Restaurant

Neighbourhood Leeds is a vibrant spot offering global cuisine in a lively setting. The restaurant features art-covered walls, vanity lighting, and lime green booths, creating an ultra-extra decor with New York glitz. The brunch menu includes traditional dishes like Eggs Florentine and Avo & Toast, as well as Asian-influenced options such as sushi and Poke bowls.
We visited Neighbourhood for brunch and it was fantastic, considering it was a Saturday and was quite busy the service was really good, we were looked after by a lady called Beth who was amazing, very attentive, kept the drinks flowing despite having other tables to look after. Food was nice, we didn’t wait long for that either. The music was good though it was a touch too loud we had to shout across the table to have a conversation that’s an age thing though the young ones were loving it 🤣 will definitely be back.
TheMadilou — Google review
I have visited The neighbourhood for my festive celebration for work and I must say that I am pretty impressed. The music is just right, not too loud, not too loud; enough for you to get into the mood and enjoy. My starter was a smoked salmon with dill sauce. The salmon was perfect with the sauce as I am not a fan of dill, the meal struck a perfect balance that was very delicious. To only criticism is that the portion is a bit small but it is only a starter. For my main i have ordered a festive beef burger. The burger looked fine but the bun was cold to touch and the beef and camembert hot, which caused a weird sensation with my first bite. To be honest I had better burger but this one was very good maybe a bit bland but I did enjoy it and finish. The fries were also a bit mid as they were pretty small and thin. However, I did engage their Brussel sprouts as they had a zesty undertone taste to them that I enjoyed very much. And the steak looked fabulous as well. Overall, I would recommend going here for a nice group dinner to have some fun but also to enjoy some food. I would recommend going for the steak as it comes with roasted potatoes and vegetables. The service was impeccable. 10/10
Quynh V — Google review
The staff were good however it was very busy and we have had quicker service elsewhere with more drinks in the same time frame, however I understand it was a Saturday night. The music was way too loud so us and our server couldn’t hear each other AT ALL. In the middle of the brunch my partner fell unwell and had to run to the bathroom, and I felt ill and couldn’t drink anything after we had left here including our last few drinks. I have been before and it was so good, and I’m hoping this was just a one off, but I unfortunately will not be returning.
Megan X — Google review
We booked the bottomless brunch for my hen do and we just had the best time. The service was so good, the staff were attentive and our glasses were kept full, everyone commented on the food which was better than any of us expected. The saxophonist was great and had us up dancing. Lots of fun for all of us, ages ranging from early 20’s to mid 60’s!
Rebecca B — Google review
Such good service. Late due to our train being delayed but they staff were so accommodating. Our server Amy was so quick to get our drinks and food sorted and constantly coming back to check in for our next drink order. 100% recommend!
Maisie W — Google review
We booked Neighbourhood for a Hen Do of 9 for the bottomless brunch. The service was outstanding, particularly from our waitress Tillie(?). The drinks flowed perfectly and the food we had was delicious. We were able to use the outdoor space to have a dance in the sunshine after, where a saxophonist joined to add even more flavour to the amazing vibe. I would absolutely recommend this place for a lively celebration. Thank you for a memorable experience to team Neighbourhood! ❤️
Stacey — Google review
Really poor experience going for their bottomless brunch. Out sever was excellent but she was very busy. The website advertised live entertainment but that was not to be seen, the food we ordered wasn’t very good and the atmosphere was similar to a nightclub which isn’t what you’d want for a meal. The food itself was small for portion and we couldn’t sit for the 90 minutes offered for a bottomless brunch. For the price paid it was a disappointing experience.
Ethan F — Google review
Would absolutely recommend the bottomless Sunday roast here, the food was delicious and we got plenty of drinks within our time. It was quite quiet but still had a nice atmosphere and our wonder Finn was absolutely fabulous and so friendly and easy to chat with, we’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful brunch, food was really nice and drinks were amazing. Our server Ella, was really nice, polite and attentive. 5 stars well earned
Lewis B — Google review
Lovely decor, we didn't book but it was very quiet when we arrived 1.30pm. Only two other tables occupied. No one came to great us or offered us a table, so we just seated ourselves. It was then a good 10 minutes until we were approached and our drink and food order were taken. A further 10 minutes for a coke to arrive, followed by a further long wait and then us to prompt for our water to be brought to us . We requested a highchair and one was provided, but unfortunately, it only had one of its straps which meant one of the parents had to sit with a hand on the chair to stop the baby sliping through. Starters came. They were piping hot and very, very tasty. Further long wait, to which we were starting to panic slightly as we had a train to catch but then the mains arrived. Well worth the wait as they were lovely. We had a couple of the lite bite steaks, great value and the steaks were cooked to perfection, well seasoned. The guy we spoke to as leaving was very friendly and lovely to talk to but unfortunately, the service was very poor considering how quiet it was. A shame because the food was very good.
Karen P — Google review
Appalling is the best I can say ! Light bulbs not working a filthy toilet with chewing gum stuck to the tiles the upholstered seating was badly stained on more than one of the chairs and sofas. filthy carpets … we were sat down given menus and on ordering not seating were informed that only one of the steaks of the four were available (we wanted three T bones) the pate was off the menu completely (old menu) two of us wanted to order that … plaster on the ceiling was cracked and missing, in fact the whole place is worn and in places dirty … we paid for drinks only half drunk and left in disgust Marstons should be ashamed avoid if possible … oh and 20 minute wait to order drinks and 15 for them to arrive.
David — Google review
Unfortunately, the bartender’s service was subpar and left a negative impression. I had a very disappointing experience with one of your bartenders during my visit for conference in your hotel. They were rude and made insulting remarks in front of other guests, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. This kind of behavior is not what I expect from a professional in hospitality, and it affected the overall atmosphere of the night. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I believe respectful service should be a basic standard for any establishment.

Came for a hen party on Saturday 14th June we had bottomless brunch and I have to say it was amazing, food was great and cocktails were lovely, I don’t remember the name of the lady that served us but she did an amazing job of looking after us and we will definitely visit again

Had my sisters wedding reception in the boardroom at lost and found on Albion place. Was an excellent day, felt very relaxed and in good hands with the team. The wedding party thoroughly enjoyed themselves and thought the room we had was lovely. Great service, tasty food (especially the bruschetta) great drinks. Planning the event was easy and communication was consistent and always had quick responses. They really helped make my sisters wedding reception perfect and stress free! Would definitely recommend for small/intimate wedding receptions.

Our Waiter Ethan was brilliant. Good fun polite and entertaining. He looked after us really well. The food was delicious , i wasn’t expecting such a high standard from a chain restaurant. Will definitely recommend Leeds Albion street to friends. Very good value.

Had a fabulous bottomless brunch here with my wife for date day. The food was amazing, great atmosphere and great drinks. But the star of the show was Emma. She is by far the best server we’ve ever had on a bottomless brunch by far. She’s bubbly, friendly and really attentive. She took time to discuss my wife’s dietary requirements and and was generally interested in us as customers. She’s kind, she’s funny, she’s caring. She’s an absolute treasure to any establishment lucky enough to employ her. Thanks for making our date day Emma!

First time visit after hearing great things and we weren’t disappointed. Fantastic food with great portion sizes for a very reasonable cost. All served quickly and efficiently with a smile! Give it a whirl, you’ll be well chuffed.
Michael W — Google review
Was our first time doing a brunch here after a recommendation. The food was lovely however I have a tomato allergy and despite mentioning no tomato on my order a slice ended up in my Gyros. Apart from this the food was lovely and would recommend. Emma however was the star of the brunch. At no point were we left unattended and she could not have apologised enough for the fault of the chef. She always had a smile on her face and nothing was too much trouble. Drinks service was super quick and efficient, the shot deal is top tier and I am looking forward to my next visit
Olivia H — Google review
Emma was unreal. We never went thirsty and she was so attentive. She chatted like we were old friends and never seemed to tire. What an excellent rep for customer service. AND she said loves her job, this always goes far. Can't speak highly enough. We will be back!

Went to Tavassolis for a brunch and it was great! Best Brunch ive done in Leeds, really good value for money. Atmosphere was good, didnt have to wait for drinks, they came and took our order regularly and the food was amazing! Shout out to our server Emma too - she was really friendly, attentive and made sure we were happy with the drinks/food for the full 2 hours we were there. Would 100% recommend the brunch but also recommend just going for a meal as it really was good!

Had a lovely day for mother day brunch. Service was quick. Amelia & Anne worked hard ensuring we were not without a drink. 1st time my son had brunched and I’m glad it was here as it was the best one I have had by far

We had bottomless brunch here on 6th April 25. Sorry it's taken me so long but just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had. Great food and great service. There were 8 of us, the food and service were amazing, thank you Anne. Would definitely recommend.

Amelia was amazing, came to the table and asked us if we wanted drinks before we asked! Amelia needs a pay rise, as bottomless brunches go dirty martini does not expect you to finish one drink before starting another, the food came quickly and was really nice.

Sky Lounge is a luxurious rooftop bar and lounge located on the 13th floor of the Doubletree by Hilton Leeds, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and Yorkshire. The sleek interior features floor-to-ceiling windows, while an outdoor terrace provides a breezy atmosphere. Guests can indulge in decadent afternoon tea, bottomless weekend brunch, or crafted signature cocktails from day to night.
We visited the Sky Lounge to catch the sunset, but the clouds had other plans. The views from the lounge did not disappoint, absolutely breathtaking. Both the views and atmosphere were incredible, making up for the missed sunset. The indoor area was too crowded, but given that it was a Saturday evening, that was to be expected.
Savvy — Google review
The moment I stepped into Sky Lounge, I fell in love with the vibe of the place. Lovely atmosphere! Being on the 13th floor, it has got great views of the Leeds city. There’s plenty of outdoor seating on the terrace along with ample indoor seats. The soft music playing in the background blended perfectly with the cheers and laughter of the guests. Speaking of the tea itself, we opted for cappuccino and were served a great assortment of finger sandwiches(which was very fresh), lovely scones and a beautifully curated selection of desserts. Had an awesome experience. Highly recommended!
Aditi D — Google review
Had afternoon tea at Sky Lounge on July 17, 2025. The food and cocktail were okay, and the view was decent. Service was super friendly and attentive, but overall it wasn’t the best afternoon tea I’ve had. I enjoyed it, but not enough to come back or recommend it. I’d probably try somewhere else next time.
Angela M — Google review
Sunday afternoon tea at Sky Lounge was a lovely experience with my OH, which we'd booked through buyagift. Booking was easy by phone and we were sent a text reminder the day before to confirm our booking. Had a beautiful window seat and service was friendly and efficient. Our finger sandwiches were excellent and probably the highlight of the afternoon tea. The Mango and passionfruit torte & the White chocolate raspberry delice were sublime. However the Mini chocolate fudge cake and Clementine tartlet were slightly stale and tasted like something from a poor supermarket bakery. The scones also didn't seem fresh and were heavy and brick like, rather than light and fluffy. They were saved by the Bonne Maman strawberry jam and the clotted cream. Great views and a chilled vibe. Would definitely consider coming back. Although as the sweet offerings were a bit of a mixed bag, we both agreed that a savoury only afternoon tea might work better, with a greater selection of delicious sandwiches or other additional savoury items instead.
Graham M — Google review
Located on a high floor, the lounge provides panoramic views of the city, creating the perfect backdrop for a drink or casual meal. The ambiance is sophisticated, with comfortable seating and a contemporary design. The cocktail menu is creative, featuring expertly mixed drinks, while the small bites are flavorful and well-presented. Service is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant visit. Whether you're unwinding after a long day or enjoying a special evening out, the Sky Lounge at Hilton DoubleTree is a fantastic choice.
Aly — Google review
Been twice for bottomless brunch and both times has been good Service has varied, the first time I went the service couldn’t be better however the second time the service was much slower. Like most places it depends on the server and the day I had the chicken and waffles dish both times (larger tables have to pre-order well in advance) and it’s ok. The chicken is good but the dish is very dry. It does come with a syrup however nowhere near enough. Portions are small but in a place like this it is expected however you do expect better quality to compensate
Eleanor N — Google review
Highly recommend the brunch. Excellent value for money, top variety of drinks. Jessy our server was outstanding and catered to our every need. Also A blonde tall lad with longer hair curtains ( I didn't catch his name) are a credit to your team. Good atmosphere and tunes also! Keep up the good work and thanks again ☺️

Review: Hilton Sky Lounge - Leeds Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ The Hilton Sky Lounge in Leeds offers a unique and sophisticated setting for afternoon tea, with impressive views of the city skyline. While the atmosphere is undoubtedly charming, the overall experience falls somewhat short of expectations. The afternoon tea includes the traditional scone, which is delicious and served with a generous helping of clotted cream and jam. The sandwiches are also enjoyable, with a decent variety of fillings. However, the standout elements of afternoon tea stop there. Unfortunately, the cakes included in the afternoon tea are rather plain and uninspiring. They lack the creativity and flair that one might expect from a venue of this caliber. As a result, it's not uncommon for guests to leave these sweet treats uneaten. The service at Hilton Sky Lounge is satisfactory, but it doesn't stand out as exceptional. While the staff is polite and attentive, the overall experience lacks the special touch that would make it memorable. In summary, the Hilton Sky Lounge in Leeds offers a pleasant setting for afternoon tea, but the experience is marred by plain cakes and standard service. With a few improvements, this venue has the potential to be a fantastic destination for afternoon tea. For now, it earns a 3-star rating.

