Hey there 👋🏾, I'm Ray and I have an opinion ☝🏾! The food here was really enjoyable. Endearing up spending my pre-birthday dinner here and it was a great choice. Not only was the food good but the atmosphere was a buzz. Sure people were to themselves, it's Baltimore, but everyone was in good spirits, conversing and having a good time. Service was good too, for the most part. I'd go again and would recommend.

Clavel serves up excellent Mexican cuisine, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the perfect mood for a great meal. The service is friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. My favorite was their street tacos, absolutely incredible! The margarita not only refreshing but paired well with dinner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Mexican flavors in a cozy setting!

For Baltimore, vibes were GREAT - it was packed and LOUD! I would not recommend for families with kids or elderly as the noise can get a little loud, if you’re young that should not be a problem at all. 🎉 Decor was beautiful and what you’d love to see in a Mexican restaurant! Service was great too! I’d highly recommend their watermelon mezcal cocktail, that was sooo good! Food was okay. Maybe it’s good for Baltimore’s standard since it was crowded with a line. But coming from out of town, I’d go only for drinks, dessert (flan) and vibes 😉

I came here for the first time on a Monday night and it was really busy there. We were able to get a seat immediately and the food and service was excellent! I was amazed on how attentive are server was for how busy it was. The food and drinks were all quick to come out.

Waiter did a great job with recommendations. Still thinking about the mock tail he recommended for me. I don’t remember its name but it had bell peppers. Vegetarian options are ok, the meat dishes just looked better

We went on a Wednesday for the first time, and the place was packed to the gills. We went to see if we could be seated and was quoted a pretty long wait time. The hostess said to hang tight bc it she was pretty sure she could get is in before 40 mins. I wasn't so sure because there were almost no tables available. I even started to Google looking for nearby restaurants. This lady was on point! She got us seated in about 15 minutes, and the service was polite and fast. Not to mention, the food was fresh and tasty. They treated all customers fairly no matter the background. To be seated and served. The brisket pop up on the menu was good. We will try them once more.

A wonderful little spot at the corner of a busy, vibrant corner of Baltimore. This latina owned business brings a creative and thoughtful take on Mexican street food. The tacos are made to perfection. The salsa is on point. The paleta's were so delicious...especially the mango and chamoy flavor. If you haven't yet, go support this business all while getting a tasteful meal, too.

Great taco spot. The cactus tacos were unexpectedly the best thing we tried (Al Pastor and the tamales were great too). Big menu for such a small place! The style was super cool inside and the staff were very polite. Can’t wait to come back!

I ordered quesabirria tacos with guac online. I was given a pickup time. I gave it a few minutes and then went inside (after pickup time). There were a few people inside. The employee behind the counter had her back turned and did not turn around to greet new customers, take orders, take names, nothing. After waiting for about 5 minutes I got her attention and gave her my name. Didn't get word on when my order would be ready. Nothing. I waited inside for about 15min before my order was ready. The food was okay. The dipping sauce was watery and oily. Note I also gave a tip in advance when I ordered online because I heard the service and food were great. This is the reason I do not like tipping in advance, especially for pickup orders.

Was craving some really good authentic tacos and this place gave me what I needed and more. First of all when you enter you smell and the meat and spices cooking up. You can feel the authenticity in the atmosphere. The menu is extremely unique and versatile. Once you get a smell of the fumes you just want a little tasteof everything. I got the mix and match tacos and a quesadilla. The tacos come with your choice of meat and fixings how you want. The quesadilla was massive and packed with flavor. I’m an extremely picky eater and this hit every note just right. Everything was seasoned perfectly and you can just taste the freshness. Not to mention the portions. You’ll definitely have leftovers. They even had samples of fresh frozen fruit mixtures. Like fruit popsicles. Not something processed but light and natural fresh. All I tasted was fruit. I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try asap.

I saw this restaurant on the TV PSA for vaccinations in Baltimore as we were searching for someplace to have lunch. I am so glad fate stepped in! The service was excellent and speedy. We chose to get our food to go and eat back at our hotel, but there was limited seating inside. It looks like when the weather is warm there is likely some seating outside as well. The food was so good I couldn't stop eating it even when my tongue was on fire from the spice! The chipotle sauce is no joke, but it's so good! We got chicken enchiladas, chicken tacos, cheese and pepper tamales, and el esquelator (nacho fries). All were excellent! As a bonus, the art inside the restaurant was beautiful to look at while we waited for our food and I was happy to see the sign outside that it is a woman owned business (obviously by the name). We will definitely be back next time we visit the city!

Wow ... been wanting to come here for a while and man. Was it worth the wait ... yes ... am I ashamed I waited so long to eat here? YES! Tacos are great .. tried the al pastor, steak, chicken, and shrimp. Favorites were shrimp and steak. The al pastor were kind of disappointing. I’ve had better. Meal came with a complimentary delicious berry tea The place is small with minimal seating( some stools and a few tables outside) lots of cool artwork all over the place Staff is great. Super friendly and helpful My new favorite taco spot in Baltimore!

This place is small and cute. The Tacos and tamales tasted really good. They slightly messed up my order. I ordered two corn and one flour tortilla. They gave two shell and flour tortilla. I would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely spectacular - I haven't had chilequiles this good since my trip to Mexico City, and I get them as often as I can. The tepache suave was delicious and went perfectly. Beans and rice were perfection. I genuinely might go back tonight.

My wife and I stumbled on this local gem by accident. The other restaurant was closed and decided to take a chance. As soon as we walked in, the sensational aroma of good food hits you pleasantly. Then looking around at the size of the portions I got excited. I ordered 2 al pastor and 2 carne asada tacos. I was so full that I had to take a nap when got home. My wife in the other hand ordered the Sunday special with barbacoa tacos and soup. This was out of this world. I have to come back with my kids to eat at this authentic Mexican place. By the way service was quick, helpful and efficient. The restaurant is not huge but if you are hungry, I recommend this place 100%.

We just stopped in for a very quick bite, and everything was great. I thought I had decent spice tolerance, but their salsa got me. 😅 It's a small quaint restaurant, but the food was very tasty.

The service was terrible! Our server only took our order, and someone else brought out the food without checking on us. Eventually, we had to get up and ask for the check and some sauces. Additionally, the bathrooms were hideous and very unsanitary. We understand that she might have been busy, but prioritizing the guests is essential for business. On a positive note, the food was amazing! It was everything I wanted, and I will definitely come back for the food!

I was taking a walk this morning and found this spot and I’m so glad I did. The delightful young woman at the counter was so kind! I was greeted with a smile and we laughed at the fact we use Duolingo. Her for English and me for Spanish. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette. Let me tell you!!!!! I told them it was the best one I’ve ever eaten since my late mother made one for me.

