Pub
Saxophone Pub & Restaurant, a beloved establishment with over 25 years of history, is a vibrant hangout in Bangkok known for its exceptional live jazz and blues performances. Frequented by both locals and expats, this popular spot features 3-4 different live bands each evening, often including renowned Thai artists like Koh Mr. Saxman and T-Bone Band. Additionally, international musicians occasionally join in for jam sessions.
Nice venue. Helpful staff. Great music. Fantastic food! The place takes credit card. Not sure why some other reviewers experienced otherwise, but as of Aug 19 they take it just fine. The thai food here is notably excellent. Didnt expect them to make it this good!! Great for couples or small groups if you are here for the live music. Larger groups are manageable as well, plenty of tables further from stage.

Overall 4 stars for me. As a music snob and a former singer myself, music here is perfect. Just go there to listen, no talk needed, too loud anyway. Cocktails are cheap but overly sweet. Recommend to just go for live music and beer. Best to go with a date or 4 people max.
Tamruja D — Google review
Great place to chill together with the friends and the Jazz is good. The daught beer both dark and light are must try and the eateries are top notch. Just a little bit expensive, cannot go anytime.

👍🏻 Good atmosphere. So far everything is good and acceptable 🍳 Food is ok but some menu needs improvement. My choice of food is always good but my friends were unsatisfied. 👤 Service depends on each time and waiters. 🚗 Parking is available on the side of the street of in front of the bar. I wouldn’t recommend to drive. Simply take bts or public transportation. 📞 I recommend booking first or call their number. If they don’t pick up, you can assume that they are busy and full as well. However I came here when I’m sure there’ll be a table for so i never have to wait for long.
Primishere — Google review
Went on a Monday night for a saxophone artist. He was really good. Would have enjoyed it more if I was Thai as he sang more than played the saxophone. However, maybe it’s not like that all the time. The service was fast and the selection of drinks and food is amazing.
Moaweya G — Google review
The Saxophone Pub, a must go to venue when in Bangkok, right next to Victory Monument. Really cool vibe. Live music, good food, beer and cocktails. Grab a saxophone mug while you're there. 😁
Phil E — Google review
The live jazz performance was fantastic! The atmosphere, venue, and music were all top-notch. I highly recommend a night out there.
Nath S — Google review
Great atmosphere and service. Mixed feelings over the food. My wife enjoyed her spring rolls, but I didn’t enjoy my shrimps. Didn’t really understand the dish i chose. Got some rice on the side thinking the dish was a stir fry or sauce, but it was very dry, more like a plate of fried food. Menu could be updated. Music was very good, was not jazz however. Overall, good place to go for a drink and listen to some music, but pricey in my opinion.

Pub
The Rock Pub is a well-established nightspot in Bangkok that is famous for its regular live rock music shows and cozy eclectic decor. The restaurant and bar offer an adventurous menu with a fusion of Thai culinary traditions along with influences from neighboring countries like India and China, creating a unique dining experience. The venue has a friendly ambience, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
A classic spot for rock music lovers! I love how they have different themes each night, like Brit rock or tribute nights for various bands. This place has been part of the rock music community for a long time, since 1987. Because of that, you’ll notice a mix of customers, from loyal regulars to older folks on some nights. The crowd might be diverse, but they all share one thing in common—they love rock! The drinks here aren’t exactly cheap, but you’re paying for a great performance and an unforgettable vibe. It’s worth it, and you won’t regret it! The bands that perform here are professional, and some even started their careers in this very venue before going on to become famous.

The Rock Pub Opens daily from 6pm onwards. Live Band usually starts from 10pm onwards. This review is for food only. The food is quite ok compared to the price given. Good to sit along with your mates who love rock n roll music.
Donny B — Google review
The service wasn't up to the standards of the normal Thai welcome that we have received over the last week we have been here. I wanted a certain cocktail but was told that it wasn't available due to lack of ingredients 😕. On a Saturday night every drink on the menu should be available. When we went up to order our second drink, it felt we had disturbed the barman from doing nothing. The live band is what made us stay longer. They were amazing and I would certainly go back to see them again. Maybe the barman will be a little more friendlier next time!!!

Thankfully, there was a concert staff that was practically nonexistent, completely disorganized, overwhelmed, and understaffed. We ordered two dishes, which were served 45 minutes and an hour apart after placing our order. The quality of the food was reasonable considering the price, but the menu was missing quite a few items, both drinks and food. The atmosphere, however, was rather pleasant.
THIERRY S — Google review
I've been here a couple of times. I go on the tribute nights. It's always jammed packed. It's the best time when the bands play a hit song from the past. The audience blasts off and the whole building shakes( not literally). I love it but........they have a rotation for the hit songs. 1 hit song and then around 4 songs that I've and the majority of the audience have never heard of or at least nobodies excited about them. I always end up leaving because I'm bored. 1 hit song followed by a maximum 2 less popular songs might make things a lot better.

Approximately a year ago this bar moved. To be direct the prior location at better seating and more seating. Who knows why the move they could have lost their lease I got there at 10:00 p.m. and there was many people the way to try to get me a seat could not that was not a problem. I stood in the back in order to drink. A double Bacardi and Coke what's $15 which is outrageous in Bangkok. Any bar live band or not. I heard the last two songs the first band and then the first two songs of the second band. They were tied in pretty good but it reminded me of nothing more than a garage band in the US. For a $15 drink I will pass next time.

Thursday night cover band playing songs requests did an awesome job! If you’re a rock / metal fan you should certainly swing by! 🤘🏼

Black Cabin Bar Bangkok offers a unique and moody atmosphere with dark red lighting and taxidermy animals. The bar hosts live music events covering various genres like jazz, soul, blues, and electro, as well as DJ sets featuring vinyl-heavy tracks. Guests can also relax in the leafy garden area. The bar's diverse schedule includes Disney nights, Sunday barbecues, and 80s showdowns for a fun-filled experience.
Absolutely loved the vibe of this place! If you're planning a visit, make sure to book a table in advance; it definitely fills up fast. The ambiance is electric, especially with live performances from some amazing singers, including well-known Thai artists. You'll even spot social media celebrities swinging by! The striking red and black decor really adds to the experience. As for drinks, they start at 300 THB, which is quite reasonable for such a lively spot. One thing to keep in mind is parking—it can be a bit tricky, so you'll likely need to park your car on the side of the road near the mall. But despite that, my overall experience was fantastic! Can't wait to go back!
Anish V — Google review
I came here to experience the Thai nightlife live bar scene. You can check out the lineups for the live band and the genre of music playing for the day on their Facebook page. Reservations for a table are also possible. I got the 9:00 p.m. slot and stayed past 12:00 a.m., managing to see both live bands perform. The vibes were immaculate; the voices were so raw and unique. The cocktails here were also very interesting and full of creativity. The bartender, Daniel, was friendly and very nice to talk to which made the experience even more memorable! The whole environment was very comfortable, and it was so hard for me to leave this bar, even though I was so sleepy from the whole day out. I really enjoyed my experience here and definitely encourage others who love a good music live band bar to come and experience it yourself.
Yi L — Google review
Loved the vibe of this bar! It’s a hidden gem in a secluded area. Many talented musicians gather here, which makes the atmosphere lively. The music system is great. I first discovered this place when I saw RunBabyRun performing at a Decommune event, and learn that the band plays here every Friday 1130pm.
Celine — Google review
Fantastic I loved the mystery of getting in, the ambience was gorgeous. The band was probably the best local band I've seen. The drinks were great and the place was popping. I only ordered drinks, peanuts and fries as I had been out for dinner earlier.
Tessa A — Google review
Thonglor is renowned as the entertainment and dining playground for hi-sos (Bangkok’s rich, entitled, feckless supercar driving brats) - the area has changed so much over the past decade, think gentrification on steroids. But Thonglor is also home to cool, underground-ish music venues and Black Cabin is a must visit if you want a music night out with a difference in Bangkok. So, if you want a change from banging cover bands or anemic acoustic duos, Black Cabin is the place for you. Like its counterpart venue, Speakerbox, just up the road, Black Cabin offers an intimate, very cool, up close to the performer live music experience. The acts are also diverse, covering many genres. From the outside, Black Cabin looks like a normal home, but step into the dark-lit entry and you’re transported to another time and space - a sexy, mysterious, alluring time and space like the Twin Peaks red room. While it’s a trek from my side of town, I will keep an eye out on upcoming gigs because I want to return to Black Cabin soon.
Steve Y — Google review
Entry to this place is quite interesting. Bands coming to play are really great and even the choice of songs are great too. Cocktails are also good. Prices are really high. Seating arrangements are a bit of mess. Very limited food items to order. And the available food items are oily. The smoking area can be improved.
Sanjeet B — Google review
Happy 9th anniversary at the Black Cabin last night! It was our 3rd visit this year and will be back over and over again. They have the best live music I’ve seen in Thailand with amazing food and drinks.

Step into The Iron Fairies Music Bar Bangkok and be transported to a moody and theatrical drinking den. Designed by bar impresario Ashley Sutton, the magical interior is inspired by fairytales with dilapidated chairs, wrought iron staircases, and exposed brick walls. The cocktails are packed with powerful flavors disguised behind fairy-themed references like the Watermelon Daiquiri with Fairy Dust Burnt Marshmallow or the Fairy Wing Fizz.
This is such a highly sold out bar especially because of the way it’s set up ⬆️ I love 💕 the fact that the music 🎼 and the band is set on top of the bar on the second level kinda sunken!! The staff here are amazing they are so ready and helpful and they’re willing to really look 👀 into assisting you in any which way they can!! The servers are friendly and fun!! 🤩 The drinks are very good prices though food actually is served hot and fresh which is cool especially for a bar like that! The decor and the way it’s designed and seated it’s really a very well done venue! I just finished having an event there last night and I wanted to post the photos and every single one of the members that came here last night had a fantastic time!! So thank you to Iron Fairies for such a wonderful evening you made our members feel welcome and appreciated and they also felt the same with all the staff that provided them all the drinks and food!! Unique decor and experience for wide range of cocktails and highballs. Drink choices cater for the British and Japanese as well as Korean palate. Plenty of matured Japanese and Korean ladies here. Sometime also have local thai actors and celebrities. However drinks are quite pricy.
Phillip L — Google review
amazing ume highball-- probably the best one I had in Bangkok. Pricy drinks, in return for the gorgeous bar. I have a fond spot for the Hong Kong location, but the Bangkok one stands out for its second story stage. Unfortunately the bar stools around the stage were incredibly uncomfortable. I ended up standing most of the night.

