The National Theatre is a renowned venue that showcases a wide range of theatrical performances, from new plays to classic dramas and Shakespearean productions. With three distinct theatre spaces, it offers diverse and accessible shows for all audiences. One of its notable productions delves into the epic story of Nathuram Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi, spanning thirty years in an India striving for independence.
An absolute masterpiece of brutalist architecture, with an incredible use of space, well worth a visit, even if you don’t see a play. Lots of wonderful places to eat, drink and sit. The bookstore is fabulous. Pictures don’t really capture it.
Richard S — Google review
Visiting the National Theatre in London was a truly enriching experience. From the moment I entered the building, I was struck by the architectural elegance and the welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. The space manages to feel both grand and intimate, with thoughtful design that invites you to slow down, observe, and soak in the cultural energy. I attended a performance of [insert name of the play or production here], and it exceeded all my expectations. The direction was sharp, the pacing flawless, and the performances from the cast were deeply compelling. Every actor brought nuance and authenticity to their roles, and the emotional weight of the story was palpable throughout the auditorium. What stood out most to me was the staging and set design—visually stunning, with clever transitions and lighting that enhanced the narrative without ever overshadowing it. The sound design and live music (if applicable) were also beautifully integrated, creating an immersive environment that kept the audience fully engaged. The National Theatre staff were professional and courteous, helping to create a smooth and enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Even the intermission felt like part of the magic, with spaces to relax, grab a drink, and discuss what we’d seen so far. In short, the National Theatre delivers not just a show, but an entire journey. It’s a place where powerful storytelling, artistic innovation, and human connection converge. I left the theatre inspired, moved, and already planning my next visit.
Andre P — Google review
Very inspiring atmosphere, impressive connection speed, and plenty of seating. The entrance is free (bag search). Gets a bit busy about 30 min before the performance (currently Inter Alia with Rosamund Pike). The building is a notable example of post-WWII Brutality architecture. While its radical minimalism and anti-aesthetics is not for everyone, it was fitting well the post-WWII resources deprivation and priorities re-evaluation (i.e. the shift from pompous public projects to NHS and other projects that prioritize human lives). Creative night lighting, both inside and outside, adds an extra visual appeal while preserving the core concepts of the style.
Yulia V — Google review
Had a great tour. Patrick is a total star and pitched his content perfectly. A good mix of facts and anecdotes. We had a nice lunch on the terrace afterwards. All of the staff were lovely. The National had a great feel of being a loved and used community space as well as a theatrical venue. A great coffee and toilet spot, lunch spot or just somewhere for a rest. Highly recommended.

We went to see hamlet . You can have a really good view from circle . Organisation is good. Hamlet is amazing production and hiran Abeysekara isa marvellous actor. Surrounding area is great place to walk.

Great building (if a little architurally ugly). Lots of good bars, cafes etc along with the 3 amazing theatres. We went to see Hamlet in the Lyttelt0on Theatre, which was great
Matt H — Google review
I’m not reviewing it as a theatre, but a place to work and dwell. It opens around 10am with a bag check, reminding you that this is a cultural centre of importance. Visually, you can’t get away from the concrete with deliberately clear wood-mold texturing. This is softened by surprisingly plush carpet, excellent lighting and art pieces / displays. The carpet means it doesn’t feel echoey and dampens the sound to the point it feels like a pleasant place to work. You’ll see on the ground floor many people working at the long trestle tables. A point of note is that there aren’t many power points on the ground floor. Go up one level to the mezzanine and there are bar stools with high tables next to power points. Again, surprisingly quiet and comfy. The WiFi is good - in fact great, it just works and you see many people on video calls but not in the disturbing way you might experience in a coffee shop - there is enough space and distance for everyone. That doesn’t mean this is a boring space either, you’ll find people playing board games, children exporting the circular furniture and lots of light. During the day, there isn’t really a cafe, but Grind (coffee shop) is next door, though depending on the way the wind blows you can or can’t get there via the connecting door. Bringing this all together, if I want a place to work for a while around Waterloo then I choose the National Theatre - no fuss, comfort, space, connection and quiet.
Nick G — Google review
The Royal National Theatre is an impressive and inspiring place that delivers a memorable cultural experience. The building has a striking presence and the atmosphere inside feels both grand and welcoming. You can sense the history and artistic energy as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff is professional and helpful and the entire venue is well organized. Finding your way around is easy and everything runs smoothly from ticket check to seating. The public areas are clean and spacious which makes the moments before and after the show comfortable. The productions are the real highlight. The performances are powerful and beautifully executed and the actors bring a remarkable level of talent and emotion to the stage. Lighting and sound design are handled with great care and enhance the storytelling in a very effective way. If I had to mention one thing, some seats can feel a bit tight depending on the section you are in so choosing your place in advance can make the evening even more enjoyable. Overall the Royal National Theatre is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves theatre and high quality performances. A must visit when in London and always worth returning to.

Italian restaurant
Mamma Mia is a charming family-run Italian restaurant that has been delighting diners in South West London since 1976. Known for its warm atmosphere and classic dishes, it serves up an array of pasta, meat, and fish options that keep the local crowd coming back for more. The friendly staff and owner create a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy their meals while soaking up the ambiance reminiscent of Italy itself.
We had an afternoon shindig at Mamma Mia's after my dad's funeral as it was the place Mike and Betty loved most in EastSheen. Rosa's Puglia inspired food was wonderful, and Leo kept our glasses of Chilled Prosecco topped up, bless him. Can't recommend it enough.

A delightful local. Very friendly staff and feels like you are being welcomed as part of the family. Have been to others in the area with far more acclaim such as Riva in barnes, and this was a far better experience hands down. From food, to atmosphere, to value. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for an authentic Italian.

We have been frequenting this establishment for the last thirty years. Leo, Rosa and Jo have become dear friends . Food is consistently good with a home made touch. Dining al fresco here is just like being in Italy.

Fantastic! We had a beautiful anniversary celebration in here. Grilled aubergine is amazing. Definitely will come back again!

My family have been going here for years, since I was a kid. I had my wedding reception here. The food is amazing! Leonardo & Rosa have always been so welcoming and the wine selection is great. I look forward to bringing my children here.
Nicola V — Google review
3rd or 4th visit, food is average at the very best. Small portions, not cheap and rather bland. Dessert was a wet, sloppy rather nasty half baked cake with a meringue topping🤮
Dangerous D — Google review
This restaurant is absolutely a hidden gem. Leonardo and Rosa are very hospitable; Leonardo greated us and took my coat. He is up for a laugh and very respectable. Their family have 5 businesses on Upper Richmond Road. Rosa’s authentic Italian food is spectacular for the price, as is the intimate setting; it is a small restaurant, perfect for a couple or a group of friends out celebrating. It’s a very fine and cosy atmsophere, rather fancy, and somewhere I’d go on occassion. It is my favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to, because of how warm Leonardo and Rosa make it; their friendliness makes it feel like you are dining in their lovely home, and there is a wall of fame where you can see photos of VIPs have visited.
Amy — Google review
Authentic Italian cuisine, family owned business with Rosa in the kitchen adding her personal touch to the family recipes. A legendary restaurant visited by politicians and royalty.

Nestled in the heart of London's vibrant West End, the Adelphi Theatre is a gem that showcases an exquisite art deco interior. This charming venue specializes in comedies and long-running musicals, making it a must-visit for theatre enthusiasts. With its prime location on the Strand, you can catch captivating performances like *Kinky Boots*, *Chicago*, *Sweeney Todd*, and *Evita*.
Went to the Adelphi Theatre for Back to the Future the Musical on Saturday 13th September 2025, starring Brian Conley as Doc Emmett Brown. Was in the Dress Circle at the time. Not much leg room as I recall. The view was decent. You are not allowed to take photos or videos during the performance but is ok in the time before, at the interval and after the show. I went to the bar when thirsty at the interval and got a bottle of Coca Cola for around £4.60. At the end they had crates to dispose of rubbish like the empty bottles. Show started around 7:35pm. Interval after 9pm. Show ended sometime after 10pm that evening. If you arrive early, there is time to walk to the Thames via the Victoria Embankment. Even then, once seated, you have to wait half an hour or so for the show to start. I left my backpack at the hotel, only had my camera and camera bag on me.
Elliott B — Google review
We went to see Back to the Future on 18/9 . We were ‘in the gods’ seats . We got into the theatre very quickly, our bag was checked as you cannot take anything in . The male toilets were clean but very limited. The first half of the performance is very slow but the second half makes up for it, the ending with the DeLoren car special effect is amazing. Charing Cross underground station is the nearest which is a 5 minute walk away
Gary R — Google review
Fantastic show which is what it is all about. How do they make the DeLorean fly over the audience? However, if you are long legged like me, typical 1930's theatre, leg room is very tight and seats are very narrow. However, Front of House Staff the most polite I have yet met in London Theatre Land.
Gulliver B — Google review
I watched 'Back to the future' with seat A8. There's a safety rail but you may not notice it. It's a clear view with good price and you can see the actors' expressions. I really recommend it.

The "Back to the Future" Musical is very funny and amazing! Full of special effects. The dancing scenes are full of energy and music power. Great Musical!!
Etoile — Google review
Totally amazing show, while we live in digital world it was impressive to see how much you can achieve by playing with perspective, lights and props. Great story line, good effects I really had a good time there.
Damian B — Google review
Fantastic show, great choreography, Mr Conley fluffed his lines on one occasion and he was in fits of laughter, the audience gave him a round of applause which he appreciated. This is one of those shows that I will gladly go and watch again, seats were very comfy and loads of leg room, didn't have to keep rising out of my seat to let people through as very wide walk through. Go and see it before Mr Conley finishes his run as the Doc, you only have 1 more week.

Great venue, decked out in bttf styling. The show was great, and my seat (b14) was perfect!

The Theatre Royal Haymarket is a historic 19th-century theater known for its opulent design and iconic 6-columned portico. It hosts compelling drama productions featuring established stars, such as Ben Whishaw, Lucian Msamati, and Brian Cox. The venue has received praise for its exceptional sound and staging, although some patrons have noted obstructed views from certain seating areas.
Beautiful small theater, where 90% of the seats are great. I was on the first row in the first balcony, excellent view. Bought tickets online, and it was very easy to access my seats with the digital tickets. In February, the heating was very high, good for light clothing. Seats are comfortable with very little leg-room. Sound is good given the size of the venue; a 20-minute intermission will give you time to visit the bar or just admire the architecture.
Indy V — Google review
Beautiful, historic theatre with a stunning auditorium. Seats are well padded, but old and a little rickety. Legroom depends on where one is sat, but most seats offer sufficient room, though it cannot be described as luxurious. One of the few West End houses that offers a complimentary cloakroom - handy in winter! Sightlines are generally good unless seated at the very highest level.
Rohan P — Google review
Beautiful theatre with a charming interior and a great stage setup .the atmosphere feels classic and elegant. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Leicester Square or Charing Cross, which makes it very convenient. The only drawback is the bar area it’s quite small with limited options. Overall though, a lovely place to enjoy a night at the theatre.
FARANAK A — Google review
Beautiful traditional theatre , we were in the crows nest on benches ! Well Friday ticket grab £10 opening night. The play was best of the year! That doesn't mean it is what ever people say. We left 1/2 time it wasn't good 😊 and the seats were so un-comfortable and I suffer with poor seating, my fault , cheap seats are cheap 😁 . Anyway if there's a good play on and OH you like a lot of stairs then pay a visit. Keep an eye open for deals etc for a cheap night out or have some luxury in the expensive seats. Summery. Stairs, Traditional, Deals.
David C — Google review
In the stalls, I had decent leg room & I'm fairly tall. Bars weren't busy & enough space during the intermission to stand and chat. Prices as expected at any West End Theatre. Red wine is surprisingly ok.
Tigershout — Google review
Beautiful theatre, the play was breathtaking, I absolutely loved my seat on the stage, cast immersed us in their story so well I was crying at the end of it! Will definitely visit again!
Simona A — Google review
What a beautiful theatre, there are lots of steps down to the stalls, but my 80 year old friend wth a walking stick could enter and leave at street level. It was lovely and cool when we entered (30° outside), though the air con was turned off at some point. Lots of room in the stalls bar.
Sue S — Google review
Amazing venue, and comfy seats in the gallery. Would have loved the stewards to have not let people in 10 mins into play who then bobbed around all play and answered emails during second half

The Bridge Theatre is a contemporary and stylish riverfront venue that offers a unique theater experience. It features a rustic-chic bar and showcases both new plays and reimagined classics. One of its standout productions is 'Guys & Dolls,' which has been praised for its exceptional music, talented performers, and clever staging. The theater's modern design ensures comfortable seating with great views from every angle, while the spacious foyer makes it easy to grab refreshments during intermission.
Quite a new theatre situated in a fabulous location - close to Tower Bridge, and just a ten minute walk along the river from London Bridge Station. I visited here a couple of weeks ago to watch Richard II - which was excellent. The theatre was easy to find, and I was really impressed with how spacious, yet welcoming, the theatre was. I was equally impressed with the great choice of hot and cold drinks (as well as snacks) available at the bar. Preordering my drink for during the interval was easy to do online, and saved having to queue. Plenty of bathrooms, and there is also a cloakroom available. But bear in mind you might be waiting for quite some time to collect your belongings after the show. I opted to keep my belongings with me, and there was plenty of room underneath my seat to keep my bag. Seating was comfortable and definitely much more spacious than other theatres I’ve visited. All the staff I encountered were super friendly, and very helpful. Looking forward to returning to see another show in the near future.
Caroline F — Google review
Richard II at the Bridge Theatre was exceptional. Even without being a Shakespeare fan, the story was clear, compelling, and easy to follow. Every single cast member was extraordinary!Jonathan Bailey delivered a phenomenal performance, capturing Richard’s vulnerability and complexity — just superb! The production also balanced emotional depth with well-timed comedic moments, adding just the right touch of levity. We sat in A59-60 — comfortable seats, and though I was initially worried they’d be too close, they were perfect. The Bridge Theatre is a lovely, relatively new addition to London’s theatre scene — modern, comfortable, and just a short walk from Tower Bridge or London Bridge stations, with gorgeous views of Tower Bridge. Definitely one of my favorite theaters.
Sara M — Google review
Located just off Tower Bridge, the Bridge Theatre is a modern venue with stylish lighting and a clean, contemporary design. However, our visit on the 21st of June—on a sweltering 31°C day—was marred by a significant issue: there was no proper air conditioning. Only a single portable unit was in place, with visible piping trailing out the door, which did little to cool the space. The theatre features an impressive 360° seating arrangement with a large central platform that can be raised or lowered depending on the performance. While visually striking, the stage felt surprisingly distant from many of the seated areas, including ours (Seats A47 and A48), despite being relatively close. The best views were reserved for the “pit” audience, who stood for the entire two-hour performance — a challenging option in the heat. Our seats were at an awkward diagonal angle, making leg placement uncomfortable and the space tight when others needed to pass through. The overall experience was made worse by the lack of climate control — we were visibly sweating throughout the performance. It was unexpectedly uncomfortable for such a modern theatre, especially when compared to some of the much older West End venues that had excellent air conditioning on similarly hot days. ⸻ Overall: A sleek and innovative venue let down by poor temperature control and a less-than-ideal seating layout. On a hot day, be prepared for an uncomfortably warm experience — surprising for a newer theatre in London.
Travelling D — Google review
I had to move my date of going to the show so I had to phone up and the staff on the phone are incredibly nice and helped me so well. Once at the venue the staff are so polite and helpful. There bars spaced out so it's not crowded. The show Lady Of The Sea was amazing from start to finish. The acting was incredible.
Terry F — Google review
We saw Richard ll here with Jonathan Bailey. I totally recommend seeing if you have a chance! Cozy theater and always has amazing productions.Last year we saw Guys and Dolls. Can’t wait to come back and see more productions in the future. As well as many photo options outside the theater with a view of the London Bridge.

Went to see the show on Saturday night. Our first time at the Bridge Theatre and our first time seeing a show that wasn't a musical. Loved Andrew Lincoln since Teachers so when this came out, off we went. Didn't know anything about the play or it's history. We aren't massive theatre snobs either so we went completely open minded. Blown away from start to end. Like a good book, hooked on every word and emotion from the cast. Had a great laugh too and we felt like we were in their world too, living each moment with the cast thanks to the immersiveness of the stage production. Our seats were so close to the stage, we loved every minute and you could see this reflected in the actors too. And being Andrew Lincoln fans, it was so surreal seeing him on stage. I think we loved it more because you could see bits of Simon and Rick throughout the play, which bought it home for us from TV to real life. Looking forward to Andrews next adventure, hopefully he will be on stage closer to home next time. We love you Simon Casey!

