Beautiful Interior. It is designed like a French from outside as well. The staff is polite and kind. Tried to display the main attractions of France. Food was good but I felt much sweeter than regular.

Enjoyed my experience. It had been a while and I decided to come with family for a quick little brunch sesh and they loved it. Pastries were nice and soft. Nicely sweetened. Coffee and lattes were very good as well. Nice balance of coffee and sweet. A bit pricey but granted we did buy a lot. Atmosphere is very chill and quiet enough for people to bring their work and have a treat. Lots of parking also, its right in front of Sprouts market and beside the Atrium Health Urgent Care.

We stopped by this Amelie’s in the NoDa area of Charlotte after seeing it recommended on several food lists, and it completely lived up to the hype. The place has a wonderful mix of French bakery treats along with great options for breakfast and lunch. We couldn’t resist trying the macarons, especially the fun flavors like peanut butter and jelly and coconut lime. They were a bit larger than usual and packed with great flavor. The café itself is absolutely charming, filled with creative French-inspired décor that makes it feel special from the moment you walk in. The service was warm, friendly, and made the visit even better. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their pastries!

Have been going to Amelie’s since 2009. Boy has it changed but keeps getting better! Went for me and my husband’s anniversary last week after dinner as a throwback. We moved an hour away and did dinner in Charlotte also. Of course we had to get the SCB ( salted Caramel Brownie) and decaf which they brewed fresh. I am gluten and dairy free and didn’t think I’d have anything for me other than coffee but shockingly the pbj macaroon and macarons were both gluten and dairy free. Always a fav!

As a Francophile I’m pretty disappointed in Amelie’s. I used to come to Amelie’s park road location in high school and was impressed with the assortment of deserts, treats and most importantly baguettes. I move away for some year during college and then moved to France after college for a year. Maybe it’s my experience but their sandwiches are just not good any more. This is my third time having a bad experience specifically with the baguettes. Baguettes are so simple but so important to a good sandwich and a good French establishment. These baguettes sandwiches are not small but are just bad. They need massive improvement. Pictured below is the sandwich I bought for $12. It’s a quarter of the entire sandwich which shows really how small these are. Goat cheese is in the title of the sandwich but i can’t taste it at all! Look at the picture yourself and try to find the goat cheese! There is none! Owners, if you are reading this. PLEASE go to France and then come back and review your menu. You can make improvement and bring this establishment back to its glory. It has fallen so far from excellent.

I cannot even begin to tell you how in love I am with Amélie's. This place is such a vibe! Perfect place to meet up with friends or family. Food/drinks were amazing! Such a comfortable atmosphere. To beat the crowds I'd highly recommended an early weekday or weekend morning.

I really like this cafe. The pastries are delicious. The interior is gorgeous. I've been to a similar cafe, but in Uptown, and it was terrible,it was like they were two different cafes. That's why I love going to this particular cafe, in Noda.

My husband and I went here and it was absolutely amazing I take five stars seriously so if I'm leaving five stars it was well worth it and this place got five stars all the way around for every category. You are not wasting your time going here The food is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. The waitresses were fabulous. We had a great time. Thanks honey! 😀

First visit today and we had breakfast for dinner. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. The western omelette was perfectly cooked with plenty of ham and cheese. The homemade biscuit was served piping hot. The star of the meal was the grits. They were creamy and a great portion came with my meal.

My server was nice, the atmosphere was th he atmosphere of a diner. But the food.. it's a different story. My daughter got the Fish and Shrimp w/ fried. I got 10 CT wings/ fries. My daughter enjoyed her S&F but didn't care for the fries.I was so disappointed with my meal (10ct Garlic Teriyaki wings)$$ The wings tasted like they were poured out of a bag, maybe washed, and if so, barely. Dipped in oil, sprayed with some watered down Teriyaki glaze and the garlic skipped completely. I was asked what kind of sauce i wanted, I asked for ranch but got.... well I'm not sure what it was that i got. If I ever go there again it will only be for the Chocolate Cake, which was very good. I didn't much care for the fries either.

We took a step back into the 50s. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. We got the best food ever. In fact one of our party members is the most pickiest person ever and she gave the place her blessing. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious, their fries were seasoned well,one of our group members ordered fish and said that it was delicious as well. Not a single complaint, it was fast and reasonably priced.

We’re are here visiting for a concert over the weekend from Tennessee and decided to try this place and we are so happy we did because this is by far one of the best restaurants we have tried in a long time. The food is packed with flavor and the portions you get are amazing! Our waitress Kei was nothing but amazing she stood on business she is constantly moving and helping out all of the customers!! She was ready to give us all of her recommendations and what the top choices were! She definitely needs some Recognition and a raise! You go girl!

Large menu. If you can't find something to eat here, your not hungry. The food is good. The death by chocolate is huge. It's definitely enough for 2 people. The service was excellent. Nia was wonderful. She sold me on the desert. Excellent recommendation.

After a night of meeting up with family, we walked to Midnight Diner for a quick bite. I was staying at the Moxy which is right next to the restaurant. There was a small wait to get in, but the food made it all worth it.

This was our 1st time eating here. We tried another time and did not realize you needed reservations or you would have to wait a good bit. So this time we made reservations for lunch. We were seated right around our reservation time. The restaurant is very nice. There are many tables in there, so it’s kind of loud. Our server was a doll! She was kind and patient as it was our first time. We asked about the Cheese and meat appetizer. She stated it was excellent, so we started with that. Well it looked delicious until we came to 3 huge pieces of liver pate. I was not sure what it was, so I took a bite and knew right away!!! Oh boy, why on earth was not disclosed on the menu or by the waitress. Liver is a very specific food item that should be disclosed before you order it. The waitress was really nice and brought out a few pieces of some other meat items for our tray, but then I really could not eat anything off the appetizer after that. SO, if you like liver get this. if not skip it!!!! The other food was delish! We also got 2 desserts to go. Nice place to try, but I don’t think we will be back because having to make reservations is not really my vibe for lunch. I just like to pull up on a restaurant when we’re out and about.

Wow! Great place, excellent service and great food! We stopped in for some brunch for our 31st anniversary. Duck confit & waffle, smoked salmon benedict are both well presented and delicious! Sam (Samantha), our server, was spot-on. It was our first time in, and she was so pleasant and helpful. The beignets were yummy as well. There is also a full bar with some good bourbon choices. If you are in the South Park area, definitely stop in! We went during the week (Wednesday) and even though we made reservations (highly recommended from reviews on Google), there was no need for them. I’d expect to make them more so for weekend breakfast/brunch/lunch. There is a fairly large parking lot in front of Cafe Monte, and a few spots beside it, so parking shouldn’t be an issue most of the time as it is shared with other businesses in the small plaza.

Appetizers, drinks and entrees were enjoyed by all but I wouldn’t go out of my way to dine again. The waitress failed to mention that some of her suggestions were actually up charges. For example, she asked if I would like toast or a croissant with my breakfast. The croissant was an additional $2. She didn’t not ask if we wanted whip cream on our drinks which was an additional .50 per drink. Transparency would have been a better option.

The food is good, not great. We got warm bread and subzero butter when we were seated. I got the duck which was fine, but the broccolini was cold. My hot date got the lobster and crab crepes which had a good amount of shells in it, but the flavor was nice. Be careful not to trip over all the canes and walkers.

We were searching for a cute French cafe and found this spot, loved the food. Enjoyed our coffee. They even have beignets in the menu, which was nice. Definitely coming back again. Overall loved the experience visiting this spot.

My wife and I have been eating here at Cafe Monte for several years, and our experiences have always been great. Today was particularly enjoyable. Sam aka Samantha was very attentive to our dining time. My wife always orders a handful of things that she prefers to come out in a specific order. That's when Sam asked us, " Can I course your dishes?" I realized she wanted to take care of/responsibility for the timing of our appetizers, salads, wine pairing and entrée's to make our experience better. My wife and I are foodies and we've never heard that before, and she did absolutely amazing and I would recommend anyone ask for her when they dine here. You will not be disappointed. Ned who is her Manager checked on us as well, he a as great and spoke very well of his staff and their attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Cafe Monte in SouthPark North Carolina is highly recommended by my wife and I, and thank you to Ned and Sam for an exceptional experience. The food was excellent, and the pace was relaxed. This establishment has certainly become one of my favorites. However, I do wish they recognized anniversaries, as that is the only drawback.

This place in Charlotte NC is a must breakfast visit. Staff was on point with quick visits to table. Very knowledgeable of menu items. I had vegetable egg omelet with goat cheese- wowza, AMAZING, & super flavorful! Also, the special Amaretto pancakes they recommended? The compound honey butter? You can drop in and have this for dessert with coffee. I am making this restaurant as one of my favorites! Pictures do not do justice for the coolest vibe I felt. Go there! The biscuits are homemade, delectable, and melts in your mouth goodness! Try this. I hope you have my cool experience.

When it comes to brunch, Zada Jane’s is up there for me. This was my third visit & while it was a busy Sunday morning, they got us seated pretty quickly. (I do wish they took reservations for larger parties.) We all tried a variety of dishes & everything was delicious & full of flavor. I had the Bunny Rancheros (pork sausage) with a side of habanero grits and they were everything I was hoping for. The staff was friendly & accommodating! All in all a great experience yet again!

Cute atmosphere and the food was decent. Our waiter was a total sweetheart and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The only thing that we didn’t like were the pancakes. It literally tasted like cinnamon (very strong cinnamon). Also it did take awhile to be greeted. We stood at the door confused for about 10 mins until we went and found someone. (This could be to many places being understaffed)

Wonderful brunch! Great service too! I started out with a cappuccino which was pretty frothy and delicious. I had the grande quande with potatoes and toast. The potatoes were yummy. I also loved the sourdough bread. The pancake was the winner. It had a wonderful flavor with some extra added cinnamon. Yum! I also tried my friends jalapeno grits. Also a winner. I could eat those with every meal. Our server told is they're even better with goat cheese! Next time! Overall very cute spot with fun decor. There is parking out back but not a ton so be prepared. I was there on a Friday for lunch and it wasn't very busy so I scored a spot. It is handicap accessible but the lot is gravel so keep that in mind. Will definitely be back. I love the local ingredients!!

I enjoyed brunch here with 6 friends today. The decor is funky as are the waitstaff. Next time I visit, I'll have breakfast. Food was mixed opinions.. Two people said they liked it, but only ate half and didn't take it to go. Our table had both breakfast and lunch items. For portion size, its quite expensive.. Even for organic! I had the green mindmelt, which was very small (I expected to be burger size with 2 portabella mushrooms if one was small, which it definitely was). With that being said, it was very good. The side potato wedges were edible, but dry. The sweet potatoes had a strange flavor like maple syrup.. They were a flop for 3 of us. My friend asked for a medium well hamburger and it came out dripping blood. Thankfully, they remade it and she liked it.

Delicious breakfast! My wife and I were in Charlotte for the day and came here for breakfast. It's a small spot that has a very "everyone knows everyone" kind of atmosphere that made us feel at home. I got the pancakes because pancakes haha! They came with honey butter which was a major win. My wife got eggs frittata style. The eggs had a sweet potato bottom- delightful! This is a great place and well worth the visit.

