The Sydney Opera House is an iconic arts center located on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, offering breathtaking views of the harbor, bridge, and city skyline. With over 1,600 performances annually, it hosts a diverse range of events including opera, theatre, music, dance, and comedy shows. This architectural marvel is a must-see attraction that draws millions of visitors each year. Its unique design and cultural significance make it a standout feature of the picturesque Sydney Harbour.
The Sydney Opera House is truly one of the world’s most iconic landmarks and an unforgettable place to visit. From the moment you arrive at Circular Quay and catch sight of its unique sail-shaped design, you feel a sense of awe and admiration. The architecture is absolutely stunning, blending modern creativity with timeless elegance. It is not only a symbol of Sydney but also a masterpiece that represents Australia to the world. Visiting the Opera House offers much more than just admiring its exterior. Inside, the atmosphere is equally impressive, with beautifully designed concert halls and theatres that provide excellent acoustics and world-class performances. Whether it is a symphony, ballet, opera, or theatre production, every show staged here feels special because of the venue’s ambience. The quality of performances is always outstanding, leaving the audience inspired and entertained. The location of the Opera House makes the experience even more memorable. Surrounded by the sparkling waters of Sydney Harbour, it offers breathtaking views, especially at sunset when the building glows against the skyline. Walking around the Opera House, you can also enjoy the Royal Botanic Gardens nearby or take in the lively atmosphere of Circular Quay. What makes the Sydney Opera House even more appealing is that it welcomes everyone. You don’t have to attend a performance to appreciate it—you can simply tour the building, enjoy its cafes, or relax by the harbour. It is a must-visit attraction that perfectly combines art, culture, and natural beauty.

Booked the tour and dining experience for $81 weeks in advance. Tour started and ended on time with a group of around 20. Headsets were provided so that everyone can hear the live tour guide. They will ask you to check in any medium or large sizes bags or backpacks, but it's easy and free. Tour involved some easy, short walks and steps, but anyone can manage. Very informative and worth doing. The dining add on gives you 3 restaurant options to choose from, all very close by. There's a special, limited menu just for this deal. I chose Midden which had no wait for lunch time and went with the barramundi dish and pinot grigio. The fish was excellent, perfectly cooked and thoughtfully flavored. Asked for no added salt and they were able to accommodate. Wine was good as well and recommended by the server. Overall, a great tour and dining experience that's reasonably priced

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Iconic Masterpiece! The Sydney Opera House is truly one of the most breathtaking landmarks I’ve ever visited. The architecture is stunning from every angle — whether you’re viewing it from the harbour, the bridge, or up close, it never loses its magic. The area around Circular Quay is lively, with great cafes and restaurants, and the atmosphere feels uniquely Sydney. I attended a performance here and the acoustics were incredible, making the whole experience unforgettable. Even just walking around the forecourt at sunset is worth the visit. Perfect spot for photos, relaxing, and soaking in the city’s energy. Highly recommend visiting both day and night — it’s a world-class attraction that lives up to every bit of its fame.

The structure is amazing… just like the pictures you see in Internet. Easy to move around. Handicap friendly. Many spots for snacks and even for lunch or dinner. Inside is big enough to run several events at the same time. We saw The Shiralee… excellent play presentation. Buster really run the show. The terrace around the Opera offers great spots for pictures and opportunities to crash on weddings… many diverse weddings. If you have time, you can visit the Botanical Garden nearby. You can’t miss it, if you are in Sydney!

Of course, the iconic tourist attraction! We usually only take pictures from the outside whenever visiting the Sydney Opera House (SOH). But Alhamdulillah this year we had the chance to watch the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) performance. The architecture is really unique. The view from inside SOP to the Harbour Bridge and the surrounding areas is breathtaking! Each performance lasted around 1.5 hours. The multimedia facility as additional modern setting adds to the amazing theatrical experience. I did not expect to watch the ACO with documentary screening as background. There are bar and café on the main concern hall that serves drinks and light snacks. You can enter from the main entrance located under the primary stairs structure, or you can enter via a door with security check-in table to right after the tourist ticketing area. There are many concerts and arts performances for all ages, not just classical opera or orchestra as I used to think. Well, a famous landmark does not need recommendation. It speaks for itself.
Ira S — Google review
Stopped by for a quick look around. Sydney is a beautiful city and this part of town is both historic and swanky. Lots of people about enjoying their evening and overall a very good atmosphere. The whole area surrounding the opera house is lovely to explore.
Sumiitra S — Google review
If you are a lover of Broadway, opera or just to see an iconic building, than this is a must see. Take a guided walking tour starting from the basement on up through the inner workings of the back end. Very interesting and informative. Wear comfortable shoes, it’s a lot of walking. If you are going for a great breakfast, don’t count on it. It’s just meh. Breakfast is at the end of the tour in what they call back in the states their commissary but they call it their green room.

To call the Sydney Opera House an extraordinary global landmark is not an overstatement. Its design is a study in elegant simplicity, and it inspires a powerful sense of awe whether you are standing right beside it or seeing it from across the harbor. I find myself at a loss for words to fully express my admiration for this magnificent structure. The architecture's silhouette forms a breathtaking curve where the structure meets the sky. This fabulous view is captivating at any hour, whether in the bright light of day or the dark of night.

Darling Harbour is a vibrant waterfront destination in Sydney, offering a plethora of attractions and hosting large-scale events. Spanning 20 hectares, it serves as the gateway to various tourist hotspots including SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, IMAX theatre, Australian National Maritime Museum, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, and the Chinese Garden of Friendship.
Nice to good for a ferry ride, a boat ride and walk along this harbour. You can see the famous opera house, and the beautiful scene and feel the vibes of Sydney. The fireworks will be easily seen from the area and that marks a memorable time to be there with you loved ones.
P W — Google review
Even on a cloudy day, Darling Harbour has a special charm. The grey skies seemed to soften the light over the water, giving the whole area a calm, peaceful feel. The reflections on the harbour looked almost silver, and the gentle breeze made it a perfect day for a slow walk along the waterfront. Cafés were cozy and welcoming, ideal for grabbing a warm coffee and sitting by the window to enjoy the view. The atmosphere was relaxed, with locals and tourists alike taking in the scenery and street performances. The mix of boats, water, and city skyline gives the place such a unique energy, even without the sunshine. Whether you’re after a quiet coffee, a nice meal by the water, or just a scenic stroll, Darling Harbour is beautiful in any weather. The cloudy sky only added a touch of serenity to the experience.

New fave spot in Sydney. Such a vibe. Pretty walk. Gorgeous views. Lots of bars and restaurants. Most do happy hour. Lots of discounts on pass app.

Darling Harbour is such a beautiful place to relax and explore! The waterfront views are amazing, especially in the evening when the lights reflect on the water. There are so many restaurants, cafes, and attractions nearby, making it a perfect spot for a day out. Great atmosphere for walking, taking photos, and enjoying the vibrant city vibe. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Sydney!🌃
ARIS — Google review
It is nice walking area along the harbour with a lot of place for families and kids. It also features a lot of weekend or night time activities like firework. Highly recommend to visit if you love night walk and activities.
Khanh T — Google review
A modern waterfront location of bars and restaurants we went along for the Spring evening drone show over the harbour. It was jammed packed with people doing exactly the same which just added to the vibe. A great 15 minute show set to music. We went back a day later via a ferry to enjoy the vista by daylight. Yet another fab Sydney place.
Shaun L — Google review
Wonderful place to wander for lunch, dinner or site seeing. The boardwalk is in excellent shape with places for seating all over. There are escalators up and out of the harbor if the stairs won’t work for you.
Ryan A — Google review
This a great place to walk, run, have fun and food. You can catch ferry or 10 minutes beautiful walk from central station. A lot of good restaurants are available to have food. You can visit ICC, Sydney here. A good place to capture the Sydney horizon.

Nestled along the picturesque Sydney Harbour, Taronga Zoo is a must-visit destination for animal lovers and adventure seekers alike. Home to over 350 distinct species, this vibrant zoo offers an immersive experience that connects visitors with wildlife in a stunning natural setting. Accessible via a scenic ferry ride from the city center, it provides breathtaking views of iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
An absolutely wonderful place and what a view! So many animals to look at and they all seem very healthy and well looked after. There's loads of viewing areas for each enclosure and space for everyone. We visited on a busy school holiday day and there was enough room for all. I love the fact that there are lots of zoo workers around to help or answer questions. The ticket price is well worth it. Well done Taronga Zoo.
Debs M — Google review
I visited Taronga Zoo today with my big family, and it was my second time there. This is definitely one of the must-do experiences in Sydney. The vibes were amazing! We went around midday, which isn’t really the ideal time to visit. If you want to see the animals more active and relaxed, it’s better to go either in the morning or later in the afternoon. That way, you’ll have a better chance of spotting most of them — including the lions. We did manage to see the lion, but only for a short while. The seal show was absolutely amazing — you can’t afford to miss it! The energy, tricks, and connection between the trainers and seals were so fun to watch. My kids absolutely loved it — from the animals to the shows, they were excited the whole time. It’s such a great place for families to spend the day together. It was so much fun overall — from boarding the ferry to the very last moment. I missed taking the cable car on the way back, which I really recommend because it offers stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. Such a great experience — can’t wait to go again!
Saurav P — Google review
Beautiful zoo, very well maintained and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of walking areas and shaded promenades. The full visit, including the shows, takes around 4 to 5 hours. My advice: arrive early in the morning when the animals (especially the koalas) are most active. The views are absolutely stunning — overlooking the entire Sydney skyline, the Opera House, and Harbour Bridge. Staff are super friendly and helpful. A must-do for anyone visiting Sydney or looking for a great day escape!
Arnaud B — Google review
Fantastic zoo, really well built and easy to navigate. The enclosures are all really well done and the animals look very happy and healthy. The food market was great and plenty of water stations around. I was surprised that the zoo didn't have any elephants but the seals did make up for it. We were lucky to catch the seal show which was brilliant. All in all a great day out.
Dexter M — Google review
I’m visiting from California. It’s a beautiful zoo. Public transportation made it easy to get there. I was there on Saturday, October 3, 2025, about 30 minutes after it opened. I bought my tickets online as suggested at their gate. I didn’t wait in line and took the shuttle up. You can start at the bottom if you want. The Zoo is hilly but there are a lot of ramps for wheelchair access or strollers. Great place to take your family or do a solo trip. Also, there are water fountains and bathrooms everywhere. Photos are taken using the iPhone 17 pro max. Some photos are using the 8x zoom. I’m not a professional photographer.
Karen P — Google review
I had an amazing time at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney! Definitely best to go for a full day to get the most out of it. The ferry across from Circular Quay was beautiful with great views of the opera house on the way (roughly 15 minute ferry transfer) Once we arrived there was a slight wait for the bus to travel up to the entrance - you can walk up but it’s a fair distance to the top and I found it was nice to work you way down the zoo from the top to the bottom. Lots of animals to see and experiences with close encounters. Only downside really was the food which was a bit average but not terrible all things considered.
Gianni P — Google review
Beautiful. Fun to get to via the ferries and direct bus service are convenient. Staff at the hut where Zoo members/friends go for free entry could be nicer, staff inside are wonderful, had a young lad help us to seats at a packed bird show. Cute restuarant (wish we had lunch there), the food court, where we had lunch unfortunetly, had overflowing bins and zero trays to carry your food. The Zoo itself is very hilly and takes a good full day to see and experience everything.
Kathryn D — Google review
Came here a while back and can I just say, this was one of the most fun times I've had 'til this day. Having my mates obviously helped but just having a walk through the different enclosures with the variety of animals I didn't even know existed, truly cemented that visit into my memories. And the quality of life, accessible toilets, great food and drinks that weren't too far, and easy to read signs and maps to know where you even are.

Observation Decks & Towers
Formerly known as Centrepoint Tower, Sydney Tower Eye is a must-visit landmark in Sydney. It offers a 4-D cinema, an observation deck, and an outdoor viewing platform that provides stunning 360-degree views of the city. This iconic tower serves as a great starting point for first-time visitors to get their bearings in Sydney. The panoramic scenery from the top allows visitors to familiarize themselves with the city's layout and plan their transportation options accordingly.
This restaurant left a HUGE impression on me when I was a child. To find out the restaurant is still open and that it still revolves was so exciting. On a recent trip to Sydney over the school holidays, I shouted myself and my 11 year old child to dinner, and watching the smile on her face made my mind flood with many happy memories. I personally found the price to be a little on the expensive side, but I will not complain as the experience, the food and the views won hands down and made the price very worthy. I arranged a window seat and that was perfection. Our seating time was 1hour & 45 minutes and in that time the restaurant revolved 2 full times and some. As we were a table of two, the staff thought we must have left (while we were up getting our food) and cleared our drinks and table, but this was addressed and quickly fixed up. As it was early evening (6pm booking), we had the joy of seeing Sydney come to light. Advice would be, book ahead to grab a good table and go with an empty belly as there is so much great food to try. It was a spectacular experience that made many new happy memories. Enjoy!
Shaz B — Google review
Sydney Tower Eye was great! Good for tourists who want a great view of the city. $42 for one adult ticket so a bit pricey but I’d say worth it. We also did a photobooth while we were up there $10 for 3 slips with 4 photos which was quite good!
Olivia — Google review
On our recent trip to Sydney we did the buffet meal for lunch in the tower. The food was amazing, so many options from traditional roasts and seafood to salads and desserts. Too many choices and the rotating restaurant is fantastic 360 degree views. If I had more time would have loved to go again at night to see the lights but enjoyed at lunch to see the sites while enjoying a magnificent feast. A definite must do.
Lois K — Google review
Went for the VIP experience. Thanks to Kim and Mareil for the fantastic sky walk. The staff in the Infinity restraint were first class. Happy to explain the dishes and made us feel very welcome in a setting that was a bit alien to us. On to bar 83 where again, the staff were most accommodating and friendly. And, of course, the best views in Sydney.
Mingo286 — Google review
Great views of Sydney and a good experience to do if you like city topography. We chose the free option...so spend 30 AUS per head instead of buying a ticket (obviously we'd be having a drink). Food snacks and cocktails just ok. Signage to the floor for access appalling.

Sydney tower eye. An Iconic must do experience wire in Sydney. Offering 360° views of Sydney from all angles that you’ve never seen before. Located conveniently within Westfield Pitt Street. You require tickets before entering. Along with passing through a short security check then you’ll get into a lift taking you all the way to the observation deck. There is a cafe/convenient store at the top of the tower observation deck offering light meals and beverages. Amenities at the observation deck and at the bottom of the tower . Gift shop located at bottom of tower . Staff are friendly and helpful . Multiple carparks surrounding for parking. Would recommend .

Botanical garden

Research institute
The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, established in 1816, is the oldest scientific institution in Australia. Spanning 30 hectares, it offers a tranquil escape within the bustling city. With over 8000 species of plants from around the world, including ancient rainforest trees and delicate desert flowers, this garden provides a serene environment for nature enthusiasts.
One of the places I really enjoyed visiting was the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney, Australia. It’s located right next to the Opera House and overlooks the Sydney Harbour, so the views are absolutely stunning. The garden is huge and beautifully maintained. There are colourful flower beds everywhere—pink, purple, yellow—really vibrant and full of life. You can also see tall palm trees and massive green trees that give you a lot of shade. In some areas, there are big open lawns where people sit, relax, or even have a picnic. The best part is how the garden blends with the city skyline—you can actually see modern buildings peeking through the trees, which makes it feel peaceful but still very urban. When I went there, I just walked around and took photos. The weather was really nice—bright sky, cool breeze—and it felt very relaxing. There was a small lake and also some benches where I sat for a while and just enjoyed the view. I also passed by fields of yellow flowers that were really eye-catching. I loved it because it gave me a break from the busy city without needing to go far. It’s clean, spacious, and very well-designed for both tourists and locals. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.
S P — Google review
It is a heritage-listed major 30-hectare (74-acre) botanical garden, event venue and public recreation area. Opened in 1816, the garden is the oldest scientific institution in Australia and one of the most important historic botanical institutions in the world. The Garden and The Domain are open every day of the year and access is free. Amazing variety of plants, trees, blooms and wildlife on the grounds. Very popular place, lots of tourists and locals. Mostly easy terrain, lot of easy walking. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Beautiful place. Lots to see. Parking is hard to find - use public transport. Great place for photography. Toilets available. Cafes and restaurants available
S V — Google review
I’ve visited the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney for a few consecutive years now, and it’s always been such a lovely experience. My first visit was in 2022 when I had some time before my flight back to Singapore — it was really chill and gave me space to reflect on my trip. In 2023, I went back alone and did the walk through to the Opera House, which was both fun and relaxing. Then in 2024, I brought my family along, and we managed to snap some truly amazing photos together. Overall, it’s a great place to take a walk, enjoy the scenery, and even burn a few calories. The air feels fresh, the views are beautiful, and its location near the Opera House makes it perfect for a stroll after a meal. It can get a little crowded near the evening, but the atmosphere is still enjoyable. For tourists, I’d say this is definitely a must-visit spot in Sydney. Here are some photos from my visits over the years 🌿📸. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Spending the entire day at this beautiful botanic garden was truly a delightful experience. The meticulously maintained landscapes offered a serene atmosphere, perfect for peaceful contemplation. Diverse plant collections showcased nature's artistry, providing ample opportunities for exploration and discovery. Every corner revealed new wonders, making it easy to lose track of time while wandering through the trails. I highly recommend visiting this enchanting garden.

A vibrant spring scene featuring a variety of blooming flowers in a beautifully landscaped city garden. The atmosphere is fresh and lively, with soft sunlight filtering through blossoming trees. Colorful tulips, daisies, and cherry blossoms fill the garden paths. People stroll peacefully among the flowers, enjoying the mild breeze and fragrant air. The city skyline rises gently in the background, creating a perfect blend of nature and urban beauty.

We visited Sydney in spring time and the flowers were out across the gardens making for a lovely sight of colours together with a floral scent. The gardens and park are extensive but can be easily walked to enjoy this open space. Great views too across the harbour the bridge and the opera house.

Stunningly gorgeous, expansive garden. There are so many beautiful flowers and trees, and the landscaping is so beautiful with the ponds, fountains, and sculptures. There is a beautiful view of the harbor from here, and there are a variety of beautiful birds that live here. There are plenty of benches and shady areas if you need to sit down, too. It is free to come here.

