Disciples of Christ Church
First Christian Church is a welcoming and inclusive community that embraces everyone, regardless of their background or appearance. It provides a warm and familial atmosphere where all are accepted wholeheartedly. The church offers an incredible experience for its members, with a friendly congregation and excellent sermons led by Pastor Josh. It's the perfect place to come worship if you believe in Jesus, without any other strict rules. Additionally, the praise team delivers great performances during services.
This church is like a family. Everyone gets a chance to be a part of it; no matter where you are from or what you look like, you will be accepted wholeheartedly. My experience here has been an incredible one since I became a member 2 years ago, and I will recommenced it to anyone that is looking for a church.

Cathedral
Church
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, the first Episcopal parish in Nebraska, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1856 and becoming the state's first cathedral in 1872. Designed by renowned architect Henry G. Harrison, this stunning structure was consecrated on November 15, 1883, and proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. Visitors are often captivated by its beautiful architecture and warm atmosphere fostered by an inclusive congregation that truly embodies community spirit.
The choir is the best. This is professional level music. The sermons are on point and the cathedral is beautiful. Episcopalians are extremely welcoming and inclusive so check it out if you want an extremely tradition yet welcoming environment.

Live music venue
If you're a couple seeking a wedding venue that exudes unique elegance and charm, The Astro in La Vista, Nebraska is the perfect choice. This versatile location features both an indoor theater and an outdoor amphitheater, making it ideal for any gathering. Guests rave about the outdoor space, where comfortable wooden seating offers great views of performances while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere despite nearby traffic.
Went to see Hippo Campus here and loved the atmosphere! The VIP lounge area was super comfortable and had a nice view of the stage. Parking was easy and staff were kind!
Liz G — Google review
Great sound. Interesting and versatile building. Security staff was incredible and the hands down coolest group I've encountered in 30 plus years of concerts. helping people out and getting them safely over the rail and even passing out cold water to the sardines up by the rail between bands. Excellent venue
Kevin S — Google review
My first visit here. Attended the outdoor theater. Parking nearby for $5, or free if you park farther away and walk in through City Center. There were folding wooden chairs for seating, and a good view of the stage from our location. You can see cars driving back and forth nearby, but surprisingly the noise is insignificant from the traffic. Kind and considerate staff, helpful directions. Large restroom areas, no waiting.
Jeanette W — Google review
I had never been to the Astro before. It is such a neat place. The staff were so great, and the venue was very inviting and comfortable. The concert sounded great.
Chelsea B — Google review
Saw Muscadine Bloodline at The Astro in Omaha and was seriously impressed. The venue strikes a perfect balance—big enough for energy, small enough to feel personal. Sound quality was crisp, the lighting was solid, and the staff kept everything smooth without being overbearing. Great spot for live music, will definitely be back.
Cameron — Google review
Excellent brand new small venue. Well set up to handle the crowds. Lots of different seating amd standing options for a show! Great value too!
Tracy M — Google review
Awesome and beautiful place for a concert. There is not a bad seat. Bathrooms are nice and clean. We saw Skillet there. Look forward to going again.
Tracy A — Google review
CHI, Steelhouse and amphitheaterare better imo.. Security isn't great, couldnt direct me towards the rules but insisted that i couldn't re-enter. Waiting for an Uber at the entrance and tried to go back in to buy merchandise from the venue since i had time. Was told i couldnt re-enter and had to vacate the building according to the they couldn't provide at the moment. There is an awning but not enough to shelter rain. Definitely bottom tier of all the venues. I've been so far for big events.

Hindu temple
The Hindu temple of Omaha has been serving the Hindu community in and around Omaha since 1993. The traditional style construction was completed in 1994, featuring hand-carved outer temples and beautiful interior altars. Visitors can learn about Hindu worship from the friendly priests on duty and explore the peaceful surroundings. The temple is not difficult to find, located a little away from busy streets with nearby grocery stores for convenience.
Temple is nice and good design. It’s mainly Ganesh at center and rest on side. Very well organized. I like the food quality it is made fresh.

