Adorable space with excellent natural wines. Good advice from the staff. Good prices, too. Perfect place for wait for a table at Clamato. We luckily got two seats in this tiny establishment so we probably enjoyed the experience more that way. Lots of people were standing outside. I’d go back to try the food.

love it! the natural wine here is amazing, and the people working there are the nicest, they take the time to explain the wine (and answer any questions) inside can get a bit stuffy and warm but standing outside is a great option with tour glass of wine during summer

Really good experience as a single patron. The staff took their time to explain the wines, which were all tremendous. Clear pricing of wines per glass and, in glass fronted cupboards around the small bar, per bottle. €8 corkage was reasonble when bottles started at €14. A great experience, would return.

Had ze Chenin and ze Freinetard along with a pesto pizza. Great selection of wines and the food was delicious. The vibe overall gave, and then it gave some more albeit would love some outdoor seating options.

First natural wine cave I've ever been to, and they've set the bar very high. The staff were so nice and even gave us a bottle of complimentary wine we wanted to try. I'll definitely be back.

Large selection of natural wine. Small and ok selection of food, the beef ham with almonds was a highlight for me. Very local ambiance, this is clearly a place people like to hangout, and that rubs off on casual visitors too. The service however felt a bit like it was a victim of the cave’s popularity. Easy, relaxed, great service and the wine is beautiful. The simple dishes are made in a little open plan kitchen at the end of the bar. Recommend the steak tartare

Great little wine bar with some small plates. Very small so expect to stand, great atmosphere with french rap in the background. We were offered natural wines, which seems to be the main focus.

I went in on a hot, muggy night and the owner gave me two spectacular and unusual wines that were perfect for the weather. It's a very relaxed place too. Go if you're curious about wine or are very serious about wine.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Exactly what was needed with a fantastic selection of wine plus charcuterie to enjoy as you work yourself through the wine list. Busy but seating inside was fine. Loved every part of the couple of hours spent here

Highlight of our trip! This recommendation didn’t disappoint. Great prices and variety — the mixed charcuterie was absolutely yummy! Loved the mystery wine concept too… though we totally failed at guessing it.

I came by myself while waiting for a dinner reservation. Despite coming by myself, the staff let me sit at a nice small table, and did not pressure me to leave or move even after the place became crowded. Polite and friendly and really nice ambience.

Just the perfect place to have a bottle of wine and a planche mixte. The service is amazing and well organized. We went for tappas lunch at 1:00pm on a Wednesday. Got in easily. The staff are incredibly friendly and don’t make you feel ignorant for being foreign. We had the local cheese, jambon, pickled capsicum, mackerel and the beef. All stunning. The waiter also recommend a spectacular wine to pair with it all. Went for a glass of wine and some tapas, they serve small plates meant to be shared. The menu changes and it’s very seasonal with a spanish accent. I would say it was very nice, some plates were really tasty (and quite simple, which I like), others were OK. The mood is very chill and local, which I liked. No reservation needed.

We loved this place. What a vibe <3 Great ambiance and good music in a beautiful setting. We had lovely wines and were pleasantly surprised by the food. Friendly staff that takes good care of you. There’s a tapas menu with a nice selection of fromages et charcuterie. Then there are some suggestions of the day. We’ve tasted some amazing combi’s: tataki de maquereau with raisins, basil and kombu. Amazing fresh cabillaud with sauce hollandaise and crispy fresh green beans with lemon zest, simple but so good I wanted a second portion. Joue de boeuf cooked to perfection in a fingerlicking sauce. Amazing food! The French cuisine with an Asian twist is such an amazing experience. The beef tartare and the cheeses and hams…every dish a flavour bomb. The scallops and the chocolate mousse were also a highlight!

The atmosphere at Aux Deux Amis is lively and bustling, and the wine was truly delicious. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. As tourists visiting from London, we understand there can be communication barriers, and we always try to be respectful of local culture. However, we couldn’t help but feel that we were treated unfairly from the moment we arrived. We weren’t greeted with a simple hello, were seated in a cramped corner, and then asked to move to accommodate a larger party—even though other free tables and couples could have been asked instead. Other customers were promptly given water and glasses, while we had to request them. When asked—rather curtly—what type of wine we wanted, we requested a chilled red. What we received was warm and clearly the last of the bottle. The waiter also made a snide comment while pouring it, referencing where it was from, despite not having given us any information about the wine beforehand. Overall, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and somewhat inferior. Perhaps it was just the attitude of one particular staff member, but the impression we got was that tourists aren’t especially welcomed here. We left after one glass, disappointed by what could have been a lovely experience

7.8/10 Food was good, we got the chicken and the bouillabaisse and both were very well done. Traditional French cuisine with a slight modern spin, nothing super new but very clean and executed well. Price wise it’s a little pricy. That being said, I do think they use very good ingredients and very fair portion sizes. Chicken and fish were around 25 euros each dish. Restaurant is relatively new and very clean with lots of seats. Would I go again? Probably not, but if you’re in the area and looking for something, this is a decent option.

Food: Who needs food? This is a wine bar and the wine card is fantastic. Okay, in all seriousness we didn’t eat here because we had other plans, but the food around us looked lovely. Service: The service people were lovely, but a bit aloof. Atmosphere: The ambiance and the art are incredible. What a hideaway. I’d call it a must visit.

The wine list is very good, which is why I chose this place. But the food is just average at best. The lamb was flat and didn’t taste fresh. If you come here, avoid the meat and just order some snacks to go with the wine. Worth it only for the drinks, not for the food.

We came here for an early lunch. We got 2 wines, the lunch set which comes with main and appetizer and a plate of meats to share. We finished it off with a lemon tart and an espresso. The fish here was so succulent and nice. It was shocking how good it was. I would definitely get this again The cold tomato soup was really refreshing and addictively delicious. I would get this again. The meat plate was okay - it went well with the wine but not my top pick. Lemon tart - the crust was too thick. But it wasn't too sweet. It was nice and tarte. Overall I really enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant. It was very laid back. The servers were nice and super accomodating. The food was good but definitely on the pricier side. I would recommend for lunch

Authentic French wine bar, plenty of choice and affordable prices. There is a choice of charcuterie available to be paired with the wine. Small indoor seating space available and some standing places inside and outside. Highly recommend for wine lovers!

