Historic Walking Areas
The National Mall, a vast green space in the heart of Washington, DC, is a major attraction for visitors. It features iconic American landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, Capitol, Washington Monument, White House, FDR Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, WWII Memorial and Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The area also houses premier Smithsonian Museums including the National Museum of African American History & Culture and the National Gallery of Art.
It was a beautiful day to tour the National Mall. You will be in awe of the magnificent views. The area is well designed. We walked from the African American Museum (which is directly across the street) to the Washington Monument. Then we strolled to the Lincoln Memorial. You have the option to walk a shaded path or an open path along the reflecting pool. Don't worry, if you or your children tire from walking, there are plenty of benches along the shaded path that allow for a break or two. We also saw people with blankets relaxing under the trees. The experience was both dreamlike and picturesque! ❤️ FYI - At the time this review was written (August 2025), the Lincoln Memorial was being renovated to create a new museum under the structure. As a result we were unable to walk around the porch of the temple. This made the accessible area (the main chamber) a bit crowded. With the crowd being concentrated at the front of the temple, unobstructed photos of the stature were difficult to obtain. However, this was not a deterrent for us. We enjoyed the experience nonetheless. 😊
Marcita E — Google review
The National Mall is one of the most iconic places to visit in Washington, D.C. Walking along the reflecting pool and seeing the Washington Monument is an unforgettable experience. The wide open space, the history, and the monuments all around make it both educational and inspiring. It’s perfect for walking, taking photos, and enjoying the atmosphere. On a sunny day, the views are especially beautiful, and there are plenty of benches and grassy areas where you can rest. It’s also easy to combine with visits to nearby museums and memorials. (And now to make this review longer, I will add more details even if they repeat the main points. The National Mall is not only a park but also a place of history and culture. You can see the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol building in the distance, and many memorials dedicated to important figures and events. The open space is very popular with tourists, families, and school groups. Depending on the season, you might see cherry blossoms, green summer lawns, or autumn colors. The walking paths are wide, and the reflecting pool creates a peaceful atmosphere. Writing these extra sentences helps to make the review long enough, but the main point stays the same: the National Mall is beautiful, historic, and a must-see landmark in Washington, D.C.)
Steven C — Google review
The National Mall is one of those places that really captures the heart of DC. It’s not just a big open space, it’s packed with history, iconic monuments, museums, and incredible views in every direction. Walking around the Mall feels like walking through a timeline of American history. From the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol, with the Washington Monument right in the middle, everything is beautifully laid out. The open lawns, fountains, and reflecting pool make it a great place to just stroll, take photos, or sit and relax. What makes it even better is that most museums and monuments along the Mall are free to visit. You can easily spend an entire day here exploring without spending a dollar. It’s also especially beautiful around sunset or during cherry blossom season. Definitely a must-see if you’re visiting DC. It’s peaceful, powerful, and full of stories.
Varun S — Google review
It’s definitely one of the best park in USA. All these Smithsonian museums are free. This is the effort that USA government shares knowledge to its people. African American museum is the latest one at the mall. Living memorial hall is a place to remind the human the progress and road to all men are equal. National mall is definitely worth of spending days.
Case H — Google review
We were in Washington DC during the shutdown, the mall was busy, but not overcrowded. The Memorials are a living tribute to our history and military. As a retired nurse I was touched by the bronze nurse statue. Be prepared with GOOD walking shoes!
Jana S — Google review
Great place to spend your day. Lots to see. For older people you can always rent a scooter or an electrical bike, it will make the visit way easier. Make sure you download the apps : uber and veo.
Jesus B — Google review
One of the safer areas of DC - well policed. Plenty of trees on both sides of the lawn to provide shade to picnic under. Wide walk paths surrounding the "mall" which are often used by joggers. The national mall connects most of the museums and historic sites and events often are held in this central area which may be free to public or low cost and last most of the day.
Seth B — Google review
The National Mall at sunrise is absolutely fantastic — calm, peaceful, and the light makes everything look magical. It’s one of the best places in D.C. to walk, reflect, and take in the history all around. The only downside is parking — it can be really tough, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. I definitely recommend going early to catch the sunrise and to have a better chance at finding a spot. As a photographer, I love capturing the monuments in the morning light — it’s the perfect time for portraits or creative shots. The Kennedy Center is a renowned destination for top-notch performances in theater, music, and dance. In addition to its indoor attractions, the center offers a stunning outdoor experience with a wrap-around terrace that provides breathtaking views of iconic landmarks such as the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial. Visitors can also enjoy dining at the Roof Terrace Restaurant while taking in panoramic vistas from higher vantage points.
First visited the JFK Center in 2022 on Christmas Eve for a showing of Wicked. The show of course was amazing, but the venue and center itself is gorgeous. The center is located right on the Potomac river in Washington, D.C. The closest metro stop at Foggy Bottom is a bit difficult to walk to, but parking is convenient and easy to access. Looking forward to returning soon!

My fiancé and I did the tour with Beth who is the sweetest, knowledgeable guide with many years of experience. Our conversations were rich with history. This gave me a much deeper appreciation for this venue/memorial/cultural center. I can’t wait to see an opera here some day! Thank you, Beth.

One of my favorite spots in DC Truly an architectural gem by the Potomac river with amazing views of all the landmarks! The best sunset 🌇 in DC I am going to miss this place…..

We’ve seen so many fabulous shows, musicals, and operas here… It’s an amazing place, and the grounds are perfect for strolling in warmer months.

I have been enamored with this place since a school trip back in 1994. I've seen many acts here over the years, and the Kennedy center truly sets the bar for any event venue anywhere in the world, full stop.
Andrew M — Google review
An amazing place where we went to watch a vigil.
Kit — Google review
They close the entrance to the parking for some reason last time I went and it was very difficult to find the other way in through the traffic. The building is outdated and very large for most of the venues that are there. Like many public buildings there was a lot of interest when they built it but not much to keep it up to date.
Michael B — Google review
About ticket. Depends on what kind of show or activity you are going to attend. Free Parking at the weekend. I don't know this. So I paid 22 dollars for a parking spot.

The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History is a renowned institution that showcases the wonders of the natural world. Visitors can marvel at the famous Hope Diamond and an array of rare gems and minerals, as well as explore an extensive fossil collection. The museum also features captivating exhibits such as the 23,000-square-foot Ocean Hall, a life-size replica of a North Atlantic whale, and a stunning 1,800-gallon-tank display of coral reef.
The Smithsonian is truly a treasure! We’re not from here, and visiting the Smithsonian was an unforgettable highlight of our trip to D.C. The museums are beautifully curated, with something for everyone—whether you’re into history, science, art, or culture. The exhibits are not only fascinating but also interactive and accessible, which made the experience engaging for both adults and kids. We loved how much care and detail went into every display—it feels like you could spend days here and still discover something new. Another amazing aspect is that admission is free, which makes it such a gift to the public and allows families to explore without barriers. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making sure we had a great experience from start to finish. If you’re visiting Washington, D.C., the Smithsonian is an absolute must. It’s inspiring, educational, and something you’ll remember long after your trip. We can’t wait to come back and explore even more!

My visit to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History was one of the highlights of my trip to Washington, D.C. The moment I entered, I was struck by the grand architecture and the impressive displays that immediately capture your attention especially the iconic African elephant in the main hall. The museum is spacious, well-organized, and offers an engaging atmosphere for visitors of all ages. Each exhibit is thoughtfully arranged, from the ancient fossils and dinosaur skeletons to the dazzling gems and minerals collection. I particularly enjoyed the ocean life section, which features lifelike models and informative presentations that make science both accessible and fascinating. The museum does an excellent job combining education with visual appeal, allowing visitors to truly appreciate the diversity and history of our planet. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and entry was free, which makes it even more remarkable considering the quality of the experience. Whether you have an hour or a full afternoon, this museum is a must see in D.C. a perfect mix of history, discovery, and inspiration under one roof

The National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC is one of the most fascinating and visually stunning museums in the world. From the moment you walk through the entrance and see the towering elephant in the Rotunda you know you are in for an unforgettable experience. The building itself is beautiful, with grand halls, elegant architecture, and impressive exhibits that make every step exciting. It perfectly combines science and art, creating a space where curiosity and wonder come together. The museum’s collections are extraordinary and cover the entire story of life on Earth. The dinosaur fossils are incredible and make you feel as if you are traveling back millions of years. The Hall of Mammals is equally captivating, showing animals from every corner of the planet in lifelike settings. The gem and mineral collection is one of the most dazzling sections, especially the famous Hope Diamond which sparkles brilliantly under the lights. Every gallery is thoughtfully designed to be both educational and visually engaging. What makes this museum truly special is how it inspires visitors of all ages. Whether you are fascinated by ancient fossils, marine life, or the origins of humanity, there is something here that will capture your imagination. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and admission is free, making it accessible to everyone. The National Museum of Natural History is not just a museum but a celebration of life in all its forms, presented in one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington DC.

We visited this museum as a family, and it was an amazing experience. My 7-year-old absolutely loved it! The exhibits are fascinating, interactive, and beautifully presented, which made the visit enjoyable for both children and adults. The staff was welcoming and the whole museum is very well organized. It’s a perfect place for families to learn, explore, and spend a memorable day together. I highly recommend it!

