Borough Market is a historic and bustling food market located under the railway lines near London Bridge. It has been a part of London's culinary scene since the 12th century and has experienced a recent revival, making it one of Europe's top foodie destinations. With its Victorian architecture and over 100 stalls, the market offers a wide variety of goods, including British-reared meat, artisanal baked goods, dairy products, fresh produce, charcuterie, cheeses, chocolates, and more.
Love Borough Market. Go before lunch to avoid it being too crowded and so you can really have a good look. So many fabulous stalls with fantastic food, it's hard to choose! Never disappointed.

What a place!!!! A wonderful place to eat and try so many flavors from all over the world. Queuing was a bit disappointing in dome shops but this is natural, some shops are amazing and attractive. But definitely need some more free spaces to sit and enjoy your meals.
Marietta H — Google review
I had the most amazing experience enjoying a huge variety of incredibly fresh food. The mushroom cheese risotto, chicken burger, Italian cakes, and cheese onion patty were all delicious. The vendors were mostly very welcoming and entertaining, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. This combines the last two sentences for

Loved it here, plenty of variety and very friendly people. Such a great place to stroll around and in a great location. We came here for breakfast one morning and then for lunch before returning home. I would have really liked to have spent more time wandering and purchasing more lovely goodies. I will be back soon.
Jane — Google review
I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded. There was a wide assortment of foods. An absolute haven for a foodie with lots of options for fast food, baked items, fruits, smoothies, and even meats and fish. I wish I had visited on a weekday when it would perhaps have been less crowded so I will at a later date.
Shev D — Google review
Ace experience!!! So many stalls, shops, vendors and restaurants. Lots of unique fresh food to buy and taste. Greatest ingredients available in London. Must-visit for any foodie. Also great if you love starlings
Kate N — Google review
Tried the Black Pig sandwich (the best one!) and it was absolutely delicious. The Mac & Cheese was good too, though not particularly special — plenty of cheese but a bit lacking in seasoning. For dessert, I had the Humble Crumble, which was very good overall, though I expected the crumble itself to be a bit better. The market itself is quite packed, so I’d avoid going with kids in buggies. That said, The Black Pig were fantastic — they made sure parents with children were served at the front, which was such a thoughtful touch. Wish more places did this!
Dino S — Google review
There is a lot of food on offer and it can be quite overwhelming but the vendors are friendly and offer tastes very happily. Great to chat to them about their produce - very definite passion comes through in the chats Unfortunately the market gets busy very quickly so can be a bit overwhelming so make sure you get there early. make sure to get there early as it gets very busy which can make it very unpleasant .

Columbia Road Flower Market is a vibrant and bustling market that takes place every Sunday in London. The street transforms into a floral paradise with stalls offering an array of bouquets, shrubs, pot plants, and herbs. While it can get crowded, arriving early allows for a leisurely stroll to admire the colorful displays. Beyond the flowers, visitors can explore nearby cafes, delis, galleries, and antique stores.
Lively flower market that takes place every Sunday on Columbia Road. Lots of options to choose from, and I’d say the prices are decent too. On the same road there are also lots of shops selling all sorts of things, from plant pots and ceramics, to vintage clothes, coffee shops and bakeries, books and antiques. All in all it’s a great way to spend a few hours if you are in the area.
Patricia S — Google review
Open every Sunday 0800-1500, Prices are good and the quality of the cut flowers is exceptional. We have bought flowers many times and they always last much longer than those that are shop bought. House plant prices are excellent, so if looking for a large or unusual house plant this is the place to come. Lots of places to stop for a coffee and do some people watching.
Nick — Google review
Columbia Road Flower Market is a lively, colourful street full of plants and flowers of every kind. Stalls are packed with fresh bunches and potted plants and the sellers shout their offers which gives it a fun atmosphere. It does get very crowded so it is better to go early if you can. Prices are reasonable for London, for example I saw hydrangeas at four for £25 and big houseplants starting at about £15. Even if you are not buying much it is enjoyable to walk along, look at the flowers and grab a coffee from one of the small cafés nearby. Pricey but it’s worth it
Jennifer — Google review
What a gem. This is such a cute, relaxed market. You should go early, around 10, after that, it's to crowded. You'll have a nice stroll along the stalls and don't forget the backstreet at the end. On the way back you can go shop in, shop out, there are many cute souvenirs to find.
Annemiek B — Google review
Because the weather has suddenly turned cold, there aren’t many types of flowers available, but many people are buying indoor potted plants that can be grown in winter. The market usually quiets down around 3 p.m., and since they start offering discounts then, if you arrive around 2 p.m., you can get a 10–20% discount for cash payments. After Halloween, things will get busy again with Christmas preparations. In fact, even when the weather is nice, it’s a great place to recommend to tourists who can’t buy fresh flowers, as there are plenty of food stalls nearby and a small coffee takeaway run by a man who once won first place in a barista competition—so it’s always lively with regular visitors. If you’re around Brick Lane or Shoreditch, I highly recommend visiting the Sunday Market, open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Louise L — Google review
A lovely and vibrant market, but it’s time for more awareness. Columbia Road Flower Market is such a charming place to visit. Full of colour, atmosphere and friendly energy. I love wandering through the stalls on a Sunday morning and seeing all the beautiful flowers and plants on display. However, as someone who cares deeply about biodiversity, I was quite disappointed to find that most of the sellers couldn’t tell me whether their plants were native or non-native species. This difference really matters, because many people buy plants hoping to support bees and butterflies, but if the species aren’t native, they often don’t actually help local wildlife. What also concerns me is that most of the plants seem to be treated with pesticides, and the vendors don’t share any information about this. After planting several flowers I bought here, I sadly found many dead bees and bumblebees in my garden the following weeks. That’s extremely worrying. It would be a wonderful step forward if some stalls offered pesticide-free, UK-grown native plants, or if sellers were a bit more informed and transparent about what they sell. This market has such great potential to not only bring joy, but also to truly support urban nature. Still, it remains a lovely experience overall. I just hope to see more ecological awareness blooming here in the future. 🌿🐝
Esmee P — Google review
The street bursts with colour, fragrance, and charm every Sunday. From armfuls of fresh blooms to unique plants and friendly traders shouting their best deals, it’s a London gem full of character. The nearby cafés and little independent shops add to the experience—perfect for a relaxed Sunday stroll with a coffee in hand. Go early to avoid the crowds, or late for the best bargains!
V H — Google review
The flower Matket was beautiful. If your looking for plans on a Sunday in London Columbia flower market is probably the best and most beautiful activity you can do. It is really crowded but really easy to walk through, seeing everyone with flowers in their hands makes everything special

Brick Lane Market, located in London, is a vibrant and diverse destination that combines the charm of a flea market with the allure of a food market. The market is situated around the Old Truman Brewery and offers an array of goods such as antique furniture, spices, saris, vintage clothing, and handmade crafts. Visitors can also indulge in international street food while exploring the bustling atmosphere.
This is what the other markets felt like. Vinyl is good. Clothes are good and varied. Jewellery feels like it was purchased online. But this is easily accessible on the tube with lots of food options.
Craig G — Google review
Some great stalls, gorgeous food and a really friendly vibe. Brick Lane is great, so much going on.
Paul — Google review
Had a fantastic time at the Brick Lane Food Festival! The food was absolutely delicious with so many incredible options to try. The people were warm and welcoming, adding to the fun vibe, and the atmosphere was electric — full of energy, laughter, and great music. A truly unforgettable experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and a lively day out in London.
Navie — Google review
If you like vintage for affordable prices, it's the place for you. Abd they have much more than just vintage. Out of all of London markets it definitely is my favorite one. Food and drinks are great! People are friendly! Overall it was a great experience going there with my friends as they loved it as much as I did! We will definitely be back!
Edouard G — Google review
I love Brick Lane, I want to live there and visit every shop, bar and cafe. It's so colourful and interesting, cool and vibrant.
Paul S — Google review
Love going to Brick Lane. So much diversity and such a chilled out atmosphere. The food stalls offer something for everyone, the vintage market is perfect to kill an hour and look for a bargain or 3. A couple of nice independent bars, too (not really a place to go looking for a pub crawl though!)

Portobello Road Market is a bustling weekly market in the charming neighborhood of Notting Hill, London. It offers a wide array of vintage goods, street eats, souvenirs, and more. The market gained popularity for its high-quality fresh breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, fish, and condiments. Visitors can explore rows of gems, vintage sunglasses, rare books and pre-loved wares along the street.
Portobello Road and its market is fun to experience. It is located in the charming residential neighborhood of Notting Hill. The road is interesting even if the market is not running. Interesting mix of touristy and local shops, eateries, and temporary booths/stalls. Highly recommended!
M — Google review
Visited Portobello Road Market in September 2025 for first time in my life and absolutely loved the atmosphere! The market is full of life, colours, and unique finds. I especially enjoyed browsing the small stalls with handmade and vintage jewellery — I found some truly beautiful and one-of-a-kind pieces. A must-visit spot in London if you enjoy local art, antiques, and something different from the usual shops.
Nicoletta T — Google review
The market is quite large and offers a wide variety of vintage items such as bags, cameras, tea sets, watches, and jewelry. It was extremely crowded on the weekend. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, it’s worth visiting to experience the lively local market atmosphere. The famous Notting Hill Bookshop is also nearby.
Jihee L — Google review
Great traditional English market. Here you can find antiques, vintage clothing, souvenir , furniture, books, handbags, handmade, gifts shops, food and coffee shop. I recommend you come early in the morning. Very nice and colourful market and worth a visit🤩

I have visited London so many times in my life and lived in London for 7 years but I'd actually only been here once before. This market is so cool, filled with art, excellent food, original products and so much more. Such a must visit for anyone visiting London.
Coralie P — Google review
Loved the vibe at Portobello Market! 💕 So many cute vintage shops, amazing street food, and colorful houses everywhere. Great place to wander around, take photos, and grab a coffee while browsing unique finds. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in Notting Hill!
Mousey N — Google review
Always a great place to visit whilst in London. Authentic and the vibes are always positive. I am looking forward to go back again and enjoy the environment in this neighborhood
Andrew K — Google review
Decent outdoor market with stalls and shops and and nice food options. Some stores and vendors do antiques and vintage clothing along with all sorts of hats, socks, and just an eclectic selection of items. Smaller number of stalls then I’ve seen before however still fun to browse. Finding a toilet seemed impossible! Remember coming here in my childhood and it was gritty then however now seemed a little worse.

