Patisserie
Caterer
Stohrer is a renowned pâtisserie that has been serving exquisite sweet and savory desserts and baked goods since 1730. Located on Rue Montorgueil, a bustling street in Paris, it offers a sensory delight with its array of boulangeries, patisseries, and food markets. Founded by Nicolas Stohrer, the pastry chef to King Louis XV, Stohrer is famous for inventing the rum baba.
The oldest pastry shop in Paris totally deserves a visit! I tried the vanilla flan, chocolate éclair and dark chocolate with hazelnuts, and it was all really delicious. The flan was the best I have ever eaten,so soft and the vanilla flavour was so rich! I will definitely go back and try something else. If you are in Paris, this place is a must-visit!
Gergana T — Google review
so good!!!!! It was our first time in the bakery so we just ordered what we thought might’ve been good. I loved the passionfruit desserts i got, they were my favorite ones. Macaroons were soft and chewy and I loved the flavors! The chocolate cake one was a bit too sweet but still 10/10!! I think the third one we got was a carmel thing which we didn’t like as much, the flavor was a bit too bland except for the crunchy shell of sugar. But again we were just randomly trying things, so overall everything was amazing! Will definitely come back again :) !!!
Ilovefood Y — Google review
The chocolate babka was very rich and delicious. The other desert had a good amount of rum in it. No coffee or seating here though so find some other place nearby for it. Overall would recommend!
Saravanan S — Google review
Exquisite lemon tart with good balance of tartness and sweetness Hazelnut Praline cake was excellent Although Stohrer is famous for their rum baba, it’s too alcoholic to my liking. It was drenched in rum syrup
Emma — Google review
This pastry shop is a gem! The chocolate cakes are decadent and rich, a true treat for any chocoholic. I also loved the pistachio and lemon desserts – the flavors are perfectly balanced, fresh, and not overly sweet. What I appreciate most is the ever-changing selection; it keeps the experience exciting every time I visit. The chocolate section is particularly fantastic, offering a variety of indulgent options. If you're in Paris, this spot is a must-visit for dessert lovers!

Stohrer patisserie is the oldest patisserie in Paris, was founded in 1730 by King Louis XV’s pastry chef, Nicolas Stohrer. The store is beautiful, you should take a look if you’re around. Their patisseries look amazing, I tried raisins and nuts covered with chocolate and the chocolate eclair. Both were amazing 🤤 the quality of their ingredients is top classic. I bet all their offerings taste equally good.
Gigi — Google review
The oldest pastry shop in Paris. What they do is classic but excecuted perfectly. You can taste the sugar and butter properly. Love it. A muat visit when in Paris. Would be great to have a place to sit but not a deal breaker.
Alex G — Google review
Do you prefer modern or classic pastries 🧁? I personally find it hard to choose... But it's true that I love traditions and traditional cuisine in particular. So when I got the opportunity to visit the oldest pastry shop in Paris, I couldn't say no. And when on the top of it, this pastry shop was created by the person who invented the world famous baba au rhum, and baba au rhum was my grandmother's favorite dessert, that shop quickly became THE place I wanted to visit in Paris. 🤩 Who cares about the Eiffel tower, the Champs Elysées or Notre-Dame when you can go to Stohrer?! OK, I'll tell the truth 😇: I've visited Paris so many times that I think I've pretty much seen it all, but I had never been to Stohrer. That helps shifting priorities. 😉 At home, I'm the only one who likes baba, so the rest of the family had other items that I couldn't try because my baba was so huge. They looked good though and my family enjoyed them. 👍 About my baba, I did like it but I must confess I was kinda disappointed. First off, it was too big and I had lunch not so long before. But even without that, I think I'd like it better smaller. The more isn't always the merrier. 🤷 Also, it's a matter of taste but I prefer when the syrup is sweeter and less alcoholic. In fact, I've realized that I prefer Neapolitan baba (sweeter for what I've experienced) to French baba. To my Italian friends, that does NOT mean that Italians invented baba. Baba is a Polish pastry modified (enhanced, if you prefer) by a French pastry chef then exported to Naples where it became extremely popular. 🙌 Back again to my baba, I enjoyed it but I don't dream about it. Yet, I wouldn't mind going back to Stohrer and trying other things 😋 (and / or the baba again 😜). I almost forgot: as opposed to other places in Paris, I didn't find Stohrer extremely expensive. In fact, less than €6 for that huge (historical) baba seemed quite fair. 👏 . . . Quality & taste: 8/10 Quantities: 10/10 Atmosphere: n/a Originality: 10/10 Ratio price / quality: 9/10 Service: 9/10 How I felt afterwards: 9/10

Bakery
Ble Sucre is a renowned bakery in a charming part of Paris, known for its top-quality breads and cakes. The bakery's terrace overlooking Square Trousseau offers a delightful atmosphere to enjoy their superior products. Visitors rave about the glazed madeleines, croissants, and dark chocolate slabs. Despite the occasional wait in line, patrons find that the buttery and crisp pastries, including the must-try pain au chocolat, make it well worth it.
It is very delicious and if you want to feel like buying a croissant from here is very important, you should definitely try it. I thought we would find every kind of croissant but there is not much variety. But the taste is perfect. The freshness is unique. Feel like a real French person. Get your croissant like them, go to the magnificent park right across the street, sit down and eat. It is great
Banibinu Ö — Google review
This bakery was highly recommended so we gave a try and tasted the croissants, the Canele and a couple cakes and everything was delicious. I don’t think is the best croissant I tried in France but you can tell is above average and among the best.
Angel O — Google review
I saw the cafe in a YouTube video and was worth the visit. One of the best croissant and pain au chocolate I have ever had. The size is super big and you can taste the rich butter flavour. Prizes are super cheap. I highly recommend
Yash D — Google review
Average prices. The staff wasn't very friendly, but they were attentive. We asked for a Croque Monsieur. They brought it burnt, but we had to replace it. The croissant was like a pastry, soft, and not as delicious as I expected. A complete disappointment. The eclairs were good. They gave a customer who came after us a toast wrapped in foil that had fallen on the floor. It was far below my expectations.
Yunus Ç — Google review
They speak English here and were friendly. We got the croissant and pain au chocolat; the croissant wasn’t the best we had, but it was still good. It had layers but it wasn’t crunchy and all that buttery. The pain au chocolate was the better of the two; had a nice crunch to it. I don’t know how much the drinks were individually but I got a latte and an orange juice for about 9 euros. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious - highly recommend you get it.
Sherluna V — Google review
The best croissant and pain au chocolat I have ever had. So good I had to go back and have another! Crispy, warm, and melting in your mouth. I wish I could package this patisserie in my pocket and take it home. Thanks for such an amazing breakfast
Roshan V — Google review
I should've not listen to Mark Wiens to try the croissant and pain aux chocolate here!Such a disappointment! There's no layers at all and everything sticks together! The bread is soft like a wet towels! Then the staff asked me to leave with a rude tone because I didn't say "sur la place'? But they didn't ask me how I wanted to eat it and just packed everything in a bag for me?! I was planning to have it there!
Yy Y — Google review
We were on vacation from the United States & are so happy we made it to Blè Sucre! We loved their handmade chocolate croissant, pastries, cappuccinos, lattes, & thick creamy hot chocolate. They were friendly and helpful. This was a recommendation and it did not disappoint! Great way to start your day! ☕️🥐

Patisserie
Bakery
"Des gâteaux et du pain" is a sleek patisserie in Paris led by the talented female pastry chef Claire Damon. Known for her haute-pastry skills, Damon offers a wide range of classic and creative French pastries, cakes, and breads. Her creations capture the spirit of classics while adding a contemporary twist. The pastry case showcases an eye-catching array of delights, including her signature violet and blackcurrant Saint-Honore.
Really really good bakery run by pastry chef propriétaire Claire Damon and her business partner , producing a very tasty seeded sourdough organic bread (500g) wich I highly recommande . She is also making tasty rhubarb turn over (chausson à la rhubarb) . Also very interesting « Lemon gâteau basque » for the lovers of butter.
MYR — Google review
The chocolate bread is very good, price: 2.1€ when you bite it you feel soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and the chocolate flavor is fanstatic. you can feel the taste of butter on your lips. I simply love it, however I could not say it is the best in all of paris, I will keep trying, and the price is higher compared to other bakeries. The service is very good, the lady who attended me, spoke english. They accept credit cards and I think there is no minimum purchase. Disadvantage: they don't have tables to eat bread, and they don't have much stock of bread, they don't serve drinks either.
Izamary W — Google review
The place is mostly famous for its cakes, but I tried their pain au chocolat pastry and it was one of the best I ever had. Generous, flaky, chocolatey, as it should.
Cyndie D — Google review
The galette des roi really amaze me The puff pastry is delicate like snowflakes but it won’t make a mess. The taste is very light, the puff pastry is a bit To my surprise, all the puff layers are well baked, bc I had so many galette which the inner part are undercooked. Overall, the price is very high(7€ for a slice) for the flavor
Sharon — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of sampling some cakes at Des gâteaux et du pain and I must say, they were some of the best I've ever tasted. The cakes were delicate, yet complex in flavour, and truly memorable. Each bite was a decadent experience that left me wanting more. The textures were perfectly balanced, with the cakes being both soft and moist. The flavours were complex, with each ingredient complementing the other.
Tsenka G — Google review
One of the Best pain du Chocolate in town! Price is definitely not cheap comparing to the average bakery in town but it worth it (at least the pain du Chocolate) And this is the first thing they sold out everyday - after 10am, it is really based on luck. I got the freshly baked butter croissant couple of times, and it is even better!!! Have to admit I am not a big fan of their cookies - expensive and taste average (€20+ for less than 200g)
Chris Z — Google review
Heavenly pastries. Yes it may be expensive but worth every penny for those who appreciate the art and the taste! Many of their pastries are “one of a kind” good. The one topped with mango , the pamplemousse, the Kashmir … been every day of every single visit to Paris and just can’t get enough. Cons: they can be/act a tiny bit snobby, I wish they weren’t of course, and maybe they realize one day that humility makes their art more precious. That said, it’s not as difficult to tolerate a bit of a snob if it’s coming from the best in the art!
World T — Google review
First off, why can't you take photos of your store? What an odd start to shopping at your store. Secondly, I found your staff standoffish. Thirdly, the desserts were all so bland. How is that even possible. Very disappointing. I just came from Rennes and had The Best Tarts from Pâtisserie Le Daniel & Maison Bouvier! Actually, I also had a delicious tart from a small place here in Paris called Les Gourmandes à Paris. Do check out these places.

Bakery
Mamiche is a renowned traditional bakery located in SoPi and the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The bakery is famous for its artisanal breads, cookies, pastries, and sandwiches. It's known for its long lines where customers eagerly wait to get their hands on shiny brioche buns, chocolate-scented babka, and pillowy croissants.
We have tried the almond croissant and the cookie, which was really tasty. But when we went there for especially trying their famous “babka”, they said the Owen was broken so going to update my review once I taste it; stay tuned! But, anyways, it’s a nice bakery🥰
Ece C — Google review
This bakery is definitely worth the hype it gets! There is always a queue but the service is very fast so it’s worth the wait. The pain au chocolat and the chocolate filled donut were the highlights. The only con is the pastries weren’t warm so therefore it’s a 4/5. But it’s a great place to start your trip in Paris 😍 I didn’t get the chance to try the sandwiches but they looked amazing too. Amazing prices as well, we paid €11 for 4 pastries!
Abigail X — Google review
One of my favorite boulangeries in Paris! Their brioche is truly some of the best I’ve had ,and the choux à la vanille, which is exceptional. And the beignets au chocolat? Absolutely my favorite. A must-visit for pastry lovers!
MICHELE M — Google review
This was the first place we went to in paris after dropping out bags off, and it did not disappoint! There was a queue going down the street at 10:00, but queue moved fairly fast. once inside, you’re greeted with the smell of pastry and butter! Would recommend the ham and cheese pastry and the almond croissiant. Bees also will greet you upon entry! Worth a visit if nearby!
Belly S — Google review
This is one of the best boulangerie in Paris! The pastries are great! Tries many of those: the cream filled pastry, the ham and cheese sandwich, banka. Specifically- the vanilla cream filled pastry is by far one of the best (and in great price!). Must try!
Itamar S — Google review
Nice bakery in Paris! I wanna buy everything! Come early in the morning so you get the breads really fresh! Location: It is located around 45 Rue Condorcet. It’s just a bakery with no seating inside. Great display of breads and pastries! You would want to buy everything. I came early and there was no line. Service: not much interaction, just pay and go. Food: Everything was good and fresh! CROISSANT: so flaky and soft inside! Best I had!! And it was huge! BABKA: another favorite! The chocolate inside is not too sweet! They weigh it so depends on how heavy it is that is what you are going to pay. PAN AU CHOCOLAT: well its like croissant combined with babka. The bread is flaky with bits of that chocolate. Price rating: 6/10. It was not expensive. Definitely will come back to try other breads and pastries they have.
Mark N — Google review
No seating, fast takeaway bakery. Fantastic bread. Queue builds up really quickly in the morning, so allocate some time for queuing but clears pretty fast.
Rand — Google review
So worth queuing! An excellent spot for fresh food and bakery. The baguette I have ordered for takeaway was filled to the brim with ham, accompanied by pickle and mustard and I savoured every single bite I have taken!!! Coffee was great too!

