Evangelical church
First Evangelical Covenant Church is a welcoming community that extends the love of Jesus to its members. When faced with unexpected challenges, the church provides support through prayer, practical assistance, and unconditional love. The church embraces newcomers and makes them feel like they belong, creating a sense of family among its members. With God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit at its core, the church offers both contemporary and traditional services for families and children.
This church goes above and beyond to care for its people with the love of Jesus. When our family faced some unexpected challenges, there were many prayer warriors that went into action. In addition, they helped us take care of practical needs like meals, assisted with a major hospital bill, and supported us with so much unconditional love.

If you are looking for a church that welcomes you with open arms and makes you feel like you belong, this is the place to be. We moved to this area and a friend invited us to attend a choir concert at the church. We never went anywhere else. That was 9 years ago and we are there every week. It is like family. 😄

The Catholic parish of Cathedral of Saint Andrew is situated in the heart of Grand Rapids and boasts an impressive architectural design. It is open to visitors on a daily basis, and anyone can explore the interior as well as learn about its history. The cathedral has a welcoming atmosphere with inspiring interiors that are both charming and sacred. Additionally, it serves as the seat of the parish of Grand Rapids and offers beautiful music during special occasions like Christmas and Easter.
Beautiful place for spiritual meditation! I drove by early on a Saturday morning and they were open for visitors! Props to Lavelle, the welcoming security guy, who shared some history of the fire that drove thru the attic. The rafter and ceiling framing was saved, and in the rebuild the new vaulted ceiling was built below the existing one.

A stunning cathedral near the downtown. This church has amazing stained glass.
Frederick V — Google review
Old but still very pretty. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The neighborhood is awful. We saw a man urinating, fully exposed at 12pm on a Sunday on the property next door. Also I was confronted by multiple, aggressive drug users demanding money. The building old and not maintained to a standard scene at other local Catholic Churches. At least not to the visible eye. Overall: old but pretty. Not that great, but certainly not the worst. A very solid 3 star church. I will not be returning anytime soon 🙂

if you're looking for a place to have your catholic wedding, this is the place to do it. super gorgeous but more importantly, you'll have Lynnae fearlessly coordinating your wedding. i was in the wedding party and man... i would follow Lynnae to the ends of the earth - that woman has your back.

Stopping by this beautiful site was a real treat. While I initially visited for the history and architecture, I found the historical information scattered throughout the area to be quite captivating. It inspired me to read more about it online to gain further insight.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go inside but still got to relax in the gardens and take in the architecture from outside.

Had a very good experience Needed to see two staff members and both were very helpful and resolved my issue. Very appreciative of their help and the work they do.

ONLY reason this place is still around is because they're a Gov't office .... Otherwise, you can barely get ahold of anyone anymore since they changed their office hours closing at 3pm, when they used to be available until 4:30. Everyone is remote now it's just insane can never contact your claims worker when you need one in the automated system is so backward. Health benefits got renewed in february but somehow my Pharmacy got a decline / canceled from Medicaid. Haven't been able to reach my case worker (IF they're still around 😡) On top of their Tech taking over a YEAR of runaround "tickets" to straighten out the mess of my 'new bridges' account 😡
Nettiegurl 1 — Google review
I had to drop off an assistance application for my brother and had some questions about the form. There was a long line that was moving slowly. After about 30 minutes a case worker approached the people in the line to see if she could help. I was third by then. I did not get her name, but the case worker was wonderful. She answered all my questions. She was kind and reassuring. I rate her as 5 stars. The wait time brought the experience to 4 stars. Thank you MDHHS for having such caring case workers.
Liddy O — Google review
Everytime I call I’m the 100 something in the queue because they made case workers universal no set case worker!!! This is not okay ! I need to talk to somebody now ! Not days later !!
Jasmine L — Google review
The level of incompetence in this office is absolutely overwhelming. I went there a few weeks ago to submit some paperwork to recertify services that had been denied that should not have been. They sent me to speak to a so-called caseworker that was more clueless than a newborn baby. I told her the issue, mentioned to her that I had in person submitted 10 pages of documents to the front desk prior to meeting with her. She then proceeded for the next 40 minutes pretending that she was doing something on the computer. She never really asked me any questions though periodically I would tell her the issue again and she would continue pretending to be working on the computer. At 5:00 p.m. when they close she looked up at me and said we don't have your paperwork. I told her that the person at the front desk told me that the paperwork would be scanned and she could look at it on the computer. By 5:00 p.m. it was too late to go to the other side of the office to see if my paper work was in the pile. She had wasted 40 minutes that at any time she could have gone back into the office to check on the documents. It is obvious she was a new employee and did not know just the basics and chose not to ask for help from management. The only way that I submit paperwork is in person as I no longer trust they will receive documentation in the mail nor online through my bridges. Also speaking to them on the phone is one of the most frustrating and time wasting ordeals to go through. Apparently now going in person has become frustrating and idiotic experience. If this was a business and not some government bureaucracy it would be out of business at this point I have no idea who to go above them. DHHS has a Google rating of 1.9, that is beyond miserable and any business owner would be filing bankruptcy if their customer service was like DHHS!!!!
Catherine H — Google review
Phone interview was supposed to be today at 10:00 am. No call AGAIN! Same thing happened to us the last time we were supposed to get a call for our phone interview with agent with the last name of Johnson. Called into the office for the last one to report it and they said "good thing you called because if you hadn't you would have gotten cancelled"! Our last agent was P. Zondervan we had him for several years and not once did we not get our scheduled phone interview call for our renewal for our benefits! Not once! Always called at the scheduled time! Now with our new agent it's happened twice in a row. So here i sit with 142 people in the queue this morning waiting to report a NO CALL AGAIN! Or we will get the punishment for her not doing her job. So so frustrating!!!!!!! Somethings got to give as i see others with the same complaint with the same agent!

