Night club
The Warehouse is a legendary venue in Leeds that has been a staple of the city's nightlife for over 30 years. Originally established as a pivotal space for punk, disco, and new wave scenes, it has evolved into a modern hotspot with state-of-the-art sound systems and lighting. The three-room nightclub offers diverse events ranging from ABBA nights to DnB and techno events, catering to various musical tastes.
Fantastic Negrito ... excellent night. The music was quality...why this band are playing in such small venues is beyond me 🤔

Not gonna lie, I was dreading coming here for the emo fest. After reading reviews online about awful toilets, terrible bar service and rude bouncers, I went in with low expectations and came out pleasantly surprised. The toilets were clean, the bar served cold cans of dark fruits, and the bouncers were super nice! The gender-neutral toilets were great and I appreciated the inclusivity. Though, I think the urinal might be contributing to a persistent smell near the entrance and sinks. Maybe swapping it out for an extra stall would offer more privacy and help reduce potential complaints. I'll stress again for anyone hesitant the stalls themselves were actually very clean.

Went to the bar once bought 3 drinks from 1 transaction I got given a ginger beer In a can 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 took it back said you give me a ginger beer lol I didn't get anymore drinks after that but some how there's 6 transactions on my banking up to £44 i pulled my phone out once in this place bought 1st lot drinks????? No way i went to this bar x6 definitely didnt pull my phone out so unless someones walking round with a machine in their pocket scanning phones from bags and pockets....nice 1 it must of been a ghosts i was buying for? As there was only x2 of us 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Some sort of scam going on here WOW 👌DIRTY
Sian C — Google review
This was the first time I've been to the Warehouse. It was for the Emo Fest, and it was great. Packed with people, but a great atmosphere. No hassles, no conflict, just a good vibe. The gig was great and the service was quick at the bar. The only slight negative was some of the door staff, who were a tad off, and take a very half hearted approach to the venues 'pat down policy'. Other than that, I had a great night.
Alex G — Google review
Not good if your a woman. Got chanted at by a group of men waiting for the unisex toilets to “Get out” and as we were leaving the cubicle the security guard was encouraging the behaviour against us and trying to make us go back downstairs. Be careful when you walk home from here too girls, we got followed by a man who was waiting outside obviously for young drunk girls. Not the venues fault of course but a word of warning.
Maisy — Google review
Please do something about you soundproof. Absolutely disgusting how loud it leaked out. Especially when you open almost every day and finished early in the morning. Im glad you are having fun. But we need some nightclub courtesey in place here. Also get more security or bouncer to control your guests please they are shouting in the street and wake everyone up.
Phakhwan P — Google review
Booked tickets for Fun Lovin’ Criminals. No draught beer, no wine. Warm cans for £4.50 each. Don’t take cash. Shocking for a city centre venue. Toilets are disgusting. Who is running this place? They need to get a grip.
David T — Google review
The sound manager cut the act off before they finished because someone was getting kick out, and didn’t let them finish off their set. Pretty poor, won’t be going back to the venue after that, disgraceful.

Comedy club
Bar
Nestled in a cozy basement, The HiFi Club is the perfect student-friendly spot for those seeking an alternative to the mainstream nightlife scene. This vibrant venue has become a beloved hub for music lovers, showcasing everything from indie and electronica to hip hop. With a rich history since its opening in 2001, it has hosted an impressive lineup of artists and DJs like SBTRKT and Gilles Peterson.
Been going here for comedy nights for a few years now and love it. Always a good evening. They seem to have messed around with times of shows a bit and they start quite early now. Maybe some food would be good to help the early evening. Though regardless as far as comedy is concerned this is a great place
Christopher H — Google review
The unleashed comedy night here is great, However the new chairs are downright painful! Even the old benches were more comfortable than these. Shame. Would like more non alcoholic options too.

A clothing store with an old and modern theme, it's a great place 😎 🔥 It's a mix between the past and the present

I came to see MALA a month ago. Wholesome all round. The crowd were great. Coming to Commodo next month. Would like to see Strategy do a set here In future <3
Jordan P — Google review
Had a really good night here watching some very funny comedy acts. The only downside is that the seating is very uncomfortable, and when the venue is full, trying to get to the bar or toilets is a challenge! I would definitely go again to see some great acts.
Tracey B — Google review
Me and my friends came for the comedy night last night, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We laughed pretty much the whole way through. The line up was great. The only downside for me were the benches (I understand why you use them and makes it easier) as it hurt my back and gave me a numb bum a couple of times 🙈 Prosecco bottle was £35 each which is about average now. Staff were friendly too. Thank you guys for a good giggle 😁
Samantha M — Google review
First visit to the HiFi club, really liked the venue a lot. Went to see standup comedy. Will definitely be going again. One point there is not enough seats for everyone so if you get there a bit late you may have to stand up for the show.

Nice venue for comedy club. I'd not been here before. Felt quite intimate. Easy to get to the bar between acts. Toilets very clean.

Event venue
Restaurant
Headrow House is a versatile venue located in the heart of Leeds, offering a beer hall, restaurant, and roof terrace. This former textile mill hosts regular arts and music events and boasts two roof terraces with scenic views of different parts of the city. The large Scandinavian-style beer hall serves over 60 different ales and beers, including Pilsner Urquell fresh beer from tanks - making it the first place in the North of England to do so.
When you walk past the front of this bar you would never believe what is inside, there were a couple of security people on the front door which is on the main road and then when you walk through you go up a few flights of stairs again extremely quiet and not knowing what to expect but you get to the top where the terrace bar is And again lovely views of the city we have plenty of seating area, perfect for a sunny day with its own terrace bar upstairs, atmosphere was brilliant
Toby H — Google review
Headrow House is a nice venue for Novel Notions, a community book swap, held quarterly at Headrow House. It's a simple and appealing concept: drop off some of your own books that are surplus to requirements, and get a token per book; then come back a bit later and exchange your tokens for a selection of the wide range of books (fiction and non-fiction) also dropped off by Leeds' bookish community. Search through forgotten classics, nab a new release or find a new favourite you never knew you just had to read! Novel Nations happens every few months, always on a Sunday; check out Novel Notions on social media, or the Headrow House website events page.

Great place for a summer rooftop beer in a nice day. Lively and mixed crowd all having fun and relaxing. I had not been this year yet but glad we climbed all the stairs. Good beer too 🍻

Absolutely sensational! Super drinks, atmosphere is amazing and the staff are fab, very polite and accommodating even on a Saturday night 11pm rush. Big thank you to Clint and Sioned for being such lovely bouncers - polite and kind even when you are slightly inebriated! A rarity in Leeds, so thank you guys. Amazing place, 10/10
Sophia P — Google review
Love this place, chilled vibes, good drink selection and off the beaten track
Jenn M — Google review
The bouncers are absolutely top class, I have so much love and respect for Clint and sinead, they made sure to save my twin brothers life by making sure he had fresh water and waited with him till his dad arrived I couldn’t ask for better bouncers than these two. Seriously they are one of a kind top notch people who deserve more than life could give.

Great place although it takes about 15-20mins to get your drink

Downstairs bar was shut when we came so cannot score that. Roof top bar was ok mid afternoon, mid week. Beer selection limited but what do you expect for a roof bar. We like it here even on an overcast day.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely awful night last night for Better Days! Extremely long queue for any bar or toilet. Venue had HUGELY oversold their tickets as there were 4 thousand people there when their maximum capacity is 2.5k. It was extremely dangerous, huge crowds and surges, people pushing and pulling EVERYWHERE. Mac and Cheese was on sale for £10 a pot and it was crap 🤮. How do you mess up mac and cheese?! And why was it £10 a pot when we already paid £16 for a ticket?!! Beaverworks only cares about money, they do not care about people having a good time. Better days was advertised as a safe, fun and exciting event that me and my friends were all looking forward to. Instead, it was an utter rip off, hugely packed venue with a 40 minute queue for the toilets! Once in the toilets you would be met with girls using the urinals which were overflowing… disgusting!! £6 for a small can of beer which was then knocked over as a result of the crowding! Absolutely awful, and I’m absolutely gutted. SHAME ON BEAVER WORKS AND BETTER DAYS, a report has been filed against you and an investigation will be taking place!!!
Anonymous S — Google review
Was invited by a events coordinator hosting a event at Beaver Works for Bouncy Castle Hire. Easy ramp to get in & out of the building. Great staff & management that kept everything easy regarding access set up & next day collection. Easy parking for our van for loading & unloading.
Premium H — Google review
Brilliant event space, I've been to many multi-room soundsystem events at Beaverworks and they're always great. Not too far from the station, I usually walk, which takes just 30 minutes. The place is well equipped with multiple bars, and plenty of space to skank out in each of the rooms to whichever DJ or Soundsystem happens to be playing. Overall a great place for events, long may it continue!
Mickey 4 — Google review
Very nice staff!👍 Leave a review and get a complimentary soda?! 🥤
Ethan L — Google review
Swift entry, great sound and set design, and plenty of rooms to keep you entertained. A solid number of bar staff meant no long waits for drinks, which always makes a night out smoother. No trouble at all—just an all-round great night out.
Tom R — Google review
Went for better days, toilets were vile and the venue oversold tickets. This meant people couldn’t get to the toilets, resulting in attendees urinating and throwing up within the venue, with no staff cleaning anything. The bathrooms were not cleaned once across the twelve hour event, and i’ve attached an image below of the state they were in. Gross. Alongside this, there was a dangerous crowd surges around the basement toilets early on in the event, with no barriers or security nearby to regulate the crowd. It was obvious that Beaverworks did not have the capacity for the event, and it’s lucky that nobody got hurt.

