Really good!! So decadent and satisfying. I heard the chocolate chip walnut cookie is the thing to get and it did not disappoint.

I was honnetly a bit let down by Levains. I just felt the cookies were not balanced in flavor and not a texture I enjoy. The magnolia was doughy, not goey, and didnt have much of a savory note and the oatmeal was the same but even drier and didnt have much oatmeal in it.

Came in to try some cookies. The staff is so friendly and create as super warm atmosphere. The cookies are heavy and fresh. Not super sweet so depending on how you like your cookies will depend if you like these. Daddia was extremely helpful and patient with helping me pick out cookies.

I got one chocolate chip walnut cookie and one s’mores cookie. Both were really good, and seemed like they were baked recently. I also got a cold brew coffee which was very acidic. This made it hard to drink, I ended up throwing it out.

Chocolate chip cookie 100% lives up to the hype! The other cookie that we got, as well as the baguette and jam were great… but nothing at all like that cookie. Within 1 bite it is clear why this place is famous for this cookie

We discovered a fantastic breakfast spot that totally hit the mark for us! The vanilla cappuccino was simply amazing—it really set the tone for the meal. We also tried their breakfast sandwich, which had egg, bacon, roasted tomatoes, and grilled chicken, and it did not disappoint. The vibe of the place was great, the service was top-notch, and everything we ordered was just perfect. I'm giving this place a solid 5 stars and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast!

I think the setup of the Togo order line versus dine in was a bit confusing upon arrival. One of the workers had to clarify. The freshly baked goods in the window are not included on the dining in menu. Great ambience with a store connected through the backend. Bathroom was very clean and nice. Great pastries, I will definitely go again :)

Such a wonderful spot! The food is absolutely delicious and the coffee is bright and refreshing. I especially loved the ratatouille served in the pan with toasted bread—it was full of flavor and so comforting. The service may take a little time, but the staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome. Definitely worth the visit!

Came in with friends. Had the blueberry, goat cheese scone- get it warmed. I had the Martha stewart apple cider- it was delicious!! I had the pumpkin pie matcha- it was ok, but no real pumpkin flavor. The atmosphere was charming.

Absolutely loved my visit to Maman! I tried the iced latte, the pistachio chocolate croissant and the mango and passion fruit bun, and they were exceptional. The latte was smooth and perfectly balanced, not too bitter, not too sweet, and the croissant was flaky, rich, and packed with flavor. The pistachio and chocolate combo was a total win. The ambiance is cozy and charming, with beautiful French café vibes that make you want to stay a while. Can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!

I looove Maman! I’ve been to a few of their NY spots now and every time feels like a little escape. The decor has that rustic French charm with exposed brick and whitewashed walls, vines draped around the windows, and a mix of farmhouse tables for groups and cozy bistro tables for catch-ups. Their coffee, pastries, and sandwiches always hit the spot. Pro tip: don’t plan to bring your laptop here. I showed up ready to get some work done only to realize they’re proudly a no-WiFi, no-laptop zone. At first I was caught off guard, but it does fit the vibe, this is a place for slowing down, chatting, or just soaking in the atmosphere. Overall, it feels like stepping into a Parisian countryside kitchen magically tucked into the middle of NYC. Always a treat and always worth a stop.

We stopped in for breakfast and tried the Smashed Avocado Tartine and Papa’s Breakfast Bowl—both were absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully plated. Excellent neighborhood chocolatier. The staff is very nice and superb helpful. And the chocolate is delicious. Also, I recommend the Wicked Hot Chocolate with s tinge of spice. It's perfect for a cold day.

I have visited the Grand Central and other locations before as I have loved these cookies since visiting Mr. Chocolate's second NYC location on Hudson St. Dumbo was the first location he opened. This is a large and well set up store with excellent staff and so many products available. We of course took away multiple cookies and some dark chocolate. I appreciate that it is explained where the chocolate is sourced from. The cookies were amazing and are definitely a favorite of mine!

Unlike his original chocolate shop in Dumbo over 20 years ago, there isn’t a chocolate factory on site. However, the chocolate is just as delicious as I remember it! So many offerings, truffles, gelato and their delicious big chewy cookies! Not many cold drink options, just water and hand crafted coffees and milkshakes. You can even buy the mixes to take home or hot chocolate mix. We had a nice break after walking the Brooklyn flea on a Saturday afternoon.

If you’re looking for a delicious chocolate chip cookie, soft, tender crumb, rich chocolatey layers throughout- then you’ve found the right place! First time I ever tried one of these cookies was at the Upper West Side location. Unfortunately that shop has since closed. So we made our way to Dumbo just so I could eat a cookie! It was worth it! Ended up buying 5 and getting one free- super excited to share with the family when we get home! If you come out this way- be sure to enjoy the views of the bridges!

I only ordered a chocolate chip cookie, but it was very good. Not overly sweet, very soft but light crispness at the edges. Chocolate was very rich. AC was broken when we visited, but the staff still made everything work and served us quickly. The truffle I sampled from my friend’s box was very rich and smooth. Recommended.

Extremely overrated and seems like a total tourist trap… nothing about this experience felt authentic in the slightest. I have been to many bakeries in France and this place would struggle against my local cafe. I was very very excited to try their cookies and hot chocolate but was extremely disappointed in the quality. The cookie both looked and tasted like it was baked last week and I wouldn’t normally be this harsh but for a place that’s specialty is chocolate I was not impressed plus.. its not exactly cheap. There is not much to complain about with the service.. they were kind and efficient. Even so I would recommend going some where else.

Was a larger than expected size shop. It appears to be 2 shop combined. One side is mostly ice cream. The other is fudge, cookies and coffee. 4$ for most cookies. Fudge depends on how much you buy. Some of the prices seems a little high but that could just be me. Staff was good. It was definitely halloween themed when I entered noticed it right away.

Disclaimer: I came near closing time and I’ve heard that there’s a big difference in quality between early visits and late visits, with items tasting better earlier in the day. We got a DKA (Dominique’s kouign amann) and a cronut and it ended up being almost $16. The flavors of the two were good but neither were flaky at all. No flakes to be found. I was very disappointed in the lack of croissant texture. I don’t think I will return as I didn’t enjoy the “must-try” items and it was expensive. The waiter was also nice but the person manning the register was kind of rushing to get us out of the restaurant.

Ansel Bakery is a true NYC classic! Their Cronut is really good, a little too sweet for me, but still delicious. I love their cookie shot with the milk inside! There’s plenty of seating toward the back, which is nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Definitely worth checking out at least once, they have lots of other great treats too!

Visiting was such a joyful experience. I loved the pumpkin cronut and I do not like pumpkin- it's that good! I also had avo toast which was a work of art and tasted amazing. Eating in flower garden was amazing. But the thing that really stood out was the service. The two men behind the counter were so friendly, patient and helpful- yes in NYC! You could tell they really enjoy what they do. This is a must visit in Soho.

While traveling around Manhattan, hitting some bakeries and coffee shops, I stopped in at Dominique Ansel. It came highly recommended, and is the home of the original cronut, so I knew it had to be on the list to visit. There was quite a selection of options, and the cronut was pretty special. They even had a cute little outdoor garden space to sit and enjoy our food. It took them a while to get us everything we ordered, but all in all, I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

I’m really surprised by the fact that this place only has a 4.3. It definitely deserves much much more. Dominique is a master and it shows in the craft. I remember the first time I ever had the Dominique’s Kouign Amman when they opened up a location in the United Kingdom, and I was smitten. I even had a pack of 24 baked fresh for someone extremely important in my life the very next week. At that time, I tried their cronut for the first time and I was blown away. A lot of people say that it’s too sweet for them, but a classic doughnut is usually pretty sweet. The execution on the pastry is phenomenal. The creativity is world class. We got the breakfast sandwich and the quiche. Both used to techniques in cooking egg that is very difficult to find outside of Paris. The pistachio filled pastry genuinely had the most intense pistachio flavour I have ever had in any item. The Kouign Amann is gorgeous. I absolutely love how the caramelization developed the entirety of the pastry rather than having a thick toffee like layer at the bottom that I find difficult to chew. For me, it is the gold standard. I do wish that the bakery, were set up in a nicer way in terms of the seating. But in the middle of New York City, I can understand that that is difficult given how competitive real estate is, and how big their kitchen needs to be to accommodate a huge variety of excellent pastries that they offer. I did find the outside patio area to be really unique because there were many birds flying around.

My husband and I would try random items at least once a month and we honestly never had a bad item from the menu, even the spinach quiche is 👌🏽. I guess the turnover of items contributes to the freshness and quality of the selections that they have available for the day. must visit? yes! make it a part of your routine? definitely! ☺️

Fair but nothing to write home about. The famed DKA (Dominique Kouign Amann) pales in comparison to the ones at La Maison d'lsabelle of Paris which won best croissant in Paris of 2018. The flavor of the DKA has a balanced caramel sweetness. However, the dough lacks enough butter and the shape prevents it from being crispy all across the outside, it's not a flat circle but poofy. The cronut is fun (although the icing makes it too sweet) and the watermelon sorbet refreshing. Service is professional. The atmosphere in the garden is especially airy.

Went on a saturday night. The Classic: texture is good but too much salt. The salt shouldn’t overpower the chocolate in my opinion. Key lime: Pretty decent, good frosting to cookie ratio, smells very strong but the key lime pie taste is mild. Earl grey lavender tea (?): Tastes just like lavender, not my favorite but I’m not big into lavender anyways lol. Cookie dough: Raw cookie dough on a baked cookie, not sure what i expected., but i personally donr like the combination together. White chocolate; very mild white chocolate flavor and kind of salty? Peanut butter: my favorite, strong peanut butter taste and great texture. The Hangover: feels like a combination that should work but just doesn’t. The chips really throw me off. 2/10 for me, fun to try once I guess but wouldn’t come back. My boyfriend also tried it and said they were the worst cookies hes ever had, he didn’t like any of them :(

Stopped by Schmackary's early on the way to get bagels. The cookies looked too good to wait until a more reasonable time. The store is clean and well-kept. The young lady who came to take my order was prompt and efficient. Beyond all of that, the cookies are delicious! Got the corn and the limited time strawberry rhubarb. Both are excellent! Fully baked but still soft, flavorful and well structured. Don't waste your money on mass-produced, under-baked Crumbl! Schmackary's unique flavors and superior baking is completely worth it.

