I have been a Diamond member for a while and have travelled for business and leisure to various Hilton properties abroad. When considering where to stay while on vacation for a month here in Sri Lanka, I wanted to begin our journey right, so decided to book at the Colombo Residences location(as similar to Homewood Suites, they have condo suite style layouts). I couldn't have been more right(and happy) about expecting an awesome experience since Hilton locations have always had a special home away from home comfort while travelling. And this location exceeded all expectations by an immeasurable amount. From the moment I checked in, the evening front desk staff were so kind and warm with their hospitality. As I had Diamond status, I received a very quick and efficient complimentary upgrade to an executive suite on a high floor with possibly the most amazing view of the Lotus Tower. The accommodations were incredibly spacious, modern and comfortable. We also had the opportunity to dine at the hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the course of our stay, as the consistency of the exemplary service continued there as well. Extraordinarily kind and knowledgeable staff combined with a diverse variety of quality(sincere compliments to the various Chefs and attendants) food choices across various times of the day, led to a delicious experience. The overall stay reinforced a sense of comfort and safety as well, because the location is extremely secure. It cannot be stated enough how amazing the entire host of various staff members at this location are. Their kindness, friendliness, hospitality and efficiency were incredible to witness. We have already booked and are definitely looking forward to our next multiple day stays at the Hilton Colombo Residences. If you are visiting or traveling through the city, this location is highly recommended, as it checks off all the highest standards of a luxurious Hilton stay, as our stay was beyond perfect.

Overall 5 stars for our stay. The food (breakfast buffet and dinner buffet superb with lots of options and super friendly staff). Check in very smooth (we arrived at 4am so booked the night before). 30m long pool with many lanes and kiddy pools with playground lots of fun for the kids. Also a steam room, Finnish sauna, and jacuzzi inside the gym area. We had a 3 bedroom apartment which had a king bed, a queen bed, and 2 twins. The living room had a regular non fold out sofa. Also 2 full baths, a big kitchen and washer/dryer. The rooms are getting slightly dated but nothing to complain about - everything was clean and the entire stay was good. Thanks 🙏

Had a wonderful stay at Hilton Colombo Residences! The rooms are very spacious and well-designed, giving more of a serviced apartment feel — perfect for staying with friends and enjoying time together in the same space. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was huge with plenty of delicious options to choose from. From the planning stages to the end of the evening, the staff were extremely supportive, friendly, and attentive to every detail, making sure everything went smoothly. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all our guests, perfectly complementing the elegant atmosphere of the ballroom. We are deeply grateful to the Hilton Residencies Colombo team for their professionalism and warm hospitality. You truly made our celebration shine!

We stay 3 weeks family very nice and good clean room and the lifts could be better. First staff wasn't very good we mentioned. After was good .but could be better of the price. Location were very good .some staff very friendly. Other are not .Reception need bit smile and friendly. No welcome drink advice though out.but we love the place. Food is lovely. But after get bit bored.

While our overall stay at Colombo Villa Collection had its highlights, we feel it’s important to share an unfortunate experience that affected our visit. On the day of our checkout, although we were informed we could remain on the property until 12pm, the villa had also been rented out to another party from 8am. This resulted in unexpected disruption and a clear clash in the use of the space. We had spent a significant amount of money on our stay, and expected to have full access to the property until the agreed checkout time. Unfortunately, we were only informed of the overlapping booking late the night before, when the owner visited us briefly. While we acknowledge the gesture, the conversation seemed more focused on avoiding negative feedback than offering a sincere apology or solution. The issue was largely brushed aside rather than responsibly addressed. That said, the villa itself is beautiful — clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The service staff were warm, attentive, and helpful throughout, which we genuinely appreciated. With better communication and more respect for guests’ time and investment, the experience could easily match the quality of the space.

Stayed a number of times at the Villa in November. Convenient very centrally placed in quiet and safe area of Colombo. Very close to National Museum. Leafy, shaded streets among embassies and government offices and private villas. The Villa has the feel of an old private mansion, slightly faded, but I personally like that. Impeccable service from the staff! Enormously friendly and helpful!

Great and cozy family run guesthouse. Great location in Colombo. The pool was perfect for our family. Room was well sized and had everything we needed. Breakfast is especially recommended - very tasty and generous portions.

beautiful and amazing graceful historic ancestral house which has been converted to a cosy rustic boutique with resemble in the heart of colombo city. based in a very good location with easy access to all parts of the city and within walking distance to many attraction, highlights and food (restaurants and cafes). facility does have a small pool as well. Derick and his team were really wonderful must give hats off to them. Derick the manager was friendly and expect about the city and the rest of the island. Rooms were also beautiful and antic dutch colonial house was a treat in the city. They do offer breakfast as well.

