Dakota Hotel Leeds offers chic rooms and suites, some with complimentary minibars, in a sophisticated setting. The hotel boasts sleek and luxurious decor with modern fittings, making it one of the most stylish accommodations in Leeds. Guests can enjoy high-end amenities such as high thread-count cotton sheets, 48-inch digital TVs with Sky and Sky Sports, and indulgent monsoon showers.
I stayed at Dakota this month for three nights for my wedding. We booked the biggest suite in the hotel and it was absolutely amazing. The team here are something special, they all care about their job so much and made our and our guests experience an absolute joy. The suite was worth every single penny and is truly luxurious. Without a doubt this is the best hotel in all of Leeds and surrounding areas. I will recommend you to everyone. Thank you so so much for making our wedding stay one to remember forever ❤️❤️

Outstanding , is the word that describes our stay. We stayed on the Sunday deal that includes breakfast and late check out. The Hotel check in staff have exceptional customer service skills. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and smells amazing. Room was beautiful. Bar ambience was good. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return
Jo M — Google review
A great hotel in the centre of Leeds. A fine serving breakfast (although better options available nearby). Staff are excellent and incredibly accommodating, even accepting a parcel I’d shipped prior to arriving. Only area for improvement would be a few more basic amenities in the room such as cotton buds in the bathroom and a mini fridge for keeping water cold. Loved our stay and would happily return!

We hosted our evening reception of our wedding here and what can I say. Best night of our lives. Our goal was to have a party, and it was just that!! From the get go, Alistair was amazing when it came to planning. We knew that we were going to be having our wedding lunch over at RBG, so we were arriving from 7pm on the evening. The planning was seamless. The communication was brilliant and I never once had any doubt or fear on Dakota (which as a bride LOL it can be real). We had meetings and catch ups about running of the night, and the team accommodated all of our requests which is great. We had the whole of the downstairs restaurant. We had the DJ set up by the bar without tables, which served as the best dance floor, and kept seating around the other side with the booths. We had a photo-booth in one of the rooms which is always a winner at a wedding. We had canapés come round in the evening (which were delicious), along with our wedding cake being served (which Chef cut up and sorted out for us - thanks Chef!!). The team working on the night were great - they were so nice, and on such a high along with everyone else. Shout out to George, Kyha, Jaden, Asher, Georgia, Fathia and Adelaide!! We have absolutely no faults with Dakota, it was so much fun and I wish we could do it all over again. The vibes were so high that my husband’s uncle actually thought we were in a club. Goal of having a party: completed, and then some!

An absolutely divine meal! I’m staying at the hotel and just popped downstairs for a convenient dinner option. The wagyu steak was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the truffle mash rich and luxurious, and the Caesar salad crisp and refreshing. The truffle mushroom ravioli starter was pure indulgence—silky, aromatic, and unforgettable. Every dish was exceptional! Kudos to the Dakota team for yet another exceptional experience.

Fabulous place. Lovely big rooms, super comfy beds and a great shower. The bar closed at 11pm though, thought residents would be able to get late drinks. Guy on reception said, "you can get room service" but no menus /QRs or anything in the room 🤷🏼‍♀️ Very close to the station, has loads of bars and restaurants within 100yards too. Going to make this my regular hotel when up in Leeds seeing our clients.
Emma H — Google review
One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The bed was really comfortable, the shades kept the room almost pitch black, we couldn’t hear any neighbors or people in the hallway. My one complaint was our bathroom door was squeaky (room 106).

Sunday lunch was absolutely incredible. José couldn't do enough for me. Such a great guy. Possibly the best dinner in Leeds. Thankyou to all the staff. Will definitely be coming back. 👌👌👌

The Queens Hotel is a modern establishment housed in an impressive art deco building. Located in the heart of Leeds city center, it offers convenient access to the train station and various entertainment options. The hotel's elegant bar and grill restaurant provide a sophisticated dining experience, while its event space is suitable for special occasions. With valet parking available, guests can easily explore nearby attractions such as the Royal Armouries and the Yorkshire Dales.
Exceptional service for the price! The breakfast was delicious with an impressive variety of options. The location couldn’t be more convenient since you can literally roll your suitcase straight in from Leeds train station through the rear entrance. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. I accidentally left a small bag in my room after check-out, and when I called, they quickly retrieved it and kept it safely at reception for me to collect later. The on-site restaurant on the ground floor is also excellent — tasty dishes with a 10% discount for hotel guests. Definitely worth a try!
Yutong Y — Google review
We stayed at the Queens hotel over a weekend as a couple and a dog. If you like Art Deco you'll love the hotel which has a classical style. The interiors of the public spaces on the ground floor are also well maintained and gorgeous. Even the staircases have a kind of shabby 1930s chic. We had a room facing the square on the first floor. The room was clean, well laid out, modern but sympathetic to the architecture and spacious. Windows were steel with secondary glazing and there was a little noise (Leeds is not a quiet city) but nothing to bother us. We didn't have a bath and the shower cubicle was fine, albeit a bit claustrophobic (and why can hotels NEVER manage to have showers that don't leak all over the floor). The hotel doesn't charge anything extra for dogs but equally isn't able to provide things like bowls for water etc (for "hygiene reasons") so come prepared. Staff were helpful and friendly, including late night security on the door. The hotel is right by the station, and has a connecting entrance, so is very convenient. No parking at the hotel but there are discounts at local car parks. I would definitely stay here again.
Chris M — Google review
I love the Queens as a building, and I’ve stayed several times. But this time we were disappointed. The room was comfortable and well decorated but not well looked after. The bathroom was not properly clean with chipped paint on the door frames and tiles that hadn’t been cleaned properly. Even though I checked out well ahead of time, housekeeping will already trying to get into my room after I came back from breakfast and I felt that they were deliberately trying to rush me out. We were also really disappointed to find that room service finishes at 9 pm. So we tried the bar, to find that the bar food also finished at this time, And also that despite the hotel website saying that the restaurant is open until 1 am, we were told it had finished serving at 9:15, just after we got there. I realise the bar and restaurant are run by a different company but they are advertised as part of the hotel and so the fact that the staff there were offhand and unhelpful, bordering on rude does reflect back on the hotel itself. It also really isn’t acceptable that a hotel of this advertised quality does not provide any food after 9 pm at night. We’ve been back and stayed in Leeds since. We stayed somewhere else that is less beautiful and outwardly swanky. But the service was much better and the rooms were much cleaner and that is where we will stay in Leeds in future.
Claire W — Google review
We stayed at The Queens Hotel in Leeds twice during our UK trip and both stays were very good. We were given quiet (as requested) spacious rooms with comfortable beds and good bathrooms with great showers!. The rooms had large TV’s and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included and was satisfactory, though the coffee was disappointing (luckily plenty of coffee shops nearby). Reception staff were excellent—friendly, personable and professional.

Amazing experience last night at this hotel for our wedding anniversary. Such a beautiful place, decor and architecture of the building is amazing. Couldn’t stop looking at it. Staff were exceptional. So kind and attentive. They left us a lovely gift for our anniversary. So kind . Will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay perfect 😍 xx

Lovely hotel with a stylish reception area. Staff are very friendly. Rooms a little on the small side for my liking but good value overall. Perfect location next to Leeds Train Station.
Richard H — Google review
A very good room price that included breakfast and a bottle of prosecco. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and in a quiet situation. There are no phones in the room so contact within the hotel is via the Internet, facilitated by a QR code on the hotel card. The staff were very friendly and efficient throughout the hotel although Dean, who changed our tv remote deserves a special call-out. He was super quick, very efficient and extremely welcoming. The breakfast was of a good quality and well cooked. This all added up to a very enjoyable night away.

Malmaison Leeds is a lavish hotel housed in a Victorian building, offering luxurious rooms and suites. The Chez Mal Brasserie at the hotel hosts festive events such as a four-course Christmas dinner with a glass of champagne upon arrival. The hotel's chic styling includes mood lighting, cozy chairs, and exclusive toiletries for guests to enjoy. This boutique hotel boasts vibrant and dramatic interiors with unique and artistic designs that combine classical and modern aesthetics, creating an unforgettable experience for guests.
Quiet and comfortable and convenient to train and shopping. We had two fabulous meals in the restaurant… the best since arriving in England. Thursday night half price steaks - flat iron and filet - and sides were cooked perfectly. Great desserts, too. Breakfast was better than that of our 5 star hotel in York. Fresh and hot with more options than the usual heavy English fare. Only one caveat, stairs from street to reception and the step down from tub/shower may be tricky for some.
Mary-Ellen M — Google review
We stayed here last Friday as we were taking in a concert at the arena, We chose this hotel specifically for the location, just a 15 min walk and close to the city centre. Easy to find when driving in and the car park booking (Q Parks) worked a treat, Check in was swift and easy, the room was ready 30 mins prior to check in which was a bonus. The upgraded room was nice, no problems with noise up on the 4th floor and the room facilities were as you would expect. Nothing flashy that blew your mind but it was a good size, very clean and a nice bathroom. Food wise we only ate Breakfast there and it was very good. I tried a bit of the chef's grenola and it was the best I have had anywhere, seriously. The full English was on point, a nice sized portion without going over the top. My only gripe would be the bar and breakfast area, it was too dark in there for my liking, I appreciate it's in the cellar so there wasn't much natural light but the decor was dark and drab too. It needs brightening up to put you in a good mood. Overall it was a great overnight stay, we go to Leeds often and we have stayed in numerous hotels but providing it remains competitively priced, it will be our go to hotel in the future
Mark J — Google review
What a lovely experience! We paid for an upgrade and it was well worth it. We loved the reward system in place for choosing not to have our room serviced or towels changed for the three nights we stayed. The tea/coffee etc. was replenished every day, as usual. We had virtually free cocktails for two nights with the vouchers issued to us. We were very happy, and the hotel did their bit for the environment, winners all round! On our last night, we ate in the restaurant, and it was wonderful. The creme brulee was especially impressive... The breakfasts were fantastic, beautifully presented and very very tasty. A really good selection of cooked options too, and beautifully cooked. I had the best eggs benedict ever! Quality ingredients too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the young girl in the restaurant and bar, she made our meal even more special. The young lady at reception (Zeinab) booked us in and out for our stay. She was so welcoming and interested about our visit to Leeds. We told her about our planned visit to the ballet and she asked if we had enjoyed it when we checked out! That's good service. So, top marks to this quirky hotel, we will be back. Had an afternoon tea. The food was wonderful, much better than just a few finger sandwiches and a scone. The staff where very friendly and helpful, when they found out we where celebrating our 50 wedding anniversary we where given a glass of champagne. Would recommend everyone to go and try it
Peter J — Google review
Lovely hotel, last visited 6 years ago and still as good as it was the last time. Great vibe and ambiance, my room - a Club - was very large, extremely clean, and comfortable. Nice little touches like four Nespresso pods, fancy tea, nice biscuits and a couple of Ferraro Rochers. Beds incredibly comfortable, couldn’t hear any noise at all, and black out curtains kept out the light! It was my birthday stay and was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for two free cocktails in the hotel bar. The bartender was fab, environment was great - 10/10 all round for the stay and would def come back. Price/performance ratio excellent.
Rachel L — Google review
Great hotel and room, restaurant looked very good, although we didn't eat there on this occassion, fantastic proximity to the city centre with everything close by that you could possible want. Although we had a slight issue with the bathroom (coating peeling away from the bath) which meant we requested to change rooms (partner was looking forwards to having a soak all day!), the staff were great and resolved for us without issue or delay. For the sake of a little more than a typical budget hotel (such as one across the road), I'd happily confirm that its worth paying that little extra for the extra room and additional comforts such as a coffee machine, fridge (with 2 complimentary bottles of water) and bathrobes and slippers!

Five-Star Stay at Malmaison Leeds for Pride 🌈 Stayed at Malmaison Leeds during Pride weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The room was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable — a perfect base to relax and recharge during such a fun-filled weekend. A special shoutout to Lorna, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra memorable. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful — nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare to meet staff who genuinely care, and she made a real difference to our visit. The location is perfect for exploring the city and soaking up the Pride atmosphere. Thank you, Malmaison Leeds, for such a fabulous stay — we’ll definitely be back!

Guests can enjoy breakfast, brunch, and drinks on the rooftop bar while taking in panoramic views of the city and listening to live music. The hotel also features meeting and event spaces with canal views, as well as a relaxing canal-side terrace serving light meals and drinks.
Stayed here 2 nights with my partner the room was lovely and really clean. We wanted to sit in the sky lounge on the first night but couldn’t as there was a private function so I spoke to the manager as that was one of the reasons we was staying at the hotel he was very apologetic and gave us 2 complimentary drinks each that was really lovely to be honest can’t fault the service or hotel…. Every night you stay you get breakfast included and they do every and it was also really nice…. I’d definitely recommend and I’d definitely return

One of the best stays I’ve had in recent history (both in terms of my UK and abroad travels). Really helpful and attentive staff that would go above and beyond without any hesitation. Super clean hotel overall. Very comfy beds. Breakfast was on until 11am for the day I was there and was very tasty.

A fantastic hotel. The room was very nice with a great bed. Lovely location in the docklands and the city centre is a short 10min walk. The rooftop bar has great views over the city and lots of seats. Highly recommended!

I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The room was a standard queen, not too big, but very comfortable. There was some train noise, but it wasn't a major issue and didn't disturb my sleep. The receptionist was wonderful and very welcoming, and the warm cookie at check-in was a great touch! I only had breakfast at the restaurant, but it was a good standard, all-you-can-eat buffet, with the quality you would expect from a Hilton. A real highlight was the Sky Bar. It's a really cool spot that offers some great cocktails, and the outside area has brilliant views of the Leeds skyline. The location is really handy for a one-night stopover. It's right by the train station, making it super convenient. It's also a short walk to the city centre and a manageable 40-minute walk from Elland Road.
Martyn — Google review
Fabulous 2 night stay, check in and hotel parking was very efficient as was the staff members involved. Room excellent, breakfast and breakfast staff were first class. Surrounding bars and attractions are plentiful. The only negative was the Sky bar concierge. Lily made us feel very unwelcome and discriminated against. My husband had sport shorts on. This is why we were turned away at the opening of the lift. She informed us that sports sportswear was unacceptable. We accepted this and returned to our room to change into jeans. Arriving back at the sky lounge we were served by a very efficient staff member called Kyle. Once we had got comfortable and were enjoying the view I became increasingly aware that other hotel members had been allowed into the bar with sports shorts on and do have photographic evidence of this. Such a disappointing end to what was a super weekend.

Our room was immaculate, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent with amazing views of the trains, but not a sound. Spectacular setting with the canals, a well-equipped gym, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely with a large selection. A truly fantastic stay, and a massive thank you to the marketing team for arranging it. Please pass on our thank you to Jana & Sarah on the marketing team. Conor @the.wandering.gays

Super central hotel, right in the city center and train station and a few cute bars and restaurants within the Leeds dark arches - our room over looked the canal, which was really lovely. There is parking right next to the hotel in the arches which is charged. The rooms are modern and the beds a very comfy - I'd definitely stay here again.

Less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Our standard room was much bigger than I expected and the bed was amazing. Big and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Fabulous hotel. We would definitely return.

Located in a very historic building, you get to feel the history of it as soon as you walk in. It looks a bit outdated, but they have done a good job in renovating and updating the rooms. Bed was comfy, and the room was spacious. the staff were friendly. It is a convenient hotel with a walking distance from Leeds train station.
J F — Google review
We loved this hotel. Old fashioned charm right in the heart of the city. The most comfortable bed and reception staff so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Yes parking is not at the hotel unless you’re very lucky and get there early but it’s definitely not a deal breaker when it comes to us staying there again when we’re next in Leeds and with a fantastic French restaurant right next door what is there not to love. Would definitely stay here again.
Paula P — Google review
With the pedestrianisation of a wider area of Leeds there is less reason to drive there and use the train instead. Which makes Quebecs an ideal location just a short 2 min stroll from the station. Full credit to the staff, who are extremely friendly and helpful. The service, the beautiful and historic building, plus the fact it is independently run are a few reasons why Quebecs is our favourite place to stay in Leeds.

Centrally located and near train station. Beautiful and well kept classical hotel. Very kind service by Denia. Nice room but shower and heating not warm enough for winter time. Small TV size not befitting a 4 star hotel.

Located in a lively retail complex called The Light, Radisson Blu Hotel, Leeds City Centre offers sophisticated rooms and suites in an art deco building. The hotel features dining options, meeting spaces, and the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea at the Firelake Restaurant. Additionally, guests can participate in wine tastings hosted by Wine Unearthed and Yorkshire Wine School. These experiences offer a chance to learn about different wines and indulge in new and exciting bottles while enjoying nibbles from the kitchen.
I reached Leeds in the evening from Manchester. After reading some google reviews I was a bit skeptical about this hotel . I was pleasantly surprised as the check-in and checkout experience was seamless and quick . As I am a Radisson Premium Member I was upgraded to the top floor and the room was superb. Spacious, spotlessly clean and the water in the shower and taps was nice and hot. Some reviews stated otherwise. The aircon I didn’t use as the weather was cold. I did not eat the breakfast hence unable to comment on it.

Very middle of the range hotel. Breakfast was acceptable if you could get hold of anything to eat. Food and utensils ran out very quickly. Room was spacious and comfortable, but I do urge the hotel to replace the TV remote, it is a health hazard! Otherwise, had a good stay

Staff? Great, thanks. Helpful, friendly and affable throughout our stay. Congratulations, staff of the Radisson Blu, you were grand. Location? Perfect for accessing the city centre and the local bars, restaurants and cultural locations such as "gallery" or "museum". You could walk out the door and stumble into a decent restaurant. Perfect. Room? Reasonable. Clean, well appointed and fashionably grey. The plug sockets were dodgy and intermittent: Buzzing if something was plugged in, and dipping in and out if using a hairdryer. Also the taps and bathroom fittings probably needed maintenance, due to them being partially disintegrated. Would stay here again, because it was so convenient. Maybe a different room would be in a better state. All in all: Pretty good.

I was slightly worried to stay here after some of the terrible reviews but I can honestly say that my stay was lovely. The reason I am voting 4 stars is that the breakfast had lots of flies flying around the food which really put me off. The breakfast itself looked lovely but it seems that they have a fly problem. The room was clean, comfortable. I agree that the beds are slightly hard but I don’t mind this. The staff have been lovely, no complaints there. I stayed here on business and would stay here again when I’m next in Leeds.

Awful hotel. Are rooms air conditioning didn’t work, which meant the room was freezing. There was wallpaper peeling from the walls. The windows were filthy and the room looked as though it hadn’t been dusted for weeks. The bed was like sleeping on concrete. Whilst the location is great, the hotel needs to be refurbished. For the price you pay, it is not worth the money.

