I had heard about this place before and decided to stop in here for lunch one day. I went to the counter where I ordered and received my food and then went and sat down at my table. I ordered a number one combo which consists of two chili dogs and fries. I also got a Coke zero float. The fries and hotdog were good. I thought the float had way too much ice cream compared to soda. Overall, the food was good and it was a cool atmosphere. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

Chili dogs with coleslaw was good. Never had hotdogs like that. Fries were good as well. Onion ring was too greasy and could tell not fresh oil. Servers were all friendly and vibe of the restaurant was great. I think it's great for the experience but not the place I'd go back for food choice.

It’s been around a long time. When in Atlanta we try to make a trip. No nonsense service. But they’ve learned efficiency. Hard to choose between the fries and the onion rings - and the burger or the hot dog. So, we got some of it all. What’s your favorite at The Varsity?.

If you are a baseball fan then this should be a stop. Just know the food hasn’t changed in 20 years. I had the slaw dog and it was a good choice on a hot dog. My husband’s chili dog however? Not good at all.

I am a 65 year Varsity customer. I drove two hours round-trip today to eat there. The food has always been great but today was the first time I felt compelled to leave a review. The food was great again but this review is about service. I am recovering from neck surgery and walking with a cane - not always that steady. I told the man helping me that I couldn’t carry a tray with a drink on it and use my cane. He said “pick up your wallet, your phone, and your glasses and I will take your tray to your table”. Wow! A forty something year old black guy helping a struggling 70 year old white guy with a cane to his table not because he had to but out of pure kindness. Unfortunately I failed to get his name - but he made my day. Our country needs more people like this! He was a handsome black guy - maybe 45 - with a diamond earring - very friendly and personable. If you see him ask him if he helped an old white guy with a blue cane to his table today. I love the Varsity and I love Varsity people! After all these years they raised the standard again today!

My very first time visiting this location. Years ago I went to the Norcross location called the Jr Varsity. I was near here years ago when I visited Apache Cafe. I had to visit to see the food menu for myself and see how it's hitting. I got a #1 2 chilli dogs with onion rings and a orange soda. I also got a #2 chilli cheese dog and burger with onion rings. The food is delicious! This is their staple the way that they prep and prepare the food they got to be doing something right for this long!I also got a peach pie and a apple pie delicious! Look at how long they have been in business and still going strong. I visited on 8-22-2025.

Hadn't been to The Varsity in probably 20 years, this was a nice and nostalgic visit. During my weekday lunchtime visit, it was mildly busy but the lines were minimal and my food came fast. Service was excellent. Food was just as tasty as I remember from years ago.

So I've been here previously like 2 or 3 times. It's been a minute since I last visited. I ordered my food through Uber Eats. I got chicken lasagna with salad it was supposed to come with garlic bread that I didn't receive. I ate this plate for dinner and the other for breakfast. The food that I had the next day was white rice with black beans turkey loaf and cornbread. The food was good and tasty when it was warm delicious. Pull up and support if you are in the area. I got my food on 9-16-2025.

Cheap eats. Chicken was seasoned, lack luster salad and garlic bread. Mashed potatoes were ok. A middle of the road experience leaning towards just ok.

Paid respect and drove a distance to get a to-go meal at The Eats.. after reading Bob Hatcher's restaurant closing. The line of people was long, but moved along fairly fast. Once inside several items were sold out ( great sign for business) but other great dishes remained. I ordered their special, which was a meal ( jerk chicken) along with black beans and rice..added mac and cheese for later meal. Today maybe their last day of business- Their business maybe gone but never forgotten.. Here's Kudos for a job well done ✅

Eats restaurant was so amazing! The foods were delicious! We will miss and will keep memory in future. I can’t believe a lot people were in the line since after 11am and they were waiting until the restaurant was open at 12pm. I want to thank you to Benjamin who is hearing impaired and cooking/dishwasher for inviting me. I am supporting to deaf community (Ben, Neil and Janet) and eats restaurant. Glad to see Levi again.

I use to frequent this place often when I lived downtown but not as much once I moved. The BBQ chicken, Jerk chicken and their pasta always are top-tier. They will be missed and there will be a void left when they are gone. Thanks for the love you have for community and the service you provided.

What wonderful food - always good - at prices Everyone can afford. It is my cheapest meal of the week and also my favorite. Two tasty dinners, good veggies and a sweet tea...under $40.00. You can barely go out for dinner under $60.00 anywhere else. Friday's were easy...it was our go-to place. We got married on a Friday. Where did we eat? Our Friday place, of course. I didn't want anything else. I honestly feel lost. And this loss feels like a microcosm of all the other losses, both passed and yet to come. It's not Oct 18th yet and I'm hoping for a miracle. But if not, this was my absolute favorite spot in Atlanta and it ALWAYS will be. No grass walls. No cliché menus. No crazy prices. Just good old "welcome in" attitudes that made you feel at home. Amazing restaurant. Ive been going here since the age of 18 when I first became a comcast tech and its super sad to see it closing. The food is always hot, tasty and delicious every time. Over the past 20 years ive never had a bad experience. I truly hope and pray it stays open. Love this place.

Aria in Atlanta is a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, with attentive service that makes you feel welcome from the start. The highlight of my visit was the pork belly starter, which was perfectly prepared with rich flavor and a tender texture that melted in every bite. The menu offers creative dishes made with care, and everything is beautifully presented. It is a wonderful spot for a special night out.

I went here for my birthday. I am from the Afro Diaspora and I really enjoyed my food. Though I love Afro flavors this place was more plain, simple and unique flavors. It was not overly seasoned, but the food was still fresh & beautifully prepared. I had the beet salad which was so good. I came for the sole and it was good. I just squeezed some lemons on it to give it that lemony flavor. I also had the apple tart because I like tarts. I did wish that I had chosen the cakes. The tarts crust was perfect but the apple was sticky and lacked the fresh baked apple look that I would have loved on a tart. It was sticky and hard to slice. Overall my experience was great and I cant remember the young ladies name but she was a beautiful brown young lady with long braids or locks. I apologize for not getting your name, but you were awesome and suggested and accommodated my questions and my experience was great because of you and the staff. Thnx Aria

An amazing restaurant with high-quality food and extraordinary service. The homemade bread and homemade sorghum butter were amazing! Food is not only extremely delicious, but also beautifully presented. Sandra was our server and she was top-notch, as was the sommelier. Great place for special evening.

The food was great, the service was punctual and professional, and our meal was fine. Right up until we got the bill. It was unpleasant to find they automatically added a 20% service charge for 2 people despite the policy stated on the receipt itself that they only do this for groups of 6 or more. But what ruined this restaurant for me was that they included the Tax in the amount used to calculate the service charge. I'm paying them a service charge to collect tax for the govt? This is not a business practice I'll support, and is the reason I won't be going back.

It has been a few years since dining at Aria - first time was 2002 - this place has only gotten better over time - BTW - straight up - Sandra R made this experience truly special - great personality and suggestions on the food - even on the timing on when each course is brought out - one of the best servers ever - now, back to the food - just really really really good food - watch out though - there are shareable snacks AND starters - over ordering is very possible (this is a good thing, right?) - check out the pictures for the details - atmosphere - really cool design and I love the dark bar area when entering - cool colors and artwork - I 100% recommend Aria, and if you are fortunate, Sandra R will get your table

My husband and I dined here mere hours after our wedding. We were treated like royalty- the customer service was beyond magnificent, and the food was some of the finest I have ever enjoyed. Our server, Molly, was an absolute delight - not only welcoming but her knowledge of the menu was remarkable and she was devoted to making sure my husband and I had a 5 star experience. This was my personal choice, as a new bride, of where I wanted to eat after our wedding. I had never been to Aria before and it exceeded my expectations!!! The aesthetic design that went into the presentation of each dish was particularly impressive. This dining experience was a crowning touch to a magical day that we will always remember.

These must be Martin’s Mommas biscuits. Very quality southern biscuits taste just like grandmother used to make. Most plates are around $15/$16 featuring one meat, grits and eggs, toast, or biscuit. I got the fried catfish and my wife got the corned beef hash. We both added hashbrowns. $20 +tip. It’s a small place, but it had maximized seating spacing. Service is prompt and food is good speed. Portions are ok but could be bigger. Crispy and tasty fish and tasty corned beef hash. Could’ve had more grits, more hashbrowns, and one extra fish strip. Nostalgic look all around. I see why movies were done here. I was very impressed with the large menu. Lunch starts at 11 and we were there for breakfast so we added this place to our favorites and plan to come try the lunch options. Very good menu and good side options. Good dessert list also. I tried the peach cobbler and it was a bit small for the price. It didn’t have the look at first. I’m the taste was good, but the dough is thick and not crispy like pie shell as I prefer. I’d recommend this place and come back. Plenty of parking on the side lot dedicated.

Great find for breakfast. I especially liked the country ham. Not sure how they cooked it or prepare it, but it’s less salty and softer than regular country ham. I’d come back into anyway, but especially for the ham.

No thanks. This is supposed to be a place that celebrities come to but I’m sorry I was not impressed. It’s just…dirty. Unclean vents, flaking paint and a bathroom on the outside. Food was meh at best. I had the meatloaf with tomato sauce, mashed potatoes and corn. The potatoes were not mashed and were not good. The meatloaf was ok but nothing to shout about. Service was spit on but that’s about it.

This restaurant reminds me of the TV show The Bear—high-quality fine dining delivered in a fresh and unexpected way! All the chefs are hard at work in an open kitchen, each preparing their own special dish. Once it’s ready, they bring it straight to your table and offer it to you. You get to decide if you want it and how many portions you’d like. It’s an amazing system—such a great experience and absolutely phenomenal food! Every single dish was perfectly executed. I highly recommend this restaurant. We’ll definitely be back! Ps.: they customized the menu to say “Happy Birthday Brandon” for us! Great touch!

You come here to sample spectacular amazing beautiful food, not stuff your fat gullet. The staff is fantastically attentive, the sommelier is superb, the cocktails are transcendent, and the food is a blend of creativity, love, respect, and effort. You will spend money, but you will gain significantly more in a palette experience worth every penny.

Gunshow is less a dining hall and more an elaborate theatre, one where food plays the reluctant understudy to spectacle. They charge, mind you, not merely for sustenance but for art. Alas, one’s purse grows lighter whilst one’s stomach remains in tragic suspense often times. I departed the place not unlike a man who has attended a sermon, spiritually stirred, but bodily unfed. It is, in all fairness, an experiment and an expensive one, akin to those alchemists who turn gold into confusion. There is, I daresay, an air of European pretension about the whole affair, as though the roast quail had studied abroad and returned unbearably cultured. Reservations are scarce, of course, for scarcity is the new seasoning. It lends the place an aura of exclusivity, much like a velvet rope before an empty ballroom. I have dined upon finer fare and sipped more honest wine, yet I find myself oddly amused. For truly, no one visits Gunshow in pursuit of mere nourishment. Nay, one goes to witness the grand performance of modern appetite: where hunger and vanity duel with silver forks and the only casualty is one’s wallet. Tragic, delicious folly!

I've done Gunshow for my birthday the past two years now and it has impressed each time. I am both an avid cook and admirer of those who create unique dishes I would never think of, so this is a great place to be inspired. My only complaint, is that both times they forgot it was my birthday (not a huge deal) and someone else at a table near me did not have their birthday forgotten haha. It's almost a tradition now and I'll probably be back next year.

Such a fun concept! Reading the menu we were unsure what sounded good but then the chefs come by and explain their dishes and you gotta have it. One recommended saving the crab omelette to eat with the steak course and we were not disappointed! I think we only passed on one dish the entire night. Creative cocktails, great food and a fun atmosphere. Definitely check this place out!

I had breakfast at Home Grown GA and really enjoyed it. The place has a cozy, down-to-earth feel, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. The food tasted fresh and homemade, and the portions were just right without being over the top. It felt like the kind of spot where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a good meal without any fuss. I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

Super charming diner. Very friendly severs. They are happy to modify dishes and substitute as needed. Very affordable prices, good value and portion sizes. My husband loves the comfy chicken biscuit. While they do not have gluten free bread or waffles, they can accommodate various entries. I had the 2-egg, bacon dish and subbed out the grits and biscuit for home fries and strawberries.

I've been here previously a couple of years ago. I stay in the area not to far away more in the neighborhood now. I visited on 8-28-2025 and I sat at the counter. I ordered Chicken and Waffles here it says with eggs scrambled any style I didn't receive that with my plate. The waffle is big and they make it in house also the fried chicken which is breast meat fillets. I ate my waffle with syrup provided and I got as many butters needed at the counter. I ate one piece of chicken and took the other two pieces home food is delicious. I returned on 8-31-2025 for the Shrimp and Grits the grits are creamy and cheesey the shrimp are delicious. Next time I visit I'm going to get the shrimp and grits with out the garnish veggies which is onions and green and red bell peppers chopped or sliced. I like plain shrimp and grits because it's flavorful and you taste just that.

HEY HEYYY!!! It's me Kay Kay and I'm back with another review. If you're from Atlanta, then you should know this hidden gem. They have some of the best breakfast out here. It tastes so good it reminds me of grandma's cooking on a Sunday morning before church. I got chicken and waffles - if you know, you know - and my mom got shrimp and grits. Her shrimp were so amazing! Oh my word, I love chicken and waffles. You could really never go wrong with it. Honestly, it's simple and appetizing. We also ordered fried green tomatoes, and me personally, I'm not a big tomato person, but that right there!!! I couldn't get enough of it. Their house ranch is so yummy. I wish I knew the recipe, but anyway, enough of my yaps. Go get you some good breakfast RIGHT NOW!!!

This place is a gem! My dad told me this place has some good food and man was he 10/10 for this recommendation. If you are looking to get some “home cooked” meals then this is your spot. The food is too good! I usually order the chicken tender meal that comes with grits, eggs, and a huge crispy pancake. The portions are enough to share! The chicken is fried crispy! The grits are standard. Not made it though cause you can just season to your liking. My boyfriend enjoys their bacon too. It’s hard to choose another menu item because the OG is so good. The staff is friendly but if it is busy they will rush you will so the next people can sit down.