Angelina is a legendary tearoom that has been serving refined pastries and hot chocolate in a belle epoque-style setting since 1903. It's considered one of the best places for hot chocolate in Paris, especially for visitors to nearby museums like the Louvre. The luxurious tearoom offers an indulgent hot chocolate experience, served with whipped cream at a slightly high price. Breakfast and brunch are also delightful here, making it perfect for special occasions.
What an absolutely dreamy experience at Angelina! 💫 The prices are on the higher side, but trust me — the hot chocolate is 100% worth it. It's like a rich, velvety hug in a cup. And the atmosphere? Simply stunning! I felt like Marie Antoinette in the 18th century, surrounded by elegance and charm. The staff was absolutely wonderful — so friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky to arrive early, so there was no waiting at all, which made everything even better. My grandma also bought the box to make hot chocolate at home, and she’s completely hooked! It’s a perfect spot for special occasions — can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious, indulgent treat. 🍫✨
M S — Google review
I can see why people enjoy Angelina, but for the price I would say it is a bit overrated. Initially, I thought the chocolat chaud was delicious, but when it cooled down I realized it just tasted like melted chocolate ice cream. If that’s your thing, great. Personally, I would not pay €10,5 for melted chocolate ice cream. Ordered Le Goûter set which came with a selection of savories (pictured on the bottom), and five minis of their classics desserts, and a choice of drink (I went with the hot chocolate). For €37, it was incredibly small. The hot chocolate is a smaller size than what you get when you order hot chocolate individually. The bread on the egg sandwich was a bit stale. The avocado toast bite was rather plain. The sweets were fun. Overall, I would say if you don’t mind spending money on some overpriced pastries and drinks, Angelina delivers that Parisian tourist hot chocolate experience. However, I would not return. That said, our waitress was very sweet.
Jane — Google review
Angelina was a great brunch spot for our family. Is it delicious? Does it take an absurd amount of time to get in? Has it become a total influencer/tourist attraction? Yes to all. For me, the food was delicious. The service was top-notch. The atmosphere takes you to another place. And it was an over all pleasant experience. Would I go back? Probably not. But that's ok! I'm still giving it a 5-star review because I truly enjoyed the food.
Tony S — Google review
We had breakfast here and purchased pastries from the boutique. The staff in the cafe were very good as were the ones in the shop, polite, friendly and efficient. The room is a beautiful setting and their food and drinks were excellent. Great all round. We arrived early for breakfast and went straight in but when we left there was a long queue outside waiting to get in. If you’re just using the shop, skip the queue and just go straight in.
Carlo R — Google review
Beautifully appointed elegant tea room right out of the 1900's. The tables and chairs have been in place since the 1920s, the gilded decor and antique mirrors lendifil of earlier times. The drinking chocolate was amazing! Breakfast was as well. Service was excellent. I would highly recommend!
Dena M — Google review
Not worth the long wait times and the price. The hot chocolate is good - and the service is good at the takeaway cart outside, but the place is just not geared to handle the endless queues and large volumes of guests and the table service is subpar. Many cafes nearby and all around central Paris have equally good hot chocolate and pastries for less than half the price and much less waiting time.
Sanchit S — Google review
We finally arrived at the place that truly stole my heart – Angelina. Even before my trip, I thought this might just be a tourist trap, and because of that conviction, I wanted to go and try it for myself. Well, I can honestly say that the famous hot chocolate lives up to every bit of praise it gets! It was rich, velvety, and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted – without a doubt the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable, attentive without being overwhelming, and added to the experience. I also ordered the profiteroles, and they were just as outstanding – light, indulgent, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making the whole visit feel truly special. And the best part – we were there to celebrate my birthday, which made the experience even more memorable. This is without question a place worth experiencing if you’re in Paris.
Danail D — Google review
Overall food is pretty good. The chocolate is pretty good. wait time isn't too bad. we went on a weekday afternoon and got let in in 20 minutes. biggest problem I see is the service can be a hit or miss. I repeated asked for tap water but seems like the waitress forgot. I saw some tables served by other waiters got it without even asking.

Bakery
Du Pain et des Idées is a renowned bakery in Paris, known for its traditional French pastries and the signature "pain des amis" bread. The bakery's founder, Christophe Vasseur, takes pride in handcrafting the Friendship Bread, using organic flour to achieve its distinct flavor and crusty texture. In the morning, visitors can indulge in a variety of house-made pastries such as raisin rolls and different flavors of l'escargot (a traditional morning Danish).
Stumbled upon this bakery on our walk and I must say, it was one of the best I have tried in Paris. Their apricot tart with almond base is absolutely divine. Cannot wait to come back and try some other things too! Definitely a hidden gem.

Hi, Everything here is simply delicious - every baked good made with heart and utmost care. The decor of the bakery is beautiful and unique, full of charm and atmosphere that makes you want to come back. The staff are smug, passionate and welcoming. If you're in the area, it's worth trying everything, as each product is a little culinary masterpiece. Definitely one of the best places I've had the chance to visit!

Du Pain et des Idées is a must-visit bakery located in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, one of the city’s most authentic and surprisingly safe neighborhoods, where you can still find some of the most affordable living compared to central Paris. The bakery itself dates back to 1875, and you can feel its timeless charm the moment you step in. But the real joy comes when you sit outside: right in front, there are wooden tables where you can enjoy their unforgettable croissants and the famous escargot pastry. A little tip – grab a coffee from the lovely café just next door, then settle down at the bakery’s outdoor tables for the perfect Parisian breakfast moment. This combination of history, flavor, and atmosphere makes it not just a bakery stop, but a true Paris experience.

Croissants were very good, coffee was good but probably a bit overpriced. We were lucky that there was a short queue only when we went but the line was long moments later. Seating limited - only some bench tables outside. We had the pain au chocolates and the pistachio escargot - would recommend both.
Sindy T — Google review
best pastries I’ve had in Paris! We got pastries from so many places during our stay in Paris, but this was hands down the best one we tried! I got the Pain Suisse and it was still warm and so flaky - butter and chocolate perfection! Going back for more as soon as possible, truly the best pastries in Paris!
Francesca I — Google review
Extremely overrated, another overhyped photogenic spot… After hearing all the good things about it on social media, we were so looking forward to trying their pistachio snail but only to be left with disappointment. Completely agree with the other comments that it’s soggy and flavourless. You could barely taste the pistachio. To be honest, you don’t have to make a trip just for a croissant in Pairs. In my experience, with boulangeries around every corner of Paris, just head to the closest one to your location. Those frequented by locals would always do better pastries than the popular touristy places
Emma — Google review
This pastry shop lives up to the hype. There was a short line around 10 a.m., but it moved quickly. Two communal tables are available outside for seating. Several varieties of pastries lined the counter, with a special shout-out to the pistachio escargot and flan. My friend got the fig pastry and couldn’t stop raving about it the entire trip. If it were closer to our hotel, we would have visited daily.
Ngan — Google review
Beautiful pastries in a cozy and nice space. I liked how they had a side window to hand over the drinks so the line in the store didn’t seem to get too long. I had “le flan” and it was the perfect complement to their hot chocolate, which was more on the unsweetened side.

La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac is a renowned establishment led by the well-known chef Cyril Lignac, who has made a name for himself through TV shows and cookbooks. This patisserie offers a wide range of delectable desserts created in collaboration with pastry chef Benoit Couvrand. The signature dessert, Equinoxe, is an innovative creation featuring Bourbon vanilla cream, salted caramel, and crispy speculoos.
Amazing tartes and breads, visually appealing store and super nice service. It's hard to choose among the beautiful tartes and desserts but the Entremets Cerise was artfully done and delicious the olive bread also very tasty.

Omg! The croissants, pains au chocolat and pains au raisin are heavenly! Also bought the lemon tarts/cake for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was so good!!! Best patisserie in the neighbourhood!

I love the pastries here equinoxe is my favorite. A little pricey but they’re the best pastries I’ve had while in Paris!
Olivia F — Google review
My daughter's friend found this place near the hotel Elysees Union where we stayed for our trip in Paris. The pastries here are extremely tasty and the crusts are excellent. We had mostly croissants, chocolate and custard filled pastries. We had them practically every morning. The prices are quite reasonable.

I tried the chausson aux pommes after reading other reviews. The pastry was flaky and appetizing but the filling was puree which I didn’t prefer as I don’t like the texture of apple sauce.

La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac exceeded all expectations during our visit! 🍰 From the delectable Le Tigre to the flaky croissant, indulgent chocolatine, and irresistible madeleine, every pastry we sampled was simply divine. 😍 It's no wonder this establishment boasts such high ratings – the quality and taste are truly exceptional! 🌟 Whether you're a local or a visitor, a trip to La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac is an absolute must for anyone with a sweet tooth.

This place has a very very good croissant, one of the best in Paris!!! I visited this place two years after watching a video from Alex The French Guy on YouTube, really good video of Paris’ best croissants! Not only was the croissant but excellent, you must also try “Le Tigre” pastry, it was absolutely delicious!!!!

I had seen many reviews for this Pâtisserie and was a little skeptical thinking if it's just a hype. But definitely not! It maybe a little expensive considered to other places but it is a must try! Staff was also very friendly and explained the flavours of the cakes on display. I bought a cake for 6, which was their signature, must try cake and yes it was delicious! I was too tempted to try out the other mini versions as well and they were all really tasty. Must try in Paris! 👍

Boulangerie Utopie, a beloved neighborhood bakery, was established by two former Maison Laduree pastry chefs and has been at the forefront of the artisanal baking movement for the past decade. The bakery is renowned for its diverse offerings, including eye-catching activated-charcoal baguettes, black sesame rolls, and innovative croissants in chocolate and almond varieties. Their unique sourdough croissant made with tangy Montagu butter sets them apart from traditional pastries.
Utopie lived up to the hype for us. We really enjoyed the baguette, apple turnover, and almond croissant. The croissant was just good compared to the rest. The baguette was very crunchy and soft on the inside with a fragrant sourdough smell that not all places have. It definitely makes it more flavorful. The apple turnover was very crunchy as well with fresh apples inside. Almond croissant had a very nice texture with the paste. They really know how to make things crunchy here. Would definitely recommend if in Paris and the earlier you go in the morning the better. The prices are also very reasonable!
James — Google review
One of the best boulangerie I’ve ever been to. As a sesamephile and yuzu lover, this place brought together three loves: pastry, sesame, and citrus. The yuzu sesame flan was sublime. Flan was not too sweet, had good black sesame depth, and yuzu was perfectly present. I had croissant as a litmus test and comp to other bakeries: 10 outta 10. Staff is friendly and let me order in terrible French. Coffee is okay but you’re not here for that.
Kevin U — Google review
good but not amazingly good, the apple turnover was too heavy with not much of the fillings, croissant was good, but the outside can be more crispy, and sesame roll is a bit sweet for me, and lack of sesame flavor, the baguette was with a sour flavor. there was a line but moved fast.
Alex S — Google review
I went here because of social media. There was a bit of a line and a wait around 1 pm on a Sunday. I ordered the apricot pastry, which was good. Very flaky. Because of the line, I really didn't have time to browse and make a proper selection. The bakery was rather small and no place to sit, that is saw. There is no outdoor seating. I would return if in the area.
Sharon O — Google review
We visited Boulangerie Utopie a few times while in Paris in an attempt to try the black sesame roll. We went at 10:45 AM during our first visit on a Tuesday and they were sold out. We got to try a lot of items due to the multiple visits. We went around 7:30 AM on our other visits and the bakery cases were full and most of the pastries we got were still warm. Note that they don't serve sandwiches in the morning. Apple turnover - really flakey and full of apples. Be prepared for crumbs. Croissant - good all butter croissant Pain Au Chocolat - good pain au chocolat Sesame Roll - great for black sesame lovers Cinnamon Roll - wasn't bad but wouldn't need to get this again Pain Suisse - good Almond Pistachio Croissant - good Fig Tart - really pretty but the fig flavor was mild Pecan Dome - good Mini Black Sesame Madelines - skip, not a super strong black sesame flavor and a bit dry
Vivian A — Google review
I was on the hunt for the best croissant in Paris, and not only did I find it, I also found the best baguette. But the word is out — there was a line behind me twelve or thirteen deep. Had adorable Halloween croissants, too.
Sarah F — Google review
Best croissant in Paris IMO. Croissant with the right amount of flakiness, buttery yet not overly so, not doughy yet retaining that right amount of breadiness. Tried a few famous bakeries known for their croissants and Utopie was my favorite hands-down. A croissant only cost about 1.7 euros (or something around that). In comparison, another famous bakery not too far away was charging 3.8 euros per croissant (and that one was tasteless ironically).