Luna Park Sydney, a beloved amusement park located at Milsons Point, has been enchanting visitors since its grand opening in 1935. After undergoing redevelopment and reopening in 2004, this iconic destination features a charming blend of vintage rides like the Wild Mouse Rollercoaster and the Big Dipper, alongside classic attractions such as the Carousel.
Walking through the giant smiling entrance at Luna Park feels like stepping into a bright slice of Sydney nostalgia with the harbour as your backdrop. The moment you clear the gate you are met by carnival music, strings of bulbs overhead and the smell of popcorn and hot chips drifting on the breeze. It is an easy place to wander for a while even before you touch a ride. The old-school fun house, the carousel and the Ferris Wheel set a playful tone, and every so often you catch a glimpse of the Opera House or the bridge between the rides that reminds you there is no theme park view quite like this one. Ride mix suits most moods. Little kids light up in the gentle zones, older thrill seekers peel off to the faster stuff, and the Ferris Wheel earns a second mention because sunset laps are hard to beat for photos. Queues ebb and flow, yet staff keep things moving and height checks are handled kindly so there are no surprises at the platform. Food lands in familiar territory, which is part of the charm, with enough quick options to refuel without derailing the day. I liked grabbing a drink and finding a bench by the water for ten minutes of people watching before jumping back into the lights and noise. A few tips make the visit smoother. Tap on at Milsons Point Station and walk down, or arrive by ferry for the full postcard entrance. Prebook a ride pass if you can, it saves time at the ticket window. Lockers are available for bags, comfortable shoes help on the boardwalks, and a light layer is handy because the breeze can pick up after dark. Stay for twilight if possible. The park glows, the skyline switches on and the harbour turns into a sheet of reflections that makes every ride feel a little more special.

Sydney’s Luna Park – A Disappointing Experience From a distance, Luna Park in Sydney looks attractive and well-located, but once you get closer, the reality is very different. The park is squeezed between residential flats, and the overall atmosphere feels cramped and uninviting. When we visited, several of the main rides — at least four to five — were closed without any prior notice. Despite paying around $150 for tickets, we felt the money was completely wasted. On top of that, we had purchased additional tickets for some games, but when we saw them up close, it became clear that the games were overpriced and not worth the money. One of the biggest disappointments was the management’s attitude. When we asked about the closed rides, the staff gave vague, roundabout answers instead of providing clear information. At one point, a ride even stopped operating while people were still on it. The riders were taken off, and when we asked what happened, the only explanation we got was: “It’s closed for today.” When we asked when it would reopen, there was no proper answer. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing visit. Both our time and money were wasted. If you are planning to visit Sydney as a tourist, it’s better not to even bother going near Luna Park. It looks appealing from afar, but once inside, it fails to meet even basic expectations of an amusement park.
Sibte A — Google review
Very fun day out with lots to see and do! We ran out of time to see everything, you really need a whole day there to enjoy all the rides. I would have given 5 stars if there was more rides available for the 'red ticket' holders (generally 3-4 year olds) and if the park had some sort of lockers available to store your things in. Don't buy any food here if you can avoid it....it's pretty expensive and make sure you catch the ferry over. It's much quicker than trekking back up the hill to the train station.
Amber W — Google review
O wow what a unbelievably amazing amusement Park, must go and I would suggest take a longer pass coz you would want to go again and again. Big Dipper is amazing thrilling ride, so is wild mouse. And as soon as you enter there is a rotor one. Do try that it's simply wow the feel in that ride, make sure not to eat too much and it's going to make you feel light headed. Enjoy and enjoyyyyyyyy

You know there is a 4 hours Halloween ticketed event with entertainment everywhere you go and amazing staff keeping you entertained and shows. - so instead of grabbing grabbing a popcorn and enjoy the vibe you decide to waste your night by standing in lines and wait for a ride and miss out on the whole idea of the hallowscream then come back here and post a 1 star review. go do rides on another day when you have time - i enjoyed my night here and i wanna do it again next year And by the way i did 4 rides Thank you luna park

Great place, wortg a visit with kids for fun and amazing views. Food is not bad and the waiting time is average for a teame park. Can get around with a pram and a fair amount of rides for little ones as well.

Took my 2 Grandsons and 2 nephews all under 10 & 1 just big enough to make the red wristband (so we all could ride) They had the most amazing time and I thought we would only be there for a couple of hours and before I knew it 5hrs had gone by. The kids rides were perfect for them all and we all got to go on the Ferris wheel together to see that beautiful harbour.

SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is a must-visit aquatic attraction in Sydney, offering five distinct habitat exhibitions showcasing Australia's marine life. Conveniently located near Circular Quay, it provides easy access for visitors. The aquarium houses a diverse range of ocean creatures and offers educational sessions on animal feeding and more. It's an ideal family-friendly activity that allows you to explore the rich underwater world of Australia's aquatic animals.
SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is an amazing experience and a must-visit in the city! The variety of marine life is incredible – from playful penguins and graceful rays to the impressive sharks swimming right above you in the tunnel. The exhibits are beautifully set up, and you really feel like you’re exploring the underwater world. It’s a fantastic spot for families, couples, or even solo visits. The penguin boat ride is a unique highlight, and the jellyfish displays are absolutely stunning. Everything is well maintained, and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend adding this to your Sydney itinerary – it’s both fun and educational!
Kasuni S — Google review
The aquarium is big and full of amazing marine life. It’s right next to Wild Life and Madame Tussauds, so you can easily visit all three in one morning. I recommend going early to enjoy everything without rushing. I got my tickets online with a great deal — one pass for the Aquarium, the Zoo, and the Tower Eye. Such a magical place for kids! 🐠🐧✨
Carmela A — Google review
Really loved this aquarium. Easy to buy tickets online (and can save when bundling with collocated attractions). Highlight was the Dugong (unique to Indo-west Pacific). But the "ride" thru the penguins was fantastic (and unique among ALL the aquariums we have visited). Located on Darling Harbour, it's a wonderful "touristy" area in central Sydney. It was an easy 30 minute walk from our hotel near Hyde Park. Very friendly for wheelchairs and strollers to boot. Highly recommend!!!

I had an absolutely incredible time at SEA LIFE Sydney! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was magical — the lighting, the ocean sounds, and the stunning underwater tunnels made me feel like I was truly part of the marine world. The variety of sea creatures was impressive — from playful penguins and graceful rays to the majestic sharks gliding right above you. The Great Barrier Reef exhibit was especially breathtaking, with its vibrant corals and colourful tropical fish. What really stood out was how well-maintained and educational the place is. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to share interesting facts about the animals. It’s clear they genuinely care about conservation and marine life. The penguin encounter and the glass tunnel were unforgettable highlights — perfect for both kids and adults! I left feeling inspired and in awe of how beautiful and fragile our oceans are. Highly recommend SEA LIFE Sydney to anyone visiting the city — it’s worth every moment.

Sea life Sydney was a wonderful experience.I have been to other Aquariums in different cities but this one is the best so far. We have purchased tickets same day and there was hardly any waiting time. Tickets are slightly cheaper if purchased online day before. Best part was watching penguins. Boat ride to penguins was very very short. Time should be extended for that. Not able to watch them properly while we were in boat. Very well built with clear directions.
SK — Google review
After a sunny walk along Darling Harbour, I stepped into SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium — and instantly, the city’s buzz gave way to the calm rhythm of the ocean. Inside, I wandered through glowing tunnels surrounded by schools of fish, graceful rays, and sleek sharks gliding just overhead. The coral displays shimmered with colour, while the penguins brought a touch of playful charm to the experience. What struck me most was how beautifully the aquarium captures Australia’s marine diversity — from the vibrant Great Barrier Reef to the mysterious Southern Ocean. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, immersive, and surprisingly peaceful. Whether you’re a curious traveller or simply seeking a moment of wonder, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is a captivating reminder of the life that thrives beneath Australia’s waves.
Ruth D — Google review
This was our second time visiting this year and the children still have a great time. Their favourite area is definitely the shark tunnels. The touch pool is fun but unfortunately it is quite deep in some areas so children struggle to touch some things without potentially getting wet. But we found gaps along the touch pool to find creatures who were up a bit higher but it is a little bit of a wait to find a spot. I takes about 1 hour to 3 hours to go through, depending on how long you look at everything and if you stop to read information about each sea creature.
Natalie T — Google review
The aquarium is a great place to visit with your kids. It's home to a diverse range of animals, and the penguin exhibit is definitely the highlight. Be sure to check the schedule in advance so you can catch the penguin tour. Unfortunately, we missed it when we arrived, but it's still a wonderful place to explore with kids, families, or friends. I really enjoyed it.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, an iconic structure opened in 1932, offers the thrilling BridgeClimb experience and the Pylon Lookout with exhibitions. Beyond its fame, Sydney's surroundings offer unique experiences like camping beneath the bridge or glamping in a zoo with a harbor view. The city's wild heart extends to camping areas and caravan parks near the CBD, while train rides from Central Station lead to the Blue Mountains or coastal beaches.
This was such a great walk across the bridge. One has a choice to take the hike up above or walk along the path that is more level and the views quite spectacular. There are a few spots to sit and rest if needed as well.
J M — Google review
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the most remarkable landmarks in Australia and an absolute must-visit when in Sydney. Known as the “Coathanger” because of its unique shape, this bridge is not only an engineering marvel but also a symbol of the city’s history and pride. Whether you are walking across it, driving over it, or simply admiring it from afar, the Harbour Bridge leaves a lasting impression. One of the best experiences is taking a leisurely walk across the bridge. The pedestrian walkway provides stunning views of the Sydney Opera House, the sparkling harbour, and the vibrant city skyline. It is especially breathtaking at sunrise or sunset when the light reflects off the water, creating an unforgettable scene. For those seeking adventure, the famous BridgeClimb offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb to the very top, where you are rewarded with panoramic views that stretch as far as the Blue Mountains. The bridge is not just about sightseeing—it’s a living part of Sydney’s daily life. Thousands of cars, trains, cyclists, and pedestrians cross it every day, making it both functional and iconic. The blend of practicality and beauty makes it stand out as one of the greatest bridges in the world. Whether viewed from a ferry on the harbour, the Opera House steps, or from the top during a climb, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is truly spectacular. It represents strength, connection, and the spirit of Sydney. A visit here is always inspiring and memorable.
Pravin R — Google review
Standing atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge was an unforgettable experience. The panoramic views of the Sydney Opera House, the sparkling harbor waters, and the city skyline were absolutely breathtaking. Walking across the bridge gave me a real sense of how massive and iconic this structure is — a true feat of engineering. The climb to the top was surprisingly smooth and well-guided, and the safety measures made the entire journey feel comfortable and secure. The fresh breeze off the harbor and the sight of ferries passing below added to the magic of the moment. What really stood out to me was how the Harbour Bridge brings the city together — both literally and symbolically. Whether you're walking, cycling, or driving across, there's a sense of connection to Sydney's history and its vibrant present. The guides were knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about the bridge's construction and role in the city's development. It's more than just a bridge — it's a living part of Sydney's culture. If you're visiting, I’d say this is absolutely a must-do.
Edrea P — Google review
It is a must experience to walk through the bridge! Stunning views, and about 20/30min walking :) You can also pay to go up the little museum and have an even better view, but we didn’t do it and had the greatest time, still.
Ana C — Google review
So you can pay the crazy bucks to climb the bridge, the less crazy dollars to go to the viewpoint of just take the free elevator and walk across it. We did the later and the views are amazing. Definitely a sight to behold both from being on the bridge to just viewing it from the Rocks area. It’s just iconic.
Shaun L — Google review
Lovely place and a special part of my son's family history. Celebrated 100 years! Well done with the security, clean and lovely place to visit. Many wonderful experiences to be had there and around the bridge with Sydney.
Penny R — Google review
I recommend climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge once. Although the price is a bit high, it’s still worth it. The view of the Sydney Opera House and the city skyline from the top of the bridge is a whole different experience 👍
Mike S — Google review
The Sydney Harbour Bridge stands as one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, offering an impressive combination of engineering and scenic beauty. Whether viewed from the waterfront or walked across, the bridge delivers sweeping views of the harbour, the Opera House, and the city skyline. Its scale and structure are striking up close, making even a simple stroll feel memorable. The surrounding areas are equally enjoyable, with well-maintained paths, lookout points, and plenty of spots to take in the scenery. Whether you’re sightseeing, photographing the skyline, or just exploring on foot, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a highlight that captures the essence of Sydney’s vibrant harbour.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) is a cutting-edge institution showcasing both local and international contemporary art in an impressive waterside art deco edifice. Situated at Circular Quays waterfront, this beautiful building houses a diverse collection of modern artworks on multiple floors. The MCA's mission is to exhibit, interpret, and collect the work of today's artists while making it accessible to a wide range of audiences.
The MCA in Sydney is a vibrant and inspiring space for contemporary art lovers. The exhibitions are creative and thought-provoking, especially the sections on Indigenous and Australian artists. The architecture is stunning, and the rooftop offers amazing views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The café is also a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. A must-visit if you’re into art and design!

A really impressive museum in the harbour District. We also opted for the extra exhibition as it seemed quite impressive from the pictures and was definitely worth the extra money! The café here was also very nice in fact we visited it twice. Definitely should be added to any visit in Sydney.

Not the first time that I was going to this museum but it did not disappoint once again. There were several free exhibitions, spreaded on different levels that were quite good! The highlight though was the Cerith Wyn Evan’s exhibition: it was utterly good! Full of mirrors, neon lights, plants and so on and on. Probably the artwork that I like the most was the “wall” with the Japanese writing. Everything was exceptional. Recommended
Massimiliano T — Google review
The building and space is beautiful. It’s a shame for a city as big as Sydney the art does not compare any where near to Melbourne or Brisbane contemporary art galleries. On top of that it’s very sad you have to pay 16 for a student and more for general public. It took me 10 minutes to go through the space. Top level was sold to me as a space for sculpture all I saw was a large spoon mangled stuck on a wall. If you would like to take photos of the harbour for $16 please go. Don’t even bother to have a look at the art. Art should be free for all to see and enjoy. The more sophisticated a society is the more they value art. Art is a base for all design, complex pattern recognition, maths and more.
Louie M — Google review
Visited for the Cerith Wyn Evans exhibition. Great location near Circular Quays station with spectacular views of the Sydney harbour and Opera house from the open rooftop. There is a cafe and bar on the rooftop. Loved the exhibition displays. The museum has 4 floors with displays spread across. There is a museum shop on the ground floor.

Here is an absolute gem! I visited in May and was amazed that such stunning contemporary artworks could be enjoyed for free—it made the experience even more special and heartwarming. The thought-provoking exhibitions and immersive installations left a lasting impression. I already can’t wait to return whenever the museum hosts new exhibitions! The MCA’s commitment to accessibility and innovative curation makes it a must-visit for both locals and travelers. Highly recommended!

Manly Beach is a popular and bustling beachfront destination in Sydney, known for its golden sands, pine trees, and excellent surfing opportunities. It consists of three beaches - South Steyne, North Steyne, and Queenscliff - stretching almost two kilometers along the coast. Visitors can take the iconic Manly Ferry from Circular Quay to enjoy stunning views of Sydney's landmarks before arriving at the beach.
We can enjoy this beautiful beach. A calm and serene beach. Very clean and clear. The sand is fine to coarse on this beach. You can find a lot of seagulls here. We find many food courts, cafes, nearby to enjoy the beach and have your food. This beach is a closed one, tides are high, so don't get deep into sea here. The sea pulls us faster into it. So be alert when you are planning to enjoy this beach. Beaches are always a serene space and provide calmness. Should always enjoy it whenever we need grounding for ourselves. And we are confused. These open beaches can transform our thoughts and rejuvenate us, when we keep observing the sea and the surroundings. So enjoy your solitude here or with family. Take a ferry from Circular Quay to Manly in the morning, enjoy the food, surroundings and the beach, return back to Circular Quay during sunset, you will love the transition. Manly wharf is also really beautiful, there are few food spots in it. I recommend you to have this experience once in your life!

The ferry ride from Circular Quay to Manly is also a beautiful experience on its own. Truly one of Sydney’s must-visit beaches — highly recommended! 🌊☀️

My first trip to an Australian beach was to Manly, and it was amazing! The ferry ride from the city was beautiful, seeing the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge from the water is something I will never forget. When I arrived, I was so impressed. The sand is so soft and white, and the beach is so long and wide. It's different from the beaches in Phuket or Koh Samui; the vibe here is very active, with so many people surfing! The water was a beautiful clear blue, a little chilly for me, but so refreshing. I loved walking along The Corso, grabbing some fish and chips, and just watching everyone enjoy the sun. It felt so relaxing and happy. Manly Beach has a wonderful, laid-back feeling that is the perfect introduction to the famous Australian beach culture. It’s a day trip I would recommend to any of my friends back home in Thailand!

One of Sydney’s iconic beaches it was great to visit it during our recent stay. Gee it was busy around both the beach and town area. But that didn’t stop me from venturing in for a little swim and a play in the waves. The waves are huge and I was knocked over twice but that’s part of the fun right. Whilst we sat on the beach we witnessed a surf rescue. Those guys are superb at what they do.

Manly Beach is one of Sydney’s most iconic seaside escapes, just a 30-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay. Once you arrive, Manly greets you with a long stretch of golden sand, rolling waves perfect for surfing, and a lively esplanade lined with cafés, pubs, and shops. Compared to Bondi, Manly feels more laid-back and family-friendly, making it a great spot for a relaxed swim, beach walk, or simply soaking up the coastal atmosphere. Bondi Beach is a renowned Australian beach located just seven kilometers from Sydney's CBD in the Eastern Suburbs. It boasts a wide sandy shoreline, waterfront dining options, and a skate park. The crescent-shaped beach is adorned with golden white sand and surrounded by lush green headlands, creating a picturesque setting. Bondi Beach attracts visitors year-round and gained international fame through the popular TV show 'Bondi Rescue.'
A beautiful beach. The water is really blue and the sand is fine, so you can happily stand for a while and enjoy the shore. I really loved this place. It's a must visit. Bondi fests are held in July at this place. There are many cafes and eat stores nearby. There are open stalls where you can purchase anklets, bands, etc as a memory. It has a garden area, and beach together, where kids can enjoy a lot. There are showers, taps, to clean up from the sand. It's a very good facility for all. It's a pet friendly place. There are also benches installed so elders can also have seating arrangements.

