My family and I stopped in for a quick sweet treat while we were in the neighborhood to visit Amateur Coffee. Sweet Mags did not disappoint. I was able to snag a few scones and cookies. I ate them all. Without regret. The flavors were very fresh and the scones and cookies were not over baked. Sweet Magnolias is a top tier bakery with a variety of muffins, scones, cookies, brownies, and other delectable treats. Do yourself a favor and run there ASAP!

When it comes to scones Magnolia knows their stuff. Went in at 7:30am to get fresh scones and they did not disappoint! They were fresh, moist, and perfectly flavored. Our fav for the stop was the bacon cheddar with an honorable mention to the sweet corn jalapeño. We will be back. A little birdie told us they supply our fav coffee shops scones so we had to go! $20 for four

I have visited this bakery several times after eating at Lisa's cafe. They have very good cinnamon rolls, and brownies. My kids ate the cinnamon rolls before I could get a picture! The brownies are light and not too rich. Each time I visit it is a delightful experience. They do have vegan options as well.

BEST. DAMN. CINNAMON. ROLLS. EVER. I have eaten cinnamon rolls in many states and cities. Napa, San Francisco, NYC, Seattle, Denver. But NOTHING has compared to these innocent looking rolls of heaven. They are light, yet rich, with the perfect amount of sugary cinnamon swirling between this pastry that you will want to write home about. The cream cheese frosting is piped on top in the perfect amount to not overpower the tender roll itself. I don’t live in Omaha but I make it a point to always get one while I’m in town. I usually pick up a savory scone as well. Light, crispy outside with the most moist and exquisite inside. The s’mores stuffed cookie is heavenly. And if you are a bar person, I would definitely recommend all of them! Make sure to get your own of everything. You will probably think that you won’t finish it and you can share. You will be so sad if you do. I mean, you’ll be happy knowing that you aren’t a selfish jerk, but your mouth will be very sad. Run! Don’t walk to this wonderful little shop. You’ll need to run to burn off all of the calories!

We LOVE Sweet Mags so it was an easy choice when it came time to choose a bakery for our wedding cake. We loved that they have tasting boxes and were such a joy to work with! Our cake was amazing (we made sure to order a lot so that we would have extra)!!! Highly highly recommend!

The food is decent, though a bit pricey. The bakery seems to be struggling with staffing issues, leading to occasional mistakes with orders. While the treats are tasty, I wouldn't recommend it for custom cakes or anything beyond basic options. The online ordering process is also unreliable, and customer service over the phone is not great. It's best suited for a sweet expensive snack rather than a major purchase.

I got there around 8am on a Wednesday morning and there were about 5 people ahead of me. Everyone ordered at least a half dozen items, although I only left with a glazed croissant and a coconut toffee cookie. Paid $2.25 in cash (they take credit card with a small added fee) and proceeded to inhale the cookie. It was delicious!!! I enjoyed the glazed croissant too but it was a tad bit too sweet for me. They certainly pair perfectly with a cup of coffee. 🥐

The greatest donuts I have ever had! Especially their "sour cream" (old fashioned) donuts. The first time I had the sour cream donuts they were still warm and I nearly cried when I took that first bite. But they only make them on Wednesday and Friday mornings. My work always loves when I bring a couple dozen donuts from Olsens. I hope they never close.

Nice local doughnut shop, I got there around 9am but they were sold out of jelly doughnuts by that time. I got a small assortment of glazed doughnuts that were tasty. I will have to get there earlier for the jelly doughnuts next time.

Owners/workers are very rude. Better not ask any questions or show up past 10. They will make fun of you for being "late" even though they are open until 12 and act like you are an inconvenience asking any small question. Donuts are slightly better than a gas station.

Le Petit Paris Bakery in Omaha is such a charming little shop! From the moment I walked in, I loved the cozy and inviting atmosphere. They had a great selection of pastries and bread, and everything looked so fresh and beautifully made. I had the chance to try a sample of their baguette, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy and golden on the outside, yet perfectly moist and chewy on the inside. It had that classic French bakery quality that’s hard to find! Their pastry display was also super tempting, so I decided to pick up a lemon tart for my parents. They absolutely loved it! The balance of tartness and sweetness was just right, and the texture was so smooth and velvety. Beyond the amazing baked goods, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They were happy to answer any questions and made the experience even better. It’s always nice to visit a place where you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their pastries and breads. If you’re in Omaha and love authentic French baked goods, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I visited for the first time today and I’m glad I did! I gave 4 stars because I wish they had espresso/more coffee options - only drip coffee available, but the coffee flavor was good. The service was so friendly and recommended the morning bun which is my new favorite breakfast. Not too sweet and perfect texture. Very affordable, will be back to try more things!

I absolutely love this place. it reminds me of the little lithuanian cafes that we would visit in chicago growing up. the staff is always kind and the food is always delicious and clearly homemade. Absolutely love the cabbage stew! if you're looking for something that's truly original and different, highly recommend. there's not a huge number of choices, but there's enough and they change things up every day... Oh! You can get fresh baked bread and pastries.

Feels like going to my papa's place years ago. Pop in for bread. Soup-- yes please. Staff is delightful. They helped my husband order what he wanted to try. You can taste the homemade potluck nanas famous recipe level food. Just a quiet family spot for lunch....or a half dozen (phenomenonal) apricot tortes.

Came for lunch on a Monday, and they were quite busy for such a small place. I love that it's family owned, and you can taste the love that goes into the food. The temperature inside the dining room was a little warm on a hot summer day, but i took my lunch to go, so that didn't matter too much. The prices are lower than many other sandwich shops. The menu stands out to me because you can get a Braunschweiger or a double PB&J, or if not in the mood for a sandwich, you can get a variety of sausages with sauerkraut or red cabbage. My absolute favorite is on the dessert menu... Napoleonas Torte. A staple from my childhood that is so delicious and unlike any other dessert. Creamy, buttery, flaky, and tangy. Mmm.

I love trying new places, this one was a gem. I ordered the special, German Goulash with potato salad. Comfort food at its best! It is not very big and even though it was just after lunch when I can, there was a fairly constant stream of people. Service was excellent and the food was also. There is ample parking and the bathroom was very clean.

Friendly bakery. Their number one seller is their torte, but it must remain cold so we were unable to purchase it as we had to go elsewhere after. Instead we tried the apple pastry and the cherry pastry. Both were good. The inside setting is not that inviting, but it's ok if you are looking for a quick meal with no frills. The display case did not have that many assortment.

The Napolean is out of this world. It freezes well and is a completely unique dessert.

I wish we had time to stay for lunch but we just picked up a Torte. That is our family’s favorite dessert! It is so light and delicious and I highly recommend you try it if you haven’t.

I got my wedding cake from the women at cake specialist and it was the BEST decision! They made the whole process easy to go through, made my crazy ideas come alive, and made a really good cake! I received a TON of compliments from my guests!

