Crave Dessert Bar is pure temptation in the best way possible. The second you walk in, the atmosphere wraps around you, setting the mood perfectly. The staff knows what they're doing—they were attentive without being intrusive, which I loved. But let's talk about the main event: that chocolate cake. It was absolutely sinful and worth every bite. Paired with a Chocolate Crack martini, it was a taste of heaven. It’s the kind of place that leaves you wanting more. A little heads-up: the bathrooms could use a little more love, but trust me, everything else is so good you won't even care.

We went in because we remember Crave’s deserts spot while driving by Graham and 5th street and oh lord… Crave has stepped their game up (boomer quote!) They have made an elegant and decorative atmosphere with A1 service and everybody, I mean everyone is buying into it! From the moment you walk in hello’s to the goodbye’s when you are leaving! The staff were amazing, professional and caring. Not to mention, the chef was not going to be out done by anybody and (put his foot into) the lamb chops and crab dip… (not literally) (just another boomer gesture)! The bartender was not getting outdone and stepped up with some delicious and beautiful drinks and quick too!

I had an amazing time for my first time here. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm, inviting atmosphere, customer service and the vibrant energy that filled the space. Came in just for dessert but ended up trying the spinach dip, short beef rib sliders, and oreo cheesecake. The food was outrageously delicious and the cheesecake was full flavor and beautifully presented. The overall vibe was just perfect, making it an ideal spot for both a fun night out with friends or a cozy meet up. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommended! Alina was my waitress and she was very pleasant great customer service. Bryce the security was very friendly and gave great recommendations on the food.

Absolutely love the night vibe, stopped in for dessert - the chocolate covered strawberries was amazing! I almost ordered a second order 😊. I am not a drinker so I ordered a mocktail which for $11 was not worth it with all the ice. I think I got to sips of something to actually drink. Have your ID because you will get carded to enter.

Crave Hookah Bar in downtown Charlotte is always a great spot to unwind. The vibe is relaxed but lively, with good music and a fun crowd. Their hookah flavors are smooth and long-lasting, and the drinks are consistently on point. A special shout-out to Alina, my favorite person at work —she’s super attentive, welcoming, and always remembers my usual order. Her energy makes every visit feel like a treat. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Alina if you want top-notch service!

Our sever Angela was amazing! I ordered the skirt steak and my husband ordered the crab crake sliders. We were disappointed that there weren’t any sides to order, however the crab cakes and skirt steak were excellent! My skirt steak came with some spinach which was good once I added salt and pepper. We would love to have had some sides though. Mashed potatoes would have paired well with my skirt steak. Angela was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The menus however need a good cleaning. It was obvious that people touched them with food on their hands. Smudges were everywhere. Our drinks were great!!! Our desserts were great! The atmosphere was great!! The vibe was great!!!

Bella was our waitress and oh my goodness… the service was amazing! THE FOOD was incredible. This was a last-minute choice for our group of four, and I’m so glad we ended up here. I tried the lamb sliders and the blue crab dip for the first time, and I’m officially in love. Highly recommend!

Delightful experience with Duck donuts. The warm, fluffy texture and delicious flavored donuts are simply irresistible. Glazing and drizzles over the donuts were done perfectly without overpowering the flavor.

Yummy made to order deliciousness. They were pretty busy and short staffed like most places these days, but customer service was still on point. They had DoorDash orders coming in as well and lady behind the counter running the register (I assume manager) wanted to make sure the staff got caught up before she took my order so I would have fresh and hot donuts. I definitely appreciated that. I got the maple bacon, and they did not disappoint. So warm and flavorful.

Let me tell everyone, duck donuts has some of the most melt in your mouth, most delicious donuts ever. So many toppings to choose from. What makes Duck Donuts stand out to me is the fact that you can get any topping/s on a donut and the price is literally the same. Some places like to upcharge a fee for adding more than one topping and there is nothing wrong with that. However, in my personal opinion this is what keeps me coming back plus the fast service, the fact that you get to see the donuts being made, and the outstanding customer service. People need to understand, customer service is everything especially if you are the face of the company. With this being said, kudos to all of the phenomenal employees plus management team. These are my top go to donuts - Peanut Butter glaze, Peanut toppings, Caramel drizzle - Peanut Butter glaze, Maple drizzle - Vanilla glaze, Caramel drizzle - Blueberry glaze - My daughter loves their maple bacon (unfortunately, I don't eat pork) It smells and looks good - Other flavors i've tried are the French Toast, Strawberry glaze, regular glaze, and lemon glaze As you can see above, Peanut Butter glaze is my #1 favorite. I often visit the Kennilworth Ave. location. Awesome job!

Absolutely terrible service, walked in and didn't even get looked at. Walk up to the counter and still no response from the lady, never been to this place and there were no menu above so I had to grab a book and look through selections. No recommendations from staff. No "have a great day thanks for coming in". Cinnamon sugar donut was very good! Never coming back here due to the poor service!!!

Very good and very fresh. For a “design your own donut@ and specialty donut, the prices are also good. The cashier was very helpful and patient with us as we had never been. It was really cool to see all of the concoctions you can come up with on your own order sheet to have made. It is also to cool to watch them make your order from batter to toppings, boxed and ready to go as they call your ticket number. It was awesome to watch that. They also have coffee, drinks, and water (free) for you to drink.

One of the best donut in the world. It is excellent. The donut is very crunchy, yet very tasty. The selection of the donut taste is amazing, especially the chocolate-bacon and the chocolate explosive. The donuts are simply amazing. The place only have few tables and chairs. The restroom is clean. The service is good. Again, the donuts is simply amazing.

Staff was nice, donuts were hot & made to order, and there is a wide variety of flavors to choose from. Every donut I got was pretty tasty. I've heard many good things about this place and it's all true...a must visit!

Great prices for the two items I got! Staff was very friendly and the wait time was low, which made the experience even better. The inside atmosphere is cozy and welcoming—perfect spot to stop by any time of day, and I love that they open early. Convenient location too. I ordered the almond croissant with a coffee (about $10 total). The coffee had a nice flavor - not bland at all. The almond croissant was a good size with a sweet breading that’s a little different from others I’ve tried - would prefer regular croissant breading. Overall, I’d come back if I was in the area again 😊

We were just passing through Charlotte on a regular Monday morning, looking for a simple breakfast — nothing fancy. But this place turned our Monday into a little weekend getaway! At first, we were drawn in by the beautiful design and cozy atmosphere, but what really surprised us was how delicious the food was — and most of all, the incredible service. Every single person on the team was so attentive, from the folks at the counter to the kitchen staff who made sure everything was just right. You could genuinely feel the care and attention to detail in every part of the experience. We left with big smiles and full hearts. Highly recommend this gem!

We really enjoyed our visit here! Needed a quick bite to eat and coffee, this was in walking distance from our hotel. Staff were so kind and patient with us, helping us understand their products and substitutions that could be made. I hope to go back one day!

Beautiful restaurant with great vibes! We tried the iced lattes, French toast, and egg biscuit sandwich and loved it all. We couldn't leave without trying pastries! They were too pretty to pass up.

Ordering was quick and easy. Nice selection of pastries. Cappuccino and café au lait were good. My wife enjoyed her French toast with berries. My sandwich was OK - the baguette was a bit crumbly and lacking in flavor. The pain au chocolat was very good - light and flaky with quality chocolate.

We absolutely loved it. My husband and I were in town for the cowboys game and we got up early on Sunday morning and went to Amelie's. We both got the croque monsieur. It was fantastic 🤩. I wish I had gotten coffee instead of a diet Coke. I definitely will next time. Really good! Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. My husband loved it.....and the desserts? To numerous to mention here. Just GO!!!! Absolutely wonderful!!!

Insomnia Cookies is a decent spot if you’re craving a late-night sweet treat, especially warm cookies delivered right to your door. I’ve ordered a few times, and while the concept is great and the cookies usually arrive warm, the experience can be hit or miss. The classic chocolate chip and double chocolate chunk are rich and satisfying, but some of the other flavors tend to be overly sweet or inconsistent in texture. I also tried their brownies and ice cream sandwiches good, but not always worth the higher price tag. Service-wise, delivery times can vary. On some nights, it’s prompt and efficient, while other times there’s a long wait, even without a high volume of orders. The staff in-store are friendly, but lines can get long during peak hours. Overall, Insomnia Cookies is good for an occasional indulgence, especially when you’re craving something late at night, but it doesn’t always deliver on consistency or value for money. Still, it’s a fun option to have nearby just don’t expect every visit to be perfect.

Came in to get some ice cream. Store was open but no one was around. Neighborhood looked pretty dangerous so hopefully the employees were OK. I considered just taking the ice cream because it would have been very easy to do so but i'm not from that particular background. That being said, I'm assuming it happens a lot judging by the surrounding area.

Smells like *CHEF’s KISS* the minute you step inside!!!! 😤🥴🤤 Pleasant customer service, short wait times as the crew members are pretty efficient, and they offer VEGAN & Gluten Free items!?! I typically go for the Vegan treats, but tried the gluten free option on my last visit. A little more “grainier/crumblier” than what im used to… but hey!!! Still just as good 😎👍 Still served warm, with a light crunch on the outside edges and a oowey gooey middle in the center! And, they even have VEGAN beverage options too!!! I am clearly a Fan! Side note: Wishing they would offer vegan icecream options as well in the future!

I think this location was better than my 1 st experience with the company on THE OHIO State university ,Go Buckeyes,! I would've rated this experience a 4 had they had cookies perpared ! There was a slight wait ,but everything was delicious! One reason I also decided to take a point off was ,no glues or washing of hands by the server. Being from Ohio both are REQUIRED for every person you serve ! Another reason was a deliver came in sat with those standing going between the kitchen and returning to his plate of cookies he got from the kitchen! It parking was easy and the parking lot was clean.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of one because the cookies really are delicious. However, I had to wait 3 hours to recieve them after ordering, and we live within 15 minutes in bad traffic. When I did finally receive my order, it was wrong. We had ordered the cookie sandwich pack. This was supposed to come with 6 regular cookies, 4 toppings, and a pint of ice cream. We recieved a small ice cream. This was supposed to be enough to make three ice cream sandwiches, and it would have barely made one. I also recieved a cookie that looks like someone may have had a nibble of. In the 3 hours of waiting I also made 2 phone calls, each an hour apart, and was told my order would be arriving very soon each time. Neither time was I offered any sort of compensation for my trouble. I'm normally not one to complain but my bedtime was delayed from 11pm until 2am, so please excuse me for being grumpy. This was a very disappointing experience and I will definitely be looking at a competitor next time I get a late night sweet tooth.

We lucked out and got there when there was next to no line. Sometimes, the line is crazy long at this location, so be prepared to wait. The fresh waffle cone was excellent, but the service wasn't the best. Parking is also hard to find near the location as well. The flavors were good but definitely not the best ice cream that I've ever had.

What a delightful ice cream shop! You get to watch them make the waffle cones. That was quite a novel experience for me. However, the descriptions are slightly misleading. The half scoops are definitely a full scoop LOL. If you're trying to watch the size of your hips, order a little less than you think you're going to get. Or split an order with a friend. The flavors were rich and creamy and the staff was efficient and polite. I got the darkest chocolate and mint chocolate chip. A delectable combination.

I purchased the double dough ice cream in a waffle bowl. Two small scoops. $9 & change. You end up paying the price of a sit down dinner meal if you would like to treat a family of 3 or 4, just for a small serving of ice cream. It is obviously not a huge deal for many, as their business continues to thrive; but the serving size should match the price.

I wanted to include a picture of the ice cream but I ate it too quickly. So good with a variety of delicious flavors for everyone. I chose gooey butter cake and buttercream birthday cake in a standard size. Perfect amount for a small sweet treat.