The Undisputed King: Iconic Bondi Beach "Bondi Beach is more than just Sydney's most popular tourist beach—it's the heartbeat of Australian beach culture, all conveniently located just a stone's throw from the city! The golden, sweeping sand and the electric-blue waves are absolutely postcard-perfect. It's the one beach in Sydney where you can instantly feel the energy: the surfers carving up the waves, the famous yellow and red of the 'Bondi Rescue' lifeguards on patrol, and the buzzing crowd that makes you feel like you're right where the action is. What makes it truly special is the incredible atmosphere. It’s the perfect blend of serious surf action, relaxed sunbathing, and world-class people-watching. You can grab a coffee from a trendy cafe right on the promenade, dive into the historic Icebergs pool , or just sit on the sand and soak up the unique, laid-back-but-lively vibe. Since it's so close to the CBD (easily reached by a short bus trip), it’s the ultimate, accessible escape. If you're visiting Sydney and only have time for one beach, make it Bondi. It’s iconic for a reason—it’s an essential, exhilarating taste of the Australian coastal lifestyle. The Australian National Maritime Museum is a captivating harbourside attraction located in Darling Harbour, Sydney. It features an array of interactive and educational exhibitions that cover Australia's naval history and the science of the sea. Visitors can explore real Navy ships, including the HMB Endeavour replica, immerse themselves in a submarine experience, and participate in Kids on Deck workshops. The museum also hosts engaging short-term exhibitions on various topics such as pirates, sea monsters, and wildlife photography.
One of the more enjoyable museums to visit in Australia because it’s not only “just ships”. That said the ships and the submarine are a very unique experience, super informative and engaging. I mean it’s a massive submarine and battleship! The wildlife photographer of the year gallery which is at the museum annually is such a fantastic exhibition too + currently they have James Cameron’s submarine exhibition there too which is equally an interesting feature to see. The volunteers are very helpful and informative about all of the features especially on the ships

The Australian National Maritime Museum is a wonderful place to explore and learn. It offers a rich and interactive experience, especially if you're curious about Australia’s maritime history, naval heritage, and ocean exploration. The exhibits are well-organized, informative, and suitable for all ages. From historic ships to submarines and modern maritime stories, there’s a lot to see and engage with. It’s not just about reading — there are hands-on displays and real vessels you can board, which makes it feel immersive and exciting. I found it to be both educational and enjoyable — a great spot to visit whether you’re a local, a student, or a tourist. It’s a museum that makes learning feel fun and meaningful.

The Australian National Maritime Museum is an impressive and visually stunning place, especially for anyone interested in the sea, exploration, and naval history. The exhibits feature a wealth of fascinating items—from ship models and maritime artifacts to incredible National Geographic award-winning photographs that bring the ocean’s beauty and mysteries to life. One of the standout experiences is being able to board historic warships and explore their interiors. Walking through the decks and cabins really gives you a sense of what life at sea was like, making the visit immersive and memorable. The museum does a great job of combining education with hands-on experiences, which makes it suitable for both adults and families. That said, the ticket prices are on the higher side. While the collection and interactive experiences are excellent, the cost feels a bit steep compared to other museums in Sydney. Overall, though, it’s a fascinating destination for maritime enthusiasts and history lovers—just be prepared for the higher entry fee.

What a great way to spend a few hours!!! Love the submarine, huge respect for the crews that spend 3 months in one!! The Vampire was incredibly impressive - just a massive treat to be able to visit these ships 🛳️ museum itself was also very interesting! Such a great visit!⭐️⭐️

The Australian National Maritime Museum is a truly engaging experience. The exhibitions are beautifully curated, blending history, culture, and real-life stories from the sea. Exploring the ships was a highlight — it feels like stepping into the past. Such a unique experience. The museum is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a day of exploration. I recommend buying tickets online. And be on time as the museum closes at 4

The Australian National Maritime Museum is already incredible from the outside, and I can only imagine how amazing it is inside. I didn’t buy a ticket, but just walking past the outdoor displays of ships and boats was really cool. The exhibits outside are fascinating and definitely worth checking out, perfect for maritime enthusiasts and photo opportunities!

We booked the Terrace Room at the Australian National Maritime Museum for our wedding reception and had an amazing time. When we first requested a quote for booking the space, Jasmine responded promptly and provided enough information to make a decision on whether to pursue it further. We arranged a site visit which helped us see the potential for the space. Throughout the planning process, Jasmine and Alexandra were patient and thorough in providing responses. Whenever I sent e-mails asking numerous questions, they would methodically go through and answer every question, which made the process feel a lot easier. They were also flexible and accommodating to any bespoke requests. On our wedding day, the Terrace room was set up well ahead of time, which gave us ample opportunity to add the finishing touches. Although we had a running sheet for meal times etc., Alexandra (who lead the team on the day) understood our intentions and priorities from the planning process and adapted accordingly. I am glad that I was able to eat every course of food that was served at my wedding, especially since it was all so delicious! When booking the venue, it was made clear that catering would be provided by the catering partner (which was Sydney Restaurant Group at the time of our wedding). I'm glad it was set because I might not have found them otherwise. The food served tasted as good as it looked, and it was consistent with what we were served at the tasting session during planning. My personal highlights were the heirloom tomato tart and the beef cheek. Since our wedding was held on a Saturday, we had the added bonus of being able to view the drone show that was being trialled (in place of the usual fireworks which also would have been great). It was easy for our guests to step out from the private balcony to get a good view. This added a special touch to the day with no additional cost to us. I would definitely recommend the Australian National Maritime Museum as a venue for a wedding reception, especially since it is so close to the Pyrmont Registry for a no-fuss ceremony.

Seafood market
Sydney Fish Market is a beloved institution among locals and a world-famous seafood destination. It's the second-largest seafood market globally in terms of variety, offering some of the freshest seafood in Sydney. The market features shops for seafood, deli items, wine, and baked goods, as well as casual cafes and restaurants serving fresh oysters and fish and chips.
must-visit for seafood lovers. 🦞🐟 The variety is incredible — from fresh oysters, lobsters, prawns, and sushi to cooked dishes like fish & chips. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced for the quality. It can get very busy, especially around lunch, but the lively atmosphere adds to the experience. Seating is available inside and outside, with a nice view of the water. Perfect place to enjoy fresh seafood in Sydney!
Alberrich — Google review
Arrived at 3.20pm and it seems like most stalls are already washing up and closing, no more cooking of seafood. Had a quick look and the seafood is indeed fresh and of high quality, however, the prices are on the high side as you can expect of a tourist spot. Got a quick bite for $5 but didn’t managed to catch anything else as it was already near closing time. Would still recommend a visit if you are in the vicinity and enjoys seafood, you choose the items, they cook for you.
Tong T — Google review
The entrance is free, do not believe what’s on Google review that says $95 on ticket section. Got plenty of good food from Multiple food vendors. Many varieties of fish, prawn and crab that you can cook at home, lots of choices but if you want to eat in the market just be careful with the seagulls, those birds love to steal people’s food but thankfully they never snach mine. What I don’t like about this market is when so many Chinese tourists come here, they don’t know the basic manner like standing on the queue or just saying “excuse me & sorry”.
Thomas C — Google review
Great spot for super fresh seafood! There’s an awesome range and the prices are pretty decent for what you get. The vibes are great and it’s the perfect place to hang out on a sunny day. Only downside is the area’s not that big and seating can be a bit limited, so we had to wait for a table. Most of it’s outdoors too, so please watch out for the seagulls!!! Really glad they’re upgrading the place though and can’t wait to see the new look!

Had an awesome time at Sydney Fish Market! The seafood was super fresh and tasty — loved the oysters, salmon, scallops, and prawns. The crab legs were amazing too! Great portions, lively vibe, and that fresh coconut drink was the perfect finish. Definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers in Sydney! 🦪🦐🐟🍋

Visited Sydney Fish Market in Pyrmont, and it’s easily one of Sydney’s best food destinations. The variety of seafood is amazing — fresh sashimi, grilled lobster, oysters, sushi, and more, all caught that day. You can grab your food and enjoy it outside with a beautiful harbor view. The market is bustling but clean, with a fun, lively energy. Whether you’re after a quick bite, a seafood feast, or just want to experience Sydney’s food culture, this is the perfect place. Come hungry and you’ll leave happy.

Located at Cnr Pyrmont Bridge Road & Bank Street, Pyrmont, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 These markets have been around for decades so obviously they are a lot dated. There’s a huge selection of seafood 🍤 🐟🐠 to choose from, both cooked and uncooked. Everything on offer is incredibly fresh. There’s plenty of tables to sit and eat your purchase. Be warned, if you sit outside, the birds can be a hindrance. They will try to pinch your food. There’s wonderful views over the water and especially the new fish market being built just a stone throw away. You have a bird’s eye view. These are coming along nicely and are due to open next year. They look huge and can’t wait to visit when it’s completed. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s cheaper to get your seafood from here but it’s certainly fresh. Parking 🅿️ is on a first come, first serve basis and can fill up very quickly and the market is incredibly popular. There’s an amazing selection of seafood on offer, everything you can imagine along with fruit/vegetables and alcohol. Would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

Royal National Park, located just south of Sydney, New South Wales, is the second-oldest national park in the world, established in 1879. Covering more than 15,000 hectares, it offers an incredible range of natural landscapes including coastal cliffs, sandy beaches, lush rainforests, freshwater lagoons, and eucalyptus woodlands. The park is a beloved destination for nature lovers, hikers, photographers, and families seeking outdoor adventures. One of the most famous walking routes is the Coast Track, a 26 km trail that stretches from Bundeena to Otford. Along this route, visitors can experience breathtaking ocean views, dramatic cliffs, and secluded beaches. Highlights include Wedding Cake Rock, a stark white sandstone formation that looks like a slice of cake, and the Figure Eight Pools, natural rock formations shaped like the number eight. These pools are a popular but risky attraction and should only be visited during low tide. The park also features beautiful spots like Garie Beach, popular for surfing and coastal views, Karloo Pool, a hidden freshwater swimming spot, and Wattamolla, a scenic area with a lagoon, beach, and picnic facilities. Wildlife in the park is diverse, with over 300 species of birds, including cockatoos, rosellas, and lyrebirds. You may also spot wallabies, possums, and various reptiles as you explore. Popular activities include hiking, birdwatching, cycling on trails like Lady Carrington Drive, camping at designated spots like North Era or Uloola Falls, and relaxing with family at picnic and BBQ areas throughout the park. Royal National Park is accessible by car (with a daily entry fee) and by public transport, including trains to nearby stations and a ferry from Cronulla to Bundeena. It's a fantastic destination for both day trips and weekend getaways, offering something for every type of outdoor enthusiast.

We had a wonderful visit to the NSW Art Gallery. The story time in the children’s library was such a lovely experience, and the kids really enjoyed it. This is definitely a must-visit museum and a perfect spot to check in when you’re in the area. The art exhibitions are beautiful, inspiring, and truly impressive. There’s also a great sense of history throughout the place, which makes the experience even more meaningful. It’s also an Instagram-worthy destination — the architecture, lighting, and layout all make for cool photo opportunities. The best part is that entry is completely free! The building itself is stunning from the outside, and everything inside is well-maintained. The air-conditioning is cool and comfortable, and the restrooms are clean and convenient. To get there, you’ll walk through a lovely park, full of greenery and peaceful vibes. The whole area feels calm and elegant — it almost made me feel like I was somewhere in England! Overall, it was such a wonderful experience — relaxing, inspiring, and absolutely worth a visit. Whether you love art, history, or just want a beautiful place to wander and take photos, this museum is a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss. 🎨✨

It was founded in 1872. It is the most important public gallery in Sydney and one of the largest in Australia. It's free entry to most of the exhibits except for special presentations. It's popular with locals and tourists. Toilets are available. Cafes and restaurants are in-house and outside nearby. Parking is difficult and advisable to use public transport. Most areas are level access.

If you haven't visited the Mike Hewson "The Key's Under The Mat" exhibition at The Art Gallery of NSW, you must . Great Fun for kids and adults especially on rainy days or extremely hot days. Bring your swimmers ( although no pools there are communication showers and a water feature to play under as well as a milk tank steam room and Scandinavian sauna as well as change rooms), a picnic and bbq items ( there is a communial BBQ bench with I think 4 BBQ on it you can use to cook your sausages and other protein on , there are lots of places to sit and eat and large sinks to wash up in), bring your laundry ( Yep there are working front loaders and a top loaders washing machines but mainly used to wash the towels in), there are lots of weird and wonderful kids books to read and even a few toys, there is a set of swings and a roller coaster track shaped monkey bar, also a DJ stage with background music playing and a makeshift hut which if you are lucky houses an artist in resident working, toilets are outside near the lifts of the Nelson Packer Tank where the exbition is, pram parking area near entrance exit of exhibition and if you forgot to pack a BBQ, picnic or snacks like I did because I was so unprepared - there is a small concession snack stall set up inside the exhibition with basic light snacks and drinks to purchase just like ones you would see near a beach or park. Highly recommended but try and go on a weekday as Saturdays can get busy from opening to closing hours. Spend the day there as there are other exhibitions to see and activities to do like the patchwork activity at one of the other current exhibitions on.

Perched on a historical hilltop with stunning views of Sydney Harbour, the Sydney Observatory is a must-visit destination for those intrigued by the mysteries of space and science. Dating back to the mid-1850s, this iconic observatory offers visitors an opportunity to gaze at the stars through its Italianate-style telescope domes, including the country's first refractor telescope.
Sydney Observatory is one of those places that quietly steals the show. The walk up the hill from The Rocks shifts you out of the city rush, and suddenly you are in a pocket of lawn, jacarandas and sandstone with the harbour spread out like a painting. The building itself feels beautifully looked after, all brass fittings and creaking floorboards, and the little domes hint at what is upstairs. Arrive late afternoon if you can, watch the light slide across the bridge, then step inside as the rooms glow warm and the city begins to sparkle below. By day it works as a small museum you can actually take in. Displays cover timekeeping and navigation, there are instruments you can see up close, and the stories are told simply enough that kids lean in without wandering off. Solar viewing sessions, when they run, are a neat way to put the sun into focus. At night the tone shifts from history to discovery. Guides are generous with their knowledge, pointing out the Southern Cross, the Magellanic Clouds and whatever planets are playing nicely that week. Looking at Saturn’s rings through a telescope never gets old, and the planetarium show ties it all together so you know what you are seeing when you step back outside. A couple of things made my visit better. Booking ahead is smart because sessions are intimate and they do fill. Give yourself extra minutes for the climb, the paths are short but steep in spots, and the hill can be breezy after dark so bring a layer. Cameras are welcome on the grounds, just keep screens dim during stargazing so everyone’s night vision survives. Families are well catered for, the staff are patient with questions, and the gift shop has the kind of science toys that actually get used. It is a calm, thoughtful way to spend a few hours and you leave seeing the sky with fresh curiosity.

Didnt know such a beautiful place existed before going to make lanterns for moon festival today. The staff were all very nice and lovely, especially Jack who was super cool and took the time and effort to show us the moon and sun through the telescope. Thankyou for providing a great experience there.

This is a real treat for a history buff or an astronomy/space buff! We took the Guided Family Tour and Jack, our guide, was an amazing teacher. The kids in the group had the chance to open and rotate the huge metal domes of the observatory. We saw how a modern telescope operates using the latest control systems, in contrast with a 150-year-old gigantic telescope. On a sunny day at noon, we saw the dark spots on the Sun, and the stars Alpha Centauri AB and Beta Centauri. We also got to see a clock tower 2.5 km away, up close (and upside down)! One amazing kid in our group even got the privilege to look at the Sun through the optical filter of the telescope! The history part of the tour taught us a little bit about signalling using flags and we hoisted a pirate flag and a temperature flag on top of the flagstaff. Jack encouraged questions from all of us and he even replied "I don't know" to a couple of intelligent questions from the kids! Kids and adults will truly learn many interesting things from a visit. The tour of the observatory is highly recommended.
Antz F — Google review
Had an interesting historical night tour with Steph last week. She was really cheerful. * Do avoid the tour during raining weather * because they can’t open the dome in rain and you can’t use the telescope to see stars.

This evening, we completed a tour at the observatory lead by Bajwa. He was awesome and super informative. Tour covered some of the history of the location and of astronomy in general. We were then shown the moon and Saturn via the modern telescope there, followed by a look through a super old telescope. 10 of 10 would do again! Thank you Bajwa!!!

Luna Park, Sydney's oldest amusement park, is instantly recognizable thanks to its vibrant Ferris wheel and the iconic toothy grin that greets visitors at its entrance. This colorful attraction not only offers thrilling rides but also a nostalgic charm that captures the essence of fun and excitement for all ages. A visit to Luna Park promises an unforgettable experience filled with laughter and joy amidst its lively atmosphere.

Biggest waste of money ever. This place should be renamed “sorry, not in service”. Half the arcade games don’t work. Half the rides are closed. At least all of the “carnival” prize games were open..well of course they were so they could rip you off some more with dodgy scams and literally pay to win big prizes now..want a a big toy? You literally will need to fork out for 10’s of games to accumulate enough points. Best of all, after ordering and paying online, was told at the gate that our child with a cast can go on nothing..can I get a refund? Of course I can’t, because I should have read the website.. found it, 5 pages down hidden away. Thanks Luna park. Proper carneys ripping you off blind 👏 👏 never again

Made a special trip to 🤡Luna Park for the 👹Halloscream 👻 event. First time to the park, was a good event extremely loooooong lines to rides waiting over 🕗45mins was annoying but couldn't be helped. As the event only went until 10pm 🌜(4hrs) not many sideshows open to do in-between. Enjoyed the scare mazes and Squid🐙 Games room. The "street"💃🕺 performances were pretty good, really liked that they travelled around performing 🎭 Food & drink was good nice portions. Great coffee☕️ and cookies 🍪 . Felt a bit ripped off getting VIP tickets as there was very limited extras for paying more. Disappointed that you were told you couldn't really dressup only to see other patrons looking more like they worked there instead of being paying customers! Overall a fun experience, we can ✔️✔️ this one off the bucket🪣 list.

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is a compact yet diverse zoo located conveniently on the Darling Harbour foreshore, making it an ideal stop for those looking to experience Australia's iconic wildlife without dedicating an entire day. The zoo features walk-through habitats where visitors can encounter native animals such as kangaroos, koalas, wombats, platypuses, and crocodiles.
A perfect place to take kids or overseas visitors but also lovely to visit this slice of Australian wildlife in the centre of the city. It is set out very well and has displays of icon Aussie animals and some surprising inclusions such as bugs and snakes. There are great talks by knowledgeable experts and you can see feeding as well. There is a cafe in the top level near the koalas. A good souvenir shop at the exit. A fun place and educational.

