The Optimist, located in Atlanta, is a popular restaurant owned by Chef Ford Fry. The restaurant offers a modern space with a raw bar and serves a variety of seafood dishes such as lobster rolls, gumbo, wood-fired oysters, hush puppies, and shrimp. Executive Chef Adam Evans creates unique renditions of seafood staples like wood hearth roasted mangrove snapper and duck fat poached swordfish with smoked short ribs.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday at this restaurant — and we were absolutely delighted! 🥂 The atmosphere was cozy, the service was top-notch, and our waiter was especially attentive and kind — thank you to him for the care and warmth. The food truly deserves special praise: the oysters were incredibly fresh, the Arctic char was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth, and for dessert, we had a delightful meringue dessert — light, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious!

Wow what an amazing experience! Came for a friend's birthday dinner and everything was fantastic. Delicious food and the outstanding service really stood out! We tried the spicy kale salad, she crab soup, hush puppies, and sword fish entree. Everything was tasty, but the best parts of the meal were the complimentary butter rolls at the start of the meal (they came out piping hot, perfectly soft and buttery, and with a finish of flaky salt) and the hush puppies too (perfectly fried soft on the inside and finished with some powdered sugar beignet style for a nice savory and sweet combo). Dessert was the HIGHLIGHT of the meal. The muscadine sorbet was wow so fresh and the flavor of the grape really popped. We also tried the apple layer cake with rosemary ice cream, and the flavors in it were so unique and delicious as well. The rosemary ice cream was incredible and had slight savory notes, and the brown butter crumble balanced it well. Would return again simply for the dessert!! I also wanted to give credit to our amazing waitress! The service was fantastic and she was very kind to accommodate any requests we had. Will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed dinner here. We were given a gift certificate. The food was beautifully prepared. The restaurant is nice and our server was awesome. Honestly we felt the tables were too close together and the music was too loud and the oysters were really small for the price. The steak could have had more seasoning. The salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had and the rolls and potatoes were perfect! The lava cake looked delicious but it was overly gooey. Almost like uncooked brownie batter and Hershey’s syrup.
Angela A — Google review
Valet parking was offered for $6 which was the most convenient option. Hosts during checking in for reservation were friendly. And as walking in greeted by other employees as well. Since it was just me, I sat at the bar. Patrick was my server/bartender. He explained the drinks well in regards to ingredients and taste. Food was good. I ordered the octopus, wood roasted oysters, and the duck fat poached swordfish. Everything was delicious. Was advised they change options on their menu often so will definitely be back.
Shadasia L — Google review
Some of the food was phenomenal, and some of it was just meh. My swordfish and my girlfriend’s halibut were both overcooked slightly. It made for chewy and dry seafood. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The sauce in the swordfish is flavorful and the star of that dish! The potatoes are crispy and flavorful. It’s very noisy in the restaurant. The outside seating was much quieter. Our service was EXCELLENT. Holden was our server. He was knowledgeable and timely. Provided great menu insights.
Jessica G — Google review
It was a really good culinary experience. My favorite part was the $1,75 happy hour oysters at the bar. I had the devils eggs, Bluefin Tuna carpaccio and lobster roll. I will definitely come back. At first I was a little disappointed because it took about 20 minutes to get my oysters but I realized later that was because they brought all the 24 at once. I will recommend to the management to add some coasters so that the bar doesn't get wet and we don't get wet with the condensation of the cold drinks.
JC C — Google review
Great dining experience! Our server Austin M went above and beyond to ensure all of our dining expectations were met! I love when servers are knowledgeable about the options on the menu! It makes choosing a dish so much easier! I couldn’t get enough of the bread rolls. I swear they were just swimming in butter. That’s how delicious they are! I ordered the mocktails and those drinks were very light and refreshing. Perfect for the summer time. I ordered 2 rounds of the Wood Roasted Oysters because I’m obsessed with Oysters. Lol! For my main dish, I ordered the Denver steak, medium well with the summer vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection! You guys will definitely be seeing me again! Thanks for a wonderful dining experience 🤗

This is my second time here and it was just as good as I remember. The food and drinks were phenomenal and this was my first time getting an order from the oyster bar. Deducted a point for atmosphere as it was quite loud for a pretty chill Thursday night.

Kimball House, located in a former train station built in 1891, is now a stylish eatery and raw bar offering farm-to-table dishes with a French twist. The restaurant is renowned for serving some of the freshest oysters in the city and plans to start farming their own oysters soon. The interior and exterior maintain the energy of motion reminiscent of a transit station, with tiled floors, high ceilings, and tall windows.
This was our first time here, and WOW, some of the best oysters and steak we’ve had in as long as we can remember. Drinks were great as well. If you’re looking for steak, go for the spinalis, you will NOT be disappointed! We sat outside on the (covered) patio in the rain, and the atmosphere was lovely! Not crowded or loud at all. We will definitely be back

Good place for drinks and snacks. They change the menu often so wait for mains you’d want to try. We had the Hawaiian roll, it came with fresh strawberry preserves which were excellent! Our waiter said the pork belly lettuce wraps was a sleeper item and so glad he recommended them. Really unique and it had pickled strawberries which was nice. Dessert was the dark chocolate tart, it was too bitter for my but my husband loved it. Good amount of searing at the bar if you just want to drinks and snacks
Kavita — Google review
Fancy place for oyster lovers. They have so many different kinds to pick from, each with detailed explanations of their taste profiles. The drinks were good. I got the scallops and they were juicy and very sweet. Definitely on the pricier side. Overall a good dining experience, especially for the seafood lover.

I love this restaurant! Their food is amazing and they have the best cocktails. And you can’t forget they always have fresh oysters. It’s a great place for celebrations.
Ludmila S — Google review
Such a kind, helpful and knowledgeable team! The oysters are so fabulous! I couldn't keep them in my mouth long enough. Don't even get me started on how magnificent the caviar was. I. Would have ordered three!

This is such a beautiful restaurant. We made a reservation last minute and arrived about 5 on a Sunday only to realize we had made the reservation fkr the floor Wednesday. The host was very kind and fixed our reservation and seated us immediately. Parking was slim to none but we found something on the side street. Their cocktails were great. We loved the old fashioned. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful flavor. The trout over blue corn grits was out of the ordinary and delicious. Don't forget to order the rolls. We will be back.
Jessica B — Google review
We ordered a ton of food and while most of it taste really great, I didn’t feel like it was “to die for”. Also parking is not ideal and not validated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very well done. Our server was very nice and welcoming. We went for our 5 year anniversary, I emailed them before asking if they do anything and never heard back which was a little disappointing. Food Hawaiian Rolls - 5 stars served with a whipped butter and jam that were great French Onion Soup - 4 stars good and full of flavor, enough to split Kale salad - 5 stars the salad had a nice Cesar dressing with fried shallots on top Snapper - 3.5 stars, the fish was cooked to the perfect temp and most of the skin had a good crunch. The beans it’s served on didn’t wow me Duck - 3.5 stars, the Duck was good but the side it was served with didn’t hit the mark for my partner. Fingerling Potatoes - 5 stars, Crispy and delicious with cheese and aioli Mock Tails - 6 stars (out of 5), these were amazing and you can tell they used fresh ginger!
Brian B — Google review
Absolutely amazing, what a great experience we had, from the exquisite food parings to wine selection. Couldn't fault anything. We will be back. Oysters such a wide selection & beautifully clean, Duck, so crispy & so tender. Pork with an Asian flare, dessert to die for! Just amazing! Thank you to Dan G for caring for us & making us feel Like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Thank you we really enjoyed our time there.

Fontaine's Oyster House is a casual seafood spot located in Atlanta's Virginia-Highland neighborhood. Despite its dive bar ambiance, it offers an extensive raw bar and a menu filled with underwater delights. The cozy booths, old-school chandeliers, and seaport light fixtures create an inviting atmosphere to enjoy delicious seafood. Guests can savor the freshest oysters in Atlanta while dining under the stars on the patio or in one of the comfortable booths.
This is now one of my top five favorite Oyster house. I was taking away when my guests and I were taken to the outside area for dining: the wrap around patio gave it a New Orleans vibe. We went on a windy day however I did take notice in the ceiling fans that were located outside for hotter days. Oysters were a 10/10 especially with the butter garlic sauce. I ordered the Rockefeller and Nola oysters; my boyfriend favorite were the crab & bacon oysters he also ordered the catfish plate, in which he said it was too big! ( not sure if that’s an issue for some but possibly enough for 2 to enjoy) drinks were made to perfection. I will be going back very soon. It’s definitely a vibe even if you decide to just enjoy drinks the atmosphere is welcoming. Great for date night or lunch just GO!
Yaya S — Google review
The freshly baked oysters were absolutely delicious! Raw oysters were ok. The salad was good, though a bit heavy on the dressing. The lobster mac and cheese was tasty, and the fried fish was decent. The pasta was outstanding. For dessert, I highly recommend the key lime pie – it's a must-try! The service was excellent, as always. This is our third time dining at this restaurant, and we’ll definitely be back for more.
Pam H — Google review
I went here because of the 48 oysters (IYKYK😂) but I was blown away! Oysters were big, plump and fresh. Service was a bit slow because it was rocking so I only got 1 dozen but I wish I got two 😆 the lobster bisque was also quaaality, would recommend! Cocktails were very thoughtful and well balanced. I also loved the ambiance: low lighting, good music ... I felt transported!
TyLisa J — Google review
My lobster roll was 6 inches of tastelessness. Fries were good, though. Our drinks were phenomenal. They were good and strong. I don't remember the name of it, but we asked the waiter which cocktail was the most popular. We chose the one she recommended. We sat outside on the balcony. Beautiful view of the live plants they have lining the railing. I forgot our waiter's name, but she was great! I am willing to try another entrée off the menu, though, despite what I said about the tasteless 6-inch lobster roll.

Table for 3 for lunch We initially stopped in just to take a look at the menu. After reviewing it, we spotted a few items that caught our attention and decided, “Yeah, let’s grab lunch here.” As we made our way to the host stand, a gentleman appeared from around the corner—not particularly warm or welcoming. I let him know we were a party of three and would like to sit outside. He grabbed three menus and guided us to the back patio.  The outdoor seating area gave off a definite New Orleans vibe—inviting and relaxed. Shortly after, our server approached and asked if we’d dined there before. When we said it was our first time, she let us know she'd give us a few extra minutes to look over the menu, which we appreciated. Wifey ordered one of her old favorites, a Blue Moon. I went with “Juiced on Ponce,” and our friend ordered “A Night on Ponce”—both of our beers from 3 Taverns Brewery. We placed our food orders at the same time. Wifey chose the lobster roll with tater tots, while I went with the fried grouper Baja Tacos, also with tots—extra crispy. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Presentation was solid, and everything tasted good overall. In fact, it looked so good that another guest stopped by our table to ask what we had ordered and commented on how amazing it looked. My grouper could've been a little crispier, but the flavor was good.  Wifey really enjoyed her lobster roll and the portion was pretty big. After we finished eating, we ordered another round of drinks and continued catching up. Overall, it was a positive first experience at Fontaine’s. I’d definitely return if I’m back in the area.  4 stars for the laid-back, New Orleans-style patio—it’s a great vibe. While our server wasn’t exactly warm and fuzzy (she came off a bit detached, maybe overwhelmed), it didn’t take away too much from the experience.
Darrin R — Google review
This is one of my favorites in atlanta, they have a good oyster selection and they never disappoint. Authentic Cajun food and their out door patio is the best, even in the winter.
Sade C — Google review
The menu is primarily cajun seafood, but with a few staples such as burgers, fries, etc. The food is great and my favorite dishes are the peel-n-eat shrimp, fried calamari and the blackened grouper po boy. I am not an oyster eater but my daughter and husband love them. I have never had bad service anytime I have gone. Parking is tight so rideshare or be prepared to take a few minutes to find parking. The ambiance is okay. I like sitting on the patio but the chairs are plastic and a little flimsy. If you partake in alcoholic beverages, they are moderately priced and pretty tasty. This will continue to be on our list as we go several times a year. Overall we continue to enjoy the restaurant and it's consistent tasty food and service.
Charla D — Google review
The ambiance of Fontaine's restaurant is lovely. We also thought the service was top-notch. To start our lunch, we ordered the lobster bisque, which was so good and had lots of yummy lobster bits in it. Then we had a dozen oysters on the half shell, and they were buttery and tender. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and enjoyed it. I ordered the shrimp and scallop jambalaya. Now, maybe I'm spoiled, having had Cajun food in Louisiana and Alabama, but this dish just didn't have the flavors that it should have had. The quality of the seafood was very good, making this just a tasty rice dish.

BeetleCat is an upscale oyster bar and cocktail lounge that offers a diverse menu of globally inspired seafood and custom drinks. The trendy shore-style bar, lounge, and restaurant features beachside snacks, refreshing crudos, raw bar specialties, and wood-oven cooking. The nautical influences in the upstairs dining rooms create a seaside fish camp ambiance while the Den below deck exudes 70s-inspired surf shack vibes.
We had brunch here a couple of times when we went to the Inman Park festival in recent years. The food is very good. Their service is great as well. However, once we sat outdoors on the porch, that area smelled unpleasantly - it stank. I wonder if some homeless people have been sleeping on the bench at night.

Came in for brunch and had a glazed donut, lobster roll and the shrimp and avocado salad, the biscuits and a side of fries. The. glazed. donut. was. SO. Delicious. It was just made, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, the glaze was the perfect amount of sweetness. Best donut I’ve ever had. The lobster roll was good. I like their choice bread, would order without the aioli next time. The salad was good as well but the donut was really the star for me. Would definitely come back. Want to visit for dinner too, their menu sounds really good. Other things to note: the staff was super kind and welcoming, very knowledgable and accommodating for allergies. And they have indoor and outdoors seating.

Dined in on a Friday night for a casual cousin meet-up. We were able to make reservations easily online. Upon arrival, the host kindly accommodated a last-minute increase in our party size without any issues. The service was attentive, and the teamwork among the staff was especially noticeable. I ordered the baked oysters, lobster roll, and fries. I had zero complaints about the food--everything was delicious. Although the fries didn't come with the lobster roll by default, I was able to order them on the side. I also appreciated that they offered the lobster roll warm, as it's typically served cold. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely return to try other items on the menu.

We love oysters and that’s why we came here, and it didn’t disappoint! Great oyster selection. Delicious drinks and wine. The peach salad, fish and chips, and the ikura dip were all excellent. I also enjoyed the decor, like a boat.

This is our new monthly date night spot! It’s pricey, but every single dish was exceptional 🤤😋 we came during happy hour for a platter of oysters 🦪 make sure to try out their fried rice and the coconut curry, it’s a great combo

Edit: As promised, I returned and found that in the 29 days since I last visited they changed the way they serve the lobster roll ($44 each). The last time i was asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I always get mine hot. I didn't notice i wasn't asked this time until I bit in and found it not only cold, but chewy. When the server returned was informed they are to serve them only cold now. I'm so disappointed. Why change something so perfect? I was looking for a tasty lobster roll but ended up falling in love with the place. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were top-notch! I will definitely be back.

We were visiting Atlanta for the weekend down from Canada. The night before we checked out a different "award winning" restaurant, and we were frankly let down. We read about BeetleCat and gave it a shot the next night. The service and the food were amazing. 2 years later we are still talking about it, and it was the best place we ate at in Atlanta.

We had such a lovely time here - we were a group of seven and ordered most things on the menu! Everything was amazing, but our highlights were the ceviche, snapper crudo, beef tartare and Moqueca stew. For cocktails, would recommend the Fish House Punch and Tokyo Drift. Our group loved the coconut pie desert too. Thank you also to our server Indigo - super lovely and great recommendations!

The open floor plan and dim lighting create a calm atmosphere, perfect for enjoying their amazing seafood dishes. While the service may have been lacking on some occasions, the food consistently impresses diners. This was exactly what was needed to end off such a great girls trip. We were craving oysters and our girl Danielle (a regular) said she knew just the place and it was not a disappointment at all! Greatest and seated by the hostess quickly even though we were early for our reservation. Our server (unique name am punching the air I forgot) was impeccable with his service. He had plenty of recommendations and specials that helped a lot. The oysters were to die for so fresh and flavorful we did two rounds and finished every one with no regrets. The drinks hit as well light and refreshing. You can’t beat the deals on the quality and hospitality I was blown away and can’t wait to return for another round. The atmosphere feels like they want you stay an awhile and get comfortable have a drink while you wait. Great time all around will return next time I’m in town

A situation happened at the bar tonight with two young women who were having card issues, but Robert, the manager on duty, and the two bartenders handled it exceptionally well! I know Rachel was one of the bartenders, though I didn’t catch the other young lady’s name. The two women were yelling, irate, and belittling the staff — even making rude comments about how much they do or don’t make. Despite that, the staff did everything right. They stayed calm, tried to diffuse the situation, and went above and beyond to accommodate the guests. But as we all know, you can’t make everyone happy! Kudos to C&S for always maintaining such professionalism and grace under pressure. I come here at least twice a week and will absolutely continue doing so. Mrs. Delta has built an incredible team — they truly treat me and everyone else who comes in like family! I’ll keep telling everyone I know how amazing this establishment is!

Wonderful experience . Food was perfect. My wine was delightful. Our server was Eli, he had a great personality , the best customer service and super pleasant ! I could have these oysters over and over again! The steak, calamari and salad were all amazing .ill be back much sooner than later .

Fantastic dining experience was had by all. Thoroughly enjoyed the food from apps to drinks to main course and dessert. A taste explosion in every bite. Our waiter was great, maybe too friendly, if that's possible. Cons..parking...it's a simple operation that seems way too complicated for this location. Finally, price... c'mon?! This reflects the 4 stars.