When they say "half scoop," they genuinely mean a tiny half scoop. For the price, you end up with a very small portion. Overall, I was not impressed. The value isn't there, and there are better dessert options.

It was all extremely reasonably priced and we were able to get a variety of flavors for our guests: chocolate mouse, vanilla raspberry, & strawberry chiffon. Instead of one traditional cake, we had the idea to pass out 10 individual cakes at our wedding—one for each table—and not only did they make it happen, they absolutely blew us away. Omg 😲 this place is so dangerous if you're trying to stay on a perfect diet, me on the other hand, I'm not too worried about a "summer body" haha. But No this place has some of the best desserts I've had in Charlotte in a long time. When I say that Carrot Cake and Key Lime Cheesecake are the Best I've ever had I mean just that. I also had the pleasure of trying the Cheesecake Brownie and Red Velvet stuffed cookie which were good too! However I am a Carrot Cake person and this has beat some of my top places, the cake itself is so soft and moist, the icing is perfectly layered and decadent, then you get nice pieces of Carrot spread throughout OMG! To Die For 😋 It's safe to say I will be back for more ❤️

I wanted to order a birthday cake for my two year old using one of their house designs but without the chocolate drip on top - would have been easiest thing for them to do but the woman taking the order said they couldn’t make any changes. I understand certain changes aren’t possible but this one would have been so easy. I think she may not have understood rules around customization but it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with Suarez.

Everything is always perfection. The latest loaf ‘Almond Cocoa Nib’ is so incredibly lovely. The portion was NOT stingy either! Wentworth and Fenn you are doing mighty fine things with the simplest of ingredients. Thank you for keeping our tastebuds happy and hungry for more.

I had an amazing experience at this coffee shop! The drip coffee was perfectly brewed, rich, and flavorful. I also tried the salted caramel cake, and it was simply delicious – the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The highlight of my visit was the super friendly barista, who made me feel right at home. Excellent service and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

After getting dinner at Leah and Louise, we stopped by here for some dessert. We sampled several things from their fall menu: caramel apple macaron, pumpkin ginger cheesecake, banana white chocolate bread pudding, and a salted caramel oatmeal cream pie. I had heard great things about the bread, so we also got a rosemary olive oil goat cheese foccacia. We really enjoyed all of the desserts (with the exception of the cheesecake which I wasn't a huge fan of). The bread pudding was my favorite. I absolutely loved the middle bite of the salted caramel oatmeal cream pie, but it made me wish the other bites had caramel too (it was only in the middle). I'm not a bread person, but the bread stood out the most. It was incredible. It had the best flavor and was coated in sea salt. The olive oil made it moist. We were going to save most of it for later and ended up finishing the whole load when we got home. If you haven't tried their bread, you really need to. I'm already wanting to go back for more.

Armed with the determination of a foodie on a mission, I set my alarm clock with military precision, ensuring I'd arrive just in time to sample their famed Saturday bakery specials. The menu? A smorgasbord of freshly baked wonders that could tempt even the most disciplined of eaters. Peering into the display case, my eyes danced over the array of fresh cakes, breads and pastries, each looking more tantalizing than the last. While I didn't indulge this time, they've been duly noted for a future visit, which, let me assure you, will be sooner rather than later. First on my list was the Basil & Burrata Bialy, a masterpiece of baked goods that harmoniously blends the freshness of basil with the creamy delight of burrata, all atop a bialy that's as pillowy as clouds in a Renaissance painting. I finally made it! I’ve been looking forward to this forever! Sam is a treasure & her baked goods are divine! I could have taken everything home! Carly waited on me with patience & took great care helping me pick out a biscuit, a vegan pastry, a loaf of the 4 cheese onion & garlic boule. While my husband was in Babe and Butcher I broke off a piece of the biscuit and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted any biscuit like this one! And I have had my share of biscuits my entire life. The size of this thing, Oh my! I had to try Hex Coffee. Most coffees can be bitter, but not this one. It was perfect! I want to personally thank Sam for having me as a guest in her beautiful space! Allowing me to indulge in her amazing baked goods baked with love & artfully displayed. Anyone wanting to experience a unique bakery, this is it! Parts of this bakery took me back to France & a mix of modern day. The macarons were like pieces of art! Don’t hesitate! Get in your car & go experience this delightful bakery & Sam’s charms for yourself! After you pick up your treats, walk around & explore Camp North End, it’s a gem in Charlotte! Update: Update: July 26 I can’t resist coming in for a treat when I am in the area. This afternoon my husband and I shared a chocolate pastry with this amazing espresso cream. How do you expect me to eat a burnt egg sandwich. This tasted like paper and I had to throw it away after spending $8 on it. What a shame, this was absolutely disgusting and I am never ordering food from this place again. Don't get the egg sandwiches here, they always burn the eggs. They don't know how to cook eggs.

the atmosphere of the cafe is very nice and calm. one of the workers (faye? fay?) provided excellent customer service and had my food and drink out in a timely manner. not only was the food excellent, but the server also offered to add syrup to my coffee without extra charge if it wasn’t sweet enough. will definitely be coming back.

First off impressions....very clean The lady behind the counter was very helpful and kind. We decided on a “dirty” latte and regular coffee along with a blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll. The lady let me sample my latte to make sure the sweetness was to my liking and it was. I thought that was a nice touch or customer service. The regular coffee was decent. The blueberry muffin is not your typical sweet muffin. It grabs its sweetness from the real blueberries. The cinnamon roll was super sweet but somehow I couldn’t stop eating it. You could taste the real cinnamon! We got there after lunch time and there just weren’t many options left to choose from. Knowing this I suggest going earlier to make sure you can pick what you like. Lots of vegan/gluten free options.

Sunny’s Special Sandwich (Rosemary sourdough bread) with meat, egg and sundried tomato pesto was decent. Blueberry muffin was aromatic and surprisingly the sweetness comes from only blueberries. Pastry is crumbly and fresh.

Beautiful Interior. It is designed like a French from outside as well. The staff is polite and kind. Tried to display the main attractions of France. Food was good but I felt much sweeter than regular.

Enjoyed my experience. It had been a while and I decided to come with family for a quick little brunch sesh and they loved it. Pastries were nice and soft. Nicely sweetened. Coffee and lattes were very good as well. Nice balance of coffee and sweet. A bit pricey but granted we did buy a lot. Atmosphere is very chill and quiet enough for people to bring their work and have a treat. Lots of parking also, its right in front of Sprouts market and beside the Atrium Health Urgent Care.

We stopped by this Amelie’s in the NoDa area of Charlotte after seeing it recommended on several food lists, and it completely lived up to the hype. The place has a wonderful mix of French bakery treats along with great options for breakfast and lunch. We couldn’t resist trying the macarons, especially the fun flavors like peanut butter and jelly and coconut lime. They were a bit larger than usual and packed with great flavor. The café itself is absolutely charming, filled with creative French-inspired décor that makes it feel special from the moment you walk in. The service was warm, friendly, and made the visit even better. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their pastries!

Have been going to Amelie’s since 2009. Boy has it changed but keeps getting better! Went for me and my husband’s anniversary last week after dinner as a throwback. We moved an hour away and did dinner in Charlotte also. Of course we had to get the SCB ( salted Caramel Brownie) and decaf which they brewed fresh. I am gluten and dairy free and didn’t think I’d have anything for me other than coffee but shockingly the pbj macaroon and macarons were both gluten and dairy free. Always a fav!

As a Francophile I’m pretty disappointed in Amelie’s. I used to come to Amelie’s park road location in high school and was impressed with the assortment of deserts, treats and most importantly baguettes. I move away for some year during college and then moved to France after college for a year. Maybe it’s my experience but their sandwiches are just not good any more. This is my third time having a bad experience specifically with the baguettes. Baguettes are so simple but so important to a good sandwich and a good French establishment. These baguettes sandwiches are not small but are just bad. They need massive improvement. Pictured below is the sandwich I bought for $12. It’s a quarter of the entire sandwich which shows really how small these are. Goat cheese is in the title of the sandwich but i can’t taste it at all! Look at the picture yourself and try to find the goat cheese! There is none! Owners, if you are reading this. PLEASE go to France and then come back and review your menu. You can make improvement and bring this establishment back to its glory. It has fallen so far from excellent.

I cannot even begin to tell you how in love I am with Amélie's. This place is such a vibe! Perfect place to meet up with friends or family. Food/drinks were amazing! Such a comfortable atmosphere. To beat the crowds I'd highly recommended an early weekday or weekend morning.

I really like this cafe. The pastries are delicious. The interior is gorgeous. I've been to a similar cafe, but in Uptown, and it was terrible,it was like they were two different cafes. That's why I love going to this particular cafe, in Noda.

Lovely spot - out of the 3 patisseries in SouthPark this one takes my vote for the best for food, atmosphere, and experience. The patio seating area is really quite something - beautiful plants and even a fountain make it a special place where you feel transported out of Charlotte and into a quaint villa. An umbrella is covering each table and plenty of tree foliage so you can enjoy it even on a hot summer day! Food was very delicious - we had fig, arugula, white cheddar tartine and the avocado toast. To drink we had the lemon raspberry mimosa and coffee. And we had some nice desert pastries to top it off. Will definitely be back!

Such an amazing quaint lil place! Everything was absolutely delish! Nice patio seating for when weather is nice. I can definitely see this becoming a regular spot for me.

Went to the Bastille Day celebration here at the bakery in South Park. Had an accordion player, a chef making crepes, and delicious food from the bakery. Lots of seating outside, pretty water features. Had fun. Recommend bakery!

Today, May 10th, I ordered my food at 2:07 pm and my food arrived after 30 minutes at 2:39 pm with a hair. The cooks do not use the hair protector to prevent your hair from falling into the food. Basically when the owner of the place is there everything is perfect, but today he is not there. I picked up my cake on Thursday 05/15, but I ate it yesterday, Friday, and the cake had more cheese than cake and was orange. My cake was supposedly made with Redvelt.😵‍💫😵‍💫

FYI the kitchen closes at 3PM it was my first time but I had no idea. The staff was very courteous and let us know. We ordered 2 orders of beef bourguignon it comes with a side and 2 slices of baguette. The ratatouille was phenomenal you can tell the work it took and the eggplant wasn’t slimy. The bourguignon was incredible. The depth of flavor and richness reminded me of stuff my grandmother made. You can taste the bit of wine in it and I’m definitely coming back to try their other soups quiches and the Coq Au Vin. The latte and macaroons were great one of their regulars bought us two macaroons and took one of our fries 😆. A true Gem in Charlotte.” 💎

Mornings have always been a refreshing start for the day at SouthPark with a quaint atmosphere of Renaissance Pattiserie which is just a few blocks away from our home. This delectable experience is coupled by my personal choice of Croque Monsieur and Florentine Quiche plus the aroma of a cup of cappuccino. It is highly rated and a benchmark for lifestyle breakfast.

This is one of my favorites places to stop anytime. Love the decoration, the environment, the service and of course the food . Santy is amazing!

Two Scoops Creamery is a great spot for a sweet treat! They have a cozy outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy your ice cream. The parking can be a bit tricky since it’s close to the city—if the lot is full, just be prepared to circle around a bit. I ordered Butter Pecan and Captain Jack, and they were so good—a surprisingly great pairing! They offer a wide variety of flavors, and it’s nice that they let you sample before making a decision. If you’re not in the mood for just ice cream, they have other dessert options too. Friendly service, good vibes, and delicious ice cream—I’ll definitely be back!