We loved our 3 nights at Colombo Villa. The room was cool and clean and ideal for our family of 5. The kids had a great time in the pool, and the breakfast we had both days was delicious and hearty and set us up for our days exploring. Amazing location close to some great sights. 👍

Good place for a small party with pool facilities. Check if the AC is working inside the sitting and dining area, as the day we went it was broken.

After a long flight this place was such a nice quiet and serene stop in the colonial manner I was looking for. It has all the amenities of modern establishments but the colonial beauty of the houses of by gone eras ! Service was as impeccable. But beware 🤔 take earplugs because it's possible you might be awakened by BUMPS IN THE NIGHT! We had maybe monkeys?playing on our roof!! A bit scary when you are asleep and it sounds like they are in the room!!!🤪🤪🤪

Spent three perfect nights at Ishq. The boutique hotel and the service was impeccable. Asunga and his team were extremely attentive looking after us. The food at breakfast and dinner was amazing and the luxury villas are absolutely stunning. Don’t look anywhere else, just book it!

Luxury personified. We stayed in Master suite 1. This consisted of a bedroom, large lounge, dressing room and bathroom. We also had an outside terrace. Asanga was our host for our stay and we couldn't ask for anyone more attentive or caring. The food is superb. We had the afternoon tea when we arrived which was wonderful. Breakfast was equally delicious. This is a wonderful luxurious, peaceful oasis in Colombo which I wholeheartedly recommend.

What a beautyfull stay here! The warm welcome after a long flight, the oasis of quietness in the middle of the city of Colombo. Very clean, friendly, and so nively decorated! Last stay (1 night) of our Sri Lanka trip and one of the highlights. We booked a double room but got a much appreciated upgrade. The Villa is an architecture gem, with curated design, rooms and garden. Top notch service and hospitality, with right level of attentiveness. Restaurant is also high level although a bit pricey, but worth it. Only missing coffee machine/kettle in the room, the rest of the amenities was great.

An all-round perfect stay. On the occasion of my brother's wedding and at the end of a round trip, we chose the Ishq as our retreat from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. And it was in every respect. Excellent service and the feeling of being at home. One of the best places we stayed on our trip through Sri Lanka.

Visiting the Temple was an absolutely amazing experience. It's so much more than just a temple; it's a vibrant center of knowledge and culture. The collection of sculptures is incredible, with so much history and detail to see. Watching the people quietly praying added to the powerful and peaceful atmosphere. Don Bastian de Silva Jayasuriya Goonewardane, a 19th-century shipping merchant who was seeking suitable land to build a temple for the Matara Sri Dharmarama thero, bought a beautiful tract belonging to three Moors, and filled and prepared the land at great expense. The land was bordered on two sides by the Moragoda Ela and the Pettigala Ela was used to build the temple, which was subsequently named the Padawthota Gangaramaya Viharaya. The Mudaliyar, with the assistance of the people built a great 'Chaitya' (Dagaba) of 30 Riyans, and built a great decorative arch (thorana) and a 'Sandakada pahana' modeled on the ones found at Anuradhapura, at the entrance to the temple. A 'Bo' sapling brought from the great Sri Maha Bhodiya in Anuradhapura, was planted with his own hands and nurtured. He also built a three-storied preaching hall, walls, railings and the moat around the temple.

They have a good zoological and botanical section which they'll exhibit for Universitites and Schools only on request. They have a small, well equipped auditorium for events as well. The director is a very polite and understanding officer. The museum doesn't display all the cultures and traditions celebrated in Srilanka as most of the treasures have been stolen during the colonial period.

One of the main attractions is the Throne of Sri Wikrama Raasingha, the last King of Ceylon which is displayed. Main building showcases the Sri Lankan heritage, culture, and history. The other building showcases about the Agriculture, Pre historic facts about Sri Lanka, Mammals and Bio diversity facts. Main attraction is the area of Mineral resources (Gems, Graphite, Phosphate, Silica)which are found in the island.