We love Zada Janes!! The food is always delicious. I get the Booker T each time and it never let's me down. The food is fresh and the service is amazing. Molly served us today and she was funny, friendly and just the right amount of attentive!!

First time at Eddie’s and we are glad decided to give it a try. Ordered Prime rib lunch special and Red Beans and rice with grilled chicken and blackened shrimp. Both were delicious. The chicken and waffles looked great and so did hamburgers. We will be back to give them a try.

The restaurant has been open in Charlotte for as long as I can remember. Each time you drive by it is always full. Now I know why! I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had a 10 minute wait which isn't bad. Once in the restaurant it was busy with waiter / waitresses taking orders and bringing food out to tables. I had a cup of gumbo which was excellent!!! The main dish was black beans and rice with shrimp. Absolutely 💯 delicious 😋! Everything was worth the wait. If you are in the area stop in and get some amazing tasting food!

Went here for Sunday lunch. Saw it had good reviews Waited 10 minutes. Sat. Server took our drink order and asked we were ready to order. We didn't even look at the menu. Once we ordered it was off the races for the kitchen. We ordered the she crab soup. It was good, would have been nice if it was hotter in temp. As soon as I had my spoon in the soup our salads came out. Then half way through having our salads our food came out. Personally for me, I don't like to be flooded with food like that. However, this may be a way they keep turning tables. Their version shrimp and grits was good with ample amount of shrimp. Rice and beans was way too spicy. The shrimp were so seasoned that the season crunched as you bit in. This dish was a fail. When you find yourself commenting on how good the bread is more then the meal itself should be an indicator of food quality. At least for me, I didn't see any love with any of the food. But beyond that, the fact the food was rushed made it less enjoyable dining experience. While this may be a perfect neighborhood bar, I probably would not go back.

I’m totally blown away by the level of quality and taste of the food here. The service was truly exceptional. We were greeted at the front door. The food was delicious there was no way we were going to not take the leftovers with us. Please don’t sleep on this place. If you do you will be very sorry.

Our waitress Anna was wonderful. Never had been to Charlotte before and was told by folks online to stop here. Did not disappoint. The biscuit was amazing and the Parm grits you can't miss. If you are vegetarian, you can ask to substitute meat for a side at no additional cost. We were nervous about a wait but on a Wednesday morning round 10am, it was no wait. Our total was about $22 for two breakfasts, before tip. 5/5

Had brunch here today and I’m so glad we discovered this hidden gem! The chicken and waffles were perfection — crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Our waitress went above and beyond, making the experience even better with her friendly attitude and great service. Can’t wait to come back!

Everyone has gotta try this place. I thought it was more of a very generic southern breakfast place before actually getting here, was I mistaken! This place is more like a local, upscale, hole on the wall that serves drinks and smashing good food! Had the assignment Benedict, which was great! Sauce wasn't broken, ham was not to salty, homefries good and the homemade hash was killer. Wife has the South Chicken+Gravy biscuit. She smashed that thing! Coffee was flowing, atmosphere was cool and chill. 10000% know why this place stays busy as heck! Absolutely a MUST TRY on CLT.

I strongly dislike places that prompt you to tip but don't bring your food out, clean it up, or check in on you. Just pay your workers fairly dude and don't rely on customers. They throw your stuff on the counter by the window and you don't know when your specific order is ready for pick up (no buzzers or name calling). The food was delicious though and I like the concept of the bodega/brewery/diner mixed elements. There's board games to play and a nice outdoor patio/outdoor seating (both upstairs and downstairs). The loft is neat. Definitely Charlotte-y character.

Common Market in Plaza Midwood is such a fun, eclectic neighborhood spot! They have a fantastic selection of beers, wines, and snacks, especially chips from all over. The sandwiches are fresh and packed with flavor, making it a great place for a quick lunch or a casual bite with friends. The laid-back vibe, quirky décor, and friendly staff make it a must-stop in Plaza Midwood.

I absolutely love this place! I have been going here for years. They have so fun stuff in here not to mention good food! I love coming in here to shop and see all the things they have! great place to eat! the atmosphere is one of a kind and the place is truly so cool!

I've always heard of this place but never actually visited. We had parked right in front of this location, so as we decided to head home, we wanted to stop in and see what the place was all about. It's like a continence store as soon as you walk in, but the further you walk in, they have a bar with seating and then a section selling wines, beers, seltzers, and regular sodas to coffees and anything else you may find at a gas station. Outside of the store, they have an open patio with plenty of seating. A lot of people go and purchase their beverages and then come outside to sit drink and have a good time. It's a quirky cool place, and I'm all for it. Love the ambiance and concept of it. The employees and everyone were super friendly, and there were no issues at all. I will def be visiting again.

This was a really cool place with a chill vibe. We had sandwiches which were pretty good. They had a little bit of everything and had a really great choice of beverages. The coolers had some great captions which we thought were humorous. The cookies they sell are the bomb! Will def visit again when in Charlotte.

The guy at the front desk with the long curly hair was an absolute pure, amazing human. So friendly and helpful! The deli has done a great job with their fast turnarounds and wait times have dropped dramatically. The atmosphere is amazing with the most fantastic patrons, staff, and retail items.

Overall, my food experience was excellent. The bartender who took my order was friendly and provided great service. I especially love their food options, like the chicken sausage, and their cheesy grits, which are creamy perfection. The food remains consistently good, which is why I keep coming back. However, I did have an awkward moment with the waiter who handled my payment—I believe their name was Jade or Jada. While I was still eating, I was suddenly presented with the bill and the payment machine, which felt a bit rushed. On another note, parking can be quite difficult due to very limited spaces. Also, wait times during the week are noticeably shorter compared to weekends, when large parties tend to cause delays. Despite these minor issues, I would still recommend this spot for its consistently good food and the friendly service at the bar.

I recently tried the Habanero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice (Jasmine-garlic fried rice with braised habanero pork belly, sautéed red bell peppers, onions, poblanos, carrots and pineapple. Topped with Sriracha maple aioli, two crispy sunny-side up eggs, scallions and kimchi spice) for $16.25 and I've got mixed feelings on the experience. The waitress was mid at best but lets put that aside. I've been to Snooze several times including the original location in Colorado long ago. I love breakfast food but never make time for it in the morning so Snooze for lunch / brunch is always a treat (side note.. I really wish they were open for dinner for all of us that want breakfast for dinner). Anyway.. I tried the Habanero Pork Belly Fried Rice and loved it.. loved every bite of it.. all ten bites at least. It was delicious but for $16+ wayyy smaller than my man sized appetite was looking for. I wish I brought a $2 microwave rice with me just to bulk up the serving bc I ended up grabbing something otw home after leaving Snooze. All in all, great food but for my preference.. it was either too small or too expensive for what I got.

I’m was craving pancakes and they did not disappoint!!! Got the sampler plate, the one the strawberries was to die for. Also go the bacon it was fantastic! Also ordered the pork belly benny. Hey do half orders or Bennys too!!! Staff was wonderful and fun, tasty Bloody Mary! We got there early and I love that they open early!! No wait when you get there at 7:30am!

Food here was delicious and decently priced! The shrimp and grits were my favorite and the strawberry shortcake pancakes were delicious! They made my boyfriend’s order wrong but quickly able to rectify it. There was some lack of attention from server and preferred drink items were sold out. Overall, a good experience and would eat here again because of the food!

Visited Charlotte and had to try this place out, as so many people recommended it! It absolutely did not disappoint! The pork belly Benedict was absolutely amazing! Fantastic mimosas too! Glad we stopped by!

This place was really amazing.We had great food.I absolutely loved the bugogi fried rice.I got a chai latte as well.I have never been asked if I wanted it more sweet or spicy and doing it half and half made it more than likely the best chai latte i've had. It was a Sunday morning when we went, so they were really busy. I didn't get my eggs the first time when my food came out. That's the only reason I said 4 stars on service, but they corrected it really fast. All of the food came out insanely quick, so I will definitely be coming back.

Super cute spot for getting work done or a coffee date. Parking lot was open with spots. We ordered the apple braised brisket special sandwich on the big boy loaf sourdough. They make the sourdough in house! The bread alone sets this place apart from all other shops that serve sandwiches. The sandwich was flavorful and the bread added the best texture. We had waited a bit for our sandwich due to kitchen issues but the barista on staff offered us a pastry for the inconvenience. That's good business in my opinion. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped here recently and wow! I absolutely loved this spot. It feels completely off the beaten track, and has this incredible New England feel inside with exposed brick, casual, but functional seating, and just overall awesome layout as atmosphere. Their coffee was fabulous. They serve some delicious looking desserts though had to skip those. The hot breakfast made to order had an incredible aroma. I can't wait to grab food here at some point. The staff was very cool, friendly and polite. They knew their product like you wouldn't believe, and even felt though they were passionate about it. It's certainly not an easy plat to spot from the main street, and don't give up looking. It's there, and brilliant. There is some outdoor seating off the main road and some parking along the side. Overall a very cool spot and a great experience.

Lincoln’s is a cool place. It has a very hip vibe and is a great addition to South End. Their food is super fresh. You can tell they use really good ingredients. The atmosphere is really cool. There is a rustic and cozy vibe to most of the furniture. It is nice that they sell food and drinks to go as well. The location is great.

I've been hearing great things ever since this place opened. We were not satisfied after a recent meal, so wet decided to stop here for some dessert. We got a sweet potato pecan bar and a caramel peanut butter bar. We absolutely loved both of them. It made me want to go try more of the pastries, but I had to cut myself off. They both had unique and delicious flavors. This is a cute little neighborhood hangout. They have coffee, beer, food, random knick knacks. I can definitely see people coming here to work during the day. I've actually been dying to try their sandwiches, so I'll definitely be back soon to try those. This is unique place to check out!

We were recommended this place by a friend and were truly so impressed! It’s a “order at the bar” kind of place so there is no need for reservations and no real wait. Seating is somewhat limited. We got two fancy coffees and three entrees for $42 a bit pricy but still affordable, entrees range between $8 & $14. An excellent brunch place. We got the salmon thing, sticky biscuit & avocado toast. All were excellent. The holiday peppermint coffee was a bit on the expensive side at $7.50 but had cbd in it so we didn’t mind, it was sooo delicious. They don’t have very much parking of their own but there is lots across the street at $3. Will definitely go back!

excellent service, knowledgeable, well trained baristas, and incredible food at reasonable prices, with adequate indoor seating!! i came here with a friend for my birthday breakfast and i ordered the sticky biscuit (?) and my friend ordered the avo toast. both were incredible. the biscuit is obviously made in house and has amazing flavor. the avo toast was delightful, although we agreed that a little more acid (maybe swap the red onions for pickled onions!) would really take this from a wonderful dish to an out-of-this-world one. i had a drip coffee that was truly delightful and my friend’s latte was superb. we wanted to try a dessert but didn’t have room after our breakfast! will definitely be back.

This place is phenomenal! I don’t know how they come up with sandwich ideas and the cake recipe, but they have the absolute best breakfast sandwiches. Every time I come, I’m amazed by the quality of their sandwiches. It’s consistently amazing!!

