Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Queen Victoria Building, a historic shopping center in Sydney's CBD, is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture designed by George McRae. Built in the late 19th century, it now houses over 175 modern stores including renowned brands like Tiffany and Ralph Lauren alongside charming tea rooms, florists, and jewelry stores. The building's grand arches, pillars, and stained-glass windows reflect the artistry of its craftsmen from a bygone era.
The Queen Victoria Building is a masterpiece of architecture. This building is immaculately well kept. There are multiple floors of shops and food establishments. From the beautiful stained glass to the old elevators it's a sight to see. It really is a testament to how much there care about the building when you see how clean and well kept it is. If you're in the area stop in , shop, eat and take in its beauty.
Chris A — Google review
The QVB is truly one of the most beautiful shopping centres in the world. Beyond the endless high-end shops and excellent eateries spread across its multiple floors, the building itself is a spectacular example of Romanesque Revival architecture. It's a wonderful place to walk and soak up history. And speaking of history: the famous mystery letter from Queen Elizabeth II is a real-life time capsule and won't be opened until 2085. The instructions for the letter are on display, leaving visitors to wonder what message the late Queen left for the future citizens of Sydney.
A W — Google review
Exquisite building that blew us away. A mix of mid-high retail shops and cute cafes with good coffee and light bites to eat. The architecture is beautiful and the vibe is exciting and classy.
Nicholas J — Google review
Queen Victoria Building (QVB) is a great shopping spot with stunning old-fashioned architecture. The interior design is elegant and full of character, though the layout can be a bit confusing at first. It’s a lovely place to walk around, explore the stores, and take beautiful photos Perfect for anyone who enjoys history and style.
Punnatorn V — Google review
Queen Victoria Building (QVB) is one of Sydney’s most prominent shopping destinations, known for its collection of high-end and luxury brands. Inside, you’ll find a range of premium stores offering fashion, accessories, and specialty goods, making it a go-to venue for those seeking upscale shopping. The atmosphere feels elegant and refined, reflecting the building’s reputation as a landmark retail destination. What makes QVB truly special is its beautifully preserved historical architecture. With vintage details, stained-glass windows, ornate railings, and restored heritage features, the building offers a unique blend of luxury shopping and cultural heritage. Walking through its halls feels like stepping into a piece of Sydney’s history while enjoying a modern, stylish retail experience.
Andy W — Google review
Best heritage shopping centre in Sydney city Queen Victoria Building. Multiple levels of amazing cafe with best coffee, meals & deserts. Plenty of shops, arcades & areas for beautiful photos. It is next to Pitt Street Mall the main shopping street. Park your car at Centro cinema car park centre Saturday or Sunday for $15 for whole day.
Jason O — Google review
Built in 1898, this beautiful and well preserved architectural heritage building now houses multiple shops and eateries. Good for an afternoon stroll to window shop, get some lunch and wine, or coffee and cake and relax. A must visit one time in Sydney.
M4l2K T — Google review
What an amazing store, lots of ornate points of interest, stained glass windows, spiral staircase, fancy fretwork, banisters, and a dome of epic proportions. The Australian Clock is a truly wonderful thing to behold. I wanted to spend more time looking around, but we were on a mission and only managed a brief viewing.

Factory Outlets
Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre, located in Drummoyne, Sydney, offers a unique shopping experience with stunning views of Sydney Harbour. The center features a diverse range of fashion, food, and lifestyle brands. Visitors can explore the Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet which houses various retail stores and dining options. Additionally, the area boasts the historic Dawn Fraser Baths for relaxation and swimming amidst heritage surroundings. Art enthusiasts can visit the Kate Owen Gallery to admire contemporary Aboriginal art.
many of my colleague recommended this factory mall. visited on a weekend am when the mall just opened. not so big mall and can visit shopping within 2hrs. found a few interesting shops while there. highly recommended if u have in mind what to buy when in Sydney and the prices were cheaper here.
Shalli A — Google review
Birkenhead Point is an okay place to visit. There weren’t many shops or food options, which was a bit disappointing if you’re expecting a big outlet experience. That said, the view by the water was absolutely amazing and probably the best part of the visit. It’s a clean and peaceful spot, great for a quick stroll or to sit and relax. Worth a short visit, especially if you’re nearby, but not something I’d go out of my way for.
Charlene — Google review
Birkenhead Point is one of the best outlet shopping centres in Sydney! Beautiful location right by the water, great mix of designer and everyday brands, and the prices are usually much better than regular retail. The mall is clean and spacious, with plenty of food options and parking available. I love grabbing a coffee and walking along the marina after shopping — it’s got such a nice, relaxed vibe. Definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for quality brands at outlet prices. 👌
Arshia D — Google review
Location It’s very close to Sydney CBD (about 6 km), on the harbour, with nice waterfront / marina views. The open‑air / covered outdoor style means it feels airy, with natural light and scenic surroundings. More than 120 premium/outlet stores. Brands include both international (e.g. Calvin Klein, Coach) and Australian designers. Good place to find discounted fashion, shoes, accessories. Especially for those who enjoy bargain hunting. Some stores offer steep discounts (up to ~70 %) during sales.
Maureen M — Google review
The range of stores here is fantastic, featuring many top brands with great deals that make the visit absolutely worthwhile. The dining area has a nice mix of quick snacks and relaxed sit-down options — perfect for recharging after a long day of shopping. Located right by Port Jackson Harbour, it also offers stunning views to enjoy while you eat. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves quality brands at outlet prices!
Manpreet K — Google review
Love the shops, love the views. Check the surrounding area too. Breathtaking! However I wish there more food choices. Gozleme is good.
Esther K — Google review
"Birkenhead Point" refers to both the geographical peninsular location in Drummoyne, Sydney, and the waterfront precinct at that location, which features a major brand outlet, residences, a marina, and restaurants. Once an industrial site, notably home to a large Dunlop rubber factory, the area was redeveloped in the late 1970s and became a significant commercial and lifestyle destination What it means: * The Location: It is a specific point of land that juts out into Sydney Harbour. * The Destination: It is known for the Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre, a large shopping complex offering deals on premium brands, as well as its beautiful harbor views. Key Features: * Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre: Sydney's largest brand outlet, featuring over 120 premium and international designer brands. * Waterfront Dining: The center includes restaurants and cafes situated at the water's edge with views of Sydney Harbour. * Marina: A significant marina with approximately 200 berths. * Residential Apartments: The area includes residential apartments, with the apartments being added in the 1990s. History: * Industrial Past: The site was previously a heavily industrialized area, with a significant history in rubber manufacturing. * Redevelopment: After the closure of the Dunlop factory, the site was redeveloped, with the outlet center opening in 1979. * Lifestyle Destination: Over time, it evolved into the mixed-use residential and commercial precinct it is today.

Pitt Street Mall is a lively, pedestrian-only street in Sydney that boasts a mix of historic and modern shopping centers along with specialty boutiques. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this street has something for everyone. The highlight is definitely Pitt Street Mall, a pedestrian-only zone packed with world-class retail outlets like Westfield Sydney, Myer, and David Jones. It’s a paradise for fashion lovers and window shoppers alike. The street is always buzzing with life — from street performers and seasonal decorations to busy professionals and excited tourists. Great place to visit for a hungry tummy. This mall has a great variety of food & drinks. We tried the Italian restaurant & it did not disappointment.
Jax T — Google review
Pitt Street Mall is a shopper’s paradise and one of the best spots in Sydney for retail therapy. With a wide variety of stores ranging from high-end luxury brands to more affordable options, there’s something for everyone. The central location in the CBD makes it easily accessible and perfect for a day out. The mall has a vibrant atmosphere, and the open-air design is a nice touch, though it can get crowded during peak times. Some areas could use a bit more seating or rest spaces for shoppers to take a break. Overall, Pitt Street Mall is a must-visit for anyone who loves shopping and soaking in the energy of the city. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists!

So many cool stores! Something for everyone. Make sure you check out the Lego store, it's the last in the world! The Arcade is a must see, such a beautiful old building, Dinosaur Designs has their store upstairs.
Sas W — Google review
Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall is a vibrant hub of street entertainment, lazing on the seats or shopping in one of many recognisable stores. The Mall is wheel chair and kid friendly. There’s room for every one of all sizes, ages and varying mobility. Many stores remain open at night, as well as street entertainers doing their thing. This commercial area of Sydney has done well fusing business, shopping and recreation. One advantage of Pitt Street Mall is the easy access to nearby attractions, and landmarks such as The Queen Victoria Building, Sydney Tower, Hyde Park and Circular Quay. #sydney #pittstreetmall #shopping #entertainment

Best Mall IN Sydney ,so much to do ,Pitt Street Mall is the pedestrianised section of Pitt Street in the Sydney central business district, in the Australian state of New South Wales. Running for approximately 200 metres between Market Street and King Street, it is one block long and one of Australia's busiest and most cosmopolitan shopping precincts. Just so many different food outlets, bars 🍸 restaurants and shopping retailers
John K — Google review
I went with my 3 year old daughter I have to admit the city hasn’t got much for kids to play when we go to the Pitt street mall however when we went to Lego she had the time of her life playing with Lego other kids and two levels of fun we even bought an Elsa Lego puzzle And I being the adult had a great time cause my daughter enjoyed herself and she wasn’t bored
Sparkles S — Google review
It's more than just a regular street, or shopping shops all along it. It is lively enough to host numerous artistic, musical, protest, and cultural events. It is home to high-end retailers as well as tech giants like Apple and Microsoft. I love ..

World Square is a bustling indoor/outdoor shopping center that offers a wide range of international dining options and popular clothing stores all in one convenient location. The precinct features casual international restaurants, popular clothing stores like Calvin Klein Jeans, Forever New, and Superdry, as well as shoe shops like Nine West. Additionally, it houses a late-night supermarket for added convenience. Families with children can enjoy the brand new indoor play area at Ed.
World Square is a great place to shop, eat, and have fun. There are lots of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. The atmosphere is lively and energetic. It is a nice place for meeting friends or catching up on some shopping.
Ly V — Google review
World Square in Sydney’s CBD is a really good urban space that offers a nice balance between convenience, comfort, and energy. One of the things I enjoy most about it is the outdoor plaza area. It’s well-designed and has a spacious, open feel despite being surrounded by tall buildings. The lighting in the patio area is particularly pleasant—soft and inviting in the evenings, making it an ideal place to sit and relax after a day in the city. The lighting display in the plaza also adds a touch of atmosphere that’s especially enjoyable for families. It creates a sense of playfulness and wonder that kids really seem to love, and it makes the space feel safe and engaging after dark. There’s enough room for children to move around while parents can sit nearby with a coffee or a bite to eat. There’s a good range of shops and food options within World Square, catering to a mix of quick snacks, sit-down meals, and everyday essentials. It’s easy to access from different parts of the city, and the layout makes it convenient to navigate without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. Overall, it’s a well-thought-out public space that functions not just as a shopping destination, but as a community-friendly gathering point. It’s a place I find myself returning to often, whether for a casual meal, to meet up with friends, or just to enjoy a bit of open-air calm in the middle of the city

It's always crowded. There are obviously lots of store and food court. (Somehow, there is always a construction nearby as well) Despite the crowd and loud noise, you still can find a spot to simply rest, wait for a friend, or enjoy your meal

Located at the corner of Pitt St. Mall and Market Street in Sydney, Australia, Westfield Sydney is a sleek shopping center offering a convenient and upscale shopping experience. It features an array of designer and high-street fashion brands such as Chanel, Miu Miu, Nike, Zara, Aje, Zimmermann, Scanlan Theodore, and more. The center also houses popular department stores like David Jones and Myer along with dining options.
This is probably one of the best Westfield shopping malls I have visited in Australia. I came here during my Sydney visit and really loved exploring this Westfield centre. They got most of the brands I was looking for and the mall has an extensive collection of amenities & activities including the Sydney Eye Tower, which I visited and really loved as well. The staff members working at the mall and the Sydney Eye Tower were very friendly & welcoming. I was in a rush after my Eye Tower tour and the lady at the gift shop was very assuring about holding an item to buy whenever I come again. Overall, it was an amazing visit and I hope to be back soon on my next Sydney trip.

