Japanese restaurant
Kodawari Ramen (Tsukiji) is a ramen restaurant that offers a unique dining experience with its fish-based broth and decor inspired by the old Tokyo fish market. The restaurant's ambiance reflects the picturesque setting of a Japanese fish market, complete with artificial displays of overflowing fish crates and ice. The menu features an exclusive selection of seafood-focused ramen options, such as Brittany sardine, scallop and yuzu, and monkfish with sea herbs.
We got lunch here before visiting the louvre. There was a line out the door at 12:30 but we were seated quickly! The place is packed and you’re immediately transported to Tokyo - the decor is amazing. We tried the classic (sardine) and creamy (sea bream) ramen. It was so tasty - never had sardines in ramen before and it was very memorable.

Reliving the atmosphere of a Japanese fish market right in the heart of Paris, that’s exactly what Kodawari Ramen Tsukiji offers. From the moment you step inside, the details are incredible: the sounds, the lights, the decor… you truly feel transported. The ramen is delicious and full of flavor. I tried the sea bream broth, light, rich with an egg, and perfectly balanced, and the noodles were cooked just right. The staff are friendly and professional, and the service runs smoothly even when it’s busy. It does get crowded, especially on weekends, so be prepared to wait a bit, or try early dinners, but it’s absolutely worth it. The whole experience feels authentic and full of life. Enjoy 😊

An exceptional spot in Paris — probably the best ramen I’ve ever had in my life. The fact that we waited an hour and a half to get in didn’t bother us at all, because the reward of tasting that menu was absolutely worth it. I recommend it without hesitation. If I lived in Paris, I’d be there every week. A unique place with a distinctive concept and décor. The food is simply unforgettable. It’s worth the wait — just make sure to scan the QR code at the entrance to join the waiting list before getting in line.

This place is honestly one of the best ramen places I’ve ever been to! The moment you walk in, it feels like you’re in a fish market, the vibe is so cool and detailed. The ramen is incredible. It’s rich broth, chewy noodles, and everything just comes together perfectly. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. It’s such a great experience overall, definitely a must-visit when you’re in Paris!
Little G — Google review
We have never been to Japan, but we are big fans of Japanese food. The concept of this restaurant was amazing: sitting by a “fishing dock,” with boat equipment around, the sound of water, the boat engine, and the staff speaking loudly in Japanese — probably talking about fishing, the sea, and boats. It was incredibly interesting. I had never experienced anything like this before, and I loved the whole atmosphere. The noise, the friendly chaos, the warm and kind staff, and the perfectly balanced design details all made it very special. The recorded sound was at the perfect level, the details were thoughtful, and even the staff’s voices and coordination felt authentic. It became one of my best Japanese restaurant experiences ever. For a moment, I felt like I was living in Japan, right by the water, next to real fishermen. Unbelievable — and of course, the food was excellent, and the Japanese cola was a lovely touch.
Doni — Google review
Hidden behind an unassuming door is a whole Japanese fish market! 🐟🇯🇵 The moment you step inside, it feels like you’ve been transported straight to Japan — from the bustling background sounds to the lively shouts of Japanese fishmongers. The atmosphere is insanely realistic and immersive! I ordered the classic Shoyu Ramen de Sardine, and it was amazing — sardines with rich pork bone broth, perfectly chewy noodles, and a deep, savory flavor. One of the most authentic ramen experiences I’ve had outside of Japan. 🍜 The decor deserves special mention. You can tell the owner put so much heart into it — fish crates, a retro ’90s dial phone, a small TV looping Japanese commercials, even a slightly dirty dishcloth in the corner (in the best nostalgic way!). Every detail feels intentional and true to the theme. Overall, an absolutely stunning ramen spot. If you love Japanese vibes and authentic flavors, this place is a must-visit! 🌊✨
JUAN L — Google review
After exploring dozens if not hundreds or ramens in Tokyo, New York, and numerous well rated places globally , I think this is one of the best experiences I ever had. The setting is unique and beautiful and the gimmick of the decor is well balanced so you feel it’s unique and not over done. The queue is well managed and advanced - especially in that quarter and the food itself is really good and rich- the menu is unique in the local ramen scene as well. I can’t rate this high enough - go if you are in the area
Assaf D — Google review
This place is incredibly overhyped given the Instagrammable vibes and, let's face it, 95% of diners are tourists. That said, if you can weather through the incredible line, the ridiculously long wait (or go off-hours during colder months), the horrendous service and the fact that you'll be packed like sardines in tables with fake fish installations, you'll discover that their ramen is actually pretty damn good. Don't bother with the "open style gyoza"; focus your efforts on the ramen with their unique fish-based broth. It's genuinely worth trying.

Neko Ramen is a cozy restaurant that offers a warm and charming ambiance, serving traditional Japanese dishes and, of course, delicious ramen. The decor is delightful with Japanese elements such as cherry blossoms and umbrellas adorning the ceilings. The chef, originally from France, trained in the art of ramen-making in Japan before bringing his expertise back to Paris.
I wandered into this place at lunchtime when it was busy. Staff were rushed off their feet, but honestly made me feel so welcomed and found me a table. Food was delivered fast, fresh and hot considering how busy it was, I found it to be a bit bland in flavor initially but that's what some soy sauce was for- when I added a little bit from the bottle on the table was just what my soul was begging for. Hearty, comforting, easy to eat. I love the table pay app as well- a great touch for introverts to avoid queuing. The decor is lovely too. Cannot fault.
T M — Google review
Nestled in the vibrant 6 Rue de la Grange Bateliere, Neko Ramen is a go-to spot for ramen lovers seeking a cozy yet lively atmosphere. Be ready for a bustling experience during lunch hours, as this place attracts a crowd of both locals and visitors eager to dig into some hearty bowls. The service is commendable, with friendly staff ready to take your order and ensure you feel welcome, even when the place is packed. When it comes to the ramen, the portions are generous, and the broth delivers good flavor. However, the taste can be a bit of a hit and miss depending on your palate. The noodles have a chewiness to them that some might find a little tough, but they’re still enjoyable. The highlight for me was the pork slices; they were tender and packed with flavor, making them a great complement to the dish. If you're in the mood for ramen and don’t mind a little crowd, this spot is worth a try. Just know that while some elements shine, there might be a few things that could use tweaking.

A very cozy place in the middle of le Passage Verdeau. The ambiance is nice and I loved sitting outside in the corridor. We ordered the karaage, the yakisoba, a tonkotsu ramen, a shio ramen and a katsudon. For drinks, we had the yuzu highball and the neko blossom. When we got the food, we were all impressed by the presentation. Nice and colourful, all very inviting. The highlight was for sure the karaage. Big and juicy pieces of chicken with a nice mayo sauce with some cabbage. Plus, we loved the yuzu highball and the neko blossom, both very flavourful. Those are the three things I highly recommend! The shio ramen was light and tasty. The chicken was also on point. The yakisoba was pretty good, but the soba felt overcooked(?) so the noodles were soggy. Not a big deal really. The katsudon had a nice taste. Finally for the tonkotsu ramen. I came with high expectations considering the chef seems to have studied in Japan. The broth lacked the distinct sweet or umami taste that tonkotsu ramen should have. Instead, it was just salty. The noodles didn’t really feel like the ramen noodles I’m used to. Instead of chewy, it kind of just breaks down after every bite. And for the porc, I guess it’s my fault for expecting chashu because that’s what usually comes with tonkotsu ramen. Instead, I got pieces that lacked the soy sauce/mirin/sake marinade taste. On the other hand, it was well cooked. I’m sure that the menu was adapted to the french palate so I don’t want to say that it was bad, just not to my liking I guess. I’m only speaking by what I experienced in Japan and all the ramen locations we have back home in Montreal, which were also made by Japanese chefs (and were closer in taste to Japan). Bref, very reasonable prices for the quantity that we got and quick service. We were all well satiated by the end of our meal.

Though it is called Neko Ramen, I am not sure ramen is their strongest suit. I ordered a Shio ramen for lunch and I personally find the noodles overcooked and the broth rathe blend. And I only got a spoon (?) for my dish 😅 so I had to ask for a pair of chopsticks. Saw the girls next to me ordered some sort of fried chicken and it looked really good. Perhaps I should try something else next time, just not ramen 🤔. Another thing to note is that the portion is on the small side, so if you are hungry please do take their formula so you are also getting rice or entree on the side.
Louisa C — Google review
The ramen is amazing but the service is terrible. The waiter took very long to take our order, later they brought my friend his beer but forgot my drink, and our ramen came before the appetizer, which still hasn’t arrived while I’m writing this review. Good food, but with this service I wouldn’t come back again since there are plenty of other ramen places around. Part 2… contd Finally got the waiter’s attention after 10 minutes... They confirmed they forgot my drink and didn’t even punch in the appetizer.
Jeff Y — Google review
Very recommended place for having a traditional Japanese food. Food was delicious! I took the ramen with chicken and add some spicy to it. As well we took the gyoza and it was delicious too. The service was good, we were served quickly and kindly. The place had a lovely atmosphere with Japanese writing and decorations. Overall great experience, I recommend for people who never had ramen before and for people who already had in the past!
Kobi G — Google review
AVOID this place if you don’t want DIARRHOEA. Food was not fresh. If you checked some of the reviews properly and not the cover up reviews, you will see all the bad reviews about this place. Food tasted really horrible. Tonkotsu ramen was bland, noodles used are frozen and there was weird smell. And the worst thing is that foods here gave us FOOD POISONING. Customers service was not very pleasant. Staff aren’t rude but not at all attentive. I saw Chef and waiting staff having snacks behind the ramen bar which i find it very unhygienic. Nothing wrong with eating but not during service as not between serving customers. A lot of customers near my table waited a while to get the staffs’ attention just to order to get, drinks or bills. I think owners or managers should try and improve the hygiene level, food flavours and customer service asap instead of focusing on getting good reviews to cover up the true and honest feedback about this business.
P K — Google review
Ordered the shoyu ramen with toppings. Very delicious broth with good dept of flavour. Toppings were fresh and added a good variety in flavour and texture. Very fast and friendly service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious asian meal, even if you are on a budget.