It was our first visit for a birthday celebration. Reservation was at 445pm, which is before Valet is open. We parked in Fifth Third parking garage and walked to restaurant (It cost $5 to park as long as you have restaurant validate your parking ticket). We were seated at a table in the corner of the restaurant that was thoughtfully sprinkled with birthday glitter and a handwritten birthday greeting. Our appetizer, dinners and birthday desserts were incredible!! We enjoyed every single bite. We appreciate an early start to dinner...less people, less noise and we had great service. Also, we were happy to walk a block back to our car after a very satisfying, filling meal. I'd recommend The Capital Grille.

I came to The Capital Grille for my birthday dinner and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned, hitting all the right notes. The atmosphere has a classic steakhouse vibe with rich wood accents and tasteful décor — very traditional and cozy. Our waitress was attentive and made the experience even better. Overall, a great spot for a special occasion!

We reserved this restaurant for our anniversary. Due to construction on the street, and its downtown location, we elected to valet ($11). The restaurant was huge and the atmosphere really nice. Our waitress was very attentive and the front of the house manager came over to ask how we were doing. I ordered a passion fruit mojito that was delicious. I chose the scallops and lobster risotto. It was well seasoned and very delicious. My husband ordered the filet mignon. He asked for steak sauce before taking a bite, but afterwards told the waitress he didn't want it. It cut like butter he said and was seasoned too good to add the steak sauce. The restaurant presented me with a rose, gave us a nice card, as well as two desserts, a brulee cheesecake and flourless chocolate expresso cake. The menu items are expensive, although due to the quality of the food its worth it. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return again for lunch.

Our server tonight was Adam. Adam was so sweet, attentive, and considerate. My family and I were visiting from Maryland and decided to eat at this beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting North Carolina. I will be sure to visit again when we are in town.

I came here for a birthday celebration. I absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere inside. Our waiter, Stanton, was kind and helpful. He suggested wonderful food recommendations. I settled for the lamb chops and opted to add a lobster tail. It was all savory, tender and delicious. I’ve also been to Capital grille during lunch time. The experience was amazing at lunch as well. I will be dining her often.

First class all the way. Every aspect of the meal was top notch. Luxury restaurant at its finest. Steak was cooked to perfection. Appetizers were phenomenal. Would highly recommend.

I have always had a great experience at the Capital Grille in Houston. Charlotte was the complete opposite the filets were just mediocre my boyfriend almost choked on his NY strip because there was so much grissle. And the waiter was creepy. We had nice plans for a great evening and when I went to look back on it the waiter took a picture of himself with our phones. What a creep.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Fig Tree - we rented out the bottom floor of the restaurant for our ~40 guests. Jane and the team were great to work with. They put together an event menu with us, and were more than happy to create custom options not typically on their menu, such as a chicken dish, lava cakes, and a wedding cake. We had looked at other restaurants with private event spaces in Charlotte, and they were all very unwilling to modify the set menu choices - we really we appreciated the flexibility at the Fig Tree! We used the outdoor patio area for cocktail hour and then came inside for a cozy candle-lit dinner, which SO delicious. The service was also excellent, as always. Thank you Fig Tree!

My wife and I had been to the Fig Tree Restaurant over a decade ago, and we didn’t recall it as one of our favorites. However, tonight’s dinner wiped that memory away and made it into a fabulous memory. The Caesar Salad was crisp and fresh, with homemade Caesar dressing with real anchovies! The fresh focaccia bread came with garlic spread, we enjoyed amazing wines, my wife’s Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked, as was my Elk Chop, and the Crème Brûlée was delicious.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The service was great. They had numerous options on the menu that sounded great. My partner had the Chilean Sea Bass and I had the veal. Both were incredible. They have an expansive wine list and a decent selection of cocktails. For desert my partner had the cheesecake and I had the peanut butter entremet. Both were mouthwatering. If you’re celebrating a special occasion and are looking for a nice dinner I recommend making a reservation here.

Had high hopes for this place, and Justin was amazing. It started off well with the introduction of the menus, which offered a large wine selection and 8-9 entree options along with the specials. We began with the escargot, and calling it delicious is just the start; it had flavor from the first bite to the last. The sauce was fantastic, and Justine mentioned you'd want more bread just to finish the sauce — and we did. I had the lamb loin, which was perfectly cooked, and the polenta cakes were tasty. My wife chose the sea bass, which started well, but once she reached the middle, it went downhill. It was raw and couldn't even be cut with a knife. Another waiter took it to the back, and you'd think they would cook a new one, since she only took two bites. But no, they reheated it, and we're pretty sure they microwaved it, as there was steam coming off the filet, and the mashed potatoes looked the same as what she had eaten. The fish was just placed on top of the plate and was nowhere near the quality of the original presentation. She did enjoy the mocktail mule — it was light and refreshing. I had the tequila old fashion, but unless you like tequila, I’d pass (thought I’d try something new). Big mistake. The lemon crème brûlée was okay but did not live up to the hype. Parking can be difficult if it’s busy, and they are only open for dinner. If it weren't for the bad sea bass experience, I could easily rate this as a four-star restaurant. But for that price, no one should be served microwave-reheated food.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is located inside a historic and charming house. The wait staff were courteous and professional. We had the Seared Foie Gras and Escargot as starters. The foie gras were velvety and smooth. It was paired with the sweetness of apple and cherry. Escargot normally comes swimming in butter. Their dish comes in a creamy gorgonzola and paired with mushroom. The cream tasted surprisingly light. For main courses, we chose the Sea Bass and Elk Chop. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and paired nicely with the sweet corn. The prosciutto add another dimension to the dish. We actually thought the few small pieces of lobster were a distraction and probably not needed. NOTE: we just spent a week in Maine last month and therefore are biased on how lobster tastes. The Elk Chop was delicious. Elk is leaner than beef but the chop was perfectly cooked to medium and not though to eat at all. The Spätzle was also a surprising side-kick of the dish and complemented the elk nicely. The desserts also did not disappoint. We had the Beignets and the Chocolate-Peanut Butter Entremet. We probably should have shared a single dessert as they are rather generous portion wise. Overall, a memorable dinner. Final note. Because the restaurant is located inside a historic house. You will very likely sit inside one of the former bedrooms converted small dining rooms upstairs with only a few tables pretty close to each other. It also means the room could be a bit noisy if the tables around you are having fabulous but albeit loud conversations.

My husband and I came in off of recommendation it was our first time in Charlotte and we were in town for a “show”. We were blown away by the service and food! Service from Justin start to finish was excellent. We will definitely be returning the next time we’re in town!

Had Father's day brunch here, and it was good. The drinks were good, and they offered a complimentary pastry to begin. It was delicious, but after taking a bite, we noticed that there were hairs on the plate under the pastries. We alerted the service, and the manager came and apologized and gave us more pastries. Everything else we ate was okay. Service was good. Nothing really stood out taste wise. The size of the breakfast platter was definitely a conversation starter though.

I have been to this location multiple times for multiple events or birthdays. This past Saturday I was able to host a engagement party for my dear friend. The food was great. The service was great. I love the green room and how it’s away from the crowd. It seems a little bit more personal. I do want to give thanks to Emma, Si and Atina for their tentativeness and great service for our party.

Church and Union Charlotte delivered a great dining experience with a vibrant atmosphere and stylish decor. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I had the bacon omelette with a side of grits. The omelette was flavorful and cooked just right, but the grits were underwhelming, bland, and lacking the creamy texture I was hoping for. My wife had the chicken sandwich with the glaze on the side, and she really enjoyed it. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the grits. Everything else we had was solid, but that side dish missed the mark. Overall, it was still a great experience and we would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

The food was really delicious but the customer service we received from our waiter Adrian was the icing on the cake!! He made our experience one we will never forget. He was attentive, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to make our dining experience amazing! He made my friend bday brunch memorable! I have nothing bad to say about the food. The place was a whole vibe, clean, large upscale, however, the food did disappoint I can say the water was good, my kids food looked good. One had chicken tenders and fries. The other had a lamb burger and fries however, I had the southern salad with protein added to it which was chicken and the chicken was super tough and very chewy and that salad was disgusting. It was a huge waste of our money no thank you I would not return, but if I stated before, the water was good. I just sat there and waited for them to get done eating so we can leave. My husband had the fried chicken with some type of dipping sauce and he said it was OK. I just expected better food quality. I like the fact that they do give you your receipt in the book which I love the art of war

Loved the vibe & decor of the place. Service was excellent. Food was good. For appetizers we tried the NOLA shrimps with the buttery toasts, Pei Mussels which were great. For entree we ordered the Koji swordfish which was seasoned well but tasted okay. The star was the Dessert- Banoffee Pudding which was decadent & yum.

I had my birthday dinner here and it was great for a large party (we had 13). The food was great to me! Some people in my party wasn't pleased. Service was amazing and so was the drinks.

The service was great and the atmosphere is relaxing. We enjoyed about 90 % of what we ordered. The lamb lollipops, mussels, crostini, and sweet potato gnocchi were excellent. Both my husband and I ordered the blackberry old fashioned and neither of us liked it. Additionally, we ordered the brussel sprouts and they were undercooked so none of the 4 of us finished them.

I took my daughter (10yr old) last night before a show and we both really enjoyed the food. Her favorite was the Mac & Cheese which was fantastic. We also had the fried cauliflower and lamb lollipops, both of which I’d highly recommend. Our server was very polite and attentive, I only wish I remembered his name so I could give him a shout out here. All in all a terrific experience and will definitely be returning!

So so good! The two of us shared 4 plates and it was more than enough. We especially loved the pork belly and the green beans. Also turns out Tuesday is wine night so they have $15 bottles. Service was great as well. Would definitely return if we come back to the Charlotte area

Visited this restaurant tonight while trying to grab a bite to eat before our play started. The ambience was fantastic. The drinks were good but the spinach artichoke dip was the star of the experience. Definitely will be back again.

Love this place! Lot's of benefits to this place. The food comes out fast. No matter what it is. I ordered the fried calamari and OMG!! It was very delicious. It was fried nicely, light and crispy. I felt like I was eating fried chicken, pork rinds, and calamari all in one. It doesn't need seasoning. And if you add a squeeze of lemon juice, OMG amazing! I ordered the pork Belly. The pork belly was okay in my opinion. I don't like sweet sauce and the sauce was a bit too tangy for my liking. But other people may like it. That's just my personal opinion. I ordered the chicken rangoons. They were okay. I needed a bit more seasoning or salt. I ordered the Lamb chops for dinner. And they were amazing! The way they cooked that with a nice crisp and cooked medium rare and the flavor OMG!!! It came with a salad with feta cheese and a vinegarette dressing. I didn't really care for the salad on the side. Normally I would have because of the mixed greens and the feta cheese but I don't like sweet dressing. Overall, a super fantastic place!! I will be back!!

A friend and I decided to eat here after a chaotic day traveling. It was just what we needed. Great food, great service, relaxing atmosphere. We split the lamb, scallops, carrots and risotto, everything was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. Save room for dessert too!