Le Petit Grain is a popular bakery in Paris, known for its photogenic bread display and favored by the fashion crowd. The owner, Edward Delling-Williams, also runs the well-regarded restaurant Le Grand Bain just across the street. The bakery's specialty is the Kouign-amann, a Breton pastry with layers of sugar and salty butter, given an earthy twist with ginger and sesame seeds.
The pecan pastry is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. I was hesitant to come here at first because the reviews say the staff is rude but it was fine for me, even as a non-French speaker. I also got a small piece of the buckwheat bread with seeds. Only thing is that it was $10 for both pastry and quarter piece of bread which felt a bit expensive to me…

Good bakery with unique flavors for their pastries! Kouign amann which has seasame & ginger.

It’s a Boulangerie to take away. I was craving for a good croissant( I realised it’s not that easy to find in Paris) and it was exactly what a found. If you are around Belleville don’t hesitate to pass through and take one of their croissants or pain au chocolate. Also I try a pastry from Brittany. So good. Take it and go to the channel nearby.

We came here every morning for a pastry since our hotel was on the corner. Delicious pastries, we especially loved the pain au chocolat! (only €2,20?!) Crispy, flakey and quite big of size. Would definitely recommend!

Really, I mean REALLY good bread. I tried almost everything and its always good. Would recommend also cinnamon brioche and banana bread, sandwiches are also usually good. I lowered the grade because one of the girls on the counter is very unpleasant to talk to and to my [luck] shes often there in the morning. The others are super nice though.

Pierre Hermé is renowned for his exquisite pastries, particularly his macarons and viennoiseries. His croissant, inspired by the Ispahan macaroon, features a buttery base with a rosewater glaze, raspberry flakes, and fillings of raspberry and lychee jelly along with rose-scented almond paste.
This little shop is a great place to stop by to get the famous macarons of Pierre Herme. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and speaks excellent English. You can get your macarons in a pretty metal box which is a nice memory for a tourist, and I must say they really are delicious. I also liked it how the macarons come with a flyer listing all the variants the Pierre Herme shops have, so that you can easily check which macarons your collection happened to have. Probably you wouldn’t otherwise remember it, so save the flyer! Maybe the price of the macarons is somewhat higher than in an average bakery, but in fact I was surprised how the prices were actually not even nearly as high as expected. The 4-piece package cost between 14 and 15 euros, which is not super much higher than what the average macarons would cost.

Single macaron € 2.9 I chose praline pistachio and the lovely staff recommended rose flavor one so I tried those two macarons. I usually don’t like desserts with flower scents but rose flavored macaron was so much better than I expected:) It didn’t smell like artificial things. I could see why she told me this one is their most famous one! And pistachio one was another level. If you like pistachio or other kinds of nuts, must try it! + the staff was extremely kind so even if I couldn’t speak French I’ve never gotten in trouble in making an ordering🥹❤️ Thank you so much!
Nikki S — Google review
The macaroons were lovely. I recommend the apricot, which is a seasonal flavor and Jardon which is one of their famous flavors. I would give five stars but they closed earlier than the time listed online which was disappointing
Gabi B — Google review
Our group each got one macaron to try first so we could taste the flavours before deciding what to buy. The macarons themselves were delicious, and one asian staff member who helped us was very friendly. However, another worker seemed to laugh at us for only getting one macaron each, making a comment to her coworker, which felt unnecessary and a bit condescending. It made the experience uncomfortable, even though two people in our group (who were served by the friendlier worker) still ended up purchasing boxes. A shame, as the macarons were genuinely great.

Exquisite desserts- the hazelnut mille feuille was outstanding. Macaroons are excellent, we had rose and bergamot and caramel butter. It is a must try if you’re in Paris. Beautifully presented as take aways and gifts.

Finished my dinner and had a desire for macaroon. Although i was pretty fill up with food, the craving for just one macaroon got the better of me. Google and found this place. Bought chololcate and passion fruit as per recommendation ( i think it is called Mogador), and brought it back to the hotel to savour with some wine. It is good. I will buy again, in larger quantity, if timing permits.

Very poor service to foreigners. We first came in and picked out a few macarons and chocolate for takeaway and the cashier lady re-confirmed :”That’s it?!” We were not happy but I have decided to try their pistachio panettone on my way out since we have traveled far to come here. The panettone cost $35 and it was so dense and tasted just like an ordinary orange blossom brioche. Apart from their macarons, I don’t recommend anything else.
Piyu P — Google review
Without a doubt, this was one of the most perfect desserts I've ever had. It was perfectly balanced, and the vanilla flavor was outstanding. I could definitely eat another one. And I'd love to try something else, too! They have croissants, macarons, and there were even some jarred fruit spreads. Yum! This place is so divine. Pâtisserie Carl Marletti is a renowned pastry shop named after its owner, a distinguished gourmet dessert chef. The establishment prides itself on exquisite presentation, precise craftsmanship, and exceptional flavors. What sets it apart is the incorporation of scents into traditional pastries as a tribute to Marletti's florist partner. The signature Lily Valley cake, infused with violet scent, and the award-winning Lemon Tart are just some of the highlights.
I don’t want to tell anyone about this bakery and would prefer to keep it my hidden gem. I came in to purchase one dessert for myself and after devouring it, I went back to pick up other treats for my family! Half of their stock was already gone within that time. If you aren’t a fan of something too sugary, the chantilly nougatine is a must try. It’s very light but the flavours are so well balanced. The cream on top is refreshing and it’s my new favourite dessert. They packaged the desserts very well and they came out of the box without a scratch after being in subways and a busy bus. The associates were very kind and even packaged one of my desserts separately so it wouldn’t tumble on the others. Can’t wait to return! The only con I can see for others is the price point. For the box I purchased (5 items) was around 44 euros.

I love this bakery with all my heart ❤️ I go there every chance I get. All the small desserts are amazing, from the big cakes I love the white raspberry cake 🎂 I've been getting it for years. Definitely recommend trying some of their sweets!! Just grab one dessert and sit in the nearby cafe with coffee, it's the best! Or park just across the pâtisserie BUT I DON’T recommend ordering additional drawings on the cake 😂🥲 Don't get me wrong - I appreciate the work and effort that might go into this, but I had slightly different expectations. Below I've attached a picture of what I ordered and what I got. Not bad, but yeah, haha. However the cake was delicious!! 🤤

We were strongly recommended this pâtisserie by a local shop owner in the Montmare area. So of course we HAD to try it. The deserts are amazing! They look unreal and taste even better. We were experiencing serendipity to get to this place being pastry lover. We were in the area and attracted to buy pastries from Carl Marletti because of the long queue. My favourite is the Belle-Helene tart. OMG! It might be the best pastry I have tried in my life. Such a complexity of flavours: the chocolate almond cream and poached pear create amazingly tasty contrast in fruity and sweet tastes. We tried the Feather that was also great and the caramel eclair. They didn't had everything because it was December 31st. But it worth going back to Paris to enjoy these amazing original pastries. I will get huge box of pastries next time! If you are visiting Paris definitely worth going here. Thank you for providing such a great pleasure!

Ladurée is an upscale bakery with Parisian roots, renowned for its exquisite French macarons available in a variety of flavors. The brand gained widespread recognition after featuring in the 2006 film Marie Antoinette, where actress Kirsten Dunst indulged in their macarons. Known for their signature pastel-colored macarons, Ladurée has recently shifted focus under the leadership of pastry chef Claire Heitzler towards prioritizing quality ingredients and seasonal variations.
Visiting Ladurée Champs-Élysées is truly a magical Parisian experience. Located on the world’s most iconic avenue, this elegant tea room combines French luxury, history, and indulgence all in one place. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a refined décor that perfectly blends tradition with Parisian chic. The staff is attentive, professional, and always ready with great recommendations, whether it’s for their world-famous macarons or the signature pastries. The macarons are, of course, the highlight—delicate, perfectly balanced, and bursting with flavor. Pairing them with a pot of their fragrant tea or a rich hot chocolate makes for an unforgettable treat. Their brunch and dessert menus are also excellent, offering a wide selection of French classics prepared with finesse. Whether you sit inside their beautifully decorated salon or outside with a view of the Champs-Élysées, the atmosphere is simply enchanting. It’s more than just a café—it’s a true Parisian institution where every visit feels special.

A Glimmer of Parisian Grandeur on the Champs-Élysées Amidst the bustle of the Champs-Élysées, Ladurée’s flagship salon offers a serene retreat, a pastel jewel box that feels indulgently Parisian. While the avenue brims with global commerce, stepping inside transports you to a world of elegance and charm. The recent renovations have enhanced its timeless appeal, blending Belle Époque sophistication with modern comfort. The ornate interiors now feel warmer and more inviting, perfect for afternoon tea or a leisurely lunch. Of course, the stars are the macarons. Each delicate bite — whether the floral rose or the indulgent salted caramel — balances crispness with tender sweetness, a hallmark of Ladurée’s craft. The pastries are no less impressive, miniature works of art that delight both the eyes and the palate. Though often labeled a tourist pilgrimage, the attentive service and consistently superb quality elevate the experience well beyond cliché. Ladurée remains a place to savor not just French patisserie, but a touch of Parisian perfection, right on the world’s most famous avenue.

Wow! I had high expectations for the macarons but was stunned by the beauty of the shop. They have curated this location so beautifully; you are in a dream being there! This is a must stop location in Paris.

Ladurée is a truly enchanting Parisian café. We tried their macarons and coffee here, but the experience goes far beyond that, the atmosphere itself is captivating. The setting is elegant and charming, and the macarons are absolutely delicious. To be honest, I’ve had macarons of similar quality in Türkiye as well, but the ambiance here makes everything feel more special and refined. Places like this are not just about taste- the whole experience comes together as one. It’s definitely a spot that deserves a place on your Paris list.

Very nice place, very cute french vibes. They have a restaurant, we didnt eat there. Its expensive. On the side door you can stand in line for the macrons. They use jam and not frosting, they were the best you will ever try most likely. Worth it to try. They have probably about a dozen or so flavors. You get a nice box with your purchase. They serve hot drinks and other sweets we didnt try them.

I honestly expected this place to be a big tourist trap, but the truth is I really loved it. Yes, we had to wait in line to be seated, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious – we ordered avocado toast, a burrata salad, a cocktail, and hot chocolates. Everything was beautifully prepared, and the hot chocolates were simply incredible! The service was excellent as well – attentive, professional, and very welcoming, which made the experience even better. To top it all off, we picked up some macarons at the end to take home as gifts, and they were delightful. Overall, it turned out to be a wonderful experience, much better than I had anticipated. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Visited Ladurée because of the hype and to finally try their famous macarons. The interior was absolutely beautiful—very elegant and aesthetic, which definitely adds to the experience. We expected a long wait, and it was indeed quite a while. Unfortunately, the coffee was below basic, and the macarons were just okay. I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. What disappointed us the most was the service. The staff were quite unfriendly. We asked for a table upstairs and were told there were none available, but after, we walked upstairs and found that half the space was empty and not reserved. Overall, it’s a pretty place but the service and quality didn’t quite live up to the hype.

My son and i were passing this before Christmas and we immediately went in as the display is fantastic. The patisseries are so beautiful and super inviting. The cakes that we bought were beyond our expectations. The chocolate cake (Toulouse Lautrec) is not just a dark chocolate cake. It has two layers together with some crunchy nuts which provides balanced texture and flavours. The framboise tart is delicious as well. Fresh berries plus light cream, good combination! Would come back for sure.

