JINYA Ramen Bar - Poncey Highland offers a modern atmosphere and authentic Japanese ramen. The founder, Tomonori Takahasi, was disappointed by the lack of genuine ramen options in the United States, inspiring him to create JINYA. The restaurant's broths are simmered for 10 hours to maximize flavor. While their spicy tonkotsu ramen is a popular choice, they also offer creamy vegan ramen that doesn't compromise on taste.
Jiya Ramen Bar blew me away! I started with the tuna tacos and salmon sushi as appetizers—both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The tacos had just the right balance of texture and spice, and the salmon was buttery and delicious. But the highlight was definitely the spicy chicken ramen with a soy egg. It was rich, authentic, and absolutely packed with flavor. The broth was perfectly spiced and comforting, the noodles were cooked to perfection, and every ingredient felt thoughtfully crafted. Easily one of the best ramen bowls I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!

It was good. Not anything to rave about but definitely edible. I got the spicy chicken ramen and I added egg, corn, garlic and broccoli. What turned me off was that they deep fried my broccoli. They served my additions on the side and I went to bite the head of the broccoli and it was literally soaked in oil. I mean SOAKED (mouth full of oil, I had to spit it out)! But nonetheless, my waitress Arthhaxa was AWESOME! She was patient and kind! I have been trying out the ramen spots lately and thus far, ERamen is my favorite…

I got level 6 of Tonkatsu Pork Red ramen, brussel sprouts tempura, Creamy spicy shrimp tempura. They were all amazing!!! The spicy level was perfect for me, sweating a lot, I love it!! There was a little wait but totally worth it. We got really good service. We were there hanging out on weekend, the place was packed. They also have outdoor area for good weather day. This is the taste I have been looking for a ramen place in Atlanta.

Definitely pick your time because if you try during the peak times with more than 4, it's a challenge. The food and atmosphere were good. Thought it was kinda cool that they had pet friendly family seating outdoors and free water bowls for the fur babies.

I had an amazing time visiting this location for the first time. As always, the food was amazing. Parking wasn’t that great but I found a spot on the street not too far. Food came on time, hot and steaming. Call me crazy for getting ramen in the middle of the summer but it just hits the spot every time!
Janelle W — Google review
Jinya Ramen is surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. The ramen has a depth of flavor and quality that you wouldn't expect. While the drinks are a bit too sweet for my taste, the ramen itself is solid and definitely worth a try. ❤️chicken wonton ramen

Just had a really disappointing experience here, which is a shame because I was super excited to try it. The food we did get was good, but half of what we ordered never came. Our server, Brady, never brought the drink we ordered, never refilled our waters, and never checked on us. Even after we told him we never got the crispy rice with tuna, he still didn’t bring it. Thirty minutes later, nothing. No apology, no effort. He didn’t seem busy either, just standing around the computers most of the time. The table next to us was also complaining about the service and food. When we finally asked for the check, it included everything we never received, including the crispy rice, second salmon sushi, and the Diet Coke. When we mentioned it, he just said he’d take it off, still showing no concern at all. Overall, a really weird and disappointing experience. We left feeling unhappy and still hungry.
Megan B — Google review
I like how Jinya Ramen comes with a full large marinated egg and two slices of thick char siu. Quick service but it was hard to get a hold of our server to ask for the check. They do not validate parking sadly :( 5 stars for food I came during national ramen day so their 3 signatures were only $12. I wound up getting the Jinya tonkatsu black ramen. Very delicious, the broth was well flavored and thick. It came with a big egg and 2 thick slices of meat. I wish there were more mushrooms or toppings, but I'm just a ramen lover. They also had a happy hour (3-5pm? on weekdays), and I got the crispy chicken since it was about $3 less. It was amazing, juicy, crispy, and full of chicken. It wasn't one of those fried chicken apps where half of it was breading. It came piping hot too. It was delicious by itself and with the sauce it came with- and I'd get it again~

Yakitori Jinbei is a Japanese restaurant located in Smyrna, offering a laid-back environment and a fusion of Korean and Japanese favorites. The menu features grilled skewers, ramen, sushi, and popular Japanese street food like okonomiyaki. Their Naruto Ramen is a unique twist on the classic dish, combining pork and chicken broth with Naruto fish cake and spicy minced pork.
My bf bought this home twice bc I like it & and I’m glad I found the name. The Korean fried chicken and vegetable fried rice tastes great !. It was FRESH, temperature hot,and crispy ! The only thing is I wish the chicken was more identifiable bc my bf doesn’t eat it bc he says it’s not identifiable or whatever. He’s very picky. Like have somewthong on your menu that specifies two legs, two wingetts, two thighs or something for people who are sceptical . It tastes great though to me

Everything we had here was delicious. We ordered four different types of sushi and could not agree on a favorite because they were all so good. The service was great as well. Our waitress was attentive and other staff members came to check on us as weĺl. We will definitely be back.
Tiffany's P — Google review
Small restaurant so you are sitting close to the table next to you (similar to in Europe). Service was excellent! I don’t like Sake by itself so I was happy to see that they had Sake cocktails. The menu had lots of options between Ramen, sushi, fried rice, and Korean chicken. They did let us know that it would be 15 to 20 minutes for the chicken to come out, which was nice. Overall everything was delicious.

We keep coming to this place for the great food. I always get one of the ramen soups (usually katsu curry). The staff is very nice and accommodating and they are decently priced.

Came on a Tuesday during lunch so my experience may be different than others* Very cute restaurant, dope vibes with the music playing and great service. Never had sake and was able to try it as a mixed cocktail. Order the spicy ramen and shrimp nigiri and both were really good. Ramen bowl was a lot more than expected and worth the price Would def come back

Food was good. I think the sushi a bit small but wasnt bad.. Ramen and rice is good portion. Nice friendly staff. Worth checking out.
Alford J — Google review
Hands down some of the best ramen in the area. They make everything fresh as you order it so if you come at a busy time there could a wait but it’s worth it for quality. We’ve been multiple times and it’s always a 10/10.
James — Google review
This was my first time coming to this place and found a dead maggot in my broccoli. I told the server Kaliyah and all she did was bring me a plate to put it on and didn’t bother to take it away so it was sitting at the table. she didn’t even apologize until I brought it up a second time. and to make matters worse, when we got the bill, we were still getting charged for the meal even though the plate was full and she was well aware of the maggot!! highly disappointed. please do better.

Ramen restaurant
Lifting Noodles Ramen has quickly become a popular destination in Atlanta's ramen scene since its debut in 2018. What started as a stall in EAV's Suki Suki food hall has now expanded to multiple locations across the country, including Houston, Philadelphia, and Charleston.
Delicious and tasty food. Fried brussel sprouts are my favorite. The fried Gyoza are yummy too. The Udon ramen is tasty and comforting. Service is fast, atmosphere peaceful. One of our favorite meals.
Sandra M — Google review
Went there for a late lunch, was VERY tasty! I had the Village Classic Ramen with added shrimp and a Pineapple Passion fruit Lemonade. It's a little "hole-in-the-wall" with good music playing... everyone there was nice. Definitely going back to try some other menu items!
Deb P — Google review
Not a bad spot for a quick ramen fix. Enjoyed the spicy selections and the friendly staff. Wide selection to explore and enjoy
Rodney M — Google review
I had been craving ramen for some time and decided to try a bowl from here. Now, when I first entered, I was greeted, but the place itself was extremely small, and there was stuff everywhere. I mean, there were take out orders on a few tables, boxes stacked high in the eating area, amongst other things. They then instructed I needed to go to the back of the restaurant to place the order. Now, as this was my first time, I had no idea where to walk to! With all the stuff in the way, where would I find the place to put in my order. I then scanned the qr code on a menu and started to place my order, but when another person came in and I saw where I was supposed to go, I was like oh. To get the full experience I decided to eat there although I wasn't looking forward to that. There were a few picnic tables in the back that didn't have stuff on it, so I chose one. My food came quickly, which was good, but I noticed there were no condiments on the table. No soy sauce, Sriracha, chili oil. I mean nothing! So I ate the ramen as served. I ordered spring rolls, a jasmine milk tea bubble tea and a spicy tan tan ramen added with kimchi and shitake mushrooms. First off, my ramen was not spicy, so I was already disappointed. Then, when I tried the broth, it was missing the umami flavor that ramens usually have, so it fell flat. The broth wasn't bad it needed more levels of flavor to really make that sing. So everything in the bowl when eaten together was just flat. Edible but not satisfying. The spring rolls weren't anything special, and the bubble tea was blah. I've had better, and I ended up not even finishing it. I think the menu here is great, but the seasoning of the items and flavor of the broth, which is essential for any ramen, fell flat. I wouldn't return, but I hope they consider fixing the chaotic presentation that is inside to not confuse the customer but to make them feel welcomed.
Abby R — Google review
This was some really good ramen! Very good portions and flavorful. The boba tea was very good as well I just wish it was more flavors to choose from. Will definitely come back just wish there was more seating available.
Mary G — Google review
The food is so good and packaged really well! Really fresh ingredients! I can't rate atmosphere because I ordered off of uber eats but this place is amazing! I called before hand to ask them the sizes of bowls of ramen and was impressed by how much they give! Well worth the money to go here and I love the create your own ramen bowl idea because that's why I tried here to begin with!
Cori D — Google review
Got the Tonkotsu “BLACK” Ramen and Spicy Run Run Ramen. Also the Ginger miso salad which we liked. - Egg is average. Was cold and wasnt what I think of when I get the ramen seasoned egg. - Pork belly was below average. Nothing special about it. - Black broth was excellent. Really enjoyed it. Spicy run run broth was average.

Lifting Noodles Ramen is a ramen shop located in a food marked called We Suki Suki in East Atlanta Village, along with many other establishments. All they offer is pretty much ramen, although they have some appetizers such as Fried Pork Gyoza, Spring rolls, or Fried Brussel Sprouts. I ordered two different type of ramen: -Angry Zuko Ramen ($11): spicy creamy pork broth, pork belly, noodles, sweet corn, black mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, scallions, pickled ginger, marinated soft-boiled egg, and roasted seaweed. - Spicy Seafood Ramen: ($13): spicy creamy pork broth, shrimp, mussels, squids, noodles, sweet corn, black mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, scallions, sesame seeds, marinated soft-boiled egg, and roasted seaweed. The creamy pork both was so tasty, but the Spicy Seafood Ramen in particular was my favorite! This place does not have many seating available so I suggest you take it to go. Staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Give it a try! Japanese restaurant
Okiboru Tsukemen & Ramen is a popular restaurant with multiple locations in the Atlanta area. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including Okiboru bao buns, Ebi Karaage, Truffle Shoyu, Tori Paitan (available in spicy and non-spicy), vegan Yasai, and the famous Spicy Tonkotsu. Their ramen has received awards and recognition from the Michelin guidebook.
🍜 Simply superb. We’ve been to Japan and eaten the “real thing.” Okiboru is some of the best ramen ($15.5) we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy since then. The creamy broth is rich and filling, the pork melts in your mouth, and the portions are just right (pro tip: you can order a broth OR noodle refill if you haven’t had enough by the end of your bowl!) $15.5-18 for a large bowl. 🍶the sake flight ($31) is very intriguing with one cup exclusive to the restaurant! And their beer selection is just right— the rice beer is light and refreshing with complex flavor that will perfectly compliment your broth🍺 And the service is FANTASTIC!! It’s fast and very friendly. Sherlin and everyone else on the team are delightful. My only complaint: the lighting is very low and while most tables are couples, this isn’t a romantic spot. And while I love 90s pop and light rock music, it didn’t match the vibe. ❌ ♿️ And while the bathroom has bars and a roll under sink, the door is VERY heavy, opening slim, and the lock is very high, so it’s not fully wheelchair accessible. And the tables are crowded, but perhaps space for a chair next to the window (3 tables).

