Sunshine bakery was collaborative, creative and absolute perfection when designing and making my wedding cake. They even were kind enough to follow a specific recipe to create my husbands favourite childhood cake. Decoration was beautiful and the flavours were delicious. I often see lots of cake left over at weddings... not at mine! Everyone raved about it. The cafe is quaint and eclectic in decoration, and the selection of baked goods and treats has my mouth watering every time I go in! The people who run it are as sunny as the name implies. After just a quick chat with them I felt as if I had made new friends. A true local gem. I'm so grateful it is on my doorstep!

My third visit to sunshine bakery and never fails to be amazing, the staff welcoming to all their customers even the furry four legged ones and are always happy to chat with you, they carry out excellent hand hygiene especially after petting dogs. Lovely little local bakery with inside seating. So much choice for a great price. The service was impeccable, with friendly smiling faces! Loads of choices of hot and cold sandwiches and the halloumi fries were gorgeous. Great place for a catch up with friends. I will definitely return and tell others.

The cupcakes tasted absolutely delicious. I had the Lemon/ Blueberry and the Victoria Sponge. The atmosphere was fun and the woman working is super nice.

Fantastic, two Afternoon Teas to go for a birthday lunch, absolutely stuffed with lots of leftovers! Cup cakes and brownies to die for, seriously tasty sandwiches, scones with huge dollops of cream and jam and fresh strawberries, cheese scones .... heavenly!

We’ve visited a couple of times after a friend close to Garforth recommended the place. It gets very busy at the weekend so I recommend coming midweek or getting here early! It’s a sweet little shop in an unsuspecting area, next to the leisure centre. There are a big range of treats on offer with savoury and sweet pastries, and lots of gorgeous cakes and tarts. At Easter there were lots of eggs on sale too. You can buy a lot of the good stuff from the counter: the first time we went I ordered a mini chocolate mousse cake and it was absolutely to die for. Melt in the mouth and the silkiest creamiest mousse. It was so good I ordered a birthday cake for my husband. This was the “origine” cake which is layers of dark and milk chocolate cake and mousse. We were blown away by this - it was rich and creamy and more like a dessert than a cake. It went down extremely well. I ordered a medium which was about 6-8 portions; it’s very rich so you don’t need big slices. I think this will be a new go-to for birthdays for us, we couldn’t get enough of it and the ordering process was simple and easy. It was such a wonderful treat to be able to order such a high quality cake here in Leeds and was worth the 25 minute drive from the other side of the ring road. Actually, for that cake I think I would happily walk over hot coals the whole way just to get another slice. Beautifully presented and made with f great care. They also run cookery school sessions if you get a group together, which is something we might try in the future. Can’t wait to come back.

Sampled a croissant and a pain au chocolate today whilst passing….felt like I’d been whisked straight to France! Unbelievable flavour, buttery, flakey, light. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic pastry experience. Très bien Thierry

My first time today at this gem. I sampled some of the patisserie which were all light, not overly sweet and delicious. Thierry the owner is welcoming and comes across well. I will definetly be back to sample more delights. It was well worth the 30 mile drive this morning.

Probably the best patisserie in Yorkshire at the very least. Absolutely incredible selection of wonderful treats from trays of small sandwich platters through to some of the most wonderful desserts you have ever seen or eaten.

My partner and I have visited twice in the last month, and each time have been bowled over by the quality of Thierry’s breads and pastries. For context, we live two hours away: our first visit was for a birthday treat and the second was because….the pastries are worth the two hour drive! :) The almond pain au chocolat is INCREDIBLE and I would also highly recommend the little cake covered in chocolate as the mousse inside is just insanely good. The sponges are beautifully light and nothing is too sweet so flavours are perfectly balanced. The breads are full of flavour and highly recommended! I also purchased some of the chocolate drops to bake with and have yet to do so, but a quick nibble test confirmed the high quality. The best patisserie I’ve found outside France itself! Thierry is so lovely and very passionate about his produce, which is lovely to see. We will be back! (Only one photo because everything got devoured before I remembered to take photos!)

Lovely place, lovely people, great food! Street Lane Bakery is a little gem. I found it through a friend who goes regularly, and have been twice in the last few weeks. The bagels are perfect, the pastries are great and they do all the usual coffees (and tea) as well as some soft drink cans. Beautifully presented and freshly made. The car park is only small, so it can get a bit full. The toilet is accessible, although if you are sitting inside, you get to it through the bakery - which might explain why one review commented on people going into the back. Very clean though!

We frequently nip in to this bakery for a treat. Today we came a bit late in the day (12:30ish) and picked up a poppy cholla and a lotus doughnut. The poppy cholla was great - lovely and light with a good crust. This was £3.30 if I remember and it was a very healthy sized loaf for that price. These loaves also keep pretty well for the next day if you have enough self-control (I don’t) The doughnut was £5 and by far the most expensive doughnut I’ve bought in Leeds - and we’ve tried a lot of them! Sadly, the price just isn’t justified for the doughnut. But perhaps we are in the minority as this was the last one on the shelf so clearly the rest of Leeds disagrees with us! The dough was fine, the filling was quite sickly but then again, lotus biscoff is quite a sickly flavour. If I’d paid £2 for this doughnut I wouldn’t have been disappointed but £5 is extortionate in my opinion! We were quite slow to be served, but they were quite busy with other orders so we didn’t mind waiting. We’ll continue to visit, and I’m dying to sit in the cafe and try a bagel. I’d also recommend going nice and early in the day so there’s plenty of choice. The car park is full of potholes and very small so just park around the corner where the fish and chip shop used to be and save your chassis.

Absolutely wonderful bakery selling my family’s favourite bread Jewish Best loaves which is impossible to get anywhere near me. They also do plaited rolls, stunning proper bagels - all are great but the poppy seed are my favourite, followed by raisin and cinnamon which just have the most amazing flavour. They have sandwiches, stunning huge donuts, a selection of other cakes such as brownies and blondies. They also do boxed salads to take away. You can choose your leaves, olives, gherkins, salad vegetables and topping. I had egg mayonnaise and can happily state that it was the best salad I ever had.

Best salmon bagel I’ve had! There’s a great range of breads, sweet treats and fresh deli options as well. The team are very friendly.

A bit of a mixed bag. The bagel fillings are quite basic and limited, and the actual bagel was a bit too hard and crispy for me, however the cinnamon slice was good, and the atmosphere was welcoming and had a real community feel.

Great little place. Lindsay, Ell and Joel are very helpful & friendly. The bagels and cakes are delicious and they have a great outside eating area when weather is good.

Very good smoked salmon bagel and Bakewell tart, if a little pricey. I'm disappointed that food and drinks are served in disposable cups, plates etc.

