Strandbad Wannsee, located on the larger of the Wannsees lakes in Berlin, is a popular seasonal lakeside lido offering a range of activities. The beach features white sand imported from the Baltic coast and offers ample space for approximately 30,000 bathers. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as volleyball courts, dining options, boat rentals, and a high-octane playground with a water slide.
The sandy beach is well-maintained and spacious, providing plenty of room for sunbathing and picnicking. The water is clean, perfect for swimming and splashing around. Facilities include clean restrooms, changing rooms, and food kiosks offering snacks and drinks. There's also a playground for kids and options for beach volleyball, ensuring fun for the whole family. The surrounding area is picturesque, with beautiful views of the lake and plenty of shaded areas under the trees. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for a sunny day in Berlin!
Mitra B — Google review
It would seem positive reviews are based on days of reasonable solitude being part of the offer at Strandbad Wannsee… in the second / third week of July - rest assured as soon as you “come over the hill” on the inside patio of the strandbad - you will be facing literally thousands of other swimmers in waiting… you would be happy to find a private square meter or two.. The water itself is muddy at best. At one point this might have been fine sand from the Baltic Sea - today clay would be a more accurate description - filled with small stones that will have you anxiously waiting for when “disaster strikes” in the mind of a young swimmer. The line to the refreshments and snacks would easily top 150 people - unknown to me what would be the time required to pass through til the service window. Upon our arrival having waited in line somewhat shorter than we feared - the guard tells us that dogs are not allowed (in spite of online info informing that there are several dog friendly seditions ) and she is forced to stay outside in spite of having completed ticket payments just moments ago. No refunds offered in spite of no entry. All info online as well as IRL seemingly only available in German - which seems less smart in consideration of the fact that locals would presumably be smart enough to stay away this I would suspect overwhelming part of visitors are indeed foreigners. Hence the fact that the small number of staff visible doesn’t seem to speak anything else but German ensures that other visitors like myself really doesn’t even have a chance at understanding the few official PA announcements… There without a doubt will be other options in the Berlin region will you feel that immediate urge to go for a swim,,,

This is a great spot. BUT YOU MUST BRING OFFICIAL PHOTO ID with you. ie passport!!!! NO ENTRY WITHOUT IT. ORIGINALS ONLY. YOU PAY IN. Very easy to get to from Berlin on the train. It is a straight road/path, tree lined walk from the train station at Nikolasse (Get the S-Bahn, S7) It is a lovely big beach, patrolled with security so it is safe. lifeguards monitor the water. it is very shallow for a great distance out. The water is clean with a mostly sandy bottom. It was warm too they day we went. plenty of toilets. There are beach seats(wicker covered white ones) There is a room to the right of the main steps as you enter (past the food places) room has lockers, but you buy a flag to put on the beach chair to show you have paid. return the flag at end of the day and get your 2euro depoist back. Halbertag is for half a day hire. you can lift and move the chairs but it is a 2 person job. DO NOT BE EXPECTING ENGLISH TO BE SPOKEN-IT IS IN GERMANY AFTER ALL. Didnt use the lockers, or the watersports. but it was nice to chill for a few hours.

Strandbad Wannsee is an absolute Berlin gem! This historic lake offers a massive sandy beach, crystal-clear water perfect for swimming, and lush green spaces for relaxing. The vibrant atmosphere, great facilities, and stunning lake views make it an ideal escape. Highly recommend for a fantastic summer day out!
C — Google review
The view from the top was breath taking. We went there around 6pm. The sun was still up that time since its Summer. The water was not clear but there were many people swimming and sunbathing. We found a DJ playing music near by the sea and there was this band playing also on the upper area of the beach. There were Stalls for food and drinks. There was a place for Volleyball playing. The WC were massive. There's a bus that brings tourist from and to the S-Bahn station.

Rush hour on hot summer days, but you should go there at least once a summer. Very beautiful place for views, relaxation and getting your feet wet
Eddy K — Google review
good for time pass ,even there is free zone , just take the left way from the main gate , and you also get the lake vibe there and can take a sun bath

Berlin’s very own beach, its one of our favourite place in Berlin. People of any age can have a good time here. Its great for families and kids as well. Even a small stroll around the lake is relaxing and calming. Its green and full of Nature. Its very easy to go there from Berlin Mitte. It takes around half an hour hy S-bahn to Wannsee bahnhof. And from there a very easy and pleasant 15 mins walk on a straight road to the Wannsee Strandbad. Had been there last weekend (early April), it was a nice sunny spring day with 23 degree temperature. Luckily weather was just perfect to enjoy. Water was a bit chilly and not yet suitable for swimming but that didnt stop our kids from splish splashing. Kids had fun building sand castles and looking at the swans. Since it was not peak season the beach was not crowded and we had a great time. Things to note: - An ID card or a soft copy of ID proof and travel pass is needed to enter the beach - It costs 3.50 euro for the beach, free for kids below 4 yrs. It may vary in peak season - I may be wrong but I did not see any accessible way to the beach for prams or wheel chairs. But its manageable to carry the prams on the stairways

Müggelsee, the largest lake in Berlin, is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike during the summer months. Spanning almost 3 square miles, it offers scenic surroundings with forests on two sides and three different beaches to choose from, including a nudist section. The lake provides ample opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and hiking along its tree-lined and reed-covered edges.
I visited this place 3 times and I enjoyed the serenity and the atmosphere every time. The spreetunnel, the boatride, the drinks and the hiking trail in the island all are recommended.

Had great time was cute lake day, bit crowded on the small private beaches so need to walk a little but it is a nice route

Great place for a weekend. Snacks and drinks available close by.

A beautiful lake, u can walk around for hours as a matter of fact you can as well cycle jogg go for a picnic. The ship tours are very tempting i sadly couldn’t catch one, hopefully next time. The parking is for free.