We have ordered numerous cakes from this business and never had a problem. I ordered my son a graduation cake and requested a grad/US Army emblem on it. I explained the way we wanted it to look, the person taking the order offered suggestions and we agreed. When the cake was received, even after it being transported, it was less than anything I anticipated. I was so displeased with the taste, the inside, and the design. I do understand the decorations are sugar sheets and supposed to be edible however, I literally had a guest at our party choke on this! It was stale, the design of the cake was nothing like what I ordered or was told it would look like, I was charged for extras that were not on the cake and all around I am just dissatisfied for the price I paid. If something couldn't be done in the cake or design, we shouldn't have been offered things they didn't deliver. I won't be back to this business as I feel like being a repeat customer, I had certain expectations that were previously delivered, and this time, they failed all the way around and only offered a credit to force me to purchase from them again. Hands down, if you cannot deliver something, don't make promises. This was my son's graduation and enlistment in the Army, I wanted everything to be as perfect as it had been with this business in previous years and that wasn't the case at all. The quality of the cake was less than acceptable as well. It was dry, crumbling, and cracked even after being transported properly, the bakery tried to blame it on "an elderly couple picking it up" being my parents. That is just unprofessional in my opinion.

We used The Cake Specialist for our wedding cake. We did a 3 tier strawberry wedding cake which was TO DIE for, and a chocolate sheet cake that was equally as good. So many people raved about our cake. Can’t recommend enough!!

BEST WEDDING CAKE EVER. Cake was absolutely delicious and we received a lot of compliments. The staff was very professional and friendly and perfectly executed what we asked for in our wedding cake. We love how it turned out and loved working with them - I can't wait to order a small cake for our anniversary next year.

The Cake Specialist did our wedding cake and it was DELICIOUS! We had four different flavors because we loved all of them at our tasting. We had pumpkin with cream cheese filling, chocolate with baileys filling, almond with raspberry filling, and pink champagne. Everyone raved about the cake, and they were so reasonably priced. I like their baked goods and I've enjoyed their boba and other specialty drinks. However, I've tried their food items a few times over the last five years and always feel disappointed. The food is cheap and unexciting and not a good value for your dollar. If you want some luxury cupcakes, Jones bros is pretty reliable. If you want lunch, you may want to go somewhere else.

Would have given 4 stars but there are a few things that need improvement...the cupcakes and ice cream are perfect tasted great highly recommend eating here ..but the service was terrible and the entrance to this establishment was dirty..as we realized we didn't want to sit and eat we got the food To go .I would like to clarify they were not busy and the young lady behind the counter was putting off vibes that she didn't even want to be at work..FOOD WAS GREAT . thanks jones bros cupcakes keep up the hard work

I’m so excited after visiting this place! Never seen something like this what they call as Boba Light Bulb Drinks. Basically they are bubble tea (Bolba drink) in a bulb shaped container which itself has a color changing light. The taste is equally good as they look. The place is big and have many other options to eat and drink if you are a sweet tooth. We took Pinacolada and Tropicalitch. Both were good. The most fun part is you can take the bulb glasses home and decorate!

Love everyone at Jones Bros. Cupcakes!!!! After seeing the owner on cupcake wars we knew we had to try their cupcake place!!! We have been back almost every for the past 5 years!!! They have changed and grown so much, and it just gets tastier every time we go! They have cronuts, cupcakes,macaroons,cookies,ice cream,coffee drinks and food for lunch/dinner! Plus they have these new awesomely delicious drinks that come in a light bulb shaped cups!!! We will come here over and over again when we come to Omaha!!! Love it here and the staff is always on point!!!

The concept of the cups being light bulbs is awesome! And the fact they light up makes it even more awesome!! But the reason it’s not 5 star worthy is because the drink I got( Dragon Fly ) was 95% ice and the rest was flavor. After only several sips you can notice right away that it’s mostly crushed ice! If this is fixed this place will overall be 5+ stars !

They have buttercream and whipping cream cupcakes. I tried the buttercream. There is a lot of frosting. We thought at first it looked like only a bit but it turned out it was a full dome worth. Regret not getting a picture of it. We enjoyed them. Protip: on Mondays they sell their macaron sampler box at 50% off . It's a great deal! This one is located in aksarben shopping area. Plenty of parking on the street and in the parking structures. Not sure if you need to pay in the structure though if it isn't after a certain time or on the weekend.

I like the decor: blue ceilings. It is very lively. Cappuccino and flat white coffee were good like the other location in midtown. Blueberry scone and breakfast sandwich were also good. It was too bad… because I went there for the croissant. It was out at that time. Yeah, it can get very crowded. Thanks to the staff for being very professional, providing friendly and polite services.

Finally made it into the shop. Tried their breakfast. You order at the counter and pay first. They will bring the food out to you. Food is served on disposable plates. Water is available from a dispenser by the door. Plenty of seating. The room is very bright with Windows, it's a corner spot so very nicely lit in the day. Their kitchen closes at 2pm Monday to Thursday right now. Breakfast sandwich $7, 5 stars Bacon was perfectly crispy, eggs had a good flavor to them Brioche french toast $8 , 5 stars Fluffy toast with a bit of granola. The syrup was nicely balanced as well I did have a slight preference for the breakfast sandwich though both are great options Previous review... This review is for their mystery box for delivery. We ordered this during covid19. Price: $25 Delivery: $5 Tax: $1.75 Total: $$31.75 7 pieces plus caramels If you counted the pieces they average about $3.60 a piece but with free caramels. I was worried about too many sweet things when I ordered it but I think it's a decent mix. The roll cake was super soft and squishy when I took it out of the box. I haven't had a chance to eat them yet but of course the first thing I had to do was take a photo, since my hobby is food photography. The croissant is super flaky. That's probably going to be the first thing I dig into. Super happy they included a scone since that was one of the things I wanted to order after the fact. The loaf was a blueberry loaf of some sort. The triangle pieces are a brownie with tahini. It was the perfect amount of chocolate for me. You can microwave it for a few seconds. The one thing I wish was they included a list of what you actually got, but I'm super stoked to have baked goods in my house. Having variety is great since there's only 2 of us in my household (not including my dogs) Looking forward to trying their items in house when all this is over. The coffee was ok, but a little low on flavor. The quiche was $8 and not worth the price. It did not taste fresh and seemed to come from a frozen box. It had that plastic-like texture to the egg.The bacon jam seemed like a good idea but tasted more like BBQ pulled pork with way too much sugar. It’s a nice spot to sit and get work done.

This place was fantastic! So good in fact that we went here both mornings we were in town for breakfast! I had French toast, biscuits and gravy, as well as a sandwich and all of it was great! I also had a coffee which was very smooth. I sat along the bar so we could see the kitchen and they worked together very well to get as much food out as they did. The flavors of both food and coffee were great!

Great ambience, a live classic vinyl dj, and amazing food. Luke and Andrew were in the kitchen and made everything perfectly. Quincy made sure we were happy and satisfied with our food. The batistas made an excellent Flat White and Slow Pour.

The flat white was incredible. The coffee was smooth and not bitter at all. I had mine with almond milk no sugar and it was perfect. I ordered the open veggie. It was a TON of food. No way I could finish it. The roasted veggies were flavored well and something on it had a slight kick of heat. Very pleased with the experience at culprit today. Neat little cafe tucked away on a corner in downtown.

