One of the best gelatos I’ve had. Their dark chocolate gelato tasted amazing!! The texture was creamy and the flavour was superb. Not too sweet which was perfect for me! They also happily make you taste the ice cream before you buy (if you ask them to, of course) so that’s really great. 100% recommended.

One of my fav ice cream places in Berlin, they have the best authentic Italian gelato & the affogato in town:) + they also recently introduced a new Matcha flavour and, as a matcha obsessed girly, I LOVED IT🥰

One of the best ice cream in Germany They don’t have lots of flavors but each of the ones they served are with qualities! Strong tastes of ingredients instead of sugar or cream. Very tiny shop with few outdoor seats, super friendly staffs, but be prepared to queue. 2.5-2.9EUR one Kugel depending on your choice.

The texture is excellent — smooth and satisfying to the bite. As for the flavors, they are decent but rather ordinary: tasty enough, but lacking a distinctive twist or standout element.

Pretty good ice cream if you're lucky to not have a line in front of you. But make sure you get it in a cone and not a cup. For some reason, I got half as much in my cup as the lady before me, who ordered in a cone. Good for my dietary plans, I guess, but I still paid 2.50€, so...

Lack of enough seating possible outside. Found one long hair in my ice cream so the staff threw the scones away.. gave me back another one. Blau Minze flavor is not bad! Frappe also very coffee! There is no black buttermilk lemon flavor any more..

Ok hear me out. I would give this 6 out of 5 if it was possible. The best flavours of any gelato or ice-cream in Berlin. I had a lot of great ones such are Duo, Zagara or Canal and all of them are 5/5. V&M is just better! Great texture and strong lasting flavours! Simply perfect. The wild blueberry one is a must!

Amazing tasty ice cream. With quite some new ice cream varieties. Worth a try. Two different cons available, where one is black and has a taste of Oreo. Also if there was quite a long queue, the waiting time was relatively short through a good service. Also stuff was really friendly and gave a good impression.

This is a high-quality ice cream product but not among the top 10 in Berlin. The ice cream is thick and creamy. They have around ten different flavors, a mix of fruity and creamy. The shop offers limited outdoor seating and no indoor seating. I enjoyed their cheesecake and mango flavor. Their chocolate one is decent but not among the best in Berlin. The scoop size is also not among the most generous in town, and for almost 2 euros per scoop, the only expectations are high. As a result, this is a good ice cream if you are in the area. Otherwise, it is nothing out of the ordinary.

The popcorn & honeycomb and carrot cake flavours are to die for!!! Didn't have such good ice cream in a while. Absolutely recommended.

Ice cream is great but I don’t like that they touch the waffle with the same hands they use to touch money without using a napkin. It’s quite unhygienic

One of the best ice cream shops in Mitte serving gourmet artisanal flavours that you cannot find anywhere else! Priced right. Very limited seating available. Highly recommend this Hokey Pokey!

We wanted to try the place due to the reviews, and bought a couple of ice cream cups. We chose hazelnut (with caramelised hazelnuts and chocolate pieces) and Dubai style (pistachio with vanilla and chocolate). The hazelnut was okay, but we didn’t like the Dubai one (the pistachio didn’t taste good). We wouldn’t come back.

Expensive but some of the best ice cream i’ve had. I had the vegan chocolate with walnuts and the blueberry & lavender. Staff is nice and there are lots of vegan and lactose free options.

The caramelized walnut flavor was good, a bit intense on the walnut bitterness, but not too overpowering. The NY Cheesecake was not as flavorful but still nice and creamy! Beautiful street to stroll on while eating your ice cream.

Great selection of artisanal ice cream, I can highly recommend the vegan Tonka with sesame crunch (very unique) and the delicate New York Cheesecake for their flavour and creamy texture. Friendly staff and a nice location to sit outside and eat.

Yummy ice creams! They're a bit more expensive than in other places (1.80€ any non-basic flavor scoop) in the city, since they're made with organic ingredients, but they're anyway worth it.

The matcha ice cream is incredibly delicious. I’m not surprised by the price—it’s pretty normal for Berlin—but I do wonder how ice cream in general has gotten so expensive so quickly.

I popped in by chance as the weather was quite hot and I had an ice cream craving. The selection of flavours is quite interesting and I went for an Italian classic, pistachio, and a gorgeous caramelized walnut. The ice cream is perfect: not too sweet, creamy but not heavy and really well balanced. Cons: the queue ( but you know, good things take time).

I wanted to visit Jones ice cream since almost 2 years And finally got the chance to try it a couple of weeks ago. And it was totally worth it. Ice cream is delicious, there are different flavours than the usual. I tried carrot cake and vanilla caramel brownie and both were so so good. Also they are popular for making in house waffle cone. So would highly recommend to try the cone, handmade cone costs around 1.1 euros extra.