Maltby Street Market is a vibrant outdoor weekend market located beneath 19th-century railway arches in the trendy Bermondsey area. It's a hidden gem known for its gourmet street food, fresh produce, and artisan products. The market offers a diverse range of culinary delights, from Mozambique burgers to top-notch gin. With only a handful of food vendors and wholesalers, it's like the refined younger sister of Borough Market.
Small street market, but filled with variety of food options. Definitely a hidden gem and less crowded than Borough Market. Highly recommend!! If you are heading from London Bridge underground, do route pass Bermondsey Street - for a more pleasant walk to Maltby Street Market.
Blogger R — Google review
Cute street in a residential area with a few food stalls. The most notable food stall is the Madagascarian inspired one where we tried the pumpkin roti, highly recommended. We also tried dome cronut things which were good. Some of the shops offer seating to eat your food and there are free searing area by the entrance. I prefer this market for a quick lunch in the area, it’s only a short walk from Borough market and no tourists.
Linda T — Google review
Cute street food market. Easy walk from Bermondsey station. A variety of food stalls and little bars along one side to eat your food, a few extra tables just outside. Excellent coffee, great beers, very good crullers. I would come again for sure.
Tanya P — Google review
Maltby Market is a beautiful market, a little bit small, but the food is absolutely fantastic. I loved the Cuban sandwich and the crème brûlée cruller, I liked the cruller so much, I took a box of four home. There’s also a shop in the market where you can buy beautiful homeware, like cups, plates, and other things to decorate your house. And you can get the best coffee in London at Watch House right there. Highly recommended.

Excellent food market with many delicious choices. Ethiopian chicken with injera was tasty. Duck chips with cheese was a hit with my son. Good meal choices for everyone at around £10-13 each.
Chris G — Google review
Borough market can be too busy crowded and not really the best place to sit and eat. Maltby street has a real community feel to it where everyone is looking to help each other out and not compete with one another. Worth visiting for the food and the bars
Simon J — Google review
Maltby Street Market is a great little street with various mobile food vendors. More relaxed than Borough Market and still great food. Pro tip: Pick up an amazing cheese toastie and chill in the wine bar. Then hit the vegan dessert stand. Amazing desserts that you would never guess are vegan!

Old Spitalfields Market is a vibrant Victorian-era market hall in London, offering a diverse range of food items, clothing, art, and crafts. Whether you visit on the bustling weekends or during the quieter weekdays, you can enjoy browsing through an eclectic mix of shops. From trendy local designer stores to unique stalls featuring international foods and handmade goods, there's something for everyone.
It's a vibe, definitely. The weekend is going to be buzzing. There's plenty to see. Food to eat. It's a tourist trap, I'm a trendy trap. But not in a bad way. You're going to enjoy the experience, and you might just come across that item you always wanted. It in all its a vibrant and colourful place to vist in London.
Steven S — Google review
Amazing selection of delicious food and fun shops in the Old Spitalfields Market. It was almost overwhelming as everything looked amazing. Wish we would have allocated more time to explore as there were some amazing stalls here.
Alyssa B — Google review
This is also a very old market, but these days it feels less like a place full of variety and things you’d want to buy, and more like stalls simply filling space. I’m sorry to say it, but my first thought is often, will this actually sell? How many of these could they sell in a day? Why do they think such items would work, when it only makes running a small business even harder? Of course, each vendor must have pride in their business, but it still feels rather unfortunate.
Louise L — Google review
If you’re looking for a vibrant slice of London life, Old Spitalfields Market is absolutely worth a visit. From the moment you step inside the covered hall in East London you’ll be greeted by a lively, easy-going atmosphere where anything goes: wandering from food stalls to fashion stands, soaking in the buzzing energy of it all. One of the first things you’ll notice is the sheer diversity of foods on display. Whether it’s authentic soup-dumplings, Neapolitan pizza, vegan Ethiopian stews or New-York style burgers, the range is huge and delicious. You’ll find vendors showing creative flair and real flavour, making it easy to snack, graze or sit-down for a relaxed meal. On the fashion side, the market absolutely shines: stalls by independent designers, vintage gems, bold street-wear finds and accessories galore. It’s the kind of place where you might pick up something unique, something you’ll want to wear tomorrow. And because the vibe is so relaxed, you won’t feel rushed—browse at your own pace, stop for a coffee, people-watch. Overall, Old Spitalfields Market offers a perfect blend of delicious international food, strong fashion credentials and an easy-going, friendly environment. It’s a spot that works for a casual lunch, a shopping wander or simply a few hours of good-time discovery in London.
Paul A — Google review
Love the hustle and bustle of this place. Be wary of some of the items you buy on the stalls.... For example the earrings from jewellery stands tend to have a really short shaft and can make ears sore/infected. Some items are way cheaper on Amazon! The food stalls of which there are plenty are really good and over time I can't wait to try them all! This time we went to Brother Marcus and Humble Crumble. Both recommended. 👌🏻 Close to Liverpool St Station.... Only a few mins walk and well worth a visit! Really great atmosphere and lots to look at!
Anne S — Google review
Worth a visit and allow time to explore the various stalls. Maybe eat breakfast, lunch, dinner at one of the very good restaurants. Or coffee and pastry to have a break and people watch.
Leonard B — Google review
I would say, if you're tired of Camden block on the market, this is a good place to come to as well as coffin garden markets. It's quite open, dared easily to navigate large variety of stalls and food places to go eat
Martin S — Google review
Very cool market! Lots of little shops, eats and treats! Things tend to start closing up around 5 on weekdays. Seems to be best to visit morning to early afternoon.

Visitors can explore unique gifts from local designers and small businesses while enjoying street food and mulled wine.
Greenwich is a beautiful place, this is what I think of when you say London. You can imagine Jane Austen walking through the streets. The Greenwich Market was so much fun. So many food choices, wonderful shops and amazing booths.

Fantastic market in the heart of the old town of Greenwhich. A great variety of food and good for Christmas gifts and trinkets. There is a nice art and poster shop as well. Very good coffee on offer and don’t miss the old school pie and eel shop just as you enter or exit the market. The prices were reasonable as well.

Love this market. Small and manageable. Yet with loads of fun stands. There's a great coffee place as well and the Barista plays amazing music. Really nice vibes!

One of the best places around London to spend your Sunday. It can get very busy over the weekend but it’s worth to go. Many places with coffee, food and other things. Amazing views, great park and many more things. I would go there every week if I could.

Visited on a Friday—super easy to get in, with entry from all directions. Plenty of food options, even for vegetarians (corn dogs were a nice surprise!). The antiques are beautiful but pricey, so probably more of a one-time browse than a regular stop. Pho Street, the Vietnamese shop, was a standout—really impressive selection and great vibe. Also spotted some unique copper shoes and loads of other interesting finds.

We went on Thursday evening and we really liked the chill atmosphere and all the food options. We got donuts from two different places and some juice. I loved how there was seating!

Greenwich Market is a vibrant and lively place full of character, perfect for wandering on a weekend. It offers a great mix of street food from around the world, handmade crafts, vintage finds, art, and unique gifts. The atmosphere is energetic yet cozy, with friendly vendors and live music often playing nearby. It’s also close to other Greenwich highlights like the park and Cutty Sark, making it an ideal stop during a day out. A fun and colorful market with something for everyone.

Went to the Greenwich market 30.10.25 as there was a Halloween 🎃 event going on, had vintage cars with Halloween figures in the vehicles, motorcycles 🏍️ stalls and music 🎶 even the people were dressed up in Halloween costumes. It was the first time we have been to one of these events and it turned out good.

Camden Market is a vibrant and diverse market in London that draws in over a quarter of a million visitors weekly. It encompasses several interconnected indoor and outdoor markets, offering an extensive range of products from fashion and homeware to food and alcohol. The market reflects the unconventional subcultures of Camden with stalls catering to alternative fashion styles like cybergoth, steampunk, and grunge.
Absolutely loved my first visit here. So much to see and do. The shops on offer are well stocked and so friendly. The food offerings are mouth watering. I thought it was all rather well priced and more importantly clean and safe. If you haven't been make a plan. Simply a must visit destination.

Camden Market is one of the most vibrant and lively places to visit in London! You’ll find an incredible variety of shops selling everything from souvenirs to clothing, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable if you know how to bargain. I found keychains and magnets at a great deal — around 12 for £10 — which is much cheaper than most other tourist spots. If you’re into fashion, this place won’t disappoint. There are stalls offering trendy jackets, accessories, and unique handmade items that you probably won’t find anywhere else. The highlight, though, has to be the Camden Lock Food Market. It’s absolutely fabulous! You can try mouthwatering street food from around the world — everything from Asian, Mexican, and Italian to vegan delicacies — all at reasonable prices. The vibrant ambience, the smell of freshly cooked food, and the buzzing crowd make the whole experience unforgettable. And dont forget the boat life where you will see boat to go from ground floor to first floor which is quite a unique experience. One of the most picturesque spots here is the area with colourful umbrellas hanging overhead — perfect for photos! The entire market has an artsy, bohemian vibe that makes it a wonderful place to spend a relaxed day wandering around, shopping, eating, and just soaking in the energy. Whether you’re with friends, family, or your partner, Camden Market is definitely one of the best places to spend your day and experience the real charm of London

We did a food tour here via secret food tours over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was so much fun! Definitely recommend! So many things to see in Camden market and so many delicious restaurants! This would be a great place to get souvenirs to bring back for friends and family as well. Come hungry so you can try a bunch of different food vendors!
Julia — Google review
It's a beautiful market where you can find everything. Whether you take the main road or walk along the canal from King's Cross, the place is beautiful. The food is diverse, and the venues are diverse. It has a festive atmosphere with small vendors selling goods and venues like the cyborg venue.

Camden Market in London is a very lively and crowded place, full of energy, music, and delicious street food from all around the world. It can be difficult to find a place to sit, so it’s a good idea to grab your food and sit on the stairs or by the canal to enjoy the view. I tried the potato shop there, and it was super tasty and fresh. I also had strawberries with chocolate from another stand—so delicious! Even though it’s busy, the atmosphere is amazing and full of life. A great spot to experience London’s unique culture and food scene.
Shatha A — Google review
I went to Camden Market with my family. There’s an incredible variety of food from all over the world. We each grabbed something different, and everything was delicious. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend hours just trying different foods. One thing to note: it does get very crowded, especially during peak hours. But honestly, that just adds to the energy of the place. It’s buzzing with people from everywhere, and there’s always something happening around you. We also stopped by the vintage store next to the market, which had a great selection of retro clothes and unique pieces. It was a nice change of pace from the usual high street shopping. If you’re in London and looking for a fun, energetic place with great food and cool shops, Camden Market is a must-visit — just be ready for the crowds!
Kuman — Google review
We love this market, it's a must to visit when in London. The lock with the houseboats, the numerous food stalls of every nation and tunnels and shops selling all kinds of clothes and cultural merchandise for sale. As well the great music and store fronts.
Maxine B — Google review
A vibrant market, lots of shops that sell leather bags, wallets, blouses, hats, vintage clothing, paintings, spices, etc, lots of food choices, wraps, hamburgers, fries, soups, sandwiches, salads, stirfrys etc for lunch and dinner and treats like ice cream, fancy coffees, I enjoyed the environment with old brick buildings, nice planter displays, the many umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, vintage farm style decor and art to explore. Lots of people here so if you don’t like crowds this isn’t the place for you. If you want to use the washroom it will cost you money usually around one pound.

