The High Museum of Art in Atlanta is a must-visit destination known for its diverse art collection and modern architecture by renowned architects Richard Meier and Renzo Piano. The museum features a large permanent collection encompassing American, European, and African art, including southern folk art, modern and contemporary art, as well as photography with a focus on American works.
Of course I loved it! Art anyone? Although I had hoped for newer displays since my last visit, it was still a treat to see prior pieces and newer ones. I was espeically drawn to two installations, Faith Reingold, "Seeing Children" and a piece that literally stopped me in my tracks and brought tears to my eyes, Roger Brown's "Dawn." It's apocalyptic nature surrounded in a bloom of mandalas was stark, warm and cold simultaneously. I love the quiet, the complimentary stools you can carry as you go and the overall peace I feel with just my noise blocking headphones, art paper, my thoughts and the emotional effects of beauty. It's not the Louvre, but it's steeped in artistic sensibility.

It was an interesting combination of art from multiple cultures and eras. My son and I amused ourselves coming up with names for the abstract sculptures. I've never seen so much furniture included in an art museum before. The item that stood out as "I'm not sure this belongs here" was a turnstile. 🤔
Carissa S — Google review
I visited the Museum on the UPS secondb Sunday program, so the admission was free. A modern museum with a large collection and two hours were barely enough to cover all the grounds. The coat check lady was extremely nice, sharing with me information about Wednesday free admission under the Access for All program.

I’m not flipping over the moon but it was fair. $30 per. A bit confused on the entry. Followed the art gate to the entrance-if I didn’t have my wife with me it might’ve took me longer to find. Nice people/customer service on entry and ticket line. If you spend another $30 you get an annual pass. Good deal since they change out art through the year. Purchased tickets on site. Multi levels dedicated to different periods. I LOVE the Black/African History. Very nice big layout spacing to see the art comfortably while others can be admiring the same art piece. I got super thirsty with all the walking. If you’re afraid of heights, the walk up can be nervous. Maybe there’s an elevator. Had to sit down once. It’s plenty to see for the money. We parked at the food hall and walked over but they have parking that i think cost. Took about 45 min at our pace to view everything. I’d recommend and come back in a few years. Makes you want to venture out to other museums. Security was available.

The High Museum of Art is one of my favorite places to go when I want to get away. It’s peaceful, inspiring, and always has something new to see. The exhibits are well put together, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing — a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some creativity.

Was in town for a short few hours and came across this place and they had the show on the Viktor and Rolf exhibit and I was blown away by all their designs and how well structured the experience was designed. The place also has many floors with lots of art to explore.

This museum has some really beautiful exhibits. It’s surprisingly spacious with a substantial and not overwhelming amount of artworks. Definitely try to come during the 2nd Sunday of the month because it will be free admission!!!

My daughter is an aspiring artist so it's always nice to visit the high museum so she can gather inspiration. They offer so many cool events here that cater to a myriad of audiences. It's aways a learning experience. We thoroughly enjoy every visit.

The Fox Theatre, a restored opulent theater built in the 1920s, is a historic landmark that has been repurposed into a modern performance venue.
I absolutely love the Fox! It is classy, and people know how to act! I like to go where people know how to act! I have been here many times and seen plays from Tyler Perry to The Color Purple! Comedy shows ranging from Chris Tucker to Kountry Wayne! I always have a great time at the Fox! I started taking my oldest son and now I take my youngest. They are 12 years apart. The Fox has never disappointed me.

We want to watch "Back to the Future, The Musical" and had a fabulous time period. Great seats and decent prices on concessions. This is a historically old theater so its a bit quirky with seating numbers. But very beautiful decor and amazing theater.
James Z — Google review
Catching Back to the Future at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta was an incredible experience! The Fox itself is a show before the show—the Egyptian-themed interior is breathtaking, unique, and every seat offers a great view of the stage. The production brought back so many childhood memories. The acting was spot-on, and the stage effects were seriously impressive. You could feel the joy in the audience the entire time. If Back to the Future makes a stop in a city near you, I highly recommend going. It’s nostalgic, fun, and a true crowd-pleaser!

⭐️⭐️ As someone who adores a historic Atlanta landmark and loves a good spooky story, I had high hopes for the Haunted History Tour at the iconic Fox Theatre. The idea of exploring one of the city’s most beautiful venues definitely sparked my curiosity — I was ready for ghostly tales, eerie legends, and maybe even a peek behind the velvet curtain. Unfortunately, the experience fell a bit flat. While the tour was rich in historical detail, it didn’t quite deliver on the “haunted” side of things. We weren’t able to access many of the areas I’d been hoping for — no stage, backstage views, or even the mysterious hospital room I’ve always heard whispers about. I was secretly hoping for a ride in what I’m convinced is the original freight elevator, but that didn’t happen either. For $25, I expected something a bit more immersive or exclusive — something that would make me see the Fox in a new light beyond what you’d experience attending a show. Instead, it felt more like a standard history tour with light spooky seasoning. I still think the Fox is one of Atlanta’s most magical spaces, and I’d love to come back next year to try their Ghost Tour, which I hear leans more into animated storytelling and atmosphere. But as for the Haunted History Tour — once was enough..but definitely at 1/2 the price.

Attended a private function in the Egypt inspired ballroom. Very elegant, intregite details and lighting. Wait staff and bartenders were A+!
Janice G — Google review
Super venue! Saw Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson in the VIP Orchestra section. Stayed for a Q & A. The architecture in the Fox is a magnificent Moroccan classic style. The bathroom lighting is ancient and it could use an update. Otherwise it is a fabulous venue
Shez K — Google review
Amazing and beautiful theatre! However, seats creaked throughout the entire performance! Not only ours, but everywhere! it was very distracting!!!
Ekaterina S — Google review
I cannot say enough great things about the FOX! I am a wheelchair user and everyone from security onwards took such great care of me, making sure I was safe, could find the accessible bathrooms, and my seat. Everyone I met was so kind. The venue is simply breathtaking and we greatly enjoyed the show. I will definitely go back!

Nestled in the vibrant Buckhead neighborhood, the Atlanta History Center is a treasure trove of Georgia's rich past and cultural heritage. Spanning 33 acres, this expansive center features an impressive array of attractions including the Atlanta History Museum—one of the largest in the country—and the Centennial Olympic Games Museum. Visitors can explore living history programs at Smith Family Farm, admire the elegance of Swan House, or delve into research at the Kenan Research Center.
We had a wonderful time. We especially love how much the history center encompasses with the Swan House and trails and farm houses and main exhibits. We spent a while walking the trails. We also really enjoyed the Cyclorama oil painting. The exhibit complements the painting extremely well. The employees were kind, especially Jack who helped set up our visit in the perfect way.
Spencer P — Google review
This is a really good place to visit if you are in Atlanta and want to understand its past. The location is perfect and the grounds are beautiful. Everyone should see the Cyclorama, the Swan House and Olympics area. There was a great exhibit on Hank Aaron as well. My only negative is that there are too many kids that are allowed to run around the museum and treat it like it is a playground. This is not specific to the kids section. Inside the Swan House, there was a group of half a dozen kids running up and down the stairs. Inside the Hank Aaron exhibit, there was a group of young kids seemingly on a field trip running laps and playing. I don't think I ever saw one museum employee the entire time. It really takes away from the experience of a museum. I also want to point out that the gift shop could use better options also. We were looking for a magnet of the Center and could not find one. This is rare for a museum of this type.
Jeremiah S — Google review
The cyclorama was truly stunning. Words cannot describe the amount of effort the 17 German artists must’ve went through to paint it, and the effort put into preserving it. So happy it was though! The video presentation was great and I would recommend it for a little bit more insight on the history of it. The Swan House was also beautiful, an astonishing statement in architecture and it was fascinating to see what house style house was for people with high status.

My kid had great time in the Goizueta Children’s Experience Place. There were plenty of things to play and my toddler spent almost two hours playing with toys, slide, games etc. The gallery was very spacious and clean, and there was always staff inside to help in case you need anything. This is definitely a favorite place of my family and it is nuce that the Atlanta History Center offers famliy pass so we can revisit anytime.
Cherish — Google review
The Atlanta History Center was genuinely one of the most incredible places I have ever set foot in. We learned so much in the span of the couple hours we were there. As visitors from Orlando, the Atlanta History Center really allowed us to experience Atlanta culture and the rich history that the city has. We did the guided tour of the Smith Farm and our tour guide was great - she also tended the farm along with a man who I don’t remember the name of. Both of them were so sweet and made our trip very memorable. We also got to pet some adorable goats at the farm. The one thing I will say is, get there early and plan to spend the day. We thought we would be able to get through the museum in 3 hours but we weren’t able to explore the gardens and a few of the exhibits due to time. We plan to visit again and explore the rest of the AHC. This visit was the highlight of our trip. Thank you to everyone who makes this place possible, and the experience so surreal. To get to experience this was a privilege.
SHAHD A — Google review
I always recommend the Atlanta History Center to anyone from out of town. It's a great retelling of the city's history and has several features that add to its unique charm. Between the panorama, the Swan House, and the grounds, a day at the AHC is a day well spent.
Ronie V — Google review
Overall, I enjoyed my time at the Atlanta History Center despite some exhibition closures since there is plenty of things to see and learn about the aspects of Atlanta. The Swan House was especially interesting since almost everything in that house are originals dating back to the early 20th century or earlier.

Centennial Olympic Park, located in downtown Atlanta, was built for the 1996 Olympic Games and is now a vibrant public park featuring walking paths, water gardens, and the iconic Fountain of Rings. Situated near popular attractions like the National Center for Civil & Human Rights and the Georgia Aquarium, the park offers a mobile website tour highlighting downtown's history and architecture.
A very nice park with waterfalls and lots of beautiful landscaping. We were there when the dancing lights were on display and it was awesome. We rode the skyview and it was great as well. The park closes at 10. It is clean and well taken care of. Would highly recommend visiting here.

Expected more space before I visited, however it’s covered in Olympic history/cultire. Very cute and green park!!! Nice waters and even a spot for the children to play, clean public bathrooms, surprisingly a nice place to even do a picnic! I liked it a lot
De’Asia D — Google review
A nice enough park which is pleasant to walk through and has a good number of things to admire. It’s well kept and a popular place, with some nice restaurants and bars surrounding. Well worth taking the time to wander through on any first time in the city.
Steve B — Google review
Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta is one of the city’s most iconic and beautifully maintained public spaces, created as a legacy of the 1996 Olympic Games. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the park serves as both a tribute to the Olympic spirit and a lively gathering place for residents and visitors alike. Its open green spaces, fountains, and scenic walkways make it an ideal destination for relaxation, recreation, and reflection. The park is immaculately maintained throughout the year. The lawns are lush and green, flower beds are well-kept, and the cleanliness of the pathways and seating areas is commendable. The landscaping has been thoughtfully designed to create a balance between open areas and shaded spots, allowing visitors to enjoy the park comfortably in every season. Whether you are out for a walk, a jog, or simply to unwind after visiting nearby attractions like the World of Coca-Cola or the Georgia Aquarium, the park offers a refreshing break from the urban rush. One of the most striking features of Centennial Olympic Park is the Fountain of Rings, a spectacular interactive water fountain designed in the shape of the Olympic rings. It is a favorite spot for families, especially children, who love playing in the dancing waters synchronized to music. In the evenings, the fountain show with colorful lights and music creates a joyful atmosphere that draws crowds and photographers alike. The park also holds great historical and emotional significance. Several monuments and plaques across the area commemorate the 1996 Summer Olympics and honor athletes and volunteers who contributed to its success. There’s a sense of pride and nostalgia in the air as you walk through, reminding visitors of Atlanta’s moment on the global stage. The Olympic torch replica and engraved bricks featuring the names of donors and supporters add to the charm and authenticity of the experience. In terms of accessibility, the park is very visitor-friendly. There are wide, well-marked walkways suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Public restrooms, security personnel, and seating arrangements are available throughout the park. The surrounding area is vibrant, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and attractions within walking distance. Public transportation and parking facilities are also conveniently located nearby. The park frequently hosts live concerts, cultural events, and seasonal festivals, which bring it to life with energy and music. During holidays, especially around Christmas and New Year, the decorations and lighting make the entire area look magical. Despite being located in a busy part of the city, the park maintains a peaceful and family-friendly environment. Overall, Centennial Olympic Park is a must-visit landmark in Atlanta — a place that combines history, beauty, and recreation. It represents the city’s transformation from its Olympic legacy into a modern, welcoming hub for all. Whether you’re a local seeking a relaxing afternoon or a traveler exploring downtown Atlanta, this park offers a memorable and uplifting
Dr T — Google review
A must-visit Atlanta landmark right in downtown. The park offers plenty of picnic areas and clean restrooms, making it convenient for families and groups. It’s a pleasant place for a walk, and you’ll also find many attractions nearby to explore.
Kelly L — Google review
As my first time in Atlanta, visiting this park was on my top to do list recommended by lot of “things to do in Atlanta“. The park was clean and felt safe since it’s right across the aquarium and World of Coca-Cola, we crossed right over after visiting those experiences. The park had a nice walking trail around the park but aside from that there wasn’t too much to do or vendors around. For my first time experience, this park was very interesting and found a lot of history to it. To me this is more of a one time experience but definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Atlanta for their first time. Note: the Ferris wheel is right across the street. I recommend doing it to get night view and pictures of the downtown skyline 🏙️. 🙂 Time: 40 minutes Clean: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crowd: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Interactive: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Centennial Olympic Park is a true gem in the heart of the city. The park is amazingly maintained, with pristine green spaces, sparkling water features, and immaculately clean pathways. It's clear that a great deal of care goes into keeping the park in such good order. The beautiful landscaping and well-kept facilities make for a peaceful and enjoyable experience, whether you're strolling through the grounds, relaxing by the Fountain of Rings, or attending one of the many events. The park's cleanliness and excellent upkeep truly enhance its beauty and make it a must-visit destination.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta is a significant site that honors the life and work of the renowned Civil Rights leader. Visitors can explore various historic buildings and exhibitions that delve into Dr. King's legacy and the Civil Rights movement. The Visitor Center offers insightful exhibits and films, while the King Center provides additional displays. Notable attractions within the park include Dr.
A Profound and Powerful Experience Visiting the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park was one of the most moving and educational experiences of my life. From Dr. King’s birth home to the Ebenezer Baptist Church and the museum exhibits, every part of the park tells a story of courage, justice, and hope. The exhibits are rich with historical detail, and standing in the same church where Dr. King preached gave me chills. The visitor center is thoughtfully curated and offers deep insights into the civil rights movement and Dr. King's powerful legacy. The reflection pool and eternal flame are peaceful and solemn, encouraging visitors to pause and reflect. This park is not just a place to visit — it’s a place to feel, learn, and be inspired. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Atlanta. It’s free, family-friendly, and a must-see for all generations.

Visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. museum in Atlanta was an incredible and moving experience. The exhibits are powerful, well put together, and truly capture the life, legacy, and impact of Dr. King. Walking through his childhood home, the church where he preached, and seeing the exhibits dedicated to the civil rights movement makes history come alive in a very real way. The museum is both educational and inspiring—it leaves you reflecting deeply on how far we’ve come and how much work is still left to do. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. This is more than just a museum—it’s a must-visit landmark of American history that everyone should experience at least once.

A wonderful remembrance of the things others have done to promote peace for all races. The monument is well kept and beautiful to behold. Very relaxing and serene. DR. King and his wife are buried next to each other in the stones shown below. This is must see tourist attraction about one of the most important events in history.

