The Milk Churn in Leeds is a popular ice cream parlor located on a working farm. They produce their gelato fresh from the milk and cream of their own cows, offering a wide variety of flavors that change regularly. The staff are known for being helpful and accommodating, allowing customers to sample different flavors before making a decision. In addition to the delicious gelato, there is also a cafe and children's play area on site, all set in a picturesque open setting.
Delicious ice-cream! Lots of flavours to choose from and service was quick and friendly. Really nice outdoor area to enjoy it in during the summer months and plenty of parking too!
Josephine O — Google review
Decent little cafe, the gelato was definitely the highlight. Wide variety of flavours, ( matcha and pecan maple were the best imao) . Lunch was decent and had great portions. Servers and staff were friendly. The only thing I had to point out was that the fork I was served had a large chunk of dried potato on which was kinda gross. ( this explains the 4* food hygiene rating) overall will be revisiting .

The Milk Churn Leeds - Delicious Ice Cream! Just had to write a review after my visit to The Milk Churn in Leeds today (13th May). I heard great things from friends and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The Ice Cream/ Gelato: 5/5 stars. Absolutely delicious! I went for the Ricotta and Fig flavor and it was incredible. So creamy and flavorful. We only had ice cream this time, but next time I'll definitely try some of their other offerings. Service: 4/5 stars. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Just a heads up from my visit, though - you get a bigger portion if you don't get served by the owner! and for the price i expect bigger. Atmosphere: 4/5 stars. The cafe itself is nice and cozy. They have a nice outdoor seating area that looked perfect for a sunny day. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at The Milk Churn. easy parking, Super delicious ice cream and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and explore the rest of the menu. Especially since it's so close to home!

I love ice cream, and when I say I love ice cream, I've been lucky enough to try it all over the world including Italy. Let me tell you, if I could give this ice cream 7 stars I would, this is in the top 2 ice creams I've ever eaten. The texture, the flavour and the options regarding the way it is served are amazing. Great work Milk Churn, awesome!!
Gav B — Google review
First the gelato is delicious. So intense and incredible flavors. I had chocolate, ricotta and fig, and cookies and cream. The servers Shauna and Callagan were wonderful and explained the farm and the business. They are opened in winter 11 to 4p. I wish later for dessert expect you can take it to go earlier for your freezer! We enjoyed the ice cream and took a scone and brownie to go!
Barbara W — Google review
Great place to chill , meet, let kids play indoors and out, enjoy nature! Sit comfortably in or out, great ice cream and milk shakes ( as you'd hope at milk churn lol). The afternoon tea is great, food and value. Just good for a quick stop off even, for a nice scone and cuppa.. my little reward driving back from Seacroft hosp. My little nieces, love it too, nice environment, they always make nice new friends. Perfect to enjoy on a sunny day, and relax. Enjoy! X
Dr. M — Google review
We have been coming to the milk churn for years now. Both my daughter and I are coeliac. Every time we come in we explain and the staff are usually very accommodating getting a new clean scoop and clean water etc. so the staff must have had some kind of allergen training This time when we visited on Saturday, half way down the tub of ice cream there was several chunks of ice cream cone mixed in with the ice cream, but I didn't notice until I was chewing on it. 5 days later I'm still incredibly ill. We won't be returning. It is a very easy avoidable cross contamination. Please teach your staff better as coeliac disease is a very nasty auto immune disease

Lovely Ice Cream in a lovely setting. Great choice of flavours. Plenty of seating indoors and out.

Amorino Gelato in Leeds is a popular spot known for its authentic Italian gelato served in the shape of a flower and presented in a chocolate cone. Located in the upscale Victoria district, this beautiful kiosk offers a variety of flavors including Banana del Brasile and Dulce de Leche, as well as more traditional choices. Visitors can also add macarons to their gelato experience.
My first time having this gelato. We bought three regular cones. My daughter has a nut allergy, so she went for the mint and vanilla. The server Tom cleaned the whole area up and spoons etc to prevent cross contamination before making my daughter's cone. Thank you so much, I really appreciated it. Will definitely be back to try the hot chocolate and waffles. Excellent customer service
Yasmin P — Google review
Went to Amorino for the first time today and tried the vegan shakes, they were delicious we had a lemon and mango and the other was a lemon and strawberry. They are super thick too, can't wait to go back and try the other flavours!
Alice H — Google review
Got a small cone and was able to choose 5 flavours, very good value! The portion was generous and every flavour was delicious. You can also request to try them before making decisions on which one to get. Great mix of options, from classics to more seasonal and unique ones. Perfect treat!