We visited Sydney Zoo with my old parents and the kids. We had a good day and enjoyed it. We couldn’t find some animals, which was funny — maybe we missed them! The zoo isn’t very big, and there weren’t tons of animals, but what we saw was nice. The entrance fee was a bit pricey, I think. Overall, we had fun and everyone enjoyed it. The kids loved seeing the animals, and my parents liked the easy access and shade. Would go again, just maybe not for the animals alone, it’s more for a family day out.
Shenna Q — Google review
We visited WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and enjoyed seeing so many native Australian animals up close, especially the koalas and kangaroos. The exhibits are well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. At the same time, we couldn’t help but feel sorry for some of the animals given the limited space. Overall, it was still an interesting and worthwhile visit.

The WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is a fantastic showcase of Australia’s unique and diverse wildlife, right in the heart of the city at Darling Harbour. What makes it so special is the way it brings the country’s most iconic animals together in one immersive setting, giving both locals and visitors the chance to experience the richness of Australia’s natural heritage without leaving Sydney. 🦘 A Celebration of Australian Animals From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with creatures that define the Australian landscape. Kangaroos and wallabies roam in open enclosures where you can see them up close, and the koalas—always a highlight—make for unforgettable encounters, especially in the dedicated Koala Rooftop area. For many international visitors, seeing these animals in such an intimate way is an absolute dream. 🐊 Reptiles, Birds & More The zoo also offers thrilling encounters with some of Australia’s more formidable residents. The massive saltwater crocodile is a true showstopper, reminding visitors of the raw power of the country’s reptiles. Colorful native birds, snakes, and lizards round out the collection, each presented in habitats designed to reflect their natural environments. The variety is impressive—whether you love marsupials, reptiles, or feathered friends, there’s something here to amaze you. 🌿 Design & Atmosphere Despite being in the middle of the city, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo feels surprisingly immersive. The enclosures are thoughtfully designed to balance visitor access with animal comfort, and the pathways wind naturally from one habitat to another. You can wander through lush greenery, step into walk-through aviaries, and enjoy encounters that feel close but respectful. It’s compact enough to explore in a few hours, yet packed with highlights that make it feel far bigger than its footprint. 👏 Staff & Experiences The staff deserve special mention—their enthusiasm and knowledge bring the zoo to life. Keeper talks and feeding demonstrations aren’t just educational, they’re engaging and fun, helping visitors of all ages connect with the animals on a deeper level. Families with kids especially benefit from the interactive displays and hands-on learning opportunities. ✨ Why It’s Worth Visiting What sets WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo apart is the convenience of experiencing Australia’s most famous animals all in one place, just steps away from the harbor. For tourists on a short stay, it’s an incredible opportunity to see kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and crocodiles without needing to travel into the outback. For locals, it’s a reminder of the extraordinary biodiversity that makes Australia unique. ⸻ ✅ In short: WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is beautifully designed, educational, and full of memorable encounters. With its diverse collection, friendly staff, and unbeatable location, it offers a wonderful taste of Australia’s wildlife right in the city center.

One of the best zoos we’ve ever been to! The animals are clearly all so well cared for, with spacious enclosures for them all and as a result we were able to see many of them active and playing with one another. The two baby chimps were so fun to watch! Our daughter did the keeper for a day behind the scenes activity and loved it.
Courtney S — Google review
Good choice on rainy days as it is largely opaque and covered outside. The koala experience was fun and you also get some pictures to go with it. The zoo is nicely decorated according to the animals you can see. Ideal for with children!
Pieter W — Google review
It's located close to Darling harbour, along with Sea Life aquarium and Madamme Tussads. We visited here on a weekday morning. It was less crowded. There are a lot of animals here, specifically the ones local to Australia that you get to see. You get to see Koala, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Tasmanian Devil, reptiles, etc. They also let you take photos with the Koala. There are various programs as well spread out the day focussed on Koala, Kangaroo, etc. The premises are well maintained and clean. They have accessibility throughout the premises too. There's a cafe near to Koala spot for light eats and beverages. Overall we enjoyed the day visiting here and totally worth it. Recommend to purchase the entrance ticket as a combo alongside nearby attractions.

If you are really hard pressed for time and have to tick off seeing the big 5, go for it. It is a small place. The female Kangaroo's are much smaller in size and mostly just laying around. A few Koala's as well but I really did not get to see them in action. A tad bit disappointed but the zoo staff are kind. They interact with you and tell you more about the animals, if you ask them.

Amazing experience! Visited here for my birthday this week with my mum to see the new Taylor Swift figure and it’s stunning!! loved every moment here. All staff were fabulous especially Ben who gave me a birthday button and did a little photo shoot for us!! was another great male worker but cannot remember his name sorry!. 13/10 experience Only suggestion would be some props for Taylor, maybe a mic prop :)

Madame Tussauds Sydney is a fun and exciting place to visit for people of all ages. Visited on a weekday, purchased tickets at the same time. No waiting time. I enjoyed getting pics with the statues. We were short of time so we did a quick tour of the place. It will be good to have atleast two hours so that you can get pics clicked and enjoy the whole experience. Not sure about parking as we walked to the place.

We had a blast! Was so much fun to dress up and "meet" all the celebrities. Some of them were more alike than others of course, but all in all a good experience

Madam Tussauds, a place you just have to visit. Put your mind into fun mode and have fun being silly, serious, pretending, sincere and take lots of photos. If can afford a little more buy the photo deal at the end. Ben took ours and he was fantastic and charming. Thanks for a fun time, my daughter and I needed it.

Was way more fun than I was expecting. No one told me there be props, and no one else seemed to be using them until I did and it just made photos so much more fun. I literally spent most the time dressing up and doing all sorts of poses. Would really recommend checking out.

I would like to congratulate you and your staff. Today my bestie and I went to see Madame Tussauds in Sydney and I had accidentally dropped my debit card and a staff member named Ben saw it and returned it to me. He asked if we were visiting Sydney and he took some amazing photos of us with the wax pieces that we would never have been able to take together with our beloved bear. Thank you Ben you made our exhausted day so much better 🥰😀

Step into the past at Golden Age Cinema & Bar, a charming venue located in an art deco building from 1940. This retro-chic cinema and bar combo is nestled within the heritage-listed Paramount Pictures building in Surry Hills. The venue offers a unique experience, screening classic, cult, and contemporary films with a focus on independent and creative features. With its intimate 60-seat setting and vintage 1940s-era cinema chairs, this hidden gem provides a nostalgic movie-watching experience.
We recently hosted our event at Golden Age Cinema and Bar and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We had exclusive hire of the cinema and bar, and the venue itself was a perfect fit—stylish, versatile, and ideal for both corporate gatherings and live entertainment. A special mention must go to Cindy, the event coordinator, who was amazing to work with. She was approachable, responsive, and incredibly supportive in the lead-up to the event, ensuring every detail was taken care of. On the night, Cindy, along with the bar staff, chef, and waitstaff, were outstanding—professional, friendly, and attentive, which made everything run seamlessly. The food was incredible, the drinks were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. The combination of the cinema space for presentations and the bar area for socialising gave our event the perfect flow. Having the option to bring in live musicians to perform on stage in the bar was a brilliant addition that really elevated the atmosphere. We can’t recommend Golden Age Cinema and Bar highly enough—it’s a unique, vibrant venue supported by an amazing team that made our event a complete success.

Such a cute place. The bar is buzzing with life and feels very stylish and sexy. The cinema is very cute and cozy, showing a range of cult films and new releases, we saw Blade, what a fun movie to be shown on a Saturday night. All the team that work there are very friendly and nice. Choc top was delicious, I only wish the popcorn didn’t leave oil all over my hand. Overall, a great place and I can’t wait to return soon.
B Z — Google review
Writing this review is bittersweet because part of me wants to gate-keep this venue forever! But I know it’s the right thing to do. My wife and I booked the cinema and bar for our wedding in October 2025, alongside 40 of our favourite people. We couldn’t be happier and would do it again a thousand times over. The space speaks for itself. It’s ambient and cosy yet elevated and effortlessly cool. It’s as unique as they come - especially for those looking for something urban and off-beat. The food was great , the venue is accessible and has great options for those wanting to stay, like a hotel in house, two cafes and plenty of great spots in walking distance. We worked with Emma along the way and she was everything you would hope for in a venue/event coordinator. She treated our plan with the gravity of one of the most important days of our lives and we’re just so grateful for that. Nothing was ever a problem. She was responsive and open, even helping pressure test our plans at points. Several of our guests told us this was the best wedding they’ve been to - and we credit that in part to Emma and this incredible venue. Thanks team - you guys are the best

I love coming here, I've been coming for the cult film classics for a few years now. It's a great place with great staff who are so friendly, I enjoy having a chat or a cocktail made just for me What i despise tho is the almost constant presence of the Man who has to check his phone every 10 minutes - it's a small Cinema mate. We can all see it. If one complains someone gets very upset on their important behalf and everyone is disturbed. If you're on call for whatever reason, please don’t come to the movies with other people. No one cares how important you are or even who you are. It's dark. Begging for people to back me up here while in situ, or maybe don't let people in with their phones at all

Wonderful atmosphere, can’t wait to go back! Really enjoyed the vibe and the interesting films shown here. (Seats were not the most comfortable, as it is a historical site so be aware of this)

I’m a lifelong movie and history lover, so no surprise that I loved the Golden Age Cinema & Bar, which occupies the Lower Ground Floor of what was the Paramount Pictures Building from 1940 to the 1970s. Today I went to a 50th Anniversary screening of Picnic at Hanging Rock, recently restored to 4k. What an absolutely amazing film and wonderful to see and enjoy after such a long time. Golden Age was the perfect place to revisit this Australian classic, and I will definitely return. Next time I will have something to eat and drink in the (original) Lounge adjacent to the Theatrette as it’s so atmospheric. PS Fitting that just around the corner is the Hotel Hollywood 🎬 😊

Hyde Park Barracks, erected in 1819 in Sydney, Australia, served as a prison for British convicts and later housed female immigrants and destitute elderly women. The barracks transitioned through various roles over the years, including functioning as a courthouse and government offices. Today, it offers visitors a glimpse into the lives of convicts and orphans who lived there in the 1800s through twice-daily tours or audio guides.
Free entry and would definitely recommend picking up the free audio guide as you enter, not many of the displays have written information and you would be a bit lost without the audio guide. Great information about the history of the Barracks and what life was like for the convicts, and later on the immigrants and asylum patients, who lived here. Recommend giving yourself about an hour to cover all three floors of the building
Grace W — Google review
Nice modern museum and free entry. There was interesting diorama displays of life during convict times, life looked tough! There were objects, murals and nicely restored buildings. There was not many written displays as the museum is mostly via audio headphones. It would be great for older kids and adults.
Alice M — Google review
There is 4.5 of 5 because the listening guide experience still has improvement space. All of the item introduction only comes from listening guide. It means that there aren’t any “words” in the museum! Initially, I wasn’t used to the listening audio introduction. After a while, I found it made me immerse in the history as if I was going back to 19th. I spent about one and a half hours to finish my watching and I was learning a lot of history about Australia. Furthermore, the building still reserved the original equipments which let me know what environment they were living. However, there was a quite embarrassing while I was moving in the building. Sometimes, the audio guide was changing frequently just because I wasn’t in the correct position and I didn’t know how to replay it manually. In addition, in my opinion, I think if there are some word information, which is describing the items history or backgrounds, is suitable for tourists who prefer to read. All in all, I think the museum is beautiful and they provide different languages of audio guide. It is a worthwhile place to visit and you don’t need to pay entrance fee.

Hyde Park Barracks Heritage Museum. Another UNESCO site! Incredible miniature dioramas that provided context to the rich stories being told on awesome technology. IPods and headphones automatically synced to your location) and made it an immersive experience (just like entrance, the are free and available in many languages). Completely changed my perspective on the history of Australia. Cannot recommend this more highly. A trip to Sydney without devoting 90 minutes to this site would be an EPIC FAIL!
Alan B — Google review
Came here with zero expectations but left 100/100 impressed! 🤯✨ It’s free to enter and comes with an audio guide 🎧 that automatically plays based on where you are in the building. Each room is beautifully designed and the storytelling is done in a narrative style — almost like a fairy tale 📖🗣️, which makes it super engaging and never boring. You’ll really get a sense of what life was like for convicts back then 🕰️🚪 Highly recommended for tourists and anyone curious about history and human stories 🙌🌍
Tongwariss — Google review
Free to enter. Tour by audio guide which works off GPS so no need to press any buttons on the headset. At times, there were pauses as the GPS caught up with where I was but, generally, it worked well. I am not the biggest fan of audio guides but enjoyed this one. The tour and history of the building were really interesting and informative. I only visited because I was in the vicinity with time to spare but am glad I did. Friendly volunteers. Shop. Toilets.
Lyndsey — Google review
What a brilliant museum! The audio guide is so informative and interesting. I learnt so much as I wandered around. I absolutely loved the models which were beautifully made with such attention to detail. And the videos of Australian residents talking about their ancestors, whether they be convicts of aborigines, was very moving.
Judith C — Google review
I can’t recommend this highly enough. It was not on my itinerary but I just popped in whilst passing and it was the most amazing immersive history experience. The audio guide was phenomenal. I would say you have to come here if you visit Sydney. Takes about an hour or so. And it is free!

Nestled in the historic Darlinghurst neighborhood, the Sydney Jewish Museum stands as a poignant tribute to Jewish history and culture. This expansive and modern gallery is dedicated to educating visitors about the Holocaust through a rich collection of artifacts, personal stories, and thought-provoking exhibitions. The museum not only highlights pre-war European life but also delves into themes such as antisemitism, refugee experiences, and post-1945 Jewish life in Australia.
Sydney Jewish Museum is located in Darlinghurst near the CBD. Very few museums will hit you the way this way this museum hits you. A very informative museum about Jewish history, culture and about the holocaust. Holocaust was one of the darkest times for humanity and education about it is important to ensure such events never ever happen again. They had a new exhibition called “Reverberations” which uses artificial intelligence which has pre-recorded interviews of holocaust survivors to preserve their memories and is worth checking out. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Sydney.
Nakul P — Google review
The best Museum, at least the one I spend the most time reading, in Australia. It costs 15 AUD per person. You need to talk to the gate to get in. At first, I thought it’s a private place but it’s not. Just ask the guard to let you in and go though bag check. It has lots of history regarding Jew history including the holocaust. They also provide free tour. Strongly recommended.
Neo K — Google review
It is truly an eye opening and emotion experience to see this dark part of history come to life through the the testimony of survivors, the photographs, artefacts and journal entries. The staff are passionate, knowledgeable and created an engaging tour for our group that shared a balance of shock and confrontation, whilst also sharing the resilience and courage of many Jewish people.
Dalton S — Google review
Excellent museum with a large range of exhibits, and the staff which some are Holocaust survivors were very helpful. A lot of students on excursions. Very moving stories and a in depth historical journey of the events of the Holocaust and experiences of the Jewish people. If you’re interested in WW2, this museum is a must see.
Michael Z — Google review
No need for a history book it is a living book what happen to the Jews during before and after World War II on Sunday there is a Holocaust survivor talking about her personal suffering and life in Auschwitz she is a 19 year old survivor who lost almost her whole family before coming to Australia the only problem I found was a mathematical algebraic problem with a wrong answer in the famous Jewish mathematician section of the museum go in and try their coffee and great cakes in the cafeteria it's well worth it it's well worth a visit if you have the time here in Sydney to learn about the past
Keran R — Google review
What an experience. This gem is beautiful and holds SO much history and knowledge. You can spend a few hours here, good layout providing chronological timeline of Jewish history. Knowledgeable staff/volunteers who speak from firsthand accounts. Everyone should come here to educate themselves on the horrors of the holocaust and how it has shaped our present day.
Ha T — Google review
If you have to visit just one museum in the city, this is it. Buzz the door and get past security checks and enter the world of Judaism and jewish history. Splendid display of Australian contribution and the exhibition related to events leading to and beyond the holocaust. Great collection of personal artifacts, supporting audio and video commentary. Do visit the children’s room for a personal touch and to know more about the victims. Auditorium sometimes hosts talks with victims and is a great way to understand from first hand experiences. Special thanks to them for sharing such painful experiences with everyone and taking questions.

Wendy Whiteley's Secret Garden, located in Lavender Bay, Sydney, is a charming and romantic oasis open to the public for picnics, leisurely walks, and stunning views of the harbor. Once an abandoned and overgrown railway land, this garden has been lovingly transformed into a serene Victorian-style haven by Wendy Whiteley and local volunteers. Fragrant jasmine and bougainvillea climb the walls while bamboo shoots, lush ferns, and palms line the paths.
This is the place I want to visit whether I’m feeling down or joyful — a sanctuary that purifies the soul. Like the name, it’s a secret garden by the bay, it opens up into wide, breathtaking views of Sydney’s skyline, harbor, sailboats, and landscape. It’s a spot that truly clears your mind: you can take a peaceful 20-minute stroll through the garden and along the water, or spend two hours simply sitting by the shore, soaking in the scenery. An absolutely perfect place to relax and unwind.

The entrance can be a little hard to find but definitely worth looking for. It is close to Milsons Point or North Sydney train station. The garden itself has some beautiful spots, some hidden to have something to eat and drink or to just take in the beauty of the garden. The plant life and trees are both interesting and beautiful. There are some interesting statues, and Wendy’s house is lovely. It is situated right by the train line with glimpses of the harbour. it is not advisable for people with walking disabilities as there are a number of stairs and some of them are quite rugged. this really is a beautiful garden and definitely worth visiting. Oh, and look out for the bush turkeys as they will try and steal your food.

Wendy’s Secret Garden is a very special and meaningful place. You can really feel the love and devotion behind it. The garden is full of life, with plants growing freely and creating a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. It’s a beautiful spot to slow down and reflect. Just be prepared — the paths can be a little overgrown in some areas, but that’s also part of its natural charm. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate quiet places with a story behind them.

