Gardens
Lauritzen Gardens is a 100-acre botanical paradise that showcases an ever-changing array of plants and flowers throughout the year. The gardens feature various garden styles, including herb, rose, and peony gardens, as well as a Victorian garden and a dedicated children's green space. Visitors can also explore the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory with its tropical palm trees and lush greenery.
An absolutely gorgeous place that is a must-see for anyone ages 0-99. I strongly recommend the tram tour as the facility is large and may be too much walking for some. Plus, you get information about the gardens and it's only 5$ for a 50 minute tour. The indoor facilities are clean and beautiful. Plenty of restrooms along the way. There is a super fun outdoor area for the children with a giant net, play houses and a water area. If you go during the winter, the lighted nights are beautiful. The entire indoor area is beautifully decorated with holiday activities for the entire family including letters to write to Santa and fire pits with an option to buy smore kits. You can easily spend the day there during the warmer months and a few hours during the lighted nights. Overall, a great experience and lasting memories.

For those who love being one with nature, this is the place for you! I wish I could have seen more flowers in bloom, but the scenery is worth its weight in silver alone. Most gardens I’ve seen are confined by the layout of the city surrounding it; that’s not the case here. Lauritzen Gardens sits on 100 acres! It’s a wonderful location for a romantic stroll, for children to release energy during a nature scavenger hunt, or for finding peace and solitude. I appreciate what this place offers and visit more cities that use this model when building their gardens.
Alexander V — Google review
A beautiful, charming, peaceful place. The vast gardens were SO beautiful, the pictures I got here were unbelievable. I’m so glad we stopped by here. We walked to all the gardens our feet allowed us to (be prepared for a lot of walking!), and then took the tram to see the rose garden and model train garden. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Omaha for such a beautiful vacation 💚💛
Sarah P — Google review
This garden has lots to see. I was put off by the high entrance fee, but after the tour, it's justified. If you have limited time, take the ~50-min tram for a small fee. The tram also offers an overview/preview of the garden if you plan to walk the grounds. A visually appealing and hands-on children's garden. Exterior ticket purchasing kiosk at the entrance.
MTT C — Google review
When I travel to a new state I tend to google fun places to visit. Lauritzen gardens popped up several times so I said why not😊My first impression was little children would really enjoy this place! It’s very child friendly. I asked a volunteer as an adult could I get on the rope trampoline. He said of course! He told me some history about the garden and talked about the different flowers. I traveled alone and I felt so comfortable being there. I thought the fun stopped at the tiny homes but there was so much to explore! They are still building on to the back so it’s a lot less gardens. When it’s complete I’m sure it will be beautiful.
T D — Google review
It was wonderful. Lots of walking, but worth it. Few areas under construction, but opening next year. Not crowded & got right in. Took lots of photos. My favorite places were the kids play area & the miniature railway. And just loved all the butterflie.
C. K — Google review
First time to visit in 15 years as a resident and I will say I'm kicking myself I waited this long. Gorgeous grounds that rival and botanical garden I've been to. Tour guides that led our school class on October 13th were phenomenally knowledgeable not just on the grounds but on the plants...

We are an elderly couple, visiting from Kansas City on a Friday afternoon on a gorgeous Aut day! Loved the gardens and the conservatory, very beautiful and kept up nicely. Will come back to see it in the Spring for sure!

The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, also known as "Bob the Bridge," is a modern 3,000-foot cable-stayed footbridge that spans the Missouri River, connecting Omaha and Council Bluffs. This popular bridge is open to pedestrians and cyclists and offers stunning views of the river and the Omaha skyline. It is part of a 150-mile trail network in the area, making it an ideal starting point for exploring on foot or by bike.
Stunning views, day or night. If you like bridges, there’s a chance you’ll like this bridge. I do love me some bridges and this one is a looker for sure. Best of all its one of those spots that you can be standing in two states at the same time~
Frank B — Google review
This was a must-see part of Omaha, truly making my visit to the city a unique experience. The combination of the rich Lewis and Clark history with the majestic nature of the bridge, my hour-long trip here to the other side and back was relaxing and gave me great perspective of the city (and the Iowa side too!). My favorite parts were the troll at the bottom of the bridge and the amazing views of the skyline of Omaha, great picture point!
Evan C — Google review
This is one of the most amazing pedestrian bridges I've visited. The view was breath taking and it was so peaceful. It wasn't overly crowded today (Saturday) so that was a plus. The best part was the signage showing being in 2 states at once. 😁 Definitely recommend to visit at least one time if you are in the area!
Es P — Google review
In August 2025, we visited the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge in Omaha, Nebraska. This bridge spans the Missouri River between Iowa and Nebraska, and it offers stunning views of Downtown Omaha. There was abundant free parking on the Nebraska side. The bridge is about 20 feet wide, and we did not feel afraid or uncomfortable walking across the bridge. There is no cost to walk across the bridge, either. This was a super fun and memorable experience to walk across this bridge and back and enjoy the scenery.
John C — Google review
A gorgeous area accompanying the RiverFront. There is chalk graffiti on the ground, the bridge is breath taking from every angle, and the mighty Missouri River is fun to be looked down upon. Plus, one can stand in two states at once!
Salem K — Google review
Crossed early afternoon without a crowd. The entire bridge is 3,000 feet (slightly over a half mile). There are two ramps entrances with the NPS parking lot offering more parking. Nice views on the N/I divide. If you plan to hang there, expect temperature change and wind to increase. Easy cross for walkers, bikers, and wheelchairs. The Iowa side has a relaxing vibe with a--we are not alone--piece of art you will find irresistible to photograph. Relax once you reach the Iowa side with benches, additional walking paths, and a great view of Omaha.
MTT C — Google review
Very nice pedestrian bridge. The sign says it's 3000 ft. Good views to look out over the river and downtown Omaha. There are trails you can get to on both sides of the river.
Jerry D — Google review
A great place to visit with friends and family. Especially for a nice walk and enjoying the aerial view of the Missouri River and the neighborhood, like the luminarium. Kids enjoy it a lot.

Heartland of America Park at The RiverFront is a serene urban escape featuring a man-made lake offering boat rides and captivating evening light shows. With stunning views of the Missouri River and vast green lawns, it's the largest component of The RiverFront. Visitors can enjoy walking trails, piers, and new additions like the Skate Ribbon for ice skating in winter and roller skating in summer.
Absolutely stunning! Had a great time. Great place to relax, talk with friends, and enjoy the outdoors. The place has adult size swings, teeter totters, slides, and a roller skating area. We went there on a Saturday afternoon and came back on Saturday night. There were loads of people, but it did not seem crowded. There are plenty of walking paths next to water features and also plenty of places to sit. There are even oversized hammocks to enjoy. We also enjoyed the area early Sunday morning it was very peaceful. Whenever we stay in Omaha, we will book a room close to this fantastic getaway. It is very clean, and there is a security presence that is noticeable but not intrusive. Always felt very safe and that we were in a secure environment. The place also has a great dog park.
Dusty B — Google review
This park is one of the greatest ideas I have seen in any downtown area I've visited in my life. It's free, open to all and very spacious. You can bring your pets and even see wildlife. You can jog or run. You can sit down and enjoy the environment. You can picnic. You basically can do everything.
Karel M — Google review
I visited most recently when Taste of Omaha was going on. There were so many food vendors and love the ride options. Beautiful spot to have this set up with the water fountain, swings and everything available nearby.
R B — Google review
Very nice park. There is an outdoor roller skating park, swings, and a walking path. The fountains are beautiful, and there are really nice areas where you can sit or have a picnic. Very well maintained. Also, the overlook bridge is very cool.
Sadie K — Google review
What an awesome park! Loved being able to walk the paved path around and enjoy the fountain and many seating areas to relax. Playground for the kids and 2 areas that look over the river.
Rebecca R — Google review
We were visiting Omaha and decided to try this park out. It was BEAUTIFUL! There was plenty of street parking for $1 per hour. It's a great place for a photoshoot, skating (you can rent skates), bike riding , a boat ride after 5 pm, or just relaxing.

Very nice park. Good place to stop and walk. Great play place for kids to play. Relaxing spots to sit. Easy off and back on highway.

