Going for a walk early in the morning feels refreshing and leisurely. The display boards might be more visible if it were a bit darker… but I still prefer the time when daylight is just beginning to break. Even in the early morning, there are a variety of food options like hot dogs and corn dogs.

Times Square is one of those places you have to experience at least once. The lights, energy, and atmosphere are incredible, especially at night. It does get very crowded, particularly on theater nights, but that’s part of the excitement. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options all around. A true New York City landmark!

We finally visited the iconic Times Square and whatever I had heard before about this is not an exaggeration. The vibe, atmosphere and the electronic billboards make this place a very happening one. Lots of shops and eateries near this place. A great crowd every time you visit. But at night after sunset this place becomes more awesome. Must visit and multiple visits are my recommendation.

I love and hate this area at the same time but mostly I love it because the shows are nearby and you can get reduced prices if you wait online and so many food, places and historical places and even the US armed horses recruiting services center and you should definitely walk this area and not drive because you will be stuck in traffic During the day. Central Park in the Fall — Absolutely Magical! Visiting Central Park in autumn was better than I ever imagined. The colors, the crisp air, the skyline peeking through the trees — it felt straight out of a movie, only real. The park is wonderfully kid-friendly and dog-friendly, full of families, friendly faces, and space to explore. From the winding paths to the shimmering ponds and quiet lakes, every corner is breathtaking. The city views are stunning, and everyone we met was kind and welcoming. Truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve ever experienced.

After the watching the 'Stranger Things: The First Shadow' Broadway show at the Marquis Theatre on W46th St & 7th Ave, we walked the 0.7 miles up 7th Ave to the Central Park entrance at W59th St where I had my first NYC Hotdog from the Nathan's Hotdog stand. It was very tasty if a tad small for $6. We only walked in a very small section of the vast 843 acres, 2.5 miles long and 0.5 miles wide park, from the W59th St & 7Ave entrance to the Model Sailing Boat Lake and could have spent several days explore the different sections of this vast beautiful space, which is enjoyed daily by some many local New Yorkers and tourists. There were lots of people relaxing on the grass, walking, jogging, running, cycling & rollerblading through the park, together with rickshaws and horse drawn carriages carrying their passengers on the one directional circular road running around inside the park. We stopped off at the Le Pain Quotidien kiosk next to the Model Boating Lake for hot drinks & pastries at one of the tables, enjoying the late evening sunshine whilst watching people going by and children sailing their rented remote controlled model boats in the lake. There are public male & female toilets either side of the kiosk and a table service section for a selection of food & drinks. It wasn't too busy when we were there around 6pm on a Saturday evening and it was the perfect place to sit down, take a break, relax and watch the world go by in Central Park whilst enjoying a drink. We were fortunate to be there to listen to the famous Central Park guitar man, David Ippolito, playing some beautiful guitar music from across the boating lake opposite our table, in his regular Saturday slot. On our walk to the Model Boating Lake we passed the 1,800 seat open air Delacorte amphitheater inside the park, where free public shows of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' were being performed. My wife is a big fan of Shakespeare's plays and would have loved to have gone to see the play. However, as the vast majority of tickets were allocated via lottery to NYC residents we would have had to queue up in person in a standby line outside the theatre on the day, in the hope of getting one of these few ticket allocations and I didn't like Shakespeare enough to do that. As it was such beautiful warm late summer we decided to walk the 2.2 miles down Lexington Ave, from the park at 74th St down to our hotel at 36th St. Although it took a lot longer than taking the subway we really enjoyed seeing more of the city on foot.

I had never seen such a huge park in the city area. Spread across 800+ acres, this park has a lot of beautiful places to visit. We went to Bethesda terrace as our first spot here and it’s really worth visiting. Great spots to visit, sit, relax, run and click pictures. Loved the bow bridge. Must visit and highly recommended.

STAY AWAY! As far away as possible! While the view from our room was admittedly stunning, that's where the positives end entirely. From the moment we arrived, the experience was appalling. The staff was cold and unwelcoming—no warmth, no hospitality, just indifference. Within minutes of walking in to my room, I stepped on glass. Rather than rushing to help or showing any concern, the staff did absolutely nothing about it. This set the tone for our entire stay. We requested turndown service (i.e. to clean the glass), which was never provided. We were then outright lied to by staff about the restaurant's menu availability—we planned our evening around having access to the full menu, only to find out they'd serve only a limited selection. The spa, which was part of why we chose this hotel, was completely closed during our stay. No advance notice, no alternatives offered, nothing. Saturday night was supposed to feature a rooftop party, which was one of the highlights we'd been anticipating. They randomly decided to close the rooftop that evening—the weather was perfectly fine, so there was no legitimate reason. Just another promise broken and another disappointment. The pool experience was equally disastrous. Every single food and drink order was messed up. It took literal hours to finally get what we actually ordered. It genuinely felt like it was everyone's first day on the job. How does a luxury hotel operate with such a poorly trained staff? At checkout, we spoke with Alex, the manager, who made multiple promises about adjustments to our bill and other compensation to make things right and encourage us to give the hotel another chance. Not a single promise was kept. We never received any compensation whatsoever, despite spending an exorbitant amount—truly an arm and a leg—for what turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. For the premium price point of this property, the service, honesty, and basic safety standards should be impeccable. Instead, we got dishonesty, negligence, and broken promises from management. Save your money and book literally anywhere else. The view simply isn't worth it.

