Cocktail bar
New American restaurant
Wine bar
Mercury is a stylish bar and kitchen with a retro feel, serving craft cocktails, wine, beer, and modern American cuisine. It combines the comfort of a cozy dive bar with a contemporary twist. The menu features updated 60s-era small bites and an affordable wine list. The bar offers an extensive selection of over 350 labels, carefully curated wines, and seasonal cocktails. Known for its swanky atmosphere and friendly staff, Mercury is popular for its innovative bites and quirky drinks.
If you’re looking to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit while enjoying fantastic cocktails, this Christmas-themed bar in downtown Omaha is a must-visit. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere oozes festive charm—think twinkling lights, cozy garlands, and whimsical decorations that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a winter wonderland. The entire space is beautifully decked out in holiday cheer, setting the perfect mood for sipping seasonal drinks. The service here is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and truly knowledgeable about the menu. One standout is their Old Fashioned, which is hands down one of the best I’ve had. The balance of flavors is impeccable, with just the right amount of sweetness, spice, and a smooth finish that makes each sip a joy. It’s clear that the bartenders here have a real passion for their craft. Beyond the Old Fashioned, their holiday-inspired cocktails are a treat for the taste buds—expect innovative twists on classic drinks, as well as some entirely new concoctions that incorporate seasonal ingredients like cinnamon, cranberry, and nutmeg. Whether you're in the mood to cozy up by the fire with an Old Fashioned or want to try something new and festive, this bar offers a magical escape into Christmas cheer with excellent drinks and top-notch service. It’s the perfect spot to get into the holiday spirit and make some unforgettable memories with friends. Highly recommend!

I wandered in for a drink on a Sunday afternoon, having no idea how fabulous this place is. From the giant cured blocks of ice, the insane bourbon selection, the crazy good service to the creative and inventive Pokémon cocktail menu this place does not disappoint. The adorable female bartender is so knowledgeable and patient with the inevitable questions that come with the complex menu. Highly recommend!!
Shelley D — Google review
We wanted to try some unique cocktails, and this place did not disappoint. The appetizers we ordered perfectly complemented the drinks. The service was fantastic—energetic and attentive. Overall, this lively and fun cocktail bar in the downtown area is a must-try!

Really cool place. We came into town last night and were looking for a place to eat and enjoy a good cocktail. Man were we pleasantly surprised we stumbled into this gem. Our bartender was amazing and she made us a mean Old Fashioned with Redemption Rye. There were only 4 menu items available. We did come in the last hour they were open. But both items were good. The buffalo chicken dip and the charcuterie board were just what we needed to go with our Old Fashioned. But it gets better! They have a Pokémon-themed menu. I believe they do different themes every month. This was so cool. Definitely glad we stumbled in here! The service and ambiance were great! Please stop in if you are in this part of town!
Jose S — Google review
Only problem I had was the kitchen closed before I got here at 10:30 pm everything else was great the pics I posted only showed a fraction of there huge selection of alcohol wow. There's so many different types of alcohol the bartender has to get on a stool to reach them all. I had an old fashion it was great. Will come here again hopefully when the kitchen is open
Gary W — Google review
Excellent old fashioned. If you enjoy cocktails, definitely check this place out, tons of different liquors. I didn't eat, just had drinks.
Joshua W — Google review
Summer strolling through Omaha led us straight to this absolute gem. We spotted the rainbow “All Are Welcome Here” sticker on the door and knew instantly—this was our kind of spot. 🌈💫 Inside, we were greeted by two lovely bartenders who glowed with good vibes and walked us through their Pride drink menu (lucky us—it was the final week!). And then—hold onto your Poké Balls—the pièce de résistance… THE POKÉMON DRINK MENU. 🧃✨ Each drink is its own character, with the option to evolve. Yes, evolve. I wanted to catch them ALL, people! 😂🔥 We wrapped the night sipping on Lewis Hamilton’s alcohol-free tequila (because balance!) and swapping stories with the crew behind the bar. Mercury is magic. Inclusive, inventive, and full of sparkle. 10/10 would thunderbolt back again ⚡💛

Excellent food and service. One of the best gin and tonics I've ever had. House made tonic. The pasta dishes have house made pasta and are scrumptious. If they have the Tres Leches offered for dessert, get it. Not overly drenched and a very nice version of a great dessert. Fia was an excellent server.

Bar
Nestled in the Old Market district of Omaha, The Berry & Rye is a renowned cocktail bar with a retro-chic ambiance. Despite its relatively recent establishment, it has become a classic craft cocktail destination. The bar is set to undergo remodeling, potentially elevating its status even further. If you're in downtown Omaha and looking for a cocktail experience that stands out, this eclectic bar is a must-visit. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere hits you with its vibrant mix of vintage charm and modern flair. May 3rd, 2025 So happy we chose here for our after dinner spot for the night. What a beautiful lounge with comfortable seating, fabulous cocktails (ordered the Lavender Blue & Yukon Gold), good music. Very classy yet not stuffy, it’s very enjoyable to just hangout here all night. I recommend you’ll thank me 🥰

Amazing cocktails and great vibes! The place was so cool and stylish and the bartenders were very welcoming. 100% coming back again next time I’m in Omaha.

No food but nice place great drinks. This is a upscale place to drink at. Had to update my review. You can get a good choice of beer and most whiskey.so much whiskey it's 5 kevels. Look at the bartender climbing the ladder to get bottle!!!!!!!!!! Lots of quality drink here!
Gary W — Google review
This is the best bar in Omaha, which makes it the best bar in an approximate 600 mile radius. All the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable, to the extent that they all have their own custom cocktails on the menu. I have never had a more personable experience in the service industry, either. I could come here on any given day and find something here or even in myself that I didn't have the day before. Whether you're just passing through or finding a spot in the area to roost, this is it. Much love to all the people who make this place happen. Keep on doing you, it's flawless.
Max B — Google review
This is a nice bar with deliciously boozy drinks. There is no kitchen, but there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. It seemed like our group's server was always around when I wanted her and brought the drinks out fast. The layout was great for our group and facilitated conversations. And it was easy to pay my portion of the check at the end.
Mike S — Google review
During our most recent visits to Omaha, we set out as usual to research and visit any potential stand out craft cocktail bars. My searches led us to a few places including The Berry & Rye. Our conclusion? The Berry & Rye was the most unique and exceptional craft cocktail bar we visited. It had a true unique and independent vibe, The decor was posh, swank and vibrantly eclectic and classy, the mixologist was super cool and chill, welcoming and hospitable, and talented and independently innovative. We enjoyed our craft cocktails; and then I enjoyed a pour of my favorite Italian digestíf (Braulio) afterwards.
James C — Google review
One of my favorite cocktail lounges. Everyone I have taken there has loved it! I love how they change up the menu regularly, but leaves some of the classics. Their cocktails are well crafted, I may have only disliked 1 out of the many drinks I have tried. Our servers have always been great, they check on us multiple times and are very sweet. The ambience is delightful, it’s not loud in there which makes for a great spot to sit and chat with friends.

Bar
Nite Owl is a vintage-style eatery offering wings, burgers, and vegetarian options in a unique setting. The interior resembles a college bachelor's house with dark and quirky decor, including one-of-a-kind artwork and a large TV playing cult classic '80s movies. The atmosphere is comfortable and affordable, reminiscent of hanging out in your grandparents' basement but with better drink options. The small patio provides an exclusive and cozy vibe that can put a smile on anyone's face.
We were looking for an off-the-beaten-path place to grab dinner and drinks while catching up with friends, and we came across this spot online. I'm so glad we gave it a try—it was awesome! The food was absolutely delicious, and their happy hour menu is fantastic. The service was great, though the lines at the bar can get a bit backed up, so patience is key. I’d definitely recommend this place whether you’re in the mood for great food or a good drink.
Andrew M — Google review
Enjoy my experience every time I have been here - but this time I’m writing a review because Taylor was absolutely phenomenal, he answered all of our questions and provided a very personable experience. He often seemed to be doing different things at once and all the while still going above and beyond for us! Probably one of the coolest and kindest servers ever, you can tell he really loves his job. Taylor needs a promotion and pay raise yesterday! Thank you for making our casual date night feel all the more special. Immaculate vibes.
Feilan R — Google review
Nice bar, I’ve been a couple times. The cocktails are really good. Haven’t tried much of the food, but my guest snacked on a BIRDHOUSE BAO which she enjoyed. Bartenders are chill. I’m not a fan of the furnishing. They have an outdoor area too. I do recommend giving this place a try.
Jarodd B — Google review
Sweet dive with a sunken in bar and comfy lounge chairs. Friendly staff with a a fun creative cocktail list. A definite must visit if you’re wondering the many bars on the street.
Chad Y — Google review
This was honestly so unexpected. Nite Owl seemed like a pretty unique cocktail joint, but this food was exceptional! The cauliflower wings were perfectly fried with an amazing Korean BBQ sauce and simply look at this bao bun. This place was a whole vibe. They have well-crafted cocktails, dim lighting, and such a unique aesthetic. Come for the chill atmosphere and stick around for the great drinks and food. Honestly, the only reason it didn’t get the fifth star is because the lighting was a little too dim for my liking and it was so loud in there we could hardly hear the people across the table from us. Maybe it was the acoustics of the room or maybe it was the amount of people. Not sure, but other than those small picky things, make sure it’s on your list. Next time you are in the Blackstone District!!
Alex W — Google review
I’ve had amazing food here (years ago) but on this nite we had espresso martinis. Did not enjoy it. Definitely had orange zest in it and that’s def not my thing. But the vibe there is always great!!

Bar
Wicked Rabbit is a hidden gem in Omaha, located behind a small shop facade. This speakeasy-style bar offers an immersive experience with its vintage decor and attentive staff. The dimly lit, swanky atmosphere and leather seating create a classy yet mysterious ambiance. The cocktail menu goes beyond the traditional bar experience, featuring classic concoctions with a twist and inventive creations.
Genuinely one of the best bars I have ever been to. Compact space, so no overcrowding. Speakeasy cool without being cliche. Abby and Michael are the most phenomenal hosts. We had the best time with the best service and arguably the best drinks in town. You can’t go wrong with a Pink Pony Club! 15/10 recommend.
Cara C — Google review
This awesome little speak easy is hidden so well behind a small liquor store. You would literally have no clue it is there. A shelf full of liquor bottles opens up into this epics place. A fun stop and a classy place with excellent service and some very fancy options. They make some amazing drinks, but do it in a very fun way! Definitely expect fancy and even one of a kind concoctions. Very comfortable leather type seating. When you finish your drinks you slip out the back into a well lit alley. Definitely worth the stop!!!
Ovfdfireman — Google review
Wicked Rabbit in Omaha is hands down one of the coolest cocktail spots I’ve been to. I took three of my coworkers here, and the entire experience felt like we stepped into a hidden gem. From the secretive entrance to the moody, speakeasy style atmosphere, it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel like you’re in on something special. I had the Old Fashioned Smoking Jacket, and it was phenomenal perfectly balanced, smooth, and served with just the right touch of flair. You can tell the bartenders here take their craft seriously; every drink that came to our table looked and tasted amazing. Between the atmosphere, the presentation, and the quality of the cocktails, Wicked Rabbit is an easy 5 star spot. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Omaha.

This place was so AWESOME! We had such a great time, and the drinks were the best I'd ever had anywhere. I had the The Zombie drink
S N — Google review
We happened to trip on this treasure and we are glad we did. Wonderful, unique, fun, and tasty cocktails served by a knowledgeable and thoughtful staff. The ambiance is impeccable and well thought out, with little touches that play perfectly into the speakeasy vibe. Put this on your list when you are in Omaha.
Andrea T — Google review
what a terrific find! i was in town for work and really admired the architecture and vibe of omaha... a local colleague suggested we take a walk and was super casual about the reveal. guy at the door was perfectly in character (or maybe he's just a dour fellow). i'm a recent convert to the old fashioned, and this place has a really good one. lovely setting, good decor, and the service was warm and genial.
John W — Google review
I'd give this a TEN for atmosphere if I could- so cool! When we stepped into the front shop area, we weren't sure we were in the right place. We were led back through a speakeasy door to a low-lit intimate seating area. They will hand you a book filled with craft cocktails-- we had the Palermo and Saturn drinks which were very good. The Saturn was one of the drinks they light on fire before you drink it, which is also super fun. This place was small and I imagine more crowded on a warmer night. Definitely worth a stop!
Sarah W — Google review
A very cool speakeasy-style lounge in the downtown area. The hidden door adds a wonderful touch, making for a unique and exciting entry into the small but beautifully designed lounge and bar. We tried a few cocktails, and each one was distinct yet delicious. Overall, it was a fun experience, definitely worth visiting at least once.

Bar
Located at 1411 S 13th St, Omaha, NE 68105, Tiny House Bar exudes a retro vibe with its interior design featuring mural arts and thoughtful light fixtures. The bar offers a fantastic variety of cocktails served in retro glassware. The living room serves as the main bar area while other themed rooms provide unique spaces to enjoy your drink. Patrons praise the bartender's expertise in mixing drinks and providing attentive service. The bar also offers non-alcoholic cocktails for designated drivers.
As a previous resident of the 402 and someone who loves good drinks and good vibes Tiny House is the spot. I have lived in states from coast to coast and this spot has the best craft drinks by far. I since have left the area and miss not only the drinks but the diverse personalities that occupy this space and the area surrounding. If you enjoy a cozy and welcoming environment where you can indulge in a legit hand crafted drink, and a on point seasonal menu this is the spot. Huge shoutout to the bartenders and owners who pour their heart and souls into creating this space for everyone to enjoy. Can’t wait to come back for a visit and enjoy another Britney.
Chris F — Google review
Super neat inside. Lots of different rooms and areas to take photos. "Snack" friendly but not a llace if you're super hungry. Didn't try any snacks. Cool place to meet up and have a drink before you head to a busier spot. About $15 average for a drink. Couldn't stay long because it was FREEZING inside, and the bugs were terrible outside. I kind of wish they had something to help with the bugs on their patio. Would have stayed longer if the inside/outside sitting areas were better. We will be back to dress up and take photos.
Ambrosia L — Google review
This place is groovy. The inside decor is very chill. It's called tiny house but there is a variety of seating inside from the den, to couches, chairs, and tables and even a booth and a lounge in the back. If the inside is too crowded they have seating outdoors as well from you to pick from. The music is cool with chill sounds so it adds to the laid back vibe. The bartenders did an amazing job making everyone's drinks and I saw people going back up to the bar to order other things to try. They host events here, and all the staff did a great job of hosting. The asthetic is perfect for the Little Bohemia location.
Tecoria S — Google review
Very cute spot in Little Bohemia. Great craft cocktails & nice vibes.
Emily M — Google review
I went here on a date as it was recommended by a friend. I booked a reservation that cost $25, which I thought was weird, but I thought if the place was good; I would give it a shot. When we got to the bar and I gave the person at the door my name. They mentioned there was going to be a live DJ that night, and they thought about calling me to let me know, but didn't, as they didn't think I would mind. Long story short, my date and I could barely hear each other and it reminded me of a highschool party from 2010. We also got 2 drinks each and they were okay, but I don't think I'll be going back again.