We got the comfy chicken biscuit and the chef omelette with a side of French toast. All were delicious. I prefer a bit more of a spicy/more sausage forward gravy but the chicken and biscuit was solid. The omelette was on point and the French toast was a slice of heaven.

Home grown is always a good and consistent choice. I had a nice hot meal in the middle of a rainy day today in their warm diner environment. Madeline was a great server. I arrived at 12:40, was seated immediately, and had my food within 15 minutes.

Service is wonderful, they check on you highly often to make sure everything is good. Food was done before we even finished getting drinks. Pricing isn’t bad. I got the shrimp chowder, it was really good, along with a fish and chicken taco. If you’re planning or thinking of going, GO!

Order first then get a seat. Pretty busy at peak times and weekends. Loved the corn chowder. Has just enough spice. Chicken enchilada with lemon sauce is amazing. Seating inside and out on the covered patio. Will try something else on our next visit. Very popular and reasonably priced.

I really don’t want to leave a perfect review because this is our favorite neighborhood spot and we don’t want it to be more popular than it already is! Going there always fills our hearts. Food is good and comes fast. Menu is streamlined. Service is not fussy. They know what good food is and what makes people happy.

You've to order at the counter. They bring your order to the table. They've a reasonable selection of tequila (only two good ones in the lot). The vegetarian selection is limited. The salsas are good (as are the chips). The prices are reasonable.

This was my 1st time there. My daughter frequents this establishment and insisted that I try it! Be sure to check the times before going. They are open for lunch and then close at 3 until 5 for dinner. There was a wait. My daughter says there's always a wait. It didn't seem like a long wait. It went quicker than I thought! And we were able to get drinks from the bar while we waited. I liked the process of going in to order and pay right then. Then you find a table and they bring the food to you shortly after. The margarita was so good! The food was pretty good. I've never had tacos like these. They were delightful. I look forward to going back to try some other items on the menu.

A good place to meet friends and family for dinner in Decatur. Sitting outside has a really nice atmosphere and is great during the summer. The line to order can take a long time so be prepared to wait. I recommend the enchiladas and Carnitas tacos.

Taqueria deal Sol is definitely a local favorite. It is always delicious. The place runs like a well oiled machine, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There is nothing on this menu that I do not like. I also have the cookbook, and make the fresh salsa all the time for parties. People love it! Their fish tacos have to be the best fish tacos I have ever had. I always compare other places to them. I like to add slaw to my fish tacos. It is so good! The chili and cream sauce are amazing! And everyone loves the chowder. The skinny margarita is the best. It is not a diet margarita, but rather one made with all pure ingredients. So it is just tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup. Make sure to get your hatch chilis during the season. They are the best! I cannot say enough about how much we love this place!

Eye was not impressed at all. Eye ordered the burrito and Korean bbq chicken. Eye believe they forgot the chicken. My wife had bbq chicken and rice combo and said she didn’t like it as well. The sweet tea wasn’t sweet. Eye won’t drive 45 mins again.

Rustic Asian/Mexican fusion restaurant. Off the beaten path in Atlanta. I went because the sesame seed oil fries were recommended and they didn't disappoint. They were served with spicy ketchup. The chicken and shrimp tacos served on flour tortillas were just ok. Apparently they were featured on triple D 10 years ago. Unfortunately they didn't live up to the hype.

Amazing food! Why have I never found this place before? BIG, delicious tacos at a reasonable price. And the pork dumplings are made in house! Sooooooo good!

Interesting Korean and Mexican fusion food. Tried as I saw them featured in Guy Fieri's show. Quite tasty but recommend eating in or very soon after take out ad it was not as good when cold. As I had only limited items so far, I will try a few more items and then revisit this review.

I rarely give 5-star ratings; they are given way too freely on Google. I would give Hankook a 4.5 if half stars were permitted! Hankook is just a solid place for lunch. I went there first in about 2012 and now everytime I get to the ATL, I have to stop. The Beef "Bul Gogi" is yummy. As long as they are in Atlanta, I'll stop every single trip.

A no frills, old building. Parking lot very small and on steep incline. I got the bulgogi burrito and fries. Fries were fantastic. The burrito.....eh. it looked good and was cut in half but not all the way through and when I went to pick a piece up it fell apart cause it wasn't rolled correctly. Also the bottom half was soggy for some reason. Very, very messy. Went through half a dozen napkins. The beef tasted good but I wasn't a big fan of the kimchi rice. I thought I'd read it had cheese while I was online the night before but there was none. (Maybe I'm thinking of another place I was perusing).

It definitely has an old retro look to it, but the food was pretty damn good. I had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of supreme, both served hot with just the right amount of crisp on the crust. The sauce had that classic, slightly sweet taste that reminded me of old-school pizzerias, and the cheese was perfectly melted—not too greasy, just flavorful and fresh. The staff was laid-back but attentive, and the overall vibe was relaxed, like a neighborhood spot that doesn’t try too hard because it doesn’t have to. It’s not fancy, but that’s part of its charm. If you’re looking for a casual place to grab solid pizza without all the extra fluff, Fellini’s on Ponce is definitely worth stopping by.

Came here on a lunch break with my co-workers. They had mentioned how good it was and how it was like pizza from NYC. Being from NYC, I just had to try it out. I ordered two slices with pepperoni, extra cheese and jalapenos. It was very good! It was the closest to pizza back home than most places in the Atlanta area that I've had so far. Cheese was melted good, dough was baked enough to fold and hold and it tasted great! If you moved from NYC or just visiting and you're looking for that NYC pizza experience, try this place out. You may like it!

An old standby in Atlanta, and it hasn't really changed much since the late 1990s, which I love! Their pizza is still delicious, as is their salad. Good bottled drink options too! Thankfully, they are still open somewhat late, so we were able to grab a slice after a late flight, and enjoy sitting out by the fountain. 2025 update: still delicious! We needed a late-night snack and the pizza hit the spot!

I usually love this place. I picked up my online order, and when I got ready to eat my salad, this was what was given to me. I could not eat most of it. So disappointed

Little Bear is one of the top restaurants in Atlanta. Located in the heart of Summer Hill, a reinvigorated neighborhood just south of Grant Park, they have excellent service and fabulously inventive plates. The menu options include several small plates, a prix fixe menu and one meat option. We've been there twice with groups of 3 to 4. Every time we shared the dishes. This trip we had almost all the small plates and the meat offering which was like a slow cooked brisket. If you've ever had Flemish stew it was similar but with an outer crunchy texture. I can't emphasize more how interesting and creative the offerings are. It is a small space so if you want a table reservations are required. There are about 10 bar seats. If you want those, you can just drop in. I recommend on the later side for better chances. Other outstanding things include the service which was timed perfectly. Not an easy thing when there are so many dishes. To top it all off, it's reasonably affordable. We had 3 drinks a piece and all the food for $100 a person. Absolutely fabulous and I hope they keep it up!

Little Bear delivered excellent food, service, and ambience at a high, but reasonable, price point. My partner and I were celebrating a major life event, and made reservations in advance. We were greeted right when we hit the door, didn’t have any wait between arriving and being seated, and were given a cute champagne toast for the occasion. The restaurant had a great vibe, with current rap and hip-hop (E.g. Lil Wayne, 2 Chains) at a volume that made it fun background music to eat over. All of the staff, from the chefs down, were kind and approachable. Amanda, our server, was quick, attentive, and helpful in helping us pick a good balance of meals that fit our vegetarian and pescatarian diets. The menu was accommodating for us, with about a third of the menu being vegetarian or pescatarian (or an option that can be adjusted) Tai, one of the two chefs that day, prepared a delicious salad topped with radish, chives, and a blueberry dressing. The salad was savory with a tasty dash of salt, and great texture throughout the meal. We moved on to the cucumber and squash dish, which had a colorful presentation with a flavorful base. We finished with the “XL Meat Du Jour”, which was modified to be vegetarian for us. The carrots and zucchini were cooked very well, and paired nicely with the garnish. Wrapping some bites in a scallion pancake added a nice carby finish. Overall, Little Bear gave a fantastic round two. Although the restaurant can certainly accommodate a one or two parties of six of I’d recommend it for a party of 1-4 for the best experience

My fiancé and I have dined at Little Bear probably 10 times now, and they never cease to amaze us with their creative plates! We always choose Little Bear for any celebratory dinner and every single time, whatever it is we are celebrating is acknowledged by the staff. This time was no exception as we received a hand written postcard congratulating us on our engagement! It’s the little things that make this truly Michelin level service on top of the amazing food. Unfortunately the food was so good, I only got a snap of the first 3 dishes we ordered as I was too eager to eat the other plates!! We always get the XL meat plate and it never disappoints. We can also always just tell the difference in ingredient quality eating here over other restaurants. No matter how much we indulge, we never feel too stuffed or uncomfortable afterward. Almost like we’re eating in Europe! One of the best restaurants in Atlanta for sure.

Went to Little Bear last night for dinner and had an amazing experience. Tried the fixed menu and each course was spectacular. The stand out dishes included the soup and trout. We sat in front of the kitchen and it was clear that the chefs truly love their jobs. The staff spoke to each other with such respect it was refreshing to see.Highly recommend giving little bear a try, all the award and accolades are well deserved! Restaurants should take notes… Little Bear defines a great dining experience!!!

Came for an impromptu date night and Little Bear did NOT disappoint. The atmosphere is chill and unpretentious. The wine-by-the-glass menu has wonderful and unique options. The prix fixe menu was reasonable and DELICIOUS. The soup course was like nothing I’ve ever tasted. I hate dill, and somehow the dill in this dish made everything else pop. Highly recommend.

Little Bear just stole my heart. We sat at the bar and Kieran was an absolute star, somehow making gorgeous drinks for the whole place while still making us feel so taken care of. Rachel is my hero for noticing every little detail and even folding my napkin when I left. The whole staff was just the sweetest. The raw beef tartare might be my new favorite in Atlanta, the pork tenderloin was melt in your mouth, and the butternut squash was perfection. No room for dessert this time but everyone says it is the best in the city, so we are already planning our comeback.

You need a reservation for this restaurant. They are really creative with their dishes so if you’re adventurous, I highly recommend trying them out. The highlight was the tomato ice cream for dessert, so good! Ah, and they have cool bathrooms!

Tiramisu is worth the hype. Steak was cooked really well although they didn't ask for preference. Not a full bar so limited drinks for cocktails. The polenta cakes were fine, crispy potatoes were surprisingly good. Biggest complaint is service - just didn't feel very attentive in general. You would expect better service with the vibe being intimate and cozy.

Easily a spot to remember, the tiramisu absolutely lives up to the hype. We really just came for the tiramisu but decided to try the Beef Carpaccio and House Focaccia (which pair really well together) along with the house red wine... and that was all amazing. Now the tiramisu... I'm not a sweets person but I was told it was incredible and worthy of it's reputation.... to which I must agree. Lastly, the entire staff was very accommodating. This was a special night and they did everything they could to realize it for us so thank you to everyone for this.

Definitely some of the best food you can get in Atlanta. They’re also very accommodating with food allergies (gluten and tree nuts). Basically everything on their menu is gluten free except their two pasta options and tiramisu.

I love Gigi’s!! It’s beautiful and cozy inside with great food every time. In my recent visit, the beef carpaccio, polenta cakes, pasta with Italian sausage/squash/mushrooms, and tiramisu were very good. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

This was our first time at GiGi’s and I truly hope it won’t be our last! I love the very intimate, homey feel of the restaurant. Service was excellent - we were very well taken care of, everything came out quickly, and our server was able to answer all questions we had about the menu and provide recommendations. While the menu may seem small, each dish packs an incredible amount of flavor and charm. I was highly impressed! I would really recommend anyone going to try some of the things that might sound or seem out of your comfort zone from an ingredients list, and you won’t regret it. Also, of course, get the world famous tiramisu! Thank you, GiGi’s for a wonderful evening!

Amazing tasty food. Combo of flavors is like a party in your mouth. One of the best places to eat in Atlanta. IMO-Best seat is at the bar where you can watch all the creativity up close.

We love Gigis! Service is fast, and it’s easy to get a spot at the bar without a reservation. The menu is small, but I like that they focus on making sure their offerings are incredible (quality over quantity!). My favorites are the polenta with caviar, burrata, and of course you cannot leave without having their tiramisu. I almost ordered a second serving of Tiramisu because it is just so wonderful!

First visit and it was definitely worthwhile! The food and service is beyond amazing! Our server was very sweet and the food was really love at first bite. The menu has many options and things that may be new to try, I really enjoyed it! We plan to go back for Brunch one day to try more delicious dishes.

Had a beautiful anniversary brunch. The staff were wonderful. Everyone wishing us a happy anniversary made the experience even more special. Steve was our server. He was knowledgeable, quick and truly a joy. We decided right then we would come back another night for dinner.

A friend was in town and visiting so I decided to come here and have a meal. And what a great experience this was! All the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. One my friends mentioned the portions were reasonable so everyone could try a variety of items. Another one said that she felt very well taken care of as everyone was helping out making sure we had a good time. I personally love how attentive our server Dalano was; he course out all of our food so everything came to our table in due fashion and we never felt rushed. This was a great memorable experience that I feel everyone should try at least once. Be it for pleasure or a special occasion, Canoe is a restaurant that truly cares about doing things right to keep the outstanding reputation they've held for over 30 years. Absolutely recommend!

So are we in a huge canoe or no? If I drink enough, I’m going with YES! This spot has the whole enchanted forest with a river running through it vibe. Pretty neat. We got the oysters because oysters are vitamins. If they are on the menu, I am ordering them. They were perfectly cold and briny. The bread basket is a huge show here. Go for it and get one of each. There’s servers are good about convincing you anyway! My main was a shrimp pasta dish that was creamy, garlicky, and inhaled way too fast. Canoe always gets it right. Well done!

We made a last minute decision to eat dinner here during our quick trip to ATL and we are so glad we did. We did not have a reservation but the manager found us a table. It was a lovely atmosphere and delicious food! Hubby ordered the steak which was delectable! I had the burger which was pretty good- not the best I’ve had, but the fries were fantastic! Our server was Karen and she was an absolute gem! Very attentive, informative and sweet. We enjoyed our walk around the gardens after dinner and what a beautiful venue it is! There was a wedding reception happening and what a great venue to get married at! We would definitely return.