A large and diverse mall that connects to the QVB underground. A good food court and easily accessible from public transport. The Sydney Eye Tower is on the 5th floor.

Sharing how wonderful the Westfield Sydney concierge service was today. Without the help of Chantel on concierge we might not have made our special dining experience at the Sydney tower. If you’re visiting Sydney, head first to Sydney Westfield concierge for directions 🤩

Multiple level shopping plaza with access to the Sydney Eye Tower. It was a very modern building with high level shops within. The facilities were well cared for and clean.
Ryan A — Google review
I took my son to the Sydney Eye at 10am and it was the perfect time! No line ups, hardly anyone there, it was easy and friendly and fun! We LOVED the experience. Side note for anyone visiting that they only accept cash payments at the top of the tower 💰

Very huge building with every kind of product and connected with other shopping malls. Very gorgeous and splendid. There’s even a huge tower which you can see far away! 🩵

Valet is supposed to be convenient which is why we pay double to have our car parked. This is everything but luxury. There is one to two people on the floor during a busy Friday. Workers standing inside twiddling their thumbs instead of parking our cars. They don’t open or close doors, open boots for your shopping bags. Nothing. Learn customer service and give us what we pay for. I literally waited over 20 minutes in a line to have someone give me service so I can leave my car!

The Strand Arcade, a historic multilevel shopping arcade in Sydney, was built in 1891 and has witnessed the city's vibrant past. It has survived through significant events such as the roaring twenties, two World Wars, and a major fire. Resembling London's Burlington Arcade, it offers an elegant Victorian ambiance and houses upscale retailers like Alex Perry, Manning Cartell, Haigh Chocolates, and Raphael Jewellers.
Where history meets modern retail trends. Great little shops and cafes on ground level. Many people just stay on ground level missing out of the fashion icons on upper levels. Oh best part; couches on upper levels for husbands
Kaan — Google review
Historical building converted into shopping mall, rather similar to QVB, although a bit smaller. Good place to take photos as well. Shop wise a good mix of fashion + beverages.

The best arcade to play tourist in the city. Aesthetically pleasing, taking you back to nostalgic moments while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. May I recommend Gumption Coffee by Coffee Alchemy, it is absolutely the best and most consistent. I loved the decor especially around Christmas time.

The Strand Arcade is a heritage-listed Victorian-style retail arcade located at 195–197 Pitt Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Linking George and Pitt streets, it is Sydney's only surviving Victorian shopping arcade dating from the late nineteenth century. Established in 1891 and opened in 1892.

THIS SERVER WAS STRAIGHT UP RUDE! she lacks courtesy and customer service. please see the ‘Served by’ number. she didn’t greet her customers the first thing my family walked in. her attitude is a problem too. it’s my cousin’s bday today and she treats her badly. my cousin is planning on going to a trip and wants a good quality luggage. she has no regard with the items being sold AND no regard to the customers. if that server chooses to work there, she needs to understand her responsibilities. one of them is to ensure customers are treated well. even though a customer may not purchase the item, they may still order it. there’s still a possibility. so, if a customer will be paying for an item they should receive an item worth paying for.

It boasts over 120 stores featuring more than 80 international and Australian designer brands. This place has everything. Food for every taste bud. Retail outlets that are genuinely on sale. Smart shoppers will know the difference. Spacious walkways. Parking - well there’s plenty but everyone just wants same level well that can’t be a negative. Toilets are clean and the overall place is clean

Great place for very good quality buys! Easy parking and if you have an electric vehicle, you easily charge up your vehicle! Great food hall with lots of choices to pick from, you will never go hungry! But the outlets, the outlets are so good… must go for those special things we all need and desire!

I really like DFO Homebush — it’s one of my go-to spots for shopping, especially during the mid-year and end-of-year sales. As someone who’s quite conscious about how I spend money, I always plan ahead and take advantage of these sale periods. It allows me to go on a bit of a budget-friendly shopping spree without any guilt. I remember once buying 11 items from Cotton On for just $130, which felt like such a win! Whether I’m shopping for myself or picking up gifts to take overseas, this place always delivers great value. I often add things to my cart or list in advance and then wait for the best time to grab them at discounted prices. The parking is convenient and not too far from the entrance, but I’d recommend going on weekdays if you want to avoid the crowds. Around Christmas time, it can get chaotic with long queues — I once waited for an hour just to pay! But overall, DFO Homebush is a great shopping destination with a wide variety of stores and consistent deals. A smart choice for bargain hunters and savvy shoppers alike!
Sanjaya S — Google review
DFO Homebush offers a mix of sports gear, electronics, fashion outlets, and a handful of food stalls to recharge between shopping sprees. While the variety is decent, I found the prices to be on par with regular stores outside—so don’t expect massive bargains. The food options are also somewhat limited, so it’s more of a quick bite than a full dining experience. Still, it’s a convenient spot if you want everything under one roof.

👎 Review🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳🪳 I usually visit this store quite often, but during my last visit I saw a lot of cockroaches in the kids’ toy section. 😟 This is completely unacceptable in an area where children play. What’s worse is that the fast-food section is located right next to it, which makes it a serious hygiene concern. I really hope the store management will take this issue seriously and improve their cleaning and hygiene standards to protect families and children. 24/8/2025

Located at 3-5 Underwood Road, Homebush, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a great location to come to for all your BIG brand outlet shopping. There is plenty of brands from Versace, Victoria’s Secret, UGG, Strand, Snooze, Smiggle, Road & Gunn, Platypus Shoes, Peter Alexander, Max Mara, Adidas, Nike, Armani, Billabong, Calvin Klein, Ferragamo, GANT and much more. There’s a great little children’s playground situated near the food court which has a small selection of places to eat or drink such as Bamboo Sushi 🍣, Mad Mex, Roll’d, Maharaja’s Indian Cuisine, Oporto and more as well as a Gellatissimo for a beautiful dessert. Situated throughout the centre is also Lindt Chocolate Outlet, Muffin Break and others. The centre basically consists of 2 main floors with the upper floor holding more shops from what I saw. There’s plenty of seating situated throughout and very good toilet 🚻 facilities including disabled toilets. It’s very wheelchair 🦼 accessible and plenty of parking 🅿️. I wouldn’t say it’s cheaper to come as the sales/specials I saw were pretty much on a par with the same shops in main stream shopping centres. It’s an easy centre to get around. I would definitely recommend visiting. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

the go-to place for outlet shopping in Sydney. 🛍️ With a wide range of local and international brands, you can find great discounts on clothing, shoes, bags, and homeware. The layout is easy to walk around, and the food court offers plenty of dining options for a break. It can get crowded on weekends, but parking and access are manageable. A must-visit if you’re looking for bargains and brand-name shopping in one spot.

DFO Homebush is a shopper's paradise! Located just 15km from the Sydney CBD, this outlet mall offers an unbeatable selection of top brands at discounted prices. With over 80 stores, you'll find everything from fashion to lifestyle products. I was blown away by the range of brands available, including Polo Ralph Lauren, Converse, and Fossil. The discounts are incredible, with prices slashed up to 70% off regular prices. I scored some amazing deals on designer clothing and accessories. The mall is well-laid out and easy to navigate, with undercover parking available. Be sure to arrive early, especially on weekends, as parking can get a bit hectic. Overall, DFO Homebush is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for quality brands at discounted prices. Whether you're a fashionista or just looking for some great deals, you won't be disappointed. So, grab your friends and get ready to shop 'til you drop! *Rating:* 4.6/5 stars

Shopping here is very convenient, with everything you need from Kmart, Target, Coles, Harris Farms, and the Apple Store. The food area is especially great, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes from different countries! There are also many beauty salons inside the shopping centre, including hair salons, cosmetic stores, and nail, brow, and lash studios — all offering excellent services at very reasonable prices compared to others. There’s even a spacious, modern, and airy play area for children — something that most other shopping centres don’t have! My family, especially my daughter, really loves coming to this shopping centre whenever we get the chance! 🩷

Market City is such a fun place to visit in the heart of Haymarket. It has a great mix of outlet shops, Asian supermarkets, and plenty of food options. Paddy’s Market downstairs is always buzzing – perfect for fresh fruit, snacks, and souvenirs. The centre itself feels clean and well looked after, and the dining area upstairs has some really nice Asian restaurants. It’s also super easy to get to by train or light rail. A good spot to shop, eat, and explore if you’re around Chinatown!

Market City Shopping Centre (MCSC), Haymarket is a multi-cultural shopping centre located in the Haymarket area of Sydney's CBD, specifically within the Chinatown precinct. It's known for its combination of factory outlet shopping, diverse retail stores, and its location is above Paddy's Markets (ground floor). Paddy’s Markets is Australia’s oldest traditional market in Sydney in 2 locations, Haymarket and Flemington (located 15 minutes from CBD). Hay St. Market on the ground floor is Australia’s biggest foodie market with over 20 different cuisines. The MCSC is housed in a heritage-listed building, originally established as a fruit and vegetable market in 1909. There is an Asian food court on the 1st floor. The 3rd floor has some other dining options. The shopping centre is on the 2nd floor. MCSC is easily accessible, being a short walk from Central Station.

Westfield Bondi Junction is a large shopping mall in the suburb of Bondi, Sydney. It has a variety of big-name outlets, as well as groceries, a food court, and a cinema. The mall is located in the heart of Sydney CBD and is easily accessible by public transport.

For us, the visit to this shopping centre became quite an extraordinary experience. On a recent road trip from Melbourne to QLD, while returning via the east coast, we stayed in Sydney for a couple of days. During that time, we visited Bondi Beach, had some lunch there and then decided to visit this amazing Westfield shopping centre in Bondi Junction. We drove in to the car park and parked in their multi level parking facility. Then took the elevators down. Looked through the beautiful shops/stores selling a wide array of merchandise, huge varieties of products and so on. But when it was time to leave, we just couldn't find our car 🤣😂. Because there are two adjoining towers in this shopping centre with their own parking areas, it became quite confusing. For a while, we ended up going from one level to another, taking different elevators, going from one building to another and so on. So much so, that even the very helpful information counter staff, could not provide the exact solution. He advised us to contact the security officer or some parking assistant who seemed non existent during that time. Another very helpful gentleman told us that he's been coming here since they opened and he still has difficulty locating his car on occasions. He further said that, when this shopping centre first opened many customers lost their vehicles and that it was a nightmare. 🤣😂😁😅 Anyway, after wasting about half an hour, we finally managed to locate our vehicle. As such, based on this experience, I would recommend first time visitors or interstate travellers using these car parking facilities here, to take some pictures of their vehicles with as much information as possible before taking the elevators down. At the end of the day though, for us it became something like a Piss-Farting adventure! 🤣😅😂😁😄

This morning, I had an unexpected accident at the Bondi Junction mall when my shoelace got caught in the escalator after I stepped aside to tie it. One of the security guards immediately came to check if I was okay and kindly asked me to stay for a moment. Shortly after, another security guard arrived with a first aid kit and carefully treated my injury while giving me an ice pack to ease the pain. I was genuinely touched by their professionalism and kindness. They continuously made sure I was alright and even offered to call an ambulance if I needed one. After the first aid treatment, they accompanied me to my destination and offered me a wheelchair as well. Although my injury wasn’t serious—just a small bruise—their quick response and caring attitude truly impressed me. I also want to thank one of the YSL staff members who came over and kindly gave me a bottle of water. I deeply appreciate the excellent service, care, and kindness shown by the Bondi Junction mall security team and staff. Thank you so much for your help and compassion!