Manahatta Greek Street is a vibrant and NYC-inspired restaurant and bar in Leeds, offering American and global comfort fare along with house cocktails. This was a flashy bar for drinking, with mock-up designs that set the vibe for a fun time! The likes of 5th Avenue do this accompanied by bright colours, counter is stylish presented too. Me and my friend appreciated the 2 for 1 cocktails, sitting comfortably at a shiny table!

Really enjoyed all the food and service. We had a very attentive waiter who kept all my friends drinks topped up. The only downside for me was how many people were in there openly vaping. I'm still in early pregnancy but it made me really uncomfortable that there were people in the toilets and also sitting directly in front of the bar vaping.

We were a group of 8 ladies, out celebrating a birthday and had booked a bottomless brunch. We arrived early so had a drink first. £40 for 3 cocktails and a coke! We got settled around a table, for a bouncer to come and ask us to move and the table was pushed back. After our drinks, we were told our tables were ready. Unfortunately we were not happy we had been seated at two separate tables of 4. We had booked a table for 8 so did not expect to be seated separately from our friends. After discussion Aaron managed to fit us around a single table it was a squeeze but a better solution for us. Our waitress came straight over and poured prosseco and then came straight back to take our cocktail orders, then our food order she was brilliant. We had a constant stream of prosseco and cocktails!!!! She was too good 😂, we drank loads, it truly was bottomless,! The food was good we mainly all ordered burgers or chicken salad with a few extra rounds of fries to try to soak up the booze!! The toilets were far away and only 3 women's toilets!!! The toilets completely let the place down!! This venue is really large, 3 toilets were definitely not enough! As the night drew on there was a member of staff making sure there was no queue jumping and she had access to a further 2 more toilets in the staff area that she was guiding women to. The waitress was very good at her job we all had a great time. The place was loud with a DJ playing and people dancing right up to our table it's not the place to go to be able to chat . Aaron the manager came to check how our experience was whilst we were paying the bills, he asked what we were celebrating, a 40th, and then brought out shots for all! Not that we needed more alcohol. We stayed for a while and enjoyed the music before moving on. Would I do a bottomless lunch here again, yes but I would come earlier and be seated upstairs and then come downstairs afterwards to enjoy the party atmosphere.

Delicious food! I came here with a group of my friends and they loved the food. I ordered the Kingston Fried Chicken, it was so delicious. Mac and cheese was great! Although my friend did say it was spicy for her (I thought it wasn’t 😂). Drinks were lovely as per usual, 2 for 1 when we went. Maia was amazing and made the experience superb. I will be visiting again as this is my favourite turtle bay branch!

I’ve always wanted to experience the cuisine and atmosphere of this Restaurant in my City, but never did! I am pleased to say it was worth the wait to experience yours in Leeds. Claire was our server and she was excellent with her customer service and warm smile. Thank you for making our night a memorable one for my family. Mr Manager thank you too for making us felt better about the situation at the door. I’d like to give a huge thank you to Jordan and the team at Turtle Bay for making my mum’s 85th surprise party truly exceptional. Jordan’s warmth, attentiveness and radiant service created the perfect atmosphere for such a special milestone. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was handled with genuine care. The food, the music and the overall vibe were fantastic, and the evening was a complete success. My mum was made to feel like royalty, and our family and friends had a wonderful time celebrating together. Thank you, Jordan, for helping to turn this celebration into a truly unforgettable occasion.

Came here for brunch with a few friends, taking the two-drinks options. While the portion of food (I got the goat curry) was a tad small, it was delicious and together with the drinks I thought was decent value for money. Our waiter, Jordan, was very friendly and attentive - we felt well looked after. Overall a great experience.

Las Iguanas in Leeds is a popular spot offering a fusion of Mexican and Latin American cuisine. The restaurant features a contemporary dining room where guests can enjoy flame-grilled dishes and shared plates. From chipotle beef nachos to brie and mango empanadas, the menu offers an array of tempting small plates. Main courses include enchiladas, burritos, and fajita stacks with chicken or mushroom atop colorful bowls of wraps and toppings.
Our overall experience at the restaurant was great! The 2 different cocktails that we had were fantastic and the food, specifically the tapas were IMMACULATE. Highly recommendable! Would definitely come back and dine in again soon.

I visited Las Iguanas and the food was good, though a couple of dishes arrived a little cold. The chicken is halal. The service was slower than expected, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy. The offer on bottomless tapas and the 2-for-1 drinks weren’t explained clearly, causing some confusion. The food was flavorful, and the churros were good. However, the service was extremely slow. Given the experience, I’d consider trying a different location next time.

Akos the deputy manager was serving our drinks all afternoon and could not fault him with he's mixology talent and well mannered personality, Emma the general manager made sure everything was perfect as it is my wife's birthday and nothing was too much too ask the food was on point we went for the prawn tacos while we waited the xinxim curry is to die for if your looking for good food and great hospitality las Guanas is a go too for me 100% recommended.

Went here for a burrito as i search for Mexican food i was recommended this place. Now for the food id like to stsrt with authenticity, mezican food is hard to get correct as its like the north african food it balances between sweet and spicy at the same time introduce a strong seasoning mix. And unfortunately this joint fails to do so. The tortilla wrap was lazy and was more folded than rolled;toasted to a huge extent it became a crisp and hard. The filling was rice, carne and beans paste, to be honest and fair the carne was spot on along with the salsa and the black beans they tasted very good and tackled all the points of tasting but the rice was bland too bland tobe honest. Was also with crisps and a small portion of sour cream, salsa and guac... It was nice and delicious. Does it pass as a mexican food... Meeeh kind of maybe but too many white people in the kitchen to say it does 😅i mean this in the food way though😅you dont want your green thai curry made in a kitchen full of indians of mexicans. So take this joke with a grain of truth into your eyes😅 But very nice staff beautiful faces and smiles and welcoming; very nice atmosphere and quite (at least it was when i visited.

We did the bottomless brunch I feel like the manager I would guess and waitress jules were so attentive and even tho we were booked brunch till close they never made us feel like we were rushed or anything as most places do, both lovely girls and amazing food too
Abigail R — Google review
We ordered online and got the pork and cheese quesadilla and shrimp tacos, and honestly, I wish we hadn’t bothered. For £9 a portion, what we received was an absolute insult. The quesadilla came visibly burnt, as you can see in the photo, full-on charred on one side, while the rest was undercooked and rubbery. To make it worse, it was half the size of what you’d reasonably expect for a quesadilla. It looked and tasted like it had been reheated multiple times or left out too long before serving. The shrimp tacos were even worse, the shrimp tasted borderline raw, and the sauce had an off, sour aftertaste. Honestly, it felt like a joke. Worst of all, both of us got sick the next day. Do yourself a favour and skip this place entirely. There’s no excuse for serving food like this.

After having our original venue cancelled by The Canal Club in Leeds with only 1 weeks notice before the event, we were left devastated that we had to try and find another venue within a week. We contacted & left messages for as many companies as possible and a very helpful young man from Revolucion De Cuba Leeds assured us he would get a member of staff from the events team to contact me as soon as possible. Julie The manager on duty that day called back immediately offering us some options & we arrived on their doorstep within the hour having just landed an hour earlier from Spain. She was extremely sympathetic, sat us down and offered us drinks whilst we talked through the menu choices and event schedule. Party night 26/7/25 From the moment we walked in It was absolutely amazing from start to finish, the atmosphere was vibrant, stylish, and perfect mix of party energy. The staff were outstanding – professional, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us create a memorable evening. From the planning stage right through to the final dance, they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and stress-free. The space was ideal for a party – with plenty of room to dance, mingle, and enjoy the music with the added bonus of live music from the Havana Sound Machine. The Cuban-inspired vibes, lively playlist and incredible cocktails created such a fun & joyful setting. We also had so many compliments on the food – full of flavour and beautifully presented. The attention to detail really showed. Most importantly, our daughter had the time of her life, and we’ve had endless messages from family & friends saying what a fantastic night it was. Huge thanks to the team at Revolución de Cuba for helping us throw a celebration we’ll never forget and unforgettable memories. It truly exceeded all our expectations The space itself was ideal – beautifully lit, with plenty of room for mingling, dancing, and celebrating. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

The prosecco was flowing and so were the other drinks although we all said that we felt that the drinks were watered down. Food was excellent and very tasty. £41.95 wasn't really a bad price considering whst we had to drink. Staff were lovely and looked after us we. Unfortunately the music left little to be desired. The dance floor was mostly empty and that's a real sign for the dj to change the music. All in all we had a great time.

Attended on March 15th 2025 with my friends to celebrate my birthday with dinner and cocktails. I've been to several All Bar One locations before, this was my first time visiting the one in Leeds. Was surprised it's tiny in comparison to others with only 7-8 tables. Nevertheless, the waitress was lovely and friendly. We were well looked after, a very short wait for our table at the bar. The music was a little too loud to hear anything that anyone was saying but I get it, it's a Saturday night so catering for the crowd. I ordered Surf & Turf which was delicious, we were advised that they only had 2 steaks left when we sat down, which did really surprise me as it was only 18:45. We also had Strawberry Daiquiris and Mojitos. All tasted great. The meal was a little expensive but I did have a voucher for Mitchell & Butler group so not a problem. Overall an enjoyable experience... not sure I'd return to this one for dinner again just because it was tiny and we were sorta packed in like sardines, but I'd happily attend a different All Bar One that's better equipped.

Typical "Asian fusion" that doesn't actually serve any Asian food, unless you count ramen and stuff with Asian words in the name that are unrelated to the words themselves. The atmosphere is cool and relaxing with louder club music played at night, plenty of space to either eat, drink or party. I'd really like to know the story behind all the painted geisha on the walls who are crying blood, though. The food itself is mediocre, hit and miss. The beef dish is very salty and mostly tastes of pepper while the prawn curry is nice. Small for the price but if you're a student you get half price food and 25 off drinks. Wouldn't pay full price.

Good solid venue with delicious food. More a bar that serves good food, rather than a restaurant that serves booze.
David S — Google review
Visited on a very quiet Tuesday evening using the Meerkat 241 deal. Very friendly staff and the food was pretty decent. However, the Thai curry was a little bland and while the beef Teriyaki noodles did taste very nice, I felt they did skimp on the meat a bit. Especially as without the deal, this would have been £14. Not bad with the deal though.
Ross H — Google review
Really disappointing. Been coming here on and off for years and the food tonight was really lacking. Pad thai was more like Pad Pasta, with barely nothing flavour wise resembling an actual Pad Thai. Maybe there was a shortage of ingredients, new chef? Who knows. Dumplings were ok, just soggy and a bit flavourless. Feel sorry for the staff whom the kitchen clearly don’t communicate with, except to tell them after a cover comes in where a certain ingredient isn’t available or missing - like the soap in the toilets. Clearly the focus of Bar Soba now rests solely on their bottomless brunches, where people will be so blasted, they won’t even remember the food anyway, why bother right? Clearly they think that logic can continue all day & night. Used to be half decent and fairly authentic now its devoid of anything than being a bar in sea of other pretentious bars. On a positive, our server was really sound.
Chris L — Google review
The entire experience was uncomfortable. I called a week in advance to book a table, and was told their system was down but I would soon receive an email to confirm. The day before i called to confirm my booking, which did not exist. We arrived on the day and was given a Bottomless Brunch menu, which we had not requested. We had to ask for the main menu, and discovered there was a separate lunch menu, which was not made clear online. There was shards of glass and scraps of food on our table. All of our food was incredibly salty, and 2 of our dishes did not turn up until we finished all of the other food as they had not been added to our bill. There was 8 staff members in for 3 tables, however all of the work was done by the management, which was confusing. There was one staff member who constantly hovered around our table to immediately collect any empty glasses or plates, which was unsettling and we felt we were being rushed. They took empty plates off our table as we were still eating, which was incredible rude. I have been to other Bar Soba locations before and have never had any issues, so we were incredibly disappointed by the entire experience.

Overall a very good experience. I had chicken curry which I saw a few negative reviews about on here; mine included a lot of veg but there was a passable amount of chicken in there too and it was nice tasting. The side of chips were very good too. Mixed meat-based sharing starter was nice and very flavoursome. Niggles were: set menu online was advertised as £27.XX online but was charged £29.XX on the day. We knocked the service charge off the bill to compensate for that price difference. The service charge also wasn’t clearly mentioned on the menu either. It was a nice meal but we wouldn’t rush back as you can get a Chinese takeaway for half the price and I’m not convinced it is worth paying double to sit in a restaurant and then be charged service charge on top. It was pretty quiet in the restaurant on a Friday night, so perhaps others question the value for money too?