This National Historical Park is an absolute cornerstone of American history. It masterfully connects the personal life of Dr. King to his world-changing movement, creating a powerful, deeply felt experience. ✨ Top 3 Must-See Moments: Dr. King's Birth Home: Seeing the modest, two-story house grounds his immense story in a humble reality. Even if the full interior tour isn't available, the street and ranger presentation vividly bring his childhood in Sweet Auburn to life. The King Center & Eternal Flame: The reflection pool and the tombs of Dr. and Mrs. King provide a powerful space for quiet reverence. It’s a somber, yet incredibly inspiring, place to reflect on their sacrifice. Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church: Standing inside the sanctuary where Dr. King preached is a truly awe-inspiring moment. This was the spiritual and strategic heart of the movement, and you can practically feel the history in the air. Personal Takeaway: The park isn't just about looking back; it's a powerful call to action. It shows how one family and one neighborhood launched a global movement for nonviolent change. It's an essential, moving pilgrimage for all generations. Service offers a valuable ranger-led presentation about the home next door, and all other areas of the park are open!
Francesco M — Google review
I recently explored the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta and found it to be an incredibly moving and enriching experience. The park spans nearly 35 acres in the historic Sweet Auburn district, offering a wide range of landmarks tied to Dr. King’s life—from his childhood home and Ebenezer Baptist Church to the King Center and Freedom Hall. Starting at the Visitor Center, I joined a free ranger-led presentation that provided essential context before touring the birth home and the church. The emotional weight of standing where Dr. King lived and worshiped is truly unforgettable. Highlights include the serene World Peace Rose Garden, the “Behold” statue, the Walk of Fame honoring civil rights leaders, and the final resting place of Dr. and Mrs. King—marked by a reflective Eternal Flame. The park is thoughtfully laid out and very accessible, with plenty of space to reflect, learn, and engage. It’s a vital piece of our nation’s history and a must-visit for anyone in Atlanta.

We went to Atlanta for the purpose of the free museum and it's a great place to take the kids to learn about such a iconic guy in American history. Wish they had more statues of him around. It was a lot of photos. It would've been nice to see more life size statues. I was surprised to see that he was buried across from the museum in a fountain that was such a blessing. We had no idea he was laid to rest with his wife. I wish the house that he grew up in was open when we went. We did walk down the historic neighborhood and got to see all the old school houses that was really nice. I just wish we were able to go inside and get a tour. We didn't go in time for the church tour but for it to be free and the surprise of him being buried there was a great experience overall.

This was great. There's some cool music stuff outside for the kids, there's a cool walk of fame kinda thing with cool footprints, but best was the indoors with the multimedia. The voting questions and video on the struggle were informative, and I've read many of his speeches. The shop next to his childhood home was *excellent*. The church is iconic. 10/10 will go learn Again.

Very peaceful place to visit. Your not allowed to take pictures in the exhibition areas but you can outside. The issue I had was that there was construction and fencing posted so getting to the actual place was a bit of a walk.

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, located just five minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta, offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and legacy of the 39th president of the United States. Visitors can explore his humble beginnings in Plains, Georgia, his education, political career, and presidency from 1977 to 1981. The museum features an array of memorabilia, photos, film clips from his career as well as a replica of the Oval Office.
So incredibly well done. This place is a treasure trove of history and memorabilia. The grounds are beautiful too; we went in the dead of winter, but I can see how it would be even more amazing when things start to bloom. I highly recommend this place to…..well, anyone. They show you a 15 minute video in the beginning (you can skip it and go straight on through to the museum if you wish). Pick up your scavenger hunt list and golf pencil outside the theater if you’re into that sort of thing. Nifty idea. As you walk through the museum, and there’s a good bit to go through if you’re reading everything, it’s really pretty cool. My favorite display was the gifts that he and Mrs. Carter were given from other heads of state. Really incredible stuff to see. The replica of Carter’s Oval Office is fantastic!! Anyone who lived in the 80’s will appreciate the decor and items in there. The items at the end, marking his post-office ventures, were fascinating as well. His work boots and display, hammer and tape measure, and loads of items and tools from his work to help folks in other countries ward off disease. Say what you want about this presidency, but President Carter and Mrs. Carter were truly great people. I don’t think I ever fully grasped their tireless actions for good, and the impact they had on so many.

🇺🇸 Visiting the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library was a truly inspiring experience. The museum is beautifully designed and offers a thoughtful look into President Carter’s life, legacy, and the values he stood for. The exhibits are informative, well-curated, and easy to follow—even if you’re not a history buff, there’s so much to learn and appreciate here. I was especially moved by the focus on human rights and global peace. The surrounding garden and peaceful atmosphere made the visit even more special. It’s definitely a must-visit spot in Atlanta. 5 stars without a doubt!

I would think the Carter center is the crown jewel of Atlanta. I finally met President Carter for the time, but unfortunately, not the way that I originally wanted. I attended the memorial service on January 6, 2025 when President Carter was lying in repose. It allowed me to tour the Carter Center which exhibits are the visual biography of President Carter. Not only is the Carter Center beautiful, but also its surrounding areas.

I gave 4 stars because I dont think there is enough engagement for children. 5 stars if only adults go. On par with the Johnson museum. Not as good as Reagan's. Excellent after-presidency information. Honest. Includes the tough parts and short-comings of the administration. Wish the Oval Office still looked as American as this one.
Nicole B — Google review
Nice, smaller than other Presidential libraries visited. Located in a quiet section east of downtown. Organized very well; starts with a 15 minute looping video; proceeds through his life - presidency - final 4 decades of humanitarian service as well as Roselyn’s service and assistance. He refused to be defined by 4 years as president, just a fraction of his 100 years. Worked with Habitat for Humanity for 25 years; Carter Center forging free and fair elections and Guinea worm eradication are just some of his post presidency accomplishments. He was a fine man who never forgot his roots.
Judy M — Google review
Visited as a walk in on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait. The exhibits are interesting and seeing part of the library was a great highlight of the museum. Additionally walking around the property is a great experience on its own. There’s also a college student discount which is a plus.

The Museum offers a fascinating and comprehensive look at one of America's most impactful presidents. The exhibits masterfully chronicle Carter's journey from his humble beginnings in Plains, Georgia, through his naval career, governorship, presidency, and his remarkable post-presidential humanitarian work with The Carter Center. I was particularly moved by the displays showcasing his dedication to human rights, conflict resolution, and disease eradication in developing nations. The museum does an excellent job highlighting his key presidential accomplishments, including the Camp David Accords and his emphasis on energy policy and environmental protection. The museum's interactive elements and detailed timelines help visitors understand both the challenges of his presidency and his extraordinary post-presidential legacy of humanitarian work. I visited while President Carter was still with us, and following his passing in late 2024, the museum stands as an even more powerful testament to his lifetime of service. His work through The Carter Center, his commitment to Habitat for Humanity, and his dedication to global peace truly exemplify a life lived in service to others. A must-visit for anyone interested in presidential history, humanitarian work, or understanding how one person's dedication to public service can impact millions of lives worldwide.

First time visiting a presidential library and I can see why people really make the effort to visit these locations across the country. It was so impressive and moving to see how great former president carter was as a person. His character spoke what the true American spirit should be which is helping others! So much history in the museum and I learned so much. This will serve as the beginning of my journey to visit all the presidential libraries across this country

Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta is a versatile sports arena that hosts both soccer and football games, making it a popular attraction for sports enthusiasts. The stadium features a striking circular video display and offers various food options, including burgers, salads, pizza, beer, and tacos. Its distinctive roof adds to the unique experience as it appears to rotate when opening and closing. Hosting the 2019 Super Bowl further solidified its status as a premier venue.
had a fantastic time at Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the Commanders vs. Falcons game. Entry and exit were impressively smooth — minimal wait times, clear signage, and well-trained staff made the flow effortless. Concessions were a major highlight: the “fan first” pricing really shows — hot dogs, soda, popcorn, pretzels all hovered in the $2–$3 range, cheeseburgers around $5, fries about $6. It’s almost unheard of at a major stadium, and it didn’t feel like any corners were cut. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful — ushers, concession workers, security — everyone seemed to take pride in making your experience positive. From my seat, I had a clean, unobstructed view of the field; the sightlines were strong and immersive. Overall, it’s rare to see a stadium that balances affordability, efficiency, and atmosphere so well — I’d happily go back.

As a dedicated Saints fan, attending a Falcons game on September 11, 2022, was an adventurous choice. Despite the intense rivalry, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we received minimal hostility just a few playful jabs. The game was thrilling, culminating in a narrow victory for the Saints, 27–26. We purchased field-level tickets, which offered an incredible view of the action. Our children, attending their first NFL game, were so captivated that they eventually dozed off in their seats a testament to the excitement of the experience. For parking, we utilized one of the nearby garages and enjoyed a short walk to the stadium. The area around the stadium is vibrant, with various dining and entertainment options, making it convenient for families. Mercedes-Benz Stadium is renowned for its fan-friendly pricing. Concessions are reasonably priced, with items like hot dogs, popcorn, and sodas available for just $2 each. A satisfying meal for a family of four can be had for under $50, which is a rarity in today's sports venues. The stadium's design is impressive, featuring a retractable roof and a circular video board that provides unparalleled views from every seat. It's a modern facility that offers a top-notch fan experience. Overall, our visit to Mercedes-Benz Stadium was a memorable family outing. Whether you're a Falcons fan or just looking to enjoy a game, this stadium offers an exceptional experience.

Absolutely gorgeous Stadium state-of-the-art facility that is a must go to when you're in Georgia for any type of event I would definitely take the chance and go. Went on a Sunday for 1:00 game against the Falcons my Dolphins were playing and we dominated and won that game so great. We got free t-shirts and souvenirs to take home I loved this place. Will definitely go back again when I go to Georgia again next year.

We came there for my first Dirty Birds game. The stadium is beautiful and has everything you need. Drinks were a little wild as it was $26 for 2 24oz beers (that would cost you $5 at any gas station). Food was decent but not as good as they made it out to be online.. burger was small and slight dry and the pizza was middle of the mall at best. The lines were always long but they seemed to move fairly quick. The seating is nice and everything feels close to the action. The dome is a sight to see. Would love to come back... hopefully we will get a win next time... wishful thinking 😂

As a guest who visited the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Premier League Summer Series, I can say it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. This is truly a world-class venue that sets the bar for what a modern stadium should be. The staff at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium are truly top-notch. Everyone we interacted with, from the security guards at the entrance to the concession workers and ushers, was incredibly friendly and helpful. Their positive and welcoming attitude made a huge difference, ensuring that every fan felt at home. It’s clear that a strong emphasis is placed on customer service, and it really shows in the overall atmosphere of the stadium. Beyond the staff, the stadium itself is an architectural marvel. The design is breathtaking, and the "Halo Board," the 360-degree video screen, is a game-changer, making sure you don't miss a single moment of the action no matter where you are seated. The retractable roof, which was closed for the matches, kept the energy and sound contained, creating an electrifying atmosphere that amplified the cheers of the Premier League fans. The concourses are wide and easy to navigate, and the "fan-friendly" concession prices are a huge bonus that makes the experience even better. To top it all off, we had the opportunity to take the stadium tour, and it was nothing short of amazing. The tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate, providing fascinating insights into the history, design, and technology of the stadium. Getting to see the locker rooms, the press box, and walking on the field itself was a surreal and unforgettable experience. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the thought and effort that went into creating this incredible venue. Attending the Premier League Summer Series here was a dream come true. The matches were fantastic, but the setting at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium elevated the entire event. Whether you're a sports fan or just looking for a unique and memorable outing, a visit here is an absolute must. The combination of an amazing stadium, friendly staff, and an incredible tour made for a perfect day.

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is absolutely incredible modern, clean, and one of the most impressive sports venues in the world. The architecture is stunning, especially the retractable roof design that makes the whole experience feel futuristic. The seating is comfortable with great visibility from every angle, and the huge circular video screen is amazing for watching replays and highlights. The atmosphere during games and concerts is electric! The sound system and lighting are top-notch, and everything feels well organized and safe. Food and drink options are excellent too, with surprisingly fair prices compared to most major stadiums. Whether you’re here for a football game, soccer match, or concert, Mercedes-Benz Stadium offers an unforgettable experience. It’s a world-class venue that perfectly combines design, comfort, and excitement.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a day at Mercedes-Benz Stadium! I went to the Falcons game and they WON 🙌🏽 The energy in the building was insane — fans were hyped, the music was on point, and every seat had a great view. The stadium itself is gorgeous, super clean, and easy to navigate. Concessions were quick, bathrooms spotless, and the staff was friendly and organized from start to finish. Between the tailgate vibes outside and the win inside, it was the perfect Monday night Football ! Rise Up 🖤❤️

Mercedes Benz Stadium is one of the most beautiful stadiums we have ever visited! Although it was cold and rainy, the dome was closed and the atmosphere was electrifying! The concession stand prices are extremely affordable and provide quick service! The restroom was clean with plenty of stalls. If you ever have the opportunity to attend a game or an event at Mercedes Benz Stadium……please don’t hesitate. You will be impressed!!

Ponce City Market is a lively marketplace housed in a historic Sears building, featuring a diverse array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The Roof offers an elevated experience with Skyline Park, boasting carnival games and mini golf, 9 Mile Station serving European-inspired cuisine and craft brews with panoramic views, and RFD Social for indoor festivities. Additionally, the market itself presents an abundance of shops and food stalls to explore.
So many people have been telling me I needed to go to this place and I kept thinking what’s the big deal….shops and food?!? This place is GREAT! Tried food I had never had, unique shops that are fun just to explore and then my date told me we were going to the roof….what? Now I know what people were talking about! So much fun! Tons of carnival games, putt putt, slide and roller skating! The view is beautiful as well! Fun for adults and kids! Going back for my birthday in a couple weeks!

Ponce City Market is one of those places where you go “just to look around” and end up spending half your day (and wallet if you love food😅). The vibe is super lively – a fun mix of food, boutique shops, art, and people-watching. Great spot for visitors or when you have no set plan but want to explore. Food hall has something for everyone – though seating can be a bit of a hunt during peak hours. The rooftop is definitely a highlight, but do check timings and tickets in advance. Parking is... let’s say “city style” – slightly painful unless you are lucky or patient. All in all, it’s the kind of place that makes Atlanta feel cool without trying too hard. Worth visiting again and again!

My wife and I had a great time at the Ponce City Market. Parking was easy and fairly inexpensive ($7-3hrs.). Tons of great restaurants and shops to explore. It was very clean and decorated beautifully for Halloween.

Wow PCM is really an amazing huge industrial space filled with so much good food and drink it's almost overwhelming. We spent better part of 4hrs here a few days ago just exploring and trying so many different things from Bibi lamb and labneh sandwich to another amazing sandwich at El Pan. Had cocktails at Atrium. Could've eaten my way through the entire place although that would take months. Cannot wait to go back!

Had such a nice time walking around Ponce City market during my trip to Atlanta. I loved El Super Pan, Glad and Young, and Posman Books. The vibes were perfect - It would be the perfect place to hang out and work remotely.

Such a neat market with GREAT variety in both food options and unique shops. We did a little browsing in the shops, but we're mainly there for lunch options in the food hall. My sisters both got fabulous Mexican food from one restaurant, while I had chose El Super Pan for lunch. I got the boxed lunch with a 1/2 Cubano, side salad (or you can get a side of rice & beans), a cookie, and my choice of agua Fresca (I picked guava, but the soursop was amazing, too!). All of that for $16. I couldn't even finish it all. Multiple options for dessert or a sweet treat, but we settled on Saint Germain. Nice variety of macarons, chocolates, and exquisite pastries. They're all so beautiful, it's hard to take that first forkful. I limited myself to just one dessert to take with me, and it was a great choice. I got the pear tart, which was so dense it felt like it weighed a pound! It ended up being eaten over three separate sittings. You can't make a wrong choice there, I truly believe. So much to see and do there. It is a definite repeat stop the next time we're in ATL. I can only imagine how spectacular the living spaces are there

Ponce City Market is one of the best spots to explore in Atlanta if you’re into food, shopping, and cool vibes all in one place. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, it feels like a modern urban marketplace with a lot of character. The Central Food Hall is packed with great eats—from ramen and burgers to upscale Southern cuisine and fresh pastries. It does get busy, especially on weekends, so expect some crowds. But the variety and quality make it worth it. There’s also a rooftop area (The Roof) that offers amazing skyline views, fun games, and even mini golf—definitely a must-do if you’re visiting for the first time. Besides food, the retail shops are fun to browse, with a mix of local boutiques and bigger brands. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but they do have a paid deck and valet if you’re not up for hunting a spot. it’s a great place to spend an afternoon or evening—whether you’re grabbing a bite, meeting friends, or just soaking in the atmosphere.