Naritake Ramen is a cozy, wood-lined spot in Paris known for its Japanese noodle soups and gyoza dumplings. The restaurant offers two main types of ramen: Shoyu Ramen with a lighter broth and Miso Ramen with a rich miso-based broth. Customers can customize their soup by choosing toppings, thickness, and seasoning intensity.
I found out this restaurant from a vlog. I tried Misho Ramen and it totally blew my mind. Gzoya is very fresh and well done. They make noodle themselves and the soup is tasty. I enjoyed the way they make everything themselves and the taste is pretty great. The soup could be very salty if you are not a fan of salt, but you can order a white soup for free to make the soup less salted. I always do that every times I came and its perfect to me. However it is a small restaurant, just less than 25 seats. You might have to wait for at least 10 minutes to get a table. Even though you have to wait for a table the staff will still give you a menu and ask for your orders to save time the best they can. Maybe you can find some interesting ways to see how the chef cooks their awesome Ramen through the window while you wait. This is the best ramen restaurant that I have ever tried in Paris. Highly recommend and definetly want to come back over again.
Mandy P — Google review
Tiny place located in the Japanese area near Rue Saint-Anne. Depending on time of day or night, there may be a line. This place was super busy on a Wednesday evening 930pm. The wait was not too long even with a line; it was near closing time. Open kitchen lined by L- shape seating and a few seats in front of the window. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. Ordered the miso ramen, normal consistency (which I believe refers to the thickness of the broth), with an egg added. Présentation and smell were appealing to the senses. Broth itself was flavorful and thick. The miso flavor didn't really come through too much. If you're used to lighter salt in your diet, then this will be salty for you. It was nice to watch the chef's process in making the ramen to order. 🙂
Lily L — Google review
Their ramen is extremely rich so be prepared. Very strong flavor and very thick soup. Lots of topping so it fills you up. Service is fast and quick too. However €18 for a bowl of ramen might feel a bit overpriced but it is Paris.
Sayaka S — Google review
If you wand to avoid the lunch queue, I would go there 30 minutes before the service starts (12.00). We arrived at 12.00 and there was such a long queue already, we had to queue for 40 minutes… but knowing the size of the restaurant and how lean the service is, it is quite understandable. I have to say it is definitely worth the wait, it’s one of the best ramen restaurants in Paris, the broth has a flavorful umami depth, without being too salty or thick like typical ramen soup can be, the noodles are al dente. The seaweed provides the broth a touch of marine taste. The bowl took me instantly back to Kyoto!
Poleen H — Google review
Excellent authentic ramen place. Super busy and be prepared to queue. Excellent service from the busy staff. We ordered two special miso ramens. The noddles were the perfect texture, and the broth was packed full of flavour. You are given a choice of light , medium, strong tasting soup. Obviously the broth goes stronger tasting and thicker as you go up. I would recommend light or at most medium for people going for the first time. N.b if the broth is too strong for you - you can order more plain pork broth to dilute it. Very impressed.
Tony T — Google review
The ramen tastes good. I give the overall taste 4 star. However, the soup is too salty. With too salty, I mean it's as salty as sea water. I know that I can ask for broth to dilute the saltiness but it doesn't make sense why the restaurant doesn't serve it less salty by default and let the people add more salt or whatever special sauce when they want. I chose normal level of pork fat and it turned out to be a little bit fattier than other restaurant but it's still in a good range and I like it. However, for the next time, I'll choose less fat. I minus one star because they don't receive ticket restaurant. The restaurant is quite small and the queue will be very long if you come late.
Nattapol K — Google review
BEST ramen I’ve had in my life. I crave it all the time. It is worth the wait. I’ve eaten here 3 times. A bowl costs 14€. My favourite is the soya based ramen (white bowl) however the miso based one (black bowl) is great as well. If you’re Asian and you like your ramen broth salty go for the “kotteri” level of intensity. 100% recommended. It’s always a great meal here.
Dhivenya R — Google review
Excellent ramen restaurant. We waited for 15 min to get in at 1:30 on a Sunday. They took our order when we were still in line, so we got the ramen soon after seated, which is awesome. We ordered Miso (sappari) and Shoyu ramen (normal) and both were good. Their chashu pork was excellent.

Hakata Choten is a cozy venue with a striking red and black interior that exudes warmth. The restaurant specializes in tonkotsu ramen, a rich pork bone-broth noodle soup that is simmered for 24 hours to perfection. With around twelve variations of tonkotsu ramen on offer, each bowl comes with flavorful toppings like barbecued pork, grilled garlic, and soft-boiled egg.
Just a couple of minutes' stroll from either metro station 14 or 3, this spot is a hidden gem for ramen lovers! They really cater to diners who want to savor their meal without feeling rushed. The service was outstanding; I was pleasantly surprised when they let me finish my gyoza before bringing out my ramen. It’s so refreshing to experience a place that understands the importance of a relaxed dining experience! Now, let's talk food! The ramen exceeded all expectations and truly met the standards of authentic Asian cuisine. The broth was rich and packed with a wonderful sweetness from the bones, while the noodles struck that perfect balance—not too thick or soft—just how I like them. If you’re in the area, you definitely don’t want to miss this delicious experience!

Authentic Hakata ramen in downtown Paris , 17-20 euros, worth every cent. Soup tastes just right, noodles of the right texture and temperature is just right . The pork is perfectly cooked. Don’t go there for the decor but for the food.

Anything we had was amazing and super tasty but their Ramen was the star. There was a short queue outside, but we were served pretty quickly.
Dara — Google review
OMG! 😱 Possibly, the best ramen I've ever had. I took the special one, with black and red sauce, and egg. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the broth super tasty and the black and red sauces, amazingly good. We also had some gyoza, and they were also excellent. A bit crispy on the base, super good. The service was super friendly and reasonably fast. The only thing that was not very good was the room. It was too hot inside, and no AC. Only a small fan far away, and a window slightly open. I'm adding this restaurant to my favorites, and will come back for sure.

We had the Tonkatsu ramen. Happy to finally had some authentic Japanese Ramen in Europe. Tasty soup, springy noodles, tender pork. Water is served. We came at the opening hour and there wasn't a queue but the restaurant fills up quickly.

Delicious food and great service. Everything came out quickly and just as we ordered. We happened to make it right before evening rush started and were seated quickly. We were near the door though, which made it a bit cold, but the food warmed us right up.

I could put less stars because there is one vegetarian option which is deceiving. But I put 5 because i was surprised of how good the only vegetarian option was. I really recommend this place and i hope one day there will be more vegetarian even VEGAN options there.

Ippudo is a renowned Japanese ramen chain that was established in 1985 and has expanded to numerous cities worldwide. In recent years, it has opened three locations in Paris, offering a variety of ramen categorized as classic, modern, and spicy.
We went with three friends and preferred Akamaru, Karaka, Tori Shoyu. We also tried fried gyoza. We think fried gyoza is a great starter with its sauce, it is not heavy or oily at all, it is very nice. We also liked the ramen very much. They were very tasty and did not bother us during our trip even after we were full. However, although we asked for spicy, they were not spicy at all, so it was like I was drinking chicken soup, especially with Tori. The noodles they put in it are really incredible! We definitely recommend adding extra noodles, it was one of the most delicious noodles we have ever eaten. The staff is very attentive and even let us charge our phones! It has a nice atmosphere and from what we understand from other customers inside, Japanese people also like to eat here ^^ We liked it, we recommend you to try it.

Delicious ramen and chicken rice. Came here on a Sunday night, not crowded, so easy to chat with friends. The restaurant is cozy and the service is good.

Food is acceptable. Waitress to tonight was dishonest. Added extra boiled egg to the meal when there was already included one. 26 euros for a bowl of ramen with meagre slices of porc roti, and nori. Noodles not the best. Last time I go.

I felt really welcome and comfortable here. We came for dinner on two evenings during our stay in Paris. On the first day I had chicken shoyu, and on the second day I tried zaru ramen. Both were light and tasty. My husband had the Akamaru and was impressed that it tasted just like Ippudo in Japan. They also have a kids’ menu! My children really liked the fried dumplings.

Great Ramen. The best I found in Paris so far. The broth was really good and so were the toppings, but a special callout to the perfectly cooked noodles. I took the ”spicy” Ramen which was excellent, even though I would say it was particularly spicy. Space is tight and tables close to each other, so not a place if you want to have a nice dinner for two.

Absolutely stunning! A great and very tasty ramen in Paris! What more can you ask for? Beer? Well, they have it as well!
Francky — Google review
Waited in line for an hour before we got our table. Food arrived pretty quickly. This is a casual ramen place with quick turnover. Recommend going in pairs or solo because tables are small. The spicy pork broth was thick and delicious - loved the mushrooms. The veggie broth however lacked flavor and was boring. The desserts were amazing - get the chocolate one. Ramen can cost up to €19. Fun experience overall!

Decent ramen place the broth was not as elaborate as i have seen. Chicken buns were delicious. i would skip the octopus balls. mostly dough. decent but no repeat for me.

Japanese restaurant
Menkicchi Ramen is a cozy eatery located in Sainte-Anne, offering a cheerful dining room with an anime library. The tiny, well-decked-out ramen spot features homemade noodles in succulent chicken and pork broth, topped with dried seaweed, nitamago egg, and tender chashu pork slices. Known for its minimalistic approach, the restaurant offers only three ramen options and a selection of beers.
Very tasty authentic ramen with decent portion of food and they are generous on giving the soup, which I like it a lot. The only downside is it’s a little too salty (egg as well) which makes it overall heavy after eating. The spicy ramen is not spicy at all. The fried dumpling and Karaage are both very tasty and juicy! Long queue is expected but definitely worth it!
Chris Z — Google review
This may have been one of the best vegetarian ramens I have ever had. No need to order kae-dama they put plenty of noodles in and the broth is very hot and very tasteful! I got the veggie miso ramen with added egg & garlic.

The best ramen you can get in Paris! The quality of the producta was really high, the ramen were delicious, big portions, great value for money. I highly recommend it if you want a Vegetarian ramen , otherwise options with pork. Cute, small restaurant, good service

One of the best Karaage ever! I had Miso Ramen und was delish too🥰😋
Dance Y — Google review
Ramen was decent. Not really the type of ramen I had in Japan or north america but still tasty. Could be the difference in ingredients. The noodle, especially, was not like any other ramen noodle i've had before. Taste and texture was more akin to pasta than ramen. However, the biggest disappointment, in otherwise a perfectly acceptable dining experience, was the fact that they added a tip to my credit card bill. I understand this is illegal in France. I may be wrong. However, businesses should not treat tourist customers as someone they can easily target and treat differently from locals. So for tourists, I would not recommend.

I recently visited Menkicchi Ramen and it was a great experience. The restaurant is tiny and does not accept reservations so we had to wait for 1 hour outside and it was 0 degrees. Other than that, the service is quite nice and quick! The waiters are always smiling and the atmosphere is okay. The chefs cook in front of you its quite nice to watch them. The food is delicious, thick and their is good flavour. There is two options if you don’t eat pork and this is quite limiting. Portions are generous and quite fair prices. I recommend to visit it but if you don’t eat pork try to find other places as there is no beef or chicken Ramen.
Hadi J — Google review
Small, but a gem! Tried their shio, shoyu, miso, all had a hint of different catch to it. The pork is so soft and good. The broth paired well with the thick ramen. Recommend to give it a try.

I encountered some hygiene issues during my recent visit. Unfortunately, I found myself chewing on an elastic band in the ramen, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, the toilet was dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor. The food was overly salty too.

Sanjo is a cozy spot located in the heart of Paris' Japanese district near Rue Saint Anne. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional Japanese dishes, with a menu that changes monthly. The decor is simple yet chic, allowing the focus to be on the delicious food. They serve an array of ramen options, from classic pork to spicy variations, as well as delectable gyoza and refreshing yuzu sorbet for dessert.
Delicious ramen restaurant, probably one of the best in Paris where the quality didn't decline with the years. The place is modern but small, so depending on the hour the wait may be long (note that you can't book a table). The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Margot — Google review
Ramen was done really well, and for the first time in France, they got it right when I asked for hard noodles. Broth is good but not wow. I had the yuzu chicken broth. Was expecting a more creamy chicken broth, the one you’ll get by cooking the broth really long. Yuzu taste was very faint, besides the dollop of yuzu kosho added on the top. Service was ok but could be improved. I was alone and could have been placed at the counter earlier, instead of waiting along with other bigger groups.
Jeremy Y — Google review
I took tan tan ramen, it was ok. The noodles were a bit thicker but it was spicy enough for a tantan compared to my expectation The sashimi does not worth the price so I don’t recommend it. The gyoza was nice with the sauce.