C&S Oyster House never disappoints. On my first visit, my server Darius recommended the lychee back and the barramundi—both were excellent. I returned a second time and specifically requested him, and once again had a great experience. He’s knowledgeable, accommodating, and makes dining here even better.

Went there on Friday afternoon to have a single celebratory lunch after having a really crappy work shift.Heard their chargrilled oysters was amazing for happy hour so figured I'd give them a shot..Mannnnnnn, some of the BEST food I've had in a LOOOOOONG time. From the moment you step inside, you def get 5 star service and ambiance but without being univiting or pompous.Kaylin was my server and was sooo sweet and attentive without being overbearing. And was also really knowledgeable about the menu items and even had some great recommendations. At one point or another, all the managers on shift had done a table touch amd checked on how my experience was going which I appreciated. What started out as a really crappy birthday had a complete 180.And the GM Delta was also very nice and you could tell that she takes pride in the her establishment and wants nothing short of an outstanding experience for her patrons. MUST TRY: CHARGRILLED OYSTERS, LOBSTER RISOTTO, AND CRISPY BRUSSELS. FOR A BIRTHDAY DESSERT I GOT THE WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING WITH SOME SORT OF GELATO THAT WAS LITERALLY THE BEST ICE CREAM IVE EVER HAD!!AND THE LYCHEE MARTINI WAS 10/10. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!

A big disappointment. This was my second visit. The first time I had shrimp and oyster plate. The three shrimp and three oysters were delicious but I was expecting a little more for the price. Today I took my two out of town granddaughters anticipating items on the lunch menu. Instead we were offered the dinner menu and learned from the waiter that lunch is not served on Saturday. It would have been nice if that was stated on website. What was supposed to be a special occasion was quite the opposite. We were not told the market cost so I don’t know how much my granddaughter paid

I thoroughly enjoyed eating here!! The atmosphere was great and the service too. The food was excellent!! I had the shrimp and scallop platter, which was so tasty but not too fishy. The basil in it was perfect with the lemon. The scallops literally melted in my mouth! My husband had the shrimp cowboy and he inhaled it!!! I am definitely coming back!

Hands down some of the best seafood we've ever had. Great portions and nice price point. The hush puppies are incredible! Excellent service along with a nice vibe and atmosphere. Food came out quick. Highly recommend and will definitely return on our next trip back to ATL.

Absolutely wonderful! So glad this place was recommended from a friend! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and good! Beer battered onion rings and zucchini fries were to die for. Clam chowder was amazing too! Not a single bad thing to say! I had blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly, taste was delicious! Kids had burgers and buffalo chicken sandwich. We also had a steak dinner that was soooo tender! Yummy in our tummies! Our waitress was prompt, observant and did her job so well! Thank you all for the great time! Will be back next time we're in town! See you soon!!! 🔥😍🥰❤️

My first time dining in Atlanta and I’m so happy we choice this spot. We had the catfish basket with a side order of fried oysters and the cheeseburger with fries. It was delicious! The part we enjoyed the most was Shipreck Lemonade drink. It was frozen, tasty and subtle, but strong. The waitress was very funny and welcoming. It’s worth the visit.

Great spot for tasty, and healthy seafood and beyond options!! The wait was an hour but I quickly found out why!! The food was delicious and drinks were DRINKS!! The homemade strawberry lemonade was delicious too. Customer service was awesome they even changed the tv for us to watch the game! Gave causal comfort vibes and felt like everybody knew everybody with all the smiles and laughter and hugging going on!! Definitely recommend for a night out with friends!!

First time for us. We had buffalo bites as a starter. My wife and I shared fish and chips. It’s was tasty and the jalapeño tarter was the best part. Our server was very kind and engaging. She checked on us often. Great vibe and we’ll be back and recommend to friends.

As A First-timer Six Feet Under is Definitely Recommended. The Fried Green Tomatoes and the Calimari were a nice start. The Margaritas were O so Strong and On Point. Ordered the Shrimp and Scallops which was very nice. My only take away was that for the price point of The Shrimp and Scallops I was expecting just a lil more of the entree. Overall a great seafood spot to visit.

The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill Buckhead is a laid-back, beachy eatery in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood that offers a variety of seafood dishes and cocktails. The restaurant sources its seafood from the Southern coasts and features a coastal-themed interior with a spacious outdoor patio hosting live music during happy hour. Specialties include creamy lobster mac n cheese, dueling lobster tails on Tuesdays, and limited orders of lobster egg rolls on Wednesdays.
Had a great time at Big Ketch. The food and service were immaculate. Super shout out to our server Coral not only was she gorgeous but super sweet and accurately with taking our orders. Thanks Coral hope to see you again soon

This is a great little spot to take a date or your family. The food was good, and they have small to large party dinning both indoors and outside on the patio. I only gave 4 stars for the food, but I definitely think it was what I ordered. I don't think it was bad, but I took a recommendation that I don't think was for me. I will definitely go back and try something different next time.

I was excited to try this saltwater grill in the Atlanta area because good seafood up here is hard to find sometimes! We went with friends who recommended this place, they go all the time. Our service was fine, nothing spectacular. We went on a rainy night and did not have to wait for a table at all. It was pretty dead inside. The best part about the dinner was honestly the drinks. They had yummy cocktails and I felt like they were reasonably priced, which is rare in Buckhead. My boyfriend and I split a dozen oysters for an appetizer and I’ve never received oysters where half were SO incredibly small. There was basically no oyster meat in half of the dozen. It was sad, total waste of money on oysters. For my entree, I ordered blackened grouper with a side Caesar salad. The portions are very small for the price you pay. The fish was fine, nothing exciting. Not much flavor. The salad was also underwhelming and it was an upcharge which is normally fine if it’s worth it. I was not a fan of this restaurant and probably wouldn’t return. It wasn’t bad necessarily but it definitely was not good enough to return for the portions and price.

Stopped by on a Monday evening. Not crowded at all but had reservations anyway because you never know here in Atlanta. Walked in and was greeted and sat immediately. They gave the option to either sit inside or outside so decided to sit outside. The outside patio was covered and had fans as well. There were TVs (for those wanting to still watch the game). We had the oysters which were good, but as other reviews have mentioned they are on the small side, still delicious though. Also had the calamari. I didn't care for the calamari as it just didn't taste fresh. Meaning it tasted as if it was cooked but sat under a heat lamp too long (had that rubbery bite and chewy breading). For dinner I had the grilled grouper, coconut rice and the broccoli. My girlfriend had the Salmon BLT and fries. Both dishes were good. All in all, cool little spot to eat and to chill & chat.
Scott D — Google review
I ordered in for Mother’s Day and was truly disappointed at the portion sizes at this restaurant. I ordered the blackened shrimp smoked Caesar salad and a fried shrimp wedge salad. The salad alone was about $15. It was an additional $10 to add the shrimp. When I received the order, I learned that the shrimp add-on included only 3 shrimp. 3 shrimp for $10 lol? I know we’re in a recession but my lord. And it was SO MUCH SALAD in comparison to the side shrimp portion. You’re better off getting the side Caesar with shrimp for that matter. I also ordered the shrimp & crab dip for my neice which she seemed to enjoy, and the seafood basket for myself and that was just okay. The hush puppies and fries were well seasoned and yummy. Great aioli for dipping sauce, but nothing worth writing home about. Honestly, no different in flavor and quality than battered cod and fish sticks from the freezer section.

Melissa G — Google review
We enjoyed all of our food. We were in the area and decided to stop in for an early dinner. The space is pretty big and they are in a shopping center with lots of parking. The outside has a few photo opportunities that you can take advantage of too. You’re greeted as soon as you step in and seated almost immediately. We were definitely seated immediately. Our booth had a step up, so we were sitting above some of the other seats, but we thought it was cool. We just had to remember there was a step down when we were leaving. I enjoyed everything I ate here. I really liked the oysters and calamari, but everything tasted amazing. Everything was the right temperature and very flavorful. I even ordered a drink and it tasted good as well. Look over the menu before you go so you’ll have an idea of what you want. When you arrive you might be overwhelmed with the amazing options and choices. The service was really good here too. Be prepared to leave full and satisfied with your meal and with what you have paid.

Bully Boy, located off the Eastside Beltline trail near Two Urban Licks, is a versatile Japanese seafood spot offering a variety of dishes. The menu features Blue Point oysters, sushi rolls like the Godzilla roll with spicy salmon, and options like red snapper or scallops over creamy risotto. The restaurant also offers kaiseki-style plates for sharing.
Had a wonderful time celebrating my girlfriends birthday this evening. Had a reservation at 7:30 and they sat me at the perfect spot for the occasion. One of my favorite parts of tonight was definitely the atmosphere loving the open kitchen and live trees. Ordered the volcano roll to start as our appetizer and we really enjoyed it was the perfect start to the dining experience. Me and my girlfriend shared the octopus, char grilled oysters, blue point oyster and also a rainbow roll. All the food was presented so well and tasted as good as it looked. The octopus was definitely my favorite dish of the night and I would highly recommend it. At the end they surprised my girl with a lovely chocolate lava cake, will be back soon to try more!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now, and FINALLY, on Saturday, I had such a pleasant experience. For starters, Robert my waiter, was phenomenal. Robert was extremely attentive without over doing it. Robert made menu suggestions and truly just rolled out the red carpet, just off his service alone, I would return and request him. The restaurant is much smaller than it gives in the pictures but I love the plants and plenty of natural lighting. Parking is not the greatest but I did valet with Two Urban Licks after getting frustrated from doing a few laps. Bar seating is EXTREMELY limited maybe 10 seats or less. I did think the open kitchen cooking setup at the bar was cool, I believe it was just sushi being done but I couldn’t tell fully. Ok, back to Robert, as I was celebrating the tail end of my birthday, he gave me a card that was signed by the staff and presented a mini chocolate with icing and a candle, not only did he bring one for me but my guest as well as our birthdays are just a few days apart. I loved how he didn’t make us share a birthday dessert. We tried the broiled oysters, Brussels, crispy shrimp, a roll and this cool tuna bomb thingy. Unfortunately the tuna bomb fell extremely flat compared to everything we tried. The tuna had spice, lots of spice but lacked salt and actual flavor other than the spiciness. The playlist was great and wasn’t too loud. I would definitely recommend.

Glorious sushi experience! From the oysters to the calamari fries and the crispy brussel sprouts, our first time at Bully Boy was off to a phenomenal start! We then indulged on nigiri 🍣, hand rolls, and various sushi rolls which were all delicious and unique. If you have never tried scallops in a sushi roll, you are in for a treat!! You can tell how fresh the fish and all the other seafood ingredients are. Creative combinations! Service was fantastic, especially for how busy they were. The house sake made the perfect pairing with all the entrees. Love the atmosphere with the inside landscape and full view of the kitchen and open flames 🔥 There is available hourly parking and valet available for $3 which is walking distance from restaurant located at entrance of Two Urban Licks (another favorite of ours!) We will be back to enjoy both places!!

Good restaurant, but I have some THOUGHTS! A couple of friends and I thought we would try out this self proclaimed “classy restaurant” for my girlfriend’s birthday. We ordered sushi and a couple appetizers. It was good! Pretty much exactly what you would expect for the price - good quality and very tasty. Unfortunately, I do not feel comfortable ending my review there! After dinner, the drama began!! Our waitress displayed a QR code through which we were to pay the bill. We scanned the code, and, surprised at the total, asked the waitress if it included gratuity. We were confused when she said no, but as the link had no itemized break down of the cost we were forced to assume she was correct. We left a fair tip and began exiting the restaurant. It was then that we received a receipt for our meal via email. To our dismay, they had already included a 20% tip!! Not very classy Bully Boy. Fortunately when we brought this to the waitresses attention she apologized and refunded us our additional tip. It may be that she simply didn’t know the payment processing service and they used added gratuity automatically, but I have a hard time believing we were her first customers required to use it. In any event, make sure you check your email receipt if you think the total was a little too high! One more important note… The restrooms DO have locks which are unfortunately placed below (and obscured by) the LARGE door handle. At first glance, I was unable to locate the lock and feared being exposed to another guest seeking to relieve themself…

My partner and I took a sushi making class at Bully Boy and it was so much fun! Wendy Armando was a great instructor and the sushi was absolutely delicious. You also get three glasses of sake. Definitely worth the price.

Bully Boy is a trendy Japanese-fusion concept offering a plethora of shareable plates. We had an enjoyable experience and ordered 13 dishes for a party of three. First, let me say their service was superb. We were very well taken care of, and they even offered us complementary dessert. Quality-wise it was a mixed bag; here are all the dishes we ate, in order of preference: • Charbroiled Naked Jade Oysters (A+): Exceptional. The yuzu siracha butter and avocado emulsion make all the difference • Hamachi Crudo (A): A real highlight. Refreshing! And the watermelon radish and grapefruit are a nice touch! • Bacon Belly Bites (A): Excellent. Extremely flavorful • Calamari Fries (A-): Innovative! • Corn Tempura Fritters (B+): Very good • Beef Gyoza (B+): Very creative. Covered in edamame, bell peppers, and chili sauce • Godzilla Roll (B): Nice but not special. Spicy Salmon, Cucumber, Salmon Aburi, Lemon, Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce, and Cilantro • Kalbi Ribs (B): Solid, but I’ve had much better • Veggie Spring Rolls (B-): Decent • Tuna Nigiri (B-): Did not meet expectations considering the high price point (18 bucks for 2 pieces) • Mochi Ice Cream (C+): Just OK • Yuzu Pepper Wings (C-): Pedestrian hence disappointing • Duck Spring Roll (D): Very bland Before tipping, we paid $258 for a 3-person meal (12 shareable dishes, 1 complementary dessert, only water, no alcohol). Overall, I’d give Bully Boy a solid B.

Had an amazing experience here with my friends for an early dinner. We ordered 2 dozen oysters, the miso cod, grilled maitake, calamari fries and the spicy yellowtail roll. Chris was super helpful and double checked the whole menu for me since I’m gluten free, and labeled everything. She also made the best cocktails ever for my friends based on their tastes, all super yummy. Definitely recommend!!

I enjoyed dining here because my overall experience was great. The waiter was friendly and continuously checked on us throughout our dinner. The food items were great as were the drinks. Alici Oyster Bar is a delightful gem nestled in Midtown, celebrated for its innovative dishes and inviting atmosphere. This restaurant has quickly gained popularity, thanks to its Amalfi Coast-inspired menu that features unique offerings like tater tots topped with caviar. The relaxed dining space, complete with an outdoor patio adorned with white umbrellas, encourages guests to linger over multiple courses. Patrons rave about the exquisite oysters that are expertly shucked and the fresh flavors of bass and yellowfin tuna tartare.
Do yourself a favor and come have dinner here. The calamari was so crispy, the mussels were delicious I wanted a spoon to sip the broth. I would have been happy if I had stopped at the appetizers. But it got better. The red snapper was the star for me. Also had the squid ink pasta, so light and delicious. Hubby had the sea bass and loved it. The food was so good I forgot to take photos of half of it. Service was wonderful. Restaurant was clean and quiet. 10/10 Will be adding this to my rotation.

We paid for all you can eat shrimp and oysters. It was our anniversary. I enjoyed AWS Distillery and Perini being there. The food was half and half, the shrimp was over cooked at first but got better over time. The oysters were great, 12 at a time a piece. My husband really enjoyed himself. I gave some pointers on how not to overcook or waste all that good shrimp. Just wish we had some good sides, garlic beer butter, old bay seasoning (extra), salad. The Rye or Die drink from ASW was wonderful. I will be back. How many times a year does this happen.

Service was okay. Food can’t really vouch for it came for oyster. The oysters was lovely. This is actually the first oyster bar I’ve been too that I can taste the coastal difference in the brim. The vinaigrette could use a little more touch of sweetness , My son had fries, the fries for kids could be less crispy. Overall will come back for more oysters.

The oysters here never disappoint, always fresh and well-prepared. Most are sourced from the East Coast, so they have that briny flavor I love. However, there aren’t many tempting options for dinner, oysters seem to be the only thing worth coming for.

Been here a few times, always for happy hour-I can never get enough oysters! I love how clean your oysters come out, ready to be enjoyed! First time diners and took my boyfriend out for his birthday. Host team was great! However, our server I believe her name was Lauryn was definitely lackluster. She greeted us and was very nice at first, but was not attentive. Giving her the benefit of the doubt as I did noticed there was a large group and seemed like only 3 servers on the floor. Waters were never refilled and she checked back ever so often. Did not offer any additional cocktails. Literally, we flagged another server to refill our waters. Food was amazing! Oysters, calamari and deviled eggs were 10/10. My boyfriend got the spaghetti with shrimp and it lacked flavor. The salmon crudo was dosed in too much of the soy type sauce and way too salty. Corn elote was too salty as well. Shout out to the one server (don’t remember his name) who acknowledged that our experience was ehhh and was accommodating to help our experience. Also, no manager touched our table?! (Yes, I am in the industry). Dessert was amazing! Peach cobbler cheesecake. We did enjoy it and will return. However, maybe have more than 3 servers on the floor with a large group and they actually tend to their tables more. My water glass should’ve never been empty.

I'll start with the good, oysters were delicious and fresh. The place has a pretty and inviting aesthetic. Our waitress was welcoming. She did her best to create a good experience for us. Drinks were a challenge. The flavor of the cocktails were either too sweet, too dry or just off. We ended up going with a bottle of wine which was much better. Attention to detail can really make a difference in the experience here. Example, my fries were extremely overcooked. The cook and the server knew this and still brought them to the table. (I asked to confirm if they both looked at these burnt fries) Which, was yes. There should be a certain quality that hits a customers table. Overall experience is ok.