I will never be back. Upon entering, it was very unclear on if you should seat yourself or wait to be seated. The food came well seasoned in a nice sized portion but that was after waiting after a hour on a Friday during “happy hour”. Because of the wait, it’s hard to get the happy hour menu items at the happy price. It was clear that they were short staffed. So if you’re looking for a job please apply.

They have the best Mole ever. The mangoneada is awesome too. If you are from México and feeling homesick, this is your place, if you want to try the best Mexican food you should come.

Had lunch when it wasn't too busy- food was hot, fresh, and excellent. Fresh nachos with a bright salsa, and enchiladas with a light green sauce and an outstanding mole. Service was quick and friendly. Would love to come back.

Came here a few months ago and loved it. Food was delicious, particularly the tacos. Returned today and was seated. Waited 30 mins and no one took our order. It seems like there is only one server who is also bartender and kitchen seemed understaffed too. We ended up leaving after being unable to catch servers attention. We were too hungry to keep waiting, particularly since we suspected time from ordering to getting food would be even longer.

I tried this spot for the first time today after work about 4:45pm. I ordered the carne fajitas. I had a margarita while waiting. It was a really great atmosphere. The waiter was friendly. The music was pretty loud, but it was happy hour. Perfect time if you’re dining alone as I was. The margarita was perfect and well priced at six dollars. I took my fajitas to go, but they were delicious. I ate everything that came with them including the rice. It’s five fajitas which is a very nice portion. All in all, I would definitely go here again.

There is a 19% gratuity added to every check no matter those size of the party which I believe is why the Service was so poor. Our waitress seem to have an attitude every time we asked her for something and this was our first time ever going, we even had to get the guy who brought the food from the Back to the tables to go get some of our stuff cause she forgot like our drinks and stuff And the tacos weren’t really all that good but the chips and dip were pretty OK

The food here is okay, but not worth the price they charge. The portions are pretty small for the price you’re paying. They also automatically charge a 19% gratuity on every order. They say it’s to ensure their wait staff is properly compensated…. why rely on your customers to pay your staff a livable wage?? The service was poor. There’s no incentive if they know they’re going to be tipped well regardless of how they treat the customer. Never got drink refills or the to go box I asked for. Order came out wrong and had to correct it. It took a while to even have a server come take our order in the first place after we initially got our drinks. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, so I’m not sure why service was so slow. The atmosphere is nice, but we won’t be back.

Perfect little stop for a Cross Street Market area bar crawl. The Margaritas are fun and impactful. Staff and regulars make the experience memorable. Must try!

I wasn't sure what to expect upon arriving at this restaurant. I elected to sit outside, which was a great idea. It's right on the street so it has a kind of cool vibe. I had their flight Margaritas which I definitely recommend. It was a fun way of just experimenting with different flavors. My favorite was the house by far even though I followed up with a couple of Dos Equis Amber's afterwards. My fajitas were really good. All in all, really good dinner experience and I will definitely be back.

Blue Agave is an iconic Federal Hill hangout. 3 outside tables. Lots of inside seating. Bar and tables. Service is excellent. Food is good. Price is more expensive than other Mexican places. Free nachos and salsa (mostly mild but you can add some hot sauce). Street parking isn’t easy but isn’t impossible. Highly recommend.

This unassuming Mexican spot in the Upper Fells neighborhood is a hidden gem. Their prices are reasonable, people who work here are lovely, and the food is quite decent. Tacos/tamales are delicious (they have lengua!), and their eggs with sausage & beans are a solid hangover cure. Most importantly, this is my go-to spot for tortillas; they make tortillas fresh in the restaurant and sell them in kilos: perfect for taco days at home with friends! Worth noting, the place is quite small, but I never had an issue finding a spot. Also, it is mainly for grabbing a quick bite, so don’t expect a sit-down restaurant experience.

Exceptional tacos and guacamole! Had the Al pastor and carnitas — both were great. The habanero and tomatillo sauce that come with were excellent. Guac is pricy but you get a lot. Primarily a take out spot but they were super fast—didn’t wait more than 5 min for my order. One of the best I’ve had in the neighborhood—will definitely be back

The best tacos and tamales I’ve had in a long time. I ordered three tacos (barbacoa. Asada. and chicken). The barbacoa taco was my favorite! It was juicy and tasty! The tamales are also delicious! This place makes authentic Mexican food, unlike so many other Mexican restaurants. The service was fast and courteous. The food is to-go only. There are no tables or chairs to sit on the premises. I walked a few blocks to eat on a harbor-front bench, though! I paid around $24, which may sound expensive; in reality. I got a lot of food, I highly recommend this place next time you’re in Fells Point!

This place is a must every time I’m in Baltimore. I don’t think the owner is Mexican but most everyone who works there is and they make thousands of fresh tortillas every day. I love stopping by early to eat eggs and chorizo when the tortillas are fresh & hot. The tacos are a must and I particularly love the barbacoa & al pastor but you can’t go wrong with any taco option. They make good tacos de lengua too.

Just north of Fells Point is a small taqueria popular among locals. Walk in and order at one of two registers. Within 10 minutes, your order will be ready. There’s a long window table, but most people get their order to go. Here’s my experience: 1) Menu: It’s large and includes tacos and other platters. My wife and I ordered the chorizo tacos. They were full of flavor, but more dry than other chorizo tacos we’ve had. They came Mexican style with onions, cilantro and salsa on the side. We also ordered guacamole, which is where we went wrong. It was way too limey and more watery than solid. It’s among the worst we’ve had. Guacamole is a staple so it made us wonder about this place. 2) Service: It was friendly and quick. 3) Space: It’s a quintessential taqueria with no-frills. It’s perfect.

This establishment makes their own fresh tortillas daily! I was very impressed, upon entering, that a man had a tortilla-making machine running at the front counter. I ordered two tacos with extra chicken. The tacos were ready in two minutes. Needless to say, the tortillas were delicious. The chicken was dry, but flavorful. Curiously, the texture and flavor of the tacos were more reminiscent of a Chinese wonton than a taco. Despite this fact, the tacos were scrumptious. Two zesty sauces were also served with the tacos. I appreciated the tasty radish garnish. Don’t count on the tacos to fill your stomach. I would need ten tacos to fill me up. These tacos, however, are a tasty treat (and worth $10)!

Waked in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and remembered to follow the signs to the restaurant. We tried the enchiladas, each plate came with 3 double-tortilla enchiladas generously stuffed with chicken, covered with sauc, cheese, avocado and a healthy side of fluffy red rice. The mole sauce was a little sweeter than I'm used to, but still very good. I really liked the salsa verde over my enchiladas and the stringy cheese on top. They had Selena music on repeat, made me miss growing up in South Texas. I only wish they had apple soda. Looking forward to coming back so I can sample the tamales and sopes!

