Nestled within the luxurious Sea Containers hotel, Lyaness is a chic cocktail bar that boasts stunning river views and an elegant marble bar. This trendy spot elevates the traditional afternoon tea experience with its unique Sri Lankan High Tea, available on weekends. Guests can indulge in a delightful array of savory bites like masala-spiced tuna sandwiches and scones paired with clotted cream, alongside sweet treats such as pandan Swiss rolls and devilled eggs.
Some of the best cocktails available in London. Set on Sea Containers. Beautiful hotel. Really innovative choices, not seen anywhere else. Using unusual unique muxes, cornflake infusion did instance. Excellent DJ and right by the Thames. Well worth a visit
Antony W — Google review
Wow, amazing cocktail creations and a lovely view of river Thames. The cocktail creations are described in detail in the menu, which helps to find something matching your taste and preferences. Beside the cocktails the food is excellent! Try the tacos - some of the most amazing tacos I ever had in my life!
R. T — Google review
A incredibly beautiful cocktail bar with beautiful drinks crafted with an immersive storyline. Whilst a bit pricy, the service is impeccable and the overall experience is worth it for a nice treat. I tried the Baloo-Za and Cosmo Salad, both were wonderful with a fruity taste. I also tried the Vantapink Gimlink, rather strong but a must try in my opinion. There is a special menu for vegans, I would recommend the blistered peppers and aubergine dip as they pair wonderfully with the drinks.

A Michelin-Star Experience in Cocktail Form Visiting London with my dad from NYC, we’re always on the hunt for unique experiences—and Lyaness absolutely delivered. My parents had seen a CBS Morning segment featuring Mr Lyan, and my mom insisted we visit while my dad and I were in town to see the NY Jets in the NFL London game (Let’s just say the cocktails earned a far better review than the Jets’ performance that day). In the weeks leading up to our trip, my dad could not stop talking about one thing: camel milk as a cocktail ingredient. The Drinks - We can totally see why this place is considered the Michelin 3-star equivalent of cocktail bars. The drinks were smooth, balanced, and just the right amount of funky. But what truly elevates Lyaness is the experience—from reading through their novel-like menu in the eclectic hotel setting to the exceptional staff service (more on that in a moment). Multiple lovely staff members took time to answer our questions and explain the flavor profiles of special ingredients. One server, Stevie, introduced herself with a handshake, asked our names, and we shared the story of my parents seeing the CBS segment, how my mom wished she could be here, and my dad’s excitement about the camel milk. Neither my dad nor I are scotch drinkers, so we were slightly disappointed to discover the camel milk drink (Moo Reed) was scotch-based. After reading the beautifully detailed menu and consulting with the staff, we played it relatively safe with our first round—I chose a gin-based cocktail with herbaceous notes I knew I’d enjoy, and my dad went for an Old Fashioned variation. After tasting how smooth and complementary all the ingredients and spirit pairings were, I felt emboldened to try a scotch-based cocktail for round two. I had my eye on a different one (not the camel milk), but encouraged my dad to finally order the Moo Reed he’d been talking about for weeks. Shocker: he’s more set in his ways than I am and stuck with another "safe choice". Am I suddenly a scotch drinker? Because my second drink was even better than the first! Even my dad admitted, “Yeah, I could drink this.” The Service That Stole the Show - After two rounds, we asked for the bill. When Stevie brought it over, she handed us a copy of the book-like menu (we’d asked earlier about purchasing one for my mom) with a note tucked inside. She also handed us two takeaway coffee cups—and yes, you guessed it they contained the Moo Reed cocktail my dad had been obsessing over but was too skeptical to order. As we left, the entire bar and waitstaff waved, smiled, and wished us a safe journey home. Needless to say, Stevie and the whole team went above and beyond. And the punchline? My dad ended up loving the Moo Reed most of all. If you’re looking for an unforgettable cocktail experience in London, Lyaness is absolutely worth the visit.
Madison S — Google review
First time visiting…. LOVED It! The service was impeccable! The devote music and atmosphere was chilled and sophisticated. Had snacks… well presented and tasty! Seating was comfortable and had a great view on the the Thames. Champagne ( we had 3 bottles) was crisp and cool. Will definitely visit again!
Tina K — Google review
Lyaness is without a doubt one of the best bars in London. The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for great conversations, laughter, and exceptional cocktails. Every visit is made even better by Serge — hands down the best bartender in London! He’s not only a master of mixology but also has that rare talent for making everyone feel welcome and special. If you’re looking for the ideal place to relax and enjoy perfect drinks and service, Lyaness is the place to be.
Linda C — Google review
Whilst staying at Sea Containers, I visited Lyaness for a pre-dinner drink. The bar is beautiful, with a luxurious and opulent feel to it. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and were happy to offer advice on the rather perplexing cocktail menu. The cocktails at Lyaness were quite experimental, so if you're after something outside of the 'norm', you'll certainly find it here. They also do a wide range of other drinks if you didn't fancy a cocktail. The prices are on the heavy side, but for the location, service and the quality of the drinks, I think it's worth the price.
Joel P — Google review
Excellent upscale bar with really nice and attentive staff to go along with the good atmosphere and vibe. Great choice to have a few drinks and unwind with some great and innovative cocktails. Nice location near a lot of sights. Shout out to the amazing workers on the bar!

Cocktail bar

Coffee shop
Bar Termini is a popular espresso and cocktail bar located on Old Compton Street. It is the brainchild of cocktail king Tony Conigliaro and Illy coffee's Marco Arrigo. The bar offers a retro space with banquettes, bare brick, and waiters in white jackets and black ties. During the day, it serves up speedy coffees alongside burrata or prosciutto crudo, while at night, it's all about the cocktails.
It is the best bar in London for sure! Atmosphere, service and quality drinks are top notch! I don’t usually drink Negroni but this is something else!!! Don’t miss out when in Soho. Make sure you also try parma ham and coffe! 🔥
Iza P — Google review
Fell in love with this bar on my first visit. Beautiful inside, lovely little drinks menu, great Marsala Martini and tasty Negronis. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff are fantastic and I loved the prosciutto that was sliced to order at the bar. Going to be visiting every time I'm in London
Paul B — Google review
After a disappointing dinner at Fallow, decided to grab a night cap at Bar Termini. Always good. Been coming here since 2015 and it didn’t disappoint. It soothe my disappointment from dinner with excellent Negroni and great people
Daniel C — Google review
Considered one of the best cocktail bars in London for a reason. Small and charming Italian style cocktail experience, the small Negronis are an absolute must have. Tried the death in Venice today (Campari, prosecco, bitters) and I was the refreshing king drink I was looking for. Marsala martini was another standout. Oh and if you love their Negronis as much as I do they sell them by the bottle!
Christian C — Google review
The best place in London by far!! Amazing cocktails, super good espresso and the service is perfection, everyone is super professional and friendly. 5 stars and a kiss!!
Fran P — Google review
Our go to everytime we visit London. The staff are amazing given the fact that they’re getting very popular most especially in the bev industry yet still they remain down to earth and not let the ego get the best of them. Banging drinks! 10/10 across the board!
TS — Google review
My daughter booked us a table on August Bank Holiday Monday, for cocktails before going to see Les Miz. Honestly it was the most wonderful experience. Such beautiful, friendly people who clearly have a passion for what they do and want their visitors to have the best time. So polite, so professional and a vibe that is unrivalled. Killer cocktails The Death In Venice is to die for!!!

Very busy, so definitely book. Lovely staff with great atmosphere. Some niche different cocktails, albeit small, but with fantastic service. Not going here to drink lots, but more for a nice evening out.

Pub
Bar
The pub Paradise by way of Kensal Green is a popular nightspot with a vintage-style atmosphere. It's known for its great restaurant, which serves only freshly produced British dishes from locally sourced ingredients. The pub attracts a mix of bohemian and Victorian customers who enjoy late night parties.
Great atmosphere, both Staff and security friendly, food was delicious and well presented. The only issues our group had was with drinks which took 15-20 mins to receive once ordered and in 2 occasions we had to remind the waitress about our drinks.
Mr J — Google review
We had a fantastic experience at this beautiful pub on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were really impressed with the building's charm and the spacious outdoor areas, which would be perfect on a dry day. We're definitely coming back to try their Sunday roast – it's on our list!
Julian L — Google review
Unfortunately for my husband and I we did not get the opportunity to sample the Sunday Roast that was advertised on the chalk hoax at the front of this establishment. We did not book and arrived at 1.45pm on a Sunday. We asked if we could have a table for 2 and the staff member told us we could have any table we wanted as the venue was not even half full; even the bar was not full. She sad she would get us done menus and as we went to choose a table she came back and said “sorry we don’t take walk-ins. You will have to leave”. We said we only wanted a quick meal and she said “normally you can but the staff want to leave early today and if you have a problem with that you have to speak to the manager. I can’t help you”. We are both in our 60’s and we’re very quietly spoken. We are visitors to this area and we’re quite taken aback by the attitude of the staff. We said “no trouble we understand”, and then left. We then went to a pub around the corner who were very happy to accomodate us without a booking and we had a lovely roast meal. On our way back to our apartment we noticed that the pub who said they don’t take walk-in’s was still open and advertising Sunday lunch! Whilst we understand that certain things may change at the last minute in hospitality, the staff need to be better trained in how to speak with customers and also the venue might want to improve their advertising by saying “no walk-ins” bookings only!!!! Note. I tried to book online in the morning but the website would not respond. Not bc a very warm welcome for our first time in this area. After this experience I went on another review website and saw that this has happened before to other visitors so best to avoid the place altogether until the manager gets a good handle of their service and communication standards!
Rema T — Google review
We had a little party in Paradise , the staff were amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Kristina (not sure if this is the right spelling of her name), the manager, she was absolutely fantastic. No request was too much. The food was delicious, we ordered different boards and there was plenty of food to go around. We were also allowed to play our own music as it was Sunday and there was no DJ. Lovely experience!
Malgorzata M — Google review
Pleasant Sunday lunch. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Hard to tell if the faded grandeur is for effect or for real. Lack of a working coffee machine suggests the latter. Also, took order for fish and chips, but had run out. We were lunching late, so fair enough to have run out, but helpful to know that before ordering, to avoid fish and chips regret.
Sonny P — Google review
Sunday lunch: I`m almost hesitant to drop the food down a star, because in terms of flavour, portion size and presentation it was excellent, however one of our party of 4 said his chicken was a bit cold. These things do occasionally happen, and waitress was v good and offered to warm it up immediately, but he chose not to interrupt the birthday party, so we received a credit. We spent well at the table, but this was still a very generous offer, and excellent customer service. The waitress was a star and I very much appreciated her consideration and attention for my birthday lunch. There`s no question that we will be back
David H — Google review
We had a wonderful time! Food amazing and the service was just perfect! The cocktails were delicious,They got us a table by the bar after our dinner so we could dance… shame it was a little quiet but we still a nice dance after dinner :) I would have liked the DJ to read the room as his music was a little repetitive but otherwise great night! Thanks 😊