Zoos & Aquariums
The Georgia Aquarium is a renowned attraction and one of the largest aquariums globally, featuring thousands of animals from hundreds of species across eight galleries. From freshwater creatures in the 'Southern Company River Scout' exhibit to massive whale sharks in the 'Ocean Voyager' gallery, the aquarium offers a diverse marine life experience. Additionally, visitors can enjoy special events like Sips Under the Sea, transforming the family-friendly destination into an adults-only cocktail party with live music and exclusive access to all galleries.
This place is truly magical. From the moment we stepped in, there was so much to see and do. The layout is uniquely organized and allows you to explore at your own pace. We went during the month of October, so got the added bonus of The Haunted Seas decor tastefully added around. The sheer size of the tanks and habitats were very impressive and even though it was crowded, there was still room for everyone to move around and explore at their own pace. Plenty of information on display, as well as employees throughout both offering further educational info and being available for any questions. There were also quite a few tunnels that take you under tanks, for different viewpoints. There are dolphin and sea lion shows available, included in general admission but needing spots to be reserved ahead of time. For us, there were many highlights. From the whale shark, to the belugas, to the tiger shark, to the dolphins. We spent a little over 2 hours here but could easily have spent longer. Would highly recommend this aquarium to all who love the ocean and the creatures who call it home.

Very fun! We went on a Friday so it wasn’t crowded. The Halloween decorations were cute, the seal show was adorable, we got to see the last og whale shark, they had a whole bioluminescence walkway, etc. It’s better to go on a weekday at a weird hour, it’ll less crowded and you won’t have to wait hours to see an exhibit or get your food. Speaking of food, ITS EXPENSIVEEE!! I got a hamburger, fries, refillable soda, and a mini chocolate cake, and it cost $32, the food was good but dang! The seating area, soda machines, and condiment stations are very clean! All in all, it was very fun :)) Gal approved!🫧

We loved everything about this place. We purchased the City Pass and this was one of the options, although this was the only attraction we really wanted to see. If you are planning on going, allot several hours, if not all day as there is so much to see and do. You won't be disappointed.

The Georgia Aquarium is truly a world-class experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. They offer garage parking, which made access super convenient—especially helpful for families or anyone visiting during peak hours. Inside, the facility is impressively large, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. You never feel cramped, even with a crowd. The exhibits are stunning and well-maintained, showcasing a wide variety of marine life—from playful otters and majestic beluga whales to mesmerizing jellyfish and vibrant coral reefs. What really stood out was the staff. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the animals and the guest experience. They were happy to answer questions and made sure everyone felt engaged and informed. Whether you're a local or visiting from out of town, the Georgia Aquarium is a must-see destination. It's educational, entertaining, and beautifully run.

This is perhaps one of the best aquariums I've been to in quite a while. A lot of students and teachers showed up which made it always interesting. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The attractions were excellent as well. $64 for adults and I don't know what it was for under 18 but this is a must see if you come to Atlanta.

Breathtaking, beautiful place. I could sit all day and watch the mesmerizing creatures swim in the huge tank. Take your time and see all the exhibits. I visited the King Center in Atlanta and it left a lasting impression. Nestled within the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, the Center offers an emotionally resonant experience that's both welcoming and deeply meaningful. Freedom Hall showcases powerful exhibits honoring Dr. and Mrs. King, as well as Rosa Parks and Mahatma Gandhi, connecting their stories through art, photos, and immersive storytelling. Outside, the Reflecting Pool and Eternal Flame envelop the space in quiet reverence, while the adjoining Peace and Meditation Garden—a beautiful spot where visitors can speak into a sculptural installation—invites reflection and healing. Kids are also welcomed with engaging, hands-on exhibits like "Children of Courage" and interactive displays that make history feel alive. Admission is completely free, and the location is ideal—just steps away from Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Visitor Center, making it easy to explore multiple historic sites in one visit. In short: The King Center is a thoughtfully curated space that honors legacy, inspires contemplation, and welcomes visitors of all ages. A deeply memorable visit that’s as educational as it is moving.

Although it was nice walking through the area and learning more about Martin Luther King Jr and the civil rights movement itself, the ongoing construction and the government shutdown made it a little bit disappointing. I would return again in the future once construction is done and the government shutdown is over.

I had the chance to visit the MLK Jr Center at the end of a work trip. I have studied the work of the King Family and I applaud the continued legacy. Like MLK Jr, I was born on Jan 15 and was beside myself when the opportunity came for me to visit. This place is part of the National Park System and is properly protected. Visiting is an experience that you must have when you visit Atlanta...and the Jackson Street Bridge is nearby to take in a great view of the Atlanta skyline!

Swan House at Atlanta History Center is a beautifully restored neoclassical mansion and gardens originally built in 1928 for wealthy cotton heirs, Edward and Emily Inman. The house, designed by architect Philip T. Shutze, sits on 28 acres in Buckhead, north of Atlanta. Visitors can explore the historic mansion with its amazing details and stroll through the picturesque gardens. The Inmans' wealth from cotton brokerage and investments in various industries is reflected in the grandeur of Swan House.
As an Atlanta Wedding Photographer I have the privilege of spending time in dozens of beautiful venues, and Atlanta History Center's Swan House is my absolute favorite. From engagement sessions to weddings, from fall through summer, the grounds are absolutely stunning and make for the perfect backdrop for elegant affairs and fine art portraiture. If I were getting married it would hands down be my top venue, and it will be yours too if you are lucky enough to experience the breathtaking grounds & beautiful historic architecture in person. Highly sought after and worthy of all the nationally-recognized prestige. Trust me, nothing compares. She is the best of the best and is without a doubt the most beautiful, iconic wedding venue in the nation!

So many gorgeous rooms to tour in! We spent a good 2 hours here taking pictures and we didn’t even look at the exhibit of imported china in the basement. Really loved the experience.

One of the most stunning, yet underrated, destinations in Atlanta. The Swan House is nestled in the glorious greens of Buckhead, a paved walkway leading you there from the main Atlanta History Center building. (Don’t miss the gardens! A lovely pre cursor to this gorgeous sight.) When you arrive you’ll probably be looking at the back of it, but don’t be alarmed. The views from both back and front are absolutely breathtaking, transporting you back to the times of yesteryear. The house itself was exquisitely decorated, and you were able to get rather close to some artifacts. I went last year for my birthday in August, where they had a fascinating exhibit about the female interior designer of the house, which had me rapt in its detailed knowledge of her trailblazing life and relationship with the home. There was also another exhibit filled with porcelain that the owners collected. If you’re into entertaining or art at all, you’ll love this section. (It was a little drafty but that could have been when I went. This section was also very quiet, meaning you got the whole exhibit to yourself!) One minor thing (that could be on me) is that I wish there were tours of the home offered when I was present, but there very well could be and I could have just not seen them. However, the Swan House alone is worth $35, but seeming that it’s included with the rest of the museum (also lovely! The train section was cute), it’s an honest steal. If you love stunning architecture, Southern history (without some of the more painful details) and refined elegance, you’ll love this. (Aka, go!)

There's so much to see, here its quite relaxing and comfortable..Though keep in mind there is some walking to do..l would suggest and or recommend a Wheelchair or walker with you if needed, as the are not provided, bring this with you to help traverse these grounds as a whole..

Beautiful house with an amazing landscape surrounding the property. I found myself wondering why it’s called the “Swan House”—until I discovered the answer: hidden sculptures, furniture pieces, and tiny details featuring swans throughout the interior (I have some photos of swans that I found out) . Each one sparked curiosity and joy! It’s a stunning place for wedding photography.

So much fun and history all wrapped into one. Highly recommend this stop if you love architecture and history. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. The grounds are so serene.

Amazing, if you want to explore all the places be ready to walk! The experience takes a day but it's worth it. Great for history fans. The garden must be visited carefully if you are allergic to pollen. I loveeed it!

If you are visiting on a sunny day, leave room to tour the gardens. It is along the way from the History Center to the Swan House. They would be lovely in the spring.

Located in Atlanta, the World of Coca-Cola is a museum that showcases the history and success of the iconic soft drink that debuted in the city in 1886. The museum features interactive exhibits, films, and memorabilia related to Coca-Cola's journey from Dr. John Pemberton's headache syrup to becoming a global phenomenon. Visitors can enjoy a 4D theater experience and taste over 100 Coke products from around the world.
This was such a fun experience to share with my sister! Growing up in a poor family, having a Coca-Cola at home meant it was Christmas or a very special celebration. So learning about its history and exploring the galleries brought back so much nostalgia. I also loved the interactive areas and games! There are plenty of great photo spots too, just be ready to wait a bit or find a less crowded corner. Definitely a must-visit when in Atlanta!

If you're a Coke fan, it's great. Lots to see and taste. I'm just a standard drinker who was there for an event. It was interesting to try variants from other countries for sure, and I'd make it a stop if you have time but there are more interesting places to see in the area. For me personally I'd give it a 3, but I'm rating it for the target audience. :)
Dave D — Google review
The World of Coca-Cola was a fun experience overall, though definitely more about the brand than the history behind it. There’s a little bit of nostalgia and storytelling sprinkled in, but most of it feels like one big advertisement — which, to be fair, is kind of what you expect when visiting the home of Coke. My favorite part was easily the picture scanners that morph your face into vintage Coca-Cola ads — such a clever and entertaining touch that makes for great keepsakes. The soda tasting room, on the other hand, was a bit too crowded to really enjoy. It’s fun in theory, but hard to savor the experience when you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with people. Still, it’s worth a visit if you’re in Atlanta and want a lighthearted, bubbly stop full of photo ops and brand nostalgia. Also please note you can find a cheaper ticket if you purchase from a third party.

A fun visit overall! The exhibits were engaging, and the atmosphere was lively and well-curated. The Coke tasting room was definitely the highlight—it felt like the most interactive and entertaining part of the experience. That said, most of the foreign soda options weren’t very good to our taste, but it was still fun to try them all. Great for families or anyone curious about the brand’s global reach. Worth checking out at least once!

It was a fascinating experience. I went on my last day in Atlanta and spent a good 3 hours there. For an additional charge you get a commemorative cup that you can fill with your favorite coca cola drink and take out of the museum. Even if you dont buy the cup, you get to sample so many coke flavors. My favorite exhibit was the stories of coke exhibit as you get to step back in time and its interactive media wise.

Loved the World of Coca-Cola! Fun place with great energy and a lot of cool history. The tasting room was my favorite part ,trying flavors from different countries was awesome. Staff were super friendly and everything was clean and well organized. Definitely worth a visit in Atlanta!

It was honestly better than I thought it would be. There is A LOT of information. It's pretty interesting to read/see if you can get close. It gets crowded quickly, so I'd recommend getting there right when it opens or during the week. The tasting room was pretty cool & unique. There's a cool little "cocacola" town inside. Lots of photo ops & very interactive exhibits. The gift shop in the end has some neat stuff, but it's a bit pricey. You can design and print your own coke can!

The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta is one of the city’s most iconic attractions, drawing visitors from around the world to explore the history and legacy of one of the most recognized brands on Earth. Located near Centennial Olympic Park, this museum-style experience is vibrant, colorful, and engaging, offering an interesting mix of history, entertainment, and marketing brilliance. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed with cheerful staff and an energetic atmosphere that reflects the brand’s image of happiness and refreshment. The exhibits are well-organized and neatly maintained, guiding guests through the fascinating timeline of Coca-Cola’s development — from its humble beginnings in 1886 to its evolution into a global symbol of joy and togetherness. As a medical professional, however, I found the scientific aspect of Coca-Cola’s creation rather simplified. The museum emphasizes the “secret formula” story, repeatedly mentioning that the recipe remains unknown and locked in a vault. While this adds an element of mystery, I believe the real challenge behind Coca-Cola’s success is not its formula but its exceptional marketing and branding strategies. The exhibits highlight this power of marketing — how a simple beverage became a cultural icon through clever advertising, emotional connection, and global outreach. The “Vault of the Secret Formula” section, although dramatic and beautifully designed, feels more symbolic than scientific. Still, it captures visitors’ curiosity effectively and makes for a fun photo opportunity. The display of historical posters, old glass bottles, and vintage advertisements truly reflects how Coca-Cola shaped popular culture across generations. The 4D theater experience adds a touch of thrill, combining humor, motion, and visual effects to entertain both children and adults. The museum also offers a well-curated collection of artifacts, including early bottling equipment, promotional materials, and even art inspired by Coca-Cola’s global influence. These exhibits are informative and nostalgic, giving a sense of how marketing, design, and consistency built an empire around a single product. One of the most enjoyable parts of the visit is the “Taste It!” gallery, where visitors can sample more than 100 different Coca-Cola beverages from around the world. It’s fascinating to experience how flavor preferences differ by region — from fruity African sodas to unique Asian blends and the classic American favorites. This interactive section is definitely the highlight of the tour and leaves visitors with a fun, memorable experience. The store at the end of the tour is well-stocked with exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise, souvenirs, and collectibles. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the variety and quality are worth it for fans and collectors. Overall, the World of Coca-Cola is a well-maintained and thoughtfully designed attraction. It’s more about storytelling and marketing than scientific innovation, but that’s precisely what makes it unique — it showcases the power of brand identity and emotional connection. While I personally found the medical or technical depth minimal, the museum offers an enjoyable and educational experience for visitors of all ages.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30-acre oasis in the heart of the city, offering a diverse range of attractions for visitors. From its stunning conservatory and enchanting fountains to hosting events like concerts and cocktail parties, it's a popular destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike. The garden is renowned for its world-class plant collections, captivating exhibitions, and unique features such as the Fuqua Orchid Center, showcasing rare high-altitude orchids.
Fantastic garden! Worth the day trip as a date with your partner, your parents or your kids — fun for all ages and group sizes. 🕣 Time spent: 2 hours (not including snack breaks or lunch onsite) The grounds were BEAUTIFUL! Carefully curated and manicured. Walking along the different areas was fun and the most breathtaking part was the conservatory — the 3 different climates housed in there was incredible and the size of the trees, you know they have been in there happy and healthy! ☕️ We even stopped for a food demo at the herb garden and were pleasantly surprised. The chef hosting that day was hilarious and knowledgeable — she had a great personality and taught us about eating (rather, drinking) fig leaf tea! ☀️ Time of year to visit: We unfortunately came at an in between while visiting Atlanta in which they just closed the Alice in Wonderland installation and were building the fall pumpkin themed area — which was closed to the public. It would have been nice is the tickets were discounted since part of the grounds were not accessible during the installation process. 🕐 Wait time: We visited at opening 9 am on a Sunday in late September. The line was minimal (10 min) and the grounds were at a comfortable business. The later in the day around 12, the crowds and lines were definitely more noticeable.

🌸 Atlanta Botanical Garden: A Whimsical Wonderland in Bloom This was truly something I enjoyed! The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a lush, enchanting escape nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with a refreshing cocktail and a sense of magic in the air. The “Alice in Wonderland” theme added a playful, storybook charm—giant mushrooms, whimsical sculptures, and floral displays that felt straight out of a dream. Even with the heat, the beauty of the gardens and the creativity in every corner made it worth wandering. It’s more than a park—it’s a living gallery of nature and imagination. A perfect spot to slow down, sip something sweet, and let your senses bloom.

