I just spent 3hrs in there and it was GREAT! I could have spent even longer, so if you want to see & do everything the NASCAR Hall of Fame has to offer, plan for the whole day. If you’re already a fan, you’ll learn stuff you didn’t know & for those new to NASCAR, you’ll come out of there knowledgeable in our sport. How it first began, along with Junior Johnson’s moonshine days, interactive experiences, to getting to feel the pavement from numerous different tracks. Depending on what ticket you buy, you get a lanyard with your own hard card, unlimited times in the simulator, and more! Don’t worry about lunch, The Pit Stop Cafe has an awesome BBQ sandwich I’d recommend. Upon leaving, you’ll go through The Gear Shop, where you’ll find a variety of options for a fantastic souvenir. An amazing set-up from floor to floor, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and sorry no drinks allowed inside. Enjoy!

Visited North Carolina for the first time from California for Hendrick training and decided to stop by the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Definitely worth it. The museum has 4 levels packed with history, information, and legendary cars. The layout makes it easy to explore at your own pace and really soak in the sport’s heritage. The simulator experience was the highlight — super fun and surprisingly realistic. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Charlotte. A great mix of history and hands-on fun. 🏁🚗💨

We had a wonderful time at our company sponsored event! The simulator was very cool and the place was nice with plenty of things to see. John was awesome, checking in and making conversation with us regularly. He was so fun to talk to and so genuine! Highly recommend! Only struggle we had was finding the entrance since we originally entered Buffalo Wild Wings but that’s a super small blip. Great experience overall.

We traveled all the way from Hungary, and visiting the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte was absolutely worth it! The exhibits, the atmosphere, and the passion for racing are beyond amazing. You can truly feel the heart and history of NASCAR in every detail. A dream come true for any fan unforgettable experience!

An awesome museum with the actual cars and other memorabilia. Handling a stationery simulator was an experience. Great fun. Nicely laid out. They have a combo with lunch and that was great too. Parking was next door. Reasonable rates. Go see it!

Great exhibits, lots to keep everyone entertained. Videos, memorabilia, and hands on exhibits. We happened to be there on a race day and got to join the fun of the watch party with enthusiasts. Great fun.

We had a blast! I upgraded to the combo package with the souvenir lanyard and photo, as well as the driving simulator. There is a ton of history here and is well worth the experience for those who are fans and who aren’t fans alike! There is a replica car hauler that you can walk through as well as a place to try your hand at what the pit crews do! A must see in Charlotte! They also have a parking garage there on site at the HOF connected to the convention center.

Very pleasant walking through this airport, at first I thought it was small🤔, but realized I was at the end (A39) and not the beginning🙂. Prepare to have yourself a walk, I had plenty of time for my flight departure. It got veryyyy busy (this was a Sunday), so give yourself lots of time from security to walking to your gate. They do have walking escalators which is super helpful if you have issues walking. Variety of eateries, places to sit and the coolest thing to me was the beautiful white rocking chairs paired with a live jazz pianist.😊🥰

Large Airport but Needs Better Signage and Facilities- Arrived at Charlotte International Airport (CLT) on a business trip. The airport is very large and spacious, but it was extremely crowded even during a non-holiday period. I did appreciate the signature rocking chairs placed throughout the terminal — a nice touch that provides plenty of seating and a bit of Southern charm. However, the food prices were way over the top for what’s offered, and the directions to rental car check-in and pick-up areas were confusing. The signage definitely needs updating to make navigation easier for travelers unfamiliar with the airport. They also need more restrooms, the lines were long, especially right after passengers deplaned. Overall, CLT is a modern and busy hub, but it could greatly improve the traveler experience with clearer signage, better facilities, and more reasonable dining prices.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🛫🛫🛫🛫 Charlotte Douglas is one of the better large airports I’ve traveled through. It feels modern and high-tech, with plenty of screens, charging stations, and amenities that make connections easier. The terminals are clean and well laid out, with a good variety of food and coffee options. Wait times at security can get long during peak hours, but staff usually keep things moving. The airport is also undergoing a major expansion and modernization project to handle the surge in air travel as Charlotte and North Carolina continue to grow rapidly. The signature rocking chairs throughout add a unique Southern charm you don’t find elsewhere.

Recommendations: Give yourself a little extra time between flights because they have some horizontal conveyors down, and construction going on. Food: plenty of common airport food and drink places. Pricey like every other airport. I paid 15$ for a croissant chicken salad sandwich. Service: Everyone was pleasant and they were all smiling. They had people actively cleaning around seating and the bathroom which is nice. Services: all kinds of services. You can get a shoe shine, and massage amongst other things. Building: The place is pretty big. May take a bit to get around. Not like Chicago or Las Vegas Bathroom: Clean but busy. Parking: plenty of parking. Notes: This is a nice airport. Besides the upgrades going on, I wasn’t inconvenienced at all. Hit the thumbs up and give me a follow. I’m trying to be relevant or something. It’s my only bragging rights.