Adhere The 13th Blue Bar is a small, cozy jazz and blues venue in Bangkok adorned with music memorabilia and vintage furniture. It's known for hosting one of the finest blues bands in the area, creating an intimate and special atmosphere for live music. The bar serves skillfully crafted cocktails that are popular among patrons. Despite its compact size, it's a great place to mingle with fellow travelers while enjoying the authentic soundtrack of blues and jazz.
I didn't eat here, but I enjoyed a great iced tea, and wonderful music

Such a cute little bar with an amazing atmosphere. The performers were great when we were there and the bar itself has a really cool feel to it. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for something different in BKK!
Jordan F — Google review
This bar is such an amazing and lovely vibe. It is small and cozy, filled with character and always full of friendly people. The live blues and jazz are incredible, with talented local and guest musicians who make every performance feel personal and soulful. Seating is limited so it can get crowded, but that only adds to the charm. Drinks are a bit pricey, one small thai beers is around 170, but none of that matters once the music starts. For anyone who loves good vibes and great live music, this place is unforgettable. They have live music everyday from 8 pm till late! Just go there and have a chill lovely and fun evening :)
Earn S — Google review
Very nice cool blues bar at Adhere Khaosan. Acoustic starts at 8.30pm and the bands starts at 10pm. Very casual and relaxing.
Danny L — Google review
I was there for a few beers, but the real show was with the live band. They were fantastic. The music was super. They really performed beautifully
Khalid A — Google review
This is not a bar, it's more of an experience. Run by a couple, whose love for blues and reggae led to Adhere, drop by this place only if you slightly love blues/reggae and wants to be a part of a chilled out house party. On the food, it has a limited menu and a full bar. Infact, it got more beer options than usually available across the city. The place consists of both outdoor (literally the seats are on the pavement) and indoor (air-conditioned). Adhere will truly stay with us and will definitely come back....
Neel B — Google review
Great little blues and jazz bar..could be on the Left Bank Paris...lots of good little places nearby also so good for a walk about Only drawback was the price of a beer ...a lot more expensive than anywhere else in the area...similar to London prices. Also have to agree that the lady taking orders had a laissez-faire attitude to customer service...however definitely worth a visit 😀

Brick Bar is a lively venue located on Khao San Road in Bangkok, known for its vibrant atmosphere and live music. With space for over 1,000 guests, it's a popular spot where locals and travelers come together to enjoy ska and reggae music. The bar offers an authentic Thai partying experience with talented live bands and an energetic crowd that loves to sing along and dance.
A nice place to spend time with your friends if you like live bands. The vibe is immaculate and there's a lot of Thai music and some trendy pop songs during the breaks. I recommend it for people who want to party like a local; it might not be foreigner-friendly, tho.

Lively club bar tucked away off the main street on khao San road. Air conditioning was on and the vibes were great with lots of Thai and some tourists mixed in. Played fun western club music followed by a Thai rock band on the weekend we were there. Must buy a drink as "cover fee".
Shane C — Google review
Fantastic live music venue. Built like a mini amphitheater the brick is unique. Great performers! What a unique way to spend an evening with friends. It’s up close and personal. I’m Canadian. Would only have found out about this place hidden down a small sidestreet lane because of my Vietnamese friend. I make a point of visiting every time I’m in hcm. No cover charge just one drink min I believe.

This is a little bar located behind the busy bar street it was all locals with Thai music such a lovely experience!

Live music available but will be in thai till 9-11 and when other hostels come for pub crawl you can enjoy english music after 11

pretty sure I paid about 400 baht for a beer because I had a day pack on as the muscle whispered to the barmaid in front of me. They thought I was a chump and then a bloke followed me around the venue until I locked eyes with him and he blew his cover with a nervous scatter. I knew I got played with the drink purchase. DON'T COME HERE LOOKING LIKE A TOURIST WITH A BACKPACK. THEY THINK YOU CAN'T COUNT.

Cocktail bar
Tep Bar, located near Potong, is a cultural bar that offers a unique experience in Thailand. The bar specializes in ya dong, an herbal liquor, and uses local fruits and spices to create their drinks. The venue is adorned with traditional Thai decorations and each drink and dish comes with a touch of local culture.
Amazing atmosphere. Definitely one of a kind. Not a lot of bars would play live Thai music like this place. They serve a lot of cool original cocktails and local liqueurs. The appetizers are great but the main dishes are just okay (they're very oily — get to have with alcohol though). The staffs are very helpful with recommendations.

TEP BAR is more than just a bar; it's a Cultural Bar of Thailand located in Bangkok's vibrant Soi Nana (Chinatown area). It offers a truly unique nightlife experience by blending authentic Thai traditions with the craft cocktail scene. 🍾Atmosphere: Rustic Charm Meets Live Thai Music The bar’s decor is styled to evoke the 'Golden Age of Thailand', featuring exposed brick, dim lighting, and antique-looking jars of Yadong (herbal spirits). This gives it a cool, mysterious, and slightly nostalgic vibe. The main attraction is the live Thai traditional music. Talented young musicians play instruments like the ranad (xylophone) and various percussions. Crucially, the music isn't just background noise—it's lively, engaging, and often features Ramwong (Thai folk dancing) tunes that get the crowd tapping their feet or even dancing along. It's an energetic fusion of old-school sound and modern socializing. 🍸Drinks: A Culinary Adventure Your selection perfectly highlights the bar's focus on local Thai ingredients. You skipped the raw shots of Yadong but dove deep into their signature cocktails which skillfully use Thai rice wine (Sato) and other local flavors (Pandan, Plum, herbs). Each drink is a thoughtful creation, offering a complexity of flavor that you won't find at typical international bars. The experience is well worth the premium price tag. Just be sure to book a table in advance as it fills up quickly!

Refreshing bar with a heavy dose of local culture. The drinks are familiar but with a Thai twist with the use of local herbs and liquors. The music is amazing, with live performance of traditional and classic Thai songs.

I am very suggest to make a reservation in advance because there is a small bar and a few tables. I went there with sharing table with strangers people, it is good opportunity to make a new friend but not for me then I asked them to change the table after available. They are prompt to support and friendly. The music was fun I love old Thai song.

Bar
Crimson Room, located on Langsuan, has quickly become a popular spot in Bangkok. The bar offers a luxurious red velvet burlesque lounge with live jazz performances and a Gatsby-esque ambiance. The opulent decor includes crystal chandeliers, globe lights, dark wood dividers, and thick crimson velvet drapes reminiscent of vintage theaters. The seating is arranged stadium-style on three levels with a small stage visible from every seat. The menu features strong cocktails like the Orange Jasmine.
Was the first to arrive before the crowd streamed in so we had an intimate session with the singer and pianist - Puffer and Kim, I believe. Since there were only my wife and I, of course, the opening song was ‘Just the 2 of us”! Great evening, wonderful cosy vibe, creative take on cocktails, and solid performance and entertainment from the duo. Will definitely be back.

The seats are too tight to create the hi-so environment. Maybe is more to bring girlfriends so can sit closer. Music, singer, pianist and sound system is good. Very hungry as no food in this establishment, they do give some small chips but we are really hungry. Can suggest to collaborate with some food establishment to provide some food and you can earn some margin so customers can drink without gastric. Really to dark, slightly more or brighter floor lights might help. Service is prompt but mixer always overpoured, we like our drink stronger and mixer slower. Overall is still a fine experience. Will be back again soon. Hopefully at least with 4-5 dishes. We don't mind you all buy from another restaurant and markup.

Enjoyed a nice evening out with friends. Nice craft cocktails. Entertainment was great. Don't recall the performers but wow the pianist was absolutely amazing and the singer once warmed up was awesome. Recommend for a romantic night out. Service was a little slow but had only 2 servers and they needed more help

[A Hidden Jazz Bar in Bangkok Dripping with Passion, Romance, Mystery, and Luxury — Crimson Room]✨🍷 A glamorous night in Bangkok.
Tucked away beyond the city’s glittering lights—
lies a secret place: Crimson Room. Step inside,
and you're transported straight into the 1920s.
Like walking into a scene from The Great Gatsby. 🥂✨ Antique gold accents,
velvet curtains in a deep, dramatic crimson red.
Soaring ceilings and warm, ambient lighting.
And at the front— a lone standing microphone. The space isn’t large, nor is the stage,
but it’s designed solely for music and stillness,
for listening and lingering. This place never raises its voice.
It doesn’t burn wildly, nor beg to be seen.
It simply seeps in—
softly, elegantly, like silk on bare skin. ✨♥️ On a quiet weekday evening,
a vocalist and pianist guide us through three intimate hours. The singer’s voice —somewhere between jazz and pop—
still young, still blooming. 🌸 Not fully ripened yet,
but within it, you hear the promise of depth.
Emotions not quite reached
float gently beneath each note,
like a quiet foreword to something more. 🎵 The pianist, Kim, plays with clarity and ease.
Maybe it's because I’ve been listening to a lot of jazz piano lately,
but his sound feels especially familiar, comforting. When I mention my love for Bill Evans,
he gifts me an impromptu "Autumn Leaves."
It becomes an unforgettable offering of the night. 🍁🎹 Time slows down.
Sound spreads like velvet.
And night wears its most beautiful shade of red. Just being there is enough—
to feel enchanted, immersed, alive.
A 5,000 baht table,
and somehow… it feels entirely worth it. Crimson.
Here, it’s not just a color.
It’s Passion, Romance, Mystery, Luxury—
all wrapped into one mood, one texture,
and this very night…
mine. 🌙🍷 📝 Just a small note before you go..

1. Table seating requires a minimum spend of 5,000 THB, and advance booking is highly recommended. Bar seats may feel a bit narrow for some, according to reviews, though during my visit, many guests seemed perfectly content there for hours. 2. Performances at Crimson Room feature a different vocalist and musician each night. The mood, the voice, the atmosphere — they may all shift from evening to evening. But perhaps even that unpredictability is part of this place’s quiet allure.
Jaei M — Google review
What a cool location this is. I was lucky enough to see a live show woth a super talented singer with a voice like an angel. It is a great setting nice location however quite high priced. If you want a seat, there is a minimum spend of 1000 THB. Not hatd to reach with the high prices they have. The drinks are just ok (at best). Don’t go there for good drinks.

A jazz coctail bar in Vela Langsuan. Various of signature cocktail. Very good vibes but the seats in some area were too small. There was a refillable snack served. There was a minimum spend required in each zone. Very good live jazz music. High price.

Good Jazz Bar in BKK with good singer. Seating in the corner at the top is very small and un-sitable. Rude and no manner man bartender. I tried to asked for some spirit and he upset about helping. Try to avoit to talk to them and sit quietly in your seat and order with the waiter.

Decorated in NYC-style jazz bar. I really like the decoration. Music was good and free snacks were available and refillable. But cocktails were not that impressive. (I don’t think they put enough alcohol for cocktails that I ordered.) Minimum spend per person is required. (THB1,000 spent per person if sitting in the bar area)

Great food and music as always. We had the ribs and sizzling fajitas and they were amazing. Margaritas are tasty here. The band was so good and very interactive with the guests. The restaurant is fairly new and well-decorated and a nice chic design.. The staff, especially Dome were fantastic and we were very well taken care of.