Very Japanese local flavor Always a long queue, need to wait for a little bit. The timing is acceptable (lunch time). Ramen is tasty.

Great food and great service! Broth is authentic and flavourful, would recommend. I asked for recommendation and their classic is the chicken / pork ramen with broth. Really good and around 20€ I recommend :)
Anne — Google review
A laid back walk in authentic Japanese restaurant. We had a good time here, the food was fine, our yuzu ramen was not as expected but the tuna and salmon bowl was great. It would be nice to have more drink by glass options. Overall, the service was good and atmosphere was also nice and not too loud. a great place to hang out with friends.
Rina F — Google review
Was recommended this place by a friend and was excited to see yuzu ramen on the menu. Last time I tried was at Afuri in Tokyo and it was quite an interesting experience so I wanted to try it again. The soup was a chicken soup base with quite a strong flavour of yuzu, it wasn’t as heavy as the usual ramen soup as the yuzu gives it a very clean and healthy flavour. Noodles were cooked perfect and loved the ajitama, it was just the right amount of saltiness and melts in your mouth. Simple goodness but it’s not always done very well. Overall, I would say it’s one of the best ramens I’ve had in Paris, would definitely visit again to tried the normal ramen. The place gets busy quickly during lunch hours even on weekdays from the office crowds. Recommend visiting on the dot when the place opens.

Kadoya Ramen is a newly established restaurant in the Little Tokyo district of Paris, having opened its doors in the summer of 2018. Originating from Osaka and with presence in Milan and Valencia, Kadoya aims to elevate the traditional ramen experience. The menu boasts a dozen variations of this classic dish, including fried chicken ramen, salt-based broth, and silky ramen with soy sauce. Visitors can expect new flavors and variety at this establishment.
The food was really good, the chicken and udon were delicious, overall recommend but you might have to wait a bit in the line
Yeva T — Google review
The soup is not even hot and contains some stuck-together noodles. This isn’t ramen; it’s just instant noodles with a mediocre taste. When I told the server there was something in the soup, he didn’t seem bothered at all.

i am not a big fan of ramen soup but since i was within the area and it was cloudy (bit rainy too), so i decided to have a ramen soup. This is my 2nd time in this authentic japanese restaurant..Last time was in 2022. Soup was served in 10mins. It was good, with freshly cooked ingrédients and meat. not salty at all like most of my past ramens. Waitress was so corteous . Will try a non ramen dish if ever i come back🤞.

My go-to for Japanese comfort food. I love everything about this restaurant. Dishes are served piping hot. Tasty and generous serving.
Marge M — Google review
I recently visited Kadoya, a Japanese restaurant in Paris, specifically to try their ramen. With the winter chill in the air, we were craving something familiar, hot, and spicy, and ramen seemed like the perfect choice. We visited during late lunch, and the space was really small but cozy. We had the warmest waitress who was very patient and attentive to our demands. Most of our table ordered the Tantanmen, which consists of minced turkey, vegetables, pork slices, peanuts, and sesame. This dish was marked as spicy on the menu. The rest of the table opted for the Spicy Tori Paitan, which features ramen with fried chicken slices, egg, and vegetables, and is also considered spicy. Unfortunately, my Tantanmen did not live up to its spicy promise. Even after being offered extra pepper, it lacked the zing I was hoping for. This was one of those meals where I wished I had my pepper sauce with me. However, we made the best of it, and while the soup was nice-ish, it could have been much better with more pepper. I understand that French cuisine doesn't typically include the level of spice we enjoy in West Africa, but I believe that catering to a diverse crowd should include having actual hot sauce available for those who prefer it. The restaurant has only one restroom, which is pretty rustic but cute nonetheless. Overall, I would rate my experience at Kadoya a 5/10.
Daisy C — Google review
The people there are very friendly and so parient they helped us through and the food was so tasty we really liked it 😋😋😋 The chicken ramen and the noodles with shrimps were very tasty

Kadoya was a spur of the moment decision while we were in Paris and I will say if you are in need of a solid, quick, and fulfilling meal I wouldn’t hesitate to go here. We had a positive experience overall with the food being good, the staff being friendly, and us leaving full and satisfied.

Not a fan of "Japanese Food" places run by non-Japanese... They always mix flavors...And while that can sometimes be a good thing in the hands of a true chef, most of the time it's just confusing. Sweet Chili dipping sauce for shrimp tempura is a crime. The wrong tempura batter is a crime. My friend's pan fried whole dorado was no longer fresh and made him sick for a day.

Very good traditional japonais food in sainte Anne street in Paris. I have been there several times and will go beach again. The food is actually very good if you like Asian and notably the japonais food. The service is very quick, but not caring. Most of the time there is a line outside that you have to wait 10-20 minutes. No reservations needed. The ambiance is just ok. Enjoy!

I always see people lining up for this resto and finally tried it yesterday. The food was really average, yakisoba was okay, the ramen soup was too salty. For the price it didn’t hurt to try, but it’s not a place I’d line up for.
Chun L — Google review
Came just right at the time they open 11.30am. Already few people obviously as hungry as I am. First time here. Selected Menu A @€15: Shiosu ramen + 7 Gyosa Gyosa was good but not fried enough. The ramen soup was well seasoned and flavored though the noodle was more a Chinese egg noodle than Japanese true ramen. It was tasty though a bit shy of another slice of meat (probably because it’s the menu). The service was very fast and efficient and no unnecessary talk. It’s definitely more of eat and go than taking all the time in the world.

We ordere shio l/ramen, miso ramen, and gyoza, and all are good. The broth is clean yet flavorful, not too heavy. The noodles taste fresh, a little bit clumpy, but I think it’s because it’s homemade. The gyoza is really good, very recommended! I have been to several good ramen places and I like this place so much. The place might be very hot in a summer day, it was 26 °C when I visited and it was barely bearable.

Dosanko Larmen is a small and cozy restaurant that resembles the traditional Japanese culinary shops. The space is limited, and diners eat at the counter, surrounded by the aroma of hot pork broth and steaming noodles. Despite its petite size, it offers an authentic experience reminiscent of a journey to Japan. The menu features various ramen options, including vegetarian choices, with the Miso Rouge Royal being highly recommended.
Loved it. The place is small and can feel cramped, but the food is worth it. Very friendly people. Ramen that had me salivating. It was so so good. The prices are very fair and I'm looking forward to going back some day.

Certainly not among the best places to serve ramen in Paris. They're not bad, but not traditional either. However, this place is open until quite late at night, which is a clear plus to get dinner outside of the usual working hours. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean but small, quite packed during the day.

My favorite ramen place in Paris. Ramen is very easy to find in the neighbourhood but not like the non-authentic Chinese owned restaurants, this one is the real thing. Special recipe for winter (with black sesames) and cold (no broth) ramen for summer. The gyoza tastes homemade. The big bowl is h-u-g-e so choose wisely Friendly staff, no minimum for credit card payment. Non-stop service and no reservation.

Cute little ramen noodle shop. There was a line when I got there but the wait was well worth it! Ordered the small bowl and it was still a lot to eat. Price was not over the top and beer was nice and cold. Chefs and staff were very friendly with everyone and broth was perfect. Highly recommend and will be back next year.

best ramen in Paris!! I don't like anything too salty and choosing Tsutaya is a reasonable choice for me. The small portion was enough for me, the staff said that the large portion would be a lot and you have to be hungry enough and have a big stomach if you want to finish it. Plus, we were lucky because we didn't have to wait in line this time (they're so popular that there's always a long line) and their flavors proved the wait was worth it!

Bistro Ramen Ryukishin is a contemporary venue with a wood-lined terrace that offers a variety of ramen bowls, tsukemen dipping noodles, and sake. This establishment is more than just an institution; it's the place to go for delicious ramen prepared by authentic Japanese chefs.
The hot ramen was really good—the sesame and sesame oil gave it a nice, distinctive flavor. The fried dumplings were also excellent and definitely worth ordering.
張維晴 — Google review
Quite a ramen fan and been to many places worldwide. For 20 euros one would not expect such a small serving of ramen, the paper thin chicken / duck meat taste like those ready-made salad meat from supermarket, the use of raw coarsely chopped red onion pieces AND a slice of lemon are unusual for authentic Japanese ramen. Also uses spring onions instead of finely chopped Japanese leek. The noodles are average and on the soft side. The only saving grace is the pan fried gyoza. The ramen with thick soup is quite odd , the soup has the texture of salted cappuccino foam.
Mommy M — Google review
Not going to lie, I was disappointed after visiting this place for the second time in a few years. The sesame broth was super creamy and bland, really flat! I appreciate the starters and the tsukemen though, it’s well made and the karaage is lovely. Ramen lacks flavor though. But great service and atmosphere thanks to the wood and jazz.
Valentin M — Google review
My wife and I came to dine here on a Wednesday evening without a reservation and were luckily seated shortly. We were kindly greeted by who we later found out was the chef and sat right by the kitchen where we saw all the action. I ordered the thick broth ramen with house made chili oil and sesame paste and this was by far the best meal I had in Paris and dare I say.. maybe one of the best ramen bowls I’ve ever had in my life. It’s a bit heavier than my wife’s classic one with mussel oil but boy was I enjoying my ride to flavor town. Each bite and slurp was so heavenly and just the right amount of richness.. from the tender meats (2 birds (chicken & duck!) in 1 bowl), crunchy textures, & that amazing chicken broth, everything just complimented each other so well. I’m someone who loves a good crunch in my meal, and this one didn’t disappoint with the crunchy leek, chopped onions, and fresh bok choy! Ramen noodles were not too firm and not too soft, a perfect in between. I usually don’t like spicy (mild at the most) and anyone on the same boat doesn’t have to worry about that chili oil cause it only adds to the flavor without the burn. And that chicken broth… NEXT LEVEL! I had chicken broth ramen in Tokyo and though I love both, I might have to give extra brownie points for Ryukishin for the loaded party bowl and only 5 minute wait time to be seated on a busy night. We left completely satisfied and chef greeted us goodbye as we walked our happy, full bellies back to our hotel. Highly recommend for any ramen lover or first time visitor in Paris! You will not regret. Arigato!

Hot Ramen: 8.5/10 Cold Ramen: 6/10 Total: 7/10 We tried two ramen dishes during our visit—one hot, one cold—to get a feel for both ends of the menu. The hot ramen was quite solid. I’d give it an 8.5 out of 10. The broth was thick, creamy, and beautifully rich. I appreciated how the ingredients and broth were served separately—it kept everything vibrant and fresh until you combined them. That said, it could’ve used a touch more depth—maybe a hint of char, a smokier edge, or some darker miso flavor to round it out. Still, definitely enjoyable. The cold ramen, on the other hand, didn’t work for me at all. I would rate it a 6 out of 10. I can acknowledge the creativity and the interesting blend of flavors—it wasn’t boring—but the end result was far from tasty. It felt more like an experimental dish than something you’d expect to savor. Definitely not something I’d reorder. We also shared some boiled dumplings as an appetizer, which felt underwhelming, especially considering the overall bill came to around €40. The dumplings lacked impact and didn’t feel like a good value for the price point. Total score: 7 out of 10. While the experience had its high point with the hot ramen, the rest didn’t quite justify the cost. Probably wouldn’t return.