I went to The Bridge Theatre with friends to see Guys and Dolls a musical made famous by the film starring Frank Sinatra. The musical used moving stages that moved up and down for each scene. The audience had the option of being next to the stage performance but had to remain standing for the full performance. Prior to the start of the performance some cast members acted as patrons at Mindy's Cafe to give a flavour of the performance. We arrived early but the bar was fully stocked and drinks had names related to the characters and venues. The foyer is spacious and open but the hot food is limited so get there early if you haven't had a meal beforehand. I would recommend both Guys and Dolls and the theatre for a good night out.

A Modern Gem of a Theatre The Bridge Theatre is a bit out of the way from the Tube, but don't let that stop you. The walk along the river, with views of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, is one of the best strolls in London. It's almost worth going just for that! We saw "Guys and Dolls" here - fantastic show, though heads up, it's a long one at nearly 3 hours. We opted for seats rather than the standing "immersive" experience, and I'm glad we did. The seats are super comfy, and I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed running around the rising platforms for that long. But hey, if you're up for an adventure, go for it! The theatre itself is sleek and modern - a refreshing change from some of the older West End venues. The sound and staging were top-notch, and (in my opinion) there wasn't a bad seat in the house. My tips: - Guys and Dolls - Book seats if you want comfort, standing if you're feeling adventurous and allow plenty of time - shows can be long. - Enjoy the walk there - it's part of the experience (so get there early and there are plenty of places to eat and drink before the show). - Check out the bar before the show - great atmosphere I'm already looking forward to catching more shows here. It's not just a theatre, it's a whole evening out in one of London's coolest spots. Definitely worth a visit, even if you're not a regular theatre-goer.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of 'Wicked The Musical,' a captivating tale that delves into the untold story of the Witches of Oz. This beloved Broadway production unveils a new perspective on The Wizard of Oz, following Elphaba, who is not as wicked as she seems. Alongside her best friend Glinda, they navigate through school and the events that lead to their iconic roles.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Wicked is absolutely magical! The music, the costumes, and the performances were breathtaking. The story had me hooked from start to finish, and the chemistry between Elphaba and Glinda was unforgettable. A must-see musical that stays with you long after the final curtain!"

Costumes design is fantastic. Beautiful voices. Tickets are included with citi Explorer pass. Value is up to 45 GBP. But for this price you will get not the best seats. When in Tickets office ask about upgrade seating. You will need to pay price difference.

It was probably around the time when the main musical cast was performing. The show was truly impressive, beautifully done, and full of joy. The stage design, set, and orchestra were all excellent — every bit as good as any other top musical production. Perhaps because it was the school holidays, there seemed to be even more children than usual, but everyone was completely engaged throughout. It was a wonderful performance, and I plan to watch it again next time from better seats. During the intermission, the person selling ice cream shared a helpful tip: every Wednesday at 10 a.m., you can book tickets for seats right at the front through the Wicked website for £30. I hope this is useful for anyone looking for cheaper tickets. However, he mentioned that those seats are very close to the speakers and stage, so the sound can feel quite strong, and it might be a bit hard to take in the whole stage view at once — something to keep in mind. One unfortunate downside was the toilets. The Wicked theatre seemed larger than most other venues, but oddly, the toilets were located just off the aisles beside the seating area and there weren’t enough of them for the audience size. Because of that, even after the intermission ended, many people couldn’t finish using the toilets in time. About five to seven minutes into the second act, people were still returning to their seats, causing others to stand up mid-performance to let them through — it was quite disruptive. A real shame.

Amazing experience for both adults and children. We have great seats in the front row which can see actors face expressions clearly, all of them are so professional and makes us in tears of the moving parts. Stage design, costumes, music and lightning, performance all high quality.

Brilliant, pick your seat wisely. The bars are not accommodating and the seating outside of the theatre are not great. The seats are good but the cast barely look up at the dress circle. The performances are out of this world. We watched a lot of the under studies. Honestly, they were phenomenal! Bit disappointed with the service and staff in the venue. The cast are second to none.

I've been to this venue and show 3 times! I have no words for the show, it's by far my favourite! What a production and what talent! A must watch!! The theatre is very spacious, it has multiple bars, no long queues and comfy seats(but if you're very tall don't expect reclining chairs experience :p, it's an old theatre).

"Moulin Rouge! The Musical" is a jukebox musical that tells the story of Christian, a young writer who falls in love with cabaret dancer Satine. The show features modern music and has received praise for its fantastic actors and engaging storyline. Audience members have enjoyed the vibrant theater atmosphere, complete with drinks and snacks available during intermission. The set design has been described as stunning, adding to the overall spectacular experience.
What a great show. Didn't have a clue about the show, and this made it even better. The scenery for each Act was brilliant, my favourite scene/act was when they were drinking and the liquid was a bright green and as they poured it into the glass it showed up. I sat in the grand circle Block D even tho at times I leaned forward to see what was going on at the front it wasn't a problem. Did got a bit cold during the show.

I absolutely loved the theatre décor – it was stunning and truly set the mood. I was in awe the moment I walked in and, of course, couldn’t resist taking tons of pictures. A real highlight was that the actors came on stage before the show even began. We were allowed to take photos and videos during that moment, which was so unusual compared to other theatre productions I’ve been to – and I loved it! The opening of the play was electric – full of energy, vibrant singing, and lively dancing that had the whole audience buzzing. Unfortunately, that energy didn’t last. The show quickly shifted into slower, more melancholic numbers, which made it feel more sad than joyful. I was a bit disappointed that the excitement and sparkle from the beginning didn’t carry through the entire performance.

Moulin rouge was amazing! The songs, actors and show were all fantastic and the outfits were just fabulous. The theatre is done out really well, with the decor in the theatre making you feel like you are inside the moulin rouge. We loved the preshow dancing and also thought it was awesome you could preorder interval drinks!

Great show, stunning staging and costumes, so many songs we all know and great fun. We got last minute tickets, 3 rows from the front, £50 each. They bring drinks and snacks to your seats too- barcode there when you sit down. Great fun, you can't help but smile!

Fabulous experience, I had the time of my life, funny, sexy, deep, nice love story, amazing voices and acting, great dancers. Worth the money once in a life. Paid £90 per person on seat 29 and 30, row B, great view, plenty leg space, atmosphere 10/10. Thank you to the great artist which played in the musical, you got my heart forever x

Saw this for the 2nd time today, it's such a brilliant show. The set looks so good the lighting and staging is brilliant. The songs choices are really fun, and I was especially impressed with the voice of the male lead. Me and my mum loved it. You can also get food and drink delivered to your seat which saves queing at the bar.

I’m not really a theater fan, but my wife is, so we go to a few plays each year. Moulin Rouge was probably one of my least favorite ones we’ve seen recently. It was very loud, the seats weren’t particularly comfortable, and I found the story pretty weak. On the upside, the dancing was excellent, the actors were clearly talented, and the set design was impressive. Still, in hindsight, I wish I’d skipped this one.

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit scared but luckily none of them seemed to be true. We were welcomed in the bar where we received our cocktail and even a refill while listening to some live performances. Then we were guided to our table where the champagne stood ready on ice. The waiter made sure our glasses were never empty, the food came at a good pace and was very good and the show was the best of all with lots of variation, excellent singers and great dancers. We had a lovely time!

A spectacular night of vibrant entertainment and delicious dining! I recently attended The London Cabaret Club’s Copacabana, and it truly lived up to its promise of being the hottest party in town. From the moment we arrived, we were transported into a dazzling carnival atmosphere, complete with exotic décor, colourful showgirls, and an electric samba beat that set the tone for the night. We enjoyed tropical cocktails on the beach terrace before heading into The Ballroom, where the incredible Latin band and spectacular dancers, dressed in vivid feathers, brought Rio de Janeiro’s energy right to the heart of London. The performances were high-energy, engaging, and beautifully choreographed – we couldn’t stop smiling. The Brazilian-inspired menu was just as impressive. My scallop starter was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, while my wife’s watermelon with dragon fruit, smoked feta, and crispy corn was light, refreshing, and beautifully presented. For mains, we both had the Stone Bass, which was perfectly seared and paired wonderfully with the sides. We couldn’t resist trying both desserts, the Tres de Leche and the Chocolate Aero Mousse, and both were absolutely delicious, the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The evening didn’t end there; the afterparty kept the energy going, with lively music and plenty of dancing. The staff were warm and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Would I return? Absolutely! The combination of world-class entertainment, vibrant atmosphere, and outstanding food makes this a must-visit summer event in London.

Drinks were good and the show was excellent. However, when it came time to pay, I asked the service if there was a service charge (as is with most dine in places in England). The server responded no. I added 15% to our bill. However, the final total was not adding up to me and I asked for an itemized receipt. The server stuttered and hesitated before saying he could get one. I received the receipt. Not only was there a service charge, they put my tip as a purchased line item and then service charged my tip. After pulling the server and manager aside, the manager refunded my tip and offered to refund the service charge. I chose to leave the service charge as the other servers were working hard running food and drinks. I didn’t feel they should be punished for his poor choices. Just beware of this when you go. I hope it was isolated and not something practiced throughout.

"Stranger Things: The First Shadow" is a new play expanding the Stranger Things universe, featuring a story by the Duffer Brothers and written by Kate Trefry and Jack Thorne. This prequel to the events in Hawkins, Indiana is backed by Netflix, marking its first venture into theatre. The production boasts stellar acting and impressive special effects, providing an immersive experience for fans of the show.
Amazing production, thoroughly enjoyed the special effects 🎭. Booked in advance on Todaytix with some discount for my birthday, the dress circle has great views. The staff especially one person who went above and beyond was so accommodating making sure I felt comfortable due to my mobility issues and took me to my seat. Came to check that I was ok at interval and after the show. It was great that we could have our drinks and snacks delivered to our seats that helps out so much being able to pre order. This theatre having a lift and accessible toilets on the ground floor and on the dress circle made my experience much more comfortable, amazing this theatre has it.

Stranger Things was great. It was an awesome prelude to the TV show, this is a must see for all fans. Theater was a little warm, but they gave complimentary water. Snacks were good and reasonably priced. Jumbo cookies were 3.00 or two for 4.00 pounds that’s a no brainer. Enjoy

True immersive stage experience, one of the best shows I have ever seen in London. It’s the official prequel to Netflix’s global phenomenon and I think it’s a must see spectacle. I love the mind-blowing stagecraft, telekinetic effects, eerie puppetry that really push theatrical boundaries. I was really impressed with the chilling effects that created in the live show. Actors were all outstanding, especially the one who played Henry Creel, absolutely sensational.

The production was awesome — super fresh and full of wow moments! The cast and the story totally kept me hooked. Such a fun and amazing show, huge thanks!

This was even better than the Harry Potter theatre piece(s). The story is tight and very well told, all the characters are engaging and superbly acted, the special effects were super cool. The whole audience went nuts with excitement :-) It helps to be a fan of the show to catch all the references and recognize the characters, but it would be a great experience even if you only know the plot approximately. Highly recommended!
A D — Google review
As a Stranger Things fan, this show is a really mixed bag for me. Though I seem to be in the minority here. Visually, this is one of, if not the best, stage shows I’ve ever seen in my life. The way they blend real sets with screens is absolutely seamless and incredibly impressive. As for the story, I wasn’t a big fan. I don’t see many reasons why this part of Henry Creel/Vecna’s story needed to be told before the final season, especially since it reveals a lot we already know from Season 4. The show also feels about 20 minutes too long, and the pacing is pretty atrocious at times. This is mostly due to the side plot with Hopper, Joyce, and Bob. While it’s fun to see familiar faces again, and the actors do feel like believable younger versions of the characters we know, their storyline just isn’t that engaging compared to Henry’s. It also feels tonally inconsistent with the rest of the play. At times, the production is dark, gruesome, and genuinely scary, like a proper horror story brought to the stage. But the next minute, people are dancing, singing, and cracking high school jokes. The show struggles to find the fine balance that the TV series does so well between fun, nostalgic mystery and horror. In my eyes, it’s not really a must-see before the final season, but maybe that will change once the last season releases and they tie some elements from the stage show into it.
Tim B — Google review
I took my family to see this brilliant show during Christmas and all, adults and fussy teenagers, enjoyed watching it a lot. The special effects were top notch, had me questioning numerous times what was real and what was done with projections. Personally, I think this is an underestimated play and I wish it was as popular as Harry Potter next door, as when comparing them both, it is 1:0 to Stranger Things for me.
Magdalena — Google review
An absolutely brilliant show – the light and sound effects were incredible. The actors did an outstanding job. The show is even somewhat immersive, with effects and moments where the cast moves through the audience. We had a really great time. The seats are comfortable, and there’s plenty of legroom for people of average height. Just be aware that from some seats, parts of the stage are obscured by the balconies.

Operation Mincemeat Musical is a new show taking the West End by storm, following the long-standing success of The Woman in Black. This sharp-witted comedy delves into the real-life WWII operation that outsmarted Hitler with a well-dressed corpse. Despite its unusual premise, audiences are raving about this hilarious and cleverly written musical. The talented cast seamlessly portrays multiple characters while delivering brilliant songs filled with puns and reflective moments.
Absolutely incredible across the board. It joins my favorite play short list along with The Producers and Book of Mormon. Great story, amazing dramatic and musical numbers. Awesome production design. Massive talent!

Such a boring show. Really don’t get why it’s been so overly hyped. Actors are fantastic, but I truly don’t get what people liked about it. Was nothing new or special, the gender swap thing has been done many times before. All the songs were repetitive and forgettable. The theatre is an awful space in serious need of a revamp. Get better facilities & people stop hyping up bad shows! Should’ve stayed at the fringe tbh

Had a fun day out to the London's West End to see 'Tina - The Musical' at the Aldwych theatre as it was in its final weeks of showing before the curtains closed on it in London. Super glad I did. This 5star rating is purely for the magical, amazing performance I experienced of Tina Turner the Musical on 3rd September!! I can easily say it was the best theatre show I have ever watched. It was such a deep, powerful and emotional experience; it surpassed my expectations! I truly regret not seeing it sooner (now that it’s ending on 13th September 😭) I would happily go again and again and recommend anyone else who hasn’t seen it, to hurry to get the same experience before it’s gone forever! However the seating I chose (Dress Circle Row A) had very tight leg room for my mum and the person sitting next to me (who had arthritis), some of the stage was also obstructed, resulted in the whole row having to lean forward to see particular parts of the show, so be mindful when selecting your seats. Some staff was quite rigid and unfriendly, but the majority were great! Also the snack prices were quite steep but to expected for the area. The ending of the show was so electric, contagious and genuine feel good tingly vibes, with everyone singing and vibing together! I’m also delighted that I got to experience Fleur East as Tina, she done a PHENOMENAL job singing and bringing Tina’s story to life!!

Just saw Tina: The Tina Turner Musical tonight, and I absolutely loved it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Last year, when I was in London, I wanted to see it but didn’t get the chance, so I ended up watching Moulin Rouge instead. That one was incredible, probably the best musical I’ve ever seen. 🤩 Tina was a completely different experience. Since I had watched her biography documentary, I felt connected to the story from start to finish. The cast was outstanding, especially the lead—she didn’t just sing like Tina, she really looked and moved like her too. Her vocals were powerful, and she had the energy to match, dancing and hitting every high note effortlessly. She must be incredibly fit to pull that off! 😄 I’d give it a solid 5/5. If you’re in London, go see it before it ends this September—it’s been running for seven years, and it’s worth every moment.🥰

Visited Here to see Moulin Rouge on Thursday 25th September 2025 and the show was fantastic. The costumes were brilliant the acting, singing the glitz and glam were fabulous. However my only problem which is why it wasn't 5 starts is that although I'm not a female (I'm a male) the queue for the female toilet were form the entrance to the bar to the point I had to play doorman and let the women into the men's toilet 1 by 1 I think they should make more stalls for the women overall 9/10

The theatre performance of Moulin Rouge was absolutely stunning! Right from the moment we arrived in the theatre, with the subdued red lighting, the mood was set. Some members of the cast ‘circulated’ on and off the stage, stretching and gently teasing the audience of thrills to come…. The acting and singing were excellent, with a script that kept you engrossed in the story. Another highlight was the scenery and very clever scene changes, that prompted the question “how did they do that?”!!! Go and see this show - it has certainly made my year!!! By the way, you were allowed to take photos up until the show actually started.