We had such an enjoyable time...easy to tap into your hedonistic side on Sunday morning...wander the nearby open markets and arrive early for oysters and white wine...order your oysters outside, then go inside to get your choice of wine(at least a 1/2 liter)...best is to enjoy outside and people watch.

Wow! What a place. Visited on Sunday afternoon and it was jam packed! Amazing wine selection for €3/4 a glass. Oysters were €20 for 12 served with bread of course! Great relaxed atmosphere and a perfect way to spend a Sunday. Will return 100% on next visit.

We recently visited La Buvette and, unfortunately, left feeling quite disappointed. As fans of Action Bronson, we were excited to check out this well-known Paris wine bar after seeing it featured on his show, where he spoke very highly of it. However, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. From the start, we felt unwelcome. The owner seemed disinterested in engaging with us or offering any guidance on the wine selection. As we prefer a more conversational approach over reading menus—especially in a specialty wine bar—we had hoped for a more interactive and welcoming experience. We tried to connect by mentioning the Action Bronson episode, thinking it might be a shared point of interest. Unfortunately, the owner dismissed it, saying the show’s feature was one of the worst things to happen to her bar, as it brought in more tourists and drove away her regulars. It was disheartening to hear, especially since we were simply excited to enjoy good wine in a place with such a great reputation. Regardless of people’s backgrounds, interests, or reasons for visiting, the feedback I’d offer is this: don’t discriminate against who comes to your bar or why they’ve chosen to visit. Instead, take pride in the fact that your wine bar is so well-known and appreciated.

Stopped here on a late Sunday afternoon (they opened at 5pm). As you'd expect they have a great selection of natural wines, and a small (but very tasty) selection of cheese, charcuterie, and nibbles. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. A great spot to sit down and enjoy a drink before or after an evening meal. Recommend!

We stopped in for a drink before dinner and were really happy that we did. The staff was very helpful and patient and offered to interpretate the menu to assist us with our small plate. Ohhh, I wish we weren't going to dinner as we would have eaten more small plates, we had the pickled egg, and it was delicious. The venue is small and cute, with a good vibe. The staff helped us select some great natural wine, and we had a taste and picked what wine we wanted to go with, and that was very handy and lovely. We will visit again when in the area next.

The worst thing about my experience there was the clam broth I got for my entree. After I enjoyed it to the last clam, I found a lump of black mush inside the clam shell. My friends told me that it is dirt, not something that they put in purposefully. I notified the staff about this and the staff was kindly enough to go ask the kitchen for me. The staff came back to me with an answer "that was black sesame." I hate causing a scene so I just let it go, but to say that the lump in the clam I found was black sesame was BOLD, I mean the ingredient was not even listed on the menu. This ruined my appetite completely and made me disappointed in the restaurant so much. I have photo of the clams before I ate it, the broth was clean at first, by the time I got to the bottom, the broth was blackened 😂😭. The food was mid, dessert was good.

After a couple of days in Burgundy where the quality of meals was a mixed bag, lunch here was very welcome. Interesting and delicious wines accompanied a creative and light cuisine. All excellent, and probably the best black pudding I’ve ever had, made in-house.

Where wine meets dine. A wine shop where you can eat, meaning good priced wine, a fun atmosphere and good bistro style food. Some dishes were amazing, like the mussels and stone fish yet others were good at best. There was quite a noticeable difference in level between the dishes, almost like prepared by different chefs. That said, there really is nothing to complain with all these fine wines and lovely staff. Having dishes that don’t meet expectations happens from time to time and wouldn’t discourage me from visiting again. The chefs are creative which grants them room for error over the boring same old same old chefs. Go here for great wines, buy a couple for on the road and hey, grab a bite whilst you’re there. You won’t regret it.

Starters were all epic!! We had canard and fish for mains and were both so tasty dishes. Ok it’s not average in prices but same goes for the taste. Service was excellent and even though we went for the cheapest wine option - since the list is big and also pricey- we were fully satisfied with our time there. Overall one of the expensive meals we had in Paris but definitely recommended!

An amazing wine bar tucked away in the small street. This is a little brother of a Michelin rated Frenchie restaurant that is just across the street. The bar gets very busy, no matter what day or time it is, it is highly rated among locals but also tourists. You’ll have to check in with the host and be prepared to wait up to an hour for a spot to free up. They’ll usually suggest to take a glass of wine from the bar while you wait. The food is seasonal and the menu changes often. Most of the dishes are easily shareable, but be warned - they are super tasty and you’ll want to finish most of them on your own. The wine list is extensive.

Wow, it is as amazing as people on the internet says. Had dinner here with my boyfriend on the first night in paris because Kaitlyn Lavery’s video. My oh my, I’m already thinking of going back again cause they changed menu quite often seems like. We got 4 small plates, the maple bacon scones, the poach trout, fried pork cheek, and pissaladiere. The maple bacon scones was as iconic as people say, it is both sweet ans savory but i’d say more on the sweet side. Still love it tho, the maple coating def has a nice caramelization on the bottom, and the scones overall is perfectly moist on the inside, and crumbly on the outside. I wish they put flaky salt on top to cut through the sweetness or maybe like a sharp cheddar in the scones, overall really good. The poach trout was definitely the underdog, whatever sauce they put this with was like being taken to southeast asia. Then the pork cheek croquette style. I’m still thinking about this until this day. If you like mackerel, you would love the pissaladiere. I do like it, but the dough/bread underneath soaked too much of the grease i feel like this pairs better with sourdough or rice. Overall, highly recommend and would come back again.

What a gem! Located in the middle of Paris, Frenchie Bar à Vins offers delicious small and very special plates. The menu changes depending on the seasons and ingredients available, but everything we had was pure perfection. 1. Ranked n1 would be the foie gras tarte with confiture de figue. It was mindblowingly good. 2. I place the Bacon Scones 2nd. It was as good as people describe them. There’s maple syrup so it’s sort of on the sweet side. We ordered them at the end so it was kind of our dessert ; and we were definitely not disappointed. 3. If you like sardines, the pissaladière is not to miss!!! Super rich in flavor The waiter was also super nice, he took the time to help us choose which wine would go best with the plates we ordered. What a good experience overall. If you’re into wine bars, this is seriously the best one I’ve tried so far. Would definitely go again!

