Visited during street food Thursdays a few times and it’s always a fun affair. Been to a bunch of the stalls but there’s so many more I haven’t tried. The place is full of rich and enticing aromas so just follow your nose on a worldly adventure. Worth a trip over to sip wine or a cocktail while you eat yummy oysters, Turkish pizza, fufu, and whatever else your heart desires. They have pretty much everything in that market. Washrooms could be cleaned and restocked more. There was no soap and the tap only gives you a trickle of water. This was ~4:30pm when I last visited.

What a experience! We ate a lot and we Tried everything! The market is clean and very well organized, the food is good as the service. The quality of food makes the diffrence. Really cool place to try street food on Thursdays. The highlight there is the cheese festival. It is definitely a must visit in Berlin..however, the cost has doubled from last year which made it too expensive. The place itself is big but can get super crowded. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great.

A pretty local market with fresh food, flowers, bread, and sausages! I truly enjoyed my time looking around trying little bit of everything! Locals also came for lunch having wine, burgers, and other food. There is a little seating area by the bread store ◡̈

Seafood looked great (I didn’t try, but the people I went with liked it) and price seems to be okay. I had beef cheeks (wasn’t on the menu) and they were really good but not too much of a portion. All neatly decorated and well thought through. Would recommend for a change. Nice staff and well.

I tried cod for the first time instead of schnitzel, and I received a great recommendation for an alcohol-free Riesling. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I found it to be overpriced for the quality of the food. It seems that the pricing is more about the location and status than the quality of the meal itself.

We made a reservation at this German restaurant for lunch. The service was okay, but our main dishes were left out initially. The tartar and schnitzel were delicious, and the portions were generous. However, the seasonal menu of the deer was average.

Borchardt is an exceptional place to celebrate special occasions or have a date. Perfect german food, made of high-quality ingredients, in combination with sweet cocktail and freshly-made bread will gift you one of the best gastronomical experiences of your whole life. Atmosphere is quite fancy, and the food prices are higher than in ordinary places in Berlin, and it is totally justified, given the history of the place and the level of service. And all I would say — it is definitely worth every spent euro! I would like to visit this place one more time (or ten times more) Would definitely recommend! Really tasty dishes, although the EUR 14 truffle extra didn’t add any flavor, and the service took a bit to warm up. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the meal.

Impeccable hospitality, creative Asian inspired menu, amazing wine cellar!! I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Tim Raue, in May 2025. They were extremely accommodating of a reservation made on short notice. They were also very accommodating of my 7 year old son, who’s list of Michelin restaurant experiences is impressive and by no means his first experience. As I stated above the hospitality was world class. The food was exciting, incredibly tasty but approachable, and the wine cellar is incredible. I will definitely go back.

We ordered both menus and every single course across both the Koi & Traditional menus delivered a panoply of flavor, attention to detail, and top notch service. This is the first time I've dined at a Michelin star restaurant of any designation where every single dish was fantastic. Well worth the trip and experience!

My wife and I were in Berlin for a weekend get away. This was our first 2 star Michelin Restaurant. We had high hopes only to be sorely disappointed. Food: Others said it best, the dishes lack any semblance of balance and flavors. Its either lacking any distinct flavors or is so unbalanced it is difficult to eat. They had a dish that had liquid nitrogen just for show, not sure what it added to the dish. The palate cleanser was a wonderful refreshing dish, light, sweet and refreshing, it was perfect, until you got to the bottom, there was an overpowering jalapeno, spicey flavor. We both couldn't finish our veal cheek and wagyu beef dishes, the concentrated flavor tasted burnt and salty. Take a look at the pictures, they are both small dishes, that's how disappointing it was. Service: Started out so good, she was wonderful and did her best to be welcoming. Then it went down hill, we had a conveyor belt of staff coming through with dishes, water and wine. It was just transactional and most of the staff seemed sad and tired. Decor: This is the first time I went into a high end restaurant to see a wall painting of a Berlin street with black garbage bags. Not sure who thought this would be a good idea. But I am not particularly fond of looking at garbage bags for 4 hrs. Summary: So many better places to spend your money and time as a added bonus, dinner for two was $1,000 with wine and upcharges. No idea what Michelin is thinking, 2 STARS.

Service was excellent! We really felt like royalty. ~10 portions ~4h of lovely experience . Every round, they changed the entire cutlery “set". Somehow only the women waitresses were carrying the heavy trays… :( Food was nice, creative, but no tastes that swept us off our feet. The menu is fixed you can only pick 1 of 2 ver. We shared, so we tasted both. In our opinion, the price is unreasonable compared to what we got.

Excellent meal and service. My waiter Oliver made particular effort to make me feel welcome and chatted as a solo diner. Food excellent, you definitely want to substitute a dish for the langoustine - my favourite course. Apparently it used to be punchier, which I would have liked. Running the marathon tomorrow so opted for the non-alcoholic pairing, which was excellent, probably the best AF pairing I've had. Would never choose an AF wine, especially a red, but the chilled pinot noir was great! As it was busy I was sat downstairs, which was fine but lacked a bit of atmosphere or being able to see the kitchen. They did pre-warn me to be fair to them.

I was really anticipating having a wonderful experience. The food that was served was wonderful, but the service stinked. We only made it through the first five courses due to the poor service. We waited over an hour to be served the fifth course while all the other tables were being served three to five courses during that time. Disgusted with the lack of acknowledging our situation I requested to settle our bill so we could leave. Without apologizing, the manager asked us if we wanted to finish the meal. I had lost my appetite and was very disappointed and so we settled our bill and left. For a restaurant that prides itself on its service the way we were treated was unconscionable.

The food here is not cheap but the quality is worth the price paid. The service staff is good, including the owner of the shop, a very hospitable lady. There were four of us and we paid a total of 400 euros for food including drinks. We chose four menus. They don't accept credit card payments there. Must pay in cash only.

A visit to Heising is like stepping back in time to a different era. You'll be served French cuisine prepared with a stready hand. This will be served by the even steadier hands of the service staff that are well trained under under an invisible whip of their matron, the owner. That this is and old establishment can be seen here and there but the overall air of the place is amazing. If you want something cool and buzzing, thank again, but if you want to step in to a world of old-school hospitality, service and pomp, this is the place for you!