The establishment is known for its lively atmosphere and loftlike setting. As part of the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, it has been delivering fresh seafood and exceptional service since 1993.
We had a truly wonderful meal here, and it was clear from the first bite that the seafood is unbelievably fresh. The preparation was simple but expert, allowing the natural, pure flavors of the fish, Crab and Lobster. It felt like a true taste of the sea. What really elevated our visit, though, was the wonderful staff. They were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home and capped off a perfect dinner.

Whether we’re indulging in a romantic dinner, linking up with friends for a double date, or raising a glass for a family milestone, this spot is always at the top of our list. The Chilean sea bass deserves its own round of applause! It’s velvety, flavorful and melts like butter on your tongue. Seasonal menus keep the dining experience fresh and worth repeating. The service is top tier. On our first visit, we were so impressed we even snapped a photo with one of the waiters! Everything from the ambiance to the drinks is a whole experience. Celebrated birthday month with friends and, the food and service was as usual... amazing. I always enjoy being able to walk past the display of all the fresh portions of fish cut for the day. Ryan made sure our service was courteous. Food was prepared to order, swiftly delivered, and flavorful. If you've never been here, you'd need to come at least once.

The service was excellent — the waiter knew the menu very well, made thoughtful suggestions, and skillfully offered extras without being pushy. The fish was fresh, and the octopus as well. However, the bread served with the carpaccio was stale and clearly not fresh. From a chef’s perspective, the plating and presentation were rather average, nothing remarkable. Prices felt inflated for what was offered. Overall, attentive service and good quality seafood, but the value and presentation left something to be desired

Kevin Rathbun Steak is a modern chophouse located in Inman Park, Atlanta. It's renowned for its large portions and expertly cooked steaks, sourced locally and served with decadent sides like charred jalapeno creamed corn and scalloped sweet potatoes with Gruyere. Chef Kevin Rathbun's flagship restaurant has been a top steakhouse in Atlanta since its opening in 2007, drawing loyal fans from all over the United States.
Hosted my first Destination Dining event here at Kevin Rathbun Steakhouse and they didn't fall short. Let me start by saying that dinner was more like an experience. Our reservation for 7PM was ready for seating at 630 when I checked in. They seated my party of 17 diners together and with ample room to move about. Service was swift, seamless and consistent. Once ordered, drinks, appetizers, and entree's arrived at a flowing pace and at no time was our beautifully talented sever Antranae, ever gone long enough to be missed. Food was DELICIOUS, well prepared and fulfilling. I just have zero complaints about this experience. Hats off to the staff and Events Manager Aaron Wysocki who set this ball in motion. Where would I have been without you. At the end of the night, dessert was served and they made sure to include our Destination Dining into our dessert spread. Again, I had 17 people in my party and 3 days removed, I have yet to hear a complaint and this is me speaking to and interacting with everyone who was in attendance. I could go on & on & on but why waste your time, just go hungry and see for yourself. Based on the quality of food, service and attentiveness, I assure you when you look at the menu, it's priced appropriately and worthy of the hype and accolades. In closing I will simplify my review to one sentence. Kevin Rathbun Steak delivered above & beyond and did not disappoint. SLJ

We had a great experience! The steaks were divine and perfectly prepared. The only dislike was the sweet potatoes with cheese. The two did not mix well at all. The cheese overpowered the dish, overshadowing the sweetness of the sweet potatoes. The two were just not a great combination. The service was terrific, and the ambiance was just right. We will be back!

An incredible meal! For those of you with gluten allergies — or worse, celiac disease like myself — I can’t recommend Kevin Rathbun Steakhouse enough. They offer plenty of options and have a knowledgeable staff. Amber, in particular, was so helpful and sweet. She even spoke with the kitchen to ensure precautions were taken to avoid cross-contamination (as much as a restaurant reasonably can). I only had a 12-hour overnight layover in the city, and this place had me falling in love. Not to mention, for a steakhouse, the prices were truly reasonable. They even offer half portions of their sides and salads, which was perfect for a solo traveler.

Went to Rathburn’s in Atlanta and had the Cowboy Steak with spinach and potatoes, absolutely phenomenal. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and the wait staff was truly first class. Great atmosphere, great food, definitely worth the visit!

I visited Kevin Rathbun Steak this evening for the first time to celebrate my 41st birthday. With a reservation at 5:15pm, I walked in at a couple minutes after 5 and was immediately shown to a table. While the lighting inside was more dim than some may enjoy, it had a nice atmosphere perfect for a date night, a celebration, or anything really. Ron was the host who served me this evening, and he was amazing. Attentive without being overbearing, and prompt with service. He's a good one, for sure. I ordered the dry aged ribeye medium rare, and half orders of the mashed potatoes and roasted jalapeno creamed corn. This was also my first time having a dry aged steak, and it did not let me down at all. It was tender, juicy, and packed with tremendous flavors. It sits on top as the best steak I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were simultaneously somehow delicate and rich. The roasted jalapeno cream corn was, again, delightful. For dessert, I chose the praline bread pudding, and it was perhaps the best dessert I've ever had in my life. In all, with tip, my bill came out to a bit above $150. While I'll have to save up to go again, I will definitely come back. Thanks Kevin Rothbun Steak for such a tremendous meal to celebrate my birthday.

This is a fantastic restaurant right on the beltline across from LadyBird. A wide variety of high quality cuts of steak and delicious appetizers. The thick bacon and short ribs are excellent appetizers. The half salads as well as wedge salads are large and deliciously crafted. The cowboy ribeye is what I had and it was amazing. As a table we had the peanut butter banana cream pie, Rebecca's layer cake and the bread pudding. Everything I tasted at this restaurant was fabulous. If I could give it a 10 I would.

My daughter, DH and I went to celebrate his birthday 🎂. Food was great. We had a 6oz filet, 10oz rib eye, rack of lamb, asparagus, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and creamed spinach, raspberry sorbet, Rebecca's chocolate cake, coffee toffee bon bons. All the meat was cooked as ordered. Big shout out to Ron who was very personable and joined in our Shenanigans.

The Steamhouse Lounge is a casual bar and restaurant in Midtown Atlanta that offers a laid-back dining experience with a focus on seafood. The decor exudes a seaside charm, featuring eclectic wall decorations like old license plates and fish statues. Guests can choose to dine indoors or enjoy the outdoor deck seating, weather permitting. The menu boasts delicious fried seafood baskets, award-winning lobster bisque, and low-salinity oysters.
Hesitant to post this because I want to keep it chill so I can get a spot at the Bar. If you have not tried it you should. Food is always great and the Bartenders do a great job making you feel welcomed even when you are just landing there after a long day away from home on a work trip. Quickly becoming a Atl Mid Town favorite for me.

I love this place! We always get the oysters Rockefeller to start us off and Rum Punch. Alexis is the best server ever. And Mitch, the manger, is Mr Incredible! He recommended the chocolate dipped key-lime island freeze: heavenly💗

My boyfriend and I went there for the first time last night to celebrate his birthday. We live in the northern suburbs so we found parking to be a challenge, but not too much of one. This place is a must visit! Every single staff member we encountered displayed begond exceptional customer service. Shoutout to Mitch and Rebecca for making our experience top notch. They were both so kind and personable and made our first time there phenomenal. They were both attentive and kind and friendly and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience. We were able to try the bisque and it’s a MUST HAVE!! We ordered the friend catfish with hush puppies, steam pot seafood boil, and a dozen raw oysters. Everything was fantastic. Best hush puppies I’ve ever tasted. The seafood boil was to die for. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I usually hate tartar sauce and horseradish in my cocktail sauce but both these items here are exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is craving some very well priced and high quality seafood. Thank you to Mitch, Rebecca, and the kitchen staff for making this night so special.

I have been coming to steam house since 2021 and I’ve never had a bad experience. I usually go on Wednesdays for half off oysters. I order a cup of their lobster bisque soup. 10/10 every time. I love it because you can seat yourself, its 2 floors & they have outside seating. Great for big parties as well.

Been to The Steamhouse Lounge many times and it never disappoints. Easy to walk to and very friendly service with excellent food. Sitting on the roof deck with food and drinks just can't be beat as you can see everything happens on the busy street. One warning though, the drinks are very good and very strong and always taste amazing. Not sure how they do that.

I paid a visit on a Saturday night. You can chose any where to sit downstairs, upstairs or outside on the 1st floor patio. The food offering specialises in sea food and especially oysters. NOTE, there is no draft beer available. Large menu and plenty of bottled beer options. Good, sea shack style decor. I didn't eat, so can't comment on food service or quality.

Eclectic restaurant
Seven Lamps is a modern-rustic restaurant located in the Lenox Square shopping center. The name of the restaurant is inspired by an essay by English art critic John Ruskin, and it follows the seven principles of architecture in its food and drinks. Executive Chef Drew Van Leuvan creates excellent menus based on these principles. The restaurant offers seasonal American fare, handmade pastas, craft cocktails, and a courtyard for outdoor dining.
Brunch on a Friday was superb! It was a nice day, we sat outdoors. Our server was very attentive and the food was delectable, ornate and worth the pricing. I would go back here any day!!! I know why their mussels dish is so revered it was absolutely delicious. Their burger was made to perfection and their grilled chicken panini was a bite from heaven. My daughter had a glorious salad that was picture perfect, loaded and delicious. Since it was Mother's Day weekend we enjoyed taking candid shots in the outdoor area of this restaurant with the backdrop of Buckhead behind us, this place is right in the heart of everything. I can highly recommend it.

I went seven lamps and tried the chefs menu. That night they were serving fried goat cheese, Louisiana shrimp, salmon & tiramisu. Everything was decent, but I was not super impressed. The Louisiana shrimp were my favorite & came with a yummy sweet potato biscuit. I would go back, but would prefer to pick my own items vs the chef’s menu. The atmosphere is nice & the service was great!
Jasmine W — Google review
I think they were a little short staffed, but otherwise the food and drinks were very good. Having fresh al dente noodles in the lobster pasta was perfect. The salmon could have been seasoned better though for the salad (not pictured). The peanut butter espresso martini was soooo delicious, although there could be more peanut butter flavor and less cinnamon. We could barely taste the peanut butter. The appetizers (grilled oysters, raw oysters, sautéed grilled shrimp, and Brussels sprouts) were also really good. Was not a super heavy meal but filling.

The food was pretty good. But the service and atmosphere was really not great. I came with a group of 7 and the restaurant was pretty much empty, I counted 2-3 other tables on a Friday night. It took about an hour and a half to get our food and our waiter forgot someone’s food still. We had to track down our waiter several times to get things we had asked for and there were a few mistakes with our orders.

Love this place. I can always pop in and grab a table. I don't like that even when I eat inside Flying bugs are inside. It is also cold inside, bring a jacket. The menu changes but the food is always good. Parking is easy. I'd recommend.

We recently moved to Georgia, we’re south of Atlanta in Macon and came furniture shopping to Buckhead, we were starving by the time we were done and decided to grab a bite before heading back home, the place is beautiful and welcoming, the staff is friendly and warm but the food was phenomenal! We were so impressed with the corn that comes with the salmon, we hadn’t had anything like it before. Also ordered the lobster pasta and it was mouth watering good. We will definitely be visiting next time we’re in the area. Clara was our waitress and she was so nice and polite, our service was fast and also the manager Lee, were just great!

We have been going to seven lamps for a long time. They have had some struggles in the past but with the new chef/menu and front of the house manager, it is becoming great again. We have eaten there 2 times in the last month and both times everyone really enjoyed their meals. I have been very happy with the market fish selections. It is time to give seven lamps another try. It would be perfect if they brought back the scratch made ginger beer

Fish store
Fishmonger is a new seafood shop and lunch spot located in Atlanta, GA. The storefront offers a variety of experiences, including a lunchtime destination with delicious chowder and sandwiches, a retail market selling fresh cuts of fish for home preparation, and a BYOB raw bar serving impeccably prepared oysters, crudo, and shrimp cocktail. The laid-back vibe makes it an ideal place to enjoy high-quality dishes like the blackened grouper sandwich or oysters on the half shell.
I got the caesar salad and it was delicious! I could eat here everyday. The grouper was a nice kick to it. A very small restaurant and they charge a dine in fee. You can bring your own liquor/wine if you want.
Aces — Google review
I visited on a Saturday afternoon, drawn by the social media buzz around the grouper sandwich. The space is small and intimate, with seating best suited for a quick, casual meal. The staff were upbeat and friendly. We tried two of the daily specials—a cucumber salad and fish tacos—and, of course, the famous grouper sandwich. Honestly, the food was a letdown. My sandwich was messy; the fish was moist and flaky, but so wet that the bun fell apart. While it's a neat place to watch a fishmonger at work and grab a fast bite, the food wasn't anything special.
Jasmine A — Google review
Checked them out for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. • Blackened Grouper Sandwich: A very good sandwich — the grouper was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and well-seasoned. I would definitely get this again. • Cucumber Salad: Personally, I prefer my cucumber salad to be a bit more sour, but it was still fresh and tasty. I’ll definitely be back because I noticed several other menu items I want to try. Before I left, I overheard another customer mention that they always order the Caesar salad with grouper because it’s that good — so that’s on my list for next time. Note: They also tack on an extra charge for dine-in or takeout, which I wasn’t too thrilled about. The place is on the smaller side, with a few indoor tables and some seating outside on the sidewalk. I also noticed there’s parking nearby, though I wasn’t sure if it’s a paid lot or if validation is offered.
Shavone G — Google review
Cute spot tucked off Ponce so be mindful of available parking. Not that big inside and only a few spots outside. Ordered the Hot Fish & Grouper sandwiches, the potatoes and key lime pie and the gumbo Really enjoyed the Key Lime Pie and the potatoes (surprisingly!) My hot fish sandwich was a lot of food, since pan fried it wasn’t like the fried fish you would get from other places (as in deep fried) so it may be a tad messy to eat but it was good, just hot as hell with my first bite 😂 Grouper was good as well, seasoned well as well. Also enjoyed the gumbo, got to have all the meat mentioned in the description, wish I had more rice or bread just to enjoy the roux. For two sandwiches, gumbo, potatoes, pie,& 2 drinks with gratuity still under $100 in the city is a win to me Would come back to try other items I saw other customers order.

We had us a very Atlanta #foodiefridays while at @atlantafishmonger, and we have to say it was much more than we expected. The restaurant is small, so be prepared to be in tight quarters, but this definitely didn't take away from the amazing customer service, attention to detail, and the amazing fresh seafood. I am talking. You can watch your oysters being chucked and your fish breaded fresh!! As always, our system is 1♥️ which is the lowest meaning we hated it to 5♥️ plus, meaning we absolutely adored the dish. So here is what we had at Fishmonger on Friday: Smoked Fish Dip (pic2) ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ House cured and smoked whitefish, house pickled, and everything bagel chips. We definitely started off with a hit!! Rock Shrimp Ceviche (pic3 &4) ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Florida rock shrimp, lime, habanero, mango, avocado, and tostados. Extra bonus points for being a spicy, flavorful ceviche. This definitely hit our top 5 in Atlanta at the first bite! We would literally go back just to have ceviche! Thai Curry Mussels (pic 5) ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Green curry, coconut dashi, lime leaf. This is so delicious, if you love green curry, it's a must!! And you get a tub of mussels, it was a lot. Lobster Roll (pic 7) ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Warm split top bun, drawn butter, coleslaw, and pickle. The coleslaw was passable, but the actual roll was pretty dang good!! Hot Fish Sandwich (pic 6) ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Mississippi catfish with cornmeal crust, chili oil, celery salad, and buttermilk dressing. The crust and heat on this sandwich were amazing!! Key Lime Pie (Pic 9) ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Don't walk, run!! #fishmarket #atlantaeats #freshfish #atlantablogger #atlantarestaurants #t_vfooduniverse2025 #foodiefridays #foodiefridayswitht_vfooduniverse #fishmonger #lobsterroll #fridaywinddown #foodiesofinsta #foodies #fridayvibes😎 #atlantaeverything #virginiahighlandsatlanta #smallrestaurant #seafood #foodguides #T_vfooduniverse #mussels #lobster #catfish #top5 #atlantasbest #atlanta #foodphotography #foodiegrams #atlantafoodies #foodievibes

Louisiana Bistreaux Seafood Kitchen East Point is a New Orleans-style restaurant that serves up traditional Cajun and Creole dishes, along with a selection of wines and local craft beers. The place has recently undergone renovations, elevating its ambiance to the next level. Customers have praised the bartender for his exceptional drink-making skills, creating perfectly balanced cocktails. The food has received high praise as well, with standout dishes like shrimp etouffee and surf and turf being particularly recommended.
From the outside it’s a questionable place but once you’re inside you get excited! The food was great! The service was great!!! The vodka flights that I had while on lunch were pleasantly strong enough. Yes I give it a 10/10. No complaints…even the restroom was cute enough to take a pic in.

Everything was delicious and thr service was fast! Got the Cajun popcorn and I could have eaten just that for lunch, it was so light and delightfully crunchy. The crawfish ravioli and shrimp etouffee was also very tasty! The first place we ate on our trip to Georgia and it definitely set the bar high.

I haven't been here in several years & decided to have a nice and close anniversary dinner here. Everything was delicious. They were slow for some odd reason and so all of our food came out super quick. I absolutely don't plan to let several years go by before I go back! ☺️

I’ve never had a bad experience here. I don’t live in Atlanta anymore but I was in the area celebrating my birthday and decided to comeback, and I’m beyond glad I did ! The service, food, and atmosphere! I highly recommend coming here. Below will be pictures of our food we ordered.