We went to this particular location twice now, the second time being my husband’s birthday and I cannot emphasize how incredibly amazed and astounded we are with the service, the food and the atmosphere. The food is 1000/10, and the employees are even better! Not possible right? Actually, it ABSOLUTELY it is there! It is very clear that they have mastered the art of hospitality. Totally recommend!!!

We happened to be in the area near Okiboru and on a whim decided to check it out. Boy were we glad to stumble onto this gem. We got fried gyoza and spicy tonkotsu ramen. We were blown away by the creaminess of the noodles and the savoriness of the broth. The heat was just right and we even ordered extra noodles because there was so much delicious broth left. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. If you don’t like spice, they have a non-spicy version. Everyone was super friendly in the restaurant itself was very nicely laid out and clean. We’ll be back!
Thomas B — Google review
The spicy tonkotsu ramen was delicious, it's a place with kind people and good atmosphere to eat. If you are near to this area go to try it. They have different beers 🍻

Went there couple days ago, visited couple of friends in Georgia, me and my gf from Florida, and this is a must.!! To go place, if you craving a ramen, in Georgia . their tori paitan is my fav, and the ebi karaage was super crispy and delicious. And we have our server Eunice was excellent service, she guide us to all their menu in detail, can’t wait to be back there again in the future..
Robin S — Google review
Wowzer! Definitely impressed. I’m no newbie to ramen, and I can honestly say the tonkotsu broth here hit the spot—it was rich, flavorful, and comforting. Super yummy and totally worth the drive. We passed multiple ramen spots just to come here based on the reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic, satisfying ramen.

Yakitori restaurant
Nestled within the vibrant Ponce City Market, Ton Ton Ramen & Yakitori is a charming self-service ramen bar that invites diners to indulge in a delightful array of brothy noodles and traditional Japanese bites. This cozy eatery, often referred to as a little wooden jewel box, showcases the culinary talents of restaurateur Guy Wong. Known for his previous ventures like Miso Izakaya and Le Fat, Wong brings his expertise in Japanese cuisine to this latest venture.
One of the Best Ramens I have Tried, Yes I will be coming back for sure. Great customer service! Autumn was our host she did amazing job! I highly recommend!
Gema S — Google review
This place was really my first exposure to Ramen so take this review how you will. The food itself was good, having again, never had ramen. I enjoyed the broth, and the noodles were fantastic. Great portions and was served steaming hot on a cooler day which made it taste better. Service was fantastic. Just the right amount and they did a fantastic job accommodating what we requested, not that we requested anything too extravagant.. Atmosphere was largely dictated by the ponce market itself, but over all had a good cozy atmosphere.
Jon H — Google review
I ordered the Dan Dan noodles, the taste is very good! the paste is closely attached to the noodle from the start to the end, definitely will come back again!
Chunhui Z — Google review
Ton Ton Ramen & Yakitori is located inside Ponce City Market, but the experience didn’t quite meet my expectations. The restaurant itself feels a bit worn, with basic construction materials and a setup that could use some upkeep. It’s not the most inviting or cozy ramen spot compared to others in Atlanta. I arrived a little before noon and saw that the staff was resting around the noodle bar, waiting for opening time. When 12:00 hit, I had to actually ask if they were open, which felt a bit unorganized. Once they got started, the service was fine, but the initial experience wasn’t particularly welcoming. As for the ramen, I had the Hakata Tonkotsu Classic, and while it wasn’t bad, it also didn’t stand out. The broth lacked depth, and overall, it just didn’t have the rich, bold flavors I was hoping for. With so many fantastic ramen spots in Atlanta, Ton Ton feels more like a convenient option if you’re already at Ponce City Market rather than a must-visit destination. It’s worth trying once, but if you’re looking for top-tier ramen, there are better options nearby.
Duke N — Google review
I havent had a good ramen bowl in YEARS! My wife, and friend and I happened upon this place in between Dragon Con events. Since Im vegetarian, they only had the one option--the Yasai Ramen Bowl. It was very delicious from start to finish. The staff and service were very good.
Darren T — Google review
The food was delicious! We ordered the classic, a mix of light and delicious flavors. We usually don't go for that option because it tends to overwhelm, but this one was definitely on point. Recommend getting a chili bomb for the extra kick. Service was excellent too, Andrea was super friendly and took the time to help us, and talk to us! Loved the service!
Geovanni J — Google review
10/10 Food was so good I ate the bowl and every utensil, all that’s left is the extra soy sauce, water and a free mochi. Amazing service provided by Tyler. Def recommend! (Lack of food is evidence of deliciousness)

Restaurant
Wagaya - Westside is a cozy Japanese restaurant with multiple locations, including one on the Westside and another in Emory Village. The name "Wagaya" means "home" in Japanese, and true to its name, the restaurant offers an intimate dining experience with a menu featuring classic noodle soups, sushi, tonkatsu plates, and more. At the Westside location near Georgia Tech territory, expect a bustling atmosphere filled with student groups.
Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. The udon is delicious and the Katsu is as well. I've had their sushi, both vegan and regular, it's also good. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I keep coming back. Plus everyone I take here likes it too!

We stumbled upon this place by accident — no reservation, on a Saturday at 5 p.m. Honestly, I expected to be turned away, but we were greeted with a warm smile and seated almost immediately. The service was outstanding — friendly, fast, and attentive. The beer was served at the perfect temperature (something surprisingly rare in Atlanta!), and the Rainbow Sushi I ordered was absolutely phenomenal. It instantly transported me to the Pacific — I could literally smell the ocean in every bite. It was incredibly fresh, made to order, and you could taste the care put into it. I haven’t had sushi that good in years.

Very nice service. Sushi dishes are very great. Fresh ingredients and nice plating. One thing was we ordered the ramen twice. The first bowl tasted good but the second was too salty and the noodle was not chewy. It didn’t bother too much overall. I like the cream soda very much. Highly recommended!!

I’ll keep this short. Great Japanese restaurant. Brought back a lot of memories from college days. Good ramen, fresh sushi and sashimi. Service is great
Nghia V — Google review
A restaurant with downstairs grocery (?) and take-out (prepared, food) store. Had sashimi silver plate, which came with miso soup which was deeper taste but well-balanced than typical. In fact, I expected good quality food based on the miso soup done well indicates the level of care and thoughts of a place. As expected, sashimi was in general quite good especially the Hamachi (yellowtail). The size of the pieces were relatively smaller than typical - likely because the restaurant seemed to follow more traditionally Japanese style with minimal influence from local propensities, i.e., providing large or larger amount of order by other Janpanese and non-Japanese and non-Japanese restaurants. Even the decore (with partitioning betwwen adjacent tables) reminded of the privacy-oriented decore seen in Japan. Service was also "attentive without being intrusive," again representing the culture of Japan. It was an interesting experience overall though I was a,bit startled at the start of the main as a uninvited guest (fruit fly) flew out of the shredded radish below the tuna. Fortunately, I captured it before it contaminated the fish. Overall 4 stars as I would have been happier with a bit larger pieces of fish.

For what you pay, the portions are fantastic! Nonetheless, I found the food lacking flavor and the interior too cramped. It is a good place for a quick bite, though, and the next-door grocery store sounds nice to visit as well.

Delicious Japanese food in a lively, authentic Izakaya atmosphere. Food came out fast, hot and super tasty. Everything was fantastic. The staff also provided efficient and prompt service. The place does not do reservations, but I had a large 11-person party so I was able to email the owners and get a reservation. Thank you so much!

Five out of five experience! You guys have to try this place. The sushi was incredible ( we only ordered the special ones and all of them were great). Pricing is really spot on when it comes to this place. Service was amazing, waiters were always really aware of their surroundings, really nice and polite. They know their menu so were able to give out nice recommendations which I always ask and appreciate . They also let us made some changes to the rolls because my boyfriend does not eat cream cheese or spicy foods and were really nice about it ( PLUS). I really liked the place, nice and cozy. Feels kind of authentic even. Probably your going to wait to be seated because the place is small but it went by fast for us. Don’t really remember the name of the rolls but I know they were all the special ones So definetly order those, also the tokoyakis are AMAZING!!! Don’t hesitate to go

Hotto Hotto Ramen & Teppanyaki is a neighborhood spot that offers an adventurous selection of 15 ramen options, including unique dishes like the Zha Jiang with minced chicken and a soft-boiled egg in black bean sauce. The restaurant also serves Asian-style beer crafted by brewmaster Andy Tan. In addition to gourmet ramen and teppanyaki, the menu features home-cooked options made from scratch.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is great and the staff are so nice and thought of every small detail. The spicy chicken miso was very good. The Hotto tonkotsu was good, the pork slices were great. I added a little chili oil to spice it up. I would look forward to trying the others and some of the apps. Very nice patio as well!

Unfortunately this restaurant was one of the biggest disappointments. Food wasn’t very good and service was friendly but not quick. Our spicy chicken karaage didn’t taste very “made from scratch” at all - tasted like frozen packaged karaage that was drowned in a sweet spicy sauce. Too salty for our taste but was probably the best thing we had today. Hotto tonkotsu ramen noodles were overcooked (more about this later) with a very bland flavor and not plated with any care at all. Where was the garlic tare we see in pictures? The roasted seaweed was completely soggy when we got the ramen as well. Omurice - well, at least the rice was half decent. The egg had a few crunchy bits which I assume were egg shells. The “spicy mayo” didn’t taste like spicy mayo at all, more of a sweet yuzu jam. The plates we were given for our appetizers had black dusty bits all over it which put us off as well. We also witnessed a waitress peeling eggs while eating her food and coughing using her personal phone (no gloves or hand washing in between). This put us off big time. We witnessed my wife’s ramen being ready and sitting under a hot lamp for 5 minutes until my omurice was ready which lead to overcooked noodles and soggy seaweed. We took a few bites of our mains and took it home (unfortunately we won’t be eating them). Hopefully this is a one-off experience for us and everyone else has better experiences here.

This place and especially the food is always great and really yummy. We had Ramen soup and a fried rice, they make delicious cocktails too that you can sip outside at the bar or at your table. The staff is very friendly and nice. When you go there you definitely have to try their Ramen soups. The portions are huge so you can always take the rest home for a next day lunch.

Recommended by a friend, we decided to give it a try. Wow! The bao buns were amazing. We also enjoyed pork potstickers and ramen. The spicy shaved ribeye ramen bowl was delicious. Our server, Dana helped us to make our first visit choices. The atmosphere is very artsy and upbeat. I highly recommend.

This is my first ever review because my wife and I absolutely loved this place and we’ll definitely be coming back. They were very accommodating to some allergies and the food was served very promptly. Really attentive and the service was truly great. I highly recommend the pork fried rice and the spicy thinly sliced ribeye (brothless) ramen. These pictures don’t do it justice!

The wife and i sporadically dropped in for a late night dinner. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Shout out to James! But overall the ramen impressed- I would recommend giving them a shot over Jinya or Okiboru. I’d put them on par with kintori- but Hotto certainly has its own American flare.
Conor D — Google review
Had dinner at the bar with a friend. It’s a great vibe especially when the weather is nice. We ordered the loaded fries which were delicious and I had the spicy vegan ramen which is one of the better ramen I’ve had in the city. Food and vibe were a solid 5 stars. However, the bartender that was serving us seemed distracted. It took a while for him to take our drink order and then he walked off and I got my drink about 15 minutes later. I got the hibiscus bloom and it was ok I wouldn’t order again. When he dropped our drinks off we he didn’t take our order even though we were ready so we sat for a while longer. I saw him off to the side on his phone and so my friend flagged him down to let him know we’re were ready. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was so good. This place could be awesome I think they should train their staff a little better on how to manage customers and orders a little better though.