This is a must visit ice cream shop in Leeds. Every kind of ice cream is delicious. Creamy ice cream, Tasty sorbet. I like the lemon sorbet that gives you a freshly sour taste. Price are valuable. But always have to wait in a long queue 😅
Banny S — Google review
Hello I would to let you know Today I’m order ice cream, chocolate and caramel. I wanted to let you know and to please check the camera in the shop. When one of your staff was scooping the ice cream into the cone he kept talking, for example “I can’t do it” and “it looks so bad” and he kept doing it. He asked his coworker what he should do and he kept talking and as he spoke he was inadvertently spitting into the ice cream because the ice cream was under his month and he kept talking. Darling 3-4 min for waiting a lot of spitting in the ice cream ,I paid for the ice cream and took it but I binned it. Thank you
Fern L — Google review
I got an ice cream but not a Gelato, the texture and the tase was far away from being a gelato. It was too hard sugary and leans tobe and an ice cream due to the diminished flavours and hard texture Nice staff
Nossor B — Google review
2 staff members, 1 new who was nice and did a good job of making the rose shape, despite being new. The other was quite unfriendly & unhelpful, she didn't explain how things worked at all. It's such a bizarre concept - you have to choose what size/type of ice cream you want & pay first, THEN you take your printed ticket to prove payment & choose your flavours. We weren't told we could pick as many as we liked. I chose coconut & mango - the coconut was super grainy - sure that's natural but it can be smoothed out. It was a warm day but the whole thing was melting the second I was given it. And you're only allowed to try flavours AFTER purchasing - so silly. Buy before you try, rather than try before you buy. Not worth it for £6.

Heavenly Desserts in Leeds is an upscale dessert cafe located in Headingley Central. Established in 2008, it has become a trendsetter in the luxury desserts market. I went yesterday adnan and his colleague served us It was very nice experience And that place was so clean also love the ambiance.. I highly recommend this place for a dessert
Apeksha V — Google review
Great experience at Heavenly Desserts today! The service was excellent and made the visit even more enjoyable. Will definitely come back! 🍰✨
Megha G — Google review
I had high expectations for Heavenly Desserts but was extremely disappointed. Our group of eight was crammed into a booth meant for six, making it uncomfortable from the start. The service was disorganized—our orders were mixed up and served at completely different times, so we couldn’t enjoy our desserts together. Despite asking six times, we never received proper cutlery and had to eat with spoons. Our server, Sania, made the experience even worse with her poor attitude and lack of customer service. She seemed disinterested, rushed through serving us, and barely acknowledged our requests. When we asked about our drinks multiple times, only one person received theirs, while the rest never arrived—even after a 30-minute wait. Meanwhile, other tables were served promptly and correctly, making our experience feel even more frustrating. Overall, the poor service, dismissive attitude, and uncomfortable seating completely ruined our visit. This was not the experience we were hoping for, especially after hearing such great reviews. Management seriously needs to address these service issues.
Fahmeedah B — Google review
Good food but not so good service. Waiter seems very sad and did not want to work i believe. Have tried in Manchester and Edimburgh as well. Taste is close enough.
Ahmad A — Google review
First time coming to this shop and wow! It was beautiful, the desserts were top notch and Roshan made us feel very welcomed. Definitely coming back again!
Obri G — Google review
Delicious desserts with a great variety of options. Lovely ambiance. Roshan was an excellent host. Highly recommend it and will definitely visit again.
James C — Google review
This was actually my second visit, and the quality of the waffles was perfect both times. The first time I visited in February with a friend, the service was good. On my most recent visit on 15/06/2024, there were four of us. The service was great, the premises were clean, and the vegan waffles were excellent, the quality of the fruit used was good too. The staff were very polite and patient. I highly recommend this place if you are vegan or a family. They have a large selection of mocktail, and non alcoholic drinks, which I appreciate as someone who doesn’t drink.
Lady D — Google review
I had an amazing time when I came to this restaurant. The staff the food 10:10. I would definitely recommend it. I hold Roshan responsible for such a positive experience due to his amazing customer service and positive interactions throughout. He deserves a raise well that's actually really nice

