Beer hall
Bundobust Leeds is a casual craft beer bar that offers a menu of Indian street food in a laid-back setting with bare brick walls and wooden benches. The venue, a collaboration between the owner of Bradford's The Sparrow and the chef from West Yorkshire's Gujarati restaurant Prashad, boasts a street-food vibe, DIY decor, and an impressive selection of craft beers.
The food was really excellent. We got a sharing-meal for three or four people. Can’t remember exactly but there was plenty of food and lots of variety in the dishes. Would probably visit Leeds again just to go here! The tables could be a bit bigger considering so many people get sharing meals!
Keith M — Google review
I really enjoyed the flavors and creativity in the dishes, everything was tasty and well-prepared. However, I found the portion sizes a bit on the smaller side, and the seasoning was slightly heavy, especially the salt and MSG. With a few adjustments, it could be even better. Still, a unique and enjoyable dining experience overall.
Gowri S — Google review
Great experience, slightly out of the ordinary with sharing platter snad street food. Shared the vegan platter and paneer, good beer on tap as well. Would definitely recommend

“Shall we pop in here or get the next train?” Wow did we make the right choice were head No off to India in a couple of months so I joked it would be good practice. It’s actually a culinadelight of mini street food style dishes that blow ur mind. I’m a presidential member of the carnivore society but I reckon I could be very easily turned if.i lived near establishments like this. Oh yeah, cracking beers to boot 10/10.
Chris R — Google review
I really wished we lived in Leeds so we could visit more often! Every time we are in town Budobust is always top of the list of our places to visit. All the food is amazing. My favourite is the panneer tikka and my wife's is the bundo chaat. This visit was just a quick pit stop on our way for the train so just a quick snack but we will definitely be back soon!
Andy J — Google review
This place is absolutely brilliant. We moved to Leeds about six months ago, and pretty much everyone we met told us we had to try Bundobust. After finally going, we now feel a bit foolish for waiting so long!— It’s not your typical Indian restaurant. The vibe is relaxed and informal, and the food is something else — creative, exciting, and packed with flavours we’d never tried before. It’s all vegetarian (with loads of vegan options too), but trust me, you won’t miss the meat. Dishes like the Palak Koftas and Mung Bean Chatpata were total standouts. One of the best parts is that everything is designed to share, so we were able to try loads of different dishes between the three of us. The whole experience felt and different, not your standard curry night out. And if you're into beer, you're in luck — Bundobust also doubles as a great little beer spot. There’s a solid range, from crisp lagers to punchy IPAs, and even a proper bitter. My partner loved their twist on a radler — a shandy made with spiced Indian lemonade. Oh, and did I mention the value? Three of us absolutely stuffed ourselves (with drinks!) for £20 a head. Can’t argue with that. Bottom line: if you’re in Leeds and haven’t been to Bundobust yet, don’t wait like we did — just go.
Matt O — Google review
This is a find for me First time visitor to Leeds and was recommended this is nice and cheap So walked in and basically jt js branded as street food but I don’t think I have been to any part of india where some of there are sold as steeet food You pick a table and walk in and order and some food is cheap and place is full of students so I felt out The food tasted ok and I like the atmosphere Maybe as a place to try and whilst this is a vegetarian place it is ok I may not go again there
Sonny C — Google review
Absolute garbage food. But then again I am not a vegan. If you are and this is what you eat, bless you. We went as a group so wasn't bothered about the food, I was there for the chats, we did order but it was horrible food. Very pricey too, you'd think that the price would be for the value

Falafel Guys is a popular eatery in Leeds known for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious Middle Eastern street food. Originally a street food stall, it has now found a permanent home in Assembly Underground. The menu features a variety of options including meat and veggie falafel wraps, salad bowls, chicken shawarma, halloumi wraps, and mezze options.
Visited Falafel Guys in the Northern Markets and it did not disappoint! Lovely food and even better service. Staff are so lovely and welcoming. The Falafel and Halloumi is their best-seller for a reason! Definitely my new go-to in Leeds :) 5 out of 5.
Aaminah F — Google review
Today was my first time trying falafel guys and I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be visiting again! I usually find falafel to be hit and miss, but these were the best I’ve ever had - they make, press and cook them right in front of you. These had a nice crispy crust that I’ve not had before. I ordered the Falafel and Halloumi salad box which cost £6. The portion sizes were really perfect - very filling but no food wastage either. My only downside it that they didn’t offer me a pickled chilli (but I very easily could have asked for one so that’s very minor). The service was excellent, they were very friendly and chatty but also fast so I didn’t wait long (4 mins max). They gave me a loyalty card and generously gave me 4 stamps! I would love it if there was a place that I could eat closer to there so I could have the falafel fresh off the press and meet up with friends there at lunch (as my office is 20 mins away) however with the location that isn’t doable so I’ll likely be trying their northern market stall. In summary, the food was excellent. I’ll be going back with friends and family. The pricing is really reasonable with good portion sizes. The perfect treat lunch!
Issy C — Google review
Unfortunately it was not good experience. The guy was slicing the vegies out of the box to the container all at one place with no cleaning or washing. The status of trailer is not represent full and the quality of the food is low. The falafel are fried in old oil, its too obvious. The sauces are mediocre and the bread was not fresh. I dont know but this was my experience, i know falafel the proper way of Egypt, syria, lebanon.. So unfortunately this one was beyond below the bar. Am sorry i know they might be doing thier job and living but the standards are too low The staff was mice patient and helpful.
Nossor B — Google review
My go-to lunch spot for the best freshly made falafel in the area combined with fresh salads and tasty hummus. Wraps, salad bowls, great halloumi and tasty chicken too all with pleasant service and keen prices. Don't be put off by the basic old caravan setup, it works... and if that's not for you they have two other locations in the city.
Michael — Google review
I ordered the falafel and chicken shawarma wrap. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh and delicious especially the falafel and sauce were very tasty. However I do feel like there was not much chicken in the wrap at all. The chicken was also a little dry and under seasoned, even though it was fresh, it didn’t taste like shawarma style chicken That said it was still very delicious overall and I’ll definitely go back here when I want falafel