Had dinner with my family, and everyone loved their dishes. The kids enjoyed the margherita pizza, while I had the grilled seabass — fresh and full of flavor. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place you want to visit again.

Excellent service. All the food was good, but the Miso Aubergine stands out! super smoky and flavourful, highly recommend it! It was my birthday, and the staff made it really special with a little sparkler and shots. The cocktails are all really cool too, with a fun element of theatre at the table. Would come back again!

I had this place saved to go for a very long time and, casually, my boyfriend took me here for lunch for my birthday. It's probably one of the best places we've been in London on a date, considering the experience, the food and the price. We had the set menu for £25, which includes a cocktail, a starter and a main (plus a couple extra sides and another cocktail each). I wasn't expecting much from the food for this price, but it was surprisingly good and ended up full. I wish there were more offers like this in other bars/restaurants in London. It got busier the later it got in the afternoon and the vibe is very nice. The atmosphere inside is really cool, from the decoration to the music, and very nice cocktails with fancy glasses. We had a good experience with the service too, very nice and attentive. I would recommend this place as a fun date spot or for drinks/food with a few friends. I will definitely go back!

This place is amazing! The vibe is brilliant and created by the staff. The DJ is also spot on 👌🏼. The staff are so attentive and are keen to make sure you have the best night without too overbearing. So friendly. The food is good too but the cocktails made the night for me. I cannot wait to go back!

The Caribbean is in Islington!! Great music all night long, the staff are incredible, service top notch. The food selection is epic, we actually shared different options as we "wanted everything". The margarita flavours were unique and expertly done, packed a punch too. Can't wait to go back 💛

I’m really disappointed that my review is not a more positive one. The decor is stunning, I really like the vibe it gives but unfortunately there were a lot of aspects that let it down. Firstly, the seating wasn’t great, I’m pretty short so sitting on the soft seats with such high tables is not ideal. The food was only average and it was only worth it because we had 50% off the la carte menu. For full price, I’d definitely be unhappy. The squid didn’t taste fresh and the jerk chicken was ok but not the best I’ve had. The one good thing I did really enjoy was the chips! Only a few of the drinks were on their happy hour at the time, they were still priced at £8 as opposed to closer to £13. So it wasn’t a massive deal. The alcoholic drinks were good and pretty strong. I decided to order a non alcoholic drink but that was not very nice and cost more than the alcoholic drinks?! The drinks in the end (4 of them) came up more than the food. I left full but not satisfied as my expectations were a lot higher than what I experienced. The instagram really sold it to me but sadly not what I got. Loved the decor and that’s probably it. Couldn’t say I’d recommend and wouldn’t be coming back unfortunately.

Inigo our waiter was an incredible server as soon as we walked through the door. He made sure the vibes were there. He was very attentive and super friendly. We left wanting to carry on the night 😆 xx

We went for a rum tasting mid afternoon during the week so it was quiet. This said, we had a great time. The rum tasting was brilliant and there is a form where you guess what the pros have said about the smells and flavours. We had other cocktails and they were really nice. The winner here is the food though! I had the plantain with pulled beef and it was ruddy lovely - one of the best meals I've had in ages! The staff were great too. I've already recommended this place to friends and plan on going back at some point

Oriole is a subterranean cocktail bar in Covent Garden with an explorer-style decor and live music. The bar offers a variety of signature and draught cocktails at the Bamboo Bar, along with an a la carte menu featuring dishes inspired by Argentinian and Nikkei cuisine. As the sister venue to Nightjar, Oriole is known for its eerie yet exciting location in Smithfield Markets, where guests can enjoy live jazz and blues performances.
We absolutely loved our time at Oriole. It absolutely hit the spot for a proper speakeasy vibe. The staff were 10/10 and I swear they were trying to get us drunk on water. Every time we drank they were topped back up! They were more than accommodating for some very difficult customers sat beside us. The food was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The live music from Gypsy Dynamite just topped the night off. Thank you all for a wonderful evening.

We were so impressed! It’s not usual you get good cocktails AND great food. We loved the cocktails we had, ask for reccommendations, they are great at advising. We did the £60 offer - live music, 3 courses and cocktail. Beef tartare and seabass ceviche were fantastic. Also enjoyed the pork cheek and lamb rump for mains. Desserts - Eton mess and Chocolate delice - both delicious. Dim lit, chic, perfect date spot. Can’t fault a thing and will come back!
Jana A — Google review
The cocktails here are excellent. Especially, loved those form the Africa section. The food dishes were mostly misses. The charred octopus was a bit too rubbery and the ceviche and pork chops were okayish as well. The trout was excellent! Also, the tres leches is the perfect dessert to share. We were looking forward to the solo pianist jazz performance but it lacked the NYC jazz vibes we were looking for. Much more subdued and more conducive to dates to chat as he performed. Nothing to complain but just not the vibe we were looking forward to.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We visited on a Thursday for one of their jazz/blues nights and it was lovely. Food was amazing, the band were so sweet and the cocktails were incredible! I’d really like to shine a light on every single one of our servers who each were so friendly and made us feel welcomed. Definitely coming back!

This was our favorite cocktail bar from our most recent trip to London. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere and vibes were immaculate. The staff was attentive and friendly and helped us make our drink choices. We also had some small plates, which were excellent. There was fantastic live music playing while we were there (think Django Reinhardt style guitar). This is not an inexpensive place to drink, but you will not be disappointed.

Had so much fun here last night. The live Latin band amped up the vibes. Cocktails were delicious. Atmosphere was kicking, and serving teams were very friendly and gracious. Really great way to round off the evening 💛🥂

What a an incredible experience, start to finish. Service was impeccable all throughout our visit. The entertainment was spectacular and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The food was so full of flavour and was worth every penny, albeit the pricing was more than reasonable. I highly recommend dinner and a show. If I’m ever back in London, I’ll be back here again. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and make sure you have everything you need whenever you need it. If I could rate it more than 5 I would. Cheers.

Satan's Whiskers is a compact cocktail bar located in Bethnal Green, London. Despite its unassuming appearance, it has gained a reputation as one of the best drinking destinations in the area. The bar attracts a lively crowd, including many from the bar industry, and offers fantastic drinks at reasonable prices. The decor is quirky with exposed brick walls adorned with vintage liquor posters and taxidermy animals. A hip-hop soundtrack adds to the trendy vibe of this bartenders' bar.
Ask for Finn. The classics done right on an innovative refreshing way. A lot of good Libations on the menu but the bartender are a level up. Great place in an authentic neighborhood. Favorites are takes on Negroni, Old Fashioned and Mezcal based drinks

A cosy neighbourhood bar with inviting saloon-style charm and a rotating daily menu. The team is focused on solid craftsmanship over pushing boundaries, and while there’s potential for creativity, off-menu requests were gently steered back to familiar ground. Drinks ranged from well-balanced and enjoyable to a bit juice-heavy and less spirit-forward. With the menu changing daily, each visit could feel quite different — there’s definitely room for this place to grow into something special. A nice local spot with good intentions and solid foundations.

Incredible. I saw Adam Aaronson’s blog post on HackerNews about drinking all 102 IBA cocktails, and he said that Satan’s Whiskers is the best bar in the world. I happened to be in London so I decided to check it out, and it was fabulous. I do not drink so I got a nonalcoholic East 8 Hold Up. They can make 900 different cocktails and the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and kind.

I came to this bar a few times, always great vibes and drinks. Went last weekend with a friend & I was careless with leaving my bags inside while out for a cigarette, and it turned out some thieves came in and stole our bags (totally NOT the servers’ fault!!! We were careless with it and they had so much on their plate already cuz it was a busy night, and the thieve was obviously skilled). I went out to chase after the thieve, and Keila our server ran out to tell us what she saw on the CCTV and described how the thieve looked like - it’s thanks to her that we chased down the thieve and GOT OUR BAGS BACK! So huge huge kudos to Keila (there was one more blonde lady server who was really helpful but I’m really sorry I forgot your name!), you guys are just incredible. I love the bar even more now & have nothing but praise for everyone serving that night!