E Ramen + is a contemporary, family-owned eatery located in the heart of midtown. The restaurant offers an extensive sake and cocktail menu to accompany their homemade ramen dishes.
Just got in town for business trip and was craving ramen. This was on my list so it was an easy choice. Ordered the seaweed salad and the dirty vegan. Both were excellent. Had a side of the Thai chili for the the dirty vegan, and highly recommend if you like a bit of heat that is flavorful and not fiery. Great service and highly recommend!

Really really good! Appetizers are so delicious, and I was too hungry when the ramen came, so forgot to take photos. But me and my friends had signature and dark knight, the texture of the broth was really good and dense.

Delicious! We tried four different Ramen dishes. The Miso Hot was my favorite. The combo of ground pork & pork shoulder was so good. All broths had their own distinct flavor profile. The texture of the noodles was ideal. Kids ate all the gyoza before I had a chance to try them. They ate way more Ramen than usual.

We ordered the Dark Knight and the signature ramen, and the food was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned.

Best. Ramen. Ever. The lobster ramen there is amazing. There's a reason it's won awards. You can taste the buttery goodness throughout the soup. I almost never eat all the broth, and I slurped every last drop. The deep fried edamama was amazing as well. The waiter/ bartender Chris was incredibly friendly. I hate eating alone on business trips, and he made it seem like I was with friends. I can't recommend this place enough. Dinner, appetizer, coke, tip was about $45. But I ordered the lobster, so...

Ginya Izakaya is a popular Japanese pub in Atlanta known for its tapas-style Japanese dishes and international fusion options. Located in west midtown Atlanta, this casual eatery offers an extensive menu featuring ramen, sushi, grilled meat skewers, and other small plates, complemented by a variety of sakes. The restaurant is praised for its reasonably priced ramen with generous portions, making it a great choice for budget-minded foodies.
For fans of fiction, passionate bookworms, and anime lovers alike, this restaurant is nothing short of a dream come to life. Imagine stepping into a scene ripped straight from your favorite anime—the kind where vibrant food glows with life and energy. From the moment I crossed the threshold, I felt like I’d been transported into the heart of an anime like Naruto. The ambiance, the details, the aromas—it all came together in a way that felt surreal. As I entered, the first thing that struck me was the smell. It wasn’t just food—it was an invitation. The rich, layered aromas danced in the air, wrapping around me and guiding me toward my seat as if I were under a delicious spell. The décor was equally captivating. The walls were a tapestry of nostalgia, adorned with signed memorabilia, iconic images, and collectibles displayed in pristine glass cases. Everywhere you looked, there was something to marvel at—pieces of culture that told stories of the past while celebrating the present. The restaurant also boasts a fully stocked bar, blending American classics with Japanese staples. Whether you’re into cocktails, sake, or just trying something new, the bar offers a little of everything. Even as someone who doesn’t drink often, I could appreciate the variety and the artistry behind the offerings. I wasn’t alone on this adventure—I brought along a group of friends and my girlfriend. As it was our first visit, we collectively decided to go big and order a little bit of everything. Our table soon became a smorgasbord of incredible dishes: Rainbow Roll Sushi, Tonkatsu, Takoyaki, Taiyaki, Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Chicken Karaage. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of seafood, so there was one dish I didn’t enjoy as much as the others. However, I could tell it was impeccably fresh and skillfully prepared. For anyone who loves seafood, this place would be absolute heaven. The other dishes, especially the fried items, were phenomenal. Everything was fried to golden perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and never overly greasy. The Green Tea Tempura Ice Cream was the star of the show, a perfect blend of creamy sweetness and delicate green tea flavor that left me craving more. The service here deserves a spotlight of its own. Every staff member exuded warmth and attentiveness. Even those not assigned to our table would stop by to ask if we needed anything or to check if we were enjoying ourselves. Their camaraderie and teamwork were inspiring—it was clear they took pride in their work and genuinely cared about every guest’s experience. The restaurant was buzzing with activity, yet the energy was uplifting rather than chaotic. Thanks to our online reservation, we were seated quickly despite the packed house. It’s no wonder this place draws such a crowd—it’s a sensory overload in the best possible way. What truly stood out to me was how this place managed to exceed expectations in every way imaginable. It’s rare to find a restaurant that nails every detail, from food to atmosphere to service, but this one did it effortlessly. It set a new standard for what dining should be: not just a meal but an immersive experience that engages all the senses. If you’re an anime fan, a lover of rich flavors, or someone who simply appreciates excellent service and vibrant culture, you owe it to yourself to visit this place. And even if anime isn’t your thing, don’t let that stop you—the food alone is worth the trip. Don’t just walk here—run, fly, teleport if you have to. This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an adventure. One I’d gladly embark on again and again, a million times over.

Embodies the essence of an Izakaya. The food is prepared with love and is all the more delicious for it. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual. The service is quick and attentive. Prices are fair. The star of the show is the extensive menu and in true Japanese style it has pictures. Would definitely visit again and again.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Atlanta, if not my favorite. Excellent sushi, ramen, curry, and an array of other items. Pricing is on par with other Japanese restaurants but quality and flavor has been consistently better. I’ve visited maybe 6 or so times and have never had a bad meal. :)

This place is authentic with high quality food!!! I only rate restaurants based on their food, this doesn’t mean their service is not good. Honestly this is a 10/10 restaurant from all aspects. We ordered sashimi plate, uni, agedashi tofu, and j bbq mix. All of them are really good. Fish is high quality and fresh, worth the price. Uni is imported from Japan, sweet, smooth, and delicious. Definitely not like some low quality uni you get from some restaurants that is bitter. They have a large menu with a wide selection of Japanese food ranging from small bites, salads, sashimi, sushi, j bbq, and ramen. Would definitely come again to try all of them! I only remembered to take one pic, because foods are so good I couldn’t resist even a bit.

Momonoki is a Japanese restaurant and cafe located in a suburb of Atlanta, offering a variety of Japanese dishes such as ramen, poke bowls, katsu sandwiches, and small plates. The airy and contemporary space provides counter seating for a relaxed dining experience. In addition to its signature drinks and ramen options, Momonoki also features a brothless ramen choice for hot days.
Such a fun place! Very hip and trendy with indoor and outdoor seating. Digital menu (scan on your phone via QR code). Paid street parking and also a paid parking garage. The BEST croissants you’ve ever eaten. Fun drinks. Excellent Ramen. Great Sando! The service is wonderful. A lot of the dishes are made fresh to order so leave some extra time…it’s not super quick but definitely worth the wait! A little on the pricey side, but again, great quality food and worth it!

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Momonoki! This place has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and I've returned several times because it consistently delivers on both food and ambiance. The brown sugar latte was delicious, and I highly recommend trying their sesame latte - it has this amazing balance of savory and sweet that keeps you coming back for more. Their drink menu offers unique flavors you won't easily find at other coffee shops. Good Lord, the desserts here are incredible! I tried what I believe was a crème brûlée croissant, and it was absolutely satisfying. If you have a sweet tooth, their dessert selection is lovely with such unique varieties that are hard to find elsewhere. But Momonoki isn't just about coffee and sweets - they also serve substantial meals. Their lunch menu includes options like teriyaki and ramen, offering very filling and satisfying dishes. It's rare to find a coffee shop that successfully pulls off this dual concept of café and restaurant. The layout is fantastic with two floors, giving you plenty of options for where to sit and study. They also have a beautiful covered outdoor area, so whether you prefer inside, outside, or upstairs, there's a perfect spot for you. How many coffee shops can offer that kind of variety? The space is filled with natural lighting and offers a variety of seating options. I particularly love being able to study outside in beautiful weather while still having the comfort of being covered. The wheelchair accessibility is also a great feature that makes this space welcoming to everyone. Parking was easy - plenty of options both on the street and in nearby garages. This might have been because of the time we visited (it's located in a college area), but it was convenient nonetheless. Overall, this is an ideal spot for college students, professionals meeting with colleagues, or friends looking to enjoy great food in a wonderful atmosphere. The professional setup and variety of spaces make it work for studying, casual meetings, or just relaxing. Momonoki truly goes for the "double kill" - excellent coffee shop vibes combined with quality restaurant offerings. The unique drink and dessert selection, substantial food options, flexible seating arrangements, and welcoming atmosphere make this a standout spot in Atlanta. I keep coming back, and I'm sure you will too!

A huge disappointment for me. This is the first spot I visited when I finally came back to Atlanta after 7 years. I missed the tsukemen so much but it turned out the noodles all broken, mushy and chucky (in the picture). The flavor for the dipping sauce also changed a lot. Really can't describe how much disappointed I am now.

I am disappointed to write this review. Came here very excited due to high reviews. Ordered with provided QR code on table and had to pay and tip ahead of time. Friend #1 waited about 10 minutes. Friend #2 waited 35 minutes for the same chicken sandwich. I, on the other hand, waited 50 minutes for a salmon bowl which they proceeded to bring me the wrong dish (miso ramen bowl). After that it took about 8 more minutes to get my salmon bowl. Food was okay but not worth that wait time. If I hadn’t paid prior to ordering, I 100% would’ve walked out. On a positive note, the manager at least gave us a free pastry and offered a discount. Blamed the slow service on new servers despite ordering online.

I recently visited Momonoki | Momo Cafe with the hopes of getting some work done while trying something new, and it certainly did not disappoint. Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful pastries and the impressive drinks the barista was skillfully preparing. Depending on the time of day, it can get a little hectic, and there may be a bit of a wait for drinks, but I didn’t mind at all that day, especially since I was so intrigued by the unique beverages being crafted. The barista recommended a delightful combination of matcha and YUZU, paired with a matcha cookie (*chef’s kiss*). It was absolutely delicious! Afterward, I decided to head upstairs to do some work, where I was treated to a fantastic view of the highway. The upstairs area has limited seating, so I’d recommend arriving early if you want a spot. However, I did experience a bit of disappointment when I got upstairs, as the area wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped. I understand that this space can sometimes be neglected due to the rush of people downstairs waiting for a table, but after mentioning this to a staff member, she promptly took action to tidy up. Her effort to ensure everything was in order made a big difference, and she continued to check on us throughout our visit, bringing water and keeping the space neat. Despite the initial setback, the attentive service and the fantastic food and drinks made it a great experience overall. I'll definitely be returning!

Strawberry croissant with cream filling is soooo good. Will come again for this! The matcha croissant and choco citrus croissant are good as well. Black sesame latte is not sweet. They have outdoor sits with music. Very organized and tidy setup.
Fiona Z — Google review
it's a combo ramen/ coffee shop separated by a partition. they stay you in the ramen side and you order via QR code and pay that way too, which makes it easy to get on and out fast. most of the seating is outdoors in a covered patio. indoors there are a lot of people working on their laptops, so they don't seem to care of you're there for awhile. the ramen was good but it's served with "wavy noodles" which I'm used to only seeing in dried packs of ramen, so I'm not sure if the noodles are actually made in house. I prefer the shops with the choice of thick or thin noodles, the wavy also makes it hard to "slurp" the noodles because the broth gets everywhere from the range pattern. while I didn't ask for more broth, since the menu is a scan and pay, I imagine it's not something they do (additional noodles or broth). the ramen had good flavor, and I was able to order a coffee from the coffee shop at the table so that was nice that it's not separate from the restaurant menu. it liked like the coffee shop was super busy when I arrived and left. Ramen and a coffee were over $35 (incl 20% tip) they had a number of other dishes that aren't ramen I wanted to try, and would come back to try those, but I'd likely go somewhere else for ramen that has more options for noodles.
Bunny A — Google review
I tried the Strawberry Cream Croissant at Momo Cafe. It tasted old and a bit over-baked, which was disappointing. Also, paying over $9 for one croissant was wild. The staff were polite but not very friendly—no chit-chat, just business. On a positive note: next door, Momonoki serves up a tasty Chicken Katsu Sando (but that too was a bit overpriced).