Best falafel wrap in Leeds ❤️ Vj is the best, he makes you feel welcomed and explains all the ingredients with a smile on his face. The portion is generous and the food is fresh, definitely recommend ❤️🥰

With unlimited pints of Coors and free-flowing poached pear spritzes, guests can enjoy a range of options from full English breakfast to 8oz rump steak or Thai red chicken curry.
Just had a fabulous food experience here. We were looked after very well by Amli. The seasoning was just perfect. The Korean burger and the bang bang chicken fried rice was just amazing. We had potato croquettes for starters and they were outstanding too. Will definitely be going again and maybe ordering the exact same things.

The perfect location for a Baby Shower! We reserved the beautiful function room upstairs and enjoyed a fantastic buffet. It comfortably fit 20 people and everyone complimented the venue choice. Excellent service and communication throughout. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

BANYAN 2025 BOTTOMLESS SUPPERCLUB (AFTER 3PM) 9 ladies wined and dined here on Saturday evening. We were well looked after. The prosecco was flowing and so were the other drinks although we all said that we felt that the drinks were watered down. Food was excellent and very tasty. £41.95 wasn't really a bad price considering whst we had to drink. Staff were lovely and looked after us we. Unfortunately the music left little to be desired. The dance floor was mostly empty and that's a real sign for the dj to change the music. All in all we had a great time.

Popped in today to have a Sunday roast. It was lovely, you get a large portion, I opted for beef, you get red cabbage, parsnips, carrots Yorkshire puddings, loads of roast potatoes, broccoli and unlimited gravy. Cost was around £21.50. knocked a star off due to the beef being overdone. But would recommend. The Guinness was spot on.

Can not give the manager Kieran and our server Carrie enough praise. We had less than an hour before our train and they made sure we had food and drinks with time to spare. Service and efficiency 10/10. Although it was really busy. No member of staff looked flustered or struggling. From what I saw , it was good management of staff and everyone working as a team.

This was a superb joint for lunch, with a make it as you order model where the staff added the dressings I requested while walking along! The rice bowl with beef was tasty and fresh, accompanied by a cheap naan bread too.

This place delivers an explosion of taste in every bite, with their signature naan rolls and rice bowls packed full of fresh, authentic Indian-inspired ingredients. The lady who served us had zero to non enthusiasm to do this work and serve us food, which then she messed up completely. There was only the pair of us, she still managed to mix up the orders completely. Food was nice tho, the part we could enjoy at least...

Lucky enough to win a lucky draw from Monopoly, can enjoy the half price Nann roll. I choose +£1 Lamb meat, and it is served with some vegetables, sauce, the taste overall is not bad, just the Nann bit hard

The food tastes great, is good for you and leaves you feeling full. My favourite is the butter chicken cauli rice bowl and the tacos! I visit at least once a week. Sociable Folk is a vibrant cafe located in the bustling business hub of Leeds. It offers a modern, light-filled space where visitors can enjoy a menu featuring coffee shop beverages, light fare, beer, and wine. The Bang Bang Vegan Salad is one of their signature dishes, featuring a superfood salad base with quinoa, avocado, roasted sweet potato, beetroot, peas, falafel balls, spicy chickpeas and silky hummus drizzled with vegan mint yogurt.
Always very busy but usually able to find a seat inside, only been in winter but plenty of places to sit out in the square too. Good vegetarian options on the menu & there are healthier alternatives to a sandwich which are still tasty. Whilst there's often a big queue waiting for take-out orders, they are usually served up quickly

Working in Wellington Place for a long time but I haven't tried it before. Though it looks busy all the time. The food was nice and tasty, it was a big portion and we swapt one each. Impressed with spanish latte as well. Thanks and will be returning 💕

Really disappointed to order a £5 smoothie that was 80% concentrate apple juice and a frozen berry mix. The ingredients were supposed to be Banana, Blueberry, courgette & ginger. I saw the staff make the drink and thought surely that’s not the smoothie I just ordered- if I had not have seen then I wouldn’t have known. No where does it say it’s an apple juice base, hopefully no one orders the smoothies that is allergic. At £5 that is a gross miss sell, when you order something you trust it has the same fresh ingredients. They did swap it for a coffee with no refund of the difference -feel a bit stung!

Situated in Wellington Place, this is one the best food joints around. Perfect place to hang out with colleagues or enjoy a quick snack or a brunch. Wraps are delicious. I also had the Lotus Biscoff Coffee and it was super silky in taste. Must try!

It is one of the best cafes in Leeds. I am in love with the honey nut crunch! The cakes were delicious as well. The fat white is one if the good choices. However, they offer different choices, including healthy choices. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are very friendly. They have outdoor seating, which is nice during the sunny days 👍🏻. Not to mention that they offer free wifi for their customers (ask the staff for the password). Highly recommended 👍🏻!

Not very social folk AT ALL. - It Looked like a nice place and seemed to have a good food and coffee offering. Sadly the experience was awful. Despite it being lunch-time pretty much half the menu was not available. I decided to go get a boring Pret sandwich and then come back to get what looked like a nicer coffee here at Social Folk. I ordered a hot chocolate and a pastry. Given i’d just spent the better part of a tenner on a drink and snack, I assumed consuming the Pret sandwich on-site would be ok, how wrong was I. I even asked if it was ok out of curtesy but was bluntly told no as though I’d asked to take a dump in middle of the shop. The rather bland dark hot chocolate was given to me in a takeaway cup, no doubt that saves the lazy rude woman some washing up. AVOID.

