I recently visited Coneflower Creamery and tried their roasted pistachio and hazelnut ice cream flavors. Unfortunately, both tasted pretty basic and didn’t stand out in any special way. Given the high Google Maps rating, I was expecting something more memorable—maybe the other flavors are better, but I’m not sure. The shop itself is quite small with no real space for sitting, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Overall, I’d give the experience around 2.5 to 3 out of 5.

Greetings from Indiana! We were in Omaha for a robotics competition and had the pleasure of visiting Coneflower Creamery—thanks to a local artist at Hot Shops who highly recommended it. Having traveled far and wide—from Asia to California to New York and many places in between—I can confidently say Coneflower serves the best ice cream we’ve ever had. Their meticulous attention to flavor and quality truly sets them apart. During our visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Brian, who I later found out is the owner. With his signature handlebar mustache, he was humble, welcoming, and made our experience all the more memorable. He even graciously posed for a photo when I asked! The next day, we stopped by their Millwork location, where all the ice cream magic happens. The team went above and beyond to accommodate my son’s food allergies, even preparing fresh batches just for him. Their thoughtful care meant the world to us. We also loved the decor and the unique viewing area where you can see the “ice cream lab” in action. Everything about the experience was so delightful, we couldn’t leave without picking up a T-shirt (the yellow one with the cone and flowers—of course!). We’ll definitely be back!

Coneflower Creamery did not disappoint! The ice cream is delicious and there are lot of unique flavors. The hardest part is deciding which ones to get! We loved the sweet corn, tart cherry crumble and butter brickle!

Highest quality ice cream in a great variety of both classic and unique flavors. We had an ice cream sandwich and the chocolate chip cookie made in-house was also fantastic. I love ice cream and seek it out whenever we're in a new city and Coneflower is absolutely worth going out of your way for.

It’s the best ice cream in Omaha. The waffle cone enrich the ice cream. My personal favorite is pistachio. Please give a try during your visit in Omaha.

My family and I finally got around to trying the ice cream here but unfortunately we thought the place was just okay at best. I was very surprised to see such a limited selection of ice cream flavors. My mint cookie was very much lacking on the cookie part. I got a one scoop cone and ended up with twice as much ice cream as my husband and daughter got in their one scoop dishes. The employees weren't very friendly either.

This ice cream store was wonderful on all levels. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly. They took care of our gluten-free needs with care. The product was perfect for all age groups. The ambience was relaxing.

My wife ordered their 3 month gift package with 4 pints per month. So far in 2 months, there have been a couple of repeat flavors. And unfortunately, the ice cream is just average. Frankly, our local Handel’s has better ice cream for WAY less money. The flavors are somewhat bland, and their “Praline Pecan” and “Buttery Nut Crunch” flavors are nothing more than a pint of vanilla ice cream with a bunch of pecan pieces. Definitely no PRALINE or caramel.

My husband and I saw this on Shark Tank and I love ice cream so I figured it was worth a shot. I placed the order and just a few days later it arrived which was great! The ice cream tasted fantastic, my only complaint is the peanut butter ice cream tasted pretty plain. We agreed we could get this for way cheaper around the corner, and better, too. For 4 pints of ice cream shipped to us it was almost $85. We're glad we tried it but it was a one and done for us

I sent personalized birthday pints to my son in law for his birthday while his boys were visiting from out of town. I have sent eCreamery previously and it is a very sweet gift. I made a big deal of it as they live in a hot climate. With two boys and a newborn they were juggling a lot and I made sure they would be around for delivery, but the delivery never came as promised on his birthday. I didn’t receive notice from eCreamery that it would be late. I checked fedex (the carrier) to see that it was routed elsewhere. Long story short…the product arrived two days late, not dry ice, pints melted and one pint completed destroyed. This was SO disappointing. While they did refund my money, it doesn’t replace the fun of receiving ice cream. They could have replaced it for free (I have ordered several times previously). Any way….will not be using this service in the future.

Shout out to eCreamery!!!! Haven’t been there since I was 16 and came back at 27, still the best ice cream I’ve had in Omaha. Hopefully they’ll make a white chocolate pretzel ice cream 🤤

We were in town for an event and did a quick search for ice cream on our way out after getting gas. When we pulled up, I was pleased with the look of the building. Now, when you order ice cream from Dairy Queen, you know what you're ordering most of the time. Going somewhere new, it takes a moment to understand the menu. We had also never had Gelato. This created some questions. We had obviously never been here before. The shop itself was ADORABLE. The staff, not so much. They didn't seem to be enthused with our simple questions. They also weren't overly helpful, which is unfortunate. In fact, they seemed bothered that we had questions, even though there were two of them working and not one other customer in the store. They were also priced quite high. I believe one scoop was like $3.55 plus tax. That's a couple bites for the average person. The ice cream itself was decent, nothing I would brag about. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

A unique ice cream craftsman producing a rotation of flavours in house on a daily basis. The staff are friendly and helpful. A cozy retro ambiance and you can watch them make ice cream the old fashioned way right in store.