My wife , daughter and I had an afternoon treat at Two Scoops Creamery . It was delicious. I had a cup with two scoops ! One of coffee flavored ice cream, and the other called shipwrecked which consisted of chocolate ice cream ..salted caramel and Oreos ! Delicious!! If you’re in the Plaza ..Midwood area of Charlotte NC on Central Avenue then you owe it to those you love to load the car ,and head on out to Two Scoops Creamery ! You won’t be disappointed . Thanks Wayne and we’ll be back for sure !

Super delicious! They have tons of cool and unique flavors to choose from. They are pet friendly and even have a special flavor for your pup pal! Parking is a little tight if you are in a larger vehicle or truck, but still doable.

If you like ice cream with generous fillings, this is the best in Charlotte, hands-down. Rotated flavors are exceptional. Holiday ice cream pies are perfect, extremely reliable, and a highlight for all my family. The staff are what brings us back almost weekly. Love this place and will continue to get a pint or two to-go every time we come.

Very good ice cream with mostly classical flavors with mix-ins (18+ with 4 vegan) at great prices (2 scoops for $6) and large portions. They allow two samples, have ample indoor and outdoor seating and a nice ambience. Definitely recommend. Our favorites were the chocolate raspberry chip, the berry sorbet and vanilla with brownie and chocolate chips.

Perf. Flavors are true to their name and the texture is amazing. Price is typical of other ice cream shops but the guy that scooped with short brown curly hair scoops hefty scoop. Great bang for your buck if he’s working. No pictures cause I was too excited to eat. Well done!

I was so excited about trying this bakery after reading the reviews. I only enjoyed the almond croissant and the s’mores bar. Unfortunately, the chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon roll were hard, tasted stale and were trashed. Overall, I would not recommend this bakery.

Stopped into Villani’s bakery this weekend Saturday around 3pm. There was a good amount of parking as it’s next to an açaí and cheese steak place. The bakery was great, tiny, but the line moved very quick. They had everything from drinks to cakes to small bakery items like macaroons, croissants, cookies and bread. The staff was great super friendly and energetic. Also a great location. Just up the street are many shops and different food locations.

Let me set the stage. My birthday was on a Tuesday, but the big celebration? Sunday dinner. Friends. Family. A gathering of the finest people in my life. I told my wife, “Please, no grocery store cheesecake this year—get the real deal. A proper New York cheesecake. Go big or go home.” She found a charming bakery in Charlotte. Small business. Local. A $70 New York cheesecake was ordered, along with a $7 slice of Italian Crème Cake for herself. We even pre-tipped $15 because, hey, support small biz, right? Total damage? About $96. We pick it up. The place is cute. We’re excited. Fast forward to that evening: candles lit, “Happy Birthday” sung, the cheesecake sliced ceremoniously. I hand out pieces with pride, ready to bask in creamy glory. But something’s… off. One by one, eyebrows raise. Faces twist. Confused stares bounce around the table like a game of Clue. This wasn’t New York cheesecake. This was… citrus. The unmistakable zing of lemon and orange. A flavor that screams “Florida spring break” more than “Manhattan dessert classic.” I called the bakery—still calm, still hopeful. I asked, “Hey, I think we got the wrong cheesecake. This tastes like lemon and orange, not NY-style.” She replies: “Does it have orange slices in it?” Me: “Actually… yeah. What?” Her response: “That’s our New York cheesecake. We make it with lemon and orange slices.” I paused. Internally, the needle scratched across the record. This wasn’t a mix-up. This was their intentional version of a “New York cheesecake.” Reinvented. Redefined. Citrus-fied. A bold choice, sure—but also, absolutely not what anyone would expect when ordering a NY cheesecake. We returned to the bakery—still calm, still polite—to see if they’d make it right. Nope. “Email the company,” they said. No refund, no exchange, no effort. Just a shrug and “sorry.” At this point, it wasn’t even about the cake. It was about principle. It was about justice. It was about warning future generations of this culinary bait-and-switch. Let me be clear: lemon and orange slices have no place in a New York cheesecake. That’s not an opinion. That’s dessert law. Ask anyone—your grandma, a pastry chef, a man on the street. NY cheesecake is rich, creamy, vanilla-forward, maybe with a graham cracker crust. That’s it. Not a citrus fruit in sight. We ended up favoring a $10 Harris Teeter gluten-free cheesecake sampler over this $70 boutique disappointment. And honestly? That store-bought cheesecake won the popular vote. By a landslide. So here’s my suggestion to the bakery: 1. Call your cake what it is—Lemon Citrus Cheesecake. 2. Don’t gaslight your customers. When someone orders a classic dessert, then politely calls to ask why it tastes like a citrus grove, the answer shouldn’t be a casual “That’s how we make it.” 3. Consider that some people have citrus allergies and you’ve made no effort to disclose this bold creative decision. I hate leaving 1-star reviews, actually this is my first ever, but I felt it was my duty. For the next unsuspecting soul who just wants a real birthday cheesecake without a splash of scandal.

Everything we got was amazing! They even toasted part of our order and included cream cheese and butter. The patio area outside had some nicely shaded seating, so it’s a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Everyone inside was very friendly and helpful.

We stopped by the bakery last night after dinner on a whim, thanks to a TikTok video that made everything look irresistible. It was about 8 PM, so the selection was a bit limited compared to what they likely offer during the day, but wow—what we did try was incredible! I’m kicking myself for not discovering this place sooner (and my pants aren’t thrilled about it either). The bakery itself is cozy—tiny, even. Be prepared to rub shoulders (literally) with your fellow dessert enthusiasts. The staff was plentiful and efficient, keeping things moving quickly, but the pace did make me feel a little rushed—this isn’t the spot for leisurely browsing. Now, for the sweets: •   Chocolate cake: 10/10, absolute perfection! Rich, moist, and indulgent. •   Key lime pie: Another 10/10—just the right balance of tart and sweet. Chef’s kiss! •   Lobster claw: Good, but not quite our favorite. The cream filling was divine, but the pastry wasn’t quite to our taste (though we think it’s just how they’re supposed to be). •   Rainbow Neapolitan cookie: A delightful standout—flavorful and fun! •   Lemon bar: TBD, as my wife hasn’t tried it yet. •   Cream horn: We only sampled the filling so far, and it’s fantastic. We’re saving the rest for later. This bakery is an absolute gem, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of their offerings. To those about to nosh, we salute you!

Villani’s is the type of place that deserves a sixth star. Was visiting Charlotte and randomly visited based on proximity to downtown and ratings. First impression, there is a small parking lot, hooray! Was already sold. Entered the smallish building to find one of the most beautiful selections of Italian//NY/ with a touch of southern pastries. There was more than ample staff on the busy Saturday morning that were so patient and helpful while I contemplated all my selections. Left with macarons, cake slice, biscuit, lobster tails, sfogliatella, and a large coffee for under $40. Although I live about 90miles away, I’m already contemplating ordering holiday desserts. This bakery is the real deal, I would be here a ridiculous amount if I lived nearby. Just go.

My husband and I stopped by Swirl in Charlotte, and it was absolutely worth the visit! We both ordered the brownie cookie with vanilla ice cream, and it was decadent in the best way — warm, rich, and perfectly fudgy cookie paired with creamy, smooth vanilla ice cream. The flavors balanced beautifully without being overly sweet, and the toppings added just the right finishing touch. If you’re craving a truly indulgent dessert or just want a cute spot to treat yourself, Swirl is a must-try. We will definitely be back to try more cookie creations!

Looking for a cool dessert bar? This is the place to go. The toppings are plenty. The names of the desserts are cool too. I got a milkshake called “Bad decision” it’s so good. Then I added a Unicorn Farts cupcake. Perfect nightcap.

Was craving sweets and decided to try this place. However, I didn’t mean THAT sweet. The desserts are made to order, which is unique. If you love SUPER sweet then this is the place for you. I ordered the Unicorn Fart and the Cleo. They looked amazing! The icing was too sweet but the cupcake was really moist. The star of the show for me was the bathroom. It was covered in cereal bowls and the wall had backwards writing. That way when you took a mirror selfie the words would show. GENIUS IDEA!!! 💡 Oh and the customer service was the bare minimum , she was robotic and lacked customer service personality. I would definitely come back for the bathroom again😂.

I’ll start off with the coffee is amazing! I ordered the 20oz iced caramel macchiato. I love matcha and they had a few different matcha options that I’d love to try in the future. I also ordered the spinach & cheese danish. They serve it warm and it tastes very good but it’s kind of small in comparison to other spinach danishes that I’ve had, and it costs more. I also ordered a lemon macaron. Pretty large for a macaron! I love the texture but it was too tart. Not a huge fan of the flavor but I’m sure the other macarons are good. And they have a large variety to include pistachio, red velvet, and earl grey. Parking is very difficult. I drove around multiple times and to even park in their lot is hard because it is so tiny. And I paid $17 for a coffee, danish, and macaron which really should’ve been a few dollars less.

French-Asian Bakery Heaven! 🥐✨ Okay wow — this place totally blew us away. It’s like a dream combo of French and Asian flavors, and we wanted to try everything on the menu. 📍 The Place: Super cute and clean, very aesthetic with all the white tones. There’s a cozy spot by the windows that’s perfect if you’re flying solo with a coffee, plus a second floor if it gets busy. Pro tip: maybe avoid sitting in a spot near the microwave — not the best seat in the house. 🍰 The Goods: We tried like 7 different things because... why not? Blueberry Cloud Cake: SO good. Light, fresh, fluffy, not too sweet, and honestly just gorgeous to look at. Pink Bread (not the real name, but you’ll know it when you see it): I loved this one — the filling was super soft and just hit the spot. Also tried: Mango Donut: filled with mango cream — yum. Sweet Frank Roll: a fun little bun with sausage inside — Good! Croque Monsieur: cheesy, warm, and super satisfying. That cheese sauce was chef’s kiss. Blueberry Cream Cheese Bread: decent, but probably my least favorite of the bunch. 👀 The Service: Really friendly and quick! We got our order fast, and everyone was super nice. 🚗 Parking: there is not parking lot, so you’ll need to find street parking or a nearby lot. Would totally go back.

Today I bought 2 almond croissants and a couple of other items. Firstly, the other items I purchased were just fine. They needed to be heated up anyway so I have no complaints. But can I tell you that the almond croissants tasted very much about 2 days old!!! I’ve had day-old bread that was much fresher. These things were NOT fresh and I am super unhappy about it. This place is super cute, with great customer service…but the dry hard pastry should not be a thing. Especially at the price point these items are being sold at. So please do not respond by saying the pastry was fresh…because if these were fresh then there is an even bigger issue at hand, because they were dry and hard. Like all the buttery moisture had just dissipated. Even the almond filling was dry and brittle. Just utterly choke-worthy. Let’s do better yall! And just to see if you guys do better, I will return and purchase the same items. Just giving you guys a heads up because I want to sing your praises…but I will absolutely tell the truth.

Tous Les Jours is always a treat! This time I tried the matcha tea cheesecake and an iced tea- both were delicious. The vibe here is out of this world-cozy, lively, and perfect for catching up with friends or just chilling solo. Always love stopping by whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Tous les Jours located at 4625 Piedmont Row Dr #105, Charlotte, NC 28210, Here’s my review using my 5-star rating system: cleanliness, service, decor, food, and prices. Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean. I give it 1 ☆ Service: The staff were friendly and helpful. I give it 1 ☆ Decor: I loved the decor it had nice sitting areas, so it looked like it was a cool spot to hang out in or meet up with friends or even a small group. The ambiance depends on what customers are there. If you have customers that are going to bring their noisy and rowdy, kids that are going to be running around, then you may not want to stay there and hang out and read a book or work on your computer or bring friends there. So it really depends if you're lucky or not. Food: I bought a Portuguese egg tart, which was crispy, buttery, and sweet. The custard was creamy and not too sweet. The chocolate cream hornet was delicious, the chocolate flavor was on point, and the outside was sugary but not as crispy as I expected. I bought a coffee cake, custard bun and another pastries I haven't tried. I also got a tiramisu latte 😋 So far, what I've tried was delicious. I give it 1☆ Prices: The bill was $23. Prices were expensive, I give it 0 ☆ Final Score: 4 ☆☆☆☆ I would recommend this restaurant to others.