I don't usually write a review for a dinner ordered off grubhub, but the flavor, quantity, and prices were all so good I can't help it. I got *4* delicious, loaded birria tacos with extra queso at no extra charge, a hot and fresh pupusa w slaw, 12oz of esquites, a full cup of incredible homemade flan, and 32 oz of some of the best horchata! All of that for less $$ than any place around. This restaurant is going to be heavy in my delivery rotation for sure. Compliments to the chef!

If you have a issue with your food being made incorrectly don't bother calling them to fix or correct the problem especially if you don't speak Spanish thay will hang up on you or put you on hold and just walk away.. their customer service sucks if an issue arises they simply just don't want to deal with it and that's just sad...this place won't get another dime out of me until they change their attitudes.....

The food here is awesome! I would say I'm a regular I've eaten from here more than 4 times and it's Pretty authentic. This place reminds me of California, even the little market. BTW this restaurant is INSIDE the Mexican food market. You can find great Mexican and International Latin spices and items here, which is amazing as a Latina. I usually get the 4 Tacos De Birria Y Consome and an extra taco like Al Pastor or Carnitas. I tried the Taco De Lengua (beef tongue) once since the food is good. The meat was very tender but it was lacking seasoning and flavor especially compared to the Birria Tacos. The food is usually good and I always forget to take Pictures! Will update with pictures one day... :) FYI I speak Spanish so it makes it much easier to communicate with the staff.

It’s ALWAYS those sort of hole in the wall Mexican restaurants that are thee best. I stumbled upon this gem as it’s down the street from my job. The food is amazing(the pupusas are 🔥🔥🔥) and SUPER affordable. I can get a good sized meal that’s delicious for like less than $10

Tacos were super good. Store in front was a vibe. Restaurant in the back was nothing fancy but the staff was super friendly. Avoid the Tamales. The ones I got were super salty, like ocean water salty.

The pork is sweet, so be prepared for that, but so good. A great spot to grab and go, if you're ready for some Korean/Texmex hybrid.

We have eaten here 3 or 4 times after visiting the Science Center and it does not disappoint! It is definitely on the pricey side but the food is amazing. I usually get a burrito bowl with the spicy pork and my husband gets Bi-Bim-Bop with Korean beef. Both are very good and fresh. The couple that owns it is very sweet too.

Pop Tacos is literally a mom and pop shop that sells tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and burrito bowls, along with a few Korean dishes. They also have Korean beef as a choice of meat and it is delicious! This is one of my favorite restaurant in Federal Hill. The owners are always working the front counter and making the food. They're super nice and friendly and the food is amazing. The place is always clean and even though it's intended as a carryout restaurant, they do have places to sit and eat in the front part of the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Pop Taco is one of the hidden gems of Baltimore. Asian fusion tacos are out of control. They are on the short list of places I tell everyone that is visiting to go visit.

Solid. Good portion sizes. Tons of flavor. Price is good considering the flavor and portion size. Solid all around. You can feed two people with some of the selections. Be warned you might never want to go to Chipotle ever again!

This place is so good. The food is delicious every single time! The owners are always friendly and the service is excellent. They once gave me free tacos with my order when someone didn’t pick them up, so I ate them for breakfast the next day. Now I order the tacos and so should you.

They are open again!! If you like chipotle, you will be kicking yourself for not trying this place sooner and it puts the chain places to shame. My personal favorite is the tofu bowl with veggies, while my husband loves the Korean Bulgogi bowl!

I ordered the $10 taco special expecting 4 mini tacos with 4" tortillas. To my surprise, I was served generously stuffed tacos with double 6" tortillas. Sampled both the carne asada and Al pastor and both were delicious!! These are the style of street tacos I crave for. Clean meat, fresh tortillas, good salsas. Can't wait to come back!

This is one of two 11/10 restaurants I've visited in Baltimore. I've been multiple times since. Their birria tacos are absolutely to die for. I had birria for the first time here, and I've not seen another restaurant top it. Their portions are massive for the price you pay. You're provided also with complementary salsa. Service is fast and friendly. They clearly care about you here; you will leave full!

If you are looking for good tacos or just good Mexican food go here. I was truly had lost hope on finding good tacos in Baltimore until I found this spot.

I have heard nothing but great things about this place. The service is amazing and the Carne Asada is SOOOO good!!!! The best thing about this place is that all of the food, in my experience, comes minimally seasoned, enough so that it is still delicious, but you can still add many of the toppings and customize it to your liking. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because all of the other meat I tried was pretty alright. Seriously though the Carne Asada absolutely stole the show! The fruit drinks are very good too, I had the mango and it was very fresh. This is the best taco joint in Baltimore!

One of Baltimore’s BEST restaurants. El Sabor offers incredibly friendly service, delicious tacos, and affordable prices. I am a huge fan of their vegetarian tacos and my partner loves their carne asada and pollo tacos.

Always good. Food is GREAT and there are a ton of fun protein options. Staff are generally really nice and hospitable. It is pretty small/cramped on the inside, and the last time I went the tv had some sort of weird AI slop YouTube video on endless repeat.

Hole in the wall taqueria located across the street from Patterson Park (hence, the name). Friendly service and excellent food - including breakfast items. I particularly like their language tacos. Atmosphere is bare bones. The food is so worth it!

Sat outside on a cool night in August. Hard to believe it was such great weather. Ordered shrimp tacos, Brussels sprouts and yucca fries. All of the food was excellent! I would come here again!

We celebrated a private engagement party at Barcocina and it was such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was intimate yet lively, and the personalized touch of having the couple’s slideshow playing on the bar screens made the night feel extra special. The food was fantastic. I especially loved the queso and the fresh guacamole. The cauliflower taco had a nice “sweet” flair to it, too! We sampled every flavor of margarita (highly recommend doing the same if you go!), and while all were tasty, the smoky margarita was my personal favorite, followed closely by the spicy margarita. For dessert, we indulged in their churros, which were absolutely divine. On top of all that, the view from their patio is stunning and really adds to the overall vibe. Whether you’re stopping by for a night out or looking for the perfect venue for a private celebration, I highly recommend Barcocina enough.

Service: Came to Barcocina with some friends for a night out and dinner. It came highly recommended and had great reviews online. We were seated quickly, which was a nice surprise, and had a lovely view of the water. The waiter was friendly and shared some of her favorite dishes, which helped us narrow down our choices. Taste: Everything we ordered was delicious. The birria duck tacos were full of flavor and a definite favorite. The shrimp pasta was creamy, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. We started with the tuna tartare, which was fresh and tasty, though it could have used a few more chips on the side. The drinks, from mojitos to wine and cider, were also great complements to the meal. Ambiance: The restaurant has a relaxed yet elegant vibe, with a great view that adds to the experience. It’s a perfect spot for dinner with friends, a date, or just a chill evening out by the water. Overall Review: Barcocina lived up to the hype. The service was kind and efficient, the food was flavorful, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Prices were reasonable for the quality and location. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great waterfront dining experience.