Lived in metro Atl gor over 25+ years and this was the 1st I had the pleasure of dining at Canoe. My expectations were very high and to be honest, they were exceeded. The food, the serves, and the atmosphere all were amazing. I started off with the kangaroo for an appetizer, the duck burger for my meal, and spiced apple sorbet for desert. Everything was outstanding! Can't wait to return.

The setting is absolutely stunning — nestled right on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, the restaurant takes full advantage of its location with panoramic views and beautifully maintained gardens that feel like a hidden retreat. Whether you're enjoying golden hour on the terrace or wandering through the grounds before your meal, the atmosphere alone is worth the visit. The menu offers a fabulous selection, clearly crafted with care and seasonal influence. There’s a sense of sophistication without being overly fussy, and the variety should appeal to a wide range of palates. Unfortunately, the execution on the night we visited didn’t quite match the promise. Our appetizer didn’t arrive until after our entrees — a noticeable lapse in timing. To their credit, the staff was gracious and comped the dish without hesitation, handling it professionally. The main course, however, missed the mark. The fish was dry, and the accompanying risotto lacked the creaminess and texture one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber — both slightly overcooked and underwhelming. While the service was kind and attentive throughout, the kitchen seemed to have an off night. Despite the hiccups, the charm and beauty of Chattahoochee River make it a destination worth returning to — hopefully next time, with food that lives up to the breathtaking setting.

Our brunch experience was absolutely fabulous. We started with cocktails, and both the Country Thyme Lemonade and the Midtown Mary were perfectly balanced. The Lemonade was light, crisp, and refreshing—not too sweet—exactly how I like it. Much like the deviled eggs, every flavor felt thoughtfully balanced and delicious. When it came to food, both plates impressed. The King Biscuit was a hearty, flavor-packed sandwich—generous in size and not overly salted like so many places. I loved it; the only thing that could have made it even better would’ve been a touch more sausage in the gravy. Then there was That Sandwich—and wow. The bread was perfectly toasted, the egg cooked exactly to order, and the city ham was incredible. The sauce tied it all together beautifully, making every bite memorable. Finally, a special shout-out to AJ, our bartender. Sitting at the bar made the meal even better—AJ’s warm, fun energy created such an inviting atmosphere that elevated the whole experience. Balanced flavors, standout dishes, and amazing service—this brunch hit all the right notes. Can’t wait to come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SOUTHERN COMFORT PERFECTION! Y'all, I've found fried chicken heaven at South City Kitchen! Showed up early for my lunch res and they welcomed me like family—even checked my luggage (true Southern hospitality right there). THE FOOD: Fried green tomatoes? Tangy-savory perfection. The fried chicken deserves its own fan club—juicy meat, shatteringly crisp exterior, and their housemade hot sauce is EVERYTHING. Collards retained actual texture (hallelujah!) and those buttermilk biscuits should be illegal. INSIDER TIP: They're super accommodating with allergies and the patio seating is primo. Yes, it's a bit $$$, but sometimes you gotta splurge for the best Southern food in Atlanta. Worth. Every. Penny.

Delicious! The food here is very southern and exquisite. While the pork chop and shrimp is good, the star of the show is clearly the side dishes: biscuits, corn bread and fabulous grits. I never thought I'd write about succatash, but, wow, it was fantastic. Topping it off were really wonderful drinks including a blood orange spritzer (not clear if that was the proper name). Very well presented and fun outdoor patio.

Absolutely amazing! The food presentation, flavor, creativity of menu ingredients all exceeded expectations! Rosalee provided a level of service I have not received in a very long time. Her service along with the food a cocktails made for a phenomenal brunch experience in ATL.

Food was delicious and so fresh. Cornbread and biscuits melt in your mouth. Would highly recommend the crab cakes, as a NE girlie I was pleasantly surprised by the crab cakes. The market fish was also perfectly cooked and I loved the red pepper sauce.

We found this restaurant on a whim, thanks Google! We really loved it because of its Farm to table style using fresh ingredients and a great fresh twist on Southern classics. We will be back tomorrow! The service was fantastic and our waiter was charming with a southern class. Things were running a little bit slow but that's because the place was so packed full of other hungry diners.

Found a super popular spot nearby that serves fried chicken & BBQ 🍗🔥 The place gets packed fast! I had my eyes on the Smoked Chicken, but sadly it was already sold out 😢 So I went for the Classic Combo (2 meats & 2 sides) instead. I picked two Beef Briskets — one lean and one fatty. The French guy sitting next to me highly recommended the fatty cut, and wow… he was right. It literally melts in your mouth 🤤✨ The sauces were just okay, but honestly, the brisket was already flavorful enough without them. For sides, I chose Potato Salad 🥔 and Mac & Cheese 🧀. The potato salad was hearty and filling, while the mac & cheese was absolutely delicious — creamy, cheesy, and comforting in every bite 😍 Overall, super satisfied! Next time, I’ll definitely come earlier to finally try that Smoked Chicken 🙌

Undeniably some of the BEST Barbecue I have ever had. The spare ribs were outstanding, wish I had ordered a whole rack! The baked beans were perfectly cooked, the BBQ sauce selection was exemplary, and the service was very quick. Super great atmosphere and smells like heaven! Perfect spot for fantastic Southern BBQ, a must have if you’re in ATL.

Love this place. Weve come here for over 10 yrs. Haven't been in few yrs since its a far drive. But we popped in last night & its still great. The brisket is definitely my favorite. Gotta always get the 1/2 & 1/2 fried jalapeño & pickles app. We thought we would have to wait 30min. But was lucky & immediately got a table for 2. Still great all this time.

Wow. This was some GREAT bbq. The portions are HUGE so plan accordingly. We tried walking up and it was a 40 minute wait since prepared. Overall, really good place for some high quality meats, alongside great service and atmosphere. If I go to Atlanta again, I know for sure where to go!

Really great BBQ place. But very very very busy. Ribs were least favorite. Sauces amazing. Fried okra was nice surprise. The bread pudding, please don't miss this one. Prices are very fair. I'll be back. A lot!

Chicken. Fried. Ribs. I brought a group of five here on a hope and a prayer that this place was legit, and it did not disappoint. Tiffany was our server, and she did an amazing job, and was super funny. 10/10 - chicken fried ribs. First things first, the chicken fried ribs were unreal. Tender, not overcooked, excellent flavor from the fried exterior. The white barbecue sauce with the drizzle of their regular barbecue sauce, set it off perfectly. Everyone at the table could not stop talking about these ribs. Excellent appetizer. Comes with three good sized ribs. 9/10 - brisket. I opted for a massive slice of fatty brisket. The fat was rendered very nicely, good bark. Only complaint is the brisket was slightly dry, but the flavor was still on point. 10/10 - smoked chicken wings. I'm always leery of smoked chicken wings, because I believe crispy and fried is generally best, however the spicy barbecue "wet" wings had excellent flavor and texture, and everything was still juicy inside. Also let's talk about the side of blue cheese that they give you; the cup they give you on the side is GENEROUS. 10/10 - tots. They were standard tots... Crispy, salty, delicious. Excellent with the white barbecue sauce. Nothing special or unique, but that's why you get them topped with brisket chili or brunswick stew. 9/10 - brisket chili. This is a solid chili, but I do wish there were bigger chunks of brisket, and maybe some tomato chunks or veggies in the chili. 10/10 - banana pudding. Exactly what you want out of banana pudding. Crunchy nilla wafer, creamy, nice banana flavor. Only thing that could make this better is some whipped cream, but that's ultimately not an expectation with banana pudding. **I was not coerced or incentivized to leave this review. I'm just a raving fan now.

Very authentic Mediterranean filled with great passion. The chicken soup is a must as is the rosemary chicken. We came late and just about everything was sold out. I was prepared to lick the pots. Food just that good.

It’s customary for me to want to review local restaurants and give my first impressions, but I’m going to break my pattern. I’ve been coming to Aviva by Kameel, at the downtown Atlanta location, for DragonCon for almost two decades. The proprietor, Kameel Srouji, is an institution and the absolute definition of hospitality. He greets everyone with a warm smile and a “Hello my friend!” with a sincerity that lifts your soul. The lines are long, but for good reason. It’s worth the wait. For today’s visit Kameel greeted us with his quintessential salutations, as well as a bag of Godiva truffles and bowls of his mother’s lentil soup made vegan with olive oil, no animal products, for those of us waiting in the aforementioned long line. Even waiting in line is a treat here. Kameel is a vegan chef, but certainly doesn’t lack in delicious protein options that are generously portioned and made with love. If it’s your first time, try the Rosemary Chicken. It’s always a favorite and will change your life. Also, don’t miss the walnut baklava. It’s also vegan, no honey, but if you didn’t know, you wouldn’t know the difference. It’s both light and delicate while still being toothsome with a satisfying bite. This restaurant is honestly not only one of my favorite parts of the convention, but my year. Thank you Kameel for creating an oasis where all are welcome, well fed, and loved indiscriminately.

Literally everything about Aviva by Kameel is incredible! At every location I've been to you are greeted by the most friendly staff who treat you like family. Kameel himself takes care of you as if you were his son, daughter, mother, or father. He also takes great effort to ensure his restaurants are serving food that will add to your vitality, not diminish it. The food is absolutely perfection, the atmosphere serene, and the people remarkable. Kameel even donated to the opening reception at The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art and people literally kept coming up yesterday asking where did this amazing baklava come from. There were stunned that it was vegan and stating the best they ever had. I concur, it is the best. Thank you for contributing to the opening of my husband's opening reception of "HISTORY LESSONS" AT THE MARIETTA COBB MUSEUM OF ART! We appreciate everyone at Aviva by Kameel!!!

I had a rosemary chicken plate that was delicious, and they generously gave me a few other proteins just so I can try them. The falafel was uniquely moist. Both times I visited I was given a complimentary soup. I don't know if that's normal but I really appreciated the generosity.

This is my favorite place to go to in Atlanta. Kameel, the staff, and the food are outstanding. I go here every day when I'm in town, can't recommend it enough. Plenty of options for those with allergies (Gluten, Dairy), vegetarians, and vegans. Great food for the taste buds and your stomach and health, and authentic friendliness for your soul.

Kameel is so accommodating and the hospitality is next level. He put a smile on my face as soon as I walked in and made sure I was well taken care of. The food is incomparable. It’s wholesome, real food like nothing I’ve tasted in America. Thankyou. I will be back!

Listen up, I have a new fave to put y'all on. Aviva for the win!!! Lunch today was delicious. I couldn't decide which protein I wanted, so I had both salmon mixed with shrimp and shredded chicken. The seafood mix was perfection and fresh! The mmjarda was different but decent, and the cold sides were flavorful. The slice of wheat bread was fresh and so soft. I would've eaten the entire piece, but lawd knows I'm truly trying to cut out carbs. They even gave me a complimentary oatmeal cookie *heavy sigh*. What made this experience special was the great customer service given by the owner and staff. While we waited in line (which was long but fast), they handed out Lentil soup soup and hot falafel. Fiyaaa! The owner came and chatted with us and was extremely personable. I highly recommend it, and I am looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

First time eating here and it was great! I went for dinner with a colleague and we were promptly greeted and seated. The gentleman that was serving us was very attentive ( Forgot to ask for his name) and the food came out super quick but still hot and fresh! will definitely be back

We've been coming to Desta for years. I'm loving the new location. It feels so much cleaner and upscale than the old house. Injera is such a treat of you've never had it before. One of my favorite types of bread. Both chicken and steak are delicious and seasoned perfectly. Can't recommend this place enough. They're always amazing every time we go.

The service here was fantastic. Our waitress was awesome she was very helpful because it was our first time trying Ethiopian food. Everything was delicious.

The flavors are just incredible and so unique, featuring a complex yet harmonious blend of aromatic spices that truly elevate the dish. The delicate balance of these spices excites the taste buds with each bite. The ground beef tibs plate, cooked to perfection with a savory, slightly smoky aroma, made me do the “satisfying food dance,” as I couldn’t help but enjoy every flavor.

1st time at this location. I used to visit the Clairmont Rd location in the past. Service is amazing and the food came out quickly and was hot. I ordered the Sambusa appetizer and it was yummy. The sauce was spicy to me but my friends loved it. For dinner we all ordered different entrees. I ordered the ribeye cooked with potatoes and gomen (collard greens) as my side. My friends ordered the chicken and lamb entrees with injera and miser (lentil stew) and shiro (chickpea stew). We al devoured our food. For dessert we ordered the dulce de leche cheesecake and baklava.

My first time here, on vacation with friends that love this restaurant. Food was amazing, I wanted try breakfast, got breakfast combo. My friends got the meat lovers meal. Everything was so delicious. Our waitress was so nice, and helpful. I will definitely be back when im down again.

Incredible service all around. Hosts and servers were friendly. I showed up half an hour before closing. The food was prepared excellently and out within ten minutes of ordering, and the staff engaged with me as an obnoxious extravert. Give them your money.

The Colonnade is one of Atlanta’s oldest restaurants, and even from walking up to the building from the parking lot, it exudes history and character. Right inside there’s an a wall of the restaurant’s changes and accolades over the years. You can see menus dating back to like the 1930s, movie posters of different ones that have been filmed there and more. It’s super cool. I think this place stays pretty busy, especially for dinner. If your party ends up having to wait, they have an extra room to the right side that has a bar where you can order a drink while you wait. But the bartender don’t mess around- if you don’t know what you want, she’ll move on to the next guest that does. We were blown away by how good the prime rib was. One of the best cuts of meat most of us had had- and even my family from Wyoming that live on a ranch and raise their own delicious beef agreed. That’s a high compliment. I tried the stuffed salmon off of the specials menu and it was okay- needed a little more seasoning but I still enjoyed it. Every guest also gets 2 pieces of bread while waiting for the entrees. Honestly I wasn’t impressed with a majority of the food, except for that dang prime rib. We had a great waitress as well who made the experience that much better. It’s definitely an expensive meal but it’s a nicer restaurant in my opinion not a casual place so you can’t expect to pay casual prices. I will definitely be back to try the prime rib again and make sure it really was that good because it was almost unbelievable.

fun, old-timey restaurant that desperately needs a face lift but please don’t ever change! server was especially sweet and helpful. all requests were granted within moments…none of that nonsense waiting for ketchup while the onion rings get cold. the yeast rolls and butter are a great start to the meal. my fried catfish was spot on and the portion was huge. against all odds, managed to consume all of it which was a feat. onion rings were above average. whipped potatoes were also a cut above although i’ve had better a handful of times. super satisfying meal at a price point which seems like a quaint relic from decades ago.

