When it comes to experiencing the vibrant spirit of New York City, few places capture its essence quite like the city's pubs. From historic watering holes that have stood the test of time to trendy spots that showcase the latest cocktail innovations, the pub scene here is as diverse as the city itself. Imagine stepping into a place like McSorley’s Old Ale House, where the sawdust-covered floors and traditional Irish atmosphere transport you back to the mid-19th century, or discovering the hidden charm of PDT Partners, accessible through a vintage phone booth, where you can sip on expertly crafted cocktails while enjoying a hot dog from the adjoining eatery.

Each pub tells a story, whether it’s the literary legends who frequented the White Horse Tavern or the elegant ambiance of Bemelmans Bar, where live piano music fills the air. The Wanderlog team is passionate about uncovering these gems, from the classic charm of Peter McManus Cafe to the upscale vibe of The Campbell. So grab your friends and get ready to explore the best pubs in the city, where every drink comes with a side of history and a dash of local flavor.

Cocktail bar
The Dead Rabbit in New York City is a two-story establishment that combines a lunch taproom with a parlor serving small plates and vintage cocktails. It's an iconic Irish bar with a New York twist, located in a five-story, 19th-century townhouse. The ground level Taproom focuses on properly poured pints, Irish coffee, and various whiskeys, while the upstairs Parlor offers a wider range of flavors and live blues performances.
My husband and I had an incredible time at The Dead Rabbit! It was a highlight of our bar crawl, and we were completely blown away by the unique experience. The place has a fantastic energy, and we loved that each floor offered a different vibe. The cocktails were the star of the show. I had a special drink where the bartender spritzed a perfume on my hand to enhance the aroma as I sipped—a truly unforgettable sensory experience! The food was delicious, too; we especially enjoyed the deviled eggs. With amazing drinks, tasty bites, and a super cool atmosphere, The Dead Rabbit is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Drank at the tap room. I remember a time when the tap room only had beer. I am so pleased to know they have cocktails and food available now. This place has always been impeccable. I’ve been here a handful of times and never left disappointed. I can’t remember the names of the drinks but they had a cocktail that had Guinness and it really was a standout, as well as the Irish coffee Alexander, and I don’t even like coffee 🤣. Don’t sleep on the Scotch eggs either. Best ones I’ve had! This one really upsets me that we don’t have something similar in Vegas. I mean we have bars but this one just has something about it 😁

The Irish coffee is a must-try, you won’t be disappointed. The Old Fashioned was good, though a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. The fried chicken was just okay, nothing particularly special. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had. We sat in the Parlour, which had great vibes and good service, making for a pleasant overall experience. We did not have a reservation for parlor, but still managed to get a table on a Sunday.
Maneesh J — Google review
Great Irish vibe, definitely reminiscent of being in Ireland. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. The Irish coffee was sublime and the Guinness pour and temperature was spot on, honestly can’t think of a better Guinness I’ve had outside of Ireland. I grabbed the short rib sliders to snack on and they were very flavorful and fork tender. They also have a phenomenal Irish whisky selection.

Been coming here for years. Every single time, it’s a good time. Off night. Weekend. Holiday. Every. Single. Time. The staff is always sooooo nice. Several rooms and vibes to choose from. Every single entree I’ve had to eat here is amazing. Tonight I tried the ham and cheese and later the shepherd’s pie. Both.. amazing! All of the cocktail holiday drinks were on point. I rarely give 5 stars. This place truly deserves all of them. Every single time I visit. Keep it up. Thank you!!! This a must go to for locals and

This fantastic Irish pub deserves every bit of its stellar rating. We had the short rib sliders, the mouth watering lamb chop shorts and the house chips. Plus Guinness and frozen Irish coffee. Everything was perfectly done. Super friendly and attentive staff. The decor is one of a kind. We got there at 5:30pm on a Tuesday. The place was packed but they sat us right away.
Jeffer S — Google review
Great place with an excellent atmosphere. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the billing as we were double charged. Being charged an extra $500 is a significant amount for us, and it caused quite a hassle as we had to deal with the bank to cancel the duplicate charge. Despite the great ambiance, this billing issue greatly impacted our overall experience.
Goran V — Google review
My husband and I stopped by for a quick beer after an amazing dinner next door. The space is so cool! I love the sawdust on the floor and the whole vibe was fun! We did not have food or visit the restroom so my review is based on service and the beer! I would recommend! 🍻

Pub
McSorley’s Old Ale House is a historic bar located in Manhattan's East Village, dating back to 1854. The establishment offers a unique experience with Irish bartenders and a choice of two types of ale - light or dark. The bar maintains its old-world charm with sawdust on the floor and serves beer in two eight-and-a-half ounce glass mugs for an affordable price.
A Return to One of My All-Time Favorite Pubs I first visited Mick Sorely’s Old Ale House alone in 2012, and this time, I came back with my wife. More than ten years have passed, but the place looks just as cool and timeless as I remembered. A female bartender was working the counter—stylish, composed, and friendly. I tried to order some nuts with my beer, saying “Nuts please!” (probably sounding like weird Japanese-English), but it didn’t get through… so I gave up and ordered cheese instead. What arrived was a plate of cheese with crackers and sliced onions— and to my surprise, the combination was absolutely perfect with beer. So perfect, in fact, that I ended up drinking six pints all by myself. After all these years, this place still holds its charm. Definitely one of those bars I’d love to return to again and again.
TenpuraWalker — Google review
I was brought here by a Manhattan local. If you want to see Old New York, this is the place! 171 years! There is so much history in here I was blown away. Two choices for beer: Light Ale or Dark Ale. I went with the dark. McSorley's is a great place to stop in for a couple of beers and a quick lunch. Top notch service! And the sawdust floor was truly a delight.
MJ Y — Google review
One of the originals and still the best. Go here for a true Irish pub atmosphere. Tourist and locals mixing it up having a grand time. I live in Florida and the last time I was here was 30 years ago! Both times I’ve had a blast! Hint: you have two choices of beer, light and dark. Both delicious. You come in and order anything else you’ll get grief. Come here and enjoy!
Steve K — Google review
What can I say about the old ale house? You’re wrapped in history the moment you walk in. Sawdust on the floor, memorabilia covering the walls—it’s like stepping back in time. Today was the first time I actually sat down for a meal. I had the fish and chips (only served on Fridays), and it was excellent. The tartar sauce was exactly what I was hoping for, and the fish had an incredibly crispy exterior—reminded me of Ryan’s Week in Troy. They use a seasoned panko breadcrumb instead of the traditional beer batter most places go with, and honestly, it’s a great choice. Highly recommended.
Jeremy G — Google review
Had an awesome visit to McSorley's. Like walking back in time. Both the light and dark ales were great and the hotdog with sauerkraut and spicy mustard was legit one of the best I've ever had, The bun was super fresh, the dog very fresh with a good snap and the mustard was super sharp and delish!
Tom G — Google review
This pub was everything I had hoped it would be - a true step back in time. With only 2 types of beer - light or dark - this feels like it has remained unchanged since the 1850s. As soon as I stepped in, I was transported to a different era. This is a true NYC gem.
Adam C — Google review
Very much worth the visit, great beer, fun people. Lots of folks stopping by since it's such an icon. Hard to take in all the stuff on the wall. Cash only, but there's is an ATM outside. And yes, that's sawdust on the floor.
John C — Google review
Owned and operated by the Maher Family, this is a must visit pub that's been a staple in Manhattan for 150 years. You get 2 options, light beer or dark beer, served in pairs of small glasses. Great prices, good company and welcoming bar environment. Sawdust on the floor and serious old school vibes. Strike up a conversation with the bartenders (they will) or bring your friends. Fun place and well worth the visit.

Bar
Bemelmans Bar, located in the Carlyle Hotel, is a sophisticated and upscale piano bar adorned with famous murals by Ludwig Bemelmans. The legendary destination on the Upper East Side is named after the creator of the Madeline children's books. Since its reopening in 2021, it has been consistently busy, attracting both locals and tourists. Despite being a hotel bar, Bemelmans exudes character and classy vibes, offering a glimpse into Old New York.
Best Martini I’ve had in New York. There was a bit of a line to get in on a Saturday afternoon, but I think the experience matched the expectation. We were seated at the bar which was great for having a couple drinks and some snacks and enjoying conversation. The lounge area was lively, yet still felt really intimate. I had definitely been wanting to try this place for a while, given its reputation as classic upper east side haunt, and it lived up. It was a great stop on our afternoon exploring Central Park and the met.
Christopher B — Google review
We wanted to go to this bar for years. Once we finally did - it was a major disappointment! The ambiance was very nice, but nothing else beyond it. The snacks were terrible - nuts were stale and moldy, the chips tasteless. Martinis (what the bar is famous for) were strong (so they are definitely not holding back on alcohol), but it was the warmest martini I have had in Manhattan, which is definitely not the standard you expect. Oysters were fresh, but not particularly tasty, and the shrimp cocktail was underwhelming, especially for the price they charge for 4 pieces of shrimp. Would not recommend or go back.
Nataliya P — Google review
How to get in: if you go closer to opening you will have a higher chance to get a table but usual bar seating goes fast. I always have a wonderful time here, they have great drinks. And very good bar snacks as well. You can see the original works for “Madeline” on the walls. It’s an NYC classic
Neha L — Google review
Stopped at Bemelmans Bar after the Met. Dress code enforced, no shorts, no flip flops, collared shirt after 5:30 p.m. Nearly turned away, managed to slip in. Ordered a martini listed around $30, but with tax and tip the tab reached $50. Pricey, yes, but here it feels like the cost of admission to a piece of living history. Live piano in the corner, golden light on the leather banquettes, and walls covered with whimsical murals by Ludwig Bemelmans, creator of Madeline. He painted them in exchange for eighteen months of room and board at The Carlyle. This bar is the only public place where his art still lives. The whole scene feels like stepping into Old New York, glamorous and timeless. Five stars for history and vibe, not for value.
Trang N — Google review
On my bucket list as a life long NYer. We went on a random Sunday after after a museum. Had a lovely chat with an Australian at the bar. Loved the murals and the atmosphere. It's pricey so be aware!
MOira D — Google review
This place deserves six stars. Bemelmans Bar is the epitome of classic New York elegance—white-jacketed bartenders, warm and intimate lighting, and a post-5:30 dress code that elevates the whole experience. The drinks? Spectacular. Genuinely some of the best we’ve had in the city, which was a very welcome surprise given how many places overpromise and underdeliver. The Corner Booth cocktail is a must—think Manhattan, but smoother, more complex, and full of unexpected flavor with none of the usual harsh bite. The Gramble was another standout—a bright, gin-forward cocktail with just the right citrusy edge to help you unwind from the energy of the city. Yes, it’s pricey. But every detail—from the service to the setting—screams old-school Fifth Avenue charm. Worth every penny. Don’t miss it.
John A — Google review
Absolutely worth a visit. We went around 4:30 on a Saturday and the line was just getting long but we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Service was great, atmosphere also great. We came specifically for the Martini. There were a few to choose from and we went with the Vesper. Loved how it was served with a sidecar on ice. No olives but maybe a Vesper doesn’t traditionally come with one. The snack mix on the table was also tasty and there were a few different options to choose from which was nice. Only complaint is our martinis weren’t ice cold. Just used to that being prioritized at other places, we were a little surprised they were served almost room temperature. Could be on purpose. Either way.
Matt — Google review
There is always a table available for hotel guests in this bar. The cocktails and snacks are very exquisite, the service is exceptional, the music is magnificent, and the wall paintings are a delight.

Nestled in the heart of Greenwich Village, Dante NYC is a historic café that has been captivating patrons since its inception in 1915. This iconic venue, now recognized as a landmark, offers an inviting atmosphere where both locals and visitors can unwind. With its extensive cocktail menu featuring innovative twists on classics—like an amaro-infused Old Fashioned or a mezcal-enhanced Pimm's Cup—Dante is a must-visit for cocktail enthusiasts.
Lovely spot. I recommend making a reservation in advance. I don’t normally recommend pasta dishes but they were really delicious with good textured noodles and bright sauces. The drinks were also good. I’m glad I tried one of the ‘fluffy cocktails’ but probably would get another cocktail in the future. The burger was good but not one of the strongest items on the menu.
Jaye B — Google review
Dante is a beautiful Italian restaurant with truly well-crafted dishes — definitely a spot worth trying. Even on a weekday evening, it was quite noisy inside, which made it a bit hard to have a relaxed conversation. A quick tip: instead of their famous martinis, I’d recommend trying one of their spritzes — they were more refreshing

Happy hour 15-17PM. $10 for the best Negroni in the city. We seat in the bar, and the bar mixer is giving a great service and the vibe is great. We also had the smoked salmon toast, and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend to give this a try especially on the Negroni happy hour!!!
Naama O — Google review
I had heard of this place but never thought to go UNTIL I was tasked with finding a restaurant for my work dinner. I was able to snag a resy for 6 people on a Monday night and WOW. Dante rocks!!! Such a charming interior, we all felt very cozy and classy at the same time. The drink menu is extensive, I got the seasonal Pear Negroni and it was fantastic. The food was stellar too. Overall really enjoyed this meal and the staff - I can’t wait to return!!
Brenna P — Google review
Had a wonderful dinner at cafe dante. I recommend the burrata appetizer and ragu pappardelle for an entree. Had to wait a little bit for our seats at the bar, but absolutely worth the wait. I recommend making a reservation, if dining with a party of 3 or more. Eloy our bartender gave excellent service, and was so helpful and knowledgeable on the menu.
Kiana A — Google review
We recently visited Dante in NYC and had an amazing time. We absolutely loved the cocktails we tried—especially the Fluffy Margarita and the Classic Negroni, both perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Their signature bread and butter and the burgers were also outstanding, far better than we expected for a place known primarily for drinks. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We’re already thinking about going back in the spring to enjoy their outdoor seating, but honestly, we’d return anytime just for those cocktails alone. Highly recommended!
Alpay O — Google review
We recently hosted our daughter’s engagement party at Caffe Dante and it couldn’t have been more perfect.  The food was absolutely amazing and beautifully presented.  The staff were so professional, kind and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening.  And the drinks were spectacular!  Our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was.  We would highly recommend if looking for a special and memorable celebration venue!

A very well-known bar in NYC that truly lives up to the hype. It’s famous for its Negronis, offering a wide variety of creative options. All of our drinks were excellent, and the overall vibe was stylish and relaxed - the perfect spot for a great night out.