Fantastic food, flavours i've never experienced before. Excellent service. Upstairs can be a bit loud with large groups dining, conversation was difficult at times but didn't spoil our enjoyment of a wonderful meal. Next time i'll request a quieter table downstairs though.

What an amazing experience. I loved the food so much, some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten! The vegan options are really good- their take on poppadoms are so tasty and the fried lentil rings are unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Can’t wait to go back!

We went here for the first time after contemplating for long but oh my, the food was top level👌👌 We ordered two Kerala parathas, Meen Kootan, Kozhi Kurumulog(Chef’s Special) and it was more than enough for three people. I personally loved Chef’s special more than Meen Kootan but my friends really loved Meen Kootan. We also ordered mango lassi and Pranaya Rasam(strawberries with lime) and I really loved the fresh strawberries taste in it instead of having some syrupy taste to it. Service was so good, the people over there are so smiling, very sweet, and a person named Roni served us and he was so friendly and very attentive. Would recommend going again as well. Thank you.

Came here on a friends recommendation and no regrets! The service was friendly and prompt, even seating is earlier than we had booked due to heavy rain outside which was nice! The food was excellent, every mouthful just made me smile, I had the seafood curry and it was spot on. Certainly be back! My only quibble was the seating we had was near the toilets and the washroom for pots, quite noisy and busy with staff moving in and out.

Amazing staff! Even though the place was packed with customers, everyone was attended to with such genuine smiles and great energy. As for the food , I don’t even need to say much! Visited on a bustling Monday, and it’s easy to see why it was packed! The authentic Kerala cuisine was absolutely phenomenal, with a spice blend that brought incredible depth and flavour to every dish. While it’s not the cheapest, the quality makes it worth every penny. Highly recommend for a true taste of Kerala, definitely different from the mainstream.

tharavadu in leeds is a south indian restaurant specialising in dishes from kerala. it’s a great spot if you’re looking for something different from the usual north indian or pakistani/punjabi style cuisine you normally find in the uk. we tried chilli paneer, kerala kozhi curry, kozhi kurumulag, vazhuthananga curry, and paper masala dosa. overall, it was great. i really enjoyed trying proper kerala dishes. the curries were delicious though i felt there wasn’t a huge amount of variation between them, all with a similar coconut taste. the cocktails and drinks were very good, and the service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and helpful. coined the “best restaurant in leeds”. a very grand statement to make, especially as leeds is full of amazing spots. however i do believe that tharavadu is definitely up there with the greats of leeds. i really recommend you go and see for yourself.

Tasty food and large portions for a reasonable price. We all opted for the falafel filled pita with water and green teas. Friendly service and great location. Will definitely return soon.

Had a great vegan snack here. Not my first time eating falafels and hummus but the sauces and pickles added to the sandwich really made it delicious. Staff helpful, food was fresh. No reason not to give five stars here. Picture included

In retrospect I should’ve chosen the hummus with just falafel instead of the mix but it was lovely nonetheless to sit in the exchange square and indulge in some good, vegan food.

Really fresh food, great service and a great option for a quick lunch in Leeds. The hummus bowl is my favourite!

Buffet restaurant
Aagrah Leeds City is a contemporary chain restaurant offering traditional regional dishes from India and Pakistan. The restaurant features an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays and Mondays, showcasing a variety of Indian favorites such as seekh kebabs, gosht balti, lamb nihari, and chicken makhani. With multiple locations in Leeds, Aagrah is known for its exceptional dining experience with a delicious menu and friendly staff.
The atmosphere was calm, cool and welcoming. The welcome we received from all staff was everything, I absolutely loved it. The food was great, you can eat as much as you want for less. I particularly loved the rice, chicken and the fish. The dessert was complimentary for us and unfortunately I don’t know the name but I tell you the best was saved for the last because I loved it (you can check my pictures for the dessert). You have to pay extra for your drinks. It was a really lovely time there and I’d definitely be visiting again. I recommend! You may book for a group as large as 10, we all had a lovely evening. Food is halal (for Muslims)
Kehinde D — Google review
A real disappointment. Chicken tikka starter was dry and lacked flavour. Masala fish lacked any flavour and small amount. Butter chicken was nothing like butter chicken and was far too spicy when we asked for medium. Lamb karahi was poor, meat tasted like it had not been cooked in the sauce and lacked salt. Egg rice was fairly good. Poppadom pickle tray chutneys were not pleasant or fresh or presented well. No one wants whole spices in mango chutney just normal restaurant style is fine. Staff ganged up in one corner and chatted and laughed amongst themselves, unprofessional and unpleasant atmosphere. I know this sounds crazy but Leeds and Bradford both struggle to actually have good Indian restaurants for some reason. I thought aagrah would be better than most due to fancy looks and higher prices. I was wrong. Sheepscar and Nawaab Tong are probably the best.

Came here with 3 of my friends. Bought chicken wings which was off , asked for kebabs they didn’t have it and got prawns instead which was half cooked. Wasn’t expecting this. Main course was bad aswell. Please change the chef .

We thought we’d give this restaurant a try as we normally go to Bengal Brasserie when we visit Leeds . We’re really pleased we tried it as the customer service was excellent . We were allowed to relax and enjoy our whole night . The timings of the poppadoms , starters and main courses were all perfect . We were allowed to enjoy each course without feeling rushed and too full . The food was delicious, and there’s such a big choice on the menu . Lovely restaurant surroundings too . We will definitely be back next time we’re in Leeds.

Great food, never had a bad meal. The staff are really friendly, great service. We go at least once a month to Leeds City Centre, last night there was an 80th birthday celebration & there were some guys playing dholaks & dancing, it was lovely.

