This place is awesome! The food is fresh and hot and they bring it to you when it's ready. They are a Coke (in a can and yesterdaythe can was cold which is my favorite!!) place and also have a bar. Every dish we have had has been delicious! Love the small plate/dim sum/tapas selections as well as the other specialties. The chef is Peter Chang who is a James Beard awarded chef and it is easy to see why. I just cannot say enough good things about his food. Can't wait to go back again!

My husband and I had a little brunch date at NiHao in Baltimore after hearing numerous recommendations, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We came for the all-you-can-eat dim sum and ended up ordering nine dishes—every single one was fantastic! My personal favorite was the vegan cucumber salad, while my husband’s favorite was the pork belly. The spicy dishes had a nice, but tolerable, kick and packed with flavor. We both thought the Mongolian beef was just the tiniest bit too salty, but overall, we had no complaints. The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again! Highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious and fun brunch spot.

NiHao’s new all-you-can-eat dim sum & tapas brunch is hands down one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in Baltimore. For $32, you get access to a beautifully curated menu filled with elevated dim sum and creative small plates. The vibe is casual-chic, and the service was warm and attentive. I almost couldn’t stop ordering. Har gao (crystal shrimp dumplings) are one of my all-time favorite dim sum dishes, and NiHao’s version did not disappoint—delicate, flavorful, and perfectly steamed. But the real surprise? The hot chili oil ma po tofu. I almost never order tofu when there’s meat on the menu, but this one was packed with depth, spice, and that addictive umami flavor. I can’t stop thinking about it! Add a pink mimosa or house beer for $6 and you’ve got a new weekend ritual. Reservations highly recommended. I’m already planning my next visit.

My third visit... and it does not disappoint! We had the Peking duck, the dumplings, the spicy eggplant and the spicy chicken. It was all delicious but the standout dish was definitely the spicy eggplant!

I absolutely love and yearn for two types of food: Pakistani Food and Szechuan style food… I’ve been a fan of Peter Chang’s restaurants for many years, since first trying his location in Short Pump over 10 years ago. I’ve tried the other NiHao in Crystal City and really liked it…. Also tried his Peter Chang location here in Baltimore and enjoyed the food as well, so I really have been wanting to try this particular NiHao for a while and finally did today. Going in on a Saturday, I got there about 10 mins before they opened and waited… I was the only one outside when I first got there, but about 15 mins after they opened, they had a steady stream of customers walking in. I sat at the bar and was taken care of quite nicely by Jennifer. She provided great info on how some dishes were prepared, as well as offering good, friendly service. All the food I ordered came out quickly and was very fresh and tasty. I loved everything, from the cucumbers to the bamboo fish – it was all excellent! Highly recommend stopping in, especially for brunch on the weekends. But make a reservation, as they are quite popular!

This is a quaint little place with the most Amazing food I have tried since I have been in Baltimore. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly. One of my favorite restaurants that I have tried. I have been out many time in the last 2 weeks.

Tried their vegetarian spring rolls — crispy and filled with a flavorful veggie mix. Best enjoyed piping hot! The real highlight was the egg fried rice and mapo tofu combo — absolutely next level. The egg fried rice had a smoky wok hei, with small bits of egg and scallions that added so much flavor. The mapo tofu was outstanding — spicy from the chilli oil and delivering that signature numbing kick from Sichuan peppercorns. Definitely a spot I’ll revisit just for the mains — they’re that good.

I ordered a mushroom stir fry, but what arrived was more of a slimy soup with raw mushrooms doing laps in it (see photo). Naturally, I asked if this was the right dish and they confidently responded something like “some stir fries render water.” I couldn’t eat more than a bite and will never step a foot in this restaurant.

I went for a quick dinner and ordered the Beef noodle soup. Fast Service, but the food tastes just fine. It's good portion and Worth the price.

I ordered food thru a third party app, I did not eat in. I really wanted to like this more, the reviews were not too bad on DoorDash (but then I saw the reviews here). What I got, though, was a lot of really odd food. The Shrimp Fried Rice was unbelievably bland, like NO flavor, it was like chewing air. So strange, honestly. The Wonton Soup was better, but loaded with a seasoning I have never noted in Wonton soup before. Not necessarily bad, just not what I was expecting. The Egg Rolls (2 pcs) were the most "normal" of the items I got. It was pretty basic and well made. No fortune cookies, no Chinese mustard included. So, yeah. Kinda meh. I don't see myself ordering here again.

I love Red Pepper, I think their food is excellent, and the service is great. This place has the same owners and the same menu but not the same quality. I never send food back, I hate making a fuss and everything's always my fault. But the sweet and sour ribs were frankly bad. It was overly sweet, weirdly watery, and the meat was hard, as if it had been precooked. Our server was very friendly but kind of pushy and didn't really ask us how the food was. The next time we saw our server they were bringing us the bill. We told them we didn't like the dish, they insisted it must be not to our taste because they sell a lot everyday. And that was the end of the conversation. It was so strange to get that response. I wouldn't make a big deal about it but the we paid 70 between 2 people for a meal that was not good. In this economy?? My mom wants to add that the banister to go upstairs is very dirty. She said, "How long has it been since they cleaned it? A hundred years?"

Love this place, love their food and the authentic options. No other Chinese restaurant in Baltimore measures up to Orient Express. Always fast and spicy. I don’t understand why there are all these recent bad reviews, maybe sabotage from newer competitors….I’ve been coming here for years and I have never had a bad meal. I recommend it to everyone!

Five Stars. 4 for Atmosphere only because they're always busy; mostly. Very patient and welcoming staff. Able to cook variations of both heat and sweetness for all dishes. Up there with Changs near Hopkins Med and Chius in Greenspring Sta.

Decided to go to China House after realizing our regular spot was closed. Had a taste for beef yakamein (yat gaw mein) and figured we’d give them a try. We ordered the beef yak and 4 wings w/ fried rice. The wings were okay, pretty usual from what you’d expect from a Chinese carry out, had a nice crisp but the rice was not good. It had a funny taste & was not at all seasoned. The yak gaw mein was not what I expected nor what I’m used to. It was very soupy & made with fettuccine noodles instead of the thick udon type. The flavor of the sauce was too sweet for my liking and clearly had a ketchup base. Also there were little too many onions. Overall, the customer service was good but the food was not the best so I probably won’t be back.

It was good. Prices were pretty good. Food needed more salt. Could order over the phone, no online ordering thru the store, wish they had had that. Delivery was pretty quick- within 35 mins. Dumplings were just ok, too thick for my taste. Good place, not great. The food looked better than it tasted imo. And I was really hungry and food usually tastes better when you’re really hungry so take that as you wish.

I brought shrimp egg foo young last night, and I couldn’t eat it because the shrimp was Spoiled. This is the second time that I had a bad experience with Sunny’s carry out. I won’t be eating there again.

My wife got the pepper steak and it was not edible. She said it did not taste like beef at all (not going to say what she said it tasted like) and it was mostly chopped peppers. I wasted $13 for her platter. I had the sweet and sour chicken and the sauce (on the side) was cold, straight from the refrigerator. I also ordered the 5 piece jumbo fried strip. I'm from Detroit and the way the Chinese restaurants prepare jumbo fried shrimp it's like a jumbo ring, batter dipped and delicious. Sunny's was simply a breaded fried shrimp, possibly from a bag of frozen breaded shrimp. Not impressive for $6. Also, they prefer cash.

The first time I came to this location I met a very nice respectful young man. I ordered wings and fries with bbq sauce. He was very sweet gave me no problems. The 2 next times I came to this location I dealt with a very nasty attitude older woman she up charged me for things that wasn’t up charged before and when I tried speaking with her she waved me off. I m a Chinese but this is no way near Chinese food taste. Wonton soup is the worst I have taste as pork has a funny smell. Ordered noodles but does not taste good. Fried rice is ok.

Sunny's is your friendly neighborhood spot for carry-out. Value is great for the volume of food you get. I usually order 3 dinner items to share with my husband (and end up with leftovers for the next day). General Tso's chicken is a must-have. The yat gaw mein is great if you're craving lo mein, but with sauce similar to what you get with chicken & broccoli. I really like their drunken noodles... I could go on and on. I basically just keep score on a menu with the hits/misses on every order. 😆 I definitely recommend you give Sunny's a try. They do a great job. 💯👍

I am really unsure how EVERYTHING I got could be so terrible. Pepper steak= like chewing bubble gum. Honey chicken= hard as a rock. General taos= very similar to honey chicken, hard as a rock but smaller pieces. Sweet n Sour chicken= no flavor but atleast you can chew it. Fried rice= very bland. Extremely disappointed and wasted $50. No one in my family of 4 ate this food accept to taste it. I guess if I had to recommend anything it would be the egg rolls but I just suggest you pick another place unless you like anything you order to taste like jerky.

Hidden Gem in Baltimore! On our drive back home from NYC, my wife and I stumbled across this amazing Asian restaurant in Baltimore—and wow, what a surprise! The standout dishes? The ribs and the potato dish—absolutely incredible. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor, and the potato dish was unlike anything we’ve had before—crispy, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Easily the best we’ve had in a long time. What really made the experience even better was our waiter. Super friendly, welcoming, and really informative about the menu. He gave great recommendations and helped us understand some of the more unique dishes. We weren’t planning to stop in Baltimore, but now we have a reason to come back. Food is great! 4 star because I do miss some of their old menu items, steak in the eye of the tiger is a tad overcook to me but overall the flavor was delicious. love that they kept the noodles! Service is great and very attentive! Love how they decorated.

Coming to Water song is always a great time! We love talking to Colin about the new dishes and his ideas. Zizou is always a great waiter, he smiles, make you feel like family, and is very attentive! The food is always fresh, you can taste almost every ingredient in each bite!

