Jewish restaurant
The General Muir is a contemporary upscale Jewish deli that brings a taste of New York to the South. Located in Toco Hills, it offers classic dishes like latkes, pastrami hash, and bagels with lox. The restaurant's name pays homage to the refugee transport ship that brought one of the co-owners' family to America after WWII.
The food was delicious, and the service was amazing--our server, Sosa, was an absolute sweetheart and took great care of us! We had the roast chicken, NY strip steak, and strawberry mascarpone cheese cake. All of it was great, and we also got some cookies and matzah ball soup to-go so we could try them later. By the end of the meal, we were already talking about coming back next week to try more things on the menu. Looking forward to it!

I've been wanting to try this restaurant forever because there is so much hype and they got Michelin recognition. My food was like a 3.5. The food came out quickly. I had the East Side Platter and the Nova and Gravalox were wonderfully not overly salted. I didn't really care for the Smoked Trout Spead and I've had several smoked fish spreads. The biggest issue was my bagels. They didn't taste fresh or amazing. I was expecting really great bagels from a Jewish Restaurant with a Michelin Recommendation. My service was woefully lacking and staffing was not understaffed. My server basically went missing and I had to ask another server for bill. Ambiance was top notch. I might return and try the Rye Bread and Reuben.

This is one of my favorite brunch spots in Atlanta. Sometimes service can be a little slow when they are busy, but that is to be expected since they are really popular. Their coffees are pretty good and I also get a cookie to pair with it. Their brunch entrees are all hits! I recommend the fish and potatoes, the general, and the smoked hash. Overall, a great brunch spot that we keep in the rotation.
Cam A — Google review
What a fantastic night at The General Muir! My best friend and I were able to meet up for the first time in years and decided to head here. We got the deviled eggs as an appetizer and the Chef was very kind in answering our question! The food was great, loved the service and the atmosphere was amazing. I will be back with more friends!
Karen F — Google review
Great brunch or lunch spot. Absolutely top bread and bagels. We usually get the bagels as a go-to. But got the mushroom and grits, which had an umami truffle taste to it without being overbearing. The coffee and cocktail drinks are also freshly made with their barista.
Ben L — Google review
Great spot with amazing sandwiches, matzah ball soup, pastries, bagels, and really everything on the menu. Their Reuben is go-to with that delicious pastrami, sauerkraut, melted cheese, and fresh baked rye. The Pastrami & Egg is a close second though. Their everything bagels are so garlicky and delicious. The Chicken Club is another favorite, and you gotta grab a few Black and White cookies on your way out. Theirs are as good as it gets. Lovely coffees as well and of course, fantastic gravlax. The General Muir is always a great spot!
Pcarruth2 — Google review
Unfortunately, I am disappointed by this place. The Reuben was greasy and tasted plainly of pickled veggies, and the Blackout Cake was minimally sweet. There was a big roach on the wall at our booth as well. They do give their leftover bread away at the end of the night for free, and the waitress was so nice. Some small pluses.

Petit Chou is a charming French-inspired breakfast and lunch spot located in Atlanta's Cabbagetown district. The name, which translates to 'Little Cabbage,' pays homage to the surrounding neighborhood. The cafe offers a laid-back atmosphere with rustic decor and serves up locally-sourced foods, outstanding coffee, and all-natural drinks and treats.
This place was delicious!! Really good iced chai latte and the French toast Combier was AMAZING. Our server was lovely, the restaurant is small but super cute, and they got us in much faster than we expected, even on a Saturday morning.

This is a nice solid place to eat. I like the ambience. I thought the biscuits and gravy. We’re pretty good, but maybe needed a little more salt and the Sage flavor. May have been a little strong. A friend just was quite nice though. I think there could’ve been too for the Price. I’d come back and try some of other lunch specials as well.
John K — Google review
Let me start by saying that my wife and I adore this place! We live pretty far but often make the drive here for breakfast. The food is good, service is always friendly and the atmosphere is quaint and positive. Yesterday morning however, I was rather disappointed. Service was still impeccable and the food was still good but the bottle of water that they place on your table had some sort of mold or grime on the plastic plug used to close the bottle. The bathroom I went into smelled terribly and looked rather unkept. It all really threw me off so much so that I almost lost my appetite and left. I really want them to do better because like I said, we adore this place. But I cannot have another experience like that again.

This is great spot. Easy to miss this small place but definitely deserves your attention. Quite comforting atmosphere. We loved the food and the service was great and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Kay K — Google review
I came in near the end of brunch on the weekend and found that an absolutely delightful place! the vibes were very cozy, with several customers sitting about talking. I got the impression that the place is good enough to have several regulars, and they made you feel like a regular right away in any case. The food was very tasty - I got a croque madame, and I would HIGHLY recommend you get a pastry!
Vanessa R — Google review
This place was rated really well so we were genuinely surprised when our food wasn’t that great. All of our food was cold except for the eggs on top which was a little confusing. I also just didn’t feel like I got very much food on my plate, and was still hungry. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and the pieces of meat were slim. Then there was this salad on the side that I didn’t even eat. It would’ve been better with some potatoes or grits of some kind. And it was hard to say it tasted good since it wasn’t warm. I picked up a chocolate croissant since I was still hungry, and it tasted great but didn’t have very much chocolate in it. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and it had way too much pepper in it. It was also cold with hot eggs. Almost like the food was left to sit and then they came back later to add the eggs. Overall the food was just okay, and because of that I wouldn’t say it was worth the cost. We left wishing we had chosen the diner down the street instead.

TWO Urban Licks is a popular restaurant located in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward, offering a unique dining experience with its industrial-chic decor and open-air ambiance. The restaurant is known for its wood-fired cuisine, live blues music, and a spacious patio that overlooks the Atlanta skyline. The menu features a variety of globally inspired dishes cooked to perfection in the signature rotisserie ovens.
I came here with friends for my birthday—such a memorable night! Amazing vibe with live music and beautiful art all around. The food was outstanding: crispy salmon chips, juicy brisket, tender pork chop, and a sweet birthday treat to end it perfectly. Highly recommend for a special night out!
HJ C — Google review
Fantastic experience overall. The atmosphere, service, appetizer, meal and wine were fantastic! We had the rotisserie chicken. This place has been on our "want to go" lost for quite some time. This was our first time here and definitely not our last. Note: Parking is NOT free. Make sure you pay or you WILL get a boot. There were a few vehicles that had a tire bracelets on them.
Judi H — Google review
Very nice place. The ambience of the restaurant was extremely balanced. We happened to be there on a Saturday and they had live music. The food was good. My only complaint was price for the empanada. Literally just one cut in half. But the dinner was good. I had the wood fired chicken and my husband did the ribeye. Both were delicious. For dessert we did the upside apple cake, which was a solid 6 out of 10. The price point for the food was on the higher side, but overall it was a good experience.
Sabrina — Google review
We came in with a group of 17 for a birthday dinner last Friday night, and everything about the experience hit the mark. From pacing to service to the food itself, TWO handled the size and energy of the group without missing a beat. My partner and I split the wood-fired rotisserie chicken with mac & cheese, which was one of the best dishes of the night. The chicken was crisp on the outside, juicy inside, and full of flavor from the citrus brine. The mac was creamy and hot, not overly heavy, and plated like they actually cared—even for a shared dish in a large party. Wine flowed easily, and the staff kept things moving without rushing us or letting anything drag. Our server was calm, friendly, and handled everything smoothly, including a few custom orders and birthday extras. No attitude, no confusion—just solid, confident service. The vibe was loud enough to feel like a celebration but still comfortable to hold a conversation. For a big birthday group on a busy weekend night, it couldn’t have gone much better.
Jarred F — Google review
Overall a nice experience. The sorbet dessert was excellent. The salmon was great. My cousin didn't like the black beans they were two watered down and the dessert that she selected was baked in the morning and warmed up and it tasted like it.
Anthony E — Google review
Great service!! Celebrated my husband 62nd birthday!!! Great live music! The atmosphere was so relaxed and yet exciting. We enjoyed the salmon chips, brisket, ribeye steak and a nice birthday treat. We celebrated with friends! A nice walk on the battery after dinner was very nice! Great place for a special occasion!! Highly recommended!!!
Felita W — Google review
Where do I begin, came in on the 4th of July, no wait, a band was playing. Restaurant was open, providing the full menu and full service. Things went south very quickly, our server Chad was awful, and a terrible representation of Two Urban Licks. The food was subpar at best. For the restaurant to be empty at the time we arrived, we waited extended periods of time throughout the dining experience without Chad coming to the table or checking on us. Empty glasses with no water. Took so long to come back to the table we no longer wanted to order drinks. With a nice establishment like this and it being 2025 they don’t make fresh espresso for espresso martinis, disappointing. Chad disappeared multiple times and when we did see him in the dining room he would walk by our table and not acknowledge us. Two Urban Licks is known for the salmon chips, the chips was so lack luster, couldn’t taste the smoke, no salt or anything, extremely bland, not enough chipotle cream cheese. Empanada was amazing. My friend loved her scallops. Myself and my other friend ordered the grouper sandwich, it was hot and fresh, but the ciabatta bread was so overbearing it made the sandwich too big to eat, barely any basil aioli on the bread, no clue why fried chicken skins was put on the grouper sandwich, the chicken skins got lost in the sandwich and it didn’t add to the crunchiness or flavor or anything. The sandwich was so poorly executed we both opted to deconstruct the sandwich and just eat the fish. The sandwich came with fries and noticed no ketchup or aioli came with the fries, waited on Chad to finally circle around asked for condiments for Chad to say “fries are meant to be made dry”. How disgusting, to even say that. I would also like to suggest an outside host to work the patio and cater to the guest(s) coming from the beltline, to make people that are sweaty, and smell like outside walk through the restaurant and go to the host stand to then walk back through the restaurant to be seated back outside in which they just came from makes entirely no sense at all. A better system should be in place. I doubt we would return just based off the overall lack of service Chad provided.

My husband and I were visiting Atlanta for the first time together for an early anniversary trip. A friend from the area recommended we try this spot and it did not disappoint! The food came out fast and was incredible! Our server, Kaelin aka Big Mama, was the best! We had the strawberry salad, oysters Rockefeller and rotisserie chicken with mac and cheese. There was also live music which was great! We absolutely loved our experience! 10/10 A++

Restaurant
Atlanta Breakfast Club is a modern diner with a retro vibe that serves up classic American breakfast dishes and other staples. This Black-owned restaurant opens daily from 6:30 am to 3 pm, offering a variety of traditional morning meals like oatmeal, pancakes, breakfast bowls, and customizable omelets. Notable menu items include the Fried Green Tomato BLT and Peach Cobbler French Toast.
We were visiting the Georgia Aquarium and had time to spare so we were looking for food within walking distance. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted like family. Our waitress today was phenomenal and helped us out being it was our first visit. The vibe, the love, the passion they put into the environment and customer service flows right into the food! Absolutely delicious! Best breakfast we have gotten in a long time! Highly recommend and we will be back to try out lunch! Thank you for a great experience today. Our 10yr old son said he nearly fell out because it was so delicious!😅
Kelli B — Google review
Absolutely delicious, still dreaming about this meal. Everything was delicious, gravy was top notch, fried chicken beautifully seasoned and those grits with the cheddar were divine. The service is amazing, I really have no complaints. Definitely worth a stop during a short trip to Atlanta. Told my husband I would be a frequent regular if I lived here. They do not accept reservations. I walked in on random Friday around 11am and immediately seated. They turn over tables fast so likely won’t be waiting too long. Highly recommend!
Chanel L — Google review
First time visiting the South, and I knew I had to try chicken & waffles. This place did not disappoint — absolutely bomb! The waffles were fluffy, the fried chicken perfectly seasoned, and I couldn’t stop eating the Cajun shrimp on the side. 💡 Pro tip: order a side of white gravy and get the hot sauce — it takes the whole dish to another level. If you’re in Atlanta and want a true Southern comfort food experience, this spot is a must.
Mel C — Google review
Absolutely loved this place! There was a wait, however they were very professional and organized through out! Regardless of being busy the energy was superb and server was amazing! Food came out so good presentation wise as well as taste wise! We all finished our whole plates! Music was also a whole vibe! This is somewhere that is now on our list to continue going to! Highly recommend!!

My friends and I drove straight here from the airport! We paid steak dinner prices for breakfast . We found it crazy that EVERYTHING is a la carte. But, I will say, the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Everyone enjoyed everything that was ordered. We had: Peach Cobbler French Toast Bacon Cheese Eggs Cheese Grits Sausage Fried Green Tomatoes Chicken & Black Pepper Gravy (+ and egg on top) The service was great. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. This is definitely a spot we'd consider returning to when visiting again.

We were in Atlanta for vacation and stopped at the Atlanta Breakfast Club because it had been recommended by a friend. It certainly did not disappoint! We ubered to the restaurant from our hotel so we had no issues with parking but I did note that parking looked a little limited. Once inside, we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was very busy inside but we were seated almost immediately. I noted that the entire staff seemed to be working very quickly and efficiently. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She learned it was our first time there so she spent extra time explaining some of the favorites to us. My wife and I split a cinnamon roll, which was amazing, and then I had the Georgia Peach. It was chicken in waffles covered in preach cobbler. It was pretty incredible. The noise level was elevated but that is to be expected for the space and amount of people there. The noise would have bothered me had we been there for a dinner but for a breakfast place, it seemed to even add to the atmosphere. We were very happy with our experience here and would recommend it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review – Atlanta Breakfast Club This was my first time visiting Atlanta Breakfast Club, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Nikki! When I walked in, there was a long line, and I thought I’d be waiting forever. I mentioned I had a dentist appointment at 2 PM, and she immediately made sure I was seated. Her professionalism, kindness, and calm energy were amazing. She truly went above and beyond. I also want to highlight my waitress Agyei who was just as wonderful. She took my order right away, checked on me with perfect timing, and made sure everything I needed was taken care of. Her service was friendly, fast, and attentive. The food was delicious, it came out quickly, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I was able to get in, enjoy a great meal, and get out right on time. Thank you to Nikki and my waitress for making my first visit unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is fabulous. Ate here a few years ago and had to try it again. Very busy but these guys have figured out how to handle a crowd. Tables cleared fast and seating was quick. I had the b-fast tacos and a side of hash browns. Yum! Great mix of protein snd sweetness. Included pix after I took a few bites. Opps. Shout out to JadeW our server. Southern restaurant (US)
Brunch restaurant
Located in Buckhead, Buttermilk Kitchen is a popular Southern breakfast and lunch spot that has been serving locally sourced, made-from-scratch dishes for over a decade. Chef Suzanne Vizethann's menu features mouthwatering options like the unique Make It Flippin Fantastic combo and the flavorful Folded Egg Frittata.
Prices, food, and cocktails were great! Went on a Saturday around noon and waited about 45 minutes to be sat. Personally, it was worth the wait! My friends and I enjoyed our food! We had the cornbread to share, followed by our meal. The cornbread was so good that I didn't even get a picture lol. The grit bowl (get the pimento grits!) was filling and there were plenty of the toppings, as you can see! I also got a single pancake and it was light and fluffy and reminded me of the cornbread in a good way! Our waiter was also great and welcoming!

You have to make a reservation to eat here. If you like southern breakfast you’ll really like this. The biscuit was good and soft. I got the hashbrown bowl and it was very filling and tasty. The French press coffee is not bad. The servers were very friendly and attentive.
OpticShogun — Google review
You will likely need a reservation, which you can make online in a few seconds. We had an 8:30am reservation on a Sunday. We were sat immediately and greeted by our server right away. We started with the cinnamon roll, which had the most delicious cream cheese frosting. You have to try it! I ordered the spiced maple chicken and grits. The sweet and spicy sauce on the fried chicken was amazing, combined with the bacon and pimento cheese grits. I was so full but I couldn't stop eating it! And I still took half of it home to snack on later. My husband had the chicken biscuit with pimento cheese grits and a side of sausage gravy. He said it was very, very good. We are picky about restaurant gravy, but this gravy was well made, with large chunks of sausage. The fried chicken was crunchy on the outside but melt in your mouth and juicy on the inside. The prices seem a bit high compared to your typical breakfast place, but you are paying for gigantic portions (the pics in reviews do not do the food justice - I was surprised) and delicious, homemade food. For two people we had the cinnamon roll, two entrees, two sodas, a side of gravy, and a side biscuit. Our total before tip was $70. My only complaint is that they don't have fountain drinks, so diet Coke comes in a tiny glass bottle and obviously no refills. I drink a lot when I'm eating so I also ordered a water, which came out warm and without ice, but that's a quick fix to ask for a cup of ice on the side. All of the staff was extremely friendly and appeared to enjoy working there.
Angela D — Google review
I really wanted to like this place but man I was let down. I went on Friday around 9a and the cinnamon roll we ordered was so dry. It almost seemed like it was stale from the day before. The spiced maple chicken and grits was not for me. I couldn’t eat it. Genuinely don’t know if it was me or something was wrong but it was spiced, sweet, salty and sour (like allspice mixed with sweet and sour sauce). The grits not covered in sauce were 10/10 though. The server was very nice and asked about the meal as I wasn’t going to mention it. She took it off the bill when I said I didn’t enjoy it which I appreciated. Not sure I’d give this place another chance but I wouldn’t recommend the spiced maple chicken and grits.

One of my favorite breakfast spots! It’s one of those places where you can rely on a meal to be great, consistently. Their house-made vanilla syrup is amazing— biscuits— fried chicken—you name it; it’s a spot worth trying at least! If you go during the morning on a weekday I don’t necessarily think a reservation is necessary to be seated, but on the weekend? I’d recommend it if you plan on coming in for brunch (10am-2pm).

The fried chicken biscuit is seriously good. Also don’t skip out on the cinnamon roll, the orange zest is a really great addition! I wish the hash brown fitters were a bit more crispy but everything else was super tasty. I did make a reservation and my table was not ready when we arrived so we did have to wait, but everything else was great.

We saw how packed it was and waited 45 mins to get a table. It was worth the wait. The food was Delicious. The waitress was amazing. Very helpful and funny. Whenever we are in ATL we will be back. 😁👍🏼 you should definitely make reservations 2 days before you visit.

This is an honest review based on my experience. Is this place overhyped? Yes. We waited almost 2 hours since we did not have a reservation. I highly recommend you make a reservation otherwise prepare to wait. The hostess was kind of rude. There was no place really to wait we actually ended up waiting in our car since it was raining that day. The place was really small and the seating arrangements were tight and close together. It’s essentially like an old small house that was turned into a restaurant. The parking was really awkward and hard to find. They have little parking at the front of the restaurant and not any better in the back. Their biscuits are big, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The spreads that came with the 3 biscuits appetizer were delicious, especially the blueberry basil. The pimento grits are definitely yummy. I will actually return just for those grits. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and my kids loved them. I was told they are known for their chicken biscuit, but in my humble opinion, it was just OK. I did not understand the hype other than the size of it. It was overwhelmingly big for me. I took it home and my son ate it later that day. I would come back once in a great while, but I will definitely be making reservations. It’s definitely pricey.

The cozy European-inspired atmosphere creates an authentic market feel, offering a wide array of freshly made pastries, bread, cakes, sandwiches, prepared foods, cheeses, chocolates and more. In addition to its delectable offerings for individual customers, Alon's also provides wholesale options and catering services for various events.
Hi, I am a Kong’s dad🐶 I tried lots of it though it was breakfast😅 The sandwiches were so fresh and yummy as well as coffee was very nice, I got latte with almond milk. I ordered Portobello and Smoky Turkey paper for sandwiches. I would really suggest the twice baked almond croissant among them. It’s really crispy and full taste of almond. I would definitely revisit soonest to try other menus👍

This is such a cute but fully stocked wonder of variety items and fresh products. The bakery was fully stocked with great items and the patisserie was incredible. I got the strawberry fields and chocolate truffle…Wowzers. Great flavor, not overly or cloyingly sweet. The customer service is top notch and the barista was amazing. I did my normal request of having them play and do whatever they want with my coffee and they gave me a wonderful foamy somehow caramelized vanilla latte. They’re not limited to just baked goods but also artisanal cheeses and freshly made lunch items such as sandwiches that can made to order or ready to go. Would definitely visit again!