This was such a fun and vibey place, we went on a Saturday evening and half of the place turned into a little day club. If you want to enjoy good food and good ambiance, this is the perfect weekend spot. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as well. The views from the outside are also amazing with the pier right next to it. They had a couple vegetarian options: cauliflower and mushroom tacos. They were really good, the cauliflower was a little sweeter than I expected but still awesome! Would highly recommend this as a date spot or a place to have a great afternoon dancing away to music while sipping on great cocktails.

The ambiance and location are really nice. Most of the tacos are pretty average, but the duck birria (available only on the dinner menu) is outstanding.

The place was not busy when we visited for mid week lunch so service was not an issue. We sat at the bar with a great view of the harbor and had a drink one app and tacos 🌮. All were tasty but it wasnt cheap, not super pricey but it was about 42 bucks before tip I belive as I paid for the app. Yucatan fries and one vodka drink, rail, and cheeseburger tacos. Definitely worth a stop in but im sure when its a busy night it can get loud and fun in there im sure.

I was in Baltimore for a weekend getaway to get some alone time and recharge my battery. I was out on a walk along downtown Baltimore near Inner Harbor, when I came across this restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and the decor in the restaurant. They were playing soft rock and other rock music from the 70s & 80s, you wouldn’t think of rock music when you think of tacos, but it went together PERFECTLY… When you order you can either dine in or take it to go. I ordered my food at the counter and they gave me a number and I sat down. I didn’t have to wait long because five minutes later my food was brought to my table. Everything was delicious and well seasoned, the freshest ingredients were used and I savored every bite. I highly recommend the Grilled Steak Taco Salad served in a fried tortilla bowl and their Fiesta-Rita. I’ll be returning to Baltimore in two weeks and will definitely be back.

I was invited to lunch here with some friends after church. As soon as we walked in the placed felt cool and clean. The service was very friendly and there were a lot of options to choose from. They have a very extensive salsa selection and although I didn't drink on this trip, there is a nice looking bar that I wouldn't mind coming back for. I got the fish tacos--they were pretty good but I thought the white sauce they used was just okay. Overall, it was a nice place and I would love to try some of their other menu items soon.

Quality has gone down over the years. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and it was thin as paper. WHERE IS THE SHRIMP? True definition of disappointment not worth $20 AT ALL. Smh won’t be back 👎🏾👎🏾thank u but no thank u , next.

I just discovered this place last week. I've been twice so far and I'm addicted. the burritos are excellent, tasty and well crafted. The house margaritas are yummy, and the whole place is eclectic and interesting. friendly staff especially the young lady that works the register. Highly recommended!

We tried this place today and were impressed by the bold Mexican flavors. The rich layers of avocado, cheese, and generous toppings really stood out. The Bean Avocado Taco and Veggie Taco were definite favorites. The Beyond Meat version, however, was a bit underseasoned — same with the burrito. That said, their Verde and Picosa sauces truly lifted the experience. Don’t skip those!

OMG!! The food here was crazy amazing. I got the chicken quesadillas. It was the chipotle chicken and it was so flavorful and delicious. We also ordered wings and plantains. Every bite was worth every penny. They have a good happy hour and the service was great. We loved it so much we went back the next day.

Banditos is alright for food and solid with drink specials. Tacos are a decent size, but most of the happy hour taco fillings are only okay. The pork belly was my fav, but it's the smallest piece of pork I've seen in a while. I had to douse the tacos in quite a lot of hot sauce to make them worthwhile. 🌶️ The empanadas were a big pass for me. 🙅‍♀️ While the shell was crunchy and fried, I could not decipher which filling was which because they both had a very loose cheese filling (cream cheese? American?) that was too much on my palate. Only one of them supposedly had ranch, but they both tasted way too zesty to me, so who knows. Luckily, hot sauce fixes everything, so doused them as well. 💁‍♀️🌶️ Margaritas were decent - not the best, not the worst, but def drinkable. Banditos is a booze and nacho spot for me.

I've been here twice, unfortunately. This is more of a bar than a restaurant. A huge mound of food arrives at the table. Three people couldn't/ didn't want to finish the nachos. The music is great, but way too loud. It's a great spot to pre-game, but not a great dining experience. The waitstaff is rude, when they're not ignoring you.

It was barely good and in case you don’t know—I didn’t—they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill if your order is over $60. Not happy because we waited forever to get a bowl which was mostly lettuce, very little rice, beans, meat, etc. The margaritas were just ok. The only thing my husband liked was the fish tacos. Just MEH!

It's been a few years since our last visit, and we will definitely make this a regular stop! Outstanding tacos, drinks and atmosphere. Plus live music, which we've missed I've the past several months 🙂

I am completely disgusted with their level of “idgaf”. I ordered $48 dollars worth of tacos for pickup and the attached picture is what their staff felt was acceptable and normal. They did not assemble the tacos at all and they did not even provide the taco tortillas! When I called to ask for them to remake it or give me my money back, they refused to answer their phone and their voicemail box is full. Never go here.

They are very friendly and provided everything we asked. The place was also clean, and there was plenty of space. There are a lot of options, and you can ask to customize things to your liking. My family loved the food. Not every place that serves pupusas knows how to make them good, but this restaurant is one of the few that do not disappoint.

The service and food were fantastic. Warm, comfortable atmosphere. This will be my spot every time I return to Baltimore. Highly recommend!

Best food and service! Had the Plato tipico Salvador #1 - the steak was done to perfection, the pupusa was so good I ordered more to take home. I had not had a “fried elote tamal” before and I was DELICIOUS!! Ordered more of them too! My guest had the enchiladas and they were delicious. The owner gave us samples of his drinks and was very attentive. I will come again that’s for sure!! Never underestimate the little hole in the wall joints as they can be the best stops on your journey.

Legit! Wife and I visited after she found it on a Twitter top tacos in Baltimore and this was one on the list. We just moved back after living in Texas for three years and have been hurting for tacos. This place delivered. The carne enchilada (spicy) was my favorite. The carne asada tasted great and the pollo asado was cool. Fries were not impressive -I was expecting them to be seasoned, ketchup helped. Guacamole was hittin!!! So fresh.

These are excellent authentic Mexican tacos. Reasonable prices and they make it fast. I’ve been coming here for five years now and they’re my first choice if I want real tacos. The spicy pork is the best. And the green sauce get extra.