Worst meal I’ve had in a very very long time. Sent it back and my second choice was equally bad. Ordered the Singapore Flat Noodles. It contained very large RAW chunks of pepper, white onion and spring onion as seen in the photo. The prep chef has clearly lost the will to live, and then whichever chef blindly tossed whole veg into their wok needs to turn their brain on. The noodles were very very chewy, dry and had no sauce of any kind. There was some very subtle dry flavouring (perhaps white pepper, msg and a bit of wok hei) but overall bland and raw. No staff, including a manager, did a check back to my table in the first 30mins of me receiving my food. At this point I put my hand up like a school kid, showed them the abomination and politely asked to swap it, even for just a half portion or starter. I’ve worked in hospo, I hate doing this. With all faith in noodles gone yet being shepherded towards only rice and noodles by the waitress/manager, I chose the Char Siu Fried Rice. It was equally terrible. The photo shows just SOME of the yet more RAW white onion, so raw it should be served with a side of soil and garnished with a daffodil. Again, no flavour, no sauce; pale and bland. I asked for soy sauce and/or Lao Gan Ma (chinese crispy chilli). Fittingly, they gave me - ok, maybe this is nitpicking - Japanese sushi soy sauce and what tasted like Italian pizza style chilli oil. Alas, the hints of oregano and basil could not save my “chinese” rice. The Char Siu was dry and brown the whole way through so looked and felt like beef - rather than juicy white on the inside with the beautiful red charred coating. To add insult to injury, when I wanted to pay and run for the hills, they tried to sneak on £2 of service charge and charged me a £3.50 add-on for the char siu on my REPLACEMENT dish. Having worked as a private chef and lived in Asia, I was never expecting true authentic cuisine but a £13.50 car crash nonetheless; literally any chinese takeaway would be better.

Service and interior were superb. It was private, cozy and elegant. The waiter did forget a part of our order but made up for it with a free side. Cocktails (esp the kiwi one) was amazing and paired well with a meaty dish. Prawns and taco were unique and tasted great. My steak was not the temperature I had asked for but I still enjoyed the flavours although I did mix the sauce with some mayo which made it even better. Dessert was one of my favourites. The Argentinian trifle was refreshing and crunchy and the pancake was sweet. I was quite impressed and I would visit again.

A nice place if not a little bit dated decor wise … excellent service a nice not too loud atmosphere plenty of staff who weren’t intrusive definitely a good place for a celebration meal … the steaks (gaucho platter £130) were excellent although the chips were disappointing they were a standard offering the chimchurri was superb … it lost out on five stars as the puddings were grim the cookie dough was very poor and the lemon meringue was a disgrace but all in all the meal was good

We came on a Sunday and had the Sunday roast, the beef was absolutely delicious. A little bit expensive but the quality of the meat lived up to the price, and all the trimmings were likewise excellent. Tried the cheesecake for dessert which was also very tasty. Live music playing when we got there was a lovely touch. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, nice atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself to a great meal.

Wonderful experience, a true jewel. Amazing atmosphere, great design, awesome cuisine. Our fillet stake was perfect, highlight of the night for my son, who I treated with a small celebration on his 18th. Useful to mention that he doesn’t like mashed potatoes in general but truly admired the mash served with his stake. The starters were top notch, we shared beef tartar tacos & cheese and truffle croquettes, the latter were especially delicious). Argentine prawn cocktail was pretty memorable too ) The restaurant offers a great wine list split into Argentinian and world sections. We really appreciated some Californian red (Maggio, Zinfandel 2021 was just gorgeous). Very tasty desserts: we shared a chocolate tart which was very smooth and not too sweet, the way I love it. My son was also presented a complementary birthday apple crumble which came as a true surprise - even if you love it and familiar with its taste, this version would bring you some absolutely new impressions ) Many thanks to Eiden for being so nice, professional and of a great service, especially for a perfect stake demonstration to help us make our mind and own choice of apple crumble as a birthday treat ) 10 out of 10, just loved it

**Review of Gaucho Leeds** I recently visited Gaucho Leeds for a 71st birthday celebration, and it was truly a memorable experience. The evening began with a warm greeting as we were seated in the bar area, where we enjoyed complimentary birthday bubbles. This lovely touch set the tone for the night. Our waiter was fantastic, friendly, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His enthusiasm made our dining experience even better. The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. What stood out most was the waiter's ability to cater to our group's specific requests. He expertly crafted drinks on the spot, including some unique options not listed on the menu, which was a hit with one of our more demanding guests who prefers blue drinks. Overall, everything was spot on, making for an amazing birthday meal. Thank you, Gaucho Leeds, for a wonderful celebration!

From the moment we stepped through the doors, I knew this was going to be a special experience. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between upscale and inviting—warm lighting, tasteful décor, and the mouthwatering aroma of steaks in the air. But what truly elevates this restaurant is the staff. Every single person, from the host to the servers and even the kitchen staff you catch glimpses of, exudes genuine warmth and professionalism. Our server, Ramon, was incredibly attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. You could tell the team works with passion and pride, and it made us feel like more than just customers—we felt like welcome guests. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the steak. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Each bite was a reminder of why a great steak is an experience, not just a meal. The sides and sauces were equally impressive—clearly crafted with care and flavor-forward without overshadowing the main event. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply in the mood for an unforgettable dinner, this restaurant is a must-visit. With phenomenal food and a staff that makes you feel like family, it’s easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Had a great experience ar Cuckoo for my friends hen party. We had one the fairground rooms upstairs for cocktail making which was amazing! The whole decor was great and the cocktail class was fun and entertaining. After we then had an area downstairs where we had pizzas and was able to enjoy more cocktails (which we just paid for as we drank). Would definitely recommend. Wanting to return for the brunch!

Nestled in the heart of Leeds, Chaophraya is a luxurious Thai restaurant and lounge bar that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its opulent decor featuring stunning elephant statues and golden Buddha figures, this venue sets the stage for a delightful culinary journey. Whether you're indulging in their royal bottomless brunch or savoring traditional dishes like braised pork belly and tempura prawns, every meal is elevated by creative cocktails such as the Dragon Eye Martini.
First time going here tonight, we had an exceptional time. The meal was outstanding and Cristiano our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Amazing vegan options, we had the Pad Thai with vegan chicken, Green Curry with vegan chicken and coconut rice and for dessert we had vegan ice cream which was all delicious. We can't wait to go back.

I can honestly say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome and cosy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. I tried the sweet and sour and the chicken spring rolls both dishes were packed with authentic taste and just the right balance of spice. You can really tell the chefs put so much care and passion into every plate. The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything spot on: quality food, great service, and a lovely ambience. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend this gem if you love authentic Thai cuisine! Great staff team. Will be back.

Came here as had some vouchers given and thought we’d extend our anniversary! We chose the set menu @ £45pp. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. I have attached the menu we had. The restaurant was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The staff ‘Jo’ I think his name was, was friendly and attentive. Would happily eat here again.

We had a the Royal Bottomless Brunch. The starter was amazing, cooked to perfection served hot. We asked for a break between the main course and this was accommodated. The main course was smaller than expected but welcomed! I was panicking thinking I wouldn't be able to eat my main but it was just right! The cocktails were delicious (apart from the mango fizz!) but that's merely personal choice. My only criticism would be the insence sticks that were lit near our table. We have asthma and it was quite strong for us. However it was in keeping with the restaurant's aesthetic. I would highly recommend and we will return!

Visted Chaophraya On Several Occasions, The Last Time Been A Few Ago. I Must Say It Has Elevated Itself In Terms Of The Taste Of It's Dishes. The Flavours Are Unique & Really Pack That "Wow" Factor, For Sure! Its Always Been Good But On This Occasion The Food Was Exceptional. Service Was As Expected, Great & The Decor As Always Eye Catching. The Ambience & Setting Of The Place Was Pleasant. Prices Are Slightly On The Higher End But Taking Into Account Your Paying For Quality Food, Dining In A Stunning Setting & Vibrant Atmosphere With Outstanding Service, I Think It's Fair To Say It Merits The Prices On The Menu. Service Charge Is Optional. Plenty Vegetarian Options & All Chicken & Duck Dishs Are Halal. Plenty Of Seating Available With The Premises Having 2 Floors Boasting A Stunning Thai Theme & Decor. Overall, Very Happy & Will Continue Been A Regular.

We were really looking forward to our evening at Chaophraya Leeds, but the whole experience was a letdown. The food was good, but everything else fell short. Our starter arrived before our drinks, which shouldn’t happen in a restaurant of this standard. We were seated next to a loud, drunk group that completely ruined the atmosphere, and staff did nothing about it. Service was slow, disorganised, and inattentive. We had to flag someone down just to place our order, and after finishing our mains, our plates were left in front of us for over 30 minutes while staff walked by avoiding eye contact, at that point there was only 4 tables left at the restaurant. We felt completely ignored. When ordering mains, we asked if they had mango sticky rice. We didn’t order it, just enquired. After the long wait for our plates to be cleared, we were no longer interested in dessert. Still, not long after the plates were finally taken — without an apology or any check-in — a dessert just appeared at the table with no explanation. At that point, we were clearly ready to leave, and it only added to the confusion. They removed the service charge, but that felt like the bare minimum. For what we paid, the overall experience was massively overpriced. We left feeling disappointed and frustrated. Definitely will not be returning.

Visited with family for a lunchtime meal and drinks on a Sunday. It was lovely and quiet. A completely different experience to what you would get on a busy evening with party animals 😂. Service was super friendly (I think the bar was being tended by Lilly that day and she was so helpful and cheerful that it helped make the visit all the better). Food arrived quickly and it was really good. All had burgers. Definitely worth a visit for a daytime stop off. My review might be different on an evening but I've been there and done that at Revolution before and never had any complaints. Usually a vibrant atmosphere with good choice of drinks.

I had lunch here and was somewhat disappointed. The food was OK at best but that is fine for a bar (scampi, fries and peas at £12.50). For drinks I had Amstel lager (at £5.75), I wanted Neck Oil IPA but they had sold out. It was very busy for 1pm on a Saturday but tables can be booked in advance. Despite it being busy the service was very good. The toilets are in the basement but there is a disabled on the ground floor. The big downside was the high volume music (low volume when we entered), it made conversation almost impossible. They are obviously trying to attract a younger crowd, I am fine with that. However if you are of a more mature generation this is probably not the place for you.

I would like to thank a member of your staff. We visited Friday 8th August around 19:00. Most of the tables were reserved. My sister in law is in a wheelchair. We were happy to stand with her near one of the side tables for two. One of your staff approached us and said a table for four was available if we would prefer. He then shower us to the table and removed one of the chairs to make space for the wheelchair. We were touched by his attention and thoughtfulness so I wanted to say thank you. Just sorry I didn’t take his name!

Wonderful service from a lovely young lady and nice starters - BUT!!!!! a VERY very poor portion of chicken and chips under the guise of Manhatta Chicken. Not pleased at all. Wouldn't have expected a kid's meal to be served looking like that. At £12.95, it felt like we'd have been better off going to Rajas. We will not be returning to any Manhatta establishment in the future. Very poor.

Went for a bottomless brunch and waited 20 minutes to get a drink to the table. The waitress brought 3 drinks which weren’t ours and there was 4 people sat on our table. We then had to wait further with still no drinks. I went to speak to manager and complained we been there over 20 minutes and never got a drink. The manager then came back and was unapologetic and made excuses for the situation instead of an apology. The manger stated we only ordered our drinks 5 minutes ago when this wasn’t true and he stated that the drinks on our table belonged to a different table. We also didn’t get an apology for this. Personally felt like the manger came to our table to start an argument and was very close to my face as the music was so loud which felt very close in my personal space. The manager went back and we then noticed he was talking to the waitress and were starring at our table and making it obvious. Made us feel uncomfortable.Just felt like this was dealt very unprofessionally. Choose a different bottomless brunch.

My partner and I had an incredible evening at Lost & Found Leeds on Greek Street and it was all thanks to our fantastic server, Alannah. From the moment she greeted us her warmth and genuine enthusiasm made us feel so welcome. She was a true professional, offering excellent recommendations from the cocktail menu and the food menu which were both spot on. Alannah was attentive without being intrusive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The way she handled a slightly complex drinks order was impressive she was patient, knowledgeable, and ensured everything was perfect. It's rare to find someone who combines such efficiency with such a friendly, bubbly personality. The food and drinks were delicious, but Alannah truly elevated our experience from good to outstanding . Her passion for her job shines through, and she's a real asset to the team at Lost & Found. The meatballs were flavorful, especially with the tomato sauce. The pizza crust was light and crispy, and even finishing a whole pizza on your own didn’t feel too heavy. The pasta paired perfectly with the cheese. We will definitely come back again.

Was recommended by my friend. We came here for my partners 30th birthday was provided a free prosecco glass with our meal. The service from the staff is great, the food is amazing and the price is much lower than expected. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for sure.

We ordered bruschetta, first time it came, the plate was literally watery, the baguette slices were soggy and the tomatoes and onions looked stale and old. We sent it back and requested another one to be made. And this is what was served, two stingy THIN and small slices of bread dished up with the same stale pale tomatoes and onion. It tasted just like old food and bread was chewy I almost threw up. Having had bruschetta from ALOT of places, I definitely know what flavour profiles it requires and this was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. The staff were great and service was nice, they were understanding too, shout out to Steven. But the food was just disappointing.

This review is LONG overdue. I moved to Leeds to start uni. My mom and I went to the Bella Italia in Leeds for dinner one night. Our server, Mel, was incredible! She was very helpful and gave us a laugh while we were figuring out what to eat. She was also very kind offering me advice and letting me know I could ask her any questions. I meant to write this review 2 weeks ago but I was logged out of my account. Bella Italia should consider themselves very lucky to have a server as lovely and genuine as Mel. The food and drinks were also very delicious.