Absolutely Spectacular! Moulin Rouge is a MUST-SEE! 💃 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of seeing Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre in October 2025 and was completely blown away. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The performance itself was simply outstanding! It's an incredibly fun and funny show, bursting with energy. The absolute best part for me was the brilliant use of contemporary pop songs. I was so delighted to hear modern hits woven perfectly into the story. Hearing everything from Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" to iconic tracks from Taylor Swift and Britney Spears was a genius touch. 🎶🎤 It's impossible not to get swept up in the energy and sing along! The Piccadilly Theatre is a beautiful, classic venue. It's an older theatre, which gives it a wonderful, historic charm that perfectly complements the lavish, bohemian setting of the show. Overall, it was a phenomenal night out. The show is a feast for the senses with brilliant performances and a killer soundtrack. I can't recommend it highly enough!

I will definitely be going to see the show again the cast were absolutely amazing with fantastic voices the songs are amazing. I recommend going to see this show you can’t take videos of the ending but you can take pictures in the pre show as all the cast come on to the stage one by one . Well worth getting the can can seats .

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre is a charming outdoor venue that offers an annual summer program featuring Shakespeare plays, kids' shows, classics, and musicals. With a seating capacity of over 1,200 in its open-air auditorium, it provides an intimate yet spacious setting for live productions. This historic theatre has been a cultural hub since 1932 and continues to be one of the most exciting attractions in London during the summer season.
We bought some last minute tickets (on TodayTix) to see "Shucked" at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, and honestly, any seat will give you a good view of the stage. . It's a great musical (all about corn) that we originally saw on Broadway in New York a few years ago. It's funny, entertaining, and has you engaged from start to finish. We enjoyed this production just as much as we did on Broadway! This was our first time at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, and I was greatly impressed. The staff were great, and the price reasonable. In the venue itself, the seats are a little hard, and it can get a little chilly after the sun goes down. My suggestion...bring a little blanket. You can sit on it to make the seat more comfortable, and if you get cold you can wrap it around yourself. In general, I found the venue to be fully accessible (I have mobility issues), with disabled parking nearby. In my opinion, there venue is suitable for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues. I would suggest seats in row J for wheelchair users and for anyone who needs more legroom (though perhaps double check with the venue). It is an open air theatre, so make sure to check the weather and dress appropriately. Shucked is currently on until the 14th June 2025, and we'd highly recommend seeing it. Our seats were great, and they only cost £30 each for via Rush tickets on the app. It was a lovely way to spend the evening with my beau. 🌽😍🥰🌽

Absolutely loved this venue, first time to see Noughts and Crosses. Great venue, Baker Street probably the best station. Beautiful theatre, with a bar, pizza ovens, restaurant. Great setting but there is no cover at all so go prepared for the weather conditions. We were so lucky with the weather as an hour prior to the start it had been pouring with rain. All the seats are pretty good to be honest. Will definitely go and see other productions there. Excellent customer service from staff too.
Julie G — Google review
The theatre is about a 10-minute walk from either Baker Street Station or Regent’s Park Station. At the moment, York Bridge is shut, so the most direct route is closed. This means you’ll need to take a longer, more scenic diversion that passes over a bridge across the water. On arrival, there’s a bag check at the entrance. The ground level has a spacious area for food and drinks, along with a covered, elevated dining section with seating. Both areas are pleasant, though—as expected—drinks come with the usual markup. We tried the pizzas, which were disappointing, with far too much cheese and generally below average. Being an open-air venue, it’s worth remembering that it can get chilly in the evening. Our show finished around 10 pm, and with temperatures dropping to about 15°C, many people in shorts looked quite uncomfortable. Bringing a light jacket or blanket is definitely advisable. The main downside of the venue was the toilets. During the interval, the queues were extremely long, with clearly inadequate facilities for the size of the audience. There was only one unisex accessible toilet, plus men’s and women’s toilets, and at one point women were being directed through the men’s facilities. After the show, queues for the men’s toilets were again very significant. Exiting the venue was also a bit confusing. At the end of the performance, everyone was directed out through a different exit. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, this could leave you disoriented—especially since York Bridge, the most direct route, is still shut. Overall, it’s a lovely summer theatre experience with a great atmosphere, but be prepared for the evening chill, limited toilet facilities, and a slightly confusing journey home.

Charming venue hosting a variety of productions through summer. Watched "Brigadoon" here, which was light hearted and fun. The staff are very courteous and manage the entry/ scanning/ etc efficiently. Toilet and bike parking facility available within the venue. Quite a few dining options but hot food has to be ordered and consumed well before the show. Would love to return (of course the weather is always a lottery!)

Oh, what a treat this place is!! I loved every minute of my first visit there and I’m sure I’ll be back for more. Very well organized. The sound was fantastic (and I am picky about it). The selection of food and drinks is great. The area itself is magnificent!! The facilities are well-maintained and clean. What a wonderful night I had at your beautiful venue and I certainly shall return for more

This venue provides such a beautiful and memorable experience. Despite its Central London location, it masterfully creates the feeling of a luxurious countryside retreat, complete with excellent bars and inviting seating areas. The theatre experience is outstanding, captivating guests with its natural light, immersive sounds, and scenic views.

A very interesting place to visit, surrounded by nature and greenery. Upon entering the venue, you can buy merchandise, food and drink, there were covered seated areas. The upper seats are very good to see the stage, even with people seated in front of you. As it is an open air theatre in the UK with unpredictable British weather you may get wet whilst watching a show - it happened to us! The show was stopped and we were called to wait under the covered area, where they sold food and drink. Unfortunately at this time the bar were unable to serve any customers. Overall, a wonderful place to visit.

I’ve seen 2 shows here and they were both incredible! It’s such an experience. There’s lovely food before hand so arrive early! We had a fair bit of rain the first time (see the video) but was able to get through the performance with a few brief pauses. The show was still INCREDIBLE and we were able to get through it. The second time we had lovely weather. We will be back again this year and I can’t wait.

Vaudeville Theatre, a Victorian-era establishment dating back to 1870, offers a diverse range of performances including new plays, comedies, revivals, and musicals. One of its recent highlights is 'Six: The Musical,' a vibrant production celebrating girl power with music and lyrics by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. While the venue provides comfortable seating and friendly staff, some visitors have noted limited space for taller or plus-size individuals as well as potential proximity concerns during social distancing measures.
Came to see Six with my daughter and it didn't disappoint. From walking through the bag check, ticket scanning, bar and merch, all staff were so friendly. The show was amazing. The theatre was more intimate than some of the bigger venues which made it like a personal performance plus the views from our seats were perfect.
Amy W — Google review
Very nice theatre. Seats are cramped though and there's not much legroom at the top (grand circle). Also with the layout, if you have someone in front of you, they will block a large portion of the stage with their head...
Medium R — Google review
I saw SIX at the Vaudeville Theatre. It was really easy to get to on the Tube, 5min walk from Charing Cross Station. Only downside was the toilets…never enough for women…and the gender neutral toilets were so tiny two people couldn’t walk in and out at the same time!
Suzanne G — Google review
Theatre is smaller than I was expecting, there is no interval if you’re watching Six so the seats become a little uncomfortable towards the end. We sat on the second row of the stalls which was possibly a little too close to the stage. If we were to visit this theatre again we’d sit further back. Leaving takes a while also as the venue only opens one door, meaning everyone in the stalls is filing out together through the same single exit point. The show was not what I expected, the singing was phenomenal and I found two of the songs exceptional. There is no set change and the plot is a little thin. I wouldn’t watch it again.
Miss N — Google review
Saw SIX at this theatre and really enjoyed it! Could dress up or wear what you had on to sightsee for the day. They allowed me to bring my water bottle and snacks into the theatre. Sat in the back half of the stalls on the first level and the top of the set was obstructed by upper level. Still had a great view of the performers though! Seats were spacious and staggered so taller patrons in front didn't completely obstruct the view.
Karen K — Google review
Lovely little theatre, watching from the stalls (row K) was the perfect distance from the stage. We were there for a performance of SIX which is more of a pop concert than a theatrical performance but nonetheless fabulous entertainment. The seats are small but comfortable for even my large frame. Sound quality is very good, but consider ear plugs to attenuate the volume if you are attending a loud show. We arrived close to the start of the performance so did not manage to find the bar.

We saw Six - it was a brilliant show. Great music and performers, really high tempo and lively. The theatre itself - well, do you value the bottle or the wine within?

When in England … see a musical about Henry the 8th!!! Fun Entertaining Incredible vocalists All female cast / band - spectacular. The storyline is fun and the characters tell the stories using pop culture artists (suggestion look it up before you go so you can easily identify the musical references) They allow you to video the last little bit .. I have added it here if you are interested in a little snippet. Have a blast!

Nestled in the heart of London, the Young Vic is a vibrant theatre that has earned its reputation as a nurturing ground for emerging talent. This dynamic venue, which opened its doors in 1970 on the site of an old bakery, has become synonymous with innovative productions and thought-provoking performances. Currently showcasing a fresh revival of Lillian Hellman's classic play 'The Little Foxes,' featuring Anne-Marie Duff, audiences can expect an intense exploration of themes like greed and betrayal.
One of the lesser known theatres in London, however, it generally has great productions, and 'A Face on the Crowd' is no exception. 2 fabulous leading actors with a great ensemble in support. A modern take on fame and media infamy that some of the current generation of people wanting to be famous for being famous 'social media stars' could learn that it's not always nirvana. Awesome bar and restaurant if you have time before the show.

Appreciated getting tickets to see The little foxes a few months ago through the neighbourhood theatre scheme. As a theatre venue, it's good there is a quiet room to decompress for a bit. Also, accommodating of accessibility needs, including a lift and accessible toilet. However, my experience was not good, and I went to a relaxed performance being my first time. The audience member sitting in front of me complained of my movements of eating and drinking, despite people near me doing the exact same thing and coughing, etc, no one bothered them. 3 times this person and I believe partner, turned around to complain couldn't hear performance. I then replied with, it's a relaxed performance and was left alone after. I did want to leave the theatre but stuck through it and used the quiet room after. I felt singled out with my friend and was upset about this situation that I felt I couldn't fully enjoy the performance, especially being neurodivergent. We need places that are accommodating and understanding for all disabilities and people to understand what a relaxed performance means. I've been to many theatre shows, eating and drinking during and after an interval like many people do, and I've never had an issue before. I do appreciate having email responses from the theatre and they are informing colleagues in various departments on how they can further improve the communication to audience members to ensure everybody knows that not only is the performance relaxed, but what it actually means to be relaxed. I would come back again if I get offered another ticket through the scheme. I wouldn't be willing to see a performance and pay because of the experience I had caused me immense anxiety.

Entertaining Mr Sloane — Young Vic, October - 8th November 2025. I was always going to see this. Couldn’t not, really—it felt like fate. Entertaining Mr Sloane has been knocking about in my head for a long time, years infact. I first got introduced to Joe Orton’s work in the sixth form while doing my A-levels, and it was the first play I ever worked on at drama school, all the way back in the,- in the 90’s !! Seeing it again now— 3 ? decades on, in Nadia Fall’s sharp revival at the Young Vic—was like bumping into an old mate who’s gone darker, funnier, and a whole lot more unsettling with age. I found myself trying to, well – remember ! - fumbling through the memory like, “I know you from somewhere... where’s it been again?”—just like Kemp in the play, trying to locate that hazy connection that’s stuck somewhere in the past. Then boom, it stabbed me like a fork in the leg. This detailed piece —a play where charm curls into cruelty, and politeness is just a mask for perversion. The play’s sheer masterclass in manipulation and humour, the way good manners just cover up something, - something a bit, absolutely feral. ( for want of another word). Orton’s characters might be from the 1960 time capsule, but their greed, their evasions, and their excuses for themselves feel, - well, feel current. Nadia’s direction leans right into both the comedy and the decay, reminding you why Orton’s stuff has always had a bite to it for anyone who dared to look. Nowhere to Hide The staging in the round is what really changes it. With the audience encircling the action, there’s absolutely nowhere for the characters to hide—every lie, every flicker of lust or malice, is laid bare right there under the shared glare, the shared experience ! Sit with the uncomfortable. “Sit down dear, make yourself comfortable.” But the exposure works both ways. We, the audience, are dragged in too, made utterly, well - complicit. You’re looking right through the person opposite to watch the cruelty unfold in the centre, becoming guilty spectators to Sloane’s scheme, the household’s rot, and eventually, to the quiet horror of his end. Up above, the suspended trauma charred furniture just seems to watch silently, its old and frayed edges bearing witness to this repeating human loop—betrayal, desire, violence—as if it’s seen the whole cycle countless times before. The design traps everyone—actors, audience, and old furniture alike—in a single suffocating room where politeness is just a performance and cruelty is shared. Then there’s the lighting, visceral, unforgettable. Strobe flashes punch through key moments like a flashlight going off, freezing gestures and expressions in fragmented snatches. The effect is hypnotic: each pulse seems to time-stamp the violence right into your mind, printing it there for later. It makes you think of our modern obsession with catching moments on our phones, a flash illuminating the scene for self-examination later on. Hours later, you can still see the images when you blink—Sloane’s face, Kath’s hands, the shock of the “stop motion” arrested mid-air. The slow-motion quality of the strobe turns the theatre into an echo of memory, making sure what you witness isn’t easily shrugged off. The humour starts out deceptively light, then gradually shifts into something else—the laughter becoming uneasy as you sense the manipulation getting deeper. The performances absolutely thrive on the tonal shift . Kath’s mix of motherliness and pure lust is uncomfortable yet horribly human; she doesn’t want to endure the long loneliness anymore, Ed’s smug moral superiority is just a flimsy cover for his own urges. And Sloane—hanging between victim and – well villain is the word. The suspended charcoal grey charred furniture above and around seems to twist and strain in mid-air, echoing the tangled, uncomfortable entanglements of the characters below—their desires, fears, and cruelties squashed together in this tiny, choking space.

The best venue! Super theatre consistently in such an intimate space. I love supporting off West End theatres that treat customers well too. We had to cancel for tonight as couldn't get in with an incident on the line and they were so kind to help us exchange for another night.

Food it horrible! I give The Cut 1 start because the waiter/manager was nice and tables upstairs are nice and cosy. The prawns were such a horrible texture and smelled terrible. Looks like they have been frozen for months and just before served defrosted in microwave then quickly fried. They tried cover up and sink them into 1 litre of some kind of curry sauce. It says in the menu: Fresh Atlantic prawns, garlic, chilli, parsley, butter, white wine, lemon, monk’s beard. In fact no bread ,no chilli/garlic but some weird sauce drowning 4 prawns. They did swap it for Chicken Milanese as I asked to change it, however the chicken was horrible too, it was double fried, and impossible to cut/chew into. Chips for kids was OK, LOL. Burger my husband ate was ok too, he was hungry I guess. Anyway I would not recommend this place for food. Maybe only come here for drinks and theatre, which are expensive for the area.

Really lovely theatre. Bar staff is lovely but the front of house folks have a real paniced energy to them. The sight-lines for Ohio were so bad so I could only see their backs, no one had thought to block those seats or warned me which meant that I didn’t see the show. I would be mindful of that before coming to this theatre.

I took public transit (for what seemed like forever) to get to the Royal Court Theatre, on the off-chance I could snag a ticket to the sold-out play, Giant. I didn’t get a ticket, but I learned how to get my name on a list if a single ticket came up and ….voila, a ticket for the following day’s matinee! Brilliant system! Well worth it play was marvellous. The staff is brilliant, and I think they serve the cheapest gin & tonic in London during the interval. So glad I got here!

I really enjoyed my night out at the Royal Court Theatre at Sloane Square. It’s a fantastic spot if you’re into new, thought-provoking plays. The theatre has a cool, intimate vibe—nothing too flashy, but you can tell it’s all about the storytelling. Seats are comfy and the sightlines are great, even in the smaller upstairs space. It’s super easy to get to, literally right next to Sloane Square tube. The bar and café inside are nice too—decent prices, friendly staff, and a chilled atmosphere that doesn’t feel overly “theatre-y.” Great place to grab a drink before or after the show. What I love most is that the Royal Court supports new writers and original voices—you often see work here you won’t find anywhere else in London. If you're bored of the usual West End stuff and want something fresh and smart, definitely check this theatre out.