It’s been over two months now with no lights working near Liquorland and the Coles car park area. This has created an unsafe environment, especially during the evening. It’s quite concerning as the lack of lighting increases the risk of accidents and makes the area feel unsafe, with suspicious activity often noticed at night. It’s disappointing that this issue hasn’t been addressed for such a long time. The safety of customers and staff should be a top priority, and I hope the management takes immediate action to fix the lighting and improve security in the car park.

SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is a must-visit aquatic attraction in Sydney, offering five distinct habitat exhibitions showcasing Australia's marine life. Conveniently located near Circular Quay, it provides easy access for visitors. The aquarium houses a diverse range of ocean creatures and offers educational sessions on animal feeding and more. It's an ideal family-friendly activity that allows you to explore the rich underwater world of Australia's aquatic animals.
SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is an amazing experience and a must-visit in the city! The variety of marine life is incredible – from playful penguins and graceful rays to the impressive sharks swimming right above you in the tunnel. The exhibits are beautifully set up, and you really feel like you’re exploring the underwater world. It’s a fantastic spot for families, couples, or even solo visits. The penguin boat ride is a unique highlight, and the jellyfish displays are absolutely stunning. Everything is well maintained, and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend adding this to your Sydney itinerary – it’s both fun and educational!

The aquarium is big and full of amazing marine life. It’s right next to Wild Life and Madame Tussauds, so you can easily visit all three in one morning. I recommend going early to enjoy everything without rushing. I got my tickets online with a great deal — one pass for the Aquarium, the Zoo, and the Tower Eye. Such a magical place for kids! 🐠🐧✨

Really loved this aquarium. Easy to buy tickets online (and can save when bundling with collocated attractions). Highlight was the Dugong (unique to Indo-west Pacific). But the "ride" thru the penguins was fantastic (and unique among ALL the aquariums we have visited). Located on Darling Harbour, it's a wonderful "touristy" area in central Sydney. It was an easy 30 minute walk from our hotel near Hyde Park. Very friendly for wheelchairs and strollers to boot. Highly recommend!!!

Visited 11am on a Wednesday hoping it would be quiet however there was a school excursion which negatively impacted my experience as kids were running around and screaming especially in the enclosed tunnels it was very loud. The 8 free photos weren’t clear on what was happening as it was 2 photos taken but they AI’d it into 8 fake filters. On a positive note, had a good variety of species of animals, being able to touch the some sea life was very fun. Penguin ride did need to be longer as it was over very very quickly.

Sea life Sydney was a wonderful experience.I have been to other Aquariums in different cities but this one is the best so far. We have purchased tickets same day and there was hardly any waiting time. Tickets are slightly cheaper if purchased online day before. Best part was watching penguins. Boat ride to penguins was very very short. Time should be extended for that. Not able to watch them properly while we were in boat. Very well built with clear directions.

Beautifully done interactive aquarium. Great for kids to learn and love nature. Just wish it had been made with wider aisles as prams are everywhere. Loved the sharks and stingrays but really it all was a joy. We went on a Monday and it was busy but not impossible. I would think weekends could get hectic.

Nature & Parks
The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a serene walled garden in Sydney, located near Darling Harbour. It was gifted to Australia by the city of Guangzhou as a symbol of friendship between the two countries. The garden features pavilions, ponds, waterfalls, and exotic plants inspired by classical Guangzhou gardens. Despite its smaller size compared to other green spaces in the city, it offers a unique charm and tranquil atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
The Chinese Garden of Friendship was the most beautiful garden I have ever had the pleasure of exploring. The photos truly do not do justice to the beauty and serenity of the garden. Before I knew it, I had already spent over 3 hours just wandering along the paths and losing myself amongst the plants and gorgeous architecture. I can't wait to come back again, and again, and again. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
Krystal E — Google review
Lovely garden, very tranquil and relaxing with several small waterfalls. Around the paths there are many different types of flowers and trees, some ducks, turtles, dragonfly, koi fish and lots of lizards. That would be 5/5. However at exactly 4:29 a staff walked up and said that they were closing in 3 minutes. I noted the time and rushed through the final area and took a few more photos, he came up and said "Well get a move on" so I checked the time, it hasn't even been 1 minute. So I'm reducing a star for not telling us they close early, no reason given, and rushing us out in less time than he said. This happened on Saturday 27 Sept 2025.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. An abundance of plants with Information signs about them. Pavilions to sit in and relax, ponder. A pavilion for dining is there and I highly recommend it. The food is extremely tasty.

A very tranquil, beautiful Chinese landscape garden. Definitely one of the best designed and best maintained I've ever seen outside of China. Maybe the largest I've been ever seen as well, although I'm sure it's not the largest outside of China. Lots of lizards enjoying it here as well. Only downside: on a hot day, it's a bitter hotter in the garden than outside of it, but there are plenty of shaded spots and there's some wind despite the walls and buildings surrounding it. It took me around 1 hour to very leisurely walk through the whole garden, take in the views and take scenic pictures. And another hour to really enjoy it, sit down here and there, etc. So if you're just here for sightseeing, 1 hour will be plenty of time, everyone else should probably plan 2-3 hours or more if you plan to enjoy a meal or some afternoon tea in the tea room.

Absolutely gorgeous gardens. So much to see, I spent hours in there walking around and finding all kinds of hidden little spots to view. A great place to have a picnic as there are little areas with seating to sit back and enjoy and listen to the sounds. I can't believe that it is surrounded by the city. It's so peaceful and beautiful.
Karen D — Google review
What a gem. Such a beautiful, peaceful place to walk around. If I lived in Sydney I would buy the annual pass. Koi feeding at 11:30 was also really interesting to watch.
Teneile H — Google review
It is a nice garden set up with typical traditional Chinese architecture, bonsai plants and water features. However the $12 entry is steep given the size and state of maintenance (for example the water is all very green and has a film on top). The opening hours are also a negative, coming into summer in Sydney it would be quite a nice place to relax into golden hour but they have a strict 5pm closing time. The water dragons are everywhere and quite comfortable with people.
Trevor A — Google review
It’s a beautiful hidden oasis from the city. I’ve been coming here since the I was a kid in the 90s living interstate. Being dragged along by my parents and relatives. Now I’m back dragging my own kid through the garden. It’s as beautiful and as calming as I remembered it. Well worth the visit.

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is a compact yet diverse zoo located conveniently on the Darling Harbour foreshore, making it an ideal stop for those looking to experience Australia's iconic wildlife without dedicating an entire day. The zoo features walk-through habitats where visitors can encounter native animals such as kangaroos, koalas, wombats, platypuses, and crocodiles.
A perfect place to take kids or overseas visitors but also lovely to visit this slice of Australian wildlife in the centre of the city. It is set out very well and has displays of icon Aussie animals and some surprising inclusions such as bugs and snakes. There are great talks by knowledgeable experts and you can see feeding as well. There is a cafe in the top level near the koalas. A good souvenir shop at the exit. A fun place and educational.
G M — Google review
We visited Sydney Zoo with my old parents and the kids. We had a good day and enjoyed it. We couldn’t find some animals, which was funny — maybe we missed them! The zoo isn’t very big, and there weren’t tons of animals, but what we saw was nice. The entrance fee was a bit pricey, I think. Overall, we had fun and everyone enjoyed it. The kids loved seeing the animals, and my parents liked the easy access and shade. Would go again, just maybe not for the animals alone, it’s more for a family day out.
Shenna Q — Google review
We visited WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and enjoyed seeing so many native Australian animals up close, especially the koalas and kangaroos. The exhibits are well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. At the same time, we couldn’t help but feel sorry for some of the animals given the limited space. Overall, it was still an interesting and worthwhile visit.

The WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is a fantastic showcase of Australia’s unique and diverse wildlife, right in the heart of the city at Darling Harbour. What makes it so special is the way it brings the country’s most iconic animals together in one immersive setting, giving both locals and visitors the chance to experience the richness of Australia’s natural heritage without leaving Sydney. 🦘 A Celebration of Australian Animals From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with creatures that define the Australian landscape. Kangaroos and wallabies roam in open enclosures where you can see them up close, and the koalas—always a highlight—make for unforgettable encounters, especially in the dedicated Koala Rooftop area. For many international visitors, seeing these animals in such an intimate way is an absolute dream. 🐊 Reptiles, Birds & More The zoo also offers thrilling encounters with some of Australia’s more formidable residents. The massive saltwater crocodile is a true showstopper, reminding visitors of the raw power of the country’s reptiles. Colorful native birds, snakes, and lizards round out the collection, each presented in habitats designed to reflect their natural environments. The variety is impressive—whether you love marsupials, reptiles, or feathered friends, there’s something here to amaze you. 🌿 Design & Atmosphere Despite being in the middle of the city, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo feels surprisingly immersive. The enclosures are thoughtfully designed to balance visitor access with animal comfort, and the pathways wind naturally from one habitat to another. You can wander through lush greenery, step into walk-through aviaries, and enjoy encounters that feel close but respectful. It’s compact enough to explore in a few hours, yet packed with highlights that make it feel far bigger than its footprint. 👏 Staff & Experiences The staff deserve special mention—their enthusiasm and knowledge bring the zoo to life. Keeper talks and feeding demonstrations aren’t just educational, they’re engaging and fun, helping visitors of all ages connect with the animals on a deeper level. Families with kids especially benefit from the interactive displays and hands-on learning opportunities. ✨ Why It’s Worth Visiting What sets WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo apart is the convenience of experiencing Australia’s most famous animals all in one place, just steps away from the harbor. For tourists on a short stay, it’s an incredible opportunity to see kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and crocodiles without needing to travel into the outback. For locals, it’s a reminder of the extraordinary biodiversity that makes Australia unique. ⸻ ✅ In short: WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is beautifully designed, educational, and full of memorable encounters. With its diverse collection, friendly staff, and unbeatable location, it offers a wonderful taste of Australia’s wildlife right in the city center.