Shears Yard is a modern European bar and restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, featuring steel beams, exposed bricks, and high ceilings. The menu boasts exciting dishes such as Escabeche of octopus and Raspberry marshmallow. Additionally, the restaurant serves an impressive Sunday roast with options for both carnivores and vegetarians.
Loved everything about this place. Food is incredible and food portion sizes too. Good variety on a small seasonal menu so everyone found something they really enjoyed. Service was impeccable and really friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed yet classy without being pretentious. Will definitely visit again.

I had my wedding reception here this month and it was incredible. From start to finish it was such an easy experience booking and arranging what we wanted. Nic the owner and his team are truly an incredible one and the food, drinks; ambience, and service on the day were second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. Every guest said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to and that’s because of the team here. Will recommend anyone looking to get married to use Shears Yard as you are brilliant! We will be back very regularly to eat here and will be regulars for life! Thank you for making our day magic ❤️❤️❤️

This was a great dining experience. The food is gourmet style, yet reasonably priced. The table service is excellent and the atmosphere is calm , welcoming and professional. I'd definitely eat here again as the menu has some very delicious sounding dishes.

We had an absolutely amazing night at Shears Yard last night. What a little gem this restaurant is from entering the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome from Ben and the ambiance was so nice and relaxing. We booked a tasting menu for 2 with wine pairing. We can’t recommend this enough it was absolutely delicious. The presentation and quality of the food was first class we savoured every mouthful it was absolutely delicious. We were excited for each dish that followed as Ben explained in absolute detail each course and Alex was very knowledgeable on each of the wines that paired superbly. The service received from Ben and Alex was first class it felt more like a private dining experience they were so attentive and knowledgeable. Also a big shout out to the chef and thank you for the amazing food you prepared for us. We will definitely be back and will continue to recommend this fabulous place!

A great experience from start to finish. We came for the tasting menu. Me and my partner have a few intolerances, but both management and the kitchen had no problems swapping stuff out for us. The food was amazing, as were the drinks pairings. The service was perfect, very casual but nothing was too much of an ask. Can’t wait to return!

Very chilled ambiance at shears. I was suprised by the lunch menu cost 2 courses for £20 or 3 courses for £25. At that price (let's be honest was in this day and age a steal, but I was dubious). I was indeed wrong. The quality and presentation of the food was divine. We decided on trying the bread, the butter that day was mixed with timothy taylor beer. Not to my taste, but the forcaccia bread...oh my the bread. The crust was definately to my taste if you lean on the salty side of cuisine it was worth the price! The fish tasted fresh and delicate. My lamb was cooked perfectly. The kimchi potatoes were drier than expected...however, I l2t it go after the chocolate brownie. I shared this with my husband. It was rich with flavour from tart cherries to the silky ganache. I forget our waiters name, but he was chipper and friendly. Gave his opinion on some the dishes which was useful. Was definately a warm welcome coming through the door. I would love to come back for an evening meal.

It’s hard to find a really good Sunday lunch sometimes when you are looking at new towns and cites. My grandson found this little gem for us to go out for a little meal when we visited him at his uni digs. And wow it did not fail to please. We had a starter of seared smoked salmon and then a beef or pork Sunday lunch each and they were delicious. The staff were just amazing also. The star of the day the bread and butter well we had never tasted such superb bread with butter. Its most certainly baked on prem and what a baker who makes it. You could live off it and i have added it to my to ten list of favourite foods now. I cant recall the exact details but it was black garlic with grape and a few other ingredients between the butter and bread i felt like Oliver and wanted to shout please sir could i have some more.

Visited last night to try out the tasting menu. The place itself is lovely inside, really nice atmosphere and music. We ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairing, which was matched beautifully. We really enjoyed the food itself. However, we felt so rushed between courses. We weren't given enough time to finish our drink before our next drink and course was being given to us. I had to ask to have a break between courses because we hadn't been given one. We felt the waiting staff weren’t interested in providing an experience and didn’t give us any extra information about the tasting menu itself. It was a shame considering how much we paid for the experience. Unfortunately, I don't think I would visit again as the customer service spoiled the whole experience.

Dart bar
Bar
Brunch restaurant
Flight Club Leeds is the city's first social darts experience bar, offering a unique and fun-filled atmosphere. The bar features an impressive selection of cocktails, adult slushies, and beers, including specialty drinks like the Mother of All Mules and toffee apple Old Fashioned. In addition to its fantastic drinks, Flight Club also offers a range of entertaining activities such as bowling, shuffleboard, crazy golf, beer pong, and escape games.
Love the decor of this place it's all decorated so well and is very cool. Have been a couple of times and the darts is great fun too, some different games to mix it up though I will say if there's just two of you you probably only need the hour rather than 90 minutes as you get through them quickly not being in a big group! Staff are friendly and it's just a good experience all round thank you :)

This is my 3rd time visiting Flight Club previously in London branches. The same vibe, service and just all round excellent experience. On this occasion visited for drinks and games with work friends which was really fun and enjoyable.

What a genius idea for a brunch! Booked this for a group of 6 girls one Saturday and every single one loved it! On arrival you are shown to your table where your pre ordered drinks are waiting for you. You could choose a bottle of prosecco or 4 bottled beers per person. Everyone had opted for Prosecco. They also had a jug of orange in case you wanted to make mimosas along with a jug of water and plenty of spare glasses. Very well thought out! This is also where your unlimited pizza is served, this is pretty decent pizza too (choice of 3)! You are given half an hour to sit and enjoy this and make a start on your drinks. Once your half hour is up, you are moved to your own area to start your games of darts. Your drinks and pizza are moved with you so you don't feel rushed one bit. You get half an hour to work your way through the various games of darts which were a lot of fun! Your final half hour, you are moved back to the bar area to finish your drinks which we seemed to have quite a lot left so stayed for way longer but ! nobody was being kicked out. It's really nice to go for a brunch where you're not just knocking drinks back to get your money's worth and bog standard food. This was such a refreshing change a fun activity in a relaxed atmosphere, well worth it's money! Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely brilliant time. If you are wanting a quirky fun evening with something a little different then this is a place to try. Doesn't matter if you are into darts or even good at darts, it's still loads of fun and the service is top notch. Called for table service and before I had everyone's order, I had table service asking me what we all wanted. Can't recommend this place enough. Great night for anything from friends getting together to starting your night's party off with great fun!!

Great service and atmosphere at the flight club. Fun times, recommend a visit if you haven't been. Good for friends and family, popular as a work 'event'.

We had a fantastic time for our work event. The staff were very friendly, helpful and thorough. They regularly checked if we needed more pizzas for our brunch (which was delicious, especially the 4 cheese one) and the amount of alcohol was perfect. We bought additional cocktails/shots, which were also fantastic. There was a member of staff at the bar, named Daisy, who was particularly noteworthy. She was super polite, friendly and accommodating of everything we asked. I lost the receipt that I could provide feedback about so I hope she sees this! My only less positive feedback was that I think 90 minutes would be a better length of time for playing darts. We didn't get time to have a go at all the games and we were all disappointed when the time was up. It went too quickly!
Megan E — Google review
We came midweek at lunchtime so created our own atmosphere! Fun darts with a variety of games to keep the interest going. Something for everyone even if you've never played before. Staff very helpful, went through the log on process and brought our food quickly from the lunchtime meal deal menu. Big portions!

Japanese restaurant
Located in Leeds, Oba Korean & Japanese Kitchen & Bar offers a delightful fusion of Korean and Japanese cuisines. The restaurant prides itself on providing flavorsome food and great service. Their menu features Korean noodle dishes, bibimbap, classic kimchi, yakisoba, sushi, and rich teriyaki plates.
Walked in on a busy Saturday evening solo, fortunately though I was still offered a table. The place was so well decorated. Clean-ish. I tried their veggie bibimbap (with the egg). The server kindly asked how spicy I wanted it with the hot sauce, and got "mild" spot on for me. Temperature wise it arrived hot enough. I felt the elements were really creative, and given the flavour it was definitely one of the bibimbaps I've ever had. Note 10% service charge is added to the bill as stated on the menu. To be fair, the service was one of the best I have yet experienced. Friendly and helpful. Great for dates - though I think this is already known locally.

Interior is pretty and the location of the restaurant is good. However Service: was soso, most staff appear to be university students which isn’t a problem but they all seem quite stone cold and not very approachable especially the male servers. Food: we saw a seasonal 4 flavour chicken wing special so was excited to try it - we were incredibly disappointed, it was basically 8 wings, 2 of each flavour but based on my images they tasted quite similar except the for the mustard one, with random petals as garnish which was unnecessary. From what I remember this cost around £15-16 which was ludicrous. The nigiri was okay but the saviour of the meal was the Korean dishes, both the bibimbap and the pork belly bento were good but based on the experience and menu with the cost here I wouldn’t be visiting again.

Thankyou so much to all the staff for going above and beyond to ensure my daughter, who is turning 10 had a wonderful experience at your restaurant. The food was lovely, we really enjoyed it and you all went above and beyond in looking after us. The table was decorated with balloons on our arrival and our every need was catered for. Thank you again for the lovely food and wonderful service. We will be back ❤️🥳🎂😁

OMG best restaurant ever! It was my son's birthday and he wanted to go for a meal somewhere nice last Saturday evening. He loves Ramen & I love Korean food, so we phoned up 2hrs in advance & were able to make a last minute reservation. I mentioned it was his birthday & he wanted ramen - they said that normally their ramen menu is only until 5pm but since it was a special occasion they'd make an exception for him. The lovely service only started there, when we arrived there were balloons & a birthday card with a voucher at the table. So sweet & considerate, especially with only 2hrs notice. The ground floor level looked busy but they'd still managed to squeeze us in. We ordered Kimchi fried rice, Bibimbap, Ramen & gyoza, Popcorn shrimp & very reasonably priced maki. Everything was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked & beautifully presented. I've eaten a lot of Korean food over 30 years & finally, a place in Leeds that matches what I've experienced in other parts of the world! The service was impeccable, very child friendly, thoughtful, quick & polite. The icing on the cake was the manager making an on the house mocktail for our son, stunning presentation & very tasty too. We look forward to returning soon, highly recommended!

Visited Oba on a Saturday night and had a great experience! The restaurant is beautifully done, really stylish with a great atmosphere. Tried chicken kimbap for the first time and absolutely loved it. The sushi was also on point, especially the chicken katsu roll and the California roll. Super fresh and well put together. Overall, a fantastic spot in Leeds. Would definitely come back again, perfect for a night out or a chill post work dinner!

TLDR - Lovely atmosphere, great service, fantastic food, highly recommended. Went to this place today and it was amazing. The OBA sharing platter included everything you would want as a starter. It have edamame, honey mustard chicken, deep fried white bait, squid rings and gyozas. ( Gyozas were my favourite :P ). I got the kimchi pork belly with rice for the main course alongside a cocktail that perfectly matched the pork belly. It was recommended by the bartender when I asked about which cocktail I should pair the kimchi pork belly with and it was spot on! The pork belly was spicy but enough to feel the spiciness of the kimchi but not too much to burn your mouth. The highlight of the restaurant was the atmosphere of it. It was vibrant yet relaxed, and the service was amazing. The servers were attentive and polite even when it was crowded! Would come again.

Had a fantastic experience at The Canary in Leeds! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. A special shoutout to Miles, who made us feel welcome from start to finish. Will worth a visit of your in the area for sure.

We ordered the chicken and beef burger with 2 french martinis and a side of halloumi fries and mac and cheese (mouthfuls) bites. the ratios of meat to sauce to bun was nothing short of perfection. No room for dessert tho but we were truly satisfied none the less.

Set away from the hustle and bustle of Leeds City Centre, in a modern and cosy setting at Leeds Dock (close to the Royal Armouries Museum), we absolutely recommend you give The Canary Bar a chance for some mouth-watering and finger-licking good food and drinks. Perfect for a gathering – Whether you be taking a partner or mate date, you’ll find lots of beers, cocktails and spirits to choose from alongside a concise food menu that consists of some great staple dishes packing LOTS of flavours, so the choice is an easy one. We enjoyed; Wings with Buffalo sauce – WOW. Big wings and great tasting, some of the best wings we’ve ever tried actually (6 for £7) Mac & Cheese Bites (V) served with chilli jam – very nice (£5.50) Buttermilk Chicken Burger; Spiced buttermilk chicken breast, Swiss cheese, gem lettuce, tomato & spiced slaw, served on a brioche bun with House Fries – a decent portion, very tasty, not too messy but still hits the spot (£12) Halloumi Salad (V, GF); Grilled halloumi, avocado, tomato, cucumber & mixed leaf salad, dressed with balsamic glaze. I also added Garlic & Herb Chicken – SO MUCH halloumi and chicken!! The chicken was reallllly garlicky (we do love garlic so that didn’t hinder our date haha) it was fabulous. A really fresh meal (£10.50+£2) Washed down with pints of Peroni, French Martini and a Cosmo (cocktails are £9 or 2 for £15 4pm-6pm) The menu also includes Loaded Fries and a small selection of Desserts. We loved the food here and the setting and we had the chance to watch some football after our food as they also show live sky sport. Something for everyone! The Canary Bar also offer a bottomless brunch available Saturdays 12pm – 5pm including 90 mins of unlimited Prosecco, Mimosas, Cocktail of the Week & Coronas as well as a Main Meal for £32pp. As well as this, there is a £10 lunch offer Tuesday – Fridays, bargain! OPENING TIMES; Monday – Sunday: 11am – 11pm. Kitchen closes at 9pm. *Dog Friendly*

Had a lovely family lunch here one Sunday, it was rather quiet which is a shame as the venue is stunning. Very instagramable! The food is great too, we opted for a combination of tapas and main courses and it was all really tasty. Service very good and all staff friendly. We opted to be seated in a booth inside, most people were sat on the terrace area. I would love to go back and try the brunch with the girls! We tried their sister restaurant Nesso in Morley the other week, completely different vibe but just as good, worth a visit!