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is a true gem nestled in the heart of Nebraska, sprawling across 130 acres of beautifully designed habitats. This remarkable zoo features the largest indoor desert and rainforest in North America, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in diverse ecosystems filled with exotic wildlife.
This zoo is huge, but so worth going. Probably need 2 days to really go through the entire zoo. I would love to go again. My son loves Elephants and this was his first time seeing them, so precious. Great memories for him and his sister loves Giraffes. The African Safari area is massive. The animals have so much space to roam freely and they look like they are well taken care of! The Jungle area is so pretty inside. The Aquarium was amazing! Great place to hang out in on a hot day in August. The gorillas were a blast to see, their enclosure was amazing. Food in the safari area was expensive for what you get as is all the drinks/snacks you can buy there. I would definitely recommend this zoo and go early when they open. Definitely try not to go when it’s super hot, you’ll be doing lots of walking to see everything. They have a train to ride, a sky lift and a track like ride through the park also. It costs $1.25 per stop.
Molly — Google review
Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo is truly one of the best zoos I’ve ever visited! The aquarium was my absolute favorite — beautifully designed and so fun to explore. We also enjoyed the Skyfari ride, the train, and the carousel (we got the ticket with the ride pass, which was worth it). It’s also nice that you can bring your own iced coffee or drinks, though there are certain areas where food and beverages aren’t allowed. Watching the gorillas laze around and nap was hilarious, and the seal exhibit was another highlight — we could’ve stayed there for hours. The Zoo Passport was a fun little activity that added to the experience. The zoo itself is huge, so plan ahead and wear comfy shoes. There’s lots of parking and plenty of food options. Overall, such an amazing experience — definitely a 5/5!
Katrina ( — Google review
I visited in October 2025, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The zoo grounds were beautifully maintained, with vibrant fall foliage that made just walking through the park a pleasure. Everything was spotless — it’s clear the staff takes great pride in the upkeep. The IMAX movies were a pleasant surprise — we saw features on oceans and elephants, and both were informative and visually stunning. Definitely worth the time! Among the highlights were the butterfly pavilion, which was peaceful and magical, and the aquarium, which was absolutely fantastic. Every animal we saw looked healthy and well cared for. The giraffe exhibit is open and scenic, and the elephant enclosure is especially impressive — massive, naturalistic, and clearly designed with the animals’ wellbeing in mind. It was great to see them playing and swimming freely. We also loved watching the sea otters, penguins, and big cats — all active and entertaining. For lunch, we stopped at the Aquarium Café, and the food was much better than I expected from a zoo café. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the chicken pasta was hot, flavorful, and satisfying. This was truly a day to remember. I highly recommend visiting — just be sure to plan for the whole day, because there’s so much to see and do. It’s one of the best zoos I’ve ever experienced.
Travel B — Google review
I have been here a couple of times. Visiting this famous zoo is always a great experience. Here's my review: I went here on a Saturday, arrived around 11:00, and there was plenty of parking. I recommend getting tickets online since arriving at the entrance, there are long lines for getting tickets physically, but going into the zoo took less than 2 minutes. You can also bring some snacks and your water bottle so you don't have to buy the more expensive food or drinks. From there we just enjoyed the zoo and took a lot of pics. And just seeing these animals up close is just awesome. Hope some of you guys find this helpful see ya👋
Fernando R — Google review
Awesome Zoo! Great exhibits and variety of animals. Reasonable priced entry and they encourage bringing your own water bottle to refill. My only advise is get there early and do the desert done and aquarium as some of your first stops as they can get a little crowded
Ana B — Google review
I understand why this zoo is rated #1!my first impression is the rainforest with the monkeys. Man that was such a delight to see. I walked around so much my feet were on fire😊I took a little break by getting on the sky lift ($7 rt) and saw an over view of all the animals. There were so many highlights to this zoo I would highly recommend to everyone! Money well spent!!!
T D — Google review
Fantastic zoo! It was pricey for a zoo, bit it was 100% worth it! I grimaced as I paid the kiosk extra bucks for "all rides" without even knowing what they were. So it for me unlimited tram rides, unlimited locomotive rides, unlimited skyline rides, and I think the carousel too. All of the rides I went on were fantastic for a zoo! Really helped rest my feet so I could see more exhibits. I don't have a bad thing to say about any of the exhibits. Truly one of the nation's best zoos!
Lol P — Google review
Incredible zoo. This comes as no surprise, but it has all one would want and more, from my perspective. On the scorcher of a day we visited, I appreciated that they have misting stands in various locations around the zoo as well as signs that display the signs of heat exhaustion. We went throughout the outdoor portion for as much as we could handle in the heat and we loved all of the animals there were to see. Some old favorites like elephants and giraffes along with a few animals I was not previously familiar with. Loved the butterfly atrium and I'm always a fan of an aquarium. There seemed to be lots of places within the zoo to grab food and drinks as well. Also be sure to stop by their great gift shop. We had a blast!

The Durham Museum, located in the grand Art Deco-style Union Station train terminal, offers a captivating journey through Nebraska's history. The museum's permanent and traveling exhibits delve into various aspects of regional heritage, from Native American homes to the development of local landmarks. Visitors can explore interactive displays on Omaha and Union Pacific railroads, including beautifully restored train cars dating back to 1890.
One of the best museums I have visited dedicated to trains! The union station is a magnificent art deco building. Everything inside is well thought out and perfectly curated.
Yel H — Google review
A beautiful old train station with plenty of history and exhibits to enjoy. You can easily spend 1-2 hours in here. Staff is friendly and everything is clean. This is one of the best museums in the midwest!
Isaac A — Google review
Wow! There is a lot more here than initially meets the eye. When you park on the top level of the parking deck, you see the upper of level of the former train station. The crown jewel exhibit is the waiting room with its art deco design... It's truly beautiful. Then on the lower level, you'll learn a lot about Omaha ... It's architecture, it's companies, and it's people. The fun of walking through multiple railroad cars with luxury accommodations. Furthmore, there are so many interesting facts about the city and it's emergence as a critical city.
Gregory — Google review
I’m from Georgia and I was taking my first solo trip to Nebraska. I stopped at the Lauritzen Garden and asked a random couple what they would recommend me visit. They quickly replied the Durham museum. I stepped inside the old train station now museum and I was just blown away by it. I was then warmly greeted at the front entrance. I asked where I should start my experience and the gentleman said I think you should start downstairs where the museum is located. The museum is so well put together!I spent a couple of hours there.
T D — Google review
Wow, this museum is just amazing! Such a gorgeous building, and the exhibits are so interesting and informative. Our favorite by far was the train cars on the lower level. What a treat it was to walk through the beautifully restored Pullman cars! We would definitely visit this museum again!🩷🚂🚂🚂
Jen P — Google review
Worth seeing if you have time to spare while visiting Omaha and want to take a brief step back in time to learn more about what train travel was like in the 1930s. Also includes many other historical exhibits going back to the 1700-1800s. Great museum overall.
Howard S — Google review
So so fun! Always hosting events and presenting new exhibits! Means you can come again and again and not get tired ❤️

Definitely recommend this awesome historical and hands-on Museum! The history of Omaha is fascinating and the exhibits do a wonderful job. And you have to keep going back because their temporary exhibits are phenomenal.

The Joslyn Art Museum is a captivating blend of 1930s Art Deco architecture and modern design by Norman Foster. The exterior boasts colorful Dale Chihuly glasswork, setting the stage for an eclectic collection of European, American, Asian, Native American, Latin American, and contemporary art inside. Kids can enjoy the Discovery Garden while adults explore outdoor sculptures or visit the Minds Eye Gallery featuring original pieces from beloved children's book illustrators.
It is a free museum. Dogs are allowed on the property, but not in the museum. I recommend picking up a map in the lobby, as there are lots of rooms and hallways. You can very easily spend a couple of hours there. There are certain rooms in the museum that you can't go in without a ticket, but most of the museum is open for anybody. They have beautiful paintings and artifacts. The architecture in the building is amazing, and they have engravings on the outside of the building as well.
Sadie K — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this museum. In addition to offering stunning architecture, the art itself is eclectic and on par with some of the museums we have explored in Europe. There is also an amazing room downstairs for kids to express their creativity. Truly, this museum offers something for all ages.
Sarah W — Google review
The Joslyn is a great art museum. I saw a Thomas Heart Benton, a Monet, and a Degas. I can't help but compare it to the Nelson-Atkins, even though it is smaller with a smaller collection. Just like the Nelson, it is a few buildings with different styles attached to each other. The buildings are just as beautiful as the art they house. It's a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. I really appreciated that many of the signage was in English and Spanish. The grounds are beautiful.
Kate — Google review
Building is gorgeous and the newer addition is stunning. Everything is so well kept and immaculate. Such an interesting story of the man and woman that started it and I was impressed with the foundations supporting it and the artwork. Free admission supported by The Holland Foundation-so generous!
Mary A — Google review
This was my first time visiting Joslyn in almost 25 years as I no longer live in the area. I grew up in Omaha and visited Joslyn many times over the years for school trips, for family enlightenment of the arts, also for their Jazz on the Green concerts where we would visit the museum before the concerts. Visiting the Joslyn this time I was very impressed with the recent building additions as well as the art collections in the various galleries. Well done Joslyn, this museum would be good fit for any city anywhere. Plus free parking and free admission, wow.
Leon B — Google review
Absolutely stunning museum! I would definitely recommend. Beautiful artwork and wonderful place to spend the afternoon. It is free of charge, clean, and lovely.
Jayne W — Google review
I haven't been to Joslyn since I was a kid, so I was excited to see it again during a recent trip to Omaha. What an AMAZING place if you love art! Even if you dont care for art, the building itself is truly spectacular and worth seeing!

A Wonderful Visit to the Joslyn Art Museum My recent visit to the Joslyn Art Museum was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a feeling of serenity and awe. The space is thoughtfully laid out, allowing each piece to breathe and command attention, and it felt like beautiful works of art were in every corner imaginable. One of the most captivating pieces I encountered was a painting made of broken pottery. The artist's ability to transform discarded shards into a cohesive and beautiful image was nothing short of brilliant. The texture and depth created by the uneven surfaces gave the work a unique dimension that a traditional painting could never achieve. It was a powerful reminder that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places. Another highlight was the striking black and white room. The simplicity of the color palette only served to amplify the dramatic impact of the artwork. The interplay of light and shadow, combined with the bold lines and forms, created a visually stunning and deeply immersive experience. It was a space that encouraged contemplation and a different way of seeing. But perhaps the most whimsical and imaginative piece was a sculpture made up entirely of clear buttons. It was a testament to the artist's creativity and patience. The way the light caught the multitude of buttons, each one a tiny lens, created a shimmering, ethereal effect. It was a playful yet sophisticated piece that brought a smile to my face and left me marveling at the sheer ingenuity behind it. Overall, I can't express enough how wonderful it is that we have such an amazing art gallery. The Joslyn Art Museum is a true treasure, offering a diverse and engaging collection that appeals to a wide range of tastes. It's a place where you can lose yourself for hours, discovering new favorites around every corner. I left feeling inspired, refreshed, and grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful collection. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an enriching and enjoyable outing.