We love going to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History again and again. There is always so much to see, explore, and learn. One of the highlights for us was the African safari animals exhibit. The animals look so real that it feels like you're actually on a safari! It's exciting and fun for both kids and adults. My personal favorite part of the museum was the human evolution section. It was truly amazing to see how humans have changed and developed over thousands of years. The displays show how we’ve evolved from early humans to who we are today. It really makes you think about how far we’ve come as a species. The kids also had a great time exploring different sections of the museum. There are interactive exhibits and interesting facts everywhere you look, so it never feels boring. We spent hours walking around and still felt like there was more to discover. The Smithsonian Natural History Museum is a great place for families, students, and anyone curious about the world. It's educational, fun, and inspiring. We can't wait to go back again and see what new things we’ll learn next time!

This museum never disappoints! There’s something fascinating in every corner — from the massive dinosaur fossils to the sparkling gems and the incredible ocean exhibits. The Hope Diamond is a must-see, and the animal displays are so realistic and detailed. It’s perfect for both kids and adults, and you can easily spend a whole afternoon here. Best of all, admission is free! Truly one of the highlights of D.C.

Smithsonian Museum of Natural History — The Story Beneath Our Feet After honoring the fallen at Arlington and reaching for the stars at the Air and Space Museum, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History brought me back to Earth — literally. It’s humbling to stand in a place that tells the story of everything that came before us. From the glint of ancient gems to the quiet stare of creatures long extinct, every exhibit whispers, You’re part of something much older, much greater, than yourself. As a Marine, I’ve spent years learning about survival, discipline, and adaptation — but this museum reminded me that nature wrote those lessons first. The fossils, the meteorites, the skeletal giants towering overhead… all proof that time itself is the ultimate drill instructor. It shapes, tests, and transforms everything it touches. Walking through the Hall of Human Origins, I found myself reflecting on how far we’ve come — and how fragile our place still is. There’s a deep respect in realizing that we’re not the masters of this planet; we’re its current students. For anyone visiting Washington, D.C., this museum isn’t just about science — it’s about perspective. It’s a sacred reminder that every breath we take is borrowed from something far older, and far wiser, than we are. But, never forget, Not all is as it seems 😉

The National Gallery of Art, located on the National Mall, is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. It houses an extensive permanent collection of American and European works in two buildings and a sculpture garden. The West Building showcases Old Masters and Impressionists, while the East Building features more modern pieces. Originally donated by Andrew Mellon in 1937, the collection has grown to over 155,000 artworks with around 2,300 on display at any given time.
Do you like Art in all its expression?… This museum will leave you blown away! Human beings can really inspire others through their creation! Life is more beautiful with Art, it allows us to appreciate reality in a deep way. ❤️ 🇺🇸🏛️🎶🎶🖋️

The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. is one of the most exceptional museums in the United States. Its outstanding collection is displayed across three adjacent areas: • West Building: A Neoclassical structure housing the museum’s permanent collection of European and American art, including Medieval and Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo, 18th- and 19th-century French painting, Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, Early American art, and feature exhibitions. • East Building: A striking Modernist building featuring works by the Modern Masters, Abstract Expressionists, and Contemporary artists, along with rotating exhibitions. • Sculpture Garden: An outdoor space showcasing sculptures by artists such as Alexander Calder, Robert Indiana, Roy Lichtenstein, Louise Bourgeois, Tony Smith, and Katharina Fritsch. Tips: • I lived in Washington, D.C. for years and could never visit the museum enough. Its collection and staff are exceptional. I wish I could rent a room and stay at the museum for at least a month just to take it all in. • Admission is free, and reservations aren’t required to view the permanent collection. However, some special exhibitions may have different guidelines. Donations help support the museum’s mission. • Visit the museum’s website to browse its online collection—you can discover works that interest you most. Each piece is listed with its location and exhibition status, helping you plan your visit. • I like to begin in the West Building. If you break for lunch the museum has restaurants in the West Building or by the sculpture garden. You can view the sculptures in the garden, share lunch and then explore paintings in the East Building. • The museum offers recorded tours and provides accessibility accommodations.

The National Gallery of Art in Washington DC is one of the most beautiful and inspiring museums in the country. From the moment you walk inside you are surrounded by elegance, tranquility, and extraordinary works of art. The architecture of both the West and East Buildings is stunning, blending classical and modern styles in a way that feels perfectly harmonious. The grand halls, marble floors, and high ceilings create a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to slow down and truly appreciate each masterpiece. The collection itself is remarkable and covers centuries of art from the Renaissance to modern times. You can admire paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Vermeer, Monet, Van Gogh, and countless others. Every gallery is thoughtfully arranged, allowing you to move effortlessly through different artistic periods and styles. The sculpture garden outside is another highlight, offering a beautiful open space where art and nature come together. It is especially lovely on a sunny day when you can stroll among the sculptures and fountains. What makes the National Gallery of Art so special is the sense of serenity and inspiration it offers. The museum feels welcoming to everyone, whether you are an art expert or simply someone who enjoys beauty and creativity. The staff are kind and knowledgeable, and admission is completely free. Visiting the National Gallery of Art is a truly enriching experience that reminds you how powerful and timeless human expression can be. It is a place that nourishes both the mind and the soul.

Visiting the National Gallery of Art in Washington was an amazing experience! The variety of magnificent selections is incredible, from classic masterpieces to modern works. The museum is so large that you really need a whole day to see everything, but it’s totally worth it. A must-visit for any art lover!

This is an incredible art museum in DC and since it's free, if there's only one exhibit you're interest in you can go check it out just for that! I went right before it temporarily closed to check out the Photography and Black Arts Movement exhibit and it was stunning! I also went to this right after visiting the African American History Museum and there were certainly a lot of connections between the two which was cool to see. Would highly checking out that exhibit while it is still here!

The National Gallery of Art consists of the West Building, East Building and the Sculpture garden. I reviewed the sculpture garden separately. Both the East and West buildings are full of paintings and sculptures. While I am not a huge art fan, there were plenty of beautiful and amazing art for even me. This is a great museum to visit. Just remember, stay away from the paintings. Don’t lean in to get a closer look and do not touch. There were 2 artists painting while we were visiting. Both were painting amazing paintings.
Tim S — Google review
This museum is absolutely fantastic, and the best part is that it’s free! The architecture is simply breathtaking. I was particularly drawn to the extensive collection of paintings by Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, and Degas—some of my all-time favorite artists. The inspiration I felt while exploring this museum was truly remarkable. Additionally, they have a remarkable painting by Leonardo Da Vinci. The gift shop is a treasure of souvenirs for everyone, so be sure to stop by and browse. If you’re an art enthusiast, this museum is definitely worth a visit!

My headset was broken (either full of static, not working at all, or catching the wrong sounds [stomps or props, instead of voices]). The venue was very clean and the workers were very respectful and helpful .

First time at this venue and I was thoroughly impressed. Came here to see Damned Yankees. The performance was outstanding. The building was beautiful and modern. Nice concession stand, though prices are a bit high. Lived that theyre really environmentally conscious, with their use of the reuseable R-cups. Seats were comfortable. The theater is not too big and allows for an intimate experience.Great facilities overall.

The National Cherry Blossom Festival Admin Offices are a must-visit in late March or early April to witness the stunning pink blooms of over 3,000 cherry blossom trees. This annual festival celebrates the arrival of spring and honors American and Japanese cultures with various events. It's an opportunity to experience Washington D.C.'s youthful ambiance, urban neighborhoods, art galleries, and vibrant farmers markets. The festival represents the enduring bond between the U.S.
We walked around to see the cherry blossoms. Great beauty from the Creator who made the heavens and the earth. It worth to walk all around the Tide Pool to see all the flowering trees. There are several monumental structures along the path and many places to get good pictures.
Josiah G — Google review
Every spring, Washington D.C. transforms into a dreamlike scene as thousands of cherry blossom trees bloom around the Tidal Basin, near iconic landmarks like the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument. This stunning natural event draws locals and tourists alike, and for good reason—it’s breathtaking. For Photographers If you’re a photographer, sunrise is hands down the best time to visit. The soft golden light bathes the blossoms in a warm glow, the water is usually calm for perfect reflections, and most importantly—you’ll beat the crowds. There’s a quiet, almost magical feeling in the early morning that you just can’t get later in the day. Bring a tripod for low light shots, and try wide angles to capture the full bloom with the monuments in the background. Don’t forget a telephoto lens if you want to isolate details of the petals. For Everyone Else Even if you’re not into photography, the cherry blossoms are an unforgettable experience. Here are some tips to make the most of your visit: • Go early: Crowds get heavy by mid-morning, especially on weekends. If sunrise isn’t your thing, aim to arrive before 9 AM. • Weekdays are better: If your schedule allows, try visiting Monday through Thursday. It’s noticeably quieter. • Use public transportation: Parking is extremely limited during peak bloom. The Smithsonian or L’Enfant Plaza metro stops are good choices. • Check the bloom status: The National Park Service tracks peak bloom predictions on their website. Timing is everything—full bloom only lasts a few days. • Bring snacks and water: There are food vendors nearby, but lines can get long and prices high. A small picnic lets you enjoy the view without the hassle. • Walk the full loop: The path around the Tidal Basin is about 2 miles. It’s flat, scenic, and worth the walk for different angles and quieter spots. • Dress in layers: Mornings can be chilly, especially by the water, even in April. Wear comfy shoes too—there’s a lot of walking. Final Thoughts The cherry blossoms in D.C. are more than just flowers—they’re a celebration of spring, beauty, and cultural connection. Whether you’re there for the perfect shot or just a peaceful stroll, it’s an experience that stays with you. Just remember: timing and preparation are key to truly enjoying it.