Loved everything about it! Service, food, atmosphere! Hubby had biscuits and gravy yesterday-🙌🏻. Today the French toast. For me, steel cut oatmeal and beignets both days!! Delish! Let me state that I love NBC as a whole, but this store front puts the name to shame. The products are great and the workers are friendly, until it’s near closing time or crummy weather. There have been more times than I care to count where it has been near closing time (I get off work close to the time they close on the week days) and the shop will already be closed. If it’s five minutes or less, you can count on the shop to be closed. Once an employee sped walked to the door to close it before I could open it! I’ve let go every other time but because I didn’t want to be a Karen, but honestly, what’s the point to having store hours if you’re going to close up early anyways.

A friend surprised me by having an assorted box of these delicious cakes sent to my house when I was having a particularly hard week. When I tell you these cakes are the most perfectly moist little desserts I’ve ever had, I’m not exaggerating. The flavors are exquisite, the frosting is the most perfect blend of sweetness and texture. Even the delivery driver was sweet. I will one hundred percent be giving them more business in the near future and recommend them to anyone who will listen. I don’t get to enjoy desserts often but these will be the one I want. Their raspberry lemon is my new favorite thing.

We just found hair! Only making this so more people can be aware. The person at the counter was great. The atmosphere was great, but we got home tried to eat our cake and pulled the hair right out of it. We bought throw both away

This place is amazing. Everything in here is delicious. I come in here once in a while for a treat for myself and my family. My favorite is the carrot cake. My son‘s favorite is anything chocolate since he’s a chocolate lover obviously. My wife loves anything lemon and raspberry. It’s the perfect combination for her can’t go wrong with either of those flavors. The store not only has cakes but they have all sorts of gift ideas And decorative ideas. They have something fit for every occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, and every special day in between that you can think of and then some. If it’s not a special day then they can cater to exactly what you’re looking for. Their staff is always full of ideas and kindness. The facility is very clean and kept up in a very well manner. Their business hours are accommodating for everyone as well. They also provide delivery. My sister always likes to order me a birthday cake from there being that she is in Texas 1400 miles away for me. I look forward to her gift every year. If you can’t make it to the store jump onto their website for full descriptions on what’s available they have many options there. Give them a shot you’ll never be disappointed and that’s a guarantee. Recommended!

Went into the store debating whether I should get anything. Not really a huge fan of Bundt cakes. They offered samples in store. Good thing. Turns out their cakes are a 5 🌟 item. They are soft and moist, not what I had imagined Bundt cakes to be. Service was very friendly and helpful. Didn't feel like they were pushy about buying. The samples were left out for anyone to try. We got the 8 inch round for $23. They can decorate it for another $9 to make it more festive looking. The decorations did not look edible. It is just something pretty. It is located in the same area as pokeworks and trader Joe's which makes it a convenient stop for me. I don't live over there but it gives me not reasons to be over there. They share a parking lot.

We used Nothing Bundt Cakes Omaha for our September Wedding. Communication was fantastic, competitive pricing and delivered on time.

5/23/2022 Stopped by and picked up three of the small bundt cakes. They have a military discount which made the cakes' prices very reasonable. The store is like walking 🚶‍♀️ into a postcard. The staff was friendly and the cakes are delicious. 6/7/2023 These folks have been really good to me, and I love their Bundlets. Plus one star 🌟

I needed a last minute cake and did not have an order placed. The retail store is still under construction, I drove up to the temporary location, and Christy came out to my vehicle to take my order. I asked for a Husker theme and pretty. I waited about 20 minutes while the cake was decorated. They brought it out to my car when it was done. The cake was delicious, and everyone loved the design at the party. Thank you!!

I love this place. I will find any excuse to order a delicious cake from here. It is the best!!! Nothing compares to the cake gallery. I tried other places when they were closed and I was missing the cake gallery even more and I appreciate their freshness in each cake I have had from there. The designs are the best. The staff here is sweet too. Feels like home to me when I call to order!

A miscommunication with a different bakery left me scrambling, last minute, to find another. Found a couple places on Google and Cake Gallery was my first stop… also my last. I will never go elsewhere. I’d never heard of them before but the workers were very kind, knowledgeable, and confident so I took a gamble. I wish I knew the name of the woman who helped me order the cake because she was the only reason I chose not to look at any other places. She was so nice, blunt and to the point, confident, had her own amazing ideas to add, and absolutely hilarious! How she took an idea from my head that I had such a hard time verbalizing and relayed it to the decorator so that the cake was beyond my wildest dreams is beyond me. However, that’s exactly what she did. Now for the cake itself. I am a first time Mima and it was a cake for my granddaughter’s “Fairy First Birthday” so I was going all out. The cake that was presented to me on pickup… even weeks later I’m absolutely speechless. You ever see those fancy shmancy cakes on instagram or TikTok that are so unrealistic you just know they’re photoshopped or if they’re actually real they’re upwards of a thousand dollars?! That is exactly what was slid across the counter to me. A three tiered unbelievably incredible cake that surpassed everything I said I wanted but was exactly what I wanted when trying to unsuccessfully verbalize my vision. Luckily the young woman giving me the cake told me that “Cassie” was the one who decorated it. I wasn’t able to thank her personally but, Cassie, thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart! You’re incredible and insanely talented and I’m SO happy you’re the one who brought my vision to fruition. I’m sure people say this all the time but genuinely and truly, I won’t waste a second of my time ever going elsewhere. It’d be a waste of time and money. In the topic of money, I’m still surprised at how much this cake cost me. The cake itself was around the very low end of $200 with a smash cake included, and the decorations (I, myself, bought off Amazon) ran me around $40 if I remember correctly. Less than $250 paid for this absolute masterpiece. I’m still worried maybe they charged me wrong. 🤣 Thank you to all the workers at Cake Gallery for being amazing and making my vision a reality! We ordered a graduation cake from across the country at The Cake Gallery based on reviews. Took a chance and it paid off. Beautiful 2-tier cake and it was sooo good. I love frosting but not too sweet and this frosting was perfect. I could've eaten the carrot cake every day. Thank you!!

Every cake (including our wedding cake) has been fantastic! The staff is friendly, the shop is clean, and being able to order the ready-to-go cakes has been great - and those also did not disappoint! Ate the last cake we got before I remembered to take a photo. Highly recommend!

SO DISAPPOINTED! Everytime I come into town I take my Mom (93 yrs old)to the Cake Gallery. We love their almond cookies and cupcakes. Before I leave town I always get a dozen to take with me. We’ve been doing this for years. Due to their move and the length of time it took - needless to say we missed a year. 2 weeks ago we were excited to visit their new location. As normal, we each got a dozen almond cookies. We’ve opted for cupcakes and a slice of red velvet cake. The cookies are absolutely horrible. They are dry and totally crumble to pieces in your hand. Even worse there is no taste of almond. The red velvet cake was so dense with very little frosting which I anticipated it to be a cream cheese frosting which it was not. Again the red velvet was so dry, no hint of chocolate and a blah frosting. The white cupcake and white frosting was excellent, moist light and airy. The chocolate with champagne frosting had no taste like the red velvet and the cookies. Unfortunately they have lost us as a customer - we will no longer give them our business.

I have gone to the 24th street location many times and have always had a wonderful experience. Tonight was my first time at this location and honestly, I probably won’t ever go again. The young lady working was absolutely rude. She had the nastiest attitude, responding to our questions with short one-word answers, almost as if they were stupid questions. I always leave a tip whenever the option is available but I, unfortunately, could not leave one this time. Not sure if your goal is to upset and lose customers if so you’re doing great!!