Straight outta Langley BC and straight into burger paradise! We hit Hard Rock Bangkok like it was the Roxy on a Friday night — hungry, curious, and ready to rock. Our server Tei (Chanachon) was the night’s headliner, serving up smiles smoother than a pint at Dead Frog Brewery. The burgers? Absolute chart-toppers. Juicy, loaded, and cooked so perfectly you’d swear they came off a backyard grill in the Fraser Valley. Fries were crunchy little rockstars that could open for Nickelback — and we mean that in the best possible way. The whole place oozes energy, from the memorabilia to the playlist that kept us vibing harder than a road trip down Glover Road with the windows down. If you’re a Vancouverite abroad and missing a taste of home with a side of attitude, Hard Rock Bangkok will hit you right in the nostalgia. Five stars, zero regrets, full send on flavour.

Came here for a quick lunch as we were staying next door at the Renassiance Hotel. It was 1:15 pm and the place was empty but we were told that we had to finish by 2pm as it had been booked for a private function, which was not an issue. We have walked past here a few times at night when it appeared lively and the band was good. My wife and I ordered a Coke Zero each, BBQ wings, cheesy chips and spicy shrimps. The food came quickly and was tasty for what it was - fast food. Service by our waitress, Beauty, our waitress, was efficient and friendly. Overall, a tasty meal and no surprises.

Step into the world of the prohibition era at Abandoned Mansion, a unique gangster-themed bar and restaurant located in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area. This underground speakeasy captures the essence of the 1920s with its interior and live jazz music performances by local bands every evening. Indulge in a creative selection of cocktails inspired by notorious figures from that time, such as John Dillinger and Al Capone.
Great place for drinks and live music. The band is a mix of jazz 🎺 and pop tunes. The singer is very bubbly and a great entertainer making the audience laugh and engage. Not forgetting she's an amazing singer. The drinks are interesting and showcase names from old time badids of mafia gangs in USA. The drinks were delicious, well crafted and the presentation was unique. The glasses they used are like no other I've seen in order to match the drinks theme and name. If you go in weekends or perhaps almost anytime, make sure to make a reservation as the place gets packed. We were lucky we got to sit at the bar counter with No reservation in advance. However from that vantage point it's hard to see the band as it's right below the stage. The service was courteous and efficient to the amount of customers they cater. Perhaps also cos we were a bit late and most customers already had their drinks, hence no long waits. I'd go back to enjoy drinks and live music.

This bar has a cinema-like atmosphere, with seats almost close together. If you frequently go to the restroom, the person next to you might feel uncomfortable. The bar has beautiful singers who bring life to the place. The drinks are all signature flavors and the decor is fantastic. The food is delicious, and the prices are generally quite high.

Absolutely loved the vibe at Abandoned Mansion BKK! The place is stunning. A mix of vintage elegance and mystery that perfectly fits the name. The drinks were fancy and well-crafted, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was also a live performance with a singer and saxophone, which made the atmosphere even better, classy, fun, and memorable. Perfect spot for a stylish night out in Bangkok!
Kathlyn A — Google review
I’ve been to this bar five times now, and I keep coming back for one reason: the live singer performance is truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere during the show is electric, intimate, and unforgettable. The drinks are another highlight, incredibly creative with eye-catching presentation and a lot of thought put into the details. Unfortunately, the food continues to disappoint. (And over-priced for the quality) My pizza from last night tasted like something from a cheap street market! Definitely not worth the price of 890baht. The bruschetta could’ve been better, it was too dry and seriously with that price I expected something much better. That sad 3 pieces with a price of almost 500baht? Are you kidding me? After several visits, the quality remains mediocre at best. It’s a shame, because with such a strong vibe and drink menu, better food could really elevate the whole experience. Another letdown: some of the waitstaff can be surprisingly arrogant and unfriendly. I understand it’s a trendy, high-end venue, but customer service shouldn’t come with attitude. There’s definitely potential here but unless the food and service improve, it will remain more of a spot for drinks and music than a complete night out.

Wonderful atmosphere 👏 The entertainer, musicians, singers are incredibly talented and having joyful energy. Her happiness delivered to us. Absolutely love the Bangkok Cigar and Bar Lounge! The 1920s theme is classy and cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening. Pearl, our favorite waitress, always makes us feel right at home, and her service is top-notch. I’m obsessed with their Sex on the Beach cocktail, and my husband loves enjoying his cigars there. The Alaskan cake was yummy! A perfect spot for unwinding with great live music.
Jewel R — Google review
We were walk-in guests without a prior reservation and were seated at a table with no view of the performers. We completely understand that guests with reservations are given priority for better seating arrangements. However, we felt that the overall management and service from the staff could have been handled more professionally. The staff did not seem welcoming — there were no smiles, and their attitude appeared rather indifferent. One of the staff members mentioned that we might be moved to a front table around 9:30 PM as part of a seating rotation. We noticed that there were a few vacant tables with a better view, yet there seemed to be no effort made to accommodate us or follow up on that promise. When we later asked if any seats were available for us to move to, we were simply told that all tables were now full. This left us quite disappointed with how the situation was managed. We are jazz lovers and were really looking forward to enjoying the live performance, but the overall experience made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unenjoyable. When we asked for the bill, the staff again showed no smile or courtesy, and their expression appeared unfriendly. This made us feel uneasy and unwelcome. We truly hope that the management will take this feedback into consideration and improve both the service attitude and guest management process in the future. We sincerely wish your establishment continued success and look forward to seeing better service next time.

Step into Foojohn Jazz Club and be transported to a retro Hong Kong diner with warm lighting, vintage mosaic tiles, and carefully positioned mirrors. The hip bistro downstairs serves cold cuts, crepes, and wine while the prohibition era-themed cocktail bar upstairs spotlights French spirits in classic cocktails. This venue impresses serious jazz fans and live music-lovers with spirited shows.
I happened to find Foojohn Jazz Club when a place close by that I was planning to try was packed out. Fortunately for me I could hear the first act warming up (blues guitar) warming up so I went in search of it. The club isn't all that obvious since the door is a few metres down a small side street and is not very well lit, though maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough. The club is really quite small. I'd guess there is seating for 50 or 60 people including about six at the bar. I was there early(ish) so it was quite empty but by the time the opening act was done it was almost full and given it was a Saturday night you kinda expect it will be. The place has a happy vibe and everyone appreciated the music, with good reason too as both the solo blues guitarist and the follow up four piece band were pretty good. I'm not sure someone looking for 'real' jazz would be satisfied but for me the performances were great on a Saturday night in a quiet corner of Bangkok. And what is a Jazz Club without cocktails? (A pub, but that's beside the point 😉). The cocktails at Foojohn were really good. I tried a couple and because I was seated at the bar I got to watch the barman at work so I can attest to the fact that the range is impressive and I didn't see any complaints. (As a bit of a Negroni snob these days my only suggestion would be for Foojohn to invest in a better red vermouth - but I'm not complaining, I had two and they were definitely up to scratch). So yeah, if you're looking for a bit of jazz while you're in Bangkok Foojohn is worth a look. Don't be surprised if you stay until closing - I was.

5 Stars – Blown Away Scenes reminiscent of Whiplash, as I sit back in total bewilderment, listening to Ms. Melanie 'Babydoll' Wallace’s velvety, soothing voice saturate the room. My mind shifts between the hypnotic vocals and the jazz duel unfolding between percussionists—keys and sticks in passionate conversation. Only jazz connoisseurs fill the room, and we are meditating in unison, elevated by the glory unfolding on stage. The cocktail mixologist delivers a perfect Long Tall Island Gin—lime-forward and a spectacle for the tastebuds. Applause erupts at the close of each number, followed by the soft rhythm of fingers snapping to usher in the next. Five stars for quality, ambience, mood, vibe, and an everlasting impression. Babydoll and tight knit jazz trio deserve a worthier audience-infinitely thanking you 🙏

Cozy hidden bar for true jazz lovers A small, warm bar tucked away on the second floor — a bit hard to find but absolutely worth it. The cocktails were decent, though not particularly memorable. The real highlight here is the live jazz music — energetic, tight, and truly enjoyable. Surprisingly, the pizza was fantastic and a must-try! If you’re into jazz, this place is a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss. Highly recommended for a chill night with great music and a laid-back vibe.

Lounge
The Bamboo Bar, situated in the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Bangkok, is a renowned establishment that has been serving guests since 1953. It is known for its exceptional cocktails and regular live jazz and blues performances. The bar underwent a renovation in late 2014, giving it a stylish look with leopard- and zebra-print cushions and cane furniture. Over the years, it has welcomed legendary musicians such as Ray Charles, Duke Ellington, Dionne Warwick, Louis Armstrong, and Mick Jagger.
I had the pleasure of visiting the bar, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The ambiance is posh and elegant, with a timeless, classy interior that immediately sets the tone for a refined evening. The cocktail presentation was exceptional - visually stunning and expertly crafted. I also ordered Wagyu Sliders, which was delicious and satisfying, a perfect pairing with the drinks. As expected from a five-star hotel outlet, the menu is on the pricier side, but the quality and experience justify the cost. The highlight for me was the live jazz music, which added an extra layer of charm and sophistication to the atmosphere. It's a fantastic spot whether you're looking to impress guests or simply enjoy a luxurious night out. Highly recommended for those who appreciate fine cocktails, gourmet bites, and live music in a luxury setting.

SENSATIONAL VOICE!!! The Bamboo Bar is one of my favorite jazz venues in the world. I live in Bangkok and am lucky enough to visit often. The venue is intimate and exudes class with a lot of history. The artists that perform are always of a very high caliber but sometimes there is an artist that is exceptional. That is the case with the current performer, Kate. What a sensational voice she has and what a treat it is to experience her singing. I love to make special requests and Kate sang them beautifully. I have been back a few times already as I wanted to see more of Kate. Not only does she have a sensational voice, but she has such an engaging bubbly personality, she makes everyone feel welcome. Thanks to the Bamboo Bar for creating memorable and fabulous evenings with an incredible songstress!

Ive been here twice before my friend once and I wish I wrote a review then. It’s usually impeccable. Ambience. Service. Music. It’s all great. But I had 3 drinks and tried my friends drinks as well. And of the 5 only 2 stood out. One for being an exemplary sazarac and one for being terrible. I’m maybe being a bit harsher but I talked up this bar for years and went in expecting that and it just kinda fell flat. The nuts also had bits in them which were inedible. I like to think I know cocktails as I’ve been to countless top bars around the world. Just to be clear. Not the staff. Not the music. Not the service. Not the ambience. And honestly I don’t even think the bartenders. The drink recipes just kinda sucked. YMMV. It looks like they change menus. From time to time. I would give it another shot in the future

The bar is kind of like an after-business dinner place where you can have a drink and continue discussing things. The music isn't too loud, the service is very professional and quick. Anyway, it's not really my style, it's more of an easy jazz place. I fell asleep after three glasses of wine😅

Follow Google here but very disappointed. It was really busy on Saturday so we went for dinner on the river side and by the time we were about to live almost 11 pm we got the seats. The bar looks great, but the band was so boring, not that entertainment but pur jazz. The singer sang very little. So we only had one drink and left. It's not my style.

