Seafood restaurant
American restaurant
Thames Street Oyster House is a charming eatery located in the historic Fells Point district, offering a classic oyster house experience with a focus on fresh seafood. The restaurant features a raw bar and serves traditional and modern coastal fare. Guests can enjoy their meal downstairs at the main bar, upstairs with a beautiful view of the water, or in a lovely courtyard.
Exceptional service with exceptional food. We tried all of the oysters, and that was a great experience tasting the subtle differences between them. The lobster tail, claws and u-12 shrimp were delicious. The mussels and fluke were great appetizers and the lobster salad was exceptional. Not cheap to eat like that, but this was a great experience for a special occasion.

I think this was overall one of the best restaurants I've been to. The thing that stood out most was the service, which I would describe as Michelin-lite. Multiple employees even other than our main server coming by frequently to switch out silverware and used plates as soon as we were finished with something. Our main server was new, being shadowed by one of the managers. She did a great job and you would never be able to tell she just started so it seems the quality of the service here starts from the very beginning. There were some deals on happy hour oysters. There were 4 dipping sauces to choose from which added a lot of customization to the flavor. Being based in the DMV and used to the prices there, it really seemed like we got great value on the food. Not sure if the portion size to price ratio is good for Baltimore standards but at least for us we were very happy with what we got for the price. I can recommend all of the dishes we got, the Iceberg Summer Salad, Clam Roll and Scallops, all worth it in my opinion. I will say the two people seated near us both got the lobster roll and it looked really good as well.
Yiran L — Google review
First time in Baltimore and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this place! Our server was amazing. She knew the menu very well gave us amazing recommendations and overall the experience was great. We enjoyed oysters and of course a lobster roll. The lobster roll was perfect. It was perfectly cooked not tough and deliciously buttery. Thereafter, took a stroll by the waterfront. If you’re in the area, definitely a great place to stop and grab a bite.
Liliana C — Google review
The food was absolutely fantastic, with the lobster rolls being the star of the show. It was loaded with tender, succulent lobster meat, lightly dressed to enhance its natural sweetness, and served on a buttery bun . The crab cake was just as remarkable, filled with jumbo lump crab, minimal filler, and a crispy, golden exterior. Both dishes really showcased the restaurant’s commitment to fresh, high-quality seafood. The service was exceptional. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
Jim F — Google review
The portions were generous, everything was fresh, and the atmosphere was nice. It was busy, so perhaps that’s why, but the service didn’t feel particularly warm or welcoming. The crab cake was absolutely delicious, and the scallop ceviche was fresh with an amazing balance of sweetness and lime—highly recommended. The salmon was a special, so I’m not sure if it’s always on the menu, but I really think they should keep it—many people would love it. Note that they close at 2:30 PM and reopen at 5:00 PM.
Skylar K — Google review
One of the best seafood spots I've ever been too. The oysters were fantastic, and the sheet they give you is very informative. The place is small and busy so make a reservation asap.
Niko — Google review
We had an exceptional all-around dining experience at the Thames. I ordered the Whole Aegean Bronzino with excellent spiced taste that just peeled off of the spine and with a tasty heirloom salad. Others ordered a variety of smooth raw oysters, the Lobster Roll, Fish and Chips, and the Crab Cake which we were all pleased were shared. Teresa Marconi was an extremely knowledgeable and fun waitress, explaining the specials and menu in a straight forward, informative, and engaging way that added greatly to the ambience and our overall experience. Our only slight complaint is that the chairs are not that comfortable. This was a definite top notch food experience!
Kristin S — Google review
What a wonderful experience. This place was recommended to me on my flight into BWI. I checked into the hotel and grabbed an Uber over on a Tuesday night. It’s small and was full but they said I could put my name in at the bar. In less than 10min I was seated. Each oyster/clam was clean, fresh and delicious. The meals ordered around me all looked incredible but the crab cake looked amazing. At first glance I thought it was baked potato based on the size. Staff was all fantastic. I couldn’t recommend this more.

Crab house
Restaurant
Nicks Fish House is a casual dining spot in Baltimore offering seafood, burgers, and picturesque views of the Patapsco River. It's known for its live music nights featuring local musicians and bands, creating a vibrant atmosphere for visitors. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu with seafood specialties like Maryland crab soup, blackened mahi mahi, and crab cakes.
I haven’t been home to Baltimore in over five years. My friend suggested this place and we met there for steamed crabs. I can tell you that this place is amazing in every aspect the atmosphere the drinks the menu was extensive. They had so many options. Everything was hot and fresh. We had the crab dip which was so so good and we got a half a dozen of jumbo’s and a half dozen of large crabs. these crabs were perfection, hot fresh and heavy. It’s right on the water down underneath the Hanover Street bridge in a new area called the Peninsula. This was all new to me since I’ve been living in New York. This place makes me wanna drive back down right now the food was that good. The service was excellent. The waitress was extra friendly and I even got a bread pudding to go, which was phenomenal with the sauce and the berries this is a must stop when you are in Baltimore hands-down the new best place for crabs in my opinion.
Chrissy M — Google review
Service was incredible. The food was mostly great -- the crab pretzel was my favorite. The shrimp Mac and cheese and the crab grilled cheese were a little on the dry side, and I thought the cream of crab soup was a little bland, but everything else was delicious and we left stuffed and happy.
Rachel — Google review
One of the best seafood restaurants on the water. When you visit you will receive great food and customer service. They have a bonus which I love and that is sitting on the pier. My last visit some patrons pulled up on jet skis for lunch. I love to see people making the best of life and these gentlemen did it well. If you never tried a crab pretzel, I would recommend that you try it (preferably 2 or more people). It is huge and a Baltimore thing.
Kandice M — Google review
Great place to go with a few people. We (4) sat at high bar table which is first available no wait. Live music! The large crabs were meaty enough. Plenty of old bay on the crabs and salty. Loved the steamed shrimp, deviled eggs and chopped salad. I would definitely go back. Be warned parking is limited directly at the place; we did valet! There are a variety seating options but once full the wait can be long.
Kim C — Google review
I’ve been here twice before going to a concert at CFG arena. Amazing food and excellent service. Live music both times I’ve gone and it creates a nice experience. Also there is a second parking lot and a shuttle bus that takes you to the restaurant! 10/10 will return again!
Gisela — Google review
My wife and I had lunch at Nick’s Fish House on the Bay. Loved the atmosphere — right on the water with a relaxed, casual vibe that makes you feel like you’re on vacation, even if you’re just out for lunch or dinner. Everything came out hot and fresh, the staff could have been a little more attentive we waited on condiments like ketchup pepper extra plates and cocktail sauce I ordered the fried oysters, and they were very good, breaded and fried to a golden crisp on the outside. My wife had the crab cakes, they were loaded with lump crab meat, very lightly seasoned. We also enjoyed a couple of drinks by the water and enjoyed the view. If you love authentic seafood, this place is absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back!
Steve D — Google review
The waiter was great however they didn't bring old bay seasoning after asking. The crab pretzel as an appetizer was great. The fresh catch fish (Salmon) was incredibly buttery and not that great. The original crab cake was good/okay but the combination tastes like a filet-o-fish and the fried oysters were the expected fries oysters. Overall not a bad place but not as good as expected. It is also a very expensive place.
Ben — Google review
This place is a Gem. I have always gone to B-more from crabs for more than 20 years from philly. I wish I discovered this place a long time ago. The atmosphere is awesome... The staff is great and attentive. Serving some of the best crabs and seafood. Definitely a must try.

Jimmy's Famous Seafood, a laid-back establishment that has been serving Maryland-style crab cakes and seafood specialties since 1974, has gained national renown. The restaurant is adorned with photos of celebrities and has been featured in various magazines and television shows. Renovated during the pandemic, it offers a variety of dining spaces including an outdoor area and a second-floor bar and lounge.
One of the most magical food experiences of my life. I'm not much of a seafood person, but during my vacation I wanted to try something different. The corn and crab chowder was phenomenal! It captures your taste buds and sends you on a journey. I've never had clams before, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed them. I got the crabcake and asparagus, and it was very delicious, full of flavor. The portion of asparagus was very generous and tasty. My friends got the blue crab and stuffed founder, and they both said they were phenomenal. I was very surprised the quality and portions of the kids food. It was legit homemade chicken tenders and homemade mac and cheese. I've never seen such quality in a kids menu before. Customer service was great from our waitress, staff, manager, and the son of Jimmy himself. My friends daughter was treated like royalty, and it really made her day with how generous they were. If I ever come back to Baltimore I will absolutely be back and will try different things. I highly recommend coming here. Absolutely phenomenal!
Andrew C — Google review
We had seen many great things about Jimmy's. It was enough to plan a trip around from NC. We ate here for dinner on 2 separate occasions trying their vast menu options out. The Crab Cakes are the best we've ever had! The crab cake egg rolls, Crab Mac and Cheese, and nachos were also very good. The freshness of the ingredients and skillfulness of the kitchen really shows when the food arrives at your table. We only had two small complaints, you can't get some of the smaller dishes served at lunch for dinner, such as burgers and sliders. The other complaint is we ordered desserts to go and it took a while to receive, and when we got back to our hotel, we noticed it had been sliced 1-2 days prior based on their sticker. The dessert wasn't worth the price we paid but the rest of our meal definitely was! The service was ok but not exceptional. The restaurant was very well kept clean and up to date. Overall it was a great experience and if we're ever back in the area, we will stop again.
Zach A — Google review
First time here and we had heard good things. Jimmy’s definitely delivered! We sat in the bar area, but the whole place was modern with great seafood shack vibe. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. The crab cake was probably on of the best quality I’ve ever eaten and the crab wontons and crab California rolls were on point too. We were actually driving through this time, but I’d go out of my way to get back to Baltimore to visit Jimmy’s again!
Brian O — Google review
We drove all the way from Chicago. Illinois, for this restaurant, it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was awesome! We ordered so much from the menu and tried so many new things. And it all was so amazing. And good. Our waitress Mia did everything she could to make us feel at home. She was 1 in a million, also all other waitresses and servers constantly checked on us too. Would highly recommend this place!!!!!❤️
Carrie C — Google review
I stopped in on a Monday and saw on the menu there was happy hour all day. (Our host didn’t tell us about happy hour but told several other tables around us which was weird). However, I ordered the Rockefeller oysters which were 10/10. The shrimp skillet with garlic bread was different but pretty good. Mini lobster tails were so tender and perfect. Ordered a Moscow mule which was pretty basic, then a fall cinnamon cocktail that was different but tasty. Crab cakes and broccolini were also 10/10, broccolini was seasoned and spicy which I loved, everything was super fresh and hot off the press! When I return definitely going back to this place, huge menu with plenty options.
Danielle B — Google review
Don’t eat the bread! Seriously… You do not want to fill up on the bread in this place. The food portions are huge and delicious. I had the twin crabcakes… Definitely should’ve just gone for one. But I happily over stuffed myself with 2. They are pretty big and one would’ve been enough. My lunch date had the crab mac & cheese, and pan seared scallops. The scallops were buttery, soft and cooked to perfection. Loads of crab on the mac & cheese and definitely worth the up charge. Our server was great. Very attentive and quick service. He even brought soda refills without our asking… Actually, we weren’t even finished with the first round and he already had the second round ready to go. Can’t wait until our next visit to Maryland because we are definitely eating here again!
Deanna C — Google review
Drove all the way from Chicago to eat here and it lived up to the hype! Beyond impressed with the service, atmosphere and food! Mia was our server and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. She was so friendly and even put her own personal touch on our dining experience to put it over the top by getting us each a gift from the manager for coming so far to eat here. The live music was superb and really added to the ambiance. I can’t recommend this place enough! Come eat here at all costs, it’s worth it!
Kelly K — Google review
Was apprehensive since this place is SO infamous and I wasn’t sure the place would live up to the hype. I have to say, I was impressed! The inside is much nicer than it looks from the outside. Very bright and spacious. We tried the crab dip (sorry - we destroyed it pretty quick so no photo) which came with a thick garlic toast. Yummm. My husband had the chicken Chesapeake with green beans. He was very happy. Said it was great portion and delicious. He also took down two of their Cinder & Smoke old fashioneds. I wasn’t hungry enough for a full dinner so got a cup of Maryland crab soup, a raw bar sampler (a deal at $15!!) and some calamari (which was more then expected). Everything was delicious!! Can’t wait to go back.

Seafood restaurant
Mama's On the Half Shell is a popular tavern in Baltimore that has been serving up top-notch seafood since 2003. Whether you're looking for a casual Sunday football spot or a place to celebrate special occasions, this eatery has got you covered. The menu features an array of seafood options, including a delectable seafood omelet for brunch. Even furry friends are welcome on the outdoor patio, where they can enjoy belly rubs and water bowls.
So my kids and I were starved after a day of appointments, shopping and a barber appointment. We decided to stop by Mama’s On The Half Shell since it was on the way home. We were greeted by Gavin and seated immediately. Gavin waited on us and was very professional and friendly. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back, thank you!
Tamara H — Google review
This place with a lot of fun. The food was delicious and all the people were nice. Parking was easy and the food came out quick enough. The only problem we had was we asked for an appetizer two times and it was forgotten both times, they were busy though so it's not a big deal but something to note.
George B — Google review
Mama's on the Half Shell is a cozy seafood restaurant. It is really nice to visit this restaurant in the fall and winter because of their fireplace. They also have great daily deals and seasonal drinks. We ordered salad, calamari, seafood and crab soup. The staff was very attentive until it got crowded. The prices were a little high for sandwiches but sufficient for entrees. Overall, I would go back to check out the deals and order another salad. I would recommend anyone that is looking for cozy spot with nice tunes to go here.
Kandice M — Google review
The food was amazing especially the Rockefeller oysters! I had one order and couldn’t resist so ordered another. The crab cakes were impeccable too! Every bite tasted so fresh! The Mac n cheese pairing was perfect! Of course the raw oysters were great!
Julius V — Google review
Our final night in Baltimore was one we’ll never forget, thanks to the unforgettable experience we had at Mama’s on the Half Shell. This wasn’t just a meal—it was a celebration of flavor, warmth, and world-class hospitality. Let’s start with the food, because wow. Every single dish that came from that kitchen was divine. The crab egg rolls are an absolute must—crispy, generous, and bursting with Maryland’s best. The half-pound steamed shrimp? Perfectly seasoned and plump. The Brussels sprouts were charred and caramelized to perfection. Our crab-topped salad was fresh and flavorful, and the lamb chops—oh, the lamb chops—were infused with rosemary so deeply, it was as if they had been marinated for hours in a garden of flavor. And then came the Maryland rockfish, flaky and bold, honoring the region’s seafood legacy. Order any of the soups!!! The cocktails were on point. The Manhattan was rich, balanced, and expertly crafted—no shortcuts here. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we made room for dessert—because at Mama’s, you make room. The bread pudding was soul-soothing, and the cheesecake was luscious and light, the perfect ending to a spectacular meal. Now for the service, which truly made the evening shine. Brian and Michael were nothing short of phenomenal. Their energy, recommendations, timing, and genuine care for our table struck the perfect balance—never intrusive, always attentive. And then there was Mauricio, the manager (we hope we’ve got his name right!), who quietly brought dishes to our table with such warmth and grace that we didn’t even realize at first he was part of leadership. When we began chatting—as we tend to do—he humbly shared that he was indeed the manager, and later returned to check in on us before leaving. He even sent over dessert to close out our evening. It was that kind of night—every detail handled with care and love. This was hands down the best meal we had in Baltimore and we had a lot of meals - and one of the best meals we’ve ever had, period. Every dollar we spent felt more than worth it. If you’re visiting Baltimore and want to experience something special, Mama’s on the Half Shell is it. No question.
Michelle S — Google review
Mamas on the Half Shell absolutely delivered! The Oyster Rockefeller and Maryland Crab Soup were outstanding, packed with flavor and freshness. The Fish & Chips were perfectly crispy, the Sriracha Brussels sprouts had just the right kick, and the Rockfish topped with Crab Imperial was simply amazing. On top of the great food, our server John was phenomenal! Hands down the best server I’ve had in ages. Friendly, attentive, and on point with everything. He made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Seafood market
Oyster bar restaurant
Faidley's Seafood, located in Downtown's Lexington Market, is a no-frills seafood stand known for its huge, jumbo-lump crab cakes and raw oysters. The restaurant gained fame for inventing the jumbo lump crab cake in the early 90s, using large chunks of crab meat and a secret sauce that sets it apart from others. This family-owned establishment has been serving award-winning lump crab cakes since 1886 and offers a variety of seafood selections.
Big, delicious crab cakes in a fun, no frills environment - and make sure to get a few deviled eggs! My daughter and I stopped in here on a Friday for lunch in May, 2025. We parked in a nearby garage and walked a block or two to visit the market, but specifically Faidley's after doing a search for "biggest crab cakes in Baltimore." The entire market is great with a ton of options available to complement your crab cakes if needed. The service was quick and it's standing only with high top tables. The crab cakes were a little pricey but worth it for both the taste and the experience.
Chris H — Google review
Faidley’s Seafood is a great place to visit if you love fresh seafood. It’s located inside the Lexington Market in Baltimore. You can buy fresh fish and crabs to take home, or choose from a few ready-to-eat dishes. There is also a small area where you can eat on the spot, which is nice if you want to enjoy your food right away. The crab cakes are especially popular and very tasty. It’s a casual and local spot, perfect for a quick seafood meal or to shop for fresh ingredients.

Best crab cake ever! We also had the clam strips and the coddie. Located in Lexington Market, Faidley’s is a destination worth the trip by itself and there are a lot of other interesting food options inside too. 💯awesome

I only tried the LUMP crab cake and it is full of crab meat! Delicious… but the green salad is weird and soggy… pickled beets are ok. The crab soup is also good!
Summer L — Google review
Simply delicious crab cake, plus enormous!! So flaky and cooked up fresh. I got there just before they closed and generously let me place an order anyway. Standing at a shared counter height table was a great way to have a little company for my meal, too.

Only took pictures of the oysters because they were massive! (And delish!) The crab cakes, mac, greens, and shrimp salad were superb! (We got slaw and tater salad to go that we haven't tried yet, but look amazing!) Laurie and the rest of the staff were excellent employees, we will def be back!

I received 4 lovely crab cakes shipped to me as a gift. They came packaged very well, insulated and a large block of ice to keep it cold. It is insanely hot outside, but the crab cakes were ice cold! We pan seared them, finished in the oven. So, so good. Very high quality, large lumps of crab meat, seasoned well, and very little filler. The crab cakes individually were probably 6-7 ounces a piece, they were huge. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone. Very nice gift and great quality!!!

