Saturday Brunch here with my wife and our son and daughter in law. The food was high quality and wonderfully flavored. I had the Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes with A Scrambled Eggs w/ Cheese and the Cranberry Maple Turkey Sausage. The family had various omelets and everything was delicious. Truly a wonderful dining experience.

9/12/2025 at 11:00am Everything was perfect, from the start we had a friendly welcome, the host was amazing and very knowledgeable. Our server was very friendly and patient with our 3 kids. All the food we ordered felt fresh and homemade, it was delicious. Personally today I had one of the best breakfast I've had in 34 countries and 26 states from this beautiful country I have visited and of course I have many great experiences, so I add today dish to 1 of the 10 best breakfasts due to the unique and diverse flavor of this dish (Fried chicken biscuit & and gravy omelet ) the name don't mention all the other ingredients, I recommend this dish 100%

Come here as we were in Baltimore early and it was open for breakfast. Great it had a separate vegan menu and kids menu. Friendly and helpful service. Kids portion is very generous! The Vegan pancakes where a little dry but alright. No restaurant toilet. Prices are quite high.

Unique breakfast joint within walking distance when in the inner harbor. Has great menu options that are hard to narrow down. The Cinnamon Danish pancakes were our favorite. Everyone left with their bellies full.

First time.. came from a tiktok recommendation! Food was decent, I wouldn't go back for 2nd. Nice outside view to sit and eat. Its more on the pricey side here! Server was good! My friend did not like the egg whites, it was corrected but still wasn't to her liking. The manager did come by a follow-up which was nice.

First time at Miss Shirley’s and it did not disappoint! Our server Ryan was attentive and so sweet. I ordered their Crab Hash and Fries Green Tomato Eggs Benedict and I will forever dream about how delicious it was. Was also ordered the Pimento Cheese Biscuits which were heavenly with the strawberry jam. Would recommend this place to anyone traveling from out of town who really wants a good breakfast!

I haven’t been to Miss Shirley’s in a few years and the food is still good. The shrimp and grits are a must have along with the new fruit drinks they now offer. One slight inconvenience is having to leave the restaurant and go to a different floor in the building to use the restroom. That just a minor set back for a nice brunch spot near the harbor.

Overall experience was great. We were seated right away. It’s a tight space with seating for about 10-15 couples/families. The entire wait staff was super polite and timely. The food was delicious. It also came out pretty fast. The pancakes were hot, the sausage was superb, and the eggs were prepared as they were asked to be., For the freshness and taste the price in my opinion is well worth it. I saw a few things on the menu I wanted to try. I’ll save that for the next visit.

I have been wanting to visit this place for years now and I finally got the opportunity and they did not disappoint! We arrived bright and early at 8:00 on Saturday morning and had about a 15 minute wait. Once we were seated, the service was very quick, efficient, and friendly. The menu had so many fun options I had a difficult time trying to decide what to order, but I finally settled on the Captain Crunch French Toast and it was delicious!! This place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Baltimore area.

This is a quaint little place. We thought it was one of the best breakfast places we went to while in Baltimore. We waited about 25 minutes to get a seat. Not a lot of tables inside but they make it work. It is a little loud because of how small the place is so it was hard to have a conversation. The waitress was friendly but didn’t make a lot and of stops at our table to check on us. The Mexican omelette with a side of hash browns was fabulous. The cooked the hash browns so they were crispy on both sides. They were so good. The Mexican omelette had chorizo onions and peppers. It was so delicious. The unique variety of foods make it a one of a kind place. I understand why they have such high ratings. Seems clean considering how busy it is. They also have a few tables for outside seating.

This place is nice and cozy. The environment is calm. The menu is a QR code so make sure to have your phone handy. The food was incredibly great! I will definitely return. Today is Friday morning about 8 am , there was no wait.

Tasty foods and warm service! Love it! But the atmosphere is a little gloomy and place is a little on the dimmer side. I think some lovely warm lights will do the trick. Visited them a few times and they deliver flavor and taste that you will really love! ❤️

Okay. So you need to know the lore. I have been trying to get in this is restaurant for 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒. I finally got in today. Here’s my review: The food was ball drop amazing The atmosphere was amazing loved the little trinkets and the blue paraphernalia. Please get the French toast captain crunch if you know what’s good for you. It was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Otherwise why are you even going. 10/10, my final review is if you can’t get in the first time…fourth time is the charm.

This is worth the wait! We checked in and were expecting an hour wait so we explored Fell’s Point and returned 40 mins later to be called next. We had one order of the SIn Roll French Toast & the pumpkin pancakes. Quick service and delicious food. Be prepared to take home leftovers or split!

The food was presented pretty. Everything was loaded with salt. Our whole party was tasting things. We called the manager. She told us that they’ve been serving the same things all day with no complaints, as if that invalidated what we had. I’m not sure if it was the waitress’ first day on the job but her service was terrible! She kept forgetting things. I waited forever for a refill of water! It was our first time here but I’ll never come back.

I would have given this restaurant a 4 because it seems everyone enjoyed the food. Service wasn’t awful. My 75 yr old MIL and her sister really like it here. I am rating it low because the waitress wrote in big bold letters on our order that I had a dairy allergy (I get violently ill) and they cooked my food in something with Dairy. The waitress said “the Chef said it would be safe…”it was cooked in butter oil.” When I explained that butter oil was not dairy free she apologized several times and offered to get me a cup of fruit instead. I could not eat my $25 dollar meal and no one offered to cook something without dairy or remove it from the check. I know it is challenging for restaurants to understand allergies sometimes but they should make it right. The waitress may have forgotten to tell them who knows. So I watched everyone else eat. I did not like the layout of the restaurant it looked like a cafe. Other people may like a layout like that. The beer was good.

