A must! Incredible views. We went up just before sunset and then after sunset, we had a drink and A DELICIOUS AND GENEROUS portion of their fries with truffle mayo and parmesan, so worth it. After that we went back out to experience the views of the lights. It's like 3 experiences in 1. Highly recommend it to locals and tourists.

Absolutely stunning views and great hospitality. The restaurant, which is accessible by a high-speed lift up overlooks the spectacular scenery of Rotterdam. Food was delicious and service was really friendly. Highly recommended for a visit if you're in Rotterdam.

The waiter was pretty rude! One of the waitresses got us a table with a nice view but that was all of the good experience. We waited 20 minutes to order and when the waiter came he told us that table has a reservation and we had to move to another one so we left the restaurant.

We saw Euromast from the outside. I think the entrance fee is too much. We didn't go up the tower. But it gives a different atmosphere to the city. The park right next to it is very well organized. There is a nice walking area.

Was great to br able to see Rotterdam from such a height and there is a small video you watch to show the history of Rotterdam. Would have been better if they had signs to show what you are looking at once you are on the viewing platform. Instead there is a QR code you can scan and then you are supposed to be able to point your camera at things and it will tell you what it was, however it doesn't work well at all. You also have to buy a more expensive ticket to go to the highest point. They also do abseiling down the Euromast which wasn't widely advertised.

Great views of Rotterdam, and the extra pay to go up to the top is worth it, but the down side is the wait to get into the Euro scoop, you wait out side is the wind and rain. But the view is worth it. Wrap up warm if you visiting in the winter

Great variety of all sorts of beers, from IPA, blonde to dark-anything you like. Also the wine menu is quite alright, prices are very fair aswell. Important side note: you should definitely try the vegan (!!!) bitterballen plus mustard with your drink!

Nice bar with music and a very lively atmosphere. Its nicer late night and surrounding areas are nice as well.

Met some great people in the bar when I visited Tuesday (12/08/25) and even connected with them on socials, I am English but people there was happy to teach me Dutch and speak English to me, the bar staff are amazing, great music and even the security guard on that night was amazing, checked my ID and considering it was a British passport he completed it very quick and wished me a good night, definitely will visit again when I am back next month and also in October when I come back again.

Okay, this place was fascinating. Being over 60, I was way too old for this venue - its definitely for the younger crowd. That said, felt perfectly at ease here. An abundance of restaurants/fast food places, outdoor kiosks, beer tapes, and a DJ turning electronica. Grabbed a bit of food and several beers from a few places. There are steps that have a Sacre Vibe where the patrons gathered as the sun went down. Very chill. Very cool. It was always our plan to end up here, and although the few blocks between our hotel and this were the seediest part of town we saw, the biergarten itself was excellent.

As good vibes go, this place has it all. Food, music, drinks, service… is a must to try with friends and family and enjoy the best time in Rotterdam. Food: definitely great portions and excellent quality. Portion sizes are big enough to share with your group.

Our stay at the Biergarten was excellent! The alcohol free Radler in the sun was the perfect start in the day. As main dish I got the Chicken Burger and the Fries 2.0 The burger patty was not too fatty and was fried perfectly. The fries are an absolute must with the Parmesan sauce it was just delicious!

I was a bit unlucky with my timing so I couldn't see any artists performing. Nevertheless, great selection of drinks and the staff helped me with getting an idea what I can imagine behind the terms on the menu. Also some adaptions due to allergies were made. As some other places were quite underwhelming in regards of vegan options for me, this became my little safe space during my trip. Thank you so much Rotown Crew!

Rotown is a nice place to have a drink and enjoy a great variety of concerts. Also have the option to eat nice food for good price. Oh! I discovered some weeks ago that since February every Sunday you can eat breakfast from 10 to 13. I tried once and was delicious! All you can eat for 8,50€ (drinks excl). Nice right? ;)

Fantastic vegan spot. The vegan chicken was SO crispy and the fries were also really really good. Service was quick and friendly and I LOVED the general vibe in the venue. If I lived in Rotterdam I have no doubt I'd be a regular here.

it's not a nice place, it used to be better. warm vodka and poor service at the bar. I don't recommend. Lockers Cost 2e which you can open only 1 time then you have to pay again, i expect much more but looks like this club sank down

Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Especially since you have to pay for everything, including the bathroom. And of course, the drinks are expensive. Still you can have fun.

A nice live stage . Easy access, close by to the train station. Only complication was the safe box , that it works with special coins but it’s not well informed, so a lot of people, including me we put €2,- ( that it’s written) and the young realised that it doesn’t work .. Anyway that’s the only minus point..

Been to this venue a couple of times to party! Mind that you cannot pay cash at this place! But you need a 2€ coin to use a locker. It is a cozy venue where you can get really close to the artists, which is something I really like.

If you care about clubbing, avoid this venue at all costs. Music was fine, but the entire club runs on a scamming operation where you have to buy tokens for everything, including to go to the bathroom. If you are 18 and don't know any better, that would be tolerable, but if you are an experienced clubber this will grate your soul against the post-capitalist dystopia that is the essence of this club. Avoid at all costs, save your money, and find a bar that stays open late instead.

Do not make the same mistake as me and visit this club. There is no issue with the music, sound system, entrance fee, bouncers, etc. But after entry, you must exchange money for tokens to buy drinks at the bar, including just water. Additionally, it is 1 token to use the bathrooms! Water and restrooms are basic human rights that you must PAY FOR in this venue. This unethical business practice is disgusting. Do not visit Toffler! Remove this token scheme and make it free to use the rest rooms.

I’m gonna start by saying that i’ve been in the Rotterdam club scene for years now. This club is absolutely the worst club i’ve been in (and i’ve seen some horrible stuff in clubs). Lets start with the prices: 20 euro entry fee on a normal day. Nothing special was going on The club was absolutely DEAD It was full of creepy men that can’t wait to get a chance to touch you. Even if it was non consensual The whole place operates on “coins” (which is fine a lot of places do) BUT THIS ONE takes the cake for Scamiest one After your 20 euro entry fee. You ofcourse have to pay for TOILETS?!? And you guessed it. By coins You can only get 3 coins at a time and that costs 10,50. And the toilet is a coin. Lockers were expensive too! Every thing in that club was overpriced NOW TO THE SECURITY/BOUNCERS! Absolutely the worst of the worst The security came up to me in the lockers and snatched my purse and started going through it because i looked “suspicious”. He genuinely acted more aggressive than a police officer looking for drugs. And while all of this was going on. HE DID NOT EVEN SPEAK A WORD! Until he found nothing. And didn’t even apologize after. And now the music: One word. Boring Please don’t waste a single cent on this place. The vibes were extremely hostile and it just feels extremely unsafe for girls

Overall it was a great experience ! The sound quality is great (bring your earplug as they don't give them for free but you can buy for 5€), the atmosphere is nice and underground, bar staff is super friendly !! :) Reasonable price for the drinks. We were celebrating a bachelorette party and a bit worried of the comments about the security guards but really nothing to declare. They were doing their job and we felt safe, no rudeness at all. You need to pay 2€ for access all night to toilets, but they were filthy, really not clean.. event for candies you need to pay. Not used to pay for everything in a club that's the only thing we have to say :)

Worst club I have ever been in Rotterdam. The security guards are racist and they are there to destroy people’s nights. Tonight we were trying to get into the club and first we got and ID check. He checked the ID of my brother and afterwards he said he couldn’t enter, just because he was using sweat pants. But the pants were just an excuse. I asked the security to show me the dress code in the conditions of the ticket and he said he is not gonna talk to me if I don’t speak Dutch, which dressconditions is the same world. Of course there was no dress code in in the club and he said afterwards that it is a condition because he says that. We had to go and change clothes so he could enter. What a way of ruining someone’s night. TRY TO CHOSE EVERY CLUB RATHER THAN THIS ONE.

