British restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Located in the heart of Leeds at the Victoria Quarter Arcades, The Ivy Victoria Quarter is a two-story restaurant known for its vibrant decor and British menu offerings. The restaurant's traditional green and gold Art Deco stylings create a stylish and elegant atmosphere, with outdoor seating available for sunny days. Renowned for its delectable afternoon tea, the venue features an art deco interior with gold leaf ceilings and a twenties-style bar.
We didn’t book, but decided to call in here to have a light bite and a glass of Prosecco in the outdoor dining area. The waiter, Jack, came straight over and offered us water. We chatted a little and he asked whether we were celebrating anything, and we told him that it was my birthday and that was our reason for being in Leeds. We explained we are only having a small plate because we have a meal booked later in the day. The food we had was amazing, I highly recommend the crab starter, it’s definitely a special dish. We finished our food and asked for the bill. Next, Jack walks over with a desert with a candle in it And it had a little chocolate saying happy birthday on it. I was over the moon and it made my day. I want to thank you so much for your kindness and amazing service. Jack is a credit to the Restaurant (which is absolutely stunning). A Service like this Is memorable for all the right reasons and I will probably never forget his kindness 🩷🩷🩷

We visited The Ivy, Leeds on July 16, 2025, to celebrate my daughter’s university graduation and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautiful, perfect for a special occasion. I had the prix fixe menu with duck salad, sea bass, side of mashed potatoes and crème brûlée — all delicious. One of my daughters had the same but chose the chocolate bombe, which was amazing too. Service was top-notch, our server was lovely and super attentive. Even the bathrooms were pretty! Highly recommend!

Wow..... Food is incredible and amazing service. My steak was so good, cooked to medium and the hake was so well presented. The wine was beautiful but the port was served at the perfect temperature, along with the cheese!

Gorgeous amazing restaurant & food. We booked & requested a window table & received one. Robbie G our server was amazing knowledgeable friendly attentive simply fantastic thanks for making our anniversary meal so memorable & special 😘 23July 2025

All of the staff were friendly. The restaurant was bright and welcoming. Our waiter was very attentive, explained that the gift voucher value I had for a cream tea could be used on the main menu instead. We had the cream tea. It was lovely. We got a large pot of tea each and 3 fresh, warm scones with cream & jam each. We were offered an extra tea bag each as we like strong tea! As it was my birthday, the waiter brought me a giant profiterole with a candle in it. A lovely touch.

We were at the Ivy having Sunday lunch this weekend What a lovely Sunday lunch it was 🙂 The service from the staff was very attentive and helpful not to mention how friendly they all were also We had three courses and a nice bottle of Malbec 🍷 😋 We’ll be back again soon for sure 💯

The place it self is fabulous it looks very classy, it just the service isn’t up to par with what it is. We ordered a desert the chocolate bomb, which was ok but not a wow. Portion wasn’t big either, repo ally the ice cream scoop. We also ordered morning and afternoon tea which were very light which was disappointing as the presentation was nice. Overall wouldn’t go again disappointing especially for being over 25 pounds and with 12% service charge.

Step into the past at Just Grand! Vintage Tearoom, a delightful cafe located in the heart of Leeds. The tearoom boasts a vintage interior with antique furniture and classic tea sets, offering a nostalgic experience reminiscent of 1940s and 50s Britain. Indulge in a traditional afternoon tea featuring an assortment of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, as well as an array of cakes and pastries.
Beautiful pink cafe with excellent customer service. We had the vegetarian afternoon tea and the food was extremely delicious and filling. The ambience is very pink and beautiful with vintage vibes and it has a cozy atmosphere. Delicious tea, sandwiches and treats at a reasonable price to treat yourself. Really loved it and will go again!

Lovely tea room. The chocolate brownie is the best I have ever tasted. Great attention to detail with the crockery & cutlery. Really lovely. A bit pricey but it's on the arcade & in centre of Leeds & dead quirky so that ix to be expected x ❤️ lovely girls too

Delicious afternoon tea for 2! One vegan and one traditional. Kind and friendly service. Good value. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as it was quiet! Love the decor and crockery.

A fabulous tea room. I used a gift voucher and pre booked as it was my first time in Leeds The afternoon tea was amazing. The ambiance was perfect , loved the the decor , the gorgeous Vintage tea pots, cups and saucers and embroidered tablecloths Everything was beautifully presented. The sandwiches were freshly made with delicious homemade scones and many varieties of cakes They cater very well for dietary requirements, I had pre ordered a gluten free afternoon tea for my husband. He was very impressed with the quality and choice of the sandwiches and homemade scone and cakes The young lady who served us was lovely, so attentive and welcoming Thank you for a memorable experience
Angela B — Google review
Fresh and homemade selection with their afternoon tea. A wide tea selection on their menu available for take away as well as whilst dining. I did book in advance using a voucher and would definitely return. The scones were incredible, we were given an option from the cakes and we're happy with what we picked. Not very large so if a big group definitely book in advance. Have locally knitted / crocheted blankets incase you get cold whilst here.

The afternoon tea set was perfect! Scones were so good 😚 The pots and dishes were just enough for feeling vintage atmosphere🫖

I've been here before and really enjoyed it but the reception yesterday was poor. We were looking for somewhere to have a cup of tea and had a little girl with us who wanted ice cream. They only serve ice-cream in the milkshakes, so said no they couldn't serve ice-cream on its own .... honestly! There wasn't another customer in the place. We left. How hard would it have been? Clearly they're well off for business and don't need customers.

Amazing place! Did a little girly baby shower afternoon tea and the staff was super helpful and the food was so yummy with pleasing fussy eaters. I got 2 little kids afternoon and they loved it! We went for traditional and Caribbean and everyone enjoy them. My personal fav was the scones, Yumm! With it begin a baby shower I was able to pre-order non-alcohol drinks. Would deffo recommend for any occasion or just a pop in during the week. Thanks so much!