Unfortunately they allowed The National Rebirth Party aka a nazi group, to use one of their conference rooms for a meeting today. I’m absolutely appalled and gobsmacked this was allowed to happen. This could’ve put not only staff members at risk but also the hotel guests at risk as well. In any hotel people should be made to feel welcome and safe. Holding a Nazi group meeting in your facilities in Leeds City Centre with not only a large footfall of international tourists but British citizens of ethnic minorities too, is the furthest thing from making people feel safe. Business or not, safety should be a priority. For your staff members as well as your guests. Unfortunately the business were made aware of the meeting and who was involved but allowed it to take place and proceed anyway. If you want to feel safe and welcome, and you’re not a far right member, avoid at all costs.

Recently stayed here for 1 night and cant fault it, room was clean and bigger then I thought it was going to he. We didnt get chance to use the bar as we were in Leeds to go to the arena so we got back to our room too late. Location is perfect right in the centre of Leeds,

We stay at this particular hotel whenever vising our son. Friendly, clean and the rooms are always pleasant. Hotel location is great as we can walk to wherever we need to go around Leeds from this pretty central spot.

Stayed for one night while out in the city for my birthday and it was spot on. Great location—just a short walk into town but still quiet. The room was clean, comfy, and modern, with everything I needed. Staff were friendly. Only minor downside was the parking cost, but overall a great stay. Would definitely come back!

We stayed one night, there for a gig. 3 of us in separate rooms. A delight to see a handle in the walk-in shower. I will never understand why every hotel doesn't do this. It's such an obvious, unobtrusive safety measure. But the floor in the shower is very slippery and the water manages to hit the floor. At first sight, the shower looked deep, but it didn't quite contain all the water. The room was spacious, clean, tidy, well-fitted and completely acceptable. It's a standard corporate chain hotel, so if you're looking for a lavish view, this isn't the right choice for you. The breakfast was okay, but it was heaving, and we had to wait for a table. T want a major problem, though perhaps some advice on this would have helped. I can't comment on the parking or the public toilets. We used the bar late at night after returning, and it was fine. Service throughout was friendly, polite, efficient and courteous. On Saturdays, breakfast is served until 11, and checkout is by noon.

Very friendly staff, great communal spaces and extremely reasonable bar which was a nice surprise. The hotel's in a quiet location, but a short distance from the city centre. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Really nice hotel. My room was very spacious and clean, and available for a very competitive price for a Friday night. The bed was comfy too. The staff were friendly and polite. The TV had quite a limited selection of Freeview channels, and there’s no AC/temp control but there are windows you can open to keep the room cool. Would definitely stay again.

From the moment you arrive in reception you are met with a friendly smile and staff that know what they are doing. The rooms are very clean, roomy and functional. Safes, Tea and Coffee, Iron and ironing boards are in every room. The food and beverage served in the bar area is excellent value and again every member of staff is happy to look after you. I have used this hotel for over 15 years on a regular basis and it is one of the better staffed hotels. Testament to the training and management teams they employ.
Chris W — Google review
A very comfy time had here with a really nice and spacious room, a stunning bathroom and staff that were very helpful with anything needed, quick check-in and outs included. Only downsides I had were minor ones, the cooked items on the breakfast offered were a bit bland and missing certain items you'd usually expect like fried eggs or hash browns. Having only one lift working did lead to a bit of a wait at times to get to the room and back.
Jamesbuc — Google review
The hotel was in a good spot - within walking distance of the city centre, but far enough out to be quiet and for a car park to be available. The room was nice and clean, and a particularly welcome aspect was that the curtains were nice and thick and closed fully. The shower head was a little small but the water was hot. Both the restaurant and bar were pleasant too. All in all, a good stay, thank you.
Joy R — Google review
Stayed there several times over the last couple of decades. It's consistently been OK, never below average, and has gently changed with the times. The breakfast offering is outstanding, and a flat rate fee for overnight parking/charging is most welcome.

Novotel Leeds Centre is a stylish hotel located in central Leeds, just a short walk from the train station. The spacious rooms feature modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, work areas, and luxury bathrooms. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, a fitness room, sauna, and steam room during their stay. The hotel also offers private parking and an on-site restaurant and bar called The Soap Factory Cocktail Bar and Kitchen.
Great location just outside the railway station and walkable to the centre of town. A few decent restaurants nearby. WiFi good, bed comfy, good shower, clean, large and decent rooms. Service good. Nice cocktail bar and lovely cooked breakfast. It was faultless.
Leaburn — Google review
Staff were great and courteous and the location was very convenient for both the city and train station. The inside of the hotel looked tired in places and the carpets in the room need a refresh as there are stains in some places. Cleanliness overall was okay but could have been better. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel party because I thought this was expensive for what it was.
Robert P — Google review
Nice rooms, not amazing but everything I needed. The main room & bathroom were good, the separate toilet was oddly basic (sparse and grim with dark grey wood chip type paint). There's a small gym, bar and decent food. The breakfast is really good in my opinion - most of it is not great but all in all its great for me. Loads of variety and you can take what you want and go back for more. English breakfast or continental with a decent selection for both. The coffee is poor though and the only water has lemon and is in reception, wouldn't hurt to have a bottle in the room or a machine or two on each floor. Service is good and I've stayed here before with work and would stay here again- although we get a discounted rate and I wouldn't pay £200+ for a room as is sometimes advertised. Location wise it's super close to the station and only a short walk to the main food/drink/shopping area, but there's lots of places over the road too now. The only thing I would add, is that it feels predominantly catered to business/work groups, so the bar can be lively/loud and it's not somewhere I'd come with my family (as other reviews have mentioned). I don't think this is conscious of the hotel, it's just the nature of the majority of guests.
Samuele C — Google review
Nice hotel in the centre of Leeds. Short walk to all major attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Hotel offers parking at £18 for 24 hours which is reasonable for a city centre hotel. Minor point but a bottle of water or 2 in the room would have been a normal touch. Nice, comfortable hotel and decent value for money overall.

I would like to take a moment to compliment one of your outstanding team members, Carla, who works in the breakfast area. Throughout my stay of around ten nights, Carla has been consistently welcoming, professional, and attentive. Even during busy mornings when the breakfast area is full of guests, she remains calm, efficient, and incredibly pleasant. Her ability to work under pressure is impressive. What stood out most to me is that she remembered my regular order and greeted me each morning with a genuine smile. That personal touch made my stay feel more comfortable and special. Carla is a true asset to your team, and I deeply appreciate her hospitality.
Nada H — Google review
Booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids, which came with one double bed, one single bed, and a single sofa bed that can be combined into a super king. Perfect for families, our kids could sleep close to us, felt safe, and we all slept comfortably. Beds, pillows, and blankets were excellent, and even with three beds the room still had plenty of space. Air conditioning was strong and very comfortable. The toilet and bathroom are separate, which is convenient for families, though it means you need to walk over to wash your hands after using the toilet. Amenities didn’t include toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers, but the room had a safe, kettle, instant coffee, tea bags, and best of all, a fridge to store drinks and fruit. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar, and the location is excellent: about 5 minutes to the train station, 10 minutes to the City Centre, and within 10–20 minutes’ walk of major attractions. Parking is available in the hotel basement, reasonably priced at £15 for day parking or £18 for 24 hours. Plenty of clean parking spaces. Overall, considering we stayed during peak summer season, the price was very fair, likely due to a promotion. With its great location, facilities, and comfort, I’d say it’s excellent value for money.

The room was lovely and provided a comfortable atmosphere during my stay. Moreover, the staff's friendliness helped to provide a positive experience overall. The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, which is always a great way to start the day. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel. Overall, my experience was great!.

We stayed here for five nights and had an overall pleasant experience. The Executive Room was spacious enough for three adults, and the bathroom was well stocked with Rituals products—though we found the scent a bit too strong for our liking. When we opted out of housekeeping, a bag with fresh towels, bottled water, and tissues was promptly delivered to our doorstep. Breakfast was the same each day, so we decided to skip it for the last two mornings. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to Leeds Station and City Square.

Following a recent 5 million renovation, the hotel boasts stylish accommodations with cool neutrals and vibrant pops of color. Guests can enjoy access to the Executive Lounge for complimentary refreshments. The hotel's location provides a peaceful oasis while being within walking distance of Trinity Leeds shopping and city attractions.
Came here for a meeting with worth. The function suits are very nice. Well set out with a good selection of refreshments. I had a look round the hotel while I was here and its very nice and modern. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the bar and restaurant area look like a great place to entertain. It's location is perfect for Leeds City centre and the train station. Close to everything you need while being tucked away into a little courtyard area gives it a quieter and Mediterranean feel.

Excellent experience all round. All throughout, the hotel is very smartly and newly furnished. The location is excellent: very close to the station and all the shops and bars of Leeds City centre, but the hotel is located inside a quiet courtyard and it was silent at night. Breakfast buffet was very good standard, as you'd expect for 4* hotel, and was not busy on the weekend I stayed. Reception was spacious and staff friendly and efficient.

Superb location and a very spacious room which was ready early. The staff were lovely. They decorated our room as a surprise for my daughter's birthday which was a very welcome surprise. The hotel would benefit from a little more sound proofing on the windows but overall we were impressed and will be back!

The hotel was perfect for our stay. We had a quieter room on the back and a lot of space. The rooms are smart with large bathrooms. It was also very clean. The car park is right at the back so easily walkable. The bar area and restaurant were great. Really cosy atmosphere. The staff were all lovely. From reception to the bar they all had such polite and friendly attitudes. Cant fault them. My only small gripe would be in agreeing with some other customers that the mattresses are extremely hard and it was a pretty rough night of sleep on it. However thats maybe personal choice too.

Loved, loved, loved, our stay. The hotel is in a quiet courtyard and still right in the heart of all the sights, shops, and restaurants. I'd say less than a 10 minute walk to the train station. The lobby is serene and comfortable. The rooms are traditional Marriott style with all those wonderful Marriott quality features. If you get access to the Executive Lounge you'll enjoy it. Hot and cold dishes are served at breakfast and Happy Hour. Happy Hour was a lot of fun. Don't miss it. Light snacks and drinks are available there 24/7. Claudia at the front desk is wonderful. Loads of people check in and out, and she always managed to recognize us and ask how we're enjoying stay. Paul in the Executive Lounge is a treasure. He keep that lounge in tip top shape and found time to give us great advice on what to do, see, and eat in Leeds/York. Great Hotel!

Great hotel. Marriott never disappoint and they are so attentive. The rooms were great and the restaurant was amazing. The selection was really good. Right in the centre of Leeds, very easy to get to shops and parking is not far away. Validate by reception for cheaper parking. Will definitely use again when in the area.

Stayed a couple of weeks ago and loved it. The location is super just next to trinity centre. The hotel is modern and the rooms are absolutely spotless. Please thank the housekeeping staff. We had exec lounge added to booking and it was well worth it. Lovely evening food and super drinks. Great value when you think of city prices. A lovely staff member cleared tables but chatted to all customers on what their plans were. But what made this so special was that Natasha on front desk remembered our room preference and remembered our names and had the biggest smile ever!! What amazing service and it really made our whole weekend! Thank you Natasha! Ps the breakfast is absolutely amazing too! Best hotel in Leeds by a country mile! David and Alison

Lovely clean hotel, room was spacious and comfortable, and there’s a very good bar and restaurant attached to it. Only negative is the noise levels from the surrounding night clubs. Stayed here on a Saturday night on the 4th floor and there was constant thumping bass till 4am. Maybe it’s less noisy on the higher floors. It’s obviously the compromise you make for staying in such a central location at the weekend and nothing the hotel can do about it. Just something to keep in mind.

Park Plaza Leeds is a sleek high-rise hotel located opposite Leeds Rail Station on the City Square. It offers airy quarters with free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms with TV and 24-hour room service, and a fitness center. The hotel also features a Pan-Asian restaurant and meeting rooms. Guests have praised the friendly staff, fantastic views from higher floors, clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with great showers, and a good breakfast selection.
Fantastic couple of nights at the Plaza. Perfect location and price was excellent. But, but... The staff were definitely the best part. Really friendly and helpful. In the restaurant Donna, Natalia, Radhika and Mara were everything you'd expect of a top hotel. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and funny. I don't remember the other names but all the staff were great. Definitely using this hotel again when I visit Leeds.

Very well located for train station and all the amenities in central Leeds! Really friendly and helpful staff, very well soundproofed room so very good quiet sleep! great views from high floor rooms very comfortable bed. Nice bar on ground floor level. Good breakfast, only negative is the fruit juice very watered down not much taste! Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a good hotel in central Leeds!

Good location, Leeds Train Station is nearby plus shopping, bars and restaurants. Staff were pleasant and friendly especially at breakfast. The room was clean although decor a little tired and dated. Breakfast had decent quality food and a generally good number of options on the buffet.

I stayed one night here recently and I wish I stayed more! The hotel is in central location, just beside the train station. The lobby area was nicely decorated and people at the reception were friendly. I learned that rooms here has nice view of the city, so I requested for one at higher floors. The room I got was at the 19th floor and the view from up there is exquisite. You can spend hours sitting on the window bench, looking at the city and landscape far away. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was also quite big and with a bathtub. I will definitely go back this place many times.

I had a wonderful stay at Park Plaza Leeds,UK in June 2025. The hotel is well-located, clean, and comfortable — perfect for both business and leisure. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service. A special shoutout to Donna Frank, who made the breakfast experience truly memorable. Her warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care for every guest made mornings something to look forward to. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect — from fresh coffee to dietary preferences — always with a smile. Thank you, Park Plaza, and especially Donna, for making my stay feel so welcoming and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to returning soon!

Check-in was incredibly smooth—Julia was absolutely lovely and super helpful. She had already arranged everything before I even arrived, so it took no time at all. She made sure everything was perfect and assisted me with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Leeds. Breakfast was great too, with a good variety and very friendly staff who made the mornings even better. I always stay here whenever I’m in Leeds, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!

The best thing about this hotel is its location, which is excellent and very convenient. Unfortunately, that’s the only strong point. For a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the overall experience was very disappointing. • Room Cleaning Service: The housekeeping was horrible. Rooms were not maintained to the standard you would expect from a 4-star property. • Breakfast Buffet: Very limited options were available, and the quality did not match the hotel’s rating. • Service: No help was offered with luggage either upon arrival or during checkout, which made the stay feel less welcoming and inconvenient. Overall, apart from the location, the hotel failed to deliver on comfort, service, and amenities. I would not recommend it if you’re expecting the experience of a true 4-star hotel.
Naser A — Google review
Park Plaza Leeds Review The hotel is in a great location, ideal if you’re in Leeds for a night out or to explore the city. Our room was fairly spacious but quite basic. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable – a hard mattress on a metal base – and the overall cleanliness could have been better. Items in the room weren’t replenished during our stay, which was disappointing. The evening meal was okay, and I want to give special mention to Chris, who looked after us brilliantly – extremely helpful and attentive. Would I stay here again? Probably not. There are plenty of better options in Leeds. Would I recommend it? No. Some of the reception staff were lovely, but others weren’t particularly welcoming. Overall, okay for one night if you need somewhere central, but not somewhere I’d choose again.

The individually air-conditioned apartments are designed with a super-contemporary style and offer over three times the space of an Executive Hotel Suite. With amenities that redefine prestige, these self-contained apartments provide five-star comfort and luxury.
We had a wonderful stay here after a disastrous retreat from an airbnb! We booked last minute but staff were extremely accommodating late on a rainy night; helping us with where to park and our luggage. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. We cannot stress enough how much we appreciate and commend housekeeping for doing an incredible job. Everything was spotless. Beds were comfortable, towels and robes were soft. We appreciated the little touches like toiletries and tea and coffee in the kitchen cupboard. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to cook some meals. It was lovely to have a washer/dryer as well. Staff were always available and courteous and helpful. The apartment was well insulated (we stayed during a chilly, windy week) and quiet. Parking was available a short walk away and the train station is just a few minutes away. Lots of little shops and restaurants all around. It's a great location. We will definitely stay again if ever in Leeds. Thank you for a lovely experience!

We loved our stay here! Staff were generous and friendly and the housekeeping staff are obviously hard working as the place was spotless! The rooms are enormous and well insulated and comfortable. We appreciated having AC at night although the rooms were comfortably cool. Location is excellent with parking just a few minutes walk away and we loaded our luggage at the bus stop just outside. We got some groceries from the Tesco Express a few blocks away and there is an M & S and Sainsburys at the train station a short distance away. Having a washer/dryer was an excellent plus and we appreciated all the amenities in the kitchen that made our stay more comfortable. Wish I’d taken some photos but can confirm the place looked exactly as it does online. Definitely recommend if you’re staying in Leeds!

Brilliant accomodation in central Leeds. Well appointed rooms. Lifts were out of order, but no offer for any help with the bags on arrival or departure. Fire alarm went off in middle of night ( very loud!).Apparently , this happens a lot as it's the fire door attached to the bar which is shared and it opened by mistake , setting off very loud alarms. Rooms have a small but useful selection of breakfast snacks , which were very handy with jet lag. Room was lovely and warm and welcoming for a late 11pm Friday night arrival. Was greatly appreciated. Would definitely staff here again over a hotel. Their online customer services/bookings was excellent.

They were always available to assist with any requests or inquiries, and their dedication to ensuring my comfort and satisfaction was commendable. The living spaces were spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with top-notch amenities. Every aspect of the apartments exuded comfort and luxury, making it a pleasure to come back to after a day of activities. The cleanliness and upkeep of the apartments were impeccable, further adding to the overall experience of luxury and relaxation. Some staff are very helpful and accommodating, others are very rude and unapproachable. Stays are inconsistent , i stayed for 2 nights prior and no issues (apart from no where to put rubbish outside the hotel) . This time i stayed in another room for a longer stay, curtains wouldn’t close , there was some residue on them, some minor cleanliness issues And no nice view. Iron was also not working properly and ruined some clothes.

It's probably 10 years since I last visited Thorpe Park Hotel, and I have to say I was very impressed with my stay. From an initial issue with me needing to delay my visit by a couple of weeks, the hotel handled this to my great delight which I'm very thankful for. All the staff were friendly and efficient, from check-in, pool, breakfast, meeting rooms and check out, I couldn't fault a thing. The room was excellent, and great to work in, the pool and sauna were clean, breakfast excellent. The whole hotel was very well looked after.