The Snapper was absolutely delightful along with all the other food. The Honeydew mint cooler is the perfect drink as well. Thanks to our servers Zizou we will definitely be back he was the best!

Food was so good!! Everything is made to order. Came for the AYCE lunch special $25 per person for the regular menu which was more than enough. They do have a premium menu for $45per person.

I waited almost two years to come here and was really disappointed. There are huge portions, the price was amazing, and the service was great so I almost want to give it 3 out of 5 stars but it just didn’t live up to the hype of what locals said at all.

Egg drop soup was good but we the wontons were pretty plain and just noodles. The soup was average but I also understand that it is a kosher eatery. Ordered the one soup item and came out to $15 which seemed steep. Overall, I would go again but would want to try other dishes to see if the soup experience was an outlier or the norm. The fried noodles or the Chinese casserole and Moo Goo Gai Pan loo la like other good dishes.

I ate here several years ago knowing it was star-k certified kosher but did not know it was non-jewish owned. Although star-k is very reliable in general (based on a prior mashgiach I know personally) I would highly recommend not relying on star-k for this specific restaurant. That said, the service and food is highly recommended for those who are able to eat there.

Amazing food. Everything is kosher so obviously the tastes differs a bit from the typical american-chinese food. In my opinion, the flavor was less salty, more natural, and subtle. Still everything was so so amazing! I love an authentic taste & this bistro delivers on that. The portions were huge. Bistro style, definitely somewhere you take a group or family! Seating is limited, and big groups reservations are recommended. Staff were lovely!

Pretty good Chinese restaurant. Sesame crispy was crispy and great flavour. The soups were the best I’ve ever had. They give you tea for free from a nice tea mug. Restaurant could be a tad cleaner.

I ordered hot and sour soup and cashew chicken as the lunch special. The soup was okay but it was such a tiny portion. The rice was cold and the chicken only had broccoli with it. I wish they put dried red chillies which I see in other restaurants in their cashew chicken. Also some other vegetable like carrots would have been nice. The flavor was so bland, like the other review said I don’t think a Chinese person is cooking it because he definitely did not put in all the spices to make it an authentic taste. Its too small for people to sit in. Also there were large flies sitting on my food. I hope they buy some bug spray to kill them.

Actually the best Chinese food/Dimsum in the entire Baltimore area. The staff is so kind and helpful and the food is top tier and authentic. Definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for amazing Chinese and a great price.

I'm so disappointed that I'm editing my previous review about how much I loved the Calamari. I've ordered from here for over 10 years - and the Calamari was my go-to but why would you send out obviously burned food. So what that it was a Uber eats order - I would have rather you canceled. I could even have ignored the charring but it tastes like smoke and burned oil. I can't get refund and can't take it back because the restaurant is closed. Thirty bucks wasted. They look lighter in the photos but they are very much burnt. Update : Refunded via UBEats

I've been coming here for 7 months, this place has become me and my friends go to spot. Reasonably priced, most Authentic Chinese spot in Baltimore. The owner and his wife are awesome. I've never had a bad experience here!

Just ordered from here. All of the food came and it tasted fine. The crab rangoon was delicious (which is why this is 2 stars and not 1). However the drunken noodle was only mildly spicy when I specifically ordered very spicy. They provided no utensils: neither chopsticks nor forks. The delivery person ignored my comment to buzz in and instead waited across the street until I came to the door.

The food was so regular and basic I don’t think this restaurant has real Asian people cooking the food because the food was not hitting the way it should have been hitting. It needed more salt and pepper

Disappointing Experience at This Peter Chang Location I’ve enjoyed dining at various Peter Chang locations before, so I was quite excited to try this one. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be a significant letdown. Upon entering, the atmosphere felt more like a food court in a grocery store than a restaurant. When I approached the counter to inquire about seating, the cashier responded rather condescendingly, saying, "You pick up the menu, read the menu, come back here, order the food, and pay for the food." His lack of courtesy was surprising and unprofessional, especially he was just a cashier and he was treating a new customer this way. The food selection was diverse, which initially seemed promising. I ordered the Peking duck (half), bubble pancake, and pork soup dumplings. The Peking duck was decent but felt overpriced for the portion size. The bubble pancake was visually interesting, but unfortunately, the taste was underwhelming and excessively oily, not resembling the typical Chinese pancake I expected. The pork soup dumplings were satisfactory, but again, the portion size didn’t justify the price. It’s worth noting that utensils and water are self-service, which further detracted from the dining experience. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this location, especially considering there are other nearby options like Red Pepper or Tea Horse that offer a far better experience for a similar price.

My review might be different if I went for lunch instead of dinner, as it was relatively empty and some things interesting characters came in and wandered the restaurant while we were eating. First, and most importantly, the food was incredible. We ordered a bunch of dim sum, and a scallion and egg fried rice. Overall, we ordered the pork soup dumplings, shrimp shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, beef pastry, gluttonous, rice, Chinese burger and the scallion and egg fried rice. The food was delicious, especially the shrimp shumai, the beef pastry, and the fried rice. The staff was friendly, but unattentive unless prompted by me, but it could’ve just been an awful night. Will definitely be back for the food, but likely for takeout

While staying the evening in Baltimore I came here because I was in the mood for some authentic Szechuan food and I’m very familiar with Chef Peter Changs and his restaurants. The concept at this location is fast casual – You walk in, place your order at the counter, they give you a number and you sit down and they’ll bring your food to the table. The young girl taking orders was very friendly, helpful, and nice to talk to. Their menu is slightly different than Mama Changs or the Peter Changs full-service menu I’m used to. But I found some items that really appealed to me, including one of my favs, which is their Bamboo Fish. I also tried their sizzling mixed pepper chicken. Both dishes were tasty and perfectly prepared! Nice spice to both as well. The venue is small, but has plenty of tables… on the weeknight I went, they were pretty busy the entire time and most tables occupied. But that girl working the counter did a great job clearing tables and talking to customers in between taking orders. Highly recommend stopping in, especially if you like authentic Chinese eats!

My date and I stopped here for dinner. I was intrigued by the dim sum (they are kind of like appetizers). So we chose crystal dumplings, cumin lamb skewers, and an order of combo meat lo mein to share. Food was hot, dumplings were freshly made, noodles had good flavor.

My overall experience in this restaurant is not great. This is more of a fusion place, none of the dishes we tried tasted authentic. I feel bad to say most of the dishes competed to be bad. The dishes we ordered are as follows 😅 Crystal Shrimp Dumpling - Bland and tasteless - Bad Pan Fried Chive shrimp Dumpling- Good- safe to order Signature Pork Soup Dumpling- Good-Safe to order Pork and shrimp shumai - okay - safe to order Cumin chicken - The meat is dry - Maybe order Dan Dan noodles - Very bad - tastes similar to lomein I didn't taste any sesame or peanut. Curry chicken Rice Bowl - Worst dish I ever ate - stay away from this please. The curry is very bland Big chunks of potato pieces hardly any chicken in there. All you taste is mild curry powder. Szechuan Pop chicken - Okay/bad- maybe. There is no sezechuan element. It's more of honey glazed chicken. Scallion Egg fried rice - very good -⭐ Star of the day . Even the table we were seated are sticky. We requested one of the waiting staff to clean the table but it didn't help either. I was told by my friends Columbia and Rockville locations were good when compared to this one. I wouldn't recommend or return to this place to anyone. Sorry team.

I've visited this small restaurant several times. Overall, the food tends to be quite oily and salty. For example, the fried rice and fried noodles we ordered for takeout were drenched in oil and soaked in soy sauce. The Sichuan boiled fish, which I actually like because it's numbing and spicy, was also very oily and salty. Even dishes like the mushroom with bok choy, which should be light and refreshing, were overly greasy and salty. The pan-fried dumplings we had for dine-in were disappointing, with several of them having broken skins. However, the bubble tea was quite good, and I enjoyed it. There’s no parking available here, so we always end up parking in a paid parking garage about two blocks away. As for the service, it doesn’t even meet the basic standards. On the plus side, the décor is modern, clean, bright, and tidy, making the space feel comfortable.

For some reason, I had the idea this was more restaurant like, but it was more diner or college eatery vibe. It was clean and bright, which was a plus. You have to order at the counter before being seated and grab all your own utensils and napkins. This part wasn't clear or explained up front, so this contributed to a lower rating for the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and they checked on how our food was a couple of times so service was good. My food was outstanding! I had the limoncello shrimp and the Cherry Blossom Combo, which included duck soup with vermicelli, firecracker salmon roll, honey grapefruit tea and pickled daikon. Everything was amazing, but now that I am thinking about it, I'm not sure I got my picked daikon! Portions were very, very generous. My one friend got shrimp and broccoli, another got beef and another I think cheken and beef lo mein. Will definitely return, but likely for takeout.

I've tried the beef noodle soup and the chicken and rice as well as the boba tea. I feel like both dishes are a little bland for my taste, and the boba tea was too sweet, but to each their own. The employees are always super polite and cheery, which I do appreciate.

The chicken was ok, a bit too salty. The rice was not hot enough, feels like it was warmed by microwave, some areas that were not heated enough were a bit hard to chew. Overall ok to have your tummy full, but definitely not worth 4.0+ rating.

Being from Southern California where there are alot of boba shops, this spot was a great hidden jewel. I've tried their popcorn chicken with the braised minced meat. My husband tried their orange chicken and both food was really great. I also ordered a passionfruit tea and it is up to par to my favorite boba shops back home. On a different visit I had the chicken again but with curry rice and a taro slushy. Taro slushy could be better but the chicken doesn't disappoint. The price is on the high side but still affordable. Will definitely be an occasional treat for me to go here.