Me and my wife enjoyed dinner at this restaurant this past Sunday. All I can say is while we were waiting on our food there was a group of ladies singing beautifully in the waiting area so I knew it would be a great meal. I had the fried Chicken and she had Roasted turkey and dressing and the food was amazing. We had fried green tomatoes and Brunswick St w as appetizer and both those items were fantastic as well. Our server was fantastic and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

The Colonnade still pleases with a relaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff, and well executed comfort food. It is friendly to individuals or groups. We had a family dinner, and I ordered shrimp and grits. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. Grits were creamy and topped with a delicious sauce. Note scattered sliced okra, which some may not enjoy. Side of thickly cut onion rings was yummy. Recommended for a moderately priced enjoyable meal.

Food was exceptional. Southern cooking at its best everything we had here was superb! Done for three and everything from sides to drinks were much better than average. A true southern treat! This is a great place for large families. It’s also always packed as we hear. I was only visiting but I’m happy I stopped by!

Wow. Used to be avoid but now is full of elderly customers and bad food. Between 3 of us there were 3 entrees, 6 sides and 2 appetizers, all of them yucky.

The Colonnade is the absolute best and Shay prepares the most perfect martini!❤️🍸 Last night I had the yummiest fried pork chops, rice and gravy, lima beans, and squash casserole? I was in heaven!!!🌈🌈🌈

Came for the lunch buffet right when it opened and had high hopes for this place! The service was friendly and the ambiance is very fun and festive and the food looked legit. However, I wasn't wow'ed by it. It might've just been that day, but the curries weren't all that flavorful or spiced, which is usually what I'm looking forward to with Indian food. The butter chicken is on the sweeter side, which was interesting, but the aloo tikka chaat was pretty good! The hot chai for that day was watery unfortunately. Maybe coming early in day is not the right move, so I'm willing to try it again! Lunch buffet prices (Oct 2025) for weekdays is $17 and for weekends is $21. There's some parking in the back, so when it's not busy it's okay.

My first visit to Chai Pani surely won’t be the last. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience was unforgettable. The service was prompt and incredibly kind, and our waitress offered us a free token to try out the Pani Puri counter for the first time! Plus, the Pani Puri itself was delicious (though sorely lacking in aloo filling)! Every single item ordered was an absolute hit. We immediately adored the Gobi 65, which is dry-seasoned with the perfect spice blend that - I felt - was reminiscent of the “gunpowder” spice blend commonly served with dosa/idli. The Zucchini Uttapam is a celebration of South Indian flavors (with an unconventional twist coming from the zucchini slices), and served alongside the very filling uttapams were the most spot-on-tasting sambar and pointedly spicy coconut chutney. The mint chutney and tamarind chutney that came with the delicious Samosas (off-menu item) were equally delicious. The Basmati Rice was also cooked perfectly and salted so well, acting as the perfect vehicle to pair with any remaining sambar/chutneys from the other dishes. Overall, I know I’m coming back here for the experience, hospitality, and delicious fare. Definitely go with company - it’s a colorful, lively spot with food that’s meant to be shared among the table! (Additional Notes - I’ve also had food that was catered from here, which was just as delicious. The Vada Pav patty is perfectly fried and comes in such pillowy pav; the Chana Masala pairs beautifully with the rice and some raita; the Pickled Slaw complements practically everything. Never a bad dish from this place!)

Me and my husband were visiting there for the weekend. One of the best Indian food I had since I moved to USA. The pani puri counter was the highlight of the evening. The vadapav was delicious. There are stings both inside and outside. Great ambience and the service was really good. Would love to be again if in the area.

Chai Pani is a Decatur staple and for good reason. Amazing options ranging from Indian street food to more indulgent dishes like butter chicken or saag. The SPDP is a must. We always start out with an order and oftentimes pair that with the Gobi Pepper Fry or the Samosa Chaat. Recently tried the Vada Pav which was spicy and delicious. Also tried the KFC sliders which are a new favorite. Great spot to try Uttapam, their naan is solid, and their bowls like butter chicken are consistently tasty. Chicken Kathi Roll might be my favorite though. Gotta try their cocktails here as well, especially any with some spice!

A very glossy flashy Indian restaurant with an amazing vibe and ambience and to some extent with a decent food menu section but an extremely delicious and tasty food at your disposal. THE FOOD: The menu offers a good amount of Vegetarian items to choose from, but most of the items are pretty standard and usual that exists in most of the Indian restaurants. But every food we ordered was just top notch. The taste, the flavor, the smell and everything was just top notch. We ordered Samosa Chat, Disco Bhel, Kids Cheese Uthappam, Vada Pav and Gulab Jamun. The Samosa Chat and Disco Bhel were amazing to start off with. The VadaPav was great but the Gulab Jamun was something else. The best and the winner. Probably the next best to the one we get at Yellow Chilli. It just melted and tasted amazing! SERVICE & AMBIENCE: The ambience is just wow! Extremely well lit and the vibe was so good. The atmosphere was just perfect for a nice summer evening. The service was quick and fast and Sam (our waiter) was so friendly. But the restaurant sounds noisy all the time. It’s like everyone talking at the same time and you barely can hear the waiter or someone speaking. But that’s ok, and understandable since it’s not a Fine Dining restaurant. BOTTOMLINE: A restaurant that serves good amount of food for the price alongside a very different and high energy surrounding with a flashy colorful environment. Would visit again probably during summers and probably not on a weekend to avoid the crowds and wait times. But an excellent dining experience on the whole. INCREDIBLE. it felt like home. I was craving uttapam and this hit the spot. I would prefer it without cheese though. The samosa chaat, and the dahi puri were the stand outs. We took our non indian friends here and they loved it. The pani puri stand outside was so fun and very tasty. Price was reasonable !!! Am counting down the days till I come here again.

Wow, what a fantastic experience I had at Umi. Everything on the menu is super delicious. My waiter was Liz—OMG, the best!! At the bar were Jose and John. They helped me with my drinks—super cool people. Jose and John will guide you to your perfect drinks. They are amazing. When I am back in Buckhead, I’m definitely going back. Our tab with food and drinks was over $1,200, and it was worth every penny. It is a must when in Atlanta. You need to go!

This is the best sushi spot in Atlanta. The service is incredible as is the ambiance and food. The spicy tuna crispy rice was awesome andnm the rolls were all excellent.

What a great dining experience! From our server Liz who was so knowledgeable and courteous to the bartenders John and Jose that kept us laughing and sharing stories. All in all the entire staff made our night one to remember. But we can’t forget the FOOD! Delicious….

Omakase by Chef @kazuosushiboss was another great Omakase experience in the books❣️ Each course was thoughtfully curated. What stood out most was not just the impeccable quality of the fish but also the harmony of textures and flavors. Each bite had its own story, and the pacing allowed me to fully appreciate every element. The uni was my personal favorite. 🤤 It was so fresh & clean. Arigato 🙇🏻‍♀️ & I learned a new word to prepare me for Japan “Itadakimasu” meaning “I humbly receive.” 🤗 Highly recommend for sushi lovers, special occasions, or anyone wanting to indulge in a truly elevated culinary experience

From the appetizers to the entree dish, everything is excellent. The fish is fresh and tender with a lot of flavor. We ordered Wagyu steak medium rare which is juicy and melted right into your mouth. I would say it’s expensive to dine in here but it’s worth it.

My boyfriend and I went to Umi for my 21st birthday dinner. Fine dining in Atlanta is nothing of unusual for me but my experience with Umi was quite disappointing. My table was small and compact that did not have a table light for me to read my menu and I had to use the flashlight. The room was packed with people and it seemed like everyone is loud just to get their words out. If you are looking to have intimate conversation, this is not the place. My waiter was dismissive and rushed. I ordered a total of 5 dishes but finished eating in 20. My boyfriend has not even finished picked up one piece of nigiri before the waiter took our plate away and rushed us to order more. No time to converse nor enjoy the dinner. This was the most unfriendly and unprofessional experience I have had with a waiter. Food was overall okay. I was looking for memorable taste but I could not find it here. I wish fine dining at Umi consists more than just caviar or “organic” wasabi. Never have I ever dined at upscale restaurants for a birthday celebration without complementaries from them but at Umi, it is not a priority for them to keep customers satisfied.

I gave this restaurant four stars relative to its price point. The service is friendly and efficient. There's outdoor and indoor seating. The food is pretty good but I wouldn't say authentic Mexican. Definitely better than a typical Mexican place. Couldn't give five stars on service because our reservations were not handled properly and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes.

I can't eat Mexican food anywhere else after eating here. Dipping my steak in the frothy Mexican butter tap danced all over my taste buds. The green salsa for the tortilla chips is by far the best I've ever tasted. Overall everything was 10 out of 10. Shout out to our waiter " Robbie" dude explains the flavors of the food and what pairs together well.

Nice quiet area, restaurants super clean. Dog friendly.. We ordered a small fajita for $23 definitely not worth the price. And I also got 3 shrimp tacos for $24 wasn’t worth the price either. The queso was good, very fresh and homemade 2 people bill was $75 the rice was the best thing to me. My shrimp tacos were good after I dressed them. Overall 6/10

We sat at the bar & Ayona was our bar tender and she was very attentive🤩...( I know I spelled her name wrong😩). Her menu suggestions were spot on and she makes a mean Ole Fasion😁😍😍. One of the bartenders overheard me say that the sauce wasn't hot enough and they intern relayed this info to the chef who then proceeded to make me not 1 but 2 different sauces that I did NOT request and Boy oh boy did he give me some of the hottest & most delicious 😋 sauce that my palate has ever encountered & to say it was amazing would be an understatement 😉 😜 so a Big thanks to Chef Kenny for going above and beyond to satisfy this customer. I will definitely be back if not for the food definitely for the Amazing customer service my husband and I received 🤗

If you want to have some amazing Mexican food then look no further. Good quality and a lot of to choose from. We had a margarita and some various nachos with a lot of different sauces as starter. I had shrimp tacos and they were delicious.

Really great food and atmosphere at Superica on Krog Street. The guac and queso were excellent, great margaritas and Cheladas, and the fajitas and tacos were excellent. I highly recommend the Pork Belly Carnitas fajitas. The BBQ style sauce that was served with it was excellent.

We were so excited to try Busy Bee but unfortunately our experience was deeply disappointing. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food — just one plate and two extra sides — while we watched at least 10 other people come and go with their orders. When our food finally arrived, it was cold and extremely salty. The service was confusing: polite at moments but also sharp and borderline rude. Our drink was forgotten and took another 6 minutes to get, which felt careless given how long we’d already been waiting. When we arrived, we were told to scan a QR code and had the option to order through the website or with the staff member directly. We chose the website and still left a tip, even though all she did was hand us the bag. The inside of the restaurant is closed so you have to wait outside or in your car — which would be fine if the food was prompt and warm. Sadly, it wasn’t. If you’re thinking what I’m thinking — maybe you’re right. Watching so many others served ahead of us for no clear reason left us wondering if there was something more behind it. It’s sad that in 2025, we can still feel so far behind when it comes to how we treat each other. We left feeling like we paid good money just to be treated poorly. So much excitement and money wasted — it honestly felt like we paid to be bullied. I hope this feedback helps them do better, but I can’t recommend Busy Bee based on our experience.

Food was good. I got the pork chops dinner with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Mac and cheese wasn't bad but wasn't good. Collard greens was great as well as pork chops. Wait time was long as we called our order in but waited over 40 minutes for our food. You had to wait outside for your order. It was hot. First time eating here.

My husband and I stopped at Busy Bee to see what the hype was about and I was disappointed. We flew in from Maryland to watch a wonderful play called F Punk at 7 Stages and have lunch. Upon arriving at Busy Bees the host said we are not seating anyone because we are opening a new shop. I was not sure what one had to do with the other but, there was seating outside. So you scan the menu outside and let the host know what you want. After ordering, the wait was about 30 minutes. We start feeling sick sitting outside because the parking lot has new asphalt that had extremely strong toxic smell coming from it. So we moved around until the food came. Finally, the order was here and just in time because it started raining on us. I have to say, the prices do not match the quality of food not one bit. For two meals one fried fish and the other chicken wings it was mediocre at best for a couple of items and just not good for others. The banana pudding was mushy and terrible. I took one bite and threw it away. The wings were too salty and the green were basic. The fried fish and macaroni was ok. The peach cobbler was not good and did not taste fresh but seemed like they use can peaches. Coming to Georgia I would think fresh peaches would be used. This was a waste of $84.00 I am sorry to say. I hate to write this review but, I expected much more!

Wow definitely one of the best fried chicken i have had that doesn’t have any special sauce or anything… Their skin is so so darn well cooked and I can’t really explain. Their chicken is not as juicy as I thought but def not dry at all. Service was amazing we went on a Sat morning they only did takeout only so we just ate outside. Worth coming here if u have layover in ATL or visiting!!

Came here after watching a YouTube video saying it was the best fried chicken in America so I had to try it. It is very, very good chicken and you should taste it for yourself! Very juicy, crispy, and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend to my friends. Fries were also very good. Wish I liked the Mac and cheese more than I did, but not too bad. It is pickup only and the lady who gave us our food was pleasant.

I placed a couple of orders online on Monday and arrived about 20 minutes before the expected pickup time. Upon arrival, I headed inside. The dining room was in disarray. The tables were pushed to one side with junk and papers on top of them. I was immediately told to wait outside. Food was sitting in plastic bags on top of one of the tables. So, when I was served about 10 minutes later, the server grabbed a plastic bag off the table. The chicken was sweaty and looked soggy in spots. The vegetables were lukewarm. Perhaps, it’s better to order in the parking lot and wait.

As a tourist in Atlanta, The Busy Bee Café was on my must-visit list—and it didn’t disappoint! The staff were friendly, and waiting outside with locals and delivery drivers added to the charm. The food was incredible—I nearly finished everything in my container, which says a lot since I don’t usually eat half a chicken in one sitting! A true taste of Atlanta and an experience I’m so glad I didn’t miss.