Completely unprofessional, insensitive and unacceptable behavior from a place that calls itself a “hospitality” business. ALL of the front desk, security employees & management that worked Saturday Oct 18, 2025 especially “manager” Mercedes, ruined what was supposed to be one of the most special nights of my life. I had just gotten engaged and only a few hours later around 8:30 PM, after spending thousands on a celebration, a few family members helped my fiancé and I bring gifts up to our room. Not even 10 minutes later, Mercedes came to our door claiming there was a “noise complaint” and said that because “other guests paid a lot of money to be here” she needed to call security and have us removed. One of their employees made a 70 year old woman in our family cry, and instead of showing any empathy, another employee LAUGHED at her for crying. Moments later, they forced all of us to vacate immediately or they would call the police, for absolutely no valid reason. We asked to speak to the general manager several times and refused to come speak with us and would not show any security footage for things they were claiming happened that NEVER did. The disrespect and lack of compassion shown that night was unreal. The staff made us feel humiliated and completely dismissed as if the money we spent and the reason we were there didn’t matter at all. This hotel clearly only cares about select guests and has zero understanding of what true hospitality means. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re celebrating something important. Shame on you all.

My wife and I stayed here twice once for our anniversary . The view near the Brooklyn Bridge and the new york skyline is great. The first time a bottle of wine was waiting for us when we returned from the rooftop pool. This rooftop has a bar that visitors not only guest of the hotel can enjoy. The pool area is for guest and we enjoyed it both times .the second time we were surprised with a bowl of fruit .the decor is really nice and comfortable with a indoor waterfall and the smell is a unique blend created and sold in the gift store in the lobby. In the rooms there is the same fragrance in the lotion and body wash and shampoo. We were also given a complimentary glass of wine In which we enjoyed outside in one of the restaurants on the first floor. One of the times I mistakenly broke a wine glass and brought it downstairs expecting to be charge but they were nice about it .

We stayed at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge for our wedding, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Every detail — from the stunning views to the thoughtful touches in our room — made our stay unforgettable. The hospitality was truly top-tier, and the entire team made our wedding weekend feel extra special. We can’t thank them enough for making such an important moment in our lives even more memorable.

It's beautiful, it smells good, it's well located. Its natural, organic feel, with its distinctive scent, is interesting. I just think the accommodations are a little below standard. It could be more luxurious given what the hotel has to offer. It's very simple, with simple decor, in a minimalist style. But the beds are comfortable. The view from my room was of the Statue of Liberty in the distance. But the view from the terrace and the pool is fascinating. It's worth every second spent admiring it from there! It looks like a painting. The location is sensational, in one of the hottest spots in NY. You go downstairs and find bars, restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, tours... everything is easy to get to for sightseeing around the city streets.

The rooftop has stunning views and a great atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, though drinks were average and overpriced. Service was excellent, and the DJ starting at 6 sets a lively party vibe. It’s a fun spot, especially for those who come for the view and energy.

The Lowell has a collaborative arrangement with CHRISTIAN DIOR. In other words where class meets elegance. It was a birthday celebration and it could not have been a better surprise or gift. The Lowell is a special gift to NYC. With all the hustle and bustle going on outside, one can easily escape the urban roar by taking just a few steps into the Lowell where you are greeted with charm and grace. It was simply Wonderful.

Can not align with any of the positive reviews. While the bath rooms were clean, same can not be said about the bed room. A simple swipe over the books on the bed side tables would expose and amount of dust that is simply unacceptable. Mattresses are overly worn. TV/Media System outdated to a degree, it makes you feel like staying at a 2* hotel. On another occasion our Whole Foods groceries (mostly full water bottles) were apparently mistakenly deemed trash and removed. In room dining was above and beyond disappointing. On a positive note - the front desk staff was amazing and so was the concierge. Expressed my concerns directly to Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts, was promised to receive an E-Mail by Patricia, the manager, to address concerns and have never received anything. Overall a disappointing experience, especially with so many wonderful alternatives in the city.

My wife and I visited The Lowell Hotel in Upper East Manhattan to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary, and the Lily of the Valley Afternoon Tea, a collaboration between The Lowell and Dior Maison by the Majorelle team, was truly unforgettable. We’ve experienced several popular afternoon teas in the city, but this one stood out in every way. The presentation, food, and tea were all exquisite, and the floral arrangements were absolutely stunning—fitting, since my wife is a florist and a longtime admirer of Dior. What truly set this experience apart was the hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and cared for. Jessica, the hostess, went above and beyond by graciously accommodating a last-minute change to our reservation and later stopping by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We had a lovely chat with her about how genuine hospitality can elevate an experience, and this afternoon was the perfect example of that. Fabio, our server, was also wonderful—attentive, kind, and professional throughout. Everything was perfect from start to finish. It was elegant, intimate, and deeply memorable—an afternoon that beautifully blended art, floristry, and timeless luxury. I’m so glad we chose to celebrate here.

LILY OF THE VALLEY REVIEW ONLY. Came here Saturday for their Lily of the Valley Afternoon Tea in collaboration with Dior Maison. We got seated in the enclosed outdoor patio—cute decor but the area was a bit narrow and we felt a bit squished. Some chairs had a Christian Dior pillow but not all. Not really any “Dior” decor overall. My friends and I got the “Lily of the Valley” package—presentation was cute. The savory items were decent and there sweet pastries were okay. The Green Tea Nuit a Versailles was pretty good! For extra charge, they offered a selection of cake and cookies (Dior Bar Jacket cookies, Pink Cake, Madeleines)—the overall look for these items was disappointing, poorly decorated. However, service here was excellent, A+. Staff were quite friendly and helpful.

DJ Mariko was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish! She was super organized, detail-oriented, and always quick to respond during the planning process, which made things so easy for us. On the wedding day, she kept everything running smoothly as our MC — all the transitions felt effortless and stress-free. Once the dancing started, she read the room perfectly and kept the energy high the entire night. Our guests had an amazing time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. We’d happily recommend her to anyone looking to bring great vibes to their wedding!

Hotel has a great vibe and the staff were excellent - helpful, nice and the right amount of attentive. Restaurant and bar were both top notch - excellent food, cocktails and service + the views from Bar Blondeau were amazing. Room was a good size with fairly basic amenities but overall in very good condition with a cool design aesthetic that matched the distinct character of the beautiful building. Only drawback to the room was the polished concrete floor which was quite cold to walk on - would be nice to have a rug in the room or slippers as an amenity. Also we were on the 7th floor and could easily hear the guests walking in the room (loft) above as well as any time they moved a chair in the room…which seemed to be often and early in the morning. Other than that it was a very nice experience overall and I would happily stay again.