Fontenelle Forest, located just 15 minutes south of downtown Bellevue, is a natural haven offering a variety of activities for families and nature enthusiasts. The area features hiking trails, picnic facilities, and a mile-long ADA accessible boardwalk with scenic views of the Missouri River and downtown skyline. Visitors can explore wildlife in the raptor woodland refuge or participate in high ropes course activities at Tree Rush Adventures.
LOVED this place!! Added so many birds to my life list here (I’m new to bird watching, so this was very exciting!) Plan on making a trip back up to the area specifically to come back and hike the longer trails. Trails are very clearly marked and very easy to navigate. Nature center offers great history and ecology education and has some incredibly friendly staff!

I haven’t visited in years and we decided to stop by for some exploring in nature time with our cousins. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Fontenelle Forest is part of the Blue Star Museum program. Up to 6 people with active duty military identification can get free admission. The gift shop is well organized and has some cute items. The bathrooms were clean. It had rained the night before, so some trails were muddy and the slides were wet. The staff were so helpful in giving us ideas for what hikes to do. The boardwalk is so nice!! The kids had a great time! We loved seeing the birds and a lady came and spoke to the kids all about them and was so patient with their questions. We did not do the ropes course. It looked like it was well made and large, but couldn’t justify the really expensive price per person.

Plenty to do inside and out, stroller friendly, boardwalk or trails for walking. Beautiful forest experience in the city! There is a calendar for activities available for those whom are wanting to attend birdwatching events, there are classes for kids and families as well.

Wish we would have had more time, the trails are amazing! We will definitely be back and more prepared to hike. The rope course looks amazing, just ran out of energy. Fantastic place and a must see!

I've now gone twice, I live 3 hours away and in my opinion it is the best place to go in Omaha if you like nature and hiking. I asked an employee to record me proposing to my girlfriend and they happily made their arrangements to help me out. Great employees, great scenery.

Amazing facility. Just purchased a year membership. Loved the trails I took and the raptor reserve was so cute. Beautiful birds there.

Fontenelle is one of my favorite local spots to quickly get it in nature. The boardwalk is an awesome way to get a few miles in, with nature. If you're feeling more adventurous, there are miles of off boardwalk trails to enjoy!

Nestled in Omaha's Old Market Passageway, V. Mertz is an iconic and elegant restaurant with a rich history dating back over 100 years. Originally a fruit and vegetable cellar, it has evolved into a cultural and historical local gem. The Mercer family played a significant role in restoring the Old Market district, with V. Mertz being one of the original businesses to open there as a French-style cafe and wine shop. Today, V.
The kitchen of V. Mertz celebrates life through creative exploration of food. Each dish we had was simultaneously unique and a variation on a theme. The tasting menu offered incredibly complex flavor destinations on an expertly booked journey. The savory bread roll, risotto, and lamb were especially delicious and the sous chef's experimental sweet potato pie foie gras paired with a bold Sauternes wine was like walking through a portal into fall nostalgia. Every member of the staff contributed to a perfect evening but Drew happened to be our guide through the dinner of the year.

Little late on the review but better late than never! I came in for a birthday dinner. I absolutely loved that the menus said Happy Birthday! Overall I felt the food was good but not wow. The appetizer and the dessert left a little to be desired, but the main course was fantastic! I will say that all the dishes were visually stunning.

There truly aren’t enough words to capture the phenomenal dining experience my team and I — a group of more than 20 professionals — had at this remarkable establishment! From start to finish, every detail reflected an extraordinary level of care, passion, and hospitality. The food was nothing short of exquisite — each dish thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Every plate told a story of culinary expertise and dedication. The wine and cocktail pairings were spot-on, perfectly complementing the flavors and enhancing the overall dining experience. The service was equally impressive. Despite the size of our group, the staff never missed a beat. They were attentive without being intrusive, warm without being overbearing, and professional while still creating an atmosphere that felt comfortable and personal. The ambiance completed the experience — elegant yet inviting, refined yet relaxed. It’s clear that the team here takes pride not only in what they serve but also in how they make guests feel. A special thank-you to the bartenders, wait staff, and sommelier, whose expertise elevated the evening, and to the kitchen team, whose creativity and skill made the magic happen behind the scenes. Simply put: you haven’t truly experienced Omaha until you’ve dined here. I’m already looking forward to returning later this week during my conference — and this restaurant is now officially marked as a Favorite on my Google Maps. Without a doubt, this will be a regular stop every time I’m in town!

Best dining experience in Omaha, hands down. The food is out of this world. If Michelin cared about Omaha, they’d have a star. The service is top notch, probably the finest service in town. They love to share their passion for food, wine, and a great experience with their guests. HIGHLY recommend.

We loved our steaks very much. The hummus appetizer was the right size and delicious. A great wine list (for Omaha) and a fun vibe.
Eric H — Google review
Celebrated my wife's birthday and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent. We did the tasting menu and everything was well prepared, very tasty, and filling. The wine pairing with the tasting menu was fantastic as well. After asking about the foie gras dish on the a la carte menu (preparation etc.), we were very grateful to have it offered to us as a gift for no charge! Fantastic venue that has won us food connoisseurs over as future regulars. For those looking for a fine dining tasting menu esque experience in Omaha, this is a home-run. The only down side I would say, is that it was a little noisy in there; not necessarily a negative mark on the restaurant or staff or anything like that, but just something to potentially keep in mind. But overall, was a great date and we will look forward to next time!
Jordan T — Google review
We absolutely LOVE this place. Never a bad experience dining here and we eat here at least twice a year. The tartare and duck are my personal favorites. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciate the wine recommendations as well as we prefer southern hemispheres wines. This is one of the best, if not the best, fine dining restaurants in Omaha.

Very good food in a cozy setting. My wife had the boneless quail and it was great. The bread service was also outstanding. Service could have been better - it took over an hour for our entrees with no communication from the staff. The two tables next to us appeared to be regulars and they were served several courses while we sat there starving. They also got lots of attention from the sommelier, who did not stop by our table at all, even after I inquired about the wine. Hopefully an off night but it was a bummer.

Joslyn Castle & Gardens, located in Omaha, Nebraska, is a Scottish-inspired castle and garden dating back to 1903. The estate was built by George and Sarah Joslyn, who were prominent figures in the city's history. George's successful career as the president of a large newspaper service organization made him the richest man in Nebraska at the time.
Was a great tour $17? Is all it cost me? And I'll tell you, it's worth it. The tour took two hours. This is just a very small fraction of all the photos I took most of the light fixtures senses on the first floor are all originals.

Peg was a superlative tour guide with an exuberance of knowledge of the family and the castle's historical and cultural ramifications. The foundation has taken capacious and copious amounts of fervor to revitalize this epochal icon of the Midwest. Rare and extinct woods, Victorian and Scottish milieu throughout this home, make it a haven for those interested in the arts, architecture, and red-lettered artifacts of the early 20th century. Will come again, especially once the “man-cave” is restored.

In August 2025, we visited the Joslyn Castle & Gardens in Omaha, Nebraska. This home is on the National Historic Register and it offers some inside tours. We walked around the exterior and in the gardens, and we enjoyed our self-directed tour. The castle architecture is amazing, and they have nearby buildings, gates, and fences that maintain the castle theme. The Joslyn Castle was a great place to visit, and it was a fun and memorable experience.

My wife and I came down from Sioux City, IA, to Omaha to celebrate her birthday weekend back in late August. This castle looked like an interesting place to visit, so we decided to give it a try. Molly was a fantastic tour guide, and the Scottish style of architecture was beautiful. I found the chandeliers to be really cool, which explains why I took so many pictures of them! 😁 If you are a history lover like me and are looking for a great tour at a reasonable price, do yourself a favor and tour this lovely place!

Spezia Omaha is a modern restaurant with a spacious patio, offering a variety of Italian dishes as well as wood-grilled entrees and Angus steaks. It's known for its delicious flatbreads, extensive wine selection, and juicy steaks, making it stand out from other dining spots in town. The restaurant is recommended for romantic evenings and hosting out-of-town guests. They also have a daily happy hour with discounted drinks and appetizers.
The only ding was the 4 stars for atmosphere. The place has been here for 30 years in some form of Italian restaurant. The new Owner/Chef took over about 2 years ago. The place could use a deep cleaning. Walking into the foyer we were met with a less than pleasant smell. It reminded me of spoiled fish. ?? Hard to describe. It just didn’t smell fresh or clean. It wasn’t a good beginning. But the service and the food redeemed the visit and we will return again.
Nina V — Google review
I recently had dinner at Spezia and tried a few pasta dishes along with the chicken parmesan. The food was overall decent—nothing mind-blowing, but well-prepared and satisfying. One highlight was the service: the waitresses were friendly and efficient, which made the experience smooth and pleasant. The only downside for me was the interior lighting—the restaurant is quite dark inside, which I personally didn’t enjoy. All things considered, I’d rate my experience a solid 7 to 8 out of 10.

I have been here a few times and this Italian restaurant, without a doubt, has to be the best I've ever been to and eaten at. Honestly, everything on the menu is delicious and of course the specials are great as well. Atmosphere, not too loud nor too quiet just perfect. The waiters/staff are friendly and are problem solvers if anything goes wrong. Overall highly recommended. Also might have to reserve a table because this place is always packed. Hope some of you guys find this helpful. Have a good day.

It is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen. The beautiful decor and the ambience is beautifully invited. It feels like a fine dining experience with a reasonable priced menu. And the variety of entrees is quite impressive. I would 100 percent recommend for anyone wants to impress someone. We sat on the lovely patio. We had the wood seared tuna fantastic. I had the Heart of the Angus sirloin and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked. Date had wood grilled scallops delicious. Don't miss this place. Doesn't look like much on the outside but it's definitely a hidden treasure. I would give it 10 stars if possible

It was a great experience. Somehow I had an impression that the restaurant is not big, based on the building, but it is really big. We came inside after couple of minutes after 4 on Saturday, and there was a line of people waiting for tables. The seafood risotto was perfect. The service was very good and quick, while the restaurant was absolutely packed.