Expensive but tasty! I loved my chocolate brownie but all flavours I tried were sublime and yummy! The cones were crispy and the staff kind. Free tap water as well!

We went here to have some ice cream, and got carrot cake and fudge chocolate caramel peanuts. Both of them were amazing, specially the latter. They have a lot of interesting flavours, the worst part is that they don’t have indoor seating.

Don't let the simple look fool you, this cookie had me shaking my head in shock at the deliciousness! I had the macademua vanilla white choc cookie and my brain couldn't understand the awesomeness of the explosion of flavors in my mouth! The ice cream was also delicious! I got the burnt cacao flavor and it was so good!

Very nice ice cream Shop, very original Alternative flavours

I’ve been coming here regularly for over a year now. It’s a really good ice cream place with lots of flavors. They also sell tubs to take away and enjoy home 😋 The only disadvantage is that sometimes it gets very busy, the line can be long and then the service tends to be not as good as on calmer days.

The ice cream shop has a vintage look which is outstanding. The GuZiMi and Erdbeer Basilikum is a must try. Also the Walnuss flavour is good too.

Cool sitting area outside. Ice cream is ok, wouldn‘t recommend the Straciatella, it tastes a bit boring no chocolate pieces.

Walked a ways to get here and sample spaghetti-eis, a German staple. Unfortunately the ice cream they use is a little too soft so the noodle effect disappeared practically as it hit the bowl. It was tasty all the same

I have mixed feelings about my time here, although it still leans on a positive side. (& recommended) The shop opens at 1200 and when i went there at 12:20, there were already people outside (full)! & unfortunately the guy was alone, completely running back to front to fulfill everyone's order and so- in time. He was apologetic when anyone’s order was late or if he had forgotten them... Very much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏 Shaved ice was really good! I had one of this month's specials (black night). The smokiness in it yet the overall texture and taste was just perfect. No wonder their shaved ice-cream is always on everyone's wishlist ✨ this one was delightful till the end. The ONLY downside is the "japanese fisherman's bowl" which was clearly missing something (atleast when u see the description in their menu + other's photo and reviews -vs- mine). It felt painstakingly different 💔 thus (-1) star.

Their shaved ice is delicious! The black sesame flavour was intense and earthy, the consistency cloudy and smooth. Slightly sweetened, it’s the perfect refreshment to share. I was missing a bit more mango tho.

The owner (Tenshu) is exceptionally polite and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is outstanding, with the Kakigori (Japanese shaved ice) being, in my opinion, the best I’ve ever had. They also offer seasonal specials from time to time, each thoughtfully crafted to reflect the unique flavors and essence of Japan’s changing seasons and cultural richness. Overall, this place is a true gem — a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Japanese flavors and hospitality.

Tenzan lab was on my list for awhile. Inside the cafe is very relaxing and quiet. The waiters are also kind. However I find it a bit disappointing that the coffee types had always syrup in them, that’s why I went for tea. We had the Japanese pancake with cream cheese and sweet red beans which was quite tasty and also mochi. Overall it was ok, I’m not sure I would come again but I could bring a friend for something different.

2,30-2,80€ for a small sorbet scoop, not so many tastes on offer, a few quite strange ones (Spargel ice, green tee ice: come on!), long queue and only one obviously inexperienced staff, only a limited amount of places to sit outside, political messages taped on the showcase,.., sorry not really my thing! 😄

Eisbox is always one of my Favoriten ice cream places in Berlin. Not so many choices 10 or so?) but I only eat 2 flavours and their quality is great and always some twist in flavours. 2 Euro can be expensive for local ice cream places but to me still it is a great event to go and taste different, not too sweet Eis and watch exciting children. We like their jams (only seasonal) as well. Walking from Tiergarten or Turnstraße through green is also a joy for me. (They might be closed during winter time. So make sure before your visit in autumn/winter time.)

Very overrated place. Had an affogato with vanilla ice cream. The ice cram didn’t taste well at all (my granddad used to have an ice cream parlour. I know how good I’ve cream tastes 😜). The owner was quite rude to her staff while I was there and the prices are quite hefty for what you get.

I don't think that high price justifies the quality of this ice cream. This ice cream is ok , however it's very far from an original italian one . A very good ice cream does not need a huge price but a right price and love. There are several good quality Italian ice cream shops around the corner. I am sorry but i do not recommend this shop if you like a good ice cream and right price.

I came here due to a recommendation because I really like interesting flavours but I was disappointed as the coriander -lime ice-cream did not taste coriander at all, only lime. I do not doubt these are really homemade ice creams and they seems decent but nothing extra.

Really good quality ice cream! They had amazing flavours, but this banana split with dulce de leche swirled through got me. Not the best atmosphere inside, and very hot. But it’s nice to sit outside and people watch. Eager to try out some of the other flavours. €2.90 for a single (generous) scoop is not too bad.