A beautiful lake. Accessible by public transport from Berlin city center. A very good place to relax and enjoy sunshine. Restaurant near is good too. Worth spending an afternoon here. Big area for kids too. Recommended on a sunny day.
Praveen M — Google review
A bigger lake easily reachable by bike or public transport from Berlin, great to get away from the city, recharge in nature and wander around the forest surrounding the lake. Tip: the smaller Teufelsee nearby is a more chilled area and the Müggelturm provides a good view of the area.
Lilla K — Google review
I visit Müggelsee 🌊 on a Saturday afternoon, and it was a beautiful day, partially cloudy ⛅ with 11°C. I enjoyed walking🏃 in the woods till I reached the lake, which was frozen ⛄. There were many people with kids, dogs🐕 and 🚲. Everyone was nicely maintaining social distance 🙌. It's ideal for a day outing with family or friends. There are small kiosks that sell snacks and drinks by the lake but don't entirely rely on them as they could be closed, so I recommend that you pick-up food 🍟 and beverage🥤from the town. Please note if you are coming by public transport you could face some delays with tram and bus schedules. Other than that, don't let the cold weather stop you from exploring in the wild. 😉

Located in the heart of Berlin, Strandbar Mitte is a popular freshwater escape offering access to the city's best lakes and beaches. Situated near iconic landmarks like Museum Island, Alexanderplatz, and Brandenburg Gate, it provides a central location for experiencing oceanic atmospheres within the metropolis. The beach features numerous volleyball courts and is surrounded by galleries offering stunning views.
We went there with a group of 35 people for pizza’s and they were so helpful and super chill. The two people who were making the pizza made all 35 pizza within 20 min!! Also the guy behind the bar was so so nice and friendly. It was overall an amazing experience and would def go there again!!

We had a bad experience of really poor service at a Vietnamese restaurant not far from here, so stopped for a water and coke and to give our feet a rest. It was a lovely spot with big umbrellas for shade. Today was particularly hot so it was nice to get out of the sun for a while. The staff were so friendly too which gave us more reason to stay a little longer. Well done on creating a good, happy atmosphere in your space by the river.
Debbie F — Google review
I've loved coming to the bar for about 20 years now, but the service has sharply declined now. On a Friday night, it was not even 9 pm, the bar man had closed the taps - despite us having our arrival previously announced and agreed that we could stay till 10 pm. So a group of 30 people not only didn't get beer from the tap, the bar man then also suggested that he would close rather soon. Very disappointing!

The pizza surprised me, very good. The highlight there is the atmosphere, great for a sunny day in Berlin

Krumme Lanke is a popular swimming spot in Berlin, located on the edge of Grunewald. The lake offers pristine waters and unspoiled nature, attracting crowds of locals during warm summer days. It features multiple swimming spots and a secluded nudist beach for those seeking privacy. Visitors can enjoy a jogging track around the shore and take leisurely walks amid pine trees.
Beautiful lake for swimming surrounded by lots of trees. Great place to spend the day at!

Many beautiful places + views. Great for a walk, date or just to relax your mind and soul.
Dewayne G — Google review
Lovely lake for swimming and water activities. There is no showers or changing rooms, so you‘ll need to be comfortable with it. There are multiple reading benches in the side so you can just go and enjoy reading with a scene. Also there were some ducks around so don’t be scared if they literally landed on water next to you. And btw, some people enjoy nude swimming there, so take care.
Hoda M — Google review
Easily get there with S-Bahn or U-bahn and then walk for 15-20 minutes. There are different spots to stop buy and one of them you can buy food and drinks - I recommend you to bring your food/drink. Once you find your spot in the sand, stay there forever. It's a small area and people often don't find nice places to stay after a while and you need to find other places around the lake that might not have enough sunlight. So come early when it's a warm weekend. I'd say the public is mixed. With more family and children, more chilled ans relaxed. Nice water for swimming or stand-up paddle.
Bruno P — Google review
The beach you get in Berlin. A must go on a sunny day or weekend. Prepare before you go with snack and drinks as there is nothing to purchase near the park. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the lake from the station. There is a small shop that sells drinks and snacks inside the station. Get there early as it gets very crowded on sunny days and you won’t find a place to lay in the sun.
Henrique S — Google review
Clean lake. Great to swim on a summers day. Not much around so bring snacks.

Plötzensee is a popular urban lake in Berlin, offering swimming, sunbathing on the beach, and boat rentals. It's located northwest of the city center and is a favorite spot for locals to relax by the water when the sun is out. The lake is surrounded by tree-lined paths and offers a picturesque setting for outdoor activities. Visitors can hire bikes from the city center and cycle to Volkspark Rehberge, a large park with various recreational options.
I really wanted to say thank you to Lisa a Plotzensee manger for her fantastic support to help us organize summer event for my team. The food was fantastic ( thank you Alex), the service staff, bartenders plus technicians! They all did an amazing job to make sure our event will be on point! We highly recommend this place for any event. We were a group of approx 80 people.

This small lake near Wedding is a great spot for a refreshing swim. While the water quality is decent, it is not exceptional, but still good enough for a dip. It can get quite crowded, but I prefer the wilder side of the lake. There, you will find trees and meadows that offer a peaceful place to sit and relax. Occasionally, you might stumble upon a little rave, adding a unique and enjoyable twist to the experience

Nice beach, nice water , cool peoples. Real Berlin vibes. With new management seems more appropriate for hangouts and swimming also enjoying the culinary scene.
Faozan I — Google review
Summer’s worth going to here Has a tiny mix of everything for everyone. The drinks and food along with entry around are slightly steep but I guess that also demands for quality control
Anwesha C — Google review
Overall the lake and the vibes are great. It is handicapped friendly (if the equipment is working properly, which is not always the case. The down side is that in the evening they won't let you even dip your toes in the water, because there is no life guard service, but they still take full entrance price.
Oded T — Google review
Amazing Experience of Kayaking and Pedal boats nice super cool cafe . Must Visit !
RAKESH P — Google review
I went there for the first time this summer and was a bit disappointed. The entrance now costs 10 euros and no longer includes a drink like it used to. There were no DJs either. I went for the usual beach-like vibe, with music, swimming, and the fire at night where people would gather, warm up, and share moments. But instead, I found an empty beach, a higher entry fee, and no DJs. They still had music playing and the staff were very kind, though you could see in their faces the boredom— it gave me the feeling that the place just isn’t what it used to be.

Lovely beach and park, great for having a relaxing day in the nature and also very picturesque. It's also connected to Volkspark, which is like the icing on the cake.