Catholic church
St. Isidore Catholic Church is a welcoming and beautiful sanctuary that offers a sense of community and spiritual nourishment to its parishioners. Visitors often remark on the warmth and kindness of both the priests and fellow attendees, creating an atmosphere where everyone feels at home. The church hosts various Masses throughout the week, accommodating those with busy schedules, including evening services for working individuals. Many appreciate the reverence displayed by the clergy, who provide thoughtful guidance during confessions or spiritual discussions.
Attended grade school through 1993. I truly thank God and the path that God chose for me. God gave me an opportunity that most will never experience or understand. The next path will be to take what has been given to me and figure out how I can instill an impact of honesty, gratitude, community and balance into everyone I meet.
Tommy S — Google review
Very beautiful church. Monsignor Hankiewicz gives me the impression of being a very reverent, respectful, intelligent and down-to-earth man. I sometimes have to go to the 6 pm Sunday Mass due to work. I'm very thankful for that option. It is however, difficult to clearly hear the words (and the amazing cantor) during Mass due to the somewhat strong reverb. I wonder if the speakers might be too loud? Perhaps turning them down a ways could lessen the reverb and help us be able to more clearly hear the homily, prayers, and songs. After all, a building like this should still have good acoustics even without speakers.
Nick R — Google review
St. Isidore Church is a beautiful and peaceful place of worship. The service is uplifting, the community is welcoming, and the atmosphere is truly serene. A perfect place for prayer, reflection, and spiritual connection.
Paige H — Google review
Popped in for confession before my flight. Warm, caring priest who listened closely and provided practical, helpful counsel. Friendly parishioners and a beautiful, sacred sanctuary. I want to return for Mass the next time I’m in the area.

We go to church here when visiting Grand Rapids. The older priests seem very faithful to Church teaching. Lovely setting. Seems to have many devout faithful. I wish they offered the Tridentine mass on weekends.

Nestled among the vibrant streets filled with specialty shops and historic buildings, the First United Methodist Church stands out as a beacon of tradition and community spirit. This beautiful church is adorned with stunning Tiffany stained glass windows that catch the light in mesmerizing ways, creating an atmosphere of serenity. Inside, visitors can appreciate not only the incredible organ but also local artwork displayed throughout its hallways. The worship services at First United Methodist Church blend traditional elements with contemporary influences, often featuring local musicians and addressing current social issues.
A wonderful traditional historic church with a kind loving soul. The respect of all living and ones that came before. From the 1917 Tiffany studio's stained glass windows to the music that resonates thru the 2 story pipe organ... A church is about the people.