We came here for a baby shower, and we were in the back of the restaurant which was very nicely decorated. There was about 15 of us in total. We'd pre ordered food and drinks. I will say service was very bad. No staff were coming up to us to refill tap water even when we asked, to ask what drinks we wanted, nor did they bring any of the drinks we'd pre ordered unless we asked them more than once. The starters came relatively on time but after that we were waiting over an hour for food, and we'd asked them a couple of times. When the food came, it was quite cold and not that nice especially after such a long wait. It was hard to get any condiments too, salt and pepper shakers were empty. It seemed there were enough staff and the restaurant was quite empty so I don't know what took so long. Maybe for a small group it is okay but it wasn't really worth it for a larger gathering. Restaurant is otherwise pretty and has good options for food.

A very interesting cafe! Good location, a bit hidden but they are right next to the Leeds market. Fab and friendly staff. Small cafe but they make tasty, strong and smooth coffee. One thing I noticed was that they don't have an additional charge for milk alternatives (we asked for oat milk!). There was a time early in the morning, we are going to the bus station to catch an early bus. We wanted to get a coffee from them but they were not open yet. Finally, we got a chance this time! I had a flat white, and it was delicious. The food and service were excellent, but there are no seats to sit in; it's a takeaway coffee shop.

A cozy gem! They serve great coffee and their apple crumble cake is fantastic. Prices are cheaper compared to other coffee shops. Plus, they have a good playlist too!

Quality of the week food was awful. We ordered Strawberries and cream frappe tasted like a tea spoon of nesquik and milk. Food tuck 40mins to arrive and came out burnt. 1:10. Not a brunch environment.

Cosy place, had steak sandwich which was great. Partner had maple pancakes and bacon which wasn't too great, barely cooked bacon and barely any maple syrup.

An insanely good little coffee shop. Their coffee and cake deal is such good value and the banana bread is stupid good ❤️

This speciality coffee shop is probably one of the best ones I have tried in Leeds. Even though the shop was small, they had a wide selection of coffee beans from different roasters, and they had some tasty looking desserts and snacks to go with your coffee ! I tried the biscoff banana loaf, which was so delicious, wish i could have bought another before i left. I recommend this little coffee shop for all my fellow coffee experts & lovers out there !

Steak house
Blackhouse is a trendy, modern venue in Leeds city center known for its sustainably sourced steak and seafood. The restaurant offers a signature cocktail menu and has gained recognition for its three-course dinner featuring meats like roast beef, half-roasted chicken, and sage and garlic rubbed pork loin. Vegetarian options such as spiced squash wellington are also available.
Loved every bite. OMG, it was really delicious. Good size of meals and everything prepared as requested. Highly recommended restaurant.

Incredible evening at Blackhouse for their event with Whitby Lobster Conservation. The food was next-level — the mixed prawns were a standout starter, and the lobster main was honestly unreal. Knowing how rare it is to try Whitby lobster (only 5% stays in the UK!) made it feel even more special. (We got here from the guys at Whitby lobster conservation and I learnt so many interesting facts which added so much to the event was just about food but the story). The jasmine curd dessert was light, refreshing, and perfectly sized. Wine pairings were spot on — not the biggest fan of the dessert wine, but that’s personal taste (I prefer drier wines). What really stood out was the service. The staff were knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, and talked us through the menu with care. Easily some of the best service I’ve had in Leeds. An unforgettable experience — can’t wait to come back.

Amazing experience at black house on Saturday night! I came to celebrate with my partner and I couldn’t have asked for a better server. Kitty our server was so attentive to our needs, gave us good advice on food options and what wines would be good to compliment the dishes with. She even went the extra mile and gave us a desert to celebrate together which was a lovely touch. We left with full stomach’s, indulging on the best steak and drinks.

Brilliant date night! We arrived early to catch the last of the sunshine on the balcony with 241 cocktails. We then moved inside and enjoyed amazing food served by the fabulous Nellie. We highly recommend the chateaubriand and the new Malbec wine we were encouraged to try was beautiful. Nellie went above and beyond to make our night the best and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Nellie and the rest of the team, we’ll be back soon

Went here a couple weeks ago for my wife’s birthday and had a lovely meal. Absolutely delicious steak and sides. The live pianist was pretty good and our server Saul was a lovely guy and helpful to us in choosing what to eat. will be back again!

We came here for a date night and it was an absolute pleasure. We were warmly greeted at the door by Kitty. And then we were waited on perfectly by Maddy. She was attentive, always asked us how we were getting on and if we needed more drinks. This made our time so so special. The food was 10/10. We can’t wait to come back thank you so much all

Was visiting from London to see a friend, we booked in the bottomless brunch and I honestly think it was the best bottomless Ive ever had. The staff are so attentive and wonderful and look after you throughout your time there, no rushing us off after we had finished and the food was just excellent. The drinks selection was fab too, highly recommend!

Bit of an experience the atmosphere and environment and set up of the restaurant was very beautiful and stunning. When you were seated it was it was very comfortable unfortunately our service staff member were still in training, so It’s understandable there would be a certain amount of mistakes, but it took us 2 1/2 hours to have our starters Main and deserts. Service staff often forgot to take our order or even put it into the kitchen. The soup and other starters that we ordered were absolutely phenomenal. my Main’s was on the other side of the scale. I had ordered fish, it had scales, served in a Chipped plate with sharp edge and I believe that it was not steamed correctly. Unfortunately it made me not want to continue with the meal, but didn’t want to spoil it for my friend that had gone along with me so we had deserts and we headed back. The staff member that did the upmost to provide a positive experience was Marvilla she was absolutely lovely and was trying her upmost to help me with placing the orders and Corrected all the mistakes that had come into play. when I spoke to the manager, it felt like he downplayed everything and didn’t take my concern seriously. The overall experience for me and my friend is that the food is good definitely on the pricey side but customer service may not be as good as other places.

We recently dined at Sukhothai in Leeds and was completely blown away by the experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere and aromatic scents promised an authentic Thai culinary journey - and it absolutely delivered. The menu offers an incredible variety of classic dishes, all bursting with fresh, vibrant flavours. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced - just the right mix of sweet, sour and nutty - while the Green Curry had that ideal creamy richness with a kick of spice. Service was attentive and friendly, with staff happy to recommend dishes and check spice preferences and allergies. The restaurant itself has a lovely modern yet cosy vibe, making it great for both casual meals and special occasions. With generous portions, reasonable prices and truly authentic taste, Sukhothai has become my new go-to for Thai food in Leeds. Can't recommend it enough - I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu!

A very rustic venue, not what I Imagined, was a bit disappointed with the seating area we were given, as there were 3 Oaps in my party and it was difficult for them to slide in the allocated booth style seating we were given, there were only 2 couples in so more concentration could have been given. Toilets upstairs very very dark, black walls and very dim lighting, accident waiting to happen if it hasn't already! Food was tasty warm freshly cooked, drinks nice and cold, male staff member was polite and friendly

Loved the food! Just that I felt the gravy could have been a bit more for the Sunday Roast. Otherwise all good. I had ordered Sunday Roast with Mooless Moo (Vegan, Jackfruit) Pie. The pie I felt was too salty. My friend had a Gluten Free Pie from the Gluten Free Menu. I loved the fact that this place offer a variety of English items with considerations for various dietary restrictions, without compromising on taste. The service was wonderful. I didn’t feel any hurry or didn’t wait too much for the food. The people were lovely. I loved the vibe of the place. Overall a wonderful place to visit on Sunday with friends.

We had tried to go here the day before but they were full up with brunch customers so we can back the next day. We were not disappointed. We did have to wait a bit and get a drink at the bar. We were seated after about 20 min and had a very pleasant server. The real highlight though was the food! It was fantastic. I was not sure what to expect, we were coming for the atmosphere so this level of service and food was a surprise. I had the fish finger sandwich and it was extremely well cooked, maybe perfectly. Good breading and even better sauce and slaw. The bun was fresh tasting and completed the sandwich.

We had such a lovely dinner at cosy club! We hadn’t booked but they found somewhere for us to sit outside immediately! I ordered a spicy coconut and pineapple margarita which did have a kick but was so good! We had the monkey bread which was 10/10 it was warm and salty and tasted amazing. My linguine was so delicious and my boyfriend’s steak was great too. Pheobe and Alice were serving us and they were so helpful and smiley it made all the difference! We will definitely be back again🍝🍸❤️

A great development of an old retail space into a bar and restaurant. Lots of decor is art deco, and the furnishings match the name, namely cosy. I didn't eat here but the menu looked really interesting. Next time. It is a nice atmosphere to chill ,relax and enjoy your tipple.

Lovely evening here. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, all really friendly, fun, and helpful. The drinks were good, but a little overpriced. The food was lovely, but the portion sizes were a little small. All in all, a nice place to visit.

I fell in love with this restaurant 😊 The atmosphere of this restaurant is unique... a combination of traditional and modern atmosphere ... Suitable for romantic dates or even group parties... the restaurant space is very large and you will have your own privacy. If you don't like the dimly lit space, be sure to choose the tables next to the window, which are brighter. The restaurant staff, including the restaurant manager, are very friendly and pleasant. ● The food took a little longer to prepare than usual so be patient if you are very hungry. ● Food was not served to everyone at the same time. ● The wrong coffee order was served, but the correct order was immediately replaced. ● I chose a new dish from the menu, the Spanish chicken, which was very tasty, but the corners of the chicken were a little over-grilled, but overall it was excellent. Unlike the above points, which can definitely be improved, I definitely recommend this restaurant... and I will definitely visit again...

Came here for some food before seeing a concert at the arena. I didn't know what to expect, but the decor of the place is very historic. Full of ancient portraits. So the food looked good. Had the buttermilk fried and chicken and beef burger. We did have to send one of the burgers back as it was a lot more under cooked than the other, and my friend doesn't like pink red meat. They were really polite though and swapped her burger. We didn't have any desserts as they didn't sound too appealing to us. They did however have a matcha martini that I had to try. Overall was a nice place. I wouldn't pick it all the time but I would come back. Staff were lovely

Visited Cosy Club in Leeds recently and had a really enjoyable time — the atmosphere was stylish and relaxed, and the food and drinks were just what we were after. But the real highlight? The staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It made such a difference to the experience and gave the place a lovely, personal feel. We’ll definitely be back — great service makes all the difference, and the team here really got it right.

Taken to Cozy Club by my cubs for Father's Day and was treated to a cut glass with a miniature from Cozy Club. I had the Dirty Chicken Burger, which was delicious, followed by a very tasty Miso Custard Tart. The rest of the family had some sharing plates in beef croquettes, buttermilk chicken and mac 'n' cheese, followed by chocolate mousse and brownie. Shame the Flat White was tepid when it arrived. Great food friendly service - the staff were so nice.

The Whitehall Restaurant & Bar in Leeds is a casual dining venue offering a diverse menu of fish, meat dishes, pasta, and pizza alongside creative cocktails and an extensive wine selection. Renowned for its exceptional carvery, the restaurant features favorites such as roast beef, corn-fed chicken breast, pork belly, and a delectable butternut squash roast. The establishment provides an elegant brunch experience with indoor and heated al-fresco dining options.
I was fortunate to be staying nearby and was pulled in by the intriguing menu filled with delights for carnivores like myself and choices for my vegetarian wife. We were both impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness of our servers. There was little wait for our food, but each dish was cooked to perfection. The Venison Wellington was a standout dish for me, and I found it paired quite well with a side order of scalloped potatoes. We left full, happy, and looking forward to the next visit! Thanks to all the staff!

We were a walk-in today, wanted to try their Sunday roast, pictures and reviews we read were decent. Managed to get a table but was asked if we'd mind agreeing to a limited time, which wasn't a problem. I would recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. Service was good, very attentive, food was excellent, we had Beef and Pork, both cooked perfectly. Came with a side of cauliflower cheese and extra gravy. Portion size was enough for us, very happy with our visit.

First visit to this large restaurant on Whitehall Road; at the foot of that tower that’s had so many problems with the cladding. Now scaffolding free, it made me notice this place afresh. Inside the restaurant is bright and airy, white walls and marble floors. There’s a nice vibe in here of an evening. Chill yet traditional. You sense the meal will be good. Nice big menu with lots of choice. Pizza, pasta and steak. Also fish. Opted for the venison wellington; I love venison and it sounded like a dish that would be rich and hearty. Not wrong, a beautiful (and big) portion of perfectly pink venison in a light and flaky crust. Wow, could eat that all day. So very rich with a hearty sauce, turnip to the side. I wish more places would use game. The chef here clearly knows his meat. Excellent. The steak must be fantastic. Reasonably priced as well. The beer was Moretti; as it should be when it isn’t Peroni. Definitely recommend giving this place a try next time you’re in town. They do specials too, so a chance at finding something unexpected and intriguing on the menu. Always welcome. Two paws up. Well done.