Badeschiff is a seasonal floating swimming pool located on the Spree River, offering a unique experience for both locals and visitors. It provides stunning views of East Berlin, including iconic landmarks like the Fernsehturm and the Molecule Man sculpture. Adjacent to the East Side Gallery, it offers access to the world's longest open-air mural collection. The pool itself is housed in an old cargo container and features a beach bar, making it a popular spot for leisure and relaxation.
Book in advance and follow the time table, you have time to go in and leave. Pool has no heat (obviously) but was ok, they said around 20°C on June. I liked the experience, nice vibe, well organized.
Ramiro M — Google review
The best way to feel the summer in Berlin! 🌞 A pool floating on the River Spree 💙absolutely spectacular! I couldn’t believe I was swimming and sunbathing like this… right in the middle of Berlin. Located in vibrant Kreuzberg, I got there on foot, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The vibe is laid-back and summery, perfect for a relaxing break in the city. Make sure to book your slot in advance (around €8 for 2 hours) 😉it’s totally worth it. The area is spacious, with a beach bar atmosphere, food and drink service, and beautiful views of the Spree, with the Molecule Man sculpture in the background. After a mandatory shower, you can dive into the refreshing 23°C water. The pool is up to 2 meters deep, but has shallower edges for more comfortable swimming and lounging. In case you wanna take public transport: The nearest S‑Bahn station is Treptower Park, about an 8-minute walk away. You can also take a bus to Heckmannufer, just 5 minutes from the venue. I absolutely loved it. A unique summer experience in Berlin ☀️would go again in a heartbeat! 🏊🏼‍♀️
VERONICA N — Google review
Highly Regulated and Not So Fun: If you're looking for a relaxing day at the pool, this isn't it. This place feels less like a fun day out and more like a highly regulated, bureaucratic "German experience." While the pool itself is impressive, the strict rules and a frustrating booking process take all the enjoyment away. The biggest issue is the extremely limited access. You can only purchase tickets online exactly two days in advance, and you're locked into a rigid 1.5-hour time slot. If you're hoping to swim more than that, you're out of luck. The system is so strict that you can't even enter before your designated time. Once you're finally in, you'll find even more restrictions. The water is surprisingly cold, and you're not allowed to take photos from the pool deck—for no stated reason. It feels like they've gone out of their way to make the entire experience as restrictive as possible. Overall, the beautiful pool is completely overshadowed by the complex rules and lack of flexibility. It's a shame, because it could be a great place. But in its current state, it's simply not worth the hassle.
Zwegchen — Google review
Pool is cold but water quality is great! A bit sad they don’t let you bring in your water bottle so you can’t drink after a few laps in the pool…
Martin C — Google review
Expensive !!!!! I can understand how after corona they understood how much money they can make when they limit the time . But 8€ for 2 hours !?!?( I would make it 4 hours stay minimum ) That's not cool . Besides it's great location and super lovely it's on the spree. Could see how as a privet events location it's amazing. Drinks are regular Berlin 2025 prices . Letting people bring their own water should be allowed in summer it's hot and it's important to stay hydrated
Ran H — Google review
Brilliant day out in Berlin! Enjoyed the pool, was cold but great to cool off in the sun. Excellent value at €8 for a two hour slot. Book your slot in advance. No drinks allowed to be taken in but there’s a bar with all drinks and food available. It was a lot bigger than we thought, with a hammock area, plenty deck chairs and sand, like a beach to sunbathe. Among all the outdoor pools this is the cleanest and least loud I’ve been to in Berlin. Make sure to book in advance, and highly recommend going during a weekday up to 17.30 as it might be tricky to find a seat afterwords.

The pool was interesting to look at. German sensibility regarding clothing/attire at pools is very different and worth knowing about if you are considering bringing children here.

I've never been here at night, so I don't know what it's like as a club, but I have been here during the day. When you enter they search your bags for food and drinks and unfortunately make you throw away (or consume) whatever you brought. In my case I just had a transparent water bottle which I had to empty. It was my choice to do it and enter of course but I think it's a bit rude to ask people to empty water bottles. I understand they don't want me to bring drinks or food inside but really - it's just water and they are not the Airport security. I will obviously consume something inside (as I did) but I also want to keep my water for the rest of the day and not buy a new bottle and create more Plastic consumption and pollution. In addition, they ask for a "donation" of 1-5 EUR to enter which was also a bit absurd after they made me waste water. The place itself: is nice as it's close to the river and you have an area with sand and with beach chairs you can relax in. In conclusion: If you come without any drinks and don't mind paying the donation - it's a cool place. For me - because I was with a friend who wanted to go I also went with him but I won't come again now that I know what to expect at the entrance. Enjoy.

With nearly 50 modern beach volleyball courts, a heated dome for winter games, and a high ropes course, this large inner-city beach area offers diverse recreational opportunities. Visitors can also enjoy the variety of beach bars and open-air terraces while soaking up the sun.
Beach Mitte is an amazing spot for both beach volleyball and padel the courts are top-notch and really well maintained. Whether you’re going for a competitive game or just some casual fun, it’s the perfect setting. What really sets this place apart is the relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. They serve delicious breakfast bowls (a must-try!) and you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail while soaking up the sun. It’s also super family-friendly a great place to bring the kids and enjoy a sunny day out. Love spending my summer days here. A perfect mix of sport, chill, and good vibes. Highly recommend!

It's all fine until they have to resolve something. After months trying to retrieve my volleyball that got stuck in their structure when they put us to play on an badly improvised "inside court" (it's actually the place they use for parties), they lost my volleyball, did not compensate me for it and stopped replying to my emails.

We booked a court and played there. Very nice place. The bar is also very good, there is music and the atmosphere it’s great. I would definitely recommend this place
Valentina F — Google review
They keep cancelling padel courts for open matches whenever it’s convenient for them. Really disappointing. Also court quality is bad, nets don’t have weights on the bottom and swing freely when it’s windy as well as court flooring is displaced at the net.

Nestled in a residential area of East Berlin, Strandbad Orankesee is a hidden gem offering a family-friendly beach experience. This seasonal beach at Oranke Lake features sandy and grassy areas, beach volleyball courts, and a snack bar. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as changing facilities, food stands, and even a waterslide for added fun. The natural lake has been popular for swimming since 1929 and offers options to rent beach chairs or sun loungers.
Pretty place to chill next to water. Lake is not very big, but the beach area is quite big. There is a nice sand territory, sand was also nice and clean. As well as there is a big green area covered with grass. There is a beach valleyball field and two table tennis. There is also many trees, so you can find lots of shadows. It's a paid swimming place, costs 6 euro for adults, and 3 euro after 17. But be careful, the place is closing at 19. You can buy on territory Pommes, Wurst, some drinks. There are also water guards. In other words, full pack :) Check it out.

I can't go to Orankesee alone because they have no lockers to keep your bags safe. Otherwise it's a nice beach with a Imbiss for snacks. The water is generally of good quality and they even reduce the price for students and for the last 2 hours of swimming starting at 16:30pm.

