Great view from the top (actually 2nd floor is enough, don't have to go all the way to the top unless you want to pay extra, IMHO). All that metal took 2 years 2 months amd 5 days to put together. 328 steps to the 1st floor, and probably the same on the way down. They do have bathrooms on the floors thankfully. I feel I earned the right to take the elevator back down. Make sure to buy online tickets in advance, they get booked up fast! Also having an e-ticket gets you into the fast line!

It's just a miracle. The best place I've ever seen. I recommend it to absolutely everyone. The spirit is breathtaking. And in the evening it's even better because it shimmers. I recommend climbing the tower, the views are beautiful.

What more to say that has not been said or expressed? This is truly one of the reasons why you wanted to visit Paris. Overall it was safe and magical. We have spent a decent amount of time and different angles of the tower and each is truly beautiful and romantic. Just be mindful with your surroundings and you should be ok. Never felt worried or unsafe while visiting Paris, and we did a lot of walking tours and local neighbourhood visits that just show how beautiful Paris is!

I don't know how you could not give this iconic structure anything less than five stars. Rain or shine, day or night (because it's lit up), the thing looks beautiful from any direction anytime. The only downside is dealing with all the touts trying to sell you something within eyesight of it. TIP: You'll get the best pictures from the other side of the river, and especially if you go right to the end of the park where you are at a higher elevation.

Absolutely stunning view above all Paris! I recommend your visit during sunset when the city turns golden with the sunlight. Go at 56th floor with a very fast lift, than couple of floors through some stairs to reach the terrace. High recommend!

The terrace views of the city are worth the visit. I went on a Tuesday around 6pm and I had the entire place pretty much all to myself which was impressive. I was able to take on the gorgeous panorama of Paris, including unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower and many other landmarks, without the busy tourist crowds. It cost 26€ to go up and I was able to purchase the ticket upon arrival. Wear a good jacket because it can get windy up there.

Bought tickets for day and night viewing. We wanted to see the view of the city to include the Eiffel Tower, so that is why we did this instead of the Eiffel. Easy to get to the top floors- there is an indoor viewing area that gives you a 360 view of the city. The top floor is uncovered so be prepared depending on the weather/wind. There is plenty glass all around the top floor but there are small cutouts so that you can take pictures without finger prints, etc. showing on your pictures. There is some seating on the top floor, but not much. Annoyed by the folks with tripods that set up for 30 min plus to take pictures in the areas with the cutouts (there aren't many!) Take your pictures and allow others to enjoy the view too!

Definitely worth the money if you want a good panoramic view of Paris it’s definitely an older skyscraper so it does look very outdated. All the workers were very nice and informative. The elevators worked very fast. There’s a souvenir store and a café. There’s bathrooms. it’s accessible. Many great views of Paris.

Booked in advance the time slot I wanted during the sunset to get some day and night view on one visit. The tower is quite away for a photo, but there is a photo booth taking 3 pictures in different settings, you get 1-3 photos printed and sent to your email, also the animation (10€ for 3 photos. Must have experience whenever in Paris. Book your tickets online and you need to be on time as they are not flexible. The tour will take up to one hour from the inside sights to terrace to the outdoor rooftop. You can take photos with photo booth there 1 for 5€ , 2 for 8€ and 3 for 10€ and they are worth it.

It lives up to its name as the eyesore of Paris - but terrific views (even though it was a bit foggy on the morning we went). It's a little out of the way from the main attraction of Paris, and the building itself is pretty dated and rundown (inside and out). It looked as if it hasn't been updated since construction (or at least since the 90s), but I'm kind of into that sort of thing, so it doesn't lose too many points from me. A great attraction - but don't plan your day around it (unless you have similar taste as I do).

Visiting Sacré-Cœur was another must-do on my Paris list. I started walking from Galeries Lafayette around 2:30 PM to get there. It’s a walkable distance if you enjoy walking, and it’s a great way to explore the heart of Paris. Be ready though—the roads are quite steep! You’ll find plenty of cafés along the way, but if you’re traveling from India on a budget, be prepared—coffee here is quite expensive. Paris, and France in general, can be pricey compared to many other European countries. When you reach Sacré-Cœur, you’ll need to climb a long, steep staircase to get to the top. Once there, you can use an old-fashioned binocular to get a beautiful view of Paris. Many people sit on the wide steps to relax or take pictures, as you get a perfect view of the church’s front from there. You can go inside if you want, but most people prefer to stay outside and enjoy the scenery. You’ll often see street performers and artists entertaining the crowd, and a few vendors selling souvenirs nearby. It’s definitely a must-visit spot for anyone coming to Paris!

What a gorgeous basilica! It’s a building in Paris that we couldn’t avoid on our last evening, we took the stairs up to the top, which was quite a bit of effort after already walking up the step hilly streets in the area. But gosh was it worth it! The area was so crowded with tourists and locals alike all wanting to get a view over the city and selfies in front of the building. And you can tell why, the architecture is stunning, there is so much detail, and if you’re a movie fan then you’ll know the basilica features in John Wick.

You can really feel the history in every corner. What’s amazing is that it’s completely free to enter the main cathedral! You can just walk in, take your time, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s such a peaceful, awe-inspiring place right in the middle of Paris. Even though parts are still being restored, it’s 100% worth visiting. An absolute must see when visiting Paris. If you’re able to climb up the towers, I highly recommend it. We were able to get a ticket for 6 PM and made it to the top right around 7 PM in time for sunset. It is over 400 steps of a spiral staircase, but totally worth the view. As for the cathedral highly recommend booking your tickets two days in advance so you don’t have to wait in the extremely line long line. But if you do wait in the line, it does move pretty fast. The cathedral has been restored beautifully. It was such an amazing thing to see.