Ecco Pizzeria is a charming eatery with a relaxed atmosphere and wooden floors. It specializes in authentic Neapolitan Pizza, prepared in a wood-fired oven using imported Italian ingredients. The menu includes various pizza options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices. One of their unique offerings is the Marrakesh pizza with slow-cooked Moroccan spiced lamb.
The best pizza, and somehow even better people? This is the only place in Leeds to go and get your pizza and Italian cuisine fix! Head and shoulders above anyone else, and they go above beyond everyone else with the care and attention they have! They make each dish with true love and care, which they also show in how they are with customers and the world. Fully recommend the Palestine Pizza, it supports the most important cause of this generation and tastes too good 🤤🇵🇸 Fully recommend this place to anyone and everyone, if you’re in Leeds, GET TO ECCO ASAP!
Jordan M — Google review
Had the Caprese pizza, which was lovely, and the mint choc chip gelato which was even better! They’re doing great work raising money and awareness for important causes. They are openly and vocally in support of Palestine - which is a reason to go here all on its own.
Charli O — Google review
Last night's meal at ECCO Pizzeria was amazing (as usual). All the food is halal-friendly, and we have been regular customers for quite a few years now. The food NEVER disappoints. The service is also efficient and prompt via the chefs and waiters/waitresses. Tonight we ordered a few starters each, and of course the half/half half-metre pizza which always goes down well. I would strongly recommend people to visit anytime you are around the Headingley area ❤️❤️
Khalid — Google review
I was looking for a halal place to eat in Leeds, as I was visiting the Headingly area. This place came up, and I tried it out. I've been back again recently and it was as good as the first time. We ordered chicken tenders which were some of the best I've had, served with a punchy sauce. The garlic bread with cheese was delectable. The pizza was made within minutes in the wood fired oven and was delicious. The crust and dough overall were authentic and reminded me of the pizza I've had in Italy. They serve home made gelato and the service is very good. Parking is a touch difficult, but the options and overall taste are brilliant. Highly recommended.
Qasim H — Google review
Its perfectly fine Neapolitan Pizza, if that that's your bag. Cooked on a proper wood fired oven. Base ever so slightly thicker than other places, which isn't a bad thing. Knocked a star off for the beef pepperoni masquerading as proper pepperoni, at least state it in the menu and give us a chance. The ice cream was 👌🏼
Rob — Google review
Even better than Italy Best pizza ever I like my base well done ask the chef to do it that way Wow Amazing would not eat pizza any where else oh & the garlic bread with cheese wow
Prestige C — Google review
Visited as a family of 3 this evening. The service was fantastic-the waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The food came out quickly and was super tasty. The food was good value for money, especially considering the large portions. We all LOVED the chicken tenders; they were perfectly cooked and very very tasty. My husband ordered a Bombay Pizza with less cheese and the chef followed the instructions to make a great pizza. The mushroom tagliatelle was superb (very rich so I’ve managed to save a portion for lunch tomorrow too), and my 6 year old’s kids meal was excellent too. Not a slice was left! The mango sorbet was amazing, so fresh and the perfect end to the meal. Would highly recommend Ecco Pizzaria.