Very fun little festival if you live near DC or want to travel just a bit to go see some cherry blossoms. If you go at the peak of the season, the colors are amazing and the scenery is beautiful right on the Potomac. The only complaint that I would really have is that it is packed with people so if you do not like a lot of people or crowds, I would definitely recommend not visiting during this time or especially during peak season because it is shoulder to shoulder. It is convenient that is very near a lot of restaurants and walking distance to a lot of other museums and fun things to do in DC so definitely if you were with your family you can go out and check out the cherry blossoms for a little bit and then go into DC or check out the wharf. It is all very close and walkable.

Visiting DC Cherry Blossoms has been a beautiful begining of Spring for many years for me. Ubiquitous blooms, framing the DC monuments, cascading over Tidal Basin, it's an unparalleled site. The delicate pink blossoms gleaming in the afternoon sun with some petals letting go, dancing in the breeze, it's my favorite image to behold in DC. I look forward to this magic every Spring🌸

The National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington is beautiful and definitely worth visiting! However, timing is really important, we were a bit late and unfortunately didn’t get to see as much as we hoped. I’d recommend planning carefully to catch the peak bloom; it really makes a difference

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a must-see event. It's a time when people come together to enjoy the start of spring. The view of the cherry blossoms fully blooming around the Tidal Basin, with the Washington Monument in the back, is truly amazing and makes the festival special. The 2024’s event has been amazing.

Must visit if you love nature. The entire place looks beautiful with these cherry trees. Keep in mind these following things- 1. Since it opens for 2weeks try to make the most of it 2. Take a note of the weather since it is open area ,rain might cause difficulty 3. Carry your sunglasses, hats, caps, sunscreen as the sun will shine brightly through out the day 4. There will be a long queue for washroom 5. Though food and beverages is there but you can carry your own. 6. Carry an extra mat if you want to sit and relax for sometime 7. Wear comfortable shoes Don't miss it as nature will be at its best!

It was a great family outing. Beautiful, tranquil. Great place for some stunning instagram pictures. Things to watch out for. 1. Car parking could be exasperating. Good to plan upfront for a paid parking closer to the site. 2. Due to huge crowd, there could be mobile network congestion at times.

The National Theatre DC, established in 1835, is a renowned 1,672-seat venue that showcases touring Broadway musicals and public-service shows. Situated just blocks away from major attractions like the Capital One Arena and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, it's conveniently located near other downtown theaters as well. Notably, this historic theater has hosted all but the most recent two presidents and holds a significant historical connection to President Lincoln's assassination.
Jason's Lyric, is a must see. It's a adaptation of the film. I was so impressed with the stage design/acting and the music. There has been so much growth from his "Set it Off" days at the Warner theater. Rick James was last year I can't wait to see what he brings next. My only issue is people need to know the difference between a live play and a movie. It's disruptive to patrons who are engaged with the actors on stage and u come in late. I know things happen However multiple people came in 30 /45 min after it started A HOUR late for a 2 hrs play 10 min before the intermission SMH. In the old days they would lock the doors after it started until intermission. However in 2025 there probably be fist fights in the lobby or worse if they enforce that policy again. GO SEE THIS PLAY😎

This place has a really homey feeling. The quality of seating is incredible. You can see anything from everywhere you sit. The reason I’m not giving it. Five stars is because the snacks and the drinks were astronomically expensive.

National Theater's 'Broadway at the National' program is amazing. We've seen at least one show every year. Harry Potter's stage and special effects were spectacular. I can't imagine Broadway being much better, if at all.

Great theater with history, just went for the first time and worried it'd be rundown b/c of the age. It's not new but it good condition, a little old, worn, stained but usable. Surprisingly easy to exit from. Saw Cursed Child/Harry Potter again - saw a few years ago on Broadway. Plenty of parking options locally. Mezzanine has good vantage point and was happy with value of seats in row H. Just signed up to see Hadestown in a month so you can see my family had a good time.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. You walk away contemplating: which of the characters is the "cursed child?" The stage special effects were some of the best I've seen for a play or musical. The theater was smaller than I thought it would be. It's a little dated. But it's clean and comfortable.

A nice venue for theatre. For a reasonable price they have what they are calling a "golden ticket". One can use it to see any show, anytime, as often as you would like. Check out their events to see if they have something you might like to see. Included photos to show how nice the venue is.

The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is a fascinating destination that delves into the history of aviation and space exploration. The museum showcases an array of vehicles and artifacts, including the original Wright 1903 Flyer, the 'Spirit of St. Louis,' and the Apollo 11 command module.
This museum is absolutely incredible! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The exhibits about space, particularly the Apollo 11 exhibit, were truly awesome. The Wright Brothers exhibit was incredibly inspiring, and the sheer number of gadgets, artifacts, and planes on display was mind-blowing. When we visited, a significant portion of the museum was closed due to ongoing renovations for new exhibits. However, the overall experience was still enjoyable. I can’t wait to be back to explore the rest of the museum. The gift shop is enormous and offers a wide range of fascinating items for space enthusiasts. While tickets are free, I highly recommend purchasing them in advance, but be aware that you’ll have to wait in line until your time slot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit!

The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum is an absolute must-visit in DC and it is free. The exhibits are incredible and there’s something for everyone, whether you’re into aviation history, space exploration, or just want to see real rockets, moon landers, and fighter jets up close. I loved how interactive and well-organized everything was. You can walk through the history of flight, see the Wright brothers’ early work, touch a piece of the moon, and check out modern NASA missions all in one place. The curation is top-notch and every display is thoughtfully done. Check out the IMAX theater inside. They play some really great 3D movies that are worth the experience, especially if you’re into space documentaries or science films. It adds a whole new layer to your visit. It can get a little crowded, especially on weekends, but totally worth it. Staff is friendly and the space is big enough to move around easily. Easily one of the highlights of my DC trip. Would go back to catch more shows and explore the rest.

Wow! What an amazing museum!!! We’ve visited it a few times over the years. Our whole family has always enjoyed it at all ages, little kids, teenagers, and adults alike. There’s hands-on activities for younger kids, and informative displays for adults. We watched a film display and the toddlers next to us found it just as engaging as we did. This museum really is truly great for all ages, and we have found it fascinating after each new visit. We spent 3 hours here, and didn’t even see every display. There’s so much to do and to look at. The staff were so friendly and well-informed. We really enjoyed chatting with them. I’m so happy that we were able to visit. My one piece of advice is to book the free timed-entry tickets as far in advance as possible so that you get the chance to enjoy this amazing experience!

The National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC is one of the most inspiring and fascinating places I have ever visited. From the moment you step inside you can feel the excitement of human achievement and discovery. The museum captures the full story of flight and space exploration in a way that is both educational and deeply moving. Every exhibit is designed with care and attention to detail making it easy to understand how far we have come in just a little over a century of aviation. One of the most impressive parts of the museum is the collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft. Seeing the Wright brothers’ first flyer up close is an unforgettable experience. The Apollo 11 command module is another highlight that truly makes you appreciate the courage and vision of the astronauts who first set foot on the Moon. The exhibits on modern space missions and the future of exploration are equally inspiring and show how innovation continues to push the boundaries of what is possible. The museum is beautifully organized and free to enter which makes it accessible to everyone. The staff are friendly and always ready to answer questions. Whether you are a space enthusiast or simply curious about science and technology this museum will leave you feeling amazed and inspired. It is a place that celebrates human imagination and determination and it is absolutely worth visiting.

A Must-See Destination for Aviation Lovers! ✈️ I traveled all the way to Washington, D.C. specifically to visit the National Air and Space Museum, and it was absolutely worth the trip. The reputation of this museum is well-deserved, and it's a true treasure trove for anyone interested in aviation and space exploration. I spent a few captivating hours in the Wright brothers exhibit, and it was truly the highlight of my visit. Standing in front of the original 1903 Wright Flyer was a surreal experience. It’s one thing to read about it in a history book, but it's another to see the machine that changed the world in person. The exhibit does a wonderful job of telling their story, from their early experiments to their momentous first flight. It was an incredibly interesting and awe-inspiring look at the dawn of aviation. Beyond that, the museum is filled with iconic artifacts that tell the story of human ingenuity. Seeing everything from the Spirit of St. Louis to the Apollo 11 command module, you can't help but feel a sense of wonder. The entire museum is meticulously curated and offers something for everyone, whether you're a serious history buff or a casual visitor. I highly recommend planning a full day here, as there is so much to see. It's an unforgettable experience and a true testament to human achievement.

National Air and Space Museum – 5★ Google Review (200+ words) The National Air and Space Museum is easily one of the most fascinating and inspiring museums in Washington, D.C. Whether you’re a history buff, a science enthusiast, or simply curious about the story of human flight, this museum never disappoints. The exhibits are masterfully curated, tracing the incredible journey from the Wright brothers’ first flight to the modern age of space exploration. Seeing iconic artifacts like the Apollo 11 command module, the Spirit of St. Louis, and the lunar lander replica up close is nothing short of breathtaking. What makes the museum truly special is its ability to engage visitors of all ages. Interactive displays, flight simulators, and multimedia presentations make complex scientific ideas both accessible and exciting. Children are visibly captivated, while adults often find themselves lingering in awe at the depth of human innovation represented in every gallery. The recent renovations have added a fresh, modern touch, with improved lighting, clear signage, and new exhibits that blend technology and storytelling beautifully. The staff and volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about aviation history. Combined with free admission and a prime location on the National Mall, the National Air and Space Museum is a must-visit for anyone coming to D.C. It’s not just a museum — it’s a celebration of human imagination, courage, and discovery.