Dakota Hotel Leeds offers chic rooms and suites, some with complimentary minibars, in a sophisticated setting. The hotel boasts sleek and luxurious decor with modern fittings, making it one of the most stylish accommodations in Leeds. Guests can enjoy high-end amenities such as high thread-count cotton sheets, 48-inch digital TVs with Sky and Sky Sports, and indulgent monsoon showers.
I stayed at Dakota this month for three nights for my wedding. We booked the biggest suite in the hotel and it was absolutely amazing. The team here are something special, they all care about their job so much and made our and our guests experience an absolute joy. The suite was worth every single penny and is truly luxurious. Without a doubt this is the best hotel in all of Leeds and surrounding areas. I will recommend you to everyone. Thank you so so much for making our wedding stay one to remember forever ❤️❤️

Outstanding , is the word that describes our stay. We stayed on the Sunday deal that includes breakfast and late check out. The Hotel check in staff have exceptional customer service skills. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and smells amazing. Room was beautiful. Bar ambience was good. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return

A great hotel in the centre of Leeds. A fine serving breakfast (although better options available nearby). Staff are excellent and incredibly accommodating, even accepting a parcel I’d shipped prior to arriving. Only area for improvement would be a few more basic amenities in the room such as cotton buds in the bathroom and a mini fridge for keeping water cold. Loved our stay and would happily return!
Callum T — Google review
We hosted our evening reception of our wedding here and what can I say. Best night of our lives. Our goal was to have a party, and it was just that!! From the get go, Alistair was amazing when it came to planning. We knew that we were going to be having our wedding lunch over at RBG, so we were arriving from 7pm on the evening. The planning was seamless. The communication was brilliant and I never once had any doubt or fear on Dakota (which as a bride LOL it can be real). We had meetings and catch ups about running of the night, and the team accommodated all of our requests which is great. We had the whole of the downstairs restaurant. We had the DJ set up by the bar without tables, which served as the best dance floor, and kept seating around the other side with the booths. We had a photo-booth in one of the rooms which is always a winner at a wedding. We had canapés come round in the evening (which were delicious), along with our wedding cake being served (which Chef cut up and sorted out for us - thanks Chef!!). The team working on the night were great - they were so nice, and on such a high along with everyone else. Shout out to George, Kyha, Jaden, Asher, Georgia, Fathia and Adelaide!! We have absolutely no faults with Dakota, it was so much fun and I wish we could do it all over again. The vibes were so high that my husband’s uncle actually thought we were in a club. Goal of having a party: completed, and then some!
Phoebe — Google review
An absolutely divine meal! I’m staying at the hotel and just popped downstairs for a convenient dinner option. The wagyu steak was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the truffle mash rich and luxurious, and the Caesar salad crisp and refreshing. The truffle mushroom ravioli starter was pure indulgence—silky, aromatic, and unforgettable. Every dish was exceptional! Kudos to the Dakota team for yet another exceptional experience.
Rajen N — Google review
Fabulous place. Lovely big rooms, super comfy beds and a great shower. The bar closed at 11pm though, thought residents would be able to get late drinks. Guy on reception said, "you can get room service" but no menus /QRs or anything in the room 🤷🏼‍♀️ Very close to the station, has loads of bars and restaurants within 100yards too. Going to make this my regular hotel when up in Leeds seeing our clients.
Emma H — Google review
One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The bed was really comfortable, the shades kept the room almost pitch black, we couldn’t hear any neighbors or people in the hallway. My one complaint was our bathroom door was squeaky (room 106).

Sunday lunch was absolutely incredible. José couldn't do enough for me. Such a great guy. Possibly the best dinner in Leeds. Thankyou to all the staff. Will definitely be coming back. 👌👌👌

We had a wonderful brunch, food was really nice and drinks were amazing. Our server Ella, was really nice, polite and attentive. 5 stars well earned

Lovely decor, we didn't book but it was very quiet when we arrived 1.30pm. Only two other tables occupied. No one came to great us or offered us a table, so we just seated ourselves. It was then a good 10 minutes until we were approached and our drink and food order were taken. A further 10 minutes for a coke to arrive, followed by a further long wait and then us to prompt for our water to be brought to us . We requested a highchair and one was provided, but unfortunately, it only had one of its straps which meant one of the parents had to sit with a hand on the chair to stop the baby sliping through. Starters came. They were piping hot and very, very tasty. Further long wait, to which we were starting to panic slightly as we had a train to catch but then the mains arrived. Well worth the wait as they were lovely. We had a couple of the lite bite steaks, great value and the steaks were cooked to perfection, well seasoned. The guy we spoke to as leaving was very friendly and lovely to talk to but unfortunately, the service was very poor considering how quiet it was. A shame because the food was very good.
Karen P — Google review
Appalling is the best I can say ! Light bulbs not working a filthy toilet with chewing gum stuck to the tiles the upholstered seating was badly stained on more than one of the chairs and sofas. filthy carpets … we were sat down given menus and on ordering not seating were informed that only one of the steaks of the four were available (we wanted three T bones) the pate was off the menu completely (old menu) two of us wanted to order that … plaster on the ceiling was cracked and missing, in fact the whole place is worn and in places dirty … we paid for drinks only half drunk and left in disgust Marstons should be ashamed avoid if possible … oh and 20 minute wait to order drinks and 15 for them to arrive.

Unfortunately, the bartender’s service was subpar and left a negative impression. I had a very disappointing experience with one of your bartenders during my visit for conference in your hotel. They were rude and made insulting remarks in front of other guests, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. This kind of behavior is not what I expect from a professional in hospitality, and it affected the overall atmosphere of the night. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I believe respectful service should be a basic standard for any establishment.

Came for a hen party on Saturday 14th June we had bottomless brunch and I have to say it was amazing, food was great and cocktails were lovely, I don’t remember the name of the lady that served us but she did an amazing job of looking after us and we will definitely visit again

Had my sisters wedding reception in the boardroom at lost and found on Albion place. Was an excellent day, felt very relaxed and in good hands with the team. The wedding party thoroughly enjoyed themselves and thought the room we had was lovely. Great service, tasty food (especially the bruschetta) great drinks. Planning the event was easy and communication was consistent and always had quick responses. They really helped make my sisters wedding reception perfect and stress free! Would definitely recommend for small/intimate wedding receptions.