Distrikt, located in Leeds, has been a popular spot for 15 years, drawing in a lively crowd with its stylish bar and live DJ sets. The basement venue boasts a non-cheesy music selection played on an impressive sound system. The menu offers an extensive range of cocktails including Margs, Mojitos, and bespoke creations like the Apricot Cosmo and Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini.
Distrikt has never been better. Last night, the vibes were vibing, the music drew some wonderful people inside, but upstairs in the smoking area, was where the real magic happened. My nameless ‘Full Metal Jacket DJ’ was on his best behaviour and gave a night to remember. James the bartender was on top form, the ultimate face of customer service and gorgeousness. Thank you 🙂 (you need that DJ, we all do!

Good music, decent beers selection although a bit pricey and different cost for the same round every time we went back to the bar

The dress code doesn't include shorts for blokes in the winter, no nightclub should police people's self expression. A friend who got in described the smell as ' A dehydrated piss factory'.

I had a fantastic time! Daisy was absolutely brilliant, guiding us through the menu and making sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were spot on, especially the Hipflask Sloe-Ja, which packed great value for the price. The atmosphere was buzzing, and everything was spotless. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing vibe. Food was so good and atmosphere 10/10. Drinks were spectacular. I felt like I was in a science experiment 🧪. Gave 4 stars on the service because we got give chicken bao buns twice when we asked for plant based ones. Other than that definitely recommend!!

Me and my partner came here for a few drinks on our anniversary and had a phenomenal time! Many thanks to our server Connor he went above and beyond with providing us with the best and genuine customer service which made our experience so much greater. He answered our questions with confidence and such enthusiasm which made it a pleasure to speak to him!! The drinks were fab as well, he made sure to tell us what to do and what was and wasn’t edible in the drinks such as the French kiss. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant was spot on as well and beautiful views from the rooftop terrace.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at *The Alchemist Trinity*, and I must say, it was an experience worth remembering. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. **Food**: The food was simply fantastic! Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients that truly stood out. Whether you’re a fan of classic dishes or looking for something a bit more creative, the menu offers a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes. I was particularly impressed with the presentation of each course – it was clear the chefs take pride in their craft. **View**: What truly elevated the experience for me was the stunning view. The restaurant offers a fantastic vantage point, perfect for soaking in the surroundings while enjoying your meal. Whether you visit during the day or at night, the view adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. **Service**: The service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was just right. They made me feel welcome and comfortable, without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed ambiance of the evening. **Music & Atmosphere**: The background music was well-chosen, adding a vibrant yet laid-back feel to the restaurant. It wasn’t too loud, which allowed for easy conversation, yet it created a great mood throughout the night. The decor itself was modern yet cozy, with subtle touches that made the space feel special without being overwhelming. Overall, *The Alchemist Trinity* is a wonderful place to dine, whether you're looking for a casual evening out or celebrating a special occasion. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a captivating atmosphere makes it a spot I would highly recommend. It’s well worth the price, and I can’t wait to visit again!

Mine looked nothing like it did online, it was pretty disappointing,. . French Kiss was a lovely cocktail, although.. at no point did the bar man tell us that the tongue in it wasn’t edible!! Cue my partner swallowing it. Should probably notify guests of this. He’d had a few drinks previous to this and just presumed it was a sweet tongue covered in popping candy. We laughed when I asked and was told it wasn’t. His own fault. But a little dangerous nonetheless.

What an amazing place, had full disabled access and the staff are amazing!! Came here 2 nights in a row, 1 night for drinks and food and the next for the destination Bowie gig and what a night, the staff really do go above and beyond here!! Massive shout out to Alfie and John who made our visits that bit more special, Alfie deserves a raise what a genuinely lively human being!! Went here last night to see Rianne Downey, very cosy, very spacious, theres a room specially for the music, the toilets are very clean, then theres a restaurant too, as you can imagine the drinks are very expensive. There's a lot of music and comedy on here!

Had dinner here before seeing Cate Canning in the venue below and it was genuinely the best burger I’ve had! Cocktails were also brilliant. The venue was also super cute and had a great sound system. Nothing to complain about. Super convenient having a restaurant in the venue for those travelling as we didn’t have to find anywhere else so saved us a bunch of time rushing around too.

The gig tonight was good which was The Prodigy. I was shocked how short it was, like say the music was amazing but how can a venue think it’s on for 45 mins set to be done and literately band walked off straight into bar with no explanation so made most feel deflated. Like say band was good shame you didn’t play The Warrior Dance as that’s just one best songs going out there misses and I love it would of made our night even more special

Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen is a vibrant three-floor venue in Leeds' Northern Quarter, housed in a 1930s building that was once a nursery school. It offers live gigs, comedy shows, film screenings, and art exhibitions. The space includes fast food options, two bars, and a unique rooftop terrace with colorful picnic tables and lush plants providing shade and cool views of the surroundings.
Food awesome, top selection of food truck choices of pizza, wings and burgers. Lamb pizza off the charts. Often queues but good things come to those who wait. Great beer, good selection of seating options from beer keller style tables, to sofas to rooftop booths. Family friendly during the day. DJ appears to be in all days, good tunes so good vibes, laughter and chats for all. From IPA to cocktails so good drinks choices at reasonable prices. Gig venue upstairs, compact but perfectly formed. Been to both standing and seated gigs. Never had a sofa for a gig before. A revelation!

Enjoyable meals and excellent food. All worth it. Try something different. Price is good on the pockets too. The food is very good and good for family day out. The flavours are amazing. You have to try it and see for yourself. The price is also not bad. I would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant venue, not far from the A64 road from York. The venue itself has a large stage, awesome PA system with plenty of of big fat round bottom end. I attended the Boogaloo student night hosted by DJ Becky Webb. It was awesome. She kept the place rocking till 3 in the morning playing all sorts of classic tunes from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, creating a fabulous party atmosphere. Highly recommended and will attend again, very soon.

Attended the Rival Consoles gig here last week, and honestly surprised I haven't been here before. Venue was a good size, had an excellent quality sound system and staff were all friendly. Drinks prices seemed to be reasonable and downstairs area looked to be very busy and food smelled great!

Took my team here last night to celebrate a great year. The staff were incredible. The food was heavenly. The venue, exciting, fun and expertly managed. And the drinks were beautiful. We had such a good time. Thank you so much ❤️

I recommend this place! First time being there on Saturday to be a support act for someone's gig, the vibe was good🙌 the rooftop was amazing and the overall atmosphere was great!

The hamburger is excellent but the fries regular. Good selection of beers and they usually have good music and Djs.

Such a good bar, been coming here for years. Always have amazing artists on, a great platform for smaller-med performers. Sound system is one of the better ones in Leeds. Tad expensive but so are all bars! Thanks. Can choose between a loud environment or a nice quiet one to chill and have a chat. Terrace is lovely too.

O2 Academy Leeds, formerly known as the Town & Country Club, underwent a gothic refurbishment in 2008. It hosts a variety of events, from old bands reuniting to pay their mortgages to more current chart-topping acts like Clean Bandit and Sam Smith. The venue offers an energetic atmosphere for watching England games on the big screen with friends.
What a fabulous venue - Attended the Holy Holy Concert 16/05/25, with my husband I have a disability, I can’t walk too far, can’t stand for long and my articulation varies as a result of treatment for cancer - I was cared for by the accessibility team and to say they were amazing is an understatement So patient, understanding and organised, they enabled me to get the very best experience from the venue All the accessibility customers were escorted, via a lift in my case, to the first floor balcony and there we stayed and I was able to “dance” perched on a folded seat with one of the best views in the house Thank you so very much - we will return
Angela S — Google review
Mis-sold “standing” area — no view at all The “standing” area was a blocked-view pen behind a seated block. As soon as the “seated” section stood up, our view of the stage was completely obstructed. We spent the show looking at the backs of people and phone screens. There was no arrival info, stewards didn’t manage the area, and staff offered no relocation. This is not the experience advertised. We paid to see a live performance, not to listen from behind an obstruction. This feels mis-sold and poor value for money. The venue should either manage the seated section, cap numbers, label this as “restricted view”, or stop selling these tickets. Absolutely disappointing. We could’ve listened at home for free. Would not recommend this venue layout to anyone.

One of the best venues I have been to, from getting in (so well organised). To the view and atmosphere (Primal Scream). Definitely will be looking out for future gigs.

This is a great venue. Although, the frisking and bag checks may seem a bit OTT, but that's par for the course these days. So don't get offended! Downstairs it's standing room only. There's bars at the back and to the rear of the sides, incl. a merch shop. Upstairs it's banked seating. The seats aren't massive but I've sat in worse! I think drinks are expensive (anything more than £4.50 a pint is, to me), but probably on a par with similar venues. Shame they've removed the couple of sofas which were just off the left side of the standing area downstairs. These provided comfort for those whose legs needed a break from standing. Getting to a toilet isn't too bad, there's a few around the place. The cloakroom is £3 a pop, and I also trusted them with my camera; all were kept safe. I've been there quite a few times now and I quite like it. They pull in decent-sized bands. I've recently seen Pixies, Akt Tunstall, Inspiral Carpets, and the Pixies there. Awesome sound each time.