Food was burger or veggie burger, we don’t eat. There is some amazing beers on tap. Think the idea was it was going to be a good hub. It’s not quite there yet. But there are lots of great food places within walking distance. Sit and enjoy a beer 🍺 or 2 and if a burger is for you then you’re in.

Great beer selection and a small selection of sandwiches and toasts. If only the gluten-free options were of similar size as its glutenous counterparts, leaving some folks kinda hungry :-/ Good music though and friendly staff!

This is an incredible food hall with great variety and service. I tried the Pho beef soup from the Vietnamese restaurant and my partner tried the burger place. Both dishes were so tasty and they were actually big portions. They also have a bar so you can have a drink with your food - they have their own local beer! They also support other local breweries in the area. The athmosphere is cozy and I recommend a date night there if you can't decide where to eat - they have all types of food there.

Relaxing National Trust garden with plenty of walks and plants to look at. We went to see the bluebells (the website said they were out) but when we arrived they'd mostly gone past their best. Check before you visit.

The new location still maintain its hipster flavor. It is amazing alternative spot for quick bites and good craft beers. Now the step up is that there many, many more seats outside looking at a calm river and with a sunny day, this is one of the places you want to be for a post industrial modern drink.

A really nice little food market, about 15 minutes by bike from the city centre. The views from the seating area are quite stunning. We had a cheeseboard, tried some of the beers, and had a really lovely time sat in the sun. The prices seemed about average for the Netherlands.

I really like this place for partying but they increased the price for entrance fee like 5€ at once. It is becoming quite expensive, and it is one of the few nice places in Rotterdam so makes it less accessible unfortunately. Probably the reasoning is sth along the line of their costs are getting high, but still really a pity.

We attended a wonderful performance at the Bird. A great little venue with a personal feel. They had Budweiser on tap which was unexpected since you don't often see American beers on tap here in the Netherlands. Enjoyable evening all around. There was a minor snafu with the ticketing system that was quickly resolved.

The starter was the first surprise. A wonderful Carpaccio. Afterwards we had the fish of the day, another taste explosion with sea-grass, artichokes and some kind of stuffed pasta. But the dessert hit us like a bus. Mango-Panda cotta with five-spices-ice cream. Wow! What a match. Chapeau to the chef. Service was excellent. Questions about the food were answered promptly and the wine-suggestions matched perfectly. Thank you for making this “regular evening” something very special.

All organisers should boycott this venue and attendees too. I am already telling everyone about this and I will never stop. It's a huge scandal that everyone must know: they charge you 2 euros to use the toilet for each use. Quite frankly, this is disgusting - my friend had endometriosis too (health condition, very strong periods), yet that didn't change mind. Stop charging people money to use the toilet, the venue should hire cleaners - it's ridiculous to expect customers that are already paying for food and drinks and music to pay AGAIN for the toilet. This is a basic human right.

I love this place. A great green oasis in the middle of Town with real glass, good cocktails en lovely pizza's. You can sit back and relax in chairs in the grass. MUST GO!

Well known jazz club in Rotterdam. Has a restaurant, a bar and if course a stage. Location of my dad's last jazz concert, and my son's first, some years back. My son actually played here tonight. Pretty cool. Nice place. Paid parking around the back.

In my opinion, it is one of the best event venues in the Netherlands. The venue is huge and has a lot of lockers and toilets as well, which isn't always the case with event venues. A lot of parking spots close to the venue as well.

Amazing venue in Rotterdam. Has large hall to have techno rave in. Has a lot of lockers to store your belongings in. Has alot of toilets male and female. Well run in this industry, and had an amazing weekend.

Attended the Sofa vs Dancehall event on March 1st. Awesome shows and the different artists and DJ's that travelled from abroad to perform. The toilets could use a bit of an upgrade. Very spacious inside and well ventilated. Depending on the next interesting event held, I'd surely attend.

The place is nice and big, however I had to leave at 1 since I went out to smoke and apparently you are not allowed to go back in. Apparently that is a “policy” in all Dutch clubs according to the security which I am confident is not the case since that is not the first club I am visiting here. I was never notified upon leaving that I may not go back in which resulted in me without a jacket in 9degrees cold weather (even though I paid 20 euros for ticket that I showed). A quick tip: either note that “Dutch policy” on the website or inform people who are going outside that they may not go back in- unreasonable in my opinion. Experience was 0/10 because of that.

I know that dutch clubs are nothing special but this time im not only disappointed but actually mad. Inside everyone is “marking” their territory wherever they find comfortable (including hallways and other man areas). Setting that to the side, me and a friend of mine went outside to smoke but were not let back in because according to dutch club’s policy you are not allowed inside once you leave the establishment despite having tickets- makes sense right? I had 0 drinks which allowed me to speak with the security guards explaining that we were not informed about that neither upon exiting nor online (so I guess you need to me a medium to know that). We stayed in the cold with no jackets at 1am since we were not even let in to get our jackets inside. Mid conversation I was told that if I dont leave immediately things will get bad for me. Absolutely 0 assistance from the club management (not adequate btw). All of that resulted in getting sick and having to beg for my own personal belongings. So basically I payed 20 euros for 1 hour inside and a quick cigarette in front of the establishment. Customer experience was next level.

After waiting for like 2 hours outside (cold) in the row finally made it inside which is a shame! The concert started late but finished on time. Shame on this. The place is nice tho but the smoke inside almost killed my lungs.

Close quarters club, no place to chill and relax. Bouncers can be quite aggressive and unfriendly. Toilets are usually pretty disgusting but free. Entre fee is pretty low and normal prices for drinks. Music depends on the night. But the dancefloor is usually too crowded. Can have a good time though.

One of the longest existing clubs in Rotterdam! Plenty of international hits, reggaeton, hiphop, house and more. Good drinks and not too expensive.

Enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. However upon our first arrival our cab dropped us off next to the ship and it wasn't clear which of the three ways to board was the correct entrance, and eventually we figured out the entrance was the stairway tower with the broken elevator. There was also a noticeable difference between the breakfast buffet on the weekend and the weekday breakfast buffet. But we loved the retro vibe and the vintage luggage and ship displays. Plus walking the nearby small neighborhood which has a couple good restaurants.

A beautifully maintained ocean liner from a bygone era. Now it’s a hotel, museum and restaurant. It’s free to enter and roam around the public areas or visit the cafe and restaurant. However the all area tour requires the purchase of a ticket. There is a small cinema which is free to enter and showing a short video of what travel would have been like on this ship. From the top deck you also have a good view of Rotterdam and the harbour. I recommend to combine this visit with the FENIX migration museum which is in walking distance and gives a broader overview and shows videos of shipping of that era including film material of the SS Rotterdam.

Had drinks and appetizers in the Captain's lounge of the former Holland America flagship. They were very and the G&T was well presented, decorated with mint leaves and strawberries. While undoubtedly a great ship in the 1950s, I'm glad we are sailing on the new one tomorrow.