Lovely tea room. The chocolate brownie is the best I have ever tasted. Great attention to detail with the crockery & cutlery. Really lovely. A bit pricey but it's on the arcade & in centre of Leeds & dead quirky so that ix to be expected x ❤️ lovely girls too

A fabulous tea room. I used a gift voucher and pre booked as it was my first time in Leeds The afternoon tea was amazing. The ambiance was perfect , loved the the decor , the gorgeous Vintage tea pots, cups and saucers and embroidered tablecloths Everything was beautifully presented. The sandwiches were freshly made with delicious homemade scones and many varieties of cakes They cater very well for dietary requirements, I had pre ordered a gluten free afternoon tea for my husband. He was very impressed with the quality and choice of the sandwiches and homemade scone and cakes The young lady who served us was lovely, so attentive and welcoming Thank you for a memorable experience

Fresh and homemade selection with their afternoon tea. A wide tea selection on their menu available for take away as well as whilst dining. I did book in advance using a voucher and would definitely return. The scones were incredible, we were given an option from the cakes and we're happy with what we picked. Not very large so if a big group definitely book in advance. Have locally knitted / crocheted blankets incase you get cold whilst here.

I've been here before and really enjoyed it but the reception yesterday was poor. We were looking for somewhere to have a cup of tea and had a little girl with us who wanted ice cream. They only serve ice-cream in the milkshakes, so said no they couldn't serve ice-cream on its own .... honestly! There wasn't another customer in the place. We left. How hard would it have been? Clearly they're well off for business and don't need customers.

Amazing place! Did a little girly baby shower afternoon tea and the staff was super helpful and the food was so yummy with pleasing fussy eaters. I got 2 little kids afternoon and they loved it! We went for traditional and Caribbean and everyone enjoy them. My personal fav was the scones, Yumm! With it begin a baby shower I was able to pre-order non-alcohol drinks. Would deffo recommend for any occasion or just a pop in during the week. Thanks so much!

Loved it! I came here on a whim because it's close to the station (hence the name I suppose) and I'm happy I did! The menu is varied and offers many tasty sounding dishes that cater to carnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike. There are also plenty of sweet and savoury pastries to choose from! The interior is charming and I didn't have to wait long to get a table. The staff was very friendly and helpful! And - most importantly for most - food and coffee were great! I'll definitely come back here when I'm in Leeds once more!

We went to the restaurant one day and were told there were no available tables, with a waiting time of 30–45 minutes. We decided to come back another day, earlier, and with a reservation. Two days later, we called to book but were told they don’t take reservations and to just come directly. When we arrived, they said there were no tables and that we would have to wait 15–20 minutes, even though several tables were empty both inside and outside. The staff’s attitude was not great, and unfortunately, the service was poor. The food was tasty, but you leave the restaurant smelling like cooking because the kitchen is in the middle of the place. On top of that, the noise level was so high you could barely talk and heard.

This place was an absolute delight! We stopped for lunch on a gorgeous, sunny day and the atmosphere was vibrant and busy—clearly a very popular spot. The menu had a lovely selection of food, but I was truly blown away by the amazing specialty coffee and the incredible pastries. ​I couldn't leave without taking some with me for later! I can't recommend this gem enough for anyone visiting Leeds. A well-deserved 5 stars! ☕

This place exceeded our expectations. Great full English and amazing Turkish eggs. Pastry was great too. It’s right next to the train station, which is very convenient if you are traveling.

God this place is just heavenly. Probably preaching to the converted if you are from Leeds. This place is quite rightly rammed so come early or book in advance. Lovely breakfasts, good coffee, great service, too both ambience. I love this place. Trust the locals! They know their rhubarb!

Lovely place to go for brunch or a coffee and a pastry. We had a latte and flat white with a croissant and a cinnamon bun. The croissant was massive and delicious, and coffees were fantastic too. Great service and ambient!

Such is the popularity of this cafe even pre 9:00 am on a Saturday morning I’m in the basement which is quiet, chilled with the A/C + music. Fast well organised table service, first class food, numerous charging points and its convenience for the 🚂 makes this a must visit eatery.

Travelled 4 hours for these doughnuts and they did not disappoint! I haven't been able to have them since they left London, and decided for my birthday I needed them again. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were super friendly. The doughnuts were just as good as I remembered. The softness, flavour, and freshness of the doughnut is unmatched. The chocolate ganache, perfectly balanced with respect to milk and dark chocolate, and a glorious velvety consistency. The raspberry jam, again. perfectly balanced but with respect to sweetness and tartness (very different to the overly sweet stuff you get from other jam doughnut)! Also, and importantly, the doughnuts are PROPERLY filled - in want filling in each bite, which Doh Hut definitely delivers. Best doughnuts ive had in the UK hands down - please come here!

If you love filled donuts, Doh’hut is a must visit! They serve the style donuts we all dream about, but with a distinctly British feel, think jam or custard-filled donuts, only on a whole new, indulgent level. I tried two donuts, the Chocolate Filled Brownie and the Butterscotch & Angel Delight. Both were absolutely amazing, packed with so much delicious filling. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the donuts themselves were cooked so well. I was so impressed I even asked the staff how long these could last, I was tempted to take some all the way back home to South Wales! Freshness is key, and these are definitely best enjoyed straight from the shop. If you’re in Leeds and love donuts that go above and beyond, Doh’hut should be top of your list.

The store, the people and everything about this place is lovely! I also like the fact that it’s not in a crowded place that it gets its cool and relaxed vibe 😄 Honestly the best part I find is the people are warm and the donuts ooze the same warmth. My favourite coffee shop in Leeds! The donuts are incredible and freshly made and honestly the best donuts and coffee I’ve ever had. Yet to try the sandwiches but feel confident they will be just as delicious!

Great donuts, probably one of the best I’ve had. Just right sweetness level and chewy dough, although I’d say the donut skin is a bit too thin and there’s a lot of filling. The cheesecake donut with raspberry and white chocolate, filling was raspberry flavoured, even though it had a lot but didn’t feel too heavy. They don’t do chai latte sadly, only coffees

Doughnuts are out of this world! Lovely little shop, great selection of doughnuts and drinks. Vegetarian/alcohol free but do ask when there are any specials on. Favourites are the creme patisserie and the chocolate ganache. 4 stars as i found the customer service to be quite aggressive. You made me feel very belittled and that you couldn’t be bothered to serve me again. Would i visit again? Of course, but do keep the bad mood in the kitchen next time. Sorry to have disturbed you!

Pastel de natas here are to die for. Tiramisu is good as well but omg the custard tarts!!!!! 😍 Always go back for them. Coffee is great as well but I'm not too big of a drinker so...the Iced Spanish I had was great though. Like a latte but sweeter and richer.

Today I visited this café and there was a small issue with the order and billing — I was given the wrong item. However, when I returned to speak with the staff, they handled it very professionally. One of the team members, who was slightly taller, had an amazing attitude. She was extremely polite, respectful, and solved the problem quickly without showing any sign of frustration. On the contrary, she was impressive in the way she dealt with the situation. Truly excellent service!

Amazing place, absolutely love and come back to. The focaccia sandwiches are great, the Mortadella could do with some pesto/more flavour but the Focaccia caprese is great. It’s always busy with a great atmosphere in a lovely little square with seating outside. Would recommend !!