Hajime is a spacious restaurant that offers various traditional ramen styles and Japanese small plates. The menu includes shoyu-style ramen with different levels of spiciness, as well as appetizers like rice balls and California rolls. The restaurant, known for its delicious tonkotsu broth and house-made noodles, has become a popular spot for ramen enthusiasts. Customers have praised the friendly service and affordable prices, with particular recommendations for the savory tonkatsu and seafood ramen dishes.
I came here based on the recommendation of a friend and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised. I got the Tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious. The broth was flavorful and probably one of the best broths I’ve tasted in a very long time. I would absolutely recommend trying this place. I came when it wasn’t very busy as all and received great service from the waitress. It definitely feels like a place that you could bring the family, a date, or just treat yourself to a solo date.

Atlanta's Hidden Gem for Ramen Lovers If you’re on the hunt for the best ramen in Atlanta, look no further than Hajime. As a long-time fan of Umaido in Suwannee since 2009, I was thrilled to discover that these two culinary hotspots share the same roots—same delicious offerings, just a new name. Hajime does ramen right, especially if you’re a fan of a spicy kick. Their spicy noodles are hands-down the best I’ve encountered anywhere; the depth of flavor is a revelation. What sets them apart? They proudly craft their own noodles and broth, elevating the experience to another level. I had the chance to chat with the chef while he was lovingly preparing the pork belly—he kept the cooking time under wraps for secret recipe reasons, but trust me, it’s worth the culinary mystery. This pork belly is pure decadence, melting in your mouth with each bite. Unlike many mainstream franchises, the broth here doesn’t slam your taste buds with MSG. Instead, it’s a harmonious blend that won’t leave you feeling bloated. And let’s not forget their impressive drink selection—perfect for a casual evening or a special date night! With Hajime’s convenient location, I’m excited to make this my go-to spot with my partner. If you’re in the area, do your palate a favor and dive into this ramen experience. You won’t regret it.

The service was fantastic - my server was so nice and answered questions. The food presentation was beautiful as my pictures show - I was very excited to try this out. The ramen was really, not great! I got the seafood ramen, extra spicy. It was quite spicy but the seafood was poor. The squid had almost no flavor, the shrimp was either poor quality or refrozen too many times as, while it was cooked, it was translucent. The only flavor in the dish was the spice. Again - great service and presentation - but the flavor was missing - completely. Now - the Shrimp buns were really good. Crispy, freshly prepared, great flavor - but - quite saucy. Dial back the sauce a bit, it shouldn’t be dripping out completely. Perhaps I picked a bad day, but for the price, I expected more flavor!

Hajime is always a cozy and welcoming Ramen spot. Love coming here for birthday dinners or just because. Adding rich broth and making the ramen spicy (if you're into that) is always a good decision. Pictured is the Kani salad, homemade Kimchi ($1!!), and both Tonkotsu ramen, one with spice level 3. I'm not gluten free, but I enjoy their kale noodles, as well. 😊

Nestled in the Toco Hill Shopping Center, PaoPao Ramen Factory & BoBa is a culinary gem that brings authentic Asian flavors to your plate without straining your wallet. This vibrant eatery offers an impressive selection of ramen, including both mild and spicy options like tonkotsu, miso, dan dan, curry, and even vegetarian varieties. Each bowl features chewy homemade noodles swimming in rich broths that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
I had a great experience at Poa Poa Ramen! The broth was amazing—rich and flavorful—and I really appreciated the variety of vegan and vegetarian options. I tried the kale noodles, and they were surprisingly delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I ordered the K-Pop bowl (without tofu and with added mushrooms), and it did not disappoint. The veggie egg rolls were also tasty and crisp. On top of the great food, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I loved the art on the walls—it really added to the vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

This place was awesome! The Ramen was perfect, flavors, broth, ingredients, everything! I got the angry pao pao. Then I tried the tempura jumbo shrimp, they were super crunchy on the outside, nice and plump inside, and the sauce that goes on it is insanely good especially with the shaved carrots on the side. I also tried the bulgogi bao bun. I didn't care for the bun itself, it kind of smelled and tasted like phŏ noodles, but the beef bulgogi inside was tk die for! The mango bubble tea was something I wouldn't get again since it tasted, to me, like pepto bismol...flavor and texture...with a mango aftertaste. I'm definitely coming back to this spot tho, I'm excited to try different Ramens and more of the apps. Enjoy!

Ramen Station, a popular spot in Atlanta, is known for serving some of the best ramen in the area. The restaurant's aesthetic is a blend of classic Tokyo ramen shops and 1950s American diner decor. It offers a variety of appetizers and snacks, including musubi varieties and steamed buns.
Great food and a great experience all together. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The establishment is clean and the staff was wonderful. I got the ramen set and decided to add an order of brussel sprouts and they did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Came here to pick up food after stumbling on the place while searching on UberEats. Saw they're under the umbrella of Suzy Siu's & Salary man, which we enjoy, so decided to give then a shop. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen & the Japanese Fried Chicken. Everything was good, but the service seemed a little inattentive, even for a to-go order. But I'd come back to try more.
Craig P — Google review
I was a little concerned after reading reviews and seeing some sketchy bowls of ramen... but I was pleasantly surprised by my order. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen - which is always my favorite. The pork was definitely not the correct kind (not spiral sliced pork belly) and it was all too expensive... but I very much enjoyed it. I ordered extra noodles but not extra broth, so I ended up with a noodle heavy bowl, but that's on me.
Queen T — Google review
I was very curious about this place and saw some good reviews (and photos) so decided to try - btw I make own ramen from scratch at home. In my humble opinion, ramen is 60% broth (and sauce), 30% noodles and 10% toppings. That being said, noodles and toppings were excellent with Tonkotsu Ramen that I ordered - straight and thin noodles that you’re supposed to use for Tonkotsu Ramen, Chashu was very tender and tasty and Aji Tamago were cooked and marinated perfectly. But the broth…. It doesn’t taste bad but it seems pretty obvious that after they cooked Tonkotsu broth they thinned it out with water and added pretty good amount of MSG to compensate for it (cost cutting) - after eating half of the soup it made my tongue little numb. It’s a good looking Ramen bowl. I hope they’ll improve on their broth.
Tokyo M — Google review
The Tonkotsu ramen was decent. The broth had a good flavor, but was a little salty. The noodles were good in comparison to many ramen places, and the portion was large. I thought the pork bao was very tasty, and a also a good size. I will definitely go back again, as it is very convenient for me. I can't wait to try the brussel sprouts. Also, the ambiance of the restaurant is neat. I like the Japanese themed movie posters as the table markers. However, I sat at the bar, and the seats were not very comfortable.

Ramen is such a great meal on a rainy day. My friends and I decided to stop in during our workday. I ordered the battle Royale rice ball. My friends ordered the Mega Tonkotsu Ramen, spicy Tonkotsu and the regular Tonkotsu. Everybody finished their meal and was very happy with it. We were very happy that we stop by here for lunch. The staff is very nice. It wasn’t super busy when we came in so we were able to find a table and relax and the food came out quickly. If you haven’t tried the spot yet definitely give it a try. It is a great lunch or dinner option.

Had the Crab and Shrimp Rice bowl, Gyoza, Chicken Teriaki, Spicy Beef Ramen and the Kids Pork Ramen. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Price was as expected and typical for other dedicated Ramen places I have visited in Atlanta and other cities. Bonus treat that the kids meal was complimentary because there was a special Mondays-Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm. Only issue was that the restaurant was sweltering. A couple of our dishes were spicy and the hot interior of the restaurant was pretty uncomfortable. Would definitely visit again, but maybe in a cooler time of the year. Yum!

Pijiu Belly is a small hip spot in West Midtown that offers a fusion of Southern and Asian cuisines, along with an impressive selection of local beers. The restaurant was founded by Lili and Lenny Shou, who aimed to blend an English gastropub atmosphere with the flavors of their Korean-Chinese heritage. The menu features dishes like Korean roast chicken and unique ramen options such as Spicy Bulgogi and Spicy Dumpling.
I had the Ramon that had the rice as well with chicken boiled egg and veggies! I forgot the name of the dish but it was amazing!!! 10/10 recommend!! In my opinion I don’t see how everyone wouldn’t LOVE everything about the restaurant! The atmosphere is super cool and the staff are very friendly! The egg rolls were out of this world and blew my mind at how tasty they were! I ate until my stomach hurt!! You won’t regret going to this restaurant! I have been here twice now and simply love it! Sat at the bar where our server/bartender was awesome, said hey and took our drink order immediately. When it came to the food we had the crispy pork belly bites and Taiwanese Nuggets, there we delicious, cooked perfect. Lightly breaded giving that little crunch. The jalapeno-mayo dipping sauce was was perfect, I would've like it more if it had a bit more kick to it. For entree's we ordered the half Korean Tong Dak chicken and Scallion Pancake with sides of Asian Jalapeno Coleslaw and Mu. All of the dishes were full of great flavors. Not too spicy, just right in every bite. The chicken was roasted perfectly with a nice crispy skin and perfect moist meet on the inside, one minute less or more and the chicken would have been raw or dry. The dish needs some kind of dipping sauce for it. Like a duck sauce or something similar. The pancake was less desirable, the pancake itself was too thick and too chewy, literally had to pull it and rip it with my teeth. The taste was great but the pancake has to go. I would do it thinner and a bit more of a crisp on it and serve it with the roasted chicken with some duck sauce - make your own chicken wraps. Loved both the Asian slaw and Mu, they added the acid needed to cut through all the spices and great flavors. Parking is very limited, very. Come early, later or walk. Would I come here again? YEP, been here twice now. Love it!

The waiter not only forgot my husbands drink order and dinner order, he never realized he forgot it in the first place. We had to remind him of the food order and asked him to cancel it after waiting for 20min while we ate my dinner. For it being slow, there should not have been a reason for forgetting 2 out of 5 items that we ordered. The chicken egg rolls were very good but the dipping sauce didn’t complement the egg rolls. The whole rotisserie chicken in Gochujang sauce with Garlic Soy was more sweet than savory. The portion was definitely enough to feed 3-4 people.
Jayna P — Google review
Firstly: the lot adjacent to the restaurant is very limited. Parking was a hassle. We were seated immediately but we waited approximately 25 minutes without a server coming to greet us. Once we were able to get the attention of one server, he treated us very kindly and was very apologetic. He got our orders and food came out reasonable quickly after the order was placed. The place was busy so we understand the slow service but I have to give 2 stars because the food was very lackluster. The place is great if you're there to grab beers and nibble on a snack to the side but if you're wanting a full Asian fusion meal, you're way better off going to somewhere on BuHi or Duluth/Suwanee. The food wasn't bad just didn't justify the price and the long wait we had to endure. Crispy pork belly was the worst of the appetizers that the table split. It was just chunks of fat battered and deep fried, hardly any meat.
D. O — Google review
As soon as we walked in the door we were met with quick, attentive, and highly professional service. It was so good that it left an impression! The food was out of this world. We got the crispy pork belly, the poutine, and the pork belly and rice bowl. Nothing was spicy which I had been wary of. Instead everything was sweet, savory and surprisingly light and well balanced (okay poutine aside because gravy and cheese curds can’t be light). I would absolutely go back and eat my way across this menu!