Malmaison Leeds is a lavish hotel housed in a Victorian building, offering luxurious rooms and suites. The Chez Mal Brasserie at the hotel hosts festive events such as a four-course Christmas dinner with a glass of champagne upon arrival. The hotel's chic styling includes mood lighting, cozy chairs, and exclusive toiletries for guests to enjoy. This boutique hotel boasts vibrant and dramatic interiors with unique and artistic designs that combine classical and modern aesthetics, creating an unforgettable experience for guests.
Quiet and comfortable and convenient to train and shopping. We had two fabulous meals in the restaurant… the best since arriving in England. Thursday night half price steaks - flat iron and filet - and sides were cooked perfectly. Great desserts, too. Breakfast was better than that of our 5 star hotel in York. Fresh and hot with more options than the usual heavy English fare. Only one caveat, stairs from street to reception and the step down from tub/shower may be tricky for some.
Mary-Ellen M — Google review
We stayed here last Friday as we were taking in a concert at the arena, We chose this hotel specifically for the location, just a 15 min walk and close to the city centre. Easy to find when driving in and the car park booking (Q Parks) worked a treat, Check in was swift and easy, the room was ready 30 mins prior to check in which was a bonus. The upgraded room was nice, no problems with noise up on the 4th floor and the room facilities were as you would expect. Nothing flashy that blew your mind but it was a good size, very clean and a nice bathroom. Food wise we only ate Breakfast there and it was very good. I tried a bit of the chef's grenola and it was the best I have had anywhere, seriously. The full English was on point, a nice sized portion without going over the top. My only gripe would be the bar and breakfast area, it was too dark in there for my liking, I appreciate it's in the cellar so there wasn't much natural light but the decor was dark and drab too. It needs brightening up to put you in a good mood. Overall it was a great overnight stay, we go to Leeds often and we have stayed in numerous hotels but providing it remains competitively priced, it will be our go to hotel in the future
Mark J — Google review
What a lovely experience! We paid for an upgrade and it was well worth it. We loved the reward system in place for choosing not to have our room serviced or towels changed for the three nights we stayed. The tea/coffee etc. was replenished every day, as usual. We had virtually free cocktails for two nights with the vouchers issued to us. We were very happy, and the hotel did their bit for the environment, winners all round! On our last night, we ate in the restaurant, and it was wonderful. The creme brulee was especially impressive... The breakfasts were fantastic, beautifully presented and very very tasty. A really good selection of cooked options too, and beautifully cooked. I had the best eggs benedict ever! Quality ingredients too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the young girl in the restaurant and bar, she made our meal even more special. The young lady at reception (Zeinab) booked us in and out for our stay. She was so welcoming and interested about our visit to Leeds. We told her about our planned visit to the ballet and she asked if we had enjoyed it when we checked out! That's good service. So, top marks to this quirky hotel, we will be back. Had an afternoon tea. The food was wonderful, much better than just a few finger sandwiches and a scone. The staff where very friendly and helpful, when they found out we where celebrating our 50 wedding anniversary we where given a glass of champagne. Would recommend everyone to go and try it

Lovely hotel, last visited 6 years ago and still as good as it was the last time. Great vibe and ambiance, my room - a Club - was very large, extremely clean, and comfortable. Nice little touches like four Nespresso pods, fancy tea, nice biscuits and a couple of Ferraro Rochers. Beds incredibly comfortable, couldn’t hear any noise at all, and black out curtains kept out the light! It was my birthday stay and was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for two free cocktails in the hotel bar. The bartender was fab, environment was great - 10/10 all round for the stay and would def come back. Price/performance ratio excellent.
Rachel L — Google review
Great hotel and room, restaurant looked very good, although we didn't eat there on this occassion, fantastic proximity to the city centre with everything close by that you could possible want. Although we had a slight issue with the bathroom (coating peeling away from the bath) which meant we requested to change rooms (partner was looking forwards to having a soak all day!), the staff were great and resolved for us without issue or delay. For the sake of a little more than a typical budget hotel (such as one across the road), I'd happily confirm that its worth paying that little extra for the extra room and additional comforts such as a coffee machine, fridge (with 2 complimentary bottles of water) and bathrobes and slippers!

Five-Star Stay at Malmaison Leeds for Pride 🌈 Stayed at Malmaison Leeds during Pride weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The room was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable — a perfect base to relax and recharge during such a fun-filled weekend. A special shoutout to Lorna, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra memorable. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful — nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare to meet staff who genuinely care, and she made a real difference to our visit. The location is perfect for exploring the city and soaking up the Pride atmosphere. Thank you, Malmaison Leeds, for such a fabulous stay — we’ll definitely be back!

The Queens Hotel is a modern establishment housed in an impressive art deco building. Located in the heart of Leeds city center, it offers convenient access to the train station and various entertainment options. The hotel's elegant bar and grill restaurant provide a sophisticated dining experience, while its event space is suitable for special occasions. With valet parking available, guests can easily explore nearby attractions such as the Royal Armouries and the Yorkshire Dales.
Exceptional service for the price! The breakfast was delicious with an impressive variety of options. The location couldn’t be more convenient since you can literally roll your suitcase straight in from Leeds train station through the rear entrance. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. I accidentally left a small bag in my room after check-out, and when I called, they quickly retrieved it and kept it safely at reception for me to collect later. The on-site restaurant on the ground floor is also excellent — tasty dishes with a 10% discount for hotel guests. Definitely worth a try!

We stayed at the Queens hotel over a weekend as a couple and a dog. If you like Art Deco you'll love the hotel which has a classical style. The interiors of the public spaces on the ground floor are also well maintained and gorgeous. Even the staircases have a kind of shabby 1930s chic. We had a room facing the square on the first floor. The room was clean, well laid out, modern but sympathetic to the architecture and spacious. Windows were steel with secondary glazing and there was a little noise (Leeds is not a quiet city) but nothing to bother us. We didn't have a bath and the shower cubicle was fine, albeit a bit claustrophobic (and why can hotels NEVER manage to have showers that don't leak all over the floor). The hotel doesn't charge anything extra for dogs but equally isn't able to provide things like bowls for water etc (for "hygiene reasons") so come prepared. Staff were helpful and friendly, including late night security on the door. The hotel is right by the station, and has a connecting entrance, so is very convenient. No parking at the hotel but there are discounts at local car parks. I would definitely stay here again.