Highly recommend this restaurant. We held my Mum's 60th here in August, everything was fantastic. Booking via phone was easy, very accommodating for a group of 14 and two high chairs, only a credit card needed to secure the booking. We had a choice of a set menu or a la carte, no ordering in advance or requirement to all eat from the same menu. Very flexible. It's rare to find a restaurant nowadays where you feel completely satisifed with everything but The Whitehall exceeded my expectations! The scallops to start were 10/10...cooked to perfection in a beautiful sauce, I could eat them every day. The pork duo main was delicious, cooked perfectly and well seasoned, good portion size with enough room for dessert. Every single person in our party said their food was fantastic. The menu has so much choice, it really was difficult to choose. The staff were all so attentive, friendly and helpful, they helped decorate the table, topped our glasses up without leaving us waiting and really couldn't have done any more for us. The wine waiter had some good suggestions too. This restaurant is perfect for a group, it's open and modern so can be noisy but it was unpretentious and classy. I wish we lived in Leeds, we would visit all the time. We had a really enjoyable experience and felt it was very reasonably priced. A must visit in Leeds.

Canal Club, located on Little Neville Street in Leeds, has quickly gained popularity since its opening in late 2021. It has been recognized as the top restaurant in Leeds and offers a diverse sharing menu with global-inspired dishes. The venue boasts trendy cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a stylish dining experience.
I went to back when bottomless brunch. Was so busy so was skeptical about how many drinks I would get. We honestly had so many and the choices were amazing. Only one cocktail but was so nice. I also had rum and coke, Prosecco, pink gin and lemonade. Music was amazing and atmosphere was so good. Food was nice but small portions I don’t mind as I like to drink at a bottomless but if the food is the main thing for you maybe this brunch is not it. Deffo recommend.
Jada M — Google review
As an experience this is great. Listening to the music and singing along was so much fun and such a vibe. The music choice was great, the dj knew how to step it up. The energy. The aesthetic. All amazing. However, as a bottomless brunch It isn't the one. Because everyone starts at the same time it can take a while to get drinks ordered and served. The spirits and a mixer is good, but for a cocktail definitely not and the prosecco was warm. The food is so bad. The chicken, as you can see was small and overcooked. The burger is your best bet. Also we had three people booked and paid for but one person couldn't attend. We told them to bring the food out anyway as then we'd have like three small plates to pick at, but they never brought the third dish. Also you need to order drinks at the table, but if your table isn't near the dance floor then you'll have to choose between drinking and dancing. Overall, a good experience to have but not one I would repeat.

We came for the 50% off the new menu and the email marketing was that it would be treated as VIPs (20/06) Unfortunately half way through our mains we were asked to move outside with our food. This was the first we had heard there was an event on in the bar area and the booking was meant to be for two hours, we were moved after less than an hour into sitting down with full plates of food. The staff could tell we were pretty frustrated being told to take our half eaten food outside so offered us an extended happy hour?! This did not make up for the table being taken off us The food was great price for 50% off and pretty decent, for full price the birria gyros and lamb is probably a little pricey but it is overall decent bar food

We went to Canal Club for a birthday brunch this Saturday, and unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. The music and the Back When team were fantastic, but the service and drinks really let the whole thing down. Our booking was for 7:30pm with a group of nine, but the table only had eight seats, so one of my friends had to squeeze in. That alone wouldn’t have been a big deal if everything else had gone smoothly. However, by 8pm we were still waiting on our first drinks, while other tables already had theirs and were halfway through their food. When I asked one of the Canal Club staff, I was told our order had been lost and had to be taken again. Over the full 90 minutes, we only managed to get four drinks each, which hardly feels “bottomless.” One of my friends, who is pregnant, was charged full price—which she didn’t mind as we were told mocktails were included. However, the ‘mocktails’ turned out to just be orange juice. I’ve done Back When brunches at Playroom many times and always had amazing experiences, so I expected the same here despite hearing some negative reviews beforehand. Sadly, those reviews turned out to be true. Several of my friends commented on how rude some of the staff were, even slamming food down at the table. The whole thing felt rushed, as if they just wanted us in and out without bothering to give a good service. It’s such a shame because everything else—the music, the entertainment, the Back When staff—is brilliant. But the venue really lets it down. I honestly think moving the brunches to a different location would make a huge difference, as Canal Club’s reputation is already putting people off, and experiences like this don’t help.

Rewind bottomless brunch …. We paid £39.99 pp and definitely wasn’t value for money . The time starts from the start of that session so doors open at 5pm so 5pm-6.30pm welcome drink in paper cups or Prosecco in a plastic flute ….as for alcohol seriously doubt it ,massively watered down .Service was poor ,so hard trying to order drinks . The pasta was awful the burgers were micro sized the best was the hotdog option lol . Music from DJ was good loud but you could still chat . We have never been to a bottomless brunch and not felt slightly merry/tipsy if you know what I mean by the end ….This we were all sober felt like we had fizzy pop So not value for money ,sadly won’t be going back there .Far better bottomless brunch options in Leeds

Went 27/09/25 at 5pm for a bottomless brunch for a birthday and at £40 for 1.5 hours we expected it to be a good brunch, all I can say is we were all very disappointed, Music and atmosphere was good. Food was ok Drinks I personally had 3!!! we were only in a group of 5 people and were practically ignored at one point we had asked for drinks and waited 25 minutes with nothing!!! As we had pre paid we walked out. Save your money and go somewhere else!!! 😔

The gig tonight was good which was The Prodigy. I was shocked how short it was, like say the music was amazing but how can a venue think it’s on for 45 mins set to be done and literately band walked off straight into bar with no explanation so made most feel deflated. Like say band was good shame you didn’t play The Warrior Dance as that’s just one best songs going out there misses and I love it would of made our night even more special

The venue has a light and airy ambiance, making it perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a family meal. The menu features delicious options such as gyros, arancini with spinach, and dolmades (stuffed vine leaves). The staff are knowledgeable and attentive, providing excellent service. Guests have praised the friendly and approachable nature of the staff members, particularly mentioning Faye for her superb service.
Had such a fantastic time at brunch — everything was spot on! Erin was absolutely amazing: friendly, attentive, and made sure our glasses were never empty. The food was delicious with great variety, and every dish we tried was full of flavour. Loved the whole vibe of the place — fun, relaxed, and perfect for a weekend catch-up. Will definitely be back!

Had a lovely dinner! Even though it was a Tuesday evening it was quite busy but that didn’t stop the atmosphere being calm and enjoyable. The portions were filling and worth the price; the beef Stifado in particular was very tender and delicious. I must recommend the Sangria as well! Overall, would definitely visit again.

Really friendly and the food is amazing. Staff are really friendly and helpful and no problem with swapping certain items on a meal. Tap water was offered and served lovely and cold. The restaurant is so pretty and very comfortable with air con. A mixture of ages which is great, fabulous for a group of friends or couples. Charlie was just the best server

We had a fantastic night for our dad’s surprise 70th birthday party 🥳 The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, from the set up of the birthday balloons beforehand and throughout the whole evening. Our server Dexter was exceptionally helpful, friendly and attentive. He brought the food for our large group together and kept us topped up with drinks throughout the evening. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he made sure we were all happy. The food was delicious and we had a great time! Would thoroughly recommend this place! Thank you for making our dad’s day so special! The Hayes Family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very pleasant midweek evening meal, a super attentive team, a nice atmosphere and a varied menu. A shame some of the deals available at their other restaurants aren't valid in Leeds but the VIP discount is nice. Portion sizes were a little smaller than anticipated on the mains but the desserts are very generous. My only small gripe was the presence of some of the usually discarded parts of the tomato where the stalk is attached but to be fair it was more of an aesthetic faux pas than anything that impacted on the eating experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Great vibes in the place. Beautifully crafted cocktails by expert staff. One of the best old fashioned cocktails I’ve had, so good I had to have it twice! A nice buzz in this bar & very friendly staff. Great job - will definitely be back again! Strawberry daiquiri was also delicious!

Went for bottomless brunch and had a great time. Lots of options in terms of food but some of the hot food options could have been better (frozen food clearly). The cocktail options were all gin based with a mixer so maybe they could add some other spirits to the mix. They also have prosecco free-flowing.

Casa Leeds is a laid-back restaurant that serves Colombian and Latin cuisine along with coffee and cocktails. The menu features a variety of Latin American classics in small plate form, including empanadas, tacos, corn cakes, and cassava fritters. They also offer traditional dishes from Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. Casa Leeds caters to those with dietary restrictions by offering gluten-free options as well as a selection of vegan dishes.
Brilliant place. Authentic South American food. No matter what you order, it is going to be delicious and mind blowing. Great team of staff. It is a must visit restaurant and there is also a dance club upstairs, there are dance events and lessons on South American style dancing. Very fun places. I have visited Casa for over 5 years and the high quality of food and the great service has been consistent.

Another solo meal……there’s an art to solo eating. Go high end or drop to lower end quieter. Go mainstream and you’re gonna to feel uncomfortable. Casa is a simple but quality eating (and South American dance club if that’s your thing) venue. Halfway down Leeds’ Grand Arcade it offers an interesting array of South American foods. Offering a completely Gluten Free menu it’s niche. I ordered a glass of Pino Grigio while I looked at the menu. Not good. Sent it back. Got a Super Bock beer - superb. Ordered three dishes from their tapas menu. Lamb chops - delicious but lack of meat meant I felt shortchanged. Beef tacos - good but needed a little more spice/flavour, fried plantain with guacamole - delicious. Something of a curate’s egg. I’m inclined to say I like it. But it needs to sharpen up in a couple of areas.

Great atmosphere, and mixed opinion by service (great staff for serving but not very pleasant from the desk on arrival). Not many choices for vegan, as you can see in the images-we ordered all tapas which are vegan on the menu and i thought that I have ordered 2 each as they looked and tasted resemble. I have seen many good reviews, hence decided to visit there- but lilttle disspointing. Personally thought that it is Slightly overly priced for what we get.

Mad Frans Bar is a delightful gem in Leeds, perfect for any occasion, whether you're after a quick lunch or a leisurely Sunday roast. This vibrant eatery prides itself on showcasing the finest Yorkshire produce, using fresh ingredients to craft an enticing menu that features everything from Slow Roasted Beef Sirloin Carvery baps to mouthwatering Frans Fried Chicken burgers and fragrant Thai Green Chicken Curry.
Visited for Sunday Lunch. The Roast Sirloin, Yorkshire pudding with tastiest gravy ever 😋 with roast veg, carrots and broccoli. It was beautiful. Others had burgers and Dirty Hot dog all lovely too. A little gem and prices very good for a city center. Great atmosphere and staff very attentive. Definitely recommend.

A lovely little place although a little noisy at the moment with some construction opposite (July 2014). The food is hot and fresh, reasonably priced for the city centre. A couple more yours and you'll struggle to get in here at peak times Worth a visit. (Review any good? Thumbs up)

A fantastic experience from booking to leaving, incredibly attentive staff, nice ambience and high quality food. The Sunday roast was of a great standard (my photo doesnt do it justice), if I repeat the experience I'll definitely pay the extra £5 to size up though. While the standard portion is adequate I was incredibly jealous when a diner on another table was given his huge upgraded version. The 2 and 3 course deals offer fantastic value. Everyone we dined with really enjoyed their meals (soup, burger, roasts, salad, all great) and said they'd come back. There was a group in celebrating something baby related and the Sunday lunch buffet platters they got looked great. For those driving in on a weekend there's loads of on street parking available near Park Square that's only a couple of minutes walk away and priced quite well. I think we paid about £2 for 4 hours. Highly recommended.

Visited mad Frans for a Sunday dinner (had it quite a few times) and it never disappoints. Usually go for the sharing board but we all had individual plates this time and everything was as delicious as ever! The starters were amazing. That mushroom dish is always delicious but it was the first time trying the arancini balls and oh my goodness they were so good and HUGE! the roasts were delicious too. Perfect pink beef, pork with very crispy crackling and giant Yorkshire puddings! Love mad Frans. Awful roast massive waste of money. I left 10 mins ago and can still taste the bucketful of salt they put in the stuffing. The Yorkshire pudding was about as soft as crackling and the meat cold and chewy. To top it off lumpy gravy too. What a massive waste of money and time. AVOID!