This was our first time visiting Atlanta, and the botanical garden was on our bucket list. My wife and I really enjoyed walking through all the different themed areas, the whole place was super clean and well taken care of. They gave us a map at the entrance that made it easy to find our way around, which helped a lot since the park is pretty big. The highlight for us was the indoor garden area. It was full of unique plants, facts, and displays—definitely our favorite part and something we’ll remember. We saw plants we’ve never seen before and learned a lot too. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d for sure come back again in the future. Note: save $4 by buying ticket online but processing is $2.50 per ticket. You have to pay additional for parking on site. I loved my visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden! It’s a large and beautiful place to walk around and explore. Depending on the season you visit, you’ll get a different experience. I went during Halloween, and everything was perfectly themed for fall — such a lovely atmosphere! One of my favorite parts was the Fuqua Orchid Center, absolutely stunning! Still, every area of the garden is worth admiring — the flowers, trees, and plants from so many different species make it a magical place. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some frogs in one of the sections! It’s a wonderful and family-friendly spot to enjoy nature and relax. I truly recommend it! 🌸🌳🍁 Also I’m visiting from Florida.

🌺 ATL Botanical Garden – A Jedi Master's Retreat Among Flora and Fantasy 🌿 Tranquility found, in the heart of Atlanta it is. Wandered into the ATL Botanical Garden I did, and emerged hours later fully immersed in a world where the Force flows not from kyber crystals—but from orchids, fountains, and sculpted artistry beyond imagination. The vibrant displays of orchids will ignite your senses like twin suns at dawn, while artful topiaries and glowing glass installations will make even the most seasoned Jedi pause and admire. Nature and creativity here dance in harmony like a well-executed lightsaber form. 🌸 Whether you're here to meditate among the greenery, chase younglings through the whimsical Children’s Garden, or stroll along the canopy walk with the wisdom of Yoda whispering in your ear, there’s something for all beings of the galaxy. ⚠️ Important quest you must complete: Do not miss the Alice in Wonderland displays—an enchanting floral takeover that runs only until September 14th. From blooming chess pieces to larger-than-life topiary characters, it’s a wonderland even the White Rabbit wouldn’t dare to rush through. 🌳 The entire space is a botanical adventure—interactive, beautifully maintained, and bursting with seasonal magic. A must-visit for photographers, families, couples, or travelers simply seeking peace. 💬 Final Verdict: A garden, this is not. A living Force temple, it is. Go, you must—and let your senses bloom.

This is a truly great garden, and I've visited quite a few! The unparalleled effort dedicated to their conservatory is immediately apparent and makes it a standout attraction. I particularly enjoyed the tranquility of the space, enhanced by the many calming walking paths. Beyond the beauty, the educational aspects are well-done and engaging. It's well worth a stop if you find yourself in the area.

I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't a bunch of already dead or dying plants. I'll chalk that up to the fact the season is changing but for a place that deals with flowers it shouldn't have that. Just my opinion. It had the Alice in Wonderland theme in some parts and they looked amazing. The singing flowers were the cutest. The scenes were nice but it was kinda boring. It's a great place for pictures tho. Lots of walking and if you get there early park on the top deck. It leads straight to the garden.

SkyView Atlanta is a must-visit destination for capturing the essence of Atlanta in one go. This 20-story Ferris wheel offers thrilling panoramic views of the city and its surrounding metropolitan area from its climate-controlled gondolas. Situated almost 20 stories high above Centennial Olympic Park, it provides a fresh perspective and stunning vistas of downtown's skyscraper-studded skyline.
I would definitely recommend this experience. The view was beautiful, and the Ferris wheel makes about five full rotations, which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the scenery. There is also a VIP option available, though I didn’t feel it was necessary. I found a great deal on Groupon, which also included a bag of chocolates which was a nice bonus. Parking is extremely limited and overpriced, so I suggest researching parking options before purchasing tickets. They also offer photo packages, and we purchased the bundle for under $40 Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely go again when visiting Atlanta. Thank you for the great memories!

SkyView Atlanta is a fun little experience, especially for kids who enjoy the novelty of riding a big Ferris wheel. The gondolas are enclosed and feel safe, so families can relax while enjoying the views. The ride itself is pretty short, though, and the views are decent but not spectacular compared to other spots in the city. It’s on the pricey side for what you get, but if you’re visiting with children, they’ll probably enjoy it.

Towering nearly 20 stories above Centennial Park, the SkyView Ferris wheel features 42 climate-controlled cars providing guests with breathtaking views of downtown Atlanta, Centennial Park, College Football Hall of Fame and the surrounding metropolitan area. Budget friendly $21 for 4 spins on the wheel . Best views are suggested at night .

SkyView Atlanta was such a fun experience! The Ferris wheel itself is super cool, and I loved being able to see the city from above. The only downside was that it had rained earlier in the day, so the windows weren’t the clearest and the view wasn’t as great as it could’ve been. Still, it was a really nice experience overall, and I’d definitely come back on a clearer day for the full view!
Samantha W — Google review
It was cool. I went in the afternoon due to it raining the 2 evenings I was there. It wasn’t packed when I went so there was no line paid $21 just for me. The seats are enclosed not open like a fair Ferris wheel and it was air conditioned. Went around 3/4 times and they made sure each rider was stopped at the top once.
Love B — Google review
Based off of general consensus 👉 2 out of 3 of us thought it was AMAZING! The experience: Arrive, wait in line for tickets (you can save a significant amount if you have a large party and order online, gondolas seat up to 6, there's no special entry for online ticket holders), purchase ticket's, wait in line while they shuffle people in & out of over 42 gondolas. Once the ferris wheel is filled w/ new passengers it does 3 full rotations. I found it a little monotonous, but it's fun finding out how uncomfortable some people are w/ heights 😂 For $20, it's a decent add-on attraction to your Atlanta experience (take caution if you walk there in the middle of the night 😬) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I probably would've said 3 ⭐'s myself, but it's affordable and my crew really enjoyed it! I enjoyed seeing them have fun . . . and freak out a little bit 🎡😁
Michael B — Google review
Skyview was a cool 7 minute experience. We went during the day. We went the night prior and it started to thunder, lightning and storm so they shut down. It’s air conditioned and you have the option to get off by pressing a button in case you don’t want to go around 3 times. There is street parking for a few dollars or parking lots you can pay upwards of $20 and more. Pictures are $36, they have VIP, roses and bears too. Cool to do once.

Oakland Cemetery, originally known as Atlanta Cemetery, is a historic burial site founded in the 1850s. It is a Victorian-style cemetery with a significant historical background, having been the location of Civil War battles. The 48-acre public park serves as the final resting place for over 70,000 individuals and features walking trails among headstones, decorative sculptures, and mausoleums.
One could definitely spend the whole day going through this cemetery. The area is beautiful and it's always interesting to see the epitaphs from those who have based long ago vs. in the past 90 or so years. And the stained glass in some of the crypts when the sun hits them are beautiful. Definitely make sure to carry water if it's hot out. And also make sure to check out the gift shop. It was a pleasant surprise and actually found quite a lot of gifts there. There's road work going on right outside the main gate, where the GPS was trying to take us to park, but we found parking right on the street nearby.

I am so glad we visited this historic cemetery. The history was fascinating. The various plants and trees were beautiful. We walked from our hotel which was closer to Centennial Olympic Park and had to walk through a questionable neighborhood though. If we were to do it again, I would Uber.

This place is rad. If you like cemeteries you'd is a must see. They have some things I've never seen before. Have a few famous sites like Kenny Rogers. It's just a neat ol cemetery. I attended Capturing the Spirit of Oakland for the first time and I found it to be incredible! During a time when so much of our history is being erased it was nice to know that important stories are still being told. Highly recommend everyone go and enjoy this event.

20/10. My FAVORITE place in Atlanta. Dead serious 🖤 The history mixed with the incredible gardens mixed with the intricate architecture of the headstones and mausoleums is always fascinating. The entire cemetery feels so peaceful and welcoming, even in the winter months. Every time I come, it feels like seeing it for the first time. I truly truly love Oakland! Shout out to all the volunteers who dedicate their time and knowledge to helping preserve and grow such a beautiful memorial to those buried there. As far as gardens go, it definitely takes an army to maintain and they do so expertly! The grounds are a welcome oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of ATL. Last night I was able to attend the Illumine event for the first time and it was SO so cool! Awesome music, art installations and lighting! Seeing the cemetery at night like that was killer. Can’t wait for next year! Just to clarify, there is no entry fee just to visit on a normal day. These photos are from the Illumine event which is ticketed.

A magical celebration at Oakland Cemetery! The Dia de los Muertos event was absolutely stunning — vibrant altars, beautiful performances, and such a warm sense of community. You could feel the love and reverence for tradition in every corner. The colors, music, and food made it both reflective and joyful, a perfect blend of remembrance and celebration. Oakland’s historic setting added a hauntingly beautiful backdrop that made the evening feel timeless. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Zoos & Aquariums
Zoo Atlanta is a large and modern zoo that houses over 1,500 animals from 220 different species. One of its most popular exhibits is the Asian Forest, which is home to giant pandas Lun Lun and Yang Yang, along with their offspring Mei Lan and Xi Lan. The zoo, located in historic Grant Park just minutes from downtown Atlanta, features a diverse array of wildlife including lemurs, monkeys, elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, lions, and more.
Great and clean zoo with lots of animals in large enclosures, largest of Zoos I have previously visited. The zoo itself was cleaned and maintained well. Prices in gift shop were way to high and ended up not getting even a t-shirt, it was well over 50.00 for a normal shirt, that part is ridiculous. Much better pricing at Aquarium for souvenirs. Make sure to buy City Pass and save. Was easy to use and redeem the tickets at all locations. Went on a Friday and was bummed not many shows were available. Feeding the giraffe was nice and quick. The VR ride was nice but a little short for price.

Zoo Atlanta was very easy to navigate. They have handicap electric chairs you can rent for $40 all day. The paths are easy to walk or ride. The exhibits are very nice. Plenty of maps, Information and bathrooms spread throughout. They have snack stands a cafe and Ice cream stands. The also have a well equipped children's section that includes a jungle gym, zipline, rides and games. There is a gift shop and plenty of parking which you pay for the day for $12. It was a lot of fun. Very recommended.

We had a great day at Zoo Atlanta. We came on a Sunday around 10am. There was no line to wait in to buy tickets. We spent time at every exhibit and saw animals being active. The animals here look healthy and are given decent sized enclosures. I love the employees who are near exhibits who talk to you about the animals and give you facts and tell you about their conservation efforts. Our kids fed the giraffe, that was a hit! We ate at nourish cafe. The food was good. We had Sonoma burgers and fries and our kids split a chicken finger basket. We also got the refillable souvenir cups. We did everything in the children’s area. Train, carousel, treetop trail, and playground. Our kids had a blast. Lastly, we hit the gift shop. The souvenirs will give you sticker shock but they had a lot of cute stuff. From buying tickets to walking out we spent $300 for a family of 4.

Today, Monday, we went to the zoo and had a great time learning more about the animals and their habitats, their environment, and their care. Everything was clean and well-organized. Highly recommended! The three lion brothers, the giraffes, the elephants, the Sumatran tiger, and all the other animals that live in this great zoo were spectacular. You can have a great day out with the family. Highly recommended.

Overall it is a nice zoo and has a lot of trees and shade and enough variety of animals so it is a pleasant place to walk around and spend the day. It is smaller than many other USA big city zoos, though, as I've seen mentioned in the other comments. For those familiar with Chicago zoos, it is closer to the size of Lincoln Park Zoo rather than the much more spacious Brookfield Zoo.

This was also one of our favourite. Make sure to put it in one of your to do things in Atlanta. My best animal there was the Gorillas and how they were fed. They behave very well and sensible. The smallest elephant in age but biggest in size entertained us with the ball he plays with. We loved everything about about the zoo.

Nestled between Atlanta's vibrant Midtown and the charming Virginia-Highland neighborhoods, Piedmont Park is a sprawling 189-acre urban oasis that invites both locals and visitors to unwind. This beautifully designed park, originally crafted by Joseph Johnson and later enhanced by Central Park's Frederick Law Olmsted, offers a plethora of recreational activities. From jogging paths and basketball courts to dog parks and picnic areas, there's something for everyone.
Wonderful walk through this urban park! First hour is $3 parking in the public parking deck. Lots of folks playing recreationally. Careful for the tight parking spaces in the deck. There is a clearance beam that hangs above the so I wouldn't drive a tall vehicle through it.

We also enjoyed seeing Johnny Marr, Cage the Elephant, and of course My Chemical Romance. We got the GA+ tickets, and the ammenties were great. It was nice to stretch out and have enough room to relax. The AC bathrooms were top notch, and we loved the Comp drink options. We got food at Get Baked, Mosh Burger and the Pizza joint. I absolutely loved the veggie burger that Mosh makes. This was my second Shakey Knees festival, and my boyfriend's first time in the ATL. Such incredible memories! The park is vast and beautifully maintained—perfect for walking, jogging, biking, or just lounging on the grass with a skyline view that never gets old. Whether you're coming for a stroll, playing fetch with your pup in the off-leash dog park, or enjoying a picnic by Lake Clara Meer, there's something for everyone. What makes the park extra special are its amenities: an ADA-accessible pool with lap lanes, current-channel for floating, scenic fountains, and concessions—great for cooling off on warm days. Families will love the playgrounds, especially the artistic Noguchi Playscapes with modern sculptures and slides that double as public art. Piedmont Park is the city’s event stage for festivals like Dogwood Festival, Atlanta Pride, Music Midtown, and more—bringing energy and culture each season. But even without an event, the park radiates calm—great shady spots, restrooms, and enough paths and benches so you can easily settle in for a peaceful break. The Conservancy behind the park has big plans too: expect new walking and bike trails, better restrooms, expanded tree canopy, and creative paths weaving through the treetops—making an already amazing park even better in the years ahead. All around, Piedmont Park feels like the heart of Atlanta—green, welcoming, and full of life.

Piedmont Park is truly the heart of Atlanta. It’s the perfect place to relax, go for a walk, or just sit and enjoy the views. The reflection of the city skyline on the water is absolutely stunning—especially around sunset. Whether you’re into jogging, picnics, or simply people-watching, this park offers a little bit of everything. Always peaceful yet full of life. A must-visit if you’re in Atlanta!

The Margaret Mitchell House, located in Midtown Atlanta, is the historic home where the renowned author wrote her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, 'Gone with the Wind.' Although Mitchell and her husband only occupied a first-floor apartment in the house, visitors can take guided tours to explore this literary landmark. Operated by the Atlanta History Center, the museum offers insightful programs that honor Mitchell's legacy.
The Margaret Mitchell House is a beautifully preserved piece of Atlanta’s literary history. Stepping inside feels like traveling back in time—you can see the very apartment where Margaret Mitchell wrote Gone with the Wind. The guided tours are informative and engaging, with knowledgeable docents who share fascinating stories not just about the book and Mitchell’s life, but also about Atlanta during her time. The house itself is charming, with well-kept rooms, historic photographs, and original furnishings that give you a real sense of the 1930s atmosphere. The museum section adds great context about the novel’s impact, its global reach, and the controversies surrounding it. The gift shop has unique souvenirs and books for literature lovers. It’s conveniently located in Midtown, making it easy to pair your visit with nearby attractions. Even if you’re not a huge Gone with the Wind fan, the history, architecture, and storytelling make this place worth a stop. A must-visit for history buffs, literature enthusiasts, and anyone curious about Atlanta’s cultural heritage.

This is a charming space with some interesting info, but I found myself agreeing with recent reviews - it focuses heavily on the broader context of slavery, segregation, and African-American history/cinema, rather than telling much about Margaret Mitchell’s life or the making of Gone with the Wind.. I agree that these topics are important and worth discussing of course, but I was hoping for more insight into the author and the story itself. The gift shop is very limited (like almost nothing), would be great to see more themed items like beautiful Gone with the Wind bookmarks or any other bookish gifts.