I love the Queens as a building, and I’ve stayed several times. But this time we were disappointed. The room was comfortable and well decorated but not well looked after. The bathroom was not properly clean with chipped paint on the door frames and tiles that hadn’t been cleaned properly. Even though I checked out well ahead of time, housekeeping will already trying to get into my room after I came back from breakfast and I felt that they were deliberately trying to rush me out. We were also really disappointed to find that room service finishes at 9 pm. So we tried the bar, to find that the bar food also finished at this time, And also that despite the hotel website saying that the restaurant is open until 1 am, we were told it had finished serving at 9:15, just after we got there. I realise the bar and restaurant are run by a different company but they are advertised as part of the hotel and so the fact that the staff there were offhand and unhelpful, bordering on rude does reflect back on the hotel itself. It also really isn’t acceptable that a hotel of this advertised quality does not provide any food after 9 pm at night. We’ve been back and stayed in Leeds since. We stayed somewhere else that is less beautiful and outwardly swanky. But the service was much better and the rooms were much cleaner and that is where we will stay in Leeds in future.

We stayed at The Queens Hotel in Leeds twice during our UK trip and both stays were very good. We were given quiet (as requested) spacious rooms with comfortable beds and good bathrooms with great showers!. The rooms had large TV’s and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included and was satisfactory, though the coffee was disappointing (luckily plenty of coffee shops nearby). Reception staff were excellent—friendly, personable and professional.

Amazing experience last night at this hotel for our wedding anniversary. Such a beautiful place, decor and architecture of the building is amazing. Couldn’t stop looking at it. Staff were exceptional. So kind and attentive. They left us a lovely gift for our anniversary. So kind . Will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay perfect 😍 xx

Lovely hotel with a stylish reception area. Staff are very friendly. Rooms a little on the small side for my liking but good value overall. Perfect location next to Leeds Train Station.

A very good room price that included breakfast and a bottle of prosecco. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and in a quiet situation. There are no phones in the room so contact within the hotel is via the Internet, facilitated by a QR code on the hotel card. The staff were very friendly and efficient throughout the hotel although Dean, who changed our tv remote deserves a special call-out. He was super quick, very efficient and extremely welcoming. The breakfast was of a good quality and well cooked. This all added up to a very enjoyable night away.

Nestled in 9 acres of serene woodland, Weetwood Hall Estate is a refined 17th-century manor house hotel located just outside Leeds center. The estate features contemporary rooms with modern amenities and complimentary car parking. Guests can enjoy the award-winning pub, The Stables, which offers a classic atmosphere and shows Sky Sports. Additionally, the hotel boasts a brasserie restaurant and meeting spaces for various events.
Stayed here for 1 night. Beds very comfortable, no issues with the room, nice, light, airy and spacious. The staff are very accommodating. Car park is a good size with EV charging points. don't forget to register your number plate on their system, there are numerous available. A very good-sized bar and restaurant. Breakfast was cheap and nice with lots of choice. There is a quaint welcoming pub on site that also serves food. The reception staff were extremely helpful. I had to wait round for a few hours waiting for my partner, There are pods in the reception area that have TVs in I was able to cast my phone to it and connect my ear phones and watch TV in peace and quiet. There is also a David Lloyd gym and spa on site. A very nice place that i would definitely return to!

I’ve been a loyal patron of Weetwood Hall in Leeds for over 20 years, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have left me incredibly disappointed. This used to be a fantastic venue, offering great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a perfect setting for both casual and special occasions. However, it seems that those days are long behind us. The management has taken a noticeable downturn, and the once exceptional service has completely disappeared. The staff, who were once attentive and friendly, now appear disinterested, unhelpful, and downright rude. On multiple occasions, I found myself waiting for extended periods to be served, only to be met with indifference. It’s truly shocking to see such a sharp decline in what was once a highly regarded establishment. I’d hoped that my long-standing loyalty to Weetwood Hall would be reflected in the service, but it's clear that the venue no longer values its regular customers. As much as I used to recommend it to friends and family, I can no longer do so with a clear conscience. The charm and quality that made Weetwood Hall a go-to spot for many years is gone, replaced with a lackluster approach to customer service. If you're considering visiting, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. It's one to avoid for the foreseeable future. Such a shame for what was once a fantastic place.

We came up from the Midlands with around 90 guests. Guests had booked 30+ rooms, as our son was getting married in Leeds. Staff were curtious, friendly and cooperative. Nothing was a problem. They even accommodated for families with babies and provided additional support without any hesitation and cost. Flexibility approach in support was exceptional. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you Weetwood Hall.

We had an amazing sleep and breakfast here last night. The rooms were really modern and clean. The breakfast was wide ranging to suit all tastes. Would highly recommend and we will be back next time we visit Leeds

I have frequented Weetwood hall over the years mostly for events or working on my laptop. I have always found it very pleasant and good staff service. I did have an issue crop up where their parking company issued me a charge, despite me being a customer. It only surfaced after a few years had already elapsed and had ballooned into a £175 charge. I took it to the Weetwood staff, and after a little bit of a battle with the parking company, it was ultimately dropped.

Nice clean hotel, I traveled with my wife our grand child and our dog. The only thing I would suggest you look at would be the breakfast seating. Where I understand dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area we were asked to sit in the reception area and you would lay the table. The problem was these were coffee tables and not really useful to eat your breakfast off as they are to low. Maybe this is something you look at, we wasn't offered anywhere else to sit.

Have been 3 times the first occasion we had a wonderful dinner with friendly attentive staff. The first occasion was great good food and staff. The second time saw a change of staff the chef used an experimental Chinese beef - universally agreed as inedible due to an excessive use of spice and salt. The manager was surly and unhelpful, a lovely waitress took the initiative and resolved the situation.

Had a lovely family lunch here one Sunday, it was rather quiet which is a shame as the venue is stunning. Very instagramable! The food is great too, we opted for a combination of tapas and main courses and it was all really tasty. Service very good and all staff friendly. We opted to be seated in a booth inside, most people were sat on the terrace area. I would love to go back and try the brunch with the girls! We tried their sister restaurant Nesso in Morley the other week, completely different vibe but just as good, worth a visit!