This place is amazing! I have been trying something new every time I go, and it has all been delicious! There is a rack of fresh savory pastries right when you walk in the door. Fresh, delicious, and all at a good price! Please give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

The freshest pan dulce around, well priced, staff is friendly and welcoming. Depending on when you shop sometimes you’ll catch a fresh batch out of the oven. Always make a stop when I’m in town. Truly a gem!! :)

Who doesn't love a good fresh baked bread or pastries? I know I do. If you do as well that would be the greatest spot. They have multiple locations and this one happened to be literally a hundred steps away from my apartment and I can go to it at any given time time that they're open. I have been to the other locations and yes they have an outstanding customer service, they greet you with a smile they assist you with whatever you're looking for and they also have great recommendations if you do not know what you want. This place was just amazing, when you go inside you can smell and feel the freshness of the bread, when I went there I have memories of the bakery back in Mexico. Keep doing a great job and bread. I wish I have one nearby here in Florida

Awesome donuts! I found they had a peanut butter frosting option and had to try it. Did not disappoint, couldn't believe it. I have looked for this for 20 years, and only ever found one place 4 hours away that had this option. Will be back!

This is the second cake we have had made from petits! The sprinkle cake was made by our daughter as a smash cake! The Dino cake was perfect! What really made me write this review was the girls customer service! Early Saturday morning she recognized a minor mistake she had made. She called as soon as she realized her mistake and offered to remake that entire cake last minute! We have alot more birthdays ahead of us and this place has earned our business!

For Thanksgiving this year, we picked up a pecan pie from Pettit’s Pastry, and it became the star of our dessert table! It was so delicious that it was completely gone by the end of the night—and there were only four of us! The pie was rich, flavorful, and perfectly made. We also grabbed some sticky pecan cinnamon rolls for an easy breakfast that day, and they were absolutely perfect—soft, sweet, and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be returning—and not just for next Thanksgiving! Thank you, Pettit’s Pastry, for making our holiday even sweeter!

The Cake tasted great, but the design of my cake was horrible! I gave them a picture to go by and I wanted fondant flowers to run down my cake starting at the top. They looked like store-bought sugar flowers and not to mention the drapes I wanted looked like a 3 year old did them, very disappointed in the outlook, but at least the cake tasted good. They also did my flowers, BIG disappointment as well. They were suppose to be white roses (which they were) with royal blue delphiniums.....I even gave them a picture to go by as well. They were small and the colors were off. I got white and baby blue flowers....not royal blue. So, needless to say, they didn't match my bridesmaid dresses at all. I would recommend going somewhere else, however there prices were "decent".

This was one of my wife’s favorite places when she lived in Omaha. We visited recently and had breakfast. The pastries looked amazing, and her Carmel roll was really good. She did mention that it used to have a lot more Carmel on it. She had the ham steak and poached eggs. I had the country fried steak. I loved that they had biscuits with it and gravy. There was a pretty decent crowd on a Saturday morning. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. We did not experience any of the negative things mentioned in other reviews about customer service.

Wonderful roast beef. Fabulous breakfast choices. Definitely come hungry. The peach crumble pie is wonderful.

The owner welcomes you write when you come in. Bread that is used as made from scratch with no preservatives. Felt like we were coming into an old mom and pop shop. When we found out that the owner works over 80 hours of a week, We were not surprised he’s just a good guy. He has his own garden that he grows produce and uses it in their restaurant. The pizza is really good and has wonderful flavor. You can tell everything’s made from scratch. Highly recommend you come and try it. It’s kinda of in an out of the way area location not near other restaurants or businesses.

Walked here from our hotel (1.3 miles) in downtown. Not too bad of a walk, just a lot of uphill. Not too busy when we came. A lot of people picking up orders. We were obviously not from the area. There were 2 gentlemen working the front. One of them seamed like an owner/manager. He gave us a quick rundown and made a legit suggestion on what size we should get for our party. Suggested the half sheet combination. We got half pepperoni and half Italian sausage and green pepper. The pizza took about 15 minutes to come out. He even threw in some cheesy garlic bread for the table! There was extra cheese on the top so we did not realize until we took a bite that the side we thought was sausage and pepper was supreme. We already took bites, so we let the staff know. They were nice about it. I preferred the pepperoni slices. Great taste. The underside could have been a bit more done, but the sauce was good, the cheese and pepperoni were great, and the overall flavor of the pepperoni was one of the better pizzas I have had. The supreme was too busy in my opinion. It had ground beef and that was almost too much in some bites as it took as lot of the bite but was not as well seasoned. The others I came with really liked that side of the pizza though. Will definitely be back if I am in the area! Worth the walk, just uber back. You will be too full to walk!

I’ve been wanting to try Orsi’s for a bit. Had some friends in town, had just visited the Durham Museum so went to this place. A few notes…if you are imagining a cute ‘Little Italy” w several restaurants with a cute neighborhood w an Italian vibe…that place is long gone. Orsi’s itself, has a vine. Also, the goods it sells (bakery/pasta), don’t imagine an Italian Market, it’s very homey in a good way. The food itself was great. Tried a pizza w half pepperoni and half mushroom. They bake the cheese on top so some ingredients are difficult to see. It’s totally worth a visit, and writing this even at 7:45am has me wanting to try it again! Oh, their cheese bread comes w a side of sauce which is fantastic!

Best bagel shop in Omaha. Wide variety of bagels that are always fresh and the sandwiches they make are extremely tasty. The staff is also very helpful, courteous and kind. If you’re not sure what you want, they’ll help guide you in the right direction. The bagels are like New York bagels, where they’re not filled with a bunch of bread. Highly recommend.

Worth going out of your way!! We come here every time we end up in Omaha. Classic bakery with absolutely delicious bagels! So many combinations possible of bagels to spreads that everyone will find a favorite. It's a popular spot and can get busy, but the staff are lightning quick and very friendly.

I had heard of them but hadn’t gone, so this morning I stopped by for a quick bite, I was promptly greeted by the ladies across the counter and helped right away. While I waited for my order a man came up to the front from the back to replenish the bagels and he genuinely seemed to be enjoying his day, I love it when the staff is happy to be there. The bagel was fresh and delicious, the lox spread hit the spot! Will definitely be back!

Great to have a bagel shop in Omaha that make fresh bagels! We bought bakers dozen and I loved the blueberry and sesame one. We also purchased two tubs of cream cheese but I think the flavor were okay on those. In my opinion, not strong enough (honey walnut & garlic chive)! Will visit again because my husband loves freshly made bagels!

Bagel Bin is one of our favorite breakfast places in Omaha. The bagels are just too good and on top of that, they are Kosher, which means that this place is also great for the people seeking halal breakfast places in Omaha. We highly recommend this place to all the people in Omaha and all the visitors.