Restaurant
Rusty Scupper Restaurant & Bar is a local landmark in Baltimore, offering upscale regional seafood dishes in a waterfront setting for over 30 years. The restaurant provides near-360-degree views of both the Inner Harbor and Federal Hill, making it a popular spot for special occasions like engagements and weddings. It is known for its exquisite seafood fare and traditional Maryland delicacies, showcasing Baltimore's rich maritime tradition.
The food is absolutely amazing! The views are not far behind. The atmosphere, while a little dated, is consistent with its nautical theme and seafood fine dining. The service is always impeccable and stellar. You feel welcome and enjoy being in the environment. The specials are worth the extra $$. But the whole fried fish is a MUST if you have the appetite. It’s not on the menu so asking for it will indicate you’ve been there before and feel somewhat exclusive.

Went here for my graduation celebration and really enjoyed it. The location is beautiful with amazing views, the food was really good, and the service was great. We had a reservation and were seated right away with no wait, which made the night even better. Overall, I really liked this place and would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

Wanted a Baltimore seafood experience and we were NOT disappointed. This place hit it out of the park on all levels. Starting with the warm bread, which I don’t often comment on but were hot and interestingly presented with a pour over accompaniment. I definitely wasn’t expecting much from a salad but I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious as the dressing wasn’t just poured on, it was mixed throughout and then plated. The soup hit the spot, very crabby and creamy. The crab cakes were off the charts yummy. They were MUCH better than the picture could ever tell the story. We skipped dessert cuz there was noooo room in da belly. LOL. As a special note, Amanda, our server, was awesome, both friendly and knowledgeable in her recommendations to us. She definitely rounded out our experience. The view of the harbour is amazing looking back over the city.

Sunday Brunch is worth the price! Food delicious and a lot to choose from. Drinks, music. Just awesome! If visiting, this is the place to go before heading out on Sunday. Automatically 18% gratuity taken out. Service wasn't bad at all. Everyone was welcoming and kind.

I walked away incredibly satisfied with my visit to Rusty Scupper. I'd be remiss not to start by offering praise to our waitress Keirsten. Her exuberance, knowledge of the dishes, honesty, and overall charm set the right tone immediately! My daughter and I trained up from DC for day trip. We struggled to decide on Rusty Scupper or another high profile competitor. We believe we made the right choice. The scallops were cooked to perfection, the jumbo lump crab cakes the best I've ever had, the tuna carpaccio amazing, and the collard greens, game changing! We walked away more than satisfied! It was a great memory coupled with my first trip to Charm City!

This is a good spot for family events or dinners. The view of the harbor is awesome! It’s a huge restaurant, so if it’s busy, service can be spotty. The food is consistently good and portions are generous, but it’s a bit pricey for some menu items. It’s also rich food. Overall, it’s worth a try to see if you like it! The butter cake dessert is to die for!

Wonderful location on the water front, lovely views and atmosphere. Great service but for the cost the food was sorely lacking. Had fried seafood plate and was barely eatable, fish fried so hard that it was not recognizable, shrimp was good, but could not recognize what else was on the plate. All show.

Raw food restaurant
Dylan's Oyster Cellar is a charming rustic bar and restaurant located in Hampden, Baltimore. It was founded by oyster expert Dylan Salmon, who initially tested his concept in a Mt. Vernon basement before opening the brick-and-mortar establishment. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring seasonal seafood, including traditional Maryland coddies, fried oyster sandwiches, and even a green chili cheeseburger with Southwestern flavors.
My absolute favorite restaurant in Baltimore! Despite growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland eating Chesapeake Bay oysters out of the half shell since I was 3, I didn’t really know oysters until I went here. This was the place that made me realize oysters can vary greatly in flavor. Depending on the day, you can choose from oysters from Maine, New Brunswick, Washington state, Prince Edward Island, and, of course, Maryland and Virginia. Everything on the menu is to die for, and the atmosphere is chill, cozy, and welcoming. No pretentiousness accompanying the high-quality food. Don’t eat seafood? No problem! The burger is the best burger in Baltimore — a mouthwatering smash burger that’s always on the menu. The coddie, a Baltimore tradition, is a must-try. Get the Stern Fern for a cocktail. All the fish are delicious too. I prefer to get there when they open at 5 and snag a seat at the bar.

Called for a last minute stop as we were driving by town. Got a table outdoors, which was nice for a summer evening. Lovely staff, great array of raw oysters. Soft shell crab sandwich was excellent, as was the white fish pate. Great neighborhood gem.

Good food and drinks - pricey. And you’ll read about an oyster happy hour which is no longer the case. In fact, the waitress answered me like I was a lunatic for asking about it while sitting at the bar.

My husband and I had the best time sitting at the bar last night! We tried 3 different types of oysters, and they were all so fresh and expertly shucked. It was fun watching the process from the bar. Also the mignonette was delish. Great atmosphere, great vibes, great food -- excited to return!

Had raw & broiled oysters, burger, trout and cauliflower. Everything was DELICIOUS! That was the best trout I have ever eaten. The skin was crispy, the flesh tender and buttery. The broiled oysters should be served with bread, so you can enjoy all the buttery goodness.

Phillips Seafood is a well-established regional chain known for its Maryland-style seafood, particularly its signature crab cakes. The family-owned company has been in operation for a century and has made a significant impact on the global seafood market. From their origins on the Chesapeake Bay to expanding internationally, Phillips Seafood is committed to providing genuine hospitality and award-winning cuisine. In Baltimore's Inner Harbor area, the restaurant is a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
We stopped in for lunch at Philips Seafood in Baltimore and had a fantastic experience. I had the crab cake sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My wife enjoyed the Caesar chicken salad, crisp and hearty, while our daughter loved the kids cheeseburger with fries. Everything came out quickly and just right. What really made the meal stand out was our server, Natasha — she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place to eat, it’s a must if you are traveling here visiting. The menu is insane so many great things to choose from. The Blue Crab Margarita is good lol. Don’t walk pass this place and go to Hard Rock Cafe next door. We had the Lobster Tacos it came with fries. Main dish was the Lobster Mac & Cheese / Fried Seafood Trio / Lobster & Shrimp Alfredo. Everything came out nice.

This is an excellent restaurant—and you get what you pay for. The Google Maps entry says the average price range is $30-50, but I really think it’s $50-70. Based on their current menu prices, it would be very difficult to get a complete meal for $30. That said, I had a great experience here. Our group was treated very well by the wait staff—friendly, attentive, often asked if we needed anything, and answered all of our questions immediately; very knowledgeable about the seafood dishes and the side dish and drink options. (NOTE: I forgot to take pictures of the food, except for the dessert tray!) I had the Barramundi Bites for the appetizer; this fish is an Asian sea bass, and the pieces were lightly breaded, tender, and the spicy sauce that came with it (in a separate bowl) complimented the fish well. I had the Ultimate Crab Cake for the entree, and it was quite good. I love crab cakes, and this one was as good as any I have had (and quite expensive). Tender breading, a good amount of crab, and seasoned well. For dessert, several of us shared the fudge brownie cake with ice cream. Very rich chocolate flavor! I enjoyed Phillips very much, but it’s the kind of place for special occasions, like the one our group was celebrating. I can’t afford to come here regularly.

Was super busy when we went and there was a wait, it was worth it though because the food was great. Our server was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu, recommended some great dishes for us to try. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious. We ordered the stuffed salmon, lobster roll and crab cake and steak meals. We all really enjoyed our food, it was cooked well and seasoned well. The presentation was also great.

The food here was simply divine! My family and I ordered the tuna poke nachos, broiled seafood trio, premium seafood trio, and the lobster roll, with an ice cream with brownie as dessert; they hit our spots! Numi our server was also attentive and cognizant of our needs. We will definitely be back next time we visit Baltimore.

We were greeted instantly. Taken to a table that made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We started with an assortment of oysters and two different types of espresso martinis that we equally delicious. Followed by what might be the best grilled octopus we’ve ever had. My halibut was perfect. My wife did not enjoy the coho salmon. We enjoyed a few different wines with our entrees as well. Our night was made special by the service provided by Adam.

I wasn't even going to do this review. Three of us had dinner there on Father's Day. The place was clean and the people were nice. The food was good but the service was the worst that we have had in several years. Took over 30 minutes to receive our appetizers after placing the order. I got a side of hash browns to go with my entree, and they didn't arrive until after I was finished eating, and that was only after reminding the staff that I never received it. We asked for the manager and he took a long time to get to our table. The place wasn't that busy, so it was kind of surprising. He did make some adjustments to make up for the Terrible service. For some reason, unlike other restaurants in the area, they do not offer valet parking. Based on this experience, I definitely wouldn't go back. I was there a couple of years ago, and everything was good. Maybe this was just a bad night. I'm not sure. But with the lack of parking and the service we'll find somewhere else to go.

My experience was horrible!! The food was not all of that great, plus you get a small portion. The appetizers took so long as well as the food. Please be advised that you will be paying for water, in which wasn’t told to us before dining. The water totaled to over 75 dollars for 9 bottles, in which was about 1/3 of a cup each time. There were waiters pouring open bottles that they had served other tables that eventually we found out we were paying for. The one waitress that served us we only encountered at the beginning as well as towards the end when it was time to pay. She did come by and ask how was everything but didn’t stay to hear what we had to say. Then when approaching the manager to discuss the services, he automatically assumed we wasn’t able to afford it!!! Never again and I will not recommend this place to anyone. Over priced, little food, poor service, poor communication and definitely not fine dining, water taste as it was tapped! Also, it was very hot and dark so please be aware!

The restaurant itself is beautiful and perfect for a date. However, the food was just ok - my filet was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning and the shrimp was salty. We've had much better crab cakes elsewhere for less $. The libations were good even if a bit pricy. I expected more all around. The service was top notch. We had a nice dinner overall.
Karina ( — Google review
Beautiful, upscale and delicious seafood restaurant in the Inner Harbor, but pricey. The service was excellent, our server knew the menu extremely well and helped one of our party who has shellfish allergies to pick a good entree. The food was excellent, and they even were willing to make mocktails. It was rather pricey, however, as few if any entrees were under $30. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

I loved the food so much the place looks new and so clean and the service are perfect and the working staff will take care of you with a big smile
Ali A — Google review
Good wine, appetizers, salads, entrees - all delicious! Service is quite good. Seafood, steaks, sides, desserts - so many options so there's something for everyone. Most things can be customized. Menu changes periodically based on some seasonal availability. Although reservations probably aren't necessary, I recommend them just in case there are larger parties or they're busy that evening.

Very nice restaurant. The Chilean sea bass was excellent. The cream of crab soup was delicious! Our server was very friendly and came to check on us often. Nice view of the inner harbor. This is our second time coming back here and I would highly recommend.

A big group of us came in for dinner on a weeknight... We sat outside, along the water and had decent service. The views and temps were great out there, but the lantern flies are ridiculous and all over. Their menu is very nice and it was hard to decide what to get, but everything we all chose were things we ended up really enjoying. For me, I absolutely loved the ceviche! Probably in my top 5 ever! Their mac & cheese side is also incredible! I tried their grilled shrimp banh mi and it was interesting - nice flavors, fresh, and tasty. Lots of drinks on tap and on their cocktail menu as well. Definitely worth stopping in!

Overall I give this a 3.5* review but Google doesn't allow half stars so rounding up. Nice setting on the harbor, had live music on a Friday night. Inside was a bit loud and I don't think I saw the hostesses smile once. They have an outdoor bar and seating options as well as indoor bar and dining area. I really wanted to like this place but left just feeling meh. Staff was ok, waiter was friendly and helpful. Also, was honest and warned us the crab cream soup was a bit salty, (it was). More on service later. Food was pretty good, but not worth the prices in my opinion. Caesar salad for $18, good size but bland flavor except for the salty parmesan crisps. $66 crab cakes were tasty but not sure that they warrant that price for 2 crab cakes and fries. Moules Frites were good and I'd order that again for $25. However the staff (not our waiter) brought our mains out before we had finished our starters, she just stood there for a second, and then just crammed everything onto our small table. They also wanted to clear our plates while we were actively eating. I think they refilled our water once over the course of our meal? So definitely could do better on the service side.

Bar: There are two moderate televisions at the 18-seat bar if you’re looking for a spot to leisurely watch sports in a mellow afternoon environment. Brunch review: Live music from local favorites Enslow playing an acoustic set and a brunch menu with variety made this a pleasant first experience at Loch Bar. Chance the bartender is incredibly friendly and attentive. Noon: As the sole patron at the bar and only three seated tables, the restaurant is perfectly quiet except for the talented performers. 1:30pm: The bar is filling out and the tables are mostly full so the atmosphere has evolved as the din increased. The cream of crab soup had a satisfying spice to it that warms you up on a rainy winter’s day. The lobster roll, served on a toasted bun, pairs well with the crab soup. Dinner menu review: Go full Baltimore with Cream of Crab soup, an Orange Crush, and crab cakes. Stephen is great behind the bar and will make your visit great. Don’t forget to use the Atlas app for reservations and rewards.

I came here for my Birthday last year and i loved it. Beautiful Astmophere, my server was very nice i had first ordered the Salmon wrap and it was okay and i say that because it was a little too spicy for my liking wit the peppers and i'm not big on spicy foods so that's the only reason why i said it was okay and because i didn't like it they let me choose another dish so i was happy about that and it was delicious. They had someone that was playing the guitar and singing and they gave me a birthday shout out as well as a happy birthday song and that was cool i loved it, and since it was my Birthday they gave me a dessert(Cheesecake) which was delicious and sung Happy Birthday to me. It was really awesome there. I would definitely go back again which i am for my birthday again this year so i highly recommend this restaurant.

We had oysters and crabs they were both delicious. The crabs were steamed perfect, very meaty and tasted delicious. The oysters were awesome. Being from Baltimore and growing up on Woodall Street it is nice to know that LP Steamers is still serving up great seafood. Andy was our server and the service was exceptional. Thank you for making our return to Baltimore great.

Had a great meal here! Friendly staff, quick service, and great food. Came for the crabs and they didn’t disappoint. Also ordered Old Bay fries and hush puppies, they were amazing! The fries themselves were solid, then with the old bay and dip they came with… we LOVED them. The hush puppies were great with their dip too. Menu said honey butter, it reminded me of Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter that comes with their rolls

The quality of the crabs were awesome. I personally don't like the seasoning (I prefer garlic oil base), but, still it tasted sooo good. Will return for the next visit. There was a wait, for about 40 minutes, but it was worth it. We had some other appetizers and side dishes, but I guess just have the dozen of crabs. That's my suggestion.

Had a fantastic late Mother's Day celebration with my children who all live in Maryland. I live right outside of Philadelphia. We enjoyed the delicious hush puppies (suggested by the fun bartender across the street at Iron Works/Harry's Bar, had a delightful martini while waiting for our table!) We had the three kinds of crab soup, Old Bay fries and two dozen jumbo crabs, steaming hot! They were perfect!! Service was excellent. I got to take home the five leftover crabs and enjoyed them immensely, the following day! This is our third time eating here, and will definitely be back!!

We had calamari, hush puppies, fries, and Boat Load of food. These are my favorites so I was hoping they did it justice. LP Steamers did not disappoint. Everything was so delicious! We’ll be adding this place into our rotation this summer for sure! 🦀 😋

The space is nice, but the service needs serious improvement. We waited 30–40 minutes for our food with very little attention from staff. They clearly need to hire more people and improve attentiveness. The long wait really took away from the experience.

My husband and I had lunch here for the first time today. We ordered a dozen of the “jumbo” crabs as they were out of the largest size they had. The “jumbo” is the second largest size they offered. Also ordered the old bay fries which came with a yummy ranch sauce as well as pickle chips. Will definitely be returning!

Captain James Crabhouse is a renowned seafood restaurant located near Fells Point in Baltimore, Maryland. The restaurant's unique feature is its shape, resembling that of a merchant ship, adding to the charm of dining by the waterfront. Known for its extraordinary dishes and warm, friendly environment, it offers an excellent dining experience. One of the fan favorites is the Captain's signature crab cake made with seasonal jumbo lump crab broiled to perfection and served with rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables.
❤️✌️👋🔥 I had an amazing experience here! I ordered the blue crab — it was incredibly fresh (definitely not frozen) and full of flavor. The food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great seafood and great service!

First time here on July 4th—went to the restaurant side (ship-like design) which had air conditioning! Joyce was our server—super cool and attentive. Steamed Crabs XL-size were $140 a dozen—a bit pricey but the crabs were delicious and full of meat! Corn on the cob was sweet and the French Fries were okay. We got two dozen of the XL crabs and it was TOO much for 3 ppl. But we enjoyed it so much that we brought our family here again the next day!! Next day, they only had 1.5 dozen left of the XL crabs when we arrived for lunch—the host was able to put a hold for us to have all of that, as we were getting seated, so nice of him! For appetizers, Clam Chowder, Cream of Crab, Hush Puppies and Captain’s Waffle Fries were all good. Cocktails were great too. Service was great—of course, we asked for Joyce! Also, had a chance to go to the other part of the restaurant, by the water—the Crabhouse. It’s more casual and outdoor so it’s hot. Had some drinks at the bar—Mike and Roman were super cool bartenders! Fun vibes here.

Fantastic crabs here! This was my first time eating crab straight from… the crab and they were delicious. They came out hot and incredibly well seasoned. I also have to shoutout those hush puppies which were to die for. I could probably eat an entire order by myself. I was also happy to be eating outside! Be warned though: eating crabs is not a quick affair

I'm not big on shellfish, but apparently, this place is a good place to go to get crabs and other seafood because they always have a decently sized crowd. I been here twice and had wings and sweet corn both times. The wings are nothing special, but the sweet corn with that Parkay butter they serve is everything! There is an indoor bar and dining area, but the highlights of this restaurant are the island atmosphere and the views of the harbor on the outdoor pier that extend outdoors to the restaurant. It is currently mid spring and the weather is just perfect. If you like being right on the water and simply want to enjoy a getaway in the middle of the city, with a down to earth vibe, give this place a visit. Service is good and it's beautiful!

Around 2:15 on a Suunday, lots of avail tables. Promptly greeted. Servers were nice. No AYCE crabs on Sunday, but ordering a dozen came to about the same price. We did get XL crabs dozen($140). Seasoned well. Crab dip in bread bowl, wings, & hand cut fries were all good. The fries could def be shared between 2-4 people. Water is by the bottle & not free here($2). Free & ample parking. All in all a nice place for crabs in the city.
Naija J — Google review
The portions were kinda small for their price. My bowl of soup was much smaller than most places I've been to. Cream of crab soup was good despite its size. Mussels were tiny. Calamari wasn't that great. I didnt care for the fries. I liked my sangria. The people next to me were eating crabs with gloves on. Like heathens. The sweet corn was really good though. According to to Google, sweet corn is ok for Ducks to have. So I had 4 ears, which I shared with the ducks, mostly the babies, on the next pier. I would take a bite for me, and then take a bite to throw to the babies. I love the duckies. Grab an ear of corn for your kids and go feed the duckies.