Booked a one night package for£169 for bed breakfast and evening dinner with a £30 allowance each. My husband had soup which was very nice and a good portion. I had pate which was an extremely very small portion on a large plate which made it look worse. It was nice but not worth the £9 price. We both chose steak and thwaites ale pie for our main course. It was presented nicely. The pastry was really nice but we were both disappointed with the filling, I had 2 pieces of meat in my pie. It wasn't just meat and ale, it seemed to me it was bulked up with mashed potato. We were disappointed with the meal. The hotel and staff are very nice and the outside seating area is very nice. We enjoyed our stay but the meal was a let down.

Stayed for 2 days and it was lovely very relaxing. The spa facilities were perfect to unwind and the price for the dine and relax package was great value as you had a evening meal and breakfast included. We had food both nights and the server Michael was great really attentive and couldn't do enough for you ... We ate twice here and the first night was great.. second night the steak pie was a bit tough and wasn't the easiest to eat . Other than that we had a great stay .

The bedrooms were good, clean, simple rooms. The delegates evening meal was stunning and again, the staff were courteous. The whole process from the original booking to the actual conference was smooth and efficient.

A Warm Welcome and Great Breakfast – Just a Few Tweaks Needed I received a lovely welcome on arrival with plenty of information (perhaps a little too rapid-fire!). I asked for a recommendation for a local Indian restaurant as I fancied a walk, but unfortunately the team couldn’t point me in the right direction at the time. Later, I shared my experience at a great spot I found nearby (Spice Zone), and they were genuinely pleased to hear about it. The room was spacious and well furnished – clean and comfortable, though nothing particularly standout. A little outdated I thought. The shower pressure could’ve been a bit stronger. Breakfast was the highlight – really well done – and all the staff I met were fantastic. Warm, professional, and a credit to the hotel.

The Bells Leeds is an upscale adults-only apartment hotel that offers stylish units, some of which feature whirlpool baths. Each of its six uniquely decorated apartments comes with modern amenities such as wet rooms, TVs, soundbars, heated towel rails, and fully equipped kitchens. Our stay at The Bells Hotel was honestly 10/10! Such a luxurious hotel with stunning details throughout. We stayed in the Emanuel room and it was absolutely beautiful – everything from the toilet to the kitchen was spotless. The hotel tub was amazing, a perfect touch for a relaxing evening. Me and my partner really enjoyed every moment of our stay and we would definitely book again. Highly recommend!

Stunning Apartments. We are currently staying in the Big Ben and we have already booked back in to stay in the Great George. The apartments are spacious, tastefully decorated and really comfortable. The hot tubs are also a great feature. They location is also great so close to the town centre. The rooftop terrace and hot tub in the Big Ben is amazing. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location and amazing room! We stayed in the Old Tom and it superseded our expectations! The Jaccuzi bath was really relaxing and added that special touch to our stay. We will definitely be booking again at the Bells Hotel!
Harrison J — Google review
I’ve stayed at The Bells five times now, across several different apartments and overall I’ve always loved the experience. My favourite apartments so far have been Santa Maria and Emmanuel, both two-bedroom apartments with spacious kitchens, stylish living areas, and hot-tubs. I’ve also stayed in Little John, which is a smaller one bedroom apartment. The metal baths adds a lovely touch of character and the projector in the living room is a lovely detail. All the rooms have unique decor, each one feels special and individually styled. Every time I stay, it doesn’t feel like I’m in the city centre- it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful. It is a short walk to great restaurants and the city centre. On my most recent visit, I stayed in Old Tom, and while I enjoyed many elements like the hot tub bath and the view of the cathedral from the bed and balcony. I did however, notice a drop in quality compared to my earlier visits. Small touches seem to be missed, the bedroom had some rose petals left on the floor from the previous guest, which made the room feel like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. My main issue with Old Tom was the complete lack of storage. There was no wardrobe, no drawers, and no where at all to hang or put away clothes. For a one night stay this might be manageable, but even then living out of a suitcase doesn’t feel luxurious. I stayed for two nights and ended up hanging my dress over the bath, which isn’t ideal. For the price of the apartments, I would expect at least a small wardrobe or a bedside drawer. I do really like the Bells, I just hope that the attention to detail and the standards remain high.

I’ve been using the bells since 2019 and wow it’s been amazing every time! The hot tubs the huge bedrooms and living areas can’t ask for more! Billy has been been here numerous times whilst we’ve visited and he’s made sure we’ve had a good stay. Every room has its own unique design and history, being in the centre of town as well everything is in walking distance! 10/10 service every time

I stayed in the Liberty apartment at The Bells and really enjoyed it. The place was clean, spacious, and well designed, with a great rooftop terrace and private hot tub. It’s in a quiet spot but still close to the city centre, which made everything really convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely come back.
Jake S — Google review
Had a perfect stay for my partner’s birthday. We booked the Liberty apartment and it was exactly like the pictures. The amenities were all great, the bed was soft, the kitchen had top notch appliances, the living area sofa and tv was very comfortable and homely yet still had a luxury feel, and the balcony was perfect in the summer heat. The icing on top was definitely the hot tub. All the staff were very friendly including over the phone/email when I was booking, at the reception desk and the cleaners when we were leaving. Definitely recommend and would come again.

We all had a lovely stay thank you, our 4th and definitely not last stay. Billy was wonderful on Friday evening during the drinks hour(s) - nothing was too much trouble for him, he was chatty whilst pouring drinks and whilst we waited for our food delivery. He spoke really highly of the staff and hotel, and is a credit to you all. Thank you for having us all again, it was lovely to celebrate and we really appreciated the move being made to Emmanuel due to maintenance. It was actually one of the rooms we were yet to stay in, and all loved it and would like to return again.

Crowne Plaza Leeds, an IHG Hotel, is a stylish and upscale accommodation option in the city center. While it's slightly removed from the bustling city center, it offers modern rooms with top-notch amenities and the latest technology. The hotel boasts a range of facilities including a restaurant, bar, health club with gym, indoor pool, hot tubs, saunas and outdoor areas. Its convenient location makes it just a short walk from Leeds' vibrant shopping area and rail station.
The hotel was very nice, with beautiful decor and an amazing scent as you entered the lobby! The rooms were very good—we stayed in a Standard Queen Room on the 4th floor. Comfortable room with a view of Wellington Road. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but manageable. The jacuzzi was great, but I found the pool to be small. Sauna and steam room were also available. The food at the restaurant was tasty, but the service at both the bar and restaurant wasn’t the best. We asked for food to take to our room, and it arrived uncovered, with just one napkin for two people, and no salt or pepper. When we ordered room service another time, the waiter was very polite, and the food came with covers to keep it warm, but there was only a knife and fork, and no spoon for the dessert, which included ice cream. So the ice cream melted, and we couldn’t eat it properly, since a fork isn’t ideal for that. Again, no salt or pepper on the tray. The only negatives I found were with the service. The reception staff were very helpful and polite, unlike the restaurant team. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to the city centre and just a 10-minute walk from the train station.

We had a really enjoyable stay here. Very warm welcome at check-in from Patrice at the front desk. The room was spacious, clean and modern with excellent shower. Received 25% off in restaurant for showing our Leeds United match tickets. I've seen slightly bigger breakfast buffet spreads, but not many higher quality ones. Very much recommended.

Visited the hotel first time on 9th of october. Can't stress how friendly the service was. We were greeted by Yasser who did everything to ensure our stay was pleasant. Very informative. This guy is an absolute asset to the business. We visit leeds quite often as a construction company and this going forward will be our go to. A big thank you Yasser!

Excellent hotel. Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Nice public areas. Bar has a great selection of local and craft beers. Breakfast is very good. Staff were particularly helpful last time I visited. Parking is good with lots of space. A short walk into the centre.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel over all is very nice, we really enjoyed the food and cocktails. What really made this an enjoyable stay was the staff, they were amazing, unfortunately I cant remember all the names that deserve a shout out. Patrice at reception was a delight, along with 2 ladies with glasses one of then helped out my little boy when he needed the bathroom quickly!! Simon in the bar and the duty manager were just really nice people, sorting out our food serving us with a happy smile and even creating some new cocktails! I cant say enough good things about the staff here!! Breakfast was a delight, a fine choice of food with again some lovey breakfast staff that made it seem like nothing was too much trouble. The only slight negative I would have is the pool is a little tired, the tiles are a little old and the silicone has gone green in a few places. Location was great, a very short walk into the center.

Came here for a two day stay and I must say the service was on point. From the moment we walked in Jade was at reception and greeted us with the most upbeat energy. So we knew from then we was gna b in good hands. Breakfast every morning with plenty of options with food and drinks The spa area was soo clean. Staff were helpful too. Anything u need and request they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable as possible . Thank you for taking care of us and we will definitely come bk. ❤️❤️❤️

Discriminatory, Unhygienic & Holiday-Ruining Experience Our stay was ruined by the hotel’s refusal to make reasonable adjustments for my disabled child. We were charged for disabled parking with no alternative, denied pool access needed for physiotherapy, and ignored by management despite repeated requests. One manager even said, “we treat everyone the same,” showing a complete disregard for disability rights. We had to change all our holiday plans to meet medical needs, and the first room we were given was filthy—with what looked like vomit on the floor. Deeply disappointing and discriminatory. Avoid if you need accessible or respectful service.
M Z — Google review
Dreadful customer service from this hotel. We arrived to find our room already occupied. The only alternative provided was a room for 3 people (there were 4 of us) one of my sons had to sleep on the floor. No response from management from 3 complaints made while we were at the hotel. Now we are home they are refusing to give us a full refund on our nights stay. Our family weekend away was ruined by this hotel. We won't return.

I cannot express how much I love this hotel. It has a beautiful setting and the friendliest , most helpful staff. My family and I stayed in May for two birthday celebrations and they were both spoilt and loved it. Yorkshire hospitality at its best.

It is a beautiful location and setting. The staff team were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, but it needed a bit of TLC as the child's camp beds had seen better days, and the sheets needed a hotter wash. Breakfast was lovely, although a little slow due to under staffing. It was child friendly, and the grounds were well maintained.
Colette M — Google review
Afternoon Tea; I came here with my friend and sister for a little catch up, after a recommendation from a friends daughter who attended a wedding here. The service was a little slow, even though we were the only ones in the dining room. We were not impressed with the afternoon tea, it was definitely not worth the £24.50 each we paid for it. From the advertising photos we expected delicate little finger sandwiches and cute dainty cakes, what we got were dry scones and big lumps of sponge cake surrounding a slab of custard tart. Overall a disappointing experience, we won't be returning!
Choi S — Google review
We went to the Woodlands for a wedding. It’s a great spot, the grounds are lovely, you’d never think you were so close to such major roads. We just went to the evening do, the staff were great, the drinks reasonably priced and the food was tasty. It was a hog roast, now, I don’t eat meat, so am probably biased, but I hated seeing the pigs head on display. There were plenty of vegan things though for me to choose from in the menu chosen by the bride and groom. Room was good, bed comfy. The basin in the bathroom was minuscule, really hard to wash your face. They lost a star because of the basin, it was that small and hard to use, and for the pigs head being out.

I came for a wedding. I'm not staying in a room so I can't comment, but the lamb meal we had was absolutely delicious. I would very much recommend this place for food at the very least its delicious!

We just had our neices wedding here, 11/4/25, the ceremony was amazing. They even tented a childs soft play area for our children to play, a lovely touch. The bedroom for us was ok, a little small with a travel cot but it was all made up with a beautifal private garden area. The staff were amazing, especially Sarah Hews on reception, she was very friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Made us feel at home and could go to her if we needed anything. A lovely venue.

Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is a luxurious 18th-century mansion located in the picturesque Yorkshire countryside near Leeds. This historic grade II listed building seamlessly blends Victorian elegance with modern amenities for both business and leisure travelers. The resort features traditional-style rooms, four restaurants offering delectable dining options, a rejuvenating spa, and an impressive 27-hole golf course.
This was our first visit and it was wonderful! We enjoyed a 2 night spa break with dinner on one night and we added afternoon tea. The hotel is beautifully decorated. A great blend of luxury and classic touches in keeping with a 200 year old mansion house. The staff were, warm, friendly and very helpful. All our meals were delicious 😋 our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The spa was very relaxing and we enjoyed treatments. We would highly recommend staying here.
Anji D — Google review
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but both my partner and I were really disappointed with our experience at Oulton Hall. It was, unfortunately, one of the poorest examples of customer service I’ve encountered. We had booked this stay as our first night away since having our baby, and it was completely overshadowed by the lack of care and attention from staff. I would not recommend staying here. The reception team, in particular Rhiannon, seemed uninterested in assisting us and displayed unprofessional communication throughout. A manager called “Geraldine” (if that is indeed her name) also showed no interest in resolving our concerns regarding the restaurant, or making any effort to improve our experience. From the outset, it was clear that guest satisfaction and retaining our custom were not priorities. On a positive note, I did have a lovely treatment in the spa — the therapist was really kind and professional. However, my partner did not receive the same level of service. He wasn’t provided with a robe for his treatment and was left to sit in the quiet room in his clothes immediately after a massage, while every other guest wore a robe. It made him feel uncomfortable and completely out of place, which I don’t think is acceptable for a hotel of this standard. The treatment we received after our stay was confirmation that we will not return to Oulton Hall, nor will we be recommending it to anybody. It really takes very little effort to make a customer feel like they have been listened to, and apart from two ladies I briefly spoke with on the phone from accommodation, not one member of staff took us seriously or provided basic customer service. Very poor.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Helpful friendly staff. The food was ok as we were on a group booking but the drinks, even coffees were ridiculously expensive. A golf buggy was £45, a bottle of Coke from the pro shop was £3, two beers £13. Take plenty of money

Great Stay! I stayed here for 4 nights and had an excellent experience. My room was cleaned daily, and the housekeeping did a great job keeping everything spotless. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and the dinner menu was diverse and well-priced. The late-open bar was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, the hotel offers great value with friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Stayed here last weekend on a two night deal in room 174 with a beautiful setting of a wide garden to look out on. The staff, food and the outstanding cleanliness of the place is amazing. As is the beautiful decor of the hotel. The bar was busy with a wedding but Chris with the outstanding ladies kept everyone well watered throughout the evening Would highly recommend a visit and well differently be returning ourselves. We had a great one night stay to escape the mini heatwave. We and our 2 kids enjoyed the pool. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. The children's menu was great as was the adult menu. Breakfast was really nice. Overall staff were welcoming and friendly. We live in Manchester and would definitely stay again.

Came here for my friend's 70th birthday for afternoon tea, spa and a treatment each on 9 September 2025. My friend had her facial treatment on the ground floor with a complentary glass of prosecco (thank you) and tells me her bed was heated. She said the room didn't feel cold. My facial was upstairs. When I commented the room felt chilly, I was advised the air conditioning needed to be on but an adjustment on the dial was attempted. It didn't make any difference and wasn't asked if it felt any different .I also said that the towel on top of me felt cold and damp upon getting on the bed. I was assured by the therapist they were completely dry when she put them on but she didn't feel them herself and said the air conditioning would make them feel cooler. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the facial but I was really quite uncomfortable due to how cold I felt and felt quite tense. I couldn't relax properly due to the temperature. Disappointing for me but glad my friend had a great experience since it was her birthday. That evening, I started feeling unwell and have had a headache and seem to have caught a cold since. Not feeling great at all. The upside is the hotel is in a lovely setting and the afternoon tea was very nice.

I have wanted to stay at Oulton Hall for some time and I am delighted to say it didn't disappoint!!!! This hotel feels truly grand and special but at the same time has a really relaxed atmosphere. From the moment we arrived every staff member that we came across was exceptionally friendly, helpful and we could not fault the service anywhere. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable...the best nights sleep I have had in long time! Dinner was a real delight...despite having a fussy eater in the family everyone found the menu to be a winner and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was again enjoyed by all with a well stocked hot and cold buffet with something for everyone. We all love a swim so enjoyed use of the facilities once we arrived and again in the morning before departure. All in all we had a fantastic night and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Stayed here for 1 night. Beds very comfortable, no issues with the room, nice, light, airy and spacious. The staff are very accommodating. Car park is a good size with EV charging points. don't forget to register your number plate on their system, there are numerous available. A very good-sized bar and restaurant. Breakfast was cheap and nice with lots of choice. There is a quaint welcoming pub on site that also serves food. The reception staff were extremely helpful. I had to wait round for a few hours waiting for my partner, There are pods in the reception area that have TVs in I was able to cast my phone to it and connect my ear phones and watch TV in peace and quiet. There is also a David Lloyd gym and spa on site. A very nice place that i would definitely return to!

I’ve been a loyal patron of Weetwood Hall in Leeds for over 20 years, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have left me incredibly disappointed. This used to be a fantastic venue, offering great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a perfect setting for both casual and special occasions. However, it seems that those days are long behind us. The management has taken a noticeable downturn, and the once exceptional service has completely disappeared. The staff, who were once attentive and friendly, now appear disinterested, unhelpful, and downright rude. On multiple occasions, I found myself waiting for extended periods to be served, only to be met with indifference. It’s truly shocking to see such a sharp decline in what was once a highly regarded establishment. I’d hoped that my long-standing loyalty to Weetwood Hall would be reflected in the service, but it's clear that the venue no longer values its regular customers. As much as I used to recommend it to friends and family, I can no longer do so with a clear conscience. The charm and quality that made Weetwood Hall a go-to spot for many years is gone, replaced with a lackluster approach to customer service. If you're considering visiting, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. It's one to avoid for the foreseeable future. Such a shame for what was once a fantastic place.

We came up from the Midlands with around 90 guests. Guests had booked 30+ rooms, as our son was getting married in Leeds. Staff were curtious, friendly and cooperative. Nothing was a problem. They even accommodated for families with babies and provided additional support without any hesitation and cost. Flexibility approach in support was exceptional. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you Weetwood Hall.

I have frequented Weetwood hall over the years mostly for events or working on my laptop. I have always found it very pleasant and good staff service. I did have an issue crop up where their parking company issued me a charge, despite me being a customer. It only surfaced after a few years had already elapsed and had ballooned into a £175 charge. I took it to the Weetwood staff, and after a little bit of a battle with the parking company, it was ultimately dropped.

Nice clean hotel, I traveled with my wife our grand child and our dog. The only thing I would suggest you look at would be the breakfast seating. Where I understand dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area we were asked to sit in the reception area and you would lay the table. The problem was these were coffee tables and not really useful to eat your breakfast off as they are to low. Maybe this is something you look at, we wasn't offered anywhere else to sit.

Have been 3 times the first occasion we had a wonderful dinner with friendly attentive staff. The first occasion was great good food and staff. The second time saw a change of staff the chef used an experimental Chinese beef - universally agreed as inedible due to an excessive use of spice and salt. The manager was surly and unhelpful, a lovely waitress took the initiative and resolved the situation.