A gem of a place !!! We came here for dinner, walked in at around 8.15pm on a Monday and were seated nearly straight away (we opted for the outside table as indoors had a waiting list of around 4 other groups ahead of the que) The outdoors table was a little chilly for an October evening, but the wine eventually warmed us up. Their wine list was phenomenal (both the by glass and by bottle list) with impressive bottles from both Bordeaux and burgundy. As we weren’t up for a bottle we went for by glass. Great pinot noir and a lovely orange wine recommended by our waiter. Service was prompt, polite and hospitable! Can’t say much for the atmosphere as we were seated outside, but inside felt bustling, dimly lit, exactly what a wine bar should feel like. And for the star of the show, the food; -bacon scones: baked fresh on site, servied warm, perfect balance between sweet and savory and was the perfect introduction to the evening -lobster roll: more on the salty side, but was an overall well-balanced dish with the celery making the dish feel fresh -chicken liver pate + waffles: perfect, sweet and tangy, the waffle was soft and the texture was perfect -eggplant + yoghurt + chilli oil ⭐️this was one of our favorite dishes of the night -beef tartare: amazing We were too full for dessert (which was a shame, but it just means we’ll have to come back!) Overall, a very impressive meal and the perfect definition of a wine bar with an equal focus on food. We will be recommending/returing

Food was delicious. I enjoyed the mushroom pasta and chocolate torte. I also liked the tuna with mango but some might find it too sweet. This place has a great cozy vibe that feels safe and welcoming. The staff (servers and kitchen) seemed to flow well together. I went later in the evening but would return to see this lively artisan Rue.

what can I say about Frenchie? This is a fabulous wine bar. The the staff is really really special. Everything is over the top. The wine list is really really special and the food. Oh the food is so great a definite visit when you’re in Paris and worth every second getting there.

I am a returning customer, visiting Frenchie everytime when I’m in Paris. Food is amazing as always, but the service level has gone downhill, I’m disappointed. Food wasn’t finished and the staff took our plates away without asking. The staff rushed to take our plates all the time it almost felt like they wanted us to finish our meal asap. There wasn’t a queue. Accident happened and the sauce was splashed onto us when they took the plates again. I believe it’s an accident but no smile, no passion in most of them. I don’t know what’s wrong but it’s not the service level and vibe I have had in Frenchie - it feels different. The staff are mostly disengaged and losing passion (except for the lady who gave us great smile). It is disappointment and made the meal less enjoyable. I will return and give it a chance again because the service level doesn’t do the justice for the hard work of the kitchen staff. But please, Frenchie, you can be better. You should be.

Staff was perfect and spoke perfect English, they do charcuterie and wine which is perfect. They are attentive and helped with our selection of wine and menu items. We will make a point to come back when we return to Paris

Popped in here while searching for a small bite and a drink. We had some wine and the cheese and charcuterie board. This place seemed like a local favourite and I can see why. The wine was really good, great recommendation by the staff. The food was a great compliment with the recommended wines and the staff were very friendly and accommodating given we don’t speak French. However, service ca be slow during busy times. The atmosphere was rustic and perfect for a wine bar.

Wonderful selection and of course you can ask for recommendations - Espérance is an excellent red wine, a recent discovery there. To accompany, enjoy some delicious cheeses, the cheese board with 6 different ones is a good sharing option 🧀 the 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁-𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻 is so tasty, similar to Brie but not exactly! Very soft and creamy. Lovely, welcoming and chilled atmosphere and smiley, friendly staff. Merci beaucoup Solenne and team, you are wonderful people! 💖

Service was good, they were able to modify my reservation at the last minute. Staff was knowledgeable about the wines as well. All the food was really tasty but overpriced. €18 for a few small bites of tartare is way too expensive. Would still recommend a visit if you are not on a budget.

Overall good experience. - Food: having limited menu options should equal availability of all items in the menu. Unfortunately, the pigeon foie gras tart - most interesting dish on the menu- was unavailable, which was disappointing. Food was delicious. The best duck prosciutto I’ve had (and I’ve tried many). My first time trying veal brain and I loved it, tasted fresh. The beef tartare on nori was also excellent. I really enjoyed their wines by the glass. Staff was friendly, place is cute, fun decoration/ceiling. I also feel the portions were the perfect size. I’ll probably dream of the duck prosciutto. Went first in October 2024, revisited September 2025 and just as amazing.

I arrived at the store and was completely unacknowledged. Of the three customers who came in, I was the one who wasn’t greeted. One of the workers went to help another woman, the other one was at his computer and couldn’t be bothered to look up until another customer wandered in. Luckily I know my wines so I picked my selection, paid and left. If I didn’t have a flight to catch, I would have just left and found another store. Abysmal.

Excellent wine bar / shop. Reasonable prices, very extensive selection of natural wine from all regions of France but also from Italy, Spain etc. Nice charcuterie and cheese counter to go with those as well.

Huge selection of wine to choose from. The bottles are very affordable ranging from 6 euros per bottle. Good selection of cheese and charcuterie. You'll definetely not feel like you're getting ripped off from this place. A must try hangout spot!

Absolutely the worst meal I have ever had in Paris and one of the worst meals I have ever had. The service was rude and slow, we sat for 20 minutes without being offered a menu or water. The starter was an endive salad which was large, roughly chopped endive in a bowl with sundried tomato paste from a jar slopped over it for 9 euros, followed by a piece of fish in a bowl of watery spinach. The waiter took our untouched starters and didn’t seem to notice or care that we hadn’t enjoyed them. This is a place to absolutely avoid.

We had a delicious lunch sitting outside under the awning. The waiter was helpful and friendly enough. It was made clear to some that the tables are only for those having lunch, but this is the same a many cafes. As with any place in the world it always helps to at least try a few words in the local language. Parlez vous anglais?

