Excellent value for money, friendly staff and great food/drinks (Negro's €9) Highly recommend the croquettes (all of them), sardines, calamari and crispy octopus all cooked beautifully and al dented not over done, excellent. Only a couple of negatives, a mix up in orders and some errant cigarette smoke flowing in from outside tables through open door but overall very good.

Quality time guaranteed! Friendly staff and very nice service. Outside true Kreuzberg vibes near the park. Inside nice ambiance. The goat cheese with honey was outstanding. Big wine selection. Would we come again? Yes!

I came here because a friend has been a regular for over 10 years. The service was a bit slow at first, but the food and wine made up for it—I especially loved the juicy olives. They also have live music, and the overall vibe is really cute.

Cozy and warm Tapas Bar in the heart of Kreuzberg. Wines and service are excellent. You can sit outside and just have a nice glass of wine with some sweet nibbles. Love how welcoming and approachable the place is, even though it looks much fancier it is quite affordable. Standouts were the goat cheese, the octopus and the Croquettes. Though I felt like some of the dishes lacked a little seasoning. But what the food lacked was made up by the warm service and atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a catch up with a big group of friends!

Both food and wine were very tasty, and the service, one of the best ones I have ever had in Berlín. Everyone working there was nice and fast! I'm spanish and I approve 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 the tortilla always with onions. More than enough vegan and vegetarian options :)

we came here for the 3rd time. the first 2 times (last summer) would have been totally be five stars, all dishes were delicious and they also served txakoli for a short period. This summer, the atmosphere and server are still nice but the food was not as we remembered last year.

A chill place with a relaxed vibe and easygoing staff that made us feel right at home. The food and drinks were great, and we had a fantastic time just enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend trying the beetroot with goat cheese—it was a standout dish! Overall, a great spot to unwind and enjoy some good company.

On Egin is gone. Rocked up on Saturday only to discover it's been replaced with an Indian restaurant. I think it's a real loss, I ate here semi regularly and always enjoyed it -no fuss, decent tapas for a decent price and fast, friendly service.

We had some jamón, croquetas and calamari. The jamón tasted like it was straight from the fridge supermarket—cold, gummy, and overly salty with no real flavor. The croquetas had a bad texture and were tasteless. The calamari, cooked with caramelized onions, was definitely not fresh—overcooked, chewy, and flavorless. The bread served it was still cold from the freezer. I ended up with food poisoning. Prices are very high considering what you get

The sangria isn't bad but isn't good either. It would be best for presentation purposes that it is served on wine glasses instead of regular glasses. The presentation of the tabla mixta is good, though the food is adapted to german tastes. I was expecting more variety in the cheeses and I didn't like the olives (because they came with slices of orange). The waiter was very friendly, kind, and attentive toward us. We enjoyed the calm atmosphere for talking and relaxing with friends. The restroom we clean and good too.

Id avoid if you like good food. From the reviews it looks like this place was good pre covid, taken over by non spanish who are using the positive Google Review to get customers. Usually I wouldnt leave a bad review and sabotage a business but for the price we paid, this was a waste of time.

Apparently, the only non-turkish restaurant in the neighborhood. Food was so good and ambience was conducive to chatting and catching up with friends that I forgot to document them. Will definitely come back. 1 point less for employees not knowing whose bust it is above the fridge.

Love the tapas there. You can generally get some specials from time to time. Strongly recommend the croquettes. They have very nice and cheap Albariño wine :) It is generally better to make a reservation as they do not have that much of a seating area.

A simple but decent Spanish restaurant. It’s a bit small but still quite cozy and the staff are all very nice and helpful. The wine they suggested was great. The tapas were ok, nothing spectacular, but quite fresh and cheap. You can have a good-sized meal for two at El Pepe for about €40-50, including wine and tips. Certainly worth another visit.

Anyone who knows anything about tapas or Spanish cuisine cannot say that these patatas bravas are good. First of all, the brava sauce and aioli usually do not come separately; it's not common. It’s no terrible but is not really the usual. I've seen it a couple of times, but it's not the norm. The potatoes themselves were good, but the pieces were huge which doesn’t make sense The worst part was the brava sauce; it's clear that it wasn't made here. It's a packaged sauce with a texture as plastic-like as its flavor. One of the worst things I've ever eaten. How can you not make your own bravas salsa??!! This is awful I ordered some boquerones en vinagre (pickled anchovies) and got two fillets on a piece of bread. The menu doesn't mention that they come on bread. I thought I was going to get a plate with some boquerones as usual… but nope The waiters were super nice and the restaurant itself is pretty but the food.. I mean if you cannot make the most basic tapa as patatas bravas good, what’s for the rest? That sauce was disgusting

Very authentic foods and experience. The tapas we delicious and the wine was superb. The only comment I have is regarding the menu, it could have more variety and include some beef or chicken dishes. But other than that would definitely recommend

very nicely furnished little restaurant with small plates of modern middle eastern foods to share among friends and family. the restaurant was deserted when we arrived around 6:30pm, but filled up quickly around an hour later. the service was still quite fast, though. a few more vegetarian options as well as a larger dessert menu would have been great, but everything we had was very tasty.

Nice restaurant with good food and chill vibes. Service is slow and we had to ask the server for glasses, spoons and everything one by one. The dishes are tapas style and can be shared with the table. Drinks were ok, bread was fresh and soft. The pomegranate salad turned out to be the best of all. Hummus was good but not the best as I have had better. The goat cheese dish was average, squash chips were cold. We were charged for tap water that was a surprise and I was asked to tip which is a new thing for me in Germany. Overall it is fine but not the best.

Even on a cold midweek night this place was packed, and without a reservation there was still room for us in the annex out the back. The food was excellent, came out fast, staff spoke very good English, and had no problems coping with our queries about gluten free food. An excellent start to our first visit to Berlin!

Amazing Turkish food at a place with warm, cozy vibes. We had the manti which is a MUST, the taramas was also amazing, as well as the köfte. All other dishes sounded (and from the adjacent tables, looked…) super delicious, I wish we could’ve tried more of them. Staff is very friendly and we got the food super quickly. We highly recommend the place also for people who never tried Turkish before - I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here. ;)

Really warm atmosphere, with friendly staff. We had our second time which didn’t disappoint us again. Hummus was definitely better compared to last time and really worth to try now( it wasn’t actually bad the last time but was a little chunky, dense and acidic, now there is a good touch to it) Really good and seasonal veggie and vegan options which is a surprise in a Turkish style restaurant. Really good home made drinks It was a good experience after all

Top-notch Turkish tapas restaurant! We sat inside, but there’s also a lovely open-air section that opens during the summer. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly. A good spot for delicious small plates and a warm dining experience.

I personally enjoyed the atmosphere and design of the restaurant. However, the tapas was too greasy for my taste which made me feel a little sick after. It wasn’t a bad experience but the food could be better for the price.

We came here because of the great reviews, but our experience was disappointing. The service from the waiter was fine, but the owner was completely drunk and reeked out of his mouth. He made us wait on menus and service for almost ten minutes while doing shots with his friends. Food like bread and olives were fine, hard to mess up. But the 'sashimi' quality tuna (18 euros) was overcooked and had nothing raw in it anymore. The pinchos were also dried out and burnt, and we hadn't eaten a bite from this. The waiter never asked once if the food was okay, but on the other hand, I understand with a boss like that. It was disappointing altogether, especially with those reviews and prices!

Volver is a place that I often go to as I enjoy the ambiance there, from how the resturant is decorated to the love that is put in making the food. Is for sure not an average place with low prices so expect to spend some money when you go there. As well as the dishes are not huge, but that is the point considering is tapas -this way you get to taste so much good food. My most favourite are: the fried baby octopus and fried sardines, together with the green peppers , the tuna stakes and many more. It takes some time for the food to arrive as the place is always packed with people, but from my experience, the food that takes more time to be prepared is food that is done from scratch and much better than many places that just heat up frozen food to serve. I am a big fan of the starters they always offer, as the aioli and olives have the same amazing taste since the first day I visited Volver, which underlines the originality of the place. The wines are of very good quality as well and go very well with each dish you will be trying. 100% recommeding!!