Great atmosphere and service, very friendly, the food came in pretty quick.. food was nice just lacked a little more oomph and flavour otherwise a nice evening- ..(almost forgot to mention they charged service charge, not too happy)!!

This is the first time I went to this restaurant with my family and it was very disappointing experience. The food was not nice, not properly cooked. We ordered chicken palak, lamb karahi, butter chicken, none of them was tasty, and portions were small and pricey. Briyani not properly cooked either. Dessert was the same, didn't enjoy at all. The only shami kebab was nice and tandoori roti as well. From six of us nobody enjoyed it. We spent £140. Will never go again there.

This place is amazing! If you are looking for a relaxing, cozy atmosphere and great British dishes, this is the one. Delicious and delightful. It feels incredible to go to a restaurant and not have to worry about getting glutened. Charming atmosphere too. We had the vegan lasagna and the gnocchi. Both sublime. Even the vegan cheesecake was wonderful. Wish I lived closer!

A coeliacs dream! We ate as a party of four people. Every course was delicious. It was so nice to eat out and not have the nerves about if you were going to be ill. The veg tempura & baked mozzarella were delicious. All the portion sizes were great. Definitely recommend this place if you are gluten free. The cheesecake was probably one of the nicest desserts I’ve ever had.

Absolutely AMAZING restaurant. Probably one of the very best in Leeds. A small, intimate restaurant where you immediately feel at home. The food is sublime, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Absolutely everything on the menu is gluten free which means my friend who is a coeliac can choose anything! This is indeed a rarity! For none glutens you would never guess this was the case! Definitely my favourite restaurant in Leeds. FABULOUS ❤️

We had a wonderful time. Even the gluten eater amongst us was very impressed by the thin yet crispy batter on the fish. Everything was perfectly cooked and despite feeling very full we all had dessert. The sticky toffee pudding and the tiramisu were both amazing. Very friendly staff and would highly recommend :)

Lovely good, lovely people lovely place. Really glad I found this small place. Despite the good being great the portions where huge (fish in particular) and the duck and Yorkshire pudding whole unusual was lovely. My only complain is the start options are a bit lacking but the main and desserts more then make up for it Will be going again and recommending to others

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Been going for years and it’s my favourite restaurant EVER! The staff are soooo lovely, the food is outstanding and last night was no exception. In fact I would say it was the best we have had there and that’s saying something. We had the sharing platter for two and everything on there was yummy it included satay chicken, pork wantons, corn cakes, spring rolls, fish cakes and the star on the plate for me was the ever so lightly battered and very crispy king prawn. My parter had the chicken yellow curry with jasmine rice and I had the Gra Paw Moo Sub with a fried egg on top with jasmine rice. I did ask to have the chilli level down one as two chilli dishes for me are a little too hot and they didn’t disappoint. Oh my word! Amazing! This is a little gem of a restaurant and one that I like to keep a secret all to myself but I just had to write a review after last night. It’s situated on York place down some steep steps and once in the staff greet you politely and are very attentive. I have never had bad or even mediocre service here nor have I ever had a bad or mediocre food. From me this restaurant comes more than highly recommended. But don’t tell too many people or I won’t be able to book in next time!!! X

Been here a few times now and it is fantastic. Great options for lunch and evening, food is packed with flavour, good portion sizes too. Waitresses are really friendly and food is served quickly. Tamarind duck has become a personal favourite, the pork dumplings and fish cakes for starters also have a personal recommendation.

Visited this amazing restaurant on a Friday night without a booking but the owner managed to squeeze us in. This restaurant serves some of the best Thai food in Leeds! The Massaman Curry was delicious, and the Khao Soi was great. The staff were attentive and patient, given such a busy service, and the atmosphere was bustling. Restaurant
Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant known for its specialty, pho noodle soup, and a variety of classic Vietnamese dishes like curries, rice bowls, noodles, and salads. The chain is popular among gluten-free diners as it offers many gluten-free options and is accredited by Coeliac UK. With a focus on great value in terms of both money and flavor, Pho has been serving healthy Vietnamese street food since 2005.
PHO in Trinity kitchen in Leeds city Center is a delight . We had vegetarian tofu spice noodle soup , chicken fried rice and stir fry noodles. All them were top in taste. Since this is a food court the seating can be tricky depending on the day and time. Will surely visit them again.

This is honestly the best Vietnamese food place in Leeds (2024). I’ve been to this places more than I’d like to admit. The food never disappoints. My go-to is the spicy beef brisket curry, summer rolls (prawns), and the crispy calamari. Their fresh juices are also so delicious. The staff are very friendly and efficient.
Space D — Google review
The pho was absolutely delicious – rich in flavour and very comforting. The portion size was generous, and I actually finished the whole bowl, including the soup. That rarely happens! I also ordered the Garlic Spicy Morning Glory, and it was such a highlight. Full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of spice. I’d highly recommend giving it a try. The service was excellent too. The staff were really friendly and patient, and took the time to explain the dishes to us.

One of the permanent stalls in Trinity Kitchen, and my first stop for dinner. I love vietnamese food and was very happy to see they had some here. I had the chicken and shrimp rice, which was very good, and came with soy sauce. For a decent size portion it was under £10, so would definitely get it again!