We had a terrible experience with this bakery on July 2nd between 1-4 pm. Our manager was rude and unapologetic. We’ve ordered cakes from here many times and have always had a nice experience. However, this time, they made a huge mistake. They gave us a small cake instead of the large cake we ordered, and they charged us for a medium cake instead of the small cake we received. It’s a 1-hour drive back and forth from our house, and this ruined my daughter’s birthday. The manager refused to admit their mistake and wouldn’t even say their name. We could only reach their extension number, which ended with 0969. We will definitely never buy from this bakery again.

Today, we visited this bakery for the first time, and I must say, I was completely won over by the cleanliness, variety of baked goods, and the cozy atmosphere. On top of that, we absolutely loved the flavors of everything we tried! The Spinach Feta Danish, Sweet Cheese and Blueberry Danish, and the Strawberry Pastry were especially delicious. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, which we appreciated since we’re not fans of overly sugary pastries. The only downside was the lack of high chairs for babies. However, our little one absolutely loved the milk bread, so that made up for it! We’re already looking forward to visiting again and trying more of their treats.

This was my first visit here after my co-worker told me about them. I just had to go. All the items I had were amazing! I like that they don't make their food overly sweet. They are balanced in that especially the coco flan and tiramisu. You can feel the family vibes and mood of caring for their business in the air. The staff is sweet as well as the owner. This place is definitely on my list to return to for baked goods and whoever is reading this should too.

My friend got me a Mocha cake from here for my birthday and it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had hands down. I work at bakery myself so I can be rather picky about my sweets, but I would probably get this exact cake for all my future birthdays. The cake was spongy and insanely moist. The whipped frosting was light, airy, and not too sweet. It was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. I can’t wait to try more from here!

I just had the pleasure of trying Manolo’s for the first time, and it definitely won’t be the last! I was thrilled to discover that they offer vegan gelato cake, so I ordered one for pick up. It was beautifully made, and so delicious my taste buds are in bliss! I can’t wait to try more!

I ordered for a company event at Coca Cola for Hispanic Heritage Month for around 100 people. I worked with Mickey in catering. The food was some of the best desserts and empanadas that I have tasted! Everyone at the event loved the food and the service. Miguel and Mickey were not only friendly but were at every moment ready to help and assist in anyway we needed and went above and beyond. I highly reccomend using their catering service for your next event. There is a reason they are named one of the best bakeries in the COUNTRY! I can't say enough good things!

We’ve ordered cakes from here for many years and stop in often for pan dulce and yummy empanadas. We’ve also preordered tamales for the holidays. Most recently I placed an order to create a dessert table for my daughter’s High School Grad Party. The gentleman I spoke to gave great recommendations, pick up was smooth and pricing was great. Manolos Bakery in Charlotte offers not only the best Hispanic baked treats, but they have incredible and authentic non-bakery related items as well (arepas, empanadas, mini sliders, etc). Manolos provided a variety of delicious food and desert hour d’oeuvres for an office event, and every person in attendance commented on how tasty the food was. Mickey Correa from Manolos took great care of us when ordering, and I’m looking forward to eating more Manolos in the future!

Environment is very clean, staff super nice! The girl who took my order let me try a sample (TWO) usually places don’t let you get more than 1 something so small but very generous to me. Building is nice and OF COURSE ice cream was amazing! Definitely will be back 💖🤍

It was so hard to walk by and not give this place a try—and spoiler alert, I ended up going twice! The first time, I tried the Dunkamoo on a waffle cone (think birthday cake vibes) and it was amazing. The second time, I went for the Vietnamese coffee flavor, which was just as delicious. Both were rich, flavorful, and so satisfying. If you’re in the Uptown Charlotte area, this is the perfect spot to grab a sweet treat you won’t regret it!

Best ice cream I’ve had hands down and I’ve had ice cream across the globe. It’s so creamy and the perfect temperature! They didn’t have butter pecan but the strawberry cheesecake was amazing.

My husband and I are from out of town and stumbled upon this cute little creamery! The service was great, the guy at the counter was super friendly. This was easily some of the best ice cream we have both had. Some of the flavors are very out of the box and different but we both found something we liked!

Got the honey lavender and guava flavors. Honey lavender was ok but a little bit icy. I thought it was honey comb but it had no taste. Lavender flavor is not overwhelming but there are no honey notes. Guava had an excellent texture. Super creamy and no way to tell it was actually a vegan flavor. The flavor notes were also pretty good, even if I thought it was not as guava forward as I wanted.

5/5 The oreo obsessor in me was so excited to try Golden Cow's infamous Salted Oreo flavor. At first, I was skeptical. Now I get it - OMG it was so good! Ended up buying a sticker to commemorate the experience. A must have for all tourists who love milk's favorite cookie.

Been here several times over the years, not a huge fan of the sushi because it's a larger bite. The crab dip with wontons is good. Had burgers this time and they were great. Service was great too. They are renovating and we sat outside on a nice evening.

The food was great and the vibe was awesome! Service communication could have been better. I ordered a beer when the entree arrived at the table and received it when I was finished. Although I was told it was a technical issue because they were switching kegs I had no idea because that wasn’t communicated. Overall good experience and would recommend to others!

Everything was delicious and prepared with high quality, including the hand crafted cocktails. The service was also excellent! Our waitress was very attentive, polite, and answered all of our questions. The lobster and crab spring rolls are a must get!

Cowfish is always excellent and somewhat of a hidden gem tucked away in a small shopping court next to SouthPark Mall. If you can't decide between burgers or sushi for dinner or lunch....Well this place has both! My burger was fantastic (The Local Yokel). I ate half of it and the next day reheated it, it was just as good as it was the day before. The sweet potato fries complimented it well. I met an extremely nice gentleman at the neighboring table and his name was Osiris (probably spelling it wrong), But he got onion rings and a few other great looking items. His onion rings were so huge I had to ask him about them and if they were tasty. He said they were really good. We struck up a conversation about other things, mainly the food, But he ended up paying for our meal and I was just shocked. A random act of kindness from a complete stranger. It goes to show if you treat everybody with kindness you never know how that is going to be paid forward. He was such a sweet man, I wish I had gotten his full name. But that was extremely nice of him to do. My boss enjoyed his meal which was the bento box with a combination of cheeseburger and California roll, edamame etc. I wanted my boss to try this place and I'm hoping he will ask to go back again. As a caregiver one of my jobs is to take my boss wherever he wants to go to eat and he likes trying different places. He was very happy with cowfish, they don't disappoint! I shall return!

Today we went here for the first time because our friend recommended it. We loved it! Especially the deliverance roll(very special), the kid loved the calamari and fusion bento box 🍱 The only thing we didn’t expect was we went on a Wednesday night, we waited for 50 minutes for our orders to come out, the kids were getting impatient because it passed the bed time. I guess there’s a lot of takeout because the restaurant was not very busy at the time. So be mindful to calculate in some wait time if you are out with little ones.

We absolutely adore The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar in SouthPark! 🚗 Our family travels often, and finding a spot that accommodates our gluten-free needs and welcomes our pup is a rare gem. It was our first visit for a birthday celebration. Reservation was at 445pm, which is before Valet is open. We parked in Fifth Third parking garage and walked to restaurant (It cost $5 to park as long as you have restaurant validate your parking ticket). We were seated at a table in the corner of the restaurant that was thoughtfully sprinkled with birthday glitter and a handwritten birthday greeting. Our appetizer, dinners and birthday desserts were incredible!! We enjoyed every single bite. We appreciate an early start to dinner...less people, less noise and we had great service. Also, we were happy to walk a block back to our car after a very satisfying, filling meal. I'd recommend The Capital Grille.

I came to The Capital Grille for my birthday dinner and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned, hitting all the right notes. The atmosphere has a classic steakhouse vibe with rich wood accents and tasteful décor — very traditional and cozy. Our waitress was attentive and made the experience even better. Overall, a great spot for a special occasion!

We reserved this restaurant for our anniversary. Due to construction on the street, and its downtown location, we elected to valet ($11). The restaurant was huge and the atmosphere really nice. Our waitress was very attentive and the front of the house manager came over to ask how we were doing. I ordered a passion fruit mojito that was delicious. I chose the scallops and lobster risotto. It was well seasoned and very delicious. My husband ordered the filet mignon. He asked for steak sauce before taking a bite, but afterwards told the waitress he didn't want it. It cut like butter he said and was seasoned too good to add the steak sauce. The restaurant presented me with a rose, gave us a nice card, as well as two desserts, a brulee cheesecake and flourless chocolate expresso cake. The menu items are expensive, although due to the quality of the food its worth it. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return again for lunch.

Our server tonight was Adam. Adam was so sweet, attentive, and considerate. My family and I were visiting from Maryland and decided to eat at this beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting North Carolina. I will be sure to visit again when we are in town.

I came here for a birthday celebration. I absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere inside. Our waiter, Stanton, was kind and helpful. He suggested wonderful food recommendations. I settled for the lamb chops and opted to add a lobster tail. It was all savory, tender and delicious. I’ve also been to Capital grille during lunch time. The experience was amazing at lunch as well. I will be dining her often.

I have always had a great experience at the Capital Grille in Houston. Charlotte was the complete opposite the filets were just mediocre my boyfriend almost choked on his NY strip because there was so much grissle. And the waiter was creepy. We had nice plans for a great evening and when I went to look back on it the waiter took a picture of himself with our phones. What a creep.

The rooftop vibes are amazing, and it’s such a great spot to relax with a drink. I had an espresso martini, and it was one of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a stop whether you’re coming for dinner or just drinks with a view.

Such a beautiful view and the presentation of the food was to die for. Everything on the menu looked delicious. The staff was very professional and the atmosphere was very beautiful. Unfortunately due to weather we weren’t able to sit on the patio outside, but inside was still very nice.

Only issue was that my husband’s steak came back very well done when he asked for medium well due to the kitchen was closing so they were rushing. The manager handled the situation for us. Other than that the food, drinks and service were great! Forgot our server name but she was amazing with the drink suggestions!

Hosted a corporate dinner at the Fahrenheit Charlotte in their private dining room. The pre-event planning was professionally coordinated with an emphasis on my guests with specific dietary requirements. The onsite team was gracious and friendly. The room was set exactly as expected and their AV equipment worked perfectly. The event was a huge success thanks to the great team effort at Fahrenheit. I would strongly recommend this venue to all my fellow planners!

We liked the food, the vibe & everything. Great views from the roof top. They provided so many guidelines around the dressing but I saw many who didn’t follow it at all. The service was not upto the mark. It was not bad!

First time in a rooftop restaurant and we had a blast. We celebrated my daughter's 17 birthday. We arrived early, bit We didn't have to wait too long to be seated, and we actually were lucky because they gave us a table outside. Emma, the waitress, was very friendly, polite and made sure we were having a great time. We liked that we could stand up and take pictures in the balcony, or go to the fireplace and sit down there and then come back to the table. The food was delicious and the price was as you would expect in a place like this. Definitely will consider to comeback.

My first time and it did not disappoint. Service was wonderful and intentional. I appreciate that the server had knowledge of the menu to make relevant suggestions. First visit today and we had breakfast for dinner. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. The western omelette was perfectly cooked with plenty of ham and cheese. The homemade biscuit was served piping hot. The star of the meal was the grits. They were creamy and a great portion came with my meal.