I have heard such good things about this restaurant for ages, and I finally got a chance to try it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. It was (maybe) the first day of the new menu, I dont know if that had anything to do with it or not. The food was overseasoned to the point it was hard to eat. My server may have been new too, she was WAY over attentive, constantly coming to my table until it was time to pay... she vanished.

During a brunch outing with a friend, our enjoyable conversation was disrupted by the arrival of our food. Everything looked so bland. Upon examining my plate, I was disturbed to find a hair and what appeared to be dirt. A closer look revealed another hair in my eggs, which caused me significant distress. The manager was quickly alerted and asked if I wanted my meal remade, which struck me as a redundant question. Furthermore, the crab dip I ordered was disappointing, consisting mainly of cream cheese with a meager sprinkling of crab meat on top, and was overpriced at $20. Considering the inconvenience I experienced, I anticipated that my breakfast meal would be free of charge or half off, but this was not the case. Notwithstanding, our waiter delivered exceptional service. We won’t be returning!!

The food was really good! We ordered pancakes and fried chicken.The place is beautiful. And the server was really nice and she was always checking on us. We had a good time. We ordered a strawberry avocado toast as well but we didn’t quite like that one, the taste of it was unusual. But everything else was excellent. Don’t hesitate coming to iron rooster.

Black again Breakfast was delicious. My waitress was BROOK and the cook was Henry. Eric and Claire are also good waitress and waiter. If you want a good breakfast Visit the Boston street Iron rooster you won't be disappointed

Top 10 best meals of my life. PHENOMENAL breakfast. The stuffed French toast was so, so delicious. The Burrito was amazing.

My husband and I have been coming to spoons for 10+ years and it remains our favorite spot in Baltimore! The vibe at spoons is relaxed and comfortable. Their food is awesome, some favorites are their blueberry pancakes, biscuits and scrambles. Coffee is great and so is the service.

Came from Boston and was recommended we visit spoons. So bummed we waited foe the second leg of our trip, because had we known, we would have been several times!! Ha ! So so good. Very friendly staff, haven't had a lot of that here in Baltimore. EXCELLENT food (they even grilled my English muffin! Something Dave and Dads rudely responded to). And the iced lattes we got were INCREDIBLE. I wish we had a spoons at home !

My group and I had a great time here today. We came in for lunch and, it's true, you really should make reservations. At noon on a Sunday the wait was about 45 minutes to seat four people. When it was our turn to be seated, the wait staff was very friendly and made jokes with us from the start. I imagine and hope that all the staff here were as friendly. I hate that I didn't catch her name! The coffee we had was fabulous, both in presentation and in taste. We tried the egg nog coffee, the marshmallow coffee, and their regular black drip, all great. Yes, the marshmallow coffee actually comes with a toasted marshmallow! The food was fantastic too. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and the food came out quickly and hot. I love that they have great sweet and savory options for brunch. The only odd thing was that there is a little bit of a rush here to turn the tables to new customers. I totally understand it though. With a great restaurant like this in such high demand and with such little seating, you need to keep the hungry people flowing so everyone can have a chance to enjoy it.

I guess you just have to get lucky that this place is open when they say they are when you come. I went here with a friend on a Sunday morning and my experience was great, no complaints. I had leftovers to bring home, my spouse thought the leftovers were so good that we decided to come back the following weekend, also on Sunday (literally one week later). We arrived after 8:45am and the doors were locked. There was no sign on the door explaining why, no updates on google, their website, or their social media. They didn’t answer the phone. We weren’t the only confused potential customers outside. So yeah, 2nd star because my first time there was good, but maybe update your hours or at least inform customers of a change so we don’t waste time, gas, and parking fees just to be greeted by a locked door.

Connie’s Chicken and Waffles offers some seriously delicious food that will make you want to come back for more. I had the waffle and shrimp, and it was a fantastic combination—the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the waffle was fluffy and delightful. Together, they created a mouthwatering dish that’s hard to beat! However, I did encounter a bit of a hiccup with the service. It took a solid 35 minutes for my food to arrive, which felt like an eternity, especially when you can hear your stomach grumbling in anticipation. I noticed the lady before me was getting pretty impatient, and I think she even asked for a refund due to the wait. While I understand that good food takes time, it would have been great to get a bit of communication or a heads-up about the delay. That said, once my food finally arrived, all was forgiven—because it was absolutely worth the wait. I’ll definitely be back, but I might bring a snack for the wait next time!

Everything about this cheese steak sub was good. The steak was not over cooked or under cooked. It was seasoned just right. Xtra fried onions the bread tasted freshly baked. This sub was not very expensive, which is why I guess it wasn't what you would call overstuffed, but for the price the portion was appropriate. All in all I enjoyed the meal. The next time I'll ask for a double meat cheese steak sub. My son and I had a very good experience here. ( Get the cheese steak sub , but definitely go for the double meat.

The food was very tasty. I just wish the chicken and waffles had a crisp to them, if you know what I mean. The chicken and waffles were made to order and was delicious! The service was great. I watched that man take orders, cook, and serve all by hisself and the wait wasn't long at all. Bravo to that man. The atmosphere could have been a little better. The use of a good de-greaser would work miracles.