The basic ice cream flavour choice wasn’t that big, but you have more of unusual flavours available like Backed Sweet Potato or Mate, which both were super tasty:) I just wish they had my fav Stracciatella in store & for 2.90€ you would get a bigger ice scoop (on the pic there are 2 scoops in each of the cups which is actually how a normal 1 scoop should look like??)

Seriously the best ice cream I’ve tried. The texture is so smooth and thick but not too thick. The flavors are so amazingly balanced and you can really taste the flavor you’ve picked. Their ice creams don’t leave you feeling heavy and the level of sweetness is just right. Sure they are a tiny bit pricier but you can seriously taste they invest in their ingredients. Wish I lived in Berlin just for this ice cream shop.

I tried the pistachio gelato and enjoyed the flavour and sweetness level. Not to sweet so you could test the pistachio properly which is great. Also a good size scoop. If I’m going to nitpick, it was a bit grainy with tiny flecks that seemed like the skin of the nut rather than crunchy pieces of the nut. It was also a bit too melted/soft for my liking, maybe as it was nearly at the bottom of the container. Pretty friendly service and a nice shop

Delicious vegan ice cream rolls. I got three rolls after having a large dinner & the serving was so large I had trouble finishing it - great value for the money. Loved the made to order/checklist style method of placing orders, the flavors & toppings I got couldn’t have been better. Yum!

Best ice-cream place in the neighbourhood, by far. Not only the ice-cream is extravagant and delicious, but the service is top! Friendly staff is welcoming, greeting, and explaining you all. You see them smile all the time and it's easy to have a pleasant talk. The way the ice-cream is prepared is outstanding and worth seeing/experiencing. You have a variety of flavours and toppings/extras to add. You will get a sheet of paper where you can choose your favorite flavor & extras from. Was a blast and we totally recommend it. Just see how empty out cups got, lol 😊

Super delicious fresh, hand-made ice cream!! A great variety of flavors to choose from (fresh fruit, Kinder chocolate, reese’s...), yummy sauces and a lot of crazy toppings. Small cup 3,60 EUR which you easily can share. Plus: very friendly and attentive service! Gotta love it! Will be back!

This is the most delicious, fresh-made ice cream I've ever tasted! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in, explaining how the ordering process works. There are so many toppings and ice cream flavors to choose from; and it was fun to observe the process :)

A small kiosk of Gimme Gelato near the BRLO is a no cash outlet. There are quite a good number of options and the taste is wonderful. The staff is very helpful.

Half the flavors are vegan and the other dairy. Didn't know the spoon was edible until I read a review here - it does break easy. Card payment only. Tips: - Tell the server a joke. Mine was not rude but it's probably not an easy job. - Try vanilla oat with cherry. Thank me later.

Stale icecream, didn't really taste the flavor of pistachio. The chocolate icecream was kinda icey - you could taste the small chunks of ice

After queueing for 20 minutes in the 30 degree sun, we noticed they barely served 3 people in that time. So I started watching them, the women working had for some reason walk back and forth about 3 time in slow motion just to finish one scone. Really? Can't put everything you need close to you? Who is the manager in this place? Why don't you train your staff? Do you know how to run any business? Maybe go to the Croatian or Greek seaside and see how to efficiently manage an ice cream truck. To top that off, the men working just stood there and did nothing. Waiting patiently for his colleague to finish her "5 minute for one scone" order. I guess he is in charge for payments. Seeing we live in Berlin, it's imposible that the staff can do more than one thing in parallel. Let's just let people leave the queue and take their business to Brlo where there have actual trained and efficient personel. Why should he care, he's just an employee. Dear Berlin hospitability business owners, be better!

One of the best ice creams in Berlin. Half of the flavours are vegan and fruity, the others creamy with milk. A little expensive but it‘s absolutely worth it.

Hands down, one of the absolute best vegan ice-cream places in Berlin. They have so many classic but also special flavors and my personal highlight is the spaghetti ice-cream bowl that reminded me of my childhood. It tasted exactly the same - possibly even better. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back to try more flavors!

I returned to this place for a second visit to verify my experience. The ice cream still tasted somewhat icy, and I personally found the portion small for the price. I had previously written a review, which was later removed due to a defamation complaint by the business. I find it telling when businesses respond to honest criticism not by improving, but by having reviews removed through legal complaints. This review reflects my personal impression and experience as a paying customer.