We stayed in Omaha for a few nights, and I came here for to-go cocktails three nights in a row! Awesome, adventurous cocktails, and great staff. Super cool decor, as well. Highly recommend if you live in or are visiting Omaha and like higher-end drinks. Saint Dolly ftw, as well!
Sebastian T — Google review
This is exactly what you want in a bar! Relaxed, eclectic atmosphere. Always good music, amazing drinks. Reminds of some beautiful places I visited in Amsterdam. They really brought 13th street to the next level. The staff is knowledgeable and energetic! This is a must visit place! All the cocktails are divine and creative! Spend some time in the private style rooms or just pick a comfy chair!

I only tried one drink, it wasn’t for me, very strong smokey flavor which I usually like but I couldn’t taste anything but that it was a tad overwhelming. But loved the vibe and the people would come back and give the drinks another chance. Very friendly and kind atmosphere!

Restaurant
Herbe Sainte is a casual spot known for its Cajun and Creole cuisine, as well as its creative cocktails. Situated in the Aksarben neighborhood, this local gem offers a well-stocked bar and floor-to-ceiling windows that create a vibrant atmosphere. The bartenders are skilled at crafting both classic and custom drinks, constantly adding new recipes to the menu.
All around great restaurant, whether you want to grab a drink or a bite to eat. Atmosphere is really cool, it gave me East Asian vibes. I tried the artichoke crab dip, gumbo, shrimp cocktail and the Cajun Mac n Cheese. Everything was good, would highly recommend this place. Customer service was exceptional as well.
Jarodd B — Google review
7-12-25 We had the crab artichoke dip. Super duper creamy and flavorful. I had the bowl of étouffée with blackened chicken. Mild to Mid heat. Great flavor. Drinks went dry a couple times, asked for pink sweetener, server was like I don’t think we have that and looked confused. You don’t have sweet n low? Oh that, yes. We need a lot!!! He brings 2 packets for the both of us…we will need more. Comes back with 2 more and said that is it unless you want me to go back the locker and (hold on for it) and unlock it to get more…smh… I get being busy, but why are you working for tips? Oh! Service. We will go again to give them a chance to earn the final star. The food was that good!
Stephen M — Google review
Such great food and a really good vibe to the place. We also witnessed a proposal while we dined, so I wish I could add an extra star for that sweet moment! But seriously the food was phenomenal. I’d say the stars of the show were the NOLA shrimp, shrimp and grits, étoufée, and bread pudding. The Cajun mac n cheese and crab dip were also really good... All this to say you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We will be back!!
Christine D — Google review
I loved this place. It had a great little Happy Hour menu that I found the Artichoke Crab Dip on - it was so good and creamy that j wished i could've eaten more. But I had also ordered the short rib which was also very good, especially the grits under it! I came wait to go back and try more. And can't forget to mention my awesome server - he was fabulous!!

Have been to this location multiple times and it’s god every time! The French 75 sooo nice. The shrimp and grits with a side order of corn muffins…perfecto!!! Customer service is always on point. They also have outdoor seating. 10/10 recommend!

Pretty good shrimp and grits. I added andouille to the dish but it was slightly dry, oddly. The Kokomo cocktail was ok. Nothing to write home about. Overall an enjoyable experience and nice atmosphere.

Delicious lunch with the family while enjoying Aksarben Village today. We stopped in on a whim to give this place a try and was not disappointed. The kids had the grilled cheese and the gumbo. Gumbo could have used a tad bit more flavor but was overall great. The grilled cheese was amazing and just over the top for a kids meal. My wife went with the Prosciutto Apple Salad. The way they slice the apples made it killer! Hers was a table favorite. I had to try the jambalaya. It was amazingly spicy. One issue I have with jambalaya at places is it is never spicy enough. It is here! Great flavor and nice mixture with the sausage and the chicken. Another table favorite was the cornbread. I highly recommend grabbing some no matter what you are eating. We really want to try the brunch items as the banana foster French toast has my name on it!

Great drinks. Good selection of drinks. The bar is open until 1:30AM. They accept Apple Pay. The music is chill. They have enough seating for if you are by yourself or with a group of 8. They even have group drinks ready to make to share. They also have seasonal drinks to taste. I've celebrated my birthday and my sister birthday here and its always great vibes.

Nestled in the historic Old Market district, Upstream Brewing Company is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Established in 1996, this pioneering brewery occupies a charming turn-of-the-century firehouse and boasts an inviting atmosphere with both indoor seating and a unique rooftop patio that offers stunning views of downtown Omaha. Guests can savor handcrafted beers brewed on-site, including their classic pale ale and innovative options like the Eternity IPA.
Cool environment, good beer selection and drinks. Old firehouse definitely worth stopping in. Standard pub style food with vegan options. They make their own bread, which is unique.

Very cute place downtown. Beer was good. Love being able to get a flight to sample multiple brews. Our party was disappointed that there wasn’t a “sour” beer. I was happy with the beers I sampled. Food was just okay. Tomato basil soup was 5 stars, but the spinach artichoke dip was only two stars due to being mostly melted butter. The adult grilled cheese was okay - the inclusion of apple butter onto the sandwich is great in theory, but I feel there was too much on the sandwich overpowering the cheese and bread.

When they’re on a date recently and was pleasantly impressed. We have been at this place before we sat inside. Their selection of regular food was nothing special to me. However, this time around when we went, we had an outside patio seating, which was very pleasant and very nice. It allowed us to observe Omaha. It allowed us to enjoy that outside perspective. The food was good this time around we ordered appetizers chicken wings were absolutely great. The sauce was not just splattered on the wings, and they seem like they were actually marinated in the buffalo sauce which added to the flavor tremendously. We also ordered fish and chips and after having Gordon Ramsay‘s fish and chips, I was not expecting a whole lot from that. not because it’s not a name brand food or so but mainly because a lot of places in the United States are a hit or miss more miss with the fish and chips than hit. Well, I can say that upstream brewing company knows how to do their fish and chips and they were hands-down absolutely delicious. We would come back here for specifically that meal again.. There are seasonal brews and beers were great. We enjoyed every ounce that. I highly recommend this place.
Alexander K — Google review
A good selection of some very good beers--I especially liked the Dundee Scottish Ale. The brewery is in an old 2 story brick building with tons of character and comfortable seating. The second floor has pool and game tables in a large open bar area. There is a large selection of food options from appetizers to sandwiches to entrees. The burgers and fries were very good, The Rueben, although tasty, was served on some very thick, hard bread. I ended up eating the meat and sauerkraut, but left most of the bread on the plate. Service was good and the food came out very quickly. After we settled the bill, we felt rushed by the waitstaff although a few of us were still talking as we finished our drinks. There were plenty of empty tables and no line of people waiting to be seated. Sometimes it nice to sit and finish your drinks without pressure to leave.

I visited Upstream Brewing on the last night of a business trip and chose to sit at the bar. I ordered a Saison Botanique, which had a delightful saison bite with strong floral notes—I was thoroughly impressed. After sampling a few of their other beers, I returned to the Saison Botanique to pair with my dinner. For my meal, I chose the salmon burger with fries. The salmon burger was good but not exceptional, as it felt somewhat dry, though I still enjoyed it. The fries, however, were outstanding, with a perfect crunch and excellent preparation. The service during the meal was adequate but not remarkable, much like the salmon burger. Overall, the Saison Botanique and fries were the highlights of the experience, while everything else met my expectations. I would gladly return on my next trip to Omaha. Rounding up from a 4.5 to a 5 since it’s a brewery and the beer was delicious.
Javi C — Google review
The burgers are nothing great. We sat outside, where there are plenty of bugs smaller than the black specks in the ranch, which was quite excellent actually. The bugs bite. This grew especially tiresome while we waited 10 minutes in the wind after paying to get our cards back. This was my first time in the Omaha Old Market, but I’m sure there’s better food around.

Went on a Saturday afternoon to eat and watch husker game. Our waitress Lizzy was totally amazing!!! Attentive but not over attentive, let us watch the entire and continued to provide service. Absolutely would recommend this place and if you get Lizzy as your server you will not be disappointed!

We went out to a bar called Proof in Omaha for a friend’s birthday. There’s a huge selection of scotch to choose from and there mixed drinks are tasty and they have a good beer menu as well. I had the house Old Fashion for $5. It was not bad but also not the best I’ve had. I would probably order a different one the next time just to see the difference but I’d still order this one. They have a very small selection of food to choose from as it is not a restaurant but an actual bar. The music was fun and sounded like you were in a Speak Easy. The bartenders were dressed up in suit vests which made the feel of the bar even more like something from the roaring 20s. They were polite and attentive. Even the owner visited our table and was sociable with us. This was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely go back.

Krug Park is a trendy bar located in a restored 1908 building, offering craft beers and cocktails with an old-timey vibe. Situated in the historic Benson neighborhood, this beer haven boasts vintage decor and dim lighting, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for beer enthusiasts. I had an amazing time at Krug Park in Benson! The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection of craft beers was impressive. The outdoor seating area was cozy and perfect for a relaxing evening with friends. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their beer offerings. Highly recommended!

Cozy spot with a big tap selection and good cocktail menu. Every time I am in Benson I stop here. The bartenders are kind, and keep their cool when it's busy! The inside is kept nice as well. This bar serves Fruli, and I can't help myself but love them more for that.

This is our groups go-to bar to start out a night in Benson. Classy and low key without feeling snobbish. It's usually pretty quiet even though its always at least half full, which is why we start drinking here instead of ending the night. Right on the Benson strip so its a super quick and easy walk to other bars when you're ready to turn up. p.s. Alex is known for his bloody marys

Got stuck thanks to the snow during new years time, A woman (I believe the owner) not only helped out by getting her partner bring cat litter to help get the car unstuck but also let me borrow her shovel. The drink I ordered was lovely and the people I met there were super nice. I was on holiday from England so the review is mega late, also sadly I may never be back but I only have great things to say about this bar. Recommend 100%, even if your car Isn't stuck! 5/5

Kaitei is a basement speakeasy located beneath a popular ramen restaurant in Benson. The bar is known for its kitschy decor and fantastic drinks, especially sake cocktails. It hosts fun themed pop-ups and offers inventive drinks, along with fabulous ramen available at the Ika restaurant upstairs. Despite its small size, Kaitei's unique Asian-inspired atmosphere and friendly bartenders make it a must-visit spot for those seeking an eclectic experience.
My wife and I stopped in for a few cocktails on a Saturday around 8pm and really enjoyed our time. We both enjoyed the "At Your Whim" and the "Farfetch'd" The bar tenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. The bar itself is cozy, looking as though it could fit about 20-30 people. Great Place and staff is awesome. The only negative is the DJ on Saturday night. The DJ plays really good music. I just wish it were not quite so loud for such a small room. I have trouble hearing people over the music, but still, DJ was cool and glad he was there.

If you want grunge and time travel, this is the bar for you. Sake is one of my favorite things to drink and they have everything you could ask for. The staff is beyond talented, you can find something you will like. They have a snack machine with Asian snacks- so cool. Their menu is top notch, haven't found a listed cocktail that I didn't like. It is smaller, it does get busy. Prepare for that.

This is my favorite bar in Omaha. Its a very chill and lowkey bar. They have an array of Japanese liquor and unique drinks. It's not overly loud so if you want to just relax and have a few drinks with a friend and actually be able to hear each other, this is the place to be. They have a Japanese vending machine in the back along with a little arcade fighting game. There is tons of interesting art and decorations around. The bathroom has some fun art to look at. After your night of drinking is over and the munchies kick in you can head in upstairs and grab some AMAZING ramen. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for something new.

Worst bar in town. The bartenders are always in a good mood like they enjoy their job or something - who actually likes their job? Couldn’t they just stick to classic cocktails instead of experimenting with unique ingredients and techniques that require patience, skill, and effort? They’re always doing annoying stuff like educating patrons about sake and working with distributors to expand the availability and quality of sake in Nebraska.

Anna's Place is a captivating speakeasy nestled in the heart of downtown Omaha. Tucked away inside a hotel, this enchanting gem offers an intimate and sophisticated ambiance that transports visitors to a bygone era. The dim red lighting, cozy seating, and soft murmur of conversation add to its allure. The cocktails are truly exceptional, expertly crafted with interesting ingredients and bursting with creativity.
During a recent stay at the Hotel Indigo in Omaha, I had the pleasure of visiting a hidden speakeasy and it was an unforgettable experience. Anna’s place is veteran-owned and operated which we LOVE. Nestled discreetly within the hotel, this gem offered a unique and calming vibe that was both inviting and sophisticated. The dim lighting and tasteful decor transport you back in time creating an inviting space perfect for intimate conversation or unwinding after a long day. The speakeasy honors the famous madame Anna Wilson, the decor and pictures are a hat tip to her memory. I finished an evening out with friends with a stop here. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night for a drink before our flight. The highlight of our visit was the bartender, Penelope (Penny), who was not only incredibly skilled but also friendly and attentive. Her passion for mixology was evident in every drink she crafted, and each cocktail was a delightful blend of flavors that left us wanting more. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Penelope made sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of, adding a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. Whether you're a guest at the hotel or just passing through, this speakeasy is worth a visit. It's the perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a quiet drink on your own.

They have cocktails with all sorts of unique ingredients and house-made syrups. The amount of effort and thought that goes into their menu is mind-blowing! They also have an assortment of mocktails, if those are more your jam. If you're looking for the best speakeasy in Omaha, this is it.

Anna's Place is my go to for the speakeasy experience. I've tried almost every cocktail currently on the menu and the drinks are crafted with unique ingredients and possibly a bit of magic. As mentioned by others, it's a dark vibe so if you're looking for sunshine and rainbows this isn't it. If you want excellent drinks, talented bartenders and a good date spot, this is it. Also they have special events with themed drinks that are not to miss!

I stumbled into this place by chance really. Just happen to look up places near me and happen to be in a hotel nearby. It was a great experience. The drinks that I got were amazing. I strolled in alone expecting just a drink or two, and ended up staying a lot longer than expected. Between talking to the bartender and the waitress it's easy to lose track of time, great conversation. Will definitely be back if I'm ever back in Omaha. Definitely a must see place.

Epic! Super creative, phenomenal, well balanced cocktails with ingredients like frankincense & lavender smoke, patchouli syrup, house made rosemary clove smoked hard candy, and an amazing selection of spirits. Very nice little place, sad that I did not discover this years ago. Cocktails are reasonably priced and well made. I think that the cocktails I had would be $3-$5 more downtown. Service was prompt and attentive and knowledgable about the menu. The free snacks were also good.

One of the best craft cocktail bars in Nebraska. We weren't sure about the suggested cocktails, so we let the bartender know what we like, and he made some of the best drinks we've ever had. Certainly a craftsman.

