Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Dolce Italia is a charming cafe in Colombo that offers a unique blend of Italian and Sri Lankan culture. Founded by Chef Manuela Brugnoli from Siena, Italy, the cafe exudes an Italian atmosphere with traditional Sri Lankan decorations. Guests can enjoy daily offerings of delicious and fresh dishes and drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, pastries baked on-site, and pizza.
A Hidden Gem for Pizza Lovers! I had a wonderful experience at Dolce Italia today. Their pizza is truly authentic and incredibly delicious – you can really taste the quality in every bite. The place itself is calm, quiet, and perfect if you're looking to enjoy your meal in a relaxed setting. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. The staff is very pleasant, helpful, and supportive – they genuinely make you feel welcome. Their excellent service is something that will definitely make me come back again. I’m writing this review because I truly appreciated the calm atmosphere and the amazing service provided by the staff. If you're looking for a peaceful spot with great pizza, authentic Italian food and warm hospitality, I highly recommend Dolce Italia!

Nice place for Italian food. We had pizza and pasta here. Pizza was filling. It had a good flavor also. I bought cheese pasta which had no spice. Preferable for kids. Actually when I called them, I was damn hungry and I told them to prepare and keep, they did a very good job. Therefore I was able to have the meal without grumpy stomach. Good experience.

Went for lunch to this place which I had stumbled across unexpectedly, soon as I walked in it felt like I was in Italy, greeted by the owner herself who's a lovely Italian nonna, the food was amazing. Tasted fresh and tasteful though the ingredients had been imported which I assume it had. The Ravioli with beef and the beef lasagna are my top two favorites. A must try is the beef lasagna I highly recommend. The service was good too friendly staff and quick service to attend. The prices were a bit high but considering it being Colombo and how the food was and the quality of the ingredients I wouldn't complain much. Would definitely come again. Lovely spot, amazing food, great service!

Amazing customer service at Dolce Italia. I turned up tonight to pick some dinner up for my kids after long day at work. I was on a call and had no plans to eat. I then noticed the fresh greenhouse tomatoes and Burrata and mentioned to my mom how I wish I had fresh Basil at home. The server overheard me and said he will get me some Basil from the kitchen! Thanks to him, I'm having the most amazing dinner I never knew I needed!

Personal favourite of a location. They serve absolutely fantastic pizza and all other Italian dishes. Best try their pizzas on kurakkan dough. The lady that sings keeps the crowd entertained well.

We are an Italian family on vacation in Sri Lanka. I can say it tastes really good. Not quite like home, but compared to other "Italian" restaurants, it's excellent. Keep up the good work 😃

One of my favourite places in Colombo. Great food and ambiance and even a small play area outside for children. They have a nice terrace which makes you feel like you are jn Italy. Staff is always friendly. Plenty of authentic food products for retail as well to prepare italian food at home.

Located in the embassy area of Colombo, The Bayleaf is housed in a stunning century-old Colonial home with a beautifully maintained garden. Guests can choose to dine on the terrace, balcony, or in private dining rooms upstairs. The retro-style bar on the ground floor is popular in the evenings. This restaurant is beloved by locals and considered one of the top dining spots in Colombo. Its extensive menu features classic Italian dishes such as pasta and pizza, along with delectable desserts.
The food is fantastic, offering a delightful variety and generous portions, beautifully prepared and presented. It's a lovely place with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The service is also excellent.

Bayleaf Italian Restaurant is a fantastic spot in Colombo, whether you’re planning a romantic date or a dinner with a large group. Their Harpos pizza is a must-try—absolutely delicious! The food across the menu is consistently exceptional, and the restaurant offers a variety of seating areas, each with its own unique vibe. It’s a place that feels special no matter where you sit, making it perfect for any occasion. Highly recommend!

Food was great and ambience was nice too! Ordered two pasta dishes and safe to say, I wasn’t disappointed! Quite happy with the desserts and I felt like the standards still were met from three years back when i visited.

A lovely spot for a romantic date, offering a great atmosphere and delicious Italian cuisine. Prices are on the higher side, but definitely worth it. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, though it can get a bit crowded on Fridays and weekends. Truly worth a visit!
Ishani W — Google review
This is the first time I came to this place. Just wanted to have a mild drink and lunch. I have to say the drinks and food was amazingly fantastic. place is also nice, not much of crowd in a Saturday afternoon. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Absolutely perfect Italian cuisine. Specially if you are having pizza or pasta. The restaurant has a great atmosphere in the middle of the city. They have truly authentic food which are reasonably priced. They have a great accommodating and professional staff. Highly recommend, they never fail to disappoint.

A cozy Mediterranean spot with fresh ingredients and warm service. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender, and the house-made pita was a standout. Slightly pricey, but worth it for the quality. Great for a casual date night or small group dinner.