Amazing broth, delicious. Nice plate in genral with representation. But the chicken, the chicken, then chicken THE CHICKEN. If you dont season the chicken correctly to get rid of that smell of fridge then your food is ruined. Sadly the chixken tasted bad
Nossor B — Google review
Extremely underwhelming. Can't recall the last time I felt so disappointed after ordering food. Arrived at 11.20 to be told not taking orders before 11.30 even though website states opens at 11am. Didn't have any rice bowls which is why I went. 20 minutes after ordering my order was ready. Don't understand what took so long when everything I ordered would take literally 2 minutes to cook or just need 'plating up'. Glad it wasn't busy. Baby Squid was cooked nicely (crispy coating and tender squid) but the baby Squid was also a baby portion for >£6. Chinese leaf was also a tiny portion (about 2 leaves chopped into tiny pieces) for >£4 and was swimming in the saltiest, cheapest tasting soy sauce. Beef brisket Pho - the soup base had some flavour but was far from amazing yet the beef itself somehow was devoid of taste. Overall I could have made it better myself for 2 people for half the price. I wouldn't recommend and won't return. Lesson learned.
Adam R — Google review
The food here was amazing and we really enjoyed, having just the perfect blend of spices and flavours. The staff were also extremely friendly and sweet, giving us a 50% discount when they noticed my pho t-shirt. Enjoyed eating here a lot and would definitely come again 10 times out of 10.

Situated next to their roastery, you can try two espressos each as well as one expertly-made filter coffee. There are also loose tea, craft beers and cocktails on offer. A gem in Leeds Dock, North Star will have pancakes for the February 13th day only!
Great little coffee place in Leeds dock. Good coffee and a small menu of breakfast, brunch and excellent cakes. The sausage and egg sandwich was amazing, the cakes were great too. They also sell their own coffee beans. Not the cheapest place but the quality is very good and you get what you pay for!

The staff were lovely and the space was clean. The vibe was good and the coffee was of a good high quality. The coffee shop also has a mini store area where you can purchase beans, T-shirts and some cool looking tote bags. The coffee is priced as a normal high quality coffee is nowadays, but the portion sizes are on the smaller size - (I had taken a couple sips out of my glass in the photo provided!). I tried the last slice of the tiramisu tart, which was a little different! Similar to a treacle tart with some cream on top. This was nice! Good location on the docks, near the library boat and the Royal Armouries.

I tried two different coffees here, both being made as a long black. They were the Astro house blend and a Mexican sierra Mazateca variety. They were both really nice. The house blend was chocolaty with a slight citrus angle, while the Mexican bean had a more apple and nutty taste. Both different but both very nice. Highly recommended.

Bar & grill
The Good Luck Club, located in Leeds' Wellington Place, draws inspiration from the bar and grills of New York City. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring chargrilled dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. Guests can customize their meals by choosing from options like flatbreads, salads, burgers, or bowls topped with items from the charcoal grill. From breakfast to early evening, patrons can enjoy a variety of offerings including smoked salmon fillet salad and grilled meats cooked in a charcoal oven.
Held an engagement party here for 80 guests on a Saturday when the venue is usually closed. Stuart the manager was more than helpful when we first ate here to look at the venue and the buffet menu options for the party included the burger and chicken skewers that we ate that lunchtime (sadly no one got any good photos). In the lead up to the event he was more than accommodating to our bespoke requests and then on the day/evening of the party, the assistant manager Lauren looked after us and she was a superstar. Nothing was too much for her and all the guests were raving about the food, the service from the staff and the great vibe. It's away from the main city centre too, so you get the whole venue to yourself and no hassle from the usual Saturday night crowd in town. Would 100% recommend for the food during the week and also 100% recommend if you are looking to host an event for up to 100 people in Leeds.

I like bought if give it one more try to get the burger as succulent as it was on my first visit. Alas, it was well-done, not medium and falling apart as I would have loved it to be. Great place to eat for your lunch break! Make sure to book in advance and pre-order your food if you want to eat during lunch hours. I had the lucky chicken burger, fries and a ginger ale (if you like strong ginger ale, I would give this one a pass). The staff and service were great and the food was lovely. The staff were very helpful and competent when it came to dietary restrictions and allergies. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try any deserts, but the options sounded delicious. I was with a group smaller than 6, so there was no service charge (don't be afraid to tip). Overall, it was a great place to eat at and my meal/drink cost £14.75.

Had a great evening at The Good Luck Club last night. Late booking of 11 that Stuart, manager, was extremely accommodating in squeezing is in. The restaurant is a lovely environment with open kitchen, with the kitchen team the epitome of coordinated! We were lucky to be waited on by Chelsea who was nothing short of brilliant and professional. Would recommend to all, but advise booking as it is a busy and great experience. Congratulations Stuart and team, hoping to visit again!

Itsu is a counter-service and takeaway chain in Leeds, offering sushi, salads, and noodle dishes. This Japanese fast-food restaurant specializes in serving quick and nutritious sushi. Their veggie club rolls are filled with carrot, green beans, and ginger to provide a vitamin boost. The Omega 3 box contains protein-rich salmon rolls paired with a pumpkin seed salad for an antioxidant kick. Each dish is handcrafted to ensure it looks as good as it tastes.
I must be the only person who's not experienced Itsu before my visit to Leeds. I popped into here for a quick lunch while taking in some of the sites around Leeds City Centre. What a brilliant and easy alternative to fast food. I would pick this over a Mcdonald or KFC any day. The only thing I would like to see that would make the experience any better would be the removal of all plastic in the packaging! Other than that, this is definitely something to put on your lunchtime or dinner list as the food was 5star and very reasonably priced

I recently dined at itsu restaurant, and the overall experience was a mixed bag. The ambience was delightful, creating a pleasant atmosphere for the meal. However, I found the portion sizes to be a bit lacking, leaving me wanting more. The taste of the sushi was decent, but it didn't quite reach the level of excellence I was hoping for. While the ambiance contributed positively to the dining experience, improvements in portion size and flavor could elevate the overall satisfaction.