I’ve been to Dandelion Market in Charlotte, North Carolina a few times now. I always have a good experience every time. The service is great. Our server Caitlyn was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food is also very good for the price. We shared a bunch of apps this time. I do believe they have some of the best mac & cheese in the city. We also have the mussels that were very good. The red sauce was delicious and it came with bread. The prosciutto and fig crostinis were OK. I don’t think I would order that again. The fries are always good- thin and crispy. They come with ketchup and an aïoli mayo that is really good and different. The wings were also good. Crispy but not saucy. The only negative about that is they had no blue cheese, only ranch. They were still good though. The calamari was also very good. It wasn’t rubbery but lightly fried and crispy and had a good flavor. They also have a pretty good beer list and wine. Another negative is that my wine was warm. One cool thing is they have a bunch of local beers that rotate. I’ll definitely go back to Dandelion for sure!!

We had one of the best dinners ever in Charlotte! Our server, Victoria was fantastic. She had the best suggestions. The gin cocktail was great, the apple crisp was everything you want it to be. The highlight for my husband was the G’s salad, with goat cheese and pickled onions. The halibut was good and the steak was perfectly cooked. Overall this was an exceptional Tuesday night dinner!!!

From the moment of arrival, we were amazed. My wife, son, and I dined here for our anniversary and the food, staff, drinks, atmosphere (outdoor seating), service, and special touches were all worth the visit! We will be returning and recommend you give them a try when you’re in the area. The braised beef short rib and the steak and fries were amazing. The broccolini was a nice additional touch, and the carrot cake and peanut butter cheesecake were insanely delicious! Dodd our server was very friendly and engaged. We appreciate each of you and the manager, as well the other staff for checking in on us.

The Atmosphere was nice, a bit cool, we suggested outdoor seating, that was on me, outside nice surroundings, The Food Was Delicious, Hats Off To The Chef, The Welcoming Seating Staff and Valet Parking Satff were Great! Our Waiter looked tired but with that last burst of energy, that getting through the day look and it’s Monday damn energy but he was likable because I could relate but I wouldn’t want to see it while I’m the one who’s dining out and I’m the one who’s being served. But Overall Great Food!

Dressler’s at the Met is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates fine dining done right. I started with the Lump Crab appetizer, and it was nothing short of heavenly, fresh, delicate, and packed with flavor. The Caesar salad followed, and it was seasoned to perfection, with just the right balance of tang and crunch. For my main course, I indulged in the Rack of Lamb, and I can honestly say it was exquisite. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with rich, layered flavors. It felt like a full-blown party on my palate with every bite. To finish, I treated myself to my all-time favorite dessert: Key Lime Pie. Creamy, tart, and refreshingly sweet, it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner date or simply want to spoil yourself with exceptional food, Dressler’s is a must. Every course shines, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I’m extremely late giving my food review for this gem but my husband and I were sitting here reminiscing about the duck confit that we had here when I’m like “oh crap! I never left a review.” Let me just say that this place is amazing .. the service was top tier, everything was prepared fresh and super delicious; I even remember the manager/ owner making her rounds to speak with guests - we had our toddler with us and requested a further table as to not disturb other guests, which we were accommodated with. We have since relocated to Tampa so unfortunately there are no locations here but we are definitely looking forward to dining at Dressler’s again in the future. 🤎

This was my first visit & hopefully not the last. I was part of a party of 11, celebrating a cousin's birthday. The wait staff was attentive; however, it took a while for our food to come out. I just assumed it was due to the size of our party, so I didn't complain. I ordered the Pan Seared Salmon w/cauliflower rice (not shown in the photo) & brussel sprouts. Everything was seasoned well. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely return.

Wow! Such a wonderful cuisine. Even though the average experience here takes 2 hours, it is so worth it. Thank you all the staffing for being so kind and patient for us. For a couple I would suggest just 1 entree and 1 dessert due to how filling they are. This is always a go to spot for my family. Thank you melting pot!

We come here every year for my birthday the Melting Pot never fails to amaze me! This is my favorite restaurant and favorite melting pot location that I've been to!!! The staff are all super nice and accommodating. The birthday decor you can purchase is so worth it. The food is always super fresh and delicious. You will be absolutely stuffed by the time you leave here. Also my favorite drinks ever are here including the strawberry blonde martini. Only downsides are it is pricy and sometimes th seafood is a hit or miss.

Very pleasant experience. Came on a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm for their Crave Combo. $38 for two for a cheese and dessert fondue, bar dining only. There were three bar seats left so I was able to snag two for my friend and I. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I liked that they did notice my friend and I were catching up and talking a lot so they did minimal interruptions which is always appreciated and didnt feel forced on their behalf either. We decided on the Alpine cheddar fondue that came with vegetables, bread, apples and grapes. The smell of the cheese was not the best but it was very delicious. We added the sausage dippers and they were great. I also added their garden salad which was delicious! It tasted super fresh and the vinaigrette gave it a sweet but subtle taste and it all paired well with the cheese fondue. We decided on the ying and yang chocolate fondue was it was great to enjoy a nice sweet treat after the cheese and catching up with my friend. All delicious. Came with brownie, rice crispier, starters, banana and pound cake bites. It had been a while since I had visited and im glad I did. Not expensive for the two of us and honestly it was all very filling and nice for a Wednesday dinner. Definitely will be back.

Our server Jake was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was awesome and a lot of it. It is definitely an experience plan on being there between two and a half to three hours. We got the four course dinner and it was on special. You start with a cheese fondue of your choice, then a salad of your choice, then a meet selection with vegetables of your choice, and then a chocolate fondue of your choice. It is truly a unique place. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the seating because the seats kind of sunk and were low. Not great for shorter people.

Everything is always exceptional!! We just came back from our honeymoon and had to come by for a date night at one of our favorite spots. Loved that they decorated the strawberries to look like a bride and groom! The food is great, but the servers and managers always go out of their way to make a special night memorable. Great happy hour at The Melting Pot! Christian was an awesome bartender – super friendly, made great drinks, and kept the vibe fun. Definitely recommend sitting at the bar with him!

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after running errands because we were hungry. Had no expectation since it was our first time here. Parking, there was tons of parking, so parking is not an issue. It was busy when we went, so there was a wait list, we waited about 15 mins before we were seated. Food was good, service was good, waiter knew the menu and made some good recommendation. Menu has tons and tons of options, which can be overwhelming. There was brunch and lunch. We will be back!

Cute little country type cafe/ restaurant. The food was average with no added flair. I was hoping for an amazing pancake but it was a little too hard for me. The server was great though. It was very close to the hotel where we stayed. Convenient location.

First time eating at Cafe South for breakfast. The restaurant has a huge seating area so you can sit with friends or family to enjoy some good fresh cooked meals. There are also seats by a counter to which you can order food and watch it being cooked, right in front of you. I had the country breakfast. I had two over easy eggs, livermush with one biscuit and gravy. The livermush was cooked perfectly, and there was plenty of gravy on the biscuit. Everything was absolutely 💯 delicious 😋!

Everybody seems very friendly and accommodating and the food was quite good. I had something called liver mush which I have never had in my life and it was quite a tasty little treat. Then after breakfast I had a caramel apple pie that was warmed up with ice cream and that was even better.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. It has that small diner feel. I ordered the junior club sandwich on wheat bread. It was basic so I don’t want to judge the restaurant based on just one sandwich. $13 seems a little too much for a basic sandwich. Maybe I will go back one day and order a full meal and see what it’s like.

This place doesn’t take reservations and requires everyone in your party before they sit you down. We were seated within 20 minutes of everyone in our party of 9 showed up. Visited over the weekend and This place gets busy real quick. Our server Oscar was friendly and patient. Food was very delicious and their mimosa was real strong which is a plus point. Overall service and food was great. Will plan on coming back soon. Overall 4/5 ⭐️

Excellent restaurant that opens early in the morning. This restaurant provides excellent breakfast options. The eggs are excellent. They have varieties on how they did the eggs. The biscuits are good and the hash browns are good. The service is excellent, the waitress is very nice and quick. The place is clean and the seatings are comfortable. The place has an excellent atmosphere for eating out together.

Amazing restaurant!!! Everything is so fresh and it’s evident in the quality that the food is made from whole, healthy ingredients. Its food that tastes incredible and leaves you feeling great too, which is surprisingly hard to find! I’ve been vegan for ~10 years and this is one of my absolute favorite vegan restaurants (and I’ve brought non-vegans who loved it too!). High recommend!!

We were visiting family in Charlotte, NC, and fortunately my husband found Luna’s Living Kitchen. I am gluten and dairy intolerant and was delighted to find I could have just about everything on the menu. We were happy to be seated with no wait. Our server was very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. Ended up ordering food to take home with us. Highly recommended.

I recently started eating a vegan diet under recommendation from my physician — but eating out has been hard. I was so happy find a dedicated vegan restaurant on a day trip to Charlotte and was especially happy that even their vegan cheeses were house-made from good ingredients. We each ordered something different and traded bites and all were delicious. If you like spicy, try the Chipotle Quesadilla. The Fire & Brimstone burger was also delicious. And the Broccoli and Mushroom Flatbread also hit the spot — love the crispy crust. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring omnivore friends here with me for a meal as the food was that good. I will look forward to coming back.

Amazingly delicious vegetarian food! I’m not vegetarian by any means, but wow this food really hit the spot. To be honest if I could always eat like this I would consider going vegetarian. The nachos were delicious, make sure you get those. At first I was a bit confused on how a burrito wrapped in a leaf would work, but it was great! Definitely recommend this place, if I’m ever in Charlotte again I’ll for sure stop here for some delicious food.

We loved it! We are so thankful to have a vegan and organic restaurant in Charlotte. The food was delicious and the employees were very friendly. We had the nachos, the pimento and cheddar cheese burgers, the brownie and the berry cheesecake.

Have been to this place for more than 5 years but this was my first time dining there since the covid-19. The parking garage is huge plus because parking was always a huge headache when considering going there. Very friendly staff and liked the patio seating option. Suggest to go Monday-Saturday though because their Sunday menu is reduced. But overall, liked the food and enjoyed the company from friends who I haven't seen for nearly 3 years.

The food is fresh and flavorful. I had a vegan friend visiting from New Jersey, and she loved it. Unfortunately, I had an instance where I was waiting to be seated, and someone of a lighter persuasion was approached and seated before I was acknowledged. I will go back because I enjoy the food, hoping not to have a repeat performance.

Have been coming here since childhood. Many menu options. Many classics on the menu that I can remember. Also newer options. They even have a full bar. Kids menu available. Seemed to only have 1 server during our visit so we waited a bit before we could order. The hostess brought our drinks out.

Nice restaurant / diner on the east side of Charlotte. I went with our social group. We had a party of 11. Service was great. Food was fresh and delicious. All seem to enjoy their entrees. Must be a pretty popular place as the restaurant was quite full while we were there. Good food, generous portions, therefore a good value. Try them out!