As fas as airports go it is a nice and I like the rocking chairs there are plenty of shops and places to eat. I do not start here so I can’t speak of security or parking. Inside it’s a good airport for a layover.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport is a very large and extremely busy airport, serving as a major hub with flights going in and out constantly. Because of its size and traffic, it can feel overwhelming at times, especially during peak hours. Currently, the airport is undergoing some renovations and construction projects, which, while ultimately aimed at improving the facilities, can cause delays, detours, and general inconvenience for travelers. Expect longer walks to certain gates, shifting layouts, and occasional bottlenecks. That said, the airport still manages to be fairly well-organized with clear signage, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options once you get past security. Staff generally keep things moving despite the heavy crowds, though wait times for security and boarding can be longer than at smaller airports. Overall, CLT is a busy, bustling hub that’s improving but currently a bit rough around the edges due to ongoing renovation. If you allow extra time and patience, it remains a solid airport with lots of connections and amenities.

I fly out of this airport often. CLT is among the busiest airports globally: In 2022 it was ranked 7th in the world for total arrivals/departures. It's a major hub (especially for American Airlines), serving tens of thousands of passengers each day and hundreds of flights. If you’re flying through or departing from, expect high volumes, and plan ahead (arrive early, be ready for busy checkpoints, etc.) Although They handle the flow very well. Most of the time :) ... Plenty of dining options, and efficient terminal layout.

We had an amazing stay here at the Holiday Inn Express South End. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were very clean. We were allowed to check in earlier, which was great because we drove in early from Columbia. When we arrived home, my wife realized she had left a dress in the closet of our hotel room. The staff were super helpful. Especially Alex (who we were able to text with) helped us get the dress mailed back to our home.

We had such a great experience! The staff was exceptionally friendly—one of the housekeeping ladies even noticed me struggling with my things and kindly helped me to the lobby. Our room was spacious, spotless, and I especially appreciated that it didn’t have carpet. Aside from a rug under the bed, the floors are all tile/hard surface, which feels much cleaner. My husband and I were here for work, and it was very convenient to have conference rooms available to reserve for client meetings. The location was also perfect—close to great dining, convenience stores, and a running trail, yet surprisingly quiet since it’s surrounded by condo and apartment buildings. The only thing I didn’t like was that there weren’t any bottles of water in the room, which would have been a nice touch.

Loved our stay here. The location is INCREDIBLE. There is a convenience story across the street and you can walk to a dozen or more restaurants within 10 minutes. The rail is also just up the street. The hotel was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The shower was large and has good water pressure. Breakfast was great with hot and cold options and delicious coffee. I appreciated the security at the lower door and for swiping to use the elevators. It may seem like a pain- but I prefer it over some alternatives. My only somewhat negative feedback is the parking. At checkin, we were advised to pay for parking using the QR code and that we could come and go from the lot without having to pay again. However, what was not noted is that the parking lot is tiny compared to the size of the hotel and there were no spots available when we got back. We had to pay to park on the street that night and then move the car back into the lot at 7am when street parking rules kicked back in and thankfully ONE spot opened up in the deck. There were a few spots open the whole time we were there but they were for electric cars only. It would be nice to have a warning about this up front.

I stayed at this hotel earlier this year as it was the only option that was nearby the event I was attending. Even though I arrived after check in, they did not have my room ready for me and downgraded me front a king balcony room to a room with two queen beds and no balcony. They still charged me the same rate. That night when I went to shower, I discovered the shower was not clean, and there were hairs (definitely not mine) in several places on the shower walls. I conveyed all this in feedback online via their survey. The manager reached out to ask what they could do, and when I replied, I never received a response. I was very disappointed as this hotel is in a prime location. I would recommend staying uptown.

Very poor service - front desk not helpful at all. Room was noisy, elevator, lobby and hallways smell like pot, breakfast not very good. Way too expensive for a mediocre hotel. Parking is $15 a night but you might not get a space. Then you pay $45 a night for overflow in addition to the hotel charge.