Really wonderful people attend this Church really loved Rev. Brown. She was the most beautiful and kind hearted woman I ever had the privilege of making friends with along with many other very caring wonderful people. They were like family when I needed family the most and still very dear to my heart.

I love the traditional feel of First United Methodist Church with the gorgeous Tiffany stained glass windows and incredible organ. Local art work is displayed in the hallways. Worship services retain traditional elements but often incorporates local musicians, popular music and current social concerns. I like the diverse congregation. Widows, older couples, families with school age children, singles, and newborn baptisms are all found on a Sunday morning. I also like the church's involvement in serving the inner city community while still providing growth opportunities for its' members.
Christy — Google review
Being down on my luck I greatly appreciate the Work program. Only wish they offered it more than once a week. Because if you have anything else scheduled you miss your shot that week. And while there's no guarantee any given Tuesday there's more of a chance if you can make it instead of a doctor's appointment LoL And those are harder to schedule these days that if you cancel good luck rescheduling. 😂
RENE L — Google review
I moved to West Michigan 3 years ago and have found a fabulous home at GR First UMC. The pastor, congregation and members are the most welcoming, kind, giving people and truly make you feel at home. The sanctuary has beautiful stained glass windows and the pipe organ is incredible! All are welcomed here with a warm smile and genuine heart.

The United Church of Christ Park Congregational Church is a welcoming place where beautiful music and a nice message come together. The church has a strong community feel, and its services are always interesting and engaging.
The most beautiful, unique, charming, and full of character church I have ever seen. The pics and video are from the balcony. View of the Sanctuary and the massive famous pipe organ and the one-of-a-kind custom Tiffany (yes ladies and some gentlemen, that Tiffany's as in Tiffany and Co NY) stained glass windows. Video of the choir and orchestra performing Silent Night the balcony on Christmas Eve. 2023.. As beautiful as this church is the history is even better. If local history is a passion of yours this is a must visit locations.A must visit.

This church has stunning stained glass. I was luckily able to be let in and given a mini tour by a gentleman named Tim who was very kind and welcoming. He was very informative, too. The stained glass is just wonderful.
Frederick V — Google review
That was a little embarrassing. My first time here and I entered in and took a right and ended up in the back somewhere and then I went up the stairs and I didn't know which way was which- I was trying to get to the sanctuary and I ended up back of the choir loft & the organist -so I kept looking around trying to get to the right place I didn't want to come out behind the the organist who was in the front... went back down the stairs found a door and then walkedbin from the front and walk to the back ...picked up a bulletin & sat down. This apparently raise a little bit concern by one lady who stood up and whispered to a guy and they came back in and she stood right next to me. This made me feel awkward and I didn't feel like trying to explain the whole thing to her as the service was starting- so I stood up walked out and left - maybe I'll try again later. In case anybody at the church was wondering what was going on, I hope this explains it . Please consider having a sign with an arrow pointing which way to go as you enter in so you don't have to ask and feel awkward.

I loved the beauty of the church, both inside and outside. Great security and staff; we attended the DeVos Children's Day of Memorial Service on Sunday evening. My daughter's emotional support/service dog was having a hard time with the steam heat that they use to heat the building and the tile on the floor was warm also; these things were not bad for us humans and normally not bothersome to her either, however the security guard was very understanding and went outside with us a couple of times so I could walk her to cool down, to the point of her laying on the parking lot and she loved it, cooled her right down...we loved having a church that was warm and welcoming, both spiritually and physically and kindness of a caring person for security. When we visit in the future, I will know accordingly how to adjust the situation to prepare our service helper better so she can Enjoy her job too. Thank you so much and God Bless.

Wonderful downtown church. Beautiful carvings from a long ago era. Heard a speaker in the sanctuary and attended the Sunday service both were done well. Folks were friendly and helpful.
Michael S — Google review
Was looking for a church to get married in, and upon stopping in to look at the church, they (the security) were super unwelcoming. Left an immediate poor feeling and would never come back. It’s disappointing a church would treat people like that (or employ people who would).

Hired lawyer from this facility and yet I've tried to email and contact them and no respond what so ever. Its been weeks without a response from their end even though I've left voicemails. Find this very unprofesional and rude to not responding to their clients, when paid in full upfront.