Stopped by on a hot day for some cool eats. Ted and Wally’s Ice hit the spot. Premium Ice cream for the palate. The store was busy but the girls at the counter were serving excellent customer service and smiles, which made the wait worth it. I had a malt and we also had the salted white chocolate almond ice cream Will definitely be back when in Omaha again.

Some of the best ice cream you will taste! Great for an after downtown dinner dessert or even a special trip only for ice cream! This is a popular place, so expect to wait in line for 5 to 10 minutes...it is really worth the wait!

I didn't want any of their flavors so they made a Buckeye for me. Vanilla ice cream, add peanut butter syrup and hot fudge. A homeless man came up to me as soon as I walked out the door. He must not have thought it looked very good because he passed...I guess he wanted money instead of ice cream. He walked away muttering before I could find out if he wanted anything else. I did enjoy the ice cream but I would have like to give him that one and order another one.

Ted and Wally’s is hands-down the best ice cream in town! My boyfriend and I go every other day, and it never disappoints. The flavors are always creative and so rich and creamy—you can tell they put real care into making it. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and it feels like the kind of place you just want to keep coming back to. Definitely our favorite spot for a sweet treat!

Ted n Wally’s is by far the best icecream spot in the Omaha area. They have many different flavors that change daily so it’s always something new. The thing I like the most about this place is the creativity when it comes to the icecream for example how the apple pie flavor had chunks of real apple pie in it. Totally recommend this place if you’re looking for good icecream.

Portions were great for the price! Could definitely tell the ice cream is homemade. Had Dutch chocolate and wasn’t super impressed for all the hype locals gave the place. It’s a nice place and the staff were super friendly. I would give it a second chance maybe on a different flavor.

Very delicious! The ice cream was super tasty! We will be trying the food some time, so I will do a more updated review at a later date. Every time we drive by, there always seems to be a huge line and we decide to try it at another time. We finally found a time that they weren’t too busy, but we were very satisfied and we now know why they’re always so busy! We will definitely be returning!

Small town ice cream stand with a huge selection of burgers, dogs (cod), and dairy treats! Long lines move quickly, so have your order ready. Time from payment to prize is short,.too. Highly recommend, when in the greater, metro Omaha area!

Dairy Chef reminds me of simpler days where the family went out to a local ice cream shop. Where there were no distractions aka cell phones, social media etc. but rather families hung out together and enjoyed each others company.

Good ice cream. Not worth the wait if there’s a long line. A little inside seating mostly out side. So if it’s hot be prepared to have your ice cream melt. Burgers are some what good.

I've been a big fan of Dairy Chef since I moved to Elkhorn 5 years ago. The ice cream is fantastic, and the portions are massive. Then there is the actual food, which is phenomenal!! Again, huge size burgers and sandwiches. If you are driving on 204th anywhere around downtown, I highly recommend embracing the experience, getting in the order line, it goes fast, and trying our the ice cream, you won't regret it.

I like their baked goods and I've enjoyed their boba and other specialty drinks. However, I've tried their food items a few times over the last five years and always feel disappointed. The food is cheap and unexciting and not a good value for your dollar. If you want some luxury cupcakes, Jones bros is pretty reliable. If you want lunch, you may want to go somewhere else.

Would have given 4 stars but there are a few things that need improvement...the cupcakes and ice cream are perfect tasted great highly recommend eating here ..but the service was terrible and the entrance to this establishment was dirty..as we realized we didn't want to sit and eat we got the food To go .I would like to clarify they were not busy and the young lady behind the counter was putting off vibes that she didn't even want to be at work..FOOD WAS GREAT . thanks jones bros cupcakes keep up the hard work

I’m so excited after visiting this place! Never seen something like this what they call as Boba Light Bulb Drinks. Basically they are bubble tea (Bolba drink) in a bulb shaped container which itself has a color changing light. The taste is equally good as they look. The place is big and have many other options to eat and drink if you are a sweet tooth. We took Pinacolada and Tropicalitch. Both were good. The most fun part is you can take the bulb glasses home and decorate!

Love everyone at Jones Bros. Cupcakes!!!! After seeing the owner on cupcake wars we knew we had to try their cupcake place!!! We have been back almost every for the past 5 years!!! They have changed and grown so much, and it just gets tastier every time we go! They have cronuts, cupcakes,macaroons,cookies,ice cream,coffee drinks and food for lunch/dinner! Plus they have these new awesomely delicious drinks that come in a light bulb shaped cups!!! We will come here over and over again when we come to Omaha!!! Love it here and the staff is always on point!!!

The concept of the cups being light bulbs is awesome! And the fact they light up makes it even more awesome!! But the reason it’s not 5 star worthy is because the drink I got( Dragon Fly ) was 95% ice and the rest was flavor. After only several sips you can notice right away that it’s mostly crushed ice! If this is fixed this place will overall be 5+ stars !