Tucked away behind a bookcase, The Vault is a chic and refined bar offering classic cocktails in a hidden speakeasy setting. Located at number 3 Greek Street, this underground Soho bar can be accessed through a secret door disguised as a bookcase at Milroys Whisky Shop. The dimly lit space features dark wood paneling and vintage furniture, creating an intimate and secretive ambiance.
I didn’t even know this place existed. The Vault is in the basement of Millroy’s of Soho. It is behind the bookcase once you go down the stairs. It’s a whole new world. It’s atmospherically lit and the bartender was excellent. My date didn’t know what he wanted to drink so he was asked what he types of drinks he liked and they made him up something which he really liked. I had a coconut butter old fashioned and it was delicious. We went on a Monday night and it wasn’t very busy and that’s the way I like places.

A hidden speakeasy bar behind a bookshelf, super creatively designed and worth a visit. Prices are not cheep, but they also have beers if you are not into cocktails. I actually took a Swiss lager which was actually one of the best lagers I have ever had so I am certain they had great cocktails too. The barman was super chill and direct taken good care of all the guests. If you always wanted to try something mysterious, this is a good start.

The experience was undoubtedly cool. The hidden bookcase, the staff were friendly and the ambiance was good, if a bit loud. However the main show, the drinks, were bad. For £16 (includes a default 15% tip) a drink you'd expect at least some garnish or an incredible flavour. Both of our drinks was completely mediocre. It's a shame, all pomp and no substance.

Wine bar
Gordon's Wine Bar, established in 1890, is a historic 19th-century wine bar located near the Southbank in London. The bar offers an extensive selection of wines and French-style food in a unique setting. Its candlelit vaulted cellars create an enchanting ambiance, adorned with old oak barrels filled with sherries and port, historic photographs, and newspaper clippings.
Loved this bar. Very difficult to get a spot inside, but for a decent selection of international wines and port, its fun. Cheese platter is good too! We lined up 30 mins on a Friday night for 2 people to get seated outside. There was no spots inside unless you stand at the bar. The cave area is very cool but super dark!
Kaz B — Google review
Stepping into Gordon's Wine Bar, London's oldest wine bar, feels like stumbling upon a hidden secret. After asking our hotel concierge for a cozy and unique spot, my friend and I arrived around 10 p.m., ready for a memorable night. The place itself is pure magic. The candlelit, vaulted cellar with its ancient brick arches creates an atmosphere that’s both rustic and intimate truly unlike any other bar in London. We were told the kitchen was mostly closed, with only cheese and charcuterie available. Despite being hungry, the unique setting convinced us to stay, and we're glad we did. We ordered a cheese plate and found the portions a bit small, but the quality was high, and it paired perfectly with the excellent wine selection by the staff. Service was just okay, but given our late arrival and the approaching last call, we couldn't fault the staff. We were the ones who showed up at the last minute! Gordon's is a true London institution. It's a place you visit for the ambiance and the history as much as for the wine. While our first visit was a bit rushed, it was enough to convince me that this place is something special. I will return soon.
Ali K — Google review
We dropped in here for a relaxing drink and some cheese. The service was very good and there's a nice relaxing vibe. We sat outside and there's plenty of seating available. Inside is very dark and quirky but equally as relaxing. Our wine and cheese was excellent. Cheese is served by the slice with bread rolls, chutney and pickles and well presented. The cheese slices are quite big. A little pricey but we really enjoyed it and will definitely return the next time we visit London.
Kieran F — Google review
What a fantastic experience! I read that this was London’s oldest wine bar and couldn’t wait to check it out. The wine selection is extensive and the snacks are delicious and reasonably priced. We got the smoked trout pâté and it was fantastic. But the best part is the atmosphere - some of the tables are set underground in a cave-like setting and you can hear the tube passing by. It is very cool!
Jessica J — Google review
Gordon’s Wine Bar was fantastic! I’m so glad it was recommended to me. The wine was excellent, and the cheese selection was amazing, I couldn’t get enough! I especially fell in love with the cheese boards; they were perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!
Antony V — Google review
There’s no other place in London quite like Gordon’s. Tucked beneath the city streets, lit only by candles, it feels less like a wine bar, and more like a forgotten scene from a novel. The walls are stained with time, the tables are close, and the air is thick with whispers, laughter, and red wine. You don’t come here for comfort — you come for mood, for mystery, for the feeling of slipping out of the present and into something timeless. Come early if you want a seat. Order a glass, let the candle burn low, and stay until the past and present blur together.
Faye W — Google review
Stumbled upon this while walking through on the way to Charring Cross station. We were in the mood for wine and a snack and after seeing how busy it was, and it's long history, decided ti try it. We did have to queue for a table, maybe 15 minutes, but it felt like it went by fast. It's such a good way to try different wines or just a nice place to take a rest or catch up with friends. We got 2 different glasses of red wine each and we shared the Portuguese mezze board, which was delicious and very generous! We even got offered more bread for free when we ordered our second glasses of wine. The staff were attentive and friendly, though I did feel sorry for them working in the rain, as the covers don't cover the whole alley. We stayed dry and warm though thanks to the heaters in the overhead canopy. Would go back!
Abbie P — Google review
Just the inside alone is worth a visit: the old, dimly lit cellars are unique and the photos and old newspapers on the wall add to the ambience. Great selection of wines and cheeses, and a broader menu featuring French inspired small plates that can be paired with the broad wine list. Great outside seating area as well, but the inside is truly unique.

The Piano Works in Farringdon is a vibrant bar and restaurant housed in a historic Victorian warehouse. This lively venue features talented pianists who perform live, taking song requests from the audience to create an interactive and entertaining musical experience. Open until 2am on weekends, The Piano Works offers an extensive cocktail menu including popular choices like zombies, pornstar martinis, and Watermelon Ginbulls.
My first visit was quite an experience! While the food and drinks were mediocre, the bottomless brunch for two hours was reasonably priced. The atmosphere and exceptional service from the staff truly made the visit outstanding. Although it’s wheelchair-friendly, parking can be a hassle, so I strongly recommend using public transport. This place is definitely worth a visit!

This was my first visit to this food and music venue in Farringdon. I arrived for the happy hour session from 5pm to 7pm and was warmly greeted by 'Chris' our server for the night. The venue was quiet to begin with hence only 4 stars for atmosphere, but things were warming up as we left at 7pm. The drinks were very reasonable and its a great concept, with the audience choosing the songs to be played/sung by the resident musicians. Good fun all round and well worth a visit if you are in the area. Bookings are required though. We had a slight issue with our food order but Chris resolved this and we received complimentary drinks for the mix up. Spot on.

What a night! This is the second time I’ve been to the Piano Works and we were really impressed. We booked a table a coupe of weeks in advance, not expecting a booth right next to the dance floor. Amazing. Early evening the music is a bit more chill. Two people two pianos. But by 9pm we had a full on band playing every song you could wish for. The front of house staff were on the ball. We had table service which made such a difference. And £26 for a bottle of wine is pretty decent in London. From Green Day to Alicia Keys to Cindy Lauper - they played it all. We’ve not boogied like it was 1990 since, well 1990! Great job Piano Works!

I went to Piano Works last night with some friends and we had such a great evening! The live music was fantastic with lots of fun musical surprises, and the singers really kept the energy going all night. We arrived when it wasn’t too busy, which made it perfect to get a good spot. The food came out very quickly and was really tasty. Service at the bar was excellent—especially from Roberto, who was so welcoming and really went out of his way to make sure my group enjoyed the night. Overall, amazing music, great food, and brilliant staff. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends!

Big thanks to Jimmy and Roberto for making the evening memorable—I’ll definitely be coming back!

We came here as a group of 4 celebrating a birthday. Overall it was fine. Food was fine. Drinks were very slow coming around. We asked one staff member to top us up and she flat out said no without giving an explanation. Last orders were nearly 40 mins before the end of the allotted time which felt so stingy. It took about 15 mins at the start to receive our drinks so in total about 1 hour of bottomless. For £55. The whole idea is to be able to request songs but it felt like the band had a set list that they played from, with the odd 1 or 2 requests thrown in. None of the songs we requested were played. Overall we felt it was overpriced, better experiences elsewhere in London with more bang for your buck.

Really enjoyed the event! The staff were super nice, and the visuals throughout were insane. The venue itself was pretty cool, I especially liked the techno stage! Also really appreciated that they offered free tap water. If I had one suggestion, it would be to slightly lower the music volume, as it felt extremely loud at times. Overall a great experience!

Bought a £13 ticket to get there before 11pm - there was no queue. Walked through a metal detector and got a basic frisk down by the security guard. Before you go inside, there's a very large undercover outdoor/smokers area with a bar. The music isn't too loud here, you could easily have a conversation. The main floor area was massive and had sitting booths to the back and an upstairs area to overlook the dancefloor. The lighting effects were very cool here and you could see where the DJ was playing. They played house in this area. Two sugarfree redbull vodkas cost £23 - very expensive for 2std drinks. Then I bought two rekorderligs and it cost £13.60 (2.6std drinks) - very reasonable. Then I bought two Gin & Juice by Dre & Snoop for £6 for 3std drinks!! They were absolutely disgusting though, nothing 'juicy' about them - the two should stick to making music! The bartender even provided a sticker to cover my made drinks with - I guess drink spiking is a huge problem in the UK. Up stairs to the right was another dancefloor with its own bar area - they were playing Hip Hop, it was very crowded and you could stand right infront of the DJ. The light works here were very basic. Downstairs to the left was another massive dancefloor area with no bar. The light works and sound were very good here. The DJ was above the dancefloor and played house. Upstairs and to the left was an area overlooking the dancefloor with a bar and toilets (which were very clean and nicer than the ones below). It wasn't crowded here, well airconditioned and there were plenty of booths to sit at, or even take a nap, LOL! They played mostly House but I didn't really hear any bangers or well-known tracks. They also seemed to play songs in full. Female toilets were to the left of the main dancefloor and were huge, probably 20 toilets in a well-lit area, though they had that ridiculous pull-a-single-sheet of toilet paper at a time there. It said free wifi was available but I wasn't able to connect to it. If I lived in London, I would come here every weekend - the layout, the sound systems, the lightworks, everything is awesome.