Man… I hate to bash this black iconic establishment BUT!!! The food has gone downhill. Oh my dear God, I was so disappointed. I had the biggest craving for rice and beans today. Oh my God I’ve been craving it since lunchtime so I didn’t even eat lunch because I knew I was gonna stop by Louisiana bistreaux and pig out! I will see it very promptly and then waited 20 something minutes until somebody came to take my order. I don’t know what took them so long as they really weren’t that busy. I ordered oysters and I ordered the famous beans and rice with sausage. The oysters were tiny, but tasty. But the rice and beans oh my God, where do I begin the rice swollen like it was old rice the beans very thick as if they had been cooked days prior and just been sitting there and was reheated flavor on them was zero couldn’t believe it. They were salty, but no actual flavoring and the sausage. Oh my God the sausage was so dry in the inside. It’s like they took some old sausage that they had cooked days ago. Put it back on the grill to give it new grill marks I was so disappointed and I hate sending food back. My waiter however, was very understanding and took that immediately off the bill, but I didn’t have an appetite for anything else because I feel like if you messed up beans and rice but there’s no telling what else you’re gonna jack up. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve come here two times in the past and it was fabulous and I mean I came years ago like four years and then maybe three years ago so it’s been a while. I’m pretty sure it’s new management and/or new cooks, but oh my god that was not a good experience.

As soon as I walked in I felt so welcomed. My great grandma is 88 and our waitress Miss Selena was so attentive to her and all of us. She knew the menu through and through and everything she recommended was delicious. 3 of us tried the seafood gumbo which was the best gumbo I’ve ever had. The gator bites were delicious. For the main dish I had the red fish ponchartrain which was so good I rolled my eyes in the back of my head. Special shout out to our waitress Miss Selena for making our dining experience extra special. She’s officially a cousin and when we come back to ATL, we will definitely come back. Much love from NC

Good place for a Sunday brunch. We got lucky and were able to walk in for a table of 4. We sat on the patio since the weather was nice out. To Start we got the Boudin Balls and the blue crab dip. Good flavor and nice size. I had the Pastalaya for my entrée. I didn't see much of the inside as most of the time was spent outside. The patio was closed off with the only entrance/exit from inside the restaurant. Not much to look at outside the restaurant so the majority of the time was spent enjoying the food and company. Our server was kind and knowledgeable of the menu making substitutions and recommendations as necessary. It was a good visit but nothing really stood out to me as stellar.

If you're in Smyrna and craving a casual seafood experience, look no further than Hook Line & Schooner. This charming spot offers a modern atmosphere with an inviting bar and a small patio that's perfect for enjoying fresh seafood alongside your furry friend. Indulge in delicious options like peel-and-eat shrimp, lobster rolls, crab legs, and more while supporting local animal shelters through their unique round-up program. After hearing rave reviews from coworkers, I made my way to this delightful eatery.
My husband, daughter and I came to this wonderful place for a family dinner and now I can say that I fell in love with this restaurant we were served by the waitress Nicole, she was extremely kind and friendly, a very professional and pleasant girl! Decided to check out this place after a coworker's recommendation. Made a reservation and was seated quickly upon arrival. We tried the calamari, seafood wontons, hushpuppies for appetizers and lobster ravioli, and grouper with rice for the main meal. The fried food could have used a little more seasoning, but the lobster ravioli was great. And I could have eaten hushpuppies all night with that honey butter. We would definitely try this place again.

Stopped by for the 1st time for lunch. Was not expecting such good food being in a strip. The staff were excellent. They only had Manhattan Chowder and l’m a New England style, but I must say it was excellent and I ordered a second cup. I wished the menu would state the source of the oysters and fish I.e sustainably. Bugbear excessive use of single-use plastic straws and source cups which trash the Gulf Coast and we end up consuming at restaurants.

One of my favorite seafood restaurants near the city. Food is excellent! Every time I come here, they immediately sit us down. The customer service is great. Not much of a long wait for food either depending on what you order, everything comes out hot and fresh. I recommend the Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, HLS Oysters, and the Salmon.

Have been wanting to try HL&S for quite some time. Finally had the chance to do so. Normally I'm concerned when the wait staff looks exceptionally young. But Brett was phenomenal!! Bright spot of the evening!!Cocktails were great and the half-priced wine bottle night was an added bonus. The food was just OK. Not sure I'd say it's "the best seafood in Atlanta" but I'd still like to return and try the lobster roll.

Googled “best seafood in Atlanta”, and this location popped up. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We’re definitely glad we did. We were greeted by a nice hostess and seated immediately (reservation was at 5pm, but we got there early and we were seated upon arrival). We had a couple drinks from the bar, a few appetizers (stuffed lobster & crab and bang-bang shrimp), and a lovely dinner (fried shrimp & scallops and jerk chicken). The prices are reasonable and our food wait time was less than 15 minutes. We’ll definitely be returning for another future date night.

This place is the epitome of mid. I hate to leave such a poor review, but there was nothing good about our meal. Food quality, food preparation, flavor, atmosphere, service, all mid. Fish served with the glaze on the side. Appetizer takes 15 minutes to come out. Mash potatoes drier than the Sahara. No seasoning. I digress and will say the prices here are reasonable, but for 5%-10% more I'll have to take my wide load to another restaurant.

One Eared Stag is an American restaurant known for its quirky decor and a menu featuring house-cured meats and pickled vegetables. Chef Robert Phalen established the eatery in 2011, contributing to the subdued charm of Inman Park. The restaurant's unique ambiance includes a taxidermied deer with one missing ear overseeing the bar area.
Lovely place, fun atmosphere, great drinks, very nice and attentive staff. I ordered kimchi Carolina gold rice and it was phenomenal. We also ordered smelt, steak tartare, dumpster salad, English peas and collards (we were hungry). Every single thing was tasty and prepared well. If I lived in Atlanta I would frequent this place.

They were struggling with inventory shortage and staff coverage so I don't want to judge them solely on my one experience but hopefully they do better next time. A revolving menu which was interesting. My husband really loved the celery salad. I liked the bacon salad but would sub the flat leaf parsley with arugula or some bitter greens. The combination of pears and bacon was delicious. They couldn't do fries for the burger but the substitute salad was disappointing. The lettuce leaves weren't even cut, looked like left overs; random leaves were in there and some were wilted. It was obviously an afterthought. The burger was def not the best I've had and not the hype I expected. The fish was really good. Tasty and moist. Our server was also the bartender and it really felt like a two man operation. I hope they get the support they need cause I see the talent.

Pros: the menu is creative, cocktails were splendid, food is quite good. Cons: the service was ... okay. Server was good until dessert. We ordered, she was gone 20 minutes and then she told us they were out of it. Did not offer another dessert option and said “next time, the dessert is on me.” Yeah, right. I did like the place but the way she handled the dessert was a poor customer experience.

Sometimes it's tough to find parking on the street, but I've always managed to find something near the restaurant. Once inside it's small, but cozy. There is a nice ambiance, and the food is great! They have a good beer and liquor selection so you can find something to accommodate any taste. It's a little on the pricey side, but I still believe this a a great spot to check out for brunch or dinner.

Great atmosphere. Fantastic presentation. Food is good. $22 for whole fried chicken with pre-determined sides is very fair. Chicken had great flavor & was incredibly tender but the crust was mushy in a few places maybe due to sitting somewhere where it steamed a bit.

Food: The food was good but didn’t live up to the expectations we had for this restaurant. The absolute best bang for the buck is the chicken sandwich. It was also the most delicious dish we ate here. Service: We has the bartender serving us. It was fine. Not very friendly and he lingered till we made our decision. Atmosphere: love the atmosphere here. This place has a fantastic southern hunting lodge feel to it. Over all: This is my second time eating here. It’s been consistently ok.

If you want the best brunch in Atlanta then you have to go to the One Eared Stag. I would highly recommend the hot chicken with gravy and biscuits and the Dutch Baby Pancake. The burger is amazing as well. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They also have some great cocktails.

Simple, authentic menu with tasty, well seasoned food and unique items (found out what a redneck mimosa was...) The atmosphere a Sunday morning was a little bland and the service could be improved. Other than that, my wife's been trying to reproduce their crab scramble for a week now so our visit was totally worth it !

Decent lobster roll. Not the best in town. Little bit on the lean side, but very tasty. Perhaps oysters are better options here. Will find out next time.

Ray's on the River offers an intimate dining experience with stunning views of the Chattahoochee River in Sandy Springs, Atlanta. The restaurant serves elevated Southern seafood dishes and provides a scenic escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Guests can enjoy fresh oysters, New Orleans BBQ shrimp, and a variety of wines while taking in the picturesque surroundings. The outdoor patio is perfect for savoring gourmet bites from their extensive menu, making it a must-visit spot for outdoor dining enthusiasts.
My first visit here was with two good friends for a business dinner, and it couldn’t have been better. The restaurant is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The wine selection is outstanding, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. We ordered “family style” so we could share and taste more dishes together. The oysters were fresh and fantastic, and the steaks arrived exactly as we ordered them—perfectly cooked (something many restaurants often miss, but not here!). A truly memorable evening in every way. I’ll definitely be back!

We were celebrating my beautiful friend's birthday. The view from our table was breathtaking as you can see in the pictures. Our waiter was a very experienced older man who was very pleasant. He took very good care of us. We shared a calamari and the fish tacos. It all was so tasteful and done to perfection. I do wish though when they know it is a birthday that they would serve some sort of dessert to the birthday person. It was a delightful lunch.

Went to Ray’s to celebrate my birthday with my best friend and had an AMAZING TIME!!! 🎉 We arrived right at 5 and had no trouble finding free parking in the main lot. Our table was ready exactly at our reservation time, which was a great start. Our waitress, Britney, was so sweet and attentive! She gave us some great recommendations, and we decided on the Blackened Salmon and the Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain with creamed spinach and lobster mac & cheese. The food was absolutely delicious — the mac & cheese was just okay, but everything else was perfection. The property itself is beautiful! 🌿 The river and garden views make such a stunning backdrop for pictures, and everyone we encountered was super friendly. Overall, it was such a wonderful birthday dinner and an experience I’d happily recommend!

I mean it’s Ray’s what else do you need to know? If you ask me, they should be bestowed a cultural asset. I love that however busy they are, I still feel like I’m the only guest there and to me that’s what true customer service is about. Service is always 10/10.. food can be a miss sometimes but they’re always willing to make changes to make sure you have a great food experience so that’s not an issue. It’s a great spot for any occasion - date night, girls night, family hangout, etc. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Their wine collection is so dreamy!

My boyfriend and I visited Ray’s for our four year anniversary. We had calamari and rolls for our appetizers and the ribeye and filet mignon with lobster mac & Brussels for our entrees. All of it was delicious and although my boyfriend CJ’s steak wasn’t cooked to his liking, our server Tangie took it back to the kitchen for it to be cooked longer and then it was perfect. We really appreciated our server Tangie and the management team coming to check on us during service. We also received a complimentary anniversary dessert. Thanks everyone for a great experience!

From the moment we arrived at Rays on the River, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning — the soft lighting, the view of the river, and the warm, welcoming ambiance created the perfect backdrop for a memorable dinner. But what truly made the night exceptional was our server, Britney. She was an absolute star! From the very beginning, Britney greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel completely taken care of. Her attention to detail was impeccable — she anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask. She offered great recommendations for both food and wine, and every single one was spot on. Britney struck that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth — attentive without hovering, friendly without being overbearing. It’s rare to find someone who can make a fine-dining experience feel both elegant and personal, but she did it effortlessly. The food, of course, was outstanding — fresh seafood and great sides that were worth every bite. But it was Britney’s incredible service that elevated the evening from great to unforgettable. If you’re visiting Rays on the River, do yourself a favor and ask for Britney. She’ll make sure your night is nothing short of perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall, it was an exceptional experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary!♥️ we had reservations and was greeted and celebrated at the arrival of the restaurant. Location of our table was right by the river it was so romantic. We had calamari and shrimp, oysters, red fish and seafood platter with Brown cake. Everything was really tasty. The seafood platter was undercooked, however everything else excellent! Didn’t want to complain, took it home and remade it the next day. Wasn’t as good, I made the best out of it. Waitress & waiter were great!!

We came the wait to get to our table wasn’t very long. The inside of the restaurant looked AMAZING! Service was amazing too. I got the rainbow trout and shrimp it was just too good, I believe I also had gotten a watermelon juice. I’d rate my meal a 9/10! I definitely recommend it. Amazing meal for my first time in Georgia.

Celebrated my birthday here today. They were very accommodating and cautious with my son’s shellfish allergy. If you have a party of 4 or more I recommend making reservations at least a day in advance or be prepared to wait 2 hours or more.

The place is fun and festive. The service was good. The salsa was great. The beer was ice cold. I took the recommendations of the server. I had the fajitas, and did not regret it. It came with shrimp, steak, and chicken. The shrimp is bacon wrapped, and it was good. The chicken was excellent, moist and tender. The star of the show was that steak though. It absolutely crushed! I followed it up with the pecan ice cream desert, it was bland and unexciting. I should have gotten the tres leches.

We hosted a housewarming party and being gulf coast natives (Texas and Louisiana) we wanted to serve hot food that reminded us of home. We spoke with Gabby who really sounded like she was over the catering/large order department at the Windy Hill location. I'm being silly by saying that because she had personal knowledge about what we should order and how much. She was super friendly and helped us get everything ordered. Just as she promised our order was ready on time: Saturday at noon. We're so grateful for her help and the overall efficiency of this process. The food was a big hit and we have more than enough of leftovers.

My friends and I visited this location on yesterday for lunch just to catch up. Zoe was our waitress and she was very attentive and helpful, totally plus. We didn't have to ask for refills she was on top of it and provided excellent customer service. For an appetizer I had the crab and spinach dip it was sooooo delicious. One of my friends and I had the andouille sausage and rice and red beans, I had shrimp she had hers without the shrimp. She also had the strawberry margarita and she stated it was strong and hit the spot. My other friend he had the mardigras pasta. It was all delicious. Atmosphere was great we barely waited 5 minutes. I do suggest making reservations. We will definitely visit again.

Cafe
Bistro Niko is a bustling hot spot in Buckhead, offering classic French bistro fare in an elegant setting with warm lighting. The restaurant's interior features grand ceilings and Parisian artwork, creating a romantic atmosphere perfect for a dinner for two. On Sundays, guests can enjoy live jazz tunes during brunch while dining on favorites like mustard-crusted pork belly, French toast made with brioche, and quiche loaded with ham and Gruyere.
So French. So cute. I’m obsessed. This Buckhead cafe is like a little escape to Paris but we’re in Atlanta folks. I got the traditional tuna Niçoise salad, and I’m in love. Fresh, crisp, balanced and everything you want in a cafe lunch. I can’t get over the decor. Perfect spot to feel fancy without trying too hard. Tres chic. J’adore beaucoup.
Sara G — Google review
Food was very good and normally would be a 5 star but the Skate although good was just swimming in way too much butter. Same with the spinach on both plates, again too rich for our taste. The French onion soup was also very good but I have had better. Glad we went and I would recommend just know it is very richly loaded food
Dennis V — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re searching for authentic French dining in Atlanta, this restaurant is a true gem. The moment you sit outside under the red awnings, you’re transported to a Parisian café—elegant, inviting, and ideal for everything from a romantic date night to a leisurely lunch with friends. 🥗 The beet and goat cheese salad was stunning—roasted golden and red beets paired with creamy goat cheese and fresh microgreens. Light, refreshing, and beautifully presented. 🥐 The escargot with puff pastry is unforgettable. Baked in rich garlic-herb butter and topped with perfectly golden pastry rounds, it’s one of the best versions you’ll find in Atlanta. 🧅 The French onion soup is pure comfort food bliss: a deep, savory broth layered with caramelized onions and topped with bubbling Gruyère cheese. Absolutely perfect. ✨ Service was attentive, and the overall experience struck the right balance between upscale and welcoming. If you’re looking for the best French restaurant in Atlanta, this spot should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!

Haven’t been to Bistro Niko for quite some time now, since moving out of Buckhead more than 10 years ago. I was given a Buckhead Life Dining Card from a coworker and decided to take the family. We went on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was nice, our server Aaron took great care of us. His recommendations were spot on. The soft shell crab and Halibut specials were delicious. Aaron checked on us frequently and also recognized me as a fellow hospitality person! I appreciated the dessert selections and made our evening memorable.

Food: Lots of items to choose from in the menu but we finally decided what we were going to order. We got the trio cheese board, and they were all exquisite. The fig crackers were yummy too, sweet and crunchy. I also had the French onion soup which I enjoyed very much. I liked the flavor, and the amount of cheese on top. The bread sopped up the broth and was yummy. I had the beet salad, which was great. The vinaigrette was yummy and the beets were nice and crunchy. For my entree I had the salmon with golden quinoa and citrus vinaigrette. Wow 😮. The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was soft and fell apart very easily, it was not dry at all, and there were even crunchy bits with pockets of flavor. The golden quinoa with the vinaigrette was amazing. It went from citrusy to olive oily in a very smooth transition. Finally, for dessert I had the tarte au citron, the meringue was great with little charred bits, and the filling was tasty, not too tart and still sweet. I liked the sorbet, but it was very tart. It was super refreshing though! Service: We had a really great server, Tomika (I hope I spelled it right) who was helpful and kind. She was very talkative and made sure we were taken care of. Atmosphere: This was really adorable, I loved everything in it. From the music, to the calming lights, to the cute pictures. It was very spacious and it was cool to see the kitchen when you first walked in. The ceiling was cute too with all of the lights and everything. Overall: I had a great, relaxed time. It was a great way to spend my evening and would happily do it again.