$160 for a party of 2 to eat food that is very short of spectacular at a crabhouse where brown paper bags serve as tablecloths🙄🙄 is utterly ridiculous. 20% mandatory gratuity for 1) bills that total $75 or more or 2) party of 5 or more. At the time of this visit, there were few prices actually posted on the menu other than all you can eat crabs for $48. Alot of post-pandemic price gouging is simply destroying the joy of dining out. Never again.

Good and plentiful. We got the all you can eat (in 2 hours) crabs and they were very tasty. The soup was meh but the corn on the cob was sweet and tender.

The Black Olive is a charming Greek restaurant located on the historic Bond Street in Fells Point. It's renowned for its authentic Greek-style whole fish, seafood, and lamb dishes that have been passed down through generations of the Spiliadis family. The restaurant prides itself on using only the freshest seafood to create delectable dishes like lobster pasta and soft shell crab phyllo.
Celebrated the Valentine’s Day weekend in the Baltimore, MD area. Had the pleasure of dining at The Black Olive. Was able to get a table via OpenTable without any problems. Arrived at the restaurant and was greeted like we were family. Was quickly shown to our table, and our waiter was taking drink orders and bringing appetizers to our table. We shared the mushrooms which was a mistake, I should have ordered my own and my wife should have had one for herself. As we shared the appetizer our food came out within minutes. My wife had the fish, and I had the filet mignon. We’re talking mouth watering meals from start to finish. When we thought it couldn’t get any better, we ordered dessert. My wife took a bite out of her Baklava Ice Cream, and had the biggest smile on her face. Sadly, our dinner came to an end, and we had to leave. But, we WILL be back. If you happen to be in the Baltimore area, please check out The Black Olive, you will enjoy every single bite. Enjoy.

The most amusing thing is how we found out about this place. We ran into the owners while dining at Gunther & Co and they were surprised we had never been! Based on how friendly the owners we figured why not! We were not disappointed. The menu is vast and encompasses all of the Greek classics. We started with their delicious version of Chicken souvlaki. After such a solid start we got our entrees. The lamb shank, Greek style lambchops and the lobster pasta. All were fantastic and the staff was more than willing to help with a wine pairing for me and my lobster. For dessert we were excited about the baklava but fell in love with the baklava ice cream. The dinner drink pictured is their version of a brandy alexander which was quite tasty. Highly recommend, we will be visiting again.

I went to black olive for my birthday and the service was quick and they were very friendly and attentive. The lamb and shrimp combo with broccoli and potatoes were amazing. The broccoli was well seasoned. I also had the lamb meatballs and pita bread which were great as well. They gave me a free dessert and I had the chocolate mouse which was amazing. My boyfriend had the filet mignon and he said it was the best. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.

Our friends who lived in Fells Pt twenty-five years ago got us reservations in the wine cellar at The Black Olive. We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience with multiple courses: apps, mains, salads, deserts, drinks and wine. The service was attentive and helpful. Our food was perfectly prepared, promptly presented and so very delicious. You must absolutely get the baklava ice cream for dessert: best flavor in the world!! The highlight of the meal was Alain the sommelier. He was exceedingly knowledgeable and suggested perfect wines, some with a personal touch. I would highly recommend The Black Olive if you are looking for very fine dining in Baltimore.

My family has enjoyed many wonderful celebrations at The Black Olive in the last 10 years. Our recent experience was just a wonderful - we were seated in the wine cellar!! It was very special. The food was outstanding, particularly the fish dishes, although the entree options were fewer than normal since it was during Baltimore Restaurant Week. The good part was the menu made it easy to select an app, an entree and a dessert at a good price. Some of the appetizers were smaller portions than their usual size but still very nice. The staff was charming and the cellar cozy! The owner said hello at the end of our evening and it was truly a genuine conversation about family and food - all the love!

I love The Black Olive; I've been to the Olive a few times already. Amazing restaurant with a even more amazing ambiance. Great food, great service. After dinner, we walked around Fells Points. I highly recommend doing that after dinner. Fells Point is a nice little area to walk around; cute little shops for coffee, ice cream and other stuff.

Lovely meal in the wine cellar at The Black Olive. The food was outstanding. Definitely one of the best meals that I have eaten in ages. Very memorable food, looking forward to going there again soon. I really, really wanted to give this place a 5 star rating but unfortunately the service was not great. The waitstaff seemed to disappear on us, we definitely would have ordered another bottle of wine but the server did not return. She also did not return with a seltzer water that was requested twice. I get it that some people in a private room might like to be bothered with checking in, but I think that we were not checked in enough. Also, I hate to mention this but it was very awkward when we left because we were told that there was a mistake running the credit cards that two of them were missed, when in fact in turned out that one of the servers had pocketed the $180 cash since two of of paid cash. I am hoping this was an honest mistake but it was definitely something that should not have happened. Again, the food was outstanding and the wine cellar was a great atmosphere. Hoping to give it another try soon.

Angie's Seafood is a popular dining spot in historic Fells Point, Baltimore, known for its elegant ambiance and exceptional seafood offerings. Since 2016, this restaurant has been a neighborhood favorite with an open, full-service bar and a spacious dining room that can accommodate large groups. The menu features traditional seafood dishes like steamed crabs, crab cakes, oysters, lobster tail, and shrimp alongside American and Italian options.
My family went in town just to go eat. My sister's been there before and she was talking up this place. I'll have to say the food was delicious. I love that the crab cake had lumps of crab in it and no fillers. All the food was really good. You can tell the restaurant has been around for a while and even though parking was a little difficult, I'd definitely go back if I was in town.

Rosa, was absolutely amazing! We came in to celebrate our anniversary today and she was our waitress. When I say she was extremely accommodating I mean just that. Down to me asking for an onion boil and her not knowing what that was. Her manager Zack came to inquire about it quickly. When I say he sent someone to the store to get an onion to make the onion boil, believe me that's what he did. This is one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had and I promise I will be a regular customer. Thank you for the hospitality and great food!!

Hubby made plans for my birthday lunch, so the restaurantwas not busy when we arrived. Rosa our waitress was very nice, shared the days specials which we ordered. Crab and shrimp eggrolls (not real crabmeat but tasty). Surf and turf down right tasty! Filet mignon cooked just like I like Medium. Nice sized shrimp with great flavor. Although the crab cake was not lump meat, it was tasty. My birthday dessert was sweet😋 I would come back. And for the Detriot fans that arrived as we were leaving, this is Birdland!!

I ordered the honey glazed salmon with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach for my main dish and we also had calamari and the crab dip for appetizers. The food was phenomenal!!! We loved the atmosphere. The layout is really nice. Service was spot on and we actually met Angie. She was actually there with her staff and everything appeared to just flow. I can tell her staff enjoys working there. They all seem to work like it was a family business. Love this place and will definitely return.

The Choptank is a charming eatery that offers a refreshing atmosphere and outdoor seating. Specializing in delectable seafood dishes, particularly crab and fish, they provide options like blackened or sesame encrusted with roasted potato hash, broccolini, lemon butter, and olive oil.
Arrived here with a very large group(25-30 ppl) during the CIAA. We were immediately seated and offered special menus for the event, though the regular menu was more than sufficient. I believe we made Tyler, our server, a bit nervous initially, but he handled us with grace. Our appetizers and drinks came fairly quickly. Our cocktails were strong and fruity. A great margarita substitute. The soups my group had were so good I didn't even get a picture. The chicken wings were well seasoned and sauced. As a self-proclaimed ranch snob, their recipe was pretty good. The Eastern Cobb salad was very good. The breading on the fried oysters was delicious and definitely a new salad topper for me. My fellow diners enjoyed their food as well. As a native Marylander, I appreciated the vibe of a reimagined historic Fell's Point. The live musician was definitely entertaining! During his cover of 'Fast Car,' my back was to him, and I didn't realize Tracy Chapman wasn't playing on the speakers. He has a great voice and mellow and warm on the cold, windy evening. Thank you to Chef Riley for the great take on Maryland cuisine and to Genevieve and the proprietors for helping our group find a great place.

This is our second visit to Choptank. The hostess was very nice and friendly and seated us immediately upon entry. Our waitress Taylor was very attentive. She did an amazing job. We ordered the cream of crab soup, old-fashioned (drink), oysters, po’boy (fish), and crab cake entree, with corn pudding. Everything was amazing. We also had a special visit from Jordan, Roy and the executive chef Calvin. Jordan’s hospitality was unmatched. We had a great conversation with Roy and Calvin. We can't wait to meet up again when they are not working. If you are looking for good food, service, staff, and atmosphere check out Choptank. We are loyal foodies and we know an amazing organization when we see one. Choptank and the Atlas Group is top tier.

This was my second visit to choptank in Fells point and it did not disappoint. We started with lemon drop cocktails crafted by my favorite bartender Ryan for appetizers we tried the honey ole bay wings and jumbo meatball with garlic bread-both amazing. We were so full, that we ended up taking our main courses to go, but I enjoyed the crabcake mac & cheese and salad for dinner at home. They were fantastic. Can’t wait to come back Ryan you made me a fan.

Decided to come downtown Baltimore to see what has changed and found this newly renovated location on Broadway market. Very nice and spacious!! Came for drinks and appetizers. No wait on Monday nights, got to take I the ambiance. The food of choice was the Choptank wings(good), Cream of crab soup(need more crabmeat good), potato skins( different flavor but good), passion fruit Margarita and Long island Ice tea. Bartender was good! Over all happy with my choices. Will have to try again for dinner. If in the area try them out!!

BERTHA'S SOUL FOOD BAR AND GRILL is a family-owned restaurant with a cult following, known for its delicious soul food and lively atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing a beer and enjoying live music in the front bar or opting for a more formal dining experience, Bertha's has something for everyone. The menu offers a variety of options including fried fish, chicken, lamb, seafood, subs, and an array of sides.
The service was a perfect 10/10, and the food was absolutely amazing worth every mile of the trip from VA to MD. It tasted like it was made with love, just like someone’s grandmother would make. I felt like I was eating Thanksgiving dinner! The turkey wings were so tender they fell right off the bone, and the fried catfish was perfectly crispy. The only thing missing was some Texas Pete hot sauce I’m not a fan of Crystal. Every side was on point: cheesy macaroni and cheese, flavorful seafood salad, tender cabbage, savory greens, and sweet yams. The aroma and flavor made me feel warm inside. I’ll definitely be back to try a few more items!
Shanice C — Google review
Initially I saw this restaurant on Instagram so this is my second experience. The first time wasnt a good experience so I decided to try it again but this time the experience was the same so I don't think I'll be returning. The first time I ordered catfish fillet, greens and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was very mediocre and could have used a little more salt and the greens were put in the same container as my fish so by the time I got it and opened my food to eat it, the fish was soggy... FYI when running a business they should be aware that you should never put your wet food with fried food. It will always turn out horrible. The next time I went which was my last visit, the presentation was great. They give you a large amount of food as well I ordered 8 garlic parmesan party wings, mac and cheese and cabbage. I ordered the mac and cheese again thinking that I would give it another try because I love mac and cheese so much but again it was still nothing to brag about at all. The cabbage was blah but the wings were amazing... I am from the south and the food should have some soul in it no matter where you're from but this place Lacks some seasonings. I found that most people most people enjoy the food because maybe that's what they're used to. And the prices are astronomical to me when the food is so basic. I would like to see this place thrive with a few adjustments. Also the staff is always dressed poorly to be young ladies. I've seen Spandex clothing, bellies exposed, and women coming in with bonnets on their heads. This should be unacceptable. The staff is very professional but food could use some work. I definitely want to support black owned businesses but we have to do better
Deneise N — Google review
Let me start by saying, the food here used to be so good. Some of the best soul food in the city in my opinion, but now they have fallen off tremendously. I started having hit or miss experiences and that rapidly turned into consistent subpar or just flat out bad experiences. The macaroni and cheese is way too peppery and it can either be so oily that the cheese is literally beside the noodles, OR someone makes a roux that’s so full of flour that you have a mouth full of grit. This last meal I had tasted old. I mean everything. I have never had dry yams, and when you squished them, they just shrivel no mash or anything. OLD. The catfish felt like I was chewing cardboard and rubber. OLD. The macaroni had that gritty texture, super wet, and the noodles were so mushy like they were microwaved. Typically if I have a bad food experience I’m cool with getting fresh food, but this time I just wanted to wash my hands with it and get something I knew I’d eat. Therefore, I requested a refund. Now here’s where the service becomes an issue. A no refund policy is understandable in some instances, but if no one is answering the phone number that is listed on your google, we can’t even call to try to get a resolution. The food was driven back to the store just to be told the only thing they can do is give me more food which I didn’t even want. The person who it was given to said even that was nasty and they got salmon, rice, and cabbage. THREW IT OUT! I will never spend money here again. I will NEVER recommend this spot again. And I will most certainly warn anyone I’ve already recommended this establishment to that this is below a lackluster experience. Your patronage is not appreciated, valued, or respected; and they don’t care about your time, money or appetite.
Paige S — Google review
The sides were good but the shrimp were fried way too hard (harder than stale Captain crunch). I gave this establishment three stars because I’ve had their food before and never had a bad experience.

I ordered mac and cheese as a side with one of the orders and got mashed potatoes instead. Then the rice portion with salmon was sub-par. For the amount of money, more rice would've been nice. Salmon was also missing some flavor.

I feel like it is changing management because they were not serving alcohol and the bar side was closed. That was not a problem for me though. My chicken was still fabulous but the sides were not as good as normal. Our server was attentive and said things would be back to normal in a cpl weeks. I'll go back.

Woodberry Kitchen is a trendy, upscale restaurant located in a renovated old factory, offering refined New American cuisine with a farm-to-table focus. The menu features locally sourced ingredients from Chesapeake farmers, including a breakfast selection of freshly baked pastries and traditional brunch dishes. The restaurant has received numerous awards and accolades, contributing to its popularity among both locals and tourists.
Excellent food, attentive and friendly service, great vibes. What more could you want? I’ve been a couple of times and my experience is consistently lovely. The Tavern dining room is small, so I recommend a reservation, especially for larger parties. I think the largest they can seat in their standard set up is 6.

We had our micro wedding with 21 attendees at Woodberry Kitchen in March 2025. We got married on the patio and had our reception inside. We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding - it was the perfect size, price, etc. Woodberry Kitchen is the whole package for weddings and events. Everyone who came to our wedding talked about how wonderful the wedding and venue was - aesthetically pleasing and intimate with amazing food. Jolanta was great to work with throughout the planning process and listened to all of our requests and concerns, and Amanda was fantastic the day of the event, making sure everything went smoothly. If you're getting married or hosting an event in Baltimore, Woodberry Kitchen is a no-brainer for your dream venue!

First, I would say it started off great. I couldn't find the restaurant because I didn't see the name of the building, but the waitress was friendly enough to meet us outside. The restaurant has a rustic feel to it. It's not fancy on the inside, but it has brick walls, hence an old mill. The menu is limited, but I did order a drink. I had the deviled eggs, which is only one egg cut in half. I had the salad, and steak. Honestly, it wasn't my preferred cut, so I only had one piece of the steak. The taste of the food was somewhat bland. For some reason, once the food order was placed, I saw the waitress, but I had to get another waiter to help with some other things, including my dessert. My dessert was the best part of the meal, and please note that an automatic 20% gratuity was added regardless of the party size. I would recommend this location for venue only. The wedding party seems to be the only thing that was a success.

We had an amazing dinner at The Tavern at Woodberry Kitchen. Our reservation was for two at 8:30 PM, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We started with the short rib empanadas, which were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The young lettuce salad was light and fresh, and the Everything Spring Salad, while more of a side dish than a traditional salad, was still delicious. The grilled zucchini in it really stood out. For mains, we had the fish and chips, with catfish as the fish of choice. It was delicate, perfectly cooked, and paired with crispy, well-seasoned fries. We also had the tavern steak frites cooked to your choice of doneness, and it was tender, flavorful, and satisfying. The blackberry mojitos were refreshing and perfectly balanced. It's definitely a cocktail we’d order again. Dessert was the chocolate cake, rich and indulgent, and a perfect way to end the night. Our server was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable, not just about the menu but also about the restaurant’s history and the neighborhood. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed evening with great food, drinks, and thoughtful service.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to work at quite a few venues, but few stand out as clearly and memorably as Woodberry Kitchen. From the moment you walk in, the space feels warm, textured, and effortlessly elegant. The rich character of the brick walls and bistro lights paired with natural light streaming through large windows, creates the perfect canvas for timeless, romantic images. Every corner of the venue offers something visually compelling. What truly elevates this venue beyond its aesthetic is the team behind it. The venue coordinators are not only organized and attentive to the couple’s needs, but they also go out of their way to support the vendors. As a photographer, it makes a huge difference when the staff is communicative, flexible with timelines, and genuinely kind. Their collaborative attitude ensures that the day flows smoothly, allowing everyone to do their best work while keeping the focus on the couple’s experience. And let’s not forget the food—absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to bring my husband here for dinner. Often, vendor meals are an afterthought, but here, the team makes sure that we are fed and if it doesn't work in our timeline, they pack it up in to-go boxes for us. The food is always a highlight in its own right. This venue is a dream for photographers and a treasure for couples. I can’t recommend it highly enough—for its beauty, for its team, and for the exceptional experience it creates for everyone involved. Can't wait to be back! The incredible florals in these images are by Gott Efni or Yarrow Floral Co.

The atmosphere at Tavern at Woodberry is so relaxing — you instantly feel at home. The building itself is gorgeous and gives off such a warm, cozy vibe. Their wine list and beer selection are thoughtfully curated, focusing on local and sustainable options, which I really appreciate. We started with the board — a perfect sampler — and the greens were fresh and crisp. The burger was top-notch: full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and paired with fries that were cut and seasoned just right. Dessert definitely had that “wow” presentation, though it wasn’t our favorite flavor-wise. Grateful for the warm, friendly service and such a tasty highlight to the weekend. 🍷🍔✨

Visited here for a rheumatology conference. So we had the back room in the back patio available to us. Beautiful location with ample space however, the table seating was a little bit tight. The service staff was incredibly friendly and was always refilling drinks and bringing around more option for food. For dinner, we had the chicken and the rockfish. Both were cooked perfectly, but the portions were rather small, so could have used a little bit more to eat. The flourless chocolate cake was good, but I’ve definitely had a more decadent flourless chocolate cake elsewhere.