We had an excellent stay on the SS Rotterdam. We stayed for two nights in a deluxe room, including breakfast, and had dinner in the Lido restaurant on one of the evenings. This was our sixth stay on the ship. During previous visits, we stayed in a family room, which I don’t recommend due to ventilation system noise. The watertaxi platform is very convenient, allowing easy access to various locations in Rotterdam. It’s also a very pleasant walk from the ship to Hotel New York, the Erasmus Bridge, the Cube Houses and the Markthal. The staff were friendly and we had a wonderful time.

Honestly just a fantastic place to stay! Really felt like a unique one of a kind hotel. We were there for a week in July and my children talk about it every day. The little paddling pool for children on the top deck is fantastic!! The rooms are spacious and charming. But our favourite part was probably the water taxis which pick you up right outside and zip you across to the centre in minutes. Absolutely blew us away and we’d love to visit again one day!

My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. The location is excellent with water taxi service right onto the ship. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and restaurant. The Lido open air deck is fantastic! Our room was a suite which was very nice. Finally, free shuttle to the cruise terminal (at least when cruising on Holland America, not sure about other cruise lines).

Water pressure is too low for reasonable shower. Size of the rooms is very good. My biggest concern with this property is that I was locked into the emergency escape stairwell with no way either back into the rest of the ship nor out of it. This is dangerous and unacceptable and the front desk did not recognize this problem.

1. The place is huge. They have 20+ tables outdoor and like at least 30 tables indoor so finding a table will not be an issue. 2. The service is quick and very friendly. 3. The food was good. Nothing special or extraordinary. 4. Their ice teas are very good. I would recommend their ice tea. 5. Their tacos are overpriced. And I felt not worth the price. The taste was average. 6. Their burrito salad was a little bland. But adding their homemade habanero sauce will fix this. 7. Their sweet potato fries were the best. That was the tastiest dish we ordered 10/10. Overall a good restaurant. This is OK to go to if you're craving for some Mexican. Not my first recommendation for Mexican cuisine but this place is not bad.

Supermercado is what you imagine Mexican food to be if you live anywhere not in Mexico. I appreciate the serving sizes of the food and for what it is, it's serviceable. But honestly I almost forgot I went to this place until I went back to check out the places I've been in Rotterdam. It is popular with the locals though, and the place fills up pretty quickly during dinnertime, especially when the weather's good out.

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We sat inside, it was packed and loud. Tip- make a reservation in advance. We ordered the nachos and tacos which were alright. It came cold and dry. The surprise for us was the chicken and coleslaw. It was juicy and tasty. I also had the lychee cocktail which was nice! We spent close to EUR 200 for 4 people including food and drinks, which I personally found a bit steep for the quality of the food.

I went here for an apericena with friends. The service was excellent: the girl who served us was really kind and attentive, definitely a positive point. As for the food, the experience was mixed: • Nachos were okay, nothing special. • The burger was good and well prepared. • The salmon with rice and asparagus was tasty and well done. • The Mexican picanha was disappointing — it seemed more like flank steak than true picanha. • The French fries had an unpleasant smell, probably because the oil had also been used to fry fish. Prices are quite high, so we expected more attention to overall quality. 👉 My advice to the restaurant: take more care in selecting the meat and pay attention to the quality of the frying oil — it really makes a difference! That said, we’ll be happy to come back and give it another try.

The place has a nice and cozy atmosphere, the service was nice and fast. The nachos were really good but the tacos disappointed… they were a bit cold and the tortilla fell apart before eating. Would recommend the place to drink something and eat some nachos but the tacos are definitely overpriced for their quality.

My partner and I attended our friends birthday party at Supermercado and we were quite excited about the location however to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. For info we were with a group of 14 people and had the a la carte option. We took the picanha option with fries and corn. The picanha the waiter told me would be entrecote instead. The piece of meat seemed like it was quite low quality as it had alot of chewy bits that couldn't really be eaten. We asked for medium rare and it was basically well done. The chimichurri also didn't have a nice flavor in our opinion (3 people ordered same thing and we all had different nationationalities so it's also not a local preference or something) all in all the meat was pretty bad, the nachos that the group ordered and the fries were pretty good. So were the drinks. Would I go back? No the price for what I got was too bad in my opinion but I can see that some people might enjoy it

Drinks are great in general! The spicy margarita is really spicy and could be more flavorful. We got the chips and salsa (pico de gallo) which was disappointing. We were offered very little salsa for the amount of chips we got. Salsa was very watery and was more of tomato water. We found the chips to be better with the spicy mayo sauce from the jalepenos con queso dish.

It’s a nice Dutch place…nothing fancy. The drinks were fine, maybe a little overpriced, but that’s expected in the city. Nice staff helped create and warm atmosphere.

While the staff is friendly and welcoming, the food didn't quite meet expectations in terms of value. The prices here are a bit high for what you get. On the bright side, we enjoyed watching the Holland vs. Turkey match during our visit. The atmosphere was vibrant, with everyone engrossed in the game, making it a memorable experience. A notable point is that the table service stops quite early at 19:30. After that, all orders need to be placed at the bar for self-service.

We visit the place quite often. It is in a really nice location close to the city center of Rotterdam. It offers many options regarding drinks, snacks and brunch. The staff is friendly. Totally recommend it!

Fast and friendly service. Great place to sit and scape 33 suffocating degrees. Plenty of place to choose from on a Saturday afternoon. The menu has many options, we order some loaded fries with chicken and they were delicious. Also great variety of beers! I tried two but I will come back to try others and definitely one of their burgers! Really recommended!

Nice beers but way overpriced. Seems like they're mainly relying on tourists and rich folks to go and hang out there as the view is amazing.

Ever since they moved, it is not the same anymore. Inside it all feels cramped, and I really think the magic has sort of gone now. If you would have to sit inside because of poor weather, in the end what you get a a good yet overpriced beer. If the weather allows, the outside area is nice and may attract you to visiting them

The right atmosphere and selection for such a nice place in Rotterdam. De Kappse at Fenix Food offers a wide selection of their beers and also from some invited breweries. There are also some cans and bottles available and even with the place crowded, the service is efficient. Great job!

The greatest place for beer in Rotterdam. Period. Apart from their own tasty selection, there's always a wealth of great international craft beers on tap. Add to that the nice surroundings of the Fenix Food Factory, their own little place in there (with friendly staff and awesome jazz sessions) and - if weather permits - the whole dock outside to spread out onto (with one of the best views of the city), and you've easily got my favourite spot in the city.

Went here with some friends and it was a really nice place with a big selection of beers on tap. The venue is quite cozy and there’s plenty of couches and chairs to choose from. There’s also board games for a more chill experience. The beers range from blondes to stouts to IPA’s so there’s something for everyone. The beers are decent however none I tried really blew me away and the venue on a Thursday was really empty which was a shame but maybe it was just an off night. Overall good venue and a nice place to try many beers so I do recommend.

Amazing selection of unique beers, great vibe and a must-see for beer lovers. Might be quite smelly inside because of the brewing process though, but that just adds to the charm. Don't forget to check out the bottle shop and the rest of the food factory like Cidercider.

Waited over 1hour for food that we had to order and prepay in advance, staff was not organized nor helpful. Even tho I understand the kitchen can be understaff, waiters could inform clients ahead….Their digital menu was also showing everything as sold out. I do not recommend this place.