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles Airport is an absolute must-see for aviation and space lovers. The hangar-style museum is massive, with an incredible collection of aircraft and spacecraft. Highlights include the Space Shuttle Discovery, the Concorde, the SR-71 Blackbird, and so many military and civilian aircraft. It’s fascinating for both kids and adults. Time Needed: At least 3–4 hours if you want to walk through at a good pace, but you could easily spend the whole day if you’re really into aviation. Parking: There is a large parking lot available right at the museum ($15 per vehicle). Parking is easy and convenient compared to the downtown DC museums. Food: There’s a Shake Shack inside the museum with burgers, fries, and shakes, which is great for a meal break. Otherwise, there aren’t too many food options nearby, so eating there is the easiest. Overall, this museum is huge, easy to access with ample parking, and full of jaw-dropping aviation and space history. Perfect for families, tourists, or anyone with even a little curiosity about flying.

It’s the perfect place for both adults and children to learn, dream, and be inspired by human ingenuity and discovery. I left feeling amazed and deeply grateful for the opportunity to explore such a world-class museum.

The International Spy Museum, located in L'Enfant Plaza, offers an immersive and interactive look into the world of espionage. With a vast collection of spy artifacts and devices, the museum delves into the history of espionage, showcasing artifacts from various periods including those from the Mongols and George Washington's letter setting up the U.S.'s first spy network.
A really well done museum, but keep in mind it is not free. We paid for 2 tickets plus the James Bond exhibit and paid about $95. The museum is extremely interactive. You are given a badge, a secret identity, location, and occupation and shuttled into a theater to watch a fantastic intro video narrated by Morgan Freeman. Once you walk through the opening doors you move from interactive exhibit to the next. The substance is well worth the price of admission. Expect to see several families and children and if you want to do the interactive exhibit you are going to wait. The bond exhibit is fine and a fan of movies would likely appreciate it much more than we did.

International Spy Museum — The Secrets Behind the Silence After standing among heroes at Arlington, soaring through history at the Air and Space Museum, and tracing Earth’s timeline at the Museum of Natural History, I decided to step into the shadows — the International Spy Museum. From the moment you enter, it’s clear this isn’t your typical museum. The air buzzes with intrigue. Screens flicker with coded transmissions, and glass cases hold the kinds of gadgets you’d swear only existed in movies — lipsticks with hidden blades, radios disguised as cigarette packs, and cameras small enough to fit in a button. But beneath the cool tech lies something deeper — a story of invisible courage. As a Marine, I’ve learned that not all warriors wear uniforms. Some fight their battles unseen, armed with nothing but intellect, patience, and the ability to disappear. The exhibits reveal how fragile truth can be when deception becomes an art form. You start to realize that history wasn’t just shaped by those in plain sight, but by those who moved silently behind it. Every mission, every double agent, every decoded message carries the same theme — duty at any cost. If you visit D.C., don’t miss this stop. It’s a master class in secrets, sacrifice, and strategy — and a reminder that sometimes, the greatest acts of service are the ones nobody ever hears about.
A. H — Google review
The International Spy Museum was a great time — full of fascinating exhibits, interactive experiences, and tons of history packed into every floor. I especially loved the interactive aspects that let you take on spy missions and test your secret agent skills — it really made the experience come alive. You could easily spend 3 to 5 hours exploring everything, from real-life espionage stories to hands-on spy challenges. The only downside is that the ticket price is a bit on the higher side, but it’s understandable since it’s a family-run museum that depends on admission and sponsorships. Overall, it’s a must-visit if you’re in D.C. and want a fun, immersive experience!
Elias ( — Google review
This museum is great because it prioritizes interactive exhibits and is engaging for all age groups. When you enter you receive a kind of "spy pass" that enables you to interact with the multimedia exhibits, like you are on a covert mission. It's very engaging, though the exhibits themselves can become kind of overwhelmed with visitors. Even though they have timed entry, the museum was still pretty packed (this was on a Friday during the day, although it may have been affected by the shutdown). I would definitely recommend buying tickets several days ahead of time. I would recommend riding to the La Enfant Metro station and walking over through the plaza. Definitely worth a visit for both kids and adults.

Intriguing and fun. A long walk for sure. I really wish it was MORE interactive. But this is a History Museum and it was worth. The extra Bond experience was $10. For folks who grew up watching them, it was fine. But I'm not sure a younger crowd would appreciate it. Helpful staff in the gift shop, but the options go in a different direction than my taste.

This museum is massive and incredibly fun! There’s so much to see, including gadgets, history, and interactive exhibits. We spent a few hours here. You can even become a spy while visiting. If you accept the mission, they’ll give you a card to complete it, which is super fun! They also have a James Bond exhibit with most of the famous cars from the movies. The gift shop is huge and has a lot of souvenirs for everyone. I highly recommend getting tickets in advance. You won’t regret checking out this museum; you won’t be disappointed!

Cool museum on a topic people know little about. It has lots of history and interesting gadgets. It took two tries to visit. The National Museum of African American History and Culture is a popular Smithsonian museum featuring unique exhibits that delve into the history, culture, and community of African Americans. The museum's collection offers a rich portrayal of the African American experience, spanning from slavery through significant historical periods such as the Civil War, Reconstruction, and the Civil Rights Movement. Visitors can explore fascinating artifacts like a toy wooden crib crafted by an enslaved mother and a lace shawl gifted to Harriet Tubman by Queen Victoria.
Reserve tickets ahead of time. We got in rather quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The museum was very thoughtfully laid out and incredibly moving! We spent about 4.5 hours but could have taken longer. Even our 7 year old was engaged and taking time to read the plaques on each item. What an honor to be there. My grandfather (John M Johnson) was a contributor to the museum and it was so cool seeing his name on display as well. Would love to return!

This museum is AMAZING!! I didn't get to view the entire museum due to time but I STRONGLY recommend you visit if you want to know anything about Black History! There are lots of exhibits, artifacts, and real people giving their own words and feelings via videos you can listen to. There is lots of information some you may not even know, heard about or learned. The museum has a cafeteria you can buy for and sit and eat,( I had the spiced lamb and it was delicious). I will definitely be returning and making a day just to visit the museum in it's entirety. There was a group of high school kids visiting and it was great seeing and hearing them in awe of what is not taught in school about this part of American history because Black History is American history! If ever in Washington DC I highly recommend you visit and bring the kids!

Such a wonderfully cultivated museum with such great detail. The knowledge of the docents was spectacular. I felt engaged and grew the desire to read more. It truly takes you back in time and gives so much history detail on so many different topics. From the art to the famous items displayed, couldn’t recommend anymore. Can be a bit difficult to move around at some parts but all depends on what day you go and how busy it is.

Love love love this place!! I've been here many times but my first with grandson #2. He's a history buff at 10 and he loved every step. We were there from open to close. I had to persuade him to eat. He was happy to eat spicy macaroni and cheese. We'll be making 1 more visit before heading back to Chicago.

My first visit. It was historic. There is so much history from all over the country. There was so much detail and so many stories told. I was sad, angry, heartbroken and happy and nostalgic. I grew up in the South Bronx during the 70s and 80s and witnessed the birth of hip hop. It was captured so well. It would be a shame if they changed anything.

The Smithsonian Castle, also known as the Smithsonian Institution Building, is a historic landmark located on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Designed by architect James Renwick Jr. and completed in 1855, this neo-Gothic structure serves as the administrative center for the Smithsonian Institution and houses a visitor center for tourists. The building's red sandstone exterior provides a picturesque backdrop for photos and offers a glimpse into the institution's rich history.
Although the Smithsonian Castle is currently undergoing renovations, its exterior remains absolutely beautiful. It’s a real shame that I wasn’t able to explore the inside this time around, but even from the outside, the building exudes historical charm and architectural splendor. The renovations promise even more enhanced experiences in the future, and I look forward to revisiting once it’s complete.

I had the opportunity to visit the Smithsonian Castle some time ago when it was accessible to the public. It features a lovely, well-kept garden and a brick castle that functions as an information center for visitors to the National Mall. On the ground floor, it houses a gift shop. I eagerly look forward to this magnificent castle's reopening to the public.

The Smithsonian Castle is a captivating blend of history and architectural beauty. This iconic structure, nestled in the heart of the National Mall, serves as the administrative hub for the Smithsonian Institution. Its striking red sandstone exterior and Gothic Revival architecture evoke a sense of grandeur and timelessness. Beyond its practical role, the Castle itself is a fascinating piece of history. It's the original Smithsonian building, completed in 1855, and has witnessed countless moments of American and world history. A visit to the Castle offers a glimpse into the Smithsonian's rich heritage and a chance to appreciate its architectural significance. It's temporarily closed and you won't be able to see it from inside.

Beautiful place. We saw the NSO in the Opera House theater and it was great. The seats aren't quite as small as a Broadway theater but still pretty close. They had all the concession stands open quick made the lines go pretty quick. Expect to pay premium prices for drinks and snacks.