One of the popular Sri Lankan cuisine restaurants in Colombo, this place is favored by both locals and tourists, making it a trending spot. It is easily accessible from the main road, and parking is always available. The food is delicious, with each dish served as a single portion, making it perfect for sharing among kids. You can customize the spices to suit your preference. My favorites are the mutton kottu and prawn curry with roasted bread. All the ingredients are fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Typically, there is no waiting time, which adds to the convenience. I highly recommend it for dinner, as the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

I tried the Sri Lankan mixed flavors platter and one of their desserts (photos attached). Both were delicious! The waiter was very kind, friendly, and attentive — he even gave us information while chatting with us. One small note: if you don’t want spicy food, make sure to mention it in advance. Overall, it’s definitely a place where you can comfortably enjoy a meal if you’re around. Highly recommended!

Greeted with smiles. We had fried rice both chicken and prawns. The isso thel dala was really nice. Spicy but delicious 😋. Also the potato fry was excellent. Service is excellent. The drinks were excellent. Genuine sri lankan culinary experience in the heart of colombo. You got nelum pokuna and the colombo council building for the view. Easy to have a conversation. The watalappan was fantastic as well. I didn't notice any artificial flavors or enhancers. It's a healthy genuine experience. Highly recommend!

The highlight of our short stayover at Colombo before heading to explore other parts of SL. When the 2 of us, ordered the Jaffna Crab Curry we were warned that the portion size is usually fit for 3-4 people. And to be fair, it is but little did they know our capacity to devour that delicious crab and soak in all the gravy into our set lunch menu plate with rice, bread and vegetables. I'm going to have dreams about that crab gravy. There were so many other things on the menu that caught our eye but our stomachs betrayed us by only allowing us to eat so much. Coming back again on the next visit to Colombo to savour more.

The service was exceptionally friendly, and the staff took the time to guide us through their extensive menu and explain the dishes. The food was delicious as well. We had roti paratha, veggie curry, prawns, milk hopper and buffalo milk. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a sri lankan experience in Colombo! :)

Fantastic Sri Lankan Fare in Colombo Upali's by Nawaloka is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in Colombo. From the moment you walk in, you'll appreciate the trendy, welcoming atmosphere—it's a chic spot to enjoy traditional food. The location is excellent, too, right in the heart of Colombo and conveniently close to Viharamahadevi Park. The menu truly delivers. Whether you're craving comforting staples like roast paan or looking for perfectly cooked meat dishes, Upali's has you covered. The flavors are genuinely authentic and utterly delicious. If you want a taste of real Sri Lanka in a vibrant setting, make a stop here. Highly recommended!

Poor food quality. We ordered the srilankan taster plate, they took more than 20 minutes to bring us the dish. String hoopers and hoppers were good, the garlic rice was extremely dry and the whole platter was very average, Unlike the other reviews…. Extremely disappointing. Fish and cuttlefish were average too. Not worth it. Poor service

It is a small man made lake with a temple and meditation place. There is a ticket for foreign travellors with LKR 400 per adult. This ticket can be used in Gangaramaya temple as well. You can cover this place along with Gangaramya tempe as they are just a road apart

A wonderful green space and water feature with plenty of wildlife. A great place for an early morning walk to enjoy the sights. Wonderful place for kids to see the animals around the lake and enjoy a ride on a swan. The temple and small island with the bridge walkway are enjoyable. I think the city could do more in terms of better maintenance, repairing the walk ways. My hat off and thanks to the wonderful ladies who are busy cleaning in the mornings. Thank you! The Beira Lake is a lake which is situated in the center of Colombo City. It is surrounded by many large businesses in the city. The lake was built by the Portuguese in order to protect Colombo from enemies, especially local kings. The lake gets an inflow of water from the Kelani River and flows out to the Indian Ocean. The lake area includes a park which has swan boat rides, a suspension bridge with a small island in the middle of the lake. It is a great place to spend some quality time relaxing in serenity, especially in the evening. It is home to the Seema Malaka Temple and is located close to The Gangaramaya Temple.

This lake in Colombo is a really nice spot, both for the temple on the water and for the lovely ride on swan boats. You can rent one for 30 minuts and pedal on the water among many smily local people. The atmosphere is great and you will get a nice view of the city buildings surrounding the lake.

There is a passenger boat service from Union Place to Colombo Fort implemented as a solution to ease the traffic congestion. Passengers could use the service free-of-charge. This service is operated by the Sri Lanka Navy. It is possible to travel from Colombo Fort to Union Place in less than 15 minutes.