Best sushi place I’ve been at! The view is absolutely amazing, so is the staff and the food. The sushi itself must be among the best I’ve ever eaten. The dishes are well made with great ingredients and the fish is very fresh. Only complain I had was about the cocktail which was tasteless in my opinion, but other than that everything was great. There was also a dj playing really nice and chill music that really suited the vibe of the place. Overall, yes, it’s expensive compared to the local food, but definitely worth the price.

Above Eleven is without a doubt one of the best rooftops in Bangkok! The place is absolutely magical — a perfect mix of elegance, great vibes, and breathtaking views. The staff is incredible — always smiling, attentive, and genuinely professional. You can feel that everyone truly cares about creating an unforgettable experience for every guest. The general manager is exceptionally professional, elegant, and inspiring. Her passion and dedication are reflected in the flawless service and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that make this place so special. Thank you also to Christina, who provides amazing service throughout the evening and makes sure every guest leaves with a smile. And finally, the food is simply outstanding — every dish is delicious and beautifully presented. Everything is just perfect!

Absolutely loved Above Eleven! One of the best rooftop bars in Bangkok — stunning panoramic views of the city skyline, especially at sunset. The vibe is classy yet relaxed, with great music salsa music event on friday love it!! The staff were super welcoming and attentive. The Peruvian-Japanese fusion menu was a pleasant surprise — every dish had a creative twist, and the cocktails were spot-on (highly recommend trying the Pisco Sour or the Above Eleven signature drink!). Prices are fair for the location and quality.

My friend and I went to Above Eleven, and we were both very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the entire staff was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The ambiance was lovely, and the view was simply amazing! Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with dessert and sang for me, which I was very happy about, as I hadn't announced it! Overall, Above Eleven was the perfect choice, and I highly recommend it. Thank you so much!

We had an absolutely Incredible meal and above 11 tonight! I am from Peru and I am definitely very picky about Peruvian dishes and everything was so excellent. Our server Buddham treated us so well and was very attentive throughout our entire meal. He explained to us all the specials and make sure that they were able to cater one of the dishes to adjust to our selfish allergy. The view was also out of this world which makes this place absolutely worth every penny

Above Eleven is a fantastic choice for a night out. The stunning views and cool ambiance create the perfect setting. The food is both original and delicious, and the service is excellent. My top tip is to let your waitress guide you with recommendations; it's a great way to discover their best dishes. I highly recommend it.

Maggie Choo's is a stylish speakeasy-style venue located under the Novotel in Silom, Bangkok. It offers live music, delectable cocktails, and mouthwatering food. The ambiance exudes a glamorous Chinese opium den vibe with its smoke-filled and jazzy atmosphere. This place is not just a bar; it has more of a nightclub feel to it.
Very cool decor and underground bar/club. Atmosphere/events vary depending what night of the week you attend. Can smoke in the ventilated nooks, great for private hangouts. Music is good variety and they have live artist and drag shows too.

A fantastic place in a wonderful setting. The staff are service minded and the bartenders know what they are doing. Also the price is much better then all the roof top bars. Highly recommend

Just came here for a poetry night so this is just the review for an “event” vibe and the space. This place is absolutely beautiful. From the entrance down the steps into the space. As an American in Hospitality Management, there is so much that can be done with this amazing space. It reminds me of the BOX NYC and London as far as atmosphere. If this place was that….it would be the BEST SPOT IN BANGKOK. There’s so much that can be done here The bar is perfectly positioned in the center of the space. The private cave dining areas are superb. Seating is arranged in the most perfect way. This is the type of space where I would love to create specific nightlife parties for because it draws in mystery and fun. Lighting is perfection. Decor 💯 Would love to return on a normal night.

Amazing bar. Amazing staff. We were amazed by the athmosphere and great music in here. The interior felt cozy, sofisticated and drinks I can only recommend, especially Lady Smith’s drink ;). Shout-out to the pleasent server lady and bartender tonight!

Maggie Choo's is a nightclub with fantastic cocktails, fingerfood, great service, good music, both dj and live bands and it has an luxourious underground feel... Go see this place... it is one of a kind in Bangkok. Close to Leboua

Maggie Choo‘s follows the speakeasy bar concept. You need to walk through a Chinese noodle bar to get into the hidden bar. A lot of love to atmosphere and decorations which is worth a visit. You are sipping your drinks in an old vault and being brought back in time to the old prohibition days. The surroundings are of an Opium den with girls dancing, performing and smoking. Great cocktails!

Located on Soi Suan Phlu, Smalls is a popular expat neighborhood bar in Bangkok. Since its opening in 2014, it has gained attention and become one of the most talked-about bars in town. The three-story refurbished 1960s townhouse offers a dark and sophisticated atmosphere with Parisian-inspired decor, low lighting, and soft jazz music. It's known for its cozy ambiance and high-quality jazz sounds, attracting both locals and expats.
Happened to pass by this bar, and was attracted by jazz live performance especially the singer. My friend and I decided to stay for a few drinks. It’s the best decision of the day. Nice vibe, music drinks and sweet staff!! The decor is very special and has attitude. If you would like something other than jazz, second floor is also a good choice. Btw!!! The food and snacks is good also, especially the chicken knuckles!!! You never wanna miss the bar, hidden gem. :)

The drink tastes really good. There are a wide variety of alcoholic drinks for you to choose from. The highlight of this ber is the carefully selected bands.Every band that plays is a quality band.I came here the night I met band "Will lyle trio" and was very impressed. As for food, there is not much variety to choose from. But luckily, there is a pizza shop nearby that can be ordered and eaten in the bar, and it is a very tasty pizza. It is a bar where if you come late, the tables might be full because it is a popular restaurant with a lot of people.Another thing I don't like about this bar is the bathroom. I think the bathroom could be much better.

Very nice bar with very nice staff. Super nice and warm welcome that escorted me to a seat at the bar. The bar tender mixed excellent drinks and knows exactly what she is doing. A real feel at home ambiente. Also the art exhibition was cery nice. I even got a small tour and inside stories about the house. Much appreciate!

Smalls Bar was such a fun spot! The staff were super lovely and welcoming, and since we arrived early we got plenty of time to pick a nice corner for photos. The live band started around 9 PM and the atmosphere was great. The place fills up fast, so it’s definitely better to reserve a table before coming. Overall, a cozy bar with good vibes, friendly service, and a great night-out feel.

We loved our spicy cocktail so much we had two. The food was fabulous, very tasty. The decor and art make you feel like you are sitting in a small bar in Paris. The night we went, they had a jazz trio playing.

We went on a Thursday night, firstly upstairs to have a drink - nice mojitos and interesting art - then downstairs to check the live jazz. The band played too loud for the size of the venue, so we left soon after but I would recommend the bar for a pre-9pm drink.

Awesome spot in Bangkok. Great artists and music and nice cocktails. Not the annoying common jazzy stuff but a lot variation and sometimes with very cool instruments you've never seen or heard before.

Diner
American restaurant
Cocktail bar
Fatty's Bar & Diner is a unique dive bar that offers some of the city's finest burgers and most affordable drinks. It's also known for being a prime spot for live indie music, drawing in crowds with top indie bands on weekends and hosting open mic nights and game nights during the week. The atmosphere is unpretentious, earthy, and lively. Although it's not centrally located, this grungy shophouse bar has gained popularity since its opening last year.
From the outside, it looks a bit rundown, but don't let external impressions deceive you. The inside is typical of an American diner with lots of memorabilia plastered all over the walls. Music is also a big theme in the restaurant. Matthew Fischer, the owner, is a very nice, extremely laid-back native of Wisconsin, and his band is called Matthew Fischer and the Fishes. Now on to the food. It's always a good sign when there are so many good choices on the menu that I can't decide what to order. I narrowed it down to the Reuben sandwich or the Philly cheese. The Thai waitress recommended the latter, and it was very good. My son had the buffalo burger. We also had some mozzarella cheese sticks, which were delicious. Considering how much prices have risen in Bangkok in recent years, the prices here are very reasonable and a lot lower than I expected. There are special offers, and some meals include a free soft drink. Overall, an excellent place. Great food, great atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Matthew, the owner, was very courteous and knows how to treat customers. Highly recommended!
Philip L — Google review
I went to this place for a burger in October 2024. The burger was decent, but it was not as delicious as it was hyped up to be. The restaurant has a typical American diner atmosphere with matching decor.
Sudip P — Google review
The wings were definitely saucy and the blue ranch was awesome! Cole slaw wasn't good, very bland. We also go the Honey chicken which was o k. Would I get again? NO. My honey had the Philly. He thought it was dry. He asked if they would grant him mercy on the coleslaw to swap for something differently, was told can order another side and pay basically. Oh, and the chilli cheese fry were not good. No seasoning in the chili.
Martina K — Google review
What I liked most about this place was the atmosphere — it had a great vibe that made the experience enjoyable from the start. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, which was served hot off the grill. It came with a generous portion of corned beef and tangy sauerkraut. However, I didn’t notice any Thousand Island dressing, which is usually a key part of a classic Reuben. For my side, I had coleslaw. It was just okay — I found myself wishing I had chosen the fries instead.
H S — Google review
Been going to Fatty's for many years now. This review is long overdue. What can I say? I love this place. It's a dive bar, Wisconsin/Thai owned. My favorite dish is the buffalo chicken wings and homemade blue cheese. I go on Wednesday's since the wings are only 10 baht, although I do order delivery from time to time. Everything I've had has been delicious. Burgers, hotdogs, salads, you name it. Great craft & local beer selection, have live music, open mic nights, etc. Cool art and interior, solid staff the women are cute and friendly. Give it a shot, I think they have the best wings in town!

Rocked up outside Fatty's Diner in a Tuk Tuk at around 10 pm. Not being able to find my accomodation on this dark and rainy night, with last check in at 11 pm, was getting problematic? Cutting a long story short, and after a quick beer, i was ably assisted by customers, and found my destination hotel. The live music was very good as well. Thank you

CoCo Walk is a street packed with bars that feature live music. Some of the popular music venues in this area include Retro Bar, Guts Bar, Chilling House, and Skate Cafe. With an eclectic mix of music styles to choose from, CoCo Walk is a popular spot for university students to socialize and enjoy a few drinks.
The food here is absolutely delicious – practically every dish! The music is great, and the atmosphere is relaxed, though the volume might be a bit loud for those who want to have a quiet chat over drinks. Overall, it’s a top-quality spot for gatherings in this area.
Parathip P — Google review
A great place to have a meal and watch local bands perform. The downside is the harassment from each venue to choose their establishment over another. We tried to read menus but we were constantly being told to come and sit down. The food is good and the bands are all different, so we chose our venue based on the music.

CocoWalk is situated close to the train station on a bustling street. This place isn't just a single restaurant; it's a complex that contains multiple dining options within. The location may not be the most contemporary, but it certainly has a vibrant atmosphere.