They have buttercream and whipping cream cupcakes. I tried the buttercream. There is a lot of frosting. We thought at first it looked like only a bit but it turned out it was a full dome worth. Regret not getting a picture of it. We enjoyed them. Protip: on Mondays they sell their macaron sampler box at 50% off . It's a great deal! This one is located in aksarben shopping area. Plenty of parking on the street and in the parking structures. Not sure if you need to pay in the structure though if it isn't after a certain time or on the weekend.

I do not know what this drink is called my husband just got me but it’s Dr Pepper and I’m assuming ice cream. Whatever it is it’s freaking AMAZING! Bacon cheeseburger is the best by far in town! Love this place already at my second visit

Well worth the visit, definitely will be back to visit if I'm coming through the area. I had the bacon cheese burger. It was a solid cheeseburger, nothing super special, it hit the spot, delishicious, and for the price, it's tough to beat. I also had one of their special Ice cream. Absolutely amazing, it's soft serve from an ice cream machine, those are not really my favorite but I can't complain, I'd definitely order it again. The service was quick, friendly and clean.

A go to popular spot in Council Bluffs that’s been around forever. Dine in or take out at the outdoor walk up window. Inexpensive and classic. There are flavors of the day, prepackaged items, you can order the twist and custom it with your two flavors of choice. Fast and friendly service.

Christy Creme is my go to place when I get to go back to Council Bluffs. Great ice cream treets and tenderloins!

I love little home town traditional style burger joints, this was exactly what I was hoping it would be! Good burgers, good shakes. Highly recommend!

Amazing flavor options! We tried the Silly Rabbit (Twix cereal) and the Minty Fresh (mint oreo) and both were delicious 😋 perfect size to be filling but not too much. Staff was friendly and fast! This place is perfect for a anack on a hot summer day!

This ice cream it’s another level!!! We love it, every time we go I try a different flavor and damn (always taste good) can’t says the same for the boba drinks tho, not a big fan of theirs drinks. But bro, they are always busy, which Its not a big deal, they are pretty fast, they should organize the ppl that is waiting for there’s orders.

My son has been wanting to try this place for a while. Due to the long lines, we haven't been able to. It's not a bad thing. Today was very busy but we decided to wait and finally order. We had the Monster cookie, Oreo Secret, and the Fudge brownie. The rolled ice cream was very light. It was very good. They have an order tablet on the counter that we used. We didn't have any interaction with the workers, except when we received our rolled ice cream.

The Thai rolled ice cream here is absolutely delicious! The flavors are rich and creamy, and there are so many options to choose from. The fresh fruits and toppings make each cup extra special. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. My son loves it so much he would have us come back every single day if he could!

Their ice cream is very good and being rolled gives it a nice texture and is light. It is a little pricey though. It was fun to try a new place.

This was my first time getting rolled ice cream, so the novelty aspect is cool but the pricing is a bit much. The overall experience wasn't amazing due to the location being on the smaller side and being packed and the ice cream was of average quality especially for the price. If you are going here purely for the aspect of "rolled ice cream" you will have a good time but if you want a sweet treat there are better spots in town.

Some friends and I went out for a late night iced cream & had an amazing experience as it was our first time. Kevin made our ice cream & WAS AMAZING! Joshua was amazing! He was super kind and attentive making sure we had a wonderful experience. absolutely loved my visit to mixins ice cream shop! The whole experience was fun from start to finish. Watching the staff pour the cream onto the cold plate and skillfully roll it up right in front of me was mesmerizing. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. The ice cream itself was creamy, smooth, and packed with flavor. I tried the strawberry cheesecake and it was the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing. The toppings were generous and fresh, which made each bite even better.On top of that, the store had such a welcoming vibe bright, clean, and cheerful. The staff was friendly and patient while I decided what to order, and they even gave recommendations that turned out spot-on.If you’re looking for a unique treat that tastes amazing and looks just as good, this is the place to go. The ice cream was really good, location was nice, small but clean, no music so it was pretty awkward, was one girl working looked 16, nice but very silent the whole time.

I would typically understand when there is one person working when it’s busy they might take a little longer but the girl working today just took forever and talked to her friend. We ended up waiting over half an hour for our ice creams for it to be mediocre not worth the wait or money at all! Terrible customer service on top of the very long wait.( edit: My family and I came in at 4:12pm and didn’t end up leaving until 5:05pm almost a whole hour! )

First time here ordered the campfire rolled ice cream. This isn't the first time to a rolled ice cream place. First my ice cream was not rolled it was more like smashed into the cup and cup seem only half full which was disappointing. Definitely not coming back here. Also parking sucks here.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Tried to come in for our first time ever. Kids were super excited considering it was my son's birthday but they turned us away at the door 40 minutes before closing. I get it's late but it says they close at 10. Lights were on and door was open. If you stop serving people before the actual time shown online maybe that should be posted so people are aware.

We usually come here for waffle cones after a trip to the zoo. There is a great selection of ice cream flavors and they are all delicious! Some of them are flavors you won't most places. The prices are pretty good. The flavors weren't labeled but the lady that was helping us told us all the flavors and gave a little review of some of them. I've never had a full meal here but I highly recommend this place for ice cream. The only criticism I might have is the tables are often not wiped down.