The best bar In Omaha if you're looking for hand crafted, creative cocktails that are made perfectly. Every. Time. This isn't the place for a Jack and coke (as they don't offer Jack Daniel's) but it is the place for a mind blowing creation made with fresh, house made ingredients. Kris is amazing and is always consistent. Matt Brown is an all star as well but now that he is part owner of V. Mertz he spends most of his time down there. Please, do yourself a favor and try this place! Update- Trio has closed. So has my heart. I could not be more bummed about this. God know what it will be turned into now. Sad sad sad.

My experience at Trio was great! The live band and sexy bartenders really put the wind back in my sails. The 1914 cocktail was amazing! I will be a frequent visitor. I 100% reccomend Trio!

This place is awesome if you like bars that run out of alcohol before 10pm on a Friday, enjoy each member of your group being served individually over the course of 30 minutes while being told "we are out of this and out of that", like being served by a guy dressed like Bruce Wayne's butler, and enjoy being around ascot wearing stuff shirts. This place can't even make a white Russian.

The Drover is a renowned chophouse that has made a remarkable comeback after facing challenges such as a destructive fire and the impact of the pandemic. It is celebrated for its signature whiskey-marinated steaks, particularly the bone-in ribeye, which diners can enjoy with the restaurant's secret sauce. The establishment boasts a retro salad bar, one of Omaha's first, offering classic favorites like Iceberg lettuce and Thousand Island dressing.
This is a quintessential Omaha steak house. The lighting is dim, the atmosphere is cozy, the staff is fast, friendly and knowledgeable, and the steaks are cooked to perfection. The drink service was right on top of us which was great. The onion rings appetizer had a unique and delicious peppery taste. The salad bar is just fine and the Whiskey Steaks are superb. This place has been in business for a long time for a reason!

If you’re looking for a delicious steak, “The Drover” is the place to be. It is a quaint and cozy restaurant. Eric is a great bartender and had wonderful customer service, looking forward to going back. Seating can be limited at times so it is preferred to make reservations or you can sit at the bar. Highly recommended!

I love how simple the menu is. I feel like that’s when you know it’s going to be good. I had the Whiskey Ribeye with a loaded baked potato and salad. Steak was delicious and cooked a perfect medium rare. The baked potato was wonderful and had just the right amount of toppings. You got to go to the salad bar to make your own and everything was fresh. Our waitress was nice but I wouldn’t have minded her making it over to the table a bit more. I like to drink a lot of waters/Diet Coke and found myself waiting a bit to get refills. Other than that she did well. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Dimmed warm yellow lights and a cozy bar. Highly recommend trying but make a reservation if you can, especially on the weekends.

August 2025: Came here for a team dinner and had a very enjoyable meal. The place reminds me of a traditional old school steak 🥩 house with dark wood and a rustic feel. Ordered the rib eye whiskey 🥩. It was a boneless cut and had a nice whiskey finish on the pallet. I had a baked potato 🥔 as my side with butter and chives. I was very happy with the potato. My meal came with a choice of soup or salad. I chose the salad bar and got a nice salad. Drink options were pretty good. I had a zip line IPA from a local brewery. Would definitely come back again for more delicious steak 🥩!

Drover’s feels like a true local gem with classic Midwestern steakhouse charm. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium-rare ribeye, paired with a great glass of Cabernet. The salad bar was a solid choice—the blue cheese dressing tasted homemade and was a highlight. The bartender was friendly and attentive, rounding out an excellent meal.

Solid steak, perhaps the best in Omaha, but definitely has room for improvement. It is a good value - the steak, baked potato, and soup for one price (along with bread at the beginning of the meal) is a good amount of food. The ribeye was cooked medium rare, the filet was cooked more on the rare side. It was difficult to taste the whiskey marinade but maybe there was a small hint of sweetness. The salad is a better value than the soup because it’s unlimited but I liked the red pepper soup too. The baked potato seemed very rich with the sour cream, get it on the side. The side of asparagus was plain and underwhelming.
Sameet S — Google review
Dined at The Drover last night as a guest of a large party. I ordered the Whiskey Rib-Eye with asparagus as the side. The salad bar is fine, but nothing special; certainly not worth paying the asking price by itself. The rib-eye was excellent both in quality and preparation. They didn't trim off the woody ends of the asparagus, which is a rookie mistake in my opinion, hence my knocking off a star.

Had a friend recommend The Drover after he found out we were in Omaha for the CWS. We wasn’t able to get a reservation due to the high volume of people visiting at the time, so we opted to try and walk in. Surprised that we were seated by the great staff in about 15min. The atmosphere and staff were amazing! We had a party of four and two of us ordered the whiskey ribeye, cooked medium, and two ordered the filets. Loaded baked potatoes for sides. The potatoes were good even though mine was slightly undercooked. The filets were tender and had an ok flavor. Unfortunately, the whiskey ribeyes we ordered were not so tender. They seemed to be a cheap, lean cut of beef, with very little flavor. Very tough to eat. As a matter of fact both mine and my father-n-laws jaws were sore after eating the steak. Very little fat. We very disappointed to say the least as this place came with great recommendations. Maybe it was because they were overwhelmed and not prepared for so many people traveling to Omaha, but it would be hard for me to recommend this place to anyone. Price was to be expected, for a good steak. Not a good price for what we got.

M's Pub is a renowned New American restaurant located in the vibrant Old Market district of Omaha. Established in 1972, it has been a beloved culinary destination for decades. Following a fire in 2016, the restaurant was meticulously restored to its former glory by the original designers. The menu features a delightful blend of original dishes and inventive twists on classic favorites such as crabcakes, flatbreads, and warm duck salad.
7-11-25. Had a great lunch. My wife had the duck salad. I had the M’s Classic. Both were amazing. Quick service with a smile. Perfect weather to be on the deck. Fresh takes on old dishes and some new standard favs!!! Will cone again.

What can I say but that I love M’s Pub. When I get off the plane in Omaha it’s my first stop! It’s a nostalgic, Old Market-chic place that has been around since the 70’s and has never gone out of style. To know the original M’s was burned to a shell then rebuilt exactly as you see it today is beyond amazing and a miracle!!! Great food, great atmosphere, classic cocktails and drinks-the place is just magical. Service can sometimes be a little slow but always nice and welcoming. My favorite hang out, never rushed.
Town E — Google review
M's Pub is a staple of American Cuisine in the Old Market. Even after a fire gutted it, it was completely replaced to its exact original. The food is, as it always has been, full of flavor and originality. Our service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is both airy and cozy. I enjoyed my drinks (one tequila with prickly pear, the other mezcal based) which were original and played nicely with my dinner. The Duck Poutine has incredible flavor and could easily be a meal in itself. The Shepard's Pie on special was rich and hearty with perfectly tender beef, a rich mushroom gravy, and complimentary light pastry top. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong here - excellent restaurant!

So glad I got to stop and enjoy eating here! As a celiac girlie, it's hard to find safe restaurants and even rarer to find ones with robust gluten free menus. This one has it all! I really enjoyed the lamb satay for dinner and the creme brulee for dessert. 10/10 will absolutely go here next time I'm in town!

Wow! I was blown away with the food and the service at M’s. The menu kinda scared me but I decided to be adventurous. The breakfast for dinner was amazing! The lahvosh and potstickers were incredible. My favorite drink was the Shades of Grey! Megan was our server. She was attentive and just really great to talk to!

The tortillas were a little dry but overall really good tacos. Pico and cheese were fresh.
Atlanta to Omaha for business and found this great place. Love getting to try new places like this. I had the Reuben sandwich and onion rings. It did not disappoint. If you get a chance check this place out.

We started with Cheese Curds which were super yummy. My medium-sized child insisted she just wanted the Pretzel Bites app and some Chili 😆. We obliged. The chili was good enough she decided on bringing the remainder to the hotel... My husband had the Blue Jay Burger. Thought it was very good, loved the toppings. This type of fries is not our ideal but they were super crispy and seasoned well. I got the Fish Tacos. Tilapia was great in parts and not so much in other parts. Filling totally worked. Small child ordered a Cheeseburger and had zero complaints! Here's our takeaway. Everything was very good. Nothing blew us away. There are several other things on the menu I find intriguing and we will absolutely return. I will say, service was amazing! Our server Joey was a rockstar and I would recommend this place based on that alone! ❤️

Wow, plenty of choices but menu is not huge but that’s a good thing. So many place try to do too much and aren’t good any anything. We have had nearly everything on the menu and it’s all good. The burgers are great but I recommend the Smoke Pit Sandwich or Burnt Ends Mac and Cheese. Everything is seasoned, not boring bar food, they do it right! Bar is good, good selection of beers. Everything from your everyday gas station beers to great local and other craft beers. Great staff and atmosphere. Big TVs and all the games and other good content to watch!

I love the vibe in here. The brick walls, the old wood everywhere gives this place an old school meets modern feel in a fantastic way! The beer and drink selection is great which is what you’d want for a bar and grill and the food is amazing as well which takes this place a step above. The blackened chicken Alfredo pasta is my favorite thing on the menu and the shrimp appetizer is a close second. This is always a great place to go before or after events at the chi center because it’s literally right across the parking lot.

The #1 thing about this place is the location right by the baseball stadium and CHI Arena. #2 is good service. Staff are knowledgeable, attentive, quick. #3 is the environment. It is fine. Seems friendly and all. Last on the list is the food. It is fine. Not great. Just fine. The buns are good. The burgers are fine. The fried chicken is cooked properly but relatively tasteless. It is all just... fine... It is a bit pricey for average food but I think that is because of location. People having drinks seem very content so the bar is probably good. I rarely drink so can't say. However, the Pepsi mix is actually outstanding. I could possibly swap that out for the #1 thing. Because of the location I plan to be back.

Good service. Good cocktails. Good beer selection. Food came out fast. The bartender was the perfect amount of attentive and she made great drinks. She made a fellow female comfortable in a different city. Those used to Washington, DC drink prices will be pleasantly surprised. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. Thanks for a good Omaha trip!

The food is outstanding here. I got the Root Burger (not usually my thing) and it was outstanding. All the toppings were so fresh. Great job. I got the potato salad as a side and it was also outstanding. Prices are fair for what you get. Presentation of food could be better but who cares when it is outstanding and you have great staff serving you.

In the times of Beyond and Impossible meat, they serve a properly vegan patty from quinoa and beets. 4 stars for the taste and one more for choosing to make a vegan patty. The fries were also well-seasoned and crisp. I would definitely return when I am in town.

Came for lunch - food was pretty good. Potato salad and chicken strips were the best items. Steak way overcooked and overpriced. Service was friendly but slow. They need a bartender so the servers can focus on serving tables and not doing everything themselves. Wanted to sit upstairs but didn’t see the entrance/access and there was no one to ask so we just sat down. Inside was a nice, bright space. Relaxed atmosphere. Good beer and cocktails but getting more was difficult because of our server needing to take care of way too many people/areas.

The Boiler Room is a charming loft restaurant with an industrial-chic ambiance and a wine cellar. It pays homage to its past as a boiler room while offering more than just stylish decor. The restaurant collaborates with 18 local growers to procure top-quality ingredients, which are then transformed into inventive and flavorful dishes that change with the seasons. Chef Tim Nicholson, a native of Omaha and multiple James Beard Awards' semifinalist, leads the kitchen in creating an exceptional culinary experience using farm-fresh foods.
We've been trying to get reservations for awhile, especially on a weekend so I suggest reserving asap! The atmosphere was chill, relaxed but upscale. We were seated upstairs which gave a great view of the kitchen. Service was fantastic! They really went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We dined on our anniversary weekend and got a couple flutes of champagne! What a fun surprise from them. The food was so excellent!! We ordered The steak & Pork Chop. Cannot wait to go back. It may be pricey, but it was worth it.

We were lucky enough to be in Omaha when The Boiler Room was having a special wine dinner menu - wines from a producer in the Rioja region of Spain. The set menu was as delicious as it sounded. They were able to graciously accommodate my shellfish allergy without a hitch! We loved the ambiance of the upstairs dining area and our waiter was well trained and very personable. The sommelier spent loads of time with us - very special. I highly recommend The Boiler Room.

Went to the Boiler Room for my birthday as a surprise and the food was absolutely to die for. The pork belly appetizer had SO much flavor and was delectable. Just as the main courses were. Honestly every dish we got was so full of flavor and so well made. One of the best meals I’ve had in Omaha. The service was excellent and they were on top of every need and question. I highly recommend if you want a very nice dinner with excellent service!

Amazing food, service, and venue! Definitely visit if you have not. It is a bit more on the upscale side so expect prices accordingly. But in my opinion, at least based on the food and service we received, it was absolutely worth every penny! Perfect for a special occasion like anniversary or birthday, or date night. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Definitely go if you haven't already.. you will not regret it!

This was our first time at The Boiler Room. We had heard many good things and were very excited for our early Valentine’s Day dinner. To start, we ordered the Soy Glazed Pork Belly. It was phenomenal. My wife and I both hate carrots yet we’re delighted with the carrot puree served under the belly. The meat itself was soft and extremely flavorful. My wife ordered the Sablefish and I ordered the Venison Loin. The sablefish was done amazingly. Each element complimented it extremely well and the cook was perfect. The venison was a perfect experience overall. I’ve never had a dish where each of the sides and sauces worked so well together. The sweet potato paired well with the rare meat and the risotto was cooked to perfection. We finished off with a chocolate semifreddo served with peanut butter mouse. It was delicious and perfectly sized. We also each ended with an espresso, which was saved by the biscotti. We never expect much from restaurant espressos, but the biscotti was a welcome treat. We each had a couple cocktails throughout the meal and were very pleased with them. The waiter was a bit quiet and standoffish but knew their menu and were very quick. The restaurant was not very full due to weather and made for a quieter atmosphere. At times it was a bit too quiet, but this was not at the fault of the restaurant. We agreed this was one of our best meals in Omaha in quite a long time. The price was worth it and we will be back again in the future.

We had a fabulous experience! The atmosphere was amazing and the service was just as good. I’m a big foodie so when I say the food is phenomenal, it was very very good! We decided to try most of the appetizers and they didn’t disappoint! They have a very nice wine list as well! Definitely recommend if you’re here in Omaha I want a great food experience!

Wow. Simply wow. What a great place. The atmosphere is unassuming but classy. The menu is limited, which to me says excellence. The sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was AMAZING. I’ve had great food in many places but this was simple and absolutely delicious. I had the wagyu hangar steak. Tartare and croquettes and pork belly for an appetizer. We enjoyed the dessert sampler and some port after the main dish. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!!
Thomas C — Google review
This was our second time visiting Boiler Room. We ordered the steak first time around, and we found it to be lacking. We decided to give it a second try for our anniversary and unfortunately, the food remained mediocre. It is unfortunate, considering the ambience is very appealing and the cocktails and complimentary champagne for our anniversary were great. To start, we ordered tagliatelle and pork belly. Each of these dishes was good enough, though not standouts in their own right. For the main courses, we ordered the halibut and duck breast. Similar to our first visit, the main courses fell flat, considering the price ($50+ each dish). The duck was chewier than we would prefer and the halibut was completely ordinary. My boyfriend noted that the flavors of each visit leaned heavily into earthy flavors, which left him wanting more. For instance, the apple and beet purée accompanying his duck was something that was unpleasant on its own but okay when eaten with the rest of the dish. The highlight of the evening was the pistachio semifreddo, which was accompanied by white chocolate and blackberries. It was a great way to end the meal. We also received complimentary macarons, which were pleasant and buttery. Each time we have been to The Boiler Room, we were hoping to give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, we left underwhelmed each time. For the price, there are much better restaurants in the area.