TL;DR: Food is great, but service was lacking, awkward, and in some cases rude, and it feels antequated. The night started off with my friends saying we should check it out, so i call to ask if its possible for me and 3 others to go today (in German). They tell me they're fully booked until tomorrow. About 2 minutes later my other friend calls, in German, and asks for 5 seats, and they say they have place. The whole time, there were no more than three tables occupied, so this was disrespectful and embarrassing. We arrive and we are spoken to like we have to be really quiet. The music is also very low with a handful of songs on repeat. Our stuff is put away, and we ask for an extra seat. When asked the owner walks away and prepared a sixth chair at our table. Very kind of them, but their attitude made it feel like we were troubling them. There's a plate that's always on the table. My friends and I used it for our bread and the lovely snacks they also offer, but we are told by staff that it is purely decorative and that the courses will be placed on top of them. We order still and sparkling water, I point out the two that wanted sparkling. They pour me sparkling, which I immediately switch with my friend who wanted sparkling but got normal, but then they pour me sparkling again. I ask for normal water and they say that I told them for me. I did not. The server stood behind us, looking keenly to refill our glasses Everytime. The food was amazing. The rabbit kidneys were really lovely, and the duck breast was great too. The steak was a let down according to my friends but I could not judge. the desserts were hit and miss. In my case, some elements felt overly sweet whilst others were well balanced. My friends had the assortment of desserts, which they felt was annoying since some were great and others not so much. My biggest complaint though is excessive use of sauce, which I had nothing but my fork to scoop it up with. I was told that proper etiquette was not to eat the sauce as it made it seem like only the sauce was good. I see it more as a waste, and I personally love cleaning my plate. We were coached on etiquette multiple times. Drinks were hard to navigate since beers and cocktails and sodas were all grouped under aperitifs, which made it hard for us to choose what we wanted. When we went to pay, I was in need of cash. I gave my friends the 40 I had, and asked where the nearest cash machine was. The owner told me next door, however, next door only worked for specific bank holders, same for the one across. After hunting for 20 minutes for a cash machine, I returned to a waitress waiting for me, telling me not to flex tip money to the owner like that. I tried telling her it was not tip money, but she maintained her argument and honestly at this point I just wanted to pay and leave, so I said whatever. We paid and left. All in all, the food was great, although the sauce was excessive (or nothing to clean a plate with). The place feels very outdated, service was rude, and I still feel disrespected from me trying to inquire about reserving. There were plenty of seats available. Give it a try for a fancy experience and yummy french food, but personally i felt very unwelcome and out of place. Personally i also found it very pompous.

Wonderful “Old School” French restaurant that serves some seriously good French cuisine. This is a special place for anyone who wants to experience a throwback evening with exceptional service, a great menu, and, of course, a special dinner.

WOW!! This is a very special restaurant, one of the oldest in Berlin and definitely the best service! I was lucky to find a table there on a short notice due to the train strike.. reserve in advance!! The food was unbelievable! I chose 3 course menu- and loved all of the dishes. The owner came to greet me and checked everything is ok.. And the waiters were very professional and attending! Would love to go back on my next trip to Berlin. FYI- they accept only cash payments- so prepare in advance.

This 40yrs old French restaurant is probably one of the best (and hidden) places in Berlin. Serving high quality traditional French food. You can pick between 3 or 4 course meal. We enjoyed evey moment! Pay attention that the family that own the place is very strict about reservations and accurate arrival time! They have zero flexibility and 100% proffessionalism. The food was amazing—but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The service was absolutely unacceptable—the worst I have ever experienced. I don’t speak German, so I pointed at the menu to show the server (shown in the picture) what I wanted. Instead of simply looking, he kept demanding to know what flavor I wanted for my drink. When I hesitated, confused, he RAISED HIS VOICE at me. Only after several frustrating exchanges and my answer did he finally glance at the menu and realize the flavor (apricot) was already listed. No choice was needed—just basic respect and patience. Throughout the meal, no one checked on us, which I totally understood since it was busy. But when that same waiter handed us our drinks and coasters, he THREW them onto the table instead of placing them down properly. Then, when we asked for the bill, two lines were circled—one stating that tips weren’t included and that “customers usually tip 10% in Germany.” After being treated so poorly, I chose not to tip. The waiter then CONFRONTED us what was wrong and muttered “impolite… rude” as we left. The worst part? I saw the same waiter being warm and friendly to other guests—smiling, treating them like actual customers. It was frustrating. I didn’t know what I did (just ordering food and sitting quietly) to deserve such hostility. Not everyone speaks German, and learning it takes time. If you can’t handle serving foreigners—if your first instinct is impatience and aggression instead of basic professionalism—then you’ve learned nothing from the past. Shame on you, Waiter(the one shown in the picture). I will never return. No one deserves to be treated this way—no matter how good the food is.

Quite an interesting experience for an Aussie. The menu is in a 1920’s style newspaper and the clothes most of the servers wore were also 1920’s style. Fortunately, the menu had English subtitles for the primarily traditional German food (as one would expect). There is outdoor seating available where a lot of smokers sit so I sat indoors which was quite cozy. I ordered a simple salad with chicken breast and a Caesar dressing. Bread was supplied as a courtesy on the side. My salad was fresh but mainly lettuce and a little more chicken would have helped. I’m not a big eater but I left feeling I needed something else, especially with the marathon coming up in a few days. I hadn’t intended to include a tip as this is something we only do in Australia for exceptional service but I was strongly encouraged to do so. Seems such an ‘American thing’ where it expected to subside the poor wages there. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Love the leg of pig. Crispy outside tender inside and the herb that cook with it are bringing the dish up to another level. Also love the pickles, taste different than what I had in US. Very busy restaurant.

Nice and well located restaurant. Tasty local food dishes, the menu offers great variety of German dishes and interesting local beers. We reserved a table for dinner, as we are visiting Berlin and read on reviews the restaurant is often busy. Excited about the good food we were thinking about reserving for lunch the next day BUT we had an absolutely bad experience with the service: when asked for the bill the waiter typed the final cost on the pos and asked for payment without letting us check the list of dishes we ordered and relating cost. We paid, then realized the total amount was higher than we were expecting. When asked for explanation the waiter was bubbling excuses for charging us +10% (his tip) which is not mandatory, not mentioned anywhere on the menu/website/nor on the confirmation email of our reservation. This is absolutely unfair and unacceptable. By the way they served the Wiener schnitzel with additional cranberry sauce nobody asked for!

We wanted to eat German cuisine and it tasted delicious. We came at 14.00 on Sunday, and hostess usked us to wait 20 minutes until the table becomes free. But he lies, we waited only 5 minutes)) Large and delicious portions, friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices—that's all you need to know about this restaurant. We'll definitely be back when we're in Berlin.