The menu features a variety of noodle options, from delicate hand-stretched noodles perfect for soups to thicker, knife-cut noodles ideal for stir-fries.

We stopped in on a Sunday evening and the place was busy. We had high hopes for this spot but were unfortunately disappointed. We ordered the Beef Tendon Pulled Noodle Soup and the Roast Duck with Rice—both dishes arrived lukewarm, lacking flavor, and were very sparse on meat. The broth and seasoning were bland, and it felt like the dishes were prepared without much care. On a more positive note, the fried pot sticker dumplings were delicious—crispy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. That was the highlight of our meal. The staff was friendly and the dinning area was clean. Overall, we left feeling let down, especially considering how excited we were to try this place.

I had a late lunch there and I was surprised at how many people were coming in and going out past 2 PM. That right there tells you there’s something great going on and didn’t take long for me to find out what it was service was great and they were fast. We started with some fried greens and dumplings and man I was blown away. The green beans were crisp and juicy, just perfect. Then we tried a couple different entrees, and I went for the house specialty with fried pulled noodles and chicken, and it was amazing. It is also not expensive, less than 20 bucks per person and my favorite, Jasmine tea to drink.

There's plenty of parking space in front of the restaurant, the service was courteous. I ordered Beef tripe noodle and my wife ordered house special noodle. My noodle and soup was okay, but beef, tripe and tendon was hard to chew, I'm very disappointed. BTW, I lived in Lanzhou for almost 20 years, I know what authentic Lanzhou beef noodle tastes like, I would rate the noodle far from authentic or poor imitation. My wife's house special noodle was very salty, she could not stand.

Eight Sushi Lounge is a modern Japanese restaurant located in West Midtown, Atlanta. The restaurant offers creative and contemporary Japanese cuisine with a touch of Western flavors. The sleek and trendy ambiance makes it an ideal spot for a chic date night or a casual dining experience on the patio.
This place has been on my list for over 2 years, and Im happy we were able to try it out. The sushi was amazing. I had the Casanova roll and my bf had the Island roll. We also tried the shrimp appetizer and the miso soup. The drinks were good as well. We would love to return!

We've heard a lot about Eight Sushi, so we couldn't help but have high expectations going in. Staff was welcoming and helpful with explaining the dishes. The drinks were great. The food presentation was beautiful. We really enjoyed the "Rice to Meet You" chef's choice nirgiri. Some of the pieces just melted in our mouths-- divine. A couple of rolls were a bit too sweet for us. The seafood tasted like it was high quality, but we couldn't help questioning the hefty price tag. It's high-end sushi, but the experience is more on the casual side.

I absolutely love this place. I heard great things about it and they did not disappoint. My favorite was the tuna crisp which is absolutely a must try. The Island roll was chefs kiss. The lounge area was a vibe. Chris runs the bar and took great care of us and the drinks were amazing. He’s a cool dude to talk to. Going to try Thursday night for girls night for the drinks in the lounge area. All in all this place is a must try!! 10/10!!!

4.5/5. First visit & very impressed This was my first time dining at Eight Sushi Lounge and I was genuinely impressed. The environment, innovation, and quality all stand out in a big way. Service lagged a bit, and I do think truffle is slightly overplayed on a few dishes + across the menu, but overall the experience was fantastic - I’ll definitely be back! There’s also a separate moody lounge to the left when you walk in, perfect for cocktails before or after dinner. Loved that touch. Standouts • Kampachi Serrano – Super fresh and unique. Baby yellowtail with cilantro and a ponzu slushy… such a fun, bright bite & idea • Tuna Crisp – A must. Slivers of tuna on a crisp with just the right amount of truffle oil… and I’m usually not a truffle girl • Eggs Benedict – Slide it down the hatch for an instant punch of flavor. Absolutely loved this one • Orange Is the New Black – Simple salmon in cilantro oil. Clean, fresh, fantastic • Rolls & Nigiri Tasting – No clue everything I tried because it was a large tasting, but everything was excellent. The walu nigiri was my favorite. • Miso Seabass – Always a home run, but I appreciate that it actually comes with sides (veggies + grilled rice patty) instead of being served solo like other sushi spots for the same ~$40 price • Miso Steak – Tender, flavorful The “Still Good” List • Monroe Tuna – Their take on crispy rice with spicy tuna. Delicious, but the truffle wasn’t necessary; I would’ve preferred to taste more of the tuna. I still prefer Umi or Houston’s version. • Green Bean Fries – Tempura green beans, fun to share. I do wish the menu offered healthier/lighter options for a sharable snack mid meal… like charred shishito peppers, eggplant or Japanese sweet potatoes, or even pickles veggie board • Gyoza – Solid. • Chicken Teriyaki – Juicy and flavorful, good for non-sushi eaters. Overall, Eight Sushi Lounge brings creativity, freshness, and a great vibe! I’ll absolutely be back.

Had an awesome mother/daughter dinner date on a Thursday afternoon. We sat on the patio and everything was excellent, the service, the ambiance and the sushi, sea bass, & drinks 10 out of 10! Definitely a great date spot, may need reservations at busier times.

I have only been here once so far, but this place was phenomenal. Every single thing we tried was amazing and service was great. If my wallet and distance to get there were different then I would go as often as possible and try every single thing on the menu, but such is life. Highly recommend this place, I’m excited to go back when I get the chance to!
Victoria L — Google review
The sushi here is incredible, it’s definitely one of the top sushi spots in the city in terms of food. I’m telling you the sea bass was the best thing I ate, the rice and vegetables were cooked perfectly and went well with the fish, no need for fork and knife because the fish cuts like butter and taste insane. Followed by “The Monroe”(tuna crispy rice) which we ended up getting three orders of because it was so good. Matcha margarita is great twist, and the dessert was delicious too, cheesecake was very rich if you’re into that, but the apple pie was class, that little muffin top was sensational.(check video for reference) The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly more casual than I would’ve thought. Low-key but nice as well, at the corner of Brady Avenue and 8th Street. Has outdoor seating accommodations and a pretty big bar. The indoor dining area isn’t massive, but there is plenty of space and the tables are not too on top of each other. I’ve always heard good things about this place, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It can be hard to get a reservation here at a good time because it is very popular but we showed up slightly early for our reservation and they still seated us right away. Overall great experience, will definitely be back again! Not a lot of street parking, but there is a garage and they have valet parking. They have a cool after hours lounge next door called “after eight”

Izakaya restaurant
Brush Sushi Izakaya is a high-end Japanese restaurant located in downtown Decatur, offering a modern take on traditional cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on its simplicity and elevating flavors, evident in dishes like the Duck Shoyu ramen with chicken and duck broth, seared miso duck chashu, bamboo shoot, scallion, and yuzu kosho.
It was very good sushi. My complaint was with the pairing. Was told that would be 5 to 6 pairings but was only offered 4... Those also seemed to not match with the pairs and almost seemed as an after thought. Reviews also discussed that sushi was a masterpiece to look at. During the omasake the presentation was as expected and nothing unusual. The sushi itself was very good though.

Brush is a sushi restaurant, and it is amazingly great. We normally get the Chef special and each bite is amazing. Prepared fresh and explained by the master sushi chef, it is well worth it. Great sake selection and upscale decor. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend for a treat.

We came here for a brunch. Very fresh nigiri and chirashi don. Presentation was top notch. Ramen broth was very tasty and noodles texture was just right. However, chicken meat was really salty. Kushikatsu was crunch but not overwhelming with the breading. Service was great but pretty slow. Price is little too high for the quality. Although I had better quality Japanese dishes before from other places this place has its own beauty. If you want to try out Izakaya style food this place is definitely one of the better places.

High-quality, fresh, meticulously prepared food - some of the best tasting fish I have ever tried. Great service and atmosphere. Bit pricey but after sampling some of the other sushi places in the Atlanta area, my wife and I always return to Brush.

Favorite spot for sushi in atlanta, everything was delicious. Had the tasting menu (izakaya) and it was so good. We went on a weeknight so it was very cheap. Only downside was it wasn't too much food but it was still very much worth it. The sushi chefs explained each course and where they were sourced from (pretty much everything was flown in from japan). The tamago (egg) was amazing. We also had some sides like the rice bowl and some dumplings which were also great. Great selection of sake and the mixed drinks were great too. Highly recommended

Updating my ratings to five Star. My friends and I came here for the 20-course omakase meal. I have tried this culinary delight in many cities and multiple countries. Brush Sushi Izakaya did not disappoint. We were impressed with the fresh wasabi made straight from the root in front of you. I especially like the cold seared sushi. The coal gave it a taste contrast that just burst in your mouth. One of my friends love the squid, which we received several parts of a squid from the same hose squid. Another friend liked the perch. Everyone enjoyed the light dessert at the end. Jason, our chef tonight, was highly skilled and kind and modest. The waitress, Jenna, was awesome and she explained each of the dish to us. If I could make two suggestions for improvement. The first would be the speed of the dishes coming out. At several moments, especially the beginning, we felt rushed. I would have preferred to have been able to smell the fish, slowly consume it and then talk about it as a group without the next dish already being pushed upon us. The other feedback would be to not pair the caviar and tobiko together. Those two fish eggs ideas fought for the attention of your taste buds without quite complimenting each other. I've included pictures, but it may be separate from this post as this is my second review for this restaurant. ---- February 2022: The negiri was excellent. I especially liked the scallop which was fresh, generous and tasty. The duck bao was good in that the duck meat was tender and delicious and generous also, but the bun was chewy rather than fluffy. The salmon citrus roll is poorly executed as the citron overpowered the taste of everything else. The service was friendly and responsive.
Minh H — Google review
This place is on par with Umi for the best upscale sushi in Atlanta. You won’t find crunch rolls or other Americanized items here. Expect the highest quality fish and expect to pay for it. Amazing service as well.
Duncan M — Google review
Good drinks, starters, and side dishes. The ramen was decent, but not great. The broth, noodles, and meat were all good, but nothing special. I did think it was much better the second time than the first time I had it. I really enjoyed the tuna tartare the first time I came here. The lotus root chips were a great contrast with the tartare. The second time I thought that the tuna poke was the appetizer winner. The texture and taste of the sauce were both great. The presentation of the gyoza was better than the taste. They were a little soggy and not very flavorful. The pork belly skewers were tasty. They had good flavor. The service was good the first time, and excellent the second time. Our waitress was very personable and made some great suggestions. I do not care for sushi, so I cannot fairly judge that. My friend thought it was excellent. I also really enjoyed my cocktails both times. The first time I had a spin-off of an old fashioned. The second time I ordered off the menu and had a French 75. It was well-made. And yes, they do have a special soy sauce mixture in a bottle. I have seen some reviews that did not appreciate the spray bottle. Our waitress explained that they sauce was very time consuming to make, and that the spray bottle helps control the amount you use. Thus, you can use as much sauce as you like without losing the flavor of the food.