The good: The Wythe hotel is such a beautiful hotel with so much charm. The staff are absolutely lovely. Their restaurant serves great food. I have had their brunch and dinner and it never disappoints. The views are stunning from the Manhattan view king. And the Brooklyn terrace room is super cute with so much rustic charm I absolutely loved it. I’m giving this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because unfortunately you can hear everything that’s going on in the hallways and outside of the building. The bad: This area can be very, very loud. There is an event space right next door that sometimes plays music until 1am or 2am. I stayed here on a Friday and Saturday for my wedding which was on (Saturday). Unfortunately, I did not get any sleep on Friday night (night before the wedding) because of how loud the music was at the event space next door. It sounded like my room was in the club itself. The Wythe charges too much money to allow this kind of noise to filter into their rooms. I hope that in the future they can come to an arrangement with the place next door. There are many rooftops in nyc that are not allowed to play loud music this late into the evening. The noise from inside the hotel should also not be heard in rooms this expensive either. I had 2 other rooms booked in this hotel and no matter what floor the guests were in or what side of hotel they were in they all complained that they felt like they themselves were in the club. Overall would I give this hotel another chance? Yes, absolutely. It seems like the noise level doesn’t happen every single night. Even though my coordinator also heard through word of mouth that the area there can be extremely loud. I hope I have better luck next time with the noise level.

We stayed in a City View King for a wedding that was onsite. I will say, the ceremony and reception venues were a 10/10 - it was stunning. The best part about the room was the view, but would I spend the money to have it again given what the rooms didn’t offer? I would not. While the robes are nice and the industrial aesthetic is coo, the rooms really need to have some basic items you’d expect from a 5 star hotel like a coffee maker, iron/steamer, and housekeeping…. Possibly even turn-down service and valet service to local garage but that wasn’t expected four out stay and may be asking a bit too much. We had to order coffee from room service and mid-day it took over 40 minutes to get. We also had to order coffee in the morning too…. For a 5 star hotel with a stocked fridge and mini bar the takes up the entire counter space, there is plenty of space to provide a coffee maker. We left in the morning and put the service magnet on our door but upon return hours later, our room was still in need of housekeeping and fresh towels. An hour or so later, we thought housekeeping had arrived so we went downstairs to buy another coffee only to return to our room in the same condition and still in need of towels. Apparently it was the mini bar guys who came to the door. After being told I needed to put the magnet in the door for housekeeping, which I did, I ultimately made our own bed and had some fresh towels delivered so we could get ready for the wedding. This hotel could be a destination on its own without it being an event destination if it put a little bit more effort into service and less effort into its mini bar.

We love this hotel! From the moment they open the doors for you, you are greeted with friendly smiles, service and willing to help us with any of our needs. Such as searching out a restaurant, nail salon, fastest route to Times Square, etc. Our room was modern, comfortable and a spectacular Manhattan view. I would also highly recommend both of their restaurants, one has Manhattan view, atmosphere and great bites, the other serves an exceptional breakfast. We unfortunately missed dining there.

The staff from check in to check out were amazing and kind. The food is first class. Again I can’t say enough about how kind and helpful the staff were. A pleasure. The hotel is so well done. A 6 really. 5 is not enough!

We just returned from a 4 night stay at The Wythe. The room was great, the restaurant and bar on site were fabulous and the service was fantastic. The location was ideal. The only small critiques I would make: illuminate the elevator floor numbers more and provide a dresser or chest in the room for unpacking non hanging clothing.

We had a lovely afternoon enjoying tea at The Palm Court located in The Plaza Hotel. The service was impeccable. One person in our party had some food allergies and the chef came out to talk with her. He made delicious alternative for her. The finger sandwiches, pastries and teas were delicious.It was an exceptionally experience. You must go at least one. Enjoy your visit.

We had the most awful experience here. When you go somewhere like this, paying prices like $36 - $38 for a turkey club, you expect good service and the fries that are served hot. The hotel included a service charge of 18% - we would have left nothing the service was so bad. Absolutely abysmal service. Firstly we asked the server if we could put our coats somewhere. He looked at us and said - "you can put it on the chair next to you", w. We had wine and water, when the water arrived there was only one glass which was slammed down on the table, water splashing everywhere. We had dietary concerns and when asked what could be altered to be gluten free the server looked at us and said "whatever" and was very dismissive. When the food arrived it was cold and the wine wasn't fresh. The only saving grace was because we had our jackets we were able to make a quick exit. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Rooms are nice but missing some amenities you would expect such as no coffee maker in the room. Phones not easy to use. No turn down service... Service was very attentive but slow to respond. Location is very convenient for shopping...8 Place is the place to be seen but not truly elegant but is opulent

The staff and the hotel are superb! The staff are so helpful. Jose and Erica were the two that stood out to me. We did the Home Alone 2 experience. Wow. It included a 4 hour limo ride to all the hot spots, and our driver Mike was so kind he let us pick where we wanted to go. It came with a hot cheese pizza and a cooler full of Coke a cola and water. Then you get 19 scoops of ice cream with all of the toppings. Served through room service. Also got a teddy bear with a balloon and two turtle dove ornaments like in the movie. They always have real flowers. They told me they change them out every Thursday. The shower has wonderful water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Our room has a terrace. I really enjoyed being out there listening to the water fountain. There are 2 chaise loungers to sit on. The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. It is expensive but I feel it was worth every penny .

Fantastic five-star historic hotel at Grand Army Plaza NYC. Incredible atmosphere, impeccable service and accomodations. Celebrating my wife's birthday, they took care of us and treated us like true royalty.