I ordered through UberEats and I’m disappointed in the way my food was packaged, especially during a pandemic. The bag along with the food that I order inside the bag was completely opened. No-fault of the driver, however, there were no safety protocols made when my driver picked up the food. Literally the bag was not sealed, tied, or anything and the food inside the bag was wide open like I ordered from a fast-food chained restaurant. I order through UberEats often, this restaurant was by far the worst in safety protocols, and sustainable packaging!

My review is solely based on the food. The service I received is 5 stars. Today was my first time trying their food. I ordered the General two chicken and chow mein. I requested mild, however it was spicy. I tasted a lot of soy sauce and a little sweetness. The food was hot, however I didn’t like it. Not sure why there’s a lot of 5 star ratings. It’s also overpriced for the serving size. The serving size is equivalent to a lunch special. Unfortunately I will not be a return customer.

I will NEVER order from this restaurant again! I just paid $19.11 for something that is not edibles! The chicken was too tough to chew and the bourbon sauce is runny like water and tasteless. The best thing was the egg roll. I have been ordering from this place since 2010 NEVER AGAIN! They charge me $3.00 extra for lo mein noodles when it should have been free. I didn't order a separate item. I am highly upset and disappointed! The driver was looking for a tip when he didn't even get out of the cat to ring the bell let alone you have to go outside and walk to their vehicle to retrieve your food. The quality and quantity of this place has gone down throughout the years! I will take my business elsewhere!

I would consider this the best Asian restaurant in the Hampden, offering an excellent balance of quality and affordability. The flavors are consistently impressive, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience.

We actually went there by mistake, I thought I had clicked on a different page that was near my father's house. However the service was great and when we got home everyone agreed that the food was excellent!!!

I am a doordasher, delivered from here,never eaten.Food smelled so damn good..I ordered HouseFried Rice and 2 cheesesteak egg rolls 😋 Delicious. I will purchase again.

I haven’t been here in years but realized the Chinese restaurant I did use to frequent next door had shut down. I ordered some shrimp yak via phone call and the person who I spoke with had a soft and very kind voice. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and my food was hot and fresh in a bag. They were VERY kind and sweet. When I got home and finally started eating I realized that this was not my favorite. The noodles were quite bland and didn’t give that original Yak taste I so desperately was looking forward to tasting while visiting baltimore. I was disappointed with the taste but must admit the shrimp were very fresh tasting! If they can perfect their yak sauce a little more and keep that same fresh seafood…they will be unstoppable!

I called in a lunch order for Sweet and Sour Shrimp. When I got there, they asked me to wait a few more minutes. They counter attendant was polite. The food was fresh, but the portions were small. I paid $6.75 for 4 shrimp and fried rice (see picture below). Next time I might try to spot next door.

I would give this restaurant actually 3 1/2 stars. I was in the area and I thought I would give this place a try. I read many reviews about the Sesame Chicken so I order that, and side of string beans. I thought the Sesame Chicken had a good taste but the string beans was average. Inside the restaurant was clean, and the cooking area was clean as well. All in all this place is worth a try.

Do no expect any type of quality service. The delivery driver is extremely rude changes the prices when he gets to the stop if you don't give a tip not to mention all the food has a grease aftertaste never see the female owner wash your hands before grabbing food to throw in the wok. Also had an issue where my total was $31 but they charged my card $310 when called to correct it they made it seem like it was my fault that they punched in the incorrect amount long story short like I said do not expect any type of quality service from this establishment in my opinion they should be shut down and I hope that the owner sees this and tries to contact me and correct this issue

If you are looking for GOOD Chinese in the area, DO NOT GO HERE!!! Go to CHINA ONE! never had any problems and always soooo good there. This place is disgusting!

Bad costumer service, Ordered some food and asked for Chicken Broccoli and instead got Shrimp, When i called to ask for a refund a lady started yelling at me and instantly hung up. If you consider to get food here I recommend you to not.

Sorry. I usually take WAY better pics than this but I was sort of bummed out and was like whatever. Because I am SO tired of getting meh or even bad Chinese food esp.since Covid Not the best Chinese food by a long shot but they are actually not as bad as some I've gotten lately. Egg roll had 1 baby freeze-dried shrimp but was ok tasting. Dry, hardly no liquid whatsoever + very VERY SMALL portion AND not much shrimp in my lo mein dish but then again not too many places anywhere giving up that much meat in times like these. The lo mein just tasted of garlic & fish sauce nothing else. In their defense, only 2 ppl working when I went; both doing phone orders + walk-ins and the other person also back there cooking. This Pandemic is tough on everyone. Their phone was ringing a lot so they must be making somebody happy.

The Neighborhood Bird Bun was legitimately one of the best things I've tasted in recent memory. It was also very unique as I have not seen this kind of combination of ingredients/flavors before. Initially I thought the price would probably not be worth it for just 1 bun but the portion was quite big and I'd be happy to pay that price if I wanted to eat this again. The big negative, at least for me was the extremely loud music with the bass turned up to 1000%. Maybe the employees like it (cannot be good for their ears) as well as their usual demographic but really was not for me. Practically speaking, the music made it difficult to hear the names when they called out the ready orders, obviously as well as engaging in conversation. Many times we couldn't tell if they said my name or not when an order was ready. If I get this again I will definitely do to go and put in an order ahead of time. Other than that, usually at these casual kind of places I don't have anything to say about the service but here the employees were noticeably very friendly. Eating the bun was very messy so be prepared for that.

Stop scrolling and stop in. It’s one of the best places I’ve ever ate! Flavorful and unexpected pairings. I sure love this spot. Good came quick for how busy they were. 1000/10.

Health: While fried food doesn’t lend itself to the most healthy diet, the blend of white rice, kimchi, and legitimate Asian/American fusion veggies tossed in soy sauce and not grilled in oil balances it out. Price: For this taste and portion size? Excellent. Though not particularly “low”. Definitely satisfying though. Experience: The most “alive” and “trendy” food scene in Baltimore. Small restaurant, big heart. I got my second meal there for free due to being a government medical researcher during furlough. But regardless, clean, convenient, and speedy. Great on all accounts. Taste: A genuinely unique Asian/American fusion. Where other locations will rehash food drowned in oil, this place takes the best American and East Asian food elements and balances them excellently. Asian sauces over fried chicken. White rice with kimchi. Large protein and veggie portions with rice accompaniment (that’s the actual way real Asian food is served by the way). Honestly unique and Amazing. Yeah I’m coming back here again. And I already have. So is everyone else in town. A core port of Baltimore’s food scene. A cornerstone of Asian/American fusion in general. Food and culture wise.

Ekiben is one of the best spots in Baltimore! The food is amazing.. fresh, flavorful, and always delicious. The service is super fast and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. On top of that, they’re giving free meals to government employees during the shutdown. Such an incredible gesture that shows how much they value their community. Ekiben is the kind of place that makes you proud to support a local business. Highly recommend!

Yup. It is true. It was packed and for good reason. I had the neighborhood bird (not spicy) on a bun and it was very perfect 😊 the bun did get a bit soggy because it took me 30mins to get home, so the bottom part was a bit softer and squeezy, but it was delicious. The chicken is super juicy and tender, the outside is light and crispy, the sauce was like a honey bbq creamy thing with a bit of tang. The herbs complement it beautifully (i dont like cilantro but i always order things the way they were design and i tweak them, so i left some cilantro and it was great. Totally recommend. The rice bowl is probably great with that sauce 🤤 it was almost sweet, i will try the spicy next time

Ekiben is one of those Baltimore spots you just have to try. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon right before the rush hit, which was perfect timing since it did get busy. I ordered the Neighborhood Bird and went for the spicy version. It took a little longer than I expected to come out, but honestly it was well worth the wait. The chicken was super juicy inside, perfectly crispy outside, with just the right amount of heat. Some people might find it overly spicy, but for me it was spot on. The herbal mayo added a rich, creamy balance that really tied it all together. The steamed bao buns themselves were excellent. Super soft and pillowy, they tasted fresh and likely made in-house or locally. Pro tip: Eat your sandwich as soon as you get it so the chicken keeps all its crunch and texture. It’s a fast-casual spot with both dine-in and takeout options. The interior was clean and inviting, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful even as the place got busier. Price-wise, my sandwich was about $14–$15. Sure, that might seem a bit much for a casual lunch, but the portion was solid and it definitely filled me up. All in all, Ekiben is a great spot in Baltimore for bold, flavorful food. Ordered a diet dish for someone and orange chicken. 1st they combined the rice to one box when the other order was going to a different house. So I forfeit the rice to them. Received a call 30 minutes later that the diet dish was suppose to be steam chicken. Shrimp and broccoli. They put mushrooms. Zucchini and carrots in it as well. Only issue is the person has mushroom allergies and ended up in ER. never again!

So it's hard to find a good Chinese restaurant here in Baltimore... From my days as a child, a chicken wing from an Asian restaurant consists of a drum, flat and that third piece sold together, this establishment sells them separately. It is a total rip off when they should be sold together. Because I didn't know they were being stingy with the food but want to charge regular prices, now I have to purchase more food from somewhere else to satisfy my family. Even their picture for wings, is a whole wing on their menu!!! Never again...smh

The General Tso's Shrimp and General Tso's Chicken is amazing. Vegetable Fried Rice with Egg is well seasoned and taste delicious. I will be back!

I order from her every single time I want Chinese food. It's so good I can't even describe it. There has been maybe one time in 50 where maybe it wasn't it's usual greatest but it's still far better than all Chinese food restaurants in the area. I used to solely order from New Han, then we found Daily Sushi, and then finally this place. I promise you the worst thing about this place is the hours. Not being able to eat this at 9pm is criminal. PS. If you're looking for egg drop soup you will find nothing better. I get it with every meal.