Edit: came back a year later to get the seasonal tomato ramen I was dreaming about all year (🤣) but sad to discover they changed the recipe. The broth is less rich, it felt like they added corn flour or some kind of thickener(??) I wasn’t a fan of the texture. I attached a photo so you can compare the color of the two. I hope they can bring back the vegan tomato ramen from before. It was a lot more flavorful. :( changing my rating from 5 stars to 4 because of this. Service was still great. ————————— Review from my first visit in 2024: A little pricey but really exceptional vegan ramen. Had the seasonal tomato vegan ramen with yummy toppings like asparagus and mushrooms, and the broth was so rich and creamy and flavorful. Might be the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had (even better than T’s TanTan in Tokyo which used to be my favorite). The vegetable tempura was also perfect, served with a special matcha sea salt. Service was lovely too. I’ll definitely be back!

The guy who showed us to our table was very friendly and welcoming, as for the waitress (the only waitress there) just had an attitude. Idk if is towards Americans or just in general. We try to learn the language and culture as we do to every country we visit. But you can tell she was just an order taker. You couldn’t ask her for recommendations if you did she sighed as if we are annoying her. If you’re looking for delicious ramen in Paris, this place is for you. It’s small, quaint, cozy, and is frequented by a lot of locals. I visited on a Wednesday and it was very crowded. We were looking for a restaurant In Paris late at night and found this restaurant. This was an awesome Asian Japanese restaurant. The food was excellent all items there cannot go wrong. We chose what the waitress recommended to us and she spoke excellent English and was very nice and kind and accommodating. Will try to look for this place again next time when we are in Paris.

Zen Restaurant Paris. A place where we can enjoy authentic japanese cuisine with a reasonable price in the heart of Paris. We got a set of fish bowls and a set of grilled salmon. Food was delicious and refreshing and perfect for ending the day. The dessert was surprisingly very delicious with Tofu and homemade jam. We would definitely go back again. Recommended.

Good taste, suffisant portion. Good price for lunch in the weekend. The staff is helpful. I would however prefer to use permanent chopsticks than disposable ones. The restaurant is small and very well located.

Everything was great. The zen menu is a fantastic way to get a good value for price. Got tonkatsu was perfect. The panko crevettes were good too! Service is wonderful. The tiramisu was super balanced not too sweet, just as it needs to be!

Went there on a rainy day, sat outdoors well covered from the rain. Service was good, unfortunate that a group of 6 Germans also looking to get cover from the rain sat behind us. Needless to say they were very loud. It made the experience subpar. Food was alright, above average maybe expectations were too high because of the Michelin big gourmand awards. Ordered the unagi set for 38 euros, feels a bit pricey for mostly rice. Probably won’t go back again but definitely not bad - deserving of a 3.5/5. Still better than 90% of Japanese restaurants in Rue st Anne.
Alex T — Google review
One of the most disappointing Japanese meals I’ve had. We decided to dine here after seeing the Michelin sign outside, expecting at least a decent experience. Unfortunately, most of the dishes we ordered with my family were extremely salty — especially the beef and pork rice bowls, which were almost inedible. The unagi (eel) rice tasted unmistakably like it came from a frozen pack, and the fish in general had a strong, unpleasant smell — like it had been frozen for months. I’ve had far better meals at basic chains like Yoshinoya in Tokyo — their 500-yen beef bowls are far superior. Even at the same price range in New York, you can find much better Japanese food. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place.

Eel is so amazing ! Everyone love it and really want to come back. The restaurant is so crowded on the day we went and they cant serve sushi since it will take too long

The sushi plate and chirashi bowl are very delicious with high quality fish! Lunch service might be a bit slow but it’s in city centre, so no complain. Highly recommend!

Ramen restaurant
Naruto Ramen is a cozy and culturally rich ramen shop located in the vibrant 9th arrondissement of Paris. The restaurant offers a striking red and black space where diners can enjoy Japanese ramen with red miso broth topped with beef or pork. Despite its modest facade, the interior provides a familiar yet exotic ambiance, inviting guests to savor the aromas of simmering broth and fresh noodles.
The food was delicious and arrived incredibly fast. We ordered starters and ramen, and everything was fresh and rich in flavor. The atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable, and we barely had to wait in line – it was just about 10 minutes. Definitely a great experience
1van's T — Google review
The portion of beef ramen (the royal one) was huge, very filling, the taste however didn’t meet my expectations. With the menu option we got 4 gyozas, chicken and vegetable, they were good. The service was not bad.
Cherine — Google review
I went to this place because my family wanted to try the ramen. I wasn’t sure if I was going to eat there at all since it was 80 degrees outside. But I ended up getting the rice and beef with edamame on the side, and the chicken bites for starters were really good. The menu has a barcode that you can scan to read the menu in English if you need it. My food was delicious, the service was good, and the ambiance was great.

The ramen was delicious and the gyoza were really tasty as well. Everything was served quickly and the service was excellent. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Best ramen I've eaten hands down. Rice and chicken are also good, but ramen is the best here
Dmytro A — Google review
I've eaten in probably hundred different ramen places, mostly in Japan, but also in Europe, and this was the absolute worst I have ever had. Since it's in a good spot, it was also the most expensive one at the same time. The whole staff is Chinese, and the ramen came with no meat and fried chicken on side, which you should mix with the soup, which never happens in Japan. The restaurant looks nice though which is why I ended up in there.

Basic ramen. Tasty, but not something special. They have to add some kicky flavours, like hot, savory, something. Too basic

Kokuban is a trendy and stylish restaurant offering Japanese mains, tapas, and aperitifs in the 9th and 8th arrondissements of Paris. The establishment aims to transport diners to Japan with its authentic flavors. It is known for serving delicious ramen and other Japanese specialties that attract both locals and tourists.
Cute and delicious Ramen restaurant very centrally located. The staff was very friendly and kind, the food was fast, reasonably priced and delicious. Definitely recommend it
Simone H — Google review
The ramen was alright but nothing special. The toppings weren’t very to my tastes, the vegetables were just spinach and bean sprouts which I wasn’t a huge fan of personally. But other than that the atmosphere and service was great.
Juju C — Google review
Not authentic, the shoyu ramen that I ordered was extremely salty and it looked more like Vietnamese noodle when the server put down my bowl of ramen. This is Parisian style Japanese ramen. Service was good though.

Everything was amazing, great prices for the portions offered and great hospitality. We definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back

Decent enough food but service was poor. No one bothered to acknowledge our existence as we walked in. Eventually found a table after asking at the bar (bar staff was nice and friendly though). Food order got messed up and only one of us got the ramen we ordered - the other one hadn’t been registered. By then kitchen had closed and we got a stand in/what was left but had to pay full price (got a shot of sake for free instead). Beer was lukewarm. They tried I guess…
Therese B — Google review
Honestly disappointed. A good reputation but not deserved. Once the waiter decided to come take our order, after 20 minutes of us sitting ready, we ordered two starters and three ramens. The starters came before our drinks. The karaage chicken was good, the gyozas were a bit under-seasoned. The ramen came before we had finished our starters and were very disappointing, no flavour, no varied ingredients and the noodles did not taste fresh. We then waited over 30 minutes for our empty dishes to be cleared. Sloppy service and flavourless food, Not worth the visit and definitely Not worth the price.

« Temple of Ramen » is how I describe my experience. There is a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant and the food is not only delicious, it touches you somehow. I highly recommend this place and look forward to tasting everything on the menu.

The rice of the don is not just warm, it's hot and freshly made. The sashimi on top became cooked fish!! Maybe the chef is not too experienced, he/she cut the raw fish in wrong direction with a not so sharp knife, the sashimi is like teared apart. Karaage is quite good... Service is not bad, but maybe understaffed.... Drinks are extremely slowly served, even bottled beer and canned drinks are not served in 20 mins, it applies to everyone in the restaurant, not just us.

Japanese restaurant
Japanos Ramen Bar is a hidden gem located in the Passage des Panoramas, offering delicious and authentic Japanese ramen. The small restaurant has a cozy izakaya atmosphere with counter seats where you can watch the chefs at work. The Tan Tan Ramen is highly recommended for its generous portion size and rich broth. Reservations are advised due to limited seating. Customers praise the Shoyu ramen for its amazing stock and perfect combination of noodles and buta shasu.
I recently visited Japanos Ramen Bar in Paris and had an excellent experience. The ramen was truly the highlight—rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and a balanced mix of flavors that left me wanting more. The overall menu featured good food with a variety of dishes that complemented the main attraction. I also enjoyed the creative mocktails, which were both refreshing and thoughtfully presented—a fun alternative to traditional drinks. The service was equally impressive, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure every detail of the meal was just right. Overall, Japanos Ramen Bar offers a delightful dining experience for anyone craving authentic Japanese ramen and more in Paris. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Nice restaurant ! The gyoza are delicious ! I’ve lived in Japan for 5 years and used to make them by myself and they taste just as good. Tested the curry and the ramen and they’re very nice without being so exceptional but still very tasty. The staff is nice and the food is not that overpriced considering we’re in Paris.

I had an amazing experience at this ramen restaurant! 🍜 The soup is absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The noodles have just the right texture, and the toppings complement the broth beautifully. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. The decorations are warm, stylish, and give the place such a cozy and inviting vibe. It’s the kind of spot where you can enjoy a comforting meal and also take in the beautiful ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure everything is perfect without being intrusive. Service was quick, and the food came out fresh and piping hot. As for the food, we had the Tori Katsudon, the Mayu Special, and the Shinmen Special ; all of them were excellent, with perfectly balanced flavors and generous portions. For dessert, we went with the yuzu cheesecake and the aloe vera ; both were so tasty and fresh. Definitely a place we highly recommend!

Le Cheval d'Or is an elegant and minimalist bistro that has been recently revived by a new team, including renowned chefs and wine experts. Located in Belleville since 1987, the restaurant offers a fusion of East Asian cuisine with French ingredients. The menu, curated by Chef Taku Sekine, features creative dishes such as whole roast duck and croque madame stuffed with lobster. The restaurant also boasts an excellent selection of natural wines and high-quality coffee.
This dinner lived up to the hype for us! We did the smaller tasting menu and am always curious how the portion sizing is for this type of menu, but the portions were perfect. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. The food was flavorful, interesting, and incredibly memorable. We had the seasonal asparagus, cucumber/strawberry dishes, tortellini, mushroom dumplings, pork chop, and strawberry pavlova dessert. The dessert was amazing!! The interior is beautiful and had great music playing. Only atmosphere cons were that it was almost too quiet and we were sat next in the corner next to the toilets and got wafts from the toilet area every now and then. Overall, would highly recommend for a memorable meal in Paris.

Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. The food was innovative and delicious, the staff were all very nice and helpful, the design, the service and the total experience - an absolute 10/10. Is it a little pricy, and definitely not an everyday restaurant? yes. Was is absolutely worth every euro? Absolutely. We had the 9 course dinner, which turned out to be more with some lovely extras like the shiitake-cucumber broth, the vanilla- passion fruit desert and more. Every dish was better than the previous. The dessert, although I am not usually a pavlova fan - was incredible. A must try.

