Place is too small, would love more proper comfortable seatings, especially with that price. The creme brulee was mediocre, I came at around 8.30am, the pastry was already cold and I dont think the filling (is it blueberry jam?) didnt really go well. I also tried the pistachio croissant.. taste wise its okay, but at €6/pc its on the high side.

Have enjoyed their food over the years, but would recommend strongly to avoid the pistachio ricotta croissant. The filling has almost a bitter, or acidic taste. We didn’t even finish it. I highly recommend the one at Gorilla down the road instead (no ricotta, only pistachio)

Here was one of my favorite bakery. At least I visited here more than 20 times for croissants, Apple danish, carrot cake, baguette sandwiches, other breads. First when I bought this bread, it’s really amazing delicious. So I bought again another day. But when I cut, it was not baked well, more than 70% of bread. It was really disappointing, because I really looked forward to eat again. I could say it ruined my Sunday lunch. The next day, I visited again to tell it. The guy didn’t say any apology about the bread and just ask me refund or get new one. It's a shame about their handling. Yes of course, their business is very good there, so it wouldn't be a big inconvenience if one customer doesn't come back. But at least I think it cannot happen at professional bakery. :(

We tried both croissant and almond croissant, and we really liked them both. Croissants cost 2.3€, almond croissants 2.9€, and lattes 3.5-4€. What we didn't eat remains a memory🧡

I had high hopes for this place. I got their canele and almond croissant (per recommendation of the staff). The canele was DELICIOUS! One of the best canele I’ve had. Crispy outside, soft custardy inside. The almond croissant was so bad. Literally as bad as Starbucks croissant :( I love almond croissants too, but oh man it was soggy, barely had any filling, and lacked a lot of flavor. Maybe I should’ve come earlier in the day, but I went out of my way to come here and I was disappointed ;(

Edit: I don't think you understand how Google Maps review system works. It's full of individual options which build the total rating of a place. You always have the option if you don't like it to remove yourself from Google maps :-). The food looks better than it tastes. When compared to an original french bakery this was a disappointing experience. Also the filter coffee is batch brewed and not fresh. Unfortunately I will not return.

Super nice artisan bakery in Berlin! The quality is excellent, the only downside is the price tag for some of the items. For that reason I probably wouldn’t go back again but it was worth the experience!

Absolutely loved this place! I had the hummus sandwich which was fresh, flavourful, and seriously delicious. But the real star was the cinnamon bun, which was honestly mind-blowing. Soft, moist, perfectly spiced, truly everything you could want in a bun. Despite a queue stretching out the door when we arrived, the staff were lovely, helpful, and still smiling under pressure. It made the whole experience even better.

One of the best Cinnabons I’ve ever had! With different flavours. Their coffee is also good. There’s a cozy place to sit and relax, especially in winter. Sometimes there’s a line, but it moves very quickly. Highly recommended

The place and vibes are great. Amazing cinnamon rolls and coffee. The regular one is lacking a bit of moist, but still it was good, the other flavors were better in my opinion. Ordered a matcha and it was very nice and well made. ❤️

Raspberry white chocolate roll is amazing! I was lucky to get one from a freshly baked batch. They offer a nice variety of bread and other baked goods. I didn’t really like the sandwiches; they’re too small for the price. It gets busy quite easily. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating (indoors can be a bit noisy, and outdoors you have to watch out during wasp season or when the weather’s nice, as birds might try to grab your food). The toilet could use some maintenance; there’s a bad smell and poor ventilation.

Wide range of rolls (schnecke) to choose from. Wouldn’t recommend going for the classic cinnamon one, it’s always drier than the others, nor the Apfelstrudel. The other rolls taste good, they are fluffy and not too sweet. Would add more cinnamon to the almond apple though. Prepare to queue on weekends (for takeout or seating).

It’s huge and offers a vast selection of savoury and sweet pastries, but the sweets really steal the show. Drinks are good too. Everything is fresh and made with quality ingredients, so I recommend trying whatever catches your eye. I personally suggest cinnamon buns.

I don’t know what to say here. The place had a very delicious food and great coffee. That’s 100%. But a terrible service. It’s overcrowded. You need to ask twice or thrice “where is my order” to get it. It’s very noisy and unbearable inside while seated. It’s amazing outside. Just treat this place as a bakery to go and you will be fine. Owners should restrict amount of seats if they can’t afford it. Or express verbally that it would be a very long time for waiting. But as I wrote before a pastry is absolutely amazing. Just take it and enjoy in a park.

9 euros for the smallest bowl of granola i have ever seen, croissants are super heavy as well and overpriced. Only good thing was the coffee. Such a disappointment.

Delicious bakery/café/restaurant! We booked a table a few days in advance (for the weekend) for breakfast and had the porridge and the mushroom sandwich — both were excellent. The pastry is absolutely delicious, freshly made, and perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can really tell they care about quality and detail, from the presentation of the dishes to the choice of ingredients. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed breakfast or brunch spot with great coffee and exceptional baked goods. We came again to try other pastry and it was as good as we expected.

I was particularly excited to try their pistachio croissant, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The balance of flavors was off. The cream overpowered the taste of pistachio, which was surprisingly soft and lacked the distinct nutty flavor I was hoping for. It felt more like I was eating a cream-filled croissant rather than enjoying the rich taste of pistachio. I also tried the pistachio citron tart, and while the tart was well-made, the lemon flavor was overwhelmingly dominant, to the point where the pistachio was nearly undetectable. It was disappointing, especially since I was expecting a more balanced flavor profile where both the lemon and pistachio could shine. The staff, unfortunately, didn’t add much to the experience. They weren’t particularly welcoming or smiling, which affected the overall atmosphere of the bakery. A friendly and warm service could have made up for some of the shortcomings in the food, but that wasn’t the case here. On a positive note, the coffee was good—nothing exceptional, but it met the standard of what you’d expect from a bakery like this. It was a solid cup of coffee, but not something that would make me return specifically for it. Overall, FREA Bakery has potential, but the pastries need better flavor balance, and the staff could be more engaging to create a more enjoyable experience.

The place is vibing! Very peaceful and nice, perfect for a Saturday breakfast. There are multiple food options and the egg and cheese sandwich I tried was very tasty.

The pistachio tart was visually appealing, but the citron base overpowered the subtle pistachio flavor, leaving me underwhelmed. The pistachio croissant was standard, and I've encountered better options in Berlin. While the ambiance was enjoyable, the pastries didn't live up to my expectations.

Sofi, a hidden gem in the Mitte area, offers a cosy atmosphere with ample indoor seating, including communal tables and courtyard seating. We tried the sourdough chocolate cake, savoury croissant, and ham & cheese bun. The pastries were delicious, and the coffee was strong.