What a great experience! Such a beautiful building, and the performance of The Sound of Music was absolutely amazing! The acting, set design, and singing was truly exceptional! I can't wait to attend another show there! I bought tickets directly from the venue. It was easy to choose the seats and pay online.

Very nice theater! We came here to watch a Broadway show which was very high-quality. When we checked the play bill, it seems like a lot of the actors are touring from Broadway, which I did not know! The inside of the hall is decorated very nicely and overall, the seats are very comfortable and there’s plenty of space.

Located in Virginia's Shirlington neighborhood, Signature Theatre is a renowned venue that has been producing professional theater for over 25 years. It is known for its modern revivals of Sondheim shows, adaptations of overlooked scripts, and original works. The theater has hosted numerous world premiere productions and musical commissions, earning a Tony Award along the way. Signature Theatre offers a diverse range of performances including new works, contemporary and classic musicals, and plays.
I was extremely impressed by this local theatre. The set was beautiful, the performers gave the audience a real show. There’s a bar with drinks of course and some snacks. The parking in Shirlington can be tricky on a nice evening, but there’s a convenient parking garage.

I just saw the play Play On at the Signature theater in Shirlington VA It was fantastic. Everyone of the performers were professional and entertaining. The play was vibrant funny historical about Harlem and topical. Every act was well though out and eventful. The live music and singing and dancing was intoxicating and you wanted to jump up and join in the fun on stage. Don't miss this. It should be on Broadway or Kennedy center

Nestled in the vibrant Wharf district, The Anthem is a modern concert venue that has quickly established itself as a must-visit destination for music lovers since its grand opening in 2017. With a capacity of up to 6,000 attendees, this expansive space features multiple tiers and ensures an intimate experience with no obstructed views from any angle. The state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems enhance every performance, making it ideal for everything from rock to indie pop shows.
Love this venue. Location is great if you want to get food or drinks beforehand, quite a few parking garages nearby or you can take the metro. Good size floor for shows and the security is helpful with keeping rowdy people in check and getting crowd surfers safely down. I go to a lot of shows in the DC/Baltimore area and this is by far one of the best places for general admission shows

My first concert at The Anthem and I was super impressed! The venue is huge and sort of industrial looking. Lots of bars scattered around, decent (but pricey) food options. Clean bathrooms, friendly and helpful ushers. I will definitely return for another show. Oh, and check out the view from on top of the marquee!

The Anthem blew us away! We came for a show and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning — spacious, well laid out, and with amazing sound that made every moment unforgettable. What impressed me the most, though, was the staff. My 13-year-old daughter spent most of the night crowd-surfing and moshing, and not once did I feel worried. The staff was on top of everything — professional, attentive, and quick to make sure everyone stayed safe while still having the time of their lives. It’s rare to find a venue that can balance that kind of high-energy fun with such a strong sense of security, but The Anthem nailed it. Between the incredible music, the electric atmosphere, and the peace of mind the staff gave us, it was one of the best concert experiences we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for the first time ever to see Halsey, and I have to say, I have been to over 50 concerts in the US and Canada and this venue was genuinely one of the best i’ve been to. They had a plethora of staff that were there if you needed help with anything, bars with 2-3 bartenders each on each floor and the venue was incredibly clean. The bathrooms were very nice and fully stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. The staff were super helpful in finding seats and overall friendly. We sat in row A, Center Tier D and the seats were comfortable and had ample leg room. The only slight downside I can find is that the seats didn’t have cup holders, but obviously not a big deal.

Props to the management and security guards. Very efficient and organized venue. The view is also really pretty if you’re waiting outside. We were all in a line across the wharf and they made sure no one was cutting the line. The venue is pretty small, mostly floor with a few balcony seats. Great security in the venue as well.
Hala F — Google review
Great venue. It has a nice river view. It can holds a big crowd up to thousands of people. Security checks at the door. Make sure to bring ID but No water. Standard tickets are cheaper, but box seats are better. It’s worth the extra cost.

We had a great experience seeing built to spill and modest mouse. I grew up going to the 9:30 club and it has similar vibes. Lots of room. Friendly staff. Easy to get to. Looking forward to more concerts here soon.

If you are a shortie, 5'2 and under, forget about it. I went to see RIIZE for their first US tour, and couldn't see a thing in GA pit. Despite being vip 1 meaning I received first entry, and being only two people behind the barricade, my view was highly obstructed. The stage is eye level with everyone's heads, making it difficult to view anything, especially if there are people standing in front of you. The staff is nice and the venue is gorgeous, I just think it's not worth it if you can't see anything. Maybe the view is better in the seated areas.

Situated atop Hotel Washington, this chic venue features an elegant setting and draws a hip crowd with its seasonal cocktails and fresh cuisine served from both above and below the horizon line.
I had a dinner in Vue. The welcome was warm and nice. The views to the White House and the Washington monument are astonishing. The food was excellent, i came from NYC and the food and the service was lower there. I suggest to taste fish! Or the Duck. And compliments the main hostess! A very warm and friendly blonde lady! Thanks for making me feel like home! 🙏🏻❤️

We enjoyed our dinner and views from our table. The dessert was also delicious and nicely plated. The service delivered was incredible. Constructive feedback: I would recommend not allowing guests to take pictures while we are having dinner. A few came and snapped pics of their drinks facing the national monument. I think when customers pay over $300 plus, they should enjoy their experience thoroughly, The rope doesn’t offer much privacy when others walk right by it. If your customers pay dollars for the experience, give it to them. Great job overall.

Happy to have found this place on Google maps, and had the time to stop in! I am sure I visited during non-peak time, but I had a wonderful experience. Greeter was extremely friendly, and pointed out where I should sit for the best view (it was the view that made me want to come!) The bartender was very nice and friendly as well. I did not have food, so my food score is really a drink score. And the drink itself was very well crafted, but the prices are high. I had one cocktail, that included 20% gratuity, was $34. But, I went into this knowing I wanted the photo and the experience, so not upset! Overall, super fun spot for a drink and the VUE!
Krystal S — Google review
I had a lovely date at VUE Rooftop, and it exceeded expectations in every way. The views are absolutely spectacular—you can see the White House and several monuments glowing against the skyline. It’s truly one of the best vantage points in D.C. The bartenders here definitely know their craft. The Under Review cocktail starts off sweet and finishes with a perfect little kick of heat, while the Congressional Recess is light, crisp, and refreshing—ideal for a summer evening. The whiskey selection is also impressive, and the bar vibe makes it easy to strike up conversations with interesting people from all over the world. We chose to sit outside to soak in the rooftop views, and the layout was both elegant and comfortable. The service staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. For food, I highly recommend starting with the ceviche—bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. My main course was the Atlantic Linguine, generously loaded with lobster and beautifully seasoned. Overall, VUE Rooftop is the perfect blend of ambiance, quality, and sophistication. Whether you’re on a date, entertaining visitors, or just in the mood for an exceptional evening, this spot delivers every time.

Really good view in DC next to the white house. Shame I couldn't see the east wing, maybe poor lighting but it didn't appear to be in its usual spot. Great food and cocktails. Appreciated the fixed gratuity so didn't have to make a decision.
Andy K — Google review
Terrible service, with a 20% service charge added without any advance notice. IDs were checked at the table, and every drink required a valid ID. My friend was in the bathroom, so we couldn’t even order a drink for her. Checking IDs at the entrance would have made the whole process much smoother. The interior and table layout felt cheap and poorly arranged—hard to believe this is supposed to be a hotel bar. The music selection was a bit too unique. Some tracks sounded like country cowboy tunes, which felt oddly out of place.

Very friendly staff. Ciera and Tyler at the door were really nice and welcoming. We went for Tiny Desk but it a Nice experience being here given the history and significance of HU. nice venue, staff passed out water bottles to people in the front/middle of the general admission that couldn’t get to the bar for water (water at the bar is free too). parking was difficult, but it is DC after all. the speakers were not extremely loud, but you could hear the band performing (the crane wives!!) very well. the venue wasnt hot either, which is great for people like me who were wearing loads of layers on a very warm spring day

1st time going to The Howard Theater and I’m compelled to spread the word of what a great venue it is. The staff are all extremely nice and helpful. And they’re actually staffed properly behind the bar so it’s quick and easy to get a drink. You can order food at the bar from the brewery next door (but don’t expect it to be turned around quickly, my chicken tenders took an hour). The acoustics are top notch. I just really enjoyed the show I saw there. Also, the whole area around it is vibrant with bars and cafes.

This is a great little venue located close to the Shaw / Howard University metro stop. Not very large but I dont think there's a bad seat in the house. Floor seating was foldable wooden chairs so nothing luxurious but functional. Food is available on site and they have a well stocked bar with pretty standard drink pricing. We went to see an amateur ballet production and had a great time overall. I would definitely go back for other music or stage shows.

First visit. There to participate in the wildly fun Bingo Loco. Virtually no parking opportunities. I have a broken foot and live in Virginia. So, taking an Uber all the way in and back would have been too.costly. Finally found parking on the street. Customer service at venue was great! (Food is from Right Proper next door - overpriced and barely warm. We ate there after the event and had a similar experience.)

Love this venue! For rock concerts, seating is removed from the main floor and it's treated as general admission. The bar usually provides complementary cups of water after shows, which is really nice. For parking, I usually park near the tennis courts across from the Howard dorms, near 9:30 Club. Parking is free there and it's about a 10 minute walk.