Disappointed. Took forever to get my food. Didn’t have time to eat the food once my 40 minute break ended. Once I finally get my order of chicken and waffles, the worker then tells me there isn’t any syrup. How can I eat chicken & waffles w/ out syrup? And to top it off there weren’t any napkins in the bag. Update: I came back after my review for another try. This time when I was returning to pick up my food, I saw that the girl was not wearing any gloves. She saw my reaction and guiltily put on gloves quickly before finishing up packaging my food. Her face told all. She knew she was wrong. Who knew what she was touching prior to putting the gloves on. Smh

Took a walk from Marriott Waterfront to try this place, it was worth the walk. Food comes out piping hot! Food was good, I had a waffle, chicken tenders with fries. Service was friendly. Would recommend. Tenders were cooked perfectly.

Best chicken waffle I have had in a while. The chicken tenders are really buttery. Great customer service too. My family and I enjoyed every bit of it. A bit pricey 😅 but would recommend 10/10.

Ordered it for the first time. It's very expensive for a waffle and chicken coating minimum $13 and upwards. Only a waffle is $8 which is ridiculous. However the fried chicken is very flavorful and not too try. It's definitely delicious. Waffle was equally good well made. If not the high price I would definitely recommend trying it out.

This is not my favorite place for brunch but it was good. This a very laid place for brunch. I came with a group of ten. You cannot make a reservation so call ahead if you want a big group. The service was a little slow but nice, we did have 10 people after all. But the food itself was good! It wasn’t the best brunch I’ve had in town but it is a good affordable place. I had the crab and egg croissant and it could’ve used more crab it in but it was good. The drinks were great and we had a pleasant time.

Mid week rainy day stop off, and the experience here just about matched that. I came hoping for a pot of tea, and was surprised at the register with the news that they don’t offer pots of tea anymore. My bad for not doing my research before I got there. The brightest spot of this experience was the wait staff. My server was so friendly, so kind and so accommodating. I didn’t have to ask for additional hot water when my tea ran out and she checked on me more than once, which I find is a rarity these days. I ordered a basic breakfast platter and got that. Simple omelette, style eggs, turkey, bacon with toast. It’s a review so I’m trying to think of something remarkable to say about it but there’s nothing. The music was surprisingly loud given how many folks were there (just a few).

I was not the biggest fan of TeaVolve, having been to a plethora of breakfast spots while in Baltimore. First, the service was wonderful and kind and accommodating, so I should say that. They accommodating our large party of 10 when we called in advance. The decor is next step down, in that it’s pretty boring. Neither cute nor high end. Not cluttered or artistic in its look. Last, and least, was the food, which was all sort of tasteless. The crab omelette wasn’t very tasty - missing onions or garlic or spices in general. And the side of potatoes were grease but didn’t have flavor either. I didn’t understand! I think you can skip it here and find another nearby spot that better hits the breakfast mark.

5-star food! 5-star service! We ADORE this place. The food quality is really grand with a variety of styles of dishes, and their teas and smoothies are divine! We like going for breakfast especially. We've always had GREAT service.

I called at 3 o’clock to place an order for wings. I was directed and told that I can order wings online or in person. No one ever told me that the kitchen closed at 3:30. I pull up at 3:38 walk into an empty restaurant to be told that the kitchen is now closed, but they don’t close until four and all I want was takeout order. The poorest of service and i mean a completely empty restaurant with more than 20 mins to go. And let me state that the only reason why i went in person was bc when i tried online and wouldn’t allow my pickup order process for today but Tuesday at 9:15a

Easily one of my favorite brunch spots in the city. It’s never really too crowded and the food is always good. The shrimp and grits is my go to every single time. Also you can’t go wrong with the potatoes or the seafood omelette. Even the French toast and waffles are a hit. They have a good selection of coffee drinks and teas as well as some boozy options. Check them out.

This place is fantastic! Quite possibly the best shrimp and grits I've ever had! Sorry I didn't take a picture of the shrimp and grits before I started eating them! They were too enticing to resist. Just outside of Little Italy, the food is wonderful, and they have a wide selection of loose leaf teas which are hard to find. We only had about 30 or 45 minutes to eat. Even though they were very busy, they seated us, served us an excellent meal with fresh loose leaf tea, and we paid in about 35 minutes. It was shocking how efficient they were! We didn't even tell them we were in a hurry, this is just how in tune they are with their customers. I could tell that many people were not in a rush and they were not being rushed. This place has a really great vibe, excellent attention to detail, and are very attentive to their patrons. My family and I will definitely be back frequently.

It's always been good. They need to step up their coffee and pastry game, though. The pain au chocolat was very mediocre. Especially for the same price CDL charges.

This is my second visit at Atwater’s Belvedere Square for breakfast. I was picking up my glasses in the vicinity and decided to give one last chance for breakfast. So disappointing again! My bacon was so burnt and scorched that it fell apart when I tried to pick it up. When replaced, I was presented with dripping grease bacon and not the extra bacon that I paid for. I advised that I paid for extra bacon and received after. My potatoes were so old that they taste like they’ve been stored for days in the refrigerator. When I put my fork in the potatoes they cracked and fell apart. The taste was awful. Most of the onions on the potatoes were recooked and also scorched. So much grease. The eggs freshly cooked but poorly presented. They were also semi-burnt. The presentation overall was horrible. The taste was very dissatisfying and quite disturbing to my tastebuds. Again, this was my second visit for breakfast. It is most certainly my last. My first visit with my son was horrible. I had to have our food remade. The bacon then was also super burnt and potatoes were old and everything was dripping with grease. I will continue to bypass Atwater’s during my visits at Belvedere Square. To add, my dissatisfaction of the scorched bacon was not displeasing to, I think, the manager (Asian female) as she poured the new bacon as the grease dripped ahead of the bacon, on the rest of my food. So distasteful and just disgusting. Maybe the fix would be new management, food & safety classes, presentation classes, updated/refreshed customer service courses. It’s such a poor look on Belvedere Square overall.