€8 entry. Some ice creams and sausage offerings at the snack shop. Entrance was randomly a bit hard to find but maybe our cab driver just dropped us off at a weird spot. Loveliest afternoon though. Just bear in mind the queue for the changing rooms can be long if you get there right before the beach closes
Ash C — Google review
These days you need to be ready to spend some time in the line before enter. Slides are closed. Bar has only drinks, ice, pommes and curry wurst and you are not allowed to order food from any other restaurant because they won't let you to pick it and enter again. 👎
Agnieszka J — Google review
Very good lake for swimming and spending a warm day. Entrance is 6€. The area is very big! There is both a sandy beach and grass area. You can rent chairs and buy food/icecream in the kiosk but you can also bring your own food and drinks. There are changing room facilities, toilets, showers, and a water slide going into the lake. There is also a border in the water for children safety and a lifeguard on duty. If you want to secure a place in the shade you should come when they open (or bring your own parasol) - but the line can be long still!

Nice water this lake. Lots of little beaches for small groups, but you'll have to walk around to find an empty spot on a sunny weekend. The water gets deep very suddenly so be careful!
Richard J — Google review
Not worth the crazy amount of people, perhaps nice in the early morning. The water is clean, that’s definitely a big benefit. The main beach area has sand and is quite spacious, and there are a few more grassy areas further along the lake where you can also lay and swim. However. This lake is an absolute playground at most hours during the summer. As the evening goes on, the amount of children increases, and it almost becomes unbearable to even enter the water with all the screaming and playing and splashing. So if you have kids, great. Parking is available but can be tricky, depending on where you drive up you may have to walk for around 15-20 minutes to get to the lake.

This place is really good. On a weekday it was not crowded, family friendly, good service, quite & cozy. The beach is clean, no trash or sharp objects on the sand, the water is much cleaners with much less algae than usually berlin beaches. There are showers, changing rooms, toilets, feet washes and volleyball fields. We rented the beach chairs and umbrella, they are solid and fine, Not the best but quite usable. About The food service: The beer was good and cold, the fries are freshly made and currywurst was delicious & Service was friendly with an english speaker also. The place is really family friendly, lot’s of kids playing and having fun with their parents. And kinda chill for couples and singles too if not too crowded. The bathroom was also clean. Absolutely too full. There was no space to swim without touching someone else. Also too much smoking on the relaxing areas and it felt like our kids and I were sunbathing in a cloud of smoke. I can only perhaps recommend to go here on a cloudy day during the week, then maybe it’ll only be half so full.
Violet H — Google review
What we liked The pool was quite big and there was plenty of space to sit around the edges. What we disliked: The queueing system was a bit confusing and it took a while to get in. The pool was very busy and there were lots of people doing dangerous backflips in the middle of the pool almost landing on or near people. The lifeguards were oblivious. We didn't get a chance to do the slide due to the large queue The pool was extremely cold. The surrounding areas of the pool were constantly filled with youths smoking so it was hard to find a smoke free area.
Jamie L — Google review
To maximize enjoyment follow all advice from the reviews: 1. Don't forget a valid ID (no health insurance cards!) 2. Buy tickets online to avoid some of the lines 3. Don't bring anything forbidden (like glass) With all that in mind it's not a bad pool.
Denys T — Google review
Last weekend, I visited the Humboldthain outdoor pool, and it was extremely crowded with quite a bit of chaos. It’s always impressive to see what the staff there manage to handle — especially with such a large number of guests, it’s truly a remarkable achievement. What stood out to me in particular was the outstanding work of one of the lifeguards in the diving and deep-water area. He wore a white cap, carried a megaphone, and didn’t wear a shirt — unfortunately, I don’t know his name. His presence and professionalism made me feel very safe. He even protected us during a tense situation with other guests and resolved the conflict calmly and effectively. For that, I’m truly grateful. Instead of complaining, I’d like to use this review to say thank you — thank you to all the staff who work hard every day to make sure we can enjoy a safe and pleasant visit. Your work does not go unnoticed! Just: thank you.

Teufelsberg, located in the western part of Berlin, is a man-made hill that was once home to a former U.S. listening station during the Cold War. The site is now covered in eye-catching street art and offers panoramic views of the city. Visitors can explore the remnants of large satellite dishes and domed towers while immersing themselves in Cold War history. The area's official archives are set to open in 2020, shedding light on its mysterious past.
Amazing place, with a nice gallery and incredible street art! Entrance is 12,00 for an adult. They have a little restaurant and there are toilets. You can spend there easily 2 hours and it has an underground vibe! Big recommendation when visiting Berlin. The area around is also nice for some hiking. 5/5

What an amazing historical place. Loved the street art and the guided tour all the way up to the top. Great view included. Admission fee justified to maintain the place.

ART EVERYWHERE! TOTALLY AMAZING PLACE CLOSE TO BERLIN! YOU NEED TO VISIT! PARKING IS FREE ENTRANCE FOR 10 EUROS! YOU CAN BUY SOME SNACK AND COFFEE THERE! AND YOU CAN CREAT LOT OF AWESOME PHOTOGRAPHS HERE!
GEORGE B — Google review
We booked tickets for an 11:00 opening and were delighted with how much street art is crammed in, and the juxtaposition of the abandoned radar domes, green forest and counter-culture art. We’re from Bristol, the home of Banksy, and have enjoyed tours in areas renown for street art from Melbourne to New York, but this will be one of the most memorable. €12 isn’t unreasonable to contribute to the upkeep, and in the first slot it wasn’t too busy. There are some delightful large pieces as well as areas of paste up and small art. Well worth the visit!
Paul — Google review
The place itself is fascinating, a unique mix of urban decay, graffiti, and panoramic views over Berlin. But our visit at the end of July was a deep disappointment due to poor communication and unprofessional handling of a problem. We came specifically for the Declassified exhibition, which was clearly advertised on the official website and included in the admission fee. After paying full admission, we discovered inside that the exhibition was closed, with no prior notice online or at the entrance. We went back to the cashier, who didn’t even know it was closed. She had to make a phone call, after which she simply said: “It’s closed today,” offering no explanation, apology, or compensation. I contacted the organization the same day and was kindly offered a refund. I replied immediately with my bank details and a bank-confirmed proof of payment, and explained, openly and reasonably, that I no longer had the paper receipt. Then came three weeks of silence. When I followed up, I was told that a refund was not possible without the receipt, even though the payment confirmation I had sent was official, clear, and more precise than any paper ticket. Together with the confusion and lack of accountability on site, it only adds to the impression of poor organization and missing professionalism.