Almodovar made a great movie of this name, but not a disappointment as this was. The place is nice enough, and the service is friendly if not a tad slow. All would be forgiven, and a favourable movie comparison made if the food was at least ok. Apart from the decent chorizo and the braised lamb (both very good), many standards of the region were let down. The sadly under heated and probably overcrowded oil fryer turned the patatas bravas into limp, pale, oily pieces. The calamari were perhaps beyond help before they hit the fryer, but these tiny critters (love to know the country of origin) emerged almost beyond edibility, so hard were they. The tiny prawns seem immersed in an oil that doesn't appear to be olive, and while not well flavoured, are in part raw, as the oil again is too cool to move. The bread is so far from the terrific bread of the origin, it's sad. No olive oil is offered with it. The peppers are similarly fated to oil death, though more edible than the other elements. It all sounds irredeemable, but I hope this was just a slow night...though seeing the smoking owner and dog just inside the kitchen area gives me pause. So should you.

Great tapas and excellent wine. The ambiance is really nice, a romantic place with great music. We had the pan con tomate, gambas al ajillo, And chorizo rosario. All delicious. The service was good, the staff speak German, English and Spanish. The owner is particularly nice and has a beautiful Greyhound dog. Would love to come back!

The food was indeed tasty, and the atmosphere provided a cozy dining experience. However, I personally felt that the portions were a bit on the smaller side and slightly pricey for their size. Despite this, I did enjoy my dinner overall.

My Husband My friend and I have been in Spain and Portugal and we know how food taste there: let me tell you, here in the Vineria you will feel like sitting in a nice family restaurant in 🇪🇸! Had a great evening here with cozy neighborhood atmosphere and Spanish food. Cold asparagus soup was a first for me. Had warm asparagus soup a few nights earlier at Inizio (tasty), so trying cold was a little dubious but it was delicious too. All tapas were great!

Very nice place with extraordinary vegan food that you cannot find elsewhere. As a vegan I love the bar. The vibes there are amazing. The food and the drinks are very good. The portions feel like it could be bigger. Though, most of what I tried tasted very good.

One of my absolute favourite restaurants in Berlin. I love bringing different friends here, and it always feels like a new discovery since the menu keeps evolving. Every visit is a treat, and I’ll keep adding more photos over time! Some of my all-time favourites: roasted aubergine on a bed of tahini, the watermelon feta salad with pickled onions, Romana lettuce with green pesto, banderillas, croquettes (they keep surprising with new ones 😍), foie gras… and the list goes on. Thank you for consistently spectacular food!

One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. I’m not vegan, but I absolutely love the food they serve here — the flavors are spot on, creative and satisfying. The atmosphere is super queer-friendly and there’s almost always a great music vibe. The staff is lovely and welcoming. One thing that could be improved is the ventilation — we usually leave smelling like fried food. But honestly, it’s totally worth it. They’ve recently added new dishes — the vegan foie and the eggplant are to die for. Make sure to book in advance, the place is always packed!

I’m not vegan but I love every dish I tried here! The highlights for me were potatas bravas, croquette, gazpacho and of course, churros. The service was lovely but very slow so you have to be patient or go early when they just open. I think it’s definitely worth a visit!

Great place in our neighborhood, always crowded so I strongly recommend a reservation ahead. The food is amazing, people are super busy and friendly and trying to fulfill everyone's needs.

We were there a couple of times, mostly for the tapas dishes. The tapas in itself are nice and enjoyable, however the service is quite lacking… at one visit, we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive. When we asked what’s going on, the response was quite rude… the waitress who took our order said there are empanadas, but after almost half an hour later, another waitress told us they haven’t had them all evening…

I cannot say anything about the food because we did not get / have any. Despite repeatedly speaking to the waitress, we didn´t get any menu before 20 minutes later we picked it up ourselves. Still, couldn´t order for another 20 minutes ... Thus, we left after 40 minutes. Es una vergüenza este sitio. The Indian opposite and the Italian around the corner are far better options.

I had a nice experience here despite some of the negative reviews. The service was good, the food is indeed a bit pricier than average but I can't complain about the quality. Everything we ordered was great. I booked a table online and everything went well. The place is a bit small so some might find it too cosy on a busy day, but I had no problem with that.

The food was good and ambiance as well. But card payment was not accepted, we had to rush to ATM and withdraw with a commission, unpleasantly surprised as Google says the card payment is allowed.

Super tiny Spanish tapas place. Worker super nice and the food is really good. They have also a good selection of wines. I suggest the reds... You also might find food for any taste: veg, meat or fish in the typical Spanish style. Remember to reserve since you might not find a spot specially during the weekend

Very nice, affordable tapas (30 euro for two people including a bottle of wine). I only had vegetarian and fish, so can't speak for the meat plates. However, the fish was not for the picky types, so if you don't like sardines, squid etc, go for something else. If you do however, these are awesome!

Definitely worth visiting and exactly as promised by all the great reviews I had read. Amazingly delicious Tapas and wine (Rosé for me this time) - hats off to the chef! The music was surely a plus with Billie Holiday and later Johnny Cash playing!

The food is good, but not exceptional. The prices are really good. Dinner for two under 40€ is possible. The interior is quite cozy as well. Now for the terrible: this place smells. You come home, stinking of oil and garlic. It seems their kitchen could really use an extractor fan. I wasn't able to get the stink out of my jacket for a week. Wear a hazmat suit.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and despite it being a very busy night they moved tables and chairs to make room for us outside, that was really nice of them. Wine and tapas were good, and for a very reasonable price. Recommended!

Overtime I have grown to be disappointed with this place. They used to serve decent size average food tapas for the price. Overtime amounts have become smaller and it doesn't feel like the deal it used to be. If you are lucky and are around when paella is available, you should definitely try it.

They didn't have about a third of the items on the menu in stock, the mushrooms seemed to be in a cumin rather than garlic sauce as advertised, the beef was supposed to have manchego cheese but didn't, and we had to ask for plates. Service was friendly but understaffed. Average food.

I love tapas and this restaurant is definitely a very good one for it! Very nice and friendly service with a great environment and a huge variety of good tapas options on the menu. The size of the portions could be a bit bigger tho, to serve more people on the table in a better way. As usual and not necessarily a complaint about this restaurant, the bill may come a bit expensive as it is normal to usually order multiple tapas to share with the people on the table… If you get the restaurant full, it might be a bit uncomfortable as the space between the tables is quite narrow. But it is overall a very nice experience and i will definitely come back next time in Berlin!

This place is popular. Make sure you make reservations ahead. We got lucky and went in early to get a table. Its super busy even on weekdays. The tapas are delicious. They remind me the days in Spain.

Very disappointing, expected much better given the ratings on Google. The pork cheek was dry, the roasted cauliflower did not have the char and tasted more like it was blanched, and the cheese omelette plain. Service staff were cheerful and attentive, atmosphere was lively however. Food was the main letdown here by far.

A great tapas spot! Definitely very crowded in there, they stack you on top of other guests! Many different tapas options; we got the cold starter plate (basically a charcuterie board). The goat cheese and raspberry jam was awesome. The server even helped to do some wine pairings with the food! Not a lot of meat heavy options.

A bit touristy but great food and service. The manchego cheese is amazing but the cold cuts felt a bit cheap. Dates in bacon are highly recommended, salted potatoes also. The tables are tiny so it would be a great place for wine and snacks, not much more.

The food was alright, nothing special. The service was average, the ambiance/interior was very mid, and the prices were high. Charging €6 for a tiny portion seems unjustified, even tho I get that the rent for this location must be quite expensive. All in all, very average. A few years back this was such a nice & popular spot and we haven’t been here in quite some time. This time though it seemed to have given up on any ambitions. Service was borderline arrogant even with Berlin standards and food underwhelming. After five days of eating in Berlin this was voted the worst experience by the whole group. You can certainly eat of much higher quality for this price in the area and Berlin in general with ease.

Great place for quick Asian Tapas , and sharing different dishes with your colleagues and friends. I really like that the food is designed to share. It's pretty tasty and overall reasonably priced. There are good vegetarian and vegan options along with a lot of options for meat and seafood lovers. Very friendly service and you can pay by card.

Perfect place for when you wanna try a little bit of this and that, especially to share with friends. Many delicious options which are creatively different. I tried almost all of the tapas and nothing disappointed. Been going there and also ordering via Wolt many times, quality is always consistent.

My first experience in a German restaurant here in Berlin, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The service was cold, and inattentive. We had to chase the waiter to order. After waiting for more than 25 minutes after we had finished the starters we cancelled our main meals and left. It’s even more frustrating considering the high prices, which should come with much better service. I won’t return, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place.