Loved this local cafe - busy, full of local people and great buzz. Once something is gone, it is gone - a small sacrifice for freshly cooked produce. Our best lunch in Paris by far and also decent prices.

Some of the reviewers seem to think the owners are anti-tourist, in my experience if you di your best to speak a little French (and my French is awful) they are almost always very helpful. Just don’t go in speaking your own language and expect to be welcomed. It’s simply bad manners.

This place is incredible. The food and wine were delicious. Our waiter Maxime was super fun, patient and excellent at making suggestions for wine. He translated the whole menu for us. We had the beef dish and the white fish, both were beyond amazing and cooked to perfection. We highly recommend this place, it's off the beaten track, quiet and away from all the tourists.

What a find! This place was buzzing and it's easy to know why: great wine selection, excellent sharing plates and a really warm welcome from the team. Space is tight but it adds to the ambiance. The wines - leaning more to French and with an organic/natural theme are intriguing and chosen by Somm Chloe. The "pop up" chef concept is fun and sees the menu changing with the inspiration of each chef. Chef Ash Lee dished out amazing cuisine, lots of inspired flavours. Really had a good time and will be back for sure in the summer.

Delicatessen Place is my favorite wine bar in Paris I’ve been coming here for years. The food is consistently delicious and comforting, it almost feels like you’re eating in someone’s cozy kitchen. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the wine selection from the cave (which you can bring right over to enjoy at the bar) is truly one of a kind. A perfect spot for a relaxed, delicious evening.

The food was very interesting and not like anything I've had before. I ordered the white tuna woth fermented red fruits, which sounds weird, but it totally works out. You can also tell the chef is really passionate about what she's doing. The dishes feel creative and thoughtful and I can say the same for the decor with its thrifted feel. If you’re into trying something different and made with a lot of care, this place is worth checking out.

Come here if you want to be treated like pure garbage. I visited two nights in a row — the first night was too busy to get seated, so I came back the next day hoping for a better experience. Big mistake. From the moment we walked in, the two servers were visibly overwhelmed and their attitude showed it. I work in the restaurant industry myself, so I’m very understanding when things get busy — but that’s no excuse for being rude to paying customers. The brunette server in particular was shockingly dismissive. When I asked a simple question about the menu, she rolled her eyes and told me her colleague would “help me instead.” When I asked the colleague if I was bothering them, she snapped, “just ask your question.” I was honestly floored. For reference, I usually leave only five-star reviews. I love supporting good restaurants. But this time, I couldn’t let the disrespect slide. We would’ve ordered the full meal and a bottle of wine (as we’re big foodies), but after that interaction, we limited it to the one glass of wine we already purchased and left. Their loss. Such a shame — the place could’ve earned two good customers, but the service completely ruined it. Avoid this place if you value being treated with basic respect.

This may be my favorite restaurant in Paris. Central location, intimate with inventive dishes based on classic French cuisine and excellent wine choices. They have a plat du jour deal at lunch including a main, glass of wine and coffee for a very good price, although the regular menu was too tempting. It was so good that I returned a week later and the menu had completely changed, but the dishes remained complex and well thought out. Excellent coffee. Very warm and professional service.

The food was amazing. We had the cauliflower soup with clams and kale tempura as the appetizer. Then we shared the beef entrecôte. Both were extremely delicious! The wine pairing was excellent as well - a burgundy from Hautes cotes de nuits. The service and ambiance were also perfect. The food is very reasonably priced for the quality.

I don't know what's wrong with this bartender, but he's so rude and seems to have the biggest stick up his… If anyone could recommend a good stick-removal service, I'm sure everyone in this restaurant would greatly appreciate it. Originally came here 11 years ago for a bday dinner wine class it was amazing!! The food then was special and so were the wines Fast forward 11 yrs later and although a good experience it did not live up to my expectations We ended up in a very large group on a weekend so maybe because it was not intimate it made it feel just okay The dinner this time around was average, nothing memorable and not exciting for Paris Wines of course are always good and the teacher was nice I do enjoy just having a glass of wine at their bar so if in the area it's a great place to stop by Prob will pass on the dinner next time

The Tour de France was my first wine tasting and it was seriously awesome. My partner and I have been raving about it ever since. Our sommelier was entertaining and very informative, I can’t remember her name, but I believe she was Australian! She was great. We had a great time learning about the different wines from the regions of France, and we had about 5 glasses of wine + champagne (plenty!!). The cheese platter was totally worth it, and learning about which cheeses pair with which wine and why was especially interesting. There was ample (delicious) bread and water to accompany the wine. Would recommend this wine tasting. In addition to the wine tasting, we decided to do dinner here as well. The dinner was also great.

This was an amazing wine bar that I attended because it offered champagne flights. Somehow difficult to find in Paris. The atmosphere was cozy and old school, my three wines were all very good (a range from Blanc De Blanc to a rose champagne. There are many other wines available as well. My server was friendly and accommodating and I will absolutely be back. I left food blank as I only had a small slice of Brie for a taste pairing. I had no wait as I had pre-reserved.

Literally never post a review but just had the most disappointing meal ever here. Some weird leek sushi for started which was cold soggy and just weird. Then for main risotto which was literally pasta with what tasted like a can of fresh cream and a couple of cherry tomoatoes (not cooked at all) thrown into the mix for the fun of it. Came out lukewarm, spent about ten minutes trying to catch the attention of staff who all looked about 17 and just there for the sake of it with no interest in wine food or service. The wine was nice and the first French man the served me was lovely but other than that incredibly lukewarm experience

We decided to visit this place based on a friend's recommendation for its food. At first, I wasn't sure we were at the right spot, as it had more of a bar ambiance, with most people outside enjoying their beers. However, we soon discovered that they do have a proper kitchen. The staff's demeanor is very Parisian, so it’s best to set aside any expectations of American-style service when you step into this brasserie. The food was absolutely incredible! We ordered six dishes for our table of four to sample as much as possible, and every single bite was a delight. I doubt there's anywhere else where you can enjoy such high-quality food at such reasonable prices, ranging from €7 to €16 per plate. Surprisingly, they also offered a wide selection of wine, even though most patrons seemed to prefer beer. This charming little restaurant may look like an ordinary brasserie, but it certainly packs a punch with its cuisine. I would definitely return for the food!