The Margaret Mitchell House is part of the Atlanta History Center and is located on the corner of 10th Street and Peachtree Street. There is a lot of information about the life of Margaret Mitchell and is presented with an understanding of the difference of historical fiction, book and movie, from historical facts. There is also lots of cool Gone With The Wind memorabilia.
Tim S — Google review
Cool little place to visit! So much history about the movie Gone with the Wind and Margaret Mitchell the lady who wrote the book! The parking can be a pain sometimes.
REALtalk T — Google review
Went there today after the house was renovated and we are extremely disappointed. The second floor is completely empty, only fresh painted walls, and on the main level there is only a couch, a typewriter, a luggage and a record player. There is literally nothing to see, but we paid $66 to enter. Don’t recommend, at least right now, give them a couple of years to improve the place

It was good that we were able to visit. Its not a huge exhibition but we enjoyed.

This was my second time visiting the Margaret Mitchell House. I found the staff cheery, yet "cheeky." You know the kind of cheeky when you walk into a place & the staff all seem to, at-once, put on these forced grins in attempts at making you feel genuinely welcomed. Other than that, the tour went well. The house & grounds have been kept up well. Our tour guide was actually quite knowledgeable. Offering a lot of additional, lesser known facts, which I wouldn't have been privy to otherwise. The souvenirs weren't of the same level of quality that I'd remembered them being from the past. But then again, what is these days???

The charming museum is one part of it. Margaret Mitchell House is the perfect place for a wedding - it's all in one. The interior of the building is very royal and elegant. The exterior has every environmental element a wedding needs. It has a beautiful reception hall, a huge lawn and a cocktail area. A outstanding venue, in my opinion.

Krog Street Tunnel in Atlanta is a popular spot for photo and video shoots due to its edgy street art and murals. Despite its initial appearance, the pedestrian-friendly tunnel connects the Cabbagetown and Inman Park neighborhoods and is frequented by locals, bikers, and walkers. This underground institution showcases an ever-changing display of socially conscious graffiti created by local street artists since the 1960s.
It's actually clean and safe to take pictures. If you walk to the end of the tunnel it opens in to a suburban neighborhood with many interesting houses for photos.
Daniel L — Google review
Great street art spot - overall pretty clean, well-lit and wide. Plenty safe to run or bike through especially during day. Nice diagonal crosswalk on north side. Getting stuck in here in your car is annoying but fun to walk through. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re already in the midtown beltline.

This place was really cool... it reminds me of Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas because you can add your own tags/artwork. We visited Georgia for my daughter’s graduation and were traveling with friends. On departure day, we went our separate ways because we had separate flights, so we thought it was hilarious when we ran into each other in the tunnel. See 1st video 🤣. Definitely worth going to see, especially if you're looking for something to do for free.
Christina C — Google review
Such a cool spot! I'd seen photos all over social media of this iconic Atlanta tunnel, but experiencing it in person was even better. From what I heard from friends, this tunnel has been a canvas for local artists for decades, connecting the Cabbagetown and Inman Park neighborhoods. The experience was incredible - as you walk through the tunnel, you're surrounded by layers upon layers of street art. Every surface is covered with vibrant pieces, from small tags to massive murals. I got lucky during my visit and actually saw an artist working on a new piece, which was fascinating to watch! The best part? The art doesn't stop at the tunnel. Following the path south (thanks to a local friend's tip), I discovered that the street art continues in both directions. Whether you turn right or left, the walls are filled with all kinds of amazing artwork. The subjects range from abstract designs to portraits, political messages to playful characters. Pro tip I picked up from other visitors: it's best to visit during daytime for better photos and to fully appreciate the details in the artwork. I've heard the art changes frequently, so each visit offers something new to discover. This is definitely one of those authentic Atlanta experiences that shows why this city has such a reputation for incredible street art. Can't wait to go back and see what new pieces have appeared!

An interesting tunnel situated halfway between Krog Street Market and a nearby art district - both walking distance. Not a “must see” in my opinion but great for individuals who like art and eclectic places. As for safety, while it was inherently dangerous, the tunnel did feel a bit dark. As a 5ft woman, I would not feel comfortable walking there at night at all
Azani A — Google review
Atlanta’s creative street art scene is a must if you are ever there. A truly immersive walking art experience.

I have no idea why this place is marked as a tourist destination on some sites. I don’t get it. What is there? It’s dingy, short, and has a scent that is eerily similar to urine. Don’t get me wrong it definitely suffices as a tunnel. For that, I give it 3 stars.

The Georgia Capitol Museum, located within the neoclassical Georgia State Capitol, offers a glimpse into the state's history, art, and flags. The museum is housed on the fourth floor of the building but also features exhibits and artwork throughout. Designed by architects Willoughby Edbrooke and Franklin Burnham, this National Historic Landmark has been the seat of Georgia's government since its completion in 1889.
Very interesting museum. The dioramas of the different regions of Georgia were really cool, as well as the agriculture exhibit. Will have to go through security to get in and the entrance is off MLK Jr. Dr. The guards were helpful and pointed me to the right direction. Overall, super cool to learn about Atlanta and Georgia overall.

Great experience, a true palace of democracy, sad that in the modern day the public servants there, do not follow the principles of it. Instead degrading into corruption, immature and disgusting philosophies that bring shame to this great nation! When did the young generation stop learning from their ancestors? Building on their knowledge instead of completely disregarding it. Even though technologically they might have been less advanced in philosophy and leadership they have far eclipsed any of today.

The Georgia Capitol Museum is similar to other Capitol museums, but still worth a visit. The building itself is impressive and quiet, with hardly anyone around. We enjoyed walking through, taking photos, and exploring the historic space.
Iryna S — Google review
It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Atlanta. Visited with family and friends during our recent visit to Atlanta. Immaculately maintained building, as well as the surrounding park. It was a wonderful experience to go through the museum,ñ with an insight into the history of Georgia. Some portions were closed due to renovation. Added attraction was visiting the Senate and House Galleries, which are open for public on specific days and time. There is no entree fee. A must visit.

Very well maintained gov building. Clean and friendly place for family visit at no cost. Parking is expensive $13/3hours or you can park somewhere on the street where allows. There is a small museum/collection on 4th floor about GA and local nature. This building also has a very nice front yard

Lots of artifacts and Georgia history in the building and architecture, as well as various displays throughout. An interesting experience, you’re welcome to sit quietly and watch the state legislators at work. Security was quick and efficient, and once you’re inside you self guide around the whole building.

Not the best Capitol Building I have visited. I think the exterior is quiet boring. Otherwise, the colors are beautiful and the museum on the fourth floor is also great. I had the opportunity to enter the representative chamber but the senate one was locked. The appropriation chamber was also open

State government office
Located in Downtown Atlanta, the Georgia State Capitol is a stunning architectural and historical landmark. Its gold-plated dome, adorned with a statue of Miss Freedom, is a prominent feature. Inside, visitors are greeted by marble floors, grand staircases, and imposing pillars that exude governmental power. The building houses the offices of the governor, lieutenant governor, and secretary of state on the second floor while the third floor accommodates the chambers for the General Assembly.
I had the opportunity to visit the Capital on February 5, 2025 thanks to the University of North Georgia Political Science Student Association. I was with a group, so we did a self-guided tour of the capitol and we saw the Governor’s office and the Legislature Chamber. It is very a nice and beautiful building. Lots of history inside it. If you are in the area, stop by and visit.

Something free to do during our trip to Atlanta. It was a nice place to take pictures. Checking out the old architecture of the building. A lot of old portraits of old Georgia dignitaries. Staff was very nice. We were able to park at a meter just across the street for a few dollars.

We had the opportunity/honor to visit the Georgia State Capitol in JAN_FY2025 and it was an amazing experience, a great opportunity to learn more about FL's history and legacy. We did a plant tour and for sure it's a remarkable building. We woke up early here in southwest Georgia on Saturday, braving the morning chill as we began to bid farewell to beloved Jimmy Carter. Definitely, it's a place that deserves my respect. It was a privilege.

Free, and they open early, so something to do. It was a nice history and museum. The garden is lovely. The inside was nice, but many areas were corded off.

Been trying to hit all the state capitol buildings and take an inside tour. I think Atlanta make about 10-12. It was a beautiful state house from the outside to inside. The gold dome makes it stand out. The guard was friendly and helpful with any questions. The model of the dome was really cool to show what is actually there since you can't tour it. It was a long walk from the Georgia Aquarium to here, but I'm glad we took the walk.

Attending the Election Integrity Hearing. While we were trying to get rid of the machine, they introduced another machine that could be rigged. IT Experts Garland Favorito and Ricardo Davis said all voting machines we are using can be rigged, and that's why we are fighting to go for paper ballots. One more hearing before the committee will make recommendations, and we're hoping they will approve the paper ballots. I know Kemp will not allow for paper ballots because he wants to rigged the votes. Unfair to votets.

This is a free and perfectly nice place to visit if you have a little time to kill. There wasn’t a ton to see inside (part of the museum floor was closed). I was also unable to see the Senate or House Chambers. The grounds are not very extensive.
Steven T — Google review
This was our 26th different state Capitol visit and by some distance the worst. Had to show ID to enter the building because 'bad people try to get in here' - not the best start. Headed to the tour desk where we were ignored by FOUR of the rudest people I've ever met. Usually Americans - and particularly those working in Government buildings - couldn't be more friendly and helpful. These four ignored us (as per other reviews) despite working at the tour desk. They were all eating lunch - at the same time! A nice time for them but not really how the real world works! When I asked if this was the tour desk they replied 'yes but there are no tours, leaflets are there'. They couldn't even be bothered to give us an orientation, welcome us, point us to highlights etc let alone give us a quick tour given we'd travelled to Atlanta especially for the Capitol. One of the women then started arguing with me that I should have scheduled a tour on line. When I explained we couldn't access the website in England due to GDPR she couldn't care less. Rude people and a dreadful reflection on the state of Georgia.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park Visitor Center is located in Atlanta's Sweet Auburn business district and was once known as the city's Black City Hall. The center offers free tours of Martin Luther King Jr.'s former residence, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of his life and legacy. The area also features a rose garden and memorial, adding to the overall experience. Many visitors find that their visit to the center enhances their appreciation for Dr.
Definitely to be visited if you’re in the city. In the beginning it has some plaques with quotes from MLK. At one place, the foot steps of everyone who marched with him (International Civil Rights Walk of Fame) have been marked on one of the walkways. There’s, of course, statue of Mohandas Gandhi who inspired MLK. Beautiful area, especially on a sunny day. No entry fee. There’s a free parking lot on the north side across the street. There are many historical landmarks and other attractions nearby so it might be a good idea to park it here and walk/Uber around. Definitely recommended.

What a wonderful man God created! If I could just have 0.1% of his courage, strength, and ability to connect with every soul on earth, it would be incredible. Additionally, I admire his role as a leader for the Black community. I pray that every state honors him with a Martin Luther King Jr. National Park or Museum.
Aaron M — Google review
As expected, I was humbled by the center and its exhibits, as well as the final resting place of Dr. and Mrs. King. It is a beautiful area of contemplation and self introspection. I especially enjoyed learning more about Mrs King. As I should have expected, behind every great man is a great woman, and boy, was she ever! She had the OG Girl Power. Strength and determination -all back by love. I loved hearing all about her from the voice of her grandkids. What a fun video to watch! We also roamed the neighborhood of Dr. King's birthplace and surrounding homes that had been restored to their former glory - reading about the local history on the plaques provided along Auburn. I would recommend anyone, individuals and families, visit the center and surrounding area for a learning experience and a reminder of humility and understanding. I am so glad I made it part of my visit to Atlanta.

The words of MLK Jr are as important now as 60 years ago. If not more important. The roses with children's poems was heartbreaking. Why is it that children in elementary school understand that violence and guns are bad, but our government cant?

Such a great stop on my trip to Atlanta. History preserved to a wonderful man with a meaningful cause. The history center had all the information you needed to read about. It was somewhat of a confusing layout. The whole center as well as the church and the gravesite take up a complete block. The gravesite was quit amazing. The fountain in which MLK is laid to rest is spectacular. This has been a part of history I've wanted to see for a long time.

I absolutely LOVE the #KingAndQueenBuildings Every time I see them, I think of my Son, even before he passed away. I had to take him to CHOA a lot when he was younger, and he would always get so excited and light up whenever we drove by the King and Queen Buildings. I just happened to look up as I was going down the highway on Christmas 2023, and they just happened to be staring back at me through the car window. They were lit up with green and red, as if my Precious Son was with me in spirit. I wish I could have gotten better pictures, especially of the moment I saw them, but these pics were the best I could do as I passed by them on a rainy night. I love you, Son. #BRANDyBONNER @BRANDyBONNER

Located in downtown Atlanta, The Varsity is a long-standing drive-in restaurant that has been serving classic American fare since 1928. Known as the World's Largest Drive-in, it spans over two acres and can accommodate 600 cars and over 800 people inside. The menu features a variety of hot dogs, hamburgers, traditional side orders, and their famous Frosted Varsity Orange shakes and fried pies made from scratch daily.
Not sure how anyone would eat at the varsity and expect anything but the varsity. In this instance you can’t rate a place on what it isn’t. It isn’t the best burger you’ve ever eaten but it will be the best varsity burger you’ve ever eaten. I say that because 30+ years after I ate my first varsity they still deliver. Of course the fries are a little limp, they aren’t processed crap…they are fresh potatoes. The onion rings are battered there on the spot. If you go to North Ave you might still see them in there peaking and cutting. Combo numbers shouldn’t be on the menu at the V but times have changed and I see them. I hate that the old school “crowd to the front ordering” doesn’t exist anymore. You used to have to fight your way to the front and try to make eye contact with someone behind the counter if you ever hoped to eat. In some cases you’d get to the front and realize you were in the fry and ring only line. Eat here if you’re visiting but know what it is. It is The V! I’m partial to a couple of dogs (they should come with chili unless you ask for them naked), cheese stake (because I liked the way they smash them to melt the cheese) and rings. Always ask for a side (which should mean some chopped onions in a little piece of wax paper) and don’t skip the frosted O or PC on ice and a pie.

I had heard about this place before and decided to stop in here for lunch one day. I went to the counter where I ordered and received my food and then went and sat down at my table. I ordered a number one combo which consists of two chili dogs and fries. I also got a Coke zero float. The fries and hotdog were good. I thought the float had way too much ice cream compared to soda. Overall, the food was good and it was a cool atmosphere. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

Chili dogs with coleslaw was good. Never had hotdogs like that. Fries were good as well. Onion ring was too greasy and could tell not fresh oil. Servers were all friendly and vibe of the restaurant was great. I think it's great for the experience but not the place I'd go back for food choice.

It’s been around a long time. When in Atlanta we try to make a trip. No nonsense service. But they’ve learned efficiency. Hard to choose between the fries and the onion rings - and the burger or the hot dog. So, we got some of it all. What’s your favorite at The Varsity?.
Ron E — Google review
If you are a baseball fan then this should be a stop. Just know the food hasn’t changed in 20 years. I had the slaw dog and it was a good choice on a hot dog. My husband’s chili dog however? Not good at all.

I am a 65 year Varsity customer. I drove two hours round-trip today to eat there. The food has always been great but today was the first time I felt compelled to leave a review. The food was great again but this review is about service. I am recovering from neck surgery and walking with a cane - not always that steady. I told the man helping me that I couldn’t carry a tray with a drink on it and use my cane. He said “pick up your wallet, your phone, and your glasses and I will take your tray to your table”. Wow! A forty something year old black guy helping a struggling 70 year old white guy with a cane to his table not because he had to but out of pure kindness. Unfortunately I failed to get his name - but he made my day. Our country needs more people like this! He was a handsome black guy - maybe 45 - with a diamond earring - very friendly and personable. If you see him ask him if he helped an old white guy with a blue cane to his table today. I love the Varsity and I love Varsity people! After all these years they raised the standard again today!

My very first time visiting this location. Years ago I went to the Norcross location called the Jr Varsity. I was near here years ago when I visited Apache Cafe. I had to visit to see the food menu for myself and see how it's hitting. I got a #1 2 chilli dogs with onion rings and a orange soda. I also got a #2 chilli cheese dog and burger with onion rings. The food is delicious! This is their staple the way that they prep and prepare the food they got to be doing something right for this long!I also got a peach pie and a apple pie delicious! Look at how long they have been in business and still going strong. I visited on 8-22-2025.