We hosted our most recent Workshop at The William Vale, and we honestly could not have picked a better venue. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. Zach helped us get started with pricing and availability, and from there, Myya handled our arrangements and payments flawlessly. Kiara took care of all our bookings, including the many changes we had to make, and did it effortlessly with a smile! Madeline was on point with food and beverage setup. She helped us pick the perfect menu for our meetings as well as our Rooftop welcome reception at Westlight. The food was perfect and the presentation was even better. Chris from operations made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. From start to finish the entire team was amazing! They respected our budget, worked with us on every detail, and delivered a level of service that was professional, accommodating, and thoughtful. I can't say enough great things about the entire team. If you’re planning an event in Brooklyn, The William Vale should be first on your list. It is an amazing place filled with amazing people!

Just had our wedding here and everything was absolutely wonderful! Major shout out to Victoria and the whole staff for making our stay and experience 10/10. Everything went off without a hitch and they made us feel like they were actually excited and happy to host us. Rooms are great, food is amazing and the views are unreal.

Our stay here was spectacular!! The room has an amazing balcony view that was just as beautiful as the view we had at the rooftop bar. The bed was soft and delicious. The soap shampoo and conditioner is the last thing I thought I'd care about, but they smelled sooo amazing! The staff was very nice. I can't wait to come back. It was expensive but definitely worth the price.

Jut recently stayed here for my wedding weekend with my bridal party and parents. The beautiful views from the rooms at this hotel cannot be beat, but the service does not match up. Front desk staff gave us a room key to a room that was already occupied by other guests. And then they did the same to my parents an hour later! Completely disorganized and not communicative. Bridal setups were not delivered as promised, and some of the valet workers were very rude. Be prepared to wait an hour to get your car from the valet during prime times. Obviously we’re happy we got photos on the balcony with the views, but for the price, you’re not getting the service you’d expect.

Our staycation in this 5-star hotel suite was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. It was definitely not worth the price or the 5-star rating. We arrived on a regular Sunday night as a family of three. Our corner suite was in terrible condition. Everything was cheaply made and selected. The blackout shades were broken, and the coffee stand was damaged. The hair dryer looked like it had been through a war. It’s hard to believe this hotel is 5 stars. There were only four elevators in total, and one of them was broken. The hotel decided to leave ALL the guests with ONE elevator, leaving the other two for their restaurant and bar on the top floor. As a result, guests had to wait 10 minutes or more to get on an elevator, and some didn’t even get in because it was always full. It was an absolute nightmare. The noise problems were also a major issue. We were on the 20th floor, and we could hear loud EDM music blasting from outside from 5 PM to 10 PM, non-stop. The only positive thing about the suite was the view. But that’s about it. If you’re looking for a great staycation experience, stay away from this hotel. Don’t be fooled by the photos and the Le Labo soaps.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It’s honestly more like a 4 star hotel than a 5 star. But it’s priced like a 5 star. But the 4.3 star rating tells you everything you need to know, a real 5 star hotel would never go so low. I’ve stayed here probably 10+ times in the last few years, because I like the location between brooklyn and Manhattan. Also the views from the rooms of the Manhattan skylight are stunning. But as far as the service, I’ve been calling the front desk all weekend and it rings, no one answers, and it actually goes to voicemail! Trust me if I went downstairs to tell them, I’d probably get an arrogant half apology. The concierge and room service don’t answer either, and when calling the main number there’s no clear way to call and reach them either. That alone is probably why you shouldn’t come expecting 5 star treatment. I’ll definitely be looking to switch hotels next trip. Especially at $600-700/night for a basic room. I also have a shower door that has a gap so the floors get all wet. Told the front desk several times, no one did anything, no one got back to me. I called last night to tell the front desk to have house keeping change my linens and sheets. He said no problem, and today when housing keeping came they said no one gave them instructions to do so. Pretty much after a while you just feel less than, like they’re doing you a favor here. Honestly find somewhere better for the price. I’ve also tried to be accommodated for dinner or drinks at Westlight at the roof, via the concierge, but they can’t or won’t do anything so no priority there. And every time I check into the hotel, no one notices that I’m a regular. I mentioned hey I’ve stayed here 10+ times in the last few years whenever I visit nyc. You’d imagine any hotel would have a notice on the screen and to show some gratitude or recognition. Nope. I’ll take my continued business elsewhere. I’ve also had some very rude past experiences with the manager lady, not sure her name, don’t see her this trip, but I did about 6 months ago. She was horrifying and truly disrespectful. I rarely leave anything but 5 stars, but I had to be honest here.

The highlight of my weekend was my stay at The William Vale. From start to finish, the service was impeccable—every request and question was met with genuine care and prompt attention. Thank you to all the staff (I even asked for names but forgot 🙃) who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Between the warm hospitality, the comfortable rooms, the delicious room service, the refreshing pool, and the stunning views, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

After a slight hiccup regarding my room upon arrival, I was connected with Lea, the Guest Experience Manager. Lea went above and beyond to rectify the issue and make my stay so special. She - and other staff like her - are what make the Carlyle so special. While there are many newer hotels in the area, nothing compares to the Carlyle's old school charm. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are well appointed and comfortable. The Gallery is one of my favorite places to dine in the city - the service is impeccable, and the food is simple, but perfect. I am looking forward to my next visit!

There are a few cons, bathroom was small, and I had a leaky shower, but in my friend's room, everything was everything was great. So some rooms have some problems, overall, IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Beautiful, elegant rooms. Thoughtful staff. Great location next to the park. We enjoyed both our 1br suite (which was quite spacious) and the premium king room. Large hotels for NYC. Nice location for sightseeing in central park with a child. Only downside was the view from the 8th floor, it was underwhelming. I had thought our class of room would get us a higher floor but was mistaken. Next time we'll call to make the reservation and carefully check which floors are available for our room class.

During the night I asked for an extra pillow for my pregnant wife. It took almost an hour and 3 different calls to the front desk to get it up to my room. Not acceptable service for $1,600 a night. As a compensation they offered me nothing. Your money is best spent elsewhere.

I have stayed in suites here in the past and had a fabulous experience. I stayed in a standard room this time and was disappointed. The room is so shockingly small, especially the bathroom, that it’s difficult to maneuver yourself even as one person. The bathroom is comparable to an airplane lavatory. Rooms this small should not be sold for $2k/night. If you stay here, don’t do any less than a suite.