Very typical berliner bakery, with nice essencial ambience and very good quality pastries/bread. Nice and welcoming staff. We had a "maison bun" and a viennoiserie with an unpronounceable name, they were both very tasty, even if we couldn't recognize any of the ingredients of the filling, along with two platters of cheese which were really tasty. Coffee was ok. I'll definitely go back for a second shot.

I was blown away by the twice baked croissant. I enjoyed every bite. It’s filled with this lemony/orangey cream that has subtle hints of rum, and then topped with almonds. It’s crunchy but buttery. Just incredible. The hype is real! Honestly the best patisserie product I’ve had in Berlin.

I've visited many bakeries in Paris, London, America, and many other countries around the world. SOFI is the best bakery in the world, and even in the parallel universe. I couldn't believe the incredible taste! If you visit Berlin, I highly recommend it. Note: Prices are somewhat high.

I went there early in the morning, not too crowded and everything was fresh. I got the kimchi cheese toast+earl grey tea and it was delicious breakfast. staff was friendly and helpful. they were all young, nice people. would love to come and try new things !!

the vanilla bread pudding was SOOOOOOO good i love bread pudding and this one was fantastic. the top was baked crispy, the layers were dense yet had pockets of air, and there were bits of faint vanilla-y flavoured, sweet custard in between. it was the perfect amount of congeal-iness and mushiness without being unappetizing. the chocolate sourdough was basically a chocolate muffin, and i thought it was a bit dry?? it wasn’t too sweet, and had a slight bitterness from the cocoa powder sprinkle, and a faint nutty taste. the focaccia was really disappointing though because it was cold and super hard to chew off — not fresh at all. i liked the sweet pumpkin and fragrant onion topping, but i think it would’ve benefited from a sprinkle of sea salt and maybe some olive oil too. and of course warmth !

The place is nice and they have good cinnamon rolls on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The missing star is because the other cakes I tried, are pretty plain. Especially the one with the vanilla sauce was basically a tasteless bread with a tasteless sauce. The prices are a bit above average, especially for this area in Berlin. I haven't tried their bread yet but I'll give it a shot in the future and I hope to remain impressed enough to give it the missing star.

Tried the butter cake here. Was pretty good. The lady serving it spoke English and was very warm and friendly and explained the different kinds of bread and their differences. Always a plus to have such people to help expats with their bread shopping. Also was informed that 10 am is when their cakes are super fresh from their oven. So do visit the bakery at that time for super fresh cakes

That’s one of the best bakeries I have ever visited. The smell of fresh baked goods hits you from the first step. They have a huge variety of delicious breads. I wanted something sweet so I got the butter-sugar cake and for some reason I got a croissant 🥐 for free. I have never eaten such an interesting solid croissant! The cake was super light and delicious. Last but not least the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful!

Their baked goods are really of the highest quality. The beutebrot is a staple in our kitchen and there is no other spot in Moabit we consider when we need baked goods for our breakfasts. The service is friendly and super quick. On top the lovely website just shows the amount of passion the team puts into baking! They approach baking as a true craft and the products reflect it.

+ great sourdough artisan bread + amazingly friendly staff This is gonna be my go to bakery in moabit. I tried their staple sourdough bread with slices of cheese on top. Absolutely wonderful. The crumbs were open and variable in sizes. Good white bread usually has some degree of bounciness to it and the bread here, although a bit more on the bouncy side (imagine the opposite of toast bread which is more floury and fluffy), was very pleasurable in the mouth. Highly recommended for bread lovers!

Simple, cute, straight to the point! They don't need more than that little storefront and a relatively small collection of not-too-flashy baked goods to convince you that they know what they're doing. Their attention to often-overlooked details like the quality of the cinnamon in the Zimtböller are what allow simple to also be delicious.

The desserts are really worth a try, but better for take away. The place is tiny and even if you find a spot, the crowds of people in line make it rather unpleasant to sit there. Especially considering the fact that most of the desserts are 6-8€, I’d expect a nicer setup. The service is rather slow and not particularly friendly. So spare yourself from unnecessary stress and if you decide to go, then just take out.

I like that pastry shop so much. Amazing quality, great taste. If you want a real French flavour in Berlin - it’s a place to go! Be careful - it’s addictive. Great with coffee. My personal recommendation is a muss cake with roasted hazelnuts 🍰☕️🌰

Du Bonheur is hands down my absolute favorite patisserie in Berlin! I get my birthday cake from them every single year — it’s become a tradition I truly look forward to. I visited this pastry shop this morning, hoping for a quick breakfast treat, but I left feeling really disappointed, especially considering the price I paid. The seating was extremely limited, a small bar with only three cramped spots inside and just two tables outside, which felt unwelcoming in the cold. To my surprise, there’s an extra charge for dining in; for example, the almond millefeuille went from 6.30 euros to 7.06 euros if you choose to sit down. This surcharge applies to all their pastries, which felt unnecessary given the minimal and uncomfortable seating options. The coffee didn’t help redeem the experience, with milk that was over-foamed, lacking that smooth, creamy texture I expected. The almond millefeuille, which I was looking forward to, also didn’t live up to expectations. The cream was too soft, with a strong marzipan flavor that masked any true almond taste. For the price, I was expecting a more balanced and refined pastry. The pain au chocolat was standard but not memorable, certainly not worth the premium. Overall, while this shop might be okay for a quick takeaway, it didn’t live up to expectations for a quality pastry experience. The added charge for sitting in, combined with the uncomfortable seating, made me feel that my money was wasted. I left disappointed, feeling that the experience was far from worth the price.

EDIT: once i saw the response from the owner, i had to change my review to 1 star instead of 3. imagine insulting customer's parents for writing a constructive and fair review. so unprofessional and rude, i am truly shocked. chic, cozy cafe & bookstore with a wonderful, kind and helpful staff. ❤️ the bagels themselves are sooo amazing, though the whole dish ('hummus 3') just.. wasn't it. it was kinda under-seasoned, and the side salad...? just a bunch of arugula with two slices of cucumber. i am sure you can do better than this. 🥲 the ambiance & service are great, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. however, it would be better if the food had some improvements to match the overall experience 💗

Really good bagels. I’ll go there again! Service is fast and good. Bagels are toasted and fresh. We took a seat outside and enjoyed our bagels on a Sunday noon. They accept card payments. Parking is a bit hard to find around. Mostly paid streets.