It was our first dining experience here, and it lived up to the online reviews. Service was fast and attentive......thanks Char! Tried several seasonal cocktails, and they all were enjoyable. The food was flavorful. The stuffed eggplant stood out by itself. The coppa steak could have been plated with a starch and the savory crab pie with some greens. The choices for table sides were limited. Definitely will be back!

I absolutely loved this place! I went during happy hour and ordered the fish tacos—they were incredibly filling and delicious. My friend had the steak, which was perfectly cooked, and the sides were so flavorful they didn’t need any extra seasoning. The food was outstanding! The bartender, Bernie, was exceptionally helpful, and Kennith was attentive and accommodating throughout our visit. We were also greeted by the manager, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. It really bums me out to write this review, but I hope it can be helpful from a management perspective! I tried this spot because I was in town on business, staying nearby, and in the mood for fresh seafood. As a party of one person, I was hoping to be in and out within an hour or so to get to bed at a good time for my early morning flight. However, I was there for over two hours waiting for half a dozen oysters and crab cakes when the restaurant was only about half full. I want to emphasize that the wait staff was SO kind and friendly, and I truly believe they were all doing their best. Unfortunately, the service fell short. It seemed like there was no system for who was assigned to which table, who was responsible for running food/drinks, etc., as I had three different people waiting on me while I was dining. It seemed like a management issue more than a staffing issue, as the number of waiters should have been able to handle a half full restaurant with relative ease. As for the food, I highly recommend the oysters! They were very fresh and exactly what I was hoping for. Each one had a unique flavor I enjoyed. The crab cakes were just okay and were too salty for my liking. They felt almost lightly fried in a way that made them dense, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. I didn’t get around to trying a dessert because I didn’t have time to wait any longer, but I would have considered the butter cake. I would consider coming back in the future and trying a different entrée if the service system is improved.

First time visit for a birthday dinner. Our server, Brittany, was excellent. We tried the calamari, stuffed salmon and the fish & chips. The calamari was my favorite. The salmon was delicious, but at $30+ I expected more seafood stuffing. The fish and chips were delicious, but the batter on the fish tasted overly salty. Happy hour promos sounded interesting. May come back for their $2 fish taco Tuesdays during happy hour.

Just had some of THE BEST Calamari ever!!! If you follow me, you know that I judge a good Italian restaurant by their fried Squid 🐙 and this was so tender and crispy 😋😍 it put all those Italians to shame! 😲🫢 It was so good I ordered another before I finished the first! 🤯 Everything was "Top Notch" including the service, as Sara took very good care of us.😄 Next time I'm in Baltimore, I will be eating here!!

Located downtown , Luna Del sea is a nice option for having a drink 🍷 or ordering food. The king crab is tasty. Of course the price of the dish depends on the markets, but you can find it in reasonable cost. Service is also good.

If you want some good food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to visit in Baltimore. It’s very close to the football and baseball stadiums. You will absolutely enjoy this place. Price is a reasonable. The staff is helpful. This is the second time we have been to the Baltimore area, And we went there both times. The first time we stumbled across it this last time on the way to Pennsylvania, we made a detour to go and eat there.

Staff were all super friendly and outgoing! Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was phenomenal! HIGHLY recommend the Cajun Shrimp & Grits appetizer. We had the broiled seafood trio & the fried combo and Oreo cheesecake for dessert. Everything was wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. If you haven’t been here, it’s definitely worth going!

I had a great time at Luna Del Sea. The jumbo lump crab cocktail was extremely delicious. The broiled seafood trio was very good. Our waitress Kayla was phenomenal!! She was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back again :)

I just started working in baltimore and its always important to find a place to adequately decompress after work. This is it. The food is delicious and presented so well. The atmosphere on a Friday evening during the start of a Katy Perry concert was perfect. Located right by the light rail it's perfect for commuters. I had a good serving of crab cake and shrimp with scallops in a delectable sauce.

Delicious food, attentive and friendly staff, Parking located behind the restaurant with a decent rate. 10/10 highly recommend

This is the first time a restaurant added 20% tips to my bill before I checked out. In addition to that, they wanted me to add tips when I signed the bill after they have added 20% tips. The grilled chicken brisket is good. The lemonade is too sweet though, don’t recommend that. However, they gave minimum rice and I had to order a $6 side rice. Because of the tips and side rice, I had to pay $51 for items with the original price of $35. I would not go to that restaurant again. —Reply to the restaurant’s response: As I said, this is the first time a restaurant added 20% tips to my bill before I checked out, and you even want me to add more tips when I signed my bill. If you want to reward your employees, you should raise their stipend. Customers have the right to decide whether they will give tips and how much tips they want to add.

Located in Baltimore, MD, Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls is a casual eatery near maritime museums like the Historic Ships in Baltimore and the USCG Lightship Chesapeake. Despite its unassuming appearance, this spot offers delicious lobster rolls with fresh, tender, and perfectly seasoned lobster meat packed into buttered and lightly toasted rolls. The service is quick and friendly, creating a casual yet inviting atmosphere for seafood lovers to enjoy their meal.
Off by the water and nearby the aquarium. Cute interior and smells like buttery heaven! Very clean and the food is to die for! Worth every penny for my lobster roll! I got the Connecticut roll, and added the bar harbor (extra meat) to it! It has been so long since I've had good lobster!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Amazing Lobster Rolls! Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls definitely lives up to its name! The lobster is incredibly fresh, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I went with the classic roll, and it was packed with generous chunks of lobster that melted in my mouth. The buttered roll was lightly toasted and added a great crunch to each bite. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was casual yet inviting. A must-visit for any seafood lover! I’ll definitely be back.

The experience was… average. I ordered a lobster roll, but I knew going in that I’d probably still be hungry afterward—so I added a hotdog to my order. Both were fine, nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. The lobster roll could have used more flavor or a better portion size, and the hotdog was just okay. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but definitely not something I’d go out of my way for again.
Rochelle — Google review
A friend ordered the lobster Mac and cheese for me so I did not see the image on the delivery app. Even considering inflation, this was the saddest lobster mac I've ever had. The scraps of lobster were negligible and taken from the flastest of the apendages. Although pasta is cheap, even the pasta portion was small. The flavor could not make up for the size. The dish was creamy but bland. The lobster scraps were chewy. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish but, based on my limited experience and the price point, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Photo shows portion size in the delivery bowl then in a regular bowl.

We got our lobster roll quick, it wasn’t too busy when we went. The roll was delicious. The bread was soft and buttery and warm and they did not skimp out of the lobster. Flavorful and well made
Nicole W — Google review
The lobster rolls were good but the lobster Mac and cheese had minimal lobster for 16 dollars. Would’ve gotten another lobster roll (20 dollars) if we knew. We also asked for more lobster because of the quality of the food and they said we would have to pay more. I’m disappointed at how little they gave us and the burnt edges on the plate with room temperature Mac and cheese.
Elizabeth — Google review
Nothing famous about it. No flavor. And they doused the roll in some watered down buttery liquid that just made everything a soggy mess. Ended up just eating the lobster with a fork. Do not recommend.
Camerons C — Google review
I tried Mason’s Famous Lobster Company and was disappointed. The lobster was chewy and didn’t taste fresh. I’m glad I ordered it hot, but the butter overwhelmed what little flavor was there. The sandwich came on a white toasted bun, but overall it just wasn’t worth the money. I hope they work on sourcing fresher lobster in the future.

True Chesapeake is a seafood restaurant located in Whitehall Mill, founded by a team of experienced chefs including Zack Mills and Patrick Hudson from True Chesapeake Oyster Farm. The menu features Chesapeake classics such as spaghetti with middle neck clams, roasted oysters, farmhouse salad with seasonal veggies, crab dip mac and cheese, and rockfish prepared by Chef Mills.
Went there for a dinner date night with the wife as we’re staying away from Atlas restaurant group locations for a while. We’ve been wanting to come here for a while and we were pleasantly surprised. We noticed how busy it was , so we were a little worried that the service was not going to be good. Our server was very busy at first but she rallied through and was amazing for the rest of our stay. I got the oysters and they were the biggest oysters I’ve ever had and they were tasty. Loved the assortment of condiments that came with them. Food was amazing as I was very happy to see snakehead on the menu. I would love to see them cook a fried version of this dish. Prices were really good for the quality of food and the ambiance was amazing. We will definitely be back with our friends.

We had a great time here with friends for a Saturday early happy hour. The happy hour menu is a steal! The oysters were fantastic and the cocktails were amazing. I would totally go for happy hour again. I do love their dinner menu however the portion is slightly on the less side. You have to order a bunch which makes the bill kinda high, also on top of that they automatically charge 20% plus the kitchen fee 2%. The food quality was no doubt tho. Everything we ordered was fantastic, the balance of flavor and richness was just spot on. I enjoyed everything very much! They serve beer bread as well, which was also my favorite kind of bread. Overall it was such a great restaurant. I highly recommend it for special occasions due to the portion and the price, or just simply go for happy hour only.

I usually know a place is great when I'm already thinking about the return trip! The oysters were phenomenal. First time I tried Snakehead, which I'd recommend. The drinks were impressive. Service could've been better but maybe it was an off night. You should be able to find parking. Next time have to get the chicken sandwich that everyone seemed to be buying!

We celebrated my aunt’s birthday at True Chesapeake and had an excellent experience despite the restaurant being short-staffed. We started at the bar for happy hour with fresh, house-made margaritas and top-tier oysters—especially delicious with the bourbon hot sauce and watermelon mignonette. For dinner, our waitress recommended the Northside, a refreshing NA mojito-style drink, alongside seared scallops (gluten-free, prepared with care to avoid cross-contamination) and the blue crab & bone marrow dip, which my aunt loved. Dessert was a rich peanut butter, chocolate, and marshmallow creation—wonderful but very sweet. Great service, thoughtful recommendations, and fantastic seafood will have me back before summer ends. Heads up, if you’re driving and you think you’re lost, keep driving!
Jaleesa T — Google review
All the oysters we tried were good from the raw to roasted. Steak tartare was a little chunky but not bad. Blue crab and marrow dip was delicious. Service was great but the atmosphere became loud. Restaurant tipped themselves even though we only had 4 people in our party and the kitchen also took a 2%. No one informed us of that. I would prefer to tip ourselves instead of force tipping.
Ana R — Google review
Great atmosphere! Pat was our bartender and he was phenomenal, great recommendations and attentive service even with a bunch of tickets at the bar. Pat the owner was great too, great conversation with both of them. Delicious food, oysters, steak tartare and blue crab and bone marrow were great. Could not recommend the place enough! Brown Sugar Bourbon ice cream is out of this world.

True Chesapeake Oyster is an absolute vibe! From start to finish, our experience was incredible. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, the oysters fresh, briny, and local! Every dish we tried—from the scallops to the ribeye and duck confit—was unforgettable. The food quality is insane, and you can truly taste the passion behind every bite. The service was top notch—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. A special highlight was when the chef personally came to our table to share the rich history of the building. It added such a meaningful touch to an already perfect evening. We ended on a high note with a dessert that blew us away. Can’t wait to return

Traffic was terrible leaving Baltimore, so I found this place to hunker down until the roads became tolerable. It's a little difficult to find the door as it's inside a rather non-descript, industrial building. Service was fast (if not curt), but the star of the show is the Happy Hour menu. 2 dollar oysters and 6 dollar old fashioneds! They feature the shucker prominently at the bar, making quick work of the shells in front of him. They have a menu beyond HH that ranges from 15 - 80 dollars, with Oysters from around the area and things like Crab Mac and Cheese. I got here when they opened at 5 but it doesn't seem to get terribly crowded on a Tuesday evening. Nice spot, I'll be back soon.

Today, I decided to try Cindy Lou’s Fish House on the waterfront in Baltimore. It had very cool vibes, and the music was on point. My go-to spot is always the bar. The bartender was very attentive and helpful. For starters, I had a Pineapple Sun Down. I had a Caesar salad for my appetizer, and for my entree, I had the ribeye, which came with fries and asparagus. I did order some cornbread, and it was delicious. Last, I had the cheesecake, which comes in a small dessert glass. I do recommend this restaurant but I must say I was expecting more variety of fish, so that is why I ordered the steak.

Host was very pleasant and seated us outside with a lovely view of the harbor. Waitress was great, our food was out quickly and it was delicious. Please update your online menu. We did pick Cindy Lou's for a specific item which is no longer available. Staff told us online menu has not been updated for a while

I had the Lobster and gnocchi. It was full of lobster, unfortunately not the good parts. There were 3 bite sz pieces of lobster, and the rest were the flat tail end pieces with the not so tasty mush in it. That was a turn-off. I don't want to pay market price for the uneatable parts of the lobster nobody eats. The fried green tomatoes were fried perfectly. I would get the pimento ricotta and pepper jelly on the side. It made the fried batter kind of soggy. But if you like that enjoy. The crab balls were absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of sauces, but the sauce paired with it and a little drizzle of lemon..Amazing!! We ordered 2 more. The staff was 10 out of 10!!! The atmosphere was contemporary. The fireplace made it cozy, and looking out to the water made it very relaxing. P.s. the menu changes. But I was down to try something new. Unfortunately, the desert I was going to get wasn't on their new desert menu 😕 guess I didn't need it 🤭

Appears to the be the "house" restaurant associated with Canopy by Hilton, located right on the water, on the lovely promenade. Amazing view of the water, right across the harbor from Domino. We stopped in for an anniversary lunch and had a lovely experience with staff, food, and ambiance. Cindy Lou's had previously graciously donated to our kids' local neighborhood public school fundraiser, so we'd been meaning to go there for quite some time. After a lovely experience, we're not only glad we'd finally made the time but definitely looking forward to coming back again soon with friends!

We stayed at the Canopy by Hilton and planned to dine at Cindy Lou’s Fish House on Saturday, July 26 at 8:45 PM for my son’s birthday. The manager, Virginia, told us they were fully booked. I accepted it and planned to order room service — until I saw a walk-in couple seated with no reservation just moments later. When I questioned it, she claimed they had a reservation, which didn’t seem accurate based on what I observed. It left us feeling incredibly disappointed. My husband suspected we were turned away because we had a toddler — or possibly because we are an interracial family. Regardless, we felt unwelcome and unfairly treated. We expected a more inclusive and respectful experience from a restaurant of this caliber.

Cindy Lou’s is the restaurant in the Canopy by Hilton hotel where we stayed for the Maryland Cycling Classic. We had drinks at the bar both nights and brunch on Sunday. The bar is lovely, well stocked and has a beautiful view of the harbor. The bartenders were friendly and poured great drinks. I appreciate that on Friday they served us a drink past the 10:00 closing time. But if I had to make one suggestion it would be for the bar to stay open until 11:00 on Fridays. Brunch on Sunday was fantastic. We had the mushroom omelet and the breakfast Miga and we would get both again. The servers were really attentive and we had multiple people take care of us. Again, the view is lovely. Best of all is that the brunch prices were really good for the quality of the food and the location. We will eat there again even if we’re not staying in the hotel.

The place is so nice and view is good and relaxing. We visited on Sunday morning and loved the Chicken crispy burger and the Truffle fries were just amazing. My hubby had crab 🦀 soup which was nice too. Service was good and fast. Staff were kind and friendly. The portion is good enough. Definitely gonna visit again when we are in Baltimore.

This place has a great atmosphere, breezy and shaded. The drinks were good. Food was mid but I imagine more people come to drink and hang out and for that it’s perfect. The staff was attentive and accommodating. We had the turkey club/ using orange cheese on a sandwich is just a no for me - reminded me of cafeteria food- the turkey was a little slimy cheap lunch meat - good bread. The fries were a little skinny but ended up tasting better than they looked. Overall I would say come for some drinks but don’t count on this place for food- based on first impression.

Very dissatisfied with my time here. Waited 15 mins before server gave us menus. Ordered burrata blt and smash burger. Buratta blt had very little bacon and buratta for 16$ I had to send it back bc im not paying so much for how little you get. Smash burger was subpar. Menu said it came with grilled onions and got one sliver of barley cooked onion on the burger. Probably won’t return but the atmosphere was great.

After a very disappointing experience at Lighthouse Point, we decided to give this spot a try yesterday, and it completely turned our day around! We enjoyed a drink and ordered the steak sandwich and the Tuna Poke Bowl, both of which were incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. Views are amazing and drinks were pretty good (the Paloma is super spicy though - I like heat but wasn’t in the mood for something refreshing to burn). The guac was great and so were the island nachos. My friend loved the goat cheese pasta. The lobster tacos were uneven and tasted really mayonnaise-y and my lobster roll was only okay. Not something I’d order again. Also, the service was terrible.

The Urban Oyster was amazing from ALL levels! From the moment we walked in, I felt the vibrancy, elegance and warmth that makes this place truly special. The food? Exceptional. Everything from the Crab of Corn Soup, Taco Flight, Seared Scallops, and Grilled Branzino were spectacular 🤌🏾🔥! Everything was incredibly fresh, cleanly presented, and the flavours were bold but balanced. You can tell this isn’t just a restaurant - it’s a story of community, culture, and culinary excellence coming together. The staff were also really welcoming and knowledgeable! If you’re in Baltimore and looking for phenomenal seafood with soul, flavor, and a powerful story behind it, The Urban Oyster is the place. I’m already planning my next visit.

Very good food and excellent service. We started with the deviled eggs, which were topped with fried catfish rather than fried oysters. The grilled branzino was succulent and flavorful. Unfortunately the white bean puree, which was heavy with cumin, seemed out of place. I would have preferred a little lemon, maybe capers, in it for a more mediterranean flair. The tiramisu brownie was decadent. Noise level was high considering the restaurant was only half full.