The restaurant has gained attention alongside other dining spots in the area, such as the elegant European fine dining restaurant Au Courant and Kathmandu Momo Station.
100% Vegan restaurant . Went to Modern Love for my daughter's birthday. It was quite the experience being that I'm not vegan but I did try a little bit of everything. I was pretty impressed. The food was very tasty, a lot of good flavor. I'm not a fan of tofu but it's probably a texture thing. The service was amazing. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu items. I loved the dreamy atmosphere...it was comfy and relaxing.

Great find! Went in for a business meeting and the other two people I went with recommended this place. I ordered a Hot Chicken Sandwich (or something like that) and split the Mac and Cheese with wings with my boyfriend. The Mac and Cheese was soooooo good. Very flavorful and the wings were so tasty. The sandwich was delicious and the salad was great. I really wanted the Feta and Strawberry salad but they were out of it and none of the other salads interested me. I wish I would’ve had room for dessert as it all looked amazing. The place is cute and prices were decent. Service was good. I’ll definitely be back when I’m visiting Omaha!

I got the nachos for lunch and garlic Alfredo pasta for dinner the next night. That pasta was so yummy even a day later! The nachos were very filling. Food was good, the price was a bit higher than I thought, especially for Omaha. When I entered the restaurant, it reeked of sulfur, so I’m not sure if it’s normally like that. My server was very nice to me and the food came out pretty quickly. I’m happy a fully vegan restaurant exists in Omaha. Highly recommend the Alfredo pasta and nachos! I’d probably order takeaway if the restaurant still smells like sulfur.

The staff is amazing but the food is even better. I had the Caesar salad, it was so amazing with fresh capers and homemade cheese- the portions were generous and it was gone before I knew it. The staff was so nice, the waiter recently made full time and his birthday was today- he seemed very happy to be there, and assured me that he was going to celebrate.

We came right of our way to check this place out. There was only one server and there were a lot of lunch time customers so it was pretty slow. We shared the Kale salad and chicken sandwich. It was more than enough food, and they were both huge portions. The thing we didn't like was that everything was pretty heavy in terms of the sauces and amount of oil used in cooking. I couldn't finish as I prefer fresh food, but for comfort food, it was pretty good. I can see why it is a popular choice. The venue is great, and it is easy to park.
Victoria C — Google review
Fantastic food: The hot new chicken and nachos were amazing; the kale salad a little too salty. Service was hit and miss; the guy leaving his shift completely ignored me while the lady who just got there was the nicest and gave me fantastic service. It looked clean but bathrooms were dark with a sticky floor. I would eat here again (that sandwich!) but just as likely to try other vegan restaurants in town next time. Parking and construction is also an issue; you can choose the garage and get validated.

J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood in Omaha offers a fine dining experience with a classic steakhouse menu and an extensive selection of sides and cocktails. The restaurant is known for its exceptional dishes, including perfectly seared steaks and delectable desserts. One of the highlights is the 4oz steak and shrimp, which are highly praised for their delicious flavors. This establishment stands out as one of the top choices for a high-quality dining experience in Omaha.
The wife and I enjoyed a beautiful date night in downtown Omaha. We made reservations a week in advance and were seated promptly upon arrival. Our waitress was very friendly and took our drink order right away, while explaining the house specials for the evening. We started off with a Smoke Old Fashioned and Lavender Drop along with an order of Oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were fantastic and the drinks were spot on. My old fashioned has the equivalent of 2 drinks worth and was perfect for the entire meal. The house bread was flavorful and warm, and the smoked pastrami butter was delicious. My wife ordered the bone in pork chop while I had the aged New York strip. Both cuts of meat were cooked exactly as ordered and both meals were full of flavor. Overall, it was a great date night experience and I would highly recommend for anyone who has never visited.

Really enjoyed this steakhouse. The oysters on the half shell were fantastic. The fillet was very flavorful and melted in my mouth. It was more on the rare side than medium rare, but it worked for me. I sat at the bar and Holly was very attentive and friendly. I recommend this place to wind down, a nice drink and great meal.

We came here last night for a date night, and it was such a wonderful choice. The food was excellent — the Pretzel Crusted Onion Rings and the Shrimp Cocktail were both amazing. The atmosphere was perfect, not too loud, and it felt upscale without being stuffy. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a great dining experience.

What an awesome dining experience! Reminded me of restaurants in DC, with its modern interior look and bustling vibe. Our service was excellent, and the food was exceptionally delicious! We each ordered the three-course meal, which for what we got were very reasonably priced. For the entree I got the steak and crab cake and both were absolutely phenomenal! The wife got the same but had a side of mushroom risotto which was probably the best risotto I've tasted! We also ordered a Calamari appetizer, which was really flavorful and lightly breaded, and wine as well. The 3-course meal also came with a dessert, so we got probably one of the tastiest creme brules we've ever had, and a huge slice of carrot cake that was "oh my gosh delicious"! Definitely cannot say enough good things about our experience... Highly recommend!

This steakhouse is a huge asset to the city of Omaha. It has a great vibe, super elegant, and the steaks are in a class of their own. My ribeye was perfectly grilled, and the taste was incredible. My server was very informative and accommodating. She had several recommendations for my keto diet. The crab bisque probably was the best I’ve ever eaten.

Very nice upscale steakhouse. Impeccable service from Ashley (I hope I’m remembering her name correctly.) Really liked being able to choose my own style of steak knife. We ordered off the pre-fixe menu (1st time in) and it did not disappoint! Medium rare filet mignon with bourbon maple glazed shrimp, asparagus & tomatoes and sour cream mashed potatoes. Side salad was more like a normal dinner salad packed with a lot of good things, not just a few tomatoes and croutons. My dinner guest had her filet with the lump crab cake. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée. Never saw a crème brûlée like this one, and it was perfect! We also had the berry dessert. My smoked Old Fashioned was excellent! Can’t say enough good things about this place. The noise level was acceptable even with a full dining room. Stop by and see this place for yourself!

Excellent steak restaurant. Intimate seating, mood lighting. The steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sides were delicious. Great kids menu and the Mac and cheese could easily feed 2-3 people. The crème brûlée was the best!

It was horrific at best. It was my mom’s 84th Birthday, I had said when I made the reservation it was for a birthday. We got there and the girls hosting were so not caring. I had to ask for the dessert card which made me think this was off to a bad start. The girls up front were on their phones and brushing their hair the whole time. We sat at a high table in the bar area which turned out to be a huge mistake. The service was awful as the waitress started with attitude from the start. She seemed miffed at having to wait on an older lady. My mom was a bit confused about desserts this seems to pirated the server. Which is sad. 84 is a milestone birthday. My mom has been through so much and to just treat her with annoyance and sighs was so mean. This really hurt me. The bread too a long time to arrive, was not warm and I had the pleasure of pulling a hair out of my mouth while eating the second piece. It had been stuck to the bottom of the bread. I had to spit it out and pull the hair out of my mouth. I asked for a different bread and a fresh napkin but the waitress seemed annoyed and didn’t take the dirty napkin nor did she bring me a new one. I had to go to another table to get a fresh napkin. I had the pleasure of having the dirty napkin on the table through the whole meal. While waiting for our food, a food runner brought over a platter of oysters that we did not order. He insisted on placing it on the table despite telling him 3x we did not order the oysters. I am allergic and his being forceful and pushing all our plates, glasses out of the way was upsetting. The waitress finally caught him and gave them to the correct table. Not even an apology for us but for the other table. Dinner came out, the sides all mixed up, steaks were burned on the outside, raw in the middle. They were not edible. Redo was just as bad. Au gratin potatoes were gooey, very unpleasant and disgusting really. Beyond disappointed, my mother’s birthday ruined. She cried on the way home.

The Benson Brewery is a cozy microbrewery nestled in the heart of Benson, offering a laid-back atmosphere and vegan-friendly American cuisine. With an array of house-brewed beers, including limited edition series like the Mexican lager Luz Dvida and mainstays such as the light-bodied Blonde Bunny, there's something to suit every palate. Whether you're sipping on a crisp Weisse or indulging in a creamy stout, their small-batch and seasonal taps promise variety.
The pretzels are so good and the dips are even better. Save the mustard and cheese to dip your fries in! There are good vegan and vegetarian options and there’s even a vegan item discount on Wednesdays! Our server Becca was great!

Been here a few times and I feel like it’s so underrated! We’ve loved all of our beers here! They have the best happy hour around and one of the best beer gardens we’ve been to in Omaha! Just tried their pretzel sticks and fries for the first time and they were also great! Also, every time we come here, we have the best service with the nicest bartenders and servers! Can’t wait to come back!
Megan K — Google review
Been here twice now during their trivia night. Have wanted to try a few items on the menu, but so far just appetizers. Had the pretzel sticks w assorted mustard and beer cheese, totally worthy. Also tried a side of their fries, good, did the job. Last one I recently tried was their Baked Mac & Cheese. The pic has hot sauce on it, think Sriracha. It was okay, not amazing, but good enough for most people. Both times sat at the bar so service was great, dig the place.

Quaint little brewery with some food options. Fish and chips were different than I expected. The batter had some herbs in it that I'm not used from the UK. Nevertheless, still tasted good. The beer options are amazing and everything is brewed in house. Would recommend for a night out.

We came for restaurant week back to the Benson Brewery and had a wonderful meal with crispy cauliflower on a bed of salad and marinated onions. Then we had a flank steak both vegan and real meat on a bed of sweet potatoes and charred broccolini. We finished the meal with a vegan chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries and candied walnuts. We chose a flight of different beers to go with our courses and all of them were delicious. We enjoyed this dining experience very much!

I've been told this place had the best pretzels in town and it didn't disappoint. :) the cheese sauce was divine. I love the poutine too. So much yum. My date ordered a flight of beers and while I'm not a beer drinker myself, i did sip a few and some were actually quite palatable.
Lyd H — Google review
I've been here 6 times-ish. Time for review. One of the best places in Omaha to grab dinner. Poutine fries a must. As a connoisseur of reubens, I rank it at number 4 in omaha. Thick cut meat can leave it a bit chewy in places. Everything else we've ever eaten or drank here is fantastic. Model your business after this for success. Excellent wait/bar staff. Busy times can produce a wait for food, but will be worth it.

My favorite food in Omaha. The seitan wings with the IPA mustard sauce are the best! The fries and seitan gyro are great. Amazing happy hour all day on Sundays.

Breakfast restaurant
Restaurant
Early Bird Brunch is a trendy and modern restaurant located in Omaha's lively Blackstone District. The eatery offers an extensive brunch menu featuring various "jack stacks," "bennies," and "sandies" along with a wide selection of cocktails. Guests can enjoy the popular chicken fried steak and The Bob, a large glazed donut meant for sharing. The restaurant's quirky decor includes whimsical sayings on the walls, adding to its charm.
We are in Omaha so our pup can have surgery on his leg and decided to try the Early Bird Brunch after we dropped him off. It was absolutely delicious and if you’re ever in the area you have to stop and eat here! We started with coffee, camp fire hot chocolate and Cinny - Bobs… a must try! I had the #16 - blueberry pancakes with lemon glaze that were so good I didn’t need to top with syrup. My wife had the steak and egg bagel and tots, it got 2 thumbs up!

Let me tell you if I could give this place a 100 star I would do it. They have some amazing food. I think the best breakfast I've ever had. I had the Crab Rangoon omelet it was to die for. It is very busy but if you sit at the bar it's a no wait and full service, so that's what we did. Food was delivered fast. A little pricy but it was well worth it and plenty of food so got our minrys worth. If ypu are ever in Omaha you should definitely go.

Well let me just say…YASS!! This place was amazing! Atmosphere was super clean and very cutesy on the inside. We got there and were seated in a booth. Our server was super sweet and provided some recommendations. We ordered coffee and a marshmallow campfire hot chocolate to which I added an espresso shot. It was so good. We ordered breakfast nachos which were tots with cheese and egg in top. As well as a sausage biscuit sandwich. Let me just say the sausage on that biscuit sandwich was top tier. I’ve had sausage from establishments before and they are always thin but this appeared to be homemade and formed with LOVE!!! 💕 Oh and we ordered these apple turnovers drizzled with caramel and glaze that were tots die for. Do not sleep on breakfast at this gem!!! 10 out of 10 recommend The only thing that did not impress me was the hash brown casserole. It needed more seasoning and it was a bit dry
Shelia J — Google review
I love this restaurant. The disappointment in the score is simply because of this one experience. I placed an online order and waited an extra 25 minutes before my food was done. I get home and my chicken fried chicken doesn’t even have the sausage gravy on it. That’s one of the best parts of the meal. Just disappointed with this experience today. Will give them another shot soon.

sensational, I loved it 🥰 I highly recommend it! Get there early, it's very busy on the weekends.
Stella V — Google review
The food was good, we went on a Saturday at 12pm so it was packed and our wait was about 20 minutes for a party of 3. We ordered the bacon flight, cinny bobs, the new Philly cheesesteak Benny, smoked salmon Benny, and the good morning burrito. The bennys come with a side of hash browns, we did not enjoy these as they were hard/uncooked maybe? Idk. The bennys were delicious. I missed my regular choice, the veggie Benny - they took it off the menu and the Philly cheesesteak Benny was the only one with any kind of vegetables (red peppers and onions). The good morning burrito was really good but again, had those hash brown in it. Not a deal breaker though. Shout out to our server, he was amazing! Also, I ordered the vanilla latte with a shot of espresso and it was very tasty. Oh and idk if it’s meant to be that way but the cinny bond were doughy in the middle and I personally did not enjoy that part. Still a great place to brunch. The bacon flight is a MUST.

Disappointed by the Manager’s Behavior – A First After Years of Great Experiences I’ve been a loyal customer of Early Bird Brunch for years and always loved the food, atmosphere, and staff. Unfortunately, this was the first time I had such a disappointing experience. I’m pregnant and ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict, asking for the eggs to be cooked medium well since undercooked eggs can be unsafe during pregnancy. I’ve ordered it this way many times before, but this time the eggs were very runny. The host I spoke with was kind and understanding, but when I was transferred to the manager, things went downhill fast. She immediately got defensive, raised her voice, and told me to “calm down” — even though I was calm and simply explaining my concern. It honestly felt like she was gaslighting me instead of trying to listen or resolve the issue. To her credit, she did remake the order, but instead of just fixing it, she sent two versions — one perfectly cooked medium-well (exactly what I’d described) and one completely hard-poached. It came off as passive-aggressive rather than helpful. I truly hope this was just an off day for her, because I’ve always had great experiences at Early Bird. I love this restaurant, but I really hope not to have another interaction like that again.