Freaking love this place! It’s my absolute favorite way to wrap up an evening on Broadway! They stay open late, have quick friendly service, but best of all… AMAZING SWEET TREATS!!!! Did you know they do partnerships with lots of Broadway shows?! How cool is that?? And now they serve ice cream! The funfetti ice cream sandwich is top notch. Sweet, salty, crunchy, soft, smooth, refreshing. Hits a lot of flavor magic for me. 🤤🤤🤤🍪🍪🍪

We tried the classic, chocolate crunch, and a Blondie. I went for the classic, but honestly it was a little too sweet for me. My sister, on the other hand, loved her chocolate crunch cookie!

Tried this on a recommendation from a YouTuber. We really enjoyed our ice cream sandwich. We did ours with the peanut butter cookie and the snickerdoodle. It was very big and we split it. It was a nice little treat for the tel of us. The peanut butter cookie was very tasty. The snickerdoodle cookie was a baked a little more than I like my cookies but that is all personal preference. It was clean and the employees were nice.

My cookie was absolutely delicious and now I'm addicted! The store is clean with great fast service. They have cookies, brownies, dessert bars, and ice cream available for purchase. I was planning on only going once during my two day trip, but I ended up going again!

After dinner, we fancied some indulgent sweets, so we popped over around 11 PM on a Saturday night. The place was absolutely heaving, and after trying their cookies, it’s clear why. I picked up four different cookies, and they were all brilliant. They’re so soft they practically crumble apart, which, to me, is a sure sign of quality ingredients and proper baking. When I arrived, I hadn’t a clue what to go for, but the young lady behind the counter was ever so polite and helped me pick the perfect treats to satisfy my sugar craving. If you’re in Midtown and have a bit of a sweet tooth, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go.

Came for the award-winning cookie and left underwhelmed. The texture was spot-on—crispy edges with a perfectly chewy, gooey center—but the chocolate was overpowering and the sweetness a bit much for my taste. It’s a solid cookie, just not the “best in NYC” level I’d hoped for. On the upside, the matcha latte with almond milk was excellent—smooth, balanced, and just the right amount of matcha. The staff were friendly, the line moved quickly, and there’s seating for about 10–15 people (all full at 11am on a Tuesday). I’d return for the matcha and maybe to try the corn cookie next time, but I’ll skip the signature chocolate one.

This place won best cookie in NYC for a reason. Coffee is good, cookies are bomb. The chocolate chip is a stand out. The Korn cookie was a surprise to me at how much I loved it. The oatmeal one is also delicious. I didn't get to try the peanut butter ones but ONE DAY I will. Delicious Cookies!

The maple cream on the pumpkin spice latte was sensational! The kind staff member at the front told me they make everything in house (including the PSL syrup). Espresso is fruity and acidic. The chocolate chip cookie was gooey and the black and white cookie was a fun blend of white and dark chocolate. It’s busy, but the line moves quickly! I’m interested in trying the PB cookie next time.

This place has incredible espresso. The black and white cookie was delicious. I also bought a bag of beans to take home with me. It’s a Saturday and I waited probably 20 minutes in line just to order so be prepared to wait. The espresso had a perfect flavor and no bitterness. I highly recommend this coffee shop!

This place is not screwing around. Award-winning cookie is an understatement. This thing needs more than an award….it needs to be put in the books as the gooiest, chocolatiest, most tastiest cookie in all of New York. Never thought in my life that I would visit a destination just for a chocolate chip cookie…. this place just changed my perspective on what to expect from a chocolate chip cookie. Not only was the staff super friendly and nice, and the place was clean and tidy, but the coffee and tea was also tasty. But again, the moment I grabbed that cookie and broke it in half to expose the most chocolatiest insides I’ve ever seen….i knew my life was about to change forever…. and it did. Bravo Culture espresso for being so awesome, and thank you for sharing such goodness with the world through your coffee and cookies.

The coffee was solid and the vibe was interesting,half café, half art installation with chandeliers and upside-down mannequins. The name Culture Espresso might be the best thing about it. Tried two cookies: the oatmeal raisin had zero sweetness, basically flavored dough, and the black & white was fine but not memorable. If this place were in New Jersey, it would be a 5-star neighborhood gem, but in New York, where the competition is fierce, it lands at 3. Still, nice staff, cozy energy, worth a stop if you’re nearby.

The cookie here is a winner. You can actually taste the quality. As for latte, the balance is good and not acidic at all. The only complaint is that the note of roasted nuts is too much for me.

🍪 Visited Funny Face Bakery today and got the chocolate chip cookie — sooo good! Amanda was my server and she was the sweetest. It’s such a cute, posh little spot with fun animated cookies and giant soft ones too. They even offer milk at an affordable price and do custom orders! Loved the cozy seating area. They also have another location in SoHo — highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat! 💕✨

The staff is so sweet and friendly. I keep going back 😩 The cookies are delicious, especially Hamilton's temptation. I keep going back for that one while supplies last. I'm "not throwing away my shot" at getting more of those. 🤣😂 I'll see myself out. 🚶‍♀️

We stopped by Funny Face Bakery and tried the chocolate chip cookies and cookie dough—absolutely incredible! The cookies were perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey, soft, and warm on the inside. Such a delicious treat! The customer service was also amazing—friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even better. They really did an amazing job, and I can’t wait to come back!

It’s a beautiful shop and I had it saved on my map re their chocolate chip cookies. I was in the area and craving one so it worked out well in that way. Unfortunately, the cookie was nearly $8 with tax (seemingly by far the cheapest option) and there was a tip request on top of that. The cookie was really mediocre. Honestly Levain is much better and there are options better than that. The alternatives are also cheaper. I would not get it again. I’m not sure if it’s down to personal preference or if people don’t know any better. The main upside is that I’m really taking my time with it instead of gobbling it down. One issue is the chocolate quality.

I came in excited to try the banana pudding, but was immediately disappointed—the first bite had rubbery banana chunks that didn’t feel like a frozen texture. I kept eating hoping it was just one piece, but every chunk had that same rubbery bite, giving the same feeling as when you eat eggs and suddenly hit an eggshell—instant ick. I mentioned it to the friendly lady at the register, who was super kind and quickly offered to swap it for another pudding. Unfortunately, the replacement still had the same rubbery pieces. The lighting inside is also really bad, which makes the space feel a bit off. On the bright side, the s’more cookie was the star of the show—perfectly gooey and flavorful. I’ll definitely come back to try more cookie flavors, but I’ll skip the banana pudding next time.

Delicious desserts for all hours of the day. I had the Milk Bar pie and Sundae combo deal. They were both good. The vanilla soft serve ice cream is a cereal milk tasting flavor which my husband did not like. He thought it was good but his flavor of choice. The pie was very rich maybe too rich for me. Eating it together was delicious though. Prices were good. Selection was good. Seating available was good. It’s a nice place to sit and satisfy your sweet tooth for sure.

Had this place recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! We ordered the lemon meringue pie and cereal milk soft serve, and it definitely satisfied our sweet tooth. The girl taking our order was also super sweet. Would definitely visit again if I’m ever in NYC again!

This place has definitely gone way downhill. The employees don’t care, the music is too loud and this is what a “Pie and Soft Serve” looks like. Everyone understands that when someone orders pie and ice cream, the ice cream should be on top of the pie. And also the pie should be warm. Here instead you get this and the pie is refrigerated solid out of a box. Very dissatisfying

Honestly? Average. Just average. I came here expecting a fun, creative dessert stop something sweet to wrap up the night, but everything just kind of fell flat. The snacks looked cute, sure, but the flavors were uninspired. Our drinks were lukewarm, the sugar hit too strong, and it all felt like the staff was more eager to close up than serve something memorable. Quick notes for fellow dessert hunters: Service: Polite and minimal, just enough to take the order and move things along. Food: Ok. It's ok. Atmosphere: Clean enough, but the energy was as tired as the drinks. Nothing terrible, but nothing special either. Out of everywhere I visited in NYC, this was the most forgettable stop, which is saying something in a city full of flavor.

Beautiful cafe on the west side of Greenpoint on a nice street. The sourdough bagel is airier than a regular bagel, With fixings, I think the lack of density can be a little missing. Next time I'd probably just do the bagel with cream cheese. I liked the ham and cheese focaccia especially when I warmed it up on a skillet rotating the surface that touched the bottom. That I do recommend although you should have an appetite. It's a heavy item, very heavy.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience today 3-3:30PM. I came to pick up a birthday cake I had ordered three weeks in advance for someone very special to me. I chose this bakery because of its great reputation for healthy, gluten-free cakes—and I was genuinely looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service I received. When I walked in, I greeted the staff warmly with a smile and a “hello.” The woman behind the counter asked for my pickup name, and I gave it—adding that it was for a cake I had pre-ordered. She immediately cut me off and said, “I only asked for your name,” with a smirk, as if I had said something wrong. It felt unnecessarily rude, but I chose to stay polite and move on. What really upset me was what happened next. As she was handing me the cake, it suddenly tilted heavily to one side and nearly slipped out of the box. I had to catch it quickly with my own hands to keep it from toppling over completely. Despite this, she didn’t apologize or check to see if the cake was okay. She simply said, “Don’t worry, it’s fine,” and handed it over as if nothing had happened. Because of the tilt, the glitter decoration—which I had paid extra for—ended up smudged all over the clear part of the cake box. Because I was leaving for the out of town right after, I didn’t have time to request a replacement—but I left the store feeling very upset and disappointed. I also politely asked if they had a plastic knife I could use to cut the cake, and again, her response was dismissive and mocking. She laughed and said, “I’ve never heard of that,” as if it were a ridiculous question. I completely understand if they don’t provide plastic knives—but there’s a respectful way to say that without belittling the customer or comparing other bakeries in a sarcastic tone. And just to clarify, many bakeries do offer plastic knives for convenience—so it wasn’t an unreasonable question at all. I don’t know what kind of day she was having or why she felt the need to treat a customer this way—but for someone picking up a cake for a special occasion, it left a really bitter impression. This one interaction had the power to ruin what should’ve been a joyful and meaningful moment. For a place with such a strong reputation, I hope the management considers the impact staff attitude can have on a customer’s experience. No matter how good the product may be, the service still matters.