The Landmark Tavern, a historic Irish pub in NYC, has been serving patrons since 1868. Once a popular spot for writers, actors, and politicians, it even operated as a speakeasy during prohibition. The current owner has preserved the original charm while adding personal touches like a large mahogany bar and stained glass windows.
Historic pub since 1868, Landmark Tavern is a really affordable and convenient dining option for Javits Center conference goers. My friend and I sat by the bar counter and [imo] got some of the most genuine and gentle service from Mr. Bartender.. Fish and chips were crispy and steamy, and the Guinness was smooth -- all for under $30 in 2025.
Zoey T — Google review
Foods service and atmosphere were all great! The waitress and the bartender were super friendly and attentive; my hamburger (sirloin and Swiss cheese) was delicious as well as the French fries! I also had an Aperol spritz which was also very good. The place is very clean and there are tables suitable for all size of groups.
Diana S — Google review
We visited The Landmark Tavern on 11th Avenue. The steak was flavorful and well prepared, and the beer – especially the dark Guinness – was excellent. The burger, on the other hand, was nothing remarkable. The fried chicken fingers were decent, but very simple, and the fries came overcooked. What really disappointed me was the side dish: the menu listed “steamed vegetables,” which normally suggests peppers, tomatoes, corn, or maybe eggplant. Instead, I was served a full plate of broccoli. Since I cannot tolerate broccoli, this should have been clarified on the menu. A more accurate name would be Steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli.
Artur S — Google review
Got two burgers, not juicey at all. Small amounts and it's just very dry. Even the medium rare. For $20 a burger just go to wendys. The beer is $10. Server is nice. Weird going into a Irish bar and having white linen cloth. Like they are trying to justify their prices. Just go somewhere else
Mike — Google review
A great dinner at Landmark Tavern in Hell’s Kitchen. Opened in 1868, it is one of the oldest continuously operating bars in NYC. Back in the day, it was literally waterfront property - there was no 12th Avenue until the 1880’s when it was created with landfill. We had the corner beef & cabbage and braised lamb shank - both were delicious.

I don't give many 5 stars but The Landmark Tavern gets it. The atmosphere is amazinging and the owner spent some time with us just talking. I loved it. A local Tavern with more than just bar food. Don't miss this place!

This spot is hands down the best in the area. Michael, the owner, is an incredible host—welcoming, accommodating, and film-friendly. The place has such a unique charm the moment you walk in.

Located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City, Peter McManus Cafe is a classic Irish pub that has been serving patrons since 1936. As one of the oldest family-owned bars in the city, it offers a laid-back and dive bar atmosphere despite its long legacy. Visitors can enjoy a selection of brews on tap and traditional pub grub while taking in the old-style ambiance both inside and out.
My sons were coming here regularly leisure during Covid and dragged me along a couple of years ago. I just love it. It’s about as old school New York dive bar as it gets, but the food is great, the service is fantastic and the pricing is right. I love coming here.. Our server tonight was Oscar, who is a really good representative of the place.

Nice size Bar/Restaurant. I like the Old Timey feel of the place. The prices are very reasonable. I had the Chicken Fingers, which were very dry but I liked the sauces it came with. It seems like a neighborhood bar but one where everyone is welcomed. Meg is a good bartender and she's very nice and welcoming. I would come back but I would order something else.

Very good Irish bar. Food was good and service was quick. Prices are reasonable. Pastrami sandwich was very good.

Here you can feel the atmosphere of old New York, brutal and cozy at the same time but yet attractive. The food is delicious and the selection of beers is large. The interior is atmospherically "tired" from the multitude of stories told and hectoliters of beer drunk. Ohh and if you're naughty there's a baseball bat by the whisky bottles. it looks used...

Both the cooks and servers deliver the same quality with each visit. Team members deliver care comparable to their culinary mastery. Peter McManus Cafe is perfect for dining with friends. Their portions satisfy at prices that are fair. The restaurant provides unmatched quality for the price.

Nestled in the vibrant West Village, the White Horse Tavern is a historic bar that dates back to 1880 and has long been a beloved gathering spot for writers and creatives, including literary giants like Dylan Thomas and James Baldwin. This iconic establishment offers a charming blend of classic bar fare and refreshing drinks, all while maintaining an inviting atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
We had such an amazing experience at White Horse Tavern. Even our picky daughters (when they want to be) had a great time. We took them out of school for an adventurous city day and we were looking for a kid friendly place to eat in the area. This was it. Do they have a children’s menu? No but they have what kids on a picky day would like, starchy foods like a pretzel and chips with guac. We did think they had Mac and cheese but we were told that was only on the dinner menu. Whatever, we made it work. Kids got to eat and us parents were able to eat and have a drink. Hands down the best dirty martini I ever had. They knew EXACTLY how to work with Bombay Saphire… not many places do. My husband had the burger with blue cheese and he states it was the best burger he had in the city in a very long time. I had the Clam Chowder pot pie. It was excellent. The broth could have been thicker but I wasn’t mad about it. At some point the chef came out to introduce himself and ask how our food was. The girls gave their thumbs up and we were so happy to praise him on his skills. We all left with our bellies full. To the hostesses that greeted our girls on 10/28, you guys were AMAZING. They were so happy you guys played along with them and they felt super welcomed at a new (to them) establishment that they visited. Our waitress rocked and made sure we got what we needed, especially extra chips for their guac. Definitely visit this place, have a drink, eat their food, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Nice spot with street dining, you can admire all the people passing by. The smashed burger was amazing, really juicy and with lots of flavor from the pickles and onions, the fries were really good also. The crispy calamari was also really really good, the crust was crispy and the calamari really tender. Good selection of German draft beers. The service wasn’t that good, there was only one server for all the outside tables.

I had a surprisingly nice meal at The White Horse Tavern. The Wellfleet Oysters were a bit on the small side, but were fresh and delicious. The lobster roll did not disappoint, and the fried pickles were a treat. Service was attentive and professional. Best was the great setting in the old tavern.

This experience was very cute! The tavern has the dark ambient lighting i love so much, and they really gave us a choice of where we wanted to sit which was really nice. The food was good, the spinach and artichoke dip came out cold, but we didn't complain about it, it was still pretty good. I didn't expect the bill to be as high as it was, but the drink I had was so good, i had to order a few of those. It was some sort of grapefruit drink I can't remember the name of.

The WHT burger is great. I highly recommend. That blue cheese is yummy delicious

Food was good. The beet salad is a must have. I enjoyed the blue cheese burger but my husband not so much. Hence the 4 star for food. The calamari is ok but served with a tomato sauce, which wasn't great. Certainly have had much better calamari. Service was friendly and the vibe of the bar is great. Feels like it's been there a long time. Would recommend for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Fraunces Tavern, located in downtown Manhattan, is a historic bar and restaurant with a rich past dating back to 1719. It holds significant historical value as it was once frequented by some of America's Founding Fathers and served as George Washington's headquarters during the American Revolution. The tavern is renowned for being the site where Washington delivered his emotional farewell address to his officers in 1783.
Loved it! Our group of 16 was seated immediately (we had reservations but showed up almost an hour early). There were plenty of choices and every person loved their meal. Chicken Pot Pie and Fish and Chips were excellent. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was wonderful. Historic and beautiful but comfortable... highly recommend...

I had lunch here today, great highlights and some other points. First it’s not immediately clear where the accessible entrance is to enter the restaurant. There is an elevator but I still have no idea where it is. The service was good, and food was great I wasn’t finished my appetizer and the server rushed to take away my plate away, so he could bring the main meal. I ordered the steak, which came sizzling on a hot stone. You need to be careful as it sprayed hot grease from the stone on to my hands and stained my shirt. I never had a scotch egg before and it was really good. The peach cobbler was so so All and all a really good experience and I highly recommend you experience New York City’s oldest restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant with interesting history! Lovely dining space on the ground floor and museum on the second floor. The menu has many great options but oyster seem to be a special seasonal menus so I had some fried oysters with a pint of beer and some bbq chicken wings. The food was delicious and the 2 dishes was a perfect size for my lunch!
Penny G — Google review
The oldest tavern in New York City, Fraunces Tavern fully embraces both its history and its hospitality. There’s a museum, restaurant, and whiskey bar here, and all three are worth a visit. We ordered a traditional burger and pretzel, and both were excellent; hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Service was swift and friendly, which made the experience all the better. Seating here is tight, a reminder of its colonial past, when rooms were smaller and strangers sat shoulder to shoulder. It adds to the charm, really, creating a kind of built-in camaraderie that feels rare today. Just something to keep in mind if you’re used to a little more personal space. The building itself is iconic. While some modern touches have been added, the charm remains untouched, winding hallways, uneven floors, and a sense of age that tells stories through its walls. Sitting here feels like sharing a pint with history itself. Let this place speak to you as you eat; it’s like an old friend reminiscing; proud, storied, and still very much alive.
M K — Google review
The place is absolutely beautiful — I can’t wait to go back! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Walking through the restaurant, you can really feel an atmosphere that transports you to the past, even though the design has a modern touch. We started with drinks at one of the bars (not sure which one, since there are several throughout the restaurant). The Presidential Punch was amazing! Then we had dinner near the bar area, where a beautiful show was playing. The host was kind enough to seat us close to the stage, which made the experience even better. For food, we had the chicken pot pie and the short rib pot pie—I chose the crust option, but you can also get it with mashed potatoes (which looked gorgeous when the lady next to us ordered it!). Overall, everything—from the food to the atmosphere and service—was wonderful. I can’t wait to return and explore a different area of this stunning place!
Consu W — Google review
We went for lunch for four on a Sunday. The food was good, and the portion sizes were very generous. The cobb salad was especially good, and the chicken pot pie was much above average. Unfortunately our server seemed to be assigned to too many tables, so our waters were empty for most of the meal and we waited quite long to order and pay our bill. We also found the music too loud for brunch, but otherwise the restaurant was so charming.
Rawit A — Google review
Fraunces Tavern is a place filled with history and memories. HIGHLY RECOMMEND a visit!!! There is a museum for $10 upstairs that includes a massive amount of memorabilia along with stories of the Revolutionary War and George Washington. There are multiple bars and restaurant areas on the lower levels, all serving food and drinks. The atmosphere is everything here. Spend some time and don't forget to order a Chicken Pot Pie --- YUM!

Dingle Whiskey Bar – A Cozy, Perfect Irish Experience We sat in the Dingle Whiskey Bar and immediately fell in love with the vibe—warm, rustic, and that perfect Irish charm. We ordered the Irish egg, and wow… absolutely delicious. Paired it with some whiskey and wine, and the whole experience just hit the spot. The staff was friendly, the drinks were smooth, and the food was the kind you keep thinking about after you leave. Definitely a place I’d come back to again. Perfect little gem in the city.

An amazing speakeasy in the heart of Grand Central Concourse. Hard to find on the inside, you have to go upstairs on the upper level near the restaurant. A beautiful restored bar that has decent drinks and food and great service. We got the Angel’s & Demons and Ginger’s Snap which I thought were decent, the spinach artichoke was fantastic, and the salad was just ok. Don’t think any of the things we tried except for the spinach artichoke are must tries, but I would definitely come in again and try something else for the atmosphere alone!

Ear Inn is a historic bar located in a landmarked building dating back to 1817. It is the oldest continuously operating bar in New York City and has survived Prohibition. The bar offers a selection of beers and bar bites, with live music performances on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. The ambiance is filled with brassy jazz on Sunday evenings by The EarRegulars, while other nights feature rotating performers playing various genres.
Wow, what an incredible experience at the legendary Ear Inn! 🤩 From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I'd been transported to another era – it's pretty surreal to enjoy some food & drink in a space that's been serving patrons since 1817. Biggest surprise? The food! The fried pork and chive dumplings were out of this world. Seriously, the best dumplings I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with their dipping sauce and some incredibly "horseradishey" English mustard. I highly encourage double-dipping in both and washing it down with an ice cold draft beer. The service was also top-notch. Colin was friendly & attentive and shared some fascinating stories. This place has a classic NYC charm that you just can't find in newer establishments. You can feel the history in the walls and see the relics they've accumulated over the years. If you're looking for a truly authentic NYC experience with great food, cold drinks, and a fantastic vibe, make sure the Ear Inn is on your list.

This is one of the very few places that still captured and preserved the "old spirit " of NY. Considered the date when this place established it was able to do so for few hundreds of years. The place has a vibrant collection of locals who seems to have this place for socializing., the place provides you with crayons and playing cards while you are waiting for your order, but it seems lots of people just keep entertaining themselves and after meal is over. The place is crowded and a bit loud, but this is expected from such place. The wings were very good, they are baked instead of fry and literally falling from bones. I also really enjoyed their chicken pie and fried dumplings. We walked in and waiting time was about 5 minutes, not sure if they get reservations.
Alex S — Google review
We’ve come to The Ear Inn many times for cocktails ,it’s one of our go-to spots to catch the sunset with a drink in hand. The vibe is always relaxed, the view is lovely, and there’s a timeless charm to the place. But tonight was the first time we decided to dine inside and we’re so glad we did. On Sundays from 8pm, they have live music, and we happened to get a beautiful table right in front of the band. It felt intimate, authentic, and full of life. We ordered the New York strip and a classic burger, both were perfectly cooked and satisfying in that no-fuss, well-done kind of way. The cocktails, as always, were spot on. But they do everyday special as well! Don’t forget to ask ! The interior brings you back in time , warm wood, old-school bar details, and a lived-in coziness that reminds you this is one of the oldest bars in New York City. It feels like a piece of local history , not polished or pretentious, just real and full of character. It’s the kind of place that feels like your neighborhood’s secret backyard , somewhere you can relax, hear good music, and enjoy good company. We’re really glad we finally experienced the full Ear Inn charm. Can’t wait to come back

I had the best time there with my boyfriend. The chicken pot pie is amazing!!! I can’t wait to go back. Oh, I couldn’t forget to mention how sweet and friendly Yvett, the waitress, was with us. ❤️

You are not coming to Ear Inn for the Instagram Photos (or you may be kicked out or spit on...)... You are coming for a taste of history and an even more incredible taste of food, if you have the opportunity! I watched enough YouTube videos about every place I "planned" to visit on my trip and this was no exception. The second oldest bar in NYC and the history of this place deserves it's own attention, so go look at YouTube for yourselves. The owner, Gary, was the bartender the day I was there. I did not need to re-watch the YT video to realize this immediately upon walking in based on his incredibly strong, yet empathetic and deep down, softie personality. He had all the flavor of someone who has dealt with everything and I loved it. The bar regulars were exactly that and their love for their favorite spot was so evident in their energy and enthusiasm for it all. Now, let's discuss the Chicken Pot Pie... I have always been a fan of the CPP, but there is a level of "homemade" vs "ok this is good"... This was the homemade vibe all the way home and I am pretty sure they put an entire chicken worth of chicken in it. It was everything it could have been and you could tell it was made with love. THIS is a hidden gem in a hidden gem.
Jennifer K — Google review
Reviewers mention that this place feels like the old New York City. I wasn't around in those days, but stopping through Manhattan I rolled around Hudson Square for a bite to eat and a cold beer and this place spoke to me. This is a very historically-significant bar; I recommend reading about it. The area is very quiet for Manhattan, and this space offers a cozy bar with food options and plenty of outdoor seating. Late at night, the entrance is suffused with the glow of a red neon sign and it sets a great mood. The beer selection is quite good; they have some popular favorites as well as some local beers. I recommend grabbing a pint and moving to sit outside if you're like me and didn't order any food. Bartenders and staff are friendly, and many of the patrons seemed to be regulars.