A hidden gem. This is a very clean and modern shop. They have many flavors of ice cream, some I have never seen before(tequila, pine nut) and the counter person was happy to offer samples. In addition to ice cream they have a descent food menu too. The ice cream was delicious. A perfect treat after lunch on 24th st. I will be bringing my family next time!

In the heart of 24th Street, this place was recommended to me by so many people to try, and they were so right. Very well priced, friendly staff, and quality food. Would go back again to try more of their deserts!

If you're looking for really great icecream in a beautiful part of town, this is it! The icecream was delicious and there was a lot of variety in choices! I also enjoyed some fries and they were splendid! You should know they only take cash at the moment, so stop by the bank just down the street if necessary. Most definitely worth visiting!

Just a small little window serving ice cream, but it was very good and the price was better than all the other ice cream shops around. Great taste. No indoor sitting area, so you’ll sit at tables outside but on a nice day this is perfect.

Grabbed a chocolate milkshake after a CWS game. It’s just soft serve. It’s good soft serve but not anything special. I appreciated that they took orders from you while in line and the wait was minimal. Also had a cool place to sit and eat if you chose to.

Stopped by after game 1 of mcws finals last night at 11:00 pm and they closed just as we arrived. Half the stadium hadn't even left yet. That is really terrible service for a business that presumably makes most of their sales during the college world series

On Saturday, July 23rd at around 2:40pm I parked near the Zesto Ice Cream window and then approached the spot to order. The female inside had black and blue braids. She looked at me from inside and then turned her head and continued staring at her phone. When she approached the window she never looked up from her phone (which she didn’t place down to greet me). I asked what the crunchy coating was and without looking up she said “peanuts and sprinkles”. I just stood there and then finally said, “you clearly don’t want me to order with you” and I walked away. She said something from the window which I did not hear and I turned and stated that I’m leaving due to HORRIBLE customer service. This employee lost a sale for your business … which seems to be lacking for a Saturday afternoon anyway. She should have been grateful for the fact that I CHOSE to spend my money there (or would of). She clearly hates her job and should not work there. She should be grateful to have a job and show her customers respect. Be a little picky with who you hire to represent your business because this individual is only doing your business harm. I will NEVER go there again. I spent my money at Ted and Wally’s instead.

Nice spot to drop into. Not a line out the door, like the other place. Good selection of ice cream treats, pastries and drinks. Fair prices , prompt and friendly service. Old time feel with a modern twist. I had the Black Cherry Float.

Super cute dessert shop in the Old Market area. The frappes were divine, ice cream was great, and the service was very friendly. We were staying nearby for a few days and stopped in multiple times because it was so good and the prices were unbeatable. We will definitely stop again next time we’re in Omaha!!

We traveled to Omaha for the first time and had four kids in tow. Right across the street we saw the Dolci ice cream shop and knew we had to try it out. The kids loved the ice cream here! Even one of my kiddos who isn’t typically into ice cream said it was the best he’s ever had! Attached to the ice cream shop is a candy shop with both brand name and homemade candies. The truffles here are the best I’ve ever had. It was fun to let the kids pick out their favorite candies and prices were on point. The staff here is friendly and attentive.

The customer service was very friendly and professional. Inviting atmosphere, God is good, a complete stranger bought my ice cream order for me. I thanked and blessed him well. A+ business establishment.

Super nice person who waited on us, but only after being told to wait on us. Nice kid who brought out our food. They did forget my ice water. The reason for a 4 was because the tenderloin sandwich was sub-par. Why do restaurants flatten them to cardboard thickness? Leave it to resemble biting into meat. The breading has NO flavor & don’t put mayo on a tenderloin. Let ME make that decision. I prefer mustard. The fries & onion rings are the stars of the meal. The patty melt was very tasty, but glad I asked to leave off the Doozie sauce. NOT a fan. WAY TOO COLD inside! I froze eating inside. Otherwise atmosphere was fine. We will try other foods there or get ice cream next time.

Very good. For two tenderloin specials and a Fridays special French Dip we paid $36. Very large portion of fries. Food very good cooked to perfection, friendly employees, great service, definitely will go back.

We tried doozies for the first time today and it was really good. We both got burger meals. They were fresh and the fries were great they are the lightly battered kind. We didn’t get ice cream but would definitely come back again.

I'm definitely returning to this restaurant again! It was my first time there. The employees were helpful and nice. The prices were good and who doesn't love homemade ice cream! It was nice outside, so we sat outside at one of the tables that had an awning overhead, so we weren't in the sunlight.

Look i normally love the food and the workers but I ordered some onion rings and they didn't give me the correct order so I had to go back and get them and they were barely breaded and not as good as they look on the menu, and they weren't as good as they tasted the first time I got them.

We were passing through on our way to Texas and decided to try this place, we are so happy we did. The salads were fresh and crisp, the chicken was warm, the hot dogs were outstanding and the ice cream is some of the best I ever had. Totally would recommend this place!