One of the best zoos we’ve ever been to! The animals are clearly all so well cared for, with spacious enclosures for them all and as a result we were able to see many of them active and playing with one another. The two baby chimps were so fun to watch! Our daughter did the keeper for a day behind the scenes activity and loved it.
Courtney S — Google review
Good choice on rainy days as it is largely opaque and covered outside. The koala experience was fun and you also get some pictures to go with it. The zoo is nicely decorated according to the animals you can see. Ideal for with children!
Pieter W — Google review
It's located close to Darling harbour, along with Sea Life aquarium and Madamme Tussads. We visited here on a weekday morning. It was less crowded. There are a lot of animals here, specifically the ones local to Australia that you get to see. You get to see Koala, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Tasmanian Devil, reptiles, etc. They also let you take photos with the Koala. There are various programs as well spread out the day focussed on Koala, Kangaroo, etc. The premises are well maintained and clean. They have accessibility throughout the premises too. There's a cafe near to Koala spot for light eats and beverages. Overall we enjoyed the day visiting here and totally worth it. Recommend to purchase the entrance ticket as a combo alongside nearby attractions.
Vinayak K — Google review
If you are really hard pressed for time and have to tick off seeing the big 5, go for it. It is a small place. The female Kangaroo's are much smaller in size and mostly just laying around. A few Koala's as well but I really did not get to see them in action. A tad bit disappointed but the zoo staff are kind. They interact with you and tell you more about the animals, if you ask them.

Amazing experience! Visited here for my birthday this week with my mum to see the new Taylor Swift figure and it’s stunning!! loved every moment here. All staff were fabulous especially Ben who gave me a birthday button and did a little photo shoot for us!! was another great male worker but cannot remember his name sorry!. 13/10 experience Only suggestion would be some props for Taylor, maybe a mic prop :)

I would like to congratulate you and your staff. Today my bestie and I went to see Madame Tussauds in Sydney and I had accidentally dropped my debit card and a staff member named Ben saw it and returned it to me. He asked if we were visiting Sydney and he took some amazing photos of us with the wax pieces that we would never have been able to take together with our beloved bear. The food was really delicious and a generous portion, it was definitely worth it. 🥰 Excuse my photos, I had already started eating when I said "I have to recommend this delight" The only thing I would improve would be the cleanliness of the tables and the floor. Great little place to stop for a quick recharge! Great food, coffee, and service. Quick delivery of orders, and a nice place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. I ordered the lunch special greek salad with chicken, and had a special request regarding the sauce, and they were very polite and accommodating. I was quite pleased with the portion and price, as it came with a drink as well. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, so flavourful and filling. 100% recommend this place, loved every minute! ❤️
Alicia G — Google review
Had a work lunch here, and waited over 45 mins for our food, even with most of us ordering the express lunch. The risotto was delicious, and so was the halloumi burger. However, the fish was just OK, and all our chips were not cooked enough, nor seasoned. The salad also was not very good. I would recommend that if you're a big group to pre-order. The great thing is they split bills and the staff are friendly.
Io J — Google review
I wouldn't even consider this place a restaurant. Pouring today and hardly anyone is here but still had to wait over 30 minutes for fish and chips. Chips come burnt and taste horrible so I sent it back and got a new plate of chips to find that there are black spots all over the chips again. Asked the cook if it's seasoning or just burnt bits and he said it's NOT pepper and that he would get back to me but never did. Clear as day that they're cooking with filthy pans/fryers. The fish wasn't burnt but still had plenty of black bits on it. Basically paying standard price to wait half an hour to eat some cancer. The group on the table beside me left half an hour after we sat down as they had been waiting for the food since before we arrived and their food still hadn't come after our food arrived. I wish my food didn't come either as I'd have left on the 40 minute mark. Embarrassing establishment
Anthony L — Google review
My score of three stars is based on the overall experience. Not just the quality of the the food. Been here a couple times now and always we have had friendly and attentive service. So that’s a tick. The food has always been delicious tasting. That’s a tick too. Price if fairly reasonable given the location and that’s a tick. Two ticks for being pet friendly; though we didn’t bring our dog today always love a place that caters for our four legged fury babies. Things that made the score decrease: every visit the outdoor tables have always been sticky (not sure what cleaning product they use but skin, napkins, wallets etc are always sticking to the table top surface and it’s an awful feeling…I know they wipe their tables but perhaps they need to look at a different cleaning product). Rocky tables; maybe it was just our particular table but every time my partner took his elbow off the table my plate and cutlery almost went flying off it was that unstable. Finally: quality of the food: while it tasted yummy; my partner asked for eggs easy over and was served sunny side up instead and my ricotta pancakes were very chewy in texture and slightly too brown like as if they were precooked then back on a pan to rewarm them or maybe nuked in the microwave. Not sure what else would bring about that strange chewy texture. The cutlery we were given also didn’t cut very well. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience and we would still go back if we are in the area. The bathroom facilities were clean and well stocked too.
Hürrem A — Google review
Service was friendly but the food took a while to arrive. I had ordered a medium rare pan fried salmon but it was overcooked. Same as my friend scotch fillet, which overly cooked for a medium rare beef. I did try a bit, disappointing. The salmon was bland and very basic. No sauce, not even a lemon slice. I’d give the salmon 3 stars but beef def was 2 stars. The squid game is a salad and chips topped with fried squid. It’s your average salad, nothing special, 3 stars. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries. It was crispy and tasty, not overly greasy or salty, 4 stars. Ambiance was lovely. We sat outdoor on a sunny day, looking over Hyde Park.

Drop in for lunch today and used an 'Eat Club' voucher which offers a discount 'off the total bill'. Once seated, I was advised that with Eat Club, the drinks are not included in my discount. I double checked this as I didn't see any caveat on my voucher. The food was tasty, and the waitress was nice about the 'amended discount' but if they don't honour things fully - says a lot about a place. Eat Club diners be aware!

One cannot overlook the iconic Paddington Markets when discussing Sydney's top markets. Established in 1973, this not-for-profit market, operated by Paddington Uniting Church, showcases a wide array of homemade treasures crafted by local artisans. Every Saturday, visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and explore an assortment of handmade goods, fashion items from emerging designers, fresh produce, and unique finds.
My second time to this Paddy Market. I woll suggest you put aside 1 hour to enjoy browsing the shops. You can get fresh fruits and vegetables at the market segment. Do visit the Market City shopping centre for some more shopping.

Came here to compliment the food. If you are gluten free, must try a Hopper from Just Hopper stall. Husband decided to try something new and came back with a warm, aromatic and exciting Sri Lankan dish we’ve never had before. We learned a “Hopper” is a bowl-shaped pancakes, with egg and vegetable options), kottu roti (chopped roti mixed with meat or vegetables), and various curries like butter chicken and vegetable korma. Egg was hard cooked so it made for a relatively firm contrast to the flavorful chicken curry and dal combo (sorry if I’m using the wrong term for the vegetarian lentil). SO GOOD. We also got the Roman style pizza and that was fantastic too: light, crunchy and toppings tasted good (which is to say they were not just junky sausages and foam meatball). The sausage potato was so light and the ragu pizza was just right! Tip: Bring cash to support the produce farmers in keeping our prices down! Bustling market with lots of different, more curated assortment of offerings which made for more engaged browsing.

Cockle Bay Wharf, located in Darling Harbour, Sydney, is a popular dining destination with a variety of waterfront restaurants offering good lunch and happy hour deals. Visitors can enjoy tapas at Cafe del Mar or dine at other venues like Baia the Italian and Blackbird cafe. The area also features entertainment options such as Sydney's first floating cinema, Movin Boat.
Went for an afternoon walk along Darling Harbour and stopped by Cockle Bay Wharf. The little water fountain with the bird statues brought back so many memories, it’s definitely one of those spots that still feels like the old Sydney, before all the shiny new developments. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, with the sound of the water and people just taking it easy. It’s also surrounded by a bunch of dining spots, so whether you’re after a casual bite or something fancier, there’s plenty to choose from. Such a great area to walk through, day or night—always something to see, but never too hectic. Really glad this part of the city has kept some of its original charm.

We enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Baia overlooking Cockle Bay. The service was excellent. We enjoyed all our meals, the calamari was delicious the presentation of the scallops were amazing with the creamed corn. My husband had the Wagyu Rump cap with Red Wine Jus and he said this was the best steak he'd eaten in a long time. I had the Aged smoked lamb rack and this was so soft and tender. The servings were huge both entree and mains, that we couldn't fit in dessert. I'd recommend sharing an entree so then you can have a dessert too. I highly recommend Baia and would be returning for sure.

Chatswood Chase is a large shopping mall located in Chatswood, north of Sydney CBD. The centre was first opened in 1983 and is the largest mall of its kind in Chatswood. The mall features department stores such as JB Hi-Fi, Myer and David Jones, as well as specialty shops such as opticians and jewellery stores. Additionally, the shopping mall includes food courts and restaurants ranging from fast food chains to fine dining establishments.
Since the renovations started last year, I have lived with anticipation of the new eateries, stores & much opening up. I am not disappointed so far! From the markets & sushi places to butter boy cookies it's a great place to eat, drink & chill. Looking forward to seeing what else opens towards the end of this year! PS Losurdo is one of the best food markets ever!

Although it is currently under renovation, it is well organised and directions for the already upgraded areas are clearly marked. The renovated food hall is bright, spacious, and clean. There are many new street food type places from noodle stands to ice-crram places, which are all appetising and decorated with soft pastel colours which are very comforting to the senses. I would definitely return there when the whole complex is fully upgraded.
Sylvia L — Google review
A mid-sized shopping centre a several minute walk away from Chatswood Station. Its just reopening: starting with the lower ground stores (primarily groceries and the downstairs food court- with emphasis on east asian eats). Parking has remained quite similar: with 3 hours free parking. However, now there is valet parking taking up space near the top floor; and they're installing escalators to travel between levels.
Toy G — Google review
Please note the review is based on the shopping centre only reopened after 18 months of major renovations, some levels are still under construction hence the rating. I shall revise later once the centre is fully functional. I always like Chatswood Chase. First start visiting more than twenty years ago before it's first major expansion. The big bang created a lot more retail spaces and parking lot, brought in even more prestige brands to make it one of the high end go to on Northshore. Then a decade went by and the second big bang. The final picture is still not completed, but it is safe to say that in exchange for all the open spaces, now it's a more intimate experience with a much organised layout. I'd say it's a successful defragmentation of the last expansion for I found the corridors make more sense and easier to navigate. The new bathrooms are more spacious with better lighting and ventilation. Not too sure about ventilation in the food court for I didn't stop by. The shops are also modernised with improved lighting. It's certainly a fresh restart.
Nick Q — Google review
The new Chatswood Chase is (mostly) open. But I'm not sure why they bothered. No homeware stores except one lonely Wheel and Barrow - and I can't see them lasting long. The food hall is all Asian - which I don't mind, but there used to be KFC, kebabs and hamburgers for a bit of variety. The rest is wall to wall clothes stores. Did I mention that there is now less parking now that the best spots are valet parking? The underground parking is still an impossible maze. Yes, there is a David Jones and a Kmart - but Warringah Mall is far better. It's light and airy, the new Chatswood Chase is claustrophobic. Chatswood Chase used to be our go-to spot for a breakfast or mid-morning coffee. All our favourite food spots have gone. This was our first trip there for 12 months - and we won't be back.
Alan M — Google review
Was excited for the reopening, had high hopes and thought it might be like Chadstone but it’s not, the food court area is decent with a lot of choices centred mainly on Asian food. The aesthetics are odd in some places where some shops on the ground level have a dark vibe and the shop right next to it is bright & colourful so it doesn’t match. DJs is a total clutter and hard to find things as they moved from 3 levels to 2 and it shows. The second floor is much better being bright & spacious, if only the ground floor was like this. Not many shops open yet so can wait if you’re planning to visit.