Okay, so this is a legendary locals haunt in Charlotte that everyone has to eat at once. This place is famous; artists paint it and authors write about it. The service is the best every time; many waitresses have been there for years — so strike up a convo! From the dessert cooler to the Greek spaghetti to the Tom Turkey to the Chicken Livers to the Sirloin, you can’t go wrong. Pro Tips: Try the Italian Tour, Key Lime Pie, Grilled Flounder, and anything from their daily specials menu.

This is my second year here in charlotte and let me tell you the struggle to find good food is just that a struggle well I found this gem and for the life in me why nobody told me about this place first off it’s a very nice place and the staff was very nice Derlyn our server was very nice and took good care of us the food was very good and the desserts are also on point and all day breakfast this is my #1 spot now by all means check them out

My family and I recently moved to East Charlotte and have been hearing great things about the Diner. Gave it a try this past weekend and it was amazing! Huge menu and the prices & portions were great. Our server, Lindsey, really made our experience stand out. Everyone very busy, yet she never skipped a beat. Very personable and attentive. We will DEFINITELY be back to see her! One of the best diners I’ve tried in Charlotte. I can see why they’ve been in business for so long!

I was a regular for a few years in the late 90s and have since moved 15 miles away. The food was good and fresh as always. The interior has been updated. If you can't find a breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert here you don't want to eat; you must be Gordon Ramsey or the other guy who has never sampled food on TV that anyone else has cooked besides himself that he likes. Service, food, atmosphere and value all 4 stars.

Four years from now, the Dunhill Hotel will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Ninety-six years ago, when the hotel’s architect, Mr. Louis Asbury, was designing it, he probably didn’t imagine that the hotel’s restaurant would one day be named after him — or that his name would be given to a delicious burger I ordered yesterday, along with a salad. Mr. Chong served me; he was a kind, humble, and humorous man. I wanted to see the second floor as well, but it wasn’t possible. I really loved the warm and friendly atmosphere of the restaurant, and the Asbury Burger was excellent. Ben, Local Guide.

We went here for the pre-Wicked menu.The service was excellent, but the food was disappointing. The online menu said beef tenderloin would be served, but we received a very fatty bland strip steak. The fat was not rendered properly. The meat was cold, unseasoned, and not seared. It tasted like it had been steamed. The vegetables were okay. The shrimp appetizer tasted like it was made with frozen shrimp. The lemon meringue pie was lackluster and soggy. I would not recommend this restaurant. We went to The Asbury on Thursday, July 31, 2025 for lunch and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hostess/waitress was absolutely one of the most delightful, polite, and attentive waitresses I’ve ever encountered. She made entire experience top notch. I didn’t get her name, but she deserves a raise! She was handling the entire dining room with grace, professionalism, and a smile. Truly delightful. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced for lunch. We were thrilled with our entire dining experience!

Left after waiting 15 mins for them to acknowledge us or take a drink order. No one was served food in the 15 mins, another couple left complaining about how long it was taking, we had a show to make so we decided to jump the gun and leave before it got too bad. We joked we felt like on an episode of kitchen nightmares, everyone looked INCREDIBLY frazzled for 6:30 on a Friday, the restaurant has like 8 tables 😮‍💨

Great service. Food was ok but a little too salty and toxic for me. My daughter loved the chicken and waffles. It was her first time trying it. I probably won’t be back because I’m more of a clean eater and when I saw what kind of syrup they were refilling the syrup bottles with that just did it for me.

Tried Flying Biscuit Cafe after hearing a lot about their biscuits and gravy, so I ordered that with chicken. It was decent-not bad, but I've definitely had better. The location is nice, the vibe is casual and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. Lots of parking available and prices are very reasonable. Overall, a solid spot if you're nearby, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

Came for Breakfast..staff was very friendly and helpful especially since 2 in our party were there first time there. Our server Kat was awesome. Our food was hot and delicious. My party said they are definitely coming back with or without me. Lol

The French toast was so fluffy and the raspberry puree on it was such a good balance between sweet and tart. The eggs and sausage were cooked perfectly, and the grits, biscuits, and apple butter were phenomenal. I've been searching for great grits and I think I've found my perfect grits. I ended up buying a jar of the apple butter and I'm very surprised it was only $5! All in all we will definitely be coming back. PS pro tip: put a little bit of apple butter in your coffee. It sounds weird but it's SO good

DELICIOUS! everyone was so hospitable. Our main waitress was giving us some feels but the hotess came and took care of us and she was super sweet. All of the hostesses and not sure who the guy that spoke to us was but they were great.

I tried this place because I love biscuits plus they don’t have this in NYC. The mini Shrimp and Grits is delicious the tomato sauce really compliments the dish. My only complaint is that I wish the biscuit was warmer but the apple butter that came with it was good though. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. Everyone was very friendly.

Best omelettes I’ve had in a very long time. I know that they are known for their pancakes but the omelettes are outstanding as well. The fact that they come with a stack of pancakes makes the combo even better! I would highly recommended them but you better get there early as there is always a line for a very good reason! The food is delicious!

Food was terrific. I asked our waitress what her favorite item on the menu was. And I'll agree, the Mediterranean Omelet and Banana Pancakes were phenomenal! Decided to give this place a try… what a mistake. I got the bacon platter with hashbrowns and the three small pancakes. Fiancee got the chorizo scrambler. Both were impossibly bland. Even the bacon! To add insult to injury, our waitress would barely give us the time of day—much less give us an opportunity to ask for anything else. Don’t eat here… just get that Waffle House to go.

The restaurant is very nice, the food was okay. Went for a bday party the streaks had no seasoning, the Cesar salad was okay not enough croutons or cheese . Don't taste like an traditional Cesar more vinegar. No pepper. The best part was the cocktails they were flavorful and good. Presentation of food and apps were superb. We recently celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary by traveling from Durham to Charlotte. As we were not familiar with the area, we researched several restaurants and ultimately selected this establishment. We were very pleased with our choice, as we experienced attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the food was exceptionally delicious.

We had a large party at 10:30 am on Sunday, 10/27/24. Service was great and quick! Our waitress got everything right. I got the Veggie Omelette with Hashbrowns and a Biscuit ($10.95). Pretty average, but it came with so much food and for such a good price. My husband got the Skyland Special ($12.95), which came with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and 2 pancakes. Again, average, but so much food. This is your typical diner. Don’t expect anything super special, but you can get a ton of food for really cheap! I recommend for some good comfort food!

We were driving through Charlotte and needed a breakfast place to stop & eat at. My dad chose this place as a blind shot and man did it pay off. The food was excellent (served quick as well), and definitely did not disappoint after driving for 7 hours. Our server was great, very laid back & got everything right, perfect for a quiet little place like this. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but she was a sweet Latina woman. If we ever are in Charlotte again I will definitely make it a point to stop here!

My husband and I stumbled across this place and I tell you the food was delicious. Our waitress, sarah was amazing and again our food was great Sarah was patient and communicated well with us regarding the portions, the quesadillas were the biggest that I've ever seen.

Busy so had to wait 30 min. Cute decor and staff were friendly. Took awhile to get our food but again they were very busy. Crepes were good but I had the bruschetta crepe and the basil was too strong so couldn't taste the other ingredients. The Apple Strudel crepe was really good. Will come again to try other options.

Went there today for brunch with my brother and we both loved the food. The place has a French look and it’s very welcoming. The service was great! The crepes are huge and very filling. I also got the waffle for dessert and it was delicious. Can’t go wrong here.

There are pros and cons to this restaurant. The servers are always pleasant. The food (I've only had their breakfast items) is okay. Their water taste extremely unfiltered. Not 100% sure if their eggs are real. Their potatoes are good, you just may have to add a touch of pepper for added flavor. I love their Turkey bacon. Also, their Crepe's are good as well. I think their best sellers are their delicious specialty lattes, cappuccinos and coffee beverages. **Note: Their Crepe station is in the center of the restaurant and not in the back, so you will 100% smell like "cooking smoke" when you leave. Just a heads up if you plan to go somewhere else afterwards.**

This was my first time dining here. The presentation was amazing. However, my waffle was a little doughy. That was the main complaint of our large cycling group. If they could figure out how to cook it a little bit longer, we would all love to order the waffles again. Otherwise, service was great!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. They're only open for breakfast and brunch/lunch now. We got there around 11 and there was a 25 minute wait for a table. It was crowded, so even when we got a table it was a small square table for 4 people that we squeezed 5 people around. I'm sure it gets cut down on wait times though. I started with a chai latte which was pretty good. It wasn't too sweet which I appreciate. We got a Chipotle chicken crepe and a smoked salmon, egg, and herb goat cheese crepe. Both were very good, but it was my first time trying the smoked salmon and it was amazing. They put herbs in the crepe batter too which really enhances it. We also tried a banana and butterscotch waffle which was pretty good. I actually like their sweet crepes more though. I didn't think the waffle had enough toppings. If you've never been here before, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Delicious menu for both the sweet and savory crepe lover! Each of the sweet ones comes served with a chocolate covered strawberry, which is adorable. The portions are wonderful for the price on everything I've gotten, and the savory crepes are absolutely gigantic! Two meals easily. The coffee drinks are all hand-made and I've never had one be burnt or bitter; they're unique and delicious. Definitely a great brunch place for whatever your rough Friday or Saturday night held, or a cute date spot!

Rhinos is the place to go when you have a taste for good food and drinks. Im hooked...Rhino's is addiction. The workers are friendly...even when the place is filled with customers. They treat you with great customer service. The atmosphere is inviting. I appreciate that I can choose seating where Im not on top of other consumers. Great place all around.

Several of the employees are entitled rude . My crew was restoring the apartment's power across the street and it was 98 degrees that day. My guys went in and got a drink & sandwich. The register had a option for a tip ( to tip the cashier for ringing up a few things), apparently one of my guys didn't pay a tip and she chased them out into the parking lot cussing and treating them like scum.. we was still working the following day ( haven't went home yet and going on 27 hours without sleep or rest ), and it happened a 2nd time when they went for another Gatorade and sandwich, this time 2 employees pulled the same crap..I also believe they are the one who called the news crew out about us leaving the apartments without power ( we was fixing/ replacing the bad underground power line that burned up, and we was going the best we could under the conditions). I don't recommend this place unless you like paying a tip for someone to do their job, because you probably want enjoy outcome if you don't tip

Truly the best deli in all of Charlotte!! Best prices, diverse menu, great service and live music or DJ most nights of the week…I mean who could ask for more?? Well being plant-based, I could ask for vegan food and, bonus, they have so many vegan options for being a deli. Even have one of the best vegan breakfast burritos I’ve ever had and for an unbeatable price!! Thank you Rhino for being the best neighborhood spot to hang pretty much any day or night. 🙌🏾

Good place to get a sandwich. If you come around lunch time expect a decent wait. They have a grand selection of beer, wine, and grab and go snacks. We tried the veggie sandwich and the bread was lackluster but the flavor of the vegetables inside was great! A more wholesome ciabatta with a crust would bring it next level.

Awesome deli and market for a quick bite or drink! They offer drink and snack options not found many other places but also the usual drinks and snacks as well. The deli sandwich’s are very good! The rueben has tons of beef piled high to satisfy. The raw rhino sandwich is perfect for those who want a vegan option but also want to satisfy their hunger. The drinks are not typical drinks you can find, which is one of my favorite parts. I love the drink options they offer. I’m definitely a fan of the Rhino.