I had a disappointing experience. The female staff questioned my friend for sitting inside even though she had clearly purchased a latte in her reusable cup. Later, I ordered a polo focaccia, which was priced at £6.50 on the display. However, I was charged £6.95. When I pointed it out, the same staff member simply said the listed price was incorrect—no apology, no refund of the difference. It’s shocking that customers are expected to bear the consequences of the pricing errors. I think I won’t be returning.

Pretty expensive but the food is incredible, so many options, with beautifully fresh made bread and ingredients, definitely a go to special treat for lunches! Were incredibly COVID safe too, only allowing one person or bubble in at a time, which was comforting to see.

As a vegan I'm really picky...these guys had 3 vegan and several more veggie toasted sandwiches options and loads of meat options, I had a vegan Wedgwood/gerkin/hummus/pesto .....WOW the flavours blew my mind, they worked incredibly well, I will become a regular. They have amazing vegan and vegetarian options. They're always different (or have been every time I've eaten from there) and never been disappointed. Plenty of sides as options too like focaccia bread and a vegan cookie. Friendly service, too. Definitely recommend this place!!

Easily the best sandwiches in Leeds. The Cafe 164 in Leeds city centre was right next to our office, so we were regular visitors. After a year of working from home, I can't explain how happy I was to find a new one just down the road from my house.

I found 164 whilst walking around Headingley waiting for my son who was at cricket training. Really fantastic sandwiches in foccacia; genuinely one of the best I've ever had. Very nice (enormous) cookies too.

Great friendly staff and great atmosphere especially upstairs! The food menu is very solid too with vegan and vegetarian options! The vegan sausages were top notch and the beans were tasty and a good portion. Best breakfast/brunch for sure.

Food was stunning. Dog friendly. Staff were kind and understanding, able to make small changes to the food such as taking bacon of the burger. Yorkshire pudding was amazing.

What a delightful Sunday lunch! The ambience was wonderfully relaxed, and the service could not have been better. It was the perfect setting to enjoy fantastic food and good company—an excellent bar to relax with friends or alone, and even dog-friendly.

Massive praises for the most dog friendly place ever! Been here twice recently & both times the dogs have been given as good a meal as I have had, on the house! There are also dog treats on the bar & water has been provided for them both times without me having to asking. The food itself is very tasty, with the breakfast butty being a winner I imagine at such great value. The homemade bread is lovely & different however I do think the rest of the sandwiches being over double the cost of the breakfast butty is a bit much... which is why I never order them I think. The vibe is very relaxed which I like with lots of different options for seating. Just be mindful that the kitchen is not open on certain days of the week, if you're going for food. Service is friendly, kind, quick & helpful. Thank you, we'll be back for sure!

Cozy place for fresh coffee and food! Spacious but with lots of seats both inside and out. Different brunch menus then your typical 'go to' might serve but very tasty and would definitely eat again. Jake was very attentive to our baby and made everyone feel welcome. I had the salt and pepper hash with extra halloumi (see picture) with an iced speciality coffee

I recently visited Mill Kitchen in Farsley and was absolutely blown away! I had two slices of sourdough topped with homemade beans, cheddar cheese and spring onion the flavours were amazing, and the sourdough was incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff were also very welcoming. I’d love to go back and try some of their breakfast and brunch dishes as they looked really tasty.

Lovely place for food and drinks. The bakery section looked fabulous too. We had a breakfast which was amazing. Good to see homemade baked beans and quality produce. Staff very friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere too. Lovely decor. Very clean and everything was well presented. Wide range of food and drinks available. Outside seating too.

There's a good brunch range and bakery and the cafe is lovely and light inside. However for me, the prices are quite expensive for the size of portion. I got one slice of sourdough with some brie and grapes on it and it cost me £9.50. Also, when it's busy, it's almost impossible to have a conversation without shouting as it's so noisy inside. Like so many places these days, there are zero sound absorption materials or soft furnishings, so not a good place if you have someone in your group hard of hearing.

Fantastic place for lunch. The cafe is heaving so they are doing something right. We had a Moroccan dish and mushrooms on sourdough. 2 flat whites ( top marks 😀) Service was speedy but super friendly. We took away an enormous slab of carrot cake as well. Delicious. Keep doing what you're doing. Shame that I live in Northumberland or I'd be here every week!!

My partner and I went in for Sunday Brunch. Wonderful food, lovely smiling service, and a cute British small village feel. With a wide variety on the menu and drinks list, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. Took a chance & tried the “Kim Chi pancakes” and they were FANTASTIC! Please tell the chef that was a wonderful and unique creation and tasted Excellent ! A great place to visit with friends, pop in for a quick bite to eat, stay and work from your laptop, bring your dog. Very friendly atmosphere.

the “truffle bacon mushroom HASH” was just a plate of halved new potatoes covered in truffle smelling grease, with 3 confetti sized bits of bacon for £11 - outrageous. Kids liked the pancakes, but 2 small pancakes for £5.50 I’d argue is over priced. good coffee

Working in Wellington Place for a long time but I haven't tried it before. Though it looks busy all the time. The food was nice and tasty, it was a big portion and we swapt one each. Impressed with spanish latte as well. Thanks and will be returning 💕

Really disappointed to order a £5 smoothie that was 80% concentrate apple juice and a frozen berry mix. The ingredients were supposed to be Banana, Blueberry, courgette & ginger. I saw the staff make the drink and thought surely that’s not the smoothie I just ordered- if I had not have seen then I wouldn’t have known. No where does it say it’s an apple juice base, hopefully no one orders the smoothies that is allergic. At £5 that is a gross miss sell, when you order something you trust it has the same fresh ingredients. They did swap it for a coffee with no refund of the difference -feel a bit stung!

Situated in Wellington Place, this is one the best food joints around. Perfect place to hang out with colleagues or enjoy a quick snack or a brunch. Wraps are delicious. I also had the Lotus Biscoff Coffee and it was super silky in taste. Must try!

It is one of the best cafes in Leeds. I am in love with the honey nut crunch! The cakes were delicious as well. The fat white is one if the good choices. However, they offer different choices, including healthy choices. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are very friendly. They have outdoor seating, which is nice during the sunny days 👍🏻. Not to mention that they offer free wifi for their customers (ask the staff for the password). Highly recommended 👍🏻!

Not very social folk AT ALL. - It Looked like a nice place and seemed to have a good food and coffee offering. Sadly the experience was awful. Despite it being lunch-time pretty much half the menu was not available. I decided to go get a boring Pret sandwich and then come back to get what looked like a nicer coffee here at Social Folk. I ordered a hot chocolate and a pastry. Given i’d just spent the better part of a tenner on a drink and snack, I assumed consuming the Pret sandwich on-site would be ok, how wrong was I. I even asked if it was ok out of curtesy but was bluntly told no as though I’d asked to take a dump in middle of the shop. The rather bland dark hot chocolate was given to me in a takeaway cup, no doubt that saves the lazy rude woman some washing up. AVOID.