Working with Ovenly for our wedding cake was such a breeze! The ease started when they accommodated specific delivery instructions for the cupcake tasters. It went smooth and every taster was AMAZING! We emailed with Lynn and ordered our chocolate Stout with Raspberry filing cake. Around a week before our wedding we were able to add some cupcakes without a problem for non-chocolate loving friends. Lynn was understanding and answered quickly when I checked in just to make sure delivery was set the week before because I was being an anxious bride. Everything was delivered with no issue to the wedding venue day of. Everyone LOVED the cake and cupcakes. People across the room could smell the amazing dark chocolate stout cake once we did the first cut. We got asked for the bakery multiple times. The 12 inch fed a room of ~55 with enough left over for our 1 year anniversary piece to freeze. We loved working with Ovenly and plan on being returning customers for future events.

Ovenly is a solid dessert location with a variety of unique cakes, cookies and cupcakes. We tried the hot chocolate cookie and Brooklyn Blackout cupcake, both of which were tasty and not as overly sweet as some desserts. They use beer in the making of the Brooklyn Blackout, which added some unique flavor to the cupcake.

Friends and I planned a challenge to visit the best cookies in NYC. Ovenly was our first stop and we came here for its Salted Peanut Butter and the Daily Special - Salted Almond Chocolate Chunk. The Peanut Butter was one of our top 3, soft inside with strong PB smell and crunchy outside. The size was perfect for individuals. The Almond Chocolate Chunk was too salty on the layer and off balance with almond & chocolate. We also got a Ham & Cheese Croissant to share since it looked so appetizing in the display. However, even with our request to heat it up, the croissant was still served cold. It tasted not as good as what we expected. The decor was artsy and adorable with cozy ambiance, so we enjoyed our stay there (dining outside) even in a cold weather.

The reason for my 1 star review is down to a single staff member. Without naming names I will just provide an example of my experience. If you don't feel like reading this block of text then it's simple - they have a senior staff member that is obnoxious, condescending, and really should never be placed in a customer facing position. I'm sure they're very capable at fufilling their title duties but please for the love of god stay far away from the front of house. I've been a patron of Ovenly for many years (since they had a location in Grand Central) but that ends today. I visited the Greenpoint shop a few days ago to gather information about cakes (for my upcoming wedding). I had also corresponded via email with Ovenly a week prior but wasn't receiving answers to my questions so I thought that visiting in person would be a quick way to get things sorted. I walked in and asked if they had any sample slices that I might try. I was told, in a curt manner, they didn't have them but to go to the website to fill out a form to have them ship me a cake sampler for $45. Given that I was there I asked if there was another option and they pointed at a cupcake sampler in the refrigerator. I purchased it to try the cupcakes. Note that during this exchange I felt the staff member was talking down to me and was generally rude - but I just waved the thought out of mind - maybe I was misreading the situation. So my partner and I tried the cupcakes and decided on two that we really liked, I only had one question. One of the cupcakes that we liked was very sweet with a caramel drizzle and I wanted to know if we could get a cake with everything the same minus the caramel. So I stood up and asked the barista (different person, they were very nice) my question, they told me that they didn't know the answer but to hang on a moment because they would go ask. The curt staff member came out from the back, and immediately blurted, "okay first off don't ask them (the barista) any questions... they don't know anything." This was said right in front of the barista and it's obvious that they overheard it. Then they proceeded for 5 minutes, without taking a moment to inhale oxygen, to explain to me why I shouldn't be in their store asking questions but instead should be emailing them. About 4 minutes into their rant, I tried to just get a simple answer, "I just have one question about the cara...", to which they shushed me and said, "well no you have LOTS of QUESTIONS and the ONLY way to get answers to ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS is to EMAIL US. blah blah blah I'm so important (they mentioned their job title) and can't you see that I'm doing three things at once and I don't have time to answer your question but I'll gladly stand here for 5 minutes and tell you why you should be emailing me instead..." If you're keeping score at home - the only way to receive a yes or no answer to this question, "can you make this cake but without the caramel drizzle?", is to email the person standing in front of me at that very moment. Yup, they were the one I had corresponded with the week before, to no avail. To be honest, I'm very happy that I went in to Ovenly in person because it essentially confirmed a sneaking suspicion that I had a week earlier while emailing with that same person... when a business can't provide a baseline level of courtesy, like not being a condescending jerk... I'll gladly take my business somewhere else. Oh and fortunately I did find a much better business who not only had quick answers to my question but also treated me like a normal human being - Molly's Cupcakes.

this was my first time trying Chip City cookies and I’m positively surprised! The cookies were sweet, gooey, and just perfect. I got the chocolate chip, blueberry cheesecake and reese’s peanut butter blast cookies and all of them were great (although my favorite one was blueberry cheesecake). Also employees were patient and friendly 🖤🍪

These are not your regular cookies, these are the best cookies in town. They are big, chunky, freshly baked and they taste like a little piece of heaven. There are 13 flavors in total yet they do 4 different ones each day. There is usually always a line outside no matter what time but it runs fast and they are worth the wait. Each cookie is about $4.75 each or 3 cookies for about $14 total. Small place with big flavors. My favorites are oatmeal apple pie and chocolate chip. The oatmeal one tastes like a perfectly baked apple pie, with the right amount of sweetness, so soft and so delightful. Now as a chocolate lover, the chocolate chip cookie is just perfection for me.

The cookies are always great but what stood out the most at this location was SPENCER. He was extremely welcoming, engaging and helpful. Thank you for the excellent service!!

Love their cookies! They are so thick and delicious! The Sea Salt Nutella is perfection! And the classic chocolate chip, triple chocolate and funfetti were all fantastic too! Would highly recommend getting a 1/2 dozen box - (they offer the 6th cookie free) to try a few different flavors!

Oh what a shop to be in!! I love this cookie shop!! Their cookies are so damn good. I cannot tell you how great they are! They cost a tad bit more than a regular run of the mill cookie but I promise, they’re so good. My favorite is the s’mores cookie. Metered parking is available but you can’t sit in the cookie shop. The customer service is excellent, my server was super friendly and helpful. Pre-ordering is also available.

Ordered 4 chocolate chip cookies. Not impressed at all. Needs to be sweeter saltier and chewier. It tastes too dense, crispy and doughy somehow all at the same time. It’s also entirely way too large. Idk why certain establishments are obsessed with making these gargantuan cookies but then forget to focus on the flavor and texture. Like thanks for the value but it still doesn’t taste great. You’ve only accomplished giving me an even larger mediocre chocolate chip cookie. Insomnia Cookies is better than this place. If you want an actual good chocolate chip cookie, go to Culture Espresso or 7 Grams in NYC. THAT is what it should taste like. Even LeVain is way better than this if you must have a baseball sized cookie. Unfortunately, I am still searching for anything decent in my neighborhood of Astoria. Why is this so damn hard to find? People trying way to hard with the simplest of cookies smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

Omg. The cookies smell so good. The staff was very friend to explain the deal they offer. My first time there and I definitely need to try out their other cookies on happy hour time that is cheaper.

I’ve walked past this spot so many times and was always a little skeptical, but I finally gave it a try — and I’m so glad I did. This place deserves way more attention. The chocolate chip cookie tasted homemade, not overly sweet like most popular cookie spots in the city. I usually can only take a few bites and end up sharing because it’s too much, but with this one, I didn’t want to stop eating. It was warm, had the perfect balance of crunchy edges and a gooey center, and just felt like a really satisfying treat. Definitely coming back. I don’t think it’s worth $8/$9 for one though. I’d rather get an elevated pastry elsewhere.

Naaaaaah, this ain’t it yall. For one this cookie is ridiculously too sweet. Two, It hard to even call it a cookie, it’s not flat, rather oblate, it might as well be sphere. Lastly, I’m all for a cookie with a gooey center but c’mon it’s not even cooked at this point it’s just a ball of cookie dough. Smh I really wanted to like it but if I’d make any suggestion it would be make them flatter, semi sweet and a bit more solid with crispy edges because it’s falling apart when you pick it up . However the staff were very friendly and welcoming, great customer service.

Gooey On The Inside/Nutella Cookie: The portion size of the cookie is quite substantial. Unlike most cookie shops, this location serves the cookie partially baked. While I acknowledge the originality, it doesn’t do justice in this case. The contents of the nutella cookie was too sugary and overbearing in taste. The cookie was undercooked, which resulted in its gooey texture. My preference is to have cookies in their original forms.

This hole in the wall (literally located in a basement!) cookie shop is so underrated !! The name of the shop is very fitting for its menu items, as all the cookies had a harder outer shell and the gooeist / slightly underbaked insides🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️All of the cookies came out super warm, and when you break it apart all the chocolate is half-melted 🍫This place also has some creative items, like the Croissant Chocolate Chip Cookie (which was one of my favs and a brand new menu item!) and the Dubai Chocolate Cookie (which was my fav since it had a hint of salt in it)😇

These cookies are heaven! Particularly the chocolate chip! It has semi sweet and milk chocolate and is so gooey and rich. Definitely lives up to the name. It’s also super easy to miss - it’s down in a basement and only has one sign advertising it. We also tried the s’mores but I didn’t personally love that cookie. The chocolate chip is seriously to die for though!

Very tempting butter aroma, the croissant was really good, with almond filling inside and a cookie-like crispy outside. Maybe the croissant was so good that the cinnamon roll looked ordinary. The store also sells sandwiches, lunch salads and soups, with a lot of choices. It is a bakery that has won many awards, I will come back to buy croissants and try other foods.

Signs announcing that this bakery has been awarded best baguette and best croissant are all over the walls of this bakery with good reason. Upon entering, you’re confronted with a really mesmerizing display of breads and pastries, and the bakers in-store are happy to discuss their products and help you make a selection. Because I am limited to the confines of my human organs, I could not eat everything and picked an almond croissant and a chocolate rugelach. The almond filling was delicious and smooth, and nothing was too sweet: completely perfect. I’m a little traditional with rugelach, and I think this felt a little more like a mini chocolate croissant to me, but it was delicious nonetheless! Will be returning.