A lot of cafes and restaurant with Asian and Western style. I tried the lobster roll at the Fisg & Co restaurant. The food was nice and quite reasonable price. Also there was amazon pick up locker, what a strategic place to pick up ur online order. At the ground floor, there was a supermarket that provide daily groceries. Recommended place👍🏽

The medical centre is great. Good facilities and welcoming staff at reception. I had a blood sample to give and the phlebotomist was thorough, caring and efficient with a reassuring style that was appreciated, particularly as I have difficult veins to draw a sample from. The sample collection was 10/10. Great job!

Cool place to hand out. The contrast between nice, sleek new apartment blocks and the rustic feel of historical industrial architecture is really nice to experience all around Sydney. We went to China Diner this time. Good experience, nice seating, good food. But there are lots of other options. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This use to be a very lively place a couple of years ago but other than the supercharger, I dont tend to come here much with most shop closed due to the low traffic volumes. The two breakfest places in front are still good.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Parramatta CBD, Westfield Parramatta is a shopping paradise that beckons both locals and visitors alike. As one of Australia's largest shopping centers, it boasts nearly 500 stores ranging from major retailers to unique independent fashion brands and chic designer boutiques. Beyond just shopping, you can pamper yourself at various beauty outlets including hair salons, massage spots, and nail bars.
We had such an amazing time at the Iron Man meet and greet at Parramatta Westfield on 21st April 2025! My 3-year-old daughter was absolutely thrilled to meet her superhero in real life – her face lit up the moment she saw Iron Man. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, and the whole experience was so well-organized. My husband and I were just as excited as our daughter – it truly felt like a fun family day out. The photo opportunity was fantastic, and we’ll definitely treasure the memories (and the pictures!). Big thanks to Westfield Parramatta for hosting such a wonderful event. We’re already looking forward to the next event!

Westfield Parramatta is one of the best shopping centres in Sydney, huge, modern, and packed with everything you could need in one place. The layout is easy to navigate, and the mix of stores is excellent, from high-end fashion to everyday essentials. The dining options are great too, there’s a wide variety of cafés, restaurants, and food court choices, whether you’re after a quick bite or a nice sit-down meal. The cinema is clean and comfortable, and the entertainment area makes it a great spot for families or weekend hangouts. Parking is usually easy to find, and public transport access couldn’t be better with Parramatta Station right next door. The centre also feels safe and well-maintained, with friendly staff and good crowd management even during busy periods. Overall: Westfield Parramatta is a top-tier shopping destination , vibrant, convenient, and always evolving. Highly recommended for a full day of shopping, dining, or just relaxing. 🛍️

Never ending escalator problem which is so inconvenient to go to the other end just to go up in 1 level. This particular escator as per photos below Woolworths has been like this for the last 3 months. I hope they will finally fix this.

Westfield Chatswood is a shopping mall located in the Sydney suburb of Chatswood. It is one of Westfield Group's largest and busiest malls, with over 230 stores. The mall has a wide range of retail outlets, including cafes, restaurants and department stores. In addition to its main shopping centre, Westfield Chatswood also includes the Westfield Edge complex, which features entertainment venues such as cinemas and amusement parks.

Chatswood Westfield is a great shopping destination with a wide variety of stores, from high-end brands to everyday essentials. The mall is clean, well-organized, and has plenty of dining options to suit different tastes. I especially appreciate the convenient location and easy access by public transport. Sometimes it gets quite crowded, especially on weekends, but overall it’s a great place to shop, eat, and relax.

I'm so glad to be staying near Westfield Chatswood! It's a wonderful shopping destination with a wide variety of retail stores, including many popular brands. There's also the Myer department store, supermarkets like Coles and Aldi, plus plenty of fast food outlets and restaurants to choose from. While the early closing hours (around 6:00 PM) are typical for Sydney, it does limit how much you can explore in one visit. I haven’t managed to cover all the levels yet because of this, but I’m definitely planning to return soon to see more. Check out the directory—there’s a lot to discover!

If you are looking for one stop shopping you must visit Westfield Chatswood. The mall is surrounded by many restaurants especially Asian dishes. You can park your car in the mall for 3 hours free parking.
Ronny G — Google review
Big shopping centre. Big carpark problems. Hard to find spot on a Saturday, the first sunny day after a week of rain. Expect driving in circles in horizontal and vertical planes. All to just grab some takeaway from food court aptly named "Hawker Lane". Need to have an express parking option, even if patrolled/manned. Cathay Pacific was exhibiting their new Aria seats but queues were long.
Nanga M — Google review
modern shopping centre with a great mix of fashion, electronics, supermarkets, and dining. 🛍️🍜 The mall is spacious, clean, and well-organized, with plenty of parking and easy access by train or bus. There’s also a cinema and a wide variety of Asian restaurants in the food court, making it a popular spot for both shopping and dining. A reliable destination for everything you need in one place.
Alberrich — Google review
Not only are some of the escalators not working, they have a bigger problem - there is a need to curb arrogant drivers who drive as if they freaking own the car parks. It’s accidents prone due to lack of surveillance of their security staffs. Otherwise, work with the council to have their parking rangers to issue infringement notices to drivers who turn into lanes that clearly had signs indicating no turning into lanes when so many care less drivers did on our many visits. They can exceed their KPIs at the carparks.

The shopping mall Castle Towers is one of the largest in the country and popular with locals and visitors alike. With over 112,000 square metres of retail space, it has a variety of trendy shops and restaurants as well as a food court and movie theater.
A large 4+ level shopping centre in Castle Hill connected to the metro station via Level 1 foodcourt, and the bus stop / Castle Hill mall via the two level 3 exits. Although there is lots of parking (6 levels)- the convenince of the metro makes it my preferred method of entering into Castle Towers. It contains a variety of supermarkets (mainly on level 1), food options (level 1 + 3 food courts, level 2 cafes, level 4 dining), entertainment (level 3) and boutique stores (level 1 + 2). It contains numerous lifts, ramps & escalators, making it wheelchair accessible. Enjoyed lunch at Mad Mex as well as browsing the offerings for Halloween. Would recommend coming by yourself, with friends and/or family!

Castle Towers is my favourite one stop shopping centre. It has multiple entrance and exit points which proves very convenient, especially for seniors. It hosts high end shops like David Jones and Meyers and more affordable shops like Kmart, Target, Reject shop etc. You can also find electronics shops like JBHIFI and Apple. Lots of restaurants like Paparich, An Viet, Al Aseel and Taste of Shanghai. Also, food stalls like Sushi Hub, Oporto, KFC, McDonald, and Mad Mex. Heaps of cafes like Starbucks, Flower Child, Stanton, the Mill, Girdlers etc. For your banking needs, there are NAB, ANZ, CommBank and Heritage Bank. There are also Telcos like Vodafone , Telstra and Optus; mobile repair shops like ZoomFones, Happytel, Fone King. For your medical needs, there is Chemist Warehouse in the basement near McDonald. This building has lots of wheelchair access points via travelators and/or lifts.

Great shopping centre in terms of the variety of stores available to shop at. Lots of food options. Parking is an issue- it fills up pretty quickly so better to shop during off peak hours ( weekdays around 10am) or before the school rush.
Candy P — Google review
Castle Towers has truly transformed since I was a kid. The thing that really sets it apart is the fact that the metro station is right inside the shopping centre. Honestly, that’s a game changer. It beats Macquarie Centre and Chatswood Chase, where you have to trek a fair way from the station. Having the metro at your door makes getting here so easy and stress free. The shopping selection is second to none. You’ve got all the favourites like RM Williams, County Road, and even Ralph Lauren (which opens in 2026). It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for a casual browse or a planned shopping trip. Plus, the dining options are top notch from cosy cafes serving breakfast and brunch to more relaxed dinner spots, there’s plenty of choice for the whole family. Speaking of families, the parent and child facilities are fantastic, I honestly think someone who’s a parent designed them! There are two fully equipped, modern parents’ rooms on every level, always spotless and close to lifts, which makes everything so much easier, especially when out with little ones. While I still like Chatswood Chase, the sheer convenience and variety of stores at Castle Towers make it my go to spot. Whether you’re after luxury brands or everyday essentials, this place has you covered. Here’s a quick rundown of the stores inside Castle Towers - Haigh’s Chocolate (perfect for sweet treats) - Peter Alexander (cozy pyjamas and loungewear) - JB Hi-Fi (all the gadgets and tech) - Apple Store (for all your latest devices) - Cinema (great for a family movie night) - Target (everything for the house and the kids) - Baby Bunting (instantly ticking the parent box) - Rebel Sport (for all your sporting gear) - A fantastic selection of luxury brands (Ralph Lauren, County Road, RM Williams and many more) It might have taken me a few visits to fully appreciate what Castle Towers offers, but now I can honestly say it ticks all the boxes for a family trip and best of all, you can get here without a car. Parking is available for those bigger shopping trips that need a 'family chariot,' though it can get quite busy during peak times but that’s pretty standard for any shopping centre. All in all, Castle Towers is conveniently located, utterly family friendly, stroller friendly, and packed with a brilliant mix of stores and restaurants. If you’re after hassle free shopping with a side of comfort and convenience, I’d recommend giving it a go. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent mall with quality shops, cinemas and good eating options. Palace Cinema located on the top floor and Fortress gaming across multiple floors. There is an Anita Gelato located by the entrance, Starbucks and the Hype store has awesome sneakers. There’s no parking at the centre and street parking can be difficult to find. Abercrombie Street is the best option when it’s not a clearway.

The shops are a bit sparse, not sure if this place is newly opened or not. The food court area looks great and they have a supermarket, cinema, and also a gaming centre. One of the shops on the ground floor has a very long queue. There's a back outdoor greenery area (same level as the supermarket) that has some restaurants.

I love this place. I go there every week but almost never to shop. I just like how multipurpose of a business facility it is, with GP and PT location, both regular food and sweet shops, massage/acupuncture store, hair cut store, nail salon, movie theater, as well as ample recreation outdoor space outside. Some of these are the lower basement level, which is partly outdoors. That area also has a bubble tea and sushi store, Woolies and Priceline Pharmacy. It is a really beautifully presented location with decorations and fairy lights both indoors and outdoors, and I still feel like I have not spent enough time there. A lot to look at while outside and it is a mere 15 minute walk from the Cleveland st business area in Surry Hills, which I also frequent.

Westfield Liverpool is Sydney's most popular shopping mall, boasting both global brands and local favorites. It features a food court, arcade, cinemas, and plenty of seating for shoppers. There are two drawbacks to the mall: the music is too loud and it can be crowded.
Westfield Liverpool is one of my favourite places to shop and relax. The 4-hour free parking is super convenient, and the different entrances to the car parks make it easy to access different parts of the centre. I especially like parking on the G level — it’s really handy for getting to Coles, the fresh food and lots of small restaurants. Always a pleasant experience coming here!

The centre itself is clean and well-maintained, though it can get very crowded on weekends, so parking sometimes takes a bit of patience. Overall, Westfield Liverpool is a good mix of shopping, dining, and services—it’s definitely a go-to spot for locals in the area.