Art museum
White Rabbit Gallery is a significant art space in Sydney, housed in a former 1940s Rolls-Royce service depot. It showcases contemporary Chinese art with over 2000 works by nearly 700 artists. The gallery features two new exhibitions annually, displaying various forms of art such as painting, sculpture, installations, and video art. Founded by collector Dr. Judith Neilson over a decade ago, the gallery aims to make contemporary Chinese art accessible to all visitors.
The White Rabbit Gallery is a beautiful place to come check out. Upon entrance, you can feel the modern atmosphere. The items in the gift shop are cute, unique and interesting. The food has a limited range, with unique teas and a small range of dumplings. The gallery itself changes with items, so the photos I have provided may not be the same if you were to go there. The artworks there are usually very unique and have interesting subject matters. I loved the art displayed here. I had a lot of fun here and would definitely recommend visiting.
G E — Google review
A decent free art gallery, though "free" is hard to find on the website. Their current exhibition isn't my cup of tea, but I'm glad others enjoy it. Went with friends yesterday. The staff are nice. The gallery is pretty small and spans over a few floors. There is only one lift, so be prepared to be patient. The bathrooms are unisex, which is normally alright, but they have multiple stalls. At one point, I was alone in the bathroom with a man, so that was a bit shocking. The gift shop is decently-sized and features books of the past exhibitions, which I really liked. I wish all art galleries did that! Overall, it was ok. I wouldn't come back, but I encourage at least one visit to check it out. Barely any parking around (you are in Chippendale, after all), so I recommend coming from Central via public transport.

Mary A — Google review
The White Rabbit Gallery has recently become one of my favourite art places to visit in Sydney. It was recent, largely because the Gallery hides in plain sight on the fringe of the Sydney CBD. I must have travelled on Parramatta Road, Broadway between the CBD and the Inner West suburbs hundreds, if not thousands, of times without being aware that the White Rabbit Gallery is merely 300 paces south down Chippendale Way (becoming Balfour Street); starting those paces between the DUO Building and the smaller of the two Central Park towers with external vertical gardens. (Walk past the old Kent Brewery - Tooth's - Chippendale Green - and Balfour Street Park). However, also contributing to the White Rabbit Gallery only being a recent favourite place to visit was the belief, from some "sights to see" touristy publications, that the White Rabbit Gallery was a commercial gallery for contemporary Chinese art albeit with a large number of (different) works continuously on display. Hopelessly wrong. This is not a commercial gallery, but a gallery for an important permanent and accumulating specialised art collection that is free for the public to view. What strikes you immediately upon visiting the White Rabbit Gallery is how wonderfully laid out it all is, to the advantage of the artwork and the enjoyment (of the artwork) by the visitors. Efficient, glass sided, lifts carry you to the three floors of exhibition space, with wide stairs for the more energetic between the ground floor and levels 1 and 2. (Tip: catch the lift to level 3, enjoy what is on display there; catch the lift back to level 2; if able, proceed by the stairs downwards thereafter). The artwork on display is just a small part, in changing themed exhibitions every six months, of the Chinese contemporary art collection of Judith Neilson. The White Rabbit Gallery displays artwork produced from the year 2000 onwards; and I understand it is the largest accumulating collection of such Chinese contemporary art in the world. For each themed exhibition, the spaces within the gallery undergo remarkable changes, to best suit the artworks chosen from the full collection. Apart perhaps from the video installation screening rooms on level 2 (VIS 2), it can be hard to recognise the interior layout of the Gallery from one exhibition to another. Architect Alec Tzannes created a remarkable design that has served the artwork and visitors so well since 2009. This does mean that apart from VIS 2 there is no bench seats from which to view the artwork, but for the tired they are (still) provided near the lifts on each floor. Incidentally, the air-conditioning is superb; multiple toilets clean and modern. Until the White Rabbit Gallery I would not have thought that contemporary Chinese art would have taken and held my interest as it has here. Themed exhibitions help, as does the display space, and as does the Gallery attendants who are numerous, approachable and extremely knowledgeable about the works on display and the history of the collection behind the Gallery. Their ready assistance and information is the best I have experienced at any gallery in Sydney. In the end of course, the quality of the artwork is completely winning; the technical ability on display in all the artwork is notable, and from there you have the beautiful, clever, funny, challenging, confusing, surprising and shocking in paintings, sculpture, video installations, mixed media and virtual reality. The gift shop is fine, and there are White Rabbit Gallery specific items including shirts, totes, books, exhibition booklets and postcards. The exhibition booklets do not contain the commentary notes on the walls adjoining the artworks, but this can be accessed by a QR code in the booklets. An idea for a weekend afternoon is to start with a visit to the Chau Chak Wing Museum at the University of Sydney, then walking east 15 minutes to the White Rabbit Gallery across Victoria Park and then along Parramatta Road Broadway - returning by bus to the Uni (where there is more car parking in the streets surrounding).

Though it was a small museum, it had a lot of energy and character. From the moment I stepped inside, I could feel its charm. The exhibits were thoughtfully curated, and each one offered something interesting to explore. Despite its size, the museum had a variety of displays that kept me engaged throughout the visit. It wasn’t overwhelming, which allowed me to take my time and really appreciate what was on display. The cozy, intimate setting made the experience feel more personal, and I found myself enjoying it more than I expected. I truly did like it, and it’s definitely worth a visit!

Enmore Theatre, located at 118-132 Enmore Road in Enmore, NSW, is a historic venue that has been hosting music, comedy, improv, and live theatre performances for over a century. The building exudes an old-world charm with its art deco architecture and luxurious interior featuring chandeliers and band posters. The seating arrangement includes ground floor stalls with movable seats and an upstairs circle with raked seating.
I went with a mate to see a show here. As I know the area a bit I found parking easily and it was a short walk to the theatre. It was quick and easy getting in to the theatre and to our seats. The sound was great and we were a bit away from the stage. Great venue and nice and small with a 2400 capacity.

Best concert venue in Sydney by far, especially if you're in the seating area. The venue were also equipped with high-quality speakers and lighting. Although the cleanliness and tidiness can be improved a little bit. 11/10

Saw Cat Empire which was a fantastic concert. Maybe stars are mostly for them but the venue was able to host them brilliantly. Refurbishments completed since I was last there also helped create a perfect experience.

Enmore Theatre is one of those places that is what it is, rustic, a bit worn around the edges, but full of character. It’s not a luxury performance hall, but that’s part of the charm. The sloped floor gives great sightlines, the space is easy to move around, bars and bathrooms are accessible, and the atmosphere during a gig is always solid. It’s not pristine, but it delivers exactly what you want for a good night out. Five stars for being true to itself & I'll absolutely continue to attend events there.

Awesome theatre for a concert! The floor ramps down so you get a great view from anywhere on the floor. Has a great bar and the sound quality and air con worked perfectly! Also easy street parking and lots of great bars and restaurants for pre concert.

Had a great night at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre seeing Brett Young and Sam Fischer! Entry was quick and easy, and the sloped floor meant we had a clear view of the stage no matter where we were standing. Awesome atmosphere and a fantastic venue for live music

I had the most AMAZING, SPECTACULAR & WONDERFUL time!!!!! At Sydney’s Emmore Theatre. I had the great opportunity to catch the amazing indie folk singer Faye Webster and wowsers, I had so much goddamn fun!!!!! As I stood in the crowd, listening to “Right Side Of My Neck” for the hundredth time in my life, I imagined myself to be one of the people in the music video of Imagine Dragons: “Demons”. Cold, distant and sad but hopeful yet living my life to the fullest I can.

Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace is a vintage art deco cinema that offers a unique experience with its piano bar, live Wurlitzer organ concerts, and themed movie nights. The venue's beautiful architecture and old-world charm provide an exceptional setting for watching both new releases and classic films. It has been well-preserved, showcasing elaborate interior design from the past. Visitors can enjoy remastered movies in 70mm format while being entertained by the talented organ performances.
One of the most beautiful picture theatres you will ever go to. Wonderfully restored with old world charm and turn of the century character. A must see. There are a variety of good restaurants close by, make a night of it and enjoy!

Hayden Orpheum is a fantastic place for anyone who appreciates the magic of classic cinema. It’s rare to find a venue in Sydney where you can feel such genuine passion for film in every detail of the experience. The atmosphere has a wonderful old-school charm, and the staff are consistently professional, friendly, and welcoming. They really make you feel like they want you to come back. For those who haven’t visited before, the cinema uses open seating, so you can choose your seats when you arrive. The seats themselves are reasonably comfortable—not luxurious, but definitely fine for a movie. The only drawback is the sound system, which doesn’t have the best range and can occasionally feel a bit too quiet. Overall, though, it’s a great cinema that offers something special you won’t find in the big multiplexes. Definitely worth a visit.

While keeping that "old fashion Charm" this is a ideal place to take the family. The facilities are all keeps clean and tidy and the staff are lovely. What I didn't know if they show past movies like the upcoming Rocky Horror to celebrate its anniversary and back to the future. 3 hours parking behind which will do for many movies Will definitely be back

Beautiful theatre with an extremely well-preserved mid-20th century decor. The only thing stopping this place from being 5 stars was the choc tops - the quality and value for money of these could be improved.

Have been here a handful of times to see live shows and films, and have had always thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of this theatre. I had an especially great time seeing the 100th anniversary screening of the 1925 Phantom of the Opera with a live organ accompanist, and hope the Hayden Orpheum continues to screen silent movies as I will definitely be coming back for more! Also, the staff have always been very welcoming and friendly, which is a bonus.

Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq in Sydney is a unique and exciting venue that offers a mix of old-school arcade games, dodgem cars, virtual reality experiences, laser tag, and bowling. It's a popular spot for couples looking for a fun date night or families seeking an entertaining outing. The themed restaurant serves up delicious food like hot dogs, pizzas, and juicy burgers while providing an extensive selection of beverages.
I went bowling with friends and had an awesome time! The place offered other fun activities too - arcade, escape rooms and holey moley, along with fast food and drink options. We didn’t feel like we needed anything else to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves. The only downside was that the QR code on our table wasn’t working properly, which caused one of our drink orders to be delayed by about 30 minutes. Other than that, it was an excellent experience overall, and I’d definitely go back!

A fun place to meet up with friends or bring kids along. We spent hours bowling and playing arcade games, and it was a lot of fun. There is a bar next to the bowling alley which is convenient, but it's understaffed, so I had to go to the front reception asking them to send someone every time we wanted to buy drinks, hence I can't give 5 stars. Still highly recommend 👌

Got the food, service not bad. Rent ta cop looking security with a bit of attitude when I asked him for extra cup. Food not worth the money. My kids could make a better meal at home. Chicken nuggets were so burnt they changed identity. Not helpful as thats all my kid eats. Then they ordered them again came back just as dark. Then gave me some jazz they look like that because of health reasons. So every other establishment is cooking them wrong now you know. $100 worth of food and drinks $200 worth of gameplay. Did I get scammed. Stick to Alcohol Archie at least thats half decent.

Archie Brothers was so much fun and my son had a blast with all this friends for his birthday. Archie brothers was full of bright colours, music and a large selection of arcade games to choice catering to all ages. Was greeted so nicely by the beautiful staff member anabelle the moment I walked in. she was polite and professional as she explanined all details for the layout of my sons party. She helped so much and was a delight to speak to. My son loved the lazer tag!! And especially the bumper cars along with heaps of the arcade games. Only down fall to a pretty much perfect day was the fact that the boys didnt get to win a prize at the end of the party with their arcade game cards... this was only available for the birthday boy Which was a bit of a disappointment as I then had to explain to all of my sons friends that they won't be able to pick a prize Archie brothers isn't like timezone when it comes to their parties Parking lot fills up fast so definitely recommend getting there early before any time session or party

We just had our child’s birthday party at the Alexandria venue, and the whole team made everything so easy for us! From the very beginning, Max was amazing — he helped me book the date and activities when I couldn’t do it online, and he also arranged the dietary requirements for our group. On the day, the team at the venue was incredibly helpful, especially our wonderful party host Annabelle — she’s an absolute star! Annabelle was there for us from start to finish, accommodating all our requests, including a special arrangement for one child who didn’t enjoy the laser tag game. She kindly offered an alternative activity and made sure everyone had a great time. We truly appreciate her excellent service and the team’s effort in making the day so smooth and enjoyable. We’ll definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone planning a party!

Always a fun place to go to. I was there recently and my ring slipped out of my hand as I was playing basketball and it vanished into the arcade machine. Brandon and Lachie did everything to find it and when they saw how stressed me and my wife were, Brandon kindly offered us free credit to use on the arcade. If I ever thought about going to a different arcade, this incident will automatically bring me back here from how amazing the staff and their customer service. The boys mentions above definitely deserve a raise. Thanks again to the gentleman that helped.

Go Whale Watching Sydney offers an incredible opportunity to witness the annual migration of humpback whales from Antarctica to the warmer waters of Sydney between May and November. The whale watching boat tour provides a smooth and enjoyable experience with spacious seating, good facilities, friendly and knowledgeable crew offering commentary, and answering questions. Visitors have been lucky to witness active whales showcasing full body breaches, blowholes, and fins.
Over the past twenty years I have visited Australia many times and have been out with many of the whale watching companies. This is by far the best boat and the best crew of them all. The skipper and crew of Go Whale Watching Sydney care deeply about the whales and the passengers. They will do their best to get you to the most active whales, but will always do so in a way that does not stress these beautiful, intelligent and amazing creatures. Having been out with them many times, I can attest to the sheer enthusiasm of the crew on every trip. Their love of whales is evident. You will get a running commentary which is informative and educational about the whales and their environment. Of course whales are wild animals and there are no guarantees that you will see them jump, therefore I thoroughly recommend going out more than once as every trip is different and you will see a range of different behaviours. I also recommend taking sea sick tablets as you will be out on the ocean! The crew will take good care of you and you will get to see these amazing animals as they pass Sydney. It is a real privilege to see these animals and Go Whale Watching Sydney will do their best to make sure you get the best view of the best, most active whales.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! My fiance and I had an incredible time with Go Whale Watching this afternoon. The crew are so kind and are extremely passionate about their work and providing the best possible experience for their guests. They are so respectful of the whales and their space. The crew provided a very educational experience as well and are so dedicated to preserving the environment for the whales. The first pod we found ended up getting chased a little bit by another boat and I love that our crew backed off and headed out further to keep searching instead of stressing out the whales. We ended up finding a large pod of six that we got to spend a very long amount of time with. Remember that these are wild animals and they're not here to entertain us. They will do what they want to do. We are so lucky to share this planet with these gorgeous whales. Appreciate every moment they allow us to have with them. Thank you Go Whale Watching for the most amazing afternoon!

This was my second time going with this amazing team who excel at their craft. Look no further than these guys if you plan to go whale watching. The boat that they have gives higher chances of seeing the whales on either sides which is crucial(easier accessibility).

We booked private tour with Go whale watching sydney and to our joy we picked the right tour operater. They were highly skilled in finding whales, and also deeply respectful towards them. This was, to us, most important, as we are huge animal lovers. They devoted their time and energy to make our experience memorable for a life time. They explained whale's behaviour and also gave us an insight into sydney history as well. To our surprise, they also took us to a place where we saw seals! I would happily recommend the tour operater to everyone. Highly proffesional!

We did a whale watching trip with these guys and had the most amazing experience. The boat was comfortable with plenty of seating indoors and out so you didn’t feel crowded and everyone had a great view. The crew were friendly and informative and took the time to chat with everyone on board answering questions, telling us about the whales and the onboard commentary was really educational. It was a little rough to start and the crew onboard were awesome with helping those that were feeling a little seasick. We were able to find one humpback whale and saw several breaches before he gave us a wonderful show and leapt right up out of the water! Then he was joined by a second whale and a pod of dolphins! As we were almost out of time we were thrilled to get a second jump! What an experience! The sunset over the harbour bridge and dolphin escort on our way in was amazing and the perfect way to end a spectacular afternoon! The photos taken by the team are absolutely incredible and the memories we took home priceless. Highly recommend these guys. Professional, informative, great value for money and more than delivered with whale sightings. They were also very respectful of these beautiful mammals and took care to give them the space they needed to ensure their safety. Will definitely book again when we come back and have been telling everyone we know!! Thanks Go Whale Watching Sydney! You guys are the best!

Experience the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the Chinatown Friday Night Market in Haymarket. Every Friday from 4pm, Dixon Street Mall transforms into a bustling hawker-style market with up to 65 stalls offering an array of Asian street food, desserts, and gifts. Indulge in Japanese Colo Takos, pork dumplings, pad thai, okonomiyaki pancakes, Malaysian rotis, and more while browsing through fashion, arts and crafts stalls reflecting the creativity and energy of Asia.
SO worth your time! So many food vendors and goods vendors. The food variety was amazing as well. From lamb skewers to black sesame desserts, they've got it all. Everything I tasted was delicious and was served so quickly. Its great to walk around and see all the neon signs the businesses have too. Good photography spot!

Such a nice market, been here already two times and you won’t get disappointed! Huge variety of food stands, mostly Dim Sums, Dumplings, different meat skewers and seafood and lots of fresh fruits and juices. They also have stands with jewelry and crochet decorations for instance. The vibe is just really nice and vibrant.

A good night market for street food or fried snacks. The market lacks the range of stall it use to have. The stalls are closely packed together making it difficult to move through the crowd to buy food or see what’s available. The street feels dirty and the smoke from the stalls fill the air making it quite uncomfortable to stay. There is no seating area so unless you’re happy to eat standing behind stalls, or eat while walking and dodging the crowd, you’d be more comfortable eating elsewhere.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Sydney Harbour Bike Tours, where you can explore the stunning sights of Sydney while enjoying the fresh air. With a variety of options available, including rides at Manly Beach, across the iconic Harbour Bridge, and city highlight tours—there's something for everyone. These bike tours are particularly popular among teenagers and offer a unique way to experience the city's charm. Participants rave about their experiences with knowledgeable guides like Grant and Linda, who bring humor and expertise to each ride.
We had the most wonderful time doing this tour. Grant and Linda are amazing tour guides, smart , funny and knowledgeable. The bikes are of high quality and maintained impeccably, Grant and Linda make sure the bikes are fitted comfortably for each individual rider. The bikes had baskets for stowing purses or backpacks, we were each provided with a bottle of water and during one of our stops Linda surprised us with a loaf of homemade banana bread, which was delicious! The bike ride was very leisurely. They only take small groups and I think we had about 20 stops, where Grant or Linda will talk about the significance of the stop. We passed a few other bike tours with much larger numbers, and I was thankful I booked this tour. A couple of highlights were riding over the Harbour bridge and cycling around the opera house. I highly recommend this tour, it was so much fun and informative.