Food was pretty good tbh . Service was fantastic. We initially wanted to sit inside but the music was little too loud for us . Couldn’t talk at all . So we decided to sit outside it was so chill and nice outside . You can people watch hhahah
Tsheyang K — Google review
The place itself was nice with around 10-15 good-looking spots perfect for grabbing a drink and chilling. The restaurant I visited had good food, but the beer was overpriced. One downside was the live music, which was so loud that it made conversation difficult. While the service was generally good, the overly lush greeting when entering felt a bit uncomfortable. Overall, a decent experience with room for improvement in some areas.
Sachinthya S — Google review
The place has changed a lot since 2021. It used to have many small bars and restaurants and now it's only 4 or 5, one of which has taken like half of the place. The food was nothing special, but also pricey. Live music quite loud making it hard to have a conversation with someone across the table.

Great location for the dinner. There are few restaurants you can choose inside the coco walk. We went to the one said “grandma’s restaurant” I guess it’s a good advertising 😆 Food is amazing with reasonable price. The portion is small. Will 100% come back as it has a Taiwanese restaurant vibe!

Mojjo Rooftop Lounge & Bar, located on the 32nd floor of Skyview Hotel Bangkok, is a perfect place to have a blast with friends while enjoying unbeatable views of the city and rustic mid-century Cuban vibe. Serving up delicious cocktails and tantalizing South American tapas, this bar is popular for its amazing parties and events.
We wanted to go to the Vanilla Sky Rooftop Bar, but since it was raining a bit we went to the 32nd Floor instead which is housing the Mojjo Rooftop Lounge & Bar. The Lounge is inside but it features also a large Terrace with amazing views. They had a DJ playing some not too loud House Music which was nice to listen too in the background. The place itself is very cosy, trendy and upscale. The well equipped Drink List features something for everybody and the Service Staff is very friendly and helpful. Drinks are a bit on the pricy side but that is to be expected in a place like this. The atmosphere is lovely and you can bring your Business Partners here as well as having a romantic date. Don't forget to go out on the Terrace and take some photos of the marvelous view!
Christian H — Google review
The rooftop was an exceptional experience, distinguished by its outdoor space, entertainment provided by a DJ, and a weather-protective cover - rain or shine you are safe with your booking there. The design was both spacious and aesthetically great. While the outdoor service could be improved with more attentive check-ins, the staff generally proved helpful. The menu offered a limited selection, though the food quality was satisfactory; I had fish tacos 🌮 a few times. The chocolate desert is extremely rich and too sweet. The optimal time to visit is undoubtedly... yes, you guessed it right, during sunsets 🌇

Chill rooftop bar with a beautiful view of Bangkok at night✨ Both outdoor and indoor seating available. Not too crowded, and the music is perfect for conversations. Loved the DJ vibes🎧 Staff were very friendly and welcoming. For drinks, I tried Mojjo’s signature – the bartender creates a custom cocktail based on your flavor preference, which was super fun. For food, we had Beef Asada, Raw Salmon Taco, and ended with Churros Delight😋 Perfect spot for a relaxed night🌃🥂

I had an incredible experience at Mojjo Rooftop Lounge Bar. The night city view alone is worth the visit absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening. The atmosphere was vibrant yet laid-back, making it an ideal spot to unwind. I tried the Gochujang Baobun, and it was bursting with flavor perfectly soft buns with just the right balance of spice and umami. To complement it, I had a Mango Mule Mocktail, which was refreshing, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. Everything from the food to the ambiance exceeded my expectations. Parking Toys in Bangkok is a top spot for live music, offering a refreshing change from the usual lounge tunes with its lively bands and energetic rhythms. The venue's ambiance resembles an old warehouse, adorned with vintage furniture, disco balls, and other unique decor elements. Its thrift-store chic vibe and ample seating make it an ideal place to enjoy drinks with friends while grooving to ska, jazz, or rock performances.

Thrilling engagements flowed to a late VIP with flawless attention and 5-star bottle service including beers, cocktails, and whisky. The environment was just average. Live band performance was good. But i feel like i have been cheated with the chicken tenderloin I ordered from the menu, cause they served me crushed chicken soft bones instead of tenderloin meat as you can see from the picture i sent here, with the hefty price of 250baht with that small portion, and i must emphasize that every single pieces of what you saw in the picture was soft bones inside, none of it consist any meat inside. And also the beer was overpriced too, 300 baht per bottle. Crazy!!

Spectrum Lounge & Bar at Hyatt Regency Bangkok is designed to resemble a luxurious penthouse, with carefully curated design elements such as vibrant Thai art and musical instruments. The three-story venue includes an open-kitchen and indoor bar on the 29th level, featuring live piano music and upscale dining options. On the rooftop, guests can enjoy intimate seating areas surrounded by lush greenery and panoramic views of Lower Sukhumvit.
Had a nice gathering here on our recent trip to Bangkok and was blown away. Service was great, food was great! Great view of Bangkok too! It's located in the Hotel and the Hotel has a sheltered walkway from the BTS, which was really convenient and great!
Rosanne P — Google review
Spectrum Rooftop Lounge & Bar is an absolute standout when it comes to panoramic views of Bangkok. Located high above the city (floor 29th) , the atmosphere is stunning—especially at sunset and into the night. Whether you’re there for a romantic evening or just drinks with friends, the skyline view is a showstopper. The venue is split between a restaurant/lounge area and an upper deck bar. The restaurant offers above-average food with a creative, well-executed menu. However, the prices are on the higher end, so expect a premium dining experience both in cost and ambiance. Unfortunately, the hospitality fell short at the beginning of our visit. Despite having a reservation, we were not asked for any details upon arrival and were initially seated at a table we hadn’t requested. That said, the issue was eventually resolved after some back and forth. Service noticeably improved once the staff realized we were placing a substantial order. On the upper deck, things were much better. The bar staff were far more engaging and friendly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable vibe. The music added to the lively yet classy atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Verdict: Spectacular views and solid food make Spectrum worth a visit, but service consistency needs improvement—especially for a place that positions itself as a high-end destination. If you go, aim for the upper deck for a more welcoming experience.

Located in the Hyatt Hotel this restaurant has a wonderful relaxing and charming atmosphere, with a unique view over the city. The food quality is good and the service is confidential and accurate. A special mention to Papang - most elegant and kind waitress of the restaurant! 🥰 Recommended!

The food, ambience, and the level of warmth was simply amazing. The live music took me to a different world. This has become my go-to place to celebrate the birthdays of those I love. Paradise Lost is a trendy rooftop bar located on the 25th floor of Siam@Siam hotel in Bangkok. The vibrant space is adorned with candy pink decor and lush green plants, creating an Instagrammable setting. The bar serves cocktails inspired by sustainable produce and features Ecospirits, a closed-loop alcohol distribution system. With panoramic views of the Bangkok skyline, Paradise Lost offers intimate lounge booths, bar spots, and dining tables for an immersive experience.
Came up for a drink. It was a quiet night with just a few other tables. They had a dj playing and it was a nice vibe. Our waitress, Ice, was really great, super friendly with a great attitude. The venue over looks the national stadium and she was telling us how cool it was when they had concerts there. Liked that it wasn't crazy with Instagram girls getting the shot and you could actually enjoy the views. Drinks were very good as well.

WOW I am mind blown! Paradise Lost Bangkok is absolutely beautiful and has breathtaking views of Bangkok, I loved everything from the cocktails, the food, the service from Nam and Sofa. It was such a lovely experience and I will certainly be back when I come back to Bangkok! Highly recommend this beautiful rooftop restaurant!
Brooke M — Google review
Perched above Bangkok’s skyline, Paradise Lost feels like a Vancouver rooftop gone rogue — all neon, jungle plants, and panoramic city chaos that puts the North Shore lights to shame. The décor lands somewhere between Gastown cocktail lounge and a Yaletown art exhibit, draped in tropical greens and pastel pinks that would make any Kitsilano patio jealous. The food hits west-coast expectations with Thai flair. Small plates steal the show — tender prawn rolls, lemongrass-kissed oysters, and a pork bun that could rival any food-truck legend on Main Street. Presentation is sharp, portions refined, and flavours balanced — enough spice to remind you you’re not in BC anymore but without torching your taste buds. Drinks are handcrafted with Vancouver-level mixology precision. The Golden Hour blends citrus, gin, and rosemary like a Stanley Park sunset, while the basil spritz tastes like a tropical cousin to an East Van gin fizz. Prices sit around what you’d pay at The Keefer or Fairmont Pacific Rim. Service is polished, tunes are chill, and every sightline screams Instagram gold. Paradise Lost isn’t just a bar — it’s Bangkok’s answer to the west-coast rooftop dream: polished, creative, and unapologetically over the top.
MIke A — Google review
Lost in Paradise (LOP) brings a Miami Vice vibe to Bangkok’s rooftop bar scene and I love it. The pink hued decore and design, and 25th floor setting provide a dream location for Instagrammers and shutterbugs. I especially like the views onto the river and Chinatown side of the city - seeing Icon Siam and the Golden Mount temple lit up at night are great sights. One side of the bar also looks over the National Stadium. It would be a great spot when the venerable old stadium hosts football matches or concerts. Drinks are beautifully made and presented and service is top notch. Only quibble is a lack of ventilation when there is no breeze - some floor fans would be good. But overall, a great experience and I will return as the bar is four minutes from home.

We found this by coincidence through google maps and had a fantastic time! The cocktails were absolutely splendid, creative and distinct signature drinks such as the Utopia (highly recommended) and delicious bites. The service is super attentive and quick and even pointed out the thirsty trio cocktail promotion (thanks so much Pan and Julio)! The views are stunning and really put you in the Bangkok vibes. You enter through the lobby of the beautiful Siam@Siam hotel. We are coming back for sure!

We were staying at Siam@Siam Hotel and had dinner at chim chim before then came up for some drinks, what a cool place! It was quite empty still, so we could choose a nice table with perfect view. The staff was really kind and the drinks tasted amazing! It was so nice to see how the barkeeper was loving what he was doing and how he was doing it to perfection. The view is super nice even when it’s a little rainy, and the vibe was super chill with the DJane playing some cool tunes. Would always come back, very enjoyable experience. P.S.: dear Gentlemen - don’t miss out on the bathroom views :D

Tuba is a unique establishment located in the Ekkamai neighborhood of Bangkok. It's a combination of pub, restaurant, and art gallery with a 70s-inspired decor that includes quirky items for sale. Visitors can enjoy playing pool, listening to old tunes, and even purchase items like couches or life-size statues during their visit. The venue offers Thai-inter cuisine and an extensive drink menu featuring draught beers and cocktails served in large martini glasses.
The atmosphere here is amazing! The place is divided into two zones — the stage area and the restaurant area. We sat in the restaurant zone, and we could still enjoy the live music through the speakers. We made a reservation via the restaurant’s LINE account, which was super convenient. The staff were so lovely and friendly — they kept chatting with us and gave great food recommendations. Very down-to-earth vibes! The prices might be a bit on the higher side, but they often have promotions like buy 2 get 1 free on beers. Also, every Thursday, there’s a jazz singer performing live. The vibe is really, really great! Overall, we had such a wonderful time here. Will definitely come back again!