Always a good and clean Westfield, since 1996. I have recently discovered a pop-up store for orthotic insoles. I was impressed after I read the booklet and decided to buy the work shoes and insoles. The price was dear but they are worth more than I bought them for. Having a permanent work spine injury, shoes bought from there are helping me with my everyday tasks. One of the main things I was unable to do was to walk long distances. Thankfully, I can stand and every day more since I bought them. It is a miracle that I didn't know it existed, for too many years. Highly recommended.

The shopping mall may not be as massive as Westfields, but it certainly offers a wide range of options to meet various needs. One of the standout features is having IKEA, a popular furniture and home decor store, attached to the mall. For grocery shopping, both Coles and Aldi supermarkets provides convenience and choice. The availability of Tong Li, an Asian market, adds to the diversity of shopping options, catering to a variety of cultural preferences. A notable aspect of the mall is the ample dining selection. Whether you prefer a quick bite at the food court or a sit-down meal at one of the restaurants, there's something for everyone. The notorious Yum Cha restaurant is located on the top level! Reading Cinemas further enhances the entertainment options available at the mall. It's a great place to catch the latest movies with friends and family. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that took place today, Saturday, 9 August 2025, at your shopping centre, related to the Justice of the Peace (JP) service and the behavior of your security staff. According to your official website, the JP service is available every Saturday from 9am to 12pm. Based on this information, I visited your centre specifically for this service. When I arrived, there were several people already waiting, along with tables set up and a sign indicating the JP post. After a few minutes, two security guards came over, removed the tables and JP signage, and told us to check the schedule — all while displaying a rude and dismissive attitude. One customer mentioned she had checked the information earlier that morning, and I explained that I had done the same the day before. To clarify the situation, I opened your website again and showed the listed time: "9am to 12pm every Saturday." In response, one of the security guards said to me, “IF YOU DONT KNOW TECHNOLOGY I CAN SHOW YOU in a condescending and disrespectful tone. WHAT??? He then proceeded to show me a completely different page that said the service is available only on every second Saturday — which contradicts the page I and others had accessed. This situation was both embarrassing and frustrating. Not only was the information on your website clearly misleading, but the conduct of the security guard was also rude, discriminatory, and unprofessional. I am requesting: A formal apology regarding the conduct of the security guard. I’ve asked his name but he refused to respond. A review and update of your website to ensure accurate, clear, and consistent information about JP services. Confirmation that your staff are trained to treat all customers with respect and professionalism, regardless of background or technological skills even though I’m good enough to use google.

Additionally, the store carries household items, health and beauty products, pet supplies, and more. Cheap price for the goods. This supermarket has three floors. On the first floor, there are some good quality vitamins available at a low price. The refrigerated products are located in the basement, where you can find a wide selection of cheese, milk, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Many items are sold at discounted prices, making it enjoyable to shop there. Although the store is not very large, it stays open until midnight, which is a great advantage—especially in Australia, where supermarkets typically close quite early compared to my country. There are many self-checkout machines, and you can pay with cash, card, or reward points. One important thing to remember is to bring your own plastic bag or reusable bag to carry your groceries back to your hotel. Otherwise, you will have to pay for a bag at checkout.

A quite large Woolworths which has complete and abundant of stocks from the fresh and Frozen vegetables , fruits and any kind of meat/chicken/seafood/frozen food/pizza/bread /canned food such as tuna, beans, etc. There are also sushi section that you can see the sushi kitchen staffs preparing the fresh handmade sushi on the spot. Also the hot food section which always been prepared freshly every day.Everything I can find at here easily include the Macadamia chocolate.

An excellent multi level grocery and home goods store. It has access to the subway in the basement and is across from the light rail. Excellent choice for food and snacks for tourists who don't want to be gouged. It is busy though, so if you don't do crowds well consider visiting at off peak hours.

Zero stars if possible. Said “excuse me” politely at self service so I could get to the next available register. Lady was talking to a customer and I asked kindly several times and she was like “you have to wait until I finish talking” very passively aggressive. Dude, I’m not waiting forever when there is clearly an available register if you shifted to the side and you weren’t even talking to me, why the heck do I need to wait until you finish talking to another customer. Like talk or interrogate him all you want but when I ask you to move over kindly so I can walk past to pay for my own things. Don’t give me that attitude. Why are you pissed when others asked kindly. This company earns plenty of money per year and yet they can’t even train their workers. If u r pissed with the company, don’t put it out on customers. We don’t organise your rosters. I chose self service register for a reason, not to get the same service I get from the same team with horrible attitude.

I had a very unpleasant experience at the self-checkout today with a staff member named Praneeta. While I was scanning my items, she kept interfering even after I told her multiple times that I was okay. When the machine showed a red signal again, her co-worker was about to assist me, but Parineeta told her in Hindi, “don’t go, she is mad,” not realising that I understood the language. This was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Despite saying that, she later came herself and continued to interfere with my shopping. When the machine froze and I moved to another checkout, she stopped me and made me wait unnecessarily. She then selected the payment option on my behalf while I was still searching for my rewards card, which made me feel very uncomfortable. This behaviour was rude, intrusive, and unacceptable. Staff should treat customers respectfully and allow them to complete their shopping without being spoken about negatively or having their payment process controlled without permission. Her tone and way of talking was also so rude. I hope management addresses this issue.

Great place to stop for a quick bite. I picked up a sandwich and a mud cake and also the Tasmanian mint Kit Kats. The place is really busy and people are running about, but there are a ton of checkout lanes
Lawrence T — Google review
I used to shop here after work if I needed ingredients for preparing dinner etc. I went to use self serve on the lower ground floor and scanned my items. The terminal wanted a signature for card payment. I've never been asked for this before so I asked for help. The self checkout wrangler snapped at me that it was required. I asked since when and was told I had to provide my signature. Uncomfortable with this and halving been given no accurate details about what this was now a requirement, I put my groceries back on the scanner bench for the self checkout goblin to deal with. I'll never shop here again and look forward to the day the store is demolished to make way for more green space.

Myer, a well-established department store in Australia, has been a household name for many years. Founded by Sidney Myer and his brother Elcon in 1900, it offers a wide range of upmarket fashion for men, women, and kids. The company has also embraced online shopping to cater to the evolving needs of its customers. Visitors have praised the store's elegant displays and friendly staff members like Helen and Patricia who provide excellent customer service.
If you ever find yourself at a Myer store and need to shop for skincare, go find Helen at the Aesop counter — she’s absolutely wonderful. She gave me honest, thoughtful advice and really took the time to understand my skin. We tried a few different products together, and I finally chose two: ✨ A serum from Jurlique ✨ The Parsley Seed Antioxidant from Aesop It’s only been a few days, but my skin already feels amazing. I couldn’t be happier with her recommendations. Kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful — Helen made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.

This establishment is a haven for a plus-sized person like me living in Southeast Asia. Great selection at the Johnny Bigg section and at the shoes section. Special mention to the Indonesian gentleman working the Clarks/Hush Puppies men's shoes section for attending to every enquiry attentively in spite of the Saturday morning crowd.

Stephanie from the Mecca section was amazing, got me exactly what I needed: some foundation, eyeliner and contour. She helped me colour match foundation which I was never able to do myself, and was extremely easy to talk to. Have had no problems with the products. Amazing customer service, will definitely come again!

Went on the hunt for a new perfume in Myer yesterday and by far the best customer service was from Sarah at Goldfield + Banks. She knew everything about each scent and made perfect recommendations, and was super friendly without being at all pushy. Thanks for my lovely new perfume : )

I’d gladly give 5 stars for one particular young lady who showed, good, old fashioned service, but overall the customer service was appalling. I entered the store from Pitt St, Ground level. I slowly browsed through 5-6 different makeup and perfume areas, yet not 1 assistant offered me help or even a greeting. I then wandered over to near the George St exit , where there were at least 5 female employees standing in a line along the fragrance wall, not 1 of them acknowledged me. I walked up to a young Asian girl (17-19 years old) and asked her where Creed Aventus was located, she pointed over the top of a fixture and said “there”, she then slightly turned way from me giving me the impression she didn’t want to serve me at all I walked over to the Creed cologne area, there were 3 female assistants talking. 2 kept talking and totally ignored me, the other lady excused herself from the conversation to assist me. This young lady was absolutely lovely. I was so impressed that not only did she serve me, but she went above and beyond. Of the 15 - 16 shop assistants I saw, only one seemed to want to be there. Fiona spent at least 10-15 minutes with me and showed me 4 different Creed colognes. She sprayed them on a card, and wrote their names and price on each card. I was so impressed, I asked her name and commended her on her outstanding customer service skills. In a time when retailers are closing stores across Australia, you’d think these assistants would be eager to provide the type of service Fiona did to ensure return customers and continued business. I guess some feel being the CBD store, their jobs are safe. Next time I go to buy cologne or perfume in this store, I’ll ask for Fiona the Irish girl, because today she made me feel like I mattered. An absolutely wonderful young lady who went above and beyond to show me the Creed selection.

I went to Myers in Westfield Sydney City. I had 4 people in the shoe department tell me they could not help me with purchasing a pair of Dr Martens. One staff member tried to point me in the right direction and I was told by those staff they couldn't help as it wasn't their area. I could not find the person that was meant to be looking after that area. The lady who initially tried to help went and asked someone and was able to help which I was very thankful for. To those staff who just dismissed me I am very disappointed. Disgusting customer service for a store like Myers. I have always been happy with the service received but today except for one lady who went out of her way when other people wouldn't help.

Located in North Sydney, Greenwood Plaza is a one-stop-shop for locals and visitors. It offers an array of shops and services for the enthusiastic shopper, including fashion & homewares stores, restaurants and a grocery store. The mall is easy to access by bus or train, making it ideal for shopping on the go.
Tucked away below the business district in North Sydney with pedestrian accesses via stairs, escalators and elevators (although if you are not familiar with the area the elevators are a bit hard to find) which provides easy access for all. There is paid underground car parking for those that wish to drive (although it will get expensive if you stay a while) and a variety of buses stop very close by. There are some great shops in this underground mall. There is a good variety of eateries at reasonable prices. Also, a well stocked Supermarket and Greengrocer, and a variety of food and retail stores providing something for everyone in a convenient location. The common areas are well maintained and kept clean. The plaza provides a thoroughfare between the North Sydney train station and the North Sydney business district which makes transit very easy and enables a high flow of people not only too and from work, but access from North Sydney to/from the city. This also provides convenience for those passing though to grab essentials/food/gifts/etc whilst passing through and then continue on with their journey.

Management needs to make sure there are functional information boards on the ground floor. There are plenty of working screens for advertising but both street level information screens are blank. It’s very annoying when you’re trying to pop in to get a key cut in a lunch break.
Jacqueline P — Google review
Absolutely dead shopping centre. Your retailers are leaving in droves and you’re just filling empty spaces with free hair styling salons, a games room and chill out area. Your rents are too high and it’s killing small businesses. Also your centre has no foot traffic for businesses to make a profit since covid and the metro opening. Nothing opens at this centre on weekends. Also the toilets upstairs need to be cleaned and restocked more frequently. Greenwood Plaza centre needs to open longer during week and allow businesses to open sundays and public holidays like every other centre.