Historic AND delicious food?!? YES! We had a delightful time at the Ear Inn - our waitress was amazing! Great drinks, great atmosphere. The place is small, and it does get crowded. The Brooklyn Inn is a classic, old-school watering hole located in Brooklyn. It features a 19th-century wood bar, creating a low-key atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding. The bar offers a jukebox and pool table for entertainment. Unlike many modern establishments in the area, the Brooklyn Inn maintains its traditional charm and decor. The venue boasts high ceilings, intricate adornments, and cozy rooms along with a beautiful long bar with stools for added comfort.
Loved this old time bar. It is said to be the oldest in Brooklyn. Loved the woodwork and even how it looks outside. It's located on a quiet tree lined street. The vibe is laid back. The prices are great. There is a pool table in the back. Alec, the bartender, was very nice. It's a neighborhood bar but the people are very welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Thrown out of Brooklyn Inn for laughing — an outrageous display of aggression from the bartender. This was one of the most humiliating and infuriating experiences I’ve ever had in a bar. Our group had just started our night and was making our first order when the bartender — tall, long brown hair, looking like an unhappy Tarzan — decided to single us out and kick us out. We were literally kicked out for laughing. Our drinks were still sitting unfinished on the bar when we were forced to leave. The bartender’s behavior was aggressive, entitled, and completely unprovoked. It felt like a personal attack — he wasn’t maintaining order, he was flexing power and humiliating paying customers. His hostility ruined what should have been a fun and simple night out. Brooklyn Inn has lost all respect. A pub should welcome laughter and enjoyment, not punish it. If you want to spend your money somewhere you’ll actually be treated decently, go anywhere else in Brooklyn — this place isn’t worth it.

It has been operating for two decades and is known for its well-crafted classic cocktails, such as the martini, as well as nightly rotating specials. The bar's entrance is hidden behind a tarot card reader's rooms, adding to its speakeasy vibe.
Amazing atmosphere with a vintage twist! Employees Only truly lives up to its reputation. The interior design feels like you’re stepping into a 1920s speakeasy — warm lighting, wood panels, and cozy booths give it an elegant but relaxed vibe. The service was attentive, and the cocktails were outstanding — creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. Perfect spot for a night out or date night. Highly recommended!

A mixed experience. The food was good, but not spectacular - the burger was kind of a classic pub burger, lettuce, tomato, cheese. I wasn’t disappointed with it, but it wasn’t something I’d go out of my way to eat again. The schnitzel was a little below average - oddly bone-in, and the seasoning was very low. We also thought the bone marrow poppers were a pretty poor appetizer for the cost, and were very disappointed there. The cocktails were good and we were happy with all of them - the Isabella in particular was delicious and beautiful. The service from our waitress was amazing - she was incredibly kind and helpful, but the security and host started our reservation off wrong. We adhered to the dress code in the email, which they are strict about and I suggest you follow to the letter. No mention of shorts, however, and initially security denied us entry for the fact I was wearing shorts. As we were pulling up the reservation, they admitted other patrons in torn jean shorts, and it wasn’t until I protested that the dress code was inconsistently followed that they admitted us for our reservation. The dinner was to celebrate a promotion, and I really felt this out a damper on the evening - it’s a real shame, since our actual waitress was great!

Once considered a standout among New York’s speakeasies, this bar still delivers well-executed cocktails that meet expectations in terms of balance and technique. However, in the context of an increasingly competitive cocktail scene, it now feels somewhat overshadowed — particularly when it comes to creativity in presentation and the use of innovative ingredients. That said, the quality remains solid, and for those seeking a classic speakeasy experience with reliably crafted drinks, it still holds its place.

The Irish American Pub is a welcoming establishment that combines the best of Irish and American influences. It offers a variety of hearty bar food, draft beer, and a game room for entertainment. One of its highlights is the Four and Twenty Blackbirds' commitment to using local and organic ingredients in their pies, creating an unforgettable taste experience. Located conveniently near subway stops, it attracts a diverse crowd including young entrepreneurs from the West Village.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and appropriately attentive - responsive and not hovering. Crisp fish and chips, loved the mashed peas and the coleslaw- wished there was more of both if them. Buffalo wing were excellent. Definitely a great place to escape the heat and have some excellent pub food.

While exploring the area, I stumbled upon this bar and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was, with plenty of seating available. I really enjoyed the open and comfortable vibe. This is an English-style pub, so they offer a great selection of traditional English dishes and beers. We ordered nachos and calamari to share, and both were delicious with generous portions at reasonable prices. However, one downside was the service. Our server wasn’t very polite. After we placed our order and asked to keep one of the menus, they tossed it onto the table without a word and walked away. Throughout our two-hour stay, the server’s attitude remained unfriendly, which made it feel like they were having a bad day. While the food and ambiance were great, the service could definitely use some improvement.

Great Food, but Service Needs Improvement The pub has a cozy atmosphere and serves excellent food. The quality of the dishes was impressive, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. However, the service left something to be desired. The waitstaff seemed more engaged with each other than with the guests, which made it difficult to get their attention. A bit more attentiveness would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, if you’re looking for great food and don’t mind a laid-back service style, this place is worth a visit.

Looks and sounds exactly like an Irish pub should be. We went on a Tuesday evening for dinner and there was a healthy after work crowd having drinks. I had the Guinness short rib which was absolutely divine. My husband had the chicken pot pie and the cauliflower starter. He had some food envy.

1st time here. Place was delicious! Great service, food melted in my mouth. This is a must if in NY.

My Son and I needed food and ran into this spot. It was about 9:30pm on a weekday and not many people in there. Couple regulars at the bar but they have a dining area. When we walked downstairs there wasn’t anyone at the door so we almost sat at the bar. The hostess/waitress was covering both and she properly let us know kids can’t sit at the bar. She was very kind about it. The menu isn’t big at all but maybe that’s based on the time we went and limited menu? Burgers were good! $19 for a simple cheese burger. The red haired waitress was amazing and kind. She knew what we needed before asking. She checked in on us at the right times (mouth not full of food). I would go back thanks to her service.

If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming spot with great food and a lively atmosphere, The Irish American Pub is a must-visit! This classic Irish pub has all the charm you'd expect, with friendly staff, a warm ambiance, and delicious comfort food. The moment you step inside, you’re transported into a laid-back, pub-style setting with wood-paneled walls, Guinness on tap, and a menu that’s perfect for any craving. We started with the potato skins, which were crispy on the outside and stuffed with cheesy, savory goodness on the inside. For the main course, I had the classic fish and chips, and it was fantastic—the fish was light and crispy, the batter was perfectly golden, and the chips were seasoned just right. My friend opted for the corned beef sandwich, which was piled high with tender corned beef and served with a side of tangy mustard and crispy fries. The drink selection is impressive, especially if you're a fan of Irish whiskey or stouts. I had a pint of Guinness, and it was perfectly poured and refreshing. The staff is attentive, and the vibe is just the right amount of lively without feeling overcrowded or rushed. The Irish American Pub is perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or a quick stop after work. With great food, drinks, and an authentic pub atmosphere, it’s hard to go wrong here. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their hearty dishes and classic pub drinks.

I was thrown a surprise birthday party here. It was awesome. The service was awesome. The bartender was great!! The finger food we had was good. Lots of TVs to watch games. There was unexpected karaoke if you like that. Everyone had a great time. I have to give it 5 stars for all those reasons. Definitely recommend stopping in here.

Cocktail bar
Bar
Attaboy is a trendy craft cocktail speakeasy located behind an inconspicuous metal door on the Lower East Side's Eldridge Street. The bar has an industrial-style space and doesn't have a menu, relying on its talented mixologists to create innovative and classic cocktails tailored to each guest's preferences. To secure a seat, it's best to arrive early as Attaboy doesn't take reservations.
We love Attaboy! We'd been here once before and decided to bring my boyfriend's mom. This place does not take reservations and we knew that, so we showed up outside the almost hidden entrance door an hour before opening. Unfortunately, it started pouring down rain 15 minutes before Attaboy opened their door. The staff knew the rain was coming and offered the first few of us umbrellas which was wonderful. However, the umbrellas didn't do anybody any good because it rained so hard. The bar next to Attaboy let us in there to wait until Attaboy opened. I think that bar was called Good Guys and it was a cool place too! All the staff was wonderful at both places. We were worried about who Attaboy was going to let in since we weren't in line anymore, but all the guests waiting in line were accommodating and honest to who was where in line so we got in when they opened. There is no cocktail menu - you tell the bartenders what you like or are in the mood for and they make you a drink! Every drink we've had here was unique and fit to our liking. Your table time is 90 minutes but it's a good amount of time. We love it here!
Kaytlyn C — Google review
It was my first time visiting a speakeasy, and Attaboy gave me a pretty great experience. Although we had to wait nearly two hours since they don’t take reservations, it was worth it. The experience is fun and unique — there’s no menu, so you can describe your drink using any words, and the bartender always surprises you with something amazing. There’s no dress code. Each drink we ordered this time was $23. No food is served here, so make sure to eat before you come!
Jo A — Google review
No wait on a Tuesday around 6:30pm. They did well in marching their drinks to the what we were looking for in the descriptions we have them. At the end of the day, the quality of drinks were consistent with other cocktail bars of this caliber, but it’s a must-go as a NYC landmark cocktail bar. Two rounds for two people ended up around $100 total before tip. Service was friendly too!
Felix — Google review
Easily one of the best cocktail bars I’ve ever been to. There’s no menu, you just tell the bartender what you like and he’ll prepare a custom drink for you. I asked for an Amaretto Sour (which I’m actually really good at making myself) and his version was incredibly good. Lemons were fresh-squeezed and it was perfectly balanced. The person I was with doesn’t drink alcohol so the bartender whipped up a mocktail with ginger and cucumber that was equally amazing. You can tell they actually care about craft and flavor here. Overall the vibe is super lowkey and kind of underground. There was no sign out front. As we were looking for it I saw an old “alterations” sign and a couple stickers on the door that say “please wait to be greeted.” As we walked in, it was dimly lit, cozy, and everyone who works there is chill and down to earth. The whole experience just feels effortless and intentional.
Gus — Google review
Very cool experience and loved the concept of the bartender creating drink based on your preference of spirit and favorite cocktail (I asked for a tequila based drink that was mix of moscow mule and margarita: they created a masterpiece). Drinks were 25$ each and well worth the price. Service was great and ambiance was charming. Great place for birthday drinks !!
Amandip K — Google review
Truly excellent craft cocktails! There’s no menu, so we ordered by describing broadly what types of drinks we like (as well as ordering specific drinks). Every cocktail was amazing - very creative, and it takes a good bartender to make a drink that’s a little bit different than what I described and still somehow exactly what I like. We arrived around 5:20 on a Saturday, and waited around 30mins to get a table - we waited at the place next door (the host took our number so didn’t need to wait outside) and that spot was really cool as well. This was actually our second attempt to visit Attaboy - last time was much later on a Saturday night (maybe around 10-11pm) and at the time the line went all the way down to the street so we didn’t stick around. So I would definitely recommend visiting earlier if possible, as they don’t take reservations.
Millie M — Google review
$30 (with tip) for a Gin & Tonic is absurd!! I wish they made us familiar with the made to order/crafting cocktails concept - we would’ve ordered something unique! We asked the bartender if they had a menu and he said no so we just thought “oh let’s just get G&T” but if they familiarised us with their concept of personalising drinks, we would’ve had a better experience and wouldn’t have minded paying $30 each!

Nestled between Union Square and Gramercy Park, Old Town Bar is a charming slice of Old New York that has been welcoming patrons since 1892. This historic tavern, originally a German watering hole known as Viemeisters, boasts an impressive marble and mahogany bar complemented by stunning pressed steel ceilings. The ambiance is steeped in nostalgia, with its quirky patina reflecting years of stories shared over cold beers and hearty meals.
Old Town Bar is the perfect after-work hangout! The cocktails are delicious—well-crafted and full of flavor. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind with friends or coworkers. Classic charm, good vibes, and great drinks—definitely a favorite in the area!

Nice late night spot. Kitchen closes at 11:30pm. Buffalo wings were generous in portion but a little too spicy for our liking! It's otherwise pretty good. Key lime pie (Thursday special) was pretty nice. Overall great service though. Worth a stop by. P.S. People aren't kidding about large urinals 😂.

Classic nyc Irish ☘️ pub near union square. You feel the history of old New York the second you walk in. They have a full menu and plenty of beers. It was packed when we came and it was a perfect Thursday night in Manhattan !

We hosted a private happy hour in their upstairs space (around 35-40 people), which went PERFECTLY. I've hosted over 100 events throughout my career and can confidently tell you that they're stellar here from initial contact, booking, and coordination to actual day of execution. They're proactive and carry a solution/hospitality mindset. They had the space decorated beautifully (of the guests I saw arrive, they all immediately mentioned the decor and vibe was awesome). The food drinks, service during the event were flawless and effortless (for us). I'd do it again without hesitation.

When a place has been around since the 19th century is now both queer & vegan friendly, that says something! We enjoyed delicious local beer on tap and each person had the exact burger they wanted. The servers were attentive and kind - food came fast and was all made fresh. Definitely stop by here next time you’re near union square - or make it your destination activity.

I did business and will continue to do business with a wonderful vendor I found through Yelp. He told me that regardless of how many people rate him five star, Yelp shifts them over to "Not Recommended" and takes away the rating and review. I didn't believe him at first. I left a five-star rating for his company and highly recommended. Amazingly, he was correct. Yelp is showing zero reviews for this vendor. My review and five star rating has now gone missing. I've been reviewing companies on Yelp for many years. I've never had this happen before. This small business is suffering because of Yelp. Yo, Yelp! What is going on at your place? Why do you think it's okay to harm small businesses when legitimate, long time reviewers want the world to know how wonderful they are? This is an unethical practice. I will no longer be a part Yelp if this isn't fixed.
Tim L — Google review
If you are a small business, DO NOT TRUST YELP! Do not only take my word for it, but the word of countless business owners who have given this company one star. I registered my business through yelp and used their ad platform for about five months now. Despite being forced to conform to their marketing structure versus strategies that have worked for me in the past, I was constantly misled on what charges I was signing up for. On top of that, they took down every review I received and then wouldn’t allow me to remove my number even though I started to get nonstop scam calls from their listing. Any leads I did get through their platform either didn’t respond, or would say they never reached out to me, which made me wonder if I’m just paying for fake advertising. If you don’t pay them at least $400 a month, they won’t show your business on their platform and we’ll keep calling you until you set up a plan with them. I tried reporting these things to them countless times and they refuse to take down my number even though I was not told that I wouldn’t have access to make changes to my own account once I did I would recommend using Google ads if you’re a small business because it cost less and you actually get leads.
Kyra L — Google review
I’ve noticed that on a large number of small business reviews yelp will move good reviews to the bottom of their page and mark them as not recommended on businesses which aren’t claimed. They only leave the bad reviews then pressure small business owners into registering their business and paying for advertising on the yelp site. My personal opinion is this company is unreliable and unscrupulous. They should be investigated by the FTC.
VB — Google review
They'll hide all your legitimate reviews unless you pay them more money. Not sure why Yelp! hasn't been put out of business yet. Constant harassment from salesperson Marq Moreland. My guy should just resign. Awful. Just awful.
South A — Google review
After explaining CLEARLY that I had no money to spend, Megan assured me the $300 free ads would help. It didn't, because it was a scam. I'm out $124.45...it's a shame. Yelp has the staff & presence to actually help people...but instead they prey on small businesses. Stay away from Yelp... don't use their app...tell other businesses not to use them. Calling my State Attorney General next week. I contacted the Better Business Bureau already. Yelp, you have the staff...you have the web space.... WHY DO YOU SCAM when you could actually help businesses grow & they would be LOYAL to you???
Richard A — Google review
Yelp is a terrible review service company. They are not accurate at all! Do not put your reviews on their site, use Google instead. They at least do not censor your review.
Laura S — Google review
If you are a small business DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! They are liars and will take your money away without a second thought. I was made several promises and assurances ALL of which turned out to be lies or "miscalculations" from their own representatives and now I have to pay the price for their errors and misguidance. I have never been more upset. They prey on small businesses and take advantage of you for not knowing what you don't know about dealing with them and your account with them. STAY AWAY!!!! Save yourself the trouble but most importantly SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Bar Snack is the latest gem to grace the East Village, quickly becoming a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. With an impressive array of innovative cocktails that put a fresh twist on classic favorites, each sip promises to delight your taste buds. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, thanks in part to the friendly staff who ensure every guest feels right at home. Signature drinks like the Cannoli Sour and Gordo Gordo have already captured hearts, making it hard not to indulge in another round or two!
Interesting and creative cocktails, and surprisingly they brought me a nostalgic experience! I really like The Split Ends: although it tastes exactly like the stomach medicine that I grew up with when it entered my mouth, the refreshing fragrance of raspberry lingered in my mouth, which was a pleasant experience. Boat Snack Martini is also interesting because it tastes like a dish from my hometown, which is a chicken stew with salt and sweet rice spirit. Timmy and Emma were also very nice and friendly.