I’m so glad I came here for my birthday! We had two very nice servers check in on us. I booked for 6 of us in the live music dining area. The ambiance is on another level and it’s extremely lively. Drinks were plentiful and there was a buy one get one happy hour special. The musicians were very talented. Food was good — I had the spaghetti carbonara and my friends had pizza and other dishes. We ate everything — no complaints. My only issue was how long it took to get our food. It took over 30 minutes to get our food (but to be fair, it was jam packed on a Saturday night). This place seems like it’s one that’s always booked. I recommend booking in advance. I will be recommending this place to others and I will be back!

TUba Bar and Restaurant is an absolute gem! The moment you step in, you’re welcomed by its quirky, vintage décor that makes the whole atmosphere feel fun, cozy, and unforgettable. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready with great recommendations. The food is delicious — every dish is full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The cocktails are creative and perfectly balanced, making it the ideal spot to relax with friends or enjoy a date night. What really sets TUba apart is the vibe — it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. Whether you come for the food, drinks, or the unique ambiance, you’ll leave wanting to come back again and again. I've been here for dinner. I tried ordering basic dishes. Each dish took a very long time, more than 30 minutes. It ruined the atmosphere even though the restaurant is decorated in a unique style. (some dish was scrambled eggs make one of us had diarrhea…) If I were just going to drink, this place would be interesting. It's suitable for people who like to take pictures because there are many cool corners for content.

Opened ten years ago, The Roof Bar is a relaxed open-air eatery and lounge on the third level of Centre Point Plaza Hotel on Khao San Road. Each night, the live music commences with an acoustic performance at 7.30pm, followed by a complete band from 9.30pm to 11.30pm, and another group from 11.30pm to 1.30am.

Step into the world of vintage Cuba with a modern twist at Havana Social, located in Bangkok's Sukhumvit Soi 11. The dimly lit space is brought to life by a lively salsa band and an array of classic and innovative rum-based cocktails. If rum isn't your preference, there are also imported craft beers and a noteworthy Sazerac on offer.
Such fun place to spend the night! The Latin band play lots of classics songs and DJ has variety of style. It’s fun to be there. 1 fl dance floor is pack, but they do have 2nd floor cigar room and library looking bar. If you want to escape from the madness, you can just come upstairs. It’s awesome design. Love the musics and decor of the space.

Armando L — Google review
Havana social used to be THE club to go to if you’re a fan of Latin music and high energy vibes. The cocktails are still amazing but there’s slowly a shift in the clientele who is quite low energy and the music played now makes it quite difficult to dance. Th playlist now makes no sense, it is either too slow or mixed with beats which are impossible to get in the flow to dance. Before, you could see a lot of stylish people who really enjoy the music dancing and they used to even have dance competitions. Now, there is a mix of women in crocs and escort girls without forgetting the aging men who stare creepily at women dancing from their private tables. Even the staff looks stressed dealing with the recent type of clients taking over the place. It’s such a shame and I still give it 3 stars because I really hope that they would bring back the old Havana Social soon. It was the best.
Deena A — Google review
An absolute must visit in Bangkok for cigar and cocktail aficionados. And hey, even if that’s not your poison, soak in the tunes and bust a move on the dance floor. Top tip for newcomers: arrive between 10-11pm to really enjoy the whole experience.

This place is absolutely amazing — full of energy and fun! The music, with its incredible danceable vibe, blew me away. The bar team is nothing short of amazing. But the highlight of the night for me was having a conversation with the head bartender, Tan, in El Presidente Room. It was truly the most magical part of the cocktail experience. He created a night to remember — with nothing but his shaker and extraordinary skill. Aekachai Khongsri.

Havana Social Club is an exquisite tribute to the timeless elegance of Cuban culture. The ambiance is rich with character—intimate, refined, and imbued with a warm, nostalgic charm. Live music sets the perfect tone, effortlessly weaving through the space and elevating the mood. The selection of premium rum and hand-rolled Cuban cigars is impeccable, curated for true connoisseurs. Attentive and gracious service rounds out an experience that is as indulgent as it is unforgettable—a distinguished destination for those who appreciate life’s finer pleasures.

Havana Social in Bangkok is my favorite spot because I always dance a lot there. This hidden Cuban-themed bar has an amazing 1940s Havana vibe with great cocktails and lively Latin music. Tawandang German Brewery - Rama III is a renowned entertainment venue in Bangkok that has evolved from a German microbrewery into a multifaceted destination. The original location offers a mix of country western pub vibes, delectable ribs, and flavorful microbrews, all accompanied by live rock and pop performances. The lively atmosphere invites diners to hit the expansive dance floor.
I’ve visited this venue every single year for the last 25 years with my friends. Tawandaeng German Brewery is a confluence of Western & Eastern themes. Apart from Thai and some German cuisine there are a variety of Japanese offerings too. While this venue is primed for German Beer offered in a variety of shades from Lager to Dunkel (dark), it won’t disappoint others types of patrons who prefer other spirits which are offered too. The food is tasty, the ambience is great and the service is pretty good! The heart of this venue is the live performance which starts around the time the sun sets and wraps up towards closing time. You can expect a variety of performances, be it dancing, singing (English/Chinese/Japanese) and other spectacles. The place is popular for birthday parties, friends gatherings and all sorts of chilling occasions. If you want to have a conversation l, the second floor is a better and slightly quieter place, whereas any decent conversation downstairs can only occur during performance breaks. Most of the time, conversation takes a back seat as you will be engrossed in the spectacular performances. Parking is plenty and a reservation is highly recommended as this venue is always packed! Enjoy!

An amazing evening at Tawandang German Brewery! 🎉 The food was excellent – authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The German dishes and freshly brewed beer were real highlights. 🍺 The live music and lively atmosphere created a perfect vibe for a fun night out with friends or family. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I can highly recommend!

Wow! What a wonderful place. I have been to many, many [micro]breweries around the world, and this if probably the most entertaining one! We’ll need to come back for the full show, including the aerial aerobatics. But let’s talk about what really matters: the beer. So fresh, so crisp, such clear distinct flavours. I truly enjoyed this. Didn’t try them all yet, so we have to come back. Also really friendly staff. Super helpful and fast. This place is huge and can get really busy, but there is so much staff that you won’t wait long for your beer.

Great Entertainment at a German Beer Brewery Restaurant in Bangkok I’ve been to Tawandang many times with my friends and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, especially the Thai dishes. They also offer Japanese sushi and sashimi, which are surprisingly good, and their German food is well-prepared too. One of the highlights is the live singing and dancing entertainment, which is included at no extra charge. The atmosphere is always lively and fun. The staff are friendly and provide efficient service. While they don’t automatically add a 10% service charge, we usually tip both the staff and the performers, such as the singers, to show appreciation. Prices for food and drinks are a bit higher than average for Bangkok, but it’s understandable given the quality of the food and the live entertainment included. This is one of the best spots in the city to enjoy a night out with friends. Highly recommended!

First visit to this venue. The place is very big, with many tables. We pre booked for 16, but place is so large, may not have been necessary! Great variety of good food, served by very attentive and friendly staff! Great vibe. A good variety of music styles, from a number of bands, across the night. Loud, but can still have conversation! Will be back in the future. Well worth a visit!

You can easily spot this place with the big BAR sign outside. Located at the 5th floor of the building, they have Elevator for you or if you're feeling adventurous then you can climb up 5 floors of stairs. Drinks are okay. Staff are nice. The band that played the night we visit was superb. Perfect for hanging out with friends, not straying too far away from Sukhumvit.

The place was smaller than I expected, but the atmosphere was nice. It was raining when I visited, but I think there’s room for improvement with the service staff and bartenders. The waiter seemed a bit moody at times (I visited on September 14, 2024). When I ordered a custom drink from the bartender, based on reviews saying they would create something according to your look, all they did was ask what flavor I liked, and that was it. This place is Always my favourite bar that I often visit for more than 5 years. In my opinion, it's very delicious cocktails here. Let's try 'Mutual' which is bartender will make you a special unique cocktail.

This bar is known for its good vibes, and its signature cocktail menu sets it apart. The live music adds a nice touch, though the volume isn't overly loud, creating a perfect environment for chatting with friends. The diverse drink selection is impressive-definitely worth a try. One standout is the "Say My Name" cocktail, offering a delightful blend of flavors that adds a tantalizing kick to the experience. 🍸🍹

We went on Sunday the live music is literally vibing. I ordered “The Featuring” and “Secret Garden”. The cocktails are on point. The “featuring” is complex and the “secret garden” is so refreshing. The overall vibe is great. It’s going to be insanely great if outside is raining. No parking. Recommend to park at Emporium building A, G floor and walk out exit at Starbuck Gate. The bar will be just right across the street.

Very good bands, walked in on weekday so glad to get seats. Fun bartenders.

This place is a hidden gem! Located on the 2nd floor with great vibes nice music. All drinks are on point and the service are also nice and friendly. We visit this place quite late as we went to another bar and it was heavy raining so we decided to change and went to this place. The crew was kind enough to delayed the last order a bit so we can sit and enjoy for a while. I will definitely visit again once I am in Bangkok. Highly recommended!

SpeakerBox is a popular live music venue in Bangkok that features up and coming bands from all genres. Every night, they host a variety of music shows with various artists. If you're looking for some great live tunes and want to explore different styles, SpeakerBox is the place for you!
Like all great venues before them, With its longevity, consistency and authentic diy music culture, Speaker box remind predominant in the local music scene. The venue recently renovated and moved to a bigger space with bar area and clean toilet, walking distance from the OG spot. The live room capacity is about 200 - 250 max. Decent size for an intimate live music experience. Do check out their calendar before hand as they only have bands for event nights only. On the other hand, the bar area is always open most nights. Drinks start at around 100+ baht. If you’re looking for a music venue in Bangkok, this is definitely one of the place worth checking out.

The day I went, there was a 300 THB ticket fee, which couldn't be exchanged for any drinks. I thought the music would be great, but the fact is there were a lot of sound technical issues. During the one hour I was there, they only managed to play one full song loudly. I'm quite disappointed, but anyway, there are a lot of Thai craft beers available at reasonable prices. It could be a great place to hang out if you visit on the right night.

Speakbox rocks. It probably rolls, jumps, and pops too given the number, and diversity, of gigs held there. Speakerbox offers a great set up for patrons with a nice bar space for pre concert drinks and socializing. The performance space is rectangular shaped giving patrons good sight lines and an up close, intimate atmosphere for singers and bands. A bar is also conveniently located at the side. I had no gripes with the sound the night I visited and all-up it was a good night out and I look forward to more shows in the future.

Great space for indie and underground bands, as well as electronic and DJ acts. It features a top-notch sound system, massive LED screen for visuals, and dynamic lighting. There are two rooms: a lounge with a pool table, and a livehouse-style main room, both equipped with bars.

Absolutely loved it here. I went for the Brit Pop/Rock Night (yes, the Earthquake Night!) and had such a great time. The vibe was electric—just like I remembered from my previous visits. It’s one of those rare places that stayed true to its spirit every time. So sad to hear it’s closed now, but thank you, Decommune, for all the amazing nights and memories. You’ll be missed.