Spezia is an Omaha classic. Love the atmosphere, delicious meals, and desserts! The burgundy beef is fantastic and their tiramisu is top notch. I love sitting under the bright dining room window in the day or their lovely patio under string lights with the stars in view at night. ✨ They offer a wide variety of fine wines for those that drink and a Sam Adams NA beer for those that don’t. I recommend reserving a table for dinner while lunch is a little more open.

Gene Leahy Mall at The RiverFront is a 10-acre urban park located in downtown Omaha. The park spans from 13th to 8th streets between Douglas and Farnam streets and is surrounded by towering buildings. Formerly known as Central Park Mall, it was renamed after former Omaha Mayor Eugene A.
Such a cool place! Outdoor Skating rink, hammocks allover the place to rest, fire pits, pond with area to walk around it, cool lit up bridge where you can see the city, slides, water area and plenty of places to sit. There were food trucks and a 4th of July symphony and fireworks, it was a great experience. There is a really neat kids play area, a dog park and public bathrooms (until like 10pm). They close the park like at 10 and everyone has to leave, they have lots of security and law enforcement down there.

From the moment we entered Trini's, we were greeted by the host right away. We were led to our table and were given some of the special cocktail offerings for happy hour. Griffen, our waiter was extremely friendly. Very polite with such a calm demeanor. We asked questions about the menu items, and he gave us excellent recommendations. He is one of the best servers we have had in such a long time. We ordered the chimichangas, seafood platter, and steak & chicken fajitas. Every dish was delicious! Great little place. Had it once while in town for the weekend. Food was very good and felt very authenticate. Staff was very friendly. Prices were reasonable. No complaints on the food at all. Service wise they are very busy at 6:00pm on a Saturday. We had a 30 minute wait which we took to walk around. Every seat is full so you'll have to get lucky to get seated or wait some time. Overall not terrible and we were not bothered by a little wait. With how busy they were, there was not much for service if that bothers you.

Wave Bistro is a charming and artistic restaurant that offers a blend of Asian fusion cuisine with a European influence. The bistro, located in the Hillsborough neighborhood of Omaha, has been serving its patrons for nearly 30 years. Owners Andy and Jenny Hsu bring their 25 years of experience to create an exceptional dining experience. The menu features a variety of dishes such as Lemon Creamy Almond Shrimp and Thai Basil Crusted Chicken, showcasing a perfect harmony between contemporary and traditional flavors.

Top-notch food. Very high quality and unique Asian cuisine. One of the best restaurants of any type in Omaha. I have never had a bad or even mediocre dish here. The pan seared dumpling appetizer was excellent. The dumplings are tasty with a light batter. The portion size is ample for an appetizer and probably enough for 3 people to leave room for the entree. I ordered the Yakisoba noodles with chicken. They were not stingy on the chicken and somehow manage to elevate what would appear to be an ordinary dish of noodles into a delight from the first bite to the last. The portion size is large. The bread rolls are some of the best anyway as they taste like a light and fluffy funnel cake. No butter is needed in my opinion. The restaurant is family owned and the service is usually welcoming, attentive, and professional. Try this place tonight if you have not already.

This was our first visit to Wave Bistro. My wife and I had a nice quiet dinner to help celebrate our anniversary. The service was great, and our server was extremely knowledgeable. My wife's scallops and shrimp were cooked to perfection! She loves scallops when they're done right. My chicken was so tender and tasty. In case you need to eat gluten-free, Wave Bistro has you covered. We would definitely go back.

I very much consider myself a Chinese foodie, but probably the American version of Chinese food to be clear. I have eaten at Wave Bistro a few times, and it has always been good. They were busy on this particular evening, but the food was great and we had enough for leftovers the next day too. The prices have gone up, but the portions were very reasonable. If I lived closer, I would come here more often.

Plenty of good things to say about Wave! The food was good, and the presentation was fantastic! Service was great, and the cheesecake was good too. I was told to order the lamb from a friend's recommendation. It was good, but not my favorite lamb dish to date. Next time I'll skip it and go for something a little more traditional on their menu. But did I mention the presentation? So creative, fun, and colorful. Not something you see in a lot of restaurants any more.

We were there just two days ago and food was delicious. OwnerJenny was very friendly and attentive! Great ambience and decor! We had cashew salmon, chicken lettuce wraps, wanton soup, and all of that were delicious. The free bread appetizer are our favorite! Highly recommend this place if you are in the NW area by 144th & Maple next to Home Depot.

The dining room is very beautiful. Much higher end than I had envisioned it. Hot and sour soup 4.25 stars Egg drop 3.75 stars Beef with hoisin sauce 5 stars Perfect for my taste. My friend though thought it wasn't salty enough for his. Chicken in garlic sauce 3.75 stars Not enough garlic flavor. It was a slightly sweet sauce so if you want a slightly sweet thing it might be for you. The sauce lowered the rating but I was impressed with the chicken not being dry which is an issue I've been running into with Chinese American food in Omaha. Green Thai curry 5 stars Surprise hit. This i thought was going to be mediocre but turned out to be a great version of yours dish. Shrimp fried rice 4 stars Not quite enough wok hay for my taste, but a good version to order still. Garlic basil crusted chicken with seven spice mango sauce 3 star I didn't really enjoy this one all that much. Felt that there are better options. We did notice it wasn't one of the favorited items, which we were surprised about since it sounded so amazing. Upon eating it I can see why. There's just better options on the menu Parking is available in a medium sized shared lot.

Johnny's Italian Steakhouse is a delightful dining destination that combines the best of both worlds: succulent steaks and authentic Italian cuisine, all served in an elegant atmosphere reminiscent of a classic supper club. The sleek bar sets the stage for enjoying expertly crafted cocktails alongside delectable dishes like seared scallops paired with arugula risotto, featuring lemon butter and parmesan cheese.
We were waited on by Miranda & she was amazing and fun. She took the time to clarify the sauce options. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been coming here for years, and this is my favorite restaurant. I tend to stick to my favorite meals wherever I go. I’ve yet to be disappointed with the food or service here. We usually sit at the bar (not a sports bar). The drinks and service excellent, with little wait time. Today I ordered a fresh cup of decaf and their crème brûlée for dessert. The coffee was piping hot and the crème brûlée crusty and still toasty warm on top. A friendly heads up if you use the restrooms. The sewage system problem at Village Pointe isn’t their fault

Here is my honest review on Johnny’s Italian steakhouse. First of all really nice restaurant, I really love the food pasta burgers and fry’s were fresh and hot, on point, the Cesar salad was fresh, prices are fair. $15-30 per person. Dessert 🧁 wasn’t so great, we order a Tiramisu cake and it was dry , the amaretto flavor took over the coffee flavor. I’m not sure if it was only my piece or every piche is the same. I really encourage you to keep a bell 🛎️ at the front desk, if you don’t have a hostess, we weren’t the only ones waiting at the door wondering if it was open yet, after us the were more people in the same situation. Waiter was so friendly, thank you, we never had to ask for water or the check. I will go back I really loved it.

My hubby and I tried this on a whim before going shopping in the area. We went with my hubby’s favorite appetizer : calamari. They had it nicely breaded and cooked perfectly. It wasn’t coated with lots of breading or chewy. They gave us Mayo sauce and marinara for dipping. I thought my Johnny’s Minelli was a great choice with the blackened chicken. The chicken was very tender, and the sauce was a great combination of garlic and cheese. Plus the glass of wine that our server recommended went along nicely with my pasta. I was pleasantly surprised by the first experience in comparison to some of the reviews. I’m pleased we tried it and will come back again.
Lesley M — Google review
I enjoyed the house salad, steak/shrimp diavolo with garlic mashed potatoes and the volcano, chocolate cake with cinnamon ice cream. The diavolo steak and shrimp was excellent. The medium rare steak was tender and tasty. The sauce was crazy good, and I used the leftover sauce with my garlic mashed potatoes. The house salad was a basic house salad, no complaints. I'd rate a 4.5 food score if possible. The chocolate lava cake was dry except where the chocolate sauce was poured. I don't think that's enough to drop an entire star, but for this level of restaurant, definitely a half star. The service was as expected at this level, but nothing stood out and the atmosphere was lovely.
Todd T — Google review
Atmosphere is dark and poor music. We could barely read the menu in the lighting, the waiter seemed unhappy to be there, served no butter with the bread, asked for a specialty shot that we NEVER received, filet Oscar stated lump crab and had a horribly mushy crab cake on top of my steak instead, soup was cold, salad had only 1/2 a cherry tomato, potatoes cold, silverware was heavy and HUGE, no steak knives, and steaks thin and cooked incorrectly. For the prices the food came nowhere close! It was very unpleasant listening to the drunk guests at the bar yelling as well. I will not visit again.
Lilfayj — Google review
If I could rate this place 6 stars I would. First of all, the service was above and beyond. The waiter and the bar tender did a lovely job of working together and collecting my tables order. Second, the food! I'm still drooling over it. I've never tasted such authentic Italian food. It was quite pricey but well worth it. They offered happy hour appetizers and beverages. The entire layout of the restaurant says classy but family oriented. This is a place perfect for a first date or dinner with the family. 100% would reccomend.
Patricia V — Google review
We randomly stopped in during lunch time since while we were shopping and immediately got a booth. Since it was a weekday, the place was fairly quiet and the service was fast. All of the staffs that we spoke to were very friendly and joked around with us. Since we've never been here before, the waitress explained the menus and provided recommendations for us (we thought about the sampler appetizer, but she recommended just the bruschetta because the sampler was "really large" for just 2 people). For those who appreciate goat cheese, I highly recommend the bruschetta with schrimp, very refreshing. My boyfriend got the steak and he said that it was very tender. I got the spaghetti with Johny's sausage, one of the best spaghetti dish I've ever had. Next time, I would like to try it with chicken or shrimp!