I had a wonderful experience with Sydney Harbour Bike Tours! It was the perfect way to see the city — combining a fun ride with a great introduction to Sydney’s history and landmarks. The tour gave me a real sense of the different neighborhoods and helped me get oriented in the city. Grant and Linda were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. And yes, the banana bread you hear about in other reviews was a nice bonus. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Sydney in an active and engaging way!

Loved every minute. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Sydney.

Fabulous electric bike tour today! Grant and Linda are fun, interesting, knowledgeable and patient and are definitely what made the tour so very enjoyable. It was lovely having only 5 of us and they were exceptionally attentive to three of us seniors. We learned SO much on the route that took us to all of the harbor highlights with photo opportunities. You'll be happy you've taken this wonderful tour! Oh, and thanks Linda for the yummy banana bread!

Linda and Grant run a fabulous e-bike tour of all the major harbor sites of Sydney. What a wonderful three hours. The e-bikes were fun to ride (everything was in new condition) and the route was expertly curated. Linda provided informative commentary at just the right intervals and brought along some wonderful home made banana bread. I can’t recommend this small-group personalized tour enough. Great outing if you are on vacation with your partner or family. My only suggestion is don’t do what we did and do the tour at the end of your time in Sydney. Do it at the beginning so you can see all the places you want to come back to and explore further.
John L — Google review
If you're looking for a unique and breathtaking way to experience Sydney, book this e-bike tour! From the moment we met our guide, Linda, we knew we were in for something special. Her warmth, energy, and deep love for the city were infectious. The tour itself was a dream. Riding along the sparkling harbour, past iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, with the wind in our hair and Linda leading the way - it was pure joy. The e-bikes made the ride effortless, even up the hills, so we could relax and truly soak in the views. What really set this tour apart was Linda's storytelling. She brought Sydney’s history and culture to life with fun facts, local legends, and hidden gems we never would’ve discovered on our own. Her passion is real, and it elevated the entire experience. We stopped often to take in the sights, snap some cute photos, and even had some of Linda’s home-cooked banana bread at Barangaroo. It was the perfect blend of adventure and leisure. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. Thank you, Linda, for such a magical day - you’ve given us memories we’ll never forget!

Club
Bondi Icebergs Swimming Club, established in 1929, is a historic winter swimming club located at the southern end of Australia's famous Bondi Beach. The facility features an Olympic-sized pool and a shallow pool for children. It is home to several amateur swimming clubs, including the renowned Bondi Icebergs. Full membership to this exclusive club requires regular Sunday swims from May to September for five years. Additionally, visitors can explore a small museum on site.
Bondi Icebergs is one of those places that makes you feel brave before you have even touched the water. The ocean pool sits right on the edge of the headland, white rails against turquoise, and waves occasionally lift a veil of spray over the lap lanes. It looks like a postcard from the promenade, but the real fun starts when you pay the small entry and step down to the deck. Lifeguards keep a casual but watchful eye, lane ropes are set for steady laps, and the thud of the surf becomes a metronome. On a calm day the pool is glassy and blue. When the swell is up you get a salty slap across your shoulders and a quick grin at the person in the next lane. Facilities are exactly what you want for a swim with a side of scenery. Change rooms are tidy, hot showers take the edge off the wind, and there are benches where you can wrap up in a towel and watch the horizon. Bring goggles and a cap if you plan to put in some distance, and throw a dry layer in your bag because the breeze can turn suddenly. The adjoining sauna is a welcome thaw after a few cold laps, and grabbing a coffee from the kiosk before or after adds to the ritual. If you are not swimming, the clifftop terrace is a brilliant spot to watch the light shift across the bay and to take a few photos without getting splashed. Weekday mornings feel almost meditative, while weekends buzz with families, visiting swimmers and locals getting their fix. Entry is open to everyone, no membership required, which keeps the vibe welcoming. Respect the whistle if conditions kick up, rinse the salt from the deck when you are done, and give yourself time to sit and take it all in. Few places wrap exercise, sea air and a front row Bondi view into one simple experience quite as neatly as Icebergs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced for such a stunning location. The service was friendly and attentive, and the view overlooking Bondi Beach is simply unbeatable. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy great food, and soak in the best view in Bondi beach Sydney. Only 10mins bus from Bondi Junction to here. Frequent Bus 333 or Bus 380 available every 5mins during weekdays. Highly recommend!

I had such a lovely time at Bondi Icebergs Swimming Club. The coffee was absolutely delicious - smooth, rich, and just what I needed while enjoying the view. The staff were so kind and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help. It made the experience feel even more special. But honestly, nothing beats the view here. Sitting by the edge, you can hear the sound of the waves crashing and watch the ocean stretch out forever. You get a perfect view of Bondi Beach, it’s just stunning. The fresh sea breeze, the blue water, and the energy of the beach below create such a peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for a drink, a swim, or just to take in the view, this place is truly one of a kind. I can’t wait to come back 🩵

We visited Icebergs Club Bondi Beach on Sunday, 16th November, with 3 adults and 3 children. After ordering meals for everyone and spending over $200, one of the kids’ burgers was missing when the food arrived. We dine in this place at least twice a month. When I went to the bar to ask about it, the staff member laughed and said, “Mate, if you ordered two, you’d have got two.” When I asked him to check the receipt, he claimed he couldn’t find it and told me with a smirk to just order another one and sit down. I ended up paying for another burger so my child could eat. When I asked to speak with a manager, the staff began laughing and mocking me, clearly making fun of my accent - which was extremely disrespectful and discriminatory. The manager arrived and found the “missing” receipt in under 10 seconds. Instead of showing any accountability, the same staff who had caused the issue laughed again when the receipt was found. My wife, holding our 8-month-old baby, calmly tried to explain that the behaviour was unacceptable. One of the bar staff raised his voice at her, becoming confrontational, and had to be physically held back by the manager and told to stop arguing. He then turned his back on her mid-conversation, drank his water, and laughed again. This experience was completely unprofessional and humiliating. We were laughed at because of my accent, spoken to rudely, and saw a male staff member yell at a woman holding a baby. No family should be treated like this — ever.

We had a very pleasant dinner here. The welcome where we signed in and the person who seated us (and then found us a quieter table) was professional and friendly. The views are unbelievable for the price of the drinks and food, love that this makes it accessible for most. Good pub food. Good selection of drinks. A very nice place to have dinner, watch the beach and enjoy a drink. Thankyou for a lovely night.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Sydney, Mrs Macquarie's Chair is a stunning sandstone bench that dates back to 1810. Carved by convicts for Elizabeth Macquarie, the wife of New South Wales' Governor, this iconic spot offers breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour. Today, it stands as one of the city's most beloved landmarks and an ideal location for capturing memorable photographs featuring the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Incredible spot for sunset views over Sydney Harbour — perfect view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. A must-visit for peaceful vibes and amazing photos!

One of the best view point of Sydney to see panoramic view of all iconic location in one place. Surrounded by beautiful trees and green park, good for family and kids to stay and join special time together. Ample space for car park.

Really lovely place for a walk. The park is huge with plenty of open space and nice, scenic paths that are calm and peaceful. It never feels too busy, which makes it perfect if you’re looking to relax and enjoy nature. There’s loads of parking available right nearby, so it’s easy to get in and out without hassle. A great spot to clear your head, go for a stroll, or just spend time outdoors. Definitely worth a visit!

As suggested, this is one of the best place to see sunset with Sydney icons in the frame: the Opera House and Bridge. Around this time a lot of people wandering around, chilling out or taking photos. It is close to Botanic Garden so can end up sitting here relaxing at the end of the trip before leaving. This is also popular place among photographers with great frame: both sunset, blue hours or night long exposure.

Beautiful place in the corner of the Botanic Gardens. Easy to find and once there you get some breathtaking views. Great day out for the family.

Best place for visitors where you can see harbour bridge opera house boats and beautiful sea view with less crowd and natural environment of park plenty of parking available also best place for wedding photoshoot and family gathering. Walking along the river in the garden to Mrs.Macquarie’s Chair was my best experience in Sydney. The scenery was amazingly spectacular overlooking the Harbor Bridge, Sydney Opera House and the Rock. The gardens were so pretty and peaceful.

The chair itself is actually a little hidden away around the corner, so it's recommended to enjoy a better view closer to the edge facing the Opera House.

The Australian Museum, established in 1827, is the oldest public museum in Australia and boasts an extensive collection of over 21 million specimens. From Indigenous artifacts to dinosaur bones, minerals, meteorites, and mummies, the museum offers a diverse range of exhibits. Visitors can explore topics such as the environment, fashion, wildlife, space exploration, and ancient cultures through its ever-changing exhibitions. Families with children will find plenty to keep them entertained for hours.
I LOVE THE AM! It’s an amazing museum, I went to the relics exhibition wonderful work by the LEGO masters honestly the presentation was over the top amazing it was super creative and beautiful! I love the attention to detail! I really recommend checking it out (if it’s still there) overall great experience! 10/10 would recommend!

Very very impressive free museum. Many different themed exhibits: animals, dinosaurs, aboriginal, and local. Fun for both adults and kids. Easily spent 2 hours in here. Definitely would recommend for anyone coming to Sydney.

Huge museum. Very well laid out and sign posted for exhibits. We went for the lego Relics exhibition but took the opportunity to look around. There are a couple of cafés inside. (Staff in the shop told us there was only the one on the ground level). Apart from that, staff at the front counter were very friendly and professional.

A huge museum with numerous exhibits. The first section begins with the history of Australia and directly above it is a large collection of insects and animals. Other exhibits available include geology/minerals, further human history, as well as an expansive dinosaur exhibit that features numerous life like recreations of dinosaurs. Overall, incredibly informative and with numerous artifacts in each exhibit!

Had an enjoyable time at the museum. There were interactive elements to help engage the preschoolers which was a major plus point. Play area for younger kids was great too. Love that the place was filled with hand sanitisers and signs to reminder people to clean the hands! Best part - admission is free unless you plan to visit the special exhibits.
Cailin L — Google review
The museum is free to visit and there are so many specimens and relics you can watch. Based on this, I not only understand indigenous culture, history, and religion, but also appreciate several animals. I think this is a good place to visit and relax.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Australian Museum. It featured several fascinating themes, including natural photography exhibitions, dinosaur skeletons, fossils, habitat displays, and exhibits on Indigenous Australian cultures. There was also a powerful photography exhibition called "Unfinished Business," which highlighted ongoing social issues within Indigenous communities. As a dinosaur enthusiast, I was amazed by the many huge skeletal fossils. Seeing these skeletons up close and comparing them to human scale gives you a profound sense of their immense size. It makes you wonder what their lives were truly like when they roamed the Earth.

Capitol Theatre, located in the Haymarket district of Sydney, is a historic Victorian theatre known for its ornate decor and opulent atmosphere. The venue has been hosting a variety of performances including musicals, comedy acts, ballets, and plays since it first opened in 1892. With its sparkling chandeliers, intricate plasterwork, and marble staircase, the theatre has become a top tourist attraction in Sydney.
Went to the Capitol Theatre in Sydney to see The Book of Mormon with family and a couple of close mates—what a night. The theatre itself is stunning, with this old-world charm that makes the whole experience feel a bit magical. We had great seats, the sound was crisp, and the energy in the room was electric. The show was absolutely unhinged—in the best way. Hilarious, outrageous, and super clever. We were all in stitches the whole time. Sharing it with people I love made it even better. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Last night we saw ' The Book of Mormon' at the Capitol Theatre. Great old theatre and amazing production, well worth seeing. Staff at the theatre were amazing, with every interaction being extremely positive. I have seen comments about the seating and theatre, however have absolutely no complaints. The seats were comfortable, acoustics were great and the view of the stage and production was great.
Brisbane R — Google review
Absolutely stunning theatre. Staff were super friendly. Small waiting area front of house so don't get there super early as limited seats but once you enter the theatre you are transported to a magical space.
Wolvy W — Google review
The Capitol Theatre is one of Sydney’s grand old performance venues — charming, full of history, and beautifully maintained in parts, but definitely showing its age in others. The architecture and detailing are lovely, with that classic old-world theatre feel that makes attending a show feel like a special occasion. That said, the venue’s seating and acoustics leave a bit to be desired. The rows aren’t tiered enough, which means if you happen to have a taller person in front, your view can be seriously limited. The sound quality also isn’t perfect — while the orchestra comes through clearly, the lyrics and dialogue can sometimes get lost in the mix, making it a little tricky to follow every word in musical numbers. The seats themselves are quite old and narrow, and by the end of a longer performance you really start to feel it — aching legs and all. It’s always a relief to stand and stretch once the curtain comes down. Despite those comfort issues, the Capitol consistently hosts fantastic productions, and our recent visit for The Book of Mormon was a highlight. The show was sharp, hilarious, and the set design was clever and polished, reminding us why this venue remains such a cornerstone of Sydney’s theatre scene.
Wes — Google review
Last night I attended the theatre to watch the Book of Mormon. Prior to the show I was greeted by a lovely staff member at the cloak room. I am writing this review to commend Em’s professionalism and her customer service skills. Em made my family and I feel very welcome and was willing to help with any question we had. She was extremely approachable and has left a lasting impression on all of us. All the staff were lovely but it was such a stand out experience to be greeted so wonderfully at the beginning of our evening, checked our bags in and sent us on the way for a great evening. We look forward to visiting the theatre again soon!

Beautiful Italianite plaster and terracotta sculptures adorn this theatre. Comfortable seating and superb performance of The Book of Mormon.

The Rocks Discovery Museum is a unique attraction in Sydney, housed in a heritage-listed sandstone building from the 1850s. It offers an interactive journey through time, showcasing the history of The Rocks area from Indigenous Australians and convict settlers to modern-day Sydneysiders. The museum is divided into four periods: Warrane, Colony, Port, and Transformations. Visitors can explore artifacts uncovered by local digs and admire the architecture of the building itself.
A free museum that shares sad and tragic stories of the Australia past. How the European took over the land and how aboriginal people were treated. It serves as a monument to reminding the importance of reconciliation

This place is one of the best museum I've seen in Sydney so far. It's located in a small street in the rocks but u'll find everything about the aboriginal people and their history in Australia. Also it's free entry from 10am-5pm everyday. It has different eras and shows the history in a very interesting way. There are different voices of the places and pictures to make u feel u went through the era. It also has a discovery wall that shows a film of the place. Definitely worth a visit to explore the history.
Sakshi K — Google review
Very interesting and a must to visit if you want to understand Sydney history. I would advise to do the museum first before wondering around the area so there is a better understanding of some of the historical buildings. The museum is free of charge and not very big.

I really enjoyed my visit to The Rock Discovery Museum. Although it’s a small museum, it’s full of fascinating displays and rich history. The exhibits are well-organized and informative, giving great insight into the area’s past. I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the effort put into making the museum engaging for visitors. It’s definitely a hidden gem and worth a stop if you’re in the area.

The Rocks Discovery Museum is a small but fascinating museum located in the heart of Sydney’s historic Rocks district. Free to enter, it offers an engaging journey through the area’s past — from its original Gadigal inhabitants to the arrival of the British and the growth of the bustling port community. The exhibits are well-presented with interactive displays, artifacts, and multimedia that make the history come alive for both adults and children. It’s the perfect stop if you want to learn more about Sydney’s heritage while exploring the charming cobblestone streets of The Rocks.

Lovely free museum that showcases artifacts and explains the history of the Rocks and how the area was carved by the initial settlers and some of the artifacts from that time. Well produced exhibitions and not a large space but a good 45 minutes to an hour worth of content. Even more if you wanted to read and view all the videos.

The Rocks Discovery Museum in Sydney is a gem! While it’s a small museum, it’s packed with a lot of artifacts that provide a glimpse into the area’s rich history. The best part is that entry is free, making it an easy and worthwhile stop for anyone exploring The Rocks. A great spot for history buffs or anyone curious about Sydney’s past!

The Museum of Sydney is a modern museum located on the site of Australia's first Government House, marking the spot where Governor Arthur Phillip established his headquarters in 1788. Designed by architect Peter Muller, who also designed the Opera House, this award-winning museum uses traditional displays and modern multimedia to showcase Sydney's history from its indigenous origins to the present day. The museum features Aboriginal artifacts, colonial artworks, and insights into the First Fleet's voyage.
Interesting mid size museum, different themes from the history of the native people to dinosaurs. Multiple eating options inside the top floor having a good view of the city but the menu is not really impressive. Free admission so it’s a good way to spend 1-3 hours if you’re looking for some additional thing to do in Sydney.
Lucas H — Google review
Visiting the Museum of Sydney is like stepping back in time to the very beginnings of the city. The museum may not be the largest in size, but what it lacks in scale it makes up for in richness and detail. Every corner holds something fascinating about Sydney’s early days of settlement—the challenges faced, the stories of the people, and the way the colony slowly grew into the vibrant city we know today. The exhibits are thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to follow the narrative of Sydney’s development, and there’s a real sense of discovery as you move through the displays. One of the highlights of the visit is the welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. From the moment you step through the doors, the reception team greets you with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. They’re quick to offer guidance and information, making you feel not just like a visitor, but like a guest they’re excited to share the city’s history with. That friendliness really sets the tone and adds to the overall enjoyment of the experience. Although the museum itself is relatively small compared to some other cultural institutions, it feels concentrated rather than limited—almost like a carefully curated collection of Sydney’s most important historical moments. It’s the kind of place where you can spend a couple of hours and leave with a much deeper understanding of the city’s roots. Whether you’re a local wanting to reconnect with your home’s history or a traveler curious about how Sydney came to be, the Museum of Sydney is well worth a visit. It’s proof that sometimes smaller spaces can hold some of the most engaging stories.
Min M — Google review
A very small museum with its own charms. Can be a perfect place to spend a cozy rainy afternoon reading, knitting, or watching street views. The building itself is amazing and exceptional among hundreds of modern concrete skyscrapers in Sydney. Exhibits are limited so you won’t need more than 20 minutes to have a thorough visit.
Guang Y — Google review
I had an amazing time at the Sydney Museum – it completely exceeded my expectations. The exhibitions were beautifully curated and offered a great mix of history, culture, and science. The First Nations gallery stood out the most for me; it was powerful, respectful, and incredibly moving. I walked away with a deeper understanding and appreciation for Indigenous Australian culture. The dinosaur section was another highlight – life-size models and fossils made it fun and fascinating for visitors of all ages. The museum itself was spacious, clean, and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the interactive displays added an engaging touch throughout the visit. Whether you're a local or just visiting Sydney, I highly recommend spending a few hours here – it's educational, inspiring, and truly memorable.
Edrea P — Google review
A compact museum with a lot of substance. Tucked just a short walk from the quay, it traces the city from Gadigal country through the early colony to the modern skyline without feeling like a lecture. The ground floor sets the scene with the story of the first Government House that once stood on the site, and the archaeology displays give it real weight. I liked how the galleries weave First Nations perspectives through the whole journey rather than isolating them in a single room. Labels are clear, objects are well lit, and there is enough seating to pause when something catches you. Temporary exhibitions are a genuine draw. You can move from maps and models to photography and design in a few steps, which keeps the visit feeling fresh. The immersive moments are handled with a light touch. Soundscapes and projections add context without drowning the space, and the small hands on stations are the kind that help kids focus rather than just press buttons. The shop is well edited for city themed books and gifts, and staff strike that sweet spot of being available and informed without hovering. Plan on an hour or two. It is not enormous, which makes it perfect for a morning before lunch or a rainy day stop where you still learn something new. Lifts keep the floors accessible, bathrooms are tidy, and there are plenty of spots nearby for a coffee afterward. Step outside and take a moment with the sculptural installation by the entrance. It frames the site’s layers in a way that sticks with you on the walk back to the harbour. Thoughtful, well paced and easy to recommend if you want the city to make more sense.
Le G — Google review
Museum exhibition design appeals to a wide range of uses is important. The museum of Sydney nails it. I have visited the museum of Sydney many times over the past years, and always find it engaging and enjoyable. This goes for both myself and kids. The activities and media installations are especially fantastic. I highly recommend a visit to the Sydney museum.