STAY HERE!!!!!! We booked this hotel on a total fluke after a canceled flight. This was the best thing that could have happened to us! The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The rooms were clean and plenty big for 5 of us (2 littles 2&4) we had an awesome view of the park that was an across the street, that my kids also loved playing at. There is a lot of awesome shops, restaurants and bakery’s walking distance (8-10 min walk) and we even walked to the NASCAR museum from this hotel, it was about 25 min but plenty of safe walking trails, the downtown area had plenty of police directing traffic, we felt very secure. The breakfast area is spacious and the breakfast seemed fresh. They had a market of items that you may need during you stay which was so helpful since our bags made it to our final destination but, we did not… in addiction to toiletries, laundry soaps and snacks they had local beer and wine for purchase which was perfect for us to enjoy in the hotel room. They offered a late check out which fit in to our schedule perfectly and we truly from the bottom of our hearts could not have found a better place to stay. Thank you thank you!! ❤️❤️

Okay location, and service was fine. But if you are trying to get a restful night of sleep, this is unfortunately not the place. I was in Charlotte on business and needed a full night’s rest. The soundproofing in this building is pretty much nonexistent. I was kept awake until 12am by loud guests on my floor and doors slamming every 10-15 minutes. Then, I was woken up at 5am by people stomping and dropping things above my room. And the noises were so frequent that I could not fall back asleep. All that to say - very little sleep was had in this hotel room.

Can't wait for the grand opening of the Uptown library because there's no way one should have to walk almost 2 miles to the nearest library like I found that unacceptable. On the bright side, this library have the basic necessities that a typical library has such as a bathroom, computers, WI-FI, a mall cop hovering over you, etc.

Idk how you could give this place anything but 5 stars! Free books? Free Internet? A ton of free educational resources? Free Streaming library? This place has it all! I guess our taxes technically pay for this, but hey its one of the few government services that is useful and beneficial to everyone. This location is clean, friendly and comfortable on a hot day, couldn't ask for anything else! Come on down and get a card!

The remodel is beautiful and the workers are friendly and helpful. My remarks are about the inconsistent noise level, pre and post remodel. I guess the modern concept of a library is a certain liveliness that wasn’t always present so that’s kind of a good thing, especially in light of headphones and other noise canceling devices. Yesterday the noise level was quiet until a fellow in the open area in the back began having a one-way conversation. He was on the other side of the room but even with headphones, I was able to hear him, full-pitch. So I moved up to the front of the library not realizing I was sitting in the children’s area. There weren’t any children or parents and I was alone. The security guard saw me and sent over a worker to tell me I wasn’t allowed but that she’d make an exception because there weren’t any children. But, she advised, the moment children showed up, I was to leave. I explained that I’d moved there because someone in back was having an audible conversation. She was pleasant and was doing her job. We did briefly discuss that another quieter library would likely be a better fit for me given the nature of my work. I’ve noted that both Myers Park and SouthPark are improved in this category and have more options for solitude. Yesterday, however, I was able to go across the street. Upstairs, in Harris Teeter, the work environment proved quieter (the din upstairs is almost white noise). Encouragement is if you want to have a quieter work environment, another library might be your best bet. I’ve always appreciated the folks at this library but would not feel encouraged to return. I will be changing my Holds status to Myers Park.

Nice, cozy, clean library. Polite staff. The selection of books is poor, but I was told you can request books and they can bring them to this location - it connects all other Mecklenburg county libraries together. I guess, the electronic inventory is great, they are on Libby and Hoopla and allow lots of borrowing and holds. However, just venturing here for no reason and finding something of interest may be naive - they don't have much. You won't be lost in rows upon rows of books, that's for sure. Still great, I appreciate libraries of any size and selection, especially with the staff as polite as theirs!

It’s a nice small library. With about 5 tables and more if you want to study and get work done. They have computers too. However I won’t be coming back because it stinks in there. The smell was too distracting for me

I love this library. I love the area. Always have. I've been in Charlotte for a little over 30 years now, even before this library opened & I've always loved the area before that. I started using this one again about two years ago when I figured this one was easiest for me to get to even though Independence Regional is closer (I don't drive right now. Plus, I like hanging out at the Harris Teeter across the street). The librarians are always nice & helpful when I need to ask a question. Easy for me to find what I need because it's not a huge library but still enough space to be comfortable, even during this tough time we're in. Plaza Midwood and Independence Regional are both favorites for me.

Amazing place!!!! I love Billy Graham and I am so glad I got the opportunity to visit his library. You can sense the presence of God there, all the staff are SO WARM and FRIENDLY. The tour and experience is well organized and laid out. I would gladly come back again and again. Glory to God for blessing us with such a man and his ministry. And to all who put this together to honour his legacy which points us all to Jesus. And it’s totally free!