Amazing food and amazing service. Normally, I’m not someone who writes reviews, but I wanted to make an exception for Schnitzelei Charlottenburg. We had booked a table for eleven people today, but due to an unexpected cancellation from five guests, we had to change our reservation at the last minute. They accommodated us immediately—without any passive-aggressive attitude or extra charges. I would definitely come again for their service and also food.

We came in 4 adults and 1 child and ordered the Meet Tapas (Variado de Carne) for 4 people. The portion was really enough for us and delicious. Service was friendly, they even offered us some Schnapps at the end. We will come back.

Chose this eatery from TripAdviser. Was clearly a popular venue as we had the last table. Service was slow even at the beginning. The young lad who took our order was awesome and very fast. Drinks came back fast. The food was great. Could not fault it. Except one dish did not appear at all, and unusually no one came back to us until it was time to clear the table. We would have relieved a lot more drinks if the service had been better. So, fab food and atmosphere. A lot of work is needed on the service. Total no. of view at the time of writing=9.5m

food was yummy but the manager/ bar tender/ server?? was extremely rude to a latina server. he kept yelling at her in front of everyone and making a scene. it made us very uncomfortable.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We've got 2 mixed platters (a cold, and a hot one) to share, that was delicious. No wine, just water. The dimmed light inside and elegant decoration contribute to the atmosphere. Servers were lovely too. Nice cosy place, we'll probably return!

Had the serrano ham plate - a poem! Fantastic flavours. They took a simple idea and made it extra bougie! Giant capers, red currants, vibrant dressing - a total dream. Small side salad - amazing- and same thing, executed to perfection, loaded with tasty little bites; sundried tomato, feta, fresh berries. Bread and aioli = ♡♡♡♡♡♡ Also had the pork in pepper sauce - just beautiful. Wonderful prosecco to start and a full-bodied red to accompany the meal. Dessert was the perfect end to a perfect meal. All in all dreamy. Ambience, food, service. STRONG recommendation. ♡♡♡♡♡

A beautiful tiny, romantic looking restaurant, very well appointed and clean. Unfortunately the electronic music not fitting the ambiance; the restaurant a tad too dark; the food beautifully presented, but the quality of it very average and the portions very small. In addition no drink menu at all. So you don’t know the price of the drink you ll order.

A gem of a Spanish restaurant that truly delivers on flavor. We tried a variety of tapas, and each dish was delicious and authentically prepared. The prices are slightly on the high end, it’s a fair choice for a casual yet satisfying dining experience. What stood out the most was the incredible dedication of the staff. When we visited, we were the first customers of the day, and we were amazed to see one lady running the entire restaurant. Her efficiency, friendliness, and ability to handle everything seamlessly was truly admirable.

From the outside it doesn’t look impressionable, but once you enter, you’ll love it! From the cork inspired stools to the faux citrus tree, the interior was quaint and Spanish inspired. The croquettes, olives, Catalan bread, patatas bravas, and wines were delicious. Service was great!! I wish I had taken pictures of the food. Highly recommend!

Food as good as you could ask for such an establishment, chorizo cooked in cider that melts in the mouth (a fave of Fernando Alonso, so the menu said!) A bit of misunderstanding between us and the waiter a few times (e.g. concerning our request for tap/table water) but I put that down to a mild language barrier. Nonetheless polite, as was the lady who served us later. Oh, and you get a view of the TV tower, where we'd been previously, which is pretty neat.

Found this high up on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. Beautiful, authentic Spanish tapas and stunning decor. Great location, right on the square at Alexanderplatz! The food was amazing, particularly the Jamon and cheese platter it was to die for! Great first feed in Berlin and perfect if you're not overly hungry and want some picky bits to share. Restaurant is small so I recommend booking.

Their Empanadas is a must try. I would have liked the fried anchovies crispier. Patatas Bravas is a no no, as they tasted neutral and the sauces on top did not add any flavour. Personal opinion: I felt the need to add salt in all the foods. Their churros with hot chocolate sauce is a must try. Shout out to the great service offered. Overall, the experience was good.

Truly tasty, good quality Spanish tapas. We loved all of our choices - the tortilla, patatas bravas, padron peppers, chorizo, calamari, with a gorgeous bocadillo to boot. Topped off with a lovely Rioja. Happy food, happy kids, happy times! (And warm, helpful service). Overall a great spot amongst some more touristy choice!

Average food, good service. This is a small restaurant with both indoor & outdoor sittings. We had dinner there on Friday, it was very busy. We had green pepper, empanada stuffed with tuna & egg, Potatoes. Did not like the food, never had Empanadas in puffed pastries (see photo), it was not warm, stuffed with mostly cheese not much Tuna. Green peppers & potatoes were too salty. They have English menu, waiter speaks good English & helpful.

The food is absolutely delicious, but it’s often very crowded, so booking a table in advance is definitely recommended.

This restaurant is highly racism and extremely unfriendly. Since our group was larger, we were informed of a two-hour dining limit. However, the food took nearly an hour to arrive. Not long after we started eating, the staff began clearing our dishes and constantly rushing us. One staff member even knocked on the table and yelled at us to eat faster, despite there being 20 minutes left on our dining time. It was impossible to relax and enjoy the meal! Such behavior is utterly unreasonable. I’ve traveled extensively, and this is by far the worst service I’ve ever encountered. We didn’t order less than expected and even paid the service fee. There are many better restaurants to choose from nearby. While the food was undeniably good, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone due to their appalling service.

I love this place🤩 my favorite go-to authentic spanish food location, very good Paella 👌 and the portion is to share for 2 people, very good live music 💃 you are transported to Spain during your time there. It gets relatively busy at night, but it is quieter around 7 8. One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin!

Highly recommend the clams with octopus, the sauce tastes very Taiwanese style! Fish Soup is also flavorful. Seafood paella was just ok, not memorable. Service could be better.

I highly recommend getting the dinner with friends. We got to try so many things on the menu we otherwise may not have tried. Spresso beef is life changing. Service is amazing, Lucas (bar tender/host) was so helpful in explaining everything and creating a menu that fit perfectly for me and my friend.

We had such an excellent meal here. The bagel was particularly good and I'd definitely recommend the ceviche. The desserts were also excellent. Service was great - the staff was very attentive and felt very laid back even though it was very busy. I'd definitely recommend getting a reservation as we weren't able to get a table until 9:45pm.

Absolutely incredible meal, service and atmosphere. We came here for our 8th wedding anniversary and did the dinner with friends option. It was busy and still all the staff made the experience amazing and had all the time for every single customer. I'll think about the pork ribs, lamb and beef kebab and Spresso'Beef for a long time to come!

The food was simply mind blowing! A cute restaurant with great decor and vibes tucked away in a small courtyard, this place is a must visit if you are looking for amazing Mediterranean fusion fare. We had the burrata for appetizers and the shrimp for mains and everything was simply heavenly. We also got the chocolate fudge and bread pudding for dessert and they were simply heavenly decadent. The cocktails were quite average for the price. The service definitely needs improvement, the staff quite literally kicked us out in an hour because they wanted to give the table to someone else.

The meal started with their own-made sesame bread — fresh from the oven, warm, and crusty with a nutty aroma that’s absolutely addictive. It set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. Here are my fave so far: Ceviche– A zesty, citrusy burst of freshness that woke up the palate. Fried Cauliflower– (perhaps my favorite!) Crispy and golden on the outside, soft on the inside, with a sauce that took it to the next level. Surf and Turf (Octopus & Sausage)– An unexpected pairing that worked perfectly. The octopus was tender and smoky, the sausage rich and flavorful. Amba Chicken– Tender chicken infused with the sweet-sour flavors of amba sauce—comforting and delicious. Lamb Chops with Beans– Juicy, tender lamb and creamy beans that brought a touch of rustic comfort. Sweet Potato & Parsley– Earthy, sweet, and brightened up with fresh herbs. Will definitely go back to try all other dishes! The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Every dish reflected a focus on quality ingredients and a genuine passion for creating memorable food. One of the best restaurants in Berlin!

What a fun place to eat. The staff are so friendly. The food was delicious…espresso beef was so tender; the ribs just melted off the bones; also loved the shrimp, the bread+hummus, the artichoke and burrata were all great. Nice wine selection and price. Very cute location.