The best meal I had in Paris! We did the 9 course tasting menu with some dietary restrictions and were taken for an incredible ride. I can be skeptical of Chinese-French fusion, but the balance, technique, and flavor here made it one of the best meals of my life. Some bites felt like being taken back to a familiar time and place, others were new and fresh and elevated. The service was genuinely warm and went above and beyond for my friends and I, and the space is so beautiful.
Jesi — Google review
We had a small group who were celebrating birthdays. The team were great at guiding us through the menu, we went with the 9 course degustation and then we had wines selected to go with the food. Every course was amazing. Every bottle of wine was a great complement to the food with relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back again when next in Paris.
Adam H — Google review
A close friend recommended the place to me & hyped it up slightly. The initial experience was fantastic, the dishes were both creative and blended French & Southern Chinese cuisine delicately - truly an impressive feat. I have been to many other Michelin-starred places that struggled to find this balance. However, the turning point happened during the Steamed Turbot, the fish was not descaled properly. Every bite I took had fish scales in them. While this would’ve been fine in the streets of Asia, I was expecting the attention to detail at the level of a fine restaurant. Flagged this to the waitress and nothing happened, which was really disappointing. Truly felt sorry for the chef, proper descaling is critical & should not be overlooked though.
Zhan G — Google review
One of a kind meal. We had the 5 course meal with amuses which was a great introduction to the French-Chinese cuisine. Friendly staff and a great sommelier!
Willem G — Google review
Totally incredible dinner from start to finish. Every dish was impossibly better than the last. The staff were so attentive and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Easily the best restaurant we visited in Paris. Genuine 10/10. Merci beaucoup!
Leonora M — Google review
The three of us opted for the tasting menu and it was delicious - unique!! You will definitely leave full because the portions are not small (I’m from nyc)! Everything was so good. Hard to pick a favorite - the mapo tofu twist dish and the big chunk of fish were top runners but the duck?! Omg. So good. Duck probably was my favorite. We weren’t able to finish the shrimp toast and fish dish even though they were so yummy bc we were so full!! It’s already not easy to get a reservation but I suspect it’ll continue to be even more popular. While it’s got a tasting menu and the food quality is excellent, atmosphere is pretty laid back and casual. Servers very nice. Oh the only dish I was not a fan of was the cucumber/kiwi/melon one but only because it has cilantro and I can’t eat that-but my friends liked it, it was refreshing

GHIDO RAMEN is a newly opened ramen spot in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, offering authentic Japanese cuisine. The restaurant has received praise for its homemade and well-balanced ramen dishes, with particular recommendations for the Spicy Shoyu and Spicy Tonkotsu Shoyu options. Guests have also highlighted the friendly staff and the fact that the restaurant makes its own delicious noodles.
The best ramen we ate! There is a vegetarian option without the soup but no vegetarian gioza unfortunately. Other then that every thing was fantastic!
Hila I — Google review
The place was full, even nearer to the end of the lunch service and we had to wait for a small amount. The place is relatively small so be expected to be cozy and right next to some random people. Perhaps it was the error in my expectations and the ramen here is adjusted to the delicate French palate but I felt the soup was underwhelming with very light, almost watery feel. I had to add soysauce to add extra flavours and saltiness. The noodles were good. Gyoza was just average you’d get in a ramen shop.

We just looked for a quick meal but restaurant and its ramen exceeded all our expectations. Without a doubt, it was one of the best bowls I’ve ever had. The broth was rich and full of flavor, yet perfectly balanced. The noodles were top-notch and service was flawless. It turned out to be the unexpected highlight of our trip and easily the best meal we had in Paris this time. Highly recommended!

Très bien! Just randomly hopped in the place as I was super starving. But the food and service were absolutely exceeded my expectations!People here were kind, and you can order in English, don’t worry ! Also, I love the texture of the noodles! The soup also tasted great, not salty as others. I love this place and already saved for my next visit. Hi, it’s me again ! I am really into the texture of the noodles, so, just visited twice in a same day 😛 I also tried their pear flavoured ice cream, love the combo in this cold winter.

I'd say one of the best ramen joints in Paris. I've had the Tonkotsu Mayu twice (two days apart). The broth is nuanced and flavorful without being overwhelming. The chashu is nicely marinated and flambeed, and the ajitama is marinated and perfectly jammy. It's a really cool, chill, and unpretentious joint with super warm and welcoming people.

Kodawari Ramen, located in the 6th Arrondissement of Paris, is a popular spot known for serving some of the best noodle soup in France. The restaurant has a trendy Japanese izakaya-style decor and is often frequented by locals and visitors alike.
It’s delicious, good ramen in Paris. But the noodle still taste bit different from those in Japan, they are more firm and the traditional Japanese noodle is more elastic and chewy. But it still very good and the food quality is great. With a try here. We were there 25min earlier than their opening time, and there were already 8 groups were waiting outside the restaurant. Suggest to go there a bit early and can eat directly when it opens.
YF H — Google review
If you love fishy food, this is for you. The appetizers were just okay. The bamboo shoot was less than 2 tablespoon. The decor was on point though. The toilet even has a bidet. We arrived 20 mins before opening and stood by the door. We got seated right after they opened without having to join the waitlist. Great decor, but fishy ramen is not for me. And they all are fishy bcs of the dashi.
Aub M — Google review
This place was something special from the cozy, well-kept atmosphere to, most importantly, the food. We had two different kinds of ramen, both amazing. The flavors were rich and deep, and the chicken broth was hands down the best I’ve ever had. It’s a tiny spot, so expect to wait in line, but it’s totally worth it.
Vincenzo C — Google review
I went to that place twice and it's been a experience each time. You tend to forget you are in Paris as you are enjoying your Ramen. Japan streets mood is well emulated. Just a little bit humid but it's due to the kitchen. The ramen are very tasty, savory and filling. It can be a little bit overwhelming for kids and seats are very narrow but they still had a great time over there. You won't be disappointed. (you must go early to avoid the wait though)
Kevin B — Google review
The food and atmosphere were both excellent — it honestly felt like being transported to Japan. The ramen was flavorful and well-balanced, and the overall vibe of the place was authentic and cozy. That said, the check-in process was a bit confusing. You have to register through a virtual queue, but this wasn’t clearly explained anywhere, which led to some frustration at the start. A quick sign or better communication from the staff would go a long way. Still, once seated, the experience was great. Definitely worth a visit if you’re a ramen lover!
Lütfiye E — Google review
Really cool and tasty restaurant. Amazing broth and noodles, all of the ingredients felt hight quality. Very cool vibe. Only complaint is the pork portion in the dish- one medium slice and the rest is just noodles and broth. One big thing to be aware of is the waiting time, especially on peak hours - can easily be around 90 minutes, so best to come earlier and join the line.
Michal A — Google review
Good organization but nothing that can justify the long waiting queues . There is a formular with QR code that helps handling this but overall . No beef ramen. Inside its interesting but the starter with chicken was not even mid. Ramen itself i aint that regular eater but made my stomach feel weird just after an hour of eating. The cola was good find . Sake i drank wasnt worth and epic. On the other side the vibe is a good one gives you that anime vibe due to small of place it has

This place basically warps you into a Japanese alley, it's pretty cool. The seating was interesting and unique, it really felt like I was back in Asia! Their ramen has unique ingredients I wouldn't normally find anywhere else. Lemons in ramen sounds crazy at first but it tasted great. Amazing service and staff. They were so friendly and made sure to take nice photos of my friends and I. The queue was terribly long though, which is understandable since it's a viral place. Even though we had a reservation, it still took some time for them to call us.

The menu features a variety of noodle soups, gyoza, and meat dishes. Customers praise the consistent quality of the ramen and homemade gyoza. The portion sizes are generous, and food is served promptly. While the curry rice is tasty, some find it comparable to homemade versions.
I visited this restaurant because I wanted to eat Japanese food during my trip. It had been a while since I had sukiyaki. The meat was chewy, but there were plenty of vegetables and the taste was similar to Japanese sukiyaki. It felt nostalgic. It was delicious.

Unexpected Hidden Gem! We stumbled upon this ramen spot after finding long waits (over an hour) at two other popular places nearby — and we’re so glad we did. The food was excellent. We ordered the miso and spicy miso ramen, gyoza, and half fried rice — all were flavorful, authentic, and satisfying. Service was quick and courteous. As self-proclaimed ramen snobs from New York who’ve also traveled to Japan, we were genuinely impressed — this place beats at least half the ramen joints in NYC. Highly recommend if you’re craving a solid bowl of ramen.

Avoid this place. I had diner with my couple in the ground floor, big cockroach 🪳 One the is one or two, in a room full of people there should be hundreds hidden. We told the waitress and they confess that they have fumigated but the problem remains . This place should be closed for sanitary reasons, we just finished eating when this happen. The attention was cold and the food, after this experience we ran from the place wanting to vomit. Really take this seriously, shut down, clean the place properly and fumigate. Again, the best for you if you’re reading this, avoid the place…

Love our food orders this evening, tonkatsu, ramen and some curry.. everything was very good and tasty.. even my picky kids loved it and ask to come back again before we leave Paris.

Another Japanese resto that serve tasty yakisoba. I love yakisoba. My boyfriend enjoyed his ramen and told me that it is 4/5. Goya is good too. Service is fast like other Japanese restaurants around the rue Saint Anne. Their price is typically same with others too. So might be back next time. ☺️

Decent food. The best part of the meal were the soups which were tasty. For the rest, the gyozas were clearly not fresh. As for the udon, the meal was greasy and lacking flavor. Better options available I the neighborhood.

Nestled in a trendy loft near Place de la Republique, Soya has been delighting diners with its creative organic and vegan cuisine since 2007. This charming eatery boasts an industrial-chic vibe, complete with ample glass and a serene atmosphere that invites you to unwind. The menu is a vibrant celebration of multicultural flavors, featuring everything from hearty curries and dals to an impressive salad bar filled with favorites like tabbouleh and hummus.
Sunday brunch : A great variety of dishes, very tasty, pretty original food, almost everything was gluten-free (1 exception clearly announced). Nothing too rich, nothing too sugary, dishes are fresh. All beverages are not included in the menu, but a choice of 2 hot and 2 cold, free refill, are included. Calm street and chill atmosphere. Very clean. Friendly staff, careful about your table and well aware of allergens issues.

Delicious vegan food. Super healthy & tasty at the same time. Staff was very warm, atmosphere is homely. Nice for a date or spend time with friends or even to grab a quick meal. Must try: the platter for mains & the artichokes for entree. Soyafels, mezze, tempeh cannot be missed

Another great vegan experience in Paris! I'd recommend making a reservation. It wasn't busy when I arrived at 7:30 but it was packed when I left an hour or so later. I had the fried tempeh appetizer and the lasagna. The appetizer was good but not what I was expecting. The tempeh was more of a paste that was formed into triangles and fried. I didn't really see any individual soybeans. Perhaps that's typical in Europe so I can't ding them for that. Besides, it still tasted good.😁 Now on to the star of the show, the lasagna. Most of the reviews said it was good and they were correct. It's the best vegan lasagna I've had in the 8 years I've been vegan. The portion was large, with many layers. 2 people could probably share it if they also had appetizers. This place is definitely deserving of its high rating. I'll be back!