We came here for a baby shower, and we were in the back of the restaurant which was very nicely decorated. There was about 15 of us in total. We'd pre ordered food and drinks. I will say service was very bad. No staff were coming up to us to refill tap water even when we asked, to ask what drinks we wanted, nor did they bring any of the drinks we'd pre ordered unless we asked them more than once. The starters came relatively on time but after that we were waiting over an hour for food, and we'd asked them a couple of times. When the food came, it was quite cold and not that nice especially after such a long wait. It was hard to get any condiments too, salt and pepper shakers were empty. It seemed there were enough staff and the restaurant was quite empty so I don't know what took so long. Maybe for a small group it is okay but it wasn't really worth it for a larger gathering. Restaurant is otherwise pretty and has good options for food.

Arrived then waited 15 mins for a drink. Couldn’t believe when I saw dirty food on my fork ( see picture). Didn’t come with mushrooms as it described on the menu. Slow service compared to every other brunch I’ve done. The guy serving wasn’t to blame/ he was lovely. Just poor management. This was for a birthday so felt like it should’ve been special but it was a shambles. Just go somewhere else x

All food arrived as ordered and all together so we all were able to eat at the same time. The food was extremely nice and tasty. We can’t thank the staff and chef enough for the amazing experience we received. Thank you

Le Chalet is a delightful French bistro located in the heart of the city center. The restaurant boasts a cozy atmosphere with carefully selected traditional French dishes, including award-winning Yorkshire venison haunch steak and succulent seared pigeon breast. Guests can also enjoy a variety of breakfast and lunch options such as sandwiches, canapes, and eggs benedict.
We honestly feel like Le Chalet is one of the best kept secrets in Leeds! This was our third visit and it’s got consistently more enjoyable each time we have been! The staff (especially the owner/manager) are an absolute delight. They are always very friendly and welcoming plus, they know how to give each customer that personal touch when delivering their exceptional high level of customer service and always with a smile. Nothing is any hassle and they couldn’t be more accommodating! We have always felt valued at Le Chalet and this occasion was no exception! The range of options on the menu is adequately vast so, there really is something there for everyone with many unique items that you would struggle to find anywhere else! On this visit we had the hot afternoon tea, which we can not more highly recommend! It was quite literally the best Afternoon Tea we have ever had in every sense of the word! The portion sizes are fantastic, the taste and aromas are purely exotic and the presentation is mesmerising making the whole set up excellent value for money! Particular highlights for us were the chicken pasta bake and the mussels that tasted super fresh and were served piping hot! Every single item on our Afternoon Tea was exceptional quality and that is quite an accolade! Le chalet also had a huge range of beautiful teas with a whole array of fabulous flavours. Watching the flower petals gently open up as if they are blossoming in your drink if, you order the Jasmin fairies tea is a extraordinary added touch and bizarrely quite entertaining. Le Chalet itself has very special vibe and we certainly felt rather relaxed and comfortable during our visit! The layout, spread across two levels, has a bit of balcony feel to it and is spacious, bright and warmly decorated suited to all seasons. The gorgeous chandelier hanging over the lower part adds an exquisite air of class that’s almost breathtaking when you first see it. What gives Le Chalet that bit extra though, is the little one off touches that just simply make you feel good! On the counter there is a little bowl of tiny folded up pieces of paper with a small sign perched above that says take a quote. This little gesture made us leave not only feeling satisfied but, truly inspired and we think that’s a rare accomplishment for a cafe/restaurant! If you haven’t visited yet, you have no idea what you are missing. We are already looking forward to our next visit very much! Le chalet isn’t just the jewel in the crown, it’s the precious Pearl!

Absolutely gorgeous selection of cakes, pastries and sandwiches afternoon tea. Visited with a large group for a birthday and the service and staff were amazing. The live music was really lovely and just the cherry on top of the whole experience! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to enjoy finger food as a light lunch, delicious scones, and a lovely atmosphere!

The very rustic feel of the place really will take you to France, interior and general esthetics of the restaurant feel authentic. BUT the food is just the cherry on top will make you drool before you even take a bite, anything with their inhouse baked bread will leave you wanting to come back every morning and so you can spice things up try one of the MANY teas on the menu :)

Eggs Benedict opted for the option of bacon instead of ham with a side of mushrooms. The food was piping hot, eggs runny as I like them and truly delicious. A Cappucino which was also hot and tasted extremely creamy. 😋 service was spot on. Just felt the ambience was not really french as Le Chalet would suggest.

Cha Lounge is a charming and ethical cafe and bar located in central Leeds, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a rustic setting. It is popular among families for its excellent Little Ones menu featuring various breakfast options at affordable prices. The cafe's zero-waste approach adds to its warm and welcoming vibe, with a focus on serving seriously good food and drinks. The menu includes sumac-roasted tomatoes that can be topped with eggs or bacon, as well as vegetarian options.
What a great place to eat! It’s warm, it’s cosy and the food is amazing! Our lunch of sandwiches was very tasty and the portions very generous. Good gf and vegetarian options on the very comprehensive menu. Close by there was a large party of people of all ages having the most sumptuous of meals with so many different cakes, pastries and sandwiches-a veritable feast! A nice touch was the arrival of my pot of tea together with an egg timer set to run out as the perfect brew point was reached. Lots of seating options including settees. I as Leo liked the idea of being able to order and pick up groceries. This is definitely somewhere that I will visit again; highly recommended!

A Pleasant and Relaxing Spot Environment The café has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decoration and a charming variety of chairs and tables that give it character. Large windows allow in plenty of natural light, and its location on a quiet street adds to the relaxed setting. Food and Drink There’s a wide range of food and coffee options available, offering the variety you’d expect from a good café. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, which is a welcome touch. The prices for coffee are particularly reasonable, making it great value. Service The staff were kind and welcoming, striking a good balance between attentiveness and giving space. Their friendly manner made me feel at ease and added to the overall enjoyable experience. Overall A lovely place for a peaceful break or a catch-up with friends. I’d be happy to visit again.

Afternoon tea, normal finger sandwiches, sausage roll, lovely scones, v sweet cakes. Of all the afternoon teas we've been to, this has the least food for 2. V posh tea with timer to brew for perfect cuppa. Love the chilled rustic decor, comfy sofas. Can't fault service. Went at quiet time of the week. Would go again.