We had a delicious dinner this week at Night Kitchen! We sat at the bar inside which, if you have long legs might mean you need to sit at an angle, but was otherwise comfortable. Note that there is no air conditioning inside. We showed up a little early for our 7:15 reservation and they were not yet busy. Because we were early, we had the option for the 2.5 hr "Dinner with Friends" even though we booked the 2 hr a la carte experience. We went with the friends dinner. OMG there was so much food! After sharing our dietary preferences, our server customized a dinner for us. Out first course considered of 4 diff small plates, 2nd course was 3 more small plates, and we couldn't go on for a third course, we were too full. But we tried 3 different desserts, the bread pudding was amazing! If you're hungry, dinner with friends is the way to go, as they will just keep bringing food until you cannot eat anymore! That's all for the one price of 60€ so quite the value. Our servers were all so delightful and friendly. By sitting at the bar we also got to talk to some friendly other travelers. I would definitely return!

I fully recommend ordering the cheesy dumplings, they were my favorite plate of the night. The atmosphere is very elegant and classy. Great decor and lighting. The service is 5 stars. Clemence was very kind and helped us understand every dish and explain a bit about them. He also suggested a wine that was very good. I would definitely come back to PeterPaul, and I recommend anyone visiting Berlin to come here. The food is well thought and elaborated; it’s not your every day type of food. I went with a group of five, and we started off with a delicate soup served in a cup. Among all the dishes we tried, our favorites were the buttermilk-marinated crispy chicken with watercress yogurt and the cheese dumplings. The most delicious German dumplings I have ever had, I think it's not purely German, it has a bit of foreign influenced taste. Anyway,so good. The other dishes are just ok. Was a little bit disappointed by the Black Forest , it was a deconstructed one, but for me it was uncreative, a piece of brownies and dry cherry put together don't make it a Black Forest.

Great vegan restaurant, tasty food and super friendly staff and service. They have large number of small dishes (in the form of bowls) and also some great larger dishes. I find the prices of the small dishes quite high but the large ones are super affordable. However with the small one you can have greater variety of dishes. I definitely recommend visiting the place. Hint: they prefer card only payments ✌🏻

One of the best vegan experiences I have had in berlin! If you are looking for cozy-comforting food, this place is a must try ! The viet coffee was to die for and bao buns were out of this world. As for the service it was super fast, friendly and super fresh. Will definitely come again

This place was selected for the reunion with my three best friends. We haven’t seen each other in months and wanted to devour some Vietnamese food, while yapping. Vietnamese food is the best food in my opinion. We had a great time and were pleased with the dishes. The staff was very friendly and patient and cute and handsome.

The first time I tried this place by dining in, I wasn’t too impressed. It’s quite popular, so there’s often a wait, and the seating isn’t very comfortable—it’s set up on a busy street with lots of people walking by. Prices aren’t exactly cheap either. However, we’ve ordered delivery from here several times since then, and we’ve grown to enjoy it more each time. I especially recommend the panko-fried dish with peanut sauce, and the jackfruit bao—it’s really tasty. I personally enjoy the flavours of this bao better than the one that's a main dish (2 baos with sweet potato fries).

On Boxhanger Square, this is THE place to go for quality vegetarian Asian cuisine. It’s always the first place in the neighbourhood to run out of outdoor seats and develop a queue, but it’s well worth waiting for rather than going somewhere more quiet. The soup and the curry we tried this time were both incredible. Genuinely some of the nicest dishes I’ve eaten in a long time with delicately balanced with great ingredients. Service is amazing, fast and friendly and incredibly multi-lingual. The view of the quiet is always great for people watching.

Absolutely recommended! Although we didn't book we immediately found a place and after choosing the dishes they brought them to us very quickly! In 3 we ordered 8 tapas (and for us it was the perfect portion). The water is free (there is a refill) and the price in our opinion is fair. The food is delicious, with cool and innovative flavors. We are not lovers of spicy, and if you are not either I advise you not to order "Rausch der Sinne". You definitely need to order the “Shaolin pockets”, they are so tasty!!

Our dining experience at Eins44 was incredible. I highly recommend coming to Neukölln for a visit. We were able to be seated on a weeknight without a reservation. It’s a bit tricky to find, as it’s around the corner on the inside side of a building, as a former rum distillery. Once inside, it’s a beautiful, innovative, high-ceilinged tiled space, with lots of wood, green, and industrial elements. The servers are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, set in ensuring your experience is excellent, and yet laid back. Great music too. I highly recommend the 5-course menu with wine pairings. The menu changes with seasons. They source exceptional local produce. The wines are mainly Pfaltz/German, and some from Austria and France, especially Alsace and Burgundy. We can’t say enough about our excellent evening here.

The place has an amazing modern industrial vibe to it with the food doing every bit to enhance that experience into something amazing! We went for the 5-course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The staff are so friendly and very well versed with suggesting wines that will go with your meal. Highly recommend for a date night or even a special dinner with family and friends!

For me surprisingly the highlights were dessert and bread. Not that everything else wasn’t good. I can see why the word “creative” is emphasized. The dishes were indeed not usual and seemed to require good effort. Everything I had was very delicious. The atmosphere was very nice. Staffs were friendly.

Tried this place based on the recommendation of Eater 38 Berlin. Absolutely wonderful meal in a very cool space. It's a little hard to find, Google Maps puts you at the door to an apartment building, but the restaurant is in a courtyard behind that building. The staff, especially Helen, were delightful. We made up two different tasting menus, so we tried about 2/3 of the menu on offer this night. We had wine pairings to go with. Absolutely everything was first class cooking, served beautifully presented but not fussy. The wine pairings were delightful. If I had to pick a favorite, it was the lamb 4 (four!) ways with spring peas. My wife's favorite was her perch, but all the courses were memorable and great. Don't miss Eins44 if you're in Berlin. And be sure to try some schnapps at the end!

We had a very good time in Eins44. The atmosphere is a little industrial chic and it's still kind of laid back, although fancy. Service is great and not too reserved, fun to interact with. The food (we had a four course menu) was delicious and had a nice variety. The wine was good. The whole experience was just not exceptional, as you would hope for that price category. Therefore 4 stars in total.

Was Eins44 was a nice but not memorable experience. Smoked eel starter, venison main course and bread were delicious, however, the rest of the dishes were quite disappointing. It’s hard to image what story the chef is trying to tell with their tasting menu, as the pieces don’t fit together. Would I recommend the place to others? I’d say no as I won’t be able to explain why someone has to go there.

A nice Mexican bistro to have a quick bite. It's easy to reach, next to a tram stop. The food is good, the prices are normal. Nothing mind blowing or wrong. It's a small place. There is limited space inside and it's hot. There are tables outside but it can be challenging in the summer due to the scorching sun. There are not many trees to cast a shadow. It's a convenient bistro to eat something quick and move on. If it aligns with your expectations then nothing disappointing.

Kinda bumped into this place and was intrigued by the queue while neighbouring places were empty. It was a blast. The food was beyond tasty and the frozen drink was delightful! The staff are nice too. I would go back. (I ordered a quesadilla and margarita.)

I come here a lot with my friend for burrito or taco night. Service can be a little slower when busy but it's always worth the wait. The margaritas are fun and perfect for when it's hot

The place is very small and it can get quite crowded. But don't let this hold you back. The food is delicious, with a homemade feeling. I can only recommend it. The service was friendly and very quick. The burrito was great and the tacos too. They don't take reservations and there's not many places to sit, so be prepared.

Really excellent food and service, I love the commitment to sourcing ingredients sustainably. All the fish was good, but the grilled items particularly so. The savoury dishes were stronger than the desserts, but overall for the quality and the ingredients I think it’s a fair price for the whole menu.

Let’s start of with this place is amazing! Had dinner here this Saturday night, we arrived super early as there’s no booking due to COVID 19 restrictions, so got ahead of the crowd. Service was exceptional, very friendly and warm staff, super knowledgeable about the dishes and the very interesting wine list. The VIBE was also great! We had delicious dish after delicious dish, each having complex layering of flavours, but with simple and beautiful plating. The plates are small sharing plates, that are flavour packed and toe curling good. Three of us shared 9 plates and came away satisfied, full and happy. Go online check the menu that they publish and see what delights you’re in for. Another cool thing, is you can see on the menu who’s supplied the meat/veggies and other products that you are eating in each dish, small local farms, artisans etc. To sum up, cooking of the highest caliber, interesting insightful flavour combinations, a must visit in Berlin. I actually expected more from this place. The price is too high for what you get. Some of the dishes weren’t well executed and the service could have been better as well. Starters were better than the main. Quail wasn’t tasty, included oranges that weren’t mentioned on the menu and also was over cooked.