10/10 no notes! Visiting my family in MD for the weekend and this was #1 on my to do list to try! The oysters and food were excellent. What I loved the most was the red snapper nuggets! This is an experience! My best friends and I, were on a girls’ trip through 4 cities. But this dining experience by far was the best! Lovely find in the cute neighborhood of Hampden in Baltimore. We were traveling back to DC from Philly and decided to stop for lunch in Baltimore. They offer much more than oysters as only my partner eats oysters. Reservations are a must on the weekends. We didnt make one and just sat at the bar. It's a beautiful, quaint restaurant. Service was attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the oyster deviled eggs and red snapper bites. The latter is actually a whole snapper, chopped into bites and sautéed in a sweet sand spicy sauce then placed back on the fileted body of the snapper. Both items were very good (although my partner said that oysterson top of the deviled eggs were just ok). We also had the collards/cabbage side item. Im not a fan of cooked cabbage, but this combo was well-seasoned and tasty. Our entrees were the branzino and the crab cakes. They crab cakes were all meat and no filler. They were pretty good. The branzino itself was ok (grilled and only seasoned with salt and pepper), but when you eat it with the bean puree underneath, it is really good. For dessert we had the vanilla butter cake and subd the mango sorbet instead of the vanilla ice cream. The dessert was superb. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Food was great!!! The service was a bit slow but it was crowded the evening we went so it was maybe to be expected. I would definitely be back for some delicious seafood. Highly recommend the lobster roll, snapper bites and the scallop entree!
Shannon R — Google review
I had high expectations for Urban Oyster. Unfortunately the food was lackluster. We snagged a last minute reservation for an early dinner and were seated right away. Started off hot with the oysters - the best thing we ordered in my opinion. The oysters were very fresh. I ordered the grilled branzino and my friend ordered the seared scallops as mains. (We skipped apps- nothing super appealing though the deviled eggs were tempting). The grilled branzino had no taste, and the green sauce it came with didn’t seem to go that well with the fish. The seared scallops were better in my opinion, scallops were good and the risotto was surprisingly light. It wasn’t anything to phone home about though. I felt a little unsatisfied by the meal but we still decided on trying the dessert while we were there. We ordered the key lime cheesecake - it’s regular cheesecake topped with a key lime curd and a graham cracker crust. It was good but the crust was a bit too dense and hard to cut through with just a spoon. Tasted good though- although Im just a fan of anything key lime. The cocktails were tasty but a little light on flavor. Overall, I love the vibe of the restaurant but not sure I’d come back any time soon unless for oysters and a drink.

I visit Baltimore often from Texas, so I'm always researching unique and local fare to experience. On this visit, my friend who has heard of this place also recommended we try it. It did not disappoint. Let's talk ambiance and decor. I would call it "sophisticated chic." From the front door to the restrooms. A color pallette that says "it's a vibe" to "date night romantic." I love the open view into the kitchen. Makes you completely one with all the staff. Speaking of staff, shout out to bartenders Abby and new hire Keyes! Great service and warmth. Both the food menu and the cocktail menu had just changed on the day visited. Abby's passion for her craft, as well as her love and pride for this black owned female establishment, was obvious. Now the food...wow! We, of course, went for the fresh shucked oysters as well as a variety of some grilled ones. So fresh and delish. We tried most of the app menu, and it did not disappoint. We ended the evening with a warm butter cake with a strawberry coulis...well you get the picture. Perfect balance of sweetness and richness. Had to order something from the dinner menu to go. How could we not! Short rib Parpedelle can't wait to try. I know it will hit. Overall, it was a great experience from food to service to staff. Oh yeah...price...well somewhat pricey but worth it. I recommend the Happy Hour, great menu pricing there. Would have loved to have met Chef Jasmine...maybe next time.

Pratt Street Ale House, located on Pratt Street in Baltimore, is home to Oliver's Breweries. This old brick taproom has been serving English-style ales since 1993. The brewery offers a variety of popular options such as the 3 Lions English strong ale, Bishops Breakfast oatmeal stout, and Draft Punk English-style IPA. Recently, the brewery announced a rebranding and the opening of a new standalone location with a tasting room to expand its offerings.
We started our visit to Baltimore by trying this bar/restaurant for lunch and it was such a good choice! Our food was fresh, hot, tasty and plenty filling before we first night at the music festival. There are plenty of local and regional craft beers along with daily drink specials and the menu stayed along the lines of expected bar snacks like pretzels and burgers, but there are also plenty of more upscale full dinners if you wish to go that direction. There's a dark, calm atmosphere accentuated by classic architecture and rich woodwork. Definitely a place to be after work or a weekend date night! Cheers!

My mom and I loved eating here. We came to Baltimore to see a concert, and it was close to our hotel. The location was nice, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We ate there two days in a row. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. They have plenty of options and as someone with a bunch of food allergies, it was nice to see. Our server Jazz was friendly, and she made the whole dining experience more comfortable. I'll definitely eat here, next time I'm in Baltimore.

I stopped by Pratt Street Alehouse and tried their Baked Soft Pretzels, which come with a side of beer cheese and the house mustard. The pretzels themselves were soft, fluffy, and generously sized—perfect for those who love a more doughy texture. If you’re someone who prefers a crisp or crunchy exterior, these might not hit the mark, but for me, they were a win. The house mustard was a standout—bold, flavorful, and one of the better pub mustards I’ve had. The beer cheese, on the other hand, was a bit underwhelming. It had a runny consistency and lacked the richness you’d expect, making it feel like more of an afterthought than a highlight. The dish includes two pretzels for $16.99, which felt fair given their size and the downtown location. One important note: a 20% automatic tip is added to every bill regardless of party size or order total. While that might catch some off guard, the service was friendly and efficient, and the space was clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere was lively. There are plenty of TVs and a lively crowd that are invested in the live sports events, which gives you the feeling of experiencing something together. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just along for the ride, the energy is contagious.

The wings and fries were hot and delicious, we got the mild wings but they had a pretty good heat to them. They had a large selection of beers and mixed drinks to choose from. The bartender was great, with great insight on the area, quick to refill your drink, offered great options for different drinks and just enjoyable to talk with. I am in town for a conference with some colleagues and we stopped here after registering. It was surprisingly decent. I had the Chesapeake Chicken, my colleagues had the salmon salad, the salmon dinner, and the chicken pasta - no complaints. We also had the crab dip which was also pretty good. For a quick bite to satisfy after a day of traveling, this did the trick. Waitress was great!

I went there after the ‘Ironman’ bobblehead game, with my friend. The food was 🧑‍🍳😘spectacular… Caesar salad was a Caesar salad. The Brussels sprouts were divine…. But that crab dip. Oh. My. Gawd!! <droooooool> worth every calorie!! BUT…our waiter, Cam, was the best freaking part of it all. We sat there as it started raining (lightly, but definitely got stronger) and he was willing to play along with our crazy. 10/10, no notes, stellar guy! I live in another time zone, but I have enjoyed evenings here before, and will most definitely do so again.

Our group showed up with 36 people towards the end of the night. Theo was our server and he was FANTASTIC. He kept us laughing the entire time. BY FAR the best experience I ever had at a restaurant. I recommend both the food and his service to anyone in the area! Whatever his salary is, it needs to be doubled immediately. Eddie with the Simulation Football League. Tell Theo we all said hello!

We pass this place all the time going to Pickles and that whole scene before Orioles game. We finally decided to give it a shot, and im glad we did. Crab cake dinner was delicious, burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great, great price on local beers, blocks from Orioles Park at Camden Yards. This is now our go-to before O's games.

The Capital Grille is an upscale steakhouse chain known for offering classic American fare in a refined setting. One Eleven at The Capital, located in The Capital hotel, has been a landmark since 1877 and underwent a significant renovation in 2016. With its hardwood floors, striking artwork, and floor-to-ceiling windows providing views of downtown Little Rock, the restaurant offers an elegant dining experience.
I think this is one of those places where the food always hits. I love the service they give you and the food is amazing. I have been here twice and I love it. Their bread is amazing. 😍 We had for appetizers a crab cake and wow, delicious. The green sauce made it so tasty. Our appetizers were also really good. Everything is worth it. 100% recommended specially if you have a special occasion.

The ladies and I dined at the Capital Grille in Baltimore. We kissed Summer goodbye and welcomed Autumn with salivating steak, lamb, sides, and sweets. We had a red and white wine flight to complement our meal. Everything was simply delicious. Our server was attentive and accommodating. We sat outside and chatted away to the background noise of Baltimore City. The weather, the wine, the food, and the company made the evening. If you are into fine dining and do not mind giving up a few pennies for quality and style (if you’re into that), then this place is highly enjoyable. Definitely adding it to the rotation. Cheers! 🥂

The Capital Grille is one of my favorite restaurants to come to when I’m in the mood for good eats! Tonight was no different, I needed a solo unwind. I had an espresso martini with Tequila(great), started with a lobster and crab cake appetizer(packed with flavor & unfortunately a lobster shell 🥺) otherwise delicious, ended with a filet, lobster tail to accompany & lobster Mac & Cheese. My waitress was delightful…only disappointing aspect was the lack of concern and apology for the fair sized lobster shell that I could have choked on. I almost felt brushed off when I brought it to attention.

The service and atmosphere was a 5/5. However, the food didn’t quite live up to hype. For the prices, I expected more flavor. Lobster Mac and cheese was watery, not thick consistency. The spinach had no flavor whatsoever.

Capital Grill has been consistently good location to location over the last 20 years. I would give 4.5 stars for food and service and 5 for atmosphere. They have the best calamari dish with the accompanying peppers and onions. We started with that and the seafood tower. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. We ordered three bottles of wine from their extensive selection, that is also reasonably priced. They could have more of a selection on their dessert wines, but the ice wine we ordered was enjoyed by all. Always recommend Capital Grill as one of the handful of best steakhouse chains in the country.

Nice place, I had good food besides the calamari it was dry and just regular but the tuna was so delicious and their lobster Mac and cheese yum!! We went for Mother’s Day it was pretty busy, service was great, the servers are definitely more on the older side but that didn’t stop them from giving us a great service. We spent about 2 hours there me and my mom. They have very delicious crème brûlée:) It is pricey but definitely worth to try. You do have to find parking and pay for it tho, either valet for 14$ or 7$ public parking.

I celebrated my birthday on my very first visit to The Capital Grille. My waiter, Carlos, was exceptional! He was very attentive and his menu suggestions were perfect. I told him I loved blackberries and vodka and he had the bar make me a blackberry martini 😋 He even presented me with a pink rose after dessert. I could have stayed just to be taken care of by him. My wagyu burger was seasoned and cooked impeccably, every bite was so delicious. I can't wait to get back to try other menu items and enjoy this experience again and again.

Such a good evening all around. Out here in Northern Baltimore county, while we do have a lot of nice and delicious places to eat, sometimes the daughter who is turning 18 for her birthday she wants a special steakhouse dinner. And after much research, we all know how much money things are, we settle on Capital grille and it did not disappoint. I mentioned on the reservations that it was her birthday put that we didn't need all the singers lol. After being seated, she got I guess discreetly given card that had confetti come out of it and then after our meal she even got are you free dessert with two kinds of cheesecake! In between those two things everything was perfect. Mary Lou was our server and she was absolutely lovely and took care of us and didn't make us feel weird about how particular each of us are with our food preferences. From no onions to add cucumbers to extra plate cuz I'm going to pick it their food, to can we get that with extra sauce and then can we get extra dressing on the side can you swap out this for that... Mary lou, all the supporting staff and the manager and obviously the cooks and the chef and everyone else in the back of the house accommodated it without us noticing if it was annoying or not! Appreciate it so much and I have more than enough leftovers to feed myself in the middle of the night... You might have thought I was going to say everyone for lunch tomorrow but no it's just for me!

*Update 6/28: Wind up going back sooner than I'd expected with my cousin. Even Busier this time: Became Swamped. Ran out of some things; got kinda crazy. Waitress and ALL Staff were Wonderful tho!👍✌️ 6/19: Upscale Casual? Business Suit or Bermuda Shorts; as long as you Look Presentable, you will feel & be comfortable here. Absolutely DIVINE experience!❤️ Busy but no super long wait. Cute, Cozy restaurant. Very Diverse Menu choices: Something 4 Every1. Awesome Customer Service. Stopped past here with a friend of mines after a NICE Juneteenth Celebration @ Baltimore Museum of Industry. Caught the free Banner Route which stops right near Kona & the Inner Harbor. Dimmer lighting but not as dark as Cheesecake Factory. CLEAN. Not too cold or hot in there. Waiter asked if any food allergies before we ordered. Food was GR8!; honestly, 1 of THE best (wagyu beef?) burgers I've ever had. Crispy fries. Everything came fresh & almost hot. Decent Enough Portion Sizes. Fabulous Presentation. Nothing was oversalted, esp the fries, like so many places are doing now. Ordered THE Tastiest Strawberry Margarita (Godbless whoever made it!); was gud & strong + not too sweet. Perfect amount of ice. Not watered down. My friend said her iced tea was Nice.✌️ Wait staff was attentive, without being a nuisance or intrusive. Omg Professional, Friendly, Patient, Very Welcoming Waiter; friend & I start talking for a while chillin' and we never felt rushed to order nor to finish our meal. Quiet, peaceful vibe; not loud. Respectful guests/diners. Even staff coming to clear tables afterward were SO sweet & friendly. Hostess checking ppl in so sweet: young men on Waitstaff ALL so Very Nice & Helpful. Carrot Cake for Dessert was Fabulous: Moist, Tender; a REAL Carrot Cake like my Homeade 1's and enough to share. Prices here are quite reasonable considering the Quality & Level of Service they give...And it doesn't seem Phony: Genuinely Cool Positive Vibes! They do have a Happy Hour Menu too with some DEALS. And they were Busy: Still Gave Phenomenal Service. Will most DEF be BACK.✌️Highly Recommend!💯👍

overall it was a good place to go for dinner. there were two conferences in town so it was very busy-packed! Wait time was an hour but we sat at the bar. They have a late night happy hour that worked perfect! We tried the margarita flight and the sake flight. Both were pretty good. Our server was wonderful. Other staff was polite.

Currently here, and unfortunately, the service has been absolutely terrible. We ordered from the 45-minute menu , the potstickers were unpleasant and the spicy tuna roll was just okay. My friend got the Kona Calamari and sushi salmon: the calamari was overcooked and extremely salty (definitely needed a lemon to cut through it), and the salmon didn’t look fresh,it actually looked a bit old. Our waitress, bless her heart, clearly needs retraining. Service was painfully slow, and she brought out one entree dish before the appetizers. I had to watch my friend finish her entire meal before I even received mine or our starters. She also forgot a drink we ordered, and by that point, we were just ready to leave.Overall, this was a disappointing experience. Management should have stepped in well before it got to this point. We’re now looking for another place to eat because this meal left us completely unsatisfied. Would not recommend at all

The food was great. The service was less than great. It was not the Waiters fault. They only had two waiters working the entire dining floor. There was a total of 4 people at my table including me. We wanted to have a few drinks before going to a show at the CFG Arena. We only had two Old Fashioned drinks because the service was so slowwwww we had to cancel our other drinks. We arrived 4:40p and it’s now 6:27. Nearly two hours to get the check. If the staff is reading this. It’s Saturday night and an event is in the area. Later, they ran out of silverware during deserts but did offer plastic utensils. I had the shrimp tacos and the brownie cake. Might not return unless I see better reviews in the future. I do not recommend this to friends and family.

came during happy hour after 9pm. We sat at the bar with the bartender, Roni, and she was lovely! Very pleasant service and atmosphere. She checked on us and engaged various times throughout the night. The crab crunch roll was delicious. Overall it was a great experience! Thank you. Did not get a photo of my sushi but did include a few of my drinks from the lovely bartender 🥰

I came here with 3 friends after the Baltimore aquarium and we had a terrible experience. The first thing we noticed when we entered were 2 large fish tanks by the entrance that looked absolutely HORRIBLE. One was empty, with cloudy nasty water. The other had white rings around the top, indicating that the water had not been topped up or changed in a very long time. Inside the tank all the walls were covered in algae, and there was no movement in the water (meaning no filter). This wasn't the only thing off about the entrance though. There was no host stand, just a table with a "take-out pickup here" sign and a security guard, leading us to believe we had walked into the wrong door at first. Once we were seated (the table and seats were dirty by the way), my friend and I went to use the restrooms. We were appalled by the state of both the women's and men's restrooms, which were on par with a gas station bathroom in cleanliness- unacceptable for a restaurant. The locks on the stall doors were broken, and it clearly had not been cleaned in a while. After these red flags the group decided we would get only appetizers and find another place to eat dinner. Our waitress was the only good thing about the experience, she was very kind and we did leave her a tip. However, the appetizers we ordered were abysmal. We got the calamari and the avocado spring rolls for our vegan friend. The calamari was fine, but the sauce cup had a layer of water sitting on top of the sauce, probably from not being fully dried after the dishwasher. The avocado spring rolls were literally just mashed avocado, picture attached. This could have been our fault, but there also wasn't a description on the menu so we assumed it would be more similar to guacamole. The salad garnish was unbelievably dry as well. We paid $50 total for a handful of calamari and 2 small spring rolls filled with avocado. I don't think I need to explain why that isn't worth it. Overall we hated being in there and left as soon as possible, no wonder it was so empty. Hopefully those fish can be moved to a better tank soon.

My first time in Kona Grill and it will be my last. The food in Kona Grill was very unpleasant. I ordered chicken fried rice, it was very greasy and way too much pepper added. The cheeseburger was too dry and it needed more seasoning on it. The service was good but the food is below average and pricey. There are far better options in the area.

Gertrude's is a sophisticated restaurant located within the Baltimore Museum of Art, offering New American cuisine with a local twist. The restaurant, owned by chef John Shields, is known for its locally sourced farm-fresh food that pays homage to the region's culinary traditions. With a scenic backdrop of the museum's sculpture garden, Gertrude's provides an elegant setting to savor regional specialties like Chincoteague Single-Fry Oysters and house-made soda flavors.
Location, atmosphere, seating, service, and the menu! Gertrude's been hiding out at the Baltimore Museum of Art for some time now. I discovered Gertrude's while attending a candlelight concert honoring Lauren Hill at the BMA. The food and drinks were flavorful and delicious. They offer a variety of fine surf and turf items and some house specials on the drink menu. Their not too pricey pricey. The candlelit atmosphere gave it a cozy and classy feel. You can dine inside or outside under the stars while gazing at the beautiful garden fountain. Gertrude's dining experience made our date night truly one remember for years to come.

I really wanted to give Gertrude's a higher review. It is a nice clean sit-down restaurant, there is just nothing special or extra about it. Gertrude's is very conservative, from the coffee to food and the dining room. The food was nice, but it lacked any type of flavor or seasoning, which is good if you don't like a lot of seasoning or extra flavoring. It's definitely convenient being in the Baltimore Museum of Art.

My first dining experience at Gertrude’s after the Candlelight Concerts featuring the Best of Bridgerton on Strings. When you see the white linen tablecloth at a restaurant, you expect a fine dining experience. Gertrude’s didn't disappoint with the menu options, libations, service, and ambiance.

Gertrude’s atmosphere is truly a gem from its stunning outdoor seating and sculpture garden and proximity to the museum. I had lunch at the bar and only had oysters and a few cocktails.
Ansell W — Google review
Perfectly fine place to grab a bite whether you’re at the museum for a visit or wish to make a special event if it as a stand-alone restaurant. The martini I had was marvelous but the rest of the food was unmemorable. A crab cake that was good but surrounded by two tasteless sides: potato pieces that were far too large and some greens. The views of the sculpture garden when sitting outside are very lovely but you won’t walk away talking about the food: for better or worse.