This is probably the best pastries I’ve had in Paris. The flavors were unique and delicious. The macarons were flavorful. The pastries looked as beautiful as they were tasty. The shop was is just across the street and few door down from another pastry shop that was recommended but frankly I wasn’t impressed by what I saw at the other shop. Arnaud’s macarons had a nice rise and feet as opposed the other shop down the road. The Hawaii tarte was probably the next to the least favorite of the items I had; it had a nice rose flavor and a slight lychee flavor but overall didn’t have the same punch as the pastries. The Ivorie had a refreshing fruit jam center. The salted caramel eclair was the least favorite item— it was too salty for my taste. Pavlova Retour d’Hanoi was a hit with the light coffee flavor and coconut. This place it take out only.

The macarons were good. The seasonal Noel macaron was excellent. The eclair was okay. The pastry of the eclair did not taste fresh. It was a shame as the chocolate on top and filling were good. I didn’t finish it and had to throw it out.

Arnaud Larher is the most premium bakery we visited on our trip to Paris last year. The helpful staff were the friendliest Parisians we met, and they let us practice our French while ordering. We tried the millefeuille praline and tarte Honolulu. Both were some of the most exquisite desserts I have ever tried. Don't be intimidated by the prices here, you get what you pay for. I have friends and family that could not fathom spending 6-8€ for a modestly sized treat. But, if you've ever wondered why the French are considered bakery artists Arnaud Larher is the place that will convince you that they earned that title fair and square.

The eclair was delightful and full of flavours Pretzel soft and tasty Lovely spot Highly recommend

Very good pastry shop offering a wide range of options. Products are fresh and beautifully arranged. Staff is nice and welcoming.

Only tried one item from here, a cheesy soft pretzel but it was sooooo delish and I wish I had more. €10 credit card minimum. So many delish options to choose from that it was hard to pick just one. Definitely need to go back for more next time I’m in town. Also not crowded at all and a quick purchase.

Excellent pastry. Bought their Eclair, although it’s €5 each (slightly expensive), but the quality is top notch which makes every penny counts. Highly recommended!

Beautiful patisserie! The pastries here are like works of art! They’re too pretty to eat, but they taste soooo good! This is one of my favorite places in Montmartre for croissants and cakes! They’re worth the money!
Rose P — Google review
Very average, not worth a visit. We tried their chocolate eclair and 2 madeleines (lemon and praline) that are their best sellers. The eclair was way too sweet, you could barely taste the chocolate at all. The madeleines were okay, but not worth a detour.

Incredible selection, very friendly. Almond croissant done just the way I prefer. Excellent structure, nice amount of marzipan and nice toasty almonds atop...Oh and great cup of espresso, good value all around.

One of the best croissants and pain au chocolate I had in Paris! It was ultra fluffy with so many lamination layers while not being too heavy tasting! The madelines are also quite amazing here!

Poilâne is a small bakery in Paris known for its meticulous artisanal process, from pastry-making to baking. Their flagship product, the miche, is a substantial sourdough loaf with a robust crust and dense crumb. Despite language barriers, the friendly staff offers reasonable prices and delicious baked goods. Visitors are greeted by the enchanting scent of freshly baked pastries and a charming ambiance that transports them straight to the heart of Paris.
This is probably my most visited boulangerie in Paris and, in my opinion, rightfully so. They have a small selection of pastries to choose from and a few are showcasing apples. I've had the apple tart several times and it is my favourite classic I've tried. This time I tried the chausson aux pommes which wasn't as good bit in no way bad. Smooth and a bit sour apple puree inside a flaky and buttery shortcrust pastry which is as light as a cloud and just melts in your mouth. I think I could of had 3 of these because they're so moreish and not heavy at all.

Came here because of the good reviews in search for the best baked goods in Paris. Took a chance on the chausson sale which was delicious, buttery pastry, well-seasoned potatoes with lots of herbs and spices. Also got their unique chocolate savoir-faire, which was a very nice cookie with a snap and a balanced chocolate slab inside. Would love to come back to try more of their creations!

The Tartelette Aux Pommes (Apple Tart) was awesome and delicious. Would definitely recommend if you craving for a good apple tart. Sable Fourre (Biscuit with Chocolate Filling) was a good biscuit with dark chocolate filling. Bonhomme Pain D’Epices (Gingerbread Man) was interesting. It was an actual ginger bread instead of ginger cookie. The ginger bread was okay overall but prefer the ginger cookie style :)

We were very happy going to Poilane. We usually order loaves by FedEx for special occasions, so it was a treat to visit a physical location. Our French is terrible but the staff was cordial and we were able to communicate reasonably well.

Small little bakery with amazing food. Open early with very friendly staff, even though we spoke no French. They did understand some basic English words, enough for us to describe and ask what some things are. For where it is located, we found the price very reasonable, see the picture below for what we got for under 15€ (3 of each and ¼ of a large sourdough). If you are in the area, I would recommend having a look, or picking something up on the way to the Tower to eat.

Cannot describe in words. Products from this patisserie are delicious. I tried few, pictures are posted. Also did try their croissant and other food items too, but was busy eating and completely forgot to take pictures. Must try!
Nilesh B — Google review
We visited because Laurent Duchene was on several lists for the best croissant in Paris. This was definitely NOT the case and Laurent Duchene was a huge disappointment. Their croissant is not buttery or flaky at all and tasted like a bread roll. Not sure what happened but we either went on a bad day or their quality has fallen off drastically. The croissants at my hotel's breakfast buffet are better than their croissants. If taking the metro here and getting off at Convention station, there is a fabulous bakery right at the corner of Vaugirard and Alain Chartier - It does not show on Google Maps for some reason but the awning said "Artisan Boulanger". We had several items from here and they were all fantastic.

We had croissants here, it's said that it has the best croissants in Paris, so the expectations levels up. Though the croissants were good, it would be exaggeration to credit it as the best one in Paris.

Poilâne is a renowned family-owned bakery in Paris, with a rich history dating back to 1932. The bakery, located between the Saint Germain and Montparnasse areas on the Left Bank, is famous for its signature sourdough pain de campagne made with stone-ground flour and baked in original 18th-century ovens. The business has been passed down through three generations, currently led by Apollonia Poilane.

Great bakery, bread was good but was even more impressed by the pain aux chocolat and flan. Pain aux chocolat was probably the best I had in Paris! Flan had a nice custard similar to an egg tart.

The best flan I’ve tried in Paris and I’ve hit up dozens of places! The filling was flavoursome and light, the crust was perfect (crunchy and held everything together perfectly). I was really impressed. The other pastries are very good but it was the flan that stood out as the best in Paris.

L’Éclair de Génie, founded and led by chef Christophe Adam, is a must-visit in Paris for an extra-delicious casual lunch. The establishment offers a variety of eclairs in playful flavors and colors, drawing inspiration from around the world and reinterpreting tastes with French products. Additionally, it features gluten-free cookies that can be enjoyed on-site or taken to go.
The store is like a dessert boutique with all the éclairs beautifully presented. Both the éclair de pistache (pistachio) and the éclair de vanille (vanilla) were delicious. The choux pastry was light and airy filled with a beautifully flavoured and balanced cream. The pistachio and vanilla fillings were authentic. The glaze and nutty garnishes enhanced the flavour and provided a needed crunchy texture elevating the desserts. There isn't indoor seating so I'd recommend either carefully taking the éclairs home or having it in a nearby garden: Jardin des Rosiers Joseph Migneret.

Nice shop very clean, great selection but most of them would be gone early in the day. Still you can try any of their eclairs they are all delicious! They are helpful if you have any questions about the sweats and would answer further questions about the shop, their products if the shop isn’t crowded. We had a lovely conversation.

A place with lovely eclairs and chocolates. Each eclair is so beautiful, although the prices are more expensive than other patisseries. The staff are very friendly and helped with ensuring the products I bought suited my allergies. It's a lovely indoor space, but I wish we could have eaten at the shop rather than only have take out options.

Both éclairs were just amazing. Especially the passion fruit éclair was the best dessert I ate in Paris. Macaroons were also very nice. Also, the manager was very kind, welcoming visitors with a nice smile. There's no reason not to visit this place!
Joseph L — Google review
Beautiful eclair shop, wide variety of flavours of eclairs. It was a little bit steep per eclair (£5 each) but we’re in Paris. We tried the passionfruit, the yuzu and the dark chocolate, all of which were just divine... I didn’t expect the pastry to be tougher than the fluffy eclairs we’re traditionally used to, but all in all it was delicious. Paired with hot genmaicha to wash it all down, it was the perfect shelter from a rainy afternoon!
Vanessa L — Google review
Something you try once and taste 2 flavors or more. I had the pineapple with passion fruit which was fruity and fresh . The salted caramel one was good as well more on the sweet note . The filling is quite liquid not very creamy and heavy . Each piece is 6.50 euros otherwise u can have 4 mini pieces for 12 euros or box for 35 euros . Size is not fulfilling. They had limited selection though.
Melted B — Google review
Nice looking shop, great selection of eclairs. They sell chocolates too which make great souvenirs. Bought the tasting set to try the different flavours, good quality. A little on the pricier end. Honestly speaking, not mind blowing. I’ve had better ones in Singapore (oops, sorry Paris)

Jacques Genin is a renowned establishment located in the IIIe arrondissement of Paris, offering a delightful combination of a light-filled café and a charming tea salon. The interior features an understated yet rustic décor with exposed brick walls, metal beams, and leather sofas.
Very nicely presented chocolates, caramels and fruit pates. You can go for premade mixed assortments or do your own. Service is friendly and speaks English but with two and at times only one attending the lone for quite long, especially since most customers took some time to choose individually and from more than one category of products. High end products at rather high end prices, but worth an indulgence.
Naomi R — Google review
Chocolates were fine, 9 small pieces for 14euros is obviously expensive but theres some complexity The caramel though, 22euros for this small bag is simply crazy. 135euros per kg The taste is quite unique, although it's really not incredibly good. It's like hard caramel candy mixed with soft chewy candy, it's almost half liquidy in how malleable it is. The taste is interesting too, on top of the usual caramel taste there's another hint, although again it's definitely not good enough to warrant the price. Not sure why it's so popular, if you must come here, maybe try one or two caramels at most, definitely don't get the whole bag. For reference pictured costs me 37euros. Ridiculous
Yizhou W — Google review
I have no issue with shops closing for summer vacation, but to walk across Paris for 45 minutes in 34c heat as my son wanted to go to this shop after watching YouTube videos to discover its closed is unacceptable and frankly arrogant on the basis you can't be bothered to update Google maps with shop opening times. A simple task to do, and shows courtesy.

Easily the most beautiful heavenly chocolatier. Gorgeous and delicious jellies so fresh and vibrant tasting. And those caramels, buttery and soft, rich and delicious. But wait, the chocolate! This place is RIDICULOUS! I've gone in twice and had to wait forever. The chocolate buying process is so slow and they have two people at most working there. Nothing is worth waiting the times you are required to wait for a product. No issue with salespeople. Issue with how cheaply the very expensive store is run. You can't have a big store with a product that takes a long time to prepare and have only two salespeople. Or you can, but you're going to lose a lot of business. I have no plans to return.

Simply the best chocolatier in Paris, perhaps the world. Magnificent. Blessedly, they ship fresh, beautiful chocolates to the USA. Amazingly fast service direct from Paris through the website. A miracle. Super good experience. Prices are approachable! We order every month for our office & home and treasure every delicious, luxurious morsel. When we do begrudgingly share, everyone who tastes becomes quite OBSESSED. Jacques Genin is our chocolate hero. You can really taste the love .

Fauchon, a renowned gourmet food and dessert store established in 1886 by Auguste Fauchon, is adored by both locals and tourists. The main boutique and bakery on Place de la Madeleine offer an array of luxurious pastries, including their famous macarons available in 13 flavors. The limited-edition macaron flavors are particularly exciting, with special editions like the Olympics-themed macaron created in collaboration with chef Pierre Herme.
Could not pick a better place to during my first time visit of Paris! Everything and everyone was great. The hotel was clean, Cosy, comfortable and all the staff were outstanding. We have loved that we could have breakfast every day at our hotel room without any additional charge. The location was also fantastic and very practical (you're close to the shops and Louvre). We are very thankful for the time we got to spend at Fauchon hotel ❤️

⚠️ Be cautious if you’re a tourist. This restaurant knowingly took advantage of us as foreigners and overcharged our meal. We ordered a light brunch with an oyster and a small lunch plate, but the server changed our order without consent and increased the price. When it was time to pay, the server avoided us and sent a coworker—who had not served us—to bring the check instead. To make matters worse, the food was mediocre and definitely not worth the inflated cost.