Ministry of Sound is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves nightlife. The atmosphere is electric, the sound system is phenomenal (you feel the music as much as you hear it), and the DJs keep the energy high all night long. The venue itself is well laid out with multiple rooms, each giving a slightly different vibe, so there’s something for everyone. Security and staff were professional and friendly, and the whole place felt safe and well run despite how busy it gets. The only downside for me was the price of drinks – they were definitely on the expensive side, which takes the shine off slightly. That said, the overall experience more than makes up for it, and if you’re looking for an unforgettable night out in London, Ministry of Sound delivers in style

WHAT A GREAT PLACE to go out with your friends!!! I went there with a shuttle bus from my uni and only paid 10£ for a ticket or even less, maybe 5£ but its so worth it.

Ministry was vibes last night! Music was banging, crowd was lit, and the VIP area? Next level. Chill spot, great service, and the view was sick. 100% doing that again.
Davide C — Google review
My friends and I came here for Dillon Francis. There are 2 rooms with amateur DJs, 1 main stage, and the main hall with the bar. The lounge room upstairs was so crowded that you could not access it at all during the night. The bar felt safe for the most part, metal detector and searches to get in, lots of security in the building. They have a few VIP options with seating in the main bar area and VIP upstairs. Drinks were reasonably priced. The crowd is slightly young, I would say predominately 18-21. I would recommend not showing up until 12, we showed up around 11 and the club was dead. The main artist (Dillon Francis) did not even start until 3am which I found to be way too late. Overall, cool experience while visiting London but couldn’t need to return.

Lee is fab! Made me the best Lemoncillo spritzes since my holiday in Sicily! Great service and variety of cocktails. Loved it. Two for one is such great value. Good vibe and loved the school tables. All the staff were fun and welcoming. Lee I’ll be back!

Lee is the best, she prioritised our drinks and was very welcoming to us all. She genuinely tried a lot with our group and did amazing. She hosted our function room to the next level and we are all grateful to her. She s the best staff hire here and we deserve her a lot,

Lee and Skye were great servers. I was in the downstairs room for my friend’s 21st and they were so friendly and approachable. Great service all night long. Good chat.

Cheers to Skye! Best bartender ever. We organized our student society’s karaoke night here and it was a banger. At one point the karaoke stopped working and it was fixed after five minutes. Can’t rate the food cause we didn’t have any. Good drinks, even better bartender: Skye was professional, fast, funny, and most importantly patient. Only thing I’d recommend is to put more air conditioning downstairs, cause if there are more than 30 people you can’t breathe properly. Thank Simmons! And thanks Skye -the two guys who stayed until 12

Nestled in the vibrant heart of London's Shoreditch, XOYO is a bi-level nightclub renowned for its electronic music scene. The venue offers an exhilarating atmosphere where music enthusiasts can immerse themselves in a sonic adventure. With a killer sound system and weekend-long residencies by influential DJs like The Black Madonna and Four Tet, XOYO has become a go-to destination for house and techno fans.
Staff were amazing. Security were so helpful. Upon searching my bag they saw I had inhalers so they introduced me to medical officer on site and told me where security staff would be if I needed help as the club was bit Smokey. Never had any other club bother doing that before. Drinks prices were very reasonable and bar staff were very quick so was never a queue. Venue was nice and intimate.
Fiona W — Google review
Pretty run of the mill underground rave club. Red lights. Bathroom that is dark enough that you need to lift up your shades to see. Fancy neon behind the bar. Bar service was quick. Security was responsive. Floor was generally clean. It's not a big space so if you lose your friends in the crowd it won't take long to find them again, if you want to find your friends. Maybe you want to go home with a stranger and live the unexpected life. Who knows. Go have a good time and enjoy. Cloak room was £3. Had a vape machine if you are interested. Drinks were about £9 each.

Amazing security, checked every bit in my bag, but our friend group suspects that the club has a deal with a drug dealer (walking around the club, suggesting drugs to people) . Normal alcohol price (same as everywhere) 18.5 - 2 whiskey with coke 7.5 - 1 tequila shot Went here because it was the only option on Wednesday. The club is pretty small, heaven or fabric are much better alternatives. Cheap tickets

I came here in June for SXSW festival. - Thorough security/ id and bag/body check - lights are pretty bright - genderless bathrooms - Aircon pretty good - wood flooring (can rly feel the bass in your feet) - toilets have variety of mirrors - 19+ on Friday + Saturday - NO single person entry - seating on sides - got flashbanged constantly - really dark toilet cubicles
Jen — Google review
Contrary to some other reviews I found that the security was actually polite - one in particular did a very good job at making sure people were okay and ensured girls were getting home safe. I went with two of my girl friends and had a good time dancing however a lot of the guys can be weird and touchy! There are deffo better clubs out there tho.
Anna — Google review
Waited in line for 2 hours to get in and then got in but my friend was refused entry for no reason. The staff was rude. the queue at one point cut off and they didn’t let everyone behind it stay and they had to leave after that. The toilet stall wouldn’t close and the toilet was nearly broken down. Paid my entry to that club for a bad night. I would not recommend or plan to come back i would advise you not to either. The best time of our night was the queue and that had nothing to do with this club. If you’re thinking bout spending your money and going out here i wouldn’t bother might as well stay home.
Victoire L — Google review
I had high expectations for XOYO, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable, and many of the people there gave off a strange vibe, which made it hard to enjoy the night. Instead of feeling relaxed and welcome, I just felt out of place. The music itself was fine, but the overall crowd really brought down the experience. For me personally, it’s not a place I would want to visit again.
Tobi — Google review
Bouncer “Lewis”, refused to elaborate his full name, refused to show his ID/SIA licence on request (despite this being a LEGAL REQUIREMENT FOR ALL BOUNCERS) stole my driver’s license, insisted I call the police (knowing full well this was not a reasonable option), tried to snap the driving licence, failed to do so, still insisted it was fake, and insulted both myself and my brother before physically threatening both of us and coercing us into leaving the premises. Never coming again, this club operates via bullying and extralegal coercion. DO NOT COME HERE, I hope the club will take action to train their staff better than this. Being physically larger is not an excuse to intimidate customers.

Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings is a unique space that combines a bar for drinks and cocktails, an international restaurant, and a greenhouse. The building's interior features white walls adorned with plants, creating an eccentric and cozy atmosphere. The brunch menu is known for its inventive dishes and inclusive deals, offering bottomless options for drinks. Despite its black-painted exterior, the inside of the building exudes a bright and airy ambiance reminiscent of colonial-era Delhi.
We booked The Greenhouse for a birthday celebration. The venue is beautiful, love the decor and all the plants! Food was good, desserts excellent (the tiramisu is out of this world!). Staff were amazing, one of the best services we had in a long time! Will definitely be back for brunch :)
Beatrix H — Google review
The brunch here was a bit disappointing in terms of portion size and presentation. For the price and type of place we expected better. We had the English breakfast and vegetarian and all looked like canteen like presentation wise. It was good but felt very ordinary and simple vs the price. The decoration and vibes is great with a uniqueness that you can enjoy and see. It's the perfect place for brunching as the space is big and you can also have bottomless brunch. The staff was very nice. Though it is quite loud music wise
Cyrielle A — Google review
Party of three came here for a birthday brunch and we really enjoyed it! The venue is gorgeous and beautifully decorated, and it has so much natural light all the time! And even the toilet was really cool, with a bathtub instead of a traditional sink. The customer service was without doubt the highlight! The hostess was so kind, and our two waiters who were sisters were beyond attentive, helpful and lovely! The food was good but not as great as expected. The avocado toast was beyond disappointing, giving its size and presentation for a whooping £14; the burger was lovely and the highlight without doubt were the french fries; and the Veggie full english was good but the presentation wasn’t the best, especially for its price point. A lovely touch is that our lovely waiters brought a cocktail with a candle as a birthday treat.

Lovely quirky place. We had a girls brunch, took our time… cocktails were very good, food was nice and service super friendly! Recommend for a chilled quality brunch.
Gintare D — Google review
I came here for a friend’s birthday do, and we were sat in the upstairs private dining room The atmosphere here was great and perfect for a group of friends. The dining room was really bright and airy and it was nice to be sat around a big square table as a group of 12 or so, so much easier to chat to people than being placed on a big long table like most places. The food was fine. Nothing to write home about but the bottomless drinks option naturally went down exceptionally well and the drinks were really delicious. What stood out for me was the lovely person looking after our table. She was really patient with us and was quite fun: she gave us great recommendations and was super attentive, and I know how taxing it can be dealing with a large group of tipsy women on a sunny Saturday! Our drinks came out super fast and we were kept “well hydrated” so the table was really happy even if the food was only so-so. My raclette burger was a little disappointing. I was expecting something a bit more cheesy based on the description and the meat was quite dry. The salad felt like a bit of an afterthought and the fries were a bit meh. But then, maybe that’s my fault for ordering the burger from a brunch menu! There was a minimum spend on the room which I think was £700, we hadn’t quite made that by the end but a round of espresso martinis as suggested by our host went down extremely well, and we ended up at about £70 a head. I think given this was in a private dining room in a popular area and we mostly had the bottomless option, it’s not a terrible price. It was worth it for the lovely company and great service. One thing I would add is that they had a wedding booking after ours and we did have to be hurried out at the end. Would have been nice to sit and have more drinks or dessert so I wonder if it was the best decision to book in a big party the same day of hosting a wedding? I know they have to make their overheads but it’s never nice to have to skedaddle at the end of a meal. If I lived in London I would consider booking the private dining room for another get together. But probably wouldn’t have the burger!