This place is a gem for baked goods and pastries. It’s chock full of curios. There is Dubai chocolate bars, local grits, warm breakfast, and a variety of drinks. Make sure to grab all your items and then stand in line. I wish there was more seating.

The slightly old-fashioned yet cozy atmosphere was the first pleasant surprise, and the incredible flavors of the salmon sandwich and panini were the second. The harmony of freshly baked bread and quality ingredients was truly outstanding, and it felt like I had finally found a place I’d love to come back to again and again.

My favorite bakery in town!! I highly recommend trying their garlic roast lamb or roast beef sandwiches. Also asked them to press the sandwich hot like panini (although they charge $1.50) for heating up the sandwich 😔 their coffee and bakery -- great as well. My favorite thing is the chocolate raspberry cake -- perfect balance of raspberry and choc and absolutely gorgeous 🥰 warning: they are super busy during holidays and weekends. Go there early if you do not want to worry about parking and waiting times.

We are regulars here. My mom came in this morning for a black pepper turkey sandwich to eat during her lunch break later at work. When she opened her sandwich hours later, she discovered that her sandwich had every ingredient BUT the turkey! The location was not busy this morning, so there is no explanation for the turkey sandwich having no turkey. Very disappointed, especially for the price she paid.

I finally stopped by this bakery, and I’m glad I did! Having their own parking lot was a nice convenience. The shop offers a wide variety of baked goods, desserts, candies, sandwiches, soups, wines, and café drinks — there’s something for everyone. I tried the cinnamon stick, roast beef sandwich, blueberry bar, and chocolate cookie — everything tasted great. Prices were a bit higher than I expected, but overall, the quality of the food made it worth it.

I just adore Alon’s! Everything about them is heavenly; I LOVE their baked goods, maximalist interior, customer service, honestly everything. Some of my favorite goodies of theirs are the Tiramisu, macarons (especially the almond and chocolate flavors), fruit tart, mug-sized chocolate cheesecake, and Midnight Cake. They have so many options to choose from across the store, though, that you’ll never be bored when visiting. Their service is also always phenomenal - you genuinely feel that everyone loves working here. You HAVE to go to this ATL staple!

Middle Eastern restaurant
Delbar Middle Eastern in Inman Park offers a relaxed dining experience with traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant is popular among locals, often leading to long wait times during dinner. The menu features a variety of delicious options, from mazze and spreads like the Falafel Plate and Dill Labneh to heartier meat entrees such as the Koobideh Kabob and Sea Bass. The cocktails are unique and complement the divine meal perfectly.
The environment at Delbar-Inman park was energetic and lively, and the food was of the highest quality. The waiters and waitresses were clearly well-trained, offering a thoughtful menu tour and providing excellent service throughout. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating — they didn’t hesitate to honor my request for a better table or even adjust my online order. This is by far the best restaurant I have ever experienced. Being there felt like being back in my home country, which made the experience even more special. Wishing the Delbar team more success in the future!

I came here for my anniversary dinner, and everything was wonderful from start to finish! The food was delicious, flavorful, and reasonably priced. John was our server and he made our night with his great service! He knew the menu inside and out, gave amazing recommendations, and checked on us often without ever feeling overbearing. He even surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch! The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a special night out. Definitely recommend checking this place out! 🩵

True rating: 3.5 stars. You're coming here for great apps, nice drinks, service, and a fitting ambiance. The main entrees were underwhelming, especially for a place of this reputation. Your server will tell you this but the dishes are def meant to be shared (so as a party of two, we ordered one grain (Sabzi Polo) and one meat (Gheimeh Bademjoon). Highlights: The Dill Labneh (with lamb & za'atar) was amazing. For drinks, the Guavamente and Dubai Drift were GREAT (Guavamente has banana and we were pleasantly surprised it wasn't overpowering). Our server was very helpful and attentive and the ambiance/vibe would best be described as "captivating" and "alluring". For a Persian place, I was expecting the lamb to be top tier... and again, underwhelmed. The Gheimeh Bademjoon was decently cooked but lacked flavor that the dish relied solely on the stew to provide. It was paired with the Sabzi Polo, which was supposed to have the "burnt" part of the rice but unfortunately tasted more stale than crispy. With that said, would be interested in trying them again (definitely something else this time though).

I really wanted to love this place after hearing so many great things as a longtime Atlanta resident, but the experience fell short of expectations. I had a reservation and arrived about ten minutes late, but thankfully they had a 15-minute grace period. We were seated near the stairs, but after that, no one came by for some time. We noticed several tables that arrived after us being greeted, given water, and walked through the menu, while we still hadn’t even received glasses of water. It felt a bit disheartening to be overlooked for so long. I tried to make eye contact with passing staff to get someone’s attention, but it was tough until John noticed us. He realized we hadn’t been assigned a server and kindly stepped in to take care of us. He was honestly the highlight of the night—super attentive and professional despite the awkward situation. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for the rocky start. We ordered the salmon kebab, chinjeh, and adas polo. I really wanted to like everything, but the flavors were underwhelming—especially the salmon and chinjeh, which lacked seasoning. The rice ended up being the best part of the meal, surprisingly the most flavorful dish. When I bit into the salmon, I noticed the skin was burnt on all three pieces. Again, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. So after the meal, I checked with a friend who had been here before, and she confirmed that’s not how it’s normally served. We genuinely tried to enjoy it, but between the initial neglect and disappointing food, we ended up just taking the rest to go.

What a perfect way to start a relaxing Sunday. The food was chef's kiss! Our waiter explained the menu and gave recommendations. He also asked about any food allergies which is rare. I love the sunroom and optional patio seating. Most appetizers & sides are big enough to share. We loved the diverse crowd and the overall aestetic atmosphere. My only take away was the Paloma is a spicy drink here so I replaced it with a Gauvamente Martini.
Erin J — Google review
Fantastically great food. Nicely seasoned without going over the top. Large portions to share. Drinks are good. Nice lager beer, very easy to drink. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive, timely and very helpful in explaining the different dishes and in navigating food allergies.

Panbury's Double Crust Pies is a low-key spot in Atlanta, specializing in South African-inspired handheld pies, along with sweets and coffee. The menu features a variety of savory double-crust meat pies, as well as sweet fruit and dessert pies like blueberry, Key lime, and apple. The miniature dessert pies are perfect for those looking for a sweet treat without committing to a full pie.
The steak and stout pie was delicious, as was the mini apple pie. I wasn't as much a fan of the chicken and mushroom or the chicken and bacon. The crust is really good on all the pies! Service was friendly, although we ordered one pie we didn't get (we also weren't charged for it) and didn't realize until we were far enough away that coming back would be inconvenient.
Donella H — Google review
The crusts for all pies are savory & delicious. The pie fillings are stuffed with the desired choice. The apple pie minis were great, however if you don't like cinnamon, then stay away. They aren't that sizeable for the cost, but the tastes were very good. The breakfast pies were better than the chicken in our opinions.
Jonathan D — Google review
These pies are excellent. I'll admit a little small but nice flaky crusts and stuffed with filling. I've had their beef and brandy, sausage roll as well their mini apple pie. If I had to order finger foods for an event they'd be my top choice

I have adored this place for so many years. Their pies have always been delicious and service quick. I never realized I didn’t review it. But I will now though they are closing. I’m sad to see Panburys close. I swear I’ve been going here for nearly 10 years. I introduced my mom and she fell in love too. So thank you for all the awesome pies over the years. And good luck to all of you on your next venture. I hope Panburys makes a comeback somewhere in ATL!

We ordered the custom assorted pack. They arrived today still frozen. Wow, we just had the Country Chicken Pie…packed with flavor and the crust is so flaky and good. I could even taste the herbs. My husband kept scraping the plate and saying “really good.” Panbury is definitely a keeper! Thank you for a quality savory and tasty product!!! Pictures from start to an empty plate😊

Panbury's is absolutely a hidden gem within the Municipal Market. A lot of the market is kind of rough around the edges, but this is one of the spots there that is absolutely worth the trip. The staff is incredibly friendly, the selection is great, and the various sweet and savory pies are delicious. Highly recommend the classic chicken potpie.
Eddy G — Google review
Ordered their 12 pack double-crusted pies (6 flavors) from Goldbelly and had it shipped to Florida. They came packed with dry ice and were frozen when I opened it. Really pleased with the quality of their pies and flavor!! They do not skimp and the ratio of filling to pie crust is on point. My favorites are the chicken-based ones and the spinach and feta. Sooo good!! Each pie is about 5" x 3" and about 1" thick. Perfect for an individual pie serving. It takes about 40 minutes to bake and works best with an eggwash, but really worth it! I can't wait to visit this restaurant in person. They know what they are doing and know how to ship out their specialty for all to consume!!

Located in Atlanta, The Chastain is a new American neighborhood bistro that has gained attention for its sustainable practices and unique culinary offerings. The restaurant's menu is influenced by the availability of locally sourced ingredients from farm partners and an onsite regenerative farmed garden, resulting in frequent changes to the menu based on seasonal harvests. The establishment has joined Georgia Organics to quantify its local and organic food purchases, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability.
Came here for brunch with a couple of girlfriends on a Saturday. I made a reservation on resy and had to pay $15/person to book our table. I chose the covered patio area which is a nice option when the weather is good and we were lucky the weather ended up being good that day. I started with a matcha lemonade for my drink and it surprisingly worked well together. I enjoyed it. For food, I got a pea soup and the burger for my entree. Definitely enough food to make me full. We finished the meal sharing a cake they had that day which was good and the cream on top quite delightful. The bakery is always busy and because we were dining there we were able to order pastries from our server and not have to wait in line. I got two chocolate chip cookies and a chive and cheese biscuit to go. They were all very good. Make sure to order your pastries early as they might sell out of stuff. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She also had the support staff of food runner and busser. Our waters were always filled and our food came in a timely manner. They didn’t seem to need to turn the table that day so we were able to take our time and did not feel rushed and enjoyed a leisurely lunch. Slightly pricier restaurant but the ingredients are quality and the sit down experience is very pleasant.

Went for brunch. It was a nice experience. Professional and friendly service. Food was good but not memorable. I probably wouldn’t return given the traffic nightmare to get there. They offer complimentary valet parking as the only parking option. They have a kids menu with $12-15 entrees. Make reservations or expect to wait for a table in the dining room. Outdoor seating appears to be first come first serve. They allow dogs outside so there are tons of dogs on the patio.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out for months & was waiting on a special occasion to do so. My mom came into town, and I reserved a 7:45 dinner for us on a Sunday. My mom is a cook & is pretty critical of highly priced dishes, so I was a bit nervous she wouldn’t enjoy this. We ordered 4 courses: Sweet Potato Bisque, a single portion of Roasted Mushroom Campanelle, single portion of Veal Osso Buco, & the popular TC Cheeseburger. We shared them all, and it was PLENTY of food for the both of us. I am writing this now, 1.5 hrs later, still trying to digest. To keep things concise, we would order them all again, EXCEPT the burger. Yes, it’s as good as they say it is. But at the end of the day, it’s just a burger. There are more interesting options on this menu that are actually worthy of spending $34 on. Like the Sweet Potato Bisque & Veal dish. The two stand-outs of our course, judged partially by the amount of time we spent talking about them as we ate, trying to dissect each ingredient, so we can maybe try to replicate them at home. With these four dishes, we spent $105 excluding our 30% tip. Was it worth it? We both would say so, though the portions should be bigger at those prices. Was it filling? My mom got full by the end of the 3rd course. I would definitely come back here again for dinner to try the rest of this menu. Compliments to Chef Grossman. Other Notes: - Parking lots around Chastain Park are abundant if you know where to look. Valet parking is not necessary but it’s complimentary-ish (tips expected) with the reservation. - The atmosphere is great. Intimately lit, occasionally loud, but quiet enough for having conversation at a normal volume. Additionally, the bathrooms are nice & clean (but are single-person & there’s only two…?) - Hospitality was good overall. Our main waiter left more to be desired in regard to at least acting like he wanted to serve us, but his food recommendations were spot on.
Miguel U — Google review
I just absolutely love The Chastain. I can say with total honesty that I have been coming here consistently in the 4 years it has been open and it absolutely never disappoints. The seasonally rotating menu is always fresh, intuitive and surprising but there are some key staples on the menu that always delight (like the burger). The service is excellent and the vibes are always amazing. When I come for lunch, I 99% of the time order the sprouts salad with salmon (perfectly cooked medium), but when I come for dinner I typically opt for a shared pasta dish and one of their specials for the evening. I come here often and will continue to dine here. Don’t skip bread service ever! But, pro tip - ask for butter, sea salt and honey to dip or spread!
Chelsea R — Google review
Our server Shawnna was super thorough w/ the menu and recommendations. The food, the atmosphere and the attention to detail were amazing! A wonderful dinner experience from start to finish … 10/10. A short walk to Chastain Park makes the Chastain a necessary part of an evening concert there!

I had dinner at this restaurant last night and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect — the atmosphere was cozy, the food was beautifully presented and delicious, and the cocktails were incredible. The service was outstanding too — everyone was friendly and professional. I highly recommend it, 100%!

Love the pastries at the cafe, I’d drive over there just for them whenever the cravings hit!! Favs include: carrot cake with crispy top (gluten free but you wouldn’t know it from how moist and delicious it is, no wonder they always sell out), pan au chocolates, conchas either seasonal fillings (my fav has been mocha cream), seasonal croissants (currently with peach and cream). They serve delicious Brash coffee as well. Restaurant side is always crowded, but when able to plan ahead with s reservation, it’s a nice place to brunch / lunch after walking through Chastain Park. Chicken schnitzel with spinach spaetzle is fantastic. Valet parking is complimentary.
One B — Google review
We had an incredible date night at The Chastain! The food is great but I wanted to focus on how great our service was from Marquita - she was attentive but not overbearing; she was super knowledgeable about the menu and I could feel that she believed in the restaurants mission & vision. By the way the burger was worth every penny, I highly recommend it! We returned for our third wedding anniversary and went in for the tasting menu. If you can make it happen, it is so worth it. Our experience was better than anything we’ve done at “famous” tasting menu type places. The garden tour that goes along with it is also interesting and a great way to enjoy a drink before dinner or break halfway through. Highly recommend.

Little Tart Bakeshop, located in the Summerhill neighborhood of Atlanta, exudes strong French influences and offers a delightful selection of pastries and coffee. The shop is renowned for its delectable pies, specialty sweet and savory pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. Owner Sarah O'Brien's passion for pastry was ignited at the age of 14 when she tasted her first croissant in Paris. Since then, she has been on a mission to recreate that experience.
What to say about Little Tart other than they are hands down the absolute best for french pastries and bakery items. Their croissants are the stuff of dreams and the galette was legendary. Parking was easy because we went during off peak time right after golf.

Amazing food. Such a long line that moved fast. We had the blueberry lemon cornmeal cookie (a lil sweet for me but my friend LOVED) and the orange chamomile scone was divine (would get it again). The mocha latte I ordered hot was great with light sugar and had an emphasis on the caffeine which was nice. My friend had her usual the lavender matcha iced latte. Thank you for a great time and ambience

Celiac and gluten intolerant review My family has Celiac so I'm always leaving reviews for families like ourselves that struggle to find safe places to eat. Especially my little girl who struggles to be "normal" among her friends. I wanted to love this place. The regular food items were good and their drinks were good having been here previously on my own. However I was the only one who could eat, leaving my daughter in tears when we tried bringing her. Things I didn't notice last time: Lack of protocol for changing gloves & since we came specifically for their GF items, I need to leave an honest review. Do not visit this bakeshop if you have an allergy or Celiac. There's a ton of cross contamination & unfortunately the lovely barista never changed her gloves, touching coffee items, and then baked goods. I DO recommend this for regular patrons who don't have an auto immune disease. Like I said, I wanted to love this place cause it's so cute but unfortunately my family cannot eat from here ever.

Travel constantly for work. I look for croissants and cappuccino everywhere I go. I have been disappointed so many times. I arrived and there was a long line out the door. I thought, WTH, it can’t be that good. I waited. Ordered. It came fast once I ordered. ……. It was one of the best croissants I’ve ever had. Equal to the best. Don’t think I’ve had better. The breve cappuccino was perfect too. Turns out the line is earned. So many other pastries looked really good too. I wanted to be disappointed cause I didn’t want to wait for my coffee. But it was superb.

Highly regarded pastries - wouldn’t be able to personally review the food as 4 times in a row coming before noon, completely sold out of pistachio croissants which is kind of what they’re known for. Why not make more? Expect to wait 30+ minutes on a weekend to even be able to order, no real way to know if they’ll have what you want until you’re almost the register. Very poorly designed and thought out in that regard. Whoever does the business ops for this company blows. All 3 locations sold out by noon this time, who is doing the inventory management? Leaving a fortune on the table

I love it here. Vibes: cinematic styling of coffee shop with great morning sunlight. Gold & Green is calming and modern. A millennials dream. Seating: Parisian style marble bistro tables enough for a duet of plates and cups. Please do not squeeze 4 people on these little round tables lol Pastries : TOP TIER Croissants!! My fave is the praline escargot (it’s like grandmas southern pecan pie baked into a croissant roll up). The variety.*chefs kiss*. The Flavor combinations *chefs kiss* — items run out fast so get here early on weekends. beverages : delicious coffee. Quality tea selection (however — Grant park location has the loose tea offering which I prefer but I understand this smaller space cannot accommodate all the extra little pieces) ** note: if there is a looooong line ….be courteous if you are waiting in line— keep the door closed and wait to come inside**

South City Kitchen Midtown is a charming restaurant located in a historic bungalow in the heart of Midtown. It offers a modern and lively ambiance with an open kitchen, serving contemporary Southern cuisine for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The menu features inventive takes on classic Southern dishes, including gluten-free options. Dishes like smoke-roasted beef benedict and crab cake hash showcase the innovative approach to traditional flavors.
Average 40/person. Great food great portion. I tried the chicken liver as appetizer. Fried chicken and shrimp and grits as entree. Everything is authentic and perfect. The grits make my stomach feel warm. Shrimps sue good quality. Finally can’t forget the free but unique cornbread . Totally recommend!

Our brunch experience was absolutely fabulous. We started with cocktails, and both the Country Thyme Lemonade and the Midtown Mary were perfectly balanced. The Lemonade was light, crisp, and refreshing—not too sweet—exactly how I like it. Much like the deviled eggs, every flavor felt thoughtfully balanced and delicious. When it came to food, both plates impressed. The King Biscuit was a hearty, flavor-packed sandwich—generous in size and not overly salted like so many places. I loved it; the only thing that could have made it even better would’ve been a touch more sausage in the gravy. Then there was That Sandwich—and wow. The bread was perfectly toasted, the egg cooked exactly to order, and the city ham was incredible. The sauce tied it all together beautifully, making every bite memorable. Finally, a special shout-out to AJ, our bartender. Sitting at the bar made the meal even better—AJ’s warm, fun energy created such an inviting atmosphere that elevated the whole experience. Balanced flavors, standout dishes, and amazing service—this brunch hit all the right notes. Can’t wait to come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SOUTHERN COMFORT PERFECTION! Y'all, I've found fried chicken heaven at South City Kitchen! Showed up early for my lunch res and they welcomed me like family—even checked my luggage (true Southern hospitality right there). THE FOOD: Fried green tomatoes? Tangy-savory perfection. The fried chicken deserves its own fan club—juicy meat, shatteringly crisp exterior, and their housemade hot sauce is EVERYTHING. Collards retained actual texture (hallelujah!) and those buttermilk biscuits should be illegal. INSIDER TIP: They're super accommodating with allergies and the patio seating is primo. Yes, it's a bit $$$, but sometimes you gotta splurge for the best Southern food in Atlanta. Worth. Every. Penny.