But with these prices, it is absolutely insane that they charge you to eat the ice cream there without telling you, especially when your ice cream is melting and there are not any chairs left to sit down.

I had a terrible experience at this ice cream shop. I’ve waited in line for hours at pop-up restaurants and cafes, but waiting an hour for ice cream is ridiculous. I arrived at 16:24 and was only called in to place my order at 17:09. Then I had to continue waiting until 17:21 to finally get my ice cream. I understand that children are prioritized and can skip the queue, but many young families abuse this. They bring their tiny baby and immediately place an order while I had to wait 1 hour. Families with toddlers I can understand because the whole family eats ice cream, but families with a tiny baby? Big no. I wouldn’t mind if the service was fast, but it was very slow, and a lot of people were waiting under 30-degree heat. I suggest they create a separate line for adults and families and balance between the two lines, because waiting 1 hour while two adults with a tiny baby immediately get their order is completely unfair. The ice cream itself was mid. The olive oil flavor did not taste much like olive oil, and the fig leaf was okay but a little too sweet for my liking. The price of the ice cream is similar to other shops in Paris, but they charge 1 euro extra for a cone and 2 euros just to eat on site. Big no. For the same price in other shops, I can get a cone and eat at the place with no extra charge. I definitely won’t return.

Fantastic place! Go here! One of the best meals I had during my stay in Paris. I went early around 19:00 on a Friday and the restaurant was basically empty. Super friendly service in English. The anchovies were meaty and delicious, the tartare had good salt and anchovy flavor and the cod was superb (especially the sauce!). Snack (anchovy), starter (tartare), main (cod) and 3 drinks (champagne, white wine and Armagnac) came in at 109€. The restaurant is named after the street. The server said it’s not a Basque restaurant but more international with French influence. The chef is Mexican so you can also see that influence (delicious!).

This place is a TOTAL STUNNER! The service was friendly and attentive, with the owner Tom personally picking out bottles of wine from the cellar for us and engaging throughout the evening. The ambiance is cute and modern, seems like a very neighborhoody spot where people hang out over drinks and food. And the bites… everything was amazing. The steak tartare was the best I’ve ever had, there was a mushroom appetizer that was really unique and umami, the hen and cod were cooked perfectly, and the pork had a wonderful smokey flavor. If you’re a New Yorker visiting Paris like us, this is a MUST STOP!

We had a reservation at 8:00 PM, but due to an unexpected issue, the restaurant could only seat us at 8:40 PM. During the wait, they offered us an outdoor table and served a glass of excellent champagne. What truly stood out was the genuine care and attention from the staff—it was so thoughtful that we couldn’t even be upset. What could have been a disappointing experience turned into a memorable and impressive one. The food itself was delicious, and with the level of service we received, we can easily look past the small mistake. Had an amazing dinner at Devant No. 2 in Paris with my fiancée and daughter. Super cool vibe, great music, and truly bespoke French cuisine. We were warmly welcomed by Jordan, who took the time to walk us through the menu in detail. We also had great service from Nicholas, and in the kitchen were Leo, Augusto, and Dash—all of whom were absolutely spectacular. The food? Just incredible—beautifully inventive and full of flavor. They change the menu every night, so you’re always getting something new and creative. You’ll be seated at a bar table, so you get to watch the kitchen in action—which adds to the whole experience. The setup allows the staff to give you personal attention throughout the meal. Great wine selection, and the desserts were out of this world. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something unique, fun, and delicious in Paris.

We made a reservation for 3 at a table. Not knowing that our table would be located literally next to the bathroom all the way in the back in the dark. Just look at the picture. The door on the photo is the toilet. Can you imagine eating there and people going in and out of the bathroom?! The only reason why I am writing this review is to warn people to never book a table unless you are sure you won't be seated in the back. We refused to sit here. The staff was kind enough to seat us at the Italian restaurant that they also own next door and not charge us the heavty EUR 60 deposit per person. Unfortunately the food here couldn't make up for the disappointment we experienced at Vivant 2.

I absolutely love this place and its unique concept! No reservations, it’s first come, first served. You order your drinks and tapas directly at the bar, and if you’re lucky, you’ll grab a table (and maybe even a chair!). But honestly, it’s all part of the charm. One of my favorite spots in Paris to enjoy amazing bites, chat with friends, and soak in the fun, lively atmosphere.

One of the first spots we make sure we get to every time we are lucky enough to be in Paris. Seafood available from next door and a great selection of bar food and wine by the glass. Must visit.

Small portions with great tastes. I was surprised the shrimp ravioli turns out to be har gao in Dimsum lol. Waiter was a chill dude and impatient in a funny way. They give you sour dough bread with a huge slob of butter. Tapas were pretty tasty but fish had bones and razor clams had shards of clams. Atmosphere was fine, nothing bad but nothing amazing either. Would recommend if you're not super hungry but want small bites and a place chill to hang out.

We felt like true locals at this spot! Everyone was standing with their glasses of wine while the gentleman shucked oysters right in front of us. I am so happy we made it over and thoroughly enjoyed!

Visited due to watching an old Anthony Bourdain episode where he comes here twice due to how good it makes him feel and how good the atmosphere is. The bar is a tight intimate space that allows you to get to know staff and other customers alike and really allows you to make friends and mingle. The staff is positive and full of energy with each and every customer, providing excellent bar service and also managing kitchen orders. The food really matches the vibe of the place as it fits in with the bar/tapas scene and doesn’t try to outshine the beverages but rather compliments it with precision. An amazing place to come to at the end of your Paris trip or at the start to enjoy the beautiful city.

Oysters were some of the freshest I’ve had and were a decent medium to large size. The larger ones coming from Normandy. Service was slow despite it being half occupied but we did not mine as it is was only 1 person managing the drinks and raw bar. We would happily come again on future trips. There are also many other items not on the menu that may be worth trying. A good wine selection at various price points.

We have been going here for years and eat here on every trip to Paris! It’s a tradition! The food is fantastic, the people are extremely nice and friendly and such a simple nice place. Both the food and selection of wines are outstanding!