My server was nice, the atmosphere was th he atmosphere of a diner. But the food.. it's a different story. My daughter got the Fish and Shrimp w/ fried. I got 10 CT wings/ fries. My daughter enjoyed her S&F but didn't care for the fries.I was so disappointed with my meal (10ct Garlic Teriyaki wings)$$ The wings tasted like they were poured out of a bag, maybe washed, and if so, barely. Dipped in oil, sprayed with some watered down Teriyaki glaze and the garlic skipped completely. I was asked what kind of sauce i wanted, I asked for ranch but got.... well I'm not sure what it was that i got. If I ever go there again it will only be for the Chocolate Cake, which was very good. I didn't much care for the fries either.

We took a step back into the 50s. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. We got the best food ever. In fact one of our party members is the most pickiest person ever and she gave the place her blessing. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious, their fries were seasoned well,one of our group members ordered fish and said that it was delicious as well. Not a single complaint, it was fast and reasonably priced.

We’re are here visiting for a concert over the weekend from Tennessee and decided to try this place and we are so happy we did because this is by far one of the best restaurants we have tried in a long time. The food is packed with flavor and the portions you get are amazing! Our waitress Kei was nothing but amazing she stood on business she is constantly moving and helping out all of the customers!! After a night of meeting up with family, we walked to Midnight Diner for a quick bite. I was staying at the Moxy which is right next to the restaurant. There was a small wait to get in, but the food made it all worth it.

Always good dining! Very friendly and attentive staff in a nice setting. A great stop when in town. All dishes we have tried are delicious and their baby back ribs are very tender and flavorful. Their boulevardier cocktail is second to none! Save room for the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream for dessert. Ample seating indoors and outdoors. Parking on premises. Reservations are advised. This place was packed on a Friday night. We waited about 30 minutes to get a table. It seems like a popular neighborhood restaurant. The patrons were all pretty dressed up (country club vibes). The food and service were good. We had a shrimp appetizer and I had the bistro chicken. Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Absolutely Incredible Dining Experience – 10/10 I’m currently in town on a work trip, and on my first night here, we decided to dine at BrickTop’s—and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and upscale without being pretentious. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between relaxed and refined, making it ideal for both business dinners and casual outings. Now let’s talk about the food—honestly, I’m not sure I can do it justice with words. It was beyond amazing. We started with a selection of appetizers: the deviled eggs with sugar bacon, Shanghai shrimp, and crispy calamari. Each one was exceptionally flavorful, perfectly cooked, and thoughtfully plated. It’s rare to find a place where every single appetizer is a hit, but BrickTop’s delivered across the board. For my entrée, I had the Ahi tuna steak. It was absolutely outstanding—fresh, expertly seared, and bursting with flavor in every bite. You could tell the quality of the ingredients was top-notch and treated with care. I already plan to return before I leave to try their BBQ ribs and a few of their sides. Based on my first visit, I have no doubt they’ll be just as impressive. BrickTop’s has definitely earned my highest recommendation. If you're in the area and appreciate quality food, attentive service, and a great atmosphere, this is the place to go. 10/10 experience.

BrickTop’s is officially one of my new favorite dinner spots! The ribeye was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection, but the real standout was the prime rib — tender, high-quality, and packed with rich flavor. The only small downside was the au jus, which tasted a bit too processed for such a great cut. The Chicken Milanese was another highlight — the crispy Parmesan crust was absolutely delicious, and the creamy fettuccine on the side was just right. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Great food, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

This visit was my second time eating at this restaurant, but my first time doing a review about it. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted warmly and professionally by the hostess. The decor isn't bad; however, it isn't something that you'd be in awe of. It was average. I did like how the staff (male & female) were all dressed in black, white shirts and neckties. It did not take long for them to seat me, and that could be due to having made a reservation. Once I was seated, the server, whose name I can't recall, came to the table, introduced himself in a very professional manner, and took my order. I ordered their Caesar Salad, Atlantic Salmon with creamy whipped potatoes, a side of Sautéed Corn, and Warm Bread Pudding for dessert. I enjoyed everything that I ordered. The food wasn't awe-inspiring; however, it was tasty and seasoned to my liking. If you haven't eaten at this establishment, I recommend you do so. I do want to point out that parking is almost disastrous. You will more than likely have to park away from the restaurant in the parking lot and walk to it. I recommend you arrive maybe 15-20 minutes early to find a decent parking spot.

I give this place five stars over Capital grille which is another swanky restaurant the deviled eggs were amazingly cooked to perfection the coffee which is a deal breaker for me was one of the best brews I've had in quite some time

I love the vibe of this restaurant, and the fact that it's open 24 hours. The food is great, too (even though it's a lot of carbs/sugar). We had the chicken & waffles, the shrimp & grits, and a biscuit sandwich. Honestly, I've never fully appreciated chicken & waffles, because it seems to dry for me, but it seemed good as far as chicken & waffles go (the dish seems meant to be dry, so we only get them to experience how a new place does them for comparison). The chicken & grits were great, and will probably be my go-to in the future. The biscuit was light and buttery (definitely not dry like the chicken and waffles). As a side note, they don't take Apple Pay or other tap payment methods. So make sure you have cash or a card before going. Maybe chalk that up to a more authentic (rather than modern) experience in a classic diner. Next time I'm downtown and hungry after midnight, I'm definitely heading back here. Great place overall.

Andrea was our server and all I can say is wow!!! What a very well mannered young man! I got the California burger with fries and my husband got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and fruit we got a strawberry cheesecake for dessert and all I can say is the food was incredible. One of the freshest burgers I’ve had in a very long time the beef you could tell was locally sourced and very fresh the food all around was wonderful the atmosphere was great it was quiet but we came during hours right before dinner rush. This dinner is open 24 hours the staff was kind and the building was clean. What a great experience.

I was out with my girlfriend! I don’t know why but on a Saturday night, half of the bars & clubs were closed in uptown! ?? We got one drink and decided to get some food. Love that this place is open 24/7. For it being really late, the employees were in a great mood. Our waitress, African American woman, she was also a bartender. Soo nice. I should’ve gotten her name for this review. I’d definitely come back. They also have a lot of options on the menu. From wings to omelettes to spaghetti lol.

I was in Charlotte for a show with a few of my clients (Roshon Fegan, Matthew Finley and Aaryn Doyle) who came in from LA and Canada. I wanted to give them a good southern experience and the Red Eye did not disappoint. Our waitress Nicole recognized my clients and had a great moment with us. The staff were amazing and respectful of our space and we made sure to do pictures after our meal. The food was excellent and the vibe was what we needed at the time.

The place has a nice decoration and the menu has a lot of options. Meanwhile we waited 15 min to be seated, 40 min to have a server coming to our table and more 40 min to have our omelettes. The serves are not very friendly though. Try don’t use the restroom, because it’s disgusting! The price is OK, but you need to count with the parking that is around $20 (in a Sunday).

Came in on a Thursday night right at dinner. Had to wait maybe 15min for a table. They have a great selection of beer on tap and fully stocked bar. All the food came out quickly. The chicken wings were cooked prefect. The Ruben was very good too. Service was delightful, I would say worth a try.

Went to Duckworth’s tonight after several locals told me it was a good place to eat. I sat at the bar (with more TV screens in one room then I think I’ve ever seen, but they were, oddly, not in the least distracting), and ordered a local Charlotte beer (Better Days Pale Ale- delicious, floral, aromatic and crisp). The staff were wonderful. They were all incredibly attentive, polite, never hovering, but always checked in. They served me quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I was impressed with their overall attitude, attention, and friendliness. For food I ordered an 8oz center cut sirloin, med-rare. The entrees come with two sides and garlic bread, so I chose tater tots, and a salad with ranch dressing. The side salad was fresh, cold and crisp. It included red onion slices, which I love. The dressing was very good - a classic, thick and flavorful ranch (not the watery, thin and light flavor kind that some places have). The tater tots were absolutely fantastic. Golden crispy outside, and soft, almost melt in your mouth inside. They didn’t taste like they were previously frozen, and tasted fresh and delicious. I could have eaten those all night. The steak, however, was disappointing. The cut of meat was good quality, and the char-grilled style was smoky and flavorful. It was perfectly seasoned. But it wasn’t cooked properly and was totally dry. Now, having grilled steaks and a substantial amount of meat in my life, I know that grilled meats are tricky. They are hard to get right and easy to mess up. A second too long and it’s dry as cardboard. It wasn’t that bad, but as I ordered medium rare, I felt I should have ordered rare instead. The one saving grace to the meat was that it was served with a finger-licking BBQ sauce that I thought was excellent. Not too smoky, not too sweet, not too savory. Truly fantastic BBQ sauce. Overall, I had a nice time by myself, and enjoyed the experience. Next time, I’ll order the Carolina BBQ Plate and will probably rave about it.

One of the last people in by accident, (visiting from California) I run restaurants…. Sean the tender of the bar was more than amazing, food was pipping hot, tatot tots were crispy and fresh—- at the end of the night! All in all just an amazing experience for my sister and I… 10 outta 10 highly recommend!

Was in town for the Dolphins Panthers game. Stopped in for a burger and a cocktail. The burger was pretty good. Bartenders were cool too. Solid place. Lots of beers and TV’s

Service was absolutely terrible and food was not great either. Our server, Khadija, didn't greet us until 10 minutes after we sat and said she'd be right with us after dropping off a check. We watched her for another 10 minutes servicing other tables before she finally came back. We literally didn't even have water yet after 20 minutes. We ordered drinks and food all at once because of her. She got water and our drinks 10 minutes later, and our beers were not cold, like they'd been sitting at the expo for quite a bit. We got our food 30 minutes after ordering. Mind you, this was flatbreads, a Philly, and a personal pizza. Things that take 10 minutes max. The restaurant was in no way slammed either, with numerous empty tables. The flatbreads didn't taste great and looked worse. Needed a lot more cheese and the chicken was just lumped in the center. The centers were all flimsy and soft and the crust was hard. It was more like a big cracker rather than a thick flatbread. 6:04 we were sat, 6:26 we ordered, 6:55 was when we got our food, and she dropped the check at 7:10. We had empty water and beers the whole time, too, and were never offered refills. Felt like our server hated us as she was refilling and paying attention to her other tables. I will never go here again.

Okay experience overall. Wings were tasty. Service was meh but they were busy so I suppose thats to be expected? Restaurant is positioned in a convenient place and walkable to many different attractions.

Dined on a relatively slow Sunday night. Drinks and food were great. Highly recommend the Fans Only Cocktail and the BBQ ranch dip was fantastic with my tots. Try the wings! Great appetizer! I always get the cheese steak. It never disappoints. Our server Gabby was a delight.

Wow! We have been to Ilios Noche a couple times and every time has been excellent. Kam (Kambridge) has been our waiter both times and has treated us like family both times. What an incredible guy who elevates the experience to the next level with his kindness. Each time we have dined here, the food has been excellent. The lamb shank, Greek ribs, Calabrese campanella have all been great meals and we highly recommend them. The breads and desserts are worth a trip here by themselves.

Came on a Friday night with some family! Kenia was exceptional. Really appreciate the people that come around and fill your water glass up. The deserts were to die for!! 100% recommend reservations we made ours a week in advance.

If you are looking for decent fine dining restaurant serving delicious Greek food, then llios Noche is the place. Delicious!! The lamb burger is to die for and the and grilled octopus was by far the best. Prices are reasonable and it offers a modern, vibrant ambiance. Oh and don’t forget the desert! Ots sharable and also delicious. Last, It’s a friendly and attentive staff - our waitress has been there for 10 years.