Everything you’ve read about the breakfast burrito is TRUE! Randomly craving one and found this spot. So glad I came here, hands down best tasting and well seasoned. Also it’s pretty big, will keep you full for hours. And their hot coffee is pretty good as well. Overall it’s a vibe. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

i went here at peak lunch hour so the wait in line was 20 minutes and i can say with absolute certainty it was worth the wait!!! i ordered the milanesa torta which was so delicious, the bread was super crispy and the milanesa was perfectly cooked, very flavorful. i usually dont like tomatos but this torta made them delicious! my sister ordered the number 11, which in her words was " really good!" will absolutely be coming again but maybe not during peak lunch! definitely recommend visiting!

Ive been coming here for years and it only gets better. Great spot for breakfast, lunch or even to grab a bottle of wine after work. This is one of the best places to grab a wrap, any kind of breakfast, or lunch. We enjoyed our breakfast sitting on the porch. There are no tables but that doesn't matter. We had the Americano, the Healthy Americano, and the Mercedo wraps that were all absolutely delicious! The staff is so nice, polite, and extremely talented. This is my go to place when I come to Charlotte to visit our daughters! The prices are reasonable and the food is very high quality!

After hearing plenty of good things about this place, I finally decided to stop by recently and get some breakfast sandwiches. The layout of the market makes it a little crowded. There's no seating, so all food is taken to go. You order at the deli counter and then pay separately at the cashier. I got ordered an Americano on an everything bagel, a Mercado, and a Torta. The Torta was a little dry. The Mercado was probably my favorite and the Americano was also good. I wouldn't get a bagel again—it was quite chewy. The service here was not good. I got a Mercado on a plain bagel instead of the Americano on an everything bagel. They also didn't give me the Torta and I had to re-order. When they take your order, they don't write it down or ask for a name/give you a number. There's a ton of confusion about whose order it is when it's ready. There's also no good way to check your order is right because the sandwiches are wrapped up. The food was pretty good, but given the chaos of ordering, I would have to try to come on a less busy day.

1ST DAY - So glad the restaurant was on-site with the hotel. Megan greeted me so pleasantly as I was walking up. She quickly took my order and we had good conversation while I waited, since no other customers were around at that moment. The food was fresh and delicious. I added chicken tenders to the salad for an additional fee. The portion sizes were great for the price. I couldn't finish it all. I would definitely eat here again! 2ND DAY - For lunch I ordered the fried flounder sandwich with side salad, wings with sweet potato fries, and the turtle cheesecake. Most of the food was good, except the wings had no seasoning at all. They were just cooked. I would recommend that fix that but overall I was satisfied.

Lunch was really good (had BLT and a Lenny Boy beer, wife and kids had salads and iced tea). The fries I had were delicious. Service was awesome. (Our daughter and her friend pretended to run the place, hence the picture.)

I want to give 6 stars for service and food. Little bar food place which was a blessing to have inside the hotel. I enjoyed the service and care taken to ensure I was taken care of during lunches. The early day staff (11am) were amazing. the evening staff were good too, I just spent a LOT of time down there during the lunch hours. Good came out tasty, well prepared, and even accommodations were made due to allergies and tastes. I added this place to my must stop list whenever I am in Charlotte.

A true southern home cooked dining experience! All the staff here are so very friendly and inviting! I’ve been here many times now, tried many different things, and I can say that I don’t think there is a bad dish on the menu! This place is definitely one of the best hidden gems in all of Charlotte

First time trying this place. Firstly it’s cold in here. I’m coughing left and right. Can we get some heat in the building please. Now for the food. I ordered onion rings and a gyro. Onion rings were cooked great just tasted bland. No seasoning. Gyro pretty much the same. No flavor. My waiter pretty much was okay but she asked me every few minutes was I okay. I know securing a good tip is some work but let me get a chance to try the food please. A lot of these female customers look like they are straight off the track. Crazy. Don’t think I’ll be back anyway. Not my cup of tea. Put love into your cooking instead of rushful service.

I drove by this place earlier and the parking lot was packed, always a good sign so I decided to come back for lunch. I have to say that very few places can prepare chicken livers as good as what I just had! I totally enjoyed every part of this meal. Looking at other customers looks like everyone was enjoying. A must visit if you’re in this part of Charlotte NC.

It has been a long time since I've been to the Circle G and it hasn't changed a bit. I ordered the Chicken and dumplings and onion rings and rice with gravy. The food was very good. It had good flavor and the onion rings were nice and crispy. The service was great. The server was nice and attentive without being overbearing. I'll be back again and it won't be so long next time.

The food was pretty good. I felt like I should have gotten more fries with my plate but not a deal breaker. I like how it's a mom and pop type place. It was my first time, but I heard a few of the waitresses call customers by name, and that's always nice to hear.

This was a great Yelp find! We enjoyed two grit bowls (one with chorizo added) and two bottles of orange juice for about $25. I would have preferred one more egg and less chow chow for the generous amount of grits that were in the bowl, but I’m certainly not complaining. Although we didn’t purchase any, the bottles of wine were reasonably priced for the markup a boutique spot like this could have charged. If I lived nearby, the amount of local/mom and pop brands they offer would be reason enough to stop by often and grab nice treats for dinner and dessert.

WELL... I really like the inside of the store. Unique cheeses and products. However, we ordered our food and told us someone would bring it over. Waited about 15mins the guy said he forgot that it was still sitting. Therefore, my fried rice with pork belly was room temperature and the ice cold stainless steel bowl wasn't conducive to the ordeal. The sandwich was okay too.

I am a huge fan of Earl’s Grocery! The use fresh ingredients and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Since it is convenient to work I often pop in and grab a prepackaged lunch, but they do have a hot grill and seating should you have more time. I highly recommend the Cheshire Salad! Yumm!!

This place is great. I was staying in the Presby hospital and needed an alternative to the cafe. Got a bahn mi sandwich and a bison hot dog, the sandwich was good but the hot dog was incredible. We also got some sweets from the bakery which were delicious. Great selection of craft beer as well.

They’ve got a nice menu where I’m sure nearly everything I order will be good. Service leaves a little to be desired, have had to wait a while to get our check. I’ve gone once during their usual business hours and they were closed. No note on the door and we checked their social media but they hadn’t posted anything, nor was it mentioned on google or apple maps that they’d be closed that day. Great food, vibes, and coffee but the service could do with some work.

This was a bummer. We are new to the neighborhood and wanted to try this as something walkable. Menu looked interesting and ambience seemed quaint at first glance. First red flag was there were only 3 other patrons at 11am on a Saturday. Floors were sticky/dirty, tables and windowsills were likewise (had to ask the server to wipe down the table after we seated ourselves). Unfortunately it looks like the owner hasn’t been there in some time (or the area health inspector), as I doubt this would be acceptable to either. Looks like a place that has potential but lacks someone who cares about it. Food was ok but seemed a bit overpriced for what it was ($50 for two breakfast sandwiches, a bowl of coffee -yes, served in a bowl- and a Diet Coke). Really bummed, could be a great go-to neighborhood spot for us, but we won’t be returning.

This place is a must go, for sure. If you want to go solo or as a group, then what are you waiting for. The menu might not be big, but it really packs a punch. The ingredients are fresh, and you can tell once you receive your order. The bright and fresh ingredients pair well with any drink on the menu. The portions are awesome, and if you don't finish, then you have a choice to take it home in an environmentally friendly to go box. The location is very classic, and you will have a choice to eat indoors or outdoors.

Good experience overall, my fiesta bowl was very tasty, the chicken biscuits were very tender although the pickle flavor was overwhelming, the SEC was good, a bit small. The coffees are very large and tasty. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable, small sitting area. Service was quite good. Parking is in the back or garage below, a bit complicated.

The atmosphere is pretty dope. Quaint but welcoming. The service was swift and efficient. I got the K-Town Tot Bowl which I would prefer rice over the tater tots but that house queso for the dish is delicious (and I’m not much of a queso guy). And I had this drink called Aperol Spritz (a sparkling wine) which was aight. Would suggest it if you like sparkling wine that isn’t too sweet.

We enjoyed the variety of unique menu items and excellent service. We celebrated our friend’s birthday with Sunday brunch. Everyone loved what they had, and the food did not take long to arrive. We were pleasantly surprised and will return!

I had high expectations for this place but sadly I would never come back again. The The water cups were really dirty and nasty that my friend and I didn’t drink any water the whole time. The service was horrible. The food came out really slow and it was really really oily(they tasted good but seems very unhealthy, the rice was soaked in oil). The portion of the food was really small too. Disappointed.

What I pictured Carolina bbq to be. Let’s start with the staff they were wonderful. Angela was attentive, upbeat and sweet. The portions were beyond generous. The brisket must’ve been almost a 3” thick piece, the ribs were massive St. Louis ribs. The ribs were tender, fall off that bone, but lacked that bbq flavor. The red slaw is on point delicious, on the sweet side very refreshing. The potato salad was great, had a nice blend of salt and pepper. Hush puppies, I have never been a fan but these have changed my mind. They crunch outside and sweet moist corn breading inside. Whoa! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Sweet Lew’s is hands down and I’ll die on this hill the best BBQ in Charlotte! Every single thing was cooked to absolute perfection. The ribs were Flintstone-sized, the fried flounder literally melted in my mouth no sauces or condiments needed. And trust me, I’m the queen of tartar sauce and hot sauce when it comes to a fish fry, so that says a lot! The mac and cheese tasted like family cookout comfort food creamy, cheesy, and unforgettable. The collard greens? Spot on. The potato salad was good, but not a standout I’d go for the greens every time. Overall, this place is an easy 10/10. After living in North Carolina for 9 years, this is by far the best I’ve had. If I could eat here every day, I would.

Went with the two-meat platter and two sides. The brisket was fantastic — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sausage was decent, while the mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and perfectly baked with that classic Southern comfort taste. The coleslaw was excellent too, with just the right balance of creaminess. All the sauces were tasty as well.

This is such a cute place. I think we found this restaurant from social media. Today we decided to give it a try! OMG, the food was delish. I was worried because a few reviews stated that the food was dry, but that was not the case. I had the chicken and pork plate and everything was amazing. Hubby had chicken and sausage and it was also amazing. They have a bunch of different sauces for your meal. The ladies taking the orders were super kind and we asked about a Military discount and they said they do honor that. Wow, now this is a restaurant that we will come back again. The food, service and honoring Veterans is our type of place.

This place is very underrated. They have a parking lot and outdoor and indoor seating. TVs, napkin and sauce caddies for the tables and an incredible staff. Everybody was so welcoming and nice. They even gave me a free side of sausage because they had extra. Plus on Fridays they have FREE BEER. Stick to the basics: ribs, brisket, sausage, Mac and cheese, hush puppies (included w a platter), Cole slaw. Super good food, even better people. Can’t wait to come back.