My family and I stopped in for a quick sweet treat while we were in the neighborhood to visit Amateur Coffee. Sweet Mags did not disappoint. I was able to snag a few scones and cookies. I ate them all. Without regret. The flavors were very fresh and the scones and cookies were not over baked. Sweet Magnolias is a top tier bakery with a variety of muffins, scones, cookies, brownies, and other delectable treats. Do yourself a favor and run there ASAP!

When it comes to scones Magnolia knows their stuff. Went in at 7:30am to get fresh scones and they did not disappoint! They were fresh, moist, and perfectly flavored. Our fav for the stop was the bacon cheddar with an honorable mention to the sweet corn jalapeño. We will be back. A little birdie told us they supply our fav coffee shops scones so we had to go! $20 for four

I have visited this bakery several times after eating at Lisa's cafe. They have very good cinnamon rolls, and brownies. My kids ate the cinnamon rolls before I could get a picture! The brownies are light and not too rich. Each time I visit it is a delightful experience. They do have vegan options as well.

BEST. DAMN. CINNAMON. ROLLS. EVER. I have eaten cinnamon rolls in many states and cities. Napa, San Francisco, NYC, Seattle, Denver. But NOTHING has compared to these innocent looking rolls of heaven. They are light, yet rich, with the perfect amount of sugary cinnamon swirling between this pastry that you will want to write home about. The cream cheese frosting is piped on top in the perfect amount to not overpower the tender roll itself. I don’t live in Omaha but I make it a point to always get one while I’m in town. I usually pick up a savory scone as well. Light, crispy outside with the most moist and exquisite inside. The s’mores stuffed cookie is heavenly. And if you are a bar person, I would definitely recommend all of them! Make sure to get your own of everything. You will probably think that you won’t finish it and you can share. You will be so sad if you do. I mean, you’ll be happy knowing that you aren’t a selfish jerk, but your mouth will be very sad. Run! Don’t walk to this wonderful little shop. You’ll need to run to burn off all of the calories!

We LOVE Sweet Mags so it was an easy choice when it came time to choose a bakery for our wedding cake. We loved that they have tasting boxes and were such a joy to work with! Our cake was amazing (we made sure to order a lot so that we would have extra)!!! Highly highly recommend!

The food is decent, though a bit pricey. The bakery seems to be struggling with staffing issues, leading to occasional mistakes with orders. While the treats are tasty, I wouldn't recommend it for custom cakes or anything beyond basic options. I don’t know if there would even be words to describe how much we love Zen on Farnam. #1 coffee in Omaha. It’s not just the coffee or the avocado toast that we’re addicted to. It’s the whole vibe. It’s literally our weekend go to as often as we can. Coffee is always amazing and the girls behind the counter know how to make you feel welcome. They always look like they’re having fun and enjoy serving customers. Zen knows how to do things right!

The Vanilla Silk Latte wasn’t overly sweet and had perfect balance of coffee flavor. Environment was comfortable and clean.

We went in around 5:30. There was a boy and a girl working and we were not talked to once. Not even greeted, I had to initiate the greeting. After we ordered we strolled around and waited for around 3 minutes and I thought that was pretty quick for a peanut butter smoothie and a hot latte. Gave us side eyes like we were interrupting their conversation because it could not wait. When I first tasted my drink it had tasted like straight milk and protein powder. I get home and there are CHUNKS of peanut butter in my BLENDED SMOOTHIE. Very sorry to be this person

A really good coffee shop to sit and get things done! The round tables are a little small, though. The employees are kind enough, although not as personable as I would like. The service is still quick and accurate and I haven’t had anything from there (food or drink) that I haven’t liked!

I’ve been to Zen a handful of times and every time I am more and more in love. Their drinks are amazing and their seasonal coffees are the best. I typically get the coffee flight to try 4 different options at once as well has an avocado toast (11/10 love it). I saw on Omaha Eats that the buckets were recommend. I got the bucket of Banana bread coffee while my friend got the cold brew bucket. Each cost about $13 which is a steal for the amount of coffee you get. I posted my bucket below. I love the calm atmosphere and how sweet the servers are! For the amount of people in the building, they were fast and efficient! It’s great for kids too, as they have flavored juices /smoothie / tea type drinks.

Overall this place is so unique and beautiful, lots of greens and different space options. Coffee was great, I’ve ordered pistachio shaken espresso. You can make any drink flavor with shaken espresso.

Employee was very considerate and understanding of my frustration, when I drove ten miles to get Goodrich ice cream and they had practically no ice cream. Time after time I and my three children ask for a flavor advertised on the front only to get the sheepish reply of I'm sorry sir we don't have that one either. Very disappointing for the kids.

I ordered 2 shakes and 2 malts and all 4 was flavored milk so much milk and no icecream peer liquid. The chocolate shakes had very little chocolate and the strawberry malt had mint chips in it. This was the location on 50th and Center street. The employees were cursing loudly which does not offend me but was very unprofessional. I will not be back. Very disappointing.