One of the staff members was rude over the phone. I only eat certain types of donuts and when i am paying for a dozen, i should have the option to choose the same flavor without them being rude about it. Between this and the inconvenience of them not being stocked with a selection of donuts when i visit, (most of the racks are empty) its makes it hard to keep supporting.

Stopped by August 30th around 9:30pm. My friend and I got a half of dozen donuts to go. We got 2 strawberry and cream, 2 yin and yang twists, an A-town cream, and the chocolate raspberry heart. Service was fine, the lady ringing us up was nice. Someone else behind the counter was on their speaker phone... The shop was dimmly lit, not sure if that's what they're going for late at night, but it was hard to see the donuts on the shelves clearly. My friend and I split the donuts and parted ways... I tried some of the donuts in the car on the way home... The yin and yang twist was doughy and undercooked, I told my friend to see if hers was edible as mine was not. Wasn't happy about getting an undercooked donut. The A-town cream donut was tasty, was glad it was cooked. The strawberry and cream donut was pretty good (also cooked), the fresh strawberries are a nice addition. The cream part is a sweet icing that I scooped out the majority of. My friend enjoyed the chocolate raspberry one and also said the icing was rather sweet in the strawberry and cream one. Overall not a bad experience... Wouldn't mind coming back for late night donuts when I'm on this side of town, but they definitely need to check for doneness of the donuts, selling undercooked donuts isn't safe as someone could get sick if they don't notice.

The doughnuts were delicious.The service not so much. It was my first time visiting, but I felt like I was expected to be an expert on every doughnut/pastry offered. I was met with a flat, I was disturbing her peace type of vibe. Im sure there are lots of regulars being on a college campus, but being just a little kind and helpful goes a long way. We were the only customers in there, so its not like i had a hundred questions and 10 people behind me. I was told the A-town donut was filled with cream cheese which didn't sound good but we got it anyway. I asked her if they had any filled with Bavarian cream like a Boston cream donut, she made a face and said no, when low and behold, guess what was in the A-town? It was filled with Bavarian cream which was much better than "cream cheese" I expected. The strawberry & creme with fresh strawberries was good too, the initial bites were just the right amount of sweet. Will visit again, next time with a plan of exactly what I want.

The donuts here are delicious and original. My preference is the orange creamsicle. I also love that this place is open 24 hours, so if you're craving something sweet at 3 am, you have somewhere to go.

Whenever I'm in the city, I HAVE to stop by and get some doughnuts. They're always fresh, soft and not top sweet. Plus, there's a good variety to choose from. I only wish they made more of the strawberry cream ones. Those are the money makers . AND they're open 24hrs so you can get your fix lol❤️❤️❤️❤️

Walked in today with my daughter and the OWNER was sitting at the table. He didn’t part his lips to speak. He didn’t say not a mumbling word. This is the second time I have had an issue with him so I will not be going back. I drove from Marietta for these doughnuts and the owner can’t even acknowledge his customers. I’ll go to Randy’s

Donuts were decent even though I got there late and service was good enough. I would go back. Donuts are def overpriced but comes with the territory.

Good place for drinks and snacks. They change the menu often so wait for mains you’d want to try. We had the Hawaiian roll, it came with fresh strawberry preserves which were excellent! Our waiter said the pork belly lettuce wraps was a sleeper item and so glad he recommended them. Really unique and it had pickled strawberries which was nice. Dessert was the dark chocolate tart, it was too bitter for my but my husband loved it. Good amount of searing at the bar if you just want to drinks and snacks

Fancy place for oyster lovers. They have so many different kinds to pick from, each with detailed explanations of their taste profiles. The drinks were good. I got the scallops and they were juicy and very sweet. Definitely on the pricier side. Overall a good dining experience, especially for the seafood lover.

I love this restaurant! Their food is amazing and they have the best cocktails. And you can’t forget they always have fresh oysters. It’s a great place for celebrations.

This is such a beautiful restaurant. We made a reservation last minute and arrived about 5 on a Sunday only to realize we had made the reservation fkr the floor Wednesday. The host was very kind and fixed our reservation and seated us immediately. Parking was slim to none but we found something on the side street. Their cocktails were great. We loved the old fashioned. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful flavor. The trout over blue corn grits was out of the ordinary and delicious. Don't forget to order the rolls. We will be back.

We ordered a ton of food and while most of it taste really great, I didn’t feel like it was “to die for”. Also parking is not ideal and not validated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very well done. Our server was very nice and welcoming. We went for our 5 year anniversary, I emailed them before asking if they do anything and never heard back which was a little disappointing. Food Hawaiian Rolls - 5 stars served with a whipped butter and jam that were great French Onion Soup - 4 stars good and full of flavor, enough to split Kale salad - 5 stars the salad had a nice Cesar dressing with fried shallots on top Snapper - 3.5 stars, the fish was cooked to the perfect temp and most of the skin had a good crunch. The beans it’s served on didn’t wow me Duck - 3.5 stars, the Duck was good but the side it was served with didn’t hit the mark for my partner. Fingerling Potatoes - 5 stars, Crispy and delicious with cheese and aioli Mock Tails - 6 stars (out of 5), these were amazing and you can tell they used fresh ginger!

Absolutely amazing, what a great experience we had, from the exquisite food parings to wine selection. Couldn't fault anything. We will be back. Oysters such a wide selection & beautifully clean, Duck, so crispy & so tender. Pork with an Asian flare, dessert to die for! Just amazing! Thank you to Dan G for caring for us & making us feel Like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Thank you we really enjoyed our time there.

Very intimate dining experience with top notch service. From start to finish the wait staff makes sure you are knowledgeable about the dishes, cocktails, and wine and selection. We went for a dinner date so the ambience was dimly lit but the music was jumping. The scene sorta reminded me of the show “The Bear” on Hulu. Every dish was made with intention. The restrooms are clean and spacious and there’s plenty of street parking in this classic neighborhood. I didn’t get a chance to tour the restaurant, but there is a good sized patio as well as a back room area for additional seating. I’d love to come back again in the next couple of months. The menu changes with their seasonal selection.

Wonderful time at dinner with a few friends. Got the tasting menu & a few more dishes that didn't disappoint. Atmosphere, service & timing was on point for sure. Love that everyone that drops off food reviews it instead of dropping off leaving you wondering.

Great atmosphere and wonderful place to share delicious food with friends. Waiters are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Sothern Chicken Fried Parm was the best and plentiful, while we ended up ordering another Crispy Octopus because it was so delightful. To top it off I enjoyed the Chocolate Torte and Basque Cheesecake because they were tasty without being too sweet.

Loved everything about this place! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of pescatarian and vegetarians options but the menu does change a lot (I think they even said every night) so it may not always be the case (the first time my husband went without me and said they only had a fish risotto he was able to have, which, I will add he said is to die for). Either way we will definitely be back!

Unbelievable fresh food and unique experience of Italian flavors. Great vibe of music, art and restaurant with a nice bar on hand. Everything was so good, price per dish is smaller, almost like tapas but bigger, so order a bit more than you think. Desserts were phenomenal

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here, which was our first time and it did not disappoint! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to my sleeping toddler (giving us a pillow to make sure she was comfortable). They made every interaction feel personable and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed working there! All the dishes that we had were packed with flavor and left us wanting more! Specifically the crudo with crispy rice and the branzino. You can appreciate the effort that went into the presentation and the way that all the flavors blended together so perfectly. We also enjoyed their cocktails and their cheesecake that we had for dessert. We're already excited to go back and try out even more! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Highly recommend this spot for a date night or if wandering around Inman Park & dining alone like me. Felt at home from the moment I walked in the door; the hostess and host were joking with me and instantly had me smiling. I didn’t have a reservation (I’d recommend one) but they were able to get me a table. Seemed like almost every waiter in the restaurant made a touch point during my meal. I really liked how everyone worked as part of a team. I had a tough day that day, and the music, fusion appetizer, and the comfort of the chicken Parm made for a perfect experience and finish to my day. Wish I could give them more than five stars. Second half of the chicken Parm was just as good when I heated it up the next day. 🤣

I really enjoyed my experience eating at Nakato. They have free valet parking which was nice and convenient. The hostesses were nice and accommodating. Our waiter was okay not very attentive and waited quite a while to place an order and get help. Didn’t check in on us. The food though was solid and I enjoyed it for a moderately prices sushi meal. Overall positive experience

In town for the weekend visiting family and this was a top hibachi recommendation. Prompt and very courteous customer service by the hostess. The food was good not great. The ginger dressing on the salad was delicious. Not a fan of the soup. The shrimp were cooked good as well as the vegetables. Generous portions of both. The fried rice was average clumpy not hot and fresh and just overall bland. The noodles were a pleasant surprise and were much better than the fried rice even though the rice was the preference. The restaurant has a nice and relaxing ambience. Server was prompt and courteous. Would recommend as well as visit this location again. Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent dining experience at this establishment on 10/17/2025 our reservation was for 6:00 Pm Initially, our visit was off to a truly wonderful start. The food served was absolutely outstanding; every dish was prepared to perfection and incredibly delicious. We were particularly impressed by the cook, whose culinary talents shone through, and who also possessed a fantastic, engaging personality that greatly contributed to our enjoyment of the meal. Our waitress, while starting out with excellent and attentive service, unfortunately became less available as the evening progressed. We observed that the restaurant became quite busy, and it appeared she was managing numerous tables simultaneously. While we understand the demands of a busy shift, this did lead to periods where we felt a lack of attentiveness, causing some slight delays in our service. The most significant point of concern arose towards the end of our dining experience. As we were in the process of ordering dessert and a final round of drinks before preparing to depart, we were approached by a manager, Charles, who requested that we move from our reserved table. This request was quite perplexing and frankly, rather disappointing, especially considering we had a reservation for 6:00 PM. We live approximately an hour away from the restaurant and, to our surprise, we were already back home by 7:30 PM. This timeline clearly indicates that we had barely occupied our reserved table, let alone overstayed our welcome. Being asked to relocate while still actively dining left us feeling rushed and unwelcome, which unfortunately overshadowed the otherwise positive aspects of our meal. We had hoped for a more relaxed and uninterrupted dining experience, particularly given the distance we traveled to visit your restaurant. We believe that situations like this could be managed with greater consideration for guests who have made prior arrangements and are still actively enjoying their meal. After Tampa, our trip took us to Atlanta. In Atlanta, our friend who works at this restaurant introduced us to the restaurant. We visited this restaurant twice while staying in Atlanta. The food was excellent! We tried many fish dishes, and I had my best omakase! The first night, we were at the sushi bar. I had the omakase with the nine selections on a plate. The slices were terrific. I loved my fish plate from different regions in Japan. On both nights, we enjoyed a few dishes such as agadashi tofu, edamame, sushi sashimi combo, mussels, etc. We had a chance to say hello to the Chef, Kinjo-San. We had a very nice waiter and waitresses, Victor the first night and Jena the second. On our second night, we enjoyed sushi with our business friends. We ordered a sushi and sashimi combo and some rolls. Everything we had was terrific because the fish was fresh! We asked for Ikumi, so we could say hello to him and he came out to say hello to everybody at the table. Acknowledging the guests was a great gesture, and we appreciated his recommendations. The restaurant is huge! It has several sections, including a hibachi, sushi bar, bar section, and huge dining room. There is plenty of parking in the back. This place looks exactly like a traditional Japanese house. It felt like walking in Japan to get to the restaurant. Perfect service and delicious sushi! Thanks to the management and staff members. Highly recommended!

I've been going to Nakato since the late 80's. But, my last visit was a real eye opener. Even with reservations the wait was unreasonably long and the waiting area was very crowded. And the most outlandish thing was I felt like I was not at a fine dining restaurant but at Chuck E. Cheese. There were unruly kids running all over the place. It was quite shocking. (I don't have a problem with children. I was a child at one time but it was like a Zoo Farmer opened the pigpen gate.) It is unfortunate that there are not very many choices when it comes to fine hibachi restaurants in the Atlanta area. I've told this story to many people who really didn't care. The food was pretty good but not great. I probably won't be going back anytime soon.

My sister in law picked this restaurant for our monthly sisters outing. Restaurant was gorgeous. Had a new experience with the seating layout. It appears your sitting on the floor, but there is a space for legs to hang, so its like your sitting on a bleacher but with back support. There are chair options in a different area. Food was great. Had hibachi chicken and shrimp, and tasted the steak which was very tender. Thought the noodles were bland, but you have to eat it with the proteins and vegetables which made sense for the flavor. My sisters in law enjoyed their lychee margaritas. Everything was going great, until we were approached by an employee named Charles that we needed to move to the " lounge area" ( a bench) because of a large party that needed to be seated. I've never experienced this my whole life. Me and my two sisters in law were in mid conversation and catching up; when Charles came over the whole energy changed, and our night felt abruptly over.

If you're looking for a fun and flavorful dining experience, Nakato is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is lively, with the sizzle of grills and the rhythmic clang of spatulas setting the stage for an entertaining meal. The chefs here are true performers, putting on an exciting show while expertly preparing your meal right at the table. Expect fire tricks, knife juggling, and, of course, the famous onion volcano. Beyond the theatrics, the food is top-notch—perfectly grilled steak, chicken, and seafood, all infused with bold hibachi flavors. The fried rice is a standout, and the sauces add just the right amount of tang and sweetness. Service is prompt and friendly, making sure drinks stay full and special requests are met with a smile. Whether you'recelebrating a birthday, going on a date, or just craving a delicious and interactive meal, NakatoI is a fantastic choice.

Went to staplehouse for lunch to try the grinder sandwich, but ended up trying the pizza as well. We went on a Saturday and street parking was free. We ordered the grinder sandwich for $23 and a pesto and Jamon (ham) pizza for $35. The food came out within 15 minutes. The grinder sandwich was tasty! There were many flavors and textures. Overall, it had a strong garlic/pesto saucy flavor to me. I liked the crunch of the pickled carrots. It's a good sandwich for sure if you're a sandwich lover. The pizza we picked had no cheese layer or red sauce. It was smoked burrata with Jamon ham, and arugula with balsamic vinegrette on top, so it almost felt like a salad on top of the pizza. The pizza dough was thin and delicious, but they somehow get the crust thick and chewy. The flavor again was very pesto and balsamic vinegarette driven. It was well made and the arugula was very crunchy/fresh, but it's a personal size pizza for a steep price. Overall, we thought that the food was well made and good, but i don't see myself going out if my way to come here for a sandwich or pizza. One thing that surprised us was that they charge a 4% employee health insurance to their customers for their employees. It wasn't disclosed in advance, so we were surprised when we saw it on our receipt. I'm sharing just in case anyone has a budget to follow, as it is a surprise charge. This place is mainly self service, so you can get your own water and napkins. There's limited seating inside and an outdoor patio. It's casual inside with lots of plants and wine. Cool experience!