Just got an order from China Wok and it was terrible!! I must have ordered onion egg for young!! My cakes were loaded with onions and I had asked for extra shrimp and one cake had four little shrimp in it!! My fried scallops didn’t taste fresh at all!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫 This will be my last order!!

Pretty particular with General Tso’s but was pleasantly surprised with how crispy yet perfectly sauced Wok’s is. Food ready in 10 minutes; genuinely impressed with quality for the price. Thank you!

This place use to have great food and we would frequent often. This is the second time we’ve tried this place within the last 6months and this time it was worse. The food taste old, it’s cold, and barely enough sauce to put over your rice. We were given the wrong food; I’m not sure how you mistake shrimp and broccoli for chicken and broccoli but they did; someone in my house is allergic to seafood. What a waste of money! Save your money and go elsewhere.

Mediocre at best. This place had good reviews so I wanted to try it. What a mistake. I ordered a combo meal: sweet and sour chicken, lo mein (paid $2 extra), and a pork egg roll. I also got an order of crab Rangoon. The egg roll was good and crispy. I wish I got a dozen of those! The lo mein was plain noodles with soy sauce. Very dry! Not worth the extra $2. The sweet and sour chicken was just okay. Some parts were tough and over fried while others were stuck together and the batter still kind of raw. The crab Rangoon was overly fishy and tasted like it was mixed with flour and water, and nothing else. Yuck! The sweet and sour sauce was incredibly watery. Will never order from here again!!

Food use to be good but it has declining for a while now the chicken being old refried and tasting like old grease and dry and corner being cut to save money like no soda options. It is obvious more cuts are being made and food quality is now impacted. Where you can get your food quick and fast 15 mins or less it may not be enjoyable when receiving it.

The lady owner who usually takes my order and her son who helps, are always nice and friendly. The general tso chicken is good. However, sometimes I may have 1 to 2 pieces of chicken that are too chewy and the sauce is sweet to me, even though it is supposed to be spicy. I usually ask they make mine very spicy. They are accommodating too. I like their pork fried rice with extra onions and vegetable lo mein. The spareribs tips are okay. The scallion pancake tasted okay too, but it was dense and not soft. Overall, I find it to be a very good place for Chinese food.

I would order ahead of time. They make their food fresh, and it takes a minute to cook, so be patient! Delicious wonton soup and well priced. You get large portions and the staff is so sweet. You can tell they work really hard to make sure everything is right and delicious for you. The atmosphere was okay. They had one table for dine in and it's in an awkward spot of the restaurant, but it wasn't bad. This place is more for to-go orders. Loved it! Will be back! If you are into frozen-to-deep-fryer food, this is your place, but I wouldn’t call it food. After watching them prepare a variety of dishes for the 40 minutes it took to get me my order of sesame chicken, I really had no desire to eat it. Maybe other dishes are better but I won’t be back.

Stumbled across this gem while searching for a reliable Chinese carry out spot after moving to Baltimore from PG County... (if you're familiar with that area, then you understand the criteria).. Absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Orders do take a bit of extra time as they're made to order and from scratch, but that's the least of complaints. Ordered 2 dishes of triple delight, chicken lo mein, curry chicken, and a few egg rolls and everyone loved their food. Friendly staff, ran by the family by the looks of it. Atmosphere is 3 stars at best. Minimal seating if any. Primarily designed for carry out. Officially listing this as the neighborhood spot!

I got the 4 wings, fried hard with shrimp fried rice. The chicken was old, they might be using expired chicken but nonetheless it wasn’t fresh. The shrimp wasn’t fully cooked and they use the smallest shrimp ever. Overall experience 1 star! I wouldn’t recommend and I’ll NEVER go back. Total loss $12

The family at the Golden Wok is so kind. The mom is great!! The food is excellent. I always get vegetable lo mein and it has plenty of vegetables especially mushrooms. I like that she knows what you like. Give them a try if you haven’t, you will not be disappointed.

I waited 25 minutes for shrimp egg fu young I’m assuming it was one of the prepared meals that they had to defrost. I was very disappointed with my mail. I definitely would never ever return or recommend. The gravy was clumpy and looked old and just disgusting. The shrimp taste and smell old and fishy. The eggs are mushy shrimp not done all around terrible horrendous. Possibly the worst Chinese I ever had. Went straight in the trash

I enjoy ordering here a lot. I usually get take out, but did notice limited seating. They have these lovely guava sweets too. The price is excellent for the value they provide. I usually get the wok special fried rice or lo mein. My friend loves their beef fried rice. The portions are large and I’m usually able to eat it 2-3 times. I had the wonton soup once but wasn’t a fan. I am willing to try their other soups however. More bang for your buck. I’ll keep coming back. I love that they close late, good for those of us who close later in the day.

I order the beef yak with egg. Im not gonna sugar coat nothing, the food was horrible. I called to tell the manager bout the order an how the gravy looked like water or broth and it had no favor what so ever. She was very rude an unprofessional i would not be order from here again. We’ve been going to this restaurant for years (decades actually). We’ve never done the dine-in thing because it is much easier to get take-out and also the eat-in place is tiny and is used as overflow storage space. However, the past couple of months have been a heartbreaking disappointment. Once, we ordered a few items and ended up throwing half of them away due to funky flavor. The food was not fresh. At all. Fine, we let it go, every place has an off day, right? Yesterday we ordered again, fingers crossed that it is all fresh because we do love this place and you can’t discount a family favorite due to one strike. Everything was good except for the crab wantons. The dough was dry and then… we found hair. Two (we threw the rest out) contained short, dark, curly hairs that we PRAY came from the head and not elsewhere on the body. This makes me question the integrity of everything else we ate. Now we have to find a different restaurant because full stop on this one. Which is heartbreaking because this never happened before.

I have been to this location countless times over the years since it opened, and this was by far the best experience I have had. My “fake daughter” took me out for my birthday, which is Christmas Eve. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly. The server, Jake, came right over and welcomed us. These days, it’s rare to find servers who genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs and give honest opinions on the menu. We ordered drinks from the bar and his recommendations for appetizers. As someone who has favorites pretty much everywhere I go, it made me a little nervous, but he was spot on with his descriptions. I can never remember if I like the Crab Rangoon at different restaurants, but he assured us they are delicious and people always love them. As you can see by the empty plate pic (oops!), he wasn’t wrong! I ordered the Rising Dragon Cocktail, which was a fancy drink with a fun presentation, and a sprig of fresh rosemary, my favorite! It was delicious. I did stick to my regular, Mongolian Beef. I just love that it’s crispy, but not dry, tender, but not stringy, and has just the right amount of spice. It was cooked perfectly that night, and they didn’t forget the extra sauce I always ask for. My “daughter” ordered the Orange Chicken, if I’m not mistaken (possibly the Crispy Honey), and loved that as well. We sent our compliments to the chef. After our meal, we went to the bar, where the bartender, Jayson, also joined in the festivities and made me another delicious drink (or two!) that I can’t remember the names. (Don’t worry, I wasn’t driving!) As I said in one of the captions, if anyone has a Christmas birthday, they know it’s not often they’re made very special. I was expecting a crowded restaurant with slow/busy service, but as slammed as the Christmas season is, they went out of their way to make it beyond special! This night was all around perfect, I can’t thank you all enough!

Amazing experiences at PF Changs. I have celiac disease and they are always so great about accommodating. I LOVE getting the chicken or combo fried rice and lettuce wrap appetizers. The Changs Spicy Chicken is awesome too. Jake was our server and he was so attentive and kind. Definitely stop by and grab some good food with great service.

I’ve lived in this area my entire life and never bothered with PF Changs. On a whim I tried it tonight and I am so impressed. Pork wontons and chicken lettuce wraps were out of this world. As was the lychee martini. I especially liked that you could order different sizes for the apps and entrees. Our server was so kind and attentive. Every staff member we had contact with were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!

We went for my birthday and it was great. Our server Mustafa (Moose) went above and beyond to make our dining experience great. All the food was very tasty and there were large portions. Everyone had some to take home. To too it off they brought out a sparkler and sang happy birthday! Can't wait to go back.

Reckless, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable. We ordered dinner from P.F. Chang’s White Marsh through DoorDash and included Chang’s Spicy Chicken — a dish that, by all descriptions, contains no seafood. My wife has a serious shrimp allergy, and we clearly noted that in the order. Shortly after eating, she began having an allergic reaction. When we called the restaurant, the manager casually told us they cook chicken and seafood in the same fryer — like that’s no big deal. No warning. No disclaimer. No concern for people with food allergies. Let me be crystal clear: cross-contamination can be life-threatening. You’d think a national chain would understand basic food safety — but clearly, that’s asking too much from this location. If you or anyone in your family has food allergies, do NOT order from here. They treat serious health concerns like an afterthought and clearly aren’t trained to prevent allergic reactions. We won’t be ordering again, and I suggest you don’t either unless you’re okay with playing Russian roulette with your dinner

Food tastes yummy, great presentation and portion sizes are perfect - however, the food tends to be super saucy (Sushi, Salad, main dish) see video as reference. Free refills on the refreshers (it is filled up with a lot of ice though). The servers are friendly & polite. Lunch special price is affordable & good amount of food (about $13-$15)

My server Aidan was great! He was friendly and helpful and made my husband and I feel very welcome. The food is a little overpriced, but we were very satisfied. Aidan brought it out super fast. The chocolate cake was our favorite! We’ll definitely be coming back.

I used to love to go KB to get my fix on the awesome charbroiled hamburger. After a while I came back, again hoping for a delicious charbroiled burger. Well, they did something with their burgers. They now taste like chewy sawdust. I thought, maybe the cook had a bad day. So I came back to give KB a second chance. This time the burger tasted like charbroiled - you guessed it - charbroiled saw dust. This will have been my last visit to KB, unfortunately. They used to have such good Hamburgers ...