Giovanni's is a laid-back pizzeria chain in Colombo, known for its custom pies, pastas, and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant exudes an easygoing vibe with its cozy courtyard setting adorned with fairy lights and a vintage Ford, making it ideal for date nights or casual catch-ups. The pizzas are highly praised for their crispy dough, fresh flavors, and perfect cheese-to-ingredient ratio - a testament to the chef's experience living in Italy.
I recently had the chance to eat at Giovanni’s Restaurant, and I’m still thinking about how delicious the pizza was! It was freshly baked, full of flavor, and had the perfect thin, crispy crust. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the cheese was so rich and gooey! The place had a cozy, relaxed vibe, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. It felt like a small slice of Italy right in the city. Whether you're a pizza lover or just craving something truly satisfying, Giovanni’s is the place to go. I’ll definitely be going back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing, authentic pizza!
Shanuka R — Google review
Had a great meet-up with friends at Giovanni’s Pizza. We went for the thin crust options — I can’t recall the exact names, but every slice was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was calm and cozy, making it a perfect spot to relax and catch up. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for quality pizza and a chill vibe.
Inthikhab R — Google review
Highly recommended for its delicious food and generous portions. Every dish bursts with flavor, though some tend to be quite oily. The staff are incredibly humble, attentive, and helpful, making the dining experience warm and welcoming. While the service shines, peak hours especially after 5 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday can be very noisy, affecting the ambiance. During busy times, the kitchen gets overwhelmed, and orders may take over 20 minutes to arrive. Despite the wait, the food and service make it worth visiting. Ideal for casual meals with great taste, as long as you’re prepared for a lively crowd.
Cruz R — Google review
A group of 3 people visited on a Tuesday night at around 10pm. We didn't see any parking and everyone just parked on the road and went into the restaurant. I'm pretty sure this is not allowed during the traffic hours. They have indoor, outdoor and air-conditioned spaces available. The staff was very friendly. The food was served after about 15 minutes of ordering and tasted good.
Bhanuka S — Google review
Giovanni's is the kind of place you know you'll return to before you've even finished your meal. The pizzas are sublime—featuring a perfect crust, generous fillings, and incredible flavour. Paired with great drinks, it's an outstanding value. We visited on a bustling weekend night. Despite being jam-packed, the service was excellent, and our food arrived promptly and, importantly, piping hot—a rare feat for such a busy kitchen. The atmosphere was electric, thanks to the live music. We loved it so much and wanted to hangout longer but felt guilty lingering after eating, knowing there was a long line of people waiting for a table. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it back during our month in Sri Lanka, but Giovanni's is at the very top of our list for next time. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Den — Google review
I love the place the most, and the vibe is great with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food looked amazing, and there were a variety of items to choose from. I didn’t try the drinks, so I can't comment on them. There wasn’t much of a wait time either.
Shannan G — Google review
How this restaurant has such good reviews the food was terrible! We ordered a seafood risotto and beef lasagna, and both failed in every possible way: presentation, doneness, quality, and flavor everything was bad. The seafood risotto was served with a tomato-based sauce, which I’ve never seen before. The server didn’t mention this when taking the order. After a long argument, they finally brought a white sauce version, but it had completely lost its consistency it was like rice mixed with corn soup. The lasagna tasted fine, but it was served cold, so we didn’t even bother arguing about it. I’ve visited this place more than 20 times before, but today I’m honestly done with their food and service. I used to think this was one of the best Italian restaurants in Colombo, but today all my trust and expectations are gone. It’s such a disappointment to experience this level of quality, especially when the food is overpriced for what it is.
Tk G — Google review
We ordered food there tonight. The food arrived cold, wasn't particularly tasty, and the portions were tiny. A calzone is something else entirely. Real Italians would throw the food against a wall, disappointing for the high price. The chefs apparently can't read either, and special requests were ignored. Last time for us. Check out the pictures.

Rocco's Pizza is a delightful culinary gem that truly knows how to deliver on its promise of quality Italian cuisine. Nestled in the heart of Colombo, this contemporary eatery offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying delicious pizzas and freshly made pastas. Their menu features classic favorites alongside unique options like satay chicken and Thai red curry pizzas, ensuring there's something for everyone without overwhelming diners with excessive toppings or soggy crusts.
We had a lovely dine-in experience and would love to go back! From the moment we walked in, the ambience and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Our server, who was from the Rajagiriya branch but was working at Gregory’s Road that day, was absolutely superb. She provided excellent service, making our visit even more enjoyable. She also recommended the best drink we've had in a while! Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, but she truly made our experience memorable. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was just perfect. Highly recommend!
Dharusshika P — Google review
Pizzas and pasta dishes were great. Cheese cake was 10/10. But the small private room (for 8 packs) they provided was bit dull and not worth the price. I would recommend to get the private room for 15 packs which has an ambient vibe.
Ravindu D — Google review
⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 – Good Food, Painfully Slow Service The food at Rocco’s Colombo outlet is tasty and worth the wait… if you have the patience. Unfortunately, the service is extremely slow, which takes away from the overall dining experience. Good flavours, but they really need to speed things up.
Sampath S — Google review
Rocco’s is hands down one of the best spots for a date night in Colombo. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and classy, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Their thin-crust pizzas are absolutely delicious, and the pasta dishes I’ve tried are equally impressive. On top of that, the service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always prompt. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to again and again!

The pizza was good, however the pasta not so much. The vacuum was on when we went there, and it was super loud, when we requested it to be turned off, it was.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 – Great Pasta & Cozy Vibes! Had a really nice dinner at Rocco’s Colombo and loved the whole experience. The place has a super cozy vibe — dim lighting, warm atmosphere, perfect for a chill dinner. We ordered the lasagna and penne pasta with bolognese sauce, and both were delicious. The lasagna was cheesy and full of flavor, and the penne was super tasty with a generous meat sauce and fresh tomatoes. Really satisfying comfort food! We also had a chocolate milkshake and a strawberry mocktail — the milkshake was thick and creamy (just how it should be!), and the mocktail was light and refreshing. Service was friendly and quick. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without hovering around too much. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good Italian food in Colombo with a relaxed, cozy vibe. Would totally go back again!