Schnallt euch warm an, it's story time: My ice cream and coffee loving girlfriend and I went to tribeca for the first time, yesterday. The queue was short, which was a pleasant surprise, since ice cream places are usually effing busy, this time of year. And especially when it's hot af. Sweating, we went inside and I was happy because there was a perfect looking, beautiful coffee machine behind the counter. My mouth watering in excited anticipation for ice cream and coffee, I placed my order with the friendly server. When I was told, I couldn't have a cappuccino, cold shivers went down my back, which was not as pleasant as you would imagine, since it was such a hot day, but the disappointment stung like a million wasps. Also, I found it a little odd they wouldn't make me a cappuccino, since everything they needed to have made me one was standing right next to the coffee machine, i.e. oat milk, and a metal jug to heat it and foam it up in. I mean, I get that on the menu at tribeca there are only iced coffee's, but if I learned anything in my time working in bars and restaurants, it's never to just say 'no' and to always try and accommodate my customers (especially if everything you need to do it with is right there), because usually it makes them feel special and, well, accommodated and therefore makes them want to come back. But maybe the owners of tribeca don't want people to come back to their place of business and therefore don't tell such things to their servers. I don't know them personally, so I can only guess. I didn't want to make a scene, so I asked if I could just get a coffee that is not iced, since I was under the impression, that the coffee coming from the coffee machine would be hot. Our server said yes and I was happy again! They then delivered their deadly three-punch combo to my gut: First, they gave us our ice cream, which was delicious, but for 2,80€ a scoop frankly just a brazen joke concerning it's size, or its lack thereof, to be more precise. Then I got my coffee, WHICH WAS COLD?! and to add insult to injury, they made a mistake with our bill (which is not a problem, mistakes happen), but were then UNABLE TO GIVE US A REFUND, SINCE THEY ONLY ACCEPT CARD AND FOR SOME REASON CAN'T CORRECT SUCH MISTAKES. I mean they offered us more ice cream, but I usually order the exact amount of ice cream I want to eat, so why would I want more ice cream? Another offer was to give us a voucher card with four stamps, which would have meant for us to make another 6 puchases to then get a little bit for free, which at the time also didn't seem that appealing. I then opted for taking back 3€ in cash, that our server produced from the back of the store in 50ct, 10ct and 5ct pieces (probably taken from the tip-jar?), which was still a bit cheeky, since the mistake made amounted to 3,80€, but our server (who, by the way, was totally left alone by her two co-workers, that seemed more experienced than her and were nervously watching the whole situation, but never offered any help) was already decompensating from all the stress, so I just said ok. In the end, I did get a warm coffee and, as I've already said, the ice cream, while small in portion, was delicious. BUT, I'll never come back here, because there are a trillion ice cream placed in Berlin, where the owners properly train their employees to deal with situations that normally occur on a daily basis in a place of business, especially in gastronomy, and also are not as stingy with the size of their offered product. tl:dr On a more serious note: you took money from us, which happened by mistake and will happen again to other customers, but that you then offer no acceptable way to repay your customers is unacceptable. For the record - having your minimum wage employees paying back customers from their own pocket or offering ice cream or offering a half stamped voucher card that makes us pay you even more money to then eventually get something for free is also not acceptable. Please do better.

I tried the Tribeca Ice Cream and it tastes soooo good! At first, I was bit hesitant to visit the place reading the reviews in Google, but great that my husband pushed me to give it a try for once. I can’t thank him enough. I tried the salted brownie flavour and it tasted heaven! Thank you Tribeca for making such an amazing icecream. The staff were way too lovely and the surrounding was peaceful and nice. A must visit!

It’s very good and great value. The regular size is HUGE, I took the Kinder kugel instead. They let you try the flavors before committing so that was very nice. Oma’s Apfel Kuchen was really tasty. Not too sweet thankfully. Perfect on a warm day.

There are so many different kinds of ice-cream (including some for the vegan-crowd) that it is a real pain deciding which one to order. It's not exactly cheap but once in a while it's worth it. There are a handful of sitting places right outside the shop of which we took advantage to eat our ice in peace and enjoy it really.

Perfekt ice cream of Eisderix brand, my favorite is pistaco (like turkish baklava ;) ) and salted caramel. Creamy structure and not too sweet. Belemy pastais is also great, everyday fresh. The stuff is always very nice, jung people with friendly attitude:) I highly recommend this place and this ice cream shop.

This was one of our favorite places few years ago. Unfortunately the quality and flavor are not there anymore. We tried stracciatella, quark-apricot, caramel and pear (didn't try the chocolate flavors). Only a handful of flavors remained good, others taste diluted. The scoop seems cheap (2,30) and that attracts a lot of people. But the size of the scoop is so small, that it isn't worth more anyways. So basically it's the same as going to another mediocre ice cream place, paying little more and getting little bigger scoop... not worth special praise in my opinion

I would consider myself an ice cream connoisseur - have tasted flavors from near & far - and I can safely say this is one of the best ice cream shops I have yet to experience on my taste buds. Pistachio 10/10 bravo

Yummy, well-crafted creations. Not a "31 flavors" place with a bunch of premade ice cream. They had five different "recipes" (which change regularly), and made the ice cream on the spot with liquid nitrogen and additions to match the "recipe". I don't go for a lot of ice cream, but loved this because it wasn't too sweet. I had the blueberry pie, which was awesome, and Loren had the Negroni sorbet - which disappeared fast enough that I didn't get a taste. Nice staff, couple outdoor tables but no indoor seating.