One of the most interesting places I visited on my trip to Berlin. Teufelsberg is an old field station that is now a public street art gallery. You can go up to the highest building and see very good views of Berlin. Every corner of this place has it's own story. It's a long hike trough the forest to get to Teufelsberg, but totally worth it. The entrance is about 12 €.
Pauls — Google review
If you’re looking for a short hike through the forest, Teufelsberg is a great choice. The 4–5 km walk rewards you with beautiful views from the top. Just watch out for mosquitoes—they can be a bit of a nuisance.
Mohamed Y — Google review
since 2022- becoming more formal amd organized, also costs 12€ now, but still have a terrific vibe, lots of talented artwork, and the same history- with much more detail explained in new corridors and signage. the drink offerings and bathrooms are much improved over past years and it is still a destination I suggest to everyone who visits Berlin!

The Strandbad Weißensee is a great swimming area located in the district of Weissensee in Berlin. It features a lovely beach, playground, bar and plenty of benches for visitors to relax on. This is an excellent spot for people who want to take a relaxed stroll or enjoy some sunbathing during their stay in Berlin.
Sadly, no fishing allowed here (and honestly, probably for the best), but walking around the lake with leaves falling and a local grandpa playing the harmonica? Pure cozy vibes. For a moment, you forget you’re in Berlin and feel like you’re on a peaceful countryside escape. Simple, charming, and totally relaxing. A true oasis in the neighborhood!
Ruslan Y — Google review
Bad weather, completely empty, late afternoon and they try to rip people off with 10 euros entry (per person) in the sand area for a kid to go down the slide twice. After we ate and had overpriced drinks there. Unbelievable and unacceptable. I hope this goes bust, change in concept (and ownership) would be refreshing. Ah yes, also rude.
Sinisa G — Google review
In a city like Berlin it’s a luxury to see some water, take a bath, have a nice drink and (at least at the moment) there is a food truck selling some nice pizza. All of this quite close to the center of the city. Weisensee it’s still just a few tram stops from Alexanderplatz - I guess that takes around 20mnts - and it offers a great relaxing time! It’s one of my escape places. When the sun shines, it’s a great pick!
João M — Google review
Weißensee is a peaceful and charming lake located in the northeastern part of Berlin. Surrounded by trees and a lovely park, it’s perfect for a relaxing day out. The atmosphere is calm, making it ideal for picnics, walks, or just sitting by the water. In summer, the small beach area is popular for swimming, and there’s even a café with a terrace offering beautiful views. It’s less crowded than other Berlin lakes, which adds to its appeal. Whether you want to sunbathe, enjoy nature, or take photos, Weißensee offers a cozy and refreshing escape from city life.
Bochra M — Google review
I love this place. Nice bathrooms, cafe and has food at specific times. They have deck chairs and a shallow area good for kids. It's a good price and such a nice day out

Beautiful place to spend evening. Even kids can enjoy as there's a Kinderspielplatz inside. Lots benches available to sit and relax. If you would like to get some sun-tan by enjoying the lake, this place is ideal.

Absolutely love this place! The sand area is not massive but I have never been there on a busy day. The water was so perfect and not dirty at all. You have lots of space to swim. I always try to come here with my friends visiting as it is a very special place.

The cobblestone pathway that runs alongside the lake offers an abundance of trees, a pier, and docks for boat excursions. The scenery is delightful, providing a picturesque view of the lake and a charming promenade to stroll along or relax on the grass. Additionally, there are discreet lakeside trails available for walking enthusiasts. Visitors can conveniently launch boats or kayaks from this location or opt to rent one. Although it can get crowded during sunny weekends, this only adds to its allure.
Had a very nice walk along the promenade. This is the place you would take a pleasure boat on Tegel lake. There was music and a small cafe. Beautiful views of the lake. But Don't Feed The Ducks.

A beautiful place by the waterfront. Has a children's play area, lots of walking paths, greenery, paddle boat renting and small restaurants. You can even go for a boat ride from here. The lake looks pretty dotted with white sail boats, ducks and swans. Perfect place for a family picnic. Named after a small village in England this place too has a British feel to it.

Weißer See is a picturesque lake located in the quiet district of Weissensee, just a short walk from the M4 tram stop. The area is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a wooded walking trail perfect for leisurely strolls. While swimming, boating, and fishing are technically prohibited, visitors often partake in these activities during the summer months despite the presence of algae in the water.
Weißense lake is super amazing and just like 2 to 3 minutes walk from the m4 tram stop. This place has an amazing fountain and a huge place for walking by the lake. Swimming, boating, biking fishing everything is banned but in summer people just do everything that they are told not to. But the lake is full of algae in case you decide to swim but still it's indeed a good place for a good swim. Usually during the rains it becomes muddy but still that won't stop you from having a walk by the lake so just go and enjoy

I visited it today again in the evening.. It was full with people even late at 20:00 . The water was much cleaner than the last time when there was a " schwimmen verboten " 🚫 sign... That was caused from the ducks 😅 due to the fact that many people feed them.. Today nevertheless, it seemed to be very clean.. A lot of people enjoyed swimming and refreshing themselves 😎

CAUTION! someone drowned her a few days ago. A young 25 year old guy. Pls be careful and don’t go in alone. This happens regularly in all the lakes around. There are usually no guards unless it’s an artificial beach with an entrance fee. It’s beautiful and a great place to be. Just wanted to post this since many don’t realize the danger and the lack of guards here in German lakes.

The complex includes luxury hotels, quirky clubs, fine-dining restaurants, art installations, and indie shops.
really cool spot! unfortunately went on a Sunday so a lot of the shops/restaurants were closed but cool to walk around. Especially loved being able to sit next to the river with a beer!

Very nice & unique place. Close to the river. In the summer it gets pretty full but it has many nice hidden seating corners. Different spots where to get food or drinks. Cool hidden gems like this small statue on the picture or a telephone box with music. :)

One of my favourite places that we visited in Berlin- very on brand with its surroundings. Think grungy river-side market with a bar that opens in the evening. Would highly recommend the tea stall (some of the teas come from his garden in Sri Lanka), and the salmon sandwich stall.
Kal S — Google review
Love this place. Holzmarkt 25 is far more than just a gathering spot—it’s an urban wonderland where Berlin’s creative soul flourishes along the Spree River. Once the clandestine site of the legendary Bar25 club, this community-driven village fuses art, music, sustainability, and alternative culture in a way unlike anywhere else in the city. A perfect spot for chilling by the River Spree.