Total waste of money. Insane you buy an almond croissant and you get neither of the distinctive traits that makes a pastry an almond croissant: the studded almond crust on top, and the almond filling inside. My crust had literally two tiny flakes of an almond. That’s it. 2 shavings. And absolutely nothing inside. Even as a basic croissant this sucked, it was flat and had no lift or air inside. Staff were nice but they can’t save this total disappointment of a pastry. Edit: In response to the reply, there was nothing inside. Zoom in on the pics and judge for yourself.

Thank you! Truly. Thanks for not making me late for work this morning. I saved $12 and got a healthy breakfast from my work fridge instead. Win-win. I usually stop by 2–6 times a week for the carb-loaded goodness. Lately, though, I’ve discovered a new perk here: the staff’s talent for such engaging conversations with each other that customers at the register become invisible. Watching 4–5 staff members ignore you on your way to work is… impressive. I leave with money still in my pocket and arrive at work on time. I’m starting to think this might be the best deal in town.

Went to the Union Square location- lives up to its reputation as a go-to spot for artisan breads and delectable sandwiches. We started with their sourdough bread to go, which is a standout. The slow-fermented organic sourdough had a perfect balance of tangy flavor and a chewy, airy crumb, encased in a golden crust. If you’re a sourdough enthusiast, this is a must-try. The olive and cheese breadsticks were another highlight. And we also got croissant and palmiers were superhit. They were a fantastic snack on their own. We sat and I ordered the egg salad sandwich. My wife ordered the roasted bell peppers sandwich with cream cheese on sourdough bread was the star of the meal. The roasted bell peppers were sweet and smoky, paired beautifully with the rich, tangy cream cheese. The sourdough bread provided a sturdy yet soft base that soaked up the flavors without falling apart. The combination was simple yet executed with such precision that every bite was a delight. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. Prices are on the higher side, as expected for an artisan bakery in NYC, but the quality justifies the cost.

I have tried chocolate babka from Kossars and Russ & Daughters, but the best I've had so far is from Bread's Bakery! I love my chocolate babka to be dense and loaded with chocolate. Bread's Bakery delivers on both! Definitely the best!! Plus, the place is immaculate and everything is organized. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other delicious delights!

Nice iced lattes and a great almond croissant. It seems their breads are also very good, smell, texture and banking care impressed me and I have to come back for more

This location is very tight but for the location it is very convenient. If you love cookies you need to stop by here. You're introduced with a amazing smell as soon as you walk in. The staff here seem to always be busy taking orders and dashers coming and going picking up. Definitely recommend

This review is solely based on the quality of the cookies. The people working there were nice and friendly and have absolutely no issues with them. The cookies just seemed to be cooked more well done which isn't what I like. I get it. They are making thousands of cookies per day and I come in around 9pm looking for a snack. I still think the quality should be there. Their loss though because I get pretty hungry at night!!

I ordered cookies through uber & honestly uber and drivers need to do better how you deliver someone order like this was the driver going fast Were you touching it ? disgusting . Never will order from them again.

Insomnia cookies have the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. It is beyond ridiculous. They been having me going in circles for an order for over a month to their customer service email. I ordered and they forgot an item in my order. I proceed to reach out to them where they give me a promo code that doesn't work spoke to multiple agents who also tried to get it to work but still no updates. I spoke to another agent today after speaking to agent after agent and still no one was able to address the issue.

I was hoping to send the Brookie made with Snickers for a team meeting, and the store manager, Paulo, went above and beyond trying to help. Even though their store was sold out, he took the time to call a few other locations to see if he could find the product. Outstanding customer service and genuine effort — much appreciated!

The cookies taste good and I like that there is a variety of flavors. The texture is not consistent with every cookie. I prefer these cookies when they are a little gooey on the inside. Sometimes they are a bit more baked through. I gotta say the cookies are a little expensive imo. Other reviews have made comments regarding friendly service. I did NOT have the same experience. The guy who helped me was short with me and his tone was impatient. I did not feel welcome.

Service and atmosphere were nice. Good place to sit for a couple of minutes. I had the tiramisu latte, London fog cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. The coffee was better than most in NYC. The cookies were lacking in terms of flavor and texture given the price of $6.75/cookie. The chocolate chip is similar to Levain's whereas the London fog and peanut butter cookie is more similar to Culture's but fall short of their competitors.

Not the best experience for coffee in the City. I was attracted by the Tiramisu Latte. I got in and the barista was kind annoyed that I requested that because apparently it is a lot of work for them. It cost aroun $13. It was crazy for me. The place was quiet but we not a lot of seats available. We waited that someone left before sitting. Then the disappointing part was the coffee… no resemblance with the taste of tiramisu. For sure I will not get that latte again but I’ll give them another chance for something else.

I tried the tiramisu latte and rocky road cookie. The latte was good but overpriced at $12. I didn't really get rocky road vibes from the cookie - it seemed more like a chocolate and nut cookie.

They have a small outdoor seating area that I really liked, but the cookies weren’t quite my style. They were just a bit too sweet for me, especially the white side.

I recently visited after my mom told me some family lore about William Greenberg’s. Apparently, in the 60s and 70s, my grandma used to fly with boxes of their treats to Puerto Rico upon request of a friend that used to live in New York. It seems like every New Yorker with generations of lore has something to say about William Greenberg’s. My neighbor says it’s where his mother bought his Bar Mitzvah cake and says that he sends their famous chocolate cake whenever the occasion arises. Going there feels like stepping back in time from the moment you see their retro red and white exterior. But most impressive to me were the BEST BLACK AND WHITE COOKIES I’ve ever had. And I’m not even usually a fan. But the cookie is light and flaky, and the icing has just the right amount of give before melting away in your mouth. And they come in super cute colors? I ate four immediately. They also have vegan options!

Conveniently located near the park and museum too. I'll be back to try more! The black and white cookie was legit, need to try the red velvet one!

Really truly the best black and white cookies. I got a box of the minis there on Halloween eve and shared it with the kids. They packed it very nicely with paper between so nothing stuck together. But they were eaten quickly.

NOT what it used to be. We all know many products went down in quality and up in price after covid. This is one of them. Walked into the Madison ave location and a special kid with glasses took my order. He did not know the product very well but someone next to him did and I ended up purchasing (1) lemon and (1) orange pound cake. I was happy until I saw that they are now wrapped in plastic and not very fresh. I tasted it. My wife tasted it. It was STALE. We both agreed that it is not the same as before. Stale and Very dry -hence the back of the cake depicted in the picture. Very weird tasting cake and even the icing did not taste fresh and stuck to the plastic wrapping. It feels like it was not fresh at all. Tasted old and chemically. All the finesse and moist fresh delicious products they used to have is gone. Never again. What a disappointment for the $14 that I paid.

Horrific. I went today for black & white cookies for a kids party. The staff was so rude, slow and incompetent. There was hair in the meringue pie in the fridge! And mini black and whites are $2/cookie. What happened to quality and pleasant service?

Mother in law and my clients swear by this place so i stopped by... now im a fan. Only issue is check your orders. My cake was a birthday cake and they put everything but happy birthday on it... we had a big laugh then ate delicious cake so it all works out in the end.

Food: We got the chocolate chip cookie and although it was good and THICK, it didn't seem fully cooked inside. It was very sweet but just wish it was in the oven for a bit longer. Saw this on social media and had to try it. Came on a Thursday evening for my bday treat wish and it was crowded with a long line out the door. Easy to get here by train. They had a good enough selection and can see someone in the kitchen making cookies. It’s a nice store and had some merch to purchase. Gosh, so glad we made it to try these delicious cookies while in NY! I loved them all. I forgot to take pics of everything as everyone at them right away but they were fat cookies and moist with lots of chocolate and ingredients. The Muffin was a small size I am used to seeing. Blueberry muffin Two Chocolate Chip Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip Double Chocolate Chip (My favorite!!!) Prices are a little expensive but so worth it. This is a must try while in NY Manhattan.

Levain Bakery is a famous spot for a reason — the cookies are massive and packed with flavor. We tried the classic and a dark chocolate one, and both were very sweet, almost overwhelmingly so, but still incredibly tasty. It’s hard to stop eating once you start, even though the sweetness can be a bit much. Definitely worth trying at least once while in NYC, especially if you’ve got a sweet tooth. A memorable bakery experience that lives up to its reputation.

Ordered three - two were delicious, one (white chocolate and macadamia) was mind blowing. Recommended here by an NYC friend and wasn’t disappointed. Cookies were warm and melt in your mouth. Absolutely fabulous - go here without hesitation.

I thought - oh, it‘s just cookies. Should I really get them? The food scene in NYC is vast & I‘m only here for a short time - and one can only eat so much. Well, I‘m so glad I did drop by and I‘ll definitely get some to bring on my flight back. Would recommend to try the caramel coconut!

What a taste! The cookie is excellent and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The Dark Chocolate with Peanut Butter was delicious and was really good with taste. I ended up taking a parcel of 6 cookies just to cherish with my family.

I had a great experience at The Good Batch while I was staying in Brooklyn during a recent trip to New York. I came in around 10am and ordered a cappuccino and a cheese & chive savory scone. The cappuccino was light, flavorful, and had a fluffy foam top. The scone was pretty nice, too. You could taste the cheddar and chives prominently and it was structurally sound, not crumbling to pieces upon biting it. The shop is small but has a handful of seats, and I was comfortable working on my laptop there for about an hour. The atmosphere is light, friendly, and easygoing. Nice baristas who are genuinely happy and eager to chat and share favorites. Before I left I ordered a cold brew to take with me on my long walk to Chinatown. I’m glad I did. It had a good body and was smooth and flavorful. It was the perfect item to carry along to Manhattan on a sunny day.

I got their May special cake for my husband’s birthday and it was DELICIOUS, seriously the perfect choice. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, and also the best customer service. Tysm 💖

I go to good batch all the time, and first of all, the people are really solid. Always friendly and willing to talk about the bakes they have available. Solid coffee, great sweet treats. I like their savory scones, basically any cookie (try one of the unique ones!), and the ice cream sandwiches are classic

Wow! I'm so happy I found this place. It is such a cute and comfortable atmosphere. The guy that helped me was very nice. Their selection is wonderful (I went in around 6 or 7 on a Sunday and they had so much goodies left). I got a few items to take to hang out with friends and there wasn't a crumb left after we tried everything. Not a single disappointing thing in the box. The brown butter and Chai cookies really blew my mind. Prices are great considering the excellent quality of everything and the packaging they put they put the items in. Can't wait to go back!