Delicious! The food here is very southern and exquisite. While the pork chop and shrimp is good, the star of the show is clearly the side dishes: biscuits, corn bread and fabulous grits. I never thought I'd write about succatash, but, wow, it was fantastic. Topping it off were really wonderful drinks including a blood orange spritzer (not clear if that was the proper name). Very well presented and fun outdoor patio.

We found this restaurant on a whim, thanks Google! We really loved it because of its Farm to table style using fresh ingredients and a great fresh twist on Southern classics. We will be back tomorrow! The service was fantastic and our waiter was charming with a southern class. Things were running a little bit slow but that's because the place was so packed full of other hungry diners.

Ray's on the River offers an intimate dining experience with stunning views of the Chattahoochee River in Sandy Springs, Atlanta. The restaurant serves elevated Southern seafood dishes and provides a scenic escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Guests can enjoy fresh oysters, New Orleans BBQ shrimp, and a variety of wines while taking in the picturesque surroundings. The outdoor patio is perfect for savoring gourmet bites from their extensive menu, making it a must-visit spot for outdoor dining enthusiasts.
My first visit here was with two good friends for a business dinner, and it couldn’t have been better. The restaurant is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The wine selection is outstanding, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. We ordered “family style” so we could share and taste more dishes together. The oysters were fresh and fantastic, and the steaks arrived exactly as we ordered them—perfectly cooked (something many restaurants often miss, but not here!). A truly memorable evening in every way. I’ll definitely be back!

We were celebrating my beautiful friend's birthday. The view from our table was breathtaking as you can see in the pictures. Our waiter was a very experienced older man who was very pleasant. He took very good care of us. We shared a calamari and the fish tacos. It all was so tasteful and done to perfection. I do wish though when they know it is a birthday that they would serve some sort of dessert to the birthday person. It was a delightful lunch.

Went to Ray’s to celebrate my birthday with my best friend and had an AMAZING TIME!!! 🎉 We arrived right at 5 and had no trouble finding free parking in the main lot. Our table was ready exactly at our reservation time, which was a great start. Our waitress, Britney, was so sweet and attentive! She gave us some great recommendations, and we decided on the Blackened Salmon and the Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain with creamed spinach and lobster mac & cheese. The food was absolutely delicious — the mac & cheese was just okay, but everything else was perfection. The property itself is beautiful! 🌿 The river and garden views make such a stunning backdrop for pictures, and everyone we encountered was super friendly. Overall, it was such a wonderful birthday dinner and an experience I’d happily recommend!

I mean it’s Ray’s what else do you need to know? If you ask me, they should be bestowed a cultural asset. I love that however busy they are, I still feel like I’m the only guest there and to me that’s what true customer service is about. Service is always 10/10.. food can be a miss sometimes but they’re always willing to make changes to make sure you have a great food experience so that’s not an issue. It’s a great spot for any occasion - date night, girls night, family hangout, etc. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Their wine collection is so dreamy!

My boyfriend and I visited Ray’s for our four year anniversary. We had calamari and rolls for our appetizers and the ribeye and filet mignon with lobster mac & Brussels for our entrees. All of it was delicious and although my boyfriend CJ’s steak wasn’t cooked to his liking, our server Tangie took it back to the kitchen for it to be cooked longer and then it was perfect. We really appreciated our server Tangie and the management team coming to check on us during service. We also received a complimentary anniversary dessert. Thanks everyone for a great experience!

From the moment we arrived at Rays on the River, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning — the soft lighting, the view of the river, and the warm, welcoming ambiance created the perfect backdrop for a memorable dinner. But what truly made the night exceptional was our server, Britney. She was an absolute star! From the very beginning, Britney greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel completely taken care of. Her attention to detail was impeccable — she anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask. She offered great recommendations for both food and wine, and every single one was spot on. Britney struck that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth — attentive without hovering, friendly without being overbearing. It’s rare to find someone who can make a fine-dining experience feel both elegant and personal, but she did it effortlessly. The food, of course, was outstanding — fresh seafood and great sides that were worth every bite. But it was Britney’s incredible service that elevated the evening from great to unforgettable. If you’re visiting Rays on the River, do yourself a favor and ask for Britney. She’ll make sure your night is nothing short of perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

My experience at Rays on the River was phenomenal. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every detail of our visit was seamless. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall, it was an exceptional experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary!♥️ we had reservations and was greeted and celebrated at the arrival of the restaurant. Location of our table was right by the river it was so romantic. We had calamari and shrimp, oysters, red fish and seafood platter with Brown cake. Everything was really tasty. The seafood platter was undercooked, however everything else excellent! Didn’t want to complain, took it home and remade it the next day. Wasn’t as good, I made the best out of it. Waitress & waiter were great!!

French restaurant
Bistro
Cafe
Bistro Niko is a bustling hot spot in Buckhead, offering classic French bistro fare in an elegant setting with warm lighting. The restaurant's interior features grand ceilings and Parisian artwork, creating a romantic atmosphere perfect for a dinner for two. On Sundays, guests can enjoy live jazz tunes during brunch while dining on favorites like mustard-crusted pork belly, French toast made with brioche, and quiche loaded with ham and Gruyere.
So French. So cute. I’m obsessed. This Buckhead cafe is like a little escape to Paris but we’re in Atlanta folks. I got the traditional tuna Niçoise salad, and I’m in love. Fresh, crisp, balanced and everything you want in a cafe lunch. I can’t get over the decor. Perfect spot to feel fancy without trying too hard. Tres chic. J’adore beaucoup.
Sara G — Google review
Food was very good and normally would be a 5 star but the Skate although good was just swimming in way too much butter. Same with the spinach on both plates, again too rich for our taste. The French onion soup was also very good but I have had better. Glad we went and I would recommend just know it is very richly loaded food
Dennis V — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re searching for authentic French dining in Atlanta, this restaurant is a true gem. The moment you sit outside under the red awnings, you’re transported to a Parisian café—elegant, inviting, and ideal for everything from a romantic date night to a leisurely lunch with friends. 🥗 The beet and goat cheese salad was stunning—roasted golden and red beets paired with creamy goat cheese and fresh microgreens. Light, refreshing, and beautifully presented. 🥐 The escargot with puff pastry is unforgettable. Baked in rich garlic-herb butter and topped with perfectly golden pastry rounds, it’s one of the best versions you’ll find in Atlanta. 🧅 The French onion soup is pure comfort food bliss: a deep, savory broth layered with caramelized onions and topped with bubbling Gruyère cheese. Absolutely perfect. ✨ Service was attentive, and the overall experience struck the right balance between upscale and welcoming. If you’re looking for the best French restaurant in Atlanta, this spot should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!

Haven’t been to Bistro Niko for quite some time now, since moving out of Buckhead more than 10 years ago. I was given a Buckhead Life Dining Card from a coworker and decided to take the family. We went on a Sunday evening and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was nice, our server Aaron took great care of us. His recommendations were spot on. The soft shell crab and Halibut specials were delicious. Aaron checked on us frequently and also recognized me as a fellow hospitality person! I appreciated the dessert selections and made our evening memorable.

Food: Lots of items to choose from in the menu but we finally decided what we were going to order. We got the trio cheese board, and they were all exquisite. The fig crackers were yummy too, sweet and crunchy. I also had the French onion soup which I enjoyed very much. I liked the flavor, and the amount of cheese on top. The bread sopped up the broth and was yummy. I had the beet salad, which was great. The vinaigrette was yummy and the beets were nice and crunchy. For my entree I had the salmon with golden quinoa and citrus vinaigrette. Wow 😮. The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was soft and fell apart very easily, it was not dry at all, and there were even crunchy bits with pockets of flavor. The golden quinoa with the vinaigrette was amazing. It went from citrusy to olive oily in a very smooth transition. Finally, for dessert I had the tarte au citron, the meringue was great with little charred bits, and the filling was tasty, not too tart and still sweet. I liked the sorbet, but it was very tart. It was super refreshing though! Service: We had a really great server, Tomika (I hope I spelled it right) who was helpful and kind. She was very talkative and made sure we were taken care of. Atmosphere: This was really adorable, I loved everything in it. From the music, to the calming lights, to the cute pictures. It was very spacious and it was cool to see the kitchen when you first walked in. The ceiling was cute too with all of the lights and everything. Overall: I had a great, relaxed time. It was a great way to spend my evening and would happily do it again.

The service was great. You can tell how they care by the way he was teaching a new server. We were a group of 8, and he made sure to listen to everyone's wants.I ordered an omelette, it was good and enough to share with someone (I didn't, it was too good). If I can suggest something, it would be another option besides regular milk (cream, half and half, or almond milk).I had to switch it for a Mimosa (I guess, I didn't want only water). I will be back.

Nice place. I can solidly recommend it if you are in Atl and like the look of the menu. We Had some minor issues with food but all was handled absolutely perfectly. The seats were in were shockingly loud for a not overly crowded restaurant, although I also wonder if our seat location played a part. The food was excellent. Only 4 stars because it is what I expect at the price point. Shared appetizers, drinks and main course wound up being just under $100 per head with tip.

It’s really the little things in life that matter. And Darriana nailed it. Shot it right out the park! I’m came in by myself. A little treat on my birthday. A quiet lunch alone. She was so kind from hello. I really loved the touch of getting each others names. We had similar tastes, so everything she recommended I tried and LOVED. She checked my ID but didn’t say anything until I ordered desert and came out with a candle. It almost brought me to tears. I felt so seen and cared for. I WILL be back. Desta Ethiopian Kitchen is a popular spot known for its variety of exotic dishes, including plenty of vegetarian options. It's considered the best place in town to enjoy kitfo and miser, both served with soft injera bread. The menu simplifies Ethiopian cuisine choices based on your level of culinary adventure. Established in 2006 by two Ethiopian immigrants, Desta has become an East African staple in Atlanta.
I've been going here since college, as this is one of my favorite restaurants ever. The service is unparalleled - quick, helpful, and very enthusiastic. The ambiance is very welcoming, and there are always so many people (families, groups of friends, etc.) dining in. Plenty of seating, beautiful and lively decor, and - of course - the food is absolutely divine. The Vegan Platter is full of versatile options that feed more than one person, and for the price, you get so much food! 100/10 recommend!

We've been coming to Desta for years. I'm loving the new location. It feels so much cleaner and upscale than the old house. Injera is such a treat of you've never had it before. One of my favorite types of bread. Both chicken and steak are delicious and seasoned perfectly. Can't recommend this place enough. They're always amazing every time we go.

The flavors are just incredible and so unique, featuring a complex yet harmonious blend of aromatic spices that truly elevate the dish. The delicate balance of these spices excites the taste buds with each bite. The ground beef tibs plate, cooked to perfection with a savory, slightly smoky aroma, made me do the “satisfying food dance,” as I couldn’t help but enjoy every flavor.

1st time at this location. I used to visit the Clairmont Rd location in the past. Service is amazing and the food came out quickly and was hot. I ordered the Sambusa appetizer and it was yummy. The sauce was spicy to me but my friends loved it. For dinner we all ordered different entrees. I ordered the ribeye cooked with potatoes and gomen (collard greens) as my side. My friends ordered the chicken and lamb entrees with injera and miser (lentil stew) and shiro (chickpea stew). We al devoured our food. For dessert we ordered the dulce de leche cheesecake and baklava.

Murphy's Restaurant has been a beloved fixture in Atlanta for over 30 years, offering a delightful combination of restaurant, bakery, and wine shop. The menu features refined American fare made from locally sourced ingredients, with standout dishes like malted waffles with maple syrup and cinnamon butter, Georgia white shrimp and grits with poached egg, and Portobello frittata with goat cheese.
This is a great place! Met up with a friend for brunch and enjoyed the wonderful food (and delicious espresso martini and bloody mary) on the lovely patio. The staff was friendly and very attentive but not overly. Murphy's is located in the perfect place to take a little stroll visiting local shops after eating. Oh and the valet was great too. Only $3 (+tip of course). Looking forward to returning and introducing others.

Our server was Luca, and he was awesome! The ambience is so NYC, it's got jazzy music, great art and lighting. We ordered the eggs mulligan (5/5) and the chilaquiles (4/5, a little soggy). They tailor the eggs to however style you want which is a nice touch. Got an iced mocha, and it was great. They provide complementary biscuits and muffins which had a fantastic flavor profile and were moist. Great experience overall, will be back.

We ate here for lunch on a weekday. The place has ample seating, indoors and outdoors, and there were plenty of people there. We ordered burgers with side salads. The bread on my burger was much better than my husband’s, so inconsistent quality, but the Caesar salad and strawberry mixed salad was good. The patty was too pink when we asked for medium+. Overall a nice place to eat, but I will be trying something else when in the area.

The service and atmosphere is really great. There was plenty of seating whether you wanted to eat indoors, at the bar, or outside. Reservations are recommended for larger parties. Our server always kept our coffees and waters topped off and was extremely kind and responsive. The taste of the food is what you would expect at ~$20 dollars a plate. The brisket hash could’ve used a little more brisket.

Linda was amazing! This restaurant makes you feel like you are dining somewhere very very special and fancy. We enjoyed the chai latte tea and biscuits. The pancakes and French toast were everything that we were looking for. The service is top-notch and you will not be disappointed, especially if you ask for Linda. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch events, or any type of gathering. Thereservations were made and we arrived with a zero wait time. Our parking was validated and there is a short very convenient walk to the restaurant. I cannot wait to visit again and I would like to bring my family, including my children. This place is awesome. Don’t forget to ask for Linda.

Murphy’s was a very very very pleasant surprise in the midtown Atlanta area. The atmosphere was a 10 out of 10 soft lighting, romantic incredible. The service was a little slow, but the weight staff was very well-versed on all of the dishes. They really gave you information about the nuance and the bouquet of dishes we were very impressed. The barbecue shrimp left a little to be desired. They weren’t seasoned super well and the artichoke hearts were also seasoned inconsistently. The onion soup was a 10 out of 10 and the other appetizers were super.

I had a fabulous brunch here with a friend and everything was perfect! I love quiche and it was delicious. The side salad was amazing too and the perfect light side. We sat at the bar and every employee we interacted with was kind, courteous, and attentive. I also interacted with one of their managers, Alex, who was helping out behind the bar. She was an absolute delight and it’s so nice to see managers helping out when things get busy! I will absolutely be back!!

I took my youngest son’s girlfriend here so that we could talk and get to know each other. It was nice. I really love the atmosphere and the decor! I felt like I was in New York and famous or something. 😩🤦🏽‍♀️ 🤷🏽‍♀️. The funny thing is, it is small too, but it didn’t feel like it. Perhaps the windows make it feel bigger. I don’t know, but it didn’t feel claustrophobic. The bricks, the nice glasses even for our water, the clean large windows—it just felt really upscale. I gave this restaurant 4 stars because I can’t remember my food! It was only a year ago, and good food stays in my head. I don’t even see a picture of it, but I know the food wasn’t bad. I really would have remembered that. Anyway, it is a nice place.

Nan Thai Fine Dining is a sophisticated and elegant restaurant that offers a modern and upscale take on traditional Thai cuisine. The interior design exudes a Zen-like atmosphere, with authentic elements imported from Thailand. Run by Nan Niyomkul, the restaurant has been recognized as an AAA Four Diamond award winner for 15 years, showcasing dramatic signature dishes such as whole red snapper and fried-lobster-tail pad thai.
Really good. Excellent actually. Western fine-dining portions, with proper flavour. I expected to start with the tom yum soup (for which they accommodated my allergy to scallops, just ask) and have the Nuea Yang Nam-Tok as my main (I keep it light)… but the food was so good I actually ordered the dumplings after. The Nam-Tok was properly spicy and the spice options they bring to the table are authentic if you need a bit more. Service was remarkable. Seemed there was always a server when you needed one. When back in Atlanta I will definitely return. A thoroughly enjoyable meal with great service.

First, you'll need to pay $7 for self-parking, and I'm not sure how much valet parking costs. I recommend avoiding the fried rice, as it is not very authentic and lacks flavor. However, the chicken satay and shrimp fried egg rolls are quite tasty. Overall, I found this place to be overpriced, and the food misses much of the traditional essence. For instance, my Thai shrimp salad lacked the expected fermentation taste. They seem to cater to American fine dining, which feels like a money pit. On a positive note, the service was good, and they were quick to clean up our table and replace the napkin. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Be aware that they add an 18% gratuity charge to your bill when you check out, even for just two people. While it's worth experiencing, this restaurant isn't one I would choose to visit frequently.

Food is astronomical. Period. And yes buyer beware the specials do run much higher than the regular menu portions in my estimation. Mine cost 85 and 96. The Chilean sea bass on menu at market price and that's all you get. The special had 2 large shrimp and 2 large scallops. Now I had already seen this in previous reviews so it didn't come as much of a shock. However, after tasting the food, it was well worth it. I didn't mind at all. Definitely one of my best dinning experiences if not the best. In my opinion you definitely get what you pay for.

Had an unforgettable birthday dinner at Nan Thai Fine Dining last night! The food was absolutely divine - fresh, moist, and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight! But what truly impressed me was the upscale and elegant atmosphere. The ambiance was sophisticated and refined, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. I would highly recommend Nan Thai Fine Dining to anyone visiting the area. The service was impeccable, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Don't miss out on this culinary gem - book your table now and experience it for yourself! 5/5 stars.

We went here for a birthday dinner. This is so far the worst thai restaurant we have ever been to. We love Thai food and have been to many thai restaurants. we have never encountered any that was this bad. Would not recommend this place, especially for vegetarians! Before going, we called and asked (the same day just a few hours earlier) if they had vegetarian options and specifically if they had pad kee mow (drunken noodles). She said "yes" and she confirmed it twice. SHE LIED!! The options were limited and tasted horrible. Their food gave us a stomach ache later that night. On top of that the service was bad too. Atleast, our server was bad. For a fine dining restaurant, it was surprising that the veggies they used in the dishes were not the best choice. The plating was not good either. They did not even have the very basic thai condiments. And did I mention the food was flavorless. For the price, atleast the food could have had some flavor. Everything was way too sweet. The service was bad but they charge a 20% gratuity for even 2 people - no choice. Probably, the server has no motivation to provide better service. Would NOT recommend this place. There are better thai restaurants in Atlanta...