Interesting and nice experience, cocktails are not bad. There were a few red flags regarding the cocktail making process, how to shake cocktails should not splash liquids and the bartenders should be able to taste the cocktails as they give them.

Fun bar in Rotterdam, drinks were made really well and the atmosphere was good. Seats weren’t really comfy though. Also, drinks and food selection wasn’t great, but the drink they had on the menu were all really delicious. Service was also quick and nice.

Friendly staff. There was supposed to be Hip hop and RnB music but if you expect to hear 50cent and that kind of stuff... Run. There were no people until 2am and at the end there were max 20 people. I absolutely do not recommend.

Most unfriendly bouncer I have ever met. Almost got punched in the face for no reason. After that I told my friends to go in side, did not want to ruin their night because we payed for entry tickets. They left the place after 10 minutes because it was almost empty inside and the music was not great. Worst vibe I have ever had

Really dissatisfied with this club, firstly it’s one of the only clubs in Rotterdam witte de Witt straat that charges entry fee (15eu). Then you also have to pay 50c every time you go to the toilet (what?) and to top it off the the place is at the basement level not even full probably 50% full but blazing hot! With music that’s super mid and boring so I don’t really know how they justified the 15eu when you can get a way better experience by any one of the number of bars (like NRC, witteaap) that has better aircon better music and no entry fee

Had a great dinner with the Family for my birthday with a group of 7. We started out with some drinks at the bar and after that we went to have dinner. We chose the 2nd menu, it is possible to switch up some dishes. The food was amazing as well as the timing for each course and the service in between! Also make sure to try their Champagne! Wonderful night that I would recommend to anybody!

We had a lovely diner and evening. We arrived 15 minutes before our 19:30 reservation, so we hit the bar with a glass of wine. The ambience was really nice, dimmed lights, soft music, created an unique atmosphere. No one rush us to meet our reservation, I believe they might be taking only one reservation per night, so you can enjoy every moment and step if you get a multiple course dinner. We moved to our table after a while, and we were welcome by the staff. Get ready to eat, the welcome dish was some Spanish ham, this is courtesy and not charged. We opted for a 5 course dinner accompanied by a “pairing” (basically one different wine per dish that should fit well with it), but in this case we limited it to 3 (consider it as an option if also don’t feel like drinking too much), since we felt that it we would had to rush to finish each cup. The whole experience allows you to take your time, have a nice evening, enjoy the dishes and wine. The food was simply incredible, we were really happy with our choice, and we enjoy every single bite. Even the most simple things like bread and butter were exquisite. The selection of wine was also outstanding. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were very attentive. My girlfriend standup to go to the toilet, and one waiter put her chair on its place and neatly positioned her napkin on the table. We left really full and really happy. We would probably come back some day. More than recommended!

A friendly welcome and relaxed, smiling service. The only problem was that the kitchen wasn't able to deliver our dish as requested after 30 minutes, so we had to opt for 2 other dishes with a bit of delay... I'm not sure that the music from the islands is really appropriate for the setting, which is a good one. A place to visit, as well as the surrounding area.

Am totally confused about this place. The reviews are raving and then we had a client dinner there and no one enjoyed it. Some of us took the vegetarian menu and some the fish and steak. So overall we tried everything. We also started with the oyesters and vegetarian bitterballs which were honestly the best part of the meal. Then the vegetarian menu, out of four dishes 2 were cold. It wasn’t great. Then the risotto was made of sunflower seeds (why would you do this to me) and we had a pumpkin apricots ravioli which we couldn’t even have two bites. We ate the cheese inside and left the rest. The fish had no taste. In that full meal the steak was the best course The desert was good and was honestly the saving grace of the meal. The staff were brilliant, ambiance was great but you can’t have overpriced food with such pool quality honestly.

Friendly staff. We had the 6 course deluxe meal, best dish was the first delicious steak tartar. Loved the bread with the glitter butter! Other courses were good. Dessert was a let down a few strawberry pieces with a little ice and cream. Cocktails are pretty good. Cappuccino after dinner was very poor. 3 stars mainly because of the value for money ratio.

It’s a really big station and looks really nice. There are lots of place to sit and wait for your train. The outside looks gorgeous and perfectly designed also. The only thing that bother me is that the station can be sometimes a mes. And also the staff are really appreciative and kind but some of them can be harsh for no reason.

Beautiful central station with helpful security staff, one needs the ticket bar code to enter and exit. I was facing an issue making it work but the security staff member was kind enough to help me. The displays of the train numbers and platform nos.are clear. Variety of food options inside the station to choose from.

Yeah look, I love the architecture from the outside, to the point that if I had been if I had been an architect I wish I would've designed that shape. The service centre could be quite busy but the staff was very nice and helpful and got me the ticket to go Amsterdam, even though honestly, I probably could've bought it from one of the machines if I wasn't so technologically challenged. I know I'm nitpicking and this is the standard in Europe, but I really hate it when I have to pay to go to the dunny when nature calls and despite some other reviewers comments about there being plenty of seating spaces, I didn't see a lot of seating places in the platform and I had to sit on my suitcase. As a result, the bread I bought as a gift for my ex-boss ended up being squashed from the force of my butt. But that one is on me.

Beautiful construction and a very efficient station with good food options, plenty of lifts and helpful staff. Located in a brilliant spot. Will still mark this 5 stars as everything is overwhelmingly so good but would like to mention the poor standards of toilets. The toilets are not by the government they're located upstairs and it's a company operating of which I forgot the name. We went into the disabled toilets for a baby change and the smell was horrific to the point we had to change our baby in the corner in his pram which is horrible. The person who worked at the toilets had a horrible attitude and when I asked him for a bin for the babies nappy he started shaking his head and sighed before he picked up the bin to give it to me. Very rude person which left us feeling awful for a few hours after that experience. Thankfully everyone else around was very pleasant. Definitely one of the nicer stations to look at in the Netherlands!

Beautiful station and a real Rotterdam landmark. Modern design with subtle nods to older stations, like the sculpture from the old station, reminds me the old days, and the lighting—bright plaza by day, glowing hall at night—really works for a busy hub. The roof clearly thinks about sustainability. Biggest problem: hardly any seating place like benches or chairs, so it's not great if you want to pause. On the flip side, fewer seats do keep people moving, which helps the flow.

Great place for a wide variety of beers, but it's hard to find a table. More often than not, we have walked by and not gone inside because it's just too busy. One time we arrived at 16h, just as they were opening, and we got a table, and it was a lovely experience!

I went there with a group of friends and we had a nice experience. The place is nice, with different ambients and nice decorations. The service was good even though the place was crowded. They indeed have +200 options for beer and the price is fair.

Am sorry but who thought this would be a good idea for a after party?! Booze and stairs and balcony's ehhh nope.

We attended the Sagopa Kajmer concert and also had tickets for the after party, so we bought two separate tickets in total. The artist I was looking forward to seeing was on stage for less than an hour, but still, it was nice to listen, sing along, and share the moment with an artist we love. However, after the concert ended, there were very few people left, and even though there were plenty of empty seats, we were told to get up from where we were sitting—twice. My sister was tired, so she had to sit on the stairs while we waited for the after party. Then, we were told we couldn’t sit there either. The staff’s attitude was absolutely terrible; no customer should be treated that way. In a nearly empty venue, being forced to move from our seats felt completely unfair. The party, scheduled between 11:30 PM and 5:00 AM, was almost empty, and most areas were roped off as “VIP,” not allowing anyone in. It wasn’t lively at all, so the after party ticket ended up being a waste. The staff really need to learn to speak to customers more politely. The venue itself had a nice atmosphere, but the organization was weak, and we couldn’t see any other positives. Still, after such a long time, it made us happy to be at Yunus Abi’s concert again.