I loved visiting this museum it was really well designed and the exhibits I wish there was a better explanation of the culture of the Aboriginal first nation citizens I still have lots of questions curiosities about the Aboriginal culture and how they lived for so many years it's the best example of what we need to know about forecasting our impact on the planet there's nothing better than learning from history so any further explanation on the first nation Aboriginal tribes culture would really be useful in a sustainable exhibit demonstrating how to live on this planet for 80000 years

One cannot overlook the iconic Paddington Markets when discussing Sydney's top markets. Established in 1973, this not-for-profit market, operated by Paddington Uniting Church, showcases a wide array of homemade treasures crafted by local artisans. Every Saturday, visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and explore an assortment of handmade goods, fashion items from emerging designers, fresh produce, and unique finds.
My second time to this Paddy Market. I woll suggest you put aside 1 hour to enjoy browsing the shops. You can get fresh fruits and vegetables at the market segment. Do visit the Market City shopping centre for some more shopping.

Came here to compliment the food. If you are gluten free, must try a Hopper from Just Hopper stall. Husband decided to try something new and came back with a warm, aromatic and exciting Sri Lankan dish we’ve never had before. We learned a “Hopper” is a bowl-shaped pancakes, with egg and vegetable options), kottu roti (chopped roti mixed with meat or vegetables), and various curries like butter chicken and vegetable korma. Egg was hard cooked so it made for a relatively firm contrast to the flavorful chicken curry and dal combo (sorry if I’m using the wrong term for the vegetarian lentil). SO GOOD. We also got the Roman style pizza and that was fantastic too: light, crunchy and toppings tasted good (which is to say they were not just junky sausages and foam meatball). The sausage potato was so light and the ragu pizza was just right! Tip: Bring cash to support the produce farmers in keeping our prices down! Bustling market with lots of different, more curated assortment of offerings which made for more engaged browsing.

Barangaroo Reserve is a stunning waterfront park located on the western edge of Sydney's CBD. This 14-acre reserve offers walking and cycling paths, lush green spaces, and scenic views of the harbor. It seamlessly blends modern design with indigenous history, making it a must-visit destination in Sydney. Named after an influential indigenous woman, Barangaroo Reserve hosts various cultural events such as outdoor concerts, art installations, and festivals that celebrate Sydney's rich heritage.
We only went here for vivid Sydney at night so take this with a grain of salt. But we loved the exhibits over here! The lit orb structures were our absolute favorite! The swans on the pond were interesting too but not as entertaining. The orb display was set to music that just made it feel tingly and awesome!

Barangaroo Reserve is a stunning waterfront park with breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour. The walking paths are peaceful, and the landscape design blends beautifully with nature. The highlight is the sunset—absolutely magical as the sky glows over the water and city skyline. Perfect for an evening stroll or picnic. A must-visit spot for nature and view lovers!
Kia K — Google review
Barangaroo is a refreshing mix of nature, architecture, and dining by the water. The harbor views are stunning, especially from Barangaroo Reserve, which is beautifully landscaped and great for walking, jogging, or simply relaxing. It’s also a popular spot for sunsets and photo ops. The restaurants and cafes are top-notch — perfect for brunch, after-work drinks, or date nights. There’s a modern, upscale vibe throughout the precinct, and it connects easily to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. That said, a few things hold it back from 5 stars: • Can feel a bit commercial or sterile in some areas — lots of office buildings and new developments, which sometimes makes it feel more like a business zone than a cultural hub. • Parking is expensive and limited, so public transport is your best bet. • Not much shade in some parts of the reserve, so it gets hot during peak sun hours. Still, it’s a great addition to Sydney — clean, accessible, and a nice mix of city energy and green space. Worth visiting, especially for locals looking for a stylish spot to unwind.
William D — Google review
Barangaroo Reserve has become one of my favourite spots in the city. It’s hard to believe a place this peaceful exists right next to the CBD. The views over the harbour are absolutely stunning, and it’s such a great place to go for a walk, whether you’re on your own, with family, your partner, or walking the dog. The landscaping blends in so well with the harbour, and there’s a real sense of space and calm. It’s the kind of spot that makes you slow down and take it all in. A beautiful addition to Sydney, and one that actually adds something meaningful to the city.

A nice place to walk and explore, featuring both plain grassed areas as well as a bushland section. Also a very nice riverside walk along the outside. Incredibly beautiful to visit in the evening!
Perth2Go A — Google review
Barangaroo Reserve is one of those places that wins you over the moment the harbour comes into view. The headland is stitched together with layered sandstone blocks and native plantings, so it feels both sculpted and natural. You can wander along curved paths that hug the water, climb gently to the lawned terraces, then stop and watch ferries cross the frame of the Harbour Bridge. Sit on the honey coloured rock steps and you get that salty breeze and a close look at the textures in the stone, while the city skyline rises just behind you. It is an easy spot to roam without a plan. Follow the foreshore on Wulugul Walk for changing angles of the bridge and Goat Island, then loop back through the higher paths for long views toward Balmain and the North Shore. Families gravitate to the lawns for picnics and cartwheels, runners use the smooth paths, and there are plenty of small nooks where you can tuck away with a book. If The Cutaway happens to be open for an exhibition, duck inside for a quick look, the scale of the space is a surprise. Late afternoon is special. The light softens over the water, the stone warms in colour and the whole headland takes on a relaxed, golden look that makes you want to linger. Getting here is simple and adds to the appeal. Wynyard Walk brings you out a few minutes from the reserve, and the nearby wharf makes a ferry arrival feel like part of the outing. Paths are mostly step free with gentle gradients, though there are stair runs if you feel like a short climb. Shade comes and goes, so a hat and water bottle make life easier on bright days. Bring a picnic rug, arrive an hour before sunset, and let the harbour put on a show while the city hums just out of earshot.

The Barrenjoey Lighthouse Walk is a popular hiking trail that offers breathtaking vistas just an hour away from Sydney's CBD.
What a gorgeous headland! I've lived in Sydney all my life & I'd never been here. It was a beautiful day, so I decided to bring my son here to check it out. We did the ACCESS walk on the way up. Very steep & windy but beautiful views. The lighthouse is amazing! Apparently, you can go inside it on a tour only on Sundays. It's a great spot to look out for whales this time of year, too. We took the SMUGGLERS stairs to get down, which are also steep. It's not a long walk, but it's a good one. 😍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Experience at Barrenjoey Lighthouse Barrenjoey Lighthouse at Palm Beach is an absolute must-visit if you're exploring Sydney's Northern Beaches. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the natural beauty of the area. The walk up to the lighthouse is both scenic and rewarding — we chose the Smugglers Track, which is a bit steep but offers breathtaking views all the way up. Once at the top, the 360-degree views are simply spectacular. On one side, you have the calm waters of Pittwater, and on the other, the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause and appreciate the moment. We visited on a clear day and could see for miles in every direction. The lighthouse itself is beautifully preserved and adds a historic charm to the entire experience. We were lucky enough to catch a guided tour and learned a lot about its history and the keepers who once lived there. Wildlife was abundant — we spotted several native birds and even a whale breaching in the distance! It felt like a true escape from the city, despite being only about an hour’s drive from Sydney. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Barrenjoey Lighthouse offers the perfect mix of nature, history, and incredible photo opportunities. Bring water, wear good walking shoes, and don’t forget your camera. We’ll definitely be back!

Barrenjoey Lighthouse at Palm Beach is one of the most beautiful coastal lookouts in New South Wales. The walk to the lighthouse takes about 30–40 minutes and there are two paths: a steep track and a gentler slope. The climb is totally worth it because the view from the top is incredible—you can see both sides of the ocean and the famous Palm Beach peninsula stretching out below. The lighthouse itself has a classic sandstone design and gives a peaceful, historic atmosphere. Around the lookout, there are information boards about whales, and during migration season you might spot humpback or southern right whales. However, whale-watching can take a long time, so I highly recommend bringing some snacks, water and even a picnic mat to relax while waiting. What I love most about this place is the sense of space and nature. The sea breeze, the open horizon and the dramatic coastline make it feel like a perfect escape from the city. I have visited many lookouts in Sydney, but this is definitely one of the best. If you enjoy scenic walks, photography, picnics or whale watching, Barrenjoey Lighthouse is a must-visit. Just take your time, enjoy the view and don’t forget sunscreen!

Visited Palm Beach in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and it felt like a mini getaway without leaving the city. The view from Barrenjoey Lighthouse was breathtaking — sweeping ocean on one side and calm Pittwater on the other. The beach itself was clean and peaceful, with clear blue water and golden sand. There are nice cafés nearby for brunch or coffee after a walk. It’s the perfect place to escape the city rush, recharge, and take in some of the most stunning coastal scenery in New South Wales. Definitely one of my favorite spots around Sydney.
Masaki K — Google review
It is a steep walk up and on the way up I took the easier path, on the way down the steeper one - this worked well as the views are better over Palm Beach on the way down on the steeper path. However! Both paths are grade 3 so do your research people, its a bit steep. Truly worth it, maybe avoid the heat of the day. You will feel filled with dopamine good vibes that you achieved this simple walk 🤣 its glorious.
Sue ( — Google review
It was a marvellous experience. Brisk walk so don’t go if you’re injured or frail. Wonderful views, we saw dolphins in the bay from up there. Be sure to walk down slowly to listen to the ocean echo against the rock while walking down.
Louw V — Google review
Legendary view of beaches side by side, 2 ways to the lighthouse taking around 25mins from beach entrance. Be aware all parking are ticketed at $8/hour 7am-7pm.
K. X — Google review
It's a beautiful view from the top of the hill. However the lighthouse is closed for major restoration. You can find two paths to get to the top of the hill: One is a stairway path and the other one is a plain path. I did the stairs when I walked to the top and the other one to go back. The first one is very demanding and tricky so be prepared and careful when you decide to go. The sunsets are stunning!!

Nice to see this little market near the beach. People here look relaxed. Despite here are not so many shops but it still worth a visit.

Located on Campbell Parade, (in grounds of the primary school), Bondi Beach, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. Definitely worth a visit, although I did think there would be more variety. There seemed to a lot of stores concentrating on jewellery. There was other things on offer though, overall, there was a pretty good selection of items to look at and the food on offer was very good also. I am glad I went as I had been wanting to go for quite some time. Dogs 🐶 are not allowed in the school where the markets are held so there’s a spot at the entrance where you can leave your dog. Water is provided i believe. The markets are just across from the beach and are pretty easy to get to by public transportation. I had a lovely time. Thumbs Up! 👍👍👍

Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, located about 40 minutes north of Sydney, is a haven for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. With over 800 Aboriginal sites including rock art and engravings, the park offers a deep dive into indigenous culture. Visitors can explore walking tracks through bushland, keeping an eye out for native wildlife like kangaroos and wallabies. The park also features picturesque swimming holes such as The Duck Holes and Apple Tree Bay.
With a $12 per car entry fee, per day, giving you parking at all spots, this should be on your list for spots to see in Sydney. The lookout at the end is well set up for a slow wander and lots of pictures. It has lots of options for hiking at different skill levels. One picnic stop has lots of options for tables and gas BBQs available. The picnic stop also has reasonable toilet facilities, including a working soap dispenser. Lots of brush turkeys and even a Goana. Just remember to keep your distance as their claws will make mince meat of you if you get too close.

There are endless activities to enjoy in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Swim, hike, ride, drive, learn and immerse yourself in a beautifully preserved slice of the bush. Easily accessed and all the rangers are very kind. It’s important to treat the park with respect and always take all rubbish out with you.

A rocky but easy hike down to this beautiful spot, a little steep in places. Although we didn't end up at the part we thought we would, it was great to cool down with a dip and then relax in the sun while being visited by the curious bush turkeys.

If you're looking for an exhilarating way to spend your day in Sydney, the Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym St Peters is a fantastic choice! This vibrant facility boasts two locations that cater to climbers of all ages and skill levels. With expansive rock walls and a variety of climbing routes, it’s perfect for both seasoned climbers and beginners alike. Families will appreciate the dedicated kids' section, while older teens can tackle more challenging climbs in designated areas.
Absolutely love this gym. It's my regular gym, after having climbed at all the other local bouldering gyms (which are also fantastic too. We're really spoiled in the innerwest as climbers.) Love the route setting and variety of holds, plus how much they fill the walls up with climbs (not a fan of empty aesthetic walls). The top roping areas are massive. The bouldering section is huge too. There is a large area downstairs and a smaller area upstairs that sets a bit more old school aka pulling hard. The main workout area has been updated recently with new equipment and a paint job too. There is free yoga multiple times a week as well. I especially love how often they reset - twice a week and at both areas. Keeps things interesting! Staff are also lovely too.

Whether you’re a beginner testing the waters or an advanced climber looking for a challenge, this place has it all. The sheer scale of the gym is incredible — it’s one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, and you can feel it as soon as you walk in. The variety of 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 and 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 problems is phenomenal. They’re constantly updated, so it never gets boring. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with technique tips, safety advice, or just a good climbing chat. The atmosphere is buzzing but inclusive. It’s the kind of place where you feel part of a community from day one. Everything is clean, well-organized, and maintained to a high standard — from the gear rental to the training area and amenities. Whether you’re going solo, with friends, or bringing the kids along, this gym is a must-visit. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁; 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗!

This might be the best indoor climbing gym in Australia... The staff were very helpful and friendly. And there is loads of climbs to choose from. With a separate kids section too. Climbs for all levels. Will be back here again next chance I get.

We recently had an incredible time at Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym in St Peters. My kids and I went, and it was a fantastic experience for all of us. The staff was super helpful and friendly, and they made sure we were comfortable and knew what we were doing, which I really appreciated. The place has a great vibe—it's clean, the facilities are well-maintained, and there's a huge variety of walls for all skill levels. It was a perfect day out, and we all had a blast. We'll definitely be back soon to try more of the walls. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun day with the family.

Love this gym! One of my favourite. Going regularly for TR. Lots of routes so even if busy plenty of space for everyone. Bouldering available and yoga classes every evening during the week free with entry.

Fantastic spot for rainy days (or any day) There's different levels of climbing and bouldering and a dedicated area for kids. Although it was busy, it didn't feel like squashed. There's also free lockers for bags, a sitting area when you need a rest, tight rope walking, a football table (although it's a big rusty and hard to manouver). The kids did not want to leave!

Great gym, terrible service. We flew in from Brisbane to go lead climbing. Got here at 5 to do our assessment. 5 people at the desk nobody could do the lead assessment. We were told to come back at 8. Someone was grabbing pizza. Super disappointed. We waited 3 hours for someone to grab pizza. Like seriously organise your staff. One young guy was really nice. iFLY Downunder, located in Penrith in Sydney's west, is the first indoor skydiving facility in Australia. It offers a safe and fully controlled environment with a state-of-the-art wind tunnel for guests to experience the thrill of flight. This unique experience is suitable for all ages, from 3 to 103, making it perfect for families. Visitors can enjoy the sensation of skydiving without needing a plane.
I’ve been to iFLY a couple of times in 2022, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional, making you feel safe and supported throughout the whole process. The activity itself is an indoor skydiving experience in a vertical wind tunnel, and it’s truly unique — you get the sensation of flying without needing to jump out of a plane. One important tip: make sure to arrive at least one hour before your booking time. The website also mentions this, and it’s absolutely necessary. Before you fly, the team gives you a short briefing about the theory behind the experience, plus instructions on body position and safety. They also provide all the gear, including the suit, helmet, and safety equipment. Once, I made the mistake of arriving only a few minutes before my scheduled session, and I almost didn’t have enough time to get ready properly. So I highly recommend arriving early! For beginners or those just wanting to try it out for fun, I suggest adding on the High Fly option. It costs extra, but it’s really worth it. The instructor will take you higher up in the tunnel, and the feeling is absolutely thrilling. It’s an unforgettable add-on and especially fun if you’re visiting with kids or family. Overall, iFLY is a must-try experience if you want something exciting and different!

I was given this iFly session as a gift for my 70th Birthday by an 82 year old who had recently loved her own visit. It was an exciting and wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who doesn't have too many movement restrictions. The front desk staff were accommodating and friendly and the flight instructor was just as excited about being there as we were, whilst at the same time being totally professional.

Had a great first time experience with iFLY downunder Penrith. Staff was assistive. I took extra flights as well as High Add-on. The instructor was patient and took good care of us right from the beginning till the end of session. Eventually I want to do Sky Diving, and this experience boosted my confidence. I was in a rush but managed to find parking next to Pullman Sydney, which is bang opposite. I would recommend to try iFLY at least once to discover your flying abilities and let go of some fear.