Went for bongos bingo which was amazing the staff on entrance where really friendly. However the price of drinks was ridiculously expensive. The cocktails not so much but for a tiny glass of vodka red bull I was charged £14!!! Not impressed on the drinks prices what so ever. Security staff inside very moody apart from the guy that takes you to stage when you won he was really friendly and helpful even escorted me out of the building with my prize.

Bought tickets to see James Marriott, parking was a bit of a nightmare but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the lady in the box office who helped me. The venue was good, managed to get a decent view even with taller people stood in front of me. Drinks were a little bit pricey in my opinion but could’ve been worse, had a great night overall!

Our first time visit to the O2 Academy Leeds proved to be a great experience. O2 Academies are great platforms for a wide range of theatre, production and music but especially for artists who are continuing to grow within the world of music entertainment. The O2 Academy Leeds has a capacity of 2300 people spread over the ground floor stalls to the upstairs balcony area. The seating on the balcony is typically unreserved and on a first come first served basis so if you want to be near the front…. Move fast!! The seating front on to the stage is tiered, where the side wings are more single bench style. We managed to get central front row seats on the balcony which gave great views of the stage. Our event at The O2 Academy was to see The Struts and Barns Courtney on their Grand Union Tour and this venue was a great place to see both bands. The venue is obviously not huge but it’s certainly big enough to have a crowd that generates a great atmosphere. Sound and lighting was good, plenty of bars and toilets around each floor level and all staff we encountered was really good. Located quite central to Leeds City Centre there is ample car parking nearby. We parked at The Light Q Park which was a circa 4 minute walk. All in all a great experience at The O2 Academy Leeds.

Live music venue
The Key Club, formerly known as The Basement and Subculture, has a rich history intertwined with iconic venues. It caters to a young crowd and hosts energetic live band performances, carrying on the legacy of the legendary Cockpit. Since 2014, it has served as a platform for alternative bands and is managed by the team behind Slam Dunk Festival. The club features live acts and club nights throughout the week, showcasing punk, rock, and indie guitar sounds.
A fantastic small independent music venue in the heart of the city. This is a great place for an intimate gig with a great sound and fantastic atmosphere. There is a great schedule and tickets and drinks are reasonably priced.

Came here on a recommendation from a doorman of another bar. The door staff here was also very friendly especially the lady working (didnt catch a name). This is a basement alternative night club with 2 rooms. Place was busy and one room has rock/pop rock music on and the other was more heavy metal. Both rooms had their own bar, and staff were quick at serving. Prices were good and shots were only £2.50 each, bargain!

The Key Club. 2nd best venue in Leeds for loud, live music. Cheap drinks, amazing music and proper sweaty in a good way 🤘🏼

As well as going multiple times and absolutely loving the atmosphere, music, and vibe, I recently played a gig here and I have to say the help with setting up and sound/lights was incredible. The staff were super friendly and clearly knew what they were doing, the gig was amazing and it couldn’t have been possible without them. 10/10 would definitely recommend to go for a night out or to play a gig.
Stuart P — Google review
Great club with a really smart setup. Two rooms with different music so there's always something to enjoy no matter your mood. Both had great DJs and a solid vibe. There’s space to sit down when you need a break, which can make the night more relaxed. Drinks were cheap and service was quick. Also appreciated that there were two bathrooms, Easy way in and out if you're going for a smoke, and the staff act quickly when there was a medical emergency. Overall a really good night out.

Been here so many times. It's the best alternative club in Leeds. Drinks are decently priced, music is great, the crowd are full of the nicest people. I feel very safe here, and always have a really good time. Recommend it to anybody who's had an emo phase. I know they have another entrance for wheelchair users (just ask bouncer). On weekends there are multiple couches for anybody who needs a break. They also have downstairs toilets since the main ones are up some steep stairs (you will need to ask if room 2 is not open.)
Mika B — Google review
Great venue with lovely, accommodating and kind staff. I’m autistic and going to new places is scary; I messaged them on Instagram to see if they could send me some pictures or a video or the inside of the venue so I knew what to expect when I got there. They were quick to response and kind enough to send me a video of the venue from the entrance right through the entire venue! Deffo recommend going here!
Softlyintothenight — Google review
Proper old-school sweaty underground bunker venue, just like gigs used to be back in the day! Saw Mustard Plug here (my first time at the venue) and once you've found the door it's down the narrow steps and you're basically straight in! Not very big - guessing 200 or so people - and, most importantly, the sound was really good, they obviously know what they're doing in that department. Lighting was a touch dull but I've seen much worse. Bar was the big letdown for me, only industrial beers so I didn't bother, surely it's not that hard to have a local craft beer on tap, there's hundreds of them! But that's the only thing I'd really pull them up on.

NOT a comfortable or safe experience for anyone Security are rude and aggressive Men are told to put side bags into the clock room but women are allowed their handbags- illogical, sexist, and nothing more than a cash grab ‘Anti-sportswear rule’- because nothing says a 10pm-4am event like jeans and a shirt. No logos allowed- I need you to be serious and question what kind of venue you’re trying to create Raves are supposed to be safe and welcoming- Mint Warehouse is the opposite It’s a discredit to the acts that perform and the people you impose these ridiculous rules on.

I came to see Danny bond and paid the tickets . I am an Asian lad and so is my friend. The bouncer said not today to us when we paid for this and did not provide a reason. We don’t drink alcohol or do drugs which is why most people were not allowed in. When I asked for a reason he said no. When I asked for a refund he started laughing and said put a complaint in. I feel like a victim of discrimination and I am really upset. Danny bond is one of my favourite DJs and I just wanted to see him live. I am really disappointed with this.

Door staff were great, drinks prices were fair, music was great, unfortunately it was far too busy and the toilets were by far the worst I've been in, even comparing to festivals. Floor upstairs was flooded, need to hose down my boots. Has got great potential but toilets and amount of tickets sold, just ridiculous 🥲

Banging Club, been here twice and the music system and lighting is out of this world. Awesome atmosphere, door staff are friendly and iv not seen any trouble on my visits here. Only downfall is i nearly broke my elbow as i slipped on some ice down the stairs

My first time to go to Mint and it was a great experience. The door staff were very friendly, some of the best I've ever experienced in 25 years plus clubbing. There was a relaxed easy vibe throughout the club, no idiots and no aggro. The music was banging, only thing I would say is it could be a bit louder. Drinks were priced sensibly. Overall a great experience, I would definitely go back again.

We came for the NYE event at mint warehouse. Bouncers were extremely rude upon arrival. Seemed really half arsed and unprofessional. You get inside and it’s flooded with groups of lads looking to cause trouble. You’re basically always looking over your shoulder. K head zombie charvas all over the place. You’ll get your man bag taken off you and put in the cloak room. But it’s completely fine girls wearing hand bags etc. The toilets are just another world. Could be such a better venue with the right staff and attitude. Such a shame… On a better note.. Sound system is insane. I’ve heard nothing like it. DJs all great. Danny bond especially, seems to have a good heart for the place! Happy new year!

This vegan restaurant is based in the old bus station of Leeds and plays on the theme heavily with its decor. It serves cheap and tasty food for a bite to eat, as well as craft beer and unique ales.
One of the best places in Leeds for vegan food, so hot and delicious, really well seasoned and wholesome! Best vegan burger and loaded fries, totally recommend!

Overall it’s not a wonderful place for music events. It’s very techno vibe which I like but may not be suited for everyone. Fortunately Rogue Puppet play quite frequently there which is alright and suit their purpose, since not many people go to their events which I don’t understand cos they have really cool techno artists as guests. Have no clue about the restaurant part, only went there for techno and was always a good time.
Francesco C — Google review
Unusual experience (quite long sorry!) - all the food is vegan, the place is quite big and we did not find the background music too loud as other reviews said it would be (we did go on a quiet night though). I ordered the 'Now then mush' burger and my friend had the 'Hellfire' burger. Her's was ok (not amazing but not bad either) mine was really bad, so bad I couldn't finish it. The sweet potato side salad I had with it was really good. I said something to the barman because I thought it must have been a mistake given the generally good reviews of the food I'd seen. The barman went back and forth between his manager and eventually suggested it must be just me that doesn't like it - not to my taste. I convinced him to try the burger patty and he spat it out into a napkin it was so bad. He took it back to the chef who realised it was an ingredient he had changed that day because he ran out of the normal stuff which had made it taste bad. They then offered us another free burger - we chose the 'Mac got Fat', we got a free milkshake (vanilla), a free beer and a free coke. I'm really glad they believed me in the end but I had to convince the barman to try my food. The manager never came over to speak to us which would have been better than sending the barman over at least 4 times before it could be resolved and I can only assume this was because the manager did not take our complaint seriously at first. The replacement burger was good and the vanilla milkshake is excellent. I would go back to try other things as this place is good value for money vegan food in the centre of Leeds. 2 mains for £12 at certain times is a really good deal. The bus station brew beer was 2 for £5 before a certain time and it's really nice. Can't justify giving them 5 stars because the original burger was so bad! (Although looks like this was due to a mistake but the chef should be trying the food if using something different as an ingredient!). I am definitely going back for a milkshake if nothing else!