Coco Veranda is a beloved coffee shop in Colombo, renowned for its top-quality gourmet coffee made from Filicori beans imported from Bologna. This popular spot offers an extensive menu of food and beverages, providing visitors with a wide array of options to choose from. It's a favorite among locals and tourists alike, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy delicious coffee and delectable treats in the heart of Colombo.
The best part is that they don’t charge a service fee. The atmosphere is lovely, spacious and inviting with plenty of parking available. Customer service is top-notch, and their menu goes beyond just coffee. I tried the Seafood Mongolian Rice (regular portion) and the Chicken Mushroom Soup, both of which were delicious. The highlight was definitely the heavenly Chocolate and Milo milkshake. However, the Milo milkshake didn’t have a strong Milo flavor as expected. The Lemon and Mint Crush was also enjoyable, especially with the added sugar syrup. Overall, a great place with a unique and satisfying menu!

Place is easy to find. Very limited parking. As you enter the restaurant it's very relaxing. Menu is simple and easy to navigate. Drinks and coffee menu is same as other places, but it's fresh and quality. Ordered the meat platter which was quite filling. Fish and chips was nicely done and pasta was cooked on point. Service was moderate and food made the table within 20min. It's a clean and tidy place. Since it was a weekend it wasn't crowded at all and parking was very easy. I'm sure during weekdays it will be packed. Overall I would give it a solid 8.2/10 & I would recommend this place

Great Food, Great Value, and a Super Smooth Digital Experience! I recently visited Tea Avenue Jawatte and had such a positive experience! The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in.The new digitalized ordering system is truly a game-changer. It was really easy,we just had to scan the QR code, choose exactly what we needed, and then had the option to pay online by card or pay at the counter with the new digitalized system. The efficiency was amazing; even though it was a bit busy at the moment we walked in, this system made placing our order quick, and our food was ready super fast, landing on our table within minutes.A big shout-out to Ishen and his colleagues for introducing the digital menu to us and ensuring we were comfortable with the process. That level of service, combined with the convenience, really sets them apart. On top of the great tech and service, the food delivered! The portion sizes were really good, and honestly, the food and beverages were totally worth the price. Great value all around. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I recently made a special order for red velvet cheesecake which was one of their best cakes. I tasted the cake, it was not as good as it used to be before, the red velvet cheesecake supposed to have sponge cake with sugar syrup but this time it had normal butter cake, also the cream cheese frosting was quite less, anyway I was half way happy with the frosting. Hope your quality improves. The standard of TEA AVENUE has regressed so much 😕 I felt it was not worth for the price, cheesecakes are expensive due to their cream cheese, but this cake had more of cake and less of cream cheese :(( Compare pic 1 and pic 2 ( pic one the cake that I had before and pic 2 the cake I got yesterday)

In overall delicious pizza. The origano mix is good with pizza. The hot souse that they have might not the favorite for everyone as a bit sour taste, some people might like it. Calm and quiet kind a small cute place. Nice atmosphere to spend time. Try it out guys.

Their food used to be a lot better but the quality of food has been declining and recently the fungi pizza was served with corn in it. Tasted bad! Massive difference from the food served at the Horton Place outlet and here. It’s a small place and the ambience is nice but if the food isn’t good it’s definitely not worth going.

Recommended 95% as it took bite time for our order to be done. Food was 100% good. And Oregano was not available nor the bottles were not refilled. That was a bit disappointing. Koko is available and had a hard time managing parking as we had to park away near the next building.

This is our go to place during last 4-5 years when meeting friends. The place is not huge, but it has a nice ambience and we usually spend 2-3 hours talking about all sorts of topics. Parking is mostly road side, but in the evenings you can use the parking slots of the adjacent building. They have washrooms, but you have to exit the shop and go all the way to the back. Staff are always nice and they have promotions here and there.
Bhanuka S — Google review
The best place to feel completely ignored. I waited for 30 minutes, and all the staff cared about was online orders. No one even bothered to place my order until I reminded them. Even after that, they didn’t tell me it would take another 10–15 minutes — because they hadn’t even started it yet! Not one “sorry,” not even a sign that they cared. Just smiling around like nothing was wrong. If this was the last place on Earth to get food, I’d still go somewhere else. I’d rather eat grass.

We had a tasty experience at harpos pizza nugegoda. The place was not very busy at evening and the pizza tasted delicious. They serve tasty thin crust pizza and you can miz the flavours when ordering. The watinh time was around 20 minutes..if you are looking for a different pizza experience, this is one of the places

Delicious pizza varieties are available from regular to extra large. Taste wise it's really good and can recommend to a pizza lover. Every table accompanied with dried oregano leaves, chilli flakes, ketchup and pepper corns to crush it up. Restaurant has dine-in and delivery options. Friendly customer service. Parking is only available in the roadside. Prices are above average.

