Donut shop
Coffee shop
Doughnut Plant is a unique bakery known for its handcrafted donuts in a variety of unusual flavors such as crème brûlée and tres leches. The shop offers an extensive selection of donuts that fall into different categories, including nostalgic, newfangled, cake, and yeasted options. The bakery's signature rose doughnuts with canele-like ridges and two-tone icing modeled after the iconic black-and-white cookie are particularly popular.
The staff were brilliant donuts were insanely good! Visiting from England. This is a must try in New York, especially the strawberry cheesecake.

Cute little donut shop that I wandered into on my way to meet a friend. Too bad there's not a lot of sitting room - it was definitely on the more cramped side but I can appreciate the effort on the donut related decors. The donuts themselves were also just so-so. Very unique and fun flavors but maybe it was because it was cold when I finally got to eating it, but it tasted a little dry.
Kat — Google review
The first time I discovered Doughnut Plant, I gave it 5 stars because they were truly the most spectacular doughnuts I had ever tried. Every time we planned a trip to New York, our reaction was always the same: “Yes! We’re going to eat Doughnut Plant!” But this time was a big disappointment. We went three times, and all three times were a bad experience. We visited three different locations, at different times of day, and unfortunately, the result was always the same. They used to stand out for their flavor, texture, and variety — they were really special — but now they just feel like any other doughnut shop. The crème brûlée no longer has that crispy top that made it unique, the vanilla bean was completely melted, and even the Valrhona hot chocolate, which used to be rich and intense, has lost its depth. At the Grand Street location, the service was particularly poor — the staff looked upset, served with bad attitude, and seemed annoyed all the time. This didn’t happen in the other two locations, where at least the service was polite. It honestly makes us sad, because for years this was our favorite place. Whenever friends or family came to New York, we always told them they couldn’t leave without trying these doughnuts. But now, unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. We want this to be a constructive review, because we truly value what Doughnut Plant once was. Hopefully, this is just a rough patch, and they’ll soon go back to being the best doughnuts — like they used to be.
Roo Z — Google review
Amazing cold brew and the watermelon aquafresca was so fresh. Doughnuts looked amazing. I wish I had one!
Kelly P — Google review
Donuts and coffee were very good, but the coffee cake doughnut was especially great. Moist with a good coffee flavour and with like a salty touch. Thanks !!
YKGZ — Google review
Through the years this donut shop has closed some of their locations as business has slowed down. You would think the remaining locations would at least provide good customer service to avoid further closure. Not at this location. I came in with a cheerful attitude and the staff returned it with a sarcastic attitude. I guess they want rude customers more than the nice customers. Not everyone finds everything funny nowadays especially if it’s at the expense of the customer. I wouldn’t be surprised if this donut chain closed down completely in the future. The customer service is nothing to come back for.
May M — Google review
So impressed by the quality of Doughnut plants sourdough donuts!! I always go for sourdough as someone who has a gluten sensitivity, and these are simply amazing (refer to the photos to see how airy these bad boys are). These will always be my go to for a good doughnut in the city. Also, the drinks we tried were amazing! Lots of vegan options. Definitely give it a try at Grand St or grand central!!
Maddie P — Google review
Went here on a snowy winters morning for breakfast. The shop was really quiet so we asked the lady behind the counter for her recommendations. She told us all her favorites so we tried each one. Really good donuts and I'll definitely visit again next visit to NYC. Coffee was also quite good 👍🏻

Donut shop
Breakfast restaurant
Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop is an old-school bakery located on Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The bakery offers a wide variety of donuts and pastries, as well as shakes and egg creams. It has been a staple in the area since the 1950s and is currently owned by Donna and Christos Siafakas, who took over in 1993.
The iconic Peter Pan was packed on this perfect picturesque day. The donuts are huge, delicious and reasonably priced. The crazy long line moved super fast. Dressed in bright colored smocks the donut specialists (?) were friendly and easily handled the multiple hungry customers on line. These donuts are so so good. Enjoy
Juan G — Google review
Everything is great about this place. First, the donut was really, really good. I tried the traditional glazed, and it was honestly incredible. Secondly, the service was super friendly and helpful. The girl behind the counter was really kind. Last but not least, it's hard to beat their prices, especially in NYC.
Aon — Google review
I was in the area so I finally stopped by Peter Pan Donuts. I tried the blueberry buttermilk donut first, and honestly, it was pretty dry. Mike’s Donuts in Bay Ridge definitely does a better blueberry donut. The apple crumble donut, though, totally saved the experience. It was excellent — the apple filling and pie crumb topping worked perfectly together, and it wasn’t overly sweet. Definitely the highlight. From what I saw (and tasted), their cake donuts seem to run on the dry side. I’d stick to their yeast donuts instead, since the sour cream, old fashioned, and chocolate cake donuts all looked dry too. Customer service was fine — not rude, but I did have to flag someone down to get served once seated. Overall: 3/5.
Abigail S — Google review
I was ready to be absolutely blown away by the doughnuts here and bought two to test both. Firstly, and perhaps my fault, the offer wasn’t as broad as I’d hoped due to selling out. I really wanted to try glazed/plain plus one of the jam options that I did try. On both doughnuts the pastry was exceptional - mixture of light and full of flavour. Jam was too much for me - felt too processed/thick/sugary. It’s a good offer so I’d recommend trying. Queue is long but moves quick so don’t be put off by that.
Katie M — Google review
We visited here on a Sunday morning around 11 am, just before the lunch rush. I was hoping to order an apple fritter, but they ran out, so I ordered a honey dip and a lemon filled donut, which was generously filled. The texture of the donuts was soft and chewy, making it a perfect snack! I loved the old-fashioned diner vibes with the barstools and decor. This joint was reasonably priced, especially considering the price of quality pastries in NYC, but I would definitely recommend visiting early in the morning for a greater selection of flavors. I would definitely recommend visiting Greenpoint Toys across the street with its wide array of toys for all ages.
Amanda W — Google review
I so wanted to like this place but the donuts were…. beyond mid. Their classic honey ring donut had an oily, unfresh taste and their blueberry cake donut was similarly gas station-like. The staff were super friendly and the retro vibe inside is very cute. My NYC donut search continues :(
Jack B — Google review
Was recommended by NYPD cop and wanted to like it, but was trash food. Went there late AM July 28 and it was the first and only thing I ate that day. Had coffee, red velvet donut but marble cruller was off, really oily from the fryer and just bad tasting chocolate. But that was enough to upset stomach and started vomiting later so everything came out until nothing left. Otherwise, staff was wonderful, prices good, cool atmosphere... but we'll never go back.
Dave P — Google review
Very characteristic place, if you want try delicious donuts and take a good espresso (like the italian one) it's a must visit this historic bakery in Brooklyn!

Dun-Well Doughnuts is a renowned all-vegan donut shop that has been delighting New Yorkers for over a decade. I remember going to this place in 2018 on St Marks Pl. Now that I'm back in NY, I'm glad there's still an option open. It's literally right in front of the L subway exit. There are few places to sit, and since we went on a weekday afternoon, it was empty. They have many flavors of donuts, at least 18, and hot and cold drinks. We ate the donuts there and asked for more to bring. The donuts are very light, the dough is very good. The toppings are very tasty, the best donut I've ever had, exactly as I remember from 7 years ago. And the best part is that everything is vegan.
Christiani P — Google review
Had the french toast donut and a lemon filled. Both incredible. Never had vegan donuts so perfect. I've had many donuts around the country and these are some of the best I've ever had! The staff was super friendly and even helped me with directions after my phone died. And the prices I found super reasonable.
Caszmera P — Google review
I truly love the donuts here — they’re incredible! Soft, fresh, and the fact that they’re vegan makes them even better. But I have to say, the owner’s husband completely ruins the vibe. His energy is nasty, racist, and just plain ugly. When he came out, the whole atmosphere shifted — even the owner seemed uncomfortable, and that said a lot. To make things worse, he ignored me and gave another customer their order before mine. It felt intentional and disrespectful. He’s honestly dragging her business down. She seems like such a sweet person, but he’s the reason I wouldn’t rush back. Sir, please stay in the back where you belong until you learn how to treat people with kindness and basic respect. The donuts? AMAZING. The husband? Absolutely not.
Mi T — Google review
Amazing vegan donuts with a lot of variety. They typically have special weekend flavors too. Their coffee is great too! The interior offers a comfortable and lowkey vibe. Limited seating, though (a window bar/barstools and few outdoor seats). They are open until sold out, which usually occurs ~4:00 PM, give or take an hour. I definitely recommend visiting Dun-Well! Items pictured: strawberry shortcake cheesecake donut (weekend special flavor) and horchata latte. 100% vegan menu!
Nora W — Google review
No notes. Fantastic vibes inside with animal friendly signs and decor up. The donuts are pillowy and soft with the perfect texture. Would fool a non vegan they are incredible.
Nicole T — Google review
This place makes me crave donuts. I could not live closer cause I would be there everyday. They always have new amazing flavors and the classics are always there. All vegan!
Metallicfern — Google review
Dun-Well Doughnuts is a Brooklyn staple for a reason. The doughnuts are soft, fresh, and packed with flavor—always creative without being over the top. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a classic glazed or try something fun and seasonal, and either way, you leave happy. The shop itself has a cool, low-key vibe, and the staff is always welcoming. Whether you’re vegan or not, these doughnuts stand on their own—delicious, satisfying, and made with care. Definitely one of my go-to treats in the city.

Don't sleep on Vegan donuts!! These things are addicting! #1 fav is the cinnamon sugar, then their maple and glazed. They also make specialty donuts, tried their cereal one very yummy.

Donut shop
Coffee shop
The Donut Pub is a beloved 24/7 establishment that has been serving up fresh donuts, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee since 1964. With a wide variety of flavors to choose from including old-fashioned honey-dipped, red velvet, and blueberry cake donuts, there's something for every taste.
Another nut free find! Also sesame free. Large assortment of donuts from classics, to cronuts and fancy fun flavors. Donut holes, muffins and other baked goods. Saw vegan and gluten free options in a separate display. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived on a Thursday morning 10am. There is old school countertop sitting for you to enjoy your donuts, coffee or other breakfast meals. They were patient while we looked over everything and decided. For 4 donuts, 2 Poland springs, 1 bacon egg and cheese on a Kaiser there and 3 donuts, 1 muffin and 1 dozen donut holes to go it was $51!
Emily V — Google review
Those donuts were AWESOMEEEE—delicious, freshly baked, and with flavors that are out of this freaking world. I’m a donut lover, and this is without a doubt my favorite spot in NYC for donuts. And the best part? They’re open 24 hours… which means donut cravings can be satisfied anytime. Dangerous, but in the best possible way.
Tahiri H — Google review
Delicious and fresh donuts!! We had a dozen for a work birthday party and the whole team loved them. The options at the bakery all looked delicious and just walking in you smell the sweet but natural taste. They have gluten options I must come back for. Highly recommend!
Andrea ( — Google review
It’s a small little pub/dinner style establishment but there’s a plethora of donuts. I picked up a tiramisu, French toast and fruity pebble doughnut. All of the base donut was delicious, soft & fluffy. The tiramisu had a bold espresso & a sweet cookie. The French toast had maple syrup taste with a cookie but I couldn’t tell what it was supposed to taste like. Lastly the fruit pebble one was simply a glaze with crunchy fruity pebbles. I liked the fruity pebbles the most. The donut is really good alone & the cereal added a crispy texture.
Tysha K — Google review
I absolutely love the donuts here..so many options it’s hard to choose. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. This place has definitely become my go to spot for a quick treat. The only thing I wish? That the hot coffee was a bit hotter. can’t beat the vibes and flavors. Highly recommend!
T K — Google review
I found this place by accident and it was one of the best mistakes I ever made. I don’t know how Donut pub been around since.1956 and it’s my first time discovering it Well, either way I had to get the s’mores doughnut and a double chocolate dipped donut, and the French toast donut and it was all decadent, delicious and a croissant. Donuts are flaky and fresh. Average donut is around $5 per donut so I would say it’s a place for a special treat vs a daily donut Here’s the video

A 24 hour donut shop filled with many different types. Cronuts, double dip chocolate, Crullers and glazed varieties. The French Cruller is so airy and light.

I can’t recommend Donut Pub highly enough. This was a great old-school donut shop. With lots of fun and exciting flavors. It was clean with a very friendly staff. I love their fudge-like chocolate icing. I had a chocolate cruller and a caramel salted cronut. Both were amazing!

Moe's Doughs is a vibrant establishment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, offering an extensive menu of classic and innovative housemade donuts, along with burgers and sandwiches. Open from 5 am to 10 pm most days of the week, it caters to early risers in need of a sugar boost or late-night snack seekers. The Rainbow Cake Donut stands out as one of their visually stunning delights.
Just as good as Peter Pan Donuts (but so much more UNDERRATED!). These donuts are delicious!! Crispy outside and incredible flavors. The Blueberry Glaze was incredibly blueberry-y and the texture of the crisp outside was sheer perfection. There’s nothing better than a classic donut and this place does it right!
Natalie — Google review
Heard about this place and glad I made a little trip to visit. Great old school New York vibe, friendly staff, and donuts more than lived up to the hype! Got a chocolate coconut cake donut, then a classic maple glaze & coffee roll. All of them were awesome, but I am particularly fond of coffee rolls and this one was beyond good! Generous amounts of cinnamon sugar in between the layers, and perfect dunked in a black coffee. 🫶🏻
Cas H — Google review
Best traditional donuts, no pretense. Apple Fritter is an experiment in size: how large can we make it before health inspectors declare it a hazard. I go out of my way for Moe’s.
Doug M — Google review
Omg amazing BIG doughnuts & great prices. I got the strawberry jelly, cinnamon bun, apple fritter, blueberry fritter, red velvet, pumpkin & blueberry muffin. Heated the cinnamon bun at home and it tasted a lot better than room temp bc the dough got more soft and gooey, but not super cinnamony which I prefer. I’m never in this neighborhood so had to buy extra and freeze them!! Total for everything was around $20!
Hua — Google review
Tried a bunch of their donuts recently. My favorite was the chocolate chip cake donut, excellent crusty glaze and nice morsels of chocolate chips inside. The glazed yeast donuts were good as well, soft and fresh, and not too dense. The cruller with cream inside and on the top was fresh, but this along with some of the others were overly sweet. I would have enjoyed these donuts more had they had less sugar.
Daniel C — Google review
Old school donut shop with a twist. I got two cake donuts - sour cream and pistachio. The pistachio was very good with a nice pistachio flavor. There was also a rose cream flavored donut, so definite Middle Eastern flavor notes for some donuts. If I am in the neighborhood, I would stop by for a pistachio donut, but not sure I'd go out of my way to make a visit.
Lisa W — Google review
Absolutely delicious donuts. We grabbed a whole assortment and there wasn't a single miss; the donuts were pillowy soft, clearly very fresh, and the toppings and glazes were generous. We're eager to go back and try more of their classic varieties, which were mostly sold out when we got there, but the specialty donuts were a great sweet treat. I highly recommend the apple fritter and yeast donuts, though even the cake donuts were moist and rich.
Nada M — Google review
Some of the best, truly classic donuts you’ll have anywhere in NYC. I always get a red velvet cake donut, but the pistachio cake, rainbow cake, and simple glazed and crullers are also fantastic. Still gotta try the Oreo cake donut and the new Dubai Chocolate donut!

Bakery
Fan Fan Doughnuts is a classic shop that offers artisanal donuts baked on-site in small batches, along with coffee and tea. It was opened by Fany Gerson, an acclaimed pastry chef and cookbook author who introduced her newest spot in the same location as her previous shop, Dough.
First time visiting. Stopped by at about noon, they had a rack of fresh donuts and I could smell more cooking in the back. The woman behind the counter was very sweet and explained the special flavors to me. I got the classic glazed, the choc choc, and the vanilla diplomat cream. All three were absolutely delicious. They use real vanilla bean - you can see the little speckles, and you can taste the difference. The chocolate donut was made with good quality chocolate as well, I could tell from the flavor. All three were soft and fresh and yummy. The cream donut had a generous helping of cream (sometimes places but way too little, but this one was perfect). They had a good selection of drinks and a little area with pantry things for sale as well. The prices were very reasonable considering the high quality ingredients they're using - my entire order was only $13. I'll definitely be coming back regularly.

Love these light & fluffy doughnuts so much! They always have fun & unique flavors. Not to mention, they use super fresh & high-quality ingredients. One of our absolute family favorites is the White Coffee which pairs exceptionally with a hot coffee or cold brew. Our favorites so far this year are the Lemon Blueberry Croissant Beignet (lemon curd folded with fresh whipped cream), Raspberry Lemongrass (little sweet-little tart) & Rosita Fresita (milk chocolate mousse) Please keep in this in the menu forever! I hope the owners open another location in Park Slope or Gowanus! It would make us very happy! *They have rotating seasonal menus with soft serve ice cream & paletas from their sister company, La Newyorkina.

We had the blackcurrant raspberry and white chocolate donuts. The frosting is good, not too sweet. I wasn't a fan of the texture though. I felt it was more like a bagel than a donut and the ratio of frosting to donut wasn't great (too much donut). I cut it in half width wise like a bagel and ate the top half which helped

Had the guava and cheese donut which was very good. Seemed like a broad selection for different tastes. No indoor seating and limited outdoor bench space.

I’m so impressed by these donuts — they taste like a lot of care was put into the recipe R&D process. I tried the mango passion donut, which was huge, fluffy, and fresh. The glaze was the best I’ve ever had. It somehow tasted creamy, and had a similar effect to a cream filling inside the donut, and all the mango and passion fruit flavors were pronounced and balanced. The horchata was also super unique! Had a very spiced flavor to it. The lady working the counter was also incredibly sweet :) Looking forward to coming back!

Lovely sponge-y donut base and the glazes are incredible! We got 4 and each was extremely flavorful and distinct: Mango Lassi, Luna Limón, La Donna (Black Currant & Raspberry Glaze), and White Coffee, which was my favorite! The other three were also delicious, but I found myself closing my eyes after each bite, savoring it. I did get the glaze stuck on my fingers and then on my arms a couple times, once from the box cover 😂 Next time, I'll ask for a fork.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Fan Fan Doughnuts** I *just* stumbled upon this place while out on a walk and—oh my god—how have I lived this long without knowing about it?! The *moment* I walked in, the smell hit me like a warm, sweet, buttery hug from the heavens. I knew I was in trouble. Let’s talk doughnuts. I ordered: 🍩 **Mango Lassi** – Bright, tangy, tropical perfection. 🍩 **The Danny Boy** – Salted brown butter caramel glaze… excuse me?! *SHUT UP!* 🍩 **Passion Mango** – This one? HOLY GOD. Heaven. Heaven. And more heaven. 🍩 **Raspberry Lemongrass** – Tart, fragrant, magical. Every single one of these doughnuts *personally informed me* that I’ll be coming back. And they’re right. This place is *the devil*—and I mean that in the best way possible. How is it even LEGAL for something to taste this good?! They need to stop. Actually, no they don’t. But maybe they should. BUT DON’T. 😈 Service? Amazing. Atmosphere? Smelled like a dream. Overall experience? I left possessed by doughnuts. Shoutout to whoever’s behind these recipes—y’all are out here committing sugar sorcery. 10/10 will risk my health again. Fan Fan, I’m yours now.