The space is thoughtfully designed, welcoming and intimate. Our server was warm and attentive and suggested that lobster was available to upgrade every single course including the soup. The food in my opinion was basic, nothing special. Ambiance and service are great and that's about it; however you must be aware of the dinner specials that are recited without actually revealing there prices. You will come to find out that a fish entree with 2 scallops and 2 shrimp will cost you an eye- popping $96.00 dollars which is not in concert with the prices on the menu. I believe that this was definitely a sneaky move. I also believe that a dishonest/sneaky addition of a 20% tip added each and every person that walks through there door without specifying that they were doing so.They actively concealed it.The check contained a suggested percentages of 25%,30%,35%. I wonder how many unsuspecting guests did not realize the sneaky 20% already charged on the bill. I've dined in many restaurant in this city and I don't think I have ever seen such a sneaky move anywhere else. I was very put off by this experience and they should be investigated for this deception and greed. Nan Niyomkul you are definitely keeping that Stereotype alive of being sneaky and greedy. Oh and that snake logo on your business cards is fitting. Atlanta beware of this deceitful establishment with huge smiles on their faces hiding a Machete behind their backs to decapitate the unknowingly. Jlewis

Had lunch yesterday it's been a while since I've been here. I was very disappointed they changed the Mediterranean hummus. I don't care for the new one and I miss the veggies on top☹️. It's really what I come for. The Server offered a side of the veggies which made it better but it's not the same. I got a kale salad which was great, along with the air fried chicken tenders which are not good at all. They are dry and lack seasoning. I sent them back and got Grilled Salmon which was pretty good. The atmosphere and service is always good. My server was very accommodating without making me feel like I was a pain in the butt.

I absolutely love the concept of this restaurant! The entire menu is anti- inflammatory. They have fresh items and everything is coked in house. They offer grass- fed options too! The ambient lighting and music were a great background to an enjoyable meal. I did the grass fed burger and season vegetables. The burger was so juicy it was dripping. The vegetables had a honey lemon drizzle that was so fresh and tangy but not too overpowering. I also appreciated that the calories are listed and some of the items have the macros on the website. Our waiter was excellent. He patiently waited for us to decide and made great suggestions. I hate I forgot his name, but we will definitely be back!

My husband went here with some coworkers a few weeks ago so he wanted me to check it out too. Big size restaurant with inside & outside dining. We came around lunch time but we were still seated right away and the service was fast. We both ordered from the True Trio lunch menu that comes with a drink, main dish & a pairing which is a soup or salad for $19.50 which most of the meals outside of this lunch menu was $19 or more so made sense to order from this Trio menu with the drink & pairing included. I got the Mediterranean wrap + seasonal market salad. The salad was good but the wrap was very messy to eat. It could be due to too much sauce in the wrap or simply due to the way the sandwich is wrapped: it was kept open at the bottom. Picture attached. My husband got the chicken ranch wrap + chopped salad. Overall he liked his wrap but same thing everything was just falling out including the chicken making a mess. We both got the Pink dragon fruit drink. It was okay, a little tart at the beginning. I wanted to get the strawberry lemonade but my husband said when he came with his coworkers one of them ordered it & he remembers him saying it wasn’t good. My husband had originally ordered the green tea but that wasn’t good so he opted to order the same thing as me.

The Silver Skillet is a classic Southern breakfast spot that has been serving country-fried fare since 1956. Its vintage decor has made it a popular filming location for movies and TV shows, including Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The menu features iconic dishes like the Lemon Box Ice Pie and Country Fried Steak with hearty country gravy. This breakfast-only spot in Midtown offers an authentic retro vibe alongside its Southern-style fare, making it a favorite among locals.
Breakfast was great today. The pancakes were cooked just right & good to the taste. Eggs, Grits, chicken sausage & hash browns where good to. I’m front the north and I put auger in my grits and didn’t need to today😂. But overall the customer service was great & nice. This is a great place to have breakfast💯

If you’re craving true Southern comfort, this place delivers! The breakfast was absolutely delicious — every bite was made with love. From fluffy biscuits to perfectly seasoned grits, the cooks here really know what they’re doing. The service was warm, welcoming, and fast. You can tell the staff takes pride in their work. Can’t wait to come back for another hearty, home-cooked meal!

These must be Martin’s Mommas biscuits. Very quality southern biscuits taste just like grandmother used to make. Most plates are around $15/$16 featuring one meat, grits and eggs, toast, or biscuit. I got the fried catfish and my wife got the corned beef hash. We both added hashbrowns. $20 +tip. It’s a small place, but it had maximized seating spacing. Service is prompt and food is good speed. Portions are ok but could be bigger. Crispy and tasty fish and tasty corned beef hash. Could’ve had more grits, more hashbrowns, and one extra fish strip. Nostalgic look all around. I see why movies were done here. I was very impressed with the large menu. Lunch starts at 11 and we were there for breakfast so we added this place to our favorites and plan to come try the lunch options. Very good menu and good side options. Good dessert list also. I tried the peach cobbler and it was a bit small for the price. It didn’t have the look at first. I’m the taste was good, but the dough is thick and not crispy like pie shell as I prefer. I’d recommend this place and come back. Plenty of parking on the side lot dedicated.

The Silver Skillet in Atlanta is a timeless Southern landmark that perfectly blends nostalgia, hospitality, and hearty comfort food. Family-owned since 1956, it’s the kind of place where the décor hasn’t changed and every detail feels authentic, from the checkered floors to the posters on the walls. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, with the smell of bacon in the air and friendly staff who treat you like a regular the moment you walk in. The menu is Southern comfort including their famous biscuits that melt in your mouth. More than just breakfast, The Silver Skillet serves up a taste of Atlanta’s history and heart, proving that some traditions are worth keeping exactly as they are. Where the past still tastes delicious.
Natasha T — Google review
Some places never need to change, and the Silver Skillet is perfectly content being exactly what it’s always been: an honest-to-goodness diner serving up breakfast classics without pretense. The hash browns are crispy-edged and golden, the bacon comes out properly rendered, and the eggs are cooked to order every time. This isn’t Instagram food - it’s comfort food that’s been perfected through decades of repetition. The atmosphere is pure Americana diner, complete with well-worn booths and coffee that keeps coming. If you’re looking for trendy twists or artisanal anything, keep driving. But if you want a plate of eggs, bacon, and hash browns that tastes exactly like it should, the Silver Skillet delivers every single time. For diner purists and anyone who appreciates consistency over novelty, this place is a treasure. Sometimes the best restaurants are the ones that never try to be anything other than themselves.

Great find for breakfast. I especially liked the country ham. Not sure how they cooked it or prepare it, but it’s less salty and softer than regular country ham. I’d come back into anyway, but especially for the ham.

No thanks. This is supposed to be a place that celebrities come to but I’m sorry I was not impressed. It’s just…dirty. Unclean vents, flaking paint and a bathroom on the outside. Food was meh at best. I had the meatloaf with tomato sauce, mashed potatoes and corn. The potatoes were not mashed and were not good. The meatloaf was ok but nothing to shout about. Service was spit on but that’s about it.

La Tavola Trattoria is a charming Italian restaurant located in Virginia-Highland, Atlanta. The cozy, exposed-brick interior and back patio create a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners. Chef Brian Moll's menu features classic Italian comfort food made with fresh, local ingredients and traditional culinary techniques. Guests can enjoy favorites like veal meatballs and tagliatelle Bolognese, as well as seasonal specials such as saltimbocca alla romana.
I recently had a fantastic dining experience. The service was exceptionally attentive and efficient throughout the entire meal. Furthermore, the culinary offerings were truly delightful, with each dish prepared to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant created a welcoming and pleasant environment. Overall, I highly recommend this Italian restaurant.

Had a great experience here thanks to an amazing server , Michael. He attended to every detail of our dining experience. Party of three. The food was wonderful, see pics. Service exceeded expectations. . Mushroom pasta, meatballs, calamari, rigatoni with vodka sauce, veal saltimbocca, burrata

A very good local Italian restaurant that does not attain the level of atmosphere or cuisine as a couple of my recent standout reviews. In particular, I was disappointed by the seafood bucatini, which seems on paper to be perfectly designed, but was one of the driest pastas I've had in recent memory. My date enjoyed her tomato-based pasta. However, the good service, stellar bread and oil, heirloom tomato preparations, and interesting tiramisu may be worth the trip.
Jayinatlanta — Google review
While visiting from out of town, we were lucky enough to snag an early reservation to dine on their patio. This place is popular for a reason. It was one of those all around great dining experiences. We started with the burrata and peach appetizer — then the pasta w/mushrooms, yellowtail fish, and bolognese. Finished with the boccone meringue dessert. Loved everything!

La Tavola is the perfect place for an upscale dinner with friends or family. Highly recommend making reservations ahead of time (and specify whether you want an inside booth/table or outside table!). As well, plenty of side streets to park on for free with a quick walk to the restaurant and square. We were seated quickly given our reservation, and were greeted immediately by our friendly server. He walked us through the menu, gave his personal recommendations, and made sure to check up on us frequently throughout our whole dinner. The ambiance in this restaurant is lovely, and it’s quite small and intimate. My friend and I split the veal meatballs with polenta which were mouth-watering! Alongside the fresh bread and olive oil given, it was the perfect start to our dinner. My tagliatelle bolognese, a classic, was delicious and fresh. My friend’s cannelloni was super unique with the lamb and cheeses fusing delectably. Overall, the price was typical for a nice dinner in Atlanta ($$$$), but very worth it given the service, environment, and delicious food!

Food was great, but there are a few better Italian options in the area. Service was fantastic. They fit us in without a reservation even though they were fully booked and have a small dining room.
Cyrill R — Google review
My boyfriend and I went here on September 12 around 7:15 PM. We did not have reservations, so we did not mind having to wait initially especially since they had a couple little tables outside where we ordered drinks to sit and wait. We were told we could sit at the bar if seats became available, only for the host to stop us from sitting down later when those seats became available. He said the bartender was holding the seats for someone who was “on the way.” Those people never showed up, and we sat outside watching the seats remain empty for almost an hour. A few other couples were waiting with us, and one eventually left because of how long it was taking. We finally got a text for our seats around 8:35 PM, and our appetizer did not come out until around 10 PM. The waitress was inattentive, and the food was average. It is a shame because my boyfriend has come here before and had a good experience but that wasn’t the case this time. I have no interest in coming back.

Ria's Bluebird is a popular all-day brunch spot located near Oakland Cemetery. The menu offers a mix of classic breakfast dishes like biscuits and breakfast sandwiches, as well as more unique options such as the Tofu Scramble and Bluebird Burrito. The restaurant, founded by Chef Ria Pell and Alex Skalicky, has been serving up Southern classics for 14 years. With its diverse menu and eclectic vibes, it's a favorite among both locals and tourists.
It has a very small parking lot. May have to park on the side of the street or in the lot next to it. Customer service was great. There was a large party waiting to be seated, and they were provided updates while they waited. Our wait time was 30 minutes. They seemed to keep the tables turning. Then we were next. I ordered the London Fog, which was the earl grey tea with frosted milk and vanilla bean syrup, but I didn't taste the vanilla. It was served with the tea bag in the cup. I ordered the fish and grits special. It was not your ordinary fried combo. It was blackened catfish topped with collard greens pesto and tomato jam. Served on top of pimento cheese grits. It was chefs' kiss. It was my first time there. I'm glad I got it, but I was sad that it wasn't a permanent menu item. I will have to call up there before I go now. Just to see if it will be served. There is a 20% gratuity on every order. Good thing service was great.

Met the famous John McVay for breakfast here, a historic building across some very famous Americans resting in peace. This place ONLY opens at the dot of 8 AM, not a few seconds sooner, heard there is long wait outside on Saturday mornings. They are famous for their pan cakes, I ordered the short vs. fat option and could not complete eating the short version, the pan cakes were well made, fluffy and perfect, if you like more syrup be ready to pay extra, orange juice, fruit and egg were all fine. Enjoy!

Wow is this place good. I came from out of town because my friend recommended me this place and I AM SO HAPPY that I came here. The food is incredible. I came for lunch and had their sandwich special, and their brisket melt. That melt is probably in my top 5 sandwiches of all time. Not only was the main dish good, but the sides and their hibiscus drink was delicious!! Atmosphere is so homey and everyone is so nice. Great spot. The pickles here are super good also, if that’s something you’re interested in.

I tried Ria's today and was delighted by the meal I had. Upon arriving, they had a small parking lot, but I decided to park on the street, because it was easier for me to get out. We put our name in for 3, we arrived near 9:45 on a Saturday, and the wait was only about 20-30 minutes. Everyone was friendly. I liked the uniqueness of the menu. Got a lavender iced coffee, and the syrup was delicious (house made I believe). I ordered the shrimp and grits. I must say the poblano peppers and maple reduction created a colorful melody of flavors and was so good. I would definitely come here again.

Longtime customers turned into never coming back again. Didn’t want to write this review. We waited an hour to be seated for poor service and a bug in our food. When flagging this concern to our server, she confirmed it was a bug but said, “That just means it’s really fresh!”. Upon returning from the kitchen, she started laughing and said we were all wrong because ‘chef said it’s the end of a green onion’. You be the judge if that looks like the end of a green onion. Server offered to comp us for the trouble. Once the bill came around, there was nothing comped. At this point, we’re about 2 hours into this and we politely asked about the bill. She seemed annoyed, and honestly like she forgot the comp but did comp our coffees and not the entree. For $72, we spent 2.5 hours on food with a bug in it and being gaslit. Really disappointed with this visit.

Pancakes and bacon were the reason for this stop, and they were both very good. The bacon was crisp, but not burnt. It was cooked to perfection. The pancake alone, was a good pancake tast, but not over the top difference from many others. However, along with the toasted pecans and the carmelized bananas, off the charts tasty! Real maple syrup tops them off. Now to the icing on the cake.....Rhiann, my server, was very friendly and interactive, but not disturbing. She knew all the items on the menu and described them with enthusiasm. Great conversation, very good food and an overall old fashioned, but welcoming atmosphere with music lightly playing throughout the restaurant. Even the owner stopped by to speak to me while I was enjoying my breakfast. Everyone here seemed really cool! A MUST try if you dig a groovy breakfast!!! And ask for Rhiann!!

Home Grown GA Restaurant is a laid-back eatery in Reynoldstown, known for its locally sourced breakfast and Southern fare served in a retro country-diner setting. The kitchen is run by Kevin Clark, who brings a refined quality to the down-home and sometimes ironic menu. A must-try is the "Comfy," a black pepper-seasoned fried chicken biscuit covered in creamy sausage gravy.
Out son who lives in the area had been wanting us to eat here and enjoy real Southern Comfort food. The restaurant is a quaint restaurant on Memorial Drive in Atlanta. Once arrived, we were immediately seated. There was a bar to sit at as well as table seating. The waitress was as sweet as can be and very helpful. Nothing like Southern Hospitality. The restaurant has the feeling of a simpler time. The menu is breakfast/ lunch. I chose the fried chicken on a biscuit with sausage gravy (Comfy Chicken Biscuit). It was so good. The coffee was almost addicting. Portions are huge. I did bring half home. Love to return next time I am in Atlanta

I had breakfast at Home Grown GA and really enjoyed it. The place has a cozy, down-to-earth feel, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. The food tasted fresh and homemade, and the portions were just right without being over the top. It felt like the kind of spot where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a good meal without any fuss. I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

Super charming diner. Very friendly severs. They are happy to modify dishes and substitute as needed. Very affordable prices, good value and portion sizes. My husband loves the comfy chicken biscuit. While they do not have gluten free bread or waffles, they can accommodate various entries. I had the 2-egg, bacon dish and subbed out the grits and biscuit for home fries and strawberries.

I've been here previously a couple of years ago. I stay in the area not to far away more in the neighborhood now. I visited on 8-28-2025 and I sat at the counter. I ordered Chicken and Waffles here it says with eggs scrambled any style I didn't receive that with my plate. The waffle is big and they make it in house also the fried chicken which is breast meat fillets. I ate my waffle with syrup provided and I got as many butters needed at the counter. I ate one piece of chicken and took the other two pieces home food is delicious. I returned on 8-31-2025 for the Shrimp and Grits the grits are creamy and cheesey the shrimp are delicious. Next time I visit I'm going to get the shrimp and grits with out the garnish veggies which is onions and green and red bell peppers chopped or sliced. I like plain shrimp and grits because it's flavorful and you taste just that.

HEY HEYYY!!! It's me Kay Kay and I'm back with another review. If you're from Atlanta, then you should know this hidden gem. They have some of the best breakfast out here. It tastes so good it reminds me of grandma's cooking on a Sunday morning before church. I got chicken and waffles - if you know, you know - and my mom got shrimp and grits. Her shrimp were so amazing! Oh my word, I love chicken and waffles. You could really never go wrong with it. Honestly, it's simple and appetizing. We also ordered fried green tomatoes, and me personally, I'm not a big tomato person, but that right there!!! I couldn't get enough of it. Their house ranch is so yummy. I wish I knew the recipe, but anyway, enough of my yaps. Go get you some good breakfast RIGHT NOW!!!

This place is a gem! My dad told me this place has some good food and man was he 10/10 for this recommendation. If you are looking to get some “home cooked” meals then this is your spot. The food is too good! I usually order the chicken tender meal that comes with grits, eggs, and a huge crispy pancake. The portions are enough to share! The chicken is fried crispy! The grits are standard. Not made it though cause you can just season to your liking. My boyfriend enjoys their bacon too. It’s hard to choose another menu item because the OG is so good. The staff is friendly but if it is busy they will rush you will so the next people can sit down.
Yakira C — Google review
We got the comfy chicken biscuit and the chef omelette with a side of French toast. All were delicious. I prefer a bit more of a spicy/more sausage forward gravy but the chicken and biscuit was solid. The omelette was on point and the French toast was a slice of heaven.

Sun in Belly is a rustic, relaxed café in the neighborhood of Kirkwood with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus as well as craft beers. Alison Lueker founded the café in 1996 with a sincere passion for culinary excellence and developing local friendships. The food features intricately woven nature-driven themes that are distinctly woven into her gastronomic creations.
I’d heard about this place but this was my first time visiting and I’m so glad I did! I went with the hash with spinach, bacon and potatoes. It comes with a fried egg but I opted to go with the over medium egg and they got it just right. There are just enough bacon pieces to be experienced with every bite once I fork sliced it for better efficiency. Great portion as I was able to only finish half but looked forward to finishing the rest. Trevor, my server was helpful and kind which I greatly appreciated. The biscuit was a pleasant surprise when matched with the accompanied jam, yum. I paired my meal with a caramel latte that required nothing additional. The sun in my belly was definitely shining through 🌞

Sun and My Belly grabbed my attention with their menu. And it came recommended by two different friend groups so I had to try it. I like the vibe of the restaurant and it’s definitely a solid brunch place for Atlanta. I didn’t think it was too expensive. We went earlier in the morning and it wasn’t crowded at all. At our table, we ordered the pimento cheese, omelette, biscuit and gravy, scrambled egg, Panini, and the star of the show was the Belly Hash. I would recommend getting the Belly Hash every single time! The grits were delicious! I wasn’t impressed with the lavender biscuit so glad I went with the grits. All the other food was basic brunch. Everybody enjoyed it, and they even said their coffee was delicious!
Kenzie W — Google review
Sun in My Belly was not very busy on a Wed morning right around opening. The sweet iced tea was a bit too sweet for my taste. I tried the French toast with berries and the toast was thick. It was topped with blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and some ricotta cheese. It was slightly sweet even without syrup. The veggie omelet was tasty, however slightly smaller than expected. I wish there was more of an option to customize the French toast or other breakfast options with chocolate.

Space, place, and pace, this restaurant is perfect. The staff is always on point and the food never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable with a great mix of people. I really enjoy taking friends who are visiting because it's an awesome example of a fabulous, local, hangout. We had Sun in My Belly cater our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! From start to finish, the experience was seamless. Megan, our catering manager, was amazing. She worked with us on creating a Filipino-inspired menu, made the entire planning process stress-free, and even connected us with our wonderful coordinator, Autumn. The food itself was unforgettable. Chef JJ (Jennifer Jones) put so much love into every dish, and it showed. Our guests are still raving about it, especially the lechon, chicken adobo, and ube cheesecake. The chicken adobo tasted just like my dad’s, which meant the world to me, and Joe and I both agree the ube cheesecake was one of the best cakes we’ve ever had. Even the non-Filipino dishes, like the mashed potatoes, were outstanding. So many people told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we completely agree. Thank you, Megan, Chef JJ, and the Sun in My Belly team, for making our wedding meal truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to work with you again in the future and will be recommending you to everyone we know!