Don’t miss out on the delightful cookie dough chimichanga – it’s the sweet treat that rounds off your meal perfectly!
Amazing food, customer service is top notch, and the atmosphere will "WoW" that date you are taking here, also great size to bring your family, too! My waitress Kenzia is great, as well the entire waitstaff is on a whole another level! 😊 Don't just take my word for it. Come and check it out for yourself. 😏 Your future self, will thank you for it. 😎

First of all, going off our receipt, our server - ISIDRO, amazing!! He made sure our first visit was special. He is just a gem in the first place. The FOOD, my tortilla soup - this is what I want my tortilla soup to taste like! So bomb, I’ll be back for this. I went with Fajitas for my first visit, because I feel like you can’t go wrong there - the flavors were so delicious! I was full and didn’t want to leave any left on my plate! 🫢 But I took a few bites home. My family was very happy with their orders too - pictured but I don’t really know what it was because I was scarfing my food down. 😊

We ordered the Roja Sampler which came with taquitos, quesadillas and Nachos Tejanos. The food was flavorless and virtually inedible had it not been for the guacamole and sour cream. If you're looking for authentic Mexican, this is not the place for you. I will say that the Strawberry Margarita was great -would recommend that item.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST PLACE TO EAT!!! We stayed at a hotel near and went to a few restaurants, Rojas was phenomenal! From the drinks (Cabo Wabo Fresh Margaritas) and food, to a great experience with Enrique our server!!! Will most definitely recommend and come back to every single time my family and I visit Omaha! Just wow!!! Loved it! Thank you Enrique!

Took a family member there for lunch with the new subscriber's 20.00 off voucher. Wow. The restaurant is clean, huge, and beautiful. Our server, Malori S, was very sweet and helpful. She made some great recommendations. The margarita was perfect. The portions are generous and the food is outstanding. The restroom was pristine and huge. Will be going back!

I recently ordered takeout from Roja Mexican Grill (approximately $60 + tax). The order was prepared on time and packaged carefully. The taquitos were hot and delicious, while the tacos, queso, and sopapillas arrived warm rather than hot. I do wish those items had been hotter, as it would have elevated the overall experience. That said, the flavors were excellent, the portions were generous, and the quality was very good. I would certainly recommend Roja, particularly for dining in, where the food can be enjoyed at its freshest.

This has been our go-to place for Mexican food in West Omaha for many years. By this time, we have tried many of the menu items and we've never been disappointed. The flautas and chile rellenos are among our favorites. Outstanding staff throughout, and we particularly enjoy the service from Taka in the bar. He makes a very nice fresh margarita too!

Explored this gem of a place that Omaha has to offer to its residents and visitors. Just a breathtakingly beautiful lake with numerous trails and perfect spots to have a great outdoor experience. So well maintained and ample of shed and benches available to leisure around. This place has a soothing & peaceful vibe to it. People are kayaking, boating plus community grills are available too for use and a perfect place for kids to play around . With spring and nature at its full bloom this place is a must visit here in Omaha. I visited in the evening and I am going to come back again here.

Beautiful area, with lots of walking paths. People were bike riding, hiking, running and just strolling through the area. There's also a large slide 🛝 next door. Lots of different trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. We saw several different birds in the area too. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. There were also some people fishing there. Just a wonderful, serene park to go to if you just need to decompress or get your steps in. Nice way to see some of God's natural beauty here.

Le Voltaire French Restaurant is a chef-owned establishment in Omaha that has been serving traditional French cuisine and an extensive wine selection since 2001. The restaurant, now under new ownership, continues to offer classic French dishes alongside new flavors. Chef Cedric Fichepain creates these delectable meals in a charming and unpretentious atmosphere. The menu features favorites like Cassoulet de Tarbes, Bouillabaisse de Marseille, and Brie Josette.
My friend and I visited this place and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazingly delicious. I didn’t really understand much from the menu but my server helped me get there. The salad that came with my meal was awesome. The interior was cool. It’s a perfect place for couples.

My wife and I came down to Omaha from Sioux City, IA, for a date afternoon/evening a couple weekends ago. I made a reservation here for dinner, which I strongly recommend. Every detail from the bread and butter to the house red wine to the appetizer to the main courses to the dessert was executed exceptionally well. The restaurant employees were kind, fun to interact with, and knowledgeable. The dining environment was very relaxing and romantic, too. It was one of the most delicious meals and best dining experiences we've ever had, and we left feeling full and euphoric. We are very excited to dine here again soon!

We did the chef's tasting menu. Everything was delicious, with the crab cake and salmon being stand outs as especially tasty. The wine pairings went well with the dishes. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first time there but we'll definitely be back.

We started out with the Gratin De Fruits De Mer, which was warm and delicious. I had the duck confit and my spouse had Surlonge D'agneau, lamb sirloin. Duck can be tough, but this duck was so tender - the sign of a good chef! My spouse got a very generous portion of lamb, which was also cooked to perfection. After eating all that, plus the salad that was included with our meal, we were too full to try a dessert. Maybe next time! The server was friendly and attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We'll be back.

Le Voltaire is always terrific. The flavors are so thoughtful. The classic dishes are done beautifully and the specials are inventive and unique. The service is also top notch. You feel taken care of while dining there. The staff are warm and knowledgeable about what they are serving. They make it a great spot for special occasions, celebrations, but even make an ordinary date night feel special. In the winter we recommend the beef bourguignon and French onion soup. We recently went and their summer menu is amazing as well, they have all those classics but also great fresh summer flavors. We had a salmon with cucumber salad and the lamb with a blueberry and chimichurri. Everything was incredible!

Decided to go here instead of the crowded bar/grill next door. I was appreciative at first but the meals were EXCELLENT! I even saw the owner bring out a lamb burger. I asked him about it but told him I don't care much for lamb though. He said with the caramelized onions, Jam on a brioche bun it's heaven... When I said I'd pass he brought me one anyway! And said "let me try to change your mind." OMG!!! It was absolutely DEVINE!! We had such a nice waitress, great talk with the owner and over all great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place when we first moved to Omaha. This place has the freshest food and the best interesting flavor combinations. Only down side is that when ever my husband and I go we are always ignored by the main chef. He will come out and talk to other guests but avoid us.

We wandered into Dolce a couple months ago without a reservation -- we didn't think we needed one. Chef Anthony expressed his regret at being unable to seat us, he and asked us to please make a reservation and come back. Chef is very hands-on with his business. He understands quality food and quality service, and he made us feel like we were the center of his attention for the evening. We spent about three hours enjoying the five-course tasting menu, but the time flew by anticipating the next piece of edible art. The atmosphere was perfect as the lighting was soft, and while there was a positive buzz in the place, it was quiet enough to have a conversation comfortably. We highly recommend Dolce and will be returning.

The Mac and cheese was some of the best I had. I liked that it was more saucy. The flavor carried over very well. Soup of the day was a cauliflower infused with truffle. The mussel option for lunch was $11. Exceptionally generous portion of mussels. The chicken gnocchi option was fine. It was good, but the other items stood out more for me. Service was friendly and polite. Definitely would like to see the rest of their menu. Presentation is very nice. Altogether a lovely restaurant great for date nights. It has an intimate high class feel to it.

I've been to quite a few high-end restaurants and Dolce still holds the spot for my favorite meal ever. The chef's tasting menu was incredible. The chef came out, explained each dish, told us about the herbs and vegetables he grows in his own garden, and everything was beyond amazing. Great job.

We had a party of two to celebrate a job offer, and the service was outstanding. I had made a special request for a congratulations table setting, and I was so appreciative of their efforts. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We each did the Prix Fixe menu, trying an array of the items. We also added wine pairings and a few cocktails (Jameson & the Giant Peach was fabulous). Pictured are the Angus hanging tender, yuzu creme brulee, and chocolate cheesecake. It's true - they taste even better than they look. I highly recommend the Caesar salad as an option on the Prix Fixe too. We are excited to return for our special occasions.

There are some nice exhibits and gardens here; however, more maintenance is needed for much of the grounds. We liked the monument stones which detail past U.S. Presidents, Nebraska governors, etc.; nevertheless, they need to be updated for recent elections.

As someone who loves history and politics, I was really excited to visit the birthplace of President Gerald Ford! Unfortunately it's underwhelming. A hidden gem of Omaha- such a peaceful nature walk with well-maintained trails and interesting types of trees, shrubs, and flowers. It’s never too busy and is a great spot for family/couple photos or pet portraits. I saw a fox here once, it was so cool!

Some of the trails are paved and some are wood chips. Some are a little hilly, but not too extreme. There are educational boards throughout the trails that my kids love stopping and reading. There is a lot of shade and nature, but the sounds of the interstate can sometimes take away from that some.

The Omaha Community Playhouse is a Fun and easily accessible venue for local plays. I took my granddaughters to see Finding Nemo Jr. The seats were great and sound quality was excellent and the young actors were enthusiastic in their performances. We all enjoyed the hour long performance.

Great variety of shows here, there's something for everyone every season. Great live performances. They tend to have good sets and staging for their shows; there are two different stages inside the building.

We saw Grease on Friday night. The play was super. I've seen Grease several times at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater in Minnesota, and numerous times at various community theaters & high school musicals. This was my favorite rendition!! The actors who played Jan (Sophie Thomas) & Rizzo (Tatiana Sandoval) really were phenomenal. I have never seen either role played so well & with such conviction. A shout out to Shemar Toussaint!! He was the reason we came to this performance and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing him in his element.
Sonya — Google review
They should have advertised better how the grease show is not anything like grease. It is a spoof or parody and awful. It was not grease what so ever. I was so disappointed and cannot believe it was that expensive for such a horrible play that was absolutely nothing like the movie.