Genuinely the worst of this kind of food I've had in the UK. The duck steamed bun was so dry and leathery I had 2 bites and left it. And the chicken teriyaki was lukewarm and gristly. Tucked away from the main food stalls and to the left of the “Teapot tea or coffee ltd” Lovely cheap food that is hearty, flavourful and spicy. The chicken plate came with hummus, salad, rice or chips and bread. This also comes with a hot drink, I got mint tea. All for £8.50. Seating outside available too :)

Absolutely fantastic! Unique flavors cooked to perfection! Lovely server (too bad didnt ask his name) bread was fresh tasted 10/10. Enjoyed every bit of Tunisian plate in chicken and paprika chicken wrap with halloumi.. definitely visiting again (and again and again) ^_^

Just around the corner from the main food court but still in the market. Sweet Saeeda is an absolute treat for anyone looking for super fresh, flavour-packed, Tunisian food. It's years since I've been to Tunisia but I don't remember ever eating anything this amazing when I was there. The range of items is really good and I can wait to try more but I had a Chicken Tunisian Plate this time which offers fantastic value at £8.50. An assortment of crisp salad items, chickpeas, olives, hummus, mechouia, beautifully marinated and fresh cooked chicken, fresh bread and an assortment of sauces that includes an umami-packed chilli one that's awesome. The lemon wedge adds yet another flavour layer. You also get a drink of your choice. Service is friendly and fast and there's a couple of tables right outside if you don't want to spend ages trying to find one that needs wiping in the main hall. You also get served on beautiful plates too. All the food other people were buying looked equally mouthwatering, I can't wait to go back.

Extraordinary crispy Tunisian Brik with chill sauce and a salted chilli pepper. I like it and would recommend friends. Lovely! The chilli sauce is a bit spicy with a kick. Chilli pepper open your appetite. Tunisian Brik with chilli sauce is like the Spring Roll of Cantonese Dim Sum, but is with a mesh of meat, potato, cheese and spices like parlsey. I chose the lamb and I would say not bad. The favour of the potato with cheese is like a Cantonese dishes of steamed tofu meshed with meat (老少平安). The taste is good if you are used to the spices As I see, the seats are not many and just outside the shop. But they will serve you with beautiful dishes if you sit-in. Good to try sit-in if you don't mind. £5 above you can pay by card, or you may add one more drink or water.

We absolutely love coming to Sweet Saeeda for lunch in Leeds, we’ve been going for about 3 years now. The Tunisian plate (pictured) is amazing so much lovely food for such great value. And the owner is always so friendly and kind! Highly recommend ☺️

Ordered a fallafel and a lamb portion wrapped in Tunisian bread and really couldn't be more impressed! The preparation took very little time and the taste was really nice, particularly for the lamb sandwich/mini-bagguete. I'll make sure to go again and already recommended it to someone else!

If you're in search of a delightful and budget-friendly breakfast or lunch, look no further than Sesame Cafe & Sandwich. This charming spot offers a fantastic salad and rice bar where you can customize your meal with an array of vegetarian options. For those on the go, their noodle pots are a refreshing alternative to traditional sandwiches, featuring flavors like spicy chicken and teriyaki salmon paired with thick udon noodles. The cafe also serves halal chicken dishes, making it an excellent choice for anyone working in central Leeds.
It’s Tuesday morning, so I tried the giant special falafel wrap. It was perfect. The place was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly.

Halal chicken, which is perfect when working in central Leeds. I got the Thursday special (there's a queue system for the specials, you just give your initials and pay), and within 10 ish mins, I had a hot chicken schnitzel sandwich! £7.90 when you choose to add cheese, hot juicy chicken, and it's kept me full all day, (had a decent amount of salad in too). My colleague visited the Sesame salad bar opposite and demolished her salad too. Highly recommend for a healthy, easy and balanced lunch.
MMM 1 — Google review
This was was absolutely buzzing for their daily special. Once you have placed your order expect to wait for a while. You get to watch them freshly make and compile 100s of specials which seems a well oiled machine. After tasting the sandwich you can understand why it's so busy. 10/10, crispy juicy snitzel and full of flavour. Tasty and great value for money.

Absolutely fantastic healthy food with plenty options to choose from! And so tasty oh my god! Even the broc is better cooked than how i cook it. The ladies were helpful and very friendly which is much appreciated as i walked in there for the first time today!

The system inside is very hectic and confusing, and it’s so loud and hard to hear the staff but they’re very friendly and the food is delicious! Prices are fair too! I am making my way through their extensive vegetarian sandwich selection but the salad bar looks amazing too!
Miss P — Google review
Very easy to find this hidden gem as the delicious fragrant fresh foods guide you by the nose right to the door! Immediately you are over the threshold you are greeted by warm and welcoming smiles and fabulous smells and vibrant dishes being served. Everything is fresh, well balanced and delicious! From the coffee, to the amazing choice of salads, the schnitzel and falafel, the raspberry and chocolate brownies are irresistible. The portion sizes are generous and the staff cannot do enough to make you feel valued and welcome. A pleasure from start to finish. The big surprise with Sesame is the prices, extremely reasonable! A coffee for £2.20 and a filling lunch from £3.50. Sesame wins our vote! We are both well travelled foodies, eating out frequently, rarely do you find this kind of quality! Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! 20/10!