Stopped in here on a sunny Saturday and the atmosphere was nice and chill with the full length window open. Staff are super friendly and really helpful. We ordered the samosas but as we got there close to closing, we were told the last ones left were not perfect and offered us them smashed and mixed with the sauces and veg as a chaat, it was amazing! The eggs and salmon tasted super fresh and the daal was delicious. Loved the fact that on the menu needs I told you about all the ingredients came from. And of course we could not leave out the amazing chocolate flapjack 🤤🤤 and great drinks. Will certainly be returning and recommending.

If ever there is a friendly neighbourhood cafe where everyone knows your name and treats you like a rockstar, Cha Lounge is it. The cafe has eclectic and warm décor that makes you feel like you've transported into another world. The menu has such a nice variety, and they cater to a variety of dietary needs. You just need to tell them and they will personalise any dish for you. They also have an impressive amount of loose leaf chas to try, so there's every reason to keep going back for more. During lockdown, Cha Lounge came through in supporting the local community by organising fresh veg boxes and groceries for those who wanted to buy local or were sceptical of going to supermarkets. Later, they expanded to afternoon and cream tea sets that were perfect for date night or picnics. Once I bought a veg box from them, I couldn't go back to a box chain supermarket anymore. Dining-wise, I cannot recommend their brunch highly enough. You can taste that their ingredients are high quality and fresh. My niblings especially love Gemma's pancakes. We have also gone to a few of their curry nights which we thought was very delicious. If you're ever in Dock Street, do pop in and say hi, even if all you're getting is a takeaway cha.

I love a good quality breakfast and I’m so happy to have found this place. It’s now my goto place for breakfast when I’m in Leeds. Every item was cooked to perfection, those tomatoes were the most flavoursome tomatoes I’ve ever tasted. The scrambled egg was seasoned just right. The owner Mandeep so super friendly and welcoming. It’s clearly run by a team who are passionate about making good food and providing a nice place to eat it in. I would highly recommend this place to anyone stopping in Leeds. I will return again 100% Thanks again for a great breakfast.

The Cha Lounge is a new establishment based on healthy eating and ethical food sourcing. It is small, rustic and relaxing. There are hot and cold beverages, freshly prepared with no or minimal processing of ingredients. There are both hot and cold foods and plenty of vegetarian options. Many of the options are snack or street type foods especially Indian. The premises are very clean as are the washroom facilities. A great place to just drop in, enjoy a light meal and or a drink.

I had a beautiful experience and I will definitely revisit. Getting off the lift, the reception from staff and atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed all the meals I ordered and also tried the cauliflower steak (it was my first time trying a vegetarian dish and it was delicious). I also loved the idea of savouring my meal while seated in a room filled with plants. Stunning food, great service. We had a fantastic experience. We asked to share our starters, no problem at all. We had asparagus and the scallops. Both beautiful. The lamb was beautiful too very tastes and cooked medium rare which is just how I like it. I am sure they would cook it to your preference. , I had it with the blackened carrots. Cod was so chunky too and cooked to perfection. We were so full but we had the cheeseboard and again it was delicious and even put on extra crackers! Lovely birthday and anniversary treat we Will definitely be back Thank you!

My partner and I visited for the first time a couple weekends ago and we absolutely loved it! Staff are welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely. For starters I ordered the asparagus, which I had never tried before and was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ordered the mackerel, which was a tiny bit salty for his own tastebuds but still really enjoyed. We had the steak and the duck breast for mains and both dishes were incredible. Sticky toffee pudding to finish and wow! So delicious. The staff even brought a complimentary glass of champagne and small pudding for my boyfriends birthday. The attention to detail at craft house is immaculate. We both absolutely loved our experience there and cannot wait to go again.

Well, can I give a sixth star? What a great night we've had at Crafthouse, the welcoming, the venue and the care we received from the staff was very professional throughout the all experience. I booked for my girlfriend birthday celebrations and left a message due to dietary requirements, few minutes later I received a phone call from reception and they reassured me that all our needs will be met, she was right! The menu is great, and the execution of the dishes was faultless, superb so was the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The floor staff is very knowledgeable and caring, all I have left to say is that I'll be dining at Crafthouse over and over again, I can't wait!

Really good food, the pork shoulder, scallops, olives, foccacia bread, and the cod were just sublime. The manager was really good and the waiters too. Truly recommended
Sara C — Google review
Sadly I think that Crafthouse has gone downhill. I have visited multiple times over the years that it has been open, but I think this will likely be my last visit. The food was good, and the staff all very pleasant. Portions were good, and the food was good value for money. However, for a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide I would expect a higher level of service. The main issues seemed to stem from a very disjointed link between the drink orders and the food orders.. For example we ordered cocktails as an aperitif, yet they arrived during our first course (having an ice cold cocktail to accompany hot soup is just not good enough). Our butter was taken away before we had finished our bread, we asked for a second bottle of water that never appeared, and the heavy bass/noise from the bar upstairs did come across more as noise as opposed to atmosphere. It's not a bad place to visit: the food was on the whole very good, but overall the experience was not worth the money and it's the first time I have ever asked for the service charge to be removed.
Gavin B — Google review
You need to know where you're going to find this place as hidden away. Set on the 3rd floor you take a lift and are met by staff. We sat outside as a lovely night and it was very pleasant. We asked for cocktails and placed our order saying that we didn't want starter until cocktails finished. They came when we were still only halfway through 🤨 Then we were almost onto our main course with no bottle of wine and had to remind them. Starters of tuna tatiki and the asparagus were very good. Mains of duck and the stone bass also good but I wasn't keen on the celeriac sauce . The extra chips were great and could have had more of them. A nice bottle of rosé completed meal and it came to £140 with surcharge. Nice staff but just wish they'd listened to our request.

They have a simple list of rules for guests, to help keep the cats safe and avoid them becoming stressed. The cafe itself is very spacious, with lots of comfortable seating, and plenty of places for the cats to hide and climb. The cats were all obviously healthy and well cared for, with a variety of personalities (purrsonalities?) on display, from the relaxed to the curious, the playful to the ones with the zoomies! You’re free to roam around the cafe and interact with the cats, and it was fun to spot some of the ones hiding or playing with each other. The menu had a good variety of food and drinks to choose from. I had the cheese & onion toastie, the chocolate & cherry cake, and a Coke. The food was delicious, and there was plenty more on the menu that I hope to try in future. I will definitely visit the cafe again next time I’m in Leeds, and I would recommend it anyone else who is in the area too!