Goodrich has a nostalgia factor for us, but also the ice cream is creamy, well made, and delicious. I like dark chocolate and a lot of chocolate ice cream tastes too sweet to me... Like I'm eating sugar instead of chocolate. In contrast, Goodrich chocolate ice cream is not too sweet. It tastes like chocolate instead of sugar. And it makes perfect malts.

Stopped by for nostalgia’s sake. I recently moved back to the area. The ice cream was okay. No mint chip was available. Service was painfully slow. The one last CR cream guy seemed to still be learning without help, and the register clerk seemed uninterested.

You know, this place could use a facelift, but the the malts are as good as I've ever remembered. Received great service too.

It's a Subway. They use Kemps ice cream for their malts. My mom wanted to show me why she liked malts so much, and we got something we literally could have made at home. Probably would be quicker at home too. The subway workers were kind and friendly though.

The donuts are very tasty, and the square shape is cute, and never fails to get comments from kids. Best of all they have a gluten free donut. We went on Saturday before 730 am, and they had a wide selection of gluten free. From maple with bacon on top, to chocolate iced, to plain raised. The staff was polite and patient while we looked for what our kids would like best.

Such a cute little shop. I'm in town visiting my daughter. We discovered this place a couple of years ago, I think it was pretty new. They have definitely grown as there was quite a line today, but they were quick and efficient, and more importantly, kind. The donuts are so yummy!

This is our family's favorite donut spot. We love that they have a delicious gluten-free selection that's handled with incredible care. It's so reassuring to find a place where my mom with Celiac can safely enjoy a gluten free treat alongside us. Highly recommend!

Amazing donuts but I really wish they kept a better inventory of popular donuts. Being sold out of chocolate, chocolate sprinkles, strawberry, and or strawberry sprinkles by 9AM when they’re open until later in the afternoon but having a full stock of not so popular donuts seems a bit silly and like a inventory model that could use a tune up. Correct/popular inventory = sales so make it happen square we the people love your donuts!

Grabbed an ube and chai matcha mochi donut for breakfast. The flavor was good, but the texture was a little off (somewhat soggy and no crispy edges). I did inhale both of my mochi donuts, so, they were definitely delicious. 🍩

They tried to charge me more than what its priced like I’m stupid or something. I may not speak/read Spanish but I sure know what I’m buying. Ordered the elote, 6$ for a large cup. Definitely worth it. They have to-go lids for the cups as well. Very convenient and travel friendly. It DEFINITELY helps if you can speak/read Spanish.

This little candy shop tucked into the Old Market is hands down one of the most magical places we've ever visited—and it has everything to do with the incredible owner, Mike. From the moment we stepped inside, Mike greeted us with the kind of warmth you don’t expect from a stranger. He made us feel like family—truly. He didn’t just sell us candy, he shared stories, offered us local treats, and made us laugh like old friends. It felt like we were being welcomed home. The store is absolutely packed with a phenomenal selection—nostalgic candies, local favorites, and unique Nebraska-specific snacks you won’t find anywhere else. The popcorn was out of this world, and Mike made sure we tried some of his favorites. You can feel the love and care that went into curating everything in that shop. Every staff member we interacted with was just as kind and welcoming. And right next door, the ice cream store Doleci (which we also HIGHLY recommend!) continued that same vibe—friendly, sweet, and so delicious we’re still dreaming about it. Mike, you are a treasure. If i could give Mike 1,000 Stars I would. I called in a last second request with 3 hours until I needed our sweet treat for a Harry Potter Party.. Chocolate Frogs, IFKYK. He was so kind and friendly. He didn't have them on hand but without skipping a beat he said "I HAVE THE MOLDS!" and he poured us a tray. My husband and I visited this little candy store for the first time last week looking for some items to include in a Saran Wrap ball I am making for a work holiday party. The outside of this store is just beautiful and it makes you want to go inside. The shop itself small but still has quite of bit of items to choose from. There is pre-packaged candy and also some homemade candy.

This is the best candy store in Omaha. Being an “elder millennial” raised in the Old Market by my cool older sister, this place is very dear to my nostalgic heart. Recently my husband and I had the privilege of meeting the owners, and much like the staff they employ, they were truly lovely people. OM Candy’s forefront is spotless, well organized, and places a big emphasis on hand crafted confectionary delights. While you will find a nicely diversified selection of items not made in house to appease sour candy folks, the real star of the show is the enormous display case filled with beautiful chocolates. Frequently upon visiting, you are able to see staff hard at work making chocolates through their kitchen area window—and I feel like this just isn’t something one gets to see very often. It’s a very refreshing experience. Bury me with the mudballs, though I will accept the caramel cashew clusters in their stead. If you’re local, or a visitor with a sweet tooth, this is the place. And be sure to pop by Tennenbaum’s Christmas Shop next door—same owners, wildly different theme, and extremely cool!