Went to a cover concert there and really liked the sound and the lights. However, if you host techno events in the club, there must be a quiet place to chill at. Arrange a room with dim lights, couches, pillows and incense so people can take a breath between the dances. Otherwise we have to stand outside and it’s exhausting.

Solid venue for good music and great drinks. They have vinyl nights and is a popular spot for local gigs. Had a few amazing drinks by the bartender, Thindar who is very well versed in his own craft. Do ask him for custom cocktails! Definitely returning next time there’s a music night happening!

SIWILAI Sound Club is a trendy cocktail and jazz bar located in old town Charoen Krung, Bangkok. The venue features a custom-made OJAS-designed sound system that enhances the experience for music enthusiasts. The first floor serves as the live room, hosting a rotating cast of local and international jazz artists who perform various subgenres from Swing to Bebop and New Orleans. A grand piano takes center stage, adding to the ambiance.
We happened upon Siwilai on a random walk, and we hit the jackpot. We arrived a bit on the early side, and the team took perfect care of us, with a well-balanced Mezcal Margarita and a Manhattan to start. We were taken also by the intimacy of the musical setting, the sound quality, and general ambiance. After the couple drinks, we went down the street to a nearby restaurant Thai restaurant for dinner, and then came back for the music, with a brilliant young singer and a three piece backup band, with drums, base guitar, and organs. Although we had not plans to stay that long, we were there almost to closing, with a few additional drinks. The staff was wonderful, with the mixologist perfect and the bartender Thai (not sure of spelling) amazingly helpful. If you want an intimate musical setting and good drinks, this is it!

Siwilai Sound Club BKK: Jazz & Great Cocktails Without Breaking the Bank Bangkok's Siwilai Sound Club is a fantastic jazz bar with a sophisticated yet inviting vibe. The live music is top-notch, and their signature cocktails are creative, delicious, and surprisingly worth the money. The only downside? Parking can be tricky, so consider public transport. Overall, it's a must-visit for a memorable night of smooth jazz and excellent drinks!

What an amazing experience for our anniversary! I contacted the sound bar on Line and spoke to the manageress about doing something special for the evening. I sent her a picture of an idea and she confirmed that she would prepare something special. On the night we had the best table in the house! The table was decorated so beautifully and it created such a special moment. The sparkling Rose was delicious! They have a great variety of premium alcohol on the menu. They kept the snacks coming throughout the evening as they don’t have serve food. The music was amazing! We got to speak to the performers and take pictures with them. Hands down I think this is the best place to listen to live Jazz and Blues in Bangkok. Thank you to the kind manageress who went out of her way to make such a special evening. Follow them on instagram they have a great weekly line up of performers.

Bad experience & Not repeated!!! I visited the Disney Jazz Night. To be honest, it isn't jazz; it's just live music. The band was generally nice, but the stereo is extremely poor. The space was pretty small and crowded, but the staff still accepted new customers. There are always customers and staff walking past and blocking the band. We can't get into the Disney vibe at all! The front desk staff workers didn't inform us that we needed to pay a minimum of 1,000฿/pp, (plus entry fee is 500฿/pp) so the total cost was at least 1,500฿/pp. To be fair, the drink isn't pricey, but when compared to the extremely horrible experience we had. It's not worth the money.
Happytummy — Google review
This lovely Jazz bar is really fun and definitely a must visit if you enjoy a night with amazing music and drinks. The performance was so good and the artists so talented. Perfect to visit with a group of friends but also highly recommend for a date night.
Astrid S — Google review
Disappointed and dissatisfied. The band and the sound system was great but the ticket info was misleading as the bar failed to disclose material information. Bought a ticket to a mini orchestra concert. Upon arrival, I was just informed that I would need to spend at least 1,000 thb to be seated at the bar and 4,000 thb for a more comfortable seating. That information is not written anywhere in the ticket description or the instagram post advertisement. I view this as a form of unfair trade practice. More importantly, the ticket stated 'A Tribute to Stevie Wander' but only 6-7 songs by Stevie Wander were played. As for the cocktails, I would say that they were subpar.
Nat K — Google review
We planned to visit the club for the Disney Jazz special event and purchased tickets in advance. However, only 5 hours before the event, we were informed that there was a minimum spend requirement of 1,000 THB per person. When we asked where the condition was stated (as we didn’t see it in the post), the admin simply pointed to the T&C* applied in the advertised post — which didn’t show any details on the minimum spending. I personally don’t mind spending at least 1,000 THB, but I feel that this was not quite transparent and unfair to consumers. Luckily, I was able to obtain full refund, but clearer communication upfront would have prevented this incident.
Kanatip Y — Google review
The venue is nice with good music, but for special events they enforce a minimum spend of 1,000 THB per person without prior notice — nothing was mentioned on the poster or event announcement, and customers only find out at the door. The management is very poor, the back office responds slowly, and the refund process is delayed (almost impossible to get a refund).

The Sky Train Jazz Bar stands out as a unique jazz club with its fifth-floor open-air setting, attracting attention from passersby. Guests can enjoy stunning city views, live music, and basic Thai dishes on the menu. Whether you're a local or tourist, this rooftop bar promises an enjoyable evening and unforgettable memories in Bangkok.
Open on 30.04.2022. Even better than before. I like the new style! Very modern, more spacious with bigger air-conditioned rooms, and much saver with higher railings (or any at all). Still a cute little sundowner rooftop bar 🍻 Staff is super helpful, even with your scooter locked while parking on the street in front (go to police by moto-taxi to unlock).

Nice view on the rooftop just next to bts Victory Monument, tet it was hard to find as nothing is showing the name from the outside. I tried fried crab rice and it was good, the main problem was the service. It could be way better.

Awesome place. Music isn't exactly jazz, but it's very relaxing and makes this bar stand out. View is really nice. It makes you fell the Bangkok atmosphere without being overwhelmed by it. Prices higher then in most of the pubs, but still affordable.

Really loved this place. Didn't get Jazz vibes but the view was amazing, beer wasn't super overpriced, and the music wasn't annoying. Very glad I found this place, it wasn't even half-full on a Sunday night, stayed until closing time at 1 a.m. and would definitely come back.

Very nice view on the busy street with the sky train. They play western music, mostly 80s, 90s, pop. The service is terrible though. They do not look at you, no hello or thank you. (Not due to language barrier.) No non-alcoholic cocktails.

Had high hopes due to all the good reviews but my experience was disappointing. Paid 200 baht cover only to discover that it’s such a tiny space and there were like 6 people inside. Vibe was pretty muted, and no one was dancing. Feels more like a bar than a club so having to pay a cover seems ridiculous — but maybe it’s just that night. All that said, music was great. The DJ was killing it.

At the time I had been walking to an area where I could catch a taxi or bus to get back to the hotel, but I stopped to take some pics and heard the music. Thanon Khao San, a bustling urban area, is a popular resting place for backpackers offering various types of accommodations, shops, and bars. Visitors can enjoy shopping for second-hand English books and Thai souvenirs such as clothing, jewelry, and DVDs. Additionally, the area is famous for pirated movies and fake designer products.

Khao San Road is exactly what you expect from Bangkok’s most famous party street—super loud, crowded, chaotic, and incredibly fun. The whole area is packed with bars, street food vendors, shops, and nonstop music. Yes, the prices are a little higher than other parts of the city, but you’re really paying for the energy and craziness of the atmosphere. You’ll run into plenty of hecklers trying to sell wristbands, souvenirs, or pull you into their bars. It can feel overwhelming at first, but honestly most of them are harmless—just doing their job. A lot of the people holding signs are simply showing you the menu for their bar. Nothing to worry about and no scams there. I wouldn’t recommend the ping-pong shows, but everything else is just part of the Khao San experience. Whether you’re grabbing street food, bar hopping, or just people-watching, it’s a super fun place to check out at least once. If you want a wild night out in Bangkok, this is the spot.
Cory P — Google review
After taking a break from visiting several places around Bangkok, I went to this street to look for food. There are many choices of stalls and restaurants selling food from Halal to non-halal here. I saw a stall selling crocodile meat (I didn't buy/taste it). There are also liquor bars, hair and nail beauty stalls, and jewelry. You can come and see for yourself the excitement of the night market.

The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar, situated on the 24th and 25th floors of Hotel Muse in Bangkok, offers a classy and upscale experience. The bar is themed around the Prohibition era of 1920s America, with various sections including a cozy Long Bar and a sophisticated cigar lounge called the Blind Pig. The Terrace Bar on the upper level is particularly popular for its stunning views over Lang Suan and Bangkok's illuminated skyline.
Unique rooftop bar at hotel Muze. Worth the visit. Good views but not too high. Nice cocktails but they seem to not put the ingredients on the menu in all drinks and tend to substitute as per bartender. I had a cocktail called the Hemingway that should have included Absinthe as per menu but I didn’t see or taste it in the drink. For US$ 25 price tag (same as high end NYC or London bars) for a cocktail they should make sure the cocktails are proper. Came for the views so giving 4 stars. But if you’re getting cocktails I’m not sure.
Bashitha K — Google review
I’ve seen many reviews about their table reservation system, but I didn’t expect to experience it myself. I called to book a table for 3, yet the staff didn’t even ask for my name — it felt like they weren’t paying attention. When we arrived, our table wasn’t reserved at all, so it felt more like a walk-in. Since it was a weekday and not crowded, I could somewhat understand. ✨ Ambience: Beautifully decorated in 1920s style with both indoor & outdoor zones, plus an upstairs garden. Absolutely 1000/10. 👩‍🍳 Service: Plenty of staff, friendly and attentive. 9/10. 🌇 View: Not impressive, to be honest. 4/10. 🍽 Food: Outstanding, delicious in every way. 100/10. 🍸 Cocktails: The flavor of the cocktails wasn’t outstanding, but the glass decoration and presentation were gorgeous 9/10. 💰 Price: On the expensive side for what you get.

Ambience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) The highlight of this rooftop bar! The 1920s-inspired speakeasy style is consistent throughout – from the décor and furniture to the lighting and music. It creates an elegant, timeless atmosphere that makes you feel like stepping into another era. Perfect for couples or friends who enjoy a classy vibe with stunning skyline views. Food ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) The food is decent but leaves room for improvement. Presentation is nice, but flavors could be more refined, especially considering the premium pricing. With a bit more creativity and consistency, the dining experience could match the quality of the setting. Service ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) Staff are polite and attentive, but service flow is not always as smooth as expected at this level. Drinks sometimes take a little long, and menu knowledge could be sharper. Still, friendly and welcoming overall. Overall If you’re looking for atmosphere, this is one of the best rooftop bars in Bangkok – stylish, unique, and unforgettable. Food and service are good but could be elevated further to fully match the outstanding ambience. Still worth visiting for the experience, especially if you love vintage charm and city views. I’ve also shared a few extra rooftop shots and short clips on my profile – check my links for more impressions.