We had an amazing time and the staff was over the top for my cousin anf her family. They delt with the emotions of the family and they even accommodated when her body was to tired but still wanted to rock out to Today and Yesterday. Visitors praise the arena for its immaculate cleanliness and comfortable seating, with no bad views from any section. While some have noted issues with food quality and restroom maintenance, the staff are commended for their active cleaning efforts.
Our first concert at Baxter Arena was Sessanta 2.0 - amazing show and amazing concert experience here. Would definitely see another show/ event here.

It's a beautiful arena, but the bathrooms need to be more efficient. As in, I'm handicapped and had to walk all the way to the far end to wash my hands after using the toilet. It was bad enough I had to walk far just to get to a bathroom. Otherwise everything was great. We had the nicest usher left of the camera man in section 124 tonight at UNO Hockey.

Traveling from Montana for a hockey tournament, the ice was well maintained. Playing while the sun went down with all windows was NEW for us. The arena itself was clean and easily accessible. Parking was fine.

Our family has been to this arena for all types of events: hockey games, concerts, Olympic curling trials, etc… and always walk away feeling impressed. This arena is always immaculately clean. I’ve sat in both the upper section and the lower bowl, and there’s not a bad seat in the house. I’ve also had only positive and energetic interactions with the folks that work the ticket window. This includes buying tickets minutes before an event or stopping by midweek to purchase tickets for an event that is months out. Always a smile and a helpful attitude to whomever is behind the ticket window glass. We always look forward to an event at Baxter Arena.

The park features a 3.3-mile trail that includes an impressive bridge section, making it perfect for hiking and cycling. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as boating, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming in the scenic lake.
It was a nice day with hardly any wind. It was 36 degrees out. I did 3.70 mi 1h 6m it took me. I parked over by Hawk field. There is a dirt trail over to the concrete trail that goes around the lake. It's a very nice trail, well kept. There is a boat dock here, and you can fish. Nice views from the dam looking at the lake. On the other end of the lake their is a floating walk bridge across the lake. There were a lot of people here with dogs. I bet it is very nice here in the summer.

Nice and decent. It is usually regularly busy though with fishing and dog walkers kayaking hiking biking people on scooters. The fish aren't very big but the kids have a lot of fun. Catching little bluegil and baby bass. It's quiet and pretty well taken care of for the most part.

Nestled in the Council Bluffs area and Omaha metropolitan region, Lake Manawa State Park spans 1,529 acres of picturesque land. The park is centered around a tranquil 660-acre natural lake formed in 1881. It offers modern campgrounds and a range of outdoor activities such as hiking trails, swimming, boating, and fishing. Families can enjoy picnics at the shoreline's numerous picnic shelters or take advantage of the online park reservation system for added convenience.
I visited this state park the day after Thanksgiving, so it was cold and the beach was obviously closed, but this was still a great state park to experience. There were plenty of piers and other spots on the shore to fish from. The lake was a beautiful blue and clean water. There was a lot of birding activity going on. Plenty of parking. I'd love to visit again in the summer months.
B A — Google review
One of my favorite places to see the wildlife, but they've been taking down a lot of the trees that provide shelter/shade to everyone that uses the park. I just hope they will be planting more, hopefully the park doesn't start to like the concrete slab campground they put in. The old campground was so much better with grass and trees and nature in my opinion.
Amanda A — Google review
We parked in the RV park for 4 nights in site 36. A beautiful water view site facing West. The RV park at Lake Manawa State Park has full-hookup sites with flat, level concrete pads and patios that make setting up easy. Many of the sites open up to pretty water views where you can catch both sunrise and sunset over the lake. The campground has clean bathrooms and showers, plus a dump station, and it’s close to the “Big Dream” Playground that’s perfect for kids. Each site comes with a picnic table and fire ring, and the gated entry keeps things quiet and secure.
Debra W — Google review
Cool place. This lake has a lot of trees so you can find shade anywhere. One thing I will say is that the road is narrow and the right side when you are coming in had huge chunks of the road gone or rutted out, be careful, one little slip to the right edge and your vehicle will be damaged. The grass was mowed nicely and there were a lot of people fishing around the entire late.
Anita S — Google review
I really enjoyed my experience at Lake Manawa. If you are not a resident ir have a park pass you have to stop at the parking lot where you get an envelope, fill it out, put $5.00 in it. Seal it drop it in the drop box. I was there with my Plein- air group. Here are some photos and my painting.
Joy B — Google review
I came here for a kid's birthday party. They had rented out one of the shelters. It was very nice. Clean, well-landscaped. The signage made it easy to find the shelter I was looking for, and parking was close by and plentiful (even with the shelters on either side of us also being used). It's also a nice little drive around the lake on your way to the shelters. I would definitely come back.
Katie T — Google review
Beautiful, well-maintained state park right on Lake Manawa. Very clean, large sites and very quiet in the fall
Kari C — Google review
The park is very clean and has nice cement pads that are nicely spaced. But there's no shade, no trees. And you better keep the gate code with you or you're not getting in. I use the restrooms, but it looks like very small. Its dog friendly but some aren't keeping their dogs on a lease or picking up after them. The park is probably more for those who want to use the lake with boats. Which by the way has got a real issue with the greenery growing and taking over.

Great place to hike. Walked the entire 7.2 mile trail. Next time I will hike the grass trails. They are so beautiful. One of the nice things about this trail is no traffic noise for the most part. And security rides the trail in case someone has problems or needs water.

We really enjoyed this park. The camp host and workers in this park are very clean. This park is spotless...the views of the lake and the grounds are well cared for. Our camp host was very friendly. We reserved online and when we got here we went to our space and the camp host came to us to check us in. What a seemless way for travelers that are tired and just want to get set up and relax. Just FYI site 62 is beautiful lake view from the living room of RV. All sites here are cement pad and the East C section is full hook up. If we ever get the chance to travel this way again we will definitely reserve a spot here. Thank you for the beauty of this state and COE for keeping these places for the people. ♥️

Kayaking out here was fun, spent a leisurely afternoon out on the water keeping fairly close to the shoreline. Had a good time! There is a little campground in the marina cove, it looks perfect for a weekend staycation. I did not camp but am curious to come back and try it. Con: no options to stop and use a restroom around the lake really, that my group noted. Other lakes seemed to have more spots to take a break. This only offered a portapotty at the boat dock. Weird: there were dead deer in the water, one near the bridge and another in a cove. They were halfway out, close to shore. Not sure what happened, but concerned about why they both died at the edge of the water.

The Orpheum Theater, a historic venue dating back to 1927, is an ornate building that hosts a variety of events in Omaha. It collaborates with the Holland Performing Arts Center to bring traveling Broadway productions, music, dance, and outdoor programming to the city. The theater also supports local theaters that produce excellent shows based on scripts created by local writers. Additionally, it is home to the country's largest community playhouse.
The Orpheum theater is beautiful. Its interior is gorgeous and the sound is perfect. Each chair is comfortable and it is designed so that everyone is able to see the stage. I am handicapped and was treated with such kindness and care down to the individual help to my seat and help with my coat. It was easy to attend and my experience was wonderful. The show was incredible and my husband and I will definitely be returning to the Orpheum again. The staff made my experience extraordinary thank you so very much.

Nice venue, had great seats. Only upside is the rows are very "thin" per say and if you are what they consider a bigger individual. The seats are very narrow and not much leg room except if you're on the end and can stretch out your legs! Pics are from "Hadestown" and Spring Bling 402

Review of Penn & Teller – Omaha, August 14th I attended the Penn & Teller show at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha on August 14th, and I left feeling extremely disappointed—not just for myself, but for the five friends I brought along. The show was underwhelming from the start. Rather than presenting the world-class magic they are known for in Las Vegas, most of the material consisted of tricks you could purchase in a magic shop. The same mentalism effect was repeated four different times with only slight variations, giving the impression of filler rather than creativity. Teller, once known for his sharp presence and artistry, now seemed tired and out of shape. Penn, on the other hand, spent much of the 90-minute show talking his way through weak routines, offering more chatter than magic. His constant use of the phrase “Jesus Christ,” along with several pointed, mocking biblical references, felt mean-spirited and disrespectful toward Christians in the audience. Instead of clever satire, it came across as vindictive. Even the so-called “grand finale” was a letdown—a video replay of the very show we had just watched, only run in reverse, while Penn played the drums. For performers with a combined net worth of over $400 million, this level of production felt cheap, uninspired, and insulting. At best, the show looked like it cost a few thousand dollars to throw together, and at worst, it came off as nothing more than a blatant money grab. Doing simple card tricks in front of a sold-out theater audience was another clear signal that Penn & Teller were not bringing their A-game to Omaha. None of the material was from their Las Vegas repertoire, making it obvious they weren’t “practicing in their own backyard” but instead testing weak filler content on Midwestern audiences, as though we wouldn’t notice or care. To be fair, I do respect Teller’s generosity in donating the Abbott House to the Omaha Magic Society, which shows his love for magic and the community. Unfortunately, that goodwill doesn’t carry over into the current stage act with Penn Jillette. In short, the performance was a slap in the face to long-time fans and new audiences alike. Penn & Teller appear to be coasting on past fame rather than delivering the quality that once made them leaders in magic and entertainment. I regret spending the money on tickets—not just for myself, but for the friends I invited. This show was nothing more than a bad joke on the public. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

There's such a wide range of products here. I always enjoy browsing. In the basket area, there were some containers meant for laundry items like soap and lint, and when I opened one, there was something inside (I can only assume that an inconsiderate customer had left it there) that had leaked onto the shelf. It was sticky and moldy. I got a little on my hands. I asked a cashier for some hand sanitizer and she helped me find some. I was so thankful!