Went for Bollywood Brunch. Good location (close to central station). Had tickets but still had to pay to hang up my coat. They didn’t let me in with my coat either, so I had to pay for it..

While waiting for the after party to be prepared, we were not allowed to sit in the clean seating areas. Even when we sat on the stairs, we were told to move. The bartender was very inexperienced, and instead of solving the issues we reported, he acted indifferent. Overall, there was a lack of attention and care, and we were not satisfied with the experience.

one of the worst club i’ve ever been to. it was genuinely bad. Club was literally empty and dead at 1am. Feels like you’re in an arena with men sitting around and looking at you. Dance floor is about 1/5 of the whole space, the rest being grandstands. The crowd is composed of 30 year olds and clearly underaged girls. Anything to fill the arena. Also super expensive. 2€ per piece of clothing + 2€ for each bathroom trip. Finally, the music is bad. That’s it. Do it at the risk of your own peril.

Nicest club in Rotterdam with great atmosphere and dancers, but often poorly organized and relatively expensive drinks. Expect to wait +30 min in line on an event night and sometimes another 30 to hang your coat 🙃

Not a bad club They dont offer free ear plugs which is the norm is most techno clubs with a decent sound system these days. The ear plugs they sell cost 4 euros and are made for a child under 10 years old. No point using it. And you have to pay for the toilet. Really?

Avoid this venue at all costs. The bouncers denied us entry with their reason being that we didn’t have enough girls, despite having already paid for a ticket. Not only did they disrespect us but I suspect their motives were racially motivated.

Nice underground atmosphere. Had a great night and banging sounds. Also bar is well equipped for underground club. Bar can easily accept any cards. Also club has very handy lockers for your personal staff, which I found way better that cloak room.

We came here on a Friday evening as a large group of colleagues, almost 20 people, and luckily—despite having a reservation inside—we were able to find a spot outside thanks to the lovely weather. Following the waiter’s recommendation, I ordered a Paloma, and it was truly delicious—lightly sweet, easy to drink, and very refreshing! I even ordered a second one. We shared some nachos to start. They were tasty, but I was expecting something with ground meat—instead, it came with just cheese sauce, spicy sauce, and chips. For taco, I had ‘Birria’ —the pulled beef and the melted cheese, and it was delicious. The service was a bit slow and there were a few mix-ups here and there, but considering it was a busy Friday night and we were a large group, I think it was all within an acceptable range.

FINALLY GREAT TACOS IN ROTTERDAM!!! But ALSO, great service AND cocktails?!?! SI SEÑOR!!! 🫡🫡🫡 I'm Mexican and a foodie, so it was my goal to find great tacos here.... and I can happily say that these are truly FANTASTIC! I had the lechon and birria tacos. The lechon was soft, juicy and perfectly cooked and the birria.... wow.... one bite and you'll go to taco heaven 😋 These tacos are like they should be: a PUNCH of flavor with every bite 🙌 Oh but it doesnt end here! 💅 They also have fantastic cocktails and a quite nice selection of Mezcal bottles, which is a rare find in Rotterdam. Last but not least, the service is super friendly, gives great recommendations, and is attentive. Atmosphere wise, it starts quite nice and chill around 6-7pm; but once the food is over and the drinks keep coming, it definitely becomes a more lively and and cozy!

Best Cocktail bar in Rotterdam! We went there for national Paloma day (22-5) and believe me !! This spot is really great. Nice staff, good drinks (for sure you need to order a Paloma or 2) and nice food.

The Best cocktailbar AND in my hometown!!! No surprise they are the best of the Netherlands. Great classic cocktails and an epic Paloma (very scary this one, it is like drinking a soda 😅) but the best part of this bar is the food/snacks that they serve. The food could also be their best selling point. Everything is served with a smile and the staff clearly know what they are doing.

I just wanted to go to Amsterdam Shiphol to fly to my holidays. Infortunately the staff were disinformative, missleading and unfriendly. First time I was using train and I got 30 min delay and than the train was canceled due to engineering works so we had to take alternative longer train to amsterdam. I was extremely late for my plain, so am extremely unhappy. They were holding me instead letting me get a taxi. Deffinitly I want my money back for a train ticket. Never again.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by NS Assistance to my daughter, a wheelchair user, at Rotterdam Central station on 30th March 2025. Despite having a pre-booked assistance reservation, she was repeatedly denied help accessing the train at Rotterdam station. This resulted in her being physically lifted onto the train by fellow passengers, posing a significant safety risk. I have demanded a thorough investigation and appropriate action regarding this unacceptable treatment.

A good place to get your bike stolen despite being locked up and this the freaking Netherlands where things like this shouldn't happen to anyone.

Every information is perfectly set on the screen. There is also a huge variety of food to choose from and even clothing and luggages.

A very beautiful trainstation, clearly structured, well arranged, good toilets

We visited for my husband’s birthday with a reservation for four, which included a welcome glass of champagne. The booking process was very smooth—quick replies and easy confirmation, which gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately, the experience at the restaurant itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. When we arrived, the staff member who welcomed us didn’t seem to check the reservation properly, so we were seated without being offered the welcome champagne. While waiting, two different staff members came to ask for drink orders, creating confusion. I eventually spoke with a more experienced team member who acknowledged the communication error and handled it professionally. Our assigned waiter after that point was excellent—friendly, attentive, and communicative. The gentleman who seemed to be supervising also handled the situation well and showed genuine care. The food, however, was a letdown. My tuna steak came too raw, despite requesting it medium, and my daughter didn’t finish her chicken. While the lentils and starters were enjoyable, the main courses didn’t stand out. On top of that, the temperature inside was uncomfortably warm, which added to our decision to skip dessert and leave earlier than planned. We had requested a candle in advance to celebrate the occasion, and while we didn’t stay for dessert, the team kindly brought it out anyway—a thoughtful gesture we appreciated. Overall, while the restaurant positions itself as a laid-back brasserie, I believe this iconic location deserves consistently high-quality service and well-prepared, simple dishes that leave guests saying, “We have to come back.”

Let’s start with the negative part: at check-in there were 2 young ladies with a bit of an attitude. Not super unfriendly but bitchy in the way of giving information and answering our questions. Something you should not expect in an hotel like this. The second was that when we received a phone call if we would like to upgrade with extra payment, the asked for the purpose of our stay, which was are honeymoon. It was noticed but they have nothing done with that. Not that they have too, but giving your costumers a little bit extra attention, would be appreciated. Rooms are nice, bed pillows are horrible for me. Everything is clean except for the texture like feeling on the front of the toilet. Porcelain should be smooth not rough. View is amazing if you book for the river Maas view. The historical feeling in this building is pleasant. Breakfast is expensive but good, don’t forget to ask for an omelette in the kitchen. It was the best one I ever ate. Parking is expensive with 35 euros per day. So all good but enough points for improvement.