The main dish – the bagel – was amazing. I had an Everything Bagel with their homemade hummus and some vegetables. They didn’t skimp on the hummus, which I really appreciated. As a sweet treat, I went with the recommended cinnamon roll – also amazing: sweet, fluffy, and perfect for a light morning bite. Tip: Drizzle some honey on top! Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t match the quality. I had an espresso, which tasted very sour and didn’t pair well with the meal. So I wouldn’t recommend it. Everything was around 13.50€ Overall, a lovely, charming little place with a great breakfast vibe. Enjoy!

Fine Bagels has been on my to-go-to list for so long. The last time I was in Berlin, we went around 10am which was way too late as it was incredibly busy and we had no chance of getting a seat. This time I came just before 8.30am and there was barely anyone around. I got an onion bagel with cream cheese and extra avocado as well as an English Breakfast tea. The bagel was fresh and absolutely delicious. The combination with the cream cheese and avocado is so simple but sooo good. Even the breakfast tea was amazing (which is rarely the case in Germany in my experience). I ended up taking two bagels to go (honey oat and egg poppyseed) which I cannot wait to try later on. I paid €15 for everything which might seem a lot at first but actually isn't. The lad behind the counter was lovely and very friendly. Overall, the 7am wake-up call was definitely worth it and I'll be sure to visit again the next time I'm in Berlin.

Meshka 3 with chive on everything was good. Any bagel shop worth its salt has a good lox bagel with all the fixins. This place is hyped up and very popular and I would say it meets the hype. Didn't blow my mind, but it was good. Cold brew was a bit weak. feels like it could use some more time steeping. Service is good. Atmosphere is good.

I really enjoy this place for its Portuguese desserts, especially the Pastel de Nata, which is one of my all-time favorite treats. While it might not serve the best natas compared to what I’ve had in Portugal, they come pretty close. The main challenge is getting them fresh since they don’t bake them throughout the day. You have to be really lucky to grab a freshly baked one, as that’s when you can truly appreciate the flavor. The ones in the picture look great, but because they weren’t freshly baked, they tasted quite average. If you visit early in the morning, be sure to ask if they have freshly baked ones—it's definitely worth trying.

I went to bekarei because I heard about the vegan “pastel de nadas“. I came back every day for the coffee, which was delicious and only 2,70€ for a pretty big cappuccino with oatly that was made by the very friendly staff. I wanted to take home some bread but unfortunately it gets delivered by 9am or later and that was the time my train departed, so I only took some pita which were also amazing. But I’ll definitely come back to this little gem on my next trip to Berlin to get another coffee and to finally try some more food. Thank you to the nice woman who started to smile every time I came in after I came a few days in a row.

It was a suggested to me as I am Portuguese and I needed to try it. Despite the scaffolding the outdoor sitting was fully occupied and the vibe was good. Inside it got even better as I saw the glass display with all the sweets and savoury options. We came for the bola de Berlim and we saw some mini ones, they also had bola de arroz, pastel de Nata(obviously), pão de Deus, tosta mista, bolo de Bolacha,… Hard to pick really. The fredoccino was good and the pastel de Nata Brasileira as well(because I have never heard of it, I had no expectations) but it would have been nice if there was the option of French croissant and not only the brioche one(the fiambre was very good). The pastel was flacky but I couldn’t taste any egg. It’s not like Portugal but I would return to try the other items and order a cold Ucal.

Authentic Portuguese/Greek bakery with beautiful tasty pastry, bread, and coffee (galao is wonderful). The Natas are one of the best I have ever tried! Everything tastes delicious and fresh. The service is wonderful and staff is very friendly. For Portuguese, it feels like home. For non-Portuguese, a perfect way of trying the flavors without flying. Best greek-portuguese bakery in Berlin. Period. Always fresh, always soo tasty!! Yes it's not cheap. If you want quality you have to pay for it and they are worth every cent!!

Might be my favorite bakery in Berlin. So friendly a staff, such a fantastic range of baked goods, breads, cakes, and there's not the unreasonable hype of so many Berlin bakeries! The bread is wonderful sourdough and the prices are still reasonable. I love this place, I'll become a regular.

A classic family run bakery. One of the oldest in Berlin. They put out high quality baked goods and sandwiches. This place is super traditional don’t expect anything fancy or new they bake what you’d find 20 years ago. Come here for a rustic sense of what Berlin used to taste like. Also their bread is amazing perfect for making sandwiches and dipping in hummus. Not my fav sweets but I can appreciate the quality and care they put into their food.

I’m not a fan of German food and this bakery changed my mind! Absolutely delicious. With a lovely staff 😍 Everything is extremely YUMMY !!! Special mention to the strawberry donuts!

Bäckerei Siebert is truly special. They still bake with real sourdough and a lot of care and you can really taste the difference. The bread and Brötchen are amazing, and all the cakes and pastries are fresh and homemade. You can tell it’s a family-run bakery. The staff are so kind and welcoming, and it has that warm, familiar feeling that makes you want to come back. I always look forward to stopping by, definitely one of my favorite bakeries in Berlin!

Utterly in love with this place and looked forward to coming back every morning, especially loved the sesame ham & cheese pastry, dulce de leche, and apple&pear chausson - buttery, flakey yet not too sweet. Some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of sinking my teeth in. I'll be reminiscing about these for years to come.

Much better sitting outside that inside, where it's a little depressing. Coffee is good. Quick service and polite but impersonal. Both sweet and savoury options. The carrot cake was too lemony for me but tasty. The coffee I must admit, really good.

Best breakfast in Germany so far :) the price is very fair, I couldn’t believe the price and we got very good portion of food. Cappuccino is also not machine made but good one (shame on me forgot taking a picture). It’s crowded but there are enough places available outside, the service is very quick and friendly. Definitely come back!!

La Maison is a beautiful spot with polished pastries, but the taste falls flat. Croissants lack butter depth, the baguette is dry, and nothing delivers that unforgettable moment of flavor. Prices are at least double what you’d pay in France for quality that wouldn’t impress a typical French boulangerie. More style than substance. I’m very sorry to say this because I miss…..🥹

Amazing vegan cookies. I got four of them and I can't pick a favourite, they were all really good. I wanted to go back and try the ones I didn't get the first time but I was not able to. On the attached picture the top one to the left is the classic chocolate chip, to the right is macadamia and caramel, bottom left is blueberry crumble and bottom right is some sort of ultimate chocolate, I don't recall the exact name.

I love their cookies and I love that everything is plant-based, and their coffee and matcha are always consistently good. The cookie I had on my last visit, however, was underbaked — the dough inside was still quite wet, which was disappointing. I also wish they had more seating options, and it would be great if dine-in orders were served on real dishes instead of paper. Best cookies ever! I used to give that crown to Levain Bakery in NYC and now this took its place. The entire shop smells like cookies, it’s amazing. We went on a Monday afternoon and they didn’t have the banana pudding, will go back again for it. A box of 4 is 17Euros and there was a short line, worth it!