Acadian Grille & Bar, now with a new location in Dundee, prides itself on offering an authentic Cajun experience. On Tuesdays, they feature half-price wines and Hurricane specials to capture the festive spirit of Mardi Gras. The restaurant boasts a funky yet vibrant atmosphere and serves up plenty of craft cocktails and local brews. Customers rave about the southern classics like red beans and rice as well as the shrimp and grits.
We just had a great experience having lunch here. I had the 5 pepper cream pasta and my husband had the soft crab sandwich. We shared the banana bread pudding with ice cream. We also shared an appetizer of boudin balls. Everything was very good. My husband commented that he enjoyed the sandwich more than a lobster roll. Dessert was fantastic! We chatted with the owner who has been there every time we’ve stopped there . He is always very friendly, helpful and attentive and you can tell he is passionate about his business. We sat outside on the lovely little patio. This is a great spot for a date or a few couples or even a family.

We were really impressed by the service. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered the Crawfish Étouffée and the Five Pepper Cream, and while both dishes were well-seasoned and had plenty of spice, they strangely lacked real depth of flavor. It was as if the seasoning sat only on the surface. Additionally, the dishes tasted like they had been cooked earlier in the day and then reheated, which made the experience feel less fresh. Overall, great service and setting, but the food missed the mark.

Stopped in for a late lunch so there were only a few occupied tables. Ordered the Cajun meatloaf and the catfish. The cheesy grits are amazing. The catfish was perfect. The house hot sauce had my husband momentarily communing with the Creator. Fresh brewed iced tea is always a bonus. Cornbread wasn't my favorite; more dry and cakey while I prefer mine moist and buttery. Overall a great experience and looking forward to trying desserts!

The poutine was my favorite thing we have tried there so far but I enjoyed it all. This was our first time at Acadian Grille. Good portions for each meal, tender, and SEASONED. Both of our entrees were worthy of praise but we decided the Shrimp & Grits won that night. I've been fighting the urge to go back but I think I'll be losing that battle here soon.

Ice cream shop
Dairy Chef is a beloved local spot in Omaha, NE, serving up delicious food since 1969. This family-friendly restaurant offers a variety of classic kid-friendly menu items such as burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and more. Their all-natural soft serve ice cream is a hit with visitors and comes highly recommended. The charming experience of ordering at the window and enjoying your meal at picnic tables adds to the appeal of this establishment.
We're from Kansas City, visiting Omaha to see family and they brought us here. The line was long but my in-laws said it's part of the experience and it will be worth it... And it absolutely was! All if the staff were super friendly, service was fast considering how busy it was. I was so excited for the ice cream and food, I forgot to take photos of that. 😅 I got a small chocolate cone and it was HUGE! I also got a chicken wrap and onion rings, which were fresh and delicious. It's definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

Very delicious! The ice cream was super tasty! We will be trying the food some time, so I will do a more updated review at a later date. Every time we drive by, there always seems to be a huge line and we decide to try it at another time. We finally found a time that they weren’t too busy, but we were very satisfied and we now know why they’re always so busy! We will definitely be returning!

Dairy Chef reminds me of simpler days where the family went out to a local ice cream shop. Where there were no distractions aka cell phones, social media etc. but rather families hung out together and enjoyed each others company.

Good ice cream. Not worth the wait if there’s a long line. A little inside seating mostly out side. So if it’s hot be prepared to have your ice cream melt. Burgers are some what good.

I've been a big fan of Dairy Chef since I moved to Elkhorn 5 years ago. The ice cream is fantastic, and the portions are massive. Then there is the actual food, which is phenomenal!! CLOSED - Best Bison / Fresh N Delicious is a trendy spot that offers a unique dining experience. The place features a large menu board and red lines on the floor to guide customers during busy hours. It started as a food truck and has now evolved into a sleek, modern eatery with custom-designed kiosks for ordering. The bison burger is highly recommended, along with the pommes frites and chocolate milkshake.
Omaha’s freshest new concept started with a food truck. On trend from the custom designed kiosks for ordering to the sleek and simple design of the interior. Best Bison was quick, friendly and the order was just the way we ordered it. The Bison Burger wasn’t overwhelming in size and priced at the market for the higher priced, leaner meat. The fries, though. The fries are most certainly in the top 5 in the Omaha metro area. Great experience!

Good alternative to beef. I did the build your own bowl and the cajun walnuts were delicious 😋 it compliments the chipotle aioli sauce nicely. My friend got the teriyaki chicken bowl which she loved and said she'sdefinitelygetting again (except the avacado which was super brown and mushy by the time she got it, she just picked it out).

Very good. I ordered the 1/2 Bison 1/2 Veggie burger. Only about 400 calories, moist, and delicious. I also brought home the air fries, they aren't quite as crisp as fried of course, but very good. Service was great and fast, we went to the counter and ordered, I don't like those do it yourself tablets.

I tried Best Bison for the first time today and have to say I was impressed. While the food is fresh and very tasty the real standout of this place is definitely the staff. I don't think I've ever met friendlier staff at any other restaurant. Very courteous and friendly and I was really impressed. I had the Italian Buffalo sandwich and it was very excellent. The only thing I might add to make it a true Italian beef style sandwich is to add cheese to it or have the ability to make it a meat and sausage combo sandwich. Sweet potato waffle fries were fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back to Best Bison both for food and for the service!

First time here. Very good experience. Ordered with a friend. Best Bison is working out of the trailer right now due to the virus. Great customer service and ready when they said it would be. The best part of all- the best hot dog I’ve had (being that the meat is very good). Also ordered the Reuben (not pictured here). Hot dog didn’t quite fill us up so I split the Reuben with my friend. I would recommend Best Bison.

Great newer place to grab a bite when you're in a hurry out just want to eat there. With a hostess at a podium directly in front of the door immediately when you walk in, you know this isn't going to be your typical fast food restaurant experience. Upon entering aside from the friendly hosts, you'll notice the large menu board directly behind her. Red lines on the floor are another thing that will get your attention. Clearly marking out a direction for lunch or dinner time traffic. The next thing you'll notice is the touch screens, immediately passed the hostess, complete with card scanners. If it's your first time, you might not understand what your looking at right away. It's at these touch screens that you, yourself, place your order, exactly the way you want it! No lettuce, no problem, just take it off your order. If you want their light and delicious, air fries, with less calories, or your want sweet potato fries, no problem. Just select your side. The whole thing is intuitive for those that use technology daily, and yet easy enough with directions on what to do for those who aren't as technologically savvy as most. If you're still confused, the really nice hostess at the podium, is always right there to help. After you've ordered, Filled your drink and take a seat, the next thing you'll notice above the main counter is a huge screen. It literally tells you what orders are coming up next. Ex. In my photo, it happened to say order 140 and then the customer's name to the right of it. During lunch hour, this is an awesome thing to have as the customer. Especially if you come in with hungry kiddos. They can see where your order is, in the que! There are 2 things some folks might not agree with though. First, they don't have the new, touch screen pop dispensers we've all become used to. Now, this didn't bother me in the least, but I know some folks can be a stickler about those things. The other thing is that prices are obviously a bit more than Burger King or McD's, but once you see the size of your burger, the plump pickles, the crispy fresh lettuce, and generous helping of fries, you're not going to care because it's worth every penny. The facility is immaculate too! No grease or grime, no half cleaned tables, no crumbs on the floor, simply clean everywhere! With it's modern, streamlined interior, personal touch screen interfaces, amazing food with generous side portions, and really friendly staff it's worth a trip in to check it out.

The bison burger is delicious. They even have a salad bar. My husband and I love salad bars. There are so few options in this town. The salad bar here isn't "huge", but considering the quality and freshness of the selections and it's arguably the best in town. Then consider the fact that the bison burger are healthier than regular burgers, and this is a great place for healthy food options. Great service and the cleanliness make the experience even better.

Corkscrew Wine & Cheese is a trendy wine bar and retail shop with an industrial-chic vibe. It's a popular spot known for its carefully selected wine list, flavorful cheese and charcuterie options, and a sunlit patio. The happy hour offers great deals on keg wine, draft beers, and bruschetta.
I hosted a bridal shower at Corkscrew and everything was perfect! The wine and food was fabulous, the staff was incredible and so helpful, and Jessica and her team were so wonderful throughout the planning stage. Parking is tough in Blackstone but they provided maps and info to make it easy and convenient for all of our party attendees. We loved everything so much at the shower that we ended up visiting two more times in the same weekend while we were all in from out of town. The ambiance on the patio is awesome with the fire pits and cozy seating too. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This location in Blackstone is Much Better than the Rock brook location! Hannah is an absolute treasure and takes care of her customers with an attention to detail that is unheard of. She sent us some watermelon jam that complimented our brie perfectly! She also has the perfect spirit to deal with customers! The manager, I believe his name was Preston? Was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived on the patio. The patio in Rock brook either needs a through scrubbing or the water feature needs a drain. The ambience is great if you bring your own nose plugs. Kudos to Blackstone location for not embracing a water feature. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon after an unpleasant experience at Rock brook.

Went here for a wine tasting and ended up pleasently surprised the knowledge of the sommelier knew about different regions outside the U.S. The food was excellent and was very fresh. Had the Cubano panini and priscutto banquet. Usually not a fan of pickles but on the Cubano they were very crisp and had a nice acidic taste with the creamy flavor of the sauce. They also had a good selection of wine, little sections here and there from all over. Their main selection was cabernet sauvignons from California, but overall good.

Great atmosphere. The bartender was super friendly. Loved the large bar with seating. The only thing a friend and I recommend doing is chucking the coffee candle in the women's bathroom 😉🤣 didn't smell good and instant headache. But hey, if that's the only downfall..I'd say you are doing great!

Nestled in an unassuming, old building on 16th Street, Howlin' Hounds Coffee is a beloved coffee shop in Omaha. The cozy brick-walled space features a charming tin ceiling and counter stool seating, exuding a welcoming atmosphere. The central counter serves up an array of coffee and specialty drinks, from classic americanos to velvety French presses. In addition to beverages like teas and Italian sodas, the cafe offers fresh pastries and light bites.
A little pricey for a 10 oz cup of latte ($7 before tip) but it was one of the best lattes I have had in a good long while. Definitely one of my new favorites in Omaha. I also love the aesthetic of the place; no-frills and minimalist yet classy. ☕ I'll be back!

Homemade syrups, fantastic espresso, delightful cold foam, and lovely service! The price is pretty much on par with any espresso focused place, but I would say its more worth the price than any chain and most local places I've been to. Two large lattes with cold foam and a good tip were $20

Ran in for two coffees to go and was blown away by how great this place is. The atmosphere is cozy, the owner is warm and welcoming, and the coffee is oddly one of the best ones I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back soon

Without doubt the finest coffee emporium on the continent of the 50 states of this fine nation. Worth flying in from NC for…and walking 25 mins from my hotel in -12F, for the 2 mornings I’m visiting my favorite city! Greg is a National Coffee Treasure. The Hostest with the Mostest! All hail Howlin’ Hounds! Owwwwwwwwooo!

Had a great experience at Howlin’ Hounds Coffee in downtown Omaha. I ordered a flat white and it was spot on—bold, smooth, and exactly how a classic flat white should taste. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the man at the counter was super friendly and quick with my order.

In a town full of college coffeeshops and drive thrus, Howlin Hounds seems designed to slow down. The long bar, art decked walls, and golden ceiling make this coffee stop feel mature and sophisticated. The coffee is delicious. The staff is welcoming as well as clearly knowledgeable in their craft.

They have it down to a science—whether you’re after a perfect drip or a custom-built cappuccino. The place, the people, and the coffee are the best in the Midwest. Can’t wait to visit again.

The Table Coffee Co. is a cozy coffee shop with great staff, fast service, and delicious food. It's perfect for meetings, study groups, and remote working thanks to its comfortable furnishings, speedy WiFi, and power outlets. They offer a variety of coffee drinks and desserts, all made with love.
Randomly popped in after a morning at the Durham Museum. We got the loaded waffle charcuterie board. My kiddos had hearts in their eyes when it came, such a great presentation. It tasted as delicious as it looked!! With all the toppings, fresh berries, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage there was something for all 5 of us. My son got the mango peach zinger which he said was refreshing. My husband got a caramel latte which was perfectly made. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. Our server Devon was phenomenal, friendly and great with our kids. He made us feel very welcome and taken care of. I will be recommending this place to everyone, we were very impressed.

I had the Farmers Market Skillet and the bacon & egg bagel - both were absolutely delicious! The flavor of the bagel was surprisingly rich and tasty, and the skillet, with its mix of potatoes and vegetables, was perfectly cooked - not too salty and very satisfying. The servers were also incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I'd definitely come back if I visit Omaha again!
Crescentia C — Google review
I really wanted to give it 5 stars. But unfortunately the service I got from Devin wasn’t up to par. I think he just forgot to serve us. The coffee was above average especially for Omaha. The meat lovers skillet was just okay while the waffles were delicious. So a mixed overall experience.

I was looking for an older, non-corporate cafe for breakfast and came across The Table Coffee Company. Nestled in the middle of downtown Omaha, it’s an easy access corner location surrounded by a wide variety of shops. Inside offers old wood trimming windows, brick walls, comfy booths, mixed modern furniture and a very large area for groups. The menu has a wide item variety, reasonably priced. I found the portions and taste to be excellent, as well as the coffee! Service was outstanding, with perfectly timed coffee refills well appreciated. This cafe is also very handicapped accessible. Don’t let the absence of handicap parking stop you as Omaha City ordinance allows free parking in metered stalls with disabled parking permits. I also noticed a wide variety of customers, young, old and families, all mixed together. I was surprised at the lack of noise, possibly due to the open space and high ceiling. Definitely worth checking out when in Omaha!

My wife and I are from out of town and figured this breakfast and coffee spot looked good! When we arrived, there was a short wait, maybe 15 mins but we were not greeted by the hostess at all, we showed ourselves to the bar. The service was fast but you could feel tension in the air amongst the crew. Not a very welcoming environment at the bar. The food was presented very well but the flavors and recipes were not good at all, my wife had the farmers skillet and waffles and it was very bland and tasted as if it had been reheated in microwave. I had the Cuban scramble and it was awful, whatever jalapeños were used were extremely sour and it tasted as if the juice of the jalapeño was poured all over the entire dish. The eggs were flavorless, the meat was tender and cooked well but tasted very sour and had a foul odor. We tried to be as polite as possible but neither of us could not finish our food and we normally always take our leftovers. This time we could not and the host at the bar was visibly and verbally disturbed by the fact that we did not want to take the nasty food with us. He was very rude about it and did not inquire as to if we were satisfied with our food. We would not recommend this place to anyone for food or coffee. The coffee was also a 2/10, whatever milk and flavorings were used were not mixed well or the barista had no knowledge on how to make the coffee we chose.