We took our 2 kids to ifly today and OMG the instructors were amazing, especially Amie she was absolutely beautiful, she took the time to try to talk my daughter into going back into the fly zone when she freaked out they even turned the wind off so she could walk in instead of falling in and she had the best time. The staff that worked today are a massive credit to your company!

Mary's Underground, located near Circular Quay, was formerly known as the Basement and has a special place in the hearts of many. The venue now offers jazz performances six nights a week and features a French-inspired bistro-style menu with a dedicated oyster bar. Additionally, Mary's is currently offering takeaway through the Deliveroo app from their CBD and Newtown locations, featuring delicious burgers, pizza, chicken, and sides with an extensive vegan menu.
Amazing 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I came to this place first time today after my tik tok friend said this is best burger place in Sydney. I have to reveal, It is! The burger 🍔 🤤😍 was out of this world we had the cheese burger with bacon and the chips so delicious as well. Cooked to perfection 😋 good price as well.

Staff are amazing! The space is pretty good, but it does fail a bit when you're seeing a musician who's sitting down for his performance and there's no raised stage. I've never before had to fight to catch only a glimpse of a musician I've paid to see. (I was even on one of the side balconies) Audio quality was surprisingly good for the venue, the tech just needs to calm down a bit when they're playing with the lighting cues.

The bartenders were hella nice and the live music was good too. We dined there for dinner and food was great. A little disappointed that it was $3 for a small roll of bread and they didn’t provided enough bread for the pate so I ended up ordering like $12 worth of bread for myself (just for entrees) LOL. But ye in general would recommend. Their duck is to die for and we really regretted not ordering two of those bad boys. Ended up fighting over who can have the drum stick. I lost.
Jenny N — Google review
On two occasions, within the same hour, our docket was "lost" so we waited over 25 minute each time for our drinks. If we hadn't have asked about their whereabouts on both times, we never would have received them. When we brought it up to the guy with glasses, his response was "don't have an attitude" and that they were busy. But when we ordered our first round, the place wasn't that busy and on the second time, people who ordered after us revieved their drinks, so being "busy" isn't an excuse. Terrible service and an incredibly defensive response to an honest question as to how it happened twice.

Had such a lovely time here. Great atmosphere, cool band (Tuesday jazz night), attentive staff and delicious menu!! Started off with the ceviche which was amazing!! Then had the black rice with pippis which is squid ink... very good!! Then a silk handkerchief pasta.. silky indeed!! Then a fancy french pie with cheese and peas inside.. wasn't as heavy as it looks so don't be afraid! Side of corn because of course and finished with a beautiful fig tarte. My only sad moment for the evening was being sold to on the lovely sounding description of the paté only to find that it was sold out and at the beginning of the night. But will definitely be back and sampling the rest of this decadent menu (and the music of course!)

Burgers 🍔 🍔 - if you love 🍔 and are anywhere near the CBD then you need to try Mary's. I had the double cheese burger (it was a tad expensive at $16 for the size) but the ingredients (cheese, pickles, sauces) were just right so nothing overpowered the star of the show the meat patty which was deliciously cooked. I'd definitely recommend checking out Mary's and I'll be going back for sure.

Setting is quite cool, with heavy metal music (very very high!) and nice graffitis all over the walls. Food is okay and prices are Sydney-level. Place is quite small, so we had to queue to sit down. Some of the staff didn’t look amazed to be there.

Taylor's new album release party, it's really good everyone is nice and enjoy it, we sing along with the song, and I got to know some new friends there. Although the connection between songs and the number of songs are a bit insufficient for me, after all, it is not official and there must be certain limitations, which is understandable.

A bit less quirky now that the mismatched sofas have been replaced Formica topped tables but it means more room for more people to listen to good music. Still plenty of camels about! Being next to the Metro has made it much more accessible to us suburban types. Pizzas and platters for meals and a bar that didn't have the drink we wanted from their menu is no big deal. The music on the day we went was fabulous.
Vivek K — Google review
It is a great live music venue in the inner west. Pizzas, charcuterie platters, and a good selection of wines and beers. Always great shows from a diverse range of musical tastes and genres. Saw George Michael Relived recently - great show capturing hits from the Wham days up to Older....excellent!

The Camelot Lounge is now so overcrowded that once seated it is nearly impossible to move. It is a challenge to sit comfortably at a table as nearly sitting on the person seated beside you, let alone if you are taller than 160cms tall! Now there are not sufficient seats so you need to locate a seat in some instances although you booked. I will no longer visit this establishment. Prior to Covid and after Covid I enjoyed many fun filled nights listening to incredible bands, dancing and a great vibe. Also no parking as Buses take up the carpark.

A great place for live music - they have the ambience, sound and catering just right. Maybe more for the 30+ age group, or it was just the world music fans on the night we were there. Simple menu of pizzas and share platters, served quickly. All wines $40-60 per bottle, but maybe that’s just the standard price these days, the because entertainment charge is reasonable.
Ken B — Google review
We wwnt for a work event of mine. Music was good, vibes were good, spent a lot of the night dancing. Not good for talking, not comfortable seating, but by speaking to some regulars, it often has very good rock artists come there often, so if loud music is your thing, definitely recommend.

I seen karise eden here on the 13th of May 2023. The outside area of the venue seemed a bit sketchy, but the internal venue was cosy and really lovely. We were on the first floor, and apparently there was a 2nd level with another artist playing the same night. The venue hosts a wide range of acts, soul funk, mowtown, rock and tributes to artists such a George Michael to name just a few genres. The food was nice and reasonably priced and the bonus of meeting the artist and getting signed copies of CD's was great. The ticket prices were reasonable as well. Overall it was a great night of entertainment which was affordable and enjoyable.

Great variety of holes across the 2 courses, was a nice change (while visiting Sydney) from playing the same holes again and again in both Melbourne & Brisbane. 3 Vodka Red Bulls for 30 bucks is a bargain, and there's good package deals including food/drink credit when booking online that are well worth it. Staff were friendly and helpful, and having drinks delivered to whichever hole you were on was easy and quick. Only lost 1 star for the horrid smell of the women's toilets. They smelt like a urinal, but it was only the women's not men's that were that bad. Was easy to head over to the darts section after playing, and having played lots of darts, the selections were so much fun and I'd definitely go back there next time in Sydney.

The place is easy to find with bouncers out front. Once you go up the stairs your greeted by friendly staff. The golfing is 20 per 9 holes. Staff are friendly but lazy, they seem to want to talk and stand around more then clean. The bar forgot our drinks and were to busy talking to make them. They apologised but the drink I received didn't look anything like the picture. They have QR codes everywhere. The course itself is very fun but the way its laid out is awful. We had people lining up behind eachother in awkward ways. Parts of the course you also had to walk on uneven surfaces which could hurt people. The whole place is super overwhelming. Moving parts, disco ball, bright flashing lights, announcements over the speakers and lots of people. Personally I wouldnt go back.
Sue D — Google review
Came here over lunch, so we were one group (of 2) of about 4-5 other groups of couples. So it was basically empty. For lunch, the food was over cooked (bordering on burnt) and the beef burger was half burger helper half salt. My friend gave the chicken burger a 1 out of 5, only cause I told him he couldn't give it a zero. I understand they likely have to do very quick turnaround for food orders, but in the middle of the day when it's not busy I would expect a little more care given. As for the golf... I don't get the hype. The courses are tiny, cheaply built, and thematically the set designs are tack-o-rama. Also nothing automated, nothing mechanical, not even any lights or sounds. I wouldn't come back here, and I couldn't in good conscience recommend it to anyone. Update: we played the first nine holes, then had lunch, then played the next nine holes. There was something mechanical! But then there was a light on the operation table course, but it didn't light up like I think it was meant to. Rating still stands at 1 star, would give it zero cause of their extra tacky sign at the end. Cringe.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere at this bar. Staff were attentive and lovely. Especially Jade and Joe, they were looking out for our every need and want while we were here. If you’re looking for a fun bottomless brunch where they actually give you value for money, I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Holey Moley was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was fun, the courses were creative, and the whole place had such great energy. A special shout-out to the manager, Jade – she was incredible! Super friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. You can really tell she cares about guests having a great time. Can’t wait to come back!

47Spit to Manly Walk

The Spit to Manly Walk is a less crowded alternative to the Bondi to Coogee hike, offering diverse and serene natural views. This 10km trail takes about 3.5 hours to complete, passing through lush bushland, harbourside paths, secluded beaches, indigenous rock carvings, and panoramic lookouts. The section from Wattamolla to Eagle Rock features outstanding sea views and Sydney's remarkable waterfall cascading into the ocean.
Great walk! So much to see, beautiful views, birds. On a weekday afternoon in August, we took the bus to Spit Bridge. We crossed the brisge and started the walk. There are signs along the path, no need to worry about getting lost. Because we did the walk during low tide, we were able to walk along the beach in several places. The first half of the walk was definitely harder and had more stairs and more uneven sections. I was glad we started at Spit Bridge. It had rained in the morning before we started so there was lots of mud and puddles on the trail - we just had to be a little more careful where we stepped. Our toes were wet by the end. You will definitely need running shoes for this path. Also, be sure to bring water for the walk. We likely only passed 30 people in the entire trail - it was much quieter and more peaceful than the other walks we did. The scenery was beautiful. The walk ended in Manly and we rode the ferry back to Circular Quay. It was a beautiful ferry ride - seeing the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from the water was magical.

Best walk in Sydney. Incredible to think this walk is so close to the CBD. We walked from Spit Bridge to Manly, stopping to take lots of photos, enjoying stunning views as well as looking out for wildlife. We actually saw an echidna!! All up it took us 3 hrs comfortably. Bring water and a sense of adventure, I guarantee you'll have a wonderful day.
Teneile H — Google review
This was truly one of the best walks I've been on. The views were absolutely stunning, with so much natural beauty to take in. Along the way, I spotted birds and even a wallaby, which made the experience even more special. The walk also features Indigenous art, adding cultural depth to the journey. There were more stairs than I expected, so be prepared for a bit of a workout, but the trail itself was very well-marked and easy to follow thanks to plenty of signage. Highly recommended!

Super nice walk to do on a casual Sunday. Just get off the bus at Spit bridge and walk from there. Easy walk, a few stairs but not that many. Walk was around 11 km one way.

Easily best walk in manly! Never disappoints. A top Sydney must do!! Castle rock beach is a great one to swim at with amazing water colours, really recommend
Monika J — Google review
I have walked this trial starting at Manly Wharf to Spit Bridge. It takes about 3.5 hours. It is a beautiful view path with great view of beach. It is a easy path for all people.
Andy C — Google review
Mostly a nice walk, although there are a serious number of steps along the route, so your knees tell you you've walked the distance. Bit of the path near Four Baskets Beach doesn't exist due to building work (no signage), and there is a diversion near Castle Rock Beach which is well signposted. Stupid Fitbit decided to pause for about 1km during the walk, but the advertised distance of 9.3km is definitely not correct, more like 10.5 to 11.5km depending on detours. Oh and both the cafes at Sandy Bay close early, so don't assume you can eat when you get there. But cafe just off the path at North Harbour is lovely.

Unreal - many beautiful swimming spots on the way - would highly recommend with good company! Not challenging for someone very fit so its more about the steps, peace and scenery 🙂

Bronte Baths is a historic saltwater rock pool located at the southern end of Bronte Beach, offering a picturesque setting surrounded by rugged cliffs. Dating back to 1883, it has become an iconic spot for swimming and sunbathing. The area is known for attracting a diverse crowd, including Sydney celebrities and models. While it can get crowded in the summer months, visiting during cooler times offers a serene experience with clear and quiet waters.
Loved everything about this place. 6am sunrise swim was amazing. Beautiful stunning location. Enjoyed the waves crashing up the sides, watching the surfers, the water was fresh and clean. I’d go here everyday if I lived nearby. Highly recommend!
Haley K — Google review
Although not as crowded as Bondi, Bronte is still a large and busy beach. It was one of the beaches where we spent the most time. Like many other beaches, it has rock-carved pools that were thoughtfully designed years ago and add to the experience. However, what we enjoyed the most was the thrill of surfing in its lively waves.
Nurcihan K — Google review
This iconic rock pool is a must-visit for anyone who loves swimming. It’s a popular spot for locals, and I thoroughly enjoyed my morning swim as the sun rose. I highly recommend it.

Love ❤️ Bronte Beach Baths Enclosed swimming pool as well as natural swimming area with shallow water suitable for children as well as adults, toilet and shower facilities are also available. The beach and the surrounding area is very nice. The bogey hole sometimes might be a bit rough depending on the the conditions!!! I still remember the great times I had here as a child. Great spot for 👪 families ,today the water was dirty and conditions rough
John K — Google review
Less people and smaller than Bondi, but free. It’s a little muddy in the pool, I got tangled by some long hair on my face a few time. Pool is 30m length, about 150-180cm deep.
Jasper L — Google review
A truly beautiful part of the Sydney coast beaches where locals gather for their morning walk, swim or leisure activities. A must for any visitor to Sydney…..busses operate to the beach and after the beach effort endless cafes are provided to enjoy that serve up every dish you can dream of….make sure if swimming on the beach to STAY between the flags…..the rips in the sea can be very dangerous…..enjoy

A fun place to soak in the sun and take some nice photos. Paradise water and a cool man made pool that connects to the ocean. The crowd here was teenagers most were here hanging out in the pool. Some of them jumped from the high rocks into the pool. Definitely cool to see but there was barbed wire at the top where the kids were jumping so I have a feeling the authorities aren’t fans of this activity.
Mike O — Google review
My favourite place to swim in Sydney. Great 30 meter pool, with space for people wanting to do laps, and those who just want to soak up the water, rays and views. Has showers and toilets, can choose between beach swims in Bogey Hole, Gentleman's Hole or the beach. Extensive area of grass or sand on the beach Choose your own adventure

The Hermitage Foreshore Walk is a lesser-known coastal trail in Sydney that offers a unique and tranquil experience for both locals and tourists. While it may not be as popular as other well-known walks in the area, this hidden gem provides stunning views of Sydney Harbour and features several small, beautiful beaches along its approximately 2-kilometer route. The track starts at Tivolli Avenue, easily accessible from Rose Bay wharf, and ends near Watsons Bay Hotel.
Beautiful walk from Nielsen Park all the way to Rose Bay. A few small and private beaches along the way. The only place where to buy some food or refreshments is at the final destination in Rose Bay. Amazing views!!

super easy trail and has one of the best lookouts in Sydney with views of many beaches, there’s picnic spots throughout the walk too!

Beautiful casual walk along the coastline of Sydney harbour. Nice views of the city and few small beaches ⛱️ on the way. The walk can be for all ages. We enjoyed a swim at Sharks Beach, which has a shark net.

Hermitage Foreshore walk is an incredible way to explore the views from Vaucluse especially during sunset. Lovely easy hike with a good path. It's even more beautiful during spring. I love to go here during the afternoons until sundown and the sunset is just breathtaking. A lot of couples and groups go here to enjoy the sunset <3
Abie R — Google review
It was a beautiful scenic walk with plenty of lookout points to enjoy the harbour views, and we even stopped at one spot to watch the sunset over the harbour bridge, which was absolutely stunning. If you are not driving, just make sure to plan your walk according to the 325 bus schedule as there is only one bus to city every half an hour and there are only few buses scheduled after sunset.

Hermitage Foreshore walk starts Belevue st Rose Bay and finishes at Nielson Park Vaucluse. There are a number of spectacular beaches ⛱️ with amazing Sydney harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera views 😀 it started raining 🌧 so I didn't get far this time. I was going to Hermitage beach for a swim. Highly recommended 👌 👍 one of Sydney's hidden gem's

A hidden gem of a walk. Takes about 90 mins Catch ferry to rose bay from circular Quay. The track starts at the bottom of Tivolli Avenue about a 15 minute walk from the wharf The track is well laid out with spectacular views of Sydney harbour whilst walking past historic houses The track ends at Robinson Park near the Watsons Bay Hotel, great for lunch or cleansing ale.

Great walk along the coast with amazing views on Sydney city. The walk is easy and accessible to everyone. We did it on a Sunday morning and it was perfect. It took us approximately 1 hour. We stop at the end at Shark Bay to have lunch. Think about taking some water with you.

Had an amazing lunch cruise Sydney harbour. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was delicious. Views were up close and spectacular.

Had a okay time on our cruise lunch today would’ve been much better if there wasn’t a bunch of loud women with their boombox speaker carrying on yelling singing assaulting the staff ramming there chairs into the back of our chairs while we’re trying to eat other than that the food was nice. The fruit and cakes was lovely. They catered for my mother‘s needs as she has dietary requirements.

Plenty of beautiful fresh food, great choices of alcohol. The route captured the wonderful attractions of the harbour including the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The commentary didn't stay on the entire 2 hour trip but was enough to keep us looking all around us. The weather was perfect and after lunch we sat out on the top deck enjoying the sites and the fresh sea air.
Tessie B — Google review
On the 16/01/18 our Family invited our friends from USA to have a highly advertised Sydney Harbor seafood lunch together. We all were seduced by the company very effective advertising which displayed a good variety of Australian seafood including Crabs, Salmon, large Oysters and presumably not the worst sparkling wine, obviously properly corked. Our American friends certainly spoiled by good seafood and by Californian sparkling in USA had driven saliva to meet with Australian hospitality. The Reality was absolutely frustrating. The variety and quality of food differed dramatically from those on the shining advertising pamphlet, There were neither Crabs nor Salmon on the table. Oysters and prawns in contrary to those advertising were of the smallest size ever seen by each member of our group. Instead of at least reasonable sparkling we were served poorly gassed very ordinary wine in strange bottles closed with metal screw cups. Neither of us ever seen sparkling wine closed by metal cups. On advertising pamphlet however properly corked Sparkling wine were photographed. We feel much ashamed for Australian hospitality. We could not believe in what happened. Our frustrated American friends from Colorado referred this practice to as a Fraud and said that in USA this cruise company will pay tickets cost back just to avoid litigation. What a perfect way to get to know Sydney! Saracen and the Skipper were fantastic hosts for our small group. Cruising past the Opera House, seeing the stunning homes of those with too much money and having an intimate lunch, all with a bottomless drink in hand was such a wonderful way to spend our afternoon. Even with it being a nearly 4-hour tour, there was not a single moment when we wished it was cut shorter. From exquisite food, views to die for and lots of interesting information, it was truly a memorable and extremely enjoyable day! Thanks guys!