I really wanted to like this store but it’s so so. It’s fairly expensive for things and usually the aisles are normally full of things making the aisles really hard to take a car through. The rug aisle is always a mess every time. Including where they have dressers and end tables and night stands. They do offer a lot of items you would see on tik tok so that was a plus ! And they do have a lot of nick nacks . The store is usually full of things. I’m just not a fan of the prices. As it’s basically around homegoods prices but higher.

Want some wall decor, candles, clocks, or maybe a new pillow for your bedroom? At Home has you covered. The line getting through the checkout wasn't too terrible to wait out. The construction going on has shopping carts randomly drifting throughout the parking lot, but that's just lazy people... not the store's fault. Admittedly, it not the most reverent, beautiful venue. It’s not Carnegie Hall or anything. But the acoustics are outstanding. I stood in line for the Hamilton tickets sale on one of the hottest days of the year. The staff at Omaha Performing Arts figured everything out to make it as easy and pleasant as possible to navigate the huge sea of ticket buyers. They gave me a wristband and a clipboard with a form for the ticket options: dates, times, seat locations, costs, etc so I could pre-plan my purchase. Then I waited in the shade at tables and chairs which were set up for the buyers where they provided cold water to drink. I never actually got in line until my wristband number was called, and then it took about 45 minutes to go through the account verification/creation process and purchase my tickets. I was the 290th box office ticket buyer while there were 20,000 buyers waiting online, and it took me about an hour and a half to get Hamilton tickets. Good seats at that.

Summary: overpriced movie tickets with poor seating (other than top rows). We came here for date night. The ticket usher greeted us promptly, and gave us our tickets as well. We then went to the concession stand, where we bought, popcorn, and two soft drinks. All the staff members were very nice. We were escorted to our theater, and sat down. The theatre had limited number of seats (less than 50). aside from the top rows, most of the seats had poor angles. The sound was also a bit too loud. We understand that this is boutique theater, but given the ticket prices, and the seating options, other theatres would offer a more enjoyable experience. Aside from the theater, the restaurant is nice to visit. Overall, we recommend other theaters.

We went to see the dead don't die in the main theatre at 7pm, but the bulb in the projector broke. They decided to have an additional showing in the micro theatre at 9:30, but many weren't happy. They gave us the option to refund our tickets too. Although the mishap happened, I love what the place stands for and supporting art. Very cute place too.

Visiting Downtown Omaha Massage is a wonderful option for those seeking a romantic experience in Omaha. You can partake in a couples massage, which offers ultimate relaxation and allows you to unwind alongside your partner. The ambiance at Omaha Massage and Healing Arts is delightful, creating a perfect setting for various activities following the massage session. Their skilled masseuses, such as Sophie, ensure effective communication to ensure the right pressure is applied during deep tissue massages.
A month ago I had a Himalayan salt massage here which was lovely. More recently, I had a deep tissue massage with Rachel. I have a lot of pain in my upper back and this provided soooo much relief — thank you! Very friendly and calming environment.

Had my first spa day with Venus and I feel absolutely amazing. It felt like she had 4 hands and the strength of an industrial hydraulic press (which I greatly needed for my upper back/neck pain). I could easily tell Venus was educated and skilled in her profession. She explained what I needed to do clearly and gave me plenty of time and space between each session so I could get comfortable. I feel so light and loose. Already have my next massage booked.

Definitely thought I was getting scammed when I received a gift card. Turns out awesome people doing their job helping those to revert or reset their muscle tissue or mental status and helping us cope with life. Shout out to Kaitlyn for doing an excellent massage session. Focused on problem areas I had and made me feel comfortable despite my reserves.

Venus provided a positively amazing massage. Just the right amount of pressure, shrouded in a very gentle touch. She is a delightful person and I will certainly schedule my upcoming appointments with her.

The space was very comfortable and clean. Venus did a phenomenal job and checked in every now and then to ensure I was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend Omaha Massage and Healing Arts!

I really enjoyed my time at Omaha Massage and Wellness, my only issue likely being my own fault. In the past, I have had salt scrubs in Turkey and Australia and they were truly exfoliating SCRUBS. This salt glow process was a gentle application of salt scrubs to the body and then a sauna suit wrap. My mistake. Still a nice relaxing treatment.

First time ever getting a massage, I picked the deep tissue massage becouse my back has bin hurting. Wow Wow Wow great I feel great after I will be coming back, one thing I really liked was on my back ribs she massaged them like from the spine to my side omg that's felt amazing. Thanks Rachel

Nestled in a vibrant setting, Boulder Creek Amusement Park is the ultimate destination for sports enthusiasts of all ages. This seasonal gem features two enchanting miniature golf courses adorned with picturesque waterfalls and winding streams that promise a delightful experience. For those looking to hone their skills, the park boasts eight impressive batting cages, each towering at 35 feet high and stretching 93 feet deep—perfect for aspiring sluggers! Adventure seekers can also tackle the exhilarating 24-foot Mt.
Had so much fun! My husband's work company had a picnic there today and we were able to get tickets and joined the fun day event...our son and his friend love the batting cage.

This has been my home base since I was a kid, and the atmosphere is full of nostalgia. Many birthdays were spent here. Not much has changed in the last 18 years—and honestly, that’s part of the charm. The layout is inviting, and the mini putt course is hands down the best in Omaha. The customer service makes you feel well taken care of and keeps you coming back. While the place could use a bit of TLC to meet 2025 standards, it still delivers a great experience. I’ve tried other batting cages and mini putt courses in the area, but this is the only one that feels right. I highly recommend giving it a try. Makes for a perfect date night spot.
Shannon D — Google review
We had such a great time! My 8 and 4 year old absolutely loved it. The course is a little challenging, but that made it even more fun for all of us. You really can’t beat the price—perfect little afternoon getaway with the kids. We’ll definitely be back!
Sierra Y — Google review
Boulder Creek Amusement Park is less “park” and more “archaeological dig site.” The signs promising “new greens this week” have clearly been here since the Clinton administration, and the batting cages are closed due to “storm damage.” (Sure—if by storm they mean a prehistoric pterodactyl attack.) It’s definitely no Prehistoric Putt—though it is on the verge of extinction. The turf is tired, the vibe is chaotic, and at one point the (owner? manager?) was casually using a heat gun to re-laminate the countertop like it was just part of the show. Truly, all amusement, no park. But here’s the thing: it’s cheap, you can play as long as you want, and we laughed so hard we nearly fell into the water hazards. So while the greens may be extinct, our fun was very much alive. Would 100% recommend if you enjoy affordable chaos, prehistoric vibes, and the thrill of wondering whether the turf will affect your ball trajectory or your skill level.
Kat S — Google review
This course has not been kept up at all. Absolutely no landscaping has been done in at least 6 months, last years leaves were still covering the ground and the water ways were all empty. Many greens were either missing green turf all together or it was torn up or it was bunched up causing ripples in the ground. Cut trees were just left leaning against the fence. Not pretty at all, and impossible to get a fair score with the roughed up turf.

This web site would not allow me anything less than one star. Had to call the cops and filed federal charges against this company for not allowing me and my service dog. The guy claimed he's a manger and was rude as he'll. then all he'll refused to look at the dogs paperwork. If you want to be disrespected then use this business.. for being a ex military I have never been his disrespected. I can not belive this guy has a job anywhere .

The course was a mix between Radiator Springs (pre-Lightning McQueen putting it back on the map) and Shrek's Swamp. Bring your own bug spray and greens roller if you have it.

The Approach Climbing Gym has a huge wall area for climbers of all levels to explore, making it a great place to stay active while spending time with your partner.
I unfortunately only got to come here once during a business trip, but it is a great gym. Rope, autobelay and bouldering. One of the best kids areas I've seen. Like the chairs made out of crash pads. I agreed with the grading levels. I always like gyns that do a tbd for a minute, had plenty available. Slabs had lot of traversey, technical options. They also have a little top out area on part of it. Autobelay rputes were great - loved a few mystery ones. The walls are short because of the building height but just means you have to climb more! I had previously strained some pulleys so I had to take it easy, but I really liked the environment here. A few puppers laying around, relaxed people, kids enjoying an actual equipped kids area. I highly recommend. A humble and friendly place.