10/23/2025 The gang and I ended up going maybe an hour before they closed for the day but the staff had no problem setting up our group of 5 with a table. I got the caramel apple latte hot it was so warm on a chilly morning I love that they give you the choice for milk( I got oat). I got the old market berry oat bake with a side of whipped cream (personally it was a bit dry). This place has lots of seating (booths and tables) with lots of natural light a merchandise for purchase Bathroom rating: 5/5

I went to the Table Coffee Co with my family for lunch. Prices are good (for the area) and it wasn’t too busy even though it was a Saturday afternoon. This pet-friendly establishment in downtown Omaha prides itself on creating a welcoming environment for all.
Loved the Dubai Chocolate Iced Latte! It was our first time trying this place. I also had the Classic Avocado Toast and a PB Chocolate Oat bar. Just FYI, the Classic Toast has a little kick and spice (crushed red pepper). It was really good though! The atmosphere was nice and the little room off to the side was pretty quiet and chill. I'm definitely going back to try more! Update: we went back and tried the Iced White Mocha Pistachio Latte, thr Iced Belgian Latte, and Lox Toast, which I think was missing the capers but it was still good. Again, the drinks didn't disappoint.

I don’t know if there would even be words to describe how much we love Zen on Farnam. #1 coffee in Omaha. It’s not just the coffee or the avocado toast that we’re addicted to. It’s the whole vibe. It’s literally our weekend go to as often as we can. Coffee is always amazing and the girls behind the counter know how to make you feel welcome. They always look like they’re having fun and enjoy serving customers. Zen knows how to do things right!

We went in around 5:30. There was a boy and a girl working and we were not talked to once. Not even greeted, I had to initiate the greeting. After we ordered we strolled around and waited for around 3 minutes and I thought that was pretty quick for a peanut butter smoothie and a hot latte. Gave us side eyes like we were interrupting their conversation because it could not wait. When I first tasted my drink it had tasted like straight milk and protein powder. I get home and there are CHUNKS of peanut butter in my BLENDED SMOOTHIE. Very sorry to be this person

A really good coffee shop to sit and get things done! The round tables are a little small, though. The employees are kind enough, although not as personable as I would like. The service is still quick and accurate and I haven’t had anything from there (food or drink) that I haven’t liked!

I’ve been to Zen a handful of times and every time I am more and more in love. Their drinks are amazing and their seasonal coffees are the best. I typically get the coffee flight to try 4 different options at once as well has an avocado toast (11/10 love it). I saw on Omaha Eats that the buckets were recommend. I got the bucket of Banana bread coffee while my friend got the cold brew bucket. Each cost about $13 which is a steal for the amount of coffee you get. I posted my bucket below. I love the calm atmosphere and how sweet the servers are! For the amount of people in the building, they were fast and efficient! It’s great for kids too, as they have flavored juices /smoothie / tea type drinks.

Craft Sliders + Beer is a popular spot located in the historic Old Market District of Omaha. The menu features a variety of mouth-watering sliders such as classic beef, hang time chicken teriyaki, and al pastor pork loin, along with loaded fries or tots. The restaurant also offers great happy hour specials. Customers praise the quality ingredients used in their sliders, salads, and sides.
The sliders at this place are fantastic. I would highly recommend the mushroom and Swiss. The sliders are super filling despite their size. However, their side salad could be a little bigger. The vibe inside is super chill and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are super hungry, I would say it will cost between $20-30 to get full. Highly recommend this place.

Went for an early lunch - busy, limited seating and tables are small. We really wanted a table, but found 3 seats at the bar. Service - excellent, slow getting food due to how busy it was. Food - delish! We sampled a lot of different items. Price - Fair I’d highly recommend giving Craft Sliders + Beer a chance. A cozy place in the heart of downtown Omaha, minutes from local shops and carriage rides.

A great place to stop, take a load off and grab some really tasty food and beer. I had the Jalapeno slider with the fried Chicken Mac and cheese. Excellent! The service was very fast and friendly. The staff came around multiple times to check on us and to see how we were enjoying our food. My wife had the Buffalo chicken slider. It was delicious. If you aren't big on heavy buffalo sauce I would have them hold it in the side. Can't wait to go back and visit again.

Stopped by and was happy I did. One of my favorite places in the downtown area now. Service was good, very friendly and nice. The sliders were really good and they had a good variety of different styles. I got a pulled pork slider that was on special, a feta cheese type slider, onion rings and fries. I liked everything I had. They do have happy hour and reverse happy hour. They have beers on tap too which I also enjoyed. Definitely recommend stopping in and giving it a shot.
Mike B — Google review
I highly recommend the choose your own combo of sliders! A couple notes. 1. Location is slightly small but nice homey vibe 2. Food is fresh and meat is tender is juicy. I recommend getting chicken instead of burger only due to the patty size is quite small while the chicken is a good amount. 3. My favorite was the craft style burger 4. Tater tots>>>>>> Fries. Tater tots are crispy and salty just what I like. (:
KY — Google review
There's real truth in advertising, they have sliders and beer. The sliders are generally good, although I'd stay away from the Cubano as they haven't dialed in the roast pork yet. Good selection of local and regional beers. The classic slider is damn fine. If what you want is small good hamburgers and local brews... This is the place for you. The lemon chicken soup was also surprisingly good.
Mr R — Google review
Great food and really good vibe with friendly service and great '90s alternative rock music. Out of the sliders, I really loved the mushroom swiss and the hot chicken. The coleslaw and tator tots were great. For this quality of food, the price was very reasonable, so the value was really excellent. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely go back.
Matthew L — Google review
This is heavenly! I wanted to try somewhere new and picked this. I’m super proud of myself because I found stuff that both myself and my husband loved. We went with the Swiss mushroom slider and the chicken havarti cheese special slider…. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfect to split. I favored the chicken slider while my husband favored the burger surprisingly. The tots were crispy and flavored nicely. We chose the herb aioli dipping sauce that complimented the tots perfectly. I went all out and ordered the bottomless mimosas to try each flavor. Hands down peach mimosas are were it’s at. Our server was very friendly and prompt with bringing us whatever we asked for as well. I definitely want to come back with friends to share the awesomeness.

My son and I had never been to Hill of Beans and stopped in for a last minute Christmas gift. Martha was amazing! I've used various beans in my Jura Impressa C9. Kirkland House is what we use the past few years- Mostly making Americanas, occ espressos. Their "rockbrock" (something) I tried is more bland- ie. hot brown water. I went there to buy a coarsely ground decaf for a visitor to use in bypass doser. That one was OK, but nothing exceptional. Smelled great in there. They arent open on Monday so that was a wasted trip & they whip out the ole tablet when you pay asking for a tip which annoys me. Don't they pay their employees? Or is this such a complex science that they are highly skilled workers that arent reimbursed? Ridiculous.

December 10, 2020 UPDATE: Greetings from Tennessee! Another fast and professional order from the team at A Hill of Beans. I've ordered many times over the years and each and every order has came in the exact same week as I ordered. Always fresh and delicious! December 13, 2018 UPDATE: 10-Star Review - Still the best coffee in the United States! I've ordered from them on numerous occasions over the past 7-years (since I found them) and 100% of the time I'm completely happy with their service, kindness, and delivery speed. Who else sends you a nice card in your coffee order?!?!?! I'll be back! Original Review: I have been ordering coffee here over the past several years, making numerous transactions and each time the standard shipping to Tennessee is VERY fast. To me, this shows that they are consistent with getting their orders shipped the same day the order is placed, which shows they care - I appreciate that! The coffee is always delicious and nicely packaged. Best coffee EVER!

The atmosphere was fun and the outdoor space very cozy! The food was good. However, the low stars come from poor service. We ordered only to have the waitress come out AN HOUR LATER, to tell us two of the 4 items could not be made. Took 1.5 hours for the food. I feel they could have more kiosks for the orders ince the inside lines were long. We do appreciate they took 20% off for the poor service.

Good pick for large parties, really good Roy Rogers and good large serving sizes for the beers. The pretzels were quite good and the BLT was a really good run of the mill sandwich. Recommended by me.

A fantastic outdoor venue and a historical bar that's fascinating. Great service!!
Tavi B — Google review
The food was mostly disappointing, the staff was nice enough. We had kaesespaetzle, potatoe salad, cucumber salad a beer sausage and a black forest cake. For the good, the sausage and cucumber salad were actually really good. If this is only thing I had I would have left a much higher review. However, the kaesespaetzle was very bland and I have had better ones from the freezer section from a grocery store. The potatoe salad was also very bland and nothing like a potatoe salad you would find in Germany. The black forest cake is probably the main reason I am leaving a negative review, it was very flavorless and stale and the main flavor that came through was freezer burn and the cake should have been thrown out days ago I fell. We were only able to eat maybe 1/4th of it. Over all the price for the quality was way off on the food. If you want German food this place is not the best place to visit other than for the wurst. I have not tried the pretzels or flamekuchne so I can not speak for those. If you want a bar with German beer and a beer hall atmosphere this place would not be a bad choice.

Kros Strain Brewing is a delightful microbrewery and taproom that embodies the spirit of craft beer culture. Nestled in the historic Millworks Commons near downtown Omaha, this inviting space offers a rotating selection of housemade beers, ensuring there's always something new to try. Founded by friends Bobby Kros and Scott Strain, their passion for brewing has led to innovative recipes alongside beloved classics.
This place is awesome. The interior is so cool with many fun things to look at and awesome merch. The beer tender was super nice as well. The beer was delicious and always love a beer slush or option as well. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and like craft beer.
Sarah J — Google review
Kros Strain Brewing is easily one of my all-time favorite breweries — not just in Omaha, but in the entire state of Nebraska. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual beer or planning a small gathering like a birthday party, this place has the space and the vibe to make it work. The taproom is spacious and inviting, and the outdoor patio is a real highlight, offering a variety of seating options — picnic tables, standard tables and chairs, and even cozy spots around a fire pit. There’s no table service here, which keeps things relaxed — just head up to the bar when you’re ready, and the staff is always friendly, quick, and happy to offer a sample or two if you’re unsure what to order. If you’re looking to try a few things, I highly recommend going with a flight. Their beer selection is strong across the board, but Fairy Nectar is my personal favorite — it’s one of the best IPAs in the region and is widely available across eastern Nebraska. You’ll also find a well-stocked cooler for to-go cans, and they even offer kegs in various sizes for home events. Beyond the beer, Kros Strain has a great merch selection — shirts, glassware, stickers, even tap handles and branded signs. The restrooms are clean, and there’s typically a food truck parked out front, plus you’re welcome to bring in outside food. They even offer beer slushies, which are a fun twist on warm days. Overall, Kros Strain delivers a top-notch experience every single time — highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
Ovfdfireman — Google review
We held our reception at Kros Strain in May and loved the experience! Kros Strain is one of our favorite breweries and we thought there was no better place to celebrate with friends and family. The space is flexible and accommodating to large groups, and allowed us to bring in catering. The staff was incredible! Tina was great to work with throughout the planning process! She made everything easy and stress free.

This is one of my favorites! They have awesome brews and the food trucks are good too! Plus you can take the puppers with and enjoy sitting by the fire on the patio!

Came here on a Saturday at noon because my daughter, friend and I were getting pedis across the street at 1 and we wanted lunch. The rotating food trucks is fun. Burning Bridges was the food truck at that time. I ordered a burger and my daughter and friend got fried the fried chicken sandwiches. Burger was good. The fried chicken sandwiches were humongous! Neither of them could finish. And I don't like waffle fries usually because they are never crispy, but he managed crispy waffle fries! Bartender recommended two different beers and both were good. They do live music and brewery tours. Will totally be back!!
Mrs B — Google review
Was visiting from the east coast and this is one of several breweries I visited. The beer here is tasty. The ferme foeder saison tasted like pickles, not my favorite. The barrel aged Octoberfest was great. The orange tangerine crush sour tasted like the soda but more tart. The sippy cup lager tastes like your standard domestic beer - nothing special. The double hopped fairy nectar was my favorite. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Some snacks here but there was a food truck outside. Decor is interesting and fun.
Jesse P — Google review
Professional bar staff. Not overly chatty with us. Pro tip: no food here!! But they are cool if you order and get it delivered. So if you're hungry you might want to order a little earlier and time it. They were nice enough to let me get a shot of the beer pour when I asked. The flagship flight was great. $10.75 for 5 (4oz) pours. You get to choose 2 while the other 3 are static. My friend loved the place and wants to come back. He also likes the merchandise. They have some interesting offerings including a lot of their bar glasses for sale, shirts, hats and even dog treats made from the leftover grain. Parking is available in a large lot.

JINYA Ramen Bar in Omaha is part of a chain with locations across the US. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior is sleek and dark, offering a sophisticated ambiance. Customers recommend trying dishes like Jinya and Ika, which offer a variety of flavors based on the type of broth and toppings chosen. The restaurant offers an upscale experience at an affordable price, with appetizers and small plates priced under $10.
Absolutely one of my favorite spots in Omaha for ramen! They have the best ramen in all the city when it comes to the variety of appetizers, ramen and personalized bowls. If you dine in the atmosphere is just a good vibe all around and I've never had a bad experience other that add one on a dash order that were missing but the owner put me on a roster for being missed those and the next time I did the same order gave me credit and a fix to the solution. Highly recommend their shrimp wonton soup! It's my favorite and never disappoints!

Excellent ramen spot! We arrived 30 minutes before closing on a weekday with a party of six, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We placed our order quickly, and the food arrived fast. The tonkotsu ramen was my favorite—rich and flavorful—though the rice bowl was also very good. The JINYA Bun made for a tasty appetizer, and the kids’ meal (chicken ramen with extra chicken, rice, and fries) was a great option for younger eaters. We also ordered extra noodles to enjoy with the leftover broth—only $3 and totally worth it. Don’t forget to try to Panna Cotta, very good! Overall, this is some of the best ramen I’ve had and a great spot for anyone in the Omaha area.

I had never had ramen at a restaurant before so I was excited to try this place when my son offered to buy my husband and I dinner here for Father's Day. But unfortunately it was just ok for me. The best thing about this restaurant is that they give you stickers with your bill!!

Amazing experience at Jinya Ramen Bar! 🍜👌 This restaurant is a true gem in Omaha 🌟. The customer service is great 🤩, the staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food 👨‍🍳. The food is authentic and delicious 🍴, each dish is a work of art 🎨. I loved the variety of options on the menu 📚, from classics like tonkotsu to more innovative options 🔥. Each bite is an explosion of flavors and textures 🤤. The presentation is impressive 📸, the dishes are designed to be a visual and gustatory experience 👀. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and modern 🏠, with a touch of Japanese tradition 🌸 that is reflected in the decor and music. I have been coming here for about a year now (wish I would have found out about this place sooner!) and Theresa is my server 90% of the time. I’m not sure how our schedules always seem to line up but they do. I just have to say she is absolutely amazing. She is always, always extremely nice and personable and makes me feel welcome and at home. She remembers me when I walk through the door and always gives me a compliment of some kind, which is just above and beyond any type of service I’ve ever received anywhere else. She truly is a breath of fresh air in what can be a cruel world. I look forward to seeing her when I come here. Today she made me the most delicious margarita even though it wasn’t something on the menu ☺️☺️ she always makes my experience fantastic, the food is already amazing, so with her service on top of the delicious food, just a 20/10 experience every time I eat here. Would absolutely recommend. This is by far the best ramen in Omaha.