I must stay faithful at my church I am a member at, but I have been to this church a few times and every time, the Gospel is preached! None of this TedTalk style “preaching” with the gospel sprinkled here and there. The worship service part isn’t particularly my style, but the church is Biblical, and that’s what The Lord commands! HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)
Andrew B — Google review
A very friendly congregation and a good church to hear about a strong savior for a weak and needy sinner. We have been very blessed under the preaching here.

I listen to the sermons online and I take classes at PRTS too online. I so wished I could have a church like this in Conroe, Texas! My favorite part of the sermons is singing a Psalter Hymnal in the middle of preaching! So awesome!

I attend Heritage and hear God's Word preached faithfully every Sunday. The conviction of sin, the power of the gospel, and a life of thankful obedience are proclaimed off this pulpit, as we see it and hear it in the Word of God.

We are so happy we have found a new home church. The pastors and other members are welcoming but not over pushy if you know what I mean. We attend late service and love that their are so many families with children of all ages. A mix of all ages really and the music is really good.

Known for its welcoming atmosphere and dedicated staff, this church plays an active role in serving the local community. One of their notable initiatives includes a Saturday morning food program that provides affordable groceries to those in need. The church also hosts events like the TEFAP food distribution giveaway, which draws large crowds eager to receive essential food items.
Great place and staff and they are very active in the community.
Teresa P — Google review
I have lived across the street for 18 years and have experienced this church increasingly disregard the lively-hood of the neighbors. They have threaded to tow the cars of surrounding neighbors and have neglected working with the community to remedy the issue. Their parking lot has historically been utilized by the folk who live in the neighborhood but has been becoming a pressing issue as of late. It feels as through the Church wants to create an “Us” vs “them” issue with the neighborhood.
Estrella G — Google review
This was the location being used for the TEFAP food distribution give away... It was a slow process, like at least two hours but that is expected because of the large turnout that came to pick up the food... It was worth the wait because you were given two large boxes of various food items...
J — Google review
They are really mean ! Not nice ! All I’m doing is trying to park and be safe and they threaten to tow my car and I love my car ! Why would they do this to me ! Not nice!
Erika G — Google review
I live across from them and they are very unreasonable I'm 7 months pregnant and they towed my truck that barely took up a spot in the parking lot because there's no parking in front of my house and when they have their food drive there vehicles are everywhere BUT the parking lot. Church or not if I have to follow the law so do they. Next time I'm filing a formal complaint with their admin.

Visitors often rave about the church's commitment to kindness and support, creating an environment where invigorating discussions on faith thrive. Whether you're attending a service or utilizing their food pantry, you can expect to be treated with respect and care.
I have always admired this Church back home in Ghana. I am Presbyterian myself. I always wanted to study at GVSU. Knowing I would be staying within the Grand Rapids area, I had to locate a Presbyterian Church closest to me. Westminster was the closest. I'm here in the area now and today, 1st September 2024, I get the opportunity to fellowship with Westminster Presbyterian Church for the very first time. A very welcoming Church. Indeed absolutely everyone is welcome. For the next two years or who knows probably more I will be in Grand Rapids, I will always be fellowshiping with this wonderful Church.

Jason D — Google review
Most of the people there are very nice. But the jamaican guy is very rude and it seems like he is like this with everyone. It's very uncomfortable when he is there because you just know for a fact it's going to be a problem or it's going to be something with him. That's why I would rather not get their help or go somewhere else. He is very rude and disrespectful. I was taught to respect my elders but that guy makes me want to go off on him every time I'm there so I choose not to go.
Bionkia P — Google review
Took someone there for their food pantry. They treat you with respect in there. They help you fine your right food if your not from that area, but they don't send you empty handed.

Whether you're indulging in local brews or exploring unique events like the World of Winter festival—where breathtaking installations await—you'll find plenty to enjoy.

WARNING.....hopefully I grapped your attention. This review doesn't reflect the City of Grand Rapids directly, but rather a warning of some of the restaurant staff stealing money from patrons. THREE times now, we have had waitresses/waiters add extra gratitude to the tip we have left, ie: leave $5 tip Credit Card charged an adtl $15. Please keep or take pictures of receipts and compare to what your card was charged. I have a feeling some waitresses/waiters feel entitle to more then what they deserve. This is fraud and punishable up to four years in prison and/or $20000 fine. Call police of this happens to you. PS all 3 times it was downtown GR restaurants.