Of all of the Atwaters in MD this one is my favorite. It has so much charm and it is quaint. It is great for solo or group breakfast or lunch. I really love that they change their beverages with the season. They also offer local jams/preserves, pastries, kombucha and kimchi. It is easy to drift away here with a latte and book for hours.

I have eaten breakfast here several times. However today 7/30 8:00 am the service wasn’t up to par. I asked for extra syrup and it was never brought. I asked for soft bacon 🥓 it was hard. I requested cheese on my egg, the cheese was just thrown on top barely melted. I called for more syrup, not wanting to leave my plate outside. When the syrup was brought to me it was ice cold. Wow….before this the service was top quality. So the 5 stars I would have given has been reduced to 4.

I've been going to Atwater's for a couple of decades. Their soups and salads are wonderful, and for the period when dinners were offered, the vegetarian entrees in particular were terrific. Also excellent espresso and coffee. I do feel, though, that the bakery items and desserts are not what they once were. I remember their having delicious things like almond pear tarts once upon a time, and several excellent fruit pies. However, nowadays all the baked goods seem to me wayyy too sugary and lacking in actual flavor, from the muffins to the chocolate cake to the key lime pie. Also, unless one sits outdoors, weather permitting, the noise level in the renovated Belvedere Square food court is really really high--not conducive to conversation.

Had the Angus Beef Burger. Ordered it well done, it came out more like medium rare. Fries were OK, nice and crisp thin ones. Service? What service? It's all self-service (ordering, paying, etc.) except they bring the food to you. I can tell why it wasn't terribly busy in a densely populated neighborhood on a Friday night.

Crispy, charred, flavorful—possibly the best part of the meal. No Jedi mind tricks here—just phenomenal execution. 🥒 Fried Pickles Tasty and crunchy, but $9 for five spears? That’s almost $2 per pickle spear (basically one pickle sliced five ways). For that price, I expected them to sing... or at least harmonize with the ranch. 🧊 Iced Tea Refills? You’ll need to sell a droid. $4 with no refills was enough to send me straight to a glass of water. And honestly—on a meal over $40 (with food, tax, and tip), a refill should be part of the package. It's tea, not hyperfuel. 📱 ToastTab Digital Menu Here’s the curveball: you scan a QR code and are expected to order through your phone using Toast. Fine in theory—until you realize they ask for everything: name, phone, email, card info, mailing address... just to order dinner. Felt more like applying for a mortgage than grabbing a burger. I ended up going up to the bar to order directly (pro tip: there are no servers to take your order at the table). 🚀 Final Verdict Rocket to Venus lands a solid hit with flavor—especially those Brussels sprouts—but the outdated website menu and ToastTab data grab threw off the flight path. Still worth a visit, just bring your patience, your appetite, and maybe… your own refillable iced tea.

Ordered the house old fashioned and a Korean fries. Food and drink were great. Wish the service was better. I waited 27 minutes to be greeted(I was sitting at the bar), after I ordered and received my food/drink, I was again, invisible. I had to wait another 12 minutes just to get a knife with my food. I feel like I was being ignored the entire time. And then, another 30 minutes to get my check. I could see Alex the bartender side eyeing me when he walked past me several times, so I know that he knew I was patiently waiting the whole time. He served over 10 people that came in after me before I could even get a "Hello". I think he overheard me talking to the people next to me when I had mentioned that I kept getting ignored, so he finally acknowledged me. I was here for almost an hour and a half because of so much wait time to order one drink and one appetizer. I won't be coming back.

It’s a cool restaurant. Lots of the staff are in bands or former performers (so said our waiter), so it’s cool to chat music with them. The service isn’t great, but they are friendly enough and I wasn’t in a rush so I enjoyed myself. Delicious food, but the fries were a touch too salty.

Fun little place with awesome food! We liked how we could seat ourselves and order through toast from our table. We got the pierogies to start and the onion crema for dipping was perfect. For our entrees we got the shrimp and grits and the a1 burger. Both were flavorful and very well balanced. For dessert we chose the fried PB & J, which was heavenly! All around a great experience!

It’s a cool looking restaurant with interesting local art featured inside. But the food was honestly pretty disappointing, both the cheesesteak and the vegan gyro were super meh. I’m not a huge fan of the system where you order your food online, it feels impersonal, although the staff were friendly.

Mediocre experience. We had to order our food through a QR code and not directly to the waiter, which made getting refills of soft drinks impossible. The food was average, nothing to talk about. The vibe was pretty dismal.

No complaints at all. The inside was smalls but the service was quick and efficient The food was amazing , the service was beyond great , and the overall wait time sit and eat was little to none. I definitely would come back for the south side breakfast sampler … it was delicious !!!