Place is great to visit and spend time. Feels very calm being inside the place.
Akshay J — Google review
The temple is good and a peaceful place. Really liked it. Many people from Omaha and nearby cities come to visit this place to worship God. The only thing that I felt missing is that there is no Jain idol in here. Also, there is no separate Jain temple in Omaha.
Akshata S — Google review
Very peaceful and calm..i visited the place twice during my one month of Omaha stay. It's not very difficult to find. it's a little away from the busy street but u can still spot it. If you need to go shopping after your temple visit there are Many groceries nearby, Indian and others.
Dhanya R — Google review
Well maintained Hindu temple. Very friendly priests and management. Most major Indian Hindu festivals are celebrated here.
Sunil B — Google review
I visited this temple during the Puri Jagannath Yatra, and I felt devoted. Occasionally, they serve Prasada, which was contributed from the different states devotees. They also perform a traditional state dance according to the occasion.
Preethi K — Google review
Not a tourist destination but beautiful none the less. The hand carved outer temple is breathtaking as well as the interior altars as well. The priest on duty will tell you about Hindu worship and allow you to walk around.

Church
Christ Community Church is a vibrant place of worship that embraces an orthodox understanding of biblical Christianity, aligning with the core doctrines found in the WCA Statement of Faith. This welcoming church caters to all denominations and sizes, united by a shared commitment to spreading the message of Christ. The services are professionally conducted, blending contemporary elements with traditional practices.
The pastor preaches the bible and makes you think. The music is beautiful and service to the community is excellent. If you want healing and spiritual growth with a great kids program and solid biblical worldview, you've found it!

Just another Hillsong Style "church" with Joel Osteen prosperity gospel ethics. Avoid

Trans flag colors are hung across their foyer. Gender dysphoria is a real ( but rare) mental disorder. But I hope they preach about a real marginalized group- Christians!

CCC has many dedicated members and staff to support their congregation and the Omaha community in various ways. They offer a DivorceCare support group and were an additional source of support to me through the duration of my divorce proceedings. There were many moments when I needed extra support and was comforted by their kindness and compassion.
Moe K — Google review
I visited my friends for the weekend & joined them for church. I really appreciated the way Mark shared with us the stories in the book of Revelations
Peter W — Google review
Used to be be a solid scripturally teaching church for 100 years. I have attended since the 1970s. Mark Ashton is a good preacher but is seriously starting to compromise scriptural teaching by leaning towards liberal cultural norms. I am concerned for the future of this church. I love this church, but no longer attend.
Pointerdogman F — Google review
In kind of an ironic twist on this my first Worship Service Pastor Mark said the first song was written by St. Francis Assisi, who is Catholic. And having us read the Bible out loud back and forth is also very Catholic/ Liturgical. But Pastor Mark is a very good teacher and even has a tinge of Steve Martin (comic/actor) in his delivery; a tinge of titillation on purpose. I'm very much looking forward to going to the earlier 9 AM Service. So far, so good. Music/ choir/ strings were very good at later service, as was the singing. Going to sure give it a chance. (have a friend from high school who is an active member ). Thank you for this review opportunity. Is PastorMark a little burned out/ haggered ? ?
Tom H — Google review
Great church with a very welcoming feel. Very professional services, and the pastor is a great guy. As for how to describe the service, it is slightly new-age music, but they do also have a traditional service which starts early. The sermon follows a plan week to week, and it's always interesting. Highly recommend this church. My only complaint is that it's usually packed.