I am a Rosewood enthusiast. It’s one of my preferred brands worldwide. I’ve stayed at many Rosewood properties in many different counties. I always admired the consistency of the brand in regards to service and experience. Unfortunately, this beautiful, historic property may be the carve out. The service is mediocre at best but truthfully falls far below. Very disappointing experience and honestly, it’s changed my enthusiasm on the brand as a whole.

Not even close to a 5 star experience. No umbrellas available when it rained, screws on the floor when we entered our room, lip stick on my glass for breakfast, no wipes to clean gym equipment. Zero things to make the hotel feel like it stands out. Cool localization and Bruce at the bar was great but incredibly disappointing for the price.

We keep coming back! This was our 4th or 5th stay at the Crosby and it does not disappoint! Very welcoming every time! We were lucky enough to be greeted and helped with luggage by Drew- he's always got a smile on his face!! It was my birthday this last trip and the assistant manager was kind enough to have fresh flowers and cupcakes awaiting our arrival! Everything in this hotel AND restaurant are amazing! The restaurant and bar are always busy and for good reason, the food is great and the vibe is outstanding! We have tried both sides of the hotel and I do suggest the LaFayette side versus the Crosby side if you are a sensitive sleeper. I heard more traffic this time on the Crosby side. It's the first time we have ever heard traffic, so maybe that is not usually an issue. Great gym and we love the cozy garden and lounge area for afternoon snacks! The rooms always smell amazing and the housekeeping staff are wonderful! Looking forward to our return soon!

I’m in NYC mostly monthly for work and I’ve had a favorite hotel for a while (that is also 5 stars and a classic)…. That was before I stayed at The Crosby Hotel this week. Everything was phenomenal. At most hotels, there is usually something that isn’t 100%, but not a big deal so you just ignore it (like less favorite room service or something), this is not the case with The Crosby. The room service menu and service itself is AMAZING, from the presentation (I’m obsessed with their China pattern and the silver cloches are even above the norm) to the food itself. It’s genuinely fresh, delicious food and arrive swiftly. The housekeeping team is perfection. The overall team, from check in to just those holding the door for you as you enter or depart, all phenomenal. The room feels as if you are at home. It’s cozy, comfortable, and decorated to perfection. The shower pressure is amazing, but even the small details (heated towel rack) put it above the others. The storage in the closet (which includes great shelving) + the actual dressers in the room make unpacking an ease. I’ve definitely found my new preferred hotel when I have events at a particular venue close by. Possibly even if it’s across town, as it would be worth the extra commute. I’m excited to try their other properties in other cities as well. I also love that they still have glass bottle diet cokes 😉 it’s the little things.

As always, this has to be one of the most stylish and welcoming hotels in NYC….always sad when the stay has to end ! Such consistency in staffing and warm welcomes from Lobby, Reception, Crosby Bar and Room staff…. nothing is too much

Swanky hotel with a very tech forward set up. The lobby is great and the service was excellent. Rooms are very small but comfortable. The iPad control and connectivity is great but half of the wall switches for the room no longer worked. Biggest gripe… the elevator is a nightmare. Be prepared to wait as it’s in some sort of weird service mode. Good location easy access to midtown and the 1 train. Seamless check in and check out process.

Amazing location, close to Times Square, the Broadway Theaters and Central Park. Beautiful lobby with great coffee, great service! The rooms were very nice as well. The rooftop bar was beautiful and a great way to end our day! The only issue was the speed of the elevators, but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend!

This was my second time staying at a CitizenM and I’ve really liked it both times! Very clean, futuristic, and comfortable. The iPad in the room and shower is very cool. Definitely best though for solo travelers or very close pairs as the room doesn’t offer a lot of privacy.

A bit pricey for me and a few issues with the elevator during my stay, but otherwise perfect. Room is small, but Im one person. The adjustability of the blinds and lighting was pretty cool. Everything was modern and very clean. Also the first hotel Ive stayed in that actually provided hand soap and not just hand lotion, as well as a little mini fridge opposed to a “mini-bar” with $$ drinks in them. I also liked the self check-in/out and the view.

This hotel was just the absolute perfect location. Near everything. Very welcoming, the vibe was so cool. All the staff from front desk to the servers at the bar were so nice and friendly. Drinks at the bar were made very well. Loved the room. Perfect for solo travelers like myself. Also good for couples. The bed was huge and so, so comfortable! Perfect after a long day of walking! Loved the tech in the room with the iPad to change the color of the lights, set the mood, the AC and the TV channel options were great. The shower was amazing! The water pressure, the heat, rain shower, it was lovely. The only thing I have a complaint about was that the shower curtain had a little bit of a funky smell. Not overpowering but noticeable. Other than that, I would highly recommend and I plan to rebook in the near future when I come back.

Had a great stay here while visiting in Feb 2024. The location was absolutely perfect. The hotel itself is modern, cool and nicely designed. The staff really make this place! Particularly the restaurant and bar staff. I'd go back here in a heartbeat. The room was comfortable (albeit tiny bit small and luggage didn't fit inside the drawer).

The 1 star is regarding Marriott. If you are a Bonvoy customer, beware of staying here. Their IT issues delayed the integration so you will not be awarded nights at this property. So if you are looking for loyalty to the Marriott brand, make another hotel choice. The staff, rooms, and food here are lovely.

The Soho Grand Hotel is such a beautiful place with a classic, old-fashioned style theme. The diner was also nice, and the food was delicious. I love that the diner is quiet and you can stay in there for a while to do some work. I loved the wall of photos of famous people from old movies, which gave the hotel so much character. You will also find old fashion phones, lamps, curtains, and things like that around the hotel. The conference room was spacious and well-kept, It was perfect for a meeting and gathering I had. The staff were also very nice and friendly. The rooms were elegant, and are a nice size. I been to a lot or hotel stay and this one is my new favorite hotel to stay in the city. Also, it is pricey per night but you will get good service and nice room.