Bar
Maison Premiere is a charming spot in Williamsburg that combines the ambiance of Belle Epoque Paris, old French Quarter New Orleans, and modern-day Brooklyn. The establishment offers precise service and a nostalgic atmosphere that transports visitors to another time. Known for its extensive cocktail list featuring absinthe-focused drinks, seasonal concoctions, and a well-curated wine selection with an emphasis on traditional French wines, including an impressive array of grower Champagne, Muscadet, and White Burgundy.
Maison Premiere is truly a treasure. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported to another era—The ambiance is intimate and romantic, perfect for a date night or special occasion. The oysters are incredibly fresh with a wide, carefully curated selection from both coasts. The presentation is thoughtful, we paired up with a good champagne. Service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Claudia- Our server made us feel genuinely welcome. This is one of those places you’ll find yourself thinking about long after the night is over. If you’re in Brooklyn and love oysters, champagne , and ambiance that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a timeless classic, Maison Premiere is a must.

This oyster and wine bar truly surprised me! Even though I couldn’t drink because of some inflammation, I couldn’t resist coming here with my friend just for the oysters. Ambience: From the outside it looks like a small bar, but once you step in, it’s a whole different world. The décor is pure 1920s vintage style, and all the staff and bartenders are dressed in retro outfits—so stylish! The backyard is absolutely charming, to the point where I even thought, “I’d love to have a wedding here someday.” Food experience: We ordered the oyster platter and tried every kind they had. To my surprise, the smallest oysters (I think the third from the last) turned out to be the most delicious—absolutely amazing! And I have to give a huge shoutout to their sourdough bread. It was chewy, moist, not dry at all—honestly even better than the Beef Tartare it came with 😂. When I told the staff, they mentioned they recently got a new chef, and the bread actually comes from a bakery just 8 minutes away (something like “Woof”). Either way, it was fantastic. Music & vibe: The whole place was filled with funky jazz from a century ago, and it made me just want to dance. The vibe is perfect for dates, nights out with friends, or simply taking beautiful photos. Sadly, we ordered too much and couldn’t try the desserts this time, but I’ll definitely come back for them! 👉 In short: A hidden gem with amazing oysters, unforgettable sourdough, a romantic 1920s atmosphere, and music that makes you want to dance. Highly recommend!

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Maison Premiere in Williamsburg, NYC, USA. An outstanding seafood restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg — a true hidden gem! The entrance has a bit of a speakeasy vibe — there’s a small sign, but you need to look carefully to find it, and you enter through swinging saloon-style doors, which immediately set the mood. Inside, you’re transported to another decade: a beautiful oval bar, dim, jazzy lighting, and tables set close together, creating a lively and intimate atmosphere. Service was excellent — efficient and knowledgeable. We tried a selection of four different oysters, all fresh and unique, perfectly recommended by our waiter. The crab cake was outstanding — crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, served with a great spicy sauce. We also had mussels and a salad, both well prepared, and ended with warm madeleines that were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Overall, an exceptional dining experience — elegant yet unpretentious, full of character and flavor. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable seafood dinner in Williamsburg!

If you're a fan of oysters and absinthe, this spot is a must-visit! They offer an impressive selection of oysters and cocktails that never disappoint. The lobster is also a standout, packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy fresh seafood and expertly crafted drinks!

Had this place saved for a while and finally booked a weekend afternoon spot. Went for the garden seating but had to switch inside after getting bug bites. The vibe inside was cozy with live music, which made a great impression. We ordered a cocktail, a whiskey soda, and oysters, fresh and tasty like an oyster spot should be. Left feeling pretty happy with the whole experience!

Beer hall
Blind Tiger is a well-known and popular beer bar in the West Village of New York City. Established in 1996, it has become a go-to spot for beer enthusiasts with its extensive selection of microbrews. The bar often hosts tap takeovers by various breweries, offering a diverse range of options for patrons to enjoy. Despite being crowded, the ambiance is cozy, especially during winter when the fireplace and candlelight create a warm atmosphere.
An excellent bar. We’ve been coming here for years. It gets very crowded and boisterous during sports games, and sometimes a very young crowd with NYU down the street, but it’s great in terms of variety. It can be quiet and cozy or a real party. The tap list is excellent, the bartenders friendly and helpful even when it’s busy. 24 taps, and solid nachos!
Blake R — Google review
Awesome selection of rotating taps with a great variety of beers. Their online draft list links directly to Untappd, so you can check out reviews of their selection before making your choice. Decent prices overall and helpful bartenders. The main bar area can get loud, but there's also outdoor seating (limited) for when the weather is nice and you want to relax. Love this place.
Reed F — Google review
The menu goes well with the beer and the beer is phenomenal. This is an institution and deserves a formal attestation from the beer gods! The quirks that exist are part of the charm and not part of the problem. You will find guides and friends here hiding in plain sight. The selection the guidance and the experience is what matters and that is more golden than what will end up in your glass. Run don’t walk.
Nilesh P — Google review
My favorite bar in NYC, hands down. I came here for the first time a few years ago when I was getting big into craft beer, and had heard that one the best tap lists in the world was here. It has never disappointed, and I’ve been back about 15 times. The variety and selection is always incredible. Maine Beer Company, Grimm, The Alchemist, Other Half, Hudson Valley, you name it. And tons of more niche microbreweries, local and otherwise. The bartenders are always super nice. I’m a Mets fan and they put on the games sometimes. There’s a family tree of beers on the wall that I could stare at for an hour. And they give you a plaque on the wall if you ask a bartender to join the connoisseur club and drink 50 beers over time. Still on my way in that regard! Be aware it can get extremely crowded at peak hours. Usually it’s not too bad for happy hour or later at night, and any non-weekend day is pretty spacious, but 10pm on a Friday can be pretty slammed. Regardless, if you find yourself in the neighborhood and have the time, stop by and try a couple new beers!
MELVV — Google review

It's packed on weekends. Number 8, although I think it's the best, only serves half a glass. I don't know if that's how they serve this type of beer, but I'd only come because they have a beer with 9.5% alcohol.

Third review and each time such a different experience. Quiet and Monday so we had a nice window table. As usual really nice beer selections. They offer soda in cans and they have wine however no cocktails. Still a neighborhood staple and always good items on tap. No tables were outside though weather was awesome maybe since it was a Monday? Here now and what an obnoxious door person and the waitress Cassie I think. I had purchased a Mexican Coke and I get it I should have waited to drink it so the door man asked me to put it away and I did. Then my husband went in a got me a Diet Coke. She explained no outside food or drink. No issue makes sense. Then as I was switching seats with my husband after just buying the coke he came back and asked if we were leaving since someone needed a table?! Huh I just purchased a drink and husband has a beer? I waited for 20 minutes for my table and he didn’t try to help me?! I don’t care if it is busy not my issue. Was not usual friendly here and today before at Patrick’s day it was not! Took the fun out of coming to blind tiger for me for sure. Not sure why such a bad disposition and as soon as they asked me to put my coke away I complied so not sure why still an attitude! Just left the blind tiger where we have been coming for years and I didn’t realize I didn’t review. They have a huge selection of beers from all the country and they have a kitchen which makes wonderful grilled cheese and Mac n cheese. Lots of high gravity and high alcohol and great selections you don’t see everywhere else in the city. Always busy just two small bathrooms in the back corner. Now they have outside seating in the street and in outside structure. Here is todays board

Irish pub
An Beal Bocht Cafe, named after the satire by Flann O'Brien, is a beloved Riverdale institution that serves as a hybrid of an Irish bar, restaurant, gallery, and performance space. It has been catering to the local community for over three decades and is popular among college students from nearby Manhattan College. The congenial pub features old-timey Irish decor and hosts regular performances including music, comedy, theater, and poetry readings.
Snug, cozy little Irish bar close to Gaelic Park. About 8 or 9 outdoor tables for at least 4 ppl, including a couple of 6 person picnic tables. Was there on a nice weather late September Saturday afternoon. Sat outside with the bride & another couple. Very nice Guinness pints. Service was good. Both couples each split a burger & curry chicken. Both dishes very good. Wish my local was this good.

An Beal Bocht Cafe is a nice hidden gem restaurant! This restaurant gave really homey and cozy vibes. They have traditional Irish brunches like fish and chips, English beans, grilled cheese sandwiches, and sunny side up eggs. But what takes the cake and beats everything are their fries, their home fries are so good! The service here is also very good, the waiters are friendly and informative. The food also comes out pretty quick and they even have live music on the weekends. This place is very festive, and can also get pretty busy and crowded. It’s very old school, traditional, and cozy here! The prices are also decent, you can get meals from around $10-$20! So if you’re in the area, stop by here! The only criticism I have here is that they should just have the name of their restaurant more visibly written, so people can know the name of the place. Price:$10-20💸 Rating: 8.5/10 📝

Honestly had a great time in this bar. I got some wings and fries, and they were good. My experience was great until someone nearby was complaining about the cheesecake. But realistically, who orders cheesecake at a bar?

Awesome spot. Super cozy. Irish breakfast is a must. Lots of meats, to the point they offer ‘half meats’ for about $4 less. Even their “vegetarian” Irish Breakfast is 🤤. One of those businesses that charge you for using your card, so try bringing exact change. Not sure why they don’t give back coins, but just bring the exact change so you don’t have to pay an extra card surcharge or have to wonder why anyone would think it’s ok just to not give you your correct change. One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten from in Riverdale.

What a wonderful restaurant and bar/pub. It's filled floor to ceiling with ambiance. You get very personal service from the amazing staff (sometimes in that uniquely Irish way). The food is better than the traditional basic pub fair. They have a great dinner menu with Shepard's Pie and the lot. Today I had the Chicken sandwich with a side of fries. It was very fresh, and the bread cracked slightly as I bit into it. This is a must for a toasted bread. If you're in the neighborhood, please, please stop by and enjoy An Beal Bocht. They have both indoor and heated outside seating!

Took a trip up to Riverdale for lunch. Met a friend up there who recommended Au Beal Bocht cafe. An absolutely adorable little place. A short walk from the subway.(Up a very steep staircase) Very charming place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had to wait a bit for a table. There was a large party in back that I believe took up a lot of the seating this place has. Food was great. We had the traditional Irish breakfast and the omelette special they had. Delicious! Brunch came with a free drink. We got the mimosa. It came in a medium size ball jar! It was yummy and left me with a nice buzz. I totally recommend this place. If you're up in Riverdale or wanting to visit definitely stop here for your meal.

Neir's Tavern, located in Woodhaven, Queens, has been a beloved establishment since its opening in 1829. Despite being one of the oldest bars in New York City, it remains relatively unknown to many. The tavern gained fame through appearances in popular films like 'Goodfellas' and 'Tower Heist.' Its rich history and authentic atmosphere make it a standout destination.
For as touristy as you would think this place is, I think we were the only tourists there. It seemed like just the local tavern to the neighborhood folks. My fiancée said she enjoyed her margarita here more than at The Campbell at Grand Central. Happy hour deals. Plenty of history. Good service. Fair pricing. Definitely glad I made it out here.

I loved the service and ambiance of this historic tavern/bar I visited on my way to the JFK airport a few days ago. 😊👍 Since my friend and I were short on time, we just had drinks, but Im definitely going back for more drinks and food on my next visit to the area. 👍😊👍

I took my spouse, brother in law and sister in law there for an overdue group date night...we had a great time, great food, great comedy show just a wonderful evening. Place isn't to big but we were sitted comfortably..the patrons and wait staff were fantastic. Due to my own personal beliefs I didn't like all the comedians but overall a great show. My favourite were Aaron, Momjombo ( I'm sorry if I misspelled your name) and the last lady who resides in NJ (my condolences). The comedy host was fantastic and very polite too. Food was delicious. We had pretzels, wings, fries, burgers, sodas, beers and mixed drinks...not super expensive either. I believe this will be our new hangout spot. Although parking is terrible.

Love having a Goodfellas spot right down the block. The place just feels like real Queens history with great food and good people. The Neir’s Famous Goodfellas Burger is incredible, juicy with those crispy edges that make you want another one. There’s always something happening too, from trivia to live music, so you never just stop in, you end up hanging out.

“Goodfellas”, being my favorite movie, “as far back as I can remember”, it is sad it took me this many years to take the drive to this local Woodhaven staple. Place is definitely for locals, but felt just as welcomed as a newbie at this bar. My father and I came for a beer and quick bite. Server was friendly, attentive, suggested what food bar was most notorious for (cheeseburger) and served a refreshing IPA. The cheeseburger which I had no expectations of was very flavorful and delicious. Lives up to the bite! The two with a side of Mozzarella sticks ran us a little around $30 which is great considering the history this bar has . Coming from the city, Neir’s is worth the experience, especially if “Goodfellas” is one of your faves and you idolize the OG traveler Anthony Bourdain like myself. Can’t wait to go back next time in Queens!

My all time go to food is Caesar salad so I can only judge that food wise and it was amazing! Paired with their Pinot Grio and French martini. I really enjoyed my solo experience here. I would highly recommend for comfortable, neighborly vibes but I also wouldn’t recommend because I don’t want y’all to make my new spot too popular

The Long Island Bar is a retro watering hole located across from Monteros, maintaining the tradition of a Brooklyn longshoremen hangout. After being closed for several years, it was revived in 2013 by Toby Cecchini and Joel Tompkins, preserving its beloved neon sign and undergoing an anachronistic renovation. Despite its dive-y appearance, it has become a popular spot for groups of friends, parents on a night out, and first dates.
All anyone wants to do is fit in at a place like this. Asking for a window bar seat felt a little like I was putting them out, but food was great, drinks were amazing and we will be back to see if we can get a smile and a thanks for coming in. Didn't want to mention that we'd been there before they were born, probably. There to celebrate an empty nest and it was perfect on a steamy day. I'll try to endear myself to them next time.

Atmosphere: 7.5/10 Located in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, The Long Island Bar exudes classic American diner vibes with its neon signage and chrome accents. Inside, the high-backed booths, chrome-trimmed chairs, and laminated menus reinforce the nostalgic theme. While the decor is charmingly retro, the backbar is minimal, featuring mostly glassware without an extensive display of spirits. Music volume was well-balanced, complementing the ambiance without overpowering conversation. Drinks: 5/10 Recommendation: Improved Pendennis Club The cocktail menu is concise, presented in a simple, laminated diner-style format. Drinks leaned towards the sweeter side, lacking depth and complexity. Presentation was basic, with standard glassware, no coasters, and minimal garnishes. Service: 6.5/10 The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the visit. Water was only provided upon request. Prices were slightly below average for New York.