Nice little market with a lot of original and handmade stuff. I don’t get why it costs 3€ to enter it, even if for some reason I didn’t have to pay this fee. Only four star for the poor fish stuck in this ridiculously small pond

Always great visiting this rooftop bar. I love rooftop bars. There’s great views, especially sunset views, good Flammkuchen, good drinks, service was great. There was a Latin party when we went and entrance fee was 10€. Otherwise on normal days, entrance fee is usually way less.

Great atmosphere and decorations, there's both indoor and outdoor sitting, dog friendly, and it's on rooftop , so has a nice view. make sure the weather is nice tho, we went during rain and it was a BAD EXPERIENCE. they charge 4 euro entry fees and then after entering they told us that the kitchen is closed so no food is available, we had to just order drinks. the table beside us had to order food online and got it delivered. imagine that! this things they should intimate before getting in.

On the top of the Schönhauser Alle Arkaden (5th floor, you can take the lift from inside tge shopping center) you can find a very nuce roof top bar. Environment is extremely cool, you can find sand and beach stairs. At dusk the lights are really beautiful. A nice plus, the food is very good. The flammkuchen is excellent. Really nice place

I went on a weekday. Paid 3€ for the entrance. The view and the sunset were magnificent. Food was okay. Falafel plate with fries was good as well as the thin pizza dish. Prices were ok. Toilet clean. Music r’n’b from the early 2000. You really feel like you are at the beach but only without the sea. My recommendation 👍
Zorana S — Google review
The place is nice, great views!! But the people at the main bar (not at the food stand, or the cocktail bar, or the small bar, those are super nice) are THE WORST. We ordered 3 times and all 3 times they were nothing but rude!! Wtaf?!

Bar
Club der Visionäre is a popular riverside bar located near the Spree in Kreuzberg, featuring a wooden sun terrace and known for its electronic music and Sunday afternoon parties. The venue emerged from a fire in 2019 and has become one of the city's favorite spaces for open-air drinking and dancing.
I had one of my best time in Club De Visionare - this place is amazing, so unique, so real. I recommend to anyone who is serious about electronic music and clubbing culture. This place is an real great choice for sunday/monday chillout but after sunset this place change to be a serious club. During my stay in this place i felt free and not judged by anyone (customers or workers). Everebofy was very kind, talking to eachother. People left things on table and other people did look after, really something i never experienced. Thank you for „no phone policy” Energy of this place was soooooooo unforgetable, really i did many clubs in berlin/london/ibiza but this place has such unique vibe and provides what is important in club culture. Soundsystem this was my biggest surprise here is very detailed, bass was punchy not too loud, i really did enjoy listening music there. DJ - that was my biggest surprise. DJ was playing on vinyls music, simple melodics - during day more chillout, relax genre but as night was getting close the dj start to pump up speed and changing styles to reach house level tempo. His abillity to play with people and force them to dance only by doing his magic by sound, that was ART! It resamble more like spectact in theatre rather some usb dj style playing. Hands down to this man really i never felt so much connection with music and my body did react without any thinking to his work. Security - 10/10 very nice, they provide security without feeling being under observation - as it should be. Bar - prices are normal, only thing i did like there is no card payment. Overall 11/10 - i did monday event 19/08 and for sure i will comeback.

Super chill, alternative place in Berlin. Looks like iconic bar/club with house/electronic music on background. Great river view with slum-like vision. Very friendly international people as well. One of the best places in Berlin to spend your evening/night with ur friends and good German beer!
Liutauras T — Google review
Was there one time, wouldn't recommend. The only thing that's okay are the beer prices. The DJ played literally almost the same beat for half an hour, no transformation or anything. It seems to be made for tourists. And you can't pay with card anywhere in that club wich is very unpleasant for people who are used to pay with card. The atmosphere is okayish for people who just want to have a drink but not for going to a club or partying in any way.
Yuko B — Google review
What a fun night of highs! Dancy electro housey beats and drinks not overly priced. Lots of mature people there for a good time, and boy was it had!! Until 10am the next morning!! First time in 5 years I have felt compelled to just keep going, dancing and dancing and dancing some more, meeting awesome peepos and lovin the vibe the DJs were creating!! 💯❣️🎶🕺💃 Took me 4.5 years to discover this gem by the water! So happy that I randomly did!! ✌️❤️🥰🙏 The cooks sorted me with a Vegan Supremo-style pizza that was not on the menu but for an extra couple euros they put all the veges on it... Big LOVE to you! AND it was creative and delicious! So yummy that by the time I had devoured this good-sized Garden Of Eden Special I was wearing it too 🤣🤪👍🍕🌿🌏

Amazing laidback vibe on the riverside to start a weekend afternoon and feel the sunset. Starting with smooth house to get you into the vibe, and building the tempo towards the evening. Perfect music to warm up for a move to a full on techno club or just stay back and dance the night away. The crowd was super chill, and the bouncers were friendly and unpretentious. On a side note, the pizza was also really good if you feel like grabbing a bite. Overall an amazing experience in this iconic place to feel the Berlin vibe.

Back again after several years in this club . Well simply one of the best , still the same love for music and the underground culture . No fussy , no problem at the door, just pure music . What a great way to enjoy a Sunday
Damiano Z — Google review
One of the best places for a night out and the DJ was incredible. The view of the river is lovely. I just wish security was more strict with drug use in the bathrooms. I saw groups of people do hard drugs in there, the bathrooms are quite dirty too. You don’t need drugs to have fun. I only had 2-3 drinks and our whole group had an incredible time.
Sugar P — Google review
We didn’t enjoy it that much. We arrived on a Thursday night and the other clubbers were mainly tourists who were not really down for dancing together and interacting. The service was slow and unorganized (we were cut from the line) and the music was pretty boring. The location by the river isn’t as exotic as it might look

Nice little lake for swimming. Good spots in the shade with grass or on the sand by the water. There are picnic tables too if u need them. The kiosk was well priced and quick to serve. The water was very clear and shallow a nice distance out for the little ones.

Good location to go by S bhan, but that's where the positives end. I arrived in the afternoon and had to pay for entry, but it was extremely crowded, with no control over the number of visitors. The lake is small, with limited sandy areas and very few access points to the water. The water quality was poor, with an unpleasant odor, and the bottom was covered in sharp, uncomfortable plant debris. The swimming area felt cramped, like an overcrowded, enclosed pool, and it was difficult to find a comfortable place to relax. I wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone.