The Doughnut Project is a small-batch donut and espresso shop located in a compact space adorned with psychedelic murals and chandeliers. Run by Troy Neal and Leslie Polizzotto, this spot is known for its inventive and unique flavors. The Everything Bagel Doughnut has garnered attention with its sweet cream cheese glaze and savory seasoning.
This place and its maple cruller donut rocked my world. This place is amazing. Ordered 6 donuts from here and 2 of the signature maple cruller - my only mistake was not ordering more. Everything was delicious by my favorite has to be the maple cruller (can you tell by this point in the review?) and the yeasted plain glazed (so soft!) They both melt in your mouth and are absolutely delicious I will be thinking of the maple cruller donut in my sleep for the rest of the week. And I certainly will be back

The Doughnut Project is open from 9am till 2pm. I stopped by on. Thursday afternoon around 1:30pm and this was what they had left. The donuts were delicious. I got the Lemon Love Letter and Milk and Cereal. The Milk & Cereal donut was vegan and you got the flavors of cereal. It was a crispier donut but there was still softness on the inside. The Lemon Love Letter donut definitely delivered on the lemon flavor. The donut was soft and fluffy. If you’re a donut lover and haven’t checked this place out, add it to your list. I was so curious about the cinnamon roll donut so I will be back.

The donut I had was delicious. It was the service that threw me off. The lady (perhaps manager) seemed to be in a rush even though the place wasn’t crowded. Customer service is part of businesses so even though I was asking questions about the donuts, like the types and what is in them, the lady seemed quite impatient for me to just decide on a donut. To reiterate, the product seemed great, the coffee was okay, but the service is what drew my negative impression.

No offense to the other donut places, 've tried them all and this place is the best out of the bunch, do not go anywhere else. I've gone TWICE as they were closing at like 1:50pm and both times I got some amazing fresh spectacular donuts like they just made them. Melt in your MOUTH donuts you have to try all the flavors, even flavors you think you might not like, get it and try it and have your mind blown. I want to go back just thinking about them while writing this review. Highlights: Apple, Bacon Maple, Cinnamon Bun, all great. Update: Super bummed about them closing permanently, I have been back every weekend since I heard just to order like 8 doughnuts because they are that good and I will miss them, losing a special place

Incredibly delicious and inventive. Today I tried Maple Cruller, The Everything Doughnut, and Cereal Milk Crunch. The maple cruller was, without hyperbole, my favorite donut ever. Light inside & crispy outside as described. I didn't think it looked terribly interesting, so I was in disbelief about how ridiculously tasty I found it. Everything Doughnut was satisfyingly soft, and I thought that cream cheese glaze was amazing. Wasn't crazy about the "everything" toppings, yet overall I still found it an excellent doughnut.

This has been on my NYC list to try for a while now and we finally tried it on our most recent trip. Boy have we been missing out! We got: - Everything Doughnut - Those Beets Are Dope - Maple Cruller They were all fantastic and I would highly recommend each of them. If I had to pick one, I'd pick the maple cruller. I had never had a cruller before and it tasted like a cross between a churro and a donut. I loved the texture. I'd definitely come back to try more donuts and recommend trying this place when in NYC!

We tried a lot of doughnuts in NYC and these are the best so far. Fresh of course, but first and foremost, tasty. The lady who served us was the most gracious I have met in this city. I wish we could have more people like her 🩵

My absolute favorite donut shop in the city! I’ve been coming back there for a very long time now and I can’t get bored of their donuts, ever. There are weekend specials every week so I go back all the time to be able to try everything. 😋 The donuts are quite pricey but they are really worth it—the dough is soft and delicious and the different flavors are so unique that you can’t find anywhere else! Oh and the donuts are huge! Staff is nice too. Highly recommended!

Supermoon Bakehouse, located in the Lower East Side, is a bakery that has gained popularity for its innovative and visually stunning pastries. Co-founded by Ry Stephen of San Francisco's Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, this bakery offers a unique selection of croissants, donuts, and cruffins (croissant-muffin hybrids). The croissants are described as having a distinctive appearance with rounded corners and a glossy sheen.
Not your typical bakery. I've gotten boxes in the past and I do think their pastries are top notch. I was in the area and stopped in becase I heard there was a summer elote croissant. Good, but I do wish the corn flavor was stronger. The place is not like any other bakery - more lab-like than inviting. The five stars are for my memories of what I remember being one of the better croissants in NYC.
Lisa W — Google review
Supermoon Bakehouse has a very edgy trendy interior mixed with such unique flavor combinations which is what drew me here in the first place. My friend and I had a hard time deciding what to get because everything seemed so interesting. We went with the strawberry matcha croissant, Banana pudding cruffin, and white Sesame, honeycomb & sweet soy gelato. We started by tasting the gelato which wasn't as punchy in flavor as we had hoped. The banana cruffin had great banana custard filling but we wished the textural difference between the pudding and the crisp croissant was more drastic. The matcha strawberry croissant was my personal favorite. ACTUAL matcha flavor which is hard to find nowadays and the croissant was so buttery and held its own against the sweetness of the strawberry! After trying everything else and the gelato melted a little the flavors popped out more! Definitely give this place a shot if you want to try new and interesting flavors!!

I love creative bakeries like this, who don't settle for the ordinary and try the daring. I gave their chilli croissant and the ube eclair a try. The chilli croissant had a nice flaky texture, as you would expect from any good bakery. The chilli cream cheese was inserted in the middle of the croissant, which meant it wasn't evenly distributed. The flavours were nice though and it's worth trying for something different. The ube eclair was done well. The choux pastry was just right. The uber icing and ube centre was just the right level of sweetness, with little candy pieces decorated on top, giving a nice crunchy texture. It was certainly the highlight. Would definitely recommend stopping by to try their creations. Not cheap, but it's all about the art.

Got the spicy nyc croissant (savory, not really spicey, has cream cheese inside with hints of black pepper), and scallion pancake Danish (i like this savory croissant, not spicey, has nice crunch texture, very good, would get this again) Thai tea eclair also very good, tasty, taste just like Thai tea 😁 I was able to sit inside, limited seating. Also it gets busy, so go early, things could sell out and they will post a sold out label in front of the items. I don't go often, but every time I come here there's always a variety of pastries to choose from sweet to savory and all good and worth trying.
Jason M — Google review
Admittedly, social media brought me here, but—unlike other TikTok inspired food journeys—this was well worth it. I see some of the reviews touch on the brutalist architecture of the store, and I understand if that’s not your vibe but I personally loved it: I felt like I was in some video game or sci-fi 80s movie that involved dark warehouses and hidden pastries… although the pastry isn’t hidden: a lineup of croissants, eclairs, cookies and more are displayed along the counter and the very pleasant (and patient) pastry experts behind the counter and very sweet about helping you make a choice. I went with the ube eclair, which is probably the best eclair I’ve ever had. All of their treats are very pretty, but this one has an equally vibrant purple filling and the flavors were the perfect balance of buttery, salty, creamy and sweet. Fully intend on returning because I almost went for the Thai tea eclair and now I want it more.
Katherine S — Google review
Talk about cool…. This place gives retro-futuristic vibes, like I could see a robot serving up the orders but also an actual really cool human waitress. The customer divide was nice and the pastries were even better. I do not like eclairs at all - or so I thought. The Thai tea eclair was soooo good. I also got the strawberry matcha latte croissant and it was divine. The strawberry flavor alone was so delicious like strawberry milk. I love how they were sold out of things but still had a good selection left by the end of the day and it wasn’t stale. Will definitely be back here. It’s not your average bakery
Kenni — Google review
Average pastries. Nothing to write home about. Not very good croissants honestly the fillings are a hit or miss. Blueberry/rosemary was VERY strong on the rosemary way too overpowering. Strawberry matcha was filling was good. The cruffin was okay. Just not worth the hype or price in my opinion. Very cute for pictures though if you care about that.

Unfortunately did not have the greatest experience. Got 2 ice cream sandwiches which came to about $24 and the ice cream was melting before even opening the packet. They did add seating in the front so we were able to sit and eat there but it was a mess since the ice cream was essentially soup. There also wasn’t enough staffing to do the work in the back and mind the front so they weren’t helpful with quality control, we ended up asking for spoons because it was spilling out the of package and onto the table. Taste wise, the sandwich part was great, just wish we got to experience it as it was meant to be.

Doughnuttery is a popular spot in Chelsea Market, offering hot, bite-sized donuts coated in a variety of uniquely flavored sugars. The menu features an array of traditional and non-traditional flavors, from the classic Cinnamon Sugar to the adventurous Spicy Rooster with sriracha, maple, and lime. Visitors can also indulge in dipping sauces like raspberry balsamic and beer caramel for an enhanced flavor experience.
We arrived around 1 PM, after lunch, and there was no line at all. We ordered a box of six, and every single one was delicious and perfectly crispy. We tried the cookies and cream and the cinnamon sugar, both were amazing! I wish I had bought more. It’s Kim Kardashian’s favorite for a reason! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves donuts or wants to try something special.
Larissa R — Google review
Doughnuttery is a cute mini doughnut shop. They have a huge number of flavors, which is pretty awesome. We ended up getting a 12 pack so we could try 4 different flavors. They were good. I do think the flavors could be more intense. You mostly get the flavor of a sugar doughnut. We tried s'mores, chai me to the moon, vanilla glaze drizzle with rainbow sprinkles, and just sugar. They were fresh and tasty. But again. The flavors could use a bit of amping up.
Ogechi S — Google review
Visited the delightful spot while visiting the Chelsea Marketplace. It was tucked away in a corner of the shop, depending on which way you enter. Small but cute shop with menu displays and drink options. I ordered 6 dresses nuts for $6. They did offer other quantity options, but I started out slow. As I waited to order donuts were being freshly made in front of me. I loved being able to watch the process from beginning to end. I ordered cinnamon and apple cider, which were both good! They weren’t aye right away but still tasted really good, I could only imagine how much better they would’ve been fresh.

Doughnuttery is located in the Chelsea Market. They made fresh mini donuts on the spot and you get to pick what flavors you want. Great sweet snack spot if your craving for a sugary bite. I recommend eating it fresh while it's hot. Some flavors can be enhanced though.

Hot fresh, melt in your mouth donuts! We ordered 6 with half apple cider and half cinnamon sugar. LOVED the cinnamon sugar, and honestly we’d eat these donuts plain too. A must have around the city

Every time I stop by Chelsea Market, I can’t resist picking up a donut or two at Doughnuttery. The bite size is perfect to snack on, so you still have space to try out other food in Chelsea Market. They have a cute machine popping out deep-fried donuts every minute. Every donut is guaranteed to served warm and fresh. I enjoy its pillowy and squishy texture. Most of the flavors I tried are rather subtle. Here is my preference: (1) Lemon (2) Pistachio Lavender, Pumpkin Spice (seasonal) (3) Chocolate Glaze, Cookies & Cream (4) Chai, Apple Cider
Ruby C — Google review
The staff was super friendly and made several recommendations. We ordered a 25 piece and a 12. They were so delicious. We thought we would have extra to take home but surely did not. The 4 of us demolished every single one. Our favs were the apple, cookies and cream, and cinnamon sugar.
Shi G — Google review
Doughnuttery has a cute concept of customizing mini donut holes with a variety of sugar flavors. We tried the Paris Time and Floral Power, both of which were floral flavors. They tasted good especially since their donuts are nice and fresh, but I don't think they're special. If you're in Chelsea market you might as well try them, but I can't really say that they are worth a trip on their own. Still, they have decent doughnuts.

Dough, a renowned doughnut spot in New York City, originally located in Bed-Stuy and now moved to a new location, is known for its top-notch sweet treats. Their doughnuts have a crispy exterior and soft interior that sets them apart. Made with brioche-type dough prepared throughout the day, their donuts come in various flavors including the popular hibiscus donut which strikes a perfect balance of sweetness and fruitiness.
Needed something sweet and happened upon Dough. A charming little bakery. I love doughnuts. I got the Cinnamon Sugar and Hibiscus. I really liked the Cinnamon Sugar I feel like I tasted tge slightest hint of cardamom. The Hibiscus icing didn't really taste of anything. I'm curious to go back and try a filled doughnut.
Sheila G — Google review
First time at Dough on a friend’s recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint. So many flavors that it was hard to choose, but a staff member helped me pick the Nutella-filled doughnut—fluffy dough, rich filling, not too sweet. I’ll be back to try more flavors.
Wattanachai C — Google review
Dough Doughnuts never disappoint. They are larger than regular donuts and are super flavorful. They have everything from classic glazed flavor to Mango passion fruit. My favorite is the Cafe Au Lait donut. Very rich in flavor. There is no seating. They have a couple of tees for purchase. They also sell hot and cold drinks. Definitely a get in, buy what you want, and get out situation, since it's so small in there. The donut tasted fresh, moist. Not stale at all, even though it was late afternoon.
Ana C — Google review
I ate this blueberry lemon square thing, I liked it flavor wise. It felt heavy in the tummy. I ate 1/3 of a mocha chocolate almond crunch donut. This donut is big and dense. While I recognize it is good as food, it is not what I'm looking for in a donut at the moment after eating the square thingy. It has a denser bread like texture. My buddy ate the rest of it, he loves it.

Vegan donut options! It’s hard to find a vegan donut place with fluffy non-baked textured donuts. This place had 5 vegan ones to choose from. It was recommended we come before noon in case the vegan ones sell out, but you can call ahead and ask for them too (which is a great option, but we just went in before 11am and took the risk). These donuts taste like and have the texture of proper donuts. I got the cookie crumble chocolate filled donut, the passion fruit glaze and the plain glazed donuts. It came to $20 USD for all 3 large donuts. I’ve only eaten the filled donut so far, but it’s AMAZING! The service was also fantastic and the person serving us was super helpful and personable. Great service and vegan donuts. This place is for take-away, so there’s no seating area.

Amazing donuts! We got cinnamon sugar, hibiscus and chocolate cocoa nibs. They are the most light and fluffy donuts. Great flavor and so pretty. The server was so kind and fun. We are visiting from Seattle and had a fun chat! Definitely try them out!

This was definitely a great find so kudos to my wife for scoping this place out. When we arrived, they were just about to begin restocks but the worker was so nice, he helped take our order anyway and get us out in seconds. The cool thing was that what my wife wanted was one of the items they needed to replenish and he quickly grabbed her a fresh new donut so she didn't have to wait 10 minutes. I went simple and got a cinnamon sugar donut. And oh my, how delicious it was. I would have loved a little more sugar, but it was filled very nicely. It also had such amazing fluffiness. I couldn't believe how massive the donut was. Highly recommend trying this place out. All their donuts look so great!

Holy moly, these things are incredible! My wife stumbled upon this place while hanging out at the Today Show plaza. We have looked for vegan food and snacks while in the city but Dough Doughnuts was not on our list. She brought me back a couple and wow, so good, best vegan doughnuts I've had... and I've tried a few. They're huge, like I have a big mouth and it wasn't easy. Definitely not eating a doughnut with a fork and knife. The texture is spot on, taste was excellent, and super filling. What a treat, if you're vegan and looking for something sweet, check this place out. I have tickets to Six at 2 PM today. I might be snoozing through the whole show. These doughnuts are going to get me later. Oh well, doughnuts are more important than some show anyway.

Daily Provisions in the West Village is a small but bustling spot known for its delectable pastries and savory croissants. The Everything Croissant, filled with cream cheese, is a standout item that's worth trying. Despite the slightly high prices, the quality of food and attentive service make it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. The cruller of the month, featuring passionfruit coconut flavor, has received rave reviews for its delicious taste.
Perfectly cooked egg on a perfectly fluffy bun with thick cut bacon - excellent execution! Delicious latte - they offer decaf too! And the maple cruller is moist and fluffy. They really know what they're doing here! I thought I'd be a bit "bogged down" after this meal and here I am, wondering if I should order a second sandwich..! No hype here, just quality! Plus the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, with a huge people watching window seating area.

Very friendly prompt service. Had the tuna salad sandwich, oatmeal cookie and a coffee for lunch. I work around the corner. Will be back for sure. Highly recommend.
Michael F — Google review
On this rainy evening, when New York had emptied out and the streets felt steeped in a Woody Allen melancholy, I decided to have dinner at Daily Provisions — the legendary café concept by Danny Meyer. How beautiful that signature blue looks in the daytime — when all of Manhattan, in good spirits, rushes in for coffee, pastries, and breakfast, wrapped in warmth, smiles, and the aroma of espresso. And how quietly sad and lonely the city can feel on a dreary night like this. But then — a kind staff member greeted me with a morning-like smile. It made everything feel warmer. He didn’t glance at the clock, though it was close to closing time. He simply kept working. His colleague softly sang along to sunny, feel-good songs as she cleared tables and brought me my food. There were three of us in the café. Each quietly alone, but the care from the team gave hope — like something out of a Françoise Sagan novel — that maybe everything will be okay. The matcha was nice. The cup, however, had visible dishwasher marks — it’s probably time to refresh the tableware, dear team. I ordered three sides: — carrots with balsamic, — potatoes with parmesan, — and brussels sprouts. It seemed the sprouts had a rough day—overcooked and charred. Still, the space was clean and cozy, and I’m grateful it was open past 5 PM — otherwise, I would’ve been left without dinner. Also, a note: the restroom was clean and tidy. And that’s always a good sign.
Kristina Z — Google review
While the food was good this location in particular was not clean compared to the others ones I've been to with fruit flies and dirty dishes scattered throughout the restaurant. Seating was also lmited with a whole slew of laptops so had to take my order and eat elsewhere. Go to the one in Hudson yards instead.

Their sausage, egg, and cheese is solid, comforting and well done, but the real stars are the cinnamon and maple crullers, which were so delicious. Perfectly light, sweet, and addictive. Dominique Ansel Bakery, located in SoHo, is a must-visit for those with a sweet tooth. This bakery-cafe, led by the renowned pastry chef Dominique Ansel, offers an array of classic French pastries and unique creations that are exclusive to this establishment. While you may encounter a line at the entrance, the wait is well worth it once you step inside.
This Bakery was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to New York! Crumpets were phenomenal, I ordered the special that had a strawberry cream filling (that I absolutely loved!) but there’s plenty of options available and they all look delicious. Coffee was great as well and they had veggie milks available. Perfect place for a to go order, but definitely worth staying for a while as the place is really cozy and beautiful.

Disclaimer: I came near closing time and I’ve heard that there’s a big difference in quality between early visits and late visits, with items tasting better earlier in the day. We got a DKA (Dominique’s kouign amann) and a cronut and it ended up being almost $16. The flavors of the two were good but neither were flaky at all. No flakes to be found. I was very disappointed in the lack of croissant texture. I don’t think I will return as I didn’t enjoy the “must-try” items and it was expensive. The waiter was also nice but the person manning the register was kind of rushing to get us out of the restaurant.