We had a lovely stay here! The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Special shout out to the bellmen in general and to Kiialoni in particular for making the hotel feel like home during our stay. They made all the difference. And to the housekeeping staff- awesome job. Can't wait to return!

Location is outstanding and there are very few hotels in the area, so it really is hard to beat if you wanna be right in the mix of things in Soho. BUT prepare for major concessions. The service is absolutely terrible, food and drink is so so, and the whole hotel is very dark and gloomy with some very odd decor choices that just throw everything off and make the overal theme look a bit cheap. We started off in the basic king (which is surprisingly spacious for a NYC hotel room and had a decent view but no curtains to block out the light 🌅). and then moved up to the penthouse (Lofts) for 2 days (the service was no better in the Penthouse despite that our family was hosting a wedding in the hotel and spending quite a lot of money). If you order anything to the room expect it to take at least 2 hours or expect it will never come at all. The bathrooms, like all of the hotel's main areas are exceptionally dark and it's hard to acclimate to it (forget trying to do your makeup and hair you simply can't see). The second bedroom in the penthouse is very poorly laid out with little space to put your things and no privacy when going to the bathroom because it is detached. The lofts did have blackout shades in the bedrooms which was really nice because the sun and city lights does make the bedroom the brightest place to be. The views from the lofts are really fabulous. None of us could sit and enjoy them because the sprinklers go off everyday and soak the furniture outside. The rooms are very noisy so bring earplugs, you can hear the traffic noise very clearly all night - even on the top floor. I'm not sure if you can hear the nightclub on the second floor. But I imagine if you are on the 3rd or 4th floor or on a Friday or Saturday you probably can... So bare that in mind if you are looking for rest. All in all I wouldn't choose to stay in this hotel other than for location. The pricetag doesn't match the quality of the hotel or the service.

Had the most fantastic stay of one week. We were very well looked after by everyone and the cocktail bar rose to the occasion of making a delicious White Lady for me on several times. We also enjoyed out returns back to base with the ever friendly door openers down on street level who always greeted us with a smile and help should we need it. Thank you everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. Only issue we had is why does the traffic to need blow their horns all through the day and night! Ear plugs a good tip for NY I’d suggest sadly.

Stayed here on a Monday night in June. Had a room with one queen bed, covered by a company I was interviewing with on Tuesday. Was able to leave my luggage with the doorman Tuesday morning after checking out. The check-in desk is on the second floor and it was a bit annoying to get there with luggage when I got to the hotel Monday evening. There was some work going on, on my floor outside my room, so definitely wasn't a fully quiet evening. They have a gym so I was able to get an indoor ride workout between two full days of interviews. The staff were nice but I would say, not as much as some of the other hotels I stayed at during my trip to NYC, Chicago, Miami. I really liked the antique decor of the work-desk inside my room. No good views from my room (photo included with review).

SoHo Grand Hotel is a very great place to be. The atmosphere is awesome the staff as well as the receptionist is very professional. The best time to go is Thursday through Sunday. Most importantly show some love to security meaning(A TIP DON'T BE CHEAP) Best, Juju,

The room was filthy. It seemed like the hotel had just made the bed rather than actually cleaning anything after the last guest left. We asked for a new room and the front desk accommodated us after an hour wait, but the second room had a weird ring around the toilet. At this price you should be able to expect clean rooms.

We stayed at the Lowe's forva long weekend to attend a wedding. The whole experience was the best hotel experience we have ever had. Checking was quick and easy. The whole process from dropping g of the car to entering our room was less than 10 minutes. One tip is to use the app to check in it really helps. Everyone of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The hotel location is convenient for a walk in central park. We will definitely go back!

We were traveling with our dog and were warmly welcomed. The friendly and professional staff and attention to detail made this a fantastic stay. Lobby and restaurant are modern and bright. Rooms seem a tad dated but are large and comfortable. Hotel is meticulously clean. Location is remarkably quiet and convenient to Central Park, museums, Broadway and other key sites. A great experience!

Had a great experience this last weekend at Loews Regency. Check in was for Sunday afternoon but when we landed at 5:20am Sunday morning at JFK I called to see if we could drop off our bags and they said they would try to get our room ready which sounded amazing after a long flight. Arrived at 6:15am at the hotel and the gentleman at the front desk greeted me by name and had my room keys ready 🤯🤯. Talk about service! I know we would have early check in with the American Express membership but they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food at the hotel restaurant was great and everyone we encountered offered exceptional service. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the big apple!

Every time I’m in the city, the Loews Regency is my go-to stay, and somehow it just keeps getting better. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between chic and comfortable, making it feel like a home I secretly wish I lived in full-time. The food is consistently incredible, and the drinks are always crafted with the kind of care that makes you want to linger just a little longer before heading out for the night. Honestly though the staff is one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. They are so warm, friendly, and attentive that they make every stay feel personal. From the service to the vibe, everything about this place feels intentional and welcoming.

The customer service from this hotel is outstanding. We had a family emergency and had to cancel last minute. They worked with me to cancel our reservation with zero problems. They were helpful, kind, and efficient and made the process very easy. Veronica and Chris were exceptionally helpful. We will definitely stay with them in the future!

We stay here with our kids every time we stay in NYC since it is local to our old apartment on the UES and it is by far the most comfortable, convenient, and accomodating stay in the city - especially with toddlers and babies! Very special gratitude to Robert Alana at the front desk, who goes above and beyond to make sure that we are comfortable each time we visit - he is exceptionally hospitable and a true asset to the Loews Regency.

Staying at Mandarin Oriental, New York was an unforgettable experience. The service felt magical like having a genie at your fingertips. Every request was answered swiftly and graciously, often arriving at our door almost immediately. Our room had a breathtaking view over Central Park and was immaculately clean, with every detail perfectly cared for from the linens to the amenities. The breakfast was exceptional the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Manhattan, with easy access to iconic sights, shopping, and dining. It truly feels like the center of everything, making it effortless to explore the best of New York. I still miss waking up to that incredible view and the hotel’s signature scent that lingered in the air. (I wish I had asked what fragrance they use so I could bring a little of that atmosphere home.) Thank you, Mandarin Oriental, for making our time in New York so memorable. It’s not just a hotel stay it’s a true experience of comfort, beauty, and world-class hospitality.