I was quite impressed with this diner. I love pancakes but have stopped ordering them when I go out because they taste like they're made from a mix instead of scratch. My husband encouraged me to try the pancakes here and I'm glad I did because they were delicious. I also ordered a side of bacon and it was done exactly how I like it so I was quite impressed dining here. The service was excellent. We sat at the counter and the waitresses chatted with us and ensured our coffee was topped up. I'd definitely return 👍

Quick, Delicious, and Friendly Southside Diner really impressed us! The food came out incredibly fast, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful—especially the Athena omelette with feta and gyro meat, which hit the spot. My partner also enjoyed their omelette, and we both thought the coffee was decent too. Great value for the price, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

I really enjoyed this place. A pretty standard breakfast and lunch diner with really good service and great food. Prices were also reasonable. A great place to go to sit at the counter and grab breakfast or to go with a group of people.

The food was amazing. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was just a little loud. Dishes being banged together and a kid sitting on the most squeaky stool kept going back and forth squeezing it. That's why only 4 stars for atmosphere. The rest was great.

Today for breakfast we hit Southside Diner located on Fort Ava. The food was good my first time dinning 🍽 there will be back again 😍

Quirky little neighborhood joint, tried it for the first time as it has had a bit of a "buzz" 🐝 and found out there is a wizard in the kitchen! 🤩 The French toast platter was amazing - tons of French toast, scrambled eggs cooked perfectly creamy in the middle, and the best scrapple I've had in Maryland so far by far - crisp and toasty on the outside and soft in the middle. The turkey sausage with American cheese on a bagel was very good - the eggs were perfect again and tons of creamy cheese. (Should have probably tried the biscuit instead - next time..😇)

Another awesome visit to Simply Marie’s. The food is home made and delicious! Please wait for your order as everything is cooked to order. The menu is awesome. Staff and chef are amazing. A real Baltimore gem. Portions are generous. You need to eat here!!!!

Tried this place after hearing good things from neighbors. I can’t say I have enjoyed the food. I get this is a simple place, no Ac on a hot day, I get it, but for the very up to par price with other brunch places in the area, a little comfort would be nice, aka, real silverware to cut chicken with. Bacon was overcooked, the home fries were very undercooked. The waffle was def good. Nothing to say on customer service, but the food was disappointing.

Had a great experience at this restaurant. This is my second time visiting from Detroit and I love the food. Small family owned diner with really great quality food. The owner is the cook! Highly recommend the seafood omelette and the home style potatoes!

I wanted to love it. We all know local mom-and-pop shops usually have the best tasting food for cheap so I came hungry after a 2 hour walk. I spent over $16 on 3 overly oily and sugary pancakes, sausage, and small, ultra-sugared half and half. It tasted like I was eating and drinking a pound of sugar crystals mixed with 2 sticks of butter. I could only get through one pancake before throwing everything away. Hypertension, high blood sugar, high cholesterol, and diabetes aren’t cute anymore in 2025. It’s okay to pull back a bit. The guy at the counter was surly and seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered, but he did check on me. I would hope so after he asked me whether I wanted to add a tip (for overpriced food that no one served me). The tons of flies inside the seated area and swarming the outside tables added a nice, charming touch.

Simply Marie's is a great place for breakfast or lunch on the weekends. Absolutely love this place! Sad that it took me a couple years of living in Canton to discover this place. Now that I have, am a regular customer. Food is always delicious. Never disappointed. Recently my go-to meals have been a BLT on white bread or a steak, egg, and cheese everything bagel sandwich. Don't forget to add a side of home fries! You won't be disappointed.

This restaurant was recommended by someone traveling in my group but I will not return. I wanted a breakfast sandwhich with egg whites, but they "ran out". I asked how can they run out if they have fresh eggs? Can't you just separate the yolk? I was told flat out NO. Ok didnt see anything else I wanted to try so I still ordered the crossaint breakfast sandwich with cheddar cheese. Someone else in my group got her breakfast sandwich before me, her cheese was melty and looked delicious. I couldn't wait for mines. When my sandwhich came I did not see the cheese, was told my cheese was cooked into the egg? Never had a breakfast sandwhich made this way. It was VERY dry and disappointing. My husband ordered home fries but does not like onions. Asked for them to be prepared without onions. After waiting 30mins for our order we were told that all the home fries already have onions in them. Again something they couldn't make fresh. We were the last to receive our food in the group and noticed we never even for the home fries. Overall poor experience. Others in our group enjoyed the food but I regret the 25% tip that was left for the type of service we recieved.

Had lunch with another couple yesterday at The Corner Pantry on Falls Rd. This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. It's a very nice venue. You order, pay, and tip at the cash register before you even know the level of service you will experience. We had good service. I had Welsh Rarebit. This is supposed to be toast with a savory cheese sauce on top. The Corner Pantry adds thin slices of grilled ham. Unfortunately, the layer of savory cheese sauce was so thin that I couldn't even taste it. I searched under the ham and saw that the layer of cheese sauce was actually present, but the taste of it was overpowered by the ham. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly.

Very cute cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and pastries! The biscuits and crumpets are heavenly! Very fluffy and almost cloud like! Perfect for a sandwich! The chocolate chip cookies were delicious with a slight crisp outer layer and soft middle. Overall really nice spot to go hang out for a bit!

Had a late breakfast here. At 9:30 there was plenty of available seating both inside & outside. I had a Farm Plate and my son had an All Day Egg & Cheese (with smoked salmon). I also had an Apple & Rhubarb Streusel pastry. All of the food was delicious. Staff were patient, helpful and attentive. Restrooms were clean (there are two mixed gender toilets). Somewhat on the pricey side for breakfast ($67 for two with drinks/pasties), although what isn’t these days?

