Despite following this up multiple times with the Manager (I believe his name is Joao) the situation was never clarified (and my jacket never appeared) but at the time it went missing nobody was in the room. You needed a card to get in so it shocked me when this happened. When I went to the staff about this, the response from management was disgraceful, they offered absolutely no help at all and I was not treated well (I would like to point out that this does not extend to all staff, some of them were more understanding but management was not). For the remainder of my stay, in addition to having to feel overly preoccupied about my belongings, I had to put up with some really unfriendly attitudes from the staff (again, some of them, not everybody). I was particularly surprised that after being quite understanding with the hostel who said they needed time to look into the situation, we ended up checking out with no contact whatsoever from them with a final answer. So I strongly DO NOT recommend this place, it's a shame.

Btw, if you're going to crib from the PCC (and why not?!) then try showing a similar programme as well as the gimmicky Murder, She Wrote and Ali Plumb Quiz stuff. I'd happily pay more to get more. Especially for an unlimited option. Speaking of Cineworld, while the experience/cleanliness/atmosphere/audiences can be hit and miss compared to the Light House, their programme has changed massively in recent years, with a heavy focus on rep showing. The beds are not comfortable and are jammed into the rooms leaving very small amount of room for even moving one you have your luggage.