We had a good lunch here. Nice place, nice view and good food well prepared. However the service is too slow, overall we spent 1,5hr to rat one dish only.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Our waiter was very friendly and elevated the entire dining experience to the next level. The food was flavorful and tasty. I particularly loved the Gambas al Ajillo and sole. The roasted rack of lamb was okay, but my favorite was the sole.

Best warm breakfast I have ever had in Europe. Server recommended Croque Madame .. in his words ‘he loves it so much until it comes out of his ears’ and indeed it was extremely delicious!

Group of 15 boys went here every morning for beers and breakfast on our 5 day stag doo. The staff were very friendly and good humoured. The breakfasts were lovely and the beer even better. Would recommend to any group or even couple as they catered for everyone. Nice spot right on the river and we had beautiful sunshine every day.

We had a very pleasant dinner here. The staff welcomed us warmly and seated us by the window, which made our experience even better. The pasta was excellent, and the shrimp appetizer was fresh and flavorful. The escargot was good as well. The mixed grill for two was extremely delicious. Our server was lovely and very polite. The only issue was that the main course took longer than expected to be served. Overall, a delightful evening!

Stay away from this restaurant for its really poor service. The waiter ignored us for 20 min before ordering. At the time of ordering , I explictly emphasised I was ordering from the daily menu as it was at 15.00, which the waiter smirked at. Daily lunch is between 12.00-17.00, according to their own boards displayed on the outside of the restaurant, see photos. But we were charged evening prices. I had taken a photo from the board were the daily menu was written. The waiter shouted at me for taking these pictures as he said the same were in the menu booklet. One of the waitresses confirmed the new head waiter had made a mistake on the bill, but he was really dishonest and insisted on over charging us from the evening menu. Will not return here. Good riddance. You can't charge people a higher price at a whim, that's fraud. Hopefully the owners will fire this unpleasant Oberkellner, as he is up to shady stuff.

This was a great dining experience for us, we had the trout appetizer which had a complex and unique flavor profile that was smoky, rich and sour at the same time. Oysters were great, and the iberico pork was cooked perfectly. The eagle fish had great flavor as well. The service and the ambiance there is very good, and the portions are generous for this level of restaurant.

Honestly the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten but I guess I just don’t like oysters. The place was very clean and the staff friendly and I’m pretty sure this is what oysters are supposed to taste like. Still, remembering my meal I just wanna gag, it was very rough to get through I’m sure my soul left my body at some point. I recommend trying just one oyster to first-timers. Champagne was delicious though and the service excellent. Minus one star though because the atmosphere was loaded with stress and agitation

I rate this better than Selfridges or Harrods in London - great atmosphere adjacent to the most amazing food hall in Europe. The oysters were superb. We tried french and local German oysters. The champayne was also great. Great pit stop!

Stopped by during some shopping for a mid day snack. I ordered a variety of Oysters and seem to only remember the one I loved, the Gillardeau-Oyster. It was light with a hint of sweetness that I always look for. We were a party of 4, arrived at 14:00 and waited approximately 30 minutes for a table. The service seemed a bit unfriendly and as if we were a burden. Numerous times we could not find our server and would ask the others close by for bread, Tabasco, etc. that should have been offered by our waiter. Not sure if this is common or normal. 3 stars for the chaotic atmosphere and lack of top service you would expect at KaDeWe, the oyster alone is responsible for these stars. Anyways, I may return for that one oyster in particular, but I hope service is more friendly.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, with pleasant service and some very good food at reasonable prices. I had a delicious fine de Claire oyster with a glass of the very good Cremant de Loire and followed by the equally delicious and beautifully presented bouillabaisse together with a glass of Côtes du Rhône Blanc. The excellent meal finished with an unusual raspberry tart with balsamic vinegar, olive oil and basil and a glass of Jurancon dessert wine. Recommended!

The “Geschmorte Rinderrippe” was so tender and flavorful that it melted in my mouth. The service, food, and atmosphere were all wonderful — elegant yet comfortable. A truly memorable dining experience.

For a well-priced lunch at 37 euros, Brasserie Colette by Tim Raue offers a solid selection of small plates, making it easy to sample a range of flavors. The dishes are tasty, and while they aren’t exceptionally intricate, they do give a sense of Tim Raue’s approach to food in a more casual setting. The wines pair well, the location is convenient, and it’s a good value if you’re looking to explore a bit of Raue’s style without the Michelin price tag. Overall, a pleasant experience without the fanfare.

A fabulous experience. I booked a table on their website at short notice and there were no problems. I went there for lunch and they were very friendly. In addition to the usual a la carte and set menus they offer a special tasting menu for lunch at a reduced price. I ordered the vegan menu which was just amazing. The decor is nice, it's spacious and comfortable. The waiters treated me very kindly and I received very good service. I would gladly repeat. It's on a quiet street in a busy shopping area.

I definitely recommend the beef wellington menu. The dishes are well thought out. The wines picked for pairing were alright, but definitely nothing special. I think prices are crazy high for what it is.

Last night's dinner (29/08/2025) at Brasserie Colette Berlin was truly exceptional! The ambience was superb, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. The food was sublime, and I highly recommend the Beef Wellington menu - the dishes are well thought out and the flavours are extraordinary. Every mouthful was a delight. Our main server, Leo, provided charming, brilliant, attentive and knowledgeable service, making our experience even more memorable. The champagne cuvee Colette 2018 was delicious, perfectly complementing our meal. Kudos to the restaurant manager Michael and the incredible kitchen and restaurant team for creating an unforgettable dining experience. We'll definitely be back! 5/5 stars without a doubt.

We enjoyed the evening at the Brasserie. The service was superbly friendly and helpful, assisting to select very enjoyable wines. The food was great, though geared towards enjoying one of the full menus. As a an adult man, starter, main and dessert were not quite filling but very enjoyable. I had the Loup De Mer which was slightly over, but the crispy skin and interesting flavor combination saved it for me. You can also order Steak Frites with a superb Bernaise which I had not seen on the menu. Be prepared to spend quite a bit of money for high quality. Would definitely go again and try more of the menu.

The food was a bit simple. My rösti was basically a bit like a full English breakfast. big hashbrown with eggs and bacon. The bacon was really nice. Felt a bit pricy at €18.

Business dinner with 20 people in the heart of Berlin Ku’damm area, nice choice of French Bordeaux and sancerre, a light appetizer followed by either the perfectly cooked venison or risotto, immaculate finish loaded with multicolored antioxidants I gradients, dessert was tiny but yummy. Stopped for drinks and oysters for Bday lunch. Worth it, good variety and selection oysters to choose from (size/salt). Chucked to order, good wine pairings and oyster accompaniments that are more BERLIN local as opposed to North American style wine vinegar and Tabasco.