Staplehouse is absolutely gorgeous—such a cool, homey, and relaxed atmosphere that I really enjoyed. The salads were incredible, especially the tomato salad, which was easily the standout. The pizzas had great flavor, but unfortunately, the toppings slid off the moment you picked up a slice, which was a bit disappointing. The ricotta pizza with spicy honey and tomato sauce was extremely spicy—much spicier than expected. I wish the person taking our order had given us a heads-up, as I assumed it would be more of a mild drizzle than a full-on heat experience. The drinks, however, were amazing! I had the Bramble, and it was super refreshing. One thing that caught me off guard was the self-service aspect—you have to grab your own plates, silverware, and water from a large orange jug. If my friend hadn’t been there before, I wouldn’t have known that, as no one explained it to us. Finally, while I understand and respect their concept, paying $60 for a salad, pizza, and one drink, I didn’t expect to bus my own table at the end. It just didn’t quite match the price point or dining experience I anticipated.

Discovered this restaurant in the Michelin Guide as it has a Michelin star. Was very excited to try this place and looking at the reviews and photos my hopes were high. My first confusion was with the menu. While it said that some items are rotating I was unable to find an actual menu on their website, just an ordering page that seemed too short to be true. Parking for the restaurant was hard on a Saturday for dinner - not the restaurants fault. Greeting staff was very friendly on reserved me a seat outside while I was ordering as this restaurant does not have table service. Ordering was a little weird as the menu wasn’t really visible with two people in front of me and drinks were spread across a couple of open fridges which didn’t really give this a premium experience for the price. Guy at the checkout was nice too but didn’t ID for my drink. An auto gratuity of 20% seems to be the unfortunate standard now and even though I was pretty sure I selected other tip and no tip, again since there was no real table service, I was charged a roughly 20% tip. I wouldn’t be surprised, however, if the restaurant included a hidden automatic 20% gratuity as they also charge a 4% EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE SURCHARGE. With the prices of menu items this was a little bit outrageous to me. Now to the actual food: ordered the SH hot chicken and got my order brought to my table in a short amount of time. Presentation was very underwhelming for a Michelin star restaurant and the taste even more so. Nun had little to no taste at all. Chicken didn’t feel like the best quality but I couldn’t really tell because it was so spicy - at least that was right. Could not taste the mayo unfortunately. Overall, a chicken sandwich from pretty much any fast casual chain would’ve been tastier and the item should have deserved some kind of a side. One of the staffers rolled their eyes when I asked for napkins and another argued with me that this would be Nashville style hot chicken is just supposed to be burning in your mouth. If this was supposed to be Nashville style hot chicken I have had better at some fast food chains. Overall a very disappointing experience and would not consider coming back. Pizza looked very good but since the staffer at the register advised me against it I wouldn’t take the risk and come back to try it. Very unfortunate - my worst experience with a Michelin star restaurant so far.

Always a good time with really interesting, beautiful food! The dry aged Sunday burger was amazing. A great spot in the summer because their patio is beautiful.

10/10 market style restaurant in ATL I love staplehouse!! This was my second time visiting and I had to bring my mom here when she was in town. We had the pepperoni pizza and caesar salad. The salad was very try non traditional with kale, fennel and crunchy onions, but everything was delicious. Not pictured was the huge lemon white chocolate cookie was devoured after lunch. You have to try this restaurant if you haven’t yet!

We're from Europe and while visiting Atlanta, we discovered this place from the Michelin Guide. We read reviews before coming so we knew it would not be the typical Michelin Star experience. You ordered from the counter and there is no really table service, but it's totally fine. We came for the food and we figured if this place earned a Michelin star without the service and the restaurant standing, the food must be incredible. So we ordered a charcuterie plate as a starter and then we had a meatball sandwich, one Margherita and 2 Peperoni pizzas. The charcuterie plate was ok at best, the various cheese and charcuterie are the same you would find pre-packed in any grocery store in Europe, we had way better in many normal restaurants. Then came the sandwich which were served wrapped like a to go sandwich from Subway. They charged you 25$ before tax for this sandwich and I litterally had better sandwich at Subway! The pizzas were ok, it's real Neapolitan style pizza with airy crust and soft and crunchy dough. But the problem is you expect much better than that in a Michelin star restaurant, the pizzas are the same you would find in any place that serve Neapolitan pizza, there were no twist in the Margherita, just tomato sauce, mozzarella and a bit of basil for 21$. They added a bit of peperoni and there you have your Peperoni. Finally we had a cookie for desert and guess what, it's just an average cookie. The people were nice, nothing special to report here. One last thing, they automatically charge you 4% for the personnel health insurance, which I find borderline as they also ask for tips with a minimum suggested of 18%, while there were no real service as you order from the counter. Oh and you pay upfront, right after ordering. This was a very bad experience for a Michelin star restaurant and hadn't it been a Michelin star, it would have been an ok. Because overall, nothing was bad, but nothing was very good neither. The price they're asking is simply ridiculous for the quality they serve.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the Martin Luther King memorial. The food is excellent, tasty and simple. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great reasonably priced sandwiches and popcorn! Fun place to share a few things! The spiked Coke slushy is delicious! Lots of people have their dogs outside and the vibe is very relaxed. Easy to come on a date or with friends.

I love the Tea Bird Sandwiches. They have a nice kick from the ghost pepper jack cheese that compliments the chicken well. This is a good pit stop location on the beltline for a late quick night bite. Recommendations for Victory owners: it would be great to have more poultry or fish options. For folks who don’t eat beef or pork, this would be a welcome menu addition.

Cool hangout spot for light bites and drinks. The sandwiches are small, so if you’re hungry you probably need two. They’re more like creative bar food. We had the Hambo and Han Cholo and both were decent.

Go to spot on the beltline for a quick bite and drink! Great for big groups and has a ton of outdoor seating. Their new breakfast was great! One of my new remote work spots.

Went here on lunch break. I ordered 2 of the Texas chainslaw massacre sandwiches. Food is amazing and the service was very fast and A+. I loved the atmosphere. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

First, love all the fresh flowers that surround the converted parking lot / outdoor seating arrangement. The ambience in the evening is especially nice. Service is pretty good - they had (1) person taking all the orders for the outside area Quality of food is high. I think it’s slightly pricey (I’m GF, so 1 sandwich is $8, and it’s a pretty small sandwich). If you want a bag of chips to go with it, that’s another $3. But they have unique sandwiches that taste yummy, so that’s what keeps us coming. I loved the BLT and my husband loved the little Havana. We also ordered the tea bird sandwich (without the ghost pepper jack cheese - too spicy!) and Han cholo. Drink/wise, the whiskey coke slushie is is super popular. I had one sip and it was too overpowering of a liquor taste to me. The Voodoo you love drink was very unique I’d actually rate this place a 5/5 if it was slightly cheaper prices. I do recommend. Located right off of the path (they do have free street parking). Edit: they do change their menus. A visit in March 2024 learned they removed the BLT from their menu which is a huge disappointment. That’s a “summer” menu item. As of June 2025 it isn’t back yet. Please bring back the BLT!!

This is one of Atlanta’s little gems. The atmosphere is amazing, winter or summer it’s cute a cute place to stop by for a little treat! Super warm environment for meeting up with friends! They have a little menu, but everything is simple and amazing! I would highly recommend the hummus, the chips are amazing, and the flavor of hummus changes on the daily along with the soups!In the summer you can sit on the patio with the tents, it’s very excluded despite being In a decently busy area! They have alcoholic drinks along with a water station! I would definitely recommend!

Food was very delicious! We got the fried chicken Reuben with a potato salad side and the Famous Po' Boy sandwich with fries. Both dishes were great and were enough for more than 1 portion. Great for a price point of about $13-14 each. The service was mediocre. The ambience was also just alright. There was a big bright white fluorescent light shining right above our heads. It was a fast food/deli vibe. Sound levels were good, you could have a conversation easily and there was nice music.

Today was my first time having Goldbergs. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Parking wasn't easy to find with it being lunch time but,The prices are reasonable, the food and service are great! I ordered the NY style Ruben with Onion rings. Jojo was my cashier she was personable and helpful. Each servicer was great. I am looking forward to my next visit !

This was my 1st trip to GA, and my 1st visit to Goldbergs. Our server Quashaun was fabulous!! There were 8 of us for brunch, plus his other tables, and he was on point. Our dishes were delicious i had an omelet and of course a bagel 🥯. A NYer in a bagel shop, not in NY - I was not disappointed. They have an extensive variety of bagels to choose from and an ample selection of pastries, as well. If you find yourself in any of the many locations, I'm sure you too will be pleased. & If you're in Toco Hills, ask to sit in Quashaun section- tell him NY said hello.

Friendly cafe for breakfast or lunch. Great bagels, eggs, nova, and omelets. Fast service and good qualities. I got the two eggs with nova and it comes with a bagel and latkes too! They have places to sit and be waited on as well as counter services with a seating area. Highly recommend!

It's not worth it. Had the Brooklyn Reuben. It was not as shown in the picture on the menu. Nothing special, could have made a better one at home. One half had almost no meat-to-sauerkraut. No part of the sandwich stood out taste wise. The fries seemed frozen, not house made. The people at the counter were friendly.

I really do love me some Goldbergs, and I will update this rating from one star, but I hope it gets your attention. If you didn't know any better, you would think that these 4 bagles were from 4 different delis. They greatly varied in size as you can see, and went from small and almost rock hard like it was 2 days old, to large, soft and fresh. I have also noticed in the past that the bread they use for the po-boy is completely different from the other locations. I remember scrounging for change to buy a po-boy when it was only $2.95, so been a loyal customer for decades. Hope you can improve on this consistency issue 🙏

The beyond burger was awesome " on steroids" today! Cooked to perfection! And I enjoyed the greetings and hospitality from Rick, the General Manager, Jackie, Server, and Trevor, Server. I always receive 5-star guest service from all three of them! Moreover, they are gifted in connecting with me and make me feel like a valued guest, as well as,(beyond that), a valued person. They greatly contribute to a most friendly, family-like atmosphere. They are not only awesome team leaders, but, awesome individuals!!

Absolutely spectacular Michelin star restaurant in Midtown Atlanta. Came here for my wife's birthday and enjoyed our entire experience. Prior to arriving, we were called by the manager or owner to confirm our meal choice which he recommended the 6 course menu for us first timers. Turns out, it was an excellent choice and left us feeling satisfied and we'll fed. The drinks were excellent as well and we're recommended to us by our excellent server Anthony who was very helpful, friendly, and helped guide us through our meal with great personality. There were other team members who explained some of the courses to us, and they were all very thorough and kind as well. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent with a nice looking bar that helps balance out the very well designed and not overly crowded restaurant. The entire experience at Lazy Betty was truly a Michelin star worthy experience and my wife and I were both completely satisfied. 5 stars easily and two very enthusiastic thumbs up for Lazy Betty! Thank you to all staff for an exceptional dinner!

This was a downright amazing experience. Our whole serving team was exceptional. Each course introduced us to the next chapter of the culinary story impeccably. Gracie paired amazing wines along our adventure. Rose kept pouring the love table-side. Impressed doesn’t even begin to cover our feelings with this meal tonight. The whole team, from kitchen to mixology to waitstaff, care about the hospitality they deliver and the quality of what they set down in front of us. Kudos and don’t change a thing. Cannot wait to return. Thank you!

From the moment I arrived, every member of the staff—hosts, servers, and everyone in between—made me feel truly celebrated with warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism. The food was impeccable: each dish exquisitely prepared, visually stunning, and bursting with flavor. As a discerning vegetarian and picky eater, I was amazed to savor every course, from vibrant entrées to indulgent, mouthwatering desserts. By the end of the evening, I left not only satisfied but elated. Everything exceeded my expectations!!!!

While the airline dropped the ball, Lazy Betty picked it up SCORED! They made our night over in Atlanta positively memorable. The food is top tier, from flavors to execution we were so lucky to enjoy the deserved Michelin meal. Thank you kitchen team and chefs. Have to give a big shout out to Conrad and Austin. Austin for the warm hospitality and conversation at the bar. Conrad.... after hearing our plight of the airline causing us to miss our flight to Tokyo he pulled out all the stops for our experience. This gentleman went above and beyond for us, really showed us the meaning of Southern Hospitality. Thank you Conrad. If you're in or around Atlanta- Lazy Better is a must to visit!

Literally. Amazing. My girlfriend treated me to this spectacular dinner for my 25th and wow… what a treat. We both did the vegetarian tasting menu and added the wine pairings and the truffle risotto. It added up to almost 1k… but honestly for how much fun we had we felt it was worth the money. The staff was so kind and attentive. The food was such an adventure. And the wine was out of this world. Hope to be back sooner than later!!

Exceptional! As avid foodies and dedicated star collectors, believe me when I say we’ve experienced countless tastings across the country—but this one truly stood out. From the moment we were seated to the moment we left, everything was flawless. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the entire staff made it an unforgettable occasion. This was our second visit, and it somehow surpassed the first! Every server and the sommelier treated us with such genuine care and attention, going above and beyond in every way. I’ve never experienced such outstanding hospitality and excellence at any fine dining establishment, especially for a special celebration. This evening will remain one of our most cherished memories. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who made our night so extraordinary!