A place with a nice ambiance. They have a good variety of thin crust pizzas. Parking is a bit of an issue. Service is friendly and attentive. Pizzas are reasonable in price. They have variety of pizzas in sizes as well. Recommend this place for pizza lovers around Nugegoda

PastaMania Sri Lanka offers a diverse range of Italian cuisine, making it a highly recommended restaurant. Visitors are encouraged to try their pasta dishes and refreshing strawberry drinks. Customers have praised the delicious food and quick, professional service at this establishment. After trying the pasta and chocolate pizza, many patrons express a desire to return and sample more of the unique menu offerings. This restaurant provides an opportunity to experience authentic Italian flavors in Sri Lanka's vibrant food culture.
This Pastamania outlet truly stands out among the many others. It offers ample space, including an upper floor, making it comfortable even during busy times. The staff is attentive and prompt, ensuring a smooth dining experience. The air-conditioned environment and thoughtful design adds to the pleasant vibe, giving the place a modern and high-end feel. The menu is diverse, with plenty of delicious meal options, with a high emphasis on their signature Pasta dishes. We tried a few and were impressed, especially with the strawberry drink-definitely a must-try! Parking is convenient and there’s plenty of space available right outside. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying meal!

Adequate portions and very delicious pasta. I found the pastas were better than the pizza there. Maybe a personal preference but the cheese pastas were better than the tomato sauce pastas. Plenty of options to choose from. Reasonable price. They have a private room if you go with a big party of 12+ people.
Hafsa A — Google review
I recently visited PastaMania in Kollupitiya, and while the experience was decent, there are a few areas for improvement. Firstly, the prices are on the higher side compared to similar restaurants, which might not make it the most budget-friendly option. Additionally, there’s no dedicated parking, which can be inconvenient if you’re driving, especially in a busy area like Kollupitiya. On the positive side, the restaurant wasn’t crowded during my visit, so it was peaceful, and I didn’t have to wait long for my food. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was friendly enough. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re looking for a quiet dining experience, but some practical aspects like parking and pricing could be better.

This is a gem of a place in Colombo. Definitely the best place to eat some mouthwatering pasta in Colombo. I went here for lunch and ordered the cream and chicken pasta with extra cheese. It was by far the best I have ever tried. Also the staff and service were top notch. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to have some delicious pasta dining experience.

It is a really good place to try variety of pasta and some other meals. I ordered a pizza and a pasta which were for a reasonable price. The atmosphere also very fascinating. And I must appreciate their service too. Can recommend this place to anyone who wishes to try various types of cuisines.

PastaMania is a charming restaurant with a cozy and calm atmosphere, offering a beautiful interior that's a perfect escape from the bustling Colombo Road. The pizza and pasta are both delicious, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients that make each dish stand out. However, the prices are on the higher side, so it might not be the most budget-friendly option for everyone. One area that could be improved is the taste of their beverages, as they don’t quite match the quality of the food. Overall, it's a great spot for a relaxing meal if you're willing to splurge a bit.

Buffet restaurant
Graze Kitchen, situated in the renowned Hilton Colombo, is a top choice for seafood enthusiasts with its extensive array of sushi, sashimi, maki, and various other seafood delights. The buffet includes a dedicated seafood section boasting an impressive selection of prawns, mussels, crab, cuttlefish, and octopus. This restaurant offers live cuisines from Mediterranean to Japanese with live chef stations showcasing the best of world-class dining.
Visited Hilton Graze Kitchen to celebrate my father’s birthday, and it was hands down the best buffet experience I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. I made an early reservation, and the staff went the extra mile by surprising us with a complimentary birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The buffet was priced around nine thousand per person, and it was worth every cent. The food choices were extensive and delicious something for everyone! The ambiance was calm and relaxing, giving us a peaceful space to enjoy the evening. The staff were incredibly attentive and courteous throughout. Highly recommend Graze Kitchen for special occasions or if you’re simply looking for a top-tier buffet in Colombo. Will definitely be returning!
Sanyuktha A — Google review
We tried the weekday dinner buffet at Graze Kitchen, Hilton Colombo, to celebrate my mother’s and father-in-law’s birthdays. We were a group of 8, and I had emailed the team in advance to let them know about the celebration. They kindly replied saying that two complimentary cakes would be arranged, which we thought was a lovely gesture. However, on the night, they only brought out one cake at first. This felt a little uncomfortable as it overlooked one of the birthdays. Once I mentioned it again, they did bring out the second cake, which we appreciated, but it would have been much nicer if it had been handled smoothly without having to remind them. The food overall was good, though the buffet didn’t have as wide a variety as we expected for a Hilton dinner spread. There were sections for Indian, Chinese, and Sri Lankan cuisine, along with a few pasta and pizza options. The Japanese section was a little disappointing — to my surprise, there were no dumplings, and the sushi corner was quite small with only a limited variety. On the other hand, the dessert spread was excellent, with a generous range of sweets that everyone really enjoyed. Service throughout the evening was generally very good. Most of the staff were polite, attentive, and helpful, which made the evening pleasant. The only downside was that towards the end of the night, one waiter came across as a bit rude, which slightly took away from an otherwise smooth service experience. ✨ Overall, Graze Kitchen is a nice spot for a celebration. The food was good, the desserts were impressive, and the service was mostly commendable, but a greater variety of dishes and more attention to detail in handling special requests would make the experience truly exceptional.