Long Island Bar is perfection. The food hits that sweet spot of comforting but inventive, and the drinks flow so easy you lose track of the decade you’re in. Part of me doesn’t even want to write this because I don’t need TikTok mobs storming our neighborhood gem. Start with the cheese curds and pretend you’re balancing them out with the gem salad. The deviled eggs are a must, and the burger never misses. Even the white Negroni, glowing radioactive yellow, tastes like it was invented here. Every detail is dialed in and the bus boys somehow always know when you are done even if their are fries left?? How?? It’s the kind of place that feels like yours the moment you sit down. No gimmicks, just timeless perfection. Easily the best restaurant in South Brooklyn.

authentically timeless, long island bar is refreshingly frozen in simpler times -- terrazzo floors, neon lights, spinning bar stools -- the same design since opening in the 1950's (which includes no reservations). just timeless charm and damn good food LI burger is the move: two dry-aged patties, gooey house-blend american, a tangy fancy sauce, and a bacon wheel lookin like a red onion. Sneaky how good it is -- only gets better with each bite. alongside fries with a golden crisp buzzing and full of energy, long island bar is the foundation for any perfect night in cobble hill (ultimately ending down the street with karaoke at montero's until late night). cobble hill doesn’t have many institutions left. this one’s the real deal fun fact: ramon montero, original owner of *both* LI bar + montero's, kept these businesses in the family for 50+ years (his son joseph ran montero's + daughter emma ran LI bar)

Nestled in the vibrant Lower East Side of Manhattan, Double Chicken Please is a trendy cocktail bar that seamlessly blends nostalgia with modern flair. This unique venue features two distinct areas: a casual front bar reminiscent of early 20th-century soda shops and a more refined rear space known as The Coop. Here, guests can indulge in creative cocktails—playfully named after beloved foods—and savor delectable finger foods and chicken sandwiches.
The fried chicken sandwich was probably the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. All of the cocktails were fun, inventive, and beautifully made. There were three of us, and we each tried three cocktails, so we got a pretty good sense of the menu. The pizza cocktail was a standout and surprisingly delicious. Yes, the line is long, but it is worth it. We went early, put our name down, grabbed a drink at another bar, and came back when our table was ready. It worked out perfectly. Overall, both the food and drinks were excellent, and the experience was a lot of fun. Highly recommend if you can snag a spot.

We were super lucky to get a spot at Free Range by booking about a week in advance, and got seated pretty quickly. The drinks were cutely themed by cartoon inspired characters and were complex and easy to drink! We also got the lobster bites and got blown away by the taste and freshness. The bartender kindly also invited us to some free seats in The Coop and there we got another round of drinks that are inspired by savory dishes. My favorite drink of the night was the Green Curry. Overall, this was an absolutely unique bar and definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good time and exquisite drinks 🍸🍹🥃

Went to Double Chicken Please for dinner, and the experience was nothing short of interesting. The restaurant/bar opens at 5 PM, but even by 4:30 PM, there was already a snaking queue outside (refer to image). It took around 30 minutes before I reached the service staff at the front door. The space is divided into two sections — “Free Range” and “The Coop.” Free Range serves as a casual waiting area and bar where you can enjoy creative cocktails before getting a table inside The Coop. At Free Range, the cocktails were truly unique — inspired by cartoons and playful concepts. My friend and I tried Side Kart, Pocket of Sweets, and P.U.T.S. — all of which were refreshingly inventive and fun. Once seated inside The Coop, we ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Sandwich. The chicken patty was large and nicely battered, but I would’ve preferred a more generous amount of salted egg yolk sauce. The drink menu here is arranged like a full-course meal — starting with appetizers, then mains, and ending with dessert-inspired cocktails. We tried the Japanese Cold Noodles, and it was mind-blowing — it tasted exactly like cold soba! Definitely the highlight of the night. We also tried the Key Lime Pie and Cold Pizza cocktails, but those were just okay in comparison. Overall, it’s a fun and creative concept, blending cocktails with culinary themes in a sleek setting. That said, the price point is on the higher side, and while it was worth experiencing once, I probably wouldn’t rush back. Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐️

I finally got to try Double Chicken Please in SoHo, one of the top-tier bars in the world, and it truly lived up to the hype. I went on a weekday and lined up right after they opened. Since the bar is always fully booked online, walking in at opening time was the perfect way to get a seat without a reservation. While waiting, the staff served us hot tea, which was such a nice touch especially in the winter. The vibe inside is cozy, inviting, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. The cocktail menu is creative and fun, divided into “appetizers,” “entrees,” and “desserts,” just like a food menu. We ordered three rounds so we could try each section. The cocktails are delicate, complex, and thoughtfully crafted. There were a few flavors we personally couldn’t get into, but overall, the experience was definitely worth it. We also ordered some food to pair with the drinks, and it matched perfectly with the cocktails. If you want to experience a bar that ranks among the top ten in the world, I highly recommend giving Double Chicken Please a visit.

This place is so fun with the exquisite and unique cocktails they make. Be warned, it is highly recommended that you get reservations or you come real early or after midnight or so to get in easily or else you're looking at over an hour or so wait. I was lucky to get in within half an hour and was able to have a couple of tasty drinks at the normal bad. I heard the food is good but I didn't get a chance to try it. The coop is where all the magic happens. The atmosphere and vibe is pretty dope and lively. The drinks as described on the menu, all taste like what they are. The melon prosciutto was excellent. My favorite was the thai curry that wasn't too sweet even with the Popsicle. I got to try the Waldorf salad which was also fun and great. The staff was super attentive despite the busyness of the environment. One of the best cocktail bars I've been to.

Two visits. The chicken sandwich is still top-notch, four times better than Popeyes. The drinks are very well balanced. I recommend the cold noodle, the custard bun, and the cold pizza. The layout changed on the second visit so I think the front and the back are both good nowadays.

Delicious cocktails and food. We’ve tried a couple of them and absolutely loved the Lemon Pie cocktail. The service was quick and really kind. We waited around 30 minutes in a Thursday evening to get a table. However the music was too loud: please we come here to have discussion, not to scream in each others ears.

Cocktail bar
Sunken Harbor Club is a nautical-themed bar located above a popular restaurant in Downtown Brooklyn. The bar offers cleverly-named cocktail categories and has an intimate and quirky atmosphere, giving off after-dark beach club vibes. It's the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif before dinner or a post-meal digestif. Situated on the second floor of a landmark building, the bar attracts stylish locals and visitors from Manhattan.
This tiki bar was recommended to us as a fun night out and we finally checked it out last week. Super fun! It's small, so even on a weeknight you'll likely have to wait to get in (or make a reservation?) but it's super fun once you're up there. Lots of drink choices, fun crowd, and certain drinks come with "special effects", I'll just say.
Loren — Google review
It was a great surprise! After the period-setting that is Gage and Tollner downstairs, you are transformed into quite literally the Sunken Harbor Club. The dedication to the theme was perfect without being too on-the-nose. From the menu categories to the individual restrooms and a very unexpected (into the twilight) show. I won't give it all away. But think, sights and sounds. The drinks were very tasty and not to overcomplicated matters but there's also off-menu options to explore. Our waiter, Tommy, was great! He was so personable, constantly checking on us, and again! he too was dedicated to the theme - 'welcome aboard!' From beginning to end, it was an exciting and much enjoyable experience. **if you have light sensitivities/not a fan of fog machines, do check to see if this will be happening while you're there. Not sure if it's timed.

By far the chillest bar I’ve been to! Service was impeccable; honestly the drinks were so strong and a bit of struggle to get through 😭 but I’m glad they didn’t rush us or anything. The staff here were nothing but kind, genial, and hospitable. The comeback special with the peanut butter is also something I would reorder. Really enjoyed the Shrimp toast + Spam Banh Mi as well! I didn’t expect the food to be that great. Fun vibes all around! Definitely revisiting. 💯

An amazing hidden gem. Was recently at a Tiki Bar Speakeasy in Miami (Kaona Lounge) and the staff there sang the praises of Garrett Richard (The head mixologist here at Sunken Harbor Club). I had to come check it out. Sadly my first attempt was during a holiday weekend, and was told that the wait-list was full at 8pm on a Sunday, so I came back and few weeks later and grabbed the last bar seat that evening. The drinks were pure perfection. The vibe is absolutely surreal as you are quickly transformed from NYC to a true sunken harbor. The staff were wonderful, bartenders answered every question I had about different rums with precision and deep knowledge. The playfulness of the crowd interactions when certain drinks are ordered (EL DIABLO!) was always enjoyable. The lounge area looked like a great place for a date night, so I came back once more on Halloween for a wonderful date night. Even arriving 30 minutes after opening, we were told it would be a 90 minute wait, but well worth it. Drinks were again on point and the vibe made for a wonderful night. Can't wait to come back again (hopefully I'll be smart enough to make a reservation next time)

I am a person obsessed with good theming and oh boy does this place take the cake. From the moment you go up the stairs you are truly transported to a tiki paradise. And then you order your cocktails and small bites and your taste buds are taken to heaven. Strong, strong suggestion to get there about 20-30 minutes before it opens (a line is already forming inside Gage and Tollner around this time), or else it’s a long wait if you don’t have a reservation.

Sunken Harbor Club, nestled above the historic Gage & Tollner in Downtown Brooklyn, is a hidden gem that transports guests into a nautical dreamscape. With its ship-like interior, low lighting, and immersive audio-visual ambiance, the bar offers a cozy, intimate setting that feels both adventurous and refined. The vibe is sultry and chill, perfect for unwinding before dinner or diving deep into a night of exceptional cocktails. At the helm of this tropical haven is Garret Richard, an award-winning mixologist whose mastery of tiki and modern cocktail techniques has earned him accolades like VinePair’s 2024 Bartender of the Year. Richard’s creations are a brilliant fusion of classic tiki inspiration and cutting-edge mixology. Drinks like the Funky Ti Punch and Ginza Lights showcase his ability to balance bold flavors with precision, using acid-adjusting and carbonation techniques to elevate traditional recipes. Richard’s deep respect for cocktail history, combined with his flair for innovation, makes every drink at Sunken Harbor Club a revelation. Whether you're a seasoned tiki enthusiast or a curious newcomer, the menu offers something to surprise and delight. The service is warm and accommodating, and while the food options are limited, the dumplings are a standout. In short, Sunken Harbor Club is more than a bar—it’s an experience. And Garret Richard is not just a bartender; he’s a storyteller, crafting liquid narratives that linger long after the last sip.

Finding the entrance was a bit tricky at first, as there’s no signage outside. To get there, you need to enter through Gage & Tollner and then take a left to access the Sunken Harbor Club. Once inside, the atmosphere is absolutely incredible—it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into an underwater world. The vibe is vibrant, the music is great, and the crowd is wonderfully diverse. My only letdown was the food selection, which I found a bit limited. Otherwise, a fantastic experience overall.

McGee's Pub, located in Midtown New York City, is a popular Irish pub that spans three floors and offers a wide selection of draft beers and bar grub. It is known as the inspiration for the fictional TV bar McLarens from How I Met Your Mother, as the show's creators frequented this spot for lunch and writing sessions. The pub has a great atmosphere with different music on each floor, making it perfect for various moods.
A Fantastic Night at McGee’s Pub – A Must-Visit in NYC! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of dining at McGee’s Pub in New York City today with a group of friends, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, the warm and lively atmosphere set the tone for a great evening. The food was absolutely delicious — hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite felt like comfort food done right, and the portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming. Whether you're craving classic pub fare or something a bit more elevated, McGee’s delivers. And the beer? Top-notch. They have a great selection on tap, and everything we tried was fresh and perfectly chilled — exactly what you want after a long day in the city. What really tied it all together was the friendly service and welcoming vibe. It's easy to see why McGee’s is a local favorite and a go-to for both tourists and New Yorkers alike. If you're looking for a place with character, great food, cold drinks, and a true NYC pub feel, McGee’s Pub is the place to be. Highly recommended!.

My cousin and I came to this pub during out holiday and I can’t rate it high enough! I want to give a special thank you to Joy, Andrew, Allison, Justine and Ciara who made us both feel so welcome, they laughed and joked with us, looked after us extremely well. It was as good a service we could ask for… so we came back every night of our trip! When we came in the second time Joy, one of the bartenders, immediately recognised us and started laughing and having jokes with us right away, and getting us both a beer just as quick! Andrew was also just as brilliant, having jokes with us all night, making sure we both had plenty to drink, and giving us brilliant recommendations off the menu. Allison, Justine and Ciara are also just as amazing, their hard work didn’t go unnoticed to us both and yet again they joined in with the laughing and joking, even teaching us some American jokes!! Some amazing memories have been made here purely down to how excellent the staff are here, I could not recommend it higher

I actually came here by chance when I was looking for something to eat and drink. It turned out that this pub is slightly inspired by How I Met Your Mother, the popular sitcom. There are nice touches that remind you of it, such as various signed posters and the familiar benches from the sitcom. The food was okay, nothing to complain about, and the beer was fine. The service was also fine, and luckily they still had room for one more person :)

Great place for HIMYM fans. It has the vibes of the actual McLarens as producers got inspired by this bar. Remember it is not the actual Bar. Got 2 drinks, they were sting and around $12-16. Cheese fries were amazing.

I’ve visited this pub twice in the past year and both times were amazing. Specifically, I came last week with my dad and sister. We were so excited to visit the “home” of HIMYM. There were so many photos of the cast on the walls, it made all of us emotional lol. I’d like to highlight our bartender Andrew. Being from the south and visiting the big city, we never know how people will be or act towards tourists. Andrew treated us like family. He was so appreciative of our company, he made us belly laugh often, and truly made us feel so at home. I’ll never forget him. Regarding the drinks, we stuck to Guinness, Stella, and their MkGees beer. All were fresh and delicious. Notably, it was my sister’s birthday, so she got a beer on the house! Regardless of the pub’s popularity through HIMYM, it was a solid place to hang out and I wish this was my neighborhood bar! Thanks again andrew for your true hospitality.

As a big fan of HIMYM, I had to make a stop by here! It was so much fun seeing all of the framed photos of the cast from the show hung around the bar. So we had to come here for HIMYM! We were happy with the food and very impressed with the service! My friend doesn’t like bitter drinks, our waiter could tell she didn’t like the first two she ordered. Don’t worry, we drank it for her haha! The server mentioned it to the bartender and they gave her a free drink! She ended up loving it! Our server was so funny and thoughtful! The food was good but the service and staff made our night even more fun!

The warm setting includes a wood-burning fireplace, making it a perfect spot to enjoy some well-poured Guinness and traditional Irish fare such as fish and chips. The friendly staff treats patrons like family, creating a warm and vibrant environment where guests can enjoy strong drinks and tasty food.
Yum! A great spot for comfort food and drinks that's open late! The atmosphere is cozy and has pretty lighting, and there's both a bar and separate tables. Not sure what time the kitchen closes but I ate there at around 12am with no issue. I got the sausage with mashed potatoes and gravy and it was delicious! The gravy was rich and flavorful, the sausage springy and juicy, and the mash teetered on the perfect balance between creamy and fluffy. Loved the onions on top too! Everything together made for some wonderful bites. A comforting and hearty meal for sure. I didn’t order any drinks this time but I would imagine that a tall glass of beer would've completed the experience. Maybe next time!