Ansel Bakery is a true NYC classic! Their Cronut is really good, a little too sweet for me, but still delicious. I love their cookie shot with the milk inside! There’s plenty of seating toward the back, which is nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Definitely worth checking out at least once, they have lots of other great treats too!

Visiting was such a joyful experience. I loved the pumpkin cronut and I do not like pumpkin- it's that good! I also had avo toast which was a work of art and tasted amazing. Eating in flower garden was amazing. But the thing that really stood out was the service. The two men behind the counter were so friendly, patient and helpful- yes in NYC! You could tell they really enjoy what they do. This is a must visit in Soho.
Lisa C — Google review
While traveling around Manhattan, hitting some bakeries and coffee shops, I stopped in at Dominique Ansel. It came highly recommended, and is the home of the original cronut, so I knew it had to be on the list to visit. There was quite a selection of options, and the cronut was pretty special. They even had a cute little outdoor garden space to sit and enjoy our food. It took them a while to get us everything we ordered, but all in all, I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

I’m really surprised by the fact that this place only has a 4.3. It definitely deserves much much more. Dominique is a master and it shows in the craft. I remember the first time I ever had the Dominique’s Kouign Amman when they opened up a location in the United Kingdom, and I was smitten. I even had a pack of 24 baked fresh for someone extremely important in my life the very next week. At that time, I tried their cronut for the first time and I was blown away. A lot of people say that it’s too sweet for them, but a classic doughnut is usually pretty sweet. The execution on the pastry is phenomenal. The creativity is world class. We got the breakfast sandwich and the quiche. Both used to techniques in cooking egg that is very difficult to find outside of Paris. The pistachio filled pastry genuinely had the most intense pistachio flavour I have ever had in any item. The Kouign Amann is gorgeous. I absolutely love how the caramelization developed the entirety of the pastry rather than having a thick toffee like layer at the bottom that I find difficult to chew. For me, it is the gold standard. I do wish that the bakery, were set up in a nicer way in terms of the seating. But in the middle of New York City, I can understand that that is difficult given how competitive real estate is, and how big their kitchen needs to be to accommodate a huge variety of excellent pastries that they offer. I did find the outside patio area to be really unique because there were many birds flying around.

My husband and I would try random items at least once a month and we honestly never had a bad item from the menu, even the spinach quiche is 👌🏽. I guess the turnover of items contributes to the freshness and quality of the selections that they have available for the day. must visit? yes! make it a part of your routine? definitely! ☺️

Fair but nothing to write home about. The famed DKA (Dominique Kouign Amann) pales in comparison to the ones at La Maison d'lsabelle of Paris which won best croissant in Paris of 2018. The flavor of the DKA has a balanced caramel sweetness. However, the dough lacks enough butter and the shape prevents it from being crispy all across the outside, it's not a flat circle but poofy. The cronut is fun (although the icing makes it too sweet) and the watermelon sorbet refreshing. Service is professional. The atmosphere in the garden is especially airy.

Dough Doughnuts is a popular spot with multiple locations in NYC, offering a wide range of housemade donuts with creative glazes and fillings. Their year-round menu includes favorites like Hibiscus and Dulce de Leche, while seasonal options like Blood Orange, S'mores, and Key Lime are also available. They even have limited-time offerings like the Hot Honey Mango Doughnutz.
A small but unique donut place. The flavors are different, but donuts are a large size. I could never finish them in one sitting. They also have some muffins and serve coffee as well. There is some seating available but I wouldn't say this is a place to sit and work from. Some fun donut flavors are "Mocha Almond Crunch" and "Dulce de Leche". They also have Boston Creme. The donuts always taste fresh and airy. My fave is the Cafe Au Lait. Found out that they cater too, in case you need a sweets table. I hope they continue staying open later hours during the summer.

These were the thickest donuts I've ever had and felt super heavy and super sweet. As a donut lover, I was surprised to find it difficult to finish even one. The coffee was great, but the donuts weren't my type. Also, $6 for a single donut seemed very pricey.

This is easily my favorite donut spot in all of new york. These donuts are such an interesting cross between fluffy and cakey ans the icing is delicious. Theyre about $6/7 per donut but well worth it theyre about the size of 2 or 3 normal donuts.

The cheesecake donut is easily one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. That cream in the middle was mind blowing. I tried the blueberry lemon donut as well. At first it was just ehhh, but after the second bite the flavors exploded in my mouth. I will be returning to this shop. Its was amazing. The staff is kind as well. Sharing their favorites and giving opinions.

I would say this is a more unique style of donuts. They have a very nice and unique flavors to choose from. I got Dulce De Leche - Almonds. I have to say I did t get much of that Dulce De Leche flavor from the frosting the dough of the donut was the overwhelming flavor here. It’s not bad I really enjoyed the taste but I would not consider this a normal donut. It’s more on the cake batter side it’s more dense and more doughy. The donuts I like is light, fluffy and airy and you can taste that frosting. Overall still a good donut and they have some vegan options and they taste really good too. You ca t go wrong with a donut here I highly recommend you try it for yourself but for me I’d prefer a different type of donuts.

Dough Doughnuts are honestly the best donuts I’ve ever had. So fresh, soft, and full of flavor—each bite was pure happiness. If you’re in NYC and love donuts, this place is a must-try!
Léo D — Google review
Donut texture is ok, but the advertised flavor doesn't deliver its promise and needs more product testing/R&D. This photo was taken during our first visit and out of yhe six donuts only the hibiscus stood out.
Fille D — Google review
If you want to try a spectacular donut, this is the place. I loved the flavor of the dough and the different toppings it had. My best recommendation is that they don't come very late so they have a greater variety of flavors. The flavor, besides being fresh, is not too sweet. They also have different drinks to combine with your donut. The only thing they didn't have was hand sanitizer, for people like me who are a little stubborn before eating.

Alimama Tea is a trendy cafe in Chinatown that offers a delightful array of treats, including mochi donuts, cream puffs, and boba tea. The mochi donuts come in various flavors such as matcha, ube, and cereal and are known for their stretchy texture. The menu also features vegan and gluten-free options. The modern interior creates a relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy the creative desserts and drinks.
The milk tea cream puffs are so good and such a unique idea. The drink I took was the lychee rose and it was amazing. Definitely go there!
Tal C — Google review
Hokkaido milk cream puff for only $1, and black sesame mochi donut that tastes like 芝麻糊 (black sesame paste)… this tiny store in Chinatown has totally won me over. I’ve tasted a lot of cream puffs around NYC, but Alimama Tea wins for their perfect choux and flavor lineup. Their cream puffs were huge irl, and the custard-to-choux pastry ratio was done right. *Cream Puff $4.50 - 5.50 I couldn’t stop munching on the yuzu one, so tart and refreshing with a yuzu curd filling. The boba flavor was not too sweet and packed with mini boba. Matcha was the winner (as always). *Mochi Donut $4.50 - 5.50 The roasted black sesame glaze was rich, nutty, and pleasantly grainy. It reminded me of chinese black sesame paste dessert which I loved. What surprised me most was the strawberry flavor. It didn’t taste artificial at all, unlike the ones I’ve had at other donut spots. The brulee donut was coated in a caramelized sugar glaze that left a gold shimmer on my lips. Their mochi donuts had a dense yet chewy texture. *Hokkaido Custard Mini Cream Puff $1 each (min. 6 pcs) Despite their small size, they didn’t skimp on the filling! Each one was packed with luscious, creamy custard made from Hokkaido milk, all wrapped in a crispy shell. *Lychee Rose $7 While I had higher expectations for their sweets, this lychee rose drink actually blew me away! I didn’t even ask for less sugar, but the sweetness level was just right. It was made with lychee purée, coconut water, rose, and topped with real lychee. The boba scene is competitive in Chinatown, but I’d come back just for this drink.

This place is a super cute ٩(^‿^)۶ spot with delicious and crispy cream puffs and chewy mochi donuts! We were looking for a break from the muggy weather outside and the drinks were a perfect pick-me-up. We got the Vietnamese cold brew, royal milk tea, and reserve milk tea (limited time). We also got the milk tea cream puff and onyx mochi donut, which had dark chocolate cream. They were both delicious and the flavors were not too sweet. Service was fast even when there were a lot of customers.

Our food tour guide took us here and we tried the donut bites, which were delicious. The mochi ingredient definitely gives them a unique taste and may not be to everybody’s liking, but we enjoyed them very much.

Terrible donuts. I don’t recommend to eat this. I over pay and the quality of the donuts decrease. Even Dunkin Donute taste better. Brought two donuts and expect to be chewy and soft. But end up chewing hard, and dry. Don’t waste your hope like I did. We share with others and they couldn’t chew it at all.

The strawberry mochi donut was delicious!! So chewy and perfectly 🍓 strawberry flavored. We also had the delightful boba milk tea cream puff and a Royal Milk Tea and Mix Berry Hibiscus tea with boba. They were gorgeous and refreshing and so yummy!

Great tasting milk tea and cream puffs in Chinatown! Definitely worth a visit! The Royal Milk Tea with Boba was great, I got it with 50% sugar and it was still sweet enough for me. It also has the mini boba which taste so good. The cream puffs were also good, I got the match and milk tea ones. Service was quick and the people were friendly. Price is also very reasonable.

Underwest Donuts is a unique doughnut shop located inside a car wash in Hells Kitchen, NYC. The bakery gained attention for its halva doughnut, a twist on the Middle Eastern dessert. Their sugared and glazed cake doughnuts come in flavors like coco raspberry and espresso bean. Despite the limited seating, visitors praise the delicious treats and friendly staff.
Found this place by accident a few years ago, but it is home to my favorite cake donuts in the city. (Stop by Dough for the best yeast donuts.) Underwent wins points for creative location... Wedged into a car wash, auto care store... But the donuts are fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The Maple Bacon Waffle is awesome and anything covered in chocolate is also a win.
Jennifer C — Google review
I had the maple waffle donut and the chocolate ice cream. The chocolate ice cream was actually phenomenal. The maple waffle donut was also super good, but compared to the ice cream, underperformed. It's kind of funny that the ice cream was what was impressive since this is a DONUT shop, but nevertheless. It's in a car wash, which is sort of strange - there's limited seating, so not really intended for big groups. Lastly, the staff there was super nice!
Lesley C — Google review
Weird: donuts at a car wash but hey, it’s NYC, we have to conserve space! The donuts are good & fresh but on the smaller side and overpriced so only 3 stars. The “Car Wash” donut is good, with just a hint of lavender which makes you feel like your being adventurous even when you really are not. The Dark Chocolate is very good- almost excellent. Other flavors include but are not limited to: Maple Waffle, Halva, and Coconut Lime, Cinnamon, and Plain. Check them out next time you’re at the Intrepid Museum.

It's hidden inside of the Westside Highway Car Wash, but their donuts are yummy! I got the Coco Raspberry Donut, and those are made fresh to order! Best donut I've ever had.....warm and soft!!!! I also enjoyed the coco raspberry powder!!!

First, we had the Celebration Donut, which was funfetti cake, dipped in chocolate with lots of fun sprinkles, plus some cotton candy in the middle. This cake donut was amazing but also really filling. It was such a fun surprise because we saw the chocolate, and then we bit into it and saw the funfetti cake and freaked out. It seriously just puts a smile on your face. Everything should have colorful sprinkles and funfetti because it just makes you happy. Second, we had the Mulled Cider Donut. It smelled so good and tasted like straight-up Thanksgiving with a strong nutmeg flavor. All of Underwest's donuts have a consistent texture, where it sort of melts in your mouth. Sometimes we like it and sometimes we don't , but it works well with the Mulled Cider flavor. It kind of creates a little bit of film on the roof of your mouth, which is sometimes unfortunate.

My dad buys donuts from this place, and let me tell you, they're absolutely delicious! Soft, fluffy, and downright perfect. What initially appears to be a hole in a way expands into a nice, quaint establishment. Though donuts are right when you walk in, it seems that this is just one of the many layers that this place inhabits. I would love to go back and enjoy the diner vibe that it presents. Also, the donuts are standard, but quite delicious. Atmosphere in there is on point. I recommend their crullers.

Win Son Bakery is a laid-back neighborhood spot that offers inventive twists on Taiwanese classics for brunch and dinner. The bakery, an offshoot of the original Win Son restaurant, is known for its acclaimed millet mochi donut created by pastry chef Danielle Spencer.
Incredible Taiwanese-American Bakery. Mochi donut is to die for, unlike any other place. The scallion pancake wrapped sandwiches are also killer. My go to is the Juicai package and add bacon and of course, the BEC is yum as well. Lately I tried the shrimp milk bun (available after 3:30) and that was amazing as well. Top tier spot! It is definitely fusion so I wouldn’t go in with expectations for it to be authentic Taiwanese food because that’s just not what it is. Lines are long on the weekends but it does move fast. It’s in my neighborhood so I like to go weekday afternoons after work — if you’re in the area on a weekday it’s perfect and there should be plenty of spots to sit outside.

EDIT: the Win Son Bakery team responded pretty quickly when I tagged them on socials about the issue I initially posted below. They were actually very kind and rather quick about it (responded same day). They moved just as fast during the refund process (issued it within the same hour I filed my info on a claim). Of course ideally the mix up wouldn’t happen in the first place but their customer service was pretty great after the fact. - I’ve gone to this place a few times and the food is always good and service is usually great but today I had a small off experience. I had gotten up to grab a to go box for the rest of my food. I had maybe been gone literally like 40 seconds and when I came back someone had thrown all the food out. I suppose I could have asked the girls next to me to watch it just in case but I felt like there was a decent amount of food left and one item I wasn’t even really touched (I took one bite of it) and it was thrown out. I think what bothered me the most though was the server who threw it out realized when I was standing there with a new to go box kind of confused and bummed and there wasn’t really an acknowledgement that it was a mistake. He just kind of said “oh I’ll take that,” grabbed my box, and threw that out too…. weird encounter and wasn’t really pleasant. I’m bummed because I paid full price for a food item I didn’t get to really eat and wanted to save for later and it ended up in the garbage.

I stopped by Win Son for brunch. The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly. I ordered the fried chicken box and it was really good! Well-seasoned, crispy and juicy. I would recommend this place located in the hip neighborhood of Bushwick on Graham Ave. Outdoor seating is also available.

Win Son Bakery is a true gem in Brooklyn!! everything I've tried has been so good, but I have to give a special shoutout to their BEC scallion pancakes. The pork is insanely flavorful and tender, and the scallion pancake sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese? A total game-changer. Crispy, savory, satisfying... I could eat it every day. Their menu is creative with bold flavors. Everything is made with care and intention you can really taste it. If you're in Brooklyn and craving something unique and delicious, Win Son Bakery is a must. Trust me go hungry!
Steffanie G — Google review
this was a bit disappointing, especially with how many good things I've heard about it. I didn't dislike the food at all, it wasn't bad, but I also didn't love it either. the thing is: none of the places I went to in New York have been BAD, but this is one of the places that I won't be going back to. even if I was super craving Taiwanese food, I don't think this place properly satisfies that itch. maybe for people who've never had Taiwanese food before?

This review is about sustainability! ☺️ By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Which is why I so appreciate, that in this waterfront city, you choose to offer your customers the dignity of real silverware, ceramic mugs, and glasses for water. I love to support businesses that are mindful of our impact on the environment, locally and globally. So thank you for setting an example of how a café can operate sustainably. I hope more local spots follow suit! And of course, delicious food and a perfect cappuccino.

So fun and tasty I came here twice during my short 3 day stay in Brooklyn. Playful Chinese-fusion bakery treats. Get the pancake wraps. Other overlooked items are the soymilk (with dough sticks to dip in) and asian salads Trrated myself with a red rice donut too.
Jason M — Google review
A modern and innovative bakery with strong potential to keep growing. Order: Scallion pancake cheese and egg, mochi donut, fan taun, nian ago sesame fig, jasmine lavender milk tea, latte = $53~ The scallion pancake and mochi donut I've seen meet viral status on social media, for the amount of hype it's received Id say it's more the innovation behind it that's appealing than the taste. Nothing extraordinarily groundbreaking but it's an interesting refreshing twist to try. Same goes to the humble fan taun. What my friend and I mutually agreed is absolutely delicious is the seasonal nian gao fig pastry. Nian gao batter, layered with creamy custard, fig jam and topped with smooth mascoropone cream and figs - WOW. You don't have to be a sweet tooth to enjoy this, you just need to love yourself enough to treat yourself with this. Kudos to the pastry chef. The drinks itself was fine but I felt the food does the storytelling here. I'd revisit to give the menu another shot out of curiosity. This place is for those who want to broaden their taste palette.

This is my go-to spot for late-night cravings. The deals are unbeatable—from the crazy donut special to the double bacon cheeseburger. I’m giving the food five stars because, for the price, it’s a solid 5/5. Let’s be real—you’re not getting a world-class burger with fries for $6.50. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the mozzarella sticks.

There is something special about watching Anything Else Guy at work. When he makes doughnuts, it feels like more than baking. There is focus, rhythm, and care in every motion. The dough seems to rise differently when he is behind the counter, almost like it knows it’s in good hands. When he brews a cappuccino, the sound of the steam wand and the aroma of fresh coffee blend into something calm and familiar. His presence fills the shop with a quiet energy that makes the morning feel right. He doesn’t just prepare food and drinks. He creates a small experience of warmth and calm for everyone who walks in. Vibe check: immaculate Aura: golden brown with a calm hum of early morning peace Would I come back: already planning to!

Let me tell you about the experience I had here a while ago. I downloaded the app Too Good to Go which allows you to grab the leftover food for cheaper. I was nervous coming in with that app because it’s not as popular here locally. When I came in, the guy understood that I placed an order with the app. He told other coworker that it was why I was there. He smiled at me and said that he will give me good donuts. Mind you there were several chocolate covered and glazed donuts on the display. I was sure he was gonna give me those. About ten -fifteen minutes go by and this guy comes out with a big bag of something. He continues to smile at me as if he did me the biggest favor or was going to give me the whole shop for free. He hands me that bag and…. DISSAPOINTMENT!!! He just gave me a bunch of plain bagels that looked so old and stale I think a homeless person wouldn’t touch those. It was absolutely RIDICULOUS. Mind you the guy was smiling. I think he totally knew what joke he was playing on me and it was fun for him to give me expired stale donuts instead of leftover glazed and chocolate ones which he for sure had. I ended up throwing those in the nearest dumpster. Since then I haven’t stepped foot in that shop and will never do. Save yourself tome and money because I’m sure when they serve you those donuts or pastries they will give you the oldest bunch first.

2025 update: Been coming here for 2 years and have eaten an estimated 40 maple glazed donuts, it's one of the best donuts in NY. They modernized the shop and have an incredible choco chip cookie now. The coffee is their only weakness--I drink mine black and want more complexity. -- What to get--coconut donut and an iced coffee for ~$7. How it turned out: small batched, old fashioned donuts with a good chew. Generous size and very satisfying. I do feel a little guilty eating these, wish they were a bit smaller so I could try a variety.

Ordered a maple donut. I like the consistency, is not doughy. Enough crisp on the outer part and chewy on the inside. Staffs are friendly and give good recommendations based on your taste. Highly recommend to visit!!!