Good ice-cream. Mango maracuja wasn’t that sweet which is great as it had natural flavor and was creamy. Opt for it only if you like Maracuja flavor. The chocolate was creamy with brownie and it was amazing to have freshly prepared Ice cream using N2 which had a good flavor. There is some waiting time as they prepare it freshly. Overall I’d recommend you can give it a try, the staff was friendly and service was good.

Duo has been on my wishlist for a year and what better way of eating ice cream than on the longest day of the year? As a pistachio-lover I was very excited to try their pistachio flavors, and of course, the glaze! Some italian acquaintances said it was good, so I had high expectations. Although there was a small line, we didn’t stay longer than 15 minutes (on a Saturday), but the line did get kinda long after we got there (no worries, they work super fast). The taste of the ice cream was good, a bit too sweet for my taste. I must warn you: I regret getting size medium (super big, kinda American standard medium; deff not like the ones I’ve tried around Berlin). It was SUPER messy to eat it, and chaotic/sticky so I recommend getting the small one. I will definitely return, but to their Kudamm one whenever I have a chance and perhaps getting other less sweet flavors if I get the glaze again.

I was so exited to eat at the new Katchi in Mitte and was not disappointed. I have to say it’s the best vegan ice cream in Berlin I have eaten, and I love that there is a variety of creative vegan options (Pecan Cookie Crunch was my favorite!) instead of only a couple sorbets like it is at other places. I do wish there was a vegan version of their milk chocolate ice cream though 🤔. The staff is very kind, the customer service is great (which is hard to find in this country). I felt very welcomed there as a queer person and it’s lovely to see people from the community scooping ice cream as well.

Cute neighbourhood ice cream shop that’s very popular especially with the young ones. It’s located by a really nice playground too. It has fun flavours for kids and also some for adults - my favourite is the chocolate chilli flavour that really packs a punch. They keep it in the back as it’s got a real kick, but is delicious and would be even better with a pinch or sprinkle of salt! They also do bubble waffles and coffee and are just overall a friendly place the locals love. They don’t open in the winter, but in the summer, they sometimes extend their hours a little, so you can still pick up a scoop after closing time if you’re lucky

My experience was really good but I only tried one flavor. There were toppings you could add such as marshmallows (which I added,was really good), sprinkles etc.The cones were really fresh and what these cones had was a chocolate layer. If you are in the vicinity and or going to S Grunewald then there is a great ice cream shop there(no toppings but ice cream was still fresh),i recommend going there,mostly because it's cheaper if you are in a big group.This was a great shop, enjoy!

Great for kids, not for adults. It is next to a big playground, and they seem to target kids with some of their flavours: colorful, sweet and intense. It is a bit expensive, because they use high-quality ingredients, yet the lemon flavor was the most artificial taste you could imagine—not like the fruit, but like a strongly lemon-flavored sweet.

Wonderful place for a quick summer getaway! There was a queue outside but the staff managed it quite fast. Inside it’s pretty small and you only order and take it away. The flavours were plenty and looked delicious. I took dark chocolate and cassis in a cone and it was yumm! Will definitely visit again next time when I’m in Berlin.

Had a scoop of hazelnut ice cream affogato and it was extremely delicious, perfect blend of taste, both coffee and ice cream were really good. My friend had a scoop of dark chocolate that I didn't find as good, it tasted a bit artificial but anyway great consistency and in general cute shop, it deserves the high ratings it has.

Had high hopes, there were only 2 non-sorbet vegan ice cream flavors so that was a disappointment, as I had been craving a creamy and inventive non-dairy flavor. The staff seemed bothered by us trying to decide and were not overly friendly. Although this is very reasonably priced (cheap!) this was the smallest serving size of ice cream I've ever been given! I know I'm comparing to gluttonous American standards, but it was almost laughable, the single tiny scoop of ice cream was lost in the cone and gone too soon.

The vegan bounty icecream is AMAZING, we ordered 2 in 2 hours. There was a choice of about 5 vegan options, both sorbet and 'standard'. Staff were friendly and lent us a bottle opener. Can't recommend more! So glad we stumbled upon this place.

I personally love creamy ice cream, here unfortunately they're more "icy". You can find special flavors and they're actually not that bad, but if you're looking for a creamy one that's not the place for you. Also I didn't really like the pistachio.