Church
King of Kings Church is a vibrant community that welcomes individuals and families alike, fostering a deep commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ. With its roots in orthodox biblical Christianity, this church emphasizes the importance of central doctrines found in both the Bible and historic creeds. Many members have shared their personal journeys, highlighting how King of Kings has become a cherished place for worship and connection over the years.
My daughter attended the Night to Shine Prom in February. She has attended just about every year. I cannot say enough about the volunteers who do such an amazing job at King of Kings Church and their dedication making the prom a success for the attendees. Thank you!
MaryAnn S — Google review
Our family started attending King of Kings Church in Omaha a few months ago, and we absolutely love it! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly and approachable staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it easy to connect with others. One of the biggest highlights for us has been the incredible kid’s activities. They are engaging, fun, and most importantly, focused on teaching children about Jesus in a way they can understand and enjoy. It’s clear that the church values the next generation and is intentional about helping them grow in faith. The worship experience is fantastic—uplifting, heartfelt, and truly powerful. The sermons and teaching series are not only inspiring but also relevant and applicable to everyday life. Every message we’ve heard has left us encouraged and challenged to grow deeper in our faith. If you’re looking for a church that combines great teaching, meaningful worship, and a strong sense of community, we highly recommend King of Kings. It has been a blessing to our family, and we look forward to continuing our journey here!
Robert S — Google review
The weekend before Easter, King of Kings Church emails all families who attend the Early Learning Center(Daycare) they will be closing in 30 days. A text to our personal cell phones was also sent to remind us of their decision. We waited 6 months to finally be enrolled in this program but has now been cut short due to the Church wanting to focus on more profitable activities. What could be more profitable than sharing the love of God each day to our young communities? So many children, including my own, will be affected by this decision today and for future families wishing to have God-focused childcare. Why not complete a mission to continue and evangelize to our children and spread the love of our God? All staff of the Early Learnjng Center were notified 30 minutes prior the families. So before the Summer arrives, King of Kings has sent families and employees scrambling to find new homes and jobs. We use to attend this church but unfortunately we will need to find a new home not confident in this establishment. There is hope in the families and staff that KOK(King of Kings) will reconsider their decision to eliminate such an important Jesus-focused childcare but our hope evaporates as they continue to remodel and focus on their more important priorities.
Mateus M — Google review
Recently, King of Kings decided to close their early learning center with very short notice. They cited " our church’s God-given vision of 10 campuses in 20 years". I believe its shameful they are casting the Christian education aside of young ones to get there. They are making business decisions and not acting like a church. My family will no longer attend this church as they have made their priorities known that money is more important than teaching young children of their community about the Lord.
James E — Google review
This church is absolutely amazing! My kids have made so many new friends there and also serve the church on a consistent basis! When we first started my oldest had no interest in talking to other people and always stayed with me during services. Now he is part of the student worship team and also plays during services sometimes! This church has definitely transformed our lives!
Amanda — Google review
I love this church. My husband and I are still in the visiting stage, but so far I have loved everything about it. The messages are outstanding. The worship is dynamic without being hype-y. People are friendly. It feels like home and I hope we will continue here for many years to come.
Nickie P — Google review
"Small church" heart, big church impact. King of Kings changed my life and has been there for me and my family through the good and bad. If you're looking for a church home that surrounds you with love and community, this is the place. Family friendly, a heart to serve, stellar worship and great leadership. It's really a fun place to worship and grow.

Wonderful church. We came from a smaller town that had a much smaller LCMS church. We were so happy to be connected with King of Kings. It has been nothing short of amazing. From the staff, the congregation, and the youth programs they offer! Would highly recommended

Westside Church is a vibrant community that truly embodies the spirit of togetherness and support. Having recently moved to Omaha, many newcomers have found solace in its welcoming atmosphere and heartfelt messages. The church not only offers profound theological teachings but also engages deeply with the local community, providing assistance to those in need. Attendees often rave about the inspiring sermons delivered by senior pastor Curt Dodd, which resonate on a personal level and leave lasting impressions.
These people are absolutely amazing awesome and care about community. They not just a big beautiful church they are so much more. So, I've heard stories about this church helping people in time of need. If you're in this boat please give them a call. See what they can maybe help you with, they are so connected with the community, they are truly heaven sent.

Deeply bible-based messages, inspiring, relatable. Joyful music. Children's programs that teach God's purpose and that He is always there.
C C — Google review
First off, I am new to this church. The church is ok for me. The people we have talked to so far have been really nice! I like a church with an older generation and they seem to have a lot of that at the 9:45am service which is nice. There seems to be security there every week which is nice for a big church but also sad but that's the times we live in unfortunately. The sound system is fantastic...movie theater quality sound system. The music is so-so though and I don't mean that to disrespect any of the singers or the band (they were great)...I'm just soooooo tired of contemporary Christian music everywhere I go. I want to hear hymns and gospel songs! I don't need to be entertained at church, I just want to sing joyful songs to God. The pastor seems like a genuinely nice person but I don't ever think I would get to meet him because the church is so big! I want to go to a church where I can be prayed over for healing, where I can be anointed with oil and have the elders of the church pray over me (James 5:14). Does this church offer any healing services? This church brings in a lot of money and I just wonder where all that money goes? How much money does the pastor take home? How much money goes towards the local community...to people who really need it? Why aren't there any crosses inside the sanctuary or pictures of Jesus? Maybe I missed them? These churches with the stages and lights and screens don't feel very welcoming or church-like to me. Also, there needs to be a water fountain upstairs, a bathroom, and having the elevator operating (I was told nobody uses it) would be nice because those stairs to get upstairs are steep! Anywho, that's just my 2 cents...not sure if we'll be back.

Amazing professional caliber Christmas Pageant. Several sold out shows. Worth seeing when it comes back every year. Live animals, orchestra, skits, musical, huge choral ensembles.