The tasting menu was very nice. Interesting flavours, attention to detail, and I cannot fault the execution at all. The staff is friendly too. It isn’t a bargain for Berlin standards but also not exorbitant for what you are getting. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place

They are now doing takeaway fried chicken & burger steak sandwiches. The chicken one is very very good - it has a tonkatsu style breading with a great smokiness and bbq flavour from the teriyaki-style sauce. It comes with a homemade eggy bread which is just perfection. The steak one was not as good in my opinion. It felt a bit like biting into a large piece of undercooked meat (not enough texture and too chewy). The plum sauce was a bit too sweet and rich for my liking. Overall, they were good and I was happy to support.

Finally made it to Mrs Robinson's and ohh my god it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small and cosy, the staff are superb, attentive and just the right amount of chatty. And the food is simply stunning. We've had the tasting menu and wine pairing and it was heavenly.

Not full, and the atmosphere was relaxing and easy to talk with others. - The food is decent but some dishes are quite pricy for the amount they contain. - Read some reviews about the rudeness of the service. In our case, the guy at the bar, which was the first person we encountered when wntering, was uninterested both when we enterred and wanted to pay at the end. But the young waitress who took the actual order was polite and friendly. Nothing too negative happened that day. - if you're nearby, i'd recommend giving it a try.

The food was pretty average and generally overpriced, location nice, except for the shaky tables/benches, service also nice, one star less only cause at the end I asked for a glass of tap water and I got it with a receipt of 2,40€. It was a very small glass of warm water, so I don’t understand why I had to pay it so much, but also I would have liked to be asked beforehand if I was willing to pay that price since me and my boyfriend were leaving anyway and it’s usually free in most places. Perhaps I was misunderstood and given water from a bottle, but still 2,40€ for a little glass is more than overpriced. Especially after spending almost 70€ in two. Not sure if I’d go back, but recommended if you’re just looking for a place where to drink nice wine, in a nice setting and with some appetisers. Not recommended if you’re hungry and don’t wanna spend 35€+ per person for an average dinner. There are better tapas places around

It's a nice place for a dinner in Boxhagener platz. We choose to try the meat and vegetarian combinations from the special tapas recommendations: there were some tasty ones and some a bit less tasty (-1 star). Also the price of the recommended combos was quite high considering some had quite a plane taste (-1 star). I'd recommend to select among the individual tapas instead of the combos, as they are cheaper and you have more chances to find something with better flavours. I don't feel like running back to the place soon but, all in all, it was a pleasant experience and I will give it another chance in the future. I'm looking forward to give them the missing stars as the place has potential.

I guess I am very picky after spending years in Lisbon. It’s ok, from what I tried the cheeses and bread were fresh and good, you can see it’s freshly made with care. Maybe main dishes are delicious. Overall nothing bad to say. Good place for tapas and drinks.

The 1/2 sausage tapas was sooo greasy and fatty. Potatoes were also boring and tasted old (not fresh). And the meatballs were just basic, the food didn’t taste fresh, sadly to say. However the wines are fantastic if you just wanna have a drink and eat some bread 🥖 One lady was nice and friendly but the other lady was totally unfriendly and disengaged she did not want to work that day lol

Pure tapas bar in the heart of western Berlin. Great selection of tapas and main dishes, cocktails and so on. Cosy place with a very friendly atmosphere. Just be sure to book the table on Friday/Saturday eve or you will not take a place there!

Always down for Spanish tapas but maybe because we have access to good tapas in Portugal or Spain. The decoration and lighting was on point. It felt like we were among fancy Germans tourists in a Spanish restaurant in Spain but the couple(possibly the owners) were speaking German. We ordered our favourites. Mine is Pimientos Padrón and my benchmark to decide if I return. The food came very quickly but they were either cold or tasted like they were heated in the microwave. A trip to the bathroom explained it, there was only one guy in there, not possible he was cooking everything.

I was here for a birthday celebration of a friend. The music was good. A lot of salsa in it. The food seemed really good. There is nit a lot of seating area but the place is quite cozy and comfortable. The roof paintings are also quite interesting. The only issue in my opinion was the behavior of the staff. It felt like they were understaffed and hence it was really hard to get their attention even in this small place. The gave free drinks to the birthday party which is nice.

A cosy nice tapas restaurant. Every tapas was good. Not outstanding good, but good. It took a bit until the tapas arrived, but that gave me more time to celebrate 10th marriage anniversary. We ordered the patatas arrugadas with mojo rojo, the stewed beef in sherry, chorizo in caramel vinegar, squid and an egg salad. Nothing to worry about. Go there, enjoy reasonable prices and professional service.

Tapas tasted like they're straight from a jar. The bread was the cheapest baguette available and the paella was as bland and boring as it's sad looks suggested. Service was friendly but not the most attentive one. We constantly got very small servings of bread for a table of three and had to ask for more. Drinks usually came after a reminder. The Crema Catalana was pretty much ice cold with the exception of the crust on top. Again, bland and underwhelming. Combined with the rather high pricing I'd say never again.

We ordered catering for 18 persons to be delivered to a location where parking even for a few minutes was extremely difficult and limited. They came on time and delivered everything we asked for and then some. The food was delicious. Fully recommend

I really love the mission behind Kreuzberger Himmel and highly recommend supporting this initiative. If you’re craving homestyle Middle Eastern (especially Syrian) cooking, this spot delivers. The food is hearty and flavorful, and the space itself has a welcoming, community-driven vibe that makes you want to linger.

I was here a couple of years ago and loved the food. But this time (couple years later), it was a bit disappointing. It definitely is overpriced now, 9 Euro for Babaganoush which was missing a bit of taste. It was not bad and fresh, but def not worth the price. Also the main dish felt more like a starter because of the size and came at 13 Euro. Wouldn’t mind the price if the taste and everything would be exceptional, but sadly it was only good.

I came here as I thought the concept was great, plus I’m a huge fan of Levantine cuisine having spent months working in Lebanon and having visited Syria in 2019. This said, everything was a disappointment: starting from the shared table with another couple (though I booked a table in advance — no privacy) and the room was extremely cold and had to eat with my coat on. Tablecloth was spotted and dirty in many places, this isn’t fine for a medium price range restaurant, no doubt about this. The food: I would only save baba ganoush, sadly muttabal wasn’t available as many other dishes. So I ordered koussa bil Laban and the portion (see picture) was embarrassing small for the price. There was hardly any meat in the zucchini. My mum got kibbeh. I tried them. They were tasteless, completely lacked of spices. I could only taste the bulgur from the shell. She couldn’t finish them. The service was not attentive at all. I sadly won’t be back, one star cause 0 isn’t an option. Good Levantine food is somewhere else in Berlin, at fair prices and with Levantine portion sizes, not children’s ones.

I had the Faroug, it was a tasty meal but maybe too lemony but would guess that’s the authentic version. Service was nice and meal was decent portion.

This is a wonderful restaurant that is run by and employs refugees, mainly from the larger Middle East. Come eat and support.

The food was wonderful. I love the Spanish tortilla and the skewers. The churros were disappointing and the chocolate they gave me with it was burnt, so maybe have some more Spanish tortilla instead next time. Definitely go, it was delicious. The service was very nice.

The food was pretty good, went with a group of 6 and they forgot one dish. The pad Thai is extremely spicy for a ‘one fire’ on the menu. Couldn’t finish it because it was too spicy and lips were on fire. The people are kind and there were plenty of options.

It’s a great Thai place with vegan food. I’ve been here twice and the food tasted so good. The price is also very reasonable compared to other restaurants. My friends loved and will definitely visit again. 👍

I went here after hearing so many people talk about it and It was a good experience but a little underwhelming. I ordered pad thai, papaya salad and crispy tofu. Pad thai was good but I’ve had better pad thai in Berlin. Papaya salad was ok too. The crispy tofu- that was something disappointing. It wasn’t crispy at all and rather chewy and soggy. So I would say- a good place, but you have better options in Berlin. Also, I booked a table in advance but probably you have to wait to get a seat because its packed even on a weekday.

Food is decent but not outstanding. If you’re craving vegan Thai, it’s a solid choice. The atmosphere is lively but gets noisy and crowded in the evening. Service was fine, though a bit slow — the waiters had real poker faces, probably just tired and understaffed. Prices are fair, and main dishes portions are generous. Overall, a nice spot but nothing exceptional. The mango lassi was great, while the pad thai was overly sweet and far from authentic, though still not too bad. So it’s 4 starts + 1 star for a fully vegan concept.