⭐ Rating: 4/5 Visited Graze Kitchen (November 2025) at Hilton Colombo for their weekday lunch buffet. The place was packed, mostly with people from formal and corporate backgrounds — so it’s definitely best to make a reservation in advance. The buffet offered a decent variety of dishes for the price (around 7,000 LKR). Taste-wise, nothing was disappointing — everything was well-prepared and flavorful. 💡 Tip: Don’t skip the coffee at the end — a good cuppa really helps melt all that delicious food away.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 - One of the Best Buffet Experiences in Colombo! We went to the Hilton Colombo for the lunch buffet, and it was absolutely amazing! The food variety was impressive – so many delicious options to choose from, covering different cuisines and flavors. Everything we tried tasted fresh and well-prepared. The staff were also excellent – super helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. The service was smooth and professional. From the atmosphere to the food and service, everything was top-notch. Honestly, it was one of the best buffet experiences we’ve had in Colombo. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food and a lovely dining experience!

An exceptional dining experience—highly recommended! This was my second visit, and once again, the food was delicious and full of flavor. The spread offered a great variety, and the customer service was warm and attentive throughout. While the dessert selection was a bit limited, the quality was still enjoyable. A nice touch with the availability of cocktails as well. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Graze Kitchen at Hilton Colombo is honestly one of my all-time favorite spots for family and friends’ outings! Every time I visit, the food, the service, and the whole atmosphere are just perfect. Their à la carte menu is absolutely worth the price.. everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious and well presented. I have to be honest though, I tried their dinner buffet once, and it wasn’t really my favorite. The taste didn’t match the high standard of their à la carte dishes. But other than that, everything else has always been amazing! My go-to order is their Tuna Sandwich ❤️ it’s unbelievably good, fresh, and full of flavor! 😍 This time I tried the Seafood Noodles, and trust me, it was simply next level… so tasty and well-balanced! Also, I really want to mention one of their supervisors or managers.. he’s always dressed neatly in full kit and so friendly! He actually remembered me from my previous visit and came over to say hello again, which honestly made my day. That kind of personal attention and memory for guests shows how truly professional and kind the staff are here. Overall, Hilton Colombo’s Graze Kitchen never disappoints. Great food, lovely staff, comfortable ambiance, and service that makes you feel special every single time. Can’t wait to go again soon! 💖✨

Nestled in the charming Glen Aber Place of Colombo 04, Fire and Ice Pizzeria has been delighting locals and visitors alike with its authentic Italian cuisine since it opened its doors in the city. Founded by Annamaria Forgione, an Italian chef from Naples, this cozy eatery offers a warm ambiance that invites you to relax while enjoying mouthwatering dishes.
The food is amazing!!! And reasonably priced! We got the cheesy garlic bread (yum!), the prawn ravioli (delicious!!) and then a oven baked chicken penne dish…the hazelnut chocolate stuffed calzone (a bit too bread-y for me. But it had A LOT of chocolate inside- for you chocoholics.) The place is super cute too. A house turned into a restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating.

Another Italian pizzeria in Colombo, and it's a winner! Opened in November 2018. This place looks like a serious contender for some really good thin crust pizza. Price range for a 12inch pizza is between Rs.1200-1900/- . They also serve pastas and salads. Along with some really good soft Italian ice cream. Parking is on the street. AC and out door area available. Service was fast. Seating for about 20 to 30 people. The owner was very friendly. And checked up on us many times. The food was tasty, light and clean. They also use paper straw's and paper bags, didn't see any plastic. Which is a bonus.

Good food, charming little place, bit of a hidden gem in the heart of the city. Really enjoyed the pizza here. Haven't tried the pasta to be fair, but I've heard good things from reliable sources. As a bonus, they do soft-serve ice cream too. Definitely worth a look if you're a fan of Italian food, or food in general for that matter.
Mifi K — Google review
Really good pizza, cozy place (way more spacious than it looks from the outside!), good service. No separate parking but can park on the roadside. Slightly on the higher side of the pricing range. They provide salt, pepper, pickled chillies, red chillies, and oregano for you to sprinkle on your pizza.. The garlic focaccia was yummy and fluffy while warm and came like a small pizza. Enough for 3-4 people as a starter. The pizza is yummy with a bunch of flavours. They don't skimp on the olives. I would have liked a bit more spice - the pepper and chillies helped a bit but not enough for my taste. Totally recommend for a date. You can BYOB as well.

This place looks small on the outside but it’s quite spacious inside. The pizza here is really good and the service is excellent. Parking isn’t an issue after office hours(after 5pm) since the road outside provides ample space to park. The ambiance is really nice. Perfect for a date. Overall a good experience!

If you are looking for authentic Italian food here in Colombo, look no further! This newly opened restaurants is truly a hidden gem in the centre of Colombo. The Ambience is contemporary and the overall feel is elegant. The pizza is fantastic and taste just like it would in Napoli. I would highly recommend the polenta, it is made completely in house! They even grind the corn themselves and use amazing fresh ingredients. Really an item not to be missed. This place is perfect for the family, for business lunches or a nice romantic meal for two. Personally my favourite item on the menu is the Chocolate Mousse, which is rich, light, fluffy and gorgious. If you don't have the time to pop by they will also deliver Uber eats!

Pizza here is surprisingly good. Far better than the pizza that we buy on Pizza franchise stores. The atmosphere is good. Service is okay and overall this place gives positive vibes. Highlight of this place is the pizza options. Clean and authentic.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Pizza Bakery, One Galle Face! The pizzas are phenomenal – perfectly baked with fresh, high-quality ingredients and flavors that hit just right. I especially enjoyed their lamb pizza (can't remember the name), the crust was crispy on the outside yet soft and airy inside. The ambiance is cozy and modern, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re a pizza lover, this place is an absolute must-visit!