Luxurious, very classy, beautiful hotel at Columbus Circle on the south end of Central Park. The staff is amazingly warm and welcoming and supportive. The restaurant food is delicious. One of my best experiences while I was there was eating dinner at the hotel restaurant by myself. The staff was so supportive and welcoming to me that I had a lovely time, even though I was alone. The rooms are luxurious and have amazing views of the city skyline. The hotel is very expensive, but for a special splurge it is definitely worth it.

Deserving of a 6 Star rating. I have listed several experiences on this short 4 day stay. We chose the Mandran because it is close to the Lincoln Theater. My wife had a small issue with another guest. The staff was engaged and responsive. Without us having to ask, Sebastian reached out to me to follow up and went above and beyond for us to make sure we were taken care of. I truly appreciate that he took a small concern and acted on it with style. While waiting for my wife I went to the bar for a quick drink. I was surprised to see a speakeasy style bar that was very comfortable. The Bartender was very friendly, attentive and professional. He made me a cocktail called the Bangkok. It was so good, I ordered another one to go. When I returned to the room, my wife who is not a big drinker actually drank the whole thing. The attention to detail from the bar staff and manager was second to none. The Bartender was clearly one of the best. On our way out I ordered an uber on my phone. We got downstairs a tad late but the doorman had already told our driver where to wait, stopped traffic for us, and escorted us to our car. Exceptional service. I would like again the Thank Sebastian for not just giving me a meaningless apology and sympathy, but for taking action. Every encounter with every employee was professional, calm, and relaxing. In the US and abroad we usually seek out a Four Seasons for their excellent properties and service. The Manderian staff and accommodation exceeded your typical 5 star expectation. Great Job!

MO Lounge never disappoints. The beef tartare was phenomenal, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The katsu sandwich was just as impressive. Service was impeccable from start to finish; the team is genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. A perfect spot for great food, great views, and an elevated experience. We checked out yesterday and realized we left something behind in the room. After a quick call today, their lost and found reported they retrieved our item and will return it promptly. This is pretty rare--typically if things are left behind, like my husband's work iPhone in our Avis rental car, they are never to be seen again. I commend the Mandarin Hotel NYC for their honesty and kindness and wish other places could mimic their actions. Also every service person at this hotel went above and beyond. Thank you.

Stayed at the Mandarin Oriental New York in October and it was exceptional. The views over Central Park during fall foliage were unforgettable, and the service was consistently warm, attentive, and polished. The room was beautifully maintained and incredibly quiet, and the spa and lounge made the stay feel truly restorative. An elevated, seamless experience from start to finish.

We came here for afternoon tea, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made sure we felt like royalty. The service was absolutely amazing - attentive, kind, and genuine. The views were beautiful, and the afternoon tea itself was incredible. They even surprised me with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. Truly one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had. Thank you to the entire team for making it so special!

The sunday feast is insane. One of the better selection of dishes I have seen in a buffet. So good. Soho House is a fun spot that has it all. Love the rooftop too where you can enjoy a cocktail and view. Don’t sleep on the vinyl room either. Fun spot but you have to know someone to get in.

My uncle kindly took me out for drinks at SH—such a beautiful place. Unfortunately, he had to leave unexpectedly due to an emergency. I stayed behind and tried to order a drink but was informed I couldn’t, which I completely understand and respect. As I was leaving and taking the elevator down, I came across a female membership manager. I simply asked if those were the rules, and her response was surprisingly harsh—she told me, “You need to leave,” in a very rude and dismissive tone. It’s disappointing to be treated that way, especially in such a stunning environment where you’d expect professionalism and courtesy. A real shame, because the venue truly is beautiful.

We visited as guests of a member. We had a wonderful time in this stylish location. The food, the drinks and the service were great! Would love to visit again.

The best bartender in New York, John, works here most nights. The service, professionalism and quality of drinks is outstanding. He’s very engaging and is always a highlight of coming here. The vibe of the whole place is outstanding.

You pay for the location - but definitely not the great service at the pool restaurant. Staff is generally inattentive and does’t really seem to enjoy working there or to serve you. Food was okay but nothing that blows you away. Generally feels worn out: the environment, the menu as well as the service. The price ain’t even worth the bragging rights anymore.

The rooms are surprisingly large for a boutique NYC hotel and are fully stocked with ample bespoke toiletries, top branded liquor, copious snacks, signature cookies, and coffee and teas. You could hang in the room comfortably for a long time. Location is right in the thick of Meatpacking District, so it couldn’t be better for walking access to restaurants and nightlife. There’s of course the SoHo House halo effect as well, your mileage may vary. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The hostess was rude and profiled me based on what she thought she knew. The person at the door was extremely kind and wonderful, I expected I’d get the same treatment when I went upstairs to be seated for a meal, the hostess replied what do you want to do here just sit, I mean let’s be honest why would I go to soho house to just sit , I wanted to have a quiet dinner, however I was refused, told seating was for bottle service only. It’s unfortunately due her prejudices and racial discrimination she assumed I couldn’t afford a meal I suppose. I’m so disappointed I’ve been here several times with friends family and even colleagues to be met with such a disgusting discriminatory attitude was disheartening. I hope in the future other will have a better experience. Do better!

Very over priced, not worth staying here. Musty, tight layout, and extremely humid room. Towels were always wet, bathroom would never fully dry after showering. Super soft beds, hurt my back, if you’re not into that. Not that close to train station, bus stop is nearby. No real check in process- didn’t ask for ID, never got a run down of the hotel details. Guests’ dogs everywhere, blocking entire lobby and walkway at some points of the day. Stayed for a wedding a block away, won’t be staying again. Friendly staff, but very minimal service. Has a cafe, bar, and terraces for hanging out. No coffee in the room, you can get water for free by filling a bottle at the cafe. Poor room lighting. Lastly, they checked us out of our hotel before 11am without even speaking to us or letting us know, our keycard stopped working.