Very impressive gluten free food! I couldn’t believe the bread was gluten free, had to be the best gluten free bread I’ve tried by a landslide - very delicious! Wish I’d bought another loaf! The cupcake was delightful and tasted like normal cake, if the cafe wasn’t a dedicated gluten free cafe, I’d have been convinced there was gluten. The gluten free biscoff spread is delightful, and takes a lot of will power to not eat the whole jar - very tasty on porridge! The salads are nice too. Quite a noisy environment. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. A coeliac’s paradise!

This place has a fantastic selection of gluten-free products, which is what initially drew us in. The menu is impressive, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into catering for dietary needs. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the service. Despite only two other tables being occupied, the food took a long time to arrive. The staff seemed uninterested, unfriendly, and frankly looked like they were just going through the motions. In a café or artisan bakery, the atmosphere and energy of the staff are just as important as the food. A smile and some enthusiasm go a long way, and sadly, that was missing here. Overall, great gluten-free choices—but service and attitude need serious improvement to make it a place worth returning to.

Very comfortable cafe with friendly staff. There are plenty of toys for kids, which makes it perfect for families. The coffee was delicious! The donuts were a bit sour for me — not really my taste, but everything else was nice. A good spot to relax.

It is a nice place for a cup of coffee or tea with their good range of cakes. Lots of toys and play area for children. So you must come and enjoy the aroma and atmosphere. The girl is wonderful.

I couldn’t resist travelling out of my way a little when I heard about this place and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! It’s hard to believe everything is Gluten Free here when it looks and tastes so good! Took some cake away but statues to enjoy a toastie, quiche and a cup of coffee 🥰 Whether you are Gluten Free or not you will certainly enjoy the food :)

Absolutely beautiful bread, and amazing friendly staff. I'm eating a slice of teff bread now, untoasted with nothing on it and it's delicious! Can't say that for Most other gluten free breads. The other baked goods I've tried have also been delicious.

Worst customer service and overrated food. Visited here for the first time on the 25th July, ordered 3 sandwiches and a bottle of water. There was a man standing behind the counter who looked to be around 50-60 with grey hair, when we took our sandwiches to the counter, he was just staring at us with a foul look on his face, he then punched in some numbers into the card machine and turned the card machine towards me, I asked if the sandwiches could be toasted, he didn’t utter a word, just handed them to the young employee behind him. This is single handedly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, the man did not utter ONE word to us in the entire interaction, and looked disgusted by us (we are Asian if that was his issue - not sure?). I left feeling annoyed that we had given this business our money. And to top it off, the sandwiches (chicken and avocado) were so dry we did not even eat them, who on earth makes a sandwich and doesn’t butter the bread or put some kind of dressing in there, dry chicken, with some avocado between bread, amazing.

A famous saying says: "Good, quick, cheap: pick two." Bakery 164 manages to hit all three. Good: quality ingredients, skillfully composed, with variety added by a rotating sandwhich of the day. Quick: Take your sandwhich as-is and be in and out in under a minute, or get it toasted at a slight delay. Cheap: Most sandwiches cost a 5er or less. You can get something cheaper at Gregg's, but nowhere near the same quality, and the prices are very competitive compared to other options on this busy street.

BEST SANDWICHES EVER IN THE WORLD. One of the best thing around Leeds Uni. Any, anything from them are just amazing. It is so fulfilling and tasty. Good selection with cheap price (considering the portion!!). You can easily be amazed and satisfied by their sandwiches. During the peak time there are so many students. If you go later in the day basically there is nothing left!! Fresh bakery every day! OMG I will love their sandwiches forever.

One of the best places in Leeds for espresso. High quality selection of pastries and great service. This is a great spot for some quick out-of-office work, as they have fast internet and access to easy computer charging. Highly recommend!

I was excited to visit this coffee shop as it seemed to be right up my street. I tried a filter brew made using the Clever dripper. It came a few minutes later. I should have had a flat white or double espresso. The filter brew was very under extracted or else hard to brew well based on how the beans were roasted. This is sadly a common issue in specialty coffee shops. The staff weren't the most friendly. I'll revisit and try an espresso because I really like the relaxed atmosphere of this coffee shop. Somewhat recommended.

Another excellent coffee spot ! First time I've visited, but certainly won't be the last. It's a five minute work from the main shopping areas,but absolutely worth it. Was served by an experienced and enthusiastic barista and it showed in the coffee. Highly recommended for those who are fussy like me. Great range of filter and pour over coffees. Certainly worth visiting. Atmosphere was excellent and a cosy spot to chill. Thankyou ! Oh and the hot chocolate and Almond croissant was excellent too! An independent business which needs supporting.

Had an absolutely lovely experience at Stage yesterday, I had a mocha and it was easily one of the best coffees I’ve had in Leeds! Also, the barista with a hat on talked me through the retail and advised me on grinders which was a massive help! Thank you for all your help! Will definitely be coming back again soon!

We stayed at the Queens hotel over a weekend as a couple and a dog. If you like Art Deco you'll love the hotel which has a classical style. The interiors of the public spaces on the ground floor are also well maintained and gorgeous. Even the staircases have a kind of shabby 1930s chic. We had a room facing the square on the first floor. The room was clean, well laid out, modern but sympathetic to the architecture and spacious. Windows were steel with secondary glazing and there was a little noise (Leeds is not a quiet city) but nothing to bother us. We didn't have a bath and the shower cubicle was fine, albeit a bit claustrophobic (and why can hotels NEVER manage to have showers that don't leak all over the floor). The hotel doesn't charge anything extra for dogs but equally isn't able to provide things like bowls for water etc (for "hygiene reasons") so come prepared. Staff were helpful and friendly, including late night security on the door. The hotel is right by the station, and has a connecting entrance, so is very convenient. No parking at the hotel but there are discounts at local car parks. I would definitely stay here again.

I love the Queens as a building, and I’ve stayed several times. But this time we were disappointed. The room was comfortable and well decorated but not well looked after. The bathroom was not properly clean with chipped paint on the door frames and tiles that hadn’t been cleaned properly. Even though I checked out well ahead of time, housekeeping will already trying to get into my room after I came back from breakfast and I felt that they were deliberately trying to rush me out. We were also really disappointed to find that room service finishes at 9 pm. So we tried the bar, to find that the bar food also finished at this time, And also that despite the hotel website saying that the restaurant is open until 1 am, we were told it had finished serving at 9:15, just after we got there. I realise the bar and restaurant are run by a different company but they are advertised as part of the hotel and so the fact that the staff there were offhand and unhelpful, bordering on rude does reflect back on the hotel itself. It also really isn’t acceptable that a hotel of this advertised quality does not provide any food after 9 pm at night. We’ve been back and stayed in Leeds since. We stayed somewhere else that is less beautiful and outwardly swanky. But the service was much better and the rooms were much cleaner and that is where we will stay in Leeds in future.