Staff were lovely. The man at reception was very helpful and welcoming, even though he must have worked such a long shift as he was there for the duration of my stay! He even boiled some water for my pot noodle for me even though he didn’t have to. Went above and beyond to help me and was very kind :) The room was nice and clean and you can tell the housekeeping staff put a lot of effort into what they do. No complaints at all. Price was good and location is excellent. I’ll definitely be staying again next time I am in Leeds

The man at the desk was lovely and helpful and the location is absolutely perfect. However our room cleanliness was not great at all if we had a longer stay id definitely give it 1 star. Luckily we just stayed over night and barely used our room! There was a lip balm that had leaked out under our bed onto the floor from previous guest , there was blood specks on the pillow and bedding obviously a stain but still not appealing, there wasn't liner in the bin, you could tell the bathroom and room had been rushed to finish as they missed litter under the other bed too! It just didnt feel overly comfortable as you wonder what else they missed 😬 Didn't complain as was barely in the room but if it was like this for a long stay or long weekend we would have been really annoyed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at easy hotel and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and professionalism. Check-in was smooth and quick, and I was promptly shown to my room. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities I could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail—fresh linens, quality toiletries, and even a complimentary bottle of water and snacks. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, with both local and international options available. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the service was consistently friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect—close to major attractions and public transport, but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. I also made use of the fitness center and the pool, both of which were clean and well-equipped.

Unhappy with my experience with easy hotel. Payed £155 for a double standard room with no window. Was meant to go with my mate from brum. Got let down. Tried cancelling and they charged me another £155 to cancel. Gave them a week before notice and still nothing. Also tried cancelling on the day and still nothing. Contacted them and customer services and had nothing but grief with them. Lesson learnt. Wont be going back to this hotel or recommending it to anyone. Absolute vile behaviour from a so called hotel.

Clean room and easy place to access + very good location in the center. Busy in the day + quiet at night + close to shops+ restaurants. Welcome desk staff, not all of them were customer friendly.
Gladys D — Google review
The dour, rude and can’t be bothered receptionist really set expectations low when checking in. Once entering your room with its tiny, prison cell like space my expectations remained low. Discovering the bed is made of concrete (which gave me my worst nights sleep ever), thin pillows and the single towel meant I had to engage with the receptionist again. Her delight of having to get off her chair and find me one extra pillow really ruined her evening. It just meant this hotel is never going surpass one star. The only two redeeming features are the cleanliness of the rooms and its location. So be aware that if you want a window you pay extra! Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss

Bit unlucky upon arrival - first room we were given was freezing (401) as the air con was stuck - must have been 17 degrees! Staff were great though they moved us to another room quick sharp so big thanks. Comfortable room and good price for a Friday night. Staff were excellent. The shower left a little to desire (room 227) as you couldn't get under the shower so it was a hands on affair with shower head in one hand and shower gel in the other. Have to say Leonardo, you can ease up on the shower gel restrictions! You could barely get a pea sized amount out despite furious pumping. Maybe you can let us have a proper wash? Aside from that walking distance to the centre, easy to find and some reasonable parking in the area if you find a space.

I mean I only went for a meeting, didn't stay over, was there for like 6 hours. Meeting room was nice, coffees and teas dropped off halfway through which was nice. Plenty of little shops nearby for some scran and smaller cafes to eat out. If the weather's nice it's a nice area to chill around and it's walking distance to the royal armouries which is great.

Really nice hotel this just on this outside of the city centre! Car park is a 15 minute walk from hotel and cost with discount £8. Hotel is very nice restaurant area and bar with seating in reception also making it very relaxing to sit in the foyer. Easy access to all local amenities and walking distance to nice bars around local area. Hard to beat the location and also the prices. Staff really could do with going on some costumer service training even just to be more pleasant, however overall very convenient and good value!!

I'm usually a Premier Inn person, but Leonardo is so much better. Has more of an up market feel to it. Been there a couple of times recently, and will definitely go back. Rooms are almost identical to Premier Inn. Beds are comfortable (but smaller than Premier). Breakfast is excellent with a variety to pastries, continental meats, full English, and lovely fresh coffee. Food is available able 24 hrs, and room service to 9pm. Staff are so hard working, and are excellent. Good value hotel, and will definitely choose Leonardo over Premier Inn the future. Thank you

Not a great experience, would not return. Stayed for one night in August 2025 as part of a work trip. Got very little sleep and it was problem after problem. Key card stopped working three times in one night so had to be repeatedly re-programmed. Air con / ventilation in the room was broken and was as loud as a plane engine, they said they’d fix it or move me rooms but neither happened, but room was too stuffy to sleep and the window couldn’t be left open due to really loud noise outside all night long (the area was incredibly noisy with anti social behaviour / kids shouting at 2am, loud bin collection / deliveries to the hotel loading bay waking us up at 6am), so no choice but to leave the very loud air con on but barely get any sleep because of it. Walls are paper thin so I heard every time my neighbours closed their doors or opened a tap, every time sometime walked past the room etc. Bathroom was bleak, clinical, grotty and basic. No car park on site, the recommended / affiliated car park is a 700 metre walk away in a different neighbourhood, nowhere near the hotel. What hotel doesn’t have nearby parking? Bed was comfy, breakfast was good, but that is all irrelevant if you didn’t manage to sleep. All in all a really bad stay, even the Travelodge is better quality than this.

Lovely entrance to Hotel, nice breakfast area. Breakfast not comprehensive but still good. Rooms are OK. Location very good as just along from Armouries Museum and across the bridge next to Hotel to Leeds Minster and shopping.

Great location Discounted car parking even though it was a 10 minute walk it was a good secure place. Breakfast had a good variety and the bed was comfortable and clean

Hi so I just left a serviced apartment here. I was staying here after being displaced by Yorkshire housing from a flat due a cockroach infestation. I was here from 5th Dec 2024 to 2nd Feb 2025, I spent Xmas and new years feeling a level of quiet I have never experienced. I come from a background of being homeless on off since I was 16 so I have never felt safe, and my body finally went into hibernation for 3 months. I shut the dark blinds and let my body rest. The trains made the comforting noise recognisable in animes to me so I really enjoyed that aspect. Wasn't loud. No fuss, no mess. It was clean, hygienic, and the housekeeping staff, they changed my perspective on my own mental health. One gave me a new coat and she was proud of any progress I made with my own self care. I appreciated and I carry with me that coat and what she told me. I will forever remember and have been blessed to have been here. I really feel changed in my heart and I thank Yorkshire housing for placing me in a place that accommodates to a higher standard than majority. I have stayed now in IBIS, Travelodge and premier inn, and this apartment can't be matched. I already miss being here. I can't rebook unfortunately because it's out of my price range, but thank you for the time I was given.
BANGEL C — Google review
The apartments are nice, spacious and clean. The premises are really secure and you barely notice the other tenants. But if the bathroom fan doesn’t work you’ve got a really smelly apartment because the bathrooms are on the inside and don’t have windows. Plus, the screeching noise of the trains starts really early morning right through to late night, and in the summer its hot so you need to open windows. It can be quite disturbing so be prepared to wake up early. But the location is convenient for the station and for a short walk into town. Nice for commuters and for those who don’t really mind the noise.

Excellent furnished accommodations in Leeds. Special mention goes to the supportive and professional staff making long term stays very pleasant. Thanks for a great stay and see you again in the future! Of note the wifi has been upgraded and during my three month stay it was fast and reliable.
Nuno G — Google review
Been here for three months for work. Amazing hospitality very clean, apart from the washing machine and the couches could do with an upgrade. Great location. Can be a little noisy from the trains but you right down in the city. Can’t wait to come back next year.
Lee W — Google review
The apartment itself is really nice, but the WI-FI is terrible. Make sure you have your own personal hotspot and plenty of data. Also, if you are on the railway side of the building, the constant noise of trains passing is really annoying.
Chris P — Google review
I live in the building next door to this. The use of car horns as an indication of wanting to leave/enter the car park is absolutely ridiculous. I get woken up at all hours of the morning & night (today was 6:38am on a Sunday) by people blaring their horns so the site staff will open the gate for them. I refuse to believe there isn’t a better and quieter way to leave a residential car park such as electronic remotes or entering a code into the keypad on the side of the gate so that residents aren’t woken up by (4 so far in the last 20 mins) car horns.
Roz W — Google review
Amazing place, fairly priced, well guarded behind steel gates that are secured by both cameras and actual security personnel! The owners are excellent and the managing staff are heavenly people! You get treated with so much fairness and respect!

The hotel's convenient location just off Junction 28 off the M62 makes it ideal for both business travelers and those looking to explore Leeds. Nearby attractions include the White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds Armouries, and Xscape Yorkshire. Guests have praised the spacious and clean rooms that comfortably accommodate families.
I am a member of the Village South Leeds Hotel Gym/Pool. I have been a member since October 2024 and my daughter is also a member. We love going for dinner in the restaurant and swimming at their pool. Very happy with 25 % off for members. We find the staff from both the restaurant and the leisure services all attention to our needs. For example they have provided my little girl with a pool noodle when she has asked for one. The eating areas are clean and comfortable. Food is lovely, we have been back many times to eat there. The pool and changing areas are clean and the poolside staff are extremely good with the needs of children as my little girl is only eight. Staff and other gym members are always friendly and have lovely manners. Our family frequent the pool/ restaurant sometimes with friends around four to six times per week. We are very impressed. Thanks Guys. Julie.

From the greeting when walking in to smiles from staff, it’s a warm welcome from the team. Once through the barriers and up the stairs there’s a cleanly, well equipped gym and use of rooms. Can also connect your own music to the big speakers in one of them ! Manager Josh was very helpful with any questions I had about the building and equipment. Anything I needed, he was happy to help. Was nice to find all of the pool facilities and would like to point out how well maintained everything is. Big thanks to Josh and the Gym team for looking after me in my visit

My stay at Village Hotel Leeds South was fantastic! The service was truly exceptional - the staff were friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The hotel's facilities were impressive, with a well-equipped gym and modern rooms that were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Pub & Grill was a highlight, serving tasty food and drinks in a lively atmosphere. I appreciated the attention to detail and the overall quality of the hotel. The gym at Village Hotel Leeds South is top-notch! It's well-equipped with modern machinery and free weights, making it perfect for a great workout. The atmosphere is motivating, and the cleanliness is impressive. I appreciated the variety of equipment and the spacious layout, which made it easy to move around and focus on my fitness goals. The hotel's commitment to maintaining a high-quality gym facility is clear, and it's a great amenity for guests. If you're looking for a hotel with a great gym, Village Hotel Leeds South is definitely worth considering. I would highly recommend Village Hotel Leeds South to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable stay. The staff's dedication to providing excellent service really made my stay stand out.

Stayed on Saturday 10th May. Checked in by Sarah who was friendly and efficient. Room (304) was clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely in the morning. Visited Starbucks for a light lunch and Chelsea was pleasant and professional. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay. We will return 100%

I’ve had an outstanding experience at the Village Gym South Leeds, and a huge part of that is thanks to the incredible leadership of Gym Manager Josh. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, energising, and genuinely supportive — a reflection of the high standards Josh clearly sets and upholds across the team. Josh leads by example. His professionalism, approachability, and passion for health and fitness are evident in everything he does. He takes the time to get to know members, listen to feedback, and make sure everyone feels valued — whether you’re a seasoned gym-goer or just starting your fitness journey. His presence on the gym floor is reassuring, and you can see the positive impact he has on both staff morale and member satisfaction. The gym itself is always clean, well-organised, and fully equipped, and there’s a clear sense of pride in maintaining a high-quality space. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated — again, a credit to Josh’s leadership. I’d highly recommend Village Gym South Leeds to anyone looking for a top-tier fitness experience, and I can’t thank Josh enough for making it such a positive and inspiring place to be. He’s a true asset to the Village Gym team.

Located in the vibrant heart of central Leeds, Hilton Leeds City hotel offers modern amenities and comfort. Guests can enjoy contemporary international cuisine at City 3 Bar & Restaurant, as well as access to a 24-hour gym. The hotel also features pet-friendly accommodations and an indoor pool.
Very polite and friendly staff- they made us feel very welcome. Location is perfect- only a 5 minute walk from Leeds train station and walking distance from shops/bars and restaurants. Room was clean and quiet- for the cheapest room, a little small but had everything we needed for our one night stay. Bathroom was very nice and modern. I would definitely stay again!
Fern P — Google review
The rooms pleasant but are pretty small for a 4 star hotel. For rooms at the rear of the hotel, you will have to endure noise from the railway station next door. Maintenance needs to be improved - I reported an issue in the bathroom and it was not fixed. There is a bad smell in the entrance foyer. Some of the breakfast items are low quality. I expected better for the price.
Christopher R — Google review
Without question, this is the poorest Hilton property I’ve ever had the misfortune of staying in. The smell throughout the hotel is genuinely awful—an unpleasant odour that hits you immediately, only made worse by the cloying artificial fragrance clearly meant to mask it (and failing miserably). Combine that with relentless construction noise, the nearby trains rumbling at all hours, and you’ve got something far closer to a bad travelodge next to a rail yard than a proper Hilton. Frankly, I expected far better. A thoroughly disappointing experience.
Lucy — Google review
Stayed here on the night before graduation. Really lovely members of staff. Charlie stood out, checked me in, and made sure that we were happy with everything in the room. Very approachable, friendly and professional - clearly wants to ensure guests are happy and settled. Lovely hotel.
Ellen S — Google review
Great location. Really easy to access the station and city centre, comes with 2 floors just for parking. But for some reason as soon as you walk in, the whole hotel smells like there is sewage leak and smells really bad throughout the communal areas, I noticed this throughout the stay. The restaurant and bar is well kept and I really enjoyed the coffee. They had really nice and small gym with all necessary equipments and the every time I visited, it was really quiet. The rooms compared to other Hilton is above average but the not best one.
Bilal A — Google review
I stayed at the Hilton in Leeds and was genuinely shocked by the persistent, unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. It wasn’t just a faint issue—it was overpowering and made time in shared spaces like the bar area nearly unbearable. What’s worse is that this isn’t a new complaint. Multiple reviews mention the same problem, and although management keeps replying that it’s been resolved, it clearly hasn’t. The room itself was fine, but I was woken at 6am by loud construction work outside, which made getting any rest impossible. For a hotel that markets itself as premium, this experience felt far from it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until they genuinely address the smell and improve the overall guest experience.
Grace O — Google review
I was extremely disappointed with my stay. After paying a premium, I was woken up at 6am by constant drilling and banging. When I raised this with staff, I was told there were building works but nothing could be done other than to “investigate.” Months later, I’ve still had no follow-up. As someone coming off night shifts and checking in specifically for a quiet night’s sleep, being disturbed at such an early hour completely defeated the purpose of my stay. The lack of communication and unwillingness to offer any form of resolution speaks volumes about the service here. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a restful stay or decent customer care.
Tanya D — Google review
After arriving at the hotel I found a slight buzzing noise in the room coming from a service cupboard next door. Most people probably wouldn't even notice it, but I'm very sensitive to that kind of thing. I felt a bit uncomfortable asking to move room for a small issue, but Hamid at reception was fantastic, made me feel very comfortable and made sure I got a room I was happy with, great service. The only downside to the hotel is that the walls are a bit thin with noise for the corridor and other rooms coming through a bit.

Located in Leeds City Centre, ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena offers modern and comfortable rooms with amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel's Italian restaurant serves locally sourced dishes for lunch and dinner, while a continental breakfast is provided each morning. The hotel's vibrant decor features bright colors and unique design elements, including a children's play area shaped like a giant cricket ball. Despite being part of a chain, the hotel maintains an individual charm.
It was a comfortable stay for over a week, first in a double room, and then in a single with a king-size bed. The rooms are small but well equipped, and cleaned on a daily basis; the same applies to the bathrooms. Worth recommending. The only thing that made me think of this stay as not perfect was the too strong air conditioning: I set it to a level that was bearable for me several times but, unfortunately, it returned to the default setting after a few hours.
Monika M — Google review
Room was ok but the large double we had was positioned as such that there were very little space to walk around the bed without knocking/banging into the wall. Climbing over seems the less painful option! Staff very friendly & helpful. Great location

Friendly staff, good amenities and ambience to the hotel. The beds were very comfortable, showers hot and within a short walk to the city centre and the University. A good Citipark carpark just a minute away that you can use at just £10 for 24hrs with the use of the hotel
Hugs11 P — Google review
Nice and central. Rooms were very clean and modern . Kettle with tea and coffee in the room and Aircon etc. windows don’t open. There is free tea and coffee by reception via a machine. The only negative is that if you leave before 7am the machine is not on which is a pity as it’s a quick coffee fix on your way out.
Michael W — Google review
This is the upmarket version of Ibis and the rooms leave a lot of 4 star establishments for dead. Really comfortable bed, funky, clever design, excellent A/C (it was unusually hot and muggy in Leeds) and very quiet. The adjoining South Indian Coastal restaurant was really good and well priced. It is used by the hotel as a breakfast venue, which is extremely ordinary, but OK for the price. Great location in the heart of the city. Highly recommended.
Peter H — Google review
Good location, helpful staff, extremely clean, free hot drinks, modern, very comfortable room and bed… what more could you ask for! and a great price!
Lynn A — Google review
Would highly recommend! I booked a 20 person group booking and there was no complaints. The booking was cheap for the quality and location. Rooms were well equiped with all you need! Location is great for the price. Lots of great cafes, shopping, pubs, bars and restaurants nearby.
Colm C — Google review
This hotel is quite central and close to the Arena if thats important. The staff were super friendly and rooms are fairly good size and well appointed. Its fairly modern, clean and well maintained. Im not always a fan of hotel breakfast but if you dont mind stuff under a heat lamp it looked ok. I stayed safe with fruit and cereal. The coffee machine gave our quite good machine style Latte. My main gripe was the duvet was not the right size for the bed or duvet cover, it was too small. I reckon they used the wrong one, easy mistake. But when I pointed it out they promised to change it but it never happened. Hence the 4 rather than 5 star.