This was a most disappointing experience after we had been looking forward to staying at Hotel New York for a number of years. The hotel feels as if it has got a crisis of identity and whilst it is a very interesting historic building, I do not feel that it has been well developed into a 4 star hotel. The prime focus of the hotel appears to be the bar/restaurant which is in the prime position at the front of the hotel and is clearly very busy. This makes it very noisy and not a good place for a relaxing birthday dinner. You approach the hotel from the rear and the entrance is tucked away in a corner. It is not well signposted, has weeds growing around rht paving and has a number of steps up to the reception making it very difficult for anyone with impaired mobility. I could not find any mention of this problem on the hotel web site and it was never mentioned when I asked about access before I booked. There was no porter service and only one luggage trolly which was of limited use because of the number of stairs. Many rooms are only accessible by stairs and there were 2 steps in our room. There is no parking at the hotel but there is an excellent private parking garage adjacent to it but this needs to be booked and cost us 54 Euro for 2 days. The room was not to 4 star standards and lacked a number of things like fridge, USB charging points and easily accessible power sockets. The bed side light switches were also a long stretch from the bed. The bathroom had been modernised and was very good, it is a shame that the room had also not been given a suitable makeover. Food in the restaurant at dinner was very good but the overall dining experience was spoilt by the noise levels and hussle and bussle, it was more like a city centre bar than a 4 star restaurant. The breakfast buffet was nothing special and the staff at breakfast clearly did not want to be there. We ended up cutting short our stay because the difficulty of accessing the hotel was causing my Wife distress as she has impaired mobility. The hotel has a fabulous location and a great history but I do not feel that it has been developed very well. The developers should take a look at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool to see what a great job can be done of developing such an old historic building. If we had not been to the Delft WestCord hotel and had an excellent stay, I would be avoiding this company in future.

Great hotel; slightly dated but that’s part of the charm. Amazing building. Good breakfast. Only reason it isn’t a 5 stars from me is because we tried to have a drink in the bar (not the exclusive, need to book downstairs one just the normal main bar) but there was a huge queue (despite several empty tables) and we were told that despite being hotel guests we had to wait alongside the non guests. Wouldn’t expect to have to do that. Otherwise great.

Hotel New York offers stylish design and spacious rooms, each decorated with carefully chosen, original pieces that give the place a unique charm. My room view was very lovely, looking to Erasmus bridge. I stayed in April when the weather was wet and cold, and while the atmosphere was wonderful, the room heating was unfortunately not sufficient, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. Keep in mind to bring warm clothes to wear in the room :)

If you are in Rotterdam and taking a Holland America cruise, you should 100% book at this hotel for a stay before your cruise. The hotel is really cool. Historic but new feeling. They have done a wonderful job turning this "office building" into a collection of great rooms with great views. We arrived the day before our cruise and checked-in easily. Walked down to the Foodhallen and had a relaxed meal and some drinks. The morning of our cruise, we enjoyed a great breakfast at the hotel and then simply walked 2 minutes down to the ship. CRAZY EASY!!! Love this hotel!!

Disappointing experience from the start. There was no smile, no sense of welcome at the entrance. While we were waiting, the staff member who asked about reservations didn’t even look at us, instead speaking past us to people behind. A simple acknowledgment of the first couple in line would have been the respectful approach. Another colleague later handled things more appropriately, but by then the poor first impression was set. The bar wasn’t crowded, yet we were left waiting unnecessarily, only to be told in the end to “just choose a place at the bar.” If that was the plan all along, there was no need to waste our time. The bartender was the one positive note—friendly and attentive—but overall the service at the entrance left a very negative impression. When staff give the impression they don’t want to be there, it makes guests feel unwelcome. Not worth the hype. Won’t be returning.

My buddy told me about this cool landmark, I took a train from Amsterdam to get there. It was late when I arrived. I didn’t get to view inside the architecture, even though the surface was yellow, you could still clearly see that it was being built for decades. If you’re in the area, you should totally drop by. I solely walked around these innovative houses, had a meal and headed back.

The Cube Houses are truly one of the most unique architectural sights I’ve ever visited. Stunning architecture and a great place to play with your camera. New interesting perspectives and ankles every view steps and nice peaceful green yards. Pls keep in mind that ppl are actually living here so be respectful. No need to go inside the cubes (but if you can stay a night in the hostel and with some lucky you get a view over the rooftop)

A definite must visit if coming to Rotterdam. The concept of people living in these unique structures is crazy and it is not too expensive to visit. Note that stairs are narrow so you need to be able to navigate these.

For just 3€ you can tour one of these iconic architectural wonders. It’s very interesting to see how the rooms are set up with the unusual angles, but the stairs are narrow and steep if you have a hard time with stairs. Highly recommend if you love architecture.

I had a couple of hours layover in Rotterdam so went to check out the cube houses. They are truly uniquebabd it was interesting to see how the architect has integrated storage. Population density in the Netherlands is a constant discussion but once you visit this you realize why they never made any more. Beautiful from the outside, interesting conceptually but definitely ultimate a case of form over function.

The museum is the oldest of its kind in the Netherlands and one of the most important maritime museums in Europe. Founded in 1874 on the initiative of Admiral Lodewijk Pincoffs, it explores navigation, shipbuilding, trade, port history, and life at sea. The museum is especially family-friendly, with many interactive exhibitions. Outside, the harbour in Leuvehaven lets visitors step aboard historic vessels, cranes, and even a lighthouse, bringing Rotterdam’s seafaring past vividly to life.

Nice place for both parents & kids. Museum is interesting for adult, at the same time PLONS zone is very attractive to my kids. They spent several hours there while parents could have a cup of coffee in this place. Besides, they can enjoy small boat riding just in front of the museum.

It was ok. I feel like more old ships history and art can be placed there. The most fun part fpr me was the games but there was too many kids there and other people so it was impossible to play more than 2 games.

Great for kids 6 yr plus according to me, so they read and understand what they are seeing, connectivity is great near tram station. Outside boats dont need tickets. Pl book kids section in advance as its crowd controlled which is good ( never overcrowded) we spent 3-4 hours including a kids boat ride outside, where they give 3 euro discount if you have just been to the museum. Off shore experience is great, with interactive videos n games and pick a lanyard. Kids section RFID bands are kept free inside. Feel free to pick one and play the games, videos. There are snacks up on the top deck.

Very nice museum, covers both the nautical history and the operations of the port. Watching a blacksmith at work is very impressive, and you might even end up with a souvenir!

Great museum, especially the oil rig exhibition. Everything is in English, so perfect for tourists and appropriate for all ages, including little ones. There are picnic tables indoors to bring your own food. Museum is free entry if you purchase the Museum Card in advance.

I enjoyed it here. The building itself looks a little tired and dated, but there are lots of detailed models, mostly of places around Rotterdam. They also have a new section downstairs, with models of places in the UK. It was a work in progress (in February 2025) but it's good to see that they are still adding new attractions. There is a restaurant (although I didn't eat there), as well as a gift shop, which sells a wide range of products, such as models, trains etc. Overall, a good experience and worth visiting if you're in Rotterdam.

The miniatures were cool to look at. We had fun spotting the Pokémons and interacting with the displays via the buttons you can press to make things move. However, the place needs a bit of updating, like the paint on the walls, the ceilings, and the floor. They're still building the rest of the UK miniatures. The staff in the reception was nice and efficient, but not very friendly or talkative, but it's fine. We went on a hot weekend and the place inside felt cool so that's nice! It was also not too crowded.

Lovely view of the entire city in one special place … loved how the little miniatures mimic real life movements. Really appreciate the time and effort it must take to make as well as keep these miniatures alive.