We stayed at The Queens Hotel in Leeds twice during our UK trip and both stays were very good. We were given quiet (as requested) spacious rooms with comfortable beds and good bathrooms with great showers!. The rooms had large TV’s and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included and was satisfactory, though the coffee was disappointing (luckily plenty of coffee shops nearby). Reception staff were excellent—friendly, personable and professional.

Amazing experience last night at this hotel for our wedding anniversary. Such a beautiful place, decor and architecture of the building is amazing. Couldn’t stop looking at it. A very good room price that included breakfast and a bottle of prosecco. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and in a quiet situation. There are no phones in the room so contact within the hotel is via the Internet, facilitated by a QR code on the hotel card. The staff were very friendly and efficient throughout the hotel although Dean, who changed our tv remote deserves a special call-out. He was super quick, very efficient and extremely welcoming. The breakfast was of a good quality and well cooked. This all added up to a very enjoyable night away.

I was visiting from Bristol and I couldn't miss getting some GB treats in person after loving their Bruce & Bertha (milk choc is my fave), as well as their incredible super fudgy brownies thanks to the nationwide delivery. The gentleman who served was very friendly, patiently explained the options left at the end of the day and helped us choose some pie slices. I'm happy to say that a Mr Pistachio made it back to Bristol as well, even if with a slightly deflated merengue - I'm so glad I bought this one in particular because it was fricking delicious, no notes, so sad it doesn't travel well so it won't be available for delivery 😣 guess I'll just have to come back in store!

Tried a variety of items - everything from the brownies to the cupcakes to the cookies are of high quality and use great ingredients. Can be a little pricey for some items but you do get quality for your money so this is understandable. The RGDC cookies are a personal favourite and definitely worth a visit for. Overall I’m sure there is something here for any sweet treat lover and 100% worth a visit if in the area !

The most incredible slab of cake you’ll find! Layer upon layer of pure heaven. And the cookies are so so good! I have tried most of their flavours including limited editions ones, totally recommend the cinnamon roll flavour 🤤🤤

Came here to pick up a classic bertha for my bfs birthday. Situated in the popular student area of headingley - this is definitely the shop to go for decadent treats. The service at the shop is fast and the girl working there was really friendly and personable. As stated we got the classic bertha and I picked up a couple of slices of the pie (cheesecake) I had a slice of banoffee and a slice of biscoff. I am not normally a chocolate cake fan as I find it too sickly but I was really surprised - the bertha is perfectly balanced and light. The pie was also beautiful. The banoffee isn't overpowering and the biscoff one was also lovely. Both have the perfect ratios of biscuit to topping. I think it's well priced for the size of the slices. We will definitely be back again! Thank you ! Perfect place to shop for a special occasion or just because!

We were up in Headingly for a meal out, we didn't opt for desserts as we wanted to visit the BEST dessert establishment 'Get Baked'. So after we left the restaurant we walked straight to Get Baked for the treats. What can I say we have previously had Bruce Cake and the sticky toffee pudding, which incidentally is the BEST I have ever tasted! This time we bought Cookies, Lemon Meringue and Biscoff pie, all of them absolutely delicious, portion sizes are so generous too. Lovely friendly staff in this shop, and always a lovely atmosphere, as everyone in the shop is like a child in a sweetshop, all excited at making that decision over which delightful dessert to choose. Highly recommend, visiting is a must

Support your local farmers. Buy your produce directly from the farms! We went to Goodalls for the famed ice cream and it was a great experience. It's a farm shop with enclosures for alpacas, goats, chickens, cows, ponies and sheep which you can pet but not feed. The ice cream was indeed rich, flavourful and not small in portion sizes. We tried the coconut, chocolate, double cream, apple pie and hocus pocus. 3x double-scoops and a triple scoop. A pleasant afternoon and £19 very well spent.

A really nice place to visit with cafe and lots of ice cream flavours to choose from. Reasonably priced and the manager serving was friendly. Nice area outside to sit and a little play area for children and the added bonus of being able to visit some animals too! We will definitely be back 😊

Amazing sweet staff and omg the ice cream and milkshakes were delicious. The cakes, brownies, cookies and pies were on beautiful display. Spent around £50 and got a complimentary box of clotted cream fudge. The desserts were delicious so I definitely will be back for more and recommend.

This place has a nice interior and the service was really great because the server let us try some gelato flavours. The special gelato that day was a chocolate lindt flavour which was really good. Had the ube brownie with regular ube gelato which was alright. The vegan ube gelato however just tasted of coconut milk which was not very good. Overall not a bad place.

I found out about this place from Leeds+ and I am glad I went. I ordered the Baklava Sandwich with Pistachio Gelato. The staff were all helpful and kind, and they gave a recommendation and I will definitely be returning soon

Overall is good. I quite like Ube ice cream. This is my favourite flavour so far. But me and my partner do think the dough-lato bun is not really good. It tasted quite dry and not match the ice cream really well. And the soft serve ice cream is not as good as I expected. But I’ll still back as I love ube flavour😊

Came across this small cosy dessert place randomly. If you have a sweet tooth or just want a subtle sweetness hit I recommend this lovely place. This place has a variety of desserts and new flavours such as pandan flavoured gelato and Filipino's signature ube gelato too

I had a great experience at Le Pain Quotidien. I had a nice cold elderflower drink with a lovely warm waffle and chocolate sauce. The staff are nice and ready for your service. The restaurant is so clean and tidy. It's not busy, it's nice and quiet. I enjoyed my afternoon here, it is fairly priced on what they give you. My partner had a cheesecake and he adored it, he wanted more. Reading the reviews, I don't think people understand why a "coffee is in a bowl", it's French... That's how us French people like to drink, same way with hot chocolate. I like the way they've got vegan and healthy options. Only one thing, I wish they did other bread than sourdough and baguette.

Nice lemon tart and caramel tart. Scone had an unusual springy texture like it had been microwaved. Speculaas latte and match latte really nice but Earl Grey was too soapy. A little pricey but not as bad as I expected. Nothing special.

I tried Cinnammmm at a market - and a Maple & Pecan cinnamon roll. I love love love cinnamon rolls but this one was otherworldly. So soft and flavoursome, just so yummy and great ingredients. There were quite a few flavours at the market, even some savoury which seemed popular. Can’t wait to try a different flavour (and probably buy another maple pecan one too)

These cinnabons are literally the most amazingly delicious sweet treat I’ve ever tasted and I’ve tasted a lot!!! Even better than Cinnabon itself! They are definitely Cinnammmm!! A must try! I got a collab box from Cinnammmm and Ooey Gooey Bakes recently and I can honestly say that the combination was incredible. The level of rich sugary cinnamon of cinnammmm punching through the cookie pie and brownie of Ooey Gooey was god tier creation. I would love to try just the Cinnammmm buns when I am next passing through Leeds!