Alfies Antique Market is a sprawling indoor market in London, offering a diverse range of antique, vintage, and retro stalls. It's renowned for its carefully curated selection of one-of-a-kind treasures, attracting not only avid collectors but also British Vogue and celebrities. With over 60 different stalls and traders, the market boasts an impressive array of artifacts and objet d'art.
A really great antique market! There’s so many things you won’t be able to see in the United states. All the stall owners were very friendly and educational. We really liked Michael French artwork! We talked to him for a bit and he was amazing! All the workers were so kind and friendly! Definitely recommend to shop here and see all the amazing historical pieces!
Jam S — Google review
Huge mall full of individual antique stores. As always with these places, the stall owners are pretty snotty, unapproachable and dusty old people that make the experience of looking around less enjoyable than you might hope. It’s seemingly an issue with the whole industry but you feel it when walking round this cavernous building replete with expensive bric a brac. The best thing you can do, is to take some brief relief in the rooftop cafe which is probably the only place you’ll find a bargain price in the whole market.
Leaburn — Google review
It is in fact an amazing space. It has anything you can imagine. Tons of pieces with lots of character! Overall I loved it. I do agree with others that some stall owners don’t have the best attitude and tarnish the whole experience. We went to a stall on the ground floor, near the back on the left side, where there was a lady. When my boyfriend asked about the price of the chair she was sitting on, her response was: Oh, you can’t afford that. I’m sorry, but that is one of the most hideous things you can say to a costumer. It’s extremely tacky. I immediately walked away because I had no intention to buy anything from her or interact with her anymore. But if you run into a nice owner, then the experience is very very interesting.
Mariana V — Google review
Alfie’s Antique Market is a great place to explore, with several floors of different stalls selling all kinds of decorative and antique pieces. It’s definitely worth visiting if you’re shopping for yourself or your own collection. Prices can be on the higher side for dealers, though a few vendors were open to bartering while others weren’t. It would be helpful if the stalls listed their opening times instead of just phone numbers, since a few we wanted to see were closed for the day. Overall, a fun and interesting spot for personal treasure hunting.
Erik — Google review
Great place for inspo. The guy who runs the Christmas deco shop on the ground floor is super friendly!
Binnie — Google review
Overall nice experience but be mindful of certain stalls. My boyfriend and I visited here today, hoping to find a Chinese-style plate as a Christmas gift for his mum. Unfortunately, I can’t say it was an entirely pleasant experience. The shopping experience on the ground floor was lovely. Beth Adams gave us a warm welcome at her charming little shop and shared the fascinating stories behind her items. However, things took a sour turn on the first floor. We spotted a Chinese plate at a stall located next to a lighting shop. If I’m not mistaken, the stall’s name includes “Yang,” and its number might be FO16. We asked the gentleman nearby for more details. He claimed it was from the Qing Dynasty and told us the stall owner was away. He kindly offered to call her, which we appreciated. From the call, we learned that the plate was from the 18th century and priced at £120. The plate was in a display case, so we couldn’t examine it closely. The gentleman offered to take it out, but we didn’t let him do so at the beginning as I had the doubt and didn’t want to waste his time. But later on we kindly asked him to take it out cause my boyfriend really liked it, taking it out would allow us to inspect the bottom, which is crucial for assessing its value especially when there was no further information from the owner. However, he seemed overly keen to seal the sale. After viewing the underside shortly, we grew more doubtful of its authenticity and decided not to buy it. His response? “Oh, so you’re not buying it?” Sounds like we have to buy it because he took it out. A £120 plate isn’t a five-quid trinket, it’s not something I’d buy after just a glance behind a glass case and even grew more doubts after checking it. As we were leaving, he insisted on ringing the stallholder again, despite us having no further questions. The gentleman then asked, “Are you Chinese?” and told me to speak to the stallholder in Mandarin. I was completely taken aback. When she heard I was Chinese, her attitude turned hostile, saying, “I’m not here to educate you about the item.” As a Chinese person, I feel obliged to warn others interested in Chinese porcelain to tread carefully. Many antique plates are replicas, so unless you’re an expert able to assess value from behind a glass case, steer clear of stallholders unwilling to share essential information especially all the other shop owners we met today were literally expecting us to ask something. But of course I would never say it’s 100% replica, I’m not a pro. But thanks to Moe from the N&S Watches, which is absolutely a gem in the market. He is so kind with patience, I picked up a lovely antique watch in his shop before leaving, at least I didn’t leave feeling frustrated!

We went for the baked potatoes at the rooftop cafe which were amazing, highly recommend. Did not realize what we were in for on our ascent to the cafe, just an amazing treasure trove of old and new things. If you are after something unique or just a delicious baked potato, recommend it highly.

Originally a hub for fruit and vegetables, it now offers a diverse range of goods including clothing, jewelry, home items, art, and gourmet products. The market hosts various events such as the Antiques Market on Thursdays and the Vinyl Market for music enthusiasts.
Such a great collection of artisans and local makers welling really unique products. It was much bigger than I anticipated and I wish I would have left myself more time to explore. Found some really cool screen printed shifts here.

Great for unique arts & crafts which make original gifts sold by the artisan vendors themselves. Well laid out, not too busy, and easy to navigate for browsing. Artisans seem happy to negotiate esp when buying multiple items. Plenty of photo opportunities and eateries too so you can make a day of it. Short walking distance from Liverpool St Station.

A very nice covered market within easy walking distance of Liverpool Street station. There is a huge variety of food stalls and the ones we tried served very nice food at a decent price. For food, I would rather come here than Borough Market. There are also many stalls selling other goods - these didn't seem such good value but we didn't actually buy anything.

From curry to paella, burgers to crepes, and cocktails to wood-fired pizza from Dough Bros, this market showcases the best flavors London has to offer. Situated in Brixton Station Road, it provides a lively atmosphere with an international flair in its cuisine and decorations.
The market offers many kinds of cuisine, from Thai, passing through different indian fast food styles and up to local fast food and delicacies. I strongly recommend to come and take the risk to try something unusual, vegan, vegetarian or anything you'd never try. Indian food is awesome by the way, strongly recommend samoussa chat and chai tea.

A food market not very big, but with a fairly varied offer. Crowded, at almost all the stands. I tried something from "The Curry Shack" and "Pabellon" but I was not impressed by the taste. There are much better food markets in London.

We were on a tour and could smell this place, so at the end of the tour, we came to try it out. There were very many different options that were unique, but we settled on the stuffed Turkish flat bread. My grandson and I both thought it was great. All the food was prepared in front of you and you could see the pride they took in their product. We will be back in a week and will sample more options.

Petticoat Lane Market, located in Spitalfields, has a rich history dating back to the 17th century. Originally known for fabrics and cheap goods, it has evolved into a bustling market offering discount high-street fashions and shoes. The market was influenced by immigrant settlers such as Huguenot master weavers and Jewish immigrants, shaping its fashion and clothing offerings today.
Pleasantly surprised. This is a flea market, do don't get your hopes up for quality items. Instead, I got honest friendly patrons, honest prices for the simple basics and felt very safe on a warm sunny Sunday stroll. Very convenient to get to as well.
Sufyaan K — Google review
Great market with great prices. Market is clean and organized. Variety of items to select from. They are not all used items, you can also get some new items at a very good price. I highly recommend it especially for tourists. The market is always packed so I recommend you go early (9am on Saturday) to get good deals.
Black C — Google review
Forget the Piccadilly Circus souvenir shops. Visit the East End on a Sunday morning and taste the real London. Shop for clothing bargains, lux to low end, London Ts and sweatshirts half the price of the West End shops. Stray into the local kebab houses and coffee shops. You can have a great day out for £20 and who knows what treasures you might go home with!
Cynthia C — Google review
Honestly, don’t even bother with Petticoat Lane Market. I know it’s meant to be one of the oldest street markets in London, and trust me, it shows in all the worst ways. There’s zero sense of organisation or management. It’s messy, loud, chaotic, and honestly just not a nice place to be. The stalls mostly sell cheap, low-quality stuff like fake designer bits or mass-produced garments you’d find in the bargain bin of a dodgy shop. It also doesn’t feel very safe. No one seems to be keeping an eye on anything, and it definitely feels like the kind of place where theft is easy and common. Just not the vibe. I really don’t see the point of this market continuing when you’re a short walk away from Spitalfields, which has amazing food and proper vibes, or Brick Lane for way better vintage and fashion options. Petticoat Lane feels stuck in the past, and not in a good way.
Em W — Google review
It’s definitely not the nicest market in terms of environment (lots of rubbish and sketchy people) but it’s an absolute bargain for mass produced clothes. Lots of ratty brands like asos, shein or boohoo but there’s a few stalls selling good clothes like french connection, ted baker, charles tyrwhitt, and vintage leather jackets for £5!!!! I would say these clothes are either excess stock, factory samples, or rejected clothes from factories- not fake.
Mag — Google review
Petticoat Lane Market is a great place for shopping! You can find clothes, shoes, and accessories at very good prices. The market is busy, fun, and full of energy. There are many different stalls, and it's a great place to look for bargains. It’s best to go on a Sunday when more stalls are open. If you like street shopping and good deals, you’ll enjoy it!

Victoria Park Market is a vibrant and diverse Sunday food market located in the heart of trendy Hackney. In addition to food shopping, visitors can indulge in ready-made meals from various vendors offering everything from hand-made dumplings to cheesy savory crepes. I love this park! It’s so beautiful and alive all the time. It’s London’s oldest public park (opened in 1845) and holds “Green flag” and “Green heritage “ awards. It opens at 7am and closes at dusk, 365 days a year and receives over 9 million visitors each year. A must see!

A endless range of different foods from around the world. Pros: - So many options. From bakers to chefs. - Great natural views at park with a lake and fountain. - Toilets available including a small coffee shop. - Quality food no matter what market stall you go to. Cons: - Quite expensive for local people. Prices start from £10 all the way to £30 per meal or dessert. Definitely a treat from time to time, not a regular thing unless you have deep pockets. - Busy paths which can make it hard to navigate especially with push chairs or wheelchairs users, kids should stay close to their parents or guardian. - Can be hard to find seats but lots of green space if don't mind sitting on the floor. Worth a visit however only comes once a week.

Victoria Park and the Sunday Market is a great way to start your day! Everything from hot coffee, breads, sweet treats, organic fruit & vegetables, the BEST honey I’ve ever tasted, fresh seafood and there’s even a stall full of snacks for your furry friend! I have tried a few of the hot food trucks as well, decent food but can be quite expensive, especially if you want to try a few different things. Well worth a visit even if it’s just to have a browse and a nice walk.

We went here as have heard about but never been even though we live around the corner. There isn’t much to see to be honest but they did have a variety of different food stalls. We got Nepalese dumplings and Afghan food which was delicious. The coffee from one of the coffee vans was also one of the best coffees I’ve had. We got a natural orange wine (pretty pricey but good to try something new). We also tried macarons but they weren’t so good. Overall I would recommend as there is something for everyone.