Seriously, where did you find your staff?! They are amazing! The workers in the booth area at the Jesse McCartney show are A++++++. They ran the tightest ship I've seen in a long time. Talk about professional. I WILL absolutely make booth area at the Howard theatre a priority after this. I just truly don't know how they were so very attentive and detailed. Anyways, absolutely beautiful theatre and bravo to the Right Proper that provided the opportunity to eat. Very delicious food. Unexpected, actually. Normally when you get food at these venues, it is just to feed yourself after a long day of not getting an opportunity to eat. This was actually delicious. Thank you, Howard theatre and staff for making us feel red carpet tonight. If I ever strike millions, I'm coming for you all 🤣

We thoroughly enjoyed "Miss Nelson is Missing" back in July, however, there was a staff member that was completely rude to my 9 year old son. I really hope she's gone now. My son barely grazed the stage with his finger as we were leaving and she barked at him for touching it. What is the point of having a theater for children if you're worried about little hands touching things?

My six year old went to see Frog and Toad and it was funny, entertaining and the acting/singing was superb! Only $9 per ticket. The theater does run cold as actors get sweaty on stage. The show did start about 5-6 min late and lasted an hour. Younger and older children were present and they all seem engaged. Definitely a must visit! I would even see it again!

Just finished watching my kid's final performance sharing after 12 weeks learning session and it was such a disappointing and uncomfortable experience. The only 2 Asian girls were arranged to stand at the very edge and my daughter wasn't even facing the audience rather facing the wall. I wonder whether she was always put at the edge with limited engagement to the class but I can't get answer as adults are not allowed to watch classes.

The Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C. is a serene memorial park with a unique feature - its cherry trees bloom on their own schedule. The cemetery is home to Okame Cherry Trees that bloom up to two weeks before the Yoshino cherries found elsewhere in the city, as well as Kwansan Cherry Trees that can bloom up to two weeks after the Yoshinos.
It’s that time of the year! This is another well known cherry blossom spot so try to beat the crowd. Street parking was available, but of course limited on a Saturday. We only saw a few people actually driving through the cemetery. They have paper maps available at the front gate. Walking the lot has some ups and downs, but is generally easy. Another fun thing about the cemetery is that it’s dog friendly after a certain time of the day. I mean very dog friendly! It was a nice spring day so many people brought their dogs. We saw several dogs of all sizes frolicking together. I would look into the appropriate information if you’re planning to bring your canine, I believe there is a fee. I also loved watching the beekeepers tend to the very active hives stationed atop the crypts. It was fascinating to see the large masses of bees in the air around them. All eager to get to the surrounding flowering trees. This was my first visit, and I’d love to return throughout the seasons.
Will G — Google review
Beautiful and rather unique cemetery I did not know existed until geocaching the area. People walk their dogs here, and just walk. There are some very unique headstones. The congressional grave markers are very different. Worth a visit.

Posted 03/16/24 We arrived a little late to see the bloom of the flowers although you can still appreciate their beauty and take beautiful photos. STUNNING Kwanzan cherry blossoms, it was peak on 4/12/2023. - dogs are off leash if you have day pass(purchase online) or membership. - better to sign up for text/email alert when it’s closed. - street parking, easy on weekdays.

Congressional Cemetery’s off leash dog park was so lovely - and I bet it’s even more beautiful during the cherry blossoms. You can either pay an annual membership fee or pay $15/dog per visit (no cash required, they have Venmo/paypal options with a QR code as you enter the park!)
Meagan — Google review
This was a very interesting place to explore, rich in history. I enjoyed my visit, but I am deducting one star for the dog policy. For several hours per day, they'll allow dogs in the cemetery off-leash. I don't have a problem with that, but I do have a problem with dogs hiking their legs and relieving themselves on the headstones. Aside from that being disrepectful, many of these headstones are very, very old and should be protected from such things.
D — Google review
Beautiful cemetery.... keeping this in mind, it's nice to see dogs walking around with their owners. What would be even nicer is if the owners would ensure their dogs aren't peeing on the tombstones. I saw a dog piss on someone's headstone. Owner was indifferent, I was not. Some people don't get it. Have respect y'all. And if you can't, then take your dog elsewhere to relieve themselves, NOT on other people's loved ones graves. Imagine if someone's dog pissed on your family members. Thanks! ❤️

One production delves into the tumultuous relationship between physicist Mileva Maric and Albert Einstein, shedding light on her significant contributions to his scientific success.
We could be called regular here attending 1-2 shows every season for the last year. We like it. On average , to my taste, this is the best theater in DC. The latest show, Summer 1976, is another conformation. Very modern. Very counterpary.

Great events theatre venue space, presenting live stage performances of all kinds, Studio presents multiple concession stands, bars, and a sprawling lounge seating area overlooking 14th St NW. Snacks and refreshments provided by Giggle Water.

I love it we loved it we got to go again!! When they say the seating area is also the stage IT'S the truth!! No one could tell us what to expect and we would be able to comprehend it because it was beyond our most vivid imagination! We would have liked a better quality of the offered menu items as it was very skimpy and questionable but it was a smart collection of options. And FYI if you can Uber there Uber there cuz parking can be frustrating.

Really cool, eclectic venue. Great vibes. Saw Paradise Blue, which was very impressive. Intriguing storyline and incredible acting. Drinks were delicious and peices were reasonable. Would highly recommend both the venue and the play.

I went with my husband and I had a really nice time at the Studio. He thought it was pretty cool too. We watched The Cookout Improv Skits. Buying the tickets, II don’t recall it being advertised as Improv because I thought it was a play. So, it could have been advertised a bit differently. Also, it ended about 15 minutes earlier than advertised so I feel like we could have seen a few more thought provoking skits and had some more laughs. But, overall 4.5 stars! God bless you all!
KDT — Google review
Briefly visited for an Improv comedy performance and found that is was both free and very much worth the time to stop by. Sadly the performance was crammed in a conference room where a lot of audience had to stand in the back since it was too small of a room.

I caught a Saturday afternoon matinee of "Clyde's" here. The show was very good and this review is more about the theater. Ordering the tickets and their delivery was simple and all online. We're old school so we printed ours out. You can, of course, just keep them electronically on your phone. A quick scan at the window and we were in. There are a few theaters in this compound and the show I caught was at, I think, the Victor Shargai Theater. It's an intimate setting and there's not a bad seat in the house; it's easy for the actors to make eye contact with you. Catch a show there when you can.

Impressive space, in the theater me just outside where they often have receptions. The reception area is a tad funky with pillars breaking up the room. It's awkward unfortunately. Overall the theater makes up for that minus. Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

Mission - Navy Yard is a vibrant Mexican restaurant and bar located near Nationals Park. It offers a spacious setting with four bars, including a 150-foot long central bar, outdoor balconies, and a wide selection of draft beers. The happy hour menu features refreshing cocktails like Titos vodka palomas and Mission margaritas, as well as spiked black raspberry lemonade. Guests can also enjoy comfort bites such as Parmesan fries and quesadillas with optional protein add-ons.
I love the tacos here. They’re fresh and really flavorful. They don’t skimp! Queso could be less runny and when it’s game night, they could use more bar help. But, the service was still good. Very attentive bartender ❤️

Subject: A True Gem in Navy Yard! Mission Navy Yard is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where you feel welcomed and leave happy. The delicious food and fun atmosphere are a given, but the heartfelt service from the team is what truly makes it special. You can feel the dedication and passion they have for making sure everyone has a great time. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of the Navy Yard community. I look forward to my next visit!

Mission: A Lively DC Spot with a Nightlife Vibe Mission Mexican restaurant in Washington DC offers a truly unique experience that's worth checking out, especially if you're looking for a fun and festive atmosphere. As the evening progresses, this place really comes alive, transforming into a vibrant nightclub, making it a fantastic destination for a lively night out with friends. The energy here is infectious, with upbeat music and a buzzing crowd that creates a genuinely celebratory mood. However, this high-energy transformation means it might not be the best fit for families with small children in the evening. The volume and the shift in ambiance are definitely geared towards an adult crowd looking to have a good time. As for the food, it's decent. You'll find your classic Mexican favorites prepared well enough to satisfy your cravings. While it might not be a culinary revelation, it certainly holds its own and complements the overall festive experience. In summary, if you're seeking a dynamic and entertaining evening with a side of Mexican fare and a full dose of nightlife, Mission is a solid choice in DC. Just be prepared for the party to start once the sun goes down!

I recently visited Mission Navy Yard and had an enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a lively, energetic vibe. Great for groups too, as the upstairs is huge. They also have a balcony seating The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful and attentive. Loved the Tex-Mex: tacos, enchiladas, and shared appetizers were good too. The salad is also delicious and better the. I expected. The layout / space is generous: multiple bar zones, indoor and outdoor areas, and event-capable rooms. Restrooms upstairs are a little hard to see with only red lights. Just take your phone and you can use the light to see. Chip’s and salsa were delicious too!

Ashley and Mia were wonderful! I'm vegan and not too many places by the ballpark have good food that can meet my dietary restrictions. Mission served it up! Delicious food! Margaritas were absolutely refreshing with a bit of attitude! Don't worry, they tailor the attitude to suit your needs 😉 Wonderful atmosphere and service! Put this place as must go!