I’ve been coming here for many years. I haven’t been in a long time, but it seems very dated. Both the slides and diving boards are closed. Why? Doesn’t look like they are being worked on. How excited I was to visit a wedding in this beautiful location! However, the organisation of the venue and the service quality was about the worst I ever experienced! Some of the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional (the bar people were a positive exception though)! This is not how you treat people at an event, let alone a wedding! The bride was even shouted at, which is absolutely unacceptable! Also surprising, as she is the sweetest most communicative person I know. The guests of this wedding were not even behaving in any extraordinary way, just normal wedding guest! But they were treated rudely and even insulted. The path to the toilets was completely dark, which was especially difficult for older people and I heard some of them tripped. The conditions there were not hygienic and later I heard some people experienced stomach issues. Completely unprofessional business in a beautiful location. Should not be allowed to continue like this!
Lucas G — Google review
As most reviews here have noted the major negative aspect to this bathing area is the sanitary facility situation. Placing Dixie toilets inside a low-rise building is not a solution and makes a terrible impression. Overall the rest of the facilities give a rundown impression. Kind of like the place hasn’t been cared for since 1972 but without the 70s charm. On the upside, as others have noted, the area is lovely and so is the beach. Lots of space to lay on the grass. However, it feels like it could be so much better. A missed chance here by the people managing the place.
Cormac W — Google review
My daughter was married there yesterday. The location is beautiful. My contempt for the management is huge. The ‘manager’ there promised so much when we visited last December. Unfortunately we were let down on so many levels. What is slightly disturbing was that items we brought to make the venue nice ( promised by the management but in the end we did it ourselves) went missing. Since yesterday some attendees have had stomach problems. To be honest I am not surprised given the disgusting state of the barbecues and the cleaning regime. The appalling saga continued this morning when we were denied access to pick up our equipment and to clear up unless a contract was signed accepting g that we would pay the balance and not request compensation. This was tantamount to blackmail. The ‘management’ need to learn how to respect and honour their wedding guests not to attempt to humiliate them. I am going to pursue this case further especially with the Health and Safety authorities. There is no way this place should be allowed to offer weddings. They have one temporary toilet block which was absolutely filthy with locks that did not work sited at the far end of the site a long walk especially for the elderly. The toilet block newer to the patio area ( which was promised to be open and functioning) appears to be a derelict building which smells terribly. In all my experience this has to be the worst, most incompetently run,, unprofessional and rude establishments.

We visited a wedding in this nice location but it was not well organised by the staff. During the ceremony some people had to stand as there were not enough chairs provided. We had to pay for snacks and at night the path to the toilets was dark. When we were dancing in a full room INSIDE we were attacked for opening a window - how else were we supposed to get air? If we are not allowed to open it because of the music, then why offer weddings here? Over the next days I heard how the bride and other guests were treated by the staff, which is not ok at all. Very rude and unprofessional. Should be improved for the future.
Rafael C — Google review
As the professional celebrant for my niece’s wedding on Saturday, despite the location being beautiful and my niece and her new husband being so very happy, the organisation and management of the site was totally chaotic and disorganised. Never before have I turned up to lead a service with the bride’s mother only for us to then have to scour the beach to find additional chairs for the ceremony. Only 50 had been provided for 150 guests. Any adherence to health and safety was completely lacking in all respects - the toilet facilities were far away and unlit in the dark causing me to trip twice- there were no facilities for the disabled - this would not be allowed in the U.K. resulting in a huge fine. Someone required first aid (a plaster) and there was no first aid box. Management were unhelpful I would not recommend this as a wedding venue but putting this aside it was a beautiful family wedding event

Großer Wannsee, located in the southwest of Berlin, offers a perfect escape from the city with its lush green woodlands and a stunning lake. The area features yachting clubs, cultural sights, and a charming café overlooking the water. Visitors can enjoy a half-mile-long sandy beach at Wannsee lido, complete with wicker beach chairs and a nudist area. Boat cruises across Berlin's lakes start from this picturesque location.
The serene views of the water, especially during sunset, are breathtaking and create a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful moment on the shore or engaging in activities like badminton by the water, the setting adds so much beauty to the experience. The calm water reflects the changing colors of the sky, creating picturesque moments that feel almost surreal. It’s an excellent spot for both nature lovers and those seeking a quiet escape. The presence of swans gracefully swimming adds a magical touch to the lake’s tranquility. Overall, Großer Wannsee is a must-visit for anyone looking for peace and scenic beauty by the water!

ATTENTION: 5 star for the lake and 2 star for the staff. Very unfriendly, unhelpful and ridiculous ticketing policy. We're 2 families with small kids, have booked ticket in advance online. We stay under hot sun for 20 min in the queue. Our tickets slot was from 10-12, we got the chance to scan it about 15 min after 12 because of the queue, not because we were late. And we COULDN'T enter. The staff were rude and didn't help us at all. All they told us is to buy new tickets. So in the end, we had to pay twice. It make no sense to buy ticket online.

Dear Barman REMEMBER Handle a receipt in Germany is mandatory , denied it is ILLEGAL. If you choose cash only , doesn't mean you shouldn't write a receipt. And remember to be nice with your customers especially paying 7€ for 2 small Radler, when across the street costs half price. Regards Your customer

To be avoided. Last night we bought some wine and asked for glasses. Each glass had a “Pfand” so we had to pay for each glass a guarantee of 1 euro. When we returned the glasses we were told that they no longer pay for the glasses back. We ended up paying 11 euro for the glasses that we returned back. We were taken for foreigners. What a rip off. Never coming back. What a shame!

Strandbad Halensee is a delightful oasis in western Berlin, welcoming everyone from families to stylish city dwellers. This beach and restaurant combo offers a serene escape with plenty of sunbeds and a special water playground for kids, making it perfect for all ages. The culinary offerings are impressive, featuring delicious dishes like pesto pasta sourced from the renowned Petrocelli's.
Wonderful Strandbad with an amazing beach and delicious food! There was nothing vegan on the menu but the chef was extremely accommodating and made a delicious dish with artichokes. I will definitely be back for a swim!
Martin L — Google review
I have mixed feeling about this place. Let's start with the good parts: The place is beautiful. A stretch of gold sandy beach, overlooking the beautiful Halensee (lake). On the beach side there's a closed perimter in the lake, so it's ideal for kids. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the beach itself has plenty of sits and shade. The bad parts: Food and drinks are not allowed in, even water for small kids. You have to leave them upstairs and can come up to drink and eat if you wish, but there are a lot of stairs so it's not a viable option for kids. The alternative is to buy at the beach side bar, Which is very expensive. A coke (small) and beer (bottle) set me back 8.5 Euro. The entrance was 7 Euro per adolt, and my kids (3 and 6) did not have to pay. While if you go up you can find toilets, there are none next to the beach, and we did not find any showers which was an issue since kids water and sand equal a whole lot of mud. We enjoyed our stay, but 22.5 Euros was a bit much for what we got. Not sure we'll be coming back...