I love this place so much. If you order ahead they will have your carry out order ready for you to pick up from the side door. The inside is beautiful but often fairly crowded and the tables inside are pretty small and close together. There are larger tables outside of the sun and temperature are cooperating it’s where I prefer to sit. The food is not cheap but it is delicious and high quality. Service is good and friendly.

British cafe with a small menu of dine in and plenty of pastries/baked goods to choose from. We were in the area and saw this place on the map and decided to give it a try. You place an order at the counter and then find a seat. It was packed on a Friday morning. The inside is very small and narrow, with a lot of small tables. We ordered a sandwich, pancakes, and a sausage roll. The sausage roll had such good flavor but felt too buttery. The egg sandwich served on the crumpet was just ok, I loved the crumpet. I will just get the crumpet next time. The pancakes were my favorite. They were perfectly fluffy and had a sweet crunchy topping served with bananas. I love fruit so I wish they gave more fruit! Everything was delicious but on the heavier side. I’d come back to try the delicious looking baked goods! Parking there’s a lot and there’s extra tables outside if it’s warm!

I do love the Corner Pantry, and have been loyal customer for years, but the pricing has crossed a line into unreasonable. First, I do know how hard it is to run a profitable restaurant in 2025. Inflation is real. Staffing is hard. I’m so glad they stuck it out and am grateful they’re here. I always want to support great local businesses, and I was understanding for a time after their recent expansion about why they had to raise prices and seriously reduce portions. Sad - but okay. However - I think it’s gone too far crossed into some pretty unreasonable pricing - which feels excessive - like they know they have a captive audience with few other options - and they can milk it for all it’s worth. I was just charged $17 (after tip) for a SINGLE small PANCAKE (pictured), and $10 for an iced chai latte after tip. We’ve gone too far - and sadly just like I stopped going to Stonemill when a sandwich passed $20, gonna have to stop coming here regularly and make this a very rare occasion spot. Which is sad. I just think that’s predatory pricing. Maybe they can find enough billionaires for pay these prices - I guess everything is this world is for the super rich now - even our local bakeries. Let them eat $17 pancakes!

Stopped by here to have lunch at around 2pm, but since they close at 3pm, they had already run out of some great dishes (which narrowed our options considerably, because we’re vegetarian). We ended up getting two cold salads and some fries. The food was delicious! (The sweet potato salad was the best!) The place was crowded but during a slightly quieter time, one might be able to enjoy the ambience better. I’d suggest getting here early (looks like it’s primarily a breakfast spot), especially on weekends.

We were there for a 60th birthday 🎂 breakfast. We were seated quickly. Our waiter was fabulous. He was attentive, courteous, and had a happy attitude. A guy who took his job seriously with joy. I had a veggie omelet and buttermilk pancakes. I loved the omelet, eggs done just right with lots of vegetables and cheese. It was a big enough to take 1/3 home. The pancakes were delicious. The dishes others had were chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry pancakes, French toast, crepes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and English muffins. Everyone was happy with the quality, and the coffee was robust. This was my 1st visit. Ill be back.

Went to Original Pancake House with my family after church. A friend of mine said that the food was good and that I should check them out. The wait wasn't long, about 10 mins, and the host was pleasant. Our waitress was pleasant. My wife ordered the Southwestern Omelette with pancakes. The omelette was huge. My son ordered the chicken and waffles and hashbrowns. I ordered banana pancakes that came with 2 eggs, bacon, and choice of hashbrowns or home fries. I chose the hashbrowns and had onions added. The food was excellent. The pancakes were light and well sized. I would've preferred the bananas mixed into the pancake batter since the upcharge was 2.99, but they were good nonetheless. The pricing was good, and they included the gratuity in the bill. They allow service dogs in the restaurant. That may be a deal breaker for some. I asked to be seated away from the dogs. I parked on the street, but there is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. We will be going back.

Generous, flavourful, fluffy, crunchy - they’ve ticked off all the right food adjectives and our breakfast was 10/10! There was a significant wait, around 20+ minutes, but the pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs and chicken&waffles were all worth it !

We have visited TOPH multiple times in multiple states. Our visit to this location is usually great. Today my pancakes, hash browns, and bacon all had a funny aftertaste. My eggs did not they were good. My husband’s pancakes had the same aftertaste. I notified the waitress and asked if the eggs were cooked on a separate grill. She stated they were made in a pan. I could tell that they were cooked separately from the other foods. I requested that my order be removed from the bill. The owner came over and apologized, which was greatly appreciated. However, he mentioned that they don't use chemicals on the grill. If you don't use chemicals, how do you clean the grill? I found that statement odd. It's okay if the grill was cleaned with a chemical or solution and it wasn't cleared off properly. I rather that then you don't use chemicals. Using plain water is not cleaning a grill and I would be silly to believe that a chemical wasn't used on the grill. My husband's food was good (shrimp omelet) and we will return in the future. I will chalk this up to an off day as no day will be perfect. The waitress was amazing and the other staff was as well. The waitress also apologized for the taste.

My waiter didn't seem to care much about the needs of his customers. When we got our bill there is 18% tip automatically added. This place is also kinda dirty..the kind of dirt that says, tomorrow the doors could be locked for good. In closing if you don't know what a half pound burger looks like, go to Pete's Grill on Greenmount and place your order.