The atmosphere and decor here is great. I've been here for an evening party and a brunch - I had a good experience both times and found the staff really attentive and accommodating.
Tahreen D — Google review
Gorgeous interior, however I found the food average. The crab roll was nothing special, and the pancakes were nice, however a little dry. I had the caramel pancakes, and although I expected them to be sweet, I believe they would have benefitted from something such as cream to cut the sweetness a little. The service was good, the waiters/waitress had a very kind demeanour.
Devon A — Google review
Such a cute and cozy place. I didn't enjoy my choice as poached eggs were overcooked, bread wasn't fresh (it tasted like it was yesterday's or smth) and the mushroom was half, not even a whole one. However, my parter's was tasted really nice and his poached eggs were well cooked.

We found this bar just by googling bars on the area while walking around in London. We were pleasantly surprised by the vibe in there and the staff were both welcoming and very funny. The bartender was singing every song. And they only played music that I like. The happy hour prices were really good and the cocktails were also very satisfying.

Music venue and club that's a stones throw away from Elephant and Castle station. Not huge but well laid out with pleasant door staff and a fast and efficient bar, beer came in cans. Everyone told me the sounds good and it was and the lighting is much better than many other places. Would have given five stars but although the loos were clean broken toilet seats abounded though there was soap and toilet paper which many other venues struggle with
Robert P — Google review
A very small venue. I don't believe the claimed capacity of 500. I'm sure this is smaller than The Social, which claims 250. It's basically two railway arches. There is a small bar (£7 a pint/can) and one larger space, which does have a couple of big fans blowing fresh air into the space.
David F — Google review
Visited this venue in the summer. Doors were meant to open at 7pm and 15 minutes later the door women were still having their chat and a cigarette. Eventually got let inside and it was so smoky you couldn’t see a thing. There was no air con in the venue whatsoever. I’m surprised no one passed out. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.

Corsica the legacy. The soon to be legend as we know it. Ive heard it will still be a nightclub but is having some sort of rebrand/refit. The place has been amazing on the decent London club radar for 2+ decades. Especially the most recent update with sound system and even sounder staffing... it will be missed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
SB P — Google review
Corsica Studios is usually a great night out with an amazing sound system. But tonight as our last night in this building they took the absolute mick. We brought tickets for before 12 for there at around half 11, had to wait for an hour and a half and had to pay a late fee as well as everyone as they delayed entry. They oversold sold the event and then charged us extra for just living. We were packed sardines & couldn’t really move. What a sour ending to a great place :(
Rheanna S — Google review
My friend got her e-liquid confiscated because it was DIY and "unlabeled". Security refused to give it back to her on our way out. That is pure and simple theft of personal property, unacceptable. We should have called the police for that, but honestly it's not worth that much trouble. By the way, we didn't have any issue passing border security/customs (train) with these 50ml bottles of e-liquid. That says a lot about the nonsense of this situation. I contacted the lost and found email but never got a reply back. Seems like they just don't care. Otherwise the club is intimate and quite nice with two rooms and friendly people overall. Soundsystem and artists/music are good. Only the hostile and thug-acting security tarnished the picture.

Lovely cocktail bar with a fab atmosphere in a really cool spot underground and just outside London Bridge station. I'm not a big drinker but I had heard about the food so that's primarily what we went for but I did also try the 'Mello' cocktail and it was really good, surprised by how well the cucumber flavour came through! The mango ceviche was incredible, as was the pork, no-fish baja tacos, and beef tacos - I would 100% go back for the food alone! The service was really good, the only negative was we were slightly rushed at the end of the meal because we were close to our 2 hour allocation, and they were super busy - but that bodes well for them if they're in constant demand so I can't really complain!

Best Baja fish tacos I’ve had in London. The Paloma sea bream ceviche was also delicious. Beef barbacoa was also super tasty. We started with a cocktail outside, then moved inside - 2 completely different atmospheres which was nice! Inside you step into a dim light more DJ vibe space. The pina colada was very good, and it is a classic of this bar. The sofas in the store are very comfortable, suitable for gathering with friends. However, the bartender service at the bar needs to be improved. The two bartenders kept talking to a customer and ignored my requests many times. I waited for a long time and wanted to order a second drink but there was no chance. So I only had one drink and left.

We were there on a Thursday night for drinks and dinner. Honestly, the cocktails were unique and oh so tasty! I asked the waiting staff, I believe his name was Joao to decide my drink & explained my preferences. I loved what I got. My husband asked to explain some of the cocktails, and Joao explained the different ones in so much detail. For dinner, we had truffle fries that I recommend, so generous with the truffle sauce! And we had a burger and a croque Monsieur, both of which were high quality and delicious. All in all a wonderful experience, and we will be back!

Little Bat is a trendy bar located in an off-Upper Street address, offering a mix of classic British pub vibes and modern hipness. It started as a pop-up last winter but has now found its permanent spot. The bar has a Wonderland theme, inspired by Lewis Carroll's works, with a more restrained vibe compared to its sibling establishment. The cocktail menu features both classic and forgotten favorites, making it an ideal spot for cocktail enthusiasts.
The food and cocktails were really good. I ordered the rosemary fries twice because they were perfect. I can see why others have commented on the cocktails not being that boozy, since I ordered two signature (i.e. not the low ABV ones) cocktails in an hour and didn’t feel like I drank alcohol a few hours later. I personally prefer that these days. Atmosphere on a Thursday night seemed mainly good for dates or low key hangouts. The service is also low key. No one asked how the drinks or food were until I was already paying, and there wasn’t any basic conversation at the bar. It seemed to be their general approach that day. I would’ve ordered more if it were more interesting/engaging to be there. All that being said, I probably would still go back to try more of the menu and set my expectations that there won’t be much service.

The coolest little spot with amazing service! I had my wedding reception here in April 2025 and I can't recommend it enough. The food was delicious, the drinks were a big hit (especially the spicy tequila cocktail) and everyone kept saying how great the vibes were. We didn't need any decorations because the venue itself looks great on its own! The staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we could ask for and were very responsive. They even helped us find a very last minute DJ who really pulled the whole night together. Everyone who attended told us that it was the best fun they'd had on a night out in years. If anyone's looking for a fun, easy-going wedding reception venue with exceptional service and delicious food, I highly recommend them!

I found a real gem in Islington. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcome, something rare in London these days. The cocktails are excellent, especially the Paloma and Flutter By. The food is both affordable and delicious: we had padrón peppers, calamari, and even the bread and butter were spot on. They also do £1 oysters from 5–8 pm, which is a great deal. Definitely worth a visit.

We had such a fantastic experience at Little Bat, and a huge part of that was thanks to Sasha! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome. His kindness, warmth, and genuine passion for what he does really stood out and made the evening memorable. Sasha took the time to talk us through the cocktails, offering great recommendations and sharing his enthusiasm for the craft. It’s clear he loves what he does, and it made our visit all the more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back to see Sasha again and to try even more of the amazing cocktails on offer. Highly recommend paying a visit — and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Sasha, you’re in for a treat!

We had a lovely evening here last night. The bar has a great atmosphere. We were served by Sasha who was so attentive and helpful. He gave us recommendations on the food and cocktails. The cocktails were delicious and the £1 oyster was a treat! We tried most of the food on the menu - all delicious but especially the cauliflower and the fried chicken. I'd definitely recommend this bar and will be back.

What a great place! We've lived in the area for nearly 20 years and regret that we only visited for the first time tonight. It's a very cool place, but it's also very welcoming - reminded me of beloved now closed Zilouf's. Thank you to Sasha and the other staff for the warm welcome and excellent service. And of course the cocktails were great too.

Thank you Little Bat Bar for hosting us last night - perfect way to end the evening. Staff super helpful in accommodating a large group, really responsive in organising and really friendly staff on the evening itself! Really cool space & great atmosphere - can't wait to come back!

We went there Friday night for drinks and Saturday noon for brunch. This place is absolutely amazing, day and night. Brunch is exceptional. We had the chickpea and potato dish, the avocado sourdough and the brioche with butterscotch banana and mascarpone. Everything was delicious and the eggs poached in a perfect way. To top all that the DIY bloody Mary offer is genius. We had a great time and definitely going back for more. Easily one of the best places in London at the moment.

Cocktail bar
Seed Library, located beneath the One Hundred Shoreditch hotel in East London, is a trendy cocktail bar with a laid-back vibe. Created by renowned bartender Mr Lyan, it offers an analog and low-fi approach to drinks and ambiance. The bar's atmosphere exudes 1970s chic with vinyl playlists and retro decor. The menu features accessible flavors and easy-to-understand options, including a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails.
Amazing atmosphere, I had a feeling like I am back in the 80’s but with a modern taste. Cocktails are made really professionally and staff is super nice. There is no way you can finish a glass of water without being refilled by one of the waiters. :D Would 100% recommend it.