I went to see Katie Mitchell’s “Cow|Deer” today with a group of my fellow students. The play itself is an interesting concept. I am not here to review the play, but an incident which completely ruined my entire experience with one of the actors, Pandora Colin. I had (very quietly, and very infrequently, maybe once or twice throughout the sixty minute show) chuckled a bit under my breath because some of the sounds were a bit funny; it was not a malicious laugh, but a normal reaction from an audience member in a theatre setting. I also have a slight cough, but was careful to be as quiet as possible. I was not at all disruptive and the people sitting next to me didn’t even bat an eye. Immediately after the show ended, one of the women who performed (whose name is Pandora Colin, I later found out) came up to me, put her finger in my face, and began shouting about how I was so rude and disruptive and distracting. She continued on for about one minute, and I tried to explain to her that I meant absolutely no disrespect towards her or her fellow cast members, but she wouldn’t have it and stormed off. Thankfully, the ushers told me that they would report her, so I hope that someone will explain to her that her behaviour was incredibly unprofessional, especially towards a child who very clearly meant no harm. The one star is for the kind ushers, nothing else. I will never be coming back to this theatre and I suggest nobody else does as well.

"The Book of Mormon" is a comedic musical created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the minds behind South Park. The story follows two missionaries sent to a remote Ugandan village to spread the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. With its all-singing, all-dancing nature and tongue-in-cheek humor, it's not for the easily offended or devoutly religious.
Just arrived London from Utah and when we noticed this musical, we were all in. We decided to go, and opted for the cheap seats in the nose bleed section. The fantastic cashier upgraded us to front section seats at no additional charge! And we were so stoked. What an amazing play! The actors were so, amazing! Never been to a play where the choreography was so crisp, spot on, and professional!! A must see for anyone that loves pure entertainment and not easily offended. We were singing the ding dong song for weeks afterwards. I can't give more than a 5, but if I could, all those stars would be filled up. Thank You !!

The Book of Mormon is a funny and lively musical about two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to Uganda. Their hopeful attitude quickly clashes with the challenges of poverty, illness, and cultural differences, leading to a mix of misunderstandings and wild adventures. With catchy songs, sharp jokes, and high-energy performances, the show keeps audiences entertained while telling a unique story. Even though it makes fun of religion and missionary work, the musical also shares a hopeful message about belief, community, and finding meaning. Some of the humor can be shocking, but it’s balanced with heart and sincerity. Overall, The Book of Mormon is a bold, hilarious, and surprisingly uplifting theatre experience. We enjoyed the show .

The Book of Mormon was laugh-out-loud hilarious! Lots of borderline offensive jokes, especially for religious people or people of colour (such as myself), but it worked well with my humour. Loved Cunningham's character, and the songs were so catchy (especially Hello and Turn It Off). It is officially my 2nd favourite musical now.

We finally went to see The Book of Mormon after countless recommendations from our local friends and family—and we’re so glad we did! 🎭✨ It was hilarious from start to finish, with clever jokes, cute choreography, and a fantastic cast whose voices were absolutely incredible. Every character brought something unique to the stage, and the energy was infectious. If you’re in the mood for a light-hearted, cheeky night out, this play is the perfect pick. Definitely one of the funniest shows we’ve seen in a while! 👏😄🎶

If your offended easily then don't go. But this is pretty good. Big south park vibes as it's from the same creators. Offensive, crude, plays off of racial and religious stereotypes. Fun for most of the family. Bonus if you are a Mormon as I think there are a number of inside jokes.

***from reading other people's reviews it seems like they thought this musical was about the joys of believing in nonsense and it's not. It's written by two very well known offensive creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker the creators of South Park who grew up Mormon and now realize the ridiculousness of the religion. This play is offensive and seemingly racist because the Mormon religion was racist until about 1978 and it pokes fun at the ridiculous creation of Mormonism and their held beliefs. I'm not sure why people came to see this without knowing that and we're shocked by the performance but that's the point of this show. Perhaps this isn't something believers should see if they're not ready to have the hypocrisy, rasicm and religious colonizing of their beliefs put in their face. This was the best musical I've ever seen in my entire life. I have been begging, bothering and threatening my husband to go see this since it first came out years ago and somehow we always missed the opportunity so when my husband was coming to London for work he decided to get me to meet him and he took me here as a surprise. This show is so damn funny and mildly offensive so we loved it. Everyone from the ticket taker to the bartender in the theater was fantastic and it's always nice to have a couple drinks before a show. I would see this over and over again it's definitely a don't miss.

With stunning VFX and SFX stealing the spotlight, the stage adaptation of this timeless classic offers a modern twist while staying true to the beloved story.

What a great show !! I was a bit dubious on how they were going to adapt it. But they pulled it off. There were some changes that were different than the film but it worked. Brian Conally as the doc made the show, he was superb, just how he is on tv. The Adelphi theatre itself like most theatres need updating. The seats are so tight together and no legroom you cannot move. Price of drinks standard for where you are. A wine and bottle of beer is £20. Good view and sound within the theatre.

Hercules, formerly known as Tommy Flynns and then just Flynns, is a pub that made a significant shift to real ale by bringing back into use a handpump that had been dormant for many years. Despite this effort, the use of the handpump did not last. Additionally, it is difficult to find Hennessy locally, especially in smaller bottle sizes.
Hard to get hold of Hennessy locally let alone in a half size bottle. We rang around a few shops in the area to then speak to a lovely jolly lady on the phone who had what we were looking for.

Shakespeare's Globe is a reconstructed Elizabethan theater made of oak and thatch, where Shakespeare's plays are performed in the open air. It is located in London, near several famous landmarks such as Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and Buckingham Palace. Visiting this iconic theater can provide a unique opportunity to experience the stories behind Shakespeare's works and gain a new perspective on his writing style.
The Globe Tour and the play we attended were truly inspiring experiences. We embarked on a morning guided tour with the incredible Gabi, who illuminated the rich history of The Globe for us. Afterward, we savored a delightful brunch at a nearby Borough Market before returning for the show. Today, we watched The Merry Wives of Windsor, sharing a couple of glasses of wine along the way. Make sure to reserve a seat with a cushion for added comfort. And remember, you don’t have to ‘spend a penny’ to spend a penny!

Visiting Shakespeare's Globe was truly unforgettable. The open-air theatre brings Shakespeare’s plays to life with authenticity and vibrant performances. Sitting close to the stage, especially with a cushion, enhances the experience despite the wooden benches. The actors engage the audience brilliantly, creating a magical, immersive atmosphere. The guided tours also offer fascinating insights. A must-see for theatre lovers visiting London!

Fantastic venue! Very intimate and a perfect step back in time to the days of Shakespeare himself. Lots of helpful staff and a lovely shop, coffee shop too. Would recommend paying for cushions as the wooden benches are very hard and obviously no backs as a bench so could be uncomfortable if you have back issues. No negatives, brilliant place to visit - you won’t be disappointed!

The Twelfth Night was beyond incredible! The Actors were amazing, they were so engaging, funny & vibrant! It was an absolute delight to see such a diverse range of cultures playing such prominent parts, it fills me with joy & hope to also see disability inclusion & pride positivity! My visit to the globe in 1998 with my school started my love affair of Shakespeare & to finall return all these years later & to watch such a wonderful rendition has renewed my love & passion! Everyone from the staff & volunteers to the actors & venue itself were phenomenal & have filled my heart with pure happiness! Thank you! I will be back soon!

Restored Shakespeare's time theater. Great performance and amazing atmosphere. We took standing tickets, they are really cheap and close to the stage. The actors sometimes interact with public near the stage. In standing area there are also places you can lean on, and these are taken fast so come early. It is prohibited to shoot during the performance and they closely monitor that you follow. Overall amazing experience!

Tour guide review!! Had Tyler doing the tour guide, very informative and you could see from his speech that he loves what he was doing. He has Lots of references from plays and quite alot of stories to tell us about what happens in the plays.

Great experience at a reconstruction of an Elizabethan theatre. Superb costumes and performance, helpful staff and volunteers. We had a slightly restricted view (was expected) but the back row of a seating block is a good place. Remember to include a cushion when you book, or pay once you're there. If you go for standing in the bear pit remember you will get wet if it rains, we had a thunder storm during the performance. Should have taken a better look at the stage/set and the building when we arrived and it wasn't busy, it really is impressive.

Shakespeare globe is definitely an experience to remember! It has atmosphere, culture, entertainment and excitement. I love the way it transports you to the Shakespearen era. I loved the play, the music, and the dancing. My only complaint are the seats. Benches are too uncomfortable for me. My back is still hurting me 6 days later and yes I did have a cushion. Definitely worth going a bucket list experience in London!

The Savoy Theatre, a beautifully restored venue with an enchanting art deco foyer, has been captivating audiences since its inception in 1808. Originally built for the D'Oyly Carte opera company, it has become a cherished part of London's West End theatre scene. This iconic location is renowned for hosting a variety of productions, from timeless classics like 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'H.M.S. Pinafore' to modern hits such as 'Dreamgirls.'
The Savoy Theatre is famous for being the first theatre in the world (!) to be fully electrified, back in 1881, when it opened. It is a relatively small (about 1,150 seats) theatre on three levels, with surprisingly comfortable seats. We liked the musical "Mean Girl" - the show was delightful and funny. A very pleasant impression.
Irena I — Google review
Super interesting small theatre. Loved Burlesque! Incredible singing, great performances & costumes. Beware you can’t see performers upper body on a couple of occasions if you’re in the Grand Circle.
Linda K — Google review
Paddington, The Musical. Initially we were surprised at how small the theatre felt. However, they made use of every inch, and did so in style. The scene changes were slick. The scenery and props were imaginative and incorporated great use of modern tech. A few of the songs felt a little out of place. Some of the 'moral of the story' felt a bit pressing. Overall a great production and worth viewing. After all, who doesn't love Paddington.
Izzy W — Google review
Absolutely blown away by the cast and musicians of Burlesque. Stunning is not a big enough word to describe the performance. The venue was great and loved all.the different bars on each level, only downside is the lack of ladies toilets, but that's a common theme at many of the theatres. This show is only on for a limited time, don't miss out

Mean Girls The Musical was simply fetch!!! The story line, acting and songs were fantastic. The theatre performance story matched the 2 films and they used actual lines from the films too. I felt like I was in the film itself. The sets were great and the costumes were fabulous. The songs were cleverly scripted with matching music. The show had many jokes in it which made me laugh out loud. The Venue was clean and well staffed… the only downside is there aren’t many restrooms. Overall I had a great afternoon watching Mean Girls The Musical at Savoy Theatre. The staff were friendly, helpful and proactive too. I would definitely watch this musical again here. 5***** experience.
Priya — Google review
Watched Burlesque here and the show was brilliant!! However the experience within the theatre wasn't the best. For a small space the staff managed the audience poorly, the guy at the bar kept making mistakes, and was busy trying to sell us more alcohol rather than put through the order we wanted. I've been to many theatres and this one will go to the bottom of the list service and experience wise.
Dee — Google review
We went there to watch Paddington The Musical, what an amazing performance, it was absolutely sensational. The cast was brilliant, and the person who was in the Paddington suit, how they did not pass out, was a miracle. We were up in the gods, but still had a good view of the stage and performance. The staff were helpful, the only downside was a Dad and his son behind us who were loud during some of it, however, fortunately the performance mainly drowned them out. It was hard to get tickets, and rightly so, a definite must for musical lovers, and an absolute must for Paddington lovers. Bonnie Langford as Mrs Bird, just added to an already amazing performance. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Ordering a concert ticket was very easy,I had a couple of questions regarding my order which were answered quickly online and over the phone by customer service. The venue is a beautiful, historic theatre which hasn't been over refurbished,so you do have a sense of history in the auditorium. Good queue management prior to the show (Psychedelic Furs),quick bar service, clean toilets, comfortable stall seats and comfortable temperature. Great support act(Anja Huwe). Amazing performance from the"Furs",great audience atmosphere and everyone dancing halfway through the set. Looking forward to Jethro Tull in May '26.

The London Palladium is a beautiful theatre just the right size, so you’re never too far from the stage. The atmosphere is charming and full of history. The only downside is that there aren’t quite enough toilets, but that’s understandable given it’s an older theatre. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy a show.

Watched 80's band ABC here at the Palladium. Great show, fond memories and decent acoustics. A legendary venue and even up high you get a good view. Ofcourse its age shows with the limited legroom. But really worth a visit just to take it all in and see the legendary acts that have trodden these boards.

The venue could be a bit better organised. The place itself was good, toilets etc and security however we found people still arriving late throughout the performance, which was quite distracting. Seats quite close but comfortable. The performance from saho de sagazan was spectacular.

Theatre Royal Drury Lane stands as a magnificent testament to London's rich theatrical history, having served as a playhouse since the 1600s. This lavish Georgian theatre is renowned for its captivating mainstream musicals that draw in crowds from all over. Upon entering the Grand Saloon, visitors are treated to an exquisite tea experience crafted by celebrity baker Lily Vanilli, featuring delightful mini crumpets and savory madeleines under stunning chandeliers.
The theatre itself is amazingly beautiful, I spend an hour before the performance just wandering the corridors and staircases with all the amazing art and decorations. The staff is also super friendly and all that creates an unique and unforgettable athmosphere. The performance of 'Hercules' was great as well. Extremely well acted and with fine singing. The only thing that was a bit off-putting was the extremly high volume, it's not a big theatre so they could have tuned it down a bit.

Hercules was a lot of fun to watch I attended during the week of the tube strikes and the show was still full. The cast are incredible and do this show justice. The theatre itself is always lovely to attend. Second show I’ve seen here this year. It’s always clean and staff are lovely. Plenty of access for all and staff are always available.

The theatre is beautiful. Truly one of the most gorgeous theatres I've been in. There are details from the first glance outside to the second you leave. So much detail and history held in this building. There are practical things that are great too, comfy seats and lots of toilets but honestly it was like a theatre museum and I would return to just look around. No show needed. The show during my visit was Hercules which I would not recommend but still did not taint my view of the theatre
Jennifer — Google review
Watched Hercules here, it was stunning, really great performance, great costumes, great set, great lighting, good story, great building with statues, and paintings. But to me, and my family, the sound system was a bit too loud at that time (we sat at the stall area). But overall, it was a great experience.

I went to watch Hercules with my sister and nephew aged 12. Firstly, the theatre itself is stunning, architecture and arrtwork, just beautiful. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The show is a must see production. Performances, singing, dancing all fab. Highly recommend Hercules and the Theatre Royal.

This is a phenomenal theater. I just came back from Hercules, the Disney production, and I'm absolutely happy about my seat. I had E19. It was up in the balcony. It's the highest area you can get a ticket, and it was an exceptional price. I had such a good view. I was so impressed about the production itself. It was absolutely amazing, and the cast was phenomenal. The power of voices was something else. I had chills the whole time, and even my inner child was happy because I got a mint chocolate ice cream in the break between. If you want to see a musical that makes your heart happy, then Disney's Hercules is absolutely the right one for you. 🤩⚡️
Iris R — Google review
We used the King box and the Hospitality package to see the Disney Hercules on Stage and it was the best thing about our trip to London. The theatre itself was stunning. The staff was amazing. It was very magical. The performance itself was also incredible.
Nicola F — Google review
Located near the Covent Garden Tube station. An easy walk to get here. You are allowed to gain entry an hour before the show. I came to see the Hercules musical and was allowed in at 13:30. There are attendants outside that will check your bags and scan your tickets. There is a gift shop inside for the musical but it is very small and got crowded quite quickly. And there are attendants throughout the premises that sell other items like Musical brochures, teddy bear and cups. My seat was Stalls D26, situated in the middle and four rows from the front of the stage. It was a great location and good distance from the stage, I was able to hear and see everything clearly. Seats were comfortable too and if you had children with you, you also had a seat booster to give them as well so that they can see better. At half time they provided various ice creams for you to purchase. It is a beautiful theatre and I would come again in future. A great experience.

The London Coliseum is a beautifully restored Edwardian theatre in the heart of London's West End, known for its grand 80ft stage and opera productions. Originally built in 1904 as a variety theatre by architect Frank Matcham, it now serves as the home of the English National Opera (ENO). With seating for an impressive 2,359 people, it offers an iconic venue for captivating performances and rich history.
What a night! The Coliseum Theatre is absolutely stunning — full of charm and the perfect setting for this dazzling Gatsby production. The show itself was incredible. The cast brought so much energy and emotion, with delightful singing that truly captured the spirit of the roaring twenties. The stage art and set design were standout — elegant, immersive, and visually captivating. Even better, tickets were selling for just £20, which made this whole experience fantastic value for money. For that price, it honestly felt like a steal. Highly recommended if you’re in London and want an unforgettable theatre night.