Victoria Park Market is a great! You can find a variety of food products and beverages. It's great to see an interest in smaller brands and manufacturers. I also like the fact, that it's not big(size wise), as its not disturbing people who wants to enjoy walking in the park. The rubbish is monitored well as well. If you are looking for a simple pleasures , organic food, nice way to spend time outdoor on Sunday and support small businesses, it's a great place to be!

Fantastic area with lots of food outlets. The Market stalls have a wonderful range of products . We particularly liked the brass handmade Kaleidescope stall with very unique items. Also the stall selling old cameras at very reasonable prices. The market has something for everyone at very reasonable prices Covent Garden is easily accessible via tube. Nearby is Lincoln inn fields. Sir John Soane museum. Hunterian museum. The Royal Opera House are all worth a visit. London transport museum is also in the corner of Covent gardens by the undercover market stalls.

It was anly place when I arrived in this neighborhood that I felt like I was in England. Until then, central London hadn't impressed me; it didn't have that London vibe or style. But when I got here, it won me over. I admired the streets with their houses all the way from here to Chelsea.

Notting Hill is postcard-pretty and full of charm pastel houses, leafy streets, and a relaxed West London vibe 🏘️🌸. The Portobello Road Market is the main attraction, with vintage stalls, antiques, and street food that’s fun but touristy 🎩🥙. It’s busy on weekends, so weekdays are better if you want to wander without the crowds 🚶.

Leadenhall Market is a historical Victorian indoor marketplace located on Gracechurch Street. The market offers a unique blend of traditional and modern shops, restaurants, and bars within its grand architecture and cobblestone pavement dating back to 1881. It has been featured in popular movies such as Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Visitors can explore authentic Victorian splendor while shopping for apparel, accessories, or enjoying events, concerts, talks, and installations.
Right in the centre of London’s financial district, Leadenhall Market is such a charming spot. The colourful roof and historic design make it feel really special, and there’s a great variety of places to grab lunch or enjoy a drink after work. It can get busy at peak times, but that adds to the lively London atmosphere.♥️🥂 Leadenhall Market is a popular filming location in London. Some famous films that used it include Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Love Aaj Kal. The official Leadenhall Market site mentions its appearances in many cinematic works. Just an amazing place✨🥂

It wasn’t as big as I expected, but I loved sitting outdoors and feeling the rhythm of local life. It was interesting to see office workers in suits enjoying a beer in the middle of the day. I heard it used to be a market in the past, and I found it fascinating that such a place exists right in the heart of a commercial city
Bliss S — Google review
Leadenhall Market is such a beautiful spot — the architecture is absolutely stunning with its ornate glass roof and detailed Victorian design. It’s a great place to wander around, grab a bite, or shop, with plenty of options ranging from cafés to boutiques. It can get a bit busy during lunch hours, but that just adds to the lively atmosphere. Perfect blend of history and charm!

Went here because it was in a Harry Potter movie and to admire the amazing architecture. It's one of the oldest markets in London dating from the 14th century. We went on a Saturday, but if you're there for the shops, they're open during the work week. Even then, there were still a lot of people there. We didn't stay long, mainly just took some photos and left.

Another historical masterpiece by esteemed architect Horace Jones (of Smithfield and Tower Bridge fame). Got a spruce up in the early 90's and is a truly unique covered market in the middle of the old City of London. Worth a 5 min walk through if in London, or hang around for a pint of beer if you have some more time
Imogen W — Google review
Cute restaurants, mulled wine, and shopping! Beautifully decorated for the holidays we visited last Thanksgiving! Definitely recommend checking out this area. It’s easy to get to by foot when walking around London.
Julia — Google review
I visited this as part of a Haunted London tour and while it was very delightfully creepy after hours, the beautiful shops along the arcade and the vibrant green and red decor made it evident that this was a place meant for the hustle and bustle of people and the busy charm of peak hour London. I'd love to come back for the Christmas markets! Nevertheless, the empty arcade after hours made it easier to appreciate the intricate architecture, and the stories told by our guide, - of eccentric lanes that served as locations for Harry Potter shoots or old, historic shop-owners that inspired Dickensian characters, - really made the place come alive.
Priyanjana M — Google review
So beautifully maintained, the colours of the painted buildings and structures are stunning, a vision of the old London and a stark contrast with the modern & futuristic skyscrapers surrounding this area.

Seven Dials Market is a trendy multi-level food court located in the West End of London. It is housed in the historic 19th Century Thomas Neals Warehouse and features a diverse range of fast food eateries, including Mexican, Italian, Chinese cuisine, and more. The market hosts 25 independent food retailers divided into two areas: Banana Warehouse offers a colorful range of street food restaurants while Cucumber Alley features specialist London producers.
We found this place by accident and fell in love. It’s cool and quirky and also massive inside. There’s photo booths, a piano, a bookshop/seating area - it really is amazing. The section of food stalls with varied cuisine from around the globe was a real highlight for us. We didn’t get a chance to try a lot as we’d just eaten but we did try a cookie (I had the matcha) and it was so nice. We’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something a bit different - it’s the perfect hang out and would even make a great date day/night or family trip.

Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, Seven Dials Market is a buzzing food hall that brings together some of London’s most exciting culinary talent. One of the undeniable stars of Seven Dials Market is Bad Boy Pizza Society, serving up classic New York-style slices that are amazing!. Once you try it, other pizzas just won’t measure up. It’s seriously that good! Their signature 22" pies are a feast for the eyes and stomach, crispy, cheesy, and just the right amount of greasy to make you feel like you're on the streets of New York.
Kristen — Google review
I always like the Buzzy atmosphere in this place. We’ve been through a few times before, sometimes just to grab a beer and hang out other times to grab some food. One of the most recent trip I went into Bleeker Street Burger and all I can say is WOW!! My initial reaction when the burger arrived wasn’t positive. It looked decidedly undone and a bit leaky, but that all changed when I took a first bite. Tasty, succulent and full of flavour. This was how a burger should be and at sensible prices especially given the location. I’d almost consider going back up to London just for the burger in a couple of beers. For those that don’t like med-rare burgers,(which is how I asked for it), they do give you the option when you order to have it well done and cooked through. Helpful staff, clean open kitchens, and great choice. I don’t know what else you can ask for.

Absolutely fantastic food hall. So many choices and great quality throughout. We had the chicken dumplings and also the Classic hot dog and chilli dirty fries. All were brillisnt and worth every penny. Absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back soon.

I had a great experience here whilst I’ve been in London. It’s been my second time visiting, and on both occasions I have been throughly impressed. I ordered from one of the numerous stalls on offer, Jollof Mama. The Chicken suya I chose was a lovely plate of food. It was also my first ever tasting of plantain. I thought it tasted really nice personally speaking. I’d give the other stalls a go though, because I am not so certain that specific stall is open anymore. But there is a vast array of other options to choose from. Overall the venue itself is built for purpose. And can hold dozens at a time. The drinks are good and the food itself is worth a try. If you are ever in the area or happen to stumble upon this place by accident, pop in and give it a go. It can get busy depending on what time and day you decide to come, so I would keep an open mind about that.

Leather Lane Market is a vibrant weekday street market located in the Farringdon area of London. It's popular among local workers seeking diverse lunch options beyond typical chain restaurants. Best street food market in London! Great choice of different cuisines, affordable prices (about £7-11) and large portions.

This is one of Londons hidden street food markets. Lots of stalls selling many international foods and snacks. There are plenty of opportunities to taste and try the different flavours, and most meals are at a reasonable price.
Dave P — Google review
Leather Lane Market near Farringdon Station is one of those hidden gems in central London that bursts to life during lunchtime. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a fantastic mix of global street food that makes every visit feel like a mini culinary adventure. Among the many stalls, I’ve often gravitated toward the Ethiopian vendor — their 'beef combo' is rich in flavour, beautifully spiced, and consistently delicious. However, I’ve noticed on a few occasions that the food wasn’t served hot enough. While the taste never disappoints, the temperature should match the quality — especially for meat-based dishes. That said, the market remains a go-to spot for a quick, satisfying lunch with character. Just a little more attention to serving temperature would make the experience flawless.

Definitely a go to place for lunch if you’re close. The food is fresh with a lot of variety to choose from. I had the Japanese chicken with teriyaki sauce and also the Italian pasta stall which was not that nice. Updated review - 13th March; pictures to go with the market. This day didn’t have all the stalls there but it gives you a good idea on the amount of food there is and different varieties.

Many delicious and reasonably priced lunch options found in this market! It's a shame I was able to try food from only 4 shops here before flying out...

So many food stalls and many halal options of different cuisines. You could try katsu curry with rice so close to jollof rice with jerk chicken. I tried Dorothy’s Deli and portion size was okay - could’ve had an extra plantain piece or more jerk chicken and rice but it tasted phenomenal. One of the best jollofs I’ve tried of my very few. 12.50 for the following meal.

Berwick Street Market, one of London's oldest markets dating back to 1778, is a beloved food destination and an integral part of Soho's culture. Despite facing threats in 2016, it has persevered as a vibrant foodie hub with diverse offerings. The market features traditional stalls selling foods and fashions alongside independent shops and pubs.
Berwick Street Market has to be the best place in London to eat! Go all round the globe in 100 metres. All the food stalls are excellent; Jerusalem Falafels, Beefy's Burgers, Afghanistan Delights, Miso, Greek2Go Kebabs and Burgers. Pitstop (opposite the Blue Post pub) is my personal favourite. And Soho Dairy do the best ever coffee £2 a cup and artisan cheese for afters! BSM has become a destination place for lunchtime diners!

It's a big food hall from food around the world mostly manned by immigrants like Indians. Staff are very nice. Lunch on Sunday was not particularly busy at all. BAO buns were good, spring rolls better, the samosa chat easy good and well priced, the tacos from the Mexican spot good, pizza good, but the french duck wrap was not very good and def needed more sauce. All of it is generally expensive for quality.
Neha P — Google review
The food at Mercato Metropolitano is definitely tasty , as you’d expect from good street food. However, I found the prices quite high considering it’s a street food market. You end up paying almost the same as you would in a regular restaurant, but without the comfort ,it’s noisier, colder, and much more hectic. I tried the mixed grill for £18.50, which included 4 ribs, 5 chicken wings, and some chips. It was good, but honestly a bit expensive for what you get. My friend had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, also £18, and while it was delicious, again it felt more like restaurant pricing. Overall, the food is delicious, but both the food and drinks are on the pricey side. It’s a fun experience and worth trying once, but to spend money and be prepared to leave smelling like food!