Beautiful view, great cocktails with a special touch! The setting is cozy and the food is excellent. We ordered the wagyu skewers and scallops as starters, followed by the wagyu pasta to share, it was delicious! For dessert, we had the espresso martini, which was an absolutely amazing way to finish our meal. Highly recommended!

Speakeasy Rooftop Bar is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels exclusive yet inviting — a perfect blend of sophistication and relaxation. The cocktails are nothing short of fantastic — creative, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Each one feels like it’s been crafted with real passion and attention to detail. The views are simply breathtaking over the Bangkok sky line...the perfect backdrop for a night out with friends or a romantic evening. Watching the sunset while sipping on a signature cocktail is an experience you won’t forget. The staff are attentive, friendly, and clearly love what they do, which makes the whole experience even better.

Beautiful Rooftop Bar in the stylish Muse Hotel. We reserved online and were present 10 min before the reserved time and were told they already gave away our table in the secret garden. No explanation. We then had to wait some minutes and got seated at the terrace. The cocktails are served in beautiful small diorama-like tablets. Worth a visit!

Absolutely outstanding food and ambience! Not a mouthful we didn’t enjoy. Lovely views from the roof top, staff were super friendly and service was without a hitch. Highly recommend!
Michael O — Google review
This rooftop bar is an absolute gem. The panoramic views of Bangkok are stunning—especially at sunset when the whole city lights up. The cocktails were outstanding, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with care. I loved the speakeasy vibe as well; it feels tucked away and exclusive without being pretentious. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, drinks with friends, or just enjoying the skyline. Highly recommended if you want a memorable night out in Bangkok!

Tucked away behind an unassuming wooden door on Thonglor road, Rabbit Hole has been a trailblazer in introducing Bangkok's craft cocktail culture. Since its establishment almost nine years ago, it has consistently ranked among Asia's 50 Best Bars. The venue features a spacious L-shaped marble-topped bar counter and an extensive shelf of selected spirits and mixers.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a fun place! The vibe at Rabbit Hole BKK is always lively and full of good energy. The staff are super friendly and give amazing recommendations. Their cocktails are absolutely delicious — always something new and creative to try, and I love that! Definitely one of the bars I keep coming back to — always entertaining, never boring! Even when I come alone, I never feel lonely here.

Little hidden gem along ThongLor road. Will walk past it if you don’t pay attention. Low lighting bar with an extensive cocktail menu. Had the Tokyo and the Mexico City cocktails. I thought the Mexico City was the nicer tasting one. So I would recommend that one instead. There aren’t any food options so best to eat before or after. Good for a quick tasty cocktail.

Just had an awesome night at Rabbit Hole and had to give a shoutout to Bartender Depp!! This guy seriously knows his craft. Every drink he made was on point, smooth, creative, and had that perfect balance that makes you pause and say, “Damn, that’s good.” You can tell he’s passionate about what he does. The vibe was already cool, but the friendly waitress took it to the next level. Super warm, attentive without hovering, and just genuinely good energy, like chatting with a friend who happens to bring you amazing cocktails. If you’re looking for a spot with great drinks and even better people, Rabbit Hole’s where it’s at. Props to the team!

Indeed, one of the 50 best Cocktail bar. Its a must visit bar. The cocktails are divine. And "Golf" made it more enjoyable. We did have fun with how we were taken care of. She is a gem. We are back in Singapore now but we will be back soon. Told our other friends too about this place.

Brought the 66 team over to rabbit hole to explore their vibe and it was amazing! Hosted by depp behind the bar, great chat, great drinks! Very friendly and introduce us afew other great spot to visit. Price is very reasonable so just order away!

This is definitely and no doubt to be in the Asia's 50 Best Bar. The cocktail and the story behind of every concoction is above and beyond. Apart from that, the service of Golf is amazing, she's so lovely, very attentive and the professionalism is on point. This will be a must when visiting bangkok ❤️
AMAzures — Google review
This is an amazing place to be in - the vibes great, Golf is so knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel so welcomed. I ordered the drink “Mexico” which is such an interesting drink and a must try! Luv it!
WaiChoong H — Google review
Atmosphere is very sexy and the staff attentive. They had a special concept where the bartender decided what to make after talking to us but unfortunately the cocktails were so bad that they were undrinkable. Like if someone tries to make cocktails at home and mixes everything in creating a poison mouthwash 😂. The cost was much higher per drink than the usual which is already about 500THB/drink + 10% service and tax. For me that’s no problem but I want perfection. This was amateur hour.

Live music bar

Blues club
Apoteka Sukhumvit Soi 11 in Bangkok is a modern take on a 19th-century apothecary, featuring old wood and brick decor with an array of potion-like glass bottles adorning the shelves. This trendy bar not only offers a wide selection of signature cocktails, beer, and wine but also hosts some of the best live music performances in Bangkok. The venue showcases high-quality bands playing blues and rock classics, such as the renowned Soi Dog band.
Price iis reasonable. All staffs are kind This shop(restuarant or bar, I am not sure) has a great live musical performances. Mostly they(not thai, western) play many genres of songs. It's stage is quite good enough to watch musicians. I think that small stage give us real and close show like a intimate relationship. This shop is really nice. I strongly insist that you visit here for lunch or dinner or just beer. It will be great.
Vincent B — Google review
Amazing place with great live music. It's a hub for different artists and different bands play everyday. They have a happy hour from 5pm to 8pm and includes both beers spirits. The food is great too. Located at the end of soi 11. Closest BTS is Nana but there is bit of walk to get there.
Sasika G — Google review
Excellent live music bar (with food), just off Sukhumvit Soi 11 - so a few minutes walk from Nana BTS. Saw acoustic sets from Simon Price (UK) one day, then John Will Sail (NZ) the next. Both excellent. Both were followed by Soi Dog Blues Band - excellent musicians but not my personal musical taste. Yes, prices are premium BUT you’re getting quality entertainment for ‘free’ - just enjoy! Friendly staff too. Great venue.
David S — Google review
Great place to grab dinner & couple of beers with friends!!! Make sure you try the pizzas; bit spicy, but really a pleasant surprise!!! As a bonus they had a great lady doing live music on the night we went!!! Still wonder why it’s called a pharmacy, though... I guess you can get your fix there? ;-)
Bartek R — Google review
On of my favorite places in Bangkok. Lovely live band, great drinks. Love the Pizza and the starters. The band closes by 12 so plan accordingly.

Nice music & good price if you come in happy hour. Very friendly staff and also a good location. One of bars open till late in BKK.

Great music and ambiance, food and drinks are pk. Price is just right. A great place to hang out ang enjoy some good music and beer. Live band played until 1AM when we were there on a Tuesday
Angel P — Google review
Nice pub @ the corner of Soi 11, they have very high quality bands, playing the classics of blues, sometimes rock. Also the bar and beer sortiment is from good quality. You don't have to pay for listening to the music, the price for the drinks is a bit higher than around. You can eat there also. One of the blues bands is Soi Dog, quite famous. I can highly recommend, especially if you are bored from all the phillipino bands, playing the same sounds every day.

I had a great time. 🌇 The 360° view of Bangkok is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. The vibe is relaxed and classy — perfect for an evening out. Jed was super helpful and friendly. He took my photos and nailed it. Totally worth it to spend time there. Beautiful place, beautiful drinks, beautiful night. ✨🍸

This rooftop bar has a great 360ํatmosphere — really stunning views all around. When I visited, it wasn’t very crowded, which made it even more relaxing. We ordered just one cocktail and one mocktail, and the cocktail was especially impressive. It wasn’t just a drink — it felt like it had a story behind it, thoughtfully crafted and unique. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a chill spot to unwind and enjoy the view.

Amazing experience of sunset at the Crew bar ( level 57). Lovely and super professional service of Gab with delicious drinks. Highly recommended. Not the cheapest place but definitely worth the price for the experience, the views can be a great ad on to special celebrations and anniversaries

The atmosphere here is really nice and cozy. The staff are lovely, friendly, and provide excellent service — especially Sprite and Frea! They took great care of us. I really enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended!

Nothing but amazing. Apart from the view - which of course is stunning - the service is excellent and the drinks are unique, expertly prepared and beautifully arranged. Also, the staff took lots of time to take photos of us to memorize this special experience. We didn't have any food but I'm sure it would have been equally breathraking

If you're on the hunt for a laid-back rooftop experience in Bangkok without breaking the bank, look no further than Wanderlust Rooftop Bar in Thonglor. Nestled on the fifth floor of a charming commercial building, this hidden gem offers an inviting atmosphere that feels both relaxed and unpretentious. While it may take a bit of effort to locate its entrance, once you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy vibe perfect for unwinding with friends.
Great little rooftop bar located in the same building as a quaint little hotel. Decent beer selection. American style food. They have Hookas and also offer a corkage fee, which I haven't seen yet at any of the other local bars. I thought this was a nice touch especially if you are particular about your liquid beverage. Nice ambiance, laid back. Great artwork on the walls, very original.
Susie G — Google review
A small roof top bar with a great atmosphere on the 5th floor of a small building. You got to find the entrance and take the lift to 5th floor and then climb one more floor up. Good to go for a drink and have a bite with a group of friends. There drinks from juices, soft drinks, beer towers and even hard liquor. A nice and yummy selection of food too. There is good live music played in both Thai and English mix. There is parking space for folks driving there as well. But its very difficult to find the road as they very narrow alleys. Eventhogh the food and drinks are a bit expensive, the live music and the atmosphere balances it out. The toilets are on the 2nd or the 3rd floor which annoys as you got to climb up and down few times. Overall a good place to hangout and chill.
Randula H — Google review
Great place for a couple of drinks and have bar bites!! Went on a weekday night so it was pretty quiet. They also have a live band for entertainment as well. It is a rooftop bar with good ambience, however finding this place is abit tricky. Not to worry, you will be rewarded!

Good rooftop bar down a small soi away from the very trendy Thonglor. Nice views good food and drinks OK music

Very cool bar with a laid-back atmosphere. Every square meter is covered with fake grass :) . Is not a rooftop bar as expected but very nice. If you are looking for a cool bar with nice people u are right.
Willi H — Google review
Small rooftop bar in the Japanese area. A bit difficult to locate but friendly service, reasonable prices and good snacks. Interesting enough is that the venue has a retractable roof, which covers the area when raining.
MG R — Google review
This cozy little hideout is a good spot to hangout, though on Friday nights it now gets pretty crowded and it's not exactly a place to stand and drink by the bar. Sometimes they have live acoustic bands. The singers might not be the best, so don't expect much. But it's a different setting and a cheaper selection compared to the rest of the places along Thonglor. The price point is good and the finger food are wonderful! I've brought different groups of friends here and they all seemed to like the chill atmosphere. It's on a rooftop of a 5-floor building, so don't expect any spectacular views. But it is a good spot for some nice wind.
Riya P — Google review
This is an awesome bar, with great views of the city. The service is very friendly, and very quick. They have good beer selection. I really like the views of the city. Three of the four sides are open, and so it's an awesome place. It's a little hard to find, since you have to go behind the building and down a dark alley, but it's worth it. They have great artwork all over the bar.