The Beira lake is situated in the heart of Colombo. Surrounded by sky rise apartments and malls, its just a lovely lake to walk around. There is a little bridge that you can take to walk over into the center and benches to sit and unwind. The walk around the lake is a good 2 km so its perfect for an evening run. There are also little peddle boats that you can rent and use in the lake. The Buddhist Temple is also accessible from here and makes a great visiting spot for tourists.

An amazing and beautiful paradise, full of magic and wonder. Serene, architecturally amazing. A big tribute to everyone who runs the place and offers such solace and solid perfection.

a stunning home; the tour is rather short / has limited interaction considering how much you would pay (assuming you’re a foreigner), but I suppose you take away from it what you will. I had a pleasant time learning from our tour guide, who has been employed at the residence for 15 years, and is an expert in his own right. I visited at 10am on a Monday and our group had about 15 pax.

The Bawa Mansion is well preserved, and the administrator is very happy to assist with exploration and explanations. After a basic explanation of each location, you can ask him about the part you are interested in. The tour fee is 5000KLR per person. Suggestions for improving the video playback room:The film is a bit old, which adds to the retro feel, but it needs better picture and sound quality. The chairs are not sturdy enough to allow me to sit down and relax completely.

Great experience! Visiting the master architects home and the guide was quite thorough as well. A sort of must visit for architects and people into architecture.

Absolutely beautiful hidden gem in Colombo! My 3rd time here and it’s so worth it. The rooms are booked till 2026 but you can still visit the property and explore the house with the knowledgeable curator. Best to buy tickets in advance but you can via their WhatsApp or the website.

A very beautifully designed home by Sri Lanka’s preeminent architect. A comprehensive tour with a knowledgeable docent. Should not be missed if you are in Colombo.

Great option when staying in Colombo. Located in a really nice area of the city, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. Service is excellent. My only tip would be for the breakfast to be better. It was quite limited and wasn't great. Overall, recommended!

The atmosphere in where we were sitting is one of the most panoramic views I’ve ever seen, and the sounds of the wind chime are very soothing to the ears. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. The sushi was amazing and the chicken gyoza was simply so mouthwatering. The tom yum goong and the seafood rice was heavenly. But, my most favorite food here was the cuttlefish. It almost tasted so fresh and hot, and it was just delicious! I loved this place so much, and if I can, I will definitely go again.

I absolutely loved the architecture and interior of this place. I could live here every single day! Very spacious and carefully decorated. Rooms were clean and beautiful. I only had breakfast here and I was happy with it. I'd love to stay here again ❤️

They have increased the prices of their Uber Eats offerings exponentially so I'm left with no choice but to give this review. Rates are now higher than well established food outlets. I don't see the logic in this because they lost me as a customer overnight and I would have kept buying till the place closed down or I died. Lol.

I stayed two nights at this place.the hotel ambiance was amazing. The staff was very friendly. It was really nice when the chef came to the table and recommended some delicious food. Tuan the manager was there all the time to support the staff during the evening time. Keep up the good work I will definitely recommend this place for people who like to sit and work during day time.

The Bull Frog cocktails are simply delicious. What you should really try is the chicken sausages, they are so soft you think you are in heaven! In the weekends they even have a live band performing. Staff is so friendly you never want to leave.

The place is in a nice place in Colombo. The balcony we dined at faced the Colombo Cricket Club grounds. Nice sunset from there. The margarita flavoured and the Mojito was hreat too. However , the meat kottu for dinner was not very satisfying; was cold and a bit too dry. Staff was friendly. Good place for a night out for a drink. Dinner, however comes with a limited choice

Mostly crowded on Friday's and Saturdays. I love this olace because it has both delicious food and amazing cocktails. Ladies are walk in free. You can have amazing time while drinking and dancing. Some days they have live performance and mostly DJ's.

Great pub, very chill place to hangout.fl there is also a live band like Silk and 41 Sugar just above the building.

A good place for a Night life entertainment. Rs 2000 is charged for male entries and it can be redeemed. Friday nights are crowded and they have good bouncers allocated to avoid conflicts within participants. Open area together with inside dance floor is availabile. A DJ and a Band will play preferably by the management.

This place is just incredible. The rooms are designed beautifully, I kept finding myself taking pictures of everything! The food was exquisite & the owners are so sweet (especially their adorable son). It's such a great feeling knowing your money is going towards such a nice family and their amazing business. 10/10 would recommend.

Really, a truly wonderful experience. I can't give high enough praise to the staff for making a wonderful stay. From the moment of check in I was treated with careful, individual attention. A booking error I'd made was handled professionally and with courtesy and little touches like bringing chocolates to the room at tonight were a wonderful touch. My ONLY regret is that I can't stay there on my return to Colombo as they are (deservedly) booked out.