Shoya Izakaya is a classic Japanese restaurant located in Doraville's Peachtree Pavilion Shopping Center. It has been a long-standing favorite among Atlanta's food enthusiasts, offering hospitable service and a warm ambiance. The restaurant stays true to its meaning as an Izakaya, providing an ideal spot for late-night treats with its doors open until 11:30 pm. The menu features a variety of options including sushi, kushiyaki, noodles, sake, and shochu.
My friend and I feasted here and didn't break the bank. The menu is very extensive and we had a hard time deciding what to get! With the help of the server and pictures on the menu and we were able to find a good line up of items to try. We had the Pirikara Kyuri (Spicy Cucumber), Special Yakisoba (potato, egg, & noodles), 5 skewer set (with chicken), Wanton cheese Age, takoyaki, & salmon skin roll. With Aka Kiri & green tea for beverages. We beat the dinner rush by coming right when they opened but this place became busy very quickly. The service was fast and friendly. I loved sitting on the second level overlooking the rest of the restaurant. My next goal is to come here with more people so we can all try more items on the menu!

This Japanese Izakaya chain in GA can be a bit chaotic with seating during each visit, which I'm not a huge fan of. It's always busy, so if you want to avoid waiting, it's best to arrive right when they open. On our first visit, I thought the food was outstanding, but over time and after several visits, I feel like the quality has dropped slightly. I used to love their karaage—it was always juicy with a crispy exterior—but this time it clearly seemed pre-cooked and had been sitting for a while. The sushi menu is pretty standard but decent. My all-time favorite is the Tamago with unagi. One disappointing moment was when they said they don’t make their own Shime-saba. However, it tasted good and didn’t taste like it was frozen... oh well. Overall, it’s still a good experience.

I got to try multiple dishes and loved them all! All of the skewers were hot off the grill and cooked well. I ordered and recommend the shishito peppers, tako tsunomo, koebi karaage, grilled mackerel, and eggplant appetizer! Their taiyaki dessert was so delicious. I always try to eat here when I visit ATL, and I will be coming back! One of my favorite restaurants ever!

I'm sorry I can't remember what it was called in Japanese but it was pretty good and it was a reasonable price. It was about $14. It wasn't the best chicken bowl I've ever had, but it was good and I tried some of my friends sushi which was incredible. I also tried some eel as well which was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I think this place is definitely worth a try. If you love Japanese food, you can go in knowing that this is actually run by Japanese people.

Been coming here for years bc I used to love the portion of their nigiri. But during my latest visit, I have noticed the portion change :// sushi rice for nigiri shrunk about 50% and the size of salmon…was just sad! It was so much thinner than what they used to give you!! I know it’s been hard for everyone and most businesses, but I was still so bummed out that my favorite place has resorted to shrinkflation as mean to survive too 😭😭😭 I do notice tho the size of salmon have remain about the same if you order don or sashimi style as I looked through photos posted by other patrons. Tbh I don’t mind paying for more as long as the portions don’t change that much, but this was just really hard for me to accept 🥲 also my photos are taken about one year apart. Hope this was helpful for the patrons and the business

Easily the best Japanese restaurant in Georgia to me, brought my family and had an excellent experience, they loved all of the food, I’ve enjoyed going to Shoya for years, and I’ve never had a bad experience here. Tonkotsu black is the best in Georgia, the Tonpei Yaki has such great flavour and the Unagi Don is so flavourful. Will always recommend and always return to Shoya.

Excellent service, delicious food, the shop felt like eating with my Korean and Vietnamese friends growing up. Prices are very reasonable and everything we got was spot on 😎 wish I knew about this place earlier

I visits here regularly. Most of dishes were very good. Prices are reasonable. I always get either sushi or chirashi. Salmon roe with radish. Hamburger steak. Only one thing I don’t like is Asahi draft.. it doesn’t taste as other Japanese place. Strongly recommend👍👍

Nestled in Global Plaza, Kawa 18 Ramen is a must-visit for ramen enthusiasts on the south side of Atlanta. This charming eatery specializes in delicious bowls of tonkotsu, miso, and vegetable ramen that are sure to satisfy your cravings. The addition of refreshing bubble tea enhances the overall dining experience. Many patrons rave about their flavorful dishes, with some even reminiscing about authentic Japanese flavors like Karaage.
We just happen to come across this ramen spot in Forest Park. Mane, the ramen was amazing and we chose udon noodles! You know we topped it off with boba tea and that was delicious too. This was one of our first dinner dates so we got these niceeeee quality chopsticks to commemorate it! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Girl @ the front was nice & knowledgeable, i did expect much more from the food, it was my first time trying ramen & it didnt live up to my expectations. Ramen had a burnt oil taste which i believe was from the chicken. Wouldnt recommend
Desire M — Google review
The first time I ate here, the food was absolutely amazing— as you can see in the first picture everything was cooked to perfection. I would’ve given it a solid 10. But when I returned two weeks later, the experience was completely different. The food didn’t look or taste the same at all. Maybe there was a different cook that day, but I don’t like that kind of inconsistency. I expect the same quality every time I go. Oh and they mixed up our pork and chicken. Meaning the chicken broth had pork meat, and the pork broth had chicken meat To make things worse, a woman came in and ordered the same dish I did—I’m certain because I heard her say it. But her plate was packed with way more veggies and meat. She even went behind the counter and made her own food, which makes me wonder if she was a family member or a friend of the staff. Either way I give them a 6 out of 10 give it a try for yourself, you may like it!

Ramen was great. Not many options but flavorful. One thing i like about ramen is the spice level 11. This place seemed to only have spice level 6.

If you’re hungry for ramen, this is not the place to go. The food was not good, and the broth had a weird taste. They put un-breaded fried chicken in their noodle bowls, which is even more off putting. They also don’t let you swap out the veggies in the bowl. The restaurant atmosphere is decent. The customer service was meh, and the food is not good at all.
Justice G — Google review
Honestly wasn’t really good ramen. Got the black garlic ramen and it tasted burnt rather than what I’ve had before. The noodles were ok and broth flavor was meh. The shrimp spring rolls is what saved the day as they were really good and the music playlist playing.

Ramen was good but I felt like it needed more kick of flavor to it. The Karaage was legit, tasted just like how it was in Japan. Very cute restaurant, not baby friendly so if you don't have a carseat or your own baby seat for the table you're out of luck.

Hiro Ramen & Tea Bar in Atlanta, Georgia offers a unique ramen experience with the option to build your own bowl. The Thai milk tea and gyoza are delicious, and the chef cooks the ramen broth for 12 hours. The Volcano Ramen is bold and creamy with perfectly cooked noodles, although some found the pork to be thin. The Takoyaki is crispy on the outside and gooey inside, topped with dancing Bonito flakes.
Ordered the Volcano Ramen and Takoyaki. The Takoyaki was great, while it’s hard to mess up Takoyaki, these were just like I like them, hot, crispy exterior, gooey interior, and with dancing Benito flakes. The ramen broth was bold and creamy, the noodles were the perfect al dente, the egg was perfect with a barely runny yoke. Only complaint was the pork was Very thin; also the menu claimed it was 🌶️🌶️🌶️, but I had to add a good heap of chili oil to get some heat. Overall, best ramen I’ve had in a while. Will definitely be back!
Smile J — Google review
Our favorites dishes were the 2 starters, which got served last for some reason. The salmon roses & yellowtail carpaccio were off the chart. The 2 ramens were average, but the sliced pork was excellent - smoky, tasty, melt in your mouth. The volcano ramen was really spicy, beware. The black garlic ramen was garlicky, perfect. Noodle was on the soft side. I prefer chewy. The rice with sliced pork was very good, again the star is the pork. The 2 rolls, spider & shrimp tempura with grilled eel were average. Portions are large, especially the raw sliced fishes - thicker than most. Prices ok & the dinning area is misleading - 2 separate areas. Service was sufficient & friendly. Will definitely be back for more starters. Almost forgot, the mixed tempura was on the hard crunchy side. I prefer the light & crunchy with the flakes on the batter. Each place makes them differently.

Overall had a good experience. Our party of seven were seated immediately. Our servers were polite and nice. This is their second day of opening so there were some things that they couldn’t accommodate (ex. they didn’t serve any sushi, etc.). Chicken ramen was actually pretty good and so was their gyoza. I liked that it wasn’t overly fried like other places. Their piña colada smoothie was overly sweet to me but my kids enjoyed it. The chicken skewers was excellently seasoned. The edamame was unremarkable but decent. The noodles were tasty. The boba in the tea was a little hard and stale. Overall we all enjoyed our meals and would recommend that other patrons give it a try.

I went here for the first time and enjoyed my Black Garlic Tonkatsu ramen bowl. The veggies spring rolls were nothing special. They were also out of the Ginger Pork appetizer. (Apparently, there’s a lot of change happening here- especially on the menu. They are the new owners.) I’ll give it another few weeks before I come back but I will be back. HIGHS: Flavorful yummy broth, plated beautifully, tasty pork and veggies. I didn’t expect to like bamboo shoots in ramen as much I enjoyed it here. LOWS: Menu is changing so some items weren’t available, veggie spring rolls should’ve been cooked longer to ensure thorough crispness. NEXT TIME? Yes I’d eat here again and will consider the tea selection!

This was me and my husbands first time and we loved it!!!! I had a strawberry tea and added the peach bubbles to it. We also had the beef pot stickers, fried crispy California roll, and hibachi. Everything was really good! The servers English is very broken so be patient with them, they are nice people.

10/10! Everything we tried was delicious, and the eggs and pork belly were amazing. I especially liked the green tea. The ramen itself was very filling, and I liked the more classic pork broth on the Tonkotsu ramen as well as the seafood broth in the Tsukemen ramen. They also have a build-your-own option. The interior of the shop was very nice, and the waitresses were very kind. There’s a lot of parking in front of the shop as well. I can’t wait to come back and try the tea bar next door!

TL/DR: Anti-Blackness, inconsistent response to requests; bland food. Avoid if you can. Ok so- friend and I were really excited to try this place. Ordered 3 sushi plates, edemame, and hibachi. Edemame was decent. The California and firecracker roll were fine. The hibachi was not hibachi (see photo) , and the crispy bagel roll was nasty. We each ate a roll and left the rest on the plate. Now it’s not their fault we felt adventurous but when we politely asked for them to exchange it because we didn’t like the taste, the manager told us “we’re not a tasting restaurant” 😂 😂 Strangely, she agreed to take the hibachi off our tab but not the bagel roll. They wouldn’t come check on us after that so we had to walk to the register area and get our own to-go plates. We paid our tab and left. It looks like other reviews have touched on how the quality of the food and service has gone down and we wish we’d read through it before sitting down. Update: 😬 the manager’s response is….forceful. The way they respond to non Black customers who are dissatisfied or don’t respond at all is telling. It’s feeling a bit anti-black over here. Just to clarify, we had 3 sushi orders and only asked to exchange one. Even though they literally had just taken off the hibachi because it didn’t “suit our taste” they refused to exchange the bagel roll, so we *asked* - not demanded - for a refund. When they refused we paid and left the plate 90% uneaten. This place is not worth the headache.

This Walmart location leaves something to be desired. Compared to other locations, this one seems to be lacking in a lot of areas. The customer service from the staff definitely needs improvement. The overall behavior of the staff that is openly displayed for customers to see is unprofessional. I've heard employees curse and even make fun of customers behind their backs. The store seems to always need restocking and they are out of a lot of everyday items....all the time. The produce is sub-par most of the time and you have to dig to find something that is not wilting. There always seems to be staff all over the stores, yet the lines are so long without enough registers open to serve efficiently. Even the under 20 item line is long and the wait time is unreasonable. The consistency here is way off compared to other locations and really should be looked at by corporate.