Oh my these cinnamon bons indeed make you go 'mmmm'. So so so delicious and love that they offer vegan options too!! I love cinnamon bons but barely anywhere sell them so I was super happy to find Cinnammmm and so close to where I live too. I ordered their postal 4 x vegan bons and was super surprised to find Mina deliver them by hand to my house the day they were baked as she noticed I wasn't too far from where they are based and even added an extra 2 bons (😋😋) which is amazing and so lovely of her to do. I couldn't wait to try them so had one with a coffee for breakfast and they did not disappoint, in fact they exceeded my expectations! Absolutely delicious, the frosting was so good and the cinnamon inside was amazing, I can't wait to have another! I already have family asking where I got them from so will definitely be having to bring some home to them too! Thanks so much Mina!!

Been getting these cinnamon buns for over a year now. This was the special Halloween box, beautifully decorated and presented as you can see. They are always the best - soft, syrupy inside with loads of flavour but it's the toppings which make them really incredible. Personal faves are the original vanilla cream cheese and biscoff 😋

We got this amazing box of wedding cake samples, and each and every flavour was so good we struggled to pick! You think you've tried chocolate cake and it won't be that exciting, but that chocolate cake was like nothing I've ever eaten! Laura was so lovely and patient with us. I can't recommend her enough and can't wait to work with her for our wedding ❤️

Our experience with Laura was amazing. As soon as we had the teams call I knew we’d found the one. Having the opportunity to go and taste a selection of different flavours for the cake before making the final decision was an amazing and delicious experience. I knew we were in great hands and had nothing to worry about which was an absolute blessing as I was planning the wedding when pregnant (stressed is an understatement). Our wedding cake was more than just a sweet treat; it was a memorable highlight of our special day. It was everything we had imagined and more, with not only looking incredible but tasted divine. It truly was the "sweet heart" of our celebration, leaving a lasting impression on us and our guests. I can’t recommend Laura enough and have already spoken to her about our son’s christening cake.

Laura did our wedding cake. She was amazing from start to finish. The cake tasting was a great experience, trying lots of flavours and discussed what we wanted. We got to take some home also. The final product was exactly what we wanted - very tasty too! I would be buying her mini cakes all the time if I lived closer!

Laura has made a number of sensational celebration cakes for me. She always takes time to understand the brief and her results are faultless. Her flavours are incredible, and her chocolate cake is out of this world. She really is a master of her craft.

Laura recently made two heart shaped cakes (plus some brownies and blondies!) for our wedding and not only were the cakes absolutely amazing and people raved about them, but in the planning of the wedding Laura went above and beyond. She recommended an amazing florist and photographer so was instrumental in helpful us put our wedding together so I can't thank her enough! She also had to contend with 2 venues changes due to places going bust. The cake tasting was such a lovely way to get excited for the day, and her cakes are so tasty we've also got the sample boxes too (another must try)! Rest assured if you book Laura your cakes (and in our case wedding!) will be in very good hands.

We met Laura at a wedding fair and chose her to be our wedding cake maker, after tasting her delicious cake samples and loving her aesthetic creations. Laura is super professional and personable, she supported us every step of the cake journey. We loved the cake tasting appointment to decide on flavours, and were over the moon with how our cake looked and tasted on the day, with the design brought to life, especially the white chocolate honeycomb decorations! I love all of their bread and cakes so I order about 6 loaves at a time and freeze them. I love the wide range of flours, seeds and nuts they use. All organic and locally sourced when possible. The bread is so delicious and is beautiful to taste and smell. A loaf usually lasts me about five days and all their bread keeps fresh. If there is a little piece left, I make breadcrumbs so every lovely bit is used. This bread is not expensive as the loaves are twice the size of-supermarket sour doughs etc and far far superior in taste and texture. The shop on the bakery site has developed over the years and now is a place of visual delight and wonderful aromas. I highly recommend a visit to the shop. They will deliver to certain post codes in Leeds.

If you like real bread this is the place to go. They have a good choice of different sourdough breads and some pastries, cakes and foccacia. Everything is so fresh and tasty,not comparable with supermarket bread. This place definitely worth a visit even if it's in some industrial zone. Staff is very kind and friendly.

Lovely people, brilliant bread and pastries - a bit on the expensive side. It's worth it as it's such good quality, just wish I could afford to stop here more regularly. No absence of queues, even with limited opening and an out of the way location, which demonstrates how great this place is, and how committed people are to this Co-op. Really amazing bread, dense and flavourful, the sort that makes you wonder why you ever ate your usual loaf. A little slice of heaven 😇

I've been eating Leeds Bread Co-op sourdough for years and it's always been consistently good. I've been picking up pre-ordered goods from the shop since lockdown and really like the cardamom knot as its not too sweet or sickly to have for an early breakfast. I hope they're around for years to come

I was next in line and as soon as I approached the counter to place my order the not so subtle worker immediately turned and ignored me to go and start a conversation with her colleague. Her beautiful black colleague who clearly understands basic manners greeted and attended to me as a customer which was greatly appreciated. Not the first time I've experienced them being incredibly moody and ignorant but I assumed maybe it was me overthinking, what a real shame to see others in the reviews experienced the same. How awful to be known as a bakery with workers who quite clearly pick and choose who they are pleasant to and who they aren't. Congrats to employing a person of colour who doesn't ignore customers unlike the others who seem to attend work in a mood to racially profile.

Fabulous breads and cakes call in every time I’m in York and to be fair any one who doesn’t like it stick to normal bread you obviously don’t have any taste because this is proper sourdough 🥰👍🥰

A fantastic bakery! The 7-seed sourdough is now the only bread I’ll eat! It’s delicious and soft with a chewy crust. Toasts well and freezes well too. The staff are friendly. While it’s expensive bread, the quality justifies the cost. Get there by midday if you want the full selection as it can sell out quickly.

Went for the second time today and there was a disgustingly rude lady there who claimed to be the manager. I was waiting in the queue behind two people and when my turn came, she completely ignored me and went to serve people behind me. I told her that I was there before and she acted like she didn’t see me, her acting skills were terrible she knew very well I was there before. The man who took my turn said that I was on my phone, which I was although I was looking up from time to time and as my turn came I approached the till and the lady completely ignored me and went to him instead. It was almost as if the man was trying to say that he has every right to push in because I was on my phone??? What happened to queuing etiquette???? I felt like this was extremely racially motivated behaviour and I will not be going again. If you’re a POC, avoid this place and make you’re bread at home.

Purchased for the first time today. Bought a ciabatta and sour dough to serve to guests. Everyone commented on the taste and agreed the bread was so much nicer than any supermarket bread (even the 'artisan' versions). Crusty outside and chewy middle - delicious! Will now be my go to bread place.

Really lovely baked goods, the bread is superb and so are the brownies. They do often sell out so get there quite early if there is something specific you want. Staff always very friendly. Accepts card payments 👍

A nice sunny day in Leeds what better to have than a proper ice-cream. The staff were really friendly with warm smiles. However, the ice-cream is the main event here. I had the pistachio cream and it was creamy and full of pistachio flavour, delicious! I'm looking forward to the next sunny day in Leeds so I can continue to work my way through the flavours.