Went here for some desserts after a meal out with friends and family. There is plenty of seating available inside with no ques and service was quick and attentive. All the food ordered was serviced quickly and the food was good particular the waffles were great. The Creps were a bit soggy rather being crispy. Other negative points were that we still had to order at the Till, despite being a covid requirement and the table was not cleaned prior to us being sat down and the glasses they gave for water was dirty. overall decent food but the venue and facilities needed brushing up
Pavan M — Google review
Lovely staff. Very friendly and professional. Portion sizes were really good and reasonably priced. I loved the bookshelf decor on the wall and generally the whole vibe. Thanks guys
Twinkleberry S — Google review
The food was standard what you would expect nothing special at all it like minuim £10 for any desert which isn't . Service was ok they seemed friendly people....the people in the desert place not to much as if they were animals how they were behaving...I'm not sure what the area is like but didn't seem good to me.

Best desert place I've been to, beautifully designed, loved the homely touch the bookshelves added to the very classy look of the rest of the place, prices were brilliant for the very generously portioned desserts (chose 2 of the first page brownie creations) which were both delicious, could've easily shared one between us, staff were friendly and delightful, overall a truly exceptional experience, highly recommend

Decor and vibe is nice! Nice seatings with relaxing ambiance. It’s a shame the desserts were terrible! Cookie dough wasn’t baked properly and tasted bitter probably because of the sauce. Had Desi tea which tasted sour like the milk had gone off

I ordered onion rings and chicken wings for collection and when I arrived to collect the staff was rude especially one man. The chicken wings were raw and not cooked. Only good experience about my late night snacks I ordered was the free chocolate cake I got as I spent more then £10
LUCY S — Google review
Shocking service tonight! I ordered two waffles and a milkshake and drove six miles home only to find they had given me one waffle and an EMPTY BOX! I called the shop, only to be told that the boss was away and they couldn’t issue a refund. Instead, they offered me free items, so I had to drive another six miles back. When I arrived, I was left waiting while staff tripped over each other, struggling to manage orders and still received nothing just £7 after been stern. They clearly prioritise online orders but can’t keep up with them, leading to serious service issues. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one with a bad experience. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be contacting Trading Standards about this unacceptable service.

I m very disappointed wid my order, was ordered as a surprise for my bday and turns out banana slice had a hair strand in it. 🥺, please take care of cleanliness. Small mistake can ruin someone's special day.
Àarthña ! — Google review
Absolutely disgraceful service. The staff were extremely disrespectful and discriminatory to an african family who had brought their 3 year old in with some other chikdren for ice cream. As children do they were excited waiting for their desert. To my absolute fear and disgust the staff member then proceeded to attempt to film the child on their personal phone without consent to which the parents challenged, as legally you cannot film any child without consent. Then a rude obnoxious young eomsn who claimed to be a manager but clearly has not been educated in management threatened the mother who politely challenged with the police .My recommendation is for anyone with any self respect and dignity to nit eat at this overpriced backstreet cash and carry where staff don't wash their hands and touch your food and attempt to film innocent children without consent or warning. I have reported this pathetic place for gdpr breach .The only reason they have 1 star is because you have to at least put 1 to review otherwise my real score for them is ZERO do not waste your money here !

Food only looks good and has no taste. I ordered “Molten chocolate lava cake” and it did not even had the taste of chocolate. The service was bad and the employees are rude. I do not recommend this place.

Was disappointed with our last order two or three weeks ago as the Mango and Passion fruit milkshake wasn't as good! The apple pie was good but not a lot of custard! It's disappointing as it's always been five stars until now! I have Had takeaways from here more than a few times times. The Mango and Passion fruit Gelato Shake was amazing! The strawberry milkshake yummy. The French Vanilla milkshake really good. Most of the milkshakes are great not tried all!

Awful customer service- had a missing item on delivery order, called them and incredibly rude woman spoke over me, said she sent a totally different item to that which we ordered, but we didn’t get that either. Just so rude, no apology or human response. She tried to blame it on their own menu description but that is their problem. Awful.