I put my account on freeze a few months ago. My card was stolen so I canceled it. I forgot about the freeze until I saw that a denied charge tried to come through on my account. I went in 11 or 12 days ago and filled out the form to cancel the membership completely. Today I get a denied charge request for the full membership this month plus late fees plus the freeze amount. Im ok paying the frozen amount that was denied but I shouldn't have to pay for the full month this month. I called, and said I shouldn't have to pay for the full month but the response was "you signed a membership". Be careful, they have you freeze your account then you forget a bout it and boom, charge you full amount. Almost like they want you to forget about the freeze, interesting. Then, after or conversation they conviently emailed me the contract, very professional.
Joe J — Google review
I’d really rate this 4.5 stars. The instructors and feel of the place is mostly welcoming. There’s probably some more things they could do to make it more sociable, and interactive. For one, they could have a few more auto-belay courses. Of course, I couldn’t participate in half of the activities here because part of it was closed down due to an upcoming tournament. Also, I swear this place is bigger on the inside. Seriously.
Viral P — Google review
Unfortunately, every time I am in town and visit this place, the setting is worse than the last. Probably the only gym I've gone to that has never evolved over the years and instead kept going downhill. If you're an actual climber, you can tell that the setters have zero to little experience outside of this gym. This place needs help real bad with the setting. But, when in Omaha, beggars can't be choosers. Hope this place finds better and experienced setters.
George S — Google review
Came here for a visit while I was in town on business. Google says this is the premier climbing gym in Omaha... highly disagree. First of all, they advertised having 12 auto-belay lanes for solo climbing, and they only had... maybe six? The building they are in isn't very tall, so all tall routes are only maybe 15-20 feet tall at most. They're more like advanced Boulder problems than proper tall routes. Routes are color graded, which is fine, but took a little getting used to. I showed up at 7, and the employee at the front desk made sure to tell me multiple times that they closed at 8, so "are you sure you wanna climb?" After getting the safety brief I was released to do my thing. At approximately 755, I finished and started removing gear to leave. Right at 8, a number of people were showing up and putting on harnesses and just starting their climbs. So wait, you close at 8, but only for me? No clue what that was all about. I did not use the bouldering area, so I can't comment on that side. Seemed okay though. Overall, pretty unimpressed. I thought that being on a time crunch would make it so I would have to rush through climbs, but with so little to climb by myself, I ran out of routes in maybe 30 minutes. Will not be coming back.
Wayne G — Google review
Went last night with my son and brother in law. We had a blast! The staff was friendly and took us through orientation quickly and safely. We divided up our time between bouldering (no harness, not as tall walls) and climbing with one of the eight auto-belays (strapped into a harness, taller walls, if you fall off, the belay device stops your fall and slowly lowers you down.) A good mix of people were there, from climbing enthusiasts, families, and couples on dates. Everyone was supportive and respectful of each other's place on the wall, with people cheering others on when they progressed up a difficult route. While I'm a little sore today, I had a great time and will definitely be back.

Hard to believe but I’m giving someone all 5 stars. The people were awesome, facilities clean and they had everything you need to bring a toddler and novice man to rock climb. Looked like everyone in there was having fun, good vibe with a positive atmosphere.

Zorinsky Lake was created in the early 1980s by impounding Boxelder Creek, a tributary of South Papillion Creek. The dam was completed in July 1984, transforming the agricultural area into a recreational haven. Covering over 255 acres, the lake offers modern playgrounds, sports fields for baseball, soccer, and football, as well as hiking and biking trails.
We love the entrance by the pool, to go all the way to the lake. They have 3 little islands with picnic tables that we love to take the dogs to play fetch in the water. Sometimes too busy, but overall we love the nature/facilites/etc.
Lisse B — Google review
WOW!! This lake is gorgeous and has a fantastic trail! I love biking here all the time. It is definitely my go-to trail for biking. They recently improved the trail going under the bridge, which was much needed. That part is great now. I will say that some of the trail on the West half is quite bumpy due to tree roots. All the bathrooms work and are clean enough for a quick stop. Also, there is always a chance to see some deer or turkey here! Overall, this lake is a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it.
Trevor H — Google review
Beautiful scenery, good company, multitude of entertainment and amenities. Highly recommended to family friends and all park goers. Well kept, cleanly, multiple entry access points, can be slightly confusing, a nice soccer complex. Great for biking, roller blading, hiking, kayaking, fishing, sight seeing, and many more. If your looking for a good gathering place they have picnic tables, community charcoal grills, over head picnic tables, reservations as well if wanted/needed. Check it out for yourself!
Living C — Google review
From the moment you crest the hill off 168th Street, Lake Zorinsky reveals itself in all its mythic glory—an aquatic diamond set amidst the Nebraska plains. Its 255 shimmering acres of crystal-clear water could well be the reincarnation of Loch Ness, if Ness had been styled by Renaissance painters. This place is literally miracle-land: birds (including bald eagles and blue herons), deer, and even coyotes roam the 770-acre park like a wildlife beehive buzzing with nature’s applause. Trails? Oh, the trails! A paved, near-magical 7.4-mile loop circumnavigates the lake, offering panoramic views so stunning that tourists reportedly weep with joy. Sunsets so dramatic they’d give Broadway a standing ovation—the sky bleeds pinks, purples, golds reflected in glass‑smooth water . Fishing is borderline legendary—local lore claims gigantic walleye are still hiding in the depths, waiting for the next hero with a rod. Boating? Try floating on calm water so serene you can meditate mid-lake and emerge enlightened. Canoes, kayaks, paddleboards—all gliding in perfect harmony under the no-wake rule . Families flock to its two playgrounds, ball fields, picnic shelters (with grills!), and vast grassy expanses like pilgrims on a holiday. It’s as if Disneyland merged with Yosemite and then upgraded to 11. Even winter gets a Hollywood makeover: ice-fishing, cross‑country skiing, sledding—all conducted on frosted perfection. It’s like Elsa herself installed weather control . All told, Lake Zorinsky isn’t just a lake—it’s Nebraska’s premier natural cathedral, a sanctuary, a mythical oasis that the pyramids are jealous of.

One of Omaha's best places, this lake is a gorgeous refuge in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle. Choose between the long side (fewer trees and two playground areas), the short side or stay on the path and take them both! Deer, birds, plenty of people on the walking path. This place is great, rain or shine!

I'm horrible with remembering names and cant remember who taught the class that day, but she was very good and had nothing but positive things to say to everyone and was very easy to follow. Thanks for the special memory I was able to share with my daughter, niece and nephew 💙🩷🩷. We'll be back (soon I hope)!

My husband took me on a date here & I had so much fun. It's not something that he would usually do but kid was gone and this event was new, spontaneous, and a fresh start for us. We laughed & were relaxed & our teacher was amazing at helping everyone that needed assistance. They serve liquor & it's optional rather or not you would like to drink. It was a couple of hours. I'm not sure how much it was because my husband paid for it. It was roughly 12 couples and everyone was really friendly. I couldn't wait to get home to show our paintings off! My personal opinion but most men usually seem to feel a little better when they see other men participating.

One of my favorite places in the Omaha metro. The wait staff is always polite and knowledgeable on the current menu. My favorite dish is the Steak Puttanesca. Can't go wrong with a drink, appetizer and main dish meal.
Lee V — Google review
Good food, I would return for that. It was surprisingly good. Service was pretty good at first, then tapered off to not so good. Had send a drink back, first one was great, second one tasted nothing like it and it's replacement was sub par. The whole process took way too long. She tried to pass it off as too strong, no chance. Cotton candy at the end is weird, we felt obligated to take something we had no interest in.

If you like techno music and poor service this establishment is for you. Our waitress came around once every 20 minutes. We received our appetizers prior to our first drink. We had a reservation for 7:30 and we were not seated until 7:45. Every time someone walked in, the front desk told customers it would be a five minute wait, even though it was not. It took 20 minutes for the waitstaff to clean up broken glass by our table. All their reviews on here are obviously fake. The only positive was the waitress was nice and trying, but she had way too many tables to wait on. The menu is written in Italian and English, with no rhyme or reason for the placement of Italian words. The food was over priced for mediocre taste and skimpy portions. I will never return to this restaurant.

I was greeted at the door by a waitress who was in a great mood. She was charming and made me feel welcome. She let us know that the hostess was seating other people, and would be with us shortly. My server was Darcy who was very professional, and helpful with the menu. I'm from St Louis, and I'm in town on business. The pizza we had was great, as was the goat cheese fried Rangoon appetizer. Everything went well, and I would recommend this place for a great casual dining restaurant. Darcy was very personable, and made dining in a new city a fun experience.

The atmosphere and service is always excellent. Salt88 is owned by the same owner as the Hiro chain and it seems like they train their staff really well. The food is great for the price, it's not high end food, but then its not really expensive either. If anything I think they could provide more options on the menu. The Marsala pizza was offered during restaurant week but cannot be ordered normally (as an example).

Located in La Vista, the Float District offers a range of therapeutic experiences including cold plunges, full-spectrum saunas, salt therapy, and vibroacoustic therapy. The latter involves a liquid sound table that transmits sound waves through the body to provide various benefits such as reduced anxiety, stress, nausea, fatigue, and pain. Visitors have praised the knowledgeable and friendly staff as well as the private and comfortable float tanks with individual showers.
Tried the floating experience for the first time! 60-min session was a bit surreal. Complete darkness with ear plugs in made it super easy to zone out and simply be present. Fell asleep a couple of times! Water was 96 degrees and there was so much epsom salt that I was able to easily float at the surface. From someone that naturally sinks in water and never really gets to float, it was a pretty cool experience. I was able to completely relax all my muscles and enjoy the hour, which went by surprisingly fast. Next time I’ll check out the IR saunas!

Also the employees are awesome and on point, especially Kelly that works in the mornings!! The reward program is also awesome!! Pretty much just an awesome place n the only place I would recommend in Omaha when it comes to gas, pop, goodies, and great customer service. Thanks again Kum & go on 72nd pacific!!

Recreation center
Sunset Water Park in Nebraska offers a picturesque setting for romantic moments, with its stunning sunset views providing the perfect backdrop for special occasions. The park is also a great spot for families to enjoy quality time together, offering various activities and amenities that cater to both kids and adults. While the basketball courts may need some renovation, the overall atmosphere of the park provides a pleasant environment for visitors to relax and have fun.
Sunset park is a nice park however the city needs to renovate the basketball courts before people get injured on it, more sport less crime...

Provisions by The Grey Plume is a sophisticated dining spot in Omaha's Midtown Crossing, known for its warm hospitality and innovative contemporary cuisine. Chef-owner Clayton Chapman emphasizes a seasonal, community-driven approach by collaborating with local farmers for ingredients and local artists for dishware. The menu changes frequently but features standout dishes like the Whole Roasted Blue Valley Steelhead Trout with creme fraiche spatzle.
Provisions is the sister business to tje fabulous Grey Plume. The small store offers the restaurant's delicious condiments and charcuterie, has a private dining space, and offers cooking classes. Prices are surprisingly reasonable consideringvthe quality of the goods.