What a beautiful Church! I really like the people. Curt Dodd The senior pastor is an awesome speaker and minister. You will hear the true word of God preached! Lots of good programs and groups to be involved with.

We recently moved to Omaha and have been looking for a new home church. We went this past Sunday and the message moved me so much that it brought tears to my eyes. If you are looking for a church like I was please check this church out as you will not regret you did.
Rick H — Google review
Its all been downhill since Pastor Tony and Mitch left. Gates on the entrances not very welcoming. Pastor Curt seemed very money focused and there was drama. Charging for tickets to the Christmas pageant, Used to be free and i knew many less fortunate people would come cause it was a amazing holiday show and i loved seeing all the kids get excited for the live animals. Disappointing what it's turned into i had many fond memories as a kid.

The church's beautiful architecture is complemented by stunning views of downtown Omaha and the iconic cross that graces its interior.

This is such a beautiful church, I absolutely love the cross, which is hanging up above.Looking out over Omaha. I am so excited. Because I got to go and watch fireworks on the 4th of July from this parking lot. This is absolutely such a blessing, and I really do appreciate the entire team here. That just keeps this place looking so nice. I have so many memories from the parking lot. One is when the Christmas star could be viewed. My mom and I looked at it from the parking lot here. And she said God has something special for those who search for the christmas star.

Love this current building. My wife and I visiting from Dallas to attend my mom's funeral. My siblings and I grew up attending SBC at each of it's past locations. SBC even helped mold my youngest brother Dr. Anthony Cobbs to pastorhood. Thanks Salem Baptist Church for your positive past, current and future role in my direct and all my extended family members who faithfully attended SBC services to receive God's words On behalf of my family we also thank SBC for a great going away funeral celebration for my mother. Brookside Church is a vibrant community that truly embodies the spirit of welcome and inclusivity. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warmth, making it easy to feel at home. The church offers a variety of programs, including engaging small groups and an impressive kids' ministry that caters to young ones with fun classes. Whether you're a long-time believer or just starting your faith journey, Brookside provides an inviting atmosphere for everyone.
We have been going to church here for 6 years now. What I love most about this place is that despite all of the changes we are faced with, they never forget the source of TRUTH. If you're looking for a place to get practical about the Bible's content, check out Brookside Church. They also believe and invest in raising up the Next Generation of believers and also prioritize community. Our small group has been a huge blessing for our entire family, and it's really nice to walk in to be greeted by so many people we know on Sunday morning. To the staff and volunteers at Brookside Church, thanks for all you do! God Bless!

I Have watched the decline of meaning in this church over the course of time. What was once something that made people feel like this was a personal experience and God loving community, has become a marketing campaign to sell you on Jesus and his love for you. Why do we need all the fancy lights and smoke and loud music, why do you need to have some modern day musical video intro before a sermon starts? Are we really that lacking in our focus span as followers of Christ? Stop trying to advertise and sell me on who Jesus Christ is. It’s phony, it doesn’t feel genuine. Tell me where my sins will get me if I don’t dig deep into scripture and repent. tell me where I’m wrong as a Christian and as a sinner. Talk about sin, talk about what happens when we don’t repent. Talk about Hell. Im tired of the mega church vibes. I’ve moved on to a different branch of Christianity and I’m looking forward to where God ultimately leads me. He will lead each of us to where we belong but I cannot help but feel the way I do about brookeside. It’s a church club, they miss the mark on accountability and instead are too focused on making everyone feel welcome and loved that it doesn’t even feel genuine. I hope this church finds its way back to its roots and what its purpose was in the first place

I don’t attend Brookside but I am very impressed by the Care Center and outreach done in the community. A much needed light in a dark world. Keep it up!

went to this church for a short period but it was long enough. the preaching was alright but hardly ever spoke about sin and our actual need for a Savior. was more about what we could do to make ourselves feel better than actually build a strong relationship with the Lord. preached about community and fellowship but that was not my experience. went to their college group for two months and within those two months, only the leaders spoke to us and the actual young adults kept to themselves and did not try to reach out to us or keep the conversation going when we tried to communicate with them. however, the one thing that impressed me the most was the amount of resources they had for those who were struggling in their neighborhoods. their spanish speaking church who met upstairs were also very polite.

Such a welcoming experience from the moment we drove in the parking lot to the church service! I loved that they had a person waiting in the parking lot to meet new families and to help direct them to the right people to help find their way. My son enjoyed their 2nd grade kids class too. We tried their bilingual service this morning and the people including the pastor made you feel like home! Not many churches have that ability. Keep doing what you are doing!