The Met Hotel Leeds is a classic establishment with modern amenities, including a restaurant and bar. It offers great value for money, with clean rooms equipped for a comfortable stay. Its prime location near the train station and city center makes it convenient for travelers. While the breakfast room service has limited options, the staff's accommodating nature shines through as they fulfilled a special request. This hotel provides an enjoyable experience, making it memorable for guests.
What a lovely hotel. The staff were so helpful and kind. The renovation looks lovely and I had a great nights sleep. The shower is really powerful and they’ve got both types of usb chargers (for those who forget their plug) in the sockets on either side of the bed. You can park for £20 at the hotel and brekky was £13.50 for a full English and a load of cereal and pastries. I’d 100% stay again.
James C — Google review
Had an ok stay at this hotel. It was newly renovated to a high standard which was good and the hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Leeds centre on foot. We planned to stay two nights but unfortunately due to such a poor nights sleep we decided to move hotel, the air conditioning was not working and we had to sleep with the window open as it was so hot. There was a bars bins below the windows so at 3:30/4am I was woken to the sound of clanging bottles. The hotel itself is very nice, just the air conditioning is a big problem when it’s hot and noisy outside!
Ellie S — Google review
Nice hotel in the city centre, currently undergoing a major renovation - drilling started at 8:15 so don't expect a lay in! Very friendly staff, but the hotel itself is tired and in need of serious redecoration (which I assume is tied to the renovation underway). No air con and a dribble of a shower are cons, but spacious rooms are a big plus. Has an extremely small car park, not even enough space to turn a medium sized car around, so be very careful of parking on site, the walls carry the scuffs of a thousand cars.
Daniel G — Google review
We stayed there last night for our wedding anniversary. We were in a fifth floor room and we told that the AC didn't work. Well when we went to our room, it was boiling! Opening the windows did absolutely nothing and it was an incredibly poor and miserable night's sleep. With the windows open we could hear everything from the streets and generators. It was incredibly disappointing and when we left to check out, they just took the keys and said bye. Never gave us chance to give the feedback there. When we arrived there was no one at the checkout and we didn't know where to go. The room had clearly been renovated, there was no instant coffee available in the room. Unfortunately the nice decor and architecture didn't save from the fact it was an awfully hot and miserable night's sleep!!
Katie E — Google review
One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. First of all, there is no one to help you carry your bags. The receptionist is the one who carries them, and they do not have a cart for that. My daughter and I carried our bags, and there was no one to help us, and we are on the third floor. Second, the air conditioning does not work in the entire hotel, and they did not inform us of that, unfortunately. Their services are very bad and they are not cooperative. My rating for them is zero, and I advise everyone not to stay there.Very very bad 🤢
Layal P — Google review
The current refurbishment is making this hotel useless. The only saving Grace was the bar and breakfast staff. The list of negatives.....rooms are terrible, bathrooms are dates and showers are useless, no air con so winds required to be open which meant the 4.30am and 6am bins collection was VERY unwelcome all three nights. The reception staff could not have been more unfriendly and could not care less about everything from trying to check in early (I'd have paid) to the complaints about bins. I will NOT be back.
Iain M — Google review
This hotel is in a lovely location and it's got lots of potential, it looks like great thing coming with the new refurbishment. I'd say customer service is not the best as I was concerned about noise in the evening to a lady who showed no empathy and told me typically people that stay here on weekends go out on the weekend. At the end there was no noise in the evening but a more reassuring solution -orientated approach would be more useful than a 'if you can't beat them join them'
Jay A — Google review
It's a shame the noise insulation is so bad. During my 5 night stay I was woken every night by people shouting in the street, refuse collections, workman operating cranes while maintanence work/window cleaning was being done to offices opposite the hotel. They seem to have few options while they upgrade the hotel as I was only offered an alternative room 2 floors above the one I was in, but facing the same road. The hot breakfast options were great but there was no fresh fruit available when I stayed at the hotel.

Nice hotel, room was lovely. Slightly dated but I like that, has character. Bed was so comfy and room has everything you need and more. Very good location. Q Park very close and hotel discounted the over night parking which was brilliant. We paid £10 for breakfast which was so worth it. Food was delicious. Reception staff were really friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are a good size and beds are comfy, however noise is a real issue, noise leakage between rooms is excessive, the room door locks are not secure and there is a facility nearby that plays very loud music until 10:30 pm so if you want an early night - you won't get it. Rooms were relatively clean but there were some parts of the room that clearly needed replacement. Overall not very impressed, comfy beds don't compensate for all the other downsides.

Great stay in central Leeds, 3/4 beds are really comfy. Enjoyed my stag here. However the rooms are slightly dated old-fashioned key system for entry but the shower was quality after giving it 10 mins to heat up. I'd definitely stay here again

Central location warm welcome clean good size rooms. Stayed overnight with family after attending a show. My room had a king size bed - comfy too. Dressing gowns and slippers in room along with tea/coffee making facilities. Great range of complimentary shampoo/conditioner etc. Lovely spacious rooms. Although central still very quiet and a great sleep was had by everyone. Definitely recommend.

I stayed here for 2 nights , bang in middle of Leeds with good restaurants and night spots around it. But still not noisy compared to the other hotels I stayed. Bar has interesting cocktails. The breakfast is value for money. Best 3 star hotel I stayed in England. Only negative feedback is outdated carpets.

First stay here as we normally book the Premier Inn but last minute it was full and the Cosmopolitan had vacancies. Dated interior and wasn't the cleanest I've experienced but overall a good hotel with character. Location was excellent - close to the station and right in the middle of all the bars. Quiet and spacious bar on site too. Something I have never we experienced before - you get a complimentary glass of wine on check in! Staff were friendly, informative and efficient.

I enjoyed staying there. I especially want to menetion Didi's name in my review who made the experience of having breakfast there so pleasant. It is a very good hotel if you are looking to stay in Leeds on a budget, I had a really good nights sleep here. The beds were very soft and comfortable. I paid for their breakfast which I think is a little bit expensive but it was probably one of the best buffets I have had so I can't complain too much.

I was shocked by how nice the room was, for the price! GBP 70 per night. There were negatives, but all things considered, still a good value. The entrance/lobby smells like an ashtray. It really smells AWFUL. Leaves a bad impression. The mattresses in the room are old, sagging, you can feel the springs. My dish towel was covered in black stains. All of this can be improved! There were SO many positives! Customer service was great! Everyone was helpful. They’ll happily store your luggage without complaint or extra fees. WiFi worked great! Strong AC. Spacious room. Perfect location! The washer didn’t dry the clothes well, but I got them washed easily. The room was very clean and smelled great! The cleaning crew really works hard because there weren’t even any water marks in the shower. Complimentary croissants were soft. Highly recommend!

Stayed here last weekend. Really good for city centre stays. Clean and tidy. All facilities functioning properly. Only downer was the provided shower gel was empty. Friendly staff and great location. Would book again.

I stayed at Roomzzz before a work meeting. The room was great. Super comfortable bed, amazing shower and tonnes of room. But the one thing that made it stand out from the crowd was the service. I was greeted by Phoenix. Hands down the best greeting I've ever had in a hotel. Warm, friendly and generally gave the perfect first impression. Friendly enough to make personalised conversation but not overbearing in any way. Honestly, if I didn't work so far away, I'd try and poach him for my own business. Roomzzz, try and keep Phoenix through pay rise or otherwise as you're very lucky to have them. 10/10. If I was to make any criticisms at all it would be the breakfast. Really appreciate the gesture of a free yet dry croissant, but I'd much rather have the option pay a little for some jam 😂

Loved this place, room perfectly formed and everything we needed. The staff were so lovely, Adam helped us settle in and leah was just amazing every time we spoke! Definitely recommended. Oh please fix coffee machine though we enjoyed our complimentary coffee and croissant first day but couldn't get the next. Get a balcony room if you can, the pic is of the view.

This was my first time visiting, and the rooms were generally good. However, there were some minor maintenance needs in the bathroom. Overall, the location and other aspects of the hotel were excellent.
Trevor B — Google review
Excellent hidden gem. Very functional, quiet room with welcome little surprises such as a heated bathroom floor and heated mirror so it doesn't fog. Took a star off because the bed could be a little better. Phoenix checked me in and he was an excellent host throughout; good spirits, engaged well, and offered us a few perks like a later checkout. I'd go back and would recommend!

Location is okay in a good spot but honestly 3 nights i booked every morning I have been woken at 6.15am to people moving the bins and emptying the bins... I am away I want a lie in I dont want to be woken by bins being emptied!! I also asked for stuff to be put in room for daughters 18th birthday didnt happen but whatever not end of the world can get over that. Good size apartments and value for money just not happy with being woken up at 6am every morning 🙃 oh and the bathroom had big clumps of hair in when we arrived wasn't pleasant but I just binned it. The one thing I can't get over is the lack of sleep due to being woken at 6 every morning incase I haven't mentioned that already... and when they start at 6 it doesn't stop so trying to get back to sleep is impossible will be demanding a different room if I book again next time.

My daughter(2yr 9mth) and I stayed about 4 night 5days in a smart flat with balcony and were very pleased with our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean and everything you needed. Cooking and washing are convenient there as equipment are well provided. The bed was very comfortable as was the extra pull out type bed for my daughter.Very close to Leeds city station and right in centre. The apartment is quiet even though you are situated right in the centre of the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an apartment in Leeds.

Art Hostel, located in Leeds, is a unique and quirky accommodation housed in a converted warehouse. Each of its 12 bedrooms has been designed by different artists commissioned by East Street Arts, giving them their own distinct personality and decor. The hostel offers mixed dorm rooms with shared bathrooms as well as private doubles, twins, and family rooms with private bathrooms.
I was very happy with my stay at this hostel. It was imaginately decorated and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was a good size and basic breakfast was available. There was a good sitting space behind the reception area and the bedrooms had fantastic heavy wood bunks and storage space below. The showers and bathroom space were also a pleasure to use. Thank you for having me and I hope to come again!
Susan A — Google review
I had a pleasant stay at the Art Hostel in Leeds. The bed was a bit too hard for my comfort, which affected my sleep, but I appreciated that my bed was made and ready for me upon arrival. The hand towel in the bathroom and the number of showers available were great. However, I do think the cleanliness could be improved—particularly with the bedsheets and the fridge, which could use more regular cleaning. The kitchen was spacious, well-equipped, and offered a good selection of tools and supplies. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, providing clear instructions during check-in. I really liked the art concept at the hostel—it gives the place a unique and creative vibe. With a few tweaks in cleanliness and upkeep, the overall experience could be even better and more welcoming. I’d definitely consider staying again!

Wonderful, friendly staff and a lovely, quirky environment. We stayed in one of their family rooms which was perfect for our needs. You could be forgiven for thinking things might be a bit basic, but actually we were better catered for than many hotels I've stayed at, with plenty of toiletries provided and surprisingly comfy beds - far more comfortable than certain 'budget' chain hotels. Definitely recommend.

This was one of the worst hostels I’ve ever visited in the whole of Europe. Bed bugs are rife. Numerous messages of bed bugs left by previous customers but the staff do not advise you of the problems they are experiencing. Plus, I lost my card to enter the room and they tried to charge me for the card. No mention of this was made prior to check in about potential add ons. They temporarily gave me a replacement card that mentioned a charge if the card was lost. This message was not on the lost card or on many other cards held by guests. They are sneakily trying to add extra charges on. I raised this with the manager and all she did was mock and insult me. She accused me of stealing from a charity for refusing to pay a charge that had never been mentioned prior to check in. She also forced me to leave before check out time for failing to accept a reasonable point of view that differed to their unfair policies. I raised a complaint to management and they have ignored my complaint three weeks later. This hostel treats its guests with contempt and creates a very unwelcome experience for guests. Please avoid this hostel at all costs

Made a booking to stay here 6 months in advance. 2 1/2 weeks before myself and my partner are meant to be heading to the hostel I suddenly get an email saying that our booking has to be cancelled because the building has been deemed unsafe and in need of repairs. This is for a weekend where there will be hundreds of people travelling to attend a festival and we’re supposed to somehow find somewhere else to stay last minute?? Nothing in terms of gratuity was offered. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL and do not recommend at all!

Had a short but great stay at this gem of a hostel in Leeds. The rooms are spacious, clean and very cutely done up. They have a lovely breakfast on offer and staff is friendly. The whole hostel had a really nice vibe and I think it comes from goodness of the institution and the people who run it. Thanks for a great stay. If am back in the city I will surely return.
Sudeepta S — Google review
My only criticism of the Art Hostel is that I think the word hostel does it a disservice. You read the word hostel and immediately think of dark, cheap, and unkempt rooms. The Art Hostel is the opposite. Colourful, bright, quirky, clean, and packed full of character. We were met and greeted by friendly staff who had no problem at all dealing with our large booking (24 people), and we were provided with very clean, spacious rooms that are clad with character. Beds had clean sheets and were very comfy. Bathrooms (of which there were plenty) were also very clean, and the shower was lovely. Breakfast and drinks provided in the morning which was a nice touch and though checkout was half ten, there was no urgent push to move us all out and as we left, there was a genuine interest in how our night had gone, and I felt sad that we were not staying longer. Could not recommend highly enough.

Headingley Lodge is a cricketing hotel located inside the Headingley Carnegie Stadium. It offers basic, yet comfortable accommodation with great views of the ground. The friendly service and excellent location make it an ideal choice for fans attending games at Headingley.
Came here for one night with my friend. Simple hotel overlooking cricket ground. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room nice and spacious, clean and all amenities that was needed (kettle, tea/coffee, hairdryer, iron and board, hangers). Super comfy beds, had a great night sleep. Under flight path but didn't find it noisy at all. Nice modern shower room with basic necessities such as shower gel and sachets of shampoo etc. Will definitely be back again if stopping in area :)

Great view of the pitch from our room. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was modern. Very quiet so slept really well. Staff were lovely.

We have just spent the weekend at Headingley Lodge, it was a fantastic stay! On arrival we met the lovely Mandy who was so welcoming and friendly, the room was clean, very big & a lovely view of the cricket pitch! Excellent value for money, we had such a lovely weekend and a big thanks to Mandy once again for being so lovely! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again :)

Computers were down. So room keys didn't work, but security were happy to open doors for us. Didn't really affect us in any way . Views over the pitch were amazing. Would love to book a room when there's a match on!
Stuart H — Google review
I so wanted to love this place but oh my goodness...the rooms are so dated and quite frankly could use a good scrubbing. On the plus side the room was very large, king size bed, single bed, couch and a small table and chairs. The down side, both bed side cabinets had bits hanging off them, the sofa was stained, the sheets were unbelievably scratchy and the room was unbearably warm. Top windows open but almost impossible to close, there was a cold air blower but not much use. Hardly any power points, none near the bed, had to unplug the kettle and fridge to charge phones. The room was quiet until 7am one morning as they were cutting the grass than up until 1am as they were packing away the LED hoardings. Phone call at 9.45pm asking me to move my car to another car park. However, the staff were lovely and if you are looking for basic accommodation with an amazing view of the cricket ground then it's fine. Amazing for us for the Hundred as we got to see the women train the day before and so incredibly convenient to walk back to the room after the match had finished. They could do so much more with what they have. Way too expensive for what I got. So if you go into it with your eyes open realising it's very basic (I've stayed in better Travelodges) and are a cricket fan then it might be OK.
Kay S — Google review
Friendly staff. Great view of pitch. Easy reach of town centre. Only downside no air conditioning and only 2 small windows that opened.
Gray H — Google review
We booked this Hotel As soon as the Hundred fixtures were announced. As a Disabled person needed parking close to the hotel as possible only to be told 3 days before game that the car park was no longer available moved to car park F Not Happy ... Rooms are very dated showing it's age. Lovely view over the pitch. SHAME you can't use the seats outside the room overlooking the pitch. Then had to purchase tickets then walk around the ground to see seats. I Was told the railing were too low didn't meet with Health & Safety height . Then told by another member of staff the balcony were only used for Corporate events... England Matches
Robert K — Google review
The hotel reception is quite basic but the staff were very helpful, giving us directions to local restaurants etc. There is no breakfast available (except a continental option delivered to the room). We didn't take up the option. The room was a good size with views over the cricket pitch. The bed, however left a bit to be desired. It was really uncomfortable with the weirdest array of odd shaped pillows. You should speak to somebody at Premier Inn about pillow quality. They never disappoint. The room was not serviced by housekeeping at all during our stay. The bathroom had a lovely shower cubicle but only one really small shelf for personal toiletries above the sink. We had booked for 2 nights but left early.

The Mercure Leeds Centre Hotel is a casual hotel located in the heart of Leeds, offering simply furnished rooms and complimentary Wi-Fi. Its convenient location makes it an ideal base for exploring the city, with Leeds Railway Station just a short five-minute walk away. The hotel's decor reflects Leeds' history as a center for tailoring, with contemporary rooms featuring fabrics sketched with sewing patterns and chic touches like armchairs resembling suits.
My daughter and I shared a twin room while in Leeds for a conference. Staff were friendly and efficient. Everything and everyone seemed relaxed and easy. We were able to store our cases there ready to collect at the end of our conference. We enjoyed the decor too. Despite being in a central location, we found the area quiet.

Not the cheapest hotels in Leeds by any stretch. £130/night. Great queen size bed, very comfortable. Nice room, could do with floor standing lamps though, lighting isn't the best. Good sized bath. Breakfast would have been okay, but was cold. Room service was very poor. whole breakfast/ coffee came cold, no cutlery, missing items, not enough bowls for boxes of cereal brought. a shame it let the whole visit down.

This is my second time of staying here. The first time I was allocated a basement room to negotiate. The corridors are tricky and obviously no windows 🙄 save for the lack of windows it was decent very modern room and clean. This time I am on the second floor and have windows! Which is nice even though the view is far from ideal. The first time I stayed breakfast wasn't included in the price and to be honest I wasn't bothered especially after walking past it in the morning. This time breakfast was included. Breakfast starts at 6:30 I arrived at 7:30 for breakfast and the bacon was full of fat and cold :-( the beans and hash browns were also cold the sausages were hot as they were under a separate hot light. The toast took an age (it is serve yourself) and was then only scared with heat so if you are thinking of having breakfast here either don't bother or have it at 6:30 when it is likely to be hot. Overall experience 6 out of 10 the rooms are decent especially if you get a window. Breakfast based on this morning's experience I would probably give that a miss or go early.

Wonderful new hotel in Leeds City Centre. Stayed here last night. Very big room with lots of storage space. The rooms have a good ensuite at a normal size. The staff are very friendly and the dinner menu is really good - varied and a pretty reasonable cost. Delicious food. Really good location just outside Leeds city centre. A fair price for the night. Didn't try the breakfast but if you go by the quality of the dinner food and how great breakfast looked I'm sure it'd be great. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel, good location. Experienced a rude guy when greeting. I had checked in and told my wife which room. So she walked through and he said “where do you think you’re going?”. The entry and lobby area lacked atmosphere. The room was large and spacious with good facilities.