Atmosphere seems great in person which is what intrigued me to order. However, the food arrived 15 minutes after my time slot not to mention the fact they had said it was delivered already when the guy wasnt even on my street. The cookie dough was burnt, the ice cream tasted weird and the milkshake kept seperating into different layers even though it was supposedly fresh. My partner said that the sauce on the wings wasnt even sauce and it tasted weird, the burger was completely dry but the bread soggy due to the amount of sauce on it. As well as this, the lettuce tasted off and the chips were barely cooked and bland even when using the mayo.

Berry's has quickly become one of our favourite local pizza takeaways. It's a shame they no longer deliver to Pool but I'll happily still drive to collect. Food is always great and ready on time. We tried their deserts for the first time last week and they didn't disappoint either.

In addition to their permanent flavors of matcha and kinako, they also offer seasonal variations like cherry blossom and black sesame. Customers can enjoy their soft serve in cones or tubs, as well as indulgent sundaes topped with tapioca pearls, sesame seeds, and wafers.
Amazing matcha sundaes! These were delicious, my go to dessert spot in Leeds. They also have a loyalty scheme where if you collect 8 stamps you get a free item.

We absolutely love the vibe at this place! The Strawberry Cheese Foam is a 10, so good! We will definitely be returning for it. I believe we got the Matcha Jelly Parfait, which we would rate 8 out of 10. Wasn’t very happy with the ice cream flavor, and I think they definitely need to offer more options. Otherwise the place is amazing!

Huge matcha fan, so this was our first stop when we got to Leeds. The ice cream didn’t disappoint at all! Just wish the shop vibes matched Japan’s super clean standards. Would be nice if staff came out to clean the tables after people leave.

One of the best Matcha’s in Leeds . Been visiting a few years, absolutely love the ice cream . Only downfall is the store needs to be cleaned a bit better , after customers leave ensuring tables are cleaned ready for the next .

As a daily matcha drinker for more than ten years, I can safely say these guys are wonderful. Food and drinks are on the expensive side (definitely a treat), but servings of matcha are generous and high quality. Great range to choose from and friendly staff. Can get busy at times, so try to avoid the busiest hours.

Got one of their mochi sundaes. Didn’t taste much matcha and mochis were soft which paired well with the dessert but I just didn’t enjoy it (personal preference). Store and staff are nice. Quite pricey which is why I would not return

We ordered Houjicha Bubble Tea w/ Coconut Milk and Strawberry Frappe w/ Cheese. Loved the Houjicha, very different and unique as it was our first time. Strawberry Frappe felt like fresh strawberry milkshake blended with ice but loved the cheese. I ordered because I saw so many reviews of it. Next time gonna order some matcha soft serves or yuzu.

Knoops, known for its delectable chocolate offerings, has expanded into the realm of ice cream. Their soft serve is a delightful indulgence that can be customized with a choice of milk, white, or dark chocolate flakes and topped with their signature chocolate disc. The store boasts a clean and minimalist aesthetic, while the menu may initially seem confusing but becomes easy to navigate once you understand the percentages and chocolate types. The friendly staff are knowledgeable and offer helpful recommendations.
Indulged in the sweetest treat at @knoopschocolate and we're already planning my next visit! We had their ice cream topped with 34% Milk chocolate flakes—such a perfect combo of creamy and rich! Plus, you can choose between 28% White, 34% Milk, or 54% Dark chocolate flakes, so there's something for every chocolate lover. 😍 We also tried their signature hot chocolate, which was next-level! You can customize your drink with chocolates ranging from 28% to 96% cocoa, and even choose from different origins. The depth of flavor is unreal. 🌍🍫 If you’re a chocolate fan, this place is definitely worth checking out. Can’t wait to come back for more of their sweet creations!

When I say this is the best hot chocolate you can have, I mean it. I tried the 70% dark ice chocolate and it was lush, the staff were lovely and got some boxes to take as gifts too. I just wish the tables were cleaner and the seats were more comfortable but that’s just the sitting area I had issues with. Overall enjoyed it.

Friendly and efficient service from the staff. 100% hot chocolate was beautifully bitter and delicious. Cinnamon Bun was huge and looked amazing. Sadly it was a bit on the dry side and consequently lacking in flavour, so had to dip in the chocolate to compensate.