Wow! Impressive The best made musical which I have seen. Specially that i visited 3 musical for last 7 months in Madrid, Spain. It’s our first show in London so we bought the cheapest tickets and we’re impressed - the level of preparation is incredible - costumes, stage props, lighting, music, lights, actors' voices and dancing are simply amazing! 2,5 hours just flew! Someone says that you feel that 20£ is not enough for this show and I totally agree. One more surprise - view is fine from every part of the theater- we were sitting in balcony and you may see everything perfectly. Maybe small tip is to take the middle part sits. The theater themselves is quite beautiful, so it’s perfectly suits The great Gatsby show. Highly highly recommended

I watched Twilight in concert in this majestic hall. Everything about that day was memorable and will last forever. I've never seen Twilight before, so watching it for the first time here was amazing. The venue was easy to locate from Piccadilly Circus underground station, staff were superb, refreshments were well priced, toilets were super clean, seats were extremely comfortable and the hall itself was absolutely magnificent. One of the most beautiful theatres in London. The exterior was undergoing some renovation at the time of our visit (June 2025) but the interior was stunning. Attended a Saturday matinee performance of The Great Gatsby. Great views of the stage, and the set changes were amazing. The bar had a queuing system and was well staffed, so service was quick and efficient. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Altogether an excellent experience.

Watched the great Gatsby last weekend. I absolutely love theatre shows and this was up there as top 5 for me. The singing was phenomenal and it did follow the storyline of the movie quite closely which was nice. The actors were fantastic for this show and gave there 100% effort which is nice especially as they are doing these shows every day. I would genuinely watch it again. Our seats were J30/J29 in stalls. The view was great I could see everything perfectly and my view wasnt obstructed at all. I just want to add that this theatre was absolutely stunning inside. Love the architecture and atmosphere. The staff were lovely too and helped with any queries. 10/10 experience- no notes 👏🏽

The Lyceum Theatre, located in the City of Westminster, is a historic venue with over 2000 seats and a rich entertainment history dating back to 1765. Since 1999, it has been home to the renowned musical 'The Lion King,' directed by Julie Taymor. This multi-award-winning production brings the story of Simba's journey to become King of the Pride Lands to life through innovative stagecraft and captivating music.
My husband took me to see The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre - oh my god, it was absolutely unreal! They asked us not to record, so I didn’t, but honestly, that show was incredible. The theatre itself is stunning- it actually reminded me of the places you see in movies. The history and culture are beautifully reflected in every detail. I highly recommend it to everyone- it’s truly one of the best performances I’ve ever seen! 🦁✨
Samalee K — Google review
Beautiful theatre to watch Lion King! Loved the intricate details on the walls and ceiling it added to the event. I wished there was more light in the audience before the show so I could see the details a bit more clearly. My tickets were high up in the grand balcony and when I mean high it was high close to nose bleed. I don’t know if there were elevators - it wasn’t offered to me and I was dead climbing up the stairs so note to people with mobility issues it will be difficult to go to the upper level. I wasn’t sure if my seats were too high to enjoy and no it was still perfect. Very clear view and sound was amazing. Seats are not the most comfortable and everything is a bit squished. If people come late you are constantly getting up to let people by which was frustrating. You can rent binoculars to see stage better. It wasn’t needed but rented anyway for the experience which was fun. Theatre offers drinks and some snacks wish it was a better selection. Overall thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

A beautiful theatre! Went there as a treat for my 30th from my boyfriend to watch the Lion King. We had a box booth, (B) to ourselves which the view was amazing, the seats there were comfortable with a table to put our drinks on. The staff were very kind upon entrance and in the gift shop. The Lion King itself was amazing. Everything that has gone into that show is absolutely mind blowing. We had one of the actors come into the booth to sing which was utterly delightful. They could all sing so beautifully, especially the actor for Rafiki, she could absolutely belt her voice! I honestly loved every moment! No photography or recording is allowed of the performance itself and I wanted to respect that, but I did manage to get permitted shots of other bits there. If you're on the fence about going, definitely do! 🦁👑

Truly one of the best theatre productions I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible show! Highly recommend. We sat in the first balcony and it was excellent view! They hire out binoculars for a fee of £1 but didn't need it from our seats. The theatre decor is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The show is one of the best I have seen! My only issue would be they encourage everyone to turn up earlier to the show but don't open the doors for everyone to get their seats so everyone is crammed into the small bar area waiting to be let in rather than it be a staggered entrance and less crowding.
S S — Google review
This was my first time seeing The Lion King, which has been a dream of mine since I was a child (I was born in '97). The Lion King is my favourite Disney movie, so once I was old enough to realise that a musical of it existed on Broadway and West End, I took mental note of it as part of my 'bucket list'. I honestly can't say enough how incredible it was, I was completely moved. I laughed, I cried, I applauded (a lot). It was everything I hoped it would be and more. I can't recommend this experience enough, it is totally worth the money. It'a an amazing performance all around, acting, singing, the production - the effort is incredible. It's worth sitting in the stalls, you feel more involved in the performance!

Very elegant and nice theatre. As with most UK theatres, not enough toilet facilities however they were clean. There are no lifts and a number of stairs to reach some of the stalls. Good stage for shows and easy to get to with good transport links. Can be very busy outside due to its closeness to Chinatown and Leicester Square.

The story, the music, the set, the costumes, and the performances were all incredible. From the young MJ to the teenager and then the adult, the three actors portraying Michael were phenomenal — their voices were flawless, and their acting was spot-on. From the very first note of the overture, the entire theatre seems to vibrate with anticipation – and what follows is an experience that’s breathtaking, emotionally rich, and visually spectacular. The theatre itself sets the perfect tone: opulent, intimate, and steeped in history. It feels like the kind of place where stories live in the walls, and Phantom takes full advantage of that atmosphere. The set design is astonishing – every transition seamless, from the candlelit underground lair to the grand opera house stage within a stage. And yes, the chandelier moment is just as iconic as you imagine – it genuinely makes your heart skip a beat. The cast was phenomenal. The Phantom was a perfect balance of menace, vulnerability, and tragic charm – his voice powerful and haunting. Christine was luminous, both in her voice and presence, and Raoul brought heart and strength to every scene. Their chemistry made the story all the more gripping, and the emotion in the final scenes left many in the audience quietly wiping away tears. The music, of course, is unforgettable. There’s nothing like hearing “The Music of the Night” or “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” live, surrounded by a full orchestra and wrapped in velvet sound. Every song hits harder in person – richer, deeper, and filled with nuance that recordings just can’t capture. What makes Phantom so enduring is that it’s more than just spectacle (though the spectacle is incredible). It’s a deeply human story about love, obsession, loneliness, and beauty – and at His Majesty’s Theatre, it’s told with elegance, passion, and care. Whether you’re seeing it for the first time or the fiftieth, The Phantom of the Opera is a theatrical experience that stays with you long after the curtain falls. A true masterpiece.

I can’t even explain how incredible this experience was it’s beyond amazing. Every cent spent was absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend choosing the Royal Circle seats. The performance was beautiful, and you could truly feel every emotion from the characters. It was my partner’s first time watching a musical, and he completely fell in love with it. Every actor and actress was stunning and exceptionally talented. Christine felt like she had stepped right out of the book, and the Phantom’s voice was absolutely dreamy, perfectly conveying his emotions. All the cast members delivered flawless performances, staying completely in character and showing pure professionalism. I watched closely, and there wasn’t a single mistake just captivating, world-class artistry. I’ve fallen in love with musicals all over again, and with London, too. A huge thank you to everyone who made this so special, including the amazing box office team, the friendly staff outside guiding guests, the bartenders, and the seating staff. This was 100% satisfying don’t miss it! + love you orchestras team! Until the end, they are incredible!

Lovely theatre, alot of steps to get to balcony but great view from up there. It was noted limited legroom which wasn't all that bad, depending on the show it may also be limited view and I would imagine if watching Phantom as we were and you were any higher in the balcony you may have an even lesser view of the brilliant scenery, effects and performers for a few seconds here and there if they are upstage. But overall the view was pretty decent.

Tickets were bought well in advance, as they sell out quickly. It was a magical experience at His Majesty’s Theatre to see the legendary Phantom of the Opera! The production, music, set design, and overall atmosphere were of the highest quality. The fantastic staging and outstanding actors left a powerful impression — we watched the entire performance almost without blinking. The musical has been running since 1986! An interesting fact is that the theatre changes its name depending on the gender of the reigning monarch. We had tickets for the Royal Circle — the seats were excellent, offering a great view of the stage and very comfortable seating. They’re also conveniently located near the bar, so we enjoyed a glass of champagne during the show. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic West End experience!

Cozy little theater with good sound for a play. My only complaint is the lack of warning regarding the lower seats that are partially obstructed by the upper level. You have a difficult time seeing the upper part of the stage so we missed out on quite a bit of the Phantom of the Opera scenes. You can see what I mean from the second photo. Recommend upper seats or ensure the overhang is behind you! Otherwise it’s a great venue.
Mark H — Google review
Our seats were Grand Circle J30-31. So it's a bit far. We couldn't see the left of the stage at all and have to lean forward all the time. The view was quite clear but it depends on a head's person in front of you. The worst things were they turned on the light around grand circle area and staffs let audiences get in and out while performing. So I recommend to pay more to get the better seat and avoid any annoying things. By the way, The phantom of the opeara was wonderful. I totally recommend!!

The original structure was built around 1705 so this place definitely has history on its back. It was so fun to watch, ‘Phantom of the Opera’. The place was booked but I was able to secure in the front area where I can see the actor’s facial expressions really well. Each actor put 110% into the their role and they all have a talent! Their voices were so magical and the background orchestra performed splendid! I enjoyed every second of the show and it was a night to remember.

As a someone who loves musicals & AuDHD, i came on a wee solo trip, i organised everything a few weeks in advance. Jenny via email at customer service was exceptionally helpful. They even allowed me to bring in my alcohol free beer , due to my rare eating disorder. That in its self was very accommodating for my needs and to be seen and helped. It was a wee weight lifted Anyway i made my way to HMT and i was met with my host róisín, she talked to me about the musical and story behind phantom of the opera. She asked if i needed anything to help me enjoy my experience more while im here. I really couldn't ask for much more. Róisín was absolutely fantastic and an amazing human. It really did make my afternoon. Even being led to my said seat in the grand circle a18. Róisín even checked on me on the interval. So thanks róisín means a lot. Now for the musical & storytelling of phantom of the opera. I don't want to spoil it for you all..but the cast really did put on a show, the mix of emotions though music and the said story..get ye tissues ready for the ending. Also the highlight is the chandelier, get a good seat. I was above it and saw it rise up. As an AuDHDer HMT is very accommodating & helpful with adjustments to your needs. Customer service of staff is what makes going to the theatre more special & its a warm welcome with a HMT touch. So thank you. My fellow AuDHDer or autistic or adhd. This is rated for autistic friendly spaces. Anyway i leave you some photos, give HMT a wee vist & watch phantom of the opera. P.s it 2hr 30 mins long

The Novello Theatre is an Edwardian venue known for hosting large drama productions, big-name musicals, and even Shakespeare plays. One of its most popular shows is 'Mamma Mia!', a musical featuring ABBA songs that has captivated audiences worldwide with its comedic storyline and lively characters. The theater's staff are praised for their exceptional service, adding to the overall experience.
A lovely theatre ❤️ we saw Mamma Mia, absolutely loved it, such a great performance, brilliant singing and dancing. Great seats too. Staff at the theatre are lovely ❤️.
Vicki S — Google review
Mamma Mia is a very entertaining show. You know the songs, the story is sweet and simple, the actors are funny. It misses the deepness of Oliver! or Les Mis, but it's a great show with great music. An evening we'll spent. We are a family either 2 kids (16 and 11), and we all had a great time.
Guy B — Google review
We attended the musical Mamma Mia! It is the definition of a true musical! :) I’m not even a fan of the genre, but the ABBA songs were absolutely captivating. The performance radiates positive energy throughout — the actors throw themselves into their roles with such passion that it turns the whole evening into a celebration. Would I recommend it? Definitely worth seeing at least once! And if musicals are close to your heart, this one is an absolute must. A generous dose of humor is guaranteed! 🎭✨
Vadimas B — Google review
It’s a very old theater, but beautifully preserved — full of tradition and charm. I felt like I had traveled back in time while watching the show. You can buy drinks or ice cream during the intermission. Outside food is not allowed. The Mamma Mia! performance was absolutely amazing! The reason I gave it 4 stars is because, since it’s an old theater, people have to stand up to let others in and out of their seats — which can be a bit inconvenient. But even that felt kind of warm and nostalgic in its own way.
Bliss S — Google review
Home of Mamma Mia! Great venue and show. One for ABBA fans or simply musical theatre lovers. Great views from Dress Circle. Friendly and helpful staff. Local to Covent Garden, Holborn and Piccadilly Circus stations if coming on the tube. Snack bar available and toilets on each floor.
Sami R — Google review
Very entertaining musical with good humour and extremely talented cast. Everyone can sing, dance and act. Great music from ABBA of course. This is the 3rd time I’ve seen this and although I prefer the original/previous cast, I’d still highly recommend this show to anyone!
Paulo A — Google review
Excellent production of MamaMia within a classic old West End theatre. What's not to like. I could be picky and say I'd like more leg room, but I had £thirty something pound seats with a fab view in the dress circle. Great memory to treasure, thanks to all!!!

Cosy old style Theater in Strand . Always beautiful to see how they keep it together even if nowadays for the new generation they prefer more modern. Loved the mamamia performance and happy for this experience. Toilets clean which is very important and staff very friendly , all went smoothly.

We saw Titanique and laughed so hard all night long. A brilliant show, great performances, and legitimately a gay paradise 😂 So camp and so marvellous. And I say that as a heterosexual woman. Such a fun and safe space, full of love and laughter.
Holly B — Google review
Such a fun evening at Titanique! The cast absolutely nailed every song, and the intimate theatre space makes you feel completely immersed in the show. No intervals, so grab your drinks beforehand. A few questionable trolls here and there 😂, but overall it’s a wonderful way to wind down your day.
Antony M — Google review
Came to see Titanique. We weren’t in the box but we’re in AA in the two seats by themselves. You have to lean but don’t miss anything from the show. It was Lauren Drew’s last night which was really fun. It’s a cool show with lots of niche references! The bathrooms are very small - as usual and there can be lines so be careful. The show runs without an intermission as well just for reference. It was a fun evening!
Jd — Google review
We saw Titanique at the Criterion Theatre. It has a small cast but they all play their roles superbly. It was funny with more than a touch of camp panto at times. The script is regularly updated with several current references, which is very clever. We laughed all through the show. Well worth a visit. The theatre is smaller than some but beautifully restored.
Graham S — Google review
My wife and I recently went to the Criterion Theatre to see "Titanique". This may be more common in London, but the theater is below ground level. My wife and I found that unique. It's a smaller to medium sized theater. We sat in the dress circle & had an incredible view. Given the overall size of the theater, I'm sure it's hard to find a bad seat in there. The seats were spacious & comfortable. The staff we encountered were all very nice. When we find ourselves in London again, I would definitely go back. On a side note: if you're reading this while "Titanique" is still playing there, I highly recommend it. We haven't laughed that hard in ages. It made for a great night out.
Mike M — Google review
Great fun! very witty, camp and well produced. Actress playing Celine Dion was suberb and held the whole productiontogether! Would describe it as pantomime in style, more than anything else, with some belters. A shame about the nasty references to JK Rowling

Lovely theatre, it's old but well looked after. Because of this it's a bit cramped if you're over 6' but you're never far from the stage. As always, don't expect cheap drinks and snacks. Plenty of eateries nearby for pre-theatre meals and drinks.