Dinner at Le Grand Café Fauchon was a highlight of Paris. We started with the Foie gras de canard du Sud-Ouest « maison », served with toasted brioche and figs — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The main was the Filet de Bœuf de race normande, tender and juicy, paired with morel cream, spelt, and a pepper sauce that added real depth. For dessert, the iconic Bisou Bisou stole the show — a glossy red lips creation with red fruits, almond crunch, and vanilla cream. Playful, elegant, and unforgettable. Great wine pairings, attentive service, and a stylish atmosphere made the whole experience memorable.

A Must-Have Experience in Paris It’s definitely worth the experience. Fauchon is a place that delivers on elegance and flavor, it’s the kind of place you should try at least once while in Paris. The pastry shop Patisserie Yann Couvreur is a highly acclaimed establishment located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The unique selection of pastries and desserts available on-site make it a popular choice for visitors, locals, and even celebrities alike. The bakery also specializes in taking pastries and desserts to go, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their delicious treats at any time.
A friend handcarried back the CAKE MARBRÉ COCO CHOCOLAT AU LAIT. It’s so good I am getting every friend who passes by Paris to help me pick one up. It’s been a week since we kept the cake after she returned and I just had a slice - the combination of Amande, coconut and chocolate is simply divine. I took a look at the website , so here now : wish I may, wish I might, get to taste the LE PARIS BREST from YANN COUVREUR someday 🤍

This bakery is a regular stop for me whenever I'm in town. This particular location (they have a few) is convenient and has a pleasant atmosphere – it's not usually too crowded or difficult to access, which makes it good for a weekend visit. You can check out the display before picking from a range of classic and modern pastries, like croissants, bostock, flans, and various mini cakes and tarts. They show skill with subtle but unique flavours and interesting textures in each bite. Grab a pastry and tart and find a spot at one of the counters along the windows. One relevant thing for 2025 though is that their bid to be eco friendly results in a disastrous cardboard spoon which isn't really effective at anything, so be sure to grab at least the flimsy wooden fork to cut through any tarts and cakes.

Amazing pastries and entremets! Their Paris-Brest is one of the best I've ever had, but other items do not disappoint. You can dine in, they offer coffee and other drinks to enjoy with your pastries. The vibe is welcoming and relaxed, which is not always the case at fine patisseries such as this.

I really liked this little boulangerie in Paris. The pastries were fresh and tasty—I had a croissant aux amandes and a chausson aux pommes, and both were really good without being too sweet. There’s also a small counter by the window where you can sit with a café and get some work done or just relax for a bit. It’s a quiet, comfortable spot that’s nice if you’re looking for a break during the day. Overall, a solid place for good pastries and a chill atmosphere.

Wow! The Paris Brest is something out of this world! I know it their best seller and it famous all around the world for it! It was also the only thing I took this time but I must come back to try other things as well. I really liked that this place have only few products and not many it shows the place quality and confident, and good that they have other shops around Paris so good for us :)

I think the photos speak for themselves. We went to pick the pastry. Despite pointing out the fact the icing was "running away", we were advised (saleswoman) to put it back in the fridge to bring it back to shape. Indeed the shape is interesting per se. As for the taste, well ... It tastes as it looks! Great brand, great advice, great pastry and surely a greater price for what it worth!

Yann Couvreur’s neighbourhood pâtisserie. The design is modern and fresh, with a chevron wood façade and one long case filled with pastries. A counter with bar stools runs the length of the window for guests to eat-in. The Tiffany-blue and gold fox-adorned packaging is just as adorable as the pastries within.

This is the best pastry shop in Paris. All of the pastries I tried were perfect, not too sweet, not heavy. The staff is outstanding in every location (we visited all three of them.... more than once...;) After eating here, we ended up just going back because pastries in other places were just too sweet and heavy. Atmosphere is chill and cozy. Definitely try the flan, pear and almond tart, kouign amann, and croissant (everything else is lovely as well, I just kept going back to these).

Au Petit Versailles du Marais is a charming bakery and tearoom that offers an array of pastries, tarts, cakes, and bread. Owned by the renowned master baker Christian Vabret, this establishment is a tribute to the art of baking. The interior is adorned with golden mirrors reminiscent of the famous Hall Of Mirrors in Versailles. With its origins dating back to 1860, the bakery retains its original painted paneling, adding to its quaint charm.
This stop was maybe the french place i visited in Paris. Good coffee and deserts. The interior send you back in time. We had great time here. This was my friend favorite place when he lived near by! Recommend!

What I’m rating with this 5 star is the bakery. Not the tea salon. The owner of the bakery is a MOF, which means he won a very harsh competition to get his title. He has been 2nd to the best baguette of Paris in 2014. Now what you should take is any viennoiseries : croissant, pain au chocolat, chausson aux pommes, pain suisse. Or any small pastries : the best being the Tarte Tatin. The Paris Brest and the Mille feuille are terribly good. The quiche looked very good, juicy, generous last time I went. Some French cakes are baked to hard, you are not supposed to eat them like but with a tea or a coffee. You come to a bakery, please choose a vegetarian option that is not a cooked dish ( potatoes, lettuces etc ) . i.e take bread items : almost everything is vegetarian then. I’m annoyed sometimes to see the bakery trying to make vegetarian dishes to please everyone, this goes against the essence bakery : which is to bake. I have read the comments saying that they overcharge when you sit, and it is true ( thanks to Mc Donald ) because the taxes to sit or takeaway are different ( 5,5% vs 20%, btw McDonald only pays 5,5 %) Also, about the friendliness of the staff, things are made from scratch, which means you may have someone who has been here since 4 am for the bakers, 6 am for the staff. They may be tired as they don’t just come at 8am to empty a fridge or worst : a freezer. Again, that tarte Tatin you are not going to find everywhere, and it is so well made. My family is from Normandy, and the apples he chose are perfectly acid enough to balance the sugar. A marvel. The whipped heavy cream on the top is cuddling.

We arrived in Paris today. This was our first stop after checking into our apartment just around the corner. We purchased several items for take away. This bread was striking in its appearance so we purchased it too. It was surprisingly dense and moist. Old world style. It had a wonderful flavor & texture. The staff was extra friendly and attentive even though the shop was a bit busy. Highly recommended by me.

During my first day exploring Paris this winter, I had the pleasure of starting my morning at this charming bakery. The experience was cozy and inviting, a perfect introduction to the city’s culinary delights. The coffee was rich and aromatic, a delightful companion to the flaky, buttery croissants, and the éclair was absolutely divine, striking the right balance of sweetness and texture. While the bakery itself offers a lovely experience for those nearby, I’d say it’s more of a local gem than a destination spot. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, it’s definitely worth stopping by. However, I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip from afar, as the essence of this bakery is best enjoyed as part of a broader exploration of the area’s offerings.

So Parisian! Beautiful surroundings and tasty treats! The pastries were buttery and flaky. The windows are full of pastries, quiches and breads from a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) winner. Excellent location for people watching too.

Fantastic baguettes, pastries, sandwiches and salads. We were here every single day during our visit to Paris.

Their products are absolutely fantastic, but the service is the problem here. The staff is not friendly at all (especially with tourists), they have no interest in helping you at all and they completely refuse to speak english to non-french customers. It is so rude and I came here many times trying to get past their disrespectful attitude, but I just refused to go anymore. I had to find another place in the area. A shame, I think they lost a lot of customers due to that. So, yes, the products are delicious, but it is not worth it.
Mara — Google review
I bought a sandwich and a drink and sat at one of their outdoor tables to escape the rain. Almost all the tables were empty, and I had just bought the food there, yet an employee rudely told me to leave because it was “takeaway.” I’ve never encountered such rude and humiliating behavior — especially in Paris, where every other bakery lets you sit outside. Totally unacceptable.

Pain Pain is a chic bakery, patisserie, and cafe located near the Sacre Coeur in Paris. Run by Sebastien Mauvieux, who won Best Baguette in Paris in 2012, this bright blue facade bakery offers classic French bread, cakes, pastries, and filled baguettes. Emphasizing on using ingredients from specially selected producers for utmost quality products.
Went for breakfast before walking through Montmarte. We tried a lovely spread that included quiche, chicken sandwiches, tomato & olive bread, eclairs, and baba au rhum. While everything was enjoyable, a few items truly stood out. The eclairs were absolutely delightful—light, perfectly filled, and just the right amount of sweetness. The baba au rhum was a standout as well: rich, indulgent, and soaked to perfection without being soggy. And the tomato & olive bread? Incredibly flavorful, with a rustic crust and savory depth that made it impossible to stop at just one slice. A well-rounded experience, but those three items alone make it worth a return visit.

Salmon Quiche was the nicest among the things bought. It’s fresh and has generous filling of salmon. Chocolate eclair is on a sweeter note, while cafe latte has very light coffee taste and strong milk taste instead. Pain suisse and mini croissant are both average and not as flaky as I thought it would be.

Super yummy fruit tart! The bite of it made me want more fruit during my Paris trip. Super fresh! It wasn’t extremely heavy to taste with sugar or custard on the lemon tart as well as the raspberry one! Highly recommend these pastries! Was also very intrigued to try the chocolate brioche cause it looked absolutely yummy and crisp! Huge line out the door, so come mildly hungry!! Jellycat also made a lemon and raspberry tart pastry and their tarts reminds me of them

Best Chou à la crème I’ve ever tasted. Not exaggerating at all. We bought macaron and tarte de citron too. It was really really good. Sure the price is higher than others but it’s worth every penny. Staff was friendly too. The sales is wrong. Their Japanese style is as sweet as French cake, if not sweeter. And note that matcha is very bitter. So if it already tastes overwhelmingly sweet, then this cake must contain an enormous amount of sugar.

I discovered this place on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. It’s an unusual and charming spot that offers a brunch menu à la carte rather than a buffet, which is a nice change from the usual brunch experience. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a laid-back meal. Great service, efficient communication, friendly staff and magical space. We were provided excellent customer service. All responses were prompt and professional. The food was very good and tasty. La Maison d'Isabelle, located in the Latin Quarter, proudly displays its 2018 Best Croissant in Paris award on a black awning. The bakery's croissants are known for their generous size and use of Charentes-Pouitou AOC butter blended with organic flour from Moulins de Brasseuil. Customers often wait around 10 minutes to savor these acclaimed pastries.
The best croissant in Paris. I researched to look for the best croissant bakery in Paris and I was so excited to try this bakery. The crispy crust and battery croissant was perfect. I went back to the bakery the next day and enjoyed it again. The line can be long but don't get scared, it moves quickly. I am still dreaming about the bakery.
Rie F — Google review
The place was packed, but the line moved quickly and honestly, it’s totally worth the wait. The croissant here might be the best I’ve ever had. Super flakey and crunchy on the outside, but soft and buttery inside, like a warm pillow that melts in your mouth. The baguette with salami and pickles was simple but perfect… super crunchy crust, soft center, and that deep, toasty flavor you only get from real French bread. I kinda didn’t expect something that plain to taste that good. The staff were nice, patient, and even switched to English without me asking, which helped a lot. The place was lively and the line was fun and kind of chaotic in the best way.
Moises G — Google review
Came to try their award winning croissant 🥐 is it life changing? Short answer: nope. Only really had croissants in USA or Asia and haven’t ever been overly impressed so would this change things? 🤔 The staff helped me despite not knowing any French. They are super quick cuz they know people are here for one thing. The croissant is really good. Maybe best I’ve had but not next level that I had hoped. What really boosts it is the price. Def recommend ✌️
James F — Google review
La Maison d’Isabelle is one of those rare Parisian boulangeries that makes you stop in your tracks — the buttery aroma alone is enough to pull you in. Their apple turnover is a true work of art: golden, impossibly crisp layers that give way to a tender, fragrant apple filling that’s perfectly balanced — never too sweet, just beautifully comforting. It’s the kind of pastry that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. And the croissant? Quite possibly one of the best in Paris — flaky perfection with a light, honeycombed interior and a deep, satisfying buttery flavour that lingers. You taste the craftsmanship in every fold. If there’s one pastry that didn’t quite steal my heart, it’s the raisin swirl — a touch too dense and sweet for my liking, especially compared to their exceptional standards. But that’s just a small note in an otherwise flawless symphony of viennoiserie. La Maison d’Isabelle remains a must-stop for pastry lovers — a bakery that celebrates tradition, mastery, and pure indulgence in every bite. 🥐🍏✨
Rodney L — Google review
Best croissant i’ve ever tasted!!! It definitely worth the wait (not very long tho). It was crispy from the outside and soft on the inside. I’ve tried 2 other artisan croissants in Paris (even the winner of 2023) but this one… is still the best for me. Kinda gonna miss it while being back to eating croissants in netherland :”) No place to sit so i ate this after a little walk to Notre Dame
Zin — Google review
I tried the plain croissant and the lemon tart — and both completely lived up to the hype. 🥐 The croissant was one of the best I’ve ever had. The outside is perfectly crisp and flaky, with layers that shatter delicately at the first bite. Inside, it’s soft, airy, and buttery without being greasy. It’s the kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate how good a simple croissant can be. 🍋 The lemon tart was refreshing and balanced — tangy but not too sharp, smooth but not overly sweet. The lemon curd had a silky texture and the crust was crisp and buttery, providing the perfect contrast. It’s light yet satisfying — perfect for a sunny Paris afternoon. The prices are incredibly reasonable given the quality. Totally worth it.
Charlie L — Google review
The croissant is to die for.. not sure how will I go back and eat the other croissants now that the standard bar has gone up so high because of this place. The croissant is super delicious, flaky, crispy just right and a yummy flavor of butter. A must visit if you are in Paris, you can thank me later ☺️☺️❤️❤️ I have also tried the Toscan which was yummy too.
Shishi — Google review
The croissant tasted like a toasted costco croissant. I am not an expert on croissants but I kinda expected a little more. The apple turnover didnt have enough apple in it, it was also too dry for my taste. The place looked good, there was an open market in front the day we went. We waited in a line for about 5mins. The women behind the counter had little patience for us trying to make a decision having just entered the line of sight of the sweets. We were expected to know what we wanted before we even saw everything so maybe try step into the store to look before you join the line.