Vinegar Yard is a vibrant outdoor venue in London that offers a variety of experiences for visitors. It features food vendors, bars serving local beer, art installations, and boutiques. The venue opened in spring 2019 and has quickly become popular among locals. Located near the Shard, it boasts a spacious terrace with stunning views of the iconic building. Visitors can enjoy Indian-inspired burgers from Baba Gs and explore the flea market that pops up on weekends.
Vinegar Yard hosted our annual company summer party again this year for ~700 people and we had a fantastic time. The venue is well located, with great city views and atmosphere. There are plenty of food and drink options, catering for a range of dietary requirements. Micol was instrumental in ensuring the event ran smoothly and helped us to customise the decorations and music playlist in addition to organising a raffle, photo booth, and silent disco - all of which were well received by guests. I would highly recommend the venue for either an evening visit or private hire, and want to thank all the friendly and helpful staff who contributed to our evening.

Vinegar Yard: Lively Atmosphere, Mediocre Food Vinegar Yard near London Bridge offers a vibrant and bustling atmosphere that's perfect for a casual night out. The outdoor setting, with its string lights and eclectic decor, creates a unique and inviting ambiance. However, the food left a bit to be desired. While there are plenty of options to choose from, the quality of the dishes seemed inconsistent. Some were enjoyable, but others fell short. If you're looking for a lively spot with good drinks, Vinegar Yard might be worth a visit, but don't expect a culinary masterpiece.

We did not had a reservation, but that was not an issue, although booking a table might be a good idea. Overall a good place to eat and drink

What a great place! It’s situated next to London Bridge station, closest to the exit by platform 13. It has street food, a bar and sometimes craft stalls selling clothing and wind chimes and the like. Best is the roof terrace outdoor seating with a great view of the shard. Good place for a few cheeky after work drinks before getting the train home!

Loved the place! Great food too! I’ve never tried mac n cheese croquetas from Nanny Bill’s and I loved it 😍 One of the best I’ve ever tried. I would also recommend the Slow cooked #beef brisket with amazing mustard mayo.

Camden Lock Market is a must-visit in London, known for its transformation from a local food and vegetable market to the city's top gourmet food market. The market offers high-quality fresh breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, fish, olives, nuts and more. It has gained immense popularity but can be crowded; visiting on weekdays before lunch is recommended to avoid the masses.
My daughter found this market while searching on her phone during our London visit and I was so happy she did, it was so fun, and so interesting, and delicious! Finding good food in London is easy, but this area was our favorite of all because of the endless possibilities. There are tons of little shops too in addition to the food places. Bars, people everywhere (but not overly crowded), the area has great energy and a very cool vibe. Definitely a little alternative, but not too much to be uncomfortable. Accessibility wasn’t great, we took an uber there and back to our hotel, I don’t think there was a convenient underground station, but I could be misinformed on this detail. Definitely recommend checking the area out!

One of the best places to go in London, and now they’ve pedestrianised the streets a bit it’s even better. A stroll along this lovely part of town lightens the soul and makes you feel proud to be living in this beautiful city. I always suggest Camden as a place to go and will always swear by it. The best diversity in pubs bar none. From the amazing Hawley Arms, to the Elephant Head, to the Dublin Castle, there’s something for everyone. If you’re bored of Camden, you’re bored of life!

This is a great place to come and browse around. There is an abundance of crafts, clothing, jewellery, bags, badges, glassware, footwear, vintage, paintings and trinkets etc to see all in one place, but above all amazing street food from all over the world! Walk around for hours and take it all in as well as the scenery or just sit by the water and watch the world go by! You won't regret visiting as there really is so much to see and if you're looking for something unique, this is the place to find it! I didn't take many photos this time, as I was too busy looking at everything around me! A extremely interesting place to visit!

This place is still going strong as it way in the 70s, or has a great ambience and there is lots to see, there are some great food stalls, especially the macaroni cheese one, where there is always a queue. There is also a great Caribbean cafe there too. If you're in London, this is a must in your places to go.

I think this place is quite overrated, at least the things we saw there. Outside the stores ist mostly 'Made in china' and they charge you a fortune. Then you see some stores, i guess they get Kind of famous on tiktok or so, but nothing special or "made in china" too. (The restaurants we tried - were ok, but not the taste why you should go all the way to camden market) I liked the Designs off the little houses.

Netil Market is a vibrant and creative community hub located near London Fields. It offers a unique blend of arts, fashion, and food with a bar and Saturday stalls. The market features a variety of offerings including vintage homeware, handmade jewelry, street food, and artisan crafts. This charming courtyard-style market is known for its relaxed atmosphere and is popular among locals and visitors alike.
Walking around I encountered myself with this small, cozy but with charm street food market. Mini stalls with a variety selection of food: pizza slices, bagels, coffee, noodles, pasta, rice bowls, wine and even art crafts. I went for a bagels and a lemonade from the Bagel Guys by Paulie but have a pint of LowRise lager first on Sen Noodles so in all it was a success. Definitely will try the beer road by it in my next visit.

It's probably more lively on the weekends ... but when I went most of the shops were closed and the ones who were open, their food was meh

This spot reminds me of Portland Oregon, where food truck meetups are super common. The people who run these little shops are really friendly and helpful, and there’s a lot of different seating formats. The Bar makes delicious (and strong) drinks and the guy is really cool. The Noodle place is tasty and so is the pizza shop.

On leaving Mare Street Market, I was directed to Netil Market around the corner. A street food market. A collection of semi-permament food stalls, including one serving specialty coffee. Hidden, off the beaten track. I did not eat, as I had already eaten.

Super cool, hip, outdoor street food market in Hackney with multiple food options such as falafel bap (huge queue!!!), fresh pasta, burgers & fries, pies, etc. There is ample seating available and it's free to visit. There is great alternative music played in the background for a great atmosphere.

Canopy Market, located in Kings Cross, London, is a vibrant market open from Friday to Sunday. It offers a variety of local produce, specialty foods, and artisanal goods for visitors to enjoy. The market has recently relocated to Coal Drops Yard and features an array of gourmet groceries for purchase. In addition to fresh food options, there are stalls selling arts and crafts, jewelry, ceramics, and homeware.
A small stand with local oysters was a highlight of the trip. What a pleasure to try this amazing delicacy and have a chat with the loveliest lady at the counter! Whenever I’m in the area, I always try to come by and see if they have some specials on offer (Guinness with oysters was just OMG)

Just the place to go on a rainy day. There are a good range of food, drink and makers stalls in this covered market. The quality of the food and drink looks good but I was interested in finding a gift and found final bags, candles, ceramics and beauty products. The market is located next to St Martins College and Waitrose in vibrant Granary Square.

Small market outside Waitrose, great selection of different food and stalls, bakery goods, cakes, churros, juices, burger, tacos, stir fry, lots to choose from and also some benches and table. Great option if you don’t want to dine in the already amazing selection of restaurant around the area.

An unexpected delight just around the corner from St Pancras. A whole bunch of us came from Kent, Essex, and THE NORTH to try this place and we were not disappointed. We were there for a few hours on a Friday lunch time and it wasn't busy, I'd say it was just right. Enough people for a light buzz. The food options are amazing. Between us we tried tacos, chorizo burgers, rice bowls, salads, pasta, duck burgers, brownies and more. All got scored at least a 7 by the group, with 8s, 9s and 10s. Great place to visit for a quick bite or a longer meet up. Nice walk along the canal to Camden afterwards too if you fancy it.

Recommend the licensed stalls/bar selling wine, beer, and bottles at front of market- had the best experience and a lovely chilled sparking red. The Aegeandeli was lush too- Turkish stuffed flatbread and salads to die for including a freshly made babaganoush.

Covent Garden is a vibrant area in London's West End, known for its restored market buildings that house an array of shops, cafes, and bars. The Apple Market offers local handicrafts and jewelry, while the East Colonnade Market features decorative paintings and furniture. Additionally, the Jubilee Market specializes in antiques on Mondays and clothes on weekdays. Surrounding the markets are various small stores and gourmet restaurants. Visitors can also enjoy daily street performances by talented artists.
Covent Garden is one of the most charming and vibrant areas in London! With street performers, boutique shops, cozy cafés, and great restaurants, it’s the perfect place to shop, relax, and soak up the atmosphere. The historic market hall is especially beautiful — filled with handmade items, unique designs, and souvenirs. The live music and street shows add a lot of energy and character to the place. It’s also very family-friendly, making it a great spot to explore with kids. In the evening, the area becomes even more magical with all the lights. A must-visit destination that blends art, culture, and shopping in the heart of London!

Covent Garden is pure magic. Walking through the arcades and streets you’ll find live music, street performers, unique shops and amazing restaurants. On Sunday almost everything was open, which gave the whole place a vibrant and international vibe. The mix of culture, shopping, food and music makes it more than just a market – it’s an experience for all senses. You can easily spend hours here and still discover something new every corner. For me, it’s ten times better than what you’d find back in Germany – this is exactly how an international city should feel. London at its best!
Singh F — Google review
If you cannot find what you are looking for at Covent Garden, you aren’t really looking! I love the variety individual proprietors as well as the shops. There is a wide selection of food available- tiny street vendors, full service dinners, wine bars and shops and fully stocked pubs. On top of it all there is music performed in the lower level courtyard which just makes the entire experience that much more grand! Take the opportunity to have a fabulous adventure to explore what Covent Garden has to offer!

Spent the evening walking through Covent Garden. The atmosphere was lively and full of energy, with the architecture looking incredible under the night lights. The Christmas decorations are starting to appear which adds another dimension. You can’t help but start to get excited for the festive season especially how well London gets decked out. It’s really a beautiful location here. There are a mix of high end and quality shops, market, restaurants, and live street entertainment.

So much to see and do here. Stunning architecture all around with gorgeous cobbled streets. Plenty of old phone boxes for tourists to take snaps in. Street performers and random pop ups often find themselves in and around the piazza. The Christmas decorations always add something magical to this area and adds to the vibe of the busy but vibrant area of town. Selection of foods, snacks, luxury items, entertainment… the list goes on. Always so clean and well kept as well, with lots of market stalls supporting small businesses as well. Can not recommend it highly enough.