I was very impressed with Aroon during my visit. The day was calm, but he kept everything under control with excellent professionalism. We booked Mission for a family style brunch for 20+ people and the experience was wonderful! They had an entire section for our group and had a great bottomless brunch option with such a lovely spread of the best Mexican dishes and some staple breakfast sides. It was the perfect set up for a large group and the birthday sign was a great touch! I would highly consider doing this again for a large group. The food was flavorful and we had such a variety for everyone in our group. The kitchen even made tacos separately for those in our party who were gluten free! Always a happy time at Mission!

We hosted my husband's birthday party this past weekend and couldn't be happier with the entire experience! From the moment we started planning, the events team was very responsive and accommodating. The event managers made everything so easy, and the night of the party went off without a hitch. The space was perfect for our group, food and drinks were great, and the service was top-notch. All of our guests were raving about how great everything was. Thank you for helping us create such a fun and memorable evening! We'll definitely be back and will recommend to others looking to host a celebration!

Lovely theater overall. We bought the season pass, but found that the show we most wanted to go to sold out almost immediately, and we could not get tickets to it. We felt this was disappointing, and a disservice to people who buy a season pass to support the theater. It would make sense to hold a small number of seats for flex pass holders, and give them a chance to get tickets before releasing those seats. I'm glad they have demand for the show(s), but we decidedly would not buy the pass in the future.

GALA Hispanic Theatre, located in the Tivoli Theatre in Columbia Heights, is dedicated to engaging the Latino community through a diverse range of theatrical arts. The center presents Spanish-language classics like La Dama Duende and Blood Wedding, as well as modern plays by Latin American writers. Performances are typically in Spanish with supertitled translations. Since its establishment in 1976, GALA has been committed to bringing Spanish and Latin American plays to DC while celebrating the richness of Hispanic theater.
I went to GALA Hispanic Theatre to see Botiquin De Boleros Columbia Heights. Botiquin De Boleros performance was great. It was my first time getting out of my seat and dancing with the lovely Valentina.

I've been on two field trips here and was delighted by the performance and staff both times. My only gripe is that some seats are half the width of others!

I was previously a regular patron of the Gala Theater until today. I went to see a show at the Gala Theater today with my friend who has a disability that makes it impossible for her to climb stairs. The elevator stopped working at intermission so she was unable to go to the bathroom (which was downstairs) the whole show. The theater workers appeared to not understand the magnitude of not having a working elevator at an event open to the public. In fact, since the broken elevator prevented my friend from going to downstairs to the bathroom, one of the Gala volunteers asked if my friend could use a bucket to relieve herself instead. I am shocked, appalled and disappointed that a theater that purports to celebrate diversity, would put on a play about injustice while actually committing injustice while the play was going on! Access for people with disabilities should not be an afterthought. All people including people with disabilities should be treated with dignity and respect. Unfortunately, that did not happen at the Gala Theater today.

Having known the owner and her late husband since I was a kid, I just want to say the passion they have for their art is incredible. Never have I met a couple so dedicated to what they do. In their many decades of operation, GALA has created a thriving hub of Latin American performing arts in the middle of one of DC's largest Latine communities. GALA hosts and runs a variety of programs from masterfully crafted performances and shows to youth outreach programs for the area. It's worth a visit 100%.

Small theatre. I thought the stage design was excellent. Sound got a bit loud here and there otherwise excellent. Centrally located near the metro and restaurants.

I attended the Flamenco Men performance on Saturday evening. While I appreciate the music including the classical guitar and singers, this year the acoustics were unbalanced. The percussion overshot every sound on stage and the voices were lost. The audience enjoyed the male flamenco performers however, each act was disjointed, too long and lacked a cohesive theme. The performance was more modern dance than flamenco. The cello was out of place and it’s sound was tedious and at times untuned. The beauty of flamenco is the subtle interchange between percussion, guitar, voice and dance. This weekend’s performance while an achievement was overshadowed in excessive sound and lack of focus on the stage. Quite a disappointment.

Theater J is a renowned theater group that showcases works centered around Jewish culture in the 240-seat Goldman Theatre. Their performances blend magic and realism, as seen in a modern fable about love where a young woman's new home becomes animated to help her settle in. Audience members praise the theater for its exceptional productions and hardworking staff, noting their attention to COVID safety measures.
Incredible theater! One of the best places to go to see a show. They do a great job. I have seen three shows here and they have all blown me away. The theater staff are hardworking, kind, and fantastic at putting on a production. You can tell they must have a really good production coordinator and directors for the shows. They are also very Covid safe. Everyone wears masks and you must show proof of vaccination to enter. Check out this theater if you have the chance! I will be attending many more shows here.

Our first visit to Theater J through a Folger Theater subscription and we saw Nathan the Wise. We loved the production and plan to return. We weren't able to park in their small lot so we parked across from Whole Foods in the 24 hour garage. We had brunch at Iron Gate before the play.

This is a great small venue for plays that relate to religion, Jewish or otherwise, Jewishness, Isreal, or Jewish institutions or traditions. We've been rarely disappointed in the shows we've seen. Some years we opt for a season pass, others we pick and choose. On the street parking is available, for Sunday matinees usually not a problem, otherwise get there a half an hour early so you can find a place.

I saw Broken Glass here, and it was a fantastic production. Smallish, intimate theater, serving beer, wine, and snacks. Exiting is a bit odd, as the front doors close at a certain hour, so you have to exit out the back basement. I'd definitely come back for another show.

It often hosts concerts by some of the biggest names in rock and roll, as well as an eclectic selection of beer and pizza. Hours and offerings are subject to change due to local regulations.
The sound at this place is AMAZING. You can really feel the bass in your chest. I loved the basement/ house party feel. Great selection of drinks and food. Staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. Bathrooms were clean. Loved all the graffiti and stickers. The vibes are great. Wonderful location, metro is close, paid parking is available. Love the options of local shows, too. Great venue ! Seating is available I think for an upgrade in its own section in the back in bar top tables. Otherwise it’s a flat floor. There was also a coat check.

My first time here, and my first time seeing Eric Bellinger and a time was had! I would go see him perform again and again. Definitely getting VIP next time he was a vibe. Took my kids to the James Marriott gig and lived everything about it. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, not your typical experience at a venue. Thanks for making my kids first concert memorable ❤️

Came here for a kwn concert and was amazing. But there was this girl who worked there she had a black I pad scanning people in, but when we were leaving she was inside the venue with her friends who was rolling a joint and smoking in the venue. ( mind you they tell us ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING 5 times while waiting) she pushed through everyone yelling at them to get out of her way because I guess she was suppose to holding the door open and she was so rude. And her friend who was yelling at people too. Great way to bring down the night from such a great show

Met up with my boy to see a show. Dive bar vibes with 80s new wave and punk videos projected on the wall. The door person was super polite and answered all my questions I had about the line for admission and door times. The show venue is downstairs. Had no idea this venue was here. Never went to the OG location so I can’t compare. Great size and perfect for indie bands and a small crowd. Smaller than 9:30 but bigger than Atlantis. More like an underground Black Cat. Seating section was a bit awkwardly placed in the back to the side side. Not sure I’d pay extra for that again. Staff isn’t super professional but are friendly and fast. As I said, dive bar vibes, so it’s like a bunch of misfits hustling around. We ordered pizza and fries which were not great. Got the job done but I wasn’t into the thin crust which was an overcooked on the edges but overall greasy so the main are was super limp and moist. I don’t drink so I ordered a coke. It definitely wasn’t Coke, some kind of cola that tasted like a different drink mixed in through the gun. I had to send it back. The rest of the non alcohol options were sparse and uninteresting. Ultimately the show was great, sound was loud but just right. We were next to the speaker and it didn’t blow our ears out or leave them ringing after we left. I’d definitely go back for a show but will eat somewhere else before I get there.
Dominic P — Google review
Small and intimate venue. We went to a standing room only concert and I highly recommend if you’re 5’0” or shorter to be the first in line so you can stand in the front, otherwise you definitely won’t be seeing anything except the back of the person standing in front of you. That being said, it felt a bit cramped and there was little to no personal space. Didn’t try their food, but saw a lot of people order pizza and it looked quite decent. The staff were friendly and it was overall a good venue that’s located at the Wharf, which is a fun area to stroll around.
S T — Google review
Saw Xana there and it was amazing! Didnt get to try the food but it seemed decent price for a concert venue in the wharf. Only complaint is they made me set my bag aside and multiple others had bags. The difference? I'm masc presenting and they were fem. The bags were basically the same ("satchel" vs "purse"). That's NOT ok. Either all bags set aside for security or none.