The service was great. You can tell how they care by the way he was teaching a new server. We were a group of 8, and he made sure to listen to everyone's wants.I ordered an omelette, it was good and enough to share with someone (I didn't, it was too good). If I can suggest something, it would be another option besides regular milk (cream, half and half, or almond milk).I had to switch it for a Mimosa (I guess, I didn't want only water). I will be back.

Nice place. I can solidly recommend it if you are in Atl and like the look of the menu. We Had some minor issues with food but all was handled absolutely perfectly. The seats were in were shockingly loud for a not overly crowded restaurant, although I also wonder if our seat location played a part. The food was excellent. Only 4 stars because it is what I expect at the price point. Shared appetizers, drinks and main course wound up being just under $100 per head with tip.

She was so kind from hello. I really loved the touch of getting each others names. We had similar tastes, so everything she recommended I tried and LOVED. She checked my ID but didn’t say anything until I ordered desert and came out with a candle. It almost brought me to tears. I felt so seen and cared for. I WILL be back. Chops & Lobster Bar is an old-school chophouse in Atlanta that has been pleasing patrons for over two decades. The restaurant offers a unique two-in-one concept, with Chops featuring a classic dark-wood dining room and Lobster Bar offering an exclusive speakeasy experience downstairs. The menu includes USDA prime aged beef and fresh seafood, with must-try dishes like the A5 Miyazaki wagyu Kobe Japan filet and the famous steamed South African lobsters.
This place is on my top places to eat. My husband and I came here for our 10th anniversary celebration. Service is absolutely impeccable!! The staff is very well trained and are premier professionals. (Ask for Tarik) The manager was very friendly and personable. Would recommend this for any occasion. Every single thing we ate was phenomenal. If our bill was $400 or more we wouldn’t have cared, lol. Everything was delicious and try the octopus app, bread pudding, the Gouda Mac n cheese 🤤. Cannot wait to return!

Excellent fine ding experience. I took my daughter here for their birthday. The restaurant was dimly lit and had a nice ambiance. The hostess was friendly and the wait staff was great. I felt like I had my own personal waiter. The food was amazing. Had the crab cake appetizer and the lobster fritter. For my entree I had the black diamond ribeye with the lobster tail and broccolini. Lobster came fried but opted out for grilled. Rib eye temperature was perfect and it was seasoned to the bone. Lobster was dense and fresh tasting. It was pricey. My daughter and I ran up a $500 dollar bill for the two of us but it was worth it.

There are other fine dining restaurants in ATL and then there is Chops & Lobster Bar. The place looks like it commands order but I wasn’t here to play by the rules. I turned this fine steakhouse into my own personal tapas restaurant because I like to try it all. We started with a Greek salad, then came the octopus, then the fried lobster. And yes, I ordered the mac & cheese because I’m 7. Oh and the no filler brilliant crab cakes. Chops may be for the serious steak crowd, but we got it on track! It’s now headed in the right direction.

We have celebrated so many milestones at Chops Lobster Bar birthdays, anniversaries, you name it and every single time has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment you walk through the door, you sense this is a place where special moments belong. The food is extraordinary. On multiple occasions, I’ve ordered the wagyu steak and lobster (medium well), and each time it was cooked to perfection rich, tender, flavorful, beautifully presented. The seafood is flown in fresh, the cuts of beef are exceptional, and the menu strikes the perfect balance between elegance and indulgence. The service is exquisite. The team is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making your experience memorable. One particularly touching moment: for our anniversary, I had flowers delivered ahead of time. The restaurant held them and then arranged to have them brought to our table while we were dining. That sort of personal touch made the evening even more special. Parking is convenient thanks to valet service right out front. While I prefer to rely on the valet to avoid the hassle, you can also find your way via Google Maps it guides you directly to their address in Buckhead. In short: Chops Lobster Bar remains my go-to for celebrating life’s milestones. Whether it’s an anniversary or a birthday, the ambiance, the food, the attention to detail everything comes together perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly memorable fine-dining experience.

Everything was good. I had a grilled and fried lobster tail with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Also, I had a crab cake for an appetizer. It appears that everyone who has dined here has had mixed experiences. In truth (also because I am one of Google’s top 10% food reviewers), I had a very pleasant experience. Courtney was an awesome server and very attentive despite me being on a date with myself. I ordered the seafood pasta and it was fantastic. The portion was great as was the mix of ingredients. If I really had to nitpick I wish the shrimp and scallops were larger in size. I would definitely consider returning!

Devon was our server and he made the experience special. I was there during a convention and the place was very busy. The calamari was very good. I won’t judge my entree because it was busy and they were doing the best they could. The creme brûlée was simple and yummy. I love custard so creme brûlée will always bring me joy! They brought it out for my birthday! I would definitely revisit to experience the food without the rush. We had one in orlando so I know the food is great! Kudos to Devon for making it a great experience and being so attentive to all of his table despite it being hectic.

Kyma is a vibrant Greek/Mediterranean seafood restaurant with a relaxed and family-friendly ambiance. The bright and bold decor, including rounded marble columns, creates an airy dining space that transports guests to the Greek Isles. The menu features creative Mediterranean cuisine and fresh seafood, such as whole fish entrees like pink snapper and arctic char grilled over an open fire with olive oil, lemon, or oregano basting.
Our first time to this restaurant and we have nothing but positive things to say! The food was absolutely amazing and unique. Our waiter, Marko did an excellent job taking care of us. He was very attentive to our questions, knowledgable of the menu options, and he had a good sense of humor. We absolutely loved our experience. From beginning to end the presentation of each dish was beautiful and the flavors were unbelievable. The Kitchen staff (even though we did not see you or meet you) were the magic behind the scenes - making our dishes perfect. The rest we will save. Kyma is full of surprises! If you are in town, please take the pleasure to enjoy this experience!
Michele B — Google review
Kyma is a beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere and high quality food. We splurged and got the Santorini dinner plan. It was delicious and lots of food for two. My only complaint was that server was a bit inattentive as the restaurant got busier and I don’t think they should bring a credit card reader to the table in such a fine restaurant and the server pushes the tip recommendations in your face only suggesting 22-26%. I felt that was too high for the level of service and attention. The US is so bad at that:-) Other than that-Kyma provided a nice dining experience.
Yoli — Google review
Comforting staple for Greek seafood that been around for as long as I’ve been in ATL. And the food is great! I had the snapper ratatouille from the specialty menu. Highly recommend it, the fish was light, and the ratatouille added some tartness and acidity. We did the dessert sampler as the end cap. Service and pacing was great. Definitely a must go to!

First time but everything we ordered was delicious! Valet parking was available and we had a reservation so did not have to wait. Staff was very attentive and helpful when deciding was to order.
Betzy — Google review
One word: WOW. This might actually be Atlanta's best seafood. I hadn't been to Kyma in many, many years--not for any reason other than it just doesn't come to mind (hello, marketing opportunity). But I've eaten here at least a dozen times over the last 10 years and always had a fantastic experience. This latest one? Truly next-level... and I happened to have dined a St Cecilia two days prior, very well known for best seafood, but I felt Kyma quality ran circles around it Space: Don't judge Kyma by its dated exterior or slightly tacky Greek décor--the food is some of the absolute best in Atlanta. Honestly, if the restaurant group invested in a fresh exterior sign and a little paint, I'd bet the return in increased traffic would pay for itself many times over. Valet: $3--don't forget to bring cash for a tip. Food: * The guys did the tasting menu for two ($160pp)--well worth the price point and every single dish was spectacular. Standouts: Veal Sweetbreads, dorade "tsipoura", & lobster wedding rice. I also loved the calamari ribbons * The girls ordered a spread of apps, and honestly, every bite was 10/10. (*favorites) * *Ceviche, Scallops, Octopus * Crab Cake, Eggplant, Watermelon Salad, Brussels Only complaint: dish pacing. We were there for about 4 hours, and the gaps between tasting menu courses were a bit too long. Would love to see the kitchen tighten up the cadence and for servers to check in if delays are expected.

Prior to the main course, we had pikilia spread (humus etc, ok, had better spreads in multiple places), beet and tomato salads both were good. We were recommended a bottle of Santo Assyrtiko which paired well with lavraki. However, it was $100/bottle and luckily bottles were off 50%. It certainly was not worth more than $60-70 at a restaurant (retails <$30. ) Watch out for their wine prices. Our service Delaney was trully excellent.

Came here during Buckhead Restaurant Week and had a wonderful experience. While the prawns saganaki and salmon entrees are decent, the appetizers are definitely the highlights. Didn’t have a lot of expectations for the spreads but wow… they were super tasty. The octopus was also cooked perfectly while the watermelon salad with watermelon sorbet was creative and refreshing. Wish I tried this spot sooner as it’s been on my list for many years, and so glad I did!

Maaaaannn look a here. That food was bomb. My wife and I came here for our Valentines Day dinner and they showed up and showed out. The best thing about our experience besides the bomb, shrimp and grits plus my wife’s Surf and Turf was our server Jayla. She made our first time visiting here a time to remember. Thank you Jayla, thank you for the chef and thank you staff for everything.

We celebrate our first wedding anniversary and the food was delicious. Our waiter Dillon was a huge help and amazing for recommendations as it was our first time. I have a dairy allergy and he made sure my order was prepared accordingly. We were sad to hear the restaurant will be closing as we really enjoyed the food and service.

Food was great. Drinks were top tier and the service was prompt, genuine and engaging. My wife and I went for our anniversary weekend. Rob took great care of us and the staff is very friendly! Would highly recommend!

Today I married my best friend & the love of my life 28 years ago. Our daughter wined & dined us the entire day. We finished the evening off at Oceanaire. We were greeted by Ashley with a smile & personalized menu that had the date as well as “Happy 28th Anniversary”, Kevin was the best server and was very knowledgeable of the menu which allowed us to make the right choices based on our preferences. Sean, the manager made sure we had an awesome experience and was very attentive to the table. We highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass with the Crab Louis, Crab Cake, Surf & Turf and Baked Alaska for Desert.

Not sure why they don't validate for parking since construction is going on. It's so much more complicated to get here now, no valet anyone in our large party could find, and you're going to take away that benefit so everyone pays an extra $16? Update your website or somewhere to reflect that change. For a party of 20 that's an extra $320. Food was same as ever & key lime pie was delicious. No coffee was offered after the meal. Service was minimally attentive as the night wore on & they rushed to get us out of there once it got to 9pm though there were still several other large parties in the restaurant seemingly at ease conversing after dinner.

Our waitress, Maddie, was absolutely phenomenal. She made our anniversary dinner extremely special for us. The food was served quickly and was hot. It all tasted delicious. The bartender made me a special cocktail based on the ingredients and it was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect and we will definitely be back for another future celebration.

Had a superb experience here. Our waitress was amazing and so accommodating. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course. Only thing we didn’t enjoy was the scallops. They were not fresh and tasted weird. The complimentary birthday dessert was so to die for.
Kay K — Google review
The atmosphere was beautiful and lowly lit. I gave the service 4 stars because although our server was great and he was well versed on the menu, we noticed that he was sniffling a bit as if he was sick. Anyone would be paranoid if someone dealing with your food has a cold. Other than that, everyone was nice and polite. The food was delicious. The Ceasar salad was chopped perfectly and there was a nice amount of dressing which had a nice tang! For appetizers, we ordered calamari and rockerfeller oysters, which were both tasty. The sauce that came with the calamari was supposed to be a jalepeno tarter sauce, but we tasted more mayonnaise than the other ingredients, so we weren't crazy about that. For entrees we ordered: the lobster and crab cakes, red fish, lobster mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. The food isn't seasoned heavy, but it was just fine for me. The sides were considered table portions. The mac and cheese was a great portion, but the mashed potatoes didn't seem to be table sharing size. We ordered alcohol beverages and they were very good. I will be returning to the oceanaire to try other dishes and recommend it to everyone.

Steak house
French restaurant
Marcel is an elegant venue in Atlanta's Westside Provisions District that pays homage to the beefsteak dinner culture of the early 1900s. The restaurant offers a throwback American steakhouse experience with custom china and fancy chandeliers, creating a romantic atmosphere perfect for special occasions. Couples often choose Marcel for anniversary celebrations, enjoying tableside preparations like the baked Alaska.
What a fantastic dining experience at Marcel! The ambiance was upscale yet incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect backdrop for our meal. We enjoyed every bite, from the exquisite dishes to the delectable dessert that left us craving more! A special shoutout to the attentive staff who made our visit even more enjoyable!

Dining at Marcel’s was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The crab was impeccably fresh and refined in flavor, the steak was expertly prepared to perfection, and the drinks were both elegant and well-crafted. The atmosphere exudes sophistication, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. Marcel’s is the kind of place that turns a dinner into a true occasion — a flawless blend of fine cuisine, impeccable service, and timeless ambiance.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago. The decor inside is incredible, we loved all the vintage boxing/fencing decor and the ambient lighting. We sat at the bar while we waited for our reservation and had a delicious dirty martini and espresso martini. They presented us at our table with a stamped “happy birthday” menu which I thought was such a thoughtful touch! Our appetizer of Caesar salad (prepared by our server) and shrimp cocktail was amazing and the bread service was unique and delicious. For dinner my boyfriend had a filet and I had the lobster risotto with scallops added. We had to save some room for dessert, which was crème brûlée and baked Alaska which is set aflame at the table. Everything was delicious!! Our serving team was Yancy and Kenn and they both did a great job taking care of us. Kenn even offered us some great recommendations for the rest of our trip, which we ended up actually doing and it really was the cherry on top of our visit. We can’t wait to come back to Marcel next time we are in Atlanta.

I’ve been to Marcel a few times. Service was incredible and every single dish we received was amazing. The servers did a fantastic job coursing our meal out so we didn’t feel rushed. Atmosphere, food, drinks, & service were all 10/10. One of the best dinners Ive had. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience. Old school DINING in the best possible way. A really cool “steakhouse” vibe with some subtle eclectic touches. Attentive and friendly staff that was in no way overbearing (thanks again for a wonderful evening, Yancey and Bryce). Best of all, though, was the food. Starting with the phenomenal bread service and ending with the delight of their interpretation of a Baked Alaska (think chocolate chip cookie sundae meets s'more's), every dish was fantastic. We had heard so many wonderful things that we went “all in” for the Beef Wellington, and I am so glad that we did. Yet we watched dishes come out of the kitchen all night that made us “oooo and ahhhh.” We look forward to coming back to try as many of them as we can in the years to come.

From start to finish, our experience was absolutely unforgettable! Sonny was one of the best servers I’ve ever had — truly a menu expert who guided us through every detail with passion and confidence. His hospitality was genuine, attentive, and made the entire evening feel special. Amelia was equally amazing, ensuring every moment was seamless and magical. The food was phenomenal — both the filet and ribeye were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the desserts? The baked Alaska and 10-layer chocolate cake were pure perfection. Every detail, from service to presentation, was executed flawlessly. Thank you to Sonny and Amelia for creating one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had in Atlanta!

Amazing date night at Marcel. First thing to notice when you walk in the door is the atmosphere: very eclectic 1920s steakhouse. Very high-end with themes of leather and dark colors abound. My girlfriend and I were wowed with the charm and atmosphere. Xavier was our lead server, with Murphy as our secondary. Simply amazing! Xavier will take you on a culinary adventure of the menu and Murphy is there to back him up. Truly was no wrong way to go about the menu! First we ordered drinks. I got Hemingway in Paris, which was boozy, but delicious. My girlfriend got the Marcel 75 Rosé, which was very soft and delicious. When we ordered, Xavier suggested a perfect way to split up our meal: First bread service, second escargot, third Ceaser salad, fourth the Wellington (we ordered 24 hours in advanced), and finally dessert. First course, the bread service was delicious. The foccocia was light and yummy. My girlfriend and I have dined at Little Sparrow, one of Ford Fry's other restaurants a couple times before, and believe they have a better bread, but the foccocia was not a disappointment, the prosciutto and ricotta were delicious as supplements. Second course, the escargot was simply delightful! Murphy told us that it is the only appetizer that has never been sent back. It was definitely amazing! Highly, highly recommend! The fried sourdough, the escargot, and the buttery sauce is to die for! Third course was the Ceaser. The Ceaser was delicious! The cheese ratio was amazing and the croutons were to die for. Wish it had been a slight touch colder, but it was delicious. Fourth course, was the Beef Wellington. Based on recommendations we ordered 24 hours in advanced, with the pommes dauphinoise. I can't speak French, but my girlfriend and Xavier can, and made sure not to make fun of me for it. Xavier has the most interesting back story of how he learned French, and I suggest you learn more about him! The Wellington was served in two stages. The uncut Wellington was presented to us at our table and explained that it would be cut and returned. Then, it was returned and plated, with a delicious sauce. The Pommes arrived in a steel pan later on absolutely hot. The Wellington was incredible and the Pommes were a great side dish. Highly recommend. Fifth course we ordered the baked Alaska. It was a show that was delicious but left something to be asked. It was a chocolate chip cookie flavored baked Alaska, that cooked beautifully in the rum! But was a bit boozy and still a little hard for our taste, as it needed to be just a little softer. All in all 9.5/10 expirience. Wait staff was amazing and knowledgeable, with never an empty glass. The food was amazing with the exception of the bread service leaving something to be asked and the baked Alaska needing just a bit more warming up. We will definitely be back to Marcel in the future. Huge shout out to Xavier and Murphy for making the expirience incredible! PS. Gentlemen, stop by the men's bathroom for a bit of an interesting experience!