Ethical ice cream with a smile! I can highly recommend the belgian chocolate - it's my and my toddler's favourite by far! I also enjoyed the peanut crunch. I was so enthralled by Balaram's concept, flavours, and friendly service that I had four scoops and my daughter had two. You can enjoy your ice cream on the couch or outside on various seats, though unfortunately in the shade. Alternatively you can take it to the park to enjoy it in the sun. The ice cream is made from soya and there are two scoop sizes (€1 for a child's sized scoop and €1,50 for a big scoop). I don't mind paying extra for ice cream that has a good conscience. We will definitely be back!

Went because my friend and I are vegan and we wanted some ice cream to cool off. Came due to the rave reviews, but had the worst ice cream that I’ve had in a long time. Tried the vienna almond and that had absolutely no flavour. The mango maracuja tasted like watery sugar with a bit of a tang. My friend got a milkshake with one berry ice cream (that I can’t recall) and the shake only tasted like milk. Super disappointing especially for that price.

I've never experienced a restaurant like this before. There was not one thing wrong with the whole visit. Our whole group loved every minute of it. Such an excellent idea. It's like turning up to a wedding where all other tables are strangers. The service was great and the food was amazing. The entertainment was really class too. A bit expensive but it's worth it. Totally recommended for groups.

The food was a reasonable quality, although I think the portion sizes are a little large, as a couple we had the same portions as a table of four. The wine and beer flow freely 😁. The acoustics are not great, very often you can't hear the entertainment. The waiting staff are interactive and good fun.

Just the best ice in Berlin in terms of quality/price. The waffle is recent made and ypu have a huge variety of flavours. For me it doesn’t disappoint, also I love the area, sometimes can get full and you will have to queue a lot but I think is worth it.

They have the best ice cream with many flavours. The shop in a beautiful part of Berlin which is worth a visit. The staff is super friendly.

The rule is if you want to sit at the garden, order at the garden. We did the same 30 min waiting for a scooped ice cream on a cone. 30 minutes!!!. And mean while people get ice-cream and sit their table. Finally we canceled our order and stand in the queue. It doesn't matter the taste of the ice cream, waiting time will kill you for sure.

The ice cream is quality and tastes great: creamy and flavorful. Varieties change daily based on the season and what local/regional ingredients are on hand. The premises are modern and clean. The service is fast, but you can still expect to wait in line at busy times if day. You can choose table service, but if you get it to go then you can still sit down in the lounge chairs they've set up outside. Very family-friendly place (duh). Great ice cream parlor overall!

I had no bad experience but the product didn't hit me as well. Of course I didn't taste all sorts of ice-cream. The family and I are frequent visitors of Eiskimo. Along with the "staple" flavors (i.e; vanilla, chocolate, etc.) they also offer specialty flavors that are frequently switched up. The staff is always friendly and eager to answer any questions you might have and seem to be comfortable with speaking English if necessary. The sitting area outdoors offers plenty of elbow room and sits on a lively and well visited corner if you like to "people watch". 😊👍

The server was super nice. I had the mango and the strawberry and mint, both were nice but not knockout. The chocolate and Beetroot was definitely an interesting one. Weirdly I think the servings are too big - they actually could do with a smaller option for a little lower price. I was sitting there trying to finish the ice cream for ages and it wasn’t joyous towards the end. Good waffle cone.

Small & cute place to have ice-cream at. Staff was friendly and the interior design is lovely. In front of the store there are few tables and banches to sit on. The taste is alright. Had already better ice-creams. Unfortunately, the price is far too high for what you get taste- & size-wise. The scoops are really too small. And yes, general production cost increase, but others also manage to keep the prices fair. Cool note at the window, but it doesn't justify the high price.

If you’re around Hackescher Markt, make sure to stop by Canal’s ice cream while strolling through the area. They offer a wide variety of flavors, and I chose Maracuja Mascarpone and Sicilian Lemon Sorbet, both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and melted perfectly in my mouth. A real treat and highly recommended for anyone visiting the neighborhood.

While strolling Hackesche Hofe, we spotted this by accident and it had most amazing eclairs we had ever looked at or tasted- we tried pumpkin and apricot one & black sesame chocolate. We even tried its chunky peanut ice-cream which was absolutely delicious If you are in Berlin, a must must try

One of the best ice cream shops in Berlin. Selling truly unique and artisanal flavours that you cannot find anywhere else. We had their Mandarine Ginger Basil, and Banana Dolce de Leche, and both were really delicious. Located in a lovely building. Lots of seating available around the store. Good vibes and yummy flavours.

I had this place saved on my list for quite some time and I finally tried it! I tried the seasonal Pumpkin Spice one and the Pecan Vanilla. I really enjoyed the Pumpkin Spice one, crunchy, surprising, not overly sweet. The Pecan Vanilla one was nice too, a solid eclair, but not a surprising flavor. NB: Please note they don’t have eclairs daily! They only have them from Wed to Sun (currently). Make sure to check for updates before going.