Finally made the trip to Bagel Bin, and they did not disappoint. I got the apple cinnamon bagel, and my wife got the cinnamon raisin. We each picked out a sweet cream cheese. Her's was honey walnut, and mine was honey maple. Everything was good. The bagels had a nice chew, and the cream cheeses were fluffy. I personally would get the apple bagels again. The apple prices were too small for my liking, but it was still a good quality bagel. The maple honey cream cheese was also too rich for me, but delicious nonetheless. If you are in the area, check this local gem out and skip the chains. I plan to get an egg bagel and onion cream cheese next time. I will post an update after my next visit.

Yesterday we had a wonderful lunch with great food AND service. Today we stopped in and could not get any coffee or prepared food because "we close in an hour". So hard to review because we had 2 very different experiences.

It’s my first time here. I ordered chocolate croissant with iced mocha for dine in. I wish they had warmed up my croissant. It was very hard. Mocha was okay. The seating area was small. I wish they had outdoor seating.

Super friendly and inviting atmosphere, pastries taste amazing! Customer service was great as well, I ended up not liking my coffee and they offered to remake it for me. Seriously appreciated it. Cute little spot. Will be coming back again!

I am literally blown away!!! This place is exquisite By far! I only wish I could be experiencing it with my mother I lost last winter. We together enjoyed fine bakery goods and wholesome gourmet authentic foods from all places around the world. And finding a new favorite spot that will take me back home to our days together warms my heart. 💜 I very highly recommend this bakery and will speak of the delicious Decadence that I have came upon just by googling on the web looking for a yummy place to try or check out. Everything about this little bakery is absolutely amazing! The workers are wonderful and so very kind. The atmosphere is so calming and lovely. And the food is to die for. I ended up getting two of the chocolate almond croissants and some extra goodies to take back with me. This will definitely be a spot for me to return to when I visit next.

This carrot cake for a birthday was PERFECT! The look exceeded my expectations. We used to get cakes at Cupcake Island and were bummed when they closed, but Crum Cakes is just as great. My own preference would be a little lower frosting to cake ratio, but kids would probably be thrilled about that! Anyway I am so glad to have this place in the area.

Tried their banana pudding cheesecake and it was HEAVENLY! It was the perfect blend of sweet and creamy without being overpowering. I also appreciate that the nilla wafers were still fresh too. Service was so kind and friendly as well. We’ll definitely be back for more sweet treats!

I've gone there for a couple of years mostly. The products are decent but the owner and his wife are unprofessional at best and rude at worst. The place is not clean. I am going to pay a little more and get my products from Costco and Restaurant Depot where the staff is friendly and not nosy.

I don’t get some of these reviews. This place is filthy, smelly, disorganized and unprofessional. How they can be operating at all is beyond understanding. They had very few of the products I would expect. Just a lot of mess and dirt. It ought to be shut down. Only staff there was the owner’s son behind the counter playing games on his phone. Why wouldn’t he spend his time cleaning up or organizing the place?? He was friendly and tried to be helpful but the sight and smell of the place had already turned me off.

For a great price on bulk bread flour, I love going to the Omaha bakery supply. The owners are really friendly. There are a lot of rummage items as well, but for me getting good bread flour for my sourdough, this is the place.

I expected a Baking Supply store, but this was a dirty warehouse, filled with junk (literally), with limited bulk ingredients and nothing more. If you're looking for used and filthy pans in a dark and musty garage or a 50lb bag of flour stacked in a filthy floor, go elsewhere. No dishers, scoops, cookie cutters, or other tools. It's a shame we don't have a decent baking supply store in the area.

Wonderful experience! We ordered a cake for my daughters birthday 3 days before we needed to pick it up. I told them her theme was candyland and they could decorate anyway they wanted. My daughter told them she like the color blue. I was so impressed with how it turned out!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The cake looked amazing, was a very reasonable price and was delicious! We will absolutely order our cakes here from now on.

I have a pretty big family with lots of birthdays to celebrate, so we normally opt for making our own cakes or getting ice cream cakes from Dairy Queen. But this year, I thought it would be fun to dive into the world of custom made cakes specifically for whoever we were celebrating. Cupcake Island was my first ever experience with this. I had no idea what I was doing, but the employees were helpful and open to whatever ideas I threw at them. This is the result and I couldn't be happier with the presentation!! The cake and corresponding gluten free cupcakes were absolutely gorgeous and my whole family ogled over it before eagerly cutting in. The cake was good -- almond with raspberry filling -- but the almond flavoring was a little too overpowering for most of us. Next time I'll make sure to specify that we don't need the almond flavoring in the frosting as well. All in all a really good experience for this first time custom cake buyer. :)

Cupcake Island is amazing! I placed an order for a birthday cake for my mom with a 2 day turnaround time, and they did such a fabulous job with it. The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Tickling the Taste Buds My search for the best cupcake confections continued prior to the COVID-19 shutdown of everything. At Cupcake Island, I sampled three cake flavors. For me, the best out of three was the red velvet cake. It was moist and uniformed in body when I cut the cake in half. The icing enhanced the flavor as a whole. This cupcake was also a favorite of my cake testers. The champagne cupcake was a slight disappointment. I thought there would have been more of a sweetness to it as well as the icing. The white on white cupcake was fair without any standout features. Overall: The owners, whom I believe are sisters, were kind and personable and for that alone, when small businesses are allowed to reopen again, I would give this shop another try.

This place is wonderful!! I planned a baby shower from out of town and my mom recommended the place. I had no idea if it was good, but trusted the reviews and my mom’s judgment. I ordered a cake and cupcakes. I was a little bit worried that a place that specializes in cupcakes would not do a good job with a cake, but I couldn’t be more wrong. The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted delicious. I was thrilled with the artwork and they really exceeded my expectations. Both the decorations and the taste really was amazing and our almond cake was fabulous. I had one of the almond mini-cupcakes too and it was also delicious. The lemon cupcake was also terrific. Delicious and moist cupcakes! We bought some mini cupcakes the other night (Halloween). They were very yummy! I think this was our first time visiting the shop even though we had Gigi’s cupcakes before at a few events (graduation parties). That night, we met the owner (Anthony), he was very friendly and courteous! I highly recommend getting your cupcakes and sweet treats from here!

This was a gift today, how do you serve this, knowing you can feel the hardened bread through the paper, just when picking it up and putting it in the box…this is ridiculous. Visited Friday afternoon and was instantly greeted by a friendly male employee. He was patient while each member of my family chose the cupcakes we wanted. The cupcakes were delicious, a little pricey but we didn't mind paying for excellent quality, best cupcakes I've ever had. We will definitely go back if we're in the area again.

Excellent service. Cool building - music was a bit too loud in back so had to sit closer to door. Scone was just average, nothing over the top. The vanilla latte was excellent, the pumpkin spice latte wasn't the best.

☕ Cozy Vibes & Great Coffee Stopped by Hardy Coffee in Omaha and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is super chill—perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, and the space had a nice local feel to it. I tried their coffee and it was smooth and flavorful. They clearly care about quality. Also loved that they offer some tasty pastries—definitely try one if you stop in. One of the best coffee I have.

Great options and spring menu! I tried the iced latte with blueberry cold foam and it was delicious! Definitely will be retuning and trying their other locations.

Came here for the pickle lemonade and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED we love pickle stuff, I am pretty picky about pickle products. This was so good and we'll be coming back for more!! Staff was really nice and the inside building was really great as well. They also have a large outdoor porch with seating!