La Bodega Leeds is a hidden gem offering a relaxed and informal Spanish bar experience in the heart of the city. Tucked away beneath Iberica, it exudes an authentic backstreet Madrid vibe with its rustic-industrial ambiance. The bottomless brunch deal is a steal at 40 per person, featuring three tapas dishes and unlimited drinks for 90 minutes.
Had a lovely evening of bottomless sangria and tapas here with my friends on Saturday. Vicky was such a wonderful bartender
Bethany G — Google review
We used to love this place so much, a real feel of a back street tapas bar of any city in Spain. But visiting last night we where very disappointed to see that they've increased the food prices dramatically. The food and drinks are now the same price as the restaurant above, somebody seems to of forgot this is a back street bar experience and in my opinion food and drink should be at least 20% cheaper than the restaurant ( which it used to be) The food is good but the portions small, they have started to be stingy, for example simple Pan con tomate comes as one slice and they charge £6.00, at that price they could at a minimum afford to be a little more generous. The artisan cheese platter, nicely presented but very small portions £16.75. To expensive for what you get and the environment you get served in. Then to cap it all they have the audacity to stick on a 12 % service charge. Like I said at the beginning of the review, we loved this place but in all honesty we won't be going back.

Nice place for a drink. Hired out for an event and was good, nice atmosphere. The bar staff were good and looked after us. Sometimes a bit of a wait. Food looked good. Only a couple of single toilets downstairs in this area.

Went early evening, there was no one else in, and sat at a table. After several minutes of being ignored by the various members of staff, we concluded we had to order at the bar. Fine. We were looking forward to a glass of chilled dry sherry but disappointed to find that, on the hottest day of the year so far, they hadn’t bothered to chill any. We ordered four glasses but were surprised to be told they only had two sherry glasses so would we have brandy glasses instead? Then when we paid the bill they tried to charge us for olives we had ordered but that never arrived. Just rubbish. I’m giving it two stars instead of one because the anchovies were good.

Electric Shuffle Leeds, located at The Headrow in Leeds, offers a unique experience of combining boozy brunch with one hour of innovative mini games that elevate shuffleboard to the next level. For a set price per person, guests can enjoy bottomless prosecco and unlimited pizza served in a retro-inspired space for two hours. Additionally, visitors can engage in a sampler game of shuffleboard during their brunch session.
Came late Sunday afternoon without booking, asked to play a game and was told there would be a 15/20 minute wait but we're given a buzzer and said we could get a drink and wait until our time. Drink prices were very reasonable with plenty of selection and one of the first places we had come across that were actually serving Guinness so bonus points for that. The cost for 90 minutes was £16 for 2 which I think is extremely reasonable in this economy. The table was cleaned and sanitized before our game and re sanded ready for the pucks. The staff were incredibly friendly and really welcoming. There were 4 different interactive games you could choose from with how to videos to go along with each. It's harder than you would think to get the right speed with the pucks. The 90 minutes flew by and we had an absolute blast. If you've never done something like this I would say it's a must and the whole venue is a really special place. Would definitely visit again if in the area and would recommend it to everyone.

We had our firm's summer party using the Gigawatt package and 3 gaming tables. The vibe of the bar is so cool, really clean with fabulous staff. The gaming was loads of fun and really got people mixing and the feedback today has been 100% positive - our boss said it was the best party we've ever had. Everything was easy, from enquiry through to the night itself. Our host Nat was so friendly and helpful, and our Gamesmaster Brad was hilarious and did a brilliant job. The food was delicious and varied, with great vegan choices. I would recommend to anyone wanting a great night out and will definitely book again.

We held our works event here for 90+ people. Everyone had a fantastic time. The food and games were great. But the best part were the staff. So kind and helpful and really bubbly. Wonderful time with friends at a quirky corner of Leeds. I arrived not knowing what to expect, but was instantly made to feel at ease by the friendly staff and was comfortable from the word go. Booked for a group of 6. Aged in our 50s- back for a university reunion. Never played before but easy to use the electronic set up and huge fun. We all loved it. V easy to play and different game options and electronic booking made it fun. The room layout was great - you each had your own little area with your board and tables & seats which was great. The bar had a fantastic selection of drinks and also a varied cocktail menu that we all tried out. The setting was stunning too. The next day we got a surprise email with highlights & action replays from our evening- all v funny! Would definitely recommend - can you please open more locations?!

Went with work. There was 25 us in total. It’s a fantastically laid out place. The shuffle boards are all around the outside with a DJ booth and several different seating areas. The game was really good and you at any time you could switch to a different game mode and keep your score. There is a button to press on the game board for service. You just give them your order and they bring your drinks and food. We had various different pizzas which were very tasty. The waitress we had ‘Jessie’ was an absolute god send. She was very helpful and suggestive with different cocktails in order and had a brilliant smile through the whole evening. After our game we moved into the bar area and Jessie and her colleagues helped us moving food and drink across. The music was a really good mixture of old and new dance. We all had a fantastic night and will be definitely going again soon.

If you haven't yet discovered The Brunch Club, you're in for a treat! This vibrant group travels across the UK, from Cambridge to Cardiff and Lincoln to Leeds, hosting an array of themed bottomless brunch events that are sure to delight. Whether you're a fan of Taylor Swift, Disney Drag shows, or country music legends, they have something for everyone. Known for their lively atmosphere and unforgettable experiences, The Brunch Club frequently brings their exciting socials to Leeds.
Nothing short of appalling from start to finish. I am embarrassed to have suggested this event, let alone see friends having paid a whopping £50 each. As a party of eight, we were there to celebrate a birthday. Nothing advertised on the website or subsequent e-mails came close to the utter shambles this turned out to be. The “classy food menu” was stale egg and ham sandwiches, dry cut up sausage rolls, dry satay skewers (no dip), and dry mini cupcakes. I dread to think how long the food had been left out, needless to say we didn’t eat. Nor did we have any of the advertised cocktails. The staff didn’t seem bothered or interested when approached. The Disney element consisted of late Drag Queens obviously hungover and still up from the night before. While some fun elements, the whole event was disappointing. Not worth the £400 we paid as a collective. I would seriously avoid this “brunch club” as they have no idea what they’re doing, or maybe they do in providing a shoddy service, product and ripping off unsuspecting customers like us.
Thomas L — Google review
Absolute shambles of a company. Booked the ABBA brunch for my mums hen do, with 16 of us attending. The event was due to happen in April 2023. I had emailed to ask a question regarding a ticket we needed to swap, and had no response for over 10 days. I then received a text telling me the February event was cancelled??? Utterly confused at first. I tried to contact the brunch club with no avail. I then phoned Revolution, where the event was to take place, to be told they didn’t even have a date for it in the diary! Revolution phoned their contact at Viral Ventures and were told the event had been cancelled as they hadn’t sold enough tickets. After numerous contacts, I couldn’t get through to anyone for my £600 refund. Suddenly after tracking down the CEO on Facebook, and sending a strong but polite message, I suddenly got an email requesting my order number for the refund to be processed. I have now had to plan a full new hen do less than 2 weeks before the date we were supposed to be attending the brunch. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY APPALLING.

We arrived for the “Disney brunch” which was the worst £40 me and my friends have spent! I would not recommend anyone to go, please don’t waste your money! The food was another story in itself - my friend had emailed priory to specify dietary requirements for myself and my friend. When we was served our cold and dry food the waiter had said yes it’s vegetarian to which my friend replied “no I asked for the vegan option that’s what we’ve asked for we have dietary requirements” he then replied “ohhhh yes it’s vegan that’s what I meant” - Needles to say myself and my friend have now consumed dairy products as we was served a brioche bun, mayonnaise and CHEESE we felt reassured by the waiter that it was vegan however we are both poorly from consuming the food which was clearly not vegan as advised!! We questioned where the Disney aspect was? when we arrived at 11:30 there was generic music playing there was up NO Disney songs, decorations or no actors/singers in sight! Nobody from the “venue” had made us aware that the Disney package had not arrived??? Paying £40 you would not expect to be sat in your coat for the duration because it was freezing, served food you are allergic/intolerant to and to have plastic cups filled with pineapple juice and vodka? The “performers” were late and by the time they had started our group was massively underwhelmed by their performance and costumes. Our group had decided to leave at 12:30 because we had enough at this point. When we have tried to make a complaint using their email addresses they have all bounced back! All in all we are not impressed and I would strongly advise you NOT to waste your money/day.
Megan T — Google review
This is a total rip off and waste of money we paid 50 pounds each for this event. The food was awful and looked like it had been purchased from Tesco express and it was served on a tiny stand for 8 people. The sandwiches were stale and the rest of the food was dry ( as if it had been out all night). We we’re promised cocktails and the only drinks we got was Prosecco. This is such a shame as it could really be a good event.
Claire B — Google review
Waste of £45, would not encourage anyone to go. The food was poor. They changed the menu a week before the event to a very limited menu. The food came out cold, small portions and tasted horrible. The drinks given were prosecco and cocktails which were just juice. We had to wait forever to get a top up. We went to the ndubz brunch and the music did not fit the theme. They played the odd ndubz track every now and then and played more just pop music. We had to ask the dj to play more ndubz songs and when we asked him to play a particular ndubz song he said he would see if he had it! We have asked the company for a refund but have only been offered 20% off the next time we book, as if we will be booking again! The whole thing is an absolute joke.
Akshita P — Google review
Appalling company, terrible communication and like all the other reviews I would say avoid at all costs. Very quick to block you on social media when commenting on their post to get in touch, not so quick to reply to any correspondence. Save your money and go elseware. That's if your event even goes ahead, cancelled 3 days before when transport was booked and costumes bought, because they couldn't sell enough tickets. Awful company.
Kate B — Google review
Well, I went to this event today, what can I say? The previous reviews stated that there was an issue with organisation and the lack of drink provided. I have to say this wasn’t one of our issues. We arrived, people were friendly and the organisation appeared initially on point. We did however, have many other issues 1. The food was poor - cold, stale and a very small portion 2. The ‘Disney DJ’ didn’t exist. We spent 11.30-13.20 with generic party music with the excuse that the ‘Disney pack’ hadn’t arrived! Apparently Amazon Music, YouTube, Spotify, Deezer etc wouldn’t suffice?!?! 3. The drinks we did receive were ‘cocktails’ with (as we were told) Orange, pineapple and Vodka. The next guy then asked if we wanted Pineapple OR Orange. Neither of which tasted or felt like there was any alcohol in them at all. 4. On arrival you got a ‘complimentary’ bottle of Prosecco. However we, as a party of six, got 1 to share. As did the Party of 2 at the next table. When we questioned this it was 1 per booking….. fair? I think not! 5. It was FREEZING! So cold in fact, we could see our own breath! We were told that once people arrived, the doors would be closed and it would heat up, it did not. Everyone was in their coats! 6. The entertainment!!! Don’t get me wrong, they had nice voices. BUT….. they did 20 minutes (after starting late) with poor costumes and wigs, and sang random Disney songs! They then had a break and came back on and, to quote, sang songs for the ‘die hard Disney fans’ from ‘the Disney channel’. I can’t argue it wasn’t Disney, but not the ‘Disney movies / fan style music’ we were expecting. Certainly not with them in cheap cheerleader outfits! This was more suited to a child’s event and not an adults only event. It was clear to see they were finding it hard to keep smiles on their faces. We were the third table to leave halfway through the second ‘set’. They had even brought an extra ‘free’ cocktail as people were unhappy. This didn’t keep us any longer. All in all it was an embarrassment. I would not want to put my name to this!

Food well got slaw and pulled port 🤢 the slaw was basically red cabbage onion and carrot in a card board tray with a spoon of dry pork. We all paid 4 of us 40 pound each. Absolute shame on u guys disgusting and not the only one on the day to comment how appalling it was. This was a totally RIP off thanks and I will be sharing my views and experience of a very disappointing day

The Royal Armouries Museum is a captivating destination that showcases the rich history of arms and armor in a modern setting. Nestled on a revitalized 13-acre dockland site just 15 minutes from the city center, this National Museum boasts an impressive collection that dates back to the reign of Elizabeth I.
Absolutely fabulous museum, so much to do and see. So much history in this museum, with live reenactments that help children understand how it may have been in the past. Huge displays! The stairwell was epic-with swords, pikes, spears and armour. Interactive displays. Even an full sized armoured elephant and horses! A fun photo op as you enter, a chance to take your picture with a dragon, holding on to a sword as if to slay it. We plan to visit the museum again when we can take more time over the exhibits and enjoy their other live performances.

I’ve been to many museums around the world, and this is definitely one of the best. The collection is astounding and there’s so much to see, you’ll need a whole day to do it justice. It’s great for all ages and you don’t need to have a particular interest in armies or weapons to enjoy your visit. The displays are beautifully arranged. The museum is free to enter and there are multiple free shows for kids and adults alike to enjoy throughout the day. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Leeds.

Fantastic day out. Loads to see and interact with. The historic role plays are very informative. A well stocked shop has plenty of items for all ages. If you fancy a snack and drink then the cafe has it all. There is a car park very close.
Jim L — Google review
A good museum with a lot of mostly ancient and medieval arms and armour on display - best of all it's free! Took the grandkids on a half-term Saturday. A modern multi- floor building but quite difficult to find your way around (no paper maps available). Exhibits were sometimes in odd places making it easy to miss things. No clear timeline in most cases. Lots of free talks and demonstrations through the day (plus a section you had to buy a ticket for and one talk you had to pre-book). Pretty much all of the exhibits are in glass display cases which makes them very difficult to photograph due to reflections. Some are poorly lit and I found some items did not have placards leaving them a bit of a mystery. Ate in the restaurant - great food and reasonable prices, but inadequate seating and slow service, however, the museum was very busy so partly to be expected I suppose. Overall well worth a visit - I'll be back I'm sure!