Modern hotel. We stayed in number 27 which was on the ground floor. Bed and pillows was comfy with plenty of room for 2 people. Their was hardly any road noise at night but had noise around 7am with commercial vehilces load and unloading goods to various buildings. One problem with room was that our toilet was not cleaned which i complained about. The service staff cleaned it very quickly and gave myself and wife a free drink which was nice. Our room was very comfy and every thing worked as it should. The staff was pleasant. The book in was quick. The eating area lobby area and bar area are def above standard. I would def recommend this hotel. Breakfast was cooked fresh (full english) with self service tea coffe cerial fruit jucies ect among other breakfast items.

Village Hotel Leeds North is a laid-back accommodation option that provides contemporary rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as an indoor pool and casual dining facilities. The check-in process was efficient, although the reception area seemed more like an information center than a traditional check-in desk. The room appeared clean and well-maintained, but there were some minor issues such as insufficient towels and basic toilet paper.
Will is an exceptional personal trainer who’s transformed my fitness over the past year. His tailored sessions, like legs day, have boosted my strength and pushed my VO2 max to 46—a milestone I never thought possible! He’s patient yet challenging, adapting to my pace while keeping me motivated, even when life gets busy. His knowledge shines through in every workout, and he’s created a space where I feel empowered, not judged. Recently, his encouragement helped me power through a tough session despite mental lows, showing his real care. If you’re seeking a trainer who blends expertise with support, Will’s the one. 5 stars—highly recommend!

Shout-out to Leighanne Hartley (fitness class manager) – Leeds North Leighanne has transformed my gym experience. She’s a total grafter — always full of energy, giving constant encouragement, and pushing us to do our best. She checks in with beginners or anyone with injuries, and her clear, professional approach makes every class feel safe and welcoming. Oh and I love how she says 'please' when doing stretches etc LOL :) Can't wait to try new classes with her in the future. She’s a real asset — please don’t lose her!

Theres no exit signs no where, i found it hard to make it to my room and back to reception. Reception are no where to be seen when my toilet broke so i had to do long walk to reception toilet everytime i needed it. Tried phoning them instead with no answer to see if i can change room. I woke up this morning to a unauthorised transaction £104 witch was my money to feed my kids next week. I already paid for the room so its there mistake but of course they can take instantly but never send it back instantly. So overall i didn't have a toilet, i dint get to sleep and my kids will be going hungry due to them charging my twice. Aviod this hotel Next room had a party till the sun came up. And again no reception at night to ask them to turn music down. Poor management and poor staff. Another hotel where they take but don't provide a normal standard.

Just want to give a big shout out to the friendly staff. Especially Lucy who I believe is one of the lifeguards in the Spa area. She was so approachable, a really nice smile which helps if you ever have any questions. In honesty. If I could, I'd give her 10 stars but i don't think it's possible. But I do want to say to village hotel, I'm not sure how you reward your staff but LUCY deserves a 10 Star rating. Thank you very much Lucy. I will definitely recommend to friends and family! A big thanks to the Village team, would highly recommend.

Functional hotel for the hundreds of people that come here for a variety of reasons (work, kids sports, etc) especially on weekends. Rooms are quite small and average quality with limited shelf space in the bathroom (just put your own products on the floor and no need for a hand towel rail), closet and charging points. Downstairs bar is OK when no football is on (otherwise don’t bother) and wouldn’t go near the pool as looks very average. Parking is reasonably plentiful depending on what time you arrive or return.

The gym has a great variety of machines, so I never have trouble finding what I need and there is always a machine free so never feels over crowded. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help, especially Lucy, she’s always smiling and happy to answer any questions I have. It really makes a difference in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay in Leeds, the Holiday Inn Express Leeds - City Centre, an IHG Hotel is a fantastic choice that doesn't skimp on comfort. Located just a short 15 to 20-minute stroll from the vibrant city center, this hotel offers easy access to public transport and nearby attractions like the Royal Armouries. The contemporary rooms are designed with modern amenities including free WiFi and flat-screen TVs, ensuring you have everything you need for a pleasant stay.
We recently stayed at this hotel as a family of six—four kids and a puppy in tow—and the experience was made truly exceptional thanks to James and Iain. Despite working a late shift and then being back again early in the morning, they were simply outstanding. They went above and beyond to support us, proactively offering help before we even knew we needed it. Nothing was too much trouble—they accommodated every possible need with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to make our stay comfortable. While our room was a bit noisy due to its location near the road (you could definitely hear the traffic), something I normally find hard to cope with at night, the incredible service more than made up for it. James and Iain are the ultimate example of what customer service should be. Because of them, this hotel will absolutely be my first choice if I visit again. They turned a good stay into a great one—and that’s something truly special.

Good clean hotel, decent breakfast, friendly helpful staff. It’s a little out on a limb but that said, about 15 minute walk to town centre, so not too bad. Sofa not the most comfortable to sit in but bed and pillows were fine. Good for a low cost stay.

Fantastic hotel! I had an unforgettable stay with my two dogs and couldn't be happier. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. The room was beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a day out and about. The hotel's location is ideal, convenient for exploring the area. And what about the breakfast? Exceptional! A wide selection of fresh delicacies that made our mornings even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, Rating: 10 out of 10!

We stayed at this hotel in April for a short 3 night break and the staff were friendly and efficient making our stay here very enjoyable. The location was excellent for us as all the attractions in Leeds were walkable. The surrounding attractions like the Yorkshire dales where easy to access by car or train. Would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Leeds.

It's a fairly standard holiday inn express - perfectly adequate in every sense of the word! The room was a little small (we were in a family room and the kids need was a 'double' sofa bed which was a bit of a squeeze for them). Parking is a little worrisome as the car park isn't huge, and you have to pay, and it's open to the public, so you could pay, go out for dinner, then come back to find there's no spaces! Breakfast was nice and hot. Only quibble was that the allergen information was not easily available so had to ask for it. Staff we're very helpful and accommodating of my daughter who has some complex dietary requirements!

Overall good experience, rooms got everything you need - but the pillows could be softer in my opinion. The location is relatively quiet and like a 15 minute walk to city center. The service during checkin was okay, as the lobby was really loud and we almost got checked in under the wrong guest, but checkout service was really friendly on the other hand!

Nestled near the airport, Mercure Leeds Parkway Hotel offers a blend of modern comfort and Tudor-style charm. The 118 stylish rooms feature contemporary decor with a touch of 1930s glamour. Guests can enjoy picturesque views of the Yorkshire countryside and explore the 130 acres of parkland and formal gardens by the Golden Acre Park wildlife reserve. The hotel boasts an indoor pool, sauna, fitness center, and a full-service spa offering massages, body treatments, and facials.
Used the hotel as a venue for a Baby Shower. The setting is lovely next to Golden Acre Park. Room was perfect for our needs and very well set up with lovely table decorations, private entrance and the use of a private bar. We had an afternoon tea and there was more than enough food - all of which was lovely. Thanks to the events manager Joel and all the team on the day - anything we needed they were more than happy to help. At £11.95 PP for everything it was in my opinion great value.

I did a first aid training course here, there were numerous pieces and piles of rubbish around the hotel grounds, a pile of smashed furniture two stories high at the back in the courtyard, I'm not joking it was like an enormous bonfire pile but leaned up against the wall.

Stayed in October 2021, as guest at a wedding held at the hotel. Room was massively overpriced and not clean. Windowsill appeared to have soil on it. Strong smell of stale tobacco and urine in corridor and room. Dangerous threadbare carpets on stairs. Won't be staying here again

A really pleasant stay. Very pleased with every aspect from the time of booking to the time of departure. Cosy room with lovely woodland view. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The staff were attentive, courteous and helpful at each stage. Particularly impressed by Barry in the restaurant who seemed to enjoy his job and was cheerful, good-humoured and showed real interest. The restaurant itself was of a high standard and had a very good range of meals to choose from. Meals were very well prepared and very well presented. Congratulations to chef and serving staff. The spa facilities were a welcome feature, much appreciated and much used. We enjoyed the spa bath, swimming pool, steam room, sauna and massage and came away feeling pampered and refreshed. A most enjoyable stay. Would be very keen to come again and would certainly recommend it to anyone considering a visit.

The Corn Mill Lodge Hotel in Leeds offers classic rooms with en suite bathrooms, free parking, and Wi-Fi. Completed in 1998, the hotel's design is inspired by an original Corn Mill on the site. As a family-run establishment, it provides personal attention to guests and accommodates various occasions such as business visits, social gatherings, and weddings. The hotel features a restaurant known for its Sunday carvery with a selection of meats and a veggie dish available upon request.
We come here every year with our car club, and it never disappoints. The Sunday carvery is epic. The meats are cooked to perfection, and there's a great selection of potatoes and veg. It really is an experience to behold. There's sometimes a long queue, but it's well worth the wait. A superb carvery, and superb staff.

I didn’t stay there personally but I just had a wedding and some of my friends and family stayed in this hotel and they all came back with positive feedback how it was very clean friendly staff very helpful very local to what you need. It was a lovely place to stay in. The staff are very honest and very kind. My mum left her gold ring in the room she has had it for a very long time so it is very value to her and she thought she would never get it back however the kind lady I can’t remember her name. I’m very bad at remembering name I am sorry. she went looking for this ring in multiple rooms Because my mum kept going to my sister’s room so she looked in both rooms checked everywhere pull things apart just to look for my mum‘s ring she found it. I’ve got it back safe and sound. I really appreciate that woman and I would recommend this place to everyone. 1000% The price itself is very cheap So great places to stay I would come here xx

Felt nervous going alone for a Sunday carvery today but no need. The staff were so lovely, felt I was with family, and the most delicious meal I could have wished for with so many choices of meat and veg. It will now become a regular diner for me! Ps... I am not related to the other lady with my surname.

Our group had our annual Christmas lunch here and we all enjoyed it. The food was excellent. The vegetables were not mushy as must carvery's veg seems to be and the meat was tender and lean. The staff were excellent, attentive and not invasive. They have Black Sheep beer on pumps, but they seem to hide them? I enjoyed a pint, but it's not cheap. We didn't stay here, but I would if I didn't live so close...

My son and daughter in law had their wedding venue here on the 26th April. It was a fantastic venue. The staff went out of their way to make it a day to remember. Nothing was too much. The food was good in every aspect for the wedding meal and evening venue. The room we stayed in gave us no reason for complaint. I give them my thanks.

The food was AMAZING The service staff were AMAZING Carol and Jamie were AMAZING This place was brilliant for our wedding on every level. Even if you don't want a wedding the food they serve is the same on their carvery every day and it is very good. 100% recommend a visit whether it be a stay, meal, function ... Great place.. Dates interior, annoying plumbing noise every time the bathroom was used! Like the sound of a foghorn for 30 seconds after every flush. I mentioned this to the staff a number of times and was told it would be fixed, it never got looked at and indeed was given a different reason by another member of the team who was so unhelpful we decided to leave. Thanks to that I found a much better hotel in Leeds city centre for less than half the price.

Hinsley Hall is a Victorian listed building located just outside Leeds city center, offering affordable and ornate rooms surrounded by greenery in the trendy area of Headingley. It's a convenient overnight stay for events at the First Direct Arena with friendly staff and clean accommodations. While some found the double rooms small, others appreciated the tranquil grounds, helpful staff, and proximity to nearby pubs.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay as a solo traveller. I really appreciated the calming spiritual atmosphere and simply decorated rooms. The room was comfortable and very clean and warm. The only useful addition I feel would have been a mixer tap for the sink in the ensuite. I like the way tea/ hot drink making facilities were available on the same floor. Beautiful ceiling to dining room. The staff were genuinely helpful and nice and low profile! I will be looking forward to my next visit as felt super safe and calm there.

This RC church centre is a beautiful oasis in the centre of a booming student environment in-between Leeds University and Headingley. It has stunning grounds and ample parking for guests. Although its on the main student run into the city and bars, you wouldn't know it. Its very affordable and ideally place if you have kids at the University and need a clean, quiet room near the Uni/City to visit them as in my case. Buses are VERY frequent 10mins to the city centre and cheap or its about 20mins downhill walk 5-10 min cycle onto campus. Finally, they do a very decent buffet breakfast inclusive too! All in all, thanks all round, (especially to Matthew for his help with my room booking).

The room itself is a little pricy, about £150 per night, but that's not so bad when split between multiple people. You do get what you pay for though! Everything in the room worked, beds were lush and comfortable, plenty of lights, plugs, etc. Thick walls too, so we couldn't hear our neighbours. Chap on the front desk was lovely and chatty, no issues not all! Would deffo recommend!

We stayed at Roomzzz Leeds Headingley Apartment, but there was no reception on-site! Check-in was at a different postcode, and we didn't learn this until a few days before our visit. The property did not look like the pictures! The images displayed nice, clean, and modern apartments, but when we arrived, we found an apartment that resembled a council flat-very scruffy. The paint was peeling, the walls were dirty, there were streaks on the microwave and inside the fridge, and the apartment smelled of old oil. The appliances were filthy and covered in grease, making them unusable. Additionally, both our key cards stopped working, and we were trapped in the corridor. When I called the reception to request someone bring us new cards since our dog was locked inside the room and crying, I was told there was no one available and that I had to come to the reception myself. It took me 35 minutes to make the round trip because of the horrible traffic there. In the end, they tried to charge us some extra money, £80 for each day for the dog. We should have only been charged £80 for the entire stay (4 nights) not £80 per day! Thankfully, this was amended.

Great value - very clean and spacious studio. It's great if you need to stay a few days and you'd like a self contained place with kitchenette, laundry machine and dishwasher and some space to hang out. There's also a good coffee machine in the lobby and croissants for breakfast (great if you don't require those hotel buffet breakfasts). The location is great, there are some good eateries nearby, Leeds city centre and train station is a 20 min walk away, or there are bus stops very close by. There are a few good restaurants a few steps away. Parking is easy, there's a parking lot across the road or if you can secure a spot in the garage (extra charge) It's easy to book online through their own website.

Perfect for a night away in the city! 15 minute walk from city centre, very helpful reception staff with great local knowledge (special thanks to Amjit), and with the complementary tea and croissants it’s hard not to recommend this place!

Great location, free on road parking between 8pm-830am then park across the road for few quid. Location is excellent if driving. Room is nice wish beds were King size. Shower is tiny 80x80cm only thing that let is down. Rooms are very warm, they do provide with 1 little fan.

I stayed here for my first ever trip overseas, and this is my first time booking into a hotel. Amazing experience. At this hotel. Originally got there at 9 am and I thought I could check in early. Because my flight came in at 8. And I thought I could check in early. The reception said i can’t check in yet it’s too early but she held my suitcase and kept it safe for me when I went outside and explored Leeds city centre. I came back when I was closer to my time the chicken. I got my suitcase and checked into my room. .It’s a good hotel room nice and spacious. It’s exactly like an apartment you have everything you need like a microwave washing machine dishwasher stuffed top pots and pans etc. and they even give you dishwashing liquid. I know really beautiful of you. the bed was like the most comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. I also did enjoy the croissants and coffee in the morning in the reception. Those very nice not to have to buy breakfast every morning,. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying at this hotel. So I recommend coming here. You are very close to the city centre like a 17 minute walk if you don’t want to walk you can also take the bus that’s only a minute walk from the hotel. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel if I come back to Leeds.

Mansio Suites Headrow is a luxurious hotel in Leeds offering elegantly furnished apartments with kitchenettes and Nespresso machines. Guests have raved about the comfort of the beds and the quiet, spotless, and beautifully presented rooms. The location is ideal for various purposes such as Christmas shopping, family getaways, or romantic escapes while still providing a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. The welcoming reception adds to the overall positive experience at this posh hotel located just 0.
Just returned home from an overnight stay and really pleased with our stay. Location was perfect, especially if you’re heading to a gig at the FD Arena, which we were. The apartment itself was spot on, good size and very clean. Also great car parking facilities. Only minor criticism I’d say is the bathroom smelled of drains, not terribly but enough to know there’s probably an issue. Apart from that though, I’d certainly recommend, especially as the price is much cheaper than most hotel rooms and you get so much more. Would definitely stay again if/when we return to Leeds.

Very convenient location - a bit of initial confusion on where to go to check in. Allowed us to leave our bags to be taken to the room before the room was ready. Room had everything we needed for a weekend - the shower & water pressure is great. Did find the room was quite warm on a morning even with the Dyson air cooler and the windows open but I think that was due to our room being sun facing. All in not too bad really - I'd say they're more of a 4* accommodation than 5* however there isn't much in it. Would be nice for earplugs to be provided for light sleepers as there can be noise from the main road at night.

Excellent accommodation , near bars and Arena. Each room fully equipped for self catering 100% recommended.

Good size apartment for a family holiday. The rooms could be better equipped- no kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent or small cereal bowl provided. Fan was broken and almost falling apart. The location was fairly central. However it’s not possible to drive into the alley during morning and afternoon rush hour as the main road is bus only.

Gone down hill in my opinion. The first time, a few years a go it was great. Now, the cleanliness has lacked and the quality has deteriorated. Standards have dropped I'm afraid. There are much better stylish hotels/apartments in Leeds for a fraction of the price.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Mansio Suites Hotel, and I must say that it was far from what I expected based on their website's claims. I feel compelled to share my negative review to warn others about this disappointing establishment. First and foremost, the facilities at the hotel were in severe contrast to what was advertised. Upon arrival, I was shocked to find that the entire hotel lacked a decent reception area. It leaving me a poor first impression. The room itself was a letdown. To my dismay, there was no air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to stay in. The absence of this basic amenity for a so called “five-star” hotel was baffling and made the room unbearable at times. Furthermore, the state of the room was far from satisfactory. The cupboards were cluttered with an assortment of cookware and utensils, giving the impression of a disorganized and unclean environment. To make matters worse, upon entering the room, I discovered remnants of the previous guests' presence. The refrigerator contained leftover ice cubes, which should have been removed prior to my arrival. Additionally, the kettle still had half-filled water from the previous occupant, indicating a lack of attention to detail by the hotel staff. Considering the high price of over £130 for my stay, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I expected a comfortable and well-maintained accommodation, but instead, I encountered multiple issues that greatly affected my stay. In light of my experience, I strongly advise potential guests to steer clear of Mansio Suites Hotel. The false advertising, lack of proper amenities, and overall subpar experience make it an establishment that should be avoided. Save yourself the disappointment and find a more suitable hotel for your stay.

Lovely suites with great facilities. Comfy bed and a nice shower. Reception staff were really polite and welcoming. Had to deduct a star as the lift was out of order and it was a hot couple of days. There was no air con and the fan provided didn't quite manage to cool the room.