Very cute and very French restaurant and shop. We had the goat cheese toast with salad, cheese fondue and creme brûlée. Additionally two aperitifs. The goat cheese toast was good, the salad lacked a bit of dressing. The fondue was delicious and a good amount. The creme brûlée was also good but not outstanding as the cream had a bit of a "cheesecake" consistency. Overall, worth a try but for the price (>80€ for two) I don't think I'd go again for a full meal. More for a drink with a cheese platter as they looked really good.

We wanted to try fundu so we found this French restaurant in Germany. Food: delicious. We ordered fundu for 2 and it was a lot of food for us. He even gave us an extra round of green salad Services: our waiter spoke 3 languages: German, French, and English. Feel free to speak to him in any other one and he might know. Very friendly. Drinks: they have a large selection of wine. Beer is also available. Cheese: yes they are a cheese restaurant. I visited Berlin in 2018 & came here, when booking to come again in 2024 I immediately booked a table & couldn't wait to visit again. Dream for a cheese lover! I would have liked to see some options for slightly smaller plates / versions of some things, we had raclette & it was delicious (so MUCH cheese!) but I'd have loved the opportunity to have it slightly smaller & be able to add some other dishes. I’m a regular visitor at La Cantine d'Augusta and it never disappoints. I come for both dinner and brunch, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Their fondue is truly heavenly. Food Quality: was not happy with the fondue. The charcuterie and cheese boards looked very appealing, but the cheese fondue is not a strength here. Cheese felt like it was watered down too much, and we were given stale bread for it. When we asked, they said that the hard bread was for fondue. Never have i ever had hard bread served with fondue before. Portions: it was a decent amount of cheese. Drinks: options of wines to pair with the cheeses and regular softdrinks. Price: $$-$$$ a bit pricy for what i felt was not a real cheese fondue. Have had much better. Service: staff was friendly. Always ready to assist. Except when requesting fresh bread. It was given, but with an attitude. Atmosphere: cozy cute place. Highlights: im sure the other non fondue plates are very good. They looked amazing. Things to improve: bread and fondue need work. The staff was very friendly, and went an extra mile to accommodate our preferences and dietary needs. The wine was, as expected, splendid to say the least. They also offer you a large selection based on whatever your palette is like. We found this place randomly and didn’t therefore had any previous reservations made, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Slightly pricey, but not anything crazy. Just a note to keep in mind. We ended up super full from the charcuterie that we ordered basically just to “snack on”. Overall, recommended.

The restaurant is cozy, offering a large selection of wines. The menu is brought on a chalkboard (expect different dishes when going there). We had the seared venison saddle, and have to say probably the best venison I've had in Berlin, the meat was succulent and flavorful. Highly recommend it if it's available. Our waiter was attentive and kind.

However, the downside was the tightly packed tables, diminishing privacy and allowing me to unintentionally eavesdrop on neighboring conversations.

This family-run bistro is arguably the best authentically French restaurant in Berlin possibly leaving aside Michelin-starred fine-dining establishments. Guests will be challenged to find any fault with the carefully crafted dishes and creative and copious wine list. Even with my extensive experience in similar establishments in Paris, Lamazère Brasserie ranks way up there.

Just got back from an amazing dinner. I think Lamazere could be the most outstanding French bistro experience in Berlin. Friendly, relaxed, easy - with a very firm hand in the kitchen.

Absolutely delicious! A culinary experience not to be missed. Highly recommend. Some of the best food we have had in Germany. We got the pumpkinseed hummus, the wild prawn, the entrecôte and the rice pudding to share. So much food! With a bottle of wine our bill ended up $150 euros which overall was great value for money. Sadly we did misunderstand the price of the entrecôte so had a bit of bill shock (I feel like the wording could probably be better) however we can't complain because honestly great value and such fantastic taste. All the wait staff were very friendly and nice. Would definitely come back. The little extras like the shaved meat and fresh bread and mandolins were absolutely amazing too! Accept cash and card and allowed us to split the bill.

Surprised by the quality and taste! The location and looks of small family restaurant, limited menu and a bit higher price - I was not expecting much. But whatever we tasted was perfect! I had not noticed at first the sticker saying that this place had Michelin start back in 2019... Update: visited several times already and every time is perfect. Unbeatable price for the 3 course menu and option to have a main dish for two makes it a great choice for the couples.

Absolutely wonderful experience yesterday at Bandol sur mer. The food was incredible, of course, and the service was both friendly and timely, provided in both English and German at our request. I have four food allergies that make it difficult to go out to eat, and the kitchen accommodated me beautifully; at no point did I feel like I was missing out on anything, because my dishes were just as visually appealing and delicious as my partner's. We sat outside so as to enjoy the Berlin atmosphere and enjoyed every minute.

We had a great experience at the restaurant. The place is small. The staff is polite and helpful. And the food was excellent. There were no dish we could have said "so so". We enjoyed all the dishes, and we didn't feel like we had eaten too much despite the 6-course menu. We are already planning our next visit.

At the start of the evening if there is space they accept walk-in diners who can order a la carte from the menu. Dishes were all delicious and creative and we enjoyed wine and bread sitting outside on a beautiful evening. My best friend was visiting and this was a lovely way to celebrate their time here.

As a person who occasionally like to indulge in fine dining & Michelin rated restaurants, I was somewhat disappointed from the experience here. Unlike the fancy atmosphere of most its counterparts, the setting in this restaurant is deliberately laid back. Cozy small restaurant space, 6-7 tables with no dividers. Open kitchen, no table cloths. The tasting menu is 7 courses (not including side courses) and takes 3 hours. This is way too long and weary, and a perfect dinner should not last over 2 hours in my opinion. The portions are not big, but with so many courses and flavors, by the time we reached the anticipated Wagyu dish (#6), I was already very close to my capacity, and the dish itself was disappointing. Slow cooked(?) Wagyu short ribs, that although very soft, also had a fibery texture that I didn't like. Overall I did enjoy most of the dishes, which can be characterized by strong umami flavors. Most courses were accompanied with an equally strong and very nice sauce. The desert was also disappointing and stuck to my teeth, although the pre-desert dish was fantastic. The service was very good, but not impeccable: we did have to wait though 1 or 2 courses until the bread crumbs from the bread dish were finally cleared from our table. Price is 169 euro not including wine. Wine pairing is additional 102 euros, which unfortunately dissuaded us from opting it. We ended up ordering a bottle of really exquisite white wine (105 euro) and would have ordered more were it not for the price. (P.S. given the not so cheap pricing for the meal, charging additional 9 euros per person for water seems somewhat petty.)