Not sure what the hype is about. The dishes are not bad – we had Phad Krapau which was too sweet to my taste, and a Penäng curry which had nice flavors, and the vegan duck was delicious, but still nothing extraordinary (especially compared to real Thai food in Thailand). The atmosphere is cool, but the service was disappointingly slow. Go for it if you’re particularly looking for a vegan Thai restaurant in Berlin, but otherwise it’s not a must.

Cool atmosphere! Fun with friends because it is so shareable and easy to pay separately if you have a big group. I found the sauces to be too sweet for my preference but still very very delicious and i do recommend!

One star for mango lassi, one star for coconut soup. The rest is a disappointment sadly. The dish with a jackfruit (#18) had no jackfruit at all 😭 basically my impression was - all under same sauce, same ingredients traveling from one dish to another (carrots, zucchini). And all with deep fried tofu.

I'm giving the review solely based on the things I ordered: the croquetas de jamon was very disappointing. No jamon at all. The other plate was "fish tapas" which was a mix of fish, fried potato, chickpeas (?), tortilla, squid, and salad. Also, not very tasty and the combination didn't make too much sense. On a good side, wines were good and the prices are cheap. However, I wouldn't come back.

Great for people with kids, they get to play and you can have a moment to relax. The food was not wow but served the purpose.

Especially if you have kids. This location is great because a playground is right next to the restaurant, and a fence surrounds it. Food was OK, nothing special and I have eaten way better tapas in Berlin but I think there concept is more to be a playground with beer and snacks which happen to be Spanish and then that's fine.

Shockingly poor experience. we were waiting for at least 30 minutes to get some padron peppers without the rest of the order coming. another table that came at least 20 mins after us got served before us. not even aioli and olives came. ordered a bottle of wine, got a glass. we decided to leave, when paying no compensation but a slight excuse only. stay clear, this is really not a nice place

tapas and drinks were awesome. this place serves my hubby's favorite beer. my hubby and i loved the casual atmosphere too.

Had brunch at Kink Bar and it was such a good experience! The food was absolutely delicious – every dish felt super fresh and flavorful. The portions were just right, and you can really tell they put care into the menu. The vibe is relaxed but still stylish, which makes it a great spot whether you’re going with friends or just want to enjoy a slower morning. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly, which I really appreciated.

I was on a business dinner in Kink Bar. The food, the drinks and the service was awesome. We got a four course menu, which was for sharing. The food was on point, a really good taste and a nice view. I tried some cocktail and white wine, all of them were fine too. 👌 I recommend warmly this location for business events.

Genuinely fabulous food. My last visit was two years ago and the quality has actually even increased! I remembered Kink for good food and outstanding cocktails but the food was truly delightful this time. I’ll be back much sooner! As a busy restaurant in Berlin, there could always be more & friendlier staff — but that’s coming from Brits and Americans who have other standards 🙈 For Germany, the service is pretty good 😉 I liked that seasonal asparagus dishes were available. We had a mix of meat dishes which were great but ordered mostly vegetarian — it was the burrata and ravioli that blew us away most. Even the bread and butter are lovely and the oysters were fantastic. We also enjoyed the cocktails and Petnat (sparkling natural wine)!

Very mid place that tries to pretend that it’s hip and cool. With so many great restaurants in Berlin, this would be definitely be one to skip. The food was very hit or miss, the radicchio salad was good as was the beef tartare. The lamb was burnt and tasteless. The menu is meant for sharing but it took over an hour for our food to arrive. The cocktails were good but no super creative options. Staff were pretentious and at times rude. Overall a disappointing experience.

A very nice place with a very awful service. First they forget about us waiting for the table, then they forget about part of our order, on top of that all the food is served at the same time for no reason. You have to chase the Staff around for everything. Food was just okay, nothing spectacular really. Drinks were very good at least.

Well, don't know where to start because I'm so excited about the Kink. We were there yesterday night for the first time and for my birthday and I can tell hands down, this was the best food experience I had in Berlin so far, and I'm been living here since 13 years. The place is super cozy, artistic but not too fancy. Already at the entrance, you feel welcomed from the staff. The food was simply amazing. The lamb was superb. Wine really tasty. What I really enjoyed is that every single dish has a lot of character, extremely well balanced and tasty. All the sauces were so good. An explosion of Umami. We all know, and nobody would feel offended, if I say that Berlin is not the most "Gastfreundlich" city in the world, but by Kink that's not the case. Service was super nice, competent, friendly and I would say with an appropriate speed. They let you take your time and enjoy the meal without any kind of rush. Compliment to all the staff of the Kink, it's a place where I would definitely come back and recommend.

Give it a try… I’ve been here 4 times (live around the corner)…great atmosphere…food in winter is 20 times better then in summer (menu is larger). Very cozy interior (in winter). Great terrace in the summer. I would still come here, but not for a full meal (in the summer). Maybe just a few beers… Today was the first time that I came solo style (memories of a loss)…it took 30min to get an order for just drink and 1h to get food on the table. They also put me in a corner that maybe was trying to be nice..but felt a bit excluded. What can I say..honestly I don’t think it was intentional, but stable for 1 left completely alone is not nice.. Either or...the space is ok and everyone is nice. I will try again. For Moabit, thank you! I’m happy that there is a restaurant like yours.

Awesome place and really good food. Unexpected find in the neighborhood that usually has middle eastern restaurants. Their Sangria and tapas are a must have. The interiors need a bit of designing but the vine of the waiters are definitely up there. Very friendly and takes the time to explain the concept and the food. Definitely a must try.

We shared the vegetarian tapas selection for two, which was delicious and great value for money! The patatas bravas with alioli was especially good, and so were the padron peppers. We tried a few of their cocktails, including the basil smash, which were all very nice. We were very impressed with this restaurant, especially with the amount of vegetarian options. We would highly recommend.

Booked a table on line and had assumed we were booked to eat. Only on arrival in Berlin that we checked email which said we needed to report to the Soot bar. Should have spotted when we were the only table booked. Staff were lovely despite confusion over the beer. Good place for a drink.

Just a really cool space with a food market and comfy chairs. Great space for relaxing socialising etc. so much variety in the food and all of it is incredible. Syrian food, sushi, Korean fried chicken, bars, Turkish kebab, burgers, pasta, pizza and that’s not even all of it! Really worth a visit

Wow, this place is amazing as in Prague! There is a lot of variety of food. Korean fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce is amazing, cocktails are very good and kumpira chicken with potatoes is sooo tasty and girls there are so friendly 🤤And the special thanks to our waiter Nika, who makes our dinner here unforgettable ☺️

Unfortunately, the seafood tapas were not tasty. They were too greasy and oily. The shrimp were rubbery and had no flavor at all. What did make me happy was the draft San Miguel and the friendly waitress.

Small towelsize restaurant in Berlin Steglitz, nice place for typical dinner from Spain. The owner and the staff are maybe originally. The restaurant is well-known, you need reservation for getting a table ... And you need time too ... For waiting ... But the eating is not the intention for visit, isn't it?

Excellent food. Despite having only one server for the whole restaurant our food didn't take too long to be served. Everything was delicious but highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates. To die for. Desserts are also delicious and the server was very friendly. Definitely going back.

Very good taste, I tried the Shawarma sandwich. And the restaurant is super easy to find, just downstairs of the U2 line. Fast service, smiling face, I give them a thumbs up!

Was really excited to try this place as it seemed to be highly rated, however, was extremely disappointed. For €4.5/5 each, this is the state of the tacos. You couldn't even blame the delivery or how they were transported. One taco wasn't even made. The filling was thrown into the box and the tortilla on top. We are also missing the guacamole that cost €4. We basically paid to make our own tacos. As for the flavor, tacos were bland. They tasted of nothing. The chicken also had a strange color, I didn't even give it a try. The beef strips were chewy and also tasted of nothing. The only saving grace was the lime. It's normal for restaurants to have an off night and I would usually always give them a second chance. But for this 0/10, never again.