I went in today to exchange the size of a gift I received from a friend, and Kikini (i hope i spell your name right x) was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process! The size I wanted wasn’t available in-store, so she checked online for me, and when it also showed as unavailable, she even called the Myer store to double-check. We eventually came up with a great solution that I would receive a refund back to a gift card, and she offered to put the dress on hold for me once it’s back in stock and give me a call. Her customer service was amazing, and I really appreciated how she went above and beyond to help me find a solution! She was also so friendly, bubbly and omg a true asset of dj !!

Extremely disappointing experience with David Jones Elizabeth Street store and Customer Care. I dropped off my coffee machine for repair nearly three weeks ago as instructed by customer service, and it’s still sitting there with zero progress. No updates, no calls, no accountability — even after Customer Care said the case was “escalated” (Case #93899461). When I first contacted customer service, I clearly explained that my coffee machine was one year out of warranty but had completely stopped working. Since it’s worth over AUD 3,000, I believed they would assist me in contacting the manufacturer for repair. The customer service team specifically asked me to bring it to the store, which I did. Then, after my coffee machine had been sitting in the store for two weeks, I received a call saying that because it was out of warranty, I should pick it up and contact the manufacturer myself. How does that make any sense? Shouldn’t they have told me that at the very beginning, instead of wasting weeks of my time and additional transport costs (I even had to take a taxi to bring it in)? Is this what David Jones calls a professional service process? I honestly find it shocking. I’ve followed up multiple times, both in person and by email, but it feels like nobody cares. This whole process has been a complete waste of time, money, and energy. As a long-time loyal customer, I’m shocked by how careless and unresponsive the service has become. I honestly can’t believe a premium brand like David Jones treats its customers this way.
Wen L — Google review
The ladies at the Chanel counter were nothing but kind and helpful, upstairs in the clothing department was a different story. Every sales assistant ignored me, the two 'assistants' in the Zimmermann area were nothing but rude, especially the older woman with short blonde hair. She made me feel like I was smaller than dirt under her shoe. I wanted to buy something nice that made me feel confident and beautiful. Instead I left David Jones feeling small, ugly and inferior. No one deserves to feel like that. Do better. You're not in High School any more 'ladies'. Acting like a mean girl is not acceptable.

Located in the heart of Alexandria, Mitchell Road Antique & Design Centre is a sprawling warehouse filled with over seventy different dealers offering a wide array of vintage and retro items. From antique furniture, artwork, and jewelry to cameras and home decor, this graffiti-clad emporium is a treasure trove for collectors and enthusiasts. The 2,300 square meter space exudes urban grunge and character, attracting hobbyists, stylists, and vintage aficionados alike.
I've been to a couple antique Warehouses around Sydney and this one a long side lunatics is the best places to visit for gem hunts. You can find retro toys, old world porcelain and numerous art poster prints alongside vintage clothing for a fair price. There is a section for books and century old leatherbacks shattered around each individual stores, I found some out of prints for a decent price. I would advise those with dust or sensitivity to mould before entering.

Miss those days when there were much more exciting stores located in this shopping arcade. While it may not have as extensive offerings as suburban stores, it provides basic food and amenities for those on holiday. The store features self-serve checkouts and offers Coles membership cards that can be registered with Flybuys.
I'm a regular shopper at Coles and I'm always satisfied with their service. The store is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. I can get a free fruit to bring home for my kids(Thanks,Coles!) Date night plot twist: Turns out I don’t need Netflix, I can get a live thriller at George St Coles. Shopped here on the 26th of May at around 8 PM and was accused of theft without cause. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour by the staff. Avoid this location at all costs—or at the very least, MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR RECEIPT to avoid unjust treatment. While still inside the store and nowhere near the exit, I was suddenly approached and surrounded by four staff members, who accused me of stealing. I was told to wait near the checkout for security to arrive, with no clear explanation as to what I had supposedly done wrong. I remained calm and cooperative despite the deeply embarrassing and offensive nature of the situation. I was treated like a criminal, yet I hadn’t even completed my transaction or left the store. The accusation seemed completely baseless and premature. Thankfully, my partner, a law major, arrived shortly after and helped de-escalate the situation. She informed staff that to detain someone, there must be probable cause, which was clearly lacking in this case. The staff admitted they merely thought I was about to steal—not that I actually had. Security never showed (10/10 for dramatic tension, 0/10 for follow-through). Eventually I was released from my cardboard-box purgatory, paid for my groceries, and clutched the receipt like it was Willy Wonka’s golden ticket. I left feeling confused, humiliated, and a tad bitter (and not just because I’d bought rocket). This wasn’t “loss prevention”—it was “loss of common sense.” IGN Review: 2/10 – “Stealth mission failed before it even started. NPCs overly aggressive. Would not replay.” TL;DR: • Accused of grand larceny before I even hit the scanner. • Detained without cause; law-savvy partner saves the day. • Security pulled a no-show. • Receipt now lives in a safety deposit box. Big shout-out to my brilliant partner and the invisible security team who clearly had better things to do. Avoid this Coles if you value dignity—or at least keep every receipt like it’s a rare Pokémon card.

And can you answer me for a moment, sis? I'll find another staff because I don't understand! Why are you asking the customer to find someone else? Do you think we work there? That's your job! TODAY I bought an orange juice and the machine was stuck. A young, thin man with glasses passed by at 4:30 pm. I asked for help to move the orange to the middle of the machine because I'm not tall. He quickly responded, "Just call someone else. That's not my job." WHAT? Finally, I looked for someone else on my own. There was a woman who finally wanted to help even though it was also... NOT HER JOB! But she wanted to HELP ME. LOOK FOR EMPLOYEES WHO COOPERATE WELL/SERVE CUSTOMERS. DON'T LOOK FOR EMPLOYEES WHO JUST WANT TO WORK BUT HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE TO SERVING CUSTOMERS. That's truly bad behavior.

Darling Quarter is a lively entertainment and leisure hub in Sydney, offering a variety of attractions for both kids and adults. The area boasts a vibrant atmosphere with a children's playground, theater, village green, and dining options. Unlike the industrial feel of Circular Quay, Darling Harbour provides a more pleasant environment with numerous bars and restaurants along the waterfront. Additionally, visitors can explore the Australian National Maritime Museum and Sea Life Aquarium in the vicinity.
Darling Quarter – The Ultimate Family-Friendly Destination! Darling Quarter is hands down one of the best spots in Sydney for families, food lovers, and anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out. For families with kids, this place is a dream! The water play area and playground are fantastic, keeping little ones entertained for hours. There’s plenty of space to run around, climb, and splash, making it the perfect spot for a fun-filled afternoon. If you visit on a Saturday night, don’t miss the 9 PM fireworks! Watching the sky light up over Darling Harbour is a magical experience, and the best part is—it’s completely free! With its beautiful waterfront views, vibrant atmosphere, and so much to do, Darling Quarter is a must-visit in Sydney. Best playground we've ever been to! So many different activities for the kids to do. It's so large it doesn't ever feel crowded. Large splash pad and sprinklers as well as an in ground water system with dams and levers etc.

DQ has plenty of great restaurants and spaces to sit and relax. Such a beautiful space yet so close to the CBD. They also hold plenty of events throughout the year - the open air cinema in January is fantastic for all ages - and free! Plenty of good facilities for the kids too! Definitely a must visit for locals and tourists alike.

A playground suitable for all ages. There’s water and sensory play. Slides for toddlers, bigger kids and zip lines. It’s accessible by public transport or by car you can park for $20 all day. Lots of eateries near by and of course the infamous Harry cafe de wheels! My favourite place to eat delicious pies and hot dogs! On weekends, the park draws in children and it can be extremely busy. There’s enough space for everyone to move around and take turns on the play equipment. The only let down is that being a very busy public space, there should be signs of contact numbers to call or rangers nearby to provide assistance to any injured children.

ALDI is a popular retail chain offering a wide range of grocery items, including meat and dairy products. Customers appreciate the affordable prices, generous portion sizes, and cost-effective fruits and vegetables. The store's simple yet modern design provides an aesthetically pleasing and practical shopping experience. With a logical layout and easily accessible items, it offers both affordability and quality. Customers also praise the efficient staff and look forward to the legendary Saturday sales.
Love ALDI and I'm giving this one a 5 star because for as busy as this location is (and it is very busy due to location being Broadway) they do a good job of keeping things fairly well stocked considering how busy they are. Keep that in mind if you're keen on a middle aisle item grab it when you see it because it will not last at this location if it's a hot item.

Got to be here to find chocholate but the stock and variety was limited. Not many discount prices I got that time. Compared to closest supermarket in the same building, Aldi is realtively small. The cashier was friendly.

I'm very sad. I live in Hungary and usually shop at Aldi there. Today, we decided to visit the Aldi at Broadway Shopping Centre. We bought some dental floss. At the self-checkout, the hostess asked to check our bags, as if we might have stolen something. I find this outrageous.

Gucci - Sydney, Westfield is a luxurious store offering modern, Italian-crafted leather goods, apparel, and accessories for both men and women. The store provides excellent service with the option to make appointments through their website. Customers have praised the welcoming staff and personalized attention from sales associates like Pattarin and Amanda. The spacious layout of the store allows for a comfortable shopping experience with various sections showcasing different Gucci products.
Gorgeous store and great service. I made an appointment via the Gucci website to view a bag I was keen on. The same day as my appointment I received a confirmation email by sales associate Pattarin advising the bag I was interested in was placed on hold for me - perfect! The store staff were very welcoming and Pattarin offered such lovely service it made the experience super special. Pattarin showed me a few different bags similar to the colour I wanted and eventually I landed on the bag I was keen on. I walked out feeling pretty awesome with a super cute bag. Oh and, as it was drizzling weather, the packaging was protected by a ‘raincoat’ how cute is that! Thanks Gucci 😙

So I have been purchasing a lot of Gucci items over the past couple of months and I was looked after by Bee Or Bree (The Beautiful tall Thai lady) she was very nice and elegant and did not at all push me to buy anything. We had a lovely conversation and she was quite entertaining. I was also looked after by Julia the thing that I really liked about Julia is that I first purchased a wallet from her and after long months I went in to buy a pouch and she remembered exactly what I said to her word for word no Caps. I was mesmerized by her sharp memory and she was very professional as well. I loved her feisty mixed with elegant personality. Something I can totally relate to as a fellow client advisor myself. I was later also served by Ricardo who was professional as well. In the end had wonderful experience in the store. I will come by to buy some fragrances. Trying to stay away from bags now 😮‍💨.

I love Gucci - my fave designer brand! Have been to the Sydney flagship store a few times now to buy a few different things, and have always had the best customer service experience. Most recently June has been been assisting me and she has been such a delight. So friendly, helpful and goes above and beyond to make the customer experience as wonderful as it can be. Thank you June and the Gucci team!