Great Irish Pub in NYC! I was in town for a work event and I had a day off. As a player of Irish Sports, I wanted to visit a great Irish Pub in NYC and the reviews on Reddit all pointed to Molly Shebeen's. After a stroll through Madison Park, I made it to Molly's and was greeted with a smile from the bartender. I ordered a Guinness to start and it came out cold and quick. I looked at the menu and because of the rainy day, Shepherd's Pie seemed like the ticket. My food came out in less than 10 minutes and it was hot (the bartender warned me). It was delicious and hit the spot. No BS ingredients, hearty vegetables, good size chunks of ground beef, and very delicious. I also appreciated all the Gaelic sport photos and Irish Cultural items on the walls, and not a bunch of green shamrocks and leprechauns. Thank you for the Guinness, the Shepherd's Pie, and Slainte!

A true gem and a delightful throwback to a bygone era! The moment you step inside, you’re instantly enveloped by the charm and rich history of this wonderful establishment. While I came for the lfish and chips, I found myself completely captivated by the incredible atmosphere. The nostalgic 70's and 80's tracks set the perfect vibe, making the experience feel both cozy and lively. The fish and chips were very good—crispy, golden, and perfectly cooked, just as you’d hope for. I also had the pleasure of trying the corned beef sandwich, which, while slightly drier than I anticipated, was still flavorful and satisfying. The real star of the meal, however, was the introduction to the English mustard—its bold, tangy kick elevated every bite and left me wanting more. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience filled with great food, fantastic music, and a warm, welcoming ambiance. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

Classic Irish pub with a great menu. Had the wings and fish and chips. For the wings, received 9 drums and 1 flat. Disappointing but the drums were pretty 7.4 The fish was very moist and tend and the batter was crunchy. The tartar sauce was quit nenmmmmmmm

Holy "Hole in the Wall" Batman! Molly's is a cozy little pub offering drinks and food with an old worn out wooden bar top and booths carved into a small opening on 3rd Avenue. Serving up classic Guinness stout's there's just something about enjoying a Guinness so much more in an authentic Irish setting like Molly's! The food was just as authentic, our burger and special beef brisket sandwich with onions were both served up meeting high marks in all categories. The burger was cooked as ordered, filled the toasted bun with a thick, juicy, flavorful, nice cut of meat, lettuce onion and tomato, too. The special brisket sandwich, also nice and tender, juicy, in a tasty gravy smothered in onions and piled on a toasted ciabatta bread, so delish! The onion rings cooked perfect and the accompanying curry sauce was a pleasant surprise to dip French fries into! Give Molly's credit for taking a basic dish and making it correctly in their own way, so you can enjoy right to the last bite. The lady serving(Aisling)was quite a marvel, she clearly knew what she was doing, serving up drinks at the bar and waiting tables too...only few in this business could do so smoothly and efficiently like her, almost without effort( others should watch and learn). You'll love the warm cozy atmosphere this place radiates! Erin go bragh!

Shepherds (Cottage) pie was awesome! Meatloaf special was amazing. Very large portions, though. Get there early, if you want a table. Love that the staff all sounded like they were actually Irish... :) All in all, it is an amazing place with an amazing staff.

The perfect spot to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, this place has got so much historic character! We were lucky to snag a table and were well attended to by a lovely server who managed incredibly well on such a busy day. We had a really nice corned beef sandwich with nice crispy fries which was washed down by a perfect pint of Guinness. I look forward to trying again on a slightly less crowded day.

First pints here were in 1988. Was a regular stop for a pint and occasional meal during the next 22 years of living in NYC. The wife and I happened in by chance during a recent return to the city, and hung out for hours telling stories and meeting new friends. A classic NYC Irish pub that is a step above. I cannot wait to return.

Mace, located in the East Village, offers creative craft cocktails and snacks in an intimate brick-walled space. The menu is based on specific flavors, resulting in complex concoctions like white truffle with peach rum and pea soda or Aperol with beet juice and coconut cordial. The bar's illustrated menus feature fresh ingredients and spices, contributing to its recognition on the World's 50 Best Bars list for six consecutive years.
Very nice cocktails menu with something for everyone The food was very flavourful as well and paired great with the drinks Highly recommend for a nice night out! We ordered 3 cocktails each and few dishes from the food menu In the food department my personal favorite was the croquet - it was filled with slow cooked beef and it was a very surprising bite. The gnocchi was also very nice In the drinks department - the flavours were very interesting and I liked that the menu was herb based which made it easy to navigate and the drinks actually had the flavors as described (which is not always the case in similar establishments) All and all , highly recommend and would love to come back to taste some more!

I recently visited this bar known for its great cocktails, and overall, it was a fun but mixed experience. We wanted just drinks and they were definitely creative, interesting, and delicious. Each one felt like a little surprise in a glass. That said, the portions of alcohol were a bit on the shy side, especially compared to the generous helping of ice ;) . To be fair, the ice itself was perfect: crystal clear and exactly the kind of texture a well-made cocktail calls for. Service, unfortunately, didn’t meet expectations. After placing our order, we waited quite a while only to find out that the server had forgotten to put it in. Not a deal-breaker, but it did affect the flow of the night. On the bright side, the hostess was adorable and very helpful <3 she definitely added a friendly touch to the experience. The atmosphere was stylish and had good energy, but it was almost too loud to carry on any kind of conversation. Might be a better spot for a quick drink rather than a long catch-up. Would I go back? Maybe, with lower expectations and higher hopes for better service <3

This is actually my favorite bar in NYC. We come here almost every month literally became my summer addiction. Their milk punch is world class. The best part is their $12 happy hour always has milk punch. Service is great as well. Food amazing.

Only came for a couple of drinks. One of the stops on our bar-hopping list we visited last Friday mid afternoon around 4:00pm. No wait, seated 3 of us at the bar. Very unique and curated drink menu complimented by bartender Alejandro who was very knowledgeable on all of the drinks, pairings and other spirits. Even paired special shots with our happy hour oysters and gave us great recommendations. Definitely coming back to visit in the future, thank you for the great service Alejandro!

Wonderful cocktails. Been here twice and both times my experience was top notch. We were seated at the bar the first time and the second time we got a booth. The service is quick and food delicious. Their cocktail menu describes the drink flavors really well so it’s easy to order. I recommend the Black Cardamom, Mace, Paprika.

Irish pub
Swift Hibernian Lounge, located in NoHo, is a low-key Irish bar paying homage to the lost art of conversation. The cozy and old-Irish aesthetic offers plenty of seating options, including vintage wooden booths. It's an ideal spot for bonding with friends over a wide variety of draft and bottled beers or globally sourced craft beer selection. The menu features traditional Irish fare like Sausage Rolls and Corned Beef Sandwiches.
This is one of the most beautiful bars I've been to. The murals on the walls are beautiful. The bar gives an old time feel. The shelves are actually made from church pews from Ireland. The Sausage Roll with mustard and Branson Pickle was delicious. Great Guinness pour. The prices are reasonable and there's a huge selection of whiskeys and other liquors as well. The beer selection is good. They also have some nice cocktails. Kevin, the bartender was very nice. I will definitely be back

Excellent pub that has a live music Celtic corner. Went on a Tuesday and were able to sit at the bar immediately opposite the live music. The pints are a plenty, the sausage rolls are excellent, and the pizza is decent. All in all, great craic, will be back!

Wow. This place was amazing. I was trying to figure out a decent pub style bar and stumbled upon this place (I mean I've definitely heard some good things about it before just never went. ) I had the corned beef tacos and the spicy harissa lamb sandwich. To drink I had the red nitro and the ipa with a shot of Jameson. The waitress was cool as hell, Emily I believe was her name. The food came out super fast and was very well prepared--definitely some of the best soft shell tacos I've ever had. The lamb sandwich was out of this world good. Would definitely r ecommend and will be coming back soon!

Swift was pretty fun, but there was nothing about it that really stuck out as compared to most of the other bars I went to while in NYC. They do have a large selection of lagers, so they do have that going for them, and I really liked a lot of the wall art that they had. Overall, it's an above average, but below spectacular bar.

My friends and I stopped by for drinks after shopping around. This place has great beers, lovely atmosphere, and the lads playing a session next to us were fantastic! I had an incident when I was having cheers with a lady next to me and the glass broke. The bartender gave us replacement drinks and a few extras with my mates.

Everything here was perfect! The server was friendly, the music was fun and at a level that you could actually talk, they had great beers, lots of European beers, proper gin and tonic and with tonic from a bottle. Cosy lighting, the seating was great. I love the place
Martin H — Google review
This is a cozy pub with Guinness-inspired art on the walls. I think it was short staffed because it led to a lot of lines and people crowding around us at the bar trying to order. The music was great though (think: grungy/alt rock throwbacks) so I would go back but maybe sit at a table or in the second room in the back.
Gigi B — Google review
The most delicious corned beef sandwich I ever ate! (Not the biggest fan of corned beef, but after seeing someone else devouring this at the bar I got tempted!). The meat is lean, cooked and slabbed between two pieces of marbled bread, with red slaw and a spicy mustard. Comes with a bed of arugula that has the slightest dressing, and some potato chips. They have a handful of draft beers and the place is cozy and cute. If you sit at the bar, you can watch them prepare the food in the tiniest corner of the room, quite intriguing!

Walker's is a laid-back spot in the neighborhood, offering classic American bar food in a cozy dining room with dark wood accents. The place is adorned with photographs of patrons and staff, and features a bustling bar area as well as a back space with tables covered in paper tablecloths and crayons for doodling. Professionals often stop by for the excellent hamburger during lunch, while others come to enjoy drinks like Guinness.
After seeing the Ghostbusters HQ across the street, my friend and I were hungry. We had walked over 20K steps in the city, so food and drink were next on the list. I saw Walkers across the street and we made our way over there. We sat at the bar and the very lively bartender, Steve, was such a great person to assist us. My friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi; she was ate every last bite. The guy next to us ordered the side of fries; they were cooked to perfection! I went with an order of chili cheese fries; side of fries with chili + cheese. I was surprised by the neat of the chili! The 2 Gents who were next to us at the bar gave us a new list of things to see in the city, since they are both natives of the area. Overall, we will be stopping by this place when we are in the area.

Thanks to our server for fitting us in on a very busy Friday night. It was really loud in the main room luckily we were led to the second much quieter room. Service was excellent. Our food arrived quickly & we were provided with crayons & a paper table cloth to have some fun whilst we waited. I had the Mac and cheese which was comfort food.

I’ve come here many times over the years, and I always had a soft spot for it, but recently their food has gone so down hill. On my most recent visit (and maybe last for a long time), I ordered the steak au poivre, which was absolute trash. The cut of the meat was god awful—riddled with not fat but inedible cartilage—and it was not cooked to order. Between that, the side of mashed potatoes and broccoli, I assumed this was microwaved. Service was pretty bad too, but I will almost always forgive that aspect if the food is actually worth eating.

The bartender John is a top shelf old school bartender. Great conversationalist, very friendly, and great at his job. I can only attest to the burger since this is what I ordered, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, but the food I saw going out generally looked great. This place is a homerun!

Superbueno is a vibrant and lively bar located in the East Village, known for its high energy atmosphere and enthusiastic staff. The bar features tiny luchador masks and neon lighting, creating a fun and celebratory ambiance. The drinks menu offers fantastic options, including unique concoctions like mole-washed mezcal, birria broth, and chili de arbol. Mexican snacks such as the fish tostada are highly recommended.
This Mexican bar delivers on flavor and fun! The food was delicious—flavorful plates that hit the spot, and the drinks were strong with a generous pour of alcohol. Great spot if you’re looking to indulge in bold flavors and a solid buzz. The only downside was the service—staff came off a bit pushy, and there was a time limit on our table that wasn’t mentioned upfront, which was a little frustrating. Still, despite that hiccup, the overall vibe and quality make it worth checking out. Definitely a good place for a lively night out with friends!

We had almost every drink on the menu. I would say my favorites were the tamarind milk punch and the vodka y soda. But they were all so good, there wasn’t one I didn’t like. Our bartender was so sweet and fun! They also like to have fun music and play with the lights. I would love to get food next time. It was a fun spot
Neha L — Google review
Superbueno feels like a portal, one step off Houston and suddenly you’re somewhere in Mexico City, but not the postcard version. The late-night, neon-lit one where the air hums with mezcal and birria. The cocktails are wild but disciplined. The huitlacoche drink is earthy and elegant, like drinking the forest floor after a summer rain, in the best possible way. The clarified milk punch is a fun one. Silky, balanced, with that subtle sweetness that entices but doesn't overwhelm. The roasted corn cocktail tastes like someone liquefied elote and added sparkles. And the mango one, bright, sharp, tropical, reminds you that summer is gone but it'll come back someday. The food? Tacos that make you forget every sad tortilla you’ve ever had north of the border and a birria sandwich that’s pure, slow-braised bliss. Rich, messy, and perfect.
C C — Google review
This bar is super fun and the atmosphere is very colorful and Latin vibes. I got the the vodka soda (guava) per the recc from the bartender over at double chicken please. It was excellent..I wish I had enough stomach to try the mole negroni which sounds interesting along with the mushroom margarita that uses huitlacoche which sounds wild. The bartenders and wait staff were super nice and friendly and talkative when available. Definitely deserving of its status as one of the best bars in the world.
Jimmy S — Google review
We stopped by Superbueno for an easy afternoon drink, and it turned out to be one of those surprisingly relaxing moments in the city. The warm yellow light coming through the windows made the whole bar feel soft and cinematic, and it instantly slowed everything down. We tried four cocktails, each very different but all quite approachable: • Roasted Corn Sour – Smooth, creamy on the surface, but finishes clean. It doesn’t feel heavy at all and the flavor gets better the more you drink it. • Mushroom Margarita – A gentle mushroom aroma that sounds unusual but works beautifully. Balanced, not too sour, not too earthy. • Green Mango Martini – Light, refreshing, and fragrant. Sweet in a clean way, not syrupy or artificial. Easy to sip and very enjoyable. • Mole Negroni – Softer and rounder than a classic Negroni, with less sweetness and a subtle bitterness. Perfect for people who usually can’t handle strong, heavy Negronis. None of the drinks tasted overly strong, but they were smooth enough that we were already a bit buzzed after two glasses. The portions are noticeably larger than many NYC bars, which makes the experience feel more relaxed and less rushed. The bartender was focused and friendly, and the whole atmosphere felt comfortable—no long lines, no pressure, just a good place to slow down for a while. If you like thoughtful, layered cocktails and a calm afternoon vibe, this spot is worth checking out

The negative reviews are only one off experiences. Everyone in this bar is having a great time. The music is great, the bartenders are gracious and kind. The pork belly tacos are something to write home about. The cocktails!! Don’t get me started. The roasted corn skirt is by far one of the best cocktails I’ve had in New York. Come here, it was voted a top 50 bar for a reason.