All the dishes have a character of Berlin. Experimental and international mood on all the dishes but not harming the each ingredient’s own flavour. Wine paring was okay. My husband really liked the mood and music of the evening. This is the most accessible and nice fine dining in Berlin. I liked it.

We visited Funky Fisch yesterday evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The service was efficient and genuinely welcoming — despite arriving nearly 20 minutes late, we were greeted with warmth and made to feel at ease right away. The menu is concise, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of dishes that makes choosing both straightforward and satisfying. The wine list is extensive, with an impressive array of non-alcoholic options as well. The food itself was outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. It’s the kind of place where, as you settle the bill, you’re already imagining your next visit and wondering about the dishes you didn’t try this time. Highly recommended!

Don’t get distracted by the name :) It’s a very cool, casual, but also a touch of a fancy place! The display of fish looks really nice, and fresh! The price setting feels a little bit higher than excpected, but overall I would recommend this place and be a regular here.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. We picked a variety of fish from the seafood bar and each were cooked to perfection. The flavors of the fish were superb and the sauces on the side were excellent. We also had a crudo, oysters, and a few side dishes. Can’t wait to come again!

It was an amazing experience! The service in this restaurant is the best from what I saw in Germany so far. They proposed me to have an extra meal for free because I didn’t enjoy a soup (not because it was bad, but because it wasn’t for my taste). I said that I’ll take 2 oysters instead, and the waiter said he will bring 3 :) when he came back, he brought 4 oysters for me for free… I was amazed. Also the waiters answered all our questions, were very nice and caring. It was such an experience. 💛

This is our first time while visiting Berlin. The restaurant was filled with a local Berlin crowd. We were seated right away but at the low counter looking out the window. Due to the fact that my partner has a knee issue, it would have been extremely uncomfortable for him so we got moved to the bar instead. Thank goodness because we were taken care of by the bartender name Sunny. He was very personable and engaging suggesting the mushroom sides and that I probably won’t need to order the large bowl of the bouillabaisse - so true. We ordered the sea bream ceviche which was delicious! My partner had the tuna risotto and me the bouillabaisse. The risotto was cooked with a green vegetable which surprised my partner a bit being not a green vegetable person. My bouillabaisse was very good with shrimps and fish that were cooked just right. The rouille was delicious as well. However, it was more like a fish soup than a bouillabaisse. We saw the table behind us have a whole fish filléd which was something that we didn’t see at all on the menu. Apparently, you can order whole grilled fish. I guessed you needed to be local to know this. We were disappointed that no one told us because that was what we would had. I did find the deco and ambiance a bit stark but overall, it was a very good experience.

Like the name you get all sorts of funky fish here - from tuna, hamachi, octopus, scallops and oysters. Everything cooked to perfection - grilled and served with just a little salt and tangy, funky sauces. If you fancy anything not on the menu, just ask. We wanted one raw oyster and one tempura oyster each - just fantastic!

The food was absolutely delicious. There was one English speaking waiter who made great recommendations. The food is eclectic but everything makes sense together. We ordered a little too much but we were stuffed and happy. The coffee and dessert were so delicious! I can highly recommend this restaurant and everything we ordered (see pic captions) was amazing! This places is great for special celebrations as it is a little more pricey than what is normal in Berlin. We went to celebrate our friend’s birthday.

We had the galettes. It was very tasty! Waiting time can be long on a Saturday night. The seating is limited. But very good prices. Would recommend.

We went there for lunch . The galettes are heavy even though they might look like a quick light meal. I ordered one which had a lot of bell pepper and tomato which I think made the galette very soggy. My partner s was with schinken, egg elemental cheese and mushrooms and was crispy as expected. One thing to note is , it is cash only .

Amazing crepes! Both the regular and the buckwheat crepes were perfection. The best buckwheat crepes we had before today were at Breizh Café in Paris. These were better! My wife is a chef, and she said Suzette Crêperie has the best crepes she ever tasted. The menu also provides a huge variety of options. It's a small place without many tables, but the owners are wonderful and provide excellent service. We also loved the menus with the Tintin covers.

Wanted to have a French breakfast/lunch - and seen this shop a couple of times, when just walking by. Walked there on a decent sunshine day, with the girlfriend - and chose to sit outside, the "chef" was attentive and came almost immediately - so we had to ask for a little more time. When we ordered the Galettes, they came fast after, and tasted delicious as expected. Dessert was a Crépe, and it delivered to the fullest.

great low-key spot for comforting French crepes and galettes. Galettes are very filling! I couldn’t leave without eating a crepe, so we had to share it in between two, and - my god - L’Oranger is the best! Every time I come here I want to try a different crepe, but L’Oranger power is so strong, I just can’t pick anything else 🤭 The place also offers selection of cider, which is not common here, so it’s definitely a plus.

Best fries I’ve had in Berlin and the entrecôte is perfectly cooked. Incredible.

We were passing along Torstaße looking for some food and we thought we would try this place next to our absolute favourite restaurant in Berlin, Bandol sur Mer. 3 Minutes sur Merr is most definitely one of the most authentic French restaurants that I have seen in Berlin. Extremely French inspired menu with the classics all over such as Steak Tartare, Moules, Steak and fries, Creme Brulee to name a few. My Moules dish was perfectly cooked with a really generous portion of fries. My wife had the Roastbeef and loved it. Service and ambience matched the food......very good indeed. Overall price for 2 was not too bad considering the area. Highly recommended and worth a visit. Love it and we shall be back!

Perfect French cuisine just like in Paris. We had huge Oysters, Beaf Steak Tartar and the Filet Steak Frites, all of them were near perfection. I also like the 80s retro lamps and the cosy atmosphere

Really disappointed, no uptaded information about the menu until we ordered. Only 2 main meal available out of 4. They wrote on the menu you can have fish for 9 EUR/100g but then they told you that you need to order minimum 700g so 63 EUR. What a joke, who is eating 700g of fish ? I don’t recommand this place

Cozy, lovely French ambience. Food was terrific! I enjoyed lamb shank with rich sauce. My dinner partners had beef filet, cooked to perfect temp, also with delicious sauce. Creme brulee was the best we've had....better than in Paris. Good wine pairing. Only complaint was paper napkins! For the price paid, I expected cloth napkins. Maybe COVID virus the reason?

Had the one with blue cheese sauce, walnuts and ham on my last visit and it was superb! Highly recommended, and you'll have a nice experience here. Interesting selection of ciders too!