The Roberto in York is fantastic and has some of the best Gelato around . However the one in Leeds market is pretty pointless as they never have any ice cream in stock.

The best gelato in Leeds. The gelato is quality and you can tell by the taste. They have a great selection of flavours, I particularly like the pistachio flavour. Staff are always friendly and don't forget to pick up a loyalty card. You won't get better ice cream in Leeds.

Absolutely love this coffee. I always buy the Docks house blend and always makes me smile. Customer service is second to none. Bought the wrong coffee once. I emailed them asking how I return and within 10mins had an email saying they had posted my usual order out amd should receive the next day. As a cherry on the top they said I should gift the coffee I had bought by mistake to some I love. There is not many companies that look after their customers like that! Brilliant

Faultless. Great Guatemalan coffee teamed with delicious filled focaccia and the sweet indulgence of chocolate and hazelnut brownie. Icing on the cake is the standard of service, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Great teamwork all round! If we weren’t so far away (Dorset) we’d be regular visitors!

I have been a customer and subscriber of North Star for a few years now and although I have shopped around a bit, I have never found a coffee to match the Brazilian. I use a BZ 10 and it dials in perfectly. I have had help from the staff at North Star when I was initially getting used to grinding and dosing my own espresso but now I’m pretty much self sufficient. I would not be without my subscription, it has changed my life! Thank you 😊

I dealt with 3 members of staff at North Star Coffee. They not only allowed me to shoot images of their brand, but also lent me a handful of items to help build the settings for the images. Very helpful, friendly and easy going people, with a great work ethic. I even got a cup of coffee when I walked through the door. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you North Star Coffee.

We found Laura to make our wedding cake from a work colleagues recommendation. Luckily she had room in her busy schedule, as she's so in demand! Our first cake tasting was a great insight into Laura's personality and definitely helped us with refining our ideas between the three of us! Obviously, it was a great opportunity to try her delicious cake! (Honestly one of best tasting cakes we've tried!) The final result was exactly what we imagined and talked about! Our other guests loved the cake as well. If you get chance to work with Laura then you'll won't be disappointed!

There’s a criteria of two things that define a good greasy spoon, the simplicity of the food and the amount of Tradies in it, this place definitely ticks both boxes. As a southern fairy I’ve struggled to find a northern pansy that can figure out the good greasy spoon, but Tim’s got it somehow, I don’t know who gave him the trade secrets, if I wasn’t sure he’d deck me for even thinking it, I would say he must be a Londoner. I drove all the way from Leeds for this breakfast, and I’ll definitely be doing it again. Thanks Tim for getting it right! I had a breakfast sandwich that disappeared before I could get a picture of it…

A unique and atmospheric little cafe in the now closed Thorpe Arch trading estate. Very good menu and at very competitive prices points. Very friendly and attentive staff, orders can be made in advance on the telephone. Great quality of ingredients and locally baked cakes. Thoroughly recommend.

We love coming here for a half time dog walking pit stop. Literally couldn’t be friendlier or better - lovely staff, lovely food, very dog friendly. Such a nice atmosphere, people are chatty and friendly and it’s a lovely place to spend some time. The best start to the day!

Traditional "Cafe". Simple Menu but everything well done. Many Breakfast items, Jacket Pots, Sandwiches. Homemade Cakes. Large seating area. Friendly efficient Staff. After an additional visit I have to mention The Bacon Sandwiches are fried as requested. My "extra crispy was SOoooo good.

As a man who does not mind paying for a decent feed I gambled on the cheese and bean jacket coming in at a whopping £4.25. for that I was expecting a massive spud covered in the world's best combo of cheese and beans..... As you can see by the picture it was nothing like I expected for the price and tasted of nowt really couldn't even taste cheese very disappointed. My mate paid for the chicken salad for which he was charged £3.50. Hardly any chicken and cheap nasty mayo. Mentioned that the salad was nice.

Delicious food for both humans and dogs! Extremely quick, efficient and friendly service and the place has lovely decor. A warm and welcoming atmosphere - both myself and Vince love it (so do his other mother, his shepherd siblings and rommie dog friends). The staff made me feel really welcome and it was good value for money. I can't wait to come again and neither can our dogs!

I visited Vine this morning with my mum and son after being recommended it by your other business (residence cafe & bar) as Residence hasn't got pushchair access but Vine does. The lady serving was friendly and asked where we would like to sit (we chose to sit outside as the weather was mild) she came and took our order quickly and was very friendly, the coffee was lovely and smelt like good quality coffee and tasted it too. We both opted for a panini (chicken and mozarella with pesto and tomatoes/tuna melt with peppers and onions) both served with crisps and coleslaw. Everything tasted lovely and was served promptly and was hot. Prices were reasonable for the food served and we would definitely visit again! 😊

I had pre booked an afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, and when we arrived we were not disappointed. The external was welcoming and clean, and we were greeted within seconds of walking in the door. We were seated quickly by very friendly staff who had asked about our day, and made sure we had everything we needed. Once the beautifully presented afternoon tea arrived, we were totally suprised at what was actually on it. We were thinking the usual type sandwiches, but nope, it was beautiful Mediterranean foods, an array of colours and packed full of flavour. Throughout the time we were there, staff were happily chatting to customers coming through the door, but also cleaning and ensuring the shop looked spit-spot. Absolutely made our 1st trip to Leeds a delight, accompanied by much needed sunshine to brighten the day.

Had the afternoon tea here via a Groupon and it was absolutely amazing left feeling full and the mimosa was lovely. Fresh tasty food and amazing vibes with the neon light and pretty atmosphere. Lovely coffee as always. Staff were very accommodating and friendly would come back again any day! Small inside so worth booking online but it adds to the cozy vibe!

I went with a friend, we had an amazing brunch! Savena was super friendly and welcomed us very well! Sara took our order and made sure everything came to us correctly. I enjoyed Irish coffee.To eat, I ordered a Croque Madame, but without the prosciutto. Chef Matt was very thoughtful in preparing the order without the prosciutto and it was delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and sooo beautiful, perfect for a coffee with a friend or to take the family. We had a lovely time there, I’m exited to come back soon!

Normally go to residence for breakfast but decided to switch it up this week and try their other venue Vine for lunch, really nice food and staff were friendly. Reuben panini was tasty and good value for money. My sister had the banana bread french toast and said it was lovely too. Really good hot chocolate and coffee.

Lovely atmosphere and great place to go for brunch and catch up with friends. Hot drinks were really good, the food was very tasty and it’s a very instagramable place and plates! The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the waffles! It felt they were warmed up and not fresh. But I will definitely go back 😃

We were looking for somewhere local to meet up after a funeral at Lawnswood Cemetery. The Vine Deli was just perfect - an excellent afternoon tea that was simply delicious, a warm friendly atmosphere, and incredible flexibility when a few more people arrived than expected. i love this deli my husband goes everyday and gets coffee and me a ham salad, we are from Leeds and its defiantly worth the travel, i thought I'd try the steak pies and the quiche and honestly the best steak pie ever, my husband said the quiche was one of the best he had bought also, i will always buy from here now. The sandwiches are always so fresh, and the fresh orange juice is amazing I can't fault this place even if i try. 100% recommend to Friends and family. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming, can definitely tell the staff take pride in what they do. :)

We visited the 1066 Deli Bakery for the first time and I can honestly say I am impressed. Inside the store there are a variety of edible goods for sale ie, vegetables, fruit, biscuits, pop all Yorkshire products. At the back of the shop is the deli/bakery which offers a competitive menu of hot and cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes, tea, coffee etc. with a special's menu. The bakery has a wide selection of homemade cakes all at reasonable prices, friendly welcoming staff and no long waiting times.