Fantastic little place. Great food nibble and great wine. Bar staff were exceptionally helpful in selecting wines and giving options. Had some of my favourite wine ever there and the prices were very reasonable. Spent around 4 hours here but could have easily stayed longer. The oyster bar next door was also grear. Delicious oysters, however 22 euro for 6 is a little on the high side

Come for the vibes! It’s tiny so it always feels crowded, but it is a good time. Would be worth coming just for drinks, but the food is solid too.

I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes and the quality of the food, which exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is exactly as you would imagine—simply perfect. The service was exceptional, with the server being super nice. However, I did find the prices for alcohol to be a bit high, especially the orange wine at 11€ and other wines which were 10€.

Front of house were extremely rude (borderline arrogant) wouldn’t let us in the building 1 minute before our reservation and then in an empty restaurant sat people right next to us and demanded we put our bags in the cloakroom. The waiters on the other hand were very nice. Oil felt like it had been reused as me and my friend now have an upset stomach and still water was not chilled and felt like tap water instead of bottled (eventhough it was in a bottle)

Atmosphere was well enjoyed, the service is lovely up to a point, friendly but stiff. The beef tartare was good, muscles not fresh quite a few unopened ones in my plate :/. Everything else was just okay… compared to other wine bars in the area the price isn’t justified by the taste. Quality is there but flavors are lacking… I see the vision but underdeveloped menu, this time around.

The place has this beautiful decoration but that’s all you’re going to see!! I am once again disappointed to come to a super hyped place on social media for no reason! It’s just an instagrammable place, but it’s very tiny, you have nowhere to sit or stay because there are tables in the middle, the music is sooo boring, how could this be defined as a bar dansante by some? It’s definitely not the vibe I expected, it’s just a place to get an overpriced drink and have nowhere to sit… or be asked to go downstairs and sit by the toilets… I’d rather have a drink at home!

I had two bottles at this place. “La Pause” and “Josette”. Both were recommended by the waiter, who asked for two things: 1. What was my price range per bottle. 2. What the vibe was for the night. Based on these two answers, he recommended two lovely bottles, which hit the spot DEAD ON! We were hoping for a nicely flavored red, somewhere between 50-60 euros per bottle and that is exactly what we got. No upselling, no looking down on us for not ordering food. The waiter was helpful, and friendly. He left a VERY good impression on us and we’ll definitely return soon. Bambino is one of those spots that can become part of the routine. 🙌

Must visit if you value quality ingredients, amazing service and music. The staff were great and truly passionate about the establishment, the waitress helped us with pairings- which were delicious. All the wine on the menu is natural which is an added bonus. The sound system is perfect for enjoying the music & conversation. 10/10

If you’re happy to pay €85 for 40 minutes of using your table, drink half a glass of wine and already be rushed out because they need the table back then sure, you may enjoy it. Really bad vibes from our waiter from the off and I don’t know how he had the audacity to ask if we wanted to pay a tip after being told we could only keep the table if we ordered MORE food. Apparently €85 isn’t sufficient for less than an hours occupancy of a table. He asked if we wanted a copy of the receipt to which we replied no, before he walked off immediately without saying thank you or anything at all for that matter. Embarrassingly pretentious service. Avoid if you enjoy authentic experiences :)

A perfect dining experience. A beautiful chef. An experienced front of house. This style of food is laid back yet adventurous and exploding with flavor. The chef, Toms if I’m not mistaken is calm and collected as he leads his team to victory night after night. I’ve been here at least 5 times and is my go to spot. Very good value. Bravo

The food was a little intimidating for my wife and I, just looking at the menu but boy are we glad we didn’t let that stop us! Amazing flavors! Great combinations! Can’t stop thinking about the duck with grapefruit and baba ganoush! A combination I’d never imagine yet with duck cooked to perfection and those flavors, WOW! One of the better bites of food I’ve had! And the service was SO helpful and guided us beautifully with the food and the wine!!!

This was a great meal. Every plate better than the last. Unique flavors and spins on traditional dishes. I sat at the bar and the bartender/waiter was so helpful. He translated every line of the menu and made helpful suggestions. The organic wines were really unusual and very good. The space is small and cozy. You can see everything cooked in the tiny kitchen. Great place.

Just excellent. Every single thing we ate and drank was delicious. Super lovely, helpful waiters. We had 5 main dishes between two people, plus dessert, which was perfect for us. Extremely reasonably priced, given how epic the food is. Booking is a must. Our best meal in Paris so far.

Loved the food but the waitress was unbelievably bad as she wasn’t patient or helpful in fact she even hit my friend’s head with the dishes when she came to clean the table accidentally which we understand totally. But there was “NO” sorry or she cared about it. She looked totally tired and sleepy perhaps she wasn’t paying attention to the customers nor she wasn’t attentive at all. And most of the menu on that day were out of stock even though we were there at 12:30 pm. But to be honest, the food was delicious.

Refined and sincere cooking in a relaxed Paris bistro atmosphere Vantre is the kind of Parisian restaurant that quietly earns your respect from the first bite. The space feels casual and warm, but the kitchen clearly operates at a high level — precise technique, great produce, and genuine personality on every plate. I went for the lunch menu (€29.50) and it was excellent from start to finish. The mushroom velouté was silky and deeply flavored, with pan-fried porcini adding a perfect earthy crunch. The skate wing terrine with leek vinaigrette was bright and beautifully balanced — classic French ideas with a fresh, modern touch. As a main, the mackerel with caramelized red onions and broccoli purée was perfectly cooked: crisp skin, tender flesh, and a lively contrast of sweet and green notes. For dessert, the baba with clementine sorbet was light, aromatic, and a clever twist on tradition, while the churros with pandan crème diplomate brought an unexpected, fragrant finish — comfort and creativity in one dish. The service was friendly, unhurried, and genuinely attentive — the team knows their food and wine well without ever being pretentious. Speaking of wine, the list here is superb — thoughtful, extensive, and clearly curated with love. A big thank you to Chef Satria, the warm and professional service team, and Marco Pelletier for creating such an authentic and memorable dining experience. Vantre truly combines heart, skill, and soul — understated, confident, and unmistakably Parisian.