Small taco place under the subway tracks. The location is kinda cool and convenient. The food quality is ok but not the best tacos I had. Good for a quick bite if it’s on the way and prices are ok for the size of the portion. But you can definitely find tastier tacos not far away from here ;)

Such a cute little place. Enjoy the freshly made corn tacos while watching people walking past. We got lucky listening to live music while enjoying the delicious tacos. Prices are okay, ingredients taste fresh. I recommend adding extra guacamole to your taco for 50 cents. It's a dream!! I also recommend 2-3 tacos per person. There are a lot of different options: gluten free tacos, vegan ones, with meat, keto friendly... Something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by for a taco snack.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and I’m glad I finally did it. The tacos were warm but fresh and super tasty and the service was great, I loved that the guys could speak spanish, that was a great plus as me and my friend could communicate effortlessly. It was a perfect therefore special combination between berlin and latin vibes! Your origin doesn’t matter but if you’re latin you’re gonna enjoy this place even more and also feel a bit nostalgic! The spot is just beautiful and the music did the rest. Thank you, and keep vibing!

10/10 for vegans. I, a native Californian, ordered 11 vegan tacos (5 carnitas, 4 Al pastor, 2 yoda) to split with my boyfriend. Outstanding!! Their service was great and super friendly staff. They even threw in some free goodies for us since we made such a large order. Carnitas were my favorite. The salsa was the best I’ve found in Europe.

I came with a relative who works here and recommended this restaurant to me, and a she was absolutely right. The food is exquisite, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients they use. The atmosphere and décor are among the best I’ve ever seen — they make you forget what time of year it is. As for the service from both the staff and the manager, it couldn’t be better. I’m very satisfied with both the food and the service. By the way, try the pistachio tiramisu, it's incredible!!!

What a gem! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere, decor, and service were all great. We had the beef carpaccio with focaccia to start, followed by truffle pasta, the Cheese League pizza, and pistachio tiramisu. Everything was outstanding, and the pizza was one of the best I’ve had. The cocktails were decent, not amazing but still enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back for sure.

A very popular Italian spot in Berlin from the Big Mamma Group (also behind Pink Mamma in Paris). The décor is highly overdesigned — colorful, bold, and fun. Both the indoor and outdoor seating are great, and since it’s located inside a park, the setting feels lively. If you sit inside, I’d recommend asking for a booth. Reservations online are essential; the place is always crowded. For food, we shared several dishes: • Crispy Focaccia: More like a thin pita bread — crispy, but honestly not worth ordering again. • Burrata Pomodoro: Came with two large balls of burrata on top of an incredible tomato sauce. Easily one of the highlights. • Beef Carpaccio: A massive portion served on a huge plate — much bigger than we expected. • Truffle Pasta: The famous signature dish of the group. We had tried it before at Pink Mamma in Paris, and it was just as good here — creamy, rich, and full of flavor. All three of us ordered it as our main. • Tiramisu: A wonderful dessert to end the meal — creamy, generous, and very satisfying. To drink, we shared a bottle of organic Valpolicella Ripasso red wine, which paired perfectly with the dishes. The bill came to €175 for three people, which felt reasonable for the amount and quality. Overall, a stylish, fun, and delicious dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re in Berlin and want indulgent Italian food in a unique setting.

This place is so cute! I was alone and didn’t have a reservation, but I was still seated right away. Alessio was so kind, he made great menu suggestions. The food and drink were excellent and beautifully presented. I love the qurkiness of the decor. I strongly recommend checking this place out!

Top marks for food, drinks, vibe, and service. Dinner reservations seemed hard to come by, but we had no problem walking in for lunch on a weekday and being seated immediately. Everything we ate was amazing: arancini and bolognese, I wish we saved room for dessert. The Berlini Spritz was excellent and so easy to drink. The vibe is so cool and retro, it’s just a really nice place to be and was one of the highlights of our trip to Berlin.

It was so much fun dining there with my girls! Glad we chose that one as the food was great, the staff was super friendly and the location is just gorgeous. I’m pretty sure I’ll be coming back soon!

Only had good experiences here but tonight was not one of them. What a (non) pleasant surprise to come home and see that: after the waiter forgot half our orders (black hair, darker type), took an hour to come back to our table to let us know that there was no Kräuter fondue anymore (why did he took 45mn to know that?!) Now arriving at home and looking at the bill more closely, I can see that we actually got billed for 2x kräuter fondue, this is simply not ok. Will also mention that the fondue we had this time was on top, sadly more wine than cheese, and very liquid. 💔

Had a birthday dinner here and it was very good. Staff was extremely nice and friendly, food was wonderful, and the place was very welcoming. It turned out more expensive then we expected but it was still worth the cost.

Food represented nicely and service was good. The food however was okay. Definitely overpriced. Paid 100euro for two people the kase fondu that came with bread, mushrooms and pears and pickles. Mushrooms weren’t washed right and were not represented nicely or cut nicely at least for the price. Nothing really tasted special in def overpriced. Liked the dessert at the end though.

We hade the cheese fondue, very good! I would recommend this place for that specific dish since I have never tried anything else in the two times we have been there. It has quite a relaxed atmosphere but I actually had a romantic date with my husband and it was also suitable for that. Low lights, great food and tasty (expensive) wine.

Drinks: great selections of wines that were selected to be paired with the cheese perfectly. Price: $$$ price of fondue is per person and is quite decent for the quality. Service: very friendly and helpful. At some times a bit difficult to get their attention when the restaurant is full, but nothing too serious to affect the mood. Atmosphere: restaurant decoration looks very Swiss, nice relaxing place. Not too much noise and easy to have a conversation with your guests. Highlights: definitely the cheese fondue

Dinner at Schwarze Heidi on Sunday evening was fantastic. I received a warm welcome and the service was friendly and attentive all the evening. The menu looked terrific and I wasn't disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed a Carpaccio of Bündnerfleisch for my starter, topped with shavings of Tete de Moine cheese. Then for my main course I had the Zurich Gschnätzlets, a very tasty plate of sliced veal with mushrooms and onion in a creamy white wine sauce. This was served with some amazing egg spätzli, Austrian pasta-like noodles that are a little bit addictive! Then finally for dessert, I couldn't resist the delicious Toblerone mousse, which was very indulgent, and paired nicely with some cherry schnapps! Overall, I had a wonderful dinner at Schwarze Heidi, highly recommended, and I hope to visit again on my next trip to Berlin.

Delicious Tapas! The food came in good time, although we were waiting a long time to be seated, and it wasn't that busy. Nice atmosphere, there is also a steak restaurant and a deli section where you can take away cured meats and Tapas dishes. Pretty reasonably priced. Would definitely go again!

Food was very basic. Nothing stood out to me as far as flavor. The squid rings were not seasoned. They were just dipped in batter and fried. We ordered an abundance of food and nothing but a basic salad I order pleased the pallet. I’ll insert pictures below. Service was not bad however I speak fluent English and my boyfriend is fluent in Spanish. Our server was Asian and the language barrier was apparent. For a Spanish restaurant, I was highly confused by the lack of communication between the server and the customer. Other than that I would not recommend this place to eat versus all the delicious restaurants surrounding the area.

We were only customers in this (hotel) restaurant. Food was average, but far from good spanish tapas. But the service totally ignored us. I ask if they are open and there is 3 of us for a dinner. Waitress show table, disappear for 10min and bring 3 espresso that we didnt order. We though that maybe this was greetings from the restaurant but it was not, charged 10.50€ at bill. We had to wait 20min for menus, it took maybe 5min to decide dish, then after 20min wait again i got server tob take order. Food came faster luckily. Only thing we got fast was the bill. I asked for separate.. well, you guess right, only one total bill for the group. Location is only good thing in this place.

Very quiet ambiance and they make good cocktails. Thoroughly enjoyed my calamari and small plate of Mediterranean vegetables. A nice venue for meeting friends for a quiet chat. Pleasant staff. Lovely decor.

My sister and I are staying in the hotel and stopped to have a wine and tapas. I am so glad we did! The ambience inside is so lovely! Staff were super friendly and happy and the food was really beautiful. We will make sure we stop in again.

The food is not good. The portions are a joke. The drinks were served in glasses that smell like dirty cloth. But the worst part was the staff! We were ignored and disrespected. 1 star is too much for this place

Best tapas in Berlin. Worth the price. Wine was also excellent. Clean nice environment, high quality ingredients.

Pretty good pintxos for a bit too much money. Not every of the four dishes was as imaginative tastewise as the looks might have made you hope. Frankly, the anchovies were even a bit bland. The pork belly and black garlic vegetarian pintxo were the best. Worth a visit nevertheless.