Le Bilb is a great atmosphere and vibe on the terrace . The food isn’t their strongest point being a limited menu and some items lacking, but some items are really good. Once you realize what works (charcuterie, mussels, burger, Cajun chicken or just drinks in my opinion) it’s a solid reliable choice. Where this restaurant shines and separates itself from the pack is the consistent top notch service. Which is very rare and hard to find in Atlanta these days. That alone keeps me coming back. You can tell by the tenure of the staff. They run a tight ship and you see people working there for years.

Food was good. And service was fast. They validated parking and that’s valid for two hours. Tried the rice noodles and asparagus and a couple of drinks. The cold press is not the greatest. But other than that it was a good experience. Ended up being $50+ per person

We celebrated our daughter's graduation at Herban Fix in Atlanta as she is an avid Vegan. Wow, were we impressed! Herban Fix is a superb and astounding establishment serving upscale vegan dishes where vegans or those wishing to try something different can flourish. They offer an extensive menu with countless drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The staff is really kind and accommodating, attending to all of your needs and consistently checking on you to ensure a pleasurable experience. They provided outstanding and elegant service in a calm, comfortable atmosphere with a perfect dimly lit setting. I love getting the vegetable spring rolls! They were thoroughly succulent and crispy. The tasty sauce that comes with it definitely adds to the flavor profile. I also enjoyed getting the oyster mushrooms. They were fresh, warm, flavorful, and crispy. They truly mimic the texture of real meat. Adorned by a delectable sesame soy glaze, this entree will forever be one of my favorites. My all-time favorite meal from this establishment has to be the spicy ramen with soy shrimp and vegetables. It's simply unbeatable! Served warm and steamy, its flavor profile cannot be outdone. The ramen is vividly delectable and expertly seasoned with silky, thick noodles. The soy shrimp is impressively chewy and quite delicious. It has the ideal amount of spiciness without being overpowering. It also has a pleasant crunch from the fresh vegetables! If you get anything, please get the spicy ramen! I also thought the carrot cake was delicious. It had a deep, sweet flavor and was quite thick and velvety. All things considered, if you're looking for a sophisticated vegan dining experience, I highly suggest this establishment.

First. I am not a vegan, and I’m not often exposed to vegan cuisine. I ordered the Seared Pom Pom steak which seemed to be one of the house favorites. However, when I received my order the texture was almost gooey. The coating for the Pom Pom steak seems to be some kind of flower, but each bite left behind a powdery feel in my mouth. Mind you, the rest of my party’s dishes were satisfactory, so not all of the food is without merit. The venue is dated with old decor and feels very catered to a business crowd. Would not recommend for special occasions. The service was fine, not memorable. I tried to swap out my dish for something else on the menu, but they do not allow swaps or returns. The restaurant does offer validation for garage parking so that is a plus. Overall, not bad for the cuisine they offer but a forgettable experience nonetheless. Dishes listed; Rainbow fried rice, Spicy Ramen, Seared Pom Pom, and Bim Map.

We ordered a lot of small dishes/tapa style to get a range of food and I am beyond amazed! My favorite was the scallion pancakes, I've never had anything like it, sweet and savory! The spring roll was absolutely another favorite. The staff was attentive and great as well! I'll be back! :)

The atmosphere was so great, and the service was very attentive and professional. But the food???? AMAZING. I’ll post photos of everything we got but my personal favorites were the ravioli appetizer, the Pom Pom mushroom steak (paired with the Tempranillo wine was brilliant, btw. They should start recommending this pairing), and the green tea cake was divine. It is a bit pricey, yes, but to be fair our bill was a bit high because we had 3 courses & 3 drinks each. It was worth it for sure.

This really is an upscale vegan restaurant. The atmosphere reminds me of Candle79 in Manhattan (no longer in business) with an Asian twist. The service was astounding; however, the waiter seemed to be walking on egg shells with the management. When we first sat down the waiter welcomed us to the restaurant, explained the menu but said that we need to keep in mind that we can't send food back and there are mo refunds. I've never been to an upscale place that has ever said this up front like this. Seemed like something that might be said at a lower tier restaurant. The second thing that we found odd was the waiter asked us to be careful of the menus because the management doesn't like when people accidentally put their water glasses on top. Keep in mind this is a paper menu, which seems out of place for the restaurant of this tier. If the management is that worried about the menus I'd suggest investing in better quality menus that are book style or a material that is waterproof (matte laminate?). Other then these two oddities the food was amazing. Next time we visit Atlanta we will be back. This really is a great restaurant and if they fixed these two things outlined above it would be perfect.

I am always on the hunt for great vegetarian and vegan food when I travel and Herban fix did not disappoint. The fried oyster mushrooms were excellent and the coconut soup really hit the spot on a dreary fall evening. They also have a great bar menu for some really tasty drinks. If you're looking for vegetarian and vegan, I highly recommend.

Gluten-free restaurant
Egg Harbor Cafe is a casual dining chain that offers American comfort food in a family-friendly setting. The Sandy Springs location features an extensive gluten-free menu for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
This restaurant, for a nationwide chain, stands out as a unique place for breakfast. It has a vastly, varied menu, to satisfy all kinds of graving. We have dined here already few times, and every time we are greeted cordially, and seated promptly. Pam, our server, has always been professional, attentive, and friendly, she is definitely a great asset to this restaurant. As all meals are cooked to order, rest assured you will have a fresh and succulent meal. I ordered the Sam's Swedish Pancakes; Yummy, cooked to perfection, accompanied with lingonberries and lingonberry butter. For a side dish, the Maple Bourbon Bacon, delicious, to surely lick your fingers! And I can't say enough of the freshly baked warm Biscuit, definitely an item to share! Breakfast for two, at around $70!!, but the service and the food quality justifies it. We will definitely continue to patronize this establishment.

It’s been a tradition for me and my team to have brunch here after the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk for the past four years — and I can confirm that the experience never disappoints! The service remains inviting, the staff is attentive, and the food is consistently savory and satisfying. Today, I ordered the seafood eggs with potatoes and a pancake on the side — everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. I paired my meal with their strawberry orange juice, which is such a rare find and complements the dish beautifully. The portions are generous, so I even had to pack the rest to go! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, which is why this spot has become our post-walk brunch staple. Another major plus — they validate parking, so there’s no need to stress about that. If you haven’t been yet, I definitely recommend giving them a try! Their extensive menu and seasonal specials make it easy to find something you’ll love.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service was amazing, and everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh and delicious! The homemade jam was next level—honestly the best I’ve ever had. The English muffin with jam was absolutely divine. We loved it so much, we bought a big jar to take home (only $7—such a great deal!). The fresh mozzarella was very tasty , my husband had Matt’s meaty skillet and he was obsessed! Ate the whole thing 😅 cooked to perfection. Parking was super easy too—there’s a deck right behind the restaurant. Even though we live two hours away, we’re already planning our next visit 😅 This place is so worth the drive!

A great place for brunch. You can sit inside or outside. There is a secure parking area that leads directly to the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The service was explemary. My server was happy to accommodate my requests without skipping a beat. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was great.

Great location and scenery, just down from Piedmont hospital. All of the waiters and staff were friendly and professional. Hanna made sure that my visit was exceptional. Fast service and a wide array of breakfast dishes on the menu to choose from. The Tuna-Cado sandwich was great, but I'll definitely be trying one of the pancake dishes next time.

Always a great experience at Egg Harbor. Was able to sit outside. It was a great experience. A Saturday morning, watching the cars and people go by while eating a great breakfast with good company. The freshly, squeezed orange and strawberry juice was great. I highly recommend visiting l, and enjoying all of the choices on the menu. The wait staff is awesome. They check on you and watch the table to make sure you have whatever you need.

Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe is a trendy cafe with modern decor that offers a variety of Asian-style breads, pastries, and cakes along with an assortment of teas. It has played a significant role in popularizing Asian desserts in Atlanta. With locations in Midtown, Buford Highway, and Duluth, it's a favorite spot for Georgia Tech students to study.
I've stopped in for treats before but this is my 1st time dining in. The chicken bulgogi panini was delicious but the waffle fries were soooo good. Salted just right! Then the lychee refresher was so good I hope they keep it on the menu even when out gets cold out! I ended up getting 6 more buns for the trip back to Charleston. Thank you, Sweet Hut!!

A great casual Cafe for college students. They have a good selection of coffee and teas. You'll also enjoy their tasty selection of pastries and baked goods. Need sweet treats for birthdays and special occasions? You'll be impressed with the gift boxes they offer. I was not impressed with the tofu burger. It was bland and a bit dry. However, the Samosas are delicious. They're located in the heart of Midtown, just minutes from Georgia Tech, Fox Theater, and Piedmont Park. During my last visit, I received outstanding customer service from an associate named Lana. She was very pleasant and made the ordering process a breeze.

Wow! The crispy Tofu bao and tofu fries with cappuccino made my dinner. So flavourful, I can eat again the next day. I bought a bunch of buns to go. Some toast varieties were sold out. Would like to buy more if I stayed longer in ATL. If you have been to the bay area, this is something similar to a fusion of Paris Baguette and the many wonderful Asian bakeries there.

If you have a sweet tooth and looking for dessert that is worth a trip out, try Sweet Hut Bakery. The food is fresh and everything makes you want to try it. It's a cute cafe and nice place to hang out. We ordered red velvet cake and Tiramisu, both were delicious and satisfied our craving for something sweet. They also validate parking, which is icing on the cake. I highly recommend.

Majestic Diner is a historic landmark in Poncey-Highland, Atlanta, serving classic Southern dishes since 1929. The diner exudes retro charm with its open kitchen where cooks prepare sizzling bacon and fluffy biscuits that sell out quickly. Over the years, it has evolved from a hangout for music enthusiasts to a family-friendly spot offering an eclectic menu of breakfast staples, greasy burgers, and Greek cuisine.
This is a great diner. Very busy which says a lot. Service was friendly but not overly so. The food was spot on and the portions are large too. My omelette came with grits and a bagel (I didn't know that) and was far too much for me. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back 😁

This gem is a must. The ambiance has a comfortable vibe. The decor is nostalgia personified. It's sad that the menu and hours have been shortened since The Vid of 2020. But the food is still on point for deliciousness. Soft, flavorful French toast with just the right amount of cinnamon. Bacon, while firm, is very pliable to the bite. The staff's always friendly and super efficient. I look forward to going back.
Cheryl M — Google review
Dependable food and service in an iconic setting. This landmark defines the idea of a retro diner. It has been here for many years and has been both steady and is occasionally refurbished. It's a favorite of the colorful poncey-highland crowd. The service is a caricature of diner service. On this morning, one waitress was busy with her own breakfast while waiting tables. The other was brassy with tattoos and deep, tip inducing cleavage. All of that aside, they were steady, I got my food quickly and my coffee never emptied. The food was good. The eggs were perfectly scrambled soft. The chorizo sausage links were tasty. The hash browns were crispy on one side while moist and tender in the middle. Prices are reasonable. They didn't charge me $2-3 each for additional eggs like other breakfast places do.

This is a great little diner in the classic style of American diners. Fresh food prepared fast and served hot. Breakfast is when I usually arrive. Everything you could possibly want at a good price. The Belgian waffles are awesome. The grits are homemade and the crinkle-cut fries are quite possibly cut from some of the largest potatoes known to man. I strongly recommend a visit!

Food was pretty tasty, but on the more expensive side for a diner. The omelette had great flavor and they were able to change out some of the ingredients. or.It’s like the ATL take on Waffle House or IHOP, but pricier. We did not have to wait to be seated - it was around 11:45am on a Sunday. The food did take awhile to come.

BeetleCat is an upscale oyster bar and cocktail lounge that offers a diverse menu of globally inspired seafood and custom drinks. The trendy shore-style bar, lounge, and restaurant features beachside snacks, refreshing crudos, raw bar specialties, and wood-oven cooking. We had brunch here a couple of times when we went to the Inman Park festival in recent years. The food is very good. Their service is great as well. However, once we sat outdoors on the porch, that area smelled unpleasantly - it stank. I wonder if some homeless people have been sleeping on the bench at night.

Came in for brunch and had a glazed donut, lobster roll and the shrimp and avocado salad, the biscuits and a side of fries. The. glazed. donut. was. SO. Delicious. It was just made, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, the glaze was the perfect amount of sweetness. Best donut I’ve ever had. The lobster roll was good. I like their choice bread, would order without the aioli next time. The salad was good as well but the donut was really the star for me. Would definitely come back. Want to visit for dinner too, their menu sounds really good. Other things to note: the staff was super kind and welcoming, very knowledgable and accommodating for allergies. And they have indoor and outdoors seating.

Dined in on a Friday night for a casual cousin meet-up. We were able to make reservations easily online. Upon arrival, the host kindly accommodated a last-minute increase in our party size without any issues. The service was attentive, and the teamwork among the staff was especially noticeable. I ordered the baked oysters, lobster roll, and fries. I had zero complaints about the food--everything was delicious. Although the fries didn't come with the lobster roll by default, I was able to order them on the side. I also appreciated that they offered the lobster roll warm, as it's typically served cold. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Edit: As promised, I returned and found that in the 29 days since I last visited they changed the way they serve the lobster roll ($44 each). The last time i was asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I always get mine hot. I didn't notice i wasn't asked this time until I bit in and found it not only cold, but chewy. When the server returned was informed they are to serve them only cold now. I'm so disappointed. Why change something so perfect? I was looking for a tasty lobster roll but ended up falling in love with the place. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were top-notch! I will definitely be back.

We were visiting Atlanta for the weekend down from Canada. The night before we checked out a different "award winning" restaurant, and we were frankly let down. We read about BeetleCat and gave it a shot the next night. The service and the food were amazing. 2 years later we are still talking about it, and it was the best place we ate at in Atlanta.

We had such a lovely time here - we were a group of seven and ordered most things on the menu! Everything was amazing, but our highlights were the ceviche, snapper crudo, beef tartare and Moqueca stew. For cocktails, would recommend the Fish House Punch and Tokyo Drift. Our group loved the coconut pie desert too. Thank you also to our server Indigo - super lovely and great recommendations!

This is the second time that I have visited this gem💎! It was so good. The first time that I had to come back again just to make sure that it wasn’t a fluke. This is a quaint little place that has indoor and outdoor seating, and nice background music. To say that the food is amazing is an understatement. This is one place that you would have to come in to try for yourself. The beignets are a must try! Every dish that I had was delicious! Throughly enjoyed my food here. Probably the most food I’ve gotten for the price in the city of Atlanta in a while. Ordered the French toast sandwich and the Grit stack. Demolished the sandwhich with the fried chicken, sweet enough didn’t even need the syrup. The Grit stack definitely a lot of food and grits were perfect not too thick or watery and the biscuit was fluffy and awesome with the jelly. Service was a little awkward as we had to ask for water and took a while to take our order but wouldnt take that away from the restaurant. Plus a beautiful story especially how historic Kirkwood is to the city of Atlanta. Would come back to chill outside and eat again.

Had an amazing impromptu breakfast date with my bestie. Haven’t been here in forever and I’m so glad she suggested it. Also our serve Kelson was so attentive, kind, and has the best spirit. Truly can’t wait go come back.

Ordered via Uber Eats... I went a few times 10 yrs ago. Food was so great. I dont think I'd order on Uber again, tho. It doesn't transport well. I got... The Grit Stack - Grits & eggs were flavorless - Shrimp, amazing flavor, wish they put some of the juice in the grits - Veggie sausage was so good, you wouldn't even know it's not meat. I honestly forgot and thought it was turkey or chicken. I had to check my order lol - Cheese was just a glob in 1 spot. Should be spread throughout. It took some work to store it in. Rosemary Potatoes - Flavorbomb - def would get again - Mixed with grits for more flavor 1 Vanilla- Rum French Toast Sandwich - Flavor was great but didnt really taste throughout - Soggy in some parts. - Sausage is a circle so it only covers the middle of the sandwich. - Cut diagonally. Should be half so at least u can split the sausage through the middle and have it in every bite rather than only in the middle leaving just bread.

Bread & Butterfly is a stylish cafe and bistro that offers French-inspired dishes made with local ingredients. The restaurant serves expertly soft-scrambled eggs, cold-smoked trout, and an array of pastries in a European-style setting. The whimsical Parisian-inspired decor features marble cafe tables, bright green subway-tile walls, and leather barstools.
Just enjoyed a delicious dinner with friends at Bread & Butterfly. It was my first time dining at B&B, we made reservations for dinner and were seated right away. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We started off with the plantain buns, scallops and Haitian pastry. The scallops came in a very tasty curry sauce which we used to dip our buns in. The pastry was filled with a lovely seasoned beef. The chicken was moist and paired so well with the wine reduction sauce. The risotto was filled with herbs. Needless to say we ate it all! Great night out with friends with great food!

Very good food. I had the lamb belly ummm melts in your mouth..just enough char and very flavorful and tender. The pork ribs were delicious and also very tender. The plantain bread was a surprisingly delicious 😋 treat. The chicken was amazing. I cant wait to go back for brunch so I can get more of those famously delicious biscuits. Great job everyone! The Chef Demetrius Brown is a genius and a very nice guy.

Everything was amazing here. The food, the service, and the beautiful interior of the restaurant. I had the best salmon toast I’ve had in my life so far. It had all of my favorite ingredients in it. Also, my friend ordered the steak and eggs which turned out to be way too salty, so we told our server and the manager came out and offered to remake it. We did get it remade and it tasted a lot better. I wish I could come here frequently but sadly I don’t live here. I will recommend my friends to go here if they ever visit Atlanta ☺️

I enjoyed this experience immensely. I was greeted with a friendly face. She was quick with seating us and kept excellent communication with the kitchen and staff. I loved the presentation of the table. The coffee was delicious, well brewed and enjoyable alone. Cream came on the side which I added after trying the coffee itself. I ate the salmon toast; my partner had the aged prosciutto toast. I was amazed by meeting the head chef there on my first visit. Brown was kind and generous. I asked him where to go in the city and he said to come back for dinner. It was the best decision we made while there. The lamb melted like cotton candy. The pork ribs were savory with a little crisp/char on the surface. We returned on our last day in the city to take croissants to go because the buttery croissant was too good to only eat it once. I bought the other two to see if it compared!!

Nice brunch spot close to the Beltline! The mimosas were great and the prices very reasonable. We tried the ham toast, salmon toast, and the omelette—everything was fresh and delicious. My friends and I had a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

So glad I finally made it to this place! As a French person, it’s not easy to find truly high-quality, flavorful French-inspired brunch dishes in Atlanta that don’t just rely on a French-sounding name to justify the price. This spot delivered on all fronts — the food was absolutely delicious (the biscuit is a must-try!), and the cocktails were just as impressive. From the bartender to the hosts and wait staff, everyone was welcoming, kind, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. What I particularly appreciated, and what might not suit everyone, is that the ambiance felt more adult-focused. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed brunch date or a gathering with friends. I personally prefer a calm atmosphere when I eat, and I loved being able to enjoy a meal without the usual hustle and bustle of a family-focused restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I had a great experience at bread and butterfly. We sat on the patio facing the street with a view. The food was really good. While they didn’t have bacon, they did do fried hard pancietta which is bacon. My wife didn’t care much for her yogurt and granola, I tried it as well and it’s a little different but not because it was nasty, the flavor collaboration didn’t fit my pallet. I will be back on my next visit to ATL!
Mickey L — Google review
Nicest staff and great service everytime we go. And we have gone twice… In the last 2 days. The Manager, Chris, is outstanding and super sweet. We went yesterday and got brunch. It was over the top great. The giant pancake had great flavor, the gumbo and the shrimp and grits were amazing, as was the crispy prosciutto, The oyster mushroom poboy was also interesting and flavorful. Then went back for dinner tonight (we are traveling and doing food reviews). Totally different kind of menu and again, 10/10. My favorite was Haitians in Italy and my daughter’s favorite was the djon djon. The plantain buns were different but really good with the chunks of plantain baked into the bread. Overall great experience and we will be back every time we visit ATL- which is quite often.