Food was meh but the service was stellar. The ambience wasn’t all that inviting as well. They really need to step up to make the food more appealing and delectable.

This is our second visit - service was exceptional from all staff that we encountered we were greeted as soon as we entered the door treated with a smile and felt very welcome it's a very nice restaurant. My wife had the garganelli marinated chicken, baby spinach, and tomato cream over pasta she said it was very good this time she had the chicken lemonata which was also very good. I had the margarita pizza it's more of a flatbread it wasn't to my liking it's okay in my opinion it's just not a traditional pizza. We both had the mesclun salad, it was very good. This is definitely go back restaurant you will not get a bad meal here I just can't recommend the pizza.

Trio is a hidden gem! It’s one of those places that you go to all the time and then one day you try a new place and then Charlotte grows with new restaurants and you forget your old friend. We sauntered in here for the the first time in years and it’s exactly like it was 25 years ago. Food is awesome, service is friendly and timely and the prices are still great too. It’s a place where the servers know the regulars orders. It’s a place where you can count on it to be exactly the way you remember it. Why is that so important? Because in a world that’s rapidly changing and a town that looks nothing like it did 30 years ago, sometimes it’s crucial to have one place where you know the Cobb salad, fried chicken, almond basket dessert, muligatawny soup and prime rib are going to be steady and delicious. $7 bucks for a decent pour of decent wine? Yep. Warm bread with real butter? That’s right! Trio is a warm hug. A nostalgic delight that reminds you all is still well in the world. Just brought my 17 year old daughter here and she said “why have we been sleeping on this sweet tea and platter of chicken fingers?” Thats teenager for “why haven’t we been here in awhile?” The pizzas are great too. Do yourself a favor and go swim in the safe waters of Trio. I know my parents are toasting our return from Heaven. They loved it too. The bar is full of friendly strangers and the booths are always welcoming. Get over to Trio! (I should have taken more pics but trust me)! Also who still serves baked Alaska? That’s right…TRIO!

Have been coming here for years and it is always awesome! Love their pasta dishes and brunch. The french onion soup is always very good too.

Stopped in for a late weekend lunch. The food and the service were outstanding 👌🏾. I even had dessert: my favorite Creme Brulee. The restaurant was not busy but had a steady pace of customers. Everyone at my table thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and the restaurant was very clean. I also asked a few other guests about their food choices, and each person rated their dishes 8 and above! I have never asked other guests about their choices, but because of our great experience, I decided to ask others. This is a great spot for lunch and dinner, and I was told Sunday Brunch was even better! I highly recommend this spot, and I will definitely come back.

This was a great experience. Family friendly place. You can actually have a conversation without trying to yell over loud music. The food was delicious! We had chicken scaloppini, shrimp and scallops with angel hair pasta and cheese pizza! Everything cooked with love and arrived hot and fresh. Great experience here! The food was delicious and the service was top notch. I had the wood fired pesto bread and three cheese tortellini with chicken then finished with the chocolate silk pie. Everything was great.

My daughter had a live baby cockroach crawling in her food.this was sooo disgusting I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The waitress tried to offer us something else on the menu to replace the infested entree like that was normal. DEhec should be there to investigate

This was an impromptu late lunch at Essex since we couldn’t get into any other spots without a reservation, and Essex did not disappoint! We were greeted by Reggie at the door, who was so pleasant and welcoming—definitely gave me nostalgic vibes from my days of wanting to move to Charlotte. Our waitress, Toni, was incredibly patient, attentive, and professional. We started with the hummus and the bang bang grouper entrée. I went with the grilled salmon entrée, which came with creamy tomato butter, grilled broccolini, green garbanzo beans, roasted almonds, and feta. Every bite was perfectly balanced, and I enjoyed every dish. The restaurant was clean and presentable, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped by for lunch on a week day. It wasn’t too busy. Service was fast. Can’t remember what I ordered, Philly sandwich, it was spicy and really good. Enjoyed my food. I was seated inside and ambience was quiet, maybe due to timing and day of week. Overall pleasant experience and I will be back.

First time at Essex Bar and I was pleased. We were seated right away which was a plus for a Saturday evening. The food was very tasty and the waitress made great suggestions. My only issue with this Bar was they didn’t give enough food. I ordered shrimp and grits and it wasn’t much at all. The music was on point. Overall 8/10 and definitely return.

I ate here about 3 weeks ago. The lamb chops were delicious. I should have posted sooner so I could give a better review, but I enjoyed my meal. There was an event somewhere else in Charlotte this same night so the restaurant was not full, which I didn’t mind at all. I’d definitely return.

Presentation and Taste: 10/10. The ambience was perfect and warm for a cold night! Get the flat bread first- the sauce was so delicious and the bread was baked perfectly- not a burnt edge in sight. The lamb had the perfect texture and we got it both medium and well done. The drink was an old fashion- very strong! Get an appetizer if you’re going to drink so you can walk straight leaving the restaurant 😂. We are definitely going back!! Enjoy

Was in town this week and stopped in twice for the same dinner entree. The brussel sprout salad was so good. Highly recommend it. Service was great and so were the appetizers and atmosphere. I’ll be back next time I’m in town!

Food was amazing, we got the salmon (great) and the Mediterranean chicken (incredible!). Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, but most importantly, our waiter Denice provided impeccable service, made us laugh, and added to the dining experience. Would 100% return here.

Best ramen I've had in a long time! Edamame was perfect, mushroom gyoza was stupid good, salmon sushi was extremely fresh, beet salad with umeboshi dressing was bright and beautiful, duck buns were fantastic, and ramen was astounding! They have sake flights! With description cards for each sake! New favorite place in Charlotte!!!

As an asian, the ramen was not as flavorful as it could’ve been. My cousin and I went and we both agreed. You can get better quality ramen elsewhere like Jinya. The gyoza and karaage were great though!

We ate here while visiting Charlotte. It is located in a fun area right off the rail trail that starts in Uptown Charlotte. It’s a small trendy space with limited seating and communal tables. There’s outdoor seating available in the summer & when the weather is good. Service was quick & friendly. We tried a bunch of stuff - everything was good. Our favorite was the pork belly buns. There’s a parking structure right behind the restaurant.

Great location, right off the train station. Staff is fabulous. Good food. The restaurant itself is a bit on the smaller/crammed side. I personally enjoy that for a ramen shop, but I know it's not to everyone's likings. Ramen is tasty and flavorful with great ingredients.

The appetizers were good and the ramen was really flavorful. They have really elevated ramen. The prices are bit high compared to some places, but the quality is not too bad. The broth can be a bit fatty and the portion can be a lot for some. The toppings were good and the noodles were not too soggy and was still a bit chewy. Not as spicy as I thought it was going to be.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting! Seating is pretty limited. Food was prepared and served quickly though I'd like to note that they do add a service charge on your bill for dining in ($8 and some change in my case). I got two sake drinks and two ramen bowls with my friend which ended up coming to $69 with a reasonable tip.

My sons first ramen experience was here, and it was fantastic. My husband really wanted tea which they had on the menu but did not have. Which was a bummer.

🍽️ Before I mention the negative, I do want to say the food was great, our server was very attentive, and the vibe is fun! It's our second time here and we will probably go back; although this time the tres leches kind of tasted like a refrigerator - which I did mention to the server. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Okay, that being said... The bathroom was absolutely gross. 🤢 The smell was like stale urine, there were paper towels overflowing as well as on the floor. Honestly if I would have seen the bathroom before I ate I may not have stayed. The chair rail was sticky with dust, so it probably wasn't a one-off. The back hall looks like a storage closet. No I did not mention this to management because at that point the meal was over and my party was leaving. I hope management sees this and takes a good couple hours to clean up the back hall as well as the bathrooms, especially the left one that we used. We love supporting local businesses, and hope this will be taken to heart.

Amazing food, amazing quality, amazing service, and amazing variety! The chicken has great wood-fired flavor and everything is always hot and fresh. I love there is something for the whole family. Great lunch menu prices that will keep you coming back. Also really nice variety of vegan foods. A lot of seating, but it does get very busy and a bit loud. Regardless the atmosphere is wonderful and the team working is always phenomenal. If you're on the fence, just give it a try! Ordered lamb burger, chicken with the side of beans and chips, mountain trout, quinoa avocado, brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, chicken skewers, and wood-fired octopus - which was cooked perfectly. Was also given their strawberry shortcake for my birthday and it was incredible! I'd recommend any of the above dishes and I'm sure the rest are great too.

Our first time at Kid Cashew. We learned of this place as it was featured on the CLT Burger Week page. Too bad we missed it as our burger week stop, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Happy Hour specials. Our table having two shareables, a beer, a margarita, and a $6 kids meal that includes their drink, our total was $30! The Brussel Sprouts alone are worth another visit. My daughter had the Mac and cheese and chips. The Mac and cheese was pretty good, always nice when it’s not blue box for kids. We’ll definitely be back, as I am excited to bring an appetite and explore the menu. The service was just okay. Not horrible by any means, but not exceptional either. The restaurant inside has a bit of grime just a layer of it, everywhere. It’s a bit of the aesthetic, but I also think it is a bit too authentic, if you know what I mean.

This place is different and delicious. I went with my bookclub for dinner. Kevin was fantastic! He made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing. We mac and cheese, salads, meatballs, gyro, rotisserie chicken, chicken and avocado sandwich. All of the dishes were great. I will definitely go back so I can try more from the menu.

The food was delicious. The spinach and feta dip was everything I imagined. The Big Mac daddy burger and chips were 10/10. My margarita was strong and tasty. Bee was an amazing waitress, very helpful and great personality. My first time and I will definitely be back. The flies were the only negative lol, something the restaurant can’t control. I’ll be eating inside next time.

I was visiting Charlotte from Indiana and heard about Kid Cashew from google. I am so glad I found this spot. To start off, I ordered the wood fired beets, and they were really interesting. They had a beautiful char on them. The combination of the goat cheese, mandarins, beets, and pistachios was unique. The pistachios and the mandarins added a nice sweetness to the dish. I also ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich. It was amazing! The chicken itself had so much flavor because of how it's cooked. The bread is local and very good too. The atmosphere is nice. It's a little noisy but you can still hear your party just fine. The decor didn't make too much sense. It was very quaint, though. I definitely recommend Kid Cashew if you are in the area. My sister and her husband traveled from Raleigh to meet me, and they also loved their food. It's definitely worth it and inexpensive, too.

I am beyond impressed with the food here. This is the first restaurant we visited, where every dish was 10/10. The taste was delicious. The restaurant itself was spotless and cozy. You can make it a romantic or family dinner. The staff was very friendly and tentative. We will definitely be back. Keep up the great work.

Lived this place! Loved the ambiance as well. Our server was amazing! I went for dessert but ended up ordering an appetizer plus dessert. I ordered the Charred Octopus with smashed potatoes. I did like it. However, it lacked seasoning. I added salt 🧂 but it needed more than salt. It needed flavor. I ordered the donut 🍩 and the cheese 🧀 cake 🎂, cheesecake. They were both amazing!! The cheesecake was raspberry flavored and nice and creamy. The donut 🍩 was very fresh. I loved the custard and toffee crumbles on top. Overall, it was a great experience 👍🏾! I will get back!!

We picked the restaurant based on Google reviews and when the Uber dropped us off at the Marriott we were concerned about it being a hotel restaurant. But our concerns were unfounded! Stoke was amazing! We had the deviled eggs, drunken shrimp (keep the sauce when you're done with the shrimp - it's delicious!), cheese and ham, and then had pear salads as our entrees. It was wonderful. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We were full, but not overstuffed and very satisfied. And our server was perfect! Helpful and attentive. We could have hung out with her all evening. Our only disappointment was that we weren't in town longer to come back and try some of the amazing looking dishes like the pork shank.