Visited Kitty Café in Leeds this afternoon for the first time. The customer service was friendly and welcoming, and it was nice to spend some time with the cats. We did see quite a few kittens that looked very young, which left us wondering if such little ones might be better kept somewhere quieter until they’re ready to mingle. A few of the cats also seemed a bit anxious, which made the environment feel different compared to other cat cafés we’ve visited. The place itself was quite lively at times a bit hectic. Our tea and sides took a little while to arrive, but nothing unmanageable. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the city and want some time with cats, just keep in mind it can feel a little busier and less calm than you might expect. Probably not somewhere we’d rush back to, but glad we experienced it once.

I have visited the Kitty Cafe a few times and it's always a great time. The cats are really sweet and it's fun to watch them. The staff are seen to be cleaning tables and the cafe frequently. I do think there should be an age limit of children coming to the cafe, as this is the cats home, and they aren't there for on demand entertainment. Other cat cafes i have visited in the UK tend to have a '7 and over' limit for example, which appears to be a calmer environment for the cats. The staff are seen to be loving and caring to the cats.

Good tasting food. Great tea. I've been going nearly weekly now during my time away from home because I miss my cats. The first time Web immediately came up to me before I had any food and cuddled up to me purring non stop. The second time there were very playful kittens frequently playing in front of me. Great for feline company

Took a friend here for her birthday, it is expensive to go in, but as it is a charity I do not mind. You are allocated an hour but we were there well over an hour as it wasn't too busy. Food and drink are reasonably priced, food was lovely. Lots of staff on hand if you have questions about the cats. It's worth visiting, it was my 2 nd visit.

First time visiting with my 10 & 11 year old daughters. Fantastic experience, staff were very friendly, service was quick and the cats were so adorable! Will be visiting again!
Fiona P — Google review
We absolutely loved our time there. Went in the morning on a Thursday (during school term time), was quiet so we got to enjoy the attention of the cats mainly on us! They were a wide variety of cats, ages and colours, most of them did seem friendly and happy to be petted (it’s completely understandable if some want time alone) A special shout out to the tabby kitten Kyzer, such an adorable, friendly and cheeky little furrball! We really enjoyed our time there, we were 2 adults and 1 child, felt the staff were really friendly, hard working and helpful even when our hot chocolate was toppled over by a hyper kyzer! Did not feel discriminated against due to being people of colour and different faith, despite previous reviews.

For first time I have visited kitty cafe in Leeds with my Daughter and it was amazing place. My daughter she is a cat lover so she was very excited to go there. A lots of cats around. Some of them are still young so are happy to play with visitors. The adults one spent more time slept so I suggest do not pet them. They may bite. Session is one hour and you have to book it online. Cafe is very busy. Price per adult is 8£ for kids is 6£. There is no age limit for kids like there cat cafe. Menu quite big, foods and drinks. We try margarita pizza and j2o and iced latte for drink and was really good. Definitely we will go there often. There are few carpark around but I suggest Victoria multistorey. Cheapest, 6£ for two hours and five minuts walk to Caffè.

The Golden Acre Park Tea Room is a charming spot nestled in one of Leeds' most picturesque parks. Visitors can enjoy a delightful al fresco afternoon tea experience surrounded by nature. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with the option to sit on the terrace or inside the conservatory-style tea rooms. The menu features delicious sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and accompanied by a side salad.
Golden acre is a beautiful park, albeit with some dodgy parking. But the tea room is gorgeous, sit on the terrace if the weather permits or inside the conservatory style tea rooms. Sandwiches are great, good bread and fresh ingredients and accompanying salad. The coffee was good however the flat white was not as strong as my personal taste would prefer. I have not tried the breakfast menu as it stops at 11 or 11:30 and I've only arrived just after. 5 stars if this was good and served all day.
Brooke R — Google review
Lovely little cafe to sit and have lunch in after strolling around the park. They have baby changing facilities, too (if you need 'em). I had the hot dog with chilli & cheese and proper loved it. My wife had the bacon, brie & cranberry panini and also loved it. There's free parking just the other side of Otley Road with a pedestrian underpass. And the park itself is beautiful, as well.
Matt A — Google review
We popped in for a late afternoon walk and drinks at the park. Friendly and helpful Café team. We hope to visit again for a proper lunch soon. From our walk, it is easy to feel the effects of an extremely dry summer, green spaces aren't showing any joy at all! Car park pay machines were not working, I guess everyone visiting yesterday saved up a little bit and spent more at the Café.
Fisani M — Google review
I went to the park because it said the cafe was dog friendly with its outside seating. It has that. But as a single guy I can’t go in the cafe to order with the dogs. When I asked if someone could come outside and serve me, first I was just ignored, on repeating the request I was told bluntly NO. So if you are single with a dog don’t go here. You won’t get served, just treated like dog shit. It’s such a shame. So many places have cottoned on to this but not this place.
Andrew B — Google review
Lots of seating, tables, dogs allowed in outside areas on lead but not in cafe. Thought a bit pricey given size of cakes etc but like everything no bargains or they'd all be snapped up. Good choice of hot/cold drinks and food including vegetarian. We had a robin join us in the sheltered section!
Ilona R — Google review
Visited whilst in the area, glad we did. Cafe is well stocked with delicious cakes & hot food. Coffee is good. The gardens are beautiful with lots of bird life around the Lake. Worth a trip if you are in the area.

A lovely cafe in the grounds of Golden Acre Park. Gets busy around lunch on warm, sunny days. Nice seating areas outside and in. Reasonably priced for such a place. Toilets and baby changing facilities on site.