As ever this market continues to offer food and products that are too expensive for the majority of people who, like myself live locally .I can't tell you what the food is like or how good the products are as I can't afford to try them. Also was quite busy with very few people (including those serving on the stalls)wearing masks, didn't fill me with confidence as far as feeling safe

First time I have been here and there were hardly any stalls. Not sure if it was because it was close to Christmas, so I will go back to see if there are any more stalls in January. Hackney Flea Market is a diverse and vibrant market located at 73A Stoke Newington Church St. in London, N16 0AS, United Kingdom. It started as a pop-up for vintage traders in 2013 and has since become a popular destination for flea market enthusiasts from around the world.
Definitely a market to check out. As one of the traders there, I really look forward to the weekend once a month when it's on. There's always a friendly, buzzy vibe with many regular, local and not so local visitors plus a smattering of tourists that discover this gem tucked away down a short path off Stoke Newington Church Street. For sale is an eclectic mix of useful and stylish homewares, small pieces of furniture, decorative items, prints, jewellery, clothes etc with new stock coming in every day. I highly recommended a visit, especially with all the cafes, independent shops and park nearby too.
Claire C — Google review
A cool market, however should not be called a “flea” market. To me, the term “flea market” suggests an opportunity for bargain-hunting, and the prices here are pretty steep (chair for £600 anyone?). “Artisanal/makers’/antiques” market would be more fitting.
Sarah K — Google review
Overrated. Pretentious. Items are no different to what I can find at my mum's house or a thrift/charity shop and they're priced extortionately when you can find them for under a tenner anywhere else. Tiny, plain, low, wood table: 50 pounds. 2ft tall, lightweight corner shelf:45 pounds. 4 dining chairs: 500 pounds. Vase: 35 pounds. Only one stall with some decent jewellery 20-30 pounds Definitely not a flea market, but a poor attempt at a vintage fair (at least you find some great gems at vintage fairs.) This place made me want to bring things from my own home and charge 3 times the price I would sell them for on FB marketplace. Also, thanks to social media marketing this place is so busy... but the venue is so cramped that you cant even spend time looking at things. You have to walk in a single file squeeze through people to pick something up while holding up the line behind. People pushing. Cant believe we drove an hour and a half for this.
Komal A — Google review
We regularly sell our wares at Hackney Flea Markets ( Copeland Park in Peckham, Big Penny Social in Walthamstow, Abney Hall in Stoke Newington and EartH Hackney) The organisation is great and they get all the best local and National traders at their fairs. They are always well attended and the atmosphere is always buzzing with added music and some venues have refreshments.
Rachel H — Google review
Very disappointing, not at all what has been advertised or hyped up to be. Extremely busy, but fewer stalls than expected, all selling the same kind of items (bric-a-brac, posters, paintings, crockery, small furniture items, jewellery). Eager to see what the Big flea market in Stratford is like instead.
R M — Google review
A fabulous market to buy or trade at - we've been working with Mark for quite a few years now, and Abney Hall remains a popular and vibrant venue. Looking forward to being back in September!
Claire W — Google review
Way too busy, should be ticket based as it’s impossible to move around. Prices are ridiculous, coffee tables for £400, lamps and other small items for £200. Flea markets are meant to be for people that need to get rid of old stuff and for those who can’t afford to buy brand new stuff so they come to these markets to purchase important items such as furniture or kitchen ware, but now that it has turned into a middle class - hipster activity, prices are sky high and it loses completely its purpose and meaning. EDIT to reply to your very helpful and understanding reply, yes, out of 15 reviews in the past 5 years, 8 of them were positive, I guess you failed to see that. When there is a business I enjoy, I leave reviews in other platforms too, google isn't the only one. Your market is also highly inaccessible for those who are disabled, maybe you would care for that a bit more. The gentrification of this area is strong and this market is a clear example of that, if you don't like what others think of the organization of this place, then don't deal with the reviews and get someone that can be more objective to do so for you. Good luck.
Marie-Rose Y — Google review
It’s very small to the amount of people that is there, however the sellers are super friendly and knowledgeable on their products. There is some cool stuff! This one is definitely smaller than the one in Peckham so I wouldn’t travel to this one unless you are local. Not a bad place, the only thing I would add it will be a bit more space to walk or like a proper one way system otherwise it feels like sardines in a tin

The Truman Brewery Markets, located in the vibrant Brick Lane area of East London, offer a diverse and eclectic shopping experience. With five markets in one location, visitors can explore an array of goods including books, clothing, vintage items, jewelry, prints, accessories and antiques. The main street market on Sundays is a treasure trove for bargain hunters with a wide variety of bric-a-brac.
I was at the London Coffee Festival, and popped out to check out the street food market. I tasted nearly everything on the Singaporean Street Food stall. It was excellent. I returned later, Generous portion size, more than sufficient for two. Delicious, very tasty. I felt guilty not eating it all. My only criticism is the use of plastic forks.

A great market space for street food and some interesting products. There is seating outside, and a couple of bars. The space reminds me of how Spitalfields Market used to be before it was 'cleaned up' and had some soul. As a trader @c_n_d_s on the day we didn't do so well as I think our products were too niche and perhaps overpriced for the crowd that was there. However as a punter a great place to visit.

A super lively and fun street with so much to see, the food is amazing and everyone was very friendly. It is crowded, but the energy is very good and positive, supporting local and seeing the people walking around. There are many shops to check and a lot of variety in the types of stores you see, but food is the main winner here and there is so much food that you'll need a nap after, this is a highly recommend spot, plus there didn't seem to be so many tourists compared to other areas, like real London!

The Brick Lane Sunday Market is a fantastic mix of food, handicraft and arty stalls. Although most of the stalls are all about and just about any style you can think of, it's available here and all at very reasonable prices. Seriously there's wasn't a style of food that I would want to eat that I could not find here, except maybe ice cream, but hey it's winter. The market has lots of tables and chairs, but good like trying to find a space. The place is packed!

Sunday is the busiest day as all the food stalls are open. It's one of the most vibrant and enthralling parts of the city, for real Londoners and our visitors. Mercato Mayfair is a unique and trendy market located in the converted 19th century St. Marks Church in London. The stunning stained-glass windows and soaring columns create an impressive backdrop for the diverse food offerings, including pad Thai, ramen, British, French, and Vietnamese cuisine. The market also features hand-crafted gins, German beers, and organic wines.
Visited on Thursday, 03rd July 2025. This location had been on my bucket list, and it didn't disappoint. There are multiple choices available in terms of savoury, sweet, or alcoholic substances to eat. We selected Beast & Field for their delicious steak sandwich (£16 each) and dirty chips. Not cheap, but the location in London and the setting of the building, as well as the quality of the food, justify it. We were given a beeper, which worked even though we had gone up 2 floors to the roof terrace. Food is cooked fresh (well, the meat is), so you have to wait. Once the beeper went off, we were able to bring the food up to the terrace. The sandwich was lovely, but the dressed chips were not great, to be honest, as the chips seemed to have been re-fried. That apart, we enjoyed the roof terrace, then descended and went to the ground floor to enjoy a beer from German Kraft. Again, not cheap at £7 for half a pint, but a great setting. You can sit where you like, it seems, regardless of what food choice you make. The only floor we didn't visit was the crypt.

An amazing place for having a meal. A beautiful church turn to a food market with different kind of foods/drinks. We had a tasty pizza and a delicious basque cheesecake. The vide of the place really good, we loved it. We visited on Saturday evening so, it was busy but still managed to to sit and enjoy our little time. 😇

This hidden gem is an absolute MUST visit. The old church is breathtaking. The market offers a wide range of food and drink options to meet anyone’s cravings. The food was outstanding- we can’t recommend the hand made pasta enough. Even though it’s was “busy” and seems very popular with the locals, we did not battle to get our food quickly, find a seat and enjoy. So much more than other markets in the area… definitely on our repeat visit list ❤️

Excellent place! Randomly stumbled across it and very glad I did. Across multiple floors in a church you will find a great food hall. Plenty of different cuisines to try, enjoyed having a few different starters and a main. I honestly could have eaten here all day. Nice to find there was a rooftop for the good weather. Plenty of different bars aswell for drinks. Highly recommend a visit for something different in Mayfair.
Joe S — Google review
The atmosphere here is second to none. Food here is really good, but expensive. The pizza, steak, and lobster roll are all recommended. All made to order so do prepare to wait a tiny bit. Because it is very popular recommend going slightly before meal times so you can get a seat as it's all free seating. However, one of the main drawing points is the lively atmosphere and environment. Highly recommend if you want to have a little bit of everything.
We S — Google review
Mercado Mayfair is one of those rare London experiences that feels both timeless and alive. Set inside the beautifully restored St. Mark’s Church, this 19th-century chapel has been transformed into a bustling food hall without losing any of its soul. Vaulted ceilings, stained glass, and centuries-old stone arches now overlook rows of food stalls, long communal tables, and a constant hum of laughter and conversation. By day, the sunlight filters through the church windows as people gather for artisan coffee, street food, and freshly baked pastries. By night—especially on Fridays, when we went—the space comes alive with live music, cocktails, and an energy that fills every corner. It’s crowded wall to wall, loud, joyful, utterly chaotic, and somehow reverent all at once. What makes Mercado Mayfair unique is the contrast it holds together: a place once meant for quiet reflection now pulsing with life, culture, and community. You can still feel the history in the stone under your feet, even as a band plays and the scent of global cuisines fills the air. We’ve visited food markets all over, but nothing else comes close to this—a cathedral of flavor, sound, and human connection right in the heart of London. Purely from a food standpoint—we loved the pizza place so much (both five cheese and truffle mushroom) that we had to return I’m the following Sunday for a second round. The Hefeweizen helped wash it down. Kids loved the gelato. I was happy they also made affogato. Be prepared to pounce and fight your way to freshly emptied seats and all will be well.
Kundan S — Google review
Great vibes and excellent staff! So many kinds of foods and drinks, we got excited to see those. People there seemed to be enjoying themselves, It was great fun to be there. We ordered drinks and pizza, and pizza tasted amazing! Crispy and fluffy, we felt the flavour of good flour. Of course ingredients were amazing too. The cocktail tasted wonderful! It was one of the happiest moments we had during our England trip!

Absolutely beautiful venue! Set inside a converted church, the atmosphere is truly unique. It does get very crowded, though, and finding a seat can be a challenge—especially during peak hours. I love coming here in the winter since it’s warm inside, though the basement is noticeably colder (but much quieter). They also have a rooftop area with limited seating, which is a nice bonus. Food prices are on the higher side, but the drinks are delicious and worth a try.

Camden Passage in Islington is a bustling pedestrian-only street filled with antique stalls, shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes. The narrow cobbled streets are home to the Camden Passage Flea Market where vendors sell jewelry on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This market is known for its vintage trinkets, bric-a-brac, and unique crockery store.
This is now my favourite market, I came on Sunday which is a big mistake, majority shops in the market open on Wednesday and Saturday! I’ve heard some shops only take cash so make sure you at least have a tenner. I bought a ring which was supposed to be £5, but the owner was so nice and said my ring is small and £3 would do. This place gives different vibe to the other touristy markets, I love waking through the alleyways, and things here are more reasonably priced. You’ll find lots of vintage jewelleries, ornaments, cups etc.

A lovely little street with boutiques, cafes, Bakeries. On Wednesdays and Saturdays it hosts a flea market. Thoroughly enjoyed browsing.

Still a delightful street. Great to return after some 25 years away and find it hadn't been taken over by bland chains. Plenty of independent cafés, restaurants and wine bars - as well as a quirky selection of boutiques and stalls. Can get incredibly busy - so worth visiting reasonably early in the morning when the stores are just opening and the crowds have yet to gather (or late in the evening for gelato and hot chocolate).