Very tasty not overly sweet cookies and cute space. Honestly one cookie is too much to eat at once. There are not so many seats indoor.

We ordered the Choc Nut Cookie, the Chocolate Sea Salt Cookie, and the Banana Pudding. We’d been once before and loved the cookies so much we had to come back — this place is quickly becoming our favorite cookie spot in Berlin. We’ve tried Levain Bakery in New York and Delambre Bakery in Paris, and honestly, this is as good as it gets. The cookies are top-tier: crunchy on the outside with a beautiful crust, and soft, gooey perfection on the inside. The freshness of the ingredients really stands out — the chocolate is rich and flavorful, and I still can’t believe they’re vegan given how indulgent they taste. They’re dangerously addictive — once you start, it’s hard to stop. 👅 The banana pudding was another highlight — fresh, creamy, and even better than the one I had in New York. Service was okay, the interior has a cool vibe, and while €4.5 for a cookie is on the pricier side, the quality makes it worth it.

Empanadas are really good, although a bit small for the price. There's plenty of options to choose from, including some vegetarian ones. They're good as a snack, and you can definitely tell they're homemade. Spicy sauce is nice but you'll have to pay extra.

Everything is fresh, handmade and so so delicious. They sell very quickly, but honestly the 8 minute wait for fresh ones is really not that bad. People are so impatient and don't have enough empathy to really see what this place is doing. I've always loved Fugazetta, so rightfully, I bought two without hesitation. AND they deliver! which is dangerous lol. I'll be here regularly!

Great cafe with good variety of Empanadas. Super friendly staff, amazing combination of fillings. Some empanadas may look small, but usually it means they are on the heavier side. Besides, it's an opportunity to try different fillings 😁 Update: it's been 4 years since my first visit and they are as good as back then. Love the fact that the quality didn't drop at all!

They are SO delicious. Plenty of veggie and vegan options, perfectly stuffed and perfect dough/condiment ratio. The place is tiny if you want eat in ( two tables and a couple of stools by the window/kitchen). They do traditional recipes and some more adaptable to a European taste and different kind of diet. I recommend to have 1 as a snack, 2 for a light mesl, 3-4 as a main if you are starving.

Delicious empanadas! I really have no words! The crust is extremely tasty and moist! Beautiful little store with outdoor area. Friendly service! The spicy sauce is definitely not spicy but still fresh and tasty!

Awful service. The lady who served our group of 6 at a Saturday lunch should not work in hospitality at all. Incredibly rude and not trying to make an effort at all. In addition to her bad attitude, she mixed up our order and did not feel the need to do anything about it. Her colleague has not been much better. Shame, because the place is pretty nice and the food was good. However, the overall experience suffered because of the staff. Not recommended.

Super close to the TU Berlin campus and adjacent to the line of restaurants and hotels on the street behind the place! I would recommend visiting right when they open in the morning since there’s no crowd, the breads and coffee are super fresh, and the sunlight hits all the right spots. It gets busy very quickly and the morning staff are super lovely. I don’t read or speak German so it was chaotic for me to order, but on most days I was helped methodically by the staff. A big hug to them for making my mornings easier! Their soup of the day, coffee and croissant collection is highly recommended. Wish I could have tried one of the big breads on display.

The bread is good, but staff is mostly unfriendly and most importantly, the food served is not at all what one would expect. Ingredients are NOT top quality, they serve salad that is already old and yellow on dirty tables... and every time We have eaten there (3 times in total) we have gotten a stomachache afterwards. Maybe they are not following proper hygiene standards or I don't know... but it's definitely strange to always get sick after eating there ! We had given it the benefit of doubt two times... but after today, definetly never again.

We had a lovely lunch here: various types of bread with different cheeses and meats. The coffee was tepid, but good. Service could be better, but I highly recommend the bread and sweet buns. They are delicious!

Given the ratings and Michelin reputation, we were really looking forward to trying this place. However, we found the place to be lacking in atmosphere, the front-of-house person felt rather unwelcoming, and the food and hygiene were frankly below par. The food looked really good (see photos), but did not deliver on taste or consistency. For example, my poularde breast was overcooked and a bit tough. My partner's wine glass smelled of wet dog(!) and, on observing the kitchen staff, the chefs were not focused, joking around a lot, I saw them eating from ingredients while preparing, with dishclothes thrown over their shoulders, and wiping their hands on their clothes. Over-rated, distinctly average, would not go back. Would be 3 stars except for hygiene concerns.

It's an upscale place with great food and attentive, friendly service. It offers a small menu of simple but well executed dishes, mostly classics. Seasonal menu is great but my personal highlight was the salad of regional Mozzarella, veal and lime-estragon dressing, could've ordered this for desert again 😋

Wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has an excellent ambiance balancing higher end dining and a casual affair. The dishes were fresh and extremely well prepared. Would highly recommend dining here! One of the best meals I've had in Berlin. The service was excellent too, our server was sweet and charming the entire evening.

We had a lovely time at this Austrian quisine restaurant. We sat outside, service was friendly and efficient. Both main courses - I had the day's fish fillet - were great, nice portions too. The dessert (the classical kaiserschmarrn with marillen) was fantastic. Bread is made here too, and the coffee was tasty, so all in all a very pleasant dinner, and eventhough for Berlin somewhat pricy, you get the feeling that you got a fair return.

When I saw the Michelin sign outside the restaurant my hopes was raised. Unfortunately it didn’t meet the expectations. Not very big menu but the starters and desserts are good there are cheese alternatives in both which was good, the Apfelstrudel also looks good. The mains are just a few and most of us had the Schnitzel and I wasn’t thrilled at all. I would say it was ok but not more.

Bread and other baked goods are more expensive than they probably should, but the place is really nice, specially outdoors. It’s one of these cafes that feel quite local and it seems to be specifically designed for parents with young children. On the plus side, nothing is ever too sweet. Unfortunately I had the worst Cappuccino with oat milk of my life.. I don’t know if it was the coffee, the milk or both but something was definitely burned while making and it left the most bitter taste in the mouth. Very unfortunate for a 3.50 EUR coffee 😕

Vey nice place, seems like abandoned factory and you can see really interesting machines around, the families with children also love this place, so if you are ok with child noise you can prefer, breakfast was really yummy and foods are always fresh, they have nice coffee but they don’t have bread cutting machine.