I ordered there for the first time today. The woman on the phone was very nice and pleasant. I ordered guacamole and chips and 3 chicken tacos. It was about $18 I believe. Everything was delicious! And they were wonderful size portions. I have some left over for lunch tomorrow. The chips are thick which made scooping the guac very manageable and they did not break. The tacos were nicely seasoned. Came with a few slices of cucumbers and radishes. The cucumbers were very fresh but I don't like radish. Will definitely come here again!

Food was not greasy at all and came out fairly quick which was awesome. Pretty big portion sizes—prices are average. The server team was nice and would check in on us often. The music was pretty loud so it was hard to hear—also a bit inappropriate for an environment with kids. I noticed on all the dishes, the meat seemed to lack. Loved the nachos—really flavorful, not soggy.

Trash gave me an overpriced burrito with nothing in but meat and rice and cheese literally nothing else . For all that go to chipotle unless you speak their language. Other than that they’ll get over on you and tax you .

The best, most tender, most fluffy chicken tamale I have ever had. Cheese pupusa, chicken enchilada (more delicate than other versions) and Camarones al Plancha were all excellent. I love this place. Portions are large and we had leftovers for days.

Excellent baleadas, pupusas, and platanos. I had the vegetarian baleadas and loroco pupusas. The baleadas on fresh homemade flour tortillas, with that salty cheese, those perfectly buttery eggs! What a treat.

The Good: The staff was pleasant and we were seated quickly. The establishment was clean and comfortable. I had the vegetarian tacos, and I will say they are an acquired, which means they are not necessary bad, it is just not a taste I am used to. My wife had the chicken tacos, which she thought were decent. My son had the cheese quesadilla and fries, and they were both good. The Bad: The food could have been a little better I thought. Judgment: Overall, great. Decent food and nice atmosphere. I do recommend giving this place a try.

Nice place for some authentic Mexican dishes. We were able to choose seating and was promptly waited on. Food selection was very pleasing and their Melon, Cucumber and Hibiscus juices will quench your thirst. Will visit again.

The ladies that work here are super friendly and fast. The outside doesn't look like much but as they say looks can be deceiving. Just ordered and picked up to go but the food is amazing and flavorful. Chicken tacos tender and solid. Authentic street tacos. The super burrito lives up to its name phenominal I choose chorizo. If you haven't been then go. If you've been go even more.

Always delicious. Good portions good flavors. Had so Much fun. They have free parking in the lot. Their caldo de res (beef soup/broth) out of the world. The Torta Cubana is bigger than your head so watch out!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

I’d give it a 4.8 Would totally go back, wouldn’t go out of my way. But if I’m around and craving this type of food it would be an option. I just wish I got a bit more chicken, but it was a good portion of food. I genuinely enjoyed my meal, wasn’t knock out the park but it was definitely good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Small place like 4 tables I believe. Service was quick and they were friendly. I walked there from the hotel but street parking, I went around lunch(12p/1p) and the street was pretty clear.

If you’re looking for birria tacos…this is it. I mean it. Coming from a Texan, I was incredibly and happily surprised when I ordered birria tacos and the chicken tortilla soup. The portions were perfect, and the salsas and flavors were excellent. They even had Mexican coca colas which I was glad to have! The soup was good and it had fresh avocado and hand made tortilla strips for it. The prices were a little high (same as sit down dinners) but is honestly worth it since the food was 10/10. For one person I’d say about $25-$30 if you want a meal. They had ample seating and the staff was very nice. I will be back!

This was an absolutely amazing burrito. The service was really quick. Everyone was very kind and nice. I love mexican food and this was very authentic. Better than some of the stuff I get in Texas. The inside has almost no AC, so it was incredibly hot inside. Would have rather sat outside or something.

A little packed when I went on a Monday for lunch! The food is great. You walk in, look at the chalkboard menu, and walk up and pick your ingredients--not unlike Chipotle, except definitely higher quality! There was a line, but I didn't wait long, as they move fast. Dining tables and booths line the walls of the small restaurant. The Barbacoa Burrito, the Birrio Tacos, the Mexican Corn, and the Churros I ordered were all absolutely fantastic! Very satisfying. Add your own hot sauce if you want extra heat, though--none of this was all that spicy, in my opinion. Overall, I was in and out but have no major complaints, as the food and service were each top quality! 5/5 stars.

BOMB AF! Great flavor and authentic vibe. I love the pickled veggies and freshness of the salsa. Everything is made in your face and they are vegan friendly. They do so well with presentation as well. Check them out of you can and try the cactus tacos.

What a convenient place for tacos, a friend and I ended up visiting after a night out at the power plant. Ordering is pretty easy with a nice display board ( bathrooms are for paying customers). My friend got the tacos, and I the Birra tacos…. Tbh I wasn’t impressed but I’m willing to give them another try, just remember to check before you pay I almost had to pay for 2 extra waters( I was lit but not that lit ;)).

The service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming but food wise? Nothing to rant or rave about. Let's start with the homemade watermelon drink, delicious Not too big of a fan of Watermelon but the drink was very much refreshing and you can tell it's juiced. Everything else? A disappointment. For one, you can't claim to be authentic Mexican/ street food when your chips and quest comes straight from AMC Theaters. I thought I was about to order a movie when they served me this. VERY disappointed. The Birria Tacos itself just tasted like standard public school tacos from back in the day. Nostalgic? Sure but nothing to rant or rave about. The birria broth was too watery to taste anything and the salsa was honestly saving the entire dish. I ordered 4 tacos so $20 for all 4 plus the chips and queso and the juice made it $35. Imma be honest? This was NOT worth $35. It didn't taste authentic at all. It tasted very...gentrified. So I'll pass next time I'm very disappointed because everyone was recommending this place to me when I first moved here but you can tell this is a gentrified Mexican spot. I should've stuck to getting Ramen today 😔

Amazing food! Love the aesthetic as well. It’s fast casual vibes. You order up front and then pick it up at the front counter. They have a lot of cute photo ops. I liked the bathroom, too. The person I was seeing unfortunately took our lunch date as an opportunity to break up with me, but oh well! I would go back with friends or family. Great place overall. Nobody asked but I was being a feminist and paid for lunch so I’m bitter about that. Nothing to do with how great this place was, just something to note.

Visiting Baltimore for the day and found San Pablo through a tiktok food review. So glad we stopped in for lunch. Everything we ordered was so good and I think the birria tacos are a must try. These were the beef tacos that I got. Shame because I just moved down the street and was hoping to be a repeat customer. I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt that my order got messed up but maybe it’s correct because there was a lime included. 1 star, look at these beef tacos.

Absolutely love this space! They recently underwent staff / menu / and chef changes as in all new everything! The new staff is always friendly and accommodating and I cannot rave enough about the new chef! Favorites right now - the lengua burrito and the elote in a cup!