Theaters
The Grand Theatre & Opera House Leeds is a stunning venue that showcases the best of performing arts in the city. Known for its classical architecture, this theatre serves as a home for Opera North's captivating productions and various touring shows. Visitors are often enchanted by its elegant design and rich history, making it a must-visit destination for culture enthusiasts. The theatre not only hosts operas but also features an array of performances throughout the year, ensuring there's always something exciting happening on stage.
I went to the theater on my own, which was incredibly hard. I lost my wife to cancer just 6 months ago, and this is the kind of show she would have absolutely adored. We always loved going to different shows together, and I made a promise to her—to keep doing the things we loved, to keep living for the both of us. I watched Kinky Boots which was an absolute triumph – a show that’s as bold and beautiful as it is moving and meaningful. From the moment the lights came up, I was completely captivated. The performances were phenomenal, the energy electric, and the story – oh, the story – struck right to the heart. As a member of the LGBTQ community, this show resonated with me on such a personal level. I cried – not just at the emotional depth of the narrative, but because I saw parts of my own journey, as well as those of friends reflected on stage. The struggle for acceptance, the sting of rejection, the courage it takes to be unapologetically yourself – it was all there, handled with such authenticity, grace, and heart. But what truly makes Kinky Boots so special is how it blends this deep emotional core with joy, humour, and hope. It’s laugh-out-loud funny at times, wonderfully cheeky, and endlessly heartwarming. It reminds you that love, understanding, and acceptance really can change the world – one step at a time, in a fabulous pair of heels. This wasn’t just a show – it was a celebration of identity, resilience, and community. A standing ovation doesn’t do it justice. If you have the chance to see it, do. It’s a powerful, affirming, and unforgettable experience. Sitting there alone was extremely painful, and I felt an overwhelming sadness when I arrived, missing my wife beside me so deeply. I cried quietly in the darkness, not just because of the show’s moving moments, but because she wasn’t there to share them. But somehow, through the laughter, the music, and the message of hope and acceptance, the show gently lifted my spirits. It reminded me that joy can still be found, even through the grief, and for that, I’m truly grateful. The cast of performers are fabulous! And the show made me miss going to drag shows with my sweet wife. We loved those! The theatre itself is lovely. It has a real sense of character. Its period features and traditional charm give it a warm, welcoming feel, and the architecture adds a touch of elegance to the whole experience. The kind of place that adds to the enjoyment of the evening without overshadowing the performance itself. Overall, a fantastic experience. I've even booked myself a ticket to the Sounds of 60s show! And yes, alone but I can do this!

Went to see La Boheme. Great Puccini opera. Performance was amazing, highly inclusive, and the vocals superb. Venue is great, grandiose chandelier, building a little worn, that's because it's well used, yet well maintained. We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The acts are very good for the money you pay, the staff are very helpful. The only things that are not very good are the seats are not the comfiest and the cafe is very small. We just go to the pub before. We go about 30 times a year and over the last year there are only 2 acts I wouldn't see again.

Beautiful old theatre. You could just spend your time looking at the amazing architecture. The only downside, is the squeaky old seating, that can cause distractions during quiet parts af a performance.

Lovely decor, we didn't book but it was very quiet when we arrived 1.30pm. Only two other tables occupied. No one came to great us or offered us a table, so we just seated ourselves. It was then a good 10 minutes until we were approached and our drink and food order were taken. A further 10 minutes for a coke to arrive, followed by a further long wait and then us to prompt for our water to be brought to us . We requested a highchair and one was provided, but unfortunately, it only had one of its straps which meant one of the parents had to sit with a hand on the chair to stop the baby sliping through. Starters came. They were piping hot and very, very tasty. Further long wait, to which we were starting to panic slightly as we had a train to catch but then the mains arrived. Well worth the wait as they were lovely. We had a couple of the lite bite steaks, great value and the steaks were cooked to perfection, well seasoned. The guy we spoke to as leaving was very friendly and lovely to talk to but unfortunately, the service was very poor considering how quiet it was. A shame because the food was very good.

Appalling is the best I can say ! Light bulbs not working a filthy toilet with chewing gum stuck to the tiles the upholstered seating was badly stained on more than one of the chairs and sofas. filthy carpets … we were sat down given menus and on ordering not seating were informed that only one of the steaks of the four were available (we wanted three T bones) the pate was off the menu completely (old menu) two of us wanted to order that … plaster on the ceiling was cracked and missing, in fact the whole place is worn and in places dirty … we paid for drinks only half drunk and left in disgust Marstons should be ashamed avoid if possible … oh and 20 minute wait to order drinks and 15 for them to arrive.

Unfortunately, the bartender’s service was subpar and left a negative impression. I had a very disappointing experience with one of your bartenders during my visit for conference in your hotel. They were rude and made insulting remarks in front of other guests, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. This kind of behavior is not what I expect from a professional in hospitality, and it affected the overall atmosphere of the night. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I believe respectful service should be a basic standard for any establishment.

I had lunch here and was somewhat disappointed. The food was OK at best but that is fine for a bar (scampi, fries and peas at £12.50). For drinks I had Amstel lager (at £5.75), I wanted Neck Oil IPA but they had sold out. It was very busy for 1pm on a Saturday but tables can be booked in advance. Despite it being busy the service was very good. The toilets are in the basement but there is a disabled on the ground floor. The big downside was the high volume music (low volume when we entered), it made conversation almost impossible. They are obviously trying to attract a younger crowd, I am fine with that. However if you are of a more mature generation this is probably not the place for you.

Unfortunately the food was a complete let down. I ordered the Hawaiian bowl there was no coconut rice or pineapple. The burger was dry and the chips had a funny smell to them. The larger came to the table warm and the cutlery was dirty. However the servers were really nice and apologetic.

Fantastic service and fantastic food. Our server Amy was an absolute gem - catered to every query and question we had especially with my diabetic needs. She made sure I had diet drinks all night, had regular check ins and was always on it with the food and drinks. Slug and Lettuce Leeds is a fantastic night out and have amazing staff who definitely made our night!

I would like to thank a member of your staff. We visited Friday 8th August around 19:00. Most of the tables were reserved. My sister in law is in a wheelchair. We were happy to stand with her near one of the side tables for two. One of your staff approached us and said a table for four was available if we would prefer. He then shower us to the table and removed one of the chairs to make space for the wheelchair. We were touched by his attention and thoughtfulness so I wanted to say thank you. Just sorry I didn’t take his name!

We did a bottomless brunch on a Saturday evening and it was well worth the money. Our server Grace was brilliant and made sure we were never without a drink and had everything we needed. Toilets were the only thing that let them down as there was water all over the floor and a poor worker was trying to wet vac it up for ages.

Whitelock's Ale House, the oldest pub in Leeds, has a rich history dating back to 1715 when it was known as The Turks Head. Acquired by the Whitelock family in the 1880s, this atmospheric establishment has been frequented by notable figures like the Duke of Kent and John Betjeman.
We were lucky, cause we had an amazing Sunday roast for dinner! (Yes, we were a bit late) The place and the food is amazing. It looks heavy but the truth is this meal is very comfortable food. I hope I will have a chance to come back soon.

Had a delicious Sunday roast at Leeds' oldest pub, first opened in 1715—over 310 years of history! The meat was tender, the roast potatoes were tasty (soaked in rich gravy), and the Yorkshire pudding was just right. A great spot for a proper traditional roast!
Angela M — Google review
One of the best roasts in Leeds. Always miss the lamb but managed to snag it this time and it was spot on. Yorkies and gravy always top, as well as the pints. Had a lovely cask oat stout on. Love this pub.

Used to visit here many years ago and pleased it's still the same. Had lunch here, very tasty food and helpful staff. Bowl of water provided for our dog before anything else! Will definitely be back again soon.

We visited Whitelocks shortly after opening time (11am) just for a couple of drinks so i can't comment on the food. My friend Steven strongly recommended the Guinness and i have to say it was the best we have had in Leeds. It was rich and creamy - fantastic! The pub is superb with a lovely old style and copper topped tables. It is a very relaxing environment and the staff were friendly.

In my research of puns to visit, this popped up on lots of lists since it is the oldest pub in Leeds! Was worried it was going to be more of a tourist trap but it was a lovely experience! Super friendly staff, delicious food and such a fun and historic interior!

The Dry Dock Leeds is a unique narrow pub located in Leeds, known for its distinctive setting inside a refurbished river barge. Since 1993, this unconventional establishment has been a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The pub's polished dark wood bar and stripped wood floor add to its charm, offering visitors an unforgettable experience. Despite being on land, the Dry Dock provides a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that has earned it recognition, including the Best Pub Design Award in 1995.
Very nice atmosphere. Went for a bottomless brunch with my partner. Food and drinks were top notch. I recommend it to anyone that wants to have a good time for a reasonable price 😉 Megan, Tom, Jamie, and Andy were amazing at making sure our drinks were flowing to our table all the time. I loved the experience and I will be definitely back here 😊😊 Huge thanks for fulfilling our special request, totally unexpected but you guys came through, 10/10!!!

Fun idea for a bar. Can order from table which is convenient, but they may forget drinks you've ordered. Food is of decent size- I would recommend the loaded fries. When we went, we caught the back end of the carabao cup final, so the crowd was in uproar. However, vibes were adequately maintained.