What a treat for sports fans. This customized interactive experience is unlike anything we have attended in a museum or attraction. Not only do you get swept away in the nostalgic history of college football but you can become part of the action with fight song karaoke, be behind the desk for Home Depot Game Day, see your face in a painting for look like a tailgater in the 1920's. It’s not just a museum – it’s a fully interactive experience that’s both fun and impressive from start to finish. There’s so much to explore, from combine-style challenges where you can test your speed or vertical jump, to photo walls that use AI to place you as a fan inside a stadium. Throughout the entire visit, there’s an ongoing interactive game that makes the experience feel dynamic and immersive rather than just walking through exhibits. What really makes it special is that it has something for everyone. Whether you’re a die-hard college football fan or just curious, it’s engaging, hands-on, and really well done. Kids will love it just as much as adults, because it’s not only about history – it’s about experiencing the game in a fun and personal way. The ticket price is also totally fair. I paid just under $30 as an adult, and I believe there are discounted tickets for kids as well. All in all, a fantastic stop in Atlanta and a place I’d absolutely recommend.

The place was nice and easy to walk. The history is cool but limited to certain recent years. The place had high tech things to try. College gameday was my favorite area. The music is cool and keeps you in the season. The area to be on the field was nice. The store is small but well kept. It would of been nice to see a Heisman area or a tribute to all the great stadiums in cfb.

This place is a must see for any college football fan. Let's start with THE WALL. No, not the wall from Pink Floyd, but the football helmet wall. Upon entering the Hall of Fame, the first thing you see is the helmet of every single football team in every level of NCAA college football!!! NCAA FBS, FCS, Dll, Dlll....but they even have all the NAIA team helmets too! After you put in some information about yourself (don't skip this step or you'll miss out on a lot of fun later!), you will see your college/university football helmet light up. Employees nearby can assist you in finding your team as they have laser pointers that can show you where your school's helmet is located. Other highlights are the trophy area (current national championship trophy and previous versions, NAIA national championship trophy, the Heisman Trophy, and the big 6 bowl game trophies: Rose, Orange, Cotton, Sugar, Peach, and the Fiesta), the Hall of Fame room (where you can look up anyone who has been inducted into the Hall of Fame and read about their accomplishments), the AI floor (gotta see it to experience it!), the history of college football area (see old uniforms, equipment, footballs, etc), video game room (college football only of course), and your chance to be the play by play announcer during a football game. There is also a skills area for you to throw a football and test others skills. The gift shop is a great area to find collectibles, but of course your team may not have any merchandise there. Only the best teams have their merchandise sold in the shop.

This place was a gem. I appreciate how they made some things interactive, everything was very well thought out. I took my bf here for his bday and I think I enjoyed it more than him lol. Definitely give it a visit.

I had the time of my life. I like college football but didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. Only spent 1.5 hours but definitely could have done another hour. It is fun for all ages and whether you're a fan or not with all the AI interactions, video game, physical options, history and more to play along with.

Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta is a historic and well-preserved church where both Martin Luther King, Jr. and his father served as preachers. Founded in 1886, the church is part of the National Historic Site and holds strong significance in Atlanta's Black community. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. served as a pastor here in the sixties until his death, with his funeral held at this very church.
I had an opportunity to serve the “Ebenezer Everywhere” family as a Minstrel for their Mother’s Day celebration and, as always, it’s a distinct honor serving their house of worship. During this bout ministry support, I was especially privileged to experience the exceptional ministry of a legendary trailblazer for women in Ministry—Bishop Vashti McKinsey and also meet her in person! It was humbling to meet one of my personal heroes of the Black Church—one I had only read about and studied in books—while also serving the same hallowed ministry where Dr. Martin Luther King and his father once served, and where the current sitting U.S. Senator of Georgia also pastors. This was a powerful, intersecting moment for me and one I will never forget. 🙏🏾

Pretty neat spot if you're interested in learning about MLK. The tour guide was very informative and friendly (though he talks fast!). As far as I know, the church is closed unless you are there for a service or one of the guided tours, which are twice a day. I highly recommend the museum, which is across the street, as well. This whole area is necessary viewing for anyone in the area. And it's free!
Eggy P — Google review
Went for service with a large group of mainly white folks from NC. The congregation was so warm and welcoming. Every person I encountered told me to come back, that the door is always open. Rev Warnock and the music were so inspiring. If I lived in ATL, this would be my church. This is a special place.

I'm so grateful to have walked through a part of history that I would've never dreamed that I could. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's presence still can be felt throughout this Church & I am amazed by this experience.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This was an awesome experience. We toured the church and MLK's birth home. My children were asking so many questions about the different artifacts that were preserved. It just makes you realize how far we have come but how much harder we have to fight.

My visit at Dr. MLK's father's church Ebenezer Baptist was moving. The opportunity to visit where he preached was humbling. Because the church was still pretty much restored to the era of the sixties I felt like I was in a timepiece. The staff was polite and informative. I would visit it again.

The order of service was excellent, and the breakfast before service was tasty with enough time to fellowship with others. The historic church was awe inspiring to say the least. They had a guest preacher when I visited. Grateful to see both the current and original church side by side. Much history to see and hear in this place. Highly recommend you to see both venues and read all there plaques.

The Delta Flight Museum in Hapeville, Atlanta is a kid-friendly museum that offers hands-on exhibits and vintage aircraft for visitors to explore. The museum traces the history of Delta Airlines from its inception in 1925 to its rise as a prominent airline. It features interactive exhibits, rare artifacts, and more, all accessible to the public free of charge. The museum is housed in two large hangars with a vast array of artifacts, airline equipment, and aircraft on display.
This museum is amazing best I’ve been to thus far. The experience was top notch and seeing the planes that are at the museum was amazing. Also hearing all the planes landing and taking off was wonderful! I could easily spend hours here! They also recently redid the museum. Stop by it’s wonderful!
Michael C — Google review
A hidden gem! This museum is not just about the history of Delta, but also ab exhibit of aviation history. This includes memorabilia from Delta abd past airlines, but old aircraft to view, a flight simulator, and history information. This is set up with an amazing experience, and you can top the trip off by going into an old 747 jet! I highly recommend doing this!
Brian M — Google review
If you’re thinking about booking the flight simulator, DO IT! It was incredible, it felt like we were flying a real plane and was well worth the price. John the instructor was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience very fun. The rest of the museum was neat as well, especially being able to go in the big plane. The only reason I would say not to do the flight simulator is if you get motion sick easily. Other than that, 10/10 recommend!
GalacticOilSpill — Google review
I so enjoyed this museum. I was like a kid in a candy store with unlimited supplies of all my favorite candies. Really enjoyed the 767 and the 747 exhibits. Wish like hell the 757 was an open display. Those are all my favorite planes other than the famous WW2 planes which I’ve seen majority of at the Warner Robins Museum.
Ronald W — Google review
A nice place to see the history of the airline and its 100 years of history from humble crop dusting beginnings. There’s also the 767 Spirit of Delta plane and a 747 plane outside the museum building you can tour. Good value to visit at least once
Faris D — Google review
The museum was interesting to go through especially the displays of older airplanes. Although the museum was small and the price of admission was a bit steep for its size, at least I enjoyed it especially the part with going inside of a double-decker Boeing plane and the parts that are in a plane and how those work.
Travis T — Google review
I recently visited the Delta Flight Museum at 1060 Delta Blvd, in Atlanta, GA. I spent a great afternoon visiting this museum. It has the history of Delta all under one roof. Their is the Spirit of Delta 767 and there is an actual 747 you can walk through. I had a great time sitting in one of those 747 international seats. It's well worth a visit.
Greg K — Google review
Fun experience for the whole family. It's cool being able to actually go into airplanes. We had a really nice time. The only recommendation (but didn't take away from Museum) is the gift store needs to add more smaller souvenirs (mainly clothes)... like small stickers, 100 year commemorative pins would've been nice, postcards of planes over the 100 years. We wanted souvenirs to help celebrate 100 year anniversary... but the had nothing but clothes!

The Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail is a popular urban greenway built along an old railway corridor, offering a picturesque route for running, biking, and walking. The 22-mile multi-use trail connects various neighborhoods and parks while showcasing outdoor art installations. Along the way, visitors can find sports facilities, restaurants, and microbreweries. This ambitious project aims to create a comprehensive system of parks and connecting trails encircling much of the city by repurposing abandoned railway corridors.
March 2025 : There is nothing quite like this anywhere else. If you are a visitor to Atlanta, you've got to experience it, and it should be on the top of your list of 'things to do' here. On a bright sunny Saturday, I, along with my wife, both senior citizens, had a leisurely walk on this section of the trail.. and what an experience it was... great atmosphere, positive vibes. It was a pleasure to see children, parents, grandparents, walking, talking, jogging, cycling...all happy faces. There are plenty of eateries on this section of the beltline. We just wanted to have some soft drinks. However, long queues at the restaurants dissuaded us. I wish they had some small kiosks serving quickly, just cold drinks. This, however, has no impact on my rating. Last visit in 2023 : Atlanta beltline is the lifeline of this city..... very well planned, executed, and maintained.
Arun G — Google review
Beautiful trail in the heart of Atlanta. We didn't walk the entire thing, but the parts we saw were definitely nice. Plenty of things to look at and shops to stop by. There are scooters and bikes you can rent or you can bring your own. I feel like the path can be widened a bit but people seem to do a good job of not hitting each other when navigating through the crowds.
Alex H — Google review
A great place to walk and people watch. Lots of seating and restaurants to choose from. Nice scenic views from points along the way. Parking was confusing with there being lots of paid parking attached to restaurants (or so we thought). Lots of photo ops but there are certain places were you can only use your phone for pictures, no professional cameras even if you’re not a professional.

This place is incredible. I wish I allocated more time for my visit. It would take 2-3 hours to see everything. More if you stopped to read descriptions. The Greek/Roman sections stun you and the Egyptian area takes your breath away. Getting to see artifacts nearly 7000 years in age from pre dynastic Egypt was amazing. The mummies make you stop and realize that all of what is around you was crafted by skilled humans thousands of years ago. Well worth the small admission. Parking is easy to find. Just follow the visitor parking signs from the main entrance.

Decided to stop by this small museum, was delighted by the richness of the exhibits! We saw the first floor (the other one was being renovated when we visited) and enjoyed seeing all the mummies, sculptures, and paintings. They also have a small bookstore and a wall of postcards available for purchase. To get to the museum, we parked in the visitor parking deck and took a short, scenic walk to the building it was located in.

We had an experience of a lifetime. An authentic storyteller, stories I grew up with, told in an unusual and interactive way. I enjoyed it, my teenage Neice's daughter enjoyed, and there were third graders that enjoyed the event. Storyteller Gwendolyn J. Napier aka Miss Luv drop was excellent!

I’ve studied the Br’er Rabbit stories over the course of my entire life, and at 32 years old this was like a pilgrimage. Disney has done these stories dirty as there had been too much misinformation around these stories. Here is an ideal place to educate oneself about the tales from not only the docents that work there but also from the storytellers. All the staff was truly welcoming and attentive, answering questions not to mention allowing us to stay the entire day. They were enthusiastic about answering questions as well as openly discussing the controversy. The storytellers also were informative, welcoming, and willing to discuss the meaning behind the Br’er Rabbit tales. This place is worth your time and questions. It is worth your fact checking and your efforts to truly educate yourself (Twitter is NOT an education folks). Everyone who works here were incredible and thank you for having me and my partner.

Absolutely delightful stop on the route from ATL to downtown. We spent 2 hours, took the tour, and listened to 3 stories performed by the storyteller. I'd always thought Joel Chandler Harris was Uncle Remus, but no. JCH was a typesetter and writer who listened to the folk stories, wrote them and had them published. So much history here. It's a short, sweet stop. Recommended!

Little museum on the history of Atlanta and region and the key families that made the city. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. A bit overcrowded to my taste, some objects should be removed. I cannot overstate how wonderful this was. We weren’t entirely sure what to expect, but our guide Richard was phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable, taking the time to guide us through the entire museum, going above and beyond to inform my boyfriend and I on things not even displayed, but contained relevance to the conversation and current history. I can not recommend taking the guided version of this museum ENOUGH. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

I’m a bit confused. The Wikipedia description didn’t match what I saw. The space obviously is not an art exhibition space. There were paintings hanging in doorways, corners and over what seamed other exhibits. It seams to be only on the ground floor and the entrance was hard to find. All of that said, I did enjoy the Bruno Zupan exhibit.

The market features over 20 independent food stalls offering high-quality dining options. From Varuni Napoli's impressive pizza pies to Watchman's seafood entrees and cocktails, there's something to satisfy every craving.
Krog Street Market is one of my favorite go-to spots in Atlanta! I visit often, and it never disappoints. The food and coffee options are outstanding, with nearly every vendor offering something worth trying. It’s the perfect mix of casual and high-quality. I especially love grabbing a pastry and coffee from The Little Tart Bakeshop—always fresh and delicious. Yalla is a must for incredible Mediterranean flavors, and Jenni’s Ice Cream is the perfect way to top off any visit. The vibe is lively, the space is beautiful, and it’s a true gem in the city.

Sharing the 5 food we got from this market and I think we made pretty good choices. 1. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream - one the best desserts ever, they combine cake or other desserts like brittles with ice cream, the brown butter almond brittle ice cream is superb and has a nice almond essence, gooey butter cake ice cream is heavenly. 2. Gu’s Dumplings - I don’t quite believe their advertised testimony that they’re one of the top Chinese restos nor the top dumpling in the USA, but yes they’re excellent. 3. El Cubano - the flank steak cubano bowl is generous with the tender steak strips with good flavor, comes with a fried plantain as a good Cuban dish should. 4. Fred’s Meat & Bread - one of the best Philly Cheesesteak we’ve had hands down. 5. Soul: Food & Culture - saved the best for last, their fried turkey wing is incredible in taste and size (about 8 or 9 inches), side dishes were very good also (spaghetti marinara with parmesan, corn bread, cole slaw).

This museum is exceptional. From the content, to the lighting, to the friendly and welcoming staff. I LOVE this museum, one informative employee shared that they will be expanding! Cant wait to see more. The videos were extremely well executed. We spent an equal time reading, watching, and listening. We also got a free ticket thanks to Bank of America so we only had to buy one. I can’t get over how emotionally engaging the exhibits were. I loved learning about all the freedom riders. Also the exhibit with telling the story of the four girls bombed at church was creative and very emotional, it reminded me of the Anne Frank museum where her dad reads from her book. It was very moving to hear and see. I highly recommend this museum. Beautiful experience

Everyone should visit this place at least once. I learned more during my walk thru than I ever learned in school. The staff were friendly and could be seen walking through each exhibit answering questions. The renactments felt so real. It was one room in particular in which you couldnt take photos and that was probably my favorite room in the entire place lol. I could have stayed there all day reading MLK's sermons and notes. If you're in the area and history is ya jam check this place out.

We absolutely loved coming here. It was beautiful and immersive. We all learned so much. It says it takes about 2 hours to tour but I would recommend allotting more time for this so you can really read and listen to everything.