My wife and I have been trying to come here and we finally came. Parking in the neighborhood a little off for free and walked up. Didn’t see dedicated parking. There were four people in front of us and 20 people behind us in a line outside, which moves as fast as the person in front of you orders. I was surprised to see no inside seating, only outside seating. There was a covered outside seating space and other seats with little umbrellas and rotating fans. Plenty of seating for a multitude, but I’m sure the weather really affects business conditions. I figure the tacos must be great if people are waiting in a line patiently. Steak Taco- was lacking some wetness/sauce and flavor Barbacoa Taco- a bit dry, ok Mahi Mahi Taco-I like how they fried the fish, just needed a bit more flavor to push through. Veggie Taco-good cream sauce that I wish was vegan instead. The sauce made the tortilla shell wet and unable to pick up. Had to eat with a fork. Pulled Pork Taco- just OK. Needed sauce unique to this meat with more flavor and elevation. Chicken Tamale- 10/10 best item we had. It tasted like a Mexican cornbread dressing. We could have ordered four of these instead of the tacos. Charro Beans- 10/10 great taste. pork skin in the center, but it’s easy to remove so this wasn’t a big problem, good skins so a person who eats pork would probably want to order a side of skins. I really like the atmosphere, open seating, ability to chat with friends in the open air when weather conditions permit, free neighborhood parking, fast food, and great service. The servers/food deliverers really were some of the coolest servers we’ve ever had, chill and easy-going with a good spirit. The tacos just weren’t memorable. Not saying they were bad, just not memorable. I couldn’t recommend any one of the tacos I ordered today Unlike I could recommend the tamale and the Charro beans.

Mexican restaurant with old school Atlanta vibe. In a Saturday afternoon, it was a solid 30+ min wait in line to order food, then prob 20 minutes to receive it. Overall food was good - a tad spicy for my tastes. Food decently priced but the alcohol is pricey - $25 margarita is high! While you’re in line, a server does walk by to take drink orders. Chips ($4.50) so come with a decent amount of salsa, which I appreciate. The mildest one was still a bit spicy for me Great outdoor seating (no indoor seating). Tons of dogs!

My only complaint is the wait time. We waited around 45 minutes to place our order, but it’s understandable since it’s a popular spot and it was a Saturday night. The place is dog friendly and kid friendly, which is always a plus. The food was totally worth the wait for sureeeee! I had a quesadilla with a side of rice and beans, and even though the place looks a bit gentrified, the flavor was authentic and way better than I expected. The prices are reasonable. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of seating. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Best place for Mexican in Atlanta. Their menu has a great variety of burritos, tacos and mulitas. And has vegetarian options available. The margaritas are really good and they have a wide selection of drinks available. There's plenty of seating available. Don't be discouraged by the sometimes long line, it's worth it. Pro tip: while you wait you can already get a drink at a bar at the back.

Great outdoor space when the weather is good! Tons of drink options, beer, NA, and others. Food we got was good and served quickly, seems fresh - bathrooms where a wreck, otherwise place was cool vibe

Had a great time at El Tesoro. The vibe was super cool and the margs were strong, although I'm not sure they were actually skinny as we requested. I had the chicken tinga bowl which was good but not phenomenal. The server who delivered our food seemed a bit indifferent as well which took a little away from the vibe. We'll come back but I'll likely try something else and sit under the heaters in the tents as it's getting a tad cold.

The atmosphere here makes El Tesoro a tesoro (treasure). You just get a really great feeling the moment you arrive. The line is long but worth the wait. There’s a lot of options to choose from. I noticed there are no tacos al pastor here. Overall, the food is good. The drinks are great. My friends enjoyed their Micheladas. The outdoor seating really ties everything together. We were told that they put heaters outside when it gets much colder. So no worries if you decide to come in the Winter!

I've been to Bomb Biscuit before and decided to check it out again right at opening on a weekday – no wait, which was cool! I went for the Hot Honey chicken biscuit with pimento cheese and an egg, hoping for an explosion of flavors. While the components were all there, I found the overall "dial" on the flavor a little turned down. I was anticipating a bolder, more cohesive punch. I'd give the biscuit a solid 3 out of 5. I did enjoy their specialty cinnamon bun! I hate I can't remember the name (still pictured), but trust me, it was a 5 out of 5 masterpiece! Perfectly gooey, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, a great experience with a clean and casual vibe.

Absolutely incredible experience and well worth the 45-minute wait. The server Exodia was so sweet, accommodating, and attentive! And don’t get me started about how good the food was. Got the vegan SEC, chicken and waffles, and the glori-fried sandwich and they were all incredible.

The hype is real. If you are in ATL, this is a pilgrimage that you must make. The buscuits are out of this world... huge, almost like buns. The hot honey chicken is again, without comparison. It doesn't feel as crispy as a Korean-style fried chicken as they don't batter it up as much but the magic is with the southern hot/chili honey sauce. It's simply heaven. There really isn't anything like this and again, you can only pull this off when the quality of the buscit has a certain level of moisture and chewyness. And another magical moment was the buscuit dough cinnamon balls - not sure what they were called. Initially, it looked large, stuffy, dry and commercial. Completely mistaken here. These are truly magical balls. Just enough crisp, ample airyness yet meaningfully substantive. It's not a donut like Krispy Kremes. It's not a heavy bread. The texture and the innards is a balance that I have never seen before. Reservations are impossible. But fret not. Just order pick up online and eat at the benches outside. This isn't about dining in. It is simply experiencing what a next level buscuit met with lovely chicken meat can do. Seldom do I feel like I've tasted something never before from straightfoward known food items. Bomb Biscuit has set a new bar for me. I cannot wait to visit ATL again, just to come back here.

Good food, but no liquor. For me, a GREAT brunch spot has good food along with mimosas and a good Bloody Mary. Although this place is alcohol free, the food made up for it. It was spacious, had good air conditioning, and played good music. The food seemed to be cooked fresh to order since it took a bit longer, but it was worth the wait. My hot honey chicken biscuit (egg added) was season to perfection and the chicken and biscuit breakfast was really good as well. My only minor issue was the $6.50 side of breakfast potatoes were undercooked. But all in all, I’ll definitely be back.

I heard great reviews about Bomb Biscuits so I was eager to try it. Some of the options I wanted were sold out so I tried the jalapeño cheese and plain Biscuit. Maybe it was an off day, but the jalapeño cheese had an interesting taste (wasn't really cheesy, didn't have a spicy kick to it) and I was unable to finish it. The plain Biscuit was just ok. The staff was really nice and explained the menu. I love a good biscuit so when I'm back in Atlanta, hopefully I can get the same food experience others have had from here.

Such an AWESOME experience at this establishment. From the host, to management, to our server, to the food. I absolutely LOVE the wall of HBCU penants and look forward to it's growth. Had the salmon patties, which were amazing. The grits with cheese, also awesome. Definitely making out way back again and again.

The bacon biscuit and lemon pepper chicken biscuit are delicious! Long wait but the biscuit is worth it, likely good to go as well if you’re not willing to wait. If you want coffee, I would get it from the coffee shop across the sidewalk since their black coffee is nothing to shout about. I like the consistency of the eggs on the egg and cheese biscuit as well!

I'm not sure how you forget the bread on a catfish sandwich but that's what they did. It's literally 1 of 2 ingredients & one was left off my order. I tried to speak with the lady in the front about a glitch in DoorDash, she was only concerned with getting me out the door so she could serve the next person. I should've know better tryna explain something to a black woman, conversations never go well with the majority of them. Anyway the fish was seasoned very good & it was cooked great. Just wish I could've gotten my entire sandwich. Considering I'll never go back, I know these folks could care less. I tried to be nice person, it didn't go so well so now we're here.

We're from out of town and wanted to try some genuine southern style food. We're glad we stopped! Everyone in our family raved about their food orders. Everything was delicious and portions were generous enough to have leftovers to take back to the hotel. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. While we were eating in the dining room, Chef Curtis came out to make sure all the patrons were enjoying their meals. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. We loved it!

The food is great always a good selection and everything is fresh!! The staff always so friendly and helpful. They have a lot of options to choose from. And desserts to die for!! A good bargain for the money and your full with plenty leftover!! I love K & K Soul Food keeps me healthy with their selections!! Whomever is doing the greens please less spicy I hate spicy stuff!! I came in 10/22/25 and the greens were extra spicy everything else was great as usual!!

Our last day in ATL we decided to try this restaurant. The place was packed. The fried chicken wings were GREAT. The mac & cheese was dry( We prefer creamy Mac) and the peach cobbler crust was still very doughy. The sweet tea was a little too sweet even for my husband who loves super sweet tea. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Should we return we will try something different.

This is still my favorite soul food spot. And still the most reasonably priced with good portion sizes. The desserts are home made. And they have Peach and Apple cobbler, which sells out quickly. The red velvet cake tastes like big mamas! No one makes broccoli cheese rice like they do! Perfectly proportioned. The fish and pork chops are always fresh, so there may be a wait for them. But everything else is cafeteria style and ready to go. The line may be a little long, but the service is quick. You'll be in ans out unless you take a seat to eat! Seat yourself! They have ample parking too. They are closed on Mondays. Often you will see working folks there for breakfast, but they grab their lunch too! Including that cobbler (again apple and peach). I can eat the cobbler for breakfast it is so good! Whenever I am in that side of town, K & K is a must have.

The staff was great. Everything looked good on the food line. I had the 3 fried chicken wings. Everything was tasty except the corn muffins. The lemon was sweet and I needed to mix with water. My friend loved his turkey wings.

I had the turkey wing plate with dressing , candied yams ,cornbread, sweet tea, and banana pudding. The turkey wing plate was disappointing but that over priced banana pudding was worth every dollar. The yams had too much nutmeg on it , the dressing was a big miss, and the turkey wings would taste better if they were in a gravy ( they’re a lil on the dry side ) . The banana pudding 🥹🥹 the best !!!! So for that I’ll give more stars.

Absolutely delicious from start to finish. Every dish had layers of flavor and intention. We started with two appetizers, the mussels and the salmon tart. The sauce from the mussels was incredible, bursting with flavor. We even ordered extra bread just to soak it up, the extra bread was their fried pita-style bread, which came with a lightly sweetened herby butter. I almost dipped it in the sauce, but after the first bite, I decided to enjoy it on its own, the bread and butter together were perfect. For entrées, we shared their take on paella and the blackened halibut. Both were seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. Joshua, our server, was excellent, funny, attentive, and genuinely himself. His energy made the meal even better

Definitely not your regular Peruvian restaurant but yet delicious. I had the tio Oysters to begin and it was very different and good, after I got the Ceviche and the Arros con Mariscos. Something that it is really amazing was the great service, I was at the bar and Haiden was super fun, helpful and knowledgeable and the food was super fast served. Pisco Sour are great too. I definitely want to come back and try the $1 oysters on happy hour.

First of all we are Peruvian. It’s been so hard to find a good restaurant that makes it worth it. This is the one. We really enjoyed our food. Full of flavor, good size plates. Chris was so nice. Will be back for sure!

Tip Lucho’s is a whimsical marriage betwixt the rugged soul of Peru and the genteel manners of southern lands. The atmosphere was of such charm that even the lamps seemed to hum in bilingual delight. One could scarce fault the architect, I felt half-inclined to applaud whoever had the good sense to merge alpacas with peaches. The cocktails, were a triumph! For once, I found myself unable to summon complaint, a rare and disorienting condition. Each glass bore craftsmanship that is worthy of praise. Try the libations that the Peruvian locals drink. Yet, tragedy awaits all who dine! For when the plates arrived, I feared the waiter had lost his way and mistakenly brought the amuse-bouche of some unseen duke. The “shared” dishes were, I daresay, shared only between a mouse and his shadow. The prices, however, were bold and imperial, quite the opposite of the servings, which could barely sustain a sparrow on a diet. One must order two dishes merely to avoid perishing in polite hunger, and I, who eat modestly, found myself gazing upon the empty plate like Hamlet upon Yorick’s skull “Alas, poor ceviche! I knew thee well.” And this predicament isn’t something a restaurant should bear, as people venture there for food itself. I shall, perhaps, return for the drinks, those faithful companions of good cheer. But the food is a culinary sonnet tragically abridged, a masterpiece of flavor tragically murdered by portion control.

Stopped by and had the best time! The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and the drinks were even better — thanks to Jesse behind the bar. You can tell they really know their craft — every cocktail was perfectly balanced and made with care. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. If you’re looking for a place with great vibes, delicious drinks, and a bartender who makes you feel like a regular from the moment you sit down, definitely check out Tío Luchos!

My first time in Atlanta and this place checked all of the boxes for me. I sat at the bar and Chris, the bartender, was attentive and offered great suggestions for both food and drink. If you like mussels, you must try their version. Such a fun cocktail menu, too. The music and atmosphere added a great vibe to the evening. I can’t wait to come back and bring my friends!

One of the best experiences I have had for a meal! I found this place on a few lists for best spots in Atlanta- it did not disappoint. Courtney the bartender was lovely and so attentive. I had 2 different cocktails including the Ticonderoga cup which was great. The beef hand pie and pot’s eggplant were excellent. Service was flawless. Will certainly be back!

A Must Visit Gem on the BeltLine. The restaurant is tucked inside Krog Street Market, and an absolute standout in Atlanta’s food scene. I’m still thinking about the flavors two days after dining there- it was that good. The atmosphere is charming, designed like an old school dive bar with a cozy, welcoming vibe. We sat at the bar, and our bartender made the experience even more memorable with his knowledgeable recommendations and friendly conversation. He even crafted a custom hibiscus mocktail for me, which was incredible. The food was outstanding. We started with the ceviche, which was mind-blowing. It had an addictive spicy kick that kept us going back for more despite the heat. Ceviche was intensely flavorful and unlike any ceviche I’ve had before. We also tried the pork and the crispy eggplant, both infused with bold Asian flavors. The eggplant, in particular, was a standout with its crispy, unique preparation and something I’d come back for in a heartbeat. Even though I’m just visiting Atlanta, I’m already thinking about returning. The food, the hospitality, and the attention to detail, especially in the cocktails (which I watched being made right in front of me) make Ticonderoga Club a place you’ll want to revisit.

Ticonderoga Club delivers bold, flavorful dishes with generous portion sizes and excellent drinks that stand out. The food quality is impressive, and the cocktails are well-crafted and enjoyable. However, the menu is quite limited, with only three starters, around six main courses, and just one dessert option—and even then, some listed items weren’t available during my visit. The lack of side options also makes the dining experience feel a bit constrained. While the flavors and portions are great, the restaurant is pretty pricey for what’s being offered, especially considering the limited selection and availability. With a bit more variety and consistency, it could offer much better value.