Korean Faith Community Church is a delightful haven for worshippers in Grand Rapids, where the warmth of community and the grace of God come together beautifully. Led by Pastor Seunghyeon Song, who embodies humility and kindness, this small yet vibrant church offers a nurturing environment for both Korean-speaking and English-speaking attendees. The bilingual services ensure that everyone feels included, making it an inviting space for all.
Pastor Song is a man of God. He is gentle, humble, and Spirit-filled, like Jesus Christ, whom he loves and follows dearly. The pastoral staff there are also excellent ministers and love and serve the community with diligence and love. They are a Korean-speaking community, but always prepare English for both the praise and sermon, and in this way are so considerate about every soul that steps into the sanctuary. This is just one way how their spirit of service shows.

I gave three stars because the name and reasoning behind everything it contradicts itself saying it's an Evangelistic Free Church and then when I research Crossway it states that people behind everything is Evangelistic and I don't get why people have to put labels on everything and then they talked about how these Jewish writings were fired out of the Jewish Canon I don't know about you but that sounds to me very biased and if Jewish Was a Race it sound pretty racial to me I don't know how I can go about reading a book knowing that the very people that published the book had different intentions and I don't know how you can go about borrowing a religion that is not your own adapting it and then talking bad about the very people that you took it from to me that sounds exactly like the very same people that crucified Jesus and in all honesty I know an evangelist that could read you the Bible back to front without reading it and doesn't care about labels doesn't care about what color race or Creed you are when will the Christian stop persecuting the Jews it wasn't that use it was the very Minds that think like this God has shown me to return this book

The only positive reviews are from the brainwashed members. First PR church is controlling, abusive, and in complete denial of the real God. I’ve unfortunately been a member for over 15 years and have experienced the poor preaching, brainwashing, mental abuse, witnessed physical abuse, the manipulation from the elders and deacons. The elders told me at a house visitation that the Heidelberg Catechism was the word of God and was more complete than the Bible, which is why they preach from it every week; They went as far as to say it was inspired. Two pastors and an elder poked me in the chest upon leaving and said I was making a grave mistake to the demise of my family. The members are blind to the abuse and control. I highly suggest never stepping foot inside their denomination. Please read up on the abuse taking place from within, read up on the ministers and you’ll soon realize who they are.

Walker United Reformed Church is a vibrant community that truly embodies the spirit of fellowship and faith. Known for its warm atmosphere, this church actively participates in local events, such as the Buckley Old Engine Show, where they run a food stand. Their commitment to sharing their beliefs is evident through their friendly interactions and positive attitude. Visitors can enjoy delicious offerings like their renowned Meatloaf burger, which stands out among other options at the event.
Food Stand Review at Buckley Old Engine Show 2024. Walker URC mans a food stand at the Buckley Old Engine Show. They are very upfront about their faith and their attitude was extremely positive! They were very helpful. It was nice having another Grand Rapids native their a the show, too. The Meatloaf burger was a little steep in price, but the very best burger at the show by a wide margin! I've been around the block with burgers (anyone following me on Google Maps will know). This burger is not going to win awards, but it was definitely unique in a great way. It was juicy but firm. Meatloaf tends to fall apart, but this didn't at all. The cheese packet on the side caught me off guard a little. The cheese doesn't have time to melt on the burger which is important for texture and experience. It is a minor flaw, though. The scotcheroo was HUGE and the taste was huge, too. I almost bought another. The pop was from a dispensing machine and the ratios were right on, even with the ice. Good to the last drop. Hope they are a regular at the show. I'll be looking for them again. :D

The church has a small but welcoming congregation and offers an intimate fellowship experience. The pastor is known for being engaging and relatable, delivering thoughtful messages. Despite not having a traditional church building, the warm and friendly atmosphere makes it an inviting place for visitors. Additionally, the church hosts benefit sales as part of its community engagement efforts.
My wife and I were visitors a few weeks ago. They are a missional community with a truly local community-oriented vision. They have been providing food to neighbors all through the Covid-19 pandemic. They help other local churches who are suffering through this time as well. Friendly staff and leadership. They have a very informed and thoughtful approach to ministry. The pastor is very welcoming. The congregation is small but warm. My wife appreciated the fact that they prayed for the patients involved in a large car accident that occurred nearby earlier in the morning. We are most likely going to attend again in the future. Update: my wife and I are now regular attendees and enjoy volunteering. This is a great place to be part of a faith community that cares.