Vibey cocktail bar in the basement that we found with great (but slow - though not an issue) service and comfy chairs. This is a pretty spacious venue so it can accommodate larger groups than just a couple. I loved the cocktails we had here!

The drinks were incredible - loved the beeswax old fashioned. The staff were attentive, friendly and just so welcoming. Also just a beautiful spot to enjoy some drinks in a very relaxed, chilled vibe.

Booked a few bars for my birthday in 2024. The whole aesthetic of the bar was very cool, the cocktails were pretty expensive so we only ended up having one each before going somewhere else. (£15+ for a standard cocktail) so a little more than expecting but was still a nice bar
Alicia — Google review
Beautiful bar with fantastic staff and even better drinks. Celebrated my birthday here with a large group. They were kind enough to give us a large space with 2-3 tables in the corner of the room (with advance booking), and this made it better for us to socialize and move without disturbing other patrons. Music selection was great! Drinks are innovative and totally unique, with unexpected ingredients and flavours. A brilliant location to come to for a special occasion, or simply to sample the drinks!
Rohan P — Google review
Seed Library is an absolute gem, relaxed, effortlessly cool, dripping in 1960s charm. The vibe is laid-back, but intentional, and the cocktail menu is unique and inventive. One cocktail even included pancreatic enzymes from sheep! As a pregnant woman, I was thrilled to find several nonalcoholic options both on and off menu. Our server Zach was phenomenal, he obviously knew the menu very thoroughly and helped us in selecting drinks that matched our taste and preferences. The bartenders crafted a bespoke mocktail just for me using non-alcoholic aged spirits from Sylva Labs, a new brand experimenting with wood-aged zero proof spirits. It was honestly the most “cocktail-like” mocktail I’ve had. Not only did Zach provide the recipe and tell me about the Sylva brand, but he also gave me a bottle of Sylva Hazel to take home since it’s not yet available in the states. My friends and I were floored by that thoughtful and generous gesture. If you’re in London and appreciate creativity, flavor and exceptional hospitality this is a must-visit. I’ll be recommending Seed Library to all my friends visiting London.

This cocktail bar sits firmly on the pricey side, but the drinks themselves are undeniably good. The entrance is a fun surprise, tucked through an industrial-style building before you head downstairs into a sleek, softly lit space. The design has some lovely touches, especially the vinyl wall and the striking bar, though overall it does feel a bit too polished and corporate. The host, however, is a real standout, one of the most genuine and professional people I’ve met in hospitality for a long time. I had a Beeswax Old Fashioned for £17, which felt like a stretch, especially served minimalist-style with no ice or garnish. Beautifully made, yes, but for that price I’d like at least a little theatre with my whisky.

Loved the vibe and the interior. My mocktail was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life. Music way too loud though- almost impossible to have a conversation.

The bar offers exceptional service and a menu with a fusion of Latin American and Asian flavors. The vibrant bartenders are known for making excellent cocktails, such as the agave-free margarita, and the team is dedicated to ensuring a great experience for visitors.
It’s a great vibe Beatrice really looked after us. The drinks are strong. Not sure about the mushroom one though but they treated us really well. Lots of variety on the menu too. I’m writing this drunk.🥴

Friendly and knowledgeable staff told us about the history of the place with its Latin American roots and accompanied us in our choice of cocktails by suggesting products totally in line with our tastes. The food is also quality, we ordered a very good guacamole. Definitely recommended. P.s. A special thanks to Danilo, love from Italy <3

Had an amazing evening at Viajante87! 🍸 The cocktails were absolutely top notch beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. Huge shoutout to Alex and Beatrice behind the bar for their incredible skill and friendly energy , they really made the experience special. Also, George, the host, was so welcoming and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Exceptional service all around , can’t wait to come back!

What a discovery! I don't usually come West as I live in East London, but this is a gem! The entrance is gorgeous and setting the scene for this cocktail bar. Everybody is so welcoming since you set foot through the door. Service is really great! Everybody in the team is kind and attentive! Davide and Danilo took the time to answer all our questions. Great bartenders and friendly! Danilo was such a great host for the night and all the cocktails were delicious. I couldn't fault any of them. For those who love sour and bitter like me, I recommend the "Pechuga" and "Bitter Giuseppe". They also have a great selection of Agave spirits. I recommend the Mezcal "Lost explorer". The music is fun and uplifting and there is such a great vibe in the air! I'll definitely come back!

A perfect evening from start to finish. The drinks vary from super approachable (and delicious… tried some of those) to interesting and untrodden (tried some of those too, god damn 🔥). Beatrice looked after us behind the bar and was so wonderful. I never knew what I wanted, so always went for chefs choice, and wasn’t once disappointed. What an absolute gem. DUKES Bar, located in St James, is celebrated for its exceptional martinis, often considered the best in the world. Managed by Alessandro Palazzi, the bar imports top-quality ingredients from around the globe to craft exquisite cocktails. The renowned Vesper Martini features imported Amalfi lemons for a delightful touch of bitterness.
This place is legendary. Rightly so! This was my first time, even though I am an adopted Londoner since 1992, I never managed to come before yesterday evening. It is busy, always busy, and the masterful host supervising everything, together with the incredible team that he directs smoothly and efficiently, still manage to make everyone feel good. It is a special occasion just the fact you are there, and waiting to go in that bar is a privilege. We were swiftly seated in what is a “plan B” area, where the drinks are the same, but without the preparation in front of you. We had the classic dry martini, arguably the best in London, possibly in the world. After that, they found space in the other room, That Room, and we ordered another perfect martini, this time the Martinez for my friend and the Tokyo for myself . All spectacular ! It is a must if you fancy perfect, faultless cocktails ! The service is spectacular, incredible, the best I can think of. A must !
Sergio V — Google review
Very cool experience for a drink. The martinis are made in front of you by the bartender with a trolley. The drinks are great. The martinis are quite strong. Nice bar to take to treat someone
Garth S — Google review
There are definitely better places for a martini in London. I went mostly for the nostalgia of the place. Waited about 20 minutes — the host was very cordial and the service itself was fine. The atmosphere is pleasant but nothing special, more of a tourist bar vibe. Not sure what I was expecting, but $85.32 for two martinis is pretty steep. The drinks were fine, but overall it felt overrated — more of a tourist trap than a must-visit spot. I’m glad I went once for the experience, but I don’t see a reason to return.
Tony L — Google review
Special place. We showed up about 2:50pm on a Friday, 10 minutes before they opened and had about 15 people ahead of us in the lobby and took our names .The cart service was really cool. They weren’t shy to call out rude people, loved that. Would go again and will think of it for a long time.
Daniel J — Google review
Great atmosphere with proper Mayfair types drinking in the lounge bar. The service was great, the Vesper martini rocks you to the boots with every sip. A second dose would have left me in a state. The guy who made them with his trolley service was class. Loved this madcap, suave place.
Leaburn — Google review
I went because I love a perfect martini and guess what, it was a perfect martini I had a dry gin and my wife had the Vesper martini, both were flawless and I wish I could go here every day.
Derek A — Google review
Great drinks and nice bar. I have been twice and the first time was a good experience. The second time had a host at the door that was very rude. I wanted up to ask if there was room for two. He replied very brashly, “No, the bar is full. Everyone you see here is waiting to get in.” He was very cold and did not offer to take down a name or anything. This was a completely different experience from the previous time and I am not sure that I’ll return given this host’s very poor, haughty approach. I get that places can get full and there are waiting lists, but there is a way to say it with a friendly, more helpful tone. Visiting the bar is not a privilege and he did not need to act condescending.
J R — Google review
We went it to try the Vesper that we were told was invented at Dukes. Had to try it. It was a very fun experience the actual drink was a bit strong for us but we really enjoyed the experience of table side dink mixing and explaining it along the way

The lastminute.com London Eye is a must-visit attraction in London, offering an exhilarating experience with its 32 capsules representing the city's boroughs. As Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, it provides a stunning 360-degree view of the city and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the UK. Situated along the River Thames, it has become an iconic part of the London skyline and offers a thrilling way to take in breathtaking views, especially during sunset.
If you're in London and looking for a fun, iconic experience, the London Eye is totally worth checking out. It’s one of those things that might seem super touristy, but once you're up there, the views are absolutely stunning. You get a full 360° look at the city — Big Ben, the Thames, Tower Bridge, and even way out to the Shard. On a clear day, it’s unreal. The ride itself is smooth and surprisingly relaxing. Each pod is spacious and air-conditioned, so even if it’s crowded, it doesn’t feel cramped. It takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around, which gives you plenty of time to soak it all in and snap a bunch of photos. Booking online ahead of time is a good idea — saves you from standing in long lines. And if you’re feeling fancy, the fast-track tickets are a nice upgrade. There’s also a cool 4D experience included with some tickets that’s fun, especially for kids. Overall, it’s a great way to kick off your London trip or wrap it up with a bang. Whether you’re solo, with friends, or family, the London Eye is a must-do. Just bring your camera and maybe a snack for the wait
Gautham V — Google review
The London Eye is one of those iconic experiences that truly lives up to its reputation. From the moment you step into the capsule, you can feel the excitement building — and as it slowly rises above the Thames, the city unfolds beneath you in a breathtaking panorama. The views are spectacular, especially on a clear day. You can see all of London’s major landmarks — Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and even as far as The Shard and Tower Bridge. Watching the city from above gives you a whole new appreciation for its beauty and scale. The ride itself is smooth and quiet, taking about 30 minutes, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photos. The capsules are clean, comfortable, and spacious, with just the right number of people inside to move around freely. The staff are friendly and organized, keeping everything running efficiently even when it’s busy. Tickets are easy to book online, and the whole experience feels well-managed from start to finish. Whether it’s your first time in London or your tenth, the London Eye is something you should do at least once — a stunning and memorable way to see the city from a new perspective.