It’s 100% authentic pretty sure the owner is from Bretagne. Also, they serve the traditional andouille sausage from that area. Whether it’s sweet or savory there is a galette/crepe for everyone. Service is nice and welcoming but on a busy weekend night expect the service to be slow. As there aren’t that much staff. Recommend if you want traditional and proper galette.

What a wonderful place. This is a true creperie. The true quality and ingredients are obvious. The decor is very authentic. I felt like I was in a a French restaurant. The staff speak French and English. We arrived on a Monday night without a reservation, but they accommodated us. I had the gallette, with walnuts and dried ham. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it. I will return to this place next time I'm in Berlin.

Awesome experience. Staff is very kind, really handy. They care to explain you in details every dish. I can’t remember her name, but I commend the staff member who walked us through the wine pairing. A wonderful experience. Useless to say that the food was delicious; even something as simple as bread and butter was made extraordinary. I loved that we had proper, think and tasty bread to accompany our other meal. We get out of Bricole with our belly perfectly full, and just a little tipsy! Best meal we had in a long time. Foods were exceptional, and while there are already so many great reviews here, what truly surprised us was the alcohol-free pairing! We visited on a Monday night and didn’t feel like drinking alcohol, so we tried the alkoholfreie Begleitung ✨and it was absolutely wonderful, matching the food perfectly.👍 The first glass (jasmine tea + basil + forest honey) was light, slightly sweet and paired beautifully with the cucumber dish, the jasmine aroma made it complete. The biggest surprise for us was the herbal tea with smoked garlic and cherry! who would have thought it would go so well with duck liver? 🫶🏻💕 Other highlights were Genmaicha tea with orgeat and pepper as well as Hojicha with mushroom essence, both outstanding. We’ve never experienced non-alcoholic pairings on this level before, highly recommended if you want to discover a whole new way of enjoying food!

Excellent food and service. The rabbit rillette needed to come up in temperature a bit, as it was still quite cold and hard. Still five stars though. A really lovely dining experience (especially because even though I was on my own they treated me like everyone else).

My boyfriend and me had a wonderful, romantic and unique experience in le petit royal. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We had moules frites and a Zander biscuit for dinner and were both very impressed by the delicious and good looking food. Also the dessert (chocolate cake and crême brulée) was amazing. All in all a perfect place for a romantic dinner with a special person.

Missed taking a few more pictures of this place but the food was fantastic all round. I really enjoyed the beef and chicken options they had here along with the mash potato. I wasn't sure what to expect when initially arriving but pleased to say it was worth the visit!

Difficult to get a table, but once you are there you enjoy the perfect service and the quality dishes. French cuisine but from a very small menu card and a large price tag. That is why I do not give the fifth star. Otherwise a good meal and an enjoyable evening.

Dinner was OK, but portions were really small. You are able to select the number of courses without limitations on which ones you can choose (good). Lots of stories about the ingredients (where they come from ,etc) and service was good, but in the end, seasoning wasn't so great , lack of flavours and exciting ingredients. Also the wine selection could be much better, nothing memorable, and no champagne by the glass available. Prices were close to a star restaurant, but quality far from it, even though I can see they try hard (appreicated) but still points to improve.

On the corner of a side street in Charlottenburg, Le Petit Royal brings elegance and a price tag that is justified. The staff and service not formal yet classy. The crowd is elegant and on a Saturday night mainly over 50. The wine and food menus are well sorted. We tried three different white wines based on staff recommendations and they were excellent. We had the beef tartar, octopus salad, Burata and bulenta and they were all tasty. My Fish was perfect and the deserts were Devine. The interiors are elegant, the toilets are well designed. We had dinner at Le Petit Royal when Grace Donely was a guest chef. My favourite were the mussels with a spicy sauce. The location of the restaurant is in very nice part of the city. They have astonishing wine cellar.

Been wanting to try their special Mittagsmenu and it was very good value. On a beautiful day they’ve got outside seating and it’s a quaint lunch spot. The mittagsmenu is very simplistic featuring limited number of items. Standout item is the duck and that was really well done rich in a sauce but creamy. Proper duck Coq au vin. I would not recommend the fish and chips being it just wasn’t that special nor tasty. All in all great lunch spot and great Mittagsmenu deal. Without ordering drinks and just 2 mains you can easily spend under 40 euros.

I think this restaurant may be a victim of its own reputation. Nothing about it struck me as Michelin quality, least of all the food. Don’t get me wrong, it was fine. Simple dishes with no frills and unfortunately no interest either. The free water was a appreciated, but where I’m from that is the rule, not the exception.

Vegetable floret, tartare, entrecote with cauliflower and choron sauce, the Best carbonara I've ever had( we immediately reordered it lol), and rhum plum with honey. So worth it, we sat outside and saw some nice outfits because it was fashion week. Much deserved Michelin Star 👏🏼

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I enjoyed their champagne along with special asparagus dishes. Oysters are fresh and nicely presented. The only downside side was tiramisu, which has nothing to do with the original tiramisu. It just confuses the taste and imagination of what was about to come

My Husband and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary here and it was truly an incredible experience. For someone that has worked in Michelin Star Kitchens this is a prime example how you receive and maintain that acclaim. The food was seasonal and complexed. Our service was taken care o the highest degree with Aloel & Ben leading. They were attentive and patient especially with English speaking guest. Their steps of service were also to be praised. Not to mention they were STUNNING! I cannot wait to return for another beautiful experience!

What an amazing place. One of the few Michelin star restaurant where you can eat a la carte. The Bouillabaisse was outstanding. All courses were an experience for the palate. The entire team is excellent and you can see their passion for food and wine. I had a really memorable evening. Thanks!

Food on the simple side for Michelin dinner dining, but this might be different if one opts out of the classics set menu and goes à la carte. Enjoyed the wine pairing especially. The service was mostly attentive but not overbearing. Decor and ambience were equally not over the top serious or tawdry, playful like the namesake film but in nuanced ways only.

Beautiful day out in Berlin and this cafe has plenty of outside seating in the sun. Quaint tables with white table cloths. My group and I ordered the same Caesar salad with different protein and it was very good, great sauce and overall creamy and flavorful. As far as service goes they were okay throughout even though we had to get our own pepper and salt so as far as attentiveness goes it wasn’t that great. When we got the check for getrennt/split I accidentally pressed 2 cents instead of 2 euro for tip. The waitress made a smug comment about it as I told her it was an accident due to my long finger nail. I left her actual change instead. Tip is always Optional and the server shouldn’t shame or comment on the customer for an accident. Menu items are slightly on the pricier side so would not return if the service doesn’t Reflect the price tag or the overall ambience.