It was fine but the lady at the till kept misunderstanding our order meaning it took around 10 minutes to order. The mocha wasn’t the best and we had 3 small drinks in total I basically think it’s a dupe of hotel chocolate and more expensive. The best was the 36% one but it’s £6.55 so I’d walk a bit further down the street or get a boba 🧋.

This is the perfect spot for a work dinner or large group event. The staff were incredibly polite and did an outstanding job of catering to our big party. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was particularly impressed with the excellent vegan options. And I can’t forget to mention the amazing pizzas—they were absolutely huge! Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Nice family Italian restaurant. We went on a Friday night and it was quite busy. The star of the show were the 20 inch pizzas. Loads of toppings to choose from and you can go half and half with them making it great for sharing. The Aperol Spritz was just right too!

Popped in with my partner on the off chance they'd have a table. Luckily, we got one! The staff members were all very friendly and understanding as theres so many amazing things on the menu we did not know what to pick! The atmosphere was nice, chilled and relaxing energy! The food was absolutely unbelievable, we just got back from Napoli not long a go and really miss the amazing food, and the food here definitely comes closest to what we had in Napoli! the chicken gnocchi with mushrooms was just beautiful! Dor desert, we got a tiramisu, and it was so fresh, light, and full of flavour! We already can't wait to come back 👌🏽

We were celebrating our nieces' 30th birthday. Eight of us booked. The food was fabulous. Unfortunately, halfway through, we started to notice that the staff were clearing up, this was at 20.30 hrs. Our plates and glasses were taken away as soon as one of us had finished. Then, all around us, chairs were being put upon tables, the music was turned off and we hadn't finished our meals. Staff started leaving at 21.00 with their coats on, and we were then given the bill of approx £46 per person, plus a service charge of £6 per person. We couldn't have ordered a sweet as there was no one left to serve it!! The restaurant was advertised as closing at 22.00 hrs, but the staff were paid until 21.00 hrs. We didn't pay the service charge and complained to the manager. We were told they were sorry, but next time, all would be okay!!! You will see by my photos how disappointing this special evening turned out!! We shall not return!!

Absolutely fantastic place. I’d say some of the best pizza in Leeds. Nice flavours great dough and cooked in a wood fire. The other dishes are good as well. The mozzarella and prosciutto starter was excellent. It’s been a while since I’ve been and there’s a noticeable cost increase as there is everywhere but still well worth it.
Leon D — Google review
Me and the family came here after seeing amazing reviews of the giant pizzas and we just had to try for ourselves, along with another carbonara for me to sample! 😋 We had the garlic dough balls for starters which you can’t go wrong with in my opinion. My carbonara was absolutely spot on, no complaints whatsoever, I cleaned the bowl as usual. My other half and little boy got a huge half and half pizza to share, margarita and pepperoni. It was delicious! I can see why the place is known for its fantastic pizza! It was so huge they boxed the rest up and we took it home 😋 It was a Sunday tea time when we came and the place was busy so I would advise booking in advance. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, we would definitely come again. Overall, I highly recommend a visit here. Let down by front of house. After going to the plant sale we had a bite to eat in the always busy restaurant. The bearded guy with glasses on front of house did not look up from his screen to acknowledge us and left us waiting for an awkward length of time. All it would take is a 'I'll just be a minute' or 'Please bear with me'. He had a very miserable and superior demeanour which continued throughout our stay (we were sat next to him). I commented 'Service with smile'. He did the same with everyone else. They arrived smiling and I could see their smile gradually fade as he looked at his screen and didn't make eye contact. The food was OK, large portion for sandwich and chips, but nothing extraordinary. It's a shame to mark down the service as the waiters were the opposite, smiling, attentive, warm. We changed our mind and decided not to buy from the shop after the experience we had. Change front of house and get someone who does customer service.

Greeted by friendly staff and was shown to our table. The cafe was busy and we had afternoon tea for two, this was delivered with great service and attentive staff. All the food and cakes were tasty with as much tea as you could drink. We will be back. Thank you.