Delicious bbq in Charlotte, NC with a very nice authentic Easter style pulled pork (vinegar, brown sugar, Pete’s hot sauce). Cole slaw was bbq - pretty good - but it’s nice to have a creamy slaw with eastern bbq. Seating is homey neighborhood atmosphere both inside and outside the restaurant. Prices aren’t bad and portions are quite large. Complementary hush puppy’s added in were tasty. Always fun to taste some cheer wine cola as well. Collared greens were tasty - sides are served heavy. Parking in the street didn’t look bad at all. Consensus food was great - and a bit heavy - but you are there for bbq.

I stopped by Mr. G’s because I saw it had great reviews; my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. I ordered the omelette, which came highly recommended by the staff, but unfortunately, it fell flat. The omelette was bland, lacking the flavor and seasoning that would’ve made it memorable. The potato fries that accompanied it were also a disappointment—soft and lacking the crispiness I was hoping for, with little seasoning to lift the dish. The toast was not even toasted. Perhaps the other dishes are more successful. I'll give it another shot down the road, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the hype.

We stopped in for breakfast on the way to the airport. We were greeted and sat immediately. Server was very attentive, friendly and on top of everything. Food was absolutely amazing and prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend.

I grew up on Mr. G's. I was highly disappointed today. First, how is a restaurant with a 99.5 sanitation rating open with no public access to restrooms. Secondly, I paid 5 dollars for onion rings that were purely breading in a ring. Not one had an onion. Lastly, the grilled chicken salad I loved and grew up on was too watery and did t have an adequate amount of chicken on it. Two ingredients were on the salad pickles and cheese. I will have a hard time coming back. Not the Mr. G's of old.

Whar a gem! Had spinach feta omelette and gyro. Order the home fries!

The food was good. I had the liver pudding, two eggs over medium with hash browns. The hash browns were a little too moist for my liking but hey I ate it. The server was extremely sweet, understanding that is were maybe 2 other tables taken she came around really frequently, not bad but a bit much for me.

Stayed in Charlotte to catch a flight the next morning and decided to try this place near the airport. Ordered the Chicken and waffles. Waffle was fluffy and had great flavor. The chicken was hot and fresh out of the fryer and had been hand battered. Amazing. Great service, great prices, food was awesome.

Friendly, diverse staff. I had an iced vanilla latte and built my own breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon, Gouda on everything bagel). The coffee was easily the best I’ve had in the city and was standard price (~$6). The sandwich was pricey for what it was, but I’d highly recommend a visit!

Such a cute spot. Went 3x before leaving this review. Only thing I didn't like the first visit, was how hard the sour dough bread was. I know some people may prefer it, but it was a bit too hard for me. The second time I asked for a soft bagel and it was absolutely delicious. The bakery items are so good!! Loved the coffee too!! Queen City STAY AWAY Leaving Charlotte and headed to Pinehurst. We are from out of town for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. Walked in for coffee and breakfast. Greeted super unfriendly. He really should get another job that doesn’t require customer service. I wish I hadn’t left a tip. They were out of bagels, muffins, croissants, all bread. They had sourdough, so we settled on an ELEVEN dollar avocado toast and an EIGHT dollar grilled cheese. We never heard them call our name. We waited for FOREEEEEEEEVER. I finally walked over to the counter for our ridiculous piece of avocado toast and sorry excuse of a grilled cheese that tasted less than mediocre. The avocado toast was on a hard toasted bread and not worth $1. I commented that we never heard them call our name and they didn’t care. Please stay away from wasting your money here. Go to the market a couple of minutes further and get all the good things. We LOVED the market! Sweet Crunch for the win people! The whole family can get what they want. And we loved Church and Union for dinner.

This coffee shop offers you an experience. There’s so much to enjoy here, including trivia nights, and nestled nooks for reading and working. I enjoyed my caramel latte with turmeric agave. I did not taste the food but it look really good and I will be back as they offer breakfast and lunch.

The place was very nice and clean. This was our first time visiting. They were out of cold brew, the vanilla latte wasn’t great and I was surprised how long our food took and the portion sizes for the price. I think the portion size was perfect BUT the prices were definitely too high. There are many amazing coffee shops with great food here in Charlotte to choose from. $77 (including tip) for 4 drinks, 2 wraps, avocado toast and a grilled cheese.

Hands down one of the best vegan breakfasts I've ever had! So nice to eat at a place where every item can be made vegan! Their golden chai latte was also amazing and such good prices. Highly recommend!

Came from UNC Charlotte to check this one out, a bit of a walk from the train station and not the best part of town but once you get here it’s super nice cute and abundant outdoor seating. Jay was great at the front and my chicken and waffles were amazing. Two dollar large cookies were a welcome treat and bonus.

Great little mom and pop place tucked away in NODA. Sammie selections for everyone, and different other offerings. The Cuban was great, sweet and salty. The Italian was also comforting, but their battered fries are absolutely a REASON to go! Prices are good for CLT. Try to eat outside and people watch aswell!

We sat outside for Sunday brunch around 1:30 pm. There was a ~35 minute wait for food, which we were told about before ordering. I got the Bubble & Squeak and it was delicious! My husband got a breakfast sandwich and he enjoyed his as well! I see some other reviews mentioned seasoning — ours was perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere and will be back! 😊

We both got the shrimp and grits, personally I found them to be too salty and oily for my taste. I also found the restroom door to be an anxious person’s worst nightmare since it is partially see through so someone can tell if someone is on the toilet… but the service was spectacular and the prices were reasonable.

The food was really good, but the restaurant itself as a business is bizarrely run. We waited for an hour for a biscuit, some fries, and two entrees at 11am on a Sunday. We had two little kids with us and a hour wait from ordering to serving is just too much for the kids. The place was busy but it wasn’t like people were lining up down the block busy, just usual NODA on the weekend busy. It’s also so strange to me that they don’t give you any number to put on your table, so the waitresses are holding the food running from the restaurant to the front around the building to the back dining area calling your name. There were times they would walk back and forth with the same plate of food for a few times because people weren’t paying attention. I feel so bad for them. And it’s such an easy problem to solve. The food was delicious and my savory bowl was such a creative take on oats. But was it 65 minute worth of deliciousness? Definitely not. There are plenty restaurants with great food in the area that have a much more reasonable wait time.

Food, environment and staff were all AMAZING! This was no doubt freshly made food from scratch, including the sausage. Highly recommended!

Food was pretty mediocre. Long line that took awhile to order. Not sure why they don’t have a number system of some sort. It’s counter service but then no way to track where the food is going so the servers are just walking around yelling names through the crowded space. My food came first which was the Spanish omelette. It was fine but I also ordered toast and my husband got a breakfast sandwich. We decided to split both because we were hungry. We were done with the omelette before we even saw the toast or BEC about 15 minutes later. The toast had no butter or jam or anything. I feel like they should try to keep tickets together so people can eat together! I’ve worked in a restaurant my whole life so I feel for them - the kitchen guys looked extremely stressed as did the food runners. I can only assume they’re short staffed or lots of new people are being trained? I think if this place could get some things streamlined and organized it could be way better but right now it’s just a bit of a mess. Best thing we got was the pumpkin chocolate muffin - delicious!

We had a great experience at Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen in Charlotte, NC. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with a nice mix of modern charm and Southern comfort. We ordered the Shrimp and Grits along with the Farmhouse Breakfast Platter, both of which are pictured here. The Shrimp and Grits were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The grits were creamy and the shrimp had just the right amount of seasoning. The Farmhouse Platter was a hearty and satisfying choice, with fresh ingredients and generous portions that hit all the classic breakfast notes. We arrived right at opening on a Sunday morning, so it was nice to beat the rush. However, our table wasn’t properly cleaned when we were seated, which was a little off putting. Also, be aware that you can’t order mimosas before 10 AM on Sundays due to local alcohol laws. (Something we didn’t know ahead of time.) Service was friendly and attentive overall, and our food came out in a timely manner. The only reason we're giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of those small hiccups and the fact that while everything was solid and delicious, it didn’t quite hit that unforgettable “wow” factor but, it came close! Overall, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving elevated Southern fare done right.

We stopped by for Saturday afternoon brunch and enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant had a good and the outdoor seating was nice. Our server, Nico was nice and hospitable and provided some good recommendations like the Smothered Chicken & Biscuits, which were delicious. Our food came pretty quickly too. Good restaurant overall in the heart of uptown.

The chicken is famous and should be, the lightly dusted is perfect for southern charm. The cereal milk martini was so delightful, I had to sip it just to make it last. The Mahi was really spicy but well done. The fried green tomatoes were average. I wouldn't say the food is amazing, but it is good. I would say the service is amazing and the atmosphere is worth the stop.

Food was excellent and filling! The sweet potato pancake was very good though it started feeling too sweet towards the end. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone who enjoys a sweet breakfast though. We also got the mac n cheese and chicken waffle, but without the spice. Their chicken is absolutely amazing and the next time I visit I'll definitely be getting something with chicken. An entree only + tip will put you just around $20, anything more and you'll go over.

Lovely spot for lunch. I got the Sriracha honey fried chicken sandwich with collard greens on the side and my wife got the original fried chicken and waffles. All the staff were friendly and the place was really clean. I'd come back next time I'm in town.

We had such a great time! We had a big group for a birthday and Cody was great!!! He was so helpful and patient with our wild bunch! He got every food order and drink order correct! Cody was a joy and laughed with us the whole time! You should definitely request Cody when you come!! The food was great! The drinks were amazing! Everything was soooo tasty! We ordered take-out about an hour ago (receipt attached in the photo). When we got home, we noticed that the item I circled on the receipt — OTS Sausage Gravy White — was missing from our order. Unfortunately, we couldn’t call because the restaurant was already closed after 3 PM, and it made no sense to drive back. The order was fully paid for, but part of it was not provided. Also, please note that we asked the cashier if there was a Military discount. She confirmed there was, and even after my husband showed his Military ID, the discount was never applied.

It was a first time for this place. My husband and I decided a random breakfast date was the move, so we found somewhere we hadn't been that was not too far away. It was a perfect choice. We both got the stuffed french toast, and it was so good, coupled with their warm maple syrup, and I had their freshly squeezed orange juice that was out of this world, in my opinion. Like, do they squeeze the oranges themselves each morning? I was superr impressed. Our server was friendly, but she only came to us once befor our food cam,e and when she dropped off the food, she quickly came back with the bill. Although she said no rush and the bill was just there for when we were ready, that is one of my pet peeves is the bill being brought before we request it. It almost always means the server is done with you for the most part, and she did not return until we wanted a box. What if we had needed something? This time that wasn't the case, but I didn't love that. So that is why I neglected one star from service. The atmosphere was nice however I thing need some updates like they're dated dated silverware old school. Wooden chairs that fell over anytime someone tried to put something heavy on the back like a book bag, and the floor was super sticky. So I'm not sure why. But that's what cost a star in atmosphere. Out side of that I realy did enjoy breakfast and we will be going back to try other things off the menu because every plate that passed by us looked and smelled amazing.

Today we came to eat at the famous toasty at 2:22, They close at 3:00. We knew we were running late yet and still the food was excellent. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. Our food was Hot and on the table within five minutes. The coffee was great and authentic and the service was amazing , special kudos to Meonka.