Came downtown for a day date with my husband. Stopped at Hardy's Coffee first thing in the morning. Good service and coffee. Loved the environment and design. It is spacious with lots of tables. Great place to come hang out or study. I also love that the business is locally owned and family owned. To add, we did have to pay for street parking which is expected for downtown.

Hardy Coffee is hands down my favorite place to walk to and work from downtown. The coffee is consistently great, and I like the breakfast burrito as well. Plus, the space has such a cool, comfortable vibe that is perfect for getting things done or meeting up with someone. It’s got a unique charm that sets it apart from other spots.

This random pitstop on our drive south did not disappoint. Almost looks like a house-run bakery, the baker was warm to us and told us how their bread kickstarted the business while torte keeps them running. We tried poppy seed kolache which was unique & took torte to go. Parking in little lot outside.

This was a stop for us on the Nebraska Passport and I'm so glad we went in. The authenticity of their baked goods is amazing. You won't find a torte like this anywhere. The owner was very friendly and she spoke about the history and preparation of many of their breads and tortes. They also had several different samples of the Tortes available to try. If you purchase a loaf of bread they have an old bread slicer and they will slice the bread for you. There is a beautiful mural on the side of the building that has a scroll that depicts the Lithuanian history in Omaha.

I live on the other side of Nebraska (way out West, by Wyoming) and any chance someone in my family is in Omaha, we come here. My mom is there now getting our favorite bread, Lithuanian Sourdough Rye (we have called it Black Bread since we were little), and Bacon Buns for me if they have any today, plus anything else that tickles her fancy. My German Grandmother introduced this to us and would be lost without it. Love you guys!!!

Got 3 pastries (Kruschiki, peach turnover, and a piece of the Torte which the guy working there threw in for free) along w/ a sample of butter cookie (he said “oh look! I found a broken one” and proceeded to break off a cookie 🥺) and loved all of them! The balance of sweetness to butter was just right for the others, and that torte...Oh that torte...I savored every bite. Moreover, I just appreciated the fantastic customer service, which can be rare these days. From the freebies to patiently explaining all the items, the service is a big part of the reason I’ll be making this part of my regular neighborhood stops.

If you are looking for a nostalgic experience, go here. The young gentleman I met today didn’t mind staying open a little later to allow me to look through the bakery cabinet. He explained everything perfectly, giving samples and all the while making conversation. I imagine not much has changed there over the years, especially the amazing service.

The visual attraction to the bakery is almost as irresistible as the aroma. Everything is beautifully arranged and looks very appealing. The day we were there, the bakery was full of a lot of hustle and bustle, and we limited ourselves to just a few of the most appealing items. We found the M&M cookies and the chocolate chip cookies to be a bit on the plain side, but the mini-apple danishes were pretty good.

Excellent selections, reasonable prices and an ease of shopping that make this a wonderful bakery. Just grab your tray and tongs and enjoy the wonderful selection of pastry, cookie and whatever else you can think of. I love dropping 20 bucks and walking away with bags of baked goods to include stellar rolls. If you get a chance, check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Walk in, grab a tray and tongs, then fill up the tray! Take it to the counter and they bag it all up for you. Super simple process. There are tons of baked goods to choose from and all are very reasonably priced (most were between maybe $0.85-1.25? Although some rolls with meat/jalapeños were $2). Very friendly employees!! Can't wait to come back and try some other treats!

We absolutely love this place and our kids do as well. The breads and desserts are delicious and so fresh. Such a fun experience for our kids to pick out what they want as well. So so good!! Absolutely worth checking out!

I've tried a number of things here but my favorite have got to be the buns that are filled with cream cheese and other things. They have a couple of versions as far as I'm aware. One has chorizo, jalapeno chunks and cream cheese. Another has ham, jalapeno and cream cheese, and this one has sesame seeds on top. I'll try to get pictures when I go today. I never think about it because it's so overwhelming to see all of the goodies and to decide what you're going to get. But I get these each time and they've never done me wrong. They're amazing. A lot of the time they're still warm and I've gone it early morning hours as well as afternoon. Today I'm heading there about an hour before close so I'm assuming they won't be warm but you can always reheat them and they're good even at room temperature. They also have delicious cake slices that you can get with whipped cream frosting which is delicious. I think they might be tres leches cake but I can't remember for sure. There's a peach version and a strawberry version and I found the strawberry version to be much tastier than the peach. The people working there are friendly and helpful. It's really a great place and I don't know how I lived in Omaha for over 40 years without going to a legit, real bakery. The cherry on top is all of the Mexican pastries that you can get there. Just delicious, large selection, and great prices.

I love going to this bakery because usually the birthday cakes are perfect and I never have a problem with the quality of the cakes . However yesterday ( My mother’s Birthday) was a different experience. I pointed to the cake on the case and said that I wanted the Peaches tres leches cake and the got me one boxed up from the back. When we cut into the cake . Burnt edges covered in whipped topping and the cake was not wet enough. Usually you want a moist fluffy cake and this was not it. I’m disappointed and unsatisfied. On my mother’s birthday of all days . No one even wanted the left over cake some didn’t get a first serving most of the cake went in the trash.

Have some of the best German good ive had anywhere. They are so friendly and make your meal so enjoyable. Their Hazelnut cake is to DIE for, absolutely AMAZING. If you haven't tried their resturant you have to go!!

I ordered the Reuben here and it was delicious! There were many tasty-looking treats in the bakery case as well, although we did not order any. Very small and cozy place, friendly waitress. Parking lot is tiny but we lucked out and got a spot off the street.

Good food and and they have awesome German beer selection I haven’t them since Germany. Some of the best desserts around! I hate beets but the waitress had me sample theirs and it is my favorite side I have never tasted anything quite like it! Very nice and cozy. *Hint park in the lot to the east you have to walk only a 1/4 block but much more safe than backing out onto Leavenworth!

Not only is the breakfast superb, but the staff is the best in town. It was pouring rain when I left and I was loaned an umbrella I'm returning tomorrow. ( They are closed on Mondays.) The German food is great and the fried chicken is as good as any I got home in Louisiana! Have you had their baked goods?if so, you'll definitely go back for more. Gerta lives on in the spirit of her wonderful staff!

If you know what German food really tastes like, you will quickly know that this food is a weak attempt to replicate the genuine cuisine. My wife and I ordered two schnitzels that cost more than the online menu prices, the American rolls that accompanied the meal were dry and served on Styrofoam plates, the restroom was in need of an upgrade, and the atmosphere and decor were uber kitschy. If you want a positive restaurant experience, be sure to try another venue.

I ordered two 8-inch round cakes from Dave’s Cakes of Omaha for my husband and his friend’s 40th birthday, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! Since I’m from out of state, I appreciated how easy it was to place my order through Facebook Messenger. The process was seamless, and they were great to work with. I chose a cookies and cream cake with buttercream and a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and chocolate drips. Both cakes were absolutely delicious—moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated. The pricing was incredibly reasonable—just over $100 for both cakes! I’ve ordered many custom cakes before and honestly expected to pay that for just one, so I was beyond impressed. Not only did my husband and his friend love them, but several guests at the party reached out afterward to ask where the cakes were from. That speaks for itself! If you’re looking for a bakery in Omaha that delivers both quality and value, Dave’s Cakes of Omaha is the place to go. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again next time I’m in town!