I am not ok with a church who plugs merch twice during a service, including at the very end when the previous sentence was “Come forward and we can pray for you.”
Danielle L — Google review
We are members here. We came about 4 years ago on an invite from a coworker and have found our faith renewed and fortified immensely ever since. The pastors and all the staff handled our questions and made us feel at home. Our small groups are fantastic, also. The outreach, kids ministry and overall execution of the mission is truly amazing! If you're a believer, or maybe still exploring your faith, or maybe looking for a new church home, come join us! I am grateful every day that we found Brookside.
Jared A — Google review
We found Brookside through my old boss almost 4 years ago. We came with a ton of questions and doubting our faith a bit. Over the first few months we got connected with a small group that helped to let us ask questions and share openly and honestly. EVERYONE has been extremely welcoming from Day 1. We almost thought everyone was too nice, but as we continue to get more involved and build relationships we know that this is genuine kindness and acceptance. Sure, there are no perfect Christians so the sermons allow a perspective that is direct but relateable. This church allowed us to reignite our faith for ourselves, but more importantly for our four kids. The kids ministry is absolutely top notch, fantastic and dedicated to the Gospel! The mission here is clear, the sermons are great, the music is great. Even if it's not typically your type of music, give it some time and you will sing along and raise some hands. I was skeptical and I do this now. I am now a member, and Brookside is our home.

Eagles Nest Worship Center is a vibrant and welcoming place for worship that truly feels like home. With passionate sermons delivered by Pastor Hart and his wife, attendees are inspired to live their lives in faith. The atmosphere is filled with uplifting music and heartfelt testimonies, creating an engaging experience every week. The church embraces diversity, making everyone feel included and valued. While the services can vary from powerful messages to musical celebrations, the sense of community remains strong.
Awesome sermons, awesome music, great people Update: What a great church. The pastors deliver the truth in the word, everyone is invited and made to feel at home. Truly a life changing service bound only by the word of God. Pastor (Bishop) Hart and his wife deliver the word of God so we can live our lives daily for Jesus Christ our savior. The service never has a dull moment from the music to the testimonies each week, very uplifting. If I could give more then 5 stars I would give the service and easy 10.

I went the last 2 Sundays as a new guest. Unfortunately the 1st time I didn’t receive the word. The service was about showing up on time and appearance. Just this last Sunday I decided to go again hoping to hear the pastor preach. Unfortunately that did not happen. It was all about their new building and amount of money needed to be raised. They went over percentages and interest rates. Not one verse from the Bible, not one word about God. The whole service was about money and a cruise. I feel it could’ve been shortened for them wanting money and more about God for Sunday service! Or they could’ve done service and did the information on their new building at the end.
S P — Google review
Pastor Hart is welcoming and the staff are great. I love the atmosphere and the diversity of people. Everyone is welcomed and I continue to love the sermons here. My only critic opinion is when going to Eagle's Nest, you might get a message/word and you might not. It's a hit or miss. Sometimes they give the word of God, sometimes they sing the whole service, and sometimes they have other agendas during Sunday morning services. Like I said, it's a hit or miss. When I wake up and go to church I usually expect to at least hear a sermon/message/word of God, if nothing else.

We booked back in December of 2018 and Ryan was in contact with us every step of the way. Whenever there was a wedding with something unique going on, he would contact us to tour the venue to look at different styles and setups. Our wedding was the first where they added the option to do string lights hanging from the ceiling and it was SUCH a great addition! The string lights made the room feel more cozy and intimate and they offer it at a very competitive price to event companies. Ryan, Bob and Sue made planning the whole wedding feel like working with family, not with a business. They worked so hard to make sure that the day ran smoothly and perfectly. We had planned outdoor pictures, with our dog, but due to wind, we could not follow through with that plan. They were awesome and flexible, letting our dog come in for several hours to do pictures with us. The center is gorgeous as a whole, and the ability to choose any vendor for catering, DJ’s etc is a huge plus! (Pictures from setup)

Rude and racist!! I called via phone to get information on assistance. I sent two people different house holds as told. They turned down my 20 year old daughter and stated they had no more gift cards for assistance mean while i was there 5 minutes prior and was faded a gift card from a envelope filled with other gift cards as i walk in to ask why she was turned down Jennifer stated “you’ve sent more than one person” when calling the pastor Cody he stated they were not welfare and tried to cover for his employee. I would’ve recommended them to anyone.