Henri's Bakery & Deli is a cherished Atlanta gem that has been delighting locals since 1929. Renowned for its mouthwatering roast-beef sandwiches, this beloved establishment also boasts an impressive array of baked goods. From classic birthday cakes adorned with rich buttercream frosting to delectable Italian cream and black forest cakes, there's something sweet for every occasion—just remember to place your order with a little notice!
You know it is special when ten people are very patiently ahead of you waiting to order. The Rueben was a 10 with the most tender perfectly sliced corned beef. To counter the savory, I loved the very slight sweetness in the sauerkraut. Highly recommend. The line moved quickly with a four person team taking food orders and cooking. Then, walk over to the pastry counter. Had to try the wedding cookies... the best! The chocolate croissant and chocolate truffle cake fulfilled the mandatory chocolate fix.

The Buckhead Henri's is the original Henri's, the parent shop of a set of bakeries-cum-cafés now found at other locations around Atlanta. It's a nice spot to stop for a cup of coffee, a pastry, and/or a sandwich. There's a lot of outdoor seating, which makes for a pleasant time in seasons that permit sitting outdoors with ease. On the food front, the offerings can be a bit mixed. My chicken salad sandwich today was good, in that the chicken salad was well-made and was a traditional Southern chicken salad with a bit of pickle relish (or something else with some sweetness in the mix). But I asked for it on rye bread and got white bread, instead. And while the slice of baklava I purchased to split three ways was generous and looked good, it had none of the buttery taste that traditional phyllo pastry always has, making me suspect that this baklava doesn't have butter in it at all. My lunch companions did succeed in getting rye bread for their pastrami sandwiches, but only after asking three times as the sandwich maker kept picking up slices of white bread to make the sandwiches. They said the pastrami was good.
William L — Google review
Unfortunately, our delivery was not as expected. Review the attached images as you will notice the sandwiches arrived mashed up and mixed. Also, the portions of some sandwiches were prepared with hardly any pimento cheese or egg salad while others had more than enough. I am disappointed with how poorly the way our order was prepared and the service I received to resolve this instance after Jasmine and another catering rep offered to return my call promptly and drop off more sandwiches but then ghosted us.

One of the best spots to relax in Buckhead! Henri’s Bakery & Deli has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind with a coffee and pastry. Their cheese Danish is absolutely delicious flaky, buttery, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The French cheesecake is also a must-try, rich yet light, and full of flavor. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or just want to enjoy a calm moment, this location never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Customer service was top notch. Ham and cheese sandwich was super salty and French bread was stale. No pickle, no chips. Pretty lame for a $10 sub par sandwich. Pastries were pretty tasteless. With 2 sandwiches, 4 pastries and bag of chips and 2 lattes we were in over $50. Won't be back.

I just recently moved to this area and was walking my dog this Saturday morning and happened to come by this bakery. I opened the door to the bakery and my first inquiry was are dogs allowed inside. Two employees and someone I’m assuming was the manager all stated yes. I wish I had gotten the managers name because she was extremely sweet and helpful. I chose a few items from the bakery and then made my way to the breakfast sandwich bar where i was greeted warmly by the two younger men working the deli, but when it came to the older gentleman he asked me if my dog was a service animal. I told him no and he stated that she is not allowed inside and asked me to wait outside while he made my order…. This was very confusing to me as I was just told dogs are allowed and who I am assuming to be the manager spoke up as well and stated that she said I can come inside. He proceeded to argue with the manager and wave his finger at her and stated you are not the owner and dogs are not allowed. Even as I was walking away from the deli he was speaking very rudely to the manager. This made me very uncomfortable as he was extremely rude during this interaction and asking a customer to wait outside after already being told you could enter is extremely unprofessional and made me really uncomfortable. It was also extremely cold out this morning it was 45 degrees and he asked me to wait outside…. I will say the breakfast sandwich was good and the bakery is adorable! I also ordered a few sweet treats for my family as I was excited to show them the new gem I discovered. Unfortunately, I do not believe I will be coming back here nor will I be recommending it due to the customer service experience I had with that deli member. The deli member was an older Hispanic man and I wish I had gotten his name. If I do come back it will only be because of the sweet manager who tried to smooth things over after the interaction with the man at the deli. Again I wish I had gotten her name, but she was a nice Asian lady and she was taking out the bakery items for the day. As a dog owner I know animals are not allowed everywhere and if I was told at the entrance when I inquired about the policy I would have gladly taken my dog home and returned back to the bakery without her. However there is a way to go about reprimanding someone in a professional manner and unfortunately that mark was missed during this interaction. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for the team.

This is one of the best lunch spots in Buckhead. Always clean always has high quality food products and fresh baked goods. Excellent service and good coffee. They offer outside seating and a quiet place to enjoy a meal alone or with a group. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏾🐺

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and truly accommodating service! Amari is such a precious angel. My husband and I are newlyweds, and we decided to stop by after hearing so many great things about this place — and it did not disappoint! Definitely a go-to spot. Amari, continue doing what you’re doing — your excellent customer service shines through!

Gorgeous interior, great friendly service, extensive menu with fantastic flavors. When they say limit your experience to 90 minutes, they mean that, but it truly is still enjoyable. They accommodate group of all sizes big or small and everyone is treated the same regardless of stature. I even saw the owner bussing tables and running food. Sunday brunch service is definitely popular so come prepared to wait for a table. I ordered the Grit Bowl and my partner ordered the Chicken and Waffles. Both were home run hits leaving us full and satisfied. I already know what I want to get when I come back on a weekday. In short, come in, have a great memorable service, and get out. I love It. 10/10.

My experience at Gocha’s Breakfast Bar was pretty good overall. The food was the highlight of my visit—the pancakes had those perfectly crispy edges that made every bite enjoyable, and the bacon was cooked just right, not too chewy and not too crispy. The potatoes were well seasoned and full of flavor, a great complement to the rest of the meal. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable enough to enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything came out fresh and hot. Portion sizes were generous, and you could tell the dishes were made with care. It’s definitely a spot worth checking out if you want a quality breakfast with flavors that stand out. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a good mix of great food and good vibes to start the day.

Packed out on a Thursday morning for a reason! Food is 10/10 with plenty of options for us veggie girls. Service was so refreshingly friendly and professional for Atl, our waitress Molly was phenomenal! Music is great and not overwhelming, very nice and cozy environment. Definitely the best option in the area! Will be back (again and again)

The reviews I read before going were spot on—Gocha’s Breakfast Bar did not disappoint! The environment was warm and welcoming, and the place was spotless. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Cascade Sunrise Breakfast, which came with scrambled eggs with cheese, a biscuit, pork sausage, and creamy grits. I had the veggie omelet with pork link sausage, plus a buttermilk pancake, while she chose a waffle. Everything was cooked to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and just right. There was no wait, and the service was impeccable. Our server, Lawrence, was spot-on—attentive, friendly, and professional. The location is convenient, just a short drive from downtown Atlanta, with plenty of parking. Overall, a great dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I stopped here to buy time before my connecting flight. I sat at the bar and Tabitha was my server. Her service was outstanding from start to finish. She was attentive, and made sure to inform me of their hot sauce and cookbook without being overbearing. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about making my experience enjoyable. I ordered the Cajun Creole shrimp fish and grits. It was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the grits, which had just the right balance of butter and seasoning.

Food was incredible and our second time with Rome as our server and he took great care of us again!! We recommend 10 out of 10!! We will be back a 3rd time before our flight leaves Sunday. Edited: 3rd time was a charm finally found a place in ATL area that is consistent and good!! Had the peach cobbler pancakes and lets say I wish it was not just a special since when I come back to the area I want that all the time!!! Rome took care of us again and didn't disappoint he helped with food suggestions and they were spot on!! Can't wait to return!!

I had visited the Cascade location on my birthday. It was great to come on a day the restaurant wasn’t super busy. I had troubles deciding on my meal; however Lawrence came and saved me. He knew exactly what I wanted (of course I had asked what he thought I wanted because I definitely didn’t want any issues) but he was spot on. He was honest and very attentive. I loved his personality… it was very inviting and warm. Overall, the service was fast… the food, of course, was AMAZING. I had the “Cascade Sunrise” with salmon. I had a waffle but had to take it home. I loved it!

The Little Tart Bakeshop is a French-inspired pastry shop founded by Ohio transplant Sarah O'Brien in 2010. Over the past decade, it has expanded into three locations and earned the trust of Atlanta locals. The beloved shop offers handmade eats and treats, from crème fraiche quiche to tarts, as well as great espresso.
One of my favorite places for coffee and breakfast. It can get crowded, but there is a lot of seating so usually not a problem unless a busy weekend morning. Great pastries and some larger plate options as well. The staff is always friendly. I recommend a lavender latte and a ham and cheese croissant, but everything is good. Lots of free parking in the lot and surrounding streets.

LOVE Little Tart! I always get the salted honey oat latte which is amazing and not too sweet. Their olive oil cake and cookies are very good too. The space is airy and beautiful and lively with a good mix of people chatting with friends and working on laptops. I also love Little Tart After Dark. DO NOT park in their parking lot without paying!! I’ve seen so many people get booted there!! There’s street parking!!

I enjoyed going to Little Tart. There was a lot parking, but it filled up pretty quick. I got a croissant in the nitro latte and it was pretty good, I really like the croissant and all of their baked goods looked really delicious. I enjoyed the vibe inside, it was kind of like a Paris theme feel, and they had free Wi-Fi and the customer service was friendly. They also had outdoor seating as well. I would go back to try another pastry. It does get a little crowded near 9:30-10.

I am specific about the desserts I like and there weren’t many options on display today for me. I am a “wet bread”/soft dessert kind of guy so I like cake, bread pudding and soft chew cookies . I got the blueberry lemon cookie and a pastry that has some filling in it. Blueberry lemon cookie-taste like artificial blueberry and lemon flavoring. It was basically a blue sugar cookie. I wasn’t a fan. Pastry with fillling-it was flaky with sweetness and saltines. It looks great. The inside wasn’t filled enough for me and I felt it was just something to eat. The oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies looked a bit dry so I didn’t order them today. I didn’t see carrot cake or coffee cake. i’m not a coffee drinker and the food wasn’t the type of food I go for. A certain type of person likes this I’m sure!

If you haven't been yet, what are you doing with your life? Easily the best bakery + café in town. Their other locations are great, but it's tough to beat the OG; especially for the events they do there. After Dark is just as wonderful with the cocktails and food options. Lovely aesthetic and great service. The gougères and breakfast sandwiches are my favorite. My only issue is that I don't live close enough to visit every day. 🥲

Little Tart Cafe is a true gem. The service is fantastic, friendly and attentive from start to finish. Their pastries are absolutely delicious, fresh and perfectly baked. The space is spacious and filled with natural daylight, making it an ideal spot to work or get lost in a good book while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Plus, they offer Rishi tea, which is one of my favorites. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming cafe with great treats.

The Little Tart is consistently one of the top bakeries in Atlanta. Out of town friends? Take em here. Coffee date for two? Going to Little Tart! There's lots of options for chocolate lovers, fruit lovers, and those who like their treats more cakey or more flaky. What really sets Little Tart apart, though, is how consistently flaky their pastries are. There's not just a single layer or two, but the whole thing is! Also, their coffee beverages are all strong and come out super fast. You really can't go wrong with any of the drinks on the menu.

Pijiu Belly is a small hip spot in West Midtown that offers a fusion of Southern and Asian cuisines, along with an impressive selection of local beers. The restaurant was founded by Lili and Lenny Shou, who aimed to blend an English gastropub atmosphere with the flavors of their Korean-Chinese heritage. The menu features dishes like Korean roast chicken and unique ramen options such as Spicy Bulgogi and Spicy Dumpling.
I had the Ramon that had the rice as well with chicken boiled egg and veggies! I forgot the name of the dish but it was amazing!!! 10/10 recommend!! In my opinion I don’t see how everyone wouldn’t LOVE everything about the restaurant! The atmosphere is super cool and the staff are very friendly! The egg rolls were out of this world and blew my mind at how tasty they were! I ate until my stomach hurt!! You won’t regret going to this restaurant! It was my first time going and I’ll definitely be back very soon!’

I have been here twice now and simply love it! Sat at the bar where our server/bartender was awesome, said hey and took our drink order immediately. When it came to the food we had the crispy pork belly bites and Taiwanese Nuggets, there we delicious, cooked perfect. Lightly breaded giving that little crunch. The jalapeno-mayo dipping sauce was was perfect, I would've like it more if it had a bit more kick to it. For entree's we ordered the half Korean Tong Dak chicken and Scallion Pancake with sides of Asian Jalapeno Coleslaw and Mu. All of the dishes were full of great flavors. Not too spicy, just right in every bite. The chicken was roasted perfectly with a nice crispy skin and perfect moist meet on the inside, one minute less or more and the chicken would have been raw or dry. The dish needs some kind of dipping sauce for it. Like a duck sauce or something similar. The pancake was less desirable, the pancake itself was too thick and too chewy, literally had to pull it and rip it with my teeth. The taste was great but the pancake has to go. I would do it thinner and a bit more of a crisp on it and serve it with the roasted chicken with some duck sauce - make your own chicken wraps. Loved both the Asian slaw and Mu, they added the acid needed to cut through all the spices and great flavors. Parking is very limited, very. Come early, later or walk. Would I come here again? YEP, been here twice now. Love it!

Every meal that went past us looked delicious. The size of the nachos was crazy! Definitely trying those next time. We shared an appetizer of fried pickles, then a combo meal that had half a fried chicken, ramen, and two side dishes. Everything was fresh and came out quickly.

So tasty! Great atmosphere n service. Be sure main bartender David makes your drinks. I've visited twice. Truly enjoyed my rice bowl, my ramen & my half chicken. Housemate fries are tasty too. Definitely a spot to try. Sure I'll b back.

The waiter not only forgot my husbands drink order and dinner order, he never realized he forgot it in the first place. We had to remind him of the food order and asked him to cancel it after waiting for 20min while we ate my dinner. For it being slow, there should not have been a reason for forgetting 2 out of 5 items that we ordered. The chicken egg rolls were very good but the dipping sauce didn’t complement the egg rolls. The whole rotisserie chicken in Gochujang sauce with Garlic Soy was more sweet than savory. The portion was definitely enough to feed 3-4 people.
Jayna P — Google review
Firstly: the lot adjacent to the restaurant is very limited. Parking was a hassle. We were seated immediately but we waited approximately 25 minutes without a server coming to greet us. Once we were able to get the attention of one server, he treated us very kindly and was very apologetic. He got our orders and food came out reasonable quickly after the order was placed. The place was busy so we understand the slow service but I have to give 2 stars because the food was very lackluster. The place is great if you're there to grab beers and nibble on a snack to the side but if you're wanting a full Asian fusion meal, you're way better off going to somewhere on BuHi or Duluth/Suwanee. The food wasn't bad just didn't justify the price and the long wait we had to endure. Crispy pork belly was the worst of the appetizers that the table split. It was just chunks of fat battered and deep fried, hardly any meat.
D. O — Google review
As soon as we walked in the door we were met with quick, attentive, and highly professional service. It was so good that it left an impression! The food was out of this world. We got the crispy pork belly, the poutine, and the pork belly and rice bowl. Nothing was spicy which I had been wary of. Instead everything was sweet, savory and surprisingly light and well balanced (okay poutine aside because gravy and cheese curds can’t be light). I would absolutely go back and eat my way across this menu!

Nestled in Duluth's Nukoa Plaza, White Windmill Bakery and Cafe is a delightful Korean gem that offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for work or study. With an array of light bites and sweet treats, including frozen yogurt, this cafe caters to both savory cravings and dessert lovers alike.
Walking into White Windmill felt like stepping into a cozy garden café so much greenery and floral decor, I instantly felt like I found my happy place. The space is warm and charming, with a mix of rustic ironwork, cozy lighting, and flowers everywhere. It’s the kind of spot where you want to sit and stay a while. We came later in the day, so the pastry case was a bit bare (note to self: come early next time), but what we did grab was absolutely worth it. The raspberry-filled croissant was mouthwatering flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet. And the fruit tart? Perfectly fresh, light, and the ideal treat to pair with a chick flick at home. 🍓📺 This place is great for grabbing pastries and a drink, or just to soak up the peaceful, artsy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back earlier next time to catch the full pastry spread and maybe snag a window seat under all that natural light.

I recently visited White Windmill Bakery & Cafe, and it was an amazing experience! The bakery items were incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options that made it hard to choose. Their coffee was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the tasty pastries. I also tried one of their fresh sandwiches, and it was delightful—made with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The ambiance of the cafe was very pleasant, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, I highly recommend White Windmill for anyone looking for great food and a cozy atmosphere!

Was craving some pastries and my wife knows how much I enjoy Korean pastries. This place isn’t too far from where we live so we decided to give it a try. If you have never been to a place like this before it can be a bit confusing on what to do because there are no instruction or anyone helping you know what to do. Overall, everything we got was excellence and will be back for sure. The prices are reasonable and we our time there.

The line was to the door, and I was initially judging everyone walking around with baskets of bread stacked so high they could barely see over them. Like…calm down, is it that good? Then I tried their garlic bread and immediately found myself back in line, basket in hand, ready to join the cult. My husband got their bacon egg and cheese brioche sandwich and couldn’t stop talking about it like it was life-changing. I got the crispy chicken brioche, and honestly, the chicken was so overcooked it felt like chewing sadness. Couldn’t even finish it. I even went up to the sandwich bar to ask for extra spicy mayo (which already comes on it) because it was so dry, but they completely ignored me. My husband had to go back up and ask again on my behalf because I really wanted to try and finish it like a responsible adult who doesn’t waste food. It also took 30 minutes to get my coffee…my food actually came out before my coffee did. When I approached the counter to ask about it, they just shrugged and said their manager lost it. Like…what do you mean you lost my coffee? Did it run away? Overall, come for the garlic bread, stay for the garlic bread. But seriously, get the garlic bread.

Great spot for milk tea, desserts, fresh sandwiches. Quality is consistently good and so is the atmosphere. We got the avocado egg sandwich, back and egg sandwich, honeydew milk tea with popping boba, and the most amazing strawberry custard croissant. Would I recommend this to anyone keen on having a good casual meal
Kaustubh M — Google review
After social media has been abuzz with the new White Windmill Buckhead location, it was worth paying a visit to the original Buford Hwy location, which has been a local staple. Sadly, the Strawberries and Cream Cake was highly disappointing, lacking in berries and primarily consisting of a very light whipped cream. Plus, there was little-to-any sweetness. For the tall price, the slice provided was painfully small, too. Nonetheless, I particularly enjoyed the Filled Croissant Roll. As it was the last one in the display and sat near the “Red Velvet Croissant Roll” label, I thought it would evoke the classic richness of a red velvet cake. Instead, the exterior icing faintly tasted of tart fruit (perhaps strawberries), and the interior consisted partly of a plain custard tasting lightly of eggs and vanilla. I wonder what type of roll it was meant to be, but objectively, it was decent overall. With the stale nature of the baked goods, this experience was a disappointment. Even though this location is open until late at night, I would caution against going later in the day when the baked goods are in low stock and have been sitting out for a while.