The Victoria Palace Theatre is a grand 1500-seat venue with a beautiful marble foyer, gold mosaic, and restored facade. It's best known for hosting Lin Manuel-Miranda's award-winning musical 'Hamilton,' which is highly sought after in the West End. Visitors have praised the theater for its lovely ambiance, good facilities, and helpful staff. Despite some setbacks due to COVID-19, patrons have been impressed by the outstanding performances and stunning set design of the shows at this iconic location.
One of the most striking elements of Hamilton is its flawless vocal performances. What adds a delightful twist to this historical drama is the humor brought by memorable characters like King George III. His comedic timing and over-the-top antics are a perfect counterbalance to the intense drama of the main storyline. Every time he steps onto the stage, his playful songs and hilariously self-absorbed commentary light up the room, drawing laughter from the audience without fail. Overall this is a story of ambition, legacy, and the human spirit, told with wit, heart, and unrelenting energy. Good show!
R A — Google review
I went to see Hamilton and the production was excellent. The theatre is very beautiful but once again, I am stunned that in 2025, it is still not fully accessible. I have mobility issues and was disappointed that there are no elevators or ramps. I understand that theatres hold a lot of history but with an aging population and people with disabilities, surely you understand this is necessary? Even just a few stairs are still stairs.
Margarita ( — Google review
It is a stunning looking theatre with small foyer area. There is a small cloakroom by the entrance doors. We sat in the Royal Circle to watch Hamilton. Seats were good, it allowed us good leg movement. We loved watching the show. The theatrics and actors were awesome. It would had been better if the people behind us were not been singing time to time.
Mrs P — Google review
A Masterpiece, and the King Stole the Show! Hamilton is as brilliant as everyone says it is. The energy, the music, the staging—it's a breathtaking piece of theater from start to finish. But I have to give a special shout-out to the actor who played King George III. He was an absolute scene-stealer! Every time he walked on stage, the entire theater was in stitches. His performance was hilarious, perfectly timed, and his songs were comedic gold. He brought a wonderful, wicked charm that provided the perfect contrast to the intensity of the revolution. A truly fantasticaling night at the theater. If you have the chance to see it, don't throw away your shot!

A lovely venue full of old world charm. Great toilets, easy to get a drink or ice cream and very clean. Only complaint are the seats are limited for leg room. Hamilton was incredible, a great show superbly staged.

Came to the victoria palace theater in London back in Jan 2025 to see Hamilton it was amazing. The west end is the place to be for great musicals and shows. Be going to see another one very soon
Jess E — Google review
Hamilton show was nice, interesting storyline which gave me a lot of insights around the events from that time - nothing to complain on that, actors were putting their entire souls to it, which was clearly visible. Where it was lacking the most was the sound in the theater - we were at the upper circle and couldn’t really grasp all the dialogs. Additionally having 1.9m being there in th fist row was a miserable experience - absolutely no space for your legs, and with the barrier in front it felt more like Ryanair flight rather than a pleasant experience. Temperature insight was on the high side, so don’t wear too much.

Noël Coward Theatre, a Louis XVI-style Victorian theatre, is known for hosting short-running touring shows, modern plays, and Shakespeare productions. In 2019, the hit musical 'Dear Evan Hansen' made its way to this historic venue after its successful Broadway premiere. The theatre's art deco interior and Grade II-listed Banking Hall have been featured in various films.
We visited to watch the latest mischief production 'A comedy about spies' which in keeping with their other productions was very funny, with slightly more adults content than previous plays but enjoyable by both us and our 12 & 15yo. This is one of the best theatres we've been to for decent leg room for seating and the view was good. Option to arrange refreshments at the intermission before the play starts. Decent selection of both drinks and snacks at the bar at not extortionate prices.
Cathy H — Google review
I visited the Noel Coward Theatre to see a production of The Importance of being Earnest. It's a superb Theatre right near Leicester Square, so great for the underground. If i had one tiny criticism, and its hardly their fault, its getting served before and during breaks in performances, the bars are so small, so only two staff can serve. That being said, the staff are all very helpful and friendly and it certainly didn't detract from an excellent show.
Justin L — Google review
Wonderful atmosphere, seats are great. I had no problem seeing the stage. The Importance of Being Earnest was a triumph. I laughed so much , an absolute delight. Thank you all especially the kind lady who sold me two tubs of ice cream yum!
Fionnuala C — Google review
The theatre itself is an amazing place, with comfy seats and plenty of legroom There is a bar and the obligatory ice cream during the intermission. The staff are nice and helpful. There is not much of a slope in the stalls so if you're unlucky and a six foot five man sits in front then you will find it difficult to see. Acoustics are good and the actors in the play I went to see were amazing

An exquisite establishment. Built in 1903, the styling and architecture hark back to a bygone era. Ushers bring out their interval refreshments as they probably would have over a hundred years ago. Super authentic.

We saw "The Comedy of Spies" today with Henry Lewis as Douglas Woodbead and Henry Shields as Bernard Wright at the Noel Coward Theatre. Absolutely delightful comedy and acting, we laughed until we cried and had stomachaches, what a pleasant surprise! The theatre is also cosy, with comfortable seats and nice decor, helpful staff, everything is very good. We will remember it with positive memories👍👍🤗🙏👍

The theatre itself was beautiful and I could see the whole show from up in the balcony with a £25 seat. Actually getting in was stressful - I appreciate crowd control in central London is probably difficult but try to ensure staff don’t bellow in customers’ ears. I was trying very hard to move forward (but people in front were dawdling) and a man absolutely roared in my ear. I would like to keep my hearing
Harley H — Google review
What a lovely theatre. Sat in the stalls & my seat on Row N had lots of legroom. Unfortunately the ladies toilets were over the other side & although 4 of them they are absolutely tiny. No room for accessing the furthest loos if anyone is washing their hands! Hey ho, they have made the best of extremely restricted space. The production was The Importance of being Earnest, with a fabulous cast & was extremely entertaining.

The Duchess Theatre offers an intimate setting for contemporary dramas and plays, featuring a small proscenium-arched auditorium. The theater's immaculate condition and helpful staff contribute to a comfortable visit, while ample food and drink options are available. Families also find the show highly enjoyable, with brilliant humor and audience involvement creating lasting memories.
A small but relatively intimate theatre. The staff are decent and respectful. It was showing the Play that Goes Wrong and while not tremendously funny, it was amusing. Certainly don't believe the hype as it's not that hilarious as the reviews suggest. It got better as the show carried on however. Some very likeable characters like the butler, the understudy for the lady, and the younger brother of the murdered haversham. All in all I would recommend this theatre and this show if you can get cheap tickets.

I saw The play that goes wrong, which was brilliantly funny. The Duchess Theatre is not one of the nicest in terms of decoration inside, but the facilities and staff are very good. Also the leg room is good for a London theatre.

Really lovely little theatre, seating is quite tight but good views of the stage. We saw 'The Play That Goes Wrong' and it was very funny. £4 for a water was a bit steep though!
Karen D — Google review
This play is absolutely hilarious. It is about an amateur dramatics group attempting to stage a murder mystery titled The Murder at Haversham Manor. Everything that can go wrong does go wrong, like props malfunction, actors forget their lines, and set pieces collapse. The actors’ had perfectly timed the chaos, ability to mess up so convincingly are just amusing. LoL. Arrived early and you will see the actors come out and look for their dog.

Gillian Lynne Theatre is a modern venue with a flexible stage and seating arrangement, ensuring unobstructed views from every seat. It has hosted acclaimed productions like 'Standing at the Skys Edge,' which has garnered multiple awards and critical acclaim. The theater also showcased 'Crazy for You,' an enchanting musical set in the American Great Depression era, featuring impressive performances and captivating music.
We attended the live adaptation of My Neighbour Totoro at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, and we had a fantastic time. The show was an absolute joy. The performance and puppetry were amazing, and the set was brilliant, and it's a production I won't forget! The venue is beautiful, and the seats were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's conveniently located just a short walk from Holborn tube station.

Just saw the stage show of MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO and it's STUNNING! Hands down the best stage production I've seen all year! The live band was on a platform above the bookish set, creating even the sound effects musically! I was so excited to see how they'd pull off Totoro & the Catbus... and it was mind-blowing! Highly, HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who appreciates incredible theatre!

We loved watching My neighbour Totoro at this theatre. The staff were great when we sat down with our children, they came up to offer us booster seats for them so they could see better. We had circle seats(A17-A20) on the sides and we had a good view as we could lean forward on to the railings.

Came in for my first theatre and alone but never felt alone when I watched My Neighbor Totoro!! Definitely a must watch. Everyone was so nice too from entrance to collecting my merch to the attendant who was also selling pamphlets who guided us to our seats..I feel that all the staff was so nice and good looking 😍 The audience were respectful too~~

Good show and very captivating. However, I would have given 5 stars, but the staff weren't consistent. During the interval, I asked a member of staff if I could purchase a hot drink outside (as they don't serve hot drinks in the theater) I was told as long as a lid is provided I will be allowed back in with a hot drink. Upon my return, a different member of staff refused to let me in with my hot drink, so I had to discard my drink before I could re-entre. quite frustrating and annoying 😑 but the show was good. My daughter really enjoyed it 👍 (this show is better suited for children, not adults)

Went to see My Neighbour Totoro at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, and was really impressed by the modern feel and comfort of the venue. One of the standout features? Legroom! So much better than most other West End theatres — I didn’t feel cramped at all. A heads-up: there’s no middle aisle, so if you’re seated around 18–25, you’ll be in the middle and need to shuffle past quite a few people (cue lots of “sorry” and “excuse me” 😂). The restrooms were spacious with a good number of toilets, meaning intermission queues moved quickly — such a bonus! The stage is well designed, and I genuinely believe you’d get a good view from nearly any seat, not just those in the stalls. One of my favourite theatres so far in terms of comfort and modern facilities — would happily return!

Nestled in the heart of London, the Garrick Theatre is a stunning example of Victorian elegance, offering a vibrant mix of mainstream drama revivals, musicals, and cabaret performances. With its rich history and original decor, this venue provides an inviting atmosphere for theatre lovers. The theatre features two bars where you can enjoy refreshments before or during your show.
Seats were great even at the top of the grand circle. Merch stall, two bars, free tap water, and multiple toilets, plus outside seating area Leg room wasn't great for people with long legs. Great staff
Libbi G — Google review
Beautiful old theatre with great staff. Some drawbacks are; it's tight for space, during a play you do get the rumble of trains as they travel close by. But, these things all go with the territory of an old London Theatre. There is a great choice of restaurants close by as you are five to ten minutes away from Haymarket, Piccadilly Circus, Soho and Leicester Square.
Ray B — Google review
The Garrick Theatre is a beautifully restored theatre, with comfortable seats with enough leg room for a 6ft tall person. The stalls bar is a little small but the queue is well managed. The current production of The Producers is outstanding. Ok the content won't be approved by everyone all but take it for what it is: entertainment and it's 5* The cast is awesome, a laugh a minute show, a slightly camp riot of fun.
Graham S — Google review
Small, intimate theatre with the bar at the rear of the stalls. Issue is the front of the theatre where the stage is rather narrow , then flares out so some seats have limited view of the entire stage
Steven S — Google review
I enjoyed coming to see The Producers here very much. There is a sitting area outside on the second story for show attendees to take advantage of before the shownand during the interval. I was seated in Box G and while I did miss the action that happened downstage left, it did not detract from the overall show.

This was an amazing visit on my trip to London. The theatre is clean and well decorated, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this theatre to anyone. I would also like to give a special mention to a man who helped us at the box office called Farruk (apologies if name is spelled wrong) who was especially accommodating when we had problems with our seats. If you're umming and ahhing about whether to see the Producers, you should go! It's hillarious!!

Saw The Producers here. Was a phenomenal show. Amazing acting. Great singing, staging and dancing. Humorous. Fun. Staff was nice. Seats fine. Bathrooms easy.

Went to see the show " The Producers " It was hilarious and I haven't laughed so much for years. It was a brilliant show. The theatre isn't the largest, the toilets adequate but there was sufficient leg room and the seats comfortable. We were in row K 17 and 18 and had a really.good view of the.performance.

Formerly known for drama, the Sondheim Theatre now hosts musicals in a stunning auditorium hidden behind a plain facade. Visitors praise the professional and well-dressed door staff who ensure a smooth entry into the busy theater. The bar offers drinks to enjoy during performances, and the overall experience is described as fantastic. Despite some challenges navigating through the crowd during intermission, guests appreciate the attentive service from both security and bar staff.
We just had to catch a show at the Sondheim Theatre! The theatre itself is simply beautiful architecture. The atmosphere, seating and service are top notch! Was already enjoying the experience even before the show started. Just made sure we got good seats as I have read in other reviews the closer rows are simply neck hazards!!

1st visit to The Sondheim, very impressive theatre. Les Miserables 40th Anniversary performance was stunning. Powerful, moving right from the first scene. Magnificent cast, great Orchestra and terrific scenery. Great afternoon out.

Les Mis at the Sondheim 🎭 A wonderful production that still holds a special place in my heart. Saw it years ago and loved it just as much this time! New theatre since then, but our seats (Row B 15/16, Grand circle) were great value. Staff were all super friendly and helpful 😊 I’m still singing the songs and smiling! 🎶🙂
Vb — Google review
Absolutely loved the experience, the musical is long and follows a big story, be a bit prepared(see the movie/read the book/have a friend tell you the summary) The grand circle offers good Pov in the front rows but still you can't see distinct faces easy. The seats are quite small and not very comfortable for 3 hour. Luckily there's an interval in between.

Cute theatre. We saw Les Miserables there and we loved it. Decorations, live orchestra, excellent acting. Amazing experience! Don’t get cheap on tickets if you want to see whole stage though. Not every seat guarantees it.

Incredible performance, astounding music, and great prices. There is no better choice than to enjoy theatre in London. It is powerful and entertaining. This in particular was OUR FAVOURITE! Only downside about it was the fact that they allow drinking and eating in the theatre as long as you buy it inside. By the time we left, the rows were filled with trash. People did not clean after themselves and left cups and glasses everywhere. In our opinion, it should not be allowed to eat and drink during performances.

Very nice theatre with bars and lounges areas that are quite spacious and relaxed. Staff is kind, friendly and helpful. Ice cream sale during intervention. Exit is easy and quick.

The Gielgud Theatre, a refurbished neo-classical venue, is known for staging revivals, mainstream premieres, Shakespeare plays, and musicals. It has received acclaim for hosting chilling ghost stories and exceptional productions like 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and 'The Crucible.' The theatre offers various seating options with differing views of the stage and ample legroom.
I got to see my favorite all time movie on stage here - Oliver. The theatre is small, quaint and cozy and you become fully immersed in the presentation. Any performance here will be enjoyable. The actors, orchestra and set were on point and made our experience very enjoyable. This was a highlight of our trip and I will always remember it.

Enjoyed my visit to Gielgud Theatre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The performance of "Oliver" was AMAZING! A definite "Must See" The cast and crew did an incredible job! The theatre interior is lovely. The Ladies Loo is small, but that is standard in London theatres. Great communication from the theatre. Was given the option of pre-ordering drinks and snacks prior to performance date.

Lovely theatre, very clean including the facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Current show, Oliver, amazingly good. Even the bar prices are reasonable
Stuart F — Google review
We went to see Oliver on 03.09.25 in the evening. Doors opened on time at 6:45 (the 2 security men outside were both really friendly). The merchandising for the show seemed expensive for what it was so we didn’t buy anything. Got 2 cans of water for 4,40£. Nice touch that if you buy sweets at the bar they put them in a cup so you don’t have to put up with people rustling bags in the show. 💺 We were sat in row D seats 12&13 and we could not fault the view from here. Absolutely perfect. So pleased with the seats for the price paid. ‼️ However - I am 6ft2” and there was not enough leg room at all for me. Super super squashed which made for a really uncomfortable night. Bear this in mind if you are taller than average when booking and probably best to book an aisle seat where possible 😗 🎭 The show was outstanding - especially the guy playing Fagin! We loved it & dare I say it “we wanted more!!”