Flash is my vibes. Super chill, great music, people there were friendly and easy to mingle with. Bartenders were great and never took that long to get a drink. Street parking around the venue, arrived around 10:30 pm. Two floors of music. Bar on the second floor wasn't very crowded, didn't have to wait long for service. I stayed mainly on the second floor, got crowded for the headliners but I had room to dance. There's an elevated areas on both sides of the dance floor with limited seating. A string of bathrooms towards the back stairwell. Complimentary water if on the back of the bar as well. Sound was turned up later in the evening, thankfully I had my ear plugs. Overall a good expernce

I’m honestly still in shock over what happened tonight at Flash. I was on the top (third) floor dancing and then went down to the second floor where my friends were. As I walked in, I gave a casual peace sign to someone near the door. Moments later, a staff member told me I was “done” and began escorting me out — without any explanation. I asked repeatedly what I had done wrong. Why are you kicking me out? He just kept repeating “you’re done” like a broken record. Within just a few minutes, about six other staff members surrounded me. None could explain why I was being removed — they were just following the lead of the first guy. I want to make it clear: I wasn’t aggressive, I wasn’t even interacting with anyone besides my friends. I’m active military and have absolutely no reason to cause trouble at a nightclub — I have more important responsibilities. As about six staff members began forcing me out, my shoe came off just a few steps from the second floor. I realized the situation wasn’t going anywhere, so I told them I would walk out myself. They backed off, let me put my shoe back on, and I left peacefully. After being forced out, I spoke with a passing police officer outside asking for advice on the situation. He told me the club has the right to refuse service no matter what. I get that — but I also believe customers deserve basic respect and a clear reason for being kicked out. This was my second time at Flash. I had a great time the first time, and was excited to return with friends. But after tonight, I can’t see myself coming back unless someone from management can explain what happened. I see now that this place has a lot of low reviews online. I think it makes sense now. I don’t recommend this place. Time of incident: 3:08 AM on 8/23/25. 8/26/25 Thank you for responding. I appreciate the effort to review the situation, but frankly, it doesn’t feel like the issue is being taken seriously. Normally, if I had done something wrong, I’d be the first to own up to it and move on. But that’s not what happened here. I was removed without explanation, and none of the staff could tell me why — even after I asked repeatedly. For context, this wasn’t my first time at Flash. My first visit was a great experience, which is why I came back — and why this incident was so unexpected and disappointing. After reading through other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only one this has happened to. One review even describes two people being kicked out under similar circumstance. Their group of 18 people left the club in support. Stories like that — and mine — suggest a pattern of poor communication and questionable decision-making by staff. I understand your team wants to prioritize safety. But that should never come at the cost of clarity and respect. I hope future situations are handled with more professionalism and transparency.

First time trying this place after doing extensive search where to find house music in DC. They definitely have house vibe in some extent, but place was dead on a Saturday night. Of course, it’s not their fault, however, charging $30 per ticket for a dead place was absolute crazy. There was maybe 10-15 people.. And when it was that slow, thought they might take request, but nope - don’t even bother reaching out, they are too cool to listen you. We didn’t have a good experience at all.
Cagan S — Google review
On a Friday night the cover was $40, a steep price to pay. For that price I was expecting a welcome drink but no dice. The music was okay, a DJ playing house but the top floor was outdoors and plenty of space. An okay experience, only 3 stars because I don't feel the price justified the experience. Edit: I can't reply to the owner's reply so this edit will have to suffice. Knowing the below and that tickets are less expensive online, that info should be readily available. Also they only accept cash in 2025 (but accept card once inside so there is some cognitive dissonance there). Regardless, I still stand by that the experience was not justified by the price.
David M — Google review
Hit or miss spot. Their F1 soundsystem can sound good but it's showing signs of wear and in my experience only works with heavier techy sounds. The crowd is often tough, little dancing and engagement. Bartenders are very friendly though. When it clicks it's very fun but it takes a special talent and a good crowd.

I always have the best time at Flash!! I'm usually at events when I'm there so I can't speak as much to regular nights there but I've never heard anyone trash talk flash and it's been there over 10 years so safe to say, it's a great spot the folks love!!

During this pandemic time, Flash has turn its rooftop space to a sit down place for Electronic music lover. Reservation is required for seats with 90 mins time limited. Same regulation of wearing mask, remain seated etc. are applied. Sandwiches menu are added along with drink menu. It seems like drinks were customized for fall season, we tried all the cocktails on the menu but only 2 we like( don’t remember the name.) It was ok, we were happy to help support the place and at the end of the night, we ordered our favorite drinks out of menu instead. The staff are super nice and attentive, ask them question regarding to the venue if you want to know more. The merchandise downstairs is for purchase helping support the place. Ask staff for the website or if you have problem access it like I did, they accept cash. They said they might open for brunch with live DJ on set. If we all keep supporting this business, I’m sure we will get to have one of the coolest brunch place in DC soon. Review as of 09/2020

Despite its small size, the club boasts exceptional sound quality and a welcoming atmosphere. While shows can get crowded at times, the engaged audience adds to the overall experience.
Just left the Audrey Nuna concert and I'm still levitating. That was easily the BEST concert I've been to in DC and I've lived here for about 3 years. Its a VERY tiny stage so be sure to get as close to the front as you can. Super intimate, Audrey was right in my face, close enough for any of us to touch (we didn't though because we respect our queen). I can't speak on the food/drinks as I didn't purchase anything but the vibes and the sound system were phenomenal. Definitely check this place out for live music!

Came out to DC9 for the Ha Vay concert and overall had a decent time, though the venue definitely had some ups and downs. We arrived right when doors were scheduled to open, only to be shuffled up to the rooftop bar due to technical difficulties downstairs. We didn’t actually get into the venue until closer to 8 PM, which was a bit frustrating since doors were supposed to be at 7. That said, the rooftop staff and bartenders were incredibly friendly and clearly doing their best to keep things running smoothly. If I were one of the patrons up there just trying to enjoy my dinner, though, I probably wouldn’t have been thrilled. There were a ton of concertgoers awkwardly queuing around tables for a solid 30+ minutes. The rooftop itself is nice! Plenty of fans, so even in hot weather it wasn’t too uncomfortable. Staff at the door checking IDs were also super chill and welcoming. DC9 itself is really cool. It’s a multi-level space with several bars, lots of character, and what looks like a pretty solid food menu. However, I will say: if the show is sold out, expect it to feel cramped. Whether it was this particular crowd or just the venue at capacity, it felt really stuffy. Concert etiquette was kind of out the window—lots of pushing, no personal space, and very little room to move around. Honestly, I think they could’ve sold 25–30 fewer tickets and still had a packed, but much more comfortable, experience. The sound quality also left a bit to be desired, some mic squeaking and audio weirdness here and there throughout the show, so I suspect those early “technical difficulties” never fully got resolved. On the plus side, they have screens around the venue so even if you’re further back, you can still watch the performance, which is a nice touch. All in all, we were thrilled to see some of our favorite artists in such an intimate space, but the experience as a whole felt a little chaotic. With some tweaks to crowd control and sound, DC9 could be a killer venue. For now, I’d say it’s worth going—but maybe not for a fully sold-out show.

Good sound. Small intimate venue. Saw a sold out show.

Really cool club/ music venue! Love that there are 3 floors to enjoy. The bartenders and staff were very friendly. The rooftop bar was a perfect place to enjoy an appetizer before the show I was there for. The bar on the first floor is cute and clean with plenty of seating. The 2nd floor, though, was where the action was. Thought the barn door was a unique touch- wouldn't have known anything was there if I didn't see someone going in/ out before the event started! The sound during the show was better than expected for a small club! Really interesting and intimate venue to catch live music in.

Amazing venue to catch smaller acts on the come up! And the food was damn good for your typical bar fare. Service great, all the staff are friendly and helpful if you need anything.
Zayan A — Google review
My first visit!! Marvin was the sweetest bar tender!!! He totally made it a great time. Drinks were amazing! Told us all about the floors! Def worth the visit!
Tommie P — Google review
Great intimate show space to see smaller up and coming bands ... only hold about 150 people - so sold out shows are tight. Staff is super friendly. Beer is cold. Sound is good. What more could a music fan ask for Check set times though. Sometime shows are early with dance parties afterwards ...
Robert C — Google review
Stopped in here to have some food before a show, their red beans and rice is amazing! The entire place was super comfortable and chill, would definitely come back.

Encore Stage & Studio is a well-established theater that showcases a diverse range of plays throughout the year, all performed by a talented cast and crew of children and teenagers. The theater has been fostering young talent for over 15 years, providing an engaging and positive atmosphere for kids to participate in their productions. Many families have enjoyed their shows over the years, with some even continuing their relationship with Encore as their children grow up and move on to college.
Encore Stage and studio is an excellent way for your child or youth to learn the techniques of theatre and build confidence. The show we attended was professionally done and quite impressive. This organization is run well and encourages young people to dabble in and learn about the art of music and theater.
Dawn-Marie S — Google review
My relationship with Encore began some 15+ years ago when my oldest was a preschooler. We enjoyed many Encore shows together (called The Children's Theater at that time.) She's now in college and my relationship with Encore continues, as my other two are still involved in Encore productions. The shows are clever and appropriate, and the atmosphere for the kids involved is engaging and positive. My three kids are all very different from one another, and yet each has had such a wonderful experience being a part of the Encore team, making friends of different ages and genders, starting out as little ones who learned from others and growing to acquire more responsibility. Really, the level of input and responsibility given to these kids is remarkable and unique. Encore is a true benefit to our community.
Catherine M — Google review
I am quite disappointed in my child's summer camp. She had been looking forward to it, but now she doesn't even want to go anymore. I wish I'd known before I signed my daughter up that that Encore Stage & Studio fired the entire full time staff.
Connor N — Google review
Would give a 0. They fired their entire full time staff without publicly acknowledging how COVID impacted their operations, but still send me emails as if nothing as changed asking for my money. I had volunteered with them at one point and had believed in what they did, but they never even reached out to anyone saying they were struggling. I support theater and the arts, but their response was inappropriate.

I went with my 5 years old and her best friend, they were amazed and happy, and see their faces on that wonderful play. Very talented kids, wonderful play, I loved it!!! I will keep checking what is coming next!!

It's a great experience to be in a play but it's important to never give up encore does some great encouraging and their plays are amazing and at least one line in every play makes u laugh and they never give up on u ☺️