We had one night in Atlanta and I asked a few people where was the best place for dinner; unanimous “Marcel”. This lived up to the hype and more. The manager immediately greeted us, Jimmy, and he was so kind. The vibe inside is moody, intimate and trendy with a French/American gentleman’s steakhouse vibe. They have a row of 1/2 booth tables near the bar to have a cocktail while waiting for your reservation that’s cozy and a perfect transition into dinner. We were lucky enough to get a cozy booth on the front wall so we could enjoy the environment of all the amazing waitstaff and other diners. Our served Mark (he is the best, ask for him!) filled us in on the history of the restaurant as well as notes on the menu. We came hungry but since it was just the two of us we couldn’t quite order all the items I wanted to try. They start with a really interesting bread service; a pan fried homemade focaccia w/ speck, whipped ricotta and olives. Heavy for a bread round, but a really nice amuse bouche and proof of the chefs skills. Their daily oyster selection was phenomenal, so I started with 1/2 a dozen of those and the cocktail, hot sauce and mignonette were all homemade. Exceptionally clean, chilled and tasty oysters! We shared the dining room prepared Caesar salad which was phenomenal; 1 was plenty to share if you’re having a lot of courses. Mark said the other salad (market I think) had 21 ingredients and was the star of the show, but I’m not a bacon girl, so we had the Caesar! We moved on to the mains: a filet (wood fired and then finished in a pan with brown butter - are u drooling? I am just remembering!). For sides we did the potatoes dauphinoise and the cacio e Pepe. Both large and delectable. The sauces were so fresh, homemade and rich in the best way. Along this culinary journey we had some spectacular cocktails and for our steak Mark gave us a few wine samples so we appropriately pair some red wine with our steak. The Cab and the Bordeaux blend were perfection. We were honestly so full after dinner, but Mark said my magic dessert words “butter cake”. It was a raspberry butter cake with a lemon raspberry crumble, vanilla anglaise and vanilla ice cream. My bf also got to try the 10 layer chocolate cake with layers of light chocolate mousse. I quote “the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had”. So there you have it. Definitely make the reservation and check out Marcels. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience, and a top notch one at that.

Sweet Auburn Seafood is a popular and modern choice for Southern-style seafood dishes, offering a charming and cozy dining experience. With a 32-year-old legacy, this restaurant serves rich and decadent appetizers alongside perfectly executed seafood main courses. Located on Cheshire Bridge, it's known for its contemporary American-style seafood with dishes like Louisiana shrimp remoulade, crabmeat Vidalia, scallops, salmon, and their signature snapper dish.
What a gem of a place. Authentic southern food with a slight Caribbean flair. We were a group of 6 on a Friday night, but there was no wait for a table. We got the wings as an app and good God were they amazing. I am fairly certain these are the best dry rub wings I've had in my life. Followed it up with the jambalaya, which was extremely filling. Took about half of it to go because portion sizes were so generous. Cocktails were decent, I had the Mule.

I've been here before for brunch, but food time we went for dinner. They had a DJ there playing music that evening. The song selections were great. They ran a special on their specialty drinks. Buy 1 and get 2 clusters of crab legs for$10. This was a great deal to me. Their clusters were huge and very filling. The servers were nice, drinks were banging, food was good, music set the tone for the night clean restrooms... it was great. I will definitely be back. A group of 9 of us had lunch today. We were seated immediately. Nice ambiance on the inside but it is on Auburn Ave and there may be some characters outside. Our waiter Mark Pinto was excellent. This was the first visit for most of us and he patiently described the more popular dishes. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. The portion was generous. I had leftovers. Others in my group ordered the seafood burger and salmon burger. Everyone was please and we will be back to try other dishes. Try to get Pinto as your waiter, he will take good care of you.

We went on a Friday early and it was not busy, however, they did get crowded later on. They had live music which is nice. The fried shrimp and grits was the highlight of the meal. The fried snapper really needed more seasoning, best to try grilled instead. The calamari was good, but not a big serving. The drink prices are too high ($13 for Jamieson and coke). The staff was nice. They have valet parking for $10, which I recommend, because the area is not so great.

First time experience. I will definitely return and soon. From the time I arrived until our departure excellent service. The food was so delish, I can remember whether I snapped a pic, lol. I had the salmon, garlic spinach and roasted potatoes! Meet a close friend for dinner on Wednesday. Awesome experience coupled with a free dessert from the owner!?!

I've always loved the ambiance and I used to really enjoy the food here, but not so much anymore. Our appetizers were good.... shrimp and fried rice and bang bang shrimp. Our main selections were either too spicy or had little or no seasoning whatsoever. My husband had the shrimp and grits and I had the crab cakes w/ sweet potatoes (or yams). The crab cakes were okay, nothing special---yams tasted like they were not ripe; definitely shouldn't have been cooked. The grits were bland, shrimp was good tho. I'll give them another try, but probably not until next year. It's not a cheap date, so I'll wait awhile before giving them another chance. With tip, the cost a little over 100 bucks. Forgot to take pics of the entrees.... sorry.

Service was fast and friendly. We arrived early for brunch and all ordered food we enjoyed. Mimosas were also tasty. The price for bottomless mimosas was also fair, though it costs extra for certain flavors. But the fact that they had so many flavors to begin with was awesome to me as I’m not the biggest fan of standard orange.

If you’re debating whether to come here or not, go!! Our whole experience here was so pleasant from the service to the food itself , we were impressed at our ability to polish of a 3 person platter and a 1 person platter. The snow crab was so fresh and sweet that it didn’t even need butter. Everything was phenomenal This place healed me 10\10 will come here every time I’m in Atlanta ! Looking forward to next time🥲

Really fast service! Ordered a make-your-own-platter to share plus hush puppies and Cajun fries to start. The hush puppies and fries were both super crispy and well seasoned. Crawfish were a little on the small side but everything else was generous and their seasoning and sauce was so good! We asked for medium spicy and felt like there was not much heat to it so ask for more heat if you want it to be spicy.

Not a lot of seating. The service was great, but the food was mediocre. Note there is no public restroom. We won't be returning.

Please do not go here. This place will take advantage of you. I got the Sampler 12 fried oysters and 12 French fries, the cost was 28.00. It’s supposed to be Market Price, but they market price must be a %60 markup. I even tipped thinking it would be worth it. Food overly salty. This place is awful and should be shut down. Pic below of the 28.00 plate. Awful!

Went there today with co-workers we spent around $250 total & maybe 10% of it was the fried platters was over cooked severely red snapper, shrimp & gator tail. The service was good it took a long time for the food to come which made us think it's going to be good but that wasn't the case. Idk if they rushed it or that's just the normal. 2stars at best & that's being generous.

Beware, great website but major disappointment! We were going to eat in, but the place was stuffy and hot (it was August), little IAC. We ordered the Cajun Seafood Combo, menu said fresh when “in season” but I guess in their book it’s never in season. Way too much crawfish (musta been cheap and in the freezer since 1995). Crab was sparse and difficult to get out of the shell. Sausage tasted like Eckrich from Publix-def not andouille. Shrimp was tiny and hard to get out of the peel. We had the meal for 2 for $86 and there were 2 tiny pieces of corn. This place is a scam, food was barely edible, their last inspection was an 80. Go some where else on Buford Hwy, there’s lots of great places!!
Michaell B — Google review
I’ve never eaten here before, and when I saw it on GrubHub I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Whole Andouille Sausage Po’ Boy with a side of Mac & Cheese Poppers (substitute for an additional charge) and a 20oz Coke. Order arrived before original ETA, complete and packaged well for delivery. The sausage was cooked perfectly, the roll was toasted very well, with a slight crisp on the outside, yet fresh and chewy on the inside. Lettuce, tomato and pickle topped it off well. Very tasty sandwich indeed. I’ve actually never eaten Mac & Cheese Poppers before. Didn’t realize what I was missing. These poppers (5 of them), were fantastic. Overall I was really impressed with everything. I normally don’t read the restaurant reviews until I’ve tried the food so I can be unbiased going in, and I was quite happy with my experience. That was delicious and I’d have no qualms about ordering it again.
Jim — Google review
My fried shrimp was delicious. Cajun corn is seriously hot. The fried crawfish had more breading than I'm used to at other places and was overly fried. Cajun corn was too spicy for me to even try to eat. Be prepared that the fried pickles are spears. I like innovation but it didn't work well here - they lost the pickle flavor. I actually thought they were fried green beans instead. {See photo} I think my mistake was in ordering fried food instead of boiled, and getting take out instead of dining in. Seems like a fun place to come with family. Last comment - noticed after I ordered that their sanitation grade is an 81. I'm not sure why but I find that worrisome, especially with seafood. I still ate my meal and didn't get sick.

Bar Margot is a chic and sophisticated dining spot located on the mezzanine level of the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. The venue offers a refined selection of New American cuisine and signature cocktails in an elegant setting adorned with blue tufted armchairs and round red-accented booths. The menu features creative bites, dinner entrees, and top-notch beverages crafted by expert bartenders. On weekends, guests can enjoy music spun by a DJ from an extensive vinyl library.
Nice cozy bar/restaurant/lounge located inside Four Seasons Hotel. Price is on the expensive side, but that's expected in such places. The food was plenty and delicious. The drinks were also excellent. The attention top notch. When it's very busy you have to wait a little while to be seated.

We just visited Bar Margot for the first time and had a great experience with Olivia, our server. We visited between lunch and dinner service, so it was quiet and we had a chance to get to know everyone. Olivia was such an excellent guide through the menus, friendly and knowledgeable and not afraid to make recommendations (that ended up being great). She’s a great example of the kind of top tier customer service that we’ve come to expect from the Four Seasons, and we really appreciated the whole experience! We had the chips & dip, the french onion soup, the deviled eggs, and chicken wings. Each item was on point.

The establishment offers a visually pleasing ambiance and delectable cuisine, warranting a return visit. Upon my subsequent visit, I had the pleasure of sampling the lunch menu and was particularly impressed with the oyster mushroom sandwich. The combination of flavors and the perfectly crisp bread edges created an exceptional culinary experience. I found the sandwich so remarkable that I ordered a second one to savor later.🤤💜

I came here as a place to chill/relax with a mutual friend. I never heard of Bar Margot but he suggested. I expected it to be a Dive Bar. I was immediately surprised by the unexpected atmostphere. It serves as a great place to catch a few drinks and enjoy the vibe. I will be quite honest, I personally was not a fan of how dark and loud it was. More than expected, but not a deal breaker. The service and wait staff were great. They did take a bit longer than normal but maybe because there was lots of people. Drinks were pretty standard too. I don't have much compaints, it is a great and staple spot. Only flaw is this kind of place can be found anywhere. Not a complaint, but that is stopping it from being on the top of my list. Overall, I think is a great place. 8/10 and would come here again. I just prefer more uniqueness/personality.

I stopped in between events and it was all that and then some! The energy there was something else. All the decor was on point and I just adore the vibes. The concierge took my name and immediately seated me. They didn’t waste any time taking my order. I love some good Brussels Sprouts. When I saw it on the menu I was curious. Could they be as good as others? My server assured me that they were the BEST! He was not lying! I didn’t know I could love this dish any more than I did. But I do! Flavorful, crispy and just enough for a serving. Loved it! I then asked what the best dessert was. He said the peach en croque. I had the bread pudding in mind but so thankful I picked this dessert. It gets kind of messy but it’s absolutely worth it. The buttery flakey top blends well with the warm peachy center. Loved it as well. This was my first time back in the city after some time. There is no way I’m waiting this long to come back! #ashsaidit

The food and drinks are great! Service depends on the waiter but out of two waiters 1 was super attentive and the other was mildly attentive—still not bad. This is a hit in the evening when you want food that tastes good alongside classic cocktails. Pricey but not overpriced.

Guests can indulge in mouthwatering options like multi-layered nachos and Mussels a la Diabla.
Overall, 1000/10 recommend. I really wish the brunch menu was longer because the food was 1000/10. I got their honey hot lemon pepper wings (THAT CAME WITH ELOTE), steak and eggs, and brisket potato breakfast bowl. This restaurant has a great chilled vibe. The food was good and they had good customer service. The one thing I didn’t like was that the parking was the only thing that I didn’t like because they only do valet parking according to the young man outside. Also, he stated that he only gets paid off of tips and then he said it cost $2 to park my car. He also had an attitude because I didn’t want to give my $2 to him. Went there one Sunday for BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS!!! They were great n strong, the server was on time keeping them rolling! Every time I was getting low, he came to refill! I had a breakfast burrito that was satisfying; should’ve ordered a side or something else with it. Also had shrimp n grits with my friend & that definitely was amazing! I’d say they just gotta keep an eye on the bathroom floors; they were kindve wet in there. Don’t want anyone to slip.

I really like the outside area, the food was good. Mimosas were a little weak and we barely saw our waiter. Not her fault, they clearly just didn’t have enough servers.

Had dinner at this place on weekday. The place wasn’t crowded which was good. The ambiance was okay and our server was very nice. She answered all our questions. The 2 ⭐️ deduction is for dirty booth seats we got. It had food crumbs on the seat which we cleaned ourselves and didn’t bother anyone cuz it wasn’t a lot but still there it was. We had steak bowls and food was just okay.

Bon Ton is a vibrant spot in Midtown that offers a unique fusion of Louisiana and Vietnamese cuisine. The menu features classic Louisiana seafood dishes with a Vietnamese twist, such as smoked snow crab, charbroiled crab claws, Cajun shrimp burger, and banh mi with fried shrimp or blackened catfish. In addition to raw oysters and refreshing salads, the restaurant also serves creative cocktails like the Bon Ton Hurricane and Frozen Vietnamese Irish coffee.
It's not the prettiest place, but who cares when the food is amazing. My husband and I went for date night. That smoked crab is AMAZING!!!! It was a little more spicy from when I came before but the seasoning was like no other. And what type of seasoning do they put in that butter to dip the crab in. So very tasty. I would go back just for that. And the simple side salad... THE BEST I've ever had. This was my 3rd time with a 1 hour drive and it was totally worth it. Bring back the blue colored margaritas. I ordered the Bon Ton hurricane and It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. We will be back for sure. I made reservations for 6:15pm on a Saturday with no problem. We did not have to wait.

We only had oysters here and they were so lackluster we decided not to proceed with any other food. We may retry at a later date but the oysters didnt feel broiled long enough and were very blaise. The customer service was fine and it seems like a fun place.

I had the best experience at Bonton! I love the atmosphere and the ambiance. It’s not to loud either. Food comes out fast. I absolutely love the outside seating area as well. I had the pleasure to eat the Oysters, Heartstop fried fest, smoked crab legs.

I was there for an event in the upstairs space and had an excellent time so I don’t remember much besides well-shucked oysters and thoughtful service. One note for if you’ve never been. The sink upstairs may confuse you. Just pull the middle…. I’m glad I used my brain instead of brawn lol cuz it looked expensive. Kitchen’s prices were reasonable and thankfully they have a baseline gratuity fee so you don’t have to struggle with math at the end of the night. My highlight….. best martini I’ve had in quite some time. Thanks, K!

Bon Ton was a great surprise. The vibe, the music, very reasonably priced drinks and best for last - the food. Stunning. Best seafood boil I’ve had in a long time.

An okay seafood boil restaurant in Midtown ATL. We were disappointed since I read a lot of good reviews and we are used to so much better quality and quantity. Service was good since we got there when it opened up and we decided to sit inside even though it was a nice summer day.

I discovered a METAL SCREW in my fried catfish upon chewing and trying to swallow my food. The screw was cooked into the food making it undetectable to the eye. I scratched my tongue and the inside of my mouth trying to chew and swallow the food as I thought it was a crispy part of the catfish. This was terribly alarming. I immediately returned to the restaurant and calmly asked to speak with the GM or owner. The GM took my name and contact information and assured me that the owner would be in touch with me on Friday, June 20th. Out of respect, I waited for a call or email… It is now Saturday, June 21st 1:20 pm, and I still have not been contacted, even after sending an email this morning, June 21st, at 9:00am. The lack of accountability and acknowledgement for my suffering is disappointing. That silence reads loud and clear that this restaurant DOES NOT care. Frankly, it’s unacceptable. It signals a failure in leadership and a disregard for guests' SAFETY and well-being. When I brought this issue to the GM’s attention in person, her response was not only dismissive but also troubling. She stated, “It’s 10pm—what do you want me to do?” Unfortunately, a life-threatening incident doesn’t work on a schedule! If that screw had been swallowed or caused internal harm, a simple apology or refund would not have sufficed, and honestly, with trauma it has caused, still doesn’t. Even more disturbing was her admission that she wouldn’t even be able to explain the issue to the cook because he doesn’t speak English. That tells me two things: 1.) She couldn’t possibly communicate the gravity of the situation to him. 2.) There is no way for him to explain how something this irresponsible happened. That is a serious breakdown in SAFETY, communication, and accountability in your kitchen. Please note that my interaction with the staff was recorded. I wanted to give the owner(s) the opportunity to address this directly before escalating to the next steps. Hopefully, BON TON will take this seriously and respond with the urgency and professionalism this situation warrants and PUT CUSTOMER SAFETY FIRST!