We were served by Megan and Ash who were friendly and polite, the drinks were great and plentiful, the food by Alfie was spot on and a really varied menu…. Thanks I have no doubt we will be returning…😃

Excellent brunch from start to finish thanks to Ash. Drinks service was quick and the food was really tasty. The atmosphere was quiet as we arrived at midday but picked up into the afternoon. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jamie (manager) who provided us with a free shot to celebrate my best friends birthday. Overall a brilliant choice for bottomless in Leeds. Thanks Ash, Jamie, Amy :)

Bar
MOJO is a vibrant rock 'n' roll-themed cocktail bar located on Merrion Street, popular among university students. The bar is known for its iconic slogan "music for the people" and offers an extensive playlist that appeals to music lovers. It hosts various events such as cocktail-making classes, beer tastings, and live band performances. Additionally, MOJO features gin tasting experiences in The Rhum Room with informative sessions on the history of gin.
Jimmy is a master bartender who looks after guests with pride and passion, he is highly knowledgeable on spirits and can make something to account for any taste or needs. The menu is a vast one with plenty of choice across broad flavours and profiles and all are adequately priced. Would highly recommend as a place to stop off for drinks in Leeds city centre... Also the music is banging and on point!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit. The food quality has dropped drastically compared to what it used to be. We ordered the Chinese platters (veg and prawns) along with noodles, and everything was a disaster. The dishes were far too salty, completely lacking in spice or flavour, and even after reordering the noodles, they were still bland and unsatisfying. We ended up leaving almost every dish on the table — such a waste, especially given how expensive the place is. As regular customers, we know how good the food used to be, which makes this experience even more frustrating. To make matters worse, I travelled from Huddersfield and my friend from Manchester just to eat here, only to be left furious and disappointed. Absolutely not worth the time, money, or effort.

Dart bar
Bar
Brunch restaurant
Flight Club Leeds is the city's first social darts experience bar, offering a unique and fun-filled atmosphere. The bar features an impressive selection of cocktails, adult slushies, and beers, including specialty drinks like the Mother of All Mules and toffee apple Old Fashioned. In addition to its fantastic drinks, Flight Club also offers a range of entertaining activities such as bowling, shuffleboard, crazy golf, beer pong, and escape games.
Love the decor of this place it's all decorated so well and is very cool. Have been a couple of times and the darts is great fun too, some different games to mix it up though I will say if there's just two of you you probably only need the hour rather than 90 minutes as you get through them quickly not being in a big group! Staff are friendly and it's just a good experience all round thank you :)

This is my 3rd time visiting Flight Club previously in London branches. The same vibe, service and just all round excellent experience. On this occasion visited for drinks and games with work friends which was really fun and enjoyable.

What a genius idea for a brunch! Booked this for a group of 6 girls one Saturday and every single one loved it! On arrival you are shown to your table where your pre ordered drinks are waiting for you. You could choose a bottle of prosecco or 4 bottled beers per person. Everyone had opted for Prosecco. They also had a jug of orange in case you wanted to make mimosas along with a jug of water and plenty of spare glasses. Very well thought out! This is also where your unlimited pizza is served, this is pretty decent pizza too (choice of 3)! You are given half an hour to sit and enjoy this and make a start on your drinks. Once your half hour is up, you are moved to your own area to start your games of darts. Your drinks and pizza are moved with you so you don't feel rushed one bit. You get half an hour to work your way through the various games of darts which were a lot of fun! Your final half hour, you are moved back to the bar area to finish your drinks which we seemed to have quite a lot left so stayed for way longer but ! nobody was being kicked out. It's really nice to go for a brunch where you're not just knocking drinks back to get your money's worth and bog standard food. This was such a refreshing change a fun activity in a relaxed atmosphere, well worth it's money! Can't wait to go back.
Courtney J — Google review
Absolutely brilliant time. If you are wanting a quirky fun evening with something a little different then this is a place to try. Doesn't matter if you are into darts or even good at darts, it's still loads of fun and the service is top notch. Called for table service and before I had everyone's order, I had table service asking me what we all wanted. Can't recommend this place enough. Great night for anything from friends getting together to starting your night's party off with great fun!!
David H — Google review
Great service and atmosphere at the flight club. Fun times, recommend a visit if you haven't been. Good for friends and family, popular as a work 'event'.
Clive F — Google review
We had a fantastic time for our work event. The staff were very friendly, helpful and thorough. They regularly checked if we needed more pizzas for our brunch (which was delicious, especially the 4 cheese one) and the amount of alcohol was perfect. We bought additional cocktails/shots, which were also fantastic. There was a member of staff at the bar, named Daisy, who was particularly noteworthy. She was super polite, friendly and accommodating of everything we asked. I lost the receipt that I could provide feedback about so I hope she sees this! My only less positive feedback was that I think 90 minutes would be a better length of time for playing darts. We didn't get time to have a go at all the games and we were all disappointed when the time was up. It went too quickly!
Megan E — Google review
We came midweek at lunchtime so created our own atmosphere! Fun darts with a variety of games to keep the interest going. Something for everyone even if you've never played before. Went here for the 1st time on Thursday for date night with my wife prior to a meal. The drinks were amazing and the barstaff were just brilliant. We sat at the bar as it was quite busy but we ended up staying at the bar seats for a couple of hours because the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They struck a truly perfect balance of chatting to us whilst at the same time giving us space to chat to each other. I couldn't recommend this place and this team enough. Thanks for a fantastic evening and experience fellas.

The drinks were nice and the service was ok. The music playing was loud which meant people also were having so speak loudly to hear each other, not making the most relaxed atmosphere. There were lots of fruit flies on the windows inside. The water on the table hadn’t been changed since the customers before us. Also it may be our fault but we couldn’t find how to book online, yet some tables were reserved.

North Bar is a cozy and unassuming gem nestled in the heart of Leeds, offering a wide array of libations to satisfy even the most discerning tastes. With over 20 years in business, it has become one of the city's go-to spots for craft beers, whiskeys, and cocktails. The bar boasts an impressive selection of over 50 whiskies, 10 gins, and 30 rums alongside hard-to-find beers.
I visited North Bar in New Briggate on Saturday (a lovely sunny day). The outside seating area was really busy with folks enjoying the summer. I sat inside and the bar and was impressed with the selection of beers they have on tap - 20 available on keg and 2 cask when I visited. I was warmly greeted by Beth, who was very knowledgeable about the beer on offer, and enjoyed chatting to her during my visit. Don’t miss their beer fridge, tucked away in the corner, for a takeaway treat.

Good selection of ales available though some seem quite pricey compared to comparable bars in Newcastle and the North East. Atmosphere was ok, but as it was a Friday night it was busy and difficult to judge. I'm told it would be much more to my taste at quieter times so will be happy to go again to assess this.

Roxy Ball Room Leeds Merrion Street is a vibrant and trendy venue in the heart of Leeds, offering a unique blend of leisure activities for young adults. The lively atmosphere is filled with upbeat music, making it the perfect place to challenge friends to games like ping pong, pool, and beer pong. This playground for adults also offers a range of drinks and food to enjoy while engaging in friendly competition.
This was a superb venue for entertainment, where we played on the crazy pool course! The incorporation of golf themes on the pool tables is innovative and particularly appreciated the holes where the balls had launch points to power up, one of these leads to the second half of a hole essentially which was a neat touch. One hole has multiple holes on the way to the one we need to score in which is a unique challenge, enjoyed a Coke here too!

I had a gluten free pepperoni pizza which was the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. The staff made every attempt to keep my food separate and therefore safe. We had a brilliant time playing pool. This is a little known venue above the amusement shop and opposite the Donna kebab shop, at the start of Call Lane (Leeds Market end). The entrance is via a door front and immediate stairs. There are different featured rooms and capacities. We were in the Highland room which holds around 50 - 100 people depending on sitting or standing. There's a PA system with a tablet you can sign into (Spotify or bring your own iPad or DJ). There's no disco light but a £30 disco light works well to create a small dance floor area. Table tops were available for food (we purchased or own from Costco). There's security on the door but did find a couple of strangers walking in, but they were were lost! (bring a bigger sign with you?) or they were trying for a free sandwich - either way, once challenged, they left without any issues or fuss!!! Staff were plenty-full and we (80 at its peak time) seldom queued for more than 5 mins. All staff and security were friendly and helpful both on the lead up to the day and on the night. There is no lift, but there is a great loading area or drop-off point outside. Taxis frequently pass. Our group easily exceeded the minimum spend. The drinks were average city centre prices, beers were available in bottles only (No draft - in the Highland room. Not sure about the others?) Give them a call to find out more, very accommodating :) give me a thumbs up if this info is useful or you like my pics and videos!

I've visited the Domino club a few times over the years. First time for probably 6/7 years recently and it's just as good as I remember! Incredible atmosphere and there's something really special about it being hidden away in the back of the barbershop. The cover charge is very reasonable for high quality live acts all night. We couldn't book a table for our chosen night, but on arrival we were offered one that happened to be available straight away. Incredible range of drinks available. If you like whiskey, you'll be spoilt for choice! Good alcohol free options available too if you're driving or simply don't want to drink. Whilst tables are down, table service is available. Between myself and my partner we enjoyed an espresso martini, southern hospitality, an old fashioned and an alcohol free mojito. All absolutely fantastic and well presented. Water on the tables was welcomed too! The best evening venue in Leeds in my opinion!

Popworld - Leeds is a modern space with vibrant decor and a DJ spinning tunes, offering creative cocktails. It's known for playing old-school classics from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. The venue is popular for its affordable drinks and entry prices as well as its unique cocktail menu. With an earlier opening time compared to other nightclubs in the city, it's a great spot for enjoying drinks on a nightclub crawl or ending the night with some fun.
Honestly, Popworld is my go-to for a fun night out, and a big reason is the amazing staff. Hollie always brings such a positive energy to the place. She's not only quick at serving but also makes everyone feel welcome. It's clear she loves her job, and it makes the whole atmosphere even better. If you're heading to Popworld, hope you get served by Hollie – she’s a gem!