The bouillabaisse was of an extremely high quality. The staff are very attentive and the wine selection is exquisite. However, there was some variation in the quality of our whiskey and gin sours. The second serving of bouillabaisse was warm, not hot. I will certainly return to Berlin in the future and I am confident that the experience will be perfect.

The food is good. We have an excellent lobster soup. But i think it’s globally a bit overpriced. Wine list is good. Especially the Chateau Tracy but they need more craft cognac and spirits.

The pasta was just brilliant. The beef slices were tender and well seasoned. Somewhat pricey but is within what you would expect from a proper French restaurant. I ordered from the lunch menu.

One of my favourite restaurants in Berlin… The French cuisine is really good. I would recommend the Caesar salad or salmon with different sides, such as the mixed vegetables, broccoli or potato fries… The atmosphere is very nice and cozy.

Great place to sit outside and watch people. Also nice for a just beer in the afternoon or dessert. Creme brulee and patisserie were delicious.

I came here on for my mother’s birthday and left highly disappointed. While the restaurant looks nice, the service was simply disrespectful. I wasn’t happy with the dish, but when I mentioned this, the waiter/chef brushed me off and said, “That’s what our customers who go to St. Tropez and Mykonos like, better you don’t order it next time.” I felt completely belittled, as if it was my fault for not liking the dish. On top of that, nothing was done for my mother’s birthday. Not even a small acknowledgment. For a place that presents itself as fine dining, this lack of respect and hospitality is unacceptable. The food may be good, but the attitude ruins the whole experience.

Great Algerian French influenced food. I had the chicken tagine with couscous and the chocolate cake. It was all home cooked style food and the restaurant has a boutique French vibe. A very warm service by the owners and they speak French. A must recommend if you enjoy tagine and couscous.

Stunning restaurant! We were treated with immense kindness and delicious food! It was like walking into a home. My boyfriend and I had tagines with a lemon tart at the end. The service was fluent in English and German (I think I also heard French in the background too). Cannot recommend highly enough

Amazingly good and great service. If they continue to have their homemade lemonade, get it. It’s not sweet and really refreshing. For lunch I had the couscous with chicken and it tasted heavenly. Fresh, real ingredients cooked with love. Highly affordable too. I’d give it a sixth star if I could.

The best place for oysters and wine in berlin. The restaurant has a very nice vibe, the staff is incredible and friendly (which is a miracle to happen in berlin). They have art pieces that you can buy, the decoration of the place is very nice and chic. I totally recommend for a wine dinner or aperitivo with friends. I am going to go back for sure.

This was our first time visiting Berlin, and at the recommendation of a friend, we came here for dinner on our last night. Berlin is full of so many different options, but this was seriously the best meal we had during our trip, and probably one of the best meals we’ve had in general for a long time. Everything from the service, to the food, was top notch, and something you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Our server brought out a basket of fresh bread and cured olives. The olives were so so good and a perfect way to start while we waited for the rest of our meal. For appetizers, we started with the mixed cheese platter and when asked which cheeses we would like, we told them to surprise us. I wish I could remember which ones we had, but all 3 were delicious and left us wanting more. The greens on the plate with the cheese were lightly seasoned and equally delicious, as was the pomegranate preserve - the flavors combined with the cheese, absolutely perfect. We also ordered a salad with burrata - not only was the presentation lovely, but the flavors of everything were fresh and delicious. For our main courses, my husband ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the cod with a caper sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly, delicious, and portion size was perfect- left me feeling satisfied, yet so good wishing I could have more. My husband’s fish and chips were also cooked perfectly - light and crispy, not greasy at all - even our child who is normally a picky eater loved it as well as everything else. I would say that maybe this is a place more suited for adults or older children. But I’m basing this on one visit and not truly knowing what is acceptable for Berlin when it comes to restaurant culture. That being said, our server was very accommodating to our child, and I look forward to our next trip to Berlin so we can go back - perhaps for an adults only date night next time ;)

Had an amazing dinner at Volk! The food was outstanding – we tried the sole meunière, buttery and perfectly cooked, and the duck confit with potatoes, tender and full of flavor. The squid rings were another highlight – very tasty and crispy. For dessert, we had the pistachio crème brûlée and baba au rhum – both were absolutely delicious and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The wines here are also excellent, pairing beautifully with the dishes. Service was attentive and the atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

The food was definitely very good, but also on the pricey side. Additionally to that, there was only one waiter, which made everything take an extended amount of time. The music was a bit overwhelming at times.

We had a wonderful experience here last weekend! The menu is carefully thought out and seems to offer all the best things I enjoy about French cuisine with some fun twists. The salt cured olives (my favorite style) and fresh warm bread were great to open up the palette and a perfect set up for the smokey and nutty cheese plate. All the cheeses were amazing! The salmon tartar felt so fresh, light and pleasing. My main course was the Fish and Chips, the fry was done so perfectly, crispy and crunchy and not too oily, packed with flavor. My only complaint would be I would have liked more fries (chips) only because they were so good! Prices were very reasonable for sure a high quality meal. Great service as well, very attentive. I would give 6 stars if I could. I will be going back for sure next time I'm in Berlin.

What a great find! Nestled on a happening street overlooking the park! The grand seafood plate was phenomenal - with two starters, fed three of us! Wine selection was good. Service five stars, outdoor seating and good value.

Seafood with main character energy, the French wine was incredible and authentic, and cocktails slaps. Julianne our server was full send. Absolute icon.

Soup was good. Pasta pollo had too strong taste, don’t know what you add in sauce, but it wasnt so good. Also I asked for herbal tea, but got the black one. The place itself was nice, so 4 stars.

Super nice experience. I am Italian and i can say that it was very good. Service was kind and efficient and there were italian songs on the background that we happly sang and listen to it. The pizza was very nice, light and cruncy. We had a nice experience and the prices were fair and perfect for what we had. Good job!!

Great service. Actually we have ordered 2L wine just because it was so good. Really good quality food: fresh and tasty. I give 5 stars only if I get food that I can not make myself. Red wine was fantastic. This restaurant is located not far from Charlottesborg which is great because after long walk in the castle and garden the stake taste really good.

Croissants are decent but nothing special & you can find better elsewhere. If you ask them to heat up your spinach quiche, it will come semi warm at the edges but still cold in the center. Which was not pleasant. I can imagine the quiche to be good if it was really heated up but the flavor itself was a bit plain and fell flat. Latte was decent as well. Service was good, bathroom was clean, lots of tables, and a good place to catch up with a friend or two.