Fine dining at a museum. What more could you ask for? The wait staff is very nice and the food is even better. They will customize any meal to your desire. The eggs Benedict and crab cakes are what you should go for if you’re hungry. Worth it!

I have lived in Maryland my whole life and I've never visited Gertrude's before. Gertrude's is a lovely restaurant on the 1st floor of the Baltimore Museum of Art. We only had appetizers and drinks while there. Everything was great, from the food to the drinks to the service. I especially enjoyed my calamari and my second drink which was some kind of sangria. They also provided this type of rosemary bread and cornbread free for the table. I am not much of a cornbread eater but I loved loved the bread. Oh the hush puppies were really good too and they served them with apple butter. Yummy!

Ouzo Bay is a Mediterranean restaurant located in Baltimore's Harbor East, offering an upscale dining experience with a focus on Greek-inspired seafood dishes and an extensive selection of ouzo. The restaurant features a chic setting and has quickly become a favorite spot for locals seeking hearty Greek cuisine and a lively social atmosphere.
Ouzo bay delivers on all levels when it comes to Greek food and fresh seafood in particular their starters menu is great. We had the dips and that was great. We had grilled calamari which is fresh and also very healthy and I ended up with the sword fish from Block Island and my friend had the salmon both very well prepared and grilled on a real grill as opposed to a flat top filled with fat and butter like in most restaurants and Ouzo Bay has a nice atmosphere, the service was terrific and a good selection of Greek wines. Recommended and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food compared with any other high end restaurant I've had dinner in Baltimore.

An Extraordinary Evening at Ouzo Bay: Where Excellence Meets Heart ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ouzo Bay delivered an absolutely phenomenal dining experience that exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked through the doors, the welcoming staff made it clear that this wasn't just a meal it was going to be something special. The service at Ouzo Bay was nothing short of amazing. Every team member demonstrated professionalism, warmth, and genuine care that made the entire evening feel effortless. They struck the perfect balance between attentive service and giving guests space to enjoy their experience. The food was simply outstanding. Each dish showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality and authentic Mediterranean flavors. From the fresh seafood to the perfectly seasoned accompaniments, every bite was a testament to the kitchen's skill and passion. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were even better. What made this experience truly remarkable was witnessing Ouzo Bay welcome Baltimore's Street Chronicles youth for fine dining and etiquette training. The staff embraced this opportunity with such grace and enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and learning. Watching these young people experience fine dining while learning proper etiquette was heartwarming and inspiring. The restaurant team went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable, valued, and engaged. They transformed what could have been an intimidating experience into one filled with laughter, learning, and genuine connection. This evening embodied everything wonderful about Baltimore's spirit community, growth, and opportunity coming together in the most beautiful way. Ouzo Bay didn't just serve a meal; they created lasting memories and opened doors to new experiences for these young people. Ouzo Bay has earned a permanent place on my list of exceptional restaurants. Their combination of incredible food, outstanding service, and genuine heart makes them a true gem in Baltimore's dining scene. This is what hospitality looks like when it's done right with skill, warmth, and purpose. Highly recommended for anyone seeking not just a great meal, but a truly meaningful dining experience.

Really nice spot on the water near the inner harbor in Baltimore. The outdoor bar is wonderful in the nice weather, as you can feel the breeze from the harbor, and don’t feel like you’re in the city anymore. The menu is great - a Mediterranean fusion of unique flavors. You have to order from a QR code and an app at the table, which for the prices was a bit annoying, but the food was worth it. It did take a while to receive our food - and it wasn’t that busy when we were there, so just be prepared to wait. This is definitely more of a “cool atmosphere” place to chill with friends or have a date night. I would still go back to try more menu items, as we only got a few apps. Drinks are overpriced, but the spinach pie/spanakopita was amazing - I would’ve ordered 4 more!

The food was amazing the app and entree where to die for. The salad and dessert were ehh. But since we didnt “select” them i wont count them in this review. My server was not very prompt however. I has to get up and ask a random person for assistance. My actual server never came back to the table after her two bite check in. Also. The website said that live music was there every friday and saturday, and that was not the case for valendtines day (friday). Other than that. I have no complaints. The restaurant is pricey, but the flavor of the dishes we ordered matched my expectation. On a scale of 1/10 id give it a 7.5/8. Considering an average score being 5. This place met expectation

The food was excellent. The sparkling water was the bomb. I don't usually do mussels, but theirs were flavorful. Definitely would go back.

I might have caught them on a bad night but the place was practically empty so the noise of the bartender and a male patron at the bar working out some relationship issue that no one wanted to listen to and deteriorated the service level. A first failure for Atlas. Some of he food was delicious but I’m sure it can be found in a more enjoyable environment. $150 for an unenjoyable experience and food I sent back for being undercooked. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

Nice place with decent service. Obviously a bit loud, but not awful - especially for a bar in Fells Point. Friendly service, just a little slow, but a lot of Baltimore charm. Pictured is the crabcake sandwich. A bit too wet for my liking, but it was fresh and the sweet potato fries were good as well. If there were more seats outside, we would've sat outside - very nice views of Harbor East and the Sagamore.

I ended up coming here for brunch after some of the more popular places had a 25+ min wait. The positives were the wait staff were absolutely amazing. They were so considerate of my dog and made sure to give him lots of love. We got the crab dip, pulled pork waffle and tuna wrap. The crab dip was actually great, and might have been one of the best ones we’ve had during our trip. The pulled pork waffle was a little sweet.

Delicious! We stopped here unexpectedly (the restaurant we were headed too could not rally to open on time) and we were quite happy. The gumbo was fabulous. From the time I was a little girl living on the 400 block of East Chase Street, I set my sights on visiting The Prime Rib Restaurant. I can still picture the elegantly dressed patrons stepping out of their limousines and heading into that stunning establishment while my friends and I were often sent back to our neighborhood I finally made it to The Prime Rib, and it was absolutely breathtaking. This experience was more than worth it! When I walked in the door, I was treated like royalty and escorted right to my seat. As I settled in, I heard the joyful sound of a saxophone playing "Happy Birthday." Then, I was presented with my gorgeous cake brought by my grandchildren, along with beautiful flowers from everyone. It was truly amazing! Even hours after returning home, I'm still smiling. I had a fantastic night with my family, and I want to say I love you all. Thank you for making this such a memorable evening! The food was absolutely magnificent; every dish we savored was cooked to absolute perfection. It’s no surprise that this establishment has thrived throughout my entire lifetime. Each bite was a delightful journey of flavors, showcasing the skill and dedication of the chefs. The ambiance exuded elegance, just as I had always envisioned it would, with beautifully arranged tables and a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the exquisite cuisine.

I came here on last minute plans for my birthday but I had such an amazing time it was clearly meant to be. I had the mignon and my friend had the lamb and they were both good perfect. My steak had this beautiful crust that I loved. The sides were good but I wish I would have got the corn over the creamed spinach. The cocktails were good as well and the crème brûlée ended the night off well. The pianist was amazing and really set a beautiful atmosphere. I’m really looking forward to coming here again

Came here with my wife to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. Explained this in the reservation, and when the restaurant called me to confirm it, they mentioned that it was for our anniversary. We get here and no one acknowledges what we came here for, yet another couple got a free dessert for their anniversary. It’s not about the free food, it’s about being acknowledged, and as a lesbian couple, the sting of no one caring at such a high end place was disappointing to say the least. After reading some of the other negative reviews, it’s giving that this place profiles against queer and Black people and does not give them the same quality service. On top of that, the food was simply mediocre. We both got the 8oz filet which were both overseared and lacked flavor. My mashed potatoes were inedible because of the amount of onion put into it. They were over whipped as well. My wife’s baked potato was not salted. I’m surprised at the lack of seasoning on all the food in general. Overall, extremely disappointing for a place that constantly gets good reviews. I wish we would’ve had a better experience here. The Prime Rib was excellent. Classic, upscale steakhouse vibe with a warm, welcoming feel. The steaks were juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. Sides and appetizers were solid, and service was professional and attentive. Perfect spot for a special night out or a hearty, satisfying meal.

The food here was amazing! I’ve been to the prime rib in DC, but this Baltimore location was even better. I got the Chilean sea bass while my friend got the signature cut prime rib Oscar style and both food items were delicious! We also shared the oyster Chesapeake, asparagus, creamed spinach and lobster Mac and cheese which were also very good. We will definitely return here in the future!

The seafood restaurant Riptide by the Bay in Fells Point is a casual waterfront atmosphere with delicious crabs. It is a great spot for sports events and nightlife, complete with live music weekends.
The wings were so good obviously. the drinks were SO good, they get you drunk fast so be careful😭😭😂the dj and bartenders are so fun! it was r&b night and the vibes were great

Nice little crab house and pub. It's perfectly located near the water and on a good weather night offer outdoor seating. The crabs were meaty, the shrimp comes in this sauce that is so good to use with the crabs. Definitely a spot the wife and I will return too for another date night.

This is definitely a great spot to relax rest and take in the atmosphere. Great music from inside the bar area. Picnic style seating. The greeter is attentive and helpful. Nice crowd. The food is omg (try the beach bum burger or catfish bites).

We were staying across the street at the Sagamore Pendry. We decided to go Macross the drink Friday night after concert to get.drinks against what my niece had advised about this place. We did not go inside we sat in their outdoor dining. We did look inside and noticed that everyone was having lots of fun. Our waitress was super friendly and full of energy. We ordered a few drinks to include a mango margarita....that tasted like sugary koolaid. Was horrible!! All our drinks were extremely watered down and so we thought if we got shots that the liquor would be better. Nope.....not even close!! To make it even worse the bill was almost $100!!!! Shocked me. I wouldn't go here if getting a decent drink is your end game. We didn't try any food at all because the drinks were so bad!!

We had to wait over an hour for oysters and French fries. The server never checked on us the entire time, my sons food was the first which was tenders and fries. The tenders were over cooked and the fries were okay. The plate was hotter than the good. They said they were understaffed. I much rather would have been told that from the beginning and given the option to wait or not. Not a good experience. Will not return here again unfortunately. UPDATE: The manager did come and try to fix the issues. We received gift cards for our next visit and they did apologize for the service.

Great outdoor patio right across from The Sagamore Pendry Hotel. Food was tasty had the oysters,Beach burger and Ahi Tuna fish tacos 🌮. There was no wait, service a little slow and our waiter was a little weird. All in all we enjoyed Riptide.

I can only review what I had here at Riptide so my rating only speaks to that experience. As you can see by the pics below, they are in a prime location by the bay. They specialize in seafood amongst other dishes but this day, we were in need of some seafood. We had reservations, so, of course we were seated immediately. It seemed this place does really good volume because the bar was stacked and the staff was in great number. We ordered our drinks(it came out immediately) and then awaited our appetizer. We ordered 6 Maryland blue crabs along with the Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Served with roasted potatoes, pan fried artichokes hearts, baby carrots, green beans, trumpet mushrooms, red Swiss chard & lemon-dill butter. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, Pan seared & served over homemade potato gnocchi with maitake mushrooms, asparagus spears & applewood bacon. The appetizer: The crabs seemed a bit old... it seemed it wasn't prepared with Old Bay Seasoning and all Blue Crab lovers know that if it ain't Old Bay Seasoning, you MUST nail it with your own seasoning. It didn't get there. Lots of seasonings but just less flavorful than we are accustomed to. The Entree: The surroundings to my Salmon was wonderful. The Salmon was a bit hard and didn't seem grilled, but fried. It had no grill marks or chard grill food pieces. Being a foodie and a Culinary Arts specialist, this grabbed my attention immediately. My wife's Chilean Sea Bass was delightful just as the preparation of my entree to the eyes. But she stated it was a little fishy. I tasted it and told my wife that she was right... but for a white fish, Sea Bass does have a fishy taste with an ammonia twang to it. We laughed that off because she didn't know. The Ambiance of the place was okay.. we had a small issue when we were 1st seated and it was immediately corrected... Thank you! - This place came highly recommended to us. I wonder if the recommendation was because of the location and less of the meal? The prices were great for 2 people. Thank you!

Basque restaurant
Restaurant
La Cuchara is an elegant eatery in Baltimore, offering an intimate atmosphere and serving Basque cuisine such as pintxos and tapas. In response to current times, the restaurant has transformed into a virtual grocery store where customers can shop from home and pick up their items. The marketplace offers a variety of grocery options including vegetables, fresh herbs, cheeses, meat, pantry items, prepared foods, and a wide selection of alcohol for carryout.
Outstanding Meal! La Cuchara delivers top-notch Basque flavors. The mussels was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was absolutely fantastic — rich, flavorful, and balanced. Duck Magret was tender and juicy, with sides that elevated the whole dish. The lamb shoulder was smoky, juicy, and paired beautifully with the accompanying vegetables. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the wine list was well-curated.

Even though the restaurant leans toward the fine dining/luxury side in pricing, the experience felt more like fast food. The waiters rush you to eat and leave, which completely takes away from any chance to enjoy the meal. It’s also too noisy to have a comfortable dinner. On top of that, a 22% tip was automatically added—not required, but definitely made to feel obligatory.
GONCA Y — Google review
La Cuchara is definitely worth a visit. Parking is directly out font and there were plenty of spaces on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation in advance, but they also gave a large bar area. The menu includes small bites, tapas, entrees, and tinned seafood options. Once seated, they give you a few slices of their fresh baked bread, and you can order a loaf to take home! We loved the onion and garlic bread. There is quite a lot to choose from on the main menu and they have a large wine list. We ordered the 12-month aged Jamon (to die for), the shrimp, oyster fritters, and lobster broth mushrooms. Our service was great- thanks to Amanda for some bread to take home after they ran out of the onion/garlic bread. Attentive service and friendly staff.

Don’t seem to recall how this made it to my hit list. I’m glad it was. Since we were not as hungry, we ordered small plates like croquetas, small empanadas, candy bar dessert, and fried oysters to share. The only disappointment was not having jamon iberico on the menu. Will certainly go again to try the wines and anything grilled. They have the grill I’ve seen in Spain. Service was attentive.

I went to La Cuchara to celebrate my partner's birthday! The restaurant location is great, from being right next to the lightrail and also having parking. I think the ambiance is great and the paintings on display by Julia Gould are really nice. We had the marinated manchego (very unique, and we especially liked the pear sauce!). The croquettes are really good, but the jamon croquettes definitely do not need that sauce. The sauce is too bitter, but the croquettes are great. The spinach and gruyere was everything to write home about and really surprised me by being that delicious. The servers were SUPER attentive. The bread for the table was nice, I just wish it was toasted or semi-warm. Having cold bread does not allow for the butter to melt and that is not ideal for me. However, moving on to the tapas, the trout was excellent (I admired the roasted tomatoes), and the patatas bravas were as my friend put it a "bumper," but not a "banger." The seasoning was good, but it also had that bitter red sauce that the jamo croquettes had to. In the future, I would opt out of that sauce or ask for an alternate. The servers were also kind to point out anything we might not have known especially for our friend who was allergic to shellfish (please be aware that they fry seafood in the same oil, so that is a risk for anyone who is allergic) but they were phenomenal about communicating that with us and letting us know alternates that we could order or parts to remove. Overall, I really liked the lamb shoulder (so decadent!!! And yummy!!!) The mushrooms/morels were great too! I also really admired the earl grey tea pudding (?) That was so nice and really a unique type of sweetness. I got great vibes from the restaurant and would love to go again for another special occasion.

New American restaurant
Brunch restaurant
Gunther & Co. is a spacious two-level restaurant with a charming patio that offers a diverse menu of globally inspired New American cuisine and craft cocktails. The venue features various dining spaces, including a central dining room with a striking living plant wall, an elegant heated patio with fire features and a koi pond, and even a chef's counter for an interactive culinary experience. The restaurant is housed in the renovated boiler room of the historic Gunther Brewery, adding to its industrial chic ambiance.
The eclectic take on seafood and the variety of offerings on this menu are like no other. From the raw bar to the full menu this is the place for everyone just don't tell the tourist. The atmosphere matches the menu, plenty of variety in the vibe you want, fun Happy Hour crowd with music or romantic dinner. The also have a lifted room for large private gatherings.

I decided to try a restaurant in Canton. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I liked the concept of the brick walls. I started with a Baileys on the rocks, and as you can see from the photos, I had a glass full of ice with only a shot of Baileys. Yes, I sat at the bar. Next, I tried the passion fruit lemonade. This restaurant offers a limited menu for brunch, so I would recommend coming for dinner; however, on the day I went, I was told they were closing early for a private event. After studying the menu for a while, I selected the Caesar salad. It doesn't have the usual Caesar taste. The dressing was green and had a tart taste to it. Also, they used baby spinach, and they added pickled onions. Next, I ordered a hamburger well done, but it wasn't, and my fries were overcooked. I enjoyed the frozen lemon meringue tart. Also, I tried the biscuits, and they were hard and cold.

Celebrated my daughter's birthday at Gunther & Co after reading the phenomenal reviews. Had oyster samplers, Brussels sprouts app, Yuzu vodka cocktail, scallops entree, and the table sampled the array of amazing desserts. Service was fantastic, and everything we tasted was sensational. The cocktail was light and lovely, the pickle brine oysters were my personal favorite, the Thai-inspired brussels - 🤌👌, the scallops melted in my mouth, and just whooooooaaaa on those DESSERTS... Well done, G&Co! It was an experience to remember!

Definitely 5 stars! The ambience is perfect. What was previous a brewery has become a very nice restaurant, with industrial and modern architecture. The food was spectacular. We had octopus as an appetizer and for mainly dish, duct and short rib with brown risoto. We went there for my husband’s birthday celebration. When making my reservation, I kindly asked if they could provide a desert with candles and “happy birthday” on it, and they did it as a surprise. Highly recommend!

The pork chop was out of this world!! Lick my plate clean level sauce work. A member of our party is gluten free so for a 5$ upcharge we could add crudité to the hummus plate (and the flatbread for the rest of us was magnificent). I was expecting a few carrots and celery but the plate of raw veggies was a beautiful variety. That was a lovely option for all of us! The server was very knowledgeable about the GF and cross contamination aspects of the menu so we appreciated that greatly. Also the Basque cheesecake was so yummy!! I don't live in this part of the country but this was "drive all night back to Baltimore" good.

Dinner at Gunther’s was amazing. We shared a few appetizers and each did not disappoint. The space was a revitalized industrial space (brewery) with beautiful brick and metal accents throughout. The area was well-lit and open. Bathrooms were clean. Our server was attentive and descriptive when talking through different dishes. We started with the baked oysters, grilled octopus, crispy pork belly, and Brussels sprouts. I had the duck breast for the entree and it was perfectly cooked, soft, and flavorful. For dessert we shared the pumpkin custard and some spice bread. Cocktails were balanced, just had the old fashioned like drink myself. Overall, definitely recommend a visit and will come back in the future!