Quality of the pasties is great if you like bio and sustainable. There is also some lunch (Mittagstisch) options, staff is friendly, the croissants are also vegan if you like. Nice Berlin courtyard if you like to sit. Cash less pay possible now!

Beautiful place in the second backyard, very peaceful in the middle of the city (easy to oversee, look out for the sign). Nice selection of baked good - couldn’t decide and went for cookie, cinnamon bun and chocolate croissant ;) All tasted very well, liked the cookie (big and crisp, not gooey) especially!

Would not go back there again! Full of wasps everywhere, they don’t even warm up the food, service isn’t great either - there are much better cafe than this!

If you look for cakes, bread or cookies that are kosher AND vegan, this is the place to go. I love getting their vegan chalot for Friday night, I adore the vegan Nussecken and all comes for a normal price. Moreover it's way better than any stuff you can get in a supermarket. Fresh, mostly organic, and for sure amazing. Keep in mind: cash only.

Excellent bakery, selling Challes, bread, delicious cakes and perfect croissants. Certified kosher! (The coffee is just like anywhere else in Berlin: Not my cup of tea.)

What a joy as tourists to be able to get challah and hamentashen for our stay. And a big thank you to very kind staff member who made sure we were only getting the kosher pastries. She even made sure we got a paper cup for our coffee. Can't wait to eat the challah tonight!

Everything baked freshly and kosher, the christmas cookies are from another planet, service is typical "berlinerisch" so some may need to get used to it.

Lovely looking produce, quick service. Decent price. Opted to have the slice warmed, would have preferred it to be s bit warmer though. Saying that the base was delicious and crunchy. The salami used is delicious.

Good pizza, only a few minutes waiting time on a busy Saturday. The pumpkin and pancetta slice was nice but could’ve been improved with a bit longer in the oven.

I actually love that place and I would gladly turn this review into 5 stars if you remove the automatic tipping option. When paying by card, you are presented first with a screen asking you to leave a tip unless you press for the "No tip" button. This is a bakery. You wait in line to pick up your products yourself. There is no reason why a tip should be required. No one wants to bring in Europe the American systematic tip culture.

Absolutely fantastic bread and the pizza 🍕 is amazingly delicious 🤤 can’t wait to get another slice. It’s now one of my most favorite pizza slices in Berlin. Highly recommended shop. Staff is also very friendly and funny.

We stopped by Markthalle Neun to get a taste of local life 🤩 I couldn't help but notice people queuing up for this pizza by the slice, and oh my goodness, it was delicious! Freshly prepared, simple and aaah🤤 Alsooo, I only drink rhubarb lemonade, eat rhubarb desserts, and even drink rhubarb wine when I'm in Germany 🤤 I adore anything rhubarb

Very nice milanese pizza, crispy at the outside and soft at the inside. Should have ordered the one with ham and artichoke as well! Focaccia is the highlight but you have to finish it right away or they will turn hard very quick!

One of Berlin’s hidden gems. The restaurant has an absolutely stunning backyard. It’s possible to find a cozy table on Sundays, but it’s better to book in advance. The hospitality is fast and very friendly. The food is interesting and, I would say, unique — somewhere between Japanese and American cuisine. Even if you order just desserts, they are nice and delicious. The main dishes are good too. I’ve already visited this place twice. I will definitely bring my friends here to show it to them.

Unusual Japanese restaurant set inside an old school. Food was so good! They had a copy of their recipe book for perusal, and I enjoyed flicking through it between courses. (Did I mention that I'm a chef?) I'm in Berlin rather a lot and I will definitely be back here.

One of the best places I've been in Berlin. If usually we eat VERY well in this city, House of Small Wonder was still one of my favorites. The beverages and food are high quality, and very tasty. As usual, there are great choices for vegetarians and vegans, and I would definitely recommend the Vegan Soboro. It was such a pleasure to eat in a beautiful garden under the sunlight. Honestly a great experience, with correct prices.

Not sure why the reviews seem so low. We’re here quite often and each time the food has been great. Portion size is quite good, quality is great and service even better. I definitely wouldn’t want the quality to go down just to appease price.. The environment is cozy outside and inside. I love the quirkiness and subtly. Obviously- we’ll be back.

Great place to eat breakfast all day long and read books 📚🤓 I ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon and it was scrumptious. I also had a fresh squeezed orange juice and an Americano. I am kinda a coffee snob and I can honestly say the coffee was great! The servers speak German and English and there is plenty of seating for a coffee date or a family outing for brunch. Also no issue with finding a parking spot which can often be an issue in the city. Last note, if you are looking for a place to work on the laptop they have internet which you can connect to 👍

This is a review of the take-away bake and coffee shop only. Looks fabulous but looks can be deceiving. Coffee americano in a little floppy paper cup tasted weak, and the pain au chocolate is a great looker and expansive but doughy and stale.

We found this place by googling. When we arrived we waited for 25 minutes to be seated. Don't worry, there is a hostess, she tells you how long the waiting time is, and calls you when your table is ready. The waiters are very friendly and professional. They speak English and German. I recommend the Philadelphia Sandwich. It was so good that we went there again the next day. The pictures are from both visits. The pancakes were also very tasty. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely visit it again next time we are in Berlin.

The food was amazing, nice cocktails and the waiters were very friendly and professional. The only downside is the long waiting list (plus it's not possible to reserve a table in advance). we had to stand next to the entrance and wait for about an hour before we entered the restaurant. The food and service definitely made us forget the long waiting time, but for future visits, I wouldn't go there on the weekends.

The food variety at this café is truly amazing. You might have to wait for a spot, and it doesn’t matter if it’s at the weekend or during the week, because it’s always busy but it's worth it for the delightful taste of the dishes. The service is exceptional, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The "Hello Tel Aviv" breakfast is my favorite, offering a nice variety of choices, and everything is incredibly tasty.

A great spot for brunch in Berlin — highly recommended!

Generous portions and good looking and tasting plates. The pancakes are a must if you go there. Coffee also really good and the guys taking us were really nice as well. The only thing we didn’t like was the canele that tasted a little burned. Definitely a place to come back.

The beef melt and the french toast were both finger-lickin' good. The portions are relatively small unfortunately which makes it quite pricey (14/15 € each dish) but still have to give 5 stars for the taste.

Silo Coffee was such a gem! Although it only opens at 8:30am—which feels pretty late for a coffee shop—it seems to be a Berlin thing. I really enjoyed it here. The matcha was good—not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely better than most in Berlin (which seriously needs to sort out its matcha game… if it’s muddy brown, maybe just don’t serve it!). The avocado toast, though, was excellent. Really generous portion, super flavourful, and reasonably priced. The radish and Swiss cheese on top were great additions that made it feel a bit special. The staff weren’t overly warm or welcoming, and I had to initiate the conversation a bit—but that might just be part of the Berlin vibe? Hard to tell, especially since they were Aussie behind the counter. Either way, I’d still definitely recommend Silo for both the food and the matcha.