We got 2.5 dozen cupcakes for my daughter's second birthday (7/26). I called twice to change my order and was met with the friendliest staff. They had no problem adjusting my order. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. They even let us get a special flavor (orange mimosa) that wasn't on the flavor list on the website. There wasn't a single cupcake left at the end of the day even though we had ordered extras, so you know they were good! I recommend Dave's to everyone!

I picked up a birthday cake on 8/30/25 and the gentleman at the front desk was an absolute gem. He was so incredibly kind. The cake I ordered was red velvet and it was so moist and genuinely perfect. I'll be purchasing cakes from this establishment here on out!

We went to Dave's Cakes for our wedding cake and cupcakes. They were absolutely amazing to work with from the initial consultation to the final product. Dave's created exactly what I had imagined as it was a slightly unconventional design. The price was extremely reasonable and the taste was absolutely out of this world. We had several guests ask about where the cake came from. Ever since our initial consultation we have become life-long fans and will return frequently for the special cupcake of the week.

Dave’s Cakes came through for us with our wedding cake when our first baker’s closed. It ended up being a much better choice by far. He was organized, friendly, helpful, and didn’t up-charge anything. Our cake was both beautiful and delicious. We would 100% recommend.

My baby shower cupcakes turned out perfect! They definitely understood the assignment! They were decorated so pretty. Cake was delicious and fluffy, and the frosting was delicious as well. Price was great too. 10/10 will be ordering from here again!

Dave’s did my wedding cake recently, which was an unconventional design my fiancé and I put together. They brought our ideas and sketches to life and the end product looked amazing! It was very tasty also, and quite reasonably priced for all the work that had gone into it. Can’t be happier with the job they did for us.

Visited this morning for breakfast and bought two of the sweet pies, orange marmalade and Elvis lives (peanut butter, banana and bacon). Both were excellent. The crusts were flaky and just the right amount of sweet. Cute storefront with other local goods available for purchase as well such as hot sauce, prints and acrylic sculptures. Adorable and worth a revisit.

Awesome lil shop doing it right! Friendly as can be and their hand pies were remarkably delicious! We stopped in briefly during our recent trip to Omaha and wished we could bring extras back to Lawrence, Ks where we’re from. The two we had (sausage & potato as well as a browned peach butter) were just what we needed to start the morning!

Yummy yummy hand pies! The girls are great with a fun and cheerful attitude. The shop is small and you need to eat your pies elsewhere or at the picnic tables outside. The atmosphere is super cute. The colorful branding is joyful. I keep coming back for the fun new flavors and positive vibes.

I absolutely love coming here to grab a sweet and savory pastry for the weekend. The pie crust has so much flavor, and the pie flavors and variations are all delicious. The savory pies are definitely my favorite. The frozen hand pies heat up amazingly quick and are also a great breakfast treat to take with you on your commute to work.

Stopped in this morning from seeing a TikTok. Ordered both sweet and savory pies. Both so good! Owner and another gal were extremely nice. Will be going back next time I’m in town🙂.

Found this place while looking through top rated places in Omaha, noticed it was rated #1 and decided I needed to check it out for myself! This building was adorable, the people were very friendly and considering the menu is constantly changing, I had to get one of everything 😂 I will say that so far, my absolute favorite is the Brown Sugar Cinnamon hands down! I don't know if it was the weather or my hunger, but the flavor was PERFECT. Hoping I can stop by again to see what other flavors they offer, but I 100% would recommend this place to anyone looking for something new to try!

Finally tried this pie place! Next time I gotta get there earlier to try out some of the pies that they sold out of! I tried the asparagus scramble and the blackberry pear! Both were delicious! Personally I am more of a savory guy. So I liked the asparagus scramble one better! I definitely need to go back there!

Friendly staff with some good products. The low carb bread with cinnamon chips intrigued me so I bought that. It's sweet but I expected it to be cinnamon swirl raisin bread sweet and it wasn't. That was good for me. I can see this being made in to a French toast. It was nice soft and fluffy when I cut into it. I bought a cookie but my husband ate it before I got to try. Their sourdough is a good density and decently sour. I wasn't as much a fan of their carrot cake, but if you like yours with lots of Carrot and nuts this might be a good take for you. My friend enjoyed it. There are a few small tables with chairs by the window you can sit at.

Yvonne is so awesome and friendly. I was walking through the neighborhood last week and saw they had biscuits, which I have a soft spot for, and decided to try one of their breakfast sandwiches. It was delicious. I will be back again to try one of their many specialty breads.

I didn't get asked if I wanted a sample and when I asked for a sample of the bread that was sitting out they gave me a very thin slice...unlike other stores I've visited.

The bread sample was so delicious I had to buy a pound to take home to my family to try. I also got the four pack of cinnamon rolls, and boy were they a hit in my house. Very homey inside and the staff was super friendly. Will be back for sure!

This place has been around since i was a kid and its really good, we used to get free slices all the time after school. My favorite bread is the garlic cheddar, they also have sweet breads, cookies and brownies. They have a small sandwhich menu, i usually get a BLT on rye. They also have a few dry goods like soup and bread mixes

This was the only place that showed up in South O when I Google'd "Bakery". Convenient parking right in-front of the store. The inside was well-lit and it of course had that really nice "fresh bread/pastries" smell. Nice selection of mostly breads but also had some nice options for pastries. Really nice prices. I would definitely come back.

I like the staff because they are very nice. I attempted to make an online purchase but was unable to finish the process. Then I actually went to the store. Inform them that I attempted to place an online order. The owner refused to give me the web price even after I confirmed the price. Please refrain from promoting a new "order online" option without disclosing that the price is different. The owner's refusal to recognise the internet price infuriated the owner's coworkers as well.

Called to order a cake the employee in the phone was nice. After a few minutes discussing on how I wanted the cake from flavor to decoration. I went in the next day to pick it up. Got home & cut the cake only to find out they messed up the whole thing. They didn’t do anything I asked. Was it worth going back ? No. But will I go back again? No.

Absolutely incredible! The service is fantastic. Alanna was sweet and on top of things my coffee was never even half empty. The quality completely wowed me. We couldn't finish our meals but ate most of them.

Big menu, big portions, decent service, but very busy so it took a while to get our order and food. Good cinnamon roll, but definitely not for one or even two people, share it with your table for sure.

We visited to celebrate our son’s birthday and were seated promptly, which was a great start. Our server approached and immediately said she would bring us waters. While I typically prefer to order something other than water—especially for a special occasion—I waited until she returned to let her know my actual drink choice. Unfortunately, she seemed visibly annoyed by the change. Our food arrived quickly, which we appreciated. My meal was absolutely delicious—so much so that my son ended up claiming it for himself! However, my husband’s fruit side dish had a hair in it. Instead of requesting a replacement, we asked for a side of pancakes instead. Again, our server appeared annoyed by the request. After we finished eating and it was time to pay, it seemed as though our server was relieved we were leaving. As someone who also works in the service industry, I was surprised by the lack of warmth and attentiveness. I understand everyone has off days, but customer experience—especially during a celebration—is so important.