Great service and super friendly staff!! I went in for a matcha but was handed a regular latte. The barista was apologetic and instantly made the new drink, while still letting me keep the other one. The accidental latte was actually the better of the two drinks :)

I got a mixed box of delicious cookies from the Good Batch which were incredibly tasty, freshly baked and weren't too crumbly. My favourite were the chocolate chip ones and I enjoyed heating them up in the microwave slightly so the chocolate melted a little bit 😋 Another time I had a set of cupcakes and they were also really enjoyable with lots of flavor options.

Not what it used to be. Maybe my memory betrays me, but this old-fashioned donut is way sweeter and greasier than a few years ago. It’s contrary to Mah-Ze-Dahr’s philosophy of “not too sweet”. I stopped coming here because they never had the old-fashioned donuts whenever I visited—the brioche donuts are not a substitute. I was ecstatic to see it in the display case as it has been years since I had it, but it’s just not the same. Still pretty good though.

Amazing pastry! We loved this bakery. We stopped on our way and did not have high expectations. We took some pastry to go and it was amazing! We tried the traditional donut and brioche and seriously - so good! Highly recommend this bakery!

A very cute Cafe’ with Pastries, Croissants, Cakes and so much more. Very homely and nice ambience and a very kind and responsive staff. We tried Iced Mocha, Latte’, Coffee Cake and more… The coffee cake was really nice, very subtle level of sweetness and flavor. The Mocha was very good as well. If You’re walking about in the area, this is a GREAT place to stop by, grab some coffee and cake, chill.. Definitely recommend a good place to wind down and enjoy something sweet…

Their hospitality is unmatched! We placed an order for coffee and dessert and there was some confusion regarding the coffee order and they didn’t ring us up for it. And when we asked, they just gave it to us on the house despite us offering to pay! After paying for our order, we decided to buy their famous donut.. which they also gave on the house. This kind of service and hospitality are rare and create a strong sense of customer loyalty. Their taste is as hyped but 20/10 marks for warmth and hospitality

Paid $5.17 for a cappuccino that’s not listed on menu. Small cup but nice flavor & aroma. Pastry selection is a bit limited. Looked like most customers came for the coffee. Cozy spot but unfortunately no restroom for an indoor cafe. There is also outdoor seating which appeared quite comfortable under shaded umbrellas. Service was quick with no wait… AVERAGE I say

An absolute gem! We were waiting for our dinner reservation around that area and wanted to grab a quick coffee! The mocha almond croissant (I couldn’t resist it though we had a nice dinner planned for in an hour) was delicious! And the coffee was great too. The staff were super friendly and attentive to everyone walking in. Can’t wait to go back to try their brioche donut!

The perfect winter hot chocolate can be found here at City Bakery where melted chocolate heaven meets a massive, soft marshmallow all in one cup. The food is delicious too as they prepare classic favorites like chicken parm and mac n cheese right in front of you as seen in the pics below! Worth a look and lots of seating for large groups!

City Bakery is a spacious space with plenty of nooks and tables to enjoy a drink either by yourself or with company. My SO and I arrived a few minutes before the store closed, but the staff was friendly and quick to dispatch the order. Be warned about the hot chocolate with giant marshmallow—this drink is SUPER sweet. Like, did-they-just-melt-a-chocolate-bar-and-added-a-marshmallow sweet. If I could do it over again, I would have gotten one hot chocolate to share with my SO. The pretzel croissant was delicious and warm, I definitely recommend this over their chocolate chip cookie. Lastly, just keep in mind that for two hot chocolates, a chocolate chip cookie, and a pretzel croissant we paid close to $25.

Very cute with lots of yummy looking desserts! I just came for the hot chocolate and giant marshmallow. The chocolate was too rich for me, but the marshmallow was yummy! It’s just sad this one drink cost me almost $8. Unfortunately the bathroom was disgusting!!

We stopped by around 10am on a Saturday morning. It was busy but there was still plenty of seats. If you sit upstairs at the bar you can look down over the whole bakery and out the windows to the street. We ordered the hot chocolate with marshmallow, coffee and two pastries; chocolate croissant and mixed berry scone for $22.00. Everything was delicious.

They have the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had!!!!! The hot chocolate was delicious and very rich, you only need a little bit. And the pretzel croissants were amazing!! Will definitely be back!! Also, say yes to the marshmallow in the hot cocoa, you will not be disappointed.

The best hot chocolate I have tasted to-date in the city. I like the huge space, and I just enjoyed being there on a weekday just before the rush hour. You just have to be careful crossing the street, as some drivers like to own the whole street (I almost got hit on my way to this fabulous bakery).

Great service, very friendly! I absolutely loved the corn cookie (Make sure you try it warm). The cereal milk soft serve was interesting. I wasn’t expecting the addition of salt but still tasty.

I’ve got nooo respect for a free offering for a 5 star Google review. I hateee when places do that. So the ratings are very inflated. The soft serve just didn’t quite hit. That said, “lemon merengue” is very accurate. It really tastes like that. But it kind of left a weird aftertaste and gave both us a stomach ache. For $7.50, I’d say the soft serve is just not worth it. We also got 2 cookies.

Milk Bar is an absolute must-visit in NYC! Their signature Cereal Milk soft serve is a nostalgic dream, and the Birthday Cake is hands-down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had—moist, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. The Compost Cookie is another winner, packed with an addictively delicious mix of sweet and salty flavors. The staff is friendly, the vibe is fun, and every bite is pure happiness. Whether you’re a first-timer or a longtime fan, Milk Bar never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Cakes are average- but the icing on the cake (pun intended) is the rude customer service. The lady on the phone would not let you speak, nor would listen. Cake wasn’t delivered on time and we were blamed for it. If you’re planning an event- order somewhere else, and save your nerves.

I’ll start with the good, as usual the Hamentash are delicious . But very disappointed with the lemon icing pound cake. The cake is dry and not what you expect from a well executed pound cake. My guess is may not have been freshly made. I also bought a small orange Bundt cake and found the same problem. I suggest they keep an eye on shelf life or rework the recipe

I am. Sorry. For this 3 star review. Because the staff were so nice and so chill and actually super funny. We were throwing some weird questions at them and they indeed played ball. Thanks guys. Anyway. The food is just super mid. So so mid. The matcha lava cake is good. The cheesecake in a dirt pot is good. Everything else tasted like literally nothing and cost a months rent. I’m so sorry. It also always has a wait but you can join the guest list from afar (online) which is nice.

I WILL be coming back for the Golden Toast and Harvest dessert! I took a bite of both and went straight to heaven—I'm literally obsessed with them. I wasn't expecting the butter on the Golden Toast to be a brown butter, but I absolutely love it! The milk tea for the Harvest dessert added the perfect touch of flavor, giving the layers underneath more depth. I did have to wait in a line to be seated but it was honestly worth the wait!

The golden toast is literally one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth. I had to come back two days later and have it again. Excellent service. All the food we tried was amazing. It’s quiet but filled with natural light. The perfect spot for an afternoon treat!

Back to Spot Dessert Bar and I had a much better experience this time — I tried the most elegant black sesame dessert, alongside asian desserts that are both nutritious and delicious. This seasonal menu highlights asian winter ingredients known for their natural benefits, turning comfort food into something nourishing. I didn’t even feel sweetened out after trying them all. I also tried a Halloween Special which I hoped they could consider keeping it in the regular menu!! ＊Sesame Bloom $14.95 ** The presentation was so elegant that I could easily picture it served at a fine dining restaurant. This black sesame basque cheesecake came with condensed milk ice cream, berry compote and vanilla anglaise. Its deep black hue proved how rich and nutty it was. This was easily our favorite out of the three! ＊Chrysanthemum Snow $14.95 It’s rare to see a modern dessert with goji berries and snow mushrooms! The chrysanthemum frozen base was topped with snow mushroom, goji berries, golden pear, and yuzu honey jam. Light, floral, and full of nourishing ingredients. Definitely guilt-free and delicious. ＊Ube-rri $14.95 An ube mousse cake layered with chia panna cotta, blueberry compote, chiffon, and topped with a white chocolate shell. The tangy compote balanced out the creamy ube mousse. *** We got all three of these fall/winter specials for $38.15 (original $44.85). ＊Halloween Spooky Monkey Bread Made with warm coconut monkey bread, coconut ice cream and coconut flakes and drizzled with ube sauce. I was absolutely in love with the hot and cold contrast!!

My friend recommended this place because he noticed I needed a bit of stress eating and I’m so glad he did! He suggested I try the Matcha Lava Cake, and it was absolutely amazing. I also ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte, which quickly became my new favorite. My friend and I decided to taste some Dessert at Spot Dessert in East Village. We Went with “Harvest” and absolutely loved it. The cheesecake is delicious. We also ordered Matcha Lava Cookie and some Cruffins which we enjoyed as well. Definitely visiting again to try their other best sellers.

Visited La M on two separate occasions. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Dinner: Pate en croute (chicken, liver and pistachio), Boef bourguignon, and special of the day dessert fresh fruit and light cream tart. Brunch: Le cocotte (baked eggs, cream, mushroom brioche), La complete (buckwheat crepe, egg, ham, Comte cheese), Truite Fume (smoked trout with crème fraiche), Crispy chicken, chocolate and almond cream croissant, and special dessert of the day French flan served with ice cream. My dinner highlights were Pate en croute and Boef bourguignon. The pate starter was great, very classic but I wish the pate slice was thicker though, for price point (and because I’m a big fan of this dish). The meat in the Boef bourguignon was tender with a deep and rich red sauce. It tasted like it was cooked for hours. To be honest, I was surprised by the choice of elbow past as its side dish. I don’t think there was enough sauce to warrant such a choice. A flat pasta like a tagliatelle would have been more appropriate. But over it was a satisfying dish, one that I’d order again. For the brunch we liked the crepe and the crispy chicken. The buckwheat crepe was thin and married with the classic sunny side egg, ham and cheese, drizzled with crème fraiche, was very tasty. The chicken was moist and the bacon infused sauce was really excellent. The chocolate and almond cream croissant was heavenly. Generously filled with almond cream, chocolate and topped with almond slices, it can be a meal on its own. The not so great: I expected a lot more flavor from the cocotte. It definitely needed seasoning; the airy brioche was the best part of the dish. The trout dish was ok. I hope the restaurant takes to heart my critique on both desserts. The flan and fruit tart were displayed on the counter so they were served room temperature. They really need to be chilled before serving. Especially the delicate cream in the fruit tart suffered from being served this way. The service was attentive and having a restaurant inside a furniture/lighting store was certainly a new experience. The place is popular.