Worst coffee I’ve ever had, not even exaggerating, how can you mess up a simple coffee? The hot chocolate below bare minimum, and extremely overpriced. Should’ve went to a McDonald’s to be honest, you will find a decent coffee there at least.

It’s not the cheapest place, but the food is good — and most importantly, there’s a not bad selection of healthy options. We ordered a chicken salad (pictured), a fruit porridge, and a fresh juice made with spinach and celery.

I just live it! Relaxing ambience, very friendly service and food and drunks are finally healthy and affordable in price. I just finished healthy program wildfit and it was so great to find trendy restoran where almost everything on the menu fits to this healthy way of living. Thank you so much. They alternate offers before /after 18o'clock so don't be surprised,both are really great.for drinks I recommend detox super green smoothi or this wonderfully fruit tea that it is actually made of small pieces of fruit and berries.

I would only recommend this place for drinks/coffee, as they have some pretty nice options. The staff is also very friendly. However, food is absolutely terrible and quite pricey. I ordered a salmon bowl and not only it tasted really bad, but the rice was not cooked properly and the whole thing was microwaved. My friend order something with cauliflower that also didn't taste good nor fresh, like everything was just defrosted.

We had a really bad experience. Overpriced, bad food and really very low service standards. We order eggs Benedict and they were simply not cooked. We informed the staff and nobody took responsibility or apologised. In the end they even asked for a tip. Very nice joke.

Since I am receiving newsletters to give a review, I will. Bar is OK. Nothing fancy compared to other Berlin bars. I booked a table for me and 2 girlfriends last week. We stayed around 1h30, ordered 2 cocktails each. Spent around 40min talking and pacing ourselves before the next round. Suddenly, waitress came and asked us to leave because « her manager booked the table » and said it is in the reservation policy. It is not. I triple checked. Poor customer experience and unprofessional behaviour. We left and went to another place, spent even more and enjoyed our time. Never again. It is not worth the hype.

I love this place, and always come for the best cocktails in town! Always advise all of my friends to try it out. The only thing that I’d recommend is to make the music a bit quieter , you basically spend most of the time screaming, since you can’t hear what’s your friends are saying. I do get when the music is so loud in clubs, but it’s a sitting bar, so people would love to be able to talk to each other. I’d be really grateful if this could be considered by the team. We passed by this place just as they were closing up for the evening, and even though the lights were already off, the display window still caught our eye. Something about it pulled us in, so we popped inside to ask if we could still get something to go. To our delight, we were warmly welcomed – no problem at all. Side note: the service here is consistently fantastic. We went for a box of six and didn’t regret it. A beautiful mix of indulgent cupcakes – from espresso martini and caramel to dark chocolate and peanut butter – plus a fantastic little sponge cake, made it a delight from the first bite to the last. Each piece felt thoughtfully crafted and well-balanced. We actually came back the very next day during our short Berlin stay to try more – including some of the macarons and other temptations from the display. The price-performance ratio is absolutely on point. For Berlin, and especially for this level of quality, it’s a total win. By the time we picked up our second box, the place was packed with a lively, diverse crowd – and rightfully so. Tigertörtchen has earned a permanent spot on our Berlin food map. If you’re into creative, fairly priced sweets served with a warm smile, you’re in the right place.

The shop inside looks pretty decent with a space where you can relax and enjoy your cupcakes and coffee. Cupcakes by itself tiny but so delicious. There are different flavors for your taste. In a display case you can also find macarons. The service was also good. Lady behind the desk was very helpful.

Very nice café with a wide range of mini cupcake varieties that taste really delicious. And because they are so small, you can try several :) The staff here are super friendly and there are also some very nice seats in front of the shop in the green. Overall, highly recommended!

One of our favorite places to be in Berlin! The cupcakes are really good, although each location of that brand has a different selection, which makes it difficult to get only the ones you like. The service was really good and the staff is being trained well. The area is nice and the possibilities to sit very comfortable. Sadly they do not have a toilet, which is not nice if you want to have a longer brunch and especially if you like to drink more than one drink.

A very pleasant spot for pierogies or their selection of polish street food. Feels like someone made it for you from their home. The person behind the counter was always pleasant, with a warm smile and helped explain for a non German speaker. Also allowed mixing pierogies which was a nice touch. Highly recommended for the area!

Such a great quick bite to eat. My fiancée and I (she’s Polish) came here for dinner and ordered a glass of barszcz, 2 servings of the gross (10 pierogi) with half of the first being beetroot pierogi and beef pierogi, and the 2nd portion being half potato pierogi and half mushroom pierogi. All of these were beautiful. Props to the only gentlemen on tonight (19/09) for doing the best he could with our massive order. Tak Tak is a must.

It's a cool small place to get some Polish street food. We got borscht with pierogi, pierogi Mix (potato and Sauerkraut 5 each) and the pizza baguette (Wurst). One thing to note is that the bortsch doesn't have anything in it other than pierogi. It's just the liquid/stock so keep that in mind before ordering. Pierogi were quite nice and perfect to eat at a nearby park. The highlight was definitely the pizza baguette. I would 100% return for that.

Affordable comfort Polish food right in the MIDDLE of Berlin. 100% go for it! Worth every penny spent. spinach and beet root pierogis were my personal favourites but I’ll recommend the mixed platter. I’d definitely keep going again.

If you're longing for some Dutch poffertjes, then I'd say skip this place, they're a bit too soggy compared to the original/authentic ones. Also, there should be more powder sugar on it. Pannekoeken don't look like the original but their taste is way more on point. Quite the entertaining decoration and it was nice that there was no music playing.

This was a great breakfast cafe. The pancakes were delicious with a very unique texture. I tried the Dutch stroop syrup as well which was rich with flavor. Also high on the list was their iced herbal tea with an amazing blend of flavors. Would love to come back and explore the menu further.

For Tourists- yeah go and try it, why not! Cute place, nice people. But for Dutch people expecting anything authentic- stay FAR away. Except for the imported ‘van Gilse Stroop’ they cannot make one single thing like it’s supposed to be in the Netherlands. Just drive the 6 hours west and enjoy the real thing :) Oh and ‘lekker meisjes’ is both grammatically incorrect and frankly a little offensive.

Very cute and very popular place with dutch cousin. Pannekoeken are interesting dish, plenty of choice with different stuffing, sweet and not sweet. Not sure about veggie options, in many of them was cheese. They accept both cash and cards.