Their signature mimosas and brunch-inspired cocktails are also highly recommended.
Let's start off with we where walk-in for this restaurant. No reservations setup and was told 20 to 35 minutes wait. Okay! Was not seat until hour and thirty minutes later. Nice! Greeting at the host stand, we were told who our server would be Gabby. Gary, introduction of herself by the table was great. Her knowledge of the menu and the bar was excellent. I had to compliment her on that and telling her how long did it take you to remove all that great job Gabby service well done!

Loved it here. From the music to the food to the service it was really very easy place to have a long breakfast (or lunch) with friends or family! Video DJ projected on wall - playing House Music! The fried chicken was crispy & well seasoned and pancakes were fluffy with crispy edges❤️. The whole plate had powdered sugar - different, but great! The new thing for me was the Peach Basil Iced Tea - 😋tasty (but better over plenty of ice). Sister allergic to shellfish and they didn't well with keeping her safe!💜

I ordered this on DoorDash and made it my business to rate this place. The food was amazing…. I’m currently not eating meat and they have plenty of vegetarian/vegan options that are delicious. This was so good i order two days in a row….. food arrived just like the pictures and that oatmeal is fire….. well seasoned just like the grits….. i was initially going to go in and try them but wanted to stay in but next time I’m in town I’m going to dine it…. They do take reservations…. Try them out it won’t disappoint. I had the beyond wrap it came with watermelon as a side i chose…. I love thats even a option. I ordered the oatmeal i thought $14 a lot for oatmeal but naw price and amount you get was spot on……

Sweet Hut Bakery Cafe is a modern cafe with an Asian twist, offering a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and teas. The ambiance is cool and clean, making it a great spot to indulge in sweet treats. While the staff may not provide detailed recommendations for first-time visitors, the menu boasts delectable options like Red Velvet Cake and Tapioca Green Tea. The bakery's popularity draws customers from afar who appreciate its wallet-friendly prices and quality offerings.
When it comes to Asian bakeries, Sweet Hut takes the cake. I mean, when picturesque desserts taste just as good as they look, how could I ever be mad? I got just their macarons as a small bite after a large meal, so I’ve done them a disservice by not trying one of their beautiful selection of buns and pastries instead (but this gives me a reason to return!). Still, though, the flavors of the Mocha and Mango macarons were phenomenal - perfectly sweet and packed with flavor! Paired with the beautiful interior, this is a lovely location for a worthwhile sweet treat.

I came here to get a nice refreshing drink. There's a bunch of wooden tables with a few outlets found along the walls. There are some booths in the back with a power strip for each table. The menu is vast with lots of sweet treats to pick from. I didn't buy a pastry yet, but I think this place could be a potentially good cafe to study at because they serve coffee, tea, and pastries with lots of tables and outlets. There is ambient music and a free parking lot. Parking may be tight given the number of spaces and sheer number of restaurants in the Asian Square. I wound up getting a taro frappe with two toppings, but you can get up to three toppings included with your drink. Prices are medium-high for drinks. The cashier was nice when I asked her a couple questions. I think this place could be a bit more modern in terms of ambience or decorations.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner on the patio. Service was prompt, thoughtful, and kind! We started with a couple appetizers and enjoyed both the pimento cheese and chicharrones. The food was delicious and arrived hot and we didn’t have to wait long. All of the sides were delivered as we requested! Finished the meal with dessert and capped off a wonderful meal! This place never disappoints!

We arrived intending to dine in at a new spot only to be happily surprised to learn there were a speakeasy in the back. The staff was exceptionally skilled in very knowledgeable in all things from food to spirits. The vibe was definitely one you would want to bring a date to. I can't physically kiss the chef, but I'm sure the chef can accept my virtual appreciation for such good food. My only suggestion would be to slice the pickled green tomato into thinner slices, otherwise the food was phenomenal. Thank you again!

My husband and I recently got married and finally had time to go out for a nice dinner. It was easy to make a reservation and the speakeasy had seating available so we decided to eat in there. The service, food, and vibes were amazing! We will definitely be back and the staff even gave us this thoughtful card before we left. Thank you for making our evening special! :)

This is one of my favorite places to take visiting friends. The normal fare is fantastic, but the rotating menu of drinks and desserts is amazing. We always have a great time, and usually sample something new.

Wow. I feel kind of robbed. I was just charged $42 for a very basic lobster roll that is half or 2/3rds the size I would expect. I basically lobster and parsley on a what seemed stale mini hot dog bun. Really disappointing. After the mid Reuben a got in the past, seems like a BIG MISS. Cheers, Sean

We always have a great experience here. Our server, Merrill was fantastic in every way. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our dining companions really enjoyed the Funky Chicken. My husband had the Swifty’s Dream, which is one of his favorites because it is consistently excellent. My M.O.T. salad was flavorful. The fries were perfectly crispy and they disappeared quickly (a large is a great size for four people). We had chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake is made either goat cheese/milk, and it is the right amount of sweet and tangy. The My Fair Lady cocktail was delightful!

10/10! So glad this spot was on my itinerary. This was so good! Really delicious soul food. I highly recommend giving them a try. Everything we had was delicious. That cornbread Lawd it was as delicious as they say it is and was worth the wait. Our server Jamal was amazing! Great customer service and amazing food! Update: went back two years later food is still good. I think we ended up at a different location but service and food was still amazing

I've been so excited about eating at this restaurant. It is very unfortunate that my review is not a good one. Our bartender Will did a fantastic job of explaining the restaurant's concepts and menu items. Unfortunately the taste of the food did not meet our expectations. I ordered the white shrimp with crab rice and crab gravy he ordered the salmon with the fried corn and every entry we had had an overwhelming taste of oil. The fried cabbage tasted as if it was just grilled with regular cooking oil it was very charred and tasteless. The crab rice on my entry was overcooked and smothered in a tasteless crab gravy (brown roux)... The atmosphere and music was on point . The staff from entrance to service to exit were all very professional, prompt and happy to serve us! Thank you for the experience! Blessings to all! @joonemoyer

We were visiting Atl and stumbled upon this place. Amazing service from time you walk in....the restaurant has connections to Charleston, SC and I grew up outside of that area. The food did not disappoint.... but DO NOT be like me and get the Saturday morning.... not that anything was wrong, it's that you can get that anywhere...I should have gone outside of norm (but that chicken sausage is on point with a kick). No complaints and they do have a nice bar....We had a large party and appreciated grooving to the dj.

The food is truly up to Charleston, SC standards and taste. College friends from Charleston are here for the SWV/Escape concert and we stopped by Virgil’s to eat before the show. The food is delicious, really tasty well seasoned. The service is great. Everyone was pleasant and personable as were the other staff who came over to chat with us about Charleston and the other store locations in Atlanta. Our server was attentive. I would definitely recommend Virgil’s if you are looking for good down home authentic Gullah cuisine, This is my 2nd time eating at Virgil’s. I was able to eat some of the other delicious dishes the last time I dined here. We had the She Crab Soup, wings, egg rolls, catfish nuggets, house salad and cocktails.

My 2nd visit was great. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. The salmon and after church entrees was tasty.. I really wanted to try the flounder but unfortunately they were out for the day. Collard greens was a tab bit salty but I most certainly will return soon. Keep up the great work!

The service was fast and friendly. We had reservations but sat at the bar so we could enjoy happy hour. Most of the appetizers are half off for happy hour. We had sweet potato cornbread muffins, salmon balls, fried wings, catfish nuggets, rice and shrimp eggrolls, Mac and cheese and greens. The mac and cheese had the flavor but the noodles were mushy which killed it for me. The wings were my favorite from everything we ordered. Everything else needed more seasoning. The eggrolls were just rice filled eggrolls not much if any shrimp. All of the food was hot and fresh.

I visited Virgil's with one of my childhood friends who was in Atlanta for a business trip. We had a table reservation, but elected to sit at the bar instead. Our server Malik was very personable and made us a couple of proper Old Fashioned cocktails, which were not on the menu. Then, he recommended our food options, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We began with the Stawtuh Sampluh, which was a nice portion of some of their popular items, including eggrolls, shrimp, fried okra, and wings. For our main dishes, we ordered Slammin' Sammen and the Afta Church Plate. The Salmon plate was delicious, and practically melted in my mouth. Every item on the plate was seasoned to perfection, and my friend was very impressed with the freshness of the fried wings, mac-and-cheese, and collard greens on his plate. I will admit that the prices were slightly high for an establishment of this category, but the family atmosphere, large portions, and unique menu were impressive. Be prepared for a little wait after 5 p.m., because this restaurant is very popular. Overall, I highly recommend Virgil's for an evening out in College Park, and I would return again for another Lowcountry culinary experience.

How do you not have batter for your famous muffins and waffles first thing in the morning? I brought some friends here for brunch over the weekend. We arrived right at opening and all got seated immediately. I shared the menu with my friends beforehand so we already knew what we were working with. Most of us wanted the muffins and a waffle. Our server, Andrea, advised us that the batter wasn’t ready and had not been made so it would be a few hours before they were ready. The restaurant has a two hour time limit on tables so that wasn’t going to work. We scratched the muffins and waffles although we were all disappointed. One of my friends asked to substitute the French toast sticks for the waffle (that they didn’t have) and was told they don’t do substitutions. How Sway when you didn’t mix the batter the night before like you should have? Tuh…..okay, so moving on. I ordered the shrimp and grits with crab sauce. It looked like my grits came from two different pots. One half of the bowl was really thin and runny while the other half was thicker with more consistency. The shrimp were really good, but the grits didn’t do it for me; not well seasoned and that consistency was confusing. The French toast sticks and breakfast rolls were the bomb. Someone at the table ordered wings and they didn’t do it for them either. They were not well seasoned …….how though? I had a higher expectation of the flavor of this food based on the name and description of the restaurant. I was not blown away by the taste of the food or the lack of preparation. What I did like was how well the staff worked together to get food out to the tables. I liked the decor of the space and the vibe. The prices were reasonable and there was ample parking in the lot around the corner. I would definitely go back, I just know what not to get.

The Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta is a luxurious retreat located in the heart of Midtown, offering posh rooms and suites with a residential feel. The hotel occupies the first 19 floors of a stunning neoclassical-inspired skyscraper and boasts an impressive marble staircase and crystal chandelier in its atrium lobby. Guests can indulge in upscale dining, relax at the newly unveiled state-of-the-art spa, or take a dip in the indoor saltwater pool.
This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I travel a lot for business and pleasure. What made this hotel stand out from the rest was the genuine hospitality and customer service. I was apprehensive about staying in Atlanta by myself. This hotel took wonderful care of me from the moment the cab driver dropped me off to the time a cab was called for my departure. Vincent was the nicest, most personable bell man I could have asked for. He made sure I got where I needed every day. My sister and her kids came to visit for dinner and the hotel did not make us feel uncomfortable for having kids, they welcomed us and knew it was cherished time together. They allowed us time in the driveway to say our emotional goodbyes. The concierge gave wonderful recommendations, the cleaning crew kept the facility and room pristine, the pool service gentleman made sure we were all set and safe, the room service server was a gentleman and polite. I could go on but instead do yourself a favor and book your stay here. You won’t be disappointed!

Stayed at the Atlanta Four Seasons with some friends. The hotel is very clean, well appointed, and service is top notch. We forgot a hair straightener and the hotel had one we could use, we forgot some clothes in the room and they shipped them to us! We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Atlanta!

From the moment we arrived at the Four Seasons Atlanta, we were treated like royalty. The level of hospitality and attention to detail was unmatched — every staff member we encountered greeted us by name and went out of their way to make our weekend unforgettable. Our room was spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean, with breathtaking city views and a bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The marble bathroom, plush robes, and luxurious amenities made it hard to leave the room! The hotel’s location in Midtown was perfect — close to Piedmont Park, amazing restaurants, and the High Museum of Art — but honestly, we didn’t need to go far. The on-site restaurant, Bar Margot, served some of the best cocktails and food we’ve had in Atlanta. Brunch the next morning was a highlight — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also took advantage of the spa and pool area, which provided a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. The massage was phenomenal, and the relaxation lounge made us feel completely recharged. Every part of our stay was seamless, from check-in to valet service. The Four Seasons Atlanta truly knows how to deliver a five-star experience — warm, polished, and effortlessly luxurious. We can’t wait to come back for another weekend escape! Would you like me to make it sound more romantic, business-travel oriented, or family-focused? I can tailor the tone.

“Google Local Guide Level 6 guy checking in here…” 👀 If there’s one thing I know, it’s hotels and food—and the Four Seasons Atlanta absolutely nailed it. My wife and I celebrated a birthday here on September 13, and let’s just say the morning came with an WNBA-level surprise: we bumped into Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever in the elevator but what surprised me most was she didn’t even ask my wife for an autograph ! 🏀🥴✨ Whatever…from start to finish, service was flawless, the spa was the perfect reset, and every restaurant we tried was outstanding. The location is sweet, the energy is classy but relaxed, and you can tell the team genuinely cares about making your stay memorable. If you want a hotel that’s five stars in both polish and personality, this is it. Four Seasons Atlanta—you’ve officially raised the bar.

I had the best 4 night stay here! I’m typically underwhelmed by hotels in the US, but the staff, service, and amenities here made my stay so special. No complaints the entire stay- which was especially great to come back to after a long work day! They would even ziptie my charging cables during turndown service which was such a nice small touch. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on, the hotel bar and in-room dining were great!

Amazing experience and place!!! Food was delicious and service was great, I wish I knew our server’s name but she was slim, darkskin w cornrows and glasses. Beautiful inside and outside! Loved the food, it came out fast and fresh. The food is so good I’ve been recommending my family and friends to come. The falafel in particular was my favorite dish that I had. It was absolutely amazing and the hummus is sooooo yummy. Thank you kitchen, servers, owners and managers for keeping up such an amazing establishment!

I don't know what to make at this place. It's a hybrid bar and restaurant. Not a bar with bar food, nor a restaurant with a bar in it. The menu is part Mexican part Mediterranean. The tacos actually exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't say it's the best tacos I've ever had, but it was much better than I thought when I was holding the flimsy menu and looking at people puff hookah smoke in the air.

On Sunday nights, this turns into a Sunday Funday spot. It has so much potential because the drinks and DJ are great. The bartenders are good, although they get a bit overwhelmed. My biggest issue, however; is how they treat the customers coming in. I know they have to perform some level of crowd control, but the security holds the line FOREVER and for what seems like no apparent reason. And even if it was legitimately a crowd issue, the security guard is extremely rude and treats the patrons in line as if they are an inconvenience. I stood in line for approximately 40 mins. I would suggest figuring out a better way to handle the door situation because otherwise, I will not be back. It was already strange how they ended the Sunday Funday when they converted from 10th and Piedmont, and now, all of a sudden, it's back. In a city as big as Atlanta, it's really a shame to have to beg to get into places that seem to not appreciate your presence.
Mike J — Google review
We were here for a bar crawl. We got into the space before it got really crowded. The space was not very big where the bar was, but the dining area was pretty spacious. There were two bartenders and they did their best to handle the influx of orders. One of them walked away after taking my friend’s order and never came back. She stayed at the bar almost ten minutes waiting for her order. The brunch item we ate was a waffle and chicken tender. The chicken tender was good; could have had a bit more seasoning. The waffle was just okay. It was crispy and flaky, but nothing spectacular. As the restaurant got more crowded employees were walking people to an area in the back. I couldn’t see that far back from where I was sitting, but it looked like an additional seating area. We enjoyed our drinks here and the ambience. The decor was really cute. It’s right on the corner of a fairly busy intersection. We paid to park on the street.

I've been dying to try this place and I am so glad I did! It was a rainy, cold day so other wasn't as busy as it has the capacity to be. To start, I sat - the bar per my usual. The ambiance is very cool and trendy. I ordered the Strawberry French 75, it was delicious! Strawberries are in season right now, FYI. It was a great way to start off the brunch experience. I'm so glad Amelia (or Emilia) mentioned it. Next, I ordered the C.B.C.B. w/a separate side of cheese grits. Amelia brought a small side of pineapple compote & a side of the strawberry compote to have with breakfast sandwich. The strawberry was a sweet addition to the bold cheddar cheese flavor of the sandwich. I skipped the pineapple - personal preference. The chicken breast was crispy & the bacon was plentiful and tasty! Overall, it was a great breakfast. I would definitely return.

I ordered the CBCB. This sandwich has thin, breaded pieces of chicken. Seems like a great idea, and the other reviews looked great. Mine was dry, overcooked, and chewy. The only thing I could taste on the sandwich was too much salt. I paid $6 for a side of 2 eggs. Not only was this too expensive, the eggs came out wet and undercooked. The texture was flat and slimy. Come on guys, train your cook or replace him. My meal was inedible. I got a refund on the eggs though and the server was very nice.

When we first moved to Decatur, Rising Son was our favorite and we recommended it to everyone. Quaint interior, good value for money, and friendly staff. However our last few visits have been increasingly mediocre. The breakfast dumplings have increasingly gotten less filling - with our last order being mostly dumpling with a half grape-sized piece of sausage in each with a large pocket of air (which may be due to frying too hot?), the fried green tomatoes however never disappoint and are a constant favorite, yet the bacon seems to be jerky-like and like it’s been sitting under a microwave/heat lamp for prolonged periods along with dry, almost crumbly eggs. Nothing inedible, but definitely seems like a drop from the home cooked quality meals we first experienced. Service is always good; but definitely has dropped a few rings on our brunch option list. Hopefully it’s just been a bad few visits, and their food gets back to the deliciousness we remember! ♥️

Star Provisions Market & Cafe is a gourmet food shop and cafe that offers a wide range of high-quality products, including cheeses, meats, seafood, and other gourmet foods. The establishment also serves breakfast and lunch. The owner, who is also the chef of several renowned restaurants in the area, has been instrumental in providing opportunities for female chefs to showcase their talents.
We happened upon Star Provisions by accident. It has wonderful counter service and plenty of open seating. There is a large assortment of higher end market items and gift-y options. We ordered the Pizza with Lemon and cream sauce because it sounded interesting. It was tangy, creamy and wonderfully balanced. The crust was the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy - with just the right amount of char. We also ordered the chicken salad which was absolutely phenomenal! The avocado was creamy and each component added freshness. I particularly loved the pickled onions and fresh herbs. If I lived nearby this would be a regular place for me, the latte I had was creamy and delicious. I was sad that I couldn’t try all the beautiful pastries in the case as well. Parking is plentiful and the staff was friendly and fast. Make sure to stop on by if you are in the neighborhood.

Went in for a quick lunch after my visit to a showroom right across the street from it. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Everyone was courteous and took care of us like we had been going there forever. Plenty of parking to begin with. Once ordered food was all tasty. The chicken spinach soup was delicious. The egg plant parm sandwich was tasty but I had to customize it to my taste with a little red pepper. The spinach pizza was cooked to perfection and the ingredients were all concocted to create a perfect all vegetarian pizza that the 3 of us enjoyed and took half home. The wait staff were extremely friendly and polite.