Superbueno is rated one of the best bars in the US and it is well deserved. Service and cocktails were outstanding. Food was good as well but it didn't stand out as much to me, although we only got a couple things. Even for being basically always full, there was little wait for anything and bartenders even had the chance to talk sometimes. Price wasn't bad either for such a highly rated bar in NY. Meanwhile, Guzzle on the upper level provides a lively atmosphere with nostalgic and innovative drinks alongside a comfort food menu. The woodwork adorned walls of Sip create an intimate setting resembling a ship, while Guzzle offers a high-energy bar experience.
I had such a great experience at this bar! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with just the right balance of lively energy and cozy comfort. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive – you can really tell they enjoy what they do. The drink menu is outstanding: creative cocktails with balanced with kitchen bites. My cocktails was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented.

A friend recommended this spot, so I visited on a weekday afternoon. I didn’t realize the menus were different upstairs and downstairs, but since there was no line, I went downstairs and sat at the bar. It was my first time in the basement, and I really liked the atmosphere, the cocktails were great too. The Tomato Tree was especially memorable, almost like drinking a salad. The only downside was that when orders came in, the bartender seemed to adjust the pour sizes at their own discretion. From where I was sitting at the bar, I could see that my cocktail had noticeably less than others, which felt a bit disappointing given the price.

Saturday night and you’re just walking around the neighborhood trying to find a spot to have some drinks and chat it up with friends. Ooohhh la la… Sip & Guzzle for the win but it’s packed to the brim. This is the place to be. We asked the doorman if there’s a chance we could get in but it’s only stand room available. We will take it! Just by chance, I asked the best hostess I’ve encountered (Cindy) if she had a table for 3. She is exactly what you need when you enter an upscale establishment such as Sip & Guzzle. She was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She politely asked for a few minutes and then she said please follow me. She led us down these stairs then open a glass door and to our surprise it was another seated area with a bar. We couldn’t wait to sit and order our drinks. The serving staff were so professional, the bar alchemist was dressed to the 9, nicely with suspenders and a tie. Now let’s talk drinks and food. The CHICKEN CHIPS with SALSA 18 and MOCHI FRENCH FRY gets Chef kisses all around… Drinks were top tier and deserved a round of applause. So, if you’re ever in need of an astonishingly creative cocktail, amazingly friendly staff ( Cindy) and bask in the warmest ambiance then SIP & GUZZLE is the place to go.

Highly recommend Sip! Beautiful interiors, every details well thought out. The Tomato cocktail and the Strawberry Hot Pot cocktails were stand outs. Also loved the foie gras on milk toast, electric chicken and the potato salad. Upstairs at Guzzle is much more loud and crowded.

Drinks only review - I did not have food. Last night (Wednesday in September) I wandered by Sip & Guzzle around 9pm. It looked like a nice vibe so I walked in and asked the bartender if they had any good whiskey based drinks. He recommended and made me a peanut butter Wagyu old fashioned. The drink was very well made and unique. The bartender, Steve, was very professional and nice. Turns out the upstairs entry area is called "Guzzle" - it was a very nice bar scene and a good crowd. I went downstairs to find the restroom and discovered kind of a Japanese style speakeasy downstairs called "Sip." The hostess, Emma, saw me peering into "Sip" and asked me if I would like a seat. I ended up sitting at the bar and was blown away by the experience. The cocktails were so unique and well made. They even had a specially made beer that was a rice lager with Yuzu. I am a total beer snob from Los Angeles because my wife is a brewer and on the board of the California Homebrewers Association, so she requires me to be a beer snob. The Yuzu rice lager was one of the best beers I have had. So refreshing with just the right amount of Yuzu to maintain the quality of beer as opposed to drinking straight Yuzu juice. David, Damond, and Randy were the bartenders downstairs and they were absolutely amazing and took the experience to another level. Great drinks and great vibe. Highly recommend.

Such a fun dining experience! Every starter we ordered was super unique and I can safely say, nothing that any of us had had before. Highly recommend the crispy rice uni (that was my favorite), the mochi fry and the chips and salsa. The thinnest sandwich was super unique, but we didn’t love the flavors. The main dishes werea bit of a let down after such unique starters. The beef was delicious, but nothing special and the lightning chicken really didn’t deserve the “lightning” descriptor. I was also a bit disappointed by the addictive cabbage-it was good, but nothing special. Drinks were delicious as well and our table’s absolute favorite was the one with Szechuan pepper oil. I wish I could replicate this at home! The service was fantastic and really added to the whole experience. We were in the main restaurant, Guzzle, and the overall atmosphere didn’t really fit the unique vibe of the food/drinks. It was very plain and uninteresting. Maybe Sip downstairs is more aesthetically unique.

Good selection of craft beer and a nice atmosphere in a great Harlem location. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I got to try some beers here that you can barely find anywhere else, which was a nice surprise. Overall, a great spot to enjoy good beer and relax.

I learned about this place by pure happenstance. I met one of the owners at my job and she was the absolute nicest person. I finally got a chance to stop by today and it was everything. There's an outdoor area tables that are towards the back and a very long bar. Not long enough that you'll be forgotten by the bartender but long enough that you won't overhear the conversations of people next to you. The whole place is a vibe from the dark tone of the wood to the mellow lighting...even the fixtures were just super inviting. The staff are superb and the food is even better. There were I believe 15 beers in tap and they also had wine. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!! If I could give more than five stars I would.

Best Irish pub around. Great service. Great people. Proprietor is super chill. Live music nightly ranging from bluegrass to classic Celtic melodies. There's open mic too. Sound system was professionally installed and calibrated. Pool table in the back. Highly recommended.

We are in the party room so.food was catered from another place the drinks from the bar were good and not so strong whisky sours. No milk drinks. No irish coffee. I would have liked that the band by the bar that night was a little loud for me but we didn't hear it from the party room. Decent space lacking more tables ..maybe they need space for dancing

Old School NYC Irish Pub. Great Place to grab a Guinness. Bartenders are welcoming and friendly. Happy Hour will score you your Vitamin G for $8. History decorates the walls, and they did a wonderful job decorating for the Holidays. The music is always good! Will return!

Took a min to get a drink but that's because the place was packed but a bartender walked past me but didn't stop at me and went to someone else. I had to wait for another bartender but once I got a drink, it was a good drink. The atmosphere is very lively and active. Good conversation with people and live music. Definitely going back soon!

If you are looking for a place that has great quality open mics and live entertainment, this is it. The musicians were amazing and the crowd was receptive and I had a blast playing my original music and cover songs. Bar service was excellent and our parking was within two blocks, Free after 7pm.

If you’re looking for a spot that perfectly captures the spirit of live music, great vibes, and an authentic Irish atmosphere, Paddy Reilly’s Music Bar is the place to be. What sets Paddy Reilly’s apart is its dedication to live music and the friendly staff who are always ready to pour you a perfect pint of Guinness & speaking of Guinness, this might just be one of the best pours in the city. The crowd at Paddy Reilly’s is a great mix of locals, tourists, and music enthusiasts. Paddy Reilly’s is a must-visit. It’s a rare find in NYC’s nightlife scene and one that will keep you coming back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Irish bar with live music every night. No cover, no minimum the night I was there, but I don't know if that's true every night. We had a wonderful time, and I plan to go again next time I'm in the city.
Karen B — Google review
A fine friend lead us to Paddy’s as part of an NYC Guinness tour. The pour was perfect and the draft fresh, just the right amount of wateriness. Add on top of that the warm lit and wooden environs, and it’s a recipe for magic. Sad to find out that they will be closing their doors for good at the end of March. Def worth a stop in to pay respects.

Bar
The King Cole Bar is a grand and historic establishment within The St. Regis New York, renowned for its classic cocktails and distinguished ambience. Located in the heart of Manhattan, this iconic bar boasts a famous Maxfield Parrish mural as its backdrop. It proudly claims to be the first American bar to serve the infamous Bloody Mary, known here as the Red Snapper.
I finally visited the legendary King Cole Bar at The St. Regis, the birthplace of the Bloody Mary, and it lived up to its reputation. Tucked inside the beautiful St. Regis Hotel, this iconic bar opens at 4 PM, and it’s best to arrive early if you want to secure a seat it’s a popular spot for both drinks and light bites. I ordered the Meze Plate, the classic Bloody Mary, and an Espresso Martini. Everything was excellent beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. The service was attentive and polished, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The bar itself has a timeless elegance, with an atmosphere that blends old New York glamour and modern comfort. A must-visit if you want a classic cocktail experience in Manhattan.
Uranus K — Google review
We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks, specifically the "Jazz me Blues" and the "Best Address." Both cocktails were expertly crafted, however, the presentation could have been slightly enhanced. The accompanying snacks were a delightful touch, with the beetroot chips being a particular standout.
Enakshi K — Google review
A lovely spot with incredible service and darn good cocktails. If you're into sweet drinks served in a martini glass, try the tasty Blue Jazz. I had a champagne-based cocktail—can’t recall the name—but it was absolutely perfect. Be warned, it's pricey. Our two cocktails cost over $100! We had planned to eat here as well, but... well, see below for why we didn’t. I wish I could give it five stars, but I just can’t. The music was so loud we couldn’t carry on a normal conversation. Everyone around us was yelling just to be heard, and I overheard several people complaining about the volume. Someone even asked the bartender to turn it down, but the response (if I heard correctly) was that management was trying to attract a younger crowd. It’s a real shame, because the last time I visited a few years ago, it was such an enjoyable experience. I couldn’t wait to bring my husband back—but sadly, this visit didn’t live up to the memory.
Jennifer G — Google review
The bar inside is so beautiful and the lounge is great too if you want more space and seating. We came here to try the Bloody Mary and I loved how many you could try. We got the most popular one but I want to go back to try more. The bar snacks were so good too. It would have been a wonderful experience but the service was absolutely horrible. No one checked on us and if I needed something I had to keep getting up to ask.
Neha L — Google review
FANTASTIC! I'm a travel writer (National Geographic, Washington Post, etc.) and I've been all over the world. For my birthday, I took several family members here for drinks to celebrate. The service was IMPECCABLE. The servers went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. They were warm and welcoming. This is not a stuffy bar with pretentious servers. We truly had a great time! Would come back.

I visited the King Cole Bar at the St. Regis, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is elegant and classic, with just the right mix of history and charm. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making the whole visit feel special.
Raphael S — Google review
Atmosphere was B+ at best, not worth the visit- wouldn’t go back as the server was rude he tried to memorize the order and couldn’t get it right over and over. Drinks and the Food menu was ok- WAY OVER PRICED you’re paying for the atmosphere. I live in LA and just expected a higher quality meal in a Regis Hotel…. as I rave about the Four Season Beverly Hills. I left a tip as no one should have to come to work for free. Trust me when I say- Service was below PAR….
Natalie H — Google review
Every time I'm in New York, I come here at least once. The service and, above all, the bartenders are fantastic. Friendly and competent. There is an incredible selection, as you would expect from a bar of this class. Of course, there are countless variations of the Bloody Mary. The atmosphere is super cozy. However, you usually have to wait quite a long time and stand in line to get a seat.

TALEA Beer Co in Williamsburg is Brooklyn's first female-founded brewery, offering a unique selection of innovative microbrews, cocktails, and wine. The bright and spacious taproom provides indoor and outdoor seating for families, pets, and events like yoga pop-ups and trivia nights. With a focus on fruit-forward beers such as Hazy IPAs and sours, TALEA aims to create a welcoming environment for beer enthusiasts of all kinds.
This is a nice open beer garden/brewery ready for families or adult groups. Nice relaxed worth beer flights and other draft options by the glass for discerning beet lovers.

We are so happy that we chose Talea to host our welcome night for our wedding weekend. We were looking for a casual, but large enough spot for our 130ish guests and where we could cater our own food since we couldn't have Vietnamese food at our actual wedding. The events staff are super easy to work with, the price is reasonable, and the space is really beautiful with lots of natural greenery so you don't need to decorate yourself. The food and drinks that they serve are also great and I really appreciated that they had non-alcoholic options since I don't drink myself. They make a custom menu for your event and there are little details like putting a custom sign or having a projector so you can have a slideshow or video playing in the background as well. I really recommend this spot for hosting any type of event.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s both unique and unforgettable, TALEA Brewery is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is warm, modern, and full of character, making it the perfect place to celebrate love with friends and family. The brewery’s charm brings a fun yet elevated vibe that you just can’t find anywhere else. It truly is love on tap! :) We had the pleasure of working with the amazing TALEA team through our Photo Booth services, and they were an absolute dream to collaborate with. Attentive, supportive, and genuinely excited to make each event shine—their passion shows in every detail. Whether it’s the stunning space, the craft beer that guests rave about, or the thoughtful care of the staff, TALEA Brewery makes weddings feel both personal and extraordinary. Highly recommend this venue for couples who want something fresh, unique, and full of heart.

Big space; knowledgeable staff; long tasting boards for beer flight with 4oz generous pours. Sours steal the show here (Gose too). A couple nice NA options too. Limited food; generally good.

We hosted a wedding welcome event at Talea and it was absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend. Bonnie was fantastic coordinating all the details leading up to the event, and Manny and the staff took amazing care of us on the day! We did an open bar for our guests and Talea was very well-staffed. No one waited more than 30 seconds to be served. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and nice. Food was excellent as well! Great experience all around, thanks Talea!

This bar is such a nice place. Was a true pleasure to finish my day of work with a delicious beer. Liked it so much that I ended up buying 2 "Talea Beer" branded glasses to remember the feeling. Hoping you will expand to Paris in the future!

So happy that I finally got to check this place out. The beer selection is amazing. The have some good snacks and platters on the menu. The space is big and airy and there is plenty of outdoor seating also. They have a section of coffee and merchandise. It also appears that they have various activities during the week. The service is good and the prices are decent. They also have Cocktails made with beer and non-alcoholic drinks plus they have soft drinks. The music is a nice variety from The Beatles to Al Greene and some Jazz. It's nice background music at the perfect volume. I'll have to go back and try some of their other beers and some of the platters.

This place is excellent! Super good service paired with excellent beer that is flavoursome and well priced with most beers around the $11 mark. Most people were in working and having a coffee which made it nice and busy with a good atmosphere even earlier in the day. If you like a craft beer you must stop by.

Neary's is a classic Irish pub located in Midtown East, New York City. Established by Jimmy Neary in 1967, it has a traditional ambiance and a menu focused on meat dishes. Over the years, it has gained popularity and recognition, with notable patrons including former New York State Governor Hugh Carey. Despite changes over time, such as Jimmy's passing and the impact of Covid-19, Neary's continues to uphold its legacy under the management of Mary and Una.
I had the Broiled Lamb Chops with mint jelly. It was tasty and tender. The baked potato tasted like it was just harvested. My meal came out within 30 minutes, and it was worth the wait. I will definitely return to try something else on the menu.

Jimmy has passed but his legacy is in good hands with Mary and Una taking over the "Master of Ceremonies" position. All the staff is the same. Let's talk about the food the Lamb Chops are legendary. We also love the French Onion soup , Prime Rib and Liver. Don't forget to leave room for desert and Irish Coffee !! The Irish Coffee is fantastic !!