The pancake with corn and spinach was really nutritious and tasty. They offer Dutch hot chocolate made from good quality cocoa.The interior is warm & cosy and the staff is friendly😊. It’s a nice place to drop in while visiting Dutch district in Potsdam☺️.

This is a very cute and cosy little 100% gluten free cafe that would be delightful for reading, or catching up with friends. They have some vegan options too. The staff are SUPER warm and friendly. Even the other patrons - one customer wished me “Guten Appetit” as my food arrived, how sweet! I tried a non-vegan margherita pizza, but I have to say it was just ok. A bit heavy and thick. Good flavour from the sauce though. Perhaps their bread rolls would be better as that is what they are known for.

Really disappointing. The brownie is NOT a brownie - it was so bland and dry. Zero chocolate flavour. The cherry slice was alright - more flavour needed again. The apple slice was nice. The bread with the carrot inside was quite good for gluten free bread. The little white bread rolls were super hard / stale. It’s always exciting to find gluten free bakeries but then it’s such a letdown when the produce is not good.

My favorite gluten free bakery in town. Not only is the bread amazing, but the environment is very welcoming and the staff is incredibly kind and sweet. They have many options, both sweet and savory, for celiacs who are unable to eat oats and try to stay away from buckwheat. I cannot recommend this bakery enough; every time I stop by I dream of working there simply because of how wonderful it is. Majority of the food is vegan as well, unless you ask for non-vegan butter to pair with your bread which is perfect for those with gluten, dairy, and egg allergies! I simply cannot recommended this bakery enough! If you are a big fan of bread but have been disappointed in the past with gluten free options, this is the place that will change your opinion entirely!

First lunch in Berlin, got recommended this place by ChatGPT since I didn’t know what to eat and had just spent 3.5 hours wandering around Mitte. The hot dog was fantastic and I very much enjoyed the Caprese sandwich too. They have both warm and cold options, which was great because I wanted something warm and filling. A great introduction to German chain bakeries with affordable pricing!

Backwerk in the Alexanderplatz station offered a seat and great sandwiches. The have a variety of sandwiches with cheese or ham. The sandwiches taste fresh and the Coffee was good. Prices are relatively low however don't expert too much of the interior design..

Rather expensive, which was expectable on Alexanderplatz. Food and drinks are really okay, just as everywhere else. The dining area behind was unheated at all in the middle of winter - there was not any warmer than outside. Apparently the stuff like this becomes a norm in Germany. Also no WC for customers.

This place has kouign amann (occasionally since they must sell rather fast, but still). The croissants taste like my childhood in a small town in France. Buttery, crispy, soft, silky, delicious. They have a french playlist going on, without it being sterotypical. Just, french music, from the 80's to today. The mood is calm and nice. Please remember to say "s'il vous plaît" and "merci", since the service is really nice. A personal favorite.

Only tried desserts here. Unfortunately, they weren’t any special. Small tart with berries had only a tiny bit of creme. It was completely dry. Pear tart was too sweet. In summary, completely average pastries. Service was also incredibly slow.

Went on a Wednesday early afternoon and didn't need to wait for a table. We got the latte, iced tea, pancakes, and egg, sausage and cheese muffin. Everything was very delicious. The sausage was perfectly spiced and meaty, and the bread was fluffy. Best pancakes ever!

Annelies makes probably the dreamiest pancakes in the world, and they taste just as good as they look! just make sure to share or it can get a bit overwhelming. the sausage, egg & cheese sandwich was also super tasty and indulgent, though a little on the sweet side with the pancake buns. chill vibes, decent flat white, and I’ll definitely be back, mainly for those incredible pancakes! 🥞

This café is a popular choice when searching for cafés in Berlin, especially for its famous 4-stack pancake. We visited on Wednesday morning before it opened, so we managed to get a table quickly. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is okay. We tried the famous buttermilk pancake, and it was delicious. It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, almost like Korean hotteok. The cinnamon bun was average, with a doughy texture but overly sugary. The coffee was strong and good. If you’re a pancake enthusiast, it is definitely worth checking out the pancake. But if there is a long queue, I would probably go for an alternative.

the food at annelies is very aesthetically pleasing and literally works of art, and it’s a quality place for interesting twists on classic breakfast/brunch food, but i will say it’s a bit pricey for the amount you get. the buttermilk pancakes were stacked high and each one was thick and soft and a bit warm. i absolutely LOVED the combination of cold, fresh cultured cream — which had a smooth, bright dairy flavour — and the thick slice of rich, velvety butter. the slightly sour yet sweet berry compote and the earthy nuttiness of the crunchy granola also added a fantastic touch. the syrup was sweet and sticky, but quite normal. the sausage breakfast sandwich is very .. american tasting??? the egg was super soft, and the pancake was a nice touch because it added a bit of sweetness, but i think the savouriness of the (very thick and juicy!!!!) sausage and the large slice of american cheese made it a little bit too salty. the spicy mayo was sharper in flavour and a bit tangy, but it was also quite salty. it was also quite difficult to eat because of how high it was stacked. i really enjoyed the scrambled egg on toast though — the egg was super silky and the sourdough was crispy on the outside yet super soft on the inside ?!?!? the tangy red sauce on the side was also quite the unique pairing and i liked the little kick it provided.

The pancake was great! But the service ruined everything. The person who gave us a table he was great. But We sat down for like 15 mins, no one came to get our order. The one waitress who walked by us several times, served table around us, but couldn’t bother to give us some eye contact or to come and take our order. The people who came in later than us, sat down later than us, got their order taken first, some table got even coffee served already… I am not sure, if this girl had any issues with us?! I mean.. we didn’t interact with her at all, so there shouldn’t be any beef between us? But then .. why?! I had to grab another waitress just to order… Also I heard that they offer a bottle of tap water for free, as we walked in, I did see all the tables have a bottle of water, so I thought okay they do offer that. But of course, for whatever the reason, we did not get that either. Finally this one waitress started to bring our coffee to the table, she came with coffee in her hand and a very weird look on her face. Usually I am not a sensitive person but I started to think she just hates Asians. So in the end they brought the bill and mentioned about tips, I chose “no tips” on the machine because i mean.. NO.

I found this place on timeout before visiting Berlin, and it was really the highlight of the trip 😂We are lucky to be there early as there was already a queue before the place is open. Of course, I came here for their well known pancakes. The pancakes were unlike anything I’ve had before — super fluffy, light, and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in how they’re made. Coffee is also good I ordered an extra matcha latte to try and it was really good too! Definitely worth the hype and a must-visit if you are in Berlin and love pancakes!