A friend suggested we meet here for a business chat and a bite to eat, and I’m glad we did. The atmosphere was really relaxed and welcoming, with a nice mix of people of all ages. The place itself was clean and well looked after. There are quite a few younger staff members, so the service was a little on the slow and slightly unorganised side – nothing major, just had to ask twice for sugar and ketchup. That said, everyone was friendly and polite, which goes a long way. Food-wise, it was great. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. I’ve had slightly better at other farm-style spots, but that doesn’t take anything away from how enjoyable it was here. The highlight was definitely the dessert – the Guinness cake is an absolute must. For two meals, two desserts and two drinks, it came to around £60, which felt fair for the quality. All in all, a lovely visit and I’d be happy to return.

Genuinely the best smashed avocado I've ever had. I mean look at it... And trust me, it tasted even better than it looked! I was starting in the area for the weekend and looking for a nice healthy breakfast on a Sunday morning, something that's not ready to give where I live. After googling I have this a go and wasn't disappointed. They have a great selection of teas, coffees, and pastries, all topped off with a vibrant, fresh, and healthy menu, perfect for brunch. It's a nice little place (especially as most of the coffee shops or cafes in Hyde park are a bit naff) but I paid £7.95 for this toastie (beef and cream cheese) and this was the amount of beef and cheese in each half. Really overpriced. Either put more filling in or lower the price. Decent coffee and nice staff. The sausage rolls are tasty too and priced fairly.

Really lovely café. It has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with some interesting artwork on the walls and a mix of people, which gives it a great vibe. The coffee is excellent. Our experience eating out with the kids turned into a complete disaster. We placed our order carefully, ensuring every detail was clear. Then, we waited. After some time, two milkshakes arrived. We waited again, and eventually, the waffles were served—but despite ordering two different kinds, we received the same type. We chose not to say anything and continued waiting. Then, coffee arrived, but without the milk we had requested. A hot chocolate coffee we had ordered never came at all. We had repeatedly asked the staff—four to five times—to serve everything together so we could enjoy our meal as a family. Yet, our request was completely ignored. No apology was given. Even other customers around us could see the poor service and supported us. I am generally a calm person, and those who know me can vouch for that. But this experience made me so frustrated that even my kids were shocked. Never again. To top it off, the food wasn’t even that tasty. Definitely not worth it.

We bought 3 cookie dough with ice cream, and my youngest child found a piece of blue rubber glove in his ice cream, we tried ringing the shop for over 10 minutes, and no one answered. In the end, we had to drive down to sort the issue out. I definitely agree with some of the other reviews here that the staff definitely need to demonstrate more professionalism. Definitely won't be returning there again.

The place has potential the desserts, ice creams, and smoothies look great, and there’s a gluten free option. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot inside with no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable. The tables were a bit dirty, and the biggest issue: no clear allergen information. I chose a gluten free item, but still ended up with a rash probably from nuts being nearby or cross contamination. There was no warning about this on the menu. They really need to be more transparent about allergens.

Kunafa brownie was good and with suggestion from the team added strawberries. The strawberries really balanced out the sweetness. Tried it again and the brownie by itself is a letdown. We had also ordered Fudge Cake and Custard. Such a letdown. The cake was not good and such a bad combo. We struggled to finish. Cookie dough is really good here. I once bought gelato by itself - bad choice. This was not our first time and we wanted to try new things. We got 20% student discount.

We went here as we’d been to the one in Bradford many many times so knew the food was good. The food was good but that is severely overshadowed by the state of the premises. So worn. Like embarrassingly worn. Ripped seats. Skirting boards half kissing. Broken glass in the door. We were scared to use the bathroom having seen other reviews and due to the general upkeep of the rest of the place. We were there for 30-40 minutes so we heard ‘All Too Well Taylor’s Version’ 3-4 times in a row 😂 We got the banoffee cookie dough and it was 10/10 no notes.