I've been a long-time customer of this place (38 years) and the last few years have seen a regular downturn in the quality of the food. I'm not sure wha tthe cause is but it all started during Covid. Today's experience was the worst and it saddens me to see this place go continually downhill. I hope they can recapture their original flavor and quality.

Staff were awesome and while I was here with a friend, clearly there was a family friendly atmosphere that felt warm and welcoming - will surely return with my kids at some point down the road (it's a four hour drive from NYC 😝) As far as my order, the double bite Burger was a solid choice - which I topped off with some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had (if your ever in DC the Char Bar ones are pretty solid too)... My buddy got the shwarma in a laffa, but it smelled so good I wanted some as well - thankfully they seem to sell it by weight so I manged to get hooked up with some without having to buy a whole Shwarma platter. Overall great experience and worth a second visit next time I end up in Baltimore.

Nice selection of kosher food. Nice amount and prices are reasonable. There's also a liquor store there. Selection of burgers, Chinese, and Israeli food. Next door is a kosher pizza place if you want dairy.

PLEASE READ. I ordered from this establishment thinking it was a chinese food spot. When I picked up my order and brought it home....I soon found out that this stuff is NO chinese food its a TRY (cry) at best. Do yourself a favor and save your money and go some place else. Very disappointed. Trying to get a refund was even more so difficult and I dont know why. I ordered geberal tso chicken and got something other than that and it didnt taste right at ALL. Check out the other food reviews. Im not alone. I wish i would have taken the time to read them.

Golden Dragon has a solid vibe, especially if you're stopping by during happy hour — great prices and a good selection. I tried the wings and shrimp egg rolls, which were okay, but nothing too memorable. The shrimp fried rice seemed to be the crowd favorite, so I might give that a shot next time. What really stood out was the friendly staff and skilled bartenders who kept the drinks flowing and the energy up. Worth a visit, especially if you’re hanging out at the bar.

I bought food from here for the very first time on 9/12/25. I ordered Shrimp and Crab Egg Foo Young. They charged me for the crab, but there wasn't any crab in it. I also ordered Lamb Chops with Red Potatoes and Asparagus. The Lamb Chops were very delicious, but the Asparagus were a bit overcooked. I loved the Lamb Chops so much that I came back the following Friday, 9/19/25, to buy them again. I requested that they not cook my Asparagus long....leave a little crunch to them. I came straight from work, in Anne Arundel County and after picking my food up, I went home, in East Baltimore, to enjoy my meal after a long day of work. The Lamb Chops were AWFUL!! They tasted like they were boiled with no seasonings!! And my Asparagus were even more overcooked than they were the week prior. I was so disappointed. I know that they have plenty of of customers and they lost this one....real quick. I HATE SPENDING MY MONEY ON HORRIBLE FOOD!! AND I REALLY HATE DRIVING ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN FOR HORRIBLE FOOD. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Today I went in and ordered shrimp fried rice, extra shrimp. My daughter ordered some last week and the food was good. I'm sorry I wasted my money. For $9.00 I was ripped off on the extra shrimp. It was the same amount of shrimp that was in my daughters order. I expect shrimp in every bite. The fried rice was bland. A rip off and a waste of my money. When I called the store to speak with the manager I was transferred to a line that just rang. I tried leaving my name and number and they transferred me to a ringing line again.

The music was off the chain love the vibes. The drinks were the bomb the food I have never seen so much food with excellent prices.

Everything your need in one ,restaurant Sports bar gaming machines lottery and it’s huge and has lots of parking for maybe more than 30 cars 🚘 great food. Lots of parking in the back and sides. Here I go again with yet another disappointing food post. Unfortunately I've decided that I will not be ordering from here anymore. Today was the last straw. The quality is so bad. How do you get fried rice and lo mein wrong? It's so funny because the food is plentiful but soooo underwhelming. It tastes like it was reheated and packed tightly! I should have learned my lesson back in April but I thought I would give it one more try. 3 strikes.... I'm out! Yuck. Yuck. Yuck.

Sooo good! Best bang for your buck. Best Chinese/Japanese in the area. Cannot beat the price. I’m pretty sure I’m eating Mai Fun for three days. Highly recommend. Do not order through grub hub if you can. They’re a small business with free delivery within a 5 miles radius. Let’s not give them a percentage of our money. Support small businesses, that’s how they keep it affordable for us.

We ate dinner here last week and the food was the worst we've ever eaten here. My husband's meal and my MIL's meal had way too much salt. Our egg rolls were all dough with no veggies inside. This place has always been a great place for a good family meal. We wont be in a hurry to go back.

Fried rice trash tasted like the one minute microwave rice . Not real fried rice , too soft and watery . Too too much breading on the general tso chicken, barely any chicken inside . Horrible, first and last time ordering from here . Chicken dumplings were good and the broccoli in the sauce is about it. Small portion of rice , combo with wonton soup only comes with 2 and without any fried dried noodles . Price good but not worth the quality of you have to throw it away and waste food and money anyway.

Shrimp egg foo young was bland, the white rice was not even good. The worst was the vegetable fried rice which was over cooked and bland. Their customer service is not great. I returned the rice for a refund and ate the egg food young bc I was hungry. I will NOT order from them again bc of they lack customer service and the food is not worth it.

I went here a few times the food is good but the lady that’s in the front does not know to talk to her customer. I gave a call to place my order to be picked up I asked a few questions I was yelled at by the lady then she hung up on me I called back to place my order she said 15 mins I showed up after 15 mins and when I got there i told her about my order she said another 15 mins so that means my order was not ready to began with just bad customer service all over be aware because your customers are most important talking to people like they are not human is insane I hope they serve better customer service in the future or hire someone else to take position because talking to people like that is not right! Who come frequently!

Just had an order delivered and the veggie fried rice that we ordered was not delivered. I called and was told they'd included it! We did not receive it though we paid for it.

Place fell off REAL BAD. I ordered bourbon chicken and fried rice. When I open the container and saw red chicken I IMMEDIATELY knew it was gonna be nasty. The chicken is super dry like it was prepared yesterday and reheated. The fried rice was mad bland!! I’m sooo mad I spent $10 on this! Could have went to subway and atleast got a meal I would enjoy. This whole bowl is now in my trash! Also we know the difference between a spring roll and a egg roll‼️Stop switching them out to save money like we can’t tell‼️‼️I will not be recommending to my coworkers or friends.

I use to love ordering here but the last 6-7 months the food quality has gotten worse. I’ve received chewy beef hard chicken and smaller portion sizes. Yum’s tofu will always have a spot in my heart but everything else is just not for me. I hope they get better. I’ll definitely update this when they do.

I asked for lemon chicken and they charged me 12$ for a cut up chicken patty that wasn't even defrosted. I will never in my life eat there again.

I’ve never been disappointed ordering take out from Yum’s Asian Bistro. The chicken wings, wonton soup and egg rolls are awesome! I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy of the young lady who works in the front. She seems to genuinely care about my experience every time.

We sat in to eat at Lee’s. We ordered a general tsos lunch with chicken wonton soup and fried rice, as well as, a dinner general tsos. We also ordered drinks and a green salad. The service was great, we were the only patrons. The soup and salad was amazing. The general tsos was disappointing. There is more breading than there is chicken. Reheating leftovers it’s even more apparent with the amount of breading, as seen in the picture below. Cut into thirds and 2/3s is breading.

The BEST! We love everything about coming here. The drinks, food, service and the low key establishment. Presentation is always on point! 5/5 highly recommend. Fire roll is tasty and cooked at the table for a fun experience.

I've been here twice, and I'm going to make this place my go-to takeout joint. The food is delicious and they have great portion sizes. They have good gluten free options, and their delivery time is excellent. They were much faster than the website delivery estimate. Dine in is also a good experience.

Delivery was fast on a Friday night, took less than half the time of the online estimate. Food was hot and flavorful. Plus gluten free options makes this my new favorite. Delivery fee is only $2, so that's really nice

I ordered the hot and sour soup and Singapore noodles. The soup had a ton of mushrooms and was very delicious. The noodles were also good

We ordered Kungpao Chicken, Fried Soft Shell Crab and Seafood Imperial. Chicken and crab were ok, but Seafood Imperial had mostly vegetables, 3 shrimps, 1 half of a tiny lobster tail, some super thin slices of small scallops and especially it did not have any squid as described in the menu. Very dissappointed with the quality of the seafood dish at such price compared to other Chinese restaurants we've been to. This is the last time we order the food here.

I ordered carryout...beef and broccoli and hunan shrimp. The food was made quickly, and was still hot when I got home. Overall the food was okay, but kinda tasteles...lacking flavor. Based on the reviews, it seems like the food is better when you dine in.

Long wait times. Noodles were dry. Egg rolls over cooked and burnt. I got food before work, got to work egg roll was so burnt and black looking. Once I got off I took it back with receipt, they gave me another which looked no better so I sent it back. They made me a fresh one and this what it looks like

This use to be my favorite one in the area. I totally get the fact that everything is going up or is higher. Service should go up along with everything else. I usually get the large plate, but the portions are getting smaller. When I asked for more not extra, I was told I had to pay more. If they scoop and stop shaking food off the spoon, I wouldn't have to ask for more. I get home and some of the food was undercooked so that day less was best.

Typically the food is decent but the egg roll was burnt and the grilled teriyaki chicken .. i got this as a doordash so i cant return as i am at work. i used my 300pt reward for thr roll. i am very disappointed!!

Employees are awesome. Manager, however, working today has absolutely no customer relations skills whatsoever. Should not be managing anything dealing with paying customers. Been coming to this store since they opened years ago as I work nearby. Don't think I'll be coming back.