10/10. The food was amazing, even the most simple dish like green beans were unreal. The staff was very friendly and they have a good atmosphere, good music, beautiful bistro. They were even kind enough to give me a tiny portion of two other dishes to try. Repeating this one for sure!

Vantre is a gem of a restaurant, with a wonderfully honest food menu and a well researched and abundant wine list. Don’t be deceived by its quaint bistro look and make sure to book in advance for it is sought after. We had a wonderful lunch today, and particularly in luck to get a table on short notice. Had lunch at Vantre and was blown away—every plate bursts with creativity and flavor, yet it still feels like the kind of food everyone loves. The wine selection is seriously curated, and the staff makes you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. This is the kind of place you’ll want to keep to yourself, but can’t help recommending.

It was magnifique food and amazing wines! We had almost everything on the menu and it all tasted wonderfully!

Very interesting natural wine list. Fun and knowledgeable staff. Tiny space so it’s the classic sitting shoulder to shoulder on the sidewalk, which I love. I went in early November and was happy they’d already turned on the outdoor heaters unlike most other places yay! The music is a teeny bit loud for conversation so plan accordingly, but we managed. (Did not try the food.)

This was the best meal I ate in Paris. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff professional and charismatic. The menu is carefully considered –and the French fries have to be among the best I've ever tasted. Our waiter was very knowledgable and passionate about wine and helped us choose an excellent bottle. It really is a must-visit.

Had dinner here last night & the food was amazing. We had 5 plates of various dishes between 2 people and it was more than enough. Our waitress was extremely helpful and spoke immaculate English ( which was a huge help as the menu is all in French ). I spent a great evening here .. Fun atmosphere good music (but not too loud) in the background ! The staff was professional and courteous! Small dishes that can be shared (between 8 - 15 euros per plate) A variety of dishes both vegetarian, meat and fish. The gnocchi was just amazing!! Very good and friendly service! All the plates the food we order was very tasty! And the prices are not terribly high for Paris .. I will return for sure !

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. We ordered everything by recommendation from chef. Meet was super soft, pasta had enough balance of spices, cheese and oil. Appetizers we didn’t know what was it, but they tasted amazing! All together with 2 glasses of wine we payed 58€.

Starting with the positive, the service was great, while the place is nice. Although they have many organic wines, we were not provided with a wine list but orally proposed some bottles. The cheese/salumi platter was fair, but not even close to a good Italian selection as it is supposed to be.

But then, at the moment I've put my fork down for my last bite, someone was next to my face asking me if I was done 😳 SO! It was FAST and you CANT complain about it to a restaurant in Paris, BUT that ruined a bit the expérience as I felt rushed to finish On the other hand, food was 8/10 ! With a menu changing EVERYDAY!

This place is wild. Like Paris from the '70s. Servers taking multiple orders, going to wrong tables, people standing "outside" smoking at their tables. Good wine list and decent pizza. The sauce is a bit mezze-mezze, but the dough is good and chewy. The mixed charcuterie plate is great.

Google suggested it as a wine bar, there is VINO in the name, and we ordered and agreed on a ‘heavy’ red wine. The wine was OK, drinkable, with no defects, but in a strangely small glass for a red wine in a wine bar, the glass was quite dirty outside, and the temperature was fridge cold ❄️😀 The service and waiter were very nice, though! ☀️ And we get a bottle of water and two glasses, plus a ‘tasting’ quantity of wine extra. It would be useful to learn about serving wines, otherwise it may be better to remove the listing as a wine bar, as it can mislead customers.

Exactly how you would like an evening in Paris to start! Warm atmosphere, welcoming staff, interesting menu that delivers (ok, on 97%, the eggs with mayo were a bit of a strange dish). In terms of wine, well, would appreciate a longer wine list and less unfiltered : ) Warmly recommend!

cool buzzy gastrobar-esque restaurant in paris’ 10th arrondissiment. space is compact, cosy but packs a full house punch with diners from all walks and ages: the gourmand tourists, painfully hip young parisians, couples older and younger… all checked in for good food, good wine, good vibes. dude helming the kitchen is an italian-born guest chef sebastiano campanelli (here til 13 june) who sports a stereotypical “chef bro” look complete with hipster forearm tats, stylishly groomed facial hair, tshirt and apron. but thats slightly reassuring, somehow, cuz he looks like prob came from michelin-esque pedigree (they all look the same?!) so the food miiight be good? thankfully it was. coupla dishes were middling at best but most of what we ordered was delishusss. menu is compact (which reads focussed and realistic) and seems to change every week - im assuming based on whats fresh and available in the markets that week. we ordered almost the entire menu but skipped the desserts. in the reviews you’ll see many commenting on how expensive it is to dine at this restaurant… i guess it is by parisien standards but as a gourmand myself, i appreciate and notice the effort that goes into each plate. the dish may look simple (partly by design, their plating style leans towards minimalism) but make no mistake there are several elements to each dish that makes it exciting and labour-intensive. a worthwhile effort cuz every dish was mindbendingly delish. if you are a group of 4 or more i highly recommend booking a table way ahead. for tables of 2 and under only walk-ins are allowed starting from 6pm.

We were recommended this place by a friend who had gone a couple of nights before. We hadn’t booked and didn’t expect to get a table, but we queued up at 5:45 on a Fri and managed to get into the first sitting—which was great! However, it was a very hot evening, and we were seated at the back of the restaurant where it was uncomfortably warm, with no fans or airflow. Unfortunately, we were also the last table to receive any food, waiting over an hour for our first dish. While we knew it was small plates, it was tough to wait that long after already standing in line. That said, the food itself was absolutely delicious and inventive. The chopped mussels and clams, the tomato salad, and the octopus were standouts. They also have a great wine selection. The menu changes every three weeks, so what we had might not be available next time—but that’s part of the charm. A lovely moment came when the chef, who designed the three-week menu, noticed we hadn’t been served and came over to check in and bring a dish personally. It was a thoughtful touch that made a difference. My partner especially loved that gesture!