Ampersea is a stylish waterfront restaurant located in Fells Point, Baltimore. The restaurant offers a beautifully curated dining experience with stunning views of the Patapsco River. Their menu features New American fare, including classic Maryland dishes made with produce grown by local at-risk youth through Living Classrooms. This was our first time here, and we came for happy hour. We sat outside by the water and it was perfect. Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. The food and drinks were amazing. The manager Joey was so awesome!!! He made our day by stopping by and talking/joking with us. And he took an awesome photo for us to take home! We will definitely be back!

We celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary at Ampersea and it was everything we hoped for...romantic, welcoming, and delicious. From the moment we arrived, the service was top tier. Joey, the manager, set the tone with excellent hospitality, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. The food was outstanding! We shared the pretzel crab dip to start, then enjoyed the stuffed seafood lasagna and a perfectly seasoned crab cake. Every bite was fresh and flavorful, truly showcasing the best of Baltimore dining. The atmosphere was just what we wanted...intimate yet lively, with a beautiful waterfront vibe that made our evening extra special (even with kids). Ampersea delivered on food, service, and experience, making our anniversary one to remember. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic dinner or simply a top-notch meal in the city.

My family and I dined at Ampersea last night 8/20 for my daughter’s birthday. We were greeted by Joey, a manager, whom directed us to our seats. Which he made sure we had the best seats by the water of course. The service was beyond amazing. The food was 10/10 but an honorable mention goes to the Shrimp and Crab dip w/the pretzel. I’ve had crab dip around the city at plenty of restaurants but this is EASILY the best I’ve had. While dining Joey came and checked on us multiple times. This guy is truly the best! He made our experience like no other and for that I will always patronize Ampersea. Our waitress Kee Kee was so warm as well. I can’t wait to bring my mom here when she visits! Blackwall Hitch Restaurant is a casual yet upscale restaurant located in the heart of Baltimore's trendy district. Offering mouthwatering food and beverages, great local music, and friendly service, this spot is perfect for any occasion.
Excellent food and service. We did brunch on a Saturday morning. We all had a drink. The Bloody Mary was a little spicy, which I liked. Chocolate Peanut Butter martini was like a dessert. Crab cakes and breakfast sandwiches hit the spot. Would go back. Glad I talked the group out of going to The Hard Rock.

We really enjoyed our meal at Blackwall Hitch. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was also outstanding; our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Parking was convenient but quite expensive, so be prepared for that if you’re driving. The biggest drawback was the location. Unfortunately, downtown Baltimore has become noticeably less inviting. The area around the restaurant was dirty, and we encountered several homeless individuals digging through trash and asking for money, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. That said, once inside, Blackwall Hitch offered a great dining experience. If you’re planning a visit, just be aware of the surroundings and plan accordingly.

After looking forward to eating at this restaurant for a while, it turned out to disappoint at every turn. We sat at the bar where there bartender seemed like she was miserable being at her job and had her belongs sprawled out across the bar. While the rest of the staff stood in a corner openly playing on their cell phones. Our drinks had no coasters or napkins (I had to get my own) under them and served in dirty glassware. We ordered the shrimp and grits and what was said to be chorizo was quite clearly ground beef. Zero spice, zero attempt to mask the fact they’re using ground beef. My husband was served risotto that tasted awful. When we tried to pay our bill using a gift card, the manager refused to honor it. We had called the night before and spoke to a host to get the balance and after being told we needed to call a partnered restaurant to do so, he assured us we could use the card at their location. The manager flat out told us we should’ve asked to speak to a manager instead of a host for a very simple request. Instead of trying to fix any type of mistake his staff made, he shrugged his arms in a “oh well” fashion and walked off. If you are looking to have a mediocre dinner accompanied with awful customer service, this is the place for you.

Visited Baltimore for the weekend and decided to try Blackwall Hitch. The decor and overall atmosphere are absolutely lovely — elegant, stylish, and inviting without feeling stuffy. We ordered the mimosa bucket, which runs about $50 and is actually a great deal for the amount of champagne included. Definitely worth it if you’re brunching with friends. To start, we had half a dozen oysters, which were fresh and flavorful — I’d give them a solid 8/10. For my entrée, I had the crab cake eggs benedict, which was good overall. I just wish the eggs had been a bit more poached and runny, as they were slightly overcooked, but the flavor was still there — 7/10. My friend ordered the Baltimore breakfast skillet, which was hearty and filling — lots of food, and everything tasted fresh. The only thing that fell a little short were the grits; they were a bit grainy and underwhelming. However, the sausages were great and well-seasoned. Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and I also have to mention that the bathrooms were spotless, which is always appreciated. Overall, a great experience with good food, great service, and a beautiful setting. I’d definitely go back next time I’m in Baltimore.

It was my first time at this location. My friend and I were looking for a place nearby to eat and asked someone in passing who happened to work there. That was lucky for us since we were very satisfied with our dining experience there. The fried green tomatoes came on a bed of grits, and they were yummy. My friend also had a crab cake sandwich, and I had crispy shrimp tacos and the sauce had a nice kick. So good! Even the french fries were delicious.

Went with my family (2 adults and 2 kids) on 9/6. My wife loved her shrimp tacos, and the kids loved the cheese pizza. I might have just ordered the wrong thing but the fish sandwich was the blandest dish I've had in awhile (wife concurred). The waitress got us some tartar sauce and we tried to add that and it was still not helping unfortunately. Our waitress was great, when she was there but disappeared for 15+ mins at a time. For example, we got our food delivered, took a bite of the sandwich... And was next able to ask for tartar sauce at the same time I asked for the check because everyone had finished their food. Fries were great. If my wife wants to go, I'll go again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Located in Baltimore, The Corner Pantry is a relaxed and contemporary British cafe owned by chef Neill Howell and his wife. It offers locally sourced, modern British cuisine for breakfast and lunch. The menu features items like the turkey sandwich, farm salads, weekly specials, and Saturday donuts. With its homage to English roots and award-winning breakfast options, this cafe provides a delightful dining experience for visitors exploring Baltimore's cultural attractions.
Love the creativity and quality. Apparently so does the rest of the world, because it was MOBBED! If you are handicapped, do not come in the door closest to the lake falls village tower!!!! There was barely room to move, and it was overwhelming. I was anxious. I realized there is a second door, and it’s the better door. Both doors are very heavy though, and the correct door is the farthest from the accessible parking. The food is so so tasty and, as I said, kudos for creativity! I tried the pear, goat cheese, toffee muffin, deviled eggs, and matcha with almond milk. Every single food and beverage tastes unlike anywhere I’ve ever had it before: better (although the rosemary, chocolate chip with lemon…maybe raspberry chocolate chip with lemon? Or strawberry? Didn’t like the rosemary but was glad to try something out of the ordinary).

Had lunch with another couple yesterday at The Corner Pantry on Falls Rd. This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. It's a very nice venue. You order, pay, and tip at the cash register before you even know the level of service you will experience. We had good service. I had Welsh Rarebit. This is supposed to be toast with a savory cheese sauce on top. The Corner Pantry adds thin slices of grilled ham. Unfortunately, the layer of savory cheese sauce was so thin that I couldn't even taste it. I searched under the ham and saw that the layer of cheese sauce was actually present, but the taste of it was overpowered by the ham. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly.

Very cute cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and pastries! The biscuits and crumpets are heavenly! Very fluffy and almost cloud like! Perfect for a sandwich! The chocolate chip cookies were delicious with a slight crisp outer layer and soft middle. Overall really nice spot to go hang out for a bit!

Had a late breakfast here. At 9:30 there was plenty of available seating both inside & outside. I had a Farm Plate and my son had an All Day Egg & Cheese (with smoked salmon). I also had an Apple & Rhubarb Streusel pastry. All of the food was delicious. Staff were patient, helpful and attentive. Restrooms were clean (there are two mixed gender toilets). Somewhat on the pricey side for breakfast ($67 for two with drinks/pasties), although what isn’t these days?

I love this place so much. If you order ahead they will have your carry out order ready for you to pick up from the side door. The inside is beautiful but often fairly crowded and the tables inside are pretty small and close together. There are larger tables outside of the sun and temperature are cooperating it’s where I prefer to sit. The food is not cheap but it is delicious and high quality. Service is good and friendly.

British cafe with a small menu of dine in and plenty of pastries/baked goods to choose from. We were in the area and saw this place on the map and decided to give it a try. You place an order at the counter and then find a seat. It was packed on a Friday morning. The inside is very small and narrow, with a lot of small tables. We ordered a sandwich, pancakes, and a sausage roll. The sausage roll had such good flavor but felt too buttery. The egg sandwich served on the crumpet was just ok, I loved the crumpet. I will just get the crumpet next time. The pancakes were my favorite. They were perfectly fluffy and had a sweet crunchy topping served with bananas. I love fruit so I wish they gave more fruit! Everything was delicious but on the heavier side. I’d come back to try the delicious looking baked goods! Parking there’s a lot and there’s extra tables outside if it’s warm!

I do love the Corner Pantry, and have been loyal customer for years, but the pricing has crossed a line into unreasonable. First, I do know how hard it is to run a profitable restaurant in 2025. Inflation is real. Staffing is hard. I’m so glad they stuck it out and am grateful they’re here. I always want to support great local businesses, and I was understanding for a time after their recent expansion about why they had to raise prices and seriously reduce portions. Sad - but okay. However - I think it’s gone too far crossed into some pretty unreasonable pricing - which feels excessive - like they know they have a captive audience with few other options - and they can milk it for all it’s worth. I was just charged $17 (after tip) for a SINGLE small PANCAKE (pictured), and $10 for an iced chai latte after tip. We’ve gone too far - and sadly just like I stopped going to Stonemill when a sandwich passed $20, gonna have to stop coming here regularly and make this a very rare occasion spot. Which is sad. I just think that’s predatory pricing. Maybe they can find enough billionaires for pay these prices - I guess everything is this world is for the super rich now - even our local bakeries. Stopped by here to have lunch at around 2pm, but since they close at 3pm, they had already run out of some great dishes (which narrowed our options considerably, because we’re vegetarian). We ended up getting two cold salads and some fries. The food was delicious! (The sweet potato salad was the best!) The place was crowded but during a slightly quieter time, one might be able to enjoy the ambience better. I’d suggest getting here early (looks like it’s primarily a breakfast spot), especially on weekends.

Japanese restaurant
Toki Underground is a Japanese-inspired restaurant known for its award-winning family-friendly menu and craft cocktails. The modern, artistic space offers a warm and dimly lit atmosphere with the option to sit in a half-outdoor section. The service is attentive, and the floral lemonade is described as strong, tart, and slightly sweet. Customers praise the crispy, juicy chicken in the curry ramen and as a side order.
Stopped by this restaurant for a bite to eat and had a wonderful experience! Our server was very personable and answered any questions we had about the items on the menu. The atmosphere were great, as well! The food did take a bit of time to prepare, but it was no issue since we were not on a time crunch. It's a nice laid-back place to grab lunch with friends.

We were here for a yelp event, but I saw that they served ramen so we had to order some. It was quite delicious. The egg, which I know is a very important component to many ramen lover's experience, was soft boiled and added that certain creamy richness that it is supposed to provide. The tempura battered shrimp (appetizer) were huge and fresh. I would certainly take my friends here. Be forewarned, the restaurant is in a shady neighborhood. Don't be afraid. It's worth the adventure.

Went to Toki Underground on a not-so-busy Monday night after a holiday weekend and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were recommended to try the buns and loved how they were served as a build your own bun. We then ordered two different types of the ramen (after a longer than normal wait, we asked about our ramen and it seemed like they may have forgotten to input our order and they handled it great and put a rush on our ramens) and when they came out they looked amazing! The Mala Garlic Tonkatsu was VERY flavorful with an almost numbing sensation. The other brothless Dan Dan ramen we ordered was also amazing but was VERY salty and rich. We will definitely be back again to try the other ramens and appetizers on the menu.

I came for the fried chicken boa bun and the elote. The bao bun hit the spot, however the elote is no longer on the menu! Bummer. The curry chicken ramen was pretty good. I wasn’t a fan of the noodle itself but overall the dish was good. I had the fried vegan dumplings, that was good! Atmosphere was lowkey and the staff were attentive. I would come here again! Especially for that fried chicken bao bun!

I work in DC, so I’ve heard of the legendary Toki spot over there. Decided to go here with my friends after the thrift flea market a few blocks down right at opening, and was able to get a walk-in table. From the host, it either sounds like they don’t typically take walk-ins, or they were fully booked on reservations, so keep that in mind. Reason for the one-star is because of our server. He checked in on a party of 6 only once and brought out the wrong appetizer. Now this doesn’t warrant a review at all, but here’s the kicker: after we paid, he ran after us a few blocks down from the restaurant asking if his service was poor due to the lack of tip. Joke is, as a 6-top, we got auto gratuity of 18% on the bill. This wasn’t even an issue as we understood the automatic tip is industry norm, paid, and went our way home. It would’ve taken him 5 seconds of looking at our bill on the Toast POS to see that we tipped. Instead, he sprinted out the restaurant 5 min later and confronted us rather than double check to see if he actually got walked out on. I worked as a KBBQ server for 3 years and know how it feels to not be tipped. I’ve said the same lines said to me and my friends, but never to a table that actually did pay. Either this guy profiled us or wasn’t trained properly. Either way, not coming back and don’t recommend this spot. Try the DC location with the bib gourmand award, if anything. Edit: Just found out we got served by the owner. Nice.

A friend recently inviting me to check out this hidden gem in Baltimore City (Waverly area). INSTANTLY IN LOVE with the entire concept, menu, service and creative cocktails! Definitely adding Toki to my regular restaurant rotation. OLIVIER… IM COMING BACK FOR THAT RAMEN! 🍜

In hindsight, the service here started off a bit cold. My group did not make a reservation, and when we attempted to walk in to be seated we were met with confusion and had to wait several minutes to be seated after the server got approval from another employee (who I presume to be the manager). Upon entry, it was basically empty, and over the hour we were there only a small handful of patrons entered. Point being, it seemed we were initially met with friction when trying to dine here. I ignored it at the time because I figured there might’ve been reservations coming in soon (and this they would’ve had to be mindful of seating availability), but that wasn’t the case. In any case, we were seated, ordered, and received our food with only a few hitches. Overall, the food was decent. One of my friends didn’t receive part of his order, but they removed the cost of the missing component, so all was well. They also charged us for an extra karaage, but I spoke with the server and got it removed. After fixing the mistakes on the check, we paid and left. After we’d made it a block away, the server (who I think is also the manager?) appeared before us slightly out of breath and began questioning whether or not we enjoyed the service. He acknowledged that he hadn’t checked on our table as much, but it was clear he was alluding to the tip. The confusing part is that we did tip 18%. Our party was 6 people, and presumably they have automatic gratuity for parties of a certain size because the tip was included in our bill. The server had chased us a block from the restaurant to press us for information about our tip, when the restaurant’s OWN SYSTEM had automatically charged us for the tip. Surely an employee would know about the automatic gratuity for parties over a certain size, right? But even if not, the check had “18% Gratuity” listed on it. They’d made mistakes on the check and changed it multiple times, but even throughout the process of actively editing the check, they somehow missed that they charged us auto-gratuity. After we told the server that chased us a block away we had in fact tipped, he lingered around us for slightly too long, offered a lukewarm “sorry”, and walked back to the restaurant. I can only chalk this instance up to two possible things, incompetence or profiling. Neither excuses chasing patrons a block to grill them about a tip you did in fact receive (as clearly visible on the bill), but hopefully it is the former and not a case of demographic profiling. The hesitation to let us dine in initially makes me wonder though. No food is worth being harassed and made to feel like a bad person, but especially not the food we received from Toki. It is a shame, because the ambiance inside was quite nice.

Very cool little ramen place. The staff is very friendly and interesting to talk to. The decor is very cool. And of course the food is delicious. Their tonkotsu ramen is pretty unique, with a fresh and light element to it that makes it stand out. It's not a standard ramen that you'd get in Japan, but that's not a bad thing. This restaurant has a lot of options for people with dietary restrictions. The gluten free noodles are very good. The staff is very aware of dietary restrictions, and can answer any questions you might have.

The Ruxton Steakhouse offers a delightful happy hour experience with fully staffed bars ensuring quick service for drinks and food orders. The menu features delectable options like steak salad, charbroiled oysters, frito mixto, and a mouthwatering steak burger at great prices. The butter cake is highly recommended to top off the dining experience. One can also savor the 22oz Dry Aged Cowboy steak cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise.
Absolutely phenomenal experience at The Ruxton in Baltimore, MD! From start to finish, every bite was pure delight. The fried oysters were simply the best I’ve ever tasted—perfectly crispy on the outside and tender, flavorful on the inside. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the 90-day dry-aged cowboy steak, which was cooked to perfection and delivered unmatched flavor—hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. To cap off an already incredible meal, we indulged in every dessert offered on the menu, each one earning a perfect 10/10. The presentation, flavors, and attention to detail were impeccable. Exceptional food combined with excellent service made our evening at The Ruxton unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The Ruxton was a great experience for us. The staff was phenomenal, attentive, and personable. All of the food was well prepared and well executed. The appetizers were a great start. The steaks were spot on. I don't care to eat mac and cheese, but their mac and cheese was outstanding. I would order Mac and cheese every time, even if you just take it home for leftovers. We tried every dessert. You just can't go wrong with any dessert.

If you're looking for a sophisticated dining experience near the harbor in downtown Baltimore, try The Ruxton Strakhouse; you won't be disappointed. Why? The prix fixe lunch and dinner menus offer a variety of excellent choices. Our delightful server, Nicki, paid attention to details and provided information about the menu and The Ruxton Steakhouse, which plans to expand in the Philly and D.C. areas. Chef’s kids for the wedge, Caesar salads, and the salmon and dessert choices we selected. The parking garage attached to The Ruxton utilizes the premium parking app, which is easy to use and does not require a kiosk to pay.

Went here to celebrate a birthday, this is the perfect place to be fake bougie. The restaurant is nice but too loud between the music and other guests talking. The tables are very small!! I ordered shrimp & crab risotto, mac n cheese, & roasted broccoli. The risotto was good, however the mac n cheese was okay & it got cold extremely fast. The broccoli was cooked with bacon which just threw the taste off. My bf ordered the 14 oz NY strip and bacon mac n cheese. The steak was good, the mac n cheese tasted like straight bacon. The server Jada was okay, she only asked us once how was everything. The manager had to signal her to go check on her tables smh. The runners did a great job making sure the dirty dishes were cleared from the table & our drink glasses never got empty. My bf was given a complimentary birthday dessert, it was good but the cake was dry! During dessert the runner did pour water on my hand and our table and didn't acknowledge it nor apologized. This isn't a place I would come back to as I've had better food & service elsewhere.