It’s the ideal spot to visit on a sunny day, with plenty of charming local shops and cozy coffee houses. Our go-to routine is to start with breakfast at The Breakfast Club, pick up a pastry from Buns From Home, and then check through some antique finds. That’s what we call the perfect weekend.

We were thrilled to win a tea tasting experience via the in-store raffle. We thoroughly enjoyed the session and were really impressed with our host Anna. She came across as knowledgeable and really enthusiastic about the brand and the samples. She was really engaging too. In fact, the session was a highlight of our mini break! We were so impressed and surprised that she has only been with the company for a few weeks. What a great appointment! It was a wonderful experience! This store is really charming and definitely worth a visit! Currently drinking Gingerbread Chai which has (temporarily) knocked off Mojitea off my top spot!
Teresa A — Google review
Last here 30 years ago, the market is much smaller than it used to be, now there are lots of boutique type shops and lots of high end coffee shops, guess that's gentrification for you!
Trevor H — Google review
All the stores are tiny, packed with stuff and impossible to get in. When you do get in one, the shop keepers are cold and rude. One clothing shop I was able to get into had an old man that just stared at me the whole time and didn’t utter a word nor cracked a smile. The man reeked of cigarettes making the whole shop smell. Terrible treatment by people in a service/people-oriented industry. Don’t have a public facing job if you don’t like all walks of life.

Billingsgate Market is a must-visit destination for seafood lovers and culinary adventurers alike. As the largest fish market in the UK, it opens its doors from 4 am to 8 am, Tuesday through Saturday, inviting both trade customers and enthusiastic foodies to experience its vibrant atmosphere. With over 150 species of fresh seafood available, visitors can immerse themselves in the lively banter of traders while exploring an impressive array of exotic fish from around the world.
This market reminds me of Tsukiji in Japan, in the best way. Everyone is friendly and an expert in their particular type of seafood, and the variety is great! We were spoiled for choice and went around the market many times before making a decision. They also have a small cafe at the corner if you choose to have breakfast after a long morning of seafood shopping! Also - don’t forget to bring your own bag!
Kimberly H — Google review
The best place to buy fish at a good price compared to supermarkets. Every time we go there, after buying everything we need, we go to the cafeteria and enjoy a good breakfast. Everything is delicious and the value for money is very good. Even if you don't want to buy fishing, it's worth going for delicious breakfast.
Sofia S — Google review
Great place to buy fresh fish, crab, squid, prawns and octopus. Best price in London. Regardless of its opening times this place gets extremely busy the earlier the better, parking can be found but not easy after 5 am almost all parking slots are taken. I didn’t see they do fish cleaning service which would be nice to have on site.
Flavian D — Google review
Exceptionally fresh fish! Lovely vibe of hustle and bustle, can get really good deals, they have fish and seafood I’ve never seen in any other markets around London which is amazing. Traders are very helpful and cheerful. I was devastated to hear it is closing down in 2028, as it holds a huge historic value to the UK. It’s a real shame and loss to the culture.
Julia N — Google review
Billingsgate Fish Market is a fantastic place for fresh seafood, offering a wide variety of fish and shellfish at great prices. The quality is excellent, and you can find almost anything you’re looking for. However, for the best selection, you really need to arrive early—around 5 AM is ideal—since the freshest and most popular items go fast. The market is bustling in the early hours, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful if you need advice. Parking can be a bit tricky if you arrive later in the morning, and it gets crowded by mid-morning. Overall, a great experience for seafood lovers, but be prepared for an early start!
Shawn V — Google review
From the sea to the plate via billingsgate !! That’s how fresh the fish is … ideal if you can pool in and buy with friends. The early morning trip is worth every penny ! And don’t forget to get some prawns when you are there ! PS : Keep an eye out for the offers and always haggle !

An historic piece of London, well worth a visit. Bulk buy fish at great prices and huge choice. Go very early, even on a Saturday as a number of traders are packing up by 7am. Take in the atmosphere, and visit the legendary cafe (inside, in the corner) for a fish/seafood breakfast or full English
Ian G — Google review
This market is just amazing. Such a huge variety of quality seafood, the atmosphere itself and the hardworking fishermen/fishmongers - not to mention the great prices (as long as you have room in your freezer). Truly a gem in London but indeed requires an early wake-up. Nonetheless, a must-visit place for anyone interested in food.

Whitecross Market, once known as the 'Squalors Market' in the 19th century, has transformed into a bustling street food market in London. It is a popular spot for city workers to grab lunch during weekdays. The market offers a diverse range of cuisines from up to 50 independent vendors, including Korean-Japanese fusion, traditional pies, venison burgers, Korean bibimbap wraps, and legendary burritos.
Amazing culinary panoply of delicious food from around the world. Didn't know London had something to rival Hawker Street in KL. Amongst the selections included Brazilian ,Turkish, Indian , Korean , Japanese , Spanish, Caribbean food. Reasonable prices less than £10. Most stalls accepted credit cards. I bought the pulled pork and paella dishes.

It’s ok, good to get a quick meal. 4 stars maximum and I’m generous because it’s a bit pricey for a wrap or so take away. I ate nicely and tasty for my chicken wrap. Cons is very busy during lunch time need to queue long to get food. However I see the people doing their best to serve as quick they can.

The best food market in London! Have tried so many of the food stalls and they’re all so good. Great portion sizes and excellent value for money. One of my favorite stalls is the Turkish Wraps. Go-to order: spinach and feta wrap with sausage, halloumi, all salad, garlic mayo, and chilli sauce! It’s a very large and filling wrap and it’s so delicious!

An amazing selection of food from all over. Nice friendly staff at the stalls. Meals are from £4 - £6.50 so really cheap. There is always somewhere new to try. The smells are just wonderful. Every Sunday from 10am-4pm. Great food options, mostly baked goods (bread, sweets, sausage rolls), along with fresh vegetables, cheese, and fish. Some clothing and home decor booths as well. Great community feel.

Howver if you’re after quirky upcycled furniture, one-off lighting and vintage cookware then Retro Bongo, which specialises in good condition, pre-loved Le Creuset etc at bargain prices is the one to visit.

Didn't even realise there was anything there: if you know, you know. There was live music, not sure if that a weekly thing on a Sunday. Either way, the music was great with good beer. They also have pizza along the market which looked delicious. Very happy vibe type, seemed cool.

I stopped by a small Sunday market in south London, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was friendly and full of life, with locals chatting and music playing in the background. There was a lovely mix of food stalls, handmade crafts, and fresh produce. Everything I tried tasted fresh and made with care, especially the pastries and coffee. It’s the kind of community market that makes you feel at home and want to come back every weekend.

In a sunny 😎 Sunday with time in your hand and need to get some essentials and little indulgence, I will recommend to give this market a go. We went pass in the bus 🚎 saw it and jump out. Just as well we find some bargain in the antique stalls, friendly people, plenty of space to walk and a change for your normal high street shops. They have stall with; bread, cheese, coffee, tea, flowers and plants and much more. Most of the local shops bars, pubs and restaurants are open or you can opt for a food stall.

Brockley Market is a lively Saturday market located in the car park of Lewisham College, just 10 minutes from Lewisham Central in south London. Despite its humble appearance, the market is a hidden gem for food enthusiasts seeking high-quality products without the tourist crowds.
I am working my way around to trying all the sellers: 1. Nicks chocolate great quality chocolates, you are paying for top quality so evens out 2. The coffee van friendly bunch 3. I skipped the Cronut (too much, too sweet) and bought carrot cardamom marmalade instead. A gift. Maybe just a gesture—something bright in a jar to counter all the gray I’ve been carrying. I was still sad. Still thinking of them. The way absence clings even in sunlight. But the dogs helped. All these perfect little beasts trotting around like joy is simple. Tail, nose, sunlight, repeat. I let myself smile. That’s what markets are for sometimes. Not healing, exactly. But reminding you that life keeps wagging. Even when it hurts.

This is just a note about one of the stalls. The guys selling the chocolate was so friendly and enthusiastic about the chocolate, they looked amazing and had great flavours that I was enticed to buy. However as someone with nut allergies I was hesitant but noticed there were plenty nut free chocolate. Alas, the vendor, who was probably over enthused in describing the chocolate, they had starting touching different chocolates, some with nuts which could be cross contamination. That was the only reason I didn't end up buying. Please if you could be more careful, as I would have loved to support local businesses.

Really nice market. I visited on a Saturday. The food options are very good, the buttermilk fried chicken was crisp and had very nice coleslaw and hot sauce. The other good options looked good even though I didn’t try them. The food at the Duke of York Food Market is SO GOOD! Incredibly tasty, super fresh, with many different options - savoury or sweet! You have to go all around the circle to be able to see all the options before you choose the ones you may want the most! I really recommend. You may want to bring a picnic rug if you’re in a group though unless you don’t mind seating on the grass. If you go by yourself or in 2-3, for example, you can easily sit on the steps or roadside border around the square. It’s dog friendly too, which is great!

Much bigger than I thought with vendors setting up shop around the big lawn. Most food is overpriced for what it is (street food), the peroigi stall seems the only one with reasonable prices. New Covent Garden Market is a bustling indoor market in London, renowned for its diverse range of vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, and seafood. The market also features relaxed cafes where visitors can unwind. It's conveniently located near Central London and offers a wholesale fruit market that opens at midnight, providing an early start for those seeking high-quality produce. While the entrance may be initially confusing due to the separation of the flower and fruit markets, the overall experience is described as impressive and well-organized.
The market is pretty good and you can already buy vegetables and fruit starting from 10:30. It’s not an absolutely next level compared to usual smaller fruit shops but certainly has better prices and selection. You can pay with a card. I went there only for fruit and veg. The entrance is quite confusing to begin with. Flower market and fruit market are completely separated, as well as the car park. If you drive you will first meet with the flower market, for the fruit market you will need to go pass the flower and further down the “tunnel”. I minus one star in this review because there is lack of sign to direct people. This can be very confusing for people who visiting the first time. For fruit and veg market: Private customers can only park at the multi storey parking. Please bring your trolley those with “flat platforms”. Everything in the market sells in boxes. People are nice and none of they are pushy. They accept cards payment. If you are fruit lover like me it is really worth a visit. I went there on a friday at 1am it wasn’t busy and easy to walk around.

Nice late night spot to goto if you’re after fresh veggies and fruits, veggie market starts from 12am, flower market opens at 4am. Road directions are ultra unhelpful, easiest access to the veggie side is from Nine Elms station and go thru that flowery decorated corridor. Most veggie seller that does retail are at row C. Veggie sellers offer a wide array of stuff, like different species of tomatoes and spinach. Note most of them accept only cash.

Very convenient wholesale fruit market not far away from Central London. The fruit section is in fact opened from 12 midnight, which is far earlier than flower market. The hall C & D are really great price to find bargain fruit and vegetable with very excellent quality. The price here is slightly more expensive than New Spitalfield Market, but for surely the quality of fruit and shopping experience is far better. Car park is available in another tower which charge £5 for first 3 hours.