Listen, I've wanted to try Canal's eclairs for years. Finally got there when they had some (they sell out often) and got 3 flavours to try, listed in order of how they tasted: White chocolate passionfruit Pumpkin spice (seasonal) Raspberry pistachio The white chocolate passionfruit was incredibly flavourful and moist - would definitely get it again. But the others were only okay. I wouldn't go out of my way for them. Kind of dry and a bit bland.

I'm a Spaghettieis enthusiast and this here was quite good and reasonable! I like the size, all the rich toppings, but the vanilla ice cream was normal (not bad, but not outstanding).

Dreadful. Not a huge variety of flavours, and cash only in 2023, these are minor issues. But the fact that the scoop is not cleaned between different flavours is absolutely disgusting! The ice cream tasted off, made worse by the fact that there were bits of other flavours in it!

Shared the kaffee ice cream with my boyfriend and we both agreed that was the nicest coffee icecream we've ever had. The gentleman was so lovely offering this for free as we made a mistake not having cash with us. Definitely a must try 💛

Don't go here!! This place has really TERRIBLE service. After waiting for a long time in line because there was only one person serving at the counter the guy served me an ice cream with two very small scoops and then went on to serve two other customers before returning my change. There's a small area in front of the counter so I had to wait and have people shuffle around me until he gave me my change. When I asked for my change he just grinned, didn't look at me and then went on to serve the next customer. The ice cream and service is much better at eismanufaktur close to Leopoldplatz if you're looking for good ice cream and good service. Don't waste your time here! In reply to your response below I would like to add: all your son (the guy serving behind the counter) had to do was say something like, “I’m so sorry your change is on it’s way.” But instead he grinned and continued to serve the next two customers without saying anything. When I asked for my change he just ignored me. There is no excuse for this kind of behaviour. As I wrote before, this is terrible service. I’m not the only one here who has had this experience with your son. Read the reviews. Perhaps a bit of customer service training wouldn’t go astray....

I like the idea of this place because it’s very near to my flat BUT the ice cream just isn’t very delicious and the scoops are very small. I want to like it but sadly I don’t think is very creamy ice cream.

WOW!!!! I found this place thanks to a book about the best spots in Berlin, and the recommendation did not disappoint. For a moment, it honestly felt like I had been transported to Italy.. 😍🇮🇹 but only for a short time, because the waitresses were so fast and attentive that everything arrived almost instantly. The soft ice was even ready in about a minute!! the pizza was served just as I wanted it, and the service overall couldn’t have been smoother. I had the pizza (number 2 on the menu, 12 €) topped with mozzarella, parmesan, olive oil, and fresh basil — and I can highly recommend it. If you’re a tomato sauce lover, this is definitely the place to go. I was genuinely surprised at how pure and full of flavor the tomato sauce was, it tasted like the kind you’d get in Italy, fresh and simple but unforgettable. And the cheese is fantastic! 🧀 And such a thin crust!!😍 And then there was the soft ice (7,5 €) — topped with olive oil, sea salt, and crumbles. It was soooo good!!!! the perfect balance of creamy, salty, and sweet! 😋😋 I strongly recommend it! The interior is wonderful, the restrooms were nice, and there was even classical Italian music in the background and toilet paper that had a little heart design, which honestly sums up how I feel about this place 💖 Please go! But if you don’t, that just means more heavenly food for the rest of us‼️I will be back!🤩🤩🤩🤩

Great place, friendly staff, delicious food, and a very well-thought-out menu with detailed descriptions of the ingredients and their origins! We've tried a pizza with anchovies and two ice creams (with olive oil and sea salt and with strawberries and basil oil), and everything was bloody delicious! Highly recommend this place.

So for me this is the best pizza in Berlin. And I have tested almost all. The tomato sauce is breathtaking, the fresh ingredients are amazing. This gets a 9,27 /10 which is the best I have ever given. I’ve been coming here for a while now and the food is just consistently amazing. My go to pizza spot in Berlin! Can not stop recommending it!

This place puts other pizza places to shame. Soo good that Im thinking about their pizzas as Im typing this review. The wait for a table is long though, what can I say, everyone loves it. sometimes they give you some popcorn while you wait for your table. Their soft serve is also equally delicious.

Pizza never disappoints whenever I come here. Thin crispy crust and creative toppings that’s a delight to try. They have weekday pizza specials for €13. The toppings are simpler so depends if you want more or not. Kürbis Pizza €17: 7.5/10 Pumpkin pairs well with the guanciale and buffalo cheese. The texture was one note topping wise, but the crust made up for it. Salat €12: 6/10 Tasty dressing, but it was just romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with over roasted chickpeas. They were hard like corn nuts and hard to scoop since they were so small and the lettuce was so large and slippery. I really needed the fibre though so I still enjoyed it. I wanted to try their dessert but I was too full. Had the olive oil soft serve last time and that was divine. Even though it wasn’t busy and only three other tables were occupied, service was slow. It was hard to get the server’s attention and took forever to get the bill. Eventually we went to the front to pay. Didn’t have this experience last time, but it was during dinner service. Worth going to because the pizza is factually delicious. Will save room for dessert next time.