Me and my wife visited London, UK and decided to experience the London Eye, even though ticket price is high, we thought to book it and try it. Really believe me that was great, views are stunning and fantastic.. we both really enjoyed, you can see entire London 360 view with all the landmarks like, BIG BEN, Aerial view THAMES RIVER, BRIDGES AND CRUISES, SHAD TOWER, TOWER BRIDGE and many more.. Views are worth than ticket price for a lifetime for a one time; if possible reducing ticket rate is great for travelers but it has great demand and long que always. Managing staff and sequrity are very good. In overall great experience you must try if you come to London, UK❤️❤️
Chathura J — Google review
The London Eye offers stunning panoramic views of the city’s iconic landmarks, making it a must-visit attraction. The ride is smooth and relaxing, perfect for taking photos and enjoying London from above. It can get busy, so booking tickets in advance is recommended. A great experience for tourists and locals alike!
Michael N — Google review
The London Eye is one of those attractions that truly lives up to its reputation and is a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. The moment you step onto the giant wheel, you’re treated to spectacular panoramic views of London, stretching out as far as the eye can see. From the top, the historic landmarks like the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and even Windsor Castle on a clear day come into perfect view. Watching the River Thames wind its way through the heart of London adds even more magic to the experience. One thing families and visitors should prepare for, however, are the long lines. The London Eye is extremely popular, and during weekends or holidays, the wait can feel quite lengthy. For those short on time or traveling with children, the Express Entry tickets are definitely worth considering. They cost a bit more but save you from the longer queues, letting you enjoy the ride without the wait. The capsule itself is spacious and moves slowly, making it comfortable for families, children, and even those slightly nervous about heights. The pace allows you to really take in the scenic 360° views and capture plenty of photos without feeling rushed. Overall, the London Eye is an experience that beautifully combines fun, relaxation, and sightseeing. Despite the queues, it’s absolutely worth the visit for the incredible views of London’s skyline and its historic buildings. It’s one of those attractions that reminds you why London is such a timeless city.
Zeeshan Q — Google review
The London Eye is an interesting experience that I was glad that I went on, but I am not sure if I would recommend. It offers great views of the city but I understand that The Shard and Sky Garden also can do this. Heck, the coffee shop at Tate Modern also has great views and it is free to go up. We had booked a time and were waiting for our slot, when we arrived 15 minutes early to join an extremely long queue. I was very surprised how quickly the line went and we actually boarded the ride at our allocated time. I suspect if we arrived early (within reason), we could have got on sooner rather than waiting around. Getting on and off was easy, even though the ride didn't stop. The entire trip lasted about 30 minutes and was very relaxing. Obviously the views were great, but I `think that I would have spent less time if I had gone up the Shard or Sky Garden, as the ride seemed to trudge along. The are definitely opportunities to get discounted tickets: book online or in the visitor centre or with the London Pass. Since the line went quick, I wouldn't pay extra for a fast path.

The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel located near the iconic Big Ben. Each capsule can hold over ten people and is fully enclosed in glass, providing panoramic views of the surroundings. The overall experience feels quite similar to the one in Singapore. The ride lasts about 30 minutes and is incredibly smooth and steady—there’s no shaking or strange noises at all. As the capsule gradually rises, the entire city of London unfolds before your eyes, offering breathtaking views. How can anyone visit London without experiencing this attraction?

An unforgettable view of London! The London Eye is a must-do experience — smooth, well-organized, and absolutely breathtaking. From the top, you get panoramic views of the Thames, Big Ben, and the city skyline that are simply stunning, especially at sunset. Sky Garden, also known as the Walkie Talkie due to its distinctive shape, is a must-visit destination in London. Located 43 floors above the city, this lush green space offers breathtaking 360-degree views through floor-to-ceiling windows. The garden is filled with Mediterranean and South African plants, creating a unique botanical experience high above the bustling streets. Entry is free but requires advance booking due to limited spaces.
This was a wonderful experience. Well organised. The staff are nice but direct. The line was long but went down quickly. Make sure you get a ticket beforehand (its free) and get there early within your time slot. There is a process to getting inside but it goes by quickly. You go through a metal detector for security before you go up the lift. There are bars and a restaurant when you get up there. I don't know what the price range is, as I didn't eat or drink. The views are great and you can stay up there as long as you want, from what I saw.

Great view. Honestly have never been to a place like this before and stumbled upon it trying to find a breakfast spot that’s open early. Honestly very impressive views (I spent way more time than I’d like to admit taking photos), both inside and outside the building, and delicious Eggs Benedict. Great place to walk around afterwards, and definitely a must for tourists. Make sure to reserve in advance.
Fameldin — Google review
I visited Sky Garden in London recently and thought it was a cool spot, especially if you're into city views. The place sits right on top of the “Walkie-Talkie” building and gives you some amazing views of London, you can see the Thames, The Shard, Tower Bridge… all of it. Entry is totally free, but you do need to book a ticket in advance. They release tickets every Monday at 10am, and they get snapped up pretty fast especially for weekends. Weekdays are a lot easier to book and way less crowded. If you go midweek, you’ll probably have a smooth, chill experience. Weekends? Totally different story. Even with a ticket, the queues can be long. And if you don’t have a ticket, be ready to wait even longer just to try your luck on walk-in entry. So yeah, weekends = chaos. The garden itself is nice, though it’s more of a well-designed indoor space with plants than an actual “garden.” Still, the views make it worth it. There’s also a bar and a couple of restaurants if you want to grab a drink or food, but it’s a bit pricey. Pro tip: Go on a weekday if you can. Book early (set a reminder for Monday 10am), and get there a little before your time slot because there’s security and sometimes a short wait for the lift.

The Sky Garden in London is one of the city’s most beautiful and relaxing attractions, offering breathtaking panoramic views from high above the bustling streets. Located atop the Walkie Talkie building, it provides an incredible vantage point where you can see landmarks like the Shard, Tower Bridge, and the Thames all at once. The space itself feels open and airy, filled with lush greenery and soft natural light that creates a calm, comfortable atmosphere—almost like a tropical escape in the sky. What makes the Sky Garden especially appealing is how effortlessly it blends nature with modern design. The plants, pathways, and seating areas invite you to linger, enjoy a drink, or simply take in the scenery. It’s free to visit with a reservation, and even during busy times, the space feels well managed and never too crowded. The café and bars offer a nice selection of snacks and cocktails, perfect for watching the sunset over London. Whether you’re a visitor exploring the city or a local looking for a peaceful retreat, the Sky Garden is a must-see destination. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and gives you one of the best—and most memorable—views in all of London.

Beautiful place and amazing weather. Nice amities, you can get some drinks whilst enjoying the view, however there are some considerations for the balcony(no selfy sticks, no food& drink, ,no climbing on the rails). For the restaurant you need to book. Waiting timesay vary depending on how big the que is. Also, very clean retrooms.

First and foremost know that you need to reserve an entry ticket three weeks in advance. I didn't know this but a very kind employee (who I will not call out), let me proceed. I appreciate their kindness because as a travel writer, I wanted to see what all the hype was about. It was impressive. The view of the Thames River was wonderful. I liked that there were different levels and the gardens on either side were pretty. If you get tickets go but if you don't walk 4 minutes to the Garden at 120. There was no line and I liked the view better.

This is a great place to get an amazing view of London. Highly recommended. Make sure you book. There is a bar and restaurant at the top and lots of plants! It has a lovely atmosphere and you can spend as long as you like up there.

Trafalgar Square, an iconic landmark in London, is home to Nelson's Column, surrounded by LED-lit fountains, lion statues, and various artworks. This historic square has been a significant part of London for centuries and continues to hold a special place in the hearts of its residents. It pays tribute to the city's rich history with monuments dedicated to courageous figures like Admiral Lord Nelson.
Trafalgar Square Review Trafalgar Square is one of London’s most iconic landmarks, always buzzing with visitors from around the world. It’s surrounded by some fantastic attractions, including the National Gallery, Nelson’s Column, and lively street performances that bring the square to life. The area appeals to all ages — children love the fountains and wide open space, while adults can enjoy the architecture, history, and nearby museums. It’s also a great meeting spot, thanks to its central location and easy transport links. Many people grab a seat on the steps or by the fountains, making it a lovely place to sit, relax, and even enjoy lunch outdoors while soaking in the atmosphere. Must visit destination

🏛️ My Visit to Trafalgar Square, London My visit to Trafalgar Square was an unforgettable experience at one of London’s most iconic public spaces. Built in the 1840s, the square commemorates Admiral Lord Nelson’s victory at the Battle of Trafalgar (1805). At its center stands the towering Nelson’s Column, surrounded by magnificent lion statues and beautiful fountains. The square is always lively, filled with street performers, tourists, and locals. It’s also home to the National Gallery, historic statues, and hosts major events and celebrations throughout the year. The atmosphere perfectly captures the spirit of London — vibrant, cultural, and full of history. Visitor Tips: Visit in the evening to see the fountains illuminated. Entry is free, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Don’t miss the short walk to Admiralty Arch and The Mall leading to Buckingham Palace. How to Reach: Located in central London, Trafalgar Square is easily accessible via Charing Cross Station or a short walk from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus Underground stations. Overall, Trafalgar Square is a must-visit — a beautiful blend of art, history, and city life right in the heart of London.