The Lyric Theatre, a 19th-century venue with original features, hosts a variety of mainstream plays, musicals, and comedy shows. One of its recent highlights was the acclaimed production "Hadestown," which won 8 Tony Awards and offers a modern take on ancient mythology. While some visitors found the box office opening times confusing, they praised the friendly staff and efficient bag searches.
absolutely loved the Lyric Theatre! It’s such a beautiful venue with an incredible atmosphere. Being a more intimate space, it creates a unique and cozy experience that makes the show even more special. The sound quality was fantastic, and we watched Sing Street—what an absolute delight! The staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. All in all, an unforgettable evening in a truly charming theatre.
Roel G — Google review
The staff at the Lyric Theatre were fantastic — well-presented, professional, and incredibly friendly. They managed the crowd on the busy street efficiently and made sure everyone was guided smoothly to their sections. Inside, the venue was clean and easy to navigate. Finding our seats, restrooms, and concession areas was straightforward, which made for a stress-free experience. The balcony layout offered good viewing angles overall, though the higher seating sections do extend quite far above the stage. This can make it a bit challenging to see over taller audience members, and the distance from the stage can lessen the sense of immersion slightly. Of course, this depends on ticket choice and price range, but it’s something to keep in mind when booking. We watched Hadestown, and the performance was absolutely brilliant. The main cast delivered powerful, moving vocals, and the supporting ensemble was impressively synchronized throughout. The live on-stage musicians added an incredible energy that’s best appreciated in person. Show timings were punctual from start to finish, and the entire production was a joy to watch. Overall, the Lyric Theatre offers a great experience — excellent staff, a well-kept venue, and a world-class show. Just be mindful of your seating choice for the best view. I was at Lyric Theatre to see Hadestown, and it was superb! I walked, as usual, from Green Park Station. Staff were courteous and the theatre was air-conditioned. More ladies toilets would be good but, hey-ho, all theatres in London are afflicted with the not-enough-toilets condition. I sat in A6, Dress Circle, and the view was banging. Seat was very comfortable, and legroom was good enough for tall me. Go visit.

Booked last minute and ended up with a great center seat in row J. The first half felt a bit slow, but once it hit the Underworld, it really picked up—awesome lighting and set design, and a solid ending too. Low start, strong finish. Also, Hades and Persephone totally stole the show!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this London theatre! The atmosphere was magical from the moment I arrived — warm, welcoming staff, comfortable seating, and an intimate setting that made the performance even more special. The production itself was top-notch: brilliant acting, stunning set design, and perfect sound quality. Everything ran smoothly and professionally. It’s clear the team truly cares about the audience’s experience. I left inspired and can’t wait to return for another show. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great theatre in the heart of London!

This theatre is very old and should be renovated. The corridor in the female toilets is too narrow, especially when people are in a queue. Most disappointingly, there was bad management and uncivilized audience. A man with his partner, were standing and chatting with his friends in the narrow legroom next to me, completely obstructing the narrow passage and didn’t give me any space. The usher noticed and didn’t stop such rude behavior or she didn’t notice it. During performance, this man was whispering to his partner now and then. He said his son was one of the actors tonight, but there was no theatre etiquette from him. What a shame! Besides, a phone was ringing more than once during a wonderful singer’s performance. It was so disturbing. The usher should stop it for the first time. I spent 50 pounds to buy this good seat but my experience was ruined by the rude people sitting next to me and unprofessional staff.

The Harold Pinter Theatre is a beautifully decorated 19th-century venue featuring three tiers of balconies. It hosts a diverse program of musicals and dramas, including notable performances by renowned actors like Ralph Fiennes and Jodie Whittaker. Fiennes stars in a compelling solo adaptation of T.S. Eliot's final masterpiece, while Whittaker takes on the lead role in an acclaimed contemporary adaptation of The Duchess of Malfi.
My first visit to the Harold Pinter. For £25 I got a ticket in the top gallery to the magnificent Martin Shaw in a matinee performance of A Man for All Seasons. The warnings of restricted view when I booked were only true when the person in the row in front of me lent forward, which wasn’t often. I’m of slightly above average height, and unlike some old theatres, there wasn’t a problem with leg room. It’s a long way down to the stage, but the sound carries up to these lofty seats very well. I took along a pair of small binoculars (opera glasses size): it was useful to see the nuances of the show every so often. There are bars on all floors, and it’s a nice convenience to get a drink during the interval without fighting the whole theatre converging on one small bar. I think I would definitely factor the above in if I am going to a show and I have a choice of theatres. One up for The Harold Pinter.

A fun old theatre. Went to see “Giant” which was amazing!! The seats are super tight and it was so hot the night we went it didn’t seem like the air con could keep up. Lots of stairs, so be prepared if you have issues with stairs.

Located centrally just a stones throw from China town and Leicester Square. Sat in the stalls on probably one of the hottest day. AC was average: managed with shorts and a shirt. The seats in mid stalls to back are absolutely terrible with low hanging ceiling and the pole in the way especially if you are sat in the middle from anywhere from row O onwards to U. It literally divides the stage into two.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Weir play, London with my son last Friday evening. Always entertaining and frequently hilarious. World class acting from the entire cast. I remember seeing Brendan Gleeson acting in a play in Dublin 30+ years ago in Dublin. Now I’ve the honour of seeing his act here in London’s west end. All of the cast and crew deserve huge recognition. A great production. Loved it. Thanks for making my evening with my son one to remember :)

First time to this theatre under it's current name. Play: The Years, the play follows the life of the author through five stages from the end of the war through the war in terror. As seen from France. The play uses imagined photos to stage each section of the authors life. With the author being played by the youngest through to the oldest actress The play does not suger coat life so many may feel offended, but it is a lived experience. Including abusive sex and unlawful abortion in graphic details. In the case of the later, woman may still experience this through the pill in the post system. And sadly abusive sex has not been eliminated from the lexicon of interpersonal relationships. The story also travels through development of technology since WWII. Life has changed and life has remained the same. The play is challenging. But it has humour and the constellation of human emotions. Do not attend if graphic depiction of abusive sex and unlawful abortion would make you faint. Do see if you can understand the lived experience. Would see again. Staff very helpful. Second time to see The Years, Tuppence Middleton seamlessly takes over from Romola Garai as the woman 3. I don't know if the audience fainting is part of the play but it seems to happen every performance. is a pity that Tuppence is not credited on the external poster. The Harold Piner Theatre hosts a welcome return of Conor MacPherson’s The Weir, which I saw in 1997 and 1998 at the Royal Court Theatre, The Weir weaves a tale of Irish mythology and relation between tradition and newness – city and rural living. It has humor and sadness. A wonderful evening in an Irish rural pub. Staring Brendan Gleeson as Jack, Owen McDonnell as Brendan, Seán McGinley as Jim(my), Kate Phillips as Valerie and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor as Finbar. Stand out for me is Sean McGinley, playing Jimmy, Jimmy who maybe the village “eejit” has more going on than people think, and McGinley plays him with comedic timing and humanity. A great revival.

This theatre is not one of my favourites but does hold good shows/plays. On this occasion, I chose not to use their bar. However, the highly priced interval ice cream got me! The play Giant, which had not pleased friends who'd seen it before I had, was to my liking. I found it intriguing and demonstrated how offence can be imagined and taken where none is intended. Excellent performances by John Lithgow and zAya Cash.

Tiny cute little theatre, it was opened in the late 1800’s. It’s truly has its charm. You shouldn’t worry that you won’t see from the person in front of you!! The Cambridge Theatre is an elegant venue with an expressionist-style architecture, known for hosting mainstream plays and musical productions. One of its popular shows is Matilda The Musical, a multi-award-winning production by the Royal Shakespeare Company that brings Roald Dahl's beloved story to life. It's recommended to book tickets well in advance, especially for big family-friendly productions. While the seating area can feel cramped and hot, the friendly staff and great atmosphere add to the overall experience.
We celebrated our little one’s 5th birthday with a trip to see Matilda the Musical, and it couldn’t have been more magical. We went as a big family – and it was the perfect way to make the day extra special. The show itself was absolutely brilliant – funny, clever, and full of energy. The children in the cast were incredible, and the whole performance kept even the youngest in our group completely captivated from start to finish. Our birthday girl loved it, and it was so lovely seeing her eyes light up during the songs and big moments on stage. The theatre staff were kind and helpful, making it easy for us to enjoy the day with three generations together. It was a truly unforgettable birthday treat, and we’d highly recommend Matilda to anyone looking for a magical theatre experience that the whole family will love.

Came here to see Matilda. As a theatre, it was well organized. Signage was clear, the toilets in the basement were clean, and there were fun places for photos downstairs as well. Seating was a little tight and narrow. However, we made the mistake of booking a Wednesday matinee at the end of June. Coming in as tourists, we didn’t think anything of it. However, 2/3 of the audience were school groups and it made for a less than ideal theatre situation. There was a lot of talking, throwing food from the balcony and intermission, and a lack of understanding of theatre etiquette (and not enough adults to help support it). Given what we paid for tickets, this was really disappointing. So I would keep this in mind if choosing a weekday matinee during the British school year. Matilda as a show was impressive - I mean - those kids were amazing (especially the girl playing Matilda!)

A fantastic production in an incredibly decorated theatre. I can’t fault the care and attention to detail the staff provided on the night last nights show Matilda the musical. We had access needs and so were prompted to speak with the access team outside the theatre on arrival. Josh & another young guy were looking after us to the evening. We normally attend our local theatre but this was our first attempt taking my 91yr old Nan into london for a production. Whilst we were nervous of doing so, the care these two chaps offered was faultless, welcoming & professional. Our view was from the front row, my Nan being short, Josh brought Nan a booster cushion which helped greatly. The production was awesome & full of laughter! I loved the immersive atmosphere, using the whole of the theatre unlike my local theatre. Not to put them down, but it was great to see what can be done to boost the experience of live theatre. Once again, thank you two these two guys, you made our night!

Went here to see Matilda. What a fantastic show and experience. Theatre was just the right size as well, not too big and not too small. We sat in row D and our view of the stage was amazing. We took our 7 year old grand daughter who loved it. Be sure to grab a booster seat for your younger children, very useful.

We went to see Matilda but struggled to hear all the dialogue, especially the children's which was a shame for a musical where you really need to hear the words. However the dancing and staging were excellent. We went to the Wednesday matinée and unfortunately the theatre was full of school children. Those near us talked through the performance and kept kicking the backs of our seats. At the end they screamed so much we had to cover our ears. Not the experience we were expecting, plus our seats were over £100 each!

The Fortune Theatre, a 1920s concrete venue with 432 seats, has been showcasing the thrilling play "The Woman in Black" since 1989. Despite its smaller size compared to other theaters, visitors praise the intimate atmosphere that enhances the experience of watching performances. The detailed features of the building, such as the mezzanine bar's acid-scribed mirror and inlaid chevrons of the boxes, reflect a commitment to architectural beauty.
Small theatre but what a great show! The actors do a fabulous job of portraying all their characters and it was a very enjoyable experience. I was seated in the stalls in the third row, so while I had to look up slightly throughout the performance, it was a great view. The staff were very nice. The bar and toilets were quite small.

Great time today seeing Operation Mincemeat. Fantastic show and lovely small theatre. Had a great view from row D - would highly recommend it! The only issue was the toilets being in short supply - having used the facilities before the show, I knew to make a mad dash during the interval to avoid potential queuing. I understand it's a small venue but could benefit from more facilities on the lower level.
Josh M — Google review
It’s a tiny little theatre which is nice in that most seats have a great view (B13 was good with decent legroom and didn’t get neck ache). Wouldn’t want to be in row AA though, far too close to a high stage. The stalls are downstairs and there’s a small bar and people are constantly dodging each other. The toilets for men are tiny, if you have broad shoulders get there first. The one cubicle will require contortionist skills to get in and close the door. Operation Mincemeat was excellent though, well worth seeing.

The Duke of York's Theatre is a Victorian theater in London that offers a mix of new drama and classic performances featuring renowned actors. The venue has its own cocktail bar, adding to the overall experience. While it may feel smaller compared to other theaters, it provides comfortable seating with good views of the stage. The history of the theater adds to its charm, as it was where the document giving birth to the British Actors Equity Association was signed in 1920.

Overall, the stalls seating is decent, but there are some drawbacks to note. From Row J onwards, the overhang begins to noticeably obstruct the view of the full stage—this worsens the further back you go. Seats were comfortable with good leg room in H row stalls. Fortunately, the support poles are placed at the sides near the start and end of rows, so they don’t significantly block sightlines (unlike the more intrusive poles at the Harold Pinter Theatre). During the performance, the volume levels in the musical sections were uncomfortably loud at times. Additionally, there is frequent rumbling from the Underground, which disrupts quieter scenes and breaks the immersion. The stalls bar becomes very crowded during the intermission, which is odd as you can order by QR and it is delivered to your seat! The queues for the toilets are long during intermission: something to keep in mind for comfort during the interval.
Travelling D — Google review
I am not a regular theatre go-er but would describe my experience at the Duke of York's Theatre as average and as expected. The theatre is relatively small and narrow, spanning mulitple floors. It's a bit of a maze finding the toilets and they aren't big enough considering how many people are admitted at any one time. I entered the theatre 50 minutes before the show as I had a backback and didn't want to cause any issues on entry. This meant I spent some time in their bar, and paid £9.60 (!!!) for a bottled Camden Hells lager that's usually sold for £3 anywhere else. My advice is to stay in a nearby pub until 10-20 mins before your show starts and go straight to your seats. I watched Stereophonic here, and thought the set was great. The music and acting was brilliant, too. I would say, though, the play dragged on and definitely doesn't need to be 3-hours long. I would also say that the 'failed attempts' at perfecting the songs in the show reduced the impact and enjoyment of when the songs were played in full, albeit not a reflection of the theatre itself. Lastly, I got the impression that there are lots of restricted view seats in this theatre. I sat in the ground floor stalls central to the stage so I had no issues, but I saw lots of people leaning over the edges of the upper levels as they weren't able to see the stage, and I'm sure this had knock-on affects to people behind them. So, pay that little bit extra for good seats and enjoy the show, or risk being disappointed.

We loved the Stereophonics play at the Duke of York theatre. The sound is spot on and the single set 70s sound studio works beautifully. Having front row seats was great as we felt like mice on the floor of the studio. 🐁
Dennis B — Google review
I saw Stereophonics here. One of the most brilliant things I've ever seen. First a stageset that was so incredibly well done that you with no doubt believed you were looking at a recording studio in the 70s. And secondly actors who were nothing short of genius. Acting their parts perfectly and naturally plus singing and playing instruments with precision and soul like they were a real band. I had a wonderful time at The Duke of York's Theatre and will surely go see another show at some point.
Moritz D — Google review
The show, Stereophonic, and the staff at The Duke of York's Theatre were great! I was sitting in the Upper Circle in the last seat in Row A and the view was definitely restricted, especially if I was sitting all the way back in my seat. Thankfully, there was no one behind me, so I was able to lean forward and not obstruct anyone's view. The photo is the view I had when leaning forward. You can see that, even from there, the view of downstage left is still obstructed, which is not a huge deal for this show but something to take note of if you want an unobstructed view of the stage.
Shawna F — Google review
Don't sit in Row U. I understand that it's cheaper and at the back but that row seems to be lower than the row in front. View obscured by head in front. Also queues for toilet ridiculous (worse than other theatres I've been to).

Located in a grand 1920s building, Witness for the Prosecution - County Hall offers a variety of entertainment options, including the London Aquarium, London Dungeon, and the London Marriott Hotel. The venue was previously home to London's County Council and now hosts diverse aquatic life at the London Sealife Centre and interactive tours at the macabre-themed London Dungeon. It is also where Agatha Christie's gripping play 'Witness for the Prosecution' unfolds.
We went to see this last night. The new cast came into the theatre on Tuesday so by Friday evening it was show 4 and what a treat. The theatre , as an old courtroom, was excellent (and a lot comfier than ‘regular’ theatre seats) and wow- the cast. Amazing start to the play and loved the audience involvement. Charlie Preston as Leonard Vole was excellent- we were totally invested in his story. Playing alongside Lara Lemon as his wife was a genius pairing and the twists and turns worked so well. Along with Christopher Saul as the Judge and Roger May as Sir Wilfrid, it was a brilliant night from start to finish. Great directing and will definitely be going to see this again. Bravo!

An excellent theatre production! Agatha Christie’s story is brilliantly brought to life here - superbly acted, well staged, and made even more special by being performed inside the historic County Hall building right on the Thames. It’s easily one of my favourite shows in London recently. I won’t give away too much (it is a whodunit, after all!), but it’s absolutely worth seeing. Seating tip: Restricted-view seats can still be great value. We sat in the south balcony (left side when facing the stage) and could see about 85–90% of the action clearly - including the key areas like the witness box and main stage. The only parts we couldn’t easily see were the judge and jury unless we leaned in, but they are fairly inconsequential as they weren’t moving as you could still hear them. The balcony seats are padded and have decent legroom, but the upright “L” shape isn’t the most back-friendly, and there’s limited space to stretch your legs. Still, for a steep discount compared to others, they can well worth it. Facilities: Bars are good, toilets are just okay and can get busy during intervals. Note: The entrance is on the Waterloo Station side of County Hall, not along the Thames.