Older boutique hotel with a lot of character. I love everything vintage so this was the perfect spot for my husband and I. The bed was so super comfortable and the room service was always on point. Very close to Chelsea Market and Pier 54. Walking the high line at night was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and by far the largest room I’ve ever stayed in in NYC. There were cute features without and I loved the aesthetic. However this was the worst service experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. “Front desk” is hard to find and the staff wasn’t very welcoming. AC was out with no solutions and an empty promise to compensate with money back… that I’m still waiting for an answer on. Overall unimpressed. It was extremely expensive.

I booked a room here and it was a suite. But for some reason, the sweets are on the first floor and being on the first floor of New York City with windows that opened up to their restaurant and the front sidewalk of New York City. I would caution anyone who’s going here to call ahead or ensure they are not getting a room on the first floor that opens up to the streets of Manhattan Because that is dangerous for women staying alone for many reasons and honestly just weird. After 30 minutes of telling me it’s impossible and there was no other options. They suddenly had a room available, which I don’t know why we didn’t start with. That was the whole issue. I didn’t want a room on the first floor sidewalk of New York City. Other than that, the hotel was fine old but clean I would book somewhere else.

A conversion of a former seminary, rooms are generously sized for New York. The front door advertises the fastest Internet in West Chelsea, which seems likely. The area is a little removed from transit, though this does give it a neighborhood-y vibe. Close to the commercial end of Meatpacking.

Do not stay here. We had no functioning HVAC system, no attempt by the hotel to correct this, a room that was different from what was described online, a bathroom that looked dirty, and a silverfish to greet us on the wall when we arrived. We had to open a window to get some fresh air because the place stunk, and that let the mosquitoes in. If you like staying in a hostel, but want to spend money like it’s burning a hole in your pocket, stay here. Otherwise stay far, far away.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I’ve had better experiences in hostels. We didn’t have air conditioning and they brought us a little fan that did not help and said they would send someone the next day. Did not sleep that night. The next day we left the room and asked them to call us when it was fixed. 6 hours later still hadn’t heard from the hotel. We get back and there is still no AC and no update. I complain and ask for a refund. They say it is out throughout the hotel. I threaten to leave the hotel to stay elsewhere. Suddenly they procure a window ac unit. And install with duck tape. The man installing said that the ac and heat do not ever work in 10-15 rooms and the hotel plays stupid and sells the rooms anyway. Run away from this hotel.

We had brunch outside and the experience was underwhelming at best. Given the overpriced menu, we expected a corresponding level of food quality and service—but The Mark fell far short. The setup was disappointing: flimsy plastic chairs and an unsecured tablecloth that kept flying up with the slightest breeze. The food was average at best, certainly not worth the price. Service was where things really unraveled. When a sudden downpour soaked our table—even under the umbrella—the waiter didn’t check on us once. When we asked to be moved inside, we were curtly told there were no tables available, with no mention of the bar area or couches where we eventually seated ourselves out of sheer initiative. We also waited 30 minutes for our food, which arrived without any silverware. So we had to wait another !10 min! to get it. Overall, a frustrating and poorly managed experience. For a place that charges premium prices, this level of carelessness is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it—and frankly, places like this deserve to be boycotted.

This is an iconic property. Some of the associates are very professional and understand the hospitality, food, beverage, and prerequisite expectations. Food is more or less solid, but not exceptional. That is something that needs corrected by Chef Jean-George.

High end hotel near Central Park, The Met, Madison Avenue. It's Old School New York so if you like that, you'll like this hotel. The service is impeccable. Shout out to Mia and the other girl at the front desk Saturday morning 6/7/25. I arrived before check-in because my plan for the day changed. They quickly accommodated me and got me into my room. It's the little things I appreciate like, upon checkout early the next morning, as I approached the desk, Mia said good morming Ms. Johnson. Old school. Classy. Nice bathrooms with shower and tub. I had a view of Madison Avenue. Overall, nice experience. Thanks to the staff.

Ruined and then lost my coat. And then found my coat at the wrong address Went there for a party on Tuesday June 4 where the waiter made an honest mistake and spilled dressing all down the front of my coat. They did the right thing. They took it and got it cleaned and told me I would have it the next day. NOPE. 5 days later I called them. They said they would courier it to me. At a cost of $200-400, I thought I would let them off the hook and told them to FedEx it but just to email me the tracking number. They assured me I would have it on Tuesday. NOPE AGAIN. Called back on Thursday and spoke to Joshua. I asked now that it be couriered since they forgot about it not once, but twice already. He was never direct with me but “assured” me he was handling it “right now”. In quotes because those were his exact words that he repeated several times. Since I was going to be away for 3 weeks I gave him my new address, and he again assured me that it was being handled right now. AGAIN NOPE. It was eventually handled, the next day, and sent to the wrong address. Guess I’ll see my spring coat in the summer and use it next year. But the silver lining is that I only had to call over there 4 times in 10 days and speak to 13 different people. Oh the food was good and space pretentious. Being a compass and some trail mix if you go to the bathroom

This review is only for the hotdog stand outside. It was good. Cross fed beef and kimchi relish! Thicker would be nice!

Upon arrival staff is there ready to greet you. Whether to dine at their restuarant, have drinks at the and mingle with the locals or enjoy a relaxing stay. Minutes from the central park zoo.

The service here is impeccable! We were in NYC and stayed here for an anniversary celebration. It was spectacular! Glasses of Champagne when we arrived for our anniversary, turn-down service each night with sweets and water for the evening or next day, and super helpful/friendly front desk (shout out to Kiwi Maria). The location is wonderful as it is close to Central Park and museums. The bar here is also great and energetic with yummy cocktails and food. The doormen and housekeeping were perfect. In other words- impeccable.