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and shrimp with vegetables. It was pretty good but the shrimp I felt was slightly overcooked. I didn't wait that long to receive my order. I do plan on revisiting again real soon and I do recommend this place.

So stopped in to give them a try. There was a customer picking up there order. The person that works here is very nice and friendly btw. The reason for this rating is due to the wait time. I was the only person left once I placed my order and he said it will be 15 minutes. That 15 minutes turned into 30 plus. The food was not worth the wait

Got beef fried rice was horrible strange aftertast hope I don’t get food poison. The girl up front was very nice. My dog smelled it but I would not let him have any. He was sad. So I washed my mouth out and can’t get rid of the taste and ice tea makes it worst. Good luck.

I recommend that nobody supports this business. I ordered my food online and went to pick it up and the shop was closed. I and other people were waiting outside until was approached by 2 of their business neighbors and was told that the workers are never there and that they are always closed. One day they were there for 1 hour. Some never. Even though there business hours say they are open. The guy and I tried calling multiple times with no answer and no way of getting in contact with the business. I was able to get a refund from grub hub. But it’s simply not professional. I will not be going again. I was told that they food used to be really good.

We will definitely be going back! The two sushi rolls we got were far better than we were expecting from a strip mall restaurant. The rest of our food was great with flavorful sauces and generous portions. I do wish there were a few more vegetarian/vegan options. Prices are a bit higher than other places in the area, but still reasonable. We ordered take-out for dinner on a weekday and it was ready in about 25 minutes. This will be one of my go-to places in the area, especially if we're looking for sushi that doesn't break the bank.

I hadn’t had Chinese in years. I ordered 4 appetizers all 4 were SO greasy I know they were fried but they were actually WET that’s how greasy they were. The shrimp toast was burnt. They said 10 min. I sent my husband he waited almost twenty min. That’s not awful had they not said 10 min. You know how usually They give you lots of packets of sauce. I didn’t get one. Not one. I was out of soy sauce I didn’t have spicy mustard they did give as bowl of duck sauce. I just wanted some good egg rolls and spring rolls it was like drinking a cup of oil and they were that wet too!!)"

One of the best eats in the BWI airport. The check out gal even offered to fill our water bottles. That is how they got a tip, going above and beyond. Food was great, not greasy, and the area was clean and behind the counter looked well cared for. No alcohol or beer is served here. I highly recommend this Minnesota based chain. We will be stopping here on our next trip Baltimore.

We stopped here for dinner while awaiting our flight and ordered orange & bourbon chicken with fried rice and bourbon chicken, another breaded chicken, noodles, and string beans. It reminded me of your average cuisine but with friendly service. Prices are reasonable and I will return for my next flight.

Excellent airport prices. Nice workers. Fast. Good portion sizes. Plenty of seating. Sauce packets at the cashier register so you can take as much as you’d like. $9.49 for a huge bunch of food and it was all good Americanized chinese take out food.

That Leeann Chin meal rewired my DNA. After I finished the fried rice and Mongolian chicken, I stood up straighter. My posture improved. My skin got clearer. I could suddenly remember every locker combination I’ve ever had. I walked outside and birds literally started chirping louder around me — like even nature knew I had just experienced something divine. A dog barked at me, then immediately rolled over in respect. My phone battery, which was at 3%, jumped to 74% without a charger. At one point, I swear I blinked and saw the future — and in it, I was just sitting at Leeann Chin again, eating this exact same meal, because nothing else compares. I’ve had dreams less satisfying than that fried rice. That Mongolian chicken had me questioning whether I’d just eaten food or unlocked a cheat code for joy.

Penelope was so awesome. She was extremely kind and gave good insight on what foods she liked the best. We would definitely come back and we only had a connecting flight through Baltimore. Give her a raise!

Mainly a Chinese takeout place. It does have six tables. My group ate there yesterday. The kid was food was quite good, but we were disappointed that they didn't have any Chinese tea. The decor is nicer than the average Chinese takeout place but not quite as nice as an average person Chinese restaurant (see photo).

I lived 10 mins away and decided to try their food for the first time. So I ordered the orange chicken. Unfortunately, the sauce that came with the meal made the meat very soggy. So, I called to explain my concern, and a gentleman on the other end (I believe manager) was very cordial and accommodating. He told me to bring back the dish, and he would have the chef replace it. Upon arrival, a mature aged female (no senior) employee seemed irritated about why I was returning the food and became hostile, including her word usage. Yet I maintain being pleasant and understanding. Her refusal led to a refund in which she "tried" to short change me. Overall, my issue is the lack of respect even when one doesn't agree. And the insults spoken in Mandarin or Cantonese.

Years ago on Sunday night I loved some Shrimp Egg Foo Young from places on the SW of town. This was what I expected taste wise. An added extra is the shrimp were decent size and fresh. The shrimp egg rolls were really good. Delivery was fast. The brown gray could use a little more taste. I recommend this dish.

I’ve eaten there many times and it’s always been consistent and good. We usually order orange chicken, shrimp mai fun, and a jumbo shrimp dish (shrimp Hunan or Szechuan). Their spicy Shrimp Hunan or Shrimp Szechuan are consistently not spicy at all for me so I need to order extra spicy. I’ve also ordered requesting less/little oil and have been happy with it.

Good food, met my expectations. Fast delivery, lots of options! I recommend skipping the crab wontons (unless you love cream cheese), and the sweet and sour chicken (it was mostly breading and not much meat). I would HIGHLY recommend the pork fried rice!! We also ordered the chicken and shrimp chef special and it was delicious.

I got carry out, staff is not that welcoming. I ordered General Tso Tofu and this is the least flavorful i have ever had. It is not spicy at all, which I asked them to make it. 2 pieces of broccoli and the sauce was orange and sweet.

The quality of this place has fallen off a cliff. Back in the day (when older reviews were written) it featured an all-around consistent menu with generous shrimp dishes and the best lo mein in town. Since changing ownership every aspect of the food has gotten worse. Odd vegetable combinations, strange colorings, worse service, the Thai menu looked fun but has consistently proven to be a mess.

It was unfortunately really bad. I hate givi g things a bad review, but it was honestly bad food and bad service. The food was totally devoid of all flavor. It seemed imposible, but it literally had no flavor at all. The waitress spilt the bowl of soy sauce when she brought it out, and was never seen again. We had to clean up her mess. The plating looked nice, and the food looked good, but tasted bad.

This place was recommended to me by a colleague of mine whom loves Sushi.She gets something delivered from this place almost every other day. When I saw the menu i was immediately filled with excitement to try this place, the menu is the nicest printed menu I've every seen lol. It some how induces a feeling of authenticity. At any rate, I decided this was the stop the make before heading to the theaters. However, after ordering a couple sushi roles for my date and myself we realized they were soggy and warm.

My family and I went here for a nice sushi dinner. We were the only guest in there. It was nice and quiet until we got there...lol We love the sushi. I would always get delivery from this place. The sushi is delicious. 4 stars for the good food. Go check them out.

One of the weirdest bugs Ive ever seen walked past my shoe. Minus 2 stars. Only had the sushi and it was not good at all. Texture was not of fish lol seriously. Bad choice of soy sauce as well. Dirty environment inside and out. Never again. Sometimes I wonder where the passion goes in restaurants like these. When you opened up you had a dream, but somewhere that dream turned into lackluster service and bad food.

This family owned and operated restaurant lacks fancy decor, but makes up for it in fresh, delicious sushi. Their pork egg rolls are a nice surprise, but the sushi and mu shu pork really steal my heart. Try the King Roll, it is cooked, but the spicy mayonnaise is worth it alone.

My husband and I have ordered from Midori before and usually enjoyed our meal. Today was an unpleasant exception. Our order came earlier than expected and that was the only positive. First, whenever they list "crabmeat", note that it is imitation crabmeat. It's not the same and it it matter's to you at all, they should make sure customers are aware. The most unpleasant part is that my husband's roll had a piece of plastic in it. No clue what it could've come from, but it put him off and he couldn't finish his food. Shame. We'll definitely think twice before ordering here again.

The food was terrible. The rice was unexplainable I've never seen anything like it and it could not be identified, mushy and tasteless. The beef was Gray and looked old. My wife said the shrimp overcooked. My daughter's chicken tasted doughy and soft. Family dinner was ruined. We called to let them know and they offered us 10% off our next meal. Why would we ever come back? I just wanted to let them know something is terribly wrong with the food. I would not recommend this take out to anyone.

This place use to be our favorite. But it’s a hit or miss. Sometimes the food will be amazing so delicious and other times they will give you old food reheated from the day or so before, I wish they didn’t do that if they didn’t this place would be five star.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Other than being worried that the person taking my order was on speakerphone while I was giving her my credit card number. Once I addressed I felt comfortable. The food was great, the delivery was “excellent” and overall—> great customer service and satisfaction.

The worker was nice but the food........I ordered shrimp fried rice since it's something you cant really go wrong with. This food tasted like it was 3-4 days old(that's me being generous) the shrimp have a weird texture and seem dehydrated while the rice has been overcooked and somewhat mushy. Both components of this simple food were horrendous. If I had wanted bad food I would have went home and cooked the meal my damn self. Not eating here again. One and done.

Stop by here on a whim to get fried rice to accompany my leftover homemade baked chicken. Spicy fried rice with carrots, peas, and onions is all I wanted. It fell short on taste, which was bland, the rice used for me wasn't a good choice. I have had better tasting fried rice than this. Customer service was short on friendliness and comprehension as if maybe she didn't want to be bothered today. A no go for me, I pray they get better all around!

Order a large low mein that look like a small. Taste like dirty grease. And ribs tasted a lil freezer burnt. Egg roll was burnt. No forks or napkins given. Are they new?