I’ve been visiting the Royal Armouries in Leeds since I was a child, and it remains a timeless experience. Some of the exhibits are clearly veterans of many years, but they add to the charm of returning time and again. It’s a brilliant place for kids – the interactive displays bring history to life across different time periods without being frightening or sensationalised. One of the highlights, as always, is the magnificent elephant in its suit of armour – though I still don’t know how they manage to get it to stand so patiently all day while visitors admire it! My favourite exhibit was a temporary film and TV exhibit in 2008 which I visited with my high school history class and was able to view arms and armour from the critically acclaimed Lord of the Rings and Narnia feature films. On this visit, we enjoyed the temporary Roman Gladiator exhibition, which was well worth the small entry fee (the main museum remains free). A special mention to the kind lady at the desk who offered concession entry for NHS/Blue Light card holders – much appreciated. The museum could benefit from clearer signage, as it’s quite easy to lose oneself in the vast collection. I was a little bemused to find Steven Gerrard among the Tudor plate armour, but equally delighted to see Princess Diana represented in the peace exhibit – a thoughtful touch. The visit finished, as always, with a trip through the extensive and tempting gift shop. Overall, the Royal Armouries is a wonderful museum, full of history, surprises, and memories – well worth visiting, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth.

Have been here many times many years ago and the area around the Armouries has changed so much situated in a square sureounded by cafe and restraunts. The cafe in the Armouries had a great breakfast deal viewing of docks. The shop has great gifts too. We visited the gladiator exhibition at a small extra cost .orginal artifacts from rome & pompeii amazing to see exemplary orginals. The show was great too depicting gladiator in training The rest of the Armouries hasn't changed and still has amazing displays through out. It's still free to visit. The nearest carpark is a multi -story pay and display nearly. There are only 3 disabled spaces near coach park . You can borrow wheelchairs on site and they have four lifts .
Dawn W — Google review
When you think about it, this is five floors of various ways the human species have found to kill each other which after recent events in America feels a bit grim witnessing. However, this is history and the displays, layout and experience are exceptional. Especially given that it is free to enter the main museum and you just have to pay for the special exhibits. We went to see the Gladiator display and saw a couple of the talks on ww2 which were very interesting. Its definitely worth going to see whilst you're in Leeds.
David S — Google review
The Royal Armouries in Leeds is a fascinating place to visit, packed with exhibits that take you back through history. There’s so much to see and learn—it can easily take a few hours to explore properly. Throughout the day, there are live shows and demonstrations which are not only educational but also fun, with audience participation that really brings the experience to life. It’s an engaging place for all ages, and my son particularly enjoyed it. It’s a great day out for families, offering insight into the history and cultures of different parts of the world. One downside is the café, which is on the pricey side. You might be better off walking down the road to find something more affordable to eat. Overall, a memorable and educational trip that’s well worth the visit.

Chinese restaurant
Tattu Leeds is a stunning restaurant that pays close attention to detail, offering contemporary Chinese cuisine with a blend of traditional and modern flavors. The restaurant's design takes guests on a sensory journey from the East to the West, featuring dark woods, rich lighting, and a signature pink blossom tree. With an upcoming addition to their menu like the Char Sui Monkfish and an array of meaningful cocktails, Tattu Leeds offers a unique dining experience.
A great night out at Tattu Leeds From the moment we walked in, we were really impressed. The place looks amazing — the decoration is beautiful and the whole vibe is perfect for a nice evening out (and great for photos too!). The food was delicious, full of flavour and really well presented. But what made the whole experience even better was the service. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and they paid attention to all the little details without being over the top. Shout out to Millie, who looked after us, she was fantastic. She knew the menu really well and took the time to explain things and make sure we felt comfortable with our choices. Really appreciated how patient and helpful she was. All in all, it was a lovely experience and definitely good value for money. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to go back!

I had a wonderful lunch today with my friends and everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Our waiter Deriel was absolutely brilliant. He was friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations that made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food and outstanding hospitality. We'll definitely be coming back!
Elly L — Google review
Genuinely some of the best and friendliest service I have ever had. Front of house and the bar were very welcoming. Ryan was waiting on my table and was brilliant, offering some really good recommendations as well as some general chit chat. Food was fantastic. Scallop skewers and black pepper beef fillet my highlights. I had 2 small plates, 1 main, 1 side, dining solo. Arguably did not need the side of rice.

We visited Tattu for a pre-birthday celebration thanks to a gift card from my friends, and it turned into an unforgettable dining experience. Every dish looked like a piece of art and tasted even better – from beautifully presented starters to the incredible dessert, a cake disguised as a cotton candy tree 🍰🌸. A huge shout-out to Mostafa and Omari, who were absolutely amazing throughout the evening – friendly, professional, and really made us feel special. Their service truly elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants more than just dinner – this was a true culinary journey!
Babs B — Google review
Absolutely delicious meal from their pre 5.30 reasonable menu with some extra dishes. Pork Belly and Scallop starters were stand out and the mains were also excellent - with duck egg fried rice, something so fairly simple but a lovely accompaniment. Denise G was our attentive waitress. A perfect birthday meal. We'll be back.
Paul W — Google review
Excellent special occasion venue for our anniversary. We love Chinese and Thai food and this was of an exceptionally high quality. Service from Ryan in particular was outstanding, at the level of Michelin star with his attentiveness, description of the dishes and at all times making sure we were happy. Leave the table and the staff made sure we knew where everything was. We opted for the Signature menu which provided a brilliant selection, the duck with pancakes was incredible, the beef and salmon were perfectly cooked and the angry bird was packed with flavour, the duck fried rice was the perfect accompaniment. We will definitely return.

Great as always! There is not one thing to fault this place, steamed fish was hands down the best fish I’ve ever had! It’s also child friendly place which is a massive plus as being new parents.

Wow. I visited here with my family on a trip to Leeds and it was outstanding cuisine. We were served by a tall chap (can’t remember his name) with curtains and glasses, spoke really well, ran us through the menu and we felt well and truly looked after. He was a gem. The quality of food was just otherworldly and we all enjoyed it very much and left nothing behind. Value is also reasonable and the decor and atmosphere is beautiful. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic time! Daisy was absolutely brilliant, guiding us through the menu and making sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were spot on, especially the Hipflask Sloe-Ja, which packed great value for the price. The atmosphere was buzzing, and everything was spotless. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing vibe. Food was so good and atmosphere 10/10. Drinks were spectacular. I felt like I was in a science experiment 🧪. Gave 4 stars on the service because we got give chicken bao buns twice when we asked for plant based ones. Other than that definitely recommend!!

Me and my partner came here for a few drinks on our anniversary and had a phenomenal time! Many thanks to our server Connor he went above and beyond with providing us with the best and genuine customer service which made our experience so much greater. He answered our questions with confidence and such enthusiasm which made it a pleasure to speak to him!! The drinks were fab as well, he made sure to tell us what to do and what was and wasn’t edible in the drinks such as the French kiss. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant was spot on as well and beautiful views from the rooftop terrace.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at *The Alchemist Trinity*, and I must say, it was an experience worth remembering. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. **Food**: The food was simply fantastic! Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients that truly stood out. Whether you’re a fan of classic dishes or looking for something a bit more creative, the menu offers a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes. I was particularly impressed with the presentation of each course – it was clear the chefs take pride in their craft. **View**: What truly elevated the experience for me was the stunning view. The restaurant offers a fantastic vantage point, perfect for soaking in the surroundings while enjoying your meal. Whether you visit during the day or at night, the view adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. **Service**: The service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was just right. They made me feel welcome and comfortable, without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed ambiance of the evening. **Music & Atmosphere**: The background music was well-chosen, adding a vibrant yet laid-back feel to the restaurant. It wasn’t too loud, which allowed for easy conversation, yet it created a great mood throughout the night. The decor itself was modern yet cozy, with subtle touches that made the space feel special without being overwhelming. Overall, *The Alchemist Trinity* is a wonderful place to dine, whether you're looking for a casual evening out or celebrating a special occasion. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a captivating atmosphere makes it a spot I would highly recommend. It’s well worth the price, and I can’t wait to visit again!

Mine looked nothing like it did online, it was pretty disappointing,. . French Kiss was a lovely cocktail, although.. at no point did the bar man tell us that the tongue in it wasn’t edible!! Cue my partner swallowing it. Should probably notify guests of this. He’d had a few drinks previous to this and just presumed it was a sweet tongue covered in popping candy. We laughed when I asked and was told it wasn’t. His own fault. But a little dangerous nonetheless.

The Botanist Trinity Leeds is a trendy cocktail bar and gastropub-style restaurant located within the bustling shopping center of Trinity Leeds. The venue offers a striking interior and serves botanical cocktails alongside kebabs and brunch options. It's part of a larger complex that houses 120 outlets, including clothing and homeware stores like Urban Outfitters, Damaged Society, and Curated Makers. Additionally, Trinity Kitchen provides a rotating selection of street food vendors in an industrial-chic space.
We loved having lunch at The Botanist! We really enjoyed the meat and the dessert, but one dish stood out — the cauliflower! It was incredibly delicious! We didn’t try it this time, but we saw that there’s an option to pay a fixed fee and get unlimited drink refills — it seems like a great choice to enjoy with friends. The service was excellent, and we would definitely go back!

Fantastic food I love the Botanist unfortunately the Manchester one has shut but luckily my daughter has moved to Leeds uni. Good food on a adventurous menu I had 3 starters as a tapas, Calamari, Pork belly and Korean chicken every one was fantastic and also a good price.

I visited on Wednesday evening, and I believe our server’s name was Sam. This was my very first time dining out since having stomach surgery, so I was honestly a bit nervous. I have a lot of dietary restrictions now, and eating out can feel intimidating. From the moment Sam greeted us, he couldn’t have been more understanding or accommodating. He took the time to really listen, answered every question with patience, and made me feel completely at ease about my meal choices. It’s rare to feel so genuinely cared for in a dining experience, and I truly appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. On top of the excellent service, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I left feeling not only comfortable and safe, but also so grateful to have had such a positive first dining-out experience after surgery.

Really nice place, great drinks selection. Food menu not too large to make it difficult to choose but has something for everyone. The hot sharing platter was excellent. Decoration is nice but why call a place the botanist and then decorate it with plastic plants. I mean come on 😖
Nath S — Google review
Missed a star for atmosphere because it was a bit cramped. Went with family (grown up children) they accidentally spilt chips on my daughter (the bowl went over as they were putting it down). Well they couldn’t have been more attentive. The restaurant manager came to check on her, her meal was free and we got a free round of cocktails. Amazing customer service! The waitress was great too. Food was nice and so were the drinks

We really enjoyed our food here while shopping in The Trinity. Staff were fast and friendly. Food was tasty and we especially appreciated the two for one special on the hanging kebabs. The sides were really tasty too. There were plenty of gluten free options which I really appreciated. The drinks list is very extensive. I appreciated the variety although the cocktails were a smidge on the pricey side but that can be expected for the area.

With several locations in Leeds, IF Up North originated on Call Lane and has gained a reputation for its exceptional coffee and all-day dining menu.
We made the decision to go out for breakfast on a Sunday morning. After strolling around the city centre, we came onto this spot, and I promise you that it was the best choice we have ever made. Despite its small size, it offers fantastic stuff. The personnel is courteous, kind, and helpful. We had a delicious English breakfast that included flavourful bacon, sausage and eggs. The red velvet pancakes are a mouth- and heart-pure delight! Without a doubt, I will advise you to visit. The coffee is excellent! Excellent work!

One of the best iced mochas I’ve ever had!! There was some confusion between the oat/dairy milk but they remade the drink, wouldn’t hurt to just double check with them if you have any dietary restrictions! Great brunch place though, very tasty vegan Yorkshire breakfasts and burritos!! Oh, they also a good range of sauces (sriracha!) which is a big plus.

Came for brunch today, our waitress was absolutely lovely, super smiley and friendly. Came to see us quickly and drinks were brought hot and fresh, there was a little wait for the food but it was totally totally worth it, the steak salad was so tasty and fresh, and the breakfast burrito was 10/10! Huge portions and all cooked fresh and with care. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely returning after such an amazing first visit!
Rosanna L — Google review
We were seated quickly, which was a big plus. The coffee was really good, but the food didn’t quite meet expectations. There's definitely room for improvement on the menu side.

quite an average experience here. service was a quite slow despite only having 2-3 other tables on a slow weekday morning. atmosphere was tight but not too bothersome for me since it was not busy. bathroom needs some attention though, there was no soap and the taps were faulty. moving onto the food, it was not bad but not memorable. i went for the ‘complete if’ which came stacked with bacon, and chorizo, so you’ll love it if you love meat. perhaps a minor gripe but both the poached eggs were overcooked and not runny and the sourdough was hard and burnt in places; just expected more from a place dedicated to brunch!
Mel — Google review
I came here with my sisters and our kids around 11 a.m., and the restaurant was mostly empty with just a few people dining. I asked for a table, but the waiter didn't greet me properly and told me there wasn't much space available. I was really disappointed because we had walked about 20 minutes to get there based on someone’s recommendation. I won’t be returning. Service begins with the staff.

Seamless experience from start to finish. The team are so proactive in ensuring they anticipate your needs before you even have to ask. Food is on point for quality and reasonably priced.