Went here to dine in for the first time and the food is to die for! I love ramen so I was excited to try their new birria ramen…and let me just put yall on so good! The broth was so flavorful and filling! Bryan/Brian was our server and he was serving smiles and great service! It was a little warm in there but the kitchen is open and it is summer so dress accordingly or you may be hot eating that hot bowl of ramen lol. 10/10 for sure will be back! Oh and the pork gyozas, fresh, juicy and flavorful!!!😋

Joanne took wonderful care of me. It was busy and she still made the time to serve me and help me through the menu. Excellent cocktail maker too. I haven't been here in 5 years. It was terrible last time. BUT redemption. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend.

The restaurant offers various dining options such as takeaway orders and the purchase of frozen dumplings to enjoy at home. Customers who choose to dine in can indulge in the flavorful house-made chili sauce. This dim sum spot has gained popularity for making comfort food trendy. With a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, Hip Bao provides an exceptional dining experience at affordable prices.
My 2.5 year old LOVES Steam buns. We found this place online and had to try it. We can definitely say our little one enjoyed the buns! The service was amazing! We got our food fast, we got some phenomenal hot sour soup and they actually got us some milk for our daughter, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Try the custard bao, it’s a nice sweet pillow cloud treat! We will come back to try the noodle dishes!
Jasmine G — Google review
Pretty tasty overall, and the service was excellent. As others have said, the buns do have a lot of dough. More filling would definitely be better. Either way, the prices are reasonable, and they have fun things to try.
Alex W — Google review
I give this place a 3.5 if Google has the option. The food wasn't bad, it was moderately seasoned but all the dishes I had weren't that special in taste. The buns had too much dough. The scallion pancakes were oily and hard as they were a bit over fried. The price was reasonable compared to the quality. Bring your own water or buy them at the restaurant. The owner was nice. They have a station of utensils and sauce for you to mix. The place can be a bit warm and humid inside, especially in the summer. There were plenty of tables, but I went when the place just opened so not many people came in.

This is a great place to try Bao! I highly recommend the Beef Noodles also! We got a large variety to share and ended up with a lot of yummy leftovers.
Breanna L — Google review
There's a reason my family keeps coming back to Hip Bao. When it comes to entrees, the noodle dishes are exceptional; my husband always orders the beef noodle soup, and I tend to get the Beijing pork noodles. The broth, meat, and noodles are all flavorful and abundant! But let's be honest, we're all here for the dumplings! We haven't had a bad plate yet. The fried pork bao and the beef potstickers are both family favorites, and we always order the taro bao or red bean bao when we want something just a little bit sweet. And can we PLEASE talk about those earth-shatteringly crispy scallion pancakes? Heaven on earth. Many thanks to the staff at Hip Bao for serving up such wonderful food. For as long as you keep this quality, we'll keep coming back!

Every time I come here, the food is amazing!! The owners are so sweet, they offered me some free soup while I waited for my food, the customer service is so great!!

Stopped in and was amazed by the food and friendliness of the staff! The lady at the front was especially caring. Ordered the Scallion Pancake, Pork Baos, Beef Potstickers, and the Beijing Zhajiang Mian. With a $25 min purchase, also got a free hot and sour soup. This soup is one of the best things I have ever had. I don’t know if it was because I was starving but it was tangy with the perfect amount of spice on cold winter day. The scallion pancake and potstickers were my favorite dishes, with great balance of chewiness in the skin and juiciness inside.

Very nice spot. Friendly woman behind the counter helped us make solid choice on food selection as it was our first time visiting. We had Pork Fried Bao, Crab Rangoon and pork dumpling noodle soup. I must say the Rangoon had solid crab flavor to it but my favorite had to be the soup. Delicious broth. I would definitely visit again to try other menu options.

Absolutely phenomenal in every way, this is the best coffee shop in Omaha. Their specialty coffee drinks are balanced and delicious, never too sweet or lacking. Even their cold brew straight is darn good. Also, THE BAGELS. Order them. Savor them. Huge shout out to the staff as well, really welcoming and friendly while also lightning fast!

It’s my first time here and I got pistachio Truffle iced coffee. It was amazingly delicious. Servers were really kind and the place was giving me 90’s vibes. They also have outdoor sitting area so it was really fun to enjoy my coffee with this beautiful weather. Looks like m coming back to this place:)

As first-time customers, we were excited to try this café. Unfortunately, we will not be returning for coffee. We ordered a creamy caramel frozen coffee, an iced turtle coffee, and a pumpkin muffin. While the muffin and the service were great, we were disappointed with the coffee. The caramel drink tasted more like coconut, and the turtle coffee just wasn’t good. However, the atmosphere was cute, and the service was excellent!

Love the re-brand! There is only outdoor seating, but a very convenient drive-thru as well. I got a plain ol' latte for $4, which I found to be very reasonably priced for Omaha. They also carry their own beans and sell syrup bottles. Great service, and a wide variety of snack options, too. ☕

I always have a good experience at Rally Coffee Co. They know exactly how to make a perfect Cappuccino. Their merch wall is enticing. I stumbled upon this place while on a work trip and decided to pop in for a quick bite and caffeine. I didn’t have any high expectations, just grab my things and go but I was so pleasantly surprised! The breakfast sandwich was made fresh and was absolutely delicious. I ordered a matcha latte and the barista was super helpful with helping me customize my drink. I immediately felt comfortable and actually decided to settle inside to have my breakfast. So glad I came across Rally Coffee! Highly recommend for some good vibes and the quality menu!

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I had to try it. The interior was so cozy and beautifully designed. The servers were kind and welcoming. I tried the strawberry rose matcha latte. Honestly I was expecting better drink. It did not taste like strawberry, it tasted like rose milk. I’m not sure if I’m coming back.

No matter where we visit, we’re always on the hunt for a great coffee shop. And of all the places, all over the world, that we’ve been, Rally continually beats out everyone else. Taste is the number one factor, of course, and with meticulous attention to quality and detail not to mention the homemade syrups, this is where Rally shines. On top of that, you also get great atmosphere and a fun location. The downtown location is walkable to most of the major attractions, and now with the addition of the beautiful new second location in Gretna, west Omaha also gets to experience great coffee. And Rally IS an experience, and they’ve perfected it.

I’m visiting Omaha for the first time and I’m so glad I found Rally! Their coffee is so good, baristas are friendly, vibes are great, and their toast is to die for. Yes, I know, it’s a coffee shop and I’m talking about the toast, but it honestly deserves a spotlight, too. I’ve had the avocado toast and the cinnamon sugar toast, (I’ve now been here twice) and they were both so delicious. If you’re in the area, swing by and check it out!!

For those seeking a traditional breakfast experience, they serve indulgent dishes like Chicken Fried Steak and Double Standard, along with a sweet treat like the Old Fashioned Donut.
visited Good Lookin on a Saturday morning and was impressed by the set up. You order your food and then find a seat, which is indicative of a place that gets a lot of traffic. They have water and coffee stations so you don't have to wait for a refill. The food was delicious! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with sausage and a side of crispy potatoes. I did not have to add any sauces, even to the potatoes. I would recommend this place and will be visiting again next time I am in town.

What an amazing place with a great menu! We enjoyed the Gather Bowl (HIGHLY SUGGEST) and the Ricotta Cinnamon Pancakes (Also HIGHLY RECOMMEND). We did not realize we would need to order at a counter and then find a seat. However, we did not run into any issues finding an open table once one opened up! Would definitely come back next time we are in town!

Nice place to eat in a charming neighborhood. The menu is relatively small, but it has lots of interesting items like this Churro French Toast. You order your food and drinks right at the entrance then seat yourself. The atmosphere is nice, but the parking is kind of tricky: It’s all off street. Overall, though it’s a cool place with unique twists on breakfast staples like eggs Benedict.

We came here on June 16th 2025, Renee K was our sever. Probably the worst experience I’ve had. They do a order and pay stand when you walk in our food was $43.65 I went to grab my card grabbed the wrong one and said one sec, she rolled her eyes at us, and then when I went to pay the screen glichted out and went past the screen to tip then said it was $54.36 I said what? I thought it was $43 something and she said well I can’t go back. Very rude. The food okay but not great, all the meat products were so gross like they were fake and grilled on the sidewalk, very plain and not seasoning. Appeared good very disappointing.

Heard about their breakfast burrito and had to have one. Delicious! The service was kind and the food came out fast, and the spot itself was clean and inviting.

Breakfast was excellent. They have a unique pancake batter recipe that is quite good. And their potatoes are so good, no one else makes them this way that I know of. Mini spuds, smashed and cooked to a perfect crisp. Nice casual atmosphere. An impressive menu, with great prices. The only thing I wasn't fond of was that the coffee was extremely strong today. Other than that, everything was wonderful. A historic building, in a lovely historic neighborhood ♥︎

Ika San Ramen and Izakaya is a unique Asian eatery and bar located in the heart of Benson, offering a modern take on traditional Japanese ramen. The restaurant provides a hip ambiance and a diverse menu featuring dishes like paitan ramen, shoyu ramen, and pork belly steamed buns.
I had the spicy seafood ramen, (with less spicy sauce) and some kimchi tempura. Loved it all I recommend my Dad and brother Tonkatsu (they have never had ramen before) they were both happy with their food. I appreciate the unique atmosphere. We had to ask a stranger in the street where the ramen shop was. Didn't see it down the alley. Additional signage may be helpful for first time visitors. Thank you for the wonderful food! Would absolutely come back and recommend to friends.

Was obsessed with this place but it’s so inconsistent and the last time I went they changed the recipe to some of my favorite dishes. Tokyo friend chicken and Brussels sprouts are different now and do not taste good (before and after) even tho service was terrible the food always made me come back. I’m missing it now and wish I could get it again but it’s not the same

Was really mediocre but I went towards closing on a frozen night so maybe that's why? The gorgeous bartender was super nice and the server was cool, although hahaha it was so funny when I asked his favorite rice bowl and he was like "... yeah I don't eat those bruh," love it. Noodles seemed still like frozen or stuck together. Char siu was tough as leather. Broth was OK. Would return to try something else like the rice bowls that guy didn't eat and give it another day chance or more drunk chance, but otherwise first impression was, meh, ok with nothing else open.

Went during the CWS for dinner and was able to get right in. Cool location in Old Market with an alleyway entrance. Food exceeded my expectations with the Maryjane broth being a unique flavor that I haven't had before in Ramen. They didn't have the ingredients for the cocktail that I ordered but the bartender was able to make me something similar that was very good.

**Negative Review for Ika Ramen** I recently visited Ika Ramen at 1114 Jones St, Omaha, NE, after hearing some recommendations, but my experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, I was struck by the unfriendly demeanor of the waitress, who asked me why I was there, which felt quite off-putting. To make matters worse, my food arrived cold. I mentioned this to the waitress, and she took my bowl back, assuring me they would remake it. However, to my dismay, they returned my same cold bowl instead. At that point, I had lost my appetite, and I promptly asked for the check. I paid and left, disappointed with the service and food quality. I can confidently say that neither I nor my network will ever return to Ika Ramen. Avoid this place if you value good food and service!

Terrible experience with ordering to go today. After getting to my car to check everything is correct, I realize we’re missing a ramen so we go inside to inquire about it. It was ONLY then were we notified that they in fact didn’t have all the ingredients for said ramen ?? and they had already issued the refund for it. Wow. It’s not even the first time I’m told they don’t have something they’re selling on the menu, just to get refunded. I highly encourage if you do order to go, to check your bag since it seems they won’t tell you if you’re getting your full order or not.

My boyfriend brought me here because of my insatiable desire to eat ramen whenever we're visiting a new place together. The ramen here was good, but pretty average. They were both beautiful plated, however. The cocktails on the other hand were tasty but lacked design. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Dark, kind of sexy but hip. Kind of got lost trying to find the place. The person being trained served us at the bar. I like eating at the bar. Servers/bartenders were very attentive. We were also the only ones in there around 5:30pm on a Tuesday. I guess we were there during Happy Hour so prices were pretty decent. Portion sizes are generous. Might try the other locations when we're back in Omaha.

Located in Rockbrook Village, Omaha, The Hunger Block is a Venezuelan restaurant that offers a diverse selection of Latin American dishes. Opened in May 2018 by owners Mendez and Rognny Diaz, the restaurant serves up flavorful arepas, street tacos, parrilla platters, and indulgent 'freak shakes' in Oreo, vanilla, or chocolate flavors. The menu also features dishes from other South American countries like Colombia, Argentina, and Peru.
I just fell in love with this place because of their milkshake! It’s huge, colourful, messy, tempting and great in taste. Definitely instagramable. We also tried hamburger their and it was also delicious. They have outer patio seating area which is very nice for summer. They provide the first chips for free.
DJ — Google review
Food was good! I enjoyed the atmosphere! Milkshake is huge and very authentic food! Fast delivery of food as well which is good! Some constructive criticism: server was nice but no one picked up the plates after we were done or the menus. It was kind of messy. Especially when we ordered desserts. I just feel its table side manner to help clean the table after people are done. Especially when it’s not super busy and people are standing around. Being a previous server, that would be my only complaint.
KY — Google review
I was really excited to eat at this place. I heard so many great things about it and every picture I saw of the food looked amazing. In my honest opinion I feel like the menu is just a little complicated. They claim there is a mixture of American and Hispanic food, but the common American could never navigate through that menu if they're not a food novice of some sort. Yes, you could ask your server for help. But, wouldn't it be much easier if it was user-friendly to begin with? The food was decent. Nothing extraordinary that stood out. I had tacos. There were nothing special about these tacos as opposed to other establishments that serve tacos. Yes I would eat the tacos again. On a scale of 1-10, I would give them a 6. I'll go back, but I won't go out of my way to go back....not for the food anyways. That milkshake though? Most definitely!
Andrew M — Google review
We ordered the Todo o nada (aka: appetizer sampler) and the parrilla mixta. I asked if it came with plantains and they said yes even though on the menu it's only on the xl one. All the food was fine aside from the corn meal Masa that was so hard we couldn't cut through it or chew through it. We let the server know and they did bring us a fresh one that was fine. The middle was flavorless, but the end pieces had a lot of stuff. Noteworthy items were the queso fingers. That was the first thing I ate, so my expectations were higher from that. Turned out that was the highlight to my meal. The avocado served on the side is salted (good thing), their pico de Gallo is great and their sauces that come with the meal, the avocado and the Salvadoran mayo are also great. Their meat was average to good. I didn't have a complaint aside from expecting more... Flavor? The chorizo had it but it wasn't so unique that I felt I would need to go back for more. Service was firmly in the ok. She corrected the issue when we asked. She just was not very enthusiastic about her job or the food which can affect perception. The food makes beautiful pictures. I'd try this place again, hoping that maybe I ordered the wrong things? It's not that the meat platter is bad, but it's just rather ordinary. If you add the sauce that really does help a lot, but I think I would have wanted one more different kind of sauce to go with it.
Wai C — Google review
Let’s just start with complimentary chips and fresh salsa. Fun environment and interesting menu options. There really isn’t anything else like it in the are. Although I believe Benson, Blackstone or Downtown is a better location for this type of restaurant, it works. Order the milkshake, you’ll be glad you did. Drawbacks? The choice of country music didn’t work with the vibe. Quality of food and pricing is on point.
Joseph K — Google review
Ok, first of all. The service was absolutely amazing. Greeted with happy workers..Chips, salsa and water all within 15 seconds of sitting down. The food was incredible. I had a double hamburger (crushed potato chips, coleslaw, fried egg...) I also ordered the Latin Nachos knowing I couldn't eat it all but wanted to taste everything ok the menu. My wife had the Papita.. possibly spelled that wrong. She loved it. What originally brought us to this restaurant was their shakes which my wife enjoyed very much lol. To top it off, the owner came over to ask how our meal was once while eating and once before the bill came. I knew he was trying to make sure we were fully satisfied and to show appreciation for us coming in. This kind of service is top notch and far too uncommon these days so was very refreshing. Oh by the way, did I mention we arrived at 8:17pm when the close at 8:30? They didn't make us feel uncomfortable at all and wanted us to stay even though we offered to leave since we didn't know they were close to closing. I'm not from Omaha but I will stop in to try something different on the menu every time I'm passing through.