This place is just amazing! We booked here for my birthday and we enjoy the place like a palace! The rooms is really clean, with a lot of style! You can enjoy netflix if you want on a LED TV! About the stafff: very friendly and they keep the smile all the time! I will come back for sure when I come back to Colombo! Food is awesome too! You can spend 3 days in this hostel without going out! AMAZING!

We stayed at Villa Raha as one of our stops in Sri Lanka while on our honeymoon. The host was extremely helpful and accomodative. We were not specifically impressed with Colombo itself, however the reception we got from Villa Raha made up for that. Everything was super neat and tidy and it was a great experience. We will recommend a stay at Villa Raha for any occasion.

A place that makes you feel good. Everything is decorated with taste and carefully thought through. From the music, to the organic shower gel, to the super food. The hosts are of an absolute kindness. It's a bit far from the centre, but totally worth it. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go again.

I came here with a group of my friends for brunch since we were visiting from the US. Hands down the best brunch spot in Colombo. The food was great and the owners were really sweet! Highly recommend this place for all.

It's a great boutique hotel in a quiet nook in Colombo, walking distance to the fantastic all day breakfast cafe, One Up. The hosts at villa raha are super friendly, eager to help out and aren't in-your -face. The complimentary Netflix account is a huge plus, ideal for rainy afternoons where you can curl up in your comfy bed and binge. Would totally recommend this place.

We booked the whole villa for oursleves everything was really fine and we liked the villa and the location. The cartaker was a very nice person but really sorry to say he should be taught to respect on some personal space of the guest where as he some times jumps in to our conversations. The beds and rooms were comfortable but not clean i would say, behind every window curtain there is so much horrible dust which caused breathing issues with the air con on at night. Even the washroom window curtaimns had horrible dust, and no handshowers which should be mentioned onsite since not everyone is comfortable with other type pf service provided. Me and my friends enjoyed the space very well together and had our fun, if people expect some privacy then this isnt the right place, and for gatherings as well. The host and the caretaker are not happy with gatherings and parties due to the location. Overall i will give just two stars, and the caretaker also should be taught to talk politely to the guest as he is rude some times as well and he repeats the same thing again and again about how to behave and use the space and then we had to mention that all of us are from the hospitality trade and we cleaned the space mostly by ourself after consuming food and using the rooftop as well.

Disappointed... we book the place with advance and came all the way from monaragala with my family, we were so disappointed about info they gave through the call becoz there is a caretaker who lives inside the house. no privacy at all, and we went for searching another place until 10 pm at night. they were waist our time and money, after 2 days the returned only half of advance money. so disappointed

the housekeeper tried to help in all ways he could We didn't read the description carefully - we thought that we booked the whole villa, but later on we found out that we booked only one room on the villa and in villa you have 2 or 3 rooms. In this case, you will have the common kitchen. But we were alone, so it was not critical to reach the center of the city - it is better to go with tuktuk

We paid the full amount before we checked in. He was just so annoying and trying to rule us like we’re staying for free. At least we can’t talk or laugh. And he did gave us a time to sleep. We slept around 5 in the morning and we were talking till that. As soon as we we slept he thrown all the food box and the food without even asking us, we spent a lot for those food we were planing on having those food the next day since we couldn’t eat that night. when we questioned him, he talked to us in a very rude manner. He only cares about money. In the morning around 7 in the morning we were sitting in the sitting room he came and switched off the fan he saw us sitting there but he didn't even ask. Because of that we left early. We didn’t have any privacy at all. Since the time we checked in he came and poked us. Horrible experience ever. Do not visit this place.

We stayed at shalimar residency for 2 weeks while preparing for my wedding. The house has 3 spaciouse and comfy bedrooms. The house is very clean and well maintained. It is very close to nugegoda and situated very conviniently. The owners are very attentive and friendly. I had initially mixed up my arrival date and arrived much earlier. They were very flexible and easy going allowed me to check in earliar than anticipated. The best thing about our stay apart from the house it self was the lovely care taker deva and his wife rani. Both of them ensured that me and my family were taken care of and offered tireless support in all the wedding preperation. As i initially arrived in sri lanka by my self having them in the house felt very safe. Deva ensured that i was comfortable and well fed. We didnt have to worry about anything during our stay and everyone that visited us absolutely loved deva and ranis hospitality. Hospitatlity was outstanding and deva personafies the kind honesty and intergrity that is now very rare in sri lanka. We will definitly be returning to stay next time. X

This place is awesome. The caretaker Deva helped us a lot and very friendly. Also, the place is very clean and it has all the facilities you need. We didn't request food but we heard Deva is a specialist cook as well 😁. I am definitely recommending this place, if you are planning on hassle free place to spend your day near Nugegoda.