Stopped by for Taco Tuesday around lunchtime. Got to sample the chicken, beef and pork tacos and the Guildford beer on tap. The pork and chicken tacos were both good. I was disappointed to end up with a ground beef taco instead of carne asada. Looking forward to trying out the posole.

A $2 Taco Tuesday sign brought me in and I wasn't disappointed. The tacos are really good. The chicken with green chiles was my favorite. We tried five different kinds because of the promotion. Service was really slow, slower than I thought it would be for street tacos. But I can accept that since the tacos were good. Not saying they're the best tacos around or anything, but I had a really good experience here and will come back here again.

The food is absolutely DELICIOUS. The meat is so tender it legit melts in your mouth. They have homemade horchata and hibiscus tea drink. The chips are homemade. The flavor profile of all the food I tried was immaculate. The owner cooks the food himself with the help of some co-workers. Got to chat with him for a bit and he is very dedicated to his restaurant from the quality of the food to the service to the atmosphere. He's really friendly and easy to talk to. They're changing their menu soon and I can't wait to try the new dishes. I will be going back and I'm def bringing friends!

If you like street tacos, you’d probably like this spot. Stopped by late (11pm) after a very long work day. Cute Mexican restaurant with 2 parts (a dining room and a bar area that also has tables seating) with separate entrances. Friendly, casual atmosphere. Ordered 2 steak tacos (only $5 each) abs a side of black beans (approx $5) with a side of pico de gallo. Bill came to approximately $18. They will also include a green sauce and an orange sauce (very spicy🌶️). I love spicy food but I found the green sauce to be far more flavorful. So I put both on my tacos. The tacos are made with corn tortillas. I personally prefer flour because the corn seem to be less durable and fall apart more easily. However, everything was good and tasted fresh! I actually was fairly full and satisfied just from 1 taco with the black beans and pico. So saved the other for later. I would recommend if you like Mexican street tacos. I did not try anything else on the menu. But definitely an authentic Mexican restaurant. Great for late night fresh, filling, good eats. They’re open late (until midnight Monday-Wednesday and 1 AM Thursday-Saturday). Closed on Sunday.

This is the best taco spot in Baltimore if You are really looking for authentic, delicious, good quality and fresh food. It brought me back to Mexico! The staff Was super friendly and they all work together to make Your experience there the best. The chef is incredibly talented and it is always bringing new ideas and things to the table, so be prepared to have a very positive experience with very good food. Small and practical menu that lets you know everything is prepared from scratch daily. Tortillas are super good and al pastor is the king of the place. They are soon going to be opening outside sitting and it is on a very nice area and clean location. I also loved that the salsas weren't overwhelmingly spicy and everything was seasoned perfect. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back to try everything on the menu!

By far one the best Mexicans places in the city. Chef Valentino is always there making sure food and service goes flowless. Food is delicious. Beets and Goat’s cheese salad, all the tacos need to be ordered. Can’t tell you enough about the Shortribs and Truffle Mash potatoes. Nice selection of drinks from N/As to beer and wine. Street parking pay to park and around the corner free street parking. Clean bathrooms are a plus. Make sure you go here hungry.

I was introduced to this restaurant by a Hispanic friend, and it has become my favorite spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. From the appetizer to the main course, everything is fresh and flavorful. I have brought friends here, and they always respond with great appreciation and positive feedback. The owner is often present, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Each dish is thoughtfully presented and tastes wonderful. It is certainly worth a visit when in Baltimore. Another important thing is that is open till late. Very important to me 😃

The service is friendly fast and accurate. The place is clean with good lightning and very spacious. The crowd is casual and quiet. The carnitas tacos are flavorless, don't order them. The corn on the cob is very good (the corn was not sweet but it was fresh) but it's 1 ear for 8.00 and his not evenly coated with the cheese mixture.

Food is authentic and you can taste the flavors of each ingredient as opposed of “cooked oil” flavor. Tortillas are made in a way that they preserve the flavor of corn. I had the mole enchiladas which were delicious. Size portions of dishes is perfect to satisfy your taste buds and hunger without overeating. I highly recommend this place for a rich Mexican dish and a low key atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food taste and I would definitely not order again, especially because of the quality I received for the price. I ordered a side of street corn ($7) and chips and guac ($7). The street corn had way too much cheese mayo on it that it overpowered the dish and that’s all you could taste. The guacamole was very bland. Very disappointing.

Ordered a shrimp & a chicken taco. The shrimp taco tasted completely like vinegar due to the over saturation of pickled onion. The flavor profile on the chicken taco was tasty. I would recommend the business either add another kiosk or have a cashier take orders because the wait to a bit lengthy for it not to be busy.

I must say that I'm sad to have to leave a bad review. I really dd love this place but unfortunately I'm losing on money because my food went into the trash. My son put me on with this place and I've been going almost twice a week. Spending $60 on just 2 bowls and a side is not cheap. However I brought food last Wednesday morning. I tried to eat my food but it was hard and cold as if they didn't just open for the day. I was still in my work uniform that's why I grabbed my food and left afterwards. If I had the time, strength or energy I would've took it back.

Disappointed with the recent changes. I used to love Amano Taco, but lately the quality has gone down. My bowl was noticeably smaller than usual about half the size I normally get and unfortunately, the service didn’t make up for it either. It’s frustrating to be charged more while getting less. Hoping things turn around soon, because this used to be one of my favorite spots.

It looks like it would be good because of how ascetically pleasing it looks but not so much. The flavor was very underwhelming and there was just too much going on. I wouldn’t get pickled onion on my tacos normally and now I know why. Also the chorizo and chicken looks like cat food. Chips were good though. Also $30 for 4 tacos and chips is kinda crazy.

This is literally my favorite place in all of Baltimore. I've been coming here since they opened in 1996 and they've never disappointed. Best margs I've ever had - like no place beats them, and they're cheap! The food is solid. My faves are the triple dip, chicken tacos, and fried plantains, but everything is good. The bartenders are lovely, kind, inclusive, and friendly. I always feel welcome and at home here. I come here at least once every 2 weeks and I always love it.

Never had a bad time at this bar! The owner is the coolest cat, and the staff is always amazing :) food is primo! Can’t wait to camp out in front of it again for the annual Mayor’s Day Parade! It’s been a tradition for a long time and this restaurant makes it even better :)

Came here on Wednesday September 24th 2025 I got 3 drinks for me and my friends and paid in cash around 7:45pm. We were late for the pinball league that day so I was feeling a bit rushed from my friend group. When I left the bar I forgot to tip, I’m also used to automatic gratuity that we do at the bar I work at. I realize my mistake about 15 minutes later and I come back to the bar with more cash to tip the bartender but I never got to because he walks by real fast and claims he’s not serving me anymore. Eventually I get the attention of his colleague who I inform him that I’m guessing it’s because I forgot to tip and the colleague tells me I am correct. I give them the tip money anyways; however I feel like it was incredibly unprofessional of the bartender (who was wearing the white baseball cap). As a bartender/manager myself if a guest doesn’t tip, it never affects my service quality. I don’t know the reason. They may get my tip on the next round or when they leave; in cash. you never know! In my case I literally forgot and had come back a few minutes later to correct my mistake but I was turned away by unprofessional service. You’re costing yourself money and the business money with that attitude. You didn’t even have the confidence or professionalism to tell me why yourself or try to resolve the issue. I had to find out from your co-worker, who imo handled it very well.