The market is located in Bermondsey Square and has been a premier destination for antique enthusiasts for 75 years. I visited this market in July as a traveler looking for vintage silver jewelry. After browsing, I stopped at the first booth on the left inside the indoor area. The dealer seemed friendly and told me the pieces were silver, presenting them as genuine vintage items. I purchased a necklace and two bracelets for £250. However, after returning home, I discovered that both bracelets were not real silver chains. The plating had worn off, the links were poorly made, and only small parts like clasps or charms had silver marks (see photos). These were clearly cheap remakes, not authentic vintage silver as described. This experience left me very disappointed. I trusted the dealer’s explanation, but in reality I was deceived. Visitors to this market should be very cautious, especially at this booth.

Market
Lower Marsh Market, situated near Waterloo Station, is a bustling and historically significant street market that offers a delightful fusion of artisan shopping and delectable dining experiences. From Korean street food at Bibimbab to Sicilian delights at Cucuzza and authentic Indian dishes at BhajisLDN, the market boasts an array of culinary options available Monday to Friday each week.
Joy & Gladness - We had the Jerk Chicken Rice Box and the Jerk Chicken Burger and omg they were delicious. First time having street food and what a way to start. Fantastic service too.

Location wise is nice. Smaller market, but also less crowded if compared to other famous ones of the city.
Maria C — Google review
Love the location but not much variety. A lot of stalls but many are selling the same food - cheap kebab! Mainly Halal, didn't see anyone there with a sustainable offering. Witnessed quite a few stalls with poor hygiene practices so didn't want to chance eating at any plus I don't eat imported meat
Elizabeth — Google review
Plenty of places to choose from for food and drink. Looks pedestrianised but cars do come down the road (pedestrians possibly have right of way?). There was a car show happening on a Saturday in July when we were there. Lots of places have outside seating. A nice multicultural crowd, very close to Waterloo station and the Old Vic.
Colin H — Google review
Lovely, lively street with a lot of food options. Whether you are in the mood for Greek, Thai, Nigerian, Cuban or you're thinking of a flavor of any cuisine, one will find it here. Thrift shops, outlets, green grocers, neighbourhood baker, breakfast nooks, handmade jewellery, bubble tea, old vinyl records, this is a buzzing place and round lunch time it is suddenly soooo busy so better come early before the lunch hour rush. Come evening time there are a few pubs and the place is transformed into a chill, hangout place for small or big bites. Already busy on a weekday what more during the weekends.

Lower Marsh Market is a vibrant and historically significant street market, located on the street of the same name, near Waterloo Station. One of the unique features of this market is that part of the road is pedestrian-only, with beautiful planters filled with a variety of flowers and plants. Visitors can sit on benches or at tables and enjoy the atmosphere, including a forest-like setting with benches nestled among the planters. Lower Marsh Market has a rich history dating back to the 1800s, when it was known as the longest street market in the UK. Today, it offers a diverse range of cultural experiences, halal food and cuisines, making it a bustling and unique destination for both locals and tourists alike. Every day of the week, visitors can explore a variety of food stalls, street food carts, including halal food and independent stores, with options ranging from classic British staples like fish and chips and pie and mash to international cuisine such as Indian, Mexican, Lebanese, and Caribbean dishes. Additionally, visitors can browse a variety of products and services, including literature, handcrafted crafts, jewelry, vintage clothing, and even independent record and music stores. Located just a short walk from Big Ben, the South Bank, and Waterloo Station, Lower Marsh Market is a convenient and surprisingly affordable destination. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of both the London Eye and the Central London skyline while exploring this bustling and culturally rich market. For those interested in exploring London's vibrant cultural offerings, Lower Marsh Market is a must-visit destination. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite, searching for a unique souvenir, or just looking to soak up the lively atmosphere, Lower Marsh Market truly has something for everyone.

A lot of international food here. The Lahori Spice Village was delicious. There are a few places to sit & eat.
Aba M — Google review
Lower Marsh Market has an abundance of food stalls serving a range of cuisines including India, Thai, Greek and the list goes on. You'll also find a second-hand record stall, jewellery and fashion. The main focus however is the food. There are benches and tables so you can sit down and consume your street food. It gets very busy at lunch time due to all the office workers flocking to the market for a reasonably priced meal.

Amazing flower market but accept cash only. Great varieties and lots of unusual flowers. The street had lots of interesting stores from antique, vintage, books n records, clothing and homeware. Great cafes and restaurants too. Great place for a Sunday explore and coffee. Very busy place.

Tooting Market is a charming, long-established covered market that has been delighting visitors since 1930. While it may not have the same fame as some of London's larger food markets, this hidden treasure offers an impressive array of traders and international street food options. Recognized for its quality, Tooting Market was awarded the Best Small Indoor Market at the Great British Market Awards in 2017.
a great mix of delicious food, quality drinks, and a warm, inviting ambience. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it perfect for both casual dinners and nights out. Their cocktails are expertly crafted, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to relax, eat well, and enjoy good company.

Tooting Market is a vibrant and diverse spot in South London that offers a fantastic mix of food stalls, cafes, bars, and shops. The market has a lively, community atmosphere with something for everyone, from international street food to unique local crafts. Whether visiting on a weekday or weekend, the market tends to be buzzing with energy, especially in the evenings. Highlights include the incredible variety of food options—jerk chicken, Mauritian curries, and Korean fried chicken burgers are just a few crowd favorites. The lively atmosphere makes it a perfect place to meet friends or enjoy a casual night out. There's a good balance between local vendors and specialty eateries offering fresh, flavorful dishes. The market also features some great bars and outdoor seating areas which add to its social vibe. A few practical tips: avoid going too early as some stalls may still be setting up, and expect a busy but fun experience. Overall, Tooting Market has evolved into a trendy, community-focused destination that’s well worth a visit for food lovers and social butterflies alike.

VIBRANT GEM: The old Tooting Market in the South Western parts of London, is a vibrant gem blending tradition with modern charm. Established over a century ago, it offers a lively mix of food stalls, vintage shops, and quirky boutiques under one roof. The market is abuzz with multicultural energy—visitors can enjoy global cuisines, from Caribbean jerk chicken to authentic Italian pasta, all within a friendly, informal setting. Its artistic vibe, colorful murals, and local musicians add character, making it a favorite hangout for both locals and tourists. Tooting Market perfectly captures London’s diversity, creativity, and community spirit in a warm, welcoming space.

There aren't many shops to visit, it's more about the food. But the fact that it's indoors is good for rainy weather. The flavors aren't bad.
S. K — Google review
It was a booking for 2 person and we had an amazing time, the food and the ambiance and service was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Tooting Market is such a lively and fun place to visit! It has a great mix of modern pop-up restaurants, cafés, and shops, all tucked inside a cozy indoor market space. The vibe is energetic yet relaxed, and it’s a fantastic spot to hang out with friends or grab a casual meal. There’s an amazing variety of food options — from pizzas and burgers to ramen, tacos, and desserts — you can pretty much find anything you’re craving here. I tried the miso ramen at the Ramen Bar, and it was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly comforting. Overall, Tooting Market is a must-visit if you’re in the area. Whether you’re there for food, drinks, or just to explore the different stalls, it’s a great place with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Great Atmosphere. Lovely people. Could easily spend the day enjoying all the delights. Holds the best juice bar in town! Tooting Market caters for all with its wide selection of shops, Communal seating area, indoor heating/air conditioning for the winter/summer months. The juice bar is a must try!
Leon M — Google review
Such a good market, it was my first visit and I was pleasant surprised. So many food stalls to choose from. I tried few and food was amazing. Inside there are tables to sit and many have their own seating areas. Butcher and other craft shops you can also find. Fruits and veggies with very good choice and reasonable prices. Place it’s busy and popular amongst the locals. It is located very close to Tooting Broadway station. I recommend this place 👍

Clothing store
Dover Street Market is a trendy multi-story fashion emporium located in London. Originally situated on Dover Street, it moved to Haymarket in 2016, near Piccadilly Circus. The store features a wide range of brands, from luxury designers to rising talent, offering a mix of streetwear and high-end labels. Founded by Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons, the store now has locations in New York, Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore and Los Angeles.
This mall is a unique blend of art and shopping. The one-of-a-kind decor creates such an inspiring atmosphere. I especially love the cozy cafe on the top floor. It's the perfect place to unwind after a shopping spree
JanieJay — Google review
Dover Street Market London is one of the most inspiring retail spaces I’ve ever visited. Each floor felt like stepping into a different world—carefully curated, beautifully spaced, and full of unexpected creativity. The clothing is displayed like art, offering endless inspiration for anyone interested in fashion or design. The staff were warm and welcoming, even opening both doors as I entered, which added a lovely touch of theatre to the experience. After exploring, I stopped at Rose Bakery on the top floor—calm, relaxing, and filled with design books to browse while enjoying a pot of tea and something sweet. A brilliant visit from start to finish.

My friend loves this place so took me for my first visit. Beautiful building both inside and out. Interesting designers if you are looking for something different. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice cafe on third floor and lovely clean loos!

Walking into DSM felt like walking into a friends home… from the warm welcome, Comme chats, and mutual love for each other’s outfits, by the impeccably dressed doorman Davinder (and of course when he offered sparkling water) to the guys, Max and Keenan from the Supreme counter, who were happy to assist in organising my Noir Kei Ninomiya pieces, taking garments off mannequins and ensuring all my needs were take of.. Cristobal finalised my purchase of 2 new Noir Kei pieces and to perfectly wrap up a casual, high end, experience where the professional and social vibes were simply all on point.. Like minded individuals who are true followers of this niche style recognise, respect and engage and it’s been a truly gorgeous experience.. Thanks Dover street market London 🇬🇧🇯🇵🫶🏻

The clothes here are amazing. It's like visiting a gallery installation. The cafe is very good, although overpriced. It's a great place to peoplewatch as well, because the ppl who work and shop here are srsly into looking stunning.

Fantastic store for discovering high-end and luxury fashion, as well as street wear brands and of course designers from the Comme Des Garcons stable. They also have regular exhibitions and a cafe for when you need a breather. I've found the staff to always be friendly and helpful

Really cool shop plus great experience visually, first time visiting with my wife. Staff were very friendly. Probably the best shop in London if I'm honest . Can't wait to visit in the future .
Stewart M — Google review
I had a disappointing experience a couple of months ago regarding a pair of ASICS x Little Tokyo Table Tennis sneakers that weren’t for sale and my follow-up emails went unanswered. However, during my recent visit to the store, I had a completely different experience. I came across the Nike x Martine Rose sneakers — again, they weren’t available for sale — but this time the team handled it exceptionally well. The floor manager took the time to listen, understood the situation, and even shared his contact to follow up directly with the brand. I truly appreciate how Dover Street Market London handled this with professionalism and empathy. It turned what started as a frustrating situation into a positive one. Thank you to the staff and manager for restoring my confidence in the DSM experience.