Our work team went here for a Birthday lunch and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Our server was very helpful in describing the South American dishes, including showing us examples on her tablet. Came into the bar about an hour before close and the bartender was super nice. Was kinda bummed out that we just missed the last call for dinner, but the drinks for sure made up for it. The Seasonal Cocktail menu consist of Friends character names, and as a big fan of Friends myself it went along way. Order the Chandler and Monica and they were delicious. Also indulged in the Moonshine and it was really great, strong and had a firm sweetness. Over all the vibes are really great, and would recommend stopping in.

I had a great time at Brickway when I visited them in May 2025. The bartender, Matt, was very friendly and generous with his pours :) I really enjoyed the whisky flight and the Omaha Style IPA. Bonus points for the creative cocktail names - it evoked nostalgia with me remembering my college music playlist! The previous month's cocktails were inspired by the 6 Friends of the eponymous TV show.

OK, this is dangerous territory. I’m about to state in a personal opinion, This might be one of the best breweries in the area for downtown Omaha. There are plenty of choices. You be the judge but what a great experience stayed outside but indoor seating is beautiful. they do tours and very unique Beer options and drinks. Also, they have standard nachos with salsa and pretzels for snack snacks

Love the classic bar/distillery look. Great beers and spirits. For my wife, they have a Tom Collins on the menu. Not many bars have that drink on the menu, let alone can make it correctly.
Doug B — Google review
Highly recommend doing the tour. You get a ton for your $25 ticket... free pint, discount on alcohol, tastings and a really fun time. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable too and she was able to answer all our questions. As someone who's been on several brewery and distillery tours, this one didn't disappoint. Oh, and the product they produce is fantastic as well!

My daughter and I recently hosted a bridal shower in their back room and it was a wonderful experience. They were super easy to work with and the facility is perfect for that sort of thing. Jess was our bartender and she was super helpful with setting things just the way we wanted and very friendly to all our family and guests. I highly recommend working with this business.

Great beer and whiskey. Love the single malt Brickway whiskey. We did the tour with Kristen. Informative and fun. Outstanding Midwest brewery and distillery!
M F — Google review
Great brewery, decent beer selection with a couple from each major type. No real food on site but you can BYO or order from Zio's Pizzaria with free delivery to the taproom.

The atmosphere is vibrant and buzzing with energy, perfect for those nights when you just want to have a good time and meet some fantastic people. The staff? Absolute legends. They’re friendly, attentive, and somehow manage to keep the party vibes high while still making sure you feel right at home. It’s like hanging out at your best friend’s house, except your best friend’s house has an amazing bar, a killer playlist, and a crowd that’s just as eager to have fun as you are.If you’re looking for a spot where you can laugh, dance, and maybe even make a few new friends, Blackstone Social is where you need to be. If you're out and about, come check out this really nice bar in the Blackstone district of Omaha. Incredible service from the Bartenders and wait staff. This establishment is small, but the vibe is exceptional. They have a nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating to enjoy the nice weather and a few stiff drinks.

Ashley was in charge, and she was terrific. Handled me sainted mother with care, and mixed her a couple of excellent cosmos. Just a really fantastic person. 🤙

Great, quaint bar in a newly developed spot. Highly recommend. Friendly service and excellent, creative drink selections. You won't be disappointed!

Good atmosphere, Bloddy Mary was good, but not the best. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Wouldn’t let someone who was clearly 21 in stating that they didn’t know how to read an out of state ID.

Came here for New Year’s Eve from Texas, guy bar tender was rude and money hungry. Bar tender got mad because I didn’t want to tip on my card, and threw the tray like a toddler. I prefer tipping cash because I work and receive tips also, and cash is king. I wanted an old fashion and he couldn’t make it only 2 ingredient drinks. Didn’t make any drinks I liked only basic drinks and expect to get tipped $20 a drink. You never know who you are serving, be kind. Happy new Year

Great atmosphere. Not overly big, but creates a venue of intimacy and hanging out with new people. Bartenders are great, very clean, just a wholesome place to hang out with friends for some good laughs and dancing in the aisles.

Located in the charming Historic Benson Neighborhood, Infusion Brewing Company is housed in a beautifully restored 1917 Olson's Meat Market. The brewery offers a selection of seven signature brews, with their famous Vanilla Bean Blonde being a standout favorite among patrons. The taproom exudes a welcoming atmosphere and features an array of delectable beers to enjoy with friends.
This brewery is best for true average beer drinkers who want the taste of classic beers as well as inventive and creative beers. They have been brewing since 2012. Also, they stick to the tradition of having special events and price discounts, where many places merely charge the rack rate and provide nothing else. The staff is always friendly. Parking is free and newly paved. Breadsticks, pizza, and other items are offered, including local THC drinks. This place may be a bit out of your way as it is in a more secluded development, but worth the travel.

Great place, nice selection of beers (14), very good overall. Service was outstanding, they were giving out free pizza, I think they want people to try it, it was good. Indoor and outdoor seating; I'll be back. 🍻

So, I finally decided to infuse my life with some hops and barley at Infusion Brewing, and let me tell you, it was a brew-tiful experience! Devon, our beer guide extraordinaire, was very accommodating. Infusion Brewing is a great spot to chill, sip, and maybe even lick your way through a good time.

Ordered a flight and was happy with the variety - pretty decent beer. Negative for me...the bar and tables were extremely sticky and the bathroom needed a good cleaning.
Amy S — Google review
Friendly staff! Dogs used to be allowed inside until pizza oven got installed. The girls and I love spending time on the patio.
BishopK — Google review
Friendly staff and good beers make this a nice place to go. The ambiance is pretty generic. Servers were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. There is a small parking area to the side of the building, but we ended up parking across the street. There's nothing negative to say about them so... 5 🌟 I tried 2 beers. One was not to me liking but I'm also not a big beer drinker. My friends who I went with enjoy your place a lot.

We did Bingo night with the Grinch yesterday and had a great time! Excellent selection of beers!
Daydreanne L — Google review
Love the feel in their taproom, and they have a lot of great tasting beer. This is a great place to grab a few beers with friends. Vanilla Bean Blonde is one of the best, drinkable beers I have ever had, and their Dominican Republic Brown is very flavorful and unique. My husband loves the Joel Porter, one of his favorite beers of all time.

Nepalese restaurant
Kathmandu Momo Station is a cozy eatery offering Nepalese street food dumplings in a brick-lined setting. Co-owned by Sagar Gurung and Aagya Subedi, the restaurant specializes in Nepalese dumplings and Burmese ramen, unique dishes not commonly found elsewhere in the city. The menu features three types of momos - pork, chicken, and vegetarian - served with a variety of mild to spicy sauces.
We had a wonderful dinner a few weeks ago. Everything was made expertly, you can tell that the chefs are passionate about what they do. Staff and service were exceptional. Drinks were well mixed. Would absolutely recommend for a fancier date night, or a casual spot. Perfect for both. Will visit again next time we are in Omaha.
Z H — Google review
Dumplings and beef hot dogs are delicious. After eating dumplings, we added an extra portion.
Aelita N — Google review
Didn't expect to find good Asian food in Omaha, particularly Nepalese! Stopped by for a weekday lunch and we were the only people in the restaurant. Our server was very kind and helpful, as neither of us are familiar with Nepalese cuisine. The lunch menu is quite limited - your food options are aloo chops, which are deep fried crispy potato patties and fried/steamed momos (Nepalese dumplings) in pork, chicken, or vegan. We ordered the aloo chops and steamd pork + chicken momos. Everything was delicious! I'd recommend getting all four sauces too - they really add to the momos. Pricing was very fair as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Chanda was our server this night she was nice and sweet she helped us understand the menu… since it’s a tiny bit small… but DAAAMN it’s astronomical every dish is made to perfection! Chef if you read this keep doing what you do I had a mouth-gasm 😂 Also we came at night and the have live music Tonight we had “Latino Night” @latino.son.night Their voices 💯 the vibe was amazing Worth coming and worth the price it’s an amazing experience Ps: don’t worry too much about the outside atmosphere… it’s worth coming in
Jay A — Google review
I visited Omaha for a family gathering, and we decided to eat out. I've been craving momo for a long time, and as a vegetarian, it's challenging to find good vegetarian options. Luckily, I discovered a hidden gem called Momo Station. I must say, the vegan momo was perfect. It was juicy and had a mild flavor on its own, but when paired with the slightly tangy and spicy chutney, it created a burst of flavors in my mouth. For my main course, I had tagliatelle with burrata cheese. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised—the pasta was exquisite and has quickly become one of my favorites. I can't imagine how they manage to prepare other dishes with such perfection. Now, for the best part: the drinks. I ordered a Manhattan, and it was so good that I ended up having three glasses! If you want to know how great it is, you have to check out this place. My relatives, who are non-vegetarians, ordered fish and meat dishes and loved them. The service was exceptional. Although I can't remember my server's name, she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We were also fortunate that the sous chef visited our table to explain the artistry behind the dishes. So, it's a resounding yes from me! If you're in Omaha, you must visit Momo Station, where the prices are very affordable compared to other restaurants. Here are some pictures that will surely entice you to check out “KATHMANDU MOMO STATION.”

Fantastic meal, we had lunch and were well taken care of by the owners and chef. We were explained the slight difference in Nepalese dumplings and what to expect and told the best sauce pairings based on our orders. Loved it!

Momos have our heart !! ❤️ We've always gone to the inner rail location and while downtown we decided to stop at the new location. Love the atmosphere!
Malachite — Google review
I ate here last year during travel for a conference and have been dreaming of these momos ever since. We call them "a hug in a dumpling." Rocky and his staff are so kind and accommodating. They will be happy to explain the menu. Yes, the aloo chops are just as good as others say. And if you have a chance, finish your meal off with the chai panna cotta. I'll see you in my dreams, momos!

Vitality Bowls is a great spot to enjoy a wide range of juices and acai bowls, making it perfect for fruit lovers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their organic ingredients, offering an array of menu selections including sandwiches and bowls. The Nutty Bowl comes highly recommended for its delicious taste and filling nature. Additionally, the pitaya bowl with various add-ins is also a popular choice among visitors.
Delicious, and healthy superfood cafe located in Aksarben. They offer catering as well. Kids options available. Kids table with arts and crafts inside. Nice seating for groups. Wifi available inside the cafe. Super high quality ingredients. Great place to stop in for a healthy option on the go for your energy or immunity needs.
Tecoria S — Google review
Food was overpriced and mediocre at best to their benefit they did seem to care about the quality of their ingredients. Unfortunately the service was less than. The young woman behind the counter seemed put off that she had to come out of the kitchen and take our order and then shocked that we wanted to actually sit and eat our meal. Probably won't be back.

I got the vitality bowl. It was a bit too sweet but good. The server was kind and friendly. Absolutely loved the interior.

This is my favorite smoothie bowl place in town! Great service and amazing food.
Sara B — Google review
I'm not one to leave negative reviews but service just wasn't there. We came in ordered a custom bowl and a smoothie, we got our food just fine but when we opened the bowl half of it was all granola. We paid for extra base and just got mainly granola with a thin layer of base. We haven't had issues before but this was not ok.
Tony P — Google review
First of all I LOVE vitality bowl, I frequent it often. However I got a grilled cheese and paid for $3.00 add in of chicken for a protein and when I got home there was no chicken in my sandwich :( even though I paid extra. Other than that great and refreshing food.
J Y — Google review
Thanks for offering heart healthy foods that I can share with my parents guilt free. Food is love and Vitality Bowls is a big ol' heap of love in a wrap, bowl, or cup. 💕
Sarah F — Google review
I ordered a large order via DoorDash. The restaurant did not give my DoorDash driver one of the bags. Unfortunately, the solution for me to get the remaining bag was to have one of my coworkers leave work to drive to retrieve the bag or call door dash. While they were amenable to making us new food after all of this because it had been sitting out so long- our salads arrived without dressing and 2 hours after I ordered the original order. We were given a couple coupons but no other compensation. Really disappointed in this order.

Howard Street Wine Merchant, owned by renowned chef Paul Kulik, offers a fantastic selection of Old World wines. The adjacent Le Bouillon shares a similar wine collection. The knowledgeable and friendly staff, including wine merchant manager Alex Nelson, are changing the way people perceive and appreciate wine. The shop provides a great atmosphere for discovering enjoyable wines from small producers. Additionally, customers can enjoy the excellent wine tasting setup and even take a bottle to dine at Le Bouillon or Mon Cave.
Great selection of wine and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff! They also have a great wine tasting setup and you can grab a bottle and dine at Le Bouillon or take it down to Mon Cavé!

Only had some apppitizers but they were yummy. Deep fried cheese curds were lightly breaded and had some green onion bits. Much lighter version than the typical kind and were great with O Gold beer. The burnt end corn dogs were an amazing riff on the fletcher corn dogs that are a staple at most southern state fairs. Batter was crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Slightly sweet and the homemade ketchup paired well. The smoked cream cheese salmon spread on their homemade bread was crazy good. Plenty of salmon in the spread so the cream cheese didn't overpower the flavors. The homemade bread was like Texas toast on steroids! I could eat a whole loaf of that bread.