Lunching at La Mercerie was a dream come true. A stylish restaurant in a beautiful furniture store is unusual especially as everything can be bought. I wanted the domed onion soup which was piping hot and flavorful. I tore off pieces of the puff pastry which was crunchy and had a balance of textures. Crispy chicken, peas and mushrooms with a sauce followed and for the high price was rather small. But after the soup, I was getting rather full. Dessert was a house made plum, apple and cardamom sorbet. The flavor pairing was unusual. I also took a chocolate chip cookie to go. There is an extensive wine list along with mocktails and coffees and teas. La Mercerie is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even though the menu is limited one can eat well. Service here was professional and friendly. Cole and Charlotte greeted customers and took me to my table. Jamie was an efficient server and Elizabeth, one of the managers was charming. There is a restroom on the ground floor and down the steps at the back. While lunch was expensive, I am already planning on returning.

We’re from Miami, and my friend booked this restaurant as a surprise for us. Honestly, it turned out to be a 10/10 spot to celebrate my birthday with my closest people. We had such a fantastic brunch here! We ordered the potatoes, crepes, scrambled eggs, and an almond croissant—every single thing was delicious. Came here after dinner nearby and it was great! The tea selection is fairly expansive and the desserts are delightful. We tried a few different ones but there were easily ten others we didn't get to try. On the way out the host gave us some chocolate chip cookies on the house which were great! I will say it was a little pricey - but the ambience and options for unique desserts were worth it.

Sweet Rehab on Sullivan St is a must-visit for cake lovers! The cake I tried was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—sweet yet not overpowering, with an incredibly refined presentation that wowed me from the first bite. The attention to detail in every layer was impressive. The tea, however, was quite average and lacked standout flavor. Prices are on the higher side, but treating yourself to this masterpiece feels well worth it. The cozy vibe and beautiful desserts make it a great spot, though I’d skip the tea next time!

Stumbled into this spot on a beautiful fall Saturday for dessert. From the moment we walked in the service was top notch. From a small sample dessert to taste of rose, to the staff suggesting we take a seat while we waited for our desserts. Now the flavors, each dessert was so different. All three were filled with so much flavor, a little crunch & a very flaky. The ambiance was so elegant. Great spot for a date night.

Pretty pastries but overpriced even for the area, and weirdly restrictive about dining in even though it’s honestly a very small place. If we’re going to pay $25 a pastry & then drinks on top of that, I’d expect a larger establishment where the to go counter and cashier aren’t directly in front of you. The lady behind the counter didn’t provide great service either - we actually watched her check herself out in the mirror for a full minute while ignoring our group saying we are ready to order. We ended up just getting the vanilla mille feuille to go which was good but not really worth the premium price tag in comparison to other patisseries.

Wow this is a find! The owner is classy and bubbly, and everything in this shop looks like treasure. Anything is worth the calorie count, but the yuzu flavors are a special balance of sweet and tart. Oh... And how about caviar and truffle flavors! With honey melted over the top in store once you order, the truffle is an exquisite experience. She was kind enough to sign my guide book, because I'm sure this place will be popular for a long time

Chip City: Cookie Heaven! These cookies are HUGE and perfect for sharing (or not!). Unique flavors like the Cookies and Cream, Cornbread (with hot honey and butter), and Brookie blew me away. Super soft and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Milk is a great addition, which is offered in the shop. Only downside: the Greenwich location is a small grab-and-go spot with no seating. However, there is a Van Leeuwen across the street if you’d like to pair your cookie(s) with ice cream. Highly recommend for any cookie lover!

Holy moly! Huge warm cookies were amazing! The 2 women working were super sweet & answered all our questions. Banana cream pie cookie was stuffed and topped with marshmallow whipped cream and the chocolate chip & cookies and cream cookies were on another level. So delicious!!

It was such a pleasure to meet Chef Umbar once again. The pastries at Mah Ze Dahr Bakery are luscious and I have been a devoted fan for many years. I have several favorites and ate the famous brioche donut with the pastry cream filling and then the vanilla choux paired with a hot cappuccino made by Matt, the barista. I took home a savory scone that I had at dinner with cheese. Team MZD of Jubidell and Julian were friendly and kind. This is the first bakery one sees when coming up on the escalator and one should stop for sweet and savory deliciousness. I am happy that MZD is open as I cried when the other two locations closed. I have many pictures of the pastries I enjoyed over several years.

Located inside Brookfield Plaza on 2nd floor, this Bakery Gem serves up coffee and breakfast parties. I am part of blackbird and decided to go check it out. It’s truly sensational options and the Service is quick, at least in the morning. Atmosphere is perfect especially inside Brookfield. I got the turkey sausage and egg on brioche sandwich with their fruit iced tea. Definitely go check it out if you are in the area and want some quick delicious pastries and coffee. I will be back for sure. Thank me later 🥳

One of my favorite places to get my coffee in the mornings before work. The syrups are house made and delicious, i highly recommend the butter caramel one. So good and pretty affordable compared to other coffee shops in the area. The pastries are also delicious especially the brownies. But most of all the energy is so amazing, the staff are always super sweet and have great energy! Highly recommend.

My partner brought me home one of their mocha croissants and chocolate chip cookies. We live uptown, Harlem, and let me tell you, that croissant made my toes curl. I had just several bites from the cookies and will give a full detail later, but this is some good stuff. Will be making a trip downtown ya'll.

This bakery will never get another penny from me. We had a valid gift certificate, but because I made a minor mistake on the expiration date, they flat-out refused to honor it. Their customer service is terrible—completely inflexible and lacking any sense of understanding or goodwill. Radha, in particular, was unpleasant and dismissive, offering no real customer service whatsoever. Extremely disappointing experience.

I’m a regular customer also experienced barista and I know the difference between latte and cappuccino… I’m ordering a latte for a reason but somehow I aways receive very foaming coffee… I end up having half of cup .. it’s a shame because I love the coffee there and I feel uncomfortable to make a comment every time

If there’s one NYC spot that truly lives up to its breakfast reputation, it’s Clinton St. Baking Company. I finally tried their famous pancakes this weekend, and let me tell you.. they deserve every bit of the hype. Fluffy, lil crispy on outside, and served with their homemade maple butter sauce that’s honestly addictive.. it’s what makes this dish so uniquely delicious. We also ordered the raspberry yogurt cupcake (light, tangy, and perfectly balanced) and their fried chicken, which was crisped to perfection with a beautiful honey dressing and some hot sauce that tied everything together. Every bite felt like comfort food done right. Simple ingredients, but executed flawlessly. The best part? Despite it being a weekend morning, I didn’t have to wait in the infamous line (which can get really long). I booked ahead on Resy, and it made the experience seamless, definitely recommend doing that if you’re planning a visit. Bottom line: come hungry, book ahead, and don’t skip the pancakes. They might just be the best in NYC

Hands down one of the best brunch places in NY! We been coming here for years and is always consistent! The food is delicious with great quality and the cappuccino always on point! Our favorites are the Blueberry Pancakes (super fluffy), Chicken and Waffles (crispy) and the Special Waffle with the seasonal fruit (fresh). The Maple Butter is a perfect combination! Plenty of indoor seating. Service is always excellent and efficient! Staff always friendly! Also, make a reservation it gets really busy specially on the weekends. Highly recommend it!

I went for breakfast and ordered the famous blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon. The pancakes were delicious — light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. The warm maple butter they serve on top is out of this world and really makes the whole dish stand out. You can tell why these pancakes have the reputation they do. The side of bacon was great too, crispy and flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sweetness of the pancakes. The coffee was good and the service was friendly even though the place was packed. There was a huge line when I arrived in the morning, so definitely make a reservation if you can or go early. It’s one of those NYC breakfast spots that truly lives up to the hype.

Wonderful brunch in a cool neighborhood in NYC. Loved the big windows. Hope they can expand somehow. Everything we got was delicious, though they are light on the salt. Didn’t mind! We started with coffee and a hot buttered rum. Our mains were Spanish scramble with biscuit, Clinton St omelette with biscuit, and blueberry pancakes. I’ll admit I have a sweet tooth but the buttered rum and pancakes were the stars of an already delicious show. We’ve already made a reservation for our next visit.

The chicken & waffles were a close second, crispy, savory, and perfectly paired. The drinks were just as impressive, especially the espresso martini. The vibe here is chic, classic, and inviting, perfect for a girls’ brunch, a date, or just treating yourself. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!!!

I went for brunch with my son. He ordered the apple pie waffle topped with caramelized apples, whipped cream, and a fried chicken breast ( which was pretty good). I had the biscuits with cheddar eggs and chicken sausage (not so good). The service was quick, which I appreciated. However, I didn’t like that there’s a $25 reservation fee that does not go toward your bill …that felt misleading. The space inside is also pretty tight and crowded, tables are very close together. In an economy this expensive, Clinton Street Baking Co. is definitely not for the people. A $25 reservation fee that doesn’t go toward the bill is wild to me.

After so many years, the classic blueberry pancake is still warm, fluffy and delicious. Coffee was too watery though. But love the vibe, the service, and the food in general. Make sure you make reservations ahead of time.

Pro tip: when you walk in, be sure to take a number—they’ll call it out when it’s your turn to order. The place has a charming old-school interior that gives off classic New York vibes, which adds to the experience. They offer a variety of sandwiches, bagels, spreads, and smoked fish options. I ordered a salmon bagel with a few extras and ended up paying around $20. While the atmosphere was cool, the bagel itself was quite small and didn’t justify the high price—especially since we've had better, more satisfying salmon bagels elsewhere in NYC for less. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, and I wouldn’t go back—there are better bagel spots in the city that offer more value and flavor.

Got a poppy seed bagel with lox and scallion cream cheese (also had onion, tomato, and capers). This was my favorite bagel on the trip and the reason was mainly the cream cheese. It was so light and mild tasting i felt like I could eat a tub of it ans feel fine. The lox was also amazing too though. The sandwitch was just perfectly executed. I wish the in store experience was a little better though. The store become a mess when it gets crowded so plan to go at a slightly odd time for a smoother/faster experience.