We didn't get anything from Gucci, so this comment will address only the walk in retail experience, and the service we got as a walk in, like the many other people in front and behind us. This store here at Westfield is probably one of the largest around. I was honestly quite surprised that they've compartmentalized sections after sections of Gucci products, and you'd not have expected that without walking in. Each section has its own vibes as well; outstanding. They attach retail assistants to you upon you walking in, which is also why there's typically a queue forming outside of the store. That way, they supposedly maintain the quality of the retail experience, and you have someone helping you if you needed anything throughout the entire shopping duration. Of course, it can seemingly be pressurizing as well, especially if you're just window shopping like we were. Having someone follow you around is definitely not fun; yet you also don't want people to just be walking around your store without buying anything. Fine balance that Gucci will need to draw, and something that some other brands here at Westfield have mastered better than our experience at Gucci.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Gucci store in Sydney, and I must say, it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the elegant glass doors, and welcomed by Javier. I was enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury and sophistication that is quintessentially Gucci. One of the highlights of my visit was the impeccable service I received, particularly from a remarkable sales associate named Amanda. Her warm and welcoming demeanor instantly put me at ease, making me feel like a valued customer. Amanda's extensive knowledge about the brand's history, craftsmanship, and latest collections truly impressed me. She guided me through the store with enthusiasm, providing insights into the intricate details that make Gucci products so special. Amanda's attention to detail and her ability to understand my preferences helped streamline my shopping experience. Her suggestions were spot-on, and her willingness to go the extra mile to ensure I found the perfect item was truly remarkable. It's not every day that you encounter a salesperson who is genuinely passionate about the products they're selling and committed to making your visit memorable. The store itself is a masterpiece of design, featuring a tasteful blend of modern aesthetics and classic elegance. The way the products are displayed allows for easy browsing while highlighting the craftsmanship and artistic vision that define Gucci. The store's layout creates an inviting ambiance, making it a joy to explore the various sections and immerse oneself in the world of luxury fashion. The selection of products at the Gucci store in Sydney is nothing short of extraordinary. From the iconic handbags to the exquisite clothing, each piece exudes the brand's signature style and attention to detail. The range of options available ensures that there's something for everyone, whether you're looking for a statement piece or a timeless classic. In conclusion, my visit to the Gucci store in Sydney was an unforgettable experience, and much of the credit goes to Amanda and her exceptional service. Her dedication, knowledge, and genuine passion for the brand truly set her apart. The store itself is a testament to Gucci's commitment to excellence and innovation. If you're seeking a shopping experience that combines luxury, style, and exceptional service, the Gucci store in Sydney, with Amanda's assistance, is an absolute must-visit.

By far the most rude and arrogant pharmacy staff I have ever had the privilege of meeting. I was advised by the pharmacy staff that whatever my GP of 30 yrs was advising me to do was incorrect and somehow they knew better (not knowing my overall medical condition). Stick to running scripts and leave the real diagnosis to the medically trained. A crash course in customer service wouldn't hurt either. Do not recommend bringing your business to this place.
Sam T — Google review
I came in seeking to purchase a medication, but the pharmacist here by the name of "Abdul" was shockingly rude and unprofessional. He refused to ask about my symptoms or condition, and kept repeating "You need to satisfy the criteria", and then proceeds to shut down my partner with, “No, I will not tell you the criteria,” when she politely asked for clarification while also adding that this medication was available over the counter at another chemist warehouse. A pharmacist’s role is to ensure patient care and safety - instead I was faced with arrogant and dismissive behaviour which clearly showed a lack of care and regard for customers.
Armaan K — Google review
Worst customer experience I had. I did a click and collect. Previously I would just stand in the counter marked "click and collect, fast delivery" as cbd usually have large lines. The guy was quite unfriendly and asked me to stand in line. Whats the point of click and collect if one has to stand in line. And there is a dedicated counter for it where there was no one. One might as well shop in store. The guy of asian descent was quite agressive. Wouldnt come here again.
Gaurav S — Google review
I agree with all the comments that this place has the most unprofessional security guard I've seen! I generally don't mind it if security guards want to check my bag. I understand shoplifters exist and the store needs to keep its stock safe. But the manner in which this security guard checked my bag was appalling. After I comfortably obliged and opened my bag for him to check, he continued to stare into the abyss of my bag and asking me to move each item one by one. I felt as though I was being treated like a thief. Please be respectful to your customers Chemist Warehouse 🙏

On May 6th around 4:30 PM, I was at this store when my phone completely ran out of battery, and I couldn’t book a ride home. A male staff member — who looked to be working at the front entrance in a door/security role — noticed I was in trouble and helped me without hesitation. He kindly offered a charger and even assisted with buying a power bank and cable when I wasn’t able to pay at the time. I offered to repay him, but he told me not to worry and to just get home safely. His kindness genuinely touched me. I hope the store is able to acknowledge him — staff like that truly make a difference.

We've been a regular customer to this store for the last 5years. There is a new team that manages the store and they have the worst customer service. No one is helpful and has no idea what sizes are available. We had to find our sizes and show the sales girls. They dont seem to have any clue on what to do and randomly walks around the store appearing busy. This team needs to be replaced.

Sorry to say that the selection of shoes is not great and the prices are way off for an outlet store. Effectively they charge full price, and even more than say JD sports or footlocker, except for a small selection of open box sale shoes at the back. Absolutely not worth coming here just for the store I'm afraid.

Brilliant & fast experience! I zipped in desperately needing a script filled quickly (to smash a throat infection plus flu “combo”) & the excellent young woman Pharmacist (who was also doing other work at the same time) helped me quickly & also gave me option of less expensive “no brand” (which of course I grabbed). Front counter staff were great too. This is a very good place - because of its staff. Thanks so much everyone 🙏👏🏼👍🏼🤩✅✅✅

The pharmacist asked for photo ID and Medicare card but was not satisfied in being a pharmacist and kept telling me what the law requires for interstate drivers. When challenged on relevance, she claims it’s because she knows what she’s doing (the inference is obvious, yes). So everyone should come here to fill their scripts because it comes with free and unqualified legal advice.

I came here in emergency cause i suspected a high sugar blood level, about to pass out I ask to an old man in the prescription zone to do a quick sugar blood test and he answered meanly that they don’t do it and proposed zero help to me, even tho it was written on the website that they provide free tests. Sir I don’t see the interest to work in health service if you have zero compassion towards customers. I would almost prefer to pass out in front of your desk to let you explain to your co-workers what you (didn’t) do

Unfortunately, Mr. Amir isn't friendly at all. He takes the prescription from everyone waiting in line, and then everyone has to wait until he's finished making it, instead of serving customers one by one. Friendliness and good advice aren't his strong points either.

Edit: 1* Not sure what happened. Did the owner or the management change? Staff is still nice. However, the store looks abandoned in terms of stock and cleanliness. I can understand if items are not available but the store is very dirty. The floor has stains of products such as make up and nail polish, used tissues where products should be, prices for sale offers not updated, smudgy/dirty testers and not many things available in general. Avoid if possible. There is another one on George St or Castlereagh St I've been coming to this priceline since years and never had anything negative to say. Reading other reviews regarding one particular cashier lady upsets me. Some people seem to be ignorant. She might not be a social butterfly but she does her job right. Greets customers, asks for the priceline card, asks if you need a bag and takes your money. I wonder why people think they are entitled to someone's smile. I wish people could look past their expectations and instead appreciate someone's work for what it is.

I went to this pharmacist like usual to get my medication, which costed $89 per script. Never once in my life had the pharmacist walking me to the counter to pay. I felt like she thought I would run away with the medicine. This was a repeat script and they had me in the system.

Supermarket
Tong Li Supermarket in Chinatown, Sydney comes highly recommended by many Chinese locals. The store is deceptively spacious and offers a diverse range of Asian products from various cultures including Japanese, Thai, Malaysian, Taiwanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese. While it may not have an extensive selection of each item, it compensates with a wide variety of products.
This place is deceptively big, stocks a variety of everything. It doesn't have the greatest range of each type of thing but it has a very varied range of everything, if that makes sense. Every Asian culture has something here. Japanese, Thai, malaysian, taiwanese, Chinese, Vietnamese something, whatever. It might not have exactly what you are looking for but it might have other random things for you. Like, only a few bottled milk coffees and brewed coffees but also water chestnut drink. Not much instant coffee but there is durian instant coffee. Simple, nothing extravagant, reasonably cheap, but interesting and open reasonably late hours.
Paul N — Google review
Great selection of Asian supplies. I find them to be on the fairer side of pricing. You can definitely find most of the stuff you'll need here such as oyster sauce and stuff. However, if you're after specific or harder to find sauces, you might need to go to a bigger branch or other Asian stores. Otherwise, this branch will suffice.
Erick T — Google review
Very popular Asian glossary store near Chinatown in Sydney. They are many branches in Sydney. The store is about 5-10mins walk from central station. Face to paddy’s market and the old library building of University of technology Sydney. If you can find woollies and you will find it.
Jannette W — Google review
Super duper huge selection of Asian products. The snacks selection range from biscuits, soft cakes, chips, cookies, candies to confectioneries. They also have plenty selection of instant food (cup noodles, instant curry, ready-mix sauces). Another gigantic section is the bottled sauces section - you can find sauces from various Asian countries - China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, and others. For those who just moved in to Sydney, you can find household items such as hangers and detergents. Cooking utensils options ranging from pots and pans to dimsum steamer and BBQ charcoals. Tong Li Supermarket also has the fresh veggies and fruits sections - small but decent. Medicine sold also quite varied, mostly are famous medicine from Asian countries (pei pa koa cough syrup, salonpas, etc.) Both Debit Card and Credit Card are accepted for payment.

Had unpleasant shopping experience today. The scanned price in the cashier didn’t match with the price tag. And the cashier girl didn’t want to check (or even ask other staff to check)and believed the customer have picked the wrong product. So I have to left the counter and checked by myself. After I talked to another staff in the shop, he suddenly realised the discount has expired and just simply remove the price tag. No one care about the customer in the whole process. It was super disappointed. Anyone go to this shop should carefully check the recipe in case misleading by the invalid price tag.

The well-organized shop features a range of products including plushies, knick-knacks, candles, key rings, tea sets, and more. Customers praise the store for its long opening hours and top-quality service. Visitors appreciate the enthusiastic staff who provide excellent customer service and carefully pack purchases.
I came recently looking specifically for chasing scents perfumes which i highly recommend getting your hands on. It’s an australian asian owned business, the owner has a chemistry phd i believe and she makes beautiful scents. The service was great as well super accomodating and helpful. There’s a variety of products from small businesses so it’s perfect for a more niche personalised gift!!

I was shopping here on Tuesday night 18/03 during closing and I want to say the sales lady, I think her name is Fiona is soooo lovely. The store was closing but she still allowed us to browse around. She was very nice and kind and I hope her hard work gets noticed. Definitely will be back because of her customer service also EVERYTHING in the store is soooo cute! 🥰

A very cute gift store that reminds me a bit of Morning Glory, with small plushies and Knick knacks. The gifts here are relatively expensive but very cute! There is a good range of different products, from candles to key rings, to tea and cups, and others. It’s a well organised store and seems to have long opening hours on some days!

Cute little gift store in Zetland. I really like their candles and cute toy selection. Good decorations for Christmas and great gifts to choose from. Highly recommend.

Amazing customer service and lovely staff 😭 I ordered Saturday night over the Easter weekend and my order was ready 10 minutes after they opened on the Monday as they closed for the holiday on Sunday. The man and woman working the store were absolutely amazing and so fast and lovely with accomodating me for my online click and collect order and the man even had the smallest little doggie in his jumper pocket I fell in love 🥲 a tad pricey as it’s offical Sanrio merchandise but amazing 10/10 quality and you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend going to check out for cute items + store smells amazing with all the incense and candles burning :))