They said free General Tos with $50 i spend $90 and they claim they don't have it no more, and only wanted to give me 10 packs of mix sauces... false advertising to get u to order then deny the product... this is the 3rd and last time in ordering from here

Oriental Wok is still one of the few places that runs their own delivery service and doesn't charge insane fees for it. The food is what you'd expect from a regular carry-out place. We order from here once a week.

Honestly speaking it’s not easy to find Chinese Restaurants that make really good General Tso and Orange chicken. Oriental Wok is the best place in the east Baltimore area for these dishes. Every single time I order my favorite dish it’s perfect. The chicken is not soggy and perfectly fried with the right amount of crunchiness. The sauce is a perfect blend of spices and sweetness that will have you addicted. Thank you Oriental Wok for making me love this dish again that I have eaten since I was a kid.

My girlfriend's family has been going here for like decades...and I could see why. Even though I live in Mt Vernon, I never miss a chance to pick up some Oriental Wok when I am in the mood for Chinese. They have managed to keep their prices reasonable while maintaining quality. Not an eat-in facility but the classic carryout atmosphere is nostalgic. 10/10 would recommend!

Ordered Pepper Steak w/ onions. There was absolutely no steak with the meal. Paid $12 for rice and onions. Will not order again from here.

I started going here, had good experiences within 2 weeks. Then today I got the same thing sesame seed chicken with spareribs The spare ribs had a 20 in long hair wrapped around a rib and touching the rest I’m sure. I ate 3 of them before finding it. I took everything back and they would only give me a refund for the ribs not my other meal I had no appetite for. Poor customer service at that point. And hair nets are cheap.

The environment is elegant and the food is always fresh. The service is fast and cooked according to your needs. It is always just right. Don't ask, go and see for yourself.

I stopped there today because I was hungry for a basic chicken Fried rice. Gosh! This is the worse i've ever had. No taste at all. No ingredients. Rice partially cooked. I'm very surprised because Fried rice should be basic. I took it at home to season it better. First Time and last.

If you’re thinking about ordering the steamed shrimp, which says medium or jumbo, don’t do it I ordered medium shrimp. These are very tiny and they’re overcooked. They definitelygetting over.

I had a review in here about 5 years ago ...5 stars. I had too remove on 5/5/25. I did a pickup instead about 6 months ago. I was ordering from Door Dash. What a change. It was unorganized and DIRTY, Unsanitary. Haven't ordered since. Beware!!!!.

Amazing food for the price and friendly staff

Certain dishes are okay. I once had the triple delight that I enjoyed but yesterday I had the sesame chicken and it just wasn't what I was expecting. It tasted like it had been taken out the freezer and put in the microwave. I also really don't like the shrimp fried rice which I can't see how anybody could mess that up...smh. Have a lot of soy sauce packs on standby because the shrimp fried rice is very dry, in my opinion. I'm actually being generous by giving this place 3 stars

When I was a senior at Morgan State, I found this place — and I loved it. And I had some today after about 12 years and it didn’t disappoint. This food is good without drowning it in soy sauce. Not a pretty inside though. I remember it looking much better inside. Hopefully the business will once again look as good as the food tastes.

I've been a loyal customer for the better part of 14 years, but I have noticed in the last few years prices are going up but service is getting worse. For starters when you call whoever answers the phone is often rude. But tonight is where I draw the line and take my business elsewhere where as she takes the order wrong and I ask the delivery guy to wait while I contact the restaurant not only does he leave but with the tip. So I'm giving up on hoping they get back to where they used to be I'll take my business elsewhere. I'm at the stage in life where If I'm not appreciated or I feel I'm not getting great customer service when I'm supporting you and your family I'll find a better business to spend my hard earned money with

I ordered orange chicken with pork fried rice and egg roll with duck sauce tonight and got super sick an hour or so after eating, I shit water and my stomach hurts so bad like I’m gonna throw up. Will never eat from here again my stomach hurts so bad 🤢😩😖 spent $50 on dinner for the family, I was the only one with orange chicken and only one that used duck sauce. Nobody else who ate is sick yet but it’s only been 2 hours so will update if my kids or husband get sick also.

We just moved here from Florida and found Great Wall. It is the best chinese food we have ever had even better than the places in Florida.

This is your typical Chinese Food. I get the General Tso's Chicken lunch special. Price is reasonable and I think it is one of the better Chinese places around.

When I got to the restaurant I was scared. There were so many flies inside and outside the store that I was scared to go in. It was duscusting and itchy.

Great food. Fast service. I always have to ask for extra sauce on my food or on the side when I order shrimp and broccoli. I don’t have any other complaints. This is the only place I go for my carryout.

I've gone here for years and will never go back. They've screwed up my order the last 3 times. I order ahead and if they're our of something they just change your order instead of asking what you'd actually like in replace of what you've ordered, they chose the replacement dish for you. Love Fast wok! Generous portions, food is fresh and well spiced— I love that they have egg roll options without pork! Fast turn around. We’re grateful to have them in the neighborhood.

The food is good as far as I'm concerned because I just love Chinese food. Whatever you ask them to do, such as put the gravy on the side and another container, they take care of that. They have specials and they're pretty affordable too. And if you like shrimp egg rolls, you will love and I mean love these because they actually do put shrimp in them. Check it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed

I witnessed a man stating he didn’t receive 4 of his wings with his order, the owner was determined that he was lying. The guy seemed to be a professional mature man. He also stated that he was a regular customer, he left and stated they just lost a customer. Not that it was any of my Business, I explained to the owner that majority of her business is from people of color and she treated her customer like she could care less. We should demand a certain level of respect when we spend our hard earned money. Folks please realize you will no longer deal with us that way. I was a regular too and they just lost my business. Not all people of color are looking for freebies and we shouldn’t be treated as such.

Crab Rangoon lacking crab literally is majority cream cheese you don't even get to taste any of the sweet imitation crab and for that I'm so disappointed. Just a cream cheese Rangoon. Chicken was decent. Rice decent. I hope you guys fix your crab amount imitation crab is cheap enough for the right amount to be added for prep etc. Crab Rangoon is one of my favorite things sucks when it's not made properly.

Fresh hot nice portion size about $10 ($9.95) for Combination plate w/eggroll. Was greeted and told Have A Nice Evening. Friend of mines bought Chinese from here a weekend and it was so good that I wind up going back at the end of the following week to get some again. Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp & Broccoli, Beef & Broccoli, the pork fried rice served with the entrees, & eggroll here: Awesome! 👍

This spot reminds me of the old Chinese carry outs from back in the day. When it came time for me to order my food I had a very hard time trying to understand what she was saying. The lady did not speak good english so right then and there I knew I was going to get an authentic Chinese dish. I ordered the General Tso chicken and it was great!

This is my most-often go-to food place. It is delivery or take-out only. The food is always top quality, delicious, and prices are considerably lower than average. (The Pu-Pu platter is a very good deal.) I have come here for around 15 or more years. In all that time, I had only one problem, and the owner drove to my house to replace the order. My food arrives consistently in 35 to 50 minutes, and it is always hot. This is the only Chinese restaurant that offers brown rice as an option (white rice is not healthy). I never order white rice! This place is a blessing to have in my neighborhood! I buy enough to get the bonus free food, and I spend around $40 for three or four days of food. Having said that, the delivery driver speaks only the bare minimum of English, and even the owner can be hard to understand, but he is a good man who cares about good service, and he always has done an excellent job for me. I notice that some people have given LF very low ratings. (One crybaby called twice in less than 45 minutes because her food was not teleported instantaneously!) I don't know if there is a problem delivering to apartments, but I find most of the negative claims to be truly unbelievable. I do not believe them! I think they are just lying haters! Or they are not telling the whole story. They are probably working for some competitor to slander this fine business. How is it that everything has been perfect for me for 15+ years, and these few people say that they have had truly unbelievable problems?! Don't believe the haters! Lucky Fortune is an excellent restaurant with fine service! But they are closed on mondays.

Listen to me, this is a mom and pop shop So if your order doesn’t get delivered, it’s because they can’t deliver it. Walk some of the calories you’re about to eat off and go pick it up. I promise your excruciating walk won’t be gone to waste.

Staff is very nice and friendly. Loved the food. Super fresh. Loved their shrimp rolls. Shrimp Lo mein is good. Orange chicken was slightly chewy but mostly good.

One of the best Chinese food I’ve had. They only accept cash as payment. Fast and affordable.

The good: Sauce was good. Food tasted good. The bad: The "large" portion size was smaller than I have gotten at other places. I ordered the beef and broccoli. Also, in my opinion, there was less beef and more broccoli compared to other places. I ordered through door dash. My food arrived with no fork, no napkins, no sauce, and no egg roll. I called the restaurant about this, and they said that they don't do delivery, and that was the reason for the confusion and quality of service. They blamed it on door dash.

Food is good but give me bad service and I'm done. Ordered chicken wings and a shrimp egg roll. I noticed he didn't drop my chicken, he sat down and got on his cell phone watching a game or something. Apparently a woman ordered wings that were already sitting there and just in case she didn't come back, he was gonna give me her wings. As soon as she walks in about 8 mins later, he throws her wings back in the grease to heat them up and then throws the fresh ones in the grease, and gives me the reheated ones and tells the lady she has to wait for the wings he just started cooking. (My wings) needless to say my egg roll was cold. Thank you China Chef, you've saved me a lot of money.

Great food. Excellent prices. Nice ppl, very nice. But they are not enforcing face masks or social distancing. I waited for about 20 min for three young men wearing their masks around their necks, and starting to horseplay. Then a family with 4 children walked in, none wearing masks. I will miss this place. It's not worth risking infection for dinner

I came up in here and didnt have to wait long to get my food.. Fried chicken is pretty good, but u definatley have to add a lil extra seasoning to it to your liking. The little boy that work there was very respectful, but I could tell his moms was kinda irritated when I started to take pics. Its a good spot and I would come back to it for the chicken. Good eats!