Kaulsdorfer Baggersee (Butzer See) is a hidden gem located in the far-east of Berlin, making it one of the lesser-known lakes in the city. (Translated by Google) The Kaulsdorf Lakes are a 93.7-hectare landscape conservation area (LSG 41) in the Kaulsdorf-Süd district of the Berlin borough of Marzahn-Hellersdorf. The LSG includes Lake Butzer, Lake Habermann, and Kaulsdorfer Busch, a fenced-off wooded area within the water protection area of the Kaulsdorf waterworks. The boundaries of the LSG are as follows: Am Niederfeld Street in the north, Kressenweg in the east, Mannheimer, Grenz-, and Eschenstraße in the south, and the Kaulsdorfer Busch allotment gardens and Lassaner Straße in the west. The area around the Kaulsdorf Lakes features diverse vegetation, including forests, pastures and related shrubbery, meadows, and reed-covered shores. Eels, pike, and roach are particularly native to these lakes. North of the Kaulsdorf Lakes lies the Berlin Balcony, which forms the transition between two natural areas formed during the Ice Age: the Berlin Urstromtal in the south and the Barnimer Platte in the north. In the 1930s, Lake Butzer See and Lake Habermannsee were formed by sand and gravel extraction, which filled the lakes with inflowing groundwater. The Kaulsdorf Lakes area is used for groundwater extraction by the Kaulsdorf Waterworks, built in 1916 and located west of Lake Habermannsee. A narrow, vegetated sand ridge divides Lake Habermannsee into an eastern and western section when the groundwater level is low. The latter is sometimes considered a separate lake and is often referred to as a gravel lake. The Kaulsdorfer Busch forest area, which is covered with poplars, pines, and spruces, is used for forestry. Although Lake Butzer and Lake Habermann are designated as drinking water protection areas, they serve as illegal swimming areas during the summer months, and there is little enforcement of the swimming ban. The damage to flora and fauna caused by misuse is significant. The trash left behind by bathers also endangers drinking water quality via the groundwater. It covers an area of around 10 hectares and offers plenty of space for dogs to run around and play. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and has a beautiful promenade where you can take leisurely walks. The special thing about Hundekehlesee is that it was designed specifically for dogs, which is perhaps where the name comes from. He is possibly completely fenced in to ensure the safety of the four-legged friends, I can't say exactly. There are various areas where dogs can run freely without being kept on a leash. This allows the dogs to move freely and play with other dogs, sniff each other and what dogs do. The lake itself also provides an excellent opportunity for dogs to swim and cool off. The water is clean and clear, and there is even a separate area specifically reserved for dogs to swim. There the four-legged friends can splash around and let off steam while their owners watch them and relax. In addition to the swimming and play areas, there are also many walking paths at Hundekehlesee where you can have a great time with your dog. One can stroll through the adjacent forests, enjoy the fresh air and explore the beauty of nature. In addition to the recreational opportunities for dogs, the Hundekehlesee also offers various infrastructure facilities for the owners. There are enough parking spaces near the lake, so you can easily arrive by car. There are also benches and picnic areas where you can rest and enjoy a meal, of course with your four-legged friend.

(Translated by Google) Reachable by public transport, bus. Beautiful hiking trails through the forest and along the Havel. Nearby is the Grunewald Tower, which you can climb. If not, you can just sit downstairs in the restaurant, that's nice too ;-) (Original) Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, Bus, zu erreichen. Schöne Wanderwege durch den Wald und an der Havel entlang. In der Nähe befindet sich der Grunewald Turm, den man besteigen kann. Wenn nicht, setzt man sich eben unten ins Restaurant, auch schön ;-)

The beach Strandbad Tegeler See in Berlin is a remarkable testament to the dedication of its citizens and their commitment to society. This project has transformed the once dormant lido into a vibrant place for people to connect. Numerous volunteers have contributed their time and effort, revitalizing this location from its slumber. I highly recommend all residents of Berlin and visitors alike to take advantage of this opportunity by exploring the area on a bicycle.
Great, keep up the good work! Great beach, nice people and a epic slide!!!

great water slide!!! tables for table tennis. Overcrowded like all official berlin beaches. Not possible to pay with a card at the entrance
Natalia A — Google review
A wonderful example of the commitment of Berlin citizens to the society. The project enables a place of encounter for all. Many volunteers have helped, among other things, to kiss the lido out of its sleeping beauty slumber. I recommend all Berliners and guests to grab a bike and explore the area. The "Strandbad Tegeler See" is then the perfect reward and offers snacks, drinks and fun for young and old. ENJOY! :)
Mr. B — Google review
Actually a very nice location with an old school vibe and nice nature sight. 4€ for entry is cheap, no doubt. Prices for frites, ice and coffee are inexpensive as well. The staff is extraordinarily friendly. Unfortunately the pizza place was closed down the whole weekend. What really bothers is trash laying around everywhere. We went there 9am - opening time and still the whole beach was littered with baby diapers, bottles and other kind of stuff. Someone took care of it later on. Parking situation is horrible though. People that came later and couldn’t find a parking spot are ignoring parking prohibitions and blocking the only road leading to the location which then results in you waiting half an hour for them to clear the way.
Peet P — Google review
4eur beach (paid with card). really cheap food (paid with card) . Buses quite frequent (given location). Was a really busy day as it was 30 degrees on a Saturday, and there was still heaps of room. Mixed ages (mostly under 40, with lots of young 21+ range, and professionals/new families)
Ash Z — Google review
No infrastructure but you already expected to pay to visit this place.
Oleksandr B — Google review
This entry seems to be outdated. The correct one is “Strandbad Tegelsee”. Some reviews here indicate that the location is closed which is not true.
Mirko S — Google review
Permanently closed. Abandoned and in disrepair.