My brother was told about this place. Absolutely loved it. Felt like a slip back in time and you can tell this place is not only, take care of and respected, but also has quality staff that put love and attention to your order. Stopped by Russ & Daughters and it’s easy to see why it’s such an iconic spot. The fish quality really stands out — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. You definitely get a lot for what you order, which makes it feel worthwhile. The classic bagels and spreads complement the fish perfectly, and the whole experience has a timeless, authentic New York feel. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates top-notch smoked fish and traditional deli vibes. We were able to eat right in front of the store, where there is a couple benches available.

Very good place to get a cream cheese bagel and they are generous. There is a ticket system when you enter and you have to grab a ticket to be served and service is pretty quick. It’s not the best I had as it’s maybe hyped up to be, but certainly very solid. Feels like a commercial lineup with the ticket system rather than personal old style bagel shop.

I tried a smoked fish deli, and the food was delicious I had the salmon sandwich and it was fresh and full of flavor. The service was a bit slow, but the quality of the food made up for it. Great spot if you love smoked fish sandwiches! 🐟🥪

Lived in New York most of my life (currently in Vegas) and it it wasn’t until this very day at 40 years old did I try the famed Russ and daughters bagel. Is it the best bagel? No. But looking at it as a complete sandwich with all the fixings ordered as recommended. Fantastic, one of, if not the best lox bagels I’ve had. Shame I missed out for all these years. I’m glad I had time meandering around Manhattan today

We got a blueberry cheesecake birthday cake, but unfortunately was nothing like the picture online, it had a VERY thick layer of icing on top (was supposed to have little/none). Because of that, didn’t taste anything like the blueberry cheesecake cupcake and was super sweet. Most of our guests did not like it. (Note, rainbow decorations are our own!) The employees were very nice and helpful, and we love the cupcakes from here. Would not recommend the cakes though.

Good. I may have made a cupcake choice that just died not connecting- peach cobbler cupcake. It was more quick bread, like a banana or zucchini bread, but sweet like a cupcake. Expected a more light and cakey experience. The peach experience was subtle - too subtle for the name and the spices were the same ... not at the expected level. My friend got a Samaos cupcake. She enjoyed it. Worth a visit, but may not hit the mark with everyone.

Molly’s Cupcakes is the winner of Food Network’s show Cupcake Wars and rated in the 10 best bakeries in the country by USA Today and is very deserving of both! The atmosphere inside is adorable and friendly, and there’s a large variety of cupcake flavors! There is free WiFi and vegan options, but the menu is NOT safe if you are allergic to peanuts or gluten, as there’s no way to guarantee preventing cross contamination

Love this place! It was a stop on our food tour and the cupcakes were awesome! I grabbed a huge sugar cookie to go! I loved the butterscotch caramel and chocolate caramel. So much so that the following night, we got on the subway for 15 minutes each way to go back for more!!! Crazy!

I think I found my new favorite bakery in NYC! We got the peach cobbler, Cookie Monster, and a chocolate cupcake. They were delicious! I will definitely be making trips from Queens to this place because it is just that good! The staff is really nice too, which is always the cherry on top of a great place.

It’s my favorite cupcake spot in the city. Have been coming here for years now and super chill with such a charming vibe. I love how it doesn’t try to be overly fancy or Instagrammable. It just feels cozy and nostalgic like stepping back into the old days with board games and everything when I was a kid. Tbh one of my favorite places in the city and just love the cupcakes here. All the cupcakes are just too good.

The peach cobbler was good. The Ron Bennington was just ok. The sponge cake part is moist but the cream topping was waxy and dry

I have been to the city many times over the past few years. I finally made my way into this gem of a bakery. Between the cakes, muffins and pies there is something for your palate. I chose the carrot cake cupcake. It did not disappoint. There was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. There was a hint of ginger and it was moist but not wet as some carrot cakes/muffins can be. The cream cheese frosting was soooo good. I wish had also gotten the hostess cupcake. Yes that’s right like the ones from your childhood. Except these are made fresh and not processed. See photo. Thanks to the staff who were super nice and the ambiance is what I would expect of a fanciful bakery. My rating is 5 stars.

Such a cozy little cupcake spot in Nolita — it feels super homey, like everything was baked with love right in someone’s kitchen. The vegan cookies and cream cupcake was seriously delicious (moist, not overly sweet), and the red velvet was really good too. Definitely want to come back to try their popular chocolate cake next time. Only downside is that their website could use a little refreshing — it doesn’t quite match how cute and warm the shop feels in person.

Popped in to try some sweets. The S'mores bar was a 3.5/5 as it was a little dry. The Nutella Bar was a 4/5. The Apple Crumb Bar was a 5/5 and was by far my favorite. I'd come back just for that. The service was great as the staff members were super nice and professional and there was no wait.

Giving stars because the shop looks nice and the workers were decently understanding when I expressed my concerns about their brownies. The cupcakes and brownies are very overrated and too sweet. They look delicious but the taste doesn’t match up unfortunately. Everything is overpriced for a mid cupcake. The rice Krispie treats may be the best thing there though! Overall, I wouldn’t come back

The strawberry cake flavor is decent but the texture is dry and needs to be more moist. For $10 per cake slice, I expect a higher quality product. The Brooklyn Blackout cake is not good and has a weird after taste.

If you want homemade three layer cakes this is the place to be. So in love with their good humor strawberry cake and their moist brownies

My daughters treated me to a delicious raspberry vegan bar 3 years ago. I loved it!!! They have since shipped the same bars to me out of state. Came into town to spend my birthday with them and upon my arrival… my favorite bar waiting for me. I was so excited until I had my first bite and immediately noticed the bar is simply not the same bar. The crust is now very cake-like and devoid of flavor. The ingredients that made this bar my go to dessert in NYC have definitely changed and not for the better. It’s as if the ingredient list has been pared down to the bare minimum and the taste and texture reflects this sad change. Unfortunately, I will not return to LCB while visiting NYC nor ask for a special shipment.

Excellent atmosphere and attentive and friendly service. The food was good, I particularly liked the eggplant, and the octopus was also good. The swordfish tasted good, but the texture was off, kinda mushy. The chocolate mousse was very decadent.

Highlight was the chocolate mousse. Chicken Kebab was dry and flavourless and would have appreciated a spicy sauce that is made from scratch. Salad was fresh and feta creamy. Nice Terrace in a nice neighborhood. Was left with a lack of real greek top flavours but food was fresh.

I thought Eleni’s was decent but it has potential to be better it’s super cute inside and was relatively crowded on a Thursday for dinner. I loved the salad but the lettuce wasn’t washed and I was crunching sand. That gave me trepidation for the rest of the meal. The shrimp were only four and two were large and two were much smaller. The pitas were banging tho! I’m not sure id go back but thank you for having us!

Highly recommend the lunch prix fixe! The amount and variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts is so worth the $32,, everything was delicious. My cousin and I ordered different dishes and shared everything. The octopus appetizer is a MUST, I’ve never had anything quite like it~ the texture was more soft and chewy rather than rubbery like most octopus dishes, a true delight. The dessert sampler is a must, and honestly any entree would have been good as well. The ambiance inside was beautiful and cozy, lovely service as well. Also the free hummus and pita were delicious!

The service was exceptional w/ the waitress providing wine taste tests…Had the grilled squid, fried zucchini/eggplant, octopus, swordfish, orata… The squid was not well prepared and tough but the rest was fantastic. Also didn’t care for the dessert - Galaktompouriko. Overall great experience and will be back!

Fantastic experience at this Greek restaurant! Both the drinks and food were exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. My friend even rated it a solid 9/10 compared to what he had in Athens, which says a lot. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth returning to!

Eleni’s is such a standout spot! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We loved the dip spread, dolmadakia, and gigantes to start, followed by a crisp horiatiki. The lavraki was delicate and perfectly cooked, and the salmon was outstanding—so fresh and flavorful. Service was amazing—warm, attentive, and truly hospitable. The cocktails were excellent too, creative and well-balanced. Between the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere, Eleni’s is a must-visit!

WOW - the inviting smell of butter drew me right in! I have tried the kouign amann, raspberry croissant, baguette, and coffee here. My friend enjoyed the raspberry kouign amann and a latte. Delicious pastry shop, really down to earth people working there, and the upstairs is the perfect lofted space to catch up with a friend or get some work done. Plus if you sit up top you have a great view of the warm pastry fresh from the oven. Cant go wrong with anything here!

Very cute bakery in a fun area of Brooklyn, be prepared for the line outside that moves quickly. We tried the raspberry croissant and a cinnamon roll. I liked the cinnamon roll more than the croissant. The croissant was too sweet for my taste, it had a heavier topping and was different than what I've had in other bakeries. Their bread and other items looked great, I'd opt for something less sweet next time. There is quite a bit of seating inside and it's super cute, plus there's a restroom. The staff moves quickly to serve customers.

Despite the long queue and the influencer hype I was not that impressed. Pain au chocolat had very little chocolate. The regular croissant was just fine. Not worth lining up in my opinion. Cute inside and some nice seating upstairs.

Best bakery in nyc! The smell alone is heavenly! Regulars for their raspberry and chocolate almond croissants!! Everything here is delicious. We love the pistachio rose, the cinnamon role. The croissant muffins - cruffins? Amazing!! Their bread; basically can’t go wrong! We also had dinner here for my bday weekend and it was so romantic and cozy. Food was top. Love this place!

This place has such good pastries! I got the raspberry almond croissant. It was very flaky and very delicious. It was a good amount of fruit with filling. I was told the pistachio was also a very good choice people often get. The staff was very nice, lines can be long as it is very popular. There is seating upstairs for you to relax and enjoy your pastry.

Stopped by to try one of the raspberry croissants. The line wasn't too bad on a Sunday morning. I love that they have the window outside and you get your pastries while you are there. This croissant was everything a croissant should be - buttery, flaky, and delightful! Definitely recommend checking this place out - its worth the hype.

Amazing!!! A little mini Paris in Brooklyn. Pastries were incredible!! Try the kouign amann. It doesn't look exciting but it's by far my favorite! Super flaky, buttery, and caramelized sugar. Latte was also great and the vibe is straight from Paris. So beautiful, great french music playing. I love it all so much!! Get there early cause there's a line, esp on weekends. But it moves fast.