The restaurant is open to the walkway of the top level at OGF. People constantly walking by. Service is okay, nothing special to say, they are not a very polite bunch, but you get what you order. Ordered the Hellboy pizza (specifically mentioned spicy in the menu), and signature stuffed garlic bread with pulled lamb. The pizza was not spicy. Can you taste the sour dough? Somewhat yes. The texture was fantastic tho. Tried the chillie oil to fix the spice situation, which did not help at all. The garlic bread was stuffed with a sort of battered onion. The pulled lamb (for which we payed 700 additionally + tax) added about 10 - 15 pieces of meat. Does that look like pulled lamb to you? The garlic bread was tasty tho. In conclusion the, food is not worth the astronomical total you pay. Nothing screams I NEED TO HAVE THIS AGAIN, so this was a one time visit.

Located on the 6th Level of One Galle Face Mall. A beautiful mall, and a beautiful restaurant. We ordered 2 Fresh Lime Juices and they were really refreshing, probably the tastiest ones we have had so far in Sri Lanka - we did ask for them to be slightly sweet, that's probably what made the difference. We ordered a 12" Veg Sourdough Calzone - t's a folded pizza, We had never tried one before, and this was excellent. We could see them make it in a fire oven. Stuffed inside the folded pizza were black olive, zucchini, caramelized onion, jalapeño, basil pesto, mozzarella. 10/10 would recommend. All the staff were so warm and friendly, great place to eat.

Came here for dinner and ordered the large lamb pizza and some drinks. Even though the price is a bit high, we thought the portion would be big and the topping would be good and meaty, but there were about 8 pieces of lamb, which was a disappointment. The pizza was meh. The service was slow, even though it was just us in the whole restaurant. There was too much noise outside as well (which the restaurant has no control over).

Cafe 1959 by Raux Brothers is a charming café located above the Raux Brothers showroom. The ambiance is lovely, reflecting the style of the shop. It's a great spot for a quiet hangout or relaxation. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious food and drinks, including amazing desserts like the Parisian Chocolate Tart with its three distinct layers and flaky tart shell. They also serve fresh salads, sandwiches, brunch specials, and high teas.
Went there for a quick coffee and had a really nice experience. The location is convenient and the ambiance is great. They serve delicious coffee and have a friendly staff. The crispy chicken burger was really nice. However not a big fan of their hot chocolate!! They have a large parking space.

Quality does come at a price. While I found it to be quite expensive, the taste and quality made it worth the expense. However, I would recommend it primarily for those who don't mind spending lavishly.

Card payments are accepted here. The place consists of two sections and also offers free parking, making it convenient for visitors. There is plenty of seating available, making it a great spot for casual meetups with friends or even a first date. While the menu may not have an extensive selection of food options, it primarily focuses on drinks, which are the main highlight. The overall ambiance is pleasant, making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy good company.

I visited Cafe 1959 by Raux Brothers with some colleagues for a quick lunch, and overall, it was a decent experience. The Boston brioche prawn sandwich was a highlight—the bread was soft, and the prawns were perfectly cooked, making it really enjoyable. I tried the sweet lemon iced tea, which was just okay, nothing extraordinary. One thing to note is that the prices are on the higher side, which might not be ideal for everyone. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable, especially during the warmer parts of the day. Overall, while the food was good, especially the sandwich, the experience could have been better with a few adjustments.

Cafe 1959 by Raux Brothers is a lovely spot with a modern, Western-inspired vibe that makes it a refreshing change in Colombo. The space is well-designed—sleek, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxed afternoon. We tried their chai, and while it was smooth and enjoyable, we thought a bit more spice would have really elevated it. Still, it was a nice cup and paired well with the overall atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a chic cafe experience in the city. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu next time!

This place has great interiors and plenty of parking. I went to claim a Feelo voucher and tried the classic chicken burger. The food wasn’t worth the price, even with 50% off. The service was also disappointing. I won’t visit again and don’t recommend it.
Nileeka A — Google review
I really like coming to Cafe 1959, it's a safe option for me to go to before deciding where to go next... It's a nice "stopover". Their menu is not an extensive one, just the right amount of options. As much as the food doesn't blow me away, it always is consistent. It's not amazing but I wouldn't turn my nose up at it. And their kade tea always hits the spot (hits the wallet too). Atmosphere is nice, really mellow vibe. I like the decor, the chairs you sit on are very comfortable; it's like they want you to come and stay for a while. You feel very welcomed and at home. One issue is that the restaurant overlooks it's car park area, which... is a little distracting. Good service, not amazing but good. Attentive and efficient. I wouldn't say helpful and I do find that they all look so bored, but that doesn't effect the service. I would recommend 1959 to people, local or otherwise. Just beware that it isn't exactly a cheap option to go for.