If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot to indulge in some mouthwatering ramen, look no further than Yebisuya. This charming eatery offers an impressive array of ramen noodle soups, including standout tonkotsu options that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
Came here for lunch on a cold Black Friday. It was a very good choice. The ramen noodles were very delicious, large portions too & reasonable prices. I got the super sized ramen for $2 more with twice the meats & toppings. They also accommodated my request to switch the ramen noodle for soba noodle. The appetizers were tasty as well. 2 thumbs up for Japanese casual eats.

Food was pretty good but very spicy not your normal American spicy. This area of Japanese restaurants are all authentic and great customer service so warm and inviting. The ramen brother needed a little salt to help but for the price I am not complaining. If you are in the mood to try a new place check this place out

Yebisuya offers a delightful dining experience with some notable highs and a few areas for improvement. The ramen we ordered was delicious and flavorful, perfectly capturing the rich essence of traditional Japanese cuisine. However, the takoyaki was a bit disappointing, as it had only a small amount of octopus, and the rest was mostly batter. Despite this, the staff was very accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. The quality of service and the welcoming atmosphere make Yebisuya a great spot for enjoying a satisfying meal.

We came during a quiet time, after a tiny bit of confusion with our initial order, everything was wonderful. I got the spicy akuma red ramen (which comes on fire). It was good and spicy even on level 1! The onigiri were good as well, and my partner's yakisoba looked and tasted great as well!

First impression visit. Free parking lot. Pros Fast and friendly service! The sushi was excellent and the ramen was nice and flavorful! I appreciate the meat being grilled and seasoned instead of just thrown in the ramen without any attention to it. Noodles are fresh. Great sake and the rice bowl was good as well! Cons None that I could find! Would I Recommend: Yes! Definitely! Follow me here on Google Maps and @jessreviewss on Instagram for more. ✍️🏽

The banners and printed pictures by the foyer would suggest Yebisuya was known for its ramen, but don't stop there. There's plenty more on the multi-paged menu besides noodles, and I felt it a shame I couldn't try them all today. We shared a spider roll, which is a roll featuring deep-fried soft shelled crab. While the roll only came with six slices, each one was enormous and tasty. I ordered from the seasonal menu, which had a variety of cold soba dipping noodles. One of them came with a side of tempera vegetables (squash, sweet potato, shrimp) and I found the contrast of hot, crispy fritters with cold noodles a perfect fit for these twilight days of summer. My husband and I came for a weekend lunch and found the service excellent, even though there seemed to be a shortage of hands to bus plates. Our waiters and servers were on hand for anything we needed without any kind of awkward hovering. To note - food comes out as soon as the kitchen prepares them, which means entrees may arrive before shared appetizers. My own entree got to the table after my husband had already finished his meal. That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal so if you have any strong preferences about course timings, I'd mention that to the server. Highly recommend!

Additionally, the Truffle Garlic sauce stands out for its delicious and complex umami flavor that keeps customers coming back for more. Parking was a pain in this are, but they validate your ticket if you park in the appointed garage. It’s a short walk from the garage to the restaurant. There were only two staff members running the whole place, making drinks and cleaning as well, but they were friendly and nice. The food was just so-so. We had: - Tonkotsu: I substituted chicken for pork, but the chicken was very dry - Fried gyoza - Karaage chicken The food was just average, and so was the atmosphere, nothing special.
Thu D — Google review
I recently visited Silverlake Ramen in Midtown, and here’s a balanced, four-star Google-style review: Silverlake Ramen offers a solid, casual spot for a quick bowl in Midtown. The housemade noodles are satisfyingly chewy, and the broth carries a rich, savory depth that’s especially comforting on a chilly day. I went for the “Shoyu on Fire,” which is a smart pick if you want a little extra kick—it comes with a spicy chicken broth and a hint of lime that gives it character and livens things up. The crispy rice with spicy tuna and the pork buns are standout appetizers too—the crispy rice has a nice kick from jalapeño, balanced with cool avocado, and the pork belly in the buns is tender with a tasty hoisin mayo. The space itself feels a bit corporate—comfortable and efficient, but not particularly warm or unique. The full bar is a nice bonus if you're in the mood for something more than soup, though. Service was friendly enough, and overall I was satisfied with my meal. A few minor things held me back from giving five stars, like the generic interior vibe and a few milder broth options—but if you're after a reliable ramen fix in Midtown, this is a solid choice. 4 stars—tasty noodles, bold spicy option, killer apps, but could use a bit more ambiance and memorable flair.
Subhajit B — Google review
Not a bad place at all the vibes were really good . Music was great! Also the $5 mimosas all day is an extra plus !!! I’m just sad they don’t have chicken dumplings. Side note If you’re looking for actual ramen it’s not here. The noodle is more thin spaghetti like .
MARTELLIEY — Google review
I visited Silverlake Ramen with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. They offer an Americanized twist on traditional ramen, which I found to be a drawback compared to places like Hajime or Jinya. I ordered the Shoyu Blaze ramen, and it was quite disappointing—just one slice of Chashu, half an egg, and a grilled jalapeño that didn’t add much to the dish. As for the truffle ramen, it was lackluster and not worth mentioning. The only highlight of my meal was the chicken kimchi buns, which were enjoyable. However, the service, while slow, was friendly. Overall, considering the prices and quality, you can definitely find much better ramen options in the metro Atlanta area. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a satisfying bowl of ramen.

Came here for dinner with the family, it’s been on my list for quite some time to checkout. We were seated relatively quickly since we came on a Thursday evening. Kid friendly, there’s a kids menu and high chairs! We got kid the garlic noodles, hubby and I got the brussels and bulgogi buns as an app, he got the duck ramen and I had the shrimp garlic noodles. All the food was EXCELLENT. Our waitress was fantastic. Very attentive, made sure we were taken care of. No misses on the menu. We will be back!

American Japanese Korean fusion, but I am missing some key Korean/Japanese keystones! Great import beer and sake selection. If you like sake they have so many types! But no Umeshu. I got bibimbap because I needed veggies. Tonkatsu ramen was pretty good (but not as good as a pure ramen place.) Want to go back and try their Korean friend chicken pizza really bad, looked amazing with fresh Korean pickles on top. But no japchae on the whole menu so that was disappointing. Waiter was chill and place has good vibes. Might be a new favorite spot because the combo of food selections and drinks.

We originally headed to Toco Hills to dine at another restaurant, but a power outage changed our plans. After scanning the plaza, we stumbled upon Salaryman—and we're so glad we did. One look at the online menu and we were intrigued enough to give it a try. It did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent across the board. The service was friendly, we were seated promptly, and the menu offered a great variety of options. We kicked things off with the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken Wings and Kimchi Fried Rice—both full of flavor and the perfect start to what turned out to be an outstanding meal. For our entrees, we had the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap and the Beef Garlic Noodles, each dish satisfying and well-prepared. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Salaryman was an unexpected find, but it’s definitely earned a spot on our favorites list!

A place with an fantastic menu and great weekly specials! Modern decor and a real brick pizza over in the kitchen! My friend and I went on a Wednesday for wine night and was very excited to try this place. We came a bit later in the evening and the place was surprisingly pretty empty. We decided to share the bulgogi quesadilla, Soy Garlic Chicken wings, & the Tuna Tartare. Everything was really good and nice portions! Sharing these three plates left us full. Since it was wine Wednesday, we got half off a bottle of wine and split it together. We were celebrating so we ordered a Sparkling wine to toast. All in all. Great visit. Many interesting menu options. Im excited to go again on a different day and try something else.

Imagine walking into this place on a very hot sunny day, only to be half greeted by the staff, & them not having the AC working ( they did have the ceiling fans on). My friend & I decided to sit at the bar, & the bartender was unpleasant, unprofessional & had a weird disposition about himself. We had to ask for water twice, & he never came back after making our drinks to check on us or ask if we wanted to order food. However he chose to walk to the front of the restaurant (which is quite small) & start eating (smh). So I can’t even rate the food bc I didn’t get a chance to even be asked what we wanted to eat. We even had to ask another person for our ticket when it was time to leave. As far as the drinks, I would say they are extremely overpriced. I ordered a glass of rosè which was $15 & it was a very small pour. Overall, I did not like this place & would. It recommend based on my experience. I feel everyone should receive equal & fair treatment especially when we are all paying our hard earned money; regardless of the way you look. Smh do better salaryman, teach your staff how to be professional at all times. I added pics of the male, who was up front eating ( not sure if u can see it clear and the pic of my wine).

Juicy meat and plump buns Pork belly steam Buns - 10/10: again, just get them! Juicy, flavorful, and delicious Dumplings - 8/10 yummy, 9/10 with the dipping sauce Street Corn- 9/10: flavorful, a tad small serving Spicy chicken sandwich - 10/10, good flavor, great sauce, good crunchy fries, Parmesan was a great touch on the sandwich Bulgogi Lunch Bento - 10/10: flavorful with a great variety of items included. The pickles were bright and the salad was well dressed and seasoned. Loved this! Drinks are canned or bottled but they have a huge bar selection and a drink menu too! They just opened so they are working on the to-go logistics.

Wagamama is a casual Asian restaurant with a Japanese-inspired ambiance, featuring long communal benches for seating. Despite some issues with the heating and short-staffing, the food was served promptly. Dishes like Bang Bang Cauliflower and Tantanmen Beef Brisket Ramen were enjoyed for their flavors and quality ingredients. The friendly staff, particularly Evah and Solo, contributed to positive dining experiences.

It has been 20 years since we first ate at Wagamama in London, so it was a fun surprise to learn of its opening here in Atlanta. We visited for lunch on a rainy afternoon when it was very empty, but the restaurant still had a fun and energetic vibe through its mod decor and hip music. The food was excellent although the dish I ordered was marked “spicy” and yet I would have called it more “flavorful.” We enjoyed the ramen and noddles and would definitely come back for more. The loose leaf teas were a nice treat too!

There were 2 of us for dinner at 7:40 on Thursday, 11/17/22. It was freezing inside. The heater wasn’t working, so everyone was wearing jackets. They seated us by the door which didn’t help. They’re short-staffed, but the food didn’t take long to come out. We were out in less than an hour. Here’s what we got: - Bang Bang Cauliflower ($9): Good! Listed with two chilis, but it wasn’t too spicy. - Tantanmen Beef Brisket Ramen ($19): Had good flavor! The egg was perfect. I liked all the other ingredients in it too. Full disclosure: I got this for free as part of a Yelp Elite park. - Shirodashi Pork Ramen ($18): I didn’t try it, but my husband really liked it! We enjoyed the food! It’s definitely pricier, which is fine for the area. Just wish the portions were bigger.

Had a nice bowl of ramen with Korean beef for lunch. Very delicious and satisfying. A little spicy but not too spicy. My friend had pulled-duck curry, and liked it too. Very clean restaurant. Very good and pretty fast service.

contrary to the bad reviews, i really enjoyed my experience here. I came on a weekday around lunchtime so it was pretty dead but the bartender Elijah and various servers/staff (Mila and others) were so kind and hospitable to me. I had: edamame- great, i got the regular w/salt korean chicken wings- just okay, ask for extra sauce bang bang cauliflower- BOMB grilled duck ramen- DELICIOUS. i also got the Yuzu and the kabira bay, both very delicious and refreshing drinks. the staff was so nice, they even let me have one of their pressed juices just because there was extra from the staff tasting. i’ll definitely be back!