Can’t say that I agree with Infatuation’s chocolate cookie rating #5, as my cookie felt like it was way too bitter for it to be good. Good crisp and not too dense. Had a bagel here today. Everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel appeared hand-rolled and baked well, with a nice crispy outer crust and soft interior. The bagel was a bit more chewy than I'd like but not I'd prefer that to being too bready. The bagel was fairly small but dense which is good. Seasoned well. I enjoyed the bagel but there are many great options in NYC. Could have more vegan options

A true New York classic that honors bread as craft. The rye loaf and black-and-white cookie are benchmarks of tradition — hearty, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. Service carries the warmth of an old neighborhood shop, and the aroma of fresh bread fills the air. Seating is minimal and prices have crept upward, but quality remains unmatched. A reliable, time-honored bakery where every loaf tells a story.

Such a slept on choc chip cookie. Beats maman + levain easily if you like slight crunchy outside and chewy inner. The pistachio croissant was pretty good too

Fantastic local bakery! They have everything — pastries, bagels, bialys, cakes, breads, babkas, you name it. I loved my morning bun. It’s a flakey, gooey cinnamon pastry I’ll definitely be getting again. You can’t miss here! Highly recommend.

Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery is a renowned cafe with multiple locations in New York City, offering an array of delectable treats such as cakes, brownies, pastries, and cookies. The name "Mah-Ze-Dahr" translates to the essence of food in Urdu, reflecting the bakery's commitment to providing a unique culinary experience. Founded by Umber Ahmad in 2014, this establishment has gained recognition for its exceptional cheesecake and The Devil in Ganache chocolate cake.
Stumbled into this bakery on a rainy nyc Saturday. The line was long but we got through it quickly. There is additional seating in the hallway in the back. The owner is so friendly and you can tell they really care about customer experience. We will be back again and again for years to come!

Not what it used to be. Maybe my memory betrays me, but this old-fashioned donut is way sweeter and greasier than a few years ago. It’s contrary to Mah-Ze-Dahr’s philosophy of “not too sweet”. I stopped coming here because they never had the old-fashioned donuts whenever I visited—the brioche donuts are not a substitute. I was ecstatic to see it in the display case as it has been years since I had it, but it’s just not the same. Still pretty good though.

In a world that moves too fast, this little coffee shop feels like a beautiful pause. The beans they use are of the finest quality — rich, aromatic, and full of character. Every cup is crafted with such care that it feels less like a routine and more like a small ritual. The baristas greet you not just with skill, but with genuine kindness, making each visit a reminder that good coffee and good people make all the difference. This has become my daily sanctuary, a place where my coffee break turns into a moment of inspiration and energy to embrace the day ahead. Grateful to have such a gem in the neighborhood!

Amazing pastry! We loved this bakery. We stopped on our way and did not have high expectations. We took some pastry to go and it was amazing! We tried the traditional donut and brioche and seriously - so good! Highly recommend this bakery!

A very cute Cafe’ with Pastries, Croissants, Cakes and so much more. Very homely and nice ambience and a very kind and responsive staff. We tried Iced Mocha, Latte’, Coffee Cake and more… The coffee cake was really nice, very subtle level of sweetness and flavor. The Mocha was very good as well. If You’re walking about in the area, this is a GREAT place to stop by, grab some coffee and cake, chill.. Definitely recommend a good place to wind down and enjoy something sweet…

Their hospitality is unmatched! We placed an order for coffee and dessert and there was some confusion regarding the coffee order and they didn’t ring us up for it. And when we asked, they just gave it to us on the house despite us offering to pay! After paying for our order, we decided to buy their famous donut.. which they also gave on the house. This kind of service and hospitality are rare and create a strong sense of customer loyalty. Their taste is as hyped but 20/10 marks for warmth and hospitality

Paid $5.17 for a cappuccino that’s not listed on menu. Small cup but nice flavor & aroma. Pastry selection is a bit limited. Looked like most customers came for the coffee. Cozy spot but unfortunately no restroom for an indoor cafe. There is also outdoor seating which appeared quite comfortable under shaded umbrellas. Service was quick with no wait… AVERAGE I say
Frugal C — Google review
An absolute gem! We were waiting for our dinner reservation around that area and wanted to grab a quick coffee! The mocha almond croissant (I couldn’t resist it though we had a nice dinner planned for in an hour) was delicious! And the coffee was great too. The staff were super friendly and attentive to everyone walking in. Can’t wait to go back to try their brioche donut!

Last summer, amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Kimberly Camara and Kevin Borja launched Kora, a delightful donut and dessert brand from their Woodside apartment. Drawing inspiration from Kimberly's Filipino heritage, Kora has quickly gained popularity with its unique offerings like brioche donuts filled with ube custard. The vibrant colors and creative toppings of their treats reflect Southeast Asian flavors such as pandan and coconut, making them not only delicious but also visually stunning.
What a great experience! It was my first visit and worth my morning walk. I anticipated a long line and was welcomed by the owners. They show how much they truly appreciate each and every customer. My favorite was the ube latte and ensaymada croissant, but all of their drinks and baked goods are phenomenal. I can't wait stop by again and try some more treats. Their entire team are so kind and make the wait worthwhile. I appreciate how organized the entire visit was- from the line outside, inside the store, the kitchen, check out, etc. They put a lot of thought into making it a seamless and enjoyable experience.

The donuts here are amazing! I think we got 5 in total today and they were so fresh. Everything was delicious!!! Def recommend coming here. The ube donut and apple fritter donut are a must. All the donuts were so light despite the fillings and weren’t overly sweet. Hoping to stop by soon again.
Kasang T — Google review
Had to try this place because of their flan, and they delivered. I'm not a fan of donuts, but I was surprised about the flakiness of the dough, also not too sweet nor greasy, paired with a good and firm flan.Definitely a must try. The lemon cookie was a last minute addition and tasted good. The Ube was also a nice surprise as it was the mango float (I wish they could make a plain custard one!). The only complaint is in the matcha cruller, too greasy for my taste. They open late and there are plenty of people in line even during the week. It's easier to get pastries later in the AM but past 11:30 AM they might be sold out. Kudos to one of the owner for trying to make sense of the line outside.

Amazing food! Creative and mouth watering flavor combinations! A lovely introduction to filipino culture! Love the atmosphere inside and the seating. Worth the hype and the line out the door that moves quickly, they’ve got the efficiency down! My fav pastry was the sugary butter cheese croissant! Will be coming back again and again
Meriam M — Google review
I had been meaning to try Kora for so long but kept missing the pop-ups. When I finally did go on a Sunday at 9am I anticipated the wait but the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful in coming out, explaining the wait, the process and giving us hope, answering questions on what they would likely have and what might sell out. I got inside about 10:15 and loved the space. The decor is very neutral toned and I recommend sitting if you can. Since there is currently a 6 pastry cap, I got the ube babka, coffee cruller, cinnamon cruller, spam pan suisse and leche flan donut. Every single one knocked my socks off. I have been to allot of bakeries, and several Michelin Star restaurants, but I can't think of any that compare to Kora's pastries in terms of variety of flavor, texture & dynamics of taste. The lofty, butter-rich steam air that is trapped inside each layer, the soft and supple textures of the bites was intoxicating. The spam pan suisse with pimento cheese had a touch of savory heat while the outer glaze added crispy, crunchy sweetness. The the braided babka touched with salt played well together with the sweet profile of the ube center. I am very partial to coffee/coffee cakes and the Coffee Cruller was my favorite. The outer layer and coffee is delicious but I could not believe how tender, cloud loft, buttery soft the inside was. Even if the pastries are sold out the cookies and coffee are sold throughout the day and the full glass storefront lets in plenty of light. It is going to be my go-to coffee shop. Also, I really appreciate the signs in front explaining the current situation with the facilities, projected waits on weekdays vs weekends, and the explanations of the multi-day processes it takes to prep elements that go into the pastries. PLEASE don't be upset if items are sold out as all new businesses have growing pains. Do your homework and plan for a 1.5-2 hour min window from the time you arrive to when you eat. You can taste the effort and artistry in each bite, so make time for the experience (just my input).

Ok, so I’m not the person that likes standing on a line for something, but I’m so happy I did. While waiting in line, someone kindly came and spoke to us and shared some Expectations such as respecting the neighbor businesses by leaving space open for the doors. Super sweet. Anyways, once the bakery opened their doors, they had us come in groups to keep order and give us a good experience. They have a huge window so you can see them preparing the goods. Everything looked amazing so I had to buy a few different ones to try. Faves are the flan one and the ube donut. Everything is tasty and beautiful. I also tried one of their signature drinks and even though I don’t like coffee, this one was amazing. All this to say, this place is beautiful, the staff is super nice and the goods are amazing. It’s a must and it’s worth the hype.

As a Queens native, I have been waiting to try Kora for years and finally got to try them out! I got there on a weekend around 9:30am and got inside by 10:30, which was expected. There was a worker who came out and greeted everyone, and also updated everyone on the timing/amount of pastries left which was very nice of them! Once I got in, I was greeted at the door and all of the workers were very hospitable! I truly appreciate their warm attitude during such busy shifts. I ordered 5 pastries since the limit is 5 and I got: the ube donut, the leche flan ni lola donut, ube babka swirl, passionfruit bun donut, and the ensaymada croissant. My #1 pick was definitely the leche flan ni lola donut!!! Absolute fire. The ube babka swirl was my 2nd favorite, do not sleep on it. The rest were also good, however, the ube donut was a little underwhelming in flavor and the passionfruit had a nice cream but the donut itself was very doughy in texture. I am a huge foodie and growing up in Queens, NYC, we are exposed to so many great bakeries including Filipino bakeries in Woodside. I love the flavors of Filipino pastries and desserts and I guess I was expecting a wow factor after waiting so long to try Kora. The leche flan donut, I would definitely order again. The rest, maybe not. But that is my preference and I would definitely come back to try the other pastries that I couldn’t try this time around!
Elif D — Google review
Would travel and line up to wait for Filipino pastries and coffee anytime. If you’re willing to do the same for food, Kora will be worth it! Right before the store opens, one of the owners and the staff will go outside to greet the waiting guests and brief them on how things will go. This was a nice touch as I didn’t feel so lost. I did anticipate a line and a wait. All in all? It took about almost an hour to get inside. Not bad of a wait, but I had company too. So that was a good way to let time pass. Once inside, it felt warm and welcoming. We got in line and someone from the counter will assist you to choose your pastries. They place the pastries on a “bilao” or tray/basket. Note: A max of only 6 pastries per guest. Then you reach the cashier and you can order a drink. Pay (and tip 😄💕) and then wait for your order to be boxed and name to be called (if you ordered a drink). My friend and I stayed a while to chat and enjoy the pastries. It’s a good idea to go with someone so you can each order other pastries and have a pastry tasting party! Haha I might be too lazy to type in each pastry we tried and share my comments, buttt so summarize: you won’t go wrong choosing any of the pastries! The hot Ube Latte complemented the sweetness of all the food we ate. Each piece was honestly not too sweet either. I had leftovers and will try to toast the croissant to have a little crunchy melted cheese top. 😍 would go back again!

Sullivan Street Bakery is an upscale Italian-inspired bakery known for its handcrafted breads, including multigrain and sesame varieties. In addition to their renowned bread, the bakery offers crispy pizza by the slice with unique toppings like shredded potato or cauliflower. Customers also rave about their pillowy bomboloni, Italian donuts filled with various flavors such as tart jam, chocolate, and lemon-scented vanilla cream.
Stopped by for the second time while my car is being serviced at Lexus. This is a very nice cozy bakery with comfortable seating. Great looking selection of pastries, breads and sandwiches. Today I had the scone with chocolate and an Americano coffee. Came with a small biscotti. Both were very good. Lots of take out business and many locals seem to sit in and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Several people doing business on their computers. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Definitely will go again.

West Side Diamond in the rough 👍👍 Sullivan’s has fresh baked breads, pizza, sandwiches, & wine. The breads will likely be the highlight since it is sold to restaurants in the area. It is a quaint spot with a hip crowd. PROS: 1) quality & freshness 2) good lunch options 3) wine & Mimosa is a nice touch 4) established on a quiet street 5) outdoor seating CONS: 1) uncomfortable chairs & stools 2) $5 for a donut. Ouch
Frugal C — Google review
On a particularly warm and golden Wednesday afternoon, a few friends and I made our way to Sullivan Street Bakery—a spot I had been meaning to visit for some time. Nestled on West 47th Street, the space had an inviting charm: sunlit interiors, rustic tiling, and that unmistakable scent of fresh bread weaving through the air. We ordered: – Strecci Pomodoro – simple, satisfying, and rich with the kind of flavor that speaks to well-honed craft. – Peach Pastry – golden, flaky, and gently sweet, with a seasonal brightness that landed just right. The food, without question, was enjoyable, and the interior carried a kind of quiet, rustic hospitality that made it easy to settle in. Unfortunately, the experience was dimmed by the service. The barista on duty was noticeably curt, almost dismissive, which shifted the energy in a way that was hard to ignore. And while I’m not one to linger on negatives, there’s something about service—especially in a place that celebrates warmth and craft—that shapes everything. Before we left, we had hoped to try another pastry, but what we saw gave us pause: multiple flies hovering near the display, some landing directly on the pastries. For a bakery of this reputation, it was unexpected—and honestly disappointing. I rarely feel compelled to voice critique, but in this case, the experience didn’t reflect what I had hoped. Still, I recognize the quality of their baked goods and the history behind the name. Perhaps it was just an off day. But in a city full of exceptional bakeries, the details—both in taste and in treatment—matter.

This is hands down the best focaccia bread I’ve had in New York, crispy on the outside, perfectly fluffy on the inside, and always fresh. Everything here is made with care, and it shows. The space is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot to journal or unwind in the morning. The staff, especially Spencer, are warm and friendly, adding to the overall experience. A true neighborhood gem.

A fabulous addition to my bread-adventures, I braved a walk through times square (which would be terrifying in any conditions) in horribly aggressive wind I swear to god it was like getting run over by a pack of bulls but anyway I survived and I made it and I followed the festive Sullivan Street flag into this fine establishment. I was greeted by a rush of warm, foccacia scented air and an array of beautiful baked things. All of their bread sounded great but I went with the Truccione! An interesting choice since I'm one person and I think it would feed a family of twelve (GREAT price considering that). I'm still working my way through it. It's nice and airy inside, soft, nutty, with a great crust. It's making things like this sandwich you see here possible. I'm over the moon with it. Excited to try more of their breads

This was a lovely unpretentious bakery to have breakfast in. I had the breakfast sandwich, which though my picture of it is unexciting, was delicious, with rich Gruyère’s cheese, sausage and egg in a flaky croissant. I also had a cup of tea, which came from a really nice tea brand called “In pursuit of tea” (which aptly I then pursued to try and find that brand to buy to take home whilst I was there, and then never found). I wish I could have been there longer to try the interesting looking pizzas and pastries, but I did take home a lemon ring doughnut, which even when eaten the next day was fresh, light and just sweet enough, and not greasy, a truly perfect doughnut. Staff were super friendly and there was a nice atmosphere, though probably the seating area could be a bit cosier. Overall, really outstanding baked goods, would definitely revisit.

Bear Donut, located in Koreatown, offers a unique twist on traditional donuts with its more cakey texture. The shop's colorful and cute interior adds to the experience of trying their delicious treats. Customers recommend trying the chocolate crunch donut and the sour cream scallion donut, which pleasantly surprised them with its sweet flavor. The mochi donuts are particularly praised for their chewy texture and balanced sweetness.
Great customer service. May and Sophia thank you. This place is cute inside. Now i never liked donuts until I came here. I didn't like mochi donuts , until I came here the pistachio, chocolate crunch, lavender and i believe maple something were outrageous. Soft and flavorful and not overly sweet. I had the lavender mochi donut with the swirl soft serve icecream. So good. The brioche donuts took my breath away. The tiramisu was 10 star. The chocolate powder like italy. The melon was like honey dew heaven. The filling was as good as the outside. The icecream epic. The ricotta and fig was as if the figs were plucked off the tree. The scallion donuts took it. 1000 stars. It was so ny. It was like a scallion cannoli cream but lighter and not as sweet.

This little donut shop is a hidden gem that was right next to our VRBO apartment we stayed at while visiting NYC. The have devious donuts (both yeast and cake based). The four donut types my family had were all delicious. They had milk on tap which made my 4 year old very happy with his chocolate milk and it did taste delicious. It’s a small shop and we had to sit outside in a patio space they had. Very small tables but we made it work. The staff was very friendly and they were still bringing our fresh donuts at mid morning!

Bear Donut is seriously one of the cutest spots in NYC. The vibes are immaculate, the branding is on point, and the lavender cold cream cold brew hit the spot. My boyfriend’s caramel mocha was supposed to be dairy-free but came with dairy anyway, so that was a little yikes. Staff seemed a bit unsure about the drinks, but I’m still a fan of the concept and flavors. The donuts looked amazing and the shop is aesthetic overload in the best way. I’ll probably come back and give it another shot—just hoping for better communication next time.

Cute little donut shop with a huge variety and unique flavors. If you're a fan of mochi donuts, then this is the right spot. My donut was good, but personally, I didn't like the texture. The coffee was good, though. Definitely worth a try for mochi donut lovers.

I am big on mochi donuts so I was excited to try here. I prefer Paris Baguette compared to this place, which is not very impressive. The shop from outside is cute; inside is plain but there are many types of good-looking donuts, so maybe the four I chose weren’t their best. There are seatings outside.

Truly the best donuts in the city. The flavors are so creative and delicious, they always hit and the flavors rotate seasonally! I believe these are “mochi donuts” which taste a little like funnel cake donuts imo. Absolutely delicious.

The ice cream flavors are out of this world. Banana pudding pumpkin spice ?! I came for the donuts tho. I tried to the cookies & cream. Pretty standard cookie and cream flavor. The donut was soft and melted in my mouth. It was tasty. The real winner was the strawberry milk. I’m not usually a fan of cream filled donuts but this was a hit. The cream tasted just like strawberry milk. It was delicious. The dough was soft and chewy. It had a bit of saltiness to it. I enjoyed this experience !

Cloudy Donut Co, formerly known as Donut Alliance, is a vegan shop in Nolita that offers a variety of attractive flavors such as boston cream, PB&J, maple butter pecan, cookies and cream, and cinnamon sugar. They also have seasonal flavors available. The store is crisp and immaculate with fluffy and non-oily donuts. While the mini donuts are sold at the Nolita location, larger pastries can be found at their Brooklyn Heights location.
stumbled across this cute, friendly spot running errands and of course had to try one of their pretty, vegan donuts. love the fact that they have two sizes — especially when you’re in the mood for a small sweet treat. tried the lemon pistachio — delicious. donut was fluffy and light, icing was just right and that lemon tang gave it enough zhuzh ✨ will be back next time for sure!