Established cafe been here for 20+ years. In general, it's hard to find excellent breakfast places (researched reviews so drove 10 mi from my home to try cafe). I tried the a Ham, cheese, onions & hash browns scramble. It came with a large cin roll and fruit (see photos in reviews). Plenty to eat and delicious. I left with cin roll. Tried cafe before but left as too busy on weekend. Today was a Wed. Mangelsen's is next door & has an entrance open in cafe, if you decide to wait & brouse store.

My wife and I was out for Brunch and settled on Over Easy. Was very pleased we did! The host was very energetic and fun. Made the wait time go by. The wait is well worth every minute. I had the chicken and waffles( first time trying any) and my Sweetheart had the French toast. Order came out in a timely matter even tho they was busy. Food was nicely Presented. We will be becoming regulars. Follow me!

This food was so good!! The only thing better than the food was the service. Being shorthanded the staff still smiled, were personable, gave info on the food, helped with questions, and when it slowed slightly they swung by to talk a bit more. I'm gluten free and there isn't much that is GF but what is there is AMAZING!! We will be back.

They decorated the place with pages from the books, printed out articles from the Daily Prophet (newspaper in Harry Potter) and more decorations behind the counter. The host was amazing. He had to deal with both great customers, as well as unruly ones. He was all over the place, and by the looks of it he was doing multiple jobs. The service is fantastic, and I'm sure that the food will be even better.

Returned recently because of their Harry potter themed brunch. The restaurant was decorated and the menu names had all been changed to Harry potteresque items. The eggs benedict was a five star item in terms of flavor. The breakfast carnitas were good as well though the sweet potato tator tots were not crispy. 4 stars The chicken and waffles (Harry potter themed) was good. I had some of my friends. 4.5 stars. One of them said they reminded her of the bubble waffle from Hong Kong cafes but it wasn't her favorite, but she loved the chicken. It remains a great spot for breakfast with pricing that runs a little higher. Previous review: Enjoyable little breakfast spot. Service was very good when we went, but at times difficult to get the servers attention. Would recommend the lobster cake Benny for something different. The Dutch baby was fine, but not my favorite. Hash brown rounds were enjoyable. You can add for $4.99 It's a very comfortable area to sit in. Parking is very easy. Happy to come back but still need to find a must have item. We didn't order the 2 notable ones from the menu. They have a Reuben that was voted one of the top and a breakfast boat that's "as seen on tv."

Over Easy is a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska! We stopped here for breakfast on a road trip and got a few different things. Everything tasted wonderful, from the food to the drinks! I got the chicken and waffles, and they were some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had in a long time! I am craving them so much and I hope I’m back in the area again soon so I can have them again. I loved the combination of waffle, perfectly-seasoned chicken, fruits and the spicy honey sriracha. Every bite was so flavorful! This is an awesome place that should be your next breakfast visit. I know I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Omaha!

Decent little breakfast joint. First time here, would come back, but I left a little hungry still. Everything had good flavor. I think these two hush puppy things are their version of hash browns? I was not impressed with those. The breakfast mimos adaptation was good. The Harry Potter themed event was amazing! 90-120 minute wait, but the butterbeer and pumpkin juice are so worth it. The food was solid but not out of the ordinary.

I had the West O Lobster Benedict and it was made well. There was a bit too much hollandaise sauce for my taste but overall it tasted great. The house coffee was pretty strong and full-bodied, the way I like it. The place was close to full when we got there but they still were able to seat us and take our orders fairly quickly. The interior was simple yet lively. I would say it’s a great place to go for breakfast and brunch especially because they also serve mimosas.

Pettit’s is my favorite donut spot in the city. Always has a wide selection. Love the apple fritters and old fashioned from here. Everything is very very good tho. No frills old school donut shop. Reminds me of my bakery from my small hometown. Service is always friendly and quick. Answer any questions you may have. The place has a great vibe to it! Definitely worth checking out your family or office mates will thank you for it!

What a cool bakery! One lady baked all this thiso morning! Great values and wonderful customer service. Donuts are fantastic, and fun! Cookies are great too! Easy place to get to as well. They were really good with the kids and had tons of patience. All their customers seemed pretty happy to be there as well! They do have coffee, slushies, and a cooler full of milk and juices. We will be back!

We had our wedding on September 28th, 2024. We started communicating with the Pettit’s downtown location in mid-August about our cake (long story, but we couldn’t get the date set in stone until then). I have a few dietary restrictions (grains and dairy), and was told by the staff back in March 2024 that Pettit’s was willing to make whatever recipe I gave them into a wedding cake, because “You shouldn’t have to worry about making your own wedding cake.” Over the phone, whenever I had anyone talking, they remained very reassuring that they would take care of everything. I sent them the recipe and my notes, and was told that I would receive a call about pricing. I never received that call. I called multiple times and was told that they would get to it. 2 weeks before my wedding, I had no trust in Pettit’s to stick to their word and I realized that I was going to have to make my own wedding cake, so I did. The one thing that WAS true to their word was that it was another very stressful thing to add on to the mountain of preparation I had to do the day before my wedding. I’ll never know what a Pettit’s wedding cake would have been like, but I can tell you that it was like pulling teeth trying to plan with them, and that you can pull your wedding off without them. I understand that a month and a half is not much notice, but for a single-tier 6-inch cake, I at least expected a call back.

My wife and I used Petit's for our wedding that just happened on 10/10/2025 in Roca Nebraska and we just wanted to share our experience with Mark and everyone at Petit's. We met Mark and his wife at a bridal expo about a year and a half ago when we were looking for vendors. From the beginning we were very impressed with Petits. They offered us a sampling of a wide assortment of cheesecakes, cupcakes and mini cakes. We decided to go with them and originally, we decided to do cupcakes and other pieces about a month after our sample box. When we called them, they remembered who we were and what we were thinking and had all of our info written down. Then about 3 weeks from the wedding we changed our mind to more sheet cakes instead of cupcakes and they made the change no problem. Then two days before the wedding we called and made a change to the quantity of our order, and they made the change no issue. Day of the wedding Mark brought all of our cake which included gluten free doughnut holes and gluten free sheet cakes. We were blown away with the quality of our cakes and the quality of the gluten free cakes and doughnut holes. All of our Gluten free guests loved the flavors as well. We absolutely love Petits and we would recommend them to anyone who is needing deserts. Thank you so much for being a part of our wonderful day!

My kids new favorite place. Oreo, fruity pebbles and lemon strawberry crunch were a HIT! Came late after a CWS game and I was impressed with the selection. They must have been cooking all day in the 90 degree heat to keep the cabinets full. Given the amount of traffic I’m sure they saw the lady behind the counter was kind and curious at almost 5pm. We will be back!

The best donuts I've had in Omaha! So many options of donuts and pastries! Every single one was so fluffy perfect. The plain cake donut had a very unique flavor I've never tasted before. Normally they have a lemon flavor, but this was very different and good! The chocolate glaze was more of a sugary flavor than chocolate which half the family preferred, the other half prefers a stronger taste of chocolate in the glaze. We will be back to try more variety in the future!

Pettit's is a long time favorite of my family there service is always outstanding they're completely clean all the time and their pastries are the best I've ever had in all of the world that I've ever tried stuff at. And for the record people the price is real reasonable.