Attended the PBS Historic Buildings of CB documentary preview this evening, which is the first time I've attended an event here. Very, very impressed with the historic vibe of the building. Unfortunately, the volume in the theater was incredibly loud for this significantly hard of hearing person who doesn't wear hearing aids. My elderly mother, who does wear hearing aids, had to turn them down quite a bit. It did seem early on, the volume may have been adjusted down a fraction or two, but still much more loud than necessary.

Years ago, our family was searching for a church we could grow our roots in. One where the Pastoral leadership took time with and for the church body, led them well unto the Lord upholding His Word, and placed their preferences secondary to the Gospel. We found our home at Omaha Bible Church. I cannot say enough for their leadership, the expository teaching and preaching, and the love and care towards the body of Christ.

What can I say? This is our local church. We started attending there in 2006, traveling more than 30 minutes and past dozens of churches, including our former church to attend there. We learned so much about the God of scripture and our Lord Jesus Christ. We left to begin worshipping more locally to our home town in 2012, and have since come back to become members there over a year ago. The pastors, elders, deacons, and members are the best. I am so joyful and honored to be a part of this body. To put into words would fill up this box I'm keying into. Pastor Mike Grimes is a very talented musician and leads the singing worship. Pastor Patrick Abendroth is very faithful to proclaim the gospel every time he steps into the pulpit. The sermons are almost always expositional, verse by verse. If you like solid biblical teaching from a reformed perspective, come join us on Sunday morning. Adult Bible classed begin at 9am and worship service at 10:15am.

I grew up in this church and it’s where we’re raising our own children. The Bible is explained, the gospel is preached, and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, is lifted up. We’re a body of saved sinners growing together and bearing with one another by God’s grace. I’m grateful to God for OBC, my church family.

There are some wonderful people there, and the church has some good qualities to be sure, but it can’t seem to escape its roots in religious fundamentalism, and it retains a strong tendency toward legalism. The preaching tends to be sarcastic and narrow. The leadership is authoritarian, and there is no accountability structure to prevent pastoral abuse. A suspicious, judgmental spirit plagues the whole culture, and some of the leaders have a considerable problem with anger. Because they don’t follow Matthew 18 consistently, such problems appear intractable. One may expect to learn a certain amount of doctrine there, but not, in my judgment, to see the heart of Christ in considerable expression in terms at least of the leadership. A more extensive review organized according to the 9Marks framework can be found by simply googling "Review of Omaha Bible Church".

Nice parishioners there, but the people who actually run the church are heartless. I heard that they fired the senior pastor for no spiritual reason and now families are leaving. Sad. Anyone visited recently?

We chose to have our daughter’s graduation party at the Grand Venue and it was fantastic. The facility is very nice and clean and they accommodated us in every way to assure this was a success for our daughter. We really appreciated this. Lots of parking and a very nice kitchen to use. The room was the perfect size for our food, lemonade bar, photo back drop, memorabilia displays, and tables for guests to eat comfortably. It really worked out well, even better than we anticipated. We highly recommend considering others having events here. Thank you for helping make this a great success.

Leaves solicitations at doors with CLEAR NO SOLICITATION signs. Even churches are not exempt from the solicitation laws of the municipalities in the area and your SOLICITORS should be following these laws. I will follow up with the cuty to be sure you had proper solicitation permits and if not, id expect a call. Your message is NOT wanted.

It was a most unfortunate experience yesterday at 5pm when all families were notified that the Church Board decided that child care was no longer 'part of the church mission'. This decision has a ripple effect to multiple families and children who must now find new child care within 4 weeks. At the very least, there should have been more time given. My grand daughter was brought in 5 weeks ago as an infant. This decision was in the making since January! While I am not familiar with the doctrine/mission of First Covenant, this action does not seem aligned with any Christian values that are in the Bible I read.

With its charismatic approach to worship and strong theological foundation, Calvary Lighthouse Church has become a beloved place for many who seek spiritual growth.
This is my church! I have to say I was hesitant to attend church. Although I loved Jesus, I had yet to accept Him and The Holy Spirit into my heart and life. My mom began attending this church and taking my boys intermittently. Wow did I see an impact! I live in Shelby, Iowa, and drive 45 min on Sunday's to spend with my church family. This church is g r o w I n g!!!!! There is every age and religious level in faith. There are various walks of life here, and I have yet to feel judged. Old and young alike sing! You can feel the Holy Spirit running through you! That might seem dramatic, but it's true. Our Pastor teaches. He preaches. He listens. He guides. Our prayer warriors are with our congregation, in prayer whenever they are needed. Our band is alive and their faith and worship is contagious. This is not a mega church, so if you come in expecting this, this is not the church for you. This is a place where if you miss church two weeks in a row, people notice and care. They will ask after you. There are homemade cookies and coffee offered and they are made with love. My boys and I were recently baptized. We are still new in our faith and we look forward to our future!