Came here for to see show and it was a great little place. Bar service was quick, even when busy. The drinks were also super reasonable in price. The main reason i came was to support some local music and I can see why people love coming here for shows. Great music space with a unique style.

We were at Frazier’s across the street and got hungry. Needed something good that wasn’t gonna break the bank. Got guac and some tacos. Super tasty! I didn’t have anything to drink but heard that the margarita was good. Was a liiiiiitle dirty inside but I expect that from a place like this where it’s sorta walk-up service and cafe style.

The tall, blonde bartender at Holy Frijoles exhibits fraudulent, illegal behavior. About a year ago, I noticed I was getting charged $1 more than I was authorizing (if I authorized $12, I would be charged $13). This happened on multiple occasions and, at some point, is not a mistake. I was constantly having to dispute the charges. One recent Monday, I decided to visit Holy Frijoles for their happy hour deals. I brought cash with me and confirmed with many sources the price of the item I was receiving; I did not want to deal with the bartender’s dishonest ways. Unfortunately, he ended up being the one serving me. He told me the item was $9. Suspicious, but I paid. When my friend arrived, she ordered the same thing as me and I noticed on her receipt the same item was $8. Confused, I confronted the bartender about this. “That says $8, why’d you charge me $9?” He nonchalantly shrugged his shoulders and said, “I don’t really know what to tell you.” He walked away for a moment and then came back and said, “I don’t ever recall you tipping, so I don’t really care how much you pay.” Not sure where this came from—I hadn’t been to Holy Frijoles for a year (perhaps he thinks all black people look the same?). Additionally, I have a history of tipping despite his tendency to give himself more than authorized. Lying about the cost of an item is illegal and fraudulent (but seems to line up with his entitled behavior). In addition to his fraudulence, amongst customers, this same bartender has a rude and sassy attitude. That being said, if you wish to stop by Holy Frijoles, do not allow the tall, blonde bartender to serve you. Save yourself the dishonesty and annoyance of having to dispute a charge or two.

My daughter and I love the food here. Most of all, the portions are huge considering the price. We always leave full and satisfied. One of our faves.

First time trying here being treated to lunch by my job. I had a taco salad in a tortilla bowl. It was delicious and they had vegan options too which was awesome since I am vegan. Definitely want to return here and sit inside definitely will bring my husband back here with me. I think he will love their food too!

I see the boisterous care description. That was not my experience. fabulous meal, the coldest crispest Corona light,. I went for the large entree Parrilada which is 2 jumbo shrimp stuffed with crabmeat, sliced beef flank steak, lamb chop and the most flavorful, moist spare ribs ever with a fruit sauce. Sides are plenty. I went with salad and fried plantains. My only objection: they asked what temperature I wanted my beef. Zi said medium rare. The flank steak was well which tends to dry it a little but the lamb chop was perfect.

The food is good. I order especially on Tuesday because they have tacos ( only pork and chicken) for $1.50. I got the taco carnitas and taco chicken with 1 taco carne asada which is $3. Make sure too get enough green sauce it makes a difference.

This place might not have the most polished interior, but i promise you it has the best food. It is super affordable and seems to be run locally. Everything I've had there has been fantastic. It is some of the best mexican food you can get around here. The portion sizes are pretty generous as well.

Our first visit, we picked up; took them 15 min to make the order. Ordered a Original burrito, Chicken quesadilla & Hay Oaxeca. Very tasty, as they added the right quantities of ingredients. Good portion; more than enough for a meal. Hay was nice and crispy. The amount of chicken added was huge to give a really good taste to the food. Person taking the order doesn't speak a lot of English but she wants to help the customers, just be patient.

Okay, so we gave this place a try because we heard the margaritas and tacos are good. We got a pitcher, it did not meet any of our expectations, tasted like lime juice. We loved the Corn Bite!

The tacos are legit and the nachos are amazing (carne asado, sweet potato, cauliflower-three different tacos). The prices are high though, guacamole for two that appears to be made with a single avocado is $12. For two people that's a serving size, but the mark up is insane! Also, 20% is added on for gratuity, which I think makes all the waitstaff responsible for everyone-naturally it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. The armosphere was fun and lively, without being wild. It was strange to hear two different sets of music playing at the same time. My friend loved the purple drank.

Visited for taco Tuesday because they have this amazing 20% off the entire check special going on. We ordered a pitcher of the spicy vida margarita and it was delicious! Despite one of our tacos being bad, our amazing server, Sam rectified the issue instantly. Top notch service. The other tacos are good. We’ve had better but we will definitely come back for Sam and the drinks!

I liked this place. Keep in mind they don't have a big menu mainly tacos and a few other apps, so if you looking for a big menu of Mexican cuisine this is not the place. What we had was really good though and the drinks were delicious. Would return. My only complaint is all the seating was high chairs which doesn't always work for short, older or disabled people. So I won't be bringing my mom or husband. Oh and do get the fried corn!

This location is very unique in its menu and atmosphere. It’s a short menu that gives you the best bang for your buck. The drinks are are creatively garnished and the food is tasteful with reserved portions. I know it sounds like you are getting less, but with it’s location and what it’s around, it’s good to have a place that has quality food that won’t take a long time to wait for. If you want go out for a quick bite, just finished with an event in the area and kinda hungry, or have something to eat before you step out and enjoy downtown, Vida gives you a nice, easy to read menu, plethora of Tequilas, and nice scenery, and ofcourse... great tasting soft tacos.

Great experience!! Service was bomb and the wings were so good!! Edit: went on Monday 6/5/23 and got burgers and a Long Island tea (mango) I enjoyed everything! Got a bonus treat the owner actually served us and the service was same from our first visit which was great! I never had a fish taco and was made one even tho it was burger Monday and it was so delicious! The fish was fresh and the ingredients on the taco was also fresh! This restaurant is terrible. The vibe is a miss. No music playing or anything. I went on a Thursday night, there were about 6 people in there other than myself and two friends. The service was top notch terrible. We basically had to chase the young lady down to place orders. When we would ask for anything she was walking away before we could even finish our sentence. I guess you can offer that type of service when 20% gratuity is already included. I ended up not even ordering after I saw my friends food come out on PAPER PLATES like it was straight out the microwave. They were having pasta specials that night so one of my friends ordered that. The noodles were over cooked, like literally stuck together. And the sauce I'm pretty sure was Ragu. They also ordered flat breads and nachos and queso. For the nachos and queso it was essentially movie theater nacho cheese and Tostitos tortilla chips, they sprinkled parsley on the tortillas and cheese. The flat breads chicken was dry and lacked flavor, she could barely even cut through the flat bread. She ate about half of it before her jaw got tired and we paid and left. This places IG page really does them justice. They take phenomenal photos of their food but they should add a disclaimer that objects do not actually present like they are photographed.