AMAZING!! The food is okay, or what I had was ok. We had the gumbo and the shrimp boil to eat. The gumbo didn't have a lot of flavor but I'm thinking it's because the sausage was cut in small pieces and didn't have a lot of shrimp. The boil was under seasoned, but I still ate it because I was hungry. The drinks and bartenders are AMAZING!! This is a place you have to go and have drinks!!! I can't say enough, all I can say is taste for yourself!! It's an amazing place. Great vibe!! Very nice people!!

5 stars all across the board. Was visiting the area, & friends brought us here for R&B Wednesday, and the music did not disappoint. The food did not disappoint either! Drinks were great too. That sweet potato corn muffin is a must try. The waiter was also attentive, and friendly. Definitely coming back next time I come to ATL.

This was my first time dining at Baltimore Crab & Seafood, and wow — it will NOT be my last! My sisters and I came to celebrate our birthdays, and we actually found this gem on Google. From the very first greeting to receiving the check, it was truly a 5-star experience. We were seated right away, and our waitress, Jada, greeted us with water and the warmest smile. She was so pleasant and even recommended some of her favorite dishes. Honestly though, the moment I saw the menu, everything looked top tier — it was hard to choose! I ended up ordering the Cajun Pasta Alfredo with broiled salmon, yams, salmon sliders, and the sweet potato corn muffin (we even ordered a second round of those muffins — they were THAT good). My sisters enjoyed the seafood bucket, turkey wings with rice, and the kale & turkey side. Every single bite was hot, fresh, and seasoned to absolute perfection — the cooks did NOT miss! If I could give the food a 10,000/10, I would. The atmosphere made it even better — great vibes, live R&B music (it was R&B Wednesday!), and just an all-around welcoming energy. Jada even shared a few partner restaurants we should check out, which was such a nice touch. This was hands down the highlight of my week. I’m already planning my next visit… and the one after that!

We (party of 2) had a bit of a wait when we arrived, and it wasn't packed out at all. Once we got seated, Peyton was fast, precise, and pleasing! The appearance is very lavish and classy minus the ladies' bathroom with the holes in the walls. The sweet potatoe corn muffin and kale greens were soooo AMAZINGLY delicious 😋 I went back for seconds 🤤🤤 The honey saracha chicken wings were good, and sauce is everything! The cajuan pasta w salmon was good, just a little bit creamer than I expected. The spinach could have been cooked down just a little more. I enjoyed the face that the salmon had a crispy crunchy sear to it while still being juicy on the inside. I will definitely try them again, I want to see what the crabcake and lobster fried rice 🤤. May even try out their sister locations as well. The videos were giving MAJOR VIBEZ

Baltimore Crab & Seafood in Atlanta is a must-visit! The vibe is lively, the service was excellent, and the food absolutely delivered. We started with the crab legs appetizer—fresh and flavorful—then had the fried chicken and lobster tail, which were both perfectly cooked. The sides were just as impressive, especially the greens with smoked turkey and the standout fried rice loaded with shrimp and lobster meat. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving a memorable seafood and soul food experience!

Food & service were great! I’d eat here again. My only complaint is that the Mac & cheese was too cheesy for me. The drinks, well, they had alcohol in them! Not watered down like some restaurants.

I remember this spot when it was in Philly. The food was good then and even though they moved to ATL the food still on point. It's the Atl vibe wit our Philly swag. Everything on the menu is fire and the Bartenders have you right. If you come you definitely have to try the mussels and the Banana Pudding. If you from the City and you come to Atl you have to come through and support I always do every time I'm town and never disappointed!!!

I want to thank my waitress, Ms. Winter, for the excellent service she provided yesterday, Monday, May 26, 2025. It was my granddaughter’s 11th birthday, and Ms. Winter went above and beyond to make sure it was special. She gave her cheesecake and sang "Happy Birthday." She even apologized for the kids who ran out without paying, as they were in the booth across from my family’s table. She didn’t need to apologize; it wasn’t her fault. The manager never came out to check if the staff or customers were okay. You need security in your restaurant—your employees’ and customers’ safety should be a priority.

I gave my youngest son two graduation dinners one here and one at Old Gang. Listen, or should I say read. I am not a fan of small dine-in restaurants. I’ve been here 2 or 3 times. Food was good and fresh. I just don’t like the size and twisting and turning to get out of your chair to go to the restroom. We did have a huge party for my son’s graduation party. But it is still compact.

Walked in to a sign that a server/host would not be sitting at the front, so we attempted to ask a free server (she was literally standing in front of a freshly cleaned table with no one behind us) and were told we'd still have to wait to be seated by an empty front area. After returning to find no one present at the front again, we decided to leave. I haven't been here in a while, though I used to love it, but things seem to be a little less aesthetically pleasing, the staff looked us at rolled their eyes on our arrival, and their seeming reluctance to serve us at 8 pm on a weekend is a sign maybe I should give it another year or two before trying again. Do not recommend. 0/10 performance today

I had an amazing experience at the Juicy Crab on Camp Creek, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Casey. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Casey was attentive without being overbearing, and it was clear that he genuinely enjoys what he does. He was super friendly and relatable, striking that perfect balance between professional and personable. You could tell he knew the menu inside and out — he answered all our questions, offered great recommendations, and made sure our food came out just right. In a world where great service can sometimes be hard to come by, Casey went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. If you’re heading to Juicy Crab on Camp Creek, do yourself a favor and ask for him. You won’t be disappointed!

Wanted to leave but seemed to be ok at first. Service was non existent since they charge 15% automatically. I know why now. Once you order and get it, no service! Food comes in a plastic bag like it was prepared a while ago and they shake it up with the sauce you order. It was not very hot either. I don't know how this restaurant stays in business. I brought a friend and we were both disappointed. Never again!!

the food was bad this trip, way to much seasoning april 10 2025. i just didn't like the gratuity was already added to my bill i was under the impression that it was added to a party of 3 or more
Toledobunny O — Google review
I recently dined at Juicy Crab and overall had a decent experience. The food was flavorful and came out hot, and the service was relatively quick. However, I was surprised to find a gratuity charge of $12.15 automatically added to the bill, even though it was just me and one other person. It would have been appreciated if this had been mentioned upfront, as automatic gratuity is typically expected for larger parties. Just something to be aware of when dining here. Other than that, it was a pretty standard seafood boil experience.

Atlanta Fish House & Grill is a popular seafood spot on the southside of Atlanta, offering a variety of fried and grilled fish. Customers have praised the deliciousness of the freshly prepared fish, with some recommending trying out their desserts as well. The establishment also offers other items like sassy hot wings, fries, strawberry shortcake, grilled salmon on rice, sweet potato pie, and hush puppies.
My favorite place to get fish. If I could eat here everyday I would. The food is seasoned to perfection. Im always getting the family bundle with the fish and wings. The hush puppies are my all time favorite no one makes the hush puppies as good as these guys. If you haven't been here you're missing out. Damn, damn, damn!!! I got the catfish and the grilled chicken salad. You can really take the grill taste in the chicken (which I really like). The fish is well seasoned, nice and crunchy. (Not dried out or refried!!). Very reasonably priced. Definitely better than JJ"s!

We recently tried Atlanta Fish House and Grill, heard really good things about their food. I honestly wish we would have ordered differently, and I think we are going to try their food again. We got the 10 piece teriyaki lemon pepper wings, shrimp basket, and fish tacos. The wing sauce was very good, but the wings were small. The shrimp were a good size, overall flavor was nice and they included a house sauce which was very tasty but the shrimp had a bit too much batter on for my liking. I got the fish tacos and wish I would have gotten the tilapia- I think the house order is with whiting. The tacos were good- but again I would get tilapia or salmon next time. We plan to go back again and get the grilled salmon, we would get the shrimp again as well. Great price for the food, service was fast, lots of people getting carry out and nice selection of sauces/flavors.

The grilled salmon and rice was delicious, the peach lemonade came in a nicely sealed bottle and it was really good too. I’m so glad I found this place!! The set up inside is not for dining but there is outdoor seating with tables. Cute spot, easy to order at the available kiosks, can also order and pay at the register. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating as you wait for your food (I waited 5 min); just a great experience overall!

Lagarde American Eatery in Chamblee offers a unique blend of Cajun and Creole seafood dishes, thanks to the rich background of Atlanta Chef Jamie Adams. The restaurant has recently expanded its patio for safe dining during the pandemic, offering a menu that includes charbroiled oysters, shrimp and grits, and new drink options like the frozen chocolate mudslide. Customers have praised the casual dining atmosphere, varied menu with specials, and friendly service.
This place was really nice and casual! They had outdoor dining and the doors open. Our sever was very nice and professional. Our food was brought out piping hot and delicious. I ordered the Salmon BLT with the Cajun tots and the Summer in Chamblee cocktail. Oh and the deviled eggs and Thai Fried as appetizers. The cocktail was incredibly refreshing and perfect for a warm afternoon! I didn’t get andouille on the deviled eggs which I later regretted because I felt like they needed a little crunch. The Salmon BLT was tasty. Although I wish they didn’t put such a thin piece of Salmon on it. The Cajun tater tots were cooked to perfection and absolutely amazing! I would go back just for those alone. All in all, a really good culinary experience!

Just celebrated Mother’s Day here and we had a pretty good time. Food was good, service was great (don’t remember our servers name, but she had medium long curly brunette hair and tattoos). The cocktail ‘The Sopranos’ I ordered wasn’t good to me at all, but it might just be my liquor preferences. Only downside was how loud it was inside the covered patio, we had to basically yell at each other from across the table to hear.

Had an excellent time here. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was top tier. Even the drinks were good. We were seated outside on a beautiful day with a nice breeze. Our server was very accommodating and attentive. The oysters, fried calamari and octopus, and deviled eggs were delicious. Though the eggs were a little pricey for the portion. The desserts hit the spot to finish the meals. Chocolate cake for me and bread pudding for my guest. I definitely recommend this place.

People often leave reviews only when something goes wrong, but I want to share one because this place gets it right every single time. A great team starts with a great leader, and Jessi, the general manager, is exactly that. His leadership shows in the way the whole staff operates—welcoming, attentive, and consistent. Blake and Jess at the bar are fantastic, Ronan is an excellent server who always takes great care of guests, and the chef never misses a beat with the food. Even the hosts who greet you at the door make you feel right at home. I visit often, and the experience is always top-notch. The atmosphere, the service, and the food keep me coming back. Thank you to Jessi and the whole team for setting the bar high and delivering every time!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I got tired of waiting for people to come with, so I went myself. Sat outside, which was nice and clean, although it was hot, there was a fan for customers. It helped a little bit. I am terrible with name, but the server was great he made some great recommendations aside from the oysters, which is really what drew me to this place. My oysters were nice and fresh. I had a dozen along with the crab cake and shrimp scampi. The crab cake was delicious, but I am not a fan of corn, so next time I order, it will be without the corn. Again, the oysters were fresh. I like mine raw they were perfect The scampi was good but a little bland to my liking. It's as if it was more butter than anything. I like a nice balance of garlic taste in my scampi. It was not bad, just not my preference. Had a glass of wine and just enjoyed the "Me Time." Nice relaxing environment. I went around 430, and it wasn't too busy. As I was leaving, more and more people were arriving. Pricing wish I was satisfied prior to tip only spent about 65. Which for some pla es in GA that was nothing. I will definitely be back!!!

This was my actual Birthday Brunch and I wanted an irresistible meal with a view!!! I most definitely got that and more! Kurt our server, was on it!!! He gave us the run down on the menu and all his suggestions were accurate. To start we had, the Atlantic Shrimp cocktail and a pastry case. I ordered a 🦞 Lobster omlette, my friend: The OG Benedict and my cousin: the Smoked Salmon Avocado toast. We received complimentary champagne, which was so unexpected. The Leave of Absinthe was so well made( always wanted to try Absinthe). My cousin had a Rose Margarita, also divine! I'm a huge orange juice snob and their fresh squeezed OJ made my heart giggle with joy! I can not wait to return for dinner one day. That atmosphere was fabulous and the playlist is just DOPE!!!! Food was okay but small portions and very overpriced plus staff could be friendlier. The terrace view from the restaurant is not worth it either. Drinks by the pool were ok, the view is definitely nice from there but again overpriced plus it's self-service. Nobody came to ask us if we wanted to order anything although staff passed us by multiple times.

My first visit Thursday evening wasn't as impressive as I hoped. We sat at the bar and had the hardest time with service. We sat in front of two bartenders that never acknowledged us. After ten minutes we stopped one to request their attention.. the struggle with service continued our entire visit. Although food was sat in front of us we had to request silverware and napkins. My guest was never given a napkin. Just terrible. If you're going to have an expensive menu, service should be top notch. We chose to eat the appetizers we shared and head downstairs to eat at velvet taco instead. The atmosphere is dope, skyline views and cocktails were certainly the high points of the night. Hopefully my next visit will be better.

This place is amazing! Beautiful beyond belief. The drinks are exceptional. Outdoor and indoor bars and service are both great. I've gone for both dinner and brunch and loved both. It's a little pricey but worth it for the experience. The outdoor firepits and live dj are a great touch. It's like being transported to a tropical paradise. Definitely a fave.

This place was okay. Everything is expensive though. Drinks are $25 up and to get in the facility it is $30. Also it’s $10 to get inside the pool area because there are different sections for viewing. We didn’t eat here because after looking at the reviews of how expensive the food was we denied eating. To get in the pool it was $74 in which I thought was ridiculous because $74 to get in a pool per person which included a chair to lounge in, we might as well should of went to the beach for that price for free. It is a beautiful place and the atmosphere and vibes was very relaxing and I enjoyed the scenery with my boyfriend but I was still upset that after awhile being there we honestly was ready to go. I hope one day they play better music then the sleepy music you normally play if you wanted to meditate and also bring down the prices esp for the pool area. Also make sure to go on a Sat cus Sundays are hit or miss. I felt like a Sat night would of been more fun and entertaining.

Such a cute vibe I love the scenery. The food was amazing, and the drinks were great. The host was very sweet. I had the classic margarita and the French sauvignon blanc. The oysters with caviar was so yummy. I also had the octopus which was to die for and lastly, I had the halibut which was cooked to perfection.

Whether you're stopping by for a pre-concert meal or just looking to enjoy some great food, this pub has you covered. Guests rave about the attentive service, with staff like Courtney and Tasha going above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. The menu features mouthwatering options such as plump Rockefeller Oysters and the standout Applewood Steakhouse burger, which many claim is one of the best they've ever had.
Kiya was amazing! From the moment I was seated she came over and introduced herself. She gave great recommendations on the menu and I absolutely loved everything I ordered. The Louisiana eggrolls with the crema topping are the best. Today I also tried the Moroccan Meatballs and they were better than I imagined. My lemon drop Martini was delicious. For dessert I ordered the brownie sundae and it was massive. One of the best brownies I’ve had this year!

My son and I were in town for a concert at The Eastern and dropped in for some vittles before the show. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We sat at the bar and our bartender/server was Courtney. I can’t say enough good things about the attentiveness and great recommendations for entrees. She allowed us to sample a beer before trying and never let our ice cold glasses go dry. I had the fish and chips and my son had the mahi mahi. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and plating was well thought out. The breading on my fish was the star of the show with the smoked jalapeño slaw being a close second. To add to the ambiance I love the steampunk inspired lighting and our bartender told us that the owner makes them himself. If you’re in the area give this place a shot and ask to sit at the bar with Courtney. She’s awesome!

This is one of my favorite restaurants!!! The service is fast, polite, personable and friendly. Their food and presentation were excellent and everything tastes amazing. We had the chicken fried chicken and eggrolls! (Both heavenly) Shannon has been our server the past few times and we love her. She remembered us from our first visit and was so attentive. She was doing things for us before we could even think to ask. We will absolutely be back.

I came in with my daughter last night on a whim to grab a quick bite before we saw The Little Mermaid. We were seated in less than a minute and the customer service throughout was PHENOMENAL. Our waitress was Tasha and she was so patient with my daughter and I & very knowledgeable of the menu. Checked in consistently and went above and beyond. And Frank, who I am assuming is the manager, was very hands on and working just as hard as the staff members. He was always on the floor, whether cleaning up or making friendly conversation with those dining in. Also he absolutely made my daughter’s night! She wore an Ariel costume for our movie showing and he told her she was the most beautiful princess he’d ever seen and he asked if she could get a brownie with ice cream scoops on the house because of that! She was beaming from the inside out. This meant a lot to her (and to myself) because when we were walking to grab food from exiting the car she admitted to feeling self-conscious (“weird” as she worded it) because she thought people would stare or pick on her. As a mom of course I came to defense and shared that she has to be confident and not care what anyone thinks as long as she felt good. But when Frank (and Tasha as well) boosted my girl and showed so much kindness and like she was a real princess, it made her soar. Her head was held high for the rest of the evening! What probably seemed like a small gesture to them made our entire night!! Thank you Frank and Tasha! As far as food, everything was hot and fresh. They served us pretty quickly. We were in and out in less than an hour (Thursday night). My daughter had a cheeseburger with fries. I had the wings with the Asian slaw and a Caesar salad. My only, only complaint would be that the wings were dry. Flavor was great but without them being saucy or no dipping sauce, it was hard to enjoy them. Usually I would never get dessert (we just aren’t really the type to do sweets) but that brownie he gave us….. OMG. Absolute heaven. Flaky, fudgy, chocolaty goodness. And it was humongous!! Im positive I’ll be back for that again - and for that amazing customer service.

This was my first time Salt Factory Pub and it did not disappoint!!!! It was a total vibe! We started off with the Rockefeller Oysters they were plump, juicy and packed full of flavor! Our waitress Tasha recommended the Enchanted Smash to drink and it’s a bourbon based drink and it was smooth and refreshing. My entree was The Applewood Steakhouse burger with home cut fries! Let me say the sexy angus burger lacked nothing! The BEST burger I have had in a very long time! Everything from the service to the aesthetics were warm and welcoming. 10 out of 10 highly recommended!!!!!! Located in the Madison Yards in East Atlanta!!! Get there and enjoy!!!