We came here using the Atlanta City Pass and this was one of the optional choices. It's a pretty small museum in terms of its size, but it is very impactful. There are a lot of educational exhibits about the history of civil rights in the United States, with a large focus on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as well as many martyrs and victims. It moved me greatly to see the struggles that people went through, and still go through. Tissue boxes can be found around some of the more emotional exhibits, which I thought was very thoughtful. This was a beautiful place that provoked a great deal of reflection for me and my party. The gift shop has some lovely items. We spent about an hour and a half here. Every person who was working was very pleasant and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

Modern, immersive, engaging, educational, and emotional. One of the highlights of our visit to Atlanta. We really came for the aquarium and were blown away by how much time we ended up spending at this museum. I walked away more informed. On the top floor there’s a Human Rights exhibit where you learn about human rights from a global perspective and major issues facing much of the world today and even how you as a consumer may inadvertently be contributing to human rights violations. 🤯 On the second floor you learn all about the civil rights movement, and you will likely know a lot of it from what we learn in school, BUT the exhibits are immersive asking you to relearn this important piece of history from an intimate perspective that transports you. One of the exhibits even invites you to experience a sit in simulation at a lunch counter. The exhibit that covers the March on Washington where Dr. King delivers his I have a Dream speech invites you to listen to the music and speeches given that day as if you were in attendance. And the next room after that is a memorial for what happened 4 days later, and that’s the room that brought me to tears. Maybe it was a culmination of everything leading up to that point. It was definitely the genius of some curators who really wanted you to FEEL that moment in time, because when you feel it you will remember it. We all know that history is often forgotten, this museum has done an outstanding job not just displaying and preserving relics for the sake of history, it’s so much more.

LEGO Discovery Center Atlanta is a family-friendly destination that offers an interactive experience for LEGO enthusiasts of all ages. Visitors can explore displays, enjoy rides like Merlin's Apprentice and Kingdom Quest, and watch 4D films featuring their favorite characters. The center also features the LEGO Master Builder Academy where kids can unleash their creativity with millions of LEGO bricks. Located in Phipps Plaza, this attraction showcases a scale model of Atlanta constructed from 1.
This was my family's first time going here, as we live 2.5 hours away, and it was a blast! We were able to create our own Lego figures and rode rides and created cars to race and space ships so that we could play them on the interactive big screen once they'll were scanned and really enjoyed the 4k theater etc. There was a ton to do and we spent about 2 to 3 hours in there! We didn't eat at the cafeteria in there just bc it was our first time being at that mall and wanted to try different places in the food court but plenty of people were there enjoying food. I will say, it would have been cool to have done the class with a master builder, but not having that available didn't take away from the experience at all.

This is a great indoor place to take the kids for creativity and imagination. It's easy to spend 2-3 hours. Worth the price. Lots of sitting areas for parents to sit back and let the kids explore within sight. The cafe offers a good variety of kid friendly choices at a decent price. If you have a diehard Lego lover, I recommend adding on a Master builder class. Free parking deck

This place can’t be a bigger bust. The people are nice so we’ll say that. upon going in there’s a ride that has guns where you shoot things. Only two of the three guns work and half the screens are off. There’s a rocket building station the scans your rocket and then the joysticks and things don’t operate, and one of them is out of order. There’s a 40 cinema thing. That’s also a bust with a couple of broken chairs. Also online it says if you book online to get a discount and when you go through it, it makes you pay full price. There are a lot of Legos. If I had anybody tell me to take my $40 per ticket and do absolutely anything else in life with my $40. I would’ve been happier.

It was fun. We went when it was dead, so very little crowds, which was a plus We got the activity pack and the lego build additions. The build was a low cost item, which is fine, but I think it was more expensive than the msrp. The activity was just a bunch of cheap cut outs on a lanyard that there was no attempt by the establishment to factor into the visit. Literal wasted money. All in all, its worth the money, especially if your little one(s) love lego, but do not get the activity pack.
Travis T — Google review
This is definitely worth every penny of entrance! It was very reasonable to enter, plus! If you book a day in advance, you get a discount! This place was filled with Legos, directions, and a 4D Lego movie with real effects! Also, kids are encouraged to be creative with making cars and rockets and being interactive with them using technology! The cafe was ok, but don't depend on them for food...not worth the cost...Also, it is NOT a building by itself, but it's inside of Phipps Plaza Mall, 3rd floor! Loved the experience! My daughter had a fabulous time!!

My 5 year old loved this place. I used my teacher ID and I got in for free. Probably not somewhere I can see taking him twice. It was kind of a one and sone experience. It was a bit confusing what to do with the activity pack and was kind of a waste of money. But it was only $6 so no biggie. But for a kid who likes legos and has never beem i recommend giving it a try.

Omg incredible experience. It was so good I was overstimulated lol. The kids had a blast. There is so much to do in a medium size space it's incredible . Great layout, clean, with a very knowledgeable and attentive staff. There is still more for me to discover at the center, so we're definitely coming back.

Truist Park, formerly known as SunTrust Park, is the home of the Atlanta Braves and has been welcoming thousands of fans since its opening in 2017. The stadium can accommodate up to 41,000 people, offering sweeping views of the field from every seat. In addition to watching games, visitors can take daily tours that showcase the park's rich history and notable features such as Monument Garden displays and a Historic dugout Press Box.
I took my mom here to see the Braves play 8/9/25. We had such a good time. This was a bucket list item for her and it checked all the boxes. The park it so neat and clean and has so many nice restaurants and stores attached to it. There are several hotels within walking distance too. The seats are comfortable and all seem to have a good view too. We had a blast and need to plan another trip there for next season for sure.

We had an awesome trip to see the Braves. My friend Melissa knows all the ins and outs. She had our parking arranged so that was easy. Not to far to walk. Getting in with our tickets was easy peasy. Our tickets were right behind the braves dugout so we got an arm band and a few perks! We got a free hotdog, free popcorn and after the second inning we got a free ice cream. We had our own concession stand. It has other things as well as our free stuff. And a bathroom down there. The seats were very comfortable. Not the hard plastic that you usually get. After the game it was as easy getting back to the car as it was to get in the park. An overall great experience! Hopefully we will get to do it again!

Came for a Tour. Guide was very informative and the size of the group was perfect. We were all close enough to hear all the details. We were bummed that the clubhouse was not available when we went. Traveled a good distance just for that experience and didnt get it. You get to experience the on field view as well as the upper level view. You do get to go into the team shop after the tour.

Truist Park is a really nice and modern stadium. It has great seating, good food options, and a fun vibe all around. Beautiful park. Red deck is super close so very happy about that! Dark green chairs are scorching hot in the summer. Chairs are narrow and tight. Food is a bit pricey and the cashier helping me was rude. He was yawning the whole time and hunched over. Barely spoke and didn't make eye contact.

Its a really cool place! I saw the Braves and pirates play the last game of the season! And the Braves won! Its the only MLB game I have went to in my adult life. Last game I was at was turner field in the 80s. I think I was like 9. Everything is expensive! Once you get over that the rest is a great time! Now its time to get back to work and recover some money spent!

Underground Atlanta is a historic area turned shopping and entertainment center located in downtown Atlanta. It was built over busy railroad tracks, with the original first and second stories of buildings now below street level. The district offers a variety of eateries, events, tours, and shops spanning six blocks. Additionally, it houses the Underground Atlanta Farmers Market which aims to provide locally sourced food from Georgia growers to underserved communities.

Attending a concert at Masquerade Heaven with my teen daughter and her friends. TICKET TIMES ARE NOT WHEN THE CONCERT STARTS!!! That's when the doors open. We arrived at 4:30 for a 7:00 ticket time and walked around a DEAD downtown area until we decided to go back to the garage and sit in our car so we'd have air conditioning. There are NO BATHROOMS on site, except inside the concert venue and nearby restaurants will not let you utilize theirs without buying something. The "shopping area" of Underground is all closed until after concerts are over. However, we felt completely safe walking around and concertgoers (Crane Wives concert) were all very friendly and courteous. Security staff is also friendly and courteous.

To be honest, Underground Atlanta didn’t impress us at all. It felt a bit empty and lacked the charm or energy we were expecting. We were hoping for more atmosphere and interesting spots to explore.

This place has a fantastic atmosphere with a photo area. The bartenders are top-notch! I loved that there were multiple rooms, each offering a different genre of music. There was something for everyone. However, I felt the DJs didn't quite keep the crowd engaged. The music selection was ok but the energy could have been higher. Overall, a fun spot with potential if they fine-tune the DJ experience!

The Vortex Bar & Grill is a renowned Atlanta establishment that has been satisfying locals' cravings for fast-food since 1992. With locations in Midtown and Little Five Points, this 21+ restaurant and bar offers an offbeat, rock 'n' roll vibe along with a wide selection of burgers, beer, and whiskey.
Had a great time stopping by this place after visiting the Emory hospital. Growing up, my friends talked alot about visiting little 5 points and the vortex and I was always so jealous! Now I am able to drive myself and I love it! They have burgers, nachos, and a great drink menu.

The waitress Shelby? I believe was wonderful, attentive and pleasant. The food was gross. My grilled cheese wasn't even melted and and the toasted bread wasn't toasted at all and the green stuff on the bread was yucky. The fries were cold and my daughter enjoyed her burger but I wasn't impressed at all. The drinks Were good.
K T — Google review
We had a relative visiting from out of town and we thought the Vortex would be a cool spot to have lunch. We were right. First, when we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess that was friendly with a smile. We also noticed it didn’t smell like anything which was great! No off putting cleaner smells or dirty bar smell. That was refreshing. The atmosphere is definitely very cool and fun to look at. You do not get bored looking at all the decor topped to bottom in the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and all the food that came out of the kitchen. Looked fresh and hat with good proportions. The crinkle fries looked fantastic so I had to order a side order of those. And I’m so glad I did. They were actually full size french fries that were thick, cooked perfectly and yummy! The burgers are good, but not the best I’ve had. Atleast not for $20. We would definitely go back for an order of fries and a drink and maybe an appetizer but probably not a burger. Zombie apocalypse burger, - good Black and blue burger - very good Side salad - good Side of crinkle fries - very good There is a free parking lot which is nice. This restaurant is 21 and over only, at all times. Although we didn’t check out the upstairs, there are two floors of seating. Would go back.

Ordered a burger, medium cooked but was greeted by a basically raw burger. Staff made me a new one that was a bit better but still far from medium. Staff were good and accommodating. Can't beat the decor.

I've heard about this place for a long time and finally decided to try it. I loved the atmosphere and all the flair on the walls. The staff were hip and a lot of them had cool shirts on. We got the Cheeseballs-o-Glory for our appetizer. They had great cheese-pull and were fried perfectly. The burgers on the other hand are simply out of this world. Be prepared to unhinge your jaw or cut it up into smaller pieces because they are stacked high with awesome toppings. We ordered the Four Horsemen burger and the KA’MANA WA’NA LEI’YA burger. If it's busy, parking can be a little bit of a struggle, but it didn't take us too long to wait for a spot on a Saturday evening.
Justin A — Google review
The burgers are big and flavorful. We got them to go so we had to wait about 15 minutes to enjoy them. They were still amazing so fresh of the grill they are probably outstanding.
Kyle P — Google review
This establishment is very clean inside. The bar area, dining, and men's restroom were clean. The staff was kind and said welcome as you entered. The atmosphere comfortable and cozy. I only had the hot wings because I went there to watch football. This is not the place to watch sports because the only have 2 small T.V.'s ans if you're at the bar the T.V.'s are to your back. Free parking if you use there spots.

Me and my fiance came here on July 12th at around 10:30 to 11 at night to try this place. After a late night concert, we came down to see. We were able to be seated within 15 minutes, and the host was wonderful that night. When we got to the table, we waited about 15-20 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and then when ordering, we were told the cheesy changas were out and the glass my fiancé wanted to buy was out. That's fine, I ordered my food, and we waited about 35-40 minutes for our food while our server chatted with one table all night long and couldn't be bothered to refill my water cup until my fiance went up to the bar to get refills on water. He left me without water for over 30 minutes. The burger I had was phenomenal 😋. During our stay, we had to flag down other staff to get service for basic things like refills and then our bill. The staff who did help us were great, but the server we got stuck with needs to go back for training on how to serve and pay attention to other guests rather than just one table who were probably his friends. Would be back for the food, but if assigned to that waiter again, we would ask to be moved and would prefer waiting longer due to his unprofessional behavior.

Soul food restaurant
Takeout Restaurant
Established in 1947, Busy Bee Cafe is a beloved Atlanta soul food restaurant known for its traditional Southern dishes and budget-friendly prices. The cafe's daily meat-and-three plates and famous fried chicken have made it a favorite among locals and notable figures like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Oprah Winfrey. Recognized by the James Beard Foundation as an American Classic, Busy Bee Cafe continues to showcase regional specialties with timeless appeal.
I'm giving the food four stars because the fried chicken was good but not exceptional. However, it was later in the day and so maybe it wasn't at its best. BUT, the sides were incredible! So full of flavor! And the service and atmosphere were absolutely spot on. So friendly and authentic Atlanta. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. If you're in Atlanta definitely stop in. Highly recommend.
Jacob G — Google review
We were so excited to try Busy Bee but unfortunately our experience was deeply disappointing. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food — just one plate and two extra sides — while we watched at least 10 other people come and go with their orders. When our food finally arrived, it was cold and extremely salty. The service was confusing: polite at moments but also sharp and borderline rude. Our drink was forgotten and took another 6 minutes to get, which felt careless given how long we’d already been waiting. When we arrived, we were told to scan a QR code and had the option to order through the website or with the staff member directly. We chose the website and still left a tip, even though all she did was hand us the bag. The inside of the restaurant is closed so you have to wait outside or in your car — which would be fine if the food was prompt and warm. Sadly, it wasn’t. If you’re thinking what I’m thinking — maybe you’re right. Watching so many others served ahead of us for no clear reason left us wondering if there was something more behind it. It’s sad that in 2025, we can still feel so far behind when it comes to how we treat each other. We left feeling like we paid good money just to be treated poorly. So much excitement and money wasted — it honestly felt like we paid to be bullied. I hope this feedback helps them do better, but I can’t recommend Busy Bee based on our experience.

Food was good. I got the pork chops dinner with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Mac and cheese wasn't bad but wasn't good. Collard greens was great as well as pork chops. Wait time was long as we called our order in but waited over 40 minutes for our food. You had to wait outside for your order. It was hot. First time eating here.
Charlotte G — Google review
My husband and I stopped at Busy Bee to see what the hype was about and I was disappointed. We flew in from Maryland to watch a wonderful play called F Punk at 7 Stages and have lunch. Upon arriving at Busy Bees the host said we are not seating anyone because we are opening a new shop. I was not sure what one had to do with the other but, there was seating outside. So you scan the menu outside and let the host know what you want. After ordering, the wait was about 30 minutes. We start feeling sick sitting outside because the parking lot has new asphalt that had extremely strong toxic smell coming from it. So we moved around until the food came. Finally, the order was here and just in time because it started raining on us. I have to say, the prices do not match the quality of food not one bit. For two meals one fried fish and the other chicken wings it was mediocre at best for a couple of items and just not good for others. The banana pudding was mushy and terrible. I took one bite and threw it away. The wings were too salty and the green were basic. The fried fish and macaroni was ok. The peach cobbler was not good and did not taste fresh but seemed like they use can peaches. Coming to Georgia I would think fresh peaches would be used. This was a waste of $84.00 I am sorry to say. I hate to write this review but, I expected much more!

Wow definitely one of the best fried chicken i have had that doesn’t have any special sauce or anything… Their skin is so so darn well cooked and I can’t really explain. Their chicken is not as juicy as I thought but def not dry at all. Service was amazing we went on a Sat morning they only did takeout only so we just ate outside. Worth coming here if u have layover in ATL or visiting!!

Came here after watching a YouTube video saying it was the best fried chicken in America so I had to try it. It is very, very good chicken and you should taste it for yourself! Very juicy, crispy, and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend to my friends. Fries were also very good. Wish I liked the Mac and cheese more than I did, but not too bad. It is pickup only and the lady who gave us our food was pleasant.
Sadie P — Google review
I placed a couple of orders online on Monday and arrived about 20 minutes before the expected pickup time. Upon arrival, I headed inside. The dining room was in disarray. The tables were pushed to one side with junk and papers on top of them. I was immediately told to wait outside. Food was sitting in plastic bags on top of one of the tables. So, when I was served about 10 minutes later, the server grabbed a plastic bag off the table. The chicken was sweaty and looked soggy in spots. The vegetables were lukewarm. Perhaps, it’s better to order in the parking lot and wait.