Love going here for a croissant and café! Lovely people and nice pastries. Would also highly recommend to sit outside with the nice weather but please don’t steel my spot :) Unfortunately the soya cappuccino was not the best, so order a normal one

The apple-like tart is perfect however the lemon tart was too eggy and the chocolate tart was too bitter to eat. Second time: the éclair was pretty good, could be my second favorite. The cream is velvety smooth and tastes like rich vanilla beans. However the raspberry cake was too sweet and the chocolaty nutty bottom doesn't go well with the rest of the layers. Third time: la pomme verte is quite good, it has a lemony taste that goes well with the apple vanilla mousse inside 🍏. Les 3 chocolats was good as well, balanced nutty chocolaty caramel like taste between the layers. Fourth time: Halloween special cake. I enjoyed it ♥️ it was quite sweet but the crunchy crispy biscuit in the bottom was heavenly delicious.

The food is good. The crew sometimes can be a bit dry. I had mostly good experiences here. I recommend their croissants and or pastries made with fluffy pastry. The other options are also very good, except the bread - it's good but not great. The coffee is just Ok, but good enough to enjoy with the pastries.

I loved the quiche, also selection of pastries in general is great. Didn’t like much the eclair because it has heavy whipped cream on it, I like more eclairs with light cream with pudding texture, just my preference. Overall amazing place and good coffee.

It is located in the market Halle, name of the restaurant is not clear displayed, so hard to find it and it is super hot in summer!

I've been looking for a place with a good seafood in Berlin for a while. This one is definitely good. Fresh fish which was not frozen, friendly personal and lovely atmosphere. I liked the food it was nice. The sharing platter is enough for 2. There is a lot of difference seafood on it. We also took a starter which were some kind of cheese croquettes that I would also recommend. My only complaint would be that either the was 10€ or the stole from us. Either way it is weird for a 0,75L bottle of water. My bad for not taking the receipt. I would encourage you to do so.

big kudos to the wait staff and the cook line. great service from aslam, who not only served fresh oysters well before the dinner menu was available, but recommended a wonderful wine to pair with them. the VIP fish and chips was worth every penny. the timing of the entrees and drinks were impeccable, and everything was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. tldr: i made it a point to stop here all the way from america, and was not disappointed.

Original review: Amazing little place with a clean and excellent menu. We had lunch at the Fischladen today; the Wiener Schnitzel and the VIP style fish. The Schnitzel and accompanying warm potato salad were really good, yet the fried fish absolutely stole the show! I was making yummy noises all through eating it. Our waiter Aslam was an incredible delight, attentive and warm without being overbearing, making our stay a pleasure.

I thought this little shop within the Markethalle Arminius was fantastic! The grilled scallop spoons with seaweed salad were very tasty. The raw oysters were fresh and delicious, but could have stood better with a French mignonette or a bit of pepper sauce. The fish soup was rich and fragrant. My server Astam was a true gentleman. I watched the cook Sadaq execute all the grilled fish preparations with skill and accuracy. Nice people! Fun atmosphere!

What a great addition to the restaurants in this Kietz … a relaxed, almost french inspired atmosphere. Small tables on the pavement - watching people and enjoying great wine and excellent dishes. Most guest agree that the meat dishes are excellent - a point to the best results prepared. The service is fun and professional passionate. If you go for three courses and some good wine and two cocktails as a starter expect 100€ per person for a French night out The menu is fresh bistro style. We went for the shrimp cocktail as flashback of the 70s, and a classic terrine - to be followed by an excellent filet mignon with cafe de Paris sauce and the Entrecôte a la cafe de Paris … reaching heaven easily The baba de rhum were you can chose yourself how much rum you pour …see Video … and the mouse au chocolate where Great too

Little update from our last visit yesterday : This is THE place to BE in the West. The owner is so very welcoming and charming. The food was really delicious , the ratatouille is to be tried ! The crowd was great . It felt so good to come back again. Well , what a surprise !!!!The deco is nice and give the feeling that you are in a Parisian bistrot .The athmosphere is great( outside like inside ) , drinks as well. The food was unexpectedly great as well . We choose the almond salad to start together with the lobster , very good! Then the Zurich schnitzels and the cafe de paris beef , delicious. The portions are good . The service was a little slow but nothing exagerated , a bit French style . The desserts looked great but we will for sure try it next time . It’s a little gem in berlin that a Parisian like me is veryyy pleased to discover in berlin .

Disappointed 😞 We have been to Tor Bar a few times. This place is a sad white facsimile. Food is under seasoned, service is poor unless you are a "regular" or someone who looks the part. The presentation of the food was like a kindergartener.

This is a small French restaurant in the middle of Berlin, I recommend a reservation. I went here on a Wednesday because I heard they serve Bouillabaisse on Wednesdays and after visiting I can say that I was not disappointed. This was the very best Bouillabaisse I’ve ever had. The portions were very generous, the fish was delicious, the wine was paired well and the staff is very professional and seem to know what they are doing. I should mention the wine selection here is top tier and don’t miss the desserts. I recommend this place and will visit again.

What a gem ! Newly opened in berlin, the restaurant is sober and chic. The atmosphere is very nice. The service excellent. The food is exquisite, the Chef knows clearly his job, the tenderness and sophistication of the meals are perfect. About the wines : the selection is as nice as the menu , you can have glasses of very good wines for 6 euros…the prices in general are more than fair for such a gastronomical experience and service. We will for sure come back. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely experience here, especially thanks to the fantastic service—super friendly and truly went above and beyond to make the evening enjoyable. The food was a mix for me. The black pudding with buttery mashed potatoes was absolutely delicious, and the crème anglaise was a perfect way to end the meal. However, the amberjack in citrus marinade was a bit too acidic for my taste, though that’s just personal preference. Overall, a great spot with excellent hospitality and some really well-executed dishes!

Friendly French waiters, good wine list, food is good for Berlin standards. Taste and quality was good. Two points though: No fresh bearnaise sauce with the steak, but a cold mayonnaise styled small little pot. French fries with the steak where a bit sad. not what i expect from a bib gourmand French brasserie. Above all we had to wait over an hour for a steak and 2 tunas. Chef nowhere to be seen… I don’t think the owners where there

Went there for dinner and left disappointed by the price in relation to the quality of the dishes. Atmosphere was great but the service made simple mistakes like leaving some dishes sitting on the bar unattended for quite some time. Won't be back unless they readjust the price according to what they offer.