Came in on a gloomy Tuesday for some pancakes . A friend of mine had mentioned this place , so I figured I give it a try . Came in around noon and the place was empty, yet very clean. The smell of hot pancakes was every where . . I ordered the 2x2x3 meal (pancakes , eggs and sausage ) and it was just okay . The pancakes had a weird after taste to it that I couldn’t quite out my finger on . My scrambled eggs could have been scrambled a tab bit harder and was sausage was great as is. Overall my food was just okay . My friend said his waffle was on point ! So basically the food was okay ( not bad nor great) . Our waitress was nice and attentive . I would come back just to try other items like their French toast

One of my favorite diners for an American breakfast. Best part about this place was the staff. So friendly and welcoming. The hostess was cheery and our server Johnny was so kind and pleasant. He checked on us many times and had a friendly smile and demeanor. This will be my go-to breakfast place.

Nice traditional place to enjoy a meal. Visited for breakfast as they open quite early. I took special salad, made fresh but toasts were either re-toasted or over toasted as they were burnt and felt not fresh to enjoy with salad. Overall, salad was nice with peas, juicy tomatoes - Charred Peas and Burrata Salad.

The food was so good! Hubby got a smash burger that was top tier but the skillet and waffle were great as well. We also got a mimosa pitcher and coffee. Ample street parking and our waiter was very sweet. First time coming and will return.

This was an absolute gem of a find! It seems so hard to find a stand out breakfast place but this place it is! The brioche breakfast sandwich was delicious and the corned beef skillet was perfect! The corned beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Can’t wait to come back and try some more foods!

Chucks is my and my partner’s favorite restaurant in Baltimore!! For a while, we were regulars for their brunch (like 2+ times a week)… but recently we tried one of their pop-up dining nights where the theme was AAPI-fusion dishes — they were amaaazing. We tried a Steak Nigiri, Shrimp Spring Rolls, Gnocchi with Pork Belly, Thai Shrimp Omelette, and the desserts (soooo good) we’re Mango Sticky Rice and Matchamisu (matcha-flavored tiramisu)! Every now again you have to try something new and everything we tried blew our minds with how delicious it was. More recently, my partner and I ordered our usuals - him a Turkey BALT sandwich and me an “Even Better with Cheddar”. They’re truly the best breakfast sandwiches in the city and the price is really affordable for the quality you’re getting. We also tried their Pride Pancakes (strawberry pancakes with Marscapone) and they were so good, I will definitely be ordering them again. Last note: Chuck’s service is the best thing about them. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and cares about giving good service, which just makes the place that much more special. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for both locals who need a breakfast spot and visitors looking for the best breakfast they can get around!!

August 27 & 28 / 2025 - Chuck A Cheesesteak Sandwich & Korean Bulgogi Sandwich - both weren't good Turkey BALT - This sandwich is good with extras like more Chipotle Mayo, bacon, tomatoes, and arugula. BLT - This sandwich is very good as well with extra spread. Their sandwich makers seem to dislike cover the sl8ces of bread with any spreads. Plain Pancake - Delicious! No bready taste here. Pancakes aren't dry either. Unfortunately, they don't go the extra mile and make Blueberry Pancakes. I'd be hooked for their breakfast if they served them. Outstanding customer service as remembered back in 2023. I gave a rating of 3 because of the drink and the salad greens. Yes, the salad greens were that good. The Elderflower Spritzer $13 was refreshingly good. July 2023 - We both ordered the STEAK 'N EGGS, which was supposed to be a 6 oz bavette steak. It was topped with chimichurri, which was too oily. The awful tough cut of steak was served on top a beautiful bed of greens in a delicious vinaigrette with hash, which are simple diced potatoes with onions, which are better than most American caucasian breakfast potatoes. My husband said that the grits & cheese were outstanding. Cheers to this. The rye toast was appreciated being that rye toast isn't easy to get at most restaurants. The best part of the entire meal were the salad greens. If you don't know what a bavette steak is TRUST us you don't ever want to eat it. It's tasteless, rubbery, and tough as a tire. It costs $17 and the dish is only worth $10. We would had been more than happy to pay $25-$30 for a REAL QUALITY 6oz filet mignon. This crap was really a shame. We also ordered a glass of the red house wine for the day, which was like simply drinking watered down grape juice, smdh.

The service was wonderful! We went on Wednesday, which is burger night. It was fairly busy, but we were still able to have a party of 7 sit together. The burger was really good! Not "the best I ever had," but definitely "wow, this was good and it hit the spot!" It's also hard to beat the price: burger, fries, and one beer for $15! Definitely going to go back to try the brunch!!

Chuck's is a hidden gem. Every time I get a chance to visit there for breakfast, lunch, brunch or burger night i am extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The staff is awesome and knowledgeable about their offerings. The chef always innovate with their staples to make each visit a unique taste journey. Always look at the specials, they are seasonally innovative and delish.

I came late night to get something to eat and immediately i regretted it. I was the second customer in there and the other people had food so they only had my order to make yet rushed it. The steak was grey and rubbery for a MW steak. I asked for hash browns after my food came and was given some that were sitting and they were hard and stale. My friend came to meet me and he said he was ordering and the server said “what you want” to him. Apparently he had issues with getting the key to the bathroom as well. After mentioning that I didn’t like the food they took the plates and took it off my bill they didn’t even offer to remake it. And when they returned they basically made my friend pay the bill as we were still eating and our plates were barely touched. Disgusting service. The server was still tipped well but the service and food was disturbing. There was a tea pot in my table that had about half a cup of old tea in it. No silverware etc, I love ihop but this location will never see me again. Oh and I forgot to add. We heard EVERY song and loud conversation that was happening in the kitchen they completely disregarded the customers. Rude management and inconsiderate staff.