I loved everything. From the view you get from the outside to the cosy and ethnic vibe inside to each and every tasteful plate that comes in front of you. This is certainly one of the best vegan restaurant I've been to in Paris. The couscous was fantastic, full of flavors and with a generous portion. The red wine we ordered (Domaine de Cantausse) was also really good. And the service was friendly (and even funny). I'll certainly come back during my next visit.

Great ambiance! The food is delicious, you can really taste that it is all freshly made. We were sitting in a corner (out of sight) so sometimes we needed to sign if we needed something. But still I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Udon noodle restaurant
Japanese restaurant
Restaurant Kunitoraya is a popular spot in the heart of Paris's Japanese quarter, known for its refined Japanese canteen atmosphere and delicious udon noodle dishes. The restaurant often has long queues, but the wait is worth it for their specialty udon bowls served in hot soup or with cold sauce, featuring options like Udon Kunitoraya and Karasumo Daikon.
Best Udon in Paris, chef has been helming this restaurant for over 30 years. I have been here many times over the years food is always good. But no feuille service and casual restaurant.
Zarina V — Google review
For me the food is normal, nothing so impressive. Not saying not delicious but is just normal.we have the pork miso ramen . *we are being move to other table while we are middle of we eating the udon, just because there are line. Other restaurants would just ask the customer to wait. For me asking customers to move table when they already start s eating is kinda rude.
Max Z — Google review
I really dislike restaurants where the dining tables are right next to the toilet – that’s just my personal opinion. Unfortunately, from where I was sitting, I could actually see the toilet bowl. I wanted to leave, but stayed only because I was with someone else. To be honest, when the food is good, I’m willing to overlook a few things. But here, the poor hygiene and the fact that the staff didn’t speak English made it worse. The biggest problem, however, was when we first entered the restaurant. I understand that it’s a small place, but having side dishes and eggs already prepared and left right by the entrance – fully exposed to customers, staff, dust, and even rain on wet days – is unacceptable. I simply cannot understand how anyone could think this is okay. And it doesn’t stop there – cooking equipment was left outside on the pavement, and the open kitchen looked dirty and unhygienic. I have no desire to ever go back. If people who don’t care about cleanliness keep giving high ratings, the restaurant will only get busier, which is a real shame.

We’re visiting from Singapore, and after having spent 7 days in Milan and Florence we were ready to get our Asian food fix. So we could be a little biased, having said that, this place does not disappoint! While it’s not fully authentic, it was authentic enough and we had such a great meal! The udon texture was really very good. Both the dipping sauce and the broth for our udons came seasoned very well. We feel the dashi or tsuyu flavors could be stronger, but a small nit pick. The tempura was fried very well and competes with tempura we have had in Japan and Singapore. It had no oily taste and the batter is the right thickness. The curry don was excellent - it even came with bonus slices of beef! The curry roux tasted authentic but could also be a little stronger in flavor. The katsu itself was fried very well the breading could be improved but they’re not a katsu restaurant so no complaints here. The rice was proper Japanese short grain rice so we were very pleased. All in all this meal left us far from disappointed, and satisfied our Asian food craving. We highly recommend this place if you’re hankering for authentic Japanese food. We will be back if we ever find ourselves in Paris and need Japanese food! Do note they don’t take reservations so you’ll need to line up.
Gluttonous G — Google review
My Parisian friend recommends this place so I lined up for lunch. Got in at 12nn when they open smoothly, but at 12:15 it’s full house. To avoid stuffing myself I ordered the hot sauce dip Udon (it does not have any meet in the bowl) and a serve of fried chicken, paired with a Kirin beer too. The chicken & beer came quickly. The batter is light and crispy, with citrus sauce. Very tasty. The udon was to be dipped in the sauce with springs onions, quail egg, ginger and sesame. Glad that the portion size of everything is just right. The atmosphere of the place is fantastic: warm, lively, and energetic. The meal is done in 30 minutes 😎💪

This restaurant is impeccable, and the Japanese Wagyu Udon is amazing! You can eat it without the udon noodles, and the broth is truly divine!
Ça A — Google review
Came back to my favourite udon spot in town and it’s not as good as I remember. I came here often when I lived in Paris. Udon is still very good but the sauce to dip tempura is a little bit too salty. Long queue as usual.
Kornchom M — Google review
Food was decent if you’re looking for some Udon or Japanese food while in Paris, but nothing spectacular. The Udons are good, we got the vegetable tempura dipping, shrimp tempura in soup, and curry. We also got the karaage, but would pass next time; felt like it was cooked non-traditionally. Prices are very steep for what you get and there was a long wait. We spent 100 euros for the meals and portion sizes weren’t even that big. In New York, you’d probably find something similar for $60-80 USD.

Noodle shop
Japanese restaurant
Udon Jubey is a cozy Japanese noodle bar located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. It offers a menu featuring creative ramen and udon noodle dishes, with the noodles being much thicker than ramen. The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere provides an authentic dining experience, reminiscent of Japan itself. The star of the show is their freshly made in-house udon noodles, featured in classic Kitsune Udon and flavorful Tempura Udon dishes.
I love exploring new spots in Saint Anne, and this time my adventure led me to Udon Jubey. The udon was exceptional—the broth was rich and flavourful, perfectly complementing the noodles and meat. The crunchy lotus added a delightful texture. The staff was very friendly, adding to the overall dining experience.
Mona A — Google review
I went there because it seemed they make their own noodles; the taste wasn’t bad, but the hygiene rating was zero. The place was small, so we went down to the basement, but the menu was sticky, and the tables and chairs felt old and sticky too, which I didn’t like. The food took a long time, though the tempura udon tasted fairly good, but as we left, I noticed the state of the ground, which I hadn’t seen before, and it made me think about the hygiene. If the taste and cleanliness matched, I think the place would be much more popular.

We visited Udon Jubey and absolutely loved it! 🍜 The food was served very quickly, everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked :especially the udon and tempura, light and crispy with amazing taste. We were with our 2-year-old daughter who was peacefully sleeping in her stroller, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable, even though the restaurant was full during lunchtime. There’s also a quieter downstairs area if you prefer a more peaceful space. A wonderful spot for a delicious lunch in the heart of Paris we’ll definitely come back!

Came during lunch time and there was few seats left. Luckily I was solo so easier to get a seat. The udon was a bit too soft and beef a bit overcooked. The soup has more soy sauce flavor than from meats. Overall, it was ok.

I’ve been coming here for over ten years, and it truly feels like an authentic izakaya in Japan. I always prefer sitting at the counter in front of the kitchen, it gives the most genuine experience. The dishes are authentically Japanese. My favorite is the hot udon with vegetable tempura, but everything on the menu is tasty. Be mindful of the opening hours, as they tend to close quite early, just like real Japanese places. The only downside is the lower ground floor, which feels less cozy and authentic compared to the main area.

This is the best Udon I have ever tried in Paris! It was just amazing! The perfect broth with combination of perfect noodles and amazing meat! Perfectly cooked egg to add your udon - really recommend it. We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant as also the staff of the restaurant was friendly, helpful and efficient. We are definitely coming back there and trying more from the wide selection.

Super duper nice ramen in Paris 🥰 the girls working here are super nice and welcoming ❤️! It is a pleasure to cone to this kind of customer service. Food was very nice as well ramen spicy and ramen chasu were excellent also fried gyoza was very tasty. Only thing bad maybe was that it is a small place and the tables are very near to each other. So good! Having been to Japan this year, we would say this place is authentic. Portions were big. 2 dishes for the 3 of us and we still took home half the ramen. Dined with 2 kids and they were accommodating and very friendly. We came just at the right time at 8pm before the rush. By 8:30 you definitely had to wait. And what a beautiful neighborhood!

First, I had the gyoza, which was very tasty. For mains, I tried the karaage upon, which was pretty good. The soup was flavourful and the chicken was delicious. Lastly, Ihad the lemon cheesecake and it was great,a very fitting end to a very good meal. The place has very nice vibes, the decorations are pretty, the stones on the walls add to the aesthetic. And it is next to the Pantheon, so great location too. The staff is very helpful as well.

Best poke bowls I’ve ever had! The food, the service and the place are top, top quality. I would recommend it 100%. The only feedback I have for the restaurant is to remove the noise from the beepers. Once your order is ready, it beeps and vibrates. I think the vibration is more than enough, especially being someone who gets overstimulated with these sharp noises.

Decent chicken ramen, nothing exceptional considering there are so many other places that are truly fantastic! I only had half a piece of the egg oddly and it was a bit cold. Fast food like experience for ordering using a screen at the entrance and collecting the ramen later.

Really cute Japanese set up. We enjoyed the poke bowls and ramen; the chicken udon was okay. Service was friendly & orders were quick, however since we were downstairs, we had to wait for staff to walk past with someone else's food to flag them down after our initial order.

This was our fourth time coming here. The portions were correct, and freshness/quality of the toppings for the poke were great! Me and my sister were satisfied with both our meals and the staff were kind and gave us utensils. The place is very cozy but slightly cramped upstairs if you want to sit and eat on the spot. Restaurant
Kiwamiya Ramen is a Japanese restaurant in Boulogne that has been highly recommended for its authentic cuisine and excellent service. While some customers have found the ramen to be good but not the best they've tried, others have enjoyed the experience, especially appreciating the thicker noodles served with the dish. The restaurant's convenient location and cozy interior make it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike.
I’ve finally found the best ramen in Paris, and it’s hidden in Boulogne-Billancourt—Kiwamiya Ramen. This spot is a true gem, serving authentic Japanese ramen crafted by real Japanese chefs. The broth is incredibly rich, flavorful, and perfectly thick, making every bowl a comforting delight. It’s now my go-to place whenever I crave ramen. Absolutely 5 stars!
Cyrus S — Google review
Our second time here and it was top as per usual. For starters, we ordered edamame and chicken karaage. The chicken came with egg mayo dip and it was perfect. For ramen, I went for spicy tonkotsu (can’t remember the actual name) while bf took the vegetarian ramen. Both were super flavorful and just so good. Pro tip - if you order the vegetarian ramen, you can ask them for chilli to make it spicy! They provide chilli paste and oil (looks homemade) and it really elevates the flavor. One thing though but maybe it’s just me - I found the bamboo shoots weird tasting. But honestly think it might just be cause I’m not a big fan of it to begin with. For anyone missing Japanese ramen, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is good. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is charming. However, I’ve tasted many ramens in Paris and this one is the most expensive I’ve been, it is tasty but the ramen I ordered costs 19€ and it was really missing something, chicken, eggs or something I don’t know but it wasn’t as great as it should have been.

Overall a good experience. But when comparing price/flavor we have favorite options of Ramen in Paris such as Yatay.

We were so exhausted and this was so close to our hotel (literally right outside our door), the reviews were super high so we figured we would take it easy that night and and enjoy something warm. We liked it so much we ended our trip the next night with it again! Really cute interior, and exterior patio! The service was great and quick! It was always busy but we never had to wait for a table. The takoyaki was delicious! We got that both nights. The spicy ramens are not very spicy at all, which was perfect for us - but if you are wanting it for the heat level this is not it. Delicious broths on all the soups we tried!! We are still thinking about this ramen even after and have tried some in our home city and haven't found one quite as good. Highly recommend and rave about this as we talk about our trip to Paris!