The Basilica of St. Adalbert, located in west Michigan, is a stunning Catholic church that is beautifully illuminated at night, creating excellent photo opportunities. It is highly recommended to visit this basilica in early June when they hold their annual Kielbasa Idol competition. This event features around a dozen local butchers and restaurants grilling up samples of their homemade Polish sausages for attendees to vote on their favorites.
Truly a magnificent Basilica to visit in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This majestic church is thriving with young families and devoted priests. We enjoyed a wonderful mass on The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. The songs during mass were incredible with the vocalist and musical accompaniment. The church is breathtaking with its many statues, beautiful stained glass figures of; Jesus, Blessed Mother Mary, St. Joseph, the Saints, etc. Be sure not to miss the mosaic Stations of the Cross. Truly a stop you want to make when visiting Grand Rapids!

Beautiful basilica. The dome is amazing. I loved the stained glass as well.

If you've ever wondered what the old churches in Europe look like, you'll get a good idea when you visit here! What's particularly nice about this parish is the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered daily as well as a 5:15pm Mass during the weekdays. I've noticed there is a strong presence of younger parishioners, mostly in their 20's and early 30's, including married couples with small children. The priests are very devout and take traditional Catholic teaching very seriously, yet in an approachable and loving way. The acoustics inside the church can take you by surprise, due to the domed structure and marble interior. The interior is also ornate with its stained-glass windows, religious paintings and statues. Simply beautiful!

I went there to take photos of the magnificent architecture. The doors were open so I went inside to take more photos. I sat down in a pew afterwards just to take in all the beauty but the best part was how overwhelmed I became and how spiritually moving it was sitting in there all alone.

Gorgeous Catholic Basilica in west Michigan. They light it up at night for good photos at well. I highly recommend visiting in early June for their annual Kielbasa Idol competition. About a dozen local butchers and restaurants grill up sample portions of their homemade Polish sausages as attendees vote on their favorite. Usually good polka bands, mixed with classic rock cover bands play throughout the day in the beer tent as everyone is socializing and drinking cold beer to combat the meat sweats. This could be the best way to spend $5 in the city. The basilica also hosts live concerts and holiday performances. Terrific asset to the neighborhood and city.

Many families have been attending for generations, while new families continuously join. This church offers an opportunity to learn about the ancient Orthodox faith and experience the early traditions of the Church through observing its rich imagery, smelling the incense, and listening to the enchanting chants during services.

St. Nicholas is such a welcoming and loving community! We are blessed with stunning iconography, genuine caring clergy, incredibly talented chanters and a wonderful church family. Please come and see the Orthodox Faith in action at St. Nicholas!
Gretchen Z — Google review
I came to Kuyper College in 2021. In 2022, I visited St. Nicholas for the first time on Pascha. At some point, I asked then Fr. Michael that I would like to become Orthodox, and so he emailed me scheduling a meeting. I never responded to him and ghosted him. An entire year later, I emailed him back, and he welcomed me again. I started attending with my girlfriend and we were brought into the Catechumenate. Furthermore, I interned for a bit with St. Nicholas for a Kuyper course, growing even closer to the community, growing a deeper love for Church, and serving the people and the clergy. On the East side, I haven't seen too many nice Churches. Grand Rapids has shown me amazing and loving Churches--I've dabbled in Presbyterian, Reformed, and Lutheran, but St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church has been intentional with me through and through and has not only taught me Orthodoxy but Christianity--and it also lives up to the claim that the Orthodox Church makes about being "the fullness of truth." St. Nicholas is strongly community focused and you can not come to this Church without being pushed to serve. I have developed great friendships and connections with the people here, and I have been pushed to serve wherever I will go next.

Been attending St Nicholas for over a year now and its a welcoming Church with a good mix of people from college students to married couples to grandparents sitting in the pews with their grand kids. Lots of families have come here for decades and new families are attending here all the time. If you want to learn about Orthodoxy and the ancient Church this is the place to visit and just see it. If you just sit there during a service and look at the images, smell the incense, and listening to the chanters you truly are taken to the early Church. After a few services I knew I was home.