Atmosphere is what gives this place a 3🌟 Service was terrible at the time we visited. Says it opens at 3pm but wasn't opened even until 3.30pm. Our order was taken and received it past 5pm. Even another couple who visited left without even getting their coffee which they ordered. *Once again recommended by FEELO* We ordered 2 pizzas -thin crust (full- deviled chicken, ½n½ - Nai miris beef n hb cuttlefish) Wasn't tasteless to say the least. I personally liked cuttlefish one more. Beef was minced n a lil spicy, deviled chicken was alright. Indoor seating area was nice (attachments) Outdoor seating area overlooking tennis players play while eating is different Lady of this place is a very sweet woman indeed. So is the waiter guy. One thing that should be done by the management is to be very punctual to the times and maybe clean the outdoor chairs since birds can access that area (pic)

Arthur's Pizzeria on Havelock Road is a popular spot known for its delicious thin-crust pizzas. The Nai Miris sauce served with the pizzas adds a spicy kick, making it a great choice for those who love spicy food. The upstairs area offers air conditioning and more space, while the downstairs area lacks air conditioning. However, some beverages may not always be available.
Last Wednesday, we decided to give Athur’s Pizza a try, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! We ordered a 12-inch Devilled Chicken Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The thin crust was perfectly baked, crispy on the edges, and packed with flavor. Without a doubt, it deserves a solid 10/10! 🔥 Along with the pizza, we also tried their Chicken Kottu, which was just as tasty. Unlike the usual oily kottu, this one had a perfect balance—less oily yet bursting with flavor, making it even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was good, and they even have an air-conditioned upstairs section, which adds to the comfort. If you're a fan of good pizza and kottu, this place is definitely worth a visit! Would highly recommend it! ✅

The food was excellent—easily 5 stars! The service was good (4 stars), and the atmosphere was decent but could be improved (3 stars). However, the pricing is quite high—some items even cost more than the manufacturer’s price of certain soft drinks! Speaking of soft drinks, they were just average (3 stars). Overall, a good experience, but the value for money could be better.

I ordered a Margherita pizza from Uber Eats from their Havelock road outlet. My order was a bit delayed, due to the heavy rain. One of the staff members acknowledged that the order was delayed due to the weather conditions (not their fault, all the drivers were unavailable). They were responsible enough to call me on my phone and update me on the status of the order. Appreciate their service and professionalism. The pizza was so good!!

**5/5 Stars - Arthur’s Pizzeria: The Best in the Business!** If you’re looking for the ultimate pizza experience, Arthur’s Pizzeria is the place to be! Hands down, they are the best in the business, and here’s why: First, let’s talk about the crust. Unlike other pizzerias that serve thick, doughy crusts, Arthur’s keeps it perfectly thin and crispy. It’s a game-changer! Every bite is a perfect balance of flavors and textures, making it impossible to stop at just one slice. But what truly sets Arthur’s apart is their creativity. Their **Kochchi Miris Pizza** is a masterpiece! As a Sri Lankan-inspired variant, it brings a unique, spicy kick that’s absolutely addictive. The fusion of flavors is bold and exciting, and it’s clear that the team at Arthur’s isn’t afraid to think outside the box. The atmosphere is another win. The vibe is lively and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a special occasion, the ambiance adds so much to the experience. The only downside? Parking can be a bit of a challenge. The space is limited, so plan accordingly. But trust me, it’s worth the effort. Arthur’s Pizzeria has won me over with their exceptional pizzas, innovative menu, and welcoming atmosphere. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. This place is a gem!
Nisal Y — Google review
Compared to other outlets by Arthur’s, this place is somewhat ill-maintained and the dining area is directly exposed to the road. It’s really uncomfortable as there’s no proper ventilation/ air conditioning, making you sweat if it’s the noon time. Place is a bit messy but the staff is prompt and attends to your requests swiftly. The ordered pizza wasn’t up to expectation and the overall experience is a let down. Also, in a busy time, you can’t park close by as it doesn’t offer much space on the road. Won’t be visiting this outlet again or recommending.
Nimantha P — Google review
This place isn’t really worth the hype. The pizzas are of average quality, but Kottu and beverages are below average! The staff are friendly and helpful. However not satisfied with the overall experience.
Ishani W — Google review
Highly recommend. I got a 12inch nai miris Pizza with lemon juce. Its really yummy. I like it.
Kavindi M — Google review
Tried their Nai Miris pizza. It was spicy and if you add their Nai Miris sauce, it becomes extremely spicy. Overall pizza had good taste but chicken pieces was mostly taste less. Anyway you won't get any taste if you add Nai Miris sauce. Limited choices in beverages. No air-conditioning. Limited seating available. Parking in the roadside.

15Chill Colombo

Chill Restaurant Colombo is a must-visit spot in Sri Lanka for noodle lovers. The menu features crowd-favorite dishes like Korean style black noodles, seafood stir-fried noodles, stone pot glass noodles with prawns, and hot and spicy shrimp and noodle soup. The restaurant offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere at Port City with vibrant decor that enhances the dining experience.
If you're out in Colombo (especially in Port City), this is one restaurant that you must visit. Starting with the entrance, leading to the lobby it gives a very classy vibe and the atmosphere is just great. One small issue there was was the kitchen area is in the opposite side of the same room and occasionally smoke leaks into the dining floor. Not much of an issue for some but some might be a bit sensitive to such smoke. Moving on upstairs, the area is a bit more open than the bottom and there is also a dessert bar up top. The bottom floor is dark and has a very classy and romantic vibe and the top has a more cheery and down-to-earth vibe. The food, is just great. We had a beef Fried Rice which is exactly what that is - a no nonsense beef Fried Rice. Nothing too fancy but the attention to culinary detail is exquisite. The beef is of good quality (grade) and is softened prior to frying, the simple yet tasty ingredients and combination of light spices give it an additional layer of attractiveness. The fried curry leaves and onions together with peanuts gives this dish the perfect finishing touches that does not hold back on taste. And after all this, the star of the show is definitely going to be that killer chillie paste - it's hot but it's sweet and saucy and does a great job punching the flavours of the fried rice. Hats off to the chef/s responsible for this dish. Then the desserts. They are made in-house and i thought that was quite lovely. The balls of coffee ice-cream with a heavy water and of course the teardrops of heavy cream is just amazing. The plain ice cream itself is not "plain" per say but it's a work of a master to get that fine blend right. Overall, this is a great restaurant to be in and the food is something that will make your day!