Really great miniature museum showcasing what feels really authentic Netherlands landscapes and some of the main Rotterdam landmarks. It's amazingly crafted, and you can get a sneak peek of the work being done behind the scene with view of the workshop and the train system control station. Pretty cool! There's also a UK exhibition on in the basement with great castles and mountain towns. The whole place feels really cozy and family friendly, there's also a small gift-shop and restaurant. The person at the front desk was really nice and welcoming, giving some explanation on where to go and what to see. If you like miniatures, don't miss out!

The attention to detail in these models is incredible. I enjoyed it as a tourist, so I could imagine how much more enjoyable it would’ve been had I had more context and knowledge of the city. Money & time well spent!

The interior of the building felt a bit old and the lady in the front just needed to scan my ticket to let me in but took quite a while before she actually got me in because she was busy with a phone call (someone seemed to be making an appointment for a big group) but I waited probably 10 to 15 minutes before being helped. I think that is room for improvement but it was just one employee. The actual displays themselves are something to behold, it really brought back my inner child and there are plenty of interactive displays. In addition to all of this, they have the lights go out periodically to simulate night and day. I highly recommend this even though I had a bit of an inconvenience in the beginning.

Walked thru as a tourist. Wish I could have seen the wheel chair ramp in action. Saw a newly married couple getting their photos taken. The courtyard garden didn't really impress me.

The first stop on our quick walking tour of the 'old town?' part of Rotterdam was the Stadhuis. What a grand old building.

As a tourist, this is one of the most spectacular, pieces of period architecture that was spared by WW2 in Rotterdam. It’s elaborate, classy and gorgeous. You can roam around at your own accord and try to go in the early evening so you can wonder at the spectacular garden when it’s illuminated

Best sushi in town! Love love love the fresh wasabi, the freshness of the fish/meat and the presentation. Unfortunately, the hot main course is very disappointing. It is a stark contrast to the sushi arrangement. We felt like we were in a cheap pub somewhere in the rural England. The steak was served with toasted bread while our risotto and fish was served with risotto placed in a separate bowl and the fish was arranged weirdly. It is definitely not at the standard and quality we expect from this type of restaurant. Please do come here for sushi and skip the main course all together.

Came here for an afternoon drink which turned into an evening of drinks and nibbles. The place is very well decorated with very modern and comfortable seating areas. The service is very tentative and fast. The drinks menu is extensive with a big selection of wines and other drinks. The food selection is good for either smaller nibbles or larger meals. Overall a very nice spot to come to for a drink, food or both! Definitely recommend. Side note: I used to come to this place before when it was called B.E.D many years ago and the playlist that is on when there isn’t any live music is pretty much the same from those years (2010s). So if you want some nostalgia in an updated venue, definitely worth a visit.

We popped in for a few afternoon drinks, we sat at an outside table, there were 5 servers at the door too busy chatting to each-other to notice us, we raised our hands 5 times to get their attention! Our first drink finally arrived and we stayed for a few drinks, as we enjoyed watching the world go by. I don’t think we will return! Great beer, not so great staff!!

My food was quite OK although my colleague complained that his portion was too small relative to the price.

It was really awesome. Everybody of the staff was beyond nice, the sushi was top notch. Especially the sushi tacos were really tasty, the dressing was perfect. The lava cake was also delightful. The cherry on the top was the p***star martini, taste and texture were really absolutely amazing. But still, best was that everybody were so super nice, made the whole evening really great.

Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here. We were served by a lovely waiter who paid a lot of attention to our needs, recommended us lovely food and we were very happy with the food and the service! Sushi was amazing but the lava cake stole the show!!!!!

A lovely restaurant in the centre of Rotterdam with varied and interesting menu. The fact that it was packed at lunch indicates how popular this place is. The decor is beautiful, the food well presented and very tasty, and in spite of the crowd, the service was fast and friendly and very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was really tasty—we tried a variety of tapas, and each dish was full of flavor and well-prepared. The drinks were also very good; I had a fresh lemonade that was especially refreshing. However, the bathroom was a different story. It wasn’t very clean and had a rather strange setup—I’ve honestly never seen a bathroom quite like it before. It felt a bit out of place compared to the quality of the food and drinks. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable.

Great ambiance inside the restaurant. Especially liked the soft music and the flowers coming down from the ceiling. The food was exceptional. Loved the black aioli sauce that comes with the calamari. The staff is also very friendly and explain each dish that comes to the table. Definitely worth the slightly higher pricing.

The place has apparently a bright vibe in the evenings. However we went for lunch on a drizzling afternoon. The staff was very nice. A wide variety of cocktails and mocktails to choose from. However, not many choices for food but the taste was not bad.

Stopped in for lunch as we were wandering through the neighborhood and liked the variety of offerings they had on the menu. Not disappointed at all! Although not a warm day we sat outside. They provided blankets and had outdoor space heaters working which helped. The service was great. We had the one male on duty and he was joking with us and we all had a great time. Drinks came out fast. Food not so quickly. But when it did arrive we all thought it was tasty. Our only mild disappointment was the Dirty Fries which were not as interesting as the menu's description.

Terrible experience – not recommended This place was a big disappointment. The drinks and food were overpriced and honestly not good at all. On top of that, they added extra items to the bill without warning or explanation, which felt dishonest. Staff didn’t bother to inform us about charges in advance. Also, in spite of a bill of 360€, acces to toilets must be paid. What a nice way to treat your customers. Overall, a very poor experience – I wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone.

Loved the vibe. Sat outside under the covers and it absolutely chucked it down bit was dry and warm. Decent beers and the mixed grill was great although it took quite a while to come out I had to eat up quick because had to get train back to airport.

Came here around 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Quite busy inside but the upstairs area was completely open. We just came here for drinks. Started off with a round of beers and then a round of shots. Then finished off with beers at the end. Nice system where you can order on your phone. The service was great as well, it is pretty loud inside though.

Great place to have a drink (or a few), and the food is tasty, too. Went there with a friend, we had a couple of beers on their terrace in the sun, and then moved inside for burgers. I had the veggie Turbo Cheeseburger, can definitely recommend trying it! Staff is friendly, attentive and helpful, all in all we had a great evening!

We were just passing by and found this nice Coffee, I got myself some cheap pancakes and a latte macchiato. I could order from the table using a QR-Code and got the food delivered to our table swiftly after. Nice places to sit and some bar / lounge music playing in the background. Nice external area with quite a good selection of beers and nice snacks - the fries with meat ragu is excellent. The service is OK and when they manage to get to your table, they are usually friendly.

Can’t even heat up soup. After the first attempt soup was found to be cold it then took 15 minutes to come back with something that (drum roll) was indeed some warmed up tomato soup. Other food was bang average. Had Korean chicken loaded fries and a beef burger.

A narrow bar which have very clean interior and serves a good amount of drinks and food. They have good choices to make with clear descriptions. The hosts are very friendly and very quick with their service. They have a unique sip &taste menu where they combine beers of different types with spirits. We had IPA with aged tequila and sour with aged rum. It's such an interesting experience and would recommend to give it a try.

Very poor service. Friday night, not super busy, we ordered 3 beers in the terrace, one nachos and bitter ballen. They completly forgot our order and it took like 50min to get just few nachos for 15€..

Service was great and the selection of beer was one of the best in Rotterdam. For a beer place (it's in their name) they served the beers in the wrong glasses though. And the food was lacking much taste. I had the burger (looked like one for McDonald's) and my wife had the Empanadas. Great atmosphere on the street Cafe. Probably will go back just for drinks.