Interior/outside terrace: the interior is very functional, very few inside seating options. But it’s not like a comfy café. They do have a small outside seating area, which is nice, nothing special, but if you get a table there, you can enjoy your croissants in the sun. Food quality/price: good selection of savoury & sweet food, very delicious. I got an earl grey bun & a pistachio croissant. Both very delicious, like out of another world. Loved them. I found their food to be quite expensive. Suggestion: why not making tiny versions of the different treats (to a smaller price as well of course), so solo-visitors can try more delicious treats? Service: friendly, functional, nothing outstanding though.

Tried the Spicy Tofu Sandwich and Earl Grey Bun: both tasted really good. The sandwich had a nice flavor, though it was a bit too charred, which affected the taste. It would be great if they warmed up the sandwiches, as the bread gets hard and chewy after a while. There’s usually a line, but it moves quickly. The space inside is small with limited outdoor seating, yet the service is friendly and efficient. Overall, a solid spot for baked goods,definitely recommend and will be back!

It's not bad but a bit overhyped. The foccacia and sesame twist are delicious but the rest of the pastries are just average: - Croissant: no flavour whatsoever, the butter is completely missing - Corn cake: rich but a bit too sweet. The inside is a bit gluey. - Morning bun: can taste the early grey but also sweet, texture a bit dry - Cinnamon rolls: also sweet and dry Overall recommended to try if you are in the area but not worth travel the length of NY for...

I’d heard great things about this Brooklyn bakery, so I finally stopped by on a Saturday around 1 p.m. As soon as I arrived, I saw a long line outside — and it continued inside as well. The shop itself is very small, with no indoor seating and just a few sidewalk tables, which fill up quickly. So my first tip: go early if you want the full selection and a shorter wait. The line does move fairly quickly, though, thanks to their fast service — and the crowd alone tells you how popular the place is. Even though it was already late in the day and many items had sold out, I still managed to get a ham sandwich. It was fairly large in size. I ate it in two portions ( however, I was not super hungry, tbh) and made with high-quality ham, a flavorful spread, and a sesame-crusted toasted baguette. The bread was a bit firm, but it seemed intentional. It wasn’t served hot, but it was fresh and made with high quality ingredients. I also grabbed a slice of their brown corn butter cake, which was incredible — unlike anything I’ve had before. It reminded me of cornbread but with the richness and texture of a butter cake. A really delicious fusion. To go with it, I ordered an iced mocha, and it was excellent. I’m usually picky about mochas, but this one had great balance: high-quality espresso and chocolate, thick texture, and just the right sweetness (leaning on the less-sweet side, which I loved). Overall, this bakery is absolutely worth the visit — especially if you enjoy unique baked goods and great coffee. Just be prepared for a line, and try to arrive early for the best selection. I’m already planning to return and try more of their menu.

Radio Bakery is my no. 1 bakery in nyc. every time i go, i have to wait in line (~10-30 mins depending on which day and time). 
what keeps me going back is their unique sandwiches and pastry 🥐 they always have rotating seasonal pastry and scrumptious collabs. what i have tried— ✨apple brown butter croissant ($7): crispy croissant with sweet apple 🍎 it is not overly sweet; just enough to fuel my day. ✨smoked salmon focaccia ($15): a perfect breakfast or brunch. it is packed with cream cheese, dill, onion, and smoked salmon. ✨earl grey morning bun ($6): my all time fav. it is fragrant with early grey, cinnamon, in a chewy bun. i’d always go back for this. i was actually going for corn custard tart but it was sold out within minutes 😭 people do not play when it comes to viral and seasonal bakery.

One of the best bakeries in nyc!! I stopped by around noon on a Saturday and had to wait in line for maybe 20 min. The focaccia sandwich I had was incredible and def hit the spot. Now I gotta get up early and head near opening in the morning to catch the other pasties and seasonal treats they sell and sell out of. The peach iced tea was also very good

I'll be honest, the food was alright. It seems like a low bar, but at least it's consistent and that's great. The service was good and it seemed like all of their customers were having a good time. They also know how to make an actual macchiato and not just call a caramel latte a macchiato. The cashier also made sure that we were aware of the macchiato size which would be very helpful for new customers.

Take Out ONLY Berkery with WOW presentation. I specially liked beautiful Fig-Pomegranate Galettet(until Oct 8) There's no seating and no service... I just wish they had a café setup! Sometimes people line up. Sometimes people line up. There are a few parking spots in front of the store and along the street.

Balthazar is a true gem! They have the best canelé I’ve ever tasted—perfectly caramelized on the outside and soft on the inside. Their cookies are absolutely delightful, and the almond croissant is just heavenly 🙌🏻. Every bite feels like a treat. A must-visit for anyone who loves great pastries!

You cannot go wrong here. There's a reason why this place's products are carried by numerous cafes in the city. You might have to wait in a line on weekends, especially in the morning. They carry both regular and savory pastries and have seasonal specials throughout the year. If you are a first time, try the custard flan croissant, it is very, very good. Unfortunately only for takeout. This Place has no seatings available, nothing. Not even utensils nor napkins. I wish they would add outdoor seating. Parking is somewhat limited but customers are going in and out quickly.

Best bakery. It's an hour away, but worth the drive. The seasonal items are very interesting and the quality of the basic breads is high: kouign-amann, monkey bread, canneles, fruit tarts, everything is delicious.

Delicious pastries that you can find in many cafes. Their monkey bread was sweet and light which I would recommend trying. Their cheddar scallion scone had more of a biscuit texture. Their raspberry scone was good along with the apple palette which was quite sweet but the apple was nice and tart. Overall pastries were all good. I had to wait in line for 10 mins before I could get into the store at their opening hour on a Saturday. There's parking in front.

Much smaller inside than I thought, but a steady stream of baked goods to offer you a great assortment of small batches of pastries throughout the day. Oddly, disappointed with the croissant, not crispy and flaky, more bread like. Price is higher, but expected for higher quality. Love that some items are offered in different sizes so I can just sample. Staff friendly and nicely arranged purchase in box for transport. Will need to come back to try the breads.

Came in to New York City again for some adventure with the family looking for new exciting places to eat and find anything that stood out And on our travel to China Town we stumbled upon chip City which we didn't t know existed until we found it. By far best cookies I've had in a long time the chocolate chip was the grandslam for me . This will be on our list when we come back . Service- awesome Staff - awesome Cookies- awesome

Inside was very clean snd cozy and smelled delicious. Cookies were warm and staff was very helpful and patient. We also got delicious bagels and cream cheese! Will definitely come back to try the other flavors.

We got a chocolate chip cookie here and I was a bit disappointed. Although a decent cookie, it could’ve been more flavorful and was a bit dry. They have great branding and were nice in the store but the cookie didn’t live up to some of the other competitors like Levain in the city.

The cookies are big, soft and warm. The Blueberry Cheesecake Crookie was my favorite. I also tried the Lemon Berry and the Cookies & Cream cookies too which were decent as well. Overall, they're solid cookies and are better than Crumbl.

DELICIOUS!!! Huge, ooey goody cookies. Well worth the price, esp to split along friends. Get the box!! Cookjes are super sweet, if you dont like sugar you wont like these. If you do? SO GOOD

Love the cookies from Chip City. I love the variations and the fact that it’s a new flavor theme every week. And the app is easy to use when you want to have them delivered to you and not pay $15+ in uber fees.

tried From Lucie's stout cake at a pop-up today and without ever stepping foot in this bakery before, I now want to go and live there and try every single cake this extraordinary Pastry Chef makes. The stout cake was unbelievable. At first I was amazed by how gorgeous the cake looked. I was in awe of the flowers, decoration, and just absolute loveliness of it. Then, I tasted it, and wow, my son and I stayed quiet for a moment. That's how special it was... I soon went around asking at this pop-up (that had nothing to do with cake) what bakery this cake was from? Who are they? What magic is this? Yes, this cake was magical...I haven't tried like it before...and if you haven't tried her cakes before either, please do. I am so happy we got to and I so look forward to trying another one of From Lucie's creation soon...very soon. If the person who made the stout cake today is reading this... thank you! We absolutely loved it.

Cakes look beautiful but don’t quite live up to the hype. The frosting-to-cake ratio is often off, and the floral decorations are overdone. Tried olive oil cake with lemon frosting, vanilla cake with earl grey, and chocolate cake with espresso salted fudge, the last one was way too heavy. Portions are small for the price. Overall, looks great but taste and balance need improvement.

I've been coming to From Lucie for a few years now after finding it on IG and have introduced my friends and family to the space. All of the cakes are amazing! You can tell they use quality fresh ingredients and the addition of fresh flowers is a refreshing aesthetic touch! I highly suggest the pistachio cake, it's one of my favorites! The only thing I'd say is to try and come early because they tend to run out of a lot of items quickly especially on weekends. Also the bakery is small so it's difficult to sit inside but they do have outdoor seating.

delicious baked goods!!! this bakery has not only my favorite chocolate chip cookie in manhattan, but also a plethora of other amazing desserts. some of my other favorites would have to be the lemon thyme bar and carrot cake (gluten-free). i love how everything is presented so beautifully with flowers on top. i’m also a fan of the cute outdoor seating. highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. :)

I ordered the 1/4 sheet Victoria sponge cake for a birthday party and loved it! If I could customize the order next time I would ask they use more jam in the filling, less icing. The icing is very generous, nearly the same thickness as the cake layers itself. The filling didn’t taste like whipped cream (which is what the website said), I think it was butter cream, but all the better!

I felt a little concerned seeing the reviews about the cake being dry but i am glad i took the chance and tried it. unfortunately they didnt have a mini chocolate that day so had to try the carrot cake which was super nice. not too sweet! over all agood decision. As for the size Perfect for 2 people! Would love to try the choc next time

I’ve been wanting to visit for ages and finally made it to try the beautiful treats at from lucie- can confirm, pretty AND amazing. Bakeries are pretty much my #1 passion as a New Yorker, and maaaany disappoint, particularly when it comes to chocolate chip cookies; these were a top contender- simple, perfect texture, thin, buttery, and delicious! I also love they have GF treats that pass with flying colors. Cutest store, would shout it from the rooftops, but I’m sort of sick of all the good spots being taken over… so hoping this spot stays a perfectly appreciated small gem in the city ❤️
