I think this might be the best sweets shop I've ever tried in my life. I had a (vegan) Oreo shake and it was so goddamn delicious that I felt like I was in heaven 😭 🙌. The people who served us were super nice! But honestly, the sweets they offer are the absolute highlight of this shop. Must visit for everyone over the age of 12. DON'T BRING YOUR YOUNGER KIDS, guys! You will ruin their childhood! They can't just go here! You'd make them addicted. I swear. I'm a grown ass person and I am already addicted, I believe. So take care of your children and feed them healthy stuff instead most of the time, please! 🙏🥺

Such a nice ice cream shop. The staff are very warm amazing and creative. We ordered banana Joe and Mapfelbecher. Very very tasty. wide range of toppings and combinations and flavours available .

This is certainly a destination worth visiting. Firstly, the staff at the shop are exceptionally warm and welcoming (and they speak English). Secondly, the unique ice cream philosophy is something you should experience at least once. My son was absolutely delighted, and the virtually endless array of customization options and flavors for your ice cream is impressive. I highly recommend trying the biscuit ice cream, which is an explosion of taste sensations - it's a must-try! Another added benefit is the convenience of card payment options.

Very good ice cream. We don’t think it is overrated, it is really good and creamy. You notice that they are using special ingredients, so I understand the price. What I liked the most is that every flavor was unique and at the end they weren’t all tasting the same like in other ice cream places. I wish I live nearby 🍦🍦

It's a small place with just couple of ice-cream tastes available every day. The best part about it - they are using shovels to make portions like in a real Italian gelato cafe. The ice is of high quality, but a bit thin, not so creamy, because it's based on milk. You can also buy 0,5l and 1l containers for home :) Prices are very fair!

Excellent ice cream with a changing assortment every week. The Chocolate Deluxe and Cold Brew Coffee were delicious. Unusual flavors like Strawberry Rhubarb, Mango Lassi or Peach Passion Fruit. @2,40 € per scoop on the pricey side but worth it for the quality and value.

First time at Hej Eis today, I was specifically looking for some soft ice and it was recommended. But: soft ice machine broken, so reverted to normal ice cream, in this case Cassis and rasberry mascarpone. My wife had gooseberry and mango. Verdict: this was hands-down the best ice cream I have had in Hamburg so far. Friendly staff, too. What a find, will be back soon.

Top ice cream in Hamburg. In just few days I visited three times. It may be pricey but it is absolutely worth. Big portions absolutely delicious whatever I tried and the very friendly staff always offers a different taste to have a try. I can only recommend it. I hope you keep up the high quality

Reasonably priced ice-cream place in St.Pauli. It costs 1.6 euros for a big scoop of ice and a cone (kugel). My fiance and I tasted the "erdnuss" and "pflaumen sorbet" flavors. The erdnuss flavor tasted great, but I was not satisfied with the latter. I hope they replace the Pflaumen flavor with something tastier. This is just my opinion. The lady at the counter was nice and patient while we were deciding which flavor to buy. I would however recommend everyone to try out all the other flavors which I'm sure are delicious.

Luicella's is a favorite, and now they have Milkshakes! Pick your own ice cream combinations and they mix it up, chocolate syrup included! My real vanilla and Chai milkshake was perfect for the very hot day while walking around. Single person entry during Corona time. Wear a mask. Be nice, everyone is struggling right now, so if it takes an extra minute for your order to be ready be patient and grateful.

One of the best I've cream shops I've been to. They have very unique flavors. Here you see raspberry poppyseed and pistachio with chocolate pieces. I try to stop by this place once when I visit Hamburg to check out the flavors they currently have.

So we wanted to try it and to be honest it didn't deliver as expected. Taste was really bad. For the price and effort put into making one roll you expect more. Ice cream had blank taste and you could taste fat most of the time. Presentation was on point. Waiting time was absurd almost 45 minutes for ice cream. The workers were throwing everyone out 'cause ice creams couldn't freeze. All in all an unorganized mess. IMPORTANT NOTICE! There is no serving system. Me and my partner got ice creams with a difference of 15 minutes and 5 people got ice creams in between us. Workers are just making ice cream for whoever they took paper from not caring when was the time order. Putting a timestamp on papers would do the thing so they know who ordered first. Only cash payment aswell but there was an ATM near them so 5 stars for Sparkasse next to them! Kudos to Vegan options. Overrated experience.

The varieties are amazing. Cookies, pretzels, strawberries, and so much more. It took a while to make it, but we were not in a rush. Flavor was ok, the price was not so ok. 6,90 for 1 cookie, a few pretzels, a sauce and whatever that white stuff was, seems too expensive!