Easily the best falafel hands down in Leeds or that I’ve ever eaten. Great service, always friendly and polite. I can’t recommend it enough especially for £3 a portion with mango sauce, even better on special day too 🤤🤤 Sincerely Mr Falafel

FINT is a charming restaurant and bar located in the northern part of Leeds, offering a delightful blend of Nordic-inspired cuisine. The eatery prides itself on serving organic and seasonal dishes with a Scandinavian twist. With a focus on brunch and daytime dining, FINT presents an array of delectable options such as homemade crumpets, salmon gravadlax, pork belly Bokkeumbap, gnocchi with cashew cream, and truffled cauliflower soup.
Came for a quick coffee and was seated by the lovely server named Reece. Had a mocha and the crumpets and would definitely come back. Service was quick and the server was lovely to chat too. Will definitely be coming back
Iona B — Google review
I've never had such poor service. We ordered drinks, which we waited on for over 15mins, when we asked the bottle was just left on the bar for all this time. The staff all seemed to have smoked a large joint beforehand as they were so relaxed and quiet frankly didn't care. 20mins after placing our food order, the waiter came back and said they didn't have the dish in a casual tone, they didn't even provide a menu for us to look over to choose something else and no apology whatsoever. When we asked them to get one they huffed and returned, we had to prompt them to see if anything else wasn't available. We then ordered again and waited around another 25mins. When the food finally came, it was lovely. But, we hadn't even finished and a waiter came over to tell us they are bringing the bill as they close now... No choice for desert or anything. Staff were also eating in the restaurant on shift and went out to smoke in the front of the building for everyone to see. A real shame. If you don't mind poor service (which is automatically added to you bill btw), the food is lovely.
Faye W — Google review
First time visiting, very disappointing experience all around. Even though we had a table booked, service was slow, it felt like they were avoiding us, not checking in, not making eye contact. Very little interaction from the front of house staff who were clearly struggling to manage the volume of people they had seated. When our coffees finally came we were not provided sugar or a spoon to stir with. After waiting for my friend's drink for over 45 mins we were finally told after chasing that they don't actually have the ingredients for a green smoothie and should have been told, which obviously we have not been. The replacement drink came in a broken cup which is a health and safety hazard and I'm sure not okay to do so under any circumstances. The kitchen was an hour behind on orders but again we received no communication from the staff regarding this. The table next to us who arrived later started receiving bits of their order before us. The pancakes one of my friends ordered came separately 20 mins before the rest of our orders and again not provided cutlery, had to chase staff for it. When we finally received the rest of the food, we ordered 3 FINT breakfasts all 3 of the plates looked different and contained different things. Bits missing from one, doubles of other stuff on others completely inconsistent and annoying. The sausage was burnt, the bacon was a bit under done, poched egg over cooked, complete inconsistency with who's got what kind of bread. Whatever was missing they tried to make up for it in the number of crumpets. I'm sure a food is lovely when it's a normal day and not struggling with orders but this was our experience unfortunately. The whole experience left us very disappointed and we did end up asking for the food to be comped off the bill, which they did without argument.
Eszter I — Google review
Visited for the first time and it was very disappointing. The service was awful, very cold and the waiter seemed too bored to do their job. The food mediocre. Not worth the money. When the drinks arrived they served us a bottle of cold water which when I poured water in my glass had a strange thing inside like mold (not very obvious in photo it was a clear mass with black in the middle) I assumed it is from a fridge/freezer water dispenser or something similar, we’ve told the waiter and didn’t charge us our drinks for the inconvenience, but honestly it didn’t make much of a difference as it is quite dangerous and seems they don’t clean properly. I won’t be returning.
Emma K — Google review
This was such a great place, food was amazing. Staff we so accommodating, only complaint was that it wasn’t busier! Admittedly it was 1pm on a Tuesday!
Mac A — Google review
We’ve been to Fint before (Oct 2023), and last time, I had what was easily my favourite breakfast ever. So, we were really looking forward to going back, but honestly, it was such a disappointment. Every element of the breakfast was subpar. The sausage tasted like Quorn rather than the delicious, unique one I had last time, the egg was overcooked and dry, the mushrooms were absolutely inedible because they were so heavy on the aniseed, and the beans were somehow both watery and dry. The toast was low quality, and the potato pancake, which was previously light and crispy, was just greasy stodge. On top of that, the service wasn’t great, and it really feels like the whole place has gone downhill. It seems like they’ve swapped out all their high-quality ingredients for cheap alternatives but kept the same (very high) prices. It’s such a shame because we loved it before, but after this experience, we won’t be returning. The first two photos are today compared to the same meal around 1.5 years ago.

We got the nutella pancakes and sourdough french toast, they were very tasty! The café is quite creative with the menu and it works! Great atmosphere and service as well :)
Naval R — Google review
We were disappointed by Fint. We booked a table for 10:30 on a Saturday and just got the vibe that nobody could be bothered. Some of the menu items were unavailable despite it being half empty and when we asked if something could be slightly amended we were told “no it’s pre prepared”. The food wasn’t spectacular and the eggs were overcooked in my opinion. We also noticed that there were some grotty patches such as dust on the bar and LOTS of dust in the loos.

Eat Your Greens is a versatile establishment that operates as both a grocery store and a restaurant with a wine bar. During the day, it functions as a greengrocer offering organic produce and gifting items from local suppliers. At night, it transforms into an eatery serving up delectable dishes made from largely organic ingredients.
Calm atmosphere, friendly staff, and genuinely some of the best vegan dishes I've had in some time. While the price point is higher than I usually go for, the vegan options on the menu (around 80%) were well worth the price. I highly recommend the Farinata, the Greens, and the pecan pie. I'll say it again - make sure to leave room for the pecan pie. Beautifully presented and absolutely delightful.

Love, love, love. One of my favourite places in Leeds that keeps me coming back again and again. The food never misses - it's interesting, delicious, different, beautifully balanced and cooked to perfection. Absolutely worth the price. The atmosphere is spot on: warm, relaxed, with great music (always 🤌🏼) and the service is even better. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know how exhausting it can be dealing with the public, but the team here always comes across as genuine and kind. They offer honest recommendations and genuinely seem to want you to have the best experience. I honestly can't recommend Eat Your Greens enough. Whether you're visiting Leeds or you're a local - go. You won't be disappointed.