This is a must see! The Billy Graham Library is truly a special place. The Journey of Faith museum experience is so well done it beautifully captures the history of Billy Graham’s life and ministry. Walking through, you can see how God used his obedience and faith to impact millions around the world. Every exhibit is meaningful, and the storytelling is powerful and personal. I visited years ago and wow, that have really done a pronominal job. Be sure and check out his childhood home, which has been carefully preserved, as well as the quiet, peaceful gravesite it’s a moving reminder of a life well lived. A great tip: take a little time to sit on the back porch with a good book and just soak in the atmosphere. The setting itself is peaceful and welcoming, making the entire visit feel uplifting. Also spend some time in the gift shop as well as the cafe. The food on the cafe is really good and reasonably priced. I left encouraged, inspired, and grateful for the reminder of how God can use one life surrendered to Him and reach so many,

What a neat place! I think they moved Billy Graham’s home four miles to this location, which is pretty amazing, Rick. The people there are super friendly. I don’t know if I would call it just a library or more of an experience. It begins with a visit to the main library, where friendly staff introduce you to the site and give a short tour via videos about Millard and his evangelistic movement. At the end, of course, you get a call from Billy encouraging you to give your life to the Lord, which is a nice touch. However, some people might find it odd if they just happen across the place. The house is well maintained, although you can’t go upstairs. There are a couple of pieces of furniture that were actually in the Graham household, while everything else is period-appropriate.

Beautiful experience! I would visit again and would love to take my kids. This is a great reminder of our purpose as followers of Christ, to spread the gospel. Each exhibit is amazing and great way to share his life and all his accomplishments.

We visited the museum several weekends in a row because we really enjoyed the tours and the walking areas. We gained a lot of positive emotions and inspiration from the life story of Billy Graham. His home is a work of art in itself, and we enjoyed every corner of it.

Had an Amazing time. Such a fun, peaceful place. Billy's story is unmatched. Staff are all friendly and even offer to pray for you. Prices aren't terrible and there is food on site(and ice cream)

Visiting the Billy Graham Library was one of the most moving experiences of my life. The atmosphere is filled with peace, love, and God’s presence. A truly beautiful place that touches the heart and soul.

My mother, 3 daughters, and I went to see Wicked. It was wonderful seats and a beautiful theater. My husband and I along with 2 of our friends went in the spring to see The Thorne!! Wow, oh wow.. it was amazing. I dont believe it matters where you sit the seats are awesome. The few steps you go down to get to the lower seats are easily accessible, but they also have a small elevator which holds 3 people or a wheelchair and 1 person comfortably. The parking is really close by, but it is a madhouse to get out. You need to know how to drive in back to back traffic.

I had the privilege of seeing‘Immediate Family’ last night at the Booth Theatre (1st time at this venue). I must say that I was entirely enthused with the performance as well as the atmosphere. It was an intimate setting and the acoustics and view were outstanding. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks for the hospitality, you all do an awesome job with your duties and I love it.

Beautiful theater. Seating is spectacular even in the balcony. Acoustics are good. Rick at the box office was super helpful and generous to us, with 5 last minute tickets a few minutes before the show!!

Great venue for theatrical performances! Had a wonderful experience at the final stage performance of Wicked. Lots of excitement in the lobby, friendly staff (concessions, souvenirs, seating attendants). Remarkable, talented performers and orchestra. Stage sets were fantastic. Bravo!

Beautiful theater. The staff is very organized for any events that I have been to there. Would be a 5 but seats can be a little uncomfortable after a while. Certain rows do not have much leg room.

Went and saw Beetlejuice here. The musical was good. Pretty decent size theatre. Only problem is it is downtown. Gets very busy in downtown Charlotte. Overall, I had a good experience. Would definitely go again.

I love this theater. Very intimate. Every seat is excellent. People are very professional and friendly. Everyone is willing to assist you.

Parking here is a scam. Came for summer camp play. Was charged $20 for 2 hours. 90 min was supposed to validated and then $5 per half hour. Was overcharged and they wouldn’t let me out unless I paid the full 20. Took pics of the signs and will be disputing the charge.

This is a gem in the city. You can make a day of it. Take the train with your child, come here to this fabulous free library and go around the corner for lunch. Our toddler loved it here. It’s nice, clean, free and fun. What an amazing place for children.

One of the most beautifully designed libraries we have ever been to. A lot of interactive set up for kids. Now they are having an famous art inspired hall exhibit set up on the ground floor, which is so fun for our toddler. They also have regular story times. All the designs here are super kids friendly and oriented.

This is an awesome place! The kids were thrilled running around to check out all the activities and exhibits. Wish we lived closer to be able to take advantage of being able to check out books. Side note: there are two pokemon gyms reachable from inside and the park across the road is full of pokestops

Lots of books for kids and teenagers, fun small play area kind outside. This entrance is free unless you want to get some books etc. Lot of science activities for kids like magnets, books along with other play stuff. Definitely recommend going here, if you wanted to go during busy time I would recommend going by train as the station was literally next door.

You can find plenty of things for your kids to do here. It’s not a typical library, it gets loud in here but it’s a really good place for your kids to have fun. Your first glimpse of entertainment comes on the sidewalk entrance.

Our family absolutely loves this library. There is something for kids of all ages, birth to 17. They have a variety of programs, story time, book clubs, etc. The architecture is inviting and beautiful. Almost everything is interactive and educational. It's also an excellent location in the heart of uptown with ample green space, restaurants, museums, and train stop nearby.