What a breathtaking building! It’s truly stunning, from both close up and at a distance. Whether in the day time or night-time. Although the rear is not finished with the rebuild following the fire it’s still brilliant. The detailing on the front facade is gorgeous. It’s free to enter the main cathedral but the queues are SO long that you’ll need to decide whether the time spent queuing and missing all the other amazing sites of Paris is worth it for you personally. You really have to see it in person to truly appreciate all the intricacies.

Very cool seeing this beautiful cathedral. I recommend. Is quite crowded but go early in the morning perhaps or on weekdays and off season to get the most of your experience. Very neat. We didn't go in, just saw from outside as we felt that was enough, also huge cues.

I recently visited the Arab World Institute with great interest in its cultural and historical offerings. While the exhibitions were insightful, I found that the Maghreb’s heritage was less visible compared to other regions. If dedicated sections exist, they were not clearly highlighted, which risks leaving visitors with an incomplete view of the Arab world. Despite renovations, parts of the building still feel worn, and recent leadership challenges may also explain why certain areas seem underdeveloped. Overall, the institute has much to offer, but giving greater prominence to North African contributions would provide a richer and more balanced visitor experience.

Beautiful building inside, and definitely one of the better (free) views across the Notre Dame, best towards sunset, maybe pair with the restaurant. Temporary exhibitions sometimes fascinating, can be hit and miss depending on your interests. Definitely worth a peek, particularly if you are wandering the Left Bank.

Great to see an exhibition on the treasures and history of archeology and architecture if Gaza, now destroyed so this exhibition is some of what has survived- do see if in Paris!

We went to the Gaza exhibition on a whim. The first room has interesting archeological finds from Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Christian and Muslim culture. The second room has pictures of various churches and museums before and now, blown to bits by the idf.

Half extremely disappointing and half quite good. Unfortunately a major disappointment was the paid for exhibition of some archeological items from Gaza, but mainly photos, of items lent by Switzerland where they have been stored/saved. The free exhibition then started poorly with a floor of photos but picked up on two lower floors. The curation was not neutral. The overview at each stage was also available in English, but none of the detail for individual objects was. French was fine, and I presume the Arabic was as well. The building itself is brutalist inside and not very inviting.

The building alone is worth the visit. The temporary exhibitions (Palestine, Jean Genet) were brilliant, with lots of information to read. It seems both exhibitions were mixed with the permanent ones. With signage not always clear (should we take the stairs or lift...), it was sometimes confusing. Not a problem since everything was great, but a bit annoying at times. The bookstore has lots of choices to deepen the subjects...

I especially enjoyed starting with a glass of champagne from their vast and impressive wine selection—next time, I look forward to exploring more of it. If I had one minor note, it would be that the lobster bisque (and one other dish) was unusually salty that evening. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall excellence of the meal. Looking forward to returning on my next trip to Paris.

One of the best meals of my life! I’m dumbfounded they do not have 3 Michelin stars, they absolutely should. Beautiful views of the city. Everything here was too notch, beyond 5 stars. It’s not a cheap meal, but well worth the splurge. I’ll absolutely be coming back here again in my life. The attention to detail was amazing. The owner was even walking around greeting people. It was an experience that I feel incredibly fortunate to have experienced.

Absolutely exceptional Michelin starred restaurant. There's a strict dress code of jackets for men. We had the five course tasting menu for €380 each. This was a surprise menu in that they didn't tell you what you were going to get. It did include their signature duck dish. Wine is a speciality. They have over 300,000 wines in their cave and a heavy book acting as a wine list. The service was superb and the food was outstanding.

Booked when we were in US on the recommendation of a French friend. Wonderful experience. Food is excellent and service is even better. Wine list is as thick as an encyclopedia with many fantastic choices. We had lunch which also provided beautiful Seine view and view of the Notre Dame. Definitely recommend.

We had dinner at a Michelin starr bateaux sur Seine the night before. The food was disappointed. I can’t even remember what I ate for the entire 5 courses menu. So I tried to avoid putting too much hope on La Tour d'Argent. It turned out it was the best experience we had at any restaurant for a long time. From the moment we entered the Tour d'Argent till we left the restaurant! Classy interior with the glass windows where we can see the beautiful view of Seine and Notre-Dame. Also, with the reflection light, we can see the chefs working in the open kitchen behind us, too. The food, the service, and the ambience were just undescribable. This is a prefect 10/10 dining experience one must try. They should deserve 3 star. We had 2 starters, plus the pressed duck to share. Three big pieces of breasts for each; served with the blood sauce. I can only say it was out of the world. Thick and gamey. It is the sauce which makes this dish so famous. Then, the boneless duck leg to follow afterwards. To the end of our meal. We would really love to try their popular souffle. Sadly, we have to give up the dessert because we were so full. Our waiter insisted we must have a dessert to end up our meal. He brought us a pre-dessert (Ginger and Pineapple Sobert) free of charge to try. The flavour from the ginger and pinapple were so fresh and tasty that I still remember today .... Just a suggestion. Out of these extraordinary experiences, the whole meal was perfect, but except the Beaneaise Sauce! The sauce just doesn't go with the duck. And why put such a big amount of Beaneaise on the plate? It really doesn't look right! As I mentioned, I tried the sauce, but it didn't fit with the roast duck leg. I'm happy with just the way the taste of the duck without the sauce..............so I was not disappointed. How about just the juice from the roast duck? Or Hoisin sauce with orange juice is ideal to go with duck meat, too.( I did try out myself after I returned home, and it turned out great).

Amazing service, even during COVID they were very helpful and supportive. All our money has been refunded without any service charge! Hope to book my travel after COVID with Julien and his team!