Advertising everywhere for Northern Bloc ice cream and the vegan flavour. Queued for 10 minutes only to be told they don’t stock northern bloc anymore. Maybe take down your signage as it’s just confusing for everyone 😡

The Woodlands Hotel is an elegant boutique hotel located in the village of Gildersome, just a short distance from Leeds city center. The hotel offers 23 individually furnished rooms and suites with luxurious amenities such as fluffy bathrobes and DVD libraries. Guests can indulge in gourmet dining at the Mulsanne restaurant, which features locally sourced produce and overlooks the beautiful gardens.
I cannot express how much I love this hotel. It has a beautiful setting and the friendliest , most helpful staff. My family and I stayed in May for two birthday celebrations and they were both spoilt and loved it. Yorkshire hospitality at its best.
John H — Google review
It is a beautiful location and setting. The staff team were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, but it needed a bit of TLC as the child's camp beds had seen better days, and the sheets needed a hotter wash. Breakfast was lovely, although a little slow due to under staffing. It was child friendly, and the grounds were well maintained.
Colette M — Google review
Afternoon Tea; I came here with my friend and sister for a little catch up, after a recommendation from a friends daughter who attended a wedding here. The service was a little slow, even though we were the only ones in the dining room. We were not impressed with the afternoon tea, it was definitely not worth the £24.50 each we paid for it. From the advertising photos we expected delicate little finger sandwiches and cute dainty cakes, what we got were dry scones and big lumps of sponge cake surrounding a slab of custard tart. Overall a disappointing experience, we won't be returning!
Choi S — Google review
We went to the Woodlands for a wedding. It’s a great spot, the grounds are lovely, you’d never think you were so close to such major roads. We just went to the evening do, the staff were great, the drinks reasonably priced and the food was tasty. It was a hog roast, now, I don’t eat meat, so am probably biased, but I hated seeing the pigs head on display. There were plenty of vegan things though for me to choose from in the menu chosen by the bride and groom. Room was good, bed comfy. The basin in the bathroom was minuscule, really hard to wash your face. They lost a star because of the basin, it was that small and hard to use, and for the pigs head being out.

I came for a wedding. I'm not staying in a room so I can't comment, but the lamb meal we had was absolutely delicious. I would very much recommend this place for food at the very least its delicious!

We just had our neices wedding here, 11/4/25, the ceremony was amazing. They even tented a childs soft play area for our children to play, a lovely touch. The bedroom for us was ok, a little small with a travel cot but it was all made up with a beautifal private garden area. The staff were amazing, especially Sarah Hews on reception, she was very friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Made us feel at home and could go to her if we needed anything. A lovely venue.

Nestled in the picturesque Roundhay Park, The Mansion is a stunning Grade-II listed venue that beautifully combines history with elegance. This luxurious country house estate offers breathtaking park views and serves exquisite British cuisine, making it an ideal spot for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations. With its charming arched windows, polished wooden floors, and airy ambiance, The Mansion provides a perfect backdrop for afternoon tea or elegant dining experiences.
I recently visited the mansion in Leeds to photograph a gorgeous wedding. The venue itself was fabulous, well kept and well run. The wedding coordinator ordinator was incredibly friendly, took time to explain the way they ran weddings and took the time to go through the itinerary with me which is very rare. The grounds are stunning, and the staff all so very friendly. It was a fabulous day at work ❤️

The Santa experience was brilliant. The Santa and elf Hannah were amazing. The singing and little stories were funny and great to join in! The experience in santas work shop was amazing, the decoration and time was great. The afternoon tea was delicious! Thank you! 🤩

Lovely Spot with a Great View, But Toilets Need Attention I recently visited the Mansion Café at Roundhay Park, and I was really impressed with the beautiful view and the overall location. It’s a perfect spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the surrounding scenery. The coffee itself was excellent, and the café has a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. However, the only downside was the condition of the toilets. Unfortunately, they were quite dirty, unclean, and there was a strong unpleasant smell. This really took away from what could have been a perfect visit. Hopefully, management can address this issue soon, as it would make the experience even better.

We had the best time meeting santa. From the moment we walked in we felt christmas all around us. The staff did a great job. The afternoon tea was very nice, but it was all about santa and he did not let us down. From amazing dancing and singing to lovely chats. Well worth the visit. Thank you to all involved.

Not only is the view of roundhay park and this glorious old manor house simply breathtaking, but the food and service were superb. The loaded nachos and the potato and leek soup were by far the best of either that I have ever had, and their hot beverages were equally pleasing. The little art gallery tucked next to the Cafe is a lovely way to end a visit as well.
Kath M — Google review
Honestly we felt quite spoilt. A delightful afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings. The knowledgeable staff talked us through all the different teas available (of which there were many) After some tastings I went with a delicate green tea tasting of cherry. This paired well with the sandwiches, scones and cakes. Yum.

First time visiting! Perfect location as we live in Phoenix. Sausage and bacon sandwich was absolutely gorgeous❤️‍🔥 Great prices. I will definitely be a regular!

Literally just been here. Nothing wrong with the standard of the sandwich but the price is warranted by neither the size or quality. I ordered a BEST, it was a standard BEST, nothing special but it was the portion size that shocked me. Who puts 1 sausage on a sandwich? £5.50?

If you're on the hunt for a delightful afternoon tea experience, look no further than Afternoon Tea at The Queens. This quintessentially British tradition features an array of crustless sandwiches, delectable desserts, and freshly baked scones that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Guests rave about the extensive selection of leaf teas available, from classic breakfast blends to fruity red berry options.
***This review has now been updated with a much less glowing review for a repeat visit on 31 Dec 2023.*** Absolutely fantastic afternoon tea. So many tasty treats we struggled to eat them all ….. but we prepared ourselves by skipping lunch and visiting late afternoon, so just about managed to clear the plates. Excellent choice of leaf tea to accompany ranging from traditional breakfast and earl grey to red berries. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and made us feel nothing was a trouble. Totally going again. Special mention for the menu as one of our group has a severe nut allergy- no nuts in the treats and they showed us the matrix so we could see the ingredients etc. A little touch that was reassuring. Thank you Team Grand Pacific @ The Queens.

Had a wonderfull time at grand pacific for afternoon tea with my good friend who came from london. Lovely food . Waitress very accomadating n polite. Lovely surroundings ..gave 4 stars because of one thing . We ordered two afternoon tea special s n had 80% of sweet dish left over..so wanted to take home. But were told we couldnt because of natashas law.. i was very bemused . We have had lots of high end afternoon teas n never heard of this before anywhere in london..or york or harrogate. My husband who works in this line n said ruling is with pre SEALED food needs to be labelled properly. Not food which is left over...so would like a more precise answer. In this day of price hikes everywhere its such a waste.....otherwise lovely day...