Popworld is always a blast, but what really makes it special is the staff, especially Hollie! She's an absolute star behind the bar—always smiling, super-efficient, and makes the best drinks. Even when it's packed, she manages to keep the good vibes going. Hollie is a legend, and Popworld is lucky to have her!

On Saturday a party of 12 of us, couples. We're told we wasn't allowed in because one of our party had a stone island polo shirt on. We are all regulars at pop world and have been for years. The pathetic door staff turned us all away because just because of an item of clothing. We have all decided now to boycott this venue in future and will be advising our friends and family to do the same. Pop world could do with changing this pathetic policy on items of clothing ie stone island. And maybe change their pathetic doorstaff.

The Stone Roses Bar, situated on Briggate street in Leeds, is a popular late-night spot known for its indie music scene. The interior exudes 90s nostalgia with posters of iconic bands and unique decor like drums and cycles hanging over the dance floor. Named after the famous Manchester band, it hosts indie-themed nights on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The bar attracts both alternative crowds and those seeking a laid-back night out without the need to dress up.
had our first night out here on sat, weird guy slapped my mate's bum and pinched her. told the bouncer at the door not expecting much other than maybe to keep an eye for other girls. he asked me to point him out and simply kicked him out with no other questions asked of us! so refreshing to have this experience, thank you! also good indie tunes and decent priced drinks!

We have been to the stone roses bar in York loads of times and love it. We got excited when out in Leeds thinking it would be the same. It couldnt have been more different......Paid £5 each to get in, strong smell of sick on entry. Went to the bar because we had paid to go in so thought would get a drink and stand in furthest corner away from the door/ bar area to avoid the strong sick smell. Plastic cups! Didn't matter where we stood the smell of sick was everywhere. The people in there must have been nose blind of really drunk cos they didn't seem bothered. The whole place is smaller than my living room. It shouldn't be called stone roses bar cos it ruins the name of the of the pub in York by the same name. There wasnt even any memorabilia on the walls like there is in York. Very disappointed and won't be going back in. Gutted we wasted £10 cos we could have used that money to get some nice drinks somewhere else.

We saw the Stone Roses Bar by chance as we were passing and decided to check it out. It was a very quiet midweek afternoon. There was a decent choice of draught drinks, including a cask conditioned hand pulled real ale which was in excellent condition. The pub is more like a nightclub. It's very large with a balcony and extra seating. The walls are covered in murals of The Stone Roses and Oasis. The staff were friendly and there is a pool table. Looking at the reviews, it's more of a night-time bar with a DJ, and I think you have to pay to get in. It was a nice quiet place for a drink as there were only four other people in the bar.

The bouncer asked me who’s playing tonight? How could I know as this isn’t a concert. He is just being racist as I was asian and let everyone else inside without any questions. The other bouncer asked me where is ladies toilet inside? They just love to humiliate people for no reason.

Most disgusting experience at a club I've ever seen! An autistic woman was in the women's bathroom with the door open and unclothed and trying to get people's attention (it turned out she needed toilet roll but no one could hear her for a while over the music). A male bouncer was forcing the women's bathroom door open, looking inside at her and making her very upset and would not leave no matter how many times the rest of the women in there told him to, even when we tried forcing the door shut! He made a comment that it didn't matter because it was a bigger woman?! Absolutely disgusting human being and the incident ended with him bringing other men to force all the women out of the bathroom and the poor autistic woman who just wanted to use the bathroom was thrown out of the club! I loved this club before but will never go to such a disgusting environment again!

A group of people pushed in front of me and my friends in the line so I said why did you push in and the girl punched me in the face. I told the security guard he said you are all kicked out and walked off and ignored me. Eventually the manager came over to me and said the girl had been kicked out and then said are you coming in or not in a very rude tone I still had to pay to get in after the situation and they were very rude about the whole situation telling me to stop crying come in or don’t ! Wasn’t very nice.

Wharf Chambers is a hidden gem located in The Calls area of Leeds, near the River Aire. It's a unique venue that hosts a variety of music-based events, including live gigs from independent artists, DJ sets, live concert screenings, and mini raves. Operated by a workers co-operative, the venue offers an inclusive and equal environment for both staff and patrons.
Discovered this place by pure chance, and fell in love with it. It's friendly and welcoming to all people - all races, orientations, identities, everything. I think everyone can feel represented here. It's also a social hub for marginalized communities to organize, which I love. The place has an indoor bar, an outdoor seating area, and a small concert venue. I think the place is run like a member co-op or something, so drinks prices are also very very friendly. There's no food other than snacks like crisps, though. Just drinks and love :)

A bit of a dive...! Definitely an alternative venue if I'm being honest. Looks like its run by students. The place needs a good refurbishment to bring it up to a better standard. They do have a good selection of beers though so top marks for that.

Green Room is a popular spot in Leeds City Centre, known for its North Star coffee options and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar offers a laid-back atmosphere with industrial fittings and reclaimed furniture. It's located in a historic building near the newly renovated Majestic Building and Channel 4 HQ, making it an ideal place for daytime remote work with laptop-friendly spaces.
Visited here on many occasions. The service has always been excellent. The beers on tap are superb and the cocktails are fantastic. The food is wonderful and for a city centre bar, the prices are reasonable. On my last visit, a lad called Ben served me. He had a great attitude and couldn't do anything more to help. Lovely fella.

We visited Bastards Bistro on Sunday 5th October for a Sunday roast for a group of seven. We ordered seven roasts and didn’t mind waiting a bit, given the size of our group. However, around 20 minutes later, a single board of roast arrived with only four plates, leaving three of us without food or plates. We weren’t told that the board was meant to serve four people. In fact, based on the small portion size, we assumed it was for two. We waited quite a while for the rest, but nothing came. Eventually, we had to get up and ask at the bar, and a staff member came over to ask how many people were still waiting, which was surprising given that three of us clearly didn’t have food in front of us. She later explained there had been a mistake with how the order was entered, and that the remaining food would be out soon. When the second board finally arrived, we were told it was meant to serve three people, which was shocking, as the portion size was incredibly small considering the roast costs £20 per person (so £60 for the tiny board). As you can see in the photo I’ve attached, the board for three was tiny, missing parsnips (which were on the other board), and the beef and Yorkshire puddings were cold. To make matters worse, there was just one small, pathetic bowl of green vegetables supposedly meant for all seven of us to share, completely unacceptable for the price and number of people. There was no apology, no compensation, and no effort to make up for the situation. Overall, this was the worst Sunday roast we’ve ever had. Overpriced, cold food, and service that completely missed the mark. Would not recommend.

Booked for Sunday lunch at 3pm, arrived and stood just by the first tables, got ignored for 3 minutes by the same waitress so just headed to the bar, were told our name should be on some paper as we can sit ourselves then order at the bar (no issue). We looked but there was a small mix up so our name wasn’t anywhere so we waited for a table to clear and then the bar girl said we could sit. The so called manager was apparently the girl who original ignored us and refused to speak or sit to us, but instead communicated to us through the bar girl (very strange). We then waited 40 minutes it was for food (which isn’t too much of an issue) but noticed there was no link between kitchen and bar, and they seemed to not communicate at all, we had to ask for cutlery twice and you have to order everything at the bar (which is quite busy so takes a while). The food was okay, personally would expect more when they charge 20£ per person The service was trully atrocious and all the staff seemed unbothered and quite frankly hungover, apart from the lovely auburn haired girl that was behind the bar! (Shoutout to her)

Below Stairs is a hidden gem of a cocktail bar located beneath the streets of Leeds. Since its establishment in 2017, it has gained popularity for its warm and inviting atmosphere, offering an upscale experience without the high prices. The bar features a variety of carefully crafted cocktails with unique stories behind them, as well as classic cocktail options and craft beers. The venue's intentional design exudes sophistication with classic decor and antique furniture while maintaining a friendly and unpretentious vibe.
One of the best cocktail bars in Leeds with professional bartenders. They know how to make your cocktail perfectly. You will also get a complimentary drink at the beginning. My recommended options Amaretto Sour 🍹 Charlie Chaplin 🍷 The Douchess 🍸 Ban'oco Fruit 🥃

Visited this cocktail bar on a quiet Saturday afternoon when it was less than half full. Despite this, the front of house staff made us feel extremely unwelcome when we arrived with 2 extra people in our group. We were perfectly fine with being a bit cramped at our table, but the staff made it clear this wasn't acceptable in their eyes. There were several empty tables around us, which made the hostile reception even more puzzling and unnecessary. The uncomfortable atmosphere completely ruined what should have been a relaxing afternoon, and we ended up leaving after just one drink instead of staying for several as originally planned. Would not recommend this place if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere or any flexibility with your group. Plenty of other cocktail bars in Leeds that will actually appreciate your business.

We had a really lovely night here. We booked, as you're definitely not guaranteed a table if you just turn up. We were both alcohol free, and we were so impressed by how well we were catered for. We were offered a non-alcoholic welcome drink, then almost the whole menu had a really thoughtful and equally delicious alcohol-free alternative. What we loved as well was that whereas usually mocktails now are priced at a similar level to a boozy cocktail, these were less than half the price. Our server was really pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere was great.