I really wanted to like this place. Our first experience here is that they spent too much time on decor and not enough on teaching basics. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't good. Best possible version of my take is that the place has potential but we didn't get the A Team staff on a Monday at 5:30pm, when the restaurant was basically empty. Play by play: Hostess was nice, even though I accidentally stepped on her foot while we were being seated. Sorry, again! Server was nice, but treated us awkwardly and seemed very inexperienced. We ordered sodas, an appetizer, an old fashioned, and two entrees. The app came out: chicken and andouille eggrolls. This was definitely the highlight, well made, flavorful, a bit of spice, with a great mustardy sauce. I wish I'd ordered a second one. We cleared that plate, and 30 minutes in our cocktail hadn't arrived. The server came by to check, I asked, and she confirmed that she forgot to ring it in, so we cancelled that order. The entrees came out: Blackened Mahi Mahi (they were out of the salmon we wanted first) and a Southern Burger. The risotto with the fish was good, and the fish was OK (although overcooked and dry). The burger and fries were sad. The bacon was great, but the rest was super salty, the fries came out cool and limp, and the burger patty was *charred black* (ordered MW). It was hard to finish the burger and we didn't finish the fish in house. The server asked 'together or separate?' for the check, which was the first time in a LONG time I'd been asked that question while out with my wife of 20 years. I said "together, thank you." A minute later, she brought separate checks. As we signed the bill, a manager came by, asking if *his* manager had come by. We said no. He then told us about a loyalty program and gave us business cards advertising their new happy hour. He didn't ask about the meal, or the service, or anything else. The place is in a GREAT location, across from an AMC theater and free parking, in a bustling development at Madison Yards. I really wanted to like it. We didn't.

This place is simply amazing. I love the food options. Everything I’ve had was good and well prepared (from the Thai Beef Lettuce Wraps to the Shepherd’s Pie). The customer service is amazing, from the owner to the Director of Operations to the waiter/waitress staff. Shannon was awesome! Kudos to the chef and team! Well done!

Great seafood and cocktails. We came here to celebrate my bae’s birthday and absolutely enjoyed it. The bartender was great and she take her job with pride and confidence. We’d like to come back for the awesome cocktails and oysters again. Highly recommended!

Almost 5 stars almost... beautiful interior and exterior dining spaces, great details, fab looking bar. Cocktails were just great, well made and added to our group’s festive mood. Oysters were fresh and fun to sample. Highly recommend them. The salad was just what we needed as a palate cleanser. Menu is east and we love it for the seafood variety. Only issue we had was the curry flavored fish dish we had was over cooked. Instead of flaky the fish was rubbery and hard. It was the end of a long day so we didn’t make a fuss, but they seem such a nice crew that we think they would have handled it properly. Can’t wait to go again and taste other things on the menu.

Popped by Watchman’s during Happy Hour for $1 oysters & $8 drink specials but the STAR of the show was the Fried Brassicas with polenta, lemon, harissa & herbs!! Ridiculously delicious with interesting textures (the fried lemon slices really make it pop!). I hope they never take it off the menu! Beautiful space paired with excellent service & a tasty menu, Watchman’s is a Krog St Market gem. They also offer a $7 “ice cold” Green Chartreuse beverage that’s definitely worth checking out. We’ll definitely be back ...soon!

In person dining *revision* 2022 #orestes rocking the bar tonight! (Apologies if that's misspelled) Taking stars up though close to the end of Watchman's. Oyster po boy was great (not N'awlins style but interesting) *COVID CARRYOUT REVISION*: We've been doing rest carryout since mid-march to support local businesses. Watchman's Thursday night was hands down the *worst* carryout ever. I'm not sure what was up, but all dishes were terrible. The hushpuppies (pictured) were burnt. The steak (pictured) was t.o.u.g.h. The fries were cold and soggy. The roasted boy choy (pictured) is actually a caesar salad (pictured) and was oddly very salty. We ordered oysters and they were fine (but they were just a bag of oysters so not prepped). Spent over $120 for a meal that we threw half away. Also, they do not do contactless delivery - you have to go into the rest to pay and pickup. The experience made me very sad. July 2020 - Fantastic meal on the patio! Food was sublime and service stellar. We went at early so there were not many people, we masked and the staff were masked. Drinks were pre-mixed. Feb 2020- Knocked it out of the park Watchman's! Wow. Miles mixes 'em up like no other. Go for drinks, but don't ignore the food. Creative, sublime concoctions will keep us coming back.

I start most of my reviews with the following statement "my recommendations are meant for the curious and open-minded eater that delights in the entire dining experience. If you're into chain restaurants this AINT for you. However, if you enjoy the element of surprise, dishes that excite the senses while possessing an element of complexity without being too pretentious, then my review is what you're looking for." Watchman is the sister restaurant of the legendary Kimbal House, one of the many jewels of the ATL food scene. The restaurant specializes in seafood, creative craft cocktails, and an oyster bar that sources from some of the best locations in the country. The Space Tucked away in a quaint corner of Krog Street Market, Watchmen is a spacious and inviting restaurant that has its own personality. Open and free flowing, when you walk in your eyes are immediately drawn to the custom bar and liquor display. Endless rows of gold shelving are stocked with some of the rarest and unique alcohols and vintage crystal. The dining area is broken up into several sections. You have 15 or so bar seats, and 5-7 high-top tables for casual dinners, regulars, and happy hour guests. You also have standard table and booth options on the main floor and outdoor patio (which backs up to Krog Street and is an excellent dining location option during the summer/spring). There is one area/table for large parties that can hold 10-12 that most folks don't know about. What I love most about the space are the lighting and live plants. Watchman is full of potted ivy, golden pothos, and other gems The Food I'm a regular at this restaurant, so I've had everything on the menu several times! Aside from Kimbal House, you won't find a restaurant with the same quality of seafood (fresh/ well seasoned/delicious as hell). I would suggest ordering a few items from each section (starters/mains/sides). With that being said, here are my menu favs 1-OYSTERS (you have to order them) - the best way to order is dealers choice 2- Snapper Tar Tar & Tuna Crudo - fresh, light, perfectly prepared 3- Shrimp Roll - makes my inner fat kid happy. the right ratio of crab to mayo 4-Confit Pork Belly - delicious, well seasoned, and yummy crispy skin 5-Grouper & Red Snapper - words can't do it justice, but it is magic and enough for two 6 - CORN "AKA CRACK" HUSH PUPPIES- the name says it all! The Service I'm huge on service, and this place doesn't disappoint. The staff/servers are warm, hospitable, attentive, and damn good at what they do. They do an excellent job of managing the pace of your meal while not making you feel rushed. I have a life-threatening tree nut allergy that I've only had to tell them once even though I've been eating at the restaurant for well over a year. The Bar Managers and Bartenders know their booze and create James Beard worthy drinks that use seasonal and local ingredients. They have two drink menus. One that never changes and another that rotates (limited time offer drinks). I would have one from each if you can. First-Timer Tips 1- Go during the week - the weekends are busy so M-TH is ideal; If you go Friday get there by 6PM or just make a reservation 2- Order a bunch of small plates if you can't make up your mind 3- Try the oysters "dealers choice" style 4- Have your meal at the large bar or oyster bar 5- Drink Tip - if you're a first timer, let the bartender know what flavors and spirts you prefer and let them surprise you

Located in Kirkwood, The Argonaut is a seafood restaurant with tasteful nautical decor that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. It offers a diverse menu of superb seafood dishes and an impressive selection of fresh and plentiful oysters from both coasts. The vibrant atmosphere and fantastic bar with cocktails, wines, and craft beers make it an ideal spot for a fancy night out or a casual dinner. With its sleek nautical design, this restaurant is truly a paradise for seafood lovers.
5 stars for The Argonaut! We’ve worked our way through nearly everything on the menu, and it’s all delicious. For a seafood spot, the burger is unexpectedly incredible, I could eat it every day. The edamame hummus is a standout for the appetizers and the blackened fish sandwich is another favorite. They have a solid kids’ menu, which we really appreciate as parents. Everything is fresh, and the house-made chips and popcorn shrimp are delicious. Dining out with a toddler can be stressful, but we never feel judged or out of place here. In fact, the staff goes out of their way to make us feel welcome. Riley is our favorite server, so attentive and genuinely sweet with our two-year-old daughter. They’ve even mentioned how fun it is to watch her grow up, which means a lot. The Argonaut doesn’t just serve great food, they truly care about their community. The management actively communicates with regulars, asks for feedback, and adjusts hours and menu offerings based on what people want. It feels like a place that values its customers. It’s also a perfect spot for adults, great for a girls’ night or date night. We went for Valentine’s Day and had a fantastic time. I’m picky about cocktails, but their bar program is excellent, and the wine list is strong too. Highly recommend, whether you’re coming with kids or looking for a night out, The Argonaut is a gem

The experience was pleasant. The server worked hard, but timing is everything. I was a little disappointed with the food. The fish sandwich was a small portion of the grouper. Also, the aioli is good but a bit spicy. The drinks and dessert were excellent. The atmosphere is terrific, mainly the decor. Apparently, the raw bar is the main attraction.

From the moment you walk through the door, the atmosphere draws you in. The design theme is very purposeful and unique. The scale tiles and serpent murals are very tasteful. Every where you look, something will draw your eye. I almost missed the carved tuna along the base of the bar. The owner and staff are amazing and full of energy. They were very attentive to our group that came in as part of a pub crawl. Everyone received their drinks in a timely manner. The raw bar looked amazing. I want to come back and have a meal and just soak in the vibe. They have a nice event space upstairs that over looks the bar/restaurant. The Augonaut has only been open for six months, but the place runs like a well-oiled machine. Come in for a delicious cocktail or enjoy a variety of fresh oysters and much much more. A great place to be.

We went there as big group 8 with friends and family. Our waiter was so nice and kind. We ordered a lot and we really like the food. We had Pork belly bites, Seared Tuna, Butcher's Steak, Thai chilli Hush puppies, Ceviche, Kirkwood Smash Burger, Grilled Salmon and Lobster. We love all the food! All the flavors like dancing in the mouth. But there were a few spots for parking behide the restaurant. We had good time.

I had high hopes for this place after reading all the glowing reviews and seeing the beautifully plated dishes on Instagram. The atmosphere was great—warm lighting, a stylish but comfortable setup, and a lively but not overwhelming noise level. It felt like the perfect spot for a nice evening out. The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knew the menu well, and made sure our drinks were always full. Everything was timed perfectly, and we never felt rushed or ignored. But then came the food. It wasn’t *bad* by any means, but it just didn’t live up to the hype. The flavors were lacking that extra something that makes a dish memorable. I kept waiting for that wow factor, but it never really came. The presentation was beautiful—just like the pictures—but taste-wise, it fell flat. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, or maybe my expectations were too high, but I left feeling a little underwhelmed. Would I come back? Maybe—for the service and the atmosphere. But I’d probably try somewhere else first before giving it another shot.

I’ve lived in Atlanta for 10 years and have tried almost every seafood restaurant in the city. The Argonaut is one of the top 5 seafood restaurants in the city. The seafood gods have blessed me with a phenomenal seafood restaurant in walking distance in Kirkwood and for that I am thankful. Had the oysters for an appetizer and knew then that this place was different. I said that because living in a land locked city makes it a struggle to find good quality oysters and they delivered. Me and my date had the Cajun Crab dip and even he was impressed. We both ordered the shrimp and grits after a suggestion from our server and loved it. The food was so good I went later that evening for dinner by myself and sat at the bar just to get a feel and the service was just as good that evening as well as the food. I ordered the scallops and clam chowder and both were great. This will definitely be my spot to have lunch and work.

We found this place on "The Gram" and oh wow. What an experience. We went with another couple and we were blown away. The drinks were excellent and the food blew us away. Pricing was very reasonable considering the current state of costs and for the experience/location. Likely the best dining experience we've had in ATL.

Loving the transformation of this place from a sports bar to a seafood restaurant— something this community needed for a while. Vibes: open and casual. Loving the classic coastal-esque vibes. Beautiful oyster counter & large bar top area. Large mural w/ upper private seating area overlooking bar & booth area. Looking forward to summer and fall nights dining on their front patio space. Looking forward to trying brunch here in the near future. Food: Oysters - SRCRUMPTIOUS! 6 options ranging from $3-4.75 Blackened tuna- yummy but portions are not consistent. We ordered two portions and one was significantly less than the first portion. Fish sandwich — filling option with all the fixings. Clam Chowder - small bowl portion in comparison to price ($15) in an awkward shaped bowl. Delicious otherwise and has lots of bacon & clams. Overall flavorful Keylime pie- creamy & zesty with a delicious thick, buttery graham cracker crust. Wine paired : Harken Chardonnay — delicious & smooth, light pear notes with mild buttery oak flavor. Paired well with all food we ordered two portions

Really bad fish. Not fresh at all. Stay away from the grouper especially- even though I purchased it frozen, it absolutely reeked when defrosted. If your fish smells fishy, it’s not fresh.

Nestled in the heart of Atlanta, The Luminary is a chic brasserie that beautifully marries French and American culinary traditions. With an impressive raw bar featuring daily selections of oysters and Sapelo Island clams, it’s a seafood lover's paradise. Diners rave about the exquisite dishes, from rich foie gras to delightful desserts crafted by their talented pastry chef. Guests have praised the attentive staff for their expertise and warmth, making every visit feel special.
Judging from the reviews, I honestly wasn’t expected much… but I have to say, this was one of the best meals I’ve had in Atlanta to date. Such a pleasant surprise! Every last bite was divine and our server, Addy, was delightful. I started with the fried cauliflower - I wish I’d had a bottomless plate. I’d never tasted anything like it before. Bright, bold curry-like flavor. This alone was worth the trip. Then, I had the swordfish amandine. Again, magical. I don’t know what they do to that kale, but seriously, it’s food sorcery. Usually, swordfish can end up very dry, but this was moist. The celery root puree & pecans were the perfect compliment. The entree was not heavy, but the perfect balance of nice, light flavors. For dessert, I had some sort of chocolate mousse and coffee cake business. Whatever it was, it got scarfed down in seconds. Also enjoyed the Bitter End cocktail - unexpectedly sweeter than tart for a cocktail with so much grapefruit going on, but still yummy. That’s it — Delicious from start to finish. Will definitely come again!

I ordered the beef tar-tar with cesar dressing and all I could taste was the anchovies from the dressing. It was terrible. I told them to take it back and to make it up to me they brought me an order of french fries covered in a gravy/sauce. I tasted it, but I didn't want something greasy. They should have at least ask if I wanted something else. For my main dish I ordered the pork belly. It was taste less, super greasy, and it was presented with a beet puree. All I could taste was grease and the dirt taste of the beets. The quality of food/cooking is weak and over priced. However, the restaurant is nice, the service was quite good, and the drinks are also good. I hope they get a better cook.

I was, frankly, disappointed. Granted, I went as one of a large party, which is never the ideal way to judge a restaurant, but we had dishes that were on the regular menu and they were largely unimpressive. Raw oysters were served with a spicy vinegar already on them so it was impossible to taste the oysters themselves - pretty much a cardinal sin. Mussels were excellent but the lovely sauce was over-salted, as were several other items during the evening (the mashed potatoes with the amberjack - which was overcooked - were so salty as to be inedible). Paillard of chicken with ratatouille was one of the better dishes but still better described as competent than especially good. Nice atmosphere but the food needs to be better executed.

This restaurant has a beautiful modern aesthetic. It's a cool date night option, and the service is great -- attentive, thoughtful and friendly. Their happy hour menu looks good, and I would have liked to try the oyster bar because there were a lot of options. Dinner was delicious, though small.

I was extremely disappointed in the food. My partner and I dined at the restaurant on Friday and expecting to be impressed- we were not. While the service was decent, the food was disappointing. The Gnocchi in a foie gras sauce was cold. The beef tartare was poor executed and the flavors not well-balanced. And the most poorly executed dish was the Duck Leg Confit. It was extremely dry and parts were inedible. We were so disappointed that we chose to have desserts at another restaurant across the street. I don't think we'll be back.

This was my first visit to this establishment....but it will not be my last...The decor, the excellent service, and the food it self were all top notch. We benefited from arriving early in the evening, so we seemed to have a waiter of our own due to a light smattering of other patrons. This waiter answered all our questions patiently and offered off the menu suggestions, also. I chose mussels with creme fresh and dijon for a first course followed by pork romillade with a vinagerette sauce that was mouth watering and a side of French endive that was delicious. I had Guinness with the first course and a French Pinot Noir with the pork. My companion had a variety of four raw oysters from four different cold water regions and then swordfish accompanied by the same wine as mine. We shared a dessert of cookies with ice cream centers and a dark sauce. Yum! The place was filling as we left. A totally enjoyable evening for both of us.Thanks to all.

Truly a gem. Went with some French friends who are generally a bit critical of cuisine, particularly anything that claims to be French cuisine. We all agreed it was the best we had in Atlanta and some things (the fois gras, a rare whiskey) were favorites ever. The other things (oysters, cheese, various desserts from their fabulous pastry chef, various drinks...) were all delightful. The staff, particularly Brian and Abigail, are true pro's...they know their stuff and were so kind. We expect to be regulars now, particularly Wednesdays for half of whiskey night and half off oysters (which is 5-7 every day). Bravo Luminary and thanks for an amazingly unexpected evening.