I remember years ago I would order from this same store at least twice a week so I decided to order today. The food was just not good at all. The shrimp egg roll taste like plastic and the Tofu (bean curd) appeared like it was being recycled. I just threw away my whole $16 dollar lunch.

I eat alot of Chinese food but this was by far the worst I have ever had .. The general Tao’s chicken was just basically batter which was very hard and it had very little chicken inside of it. We didn’t even eat it ! The beef and broccoli had no flavor . Ordered egg rolls, I didn’t even get the sauce for that or even soy sauce and forks !! That comes with every Chinese delivery I receive . Learned my lesson I will stick to the restaurant I order from for now on I was giving this place a chance . Will not be back .

Everything was just okay. The shrimp had a taste like they were near going bad, and the same for the chicken from a separate dish. Everything tasted old and had bland flavor. The half and half was very mild. The price is okay for the amount of food. I would only return out of convenience otherwise there’s much better options for my chinese food fix.

I rarely do this, but this is completely inedible. The orange chicken smells and taste like propane and the “crab Rangoon” has nothing in it. I have had varying qualities of American- Chinese food in my life, but this is quit literally the worst I have ever had and I cannot even stomach to finish it. The mangle of crab rangoons in the picture was me tearing them apart to see if they all had nothing in them.

No matter what time of day it is (dinner rush or not) the child answering the phone will always say "10-15mins" it'll be ready. Well, when you get there in that time frame, you'll find he's said that for every single customer. This results in the wait being closer to 35-40mins due to the back up. As far as I've seen, it's only one cook in the back. I also asked for the food to be made spicy, which was never done. While standing waiting, the cook was getting frustrated with all the people waiting and started yelling at me for no reason, just because I was standing close to the counter? It was too crowded to sit anywhere else. The food is mid at best. I lived right across the street and could've had my business very frequently, but due to multiple tries and waiting way too long, I'd rather go further away for both better food and way better service.

The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. In the last 4 years I only had 1 disappointing experience with the food. The Singapore street noodles is the best ever!!!

I stopped by this carryout only restaurant because I was craving Chinese and it was on the way home. I ordered beef lo mein, shrimp kung po, and spring rolls. The total was a few cents shy of $30. When I took it home and my boyfriend and I started eating, we were beyond disappointed. The lo mein had absolutely no flavor at all and the beef had a weirdly mushy soft texture. The kung po shrimp resembled no kung po I ever had before. It was mostly carrots and the sauce did not resemble kung po. Very non descript. The spring rolls were ok. We ate a little and threw the main dishes in the trash. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for flavor. If you like bland food this is the place for you.

I ordered a small order of white rice and to my surprise there were literally pieces of hair in the white rice. I am highly dissatisfied and will follow up to share what was done about this situation. Unacceptable.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had and seen in my life the fried rice wasn’t even real fried rice it was white rice with soy sauce instead and the chicken look like plastic I wouldn’t recommend to nobody and the man who works there has a nasty attitude and they have the worst egg rolls I’ve ever had please don’t waste your money ppl

Pozole verde era muy rico! The chicken and corn soup was delicious! Everyone was so kind, the place was very clean and organized. Close to John’s Hopkins Bayview and adjacent Baltimores Greektown.

Best tacos in East Baltimore and the Pollo a la Mexicana is delicious too.

Torta de Millenesa de Pollo is fantastic, best I've had! Do not get chips and guac here, you'll be disappointed. Slightly overpriced in my opinion.

Absolutely hands-down the best nachos on the East Coast. My wife and I have had different nachos from different establishments and the way this family makes their nachos are legendary thank you guys for keeping the nachos alive😉🌆👍

I always come whenever I come to Baltimore since I live in Pennsylvania. It’s my favorite place to go. I even recommended it to my friends! Today, I’m very disappointed because I found a rock in my food like gravel! I didn’t noticed until I bit into my food. When I told my waitress, an older skinny lady, she didn’t apologize! She just said, “I don’t know what to tell you.” I guess she went to tell the cook. Not once asked me if I was okay or apologize. She didn’t retrieved the plate until she noticed I didn’t want to eat it. She also charged me the plate. I wouldn’t mind if I had to pay at least half of the plate. I’ve never been disappointed of place until today. By the way, it was the Cesina plate, and I found the rock between the rice and beans.

Hole in the wall. AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. I happened to order from here at the beginning of the quarentine time and did not disappointed. I have not gone inside, so I don't have a clear feeling of the atmosphere inside. I can tell its an authentic because the past reviews. Some places like this, don't have the luxury to have servers, and is a culture thing (in some places of Mexican city), where you order at the register or front desk, pay, take a sit and then wait for your food. Every time I have ordered from here, I get a surprise. We tried to order different things to have a good variety and be able to give a fair review. The portions are big and I will recommend you to try first with one item and then go big (for big good eaters like me, where you can order and then eat leftovers for another days). The place is not fancy, trendy, or hipster. Please have low expectations with being greet and get the menu. This is a place where you order, without being greeted and may pay upfront, then you pick your table and eat. Fortunately or unfortunately with this covid you can order and eat in the luxury of your house. If you really want to know what typical authentic Mexican food is, this is your place to go.

I found hair in my shrimp broccoli order. I had someone else take the order back to evaluate whether it belonged to someone and they said the hair couldn’t possibly belong to anyone there. The lady at the front said her cooks have no hair. You also cannot see the cooks clearly. I didn’t go myself because it was late and night and I’m a young lady. They were asked if they could make another, because we have been loyal customers for years and enjoy their food. The cashier refunded the family I sent & told him to find somewhere else to go. This has never been an issue until recently. My hair is in an updo so the possibility of it being mine was slim to none. I wish I kept a strand of hair to get it DNA tested to see if I truly made a mistake. But this is how they handle conflict with their loyal customers. The respectable thing was the refund. It is good, as far as flavor goes. Update: I asked people who ARE commoners to this restaurant & they saw some of the cooks & said there was a mix of men and women with hair. No hair nets were mentioned. They are dishonest.

Mayflower moved from a dine in/ buffet to a carry out across the street, shortly before the pandemic. They certainly must have brought the dine in chef along because food quality is above the usual Chinese carryout. First, small Hot and Sour Soup, while tasty the soup was very heavy with white pepper, as there was little to no chiles visible. The soup contained the perfunctory sliced bamboo shoots, egg ribbons and tender tofu, however the mushrooms were definitely canned and there was no chicken or Wood Year fungus/mushrooms, they were really missed. It came with a small bag of fried wonton which tasted fresh and crispy crunchy. My lips are still burning! Next up, Roast Pork Yat Gat Mein (or Yak as we Baltimoreans call it). I've had here before and I'm hooked! I've never been a Yat Gat Mein fan because of the thick over powering black sauce being the leading man/woman. Not at Mayflower! The sauce is there as a savory compliment to the deliciously bouncy thick noodles, little onion (could have used more), egg and amazing roast pork. The roast pork is definitely the star of this show. It is sliced to just the right thickness, not hard strips or ground like most neighborhood carryouts. It's sweet , savory with just the right amount of Umami. I LOVE it! Last but not least, Roast Pork Fried Rice with Shrimp. If you're anything like me, House Fried Rice can sometimes be a bit too much with not enough of my favorite protein adds. I order the Roast Fried Rice and just ask to add shrimp for an extra $2.50. The shrimp are of good size and the nice little cubes of roast pork add that extra umph. The onions, peas and carrots add good texture. Honestly, the fried rice is just so so, not too oily which can definitely be a plus. Everything was delivered super hot and tasted as fresh as Chinese carryout can be. Mayflower didn't get that extra star because of the overly peppery soup and the lack of wood year and no chicken to take it over the top. A little extra flavor to the rice would have taken it to the next level. I'd like to try their Egg Foo Young, fried dumplings and Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, maybe next time. A little picky I suppose but I will definitely go for Mayflower again and again! I almost forgot, they also threw in two free canned sodas, I think that little extra customer care takes them to 4.5.

So I order often I mainly order the same thing So not only in my time wasted but there is no cooperation. My residence is less than .2 miles away and they won’t give any consideration for the mix up they have caused. Safe to say I almost canceled the remake. They can cancel me coming back. They won’t even take my card over the phone for DELIVERY. Truly unfortunate but with all the support I bring. Y’all should have done better. Goodbye

My go-to Chinese takeout spot. Great value, tasty, and reliable service. Recommend the Singapore Mei Fun. Very sad that they're temporarily shut and hoping they are able to reopen soon. We miss you!

The food is good but the lady at the front is too much sometimes.. she’ll get smart even when you're being nice & they charge you way too much for extra condiments. This is why I'll spend my money at other food places that appreciates my business and don't nickel & dime their customers. she can use some customer service training and a heart for people.

I wanted orange chicken at 11 and they sold me orange chicken at 11. Servers were very patient with me as a first-time customer, I was in and out fast, and the food was cheap, tasty, and filling. I also got a free egg roll just thrown in - didn't eat it because I wasn't that hungry, but it was a nice gesture.

I order here regularly (once or twice a month) and have always been happy with the food. Staff are always nice and food has been delicious and consistent. I haven't tried delivery, but pickup is always ready in 15 minutes. Portion sizes are generous! I always have a bunch of food left over. I definitely recommend Mayflower.

There seems to be an issue when asking for light sauce, no sauce, different sauce. Since having to make health adjustments my order experience has changed from 4.7 to 2.0. Incomplete and incorrect order(s) zero effort making right. And count your change back on cash payments

Don't love their fried rice personally (a little dry) but everything else is good, if not great. Very quiet and quick service. I like it.