Wait why are the ratings so low!? These 100% vegan donuts have literally converted me into a donut person. Fluffy, light, and not too sweet (asian tastebuds approved), with real fruit flavors that actually shine through. I usually find donuts overly sweet and artificial, but Cloudy Donuts completely changed my mind. These were not only pretty but with just the right amount of light frosting. To make them vegan, they use applesauce instead of eggs, coconut milk in place of dairy, and vegetable shortening instead of butter. My bf is severely lactose intolerant, but also has a sweet tooth. I was so glad to see him enjoying these without worrying about the aftermath. *Lemon Pistachio Cinnamon Roll Fluffy and bright, with a pop of lemon and a nutty pistachio crunch. *Orange Vanilla Bean Donut Like a creamsicle in donut form — citrusy, sweet, and super airy, garnished with candied orange. *Raspberry Rosé Donut A little tart from the raspberry. My bf devoured it in one bite lol it was a 10000/10 from him. *Balsamic Fig Donut Juicy, jammy, and surprisingly perfect with that tangy balsamic kick. *Lemon Blueberry Poundcake How is it this moist and light and VEGAN?! I even found lemon peel bits on the crust.
Ruby C — Google review
We were very excited after seeing Cloudy Donuts' social media posts and website to try out what they had on offer. While presented very nicely, we were a little disappointed at the lack of the more exciting flavours they post about, and the two we tried, while tasty enough, didn't wow us. For the money you pay for a single doughnut, we expected a lot more, although if they're using harder-to-source or more expensive ingredients this would make sense (although we couldn't see anything online or in-shop explaining that). Even so, if I was in the area again I think we'd certainly pop back in to try one of their more novel flavours.

Staff was joyous and helpful and all around wonderful - made some great suggestions and took home some real winners - MUST GET the creme brûlée puffs (gorgeous and vegan - how do they do it?!). The donuts are soft, puffy and fluffy - the earlier you go the better! Husband loved these too! So happy we stopped in and got so many - also ref the pistachio and the strawberry but every flavor is amazing! Any believe the entire menu is vegan/plant-based, so impressive - you'd never know!!!!

With a 3.8 star rating on Google & 2 1/2 on Yelp, I still wanted to try Cloudy donuts. Once I did, I totally get why their rating is low. Most basic donuts for $6 each - there are too many better dessert options in the city; save your money for those (Dough, Dominique Ansel, Supermoon bake house..list goes on)

Cloudy Donut Co is such a gem in the SOHO area! 🥯The shop itself is beautifully designed—clean, modern, and inviting. The donuts not only look incredible but taste amazing too. I tried the Piña Colada and Chai Sugar flavors and both were absolutely delicious. They have a light and airy texture with a subtle chew, and the sweetness is perfectly balanced—not overpowering, just enough to enhance the flavors. The Piña Colada donut was especially fun with its creative tropical topping and coconut shreds!🤩 A cool thing to note is that they rotate their flavors every week, so the ones I had might not be there when you visit—but that just gives me another reason to come back and try more! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be returning for my next flavor adventure. 💖

The site and Google say the place closes at 6:00 p.m. but it's really 5:55. That's when I arrived, they closed the door and would not so much as talk to me nor let me in. Angelina Bakery is an Italian bakeshop with two locations in Hells Kitchen and Times Square, offering a wide variety of breakfast pastries, cannoli, tarts, cakes, and high-end donuts known as bombolones. These Italian-style donuts come in flavors like chantilly cream, Nutella, pistachio cream, and Boston cream. The bakery has recipes passed down over generations and is loved by both tourists and locals.
Nice bakery shop with a good variety of pastries, desserts, and coffee. The crossiants and savory breakfasts are quite good. The Strawberry Bombolone is too sweet for me - it's a donut outside with strawberry cream inside. The matcha latte and coffee are quite fine. They have skim milk options. Also they can serve just hit milk for people who don't want coffee. Nice vibe with adding dining areas upstairs.

It was suggested to me by the both agent at the Neil Simon theater largely because it was so close to the theater, had great baked goods and also had outside a lot of seating which allowed for comfortably hanging out until show time. It did not disappoint 👏 It has a lot of options, both to eat and drink... the service was friendly enough and very efficient... I had an Italian Cannoli, a Lemon Merengue Tart & a Turmeric Iced Latte... Although the tart was a bit too sweet for my liking, it was so very yummy and the Cannoli being DEEELISH made up for any downside ;) Everything was a good portion for the buck 😋

My roommate and I wanted to try their croissants and we got the pistachio one! It was so good but if you're not into sugary things, I suggest that you don't order this, because it's super sweet! Don't forget to have some water with you or order water with it! Ha! Not much of a wait time either! Great place!

We stopped by one of Angelina’s locations on 8th Ave and picked up a few pastries along with some of their savory sandwiches. The shop is bright and really pretty, and it’s an easy place to walk into if you’re already nearby. We tried the pistachio croissant, the lemon-shaped mousse, the Italian doughnut, and a couple of their ham-and-egg croissant sandwiches. The savory sandwiches were fine — nothing particularly special — but the Italian doughnut and the pistachio croissant were definitely our favorites. Those two were really tasty and stood out the most. There’s also a seating area upstairs, which is nice to have, though it’s pretty simple and nothing fancy. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot to grab some pastries, and we’d come back to try a few more of their sweets next time.

Saw the beautiful looking pastries from outside and knew I had to give it a try! I bought the Chantilly donut and a pistachio croissant. Loved them both! The Chantilly was a soft bite with light vanilla cream and the pistachio was thick enough to enjoy the flavor mixed with the croissant. Not only are the pastries good, the sitting is very cute. Not large but they do have additional sitting on a 2nd floor. Worth a try!

The staff here is super attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. The pastries are beautiful! But the flavor is just okay. I had the mini Chantilly cream croissant and a mini strawberry bombolone. And a small shaved coconut gelato. The gelato was on point, creamy, flavorful, and fresh. Both the bombolone and the croissant had good pastry but the creams/fillings were heavy and not very tasty.

Pies 'n' Thighs is a casual and diverse diner known for its crispy, juicy deep-fried chicken made from organic or humanely-raised ingredients. The menu also features delectable homemade pies with unique crusts, along with other Southern comfort foods like fried catfish, spicy mac and cheese, and award-winning buttermilk biscuits. The restaurant is run by three innovative women who previously worked together at Diner.
Come for the chicken stay for the pie. I got the chicken and waffles, it's bone in chicken very crispy taste great. The waffles are soft and come with some cinnamon butter and blueberries. I had never had c&w with blueberries but it adds such a nice flavor. I also got a slice of apple pie warmed up with ice cream. The apple pie is fresh and full of flavor, just the right amount of food not huge plates or huge slice. The rest of their pastries and menu look just as good, will be back and trying the biscuits.

Pies’n’Thighs is one of the best spots in Williamsburg for southern comfort food, handmade pastries and local craft beer. Their cinnamon roll is incredible - chefs kiss! It’s soft, buttery, you can tell they’re fresh from that morning - think Cinnabon but better. I’m always down for a sweet treat and everything here hits - the pies, the pecan crunch donut, ugh everything is just so good when it’s made from scratch and so much care. The Hippie Banjo for brunch (hello Sprouts!) and the Fried Catfish Plate are my other favorites. I love their sandwich bread (pro tip I think you can buy it) and the tarter sauce for that catfish is perfection. They also carry really good local craft beer from other half, evil twin and Grimm, which makes dinner and weekend brunch even better. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable- they know exactly what to recommend- the GM even told Me about their new ice cream shop, Heap’s Ice Cream ,where they use Pies’n’Thighs pastries for ice cream sandwiches (like what, def going next time) Last week I tried the chicken tenders (I think they’re only in house) and they were juicy, crunchy and full of flavor. The sauces were great too but I’m a Ranch girl through and through. The food and drinks give an elevated vibe at night, but it’s also the perfect cozy bakery to stop for coffee and pastries on the way to work. I highly recommend Pies’n’Thighs - good food, good vibes and the nicest staff.

The service was friendly, proactive and helpful. The food was outstanding. The building is Hopper-esque. They have a tight, focused menu and the only dish that appealed to me was sold out at 7.30pm on a Sunday. Sadly. So i had biscuits and gravy. Outstanding gravy. Not a fan of biscuits, they looked awesome though! I would definitely take a southerners there again.

Omg!! I was from out of town and saw this restaurant on yelp. It was within walking distance of my hotel. It’s cute. And everyone is super nice. I recommend the chick and waffles so tasty. And it was a lot of food. I want to come back and try the catfish and sour cherry and peach pie.

Been many times though last time was years ago. Ordered online for pickup. At first I was impressed that the price hasn't changed all that much. But then I opened up the order. What a joke. While it was tasty, id be shocked if the chicken part was more than 2oz. To give you a sense of the size, its a very thin cutlet a little bigger than your standard ketchup packet. 5 stars is for the memory of what was, and 3 stars for what is. So 4 is in the middle.
Robert B — Google review
The food that we ordered was mouthwatering and made us feel as though we were in Atlanta instead of Williamsburg. The catfish was flavorful and reminiscent of southern Friday-night fish fry, but boneless. The shoestring fries and cornbread were nice additions, but the black-eyed peas, while ultimately flavorful with a reminiscent tang of Louisiana Tabasco peppers in vinegar, were served cold more like a wet bean salad that a traditional southern side of peas. Absolutely recommend the Palmer! The only negative was that we entered there were no tables and we asked if we could be seated outside. Were were told that even though it was cold out that it was fine and that they would be out to take our order, but after 15 minutes of waiting no one ever came out and when a table opened up it was given to a couple that came in after us. While we were able to get the next table that opened up, we were ultimately not happy with that aspect of our experience at the restaurant and prevents me from leaving 5 stars, though I would be interested in returning the next time I am in the area to see if we have a better experience the next time.

My Fried Pickles were Everything!!! Ordered Catfish with grits & eggs (scramble soft) this was absolute perfection with some hot mint tea 2nd order was The Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes & a side of Mac-n-Cheese which was amazing also The highlight was the biscuit with the honey butter(so delightful) Left with 3 slices of perfect pie (apple, pumpkin, & bourbon pecan) Will be back soon!

Classic diner atmosphere with good beverages and desserts. We got the vegetarian “chicken” biscuit and three sides - coleslaw, black eyed peas, and mac n cheese. The biscuit on which the chicken sandwich was served was hot and delicious, and it was dressed with a honey butter and hot sauce. The sides were good as well, though the mac n cheese was nothing to write home about. The real reason we came was the banana cream pie which was incredible - a perfect dessert. We also had a cup of coffee and the sour cherry lemonade.

Wildair is an American restaurant that offers sophisticated cuisine in a casual setting. It's an offshoot of Contra, known for its low-pressure atmosphere with sardine-packed bar tables and a laid-back vibe. The wine list features unique natural varietals from countries like Canada, Mexico, and Hungary. The menu offers innovative dishes such as breakfast radishes with smoked Comte butter and beef tartare with umeboshi plum and walnut pesto.
Very nice spot we had a great time. Sat at a hightop and enjoyed the variety of small plates. Everything was very creative and well designed some absolute Michelin star quality dishes at this spot. We had a really nice waiter who was an expert at wine and guided us through their nice menu. Overall, really happy with the meal.
Matt B — Google review
Food was interesting, we really enjoyed the beef tartar, gem salad, and the pithiver. The clams were interesting but the almond milk and XO pairing did not do it for me. The confir bluefin tuna was interesting but not my preferred way to eat tuna. The dessert was definitely a highlight. The melon sundae and mille feuille were fantastic! The wine list was interesting, leans more natty. My biggest issue was I think a quarter of the first bottle we ordered disappeared somehow...we all felt it was strange how we barely got a pour and a half from the first bottle, so we ordered another. Our second bottle stayed on our table and we all noticed we got substantially more wine per person. Just a heads up, I'd probably keep an eye on the bottle.

I didn’t take photos of the main fish, butter beans dish or drinks -If I could do it all over again, I’d do the clams and then the uni potato thing but low key ended up going back out to eat about an hour later for some carbs. Still good! Prepare to order about 3-4 dishes per person xx

Outstanding food from start to finish. Love the rather debonaire look and feel of the place in sharp contrast with the precise execution of the short yet impactful menu. Wine list pairs very nicely. This is a keeper!

I typically love eating at wildair, their beans & pithivier are always so good plus I’ve experienced consistently good service. Unfortunately tonight our server was not hospitable, wasn’t knowledgeable about the wine list, and didn’t make us feel welcomed. I brought in friends from Spain to dine here and was honestly embarrassed about it because the service was not up to par. This review is not a reflection of the whole wildair team as we had positive interactions with other members from the team and the other times I’ve been here I’ve enjoyed it. My two cents is to offer more wine education opportunities for the staff and to hire people who are passionate about hospitality because there are so many.
Gabriella P — Google review
I hate writing this. I have spent many special occasions at Wildair. I celebrated my birthday here. My wife and I spent new years at Wildair. I’ve brought friends here. I’ve recommended this place countless times. The meal we had tonight was uncharacteristically off. The clams were nothing like the ones I’ve had in the past. They were wholly under seasoned, lacking salt that the XO used to provide. I used to rave about these clams. They seem to be larger than the ones they sourced in the past. The gem salad was as good as ever. Nothing to note, great dish. The scallops, which I’ve never had prepared this way, had an unpleasant effervescence to them. Something I’ve come to know when you mishandle the freezing and thawing of scallops. Didn’t finish the dish unfortunately. I found the olives to be strangely bitter. I’ve had other raw scallops dishes in the past including the Sicilian Sashimi, which is an all time fave. I really hope this was a bad night. I’m by no means a regular, but I’ve been here at least a half dozen times over the last 5 years. I love Bar Contra. I loved the original Contra, and I still love Wildair. I have too many good memories there. This is why I’m giving 4 stars, but the recent meal I had was simply below their standards.

DING DING 🛎️ FOODS READY this dineresce restaurant serves up all the bells and whistles. Delicious bells and whistles that is. They even let me get some lip numbing medication for my canker sore while i was waiting for my food! I felt treasured. The food was served warm. There was a gentleman watching a video of a tractor on full volume in the establishment which I enjoyed and I think added. Memories have been made! Thank you and good afternoon!!! 😃

Caught a wicked case of food poisoning for the first time in my life, 30 minutes after I left. I don’t blame the restaurant, I think there’s one really careless cook that is sliding under the radar and isn’t as good as the other cooks. They do breakfast really well but I notice an extreme quality change depending on who’s cooking that day. Love this place but cross your fingers and hope you don’t get whichever cook was on the line at the time.

I had to visit this place 3-5 different times before finally catching open hours. think the hours end at 5pm on weekdays and not 8 as it says on the Google profile, and earlier times on the weekend. Try calling ahead before you go? I had a Boston creme here that was pretty good. It’s cheaper pricing than buying from a Dunkin’ Donuts so there’s no reason to go else where and I’d like to say it’s black owned but I’m not sure. It’s very diner like inside.

"The Dough Club" is a must-visit for donut enthusiasts in NYC. This establishment offers a modern take on the classic fried pastry, with each 4-inch handmade donut being made in small batches. The flavors range from plain glazed to cinnamon sugar and dulce de leche, ensuring there's always something new to try. Additionally, their collaboration with other brands keeps the menu fresh and exciting.
Cute spot with a unique-to-me style donut. This was my first time trying mochi donuts and they are so fun to eat. I love the chewy texture. The Cookie Monster flavor was fun to eat but I really loved the Ube with coconut flakes since it had a nice balance of sweetness with a little something extra. Service was friendly and efficient. And it’s right next door to taiyaki ice cream so you could just have yourself a dessert crawl.
Casey S — Google review
I had no idea what a mochi donut was, and I’m so glad I finally got to experience this. This is a quaint small shop that doesn’t really have the best ambience but makes up for it in their donuts. They have a few donut flavors to choose from. I got their Cookie Monster and their salted caramel flavors. The icing is incredible (perfectly sweet and smooth). The dough is between a true mochi and a donut, which gives a fun experience when eating. You get a little bit more chew in each piece which lets you savor eat bite more. At $3.25 each, I think this is reasonably priced per donut. I would definitely come here again if I am in the area and want something sweet. They also have milkshakes and Japanese sodas available as well!

Ever since I saw a photo of cute Japanese doughnuts from The Dough Club, I have been wanting to go and try them. They are located in Chinatown, right next to the popular Taiyaki NYC, a Japanese ice cream shop. That makes total sense, since they are both under the same founder/management. They had three round tables, bench seating along the wall, and comfortable chairs. Their doughnuts are made with mochi flour, in the shape knows as “Pon de Ring” style that you see often in Japan. The mochi doughnuts are made fresh daily in small batches. They have some mochi doughnuts ready, and then, upon order, they dip them into appropriate toppings right there. It is always good to have freshly made doughnuts! The staffs were very nice and polite, helpful and welcoming. We tried Cookies & Dreams, Berry Lovely, Bacon Miso Happy, and Cruncha Matcha. Not only the mochi doughnuts cute and lovely, but the names of the doughnuts are cute too. Doughnut itself was so soft, light, and fluffy. It had the nice chewy texture of mochi in a good way. The shape of the mochi doughnut makes it easy to share, as it is similar to tear apart bread. Overall, we were happy with all the mochi doughnuts we tried here. I feel that mochi doughnuts can get a bit too heavy. But I think they got the right skill and magic going on here at Their texture was really great! It still is more filling and satisfying than the regular doughnuts out there in my opinion. Also, I think the portion size and its quality was good for the price. A really nice place to get a little dessert with friends and family!
Foodlover G — Google review
These Japanese-style mochi donuts were decent, but not as good as Mochinut. With that being said, customer service was good and the atmosphere was cute and inviting. The donuts look appealing and tasty, but the texture of the mochi dough isn’t so good. They felt a bit hollow compared to other mochi donuts I’ve had from other establishments. The pricing is reasonable. Overall the experience was good.
Nane — Google review
Good delicious mochi doughnut, it's not too chewy, doesn't stick to my teeth. The flavours are good, you taste what you buy. Love the cookies and cream, it's not too sweet but craves my sweet tooth. Fruity pebbles are awesome too! Good to share with others since it's easy to rip apart. Totally recommend this place!
JenJen — Google review
I wore a review of this bakery last month but only now have gotten around to posting it. I can't believe it's only been a month since I visited this bakery. So much has changed in that short time. I pray that someday, when everything goes back to "normal" they'll be able to reopen. Below is my review. The Doug Club is a tiny bakery with about 4 small café tables that opened in late 2019. The shop is very cute and inviting. They make these Japanese “pon de ring” style mochi donuts in small batches and you can clearly taste the freshness. Due to the amount of foot traffic they get, the donuts do not sit long on their shelves. In fact, my donuts were still slightly warm with the glaze still very gooey. The donuts had a fluffy and slight chewy texture. I ordered the half dozen in each of the flavor that were offered. Purple Pebble—had purple glaze with fruity pebble cereal toppings. Cruncha Matcha—these were definite my favorite. It had matcha glaze and bits of rice crispy toppings. Berry Lovely—had strawberry glaze with bits of white chocolate. Cookie & Dreams—had vanilla glaze with Oreo crumble and chocolate drizzled on top. Bacon Miso Happy—had miso caramel glaze with bits of bacon. I wished that the bits of bacon were crunchier and saltier to help balance the very sweet glaze. Go Nuts—had chocolate glaze with bits of hazelnut. Flavor wasn’t as complex or unique as some of the others, but I still loved it. The mochi donuts are lovely to look at and the Dough Club does a good job of offering interesting flavors. These would be a great treat to bring to the office, dinner parties or as gifts. The presentation and packaging makes it very unique. And the shape of the donuts make it very fun to share. You can pull them apart into small pieces with ease.