This charming establishment is renowned for its signature creation—the praluline—a heavenly pink candied praline brioche loaf that has captured the hearts of many.
Had no idea what praluline was, but thought I will try it out. Very nice, taste like candied nuts in a brioche I especially loved the more crispy bits on the crust. Warmed up at home is great but mine was still warm when I got it. They wrap it up beautifully so can take it home or as souvenirs. Comes in small or large I had a small but will try the large next time. Their chocolate brioche was also good but too much chocolate for me.

CHAPON CHOCOLATE MOUSSE BAR, PARIS 🍫🇫🇷👌🏼 Paris is full of sweet temptations, but few are as iconic as the famous chocolate mousse from Chocolaterie Chapon in St. Germain. Saying it was heavenly is an understatement. The creamy, rich, delicious chocolate mousse is extraordinary! 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 Known for its velvety texture and rich, intense flavor, it’s the kind of dessert that has earned a cult following among locals and travelers alike. Each spoonful feels like a celebration of French craftsmanship in chocolate, smooth yet powerful, and absolutely indulgent. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Best decision of the day! The mousse was everything I hoped for—light yet decadent, perfectly balanced, and truly unforgettable. Sometimes the best Paris moments come when you least expect them, and this was definitely one of them! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

My sister saw this spot on Instagram and so we came here for an afternoon sweet treat. They gave us samples of chocolate while waiting in line and we had the choice or milk or dark chocolate. There were two different mousse options (milk or dark) and there’s a separate line inside or purchasing chocolates vs purchasing just mousse. The line is long but orderly thanks to the employees. Credit cards are accepted. Even though I’m usually a dark chocolate girly, I’d recommend the milk chocolate mousse. I’d also recommend splitting one between two people.

Arrived in Paris late in the afternoon and grabbed some sandwiches and a salad from this local Boulangerie based on a recommendation. Not a lot to pick from since it was the end of the day. tout autour du pan,134 Rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris, France i went for walk in the square du temple elie-wiesel early one morning as the girls were asleep and past this pâtisserie by happenstance on the way back to the apartment on a roundabout way to get to walk around Picasso museum along the Rue de Thorigny, this pâtisserie had steady flow of of costumers in and out yet only one person ahead of me, the attendant spoke English and was very kind. I purchased one croissant and two chocolate croissants and ate half a chocolate one on the way to the museum, you know that feeling as an adult when you taste something new for that first time.? your eyes close and you hold that taste in your mouth as long as you can, this was one of those times, I stopped walking, thinking, hearing, listening, maybe even breathing as the flavors filled my mouth and slowly melted in one. I don't think I chewed that first crispy buttery chocolate bite, I just let it melt, now I've eaten plenty of croissants in my life, none like this, never again like that!! i went back again a few days later on the morning of our last full day ,as i made breakfast for the girls and I

Great cookie. Good ratio of chocolate and walnuts. Great balance between crispy and gooey on the inside. I’m more of a flat and crunchy cookie, but this was a good one.

Buy here everyday Pain de campaign and baguettes cause it’s outstanding quality. Freshly baked Croissaints and Pain aux chocolot is a dream. Apple pie or chausson aux pommes is must. Pain aux épices is also simple and super delicious.

Aux Merveilleux de Fred is a French patisserie renowned for its signature creation, the Merveilleux. This delightful dessert features a meringue dome filled with luscious chocolate whipped cream and adorned with dark chocolate shavings. Visitors can observe skilled bakers crafting these treats on-site. In addition to the Merveilleux, the bakery offers freshly baked cramiques, brioches infused with chocolate chips.
This is an incredible bakery offering unique and delicious treats at excellent, affordable prices. The highlight of the place is the brioche, especially the chocolate brioche. If you’re lucky enough to get it fresh and warm straight from the oven, it’s an unforgettable experience.

Omg. We ran into this place by pure accident after lunch. We were stuffed from lunch, we even had dessert, but we had a third stomach to wolf down the treats from this place. What a gem with great chocolate chip brioche and meringue fluffy bite sized dessert. We are still dreaming of this and will go back tomorrow for breakfast to eat on the street. I will post more pictures tomorrow. We devoured the food before taking pictures.

Visited this place twice during my stay in Paris. I tried the meringue chocolate and it was the perfect dessert, totally enjoyable. Second time tried the chocolate bread which they call "Cranique" I think or something close and this is a great pastry with moist tasty chocolates. They have also with raisins. It's very big though and can be easily shared between two persons. They have multiple branches across Paris, so check which is within your itinerary and go for it.

A truly great bakery experience! One of the highlights is being able to watch the team prepare the fresh brioches right in front of you — it adds a special touch to the visit. Whatever you do, don’t miss the large sugar brioche while it’s still warm — it’s an absolute WOW. Soft, slightly crisp on the outside, and perfectly sweet. Pure heaven. A must-visit spot for pastry lovers in Paris!

We were walking past and smelled the amazing brioche being baked. We had never tried a merveilleux before so we got their classic chocolate flavor. It was delicious! They are so pretty and taste wonderful. The staff was also nice and helpful to us. Definitely recommend!

During our recent travels in Europe, we passed by countless bakeries—but none had an aroma quite like this one. The irresistible smell just pulled us in. We decided to share a raisin brioche, and after the first bite, there was no turning back! It would have been perfect with a cup of coffee, but I couldn’t wait—I started eating it the moment we stepped outside!

I stumbled upon this charming bakery on my way to do some shopping in the Le Marais area, and I couldn’t resist stepping inside. Everything is made fresh in-store—the brioche buns and pastries looked absolutely irresistible. I tried one, and oh my goodness, it was delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the store’s chic design added to the overall experience. I loved everything about it and will definitely visit again the next time I’m in Paris.

Maison Aleph is a unique Levantine bakery located in the Marais district, blending Middle Eastern dessert styles with French ingredients. Their specialty is the pastry nest, made of finely shredded phyllo dough called kadaif, filled with various flavors such as vanilla-caramel and lemon-cardamom. The pomegranate-orange blossom water variety comes highly recommended.
Cute little patissiére and it’s located in Le Marais area in the 4th arrondissement of Paris city. The staff was served me he’s really good and Friendly and kind to offering me try some of their best seller variety of ice cream. And he also treat tourists respectfully and speak English well. I went out with Astha flavour that’s combination of milk, vanilla and pistachios and also mixed with strawberry sorbet which is sourly and tangy! It’s really refreshing and taste delicious! I also like their blue tiles decoration.

Tiny little bakery with nicely presented variety of East Mediterranean treats. The gentleman that helped us was very patient and polite. We got a salted butter caramel vanilla and lemon cardamom pastry nest and pistachio chocolate tart. We got them to go. The tart came in a cute little box. The nests were crunchy and soft- a little messy to eat but tasty. We loved the pistachio chocolate tart. Was a nice treat for our first patisserie experience in Paris.
Turtlekeeper D — Google review
You must try the Orange Blossom Nest (with Strawberry, in season) if you stop by. This is an experience you will share with your grandkids someday. The orange was light, without the citrus after taste, while the accent of strawberry elevated this treat to a higher, heavenly level. The nest aspect brought a subtle crunch to this culinary marvel. This should be a must stop while in Paris.

Amazing pastry, only speaking for the rhubarb tarte that I tried but it was mind blowing. So good from the super crispy layered base from I guess phyllo to the rhubarb compote, pistachio, cream and rhubarb jelly, super well balanced composition and not too sweet. The florentine was a bit dense and thick overall but definitely high quality. They sell drinks but it's not an eat in space. Service is very quick to explain everything in English.

I love this place! We stopped at Maison Aleph a few years ago on a food tour, and we've gone back every time we're in Paris. William, the guy who works there, is always friendly and helpful. I bought a box of nids voyages, little crispy baskets with scrumptious paste inside, in different flavors. My favorites are the orange and the pistachio. William asked if we were taking them home for traveling. He went above and beyond by wrapping the box in bubble wrap. Can't wait to rip the box open when we get home. Give this place a try! If you speak English, be prepared to get the old croissants. I was in line and saw the person in front of me — a French man — receive a croissant from the top of the shelf. When it was my turn, they gave me one from the bottom shelf. The person after me, also French, again got one from the top. This is completely unacceptable. If they claim the one I received is just as fresh, then the croissants must be of poor quality in general. Please treat all your customers with the same respect, even if they don’t speak French.

Cédric Grolet is a renowned pastry chef known for his high-concept cakes and pastries, which are crafted in his chic and acclaimed bakery. His creations have gained popularity for their ultra-grammable designs that often begin with a fruit or nut, distilled into pastry-inspired forms before being reassembled to look like the original ingredient. Despite the heftier price tag, these beautiful and creative pastries are worth trying at least once.
I love this pastry shop. Everything looked amazing and was of an incredibly high standard. The quality was unbelievable and everything was so fresh and juicy. I waited for about an hour in the morning, but it was worth every second. I will definitely go there again. If you're coming to Paris, this is the number one pastry shop you have to visit — it's an amazing place, and the pastries are out of this world!

✨ A must-visit in Paris if you’re a dessert lover! In December, the price was €17 per dessert — quite high, but totally worth it for the experience and quality. I tried the pistachio one, and it was absolutely incredible — rich, creamy, and full of flavor, truly a bomb! The presentation is stunning, like a piece of art, and it feels special to enjoy it right in the heart of Paris. Be ready for a line, but once you taste it, you’ll understand why people wait.
Tatsiana T — Google review
I visited Cédric Grolet as a true cake and cookie lover, fully aware that the prices would be a higher than usual. Honestly, I didn’t mind spending the extra money—it was absolutely worth it. The pastries and cookies were exceptionally delicious, crafted with great attention to detail. We also ordered two drinks and had plenty of time to enjoy everything in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Yes, it’s more expensive than your average bakery, but this isn’t your average bakery. If you're not willing to pay a little more for high-quality treats and a special experience, then maybe this place isn’t for you. Personally, I loved every bite.

Absolutely delicious, top-quality desserts. The chocolate-vanilla tart and the vanilla pod completely stole my heart - it was incredible. I’ve tried many desserts in my life, and for me it’s never just about “eating something sweet,” but about appreciating it as a work of art. And these desserts are among the best I’ve ever had. This place is definitely worth visiting, if only to get a closer look at the legend. Unfortunately, the tart wasn’t placed well in the box and got deformed, but that didn’t affect the taste. The pastries were outstanding - those layers and the incredible buttery flavor were simply the best I’ve ever tried. Without exaggeration, it was the best croissant of my life.

A Must-Try Parisian Breakfast at Cédric Grolet If you're in Paris and love pastry, a visit to Cédric Grolet is an absolute must. We made a reservation in advance for the fixed breakfast menu (€50 per person), which includes both savory and sweet options, along with the now-iconic croissants that have taken over Instagram. The quality of the products is truly exceptional. The croissants were without a doubt some of the best in Paris — perfectly flaky, buttery, and beautifully presented. Alongside the pastries, the menu offered delicious savory dishes as well, all crafted with the same level of precision and care. The location itself is stunning and elegant, making the experience feel extra special — like a mix between a high-end boutique and a modern pâtisserie. The service was fine — not particularly memorable, but efficient enough — though the real star here is the food. There were also other pastries and creations available for purchase at the counter, each a piece of edible art. Whether you're a foodie, a pastry lover, or just curious about one of the world’s most famous pâtissiers, Cédric Grolet is a unique and worthwhile experience in Paris.