It is really a nice place for Friday night gathering. The dinner buffet had so many food items and especially they are so tasty. Not only the main buffet, starters , dessert corner also had varieties and they all were tasty. Though they are having a bar inside , you are allowed to bring liquor from outside too. Music initially supplied by the band. It was so soothing at the beginning and welcomed you to the dance floor gradually. After 11pm you can dance with DJ. It is really nice place to this crowded Colombo. Hope that the vibe will remain after the other constructions are completed too.
Rasika S — Google review
I had such an amazing night with my family here, despite the dinner buffet being booked they had amazing customer service and helped us secure a table. Reservations are usually required to make ahead of time especially on buffet nights (Friday/Saturday). They also surprised me with a complimentary cake and belated birthday wishes since I couldn't book on my actual bday and it was really memorable and heartwarming. The Friday night dinner buffet had a good selection of food, salad items, soups, mains and various cakes for desserts. The ambience was amazing and very "chill" indeed as the name suggests, and the live music paired with the dancing later at night was enjoyable and fun. The overall experience was amazing, with top notch customer service which I appreciated a lot. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Delicious food! Went here on our first night in Colombo and were not disappointed. The menu makes it difficult to choose from, everything sounds great. Drinks were delicious, especially the passion fruit fizz. We ordered the tuna tartare (fresh, zesty, packed with flavour) and the tiger prawn crostini (to die for!). The barramundi was exquisite! The sliders were okay (had a little too much cooking time). Popcorn dessert was a great way to finish the meal! Almost didn’t want to share! Would definitely recommend! Only thing was that the service was a bit slow. Had to ask for the dessert menu multiple times or when we wanted more drinks.

Chill Colombo Port City is truly an outstanding concept restaurant! The ambiance is beautifully designed – stylish yet relaxed – making it the perfect spot for couples, families, larger groups, or even business lunches. The coffee was exceptional, and the menu offers a fantastic selection of drinks and delicious dishes. We were warmly welcomed and felt very well taken care of. A special thanks to Channa, who served us wonderfully, and even the restaurant manager took the time for a casual, friendly chat with us – a lovely personal touch! The location is great, right in the heart of the new Port City, with convenient parking available. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Colombo – highly recommended!

Excellent food, unique ambiance and good service. During crowded time it takes significant amount of time to serve the food. However staff is courteous and trying their best to serve efficiently. Loved their Pizza range and Lamprice.
S M — Google review
For Rs. 6,500 per head, the Friday night buffet really wasn’t worth it. There were very limited options for vegetarians and seafood dish only some sushi and a taco stand which was disappointing. The only highlights were the music and the ambience — both were great, but the food selection definitely needs improvement.
Sachin P — Google review
Food was a disappointment. Mee goreng was dry and pale. Chill slider signature burger was served soggy casava chips. Slow cooked chicken was flavorless. Lumprice was bit ok but average. No value for money. Atmosphere was good and cosy and chill. Too hyped and too pricy.

Italian restaurant
Callisto Italian restaurant is a delightful dining spot known for its impeccable pasta dishes and cozy ambiance. The rave reviews on social media highlight the excellent quality of food, especially the ravioli, gnocchi, risotto, and homemade pesto. The overall experience is enhanced by the outdoor dining area and a good selection of wines. Despite not having an extensive menu, patrons keep coming back for more due to the delicious offerings.
A cosy little Italian restaurant right next to the legendary Giovanni's. Amazing ravioli, gnocchi and properly cooked risotto. Don't forget the bread at the end to sop up all that delicious sauce left over after you're done with your meal. The home made pesto was punchy, pungent and perfect. Service was friendly and unobtrusive and genuine. What's not to love about this place?

Amazing ambiance. So very chilled out place. Great pastas! Love it Soo much. You can order pizza from next door(Micheal Angelo). Gets pretty full on the weekend. Recommend calling before you go. Parking is on the road.

A new spot in colombo serving up homely Italian food! The risotto fungi is to die for, but don’t do that because the pizza is just 🤤 The menu isn’t extensive but what they serve up keeps you coming back for more. (This is my third time in 4 weeks). Go try it out, trust me you won’t regret it!

Caffe Michaelangelo is a popular Italian restaurant with two branches in Inner Flower Road and Rajagiriya. They offer delivery services and are known for their unique Hot Butter Cuttlefish Pizza, which combines Italian and Lankan flavors. The pizzeria, located inside the Grove complex, offers outdoor dining options. Customers praise their Sri Lankan Spicy Chicken pizza for its thin crust and flavorful combination of Nai Miris and chicken.
This Pizzeria is situated inside the Grove complex. Outdoor dine-in is available. PIZZA 🍕 : We bought Sri Lankan Spicy Chicken pizza and it was so good. It is thin crust pizza with Nai Miris and chicken. Spicy level is at best. They have range of pizza to select. PASTA 🍝 : We tried Chicken in Chees sauce. It also so good. It was creamy and tastes good. Good amount of chicken has added. Price 💵 : Bit high. But taste good. Pasta portion is for one and large pizza can share with two.