Newly open doughnut shop. It's Japanese inspired mochi donut. Has chewy texture. The base dough is the same. The different flavor only adding on the top They serve 6 different flavor: 1. Purple pebble-purple potato glaze and fruity pebble 2. Crunch match- matcha glaze and rice krispy 3. Berry lovely- strawberry glaze and white chocolate 4. Cookies dream- vanilla glaze , crunch Oreo and chocolate drizzle 5. Bacon miso happy- miso caramel glaze and fresh bacon bite 6. Go nuts- milk chocolate glaze and crunch hazelnut I only had this kinda mochi donut when I was in Asia, I'm so glad I can find it in Ny now!
C C — Google review
Offering 6 different flavor of mochi donut flavor. The mochi donuts were soft and chewy. The texture is light and airy. Berry Love has strawberry glaze and white chocolate, there was barely any glaze. I wasn't able to see the thin coating. I personally love sweets and this was sweet enough for my taste buds. Quite taste plain. Cruncha Matcha had a heavy layer of matcha. Topped with Rice Krispies gave the mochi donut a nice texture without adding additional flavorings. Matcha flavor was quite strong. Cheaper to purchase 6 for $14.70, purchase 4 mochi donut is already $12. Offer 3 different flavors of shakes. Service was average. Minimum for card is $10. Store décor is incredibly simplistic and cute. Super clean and organized. There is not a lot of space or seating. The store does not have a bathroom for customers.

Cuzin's Duzin is a Brooklyn-based donut shop that is known for its delicious donuts and friendly service. The owner, The Donutologist, has a passion for baking and makes sure his donuts are always fresh and delicioso.
I ordered a few of their non-alcoholic mini donuts, but they do have alcoholic options too. The donuts are made right in front of you using a fancy machine. Afterwards they're coated in powdered sugar. Overall it's a quick dessert choice. It should be noted they don't accept credit cards, but do support several ePay apps as an option.

Donut stop, get it, get it. Todd is the proud owner of Cuzin’s Duzin in Dekalb Market Hall in Albee Square. He’s been in the game for 42 years and has own his own shop for 26 years. Thank you Yelp for this opportunity and Todd for allowing me to see the process and learn about your business. Tell Todd @eatingwithetienne sent you.

Todd makes fresh donuts to order as you watch. Always fun to watch him make the delicate donuts, but it's better to eat them. The bite-sized donuts come out warm and ready to eat. He has a variety of drizzles to add different flavors to the donuts. Try the apple in the morning and the Hennessy in the afternoon. A must visit when in the Food Hall.

I'm not going to lie it took me a while to find the doughnut shop because you can easily miss it, but I am so happy that I was able to find this gem with the support of staff and a few patrons. I love supporting small businesses that serve popular desserts with a twist. I thought the menu at Cuzins Duzen was simple but creative. The store offers a variation of doughnut flavors such as fruity pebble, cinnamon churro, smores, crazy glazy and caramel. I can't wait to visit again. Quick note: these doughnuts should be eaten when you purchase them since they are fried unless you want to reheat them using an air fryer.

Cuuuuute tiny donuts! I love the little contraption that flips the donuts over out of the hot oil. Very light, airy, fluffy donuts that aren't too sweet. They feel almost healthy to eat. There's a coffee stand right next door too - perfect combo for an afternoon pick-me-up!

Wow wow wow. I never knew a donut could taste this good! Passing by on an empty stomach, I was simply seeking a sugar fix yet I got so much more. Didn’t get any of the beautiful fancy offerings. I bought a choc and vanilla donut. Biting into it through me off because it was nice and crispy on the outside yet chewy and soft inside. One can tell right away that these donuts are fresh, just made! The only other time I’ve had fresh donuts like these was 30 years ago at a carnival where they make it right in front of you. And I haven’t had one until now. Thank you for a lovely lovely experience! Your donuts are spectacular and the attendant was a kind cheerful human. A tremendous experience that heightened an already beautiful day gallivanting about our marvelous town ❤️

Basically, the donuts are NOTHING like described, or pictures. They are inside a restaurant, that you don’t have access to seeing the donuts, or even the menu. In the restaurant reception they tell you in a post it what donuts are available. We bought 6, the prices already being really high, and not only there is nowhere to eat them but they were not fresh at all. The dough was hard and not even like a doughnut texture it was more like a cake. It was really so bad
Florencia C — Google review
I’m surprised this place has such good ratings. It is not an individual shop. It is in a bar and we were treated like a bother for wanting donuts. There’s no place to actually eat the food and it is overpriced for the size and quality of the donuts. Please read the reviews before coming to this place.

Finally got a chance to come try these and they donut disappoint! Everyone has their own preferences on donuts, but that being said going in with a clear mind I left happy. The donuts have a slight crispiness when you first sink your teeth into them, but this followed with a surprising softness inside. It's a fun texture I wasn't expecting since normally you come across donuts that are squishy soft yeast style, or dense like cake. This was something in-between and, yes, the toppings are what shine. Definitely try the Strawberry 🍓 shortcake as that was one of our favorites. Chocolate glazed with strawberry and one with blueberry were also a delight. The birthday cake was our favorite hands down. Quick service and lower price, too, makes this place a win!
Caius — Google review
Fluffy and cakey donuts at reasonable Brooklyn prices ($3/donut). Choice of regular or chocolate batter for the donut. Choice of about 6 icings (blueberries, chocolate, birthday cake, etc) which are all in liquid bottle format (expect a dripping icing, not thick and holding onto the top of the donut) and add toppings. Some "specialty donuts" also available already done Quick to order and pay We had a chocolate donut, the batter is great and raises well. We chose birthday cake icing for my spouse's birthday but it tasted lemony. Slightly disappointing on that front. Kids were excited and running in and out of the shop. Would be nice to offer donut holes for kids. All together it is a good addition and variety to Court street for family hangouts. There are so many coffee shops around that it pleases adults and kids!

I gotta say I avoided Brandon’s Donuts for a while because I didn’t know. I didn’t know what it was about. I should’ve given them a chance and then I would understand. It’s pretty, pretty, pretty good. Yeah, that’s a Curb reference ok. But in all seriousness this is a place of pure treats. These are the kind of donuts you eat with a knife and fork. That’s a good thing. It’s a full customized dessert experience and at what overall is a reasonable price in NYC. I mean, you can get a cookie for the same price (ahem, chip city). Big props for taking Apple Pay, having cute branded boxes and bags as well as quality donuts and toppings.

I had to come back to this place twice to make sure that what I was tasting was going to be good two times in a row and they didn’t disappoint. I love how they have different flavors every time I come and how fresh they taste.

First time ordering from here and wanted to try a variety as a nice birthday treat! Ordered Choco nana, caramel pretzel, cinnamon toast crunch, kitchen sink, cookies and cream and PB&J. The donuts are absolutely beautiful and taste as good as they look! Came here for the more fun and unique flavors and they are delicious. The PB&J was my fav. The donuts are thick and dense and the toppings are not scarce. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for something new or for an event where you want to really shine. Another great thing is you would expect these to be overly sweet and they are not. PERFECT balance of sweet, savory and enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful treat!

Located in the trendy TriBeCa neighborhood, Locanda Verde is a lively and rustic Italian eatery that has been a hot spot since its opening in 2009. The restaurant, nestled into the ground floor of the Greenwich Hotel, offers a charming atmosphere with a bucolic courtyard.
This restaurant has a great vibe and an open kitchen which creates a really cool vibe. We started with the Steak Tartare and the Insalata D’Andrea, and they were both perfect. The steak tartare was truly amazing. I loved the egg on it. However, I feel like bacon is not necessary. For the main courses, we had the Scallops and the Duck Arrosto. The scallops were unbeatably good. They match perfectly with the lentils. It is such a good dish and definitely our favorite; the duck was good, but I think the meat could have been more tender. I also tried the Cappelletti Fizz cocktail, and it was really well-balanced. I really liked it, and I also tried the Vesper In Coat Tails. It was amazing but very strong. My partner loved it! Finally, for dessert, we ordered the Lemon Panna Cotta and it was very tasty. The service was very good, the staff were always very attentive 🙏🏻 It’s a great place with really nice food. I wouldn’t use it for a first date tho, because I feel like it can be very loud, so it’s hard to talk.

The venue is gorgeous with dark wood paneling throughout and floor to ceiling windows which gives it a rustic yet modern ambience. Service was good and professional but not too detail oriented nor anticipatory. My group and I initially sat inside but it was the table closest to the kitchen opening so we decided to move to the patio to have a quieter table and better setting. Unfortunately, the rustic Italian dishes seemed quite good in written form but in real time taste was not really great nor special. The Roasted chicken reminded me of a vamped up version of Costco chicken. Which to say the least is tasty but not worth this price tag. Cavatelli was cooked Al Dente but the sauce Was just okay and lacked substance. My friend had been 2 years ago and this venue was always a gem. Perhaps we just had an off night. Overall, mediocre and not worth this price.

This place is a gem, a true delight for any day, whether it’s sunny, rainy, or anything in between. I love the warm atmosphere and the charm of the restaurant. The service is quick, and the food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend everything on the menu: pasta, fish, steak, and all the starters are our favourites. Especially the beef tartare is absolutely outstanding!

Amazing service the Maitre d’ Caprice is a gem! She got me & my friend seated right away in the back dining room. They lit the fireplace which I loved. If you’re looking for a laid back upscale spot this is the place to go. Judith was my waitress she was extremely helpful. Also- please don’t get rid of the Paloma with the cinnamon rim until summers over! It was so good!

Had a pretty bland dinner here. Came here right when they opened Saturday with reservations and sat us probably in the worst seat by the entrance and it wasnt even full basically empty. Food was just okay. Steak tar tar was probably the best dish of the night but they put an odd fried quail egg on top instead of egg yolk and a super thin slice of bacon is basically unneeded. Pasta was very underwhelming and lamb chops were good. They dont even have complementary bread? Cocktails are decent tho, but dinner was mediocre

Weird experience tonight and it pains me to write this. I’m a huge fan of Locanda Verde, especially the Tribeca location. Made a reservation for my wife’s birthday about two weeks in advance and clearly listed it was my wife’s birthday. They were about 15 mins late seating, not a big deal at all, we had a drink at the bar. But then they proceeded to lead us into the back room with absolutely no music, no vibe and no energy. Major mood killer! Totally different experience than main room. I felt like Sloth being chained in the dungeon. The food was excellent. We ordered the Cesar salad to start (10 out of 10) and then the lamb meatball sliders (also 10 out of 10) and steak tartar (8.5 out of 10.) Next course was the ravioli. It was excellent but not hot (not cold either but it def was sitting for a while before they brought out to us overall 8.5 out of 10.) We split the half garlic chicken as our main (9 out of 10) and crispy potato’s (5 out of 10) they were inedible, way too salty. We complained and they sent us new ones albeit it took 15 mins to bring out. We also ordered Brussel sprouts (11 out of 10) they are to die for. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu (10 out of 10) and they brought out a candle for my wife’s birthday. Service was excellent no complaints there. Solid water game although they didn’t really come over and ask us about reordering cocktails so we only had two drinks the whole night but overall, I have to say it was a real miss with putting us in the back room. Really killed the vibe for us.

It was a divine brunch in every way ! The service was exceptional and attentive. The Caesar salad was delicious and unlike any I have had before. The Pappardelle was a culinary masterpiece, truly and the tiramisu was beautifully designed. It was pure ambrosia, except for the whole coffee beans embedded inside. I could have done without those. Thank you for making my Sunday an unforgettable one. It goes without saying, that inside and out, Locanda Verde is an extraordinary restaurant !

We had a great experience with Saturday brunch. Our group had the frittata, egg sandwich, steak and eggs, eggs Benedict and the sheep’s milk ricotta and crostini. It was all excellent. Oh and the Bloody Mary’s were classic!

The Musket Room is an award-winning restaurant that offers modern interpretations of international cuisine in a charming rustic-chic setting with a backyard garden. The establishment also features MR All-Day, a 1962 International Harvester truck helmed by renowned pastry chef Camari Mick, offering a delectable menu of sweet and savory treats sourced from local farms.
Absolutely phenomenal culinary experience. And the staff were gracious and accommodating since one person in our party was very late. I ordered an old fashioned- delicious. And we had the omnivore tasting menu - every single dish was mind blowing. We had someone who helped with pairing 2 wines with some dishes and it was divine. If you’re thinking about it just make the reservation and go. My girlfriends and I had an amazing night with some of the best food ever.

The Musket Room continues to be one of our favorite spots in NYC! Three of us had the omnivore tasting menu and one had dietary restrictions, which the team handled with so much care. They even mixed and matched dishes to make sure everything worked, which made the experience stress-free. Jake, our server, was incredible — knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to point me in the right (and safe) direction. Every course was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. This was our 7th year coming here during our annual NYC trip, and the food and service are consistently exceptional. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Tucked behind sleek, glass-framed doors, The Musket Room offers a serene escape from the lively Nolita streets. The interior strikes a harmonious balance between rustic charm and modern elegance, with Danish-style chairs, industrial lighting, and midcentury modern furnishings that create a cozy, lived-in atmosphere. The service is effortlessly attentive—approachable yet well-informed—adding to the warm and welcoming ambiance. Under the guidance of Chef Mary Attea, the kitchen turns out dishes that are as thoughtful as they are inventive. Guests can choose between an omnivore or vegan tasting menu, or select from a flexible range of à la carte offerings. The tasting menu often showcases creative flavor combinations, such as German potatoes paired with razor clams and sourdough breadcrumbs in a rich clam chowder broth, or coarsely ground grits accompanied by savory red-eye gravy, tart huckleberries, and smoky pork jowl. Whether you're seeking a refined dining experience or a more casual evening of shared plates, The Musket Room delivers with grace, flavor, and thoughtful detail.

Tucked away in Nolita, just steps from the subway, this restaurant is an absolute gem. The vibe is chill and casual, yet perfect for special occasions or simply trying something new with friends, a date, or your partner. The music is at just the right volume and the thoughtful spacing between tables adds a sense of privacy that’s hard to find in the city. The menu offers both omnivore and vegan options, with a variety of dishes bursting with unique and wonderful flavors I had never experienced before. Truly an exquisite and innovative combination of ingredients. My personal favorite was the Kristal Caviar with Artichoke & Egg Yolk — an absolute masterpiece! With a well-deserved Michelin star, this place lives up to the hype. Huge thanks to our server, Jake M, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely lovely — he really went above and beyond to make our night special. Highly recommend, and definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

Didn’t expect to enjoy this meal so much—especially after having what I considered the best meal of my life just the day before. Yet somehow, most dishes here carried a distinct point of view. Not just well-executed, but with a sense of personality I hadn’t quite experienced before. The first thing I loved was the warm, house-made sourdough boule with anchovy butter. I’ve had anchovy butter in pasta plenty of times, but never like this. Simply paired with bread fresh from the oven. The sour tang of the boule played against the anchovy’s deep umami and faint funk in a way that was both rustic and elegant. Then the steak tartare with kumquat, mint, and Aleppo pepper. Tartare is rarely the course that catches me off guard, but this one was different. Zesty citrus from the kumquat, fragrant freshness from the mint, and a gentle heat from Aleppo pepper oil—all framing the tender, subtly seasoned beef. Kristal Caviar with artichoke & egg yolk was a bold move pairing caviar with just vegetables, but it worked. The sharp, tangy quality of the artichoke married well with the salty richness of the Kristal caviar. Unexpectedly balanced with egg yolk adding a touch of creaminess. One of the evening’s most satisfying bites came from a supplement: jamón Ibérico with smoked mussels, potato, and saffron. The jamón had a unique appearance, almost like a delicate, furry jerky, possibly due to mold from the aging process. But the flavor was incredibly layered (likely a result of 12 years of curing). It paired beautifully with the silky potato purée, and while not the most mind-blowing dish of the evening, it was the most satisfying. The lamb course was obviously perfectly cooked, but the highlight was the spring onion purée infused with black garlic. It delivered an intense umami note that quickly settled into a garlicky sweetness. Well-rounded and comforting. Glad I didn’t spring for the wagyu upgrade. The finale was Birch Custard with Mostarda, Sourdough & Fermented Blueberry. Not sure I picked up strong birch earthiness, but the custard had a rich, thick texture and a restrained sweetness. Classic pairing with fermented blueberries, which added tartness and depth.

Great dining experience. It’s like laid back but upscale at the same time? No nonsense or pretense but just great food and cool people. Loved everyone there. Food’s amazing. I liked the wagyu more than the duck. I don’t like steak tartare but I LOVED the one here. Oh and the bread and butter?!? SO GOOD

The Musket Room was fantastic and I highly recommend it. We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and it definitely earns that Michelin star. They made it such a special evening for us, celebrating our anniversary. It was easy to switch a few items to the vegan menu too, which was also awesome. My favorite dish was the squash from the vegan tasting menu. Impeccable service, great wine, and a couple of pairing cocktails they added in. The atmosphere feels like a cozy, neighborhood spot and not stuffy at all.

CASH ONLY! A classic New York City diner! The staff were super friendly and they were busy but moving so quick when we visited. The food was delicious! We had the French toast and an omelette and both were amazing! The fruit on the French toast was fresh and the sweetness level was perfect. The omelette was solid but I was addicted to the fried potatoes! We took a chocolate glazed donut to go which was delicious and I’ll be back to try more soon!

We were excited to try this place this morning, but instead had one of the least welcoming experiences we’ve ever had. As soon as we sat down the waitress was extremely rude and barked at us about our order without even saying hello. I tried to say good morning and she barked again so we decided to get up and leave. Amazingly, she followed us to the exit and said we were “taking it too personally” and were “too entitled.” We can’t comment on the food and now never will. Our daughter was so excited about the donuts that we probably would’ve become regulars. A little decency is all it would have taken.

Sal & Dom's Pastry Shop is a no-nonsense Italian bakery that has been serving up delicious pastries, cookies, cakes, and coffee since 1956. Located in the northern part of the Bronx, this family-owned bakery is a local favorite and stands out as the only well-established Italian bakery in the neighborhood. The shop is known for its high-quality rotational options and seasonal treats, all prepared and baked in-house.

Sal and Dom’s went above and beyond in creating the perfect cake for my bridal shower! From start to finish, they were incredibly helpful, turning my vision into a stunning reality. The book-themed design was breathtaking, with intricate details, delicate florals, and elegant gold accents. It was truly a work of art! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was also fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious. Every guest raved about both the look and the taste! Sal and Dom’s exceeded all expectations, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend them for any special occasion!