We came here to see the play and we loved it. The unique ambiance of County Hall really added to the overall experience and made us feel immersed in the story. We were sat in row B on the left side and it was a great view, even ended up sitting next to the actor playing the defence solicitor. I highly recommend seeing the play, the actors all did a great job and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Excited to attend the classic Witness for the Prosecution play. I got off at Westminster station. It took me only 8 minutes to walk to the venue via Westminster Bridge. I initially went to the riverside entrance, which turned out to be the back door. I should have continued walking until I reached the main road and turned left. Anyway, I finally arrived, and the show started 5 minutes late. The performance lasted around 2 hours and 15 minutes (15 mins intermission in between). By the time I walked out, Big Ben’s bells rang at 10 PM. If you enjoy mystery and murder-themed plays, don’t miss this one! I chose the last row, last seat (F159), right next to the jury area, which wasn’t too bad.
R A — Google review
Incredible experience, loved every second and worth every penny. Fabulous cast, staging and location I can't say enough good things about this production as it was faultless. If you can stretch to jury tickets it's well worth th extra few quid for the view, involvement and freebies. A must see...
Stevie B — Google review
This show was so good I highly recommend to anyone visiting London or living in London. It was funny and surprising and the venue was really great. Great staff and comfy seats. I reccomend getting seats 2 or 3 rows back from the front so you can see everything up close but not too close.
Clare I — Google review
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. The play has been an incredible experience we enjoyed it so much. Great actors and brilliant ending. We sat in raw B seat 34,35. Great view. Highly recommend.

Absolutely spectacular! This show exceeded every expectation. Being able to sit right in the middle of the action, with moving pieces all around you. A truly unforgettable experience.

The Donmar Warehouse is a pioneering not-for-profit theatre known for its new plays and contemporary adaptations of classic works. The small, intimate venue offers great set design and mostly good views from the seats. The front-of-house staff are friendly and go out of their way to assist patrons, adding to the overall experience. Audience members can expect to be close to the stage with comfortable seating, providing an immersive experience during performances.
I love the Donmar. It’s one of my favourite London theatres. It provides a proper west end experience in an intimate up close setting. Junior on the box office team was brilliant on my most recent visit last week. When it seemed like my friend was going to be a no show he offered to sell me another ticket and kept checking in with my to make sure I was okay. A lovely person and a credit to the donmar.
M — Google review
My first time to Donmar to see Intimate Apparel. A wonderful theatre and performance. Comfortable - certainly in comparison to some of the older west end theatres. A good part of town to meet before and after. I have since booked 3 more plays for the recently launched season.
Daniel G — Google review
Fantastic theater, a hidden gem. Wish the cafe was better, but I am not here for the food/drink anyways.
Eve R — Google review
This small theatre has great plays. The seating is on 3 sides of the stage and it often has interesting and inventive staging. There's a lift to the 2 floors and a sloped entrance. A bar on each floor.
J B — Google review
Intimate theatre not far from Covent Garden, London. A lovely atmosphere. Seats are comfortable, generally with good views, although several are at the side and looking across the stage. 2 bars and a good selection of wines.
Steven R — Google review
The theater is great, an amazing atmosphere and really nicely set up and decorated. Went to watch The Maids and I loved how close you actually are to the stage. Can’t wait to catch the next show there.
Kelly B — Google review
The Donmar never disappoints. The Maids is stunning, and Juniper Blood was equally strong. One of the best places for contemporary plays in London right now.
Maria M — Google review
Small and contemporary design. Put on good shows, and a nice intimate environment. Seats not the most comfy and difficult to access mid-row as the seat bases don't lift up.

🎭 Sing Street – One of the BEST shows we’ve ever seen. ✨ Incredible cast. 💔 Sensational emotion. 🎶 Full of unexpected twists, even as a remix. 💯 Worth it. It’s the kind of performance that makes you laugh, moves you deeply, and leaves you feeling inspired long after the curtain falls. The theatre 🎭 is a lovely space & clean. Staff are friendly. 10-15min drive from Travel Lodge Chiswick. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Tina X — Google review
Went to see Marriage Material. Theatre is clean, staff are helpful but lots of stairs! After the end of the play, very hard to filter everyone out of the building so took a while...I was on the fifth floor so took over 10 mins...the longest in my experience of leaving a theatre
Nimrit R — Google review
I watched Dracula here, September 2025. The venue itself is intimate and I like that there is a full bar and events place a floor below. The lack of accessibility options for the differently abled can be an issue. This place is perfect for a smaller production that requires a more intimate and close setting. This rendition of Dracula worked perfectly for this. Location is convenient as it was a bloc or two from the Hammersmith Station. Would see another show here again!
Nabil R — Google review
Lovely theatre, we were lucky enough to be able to have front row seats for Dracula recently. Great performance, confusing at times, but definately quality acting! Too much femanism for me, it was a dark, punchy, confident performance by verh talented young people, great effects - enjoy the jump at the start! Comfortable seats, good bar choice, and helpful staff!
Lisa C — Google review
Loved this little theatre. We were there a few weeks a go to watch the wonderful Sing Street. Great atmosphere offering tailored drinks to the theme of the show. My wife had a Guinness Prosecco which she loved, themed on the Dublin set show.
Chris S — Google review
Watched Sing Street which was absolutely amazing. The theatre is lovely as well with friendly staff. Long queue for the women’s toilet though. ( was with a lady fiend and our daughters) Sing Street is great though… the way everything is thought out and played out is brilliant.
Richard F — Google review
The 5 stars are actually for the performance I saw, Sing Street currently showing at the Lyric. If you want to see one of the best musicals it's a must. All the performers in it are fantastically talented and I was totally captivated. The theatre itself is an old theatre within a new building, thankfully it has air con!
Elizabeth S — Google review
From the moment the lights dim at the Lyric Hammersmith, one knows this is no ordinary take on the vampire myth. Dracula, reimagined through a feminist lens, is audacious, provocative, and at times uneven but always compelling. Standout performances. Umi Myers commands the stage as Mina Harker. Her Mina is not a passive bystander but the pulse of the production: wounded, furious, fierce, and utterly determined to reclaim her story. Critics have praised her as “magnetic” and “commanding.” Mei Mac’s Lucy is equally powerful; she transitions from innocence to possession with heartbreaking clarity. Jack Myers as Jonathan offers a trembling counterpoint, a man outpaced by the narrative he thinks he should lead. The ensemble, including Phoebe Naughton, Macy Seelochan, B. Terry, and others, shifts roles fluidly, bringing versatility and energy.

Stratford East is a traditional Victorian theatre that aims to attract new audiences with large-scale productions. It has been at the forefront of the shift in musical theatre, with successful shows like 'SIX' and 'Fantastically Great Women.' The venue offers an intimate theatre space and a vibrant theatre bar, making it a great place to enjoy performances and socialize. While some visitors found the seating a bit tight, many appreciated the clean facilities and easy access from the nearby station.
Visited Stratford East to watch the musical The Harder They Come - the production was phenomenal! Highly recommend you visit the show while it's still on. Be quick, seats are selling quickly! Easy to access the building, there wasn't a long wait to get in. Staff were helpful. Area is well lit and has some parking spaces - first come, first served! Easy transport links to the area too. Plus suitable stopping space for Ubers to collect passengers.

Honestly, what a lovely concept and it’s so nicely tucked away in Stratford. Absolutely love how they have something for everyone, lots of games, drinks and food. I’m still to come see a movie here but I can’t wait to come back. It’s a lovely space to spend a weekend evening with friends

Amazing Theatre full of character and what a lovely diverse, mixed age, & friendly audience. I got chatting to a wonderful lady at half time who travelled from Birmingham to this Theatre to see the show ‘The harder they come’ it was amazing full of professionalism, uplifting music, dancing, amazing acting, wonderful orchestra & if u haven’t got a celebration or excuse to come then make one as its a wonderful theatre & a great remedy for the winter blues easy to get to as its a stone throw from Stratford tube and i discovered the shopping centre opposite Westfield which was much cheaper & really fun to discover too. The Theatre has its own Caribbean restaurant which looked amazing. Every actor looked like they loved their job and their energy and enthusiasm rubbed off on the audience who were all up dancing at the finale. Check their website for shows to create happy memories its a really lovely Theatre 😊

This is one of the most important theatres in London, and also one of the friendliest. Very easy to access by tube.

Dear Theatre Royal Stratford Team, I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback on my experience attending The Harder They Come. First, I’d like to thank the team at the booking desk for their exceptional support. I had some difficulty connecting my hearing aids to my phone and the staff were incredibly helpful and patient in guiding me through the process. When I arrived at the theatre, a kind young lady assisted me with the hearing aid equipment. I had recently upgraded to digital hearing aids and was a bit unsure about the new setup, but I never once felt embarrassed, which I really appreciated. A special highlight of my visit occurred one Monday morning when I happened to pass by the back entrance. I saw a gentleman, who I believe was playing the main character's friend. I excitedly called out, "I’m coming to see you with my daddy Saturday afternoon, please make it feel like it’s a Friday night!" To my delight, he responded with, "Of course!" he then asked, "Do you know why?" I said “Why?” and he replied, "Because we’re professionals." I smiled and said, "I know!" True to his word, the performance was absolutely fantastic, vocals galore and additional songs lovely and my dad and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. though I have to admit, my dad did do his usual little snooze during the quieter moments of the show! (Giggles) Maybe first half, before interval, a little long. One thing I do want to mention is that, while I enjoy the overall experience, I tend to find that the food at the theatre can sometimes be disappointing. There seems to be no comparison to the quality of the meals served by the gentleman who used to cook there eons ago. I understand this is part of the overall experience, so I’ve learned to go with the flow, though it would be lovely to see a return to the same high standard. A few weeks later, after the show, I went to personally thank the team at the booking desk once again, as their support really made the visit more enjoyable. Thank you all for making my visit so memorable, and I look forward to coming back again soon!

Interesting old theatre. Small seats and not a lot of leg room, but reasonably comfortable. Not much rake, but stage is high to compensate. Suggest you avoid the first 5 rows.
Derek L — Google review
This theatre may be small, but it’s truly mighty. Stratford East is an absolute gem, consistently putting on high-quality, professional productions that rival some of the bigger West End venues. The staff are warm, welcoming, and clearly love what they do, which makes every visit feel special. I genuinely love this place — it’s one of those rare theatres that still has heart.

The Dominion Theatre, an elegant 1929 art deco building with a striking Portland stone facade, is renowned for showcasing top West End and Broadway shows. Visitors can revel in the romance and rock 'n' roll of beloved musicals like Grease and Dirty Dancing. The theater offers comfortable seating with great views of the stage, efficient entry procedures, and well-organized facilities.
Beautiful theatre. Seats are comfortable and somewhat spacious, definitely better than Ryanair aeroplane seats. The decoration is nice and classic. There aren’t many columns so basically all seats have good views. We watched the Devil wears Prada here. The storyline is pretty the same as the movie. The security checks move quite quickly. I’ll suggest to arrive 20-30 mins before the show time so you can relax, get a drink, use the loo and catch up with your friends before it starts.
J. Q — Google review
Nice venue nice show. Toilet facilities need improvement though. Toilet cubicles were way too small to squeeze in. I am only 160cm tall and weigh 110lb, so I don't consider myself too big in size to use the facilities. The design of necessary facilities were simply very poor.
Grace Y — Google review
I visited the Dominion Theatre to watch The Devil Wears Prada and had a great overall experience. Entry to the venue was quick and easy, with minimal waiting around. The bar staff were friendly and efficient, serving drinks very speedily even during busy intervals. The toilets were clean and well-maintained, and I never experienced an unreasonably long queue, which makes me think there are multiple facilities spread across the venue (a big plus for a busy theatre). All in all, a smooth, enjoyable visit that made the theatre experience just as good as the show itself.
Priya S — Google review
Wow! It was a magnificent show. We were there to watch “The Devil Wears Prada” it was a stunning play to experience. The Dominion Theatre was very clean and easy to navigate place. Easy to get to via train as well. Very organised and well managed. The show was brilliant.
Fathima M — Google review
# A Stylish Show with an Obstructed View My experience watching *The Devil Wears Prada* musical at the Dominion Theatre was a mixed bag of fashion-forward entertainment and physical discomfort. The production itself was absolutely fabulous. The costumes were stunning, the performances were energetic and engaging, and the musical numbers brought the iconic story to life in spectacular fashion. The cast delivered powerful vocals, and the staging captured the glamorous yet cutthroat world of high fashion perfectly. The humor translated beautifully to the stage, and I found myself thoroughly entertained by the witty dialogue and memorable songs. However, my enjoyment was significantly hampered by my seating situation. I had the misfortune of sitting behind two very tall individuals, and to make matters considerably worse, one was a Sikh gentleman wearing a turban. While I have absolute respect for religious practices, this unfortunately meant my view was almost completely blocked. I spent the entire performance craning my neck at uncomfortable angles, trying desperately to catch glimpses of the stage action. By the end, my neck was incredibly sore and stiff. Despite the viewing challenges, the show's quality shone through whenever I could see it. **Rating: 5/3.5 stars** - Excellent production, terrible sightlines.
Somchai A — Google review
Loved the whole experience of going to see Will and Ralf. The theatre itself was easy to get to for me and my friend travelling from hertfordshire, by train and a bus. On arrival there were no ridiculous queues as there were so many doors open all manned by staff ready to check bags and tickets. The staff were attentive throughout the event even when there were audience members not following the no recording rules, they asked them politely to stop. There was a beautiful display for the current show of the devil wears Praia, of stunning dresses which I thought added to the atmosphere as well as having something nice to look at when waiting in a bar queue. Bar queues were quite long but staff worked really hard to serve everyone efficiently. The show itself was brilliant, Will and ralf really engaged with the audience and there were plenty of laughs. Would 100% go again to see Will and ralf and also attend the Dominion theatre.
Sarah B — Google review
Caught the showing on October 6th and have to say that the service to enter, audio and seating was very good. The logistics were great and the spaces in side in terms of comfort good, easy to move around. One downside - the toilets. They were very small and unable to handle the volume during the intermission (I went to men’s toilet, and still, it was very crowded)

Wyndham's Theatre is a Victorian venue with original features that hosts contemporary works featuring familiar stars. The theatre has seen productions like the RSC's and Wise Children's adaptation of the award-winning 1990 novel, 'The Buddha of Suburbia.' While some visitors find the seating cramped, others appreciate the comfortable seats and good legroom. The bar and cloakroom facilities are convenient, but some find the toilets limited.
We went to see born with teeth and it was amazing. Even with more affordable seats in the grand circle, the view was good, temperature right and seats comfortable . Preordered our drinks which was easy to collect, clean bathrooms and easy location very close to tube station. Also did stage door and staff was extremely polite.

Watched Born with Teeth on a rainy Wednesday evening. The show... ahhhmazing! The staff, friendly and considerate, in particular, an usher on the inside near P seating area. I was worried about being so far away from the stage that I wouldn't be able to see, but the theatre is intimate so cute! The facilities were clean and easily accessible. There is also a check in cloakroom, but I didn't need to use it.
Emerald L — Google review
Beautiful theatre, probably one of the most stunning I've seen. Could have done without the security at stage door behaving like thugs; both the theatre employed and the actor employed security. Speaking to fans in the most condescending way I've heard (and I've toured with some of the most famous bands in the world). There's absolutely no need for it. Remember these fans are paying your wages.
Caro D — Google review
The seats were fairly comfortable and visibility was great. There were plenty of friendly staff available to help and answer questions. Beautiful space, amazing play! The acoustics were quite good. As a first time attendee at Wyndham theatre, I was confused because all of my emails came from Delfont Macintosh, which is the group that owns the theatre, but NOT where you should go to see the play!

I love the programme here - just went to see Born With Teeth (highly recommended!!) - and the size of the theatre. It feels very intimate. Plus the location right next to Leicester Square Station makes it so easy to access!

Beautiful theatre! And „Born With Teeth” witch Ncuti Gatwa and Edward Bluemel is absolutely amazing - sexy, funny and so so smart. In love!

Quality service from the front door, incredible furniture, decor and lights like a celestial dream. I didn't mind walking up to the upper circle because after a warm day, it was really cool. The cider is worth a try also, £6.05 for a Leicester sq theatre wasn't the end of the world. A fascinating play- (Ewan Mcgregor), even from the top row. On display, the frames of shows I've missed recently included the very talented Catherine Tate/Tait will just show you the quality of shows on at Wyndham's. Don't get your phones out during the play, trust me, the staff are well trained.