Star Provisions Market is a gem that blends European café vibes with a farmers market feel. The breakfast options are delicious—solid eggs and meats, fresh pastry, and a coffee program that delivers smooth, well-pulled drinks. The pigs in a blanket a croissant was especially good. The sandwiches are equally strong, made with quality ingredients and great bread, perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed bite. I also love that they stock items you can take home for your kitchen—pantry staples, sauces, snacks, and more. It’s fun to browse and pick up something special to cook later, all in the same bright, welcoming space. Great spot for breakfast or lunch, and a genuine market-meets-cafe experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Well, I wish I could have take the “star” out of their name to improve my score. We came here because several other restaurants in the area had non existent parking. We parked in their spacious parking lot between a sea BMWs, Mercedes and Audis. One orders at the count and the food is bought out to you. Service was friendly and efficient. We had a “Give Thanks” sandwich and a “Thai Shrimp Salad” with an ice tea and a “giant”? 8 oz coke, that cost of almost $40. We had to find the forks, napkins and the coke was not served with a cup of ice. The price is high but the salad I had although tasty was very small. I had to eat my wife’s second half of her sandwich to get close to feeling satisfied. Looking around the room it looks like the sandwich and pizza are a bigger portions for the same price. Besides the restaurant they have a nice selection of deli items, preserves, sauces and gift items.

We wanted a spot to post up while we did a little work and also grab a bite to eat at the same time. Our research led us to Star Provisions. It was our first time so we were excited to try it, especially since it smelled so good when you walked in. We ordered the granola and yogurt bowl, a chicken biscuit, and the Korean beef sandwich. The granola and yogurt bowl was nice, not too sweet, and the chicken biscuit was really good. My husband liked his sandwich but said the bread was almost too chewy and wished it had a bit more flavor, but he enjoyed it. Overall, we would definitely try the food again. The sore part of our experience was the customer service at the front counter. There were two employees working the front counter at the time of our visit. The guy seemed really quiet but made sure to greet us and answer our questions at least. However, the young woman did not greet us and seemed short and not very warm. As a woman, I never assume another woman has to do a show and dance of “politeness” to make others feel comfortable, but this is the hospitality industry. Being hospitable should be the bare minimum. My husband even went back to order something else with his coffee and asked if she had recommendations for pastries. She responded with a shrug, “I mean, it’s whatever you like.” She didn’t bother asking any questions about his preference or try to suggest something. You work at a bakery. Someone asking you for recommendations is not outlandish. He ended up just getting his coffee and leaving it at that. Didn’t want to spend anymore money. It just seemed we were not the type of customers she felt she needed provide above and beyond service to. The rest of the staff were nice, specifically the person who was going around delivering the food to each table. They were wearing a baseball cap. Based on the reviews it’s obvious Star Provisions is a local favorite and customers rave about the service. It was just not our experience. This was January 23rd, 2024 at around 2pm.

Hotel
The Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta is a stylish hotel that reflects the local fashion-forward vibe of the Buckhead neighborhood. The design of the 16-story hotel is inspired by Georgia's pottery heritage and features rich earth tones, bright colors, and clean lines. With 218 well-appointed guest rooms offering floor-to-ceiling windows, guests can enjoy a taste of upscale accommodations. The hotel's rooftop bar, Spaceman, provides stunning views of the Lenox Square District and beyond.
Staying at this Hyatt was an absolute dream. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like royalty—friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive without being intrusive. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and stocked with every comfort you could want. The amenities—spa, pool, dining—are all top-tier, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really sets it apart. Whether for business or leisure, this is the kind of place where every stay feels special. I can’t wait to come back.

The property was so clean and the employees were all so kind and accommodating. We had a great view from the Corner King Room. We visited Atlanta to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, and were surprised by the staff, who gifted him a bottle of wine and a sweet treat! Very nice! The valet was only a few dollars more than self-parking, so we opted for that. Also, the rooftop bar was great! We visited twice and the vibes were amazing. We had breakfast at the restaurant, which was delicious. Overall, a great stay and we plan to visit this property again.

Staying here for our first Anniversary, the expectations were exceeded quickly. Booking through the Hotel Collection through Amex, they upgraded our room, gave us early check in, and a late checkout. The room was spacious with a king size bed, perfect for our 3 dogs. And the view from the 11th floor was nice. The mall was right next door and it was fun walking around. The staff was the factor in making our stay very pleasant. They were friendly and their service was excellent, doing things I have never received, like taking my bags out of the car and actually bringing it up to my room. This was the perfect hotel to stay at for our First Anniversary, and if I’m ever in Atlanta again, I will be coming back here! A great hotel

My stay at the Hyatt Centric Buckhead was a disastrous experience that forced an early check-out. Despite pre-booking a month in advance, I was informed at check-in that the rate was being unexpectedly raised, and the manager who promised a follow-up call to resolve the issue never bothered to contact me. This failure to honor the booked rate and the lack of communication from management led to my early departure. To make matters worse, after informing multiple staff and managers that a critical business package was arriving and authorizing a family member to pick it up, the manager on duty refused the package upon delivery. The hotel's incompetence and total disregard for guest needs and communication caused a significant and entirely avoidable business inconvenience. I strongly advise against staying here.
Rehan A — Google review
This hotel is a cute property in Buckhead steps away from the Lenox mall, tons of restaurants and easy access to the Marta. Rooms are clean fresh and breakfast in the restaurant is excellent. Service was top notch and we had no compliants. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle, pool and rooftop entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

This hotel is one of the best hotels that I stayed so far for my business trips. The reason why I give 4 stars for the service is a bartender who ordered food without confirming with me on 7/29 dinner To Go order. I was at the bar and wanted to check the total of foods and drinks but she went ahead to order which is not good and professional. Also, she didn't even tell me to wait but just went to the registers to place the order However, the other bartender who took my To Go order on 7/28 was patient even I asked a few times to get the total amount. Hope she learns from him not to have this kind of unprofessional mistake. Other than that, this hotel is a real deal.

This hotel was so lovely and in a great location. It was very close to every where I needed to go while visiting. They had a cute rooftop restaurant that was poppin at night. I had breakfast at the downstairs restaurant and it was delicious. The avocado toast was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Self parking was super close to the hotel.
Kayla S — Google review
Me and my small family (2 year old) enjoyed our trip, here are my pros, and cons. Pros: -Location, right next to the mall, lots of shopping! -Rooms are modern, also has the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. -Hyatt employees, they make this hotel what it is, extreme professionalism (outside of the valet / look in con). -The BREAKFAST!!! best eggs and Benedict you can have!! Props to the kitchen. Cons: -Valet….. Phillip… you’re awesome. Older man on the shift, your need to show more professionalism. Kind of sad you guys are arguing right in front of my wife. -I get that it’s summer, but room struggled to reach 69 degrees. -Room noise, they have the direct inflow vent right next to the bed, super loud honestly, but acts as a white noise maker if you like that. -From past reviews, yes you can hear MARTA.. it’s not that loud honestly. Overall, a great experience in the hotel. Don’t think I’ll ever come back to Atlanta, but the hotel was very good for the price. -Pro tip, use your AMEX Platinum. Benefits here outweigh the extra $100 cost of the hotel.

Nestled in the charming neighborhood of Kirkwood, Evergreen Butcher + Baker is a delightful destination for food enthusiasts. This unique establishment specializes in whole-animal butchered meats and an array of delectable baked goods that cater to both sweet and savory cravings. Among their offerings, you'll find various interpretations of rye bread, with the vollkornbrot standing out as a favorite.
Ooo La La. We paid our first visit yesterday and it was worth our trip from Midtown. Everything we got and tried so far, so delicious! The sourdough loaf is soft, fresh absolutely divine. The chocolate chip cookies, right amount of sea salt sprinkles for the perfect taste. We got pork chops from the butcher, fresh, major difference from store bought frozen chops. I don't know what else to say other than if you can go, please do. And the service was impeccable. Going back. Bravo!

A cute little high quality spot! Easy street parking in the quaint Kirkwood neighborhood. I tried the fig and peach danish and a chocolate croissant. The pastry was so buttery and airy. A must for a quick bite!
Marietta W — Google review
I’ve tried almost all of the baked goods. They’re all super high quality and delicious… my one (gentle) critique is most things could use a bit of salt to bring out the flavors… I’m looking at you cardamom twist and ham and cheese croissant! Although, if they did this, it would make me want them more and I’m not sure that’s a good thing 🤣
Danika G — Google review
Delicious pastries! Mouth watering hamburgers (on Sundays)! Quality butcher! Such an odd combination but once you get in it makes so much sense. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and always such a pleasure to see, they make you feel welcome and at home! Butterscotch millet cookie is so frickin delicious, haven’t had a combo like that before. The pastrami and roast beef is house made and super delicious, they do a really good job, I often buy a lb from the butcher and use it for sandwiches throughout the week. The Sunday hamburger line can get long, but they usually make enough that everyone can get one, definitely an experience not to miss in Atlanta.

I finally made it to Evergreen! The pork and duck puff was mind blowing! The oxtail was ok, it was a little too dense. The almond pastry was delicious. The place is cool with some high end meat cuts. They have a few tables outside. Service was great and fast.
Ludmila S — Google review
Some of my favorites are their chicken salad, sausage roll (the special lunchtime Dim Sum-inspired roll is one of the best bites I’ve had all year), almond croissant (weekend-only), the chocolate almond croissant (I think that’s a special, too) and their gateau basque (shoutout to Eli for recommending it to me as I’d never tried or heard of it before). Also, my dogs love their sourdough dog treats, which means I come home with goodies for all of us! You can absolutely tell the quality and care put into everything they offer and as a result, I have yet to master the art of keeping my selections to a minimum each visit, so for now I’ll continue to happily throw my macros out the window- it’s that good. Thanks for existing, Evergreen!!
Sequoya D — Google review
This is hands down my favorite bakery!! Their kouign Amman is THE BEST. And I dream of the ham and cheese croissants. I love the variety they have- and the meat selection- while I don’t use as often, is also solid. They do a lot to support local farmers and the community, and I’m so so happy they are in Kirkwood! The staff is all super nice too.

I got an assortment of delicious pastries and the Blueberry Biscuit made my morning a perfect one. You’ll have to wait in line a while but it is worth every second. Also, their team is so friendly and welcoming. Great shop!

Fowling Warehouse Atlanta is a unique spot that offers a combination of brunch and entertainment. On Sundays, visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious menu items while engaging in fowling, a fusion of football and bowling. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make it an ideal place for gatherings with friends or even dates. The venue also hosts special events like Microwrestling, adding to the fun-filled experience.
Came here for a work event. Never knew this even existed. I thought it was a lot of fun and I was surprised at how difficult it was. The food was average bar food but the bar was well stocked and all the employees were very nice. Had a lot of other things to do like table tennis and had couches and tvs for sports. It's worth a try if you're in the area.

Fowling is a one of a kind experience. Harder than it looks, but it’s a lot of fun. I recently went for a birthday party and we had a great time. It’s a lively atmosphere. The staff were great and they definitely took care of us, helping to make for a memorable celebration! Special shoutout to Henry who was awesome. I would definitely recommend giving fowling a try! The wings and the drinks were good too!
Wesley A — Google review
I absolutely loved this place! It is a hidden gem, the service was excellent, the bartender was incredible, the service overall was great, it wasn’t crowded so we were able to enjoy ourselves and the fowling experience while challenging was super fun! This was the best date spot ever! I will also say the food and drinks were incredible, we had some nachos which were very fairly priced and delicious, some of the best nachos I’ve had in a long time and I’m not even exaggerating
Michelle J — Google review
We had the best time celebrating at the Fowling Warehouse! Joey and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing—so accommodating, kind, and easy to work with. They made the entire experience stress-free and genuinely fun from the moment we arrived. The food and drinks were fantastic, especially the mac and cheese bites—seriously, they were a crowd favorite and so addictive! The activities were so much fun—fowling is such a unique mix of football and bowling, and it had everyone laughing and getting into the spirit. It’s the perfect spot for people who love a little friendly competition and a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a place to throw a memorable and special birthday, I can’t recommend Fowling Warehouse enough. Huge thanks again to Joey and the whole team for making it such an incredible night!
John M — Google review
The food is pathetic. Dismal. Atrocious. Frozen, processed chicken nuggets. Terrible gray colored frozen sliders. Pizza that’s a step below Tostinos. They had some veggie wraps that may have been okay but they put rice in them that was crunchy and too much dressing in them that made them soggy and all you could taste was Italian dressing. The fried macaroni bites were ok but damn. Not a bit of nutrition to be found anywhere. I’m no health nut but I literally couldn’t eat anything there. My company threw an event and I left hungry and hunting for real food. The games were fun enough, but damn. That food….
Rory H — Google review
Took my son and his friends here for his birthday. It was not my first time. I enjoy this place. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. The staff is really nice! I will say this is definitely not easy, well not for me! The only downside is they do not have food anymore. If you want something to eat you have to deliver something to the location. That was a hassle in itself. Other than that it’s a nice place to go for a date or drinks and mingle. It’s never really crowded the 3 times I have gone. Check out this place I promise you’ll have a great time!
Lady J — Google review
Great drinks and service, but food was a bit below expectations. Not fresh or flavorful. Even for bar food. Fowling is pretty fun, harder than it looks, more fun than it seems too. Definitely worth the experience.

Coffee shop
Nestled in Morningside amidst industrial buildings, The Buttery ATL is a charming bakery offering an array of delectable pastries and breakfast sandwiches. This Holman & Finch-backed bakery is known for its authentic baguettes and mouthwatering Dream Cookie, a creation by Chef Jen Yee. Initially conceived as a pandemic project during the temporary closure of other restaurants owned by Linton and Gina Hopkins, The Buttery has evolved into a one-stop shop for baked goods and homemade meals.
Great food spot with a hip vibe. Tons of yummy options for lunch or as a sweet treat. Definitely going again but early so we can have a pick of all of the dessert options. The take away food options looked great.
Janean W — Google review
Disappointing. I got a chocolate croissant, almond croissant, and sour dough loaf. There was only the tiniest bit of chocolate in the chocolate croissant. The almond croissant had a better filling ratio but could barely taste the almond paste/flavor and was slightly burnt/hard on the bottom. Both croissants were lacking flakiness and overall were dull. The sour dough flavor was lacking, poor rise(ie narrower loaf), and crust was chewy given that it had been freshly made. The staff while friendly, were very quiet and hard to hear despite being the only person in the bakery. They did not have signs with prices/identifying what each item was so I had to ask what I was getting and had her repeat herself a few times so I could even hear her. Pricing was fair. Sad to say, there are much better bakeries in Atlanta and while their items look beautiful, the flavor is not there.
Kathryn C — Google review
This is a small shop with some truly incredible food. I picked up a coffee, donut, some of their freshly made (and incredibly buttery) saltines, and their cuban sandwich. Definitely gonna be back in the future!

This is a Hidden gem of ATL. I decided to try the place after reading the recommendation from ATL magazine and boy did I enjoy going there. The place is very unique, you walk outside and think what kind of a place is this but inside they have some delicious stuff. I tried the chicken salad, amazing delicious, the coconut soup for sure a recommendation, I made a mistake ordering the potatoes salad and didn’t realize it had pork in it since I don’t eat pork but I gave it to my neighbor and she loved it. For my appetizer I had the mallow crunch browner, super super delicious. The customer service was great and very friendly. I wish they had a table to sit because I would be there every day doing my work. I would for sure recommend this spot. And will visit again. Cheers BN

Found this gem from a search for sweet treats after lunch in Atlanta. Turns out there were way more options than I anticipated. A very nice selection of items, cheeses, wines, etc. My group shared the old fashioned apple pie and had a few coffees. We will be visiting again.
Trent N — Google review
It's rare post-pandemic to find quality -- but here, there's quality ingredients, quality experiences and the highest quality staff. The team here truly cares to make a connection and give you a positive experience. I hope they are being compensated greatly! I was shown around and oriented to each mini market counter: espresso, pastry, the deli area showcasing pre-made sides and entrees, cheeses, breads, and wine plus a full kitchen with made-to-order sandwiches. The beautiful Veggie Hearth sandwich, gorgeous and flaky croissants, and perfectly chewy chocolate chunk cookies were standouts for me, but I'm set to return to try the homemade spreads and sauces as well as the fried chicken dinners after 4 PM. Plus, the locals insist I try the famous muffleta and chicken salad. And if course, I'll visit their booth at the Morningside Farmers Market!

I have been wanting to try the buttery ATL for months! I am so glad I was able to come during lunch time to try the pastries. There are shelf stable pantry items and chocolates for sale. There is a lunch and dinner menu with soups and salads. There are delicious pastries and fresh breads for sale at the counters. The fancy toast is a croissant toast with frangipane and fruit. There is freshly baked sourdough as well. Everything we tried was so delicious. Jenn Yee is a pastry culinary genius!!

Southern Baked Pie Company is a Georgia-based pie company founded by Amanda Wilbanks, offering a wide variety of delicious pies with rich Southern flavors. The menu includes classic options like Apple and Cherry Pie, as well as popular choices such as Caramel Pecan and French Coconut Custard. Customers can order for delivery or pick up at their preferred location. Additionally, the company offers subscription plans for die-hard pie fans and seasonal treats like Chocolate Chess and Buttermilk pies.
Popped in here and picked up a slice of key lime pie, a cherry hand pie and a mini buttermilk pie. They were all delicious! I want more pie from here... Service was friendly. No seating or restrooms available.

This was some good pie! Pecan pie from Atlanta brought over to Vegas. Pecan pie filling was just right, sweet with a caramelised after tastes the crust pastry had a soggy bottom which wasn’t great, but the became the filling and the sides. The pecans are large and chunky giving the pie texture. Highly recommend the bakery.
Bushra K — Google review
Stopped by today after I was talking with a friend about how I would love to go to a pie shop and she recommended this place. We were greeted by the young man behind the counter as soon as we walked in. By the time we walked up to the case and started looking at the pies, the lady greeted us and asked us if it was our first time in. We told her yes, so she quickly ran through an overview of their offerings and gave us a sample of peach pie (pie of the month for June) to try. It was delicious so we ended up taking one of those to go for my birthday. She was incredibly friendly and bubbly, and probably a great example of true southern hospitality. The price point is definitely a little on the high side, but that’s because of the quality you are getting, and you can taste the effort and energy that goes into every bite. We will definitely be back.

My fiance’s favorite dessert is cherry pie- therefore I needed to find a good pie place for his birthday. I ended up getting the pie from here and it was incredible! They even went to their other store to get me one that was fresh. Ever since then of course we have had to come back here. The staff is always so friendly and we love visiting. And all of the pies are amazing! Love that you can have a dessert pie but also lunch with the chicken pot pies etc. We love coming here, so yummy! The best pies!

Lovely surprise in the heart of Buckhead! Strawberry pie is the feature of the month for May🍓As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely team who gave us samples of pie🥧They have fruit pies as well as meat and chicken pies. Very tasty😋Looking forward to returning very soon🥰

The best chicken pot pie I ever had. I ordered a whole chicken pot pie for the next three days thinking I was gonna have a meal each day. I did not, I ate half the damn thing in a sitting. Had to give a call to place to let them know. Whatever’s in that damn pie, I need more of em. Awesome staff as well, I messed up my order or DoorDash did for pickup and they were very nice in coming to a resolution. 20/10 will be back.

UPDATE: And then there were 2. My 1st review was not a good one, but boy did Southern Baked Pie redeem themselves! They replaced my petite apple pie as promised. I also received a cherry! I will forever be a loyal customer... not only because they've shown appreciation for my patronage, but also because the pies are simply delicious. Thank you so much!
L. J — Google review
Tried their Cherry Pie (in pic) and a Pot Roast Pie. Both were delicious! The crust was buttery and delicious, cherry filling the right mix of sweet and tart. The Pot Roast pie was tasty, the meat really tender and juicy. Great service; paid over phone and picked it up the next day, the process was simple and smooth. We got a Pot Roast pie on an impulse and the restaurant was nice to give another one complimentary. The best part was that the pies were well-priced and definitely worth it. I will surely visit again and will also recommend to others!