The room was not clean upon arrival. Used items and other leftover stuff from previous guests were still present. There were no towels provided, and the floor was dirty with hair and even some clothing left behind. The fan made loud noises while working, and the AC remote was difficult to operate. The doors did not feel safe or secure. For the price paid, the room was definitely not worth it. Basic amenities like soap and towels, which should be included in a booked room, were missing. The curtains were dirty, torn, and did not close properly, leaving the side window half open and reducing privacy. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The cleanliness, safety, and basic facilities need serious improvement.

Very poor, we booked this around a week prior to the stay through booking. Com and since the day prior to the booking we could not contact the property we called throughout the day and even booking. Com couldnt conyact them. Finally when we arrived the place the place was closed and the owner was saying that we should talk and confirm while it was already confirmed through booking. Com and we spike a week prior to them aswell. This is so irresponsible of the place I reccomend no one to book this place.

Staying at this villa was an absolute delight! It beautifully balances a modern touch with an old soul, making it both cozy and stylish. The design is gorgeous—every corner is thoughtfully crafted, with furniture arranged in such a timeless way. You can tell a lot of heart went into making this place feel like a home. What made the experience even more special was the warmth of the family. The mom’s cooking was simply the best—each meal was filled with flavor and love, and we couldn't get enough! And Uncle? He took us on the most memorable tuk-tuk ride around town We can't wait to come back!

One of the best places I have stayed here in Colombo. Although its a villa, it felt much more than that when we stepped in. Its very serene and calming even if its in the middle of Colombo. Everyone there made our stay special, going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The rooms are beautifully decorated with thoughtful details throughout. Ayurvedic bath amnities, bamboo tothbrushes, etc etc… Was not expecting this level of detail in the villa….Absolutely worth every penny for the comfort and experience!

This was a surreal escape… We booked this villa over the weekend for change of scene and boy we were in for a surprise. We actually did not expect this level of luxury and comfort that was in the villa for the price we paid… It was an absolute bargain!. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone seeking a getaway!

Great villa to spend some time to recharge… We came here after a friend recommended it us after his photoshoot. we stayed 2 nights. Suhini was very flexible with our checkin and checkout times. The kitchen was fully eqipped with everything you need to prep meals. And Cargills foodcity is only a 2 minutes walk. Uncle Rupa is always there to give us a ride in his tuktuk for groceries and restuarants… The villa is very nicely done, and recommended to anyone. We will come back again whenever we need a break

I had the most amazing stay at this villa while visiting family in Sri Lanka. The location is absolutely excellent, there’s truly nothing else like it in the area. The villa itself is stunning, with beautifully designed interiors that make the whole place feel luxurious and unique. The rooms were large, very comfortable, and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. Even though the villa is centrally located, it’s tucked away enough to give you peace and quiet, the best of both worlds. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always attentive to any needs I had, and the hosts were wonderfully responsive. The daily room service made it feel just like staying in a luxury hotel, which was such a treat. We came across Teal Villa while casually scrolling through Airbnb and fell in love with it just from the photos. When we finally got there, the villa did not disappoint. Mr. Sylvester and his staff were so warm and welcoming and the whole booking process was seamless from start to finish. They gave us a full tour and were happy to help with anything we needed. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful and has such a cozy, homely feel to it.

We discovered Teal Villa online two days before our departure for Sri Lanka and made a last minute decision to change our booking. Sherden made immediate contact and kept in close touch on our very late arrival into Colombo. He was there past midnight to greet us and show us around the property. What a wonderful find this property is. It’s a chance for a group of up to 8 to stay in a charming, beautifully furnished house with creeping bougainvillea, delightful private courtyards, and a lovely wrought iron bannistered-spiral staircase. The house is spacious, bright and clean, and has plenty of seating areas for people to find a quiet corner. Also, there is a billiards table at the top floor. There are air-cons and fans in every room, mosquito nets over the beds and every room has an en-suite bathroom so no need to share. Would come again in a heartbeat. Thank you for the hospitality.

The two bedroom urban retreat, is very spacious. The emphasis on cleanliness and having all the necessities available is very convenient.