Alright… the place is nice, the service is amazing, there is a guy explaining you everything so 10/10 the experience you will have. Of course there is a line of 1-2 hours and then is when you start doubting if it is worth it or not. I wait 1 hour and I was one of the 20 first ones (I arrived 8:40 AM, so 20 minutes before they open) Flavor: nice, I will not say great because the price is pretty high so you are expecting a new whole different flavor but it is not But since everything is a whole thing I give 5 starts, congrats for the experience and presentation.

Hands down impressive bakery, there's a queue be warned, but its organized with ropes, and they let you enter 1 or 2 parties at a time which is really nice so you could feast your eyes on everything. I would suggest show up 9am first thing. We ordered the croissant and pain au chocolate, very overwhelmed and NEED to go back. The quartier is very chic, I wasn't surprised to see all the versace, loro piana loafers and balenciaga city bag while waiting! I loved the whole experience!

Cédric Grolet Opéra feels like stepping into a pastry museum where everything’s alive and edible. The space is sleek, minimalist, almost gallery-like — white marble, perfect lighting, and those jaw-dropping fruit desserts lined up like jewels. I tried the lemon — looks exactly like the real fruit, but the first bite is insane: thin chocolate shell, bright citrus mousse, layers of texture that actually make you stop talking for a second. Everything here is precise, delicate, and borderline too pretty to eat. It’s not cheap, and the line moves slow because people are filming everything, but honestly, worth it once.

Not worth the hype and the queue. We waited days in mind to try these delicious looking desserts and waited for 40 minutes in actual queue only to be disappointed. It is a piece of art in terms of presentation but tasted really bad. The mango was too sour and no sweet taste to complement it. The pistachio was the worst of all. It was just not sweet at all and tasted super bland and salty. We end up wasting it away. 18 euros for it? More like 2 euros only. The raspberry vanilla dessert ended up being decent and we liked it, though it can be improved further. Overall, chef really needs to take these feedback and make it worth the hype and money. Totally not worth my 98 euros.

I took Fig, Pistacchio and Blueberry. Also before I was in the cafe and took Vanilla. Each 18€ Incredibly tasty and well made. But don’t expect them to be sweet. They are not. The are fresh fruits with very little sugar if it’s even there. It’s really unique not to feel jam but actually like a fresh fruit pure. Very light deserts, pistacchio was the only that was slightly heavy. My favorite was blueberry and vanilla ( that I took from the caffe in the morning

Tried four of the famous trompe-l’œil pastries: Pot de Pop Corn, Mangue, Pomme Verte, and Pot de Chouchou. The Pot de Pop Corn was my clear favorite, its depth of flavor was unmatched, perfectly balanced with a subtle salty sweetness. The Mangue, though beautifully presented and hyped online, wasn’t my top pick but was still very good. The Pomme Verte was excellent, tasting remarkably like a real apple with an impressive texture, and the Pot de Chouchou offered a more straightforward flavor profile but was enjoyable nonetheless. We waited about an hour in line on a Saturday afternoon, but the staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and organized, making the experience pleasant. At €86 for four pastries, it’s definitely a splurge, but everything was crafted to perfection, and you truly get what you pay for. A must-try for pastry enthusiasts seeking an elevated, one-of-a-kind experience.

I have visited on Wednesday and around 12:05 I have joined the queue. The queue moved relatively quick and within 30 minutes I got in. Mind, this location is open only Wednesday to Sunday and only 12-6 or 7 PM. All items were available and I have purchased 3 creations: pistachio, apple and mango. Do bear in mind that these creations have to be consumed within 1 hour. In summer definitely quicker and you have to carry it carefully as they are fragile. There isn’t any seating area but there is a park nearby. They do offer napkins, spoons for your take away. Is take away only with click and collect available but you must reserve few days ahead. Separate queue for click and collect. The pistachio wasn’t my favourite. The amount of sea salt was overpowering and didn’t let actual pistachio speak for itself. Mango was delicate but absolutely refreshing and worth every penny. The apple has little dill inside but I actually liked it so it gave softness to actual green apple sourness. Don’t expect red apple flavour when is actually Granny Smith type. Each priced at €18. Do mind these aren’t cakes. They do sell cakes like fruits and cost around €35.
Silvia G — Google review
I really wanted to try these desserts, as they were so hyped up online. We waited in line about 10 minutes, actually not bad and time went by fast. I appreciate the fact that you’re the only customer in the store, so the line is worth it. The presentation and experience is amazing. We bought the blueberry (18€) pistachio (18€) and popcorn (25€) The pistachio I would say is interesting - NOT SWEET, which I was not expecting. The texture is interesting, a little bir salty, you can really feel the pistachio taste. The blueberry is good, not amazing, not sweet again. You can feel bits of actual blueberry inside. The popcorn was by far the best and most interesting of all. This dessert was sweet, with caramel and actual popcorn inside. We shared 3 desserts to 2 people which was way to much, I would just choose 2, as they were quite big. It’s an interesting experience, over-hyped, good but would not try again.

The pastries are truly exceptional and incredibly delicious. The trompe l’œil, which are desserts designed to resemble fruit, offered a perfect harmony of fruity flavours without being overly sweet. Ladurée Paris Royale is a high-end pastry shop that specializes in macarons, a French pastry made with almond flour, sugar and egg whites. The bakery has been in business since 1900 and is known for its elaborate displays of macarons in various flavors.
We had macarons and French toast. My 3-year-old twins enjoyed everything! Of course, the adults were very satisfied too. The sweets were elegant, so we could eat a lot. The tea came in a big pot, which was nice. The interior of the café was also very cute.

This is a world-famous macaron shop, one of the true icons of French pastry. It’s not just a boutique for sweets — there’s also a restaurant inside, where you can sit down and enjoy elegant dishes along with the signature desserts. The place is very touristy, and it’s common to see long lines and many visitors. Even so, the staff at the entrance are extremely friendly and welcoming, setting a pleasant tone for the experience. The macarons are outstanding — delicate, aromatic, and perfectly balanced in sweetness — living up to their global reputation. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves fine pastries and wants to taste the authentic flavor of Parisian sophistication.

Tried the famous hot chocolate with whipped cream. Not as special as I expected but still delicious, it’s chocolate after all. Friendly staff and with 11€ for the hot chocolate definitely not cheap and a little exaggerated but still better than what other cafes charge for it. (The cute interior is an extra plus)

The Ladurée at 16 Rue Royale is where Louis‑Ernest Ladurée opened his bakery in 1862, later transforming it into the brand's first tea room—making it indeed the first Ladurée outlet. If you're in Paris and craving something sweet, this place is a must-visit. Simply walk in for rows of perfect little pastries and macarons. You can choose your own flavors or ask the staff to surprise you with a random selection. They have boxes of 6 (and more), cost around 20 euro, which is a great size if you want to try a few different ones. However, please take note that it is best to keep the macaroons in the fridge (else, you may make a purchase at the airport). Overall, Ladurée lives up to the hype. It’s fancy, a bit pricey, and yes, touristy, but the quality, flavors, and experience make it totally worth it.

A lovely experience that i recommend to everyone who visits Paris. I tried their special blend of tea, and a mix of 6 macarons(definitely go for more than one). The Marie Antoinette and passion fruit flavors were my favorite. The ambiance is so wonderful I didn't want to leave :)

Do you remember that, a few days ago, I was talking about what to bring when you're invited❓ That day I had brought a fruit tart. For another diner at my aunt's we chose to buy dessert from Ladurée. We could have bought macarons but we chose to buy "individual" Napoleons to share. Why? Well, Napoleon has been my favorite cake forever and I know that my aunt is not a big fan of Ladurée's macarons. And TBH, neither am I. Actually, I'm not a fan of macarons in general. I find them expensive, which can be justified by how difficult it is to bake them, small and not super tasty, yet very sweet. 🫤 I'm pretty sure everybody knows what Napoleon is but for those who don't, a Napoleon, or Mille-feuille, is made of 3 layers of pâte feuilletée (puff pastry) and 2 layers of pastry cream, usually covered by a layer of sugar, often icing with a marble effect. 😋 There are all kinds of Napoleons and Napoleon almost always is ok but sometimes it's great. It's just hard to find the great ones. Now when you find a great one, that's just amazing, spectacular, stunning. And when it's great, it doesn't need any icing on the top. And I must say Ladurée's Napoleon was a great one. Not the best one I've had but definitely a great one. 👏 Of course, that was not cheap. I don't remember the exact price but I'd say €10 piece (❗) But every once in a while... 😇 Icing was not necessary in that case, of course, but... I told you before that Napoleon already was my fav when I was a kid. And you know which part I liked the most: the icing. So I kinda missed icing on this one, as I miss it every time it's not there... 😅 Don't worry we still tried the macarons when we picked up the cakes at the shop. And we also tried their Eugenie cookies (which was kinda new at the time). Honestly, not worth spending more than €3 for a very small cookie that tasted pretty random. 👎 . . . Quality & taste: 7/10 Quantities: 7/10 Atmosphere: n/a Originality: 7/10 Ratio price / quality: 7/10 Service: n/a How I felt afterwards: 7/10

Historic place but definitely overpriced. Desserts, except macarons, cost €15, and the selection was quite limited, though you can try different flavors of their signature macarons. We ordered a pot of tea (€11) and asked the waiter if it would be enough for two; he said, “No, it’s for one person,” so we also ordered fresh juice for €8. In reality, the pot was enough for at least three cups, and we had to ask twice just to get an extra cup. I found my dessert too sweet and it failed to leave a lasting impression. It was served from the display, and I didn’t feel it had been freshly made. The interior, however, is charming and really takes you back to past centuries.

Yann Couvreur's creations are the epitome of haute gastronomy, featuring dainty desserts and refined meringue inventions that have earned him accolades in the culinary world.
The flan is super delicious. I went there around 8:30 in the morning on Sunday. No need to like up and the service is pretty good. Strong recommended if you visit this area. Must try!

The apple turnover was decent, but the amount of apples are not like the ones in the publicity photo shown on their website. But with the caramelised sugar on the pastry, it's one of the better apple turnovers in the city. 7/10 I also tried the kouglof. My first time to try this specialty from Alsace, so I'm not sure if it's authentic or not There's not much taste in it, no taste of alcohol in the almonds. But the brioche was properly risen. If that's how kouglof is supposed to taste like, then I don't think I'd try one again in the future. 3/10

The small, black spots on the glasses are the flies 🪰 and the staff even didn’t wear gloves when take the pastries?! The flavor is still the same as before, but the amount is like half way smaller than before. If the strategy is just to open new shops but not keep the high quality for the pastry, I won’t recommend anymore.
Jean H — Google review
The Pistache Lover was delicious! Very creamy and smooth, not too sweet and with lots of pistachio flavour. Prices are comparable with other bakeries in the area. The service is what dropped my review from 5 to 4 star - while not at all rude the staff were also not very friendly. It took quite a while for someone to even acknowledge me.

If you want to enjoy one of the best desserts in Paris, this is your place. Don't fall for TikTok scams like Cedric and others. Everything is great, just order.
Kobi H — Google review
I had a very unpleasant experience here. The person at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. Despite the sign at the entrance saying there is free Wi-Fi, they refused to give us the password and treated us disrespectfully when we asked. On top of that, they don’t understand English well, so when I asked for oat milk, they brought me hot milk instead, and when I tried to explain the misunderstanding, they got angry and treated me badly. Very disappointing service. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere or basic courtesy.

We came here for a family macaron class via TripAdvisor. The teaching kitchen is a closet. We could only fit 2 families of 4 if we stood uncomfortably close (and without room to move). There is a sink to wash your hands, but no toilet. Also, it was the fastest class ever! Only an hour instead of the scheduled two. We did come away with a box full of macaron, tho!

I had an exceptional experience at this chocolate shop! The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the products they offer. They took the time to explain the different types of chocolate and helped me choose the perfect selection based on my preferences. The shop itself was beautifully designed, and the quality of the chocolates was beyond impressive. Every piece I tried was rich, smooth, and simply delicious. I highly recommend this place to any chocolate lover looking for top-notch quality and service!