Candy shops that make their own items is something I can barely resist. Old Market Candy Shop will leave you wishing you had bought more. Their truffles keep me coming back, but the chocolate dipped orange peels may be my new favorite. The fudge is creamy and comes in so many fun flavors. The staff is absolutely wonderful and will help you with recommendations and samples. If you're more into traditional candy like taffy, jelly beans, etc., they've still got you covered. Fellow GenXers, they even have candy cigarettes.

The place is great! They have a lot of handmade chocolate options to choose from! They let you sample some of their items. In addition they have "mainstream" candy for the younger kids and lots of unique items for the more adventurous eaters.

I originally stopped by just to browse—I was looking for a small edible gift for someone special ahead of an upcoming dinner. Honestly, they had so many options that I started to feel a little overwhelmed. That’s when Zane stepped in, and I’m really glad he did. He had a calm, confident way of helping without making anything feel salesy or pressured. I explained that I didn’t need a ton of snacks, just something small and meaningful—something I could share that would make a lasting impression. He totally understood the vibe and gave a perfect suggestion that respected my limited budget but still felt thoughtful and personal. He even wrapped it up in a way that made it clear this was a gift, not just something picked up last minute. He told me to keep it refrigerated until the day of, which I appreciated, and I walked out of there feeling more confident about the moment I was creating. Huge thanks to Zane—and to everyone working there that day. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. Their energy was contagious in the best way. It’s rare to walk into a place where everyone’s smiling like that. It made me a little jealous, in a good way. Definitely a team that’s proud of what they do.

love these little chocolates. miss the way we could go in and pick out different flavors and designs. Seems like a specialty chocolate shop should offer walk-in sales as well, not just bubble packed prepackaged boxes. Also this last time i got my Valentine’s day box from my husband, the cherries didn’t taste the same, just very sweet, no flavor. They used to taste like maraschino cherries, a bit of almond flavor. These had no flavor at all.

I purchased a number of items (cordial cherries, truffles and Easter Robin eggs). Nailed it with the packaging. The cordial cherries are consistently amazing. The way everything is decorated is impeccable. The truffles were consistent in being dry and a little gritty. I would not recommend them. The Robin eggs were supposed to have marshmallow in the middle but the marshmallow either had a hardness akin to a malt ball, or had dissolved so that it was weirdly chewy and one of them had a flavorless sugar element that had to be chewed for over a minute before it was dissolved. I would not recommend these either. I also had gone in for one thing that was advertised on their website and I was informed that the season for those ended earlier in the month....okay but then they were still advertised on the website...? So I'm giving The Cordial Cherry 3 out of 5 stars.

The cherries are wonderful & so good! They came so quickly and right in the nick of time. I ordered them for Father's Day and my husband was feeling low so I gave him a box. He was tickled and felt better right away! He's saving a box for Father's Day.

Amazing chocolate truffles! Owner is an inspiration and the shop is artsy and eclectic. Chocolate though, wow. Smooth, just the right sweetness and the center of the truffle is creamy. The perfect blend of cocoa and sweet.

The chocolates are amazing. They use the very best chocolate. They slowly melt in your mouth and the truffles are so good but what's even better are the cherry cordials.They are beautifully decorated with great detail. We were overall extremely pleased with these candies.

We have been to Centi probably a dozen times since they opened. They are outstanding. I prefer their gelato to all ice cream in town. The flavors are all delicious and difficult to find at other spots in Omaha: Taro, Matcha Cookies, Smoked Marshmallow. We choose this spot over dessert at even the best restaurants in Omaha. Service is great and everyone is nice. Great gluten free and vegan options too! (Basically everything is gluten free). Thank you Centi!

So far this is hands down the best desert spot in town. I mean, how can you resist delicious cold ice cream with such a variety of flavors to choose from served in a made from scratch waffle cone? The waffle cones were, arguably, just as impressive as the cold deliciousness itself. Biting into it, I immediately had an overwhelming rush of childhood memories of my mother’s homemade waffles. The combination of both was absolutely great. I didn’t think there was anything more that could enhance the experience and I was proven wrong. Their ice cold Americano was both well balanced in cream, syrup, and acidity and provided a much needed afternoon energy boost. I haven’t gotten a chance to try their made to order crapes, but you can rest assured that the family and I will be back to correct that. Awesome place!

If you want delicious and unique gelato! If you want the tastiest crepe outside of Paris... Paris in Las vegas at least. Look no further. I really enjoyed my treat and will be back.

One of the best dessert spots I’ve been too. The crepes are so good especially the berry brûlée. The gelato is delicious as well. Their new matcha cookies and cream is amazing.

Wow! This Gelato is really good. I am glad they had 2 dairy-free options. I enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying Old Market while I ate my Gelato. Only 1 free sample per person.

The gelato was great. However beware of their stingy policy of only one taste per person. I came in with 2 kids one kid had their mind made up while I tried a spiced strawberry with my daughter to make sure she would be okay with the taste. They counted that as my sample and refused to let me taste an ice cream flavor until I insisted that I haven’t tried a flavor. They said after a person gets an ice cream you can’t try any additional flavors which didn’t make sense because I had not chosen a flavor and the sample was for my kid so I guess they don’t count kids as people? Like I said ice cream was good but the experience was not good. Stingy policies like that make me not want to visit a place like this. One and done for me.