Came here late night around 12 midnight, the server was wonderful although she tipped herself $20 on my card.. and the food portions are a little small compared to the prices. Did enjoy my meal though. 7/10

Good location and average service. But the food wasn't good. The pancakes taste wasn't looking or taste like IHOP made. They have one choice of syrup on the table! The A1 steak sauce given with little remain. With this premium location, this branch should be a landmark but it isn't.

Pretty bad from the start. Coffee pot was dirty and part of the top broken. No cream was brought with the coffee. Our waitress smelled like body odor. The hash browns and ham seem like they were thrown on the grill to warm and served. Hash browns were not browned hardly at all. Food was ok but iHop is starting to feel a lot like Waffle House.

This was my worst visit here yet…. The staff at this time of morning are terrible to say the least. I’d just returned to Baltimore, my home city after a few days of hard work out of town, hence the time of morning. Normally I’d have arrived later in the morning around 5am-ish. Today however, I’d returned a bit early after my twelve hour run, around 1:30am. Needless to say, after wrapping up my last job I utilized the local transit (MTA) MARYLAND to travel. I made my routine stops along my route home which includes IHOP located at 600 e Pratt street, where I like to get a bite to eat and a cup of Joe to wake up to before I continue on Metro to my residence. Thinking ahead I had someone order a meal for me seeing as though I had no desire to dinning in. Once I arrived at said establishment to retrieve my order I was informed by a server that they ‘IHOP’ was unable to full-fill that Door Dash order. 🤷🏾So in turn since I came to eat I had my order cancelled then attempted to order something different which I was fully prepared to pay for in person. Well… that didn’t go down well. I was left standing at the counter by the manager who retreated to the rear of the kitchen and didn’t return with any type of resolution. Only to later send an employee ‘THE SERVER’ to Tell me I had to leave. At that point I was totally upset. Who wishes to guess what happens next🫢 Yep, if you’re from Baltimore you probably guessed right, they called their personal security team…. The Baltimore City Police Department lead this morning by the one and only, officer Cooper or so she claimed. Wasn’t able to confirm this to be true due to her name tag being cover, as one could see in the videos. Nonetheless She entered the establishment, instantly dismissed me and held a conversation with NOT THE MANAGER but; you guessed it, ‘The Server’! Who in turn conveniently sold the Cop the “irate” customer story since I’d ordered through DoorDash there was nothing he could, especially not just take a new order. All he said was the food had been 86ed, restaurant lingo, for those who don’t know; meaning ‘THEY DON’T HAVE NONE!’ 🤷🏾 I’m still trying to figure how is this my ‘THE CUSTOMER’S’ fault? Regardless what my complaint was officer Cooper proceeded to ignore me then even had the nerve to call back up because I wouldn’t let her over talk me…… I’m Troy Mayo There Nothing special about me as far as I stand it, yes that’s what I said; STAND IT. I’m a focused man…. Just watch the videos KAREN don’t got nothing on me. Not to mention I’m….. I’M IN THE RIGHT I!!!!!!!

I want to first say that I didn’t look at the reviews before going. While there we were seated fairly quickly. But found ourselves siting for more then 20 minutes before someone even came to take our order. The manager (I’m assuming) happened to walk by and asked if we had our order taken. We said no and she then took the order. To tell the truth we were seconds from getting up and leaving to go next door to Popeyes. 😡 She brought out our coffee which by the way the carafe seemed to have shrunken. I think it only made two damn cups of coffee 😫 We waited an additional twenty minutes and still no food 🤬. At this point we were invested. Again I wanted to say F it and just walk out but tried to give them the benefit of doubt. They eventually brought out the food in pieces with was even more annoying. We had to ask for water. My girlfriends build a omelet was missing items she requested. Like WTH The food looked decent but not hot at all. They really need to either hire more staff or revamp the process-in how they run. I felt really bag for the manager because it seemed she was overwhelmed with her having to do EVERYTHING. We ended up leaving her tip regardless of the bad experience Would we go back probably NOT. I advise you to be mindful if you do go. Over all I ga e them two stars for her efforts

Took forever to get my breakfast ready at very early morning there wasnt even other customers I ordered a veg omelette without cheese they made it with cheese i asked them that its not what i have ordered they took it back and looks like they rinsed it with water and still there is cheese on the top

Haven’t been to this in a few years. I was pleasantly surprised! First stop: Fresh fish! Flounder. ( BTW within 1 hour he was almost sold out!) Next: Fresh mozzarella!! Oh my goodness. I feel a dinner is being planned… Then: fresh produce next to the cheese guy… heirloom , purple beans, amazing eggplant…next stop… Wait for it!… CHEESE! Lovely Lavender Gouda… you had me at Lavender! Max MAX MAX!!! The incredible spice man! Scored some Roasted Strawberry BALSAMIC Jam ( Max was enjoying a fruit pop…. Directed us to the “yellow umbrella”….) FLOWER POWER!…. Lovely Straw flower plant. YELLOW UMBRELLA FRUIT POPS: can you say YUMMINESS??? It’s a must have! We thoroughly enjoyed 1 hour waking around supporting local vendors You must go! There was live music and sunshine.

Great food choices and solid produce stands providing farm fresh selections. It’s not mucked up with a ton of people’s garage crafts, they have things you’re going to want to buy. Parking can be a bit tricky on the smaller roads, but you won’t be disappointed.

Great selection of produce and other vendors. Musicians vary and have been good each of the three times I've been. My only wish was for shade and seating.