Never Enough Thyme catered for a private party I hosted on 30/03/25 and both the food and service was outstanding! The buffet food including cheese board, antipasti grazing board, salads, sandwiches etc was beautifully presented and delivered to the venue. Everyone commented on how great the food was and the fact this was delivered on Mothers Day; which was a really busy day at the cafe; was above and beyond. Greatly appreciated and won’t hesitate to order again for another event.

A cute and cosy cafe on Yeadon High Street that was frequented for brunch . We ordered the veggie breakfast, eggs florentine and the American pancakes. Lovely swift service from the ladies. Very tasty food (although if Im being picky, the portions were small on the veggie brekkie and the pancakes) Great service and smiles all round. The coffee and juice was excellent. £36 well spent.

Amazing food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Desserts are amazing, outside seating with blankets if needed. If you haven't been yet, get yourself there. Also small selection of locally made Earings, bracelets and occasion cards. Great place to visit for just a coffee or Breakfast, or get the full lashings with lunch and a pudding. 5* Highly recommended. Also do takeout and afternoon teas & occasion platters. Perfect , relaxed and comfy seating indoors.

First time here and had a lovely breakfast in Sorella cafe today. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Very cosy and lovely. And 100% dog friendly.

The perfect place for a catch up with friends or a solitary naughty nibble. I just love Cafe Sorella, the food is tasty and well presented. I can definitely recommend the Cafe Sorella breakfast, the Sorella club sandwich and the soups. And the cakes? Well take your pick all yummy and VERY naughty! The coffee, however you take it, is great quality and there is also a good range of teas for those who are tea total. The staff couldn't be more friendly or more helpful. Service is prompt and efficient. There is always a smile and a cheerful greeting to welcome my visit. The decor is smart and contemporary without feeling cold and impersonal. Little ones are catered for with books and booster seats. What's not to like?? PS Get one of Glenda's famous scones to take home to keep the tasty vibe going!

Usually really good. Not today. The sandwiches had very little filling. Very very little. That was the first disappointment. Then we tasted it and were quite happy they were so tight. The bacon was uncooked. Not under done actually uncooked. Warmed through at best. The egg in one sandwich was a weird slice of scrambled rubber. And a stale biscuit for the child. At least the bin got to eat.

The family run cafe caters to all tastes. BEST cakes, amazing salads, delicious pancakes & the coffee is perfection. Contemporary decor with lovely and friendly staff. Great key staples like quality breakfast along with weekly surprises and a varied menu. Worth going in every week just to see what is new . With parking right outside it's my fave hangout spot with the husband or the girls :-)

We first visiting the pudding lab on the Harrogate food tour. Were we given a tasty cake to try and a delicious macaron. We like the coffee and service to much we came back the next day for coffee and a toasted sandwich which was so good ! Coffee is from a local distributor and is very good

I had one of, if not the best experience here with my daughter while travelling. We enjoyed our meal, including beverages and a sweet treat immensely, with the only thing better than the food was the service…chatted allergies concerns, received suggestions and even a recommendation for a nice post breakfast walk. During our 5 weeks in the UK our morning at the puddling lab ranks amongst our favourite spots 💞 I hope to be back one day 💞

Best afternoon tea ever! This was nothing like a standard afternoon tea as there was not a single piece boring sandwich or scone in sight. Every item was beautiful, unique and tasted absolutely delicious! The crème brûlée macaron was my favourite! The shop is very small and you have to preorder if you want the afternoon tea (you can take away or eat in the shop). It’s £25pp which I think is very reasonable given the high quality of the food. My 2 young kids shared one portion, and the staff kindly put in extra pieces so they didn’t have to fight, which was so lovely and thoughtful of them. All the staff were friendly and polite, making the whole experience even more special :)

Since moving to yeadon, I go nearly every week. It's is very friendly ,helpful with different dietary needs. Good menu for vegans . They will take care of customers, who become ill .I was very touch and even when your in a wheelchair they are helpful and if they will move furniture so it's acceptable. I love going and I went there to take my first date feeling so safe .food is homemade and so tastes

Came here with a friend today & it was just the loveliest cafe- such a good vibe & really lovely staff- the coffee was a 10/10 and the soup was LOVELY! really reasonably priced too! We came near closing time, and there was no rush or hurry they made us feel really chilled and comfortable <3 an excellent experience! I can’t wait to go back! x

We stopped by for a hot drink and breakfast after an appointment and thought it looked nice. Very busy even for a Tuesday morning but we liked the look of the place. Glad we did! I had scrambled eggs on toast and a cappucino and my husband had an americano (hot milk) and toast and marmalade. It’s not cheap in here but everything made to order and my scrambled eggs were the best I’ve had in years … light and fluffy served with lovely toast and the cappuccino was delicious. Husband enjoyed his meal too. Nice to bob in if you’re passing and they seem to have regulars too. Thank you, lovely visit and hope to return.

Superb family-run local business on Yeadon high street. Delicious food, catering for a lot of dietary requirements. Pay them a visit, eat local and support a small business.

We were passing through Wetherby on our way further north and needed something for lunch on a red hot Saturday. I got a beef, onion, and salad roll on spelt bread, which was fresh and tasted great. My wife picked up a sausage roll, which she said was OK, but as a tea aficionado, she loved the takeaway cuppa. All round, a really pleasant experience.

Need to be quick for certain items... and yet other items (pizza) seemingly never ready early doors. Very hit and miss to be honest. Pizza is great - if it's ready. Steak bake - same. It's a very tiny customer area so queues out the door are the norm... my mum worked there in the early 70's. Customer service? very good overall. Weekend help... young very pretty female staffers for the most part.....so when I'm told by one of these beauties something is sold out... having queued up for ages... I don't care.

Stopped off on the off chance of getting a breakfast bap on the way to Scotland.. We picked our own choice of baps and filling which they cooked fresh... We also had a lovely freshly made sandwich roll to takeaway for lunch to eat later. Loads of choices.. Well done.! . Full marks for excellent food and service.. The food was just perfect.. Wonderful friendly staff.. Wish we lived nearer... Would definitely do a detour to get ourselves replenished in the future.

Love this family run bakery. The breads and baked goods are fabulous. We especially love the baguettes, fruit chocolate flapjacks and sausage rolls too. We buy all our bread and baked goods from The Oven Door and have done for years now. Highly recommended.