Dinner at Early June with chef Tobi Fox in the kitchen. We began with the red tuna crudo, clean and bright with charred cucumber, nuoc cham and mint. Then the vine peaches with burrata and smoky cashew salsa — rare, only once a year in France, tasting like the peak of summer. The lamb came tender with spinach and harissa jus, deep and warming, while the mussels with chickpeas, lemon chili crisp and chicharrón were the delicacy of the night, the dish I kept thinking about. Dessert was a coconut tres leches with cherries, soft and festive. We paired it with a bottle of Losonci Roger 2022, then two wild ones from La Sorga, Sm La Sorga and Sorgasme. The night ended with a last kiss of mezcal, Madre — served with orange and chapulín salt, a special request, off the menu. It felt like closing the evening with a secret handshake.

My favorite were the mussels with chickpeas. The tuna crudo also really hit the spot . Amazing selection of wine, and great mezcal . To our surprise there was pastel tres leches on this night , the coconut added a nice twist , it was amazing ! Most servers spoke Spanish which was really cool! They were also super welcoming and always attentive and helpful.

We were lucky to bag a last minute table here on a recent visit to Paris. The guest chef was Minsoo Kim. Our favourite dish was peas, wild garlic butter. comté foam and trout roe- which came with a secret egg in the middle of a face hidden in our cleaned out bowl. We also enjoyed white asparagus, mushroom cream, lardo with breadcrumbs. For main we had cod with octopus ragu, beurre blanc, paprika oil and the chicken with korean condiment and jus de viande. They lose a star for service because they literally forgot about us for about 20 minutes upon arrival. But we let them off when the amazing food arrived. It was a great atmosphere and we also enjoyed the open kitchen.

Nice staff & ambience! Can’t reserve a table for 2- so we had to wait for one hour. The food/concept is great (fresh and flavorful!) but the portion is quite small. So you will need to order to be full.

Our experience could’ve been 10x better if they weren’t understaffed. The waitress was clearly overwhelmed. The food itself was good, though not exceptional. I recommend the tataki de bœuf!

By far our best find in Paris! They serve tasty plates with perfectly suggested wines. We fell in love with one bottle in particular that we’re trying to order some to be shipped to us in Italy. They even lent us some of their wine glasses so we could enjoy some wine in our apartment. We would drink there every day if we were locals. The perfect bar for an intimate evening.

The food was okay, nothing exceptional, and relatively a bit expensive, including the wines offered by the glass. The place was too crowded. I had to wait a long time for the waiter in between. There were some strange mistakes in the bill. I recommend checking it carefully before paying, especially if you’re a tourist.

Billili is such a gem! We stopped in for a glass of wine and a few small plates and were not disappointed. It’s a bit more local than touristy, so be prepared to speak a little French—but the staff were so kind and helpful, especially when it came to recommending wine. I absolutely loved the natural orange wine. The small plates were incredible too—honestly, the best taramasalata I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be trying (and probably failing) to recreate it at home. We also had the onion tart with anchovies, which was super tasty, and the chickpea fries, which I’d absolutely recommend. If we’d had more time, we would have stayed longer and tried even more plates. Such a special spot—highly recommend!

An amazing little French restaurant where the quality of food was top notch. I visited this restaurant on Saturday with my friend (we were spending a weekend in Paris). The restaurant was busy at 8:00pm, packed full of diners enjoying their food and wine. The menu is written on a chalkboard (so cute!, so I suspect the food changes each day perhaps?). The lovely waitress who served us was such a bundle of joy, and was so friendly and attentive. She translated the menu for us in English. In the end we went for 3 small dishes and one main’s (one of the mains which was the sausage brioche was sold out). Honestly the food was impeccable. It was so delicious, the flavours was divine and the presentation was beautiful. The quality of the food was on the highest level and the whole meal was reasonably affordable compared to the prices in London (where I’m from). To eat such good quality food in London will be expensive, but 3 small dishes, the one main meal and a glass of white wine (which was really good and I’m not even a wine drinker) came to €60.50! If you live in Paris or coming over for a holiday make sure you visit Billili, you will not be disappointed! Looking forward to coming back again and trying more of their dishes. 🤩😋

I absolutely loved this place! The food was outstandingly delicious, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the selection of wines was just amazing. What really surprised me is their Parmentier gratin de boudin noir — I’ve never liked black pudding since childhood, but here it was so perfectly prepared that I truly enjoyed every single bite. A must-visit spot!

Really I couldn’t be happier! I entered the restaurant for a quick snack and ended up having a full meal. The atmosphere of this wine bar is very welcoming, the owners takes the time to chat with you, they have a great selection of wine and the quiche was delicious. I strongly recommend!

We got it there by chance. We were late from airport and after checkin in hotel it was the only place open to buy couple of bottles of champagne to celebrate. All regular wine shops were closed already. And next day we came back to explore more! What a hidden gem! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to guide you toward discoveries that suit your taste. Pairing your glass with their simple yet tasty finger food makes the experience even better. A cozy place to sip, snack, and enjoy Montmartre life.

We were a party of 10 and arrived without booking. They accomodated us very quickly in the wine tasting area at the back of the shop. The selection of wine is great and with good value for money, the cheese selection in the grande assiette de fromage is outstanding. The staff is attentive, kind and very patient. Definitively recommended!

Local bar very cool. In a small square with lots of bars and eateries. Is the hip place to be. Gets very busy. Seats coveted outside. Opens 5pm but fri/sat 6. Had cocktails, wine and bar snacks. Understand the owners are Brazilian. Lots of fun. Snacks great.

One of the best cocktail place in Paris. Not only their cocktails are authentic but the food selection is also amazing.

Maxim was nice to chat and made great cocktails. There was playing hip hop songs from 90s. Crowd was also chill. Totally recommended.

Nice but overpriced! €7 for a glass of common wine is upsetting especially when the average price is €3.50.. food is nice - not amazing, and a bit pretentious..

A wonderful little wine bar in Paris! I came for a wine tasting and had such a great experience. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and took the time to explain where each bottle came from, highlighting different French regions and their unique characteristics. He was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. The wines were excellent, and the whole experience felt personal and authentic. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy French wine in an intimate and friendly setting!