Updated June 2023: it was our go to place for a good ramen without taking time to go to paris center. But we can’t accept this crazy price increase anymore with the meat portion was even less than before. It’s now to expensive and not worth it, so we won’t come back. March 2022: Add to favorite ramen list in Paris area!

Delicious food with terrific service. Relaxed atmosphere and cozy decoration. Sizeable portions of delicious ramen - only realized after the dish that I had not taken a picture. Irresistible. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful experience and to the chef for the delicious food

The ramen was good, not the best I've tried. Expensive for €19. There are certainly better ones in Paris, cheaper too, but this place is conveniently located near me. They serve with thicker noodles, I would've preferred the thinner which you normally have in a ramen. The takoyaki lacked a bit of flavor, I still enjoyed it though or maybe I was just too hungry. And oh be ready for a wait of around 20-30 minutes in the queue. But overall, not bad.

The kitchen is actually great! The chicken burger was delicious and crispy. The beef cheek tender well cooked. Fries crispy. I enjoyed the onion soup too! All points for the ambience, humongous place and in one of my favourite streets in Paris. Great place to bring your group of friends and have a good time! I visited this bar recently and while the atmosphere and drinks were decent, my experience was negatively impacted by the management and security staff. When we entered, no one mentioned any bag policy — not at the entrance, not by the staff, not even by our waiter. Then out of nowhere, a security guard came up to us, demanding we remove our bags and vests. The tone and approach were completely unnecessary and caught us off guard. If there’s a policy in place, it should be clearly communicated at the entrance or by the staff when you're seated — not enforced hours later with hostility.

Laï-Laï Ken is a spacious and airy Japanese restaurant located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. The decor is simple with light-colored wooden furniture, creating a serene ambiance. The menu offers a variety of Japanese dishes such as stir-fries, ramen noodle soups, gyozas, and more. Customers praise the efficient service and delicious food, particularly recommending the fried chicken and wonton soup.
Don’t be intimidated by the queue at the entrance, it is moving pretty fast. Ask for the bar seats for even faster entry. We were with kids (6 and 9 years old), and the bar seats were perfectly fine for them. The food was really good and authentic although for someone from Asia I’d love my Sichuan-style miso ramen spicier, it’s definitely adjusted for the locals. Some of their staff speak Japanese and some speak Chinese, so for someone who doesn’t speak French. We ordered yakisoba and tan men and they were perfect. We will come again for sure to try their gyoza and may be other types of ramen.

Loved this place! The food was really good and flavourful and servers extremely friendly :) really good value for money too. We arrived quite early so there was no queue, but it got packed quickly although queue moves super fast!

Great restaurant with friendly waiters . Overvall a great restaurant that mixes two asian cultures into one. Chinese food cooked in a japanese fashion. If you are looking for a nice place to eat as a couple this is a great spot! It was definitely family friendly. It was clean and the bathrooms too but the only problem I had was that it was too loud. I had a hard time hearing my friends across the table. The servers were nice but they had a hard time hearing us over the table to order too. Convenient paying methods. Just scan the sca. code and you can chose to divide the payment and just pay what you ate or share the payment. If they can fix the noise issue and invest in noise reduction in the building They would get even more clients!

I ordered two small, straightforward dishes: the wonton soup and the fried shrimp. The wonton soup had a simple soy sauce base, and while the wonton wrappers were thicker than I expected, they had a satisfying chewiness. The fried shrimp came garnished with bits of chili, but if you're expecting a kick, it might be disappointing. It wasn't spicy at all. However, both dishes were still enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean, with a minimalist ambiance and well-arranged seating.

I couldn’t recommend the pork enough, so soft, tender and super tasty!

One of the best Asian restaurants I have tried in Paris, and I’ve tried quite a few! The shisen ramen is delicious, with a flavourful, slightly spicy, brothy soup which can be hard to find elsewhere. I highly recommend the mapo tofu, although will note that the spice level seems to vary between visits and sometimes has been a bit mild. The gyoza is great too. You can pay via a QR code on the table using the sunday website which is quite handy, and can also split the bill.

While the decor is a bit plain and the lighting too bright at night the food more than makes up for it! 🍽️ The fried chicken is an absolute must-try and the wonton soup is perfect for warming up in winter. 🥣 Overall, a great spot with excellent valu for money! 👍

Ramen restaurant
Takesan Donabe Ramen is a renowned Japanese chain that has recently made its debut in France, specifically near Opera in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. The restaurant offers an authentic taste of Nagano, Japan with its signature ramen served in traditional Donabe, a Japanese earthenware pot. The menu features various types of broth including pork, halal and vegan chicken, along with homemade noodles and artisanal miso.
That was really good. A great ramen restaurant serving soup in traditional ceramic bowls. Nice menu, not too many. Very nicely decorated. Very well priced also. The only issue, is the long waiting time in the line before being seated.
Tsiresy R — Google review
Ramen was piping hot, decent taste, not so traditional Japanese clean broth, more saucy, dark, starchy, thick, slightly mysterious. So thick in fact, both my partner and I ended up bloated like crazy after the ramen. Surely some kind of starch/thickener was added, this doesn't just happen. Fried chicken was awesome though! Wouldn't call this super authentic. Someone said the owners are Chinese? Cannot confirm for sure but my gut feeling says so!
Kaiwen F — Google review
Ordered their karaage as a sides and also classic tonkotsu miso ramen + special. Honestly the ramen is really average in term of taste. But staff is really nice and patient even the queue outside is always long. The soup indeed is on thicker side which I personally not a big fan of it.
Juno T — Google review
The soup is really thick, to the point that we started to wonder if it had been thickened up with some cornstarch since it also left us very bloated afterwards. The classic tonkotsu was on the salty side, tantanmen had a nice peanut flavour. The soup comes boiling hot in a claypot and takes ages to cool down so we ended up burning our mouths trying to eat it. Overall the food was nice, as long as you don't judge it as a classic ramen, but more as a saucy noodles. The restaurant is not huge, so you're sitting very close to other customers, there's also no place to put your coat/bag. Really nice staff tho!
Dominika F — Google review
One of our favorite ramen spots in Paris! It can get a bit crowded, but with some luck, there’s no wait. We usually eat the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen Special (semi-thick pork broth, tasty meat, fresh veggies) and the Tori Paitan Miso Ramen (rich, flavorful soup, crunchy vegetables, perfectly soft egg). Both are always delicious! If you leave a comment, they even give you a small gift, which is a nice touch. Prices are a bit high but fair for the quality. You can expect to pay around €50–€60 for two people. Plus, the stone pot keeps the ramen warm until the very end! ( maybe bit too hot at the beginning ) ;).
Bichusaro — Google review
Recommend shoyu tonkatsu! Had a bit of apprehension as the ramen around me looked pretty heavy and thick. And that’s what some reviews were saying as well. That’s why I went for a lighter one with Shoyu Tonkatsu. And it was a very good bowl of ramen. Noodles have great texture, broth is very balanced. Chashu could be tastier and tender imo. Vibe is ok but like a good ramen place, it’s not supposed to be too comfortable ;)
Cobbi F — Google review
Ramen was so good that is if I was back in Japan! Love the rich and flavourful broth, it really fixed our Asian food cravings haha. The wait could be long during dinner time, but it was frustrating that they didn’t try to accommodate groups of 3 or more, as there were more than 5 tables of 2 behind us going in and we ended up waiting for nearly an hour when they could’ve set us down within half an hour… hence the deduction of 1 star 😔
Emma — Google review
there are clearly good elements here. the miso is really nice, with a nice sweetness and fermented complexity. the stir fried pork is fragrant with sesame and ginger, meaning you can mix it in halfway through the bowl and change up the taste. but the main gimmick, serving in a donabe, is holding the bowl back. the opposite problem is very common with french ramen: it's often served too cold, but here it's served too hot. taste receptors work better in certain temperatures and here the soup appears less tasty as a result to being served boiling hot. i believe you're meant to blow on every bite, thus taking more time to eat than a normal bowl, but that would make the noodles soggy. i usually eat ramen quite fast, but here the noodles started to get softer than i like (the high temperature doesn't help with this, even though the noodles start off thick and firm, meaning they're aware of the problem). it's unfortunate. i think this would be really good served 10 to 20°C cooler, i can really see the potential. but it's unlikely that they will step down from their gimmick. i saw that they sell the miso they use which might be interesting.

Gaijin Ramen is a new gourmet restaurant located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, offering a spotlight on Japanese noodles. Visitors have praised the varied and delicious flavors of dishes like Tori ramen and kinoko ramen, as well as the high-quality homemade broth. The ambiance inside the restaurant has been described as extremely cool, with an opportunity to speak with the owner who exudes a love for Japan through the food, staff, and overall atmosphere.
Loved the experience here. Very intimate ramen place, good food. Wished they could chill their sake :) I ordered the Tori ramen and my partner ordered the Rikukai. I liked the rikukai so much better because it was more flavorful. The magret de canard with yuzu was delicious as entrée. I loved the matcha cheesecake :) We will definitely come back to visit again!

We were looking for a Ramen restaurant, and found that the first two places we looked for were closed for unknown reasons. The third place was this restaurant, and when Google Maps told us that we were at the address, we couldn't see the restaurant. It wasn't until we were standing on the opposite side of the road that we spotted the place. The facade of the place is small, and can therefore be difficult to spot. We tried to get a table, even though we hadn't booked a seat, and if we promised the restaurant to be ready within 1 hour and 15 minutes, they could offer us a table. We gladly accepted that offer. We had a wonderful Ramen that was super tasty, and as an option we got some chili sauce on the side, to spice up the dish a bit, if that's what we wanted. The staff were super friendly and service-minded, and created a good atmosphere in the restaurant with their nature. The restaurant was very nicely decorated in the relatively small space, with a view of the kitchen, where you could see the chefs at work. It's always good when a restaurant isn't afraid to show off their kitchen. I would highly recommend the place, but also recommend that you book a table in advance, because in our case we were probably just lucky to get there without it.

A great experience, highly recommend any ramen fan to come and enjoy this great food. The service was perfect, great waitress, fun and helpful ! We also were lucky, we didn't know you had to book a table on their site but the owner was kind enough to seat us at an available table !

Japanese / ramen restaurant. The inside is cosy, confortable and cute. The food was delicious. The gyoza were crunchy, light and super tasty. The ramen were truly phenomenal. I had the duck liver ramen (foie gras) and it was really to die for. The broth was flavorful, rich and complex. A true masterpiece. I would very happily go back for the same thing !

Hidden gem in Pigalle! Delicious authentic ramen, warm atmosphere, friendly staff. Everything we ordered came out quickly and was so good. Prices are also very fair and the bill is able to be split and paid from your phone at the table making it a super easy experience. Would highly recommend!

Really delicious ramen! We found this place after giving up getting a table at the Pink Mama. It was just a block away, and we were able to get seats right away. It’s one of the best ramen I’ve had in my life. From broth to noodles, the ramen was perfect. I chose the Gaijin ramen which is a duck ramen with foie gras. It was described as French-Japanese fusion, which I couldn’t imagine how both cuisines would come together. I’m always wary about trying fusion ramens since most don’t come out right. I’ve had a fusion ramen from the Ivan’s Ramen in NY(owned by a famous ramen chef who was trained in Japan and won multiple awards), but it was not good. Gaijin ramen was so good! Foie gras’s fatty cream flavor and deep complex flavors of broth go perfectly together. It creates the similar mouth-feel and flavor combinations like when you eat pork chashu with tonkotsu broth. Absolutely amazing combination and such a brilliant recipe. I loved the super chewy, in-house made ramen noodles. It’s a must try place if you’re ever in the area.