As a tourist in Atlanta, The Busy Bee Café was on my must-visit list—and it didn’t disappoint! The staff were friendly, and waiting outside with locals and delivery drivers added to the charm. The food was incredible—I nearly finished everything in my container, which says a lot since I don’t usually eat half a chicken in one sitting! A true taste of Atlanta and an experience I’m so glad I didn’t miss.

For the 1st Hip Hop Museum I think that it was pretty cool. I would have liked to see a little more but hopefully it will have the opportunity to grew and become much more historic as it relate to Hip Hop music. The Museum is tastefully designed with a replica of what a trap house looks like inside.

It deserves a 5 star rating but they took 20 minutes to open. It was hot standing outside in line in the summer. Once security open the door, the line moves slow cause they check everyone for weapons, which is to be expected with the mentality of the place. But immediately as soon as you walk in .. ITS AMAZING! I loved it, I had such a good time! So much to see and it's interactive! You can touch the exhibits! I took great pictures. We had so much fun! Its so worth the visit. These pictures dont do it justice but you get the idea. The museum was the highlight of my trip, I had been to all the other sightseeing places on previous trips so to find this little gems was great.

I actually had a good time here. I found the museum really interesting and fun. My only thing I didn’t like was the dudes scamming as I almost ran over one of them bc they jumped in front of my car. One dude by the Café was trying to charge $15, this tried to change it to $10. The other dude by the museum building was charging $20. They don’t seem to be doing anything about it bc someone posted about it a few months ago and it’s still going on. We were also standing outside for a good minute waiting to get in. Parking is 20, scamming parking lot attendants will flag you in and force the payment. Unsure if the lot next to it is cheaper or not but a flag person was there as well. $33 per person for the museum easily was $100 for my crew. The museum is cool but very small with cramped exhibits. Very underwhelming! Should be more like $10. You’ll be in and out in 10 minutes or less. I considered the escape room but due to how underwhelming the museum was, I passed. Staff was nice.

Took the family today and arrived late. Parking was discounted due to time and having children (much appreciated). Door person let my son in free because he spoke politely (much appreciated). There was a man that had held an art class that ended just before my son arrived & he was super nice. He took his sulked back out and helped my 5 year old son paint a house & keep it as a souvenir. He even gave him a juice and oatmeal cream pie. He was very friendly and accommodating and I hope they have him back again for other kids visiting. Experience was worth the trip. We even got hoodies to take home.

Great spot to visit in the down town Atlanta area. Wonderful displays of art and history of some of the most popular music and rappers from the Alanta area. Semi interactive for plenty of picture opportunities.

It was fun and I love the unique creative expression of all the ideas and the way the authentic memories were recorded throughout each exhibit. Great for a couple wanting to get out for an hour or two. The Trap Grandma in the Bando was super funny!! The only suggestion that I would make is improving the air conditioning system especially in the back by the door of the escape room since the back door stays open for guests to have sight of the Trap Food Truck and Apparel vendors etc. while it's warmer outside. My husband and I enjoyed the drinks from the bar inside the museum. There is also Trap City Restaurant right beside the museum for those who want to try that to complete the Trap Outing :-) Parking is $20 just an fyi.

The Municipal Market, also known as Sweet Auburn Curb Market, is an indoor artisanal market located in Downtown Atlanta's Sweet Auburn neighborhood. With over 20 vendors, this historic food hall has been a hub for beloved Atlanta brands and continues to support new food-based businesses. Originally opened in 1918, the market offers a variety of stalls selling meat, produce, bakery goods, and prepared foods.
The Municipal Market in downtown Atlanta is a gem for anyone looking for fresh, high-quality ingredients. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible. They offer a fantastic selection of fresh meats and vegetables, perfect for those who love to cook with the best ingredients. I was especially impressed by the convenience of finding collard greens already chopped—perfect for saving time in the kitchen! Their smoked ham, hocks, and pigtails are fresh and flavorful, great for adding depth to any Southern dish. This market is a must-visit for both locals and visitors who appreciate quality produce and meats!

I had went with my family for a Mother’s Day weekend getaway. This was all our first time taking this tour. Our tour guide Mila was absolutely amazing! She kept us engaged from start to finish of the tour and we all learned a lot about the history of the market. The food samples we had were amazing.

Unfortunately, many of the stores were vacant. The market mostly offers fresh produce and a few takeout restaurants. To my relief, there was a police officer on duty, which made it feel safe to shop. However, there were quite a few homeless individuals outside the building. Overall, not much to see or shop.

The market is always a great place to shop. They are very friendly. The prices are great. I can’t wait to get to each time to get my turkey wings that I love because they have the standard sides not the overgrown big big big turkey wings all the meats there are really good at any vendor that you decide to go to. They have additional things sides and they have the fried fish and different stuff that you wanna buy from the different vendors of people that’s selling stuff. That’s a great place to shop and to give back I love the market and the next time I go I will take plenty of pictures to show that that’s where I was. Thank you so much. God bless you all and continue asking for reviews. I love to do them judy Wilcox God bless❤️‍🩹🙏🏾

Junkman's Daughter is an iconic and quirky store located in the Little Five Points district of Atlanta. For over 30 years, it has been a go-to destination for those seeking unique clothing, costumes, unusual gifts, and eclectic items. The store's interior is filled with a diverse range of products including steampunk and Betsey Johnson-esque clothing, accessories, props, art by local artists, and even a full tobacco shop at the back.
This is such a nice local place to go to when looking for vintage stuff. They also have a large variety of other things that are pretty cool! It’s definitely a really nice place to check out, if you’re looking for interesting things.
Sarai A — Google review
I heard about it from Reddit and stopped onto Moreland while on a little mini-vacation to Atlanta with ny thrift-loving kid. He was enamored with the street, the myriad of shops, but Junkman's was the highlight. Absolutely stellar, super reasonable prices. We spent about $100 and walked away with 2 pants and one shirt. I loved ny XXL button up and he can't wait to get home and show his friends with hand woven shorts that look like a rennaissance painting. I even found a little Gary The Snail figure for his SpongeBob collection. The place is great! Would go again in a heartbeat!

I had seen social media posts about this store before my trip into Atlanta, and I knew I had to stop by. I wanted to say how much I appreciate all the staff working, especially the lovely person who helped me find the perfect pair of demonias. I was thoroughly impressed with how well organized and stocked this store was. I was able to purchase a leg avenue costume I had been searching for, as well as another one I really liked that happened to be on sale. It was awesome searching through all the racks and finding hidden gems. It was such a pleasure shopping here today and I will definitely come again the next time I am in town. Thank you guys so much!!!

Like if Hot Topic was actually kind of cool and relevant. Good place to get a fun relatively unique gift. The name is somewhat misleading and I'd bet it used to be a vintage/thrift shop loaded with secondhand deals - it's a cool selection but it's almost entirely new full price retail stuff.

Greatest coasters I have ever seen. Seriously, the best. Also lots of other things here, from local art prints to clothes; but those coasters are just hilarious. Need to get more for my living room!
Leonard C — Google review
This is my favorite store in Atlanta, and I'm a person of color! People will follow you around , stare at you and make you uncomfortable until you get to the register where its the only safe space. The Staff will pretend to rearrange clothes just to profile you. And if you have to try something on you better be prepared to have tough skin walking in this store! I believe this store has potential to improve I just left the store 10/25/25 at 12:20 pm and I felt so uncomfortable. My shopping background includes Saks, LV, Neiman Marcus just to give a background of what type of client I am but I sometimes feel like im being judged when I walk in this store. Please do better guys! Dont get me wrong I have seen improvement in this store bc they accused me of stealing before but I continue to come back bc I love this store and people make mistakes. Some of the staff is super friendly but we still have room for improvement. This is not to bash anyone or the people , just feedback to make everything better in the future!
Dominique S — Google review
The check out register is a short person (like myself) worst enemy for sure. Love this store and always will come back, I just hope it can be a little more accessible. I couldn’t imagine what a wheelchair bound person would feel trynna spend money here and wouldn’t even be able to meet the cashier face to face. I was wearing heels and still could barely see the pin pad. I really do hope the owners/management sees this and at least attempt to make a change!

East Lake Golf Club is a historic venue in Atlanta with a rich legacy. Originally laid out by Tom Bendelow and later redesigned by Donald Ross, it has been the site where legendary golfer Bobby Jones learned to play. The club was rescued from financial hardship in the 1990s and has since become a fusion of corporate and inner-city involvement. It hosts the TOUR Championship annually and is known for its challenging course, making it a top destination for golf enthusiasts.
I went there for the PGA Tour Championship weeks ago, and the course is great. It's ideally located within the city and exceptionally well maintained.

Amazing overall experience - top notch from beginning to end. I’ve been fortunate enough to play there twice and have volunteered for the Tour Championship multiple times. As far as playing there, it is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in terms of hospitality and service. The course was immaculate, the food was outstanding and everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful. The Tour Championship volunteer experience is super cool as well. They do a great job of helping the community and pulling in a lot of very good people to support the effort.

Very beautiful course, we attended the PGA tour championship here. It was a very well organized event with vendor areas perfectly placed for a much needed rest as it was over 100 degrees out the day of the tournament. Great job East Lake!!
Brent D — Google review
I had the incredible opportunity to play East Lake Golf Club during the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic qualifier, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable golf experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, the history and prestige of East Lake were palpable. The course is absolutely immaculate, every fairway, green, and bunker is maintained to perfection. The layout challenges you in all the right ways while still rewarding solid play. It’s no surprise that this place is the permanent home of the TOUR Championship. What truly stood out, though, was the clubhouse. It’s a stunning blend of classic Southern charm and rich golf heritage. Walking through the halls felt like stepping into a museum of golf history, Bobby Jones’ legacy is alive in every corner. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making the whole experience feel first-class from start to finish. East Lake isn’t just a golf course, it’s a pilgrimage for anyone who loves the game. Playing here was a dream come true, and I can’t recommend it highly enough !

Up until last weekend, my experience with golf involved some scintillating rounds of minigolf and...that's it. I don't think I've ever even been to a driving range. So if you're reading over this and thinking to yourself, "Boy, she doesn't know ANYTHING about real golf," you're right. I accidentally won a putting contest at work that secured me a corporate suite on the 15th hole for the Tour Championship, which apparently is an important event on the golf calendar. I bought some golf clothes on Amazon so they wouldn't kick me out and spent about five minutes looking over the roster (probably not the right word) before wandering down here to take it all in. My perspective is obviously skewed for multiple reasons, but a big one is that most of the attendees I encountered weren't in a suite (though there were quite a few of those temporary structures that I spied on my walk around the course). I think I basically knew this just from seeing coverage on Sportscenter in the past but I didn't realize how many people go to an event like this and just...follow specific golfers around. I just wrote up a review of Truist Park in which I complained about the lack of actual seating available and having to stand for long periods of time, and yet it seems like quite a few golf fans do that quite willingly. That must be very tiring. Anyway. For what it's worth, I thought the grounds were gorgeous. Very lush greenery, and the optics were greatly assisted by the weather - unseasonably cool for the ATL (probably 80ish) and partly sunny. I noticed toward the end of the day that some of the pathways on the grass were starting to get pretty muddy/worn down, but I imagine that's par for the course (pun not intended). The 15th hole where I spent the majority of my time had an interesting water feature; the green sort of juts out like a peninsula so if it's windy it's not unusual for the ball to fall into the water; since the weather was nice, we saw minimal drama at this hole, though Scottie Scheffler's repeat bid was probably officially thwarted right around here. I imagine a lot of places like this are only as good as their staff; everyone I interacted with at the Club was very professional and personable, from the employees overseeing the security area at the entrance (very easy process, which was probably aided by my decision a day earlier to remove the Swiss Army Knife from my keychain) to the myriad of people in and around the suite, who were always available for a quick chat and no judgment at my obvious lack of awareness. Top marks all the way around. I also have no idea how much work goes into this, but everyone involved in temporarily cordoning off pathways for the golfers to get from hole to hole without getting mauled by the fans? Impressive work. I can't imagine when I'll be back unless I miraculous win another random contest, but this was super cool. I'm more of a fan of the mainstream sports (baseball, football, etc.) - this was a nice change of pace.

One of the worst experiences I've had in a while. Glass of wine 18.50, four shrimp 19.00, dark and gloomy inside . Parking $40, I could probably guess food was heated air fryer because the smell of food was none. Ran out of egg rolls after first order. Located in the corner next to smoke shop. Don't be fooled to any reviews with anything more than a 2 star. These people should be ashamed. Not to mention you charging for drinks but drinking out of cups.....low class at its finest.....never again oh ok the help was nice at asking every 5 minutes do u need anything. When exploring Atlanta's vibrant attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, Fox Theatre, or Centennial Olympic Park, keep your eyes peeled for the whimsical Tiny Doors ATL. This captivating art initiative features miniature doors that add a touch of magic to the cityscape. Created by various artists and designed to fit dollhouse proportions, these tiny masterpieces can be found in unexpected places throughout Atlanta. Each door showcases unique styles—from simple paintings to intricate sculptures—making them perfect for an Instagram-worthy photo op.
I absolutely love tiny doors ATL! Anyone that visits Atlanta would do themselves a huge favor by going on a hunt for these miniature harbingers of imagination! The amazing artist has made a map all of the free handicapped accessible tiny doors around the city, and my friends and I have gotten so much joy from both intentionally seeking them out and accidentally stumbling upon them! This weekend we were fortunate to enjoy a guided tour along the Atlanta BeltLine in Reynoldstown! Tiny doors ATL is a true gem! 💎
Stephanie H — Google review
What a wonderful thing to have in ATL! Before my trip, I researched a ton and saw the Tiny Doors pop up pretty quickly and found it so interesting. I was in ATL for 6 days and was able to get 10 doors while doing other touristy things as well. There’s a whole website dedicated to the Tiny Doors created by the creator which provides a Google Maps link to finding the doors, about the Tiny Doors history, a PDF with each door’s address an in numbered order too. In total, I think there’s about 37, but at least when I was there 4 were under repair. Also, keep in mind majority are numbered and outside, but there are around 4 that are inside actual places like the Fernbank Museum, Georgia Aquarium, etc. Overall, a very fun scavenger hunt thing to do if you’ve got time and something I’ll definitely continue when I return to ATL!

What an amazing event to go on the Tiny Door tour!! I have always loved seeing the tiny doors in the unexpected places all over the Beltline! Favorite part is hearing from the artist herself, tell her story!! We even created tiny doors for my neighbors when I visited the Tiny Door Shop a couple years ago, photo attached. Thank you for all that you do!!

Going on the Tiny Doors tour with Karen and then seeing the Tiny Doors studio was a wonderful experience! You will only see a handful on this tour, but you will take away tones of fascinating information! The tiny doors are absolute gems in Atlanta, something that no other city has. And to hear Karen talk about how she landed on the idea for the tiny doors, and what it takes to locate and create one, is really impressive. I learned a bit about what it takes to create a public piece of art and all the thoughts that go into each of the pieces. Weather, people, and other environmental things, along with ongoing maintenance, need to be taken into consideration. Karen also explained what she hopes her art evokes in those who get to view it. In addition, she talked about how some of the pieces have "changed" their surroundings. Very interesting! I dabble in art and a lot of what Karen talked about regarding her art has never crossed my mind. I found her to be fascinating and mindful of not just her art but the effect her art has on people and on the surrounding area. Visiting the Tiny Doors studio was an added plus. The studio is very cute, as it should be for such cute art projects, and it is very well organized which has to translate into efficient. I hope new Tiny Doors continue to pop up around the Atlanta area. They are all precious and I can't wait to see each other as they are installed. Thanks, Karen, for a magical morning!

If you're looking to see Atlanta, you can go to Tiny Doors ATL and click on the map, the locations will take you on a fun scavenger hunt around the city! We had so much fun the first weekend we spent looking for Doors that we came down 6 months later to complete our hunt!