Couldn't have asked for more, me and my family had a family wedding to attend in Leeds. We have stayed in hotels in the past but the space and lighting was not the greatest. I came across roomzzz in my search and found pictures of the light and spacious 2 bedroom apartments that were available and close by the family and very affordable. I signed up to be a free member and was offered further savings. All booked up in advance we realised a week before our arrival we needed to amend our booking to arrive the night before. I called customer services and they were able to accommodate and help. Upon arrival I collected the keys from another location, the staff were very helpful. We had no issues during our stay, cleaners also came and refreshed our apartment halfway through our stay which was nice. The only issue we had was on the day of checkout where our hot water had stopped working, I called customer services and they had maintenance on site who came to our room and sorted the issue out. As a result of this the site let us checkout an hour later. I would highly recommend roomzzz for anyone's next stay. It is definitely value for money compared to any hotel around.

We stayed here over Christmas and overall this is a great place to stay in this part of Leeds. The accommodation is really good value and the apartments are well kitted out. The caretaker was very friendly and offered to help us when we arrived. Parking is free and it feels secure. The kitchens are basic but there is enough kit to self cater. The beds are perhaps a bit squishy and the rooms have TVs. The wifi is excellent and overall we would recommend staying here.

Convenient location, lots of parking, great accommodation. Good facilities with a choice of size of apartments from studio to two bedroom, all with full kitchens. The only problem is that the heating doesn’t work on a timer and some of the radiators are broken in some of the apartments, so it can be cold. Otherwise great

Bad experience. - I stayed there for two nights. They did take a £100 fees at check out. They said it for deep cleaning!! That's awful. Won't be back again, they just want your money!! The location of the hotel is far from the city center, it is boring your location.
Noor S — Google review
They took £100 deposit from me and claimed to smell smoke within the room, I do not smoke and neither do my friends, they had said there was no damages what so ever but kept £100 just because hey could apparently smell smoke. Not just that they had been in to my bank again to get £50 which they are not allowed to do but yet they say it was an ‘error’ but it was not as they did it with two separate transaction’s. Would not recommend this place at all avoid at all costs, I will be going to the police.

This place was an absolute life saver after arriving in Leeds to find our booked accommodation was not available. We were able to book approx 1 hour before checking in via their website. Whilst the apartments are not in Leeds City Centre, it was an easy location to travel to and from and cost approx £10 in an uber from the city centre. There is secure on site parking although we did not use this. The apartments are unmanned and check in and key collection is from a Roomzzz closer to the city - around a 25 min walk or £5 uber ride. We stayed in room 019 on the 3rd floor - a two double bedroom apartment with an en suite in one room and a full bathroom and kitchen. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. There was a fridge freezer, dish washer and washing machine, along with a selection of tea and coffee (including a cafetiere) The rooms were a little noisy in terms of noise from the lift shaft and other guests in the corridors but otherwise great. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Leeds.

Nice place, but TV in living room not working, as was the remote control for the one in the bedroom, found out late pm, so didn't flag it up with the off site main office. Saying that would stay again, secure off road parking saved some cash.

The suites boast modern amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi and concierge services to enhance your stay.
Loads for place, our apartment offered two large double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. A large kitchen and reception area was also a nice to have. The location is great for going on nights out in Leeds - two minute walk to the main bars. Very clean and good spec.

Gorgeous apartment unfortunately smelt of smoke. Central to shops/bars too. Told us to book in at reception but we were buzzing the door and in the end had to phone up to which the receptionist said oh you need to come to another building!! No message previously sent on booking.com to that effect. Not a good start
Lady R — Google review
This was my 2nd time staying at the Basinghall site, and I would happily stay there again as the suites are of an overall high quality in a fabulous central location, and I have found them to be both comfortable and great value on both occasions. The location is superb, right in the City Centre with bars, restaurants, all the shops you could want and Express supermarkets all within minutes walk. It’s a very easy walk to and from the train station too from there. As the building has no reception, check in is round the corner at their other site just off The Headrow, and has limited hours but I was aware that self check in was possible if not within those times. I was also aware there was a pretty sizeable deposit to be taken for breakages etc (in my experience the deposit is refunded within 2 working days). Staff on Reception were very efficient and I had key cards within a few minutes. The building itself is pretty plain from the outside, but inside is nice and fairly elegant. My experience was that it was very quiet all evening. The suite given to me on both occasions was slightly below ground level accessible by a few stairs, facing an internal courtyard, so the view wasn’t inspiring to say the least!!Other floors are accessible by lift. The suite was clean, with what I thought was a very tastefully done decor, and contains a very large living area with the back wall containing a kitchen area with full size fridge, worktop, Bosch cooker and hob, washing machine and dishwasher. A dishwasher tablet is provided, along with cutlery and dishes and other cooking and cleaning implements, and two bottles of complimentary water were in the fridge. The bin was a bit bashed in, which slightly spoiled the otherwise immaculate area. Opposite to the kitchen area is a dining table (the table was already laid as if for dinner for two - I can’t say I’m a fan of this as it just allows dust to gather, but the plates and table looked clean), comfortable sofa and armchair and Samsung TV with full access to their Apps. The bathroom is a good size, with both overhead rain shower and smaller shower head working very well. The basin area has sufficient room to place a good amount of bathroom products on it. Towels were of a good standard. Dressing gowns were also provided. The bedroom contains another Samsung app enabled tv, a chest of drawers, bedside tables on either side and a wardrobe including a safe. The bed itself was big and very comfortable but was rather low down - my preference would be for it to be on a higher base. I had no major issues during what was a relaxing stay, although on both occasions I’ve found the air conditioning to be completely ineffective and if temperatures were higher I imagine it could get uncomfortable given the location within the building and minimal air flow - as it was, with the windows open as much as they could all night (which isn’t a lot), it was fine. I also realised during the evening that no cups were in the cupboards and certain cutlery was missing from the table - it turned out that these were in the dishwasher and unwashed which was annoying and did lead to questions about whether staff are checking the appliances regularly after each stay. However, these ultimately minor inconveniences in the circumstances didn’t detract from a very comfortable and good value stay.

These apartments are amazing. They provide fresh milk, tea, coffee, cold drinks. Staff are helpful. Beds are comfy. Only down fall is that you have to hang the towel at other side of the bathroom......thats hardly a complaint.. Honestly the best apartments i have ever stayed at.

Beautiful apartment with a luxurious feel, we were surprised to find it very quiet despite being in the city centre. We stayed for one week and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend when staying in Leeds.
Siánn L — Google review
Lovely apartment, very helpful at reception, even very kindly, looked after my suitcases after my checkout time, until the evening... Bed was comfortable but the bottom sheet was too small to fit.... Would definitely stay again.
Jacquie T — Google review
Honestly, so disappointing. They’ve been closed for 3 months but haven’t managed to get minor issues sorted. Window in living room doesn’t close, fridge door broken, cigarette burns in the sofa. No welcome pack even though advertised on the website. Spoke to a rude receptionist who said it’s all due to COVID. I wasn’t aware that Tesco stopped selling milk due to covid. Anyway, all that aside they are still charging £400 a night so very disappointing. I would avoid where possible, Quebec’s is half the price and COVID doesn’t stop them putting milk in your fridge.
Richard B — Google review
I am very dissapointed. Last time I stayed at The Headrow and it was great. This time at Basinghall there is no one at reception , so there is no 24 hour concierge. On top of that they didn't tell me they only clean every four days and only staying for four days. Had I known that I wouldn't have booked here.

Located near the Merrion Centre, First Direct Arena is a unique entertainment venue in Leeds that hosts big names from various industries. From music concerts to theatre events, stand-up comedy tours to sports events, the arena offers a diverse range of entertainment options. It is also known for its distinctive fan-shaped architecture where all seats face the stage, providing an immersive experience for the audience.
We had a fantastic night watching Busted vs. McFly on Sunday. I love this arena because it's set up so there aren't really any 'bad' seats, everyone has a good view of the stage. Getting in through security, getting drinks and toilets were so smooth it was a dream. I need to say a HUGE SHOUTOUT and thank you to the wonderful lady who was stewarding section 329, you really made our night in spite of some miserable concert goers. PSA, if you don't want to have a good time, don't go to a concert of a 00's boy and and ruin it for everyone else.
Kirsty E — Google review
Visiting for a gig was simple as security checks were swift and there are helpful signs to find your seats. The usher was very helpful regarding rows and sections. There are two screens in the arena for viewers at the back. Would return again for similar events. Be wary of pricings though, as a bottle of still water was £7!

Great british pub awards dinner held at this arena. The arena is very substandard. No toilets on the event floor level. Causing havoc for women in heels. Really poor toilets. Lights missing, door missing on the men's. These are basics. For am awards dinner you would expect a venue that is able to cope with a certain level of customer expectation. Security staff were very polite and ok point. If you are looking to host a formal dinner or expecting a women in heels and men who like lights and doors in toilets. This is not the venue for you.

Has been there for Simply Red concert. Well organised everything was on time. Not impressed with t- shirt prices but I think that maybe the band indication. Good acoustic. Overall good experience.
Magdalena K — Google review
We went to see Simply Red in September. We paid £175 per head for the North Gallery. It was a mixed bag. The photos are what you see from where it is. If you have the choice between the back few rows that are high up and the gallery, take the latter. If the cost difference isn't huge. The view of the stage is unobstructed, but if you want to see the artist up close, you may want to avoid this. The description of it sells it as more of a suite or corporate box. It's not, you'll pass those on the way. It's essentially a self-contained, tiny corridor with around 15 barstools, each with limited space to move or dance. There is a dedicated waitress service, and she was lovely, although you receive one token each for a complimentary drink. I had a Diet Coke, which half-filled the glass. I inquired and was told they only served 330ml bottles of Coke, hence it was half full. It didn't look good and didn't sit well with us. Subsequently, 2 alcoholic drinks and the Coke cost me £23. The toilets are immediately outside, so instantly accessible. The kitchen apparently closed at 20:30 - it may not always be so - which seemed a bit like the DC. For about 10 - 15 max people, at least offer cold snacks or sandwiches. Maybe they do, but if so, we weren't told. The external entrance to the VIP area is clearly visible and well signposted, with a dedicated lift providing direct access upstairs. If the cost wasn't significantly higher than the high rows, we would use it again. Obviously, that's an individual judgement call. On the other hand, we felt somewhat short changed. There was certainly no wow factor. But it was ok.
Nigel B — Google review
I have only visited the First Direct Arena in Leeds once and that was to see Chris Rock live. I got parked near the venue were pretty cheap, with a really pleasant surprise that right next to the arena, there were plenty of food options outside of the venue so you don’t have to buy expensive drink or snack in the venue itself if you choose to. The arena itself is pretty big, and spaced out quite nicely so you aren’t feeling claustrophobic when sitting down or getting up to walk around the arena for the interval. Overall, I would recommend it, and I will make a trip back here one day.

Great venue, we came here for the first time to watch John Bishop. The drink prices are very expensive for 6.90 for a large soft drink is absolutely scandalous. But the venue itself is good. Only not a 5 due to extortionate drink and food pricing

Visited on 7 Nov to see Peter Kay. We booked premium tickets which included a meal. This meant we could enter earlier than the normal door opening time and through a dedicated entrance. We were taken straight to our table where we enjoyed champagne and a tasty 3 course meal. With this package, your table is yours for the whole evening so you are not rushed to finish your meal and you can return to it for the interval. There are also dedicated restrooms with Molton Brown handwash, a lovely touch! For the performance, you enter the arena through an internal door, so no queueing and then you can show your ticket to return back through at the interval. There is a private bar with lots of staff so queueing is minimal but you can also preorder interval drinks. We did this and they were waiting on our table when we got there. Highly recommend this premium experience, all staff were excellent throughout, our server was fantastic (table 40), and security staff were also great. It was so great to see Peter, years after we originally booked and worth the wait x 🙏💙🇯🇵👁🤣

Leeds City Museum is a captivating destination that offers an immersive journey through the history of Leeds. With its diverse collection spanning natural science, archaeology, heritage, and ancient history, the museum provides a comprehensive look into the city's past. One of its highlights is the Life on Earth gallery, housing an impressive 800,000 specimens. Notably, the museum's iconic tiger exhibit has become a beloved symbol of Leeds' heritage.
Super wonderful! Loved the exhibits - made me excited about Leeds. Wonderful having the thoughts of the visitors through the exhibits. And dress up boxes for the kids! And I had a lovely time sketching at the Sunday Artifacts workshop - fab low pressure art session with great materials and friendly staff.

Leeds City Museum is a standout cultural gem in the heart of the city free to enter, rich in variety, family-oriented, and deeply rooted in local heritage. Its strengths shine in accessibility, architecture, and interactive appeal. While a refresh in certain exhibits and smoother layout flow could elevate the experience, it remains a top choice for locals and visitors alike.
Eby’s E — Google review
👍 What’s Great About Leeds City Museum 1. Free entry / Affordable It's currently free to enter, which is a big plus. There’s talk of introducing a “pay-as-you-feel” in future, but so far it remains free. 2. Variety of exhibits A mix of natural history (“Life on Earth” gallery), local history (Leeds Story), and world cultures. Two of the most notable pieces are: The Leeds Tiger (a taxidermy tiger) — a bit iconic locally. Nesyamun, the Egyptian mummy — interesting if you like ancient Egypt. 3. Family friendly The museum has won awards (e.g. the Kids in Museums Family Friendly Museum Award in 2018) for being welcoming to families and children. There are activities aimed at younger visitors. 4. Good location & infrastructure It's centrally located in Leeds (Millennium Square) — accessible by public transport. The building has ramp/step access, lifts, a café etc. Clean toilets, decent café are often mentioned. 5. Engagement & social/economic impact The museums (including this one) are well used: high visitor numbers, lots of school groups, strong public value. They contribute significantly to the local economy. 🔬 What to Expect & Tips Before You Visit Give yourself ~1 to 2 hours depending on how deeply you like to explore. If you go slower or read a lot, you might stay longer. Wear comfortable shoes; there’s a bit of walking, stairs / lifts. Go during quieter times (weekday mornings) if you prefer less noise / fewer crowds. Bring a camera if you like, but be ready for some glare or dim lighting in places. If you have mobility needs, check in advance about access routes (which entrances are most accessible, etc.). --- 🎯 Verdict Leeds City Museum is a solid choice for a casual, interesting museum visit. It’s great value (free entrance), has a mix of content (local history + natural history + global culture), and is especially good for families and tourists. If you're expecting a super modern museum with flawless interactive tech or beautifully curated blockbuster exhibits, you might be a bit disappointed in parts. But for what it is — a city museum providing lots of variety — it's worthwhile.

This hidden gem, exceeded our expectations. The area outside is remarkable. Upon entering there was a lovely lady greeting us, more than happy to explain our tour around the museum. I’m guessing she had been stood there all day, but still so happy , showing great passion for her place of work. And rightly so once we made our way round, the place it was exceptional. We are museum geeks, visiting many. This was one of the best. The first floor with the animals, was lovely to see them inside glass protection. You could do a 180 to see all angles, get a real feel of there beauty. There was lots of interaction areas for younger children, my daughter is 12 still enjoyed this experience. As you climb the stairs/floors there was so many wonderful interest different topics. It was a really enjoyable experience, we went as a family , we all enjoyed it. You could easily spend a couple of hours taking in all the marvels. It truly was a surprise inside, do pay this museum a visit. It is tidy, clean & orderly. Definitely one of the best we have visited. No tickets or payment for entrance, donations can be made. Which we did, More than happy to support wonderful places like this .

A lovely way to spend an hour or even more depending on how much you love the history of Leeds and some even older, like Roman, Greek and Egyptian artifacts. There are three full floors of exhibits and displays and things of interest scattered about ( not really scattered but placed ,) for your viewing pleasure. Loads of families were here when I visited as a solo adult. There's free wifi, toilets, a lift, a cafe and a gift shop. Donations appreciated of course. The staff are very nice and friendly and will point you in the direction or give you most any info you are looking for. Enjoy your visit !
Elk H — Google review
Loved it. Came here during half term with my children and they were captivated and interested in everything they saw. Could’ve spent a lot longer there if I was on my own.
Gabriel O — Google review
Really nice museum, we entered and a lovely volunteer guided us towards everything (you can also get a map). Four floors of exhibits and you can spend as much time as you want here. Also has a gift shop on second floor, a lift that provides accessibility, and a cafe on the ground floor. Also enjoyed the history of miffy exhibit and the mummy.
Aromal N — Google review
Visited for the Miffy exhibition which was small but cute and got the added bonus of the natural history area downstairs which was my favourite, a few other floors of things to see too and a nice gift shop. The staff in the cafe were very friendly, this was my first visit but I'll look forward to going again!

Located in the heart of Leeds, this budget hotel offers spacious and comfortable 'Cocoon' bedrooms with en-suite showers and air-cooling. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, making it perfect for business or leisure travellers.
Second visit here and not disappointed. Very clean, very quiet and very easy to get to from Leeds bus station. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. 15 minute brisk walk this morning to Leeds railway station was the best way to get the day started after a very peaceful and comfortable night at Ibis Budget Leeds Crown Point. Very highly recommended.

Firstly want to say I had a nice stay here. Room was basic but I knew it would be when I booked it. I had a baby with me and cots aren't provided, which was fine for me but others might need to know that! The place was spotless, and comfortable and the staff on reception that I spoke to were helpful and friendly. I have one negative though - the housekeeping lady on floor 7 (her trolley had the name Diana on it). I was going to breakfast with baby in the pram. She was in the corridor with her trolley, and she herself was blocking the way. As I approached I said to her "sorry" (as in, "excuse me") and she just put her hand up in my face and then repeated it back at me. I'm unsure if she was mocking me and I was pretty taken aback so I didn't respond. It was a very odd thing to do, especially as she was aware I was there so why she didn't move before I got there is a question. Perhaps looking for an altercation. Shortly afterwards I had her banging on my door while I was in the toilet. Checkout is 12 i believe and this would have been about half 10. I saw other people on the floor checking out so why go disturbing other guests who haven't done so yet? I bumped into other housekeeping staff in the lift who were all pleasant so this isn't a complaint about general housekeeping.

Great big rooms with comfy beds! We stayed for five nights and had a great stay. Our dog came with us and we had plenty of space in the room. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the rates were super reasonable. It’s a quick walk to the bus station and city center. Fifteen to twenty minutes walk to the train. Close to Leeds minster, good pubs and bars, and lots of good cafes in the docks! This is a great ibis for getting out and exploring all that Leeds has to offer!
Simon D — Google review
It really does do the job, it's quite barebones but still rather cosy. You don't get some amenities you'd expect, a kettle, a hairdryer, a fully fleshed chair (we had a stool, comfy enough) it's fine though, the cost represents the facilities and... I'm okay with it, I appreciate what it is, it's not pretentious like some other chains, not overpriced. The very slight gripe I have is with the bed but don't worry, before you think it'll be a deal breaker, it's okay, sleep was good enough, just not quite up to the standard some may expect, this coming from someone who's been spoilt by Fine Bedding Company bedding and Silent Night mattresses, yet I remain humble.