The atmosphere was super fun and unique - we loved the skeleton character seen throughout the menu and branding, as well as the eclectic and cool decor found throughout the restaurant. Not only was the restaurant full of character, the menu was full of unique and delicious items too. From a classic wedge salad, to the unexpected sweet and sour chargrilled pork steak, and the lemon-cornmeal cake for dessert, everything tasted amazing; every plate left our table completely cleared. To top it all off, the drinks were delicious too! Perfect mixes of flavor and the right amount of buzz, we could not be happier with our experience at the Ticonderoga Club. Every staff member was friendly and courteous. Big shoutouts and thank you’s to Franny, our server, who was super attentive and gave us fantastic menu recommendations, as well as Greg for making our experience extra special (as well as being one of the folks we can thank for bringing this place to life). The Ticonderoga Club is truly special and I highly recommend everyone to grab a bite, drink some cocktails, and enjoy the vibes at the House of the Friends of the Skull!

Come for the cocktails (and a very well chosen wine list), stay for the always right on food. The cozy, tucked away atmosphere only makes special dinners here more intimate without it seeming like a white tablecloth joint. Always been one of Atlanta's best and it's only getting better.

We stopped by for a quick takeout dinner and were extremely impressed by how flavorful the food was. Every item we tried was delicious—especially the ribs and the pulled pork sandwich. The lemonade was also excellent. One thing to note: the portion sizes for the sides listed on the menu are very small (see picture), likely less than half a cup. I’d recommend ordering a pint if you’re looking for a more satisfying portion.

Tried out Fat Matt’s Rib Shack and overall, it was a decent experience. The ribs had a very unique flavor — not bad, not great, just different. The sauce was bold enough that it kind of drowned out the smoke and any seasoning on the meat, which might not be for everyone. The sides were solid, and the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was laid-back and quiet when I visited, but I can imagine it gets pretty lively with their live music, especially in such a small space. It’s clearly a local favorite, and I can see the charm, but personally, I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop by again. Worth checking out if you’re nearby and curious, but maybe not a destination BBQ spot for me.

Small but huge in flavor and service. Dont ask and just come, you won’t be disappointed. Best prices and live entertainment. Def coming back and telling the boys. Well done guys…

Instagram told me to come here! This spot is not bad. It will definitely satisfy your BBQ craving. Honestly, I've had better BBQ elsewhere, but this place will get the job done if you're itchin' for ribs. The main thing I dislike is that they don't offer any combos; everything sold separately. My ribs and mac & cheese were satisfying. I disliked my baked beans because it had a watery/soupy consistency. I prefer thick baked beans. And I didn't like the way they seasoned it. I love the old-school feel of the place. I appreciate them giving military discount. All in all, I'm glad I gave this spot a try. I can scratch it off my "to-try" list. Would I come back? No -- all because I can compare this BBQ place to other spots and family cookouts that are better than here.

First time here. Delicious smoked ribs, juicy and tender and full of flavor. Beer was good too. Service was good. Overall a great value. I recommend this place if you are craving BBQ. My advice, add smoked brisket and French fries as a side!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fat Macs (M-A-T-T-S) in Atlanta is a gem! It’s just down from Piedmont Park, and my mom kept reminding me about it—I had been a long time ago but couldn’t remember. I finally went back and wow, I’m so glad I did. I tried the small end sandwiches just to sample, and oh my gosh—they were perfectly done, with just the right crispiness. The barbecue sauce is absolutely delicious. I should’ve grabbed a bottle to take home! Next time I’m in Atlanta, I’m planning to order a whole slab with extra sauce on the side. And I can’t forget to mention—I love the live band. The music really adds to the whole experience and makes the atmosphere even better. Fat Macs is definitely on my list for a return visit. Highly recommend!

Stopped here for Father's day ribs. Absolutely did not disappoint. We ordered the ribs to go and they were fantastic. The bbq sauce is the perfect mix of smokey with a hint of spicy. I'm bummed you don't have a location in Orlando.

Wow what an amazing experience! Came for a friend's birthday dinner and everything was fantastic. Delicious food and the outstanding service really stood out! We tried the spicy kale salad, she crab soup, hush puppies, and sword fish entree. Everything was tasty, but the best parts of the meal were the complimentary butter rolls at the start of the meal (they came out piping hot, perfectly soft and buttery, and with a finish of flaky salt) and the hush puppies too (perfectly fried soft on the inside and finished with some powdered sugar beignet style for a nice savory and sweet combo). Dessert was the HIGHLIGHT of the meal. The muscadine sorbet was wow so fresh and the flavor of the grape really popped. We also tried the apple layer cake with rosemary ice cream, and the flavors in it were so unique and delicious as well. The rosemary ice cream was incredible and had slight savory notes, and the brown butter crumble balanced it well. Would return again simply for the dessert!! I also wanted to give credit to our amazing waitress! The service was fantastic and she was very kind to accommodate any requests we had. Will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed dinner here. We were given a gift certificate. The food was beautifully prepared. The restaurant is nice and our server was awesome. Honestly we felt the tables were too close together and the music was too loud and the oysters were really small for the price. The steak could have had more seasoning. The salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had and the rolls and potatoes were perfect! The lava cake looked delicious but it was overly gooey. Almost like uncooked brownie batter and Hershey’s syrup.

Valet parking was offered for $6 which was the most convenient option. Hosts during checking in for reservation were friendly. And as walking in greeted by other employees as well. Since it was just me, I sat at the bar. Patrick was my server/bartender. He explained the drinks well in regards to ingredients and taste. Food was good. I ordered the octopus, wood roasted oysters, and the duck fat poached swordfish. Everything was delicious. Was advised they change options on their menu often so will definitely be back.

Some of the food was phenomenal, and some of it was just meh. My swordfish and my girlfriend’s halibut were both overcooked slightly. It made for chewy and dry seafood. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The sauce in the swordfish is flavorful and the star of that dish! The potatoes are crispy and flavorful. It’s very noisy in the restaurant. The outside seating was much quieter. Our service was EXCELLENT. Holden was our server. He was knowledgeable and timely. Provided great menu insights.

It was a really good culinary experience. My favorite part was the $1,75 happy hour oysters at the bar. I had the devils eggs, Bluefin Tuna carpaccio and lobster roll. I will definitely come back. At first I was a little disappointed because it took about 20 minutes to get my oysters but I realized later that was because they brought all the 24 at once. I will recommend to the management to add some coasters so that the bar doesn't get wet and we don't get wet with the condensation of the cold drinks.

Great dining experience! Our server Austin M went above and beyond to ensure all of our dining expectations were met! I love when servers are knowledgeable about the options on the menu! It makes choosing a dish so much easier! I couldn’t get enough of the bread rolls. I swear they were just swimming in butter. That’s how delicious they are! I ordered the mocktails and those drinks were very light and refreshing. Perfect for the summer time. I ordered 2 rounds of the Wood Roasted Oysters because I’m obsessed with Oysters. Lol! For my main dish, I ordered the Denver steak, medium well with the summer vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection! You guys will definitely be seeing me again! This is my second time here and it was just as good as I remember. The food and drinks were phenomenal and this was my first time getting an order from the oyster bar. Deducted a point for atmosphere as it was quite loud for a pretty chill Thursday night.

The waitress Shelby? I believe was wonderful, attentive and pleasant. The food was gross. My grilled cheese wasn't even melted and and the toasted bread wasn't toasted at all and the green stuff on the bread was yucky. The fries were cold and my daughter enjoyed her burger but I wasn't impressed at all. The drinks Were good.

We had a relative visiting from out of town and we thought the Vortex would be a cool spot to have lunch. We were right. First, when we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess that was friendly with a smile. We also noticed it didn’t smell like anything which was great! No off putting cleaner smells or dirty bar smell. That was refreshing. The atmosphere is definitely very cool and fun to look at. You do not get bored looking at all the decor topped to bottom in the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and all the food that came out of the kitchen. Looked fresh and hat with good proportions. The crinkle fries looked fantastic so I had to order a side order of those. And I’m so glad I did. They were actually full size french fries that were thick, cooked perfectly and yummy! The burgers are good, but not the best I’ve had. Atleast not for $20. We would definitely go back for an order of fries and a drink and maybe an appetizer but probably not a burger. Zombie apocalypse burger, - good Black and blue burger - very good Side salad - good Side of crinkle fries - very good There is a free parking lot which is nice. This restaurant is 21 and over only, at all times. Although we didn’t check out the upstairs, there are two floors of seating. Would go back.

Ordered a burger, medium cooked but was greeted by a basically raw burger. Staff made me a new one that was a bit better but still far from medium. Staff were good and accommodating. Can't beat the decor.

I've heard about this place for a long time and finally decided to try it. I loved the atmosphere and all the flair on the walls. The staff were hip and a lot of them had cool shirts on. We got the Cheeseballs-o-Glory for our appetizer. They had great cheese-pull and were fried perfectly. The burgers on the other hand are simply out of this world. Be prepared to unhinge your jaw or cut it up into smaller pieces because they are stacked high with awesome toppings. We ordered the Four Horsemen burger and the KA’MANA WA’NA LEI’YA burger. If it's busy, parking can be a little bit of a struggle, but it didn't take us too long to wait for a spot on a Saturday evening.

The burgers are big and flavorful. We got them to go so we had to wait about 15 minutes to enjoy them. They were still amazing so fresh of the grill they are probably outstanding.

This establishment is very clean inside. The bar area, dining, and men's restroom were clean. The staff was kind and said welcome as you entered. The atmosphere comfortable and cozy. I only had the hot wings because I went there to watch football. This is not the place to watch sports because the only have 2 small T.V.'s ans if you're at the bar the T.V.'s are to your back. Free parking if you use there spots.

Me and my fiance came here on July 12th at around 10:30 to 11 at night to try this place. After a late night concert, we came down to see. We were able to be seated within 15 minutes, and the host was wonderful that night. When we got to the table, we waited about 15-20 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and then when ordering, we were told the cheesy changas were out and the glass my fiancé wanted to buy was out. That's fine, I ordered my food, and we waited about 35-40 minutes for our food while our server chatted with one table all night long and couldn't be bothered to refill my water cup until my fiance went up to the bar to get refills on water. He left me without water for over 30 minutes. The burger I had was phenomenal 😋. During our stay, we had to flag down other staff to get service for basic things like refills and then our bill. The staff who did help us were great, but the server we got stuck with needs to go back for training on how to serve and pay attention to other guests rather than just one table who were probably his friends. Would be back for the food, but if assigned to that waiter again, we would ask to be moved and would prefer waiting longer due to his unprofessional behavior.

I was looking for a restaurant to take my girlfriend for her birthday and came across this one. The website doesn’t say if reservations are mandatory but I booked one just to be safe and I wanted the occasion to go perfect. Valet parking is available but if you prefer to park your own vehicle the parking garage is around the corner from the restaurant. Once we arrived it took a few minutes to get seated due to our early arrival and our table getting set up with decorations. Our waitress was friendly and energetic she explained the menu, asked if there were any allergies and told us about the popular items on the menu. The food came out smelling/looking delicious, cooked how we liked and it tasted very enjoyable. The atmosphere was upscale and relaxed also there is a dress code.

Flawless experience from beginning to end. We had our own private room and the service was prompt, friendly and respectful. My steak was a little undercooked but still delicious. All the sides and appetizers were great, and they have a good wine selection. The decor is a little older and could be updated but still a nice atmosphere

The service was impeccable! The food was amazing. Huge portions. The rib eye was so tender and delicious. The mashed potatoes are off the charts!! So is the creme brulee!

The food was orgasmic steak melt in your mouth, and the lobster mac & cheese was very gooey and delicious and the seared spinach was fantastic. Everything was good. Our waiter was very attentive and noticed we were celebrating our birthday and brought over their house vodka that is soaked with pineapples and he brought over dessert, cheesecake and a chocolate mousse and it was so good. It was my first time here and I definitely plan on coming back again. Hopefully I have the same waiter because he was awesome. His name was Dante. If you decide to go, please ask to sit in Donté section.

This place was absolutely beautiful. It looked like something right out of a movie. Deee, (yes with 3 E's) was our main server. Everyone there was so nice and the ambience was amazing. The food! Just look at our plates!

Flawless Sunday dinner — Buckhead Capital Grille delivered Date: Sunday, 10/12/2025 Party: 4 (myself, my girlfriend, my best friend, and his wife) From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in great hands. We were greeted by Charise, a knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming hostess who set the tone for the entire evening. She was beyond exceptional—warm, attentive, and proactive about the little details that make a celebration feel special. Drinks & Start: We began with waters, an iced tea (with syrup), and three Noble Paloma cocktails—I enjoyed mine so much I ordered a second. For starters, the table split pan-fried calamari (crispy, tender, and not at all greasy). We also had a silky lobster bisque and a crisp field greens salad that balanced the richer plates nicely. Mains & Sides: Seared Citrus-Glazed Salmon (best friend): beautifully seared outside, flaky inside, the citrus glaze was bright without overpowering the fish. Dry Aged Bone-In NY Strip (friend’s wife): deep steakhouse char, perfect temperature, and that concentrated dry-aged flavor you expect from Capital Grille. Wagyu & Lobster (girlfriend): indulgent and memorable—luxurious marbling with sweet, perfectly cooked lobster. Snake River Farms Gold Wagyu (me): melt-in-your-mouth richness and a spot-on sear. Worth every bite. Shareable sides were classic and excellent: sautéed spinach (garlicky and vibrant) and Sam’s mashed potatoes (buttery, smooth, and exactly what you want alongside steak). Service & Celebration: Charise asked if we were celebrating anything, and we mentioned our belated September birthdays. Toward the end of the meal she surprised us with a celebratory treat—thoughtful, festive, and the perfect finishing touch. That gesture, along with consistently attentive pacing and check-ins, elevated a great meal into a standout experience. Bottom line: This was Capital Grille at its best—polished hospitality, expertly prepared food, and a room that still feels special. Well worth every penny. A+++++++ We’ll be back, and we’ll be asking for Charise. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious food. Upscale with a dress code. Quite pricey but enjoyable for a very special occasion, like proposal or anniversary. Open bar, amazing desert choices, booths and tables, warm lighting, amazing view, clean bathrooms, free candy!