If only I could add more stars… My partner and I have a fantastic time at Wagamama Atlanta. After having this many times growing up overseas, this location lived up to and exceeded any nostalgic expectations. Lexi, our server, was kind, heartwarming, and enthusiastic about our experience and introducing the menu. All of the staff we spoke with were incredibly talented at what they do. Let’s talk food! The Chili Chicken Ramen was some of the best noodles we’ve had. The spice presented itself as a flavor than a challenge, and the chicken was seasoned beautifully. The Bao Buns were light and fluffy. The Steak Bulgogi hit every note for the noodle lover. The deeper you dug into the bowl, the more flavor you’d find! It was filling but not at all heavy. The CHICKEN WINGS!!!! These were the best Asian-inspired wings I could have ever experienced. The meat fell right off the bone as it was so tender. They also have a delicate crunch to the skin, coated with the sauce of our dreams. With the wings, we received tiny bowls with tightly wound wet napkins that grew as they filled the bowls with water. We were shown a future menu item - The Chicken Katsu Sandwich - we were drooling. To top off our lovely experience, we received a complimentary green tea cheesecake slice with their house-made ginger ice cream. Even if you are full, PLEASE try the dessert. This was the cherry on top for us. Thank you, Lexi and Wagamama staff, for a perfect dining experience. We hope to be back!

I was very excited for place. The staff was super friendly, it was very clean, beautifully decorated and a vibe. Sadly, there were more negatives than positives. 1. they were weirdly out of edamame? - not sure if it would have been better for the waitress to mention that first especially if its someones first time. overhead her repeating that to other tables... 2. The bar was closed? 3. The most sad - the pork ramen was SO SALTY, with the pork AND salty broth 😭💔 ...thats the main reason why i was so bummed, i just feel thats such a staple for an asian (Japanese) inspired restaurant the chicken wings and cauliflower were the only great tasting things - which were not asian inspired lol. my coworker had the pad thai and also wasnt impressed. hoping once they get more experience (waitress said they were officially open for a couple months) and more positive feedback they will do great! i'll be back in maybe a year lol

We made it to Wagamama today with some friends. The restaurant is huge but not too crowded on Sunday lunch. Food is pretty good a d presentation is amazing! we tried the tantanmen beef brisket ramen, shu shiok chicken, duck donburri, bang bang cauliflower and duck wings. All are good. And don’t forget to request to sit down with Tyson (he is prompt and very helpful). We’ll be back!

Tanaka Ramen is a casual, self-serve spot that offers classic Japanese ramen and soups with various toppings. The restaurant aims to provide an authentic ramen experience, emphasizing the traditional artisanal form over packaged instant noodles. Despite concerns about its trendy location, the food at Tanaka Ramen is excellent, with dishes like kagaare chicken and house special tonkatsu ramen receiving praise for their flavors and quality.
Great service here. A good selection of noodle options/customization. We had the vegetable, signature tonkotsu, shoya garlic, and the tanaka combo hokkaido ramen and all taste great! I think this is one of the best ramen we've tried so far. The hottest spice option to us was just right. It was nice sitting outside the patio.
Nhan T — Google review
Had the signature tonkatsu, absolutely loaded with pork and I asked for it "pretty spicy" and got a deliciously mouth numbing bowl of fantastic ramen. They gyoza was kinda glued together but it tasted good too. Wife got the combo ramen, loved it.
Justin T — Google review
I've been here 3 times now but just getting around to writing a review. To start off, the location of this restaurant is great- Brookhaven in a great shopping plaza. Parking close to the restaurant can be challenging depending on time & day. The management recently changed and it's noticeable in the cleanliness of the restaurant and improvement in service. Once you step inside, you'll see very impressive decor on the wall behind the bar. A person I came with said that it's very similar to the decorations that he sees when he goes to Japan. It's a really spacious restaurant with lots of seating. There are 3 booths, bar seating, high top tables, and small party tables in the center. Appetizers - edamame: it's silly to comment on this but these were SO PLUMP !! - Pork Gyoza: I don't like dumplings but I actually enjoyed these. The center was soft but the outer edges were crisp. The taste of these were on my mind for days after. - Brussels sprouts: fried with tempura sauce. I'll just say right now that all of their fried menu items were fried to perfection. Sooo crispy. - karaage: served with spicy mayo. Again, so crispy and yummy with the sauce. Take bites with the lettuce that it's served on top of and tastes so fresh. - Takoyaki: I'm not a fan of this dish in general but I tried since it was my first time here. The insides seemed to be more chopped/grinded than usual but I actually preferred this because I don't like the texture of octopus. It made it more savory when bitten into. Ramen - The signature tonkotsu: the base of the soup is in their house ramen sauce and black garlic oil. It is so flavorful. - Karashi spicy ramen: the pork chashu is so soft and juicy. This is same as the signature but blended with special fresh chili paste. You can choose from mild, medium, and spicy. I didn't choose a level, but the regular that came out had a decent amount of spice. From 1-5, maybe a 2? The noodles were really chewy and both soups were seasoned really well. I'll have to come back to try some of their rice dishes !
Sung H — Google review
It is definitely one of the best places in Atlanta for good taste ramen and Japanese plates. The fried pork chop rice is the most delicious one I have ever tried. Great place.
Trevor ( — Google review
Ordered the spicy chicken ramen. Man was it good, has lots of flavor, not to salty. The spicy level for me was great, it will clear up your sinuses pretty quick. If you are not into spicy food stick with the non spicey. For those that like the kick in there food, go with the spicey and you won't be disappointed. The crispy chicken was fried awesome, crispy on the outside and juicy/moist on the inside. The staff was super nice, only thing I noticed was that they don't check up on you at all since I got the food. But I can deal with that. Overall great place to eat.
Artur Y — Google review
I was a little worried that this place would skew more trendy than authentic given the neighborhood, but the food was excellent. I had the kagaare chicken and the house special tonkatsu ramen. The chicken was perfectly cooked and crispy (and somehow got crispier the longer it was out) the the flavor of the ramen was spot on. The only drawback to the experience was the service, which was nice, but very very slow. There were only two tables dining at the time, so they weren't slammed. But sometimes these things happen. *shug* Would definitely return.
Jason F — Google review
Quick service, everyone friendly, huge portions. The curry ramen dishes were a big hit. The restaurant is spacious and they have pet friendly seating outside. Prices are reasonable.
Robin D — Google review
I started going to Tanaka when it first opened and I found the menu options keep declining(can be told on the menu since some options are crossed out), as well as the quality of service due to lack of staff. I personally rated the food quality here as “average”, and the only reason I go here is the location (next to Costco). But after today’s visit, I think I have no interest to come back again. It took rather long before I got the menu and drinks. And staff was forgetful and I had to repeat my order and ask for check multiple times. It was kind of understandable considering there was only one server at that time. What really disappointed me was the food quality. I never had gyoza like this, coming out with so much burnt, and it tasted bitter. Not recommended at all.

Ramen restaurant
Nestled in Underwood Hills, Sakura Ramen Bar has quickly become a standout at Chattahoochee Food Works. Known for its diverse ramen offerings, from the rich Tonkotsu to innovative vegan options featuring beyond meatballs, this spot is a must-visit for noodle lovers. The Tonkotsu Red Ramen is particularly recommended, boasting a spicy miso pork broth complemented by chashu pork and kimchi collards.
Sakura Ramen Bar is rocking TheWorksAtl. It became the most popular place in TheWorks. And I am not surprised if it become the best Ramen in town. We were there by first time, we ordered food from each place but Sakura was so far the best by unanimity. can’t describe the flavors, the quality. The perfect balance between spicy and sweet. Portions are just perfect. And a very important thing not very popular in GA, they are environmental friendly, they serve in compostable utensils. That is A Plus! Chef Hugo is amazing. He creates a menu were you can taste since ginger, garlic, onions, mushrooms, meat, etc in one bite. Also, They have a great selection of drinks. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend it. There is not a picture that could describe the flavors. SakuraRamenBar became my favorite place in town. 😍

[May 14] $8 and fast service for two yummy bao’s. [May 30] The ramen bowl is very large and filling but the broth was too salty, the egg was hard-boiled, and the chicken was a little dry.
Jade X — Google review
I was in the mood for ramen and got it from this spot where there is a food court. They are located right near one of the entrances. I ordered at the kiosk the spicy ramen with chicken. It took about 15 minutes. When it was ready, it looked really good. When I dug in it as very tasty and had the right amount of spice. I really enjoyed the ramen all in all!
Des K — Google review
Average. Ok appetizers (deep fried shu mai was a weird surprise) and bao bun was good…but the ramen was just average. We got the red and black tonkotsu, and it was nothing special, noodles were undercooked. Have had better, prices were very inflated…$18 dollars a bowl was way too much for this, not worth it

If you're looking for Ramen in Atlanta's West End look no further. This little ramen bar and a great mix of apps, ramen and beer that really set it apart from other neighborhood spots. My waitress was great at making recommendations, and the food came out perfect. I had the edamame hummus and Chicken ramen with a Japanese IPA and loved all of it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for dinner in The Works district

I had the Veggie dumplings. They are very good. They are light and airy. Great option for vegans and vegetarians quick bite. They have also a vegan ramen but didn't opt for it due to being brothless. I will probably be back and try that next time.
Bridget F — Google review
50$ for two bowls. I got one piece of chicken , a ton of noodles that look and taste like they were made in the microwave. They are all stuck together I’m very disappointed. Literally was done in under ten minutes. I should have known it wasn’t official. Waste of money never coming back again. Update: it’s now the day after and my stomach started hurting late last night and I still don’t feel good. I see good reviews about the ramen but you may not want to eat the stir fry which is what we had. And of course I’d wait 20+ minutes if the food was made with love and worth it. 😂 😂 zero starsss!
V A — Google review
Came here while visiting the food hall. The raman was tasty. The sesame wings were just ok. Not crispy enough and the sauce didn't have a vivid flavor so i wouldn't order them again. They also dont have sides. It would've been nice to have a side salad or a smaller size order of noodles with my wings.

Ramen restaurant
Tamago Ramen Bar in Atlanta, Georgia prides itself on offering the finest traditional Japanese ramen in a comfortable, family-style setting. The restaurant is also dog-friendly, allowing you to bring your pet along. Customers praise the delicious and filling tonkatsu ramen with flavorful char siu. The restaurant offers generous portions and great service, making it a go-to spot for many.
My new favorite ramen bar... everything taste fresh... portions seems comparatively less than other ramen places I go but its ok I am trying to control my appetite portion anyway 😁

New Ramen restaurant close to our condo, we had to tried.. . The portions are small for the price. Noodles are not great. Rich flavor but they need to evaluate the price and portions.
Monica M — Google review
Was easy to hop in a get a quick bite for lunch. Gyoza was really tasty.
Israel J — Google review
I come here regularly and the service is always good. Their tonkatsu ramen is delicious and very filling! The char siu is so flavorful. You can add more of any topping you like, but I think the balance of what is in there already is perfect. If you want a cozy, casual spot to grab a bowl, hit this place up and order some dumplings on the side.
Caitlin B — Google review
The food is ok. I had the teriyaki steak bowl. Thought the bowl could use more steak. It wasnt the best but I've had worst. The price was medium. It was one of those places that I happen to be in the area, I was hungry so I walked in. I wouldn't recommend it as a first choice but if you happen to be in the shopping plaza and are hungry it's not a bad choice.
Chris — Google review
I really like this Ramen bar over the more popular Jinya one in Roswell. I really enjoy the Veggie Ramen as well as the spring rolls & pot stickers! This Ramen place tastes very fresh in comparison.
Gerrad W — Google review
Tried a few ramen places, but this place is way better! Everything tastes really fresh, even at 2am! Definitely love the quality and the service is great too. This has become my husband and my’s go-to ramen bar. Portions are generous as well.

GREAT food GREAT service. Very kind people and good prices for it all. They were fast to bring out the food and it was great comfort food. I would suggest the chicken ramen! (Has an outlet at every table for your charging needs)