Value for money. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were professional and helpful at all times. Location wise is very good and only 10-15 minute walk away. Will definitely be returning again! Thank you 😊
Anna P — Google review
Cheap and a bit grubby but central location and staff were very helpful. When we got there, we should have had 4 rooms across 2 floors but staff made accommodations to place us all on the same floor. I bought a tea from reception and the staff were really helpful providing milk and sugar. We were a hen party so perfect for that occasion.
Catherine S — Google review
Very cheap rooms so a major plus. Rooms don't have a kettle or coffee or tea but there's a microwave in reception you can use. Breakfast is quite a basic continental. Twin rooms are available and have an immovable wooden partition between them. Location is great, with a 15 minute walk to most places like town.

The ibis Leeds Centre Marlborough Street is a laid-back hotel located in the heart of Leeds, just a short walk from popular attractions like Grosvenor Westgate Casino and University of Leeds. The hotel offers simple yet comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi, along with a casual restaurant and cozy bar. Despite being tucked away from the city center, it's within walking distance of major hotspots. Guests appreciate the clean and presentable rooms, easy booking process, and friendly staff.
Went to Leeds for the weekend for a friend's bday. The Ibis was perfectly located for The Fox and Newt where the party was being held and it was a 10 minute walk into the centre of Leeds. Rooms were clean, no noise from other rooms and the luxury of a late night bar was a true bonus - even got up in time for a huge breakfast!

The hotel is a in a great location given my son's University accommodation is nearby. The staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms were basic but clean. Bed was comfy too! Would definitely stay again & recommend.
Tracy J — Google review
Staff great and very welcoming. Very pleasant and nothing seems too much. Double room at £160.00 for 2 nights, quite basic. Clean, and comfortable pillows. Everything else falls short. Ive stayed a few times at the Ibis Styles Manchester and booked this one in error when booking Leeds. Bathroom is like going in a camper van... fibreglass pods in the room... flickering yellow dull light in there and plastic door. Horrid. Bed not too bad but mattress feels very thin. Plugs on one side of bed only. Would I recommend? Probably not for price you can get elsewhere... in future ill be sticking to Ibis Styles.

Recently stayed at Ibis Leeds Centre for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. All the team members I encountered during my stay were super friendly and attentive, the room was super clean, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast offers a great variety of hot and continental options with a decent vegetarian selection, and the hotel is conveniently located near the city centre. I highly recommend opting to stay here if you’re visiting Leeds and looking for a decent and conveniently located hotel at a fair price.

We often stay here while we visit family in Leeds, good location, good facilities, car parking opposite, walking distance into the city. Ticks the boxes for our requirements. Rooms have always been clean, service has been great.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ibis Marlborough Leeds, from the warm welcome from the staff members to the high security of the hotel, to the amazing ambiance and location of the hotel. I rate them 9/10, they are swift in attending to guest needs and always willing to assist. I look forward to visiting Leeds again.

Exceptional staff apart from manager/senior member, who when I asked for a twin room said none avaliable, however I looked on line and there was. Pungent smell coming from the shower/loo/sink. Which made our stay unpleasant. Again looked for another double room online, available but they were not willing to facilitate. For me personally, I would have left but sadly couldn't afford it. Budget or not, unacceptable

This Leeds spa hotel is the perfect spot for anyone looking to escape the city. With a pool and gym, it's great for taking care of business or taking some time for yourself.
I came across this hotel by accident, I hope all my future accidents are like this. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff are amazing! Ben, Zoe, The breakfast girls and reception staff, Charlie and especially Sam. Made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. Good selection of beers at a reasonable price. Really good food and the breakfasts are really good. Plenty of choice to suit everyone's taste. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay......Thank you all.

Rooms are filthy. Toilets full of dust and mould and cups which were not changed after being used. Fridge plugged out and was wet inside. Corridors smell of damp. Staff in the restaurant couldn't help me locate a baby seat for my child because "he only works behind the bar". Friendly reception lady but get the impression this place is deliberately being run into the ground as there seems to be a general lack of staff and an overall issue with cleanliness. I know as a whole holiday innsncan be hit and miss but this one is 100% a miss. Please avoid.
Drew R — Google review
We were very apprehensive to stay here due to all the negative comments in the review pages. However we had a really good stay the staff were excellent and looked after us very well, we were at a comedy event and the food was ok for a large event. Our room although small was clean and quiet with access to outside as we had a dog. The parking is excellent with disabled bays. There are mini stairlifts for wheel chair uses and ground floor accommodation. The hotel was clean and modern it does have areas that need some attention however none that would make me want to leave a poor review. Thank you to the team on duty for our stay you were all great

We stayed here on our deep isles tour and couldn’t be happier with the room, service or the food . All were excellent . Bed was super comfortable , very clean bathroom and well appointed buffet brekkie filled us up for the day.
Cameron M — Google review
We've been here a few times for work and I think this is the last time. Apart from a couple of the breakfast staff who are lovely the reception staff make you feel like you're a nuisance; really off. There's usually a problem with the rooms either with air conditioning or heating or something. Everywhere is very dated and not always clean. Today we were booked into a room that hadn't been cleaned, beds a mess, towels on the floor, dirty underpants in the bathroom. The apology still felt like we were an nuisance. Really short, insincere and made excuses. The only thing this hotel has going for it is it has a decent breakfast and a Miller and Carter over the road (hence 2 stars for location) Kew Green who has the franchise just seem to be in it for sheer profit. No investment in any of their hotels; just let them run down and still charge a fair whack.
Sarah N — Google review
Generally its not a bad place, dropped the room rating down, just because there was a bottle of previous persons shower gel left in the shower, a couple of the small milks had been opened. Never given option of food or breakfast (so unsure if they do it), and not given prices for the gym and pool (is it free with the stay???) But it was in a nice bit of grounds, another pub across the road, 5 min drive from a small group of shop, maccies etc.
Sammy C — Google review
The hotel is damp, I expected it as we are in a damp area. Strong smell going out the side (which is where the coaches pick up and drop off) reminiscent of urine and sewage. Though that is where the trash bins are. I didn’t have a problem in my room tho. Not an ideal location for exploring the city:
Crystal F — Google review
Avoid weddings and anything expensive if staying here - the iron in the room damaged our wedding clothes and, as dry cleaning didn't resolve the issue, management expected us to drive into Leeds, buy a replacement, return with a receipt and we'd get a partial refund because the garment cost more than he was able to comp us - fuming! It ruined a weekend that was supposed to be a celebration, heaven help anyone that books an actual wedding at this venue

Located near Leeds at Temple Newsam, Go Ape offers an exhilarating treetop adventure for thrill-seekers. With three different obstacle courses reaching heights of up to 15 meters, visitors can dash between trees on zip lines and enjoy stunning views of the estate grounds. The venue caters to all ages, with routes suitable for children as young as four.
Absolutely brilliant experience at Go Ape Temple Newsam, Leeds (20/07/205 @14:30) – highly recommend you go see it for yourself! The course was exciting and well laid out, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout, especially on the more challenging sections. A big shout out to Alexandra for encouragement and help on the Tarzi swing – you were amazing! Also, thank you to the gentleman who assisted with the Plummet (sorry I didn’t catch your name!) – your support made all the difference in combating the challenging zips. My daughter and I really loved every moment of it. Car parking at the location is fairly priced, and they provide handy baskets to keep your keys and belongings safe while you’re on the course. Toilets are only a short walk away, A great day out and wonderful memories made!

Had a great time with a friend this morning. Safety briefing at the beginning and the harnesses and clips are simple and straight forward to use. Good variety of obstacles and challenges - the recent rain made it harder due to becoming slippy. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and welcoming and put us at ease from the very beginning. Special thanks to Taylor for making our day ☺️

We came as a group for birthday celebrations and were amazed with the experience. Everyone there made the trip so much fun especially a man named Sam. Sam helped with our training, safety briefing and a few times through the courses. He made us laugh the whole time and made us feel so much more comfortable even though some of us were scared. Not only this but he remained professional in making sure we understood instructions and keeping us safe. Would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of booking.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Outstanding support and a wonderful day out Today I visited Go Ape with my son, who I know is afraid of heights and adventure. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a team member called Ben, who instantly made my son feel comfortable and reassured. His patience, encouragement, and kindness throughout the event made a huge difference to our day. I also want to thank two other fantastic staff members one with dark hair and a headband, and another who was at the gate and later on the zip line. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names, but your support did not go unnoticed. Thanks to the team’s positivity and understanding, my son pushed himself further than I thought possible. We’ll definitely be back soon with my other son, who I’m sure will complete the course!

Came here for a hen do. We definitely had lots of fun, even though it wasn't everyone's cup of tea! It was challenging in parts but still fun. The zip lines were great and all the staff there were very friendly. We got stuck in traffic in the way there so we were very slightly late, but that was not a problem at all. Everyone had a great day and have created some great funny memories with friends.

I’ve stayed in many Premier Inns for a quick stopover in many places across the country and this has to be the worst by a country mile. The room felt grubby and in need of a really good clean. The corridors were in a similar state and really need the carpets deep cleaning or replacing. The staff on reception came across as equally fed up being there. It’s a very convenient place to stay over before flying out of Leeds airport but next time we’ll find a different place to stay.

Reception was excellent. Room was okay but needed a decoration. Breakfast was very poor. Food was average. Service as friendly but limited. Breakfast room was devoid of any kind of decoration. Cold and unwelcoming. Worst Premier Inn we’ve stayed in out of over 50
Malcolm S — Google review
Very poor stay. We were put in room 1. It was noisy all night, with the door outside banging and people going up and down the stairs. The bathroom was poorly maintained, with rust and dirt on the soap dispenser. The shower was very narrow and the water did not flow well. In the morning, we couldn’t open the curtains as the room looked into a path and there was no net curtains on the window. All in all a really disappointing stay. I will be contacting them for a refund.
Brian K — Google review
Terrible hotel, paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom of room 33. Broken, possibly dangerous lamp in room. Ironing board so old it marked clothes. Public area filthy, sticky, visibly dirty floors in bar/restaurant. Dirty cups and cutlery in dining area. No cooked breakfast or gluten free toast available. Hot-spotting from phone is better than free WiFi.

But for a dedicated mention to Wendy who she would like to give 100 stars, for her support, understanding, and for all of her help and kindness she is a real asset to Premier Inn at Yeadon! Thank you once again!!

Turned up to be told there's no chef, OK fine for the night. Went down for bfast, no chef so paid £10.99 for some Marmite on toast and fruit juice. In the evening, brought in a chef from another site but can't do Pizzas, I'm veggie and there's 2 options...pizza and vegan burger, but there's at least a 1/2 hr wait because "the chef doesn't know where anything is" absolute joke of a place. No compensation offered for the lack of paid for bfast and a barmaid that balked when I explained why I was frustrated at the lack of service. Here for 3 nights, wish I'd booked elsewhere

Pretty good really compared to most premier inns I have stayed at lately. The food was decent but they only sell bottled beer, although there are plenty of other pubs locally including a Wetherspoons just a 10 min walk away. One thing to note is there is a height restriction on the carpark of 2.4m, luckily my van just made it with about an inch to spare.

I am disabled and a pensioner, and I had an accessible room. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, and the fire brigade attended. Not one member of staff checked to see if I had evacuated, and neither did they check to see if I was alright. My room was so hot that I had to have a fan on all night and did not get a good night's sleep.

The restaurant was manned by an 18 year old girl and a lady who couldn't differentiate between peas and beans. I also had my van broken into so please don't park against the hedge. The hotel wouldn't show me the CCTV footage due to "company policy". When the police finally got round to asking to see it the hotel had deleted it. I Wish I'd stayed at home frankly. The more experienced staff were really lovely but it's hard for me to say I had a good stay. Very disappointed 😔

We needed an accessible room. They put us in room 1. If you're a sound sleeper then great but because of the location of the room you can hear when people are coming in and out of the hotel doors. I asked at reception if there was a room above our room I was told that it was the corridor. The noise from that was horrible. There were a couple of times when I heard a thud which made me jump out of my sleep so that put me on edge! The only other accessible room was next door to where we were staying. The Wi-Fi was not great neither was the upgrade.

Stayed here recently. A bit more basic than other Inns. Good points: Friendly staff Quiet Breakfast was nice despite the wait Dinners were nice but the menu needs changing up now as it’s been the same for a while. Large garden area Ample parking Soft pillows available USB points next to beds (which is ok if you don’t need a usb c charger) Bad points: Temperature control in room did not respond. Broken switch on desk lamp Pillows very hard but there are softer ones in the room which were ok. Everything within my room felt sticky, handles, walls, doors. Toilets in restaurant had no soap & no water. Breakfast wasn’t self serve & you had to wait a while for order to be taken & to be brought out. Broken hot drink machine, poor fruit salad selection, minuscule orange juice, stale bread, crumpets & muffins due to them not being covered. Restaurant not open until 5pm! However the receptionist did fetch me a drink when asked. Garden area needs some love, could do with some parasols & for empty glasses from the day before to be taken inside, also the layout of tables were sporadic. Creaky floor which cannot be helped I guess No sockets next to the bed so if you have a USB C charger you have to use the point at the desk across the room. Location was convenient for my office but will not stay here again as I feel it’s too basic & other Inns have more to offer.

Great hotel with everything you need! The managers and staff were super helpful as well and nothing you ask for is too much for them. Will definitely stay here again!

Hotel
The Travelodge Leeds Morley is a basic budget hotel that offers comfortable and affordable accommodation. It's in a handy location near the market town of Morley, with a variety of shops and attractions nearby.
The rooms here are so clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable. In this heat we were happy to see they had a fan in the room. Good shower, TV, everything you need. We asked to have a room away from everyone else because some hotels can be so noisy with people coming in and out their rooms. But here it was completely silent. The staff are also really nice making sure you have everything you need on check in, very accomodating and also making sure we enjoyed our stay when checking out. I think if you have a car it would be good for being a little out of the way of the city centre. There's not much around the hotel but there is a Toby carvery next door, a petrol station and an Asda within walking distance. All in all it was great and exactly what we needed.

The Twin room was pretty spacious and the bed quite comfortable the bathroom was decent as well lots of storage space if you need it. My only issues were that my window wouldn’t close fully so I had to listen to Lorry’s and cars coming past all night and also that the tv didn’t work properly only select few channels worked with no interruptions at all.
Jax — Google review
The hotel was okay and comfortable. Unlike some other travel lodges, they have charging points by the bed side. I wouldn't really recommend their twin/double bed rooms. The beds are quite small. and the rooms are not spacious enough to fit in two beds. there is a toby's right beside it if you want food and drinks.

Lovely Travelodge. Comfortable and well located. The two members of staff we had contact with, Rebecca & Julie, were friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. Love a Travelodge . . . .they're clean & comfortable.
Louise R — Google review
I don't think this should be a 3 star. This is definitely a 1 or 2 star The good: the staff are helpful and friendly, stored my bags for me before check in. The rooms are quite clean. The bad: only 30mins of free WiFi. No fridge in room. No lift. The walls are paper thin. No amenities of any sorts (compendium. Tissues etc) EVERYTHING has a charge. I was honestly surprised the TV wasn't coin operated. There was a 15 pound early check in fee. Which I understand but as I arrived the cleaners were saying they were done. So if my room was ready, why did I have to pay??? I honestly would avoid staying here unless you have no other options.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good value. No hairdryer and low power shower

Clothing store
BEST is a top destination for vintage streetwear and clothing enthusiasts, offering handpicked items from the 90s to early 2000s in their weekly drops. Their collection includes vintage football shirts, timeless sportswear pieces, and popular reworked items like pocket t-shirts. Brands like Nike, Burberry, Carhartt, and Adidas are regularly featured.
Quality customer service and clothes. Lived in Leeds for 9 years before leaving a few years back. The shop always has had stylish clothing options. Visiting Leeds for New Years currently and went in to buy a shirt for my night out. Firstly they saw I had a suitcase and asked me if I wanted to keep it behind the till while shopped. I tried my shirt on and it was a little big for me on the arms. They have an in store seamstress who adjusts clothes for you and they offered to do this for me at no extra cost so I could pick it up the next day. Absolutely brilliant service 👊🏻

Unreal selection of football shirts, staff are so nice and friendly which makes such a difference in these kind of stores! Will definitely return next time i am back in Leeds
Ri — Google review
Bought from this brand online, have called in 3x no response, emailed over 4x fail to respond , returning an item took ages with customer service being painful and offering no support. Have still yet to receive any kind of update or anything on a preorder I made 4 weeks ago. Haven’t sent anything despite my efforts to contact them… would really not recommend as it has been the hassle has overshadowed any positivity gained from what I’m yet to receive. TERRIBLE.
A G — Google review
Annis served us today, she offered amazing customer service and went out of her way to find the perfect jeans for my teenage daughter. Offering a bespoke service of having the drawstring added so no belt would be needed, by the in house seamstress was another huge bonus. Fantastic store! We will be back.
Lindsey D — Google review
My business worked with Best for 2 years, they were great until they ‘lost’ a significant value of my stock and had no intentions of sorting it with me. We had a contract but they failed to let me know they were liquidating their company which they knew full well would mean there was nothing I could do. Would avoid shopping with them at all costs, as the stock you are buying will be from the unfortunate loss of a small business.
Freshmans A — Google review
Would have been nice to try and see what the store was like but can't open on time it seems. Waited outside for ten minutes whilst being ignored by the staff members. One person came out, didn't say anything, and then they proceeded to lock the door again. Looking through the reviews of the place I'm happy I didn't get in. Don't think it'll be around much longer
Kazak — Google review
I ordered a pair of pants and had to wait for months before they came in, and when they did I wasn’t home and couldn’t reschedule the delivery in any way (at the time I already had lost hope of them arriving). So the pants came back to them and I didn’t receive any refund. They do not reply to the emails you send them nor to your calls. So if you are wondering if it’s safe or convenient to buy online from these guys, the answer is not at all.
Sebastiano V — Google review
it could be a decent shop, not really my taste, looks like second hand clothing selling for ridiculous prices. The shop didn't smell too good either. I think the garments need steaming/sanitising. I'm sure people will be interested in this type of clothing experience. I for one will not be visiting again.