My experience is probably gonna be a little different from everyone else’s because my wife basically reserved the restaurant for my birthday! The atmosphere was a whole vibe and the service and food was excellent! Highly recommended!

Lunch at Stoke was a pleasant surprise. The wood-fired flatbreads and house-made ricotta were the standouts—fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. The restaurant has a warm, modern aesthetic with an open kitchen so you can see the chefs in action. Staff were friendly and quick to offer recommendations. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. It’s a great place to escape the office crowd and enjoy an elevated but approachable meal.

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Custom Shop! From start to finish, everything was impeccable. Zoe, our bartender and waitress, provided excellent service . We tried a variety of dishes: bruschetta, duck empanadas, pork belly,bass, and the ravioli, and every single item was exquisite. Each dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. We also ended the night with a coffee martini, which was the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable meal. Custom Shop truly delivered a delightful culinary experience. Highly recommend both for the food and the outstanding service!

Amazing experience. Highly recommend if you are looking for a unique dining experience with a curated menu that boost excellent fusion of international flavors with strong execution. Having lived in Chicago and in Europe, this place really impressed me in terms of flavors and execution. The vibe is cool and service is superb. Nice cocktail menu as well. We loved all the dishes we ordered so the recommendation is in no particular order, but in my opinion you must get one of the dishes from the crudo section - we got the shrimp one, which is acidic, refreshing, with some heat and nice touch of crunchy puff rice. Small plate - can’t go wrong with the shishito peppers and fingerlings, both simple dishes but was amazingly well done with nice balance of flavors and addicting sauces that keep you coming back for more spoonfuls. We went with two pastas to share, it was a great decision because we couldn’t pick which pasta was our favorite. The canestri with pork ragu was delicious with the pasta cooked to perfection with a nice pork ragu that’s meaty but not heavy, garlicky and savory, very satiating. The squid ink pasta was absolutely delicious with pasta perfectly prepared that’s tangy and delicious with chorizo and shrimp. We had no room for desert unfortunately. I’m looking forward to coming back next time and trying the rest of the menu!

We sat at the bar and had a lovely experience. The bartender was wonderful - she shared her favorite dishes, and we loved them all, especially the mussels. We felt so welcomed.

Has been, and continues to be my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. The food is always fantastic, the service friendly and top notch (special shout out to the bartender Lily for the flan recommendation!). It gets a bit loud when it's full, but otherwise a pleasant atmosphere. And the wine list is always great. It's hard to beat for the price.

Well, at Customshop, everything is top-notch… both the service and the food. 💛 Last year, I went there for my anniversary with my boyfriend, and it was so special that we decided to make it a tradition. This year, we went back. There was a small mix-up with our order and the food came a bit later, but instead of leaving us frustrated, the team went above and beyond to make it right. The service was exceptional, and when the food arrived… wow. I honestly can’t even put into words how good it was. I’m so grateful to have this gem here in Charlotte. Their dishes are always fresh, made with ingredients from local farms, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about your experience. I’ve already recommended Customshop to friends and will keep doing it forever. Amazing food, amazing people, amazing atmosphere. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Busy so had to wait 30 min. Cute decor and staff were friendly. Took awhile to get our food but again they were very busy. Crepes were good but I had the bruschetta crepe and the basil was too strong so couldn't taste the other ingredients. The Apple Strudel crepe was really good. Will come again to try other options.

Went there today for brunch with my brother and we both loved the food. The place has a French look and it’s very welcoming. The service was great! The crepes are huge and very filling. I also got the waffle for dessert and it was delicious. Can’t go wrong here.

There are pros and cons to this restaurant. The servers are always pleasant. The food (I've only had their breakfast items) is okay. Their water taste extremely unfiltered. Not 100% sure if their eggs are real. Their potatoes are good, you just may have to add a touch of pepper for added flavor. I love their Turkey bacon. Also, their Crepe's are good as well. I think their best sellers are their delicious specialty lattes, cappuccinos and coffee beverages. **Note: Their Crepe station is in the center of the restaurant and not in the back, so you will 100% smell like "cooking smoke" when you leave. Just a heads up if you plan to go somewhere else afterwards.**

This was my first time dining here. The presentation was amazing. However, my waffle was a little doughy. That was the main complaint of our large cycling group. If they could figure out how to cook it a little bit longer, we would all love to order the waffles again. Otherwise, service was great!!

Service was EXCELLENT! Food was awesome! I highly recommend the Maple Crunch cheesecake sweet crepe. It is sooooo good! The mimosa bottle is only $12.99 on SUNDAYS! PERFECT for brunch!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. They're only open for breakfast and brunch/lunch now. We got there around 11 and there was a 25 minute wait for a table. It was crowded, so even when we got a table it was a small square table for 4 people that we squeezed 5 people around. I'm sure it gets cut down on wait times though. I started with a chai latte which was pretty good. It wasn't too sweet which I appreciate. We got a Chipotle chicken crepe and a smoked salmon, egg, and herb goat cheese crepe. Both were very good, but it was my first time trying the smoked salmon and it was amazing. They put herbs in the crepe batter too which really enhances it. We also tried a banana and butterscotch waffle which was pretty good. I actually like their sweet crepes more though. I didn't think the waffle had enough toppings. If you've never been here before, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Delicious menu for both the sweet and savory crepe lover! Each of the sweet ones comes served with a chocolate covered strawberry, which is adorable. The portions are wonderful for the price on everything I've gotten, and the savory crepes are absolutely gigantic! Two meals easily. The coffee drinks are all hand-made and I've never had one be burnt or bitter; they're unique and delicious. Definitely a great brunch place for whatever your rough Friday or Saturday night held, or a cute date spot!

The bakery smelled great, so maybe I ordered wrong. I got the bacon egg and cheese on the butter roll because the sign said that the butter roll was a fan favorite. It looked good but I didn't like any of it. The bacon tasted strange and they left the paper on the cheese, the roll was mid. The service was slow but the girl was friendly enough. I was disappointed overall.

We are so thankful for Sunflour Bakery! For the past 4 years, we’ve ordered a gluten free, vegan cake due to wheat and egg allergies for our daughter, and they always turn out so delicious and beautiful. This year was our favorite! Having a local shop able to accommodate this request is SO amazing to us!

Place is super cute!! Like the decorations, music, and the way the pastries are displayed. I got a carrot muffin and a dirty mocha. Muffin is delicious, but the coffee was less mocha than I expected, but still good! The man that took my order wasn’t very nice, as he didn’t even greet me, answer when I said thank you, and just sort of ignored me. They seemed a bit busy, so I can understand a bit. When I got to my table, the seat was covered in crumbs. Not a big deal to me personally, but could be to some people. Overall, food and atmosphere was great! But customer service and cleanliness was debatable, so maybe I’ll try another location!

Beware. Ordered a 12oz apple cider, that was already in a cooler, but they filled the cup halfway with ice and charged me $5.25! Now I remember why we stopped coming here.

Stopped at the Elizabeth Sunflour location before a road trip for a quick breakfast. They had so many fresh pastry options and their staff was very nice and helpful. I was unsure of what drink I wanted and Maleehah took the time to explain what they had and convinced me to try their season lavender syrup in a latte. It was so good and I appreciate her taking her time. Will be back soon!

I strongly dislike places that prompt you to tip but don't bring your food out, clean it up, or check in on you. Just pay your workers fairly dude and don't rely on customers. They throw your stuff on the counter by the window and you don't know when your specific order is ready for pick up (no buzzers or name calling). The food was delicious though and I like the concept of the bodega/brewery/diner mixed elements. There's board games to play and a nice outdoor patio/outdoor seating (both upstairs and downstairs). The loft is neat. Definitely Charlotte-y character.

Just found out about this hidden gem. Better late than never. I’ve eaten at this place 3x in the last 4 days trying different things on the menu.. Every they recommend was absolutely delicious! Amazing customer service and nice atmosphere.

Common Market in Plaza Midwood is such a fun, eclectic neighborhood spot! They have a fantastic selection of beers, wines, and snacks, especially chips from all over. The sandwiches are fresh and packed with flavor, making it a great place for a quick lunch or a casual bite with friends. The laid-back vibe, quirky décor, and friendly staff make it a must-stop in Plaza Midwood.

I've always heard of this place but never actually visited. We had parked right in front of this location, so as we decided to head home, we wanted to stop in and see what the place was all about. It's like a continence store as soon as you walk in, but the further you walk in, they have a bar with seating and then a section selling wines, beers, seltzers, and regular sodas to coffees and anything else you may find at a gas station. Outside of the store, they have an open patio with plenty of seating. A lot of people go and purchase their beverages and then come outside to sit drink and have a good time. It's a quirky cool place, and I'm all for it. Love the ambiance and concept of it. The employees and everyone were super friendly, and there were no issues at all. I will def be visiting again.

This was a really cool place with a chill vibe. We had sandwiches which were pretty good. They had a little bit of everything and had a really great choice of beverages. The coolers had some great captions which we thought were humorous. The cookies they sell are the bomb! Will def visit again when in Charlotte.

The guy at the front desk with the long curly hair was an absolute pure, amazing human. So friendly and helpful! The deli has done a great job with their fast turnarounds and wait times have dropped dramatically. The atmosphere is amazing with the most fantastic patrons, staff, and retail items.

I love when the food looks exactly like the pictures and that’s what happened here! It was also a plus that it tasted amazing. I called in my order, it was around lunch time so it wasn’t too busy and the employees were personable! I really liked the ambience of this place and have plans to return soon & check out their daily specials - lots of things there that caught my eye for sure!

Absolutely the best boneless wings I have ever had. Wide variety of drinks and other foods. Indoor and outdoor seating and you can seat yourself 😁. Service was a little slow but other than that it’s top notch Fri night material. Thx Brazwell’s for a great experience!

Food was great service was not so good. The chicken sandwich was awesome definitely recommend it. This was at lunch time not busy and we had to remind our waitress several times. Back again for the buffalo chicken sandwich. So good! Cold cold cold bottled beers. Such a good way place for a work day lunch

I barely write reviews for restaurants, my group and I are pretty easy to please. We came here for trivia night and the service was not good, barely was checked on throughout the night. The servers are all talking to each other and vaping in the open. I honestly wouldn’t be as annoyed if the food was good but it wasn’t. My burger was mostly bread and my girlfriend’s fries were not crispy at all and cold.

We had a party of 8. Only 3 orders were correct. No efforts in correctly giving us what we ordered. The server, seemed to have submitted our orders incorrectly. On one order gravy was requested to be omitted on the meat entree. When it was received, gravy was on the dish, it was taken from the table and returned with the same piece of meat, with small gravy portions still present on the dish (as though it was scrapped off). The experience was more of mere disappointment for us. It was as if our presence was uninvited and unwelcomed. No one offered refills on our water, nor any other beverage. Our food was staggered when they brought it out, during about a 15 minutes period. We were visiting from Greenville, SC, Memphis, TN & Greensboro, NC. You don't have to fake the funk, Racism is REAL!

Very nice pub! The atmosphere is very neighborhood friendly place. Staff very pleasant and food is very good. Overall, this is a great spot for a good meal and drink. They have outdoor seating in the front and back, this bar is really spacious. Truly enjoyed myself.

Tasty treat that’s great to have while taking a walk through NoDa! The staff is polite and there’s plenty of options to choose from based on your personal preferences. I’m a dark chocolate guy, so I’m glad they have both milk and dark chocolate options to choose from. Can choose your dip and toppings.

If you enjoy ice cream, sherbert, or gelato, you will love Popbar. I've been here several times, and I'm never disappointed. All of their items are in a popsicle form, so I enjoy how easy you can enjoy it on the go. Also, you can get various toppings on your popsicle. Such a cute place to get a yummy treat.