These guys achieve an absolutely fantastic espresso flavor. Chai latte was also outstanding. The Swiss chocolate cake is very chocolatey and at the same time sweet enough. It packs quite a lot of flavor, so it makes for a good treat to share between two people. Is it a working-friendly place? You bet it is. Multiple plugs and numerous tables, plus chill music will get you typing happy.

I found this place by accident, and so happy I did! They have the most authentic and delicious sfogliatelle, same taste as you would have in Italy (as I know they have an Italian pastry chef, and it really shows on the quality). Although it cost twice as much as in Naples, but it's worth it, as its almost impossible to find such authentic Italian pastry in Berlin. Coffee is also great. The atmosphere is very calm, people who work here are kind. Much recommended.

Absolutely love this place, tried it many times and it's always as good as the last, the service and the atmosphere makes you feel like home and even though the place is small it invites you to stay there for hours, but the real highlight is the chocolate for the churros, it is honestly one of the best things I tried in my life, the first time I had it honestly left me so satisfied that I lost all need to try a new place for churros because I knew I found the definitive place in Berlin.

Amazing bread that are baked fresh daily. Came during winter time and my glasses always fog up inside, goes to show it's a warm place to hide from the cold! Owner doesn't speak English but you can just point to bread on display to purchase

They offer a wide variety of flavors, and I chose Maracuja Mascarpone and Sicilian Lemon Sorbet, both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and melted perfectly in my mouth. A real treat and highly recommended for anyone visiting the neighborhood.

While strolling Hackesche Hofe, we spotted this by accident and it had most amazing eclairs we had ever looked at or tasted- we tried pumpkin and apricot one & black sesame chocolate. We even tried its chunky peanut ice-cream which was absolutely delicious If you are in Berlin, a must must try

I had this place saved on my list for quite some time and I finally tried it! I tried the seasonal Pumpkin Spice one and the Pecan Vanilla. I really enjoyed the Pumpkin Spice one, crunchy, surprising, not overly sweet. The Pecan Vanilla one was nice too, a solid eclair, but not a surprising flavor. NB: Please note they don’t have eclairs daily! They only have them from Wed to Sun (currently). Make sure to check for updates before going.

Listen, I've wanted to try Canal's eclairs for years. Finally got there when they had some (they sell out often) and got 3 flavours to try, listed in order of how they tasted: White chocolate passionfruit Pumpkin spice (seasonal) Raspberry pistachio The white chocolate passionfruit was incredibly flavourful and moist - would definitely get it again. But the others were only okay. I wouldn't go out of my way for them. Kind of dry and a bit bland.

Possibly the only cafe in Berlin that does scones and it does them well. A single scone with very good clotted cream and jam is expensive at 5.90 but entirely authentic. The coffee is better priced at 3€ for an americano and tastes very good.

I have never eaten egg drop before, and I quite liked it. The bacon one could have been better though. In terms of affordability, I find it a bit pricey to have a sandwich for 12 euros, but for a weekend brunch, it is ok.

Visited this brunch spot in Schöneberg and found it quite pricey for Berlin standards (€30–35 per person). Ordered a vegetarian burrito and a mixed juice (carrot & ginger)—unfortunately, the burrito was overly salty, and the vegetables lacked freshness and crunch. The juice was fine but not great in quantity. Interestingly, my friend’s dish had the opposite issue—no salt at all. However, the service was warm and friendly, and the ambiance was nice, so that was a plus. Might give it another try, but the food quality needs improvement.

Ok food, Terrible service. The waitress was rude from the moment she came to our table — for no reason. Up to that point, she had been smiling and cheerful with other guests. She refused to split the bill, claiming that charging the numbers would need a 15-minute reboot. After I insisted on waiting, she left and came back a minute later saying we could pay. The entire process — including the discussion — took 7 minutes. Rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily aggressive, just to despite. The place was almost empty, so it wasn't the issue. I sent them an email about it — no response. The food is definitely not worth €23 — and certainly not worth being humiliated by the staff. I won’t be coming back, and I do not recommend this place.

good establishment, good menu, good dishes. but there was nothing wow. one thing that I didn't really like was that the tartar was heavily covered with sesame oil, so that no other flavors could be felt. Time passed and I came back here. This time I took an potato terrine and extra bread with butter. The butter was 10/10. The bread was not toasted, cool 7/10. But the omelette was hearty, large and perfectly finished. Our waiter was very nice and sweet. The second impression was much better than the first

This place was really spectacular. The chicken 3000 (displayed in the picture) was just outstanding. The staff were very friendly and were happy to explain any questions about the food. The shop looked modern and I had a table close to the kitchen so I could see how some of the meals were prepared. The only negative thing that I could mention about this place is that the caramel-bacon sauce that went with the chicken 3000 was slightly too sweet for my liking. Overall I would give this amazing place a 9.5/10

I rarely leave food on my plate, especially when it comes to pizza. Unfortunately this one was not up to standards. The dough had a weird flavour, it was chewy and burned at the bottom. However, the service was incredibly quick, the waiters were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I will not get back though as I did not like the pizza much.

Ordering via QR code is a great idea to reduce wait times, but it’s surprising that payment isn’t integrated ; enabling it would really streamline the experience, especially if the goal is to optimize service without adding more staff. On the other hand, the card-only payment option at the end is efficient and helps speed things up. I ordered a 4 Formaggi (my usual benchmark for pizzas): the crust was good, but the cheese ratio was way off ; far too much for my taste, to the point that I couldn’t finish and had to take the rest home. The tiramisu was just okay. Despite the chaos, our waiter was very nice and attentive with us. Being seated at the bar, right next to the kitchen, we could sense some tension between the kitchen and the waiters, but I assume it was mostly due to a very busy Friday evening at peak hours. Overall, the food quality is fine, but the service and balance of the dishes could be improved to make the experience more enjoyable.

Return visit after 2 years and the vegan pizza is even better than I remembered. Very well thought out, with juicy chucks of seasonal vegetables and lumps of spicy pesto that mimics salsiccia (in the way it looks) and crispy roasted almonds. There’s really no need for cheese or cream, it’s perfect. The best vegan pizza in Berlin.

Food Quality: at first i was surprised to see the four cheeses pizza without any sauce, but the combination of the cheeses with the tasty fresh made dough was a very good combination. The dough is very good and the rest of the ingredients tasted quite good. Portions: very good size pizzas Drinks: normal drink options available. Price: $$ not expensive but a bit higher than the regular pizza places. Service: very friendly. Happy they managed to accommodate us without a reservation. Atmosphere: nice big place. Lots of space. Also attached to their own bakery which seems to have very good options as well. Highlights: pizzas are delicious.