For me, Rotterdam is such an inspiring city. You have to look really hard to find a place that doens't look awesome. After a long day wonder and wandering through the streets, we felt a bit thirsty. That's why we decided to have another drink over here. Liked the interior a lot! Friendly staff as well.

Horrible experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’m so embarrassed that I recommended this place to my friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was expensive, disappointing, we have got a variation of the same thing/taste. The service was mediocre and worst of all, they charged us twice. A friend of us left earlier than the rest, she paid the bill and later on, when we were leaving they charged us again the same amount. We only realized later that we paid 600 euro for tasteless food, mediocre service and overrated dessert. I do NOT recommend.

My girlfriend and I asked for a romantic spot in the restaurant. We were not disappointed as the restaurant has a very unique interior and atmosphere. The food was delicious, and we even got some from the house! Don't expect a cheap bite, instead expect a comfortable full belly.

The quality of food was not the best and the price was high, portions was small compare to the price And they trouw the food on my coat, on side of my coat was full of sauce and they offer me to give me 20 euro for laundry or when I give my coat to laundry I send a receipt to them ,…. The name of the manager is Sylvia and after 3times sending email to her she responds and she said I need to bring the original receipt to her and she will not pay me like this by email , I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with them because of very bad customer service I will never go again

The drinks were delicious, but unfortunately we waited on our food/ drinks for almost 2 hours long. Regardless of our reservations. Large groups came in after and got served before us. The food wasn’t very warm, which gave the impression that it was there for a while. We were told the printer had malfunctioned, but that doesn’t explain how groups that came in hours after us got served in such short waiting time.

We waited 1 hour and more to have the food. A bit expensive for what it is, but it was good with lots of flavours. The drinks are also nice. Great music, perhaps too loud for the ones eating. It is best to get drinks and some bites instead.

The expectations were really high but it was not that good. The food was not good and the service was nice but not good. It was really chaotic on the table and we missed plates and glasses. We were with 5 and they gave us everythint for 4 people. The table was really messy with dirty plates and rice on the taboe and we already got the dessert. It’s really overprices because we payed €100 p.p. but all it was was fried food which really costs nothing. In the end we complaind about it but they didnt do anything besides defending theirselves. Will never come back to this place!!

Not the best bar for an evening, after this experience. First, we were stressed by the waitress that we should hurry to make up our decision about what we drink, as the bar closes in an hour? Then we had to wait 30 minutes for our 5 cocktails, although there were almost no people in the bar. The waitress was also not very friendly with us overall. Not recommended!

A bar specialized in rum with amazing staff, great music, and insanely good, well-crafted drinks. We were thrilled and would come back anytime. We had a fantastic evening. A real hidden gem.

We hosted a party for 40-50 people in the basement. The staff helped us set-up our DJ sets and think along with the right lighting. The upper part also seemed cozy. Would definitely come back here!

Way more than a museum. Please see the pics and videos. You might not be lucky enough to catch the open day, but it is worth paying €20! It is mentioned that there are more than 100K items. Visitors of all ages can easily find something of their interest from the drawing room to the movie saloon, the terrace view of the city, the amazing cafeteria and the store of course

The Depot is an architectural masterpiece. A must see for anyone visiting Rotterdam. The space is absolutely stunning. The collection on display is constantly updated, so even if you have visited before, it’s worth revisiting time and time again.

The depot is the world’s first publicly accessible art storage facility, a cultural icon where visitors can explore behind the scenes of a vast collection. Opened in 2021 and designed by Dutch architecture firm MVRDV, it was created while the main Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum undergoes renovation, housing more than 150,000 works. Its mirrored, bowl-shaped building has become a Rotterdam landmark, topped with a rooftop garden offering panoramic city views. By opening what is traditionally a closed space, the depot has introduced an innovative model that has inspired museums worldwide.

At the time I couldn't enter, it was closed I believe but according to other's people's reviews, I would love it inside. Next time 🫶🏻 amazing and uniqie from outside with a nice pond and garden around. Worth the visit, even if you can't enter, you have a park in front where you can relax and enjoy the view.

The Depot is an interesting look at some of the behind the scenes of museums. It is not a full museum (the museum is currentlyclosed), rather its that some pieces are on display while some storage rooms let you see how everything is stored (in their boxes/crates) and some areas allow looks into conservation and restoration.

Weird exhibit, as you can only experience the rooms for 10 minutes, which is not enough. So not great as a gallery, but the view and rooftop restaurant is fantastic, so ot makes up for not fully being emersed in art.

To top it off, the rooftop garden terrace offers breathtaking 360-degree views of Rotterdam, complete with a stylish café that invites you to linger. With its visually striking and utterly unique design, the building sparks curiosity—even if you’re not an architect or art enthusiast. While the entry fee isn’t cheap, it’s well worth the experience. Every detail, down to the beautifully transparent lockers, has been thoughtfully designed. Surprisingly, the art itself almost feels secondary—though the collection includes stunning works by Picasso, Munch, Cézanne, Rembrandt, Bruegel, Gauguin, Monet, and numerous modern sculptures and contemporary pieces. The display method is equally impressive, borrowing inspiration from São Paulo’s MASP, with paintings elegantly suspended on crystal easels. This is an absolute must-visit in Rotterdam.

Easy to access whether arriving by bus, taxi, Uber, tram, train. Straight forward entrance and short walk to begin your cruise. Comfortable and clean waiting area.

This cruise terminal was the best I've ever been to. The embarkation and debarkation were absolutely wonderful experiences. Everything went super smoothly. I would happily cruise out of this port again in the future. I love that it's a small port and seems to only have 1 ship at a time. That makes all the difference in the world! We saw this from near the Erasmusbrug. I wanted to see if I could figure out where it was in case we needed to come the next day to board our ship (in case of issues with the shuttle transfer). I liked the futuristic oval shape on top of the building and the unusual design this sort of created.

Line outside was a bit confusing at first but the lines kept moving steadily. Once we entered the building,it was very organized and things went smoothly. We got to our gangway fairly quickly. Yes, all fine

Easy cruise terminal, warning! Don’t get taxis outside, they will rip you off, get uber, it is €12 max into town

I got kicked out of the bar because I accidentally spilled my own beer. I tried to explain it was a mistake, but the staff didn’t listen. I even wrote a complaint afterwards and never received an apology. It really ruined what had been a great night. Disappointing experience, it feels like the staff don’t care much about their visitors. If I had actually been drunk, this probably wouldn’t have bothered me so much.

Nice little Irish pub. Nice staff! We were there last Friday and we were the first to try there new fish and chips menu item. It was delicious and a nice size portion for the price. Very very happy with our lunch there!

Stopped into Paddy Murphys for an afternoon drink. Atmosphere was so nice and relaxed, Niamh an irish girl from cork served us, she was so lovely and welcoming. Definitely coming back to taste the night life here

Irish bar that promotes itself as a Sports bar. Enter at 4pm and there’s no issue wearing Arsenal or England shirts. Yet you come in after a Feyenoord game (a home team for that matter) and you’re are told to take off any shirt or scarf associated. A place to avoid and not worth your time. It’s not a sports bar, regardless of what they protest.

Stopped off here in the afternoon before a Feyenoord match. Great atmosphere and met some fans also going to the game who were happy to tell us all about the club. Lots of big screens with different games on. Nice spot