This place is awesome this place is awesome. The owner is a long time Baltimore area and absolutely gets the vibe here. The dessert drinks are amazing and the cakes /food were great too. The owner's mom actually home-makes the beef and chicken party (which was kind of like a pupusa and only 5 bucks) are delicious and the bar doesn't feel corporate at all.

It's a good spot to grab a bite & drinks. We went on Sunday, They have burgers & chicken Quesadilla and they were $5. The place is small, basically just bar seating and a few booths. Happy Hour specials for everyday of the week. Wings were good, my husband had the salmon BLT and that was good as well. FYI, we ordered chips & queso. They gave us nacho cheese sauce, it was good but the menu is misleading because nacho sauce is Not Queso. Other than that, everything was ok!

I absolutely love this place! They always have a bomb happy hour special everyday especially on Fridays! Friday is ladies night with an all you can drink special for 40 dollars (I believe it’s a two hour time limit). The bartenders are amazing and make their drinks just right. They are also super responsible! They will cut you off, if they suspect you reached your limit. The food there is good as well, I always get the Chesapeake tots or the Salmon BLT. The place is small so I suggest getting there early. I will always be back❤️

The shrimp and chicken tacos were really good. So were the honey jerk wings. The flavored margarita drinks were kinda strong all you need is one maybe two if you're a drinker drinker. The chicken quesadilla and cheeseburger were meh. Good luck finding parking.

Cheap delicious tacos made fresh while you wait. Servings are plentiful and with the double tortillas it's like you get 2 tacos for one. The eat counter only seating lets you sit at the counter and watch the world happen through the window. The chicken tacos and al pastor tacos are rich in flavor. Definitely a must to go for traditional authentic tacos.

Best taco I had on east coast so far. (Fine I'm sure NYC or DC definitely have good tacos but whatever). Very small space, not for someone looking for ambiance but for some authentic food. People are nice. First time we came on Cinco de Mayo and the lady gave us free food cups when we leave.

The entire attraction to this place are the prices but after you order your food they have an entire other price list they do not share so every order has an extra cost to it where I feel ripped off. I don't usually write reviews. I went today and the woman at the counter seriously needs a lesson on customer service. I ordered guacamole and 3 tacos. It was $23, which is surprising especially since prices are not posted. The guacamole was supposed to be 8 ounces, and was in and 8-ounce container, but less than half full for $6.99. It also does not come with chips. I called and she told me with chips it is 9.53, which is $10 with tax. When I mentioned the container was half full, she said, "what is your point?". I said it should be 8-ounces, which is what the receipt said it should be. She replied, "Ok, if you don't want it bring it back and I give you your money back." Not a good solution. It's unfortunate because the food is good. Never again.

I have drive pass this place many times and I finally give them a try. There wasn’t much of line although I have seen lines there in the past. I order the 3 chicken tacos and a beef and cheese taco. So last night we decided to order out and decided to try this food from this food truck. Call us lazy, but we were tired and could've easily either drove or walked to the truck... that is how close we are to their location. Now this truck has been around our area for over several months and have seen a lot people lining up for food. The first time me and my neighbor stopped at the truck, they advised they had to shut down early due to a mechanical issue with the truck and could not serve us any food. Hubby had the California taco special and I had 3 tacos( chicken, pulled pork and steak). Inside the container you get some spicy sauce, a lime wedge and sliced radishes. I was surprised how those 3 tacos filled me up. Now the flavors were banging, and I did experiment with the sauce, which had a big kick to it! 🌶🌶🌶🌶 The pulled pork was very favorable and might be my favorite over both the steak and chicken. Hubby didn't let me get a bite of his tacos, but I did manage to sneak a piece. Yum yum! So if you are in the Parkville are, I highly recommend stopping by. I see why people love this spot. Bye bye to the name brand Mexican food spots.

In September, the cost was $14. When we ordered again on February 14, it had risen to $15. Today, March 21, the price had increased to nearly $20, which surprised us. We politely asked about the price change, but the employee responded rudely, interrupting us and asking repeatedly if we wanted to pay or not. So we had 4 taco platters (3 tacos ur choice, 2 sides (rice, black beans or refried beans) w/ two sauces. ) 1 street corn 1 burrito 1 chicken quesadilla Btw us we had fish, chicken, steak, carne asada, and carnitas… the steak was so/so, everything else was yummy but the fish was by far my FAVORITE! Mom said her chicken burrito was delicious and filling, but a tad spicy. The boychild who “doesn’t” eat cheese enjoyed his chicken quesadilla and loved dunking it in the sour cream. Lol The toddler child loved my rice and beans. The picky teen thought the Elotes was okay ! My only complaint may be that we had to pay for little cups of sour cream. Overall it was a decent meal. This is my second time trying their food and I would definitely come back!

One of the few times I’ve ever felt like I ate a bad taco. Very little meat, meat was dry and lacking flavor and large onions that were not enjoyable to eat. More onions than meat in each of my tacos. Additionally, I came here because online it said 3.50 tacos and $12 platter. In reality, the tacos are 4.50 each and the platter is an outrageous $16. Pictured below. To say the tacos were worth the over $17 they came out to (without a drink or anything else) would be a lie. I’m still hungry.

Baltimore is definitely not your taco emporium city like what you would get out west, but things are looking better over the last year or so. Cholitas is part of that wave of new taco shops starting to pop up around the city. Definitely over priced for what you get, taco wise, but they are tasty. But I guess if the hipster trendy folks keep paying for it, then why not. I would recommend Cholitas for a fairly authenic take on Mexican tacos in a funky/trendy neighborhood food market/eatery mall.

Best fish tacos I've ever had, they are made with fresh rockfish. The sauce makes it perfect.

True Mexican Street food brought to Baltimore amd served up like no other. I'm a taco freak so i always feel right at home with whatever offerings they have. Don't sleep on these guys, they are amazing. They also now have a second location at the Dutch Farmers Market.

The tamales are heavenly! I got the chicken, jalapeño/cheese, and mole tamales and they were so fresh and delicious.

The beans and rice had no seasoning like they just cooked it and put it in the container with no salt .