Bit overrated to be honest. Don't get me wrong, the experience was great! The members of staff were very friendly and helpful. The macarons looked and tasted great, but I would say they are a bit overpriced in my opinion (compared to other lesser known options in the city). They had great packaging, so you can get some macarons home as a great souvenir.
George A — Google review
Great desserts! Tried the macarons and also ice cream after the long walk. Staffs were very friendly and sharing the information about all kinds of popular French desserts with us. The macarons were not overly sweet and I wish I could bring some home for friends. This place is recommended.
V C — Google review
They have about 20 different flavors of macarons and some pastries offered. I bought a box of 24 for 69 euro that came in a pretty, limited edition box which was perfect for gifting. The staff suggested one of each flavor and then duplicate their most popular flavors which was a great idea. There was a line to order but it moved fast.
Hi A — Google review
They had a little chocolate pastry that is spectacular (not too sweet, either). We went back another day to get it again. Everything else was wonderful.
Alison S — Google review
Best macaroon’s we have had. Store and service were great. A bit pricey in my opinion.
Brian M — Google review
Absolutely delicious The macarons were fresh light and perfectly balanced crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. The flavors were amazing, especially the pistachio.
Alin A — Google review
I am here for the pastry desserts. I’ve had their macarons before but they are not the best after tasting some smaller shops’. The pastries here are delicious. I wanted to try the Ispahan macaron with raspberries and the Buche Ispahan seasonal pastry cake. Their Ispahan flavor is rose, raspberries and lychee. Both were delicious but if I would say the Buche was the best between the two. The macaron cookie of the Ispahan large macaron sandwich (with real raspberries in the center) was too sweet.

À la Mère de Famille is a family-run shop with a wide variety of sweets and chocolates. Visitors can expect friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the different treats available. Seasonal displays like Easter selections add to the magical experience of perusing their options. The shop offers an incredible selection of pastries, chocolates, and sweets, with quick and friendly service.
This time I bought some caramel candies that were being sold by weight behind the register. It's very shiny and beautiful. It's very delicious. The staff were also very kind.

This is one of the most beautiful & French charming chocolate shops with ladders to stock the shelves with the most beautiful & hand crafted chocolates, eye catching displays & such vintage vibes. I stopped in alone for how beautiful this shop was. Every single detail is thought of from the outside window displays to the inside. Breath taking how charming it is.

A long-established shop in Paris, perfect for picking up souvenirs. Everything was so cute and whimsical—it felt like stepping into a scene from a movie. The shop was filled with chocolates and candies, and the caramel candies they packed into tins were especially delicious. I bought a lot as gifts. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Paris!
S. B — Google review
What a treat! This shop does not disappoint. 264 years of history proves that. The inside is whimsical. So much to see - chocolates, carmels, fresh marshmallows. It was difficult to choose but once you do, you’ll be in heaven. We bought a small box of chocolates and some carmels. Once we paid, we were allowed to sample some vanilla and rose flavored marshmallows. The service was friendly. I’ll be back before the end of our trip.

You gotta check out the caramels. In particular the hard ones behind the counter. The hard ones have and out shell then they melt into chewy goodness. You can save a few bucks if you don't do the metal case and just want to eat em
Wilson W — Google review
We stopped by as sort of as a tourist attraction since the store is so beautifully decorated and walked out with more chocolates than we intended. The staff who helped us was VERY kind and also offered us each a sampling of chocolate after we made a tiny purchase of just 2 chocolates to try. We were immediately impressed and decided to buy a bunch of boxed sets as gifts to take home. She gave us enough bags and tissue paper to package each gift set individually, which was very thoughtful. Thank you for going the extra mile! PS. They do have sugar free options but were out of stock at the time that we were there.

Have you ever cried while eating something!?! Well this passionfruit/raspberry tart made me shed a tear. Perfect balance of tart and sweet. The curd was velvet. The woman that helped me in the shop was very kind.

Honest Reviews This is the oldest Chocolatier in Paris and the oldest location. I heard about it through YouTube and I wanted to visit to take some chocolate home to the US for family and friends. Youtube made it sound like the employees were friendly and helpful. The store video also showed that and offered samples. But when I asked for help they were too busy talking to each other to help me. I also asked for sample but they said they didn't have any. I know it's crazy they make them their in-house and they had no samples? I almost left but I was leaving the country the next day so I had to buy from the rude ungrateful people. The store is nice and not hard to find. Its located in a very friendly neighborhood. The chocolate was good and my family and friends loved it back in the US. I would say visit a different location and avoid these lazy rude people but the chocolate is worth the visit.

Patrick Roger is a renowned chocolatier in Paris, with multiple boutiques across the city. His chocolates are known for their unique and traditional flavors, such as lemongrass, oatmeal, and saffron. One of his iconic creations is the 'Instinct' chocolate clusters made of almond and hazelnut praline coated with dark or milk chocolate. These chocolates are available in his shops adorned with impressive chocolate sculptures.
This is a Parisian chocolatier that we have much enjoyed over the years. Was disappointed when they closed their Brussels branch meaning we can only make purchases when passing through Paris. You'll find a handful of branches around the city. This time around we stopped at their branch along Blvd. St. Germain while sightseeing in the area. Always interesting seeing the chocolate sculpture creations on display. We also like picking up small boxes of pralines, sometimes for gifts and usually one or two for ourselves. The single origin chocolate bars come in tins which are convenient for packing and taking back home as well. They are all pretty good, especially the 70-75% dark chocolates. Ask for help picking out what might be best for you, staff are helpful describing what flavours to expect based on the chocolate origin.

What an experience. You walk in and you feel like luxury all around you. The aroma is incredible. Great service and great experience. I purchased some chocolates to bring back to Canada with me. Merci!

We were in the store for almost 10 minutes before the two sales associates acknowledged us. When they did it was with a curt: Do you need anything? Weird question that made us feel like we were disturbing social hour. We bought nothing bc…we didn’t want to bother and interrupt the socializing.
Pasado C — Google review
First experience at this location that was recommended by a friend. The sales women was professional and described the offerings well and let us try a piece of chocolate. We left with the Discovery box and a box of All Instinct praline assortment which the four of us split when we got home. Delicious. Melt in your mouth chocolates. Hope to go back.
Kelly C — Google review
The store is beautifully designed, and the chocolates are good looking. However, I chose not to buy anything because the customer service was the worst I’ve experienced in any chocolate shop in France. I believe that great chocolate should be accompanied by good service, and unfortunately, this shop fell short.
April W — Google review
Very friendly customer service to help answer questions and make recommendations. There are signs all over not to touch anything. You will be warned if you try to touch anything. This is probably the most expensive chocolate I’ve ever bought. It’s also some of the best quality I’ve ever had. The packaging is very nice and it has some weight to it. The bars some in a metal tin and the plastic packing has a resealable flap. For special occasions this place is a treat to enjoy. I wish the prices were a bit more affordable, but in any case if it’s a special occasion I would make the trip to buy some more chocolate from Patrick Rodger.
Sven R — Google review
Ghastly experience at this location. We entered the store and the sole person working there was on the phone. She proceeded to have a ten minute conversation while we waited to ask questions on the (overpriced) chocolates, .not once even acknowledging our presence. Finally we gave up and left - as we did she yelled out "it's an order, what do you want me to do?" Say hello, welcome to the store, something...? Really unfortunate experience.

Nestled in the heart of Brittany, this charming shop offers an impressive selection of delectable treats that are sure to please any palate. The macarons here are beautifully crafted, showcasing a variety of flavors that may not be as bold as some others but are still deliciously executed and reasonably priced.
Really enjoyed these tasty macarons. Macaron flavors not as strong as some I’ve had before, but still, very well done and reasonably priced (about €1 per macaron). Friendly customer service and our server even took the time to space out the colors of the macarons so it was aesthetically pleasing. :)

Went in to get macarons (super cheap btw) as souveneirs for my friends, but came out with other sweet treats (kouignettes were too sweet for my taste though, had to share it with my family). Decent customer service because even though our cashier didn't do anything mean, she was nicer to an elderly French lady versus well, people of color (customer before us and us included) but I expected as much.... just wish they could've hid it better?

Chocolaterie and macarons shop. The macarons we had were amazing, and affordable too. So many flavors! Rose was best and is unforgettable. There may be a wait, this is a popular place.

The location is very close to my one-month Airbnb. I recently visited and bought 2 kouignettes (regular and raspberry) and some macarons (7 in a box). The staff were friendly, especially the person who handled my payment. Even while I'm at work, it makes me want to come back and enjoy that taste again.

What a delight to my eyes and my tastebuds!! We tried a few macaroons and the pistachio one was THE BEST I ever tried in my life with a tiny taste of alcohol, it made it 100x better

Great place! The macarons were amazing, and there was a large variety of different chocolates. The storefront was very visually appealing and the inside had a unique atmosphere. The staff were friendly and I had no difficulty with them despite my poor French. I bought a case of macarons for myself and a case of assorted chocolate to bring home to my parents. Definitely recommend!

Circus Bakery, located in the vibrant Latin Quarter of Paris, has gained a devoted following for its delectable bread and pastries. Managed by the Fragments team, this bakery is renowned for its sourdough bread, cinnamon or cardamom braids, and focaccia. The warm and aromatic cinnamon rolls have been hailed as some of the best in Paris.
Is their cinnamon roll €6? Yes. Is it also the best cinnamon roll of my life? Yes it's up there with my grandma's. The deal is their €3 baguette, it's incredible. The burnt bits are amazing, the softer mie is perfect and sour. If you like sourdough, you'll love this baguette. If you want a more traditional baguette, this isn't it. But it's better and they know it which is why they aren't trying to compete on price. I was also very surprised my roll was warm at 15h... I probably got lucky but it's obvious that this place focuses on small-batch perfection. Adorable ambiance as well with the open visible work stations. The only drawback (for me) was their hesitance to accept cash... But for some that's an advantage. I'll be back next time I'm near Saint-Michel !

I rarely say “the best” but the cinnamon bun here is really the best I’ve had in Paris. Soft, aromatic, not to sweet, light yet chewy texture. There’re so many pastry shops in Paris that you can to a different place for 365 days, but I think I’ll come back here for a second time or third?
Soonyata M — Google review
I've never been more excited about a cinnamon roll in my life. I was afraid the Instagram dream wouldn't live up to reality but I needn't have worried. This is NOT Cinnabon, and that's a good thing. 1) It's sourdough so it's a slow prove natural yeast kind of situation. 2) they must grind their own cinnamon because of the fragrance and texture , so, if that doesn't show you they care I don't know what does. They are super fresh and perfectly sweet. They also make a mean cappuccino so all in all its the perfect breakfast. We also had the apple pie, and it was delicious. If we lived here I would get our daily bread there all the time. They make several other types of bread and pastries there daily. I want to come back for their pizza evenings too.

Exceptional Baked Goods!!! Made the trek here very early, almost upon opening hours and so very happy for it! Wanting to try pastries, breads, and sweets in Paris, this quaint artisan bakery was at the top! Cinnamon bun was so delicious!! Nice density to the chew, perfect flavor and overall amazing!! Fresh out came apple tarts! Wow!!! So so good!!! Light, crisp, soft and sweet, perfection l felt! I can still taste it, so l know it was AMAZING!!! I had read about it out of all places in a Vogue article and upon more reading it came up in a few others, l knew it was a place to hit! Thank you Circus for giving me a tasty Parisian morning treat!

Came around for their well known cinnamon buns and wasn’t disappointed. Although it is quite pricey, it was worth the price. The interior looks aesthetically pleasing and Notre-Dame is a short walk away. (For visitors- they only take payments by card) Милая пекарня с хорошей выпечкой.

Although it has no seats, circus bakery made a great impression on me. Being the new little project from fragments coffee (which I’m very keen on) I wanted to try it. The coffee is marvelous. I took a cappuccino and it was flavorful and delicate. You will not be able to sit down and work as it is solely a take away coffee shop inside the bakery. I STRONGLY recommend to grab a coffee and a sweet ( I took a cinnamon roll ) and walk to the Jardin Du Luxembourg. My coffee was still hot once I sat there and drank it ! Enjoy

Great food. Great cinnamon rolls. It’s fluffy and not too sweet. The cinnamon taste is just perfect. Not too strong. Very well made. I also tasted the rhubarbe pie and the bread (buns). Everything was really good. But I still think it’s a bit overprice. It does worth to try, at least once so go for it. Too bad they don’t have a place to sit. The staff was very friendly. They gave me a slice of their signature bread sonI can taste it. And it’s really good.

Hands down the best thing I’ve tried in Paris for a sweet treat in 10 years of visiting. I’m happy I decided to take the walk from Marais to Montmartre or I would’ve never came across this God send of a patisserie. My fave flavour had to be the vanilla so I bought like 12 to take home a few days later ! The staff are really accommodating and kind and the shop is beautiful - I purposefully didn’t take photos of the store so you can experience it for yourself as it’s worth it on a sunny day - the vibe is cute.