Came here for brunch with some friends. Had the stuffed strawberry & creme French toast and it was really good. Added eggs with pepper jack cheese & thick cut bacon that was also very good. Staff was quick & nice.

The family & I love eating brunch on Saturdays. Famous Toastery never disappoints from a food perspective. The service could have been better today, but we intend to come back another day.

This was an interesting experience. Got last minute reservations for an early post Valentine's Day dinner. The concept of the place is appreciated (read their website for specifics), rooms were decorated completely differently from each other with a lot of detail. Everything on the menu was unique and delicious. The service was very quick, very casual, and they all seemed to be happy to be there and were some of the most efficient staff I've ever seen (watching a team clear a table and reset in seconds was fascinating). The prices were absolutely too high though. I get that we're paying for an experience, but $37 for a small piece of trout with no sides included is ridiculous. I'm not sure we'll visit again, but if the menu is seasonal, it might be worth another trip to see what else they come up with. Nice spot for a special occasion but won't be on the regular rotation.

First time. Parking is horrendous for the amount of business. Be prepared to walk. Located in artsy area. Walkable area with scattered food places. Feels very safe and welcoming Goodyear place has inside and outside dining. Pricey for the amount of food you get. Staff is very professional and friendly. Good mixed drinks. Appetizers were good although the shrimp were overcooked (rubbery). We had ribs, shrimp and grits, and pasta dishes. Understand there are no sides with the dishes. Small dessert menu. It's worth a try for something different.

I’m sorry I didn’t take a photo before we demolished our plates. It was too hot too sexy too delicious to savor the moment. It WAS the rice balls and the Mac and cheese. Perfect warm night cap to a long summers day. Shout out to Grace at the Bar for the delicious Paloma’s (AND THEY HAVE FERNET!!). And shout out to our server Giovanna, (we didn’t know what to order) she asked what the vibe was and we trusted her. Perfect order!! Thanks girls! It was our first time and we will be back. We really appreciated the warm and attentive service at Goodyear, which stood out and made the visit pleasant. The ingredients were clearly of high quality, but to our taste the dishes didn’t quite come together. The salad was just ok, the bucatini leaned too acidic and felt a bit unbalanced, while the grilled bavette was the best of the night and well executed. Overall, a very nice experience for service and presentation, though the flavors weren’t quite to our preference this time. Dishes we tried: • Good Salad – local lettuces, pickled shallot, Parmigiano-Reggiano, herb verde dressing. • Bucatini – sun gold tomato, crab, uni butter, tarragon. • Grilled Bavette – au poivre, green peppercorn, chive. For two people, with one glass of wine, sparkling water, and tip, the total came to about $120.

Absolutely incredible experience at The Goodyear House! From the moment we sat down, the energy, food, and atmosphere were top-notch, but what truly made our night unforgettable was our server, Nathan. He was an absolute superstar, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about every dish, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure our experience was perfect. He anticipated what we needed before we even asked, offered great recommendations, and made us feel like VIPs all night. You can tell he truly loves what he does and it shows. The food was amazing (the kind that makes you close your eyes for a second bite), the cocktails were crafted to perfection, and the vibe was warm, stylish, and welcoming. But Nathan? He was the highlight. If you’re lucky enough to get him as your waiter, you’re in for a five-star experience.

What a local treat! Famous Chef and his amazing food creations. We had one of everything on the menu amongst our group and not a single disappointment…desserts too!! Wow. Oh, the adult beverage specialties were off the chart awesome too! Really enjoyed the outdoor seating and atmosphere…highly recommend and will be back for sure!

Placed an order for 5 sandwich meals. Pulled up to the window to a rude female who then took my payment and told me to pull into a spot. I'm sorry, it's lunch time and you have nothing made? Then she comes out and shoves the bags at me. No sorry for your wait! I get that it's fast food but common courtesy should still be expected. Oh and no straws for the 5 drinks either! Take your money to a different location!

I only was ordering something to drink and I said well can I just order a Watermelon Tea drink and a cup of ice she said yes, and I said why I want the watermelon Tea She said we don’t have that and I said OK can I get a medium Starry She said we don’t have that either totally unprofessional will never come back again!!!

Was told I had to buy something before I was allowed access to the restroom to wash my hands !! That is a violation of health code. I have already sent a notice to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Health Dept. I will never spend money at ANY Bojangles again. This is not safe or healthy to not allow access to wash my hands prior to ordering food and if your restroom is paid access you should 100% be put on notice. No wonder this location is so dirty in the lobby area. Bojangles do better!

At 8:30 and there was no one in the entire building. A woman with a very long red braids watch me sit at the counter for about seven minutes. She was told by multiple people that there was someone waiting, but she literally just ignored me If she looked like she’s dirty as hell

I went into here before I had class and there was a young lady by the name of Zayonna. She was so polite and offered good recommendations. She should be a team trainer on customer service for Bojangles overall.

The pregnant woman with the overgrown braids at the window is extremely rude. I understand that you may not want to work while being nine months pregnant but that’s your choice not ours. This Bojangles location consistently has the rudest workers in the evening. Something really should be done.

Friend of mine got me an ice coffee, perfect for this crazy summer. Best I have ever had in a while, Best part you add your own sugar!! She also got tiramisu’s samples, Omg that was exquisite!!

How do you expect me to eat a burnt egg sandwich. This tasted like paper and I had to throw it away after spending $8 on it. What a shame, this was absolutely disgusting and I am never ordering food from this place again. Don't get the egg sandwiches here, they always burn the eggs. They don't know how to cook eggs.

the atmosphere of the cafe is very nice and calm. one of the workers (faye? fay?) provided excellent customer service and had my food and drink out in a timely manner. not only was the food excellent, but the server also offered to add syrup to my coffee without extra charge if it wasn’t sweet enough. will definitely be coming back.

First off impressions....very clean The lady behind the counter was very helpful and kind. We decided on a “dirty” latte and regular coffee along with a blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll. The lady let me sample my latte to make sure the sweetness was to my liking and it was. I thought that was a nice touch or customer service. The regular coffee was decent. The blueberry muffin is not your typical sweet muffin. It grabs its sweetness from the real blueberries. The cinnamon roll was super sweet but somehow I couldn’t stop eating it. You could taste the real cinnamon! We got there after lunch time and there just weren’t many options left to choose from. Knowing this I suggest going earlier to make sure you can pick what you like. Lots of vegan/gluten free options.

Sunny’s Special Sandwich (Rosemary sourdough bread) with meat, egg and sundried tomato pesto was decent. Blueberry muffin was aromatic and surprisingly the sweetness comes from only blueberries. Pastry is crumbly and fresh.

Wow such a hidden gem. I came upon this place because I was across the street after dinner looking for a coffee shop that was opened and found Roots. Lovely staff. The espresso was delicious and I didn’t realize they had cocktails too and let me tell you the Finding Rose #2…. Amazing. The place is so cute and has such a beautiful vibe to it. They also have food which I didn’t know about. Will definitely be back!

We might have found our new go-to spot for good food, great service and amazing coffee! Me, my wife and my daughter stopped by ROOTS Cafe on a Saturday morning and it was obvious why the place was packed. Only two tables were open so we quickly scooped one up. You order at the register so we went with a Bananas Foster Latte and Crème Brulee Latte to drink. Both of those were top notch! For food, we ordered Avocado Toast, Breakfast Burrito and the BELT. Food was brought out timely and tasted amazing. Everything we ate was delicious. We will definitely be back again even though it is a 45 minute drive! Would highly recommend ROOTS Cafe!

Really good expresso martinis! Intimate bar and work, social setting! I had this place on my to go to list and I am happy I finally go around to going! The Latin style breakfast was amazing! Definitely going back

Delicious food and ambiance, especially if you can get a patio table on a nice day. They have great coffee as well. One of the best tomato soups I’ve had! My only complaint is that seating is very limited and it’s an order-at-the-counter situation, so if there are no tables, it’s kind of an awkward wait.

I luv to venture out of Fort Mill and into Charlotte and RooTs was a great find !! I don’t eat a lot of meat but the soup that I had was DELISH !! ..it had meatballs and rice .. name ? 💭 can’t remember 😛.. but the pleasant staff , the decor and the ~just right size~ of the dining space gave it an authentic vibe I want to return to !

The smoked salmon and sweet potato hash was delicious. The sauce they gave with the hash was great too. Everyoen who worked there was attentive and very sweet, warm and welcoming. Atmosphere was really cool and my espresso (not pictured) was great as well.

Added chicken adobo to the breakfast burrito it was delicious! Pricey, but the quality is there.

This spot had really good flavors with their loaded fries. We got the curry fries and a jalapeno and cheddar brat. Bother were good flavors and the service was excellent. The host was attentive and patient with our ordering. The ambience of the place was almost there but not quite what you expect. Will definitely try again especially for bagels. I'm an Northeast girl and we take our bagels seriously.

Cozy joint with lots of menu choices including "Breakfast All Day!" We were greeted immediately upon walking thru the door and there was plenty of seating inside & out prior to the lunch rush. Our food came out quick, too. The Smoked Jalapeño & Cheddar Bratwurst was fantastic, as was the House Frankfurter. Inside there is Shuffleboard and Darts to pay with friends. The restrooms were clean and well stocked.

This place is pretty good. Very clean. Very friendly fast service. Good brats etc. Everything I've tried so far has been great. Bagels are not your NY style they're Montreal style so are more pretzel-like? Their take on the Monte Cristo was Soo good I just wish they had put the jam on the inside. All the burgers I've tried have been so juicy and delicious with the right amount of toppings and sauce even the buns are really good. I don't even like jalapenos and even their jalapeno mayo goes great on a burger.They could go easier on the salt when it comes to their tater tots. Their beer cheese is really good especially for dipping tater tots. They also have a shuffle board table.

Came on a Wednesday to try the breakfast sandwich and bagels. Service was great and so was the food! The pastrami egg and cheese ($7.95) was a pretty big sandwich and very tasty. I shared it with friends so looking forward to coming back and getting one all for myself. We also tried a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese ($2.25). I’ve never had a Montreal bagel before. It was thinner/flatter than a New York bagel, and more bread-y (less chewy). Also good. We came around 10am and the place was empty. Gets pretty busy during lunch so plan your visit accordingly!

I am so glad they opened this location. Went for lunch and expirences extremely helpful and friendly staff, a fun and environs atmosphere, and top quality food that Charlotte has come to know and love at the original location! I will be frequenting this location as it is close to home and look forward to every future visit! This time, I ordered the pork schnitzel sandwich - if you have not yet tried it, make it your next order! To me, the good wurst is a step back to simpler times, the friendly local butcher on the corner. This is clearly seen with the true care and passion embedded in everything they do!

Incredible place featuring house made montreal style bagels (this is a thing, google it!), sausages, and more. Excellent food, big beer selection, lots of space to enjoy. Even a dartboard and shuffleboard. Owners are super nice. Don’t sleep on the house cut fries.

Good Wurst on S Tryon st. Great bratwurst sandwich! On a great roll. Delicious frankfurters.. The bagels are like rolls, if you like that style. Coffee was decent..