Food was amazing with friendly and proactive staffs. So glad that I got to know Discoeat from friends - reserved the table via the app and my bill got 30% off, money well spent and happy tummy! Gonna share my favourite pakchoy to y'all:P

6 adults ordered everything on the menu and it was great!

Although the interior looks very nice we had some wonderful tasting tapas and drinks outside. Very polite waiters and once again it was very tasty.

Delicious tapas, although a bit pricey in terms of tapas but with a 30%discount by booking discoeat app was quite ok!

Big group ate here — for 15 minutes as people arrived no one even came to ask what drinks we wanted as we waited. The whole dinner the servers seemed to be avoiding eye contact while everyone else seemed to be attended to. The food was fine but very small portions. Do not get the gambas unless you like your food completely unseasoned. The standout was definitely the pork belly which really was perfect. However, overall, disappointing.

Food is good but now outstanding. Wine was good, we had a good red wine for a very good price. Service was terrible... Even though the restaurant was not busy at all when we got there it took ages for someone to pick our order - everyone busy speaking with some friends over the counter... After asking for recommendations we got a monosyllabic answer... And whenever any of the dishes was ready, they would just throw them at our table.

Okay, so this place was a real letdown. That "free coffee and snacks" thing? Total clickbait. All I ever saw were some stale pretzels, and I managed to snag half a tiny croissant *once*. Then there was the owner. Honestly, it's like she's never had a guest before! I got told off for a bit of makeup on a pillow. Seriously? And when my suitcase broke, the staff couldn't even understand me because they didn't speak English! Super frustrating for an international hostel, right? Then *I* got the blame for leaving it in the courtyard. Apparently, my attempt at being considerate like those Germans who put things out for others to take was a problem. Cue a rude email from the owner accusing me of using red paint in the *shared* bathroom and threatening to charge me 20 euros! She did offer me a refund for my last night, which I jumped at because I honestly didn't feel safe in the area or welcome at all. But guess what? The refund never happened, and now I have to chase it up with AGODA. I even have her exact words: "If you don't like my message, I won't mind if you move to another Hotel today. I'll even make sure that you get your money refunded overnight. Nelly." Yeah, right. Oh, and get this – my roommates' beds were made every day, but mine? Nope. The whole thing started badly anyway. The room I booked wasn't ready when I arrived, so I got stuck in another room and had to come back from sightseeing the next day, supposedly to move. Only to be told I *didn't* need to move after all! A simple message could have saved me the trip, but no communication whatsoever from the owner. Seriously, if you want a comfortable stay, look somewhere else. The area felt dodgy, and that 12-minute walk back from the subway at night was unnerving. Just trust me on this one.

The stay at this hostel was amazing, we liked everything about it, we felt there very well, especially i liked a lot the backyard. Only small thing is that we as two girls didn’t feel comfortable and calm while going back to the hostel from the bus / metro station, hopefully, they were really close. Otherwise, the placement of the hostel is pretty good, just 20 minutes to the city centre. I would definitely recommend it.

Great place! Can only recommend for anybody who needs to stay in Berlin for a few days and doesn't mind a smaller room. It's quite literally "Klein aber fein" (small but fine). The owner was really nice in the messages and we had no problems getting into our rooms and getting comfortable. Theres three bathrooms in total and I recommend taking slippers with you since the floor by the toilets can quickly become wet after showering. Still 5/5, would definitely come by again whenever I'm in need of a place to stay at.

Rooms are OK & the house is very clean. Affordable room. There are some snacks and breads available but they certainly are not the best and items in fridge are leftovers. But they're free, so I won't complain. There are great selection of tea and filter coffe. Location is not good. It is quite far away than the Berlin Mitte. Metro is 12 minutes away by foot, Mitte is like 30 Minutes away by walking and public transport. The hostel's name is deceiving. Staffs are decent. They don't speak English in person and their German is limited but they reply my messages in booking.com. I asked the to change the date of my stay, they did it. I complained about a guy who went into the hostel without knowing his room number and attempted to enter women's dorm (probably untinteionally🤷🏻‍♀️). I asked this guy where's his room but he just passed me by. Later he told us that he is from USA but doesn't speak English nor German. This guy's action made me feel unsafe. The owner replied not so nicely towards my complain, they said they talked to the guy and he is very nice and calm. Probably they are from the same country because the guy doesn't speak English nor German. I am not sure how did they communicate otherwise. I feel not comfortable because of this guy and the low level of aggression the owner showed me after my complaint message. Otherwise I will give this hostel 4 star. One less star definitely due to poor location and deceitful name.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago, and it was a mistake to book several nights in a row without checking the place out first because... oh my god. The owner is very friendly upon check-in, but that's where the positives end. - There is no "breakfast", the breakfast is just the staff going to the store, getting a few discounted 2-day old pastries, cutting them into tiny pieces, and serving them. Some are so old that they're hardened and inedible. There are flies in the basket that they're in too, they all fly out when you lift the cloth, which is gross. The staff don't make coffee, there's a machine but nobody could figure out how to work it and there were no staff around to help. They also plop about 100 different jams and stuff on the table, but that's completely useless because there's nothing to put it on, not even toast. - If you put your stuff in the fridge it will get thrown out, even if there's a name on it. One of the staff members just goes every morning and throws out everything, even clearly fresh, packaged, in some cases unopened food. It was so disrespectful and wasteful, and on our second day there they threw out our takeaway, which we paid about 25 Euro for just a few hours before. The staff never apologized for this or compensated us in any way, they just blamed us for supposedly not labeling it (they could easily have checked the security cameras to confirm that we did indeed label it or to prove us wrong, but preferred to just blame us instead). - The "luggage storage" is just your bag being thrown into a room that other people go into, there's no lock or anything. We may as well have left our suitcases on the street. - The staff aren't there most of the time. There is no front desk. The gate doesn't lock properly and the door is left open, so anyone can come in, and indeed they do - on our second morning there was a clearly mentally ill gentleman who had come in. The staff showed him out as obviously was warranted, but they were unnecessarily cruel to him. - There are only two people working there, and one of them speaks no English and no German and is so rude to the guests. She glares and points at you if you do anything whatsoever to set her off. When we needed help checking in, she literally just stood there and stared at us and made zero effort to solve the problem. We tried to be nice to her, both together and individually, we even offered her some of our food, but she was consistently hostile to everyone except the Russian-speaking guests (there are several Russian-speaking guests staying there/living there long-term). I've never encountered anything like that. - The wifi doesn't work in most areas of the hostel, and they clearly got the cheapest possible service because it's slow and glitchy no matter where you are. - The rooms have no desk, no chairs, no space to sit, nothing. - A lot of people staying at the hostel aren't traveling, they're staying there long-term, and there are some sketchy characters. I saw one of them one evening walking down the street very drunk and harassing someone. There is no effort to screen guests in any way, and it's not exactly the vibe you want if you're just backpacking. - According to another guest, the staff allegedly pressured him to lend them money and pay to extend his stay more than two weeks before the end of his initial stay. Like... what?!?! - The hostel's location is very far from pretty much everything, and not in a nice area of the city. - The aforementioned woman came in to clean beds as early as 9:30am, which we thought was inappropriate. She didn't even knock and gave us her usual glare, as though we were doing something wrong just by existing. - Checkout was 10:30, a bit earlier than we would have liked. - We thought it was funny that the owner goes around replying passive-aggressively to negative reviews. Like... at what point do you consider whether maybe there are some legitimate criticisms and YOU are the common denominator?

WARNING: Unreliable Hostel – Canceled My Booking 15 Minutes Before Check-In! Absolutely unacceptable! I had a confirmed booking and was literally 15 minutes away from checking in when I got a sudden message: “Your reservation has been canceled.” No explanation, no apology, nothing. After hours of travel, I was left stranded in an unfamiliar city with nowhere to go and zero help from the staff. This level of unprofessionalism is shocking. If you’re counting on a place to rest after a long journey, this is NOT the place. They clearly don’t care about guests — just overbooking and last-minute cancellations. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else with basic respect for travelers. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was outrageous. You’ve been warned.

I came to this hostel to participate at a festival nearby. I had an amazing experience. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms had everything I need, including a towel. Every morning the owner prepares a bunch of delicious snacks and stocks the cupboards with bread, cheeses and milk. Laundry was free. When I was having issues with a loud snoring roommate, the owner was incredibly accommodating and switched my rooms immediately. Her English is not very strong but it's not so difficult using Google translate to communicate in German or Russian. Overall, I felt very taken care of here, and when I'm back in Germany, I will book here again.