This place has been around for a long time, and it's slowly declining. I gave it two stars because their Tiramisu is delicious, but their cookies are like rocks with sprinkles. I spent 2 dollars on a large sprinkled cookie. I went to take a bite and I could have cracked a tooth. I banged it on my kitchen counter and it barely made crumbs. The cookie remained close to intact. Ask the girls behind the counter how long the cookies have been sitting there for before purchasing. My mistake for not doing so. If they say the same day, then they must use too much baking soda. Save your dentures or veneers folks! Be wary about them cookies.

INCOMPETENT, UNPROFESSIONAL, HOSTILE! The cake collapsed and so did the professionalism. What followed was the most condescending and defensive interaction I’ve ever had with a business and that includes the the baker, Carlo writing me scathing emails accusing me of being “prejudicial and dishonest” for sharing my own experience! I had to block him because it was basically harassment and deflecting with performative victimhood! I ordered a birthday cake that collapsed before it was even cut, had the wrong filling, and was slathered with an overwhelming amount of whipped cream. It was inedible. I politely emailed with photos, explained the issues, and brought the cake back in person. While I was given a refund, the owner Carlo chose to hide in the back instead of apologizing face-to-face. Initially, he told me on the phone that my initial 5 minute review “kept him up all night,” but showed zero concern for how he ruined our celebration. Rather than apologizing outright, he lectured me on “cake physics,” talked over me about how long his bakery has existed, and blamed the issue on the cake not being “cooled in time”, a problem he knew about but still sent out. He even claimed maybe my family just doesn’t like sweets, completely ignoring the fact that the cake didn’t meet the order specifications and fell apart. What pushed this over the edge was his unhinged follow-up emails, where he doubled down instead of showing an ounce of accountability. He falsely claimed I lied, completely misrepresented the facts, and painted himself as the victim, all because I dared to post review with photos after receiving the refund. The refund was never contingent on me removing the review. To be clear, I decided to post this review because of his aggressive disrespectful behavior afterwards. His version of professionalism seems to be rage emailing a customer for telling the truth. The elitism is also hard to ignore. When I first came to place the order, the woman at the counter acted like she was doing me a favor just by taking it. Her tone only changed when she realized I knew the Westchester nail salon she snobbishly name dropped. The way this bakery treats people varies depending on your name, your background, and whether they think you belong. Just check how they respond to reviews, polite and courteous to some, defensive and rude to others. A refund doesn’t excuse poor service, condescension, and public gaslighting. I’ve been a customer here for decades and expected more. If Carlo had simply apologized sincerely and handled the situation professionally, this review wouldn’t exist. But his arrogance and lack of accountability speak louder than any cake ever could. My advice? Spend your money somewhere that respects both the occasion and the customer. This place doesn’t.

Very disappointed with the cheesecake we ordered for our daughter's birthday. Initially we wanted the 10 inch and were told they would only be able to make the 7 inch. Now that I've had the cake, I wonder if this was because they didn't have sufficient ingredients. The texture of the cake was not heavy and dense as cheesecake is expected to be. Instead it was light and crumbled very easily....similar to what you would get from a regular vanilla cake. The taste of the cake was also off. Are they trying to scam their customers? This was my first time ordering a cake from Sal and Doms. I decided to go with them because this is where my other family memebers have always bought their cakes. This will certainly be the last time.

The cookies are delicious and well enjoyed. However, the tiramisu was disappointing, especially for an Italian bakery. Barely there coffee flavor, dry lady fingers and although the frosting was nice, the cake was mostly frosting so after a few bites, it’s sickening. Lots of other cake options are available so I’ll give them another try and pick up some more cookies while I’m there.

This bakery has been in the area since I was child and from their boxing it says 1956. I recently went to pick up 2 sets of cookies and 2 Flans for the Thanksgiving dinners I was attending. Both houses loved each of the things I brought. The workers are very polite and thankfully the line was not long at all like some other bakeries I've been to in the Bronx.

Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious. The ham and cheese croissant was amazing even cold. The chocolate chip cookie had the perfect salty-sweet balance. I don’t even like blueberries, but their blueberry bun with cream cheese frosting was so good I had to pause. The blondie was soft and rich and just right. Little Flower Cafe is a trendy halal eatery that offers an array of delectable dishes and top-notch coffee in a stylish setting. The cafe's modernist gray tables, industrial lighting, and chic ambiance make it an inviting spot to spend the day. Patrons rave about the morning light roast coffee, which is described as buttery and smooth with minimal acidity. The cafe also garners praise for its consistent high quality pastries, made-to-order meals, and fantastic service.
Charming, bustling, and full of heart. Little Flower Cafe is a gem in Astoria — yes, it gets crowded (for good reason!), but the warm atmosphere and attention to detail make it worth the wait. The interior is both cozy and stylish, with cool tables and thoughtful touches, including a lovely portrait of the owner’s mother that adds a personal, homey feel. The bakery items are truly perfect — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Coffee and tea are top quality, and the staff is always friendly, even during the busiest hours. You can tell this place was created with love and a sense of community. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates great pastries, great people, and a beautifully curated space.

A nice small cafe with a small but versatile and fun menu. I absolutely loved the breakfast burrito with the halal bacon and the Gochujang Chicken was also very good and had a nice sweetness at the end of each bite. We really wanted to try the Short rib sandwich, but unfortunately they were all out. We also learned that they have a Lumber Jack platter that apparently is great to share, so we'll be trying that next time around.

Such a cozy little corner Cafe! I wanted a good breakfast and iced Americano, and ended up ordering the Breakfast Burrito with lamb sausage as well as Raspberry Danish. The burrito really gets elevated when you order it with some protein. The lamb sausage is halal and it is spiced up with delicious earthy flavors. It's worth getting even though it's an added $4. The Danish, however, is my real favorite. The Raspberry jam is delicious and there is soft, creamy cheese inside. The Danish is baked perfectly, balancing the fluffiness and chewiness. Space is tight and there are not too many tables and chairs, but if the weather is as nice as today, outside is just as pleasant as inside. I'll definitely come back to explore more of the menu. Finally, everyone is just so friendly here, it is quite comforting.

I typically get a cold brew and some kind of food. My go to is their guava pancakes and egg sandwich. Their pastries are phenomenal too. You need to do yourself a favor and visit! The staff are the sweetest most genuine people on earth. I love our little chats. Ok this review is already so long-- ILY LF!

After learning our new mayor frequents this halal coffee shop, I decided to give it a try. I had the chai latte and it lived up to its reputation and more. I dreamt about returning to savor this wonderful beverage and try some of the interesting delicacies. I tried the Sammie chicken sandwich and guava pancakes. I absolutely loved both of these dishes. The sandwich was just the right amount of spicy with a crunchy coating and slaw on a freshly based bun. The guava pancakes were delicious as well. The portions were just right. The service was attentive, polite and efficient. They make the food fresh so it was a little bit of a wait but not terrible. I like that it’s on a nice residential corner with benches outside where you can sit when the weather is nice. It’s refreshing to be around quirky, open minded liberal youngsters alongside Muslim patrons. The place embodies what our city should represent which is respect, freedom and tolerance. It’s become a favorite spot for me.

My favorite café to go to ever. I’ve lived in Astoria for about three years and I remember the moment that it opened up. The outside is covered in brick, big windows giving it gorgeous natural lighting, wood interiors and very unique chairs and tables. As I’ve come here time and time again. I’ve gotten to try almost everything there, including the pastries some of the food and a lot of drinks, of course. I would highly recommend the breakfast burrito and the fan favorite firini donut. The owners have a close relationship with the baristas making the cafe feel very cozy and welcoming. The owners Ali and Mo have done a spectacular job not only at Little Flower but have also worked hard to expand and have recently opened Blue Hour where they do take out. They have created a second home to many people in this community and have also been active politically which I really admire. The baristas here are fabulous, kind, cool, and awesome. Shout out to Stella, Greta, Morgan, Devin, and Jasmine. I typically come here after I go to the gym, and I lose track of time sipping my coffee having conversations and giggling. I would highly recommend little flower to anyone, and I think everyone deserves to come here at least once in their life.

The food and coffee here are pretty good. Although, not quite on the Santa Fe level, the breakfast burrito is tasty, and I didn’t have any complaints about the hot chicken sandwich. However, the guava pancakes - even though fluffy, they lack flavor and should be more moist. The portions are also quite small, especially considering the price.

Krispy Kreme is a well-known chain of doughnut shops that offers a wide variety of flavors and shapes, along with coffee and frozen drinks. The flagship store in Times Square, New York City, is particularly impressive, featuring a mesmerizing doughnut-making process visible to customers. The store also offers specialty varieties like The Big Apple and an array of Krispy Kreme merchandise. Visitors can witness the production of classic glazed doughnuts on a conveyor belt and even behold a glaze waterfall.
I visited the Krispy Kreme branch in Times Square during my trip to New York, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Times Square — and the shop has a bright, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. The staff were incredibly friendly, smiling, and eager to help even though the place was busy. The service was fast and organized, and I appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. The doughnuts were fresh, soft, and tasted absolutely delicious — exactly what you would expect from Krispy Kreme, but with the added charm of being in one of the most famous spots in the world. I also enjoyed watching the doughnut-making process through the glass window; it’s a fun touch that makes the visit more special, especially for families and kids. Prices were reasonable considering the location, and the quality was excellent. If you’re in Times Square, this is definitely a must-visit spot for a quick treat, a coffee break, or just to enjoy a sweet moment in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle. Highly recommended!

It was my very first time trying Krispy Kreme and I absolutely loved it! The flavor is so unique, and the classic glazed donut is simply phenomenal. The Times Square location itself is beautiful and fully themed, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a 10/10!

I was able to order my donuts on the online kiosk right by the counter. I received my donuts in an adequate amount of time. They were up to standard as for any location. Other than that, everything else was fine. The location was out of a few doughnuts, so I was unable to get exactly what I wanted. I would recommend going to a location further outside the city center.

This is times square location we were walking thru and had a craving for a donut 🍩. We used the kiosk but I suggest if no line walk up to front and see all the donuts that are there. They have bigger selection not mentioned in the digital kiosk. Which was annoying bc after we selected and went to the front they had other varieties I wanted. But service was quick they have a some spots to sit and eat . They do have other menu options like drinks. Place was super clean too

Krispy Kreme donuts are pretty much what you’d expect — sweet, soft, and enjoyable. The real downside here was the service: staff were not very friendly, with no smiles and a rather cold attitude. It’s also a shop, but honestly there isn’t much worth buying beyond the donuts themselves. The one cool part is watching the donuts being made fresh, which is fun to see once, but overall the experience doesn’t go much further than that.

This flagship location is great. Fresh, fast donuts. There is a large variety to choose from and a shop with Krispy Kreme merchandise for the mega-fans.

The Donut Pub, a beloved establishment in the West Village since 1974, offers a wide array of classic donuts and sandwiches. The owner, Buzzy Geduld, expanded to a second location in NoHo in 2019. Their menu features an assortment of freshly made donuts including croissant donuts and specialty flavors like Chocolate Dipper and Birthday Cake. What sets them apart is their commitment to simple, fresh, and old-school American doughnuts at reasonable prices.
Best donuts I've ever had! Better than the big chain donut shops. Fun atmosphere! Great service! And delicious drinks. Not to mention kid approved. My daughter loves the smokes, oreo donuts and lemonade. I enjoyed the croissant donut.

Variety is the spice of life and boy does this place preach that. The Broadway location had at least 60 donut varieties, including gluten free abc vegan options, which made it a great place for everyone. From sweet to savory they had it all, and the staff wasn’t afraid to let you take your time to decide. The employees were also efficient, making sure the store didn’t get too crowded but also making if a fun space for kiddos. There was a 10 year old who looked like she was in heaven and the staff were just as excited about that as she was about the treats. Me and my friend got three donuts, two coffees. We tried the old fashioned, the chocolate dipped donut and the tiramisu special donut. All were amazing. We also tried the drip coffee and a cold brew with milk and vanilla. The iced coffee was horrible. It tasted sour, almost like vodka. The design was fun and felt like a donut bar but the iced coffee was not the thing to get.
David L — Google review
They were playing r&b when we went which set the perfect chill vibe, and then you see the HUGE selection and know it's gonna be a great experience. We tried a few flavors (French toast, tiramisu, strawberry, blueberry, creme brulee) and they were all tasty and definitely satisfied everyone's sweet tooth for the afternoon! The staff was super friendly, and moved quickly!

My goodness it is so cool in here! The place is clean & there are so many delicious selections! My husband loved his donuts. Staff is very sweet!

I love The Donut Pub! The Astor Place location is bright, joyful, and airy, a fun spot with a great variety of donuts (including gluten-free options), plus dog treats, paninis, and bagels. My go-to order is the honey glazed donut with an iced coffee, simple and perfect. I live nearby, and it’s my favorite spot in the morning for coffee and in the evening for a sweet, dessert-style donut after dinner. I often bring friends here, especially at night when the music is blasting and the vibe is so fun! You don’t find many donut places with cool tunes and energy like this. Donut Pub is a national treasure! Best of all, it’s open 24 hours, so whether it’s an early start or a late-night craving, The Donut Pub always hits the spot. There’s plenty of seating, and it’s a comfortable, welcoming place to gather with friends or family

Donuts so many donuts!! 🍩 They also have the best black and white cookies!!! Don't skip them! Many different vegan and gluten free donuts too.

Excellent variety and concepts and they’re 24 hours? What more do you want? Gotta get their maple bacon croissant donut for sure!!! Be warned, bring lots of money for real enjoyment!

For it being my first time I was disappointed in the taste. It was very underwhelming. The croissant/donuts were dry and not enough glaze to really taste the flavor (maple). The service was top notch and the facility was clean and up beat

Queens Comfort is a local cash-only eatery that offers modern twists on American comfort food in a simple setting. The establishment is known for its collaboration with Montana D'Alessio Barbieri, also known as the Donut Diva, who supplies some of the city's best doughnuts every Sunday and serves cookies to hungry patrons during the week. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and quick service, making it an ideal spot for brunch with friends.
I am in LOVE with this place. Food and atmosphere is amazing. The staff is super friendly and instantly builds a rapport with their customers. Bathrooms were clean, service was quick. Food quality is unique and amazing. I’m from the DC area and we came to NY just to get Queens Comfort ! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Queens Comforts has been on my bucket list for years and we finally made up our mind to try when they announced their closure. They shortened their business hours to start at 5:00pm. We arrived there at about 4:30pm and there was already a long line around the corner. The menu was limited with only their signature options but we still had a difficult time to decide. The staff was friendly, welcoming and served everything in time. We had the Sugar Hill Beef Patty Burger, Truffle Mushroom Mac and Cheese, Atomic Fire Balls and Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers. The portion was great with reasonable price and we did a to-go with the leftovers. The food was overall amazingly delicious and appetizing especially for the Burger and Chicken Fingers. The patty was juicy and the brioche bun was soft. The batter layer of the chicken finger was crunchy and flavorful with sweetness. We might not have a chance to visit again but we felt so lucky to try before it’s too late.

My husband and I had a wonderful brunch at Queen's Comfort. This was our first time here and it was a cool experience. The staff was friendly, funny, and attentive. There was so many things to choose from on the menu. We settled on the Chicken and Waffles and the South by Southwest Benedict. We also got the disco tots. The decor was kitchy with old family photos, collectibles from your childhood...you just gotta go and check it out for yourself!

Came for brunch with my friends on Saturday. The place is crowded but the guy host was very welcoming and friendly. We had a good vibe while entering the restaurant. Service was pretty quick. We had couple of appetizers and entrees. The cheddar pancakes were too cheesy. When it came, we thought a pizza came because it looked like cheese pizza. Tots were boom. It was really good and fireball was also good. The chicken waffle was also good. Chicken was little dry and over cooked but with syrup it was good. The place was decorated very fancy. The clouds on the ceiling and toys were hanging around. The place was fully covered by toys and framed pictures. There was a live DJ and music was really good. I didn’t see liquor or beer menu but I saw people drinking alcohol in the restaurant. I guess it BYOB. Im not sure So ask the host or server before bringing your alcohol beverages. Overall we had a good time and we enjoyed our time in this restaurant. We will surely come back for brunch some other time.

The service is prompt and very accommodating as well. Staff is nice and friendly too. Great place for a date or to meet friends. LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!!

Enjoyed everything we ordered. Nice twists on comfort food, our favorite was the captain crunch chicken fingers and the pecan crusted blue burger. Looking forward to coming back to take advantage of BYOB, I hope that continues at new space. Specials change weekly so try not to fall in love with photos you see on line. The good thing is that there will be something else that should be exciting to try. Pretty solid Mac and cheese. I was hoping for more from my French fries though I won't fuss much because the main course held their own.

Super Nice Coffee and Bakery by Danny Macaroons is a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts. The coffee surpasses the usual stateside experience, and their cake doughnut is described as a game-changer. The matcha, scones, and pastries are highly recommended, although it's advised to arrive early as items tend to sell out quickly. Despite being a bit pricey, the quality of the food justifies the cost.
This is a small place, only for pickup, but the pastries and sandwiches have continued to impress me (these are the best donuts I have tried, hands down!) there is also a great variety of coffee and tea options. I will say that sometimes there can be a wait in line, but it’s so worth it!
Nathan B — Google review
I first came across Super Nice Bakery when someone brought their donuts along on a work trip and from then on I was completely hooked. They’ve become my favorite donut shop and I honestly look forward to them every time. The donuts are perfect but it doesn’t stop there, their matcha and coffee are just as good and make every visit even better. The people who work there are always so kind and the service makes you want to keep coming back. If you ever have the time, you should also check out their pizza restaurant. It’s packed with flavor and just as special as the bakery. Super Nice is one of those places you find once and never let go of.

Pretty nice place. I got a cappuccino and one of the peanut butter cookies. The cap was very bright, but the milk wasn’t foamed very throughly. It felt more like a latte. The cookie was delicious! It is smaller than I imagined it, but the flavor was amazing. Apologies for taking a photo after I bit it. The service was quick. The barista got my coffee out quickly and looked experienced on the bar. The doughnuts on display looked really good, and I plan on getting one at some point.
Aby S — Google review
As a baked goods expert :-), I can declare with great certainty that the glazed, maple and corn bread doughnuts are THEE most amazing ever! Point blank-no need to look further-this is the standard by which all other so called “fresh” doughnut shops should strive to produce. If they can’t, then just offer a great cup of coffee!
Angela G — Google review
Hidden Gem Alert! Just visited this super nice café and I’m already planning my next trip back. The pumpkin latte was absolutely amazing—perfectly spiced, creamy, and cozy without being overly sweet. It’s the kind of drink that makes you want to curl up with a good book and stay awhile. 🥐 Their laminated croissants are made in-house and you can taste the love in every flaky, buttery layer. Seriously delightful. And don’t even get me started on the danishes—each one is a work of art and a must-try. Whether you go for fruit, cream cheese, or something more adventurous, you won’t be disappointed. The vibe is welcoming, the staff are lovely, and everything feels thoughtfully crafted. Highly recommend for a treat-yourself kind of day.