We've been blessed with some amazing priests amazing—deeply spiritual and genuinely caring, with homilies that truly resonate. The music is just beautiful and elevates the spiritual experience. I'm so grateful to be part of this wonderful place!

Flashback from my childhood. Looks exactly the same as it did 30+ years ago. The Nuns/Sisters were always nice and pleasant.

The Winter Quarters Nebraska Temple is a remarkable destination steeped in history and spirituality. Nestled in the historic area where 90,000 pioneers embarked on their journey to the Rocky Mountains between 1846 and 1860, this sacred site features a museum that showcases life during that era with authentic displays of wagons and log cabins. Visitors can explore beautifully maintained grounds adorned with blooming flowers, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for reflection.
I've been waiting for years to get back to the Winter Quarters Temple. I served my mission in Nebraska and was present at the groundbreaking ceremony. I've got pictures with me shoveling dirt in a suit and my mission name tag. I was absolutely invited in and loved my time in the Winter Quarters Temple. I was able to spend quite a bit of time here and even the temple president talked to me, which was quite a pleasant experience. All of the people there were super friendly and very fantastic. It was my pleasure to be there. Thank you for providing me with such a fantastic experience!

This is such a peaceful and beautiful place. It is a beautiful place to walk around even if you don't go in. The temple is right next to the Winter Quarters cemetery and across the street from the Mormon Trail Center.
Anna D — Google review
The visitor center has a lot of inspirational moments of the pioneers. You can really get a sense of what their Faith meant to them. The Temple is so beautiful and has different views all around it.
Kevin H — Google review
Friends told me not to miss this temple on our cross-country trip, and I'm so glad they did! The temple looks like it grows right out of the Pioneer Cemetery next door. The temple workers are wonderful and took time to answer our questions about the interesting stained glass and other unique features of the temple. This temple is a beautiful tribute to the pioneers and their sacrfices. Their efforts do not feel lost, even with the cemetery next door. The temple is a fulfillment of everything they worked for and is well worth a trip to visit.

This temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is set in a lovely location on the hills above old Florence. The grounds include the Winter Quarters Monument, an heroic-size statue by famous sculptor Avard Fairbanks which was made for the 1933 Chicago World Fair, and the Mormon Pioneer Cemetery. The temple itself can only be entered by faithful members of the Church; however, the beautiful grounds can be enjoyed by anyone. It is a peaceful spot ideal for contemplating the purpose of life.

I loved the grounds and the atmosphere with the interpretive center and historic cemetery nearby. Some of the plaques seemed to be missing from the historic cemetery, but perhaps they were just being repaired or replaced. Beautiful place to visit and think.
Hyrum K — Google review
This is such a profoundly sacred place. The sacrifices memorialized here are incredibly moving. The morning of our visit, the temple grounds and the adjacent graveyard were empty, and that solitude provided just the right atmosphere for contemplating the martyrdom of those many Latter Day Saints who paid the ultimate price for practicing their faith. This place is a monument to a dark chapter in American history, but also a testament to the faith that Christ inspires in His disciples, and what they been willing to suffer for His name's sake.

Had an amazing opportunity photographing a wedding ceremony here. St Peter's Church is designed so beautifully, both the exterior and the inside made for amazing backdrops for photos. Was really happy with everything captured here.

Beautiful church and a beautiful service. Make sure you grab a music sheet near the entrance as much of their Sunday morning mass is in Latin!

Beautiful, holy mass with large families embracing life!

Was driving through town and visited St. Peter for Mass. Beautiful church. Much larger than I anticipated. Parking was easy, most parishioners must walk. There was a barely used parking lot behind the church. Mass was reverent. This Mass was my first experience with ad orientem, priest facing same direction as congregation. Mass had many prayers in Latin, mostly chanted portions. I'm used to Novus Ordo Mass in Latin, so it was refreshing to see that in another parish. Music was also reverent. I will certainly visit here again when passing through town.

What a beautiful Parish! I think it's very obvious tradition is the future! There are so many young people and families here. I was extremely impressed by the beauty. Truly a gem in this city. Job well done!