This is a fantastic restaurant and bar. We turned up one night for food without booking, and even though they were full, they kindly sat us at the bar, and proceeded to efficiently serve us a series of wonderfully tasty plates of food and drinks. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the place had a lovely atmosphere. The food was so yummy, really good quality, and fantastic value as well. I am vegan and the vegan options were numerous and excellent! Would definitely go again when I am next in Leeds, and would recommend to others!

Two of us popped in on the off chance without a booking on a busy Saturday night, and they were brilliant about finding us a table. We really liked their online-only menu – a great idea for a restaurant that clearly focuses on fresh, changing dishes. The quality of the food is outstanding. We ordered the hummus, roasted corn cobs, and an absolutely delicious mushroom dish. The organic wine and beer were excellent as well. This place is a gem, and we can't wait to come back next time we're in Leeds.

Made a return visit and it did not disappoint. Knowledgeable and friendly staffed paired with incredible food. I love the fact that the dish I am least excited to try ends up being my favourite. The whole team is a testament to the Leeds hospitality scene and they are right at the top. Incredible.

Really great little café in the heart of Leeds. It doesn't matter if you're not vegetarian or vegan, the food is delicious and inexpensive. We had the vegetarian breakfast and the chilli hot dog, which were both really good. Service was quick and friendly despite how busy it was. Highly recommended 👍

Delicious food, friendly staff who let us change our minds once ordered. Although as a meat eater I did feel guilty ordering diary milk. My sister had the vegan breakfast which looked delicious, although I don’t get tofu scramble (texture wise) and I had the jackfruit. Surprisingly taste and texture. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible. I would come back again, especially for the pudding.

I really love this place. It has a huge vegan/vegetarian menu with an entirely vegan specials board which changes frequently. The food is great - I had the chilli dog and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are also friendly and the atmosphere is super chill. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting veggie/vegan food in Leeds ❤

We had a lovely meal in this little gem. Amazing food options for vegans and vegetarians. The jackfruit was really tasty and the ish and chips very nice too. It was great to discover such a hidden gem and would recommend the restaurant. Shame I was too full to be able to try the churros or the vegan dessert.

Great food, lovely decor and atmosphere. Had a lovely all day breakfast with a cup of tea. All cooked to perfection and plenty of good flavours. If you spend less then 10 quid it's a 50 P charge on your card, this wasn't clearly stated so I'm knocking a star off for now.

Tasty food. Even better smoothies. Had a jerk jack fruit and banana/mango/ginger smoothy. I'm not vegan but did enjoy the meal. Was very impressed with the smothies made to order, most places don't put enough ginger when you ask but these guys made it perfect (love that ginger heat!)

If you're on the hunt for a unique culinary experience, look no further than am Döner. Established in 2016 by Paul, a chef with Michelin-star training, this eatery has transformed the traditional kebab into something extraordinary. With two locations in Leeds, am Döner specializes in Berlin-style doner kebabs crafted from 100% halal meat and an impressive array of fresh ingredients—over 120 to be exact!
Always been a fan of this place, good quality kebabs that don't skimp on the meat. Their lunch deal is especially good value but everything I've tried has been good. The only issue is that their choice of sauce goes from extremely spicy (my taste but too spicy for lots of people who eat very spicy food) to a sauce with next to no spice. They really need another spicy option.

A decent fast food restaurant with a wide range of food options at a price that is a bit higher than average. The service was good, although a little slow even when there is not a queue. The food here is really nice.

Food 6/10 Location 9/10 Staff 7/10 Price 5/10 The location is very good with multiple access ways and very clean. The food is good quality but the portions are medium sized at best and not very proportional with the price. They have a nice range of smoothies and the place tries to sell healthy and a bit fancy products. If you're not really hungry and could pay a bit for a healthy-ish meal, that's a good place for you.
Alexandru A — Google review
Very friendly staff, always helpful and cheerful. The food is pretty good too, I love that I can go to a salad bar to have a healthy meal and there is enough ingredients to make it filling. The seating is really good to, very comfy and pretty.
Tamsyn M — Google review
Nice, fresh food but very overpriced! Staff always standing around talking and only one person serving too. Portion size is great, but it's just very expensive for what it is. If you're stuck & looking for a healthy lunch once in a while, it's ok, but it's not a regular lunch spot - which is a shame as the food is normally good quality.
Laura O — Google review
The staff is lovely, they are always smiling and friendly. The second plus point is that their ingredients are fresh and taste nice. But I don't like their "system" of so many proteins and so many vegetables. If I can go to Phil Potts I avoid this place.

Chicken Ramen; Quick delivery, but poor food quality for the price. Bland chicken stock soup with uninspired toppings (roast chicken, spinach, sweetcorn, broad beans, egg whites). This is not even close to traditional ramen, more akin to a basic oxo cube noodle soup.

Visitors can indulge in the 18-inch Rustica pizzas, Pasta Crisps, or Tiramisu Brownie for a delightful dining experience. The menu also features mouthwatering pasta dishes and cocktails.
The customer service was great. They even did a custom decoration on dessert for a birthday. Liked calzone very much but wasn't impressed by latte
Romans P — Google review
I have tried Zizzi's a fair few times in the past but when trying it 2 years after last visit Zizzi has became poorer both food, hygiene wise and the service. The food is reasonable for its price and is good. Some of the starters was tacky but otherwise the pizza was quite delicious . But what caught me was the floor and the desk there was bits and bobs around and didn't looked like it was not clean for a day or so. I don't know if its the service in Zizzi but it was horrible. It wasn't full at all not even half full but for them to order took then 10 minutes and it took 15 minutes after finishing food to take them away. And we overheard one staff talking very rudely to 1 or 2 customers (can't remember). I do not know if this was just a bad day but this has turn me off Zizzi for a while