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at The Ruxton! Our server, Demetrius, was extremely knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and gave us excellent service!! The sliders were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, the Lemon Prawns were delicious, our Cowboy steak was tender and went perfectly with a side of creamy horseradish, the mushrooms were seasoned just right, and the brownie, although quite rich, was a perfect ending to a fabulous meal. We look forward to coming back, and we will definitely recommend The Ruxton to our family, friends and acquaintances!

This location looks amazing but doesn’t taste like it. I was not amazed. Our server was great but the food wasn’t. I ordered a $200 6oz ribeye steak and didn’t even get any juice tender fat on my steak. The Mac & Cheese was was terrible as well. The bread for the table was the one you get at Costco just go there. Finally to end my anniversary with my wife they brought us a celebration cake that tasted really dry and hard

The staff were very kind and the ambiance was really nice. The bread was divine! We had an appetizer the tater tots with caviar; it’s an acquired taste. My best friend she loved it. I had the 8oz red cap. It was very tender and juicy but it was 8oz for $79 I wish I had another 8 to add to that lol. The sides were á la carte, the creamy spinach had breadcrumbs and was really good. The mash potatoes reminded me of thanksgiving but were a lil too smooth if that makes sense. And since it was my birthday I was treated to some salted caramel ice cream it was really good. Jaquan attended us and was very knowledgeable and did his job well

Baltimore Seafood is a casual seafood restaurant that is located on the Baltimore Waterfront Promenade. The restaurant has wooden furniture, dim lighting, and a fishing theme decor inside. The menu features greasy, fresh seafood that is local and sustainable. The restaurant also has a sleek and energetic bar.
The food was wonderful! I've been here before and the taste is still great. The wait time to be seated was insane - 45 mins to an hour. It was a Sunday, I highly recommend making reservations ahead of time, particularly on weekends. The crab boil was a bit saltier than I expected but so good! They provide you gloves and a little bib for the mess. A little bucket is also provided on every genre to toss unwanted peels or seafood. The crab cakes are to die for, and made with real crab. Shrimp PO Boy was tasty and so were the oysters, albeit a bit too salty for me. The waiter was great.

The service was awesome, our server was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. The decor and atmosphere of the place was great as well. The seafood was pretty good but some of the side dishes we got didn’t seem super fresh. They were sort of lukewarm when it came out. The Cajun fries were delightful.

Great Food, Great Vibes — Must-Try Seafood Spot! 🦀🍺 We had an awesome time at Baltimore Seafood! Tried the crab, the legs, the flippers — basically everything, and it was all super fresh and delicious. The big seafood platter for $69 was more than enough for two people — we got to taste all the highlights from the menu and left full and happy. The beer selection was great too — we had a bottled IPA (I think it was made in Baltimore) that paired perfectly with the food. Cold, refreshing, and just the right kick. We came with a group, and the big tables made it very comfortable. Plenty of space to eat, laugh, and watch the game — they had TVs showing sports events, which added to the vibe. The service was quick, the portions were generous, and the overall atmosphere was laid-back but lively. Definitely recommending this spot if you want to enjoy some top-notch seafood and a good time with friends!

Every time I'm in Baltimore, I eat at this place. All my friends and family know how much I love the food. I always get the "Big Catch" with the snow crabs and shrimp (head on), crawfish, add noodles, eggs, potatoes, and corn. I did something a bit different this time and got the "garlic butter" sauce. It was a mistake to get as the "Cajun" and "house special blend" flavors are soooo much better. Yet, the crab broil didn't miss! Don't get it twisted, but I just think the "garlic butter" flavor is the weakest! I don't recommend the "garlic butter" sauce. There! You heard it from me! Also, make sure you come during happy hour. I had a good way back to drive, so I didn't get my old fashioned, instead I got the Rum Punch. It was pretty good, it tasted just like juice. The Cajun fries were a hit! They didn't even need ketchup or any sauce at all. The mozzarella sticks impressed me. They were hot and crispy and the cheese pull was nice and average! So can't complain. Overall, this establishment should know that I'll be back and back and back and back again! Food is pretty darn good! Garlic Butter Sauce 8/10 Cajun Fries 9/10 Rum Punch 8/10 Mozzarella sticks 9/10

Came here with a big group, we ordered a lot of food and it was very reasonably priced. Disposable table clothes and buckets for shells, its meant to be messy! The best app was the oysters cooked in the garlic butter sauce (better than the raw oysters, and I LOVE raw oysters). Crab cakes were also good, and despite being served in a cheap little cardboard to-go bowl, the clam chowder was worth giving a try as well. Garlic butter sauce was top notch, as was the Cajun, but The house special is a mix of all sauces and that's what I'd recommend the most. The shrimp needed to be peeled but there was a ton in the dish, really a nice touch to have on hand when you are working hard shelling the other meats (lot of work for a little meat). Service was eh. We had a good time and I think this is worth stopping by, especially if you have a bigger group and in the mood for seafood.

We’re from California, and the seasoning and quality of the food is top tier! We got the Big Catch (3 pounds of food: 1 pound (maximum) of crabs and 2 pounds of seafood of your choice. We got snow crab and shrimp head on with potatoes and corn for 2. We got the House Special Blend, Mild (1 pepper) and it was not spicy at all! I probably would’ve gotten Spicy (2 peppers). And, it included a dessert of your choice, and we got the deep fried cheesecake. Other than the food, the service was great! Bre was super attentive and nice. We appreciate her. Heads up: waits can be long for walk-in, so make a reservation through OpenTable.

G & M Restaurant is a casual eatery that has gained fame for its generously sized crab cakes, along with a menu featuring seafood, steak, and pasta. The restaurant's jumbo lump crab cakes are particularly praised by Chef Chris Santos' executive assistant, Amy Landsman, who swears by their perfection and lack of breadcrumbs. The staff at G & M are known for going above and beyond to create a memorable dining experience for their guests.
We had an incredible experience at G & M! We started with a half dozen oysters, and they were absolutely fantastic — fresh, briny, and perfectly chilled. The seared scallops were amazing, cooked to perfection with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The risotto was honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time — creamy, flavorful, and something I couldn’t get enough of. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, adding a great balance to the plate. We also tried the single crab cake, and wow… it was huge — about the size of a baseball! The flavor was off the charts, packed with sweet jumbo lump crab meat and perfectly seasoned. The broccoli on the side was slightly undercooked, but honestly, the crab cake stole the show, so it hardly mattered. Our server was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. As a craft beer fan, I was also happy to see they had a few solid choices on tap, which paired really well with the seafood. Overall, G & M delivered a top-notch dining experience. Amazing food, excellent service, and great drinks — I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area!

We were on our way home from an amazing vacation. My husband wanted to stop and get food in Baltimore since some of the best food in Maryland is found in Baltimore. We some how decided on G&M and I am VERY happy we did. Honestly I was a little skeptical due to the decor BUT I was very mistaken. The service was amazing, our waitress Jamie was so sweet and she was on top of her game! My seafood pasta came out with a hair in it and she immediately apologized and had the staff remake it. It was SOOO delicious! My husband is a huge risotto fan so we he saw it on the menu he had to try it and he said it reminded him of his first bowl of risotto! We also ordered calamari and crab dip which were both delicious! I would only say that I think the crab dip would be better on a tortilla chip or something lighter than bread and the calamari would be delicious with a second lighter sauce option. Also the portions were perfect! I was full leaving and had some for lunch the next day! We definitely look forward to coming back and giving the crab cakes a try!

Overall solid choice. There’s free parking, friendly staff, and a nice environment. The food is good but may be considered by some as slightly pricey, but still somewhat reasonable. My wife got the seafood platter, which she enjoyed; my son the baked crab imperial, which he definitely enjoyed. As for me, I had a prime rib sandwich, which was so so. But to be fair, they are better with seafood so I didn’t have high expectations. We finished up with desserts, which were decent.

The crab cakes are moist and tasty! We ordered the avocado salad, delicious! Service was good, food arrived extremely fast, our waitress could have been a little more attentive. They sure know how to serve MD crab! We had the crab bisque (cream of crab) and the crab cakes. Lumps, chunks, so many beautiful white, large pieces of sweet crab!! Just enough filler in the crabcakes to hold them together, the rest was all crab! Great flavors! My daughter had the shrimp & chicken fettuccine Alfredo, it was absolutely perfect! The sauce was so good! The meat and broccoli were plentiful! Shrimp were cleaned and cooked well. Chicken was tender and delicious. In addition to the entrees we had a couple of drinks each and an app; our bill was only $150! Our calamari app was very good and it was a large quantity. We were happy to have it served with traditional marinara. Our service was on point. The place was absolutely hopping. Parking lot was full yet we were greeted and eating almost immediately and checked on repeatedly through our meal. This place is a jewel. It is definitely on our list to return.

Nestled in the heart of Baltimore, Captain James Seafood Palace is a unique dining experience that resembles a merchant vessel anchored at the intersection of Aliceanna and Boston streets since 1978. This charming restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere with its nautical decor and contemporary touches, making it a cozy spot for enjoying breakfast or indulging in steamed shellfish paired with draft beers. For those seeking a more casual vibe, there's also a crab house across the street that serves a simplified menu in an open-air setting.
Great location by the water, ample parking for patrons, good food and good vibes. The snow crabs were delicious. The blue crabs were not meaty but maybe that's how they are supposed to be. This being the first time I tried. The crab cakes was chunky and delicious. The fried rice was flavorful though the deep fried softshell crab could have been a little more flavorful. The service was equally good. We were a family of 10 and we did advanced reservation. Definitely recommend

Ship and nautical themed restaurant serving up your typical seafood options. Food was good, nothing extraordinary. Seemeds like the relaxed family dinner place. Service is a little slow but everyone was nice. Muscles Belgian style were good, Oyster Rockefeller were very good, and then the sampler was good. Highlight from the sampler was definitely the crab, good chunks of meat. Free Parking is available in the lot across the street.

Came here without a reservation so a bit of wait so that's expected. Our server was nice and answered all our questions about the menu. Had high expectations for the fries based off of someone's recommendations but it was underwhelming. Pasta was great though a bit too oily, after finishing my food there was a pool of oil in my bowl still. Turns out we could've parked across the street at the crab house since they were the same business so I ended up paying a pretty penny at a parking lot nearby. The longer we were there at the restaurant, the louder the background noise and people became so thankfully we were almost done.

The main reason we took the drive down to Bmore this past weekend is for one thing - crabs! So after getting a couple of recommendations from the front desk person at our hotel and doing a quick search, we decided to check this place out. And glad to say we were happy we made that choice. We actually ended up eating at the restaurant and not the crab house (set on the water) which, given it a bit warmer than we thought it was going to be, we didn't feel like being outside that day. We were immediately greeted and asked how many crabs we were playing to order. A few months later the host brought us to our tables and our waitress followed up quickly to get us and explain some special things with the menu. She was really great - very friendly, attentive and welcoming. All of the staff members were pretty hospitable. The decor felt like a elevates, modern crab house feel with the wooden tables and chairs, nautical colors, etc. Food wise, we ordered the Calamari and Boston St. Crab Dip for apps; then a half dozen crabs and corn for the entree. It was allllll DELICIOUS! Everything was very fresh, cooked perfectly and seasoned well/tasty. Appreciated the crab dip was a good balance of the mixture/filler and actual crabmeat, plus it being a bread bowl dip made it better in my opinion. Calamari had a nice crispy and, again, more actual pieces of the seafood instead of a bunch of breaded peppers which can sometimes happen at restaurants. Crabs were well seasoned and my boyfriend really enjoyed them - he ate most of the whole crabs himself lol. If you find ourself on Baltimore and longing for some crabs, this is definitely one place that should be on your list to check out.

Little Donna's is a charming restaurant located in Charles Village, known for its famous three-cheese Mac and Cheese that has been satisfying Hopkins students for years. The cozy eatery offers a comforting atmosphere and delicious food, including al dente mac paired with crunchy bread crumbs. Additionally, the restaurant features a chef with Eastern European roots, offering pierogies, pickled dishes, cabbage pancakes, and an array of pies.
Been 4 times and it is always a stunning experience. The lobster pierogis are a must (as are the regular ones). Pizzas are fantastic. Never had a bad bite here and always excited to go back and see what’s new on the menu. The hype is truly deserved!

We had reservations and we're seated right away. Service was friendly. One of the tables next to us had a missing appetizer. So when they brought both of our appetizers out, they gave them our perogies, we had to wait another 15 minutes for the one we ordered. I think everything was delicious, but the perogies were bland. I've had this dish before and it was so good last time. The toppings were fine but the potatoe filling and dough had no flavor. I really like the smoked trout dip. I wish the tavern pie was in the oven an extra minute. Overall we had a nice time. It's worth a visit.

We recommend Little Donna's to any of our friends visiting Baltimore. Can't wait to go back!! When I die, bury me in that ranch dressing.

This is a gem hidden in fells point that anyone looking for a nice dinner in Baltimore city should try. The pirogies were hands down the best I’ve ever had. And the pizza was the best I’ve had in Baltimore. The service staff were great and did a good job making sure we knew exactly what we were ordering. I honestly cant wait to go back.

Amazing - the real deal, the hype is true. Pork schnitzel is amazing and the cheese pepperoni pizza - and of course the lobster pierogies are kind of life-changing 😳🔥 Great margaritas for happy hour!!

Had the best time here! Were able to walk in later on a Friday night. The perogies were AMAZING. I'm still dreaming about them. The large plate chicken was very good and the tavern pie was delicious. Drinks and service were great as well.

Little Donna’s decor feels like you’re stepping back 100 years into someone’s house. It’s like you’re coming over for an exceptional dinner party. The food is insanely good. The lobster pierogi special is out of the world. Save room for dessert because the bread pudding was sublime. I can’t say enough about how awesome Little Donna’s is. They also have Chacha, which I’ve never seen on a non-Georgian menu before. Of course, it’s a small space so reservations are definitely encouraged because even on a Tuesday night they were on about an hour wait. I will be back, I will eat more pierogis, and this is a meal I won’t forget for a long time.

Had a wonderful dinner at Little Donna’s on a quick overnight trip to Baltimore. Our waitress was attentive; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy! We enjoyed the pirogies with sausage and sauerkraut on the side and the Bianco pizza! Be aware that if you want to get into this place you need a reservation. They do reservations for within the next 6 weeks in advance and they go quick, otherwise if you do a walk up it is a 2 hour wait.

Love Pomelo is a new restaurant that has quickly gained popularity for its exceptional food and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and eager to provide recommendations, making the experience feel more like visiting friends than dining out. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, including suppli, pasta dishes, and refreshing cocktails. Visitors have praised the intimate ambiance and attentive service, with many choosing to indulge in multiple courses to fully savor the experience.
Classy romantic gem in Canton from the people who brought us Cafe Dear Leon a few doors down. Excellent bar service and clever and authentic Italian style dishes.

Such a cute and intimate restaurant! My partner and I celebrated our anniversary with fine dining, and the staff were all wonderful. The ambiance, the food, the wine—this place checked all the boxes. They do recommend booking a reservation, especially for the upstairs space as its more intimate, but they do have a bar area on the first floor that may offer walk-in seating. We love Café Dear Leon and were excited to try out this new venture. So glad we did!

Our server took some time to get to us. Food was good but my pasta was a bit hard, my partner’s on the other hand his food was great but his portion and mine were small.appetizer was good too, and so were our drinks. Desert on the other hand was 10/10 I highly recommend the tiramisu and gelato. Good night regardless

My friend and I made a reservation, and we had a great table, a nice server (shout out to Ben). We were not interrupted, service and food was fantastic. I’ll be back. Look at these cool chairs. They were comfortable too!

Impeccable service and ambiance - our waiter was very attentive, and we had multiple waitstaff come to our table to replace cutlery, clean off crumbs, etc. Perfect for a date night. However, the food was just okay (aside from the Amatriciana which was delicious); we felt that there were too many risks taken with some of the recipes like the tuna crudo and the branzino. The portion sizes were small for the price.

**lovely staff and atmosphere but tiny portions I was SUPER excited to try this place, as I absolutely adore Cafe Dear León (which is owned by the same people). My friend raved about the Wednesday pasta deal they tried a few months ago (specifically the truffle pasta), so I wanted to try that. I made a reservation for Wednesday (there were many openings which was nice) on the second floor. When my boyfriend and I came in, we were greeted warmly and led upstairs. The waiters are very attentive and nice! Anytime my water even approached being halfway full, someone would be there to fill it. Since it was dinnertime, the lighting was dim and romantic. The decor is simple but elevated, and the seats are comfortable. Now onto the bad...I was very disappointed in the pasta. The Wednesday deal seems amazing as it's only $20, but the portion was unbelievably small. I'd understand if it was designed to be an appetizer or a part of multiple courses, but this was not mentioned while we were ordering. The menu changed from when my friend went, so the truffle pasta was not available. I decided to try a crab and tomato pasta (I forget the exact name). They were generous on the crab (yay!), but I got such a small amount of pasta noodles that I felt the ratio was off. Taste can be subjective, but I think the tomato pairing didn't go well with the crab. My boyfriend got a classic carbonara, which he said was overly salty (I tasted it and I agree). And he's Italian, so he's eaten many plates of carbonara in his life! The pastas did taste freshly-made and so did the other ingredients. I'm not doubtful of the quality, just the portion size. We both left hungry. Overall, I think this was an ok experience. Major pros are the friendly and attentive staff, and the warm, welcoming decor. I would consider coming back and trying their regular menu, since that could be a different story compared to the Wednesday pasta menu. I think that the deal is meant to attract customers in hopes that they will order more, which is fine! But then, please make it clear to the customers that the portions are small and that you recommend ordering multiple dishes.

I’m a big fan of Cafe Dear Leon, so I had very high hopes for Love Pomelo and am happy to say I was blown away! We went opening night and were able to get seated at the bar fairly quickly. All the staff were super friendly and excited to share their drink and food recommendations. We sampled the supplì (think of a mozzarella stick covered with risotto and fried) and both the pasta dishes and thoroughly enjoyed everything. We ordered two different spritzes (both incredible) and sampled some red wine as well. So happy to have a quality neighborhood Italian spot - I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Love, Pomelo is so good! We celebrated our 10th anniversary dinner here and it made for an excellent dinner out. We had our five year-old with us and the staff made us all feel very welcomed. The food and cocktails were top-notch as well. Can’t wait to come back soon!