If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable cocktail experience, look no further than Schmuck. This pop-up bar has taken mixology to new heights with its innovative drinks that challenge traditional notions of what a cocktail can be. Guests rave about standout creations like the Ratatouille scene and Le Banane, while the Strawberry Parmesan leaves everyone in awe—how do they even create such flavors? The Tarte Tatin is another highlight, described as dessert in a glass that's rich and indulgent.
Stylish spot with amazing cocktails and even better vibes. The drinks were creative, balanced, and beautifully presented—each one felt like a signature. The staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the whole experience super enjoyable from start to finish. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, perfect for a date night or catching up with friends. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into every detail, from the menu to the lighting. Loved the bar setup and the casual elegance of the space. Definitely a must-visit if you’re into craft cocktails and a chill but classy vibe.
Anthony M — Google review
I only tried the front bar, which is harder to get into but isn’t as good as the back bar according to people who’ve been to both. The cocktails were creative and relatively enjoyable, but rather than being unique combinations that complement or highlight the liquor, they felt more like juicy blends of ingredients with alcohol added on, which didn’t sit too well in my stomach. I’m sure such cocktails appeal to many people though (especially on the younger side), and may in fact be perfect for those who don’t enjoy drinking but want to join friends for a glass at a bar. All in all, would I return for more? Don’t think so. Would I recommend it? To certain people, yes. Am I going to come back to try the back bar? Definitely. Update: I came back to try the back bar. The drinks we got were good — once again, not as a unique combination of liquor but rather as tasty drinks. It’s nice to check out for fun, though.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. I’ve heard only good things about it and every time I walk by the line is insane. In order to go walk by and put your name on the list and go get a drink somewhere else and then come back. It was totally not a long. Wait when I did this plan early in the night. It was 30 minutes and totally worth it. Sat at the bar ordered two drinks I don’t remember what I ordered, but I knew I loved all of it. Every drink was fantastic. The atmosphere was fantastic. The bartender was responding. Cute and he told me they’re gonna be making a new menu within two weeks to a month so I’ll be going back to try all of that. However, the pizza puff thing was absolutely terrible. It was dry. It wasn’t like a pizza I would never order that ever in my life. It makes me worry that all the food there is bad however, I can’t judge it off one dish. I will be going back and try other things. I do love the spot. I love the ambience. It was so worth it. I didn’t sit at the little side bar. They always try to push you if you can’t get in the main place wait for the main place, it’s worth it

Every cocktail was amazing. I tried the entire drink menu with a friend and have zero critiques. Every cocktail was perfection in its own right. Our bartender Mason was the best! Looking forward to coming back with more friends. I only wish the space was bigger, but hey, it's Manhattan.

Great vibes at Schmuck Bar! Tried the Larb Gai and Le Petit Fizz—both were delicious. The drink was refreshing, and the music set the perfect mood. Cool spot to hang out with friends. Definitely coming back!!🩷

I came to Schmuck for the cocktails, but I’ll be coming back for the people. The drinks were absolutely top-tier—cleverly crafted, perfectly balanced, and served with style. You can tell there’s serious talent behind the bar. But what really set the night apart was the incredible service. Eric was a standout, attentive, genuine, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. There was also a gentleman with a French accent whose charm and hospitality took everything to another level. And the doorman from Senegal? An absolute legend. Warm, welcoming, and full of great energy. He made walking in feel like entering a friend’s house, not just a bar.

Funny enough, I walked by the OG Barcelona location but never got the chance to go, so was glad to see this spot open up in NYC. Incredibly creative and unique drinks. The Larb Gai and the Pina Colada Pickleback were our favorites. I loved the layout and vibes of the interior design — it really did feel like a cool friend's living room. Our waiter was also very attentive, friendly and gave the best recommendations. Overall, an excellent experience. Would recommend ideally for groups of 2-4, and to show up for opening as it does get quite busy.

St. Dymphna's is an Irish pub known for its cozy atmosphere and outdoor patio. It offers traditional Irish cuisine with a modern twist, making it a great spot for satisfying both hunger and thirst. The bar is named after St. Dymphna, the patron saint of the mentally ill, who was believed to have ruled part of Ireland in the 7th century. While it's a popular spot for college students and young adults, it still retains signs of its glamorous past.

Honestly pretty boring. Very generic music. Not many hype songs. I am just one review so try this bar for yourself to make an actual review. I think there’s better places. I ordered a vodka sour. Not sure what I got. Definitely not a vodka sour. It’d be nice if they played a mix of 2000s and current mixes. If you like early 2000s mixes it’s great for u! I love early 2000s mixes but not they’re just not danceable in my opinion.

This place is awful, on 2 separate occasions I have had both of my credit cards stolen, then my phone. They were both taken right out of my zipped up purse. The security there needs to be way better at watching people. I didn’t even take my wallet out of my bag all night and it was right on my hip and i would check it every 5 minutes. I will never be coming back here.

Beware the auto 20-30% tip they throw on all transactions without disclosing first. Which is illegal in New York. * Go here if you want your stuff stolen and to be overcharged and underserved. * Like another reviewer said I’ve requested a refund for the ridiculous charge via my receipt, since the bar doesn’t answer their phone at all after many calls. I’d love to see them refund me the charge otherwise I’m disputing it with my bank. Spot seemed half decent but clearly super dishonest and scammy.

Despite its fine-dining status, it offers an intimate and intriguing counter experience with well-curated tasting menus and cocktail pairings. The ambiance is described as welcoming and cozy, with beautiful art adorning the lounge area.
Great food & drinks, great atmosphere and great service. Every dish was well presented, full of flavors. The chefs and mixologists were engaging and warm. Loved cozy intimate vibe of the space. Cocktails were creative. I am a lightweight and switched from alcohol to non-alcoholic pairing during the course and non-alcoholic options were also great. Nestled in the heart of New York City, Bar Oliver is a delightful gem that brings the essence of Basque cuisine to life. Drawing inspiration from the traditional pintxos bars of San Sebastián, this charming eatery offers a laid-back atmosphere where guests can savor simple yet exquisitely sourced dishes. The inviting decor and relaxed vibe make it an ideal spot for anyone looking to indulge in authentic flavors reminiscent of Spain.
This is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. I enjoy coming here for great coffee in the morning and great wine in the evening. The staff here is excellent—every visit has been a pleasure. Even without a reservation, they’ve always managed to graciously accommodate us. The folks that work here are mighty neighborly. The atmosphere is impeccable, with a beautifully designed bar and a superb selection of natural wines. That said, the food leaves something to be desired. The green salad is decent if you enjoy something simple, and the fries are solid. However, the tapas feel underwhelming. For example, the $15 shrimp on a small slice of baguette is disappointing, both in portion and presentation. Paying $6 for a single Gilda is disheartening. While the potato salad is tasty if you're a fan of the dish, and the pan con tomate has good flavors, the portions all around are too small to justify the price. Despite the food shortcomings, this spot shines for its early hours, fantastic coffee, and unbeatable wine selection. Come for the wine, the atmosphere, and the experience—it’s well worth the visit.

Very unusual bar in the border of China town. We loved every small tapa, perfect sized and quite well executed. The place is perfect for the evening glass of wine, and it is pleasant place to visit.

This place has so much potential but the service is so bad here. Drinks are decent and their food actually tastes good but 1) the staff don’t know what’s on the menu, 2) they serve food without cutlery, 3) they don’t take orders from outside and 4) they are rather rude on interaction. Won’t be rushing back here.
Rovik R — Google review
3.5 🌟 It’s definitely a hot spot based on the location, vibe, and type of people that come by on a Friday night. The space itself doesn’t lend too well to dine in on a Friday night since it can get busy and we were bumped into while seated a few times. I wouldn’t come here starving, but rather to enjoy some bites with your drinks. The shrimp pintxos and hanger steak were both really good. Don’t bother with the side salad; nothing to it but lettuce and some dressing.

Finally, made it here for lunch on July 4th!!! Vibe is really cool and the food was good - I ordered way too much but got to take the leftovers home. I ordered the cheese plate, the mortadella, the Pan Con Tomate (which is toasted bread with a very delicious tomato sauce that you spoon on the bread) and the Matrimonio (a selection of 2 different kinds of anchovies). It's a beautiful spot and I especially loved the 2 Schnabel paintings on the wall (apparently Schnabel's sons are two of the partners). Bar Oliver is a great addition to the neighborhood - it's not 100% there yet but shows lots of promise.

Wow wow wow- I just left Bar Oliver for the first time. Well done lads. That was bloody incredible. The food was perfect - I’m obsessed with the manager (ex pro baller as well!) The little pinchos or guinchos or whatever they’re called were off the scale. The Jamon plate with warm bread was lovely. The branzino was so beautiful and delicious…. And then the wagyu hanger!! we got the hanger cos the only Ribeye left was $280 and mum and Dave wanted fish so it was too much…. But my god hanger can normally be plain, tough, and not that tasty but bloody hell , it was so perfectly cooked and with the orangey shit below it….ugh! I loved the chips too and the salad. Insane meal, feeling very buff walking out. Still a touch loud for me but I’m buzzing. Well done lads!!!! Xxx

Bar Oliver is an absolute gem. The quality of the food is top-notch and every dish feels thoughtfully crafted and delicious. The wine list is one of the best surprises: prices are so fair that it actually encourages you to explore and try different bottles. Most importantly, KJ (the GM) and his team make you feel completely at home. Their hospitality is genuine, warm, and best-in-class. Every visit feels like it brings you home to Spain …. full of warmth, great food, and the kind of charm that makes you want to linger.

Nestled in the heart of New York City, the Home for Retired Playground Animals offers a charming retreat for those nostalgic about their childhood playground experiences. Located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, this unique space is dedicated to beloved concrete animals that have served as climbing companions over the years. With its serene atmosphere and thoughtful landscaping near the iconic Unisphere, visitors can enjoy a peaceful moment while reminiscing about simpler times.
I ordered from Home Perfect a bathroom wall cabinet instead of my which was very old and damaged. The new cabinet supposed to be very nice with glass shelves and three mirrored doors. Unfortunately, mirrors on two doors were cracked and I was warried that I have to pack the cabinet again and send it back for a replacement. Luckily Calvin from a Home Perfect customer support helped me. He managed to order two new doors shipped to me. It took some time, but finally I have a new beautiful cabinet on the wall. Thank you, Calvin, for your help.

I placed 2 orders for new items and received used, damaged, and defective Newport Brass shower trim both times. At this point I'm surprised I ever even received product from this place. I've contacted them directly and they've failed to remedy both problems. First problem, they said their supplier "water tests" the shower head before shipping...mineral build up (pictured) takes months/years and even if it was from a run test (why are they testing new showerheads?) you shouldn't be shipping new product like that. They refused to do anything about fixing it with an exchange. Second issue was with the finish blemish on a handheld shower head (pictured). I doubt Newport would be shipping product marked as new/not discounted from the factory with obvious finish blemishes. Both times I contacted them and thought the issue was resolved via email only for them to wait 1-2 days before calling for "more information." Also, why are they shipping plumbing items in lingerie boxes? Shady store, poor customer service, wouldn't recommend doing business with them.

I bought a Toto bidet, but it had some problems. The customer service was super friendly and helpful. They even gave me a full refund when we couldn’t fix the issue. I’d definitely buy from them again!

The communication was very excellant. The represenative took my order in a timely manner. Home perfect's shiipping department did an outstanding job on packaging the sink I ordered. I huge box with plenty of styrofoam packing. The sink came in perfect condition. I don't have any pictures of the box it came in. But I do have a picture with the sink intalled with all new fixture's and plumbing. Previous owners put in a vanity sink years ago. I wanted to put back a wall sink like is in the other bathroom. This sink is about 90% identical to the old one. Very satisfied with dealing with home perfect. Would buy again.

Extremely pleased with the price and service at Home Perfect. I bought a tub drain assembly from them only to know on installation day that the building doesn't accept the one I bought (that goes with the tub) because it is PVC. They promptly found me a metal alternative and the replacement arrived the next day! The staff on the line sound knowledgeable and reassuring. The procedure of return was easy and well communicated as well. I'd highly recommend purchasing with Home Perfect.

I ordered a washlet from Home Perfect. They had the most reasonable price at the time so I went ahead and placed the order. I probably ordered something else from them previously but I am not sure now. To my surprise they reached out to me saying the item was on clearance and couldn’t be returned. After I confirmed it is in new condition I said fine. The order came in very quickly and in good clean shape. After installation the unit works well. Good price good quality good condition and quick delivery is what I commend on online orders.

I hadn't heard of this company before, but they had the best price on the toilet I wanted to order (in wall Toto). I will definitely order from them again! The order processing was easy, and the customer service after the order was outstanding. The shipper damaged the toilet bowl and Home Perfect had another bowl in the mail the next day. They were very responsive to emails, and they even helped delay the original shipment so it wouldn't arrive when I was traveling. Great place to work with!
Derek R — Google review
I needed to replace my bathroom sink bought 7 years ago but I had no information. Customer service found my order and it was delivered in 2 days. I then needed to replace my toilet tank and again customer service was able to assist me and give me updates on the order and again shipped in 2 days. Amazing company and service and will continue to look to them for any renovations we do. Also wanted to note the replacement needs were because of us and had nothing to do with the quality of the products.

Nestled in the vibrant East Village, Bar Kabawa marks a thrilling new chapter for the Momofuku team, being their first NYC venture since 2019. Under the creative direction of Chef Paul Carmichael, who brings his Caribbean heritage to life through an enticing menu, this spot is a feast for both the palate and spirit.
Some of the best cocktails (bay leaf daiquiri or the whole coconut with rum) I’ve had in NYC. If you prefer rum on its own, they have a varied and deep selection. But the food is also incredible - including some super flaky patties and the Solomon Gundy, a herring fish dip that I would order again any time I visit. However, the best part of this place might be the vibe. Service is super welcoming and the music gets you in the mood to dance like you’re in your living room.
Kyle B — Google review
Great spot that plays Sparrow and other West Indian jams while serving Rhum focused cocktails and an interesting take on patties. This is a rare combo. If you dont have a reservation, come early, since the bar area is first come first serve. There are all kinds of Rhums and spirits in the West Indies they could play off of, so it would be nice to see if they started trying spirit brands from the other islands. Looking forward to seeing this place grow. 💪🏼

Wow I had an amazing experience at the bar. Despite walking in close to closing time I received stellar hospitality at the bar. The drinks were thoughtful and delicious. A perfect way to end the night. Ko bar held a very special place in my heart and it’s so cool to see such an amazing concept follow it up!!

I never review normally, but this place is awesome and I had some of the best service I’ve ever experienced at a bar in this city. Our server’s name was Marley, and she was absolutely amazing: charismatic, friendly, knew exactly when to jump in and help with drink choices, and was super knowledgeable on the beverages/rum :). The menu design is playful and has a (literal) storyline to it, I got to meet the somm/ wine director who designed it— Eitan, and he was also really charismatic, made the wine list approachable and fun, and gave us great recs. Overall, a really lovely and knowledgeable staff who obviously love their jobs and guests. It’s so nice to see these unique and inventive restaurants gaining attention in the culinary world. Totally worth the hype ;)

The sardines and okra were standout, on top of dope patty and rum cocktail selection

Great music and vibes! The curry crab and squash baked patty was amazing. We also loved the jerk daiquiri. Really nice servers too! Recommend!!
Laavanya D — Google review
This place is a total treat. Deeply welcoming hospitality, inventive cocktail-size patties and especially delicious coco bread, good music loud enough for a vibe but conversation-friendly. Eating out is expensive, this tasted and felt Worth It. Every detail down to the glasses and silverware is deeply pleasing.

Omg!! Will be back every time I’m on New York! I don’t have a reservation and it was packed (you should try to get one) Kennedy was our host and server and and tended to us amazingly. She was so great and was able to get us some seats at the bar. The ti punch needs to be drink slow. Very aggressive! The daiquiris as yummy and all the food is good! A must visit!