I've been a regular at Super Nice Coffee for a while now, and I have to say, it’s truly a gem in East Harlem! My go-to order is always the Cheddar Jalapeño biscuits, which are amazing—perfectly savory with just the right kick. I’ve also tried their Maple Pecan Donut and Honey Glazed Cornbread Donut, and let me tell you, they’re worth every single penny. The staff is friendly and makes you feel like part of the community. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Super Nice Coffee is a must-visit. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Giant Donuts! Friendly Staff! Unique Flavors! Highly recommend the mango chili chili, passion fruit, and blood orange. Everything is excellent, however. Can't go wrong.
Suzanne J — Google review
I recently stumbled upon this small gem. I originally walked past but the smell captivated me and i had to walk back. The place is a little hole in the wall. Your serviced through a window. The gentleman at the register was really nice. He let me know that the bakery has been there for about 4years or so. I had personally never seen it before. They have a bunch of baked good but what i immediately went for was the donuts. They are huge and doughy. But yum yum they are flavourful and delicious. I ended up getting the fruity pebbles, glazes, maple pecan and passion fruit. My favorite was the maple pecan. I feel like the maple taste combined with the pecans was a perfect match. The donut wasnt overly sweet, it was perfect. The glaze was okay, i just wanted to try but i think going with the more exciting flavors is the way to go. The other two flavors were fruity goodness esp the passion fruit. The donuts themselves looked really beautiful. The inside of the bakery also looked really good. They have a pretty good menu size for a small location. Overall i highly recommend and cannot wait to return.

Guevara's is a vegan coffee shop and bakery in Brooklyn with an eclectic, bright interior. The cafe serves up some of the best breakfast sandwiches and pastries in Clinton Hill, as well as creative salads, pizzas, pasta dishes, and mock meats. Guevara's also has two locations: one in Williamsburg and one just opened up in Bushwick.
Super fun pink vibes at this grab n go location! There is seating but it mostly a spot for takeout coffee and vegan treats! Staff are very kind and friendly too. Most pastries are sweet but they have a bacon egg and cheese croissant for $9. It’s a great café to grab a quick coffee and snack and then head to Domino Park to enjoy it. Staff are always very kind and friendly too.

Great to have a lively spot with tons of vegan options! Loved the skinny fries. Wished there was a protein in the pozole but it tasted great. Service was awesome and trivia night a blast! Cool that it's Guevara's/mekelburgs combo experience.

I was missing the pastries from the baker who was previously at Terms of Endearment and was pleasantly surprised to find she is here now!! My new go to spot as I missed her various types of croissants so much (I had the pistachio one and it was incredible) and the staff working were so nice and helpful. yay!

Truly delicious specialty lattes, the Salted Maple and Cookie Butter lattes were incredible. The Vegan BEC croissant was so savory and salty, it was a much needed breakfast treat! The interior is so bright and fun, and filled with amazing smelling candles, pet treats and vegan specialty grocery items.

My hubby and I were looking for something vegan to eat late night and came upon this spot. Guevara's is in the heart of Williamsburgs Southside, which has definitely come a long way. The place is super cute, and the vibe is super chill! The staff and owner are very friendly and it's easy to see why this place is so popular. Atmosphere, location and service were top notch, but the vegan food sad to say, not so good! The cauliflower wings and chili cheese baked potato looked like slop. The Tortas melanesa was kind of all over the place, stacked very high, and was very messy. The flavors were overpowering and all over the place. I would rethink the menu. Sorry to say, the food was not worth the price!
Liv Y — Google review
Small spot for vegan pastries and drinks! Limited space but you can sit at the bar that is connected with. Slightly pricy in general. Im not vegan but their pastries were good surprisingly. Coffee menu was outstanding and creative as well. 🧁✨Gingerbread coffee muffin was delicious than my expectations! It was moist in the middle and crunchy on the top. The flavor was good and no oily smell. Croffle was a little bit oily for me, but the texture was good. Drinks were good as well, coffee from Oslo with their special flavors. A little bit pricy tho.
Julia H — Google review
A gusty waterfront belies a friendly experience with astonishing variety. The most important thing to know is to take a quick left to visit the vegan bakery; the shops most exceptional feature and a prized emerald. I met Andrea there who shared lore about the local and house made all vegan culinary creations that I could take. This is a superb place to pick out a gift. Get two though because the first may not make it home. Otherwise the audio is decently done despite the reflective environment. Full upbeat rhythms without being overbearing because its not distorted. So someone thoughtfully engineered the experience. The bottomline is that most people will feel warmed here and likely take something special home with them.

This place is a VIBE ✨ Wanted some good vegan food/coffee while exploring Brooklyn and stumbled upon this place. Super cute, beautifully decorated & loaded with plants- this place was wonderful. Loved the fun color aesthetic! Staff was super welcoming & kind. What I got: Iced latte- strong coffee with oat milk. Was delicious Egg/cheese breakfast empanada- wow! Soooo good! Deliciously warm & crispy. Loaded on the inside. Came with dipping sauce that was bomb. Donut- I don’t remember the name of the donut but it was amazing. It was massive. Like sooooo big. Delicious vegan cream cheese “frosting” with a sweet jam on the inside 🥹 This place was a wonderful surprise & I am so glad I stopped in! They also have a nice selection of vegan goodies to go!

Cloudy Donut Co. is a new addition to the neighborhood, offering delicious vegan donuts from a small storefront just off Joralemon Street on Columbia Place. The menu alternates weekly, featuring a variety of flavors in both large and mini sizes. Customers rave about the light fluffiness of the donuts and the delightful sweet potato roll. The shop has a clean minimalist aesthetic and is located near a cute park, providing a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy their delectable treats.
Cloudy Donut in Brooklyn is a gem! The donuts were out of this world, but the male worker made the experience even better. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help us choose the perfect flavors. Can’t wait to return, plus there is seating outside!

Cloudy Donut never disappoints! Their donuts are not only beautiful to look at but absolutely delicious. Every bite tastes fresh, fluffy, and perfectly balanced. The team there clearly puts so much care into their craft, and it shows. This season, I was thrilled to try their tiramisu donut—and wow! It’s rich, creamy, and melts in your mouth, with just the right touch of espresso and cocoa. Honestly, it tastes like heaven in donut form. On top of that, their prices are very reasonable for the quality and taste you get. These donuts feel gourmet without breaking the bank, which makes indulging in them even sweeter. I love them so much that I find myself buying donuts here every weekend—it has become a little tradition with my kids If you’re looking for donuts that go above and beyond the ordinary, Cloudy Donut is the place. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a sweet treat done right!

I've heard of Cloudy Donut and finally decided to visit after a recent collab with another local bakery. Upon arriving I was surprised at the limited donut options and wondered if I had shown up on an off day or maybe they were still baking their goodies? (It was a Saturday morning) To me, it didn't seem as if they had a wide selection of doughnuts nor did I see any other pastries that I've seen pictured in other reviews. The donuts were delicately decorated, but quite mini. I didn't feel that the quality of the donut made up for its size. The establishment is spacious and clean, but they do not offer any indoor seating. However, there are a table or two outside.

I love this spot, I have been to 100 vegan spots around the city, no one does a cinnamon bun like them! The owner is super friendly and kind/ she recognized me after just having been there once. I have traveled from NJ to get their doughnuts before, I strongly recommend going !

This store is adjacent to two coffee shops on a chic Brooklyn Heights block. I picked up a cinnamon roll. All products are vegan and the store vibe is clean. The cinnamon roll itself was sadly quite dry. I am not sure how 11$ is a justifiable price for such a product. Their sample donut too was dry. The level of sweetness however was quite right, not cloying. Staff was friendly and full marks for service. I would ask the bakers to modify recipes to make the goods moist and soft, so as to align with the premium price tags!
Pravesh S — Google review
So good! And everything vegan like me. The sexy, exciting, and inviting selection of goods has everyone pleased. I purchased the autumn box, which came with a cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven! It was light, airy, soft, ooey and gooey, packed with warm cinnamon flavor and just the right amount of icing. Then you got the choice of too many donuts and a muffin type cake. I chose a raspberry lemon mini donut and creme brulee mini donut; both were fantastic full of flavor and without any oily residue, taste or feeling. My final choice was what I called the "pone cake," a sweet potato muffin cake which was so moist and delicious, definitely a must get! Everything is a feast for the eyes. It looks so decadent and delicious, but nothing is too heavy or will have you feeling weighed down. I purchased a box with four items, which I loved. I thought it was a good deal. Everything looks so good; of course I wanted to try a variety and I ate the box over the course of the morning. Cinnamon roll first obvi because it was fresh out of the oven. Also the people working there are friendly and welcoming.

In an ever more crowded Brooklyn Donut landscape, Cloudy Donut Co. feels truly special. From the minute you walk in you can see that attention to detail is at the heart of everything they do. Small artisan quality donuts that cover a range of distinct flavors, Cloudy Donut Co. Is serving more than just sweet confections, they are creating truly memorable bites. The menu changes regularly so I highly encourage checking out the menu online to get a preview of what's available. If you are in Brooklyn and looking for a unique donut experience Cloudy Donut Co. Darn deceptive or darn incompetence, just don’t dare blame the donuts. Donuts were not on display and could only be ordered from a picture-less menu or the clerk’s description of the tempting treasures tucked away in the back. The clerk informed me that due to a malfunction she was unable to print a receipt and it must be emailed, then persisted to text it to me. I presume this was an attempt to coerce my placement onto a mailing list. The overpriced donuts at $3.27 each were incredibly fresh and delightfully delicious despite the terrible taste left in my mouth by their tactics.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Lilia is a converted auto-body shop in Williamsburg, owned by the renowned chef Missy Robbins. The restaurant offers wood-fired Italian cuisine and housemade pastas, along with a selection of cocktails. The menu showcases a variety of dishes inspired by different regions of Italy, such as sheep's milk cheese filled agnolotti with saffron and dried tomato, and black bass with salsa verde and coal roasted potatoes.
Lilia is an outstanding modern italian restaurant. I would rate it 4.5 stars, and rounding up to 5 this time because we ordered one of the dishes a second time. The agnolotti is to die for. Perfectly balanced and very rich and complex. We also enjoyed the focaccia and the little gem salad as appetizers. The prosciutto was okay, and the arancini were also only okay. Mafaldini pasta was good. The italian job dessert was good but we expected better from all the hype. Would come back, lovely place, and great setting.

I usually hear people going before they open to get a table, and was so excited that I was able to reserve online! The staff were nice and helpful with deciding our orders, and we were glad that we did not skip on the focaccia! I was way too full afterwards, so I think the 2 of us could’ve just gotten one pasta instead of 2 (or just one appetizer)!
Vicki — Google review
The Rigatoni was solid. But the Mafaldini lacked flavor. The Agnolotti was the star of the show. The fettucini ragù was flavorful but it was a lot of noodles and not enough sauce. We also ordered a rib eye steak that came out cold and rare, which had to be sent back. Overall this place is average, but overhyped. It’s a 3/5 stars and that’s an honest review. And I’ve eaten at hundreds of Italian restaurants.
Gaetano D — Google review
Such a friendly staff and a beautiful space—busy but not overly loud, which made for a comfortable dining experience. We didn’t realize both the ramp butter and chicken liver dishes came with huge pieces of bread. It would’ve been helpful if our server had mentioned that so we could’ve balanced our order a bit better. I usually love chicken liver, but the plating here—with a greenish-brown piping—was visually unappetizing and made it hard to enjoy. The pastas were nicely cooked, but I didn’t love the texture of the mafaldine with peppercorns—it had a gritty bite that was distracting. That said, the Italian Job gelato was absolutely life-changing. I came in with low expectations because, well, it’s just gelato—but it completely blew me away. Easily one of the best bites I’ve had all year. I’d come back just for that and to explore more of the menu. Definitely worth trying if you’re curious about the hype.

i love coming to lilia!!! the food is literally always so stellar (highlights: focaccia, clams, spaghetti, italian job) and the hospitality is unmatched (shoutout britt and elle). i try to come back whenever i can. such a special place :)
Katie I — Google review
Finally got a table here after years of having it on my list. I love sister restaurant Misi so was super excited to try Lilia. The service was excellent but the food let me down. The focaccia was flaky and dry — more like a biscuit than the chewy, moist dough I was expecting. The prawns were a chore to eat and the pastas were good but didn’t blow me away. It seemed like there was a bit of a backup in the kitchen on a Friday night and two of the dishes came out cold but the staff were incredibly accommodating and did everything they could to correct the situation.
Michelle D — Google review
Reservations months in advance at this local hot spot. Food is great and priced as such. Pizzas, pastas, lambs, chicken, but don't overlook the bread, it's fantastic. Food at that price point deserves a 4.5 but not 5 stars. Service and the atmosphere were both on point. Never skip dessert!
Michael N — Google review
Great food and service in a very casual but eclectic setting. There were a couple misses for us but overall absolutely delicious fresh food and we will definitely return. Mozz and bread is a large portion but absolutely worth trying. Cheese was soft and flavorful and bread was thick and crusty. Little gem salad as pretty to look at as it was to eat. Grilled artichoke, I probably could have eaten 5. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Bagna Cauda was a miss for us. The anchovy dip was overpowering and I think I just didn’t understand the dish. We tried the agnolotti based on our server’s recommendation and so glad we did. Soft creamy pillows of deliciousness. Spaghetti also delicious, pasta was al dente with texture from the nuts. Escarole was another recommended dish and it was very good and a nice side. The lamb steak was our other miss. It was cooked well but if I didn’t know I was eating lamb I would have thought it was a bland steak. It had no gamey lamb flavor. We didn’t know but will try next time that there is an off the menu steak and potato dish you can order. It looked and smelled amazing. This restaurant serves unpretentious delicious food, can’t wait to return and try more options.

Vegan restaurant

Restaurant
Nestled in The Pennsy Food Hall next to Penn Station, The Cinnamon Snail has transformed from a beloved vegan food truck into a must-visit brick-and-mortar destination. This eatery is renowned for its mouthwatering vegan sandwiches, burgers, and pastries that are sure to entice even the most skeptical diners. With signature offerings like their decadent crème brûlée doughnuts and indulgent cinnamon snails—an innovative twist on traditional cinnamon rolls—it's no wonder there's often a line out the door.
This is such a cool spot! Trendy, something for everyone and great atmosphere. I’m sure it would be even better in the summer. LOVED the Mac and cheese and apple turnover. The staff were very friendly and quick as there were a lot of people in line! Would have loved another whole bowl of Mac n cheese even my non vegan boyfriend liked it! Would recommend

A real winner! Set in an ideal location, this superb food stand became the safe and tasty choice during my recent NYC trip. Every menu choice is dressed to impress, and the flavour combinations and imaginative pairing had me ordering the Cinnamon Snail’s cookbook after my first visit. The cake selection is equally exciting and diverse, and I cannot recommend the Cinnamon Snail’s themselves highly enough. I do hope that this is where the wider vegan food experience model is headed.
Jamiel L — Google review
We were amazed at the look and taste of everything, and the service was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The Cinnamon Snail venture started as a single Vegan Kosher Food Truck launched on Valentines Day 2010, now it is also a Caterer, Pop Up Events, and Brick and Mortar location in the Pennsy Food Hall.
Haim R — Google review
I heard great things about this place and I’m very happy I decided to pop by when I was in the neighborhood. I have only tried their classic, (the cinnamon snail obviously!) but as a massive fan of non-vegan cinnamon rolls, this definitely satisfied me. My only complaint is that they are not served warm. I’m excited to come back and order some of their seitan sandwiches.
Shannon S — Google review
Really GREAT GREAT GREAT food. If you’re looking for a quick bite or even to sit down with some friends. I got the Sage Seitan burger and was not disappointed. BBQ Tots, SPICY !!! But it was totally worth the heat. Try their ginger ales also, very different and tasty. 10/10 !
Nisa M — Google review
Awesome food! Tastes amazing! Whether you are vegan or a meat eater, you will love the burgers. I had the smoked sage seitan burger with ziti on top and it was so delicious. I also had the creme brûlée donut. I can honestly say that it was the ABSOLUTE BEST donut that I have ever had in my life!! So happy that I went in today! Well worth the wait and price! Will be going back again as soon as possible!
K. M — Google review
Visited this place twice and I'm convinced that any of their donuts/cakes/Pop tarts are winners. The Beastmode Burger Deluxe is such a great burger - the patty is thick and really substantial. The mac and cheese filling was really tasty as was the coconut bacon. You get hints of smokiness and coconut with every delicious bite. I only wish there was more of the BBQ sauce since the patty was so thick. The Caramel Apple Crumb was really memorable; the apple pie filling was just perfect and the donut is everything you wish for in a really good donut (right balance between being bready and cakey). I also tried the seitan Beef Kofta sandwich special which had a really tangy green sauce. All in all, their donuts are an absolute must! I wished I could eat there everyday and that just sums up how much I love their food.
Adeline C — Google review
Ordered the Mac n cheese and it was very dry, with the bread crumbs just making it worse. No flavor. the customer who ordered before me bought all the raspberry cheesecake donuts. Snails not responsible for douche customers but it was a downside to the experience. So sidenote: they only have so many of specific donuts don't be a douche and buy every one of the same flavor - that's what private catering is for if you're coming for 2 dozen donuts. The donut I did get was a bit on the dry, stale side. I'd rather go to DunWell. Not coming back. On the plus side the employee at the register was awesome and friendly.

Home goods store
Homecoming in Greenpoint is a unique spot that combines a florist, gift shop, and coffee shop all in one. While it may not be your typical donut shop, it offers a serene and stylish atmosphere to enjoy some single-origin coffee drinks and freshly baked pastries. The staff exude positive vibes and are accommodating to every customer. In addition to serving Verve Coffee, the space also features ceramics, art, jewelry, and plants for sale.
The menu looks interesting. But most of special stuff were run out at around 2pm on Sunday. We got typical latte. HOWEVER, the corner and the greenery /flowers area are way too aesthetic and chill, lots of sunlight. Great for a girls out!

Great people, great flowers, best coffee in Brooklyn! Always brightens our day going there. Warm and welcoming to our toddler and puppy! Can’t recommend highly enough
Mike S — Google review
The rudest staff EVER. The woman working in the floral department is an absolute nightmare. She lost our business today and we live around the corner but will never be back. Kindness goes a long way!
Anna I — Google review
Ordered a chai for $7 plus tip and watched them pour it straight from a box. It was painfully sweet and undrinkable. When I asked if I could exchange it, the guy said he’d have to charge me again. I left the drink on the counter and walked out. Ridiculous prices for poor quality and zero customer service.

Vanessa created my dream flower arrangement for my wedding bouquet. She was super kind, communicative, and responsive throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

a beautiful coffee shop. i don't find most coffee places memorable but this place had the loveliest atmosphere. casual but nice collection of furnishings, ceramics and plants. and delicious cup of latte
Jacqueline W — Google review
Fell in love with this place! Great variety of coffee, plants, flowers, candles, the list is long! You can get a coffee of choice, sit in the outside back area, and read a book, work or just chill... Enjoy!

Neighborhood favorite. Great coffee and amazing selection of fresh cut flowers and dried flowers. Pre made bouquets are always on point as well. P.S. the salted peanut butter cookies are the best.