Honestly amazing. I grew up on crepes and this place is everything you want out of a crepe. The crepe itself is delicious and they have both savory and sweet options. We’ve tried 4 different ones so far and they’ve all been amazing, just be sure to get some napkins if you get the banana crepe with vanilla ice cream, ours was just a little messy. Ice cream is great too! Plus they have a rewards system, we’ve been there two or three times and we already have enough for some free ice creams! They have a bench indoors for waiting on your food, but other than that only outdoor, covered patio seating. The owner and all the employees are very friendly, plus the offer a military discount! Definitely a new favorite ☺️

We love Countryside Cones! They are always so kind and patient as they wait for many children to decide what to order. If an order comes out wrong, no worries, they quickly remake it. The ice cream is delicious!! They have yummy dole for gluten and dairy free options. Each specialty cone I’ve tried has been so great-worth the calories 😉

Hands down the best ice cream I've ever had anywhere! You don't need a million flavor options when it's this good. Extra creamy and smooth, the twist is my personal favorite. I'm also a big fan of the waffle cones, they taste very fresh. If they aren't, they've got me fooled. We will make a point to pop by when we are in the area!

5/4/2023 I received a postcard for a free treat and stopped by to redeem it. This is a very attractive store, and the treats are tasty. The staff was really nice. Make sure you check their hours. They vary from day day. I walked in at opening time. Shortly after I sat down, traffic in the store really picked up.

Ice cream was flavorless. Every other soft serve I’ve ever had is better. Ended up throwing it out. Shop is cute and workers were friendly, but the product was a serious disappointment when I was craving good ice cream.

The Omaha Bakery made my son’s 1st birthday cake. It turned out so cute and was delicious. Many people at the party commented on how good it was. Will definitely use them again.

Bought a dozen tiny cup cakes for a ridiculous price of $25. They put in a sheet cake box and they rolled all over the box. First and last purchase.

We recently started a keto diet and without bread I am dead! They have a great selection of fresh homemade breads and desserts made for keto. You might think that it may not be to your liking, but I can tell you their items are delicious! You might even feel a little guilty eating them.

I just had to share this amazing cake made by The Omaha Bakery -Elkhorn I ordered for my sister's "Nightmare Before Christmas" themed baby shower. The level of detail and quality of this cake were AMAZING! We eventually convinced my sister to let us eat it (she thought it was too pretty) and it was also delicious! Logistically, they were so responsive, did exactly what I asked and had a wonderful number of staff I interacted with. This was my first time using them and I will be using them going forward!

My kids and I stopped here to get a sweet treat and order my daughter’s smash cake, too. Great variety of bars, scones, muffins, cookies, rolls, etc. it was difficult to choose. The smash cake was beautiful and honestly it’s a shame it ended up “smashed”. Kind people & delicious bakery items.

Very well ran bakery! Loved the employees, they make the atmosphere very lively. A nice young lady named Kate helped me pick out a cake for my dad’s birthday. Got a strawberry cupcake for road, which I would 100% recommend!! Would be a cute place for a date or just to grab a coffee and a delicious pastry.

They did such a great job it was all a easy process I called them over the phone to get a custom birthday cake and they made it really easy to get a theme I want and the cake decorator called a couple times to make sure they understand the theme I want. The cake was so moist and not too rich it was very even and on top of it all the price was really reasonable for what we got. I would come back here for another cake in the future and recommend it to all my friends. good job keep it up

Always had to make my own cake and felt like taking it easy and putting my feet up for this birthday. Omaha Bakery did a fantastic job preparing my cake and having a guilt free confection was an added bonus. I would recommend them and cannot wait for my next birthday.🎂

I've gone there for a couple of years mostly. The products are decent but the owner and his wife are unprofessional at best and rude at worst. The place is not clean. I am going to pay a little more and get my products from Costco and Restaurant Depot where the staff is friendly and not nosy.

I don’t get some of these reviews. This place is filthy, smelly, disorganized and unprofessional. How they can be operating at all is beyond understanding. They had very few of the products I would expect. Just a lot of mess and dirt. It ought to be shut down. Only staff there was the owner’s son behind the counter playing games on his phone. Why wouldn’t he spend his time cleaning up or organizing the place?? He was friendly and tried to be helpful but the sight and smell of the place had already turned me off.

For a great price on bulk bread flour, I love going to the Omaha bakery supply. The owners are really friendly. There are a lot of rummage items as well, but for me getting good bread flour for my sourdough, this is the place.

I expected a Baking Supply store, but this was a dirty warehouse, filled with junk (literally), with limited bulk ingredients and nothing more. If you're looking for used and filthy pans in a dark and musty garage or a 50lb bag of flour stacked in a filthy floor, go elsewhere. No dishers, scoops, cookie cutters, or other tools. It's a shame we don't have a decent baking supply store in the area.