Udon noodle restaurant
The Udon Kisin restaurant in Paris is a Japanese eatery that specializes in the thick wheat noodles, Udon. The dishes at Udon Kisin are prepared by the chef right before your eyes, and include noodles and soup. The fries here were not very crispy, but the noodles and soup were both delicious. The atmosphere of this restaurant is sleek and wood-accented, lending it a certain level of sophistication.
You’d better make a reservation; we were lucky that someone had canceled. The texture of the udon was really nice, but the broth was a bit bland for my taste.
One P — Google review
We were the only Americans! You must make a reservation via telephone, even for lunch. The restaurant is small! We had several starters. The most filling udon was the beef, it felt like it had a whole cow. The tempura udon was also quite large!
Olivia L — Google review
Overall a satisfying meal, wait time was little to none (a weekday afternoon near closing time, 2pm). We were really excited to try this place due to finding it from the michelin guide, and as we were in the area, we couldn’t resist. The place was nicely packed, but service was still quick and polite. Sadly when we went, the sushi rice had run out, leaving the salad as the only side option 😢 The udon noodles had a really good texture, served in a warm hearty broth. But personally, none of the dishes we ordered blew us away. It lacked a flavor profile that felt unique. We did go in with extremely high expectations though. In totality, we are glad we finally tried it, but would maybe try new places rather than returning.
A T — Google review
Amazing, freshly made udon noodle soup, the flavours were wonderful. We didn’t reserve but they managed to get us a table after a short wait , service was great as well. The dessert was unbelievable tasty as well! No picture, we ate it too fast!
Maria F — Google review
This shop is small but it’s amazing! Since the restaurant is small it requires a reservation, but we got lucky and got a spot without a reservation. If you are looking to get appetizers i’d recommend to stay away from the tofu. It was much too sweet for our taste. But otherwise everything else was delicious! We got them the boeuf and it was amazing! The combo of udon and beef was just right and made the broth much more flavorful. But the star of the show was their desserts. The black sesame and matcha mochis were so amazing! They were both very flavorful and delicious. If your are a fan of Japanese food, this is definitely a place to put on your to-do list!

One of my favourite restaurants in the world, I’d go all the time when I lived in Paris. I took a couple of Japanese friends and they agreed it’s incredible, the best they’ve had outside of Japan and arguably as good as a good place there. Everything is made with meticulous care, and the people are so polite! I miss this every day. The mochi get a shoutout too

Good ramen! The broth is rich and flavourful! However the karaage was quite hard when biting.

Good , but expensive....Had the porc ramen. it was 15euros. two thin Porc slices, Bouillion, noodles. not even an egg. Spicy sauce is 2 euros extra. Every Japanese bistro gives free condiments, except here. very little meat. it is all bouillon and noodles. sad
Jake H — Google review
We waited about 30 minutes in the rain and ordered a piece of gyoza and ramen. They charged 2 euros for a spicy sauce topping on the gyoza. Please don't order it!! Ramen was ok… I ordered a firm noodle, which was much softer than I expected. The scallion is roughly chopped, and the soup was warm, not hot... It's VERY different from what you get in Japan… a bit of a disappointment…
Moé O — Google review
Editing my review to drop 1 star due to the service. We asked for a water refill for the genmaicha tea (it is totally fine to reuse the tea and it is often done) and the staff said they do not do water refill. It is the first time we had this experience from simply requesting some hot water. We then asked another person from the staff if they could refill with hot water and they accepted. I don’t know why this place has 4.2 average rate. The Ramen is delicious for only €20 and there is a nice tea selection. I 100% recommend different Ippudo restaurants across the city. This one is in particular Most convenient for us, traveling by train as it is walking distance to the Gare.

Mori café is a small Japanese eatery located in the Bastille district of Paris. The café offers a limited selection of authentic Japanese dishes, best enjoyed while sitting on tatami mats. Customers can savor delicious ramen with smoky miso broth and toppings like scallions, crunchy leeks, corn, and togarashi. The restaurant also serves vegan Japanese cuisine, including Tantanmen ramen with beyond meat and Teriyaki Don.
Amazing restaurant! Food was so so delicious and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. We had the Tantanmen (perfect level of spice and creaminess) and the Miso Ramen and both were so nice. If I could make one recommendation would be to allow some reservations to be done for smaller groups, we had to wait 30 mins for a table which we could have avoided if reservations were allowed

Can't recommend this place enough! Everything is delicious, they have seasonal dishes (although the all-year dishes are excellent as well - especially the Tantanmen) that are always a joy to discover. The drinks are very good with a lot of options. The staff is also very friendly. Lastly, it is really nice to have a restaurant with a full vegan menu, from which you can choose freely without having to search for the vegan/vegetarian options. Food allergies are also easily displayed.

Delicious Japanese canteen serving traditional soba noodles (both cold and hot). The dishes are freshly made and very tasty. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Be aware that the concept behind the canteen is sharing your table with strangers - don't be intimidated. People usually queue up for a long time to enter, as there is no booking system (it works on a first come first serve basis). I'd recommend coming at the opening hours to avoid/reduce the wait.

Definitely need reservations - we walked in but we will lucky to do so. The soba is very nice and the pickle variety was great too. Very refreshing meal with a wide menu (we didn’t even try the sushi). Service was solid as well and the food arrived quickly. The mochi was good but I went with a sorbet and an ice cream would have been a better options.

Unfortunately it’s the worst Japanese restaurant I’ve tried in Paris so far. Soba was okay but you can make it at home if you buy the high quality ones in the Japanese supermarket in town. We didn’t get the pickles as showed in other people’s photos either. Tempura was good compared to the others though. We also ordered the sashimi and urchin hand rolls. The quality was good but it’s overpriced (maybe because of the location). Honestly Ryo and even Takara have better sashimi options than here with lower price while also in the city centre. The service level was unfortunately very low- we can feel the difference how they treat Japanese guests compared to serve others. It’s unacceptable. Another thing to note is that you need to make reservations for their lunch bento. Very disappointed and I will never come back.

It’s our favorite Japanese Restaurant in whole Europe! We made reservation with ten days advance notice and arrived directly from the airport to dine in. Their flavors are just amazing. I don’t know where and how they are getting their salmon and tuna but it’s the freshness and richest flavor fish I was able to taste outside of Japan. That flavor and the freshness is the key to the “waw” factor whether in tartare, sashimi, or nigiri. Had also delicious mixed tempura and cod. Miso Cod was on an overdone side as it was served in 4 small pieces instead of one, making the edges dry, but the nice flavor compensated for it. Service is very pleasant. The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to update the furniture in the patio and bring some modern Japanese art on the walls. The place is too sterile and does not photograph well.

Restaurant pictures and reviews looked nice so I made a late order today (April 25th) via uberEATS at 9pm. The delivery was made in 15-20 mins. The fish bento was a disaster (pic below). Fish was not well cooked, tasted really bad, was cold and a bit smelly. The ramen was cold too (really surprising since the delivery guy took 5 mins max from the restaurant to my place). As for the dessert, not only their crumble was tasteless but looked more like a old porridge stacked in a white paper cup (just look at the picture). What kind of presentation is that? This is the first time I’m writing a restaurant review and my bad opinion is not biased by bad client servicing or anything. Just BAD food. I really hope that their restaurant serves much better food than this because I honestly think they should close if this is what they do on a daily basis.

I really enjoy this place. Only one choice of ramen, even a simple soy based ramen, but it gives you such a warm feeling and a sensation of fullness after the meal. Definitely one of my favorite ramen place in Paris.

Tucked away in the stunning Passage des Panoramas, the Ramen Bar offers an authentic taste of Japan right in the heart of Paris. This charming eatery serves up a variety of ramen dishes, featuring rich chicken or vegetable broths that are sure to delight your palate. For those seeking something unique, their miso-based recipes incorporate fermented soybean paste and soy milk for a creamy texture and bold flavor.
Absolutely great place. Run together with Gyoza Bar and another business around the corner, great service and great food. It has a street food vibe and concept so don't expect michelin tasting gourmet food; this place offers an impressively quick but very tasty meal for great value. As a ramen lover, this was a dream find.

(Translated by Google) Discovery of this restaurant that I had heard a lot about, in the superb panorama passage. Very stylish, neat and warm interior, very friendly welcome. I tried the Ramen for €10 to take away. A nice quantity, delicious flavors, the pasta is a change from classic ramen, the broth is perhaps a little too salty for me. I will come back to test the other proposals 😃✌️ (Original) Découverte de ce resto dont j’avais beaucoup entendu parler, dans le superbe passage des panoramas.

(Translated by Google) Everything was delicious, in my top 3 of the best ramens in Paris! The staff was very friendly! Really great vegetarian Ramen (the broth had a lot of flavor and was excellent)! Excellent value for money, the portions are generous!

(Translated by Google) Great experience at the Ramen bar. I took the buta yaro with extra egg and the other guest had the supa black tan. The Yaro buta with soy milk is very creamy without being too salty as I can find in many miso-based ramens. The bowl is very generous, I was thinking of taking extra noodles but it really wasn't necessary. The tofu salad was very good and tasty. Perhaps a downside to the soy salad which wasn't spicy enough and we didn't taste enough sesame. The service is also top notch. My friend also loved the black tan ramen with black sesame. She preferred this soup to buta yaro.

If you're on the hunt for a culinary gem in Paris, look no further than Gaijin Ramen, a delightful new restaurant nestled in the 9th arrondissement. This eatery shines a spotlight on authentic Japanese ramen, offering an unforgettable dining experience. Guests rave about the high-quality food and warm hospitality provided by staff like Robin, who is known for his friendly demeanor and helpful recommendations.
My partner and I visited during Gaijin’s first week of opening, before it was even listed on Google. We took a chance, and it was absolutely worth it. The owner—who also served us—was incredibly accommodating, walking us through the menu and clearly passionate about creating the best experience possible. The ramen was phenomenal: rich, layered flavors with generous ingredients, as authentic as it gets. The thoughtful décor, attention to detail in the menu, flatware, and even the music made it an unexpected delight. We’ll definitely be back.

Ramen was delicious ! We also liked the cosy atmosphere. We were served with love, thank you guys! We will come back Tony! Highly recommended to every Asian food lover ; )

I would recommend this restaurant to any ramen lover visiting/living in Paris. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and passionate about the quality of service and of food they produce. I highly recommend the Gaijin Ramen, a rich duck broth with thinly sliced duck breast paired with foie grais and marinated mushrooms. I have had ramen all over the world, but never had seen a duck centered ramen, and was definitely not disappointed. The quality of noodles is extremely high, as they remain springy and chewy without becoming soggy, all while soaking up rich flavor from the broth. I’m excited to return and am very optimistic for the future of this restaurant and any other ventures they pursue.

(Translated by Google) Great discovery! We enjoyed an excellent ramen and a Domburi. The dishes are well prepared, homemade, and of high quality. We were treated to a long explanation of the menu, the different flavors, and the combinations between the products, which demonstrates the desire to provide a quality experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, which will now become my go-to canteen!