Fun gay bar in the gay hood of Leeds. Large space with a great outdoor area. Small dance floor. Fun mixed crowd. Have to mention that on the weekend there were likely more straight people than gay people including the men. Be careful who you cruise as I got called out by a straight boy who didn't like me checking out his friend. In a gay bar! The shows here on the weekend were fantastic. So much more elaborate than the typical drag show. Lots of fun just beware the gay panic of the straight boys.

Quite disappointed this time. I’ve been here loads of times and had a cracking night out. This time I booked the VIP package for 4 through a 3rd party well in advance. We turned up at 7:30 and were let in and asked to stand in the side bar and wait. When a member of staff arrived they asked if were checking into the hotel! When informed what we’re here for we were greeted with a look of surprise and if you get yourself a drink at the bar we’re still setting things up. Ok. 2 drinks at the bar we were told they were running late. The show on the info we were given started at 8pm. 8:15 we were taken to the VIP area (too dark needs better lighting) bar person was really lovely and chatty and we had the area to ourselves. There was no meet and greet of the performers. Show was ok maybe I was expecting something more but we had trains to get home and so we had to leave early. I’m going with a lack of communication this time round but I booked well in advance so we should have been expected and times need to be updated. We could have turned up at 7pm and been waiting a long time.

I visited on Friday 25th July, and as expected was asked for ID for entry. I have epilepsy, so I'm not permitted to have a driving licence, so I use a citizencard for ID. This has never been an issue at any other club or bar - some places use an authenticator app but generally it has never been a problem. However, the staff at viaduct informed me that they do not accept citizen cards, ever. I understand that clubs are not legally required to accept citizen cards, but being epileptic already impacts my life negatively in so many ways so not being able to get into a club because you don't accept the only form of ID I can have is just the icing on the cake. Not having a driving licence is hardly convenient for me either. Your system is unnecessarily punishing, you could at least consider an authenticator app like the other clubs use.

Tucked away between two other bars, a narrow passageway leads you to a hidden gem, an intimate and dimly lit oasis in the heart of the city. Unlike other cocktail bars I've visited, every drink here was a masterpiece. For me, the measure of a bar's greatness is its ability to execute a simple drink to perfection. The Old Fashioned I ordered was spot on, a true classic. I asked for a custom drink based on my partner's preferences, and he absolutely nailed it. Quiet and cozy, it's the perfect hideaway, and the best part? It won't break the bank. In summary, if you seek a sanctuary in the city with impeccable drinks and a barman who can create magic, this is the place to be. Cheers to hidden treasures.

I've been to a lot of cocktails bars inside and outside the UK and I think this could be my favourite! ...or close second at least! Situated super close to the hotel I was staying in (Hampton). Great atmosphere. Super attentive and pleasant staff. Free cocktail and nibbles on arrival. Brave and interesting menu! They will adjust a cocktail for you of it isn't quite to your taste too ❤️ Just don't get yourself locked out when you visit the toilet! 😂 Only place I visited twice while I was in Leeds for the weekend! Will definitely return.

These bouncers were very homophobic and kicked my friend out for being “too drunk” when he was sober. We were only in the queue and it was a homophobic gesture. They should be sacked for only letting girls in and straight guys. Horrible people

Unsafe environment for girls. Rude bouncers. Someone stole my passport. Don’t come here if you want a good night
Skye D — Google review
Bouncer denied us entry after telling us we can only get in if we are students. He never asked the people prior if they were students or those who got in after us. We also bought tickets for space on Saturday and it is frustrating as it was not a student night, even after contacting the events team they said they don't do student nights on weekends, seems to be the same bouncer every Saturday who picks and chooses who to let inside and that is discrimination and unfair.
Dan H — Google review
I worked the VIP bar here until 2003, when it was one of the top venues in Leeds. Fast forward to 2024, I’m looking forward to a reunion, but unfortunately it’s students only on a Saturday night now according to the bouncers. What happened to the quality doormen, like Flash! Apparently, if you’re over 21, they don’t want you visiting at any time
Simon M — Google review
Steep entry price, was made to wait 15 mins even though there was no one in the club, yes we got cheap drinks £6 for a round but to say they were supposed to be double vodka lemonades it tasted like flat sparkling water, and the free shot tasted like fruit shoot. Definitely would not come again

I don’t like using the term racist lightly but it is blatant racism whether that be from the club management themselves or just the security guard. Me and my friend waited ages in the line I showed my student id and Id and got told to go to a different side and my friend didn’t even get to show student Id but got told to go to the other side both black individuals. We found that the side we got told to go to was because we were refused entry , when asked why no response was given and they were still letting WHITE individuals in. I watched to see if another group of black boys behind us were treated the same and they were refused entry for no reason aswell . So so disgusting for a club in leeds don’t bother going if you’re black also they let underage ppl in easily?? but you will be refused entry if black???

Bouncers are rude, aggressive, no consistent entry price, my entire group got charged different rates for entry and when questioned about it they kicked us out, some of the staff are really nice, but most are rude and condescending. They rate themselves a lot higher than they actually are... Paid for a ticket but got rejected out of all my friends apparently because I was wearing cargo pants, but I think it may be to do with ethnicity, as no other club, including much more high name clubs I've been to, have done the same. The only "good reviews" written about this place seem to be from event promoters and different types of people affiliated with the club. Trust those with a good name for review writing on Google. Avoid this place.
Sachin T — Google review
The guests are a bit chavvy. Smells mouldy in parts, understandable being under a bridge but still not great. It's still a very fun night, I'm not gonna lie. A bit silly serving drinks in plastic water-cooler cups. Reasonably priced drinks. Bar staff didn't really leave an impression but the bouncers were very funny and very professional.
Hamid J — Google review
Good club with a good atmosphere but way too expensive, £10 to get in £5 for a tiny vodka and coke (Single!). Save your money and go elsewhere if you must. Most bouncers are rude and prejudiced.
Tim H — Google review
My friend was turned out for reasons I fear are quite unsavoury. His bag was confiscated upon entry and he said that this was strange as it wasn't usual custom in his home city (and wasn't asked of the females in our group). The bouncer (a fairly old, bald white man) then said "I bet you think carrying a gun and a knife is usual as well". To say this to the only black man in our group I feel was quite a strange thing, but we ignored it and entered the club. However, our suspicions were confirmed when the bouncer then followed us into the club and without provocation, said to our friend that he would have to leave the club (naturally we all left with him and I discussed the matter with another bouncer- I got the impression that he knew this was an issue but was ignoring it so not to cause trouble). Overall a very disappointing experience having walked across the whole city only to be turned out due to what seemed to be solely the prejudice of a single bouncer who I feel has no place dealing with the general public. Would rate one star if possible.
Joshy P — Google review
I do not know what to write, I was surprised by the search through protection, even in my wallet, so I do not know why it's used, like the police. At first the atmosphere was unfriendly but later it was even cool. Only beer in plastic cups ... Such exaggeration at every step. And the toilets ... terrible. Worst place. No more.
Andrzej B — Google review
The bouncers at this club are vile human beings. They left a young girl alone on the side of the road frothing at the mouth unresponsive throwing up over herself. They shouted at myself and my friends for trying to help her and tried to convince us not to call an ambulance so as not to taint their reputation as it’s ‘not the clubs responsibility’. The bouncers proceeded to be rude to us and didn’t let me back inside after helping the poor girl into an ambulance an hour later. Disgusting. 10/10 would not recommend
Phoebe F — Google review
Not great drink menu. Bouncers were not great but the open use of drugs in the toilets and on the dance floor is not for me. Music was ok though

Manahatta Headingley is a vibrant New York-style bar and restaurant that offers an exciting dining experience in a trendy setting. With its colorful decor, it serves up delicious pizzas, burgers, and salads alongside enticing two-for-one cocktails available all day long. Whether you're enjoying a lively bottomless brunch featuring dishes like sweet chili chicken pizza or barbecue plant-based burgers, or simply unwinding with signature drinks such as the Cake By The Ocean or Orchard Apple Spritz, there's something for everyone.
Such a fun and vibey atmosphere for a Sunday pub quiz! Food was half priced so it was really worth it. Sticky wings were so good, we ordered another one. Pizza was huge and we were absolutely stuffed. Watermelon Baller (non-alcoholic) was really good and refreshing too. Had such a good time at this pub overall and the server was such a sweetheart.

Went here for a bottomless brunch with a friend on Saturday afternoon! The food was good and the service was amazing. Drinks on arrival and they kept flowing the entire time we were there. It's one drink at a time, but the waitresses are on the ball and are ready today take you next request in time for you to finish the drink you have in time for the next to arrive. It is just far too loud on a Saturday afternoon for a bottomless brunch, it was like a night club at 2 in the afternoon! I like a bit of music on while I'm out, but it was way too much! couldn't even hear each other. The area where the bottomless brunch was severed was closed off to the rest of the establishment, but about 30min before we finished it was opened up and just got incredibly busier and louder than it already was. It is also £5 more expensive on a Saturday. I would not return for a bottomless brunch again! it needs to be more closed off to the rest of the patron's completely.

First restaurant/bar review since before lockdown. Manahatta was really nice, food was great, drinks were made to a good taste. The staff were nice and everyone adhered to the new social distancing guidelines. Anyway, lovely place to eat, have drinks and hang out in Headingley!

We came for bottomless drinks (with meal included) on the nighttime. Sage, our server, was truly amazing. She was so welcoming and attentive and we could not have asked for a better server. Thank you so much, we had a truly amazing time and would definitely recommend. Food and drinks were lovely but Sage really made the experience! Thank you.