Some flavors of ice cream are very, very good. But whoever they have attending has a big attitude problem and should not be complaining so much about little things. We wanted to become regulars of the shop, but only on our second time there we had a terrible experience due to some Kleingeld. I work in delivery and we get a lot of kleingeld as trinkgeld from our clients. Wanted to treat my girlfriend to an ice cream and took around 15 cents in coins of 5 and 5 cents divided in 2 coins of 2, and 1 coin of a cent. In total 20 cents in small coins, the rest we paid with 1 or 2 euro coins. We were told in a very rude manner to not bring kleingeld here because "I have to then go to the bank to change it". We said ok, already thinking that our money was not good enough for this place. But even after saying ok this woman continued treating like second class because of the money we brought, making it seem like I didn't deserve to spend my money in that business... We just took our Icecream and left. Ice creams tasted poorly after that. Strawberry, chocolate and Vanilla are not anything special. In short, bad customer service ruins what could be a very, very good Ice cream shop. Edit after reply: I dont mind getting cents as change in any shop. And doesnt really matter how much real strawberry or chocolate you use, if it's bad ice cream, it's bad ice-cream nothing to do about that. :)

Probably the best ice cream in town. Expect to have a long line on a sunny day. But the ice cream is easily worth the wait. They have a small and ever changing selection of classic flavors as well as their own unique ones. I recommend grapefruit and yogurt with red currant. Their pieces are not really higher than other places, but their taste is outstanding!

This cute ice cream shop offers a nice variety of vegan flavors with vegan waffle cones as well as Xylit based ice cream and waffle cones. Their best flavor was based on the Snickers snack, containing caramel, chocolate and peanut butter. However, they named it with a culturally insensitive name that I could not pronounce, so I had to awkwardly point on it with my finger to order it.

The outlet had more vegan options than vegetarian. I was forced to choose from vanilla, chocolate and zitrone as the vegetarian options. The ice cream was just ok, nothing special. Recommended for vegans, not vegetarians

Delicious ice cream. Just looking at the vanilla I knew it would be amazing. You could see the black pieces of vanilla bean throughout it. It also has a nice seating area on a quiet corner. If you order ice cream to start, it is served in a chilled bowl. A+

Really nice Biergarten, good service, nice selection of beverages. Super atmosphere with fire pits and typical long tables. Not such a big selection on food, but typical German sausages (even a vegan option!). A good way to spend an afternoon away from the city rush. It fills up quickly so get here early :) PS only rating the Biergarten, not the restaurant!

Great place to eat with friends. They have a very large open area with tons of seats, and lots of covered seats for the rain. They even have individual seats if you want to sit and enjoy your beer on your own. It is surrounded by trees and is relatively quiet, nice place to enjoy an evening.

2024.12.01: been here for the Xmas market. One of my personal favs in Hamburg. Probably because of the really cozy, out of the city vibe that it has. One can warm around fire, drink Glühwein of course, eat, and feel like in nature thanks to the environment and the nice Hüttes.

It's a nice place to host parties and small games. Even though it's not far away from the highway, it does not have many parking places. But it's walkable distance from the Borgerg U bahn station.

Honestly slightly overrated. The ice cream tastes very sweet, is creamy but not silky smooth like proper gelato. The scoops may be ginormous, however they are so big, you are grateful when you have finally finished your ice cream, whereas I prefer to finish wanting more when it comes to dessert. Overall verdict: skip it.

Over the years, eis höfts quality dropped significantly. Many flavours are very uninspired and just sweet while others are as good as they used to be. It is a bit hit and miss and its easy to get dissapointed. Scoops are still big but the price has also increased a lot. Overall, still ok but the super enthusiastic reviews are not justified.

Great Cafe with, in my humble opinion, the best ice cream in Hamburg. Location is quite nice but could be a bit more cleaner and elegant. Especially the building in general from outside.

Ice cream is delicious but if you go on a busy day be prepared to be rushed. We had an older couple standing behind us and little ones were choosing ice cream whilst they sighed and tutted about them taking a while to choose. The servers some of them are impatient and because it’s small and busy don’t hear you straight away so they try and hurry you up. What would be a good idea is to have a menu outside whilst you wait so you can at least see what there is! Instead of having to choose from a large selection when there are so many people waiting to be served.

One of the best stores for ice cream cakes! I ordered 2 cakes in one month and both were so delicious they were wiped out by our guests. The service is fantastic and the gentleman who I have been in contact with was extremely polite and helpful. I drive 45 mins one way just to have this experience with them and savour thier cakes. It's my favourite queer bar in Hamburg, staffs always nice, I've never had a bad experience here. Delicious, home made ice cream 🍦 they offer unusual flavours such as strawberry tarragon or chocolate sorbet (which is to die for, by the way). Their sorbets are really refreshing in summer, and their milk based ice creams are very good too. Prepare to queue up at around lunch and early afternoon, but queues move fast so you'll get your ice cream very quickly :)