Beautiful church. Wonderful liturgy. I've been a parishioner for two years now. The music, my fellow parishioners, the priests, the community outreach and involvement, all of it, is just so uplifting. This is a commuter parish. People come here from all over Omaha. If someone is looking for a place to worship, I can't recommend St. Peter enough.
Virgil G — Google review
First Time was referred there by Saint Vincent DePaul I knew right away that I will make it my home church... they've helped me with a lot of missing essentials and they've invited me to a Thanksgiving dinner. It was very well organized and they've served the community and those who couldn't get anything holiday meal. I'm really thankful for their hospitality and the assistance that I've received from them. I would recommend anyone that's in need to never hesitate to go there... God is Great!

Most beautiful church in America. Better than Cathedral. The priest, Father Broheimer is absolutely sincere, holy, compassionate and orthodox. His homilies touch on some of the difficult topics, without being in your face, or oppressive. Holy Communion is taken at the rail which doesn't take any more time then the other way . The congregation is involved during the Mass, and absolutely welcoming and friendly. There is parking, entrance and rest facilities available for handicapped.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is a welcoming and accommodating parish with an incredible staff. Families have experienced warm receptions and understanding from the teachers and staff, making it a great place for children to learn and grow. The church has been the backdrop for many significant life events, including weddings and baptisms, creating a strong sense of community among its members. While some may find the atmosphere slightly unfriendly at times, many appreciate the beautiful surroundings and engaging homilies delivered by Fr John.
Very rustic and older Catholic Church with beautiful details inside. It is a very welcoming parish. I use to live in this area, but visited the church for a devout and holy Mass for sweet nuns that I know taking their final vows.

I believe in God and I can not and will not ever say anything good about the Priest or the worshippers that attend. I speak from judgment and racist experience. You are NOT to SIN when it's convenient for you. If you lead your church to SIN, you should NOT be allowed to represent God. You allow sinners to use your church for waiting area to JUDGE and HARASS a single mom and her kids. You know what you do and everyday I look at the church, you're all in God's house casting stones. What's more terrifying is you can go to sleep knowing the pain you cause my kids. You need to thank God for myself and kids for bringing you so much monetary gifts. It's what's important to you is why you allow it. I do thank my God that he has allowed me to see that you and your sinners and followers are the ones that remind me daily that I'm grateful for the mom that I am and not weak or embarrassment to the God's word. I'll pray for you and your people.

My experience with this school is nothing short of incredible. The staff welcomed my daughter and I with open arms! We moved in the middle of the school year, and the teachers and staff were beyond understanding, helpful, and accommodating to us. I'm so thankful to have found such an amazing parish with outstanding staff.

I loved going to this church and my fiancé, now husband, and I wanted to get married here. My husband is picky when it comes to churches and Father John was someone who he really connected with so he (who is from a different county and did not have a Catholic Church here) agreed to get married at this church. About 3 months before our wedding Father John realized he had said he’d do someone else’s wedding on our wedding day and we were not his chosen couple and had to find a new priest. I know our wedding was under God and blessed whatever priest oversaw it, however, it really hurt that we were so easily thrown aside. Father John was quick to cut us off and we ended up with a priest who had no idea who we were (example: the priest who did our wedding returned my call AFTER our wedding wanting to answer my questions. He had no idea who he married that weekend) Th experience made us never want to return to the Catholic Church. We never felt welcomed and it soured our wedding day knowing no one seemed to want to do our wedding. Even on the day of our wedding the person who unlocked the doors had no idea where they had placed our decorations. They really need to employ an event coordinator so patrons can feel someone knows what is going on.

Nice church, my Grandson use to go to school there. The church atomphere is a bit unfriendly, but other than that the Priest did a great homily.

I grew up around here, and went to this school/church. I'm an atheist on the verge of becoming a devil worshipper so I can say this school didn't succeed on its mission. I'm not joking here.

I was able to visit this church about three years ago, just before Covid hit. I loved the worship service. The pastor, Nadine, is a caring and generous person who brought a spirit of hope to the service. The service itself was inspiring, and the music amazing. Also, the people were very welcoming and kind. I especially appreciated the church's focus, in worship and conversation, on gratitude towards God. It's a gratitude that recognizes the reality of pain, yet also celebrates the many gifts God gives. It encouraged me to remain hopeful and to keep a positive focus even in the midst of hardships, because the awareness of God's love and God's gifts helps me to cope with the hardships and to balance the pain with joy. Thank you, people of Clair Memorial!