Upon entering this establishment I felt drawn by an unexplainable aura. I found myself taken towards the bar and lo and behold stefan. His positive energy radiated amongst the clientele. His smile was beautiful and enchanting - one could not help but to be enraptured by such an energy. I adore him with my whole being and wish him nothing but happiness and joy for as long as he lives

This is on the site of the old Arc pub. Its owned by the same group and also a second site from the one in Leeds. Two floors with ample seating and also food menus... however their pricing on drinks is very steep... over £15 for two doubles with soda. Just dont get it. Shame as it is one of the nicer settings.

Did bottomless brunch here yesterday, me and my friend was very impressed. Great service, lovely food and lovely staff! The two ladies who served us were excelled, due to lots of customers turning up and them being busier than expected, we got extra time on our brunch! One of the best brunches we’ve both ever done, will definitely be back again!

We had bottomless brunch here on 6th April 25. Sorry it's taken me so long but just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had. Great food and great service. There were 8 of us, the food and service were amazing, thank you Anne. Would definitely recommend.
Janet R — Google review
Amelia was amazing, came to the table and asked us if we wanted drinks before we asked! Amelia needs a pay rise, as bottomless brunches go dirty martini does not expect you to finish one drink before starting another, the food came quickly and was really nice.

We came for the bottomless brunch and Paige was our waitress, she was really good and managed to keep everything going with her and one other person on the bar on a Friday evening! The Turk's Head is a laid-back and inviting spot known for its variety of craft beers, classic cocktails, and casual pub food. As the sister bar to one of Leeds' oldest pubs, Whitelocks, it offers a more modern atmosphere with an array of craft ales, gins, and cocktails. The lively beer garden provides ample seating and canopies with heaters for year-round enjoyment.
I love the quirky alleyway at the Turks Head, having been previously only for drinks I decided to venture for Sunday lunch. It was £16.95 for roast pork, you get a decent portion (ask for apple sauce). Only downsize was the roasties were a bit soggy having been stuck underneath the huge (but tasty) Yorkshire pud. Will definitely be back to sample more tasty food though.
Matthew B — Google review
I've been here before and it was great, a little hide away with character and charm. I little bit more expensive than most places but great atmosphere. On this occasion the service i received was poor which was out of the ordinary. Slow and not very personalble, maybe I caught the bar staff in question on the wrong day.
Mike B — Google review
Very disappointed! We have been here many times before and you could see my husband’s last review was five stars, but how things have changed. We wanted to come back so I have tried to book by messaging twice but I have got no reply to either. More so I have rang twice and left voicemails, again I have never got a call back. If this is the way you treat returning customers then we’ll find somewhere else to go. How can turn down what would have been over a £100 booking is beyond me, but it’s your loss.
Lisa L — Google review
Fantastic all round. We asked for a nice table if possible with it being our anniversary and we got a great spot in the corner, which was appreciated. The staff were great, friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely excellent. Great experience and a fantastic choice of ales too! Thanks to all the staff, chefs and management.

So glad I called in on a quiet Monday evening to take this place in - truly amazing. Beers come in all measures you want including two cask options all poured by some fantastic bar staff.
Mark N — Google review
Whitelocks was heaving so we grabbed an outside table at the adjoining pub. Possibly Casta's first visit to this pub or it has had a total makeover. Pint of Five Points pale was fine. Another card only bar which I detest. Food looked good. Outside had electric bar heaters. Might be reflected in prices.
MADDOGLEP — Google review
A bit overrated. We came here as whitelocks was full and apparently they have the same menu. When we first walked in and up to the bar, the girl working took a solid minute to acknowledge our presence which we found awkward. This place is small (maybe 8 tables) and decorated more modern than whitelocks, so has none of the charm. It was full so we waited about 15 minutes for a table but were able to order a drink at the bar. There was no system for who was waiting for a table. Service was slow and it felt like she was avoiding eye contact with us. Food was waayy too big. The pie was ridiculously huge. It could of been half the size so we would have done better to just order that and share it. I felt bad wasting half of it. The chunky chips and seasonal veg were excellent. Overall I wouldn't recommend it or return.

The theater's calendar is packed with dance, theatre, comedy, and film events, catering to a wide audience.
Fab little theatre! We have seen a couple of kids theatre shows here and they've all been great. You can see from every seat, and the staff are all so lovely. We did one of the Christmas shows that's aimed at young kids and it was very relaxed and just a great show for the whole family. Plus, with it being a smaller theatre, we've never have to queue at the ladies loos which is a bonus!! Would highly recommend!

Lovely theatre - we were so lucky to get front row seats for Chess! The musical- thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from the friendly, helpful staff, to the roomy seats and the very talented team who put on a great production (I saw the closing performance in the Original West End Theatre) and saw it on tour a few years ago. The three leads were super and the supporting cast were great too. Our first visit (we live 50 miles away) but will be back!

Lovely little theatre that I often support. Only downside is seats are so uncomfortable after about half hour. They’ve previously impacted my enjoyment of show. Now I get around that by always taking a portable cushion with me, makes a massive difference, problem solved.

I was there for filming an open-air cinema event, and it was great fun! Located in the middle of the city, just a few minutes from the train station, with the museum and gallery within a short walking distance, as well as plenty of restaurants. They host events regularly.

The Nelson Mandela Garden infront of the City Hall is a beautiful, tranquil spot in the city centre to just stop, breathe and rebalance. There are benches around the sides to sit and whilst I was there I was joined by a wren and other small birds enjoying the garden. A welcome break in the middle of a hectic day.

80s classical for the 6th year. Always get seats and like that if anyone stands they are moved to the side so not to block seated attendees. Nice venue, pleasant staff. Drinks expensive but what's new

A neat area suitable for taking a walk and having a photoshoot. A lot of tourist attractions are also nearby. Right beside it is a museum you can visit. Would have been better if more people attended and more vendors. Toilets a clean and accessible. Hyde Park Picture House is a small cinema located in a vibrant student area, offering an array of arthouse and cult films. As one of the oldest cinemas in the country, it holds the distinction of being the world's only surviving gas-lit cinema. Since its opening in 1914, it has been a beloved community cinema, evolving from silent movies to contemporary independent and arthouse films.
A well refurbished old cinema. Self guided tour is worthy. Sometimes independent movies. Worthy take a look and long term support. There is a cafe in the picture house. Or there are food nearby, such as Greek , Korean and Indian, which are open from noon- 11pm, good to have food before or after the movies. Good price for students to watch movie.
Daniel S — Google review
This is a beautifully refurbished picture house. Well worth a visit . During September (Leeds Heritage Open Days) the picture house is having a heritage trail around this iconic building. It even has gas lighting in the screening room.
Kathryn R — Google review
Wasn’t planning to stop. Just a casual stroll, the kind where your thoughts wander more than your feet. But then saw it, tucked between a vintage hotel lookalike and a sleepy café, this small cinema house caught my eye like a flicker of something familiar yet unknown. I didn’t know its name, its history, or what films it played. But was drawn in. Instinctively. There’s a kind of magic in places like this. The kind of place that doesn’t beg for attention but earns it quietly, with charm and soul. I stepped inside, not for a film, but just to feel it. It felt like stepping into someone’s memory, warm, nostalgic, alive. You don’t need to know the schedule or the directors featured. You just know you’re somewhere that matters. Some culture isn’t curated, it’s lived. You feel it in your bones. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in, maybe catch a film you’ve never heard of, maybe talk to someone who’s been coming here for decades. Glad I passed by. Even more glad I paused. Because in that pause, I found a piece of the city’s soul. I’ll be back, not just to watch, but to belong.
M C — Google review
I really wanted to support our local theatre because they do an amazing job showing independent movies. My wife and I planned a nice day out, but unfortunately the experience was pretty disappointing. When we arrived, it was busy, so we waited at the bar. There were three people serving, and Katherine helped us at the till. The popcorn display showed small, medium, and large options, so we asked for a large — but were told, “You can’t have a large one.” It felt really awkward, so we just said okay and went with a medium instead. Then I asked for a non-alcoholic beer from the menu, but was told I couldn’t have that one and was offered a different drink instead. When I asked if they didn’t have the one listed, Katherine said no. I said I’d leave it, and got a sharp “SO YOU DON’T WANT ONE?!” in response — which came across quite rude. It also seemed like she was really friendly with people she knew, greeting them warmly and directing them to their screens, but we were just told to wait off to the side. Our drinks were left on the counter with no communication, and we weren’t even sure if they were ours. We also had to ask for part of our order that was missed because the staff were busy chatting. To be fair, one of the other staff members later was lovely and helped us find our screen. But overall, the experience felt unwelcoming and a bit dismissive, which was really disappointing because we genuinely want to support this local cinema. Hopefully it was just an off day, but it really put a damper on what should’ve been a fun visit.
Rehan R — Google review
Hyde Park Picture House is a jewel in Leeds' crown. It has been sensitively restored and has gas lighting! The main auditorium is splendid but I went to the smaller screen in the basement. It is very comfortable and the experience of watching a film there was great 😃.

Lesley C — Google review
From the outside, this cinema has a wow factor as the original facade is well preserved. The interior keeps all the best original features but is roomy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the screening of Harry Hills The Last Caveman. The 56 bus from the centre of town stops outside the cinema. Parking would have been a challenge I think.