Trafalgar Square is a lively and iconic landmark in the heart of London, known for its impressive architecture, historic monuments, and vibrant atmosphere. With the majestic Nelson’s Column, beautiful fountains, and the National Gallery overlooking the square, it’s a perfect spot for sightseeing and people watching. The area is always buzzing with energy, cultural events, and street performers, making it a must-visit destination that truly reflects the spirit of London.

Iconic place in the center of London. Meet Lord Nelson and the 4 lions and find out why there are only 3 statues and not four on each column in each corner.
Stevo T — Google review
One of my favorite spots in London - it’s a fun spot for great sight seeing. If you love art, you absolutely must visit the National Gallery here (and it’s free!). You’ll get a great view of Big Ben down White Hall and capture pictures with the Lion statues. It’s a must visit in London!

Iconic square with nice bars and restaurants around and national gallery. As a curiosity, square is free of pigeons 😀...because they scare them every day to avoid ruining all the monuments

After playing monopoly so much and seeing the name Trafalgar Sq, it is nice to finally be stepping in this place. Unfortunately, it is also a place for demonstrations, protests etc... was caught in a midst of Free P-tine Movement... DID NOT like the aggresive atmosphere.

The Shard is an 87-floor glass skyscraper with a distinctive jagged peak, standing at 306 meters tall, making it the tallest building in the European Union. Located in London Bridge Quarter Development, it houses offices, restaurants, a hotel and an indoor/outdoor observation deck on the 72nd floor offering breathtaking panoramic views of London.
I was incredibly fortunate to be in London in 2012 when The Shard was inaugurated, and my first visit left a lasting impression. It’s not just a skyscraper; it’s a new symbol of London, a towering triumph of modern architecture that offers a breathtaking perspective on the city. The view from the top is, without a doubt, the main event. Stepping out onto the viewing platforms, you're immediately struck by the sheer scale of the city laid out before you. The intricate tapestry of London's streets, the historic winding of the River Thames, and the iconic landmarks like the Tower of London and St. Paul's Cathedral all appear in a new light. It's a view that is both expansive and intimate, allowing you to appreciate the city's rich history and its bustling modern life simultaneously. The design of The Shard itself is a piece of art. Its glass-clad spire seems to merge with the sky, an elegant and sharp form that stands out without feeling out of place. Inside, the experience is seamless, from the swift, silent elevator ride to the thoughtfully designed viewing decks. Since my first visit, I've been back a few times with friends and family, and the magic has never faded. Whether it's a clear sunny day or a misty evening with the city lights twinkling below, the experience is always magnificent. The Shard has truly become a must-do for anyone visiting London and is a landmark that has firmly cemented its place in the city's skyline. A truly unforgettable experience.

An unforgettable afternoon in the sky! We booked our tickets in advance for the afternoon slot and upgraded to the champagne option on arrival. From the photo booth to the high-speed lift, everything was smooth and quick. The staff were fantastic, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the experience at our own pace. It wasn’t too crowded, so we could take some incredible photos and soak in the breathtaking view of London from 246 meters above the city. We even ordered a second drink, thanks to the super-friendly bartender – a perfect touch to end the visit. A brilliant bar, stunning views, and an experience truly worth your time and money. This is a London must-do!

The Shard’s viewpoint offered one of the most unforgettable experiences of my London trip. Rising high above the city, the panoramic views from the top were absolutely breathtaking, with landmarks like Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the London Eye all laid out below me. It felt incredible to see the city from such a unique and awe-inspiring perspective. What made it even more special was the calm yet thrilling atmosphere at the top. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows provided perfect views in every direction, and the entire visit was smooth, comfortable, and well-organized. The Shard’s viewpoint gave me a magical new way to appreciate London, and it’s truly a must-see.

My Visit to The Shard, London My visit to The Shard was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my trip to London. Standing at 310 meters, it’s the tallest building in the UK, offering breathtaking 360° views of the city from its viewing decks on the 69th and 72nd floors. The modern glass design by architect Renzo Piano is a true masterpiece that perfectly captures London’s blend of history and innovation. The high-speed lift ride to the top was smooth and exciting, and once there, the panoramic views were incredible — I could see landmarks like Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye, and the River Thames stretching for miles. Visitor Tips: It’s best to book tickets online in advance, especially for sunset visits. Try to go on a clear day for the best visibility, and don’t forget your camera. There are also fine dining options and a cocktail bar if you’d like to enjoy the skyline longer. How to Reach: The Shard is located at 32 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9SG, right next to London Bridge Station (Northern and Jubilee lines) and easily accessible by train or bus. Overall, The Shard offers an amazing way to see London from above — a must-visit attraction that combines spectacular views, modern design, and a touch of luxury.

Was gifted entry to the Shard. Staff were attentive from the moment of arrival as you queued. Security process of checking bags was courteous and swift. We were then guided to the lift which took us up to 38th floor then another to floor 68. Smooth but fast - ears popped a little. Views from the Shard as you would expect are breathtaking. Whilst therei had a scone with jam and clotted cream which was delicious as was the complimentary glass of presecco. Chris provided Great knowledge about the history of the area, the building and the eyewatering cost to buy an apartment there. Highly recommended - will visit again.
Donna — Google review
Virgin Experience. Arrived just before our time slot but straight in and up to the 68 floor with great views of London (luckily it was a very clear day!) Drinks are a bit over priced £14 for a large Rose ans £7 for a bottle of Peroni. Was there for probably less than an hour.
Alan J — Google review
I visited The Shard recently, and it truly is a new symbol of modern London! From the 72nd floor, the views were absolutely breathtaking — you can see the whole city stretched out. The design of the building itself is absolutely stunning. A must-visit for anyone coming to London!
Sam M — Google review
FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! My husband and I had a "View from the Shard" experience as a wedding present. It was absolutely brilliant. The views were excellent and we could see for miles in every direction. Champagne and cocktails were delicious, yes expensive but it's an unforgettable irregular experience so treat yourself! We stayed for a talk by Chris about the history of the Shard too - Chris was very entertaining, amusing and insightful. Apparently the toilets are the most photographed toilets in the world on Instagram - "a view from the loo" - so definitely check those out. The two lifts we took travel at 6 metres a second, so expect your ears to pop. We had a blast of a time and highly recommend the experience.

30 St Mary Axe, also known as The Gherkin, is a distinctive bullet-shaped office tower in London. Designed by Norman Foster, it stands at 180m and features swirling light and dark glass. Initially mocked, the building quickly became an iconic part of the city's skyline. The site has historical significance, being named after a vanished church and having archaeological finds during its construction.
Absolutely incredible building, a sight to behold. We wanted to visit the restaurant at the top which sadly was closed to a private event that day. But taking a stroll through the financial district, this building really stands out as a true masterpiece amongst great building.

I’ve been to this amazing, stunning building multiple times over the years for various functions, and it never fails to impress. The architecture, breathtaking views, top-tier amenities, and well-equipped meeting rooms make it a standout venue and definitely a go-to spot for events or professional gatherings. Unfortunately, what consistently falls short is the front-of-house experience. On both recent and past visits, the welcome has been cold, and the customer service from the FOH teams has been noticeably poor. It’s disappointing that despite the prestige of the space, the attitude and hospitality haven’t improved over time. A bit more warmth and attentiveness from the staff would truly elevate the overall experience to match the quality of the surroundings.
Anastasiya G — Google review
It is a stunning building with a restaurant on top as the effective means for getting in. It does not have a public deck (free or paid) in the truest sense. You can walk around the entire building and it feels very externally accessible and grounded in the areas. 5 stars for architecture and the feeling, 4 stars for overall experience.

Great beautiful area. Haven't got a chance to go in to the building. But it's nice to walk around this area. Very windy so recommend having layers if you travel in the winter ❄️ or in spring.

I visited The Gherkin on a Saturday in March and, to my delight, there was absolutely no queue — such a treat in central London. Even just admiring it from the outside felt rather magical. The structure itself is a true icon — sleek, sculptural, and effortlessly stylish, rising gracefully above the City’s historic rooftops. It’s the sort of place that quietly demands attention without shouting for it — très architectural, très London. Although I didn’t go inside, the atmosphere around 30 St Mary Axe is lovely for a little wander. The juxtaposition between old-world charm and ultra-modern design is so striking. I took my time walking around, soaking up the calm buzz of a Saturday in the financial district — beautifully serene compared to weekdays. Afterwards, I popped by Kahaila Aldgate — a charming little café with wholesome vibes and really lovely flat whites (and yes, their pastries are divine). For something a touch more polished, Haz on Mincing Lane does wonderful Mediterranean brunches with just the right level of flair. Or if you’re feeling fancy, Duck & Waffle is just a short walk away and absolutely worth it for the views alone. Honestly, The Gherkin is more than just a building — it’s a statement piece in London’s skyline. Whether you’re an architecture lover or simply strolling through the city, it’s one of those places that quietly stays with you. Absolutely worth seeing — no reservations needed.
Danielle R — Google review
We prebooked a table and arrived about 17:30. Getting into the building is secure! It's almost like security at an airport. Going up in the lift is fun and you feel your ears pop. The view from the bar is stunning and the staff were really friendly. We had a couple of cocktails, took a bunch of photos and went right up to the very top of the dome for more. Great views but once you've had the experience, I'm not sure you're likely to need to do it again. Great one off experience.

Great view from the restaurants across the top floors providing beautiful 360 degree panoramic views. Highly recommended going for afternoon tea.

Amazing evening at Searcy's on the 38th floor for our annual dinner. Private dining room was great and the views awesome. Food was excellent and the staff were great - professional and polite.