The desserts were great and service was really quick, despite it being fairly busy. The atmosphere wasn't great due to the extreme heat, very tired interior, broken windows and knackered seat covers. The mens toilet, which didn't have a cleaning sheet up and had possibly the worst stained toilet I have ever seen in a public facing businees. It wasn't dirty from a person leaving it dirty, it was dirty becuase it looked like it hasn't been scrubbed or even just bleached in a year... This made me look at why the urinal had a binbag over the top of it 🤮. Also no toilet roll ?🙄. The manager or owner of the business needs to pull their finger out and start looking back at the core basics of food and leisure.

I had a really disappointing experience here. I ordered 4 bubble teas — 1 passion fruit and 3 mango — and paid extra for specific bubbles and jellies. Firstly, the menu prices were outdated, and I was charged much more than what was listed. Secondly, despite being a takeaway order, only one of the four drinks was made correctly. The other three had the wrong syrups, bubbles, and jellies — completely different from what we ordered. It felt like no attention was given to the order at all. If you're charging extra for customisations, at least make sure the drinks match the order. This was honestly a waste of money and a very frustrating experience. I won’t be returning.

The most delicious donuts! Have eaten in the shop and ordered take out on multiple occasions and can safely say they do the best donuts! Would recommend the kinder donuts and belgian choc donuts. Staff are always excellent too and customise my order when requested.

Overall great place ordered from here many times iv had sundes the lot. I decided the switch it up today and got a kinder Buenos waffle ate most of it and saved my last slice for later after I have taken 1 bits out of the waffle it was green inside green on the back and now im devastated won't be ordering again as I could now get ill from that. Hope this helps 🙏

Amazing tasty deserts and quality ice cream at reasonable prices. Fast and efficient service. This is the place to be. Highly recommended

I’ve ordered from this place multiple times the same order of Caramel Frappe. Ordered today and they sent me a coffee milkshake and tried telling me it’s the same that I usually order. It didn’t even look or taste the same it just tasted of coffee. The guy on the phone was rude and didn’t even resolve the matter. The photo of the white with caramel syrup is the caramel frappe and the brown one is what they gave today and tried telling me it’s the same.

Ice cream shop
Goodalls of Tong is a unique destination located in an exclusive village between Leeds and Bradford. It offers more than just delicious homemade ice cream. Visitors can enjoy a variety of flavors while interacting with friendly llamas, donkeys, cows, ducks, and a goat at the small farm on-site. Children can also play in the designated play area. The welcoming staff and easy parking add to the overall positive experience for families visiting this charming location.
Absolutely the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Outstanding flavours and deliciously smooth soft ice cream. And to make it even better, you can sit and watch them making ice cream as you eat it. There’s also a play area outside for the kids! Highly recommend

Support your local farmers. Buy your produce directly from the farms! We went to Goodalls for the famed ice cream and it was a great experience. It's a farm shop with enclosures for alpacas, goats, chickens, cows, ponies and sheep which you can pet but not feed. The ice cream was indeed rich, flavourful and not small in portion sizes. We tried the coconut, chocolate, double cream, apple pie and hocus pocus. 3x double-scoops and a triple scoop. A pleasant afternoon and £19 very well spent.

A really nice place to visit with cafe and lots of ice cream flavours to choose from. Reasonably priced and the manager serving was friendly. Nice area outside to sit and a little play area for children and the added bonus of being able to visit some animals too! We will definitely be back 😊

Lovely ice cream! I have been here many times over the years and the ice cream is always amazing! My favourite flavours are the cookies & cream and the chocolate hocus pocus! You can also buy big tubs to take home, which are just as good. It’s a nice little walk around to see the animals too

Visitors rave about the thick and delicious milkshakes that are considered the best around. The owner's kindness shines through in the excellent service provided. With its inviting atmosphere and delightful offerings, it's highly recommended for those with a sweet tooth.
This is my second visit, and it definitely won’t be the last! I’ll be back soon for sure! 😁 The drinks are absolutely delicious, and the value for money is fantastic. Mr. Asghar is incredibly generous, making the experience even better. So far, my top recommendation is the saffron majoon (Energy Plus Saffron), it’s a must-try! 😋😋

Highly recommended for a sweet treat!