This was my first time going to Popbar. My friend and I decided to pop in and grab something sweet to snack on. Instead, we tried out their milk shakes. Was greeted with an awesome welcome upon entry and the service was great. The milkshakes were delicious. If I had to complain, it wasn’t enough. ;-)

This is a fun little ice cream pop place in Noda. I saw online that they had vegan options, so was excited to visit. They had one vegan flavor when I went. I got the vegan peanut butter pop with the dark chocolate dip and chopped almond topping. It was so good! My hubby got the same except he got crushed cinnamon pretzels and crushed sugar cone. It was even better than mine!

I literally drive to NODA from Indian Land specifically just to get PopBar!! It is that amazing!!! I am on a mission to try every flavor and combo. I haven’t had a bad one yet. You want a fun frozen treat, anything from PopBar can’t be beat. Go. Now. You can thank me later.

Are these without yeast? Tasted like cake. Heavy heavy smell of “deep fried”. Chocolate donuts had a thin layer of chocolate, plain donuts were literally just a cake with the aftertaste of oil. Size of these donuts also doesn’t make any sense and definitely not like in pictures. $4,5 hot chocolate below mediocre, tasted like vending machine hot chocolate. Watery. Box fell apart by the time dasher delivered them so entire box was already open when he handed it to me. Certainly not the worst I’ve had but below average on all accounts.

We had to stop here for the smell alone. Donuts were made fresh and to order. Totally recommend for a quick bite if you’re craving donuts!

I’m so sad bc the donuts are so good but this was gross. And it doesn’t look like a regular hair strand and my hair is currently a light orange brown 🤢 maybe I’m just picky but just can’t imagine getting another donut from here, what if I didn’t see it!??

This cute walk up window hides a creative factory of flavor. The donuts are freshly made and toppings unique and flavorful. The lemon poppyseed melt in your mouth and leave you wanting more. The other flavors didn't disappoint. Worth a trip to NoDa!

Such good cake donuts. Made fresh. We got one of every flavor and there wasn't one that we didnt like. Great little find. Service was good ordered and was able to walk the block and pick back up.

Donuts are good but the service is horrible. You say good morning they don't say it back. They seem like they hate life there. They don't even say basic things like thank you for coming anything like that they just hand you the box and shut the window.

Soooo many vegan options! I’m not a big sweets person and haven’t had a donut in yeaaarrrsss, but when I was a kid, strawberry frosted was my fav so that’s what I got. Definitely not the fake strawberry stuff I was accustomed to as a youth. My partner got the the blueberry donut, which was delicious as well, but we both preferred strawberry.

We stopped in at 7am when they opened before a long car trip north and are sure glad we did. These are yeasty cake doughnuts that I was bummed to find out did not come out hot at the beginning of the day. Nonetheless, the unique flavors and great consistency made up for it. We got a half dozen donughts, coffee, and a BOX of water for about $26. Definitely not cheap. I was curious about their vegan breakfast sandwich but did not try it. The flavors we got were Vanilla Iced (ghost), Chocolate Sprinkles, Matcha Raspberry, Lemon Poppyseed, Bourbon Maple Cinnamon, and Mango Habanero. Honestly, the chocolate and vanilla were the best but I loved to see a spicy flavor like Mango Habanero. These seem to be the only real fancy doughnuts in South End, so give them a try! They even have dog donuts, which all you dog owners in Charlotte will love...

Daughter brought home a dozen donuts and wow, these are amazing. A variety of flavors and textures and apparently, vegan. I don't know that I've had a vegan donut before but with coffee, these were pretty darned amazing.

Whether you're craving a classic glazed donut or a creative gourmet option, this donut shop is a must-visit for any donut lover in uptown Charlotte, NC. I would recommend to visit the shop during daytime just to make sure you have good options of flavors and donuts are fresh. I went there around evening time so the donuts weren’t that fresh but it still tasted great.

Fluffy, mouth-watering and variety of vegan doughnuts. Each bite was fully of delicious flavor. Plenty of seating and some outside seating. The banana pudding doughnut was the perfect mid-morning treat.

Pepperbox has the best donuts I’ve ever had no debate. They use fresh fruit to make perfectly sweet, deliciously flavorful icings and the breading is the perfect consistency. They also have great baristas and kombucha from a keg which gets bonus points from me. They’re open all day and they’re located in a cool part of town, definitely make a trip in the morning for breakfast or an afternoon snack!

This is a great place to hang out with friends. There's a bar, arcade games, and bowling. Sometimes, they also have shows or other events as well. The food is delicious. I ate it too quickly to take pictures. I had the sliders and mozz balls. The only reason I took a star off is the bar took so long to take our order. Great visit though.

Drive from an hour away, got here at 9:50 and they said kitchen is closed and last call is done at 9:45. We explained that we drive from an hour away and the website does not specify the kitchen closing at 9:45 otherwise we wouldn’t have driven so far. Management stated “doesn’t matter kitchens closed” terrible service.

The food is good, I always get the shrimp which is on point but prices could be a little cheaper. But I absolutely love going here, it's a vibe if you just want to have a good time.

We hosted our fantasy football draft at Queen Park in Charlotte and it was perfect! They have a private room that gave us plenty of space and privacy, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The drink and food packages were a huge plus—everyone stayed happy and well-fed all night. Great atmosphere, great service, and an awesome spot for group events. Highly recommend Queen Park if you’re in Charlotte!

Stopped in on a Saturday after 12 PM for the first time. No hostess and no servers to be found. There was a group setting up for a party in the left side dining area. There were three people at the bar and there were several guests in the game area. The bartender finally saw us and said we could sit at the bar or at a table but we would have to wait to be served. Based on his body language and attitude, we left and went to OMB and were treated mych differently. Definitely won't be going back.

Me and my family had a great time here. Perfect spot for kids and adults. We had cocktails and some bar food which was so delicious especially their chicken wings. I love the Mango Habanero and Thai Chili. The nachos were really good too especially the beef. Everyone enjoyed eating, playing arcade and some bowling too. Highly recommend this place. Staff were nice and service was great.

We love coming to QPS but today was a good day! Our lil guy beat us twice at bowling, big A+ to Eli for great service he was super attentive. And staff who replaced my drink because lil guy ran off and we left drink behind. Thanks for being an awesome neighbor spot…

Pre-ordered my donuts since it was 30 mins from where I live. Only reason why I traveled so far was for the limited addition that is only at selected locations. I get there and I tell the cashier my name and she gave me some valentine box that was probably a dozen with of donuts. I told her I only 3 donuts and this was not mines. I gave her my name again. She couldn't find it or it was given away. She asked what I ordered and made it. I open the box just to see if it was the correct donuts before I left. I waited until I got home to eat one. Why there was no cream in none of my donuts??!!! They poked a hole in the donuts to fill it up no filling and that defeated the whole purpose of the donuts. Pictures attached. They should be ashamed of themselves all 3 donuts.

We put our order in 2weeks ahead for 4 boxes of assorted mini donuts to be picked up on 05-17-2025. We paid ahead of time, and they lost our order! They gave us what they had, but we did not get the assortment we asked for, and we got no apologies! What is the point of ordering ahead of time? We were told that they don’t usually take orders ahead of time. A manager took the order, but he was no longer working there. Bad experience! The photos below tell it all!

We tried Bunny Doughnuts ( a limited time Doughnuts from Krispy Kreme). It was too good. 4/5. Cream filling was awesome. We tried Iced Latte as well. Okayish taste.

Ordered through door dash this morning and whole order was wrong. Ordered a hot latte and it came iced. Ordered the 24 mini donut dots., and 6 regular donuts came . Pay attention people.

Ordered two dozens of donuts from this location and it was delivered via DoorDash received one dozen and never was refunded or compensated for the other. I was directed to call DoorDash even though I paid Krispy Kreme directly. I’ll never spend another dime with this company.

Went in last night to grab my little daughter some doughnuts. I placed the order on the kiosk and walked over where you receive your order. There was no one in the restaurant. The lady did not say hello and just looked at us like she was furious we came in. Grabbed the box and said have a goodnight. She turned away and walked away with the look of hatred. I can honestly say she was the rudest employee I probably have ever encountered. She obviously does not want to be there.

Will the prices to get better? Itwenty $5 for 2 bus loads. Chris mccrane dollars, I mean yes, told me wait, that's totally totally. Outrageous. And that was just on a deal day. So imagine just on a regular day. But you wouldn't like that shut down cooking donuts all day everyday, I didn't want my donuts cold.I wanted me so fresh ones coming off the line hot

Super cute spot for getting work done or a coffee date. Parking lot was open with spots. We ordered the apple braised brisket special sandwich on the big boy loaf sourdough. They make the sourdough in house! The bread alone sets this place apart from all other shops that serve sandwiches. The sandwich was flavorful and the bread added the best texture. We had waited a bit for our sandwich due to kitchen issues but the barista on staff offered us a pastry for the inconvenience. That's good business in my opinion. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped here recently and wow! I absolutely loved this spot. It feels completely off the beaten track, and has this incredible New England feel inside with exposed brick, casual, but functional seating, and just overall awesome layout as atmosphere. Their coffee was fabulous. They serve some delicious looking desserts though had to skip those. The hot breakfast made to order had an incredible aroma. I can't wait to grab food here at some point. The staff was very cool, friendly and polite. They knew their product like you wouldn't believe, and even felt though they were passionate about it. It's certainly not an easy plat to spot from the main street, and don't give up looking. It's there, and brilliant. There is some outdoor seating off the main road and some parking along the side. Overall a very cool spot and a great experience.

Lincoln’s is a cool place. It has a very hip vibe and is a great addition to South End. Their food is super fresh. You can tell they use really good ingredients. The atmosphere is really cool. There is a rustic and cozy vibe to most of the furniture. It is nice that they sell food and drinks to go as well. The location is great.

I've been hearing great things ever since this place opened. We were not satisfied after a recent meal, so wet decided to stop here for some dessert. We got a sweet potato pecan bar and a caramel peanut butter bar. We absolutely loved both of them. It made me want to go try more of the pastries, but I had to cut myself off. They both had unique and delicious flavors. This is a cute little neighborhood hangout. They have coffee, beer, food, random knick knacks. I can definitely see people coming here to work during the day. I've actually been dying to try their sandwiches, so I'll definitely be back soon to try those. This is unique place to check out!

We were recommended this place by a friend and were truly so impressed! It’s a “order at the bar” kind of place so there is no need for reservations and no real wait. Seating is somewhat limited. We got two fancy coffees and three entrees for $42 a bit pricy but still affordable, entrees range between $8 & $14. An excellent brunch place. We got the salmon thing, sticky biscuit & avocado toast. All were excellent. The holiday peppermint coffee was a bit on the expensive side at $7.50 but had cbd in it so we didn’t mind, it was sooo delicious. They don’t have very much parking of their own but there is lots across the street at $3. Will definitely go back!

excellent service, knowledgeable, well trained baristas, and incredible food at reasonable prices, with adequate indoor seating!! i came here with a friend for my birthday breakfast and i ordered the sticky biscuit (?) and my friend ordered the avo toast. both were incredible. the biscuit is obviously made in house and has amazing flavor. the avo toast was delightful, although we agreed that a little more acid (maybe swap the red onions for pickled onions!) would really take this from a wonderful dish to an out-of-this-world one. i had a drip coffee that was truly delightful and my friend’s latte was superb. we wanted to try a dessert but didn’t have room after our breakfast! will definitely be back.

This place is phenomenal! I don’t know how they come up with sandwich ideas and the cake recipe, but they have the absolute best breakfast sandwiches. Every time I come, I’m amazed by the quality of their sandwiches. It’s consistently amazing!!