The pizza here is good – though to be honest, I’ve had better elsewhere. What really stands out, though, is the seasonal menu and carefully curated ingredients. You can tell everything is made with love and attention to detail. But if I’m being completely honest… I mostly come here for the buffalo soft serve. It’s absolutely amazing – creamy, and just addictive!

I think it can be nice if you’re Lucky enough to get a Pizza that’s not burned. However given the slightly higher than normal prices I think it’s overrated. The vinho verde was underwhelming at 7.5€ a glass (approx 5-6€ purchase price per bottle)

Such a nice ice cream place! You can really feel the quality of the ingredients and the freshness of them. I miss their peach flavor, it's my favourite and they were the only ones in Berlin that had it, but all the others are great anyway!

Probably the best strawberry sorbet I’ve ever had (and I’m not even a fruit-gelato person)! The ricotta with candied lime is also remarkable! Pistachio sorbet is unbelievably tasty and the Belgium chocolate is a must-try for any chocolate-lovers. I loved it!

Delicious and absolutely fair price. We had two flavored in a small size, Erdnuss mit Himbeercompot (peanut with raspberry compote) and tiramisu. Super tasty and very creamy. Served by a friend man. Would recommend and would definitely come back 🤗

The best gelato I have in Kreuzberg. Was planning to go to another one on Staklitzerdtr. But the queue was crazy. We had Strawberry, Maracuja, Crème Freîche + earl grey on the house. Every flavor is solid gelato, just the right sweetness and you taste the original fruit flavor. Highly recommend!!!

This place is incredible. Great coffee and of course the original Ben & Jerry's ice cream.It is located in a very nice neighbourhood, you can breathe peace in the environment, it has a terrace but I recommend you to go inside to observe every little detail of the decoration. It also has a coworking space. The best thing (after the ice cream :P) is the staff: attentive, friendly... you always want to come back.

Yummy ice cream, cool location, friendly staff but WHY oh why is the cookie hot in the ice cream sandwich. Hot cookie + cold ice cream = melted all over my hand before I could eat it. A fundamental misunderstanding of the concept of the ice cream cookie sandwich. Nevertheless delicious.

First time I went here there was a grumpy dude who’s service was unpleasant but today I went again and the two girls were amazing. The atmosphere was really nice and the ice cream they recommended was perfect! I can definitely recommend Cherry Garcia and chocolate brownie!

Some classic Ben & Jerry’s flavours - I wish some of the more exciting American flavours were there too, though to be honest if the chocolate fudge brownie is there, I’m happy enough. I went at a very quiet time in the day with my baby daughter, so it was super empty - I had to briefly leave her outside (totally in view though) as I couldn’t get the pram up the steep steps (maybe add a little ramp, also for wheelchair users? This is a Berlin-wide issue) The lady serving was polite but seemed pretty bored. Not what I’d expect for a more ‘wacky’ American brand. Ice cream was of course lovely and nice big scoops too. I’m glad it’s joined the neighborhood. :)

Great ice cream, reasonably priced. They usually have 12+ flavors and don't sleep on the high quality Italian treats (Cannoli etc.). They have a great vegan options and great flavors all along. You wont find totally overloaded ice cream here more pure clean quality flavors. If you like a great scoop of vanilla, chocolate or even plum this is your place. My fave in this neighborhood. The place profited greatly from the new ownership and is a bit of a hidden gem as it is tugged away on pretty slow street.

Recently changed owners but continues to serve consistently high quality ice creams. Usually 12+ flavors on offer from standard favorites to unusual ideas. They also have at least 2 or 3 dairy free flavors.

Great ice cream, but it's not worth having to put up with the the owner's scheiß attitude. The young man helping him in the shop is absolutely lovely with the customers (he has to compensate for his boss's nastiness). Dear misanthropic ice-cream maker: please hire another nice ice-cream server and stay in the back, far away from the customers you have so much contempt for.

Green Scoop Café – A Hidden Gem in Boxhanger Platz Today I discovered Green Scoop, a charming little café located in Boxhanger Platz, near the A&O Hostel in Friedrichshain. I tried the pistachio flavor with caramel and chocolate topping, and it was absolutely delightful. The ice cream was incredibly creamy, with a rich texture that melted in the mouth with every bite. What impressed me even more was the price—a generous scoop for just €2.50. Plus, they accept card payments, which is very convenient if you're not carrying cash. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. I’m definitely planning to return soon to try more of their delicious and creamy flavors!
